"Lovely stay with perfect location"
EmmaClinch, 17 Avril 2024

We stayed for 4 nights in a triple room and it was perfect. The room was lovely, clean and modern! Only downside was the smart tv didn't have any apps nor could we access any channels in English. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and the main train / tube station (Termini) was just across the road.

"Disappointing….lovely staff tho"
ants366, 05 Avril 2024

Firstly the staff are amazing - very polite and efficient and so friendly. We stayed for 4 nights initially in an economy double which we “upgraded.” This cost £120 extra. The “upgraded” room had a view of a dismal courtyard, one dressing gown, one pair of slippers (my left foot and my wife's right foot were toasty!) and a bath which looked like a large toilet. There was black mold all around it. The shower attachment didn't fit in the holder so fell out constantly and sprayed water everywhere - the shower screen had a gap in the seal at the base which flooded the bathroom - honestly I nearly slipped and died twice! The TV was quite a new Samsung “smart” TV - the home button didn't work and there were no apps on it so it wasn't “smart” at all - it was thick! - we were reduced to four English news channels and that's it. I now hate the news. Location was fine - reasonably close to the attractions to walk and right next to the Termini and Metro which was easy to use. Taxi cost from the centre was approx 8-10 Euros which was reasonable. When we asked about the issues we just got apologies. Wouldn't stay again - hotel dated despite being reasonably modern - I stress though that generally the staff were lovely…

"Bad experience"
Nikki S, 05 Avril 2024

Hotel room was very tired. Our bathroom was disgusting, bath looked like a toilet with an awful black plastic ring around it, the shower? Well it was something to wash your hair with. I've never felt dirty having a wash before I went to this hotel! Staff were lovely though! Wouldn't stay again!

"Perfect location, friendly staff - would highly recommend"
Angiepenz, 04 Avril 2024

Perfect location for sight seeing near the Termini, with very friendly, helpful staff. We had daily room service, and our room was gorgeous. We had a fridge & kettle (Would have liked more English TV channels) Breakfast provided a big selection & lovely cappuchino. Dinner was also flavoursome & well priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Excellent hotel will stay again."
Global07350060500, 22 Mars 2024

Ideally located 7 minutes walk from Termini railway station and Metro lines A and B. Hotel very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of both hot and cold food, fruit, yoghurt and pastries and cake. Evening meal in The White restaurant very good food and value for money compared to some local tourist restaurants. Bedroom was adequate size and was cleaned each day. Special thanks to Patrizia restaurant manager who was very welcoming and helpful at breakfast time and restaurant staff Marine and Nadia.

"Great hotel near Termini in Rome"
Jae0829, 16 Mars 2024

The location of this hotel is excellent since it is very close to Termini Station (train, subway, and bus). The room was very clean, and breakfast was great too. There are many restaurants and shopping places around.

"Great clean hotel in perfect location for exploring."
jenstero, 04 Mars 2024

Great clean hotel with perfect location next to central termini. We used it as our base for exploring Rome in the summer. The air conditioning worked perfectly and rooms were very clean and safe. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

"Will stay again when in Rome"
Tejtej18, 26 Février 2024

We stayed one night but this hotel is awesome ! Spacious and beautiful rooms and hotel is modern . Staff were friendly and very accommodating . So close to Roma Termini . Shops and restaurants nearby . A hop on hop off bus parked across to anyone who wanted to buy tickets to tour Rome sights . Abundance of taxis . What more is there to ask ?

"Great Hotel"
ScottishLass226, 18 Février 2024

Great location right by the train & bus station, easy & cheap to get to from the airport on the airport shuttle bus with cases. A good walk (30 mins) to most sights & plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Hotel was very comfortable, super comfy bed, very quiet for a good nights sleep after sightseeing. Staff were friendly & helpful, would recommend this hotel.

"Great location, clean hotel, great breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent Hotel"
LucyENR, 11 Février 2024

We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room. First impression felt like the hotel was a little out of the way but on the first day we realised that the location is perfect. We used public transport during our stay using the great 48 hour tickets you can get in Rome. As the hotel is next to the main train and bus station is Rome, most bus lines either end or pass through there, and also the metro. For 5 stars for location. The triple room was really big, probably the biggest hotel room we have ever had which makes a big difference to comfort when there is room for all of the luggage etc comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom big with an excellent shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was lovely, great selection, all very fresh. And staff were very polite. All of the staff we spoke to were very helpful and very polite, all reception staff were nice and the manager very friendly. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Rome which we hope will be soon!

"Short trip to Roma"
jlawrence1497, 07 Février 2024

We stayed here for 3 nights for the 6 Nations and had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in process was smooth and the bar staff were great. The rooms were large and modern, with a big Samsung TV and decent bathroom. The only real "issue" was that the WiFi was a bit patchy in our room. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Linda804, 03 Février 2024

Lovely hotel very near the termini. Area around not so nice but not a problem because we didn't spend much time in the area. Reception staff friendly we had a quick efficient check in. Room nice and spacious, clean good size bed which was comfortable with nice clean bedding. It was very quiet. Staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly especially the two ladies who were on the nights we were here. They both looked after us worked very hard and kept the area clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We would definitely stay here again.

"Superb 4 Star Hotel near the Rome Termini Train Station"
Allison O, 27 Janvier 2024

Being a Best Western loyalty member, I wanted a good quality hotel in Rome near the main Termini train station. The Royal Santina, was just a few minutes walk away. The location was ideal for all the sightseeing activities we had planned. Not only was the guest room clean and comfortable, the quality of the complimentary breakfast was superb, the choices were extensive. Great place to stay in Rome! And when we continued on to Florence, it was an easy stroll back to the train station.

"Stay at BW Premier Hotel Royal Santini"
StanbPa, 05 Décembre 2023

Everything was excellent. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Food was great and service was excellent. All the staff from the front desk to service staff and restaurant went above and beyond to insure everything went well.

"Perfect location, great value"
Guide29164956370, 25 Novembre 2023

Perfect hotel for a Rome visit! I picked it based on other Tripadvisor reviews, and it did not disappoint. Very close to the train station (gigantic Termini), so it was easy to walk from the station to our hotel with our luggage. Usually you compromise on location, price, or quality, but this hotel is very nice, clean, modern, friendly, and affordable. The breakfast is fantastic. I had not included it in our room, but we all decided to eat it (€16 each) once we took a look. Well worth it. The hotel was €155, I think.

"Excellent hotel in its category"
JoachimP428, 02 Octobre 2023

Located a short walk from the Roma Termini train station, where you can take a train to the airport (takes 32 minutes). Very friendly, service-oriented and professional staff that gives great tips on restaurants in the area. Nice bar area and excellent breakfast buffet. The rooms were nice and clean with good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Good WiFi

"Superb location. Great hotel."
Luigi I, 23 Août 2023

Superb location. Very clean. Staff are wonderful. Very helpful. If you are looking for a gym, this is not the hotel for you. Small and faulty equipment. However, skip the gym and walk for hours instead. This hotel is so centrally located that you can walk everywhere in Rome. A special thank you to Patrizia who manages the restaurant and the gentleman who runs breakfast. Incredibly warm and professional. A superb breakfast buffet. Also a huge grazie to Paula at the front desk for her restaurant suggestions and arrangements. If you are going to Rome, I highly recommend this hotel. Grazie Mille to everyone at the hotel for exceptional service.

"Great value for money, excellent location"
KarenPacemaker, 13 Août 2023

Other than the internet going down for a night, the cleanliness, location, amenities, rooms and services were very good. The rooms were clean and modern, the bathtubs are huge, they use refillable bottles for soap and shampoo, and the staff is knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant hotel tto stay in, and the location was perfect, right in the centre of sights to see, within walking distance.

"Lovely hotel in the heart of Rome"
Psycrow, 07 Août 2023

We stayed here for 3 nights before our cruise began. The hotel was chosen by Celebrity and I have to say it was one of the highlights of the trip. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Rooms were really nice and modern, with comfy beds and a swish LED mood lighting system. The air con allowed the room to cool as low as 16 Celsius, which is just perfect for me to sleep sound. The breakfast was decent enough and the dinner the same. Not the best, but good enough. Needs a pool, but then I don't think it's that kind of hotel. I will definitely be staying here again when next in Rome.

"The best place to stay in Rome!"
957sudhirg, 05 Août 2023

This hotel is most conveniently located near Roma Termini (the big terminus of trains that houses many shopping malls and food courts), the stop for the bus to the International airport is just across, you only need to cross the road to reach the footpath on the opposite side! Rooms are excellent, well appointed, most imp: Tea kettle for making hot water is provided along with Tea/Coffee making kit. This is imp because post- COVID, most European hotels have stopped this service. For those who need their first tea/coffee upon getting up and before going down for hotel breakfast, this is a great thing to have. The room is fitted with a very large TV set on the wall and it runs English language channels like BBC, CNN, Sky News etc. Breakfast spread is good, the reception area has a small "library" with a nice collection of books, free chocolates and small sweets. The staff speaks English.

"Fantastic Experience - Exceeded All Expectations!"
BethBrighamOK, 26 Juillet 2023

I booked this hotel because it is one block from Roma Termini station. I arrived hot and tired and not sure what to expect because it was so affordable. To my delight, I was treated like a rock star at the front desk by Carlos, who was so pleasant and professional! He upgraded me to a junior suite with a balcony. Bed was comfortable, internet was fast, room was spotless and the shower water pressure was strong. I'm now completely won over, and plan to stay at this hotel every time I visit Roma in the future. Carlos was professional, kind and friendly, and even helped me book a car to the airport the next morning. The best hotel I stayed at in two weeks in Italia!

"Great Vacation Hotel"
Phillyz1, 03 Juillet 2023

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk team was professional and helpful, especially with taxis and securing airport/cruise port transportation. The breakfast buffet was one of the best, I have seen for the price. There were pancakes, waffles, a pastry station, eggs, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, coffee, teas and so much more. The breakfast host welcomed us and made us feel right at home every morning. The hotel is older, but was renovated very nice. You could see some of the old charm mixed in with the new modern vibe. The room was a nice size, plenty of space for the two of us. We had a room with a king size bed, it was very comfortable, especially after our long flight. We would definitely stay here again.

"Excellent location"
Touristy_D, 01 Juillet 2023

Excellent location, just walking distance from the Termini. Even tour buses are available right across the road. The room was large & spacious, and so was the bathroom. The hotel staff was courteous & extended help when we sought it, like booking an airport transfer. But this is a busy hotel in a big city, and we found that the kind of personalised customer experience that we got in other hotels in other cities was missing here.

"Super hotel, great location & fabulous staff"
Karen H, 16 Juin 2023

Fabulous hotel, very clean, superb location close to train station and bus tour stop across the road Staff all very helpful and friendly. Visited for my husbands birthday and they gave us a room with a view and welcome drinks. Made our stay even more special

"Great place to stay"
chrispaulboyes, 15 Juin 2023

This place is brilliant modern rooms and great bathroom king size bed was so soft and comfortable.the breakfast was a feast of everything you could want and very tasty.the staff we encountered was all polite friendly and helpful.great location opposite termini rail station so all sights in Rome within walking distance or get a bus or tube highly recommend we will return.

"Superb location, nice breakfast, very efficient staff"
RonL40, 10 Juin 2023

Great location across the street from the railroad station. The staff was very kind with suggestions and help whenever we asked. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed. Excellent place for us to start our trip to Italy and then visit again at the end. Breakfast was much more than the typical Continental breakfast at some Italian restaurants; drinks and coffee at the bar all day. Fun time having drinks on the terrace on our last night. We'll definitely return.

"Most Enjoyable Stay"
Richcrow1974, 02 Février 2023

Ok arrival we were greeted by the beautiful and very pleasant Paula who was so helpful. We upgraded to a Junior Suite got a great deal and it was well worth it. Lovely big balcony with a great rooftop view of Rome. Rooms very clean we had a very comfy bed along with a great shower and bath. Two TV's one each room. Breakfast was lovely plenty of options hot and cold and again the lady who greeted us each morning was so nice and friendly. Proximity to Termini ( main bus and train station) is ideal 5mins walk. So if travelling by train or bus to termini it's ideal. Also termini is the starting point for big bus hop on/off tours. We had a fantastic time in a magnificent city whilst you don't spend to much time in your hotel it's nice to know it's somewhere nice clean and friendly

"Convenient, quiet, a solid choice."
Hugh T, 21 Décembre 2022

Let's start at the beginning; check in was smooth and quick. We were informed of the hotel amenities and the most important thing, when breakfast opened. We stayed on the 7th floor in a room with a large balcony. That gave us the ability to lower the temperature and get a bit of fresh air. Great king sized bed, separate shower and tub, couch, desk and chair, with a kettle and tea/coffee. Quiet and comfortable. Hard surfaces on the floor, my favorite. A closet, something that's rare in some hotels nowadays. Plenty of luggage/clothes storage. I think we were in a Junior Suite, though not sure. Perfect room. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of options. Similar to a full English with beans, sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. Plus cheese, cold cuts, fruit and the usual pastries. They usually ask if you'd like a specialty coffee when you approach the breakfast check in area. Filter coffee and hot water for tea is in a separate area. We love the location near the Termini station. It allows you to grab a train or metro to anywhere. We usually stay for a few days in Rome and then travel to other parts of Italy, so the location is a big plus. Although the area isn't lovely, the hotel is. It's an easy walk to and from the station on Via Marsala. And, the airport bus stop is across the street if you take it in from FCO. We've stayed in lots of hotels in Rome over the years, and this one is a solid option for future trips.

"Nice hotel - needs new Reception staff"
Kyla K, 18 Décembre 2022

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights 13th 17 th Dec - hotel is clean and in a great location. Breakfast was adequate nothing special but the staff at breakfast were really nice. Very unpleasant checkout with the rudest staff I have ever encountered Rinna P and helped in the rudeness department by her colleague Paula. Girls maybe have a think about the way you spoke to me and your rudeness to my husband unacceptable

"Well located modern city centre hotel"
Cmalone857, 18 Décembre 2022

Stayed at the hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. The location is excellent for Roma Termini station. Room was average size for a city centre hotel so not too big however modern and very clean with mood lighting. Bathroom was of a good size. The hotel provides a good quality typical continental breakfast. Staff were helpful and advised on recommending local restaurants. The hotel represents good value for money.

"Pictures made the rooms looked better than they were."
Nicholas C, 16 Décembre 2022

Was a little disappointed with the rooms. Bathroom layout was a little strange, with the bathtub being narrow and shower fixture sticking out. Kept bumping my elbow into it. Glass shower curtain only cover halfway which meant a wet floor. Towel rack on the other side of the bathroom meant more wet floor. Sink tap design also such that water would splash onto area where you would place your toiletries. Shower gel empty but not refilled for 2 days. Also, 1 bottle of water for 2 people over 3 days is a bit sad. It's not that expensive to provide more water than that. We had to go purchase our own. Overall, it didn't feel very "Premier" to me. Was not recognized as an Elite member either though this is not a big deal.

"Amazing Stay"
Vicjento, 29 Novembre 2022

We used the hotel as a home base for almost a week in Rome and couldn't have been happier. Patrizia and Franco at breakfast launched each day with their amazing service and attitudes. All staff at the front desk were helpful and welcoming and with it's central location so close to Termini Station we were able to get everywhere easily and economically. Our room was clean and comfortable, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would definitely book again when we return to Rome.

"Not a 4*"
ramonai2814, 24 Novembre 2022

Prices for a 4 stars, but not a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are ridiculously small, breakfast is the same every morning and not many options. Placed near Termini, is a good location. friendly and helpful staff, but that's the only pros I found. Would not recommend.

"Review from a wheelchair user pov. "
Tali M, 18 Novembre 2022

Very convenient location, right next to Termini Station. Easy commute to anywhere in the city by bus/metro, to the airport and to any other cities in Italy and Europe. At night not very pleasant to walk around. The hotel isn't close to main tourist attractions. The wheelchair accessible room is big enough for a wheelchair, enough space to access the bed, but the floor is carpeted. The bed is raised, possible to use a hoist if needed. The bathroom however is very tight to maneuver in a wheelchair. Equipped with grab bars, roll-in shower with (uncomfortable) shower bench, roll-under sink and a bidet. Overall the room was clean and comfortable, but had a very strong smell of cleaning products, probably from the carpet. Breakfast area is spacious and easy to navigate in a wheelchair. The biggest accessibility fails were the ramp at the hotel entrance (small but very steep) and lack of accessible reception counter.

"Doing Rome"
foohbah, 12 Novembre 2022

Stayed here due to location it's a really easy train transfer from the airport. Rooms were clean ( ours was quiet)with everything you need. Central location meant rooms were compact, we had a walk in shower the bathroom size was ok. The reception area/lobby is quite clinical and has no ambience. Breakfast was ok but most days (5 breakfasts) some products were out of supply or slow to be filled. Pretty close to the main train termini we didn't expect the area to be pristine but we were surprised by how grimy it was, lots of graffiti and litter. Although it felt quite safe to walk around, other areas were cleaner for example around Vatican City, the coliseum and the major tourist attractions. Great for a city break we were out all day and most nights

"Stay Somewhere Else!"
Sian033033, 06 Novembre 2022

I spend a lot of time in hotels and this was my worst experience of 2022. Staff were particularly poor and unhelpful both during and post stay. No breakfast packet available for early departures, Receptionist was asleep when we came down and left. I left something behind and have given up trying to get it back as they were charging insane shipping costs - even domestically. I received aggressive and threatening emails from staff for questioning this. They can keep the one star for the pancakes at breakfast on the first day, but that was probably the only thing this place had going for it. The coloured lighting made the room look like a whore's boudoir!

"A wonderful stay in beautiful Rome, made so much better by the amazing staff at the Royal Santina"
lwigham, 29 Octobre 2022

We stayed at the Royal Santina having being recommended by our son who stopped here in the summer. It was certainly worth paying a little extra. We could not fault it. Great staff, wonderful service and great food. We loved it.

"Lovely hotel"
Jo S, 16 Octobre 2022

Nice hotel. Clean. Room was spacious. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms had everything you needed. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Termini train station so is easy to get to the airport. Colosseum, Trevi fountain & Spanish steps all approx 25 minute walk. Used the metro to get to The Vatican which was simple. Loved Rome & will stay here again when we return one day

"Comfortable bed: awful breakfast"
Patricia P, 10 Octobre 2022

The room was fine for an overnight. Our disappointment was with the Buffet Breakfast €12 per person. The main reason for taking breakfast here was convenience as we had a transfer pickup booked to Citavicitta so it made sense to eat at the hotel. Each and every item I tasted was poor quality and tasted like prepackaged. I have often read about the good/ great quality of Best Western breakfasts but this one was beyond disappointing. Didn't have time to talk to the hotel staff as pick-up arrived early. Someone in this hotel needs to seriously review their breakfast offering. The poor quality also was evident in the amount of food( ultimately waste) that was left at the tables. I'm sure with a thorough examination of the supply chain and quality of what is being served, Best Western here could redeem its reputation

"Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina"
GPOshawa, 25 Septembre 2022

We stayed two nights at the Royal Santina near Termini Station Rome Italy. The hotel was very clean, great price, included breakfast. We had the basic room with a queen bed. It was not a huge room but was so clean and comfortable. They do have bigger rooms to choose from. The room had a very comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, bathtub/shower. It included a fantastic buffet breakfast which included pastries, eggs, bacon, toast/bagel stations, tea, coffee, expresso all kinds of juices etc. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They also speak English very well. This hotel is within walking distance to the main train station Termini. We used the Leonardo Express from the airport to the Termini Station and then walked 200 yards to this hotel. We then used the Termini station to go on the Metro (subway) and the Hop on Hop off bus was across the street from this hotel. We felt safe in this area. You do need to watch for pick pocketers in any big city. I look forward to returning to this hotel for a longer stay the next time.

"The hotel cancelled the reservation for no official reason without adequate warning, in violation of Booking rules"
Y4257PJ_, 16 Septembre 2022

Briefly: Booked a hotel specifically for the system «Payment in cash on the spot without confirmation». Got an official confirmation, which the Visa Center even took into account. At 2 am (!) (on the day when we had to check in) we got a message that it was necessary to update credit card data. Although the conditions of it was not a word. WE TOOK A SPECIAL PAYMENT ON THE SPOT WITHOUT CONFIRMATION. They started the countdown for 14(!!) hours. Obviously, I was asleep at 2 am, lol. The next email was at 11am with a 5 hours countdown At that time, I was on a train in a foreign country with no internet access, going to a hotel that had already confirmed the reservation! At 4pm the reservation was cancelled: no calls, no sms - no other notification other than the mail. At 4:30 pm I went to the hotel from the train, and I found out that according to their paperwork, they cancelled the reservation at 2 pm altogether. First, I expected a more appropriate attitude, warnings, and resolution from Best Western. Second, the staff was rude. They also offered a "replacement" hotel 30 minutes away on foot for a higher price. Third, this is just a theory, but most likely the reservation was canceled to accommodate a guest who was willing to pay and confirm everything. And I was cancelled under the pretext of a credit card. So, Best Western hotel confirms the reservation, and then day to day employees cancel it under nonexistent conditions, violating the rules of Booking itself («payment on the spot without confirmations») And I want to note that during my trip there were five(!) hotels with the same conditions. And none of them had problems like this one. September 9, 2022 4:30 pm Booking: 2202.828.924 0290

"Best hotel in rome!!!"
DrLiorS, 13 Septembre 2022

We stay at hotel 5 nights. Best location Tasty breakfest And lovely team Thank u very much for Patrizia from dining room Antonelo and iolanda from the reception. We got an upgrade for biger room . Quiet hotel Metro station just 2 min walking!! The best.

"Unsat."
DudleyMc, 12 Septembre 2022

The hotel is in what might be considered an ideal location, across the street from Termini and a block up the street. The staff is courteous and accommodating. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast buffet, which is included in the price of the room. The bathroom attached to our room, which underwent a much nèeded remodeling since our visits several years ago, is terrible. The toilet paper holder is wall mounted exactly behind the right shoulder of anyone using the toilet. Only a contortionist could reach it. We found the best solution was to remove the roll of toilet paper from the holder and position in the bidet. Countertop sink space is a joke. There is no place to hang or fold a towel for the use of the person using the sink. There is a wall mounted soap dispenser near the sink which is awkward to use and tends to dispense soap onto the floor because it's hard to grip it and receive soap. The bathtub and shower are an inconvenience and a safety hazard. The sidewall of the tub is too high, making it difficult to climb in and out of the tub. Two large sheets of glass are suspended from the wall to serve as a splash guard. They are attached to the wall and otherwise unsupported. They offer a tempting grab bar, but swing feely and do not appear to be strong. Speaking of grab bars there are none. The drain is very slow, leaving the bather standing in an inch or two of soapy water. The bottom of the tub has no skid-prevention features in the porcelain, and there is no anti-skid mat available. The combination of these last three ingredients is recipe for disaster. There is no place hang or set down folded a bath towel for the use of the bather.

"Great Stay and close to all the Rome attractions"
Aidan S, 29 Août 2022

Our stay at the Best Western was great. It's a stone's throw from the central train station which made traveling to all the major spots super easy. The Trevi and the Spanish Steps were only a couple of metro stops away. We did take a cab to the Colosseum but we were running late and didn't want to risk missing our tour. The air conditioning is not USA air conditioning, but none of Italy is. The bathroom was spacious, the shower drained perfectly, and the room was clean upon arrival.

"Excellent stay in Rome"
nati932022, 23 Août 2022

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and we got a lovely room with ice cold ac and everything else we needed for our stay. The restaurant delivered everyday with dishes ranging from pasta to steak and they also had a great beer and wine selection. Location amazing with close access to 2 metro stops and the main train station Termini for easy access to the airport when going home. The staff was nothing short of remarkable during the entire stay and they really did exceed our expectations in terms of the level of service and kindness. This would be our first pick as a hotel if we return to Rome!

"Great place close to Roma Termin"
jorgsre, 19 Août 2022

Visited in August with Parent. I needed a placed close to to Roma Termini (Rome Train Station) in order to spend one night coming form Florence on trains in the evening. this was a perfect solution as it's literally 5 mins walking distance form the Roma Termini. It's very modern, clean and comfortable. Has breakfast options and a few blocls around there (via Gaeta) you can find the classic outdoors / sidewalk restaurants with Italian food Pizza's, Pastas, etc. staff was helpful, efficient and cordial. Our room had both bath tub and separate shower. VERY clean and comfy!

"A Room to Relax in"
melindashorts, 06 Août 2022

Modern room with mood lighting to set the tone. An amazing bathtub to soak in. Well supplied bathroom. A comfortable King size bed. Easily accessible hotel from the train station or to catch a bus to tour.

"Great location, clean and friendly service, excellent choice for our stay"
michelleflai, 05 Août 2022

Very close to Rome Termini and yet feel safe when traveling with family, rooms are small but clean, friendly service with restaurant recommendations and plenty of choice in breakfast buffet. We are glad that we choose this hotel for our Rome stay.

"Disrespectful- no respect for basic human rights."
serginimagas, 28 Juillet 2022

Worst service ever, really disrespectful for the minimum citizen rights. A person in a urgency requested an emergency to use the toilet and the Chinese guy in the receptionist just said no in a very disrespectful way without even accepting the person in question to pay to use the bathroom if necessary. On top of that, he was aggressive. If you value to be treated with respect and to be in places where they still care for basic human rights do not come to this hotel.

"Great Service, Location, and Very Clean"
jillmccrie, 22 Juillet 2022

This hotel is perfectly situated for a quick walk to/from the train station, the staff are friendly and helpful, giving breakfast recommendations for early mornings and arranging private cars to the airport 60€ to Fiumicino and he was awesome! The AC works well which is a MUST in July, and everywhere was very clean! The room was cleaned every day and I love that they use the soap dispensers instead of the mini bottles, much more environmentally friendly! The wifi was free and worked well. The mini fridge was handy for extra drinks, but was never very cold. The breakfast buffet was clean and plentiful and probably the best rate you'll find for a big breakfast in Europe. Would definitely stay again!

"An excellent choice for a short stay in Rome"
DrCindy87, 26 Juin 2022

We stayed here for 2 nights after arriving in Rome. It's very close to the Rome Termini so it was great not having to get a taxi but go immediately to the hotel to rest. We had a large bathtub with plenty of hot water, which is always a big plus to me in this world of showers.

"an excellent place to stay in Rome"
pworthen, 20 Juin 2022

The staff, breakfasts, and rooms at the Royal Santini are excellent. The Airport shuttle bus is right across the street, allowing you to wait in your room until the bus has arrived. Very well located in the center of town, within walking distances to all the major attractions

"Great hotel and service, would definitely recommend it."
neilpaterson2022, 05 Juin 2022

Good location close to the main railway station. We have two rooms which were both clean, air conditioned, and had all required facilities. Very helpful and pleasant staff. A good experience and would happily recommend staying there.

"Great Location, Great Restaurant"
35bradt, 22 Mai 2022

I stayed here twice, February 2022 and November 2021. The staff, with one notable exception, was extremely courteous and hospitable. The reception had great suggestions for travel directions for some business I needed to take care of, and the restaurant staff was amazing. Well I told them that I had gluten and lactose intolerances, they knew exactly what to do to provide me with the proper food items at breakfast and at dinner. They were only open for lunch if there also were meetings going on for which the meetings required food service. For me during my both stays, they did have lunch every day, and it was really good. The room was a clean and modern room. The air temperature was fine, but I did not turn on the Tv. My bad experience was with some older representative from an office separate from reception who got a wild idea in their mind as I was walking through the lobby, that I was not a guest! After they rudely tried to get my attention, I stared them in the eyes and said: "What?". At that point Reception made it very clear to that person that I was a guest and had paid- for about a week! Apology not accepted, as we travelers have had to go through quite a bit the last two years!

"Perfection"
Benamard, 19 Avril 2022

Everything about our stay was perfect. I would like to start with the staff. They are a real asset to the hotel, from the reception staff that welcomed us with a quick checkin and helped us with our luggage. Later they provided us with valuable information. The hostess that welcomed us to the breakfast was delightful, and provided us with some history. The kids even got surprises on Easter day. The rooms are big and very clean. Good amount of storage space, large mini bar and safe (big enough to hold a 15” laptop). Location was very convenient as there's a garage right next to the hotel, and many public transport options. Breakfast was ideal for a family. Fresh vegetables, nice collection of cheeses and cured meats. Cereal, jams, yoghurts, baked pastries, fruits, cakes. Eggs (hard or scrambled), pancakes, waffles, basically all you need. Every thing was fresh and if something ran out it was quickly refilled. Thank you for a wonderful Rome experience.

"Great overnight by Rome train station"
Randy5060, 17 Avril 2022

This hotel is right across from the train station. Take the airport bus and it's right there. I left my bag as I was early for check-in. Staff is very nice and attentive. The room is lovely. Definitely enjoyed it and would stay again Future trips

"Nice rooms but the restaurant…"
TheAdvisorToFollow, 30 Mars 2022

Nice hotel with nice rooms. Friendly staff and very helpful. Room is very particular with coloured lights and big shower. The only thing is the restaurant: nothing exceptional, fish not fresh and mussels green and not cleaned very well. The breakfast is very very good and it is very rich of sweet and salty food. For hotel I give 4 points, but for restaurant I give 3 points.

"Great Location not great food"
emmakjones1969, 29 Mars 2022

Hotel room was lovely. Clean and a good size. The breakfast was cold everyday. The room service was dreadful. The food didn't come complete and we were charged €15 for someone to bring up the two meals. The other choice was we came down to reception in our Pjs, which the reception staff were quite happy about !!!!!

"Good hotel but no air conditioning!"
PompeyWhite, 09 Mars 2022

Good location and modern rooms but …. No air conditioning, and when the sun hits glass front of the hotel, the room becomes a sauna during the day — not a pleasant respite after taking in the sights. Reception confirmed there is no air conditioning but they could turn off the hearting!! Breakfast good.

"Great stay"
Josiefish, 19 Février 2022

We came 4 years ago and apart from the obvious COVID-19 implementations it's the same lovely hotel! Staff very friendly and pleasant Food for breakfast varied and plentiful Bed sooo comfortable Location is brilliant Could walk to Trevi Fountain If we come to Rome again look out for us Santina!

"A perfect base for Rome"
mfwl, 16 Février 2022

Lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms and all the modern amenities. Mini fridge in the room with changeable LED lighting and a large Screen tv with HDMI inputs. Went for the rugby with Gullivers Sports Travel. The hotel laid on offers and channels embracing the events surrounding the stay. Staff were really polite and helpful. This is just over the road from the Termini railway station east to get to from Fiumicino Airport via the Leonardo express. Lots of restaurants very close.

"Centrally located, great staff and comfortable rooms"
Irenewong23, 03 Janvier 2022

Perfect if you want a centrally located hotel that is modern and has decent facilities. I appreciated being able to walk across the street to the train station and then basically to anywhere else in the city. The staff are incredibly helpful and responsive, and even before I arrived they replied to my queries about bag storage and Covid testing super fast. The room was comfortable and just what I needed - clean, good shower, and comfy bed. It's not a hotel for you if you want to just hang out in the hotel - but if you're wanting to spend the time sightseeing and want to have a restful place to come back to, this is a perfect location. The ladies at desk made me feel very much at home.

"Good Location"
luigipradaguzman, 20 Décembre 2021

Perfect location - near Roma Termini and Mercato Centrale (food); lots of Taxi stand around the hotel Room - decent size and nice bathroom Bed - slightly uncomfortable Nearest COVID testing center: Red Cross (Free)

"Perfect location and great facilities"
Alberto D, 30 Novembre 2021

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The location is superb, 3min. walk from Termini station which connects you to everywhere in Rome and Italy (if you decide to catch a train). There is also an airport shuttle stop (SIT Bus) right in front of the hotel which makes it very convenient if you are arriving/departing by plane. The hotel looks old from the outside but as soon as you step inside you'll notice it has been recently refurbished with very modern designs. The refurbishment extends to the rooms as well. Pretty good sized rooms, clean and modern. Breakfast had a pretty extensive selection of fruits, cold cuts, nuts, eggs, cereals, and many other options (including Gluten Free bread and pastries). Staff was always friendly and welcoming. We will definetely stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

"Clean and convenient"
rwessru73, 23 Octobre 2021

Very convenient to Rome's main train station. We actually stayed at both the start and end of our trip. The hotel was clean and the rooms were actually quite spacious by European standards. We had a minibar and tea kettle so could relax and have breakfast in the room each morning. There are 2 large grocery stores in the terminal plus plenty of pastry shops. We could also easily access the Mercato Centrale for dinner or snacks. All staff were professional and attentive to our needs. While the hotel is not quite in the center of typical tourist attractions they can be quickly and easily reached by nearby metro, bus or convenient taxi stand. It is also easy to reach either of the main airports by busses located directly across the street or the express train in the terminal. We opted for a taxi arranged by the front desk due to our flight time. When visiting Rome in the future I would not hesitate to stay here.

"Good ambience"
CGFernandez, 22 Octobre 2021

Close to the main station enabling to commute to different places of interest easily. Good amenities at the hotel and all around the hotel, comprising of all price ranges. Great reception and generally all staff have been quite friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff need a special mention as they do a brilliant job importantly during the current health situation.

"Hotel ok ... staff poco motivato "
vadopiano, 04 Octobre 2021

This hotel is conveniently located next to the Termini train station in Rome. Rooms are nice and the facilities are ok. Some members of staff seem really demotivated (it is not acceptable that during the rush hours of the check out, in the morning, only one staff out of seven people is managing customers while the others are busy with their phone and PCs). Not saying they are not working but ... there is something wrong! That is not customer service attitude. The restaurant staff are ok until the restaurant is not full ... If the management will be able to motivate the staff better this hotel could be above average.

"Rome layover from Tuscan wedding"
seesacco, 06 Septembre 2021

attitude & helpfulness at reception 100% perfect, conveniently located in front of train terminus (Termini) Taxis when called by reception, came within 30 seconds, was given a receipt by reception with a designated number that is also written on the side of the car so there could be no fighting over whos ride it was.

"Worth the money"
AlchPatrick, 28 Août 2021

Love the express check in & out! Very good breakfast. Very close to Rome termini, just 3minutes walking distance. We stayed on the 6th floor, the room was spacious and clean. But I hope they'll add more amenities like slippers and dental kit.

"Great Customer Service"
Randy5060, 23 Août 2021

I was unable to travel when I had my original reservation in 2020. I was given a credit for one year. I now have an able to extend that credit into 2022 which I will use in April. I appreciate their extending the credit for me. I look forward to staying there in the coming year

"Poor customer service"
Randy5060, 17 Août 2021

I had a prepaid reservation for 9/20 which because of Covid I could not go. I asked for a refund which they said no. They gave me a credit for 1 year. When I asked to extend the credit for seven months they didn't even bother to answer me. I understand they didn't have to but it would've been the right thing to do. They didn't even bother to respond

"The perfect roma hotel"
devriesmartijn, 22 Septembre 2020

Location was spot on. Close to roma termini and walking distance to all the hotspots. Beds were very good. Hotel and rooms were in perfect condition. Staff was super friendly everywhere. Late check out was very Nice. Breakfast was taken and brought on your table. You could ask for everything.

"great location"

"Vacation"
Danilo254, 12 Mars 2020

I made a reservation for this hotel for April of this year. The reservation that I made was a non refundable reservation. I knew this when I made the reservation. I made the reservation because my wife and I were planning in redoing our wedding vows after 25 years. I reserved 3 rooms because I was taking our 4 children and my mother in law who suffers from Alzheimers. She is 90 years old. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, we had to cancel our plans to travel to Italy. When we called Best Western they stated that they would not refund us and possibly look into it. I know what we booked but considering the current situation, I believe that an exception should be made. We as a family have stayed at Best Westerns many times, domestically and abroad in many different countries when we travel. We had every intentions in going to Italy but unfortunately the current events have stopped us. Since my wife works in the travel industry, we travel abroad extensively. Unfortunately we are going to have to choose a different hotel chain and recommend other patrons to do the same. If Best Western is not sympathetic with us, you can expect the same treatment. This Pandemic will end eventually and they will request your business, remember this review before you choose to book your reservation. I guess that quick money is better than loyalty to the brand.

"Great Hotel, Great Location"
GUgbabe, 27 Janvier 2020

My second stay here and my second and I'm even more satisfied than the last time. I noticed a few layout changes at the lounge from my last stay in December 2015 especially the free Coffee and Water Station - very welcome. Also, free snacks and sweets at the bar. The design remains coordinated and pleasant. I was impressed with the change to the bathtub which t my first visit was edged with plastic and which tended to give way if you sat and would trap your skin painfully; now replaced with solid granite-like tile and quite comfortable. There's a dedicated smartphone now in every room for dedicated digital services - very nice and unique touch. The TV is also a Smart TV now. I visited with my wife and 3 children. My daughter, 8, was quite taken with this hotel and didn't want to leave! We stayed in 318 and 301 from 12th - 18th January 2020, while it was still quite cold, everywhere was quite warm except the corridors which were quite cold and required cold wear to be comfortable. I still would like to see the reading chair changed to a swivel type and that protruding tap in the bath changed to something less threatening. This is a lovely hotel but quite unassuming from the outside. This will remain my Rome home!

"Good hotel near railways station"
Eugenio C, 07 Janvier 2020

Good hotel near Termini railways station. It has good rates only in low season. Mostly used by groul tourist from asia. The room I had was on 4th floor. It was good but a little bit worn out, especially the bathroom. I needed the wifi to work but the bandwith was ridicolous; I had to use my phone instead.

"Great Location and Staff!"
joanne v, 11 Décembre 2019

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean with abundant amenities, wonderful breakfast.Termini Station is very close which gives you access to metro, train or buses. Walking distance to museums, shopping and restaurants. The staff was great.Very helpful and accommodating.I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and I would definitely stay again.

"Great stay"
hatemET, 10 Décembre 2019

I stayed at the Best western premiere hotel near termini station in Rome, the hotel location was central, the rooms were very convenient and clean the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.

"The worse service"
Milanahcob, 28 Novembre 2019

I have nothing good to say about this hotel other than the location is directly across from rome train terminal. All the staff in the hotel are not friendly and helpful. The worse customer service i've ever encountered. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're desperate.the classic room is so small and can't fit more than 2 big luggages.

"Rome Before Cruise"
yaumanm2018, 21 Novembre 2019

We booked a cruise that sail from Rome. So, we decided to stay in Rome for a few days before embark. We choose this hotel because of the location and reasonable price. What a great choice! Location is excellent, it is right in front of SIT bus station to and from the airport and a very short walk from the train terminal (the port of Rome is one hour train ride from the city). The hotel is also within walking distance from some nice shopping and a couple tourist attractions. Room is clean and reasonable large for Europe standard. All the staffs were wonderful and professional. Breakfast was simple but taste good. The only thing is they did not change the breakfast and we had the same breakfast throughout the five days we stayed there. Anyway, we had a very happy time in Rome and we liked the hotel. Will definitely stay in the hotel again when we re-visit Rome.

"FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS"
taronga57, 19 Novembre 2019

This hotel has the best staff ever! After being warmly welcomed on a dark, stormy night with a beautiful smile from Paola at Check-in who was happy to give us lots of extremely useful information, we instantly had a good feeling about this place. A quick trip to our room confirmed our happiness with the room and its facilities and later experiencing the extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Wonderful staff interaction continued with Giannino at Bar, Tiziana and Valentina at Bar/Dining to Patrizia at Breakfast...again all these fantastic people were professional, with an absolute eagerness to please and great all round customer service. Hotel is fantastically located, a few minutes walk from main train station (where airport express train is just 14 Euro each), as well as airport shuttle and Hop On/Hop Off buses right across the road. Breakfast at 7.50 Euro is also excellent value. We didn't want to leave and I would highly recommend for value and service.

"Excellent Hotel, great location"

Enjoyable stay with very comfortable room, bathroom with shower, bath and lovely towels. Very good breakfast, with wide selection. The ladies in the restaurant were particularly helpful and friendly. Well done.

"Great Hotel in Rome"
Savvy143Wwjd, 13 Novembre 2019

Excellent location. Close proximity to Roma Termini, where you can take the Metro or the buses. Very modern. Very clean. Very nice room amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast and dinner. Kudos to Giannino who went above and beyond

"An excellent Hotel close to Termini and Baths of Diocletian"
Greg s, 02 Novembre 2019

THis is a fine place to stay in Rome. I stayed here in November 2017 and returned October 2019 for four nights - it was a delight to see again so many of the staff that were helpful on my first visit. The service was every bit as good as I experienced before. The rooms were impeccably clean and despite being close to busy roads, remarkably quiet. It is in easy walking distance to Termini Station and the Baths of Diocletian with its associated museum. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Rome next year.

"Lovely stay"
julesd149, 02 Novembre 2019

We stayed at the Royal Santina for three nights at the end of October. We took the Leonardo Express from the airport, which took us straight to the Termini station, and then a very short walk to the hotel which was great. We had a quick check in, only having to wait for a couple of minutes, and were allocated a room on the fourth floor, overlooking an internal courtyard. This suited us fine as there was no street noise at all. Our room was a Deluxe and a very good size, especially for Italy, with a super king bed and sofa, as well as a very spacious bathroom with both bath and shower. The room was very clean. My only gripe was that although the glass bathroom wall looked very nice, it wasn't practical if you got up to use the bathroom in the night, turning on the light and lighting up the whole bedroom. There were a few marks on the walls, a little wear and tear, but nothing unexpected in such a busy city. We had breakfast included in our room rate, however I would have happily paid the €7.50 they charge for the selection on offer. I'm gluten free and on asking they brought be a large plate of packaged bread, cake, biscuits, cereal etc. that I could eat. There was a range of other hot and cold options, all of which were regularly replenished. The only issue was that unless you specifically flagged someone down to ask for the specific coffee to be made, none of the people serving at breakfast actually came to ask. A small thing but it would improve the service. Until the last night of our stay we think we must have been the only people staying in our corner of the hotel as it was very quiet. On our last night we heard quite a bit of noise from the room above and next door, but nothing to out us off potentially staying again in the future. All in all I'd recommend the hotel, particularly if you are planning on using the trains and buses that stop just outside.

"Safe place to stay"
20LoriMac12, 27 Octobre 2019

Arrived at this hotel after a cruise. Stayed for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. The front of the hotel does not show any signs of what there is inside. The room décor is modern, clean, with a large comfy bed & even has 'mood lighting' to enhance your stay. The bathroom is wonderful and even has a bath with a separate shower. Our room (416) overlooked the main street and was a little noisy, especially the idling buses that seemed to have a major stop right over the road. The wifi was not good in our room - unless we sat in the bathroom or right near the room door so this was a bit of a hassle. The breakfast was wonderful and we ate one evening in the restaurant and it was very nice.

"One step ahead of the rest"
Blackdavel, 27 Octobre 2019

Great staff who were very helpful. Comfortable beds, quiet and clean room with shampoo etc supplied. Restaurant was good and breakfast was great. Best yet they have a Samsung Phone in the room you can take with you and use for maps, talking guide and free calls. I'd book a number of nights and use the maps and guide to full advantage. Great location 3 min walk from train station and a bus stop outside. 25 min walk to colosseum. Hint: take a power pack to charge the phone as it did not last the full day. Not sure if it happens every night but the bar had nibbles available in the evening. Very tasty.

"Nice hotel close to the Termii"
A6335ZEjohnp, 24 Octobre 2019

My wife and i stayed for five nights. The hotel is nice. It is clean and the staff friendly . It is quite close to the main train station. They might need new beds. They have a nice restaurant with friendly staff. if you have 10 nights with best Western, you get free breakfast which is worth 15 euros for two.

"Good location and nice bedroom"
AliciaL355, 23 Octobre 2019

Obviously the price is high: 237€ single double room, but the bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. I attach photos. The breakfast is fine, many options. The service is kind. The coliseum 20 minutes walking and the train station 2 minutes Can I repeat? Yes

"Brilliant location with helpful staff"
AussieItchyFeet_13, 15 Octobre 2019

A comfortable hotel offering good value and an unbeatable location right next to Termini and across the street from the airport bus. We are noise sensitive and chose a room on one of the upper floors, which was indeed surprisingly quiet given the central location of the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone planning to take public transport.

"PERFECT LOCATION"
DesertHatLady2, 08 Octobre 2019

I really lucked out with the location of the Royal Santina. only 1/2 block to the train station, the Hop on /Hop off tour bus just outside their front door, and the Airport Shuttle also outside the front door. I have already started to refer this hotel to my business associates and friends.

"Nice Place To Stay In Rome"
kolekona, 06 Octobre 2019

Conveniently located near the Roma Termini train and metro station, as well as decent restaurants. Rome is an expensive city and this hotel is not cheap but I think its quality and amenities make it a fair value for this city.

"Short break in Rome"
Barham-Brown, 28 Septembre 2019

We booked this hotel due to its location near the termini. When we arrived the check in was seamless, we booked 2 rooms, we didn't ask to be next door but we were, which was a nice touch. Both rooms 409 & 410 were a good size 409 a little bigger, both clean and very well equipped. The rooms looked over a courtyard which was great as we did not get any traffic noise and the rooms were not hot from the sun. We had breakfast in the hotel at cost of 7.50 and this was very much like any other breakfast, fresh and plenty of it, I would recommend it. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel as we normally eat on the back from our days out, but we did take advantage of the lovley biscuits that were available on the bar all the time, very nice touch and thank you. The hotel is in a brilliant location about a 5 minute walk from metro and the main bus and train station and from here you are able to get to any part of Rome. We purchased the 48 hours travel tickets from the ticket machine, great value and gives you a reason to experience all the forms of public transport available in Rome. On the other side of the road from the hotel is the airport shuttle bus stop, didn't know when we booked, but were amazed when we got tickets at the airport to the Termini, execting a short walk, but to be dropped at the hotel door was amazing, we also used this service on our return to the airport 6 euros each, each way. I would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Rome, and would book again if we were to return.

"we stayed at the Hotel Royal Santina in Rome"
Michael W, 16 Septembre 2019

This hotel is very convenient to the train station and across the street from the bus to the airport. The hotel staff was very helpful and we caught a sight seeing bus to see the sights in Rome right down the street from our hotel. There are numerous restaurants in the area and we found a small local one that was quite reasonable.

"An Inspired Choice"
Emblpa44, 15 Septembre 2019

A very good well-run smallish chain hotel very conveniently located at an entry point into Rome as it is close to the mainline, Metro and taxis etc. Even walking to the main sights (except the Vatican) were all within a roughly a half hour's walk through interesting streets and piazza's and bear in mind I am a pensioner. If walking is not your bag then the Metro is quick and cheap or take your life in the hands of a taxi driver. From the airport catch the express train into the Termini and on entry to the concourse, turn right and exit the hotel on Via Masala the hang a left, walk 200 metres at the hotel is on your right. The reception was professionally friendly and I was given my room immediately and well before check-in time. The receptionists were always happy to give travel advice. The room itself was a bright clean airy room plenty big enough for a couple. The bed was a very comfortable king sized one with plenty of pillow options. Not a great deal of storage space but enough for a few days stay. Note that the laundry service is quick, cheap and good. The bathing area was well designed but the bath was a little narrow and the in-bath shower head had a mind of its own and wouldn't remain in one position during showering. Requests for a repair did not result in any improvement so it was a case of living with it and using it as a hand held shower. Breakfasts in the airy and bright restaurant were fine being predominately a wide range continental type with a number of dietary options available. Bacon, eggs and has browns plus pancakes was about the limit of cooked food but the other options made them superfluous for me. A number of good restaurants were around the area all within 15 minutes walking or so and hundreds more slightly further afield. Locally I would recommend Passeggero restaurant on Via del Viminale as it hits all the spots and only a ten minute walk from the hotel. The only slight annoyance I had with the hotel and there is nothing that can be done is the two small lifts servicing 8 floors with only one actually reaching the 8th floor. The were busy, slow overall though and often meant it was quicker to walk down eight flights than wait for a lift. Overall though, a very nice hotel that was a perfect base for my few days in Rome and would be my choice again should I return to Rome for another visit.

"Impressive "
BaznTan, 08 Septembre 2019

This place is situated about 2 mins walk to Rome Termini. It also isn't that far to be able to walk to some major attractions or catch a bus for very little cost. The rooms are spacious and clean and the ..staff are very helpful. There is even an iPhone free to use while you're in town. You can make free international and local calls. However we weren't there long enough to try it. There are some good restaurants close by and of course they have one at the hotel. Shuttle buses also run to the airport from just outside the hotel. We had an overnight stay before going to the airport and found this hotel ideal for our needs

"Location, location, location"
cheffie2013, 07 Septembre 2019

Nice hotel that's best attributes are the location so close to the termini, and the staff, especially all the crew at the breakfast shifts. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate and quite enjoyable with speciality coffees included. We had a one bedroom suite that was comfortable with a great bathroom and shower. Biggest let down was the noise. No double glazing, and the street noise is loud. Walls are also paper thin so be prepared to hear everything from the next room.

"Location is the key…"
OfficerIAS, 01 Septembre 2019

The best thing about this hotel is its SUPERB location, just 200 meters away from the Roma Termini station. This means you can go to any place in Italy by train by reaching the station in just five minutes flat. This came in handy when we had to catch our non-stop Frecciabianca service to Civitavecchia port town to board our 14-day Mediterranean cruise. Same applies to any place in Rome that is connected by bus or metro. So, you will find as many as three buses taking you to the fascinating Borghese Gallery. Or, the metro to take you to the Spanish Steps, which we did, as somehow, we had missed visiting both these sites when we were in Rome a year back. In addition, the City Sightseeing Hop-on-Hop-off bus starts right in front of this hotel. Further, the Airport Shuttle Bus too starts (and ends) from the same stop. This is in addition to the Airport Train from the Roma Termini station, which did I say is just 200 meters away. Could you ask for anything more? Coming back to the hotel, we found the reception staff attentive and helpful. All were fluent in speaking English. That helped when we wanted some extra towels or tea or mugs or when we wanted our air-conditioning to run at a lower temperature. Buffet breakfast was impressive, with enough choice for cereals, juices, and croissants. There was no live counter for making eggs-to-order but there were hot items like scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon. Coffee is ordinary but you can ask for an espresso, at no extra charge. We didn't use the hotel's restaurants for dinner, because there were mind-boggling choices within 50 meters of the hotel. There is a good supermarket in Roma Termini from where we bought some fruits, chocolates, and bottled water. We had no complaints about the hotels' beds, linen, towels, and toiletries. The only thing missing was (as compared with the IHG group of hotels of which I'm a Platinum Elite member) was the complimentary supply of a bottle of water per head. We also didn't like the wi-fi arrangements which was a little slow for our liking. All in all, this is a decent hotel with all modern amenities which just soars above all other chain hotels because of its superb location.

"Fantastic hotel! Amazing location!"
0207traveler, 31 Août 2019

What a gem of a hotel. The location of this hotel is fantastic! Just a short distance from the train station, which is great if you want to take day trips to Naples, or Amalfi coast. There are a number of restaurants and coffee shops close by. Not to mention that the there are public buses steps away that services most of Rome within 20 minutes. The staff are fantastic! The SIT bus stops right across the street from the hotel and will take you directly to either of Rome's airport for 6 euros per person. We loved that there was complimentary water and snacks in the lobby after a long day of walking and touring. The rooms were very clean, modern and well serviced. They provided a complimentary mobile phone for the entire stay, which was great for getting around the city and exploring. We loved our stay at the BW and definitely would stay here again.

"Great hotel"
Steph_louiseWebber, 31 Août 2019

Great hotel to stay in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and modern. The hotel is only around the corner from the train station and the bus stop for the tour bus is just outside. Had breakfast at the hotel which they had loads of options and only cost €7.50 each per day.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Great location steps from Termini train station. Very welcoming. Professional friendly and courteous staff. Paula at reception, Francesca in the restaurant and Stefania from the sales department were greatly contributed in making our stay a very enjoyable one! Until next time Arrivederci Roma

"Excellent stay"
Sam D, 13 Août 2019

Comfortable rooms and excellent service. The location is really awesome where you can access most buses and trains within few meters from the hotel. Providing a complimentary mobile phone was a very nice touch

"Convenient location beside trains, metro and hop on hop off buses, comfortable tidy & clean room"
knockfierna, 09 Août 2019

Welcoming friendly and helpful staff, well done to you all! We stayed two nights pre-cruise and it was a good base to explore from. Beside the main train/bus/metro station but we had a nice quiet room with good aircon which was important as it was hot outside. Taxis outside the door. We used the hop on/off bus to get our bearings (first stop Colosseum) and it was easy to get around. Advise pre-booking skip the queue access to attractions, it worked really well and saved us a lot of time standing around. Simple dining room beside reception, nice breakfast and dinner, really lovely staff including the chef who we met but whose names unfortunately we did not get. Nice touch to have free chilled still/sparkling water available in the foyer when you come in after a lot of walking!

"Pleasant experience"
165_redb, 03 Août 2019

We stayed in this hotel for just one night, but we could appreciate the cleanliness, the nice hospitality and the service of both breakfast and dinner, chef Patrick proved to be really competent with us and took care of us who had desire to try real Italian cuisine, showing not only good cooking but also a nice entertainer with his fluent English. the breakfast was rich and really very professional, the environment is sunny and full of care! When we return to Rome we certainly want to repeat the pleasant experience.

"Rome revisited"
jean h, 03 Août 2019

We stayed at this great hotel for two nights before going on a cruise. It is in a good location, near to metro and bus station and also ok for walking and the drop on and off bus. The hotel is clean and modern. Food is good, we ate there on the first night after travelling, and the meal was very nice. Breakfasts also good and not expensive at 7.5 euros for a good choice at a buffet. The best thing though was that the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. It is 40yrs since we were last in Rome, but we hope to return soon. We would certainly stay here again. Thankyou all.

"Great Hotel in a great location!"
MGiangrande, 30 Juillet 2019

I stayed here with my son and daughter for a long weekend of July 18-21. The hotel is in a great location one block from the Roma Termini train station. Our room was bigger than I expected with 3 beds, the bathroom was big also with a rainfall shower head which is awesome! The room is very modern and has free wifi. I ate at the breakfast buffet twice, once with my kids and once alone. The woman at the buffet named Patrizia was wonderful and delightful with a great personality. All the staff at the lobby front desk were very welcoming and courteous to us and made us feel important. I really recommend staying here if you are thinking of traveling to Rome.

"Location, clean, fast internet & comfort sofabed"
Nenelala, 28 Juillet 2019

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in mid July. Booked a room for 3 person. The sofa bed was comfortable, and big enough for my teenaged son. The room size is big in European standard. Air conditioning just enough, internet was fast, bedding are comfortable, bath room has tub and shower area. However, the shower very easy has water leakage. We need to use carefully to prevent flooding. It's the only downside for this hotel. It is a less than five mins walk to the Termini train station. The stand outside the square area sale the bus tickets, hop on hop off bus, tour for sightseeing and shuttle bus to airport. The airport yellow bus shuttle stop across the street from the hotel. It is recommended for first time Roma traveler if the price is comparable.

"Great Hotel / Great Location / Great Breakfast / Great Staff"
MediterraneanDNA_858, 16 Juillet 2019

We had a family trip to Europe and we stayed at Royal Santina 3 nights and we had two rooms. Our mom needed a handicap room with an easy access to shower, and they were very accommodating. Their front desk staff even offered us their on-site wheelchair during our visit in Rome. The hotel is literally right across the street from the main train station , Termini. We were able to walk there less than 2 mins to take a train to Florence and even the subway to Vatican. Train station entrance is located on the left hand-side of the hotel exit ,and there is also the main bus station located within 5 mins of walk from the right side of the hotel. The other great thing for this hotel was one of the Double-deck city tour bus station is literally in front of the hotel. If it is your first time visiting Rome , this hotel is one of the best options with their budget friendly rate and location. Their breakfast rate is very reasonable with a lot of good options, their staff even offered us Espresso in addition to their freshly brewed coffee. They also offer complimentary treats during the day in the lobby. They have a business center area with computers and their internet is fast. The only down side is , some of their rooms may be a bit too loud due to their location. Highly recommended and we will be back when we return to Rome in the future. ````

"Great hotel/ Great location"
megmeg_31, 04 Juillet 2019

This hotel was right across the street from the train station which made it an excellent location. Staff was friendly, rooms were great. I would stay here again. We never had any problems and the staff answered any of our questions and was very helpful.

"Superb hotel close to Roma Termini station - MUST stay while exploring Rome"
VARSHASIRNANI, 03 Juillet 2019

This hotel would be my first choice for any trip to Rome. Best things about this hotel:- +Great Location! (When in Rome, stay close to Termini station - gives you easy access to Hop on / Hop off City SightSeeing bus, 3 min walking distance to station/metro/bus/tram - both Blue/Red Metro lines connect at Termini station) +Hotel has a lounge area which offers you Water (both Still and Sparkling), Juices, Cakes, Biscuits Daily - Free of cost! This was a blessing for us after a hot & humid/tiring long day! +Comfortable bed / extra bedding/pillows - superb lighting in the room with changing colors (helps with color therapy and promotes sound sleep), superb toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, dental kit, shower cap, shoe sponge and intimate cleanser, soap) - You need not need to worry if you miss out on anything! + Another plus point was the Tea/Coffee/Kettle in-room facility + Hotel also provides you with a "Hello" Phone with free local/international calls, Free internet facility, all tourist information with maps, offers and discounts on attractions - which you can carry around while exploring Rome. + Writing Desk / Fridge + Breakfast option was amazing. It cost us 7.5 EUR per person / per day and it was completely worth the money !! + Huge Flat screen TV which was also very impressing !! +The staff at the hotel were helpful, professional and courteous. Yolanda at the reception made sure we had the best room (with superb aircon - which was one of the requests). She also gave us the room promptly on our arrival and explained to us regarding the wifi, breakfast, and aircon very clearly. She had a service-with-smile attitude which made our stay extremely comfortable. One of the only recommendations/suggestions I would have for this hotel is to have a folding luggage stand that we find at most hotels. It was inconvenient for us to keep our luggage at the ground & ended up hitting our head/feet :(

"Still modern, clean and comfortable"
amonakhovav, 22 Juin 2019

We returned to this hotel for the second stay, since we enjoyed it very much last year. Location is perfect: a couple of minutes from Roma Termini, metro and bus stops. Great soundproofing in rooms, which are modern, comfortable and clean. Nice toiletries, as well as slippers and bathrobes. Comfort rooms are of good size. Personnel is polite and helpful. Sustainable high quality of service. Special thanks to Alessia. She is a real asset for the business and highly professional. The only negative: since last year the breakfast price jumped from 5 to 7.5 euro, with no obvious improvements in food quality or variety.

"location location location"
pamajamaj, 09 Juin 2019

great location first of all, near bus, metro, and tour buses. Room was clean and modern, bathroom had tub and a shower ! the shower could have used some maintenance- water kept coming out of shower area. Overall staff was very friendly and spoke English which was a bonus since we don/t speak Italian !!

"Great location, good hotel, great rate"
yns_10, 02 Juin 2019

Modern, (recently refurbished) clean hotel near the central train station, perfect as our flight arrived late evening and we were heading out by train midday the next day. Pleasant reception staff, quick check-in. The room was spacious and well set out with a writing desk. Good use of bathroom space, shower (in bath) had good pressure and temperature. Tea making facility in the room was nice to have. The buffet breakfast (7.50 Euro) was great both for quality and selection, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries, breads, cakes, eggs etc. The only minor negative during our stay was that wifi failed sometime after 02:00 and was down until we checked out at 11:00, although technicians were working on it. Very reasonably rate in May. Recommend.

"Good hotel"
Culture42181019278, 31 Mai 2019

Excellent location. New hotel. Good breakfast. The room was isolated phonic. Bath had bathtube. Fridge and coffee in the room. Bad coffee at breakfast, no italian. Gym room. Close to the bus metro train open bus station and main turistic points

-Nothing inspiring or awe filled -Breakfast poor selection, only 7.50 eur though -Unsecure bag drop off point, picked mine up with our being shown -No 24 reception. Got in late at 2am and nearly couldn't enter building! Janitor let us in! +Great location, truly was +Helpful staff with requests prior to visit +Was able check in early +Practical and neat gym +Floor we were on was quiet +Big flat screen tv A safe choice

"Great stay in Rome!!"
Fearless3025, 17 Mai 2019

The staff at the hotel was helpful, professional and accommodating. I would like to thank Fabrizio and Antonello for their hospitality!! I would highly recommend it. good location and good value. I had a great time and will be returning.

"Great location and amazing service"
MCH1357, 16 Mai 2019

Fantastic location, really close to the metro and bus station. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing with lots of options. Hotel provided free water, juice, biscuits and nibbles daily. The hotel had a fabulous selection of cocktails all which were mainly presented by the lovely Frederica at the bar who looked after us. The reception staff were also amazing with advising us of the best way to get to the main attractions including informing us of the appropriate bus number or metro line. The hotel also had a mobile phone you could take out which you could use for directions to the main attractions. Would highly recommend.

"New hotel close to train station "
zacc353, 12 Mai 2019

The room is big and new. Bed was deliciously comfortable. It's also very close to the train station which offers plenty of eateries and a Supermarket. The airport bus and Sightseeing Hop-on-Hop-Off bus is also located across the hotel. The best feature is the Eur7. 5 breakfast which is a very good deal. Breakfast offering is wide and decent. They even provide umbrellas for rainy days.

"Location, location, location!"
AmandaM321, 09 Mai 2019

This this 4 star hotel is approximately 3 minutes walk from Roma Central Termini. Associated with Best Western, it is definitely a couple notches above your average BW. A modern, minimalist design with newly renovated lobby and rooms made for a comfortable stay. We had a junior suite on top floor and were given a HUGE balcony with table and chairs. We had 2 sets of balcony doors (1 from bedroom, 1 from sitting room.) Large bathroom with soaking tun and separated glass shower. Tons of top-quality toiletries were on offer daily with nice fluffy towels. Housekeeping was thorough and daily. A/C is switched on seasonally——I think that's important to note especially if you're prone getting hot easily. The regular rooms, I don't believe have opening windows and there are no portable fans if the A/C has not been switched on yet for the season. I'm hot natured and would have melted if I didn't have a balcony even in March! (Just a heads up.) Hop on/off bus literally picks up across from the hotel. No problem getting taxis, buses, trains or metro because it's all located right in front of hotel. This includes the Leonardo Xpress train from FCO Rome airport. Hotel staff is a delight. Efficient, professional and courteous. Hotel was very safe. Bit noisy outside but insulated windows were good.

"Great staff and location "
Britt92797, 27 Avril 2019

Very friendly staff, Patriza in particular was exceptional. She goes out off her way to make you feel at home. Hotel is located across the street from main train station as well as the city sightseeing bus. Hotel also features a free phone to use while here, it allows you to make free international calls.

"Pre-cruise hotel"
resmith0755, 24 Avril 2019

Wonderful hotel! The front desk staff were very friendly. We arrived at the hotel around noon and our room was ready. The room was clean and well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Room temperature was a little warm but not bad. The breakfast included was fabulous and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful. We had dinner there one night and that food was good as well. Convenient to transportation and not too far from the main tourist sites. Highly recommend this hotel

"Do not book through best western international. They are incompetent."
mcnmcn2, 18 Avril 2019

originally booked for 6 nights but later called best western to change to 5 nights. However BW international increased the daily rate so that it was the same over all cost as the original 6 nights. The hotel said talk to BW . WE did but they refused to do anything. We never had this problem with Hilton or Marriott.. So beware and book direct.

"Really nice hotel very conveniently located"
Wanderlust1954, 17 Avril 2019

I was totally surprised at the quality of the hotel. The room was larger than many European hotels, well appointed and modern. Very conveniently located in central Rome. No more than 1.5 mile walk to everything. And because it is close to Termini Roma, getting an Uber was easy. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

"Great hotel, well situated in Rome!"
Excursion22661950047, 16 Avril 2019

Nicely styled hotel near the Termini central train station and Metro line. Very modern and comfortable room and bathroom. The Front Desk and Restaurant Staffs were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

"Great hotel experience"
TimLankin, 15 Avril 2019

Stayed for 2 night post cruise for the purpose of seeing the Roman sites. Loved the hotel. Great location and very easy to get anywhere quickly by foot, cab or metro. The room was spotless and the bathroom had higher end amenities. Towels were large and very soft. Water pressure was excellent. The TV had many channels and had at least 3 in English but we watched very little TV. Had the breakfast and it was excellent. This hotel would be my first choice for any trip to Rome.

"Rooms are tiny.....bath Room is difficult for older people to get in and out."
maijr1119, 06 Avril 2019

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Rome. The location was very convenient and the staff was very nice. However, the room was very tiny. Both of us had to move to get the other person to the bath. The bathroom had a very deep tub, but it was not easy to get in and out of. The shower door was a waste, it did not keep the water in the tub, but made a mess on the floor. The tub was very slippery as well as the floor. We did eat at the restaurant for dinner which was good but nothing special. I cannot recommend this hotel for the reasons I outlined above.

"Very good stay in Rome"
Handrich2014, 18 Mars 2019

On my first trip to Rome I wanted to stay close to the train Station so I booked this hotel just outside Roma Termini. The reception works efficiently but could be more friendly welcoming as the other staff surely is. One can feel that this hotel is privately owned as it is refreshingly different from chain branding. The owner´s invested in special ligthing which one can change in the room - all is of good Standard and one feels well. There is even a smart phone with tourist guide apps in the room to be freely used during the stay. The breakfast is good as well.

"Good location and nice hotel "
halz-567, 06 Mars 2019

The hotel is definitely worth the price. The rooms were a bit on the small side however given that we were on a city break we didn't really spend much time in the room. The air con was not working in the room and at times it would get very very warm. I am aware from other guests that their air con was also not working. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and look to meet your needs where possible. Room is cleaned everyday and we would always return to a tidy room. We had breakfast one morning. Charged at around €7.50 per person. Personally I don't think the breakfast had much to offer. Other than that the hotel is in an excellent location right by Termini station and all the main sites are around 15/20 minutes walk away and around 2 stops on the metro from termini. There are plenty food options around Termini including fast food and lovely dining restaurants. I would stay at this hotel again.

"Great convenient hotel"
Bev D, 12 Février 2019

The hotel's proximity to the Termini ensures that all areas of Rome are accessible. Beds are comfy, rooms are not large but we only slept there. Bathroom adequate. Breakfast was ok and only €7.50 pp. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

"Nothing fancy"
DiningStar, 10 Février 2019

A basic hotel that caters to the many tourists arriving in Rome each day at the Station Termini across the street. The rooms are well equipped, sound proof with a decent size bathroom. Breakfast is an extra charge of Euro 15 pp which explains why it's never crowded. The breakfast food is traditional International with a slight nod to the hotel's many Asian guests. You won't go hungry.

"Still an all-round good choice"
sjs13579, 03 Février 2019

My first review of the BW Royal Santina was five years ago, and since then I have stayed here every year when I return to Roma. As with all establishments there are likely to be mixed reviews from people with varied expectations and experiences of the place but I wanted to do this second review five years on, to confirm that standards remain consistent. I had read some recent reviews about uncomfortable beds and didn't understand it because the beds had been one of my biggest areas of praise in my first review. As it happened, during this visit, I had a very late check-in and was assigned a room where the bed was indeed awfully soft. The usually excellent memory foam mattress had been overused and now offered no support and I didn't get a wink of sleep that night. One thing I noticed from the management replies to some negative reviews here was to contact reception to resolve any issues. So I did this early the next morning, and it is true ... they will indeed do everything in their power to make sure you have an excellent stay. Paola, who I remember from my first visit remains exceptionally kind and helpful. She made sure I got a room with a bed that was suitable without any fuss, and with nothing but concern for my bad night's rest. I must say that, if you do encounter anything that makes your stay unsatisfactory, then do speak up to the receptionists. They really are there to make sure that standards are maintained at the highest possible level. Sharing frustrations with them will also, I hope, help to alert them to when facilities are in a poor state. And hopefully the management will act to repair or replace things like the failing mattress in first room I stayed in this trip. The Royal Santina remain for me my first choice when staying in Rome. The convenience of its location, the standard of the rooms, and the level of service is good and definitely represents value for money.

"In front of the train station"
nata0312, 30 Janvier 2019

Every time I go to Rome for business i stay at this hotel. The rooms are small, but modern. The staff is very helpful and cheerful! There are plenty of restaurants around. Good and complete breakfast.

"Great Experience and Great Location"
Greg R, 12 Janvier 2019

The person at the desk that checked us in was fantastic - very helpful and courteous (sorry I do not recall her name). A bus load of people were dropped off at the hotel so it was a little crazy busy for a short time. We arrived with our bags (we had just completed a cruise) prior to check-in...no problem - the hotel placed our bags in a holding room until it was time to check-in...So we could take the train to meet up with our tour. We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel location was perfect for taking the train system! - only a couple of blocks from the train station. You can take the train to the Colosseum which was pefect for meeting our tour group.

"First visit in Rome and Extremely satisfied with this Hotel."
305YOLO, 07 Janvier 2019

I have to say that this hotel was beyond our expectations in all kinds of ways. I emailed them months before my arrival and they replied to me in regards to some concerns very quickly. The moment we arrived to the hotel we were greeted very professionally and courteous. We were promptly checked in and with our room ready. We stayed here from January 1st to January 4th. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The bathroom was supplied with toiletries everyday as needed. Room was nicely made everyday. The breakfast was excellent with enough varieties, it also met my expectations. The bar was also great. The staff at bar was very attentive and they also provided some snacks for free with our drinks. The drinks were reasonable prices also. We were extremely satisfied with all the staff. When we needed their assistance they were there to assist us either to give us suggestions or anything needed within the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel when staying in Rome. They also provide Wi-Fi services and it works very well. Checkout was also prompt. I'm very Thankful to all the staff from this hotel as they assisted me when I left the hotel. One of my son left his high school ring in the bathroom and they quickly went to our room to find it. Thanks to the honest staff we were able to find it. They also offered to assist to mail it to us. They staff has been very cooperative with us in the process of sending it to us. They have been working with us through emails and telephone to make it get back home. They made our day when they told us that the ring was found and that they will send it to us. We are very fortunate to have stayed at this hotel. We have no complaints whatsoever. It is very safe to stay here. The hotel is with 5 minutes from the train station. It also has a pharmacy next to the train station. There is also a supermarket right inside the train station. The food at the train station is very good and they have lots of places to pick from. Give them a try and you will save money eating there. Just be alert of your surroundings and keep your wallets and purses in from of you. We had no issues from pick pockets. Also right before you get to the train station by the sidewalk you will also find the taxis standing. These taxis have the cheapest rate. We learned that every taxi has different rates depending where you find them. So don't be alarmed if they all give you different rates it all depends where you find them. But the ones by hotel if you need one by there the ones by the train station are the cheapest. Be careful with the taxis make sure to ask if their meters are working. See for yourself if is working and turned on. We got a taxi from off the street and he did not have no meter. When we asked him he started smiling and he had a flat rate from a very short distance he charged us $15 euros. The ride would have been $10. Some taxi drivers have their meters covered by the sunglasses case. Overall this review is for the hotel service and staff but wanted to give you all some tips about the surroundings. I would give this hotel more than 5. Thank you all at this hotel from making us feel safe and at home. We will definitely recommend this hotel and if we return we will for sure stay here again.

"Exceptional Roma experience"
the_kakkasserys, 11 Décembre 2018

1. Staff - Very friendly, helpful in providing information, we appreciate the hospitality of Ms Patrizia and her restaurant team, 2. Location - less than 100 meters to Roma Termini, metro, bus station, you can reach all top attraction within 10 minutes, 3. Comfortable / Cleanliness / Value for money - Super Good 4. Will come again and recommend to others 5. Breakfast area was good and very healthy breakfast options provided at minimal cost. 6. Wifi was bit slow but there was a 4G mobile device that can be used for free

"Stylish and convenient"
901PaulL, 11 Décembre 2018

Clean, quiet and well-located near the main railway station, the futuristic furniture includes lighting you can select among 4 colors. Wifi is free and we had a sumptuous buffet breakfast included. Hop-on hop-off stop is across the street as is a taxi stand. The only downside was that smokers congregated outside the main entrance allowing smoke into the lobby every time someone entered or exited the hotel.

"Absolutely no four-star hotel"
Kaju12345, 02 Décembre 2018

We chose this hotel for our trip because of the good rankings from other visitors, but we were really disappointed. The hotel is located just outside Termini, which comes in handy if you travel by bus or metro. The check-in covered all necessary information but the man didn't seem to be very happy to welcome new guests and was not friendly. The way I know it, receptionists usually welcome you to the city or ask you how your trip was, give a smile etc. That's no big thing, but no good first impression. Our room was very small, but ok if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing and only stay there for the night. You can even open a window to get some fresh air. Sadly we had to realize that the furniture and the lamps were quite dirty and covered with dust and stains. Even the wall had some flaws at a few places. The ceiling in the shower was covered with remains of a water damage. In the shower and the sink we found a lot of limescale and rust. Overall, the arrangement in the bathroom was awkward (toilet paper holder located in the back, no hooks for towels). Also the furniture in the Lobby was totally worn out. The rooms a very bad soundproof. At night you could hear other guests using the toilet, showering, using the sink, closing the doors. So you wake up every now and then. The breakfast is only 5€ p. person/day, which is very convenient. The lady in the breakfast room (Patricia) was very kind and friendly. The food didn't taste that good (e.g. instant juice from concentrate), but that is a thing I can accept, knowing that I pay that less. But 4 out of 5 cups were dirty inside (big brown coffee stains) and every second spoon or knife is clearly dirty is nothing I want to see in a hotel with four-stars, no matter what the price for the breakfast is. And we found these dirty dishes on every morning of our stay, not just once. So clearly no “one-time thing”. Check-out the same: only the formal was done. No questions about our stay, no wishes for a good journey back home. Summed up, we wouldn't stay here another time: location is a plus, but that's it. The room is rather unpleasant.

"Well situated Hotel in Rome"
Bev1NewZealand, 21 Novembre 2018

Although bedrooms good size, clean & well kept Thought the recepton could be a bit more welcoming. The Hop on Hop off bus depot it across the road & very convenient. Also the Train Termini is 2mins walk excellent kocation. This hotel Breakfast is good value for the price Sometimes needs refilling as when a bus load of people come down ffor breakfast at same time food seems to take forever to be replenished. The free welcome drink apparently is by coupon if the receptionist gives it to you on arrival! The free meal as part of the cost of staying here, it terrible, the pasta spagetti bol. Dry no sauce. Or The fish alternative tasteless. Rather pay for a meal or a discount one, than to get what we did. You only get what one pays for!!The meal did finish off with a nice sliced fruit plate. This Hotel is very well situated for people going on cruises.

"Conveniently located, modern-style Hotel"
dianaa190, 12 Novembre 2018

Really nicely styled hotel near the train station and Metro line. Hop on-Hop of bus stop right accross the street. We stayed in a junior suite on the 7th floor and really enjoyed our stay in one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in Rome. Staff was welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was great (5€ a person for coffee, juices, breads, eggs and meats). I loved the view from our hotel room and the changing lights under the bed was a nice little treat. We would definitely stay there again.

"going on a cruise"
rodcourt, 06 Novembre 2018

had 2 days to look around before the cruise the hotel was in a perfect location to either walk around or take the ho/ho pick up spot on the other side of the street restaurant all around all kinds of shops and interesting places to view and take pictures

"Great location"
Kim T, 05 Novembre 2018

What a treat. Staff very helpful and we were able to get early check-in. the hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing. Close to Termini hub, Metro, Hop On/Hop Off stop directly across from hotel. Within walking distance of a number of sights. Room had everything you needed, and if not, reception was very helpful with requests. Room also comes with a Manet phone system. Wonderful idea. We would go back. |The breakfast on site was good and staff very friendly and helpful.

"Great place to lay your head "
Catherine B, 04 Novembre 2018

We stayed here as a family of three and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently situated with Termini hub across the road, so it's 5 mins walk from your airport coach stop (we used Terravision) which made arriving/departing very easy. The metro is there too which made getting to the major sights very easy. It's around 30 min walk to the centre of Rome but we took the Metro a couple of times to save our legs for the day ahead. Service at reception and at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless and very modern - we loved the colour changing lights and the main bed was super-king size and very comfy. The bathroom was modern too with a great shower. There are plenty of hangers in the wardrobe as well as a safe. There is a hairdryer, robes and slippers. Breakfast was good with a wide selection and at €5 for all you can eat it's good value. There are lots of good restaurants in the area that are more reasonable in price than in the centre of Rome. Overall the hotel had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again.

"Excellent location - great for walking to main sites or Metro."
Ron B, 03 Novembre 2018

Room was spotless, well equipped (liked the Manet ) and had all the usual nice touches. Metro / Termini Station across the road as is Hop On-Off bus. Must be the best value for money bar in Rome and the breakfast at €5 is wonderful as a setup for the walking ahead. Would especially like to mention Patrizia who ran the breakfast operation in such a friendly and efficient way - must be in line for a promotion.

"Lovely Hotel"
Trek22518341218, 02 Novembre 2018

Great location for a great hotel. The buffet breakfast is very well presented. Receptionists are helpful and friendly. Rooms contain a bath, shower, bidet, toilet and fridge. Manet phone system is a nice touch.

"Great hotel!"
AlicanteGirl2, 30 Octobre 2018

Stayed here for 3 nights last weekend, really good value! Clean, modem rooms, really friendly and helpful front desk staff and also at breakfast. Gor a free upgrade to the 7th floor which meant we had a balcony and great views! Close to the Termini and easy walking distance to the centre of Rome. Breakfast at 5 Euros is excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend hotel for short break!

"Friendly Front Desk & Restaurant Staffs"
Ria900, 24 Octobre 2018

We stayed here for 3 nights and we asked for a triple room. Room is ok for 2 people but a bit cramped for 3 people. Best part from our room was the sizable clean toilet with lots of amenities. The Front Desk and Restaurant Staffs were all friendly and very helpful. We tried brekafast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant at the Lobby and the food were good. Overall, it was an ok stay for us though some of the things can be improved further, ie the bed quality, room size.

"Stop over"
patrick H, 23 Octobre 2018

Very happy with my short stay here and would recommend this hotel Nice clean and modem rooms Near to the train station and the centre of Rome ,staff very friendly the food was ok and was value for money. Would return here again.

"A very pleasant stay"
THS2010, 13 Octobre 2018

Normally the first thought of a chain hotel near a European train station wouldn't be good, but this BW is very well done. Staff were all friendly, from the effort to make an early check-in to the very nice restaurant hostess. While the room was small, everything worked, including the AC, the linens etc. were all good, and it was very clean and modern. You can't beat the location of a two minute walk from Rome Termini (and its Metro stop). Best Westerns in Europe continue to impress me, on the whole better than their North American counterparts. This one is a good brand ambassador.

"BEWARE of the ITALIAN GUY AT THE FRONT DESK who is a Magician with money"
Aida L, 08 Octobre 2018

We stayed in this hotel Sept 10-13,2018. Everything in this hotel is almost perfect...cleanliness..food...location..room BUT what ruined their image and good reputation is this Italian Guy at the front desk. My sister in law had her $ changed into € but this crazy guy inserted one P100 (Philippine peso ) bill instead of €100 to the change he gave my sister in law.She was very trusting and did not count the bills infront of the Italian guy but when she reached her room she was so shocked to see the P100 Philippine peso included in the bills she received. She hurriedly went to the guy and complained but he just denied. We are wondering if he has a conivance with that Filipuno guy who assisted us with our luggages when we checked in.He is the only one who can have pesos because he is fr the Philippines. My sister in law is from California and has no pesos !!! Whats that magic all about???? I call the attention of the managers and officers of this hotel to call the attention of these 2 guys....They ruined our trust in your hotel and we will never come back anymore and will tell our friends about this sad story.

"Very convenient"
Robert C, 06 Octobre 2018

Hotel is just 2 minutes to Roma Termini. Very convenient. The room was large and clean with nice decoration. Breakfast is only US$5 per person, great value. Wifi is slow. The area is definitely better than the South side of Termini.

"Great bed ! Good staff! "
Stephen U, 06 Octobre 2018

A good stay with an excellent value for money breakfast, great bed , sheets and air con , very good reception staff , and great welcome to the restaurant ! It's expensive ! But no ignominious stay here ! It's worth it for a great sleep! Only down side very slow internet ( not related to outages ,which are understandable )it advertising say very fast ??? It's very very slow ! Like the lightning , phone , mini bar . Fab giant tv ! Good shower and amenities, very pleased linen changed nightly if required! It's a good vibe here with a good team !

"Great service and location "
Charles_Phua, 05 Octobre 2018

Hotel is super near to the Roma Termini train/ metro station. Basically just opposite towards the left coming out from the station (3-5 mins walk). It is also on the same stretch of road, mainly to the other end (turn left and Walk all the way down - 6-8 mins) whereby one can take a shuttle bus to the factory outlet (Castel Romano). The hotel has a restaurant (where breakfast is served) and fitness centre. Room is pretty decent with nice deco.

"Convenient but nothing special"
Kelsea S, 04 Octobre 2018

We stayed here for one night before leaving Italy after a long holiday. It is super close to Termini station, which made transportation super easy. Front desk staff could be friendlier and the bathroom could've been cleaner. The view from our room was beautiful and it was a large room for European standards. After staying in luxury boutique accommodations the rest of our trip, this place was definitely disappointing but did the job.

"Very friendly and accommodative "
77Jry, 04 Octobre 2018

This is our first time staying at a Best western hotel so we do not know what to expect. To our pleasant surprise, the staff were all very courteous and sincere and they really make you feel welcome and comfortable. It's so much better than our previous stay at other more prestigious establishment. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful one and making our room restful every night!

"Short break"
777guest23, 03 Octobre 2018

Got a private transfer from airport to hotel which took approx 1 hour in Friday night traffic. Hotel situated opposite train and bus terminals. Red hop on hop off bus stop across the road. Clean bright modern hotel with very helpful reception desk staff. Room reasonable size with a huge comfortable bed. Complimentary smart phone in room for free calls to uk, guide map and local information etc. Restaurant did nice continental breakfast for 5 euros very good value! Would recommend a stay here to others.

"WiFi & A/C Issues"
Andy V, 30 Septembre 2018

The hotel is close to the Termini Train Station, which is a great plus. The staff was also friendly and helpful. However, the WiFi is nearly nonexistent dropping in and out to the point it doesn't register on your phone or tablet. The A/C in the room will only work when inside the room with your key, so if the sun is beating on your windows, don't plan to ever have a cool room. The shower was tiny and hard to get in and out of. It also flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it.

"Will stay here again"
GolferMosselBay, 20 Septembre 2018

Room with all the essentials. Bath and shower. Coffee makings facilities. Comfortable bed. Next to train station, so easy to reach all parts of Rome. Loved the smart phone. Basic, affordable breakfast.

"What a surprise!"
IMB95, 18 Septembre 2018

We stayed here because our cruise line (Cunard) recommended it and having had experience with this chain in the US we were not expecting much-we were wrong- the hotel is centrally located across from the main train station; our room very large and modern as was the bath (we were upgraded to a junior suite) and best of all they provided a cell phone for free local and international calls that also included walking tours and audio guides to all the main attractions. It is within a longish walk to the coliseum up Via Cavour and across the street to the metro and the railroad so getting around was easy.

"Great Staff, Great Rooms, Great Location"
DIVESD, 17 Septembre 2018

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina during a recent stay in Rome. We booked through Princess Cruises as part of our cruise package. We were very pleased when we arrived late morning and our room was ready. It is centrally located and near Termini Station. Walk to the nearby Diocletian Bath Museum for a very relaxed and uncrowded experience. Our room was very modern and beautiful. I particularly liked the lights around the refrigerator and closet. You can even choose your own color. We really appreciated the free WIFI and there was even a phone in the room for free calling but we didn't use that. We had contacted the hotel before arrival about scheduling a tour to the Vatican. They replied promptly and made reservations for us. The front desk staff especially Iolanda was very helpful. We had asked her where to meet our tour and when they didn't arrive exactly on time, she noticed and called to verify. She always greeted us and asked about our day. An excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices was included with our room. Water was available and sometimes snacks at the bar which we really appreciated after a long day of touring. However sometimes it was not restocked in a timely fashion. One evening we were going to have a drink at the bar but no one was around. The next evening there was a young lady who was also the waitress for the restaurant. We waited 10-15 minutes for the drinks we had ordered. We really enjoyed our stay in Rome and at the Royal Santina and hope to return someday.

"I was so dissapointed"
OnAir812017, 16 Septembre 2018

At first, they didn't ask me if I want non smoking room or not. They gave me smoking room without any question. I had to change it. Secondly, they didn't clean the bathroom completely. There was some water which looks like being used before, and too much stain on bath tub. They even had not cleaned the trash can in the bathroom, so some used papers were remined. I just stayed 1 night and I've already changed the room once, so I didn't ask them to change. Instead, I complained it when I checked out. But, just they said sorry. That was the only thing. Third, I asked them to make a wake up call and they said "ok". However, they didn't do that at all. I asked what happened but they told me that they originally don't do that. I was the person who had used that hotel and been satisfied with facilities and accessibility, but now I'm so dissapointed with their service.

"Fabulous Hotel 5 stars for me"
Kalmak3, 11 Septembre 2018

The staff were fabulous on reception. The room was immaculate and had a large TV. You got free wifi and a phone with all the attractions in built so you didn't get lost. Very central to the train station and the hop on hop off tour is right outside. We loved this hotel. Breakfast was only 5 euro which was a bargain and did the trick. Great value will definitely come again one of the nicest experiences we have had in a longtime plus Rome is fabulous.Great hotel cannot fault it at all.

"Good hotel in a great location"
Mikey1959, 08 Septembre 2018

We chose this hotel for our stay in Rome before heading down to Civitivecchia before our cruise because of the location. It is next door to the Roma Termini. You easily get on the train to get or go to all your destinations, including the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful if you needed information. We had a double room and it had plenty of space with a big bath and a separate shower. Not sure about the space in the standard room. The bed was comfortable but consisted of two twin mattresses put together which tended to sink in the middle. Now, we walked to all of the popular attractions, including the Vatican but if you are not into walking or just can't, the metro station is right by the Termini. "The Hop On Hop Off " stop is also just across the street from the hotel if you prefer. There are a lot a restaurants in the area and we found the food excellent. The breakfast was included with our room and we found it to be limited but good. Lots of fresh fruits included. If the breakfast is not included, they charge 5 euros for it. Expect to pay a 6 euros city tax per person per night when you check out. This goes for all hotels in Rome. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends and are in fact booked there again for when we return from our cruise.

"Good Hotel, July Visit"
Saud-NMC, 31 Août 2018

Great Location,5 minutes walk with luggage from Roma Termini, plenty of places to eat nearby, good connectivity to all tourist spots by public transport. Hotel itself is decent, good size rooms, air conditioning was alright, buffet breakfast was great value for €5 per person. Best bit was the complimentary mobile phone provided by the hotel complete with local calls, data snd tourist spots built in.

"Nice gem in the middle of Rome."
Joaquin A, 21 Août 2018

We were pretty worried when we got off the train station due to the area being a bit on the dirty side. We came to the inside of the hotel and we were amazed at the atmosphere and the attention from the staff. We were greeted by Auroa and she made our check in so pleasant and she helped us with some recommendations. The room was so much more than we expected. The size was perfect and clean. The location turned out to be very nice. One street from Station Terminni, Airport shuttle and tour busses across the street, metro and local busses. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. We were very happy with our stay.

"Great pre-cruise hotel, highly recommended."
JEA_Portland, 20 Août 2018

Hotel got us into our high tech room immediately on arrival. Really appreciate that after 13 hours of flying. Great central location downtown. Got up at 6:00 AM for an early morning walk to historic sites.

"Great location and service"
jayr1325, 15 Août 2018

This hotel is very close to the Rome Termini - central train station. The service from the personnel is very efficient; they are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is good as well. The only negatives would be (i) the size of the room, (ii) the layout of the bathroom, specifically the lack of counter space in the bathroom and (iii) the design of the bed - easy to hurt a foot or toe/s on the corner-edge of the bed. Overall, highly recommended for a stay in Rome.

"good hotel with great location near the central terminal."
Jcarroll852, 13 Août 2018

good updated hotel. close to the central merto station. love using the free smart phone provided by the hotel. this really helped a lot. the only downside is the shower we had in our room. how it was set up i had as much water on the floor as i did in the shower.

"Great find for a decent price"
DGMNYC, 11 Août 2018

This hotel is small but great location near Termini train station (1 block) with easy access to subway/metro and trains to airport and region, etc. The room was small but to be expected. It was very modern with excellent air conditioning (it was 35 C) and very comfortable bed. I slept well. The breakfast was great for an additional 5 euro. The staff very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

"Great location , Great value and great people ! "
biggestjohn22, 11 Août 2018

I didn't know what to expect . Needed somewhere on the direct train line to Rome as we were leaning for cruise the following day . This turned out to be a great choice . Hotel minutes walk from Ariane Termini Station ( turn right as you come out ). Staff very efficient and friendly . Rooms impeccably clean . Beds very comfortable . Even a nice balcony ( 7 th floor ) overlooking parts of Rome . Breakfast @ €5 is acceptable . A great find !

"Excellent location"
Psuedocode, 09 Août 2018

The location of this hotel was excellent for using the train system. Less than 2 minute walk to the train station. Taxi drivers are very familiar with the hotel so that was also helpful. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The room is nice and comfy. A/C works well, mini bar is stocked nicely and the mood lighting was fun to use. The breakfast is well priced but not as good as it could be however it's more of a European style. Staff was helpful and friendly. ATM on site. I would gladly stay there again.

"Great Stay"
Claudia R, 07 Août 2018

We were pleasantly surprised with the room and hotel. The room was clean with comfortable beds and adequate space. The style was more on the modern side. Staff was helpful and very hospitable. Inches from the train station. Will definitely recommend.

"Great Staff"
Andrew J, 06 Août 2018

Let me start by saying our luggage didn't make it to Rome from Paris, the staff at Royal Santina were super helpful, they called the airline and spoke to them in Italian, they also directed us to where to pick up odds and ins. The restaurant was nice. The room was pretty interesting with the changing mood lighting. But the thing that came in handy the most was the Manet cell phone system. If you are staying here don't pay for a shuttle or taxi just take the express train, the train terminal is just down the block from the hotel. And the hop on hop off bus station is directly in front of the hotel as well.

"Terrible experience"
Klara M, 04 Août 2018

Very bad service that derived by the staff at the reception that have rude people, that forget they work and have not correct behaviour with client. I was at this hotel several time, in first time it was good, but with the time, this hotel is transform in a bad place. The client card is fake. The last time it was during 31june-3august 2018, the rooms 409 smells not good. With difficulties the reception man give me another room 603 with the same problem. The carpet of rooms smells bad. The responsible of the service don't exist, because during this period it was a black out, and the water is unclean, and nobody give information for the unclean water..or support for the situation. My name is Klara Mergo from Albania.

"Great hotel and central location to transportation hub. Restaurant is surprsingly good, too!"
mnlgoodin, 28 Juillet 2018

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. My parents who are in there 80's joined us as well. My mom is legally blind and has some mobility issues and the staff were tremendously helpful and attentive to her and my dad which we really appreciated. It is right down the street from the Rail Termini which is great if you are traveling to other destinations. Easy walk from hotel to train even with luggage. Plenty of restos, cafes and bistros in the neighborhood. But, the restaurant in the hotel is SURPRISINGLY good! I definitely recommend their veal entree and the pasta is cooked to al dente perfection as well. We were pleasantly surprised. Equally surprising were the proper cocktails shaken and stirred at the bar in the hotel. But we skipped the breakfast buffet and opted for croissants and espresso from the bakery cafe on the corner because it was all just so fresh and yummy at that place. Really enjoyed our stay here, though, and will stay again and do recommend highly.

"Great location"
Stubbies35, 25 Juillet 2018

Stayed here for 1 night each side of a cruise. Have stayed a few times here, it is central to the termini so nice and close to everything. First room was out the back and not overly great, very small and bathroom wasn't very well appointed. Second room was a whole lot better, bigger and brighter over looking the road. Good wifi, and breakfast was pretty decent. Staff were all helpful and polite. I will be back again.

"Rome comfort"
Amy O, 23 Juillet 2018

Lovely property. Very convenient to Termini (main train station). Staff was very helpful and courteous . Always responded to any request very quickly. Beds were comfortable. Expected the room to be very tight, but 3 of us had plenty of room to move around. Breakfast was affordable, but only partook once (not very pleasing).

"Fantastic hotel"
Vikas G, 20 Juillet 2018

Great place to stay.. fantastic location, great service and excellent room. I cannot sat more - it was significantly better hotel than any other we stayed in our entire stay in Europe. We were thrilled - our son loved it

"Great"
Donna M, 17 Juillet 2018

Great location, great breakfast, lots of handy shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, etc. Train station was close by and the hop on hop off sightseeing bus was handy. If you like to walk, you could easily go to trevi fountain, the spanish steps, the pantheon, etc. Using the smart phone was great as well to access things.

"Worst hotel ever"
az00z95, 17 Juillet 2018

The worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Very bad service and very rude staff. I will never come back to rome because of this hotel. The staff was very rude and they didn't help us with anything. I hope they close this hotel for life.

"Great location and services"
Gloria L, 09 Juillet 2018

Would come back again! Phenomenal location near termini (got here from airport, took the train to all sightseeing locations and dinner, took train to Florence afterwards). Free WiFi , decent exercise room, loved the “Manet” feature- used the hotel cellphone to help navigate the city. Overall clean and friendly!

"Good quality accommodation in excellent location for sightseeing."
Gidz59, 08 Juillet 2018

The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from Termini station where you can catch the metro around Rome or as we did, a fast train to Florence for day trip. The public areas are clean and bright. Room was immaculately clean. Had a mini fridge and tea and coffeee making facilities. Good comfortable bed and pillows and air con seemed to work well and was reasonable quiet, unlike many hotels we've stayed in. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate but was excellent value at €5 per person per day and you didn't need to pre-book just turn up in the morning, give your room number to staff and cost gets added to your final bill. The other great bonus to us was the Manet smartphone. We didn't use the call facility but it was great for using location/mapping, enabling us to find our way round easily and not using our data! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short city break.

"Another pleasant stay"
GingerRose63, 07 Juillet 2018

Stayed here before and decided to return due to closeness of facilities such as the train station and the bus exchange. Reception friendly and welcoming, area clean and well presented. Booked for 2 nights. Stayed in junior suite. Room good sized, double glazing, balcony, blockout curtains. Air con good. Relatively quiet for such a busy area outside. Staff very helpful with queries. Beds very comfortable, bathroom good size and has a bath. Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from at the buffet. Another comfy stay here. Easy walking distance to restaurants, Hop on hop off bus stop just outside hotel.

"Recommend!"
Carroll B, 07 Juillet 2018

This is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and pleasant and helpful staff. We liked the location—near the train station and within walking distance of many sights. They offer an affordable breakfast and are near many eating places.

"Great Location across from train station!"
G R M, 07 Juillet 2018

This hotel is good option for those who are in Room prior/or after a cruise. It is across from train station (very limited walking with luggage), rooms are clean and fine, but only quirk - is the shady glass bathroom... If no issue, then I recommend.

"Our stay on 6/06/18 and again at the end of June"
muzak2018, 05 Juillet 2018

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the courteous, friendly service provided by Hotel Royal Santina's staff (counter, restaurant, etc). Our room was modern, very comfortable, spacious and bright and best of all a very comfortable king size bed. We found the hotel's location, close to Rome Terminal, absolutely ideal as you could use the hotel as a base to travel throughout Italy by train with the minimum of fuss. We did however have a couple of dislikes: 1) if you arrive at the hotel in the morning, particularly if arriving from a long flight, you cannot check in until 2.00pm and while the holding of luggage provided was helpful, unfortunately, access to shower and a change of clothes would have been greatly welcome. 2) this was only a minor niggling item; the bed's wooden base protruded beyond the mattress with sharp corners which meant that if you got up during the night you'd be stubbing you toes on them constantly; we got aroud that by placing a cushion on the floor at each corner. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to use the hotel as our base.

"Great hotel."
Julbob_12, 26 Juin 2018

We recently stayed here and found it to be great. The staff were helpful, breakfast fantastic and rooms, wifi couldn't fault it. Close to Termini, and wonderful restaurants, opposite is the hop on hop off bus and the bus to the airport.

"I can't really find fault"
JJ D, 26 Juin 2018

This is a modern style hotel in Rome, something that's pretty rare. Staff were friendly and efficient. My room was large, clean, comfortable and had all mod cons, even mood lighting. The bed was comfortable and there was a pillow menu. It is located across from Termini station, which makes airport access easy. There is a taxi rank across the street, a metro (the only on both lines) and tour buses depart across the street. I didn't use the hotel facilities so can't comment on them. I've recently recommended this hotel to colleagues.

"Clean, comfortable and 2 minutes from main train station"
CLIFF-PATRICIA, 26 Juin 2018

Hotel was clean and comfortable and literally 2 minutes walk from the main train station. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast buffet was very good and staff came around to make fresh cappuccino for you. Location was excellent, with several small restaurants and shops nearby. Computer in lobby to check e-mails or print boarding passes. Bar just off lobby was good, and had cold water and juice in pitchers most of the day.

"Modern, clean and comfortable"
amonakhovav, 17 Juin 2018

Located just 4 min away from Roma Termini railway station. Excellent choice, if planning to travel by train between cities and use metro in Rome (2 stops to Colosseum and 6 stops to Vatican). Leonardo Express train from FCO airport takes just 32 min directly to Roma Termini, best option to avoid traffic. Very helpful and professional personnel. Check-in and check-out process was seamless. Special thanks to Alessia, the lady at the reception. She really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Grazie mille! Modern, clean and comfortable rooms (stayed in Double/Twin Room). Great toiletries, including a pack of L'Oréal samples. There is a selection of pillows, which is really handy for those who suffer from allergies. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, which is a huge plus for Rome. In case you are planning to have an early breakfast in Vatican museums or leave for early excursion - you do not miss your pre-paid breakfast. On the other hand, the cost is 5 euro, which is a real deal for variety of tasty food: cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, eggs, etc. Would definitely come back to tis hotel and recommend to friends and family.

"Clean room near many sights"
tissyp, 14 Juin 2018

This hotel is very modern looking inside. The room has rather cool mood lighting that you can change to about 4 or 5 different colors. The room is clean and spacious for Rome. The bathrooms are large and have a rain shower head. The sink is a bit small, however, but everything else made up for that lack. The bed was comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. Concierge service was helpful although they were busy much of the time. I would stay here again as it was comfortable and easy to navigate to and from. It is also right across from the bus terminal which is great if you take day trips out of Rome or need to go to the airport.

"Great breakfast and excellent bathroom"
Astghik I, 14 Juin 2018

I had a lovely modern room with a comfortable bad . The bathroom amenities were in high quality, I don't usually use the free toiletries, but the ones in Royal Santina were really good products. I adored the shower ( we called it monsoon, as it seemed you were under heavy rain, very relaxing with warm water). The breakfast was a varied buffet with lots of selections for different tastes. The hotel is well located. Close to Rome Termini Metro Station, Coliseum that can be even reached on foot if you like walking and discovering. One of our conference sessions took place in the hotel's conference hall. I liked the conference facilities, the room wasn't depressing (as most conference halls usually are).

"Would stay again"
NanKaSa, 11 Juin 2018

Very close to Roma Termini train station and therefore was very convenient for seeing the sights and also day trips out of Rome as well. Liked having the breakfast in the mornings to stock up on before heading out for the day and the option of being able to have dinner (we did it once) at the hotel itself was convenient. Staff were very helpful and we would stay here again.

"Canadian in Rome"
Don C, 01 Juin 2018

As a past business traveller my expectations of hotels are fairly high. I'm happy to say that Royal Santina met or exceeded all our expectations. The staff are warm and welcoming, the property is very clean and well appointed. For us the location was perfect. It is directly across from the Termini, and literally 100 feet from stop #1 for the “hop on hop off” tourist shuttle. That is very convenient. A very nice breakfast buffet is available for a modest €5 per person. Good value and very convenient.

"Great hotel near Train Station"
Lois S, 31 Mai 2018

Lovely, well appointed room with L'Occitane shampoo and lotions! Great breakfast buffet with variety of selection. You can have a cappuccino or espresso by request. Nice bar and decent dinner menu. Hotel used by Cruises

"Great location, clean room, and free smart phone provided"
capesaur, 29 Mai 2018

The hotel has the perfect location, right across Roma Termini and within a few mins walking distance to many cafe shops, restaurants, metro and bus stations. The room is small but very clean with comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. Free smartphone is provided that has google map installed, which I found very useful while walking in the city. The only minor part is the occasional smell of cigarette smoke in my room. not sure where it was from, maybe because of its centralized air conditioning.

"Great location "
Bigboykennoy, 28 Mai 2018

I can not fault this hotel in any way , breakfast was well worth the €5 per person , location was perfect ( 2 min walk from train station from airport - 3 mins walk to underground for access to attractions ) room was clean and bed was large and very comfortable, shower was clean and powerful i would definatly stay again .

"Rome Trip"
Chris H, 25 Mai 2018

Excellent location very close to Rome Termini Station ,modern hotel with very comfortable beds , & good size bathroom ,excellent buffet breakfast for 5 euros ,hop on hop off bus stop opposite hotel ,very easy to get to all attractions , some in walking distance

"Located right across from Roma Termini"
Drishti J, 21 Mai 2018

The best part about this hotel is that it is located just a block away from Roma Termini. When we reached Rome it was raining heavily so it was a relief to see the hotel from the station itself and not have to worry about hailing a cab or getting wet in the rain for too long. The hotel premises are clean. The neighborhood is also great with a lot of eateries, souvenir shops, shopping mall at Roma Termini. The bathroom was the highlight-very modern looking with fancy lighting. They have buttons for different colors that change the lights in the bathroom/bathtub which was pretty cool. The bathroom also has a bidet like in some other south European countries. The room comes with an extra mobile phone for accessing social media. The dining area was smaller than we expected but I loved that they had a pancake maker. Also, I think they could have added a few more varieties of food for a Best Western hotel. We spent most of the time touring the city so we could not spend much time at the hotel. But our short stay was good. It helped that they provided umbrellas when it rained :) Details of stay: Room type: Standard Double Duration of stay: 2 nights Price per night: $132

Really nice modern hotel...clean...confy bed and great location. Rooms small but well equiped and a great modern bathroom. Well worth the money.....accross the road virtually from train station and an eady walk to all of Romes attractions

"Excellent hotel "
ScubaKimmy, 18 Mai 2018

Stayed 2 nights in May the hotel was busy but still quiet at night. Had a junior suite on the 7th floor facing Tremi Station, the large patio was nice for an evening drink or early morning coffee. The room was spacious (for a European hotel) with a very comfortable Queen size bed. The washroom has a separate shower and tub area divided from the bedroom by a sliding glass door. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. I am a picky eater and there was still a lot to choose from. Staff was mostly friendly and very helpful. Paulo was very kind and efficient. Recommend a terrific restaurant only 2 blocks away. If you are looking for a taxi walk out of hotel and to corner and flag one down they are driving by all the time. The bus station is across the street and with the “Roma Bus” app it is very easy to get around the city by bus or to the hotel by train. If in Rome again I would definitely stay here.

"Excellent accommodation - highly recommended! "
Renie4122, 15 Mai 2018

We are currently staying in this great little hotel and we are very impressed. Conveniently located within a few minutes' walk of the Termini train and metro station, it has everything we want - friendly, helpful staff, excellent buffet breakfast, super quiet room, comfortable bed, piping hot shower, free wifi, complimentary toiletries, in-room tea making facilities and personal safe. Highly recommended.

"Felt really safe and hotel manager was lovely "
bobberlicious, 13 Mai 2018

I was on my own and had arrived from England, my room was ready at 12pm so I'm really grateful as I left the U.K. at 6am so needed somewhere to have a rest. The hotel manager was lovely and really helpful. They put me in a quiet room which I asked for in advance. I got room service of club sandwich and chips and a pizza as I had a gift card to use up. Both where lovely and really enjoyed them. Was only €10 each so when you think of the prices in Rome I thought this was very good value for room service.

"100% Recommend"
martra19, 11 Mai 2018

Great stay. Perfect location in regards to proximity to Termini train station. Breakfast was not included, but it was cheap and easily added to the bill. My room was clean. The shower was amazing and nice separate tub. I stayed in my room for 3 days, the perfect size for just one person, plenty of room for luggage. The staff was pleasant. Great location to just hop on the Metro and sight see within in Rome. If I go to Rome, I'd definitely stay here again!

"Great hotel"
Alice F, 03 Mai 2018

We were very happy with this hotel. Spacious clean room with AC and a comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We did not use Manet. We had no time to figure it out. Good idea, though. Good service.

"Our first European vacation."
Duane S, 02 Mai 2018

The staff at the hotel are the friendliest most helpful I have encountered. The hotel is ultra modern and located near major attractions and museums. Hop on hop off buses are right in front of the building as well as taxis and shuttle buses. The restaurant is acceptable and reasonably priced. A great place to stay in Rome.

The Hotel Santina was awesome! Loved that they provided a smart phone for us to use. Definitely helped us get to and from our hotel easily! We would stay at the Santina again if we ever make it back to Rome!

"photos can be misleading. average hotel room"
jacksonburrow, 30 Avril 2018

The photos of the hotel rooms in their website looks immaculate but it wasn't the case when I got in the actual room. The room was spacious enough, bed was comfortable, however, the floor carpet is starting to wear out. this makes me feel that the floor isn't that clean? the bedroom lights weren't too bright, I had to keep opening the curtains to get more light. there is only hand held shower in the tub. did not like the tub in particular as it looked really old. it was like a dark brown stone finish kind of material that at one point I thought it looked rusty. overall, the rooms definitely look a bit outdated. Location wise, it is very close to Roma Termini. The hotel staff was very nice I must admit.

"Average hotel"
Natoriesh, 23 Avril 2018

The good: - Room is extremely small, so the air conditioning works pretty well - Close to train and metro stations - Friendly, informative staff - Affordable breakfast(5€) - Android phone in room that you can take around Rome with you - Has a safe - Decent minibar prices - Hop on bus tours stop right outside - You can change the lighting under the bed to yellow, green, red and blue (if you're into that sort of thing...) The bad: - Possibly the smallest room I've ever been in. Huge desk which I didn't find useful takes up a lot of space that would be better left empty (strictly for space). - Shower is very small and leaks from the bottom into the bathroom, creating a puddle - Bathroom is lit like a back alley in Rome (used the mirror in the main room to shave) - Terrible wifi: very slow, disconnects constantly I guess you get what you pay for, so it's hard to compare against other hotels in the same price-range in Rome without staying in those. Just comparing it to other hotels at a similar price-point in comparable tourist cities.

"Exceptional Experience"
DrMuhammadUmair, 19 Avril 2018

Close to the main station. 30 mins from the airport. Bus stop was infront of the hotel. Hop on Hop off as well. Excellent staff. Very good service. Food was very nice. room was clean and tidy with good space. very comfortable. Would love to go back.

"Recent stay at Royal Santina"
luciperr, 06 Avril 2018

Wonderful hotel and great staff. I would highly recommend the hotel. Not only were they helpful at check-in, they were helpful throughout the trip. The room was very spacious for Rome standards. I stayed in a suite with my mother and teenage daughter. It was fantastic!

"Great location, very comfortable"
F W, 06 Avril 2018

Right next to Termini station and within comfortable walking distance of sights, bars and shops. Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Only small niggle was they asked for a £50 euro deposit to borrow a hairdryer from reception which I thought was a bit excessive but it was returned with no problem.

"Visiting Rome"
afeng2018, 05 Avril 2018

This hotel is in a great location. The hop on hop off bus stops across the road and there are lots of restaurants and interesting places nearby. The hotel provide mobiles with sat nav to guests and this makes it very easy to locate sites and to know how long it takes to walk there. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. The only drawback is that there is no proper bar in the hotel. Well worth a visit.

"Great choice"
Dougle_Glos, 04 Avril 2018

Stayed for 3 nights to watch 6 nations and sightsee. Great location about 20mins to Colloseum, same to Spanish steps. Room v comfortable, breakfast choice plentiful. Right next door to Termini station so good for travelling elsewhere or underground.

"Great location for sightseeing"
Janine F, 27 Mars 2018

Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon around Italy. We found the hotel to be clean and tidy and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good value and we also ate in the restaurant one night and found the food to be well presented and nice.... But nothing special. Our room looked out onto the main road which did mean it was noisy all night. Being English we needed more milk for our drinks in the room and the hotel were happy to oblige A big advantage for us was the sightseeing tour bus stopped right outside the hotel, this was great for us because after walking 10 miles around Rome we could not walk anymore and were glad to get off right outside hotel. All in all this is a good and comfortable hotel with easy reach to all the sights of rome .

"Great Location. Nice hotel."
Jim M, 27 Mars 2018

The Hotel Royal Santina is located very close to the main train station. The restaurant is nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little small but comfortable and quiet. I would definitely consider this hotel especially if arriving or leaving via train.

"hotel fine,customer service excellent"
davebowdenmhi, 25 Mars 2018

Hotel is clean bright and modern,Staff excellent, willing to assist with anything.Bar food menu though restricted in content was reasonable, good size portions.Restaurant menu also good. Breakfast buffet great value. Provision of manet smartphone was invaluable for 1st time visitors.

"A Decent All- Round Hotel"
shirlham, 23 Mars 2018

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a Rugby Package. The location is good and accessible by foot to most of the tourist attractions. Service was great, the room and bed comfortable and the breakfast reasonable but lacking in finesse (diluting orange juice, not fresh; poor toaster).

"The honeymoon is over when......."
foghornleghorn68, 21 Mars 2018

you're in the bathroom having a shave and the wife walks in to take a dump! If it's going to happen anywhere then this is the place. A series of glass walls and sliding doors ensures zero privacy and full acoustics. There are other interior design gaffes but overall our clean room was good. The strength of this hotel lies in the excellent customer service, generous public spaces, good elevators, ease of transition from street to lobby and proximity to train station.

"Trip to watch Italy v Scotland Rugby match"
Angela S, 20 Mars 2018

Fun weekend for the rugby. Staff at the hotel made us very welcome. Bedroom and en-suite are modern, clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is standard continental but there is plenty to choose from. Metro just round the corner for travelling to the sights. Taxis are not expensive apart from coming back after the rugby when we were quoted 10 euros per person. We would definately stay again.

"Nice location "
Baha A, 15 Mars 2018

I loved this hotel very nice location close to the train station and subway easy to find if you like to walk you can get to all the main attractions in ten to twenty min or you can take the metro and be there with less walking but Rome should be explored by feet. The rooms were a bit small but I used them to sleep at night breakfast was good and nicely priced at five euros would definitely stay there especially if I was planning on a euro tour by train.

"should be better"
Andrea P, 11 Mars 2018

I spent here 1 day and frankly was enough. the main problem was the bed's mattress...old/broken because the springs were really too soft. Another problem the TV..i don't know but to change channel need every time 5-10 seconds. Anyway...good location, clean and beside the hotel there is a parking for the car.

"First visit to Rome, great choice of Hotel!"
thomas2751, 09 Mars 2018

We stayed 5-8 March, room 807. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and welcome. All the reception staff were very helpful, and meeting Patricia (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) in the restaurant at breakfast was a delight. She was very welcoming and greeted us warmly. Our room was very well appointed, comfortable bed, linen and towels refreshed daily, ample toiletries and good tea and coffee making facilities. The location is perfect for Termini station, the tour bus,the buses to the airport and for various tourist attractions. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Santina and thank the staff once again for a pleasurable stay.

"Excellent stay"
mangiagnolo, 06 Mars 2018

We love BW Royal Santina. The location is excellent, with the train station / bus terminal / taxi rank / airport shuttles right on the front door, and lots of sights close by. The staff is among the friendliest, we know a lot of them by name and it is a pleasure to see them every time we're back - it also says something that the staff is not constantly changed with underpaid interns. We feel at home when we stay at RS. The breakfast is good, and very well priced for what is on offer - a varied mix of hot and cold dishes, with gluten intolerant people in mind, as well as babies and vegetarians. We have never had lunch or dinner because usually we're out and about. The rooms might not be the biggest in Rome but they are definetely comfortable, clean and tidy, and functional. We got a surprise upgrade on our last stay which made our stay that much more special. The gym is not big but it has enough machines so as not to fill up quickly. Last note, we love the shower!! The ceiling head has a very soothing spray which we always make the most of. Kee it up! We will definetely recommend the estabilishment to our friends and family.

"Rome,Easy location to get to attractions"
pricedoe, 05 Mars 2018

Modern hotel with superb bathroom amenities.Separate shower and commode with artistic mood lighting in the glass walls.Even on a very busy street our room was pleasantly quiet and comfortable.Well located so as to get to attractions.Taxis came frequently and were relatively inexpensive.Restaurant food very good but buffet breakfast was a little disjointed.Otherwise I would still choose this hotel and location

"Great Rome experience ??"
Rob H, 03 Mars 2018

Stayed at the above 22/02-25/02/18. Perfectly located for the Terminal and all transport services. Hotel was great staff wonderfully helpful and pleasant. Good value breakfast €5 though a little basic. Would definitely stay here again.

"Small in every way "
Johnathan E, 25 Février 2018

The rooms were small. The elevators were small. And I'm not talking small like everything in Europe. I'm talking smaller than that. I felt claustrophobic. I would not stay here again. And they had not English channels on their TV. Not cool when you want to unwind after a day of exploring.

"Excellent location"
yogesh801, 18 Février 2018

Stayed at this hotel a few times when visiting Rome. Its location is extremely convenient. It is next to the main train station, Rome Termini, so it is easy to reach here from the airport by Leonardo Express and to take trains to other places in Italy. It is also an easy walk to several sights in Rome. The breakfast, though not included in the price, is at nominal rates and is quite elaborate. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Free Wi Fi is available. There are plenty of good restaurants near by. It is not very expensive or luxurious. But it is a nice hotel for a stay in Rome.

"Excellent Location."
Yanwar, 16 Février 2018

Hotel is located next to rome termini so it is very easy to commute anywhere. Rooms are clean, breakfast should not be missed ( its Euro 10/ person and good spread of buffet). Booked triple room, it is really large.

"Good hotel in a number of respects"
MarkL2012, 15 Février 2018

We stayed at the Royal Santina as part of a package to see the Italy v England 6 Nations rugby match. The hotel is very well located for some things but inconvenient for others. It is very close to the main train terminus in Rome and therefore has excellent transport links to all other parts of Italy, and busses and metro in Rome. We opted for private transfers to and from the airport which took about 40 minutes. Those in our party that opted for the shuttle bus seemed to take considerably longer. Convenient though it is for transport elsewhere the hotel is not especially well situated for access to the major sights and sites of the city which are distributed around other areas of Rome. The one major exception is the excellent Museo Nazionale Romano at Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, about 5 minutes walk away. Being near the station there are many inexpensive eating and drinking options in nearby streets, all of which seem to offer very similar fare. More upmarket eateries are less common and you will probably have to travel further to find them. The hotel has the amenities you would expect from a four star establishment. The bar area was a little small but adequate and served a good range of drinks and food. The restaurant was fine for breakfast, which was fresh, plentiful and varied, but probably a bit antiseptic for evening meals. We did not choose to eat there so cannot comment on the food although others seemed to enjoy it. Our room was on the top (8th) floor which has the disadvantage of being served by only one lift. The room was adequate but slightly on the small side. The Royal Santina sells itself on its “funky” decor and furnishing as well as its high tech approach. This enables guests to alter the colour of secondary lighting around the furniture in the room to suit their mood. The hotel also provides a free smart phone to access local and international calls, internet services and hotel services. I am not the most tech savvy person in the world but I did use the mood lighting, which entertained me for a couple of minutes. I also tried the smartphone but herein was the key problem with it - others may be much better at operating these things but I tried twice without managing to make it function properly. There was then no way I was wasting any more precious time on it and I reverted to my own iPhone and iPad instead (WiFi in the hotel is free, which is good). The other problem with the room was that the air conditioning was not working. We were advised by the management that there was a fault with the aircon on our floor and we should open the window to cool the room. Interestingly this contradicted the environmental advice that came with the room. Furnishings and decor were quite new and reflected the design of the rest of the hotel. Whilst looking good storage space for clothes was quite limited, especially drawer space. Overall as far as the rooms go they are somewhat over designed and maybe they need to ensure the basics work before introducing any more tech or gadgets. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Reception organised us an early check in when we arrived before the main party, cleaners were friendly and helpful as were the bar staff and breakfast crew. The only issue we had was with one of the reception staff one night who gave us completely inaccurate information regarding the possibility of a delayed check out on our final day (which was arranged for us the next morning). Overall there was little wrong with the hotel and it served its purpose for us perfectly adequately.

"Great position close to railway/metro station"
talby49, 15 Février 2018

A very convenient hotel in Rome. A short stroll to railway station and metro. Tourist buses stop close by. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast, although we did not sample the dinner menu as we eat at restaurants locally. Bedroom was very clean and of a reasonable size.

"Rugby weekend "
Jo A, 06 Février 2018

With Gullivers travel tour company chose the BW Royal Santina as it looked very nice online. Not disappointed everyone and everything was just as expected from a 4 star hotel. The staff were all very friendly and efficient The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful The location is brilliant lots of restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk Termini station just around the corner Beds very comfortable and the room very nice. Housekeeping were certainly very efficient each day bed made/room made up whilst we were having breakfast! Will certainly stay again

"Six nations weekend"

A fantastic hotel.Service is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant. Lots of bars and restaurants within 3 minutes walk.Termini and metro are on doorstep of hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and very tasty

"Convenient hotel near Roma Termini railways station"
Eugenio C, 15 Janvier 2018

It is the second time I stayed in this hotel. I took a special price offer (99 € +11 € for breakfast). The hotel is in front of the Roma Termini railway station. Very convenient for traveler and with many restaurant in the proximity. The receptionists has been very cold (but professional). The room was at 7th floor, on the internal yard, quiet, spacious and clean, as the bathroom. The breakfast, even with a large selection of food was, on my opinion, not correctly managed by the servers: lack of food and hosts waiting for refilling while servers spending time talking each other. I feel to suggest this hotel just when there are special prices.

"Nice"
Zoom_Gotti, 12 Janvier 2018

This is a decent hotel across from the main train station and bus transport center. But it's main appeal is to tour groups, mainly from Asia and North America. It's a bit of hike from here to most of the sites at the farther reaches of central Rome. But for euro 1.50 you can take the nearby 40 or 64 buses to close to most any of the major sites and venues. The hotel has 8 floors and more than one elevator, though interior space inside any one of them can be real tight. I found housekeeping to be good, but they clean the check out rooms first, so you're likely not to get handled until later in the day. The bath area was well supplied with toiletries and towels. There was an honors fridge in my room and also a coffee maker. The breakfast bar offered small hot chocolate packets, so I was able to make my own in-room mochas. Wi-Fi is available and, if you need to print (or maybe get faster speed), you can use the lobby computer. There's a comfy sitting area in the lobby adjoining the bar. And the breakfast buffet space is turned into a restaurant at later hours. One airport bus terminal is directly across the street. So it's quite a good location for coming from and going to either airport. Security is aggressive here. If you are expecting visitors to your room, you will want to come down and meet them at the main door. If you are driving, fee parking is available.

"Good Hotel near Termini Staion"
elusivemike, 10 Janvier 2018

On arrival the hotel was very busy, lots of suits in the lobby and in and out of the hotel, I think there might of been a conference on or some sort of business meeting, quite irrelevant to any review but I thought I would mention it anyway, we arrived around 11am and our room wasn't ready, as there was no point in wasting valuable time we left our bags in the secure luggage room in the hotel. We only arrived back late evening, Room was on the 6th floor fairly sized and very nicely decorated, comfortable bed and pillows and nice heating system, there is a like a light theme throughout the room it's supposed to help with your mood, it can be switched off though. The shower and WC all good ! Wifi had a very strong signal and worked well !Breakfast you pay for separately and wasn't that good, don't get me room it wasn't bad either, it's more a take it or leave it situation, I didn't care much for it so I left it and on the last 2 days just went elsewhere. There is a gym available, which I didnt use so can't comment on it. Overall nice stay near the station which is handy. Lots of nice resturantes in the area for dinner specially on the streets behind the hotel. Would stay again !

"Excellent for a short or a long trip"
Mat S, 03 Janvier 2018

We was here for five days and it was very good. The Bed was comfortable and the Bathroom was amazing. The Breakfast was very good, you can ask the staff for everything you want. A very good way to start the day!

"Location and convenience"
Timothy W, 25 Décembre 2017

The hotel was very clean and secure. The room was wonderfully decorated and very well designed. The hotel staff were helpful with each tasked when we asked. The hotel was located in a very convenient area to get around Rome. The train terminal was about a block from hotel and the buses to and from the airports loaded right across the street. The only slight negatives were the noise from the street. If your staying on the Train terminal side of the hotel, it can get a little noisy from so much activity on the street right next to the train terminal. That's expected though since this is the main terminal for Rome. The other negative was the bed was a little firmer than my wife and I like, but of course that's a personal preference and some people may like it that way.

"Looking for a great place to stay by the Rome Termini Central Railway Station.?"
sydney p, 30 Novembre 2017

The Best Western Royal Santina Hotel is located at 22 via Marsala and in my opinion is the ideal place to bed down. Located within an easy 5 minute walk from the Termini Station to this hotel. ( this hotel was recommended by a close friend of mine that had check many hotels around this area.). I booked well ahead at a rate of 148 Euro's per night. This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near the train, bus and metro system. ( all in one)! Ideal for catching a cruise ship leaving the port of Civitavecchia ( taking the non stop train from Termini station will take you 1 hour train ride and cost you 5 Euro's. other wise the regional trains will make a number of stops and will take 1 hour and 22 minutes. An easy walk from the train station to the port entrance will take about 20 minutes or less. You can catch the FREE Port Shuttle bus to your ship just inside the entrance to the port. Also you can catch a cab from the train station to your ship as well. Because we were traveling with 2 other couples and luggage ,,we decided to forget about the train and had the hotel send us a private vehicle which cost us 160 Euro's from the hotel to the ship. ( regular rate of !80 Euro's). From the FCO airport you can go by train, bus or taxi.to the downtown Main Termini Station. I decided to try my luck on the bus this time vs the train ( taxis are to expensive 45 Euros). As you exit terminal 3 baggage claim at the FCO airport, make a right turn and walk to the end of the building exiting on to the side walk. You will see signs directing you to the many buses parked and ready to go for different parts of the city. There are attendants who speak very good English that will direct you to the bus you will need to get you to the Rome Termini Station .You can pay the 6 Euro per person ride in a very comfortable bus ! hour ride. You can pay at the Kiosh booth near by as well. Arriving at thje Termini Station , ask the bus driver for directions to Via Marsala ' Best Western Royal Santina is a 118 room ultra modern hotel. From the lobby to the rooms. The check in staff were very helpful. Forgot your AC adapter> Not to worry, you can borrow one from them. They can also print out the train time schedule to any where in Italy.( Book ahead as this hotel books full). This hotel has 3 elevators. Our room # 615 was a very clean, small ultra modern room with a comfortable king bed that sat low to the floor. ( other rooms in this hotel are larger and with views). A very compact room with a bath room that was surprisingly large with a tub and walk in shower. No micro wave, It did have a refrigerator. This room faced the busy street of Via Marsala. Even with all the traffic, it was a very quite room.No problem sleeping, Breakfast buffet will cost you 5 Euro's per person and worth the price, Lunch and dinner is also served. A lot of restaurants around this area. The front desk staff recomended the La Famigila restaurant located 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel. Ask for directions as there are several restaurants with the like name that is more expensive and the food not as good. Usually you will see 5 tour buses parked across the street in front of . the hotel during the AM, So, grab your camera, buy your ticket and hop on board! Happy Travels, Sydney Paul ..

"train station access"
LucyMart1213, 30 Novembre 2017

I would choose this hotel only if you want to be next to the train station. The breakfast is good and staff is accommodating. They'll even hold your bags, order you a taxi, make a reservation; however, the location benefit is limited to being next to the train station. All other attractions and restaurant access is further away. Be cautious of the area. A lot of traffic and people due to the access to the station.

"Temperature control issues"
Delores T, 16 Novembre 2017

The hotel turned off AC and the room was too warm...there was a window (which remained crack -which created am awful draft during the late hours. The bathroom was designed to be modern- but it wasn't practical. We only had a shower - however the shower did not have enclosed glass doors ~ so water was everywhere. Bed was too soft! Breakfast buffet was average at best...lukewarm 'hot' food, half cooked bacon, not appetizing. We were on a non-smoking floor - however we could smell cigarette smoke as soon as we exited our room.

"Great Value, Great Location"
EdlySnowman, 14 Novembre 2017

It was my wife's 50th birthday trip, and we were going on a cruise that sailed from Rome. So we stayed here for 3 nights before the cruise, along with a dozen of our friends! We apologize to those who had a room facing the little garden on the 1st floor, as we tend to gather there before and after dinner, and we got a little (lot) loud. The rooms were quite large. As we were only there for a short time, we did not unpack, and we were able to leave our suitcases on the floor and still not trip over them. The bed was comfortable, really nice bathrooms, and nice soft linens! The buffet breakfast was only €5 per person, really affordable and good.

"Good value and location"
Patricia F, 12 Novembre 2017

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious (for Europe) and well maintained. The staff were very helpful. The location was convenient for easy walking to many sites. There was a breakfast buffet with a great selection for a reasonable cost. We were traveling with a group of friends and there is an inside courtyard that became a wonderful meeting place.

"Great Value for City Break"
NGW134, 06 Novembre 2017

Good rooms and friendly staff. Very helpful at check in with great tips for sight seeing. The restaurant is very good with quality food at a good price (for Rome). Great Breakfast and good value at 5 Euro.

"Great hotel in a very good location"
Jatin1705, 05 Novembre 2017

My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and we had a very good experience, if we had any questions or problems we had great customer service and they responded quickly. Hotel room and bathroom were modern and clean , cleaners were great too with their attention to detail. Breakfast was not included but we were only charged 5 euros pp. Hotel is located 5 minutes from Roma Termini station, only a 35-40 minute train ride from Fiumicino airport and also 5 minutes from the main bus station. All in all a very lovely trip, would highly recommend.

"Great Modern Hotel"
Sabrian42, 04 Novembre 2017

Loved the location of this hotel, it was a block from the train station and an easy walk to a lot of tourist spots, like the Trevi Fountain. The room was very comfortable and quite modern-- those fancy ambient lights may have required a call to the front desk for me to figure out, but the person working was very friendly and didn't make me feel like an idiot for needing some guidance. I also had the best meal of my vacation by taking their advice on where to go; having a knowledgeable front desk staff is always a plus. The only downside was that the walls seemed quite thin, so I could easily hear other guests running around at odd hours of the night.

"Exceptional in Every Way"
barbaraaF2828SK, 04 Novembre 2017

The Hotel Royal Santina was simply one of the best hotels I stayed at while visiting Italy and Greece over a 12 day period. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and my upgraded room was luxurious. It's location and easy access to Termini for both city access and transportation to the airports and city highlights/tours was excellent. I would only choose this hotel in the future. I only wish I'd arranged additional days in advance, but will surely plan to do so when I return next year!

"Great location with modern room at fair price"
DAVID H, 28 Octobre 2017

The hotel is well located for travellers with only a 5 minute stroll from Roma Termini Railway Station which has express trains to the International Airport and other international train services. Our room was on the top floor and was a good size with modern fittings. The only fault we found was that the cord on the electric jug was too short to reach the power points provided. The restaurant did not offer a large choice of food but was adequate and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an excellent buffet for the low price charged. Recommended.

"Waiting to Embark on Queen Victoria "

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great near the railway and bus station. Rooms are clean though small by Australian standards. Have all the amenities that you need. I would certainly stay here again.

Have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. Staff were fabulous and so professional.Excellent service was clearly really important to them. Breakfast was a dream and other meals both lunch and dinner were very good if a little limited in choice. The rooms were of a reasonable size but clean and modern. The bathroom was excellent and the beds very comfortable. Would we stay there in Rome again? Absolutely. Thoroughly recommended.

"Very pleased with this hotel and location"
Morgan1025, 10 Octobre 2017

This was a repeat trip to Rome for us. The hotel was on a list with our airline package. We wanted something close to the Termini train station and it was ultimately convenient! only a 5-7 minute walk and felt quite safe, even at night. The hotel is quite modern, with lovely rooms, being fairly spacious for European hotels. Although breakfast was not included in our room rate, it was available for 5 Euro per person. There was more than and adequate selection of fruits, breads, eggs, meats, juices, etc. The location was bright and modern. We woudl definitely return again as it had everything we needed: close to trains for easy connections, comfortable rooms/ beds, economical and convenient breakfast.

"Great location "
ljblue35, 09 Octobre 2017

Just returned from our 3 day trip to Rome, we stayed here because of its perfect location - a two minute walk from the Termini station! We walked to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain from here - if you're able bodied you don't need the hop on tour bus in my opinion. Be mindful of street sellers around these places, they will try to give you trinkets as gifts and then beg for money. We used the subway to get to Vatican city which was 7 euros, coming back we got off at Spagna to look at the Spanish Steps. We queued for two hours to get in the Vatican museum, don't pay to skip the queue as they mentioned charging us 50 euros! It's 16 euros entry and worth the wait. Hotel was nice enough, good location, clean rooms, breakfast not amazing but plenty of choice. Unfortunately just to mention the toilets in reception were always filthy when used before we set off for the day. Also, a man in reception who I assume was a security guard was very rude to us whenever we came back to the hotel in the evening, he asked us every night if we were definitely staying at the hotel and in what room number?! Aside from that, a thoroughly enjoyable trip! P.S - cross the roads with extreme caution as motorists don't stop for anything!

"Very nice hotel at a perfect place"
61Giovanni, 07 Octobre 2017

We stayed the second time in this hotel. The location is phantastic. Very close to the "Termini" train station with conection to the metro in all directions. The hotel is clean and in order. We can clearly recomend the place for wonderful trip to the lovley city of Rome.

"Great place with good breakfast"
BostonLatcho, 05 Octobre 2017

Room is clean, also have a free cell phone, make your trip much more convenience. Good AC in the room too. Great location, close to train station, there's a supermarket under the train station. There's many more other store in case you need anything. Also walking distance to many attraction. There's also an ATM machines, it works with my bank of America bank card. Great breakfast, it's totally worth it to pay 3 Euro a day than go out to find food if you don't have much time. good coffee machines, the food choice is good.

"Great room!"
Theresa M, 01 Octobre 2017

We stayed here for 4 nights while we were in Rome last week and loved it! Very clean, quite, beautiful room. Right by the bus/metro/train stations and walking distance to city centre. Breakfasts were great and staff was wonderful! The woman that was at the breakfast table taking our room number in the mornings was awesome and we struck up conversions with her daily. Love her! We would stay again!

"great location"
Annette U, 30 Septembre 2017

Nice centrally located & close to termini station. I did a lot of walking during 1st part of stay as my sister was working. Most of the places were within 30 minutes from hotel. Some places I walked to were, Trevi Fountain, St Peter's Basilica & Park Villa Ada. Once my sister was done with work, we bought metro/bus passes as she has knee issues, and most place were either a metro ride less than 5 stops or one bus. It was great that hotel had a smartphone you could use for navigation while there & keeping in contact instead of using your own plan. But because they have this phone, they should have a charging port that stays on when you leave room. As when we got there the battery in phone in room was only at 23%. Good thing I had a fast charger with me. The hotel staff were all very friendly. The breakfast wasn't bad for $3 euro a day, but wished it had more options like maybe being able to have eggs cooked over easy, the cut up fruit salad with a little more than apples & maybe some kind of hash brown potatoes. All & all I would differently go back to this hotel again. Hotel

"Clean Quiet Centrally Located"
K9647XChelens, 27 Septembre 2017

A very nice hotel located near Termini station so easy access to all the sites of Rome. Reasonable selection for breakfast, would have liked fried potatoes and sausage. Room was a very good size, well decorated and very clean. Comfortable beds. Bathroom had little storage and watch how you position the shower head you could have water all over the floor. My sister enjoyed having the Smart Phone provided to navigate the streets of Rome.

"Great location, service so so"
obrock, 20 Septembre 2017

Ideally located at main station. Breakfast buffet cheap, bad coffee. Room even at roadside surprisingly quiet. On one day the room was not made up despite three times requesting it. Only at 7pm they did it after the fourth request

"Great Hotel! Location Not So Great..."
alicemurray22, 19 Septembre 2017

My stay at the Royal Santina was (in general) amazing. Rome is by far my favourite place to visit and it feels like a second home to me in some ways. The city, the food, its people, the culture and everything that's going on make it one of the best cities in the world. We arrived at the hotel rather late so we thought we'd pop out for some quick food before settling in for the night (around 10pm). We luckily found a pizza place right outside the hotel, but as soon as we sat down to eat it, a very violent fight broke out right next to our table. It was rather frightening as no one seemed to do anything about it for a long time. We soon realised that the neighbourhood in which the hotel is located is a bit rough and not as safe as others might be. It's directly opposite the Termini Railway Station which sleeps hundreds of homeless people every night. They aren't necessarily dangerous, but after that first night we were always a bit more careful walking back at night time. Other than this slight concern, the hotel was beautiful. It is in walking distance to pretty much everything (around 20-25 minutes to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Pantheon etc.) and it's a lovely walk particularly in the Summer. The rooms are very well maintained, modern, comfortable and exactly what we needed. They're also fully equipped with great air conditioning which is amazing after a long hot day walking around in the sun. The breakfast set us up nicely for the day, with a large variety of hot and cold options and all very good quality. The staff at reception were great, and they recommended a lot of nice places for us to eat/drink throughout the day. I would definitely stay here again, but I do think there are other options a little closer to main attractions which have more attractive surroundings. But for what we paid, I can't complain at all. Rome is absolutely incredible. I recommend going on the hop-on hop-off bus tour on the first day to get your bearings. The Ice Bar, Piazza Navona, Travestere neighbourhood and Villa Borghese were all also very stand-out places for me. Make sure you hire a bike or a tandem to ride around on for a few hours - it's great fun! Thanks for a great stay!

"Very Comfortable Beds and Very Nice Modern Rooms!"
Bill B, 14 Septembre 2017

Our party of 9 stayed one night after our Mediterranean Cruise. We arrived quite early and our rooms were not available for about 4 hours; however, the hotel stored our luggage. Highlights of our stay were the comfortable beds, clean spacious rooms, large cool bathrooms, and a choice of color for the room lighting! Good location. A lovely girl working in reception recommended a terrific restaurant which she said she and her mother frequent!

"Best Location in Rome!"
Suzzette C, 14 Septembre 2017

This hotel is in the very best location in Rome. We were able to walk to Vatican City (1 hour 15 min walk) and the Forum/Colosseum (45 minutes). The hotel gives you a smartphone to use while you are staying there. The phone was very handy. We used google maps for walking directions to the sites. This was the nicest hotel that we saw for several blocks so we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is located next to the termini train station which was very convenient for traveling from the hotel to the cruise port at the end of our 4 day stay in Rome. The termini station is also like a shopping mall and has a pharmacy and grocery store and restaurants. The hotel room was much better than we expected for a Great Western. I would compare it to a nice but small Radisson Hotel. Our only issue with the room was that the combination bathtub shower did not have a shower curtain and that caused the bathroom floor to get wet. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. For those interested in the city sightseeing hop on hop off bus the stop is directly across the street from the hotel entrance. We had a great time in Rome. We will definitely return and we will stay at the Great Western Royal Santina.

"Good hotel, good price, good location"
Rob C, 08 Septembre 2017

We stayed hear for a week and walked all over Rome. The hotel was very convenient, especially close to Roma Termini rail station which meant no taxis needed to get in and out. The lobby doesn't look like much but the service and drinks, which came with munchies, were nothing short of excellent. Breakfast is typical hotel self-serve but the price of just 3 euros made it work nicely. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The furnishings are modern.

"The best of Italy - Rome"
nomaphelo n, 08 Septembre 2017

Perfect location for first timer, right in the middle of the city, close to metro station and tour buses & taxis stop right in front of hotel. Friendly staff, lovely clean modern rooms. And they give you an iron for free!!!! Food is average really, that is actually my experience in the whole Italian trip though.

"The little things make this an excellent place"
uweb513, 05 Septembre 2017

The staff are super helpful, all you have to do is ask and they will make it happen. When you are in a foreign country it makes you feel welcome and at ease. Whether it is checking in early or any other issue they will go out of their way to accommodate your request. If you need to stay close to Roma Termini this is the place to be in Rome.

"great location"
CWSCES, 04 Septembre 2017

We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the train station...solely based on location. It was a quick walk to the metro which is what we wanted. Many great restaurants within a few minutes walk. The rooms a small based on North American standards, but comparable to rooms in Asia. We only used the room for sleeping and showering. The room is contemporary, modular furnishings, and as noted is a bit small...however great value. The breakfast buffet at 3 euros per person is a great offer with an excellent selection of food. All staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly.

"Poor customer service"
Neil8311, 27 Août 2017

Very bad customer service....ruined the entire experience of staying there. No thank you for staying there or how the stay was. Rude personnels at the counter. I will reconsider future stays at the hotel.

"Extremely modern hotel with great staff"
nancycV4245US, 24 Août 2017

Hotel Royal Santina is centrally located right across from the Termini train station in Rome. The hotel staff is extremely professional and very accommodating. The breakfast provides ample variety for every taste. The room we had was extremely clean and very modern with LED mood lighting and a bathroom comprised of various glass panels. There was even a speaker in the bathroom, so you could hear the television. One of the greatest features of this hotel was that the room came with a complimentary smartphone. You were allowed to take it out of the room and use its data to surf the web, just as you would on your own smartphone. It also offered you the possibility of buying discounted tickets for tours and events through Musement. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who will be staying in Rome.

"Rome"
Debster28, 22 Août 2017

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and really liked the location. It is close to Termini Station, good restaurants and the hop on hop off bus. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. We were a group of 6 in 3 rooms and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome.

"Best hotel!!"
Patricia K, 18 Août 2017

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three days prior to a Princess cruise. It was arranged by Princess for us. The hotel is centrally located, one block from the central bus/train/ metro station. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus stopped right across the street from the hotel and made sightseeing so easy. But by far the best part was the helpful, friendly staff! They assisted with directions, making reservations, and anything else we needed. I especially want to thank the woman at the desk, Iolanda, the woman who treated us each morning as we went to the wonderful breakfast buffet, PatriIa, and the Customer Service Director, Roberta. It was a truly wonderful experience!

"Ideal on all levels..."
Thadius, 16 Août 2017

We checked in to the Hotel Royal Santina Aug 1st 2017 and stayed for five nights The hotel is located across the street and about a block away from the Roma Termini Train station. Even though the Hotel is not close to the airport it is close and within walking distance to all major attractions in Rome if you are in pretty good shape and enjoy walking. We walked to the Trevi Fountain, The Colosseum, Vatican City, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona and Ponte Sant' Angelo.. You can catch a train from the airport very easily or hail a cab to reach the hotel We stayed in room 805 which had a courtyard view. The 8th floor is the highest floor in the hotel. The room is a little small but was more than adequate. The king bed was soft and there is mood lighting which was cool. Colors could be changed manually from Red,Green, Blue or White. Or you could simply turn them off altogether. We had a wonderful rain shower with a handheld wall shower mount in our bathroom. There is Wi-fi and a cell phone that can be used in the room at no extra charge. There was a small fridge with drinks inside that will get charged to your room if you consume those items. We used the fridge to store small food and beverage items The Hotel's breakfast was amazing and super cheap. We paid 3 Euros pp and this could be charged to your room. The breakfast offered plenty of pastries, pancakes, meats, eggs, cereals, fruits, breads etc. The hop on hop off bus as well as other buses were directly across the street from the hotel. The gym was perfect and I was the only person that used it the entire time. Two treadmills, one elyptical and universal gym with a small selection of free weights was perfect. The gym was clean and spacious with a water cooler with cold drinking water. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.. The courtyard is for smokers which was nice for the smokers however if you don't smoke you may not want to try and relax out there even though it was very inviting. The Hotel may not look very inviting on the outside but for what it lacks on outside appearance it is what on the inside that counts.. Close to everything.. Loved it..

"Group Travel"
chamberstravelcc, 10 Août 2017

We had a group of 25 people stay in May for 2 nights. Rooms are VERY clean and modern. Nice breakfast and great location to many good restaurants within walking distance. 1.5 blocks from train Main train station Termini/metro. Very safe and quiet at night. The group was very pleased with this selection of hotel.Sofia in the sales department was very easy to work with to book the block of rooms and helpful in many ways.

"Ok hotel"
warmweatherlover_10, 08 Août 2017

Spent the night on August 5 at this hotel after a Cunard cruise. It was very clean and seemed quite safe. The staff members were fine. The hotel had kind of a cold industrial feel. Bed was comfortable. There was a family staying in the room next door and they got in after midnight and were very loud, shouting slamming doors etc. I could hear the blow dryer as if it were in our room. I could also hear the hangers sliding back and forth on the rack. The family was rude but unfortunately their noise made it obvious that the walls were paper thin.Three stars seemed not enough, four stars seems like too much.

"clean and fresh "
Paul H, 01 Août 2017

Stayed here for two nights when in transit with out 7 year old daughter. We stayed in a standard room (412) good sized room and bathroom had a huge shower and a deep bath tub. great water pressure and black out curtains. This hotel looks recently renovated. Clean and tidy. They even offer a smart mobile phone in your room for use around Rome. We didn't need one but great idea. In room air dryer but professional dryer and hair straightening units available from reception. Lots of shampoos and consumables in the bath room. Breakfast was included in our fare and as previous comments they could replenish items a little quicker, fair selection and pastries and cakes were good. Bar offers complimentary snacks, crisps chips and pretzels. Also had caviar and salmon one afternoon. Hop on hop off but across the road, main train station 5 min walk. We were Not disturbed by any road noise. Cabs from air port to this hotel were fixed at 48€ Extra towels blankets and little things you may have forgot are all available complimentary at reception. We were recommend to stay here by our travel agent in Australia and he has used this hotel for lots of his clients. We would happily stay again.

"Comfortable beds!"
P4534ZHsusanh, 01 Août 2017

After a long hot day walking the streets of Rome, it was a real treat to relax in the ultra modern rooms at this hotel. The bed was so extremely comfortable! The room was large and had a balcony overlooking the city of Rome (7th floor). Very nice. The room was large enough for the king bed plus one extra fold out bed.

"Termini Time"
Ruben M, 31 Juillet 2017

This hotel was a luck of the draw since I have never been to Rome. Ok maybe you can get a fancier place to stay and pay a higher price. But folks let me tell ya....this is a gem. When it comes to saving money, there's no other hotel better! Save money how you ask? Well TERMINI is right next door! Buses (Public and Private Tour buses), Trains, the METRO! All these modes of transportation can save you on Taxies. I prefer the Metro to get around Rome...easy to buy tickets and to learn. A and B routes start early and run late. Back to Santina, good comfortable rooms staff is top professionals... Fabrico desk clerk is a real good guy who will help you with anything.... The bartender...Marenlla (Forgive me for misspelled name) the wife and I know that this hotel is lucky to have you working here! Your a wonderful person who took that extra care to make us feel at home ...Molto Milli Salute! Gonna miss the service...You are right up there with the bartender Pedro in Puerto Vallarta! Ok folks that's it...stay here.... enough said!

"One night in Rome"
walterv292, 29 Juillet 2017

Well we were scheduled to stay at another property but got sent here instead. It worked out due to the staff being very helpful. Room was very nice and way above our expectations. They gave us a great dinner recommendation and helped us book a car for our 4am trip to the airport. Only issue I had was with night desk guy who it looked like we woke up when checking out at 4am. He pretty much grumbled the whole time. Other than that I would for sure stay here again. The location was great for us to navigate our post cruise one night stay. Termini right across street and hop on hop off busses are all right there.

"Not impressed"
vam518, 26 Juillet 2017

Came to Rome for two nights prior to going to the Amalfi coast. Staff was not friendly at all, rooms were okay. Close to train station which made it convenient to get train to Amalfi coast. Servers in restaurant were not helpful and overwhelmed with trying to keep the buffet stocked with food. Overall was not a good experience. Would not stay here again.

"Perfect location roma termini"
Wasielah, 26 Juillet 2017

The hotel is located 2min from the train station and bus terminus. And within walking distance of historical sites. Hop on hop off bus is directly opposite the hotel. More pros: free WiFi, excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and very fresh bread and croissant and cakes and and ..... Rooms were non smoking and the restaurant serve lunch and dinner. Very helpful staff. Coffee making facilities. Safe. Fridge. Again very professional and helpful staff. our flight was early morning and we even had a takeaway breakfast option and was allowed to have our breakfast earlier than normal.. There was also a mobile phone that we could use to help on our way around the city(but very expensive if it breaks be careful) highly recommended. Cons: on the first day there was fresh orange juice and after that yucky ones. Why? we were so happy to find one hotel out of the 17 we stayed at in Italy during our vacation that provided proper orange juice. Still highly recommended. Just note that the city taxes are in addition to the hotel bill, but it's like that throughout Italy. If you consider that the taxes are to be added the the price for the room is a bit on the high side

"Great place "
Aline S, 26 Juillet 2017

Great hotel, friendly concierge and very helpful employees. If you plan on staying here get the bigger size room since the rooms tend to be small. The rooms are clean, modern and updated. The shower could use some sort of update since the shower head doesn't really stay in place and water ends up going outside the tub; but it's not a huge issue. Their breakfast was great for 3 euro per person. It's walking distance from Treni station which makes it super convenient if you are visiting other cities. We walked to many places including colosseum which was only 20 min away. Concierge was also helpful in booking private driver for us to airport and etc. don't bother with taxis, they are only 2 euros cheaper and unprofessional. Extra Tip: Avoid the bakery shop on the right down the street. Do not be tempted at all. Their bakery is gross, old and rude customer service. Best part is they only take cash and 5 Euro per cookie.

"Great stay"
familyfromatlanta_10, 25 Juillet 2017

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in July. The hotel employees were all very pleasant. Our room was very clean. The room cleanliness was far superior to most hotels were we've stayed. There is also free Wi-Fi. Each day, when we returned from sightseeing the room and bathroom had been refreshed, which included replenishing towels, wash cloths, tissue, soap, etc... This was always so appreciated after long days out in heat. The hotel is very convenient to Termini, which has a supermarket and several shops and restaurants. The walk to Termini is only two-three minutes. There are also several places to eat and places to buy souvenirs within a very short walking distance of the hotel. One day, we walked from the hotel to the Spanish Steps and then on to Trevi Fountain. If you plan to walk, it took us about 25 min with an eight year old. Be sure if you are going during summer, wear your visor/hat and carry bottled water as these items will be needed for the heat. If you decide to take cabs, the fare was usually far less than 10 euros to most locations. The hotel is very nice and quaint. Not too large and not too small. The rooms are a very good size. We had the equivalent of a double bed and then a small couch bed for our eight year old. It was the perfect size for a child and it was great that she had her own sleeping area. You can even change some of the colors of the lighting in the room, which our daughter found fascinating. And, just remember, keep your door card inside the card slot on the wall once you enter the room to keep the lights on. You'll understand when you enter the room. I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and convenience particularly if you are going to be taking several train trips to other cities. Give the Best Western Premier Royal Santina a try, you will be very happy with your stay.

"A nice surprise "
mazb19, 23 Juillet 2017

Last time we stayed in Rome we were at the cavalieri Hilton which was great and was somewhat dreading staying at the best western for one night. Chosen due to its proximity to termini The hotel has turned out to be amazing. Ultra modern, very friendly and accommodating, big rooms (we were in 502) amazing shower etc. Oh the amenities were really nice too. We were able to extend our check out to 6pm for a reasonable charge. Next time I think there is a good chance we will be coming back here.

"Great hotel, fantastic location"
Irene M, 20 Juillet 2017

So close to Termini and across the street from the hop on, hop off bus pickup point, it's location is perfect. Large, airy and clean room on fifth floor. Overlooking road but still quiet. Extensive breakfast buffet at only €3 was very good. Helpful, friendly staff particularly the blonde lady supervising breakfasts. If we come back to Rome, fingers crossed, would definitely chose this hotel again!

"Very close to Roma Termini and decent size rooms"
tenshi123, 20 Juillet 2017

We picked this hotel due to location and I'm glad we did. This hotel is sooo close to Termini and it makes a huge difference when you're running for trains! Room itself is a good decent size. No issue with anything. Breakfast you have to pay a small 3 EURO from memory. Food selection was OK but I only ate once, in a rush too. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time due to location and room size. It is also has a modern furnishing with cool lights. Bathroom is fine too.

"Great location and great room "
Kim B, 18 Juillet 2017

We arrived in Rome and caught the bus from the airport to the Roma termini and walked to the hotel from the station. Such a short walk and made it so much easier than having to get further transport. Check in staff were lovely and helpful. Room was very modern, neat and tidy and a great size. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was great at only 3euro each. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

"Modern hotel in good location"
dsmullen, 16 Juillet 2017

I was part of a group booking which originally was meant to be staying at a different hotel and I was certainly very happy that our group booking was moved to this hotel as our original hotel couldn't accommodate us. The rooms were spacious for a city hotel in Rome, very clean and modern. The staff were pleasant and very helpful and efficient if you needed anything. The hotel was in a great location right next to Termini station and the hop on, hop off buses so great for planning sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

"Great location"
holidaymaker529, 12 Juillet 2017

Great value breakfast and excellent location near termini. Only down side was tax added to bill at end of stay - worked out at extra 6 euros per person per night so if you are staying a few nights this adds quite a bit to your account t

"Modern Downtown Rome Hotel!!"
D6348ZVmatthews, 12 Juillet 2017

The Royal Santina is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Rome. This modern hotel with an INCREDIBLE hotel staff was a great choice. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we were taken back by the attention to our needs. The entire front desk staff went above and beyond our expectations. There are 5 in our family and we had 2 rooms. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed a total of 4 nights and when we return...we will stay there. The Royal Santina sits next to Termini Station and is in the middle of all the action. We were able to walk or take a taxi from the hotel to the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, etc. Also, there is a lot of great food close to the hotel. If you are headed to Rome this is an excellent choice.

"Cruise line chosen hotel"
Mary Ann E, 10 Juillet 2017

The lobby of the hotel on first impression felt like a bus terminal. There were so many people there waiting for transport to cruise ships and info tables to accommodate them, as well as so much luggage! The staff was very helpful through our overnight stay. The hotel was closed to restaurants and some shopping, close enough to some attractions to walk. The room had a sleek European feel, with curved angles and fixtures. The keypad to get in the room was industrial. The room was adequate, large bathroom with nice amenitities, either new or recently remodeled bath with large shower, tub, bidet, and stool. The fixtures had lights behind that you could set to white, red, blue, or green. A little funky. There was also a mobile phone to use, so in the city, you could use it! Interesting concept! The provided breakfast seemed nice on concept, but the pastries tasted like day old, the eggs were so loose, and the fruit was canned. It just was not that great.

"Excellent location with a good breakfast at great value!"
Jaya I, 09 Juillet 2017

The hotel is only a few minutes away from Roma Termini, the transport hub. Nice location, safe. Room was clean and modern, though with some dated flourishes to the decor. As another reviewer mentioned, the window was left open by the cleaners presumably, so was very hot when we returned at the end of the day; it had been 35 degree C in Rome. However, they sent someone to close the window and check the air con as soon as we informed reception. Breakfast cost only 3 euros, but it was a great spread with huge choice. This was probably the best feature of the hotel. The food was not exceptional, but very much satisfactory. The staff were helpful, allowed us to have breakfast earlier then the usual opening time, on a day when we had to leave very early for a booked tour.

"Very close to Termini Station but a bit overpriced"
chankyeric, 07 Juillet 2017

The hotel is a bit overpriced. The best is the hotel is very close to Termini station, just cross the road and turn left within 2-3 minutes. This is our second time in Rome, and we like the area which seems to be much safer and quieter than the other side of the terminal. On the contrary, less shops and restaurants nearby but we still prefer. We are a family of 3 and stayed 2 nights in a triple room with 2 singles and a sofa-bed. The room size is adequate but still need to squeeze a bit for 2 suitcases. The room looks modern and stylish but seems to be dated which need renovation within few more years. The bed is comfortable and have some choices for the pillow, and we do have a good sleep. The bathroom is large with both bathtub and shower room, however, the bathtub is just separated by a frosted glass wall but still can see through. It can be nice to a couple but not good to a family. We use the shower room instead with good water pressure, but water leaks out to the bathroom and we have to be very careful when taking shower. The hotel staff is polite but a bit cool and not sincere. We need to pay 3 euros each for the breakfast as not included in the room rate, it is fine with quite some choices but not very delicious. Overall experience is just in average considering the price and conditions of the room. Only will consider to stay again with a lower price.

"Great location"
Cheryl810, 21 Juin 2017

Stayed 4 nights with a friend and must say the location is terrific being only 2 mins walk to Rome Termini station so it makes it very convenient to move/get around. Internet speed is really good and it is kept clean. Room was spacious enough for 2. The kettle and tea/coffee was kept in the wardrobe next to the safe! However the shower over the bath tub is not great (hence not disabled or elderly friendly) as water tends to splash everywhere. The shower gel provided smells like a disinfectant and no hair conditioner is provided; so not a fan. The housekeeping on the 3rd day was utterly disapponting as they left the window was left open (hence the room was oven hot when I came back) and rubbish (as photographed above) was not cleared away. The bin in the bathroom was also broken (not by us as it was fine when we left in the morning) and not replaced. Staff is friendly and helpful so that was nice. The hotel seems popular with tour groups as we saw a few whilst here

"Amazing place close to Roma Termini Station"
Rajreviews, 19 Juin 2017

This place is centrally located to the roma termini station. Most of the tour buses operate from the front of the hotel. The hotel offers wonderful breakfast and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Hotel arranged through Royal Caribbean. Location is excellent- very close to Rome Termini station (less than 5 min walk) which is a simple train ride from airport. Spacious and clean room, fast Wifi. Excellent shower! Breakfast was good and nice range. We had an issue with our transfer to the port and staff were very helpful and polite. Would recommend.

"Great location and accommodation "
Paoletta1111, 17 Juin 2017

I stayed in a triple room which was very large and modern, both room and bathroom. Wonderful position near Termini Station and cosy for city centre. Un front of the hotel there is a red bus station for hop on hop off city sightseeing tour. Rich breakfast.

"Great Hotel in Rome"
jaysS6281QR, 13 Juin 2017

This was a great hotel right near the train station. The room was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was good with a good many choices. Most of the staff was helpful.

"Group of 60 people"
firstholidaytravel, 29 Mai 2017

I booked the BWP Royal Santina for a group of 60 tour members for two nights pre- stay in Rome. The bookings were handled immaculately inspite of variations in dates and room occupancy. The hotel is ideally located, five minutes walking from the Termini Roma and all sightseeing tours begin and end literally at its doorstep. Rooms have been recently refurbished with no amenities lacking. Good buffet breakfast service. Highly recommended for group or individual travel.

"Nice location, convenient for business"
Wael Y, 27 Mai 2017

Went for a 2 days business meeting, rooms are modern and chic, you can find what you need in the hotel. They are offering a nice service with a samsung phone that you can use during your stay (Didn't get the chance to use it, so not sure how it works exactly). Breakfast is good, the staff are helpful especially Fabrizia that will greet you every morning and will assist with any needs you have. Thank you again for all the help Fabrizia. The elevators are slow, there is a smoking area in the first floor, nice place to stay in general.

"Good location !"
Binawaqar, 26 Mai 2017

Stayed in Royal Santina for two nights. Overall good experience. Best part is easy connections to rest of the city. Red bus stop right opposite hotel. Great option for tourists not familiar with the city. Breakfast is fine. Room size is ok. Mood lighting in the room is fun. Reason for 3 star rating is unhelpful & snooty attitude of a couple of staff members and a really dirty toilet on ground floor.

"Excellent location for travellers"
JN461, 23 Mai 2017

The hotel is bright and modern. Rooms are smaller but clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located right next to the train station so we weren't sure what to expect. It was perfect as we were coming and going. If your intent is to stay longer than a few days and visit all the historical sites in Rome, it's a bit of a walk. We enjoy walking but it's a good 25-30 minutes to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc. That said, the hotel is very good about getting a cab quickly for you.

"The Restaurant!"
Nilakshi2015, 20 Mai 2017

We had a lunch at this restaurant with a group during our Rome visit. The supplier had arranged us a fixed menu and it was quite good, not so fancy and expensive. It was a very simple Lunch and tasty one. The restaurant is a good and clean one.

"Bright clean modern hotel"
Lambo62, 16 Mai 2017

We were only able to stay one night as a stop over before catching our flight home to Toronto, and were very impressed with this hotel. Super close to the train station which we wanted, good selection at the very moderately priced breakfast. The rooms was clean and bright, and a great bathroom. We went for a nice walk and were at the Trevi fountain before we knew it. I would recommend.

"Travellers"
Maxy2605, 11 Mai 2017

excellent location to train station but can easily access by turning right from the platforms go out into the street cross over and turn left 50 metres rather than exit station and cross cobbled footpaths. Room clean checking very easy, breakfast suitable close to restaurants. Bathrooms have seperate toilet, bit noisy is other person still sleeping for showers as only glass partitions.Shower over bath bit of a challenge if older.

"Great Stay and Great Staff"
RimTripoli, 09 Mai 2017

Stayed for 3 nights in a triple room with my girlfriends. Fabrizio at the main desk was extremely helpful and made our stay very comfortable. We were given a junior suite on an upper level with a great view of Rome. Hotel is conveniently located near train station. Rooms are very clean and spacious. And breakfast was very rich with helpful staff. Will come back again!

"Great little hotel"
G_Girl17, 07 Mai 2017

Stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't be happier with the cleanliness, and very friendly and informative staff. The rooms are well laid out and the shower is a pleasure after a long haul flight. Right near the Roma Termini and hop on hop off bus right at front door. Breakfast is plentiful and a good variety of hot and cold foods. Had dinner and was very pleasantly suprised with food and wine / cocktail choices. Would love to thank Fredrica C who was a fantastic hostess for our evening meals - she went over and above to make us feel relaxed and entertained. Would definitely recommend this little gem.

"Outstanding Hotel and Location prior to cruise"
DSS55, 24 Avril 2017

Hotel is very modern / clean and for 3 EURO each includes breakfast. We used this hotel prior to embarking on cruise. The location is near the train station in a very nice area. Basically we walked with our luggage from the Main Termini Train Station to this hotel when arriving in Rome. To visit the the city we used the metro and buses that are very close to this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Great hotel let down by a few things in bedroom"
needaholiday726, 22 Avril 2017

This hotel is ideally situated for a sight seeing holiday in Rome being just a few minutes walk from the Termini (main railway station). Our room faced out towards the station and was surprisingly quiet. We only heard sirens and a church bell that wakes the city at 7am! The rooms and hotel are modern and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room is a good size. Black out curtains means you get a good sleep. There is a mini bar but there is a bit of room to chill your own drink or packet food as well. A couple of features let the room down - very high rails in the wardrobe (see photo, hubby is 6'3") with two tiny drawers on floor level. That was it for storage and for a 5 day stay that was disappointing. The bathroom lacked a shelf or similar too. The sinks are trendy but not practical and water goes all over the surface you would think is for putting your wash bag. The big shower is great but ours leaked. Not sure if that was a design flaw too or just our room. But, now to the real positives. Breakfast and service. Breakfast is just 3 Euros per person. Bargain! Tea, coffee, juices, yogurts, cereals, cakes/pastries, fresh fruit, bread/toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs (scrambled and boiled). I expect I've forgotten something too but 3 euros?! Brilliant!! have some dietary issues which means I have to limit wheat and lactose. The hotel offers gluten free Schar products (individually sealed) plus brings a heated gluten free roll. Just ask as they are not put out as standard. Lactose free milk and yogurt is also provided as well as Soy milk. A special mention must be made of Patrizia who was on breakfast duty. She brought me my extra food supplies on day one and remembered me each day after that. A really lovely and helpful lady. After check out they held our cases for us so we could enjoy our last day of sightseeing. Over all I would stay again but would take a hanging organiser for the bathroom.

"Great little hotel"
Jane H, 16 Avril 2017

Stayed for just two nights in room 714 - one of the mini suites with a balcony. Room was modern, very clean and well furnished, very comfortable bed and the balcony was a great size. I had a few problems with the TV, safe and lighting (problems were mine and not the equipment) and each time I rang for help it arrived within minutes. The hotel provides a Nokia phone in each room for guests use while in Rome - free international and local calls, apps for finding restaurants, details of all attractions and a super handy button 'take me back to the hotel' which gives you all you need to know to walk your way back. A fantastic idea which we made full use of - I hope more hotels will do this. Breakfast was so-so. I asked if we could have the room beyond the normal 11am check out. No problem - we were able to have it until 2pm at no extra charge. The hotel is super convenient for the HOHO - the stop is right outside the hotel. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the two nights I spent here and would heartily recommend it. I will definitely use it again when I'm next lucky enough to be in Rome.

"Stylish, well positioned, but noisy."
Northdowns, 14 Avril 2017

We stopped for two nights following a cruise. The hotel is very modern and stylish. The rooms are in the same modern style with a large comfortable bed. The bedroom has mood lighting, but lacks draw storage. The main criticism is the level of noise in the room; we could hear doors banging throughout the night. The bathroom was large with a bath and separate rainfall shower, but lacked any selves for storage. Breakfast was a good continental buffet, with a wide selection of pastries. Tea spoons were in short supply on both morning. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. There is a small bar area next to the lobby, and drinks are not expensive and always come with snacks. The hotel is positioned opposite to the railway station, and the open-top, hop-on, hop-off bus stops directly outside, a great way to get your bearings and reach some of the major sites. The hotel also provides a free to use smart phone with free calls and useful tourist information and guide apps.

"Helpful Staff, Great Location"
hanc442, 13 Avril 2017

We had a 2 night-stay with the hotel. The room was actually a bit small and the bed was not comfortable. We booked a king sized bed room but the bed was actually made from two twin bed mattresses packed together. So the center part of the bed had a gap in it and we just couldn't sleep at all. Apart from that, the location was great. Literally 5 mins walk or less from the train station to the hotel and there is an airport shuttle bus stop just in front of the hotel. A lot of restaurants inside the station and around. Another thing that was great about this hotel was that staff were helpful in helping us find back the lost item in the room after we checked out. We left a hat inside the room and the staff was very help in finding the item for us and sending us the item back to Hong Kong! Would like to thank Stefania Grande, the Fo Manager in assisting us on this issue. Thank you!

"BEST WESTERN Premier Hotel Royal Santina Location"
moncapu, 09 Avril 2017

Transportation : 1) The hotel is located 300m from Roma Termini station. The main public bus station is just behind the train station. 2) In front of the hotel, there is a stop for the city sight seeing hop on and hop off bus. 3) Opposite the hotel there is a bus that go directly to Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) , it takes around 60 minutes Eatery: 1) there are many small eatery places around the hotel and also a small super market.

"We WILL return"
AlanP00le, 05 Avril 2017

For us this hotel has it all - a great location, a comfortable (if a bit small) room with a great shower, extremely friendly and helpful staff (all of them) and a fabulous breakfast - OK you did have to pay for the breakfast - but at 3€ its a bargain. It is very close to the Termini - which itself is very easy to get to from the main Rome airport. One tip - rather than leaving the termini from the front to get to the hotel leave from the Via Marsala exit - the hotel is on the Via Marsala. If ever in Rome again we will use this hotel - no question

"Gluten free heaven"
bowler305, 30 Mars 2017

Great hotel. Central location. Very helpful staff at breakfast. I am coeliac, gluten and dairy free. No problem at the hotel. They had soya milk, crackers, biscuits, muesli and cake. They also remembered me every morning. Also room service had some gluten free options. This made our stay so much better not having to worry about my food. Big thank you from me.

"Excellent Location & world class service"
Suprio2k, 30 Mars 2017

The location of the hotel makes it special for all tourists and business travellers. Located next to Roma Termini station, the hotel offers good cozy rooms and gives you nice feeling. I stayed there for 2 nights on a business cum leisure trip. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the hotel staffs are very friendly. For any tourist I believe this will be an ultimate choice of hotel staying at Rome. Since it is a business hotel, there is only one restaurant at this hotel but have the best services around.

"Great Hotel"
Bailey N, 28 Mars 2017

Very nice hotel, and very central. Right across the road from Termini Station, and the hop off hop off busses stop 1 is directly out the front. Breakfast is cheap and good, and the restaurant make delicious food for reasonable prices. Rooms are very nice, and recently updated by the looks. Staff excellent and speak English. Only downfall is that they do not advise of the city tax, meaning most things to pay for, is changed a tax. Each mini bar item values at €2.50 had a €6.00 tax added when leaving.

"Worst Service Ever"
Karim F, 27 Novembre 2016

Very bad cleaning service..bathroom left without soap..wouldnt recommend this to anyone even though i usually like Best Western........i would not come back to this hotel !!!! And even after we notified the reception they took more than 2 hours to attempt fixing those issues..terrible service.

"Excellent location, friendly staff"
Stefanija M, 15 Novembre 2016

The hotel has an ideal location, right next to the Termini station. It is a good value for money. I stayed there for 4 nights and had a great experience. The rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast was lovely with an excellent choice of food variety.

"Unremarkable, but convenient"
KhrystynaW, 06 Novembre 2016

We don't know any Italian, and the staff were mostly able to assist us in English. The room was kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff daily. We were a little disappointed to be looking at a square of other hotel windows from our room, and thought we would get a view of the city (I know, you shouldn't assume!). Restaurant: The breakfast offering was basic, but adequate, and the dinner menu offers few choices, but the food was ok. We would recommend this as a business hotel, or for people who aren't keen on calling their hotel room their home away from home, but prefer instead to concentrate on being away from their room, using it only to sleep. It wasn't very romantic at all. The walls are very thin, and you can expect to hear a lot from the rooms around you. Having said that, the ambilight feature was really good, and we loved 'mood lighting' between white, green, red and blue.

"Great Location, Nice Hotel"
travelnatics, 31 Octobre 2016

We stayed here for 7 nights, booked king room (614). The Bathroom is so clean, everything is so clean. Not happy about the Bed because they put twin bed together just to make like a king bed. Requested for Utensils and took 30 minutes, we called them again as the attendant placed in to a wrong room. so we decided to get from their restaurant. But everything went smooth and fine. :)

"Undecided"
H-travels, 29 Octobre 2016

To be honest I'm a little undecided about this hotel, we really enjoyed our stay (so will give it 4 stars) but if a friend of mine was looking for a hotel recommendation I'm not sure I'd tell them to stay here. Our room was lovely and large and modern. We stayed in a suite which had a decked terrace looking out over the Rome rooftops. I'm sure this is quite unique in Rome. The rooms were nicely designed and immaculately clean. The hotel is very conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Termini which makes the trip from the airport an absolute breeze. The staff were nice and helpful. But the reasons I wouldn't recommend are as follows. I think for a weekend break to Rome that the hotel is not quite central enough. Yes it's near Termini and therefore an underground station but Rome does not have many underground stops so a lot of walking is still required. This is especially noticeable at the end of a day when you're exhausted and just want to be back at your hotel. Breakfast for €3 is ridiculously cheap but the selection and quality is quite poor. After the first morning we didn't bother again. We usually like the convenience of eating breakfast at our hotel so would have been happy to pay a lot more for a better offering. To be fair to the hotel though I can see that €3 for breakfast of any standard in Rome is a good price. Noise - We were there for 3 nights and each night was the same. Police/ambulance sirens throughout the night and then at 7am every morning the nearby Basilica bells ringing. Both of these were VERY loud. I appreciate they are out of the hotels control but I think better soundproofed glass is needed. Tip: For an authentic evening meal go to Rifugio Romano a few minutes away. Turn right out of the hotel, over the crossing and it's just on the other side of the road.

"Beautiful Modern Decor"
ralegg, 26 Octobre 2016

Service is excellent beginning at the front desk and throughout the hotel. We stayed there four nights and enjoyed the lovely breakfast every morning and the quick response to any request. The location is excellent for seeing the best of Rome. You have easy access to the Metro and taxi's are always available just outside the front entrance.

"nice place"
yatritravelz, 24 Octobre 2016

One of those few restaurants in the city which still serve you non-vegetarian food even for breakfast, which, to me is a delight ! The parotta and Chicken gravy is good, but the Mutton is even better I've been told.

"Great location, great hotel."
Anthony L, 16 Octobre 2016

We were met by extremely helpful reception staff who spoke perfect English. We booked a superior room which was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, with really good choice. The hotel is ideally located and is across the road from Termini station and also the SIT bus stop for airport transfers, yet it's very quiet. It's only a 20 minute walk to the see the sights... Colosseum, St Peters square, Spanish Steps and even less to the Trevi Fountain. Couldn't fault the hotel and it would be my number one choice if I ever return to Rome.

"Good Central Hotel"
cvh12345, 16 Octobre 2016

Pleased with this hotel that was recommended by work colleague who goes to Rome often. Found it good value for money, rooms are fairly represented by photos, it's a clean modern hotel next to the main train station. Breakfast is ok although not huge choice we also a couple of drinks at the bar and prices were reasonable.

"Very High Standard Hotel"
DNFife, 13 Octobre 2016

The room met all expectations, with hairdryer, minibar ,etc. Extremely handy for transport links with the hop-on ,hop-off bus on doorstop along with shuttle bus for airport. Trevi fountain and Spanish steps were well within walking distance with bus connections to other attractions.

"Elegant and spacious"
ForeignStaffing, 12 Octobre 2016

One night here on business. Very nice bed, bathroom not as nice as Best Western Universo. Right near train station and very accommodating staff. Breakfast was fair. Room was quiet and bed very comfortable.

"Large comfortable rooms near termini station"
Shalini C, 09 Octobre 2016

Rooms were spacious, modern , very clean with all amenities and modern features... good breakfast for $3 only but missed the warm croissants as they served them cold!! Why would they serve it cold in Italy? The breakfast items were refilled rarely and lazily so it would be better to eat earlier.. when i complained they refilled, but grudgingly...nice. Nice coffee options Check in and check out was smooth, left luggage facility and nice big lobby Wouldn't say that this hotel is in the heart of the city.. a bit far from Spanish steps etc but if you are good at walking it would work or take a taxi

"End of cruise delight"
bahama999, 06 Octobre 2016

We stayed here after our celebrity cruise. Rooms slightly small but Perfect location. Nice restaurants near by. Breakfast for €3 was fantastic. Hop on hop off bus right opposite hotel, metro & railway station 5 minutes walk. Would recommend this hotel for visiting city of Rome and would definitely go to this hotel when visiting Rome in future. Had late flight out and hotel were very helpful, and allowed us to keep our room till 6.30pm for a small charge.

"Perfect Way to End "
HootonM61, 02 Octobre 2016

Delicious beds, modern bathrooms, convenient location makes this hotel perfect for your last night in Italy. Brrakfsst is only 3 euros. Three minutes to Termini Station and you're on your way to the airport.

"Unexpected pleasure"
travelingone563, 26 Septembre 2016

Pre-cruise embarkation accommodations arranged through Princess Cruise Line. Several cruise lines use this hotel for passengers wanting pre-cruise stays for touring the area. It's upscale for this chain. Very clean, comfortable. Bi-lingual staff, very accommodating. In-house dining with excellent included breakfast buffet, multiple selections, very tasty, freshly made pastries. Make your own pancakes machine available, too. Also ate dinner here. Had excellent veal marsala with funny faux pas over the wine. Thought we were ordering glasses of Moscato, discovered instead it was pure alcohol, the strength of Ouzo. Bartender graciously exchanged it for a peach bellini instead. Rooms very modern, comfortable. Near Roma Terminal, other dining options.

"Well located."
peter b, 25 Septembre 2016

This hotel is well located to walk into the attractions . Also opposite the railway station with plenty buses around. The hotel is in good shape and the rooms are well set out. Plenty of places to eat out in the locality. The food was reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful.

"Excellent hotel"
Megan S, 20 Septembre 2016

This hotel was close to the station which is exactly what we wanted as we arrived late on the train from Milan. The reception staff that greeted us were friendly, check in was very quick and easy. We got to the room which was a little small but adequate as all were going to do was sleep in it. The bathroom was very stylist and up to date. The shower head was very powerful. The breakfast was lovely, had a great variety of food and drink. The staff throughout our stay were very helpful and friendly. The hotel can provide you with a few essentials free of charge. If they don't have any in reception then someone leaves it in your room for you. This hotel is in a good area as it is about a half hour walk from the colosseum and a 15-20 minute walk from the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Overall an excellent stay, well worth a visit.

"Good Hotel, near train station and bus terminal"
Michael C, 17 Septembre 2016

The hotel was just across the road from the train station and also across the road from the hop on hop off buses terminal. The room was small but very modern and the breakfast was more than adequate. The only thing was that there weren't many good restaurants, mostly tourist ones with the same menu. I would recommend this hotel.

"Rome visit"
Lolita D, 15 Septembre 2016

The hotel was in a good location, being near the termini.excellent shops and restaurant around.Very good rooms and all the facilities.Buses and metro are just round the corner, very convenient to commute.

"Nice hotel, central"
GregW4033, 12 Septembre 2016

Very clean and modern business type hotel. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Small wardrobe if you were on a long stay here. Staff friendly. The city sightseeing bus stops directly outside and is a wonderful way of getting around the city for €20 a person per day. Hop on and off. Good breakfast

"Average! "
leey-99, 11 Septembre 2016

the room was clean but too much little, we got room without door in the shower, The tools in the breakfast was horrible ,the plate and the cup was so dirty and repulsive To eat from this , with leftovers of eggs and oil !no clean! Most of the stuff not lovely . The hotel near "termini" .

"Very good location by train station and bus tours"
Billy H, 11 Septembre 2016

This hotel is very central . The premier double rooms are excellent with fridge and tea coffee making facilities along with safe. Rooms clean and very well laid out. Had a view over looking front on main road. No problem with noise. Air con was very nice addition. Good wi if no problems with connection. Breakfast was 3 euros each.... But the available spread was excellent value....You won't go Hungary....excellent stay!!!

"Good hotel and platform for discovering Rome"
CBalan, 05 Septembre 2016

- located near the Termini railway station and underground transport, - in a very high class neighborhood, with embassies and ministries, - near and at walkable distances to most points of interest, - four stars, clean, good free wifi, rich but monotone breakfast, nice staff, large enough bathroom

"It was perfect except one thing!"
falin957, 03 Septembre 2016

Everything was perfect except one thing, we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and two times when we were coming back to hotel at 4 PM for resting, our room was not yet cleaned and the towels were not changed, so I had to go to reception to ask for it. Then we had to wait in the lobby during the cleaning time instead of resting in our scheduled resting time. The breakfast was great. There is some noise from the corridor.

"Great Location"
Kimberly H, 30 Août 2016

One of the best things about this hotel is the location. Quite easy to do a great deal by foot from this spot. We didn't take the train, but the station is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. The rooms were very clean and have this fun uplighting that you could manipulate the color. Sounds silly but made it fun. More modern that one would expect. The dining options at the hotel were a little spotty but there were incredible dining locations within a couple of blocks from the hotel as well. Very helpful staff who were extremely fluent in English. If returning on a budget, I'd certainly pick this hotel again.

"Very good position"
Is-frederiksberg, 26 Août 2016

Very nice small rooms clean with nice blue lights . Very good position in the center of rom . So u are in the middle of everything .Very good breakfast . Very good service . The price was ok for the quilty . I will be back for sure .High recommended .

"Good location for train station."
GingerRose63, 24 Août 2016

Clean modern hitel within very short walk to train staion. Double glazing and good aircon. Had a bath in the bathroom which was nice. Staff friendly and very helpful with any request. Breakfast included in our room, quite nice to start the day, very nice fresh fruit salad. Rooms cosy but functional. Restaurant onsite or food within walking distance. Bed extremely comfortable.

"Good Modern Hotel close to railway station"
Staffsmartin, 23 Août 2016

Very friendly modern hotel situated within a few minutes walk of the Railway Station and Metro. The hotel is very modern but comfortable and the room was well equipped, very clean and had a nice shower room. Breakfast was a typical buffet affair and was good value. It is a great location to use as a base and we would stay there again. Also, the bus service to both airports pick up from right outside.

"Convenient location"
Cyril S, 22 Août 2016

A very central location and near Termini Station. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were adequate, but we did not spend much time there as we were sightseeing, most of the day. Breakfast was more than adequate, with a wide selection. For a short trip this is a good hotel in a very central location. Cannot recommend it enough

"Came here for partners birthday"
Hotelinspector121, 14 Août 2016

Lovely hotel in a lovely city. The rooms are nice and a good size for a European city! Location just near the train station is great (a bit further down the street there is homeless people but no need to go down there!) all staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for us!

"Very convenient location"
Caz781, 11 Août 2016

This is our second visit to this hotel.its great for location to metro and Termini. The staff are polite and helpful. There are no offers of porters.not that we need them. Check in was simple. The rooms are clean, pleasant but not big. The towel are nice and big. Shampoo is supplied but no conditioner. No complimentary water but tap water is fine.Breakfast was included. Completely serif serve with a good selection. Francisco was a very help ful and confident bonus. The area is very mixed but there are heaps of restaurants in the area and a number of sights near bye.

"Comfortable stay near Roma termini"
CBT-12, 06 Août 2016

Stayed at the hotel for one night between arriving and departing on trains from Roma termini. Location was very convenient being 5 minutes walk from the station and hotel was very comfortable, with a good breakfast on offer. We had a little time for sightseeing and and walked to a number of tourist attractions including the Trevi fountain and colosseum which were not far from the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay.

"Excellent site"
Abdul A, 05 Août 2016

Nearby the metro en train station Termini with very good connection to inside and outside Rome. Us station nearby; a lot of important place are nearby. Very good breakfast. We needed to change the room because of bad odor from the bathroom. Good service.

"Very good hotel"
Kartik4, 05 Août 2016

Excellent location, you can walk everywhere in 20 minutes max or take the metro within 5 minutes. Rooms are excellent and very large. Staff are good but not the friendliest. Only negative was that the double bed was just two twin beds pushed together with a mattress topper on the top. In the mornings we always had a gap in the middle and aching backs.

"Enjoyed our stay"
smiley3009, 02 Août 2016

Had a bit of a hiccup when I booked the nearby Best Western Universo hotel only to find there was no electricity in the area when we arrived. They had to relocate us to this hotel which is a few meters away and in my opinion better located. It is opposite Termini station and there is plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff are friendly and provided us a complimentary drink for all the trouble we endured with Universo hotel. Breakfast was great, variety to choose from and the rooms were fairly big and clean. Well worth the stay

"Not worth the money"
135primala, 23 Juillet 2016

We checked in to this hotel on Mid July (booked the hotel in April), we were charged extra 20 euro/per night (normally 50 euro, as the reception say), for additional person/per night, in existing bedding and all other existing amenities.Nothing extra. (for my second son who joined at last moment, and were not able to find another hotel with 4-beds by that time).First night we reported clogged drain, in shower that was reported to reception right away and were neglected by the reception to be fixed in the following day. Second day we had a flood in washroom which made our cloths wet in bags lying nearby.Staff never offered to dry our wet cloths. Other than the location (next to termini station), not worth the money, not worth to deal with unfriendly, negligent staff.

"Fantastic after long flight to Rome"
JO_FNQ, 22 Juillet 2016

We stayed here the first night after arriving in Italy after 28hrs of travelling...the room was fantastic & perfect to get over jet lag. The bed was amazing...so comfortable (the best bed we had on our trip). We also had a lovely big deep bath which was great to soak in after the long flight & the hotel was so close to the train station...just a block away & easy to walk to with suitcases. Plus a wonderful spread for breakfast. Extremely comfortable and convenient.

"Excellent location"
49Sarah, 22 Juillet 2016

We stayed here for two nights and chose this hotel because it was very close to the train station. It was our fifth trip to Rome. The room was small but modern and comfortable. Great shower! Good internet and air-conditioning. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. We caught the bus to the airport and the stop was literally across the street.

"Great hotel"
Oily1966, 19 Juillet 2016

Top hotel very central for everything you want to do in Rome. Train station just a cross the road with excellent taxi driver's. Staff at the hotel very helpful to all your needs and very good english.

very close to roma termini, excellent location, very modern and new room with a reasonable room rate the only thing that needs to improve is the breakfast... not many selections, and breakfast servers are not friendly

"Great location, some not so great staff"
Amy A, 11 Juillet 2016

We stayed at this hotel for 3 night, it is in an excellent location close to the bus/train station (30 minutes direct to the airport). There's lots of nice restaurants, bars and cafes near by and just a short bus or taxi ride to all the main attractions. The hotel is modern and clean, room was spacious and cleaned to a high standard by the friendly maids. Reception staff friendly and welcoming however on initial arrival told us that breakfast was included which turned out NOT to be the case. We also overheard other guests being told the same incorrect information on their arrival. However, Breakfast is only €3 pp each day and worth it for the good selection and variety. Only down side to the breakfast is the incredibly rude staff and the clear up that begins 15 minutes before the end of breakfast. The staff start switching everything off and taking the food away, literally snatching trays away before people get a chance to chose their breakfast. Overall we had a good stay at this hotel, would stay again but wouldn't bother with breakfast.

"Great hotel "
User, 10 Juillet 2016

Fantastic modern hotel in a great location in Rome! Right opposite Termini station and only about a 20minute walk to via del corso. Extremely clean rooms and bathroom. Room offered bath and separate spacious shower. Buffet breakfast is also provided Staff are friendly and helpful

"RUDE STAFF"
David A, 08 Juillet 2016

Hotel is in a great location next to the bus and train station. Rooms nice and clean BUT. We were told we had breakfast included on check in, when we went down the next day they said we had to pay. It's only €3 each but still a bit naughty. We got in for breakfast at 10.15 and when they say they close at 10.30 they're not joking they literally took the plate away while I was getting my food and just pointed at her watch so bloody rude. For £100 a night I expect a hell of a lot more from the staff! You can have a nice hotel but if you don't treat your customers with any respect then it spoils the experience.

"Literally right smack in the middle of everything + included full breakfast :)"
Amber M, 07 Juillet 2016

I was looking for a hotel that was in the middle of the city to make sight seeing a breeze. I wanted something where I could include breakfast (I believe there was a small fee) since I was traveling alone. At first I wasn't sure about this hotel as it was a Best Western but let me assure you this hotel is a fantastic choice. The staff is incredibly helpful and speak excellent English. The rooms are modern, clean and hip. The bathroom and shower were very nice. I have become accustomed to smaller showers with water issue while in Europe. This was the complete opposite. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. There was a huge buffet with both hot and cold offerings. They also had a fantastic coffee machine which was quite the treat! Located across the street from Termini station getting everywhere is incredibly easy. This hotel would be perfect for the business traveler, solo traveler and family travelers as they have larger rooms for families available too!

"Central Location"
Anna M, 05 Juillet 2016

The staff were all very friendly. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very large. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choices, but I found the staff serving in the morning were not so friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, both my husband and I did not enjoy it. For the price paid for the food it should of been better. Overall, I would return there again and again, because of the location and the hotel is beautiful and kept clean. This hotel is in a fantastic location. Across the street from the train station and walking distance to so many places. I recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel near Termini station"
Hermann W, 05 Juillet 2016

We stayed here for one night, before leaving Rome by train. Location of the hotel was perfect for us, because its ony few steps away from Termini station. Hotel staff was friendly and eager to help if needed. We expecially enjoyed the lobbybar, which had nice drinks comfortable aircondition and really friendly bartender. It was nice moment to relax after a walktour around hot Rome. Room was clean and comfortable. It had a nice tv on the wall and aircondition worked fine. We found bit problematic that the wall between bathroom and bedroom was made of glass. So during night time, when someone went to the bathroom, the lights did illuminate the whole room. Our room also had only a bathtub, which is not nice for a person who is used to use walk-in shower. Hotel offered a complimentary breakfast and it was ok. Nothing spectacular alltought.

"One night stay prior to cruise "
Sam G, 27 Juin 2016

Lovely hotel in a great location and handy for those travelling from the cruise terminal. Also close to Termini for those using the train. Hotel staff were friendly, even though it was exceptionally busy with cruise passengers. Great variety at breakfast and all fresh!

"Excellent location and very funky"
Jezzman30, 26 Juin 2016

I stayed here due to the location to the main train terminal. Couldn't say enough about the location especially if you're only planning to stay a short period, it's about 300m away from the exit. Takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to some of the closer tourist spots, closer to 45-1hour if you're walking to the Vatican etc The room was quite nice, very funky with the lighting and the bathroom was near with the waterfall shower head. My only qualm with the place is that I booked a king room and got the usual 2 singles pushed together. Problem was that there was nothing holding them in place, ending up with me sinking into the hole between them (and I'm 6'3 and 100kgs, so not an easy feat). Also very soft mattresses so if like me you have a bad back, probably not the best. Would definitely stay here again, the staff were super helpful and the breakfast (€3) was well worth it.

"Very good location and good value"
steevo86186338, 25 Juin 2016

We stayed here for one night prior to boarding a cruise from CVT , the room was clean and very modern. We didn't like the lighting in the room as it was different colours. The bathroom was nice and had a bath which was novel. Breakfast the next morning was okay, not too bad, could have been more selection of juices as it was limited. Would stay again.

"Great Location"
ohsuzyq10, 22 Juin 2016

My two granddaughters and I stayed at this hotel while in Rome with a tour group. I was concerned when pre-trip info listed a Best Western hotel because I had stayed at a BW in France several years ago and it wasn't too great. Plus BW doesn't have the best reputation in the States but I found no reason to complain after arrival. It's a nice, clean, serviceable hotel with comfortable beds. Breakfast was the usual European fare with meats, cheeses, etc. The location is a huge plus as it's near the Termini, numerous restaurants, and is close enough to walk to many of the major sites. We'd definitely stay there again.

"I made the best choice!"
discodollydiva, 15 Juin 2016

I was only staying in Rome for a day and needed a convenient place to crash before my train left the next morning. Wow - this place was great. The staff were really hospitable and friendly. The air conditioner was nice and cold. The location honestly cannot be beat - I was able to walk to and see the Capuchin crypts, Trevi fountain, Forum and Boca de Veritas and have a nice meal in a restaurant in 5 hours . I would definitely stay here on another visit.

"Updated, clean rooms"
kdcpamba, 07 Juin 2016

This hotel is much better than I had expected. This is a Best Western hotel which does not have the highest reputation in the US so my expectations were low. All my expectations were exceeded. The rooms are very much up to date with modern decor, spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The location close to the termini is convenient if you plan to use the metro or trains. It is within walking distance of the Colosseum if you are an avid walker. It may be a bit far for some.

"Great location ????????????????"
99Diane, 06 Juin 2016

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary . We go to Italy every year . We wanted to stay by the train station for further travel to Amalfi. Hotel Royal Santina will get a B+ . The room was clean , service was great, THANKYOU Francesca at the bar for making nice little treats ??. The bed was comfortable and quiet . The only complaint was the shower did not work properly . We would stay again if we needed a place to stay by the terminal.

"Modern hotel right next to the train station"
goingreen13, 06 Juin 2016

The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to the Termini station. We only stayed in this hotel for one night, and wished we had stayed for more. The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful, and as an added bonus, we were even given a free upgrade when we shared with them that we were on our honeymoon.

"50th Birthday Present to self"
Denise W, 23 Mai 2016

Overall, this hotel was a little small. The employee's that worked there was pretty nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty okay. I must admit, the bathroom was a nice size. However, that shower and sink they had was a bit troublesome. Water would get all over the floor, the shower came down from the ceiling, the water would be everywhere. The sink drained a little bit to slow. The breakfast they served the guest was just okay. Overall, it was just okay.

"Perfect for our first visit to Rome"
Angela K, 21 Mai 2016

This was our first visit to Rome. Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit concerned about room size, whether the beds would be suitable (mobility issues), whether the breakfast would be a disappointment, whether the staff would be unhelpful.. I needn't have worried. Ok, we may not be seasoned travellers, but we know when something is good and this was very good indeed. Spotlessly clean (a big thumbs up to the housekeeping staff, always smiling and always a friendly "ciao" when we passed them), room temperature was just fine and the beds were so comfy, we both slept like the proverbial logs. The mood lighting is lovely too. Our room overlooked the entrance to the hotel and admittedly, it was noisy when the window was open wide but then again, this is Rome! The traffic is part of what Rome is known for, so if you expect perfect peace, then why stay so close to the Termini? When the window was closed, most of the noise was cut out, I'm a light sleeper and wasn't disturbed. Breakfast was lovely, with a very wide choice of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, pancakes, cold meats and cheeses, salads, absolutely beautifully cooked creamy scrambled eggs, thinly sliced bacon, smoked sausage, cakes - and thank you to the lovely lady who brought our coffees to our table after seeing my husband had walking difficulty. Reception staff were very helpful, tracking down the bus routes for us, and where to find them. Termini is a few minutes walk away, so it is easy to get around, even for those with a level of mobility issues. The only downside, and I'm hard pressed to find one) is that the bathroom can be a bit dangerous, the shower can splash over the top and the tiles can get slippery - this is maybe something the hotel could think about. All in all, a wonderful holiday. This hotel is certainly one we will come back to.

"A skip and a step away"
clarita125, 17 Mai 2016

Although I don't really like modern hotels, I have to say that this hotel is really great. The hotel is kept impeccably clean anywhere you go in the hotel, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The room are a decent size and the beds are very comfortable. The location is opposite the bus and train station which makes it easy to pick-up snacks and drinks if you want to relax in your room between tours. You can easily walk to any site if you generally walk every day, if not, the subway, bus or train is next door. I would have no problems recommending this hotel to anyone.

"Trendy hotel in the city centre..."
Glenn M, 16 Mai 2016

This is a trendy hotel in the city centre very close to Rome's big central station. You can also easily walk from the hotel into the city centre with all the beautiful historical buildings. The interior is very trendy, modern and clean. I found the service in the hotel - especially in the buffet area - poor. I found their attitude reactive and uninterested instead of being pro-active and customer-friendly. For the rest I enjoyed my stay very much.

"40th birthday trip"
Jude_Jenks, 11 Mai 2016

Great place to stay. Easy access to alleged buses and underground. The underground is so easy to use and understand. Easy place to commute from and saw all the usual your is spots. Clean and tidy with a lovely continental breakfast. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance.

"great location"
croll2, 08 Mai 2016

My Wife and I stayed here on the last part of our last trip to Europe. The hotel is centrally located, just beside the train station. The staff are very friendly and suggested great place to eat. The rooms are clean and modern the only thing is there is not a lot of counter space in the bathrooms. I would stay here again.

"Rome"
Y5368GAaliceb, 06 Mai 2016

Fantastic hotel positioned in centre of Rome great for walking or hop on off bus route number of resturant within easy walking distance for the romantic night time meal good varied breakfast selection

"Great location"
catherinesB6364XQ, 04 Mai 2016

Nice hotel, close to the train and bus stations. Free wi-fi, just ask at reception for the code. Mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities in the room were nice after long days sightseeing. Got room service one night and the meal was nice and not expensive. The room clean, bright and much larger than expected. The hop on hop off tour buses stop directly opposite the hotel. A great location

"Minimalistic with good location"
Daria M, 02 Mai 2016

Pros- The location is right next to Termini station meaning you can hop on either metro line within 4 minutes. This made getting around Rome super easy and I never had to use any other transportation besides walking. I also makes it impossible to get lost when wondering Rome. Unlike a lot of hotels in Rome this one is more modern which is primarily why I chose the hotel The concierge was really helpful since I had an early check-in. I emailed the day before I was supposed to arrive and told them I would be in by 10. They said if the room wasn't ready I could put luggage behind desk. So imagine my delight when I arrived and they told me my room was ready and I settled in my room within 5 minutes. Cons- You are not really walking distance to any of the sights, but this is cancelled out by being able to hop on metro. The rooms are small and this is to be expected in Europe unless you pay extra for larger size. The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors. Fortunately I only crashed in my room at night so this wasn't an issue. Overall this place is minimalistic. If you plan to take advantage of Rome's easy metro and only plan to be in your room to sleep at night. I would recommend this hotel.

"Brilliant choice!!!"
Helen H, 25 Avril 2016

We spent 5 nights here in February. The location is ideal , right opposite the station, taxis, hop on hop off bus etc. Staff are brilliant and in the evening they will provide snacks with drinks. The Aperol Spritz is gorgeous. Rooms are comfortable and children's bed is an actual bed! Decor is lovely and rooms are well equipped and spacious. Breakfast was lovely with a small selection of hot and cold. Quality not quantity but ideal for us. Pay Babbos restaurant a visit just along the street from the hotel. Fabulous food.

"Good location, great rooms, awful staff"
Carolina H, 25 Avril 2016

I would stay there again because the location is great, walking distance from Termini, easy to get to and to move around the city, the room is fantastic, modern, clean, comfortable with a great size bathroom, which is hard to find in Europe. All the employees with a horrible attitude from the front desk to the restaurant they urgently need customer service training. The breakfast, if not included in you rate, is very affordable and decent. I really recommend this hotel for the location and the rooms. At the end there's no need to talk to the staff at all.

"Everything about this hotel is perfect!"
Jennifer B, 20 Avril 2016

Everything about this hotel was perfect. From the minute we arrived to when we checked out we were impressed. The bus from the airport dropped us right outside the door, we checked in and our room was ready. The staff were more than friendly. I couldn't complement them enough! Our room was so beautiful. We had a view overlooking the street which we loved. The bedroom was the nicest and most impressive I've ever stayed in. The colour scheme was very modern and there was buttons on the wall to change the colours of the lights in the room from blue, red green or white. This was such a lovely touch. The French Bed was beyond comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a separate section for the shower and toilet which meant one could have privacy in there while someone else used the bath and sink. The location of this hotel is so convenient. It's right beside the station where all the trains and buses leave from. It's also within walking distance of all the major tourist sights! We had breakfast in bed one morning which was delivered exactly on time and was very tasty and cheap! This hotel was definitely great value for money. The staff helped us with every possible query we had, they were very helpful! Can't recommend this hotel enough!

"Disappointing. Indifferent hospitality. Staff acts like you are in the train station, which is right down the street."
Stephen A, 17 Avril 2016

The rooms were decent size and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was organized by the same people who set up the traffic pattern for Rome. You have to keep going in circles to find what you need. The message we got was " We don't particularly like Americans but we do like their money." The name could be changed from Best Western, to Ought to be Better Western. Don't not ask for help unless you want to be sniffed at.

"Great location"
travelisgreat, 12 Avril 2016

This hotel is just down the street from the main tain station in Rome giving you great flexibility to see the whole city. The room size was average. We had a room which overlooked the street but the noise level was ok for sleeping. Breakfast was ok, I have to say that the service on the breakfast was slow. there were many mornings where the eggs were empty the whole time we were there. As a tourist you want to be able to eat when you get there and then leave. The wait staff seemed to ignore you and just do the bear minium. My advise skip breakfast and go down the street to the train station and pick something up.

"Comfortable stay"
G9031XIlindab, 10 Avril 2016

We stayed for 4 nights. Good location just a few minutes walk from the metro located at the Termini train and bus station. Quite a walk into the heart of the city, around 20 minutes, longer walking back as it is up hill. The metro was cheap and easy to use but only takes you to a few locations in the heart of the city. Importantly there is a metro stop from the hotel to the Vatican and also to the Colosseum. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The room was very quiet and the bed excellent, a good night sleep every time. Good sized TV in the room but usually too tired at night to watch for long. Staff were pleasant and very helpful at reception with lots of information about getting around and a free map. Breakfast was mainly continental but lots of choice there were also scrambled eggs, sometimes bacon and sausage pieces. The hot food was okay but we tended to have fresh fruit, yoghurt or cereal. There was always ham, cheese, fresh rolls etc. Overall, a very good base to explore the city from. Rome is fantastic, lots and lots of walking, need really good trainers on!

"In despret need of renovation"
Cholestas, 09 Avril 2016

The hotel is located near the Roma termini metro station (3 mins walk). From there u can quickly get to take a bus or metro to any destination u want, so it gets 5* for location The staff were unfriendly and rude, we arrived there and we were only reminded to pay the city tax, we were not welcomed by the employee who was to busy talking to other colleagues behind the reception desk, when we wanted to check out, the employee hardly spoke English and was also impolite! in the end we wished him a nice weekend :-/ The room was very tiny, double bed was okay (an actual double bed) but not much room for bags or even moving around the room. Under the bed was a huge pile of cabels that looked like it was about to start a fire! Bathroom was clean but really old and needs renovation, bath top was filled with black flecks. The sink was tiny and very unpractical to place belongings around it if ur staying for more than one night, the lighting was very weak in the bathroom and the mirror is far away from person standing in front of it (not practical for make up ladies!!) The mini bar was over filled with huge bottels of water that fell to the floor every time I opened the fridge and no place to cool down ur own beverages. The pillows were okay and comfortable. the possibility to change the lighting colors in the room was actually pointless, the lighting was anyway weak and those different colors did not help at all. Furniture is old and scratched all over. this hotel gets despite all 3* cuz of its location and that we are in Rome and it means it could have been worse -_-

"Beautiful hotel."
Ben C, 09 Avril 2016

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in my entire life, and I've been to a few! Hospitality, comfort, feeling is just perfect. Will be visiting again very soon! It's a bit more go pay than normal but you'll soon see why you don't regret paying it. ??

"Eh"
Maurakwan, 03 Avril 2016

Modern. Small rooms. Small small. AC didn't work. Our room was 90 degrees. The window opened, But it was in the smokers area which just poured into the room, from outside. Several people brought this up in our group and were told to deal with it. We had to steal toilet paper from the main lobby bathroom. The breakfast wasn't very good. It was in a very shady part of town near the train station, full of vagrants and homeless. We did not feel safe even coming home at night. Would not stay again.

"Good, clean, modern"
Shilpa S, 21 Mars 2016

As a solo traveller, I was nervous about choosing a hotel in Rome. I was recommended this hotel by others, and it fit into my budget quite nicely. Situated a stones throw from Roma Termini, my only grouse is that the location of this hotel is not the nicest - as Termini has some rather interesting folk wandering about, especially at night. The hotel is located at Via Marsala, so very easy to find if you get off at Termini. If you're one of those who likes to walk about, then if you go down Via Cavour, within 20 minutes you can reach the Colosseum. As I arrived early, at around 10 am, my room was not ready. So I left my bags at the hotel (they were very accommodating) and went off to see the Colosseum. My room was the economy sized room, so for 1 person it is perfect. It may get cramped for two people. However, the room is well-lit, extremely modern and the bathroom is super clean. It's also equally modern. I'm big on having nice bathrooms so I was pleased with mine. The breakfast starts at 630am which is perfect if you're an early riser, and want to start your day in Rome early - highly advisable. The breakfast spread is decent, with lots of breads, cheese, meat, cakes, cereal, eggs etc. You can get tea, coffee of your choice and fresh juices too. Very satisfying. As smoking is not permitted (for the most part) in hotel rooms, there is a little garden (smoking area) on the first floor) which is lovely in this weather. There is seating and you could order some snacks and beverages there too. The staff is quite helpful, and do guide you when you need it. They are polite and efficient. I'd recommend this hotel to other travelers, but more so if you are travelling with someone... As a solo traveler as much as I love the hotel, I'm not so keen on the area. But, definitely a good hotel with decent pricing. Oh and you have great free wifi too!

"Great location and very clean"
iancarswell, 12 Mars 2016

The location is great and the rooms are spotless but I can't help but feel I could be anywhere In The world as it does lack personality even with the are deco and colored lights. If you want a no rush hotel that will tick all the boxes this is the one

"Great location, clean rooms"
marga315, 10 Mars 2016

Hotel is across the train and bus station, so location is ideal! Room is clean, with wifi just fast enough for me to upload the photos I took during the day. Breakfast buffet was more than sufficient. I would go back!

"Great Location to Train Station"
Wayne S, 08 Mars 2016

Great location for getting round Rome. Close to train, buses and airport transportation. Breakfast option is great but on some mornings it is hard for them to keep on top of restocking. Rooms quiet, comfortable and quaint. No wasted space. Front desk friendly and will provide maps etc. if needed.

"Clean, friendly, large room, friendly staff"
Hannah J, 28 Février 2016

Perfect central location. Modern rooms, massive bathroom. Lovely bar staff! Breakfast was good, could improve on how it is kept warm (the eggs were quite cold). My partner and I would definitely stay here again.

"excellent hotel"
Kishore Kumar S, 27 Février 2016

Very good except for dole bed which is actually two single beds joined together leaving a bump in between hence not good for couples sharing the bed - we didn't complain as otherwise the service was excellent.

"Modern hotel at Rome termini"
Pj C, 27 Février 2016

Stayed here for a week. Nice hotel right next to the termini and bus stop. Modern hotels with mood lighting in the rooms and a nice reasonable mini bar. Flat screen TV and good wifi. Nice bathroom and shower. Staff were helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was good, scrambled egg, hot dogs, bacon, breads & cereal, juices, hit drinks, even rice and tomato sauce! The lunch and dinner menu don't seem to change at all but we didn't eat here so can't comment , lots of nice TA recommended restaurants nearby. Avoid the walk along the termini wall after midnight as lots of homeless on the streets, you would really have no need to be passing it at this time though. The sit airports shuttles bus stop is directly outside the hotel and the perfect means of transport to and from the airport, you can pay on the bus and the timetable is at the stop. Terravision bus only around the corner also. Nice hotel, recommended.

"4 go travelling"
Elaine W, 23 Février 2016

A nice hotel very modern & open plan white interior very close to the terminal, & bus station & close to all major sites all within walking distance excellent breakfast choice room with mini bar & air conditioning nice & quite our room faced an inner court yard good cafe bar just across the street

"Bit of a Marmite Hotel"
Rob W, 15 Février 2016

Stayed 12/02/16 to 15/02/16 as a party of three. Hotel is very well located adjacent to the main Termini station. Convenient for trains, tram and buses as well as limited Metro service. I suspect the hotel was converted from an office building at some point. This shows as bar and restaurant are a bit "odd" and feel like they are not really suited to their current function. Our room was fine. Beds good. Reasonable size. Minibar reasonably priced. Bathroom modern and well sized. Staff were on the whole very good. Reception helpful with travel advice. Bar lady very good. Breakfast was fine but a little chaotic in terms of organisation. Slight surprise was the 6Euro per person per night Rome tax but I am not blaming hotel for this. I would stay here again

"Lovely modern hotel"
Saor19, 08 Février 2016

Really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever stayed in away from home and the room was nice and quiet. The mood lighting was also very cool. We found the reception staff to be lovely and helpful, even giving us a free late check out of 2 pm! The only reason I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars is that the reception area itself is not very inviting or relaxing. Overall though, I'd highly recommend to family and friends looking for a base to explore Rome.

"Disappointing reception staff"
irene d, 07 Février 2016

Really rude Stephanie at reception. Disappointing check-in (we haven't heard "welcome") Disappointing check-out (no farewell at all) We haven't felt welcomed... The oldest guy at reception (wearing glasses) attacked to somebody during his shift, in front of us and other guests. All rooms have twin beds... no double bed at all, even though we booked for it and asked for it (we were on honeymoon) it was unable to be provided... Location of the hotel was not like described... at least half an hour to 40 minutes walking distance from main sights... Terrible noise from 7 am to 23 pm due to renovation tasks in the hotel....

"You get what you pay for"
Tony B, 04 Février 2016

It was about a 100 a night. Customer service was average to bad. Phones are a hassle to use. No phone by the desk. Everytime you have to use the phone you have to go by the bed. A lot of noise at nigh. Lobby personnel are not friendly. Breakfast is ok (average). Housekeeper are very good, excellent. Room service is ok/average.

"Close to train station, beautiful rooms!"
mjgallaway, 01 Février 2016

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Roma. We picked this one because of the proximity to the train station. It isn't a far walk to the Colosseum, close to great restaurants and attractions. The breakfast here is great, beds are comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom was clean and nice, location was fantastic! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Disappointing "
Mohamed H, 30 Janvier 2016

Its not my first time in Best Western Royal Santina, but this time everything was not going as i request, from the booking of business room and was not clearly mentioned on Hotels.com the differences between the different types of rooms to the refilling of minibar and the bad shower in bathroom and cleaning of the room. Upon arrival i asked the reception to make my room with a street view and she gave me a backyard view with a very small standard room justifying the action that the room overlooking the street is too noisy!! And the room she gave me was quite noisy from my neighborhood ( It was like we were sharing the same room!). Than i asked another one from the reception explaining the bad experience from day one and he promised to upgrade my room to a junior sweet and i have appreciated but unfortunatly he gave me another room little bigger with street view but not a junior sweet!! And i stopped requesting anything from that time. It was rarely to find someone smiling at the reception or even in the breakfast! I spend 6 nights and the experience was quite disappointing.

"Brilliant hotel and location "
Jules K, 24 Janvier 2016

If you are looking for a hotel that's in the centre of Rome this is it! We were staying for 3nights to sightsee so we chose this as it was near the main train station (termini) Check in was strictly 2pm however they let us store our luggage and use the wifi whilst we waited. Staff on reception were friendly. The room was perfect, mini bar, mood lights shower room (seemed to be designed for wheelchair users) the only downside was that we booked a double room and this was clearly two separate beds together. We couldn't hear any noise from outside the room. Breakfast was excellent, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Plus toast, cereal, fruit and continental stuff too. Staff all over were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The location was literally opposite termini station,so trains/bus/team would have been easy to get however as everything was pretty much walking distance we did that instead. Colosseum was 20mins, Trevi fountain 25mins.

"Great hotel , Excellent location !"
ShlomiObstler, 24 Janvier 2016

Excellent location, one minute walk from Termini Station - easy to get anywhere in Rome, very helpfull reception, very good breakfast, nice & comfortable room, probabely will be our preffered hotel next time in Rome.

"great place to stay in Rome "
kwilliams30, 22 Janvier 2016

very nice modern hotel. rooms are very clean. perfect location right next to termini station and shuttle bus from the airport stops right outside also main attractions are around a 20 minute walk from this hotel. breakfast is very nice mainly continental with a few hot options. I will defiantly be staying here again on my next visit to Rome.

"Close to central train station"
Pattie A, 21 Janvier 2016

Wonderful accomodations, clean, quiet. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Restraunt has gluten free menu. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Easy hop on/hop off tour bus right outside hotel. Walking distance to coloseum and other historical landmarks. Zero complaints. Will stay again if I ever get back to Rome.

"Amazing Hotel, Amazing City"
Tigz87, 19 Janvier 2016

This hotel is situated right next to termini, perfect for traveling to and from airport. Rooms are modern and very comfortable, go for a slightly bigger room if you can as there is quite a big difference in space. Bath is lovely and deep and bed is so comfortable! Breakfast is mainly continental with eggs and bacon, it's all very nice and perfect to keep you going for a day walking round Rome. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Perfect"
Parker L, 18 Janvier 2016

Stayed here back in August as a solo traveler in the junior suite. Staff was friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was very good, and a great start to the day. The room was very nice, with a decent view. Really easy location to get to the metro terminal, and to just about any site in the city.

"The best place to stay when in Rome"
Anne R, 10 Janvier 2016

Going here, you need to see the roadhouse restaurant At the Roma Termini Station just in front of the Salad Bar. When you exit, you will see the DON BOSCO LIBRERIA. If you see this LIbreria, you're on the right exit. Turn left, then you can see big Sign ROYAL SANTINA which is just few minutes from Roma Termini Station. Everything about this hotel is wonderful 1) check in was fast. The receptionist was even helpful on the City Sighseeing hop on Hop off bus. The stop is just outside the hotel. We were expecting a 4 star lobby but its still fine. Not just grand 4 star lobby. You can also avail other tickets from the lobby on which will save you standing for hours at the que for attraction tickets. 2) WIFI was wonderful. We never had issue with wifi connection. Its a fast connection too thats absolutely FREE. Wonderful! 3) BUFFET BREAKFAST was fantastic! Indeed a 4 star breakfast. They have a wide variety of Breakfast. Milk, coffee, juice, cereals, eggs, bacons and etc. breakfast area is wide area which you will never feel crowded even there's plenty of guests on the food area. Staff servers were wonderful too. They keep on filling food. Wonderful! 4) ROOM is spacious, with mini bar, table and a chair with enough compartments for stuff and luggages. BED was perfect. Not too soft or not too hard. We had a good sleep. We didn't here any noise from outside our room. Just perfect! BATHROOM had free toiletries and room was well cleaned. Room has kettle for coffee or tea. 5) CUSTOMER SERVICE -is PERFECT! They accommodated us with all our needs. From your printing needs, umbrella when it's raining, booking us tours/attraction tickets and even went out of their way to accommodate us for our early check out and breakfast at 5:30 AM. Breakfast is available at 6:30 AM but they made sure that 5:30 am buffet breakfast was already available for us. They are such a darling! 6) LOCATION.-is perfect. Just few minutes walk from Roma Termini or to Roma Termini(we arrive here from Venice and going to Milan) Accessible too for tour bus or even just by Metro for going to Vatican, Colosseo, Patine Hall, Roman Forum, Spagna, Trevi Fountain and other sights at Rome. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay at Rome. The perfect choice for us.

"Convenient location next to Rome Central Train Station"
Arash T, 07 Janvier 2016

I chose this hotel during one of my business trips in Italy when I had the weekend between my meetings with a connecting flight in Rome which was the best opportunity to take advantage and pay a visit to couple of cousins. I chose the hotel as it's about 1 min walking distance from Roma Termini (Rome Central Train Station) which made it easy for me with direct route to/from Rome Airport. The hotel lobby was clean with plenty of seats for people; though very busy as one group of travellers arrived by bus. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room was very small with minimum clearance between the bed and other stuuf around such as desk, drawer, side table, etc. The bathroom was also very small. Unfortunately my room did not have any view as it was over the next building. Also, the room did not have much space for storage of luggage and/or places for clothing, very limited for both. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good with many items for different tastes. Considering the fact that in Rome, most of the hisrotical places are within walking distance of each other, walking and having a comfy shoes are the given; for that reason, the hotel is located in a good spot (e.g. 20 min walking distance to Colosseo or Piazza Venezia). Overall, I may or may not stay in this hotel once again, don't know. Having said that, don't stay here and expecting a real 4 star hotel and services. Probably reasonable price but definitely not meeting a 4 star hotel.

"What you see is what you get"
GUgbabe, 06 Janvier 2016

There is always a lingering fear when you book a hotel online that you may find it disappointing on arrival but this hotel was just as described. I stayed in a single room (305), which was just as I saw in online; fair size, coordinated design, unique lighting. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. Location was great as the Termini was just next door and Taxi and Bus services right in front. Rooms were clean. Shower was a bit too small for me. Bath was okay but protruding mixer and fittings made me a bit uncomfortable. All told, I would readily stay at this hotel on my next visit.

"Take the good with the bad here"
wagamoto, 30 Décembre 2015

The Good: --Convenient location right next to Termini --Allowed for a very early Check-in (Much appreciated) --Small but comfortable basic modern Room (King bed) nice natural light, mood lighting is cool --Included breakfast was surprisingly outstanding --Front desk helpful with good advice, friendly, and accommodating --Nice View from window The Bad: --Definitely not what I would consider a 4* hotel. This place is a nice budget option if the price is right, but do not expect anything more. --Bathroom was not cleaned well upon check-in. I won't go into detail but involved toilet, shower, and tub, so poor job with housekeeping on this. The bathroom overall is poorly designed. --Lobby area is shabby, not very clean or comfortable --In room Wifi is free but way too slow Overall, I probably would stay here again. My biggest gripe is I expected it to be a little bit nicer place, but it is a little bit poorly maintained property I get the feeling.

"Close to Roma Termini"
Leen2n2011, 30 Décembre 2015

It's not in a neighborhood I prefer, but it is 2 blocks from the Roma Termini, which makes it convenient, if you need to take the train or Metro often. Other than that, it's a budget hotel, but clean, nontheless.

"A week to remember"

"Great hotel near Termini"
Eugenio C, 24 Décembre 2015

I stayed one night in the hotel. It is 100 m from Termini railway station. The hotel has a nice lobby with modern forniture. I think it has been recently renovate. The ladies at the desk were kind and helpful. I had a room at the 4th floor with window on the internal yard. The room was not so large but it was well furnished and with a comfortable bed, frigobar, coffee and tea machine, flat tv screen (I did not tur on), wifi (high capacity). THe bathroom was spacious, well equipped and clean. The breakfast at the ground floor is served at the saide at the lobby in really good place and had a large selection of hot and fresh food. I have been enthusiastic of this hotel. I found a special offer at 115 € per night (breakfast included). It is a great price for the area and the quality of the hotel. I hardly recommend this hotel.

"Good but with cons"
aphroditet2015, 21 Décembre 2015

Modern design but the biggest disadvantage was the lounge. It was too modern to want to relax there. Breakfast could be better. Two single beds united led both of us to the center of the bed. Nothing interesting on foot distance. In The termini you could find everything and all transportation was in 5 minutes walk.

"Great location"
Debbie B, 20 Décembre 2015

Great location, right across the street from the hop on/hop off bus. Room and amenities were very clean. Buffet breakfast was varied with both hot and cold food. Ha Having the hop on/hop off across the road was handy. The hotel was close to all attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

"Diego Martin in Roma"
FilipeDiogoMartins, 16 Décembre 2015

A good hotel for the price with a modern decoration, good location, near the termini station that is good to whom rent a car or go by train to other cities and near a metro station so i think it is a good choise

"An Excellent choice Ideally located with really nice people! Quiet and Modern."
Boris H, 15 Décembre 2015

We were there fo only 2 nights and so the Hotel is fantastically located. Just at the end of the biggest trainstation with direct access to airport. No time is lost in transport. Also if you like to walk, you are 15 min for trevisa fountain and 20 min from the colosseum and 3 minutes from Piazza Republica. But this distance is full of surprises, nice shops, buildings o you will not feel the distance which is around 1 km max. The hotel is really clean and modern with good insolation of the rooms. No noise at all. The people at the Bar, 2 nice ladies, made us feel like at home. Gazie again to you :)

"Amazing hotel in Rome"
faryald2015, 09 Décembre 2015

Great hotel location. Hop on-off busses across the street. It is the start location of these citytour busses. You can also catch the airport shuttle bus to Fiumcino and Campiano for €6 per person. Great deal!! Also the Termini station is a 3 minute walking distance from the hotel where you can catch metros, public busses and the Leonardo express to the airport. The hotel itself is has very modern furniture, great selection at breakfast and our room was quite on the big site for European standards. So that was beyond our expectations. We had a 3-person room. It was a great hotel that was beyond our expectations and it could not have had a better location!!!!

"AMAZING: STAFF, LOCATION, ROOMS ALL IN ONE PLACE!"
Samer M, 26 Novembre 2015

Where do I start? The best, friendliest, most courteous staff are found in this hotel. This hotel has a staff that truly goes out of their way for your comfort. The hotel seems like it went a recent renovation and therefore you can expect modern rooms with modern amenities. Location is PRIME and right next to the Termini Station. The breakfast did the job, only downside is everything was repeated every morning for the 4 nights we stayed. I would surely surely stay here again. A special shout-out and big thank you to Mr Andrea (in charge of security at night) who truly went out of his way to make our stay very smooth. Another special shout-out and thank you to Miss Alessia who is very patient, friendly and also went out of her way to make our stay smooth. Book here without hesitation and enjoy the mood lights!

"Nice hotel at great location"
Tommi V, 21 Novembre 2015

Hotel Royal Santina is perfectly located next to main railway station, Termini. We stayed 7 nights and we are very happy about hotel's services and room's quality. Breakfast has different dishes, hot and cold + desserts.

"Good hotel but poor service"
robertmcnamara, 20 Novembre 2015

Let's start with the good things, great location and clean hotel Bad thing, poor service. Rooms are really hot and air conditioning is not working. When queried with hotel reception was told that they turn off the ac in the winter. So have two choices, open window and get no sleep because of city traffic or close window and get no sleep because of high room temperature. Really has spoilt my break

"happy with my choice"
Yi L, 15 Novembre 2015

very convenient location, 2 mins from the termini, and tour buses. surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. good breakfast. nice and stylish room with reasonable size. with tea/coffee facility. very kind staff, especially the lady in white blouse at front desk.

"A Good, Convenient Hotel Near Roma Termini Railway Station"
David H, 30 Octobre 2015

This is a good place to stay overnight if you are travelling to or from Rome by train. It is only a block from the Roma Termini Railway Station. It is clean and pleasant, and the staff speak English. it has the advantages and disadvantages of a business hotel. It is efficient and comfortable but also impersonal.

"Luxury"
Lilli S, 28 Octobre 2015

Luxury. Perfect stay. Easy location to the subqay, bus and train terminal. Hope on hop off stop to for the tour bus. Comfortable beds. Nice and friendly staff.great breakfast. Spacious rooms and modern amenities... We will return.

"Nicely located"
NQ8286, 26 Octobre 2015

Very nicely located, just 3 minutes walk to the central station. Rooms are very small sized as compared to hotels in middle east specially Dubai. Breakfast was nice with decent options. Overall a pleasant experience during my recent stay for 2 nights.

"I Loved this Place"
angeldee52, 14 Octobre 2015

Beautifully decorated. I had room 108. I loved my room. It had coffee/tea in it, refrigerator, safe Free Wi-Fi. Floor carpet and tile. Garden outside my room. Staff very nice. No iron seen, clock radio, wash cloths available, pressed linen towels. Walls were not sound proof. I heard water running in another room. Flat screen TV, Nine English channels, five music channels, couldn't find CNN OR BBC. Sky News available. Very modern high tech rooms. You can paint your dreams by changing the color of the night lite in your room( red, blue, green, white), Air conditioning. Delicious breakfast. Best hotel so far on this trip. Restaurant and bar on site. Hotel close to Train station. Lots of shops and place to eat around the area. Rainforest showers in rooms.

"Friendly place "
Prateek B, 14 Octobre 2015

It is a good hotel with a very friendly staff especially at the reception . One of the few places in Rome where they won't try to steel you or upsell you stuff. Location is great very near the railway station and they offer good rooms as well . The only area that needs improvement is the housekeeping as they don't clean the rooms properly.

"Good location, below average food"
Chell S, 13 Octobre 2015

The staff were all very pleasant, the rooms were clean and very modern, and the breakfast was included in the cost of the room. However, the breakfast seemed to be catered a bit towards a more western diet. The dinner wasn't memorable or something that I would eat again. The location was very good though, a short jog from the Coliseum, Arch of Constantine, Alter of the Fatherland, etc. Also there is a cute little restaurant/bar around the corner called Living Room Room Cafe and it was really good! Great house wine.

"Amazing 3 days in Rome at Royal Santina"
SaintAndrew2014, 30 Septembre 2015

We enjoyed 3 days stay in Rome at the Hotel Royal Santina prior to our Royal Caribbean Cruise to Greece and Turkey. From arrival to departure we were made very welcome by everyone, the room was really nice and breakfast was excellent. We left something in the room on our departure and it was found by the staff and returned safely to us. The location of the Santina is very central beside the Railway and bus station within easy reach for all the attractions around Rome.

"Excelllent hotel"
johnpA9406AF, 30 Septembre 2015

Just spent 5 days at the Royal Santina. The room was very comfortable and clean, service excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel, perfect base for sightseeing. close to Metro, bus station and Termini station.

"Good, modern hotel in a very convenient location"
ChrisMikeEllis, 19 Septembre 2015

Dont let the very dated exterior fool you, the outside and the inside are very different! The hotel has been recently refurbished. They are going for a very modern feel with soft colored mood lighting throughout the rooms. The shower was excellent (always good after a flight and the obligatory train trip into Rome) and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was handy, as eating out for every single meal in Rome gets very expensive very quickly. The location right next to the train station (take the most northern exit from the station, which should be on your right as you exit your train and you should be able to see the hotel) is very convenient for late arrivals too.

"Great centrally located hotel"
johnfC692RP, 13 Septembre 2015

Room was exceptional. Clean neat and well laid out. The included breakfast buffet was exceptional as well. BUT the best was the central location and right across from the Hop on Hop off stop. Also located right at the train station. Great two day stay before our cruz.
