« Nice place to stay »

Close to University and well connected with Rome center by METRO You get a shuttle bus from and to metro station by the hotel for free but for this you must check the timetable. The price is awesome if you consider the town prices. Vicino all'Università ed alla Metro con servizio di bus navetta.

    « Poor »

Generally poor and not comfortable: noisy rooms, paper thin curtains, shower screen tiny so floor gets soaked, window did not close fully. Hotel situated in very rough area with police storing their riot vehicles in hotel carpark.

« Not Bad for an ordinary Hotel »

The area that this Hotel is stationed is not one of the best in the entire Rome. It is more a hotel of groups of travelers staying 1 night (two at the most). Around the Hotel area there is a small Shopping Mall and two Super Markets that somebody can found anything. There is a Pizza Restaurant named "io e Valter" where we had the best pizza ever (prices are good/trip advisor prize). Rooms are Just to be fit in but clean with good service and very polite and alost perfect at their job personnel. Breakfast is average could be better. Also, its easy to get to Metro station Agnanina using Bus No 20 (bus stop is next to the Hotel) and visit downtown Rome (35 minutes total from Hotel to Colosseum including change to LINEA B). Transportation to both airports is very easy using BUS 20 to Metro station Anaginia then Cotral Bus to Ciampino OR BUS 20 Metro station Anaginia and then to Termini station to catch the train to Leonardo Da Vinci/Fiumicino Airport.

    « Small room »

The hotel itself is far from the city and it is like in the suburban area but with many policies. The room is small, average and clean. Breakfast is on level -1 and if you are in group, you get time to eat and reserved table. The staff is ok like a hawk, looking at us all the time. The coffee machine has variety of coffee and very nice. Overall comfy and nice fluffy pillow.

    « Could be better »

Though the hotel is well maintained and clean, the location is a bit far from the city centre of Rome. Travelling to and from city can be costly. Rooms are very small and we could barely have space to open two suitcases. Breakfast is typical continental and the spread is average at best.

« Good hotel for a short stay »

My husband and I visited this hotel for 5 nights. I'm a stickler for hygiene and cleanliness and was relieved that this hotel met my standards, especially the rooms. Pros: clean, outdoor pool, gym and decent menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cons: Quite far from the city centre, you have to catch a bus from outside the hotel to the main metro line and then a subway to the main centre, this however takes no longer than about 35mins in total and is VERY cheap, the bus always seemed to be free (never asked for a ticket) and a return metro ticket is only €3! The location of the hotel is in a very suburban part of town, in the sense that it is almost desolate, with a shopping centre that seemed to be closed bar one or two shops. I didn't get the sense of it being unsafe but I wouldn't voluntarily take a walk in the evening on my own! The hotel stops serving food from 2:30-4:30 which was quite frustrating and the upstairs area where you can sit from breakfast and dinner is only open for those periods which is a shame as it would benefit from being open all day as it's such a nice area to sit with a drink and enjoy the sun on the roof. Most of the receptionists were polite but sometimes you got the feeling that you were bothering them, they could have been a bit more willing to help. The waiters and waitresses were very polite however and the food was good! In conclusion this hotel is good but would definitely have benefited from being in a better location, improve the pool area (more sun loungers and parasols) and receptionists etiquette needs a bit of brushing up!

Booked this hotel for the last night of our holiday as it was supposedly 5km from the airport and the state on their website that they have a shuttle bus (with a surcharge). Emailed them twice before we arrived looking for advice on getting from Rome Termini to the hotel - no response. Found directions to nearest train station which they said that ran a shuttle bus from. Rang them from the station and they told me they had no shuttle bus so got on the local bus. Arrived at the hotel which is in the middle of what I can only describe as a ghetto and was told they have a shuttle bus. Then enquired about their transfer to the airport to be told they don't have a shuttle bus but they use a transfer service which is €50 (for 5km) They claim to have a courtesy bus to metro but would you believe it has only 9 seats and was booked out. Bathroom door won't close let alone lock. Don't stay here. It will cost a lot more than they say. Food OK. Wine is served in smallest amount I've ever seen. Would I recommend here, no way.

    « Average Hotel »

After reading the reviews here I was expecting the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room and hotel - clean and comfortable with the restaraunt being quite nice. The pool was also quite clean and inviting The downsides are that the hotel is in a bit of a dodgy neighbourhood far from Rome (train + bus to get there), which wasn't an issue for us because we were part of a tour group. The AC is also controlled centrally so ii may be an issue if you like it alot cooler.

    « Horrible place »

I had never seen such a dirty and rubbish hotel in my traveling bell desk services / no room cleaning service / rooms are very small / far away from central Rome / internet not working properly / no kitchen service 24/7 / also bus stop is far away / no care for the customers / rude staff behavior I would not recommend any tourist to book this trash hotel at any cost and waste their money

    « Worst Westen hotel »

Booked 12 double bedrooms out which 4 bedroom A.C. was not working and one of bedroom was a single seater in a name of double bedroom. When compliant about the rooms they denied the fact. After a long troublesome dicussion they accepted that they have given one seater bedroom in the name of two and they cannot change the room untill the next day. Moreover their receptionists were very rude and treating us like we are under them. I sincerely request all if u got lots extra money u can spend here .Then u would be sorry as donating that money would have been much better. Moreover u get a high prestige here not bcos it is a very good hotel but bcos Their receptionists will solve problem by saying "shut up" and "you are creating mess".

« More like WORST western hotel »

After arriving in Rome and greeting our hotel transfer, we were full of high spirits. Once we got to the area the hotel was situated in, the transfer driver commented 'I hope you're going to the city, this is a bad area', which left us pessimistic. Upon arrival we were greeted and checked in by a friendly male receptionist, however this was not a sign of what was to come. Our booking promised one room with a queen bed and two singles, when we were checked in we were given two separate rooms, both with queen beds which was the exact opposite of what we asked for. We were thrilled to be informed about a free shuttle service run from the hotel to the nearest metro station, as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. However on the first day of using this service, the reception staff had overbooked the shuttle, there were too many people and not enough seats. After squashing two people onto one seat with the driver dismissing our concerns, we hurtled towards the metro station with what we deemed to be very unsafe driving considering the shortage of seats and seatbelts. After this overbooking, we decided to book the shuttle TWO days in advance to make sure we had a seat (to be continued). On the second day of using the shuttle, we confirmed the pick up time with the driver as 7pm, we were later shocked to find outselves sitting on the side of a dangerous ant infested road waiting for the alleged shuttle bus, which eventually turned up at 8pm, a whole HOUR late and even after numerous calls to the hotel asking where the shuttle was. Despite our annoyance the hotel staff and shuttle driver offered no apology for their lateness and the hotel staff did not seem to have a clue how long the shuttle will be or where exactly the driver was. As mentioned previously, we had booked the shuttle two days in advance to avoid overbooking. On arrival at the shuttle bus pick up location, surprise surprise the shuttle was overbooked again. This time the hotel staff said it was a mistake and that we were not able to use the shuttle due to this overbooking, despite being the first party to book our place. They assured us that the shuttle bus would make an extra trip to take us to the metro, however after waiting fourth minutes, the shuttle had still not returned. We were then forced to get a taxi into the city due to having a ticketed time slot for the Vatican museum. The taxi cost around €50 and the hotel refused to reimburse us. On the return shuttle we waited a further half an hour past the agreed pick up time, again receiving no apology. On the fourth night we naively booked the shuttle again for 7pm to take us into town, surprise surprise, despite being based at the hotel the shuttle did not turn up, this time we were able to physically complain to the hotel staff however this made no difference as they did not even acknowledge our presence, and the only advice they could offer was to 'wait five minutes' or to 'pay for our own taxi or get the bus'. Fourty minutes later we were informed that the shuttle had to make another run so we could not yet get on it, a further ten minutes later we were shoved into a non-identified vehicle which did not have any seatbelts and again raced towards the metro station with a driver who clearly thought he was Louis Hamilton with an average speed of 100km an hour. Aside from all of this, we had a lovely view from our balcony of some overflowing bins complete with rotting and smelly food. Upon check-out the hotel staff surprised us with a payment of €144 for 'Rome room tax' which we were not told about neither by our holiday company or by the hotel on arrival. Despite all this negativity, the bar and resteraunt staff, as well as only the MALE receptions were very friendly and helpful. 100% would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to fear for your lives, spend a fortune on taxis and other surprise costs, and spend the holiday smelling of bins.

    « Near university »

Well.. Although i am a diamound Select member in the hotel group best western! I did not get any recognition ^_^ although the staff is nice but seems they just doing thier jobs. I believe they too upset of the hotel condition! It have a shuttle bus takes me to the university which was a great privilage to me.. The restaurant in the 5th floor also is very nice.. Tiny Gym but ok for routine workout.. Tiny swimming pool.. There is lack of communication little bit and misunderstanding may be because of difference in cultures but overall Ok experience for business or solo travel for study but not for leisure travelers. Hotel have nice entertainment too like ping pong table billards and TV hall next to the bar

    « Satisfy!! »

Booked by Group Thai agency tour. Location very far from Rome downtown. 40 minutes by taxi (with 50 Euro to get in town) I loved these hotel that had many towel selection in room; Good variety Breakfast choices. More shower space area. strong WIFI. Good Reception information helpfulness. Good prices. They had Bar & snooker area also (But I have no time to use the services) All in all, Love these stay!!

    « Not worth it »

My experience with the hotel overall was quite moderate, however the pool was in a ridiculous state. It clearly hadn't been cleaned for days, went in for two minutes before realising how bad it was so got out and just stayed on the sun loungers (of which there was only 5 or 6 of) for the remainder of the day. It was disgusting, thousands of dead bugs in the pool, shower by poolside didn't work, poolside not maintained, shed window smashed, etc. My foot got red later on that evening, figured I had just stood on something, gradually got worse and once I was home learned that it was athletes foot. Obviously can't prove it but I'm 100% convinced it came from the pool/poolside. Otherwise the hotel was admittedly not bad, staff were mostly friendly, food was good - nothing special, inside of hotel was clean. Police seemed to actually stay in the hotel as loads of vans/cars outside every night and you could see them relaxing later on. Local area wasn't particularly nice, lots of graffiti, needles on the pathway to the metro, path overgrown with bushes - not a pleasant walk. Maybe this was an ideal hotel for business or groups, but for a holiday - definitely not. Although it was close to the metro that gave you easy access to Rome, this was the only benefit however. WiFi was also terrible, couldn't even load Google outside the lobby - and we were only on the second floor out of 6 so it must've been even worse further up. Completely unusable. Would I recommend? No. Better choices around the City, even though this hotel was cheap, I wouldn't return.

« good hotel, very far from city »

The hotel is quite far from the city and the airport as well. i liked taking a walk around but the surroundings were littered and filled with garbage bags everywhere. room size was average, wifi signal was good and free as well. the pool was closed for maintenance during my visit. the hotel is kept clean and maintained well, the lobby is quite small, not too spacious. the breakfast was very good, with lost of pastry options to choose from. their hot beverages were delicious as well. i loved the hot chocolate.

    « small »

Very small room with good facilities, but difficult to move our body. We came with a lot of our suitcase so make us taking time to. but the room is comfort for sleeping. Breakfast is okay nothing special

« Well nice rooms and that's it »

Ok I stayed 3 nights for business , the hotelstaff was friendly and well they tried . Rooms are very nice and clean , aircon was working . No shuttle to the airport which is a joke , what kind of costumers is this hotel build for . The hotel as excellent conference rooms , but for business this hotel is absolutely a no go . - no English or other then Italian TV Channels - Internet worked on the first day but then not anymore , the biggest joke was when I told the staff that the Internet wasn't working the answer was yes ,(really) I ask then will you do something about this the answer was yes (suprise) and what happened well guess nothing . I was really upset and went again , the staff seen me and said "the Internet is not working " I was like "really" wow I didn't know that . - now the hotel is in the middle of a ghetto this has nothing to do with quiet area drug addicts Arround the hotel and homeless it is really dirty outside also . The hotel itself is nice and for business useless cause of the Internet and connection to the airport and city

    « Everything just standard »

I only stayed for one night and found everything standard at this hotel. Standard room (not spacious), standard service and standard breakfast. Neighborhood is very quiet. The location is far from center city, but not a problem as we hired a car. They served very limited variety of breakfast eg. scramble eggs, sausages, breads. Btw, there was no staff stand by at the breakfast area during our breakfast time.

    « Very good hotel »

I stayed there 4 nights, very good services. The room is comfy and we had all that we needed, good Wi-fi connection and all. The breakfast was tasty and the waiters were very polite and pro. The receptionists the same: very professional.

« Winter time would be perfect cos your room will be hot »

It's only April but quite hot in rome this week. As stated on re;this hotel - each room has ac. Well here ac means it's either hot or off. 1st you can't control the ac from your room you need to phone reception and they adjust it for you. 2nd who ever heard of ac that can't be used on cold air. Right now my room temp is 27 degrees. I have asked reception for a fan he told me no he is using it ha. God love anyone who stays here in the summer months.

    « Good value »

Spent our last 2 nights here and it's a perfectly fine hotel. We walked around the neighborhood one night with no issues and there is a pretty good grocery store 1 block away. Anyways the price was great and for us since we had a car everything was easy to get to. Aqueducts, etc was only 20 minutes away. Room was decent sized with a balcony, nice workout room on the lower level, and we both thought the breakfast was good. Certainly better than any other we had in Rome or Paris. Cereal, breads, eggs, bacon, juice, etc.

« Far away from the city but decent, quite and safe hotel »

Public transport accessible from the hotel and very frequent. You don't have to wait for the bus to take you to Anagnina. The best was not good. We ate the same breakfast everyday with cold boiled eggs that were coming out of the fridge. A little improvement in the breakfast section would be best. The rooms are spacious and I had a balcony to be able to enjoy fresh air. The location is good and there are shops around if one needs to get something to eat. The housekeeping was not cleaning the room, especially under the bed. The dust was pilling up and I had to request them to clean it. Other than that, I will book the hotel again should I see myself in Rome again.

« away from city but decent safe hotel »

From termini take RER red line to ANAGNINA come out of station in front big bus terminal there from there take bus number 20 . From bus hotel best western tall signboard can be seen , bus drops few steps away from hotel on the bridge . service of bus is good ,operates every 10 minutes .last bus 11 pm hotel is safe to stay as lot of policemen stay at hotel breakfast was decent with variety room was clean

The hotel it's ok. The rooms could be more spacious. Breakfast it's fine, some BW four stars has better breakfast. The best of he hotel is one of the receptionist named Nicole. She is so nice, helpful beyond her duty. She explained every single thing we asked and solution everything. Thank you again Nicole.

« breakfast is not soo good can be more rich .but ? enjoyed »

Staff are so helpfull but wifi doesnt work during our stay 3days. I was stay there ar 14 to 17 may.rooms are not bad.Location is very quiet Bar Staff was very good.Reception girl helpme always.? feel like home

« Hotel that goes the extra mile! »

Check in to the hotel was very efficient, fast and professional with very little waiting required. The room was clean, very comfortable beds with a nice balcony. Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The pool was clean and very welcoming during the hot August weather. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the neighbourhood appears a bit dubious, but I would like to give all credit to the staff(Cristina at Reception) who offered their shuttle to the nearest metro station during the day, and to her colleague who offered the same service (free of cost) in the night when we were leaving with our baggage and a tired daughter. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far from home, but it is well compensated with the service and room rate.

« In the middle of a bad neighborhood »

We stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago. upon arrival to the area, our taxi driver told us that if we had arrived at night we would not take us there because he was afraid of the area after dark. Behind the hotel there is an empty lot where the homeless camp with a sign that reads "welcome to favelas". So we tried leaving and arriving early to the hotel to avoid problems. Our 2nd night there we arrived after dark and it was very dark and scary. No street lights around. To get to Rome you have 2 options, drive which will take 30-40 min due to traffic, or take the bus and then the train. That will take you about 1 hour. The bus stop is about 3 blocks away. The bus ride is another half an hour. Then the train is another 20 min. The hotel itself is very basic, lots of Mosquitos but the employees are very nice and helpful. I can't say that I would stay at this hotel again because of the distance from Rome.

    « Great value »

Very pleased, great value, good facilities, nice staff. Handled many guests effortlessly, room reasonable size, although tight for 3 but at cost no complaints. Food was consistently good and well priced.Would highly recommend.

    « So-so hotel.. »

The hotel is a 20-minute drive away from the city center. But considering the VERY heavy traffic in Rome, expect around 30 to 45 minutes travel time. Located near several small stores, which is very convenient for last-minute shopping. You just need to walk past some deserted buildings to get to the shops. The room itself was okay, pretty basic. - Good-sized balcony - Refrigerator - Flat screen tv, but no channels in english - Bathroom did not have a lock, but had a hair dryer and a separate sink for washing babies (??) Encountered some problems with this hotel. First, their wifi was not working. I wasn't able to check my e-mails for 2 days. Second, their aircon needed to be turned on from the reception. This was the first time i heard something like this. Breakfast in this hotel was also total chaos! The breakfast area could only accommodate around 50-60 persons, but there were hundreds crowding around the buffet area. They had a good selection, but due to the huge volume of people, they ran out of breakfast in less than a minute, since people were all scrambling to get their share! We had to wait around 20 to 30 minutes for the refills. I think they could improve on customer service.. they should hire more staff, and get a new wifi provider.
