"Rome Holiday 2024"
98sheah, 16 Avril 2024

Not sure why some people are leaving bad reviews. Some people are just miserable. The hotel is spot on. Fridge in the room and a balcony. You get what you pay for and all is absolutely fine. Its clean with a nice powerful shower etc! You will need to be familiarise yourself with using transport. Metro is best as it is a 7 min walk away and it can take you anywhere. The hotel isn't central but central Rome hotels are about £70 extra per night. Would also add breakfast as it is cheap but is actually really good. Sausage and bacon not great but everything else is amazing. Would highly recommend. Just familiarise yourself with transport and be comfortable to walk! Rome is a city that requires lots of it as we did 20k steps a day.

"Not as bad as all the negative reviews state!"
Inspiration563118, 13 Avril 2024

I was really hesitant to visit this hotel due to some of the negative reviews BUT I can honestly say we had a great stay! Yes, it's about 4km from the city centre but the main train terminal and metro are about a 5 -10 minute walk from it. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was a typical continental type breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, a range of pastries, bread etc and the service was good. It is in the university area of Rome so busy at night but we really had a good stay. We also ate at a lovely little Italian restaurant nearby. Overall, a good stay and I will think twice before I believe negative reviews!

"Good value for a hotel stay in Rome"
emmak903, 01 Avril 2024

We booked a triple room, was plenty big enough for us, although there wasn't really anywhere to put empty suitcases. The room was clean and comfortable. Air con didn't really work though, so it was a little warm and it would have been nice if there was seating on the balcony as we would have used it more if that was the case. The fridge and kettle were a useful addition. Breakfast could have done with more vegan options, there was no soya milk or spread, but we were able to get things from the local lidl (about 10 mins walk away) to take down with us. There was plenty of fruit and we noticed on an allergen list that there were vegan cornetti, however we had to ask a member of staff to point this out to us as the item itself wasn't labelled. My 12 year old loved the cornetti and ate 5 at our first breakfast. During our stay staff were there when we needed them but not intrusive. It was easy enough to get into rome Policlinico metro was about 5 mins walk away and it was easy to purchase tickets at only 1.50 euros. We liked 'pizza dai cinque' across the road to pick up a quick bite to eat, they also usually had at least 3 cheeseless vegan options which were very tasty. You do occasionally hear sirens but I can't say we really noticed it all that much and it was a lots quieter than being in the centre of Rome. All in all a very good place to stay for the money.

"Not at all what we were expecting ☹️"
Georgina I, 29 Mars 2024

We were told on arrival that we'd been upgraded. If this room is deluxe, I dread to think what it must be like in the standard rooms. The walls are paper thin. I have never stayed in a room where the occupants of the adjacent rooms are keeping you awake by using their shower. The noise the water makes is deafening- it's as if your neighbours are using your bathroom. You can hear EVERYTHING. The room itself is a decent size but there is NO storage. Literally none. We have a rail and a large shelf underneath; all our clothes are out on display like a jumble sale. There is a safe to use free of charge, which is a bonus. There is a TV but no international channels like BBC World News, which is odd in a hotel in a capital city. The kettle is tiny: be careful you don't overfill it as it boils over. Good selection of teas and coffees and bottled water available in the fridge. The room is clean and the bed linen is good but the pillows are firm verging on hard. We have been able to open our window, which is just as well as the air con is not working. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from Roma Termini but there is a metro station nearby. The location is strange: surrounded by hospitals. You are constantly serenaded by ambulance sirens. There is also a steep flight of steps to get to Reception: it wasn't easy hauling my case up those, and I'm not sure there was an accessible alternative. We were told on booking that this hotel has a spa. No idea where that is, as we haven't been able to find it. The breakfast room is below ground level but bright enough. The food selection was not bad- mostly continental breakfast fare, a few hot food items and a good selection of cake and pastries. There doesn't appear to be a bar in the hotel, which is odd. There are lots of bars and cafes in the vicinity but very few restaurants. Would not recommend for a leisure stay. This is only our second night but I can't imagine our view will change. You really should be able to count on a decent night's sleep in a Best Western hotel. Disappointing.

"Avoid. Hot, noisy and dated."
garypW9636WS, 27 Mars 2024

Dated hotel with paper thin walls, old Ill fitting windows in a very noisy busy location. Hotel claims to be air conditioned. This is a lie. It does not work whatsoever. Because it's so noisy outside you need the windows closed which makes the rooms stuffy and hot. This is March so God knows what it's like in the summer. Walls are so thin you can hear conversations next door and TV playing. Hardly any sockets to charge phones. Breakfast is adequate. They ran out of coffee cups this morning. No menus for dinner. You have to scan a QR code.

"Clean hotel - uncomfortable beds"
Kim J, 20 Mars 2024

Clean and tidy hotel, good location only 10 minute walk to main Tremini for trains, buses and underground. Breakfast not the best, staff ok but not overly welcoming, biggest downside is how uncomfy the beds were, we had 3 double rooms and a quadruple and all were the same, rock hard, maybe ok for a weekend but we stayed for a week and it's certainly wasn't a comfy sleep after long days out seeing the sights. Also bear in mind you have city tax to pay on check in, approx £150 per room

"No air-conditioning and a very hot room."
Hayley61, 18 Mars 2024

Very disappointed. We went in March and it wasn't really hot but the room was very hot. We tried to get the air-conditioning to work but it didn't. I went to the reception to ask about it but was told we didn't have air-conditioning, even though the hotel advertised it with it. We have had to have the window open all night to try and keep cooler, which is really noisy. In all honesty I would not recommend this hotel. It must be unbearable in the summer.

"Friendly staff brilliant stay- Thank You"
Billie Jo S, 17 Février 2024

Me and my boyfriend went here last week and we would definitely recommend. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is immaculate and rooms are comfortable. Cleaners did an amazing job cleaned the room every day and really effectively too. 25 min drive to Campinio airport/15 min drive to colosseum and 45 min drive to vatican city. Would recommend for anybody wanting a good clean hotel that provides a really safe feeling and is near everything you may want to do whilst in Rome.

"Perfect choice!!!"
happysunshinePaphos, 06 Février 2024

Fantastic check in by Luca and was always on hand with any questions we had. Great location from the trams and tubes which made life so easy to get around. Room was of a high standard and cleaned daily with refreshments replenished. Busy student area with plenty of cafes and bars within walking distance. Balcony was a fantastic added extra as was able to sit outside and watch the world go by. Highly recommended for a short or long stay.

"Awful"
I P, 11 Novembre 2023

This is just a brief review. As a disabled, solo, female traveller on a first time visit to Rome, I was left utterly traumatised, infuriated and disappointed by my short stay in this joke of a place. What a waste of my time, planning, effort, bravery and prayers for a brief escape from reality. When I walked in after a stressful and tiring journey as a public transport user, there was zero welcome other than one of the young girls who eventually confirmed my details and gave my my room card. On first impressions the room seemed clean and well made until further inspection revealed very dusty surfaces. All staff members had outrageously bad attitudes that made me question how they had paid roles within hospitality. Their mannerisms and words were discriminative and unacceptable. One of the staff had the audacity to bang his fist on the reception desk as though my presence was a crime. Simple requests were treated as though asking them to perform rocket science and they seem to think coffee creamer is the same as milk and they argued when I very politely tried to explain the difference. Who wants to put coffee creamer in cup of tea? They have a lovely piano towards the front of The hotel is quite close to the Policlinico metro station. I was desperate to leave and checked out as soon as I could on the day of departure. I was so glad I was only there for two nights but how I wish I'd booked somewhere better. They showed disrespect, aggression and agitation towards a British, English speaking adult who understandably isn't fluent in Italian. It was apparent they assumed I was simply an illegal immigrant there as an inconvenience a. I was on a European visit for goodness sake, it's not my job to cater to their language preferences but the other way around. Their obnoxious cleaners kissed their teeth and tutted loudly (one even shook her finger at me whilst speaking a foreign language) whilst forcing themselves into my room, shoddily cleaning in a lazy manner and hitting the chair I was seated in with the wire of the vacuum. The bathroom window and balcony door opened themselves during a particularly gusty moment of Storm Ciaran which caused my belongings to topple over and smash, including one of my expensive, barely used foundation bottles that was smashed to smithereens and the contents of which went all over the floor (which I had the decency to mop away as much as possible). There's no bathroom floor mats, no slippers and no robes provided. On my final evening, in plenty of time before the restaurant closing time, I followed the English instructions as to how to order but was told to go straight to the restaurant which I did. With a hesitant and disapproving look, one of the three restaurant staff did eventually come over with no smile nor greeting . Of course they loudly huffed and puffed because I wasn't Italian and didn't speak their language fluently (as though it's a crime) and even when I used Google Translate. By the late hour in which they did finally allow me to be seated, my Fibromyalgia had flared so much that I burst into tears which made for an even worse experience as some of the people seated kept staring at me. The food was decent and they even offered me a free panna cotta (only after causing me to breakdown) which I enjoyed in my room but it didn't compensate for the hostility I experienced. Sadly, I did feel a strong sense of discrimination from all staff and based on the few words I could understand in Italian, they really didn't like the fact I was not: white, healthy, accompanied, or of their background. Having worked in customer service myself, I was appalled at the total lack of customer service skills these people had. It baffled me how they landed job roles within a three star hotel. Also you can hear the other families from your room, even with the TV on so there's definitely no sound proofing. The view from the balcony was miserable ie a graffiti filled wall and hardly impressive building alongside the main roads. The nearby businesses seem to cater to their local working class people and so it's not exactly the sort of area you'd actively select when trying to experience the best of Rome's otherwise scenic hotspots. The only things that made me smile during this whole ordeal were the thunderstorm which reflected my angry emotions, watching Johnny English in Italian, a lovely lady on the way to Heathrow and a lovely gentleman on the return flight to London, to remind me that good humans exist. Overall, I left the hotel a much unhappier person and would never recommend it to anyone, especially if they are solo traveller of colour and disadvantage. Shame on you, Best Western Globus Hotel staff and sort yourselves out.

"Not the best hotel"
56heatherb, 02 Novembre 2023

We had a family room booked. We were given an accessible room on the ground floor. The bed was ok but had an overhang (where it had been pulled down from the wall) which was similar colour to the floor and finished close to the table. This resulted in several banged legs! The associated bathroom also was for disabled use so the toilet was not great and the shower had a curtain round resulting in wet floors. Being on the ground floor also meant lots of noise from people coming/going and from the staff during the night including when cleaning. The location was also quite far out. We used the metro. Breakfast was basic and the same things every day. The hotel was ok but would not return nor recommend.

"Excellent accommodation "
Suetasker88, 26 Octobre 2023

Amazing hotel our bedroom with balcony was cleaned daily all the staff were friendly and welcoming We walked into Central Rome each day it was about 50 mins but tram bus just outside Excellent location We slept throughout the night Heads up there is a fridge but looks like a cupboard found on the morning of leaving and there is a hairdryer in the walldrobe as we lived out off our suitcases On arrival paid 36 euros ?? Tourist tax ?? But seemed rather pricey Overall excellent accommodation

"Clean comfprtable"
RitaF1119, 22 Octobre 2023

Nice clean hotel in the university area. Walking distance to trains, metro and buses. Friendly and helpful service. They helped us with directions to navigate the city. Across the street from a wonderful little cafe.

"Nice hotel"
gemxoxo, 24 Septembre 2023

Hotel was clean, quiet and modern. The staff were helpful and were friendly. We had a double economy room, which still had lots of space and even a small balcony. The bed was huge considering it was an economy room and very comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit small and the bath was tiny! We had to take off the shower head to have a shower due to it being quite low, but we still found it okay to use everyday. The safe in the room didn't work so we couldn't use this and there was only a rail and shelf to put clothes as there was no wardrobe. Our room was located right outside a lift but luckily we didn't get too much noise from other guests. Breakfast was okay with a range of continental options however, there were limited hot food choices which we found a bit disappointing. The hotel is situated about a 20 minute taxi ride outside of the main tourist locations, so it isn't within walking distance to get to them. We got taxis to all of the main attractions which you could also ask for at reception, this was fine for us. There is also a Metro located nearby so there is this option as well for transport but we didn't use it whilst we were here. There aren't really a lot of restaurants nearby for dinner just cafes, so we stayed out all day by the main attractions and came back to the hotel after we ate. Overall the hotel was good value for money and is okay if you don't mind not staying in the direct centre where the attractions are.

"Absolutely fine"
824happyh, 24 Septembre 2023

I was worried after having read previous reviews. However, it's a busy hotel in a busy Student area but it's absolutely fine and value for money. You can walk up to the metro which takes 5 mins max and be in the centre in a couple of stops. If you go right out of the hotel, in 5 mins will be in the district area with lots of food choices. Breakfast room is small but didn't have to queue and good choice of continental food, if you like coffee ask the waitresses for a proper one from the barista machine ! Rooms small but serviced every day and wow had sky and a couple of movie channels for us oldies that don't party all night and free aircon - we have had to pay for aircon in our last hotel ! There was a slight musty smell in the room but goes if you just air it. You get the tea and coffee facilities in the room and it is paper cups but when you have a bar on the corner doing Italian coffee you can just pop over. Finally the students are all so lovely and polite.

"Do not choose this hotel if you travel by car"
madarakr, 17 Août 2023

Do not choose this hotel if you travel by car Disliked · Worst hotel experience ever. Here is why: 1) You can hear everything what's happening in the room next door and on the hallways. There are no carpets on the hallway, you can hear every one bringing their luggage and talking. We had especially loud family next doors shouting in the hallways and inside their rooms. 2) We have traveled a lot and first time ever we had to stand in line for breakfast - it means to stand in line and wait while families before you eat so you have a free table. We already had a family of four in the line ahead of us. After 15 minutes it became embarrassing to just stand there, so we left. Breakfast was not included and this "service" cost 9eur/per person. 2) Very shady neighborhood, lots of homeless people. We supposed to stay three nights, but decided to leave already in the third day, because after a long day in beautiful Rome there is no way to rest because of the noise in hallways and rooms next door. We decided to leave, paid for three nights and then came the cherry on top: 3) Our car window was broken, car was left at the back entrance of the hotel. When checking-in we asked if it is safe to leave the car there. Receptionist said yes, just take all your belongings from the car. Which we did. Car was empty, window was hit anyway, probably early in the morning. Ok, it could happen anywhere, but the attitude from hotel was terrible. Kids were crying, we tried to contact insurance, but receptionist was not interested at all to suggest something or help us in any way. She didn't even bother to come have a look at the window where the car was. Which means that this is probably ordinary thing there, no cameras of course on that side of the street. When I asked if she could contact any car service, she suggested that we call ourselves to the company that starts to work in 3 hours and where probably no-one speaks English.

"Great hotel"
Kat_bibi_1993, 13 Août 2023

Great hotel, clean and in a good location in terms of accessibility to shops and all the landmarks. Friendly staff and clean rooms. They have mini fridge in the rooms, balconies, large family rooms and a very good selection for breakfast. Very good hotel.

"Mehhhh"
ianbQ5301HX, 07 Août 2023

Upon arriving we was very impressed. Pleasant staff and welcoming atmosphere. The reception area is nicely decorated and we were looking forward to getting to our room. ( area tax needs to be paid upon arrival ) Upon entering our room we were quickly let down. Tiny room, poorly decorated and the shower ( no bath ) is only big enough for a small person. I'm 6ft 2” and I had to squeeze in. The shower screens fell off so I put them to one side. The cleaners come in and make your bed but don't clean the room. The breakfast is boring so I wouldn't bother paying for that. Personally I would just use it as a b&b and look at it as somewhere to lay your head.

"Bed bugs and poor management "
Carisa S, 02 Juillet 2023

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. I had bed bugs and was locked outside of another room for three hours. I asked for my stay to be discounted and payment for my medical care. The manager, Rosella Fiorenza, has been awful to deal with. She refuses to compensate me in any manner. The bookkeeper actually informed me that bed bugs are common at this hotel because of all the tourist! Please do not book this hotel. The manager is highly unprofessional and incompetent. I have attached pictures as proof of the bed bugs!

"Terrible"
sandravi8906, 02 Juillet 2023

We spend 3 nights at roma. We stayed here but no good impression at all. Even the room is spacious, but they dont give you any amenities. Even a cup cofee they give a cup paper, and plastic cup for brush your teeth. The last night in rome, my brother lost a passport, we can't call any roma number from our phone, so we go down and ask for help to w . They call a taxi company, but when we ask to help call our embassy, he said this is not personal phone.. Oh my God.. he really not helpful!! First night at this hotel, our kettle is broke, make electricity down.. and this hotel far from tourist area. Breakfast variety just a little. The good thing with this hotel, they have their own barista at the breakfast, and the room spacious.

"Clean and friendly "
Lisa L, 28 Juin 2023

If you're wanting to be central this isn't the hotel for you, it's 4 metro stops to the colosseum and a 5 min walk to the metro €1.50 each. Taxis ranged from €13-18. However the hotel is lovely, apart from the check in delay, should've been 2pm but it was 2:30 and we had to keep asking, they did provide a breakfast to go on a day we were out early so couldn't make breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious (it wasn't an economy room), fresh towels/tidy each day. Only 1 lift appeared to be working but not a problem. Breakfast good value and lots of Choice. WiFi intermittent depending where in the room we were.

"Magical Italy"
brendae400, 02 Juin 2023

From the moment we checked in to the hotel every member of staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. Our room was large and spacious and spotless. The housekeepers did a fab job and our room was made up while we were out and the large fluffy towels were replaced daily. The breakfast room served a delicious continental breakfast with the addition of bacon and scrambled eggs along with all the usual fresh baked goods, fresh fruit, cereals, tea and coffee in abundance and several flavoured local honeys ensured a fantastic start to each day. It's located in the university district so early morning and 5-7pm it was hustle and bustle as the students made their was to school but after that it was Loveland quiet at night. A short walk to the metro and onward to every attraction made it very well situated.

"Great clean and pleasant base for exploring Rome"
Amy D, 25 Mai 2023

Hotel was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Staff generally excellent, however hotel reception hit and miss depending who was on shift. Check in and out very swift. Access to the City easy via metro

"Unfriendly Staff with Very Bad Attitudes"
SamQuant7, 24 Novembre 2022

The hotel as a whole is ok. The location is convenient and our room was large by European standards . The Filipino housekeeping lady was nice and accommodating but this is where the good things stop. The Italian reception and restaurant staff were uniformly rude and unfriendly. They never smiled, answered you with a bad attitude and behaved as if they were doing you a favor. One exception is an older male receptionist who was nice. The breakfast was the same every single day. Italians in general are very friendly people but this hotel's staff were really terrible.

"100% would recommend "
M7900WKhb8, 17 Novembre 2022

I would definitely recommend this hotel for those visiting Rome on a slightly cheaper budget. We booked last minute and wanted a cheaper getaway and I'm normally really fussy at where I stay, so read a lot of the reviews before we booked. I would have no hesitation staying here again. Hotel was really clean, housekeeping each day, breakfast was help yourself with a good selection (I would recommend going earlier as gets busy around 9.30). Rooms were slightly outdated but not bad. We were given a suite which had an extra bed and bathroom, so this was great for friends, meaning we could have our own separate rooms. Check in/check out was good and there was one lady on reception who would always say hello as we passed. Location was about 10 mins walk to closest metro. There was also shops/restaurants within a short walking distance If you didn't want to venture out too far. It is in a student area, so there are a lot of students around in the weekdays. Weekend was actually fairly quiet. It's about a 40 mins walk into the main centre, but metros are easy to use.

"Great location, needs a makeover"
kimbrennin, 16 Novembre 2022

This hotel by the university is in dire need of a makeover. A ten minute walk to the metro in a neighborhood full of bars and restaurants to eat at. The mattress was very hard as were the pillows but still comfortable. The furniture is old and tired but not in disrepair. The bathroom was complete and shower was fine with plenty of hot water but again, old and tired. Breakfast was good and definitely ask for coffee at the bar.

"Great city break"
fayeby51, 05 Octobre 2022

Beautiful and clean hotel with amazingly spacious rooms. This hotel was a lot better than I expected. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great too. It is a little walk out of the centre of Rome (about 35 minutes) but we didn't mind as we had some great meals from little restaurants we saw on the walk in that we wouldn't have if we got the metro. There is a metro very close by though if you don't want to walk. This was our first trip to Rome and we would definitely book here again! It's an amazing city!

"Best Western Globus Rome"
susanwest4, 03 Octobre 2022

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff and breakfast were excellent. The room was very clean. Being close to a metro station and Termini Station, made it easy to travel around Rome and to Florence. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and would always stay here when in Rome.

"Our stay"
Elviis96, 19 Août 2022

When we arrived we were not able to check in so staff allowed us to wait in the lobby which was welcome after a long journey. Room was small but comfortable with firm bed, rain forest style shower and other amenities that you may need (hair dryer, kettle etc). Cleniness of the room was exceptional. Towels were fresh every day as was the bed linen and the bins changed. On our third day we'd noticed that the small fridge in the room hadn't been restocked which, upon query, we were told would be an extra charge after the third day of our stay. Another charge we were also caught out with was something known as "city tax" which we had not been informed of until we'd arrived and were expected to pay upfront. If of a morning we hadn't been for breakfast nobody seemed bothered or queried if we were OK. Communication, more so the lack of, from reception and front of house staff left a lot to be desired. On the 6th night of our stay, which I will add was the hottest at 32°c, our air conditioning gave out which led to reception staff bringing a fan to our room at 3am as this couldn't be rectified until the morning. This also happened the following night. The room was practical and ideal for what we needed but there is also room for improvement

"Room and beds provided"
Beryl H, 08 Août 2022

We understood we would have a room with 3 beds for my daughter, my grandson and myself. in fact we had two double beds, obviously embarrassing for all concerned. It was to late to do anything about it, should I be entitled to a reduction.

"Better Than Expected"
_k-l-h-b-95_, 27 Mai 2022

We weren't quite sure what this hotel would be like as we had never been to Rome before but found this hotel to be very cheap. We arrived and checked in very helpful gave us a map and room key. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel was beautiful not something we expected for the price we had paid. (We realised the price was probably due to the hotel not being right in the centre of all the tourist stops but managed with the Metro to pop to different places from the hotel) Our room was a hight floor but was huge, 2 double beds area for our bags and a walk in wardrobe with a balcony, the bathroom was beautiful and a huge shower (big enough for all 3 of us to fit in!!) not much in terms of views but we were happy with what we had. Breakfast was more than expected so much variety toast, cereal, jams, scrambled egg l, bacon etc. Only problem we encountered were no ashtray for cigarettes, and one lift was out of order. We can't wait to visit Rome again and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wasn't to visit Rome. Metro station is also located close to Hotel.

"Wonderful stay"
muddsticks, 01 Mai 2022

We spent a long weekend in Rome and booked this hotel for 3 nights it was fabulous. We had the junior suite and was plenty big enough for 4 adults, balcony was wonderful to sit outside of a morning and evening. Cleaners were great, while place was very clean Staff were always present and very helpful. Breakfast was a great way to start the day- fresh food topped up at all times. This hotel is situated outside from the madness of tourist attractions but is just a 5 minute walk from the Metro line, 1 minute walk to bus and tram statins all are easy to access anything you want to see. 100% recommend this hotel and we shall be retuning for a return visit.

"Fantastic hotel away from tourists,"
Jaime R, 01 Avril 2022

We recently spent two weeks in Rome. It was our base as we picked up our son from a local hospital. The staff was friendly and helpful as we needed assistance with our son. The rooms were clean and accessible to all services. Breakfast was great and fantastic coffee bar every morning. I enjoyed the area it was close to a local university and seeing the college students was inspiring as you saw them dreaming of their future. I would encourage you to stay there. It's away from all the local tourists traps but just a quick Uber ride to the local attractions.

"Merchandiser"
48phyllisy, 13 Mars 2022

This was the best hotel until my car was broken into on March 11. No one said anything to me except when one of the managers was outside sweeping up glass. She said she was sorry this happened. After that, I called downstairs Saturday afternoon to verify my reservation extension and I was told yep we have it, you're good til the 20th. This morning I got a knock on the door from housekeeping and she asked if I was checking out and I told her no. Later I got a call from the front desk that that do not have anything about an extension. I told them I have hotel confirmation, but she didn't want it. Then I left for lunch and came back and my key wouldn't work. I went downstairs and told Edwardo. He made me new keys. I went to my room and they didn't work, so I called Edwardo and let him know that they didn't work either. He said all he can do is make new keys, and I asked him to bring them to me and he said he couldn't leave the front desk because he was the only one there. So I went downstairs, returned my keys and he asked what did it do when I tried to use the keys. I told him nothing just like the others, no noise no color of any kind. I called their corporate office to tell them what was happening and during that time Edwardo left the front desk went into another room and came out. Corporate said that she had spoken with Edwardo and he is going to help me get in. He came up here and at first there was no light but the mechanism worked. I asked what did he do to them and he said these are the 2 you returned. The lady at corporate said he was calling master(?). So apparently whoever he called told him what to do to make them work. Will NEVER stay in another Best Western.

"First visit under new Covid rues "
840marko, 14 Juillet 2020

With new Covid rules our stay at Globus was always going to be different from our previous visits but must say almost everything went well, sanitiser at the entrance, face mask wearing required in public areas went well except on our last day while at breakfast a family of 4 arrived for breakfast and the youngest a boy aged about 8 clearly seemed beyond the control of his parents and failed to sanitise his hands at the entrance of the restaurant and then decided to wander around the breakfast area with a face covering using drink dispensers which everybody else had followed the rules and allowed the staff get these to reduce the risk of cross contamination but it later became quite clear of why the child had little care following Covid advice when the father also thought it was fine for himself to wander around without a face mask and like his child helping himself which the staff had done for the rest of us, it's a shame families like this have little regard to their duty and the hospitality industry has been through enough without all the progress being thrown away by selfish people, pic of the offender attached, other than this the Hotel provided an excellent service in difficult circumstances and hope that business gets back to the level it should be for this good hotel, the hotel is situated without half a mile of the Metro station and bus and tram services, their are restaurants, bars and cafes close to the hotel and it is situated in a quiet neighbourhood

"Highly recommended"

Friendly staff, nice breakfast including GLUTEN FREE products, clean rooms. The location is perfect for me, as it is close to the university i'm visiting, walking distance to the metro station and to the shopping area.

"Ok room and breakfast but no internet"
861beath, 30 Novembre 2019

Was there for 2 nights and it was somehow ok but not more. Rooms are average at best and breakfast is ok. What really upset me was that despite talking with reception they could not fix internet in the 5th floor. Absolutely not working, so for every mail I had to go down to lobby. Not really acceptable in these days.

"Our home for nearly 3 weeks"
MrSteady, 20 Novembre 2019

Because my wife was in the Policlinico Umberto II hospital up the road my 8 year-old grandson and I had an extended stay here. For us it was home, not just a place to sleep while on holiday. We chose this hotel because it was close to the hospital, not because of its facilities. However it has all the one needs to enjoy a stay. It is close to the metro, to trams and easy walking to Termini for trains to other cities. There is a full range of shops just down the road including supermarket and a large covered produce market, and many very reasonably priced eateries too. The buffet breakfast has a multinational menu - cake and nutella for the Italians, cold meat and cheese for the Dutch and Germans, sausage and scrambled egg with toast and jam for the Brits, and muesli, fresh fruit and youghurt for the health conscious Our room was spacious, bed comfortable and well serviced, always immaculately cleaned daily. The leaky toilet and sink kept me from giving 5 stars. But it was the friendly, helpful, courteous and concerned staff that really made our stay here not just a room and a bed; they made us feel at home. Thank you. I hope we can return again one day.

"Great"
TomM697, 07 Novembre 2019

Found all staff to be very pleasant. Good location around the University. Found it easy to walk to termini and then big red bus around rome. Room was a good base. Breakfast was good too. Do agree with people who say you can hear everything but it never bothered us

"Perfect base for Rome trip"
Flamingopink1, 05 Novembre 2019

We spent three nights at the Best western globus in Rome. Although not in the centre it was a great base. Good breakfast and fresh coffee, juices etc Room economy double, great room which was clean and provided a large comfy bed much needed after all the walking. Good size towels and great power shower. Reception staff helpful and accommodating. Would recommend if you don't want to be in the centre of things.

"Dirty Rooms with Bugs Beware!"
famousvape, 12 Octobre 2019

This hotel has bad management that doesn't speak english. Our room was old, dirty, dated and had bugs. Hot water lasted for 30 seconds. We checked in and the elevator didn't even work properly. That should've been a sign. We left the same day because the hotel desk clerk couldn't move us to a different room. The hotel never refunded our money. Its also hard to get transportation near this location. Just stay away....

"A clean hotel in a dirty city."
Michaela N, 09 Octobre 2019

I had a nice room with a big terrace on the fitts floor. From the terrace we had a nice view. The room was quit small but wit a confortable bed and clean bedclothes . The batroom was big we could dance inside . When we arrived the room was ready for our stay. At the front desk the staff was polite and helpful. the breakfast room was very nice decorated. Now its come with some bed experience. One of the elevators was two days out of service so we had to wait several minutes to have access to the other elevator. Our room was noisy day and night. The hotel does not have a restaurant to order for lunch and a dinner. To eat when you arrive it is a problem. In the neighborhood there are only few small snack bars with pizza and sandwiches surrounded by garbage. In general the street in Rome are very dirty. If you want to buy food or medicine on Sunday it is a big problem. On Sunday all the shops are closed so you should go to the Central Station.( Statione Termini )

"Wrong hotel for us."
Alan G, 07 Octobre 2019

We chose the Best Western as in the UK we use them & expected it to be great. Oh dear thats where things went wrong. We was welcomed on reception by a very grumpy man (dark hair and glasses) at that point we realised we was in the wrong place, not what we was expecting at all on our happy family holiday. And i can sympathise with a preivous reviewer about someone being argumentative, my feel we met the same person! We watched everyone else being welcomed and everything explained to by nice happy ladies, this man was VERY different. It wasn't a great start. Our room we had booked was in our imagination, he told us they don't even have a room like that on the floor requested. That shows you can not trust to book a set room you have seen advertised. We had even rang from the UK to double check on that set room and yes everything was fine. Next day with our bathroom intermittently smelling of drains & another encounter with this awful man, the room that they don't have there was suddenly there again. Very noisy onto the front street to the main road. The breaktfast staff were proffesional and there was a great selection for everyone. The bus stop for the termini was just over the road so that was very handy. I must say we did put on the booking we wanted to know about the shuttle transport but no one has mentioned it. We booked a private transfer in the end which i'm pleased we did. This hotel do on their room info offer free airport transport but personally after our experience we made the right decision, as trust was lost! I can see if someone else had checked us in we would have had a different service. We sat in the foyer 1 1/2hours waiting for our room to be ready and i watched how the different reception staff treated customers. So i can see how the different reviews mention great reception, they got served by the bubbly smiley ladies. Unfortunately the reception is the first port of call, and the man ruined it for us on arrival.

"good location, average amenities"
azeynep, 08 Septembre 2019

+ Good breakfast + Good location + Fast check-in and check-out - It was annoying to open the door as the card wasn't always working instantly. Changing the card didn't work. - My room had very thin or unisolated walls, which enabled a lot of neighbor noise. - The shower head in the bath tub is installed on the side of the bath tub, so all the water hit the flimsy curtain, which created a pool of water in the bathroom without a proper drainage hole. - The room is full of styrofoam and plastic cups. Putting one regular cup in the room avoid all the waste. - My room was cleaned when I was away but I hadn't used the "please make room" sign on the door. So someone enters my room when my stuff were all over the place and I hadn't placed my towels on the "change towels" spot. I think it was wasteful to change my towels anyway. There is a recommendation to reuse towels to avoid wasteful behavior and I wouldn't have asked for new towels one day before I check-out. I would have to stay here again because of its good location but there is certainly room for improvement.

"A Big Disappointment"
brucelesser, 03 Septembre 2019

Not Worth The Stay The room was so small that two people were not comfortable. There were no draws or places to hang cloths. The bathroom was falling apart. Very disappointed. Some staff were nice others were arguementative.

"Best service and location"
Gariboy, 01 Septembre 2019

Staying for 7 days at the hotel. Room is average but the service is great. Breakfast was good..Location was close to the bus stop going to termini station which is perfect if your travelling with kids.

"Service"
Natercia R, 30 Août 2019

I am from Canada and had never been in Rome, stayed a week at this hotel. Amazing and funny front desk staff, very clean, full breakfast included and amazing. We arrived before check in time, front desk made us very comfortable, offered to confirm on our behalf all our tours and activities. Provided us with a list of places to go and prices, different types of restaurants depending what we were looking for and we went to a tour very early morning and the prepared breakfast along with snacks since it was a 3 hour drive. Nat Rodrigues ***** 5 star for is

"It is a very good hotel"
T S, 15 Août 2019

Stayed with family of five(three teens) in this hotel for 9 days. We got a big family room on the 4th floor. We had two double and one sofa bed. They are clean, big and good beds but not sure about the quality of the the sofa bed. The rooms are very clean as they get cleaned daily. There is a kettle and a fridge in the room .We got bottles of sparkling water in our fridge everyday which was very helpful as Rome was really very hot at the time of our stay. Breakfast was good too though it was a bit repetitive. The staff are very helpful. The location is great. Tram number 3 and 19 are 2 minutes walk away from the hotel. Bus number 310 stops right opposite the hotel. The metro station called Policlinco is 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. So, it wasn't difficult for us to get to where we want to. We didn't need to pay for a taxi at anytime. In short, Hotel Globus is great value for money. The only negative comment is that we were asked at the check-out to pay 180 euros for city tax. We know there was a tax to pay but we didn't expect to be that much. Nevertheless, we might still come back to Globus Hotel.

"Nice Hotel"
niksmatic, 08 Août 2019

Comfortable and clean hotel. About 10 steps to climb up when you get there so be warned. Our room was on the 4th floor and had two double beds. Beds were hard but I liked that. 4 Towels were left out for us daily without us having to chase anyone Breakfast was good and there was a limited amount but well replenished. There is a 4 euro per person per day supplement added on. We stayed for 5 extra hours and payed 30 euro for a late checkout. The metro station was about 15 mins walk away. It's quite hot now in August so you might want to take a cab. The bus doesn't come often. Hair dryer is in the room and not bathroom. Dove hand wash and shampoo/body wash available in the bathroom.

"Location not the best"
waterbabe18, 29 Juillet 2019

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights in early July. Firstly I must say that the hotel itself is lovely and I would give it 4 stars, but if considering location too then 3 stars. The staff are very pleasant, the breakfast was lovely and at €5 pp it was great value for all on offer. We had a family room which was ample in size, for 5 of us and had a fridge which was very handy. We had 2 double beds and a couch opened into a bed too. The air con worked well and was a gift as it was so hot when we were there. The tv had some English channels too which we eventually figured out! You have to go into the settings and change the language, only available on a couple of channels but we weren't there often enough. Was nice to catch up with Wimbledon when we got home in the evening. My biggest gripe was the location. The subway station was about 10-15 walk and the tram/bus stops a bit closer. You need to buy tickets in advance if getting bus or tram as a few times the tobacconist was closed across from hotel and we had to go to a further one. The metro station is so hot, it was roasting when we were there, which put us off. Also there was an escalator down but not up so there was about 90 steps up to road level when you get off metro. Not great for my dodgy knee! The buses were much cooler but you could be standing ages waiting. The public transport is very lax in comparison to other European countries we've been to. No timetable at all. We had the app on our phone and regularly it said bus in 6 minutes and we'd still be waiting 30 minutes later! None of this is the hotels fault of course but worth considering. We felt we would've come back to hotel in the afternoon for a rest ,as it was so hot, and go out again in the evening but it was too much hassle with the transport. The University is near and as it was summer it was very quiet area. Not much atmosphere. Places closed early too. Really good hotel but wouldn't stay again due to the location.

"Great hotel "
840marko, 19 Juillet 2019

Enjoyed our stay at the Globus, was able to check in a little early on arrival, the reception staff on arrival were very helpful and the room was very spacious with a fridge with free water courtesy of the hotel. Breakfast was included which was a wide range of options from scrambled egg, bacon and sausage to pastries, cereals, yogurt with barista coffee available. The hotel is conveniently located to the Metro a five minute walk along with bus and trams stops close by, there is a market close by along with a variety of food outlets, only niggles were when asking for an additional room card the member of staff on duty at night said he could not issue one even though on the welcome booklet in the room it stated you could have one as this also enabled the power to the rooms lights and power sockets so you could charge your electric equipment.

"Good basic hotel near University"
CarolR1393, 17 Juillet 2019

I would probably have given this hotel a 3 1/2 if allowed. The location is good if you need to stay near the university and it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the big train station. The neighborhood is a bit run down and the hotel itself has graffiti on it, which makes it seem shabby. There are several places to grab a quick to go meal, but we couldn't find any good restaurants that weren't a 15 minute walk. The rooms are fine, if basic. There is a mini fridge and they give guests bottled water, which is great. The bathroom is roomy. Some rooms have balconies but ours did not. I think a balcony would have improved the stay. The internet was frustrating - we kept getting kicked off. The staff arranged a car to the airport which was great - nicer and cheaper than a cab.

"Stay at Globus"
arupkumardatta, 15 Juillet 2019

We stayed from 16th June to 20th June 19 . We were 3 adults. The hotel had a great breakfast and the room was very comfortable. The pickup and drop to FCO was on time and very comfortable. The only complain is the internet.. mostly slow and unreliable. Needs improvement.

"Good Hotel"
Kitu N, 12 Juillet 2019

It was about 15 min walk from metro station. The staff was friendly. We reached the hotel in the morning about 10am and they gave us our room in the morning itself. That was great favor on us. The hotel was clean.

"Noisy rooms, unstable internet connections "
carola204, 30 Mai 2019

Good location, less than 10mins walk to the nearest metro station. Helpful staff, good breakfast. BUT, It was very noisy in our room, the walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING on the streets. Also there's a hospital and first aid station nearby so lots of ambulance drive by.

"Nice choice for a family."
nrenven, 01 Mai 2019

This 3-star hotel is very well situated in a quiet (university) neighborhood, quite close to the city center yet on the opposite side of the city, considering the Fiumicino airport position. It stands approximately 2-3 km from the main sites of the city center which is no problem considering the plurality of options of public transportation means. The quadruple room we stayed in, was quite small with an open small closet, a small refrigerator, and a 32 inch TV set. Some rooms have been renovated as you can see in the official hotel's photos but the one we have been given on the fifth floor was not fully renovated with a bathroom that needs to be maintained yet very clean and tidy. One of the main strong points of the hotel is the quality of housekeeping services. Excellent cleaning and very tidy!! The hotel claims to offer free internet which never worked properly (very low internet speed which turned the service into a useless one). Breakfast is served in an American buffet style, in a tidy small hall which is the hotel's restaurant, in the basement. It consists of some average breakfast options. Good, but nothing special. No bar services in the lobby (either way it is not very attractive) apart from complimentary offered filter coffee and water. Lastly, there is a parking garage in the back of the hotel. Kudos to the Best Western customer support through Messenger which kept us updated about our reservation, offered us information about the hotel's facilities and helped us to check in online prior to our arrival. Kudos also to the very friendly and helpful personnel.

"Thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay!"
iselinvictoriaa, 22 Avril 2019

fantastic hotel with super service from the staff. we were welcomed, taken good care of during our stay and had a quick check out. If we had any questions then we got good help from the staff and quick room service. We were suprised and happy, we got such a big room with balcony and bathtub, thanks!! the breakfast was good where you get fresh coffee made by an employee. recommend anyone who wants a trip to a quiet safe area, where you are not far from many historical places. It is very easy to get to and from the hotel. They might not have food in the evening, but they helped us gladly to where to go and there is a lot of nice and good restaurants around the area if you dont want to go faar from the hotel. definitely recommended. Thank you to all the staff at Best Western Globus Hotel, you guys made our stay a great one!

"Visit to Rome"
lolly1925, 07 Avril 2019

Stayed here for 5 nights, room basic but comfortable, small shower. Lovely buffet breakfast, plenty of options, can get very busy. Serve a lunch buffet but no food in evenings or drinks either except vending machines which was a but of a let down. Good transport connections on metro (2 stops to main train station), tram no 3 goes very near Colossuem in one direction and tram 19 to Vatican. Would stay again.

"Decentralized but decent hotel"
giordimarco, 30 Mars 2019

Very nice hotel with large and comfortable rooms. It is not very central, although there are plenty of transportation options. Wide selection of breakfast options, but sweet and salty. Very friendly staff at the reception.

"Family visit to Rome"
andrewtA2170JW, 21 Février 2019

Lovely hotel with such lovely staff. Breakfasts are stunning with lots of choice from bacon sandwiches, fruit cocktail, cereals, continental ham, bread & cheese and coffee bar. Lots of delicious cakes see picture. We will definitely be back.

"The bad, the good and the ugly"
caversham43, 18 Février 2019

So let's start with some good. Nearly all the staff were really lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The guy with black, round glasses dealt with complaints by simply offering a withering smile and then ignoring the issue (being unable to sleep for 2 out of 4 nights due to noisy neighbours who kept us awake til the early hours was a pretty reasonable complaint). The hotel is in the university area and the surrounding streets are pretty dirty and noisy. It's a fairly ugly building from the outside. Our first floor room was clean and serviceable but felt tired and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was all inclusive with a broad selection of pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, bacon, scrambled eggs etc. The cooked meats on offer were low quality but seemed to go down a treat with families making rolls for picnics. The coffee was good, with the option of barista or cup to bean machine. They offer a €10 buffet lunch/evening meal in the strangely named The Game restaurant (?) but we opted against trying it. In summary, would I return? Nope. Were the staff helpful and polite? Yes, all but one. Is it a noisy hotel? Yes it needs better glazing and thicker walls!

"Rome visit"
mark_bfe, 17 Février 2019

Spent 4 nights in this hotel, clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom. Sky tv an fridge with water, tea an coffee also provided along with a free breakfast. All in all great value for money. Must add a little from central Rome but used the metro so only 10 minutes from main attractions.

"Location is a bit off"
Hazen S, 16 Février 2019

Hotel staff is great and helped with anything we needed. The breakfast was also great being a buffet style for €10 per person and kids u der 5 eat free. The Location was a bit off though. We were about a 25 minute walk away from anything we wanted to see. The cabs were cheap enough to just hop in and go anywhere we wanted so it wasn't that big of a deal.

"A good hotel very close to Rome University "La Sapienza""
stefanonicotri, 31 Janvier 2019

The position of the Best Western Globus Hotel hotel is fantastic if you have to attend events close to Rome "La Sapienza" main university site. The hotel is nice, my room was quite big (more like a suite, composed of a corridor, a sitting room, a bathroom and a bathroom), quiet and clean, with all the services I need. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Roma - Best Western Hotel Globus"
PISICAANA, 22 Janvier 2019

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We felt great. We were welcomed by the very friendly staff at the reception and got the room before the check-in time. The hotel is located in a quiet and clean area of the city, near the Policlinico Metro Station. From the subway to the hotel I walked for a 10 minutes. Next to the hotel is the tram stop which takes you to the city center. The room had 2 beds and a sofa, all very comfortable. The bathroom is large and very clean with a shower cabin. Breakfast was delicious, quality and very varied (cheese, ham, salami, butter, various kinds of bread, jam, butter, honey, milk, coffee, eggs, various sweets etc.). You can order free cappuccino, espresso or coffee if you do not like the coffee from the coffee machine (I found it very good from coffee machine, it is Lavazza ground on the spot ..). A minus: at breakfast we did not have vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers). On the last day, we left our luggage in the luggage room - it's free of charge. I recommend this hotel. It is a fair quality versus price.

"Amazing staying in central Rome near Sapienza area"
Coastal54290129960, 08 Janvier 2019

I have booked this hotel for 5 days. Everything sas Amazing, the staff is welcoming and suitable. The breakfast is delicious and every person ego work dir the hotel is kind. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND BIG WITH A BALCON. I WILL BE BACK SOON THANK SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING

"Enjoyable stay!"
Sudeshna G, 30 Décembre 2018

We enjoyed our stay with this Hotel! We stayed here for two nights with our twin children. Rooms were very cozy, comfortable and very clean. The hotel was well connected and easy to reach. The Termini bus station was just easy to access. The bathrooms were ckean with fresh change of towels. However while taking a shower the entire bathroom would get wet which was quite disadvantageous. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

"Good Hotel!"
Munganet, 29 Décembre 2018

First visit to rome! Was little surprised by the location of the hotel, but I should say, lovely family hotel, as it gives you good value to money. Kids loved the bunk bed, and good spacious rooms, was clean and had all the requirement what one wants. Staff right from the reception to the room service to waiters at the restaurant are very polite and helpful. Maria at the reception, made us feel very welcome and helped us with all the questions we had. Thank you

"Convenient location and cozy hotel"
QUANG B, 10 Décembre 2018

BW Globus is conveniently located close to Sapienza University of Rome (500 meters), and walking distance to metro station (800 meters). The hotel has a small lobby. The single room is small, but clean and cozy. The hotel amenities are bare minimum (just soap and shampoo) so bring your own personal stuffs. The breakfast is great and would satisfy almost everybody with fruits, cold cuts, cereals, croissants, hot items, excellent espresso and latte, etc., The lunch buffet is abundant, good, at a very reasonable price (10 euros). The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. For transportation to and from the airport, advance reservation through the hotel is highly suggested. For the price paid, it's worth it.

"Not too bad."
Lesley B, 04 Décembre 2018

Good hotel, not too far from termini station.Good breakfast, can get very busy, you may have to wait.Beds are very, very hard, didn't get much sleep,Quiet area, but short walk to cafes and shops, not many restaurantsTiny lift, fits 2 with 2 suitcases.Overall not too bad.

"Life saver"
louisew963, 19 Novembre 2018

After being sent to an awful hotel by our holiday provider and an impending booking for a tour, we had to find somewhere quick! Luckily, the best western had a spare room for the 2 nights we had in Rome, and can honestly say it was the best £90 I ever spent. After thinking we would be stuck at an awful hotel this best western was a thankful escape... 4 stops away from Colesseo metro stop and very safe in the evening as it is along a Main Street next to a hospital and the university, so always lots of people around, about a 5-10 minute walk away from the metro stop. Thaw staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable, and that's all we were looking for in a rush due to our circumstances. Would stay here again! You always know what you get with a best western, it could have done with a few patch ups but for what you pay it's worth it. Thank you Best Western for saving us!

"Hotel where staff cares about guests"
Robert R, 16 Novembre 2018

it's not a big hotel, it's not a new facility. But you will feel good there. It's well places, 500 meters from metro station Policilinico and few metro stations away from biggest Rome attractions. It's just few steps away from Rome biggest university La Sapienza. Traffic gets very heavy from 6AM and the walls are really not very thick. The best part of my experience was the staff. From morning at the breakfast room (where they make delicious cofee), to the reception people, who are very kind, to the cleaning department - very efficient. You really get the feeling they genuinly care about their guests. Beds are ok, rooms are clean, bathrooms well equipped.

"Excelent"
Ana C, 14 Novembre 2018

Just came back from 4 nights stay with my 2 boys and husband. As me and husband both work in hotels, I was a bit afraid. All i can say is that we were very happy with hotel. It was very clean, tea and coffee facilities, with lemon juice and honey... The bed was perfect, bathroom clean, room cleaned every day. Hotel is in good position, we were using metro all the time, but it's not too far even for walking. Buffet breakfast had everything you can desire. We are very satisfied that we chose this hotel.

"Great hotel for short break in Rome"
Fefa-London, 13 Novembre 2018

Me and my husband just came back from a 3 days break in Rome, we stayed at the Best Western Globus Hotel and we highly recommend this hotel. Nice and clean spacious rooms, great breakfast and close to the Policlinico metro station which is two stops from Colosseum, with easy access from/to airport by train to Termini station. Also some nice restaurants within walking distance and I especially recommend L'Ambasciata Calebrese restaurant which is located 2 min from this hotel on the block opposite. Had the best meal while in Rome, great food and very affordable price. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Rome.

"Great place to stay, great staff!!"
Phil_r562, 27 Octobre 2018

Had a 3 night family break here, for a budget hotel the stay was great staff friendly and helpful. Can not remember the receptionist name but after a long journey was made to feel very welcome even though my son was playing the piano in reception at the time of check in. This hotel is only 2 stops from central rome and 10 minutes by bus both accessible from the hotel. Room was very clean with all amenities, a great place to stay.

"Lovely hotel"
Lisa J, 26 Octobre 2018

We have just come back from a 3 day trip to Rome and we stayed at this hotel. It is lovely the staff were very friendly and hotel was spotless. Our first night we stayed on 1st floor but the traffic noise was to loud so we asked to be moved which the hotel kindly did we went then to the 4th floor which was better. We had a famiy room which held 6 and was spacious enough. The subway policlinico is about a 10 min walk and this takes you into the heart of rome. The breakfast at this hotel was lovely plenty of choice and replemished often. If you dont want to be right in the centre of Rome this hotel is a good choice.

"Rome visit"
pirtek1, 22 Octobre 2018

We have just got back from our wonderful stay in Rome. This hotel is a great place to stay it is very clean and tidy. It is very easy to get to the local metro there is a stall opposite the hotel that sells metro tickets. Once in the metro you have only a few stops the you are in the centre off Rome. There is a lovely bistro next to the hotel that sell a little food and some good cakes and alcohol. We went to St. Peter's basilica it is free to get in but you have to que for a while. If you wanted to go into the top then there is a charge. We also went to see the mouth of truth it is also free. The only problem we had was my children and my wife got really bad bites all over there bodies. It seams that when they woke up in the morning they was worse.

"Rome neighbourhood, not like I pictured it!"
Kathie K, 19 Octobre 2018

Enjoyed the neighbourhood, especially walking around between finding a restaurant & finding the metro station. Discovered an interesting but fun thing called Happy Hour. It is not what North Americans think it is, & was a real treasure, not far from our hotel.

"an hospitable hotel close to the center of Rome!"
francescogianturco, 05 Octobre 2018

it is very convenient to stay in this hotel if one wishes to visit Rome and also stay in a quiet area without noisy streets around you at night. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you and you can easily travel to the old city either by bus or with short taxi rides.

"Good Experience"
LightPacker302985, 09 Septembre 2018

Room economy price so is small but clean and good decor. The ‘bath' is extremely small and very high for anyone with limited mobility. The room has a small balcony to sit and watch world go by, ours has sun all day.Air con good and very welcome after a hot day sightseeing.Room cleaned daily. All staff friendly and very helpful. Only draw back no bar or restaurant in hotel in the evening (we think the hotel is missing out on this) Well placed for Metro Policlinico 1.5 euros each way on time limited ticket We are finding it very easy to use Metro.(Colossium , Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc) We are finding it best to plan route so we don't bi pass places of interest on our way lots of places within walking distance of each other. We were advised not to buy water from street vendors (they are like bees around a honeypot) We are enjoying our time here and still have a few days to explore Rome in more depth. Happy Holiday

"Great hotel for great value"
flashfiremh2018, 08 Septembre 2018

We stayed several nights in Globus and it is a great hotel for an amazing value. The breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and on-time. They had so many options to choose from. The hotel is a quick 5 min walk from the nearest metro, and a honestly quick 15 minute walk to the main train terminal if you wanted to get some exercise. The rooms was always refreshed each day, and the hotel staff were very accommodating. If you're thinking about booking, you should! If you pride yourself on finding good deals, and somewhat out of city center, this is your best option.

"Good experience"
Sarah G, 12 Août 2018

The place is clean, room is average, the stuff is helpful and smiling. Breakfast buffet is okay dessert section was yummy. There is access to metro station (policinco metro station) nearby Also pus station is just couple of streets near the hotel. Overall it's good considering the price as well.

"Great city break"
laurastoker, 10 Août 2018

Extremely clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. Location is close to metro, only 2 stops from termini (the central station in Rome). The hotel is near to supermarkets and banks and very easy to find.

"Something is missing here"
dpizzuto, 06 Août 2018

Four nights stay for a business trip. Kind receptionists, modern hotel. Room was small, but cozy. Only one mistake: room was not cleaned the second day, they apologized but no discount was offered or voucher for next time. Breakfast full of stuffs, but medium quality. Too expensive for what can offer in my opinion.

"A bit out of town"
Adrian M, 04 Août 2018

Booked last minute for 2 adults and 3 Kids. Got a family room, really good size room. Front desk staff really friendly, very helpful in booking trips. Only negative, no bar area to relax in after a long day and a bit out of town. However we enjoyed our stay.

"Excellent value and exceptionally ckean"
Helen C, 30 Juillet 2018

Stayed for 4 nights with my children. Quick check in. Really good sized rooms. Free safe. All very clean. Balcony and you cam just put one of the chairs to sit out. Bit noisy as on a busy street but double glazed. Also road works outside but not hotel' s fault. Good breakfast and yes get a coffee made rather than the machine. All staff very friendly and helpful. Nearest metro is 7 mins walk and 2 stops from termini station but about 5 stops from coleseum. Around hotel a cheap supermarket and also some restaurants. One called Laurea was extremely cheap. Lots of takeaways and student bars around as it is the university part of Rome. Highly recommend and good value.

"Great hotel on a budget"
Roxy6985, 09 Juillet 2018

I was so surprised with cleanliness and location of the hotel. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are quite big and very clean. It is well located , easy access to almost everything. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

"Decent hotel but bit out of town"
Holidaywhisperers, 04 Juillet 2018

We stayed here for 3 nights in June when we were in Rome. It is a decent hotel with all the basic facilities. The room was nice and clean and the staff helpful. Breakfast time can be very busy at times as we had to queue up for about 15/20 minutes one morning and then they ran out of some of the items when we finally got a table. So recommend getting an early breakfast if you can. It is also a bit out of the way from the main touristic areas. There is a metro/underground stop (Policlinico) which is about 10 mins walk away. If you are looking for a quite and modestly priced place to stay, I would recommend this but if you want to stay in a more “happening” area then this is not for you.

"Poor customer service"
TMA A, 26 Juin 2018

The hotel itself seems to serve a purpose in the Sapienza University neighborhood. The location is rather dirty but the hotel is clean and staff were attentive to most needs. Breakfast buffet was very good. Very good quality automatic espresso/ cappuccino machine. The 2/5 rating is because of poor customer service when it mattered most. We had a rental van but upon arrival were told we could not use their garage due to it being full. I find this odd as most people were tourists or prospective students from other countries. I was notified that I could park in the street because it's the weekend. Unfortunately, the van front window was broken and several suitcases were stolen. When asked for help, the front desk response was that a police report should be filed, with the comment that this is a safe neighborhood. We needed to get to the airport and the staff were no help. I was the rare exception that I am fluent in Italian but most customers do not have that luxury. And to end this saga, the police refused to take a report because it was too early in the morning-7AM. Again, when asked for advice from the hotel staff, the answer was the same. We were told to look for a police station near the airport!

"Perfect for the University"
T3482013, 21 Juin 2018

The hotel was good for our purpose as we needed to be near the University. It was very comfortable, clean and airy. The room was a good size and everything was replenished daily. Nice balcony, shame nothing to sit on though. The breakfast was good with decent coffee and the buffet lunch at 10 euros was excellent value. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

"Nice Hotel more Local feel but a bit far from the Termi but easy to get to."
Jamie Y, 26 Mai 2018

The room was very nice clean and bigger then expected. it came with a small mini fridge that was great for leftovers and drinks There were 2 full beds and a sleeper couch and small table and chairs with a coffe/tea pot for use. We felt safe day and night at the hotel and walking around the area there. This hotel is located in the University district so you get lower cost excellent food options and lots of pizza it has with more of a local feel. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance. The check in process was easy the hotel staff was friendly and spoke pretty good English. The breakfast was very nice for $5 euro each but out of our 6 days there we only had paid for 2 days. It is a close walk to Metro line B and 2 stops to the Main Termini most of the attractions were on line A however it was not too much of a hassle to take 2 trains. But all the stairs will keep you in shape! We had an early flight and asked the hotel to arrange transportation for us. Cost $60 euro A good deal the driver came into the hotel to get us. The hotel does ask you to leave your room key with them when you are out of the hotel and encourages you to use the stairs instead of the elevator. Over all I was very pleased with this hotel. and gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. for Euro standard not American standard

"Nice place to stay... Little away from Termini..."
rakeshsureka, 05 Mai 2018

This place is located little away from termini... but very well connected with Metro... Metro station is just 400 meters away from the hotel... Room was very nice and extra spacious and had a balcony too...Hotel is clean and tidy... Hotel staff is very helpful...they guided us on planning our route map... Breakfast spread is good, and there are decent options for vegetarians also... The only drawback was the hotel was little far away from all the sight seeing places... Hence would suggest people to take options near to Termini station... Overall rating 4/5

"Perfect place for tourists!"
Ingo618, 01 Avril 2018

Good location close to metro, tram and bus. Nice and clean. Good breakfast served by a very friendly staff! Helpful reception. Large fresh room. Good last minute price! Quite area. No noice from the traffice on the forth floor.

"not too close to sights"
mmkvr, 22 Mars 2018

This hotel is in the university district of Rome and is a little further from the main attractions. The Metro stations are nearby and so not too much trouble to get into central Rome the only problem being if you want to stay till late and have a meal in Rome it might be a little disconcerting to travel back to the hotel. The metro is rather like the London underground...packed at times but once you have worked out your bearings its not too bad but not much help around. The Hotel room was adequate but a little small and my wife and I were constantly bumping into each other .The bath tub was very small and the shower ok.Cleanliness was good.Beds good.We were on the second floor and it was quiet considering it was located in a student area.Very busy outside in the mornings with all the students off to lectures.Breakfast was good, everything you needed was available.Coffees, teas, crossiants etc. Reception staff were helpful with offering directions regarding metro stations and maps. For tourists I would perhaps book a hotel nearer the attractions especially if you want to stay out till late. Not much to do around the area in the evening and not much in the way of restaurants to eat in, only the cheap pizza places catering for the students. The hotel does not have a restaurant that is open in the evening which is disappointing.

"Disappointment"
???? ?, 21 Mars 2018

It was the disappointing experience. I've chosen this hotel bcs 1. I stayed here 4 years ago 2. the parking is inexpensive 3. it's the international hotel chain so you expect a certain level of quality First of all I've booked a superior room BUT I've got a small room for disabled people on the ground floor. There was a special equipment but it's not unsuitable for us. The shower is just a hole in the floor! Also there was an urina smell. The recepcionist said that the hotel is full but why is it my problem?! When I tried to have true booking - they had lost our reservation for 3 nights! As result we could have another room - it was a family room (with additional kids beds but we agreed to everything) Old furniture and bathroom, strange smell in the room. The recepcionist said that we don't need to pay extra - is not true! In fact the parking price is 15 euros per night, NOT 5! And you can book it if you stay for a week. But you will know about it when you already arrived I don't recommend

"Good hotel with fantastic breakfast"
SLgirl90, 18 Mars 2018

I stayed here for 4 nights in March with my mum. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The best thing about staying here was the breakfast buffet! There was so much on offer every morning and the home baking was brilliant! This hotel is not very central. The nearest metro stop is Policlinico which is about a 10 - 15 minute walk however you can get the metro direct to the Colosseum from here, it's only 4 stops.

"Good hotel, location and bit less so"
Ludo-Owen, 14 Février 2018

Stayed there 2 nights, was perfect for my meeting but for holidays, location is not great. Staff were friendly, rooms modern and very quiet (mine was). Bathroom super modern. Breakfast was really good too. They provide bulk soap and do not change towels if hung. These are excellent environmental points.

"Very good condition"
Balescu C, 22 Janvier 2018

The hotel in placed about 5 min walk from Policlinico metro. Rooms are very nice with a small balcony. Great staff (especially Mihaela from reception), great breakfast. I recomand this hotel for a nice stay in Rome!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Very practical location"
gio1508, 21 Janvier 2018

The location of the hotel is strategic for those who need to be close to La Sapienza University and to Policlinico Gemelli. If you rent a car it is very easy to reach it through the the GRA and to move way from it fast and to avoid the traffic in the centre. It is only 5 km away from via del corso. Breakfast is good only if you ask from coffee to the nice people serving you avoid the machines at all costs. Room are not fancy but comfortable. Restaurants are all over and walking distance from the hotel.

"Good hotel for the price"
Omar Z, 30 Décembre 2017

We stayed 4 nights while in Rome. 5 of us with 3 kids. We had to get 2 rooms, but no adjoining option so we had to split adults. They helped book a car from the airport as we got in after midnight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The only issue we had is that one of the rooms had a sewage smell from the bathroom and they changed our room. Rooms are a little dated and it is not great access to metro (if you have a stroller). There was no room service due to holiday season, but there was a nice restaurant near by. Good for the price as most likely you will be out and about.

"Good Hotel with Excellent Breakfast"
MillionBucks, 25 Novembre 2017

Check in was fast. They make copies of all the guest passports. There is a ramp at the back for wheelchair users. They have an excellent breakfast buffet included in the room price. Hotel is located near the University. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Just ask at the reception. The hotel also serves lunch. Rooms are quite spacious but no refrigerators, coffee machines or microwave ovens. There is nothing much to do near by but this place is easily reachable by taxi from the Rome Rail Terminus or the Airport.

"Super sized rooms near Termini"
ParitoshTiwari, 12 Novembre 2017

Stayed at the property for 4 nights on a family vacation. Having stayed in various cities in Europe , i know how tiny most of the hotel rooms are and compared to them the Globus hotel was a revelation. The room size was extraordinarily big. The metro station is about 500 mtrs from the hotel and the tram station is about 250 mtrs. There are lot of eateries in the vicinity and a supermarket is about 5 minutes away The hotel serves a delicious breakfast comprosing of loads of cakes , croissants and fruits. Cookies , sweets and candirs for kids are an added bonus Termini station in 2 stops away and colloseum is 5 stops from the hotel. Vatican city is about 20 mins from the hotel. All in all , an excellent hotel to stay in

"Clean hotel, lovely staff, great location."
BubblesKate, 08 Octobre 2017

Stayed here with mum for 6 nights in September whilst visiting Rome. Staff - all lovely and friendly and very helpful. Location - very good - near Termini station which is a hub of transport for buses, trains and the Metro. There is a Metro stop near the hotel (Policlinico - about 5-10 mins walk) which is on the line for Termini and the Colosseum. You can change lines at Termini. There are loads of places to eat, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc, if you turn right when leaving the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price and it was lovely - you name it, they had it! Toast, croissants, fruit, cereal, meats, cheeses, etc! One negative - the bathroom needed some attention. The shower curtain did not quite fit the shower train and flooded the bathroom each time we showered. The shelf below the mirror was tilted and quite small so must things rolled off it into the sink. However, I have to say it was kept very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

"Good budget hotel"
travelocker, 02 Octobre 2017

We stayed in Rome for 3 nights and got a good deal including breakfast. Check in was smooth and the gentleman at the reception told us where to dine and how to go about in Rome. Traveled during the August holidays and hence everything around the hotel was closed. It was a bit secluded and little away from the city but connected well with public transport. Provided us with a baby crib. Breakfast was also really good. Thank you :-)

"Solid hotel, not so much location-wise"
Aviv S, 22 Septembre 2017

Let's start with the pluses 1. Next to Sapienza University. If this is your destination and reason for being in Rome, good for you. 2. Excellent reception desk. Good for checking in, checking out, and everything in between (e,g, maps, directions, etc.). 3. Nice room size. For any North American who complains about European mini room sizes, this one has good sized rooms. At least mine was (411, fourth floor). 4. Very nice breakfast buffet. Great start to the day. 5. Free tea, coffee, cold water, croissants during the day in the lobby. The lesser qualities 1. Shabby neighborhood. Most buildings look slum-like. Dirty streets. 2. Dead in the evening. Once classes are over, everything closes down. 3. Breakfast could do with adding fresh vegetables. 4. Very slow elevators. Overall, a nice surprise

"Nice hotel with great breakfast!"
rahjaf, 14 Septembre 2017

We stayed at the Globus during our recent visit to Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable and they offer a great breakfast buffet. Awesome coffee. The subway station was about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel which was great. Not many places to eat near the hotel so have your dinner before you get there. Only issue was the wifi in our room was not good so we would have to go in the hall or down to the lobby to get wifi. Staff was helpful and responsive when called.

"best western globus hotel"
RamachandraNaidu, 13 Septembre 2017

very clean hotel, breakfast was 5 star quality. lot of food and pastries. crew were very nice and cooperative. We were able to store our luggage ahead of our check in. wifi is not great, but it works. AC was not working properly, but was immediately taken care. Will definitely stay again if i visit rome again

"Pleasant Stay"
Jeevan K, 10 Septembre 2017

One room was big enough to comfortably fit 5 people inside, and the staff were very good in providing information and cleaning the room thoroughly each day. Hotel is only 5 mins away from Policlinico station and a few stops from Termini. Hotel Wi-Fi connection however was weak at best hence the lost star. Overall a good place to stay if you plan to spend most the day out in Rome.

"Old fashioned, but good enough to rest your head"
Gaffeur, 09 Septembre 2017

This is a very out-dated hotel. The rooms are in need of refurbishment. However, it is very near the main Rome university, and is probably priced and maintained for the student/visiting academic crowd. The bed was comfortable, the location quiet, and very near the Sapienza university. The train station, Tiburtina, is not far, and you can reach the airport directly. It is also quite close to the main Rome train station which will get you to most places in Italy as well as an express train to the airport. Best thing: a really good pizza take-away almost across the street: Pizza dai Cinque. Worst thing: really bad bathroom - needs complete overhaul. Staff really lovely and very helpful. If you're going to be seeing the sights in Rome all day, or attending a conference in the university, this is a good choice. Be careful in the bathroom. I found the tub very slippery.

"Another great visit "
Susan F, 14 Août 2017

We arrived at 10 am after and exhausting flight from NYC. Our room was ready and we were pleased at the cleanliness of the room. Cold bottles of water were in the fridge and the blackout curtains worked great for a quick nap. We love this hotel because of the location to the Termini and the bus stop across the street. There are quaint restaurants in the area and the front desk is very friendly. This is our second visit and we will be back again next year.

"Nice hotel, but a bit far from everything "
Danilo P, 31 Juillet 2017

Nice hotel. Rooms are unusually ample for European standards. Nice breakfast with lot of choices. Lots of tv channels. Friendly staff. Now the "not so good points": 1) the location is not the best. We came to Rome to visit all the monuments and historic sites, but you do need to take the subway to reach them. The hotel is separated from the city by a huge hospital complex and by the university. During vacation months, you can't even find bars or restaurants nearby, so coming to the hotel to freshen up before leaving for dinner means a great deal of public transportation. 2) they allow people to smoke in the rooms, and our neighbor apparently loved to wake up in the morning and light up a cigarette, so we would wake up with that awful smell. 3) the air conditioning was also smelly (mouldy), apparently in need of cleaning. It still deserves a 4* rating, don't get me wrong. It's a very nice place. But one should be aware of these "buts" to book consciously.

"Comfortable & friendly"
keepitrealMtl, 16 Juillet 2017

The front desk staff was super friendly & informative. The location was ideal...nice & close to the Termini train station. Rates were fantastic & the included breakfast was the best we had in Italy! Selection of delicious croissants, plenty of fruits & perfect coffee.

"great hotel if you travelling with kids"
Pooja S, 15 Juillet 2017

at the lobby they have kids ikea table with chairs and blocks and toys . In their restaurant they have colouring sheets and colour pencils along with kids colourful plates and spoons . across the street good pizza place place and excellent falafels and greek salad.

"Great hotel!"
Abhishek P, 12 Juillet 2017

This was our second time with Best western hotels and they didn't disappoint us. I have cut one star because internet was non functional. I told reception twice about this during my two night stay but ... Talking about good things, the breakfast menu was very elaborate and room was like a king size room with a balcony. Loved it ! Fairly near to termini and in a good location. Loved Rome. Loved Best western!

"Good hotel "
EGavin22, 10 Juillet 2017

Stayed here on a family city break. Arrived too early for check in but a quick walk back up the road we found a restaurant and had something to eat. The room was a good size and clean. The shower was huge! The staff were helpful and friendly, made calls for us and arranged taxis too. Breakfast was good and a serve yourself style restaurant. It's a good 20 minute walk from the train station and the roads are fun to cross.

"Would probably not stay here again"
winkeltreu, 18 Juin 2017

Even though I booked a single room, I got a room with two double beds and a little balcony. The room was quite spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the AC was not working (I was told it is turned on later in the year) so that you had to open the windows to the noisy street. In two consecutive nights an alarm went off and kept on ringing for more than 15 minutes each time. Finally, WIFI was not working in my room and nobody could help me on that. Other people had similar problems. The breakfast quality was rather poor. It was also difficult to get an table and you had to stand in line for hot water or coffee. All in all, the hotel was OK but nothing more. For my next stay in Rome I will probably choose a different hotel.

"Nice hotel near the universitary campus."
marian_baetoiu, 11 Juin 2017

Large rooms, cleaned every day and good breakfast. The location Is a little bit far from the touristic area, but the "Policlinico" metro station Is a just 5 minutes away and the centre can be reached în maximum 30 minutes with the metro.

"Holiday"
Angelagh T, 06 Juin 2017

Hotel was pleasant enough. Fairly near the Metro. Rooms adequate, bathroom very small. Pillows bit hard although bed comfy. Hotel very clean. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful at the desk and checking in and out quick.

"Extremely Good"
Tom S, 16 Mai 2017

An extremely good hotel, perfect for anybody visiting Rome. Located near the university, it is very easy to get to using public transport. I used the metro to get there from the Termini train station as it is just 2 stops away on Line B. The best stop to use is the Policlinico stop as the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from there. The hotel as a whole is very modern and well looked after. Rooms are a very good size and extremely comfortable and I slept extremely well! Staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. Breakfast was quite good with a large selection of hot and cold foods to choose from. Prices were also extremely good. Some things I did not like were the toilet paper as it was in the form of handkerchiefs instead of proper toilet roll and also the cups for tea and coffee in the rooms were disposable cardboard ones whereas I would have preferred proper mugs but these aspects did not affect my overall opinion of the hotel. Free wifi is available, however, it was very temperamental and sometimes did not work at all. I think this was in part due to the location of my room as the signal was stronger nearer the corridor and it actually worked fine in the lobby and in the breakfast room. The issues I had with the wifi are the only reasons I did not rate 5 stars. Seeing as the hotel also advertises itself as a business hotel, it should be aware that wifi does not work in some areas. Overall I enjoyed my stay a lot and would definitely recommend it!

"un-Italian friendliness"
RichardTol, 12 Mai 2017

This is a standard 3* hotel in a location convenient for La Sapienza University, or if you want to save money and don't mind being a bit further out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful, almost un-Italian.

"Out of town but worth the journey."
joy w, 06 Mai 2017

Excellent room, though no view. We didn't need one as we only needed a bed to sleep. Rome is a walking city! Buffet breakfast had numerous choices ,all set out on a very clean airy resteraunt .Would have been easy to spend too long eating and chatting there! It is some way out of the city but the Metro is very handy ,easy and economical to ride to all attractions.

"Brilliant Hotel for Gluten and Dairy free ."
crazycatlady777, 21 Avril 2017

Just got back from 4 night stay here, I looked on reviews before booking as I have dietary requirements as gluten and dairy free and very sensitive so have to be really careful. This was my first trip abroad for years because of my diet so wanted a good experience. Well it was excellent! I have a dietary card in Italian I shown it on the first morning and was told they would bring the food to the table, when she came back with a wire basket full of products by Schar . I had 2 packet of crackers, 2 Magdalenas, 2 buns, 2 corn cakes and anothere type of cake . The bacon was safe to eat as was the turkey along with melon, pineapple and various fruits. I never had to ask for these after showing my card that first day, as soon as we went in for breakfast these would arrive at my table. There are other items as well as these but they contained dairy. I was very happy with my stay . All the staff we met were excellent. I can't remember the lady's name that brought my food to me every morning but she was lovely very helpful. A Big Thankyou. Rooms very spacious, all towels changed and beds made while at breakfast. The only downside was it's a little out the way, it's about 20 mins walk to terimini station and then on from there to all the attractions. We walked to the Vatican from the hotel just over 3 miles away but a nice walk with lots to see on the way. Would definitely recommend.

"Near University of Rome"
love2live4ever, 11 Mars 2017

My wife and I stayed here during a conference I attended; would never have stayed here given that the location is so off the beaten path. I echo a number of the complaints noted by other reviewers, especially the poor layout of the rooms, the small bathrooms, the VERY small shower rectangle that measures approximately 2.5 x 2.5 feet. I'm a big guy and it was very difficult to maneuver and not accidentally hit or touch the handle that controls the water temperature. One slight move and one could be literally scalded. As noted previously it is very noisy at night so definitely bring your earplugs. The best things about this place are the very accommodating staff and the extensive breakfast buffet, including eggs, cappuccino, chocolate croissants, etc.

"Big rooms, clean and friendly staff"
Alex D, 09 Mars 2017

I took a group of adult student of Italian to Rome for hte weekend and found this hotel on the internet. I managed to book everything via email with them. When we arrived, there was a bit of confusion with the room allocation, but, once we got over that, we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of our rooms - they were HUGE! Even the single rooms, were spacious and had a balcony. The hotel is clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were really helpful. The hotel is located near the underground station Policlinico, but if you are going to/from Stazione Termini, there is a bus that only takes 6 minutes, so make sure you take that instead.

"Very nice hotel"
derekgreen301, 22 Février 2017

The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were friendly The breakfast buffet was ok The only thing which really lets this hotel down is the surrounding area but it is only 5minutes walk away from the metro station

"Wonderful Visit to Roma!"
Kyriacos1992, 21 Février 2017

Overall experience in the hotel was fantastic! No issues at all, room and breakfast was great with no issues. Rooms were spacious and clean. In a good central location to were you need to get to to see the historic city of Rome!

"Business "
Walter J. R, 14 Février 2017

Location near Sapienza University; service and rooms fulfil the expectations concerning a decent city hotel; although right at the corner of a busy street, sufficiently silent. All in all: can be recommended for a short stay.

"Excellent, chose the cheapest room and enjoyed an excellent stay"
Bryan S, 23 Novembre 2016

Room was well looked after, breakfast was as good as any recently in Italy, France and Spain. Reception were always cheerful and willing to help. We spent every day out and basically used it as a bed and breakfast, so cannot comment on meals etc.

"Great location near Sapienza Univ. "
Patty6-13, 21 Novembre 2016

Good buffet breakfast and just 3 blocks from a Metro station for quick access to most of Rome's major attractions. A few good restaurants nearby & lots of student eateries as well. Staff is very helpful when asked for information. There was a metro strike so I ended up having to walk back to hotel from St Peters which was about 4 miles, a very interesting afternoon!

"Fantastic neighbourhood...."
Nilosha S, 01 Novembre 2016

We enjoyed staying at this comfy hotel during our first few nights in Rome. Room (triple ) was a bit small but well equipped n clean. I was surprised by the wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet... being a 3* hotel. Loved the restaurant area...very modern n pretty. Courteous and obliging staff....full of smiles:) Great hotel to stay , especially for families with children. Many cozy restaurants around the area. Safe neighbourhood. Many thanks.....

"Very nice on the inside"
Dan P, 01 Novembre 2016

Don't be fooled by the exterior. Very nice hotel, large clean rooms. Great breakfast. Great staff. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet, secure. The buildings exterior is a bit deceiving but all is great through the front doors. Close to Termini Station(short 15-20 min walk)

"There are better but it will do"
795stevec, 30 Octobre 2016

We were stuck for a place to stay and this place was available. It isn't in the best area or most convenient for sight seeing. It is close to the university and a few restaurants and pizza shops. It is 20min walk to termini station which has a grocery store, restaurants, shopping and a post office. It is about 90min walk to Vatican City and about 45min to the colosseum. The area wasn't the best but we felt fairly comfortable walking even at night. They have extra beds available for a fee which is pretty expensive. They have a bathroom to change in and luggage storage if you are early and your room isn't ready. They have a decent breakfast included but small area. We did have to wait for seating a couple times. You also won't eat there most days as the tours for site seeing start so early. The rooms were clean and well stocked every day. There is ac and a fridge in the room and we had a balcony. There is a computer and printer there for you to use. The staff was great and spoke very good English. Overall it was a pleasant stay but I might try to find something closer to the center of the site seeing next time.

"Enjoyed our stay"
hardi01, 29 Octobre 2016

Reception staff was very friendly, enjoyed our stay and would recommend it too. Only thing I would highlight is that there was no air-con working in the room as the hotel operates central heating and cooling system which was off at this time of the year so for the guest who are not comfortable sleeping at night in 25 degree Celsius the only option is to open window which brings in plenty of fresh air but mosquitos as well!!! :) and traffic noise... but else enjoyed service from staff members :)

"Pleasant business trip"
Stephanie90X, 28 Octobre 2016

Location - The hotel is close to roma termini which is perfect for getting to and from the airport. The taxi to/from the termini is about 10€ (taxis without a meter will rip you off and charge 20€!). It was a 5 minute walk to the institute where I was visiting for training. A taxi to the trevi fountain only cost me 12€, 15€ to the pantheon . There are buses available for a cheaper alternative. There is an ATM just down the road from the hotel along with a number of fast food services. There is a lovely restaurant about a 5 minute walk away, recommended by hotel staff, food was nice and reasonably priced. Free breakfast & Wifi - The wifi was good and I could connect to it in all areas of the hotel. There was a variety of choice for breakfast - yoghurts, toast, pastries, cereal, fruit. Staff - Helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Room - The room was nice, clean and spacious with two double beds and a luxurious shower. There was a fridge which provided cold still and sparkling water. However the air con wasn't great, I'd imagine in the summer months these rooms would become quite stuffy. Also, I found the pillows were uncomfortable, too solid for me. This would be my only criticism, otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel and I would most definitely return and stay again.

"Really nice Hotel, Just a little out of the way !!"
huddster1, 26 Octobre 2016

Booked this Hotel a few weeks before going, Hotel was exactly what we wanted - 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the same room. Breakfast - Plenty of variety for all tastes if you are an early bird or like a lie-in. Staff were always friendly and willing to help. The Hotel itself was very clean just slightly let down by being a little out of the way, Saying that you are close to the B-line (Metro) which is cheap and easy to use. The surrounding area has plenty of café and food bars close by, Not the best street lights but felt totally safe even late at night. Would I stay here again ? Yes, definitely.

"Budget Holidayers come here!"
Daniel B, 24 Octobre 2016

Good value for money! Average location! 10 minute walk from Rome Termini. Bathroom smells bad constantly though! Friendly staff, area looks rough round the edges but is safe! Probably wouldn't come back just due to location!

"Great Breakfasts"
Jamest2407, 15 Octobre 2016

I wanted a 'safe' hotel for a 4 day break as I know that many smaller Rome hotels can be a bit Mickey Mouse. This was a bit out of the centre but easy to get to on the Metro and walkable at a push from Termini. The staff were very friendly and the rooms quiet and breakfast was excellent. Only criticism was that there was no hotel restaurant in the evening.

"Beautiful!!!"
John D, 13 Octobre 2016

Great location in the university quarter, very friendly staff, walking distance to metro station, nearby lots of pizzeria, cafe bars, nice breakfast, clean rooms, reception staff very friendly, even though we arrived several hours before check in they did their best and we could get the room which was spotless, recommend this hotel, made our holiday special!!

"Pleasant stay"
pandya19, 12 Octobre 2016

We really enjoyed our stay. Exellant staff clean rooms. Nice breakfast with lots of verity and smiley staff. Great location. Direct links to many attractions.they even upgraded our room free of charge. Free tea coffee in reception and rooms. I will recommend this hotel which made our stay in Rome very special

"Good hotel away from the hussle"
paulajnolan, 12 Octobre 2016

I stayed one night on a business trip. Great for the university. Room was spotless, staff very helpful and polite. Good buffet breakfast. If you arrive in Rome via the main train station (Termini) a taxi to the hotel shouldn't cost more than 10 euros. Beware of a taxi scam that will charge you 25 (without turning the meter on)! Hotel easy to get to via local bus and metro.

"Hotel is exactly as written in reviews"
Saket G, 08 Octobre 2016

I must say, that this is one hotel that has matched its reviews in terms of location, comfort and hospitality of staff. The hotel is located 5-7 min from MRT, opp. bus stop and 15 min from rome terminal station. The hotel provides good breakfast full of fruits, cereals and breads for vegetarians, complimentary tea/ coffee, water and dove soap/ shampoo in bathroom. AC is fine and so is bed. It has small balcony where you can site in morning or evening and sip coffee/ tea on pleasant day. The front desk staff is extremely helpful to help you with tourism and luggage. When the staff came to know that coffee creamer did not go well with tea, they gave me real milk which made my tea exactly as my home. Will definitely stay here again if i visit Rome. Not all rooms have standing bath area (only bath tub, difficult to climb); and entrance has 8-10 steps you have to carry luggage up.

"Fine hotel to stay in Rome."
Dawn H, 06 Octobre 2016

Recently stayed here for 3 nights, location is good, 15 min walk to Termini. Hotel clean and breakfast good. We booked a double room and emailed the hotel before departure to ask if we could possibly request a room with a view as it was a special occasion. Slightly dissapointed with our first impression. Arrived late in the evening due to flight schedule. Receptionist (Middle aged gentleman was lacking customer service skills) no chat, seemed very dis-interested, gave us keys to our room on 6th floor. It was a single room! Phoned reception to explain his error and another member of staff quickly apologised and we finally got our double room. For the money we paid it was good just a pity about our welcome on arrival!

"Nice hotel to stay in Rome"
Izhak M, 03 Octobre 2016

Pros: 1. Nice and quick working staff 2. great breakfast 3. spacious and clean room with a well separated bathroom 4. very comfy bed Cons: 1. a bit far off the main attractions of the city 2. shower cabin was really badly constucted 3. hot water flow was not sustained, actually the shower was unintentionally alternating between cold and hot 4. no private parking

"Excellent stay, beautiful hotel"
GRVenky, 01 Octobre 2016

Its a beautiful property. Located walking distance away from Policlinico Metro station. Our family stayed there for three nights. The front desk was efficient and courteous. Service was top class. The breakfast spread was very good and the service at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We had read a lot of reviews about small hotel rooms in Rome and we were delighted when we saw a brightly lit spacious room to accommodate the three of us ready for us at our arrival. The hotel is away from the hubbub around Termini, but thats so relaxing. Just walk upto the Metro and you could start your tourist trail. Termini is 10 minutes ride away in a taxi, and two stations away on the Metro. The airline had lost our luggage when we arrived at Rome, and the hotel staff were courteous enough to coordinate with them for us and receive the luggage the next day when it arrived, while we were busy exploring the city. Highly recommended.

"Friendly, clean hotel"
Gemma G, 28 Septembre 2016

When looking for a hotel in Rome there is a lot to choose from and what helped us most was reading others reviews. When picking the Best Western Globus Hotel we wanted somewhere that wasn't miles away from the central travel lines but equally we wanted somewhere that was affordable. Best Western ticked both these boxes as it was a 20 minute walk to the main train station Termini or alternatively a 8 minute walk to Policlinico Metro station (2 stops away from Termini on the blue line). When first finding the hotel we used the WiFi on the bus (airport shuttle bus, Ryanair sell tickets for this on board the flight) to set up our walking route on our phone which was really handy! We opted for breakfast with our stay because it seemed convenient, as it was. Breakfast is served daily 7am - 10am. On our last day we asked if we could go down to breakfast earlier because of our flight time and they were fine with this and saved us getting breakfast at the airport. The breakfast itself is pretty much the same everyday but offers a wide variety to suit all. With egg and sausage, toast, cereal, cakes, fruit, continental (hams and cheeses), fruit juices and a hot drinks machine. Our room (number 420) was on floor 4 with easy access in the lift. Our room was all it needed to be. It was clean and comfortable. What we liked was there was no extra charge for the use of the save during your time at the hotel, and that you could set a numbered password of your choosing. We had a fridge with free water (fizzy), our telly had a little clock on it that was useful during in the night and the room had black out curtains. We had a little balcony but didn't use it, just went out the once. Our room was a little on the cosy side with the bathroom feeling very small. The toilet was directly behind the door so if the door is opened whilst on the loo it banged your knees. The shower was also a little on the small size but this wasn't much of a problem. The bathroom was supplied with hand soap, body wash and shampoo and fresh towels daily. A couple of negatives about our room, one being the air-con was very loud so we opted not to use it, or have it on for a while and turn it off to go to sleep (it was not really needed throughout the night for the time of year we stayed). Another thing to mention was that we could hear a constant tapping/clunking like a pipe. The staff were always very friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay and all spoke good English. In the lobby there was access to a computer with a printer that we used once (no charge for printing). There is also access to cold water, cookies and a helpful map of the city and where attractions are. For our 5 night stay there was a 40 euro city tax fee. I believe you would have to pay city tax wherever you stay so just bear this in mind as they charge this when you check out. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel as it was everything we needed as a base from travelling all day. We would recommend to friends and family.

"A great hotel"
Richard A, 18 Septembre 2016

A lovely hotel, bus stop outside no 310 takes to the main termmi in 10 minutes for all forms of transport all over Rome. Only down side the flight of stairs you see in the photo you have to climb hard work if disabled. the staff was wonderful apart from one who was so rude

"Well located, cousy hotel"
avel0s0, 02 Septembre 2016

Close to the Policinico metro and just twa stations away from termini, the main train station in Rome, this hotel have a friendly service and a recently renewed rooms, making it a good option in Rome. Close to the university , there are many goos restaurants and places to eat around at very reasonable prices. be careful when booking in august : due to the summer vacations, many restaurantes and stores around are close.

"Comfortable but dull, and neglected"
Simon I, 01 Septembre 2016

The room was comfy although very basic. It had air conditioning, and was clean. The wifi was reliable and the room was not noisy. The staff were nice to me! However; - The towel rail and shelf in the bathroom were breaking away from the wall - The toilet is crammed in the corner so you have to sit at an angle - The bar was closed meaning no food at all in the evenings, nowhere to chill out - I was told there was no way for me to get anything to drink AT ALL except a vending machine downstairs, but it only took coins (of which I had none) and so I was out of luck. In the end I was directed to a discount supermarket a 10 minute walk away, and bought a bottle of horrible fizzy drink for 35c. - I asked for recommendations on where to eat, specifying "somewhere good, with a nice view, I'm happy to get a taxi" and all they could suggest was a poor looking restaurant down the road (with no view). No suggestions in the whole of Rome, really? - At breakfast they had no decent coffee (only cold black coffee in a jug because the machines were not working), and... unbelievably, I can't quite believe I wasn't dreaming - no juices to drink at all (no apple, orange, etc). Just water from a shared jug that tasted bad. Again, the staff were very apologetic but go to the store and buy some guys, come on! Send someone out! It's not hard! - The buffet selection was OK. - The location is a 20 EUR taxi trip to Piazza Navona, if you want to calibrate distance. I actually found it was convenient for catching Ubers, and there is a metro stop a shortish walk away, although I didn't use it. Truthfully I enjoyed my trip, and having somewhere comfy (the bed) and cool to sleep was great. And if I need to be in that specific part of Rome again I would consider staying here as it's a known quantity and while not particularly effective the staff were very friendly. But this hotel could be so much better if they just took a step back and looked at the customers perspective, it's not good enough even for budget places.

"Everytime I visit Rome, I stay there"
Anna I, 01 Septembre 2016

Away from typical tourist route, located 5 minutes walk from the Policlinico Metro station, close to the bus stops and trams, so coming back or going to the old Rome is not a problem, it's rather advanetage, you're away from noise. Close to the Termini Station Fantatstic breakfast!

"Comfortable stay, helpful staff"
Nermo1972, 16 Août 2016

The room was very clean and comfortable, also spacious for three. Staff was always helpful and cheerful, offered detailed directions and explanations. The location is very close to Termini Metro station which is quite central. The hotel itself is not within a walking distance to the main attractions, but it is within walking distance to a Metro station which would take you everywhere. Breakfast was very good.

"Boring"
SGfromNJ, 14 Août 2016

I'll start with the good: it was clean. Worked really well for our family of 5. The breakfast was not bad at all. The not so good: never in my life did I check in such a boring place. The room was beyond plain... nothing much except beds and a dresser. Yes there was a tv but.. who cares. I cannot understand Italian anyway. There was no shampoos or conditioner or anything. There was a bottle of squeezable soap, one to wash your hands, one to take a shower with, and one to wash your.... bottom with. The bathroom door was less than a centimeter away from the sink. Talk about cutting close. The Ok... the location was also boring. Away from any real dinning/entertainment area. It was close enough (about a good 10 minutes walking) to a Metro. In the morning is not a big deal of a walk but coming back from walking all day..... ouch.

"A good family hotel"
kchokka1, 10 Août 2016

Ideally located close to a tram line and Policlinico Metro. Only 2 stops away from Roma Termini. Pavements are not user friensly if you have a lot of luggage. Staff were friendly. There is a computer and printer for guest use and it is libero. The bed rooms were comfortable for a family. It also has a balcony. However, the floor tiles were loose and could do with some maintenance. Similarly the bathroom could do with some maintenance. The hotel staff would not take my best western card since it was not a direct booking. Slightly annoying. I booked the hotel through trip advisor and Agoda. I was surprised when I was asked to pay 96 Euros for tourist tax in Rome on Check out (4 Euros per person per night). This was not made clear at all on the booking confirmation and I have comllained to Agoda.

"Perfect for family of 4; wish it were a bit more central"
wdl, 09 Août 2016

This hotel is a bargain and met all requirements I needed for our family of 4 (2 kids, 9 and 13). Room has a good size for 4 people with 2 queen size beds and decent walking space. The AC worked flawless, a requirement for Rome in peak summer. Has a fridge with free water bottles (although they won't refill until you ask). Decent desk space. Safe in the room. Acceptable closet space (could use more drawers). Comfortable beds. It even had a balcony (did not use). The sleep was really great. The bathroom is on the small size but it's functional. I wished the shower box were slightly bigger, but it was a no issue for all of us. Also, sink space is limited, but not too hard to work around. Don't recall toiletries, only liquid soap for head/body, but also no issue. A very good full buffet breakfast included in the rate, with hot items (eggs and sausage/bacon), although in Italy I usually stuck with the regular bread, butter, cheese and charcuterie. Breakfast room opens at 7am (summer) but if you need to leave earlier, you tell the front desk the night before to save a to-go box, and set the time you want to pick it up. No drinks in the box, only some packed toast, jam, nutela, a croissant and an apple, but that you should get you going. Water and coffee on the lobby. Elevator on the premises. 24h front desk (a requirement for us, who needed to take an early flight). All staff was very polite and helpful. They helped us get a cab to the airport - actually, they offered one at check in and we promptly accepted. The rate was about right for what I've heard elsewhere. The hotel is clean, although there was something on our floor that felt sticky. Maybe they should be upgrading the flooring - I peaked at the floor of another room it looked newer. Wifi on each floor, one of the most functional we got in our Europe trip. Now some remarks on location. There is nothing much on the area - it has a hospital complex and an university, and are particularly quiet during the summer. Did not feel unsafe, but it is far from being vibrant. The closest metro station, Policlinico is about a half mile from the hotel. It will get you straight to the Colosseum metro station. For other places in Rome, you probably need to change the metro at Termini. Or go to Termini and take a bus. Or take a bus in front of the hotel that takes you to Termini (but add 20 to 30 minutes to your commute). You can go almost everywhere from Termini (e.g., for most places in the historic center, you can take a bus and get off around Piazza Venezia). Line 40 seems to be the most convenient and frequent. There is also a tram passing nearby but will take you to some less centrally located sites (it does take you to the colosseum and surroundings). The ride can be long, though. Cab rides can be of some help. A ride from Trastevere to our hotel costs 13 euros in the evening. Same cost from Termini (because of luggage surcharge). In general, we found that we took about 40 minutes to 1 hour to most places we wanted to visit (e.g., 50 minutes to the Vatican, door to door). In summary, we loved the hotel, especially given the rates, for what it has to offer, but we thought we spent quite a bit of time commuting, especially considering we always return to the hotel in the afternoon before leaving for the evening dinner. It is not too bad, but it can be a bit inconvenient at times.

"Nice hotel to stay in"
sherpao, 05 Août 2016

We stayed in hotel for three nights. Excellent quadruple family room with ample space for children in bed.... Nice and helping staff..... 5 minutes walk from metro underground station..... Clean environment . Would definitely recommend

"Delicious cake"
Clita R, 04 Août 2016

Really friendly and helpful staff. Our initial room was tiny and had a distinct unpleasant odour to it but for an additional fee we were upgraded to a great room with large corner balcony. Pity that the balcony light did not work, despite requests to have it fixed. The location was brilliant for public transport with a metro and tram stop (which took you took the metro) were both within walking distance. The highlight for me was the delicious cake available at breakfast time. I would definitely stay here again.

"Poor reception service & shabby old rooms"
FamilyKenders, 31 Juillet 2016

Received a poor service when we arrived - both of the 2 receptionists were less than helpful & the check in process was excessively long. When we asked for a recommendation for a local restaurant we were given only one option with poor directions. The breakfast area downstairs is very modern & the breakfast was good but the room we had was poor (see photos). The shower gel bottle was empty. Our room was on the street & this was noisy at night. Rooms need some serious updating & the receptionists need some customer service training!! Glad we were only there for one night.

"It is the best!!"
mollygg22, 31 Juillet 2016

It was the BEST out of every hotel I stayed in Italy! The service was great. They even had out breakfast ready when I couldnt make it for the complemntary breakfast. The room was always clean and the facility was so comfortable. It had a refrigerator and a balcony. The only thing I didnt like was that there werent a lot of restaurants nearby. But thats not the hotels faults. The breakfast was amazing. So many to choose from:) loved it and thank you for offering great stay!

"Best Western Globus - Very Good"
Venkata C, 28 Juillet 2016

A good location, close to Roma Termini. Very helpful and polite staff at the front desk. Room we got to begin with had issue of BAD FOUL SMELL from Toilet / Drainage. But the front desk was nice enough to move us to another room. The breakfast area ambiance is great. Good hotel. Staff is very helpful and could get us taxi really quick and guide us thru for the place to visit. There was a Metro strike on blue line that staff warned us ahead of time !!!

"clean and recommended Hotel"

"Less than expected"
Julie L, 26 Juillet 2016

We had a "preferred" room. While it was clean and the a/c worked - The towels smelled STRONGLY of vinegar - so much so that I could smell it in my hair all day, and the shampoo was a shampoo/conditioner/bodywash mix in a squeeze bottle attached to the wall. The location was quite inconvenient if you are planning to go anywhere other than the university. Very few restaurants in the neighborhood - mostly bars serving students. However - the breakfast bar was quite good.

"Utterly ill maintained property"
Mohammed_Zubairi, 20 Juillet 2016

The whole place was overall unclean. The room was shockingly dusty and all of us started sneezing due to the dust & tiny particles in the room. Hope the management pays some attention to have a better housekeeping staff..

"Excellent stay and gluten-free friendly!"
Mike F, 06 Juillet 2016

We were here for 3 nights. Staff is incredibly friendly. We found the hotel to be convent for us though most places in the neighborhood shut down by 9:00pm which is good as it's quieter. Room was clean and I just can't say how great the staff is. As for the restaurant... Our daughter has celiac and must eat gluten free. The restaurant was very accommodating with this, always having breads and a selection for her.

"It is ok"
hungryeater1966, 26 Juin 2016

The positives Friendly and helpful staff The room on the 5 th floor was outstanding - spotless and clean and furnished to a very high standard. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location for me on a business trip was good with easy access to ground transport when required. Breakfast was varied and of a high standard to suite all tastes The less good The wifi was extremely poor and not reliable even with multiple hotspots to choose from The hotel was chosen as it had restaurant, room service and a bar - on business this is sort of essential when working late and on calls into the night. It does have a restaurant but it's not open at night. It has a bar which is not open at night and it has room service but not for food. The website is not inaccurate - it's just not fully described. The area is busy and as in virtually all of Rome you will hear the life of the city - and this is cool. Rome is vibrant passionate and noisy. The hotel location whilst ok and reasonably connected does not have a range of eating establishments nearby and those that are are geared for snack and go trade and I did indeed discover a rather nice cakes and snack place just opposite. So for quality of room and the staff it gets a big yes. For the availability of usable hotel services when on business it leaves a big gap which the management could easily address with upgraded wifi and evening services. Would I stay on business again - most likely not - there are somethings that just need to be there to make this complete for the business traveller. Would I use as a base to sleep when in Rome as a tourist. Most likely - but there are other hotels more centrally located in the same price range which have a full evening service so it would be on the list to consider if those hotels are fully booked.

"Nice hotel and staff"
Erida N, 22 Juin 2016

Really very nice hotel. Clean and very good cleaning service. Nice breakfast and coffe and cappuciono served at coffe machine. Helpful staff always willing to explain things. Well english spoken by staff. Near to Termini station or for better convenience the metro station at Policlinic (5 minutes walk from the hotel) was a great conection to Termini or Coloseum station. Definitevely I will come back at this hotel again

"Great pre-flight hotel"
LisaT007, 19 Juin 2016

Nice facility, dinner was good, shuttle to airport was convenient. I would recommend to someone who wanted to be near airport before flight. The food at the restaurant was good. Depending on when you are there, if you eat outside, it can be very noisy as the planes fly overhead very close to the ground and are very loud. Don't know how much noise would be inside, but it was a beautiful night so we chose to sit outside. Room was comfortable, bed was great, planes were not flying after we went to sleep so that was nice.

"Cooperative and Friendly staff"
Devtej, 07 Juin 2016

This was our last hotel during our trip to Italy . We were a group of 10 people including 3 kids . We were here between 29 th May 2016 to 2 nd June 2016 . We had booked 2 triple rooms n 1 quadruple room . However 1 of the triple room was very tiny .. When we requested for a bigger room they immediately shifted us to a room as big as quadruple room . The rooms n bathrooms were very clean and equipped with Modern amenities .. The breakfast was good . The front desk staff was very friendly n cooperative . Hotel location was also safe n good . All in all we had a great stay in this hotel at the end of our tour .

"It is what it is. With some caveats."
Karen S, 06 Juin 2016

This hotel is far from the center. The rooms barely resemble their pictures, so don't get your hopes up. There is uncomfortable functional furniture in the rooms, and the hardest ('firmest') bed I've slept on since the last time I went camping. It was livable. The hotel has a restaurant that does a nice breakfast. It doesn't do dinner, or snacks (still listed on their website) nor doe sit ever open the bar. Go figure. The front desk staff is very helpful but very poorly trained. The website has label for rooms ('Working', 'Liberty', etc). I asked at the front deck which one I had and was told 'double'. I said but what type of room 'double' I heard back. OK. The maps at the front desk are scoped so the hotel isn't on them. Go figure. The wifi was severely limited, more than 10 people on brought it to a screaming halt. Manage your expectations.

"Value for money but a bit far from the centre"
Lyn D, 25 Mai 2016

This hotel overall is good value for money., The standard room we had on the 6th floor was very small to the point that I had to walk sideways to get into my side of the bed. The bathroom could have done with a better clean on a daily basis but overall the room was fine and I have to say the bed was superb and we slept extremely well. I would suggest that you upgrade to a superior room. The breakfast variety and quality was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs. The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite a walk to the nearest metro station and after a day of walking around Rome you get a bit fed up with the trudge back to the hotel from the train. Also at night we found ourselves getting taxis back and forward to the centre at a cost of approx 13-15 euros each journey. There were 4 of us in our party so this cost was acceptable but if your a couple on your own this could work out as quite an expensive necessity. I would definately book a hotel closer to the centre of Rome next time, but all in all this hotel is great value.

"Great value for money !"
Shruti_Nautiyal, 24 Mai 2016

A late review, but none the less... We had a lovely stay at this hotel.. It is in a student area, so you have small eateries which are open till late at night. The staff is very helpful, and provided us with a map and detailed instructions when we checked in. We had a decent sized room, with a huge balcony. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast spread had a nice variety. It is close to the metro station (Policlinico), which would be a 10 minutes walk. There is a tram station nearby too. The best part of the hotel was the staff, who were super helpful, polite and always smiling, no matter how many times we asked for help.

"Great hotel for a sightseeing trip"
Djlizednb, 23 Mai 2016

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and they have a good breakfast to start your day. The staff where very helpful and couldent help me enough with information regarding how to travel about and also where was good to eat. I enjoyed my stay with this hotel and would stay again.

"Nice hotel, gluten free breakfast!"
Rachel358, 21 Mai 2016

The hotel itself is nice and modern, the staff are very helpful when you need directions and can order you a taxi when needed. The breakfast staff were particularly great. I asked for the gluten free option that they provided, and got a little basket of gluten free treats every morning. This was a great start to the day and the breakfast staff were always so happy and friendly. The only thing I would say about this hotel is that its not really in a great spot to get into town. You are in the student area so there are a lot of stationary shops and bookshops.

"My stay at Best Western"
rithu, 18 Mai 2016

From my point of view, the hotel was well furnished and neat. The hotel staff were very hospitable. The only drawback was that the hotel room was small for a family of four. But, it would have been okay for European standards. The metro station was at a 10 minutes walking distance. There was a good spread of breakfast but there was not much selection for vegetarian peoples. It was a modern hotel.

"Great deal, walking distance to train station, local subways, local buses"
Lalit S, 16 Mai 2016

Stay includes free breakfast, very helpful staff, free wifi, its a college town so very safe even late at night. subway is 10mts, local buses are just down the street, appox. 1.5 km if you want to walk to the train station 'Termini'

"2nd stay"
thomas703, 16 Mai 2016

Better than average. For first timer to Rome, this is not the most convenient location. We use taxis most of the time, though not expensive. Good breakfast, and I had a balcony. Staff very helpful and made dinner reservation and called taxis for us. This time I did not go outside of Rome and we did not walked 15 minutes to rail terminal.

"Small rooms, too noisy, good breakfast"
Uri R, 13 Mai 2016

Spent 1 night there. we booked 8 rooms, some were too small you couldn't get 2 suitcases in the room. First floor is horrible, you could hear the cars from the street as they were inside the room. Breakfast was really good.

"Amazing Breakfast, Okay Location"
User, 11 Mai 2016

Pros: - Amazing breakfast that fuels you up for the entire day, a selection of coffee, meats, breads, and pastries. - 2 double/queen beds (if you have a family) - 2 complementary bottles of water in a mini fridge - Water kettle - Updated bathroom - Security in room safe - Strong AC - Safe neighborhood - Walk in closet space - Balcony - Extremely helpful front desk Cons - This hotel is not near any major landmarks or attractions (i.e. Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.), any monument that you want to go to, be prepared to walk and travel 20+ minutes. - Termini station ~20 minute walk - Policlinico station ~12 minute walk - Noise is a big factor as you can hear everything outside and the adjacent rooms - Hair dryer is outside of the bathroom and may be inconvenient - Only 2 English channels (CNBC & BBC) - Some rooms have older décor - Small ants around the room Conclusion: This is a nice hotel for a relaxed itinerary and will fit the needs of many people. The only downside is location.

"Great little Hotel"
Nicky C, 06 Mai 2016

A bit out of town but great value for money. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, breakfast great. There are a couple of great Cafes close by if you want a cappuccino. there is also a really good pizzeria just a kilometre away that we had a great meal at. Only complaint was that we couldn't get the water temperature right in the shower. Kept going hot and cold and the shower head was in an awkward position. But that was only a minor thing. Still managed to get clean.

""Convenient location""
ANNA D, 06 Mai 2016

I stayed at the Best Western Globus 5 days. The hotel is near subway station and within walking distance. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean but not spacious. Free Breakfast and WiFi is always a plus.

"Convenient Location, Less Crowded"
bvillan, 01 Mai 2016

My family had a very pleasant stay at the Globus Hotel. The hotel is just outside the center of Rome, but conveniently located all the necessary transit lines to see Rome in all its Glory. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers a variety of healthy and tasty options. The rooms are clean and well kept. It may not have dramatic views all around, but the trade off of a peaceful stress free environment is exactly what I was looking for.

"the room wwas comfortable"
619amyh, 28 Avril 2016

The room was comfortable .Wi-fi not good - could get a good signal only in the lobby and it was very slow! friendly & helpful staff - they even packed us a breakfast on the day we had to leave for a 5.30 am tour. laction walking about 10min to MRT .

"Great value"
Aero999, 28 Avril 2016

Room was relatively small but a good price with multiple day stay. The breakfast buffet was much better than any BW in the US. Dining opportunities in the immediate area, especially during the weekend, were somewhat limited. We departed before the breakfast room opened and they fixed us a couple very nice boxes to go.

"A Great Place to Stay"
alohadwayne, 26 Avril 2016

A hotel that have staff that can speak English well. Love the breakfast buffet that came free with your stay at this hotel - great food choices and was my first in drinking blood orange juice. Their had coffee, water and snacks available in the lobby. Walking distance to the metro, which is a plus for travelers like me. Just found their air conditioning unit to be a little weak. The room does not get as cold as I would like it to be, but it was still OK. We stayed in a family room that had 2 double beds and a sofa bed, which was spacious and comfortable. You can ask the front desk for assistance in obtaining a taxi or ask them to make arrangements for transportation to the airport.

"Weekend visit to Rome with the family"
Tinytrouble, 19 Avril 2016

We stayed at this hotel, although it is about a 20minuteI walk from the termini and there isn't anything around it it was still a great place to stay. The hotel stay were pleasant and helpfull. The room (family room King be and bunks) was big, with a PlayStation, soft drinks. Good shower, bed was a bit hard tho. Breakfast was really good , loads of choice. It was all nice and clean and there was a room to leave luggage in if your flight was later after check out .

"Don't be fooled by the reviews."
gillisfam5, 15 Avril 2016

Dont' be fooled by all the reivews. This is a nice, clean and friendly hotel but it is a 3 star hotel. Walls are thin and the street noise from outside made it impossible to leave the windows open at night for fresh air. The hotel is outside the center by a university. With the termi being 5 mins or so away it is not a bad location but definitley worth it to pay a little more and stay closer to the center. Don't get me wrong this is a great hotel to lay your head if you are planning to be out all day just don't expcect too much. Its definitely a 3 star hotel.

"Everything's very good!!!"
522kyriakia, 14 Avril 2016

Very nice and very friendly. The location is great, about 5 min by walking to the metro station Policlinico. The region is quite and safe.My room 219 is nice with all the amenities into the room, extremely clean (and whole the hotel smells cleanliness) with very comfortable beds.?he pillows not so good quality. The bathroom very clean, not very big but it's ok.The breakfast also great, all the basics, there's free coffee and biscuits for 24 hours to the lobby. If i go to Rome again i would choose the same hotel for sure. I am very satisfied and my friend too.

"Globu Hotel, Rome"
Mia W, 12 Avril 2016

The hotel was pleasant, with comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. It is a little outside the centre, but a short walk to the Metro and tram stops. The room was comfortable and was equipped with a fridge, television (with some English speaking channels). The bathroom was clean, but a little cramped. The wireless internet connection did not work in our room and we had to go to the Reception or bar area to get connected. Also, although the hotel had a bar and restaurant, they closed in the early afternoon, so there was no opportunity to have an evening meal at the hotel.

"We did not want to leave!"
Charisma F, 27 Mars 2016

I want to first start off by saying when I booked this hotel initially I assumed I booked it too far from the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Vatican, but I was not only 15 minutes by train from the city center! Only took one train to get there! When I got to the hotel I thought it would look ok, since I did not pay a large bill, but when I opened the door me and my son were amazed! Hard wood flooring, amazing shower with a huge shower head coming from the ceiling beautiful bed, with a balcony! We were shocked by how beautiful, and clean the room was and the shower and bathroom was so clean and updated! The other best part was the accommodation of the staff, my son was sick the night before and we needed no sheets, most hotels overseas you will not get new sheets until you check out, but here they said no problem! After a long day of walking around Rome, the room was impeccable just the way it was when we first came. Also, while looking through the book we noticed that the hotel offered kid friendly rooms, and we also found out you can rent video games, and the gaming equipment is in the rooms for the kids. Also, they had a TV set up on the ground floor with kid movies and snacks, and me and my son had some energy to release and were hungry. We asked the guy Victor who was on duty to warm it up, and he put it on a real plate and provided napkins, and even gave us drinks, and snacks for our movie! Amazing! When we were done with the initial drinks, and snacks he still made sure our snacks were refreshed, and we had cold drinks! Even my young son felt guilty because he was so nice to us! One other person I want to commend is the front desk clerk Monia, she made sure I knew where to go for train tickets, she was so nice to my son, and he talked to her and her never talks to anyone he does not know. This place was awesome, great job!

"Good place to rest your head after a day out"
hayleym89, 10 Février 2016

Myself and my partner stayed here on 1st-3rd Feb. I booked based on reviews from others on trip advisor and based on a package price with British airways. We were in a room on the ground floor which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The free wifi was great and the breakfast spread was enough to get you started for the day ahead. The only small downside to our stay was that when we arrived and decided to take a brief rest after travelling, it was very noisy due to us possibly being situated right next to the building next door, as we could hear running up and downstairs. Please don't let this put you off as not all rooms in the hotel would've had this issue and at night it was fine. Staff were very friendly here too. I would recommend best western globus as a good place to stay! Also it is close to the metro station which was a great way to get around

"Excellent, family friendly hotel, close to public transport!"
Rydelko, 03 Février 2016

We spent 5 nights at Best Western Globus in late August 2015. Very convenient location, close to public transport (Policlinica Metro station only 15 minutes walk). Travelled as a family, with 3 young kids (11, 8, and 2), had breakfast buffet included in our room package. Stayed in a family suite, with a bunk bed, and a huge balcony. Lots of space, clean room, excellent customer service, great selection for breakfast. And most of all, very family friendly hotel! Great value for your money! Highly recommended!

"Brilliant hotel."
Jamie D, 27 Janvier 2016

This hotel is great, the facilities are fantastic. We had a great power shower with free wifi. The hotel offered free breakfast too. The service from the front desk was one of the best I have received in all the best westerns I visit. Although the hotel is out of town a bit you still have great transport kings with busses & trams at this crossroads. I love Best Western!!

"Close to public transport in quiete area"
Multi-Travelgirl, 26 Janvier 2016

I stayed there with two friends in a spacious and clean room, I got this deal for an incredible Price including breakfast where you will have a great Food choice. Our room was not facing the main street so it was quiet at night/morning. The Metro is just 400 m Walking distance which brings you to the fabolous places like collosseum. It is also easy to reach the Hotel from the Airport, just take suburban Train there.

"Excellent value and convenient location for families"
908MSS, 09 Janvier 2016

Very clean, modern, spacious for a European hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was convenient -- across the street from bus, about 15-minute walk to Termini, and 7-minute walk to metro. The best part was the breakfast -- what a spread! For all the walking we did, and the early start to many of the tours, their breakfast allowed us to leave first thing, ready for anything.

"Valuable place to stay"
Byung Moon L, 09 Janvier 2016

It has nice value to stay where most attractions are located nearby. Especially Termini station where all the buses and all the train coming from and to airport and all the cities. So it is convenient place to travel around cities. Hotel staffs are very helpful to get advices and room is very clean and comfortable.

"Nice, well situated hotel "
Elizebeth J, 04 Janvier 2016

We visited this hotel in the last week of December and it was nice, neat and well situated. Close to Termini station. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was helpful and things like the complimentary croissants add to the charm. Breakfast spread was ample.

"Great Value for Money!"
Georgios D, 02 Janvier 2016

Excellent location, there's a bus station just outside the entrance of the hotel towards Termini and tram and Metro stations 1 and 7 min away. Excellent services provided by the employees, large room for families cleaned up everyday , breakfast menu is splendid! Highly recommended specially for families! Thank you so much for the beautiful memories!!!

"Not centrally located but a very pleasant stay"
junglevasi, 31 Décembre 2015

The Globus hotel is located near the university and is about 2.5 miles from central Rome but with the metro within walking distance getting into the centre was very easy. The staff members were very friendly and helpful with local area knowledge. We had a family room which was very spacious and had bunk beds for the kids. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable for a good nights sleep. The hotel offers a free PlayStation if needed to keep the kids entertained. A kettle is provided in the room to prepare hot drinks. The breakfast was good with a good choice of beverages, cereals, breads and some hot options. As stated the hotel is located near a university and as such the area nearby remains busy into the night but there was no trouble at all during our 4 night stay. There are several places nearby to eat and drink if you are fed up of the restaurants in the centre of Rome.

"Nilesh patel"
Nilesh P, 18 Décembre 2015

Me and my wife visited here on dec . 13 & 14 , 2015 we stay two night there it was excellent experience. Hotel staff are very help full , rooms are neat and clean, very convenient from metro and bus stop . Breakfast was very delicious. I will recommend this hotel very strongly . I am also hotel owner in las vegas .

"Hotel close to the University area, but perfectly suitable by every tourist"
Brun066, 13 Décembre 2015

This hotel is a short walk from the university district (Rome I University) and in particular a few steps from the Faculty of Economics. I imagine then that many of the customers will choose it for this reason. However, it's also perfectly suitable for "regular" tourists: it is a good 3 stars hotel, in walking distance from the station "Policlinico" of metro line "B", and even closer to the tramway lines 3 and 19, that lead to some major sights of the city, including the Colosseum and St. Peter. The rooms are basic, but equipped with every comfort of a 3 stars hotel; the bathroom is impeccable, breakfast is in the upper range of the class. The quality / price ratio is good: I paid 64 euro for a night (plus 4 of tourist tax). Overall this hotel is definitely to be recommended.

"Good location. Fair facilities, good breakfast and lunch buffet"
Bita S, 01 Décembre 2015

I will keep booking this hotel if I will be back to Rome once more, the location is just 20 minutes far from central station and the facilities are fairly fine and very clean. We used the lunch buffet for only 10 euros and we could eat a dessert as well. I actually enjoyed the dessert more that the main course! ??

"Ideal location near Sapienza University"
SayanRoy, 30 Novembre 2015

Stayed for 1 night for a official visit to Sapienza University, which is just across the road. The room to the single traveler was huge and was ideally for 4 ( 2 adults and 2 childrens) as it has a bunk bed besides the double bed. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was decent. Would recommend it if you have work at the university.

"Not bad but in the middle of nowhere"
acorna, 21 Novembre 2015

The hotel is oldish with obvious wear signs, but clean and well maintained. It is close to campus of the University, so if you have business there, it is quite convenient. Otherwise, it is in residential area with nothing much around. Even eateries are sparse and there is some distance to the metro station. Good points of the hotel: service is exceptionally pleasant, rooms are quite large, mine also had a balcony which would have been quite pleasant in the warmer time of year. Breakfast is good, no vegetables, but there is selection of fresh fruits, coffees excellent. Bad points: bed, though very large, but hard – both mattress and pillows; elevator is a little bit on the shaky side – sometimes it needed to repeatedly push the button to get it going; the room is cleaned with a very strong-smelling detergent – it is so pungent that I had to keep windows open for at least quarter of hour to be able to be there (beware these with allergies!). And the most annoying thing was shower – almost impossible to regulate water temperature and the worst thing was that no matter how you take care, water spilled through gaps of shower curtain and flooded bathroom and, as there is no outlet, bath mat always becomes soggy.

"An ok business hotel with a reasonable price"
flygirlie, 20 Novembre 2015

Stayed for a week. A decent price-quality ratio, ok rooms, functional free wi-fi, business center with printer/copy-machine in the lobby. Great breakfast. The bathrooms and especially showers were tiny- not a problem for me because I am small myself, but for a bigger person this might be an issue. About 500m to nearest subway station and not far away from the historical center of Rome. Nothing very extremely special, but an ok hotel to stay in.

"Very good"
sebastianb948, 19 Novembre 2015

Hotel is located in good place, close to metro station. Room was cleaned, service very good, meals good. I can recommend this hotel for family trips. One minus is that all restaurants around hotel were closed in the night.

"pleasant stay"
Suzana G, 16 Novembre 2015

Comfortable, clean, big room. Location good as it is close to metro station, so good connection with the city center. Breakfast ok. Good value for money. It is not perfect, but very good for three stars hotel.

"Ideally located by the Sapienza University, this hotel made for quick access to the conference we were attending."
Avi G, 21 Octobre 2015

Clean, friendly hotel, close to Sapienza University. We stayed there for the Maker Faire in Rome, 16th-18th of October. We were attending for my partner's work. The hotel was a great location. There are issues with noise late at night, so think about packing earplugs. The breakfast which came included was ample and helped fuel us as we made the grounds at the Maker Faire.

"Close to Tiburtina bus station"
rosanac710, 14 Octobre 2015

excelent for my needs ... trip to Basilica Santa Rita da Cascia by bus from Tiburtina terminal ... hotel was within walking distance. Hotel close to restaurants and Rome Termini. Easy access to get taxis.

"Nice hotel"
Kaushik B, 11 Octobre 2015

Nice balconies in most of the rooms. Very nice restaurants around the place also. Bathrooms were very very small though! Food was good as well. Little far from the heart of the city, but that's fine. Over all, very good hotel.

"Noisy next to college and payment issues "
Lin S, 10 Octobre 2015

Nice hotel in Rome, very basic but clean and friendly staff. Rooms very small, showers tiny and no real room for luggage or personal belongings, saying that the bed was comfortable and the hotel very clean so that was positive, breakfast was typical European, no real choices if you cannot eat bread based products as mostlybcakesapastries. Had problems payment being taken in advance when not authorised to, then over payment the a week after the trip a double payment. Now the task of trying to recover the finds. The booking through booking.com Was clearly, pay at arrival with a credit card to secure only, no funds to be taken. I am now overcharged.

"Everything's already been said about this hotel ;)"
Vel0mane, 08 Octobre 2015

Everything has been said that needs to be said about this hotel on TripAdvisor. It's mostly true and it doesn't need repeat again. Large clean room. One thing we didn't like at all : sooooooo tiny bathroom that there was only a bathroom sink (without even a counter), a bidet (what's a bidet doing in a hotel bathroom nowadays anyway? when the bathroom itself is so minuscule), and a minute shower stall so tiny that a very slim person couldn't turn around without banging on the wall. A handheld shower only! Bathroom greatly needs a renovation and enlargement. Good elaborate breakfast compared to North American standard (speaking of free breakfast of course). Same thing every day though but so what. At home, you do have same thing everyday right? ;) Personnel at the reception are most of them very helpful and doing their best to help except one young lady who seemed as if she couldn't care less about the client's needs. We must also mention one of them, Simona, who is exceptional in customer service. She does her utmost to help whenever we needed help and she does it with patience and a smile. She's furthermore multilingual and this helps a lot when you are in a foreign country and don't speak or understand the language. Thank you so very much Simona to help make our stay easier ;) Now the tips : we were told that the nearer you are to the lobby level, the best reception for your wifi. And we can confirm this since we were on the 2nd floor and we didn't encounter any problem at all contrary to what we read here. Wifi worked beautifully. We can't confirm though that the higher floors have bad reception since we weren't there…. Now for the Gelatarias ;) : you have 2 very good ones on the opposite side of same street as the hotel (Fattori, nearer the hotel, where we went several times, and another one a little further down the street, Geleteria II Pellicano which we discovered only at the last moment). We did try several gelaterias in the historic centres and those didn't impress us at all. Two very good restaurants not far from the hotel : Brachi & Abbrachi (getting out of the hotel, you turn on your right and go down the street to the end of Viale Ippocrate, you turn at your right again, and it's just there around the corner (see our comments on this restaurant). Another good restaurant is La Stiva which you can find, going same direction as Brachi but continue straight ahead instead of turning on your right (name of street changes I think and we don't remember the name) and the left side of the street you'll see the restaurant (see our comments on this restaurant) All in all, for a budget hotel, it's not too bad (except for the bathroom), and we'll recommend since transportation to anywhere is within easy reach. Most tour operators also come to pick you up at the hotel and bring you back there at night.

"excellent hotel for a quick stay in Rome"
Brian O, 03 Octobre 2015

not too expensive, comfortable, good room size and good breakfast. we were recommended by Raol to eat at Babbi's quite near the railway station and it was so good ( we ate outside undercover) but you can sit inside and it does some lovely dishes. good seafood and a delicious lemon sorbet with prosecco and a straw. it was so good we went two nights running and each four of us had different choices each time. so reception was very helpful. it is not too noisy there!

"Pleasant and convenient"
paulfrederikb, 25 Septembre 2015

The room was spacious and the hotel has all necessary facilities. The reception service and cleaning were perfect. Satisfactory breakfast service. Average price level. The steps at the entrance could be a problem if arriving with heavy luggage.

"Nice hotel, perfect to go to to Sapienza"
frank P, 15 Septembre 2015

Hotel is nice, people are friendly, rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is near Sapienza, for those who work there. Otherwise, 10 minute walk from San Lorenzo area which is full of restaurants and cafes.

"Perfect for Families"
AshleighRayner, 14 Septembre 2015

We really enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved the room, and the little adventure that was included. The breakfast had variety and made feeding kids in a foreign country easier. The room was cleaned daily, right down to pajamas folded on the pillow and our stuffed toys artfully displayed on the kids beds. It is close to a Metro station, Pizzerias, cafes and gelato stores. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Italy!
