"Recommended hotel prior to flight from CDG"

Z6570SSclairer, Alameda, California 18/07/2021

This hotel is well located, near CDG airport. Easy access by rental car, otherwise there is a shuttle. It's close to restaurants and there is a small supermarket nearby. The rooms are clean, spacious. Staff is friendly. There is parking onsite, although one has to pay extra for it. Breakfast is also available, but again need to pay extra.

"Decent hotel, not actually at CDG but close enough"

LeonvM77, Nijmegen, The Netherlands 24/04/2020

Fine hotel, bit price but that is what you get close to the airport. And beware it is not at the airport but a 20 minute suttle bus ride away. Which is ok, the shuttle works well and goes often. The place is cean the food is proper.

"Very Good Experience"

Sandy P, Dayton, Ohio 09/03/2020

We made a 1-night stop in Paris and wanted to share a great “find”! This hotel was great for our needs. Very nicely decorated, quiet, and clean. And if you get the pleasure of having Bachir check you in, consider yourself a winner! He was so welcoming & professional. Our flight got in super early. Bachir gave us great suggestions on seeing the city and offered to secure our luggage at the hotel. The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was a great asset! The shuttle runs every 30 minutes; we were able to utilize the shuttle to get back to the airport and catch their train into Paris. Using the public transit system was fairly easy! We didn't eat in the restaurant so we cannot comment on that. But the room was nice and clean. The bathroom could use some updating but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable!!! I must admit that the night check in person, Victoria, was the complete opposite from Bachir. Very disappointing! She was rude, cold, not welcoming or friendly at all. It seems as if she “barked” instructions at us. It's good she has the night shift. We were very grateful to have the pleasant interaction with Bachir that morning. First Impressions are memorable! Good job in managing your staff.... putting the best person on during the day!

"Very average"

PointyHairedBoss78, Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom 23/02/2020

Stayed here one night due to a missed connection. A typical soulless airport hotel which was very quiet the night I was here. Efficient enough reception and although there were aspects of the room that were a bit tired, it was comfortable for a night's sleep although noise proofing was very poor for an airport hotel. Don't expect to sleep during daylight hours or until flights stop at midnight unless you have good earplugs. One major irritation was that despite claiming to start breakfast at 5:30 the staff were not ready and only really started bringing out simple items like bread at 5:45, which was when the bus back to the airport left! This is basic stuff. I note the hotel has promised to take on board feedback from previous reviews but I see little evidence that this has been done.

Gudde_Moien, Luxembourg 15/02/2020

I wonder if Great Western CDG is teetering on the edge of bankrupcy? I can see no other explanation for the shocking quality of the breakfast that we were served. No cereals, only Cornflakes, inferior breads ( in France, for goodness sake!), very poor hot offering, supplies running out constantly. We were placed here by Air France after our flight was delayed and had vouchers for lunch and dinner. We didn't use them, deterred by the quality of the breakfast. No way would I return here.

Navigator31971846275, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Gudde, We thank you for your feedback: it is valuable for our quality approach. Regarding the breakfast, we are sorry for your disappointment: the points mentioned were shared with our Chef and the Catering Manager to improve our services. However, we sincerely regret your decision to do not use your vouchers for lunch and dinner. The quality of our buffet would certainly have met your expectation and let you enjoy some tasty dishes with fresh and varied products. Hoping to have the opportunity to regain your confidence one day, Sincerely, Christophe Colin Front Office Manager

"Very Nice One-Night Stay En-Route to Moscow"

Stephen Robert B, Limoges, France 12/02/2020

I always stay at Best Western hotels if possible, because they are privately owned. This was the first time I had stayed there. The hotel was well-served by the free shuttle from the terminal. The Reception were careful and attentive. I did all my dealings in French, but I know they speak good English. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious. I dined in the restaurant and there was an excellent buffet and the wine was very good and not too expensive for Paris. I shall certainly be returning to this hotel when I return to Moscow in September.

Dear Stephen, We thank you for taking the time to comment your stay. We are delighted that you have appreciated the quality of our services and the welcome given by our teams. Looking to welcome you in September ! Best Regards, Christophe Colin Front Office Manager

"Nice hotel, lousy food and internet access"

2_Travelers_in_Life, Bellingham, Washington 16/01/2020

This hotel is fine for, and designed for, travelers passing through. Rooms clean and comfortable, and front-desk people Bashir and Eric awesome. Food not good at any meal (walk a couple of blocks to the Marriott for nice restaurant). Business Center not working. Internet access in room barely there. Had to work in lobby, and even there, the access was spotty.

"Good hotel for a stop-over"

AndrewS9142, Southampton, United Kingdom 12/01/2020

Stayed here for one night on route from Switzerland back to England. Hotel was in keeping with the corporate BW standards offering large rooms, comfortable beds plus the usual expected facilities - room safe, tea and coffee making, and fridge. Wifi was good and TV offered a number of English news chanels. Good selection of hot and cold dishes for breakfast.

User 11/11/2019

The sink in our first room does not drain well, there's a hole on the door and there is hair in the bathtub. We were then changed to another room with flickering bathroom light, and got sent to the third room where we could finally rest in for the night. The communication in the process left much to be desired, and the hotel is really old. It took us about 40-50 mins to change from room to room, no helps with our luggage, no upgrades to the room.

User 11/11/2019

Excellent room and service. We saw the breakfast area open when we left, but the information in the room did not indicate that the dining area would be open in the morning, stating an opening time of 12 pm.

"Our first night on Honeymoon trip September 2018"

Minion_adventurer, Southern Finland, Finland 19/10/2019

We spend one night in this hotel during our Honeymoon last year. Welcome was more or less ok and room was good. Dinner at the hotel was decent but problems came the next morning. As a member of Best Western I had use my points for the night and breakfast. At the morning we were told that we should pay 24€/each (or maybe even more) for breakfast which we had included in our package. When we want to solve this that is when the problems started. Supervisors didn't want to see us and no one wanted to see our booking emails or deal with the thing. So first morning on Honeymoon started by leaving the hotel angry and hungry as of course I didn't pay second time for something that I had paid. Afterwards this deal was settled via email but still I think that service is not on the level of 4-star hotel.

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Minion_adventurer, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us on your honeymoon last year. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies as this is certainly not what we expect our guests to experience when they stay with us. The service provided was not up to the standards of our hotel and I am disappointed to read that we failed at providing you with our usual warm touch. When your travels next bring you to Paris, I will be more than happy to make all of the arrangements for you so they receive my personal attention, so please do not hesitate to contact me at any time to assist you. We trust this experience has not permanently tarnished your impression of Best Western Paris CDG airport and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future and again I offer my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience we caused to you. With kind regards,

"A Bit Tired But Adequate"

Tattvadarzin, Telford, United Kingdom 15/10/2019

For this being a Best Western, I was surprised. It is one of those hotels used for tour groups. There seemed to be two or three on the night we stayed. We went out to eat, 5 minutes away at a lovely Chinese. The room was the usual. Breakfast was not great. It was very busy too.

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Tattvadarzin, Thank you for commenting your recent stay with us. As you rightly mentioned, there are groups staying often in our hotel. As we are very close from the Airport, our location is convenient for individual as well as group bookings. I hope you enjoyed your meal at the Chinese restaurant which is a great little restaurant we have in Rossy. When you next stay with us, come and have a look in our restaurant where our chef does his utmost to offer a great buffet. I am unpleasantly surprised to read that the breakfast quality was not up to what we usually provide to our guests. Be sure that your comment was shared with the F&B manager who is continualy looking into improving the breakfast buffet. We hope that you will stay with us again so that we can provide you with the service and food quality we are proud of delivering to our guests. Kind regards,

"Worth the stop"

513kendrak, Troy, Canada 14/10/2019

We wanted a room close to the hotel and this was perfect. The food was not wonderful but the accommodations were what we needed. It was clean and well supplied. I liked the free shuttle to and from the airport, easy to maneuver.

"Book elsewhere "

Samantha H, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 12/10/2019

Extremely disappointing stay. The rooms were very hot and no fans were available. You can hear your neighbors. The breakfast was mediocre at best. There was no water and no water glasses. The food was cold. The bread was hard. The eggs were runny and undercooked. We came at 830 am to eat and almost everything was already gone. The staff was under attentive and put out. It was dirty and you had to ask for everything. I've stayed at many Best Westerns throughout France and the world and this was the worst by far.

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Samantha H, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us on your recent trip to Paris. I am sincerely sorry to read that our service and facilities were not up to your expectations. The breakfast buffet should be available for guests to enjoy from 5:30 till 10:30 every day. I am unpleasantly surprised to read that the quality and the service were not up to what we usually provide to our guests. Be sure that your comment was shared with the F&B manager in order to find suitable solutions and ensure this does not happen again. Regarding the AC in your room, as we switched to the "winter mode", guests have to switch their AC off completely in order to stop the heating. We will check the room you stayed in to ensure that it works properly. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies as this is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have when they stay with us. When your travels next bring you to stay in Paris, I will be more than happy to make all of the arrangements for you so they receive my personal attention, so please do not hesitate to contact me at any time to assist you. "Basic hotel, disappointing breakfast"

Andrew G, Toronto, Canada 06/10/2019

Room basic but dated...ok for “night before flight”. Bought room with breakfast option. Breakfast opens at 05:30...told no hot breakfast or even croissants/choc au pain until later. Left at 06:05 and still no hot idea when hot options available.

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Andrew G, Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at the Best Western Paris Cdg. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Some of our rooms need to be renovated and we are expecting some refurbishment anytime now. Regarding the opening time of the breakfast room, it should be open from 5:30 till 10:30 every day of the week. We had a maintenance issue on Monday morning and that is the reason why there was no cooked food at the buffet before 6am. I am sorry that you could not enjoy our full breakfast as we have a chef who does his utmost to offer a vast range of products. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. When your travels next bring you to stay in Paris, I will be more than happy to make all of the arrangements for you so they receive my personal attention, so please do not hesitate to contact me at any time to assist you. Kind regards, Laura Salvagiotti Chef de réception

"Made a Bad Night Better"

Catherine K, Albion, California 03/10/2019

The kind staff at the Best Western Paris CDG Airport hotel deserve a round of applause from me. They took extra time and effort to get us into a room, when I had booked the wrong Best Western. The staff gets two-thumbs up from me. The hotel is at the end of the bus line from CDG, which may seem terrible when you're exhausted and just want to get a few hours of sleep; however, that location means that you're the last stop before CDG when you're on your way to the airport. The beds were fine, the shower was excellent, and best of all, it was quiet. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, only this time I'd make sure to book the correct Best Western.

"Worst front desk"

830analiam, Castries, St. Lucia 18/08/2019

Pros: Close to CDG Airport, but the shuttle bus doesn't follow the schedule. The beds are very comfy. They gave us a connecting room and honestly it was a nightmare, there was no insulation at all, so we could hear everything from the other room. Not good at all when the main reason we booked this hotel was to sleep overnight between flights. The front desk is another nightmare. During our check-in, there was also a group check-in, and the lady in charge was shouting, totally unprofessionally. The next morning for our check-out I had to wait, call out for someone, make noise against the counter, walk around for almost ten minutes to get someone to do our check-out. They charged me the city taxes, so I couldn't leave without a signed paper. They also tried to pressure me into buying breakfast, which is €20 per person. Not coming again for sure!

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear 830analiam, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay at the Best Western Paris CDG. First of all, allow me to apologise for the incident you witnessed at the front desk. This is not the level of service that we want to give to our customers and it is a shame that you could not experience the usual welcoming and warm service we provide. Regarding the shuttle, we are unfortunately not able to act on delays as a private company is managing it. We do our upmost to try and find alternatives when a delay arises. Please contact me directly for your next trip to Paris, and I will be delighted to ensure that your stay runs smoothly. With kind regards, Laura Salvagiotti, Front office manager

"Clean and Tidy"

OutandAbout3587, York, United Kingdom 17/08/2019

The beds are comfy and served its purpose after a long trip, also clean and tidy. Breakfast was basic with powdered eggs, the staff although pleasant, could not keep up with the service - plates, water and food running low. I'd probably save a few euros and eat out. Not a bad experience as it was an overnight stop off to rest, one night was probably enough.

"Good for a short stay"

mboyce365111, Blenheim, New Zealand 30/07/2019

Best Western suited us for a short stay near CDG airport with a free shuttle bus service. The hotel looks a little tired on the outside but the room was fine with all we needed. Reception staff very good and spoke good English. The restaurant was lacking in eye to detail and felt over priced for the small selection, waited too long for service on both occasions when very few diners, Breakfast was ok but more staff needed for such large numbers to top up depleted food/juice etc.

bestwesterncdg, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review

"No Sound proofing Insulation Between the Rooms"

Richard W, Parrish, Florida 14/07/2019

Thought this would be a convenient place to stay overnight since it was "close" to the airport. It took 1 hour 15 minutes on the bus to arrive a short distance. Hotel looked very nice inside and outside but then the noise started with people arriving most of the evening. Doors slam shut constantly since no one wants to take the time to close them quietly - AND - I do mean they slam shut - BAM !!! Then the noise from the man snoring next door. You can almost everything they are saying. Then the real fun began on the 3rd floor at 07:00 when the cleaning crew started moving things in the hallway and slamming the doors. When I opened my door to check what was going on, the gentleman asked how I was - I asked "Why was everyone so noisy?" He just nodded. The shower was very nice until the tub started filling up because apparently the drain was clogged. Now you're standing in someone else's junk that clogged the drain and is coming back up. I told the the manager at the desk who replied with a casual "I'm sorry" Meals are costly in the hotel, but that's to be expected. About 30 euros per buffet style. Menu available. Bottom line is that I would never stay there again nor recommend it.

"Breakfast experience"

User 11/07/2019

Excellent ! Feti you're the best ! You are always happy and very aware of our confort. Breakfast is good and I like so much your "croissant" and "pain au chocolat". The fruits are fresh. For sure i'll go back

"Watch out for the cost..."

VincenzoNinniD, Atlanta, Georgia 09/07/2019

We had to stay one night at airport because we had an early flight so after searching online we found this Best Western. The cost WITH breakfast was 120 USD so we call the hotel and the guy at concierge (Erik, I think) told that the cost was 135 euros... I didn't complain because we were taking off so I booked. Once we arrived in Paris I called the hotel and they told me that the shuttle to the hotel was not working after midnight and told us to catch a cab... but guess what. As soon we arrived at the hotel after a couple of minutes arrived the shuttle!!! Ok, it could happen. Then we did the check-in and the cost went up to 140 euros and few cents. Still ok, after all. In the morning we went for the breakfast and from 120 USD with breakfast included we arrived to over 140 euros JUST for the room and the breakfast was 20 euros EACH!!! I bet if we stayed few extra hours they would have charge even more... Stay away from this hotel. The room had a filthy carpet in the room and the A/C didn't cool at all the room even if the thermostat was indicating 19C... We could hear anything from outside... Really a disappointed stay!!!

"Do not reccomend"

lfulto261513, Calgary, Canada 08/07/2019

Terrible service from front desk, restaurant and even the elevator. Bare minimum cleanliness. Aggressively woken up by housekeeping repeatedly trying to barge into room between 8:15a.m. and 9a.m (check out is noon). Surprise fee at check out that was then double charged.

"Hot and no way to cool off"

Navigate10981896915, Indianapolis, Indiana 07/07/2019

Very nice staff but the building seems to have been forgotten. The whole building was hot, our room was hot. It was humid and very muggy for a building that is expected to be climate controlled. Drinks in the lounge were over priced considering we were paying the same rate in the airport terminal. Very opportunistic of the property to take advantage of patrons with so few options in walking distance.

"Clean, Quiet, Convenient"

User 06/07/2019

Stayed there one night with the family in order to catch the morning flight to the US. Place is nice, clean and has a decent restaurant and lounge. This allowed us to watch the Women's World Cup Match between the US and France as we did not have time (or tickets) to be there in person. The staff was wonderful and funny. They were really nice to us despite the outcome of the game! ;-)

"SS Review"

Sankaran S, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates 02/07/2019

Not even 1 water bottle available at the time of check in. No service personnel available to arrange for drinking water. Could see other guests shouting for water. All this in a hot dry summer condition. Could have exhibited some service mindset!!

"Would not recommend.."

764suryap, Naples, Italy 30/06/2019

This hotel is loaded with unfriendly staff and built with cardboards. Literally no sound proof as you can constantly hear your next room door banging, shower sounds etc. Rooms are cramped and inconvenient. We booked to and from on this hotel as we fly in and out of Paris for our vacation. Also give yourself good 45 minutes to go to the airport as Roissey Bus shuttle takes for ever.

User 29/06/2019

Dosen't deserve a four star hotel. Bathroom quite dirty. Small rooms . No robe or pantoufle in the room and when we asked for some, the answer was that they are reserved for suites and not standard rooms.but no nose of aircraft.Shuttle to airport is very helpfull.

"Overpriced disappointment"

Kmac1234567, Central Saanich, Canada 18/06/2019

We booked this hotel based on Best Westerns reputation and were appalled at how run down and shoddy this place was.The window in the room would not close so we had to listen to planes flying overhead all night, the shower had mold growing in the corners and a large chunk of tile was missing from the tub.We sat next to the window in the restaurant and noticed the blinds were filthy. The service was rude (ruder than the usual French service) and the buffet was crap and grossly overpriced. How this dump got 4 stars is a mystery!!

"Very comfortable hotel for a short stay"

Janis A, United Kingdom 01/06/2019

This hotel is one of many in an area by CDG Airport and as such is very busy with people coming and going. Despite that the rooms are fantastic, the big fluffy comfortable beds just what the travel weary person needs. Its not cheap but is attractive, has a restaurant serving meals, no separate bar and so if you just want a drink you might have a wait. Apparently there are restaurants that you can walk to from this hotel but I did not find out until the next day. There would be no reason to stay here other than if in transit and as such this is one of the better ones.

"No frills stay"

SoumenPro, Bengaluru, India 30/05/2019

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our group tour to Paris. The hotel is very busy with bus loads of travelers and airline crew checking in and out all the time. It is at a convenient location not far from the airport. Getting in and out of the city is easier here rather than staying in the middle of the city. There are shuttles that take you to shopping and other destinations. Room was decent with basic amenities. Breakfast was OK. They served exactly same breakfast on all 3 days which was surprising. Also they did not seem prepared to handle when there was a huge rush of guests. Staff members are good, I enjoyed speaking to them.

"Nice hotel"

User 16/05/2019

We stayed in a group tour, the staffs are kind and friendly.Rooms are spacious and big beds to sleep. They have provided kettle and breakfast spread was nice but all days are repeated menu it would have been nice if they kept some potato savouries.otherwise the rooms and stay are good.I would like to stay here again.

"Love this hotel"

This is my hotel to go to each time I have to overnight in Paris close to the airport. The staff is great. The rooms are spacious and I am never disappointed. The only time I change hotel is when they are fully booked! It always feels home to me!

"Met Our Needs and More"

johnny99, Barrie, Ont 22/04/2019

We selected this hotel due to its close proximity to the CDG Airport. We stayed for one night on arrival in France and one night the day before our departure. Having never been to the CDG Airport in Paris we had to search a bit to find the location where the shuttle to the hotel would pick us up. All of the staff we dealt with at the hotel spoke fluent English and were friendly and helpful. They called taxis for us (there were none seen waiting at the hotel) and provided us with a map, explaining where there were some great dining choices within easy walking distance. On both nights we had a "superior room" and it showed no signs of wear that I have seen in previous comments. There were lots of electrical outlets as well as a USB outlet. Be sure to bring an electrical adapter for the plug configuration and remember that the current is 220 V. The shower had lots of hot water and adequate pressure. The in room safe was convenient to access and held our laptop along with other items. We opted for the mini breakfast buffet one morning and in my opinion it was over priced for what was offered. We did not eat dinner at the hotel.

"Good airport hotel"

ScottishRob123, Aberdeen 16/04/2019

I stayed at the last minute when Air France cancelled my flight from CDG. I was not expecting much based on the previous reviews but it was actually great. The free hotel shuttle takes a few minutes, but on the flip side is very quick to get you back to the airport. I arrived late in the evening, about 9pm. The lobby is nice, and check in experience was great. My room was a reasonable size, clean, and recently decorated I think. Only downside was a reasonable amount of noise from adjacent rooms. It turned out some of this was a cleaner cleaning one across the hall at 6am when I left. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Tasty food, good service, good beer. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment on that.

We were on of the gazillion one night guests at the Best Western Charles de Gaulle airport hotel for the night before our departure flight....The restaurant served a wonderful meal to us which was every bit as good as the one you would get at a typical Paris brasserie and no more expensive. The room was good sized and very quiet, One would never know you were so close to the airport.

"Would never stay here again"

User 26/01/2019

The rooms are very old looking and ugly, there are chips in the wood (? fake/formica?) everywhere, and they do not provide real toiletries only hand soap and body/hair soap. It was extremely lacking in other amenities as well. I couldn't find a bathrobe, slippers, laundry bag, and other things that appear to be standard. The front desk was rude and not professional to me and didn't seem to understand how a hotel should be run. Extremely disappointing and I wish I hadn't bothered to stay here. This is of course my honest opinion of the hotel.

"Without Wolds"

152michelev, Lavello, Italy 23/01/2019

Nothing to say for camera but it's very serious to book a taxi the day before for 5am and then in the morning at 5:10 they say: we are sorry but we don't found any taxi maybe try out if you can stop one... I can't find the correct words to describe this situation because the boarding started was at 5:40!! I will never set foot in this hotel again!! BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU BOOK A TAXI (They confirm that is done but isn't true)

"Good Overnight stop "

kirstyb370, Leros, Greece 01/01/2019

Spent an evening here and enjoyed it. Comfortable bed , hot water , bath , good basics and friendly staff. The free shuttle worked rather strangely though so be sure to be ready early ! The hotel is quite old and it shows in small details like the cracks in the basin etc but when you're paying standard prices you get standard quality I suppose !

"Disastrous shuttle"

Jane M, Edmonton, Canada 23/12/2018

The hotel itself was OK, but BEWARE of the shuttle. The shuttle to the airport was on time at 7:30 AM, but was jammed full, so that only 3 of the 10 people waiting for it could get in, including me. The video announced the next stop as "T2 TGV" and I was looking for Terminal 2. I got off at the promised next stop with about 10 others, but it wasn't at the airport. It was a loading dock and entrance to a business and nothing to do with terminal 2. I looked around in wind and rain until I found someone who knew that the ariport tram stop was about 200 meters away, with no sign indicating where. By a miracle, I made my flight. Apparently the shuttle made an unofficial stop BEFORE terminal 2, without warning. Clearly the hotel should warn people about this "unofficial" stop, assuming they can get on the shuttle at all!

"Disappointed "

User 06/12/2018

Not so good hotel. Breakfasts are average, dinners are really bad. Rooms lack accessories and toilet amenities. Beds are a bit on the smaller side. AC is good but toilet can't be warmed. Room looked clean but toilet wasn't really clean which was terrible. No option of late check out is also quite disappointing. Overall I think you should find better hotel in range of 100m around.

"Very noisy hotel with management not caring..."

cindi-from-indy, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 22/11/2018

We were put up for two nights by Air France for their mistakes, and we are sorry we got this hotel!!! Management allowed our room to be booked above another room that was having major renovations. Sawing, pounding, drilling, and scraping of walls...6:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.!!! Maids use the deadbolt keep the doors open when cleaning rooms, letting it bounce agaist the doorframe! When I confronted the general manager, all he did was give unsincere apologies They did offer to have us switch rooms, but who wants to pack everything back up, move, and unpack again????? Food in the restaurant was good, but service spotty. Grounds and room were clean. BUT BEWARE OF A GENERAL MANAGER THAT TELLS YOU THE CONSTRUCTION WORK IS ONLY DONE DURING THE DAY....ARE GUESTS NOT ALLOWED TO SLEEP AND RELAX DURING THE DAY????

"SAVIOR in crisis"

User 09/11/2018

Found this hotel by chance . Was frantically looking out for a replacement hotel for my boss who was expected to hand at CDG in few hours. Criteria was .., closer to airport , fit for a family , should not be isolated and off course Indian restaurant should be nearby.... and my search brought me to this hotel ..., So friends next time in Paris do try best western

"Horrible experience"

DianaDor, Bucuresti 27/10/2018

I wrote the below email to hotel management and I got no reaction: Dear Mrs. Pitot, I am writing to you with great disappointment about our recent stay at Best Western CDG. Let me describe the details below and will wait for your reaction on this as our discomfort was beyond description. We arrived on Wednesday night (myself together with my 4 years old son) at midnight, after difficulties with our flights from Berlin (we were supposed to arrive at 8 p.m.). We were given room no. 308, what I assume is a family/connecting room. As you probably know this room connects with both its neighbouring rooms (306 and 310). At 1 a.m., in one of the two rooms, there were a few male guests (spanish speaking) who were talking very loudly, slambing the doors many times which made the internal doors (in between rooms) shake. We could basically hear everything that was happening in their room, plus the doors shaking at 1 a.m., I assume you can imagine how my 4 years old child was feeling. Finally we could go to sleep but our neighbours had an early flight so they started again very early morning with the same noise (loud talking, door slambing, etc). Second night my husband and his father arrived and we asked to book one of the two neighbouring rooms so that we at least decrease the discomfort of connecting rooms only to 1 out of 2. This time, there was a guest who wanted to sleep next door and who was disturbed by my son making controlled noise at 9 p.m. (which is totally understandable). So the lady at the reception came to our door and told me with these words “Madame please put your kid to sleep, he is disturbing other guests”. I would like to understand what is the procedure you envisage to put a kid to sleep at 9 in the evening. Next morning, early in the morning, the cleaning personnel was cleaning the neighbouring room – loud slambing of the doors, making huge noise with all the bathroom objects (garbage bin, shower, cleaning devices), singing, etc. Again I believe you can imagine all the noise was happening just like she was in our room because of the connecting door. Third night, again at 1 a.m. we had neighbours. Again spanish speaking, this time women, minimum 3. They were talking extremely loudly, taking showers, blow drying their hair, talking from the room so that they could hear from the bathroom, making video calls with loud speaking again. It all lasted until 2 a.m. when I went to reception and complained. While complaining I specifically mentioned at least not to have cleaning ladies anywhere near our room the next day as it was important for my son to sleep a little later (we had a flight in the evening and I knew he will not be able to have his afternoon nap). Next morning, cleaning lady was in our room at 8.30 a.m. I believe no need to comment more. We had 2 rooms and paid around 1,000 EUR in total for this absolutely disturbing experience. The staff at the reception was friendly and we were refunded 60 EUR in the last day for breakfast but considering the level of continuous discomfort we experienced I expect a significant reduction to our accomodation price. I believe to pay 200 EUR/room/night for this level of service is not acceptable.

"Poor service and not as per global standards"

135nikunjg, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 21/10/2018

Poor service in hotel, no bathroom amenities. Facilities are not as per global standard. It should be as per international tourist (not only as per France). Hotel staff can't speak English. They should maintain international standards as majority of travellers are from outside of France.

"Terrible "

User 19/10/2018

Do a so called International Airport Hotel, the Best Western at Paris CDG is appalling. There is absolutely no signage at the airport explaining how to get to the Best Western. If you follow signs to ‘airport hotels' it takes you to another terminal. My flight came in late. At midnight, I could not get any food, a snack, a drink or even a bottle of water at this hotel. No water in the rooms. Rooms are very tired - grotty net curtains, stains in the wardrobes, inadequate shower curtain etc etc Do not use for business travel.

"What was chosen as "practical" turned out to surprise and delight!"

User 05/10/2018

I chose this location for price and location, Little did I know that I'd be delighted with the ambiance, and the food in the restaurant. Their food and service--although in modest decor-- could compete with any of the restaurants we enjoyed in Paris proper! Lovely breakfast in room (beware--order less than you think you need, the portions are very generous). Bonus service points....I forgot a pair of shoes in the room, and the reception employees were extremely responsive and sent my parcel of shoes promptly. WOW...Put to rest those complaints about "French Service". Tres bien!!!!

"Great location"

hollihb, Sandy, Utah 30/09/2018

The Best Western is close to the airport. It takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. The shuttle picks you up right in front of the hotel. The room was clean a little older but we just needed a place to stay until our early flight out in the morning. The food is expensive here but we didn't have many options because your quit away from everything.

"Worst experience"

User 27/09/2018

Had a family leisure trip to Paris and stayed there for 3 nights. I understand that there are pros and cons for everything but here underwent the worst nightmare of our life! 1) only good thing is the room size which is spacious 2) breakfast buffet - pathetic,no options, all 3 days same menu. Number of items decreasing day by day. No breads, few fruits, no refilling of items if over in continental breakfast buffet!! When asked for the same say they can't cater to huge group of people then why let them stay in your hotel and take money for breakfast! 3) saved the worst for the last-rude and discourteous housekeeping staff. They don't put towels and when asked for replacement got an answer- u must have put 'DND' sign(which I didn't of course). The room was cleaned, old towels put away in that sign but new towels can't be kept!! N housekeeping rude lady just barged in my room without knocking when I was feeding my baby to keep towels and behaving badly that where are the old towels! WTFH u cleaned my room u should know where are the old towels man! And they make you clean the room's dustbins which is their own duty and the dustbin was dirty the day you checked in! 4) racist behaviour of the housekeeping staff- we being Indians were not greeted at all while the other people passing by us were greeted courteously! All in all won't ever recommend this to anyone who wants some humane behaviour!

"American size room with two double beds!"

ChemyTraveller, Toronto, Canada 28/08/2018

Yes, the hotel is under construction but for a one night stay before going back home... it was not a problem for us. we arrived around 4pm, check-in was quick and easy, put our luggages in the room and went for a walk to the nice little town right behind the hotels strip (5 mins walk) for dinner. When we came back to the hotel, work as stop for day and the next morning we woke-up early and went back to town of breakfast... so the construction was not a problem for us. I was travelling with my wife and my 5 years old son and after spending few nights in a European "family" room (small) with 1 small bed and 1 folding bed with no place to put your luggages, so I was looking to spend my last night in France in a hotel with an American size room, two double beds and space to organize my stuff... and that is what I got at the Best Western and the parking is not too expensive. My room was not newly renovated because they had none available but it was very clean and I got it at a very good rate. I had a quick look inside of one of the new room and they look pretty good.

"Good Hotel"

527purir, New Delhi, India 12/08/2018

An above average hotel. The staff at reception specially night duty staff need to be more courteous. Room was very good. Restaurant servers were very rude, need to be courteous and hospitable. Breakfast and dinner menu does not offer any worthwhile choices. It offers only hardly any choice. Better go out and eat in nearby village restaurants. Self service for any and every need that you may have in room.

"Avoid completely, hotel under construction, "

Sarah A, Oldham, United Kingdom 04/08/2018

We booked a 3 night stay in the hotel with parking and breakfast upon arriving we were advised no breakfast and no parking was included, the following morning at 8am above our room we was woken up by a loud bang and hammering which continued for approximately 40mins when calling the reception they advised that the hotel is under renovation which will take about 3 years, we asked to borrow a adapter and was told by the staff that their is a €10 charge per night, we decided to book elsewhere After spending one night at the hoteland checked out, AVOID COMPLETELY IF YOU WANT A PIECE FULL SLEEP.

"2 nights stay - comfort and style"

User 01/08/2018

Near to the airport and lush green surroundings. Stayed here for two nights. Good spacious rooms and meals on the groundfloor They also have an outdoor area for private parties near the rear entrance.

"Overnight at CDG - due to missed flight"

User 30/07/2018

There's not many reasons to stay overnight at Charles de Gaulle airport, unfortunately we missed a connecting flight at 9pm and had to stay overnight at cdg. The Best Western is a hotel in a strip of hotels in Roissy next to the airport. There is a pink bus line shuttle service running from the T2 RER train station at level 5. We had to wait about 35 minutes for the bus at 11pm on a Saturday night. The Hotel is very tired and worn, it appears that renovations were starting as we checked out. For the next few weeks or months there is only a temporary restaurant serving breakfast, which was not worth waking up for. The Town of Roissy is on the door step and ok for an hour or so stroll.

"Value for money "

MichaelCos14, City of Venice, Italy 21/07/2018

Stayed overnight on way home to Australia. Comfortable value for money hotel. Efficient check in, clean room & comfortable beds. Onsite restaurant nice as well. The reception also arranged taxi for checkout. Only 10 minutes from Paris CDG Airport.

Very surprised at very comfortable room and after finding comfortable dining room was very impressed with quality of meals, which were pserved by very helpful waiter. Very happy to be served by very helpful and cheerful staff. Great place to stay

"Stranger tries to enter room at 1:00 a.m. No one at hotel helps!"

mproberts123, Tega Cay 17/07/2018

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I was a guest at your hotel Sunday, July 15 until the morning of July 16. My traveling companions and I spent the evening at your hotel as our last stop of a 15 day stay in France. This was my first trip to Europe. Prior to around 1:00 a.m on July 16, it was an amazing experience. After checking into your hotel, my friends, Mr. and Mrs. S.and I, enjoyed watching a bit of the World Cup followed by dinner in your restaurant. We retired early in order to get rested for our upcoming day of travel home to the United States. At about 1:00 a.m., I was jolted from a sound sleep from someone trying to open my hotel room door. I ran to the door and looked through the peephole. I saw a man standing at my door trying to open the door. I screamed, "NO!". The man kept trying to open the door. More emphatically, I screamed, "NO!!!". The man continued to try to gain entry. I screamed even louder, " GO AWAY!!!". Finally, after what seemed like hours, the man left my doorway. I watched through the peephole for some time. I made my way to the phone to call the number listed on my hotel card in case of emergency. The person I talked to simply said, "sorry" and asked for my name. NOTHING else. No offer to send security to my room. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. I was terrified and shocked to not receive ANY support from anyone in your hotel. I called my husband in the United States. Of course, he couldn't do anything from across the ocean. He told me to call the hotel, but did I mention that they did NOTHING for me. I hated to wake my friends, but I felt I had no choice. At after one o'clock in the morning, I called my friends and asked for my male friend to come and retrieve me from my room ( I did not feel safe leaving on my own) so that I could interrupt their night and sleep in their room as I was much too terrified to sleep in room 501. After safely getting tucked into my friend's room, it took over two hours for me to calm down enough to go to sleep. In the morning, by the light of day, I returned to my assigned room to get my things and myself prepared for leaving. I found that my key would not work. I went down to the desk to get my key working and to again tell my story of the early morning. I was asked why I didn't call. But I DID CALL!!!! The woman at the desk in the morning offered to have security go up with me that morning, while it was daylight. Although I appreciated the gesture, NO ONE was willing to help me at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. when my safety was being threatened. NO ONE at the hotel. NO ONE! As my friends and I checked out and my friends mentioned their concern about what happened to me, we were offered breakfast??? exchange for my terror? I looked at my key. I took a picture of my key (attached). It seems to me that I have not been the first to have such an experience at the Best Western Paris Cdg Airport hotel. Since you have cameras posted in your hotel, I am sure you will see the man at my door and shortly after, see my male travel companion arrive to retrieve me and my luggage in the middle of the night. What I am asking for is not for breakfast, or a free stay, or a robe. What I am asking for is to be the very LAST guest to ever have this type of experience in your hotel. Sincerely, Mary Presson Roberts

"Far from 4* "

Massimiliano T, Verona, Italy 15/07/2018

Old hotel. Unfriendly and unprepared staff at reception. Old and dirty carpets in the rooms. Beds have wheels and not stable. Cleaners are noisy. Location is ok if you are traveling in&out of CDG airport. Better hotels available in the area. Absolutely not worth the price.

"Over nighter before flight "

Joel T, Surrey, Canada 13/07/2018

Perfect hotel for a one our two night lay over. Friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and bath. Would have been nice if they had a swimming pool. Average equipped work out facility, enough to get by. Just a ten minute walk to the village area where some very cool restaurants are located.

"noisy: under construction"

bysamolina, Oakville, Canada 12/07/2018

We paid for the king suite, but the noise of drilling and construction was extremely loud. My husband was able to sleep through it, but I couldn't. Not a lot of choices in the breakfast lounge, but you can order eggs and they will make it for you. After a 3 week vacation in Bangkok, I was disappointed in the Best Wester Paris!

"Average to poor"

Apteryx42, Abidjan, Ivory Coast 07/07/2018

Nothing fancy here. Room was clean, comfy with a big TV. However not very practical set up. For example no place to put the soap in the shower except the floor. Hair dryer hidden in a closet outside the bathroom. Mini bar with only one bottle of water. No room service menu in the room. This hotel has potential, but they are not taking avantage if it and are falling short on many aspects.

"Very average"

User 05/07/2018

This place has seen better days. Sadly in need of major renovation. The reception area has been prettied up to give some sort of high impression, but it falls way short. The rooms are basic and despite saying there is a minibar, there isn't. Plastic cups in the bathroom instead of glass and a crappy tv all give off the smell of cheap skates. This place a miss. As a matter of fact the whole hotel precinct here needs knocking down and rebuilding. Not impressed at all.

"Had a comfortable stay at this hotel."

vaishalicb90, Muscat, Oman 03/07/2018

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was fine too. However, the property seemed to be quite old. The breakfast wasn't that great. Only concern was there were too many mosquitoes at the restaurant.

"Good for one night stop-over in transit only."

pisang, Perth Australia 22/06/2018

This hotel is accessible by using the shuttle bus, but it depends on the timing of course. On my night there I found the bus stop at Terminal 2F, and got there five minutes after the "Pink" shuttle bus departed. It was then 40 minutes waiting for the bus to return, whilst tired. Once on the bus I discovered that The Best Western Hotel was the last stop, so the "convenient to the airport" slogan was running short of tolerance by the time I got to the hotel; a total of 80 minutes. Sadly the reception staff had problems so I waited another 25 minutes to be checked-in. Once in the room, where I would sleep overnight, I found it of good size and very comfortable, although you could hear some aircraft noise: Well, Pisang123, it IS near an airport :) I had a good sleep and check-out was efficient and courteous. The good news that as the "last" drop off point means that upon pick-up it is the fastest shuttle bus ride to the airport; about ten minutes. In future I am not sure if I would do this and if I arrived into Paris by TGV Train, as I had on this occasion, probably it would be easier to stay near the railway station overnight and get the early morning bus to the airport. But for transit passengers this hotel is a good option. It's all in the timing.

"Convenient to CDG"

Cary S, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin 18/06/2018

I would definitely stay here again. It served its purpose of being a reasonably priced overnighter near CDG. It was about a 10 minute taxi ride (€20). I found out later that there was a free shuttle, not run by the hotel, but it services the hotel. We also enjoyed a decent meal at their restaurant, sea bass, again for a decent price.

"Wow "

BRT K, Monaco 10/06/2018

This was a stop over arrive at 1am out at 7am and that was long enough I'm a diamond member and got a suite on the 3 floor that smelt like a 1980s casino the bed was like a rock Plenty of room with seperate lounge and bedroom bathroom u couldn't swing a cat in shower was nice and would be better if water came out in one direction “down” the best part was the water pressure it was great The view was of the rubbishy parking lot I slept with 2 little windows open to get rid of the smell There was lots of toiletries and the front desks answered questions directly and good English There was a small treat I'm guessing for my status I still had a few hours to kill but decided the airport would be better then the state room My First time using an airport hotel in France and will try another next time thanks

"Great hotel"

User 10/06/2018

Stayed here for one night.Great clean and very convenient hotel if you need to stay overnight at CDG.Room was well appointed and clean.Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was good, even if breakfast was a little pricey but there was a good selection of items.Front office people were good and helpful. All together it was a great stay.

"Easy connection but old style rooms."

Buzz1976, Bollezeele, France 01/06/2018

Was there one night because of delayed plane. Easy to reach via free coaches. Nice continental breakfast. Newspaper free. Old style rooms. Tv screen 10 years old. Bed was good. Perfect for short stay but not more

"Nice but a bit inconvenient"

AlvinTaikor, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 24/05/2018

This is a nice hotel, rooms are spacious n clean. Very close by to airport but there's just no convenience stores around, making it a bit inconvenient. I like their design of having different elevators serving different rooms, otherwise everybody will be waiting at thd same location for the elevators/lifts.

jumb0jax, Hermosa Beach, California 19/05/2018

Shuttle from Hotel to Airport undependable, so best to stay at another hotel that provides its own Shuttle, NOT the Shuttle servuce shared by all the hotels in the area. Otherwise, plan to spend $50 Euro on a Taxi.

"Best western CDG"

User 28/04/2018

It's a nice hotel, calm and serene ambience, view of mountains from the front. It's a bit far from city Hustle, but in the midst of many great hotels nearby. Breakfast buffet was nice, with generous service. Well as we visited in April air-conditioning was not available in Europe, rather I would suggest them to maintain Temperature at 24 degrees or so throughout, that would be anyways better. And we can have atleast a bottle of water on daily basis rather only on check-in. Best of luck, and Thanks for the hospitality

"Don't let Air France dump you here after they botch your connection"

John P, Wayland, Massachusetts, United States 22/04/2018

Was put here by Air France after they botched our connections. Tired and stained carpets. 2 threadbare towels in the bath. Plastics cups instead of glasses in the bathroom. No bar of soap in the bathroom.

"Outstanding Airport Hotel"

Isaac E, London, United Kingdom 26/03/2018

I stayed overnight in room 492 on the fourth floor and I was well received by the staff who are very professional. The was very spacious, neat and comfortable bed. There's a flat screen television with kettle and tea/coffee. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The inbuilt closet was also generous. The Pink shuttle hotels airport bus stops outside the hotel and its every twenty minutes from Terminal 2A. There are restaurant and bar. The only problem is returning to the airport in the morning as the shuttle bus is usually full because best western is the last hotel on the route, so give yourself plenty of time. Please see the photo of the reception area and the bed room of room 492

"Good option for a nearby place from CDG"

User 18/03/2018

The hotel is well located to the CDG airport the lobby and bar is modern and recently redecorated so its great. The individual room size is ok, furniture a little bit old, restroom a little undersized , it has carpet so a funny smell in the room it not that good. It is on a main road where there are local restaurantes nearby unfortunately all of them are closed on Sunday's so your only option is the hotels restaurant witch is ok, club sandwich, pasta, hamburger, beef, chicken are main dishes Service is ok for the price

"impromtu stay"

DublinGirl353, Dublin, Ireland 14/03/2018

We recently stayed here for three nights. Our flight had been cancelled so we had to find somewhere to stay for the weekend. As a family of 4 we booked into this hotel. We found it good value for money with WIFI and breakfast included. good location with easy access to the airport/ train station and shopping centre (aeroville). We took a walk into the village and found it lovely. Friendly staff. Restaurant could have been better stocked for breakfast, some mornings there was no bread and only eggs for a hot breakfast option but overall we were happy with our stay and the value for money we received.

165calebg, Lakewood, California 28/02/2018

Overall this place was good. The rooms were clean and nice, good size also. The employees at the front desk were multilingual but were kind of rude. Website advertised currency exchange but they claimed that they don't do it. There is an on-site restaurant but the prices are high, same with breakfast high prices. The hotel is in the middle of an area of all just hotels with nothing in walking distance. Save yourself some euros and don't take their airport shuttle, just take the pink line hotel bus from either CDg terminal 2 near the TGV station or terminal 3 roissypole station that comes every 20 minuets.

"Nice hotel, room, with wifi and shuttle BUT deeply disappointed in Fitness Room Hours!"

Travelworkqueen, Roissy-en-France, France 18/01/2018

I travel alot and book hotels with fitness rooms so I can squeeze in a workout. Arrived at Best Western Hotel and the women was super nice but I don't remember her telling me that the Fitness Room was ONLY open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. I arrived downstairs at 10:15 p.m. to be told rather rudely that there was NO way to work out now nor any chance of working out in the morning before going to the airport. I mentioned that this was the only reason I booked this hotel and they were entirely unconcerned. Not sure what century this is but why can't jet lagged guests access a fitness room 24/7?

"Good if you want to be in Paddington area. "

flynomore, Florence, Kentucky 10/01/2018

Nice big and clean room. Good English breakfast. This is an old hotel so be ready to carry your bags up narrow stairways multiple floors. But it is a good value for the price. The internet wasn't working when we were there which for me was a big negative. There was no chair or desk in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"Paris Charles deGaulle Airport Best Western"

R2017CathyT, Santa Barbara, California 07/01/2018

Good choice of hotel if you want a good night's sleep close to the airport. Clean, spacious, soundproof rooms with all necessary amenities customarily found in 3-4 star hotels in the States (i.e. unlike many French hotels where there is no washcloth, hairdryer, etc). And the staff is friendly too.

"Big room, big beds but some blemishes. The water is horrid."

Stephen S, Gold Coast 28/12/2017

During my three country European tour and a number of hotels I've stayed in, this Best Western had the biggest room and biggest sized bed I've seen. We stayed here for four days during our visit of Paris. The lighting was sufficient though I would've preferred a bit more. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. However, there were some blemishes. Firstly, there was no bar fridge provided. It seems the entire bar fridge had disappeared from its expected location, which was very odd. Also, the hot water kettle was very dirty and had a white slag stuck to the bottom, which made the water appear misty. It looked like a previous customer had tried to make coffee in it. It looked very disgusting, so I phoned reception to replace the kettle. The reception diverted me to the restaurant, interestingly, where again I had to explain the situation. 20 minutes later, someone came to replace the kettle, which was comparatively cleaner but I still noticed this white residue stuck on the bottom. There was also a white residue floating on the surface of the water after boiling as well and a noticeably horrid taste in the water. I don't know if it is purely because of Paris water or a combination of it with a dirty kettle, but the water quality definitely had put me off. The buffet breakfast was quite good with a good selection. Definitely more substantial than a traditional "Continental breakfast", with sausages, meatballs, scrambled eggs, salad, yoghurt, baguettes, and croissants. No napkin was provided for holding the baguette while trying to cut it, so it was a bit worrying whether previous patrons had their hands touching the "wrong" end of the baguette. :o

User 26/12/2017

Hotel and staff was great, very friendly. The restaurant was awesome. The tour taxi was really bad, we bought a three hour tour, by pick up taxi. The taxi was 2 hours late. When he turned up he says one hour for going to Paris , one hour for coming bad, and one hour tour in Paris. The rite was a farce, he gave us 5-10 minute and threatened to leave if we were late. He drove by Noter dame, did not take us to the Effie tower , only to a place where we can get good pictures of it and just run his errands and made us walk out for 5 minutes while he did his errands. I would nit recommend thus service to anyone, especially taxi driver from Ravindran ,Sri lankan. He was ride, theta then to leave up stranded many times. We paid $60 for one hours, for such bad service.

"Layover for next morning flight"

User 18/12/2017

Came here for my layover flight from Paris to Prague. We landed at terminal 3 which is very very close to best western, but it would cost 20 euro for less than one mile distance. We decide to take air shuttle pink line. oh my...., once we get on the shuttle. Best western is the last stop of the go around shuttle bus....took almost 40 mins with lots of people on and off. Finally got to the hotel, check in to the room. Found out they don't offer soup shampoo conditioning toothbrush and everything else. Only thing they offer for u is all in one shower/shampoo all in one gel. Anyway long story short. It's a very standard near airport terminal hotel. I? would not expect more from it. Would try other hotel for comparison when we return.

"very average hotel"

User 05/12/2017

really a place to sleep if you don't want to spend the night at the airport. most of the hotels in the area look quite horrible like many French hotels. this is a non/smoking hotel, my room smelled really badly of the cigarettes and I had to change it. it is quite raggedy and old, the corridors stink of cigarettes as well. in the old room before I changed I could not even change the temperature of the thermostat and it was really cold there, in the other room which was significantly newer I could adjust the temperature. sleep quality was quite nice but maybe it was also because I really do love listening to starting airplanes, this is an airport hotel and the windows do not filter out the sound much. one thing that was really amazing, though, were the staff, all very professional, nice, spoke English well. if you land at CDG airport, note that there is a free transfer / shuttle service from terminal 2D to this hotel via the pink line every circa 20 minutes.

"nice hotel near airport"

User 01/12/2017

we had travelled to europe in last week of july 17 under a holiday package from D Pauls ,India. We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The experience was really nice. The buffet breakfast was OK. The rooms are pretty decent. Do remember to carry your adaptar to charge your mobile phones. Lots of decent restaurants are also available near this hotel. You can also take a morning or evening walk . Overall a very good experience.

"Location, Location, Location!"

Jeffrey K, Westerville, Oh 30/11/2017

After a month in Europe, the last 2 nights were spent here. Our room was 321 and faced the rear parking lot so it was away from the street traffic. The room was nice but we kept the window open as the a/c apparently had been switched off already. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast buffet was good also. It was a short walk to some area restaurants as well. The shuttle to the airport seemed to take a long route which we took twice after turning in the rental car the day before but then CDG is a huge complex so no shortcuts I guess. I thought that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

I was here for two days and I quite enjoy the staying. I found the room clean and cozy, the staff was nice and able to speak English not only French. I had dinner at the restaurant where I enjoyed a great onion soup and very good meat. The staff was very polite and friendly. Bill was good as well. I recommend both restaurant and hotel ;)

"Easy Overnight Hotel"

MERW869, Kentucky 30/10/2017

This is a perfect hotel for an overnight before or after a CDG flight. Hotel is nice, rooms are large, beds comfortable, price reasonable, and a friendly & helpful staff. Frequent shuttle to Terminal 2 makes travel so easy! If you have time and the weather is nice, the walk to Roissy village, through the park is easy and pleasant. Overall a great overnight stop.

"Good Stop off"

User 30/10/2017

I stayed in this hotel when I was passing through Paris on my way back from a business trip to the South of France. The location of this hotel is fantastic as it is very close to the motorway and is also a stones throw away from the airport as the name would suggest. Most of the staff at this hotel were very helpful although there was one receptionist who was very abrupt and didn't look like she wanted to be there. I only ate breakfast at this hotel as it was only a overnight stop but the breakfast was very nice and filling. There was plenty and it was self service. The rooms in this hotel are very comfortable and have everything that you could possibly need for a good nights rest. Given the location of this hotel I would assume that not too many people will stay for more than one night and it is a very good hotel for that.

"The Flea Pit - Clean Your Windows !"

User 19/10/2017

Our flight was cancelled due to weather conditions back home and Easy Jet put my family up in this hotel for 3 nights until their next available flight home for us. So to point out I didn't choose to stay at this hotel it was somewhat chosen for us and although we are extremely thankful for everything Easy Jet did to accommodate us this hotel and the lack of customer service has to be pointed out to those that may chose this hotel themselves. On arrival we noticed firstly the filth on the windows the cigarette butts lying across the entrance and the lady that checked us in was extremely rude and unwelcoming we knew in an instant this wasn't us. The room itself was basic but comfortable but dated and no air con so very stuffy although the fridge worked fine and there was an ice machine in the hall way. The bathroom was ok and did the job. The food for dinner at the buffet was terrible not much choice at all if you don't like fish or under cooked meats your only option was pasta the staff in the restaurant did smile and welcome us to our table. The bus service to the airport and shopping centre was very good and we figured this out ourselves as the reception staff were dreadful and we felt that asking anything was too much trouble. All in all we made the most of a bad hotel and would maybe suit a solo business traveller but for the lack of customer service especially as we had a issue with EasyJet that could of been resolved by a phone call they said they wouldn't make and the pure filth of the place and the fact that I'd never set foot in it again I can't reward more than one star.

"Convenient Location for CDG"

rr177, Waterbury, Connecticut 18/10/2017

I stayed here one night before flying out of CDG Airport. I had a rental car and I did have a little trouble finding the hotel. There are about 20 hotels or more all together and there is a free shuttle that runs about every 15 minutes. The receptionist was very friendly and I was quickly checked in. My room was large, comfortable and clean. I could hear the airplanes taking off, but i'm sure it would be the same for all the hotels in this location. I didn't eat here, but they have a breakfast buffet, and restaurant for dinner, and a bar that also serves food.

"Accommodation Okay But Restaurant Lets It Down"

peter_fussell, Christchurch, New Zealand 18/10/2017

Flying out of CDG Airport early the following morning so was looking for a night accommodation close to the airport - got a good deal at the Best Western. Our room was of a good size and standard - what you would expect from any chain hotel quality wise. Hotel has all the necessary facilities. All well until we went to the main restaurant for dinner, this turned out to be a real let down. A reasonable selection available, we went with steak, veal and pasta. Prices certainly getting up there, so expecting a good quality meal. Though we would give the onion soup a try, first mistake, none of us could finish it. Next three mains and an entree was brought out (still one main to come) - the steak turned out to be an overcooked piece of shoe leather and a few wilted lettuce leaves the pasta, well the less said about that the better. All mains finished and we were still waiting for the last main (veal), a reminder to the waiter eventually saw that served. This meal was worth the wait, the veal just melted in your mouth, well presented. If we hadn't eaten in the establishment would have said this was a good quality stay, but the restaurant certain lets this place down.

BW95700, Responsable relations clients at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Peter, Thank you for your constructive feedback! We are glad that you found the room amenities comfortable and sincerely regret that some of the selected dishes were not prepared correctly. With our reiterated apologies for the inconvenience, we hope to welcome you very soon, so we may provide a better quality of service at all points. Kindest regards, Tara

"Should be Not Quite Best Western!"

emgarb, South Carolina 02/10/2017

Airport hotel - they can be good, bad or any variation. I've never stayed in a great airport hotel, but have been in several pretty good ones over the years. This one had the A/C shut off for the season on a hot and humid nite when we needed sleep and opening the window gave us a drop of a breeze and lots of noise. How can you do that to consumers who are there to get some sleep before a long flight - who makes an irreversible decision to switch from A/C to heat - is there nobody with any common sense in management? The room was outdated but ok, but what was in poor shape was the bathroom. Definitely needs an overhaul. The staff was friendly; the shuttle was on time - the restaurant had good food and great service and that was a positive!

BW95700, Responsable réception at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Emgarb, We highly thank you for your constructive feedback. Your comment for the staff and restaurant will be shared with the whole team. It motivate us to provide a better quality of service despite the issues encountered. Regarding the A/C and heather reversible system, the A/C was activated during the day and automatically switched to the heather mode for the night. It is true that the inter- season period is harder to manage as we meet some variable temperatures. For this reason, some fans are available when it is requested. Concerning the outdated rooms, we are glad to inform you that some renovation works are planned very soon. Therefore, we look forward to welcoming you back next year, when the hotel will be totally refreshed. Kindest regards, Tara

"Great disabled room"

70Maddy, Plymouth, United Kingdom 29/09/2017

We stayed there for one night on our journey back from Switzerland. Room was excellent. Had a walk in shower and plenty of toiletries and a big TV to boot! Which does make a change from having the smallest TV hotels can get away with screwed to the wall in the far distance! Breakfast was extremely busy but had plenty of choice of things to eat.

"Not a 4stars for me"

User 28/09/2017

Really not a 4 stars hotel. I've already been in a bunch of 4 stars hotels and this one isn't in the same level of the others. Restaurant food not as expected for the price asked. WiFi very weak, even seated almost alone in the lobby. Speaking about lobby, staff at main reception seems they are doing a favor if asked some information. Room TV seemed from a 2 stars hotel. At the bathroom not even shampoo or air dryer. About cleanliness as everything ok! Also good mattress and bed, had a nice rest until about 6h30 when some Asian persons decided to start beating some doors and speaking loud in the corridors. Also nice conference rooms!

"Average Decent Hotel"

PMuthuthanthri, Colombo, Sri Lanka 19/09/2017

Our room had an Electric Kettle but no mugs, no tea, no coffee,no sugar, what is the point? Reception displayed 4*?? - a mis guider rating for tourist. Breakfast and Set Menu Dinner were okay. Room was comfortable, no twin beds. I was in a group and had to share the bed. In all asian hotels I visited the basic facilities were available, but not found in the Hotel. Any reason why Star * ratings not adhered ?

"Good airport overnight."

Michael B, San Francisco 07/09/2017

Very nice hotel, good facilities, convenient to the airport with the shuttle especially in the morning when you go in it is the first stop 10 minutes tops. Restaurant is good buffet and excellent varied selection.

"Decent Hotel near Airport"

RajeevChauhan, New Delhi, Delhi, India 05/09/2017

Pros: 1. Just 3Kms from Airport. 2. Spacious Room with a decent mattress & pillows for sound sleep. 3. Free WiFi, satellite TV, tea, and coffee maker in Room 4. Free buffet breakfast 5. Reception open 24x7 Cons: 1. The Nearest convenience store is 10 minutes walk.

"Good hotel for overnight"

User 03/09/2017

We were on our way back from holidays and we booked BWester. The hotel is an average hotel with good rooms for 4 persons families. The rooms are clean but a little bit old. The hotel has an average breakfast menu. The personel was friendly and attentive. Parking is not included in the room price. Wi-Fi is free.

"Worn out with Mediocre Restaurant"

User 27/08/2017

This Best Western is far enough from the airport to not hear jets taking off and surrounded by trees and shrubs, seems like a green haven. The front desk seems like it could be updated and glamorized; the wallpaper looked like it was ready to be peeled off. Our room size was adequate but the carpeting so stained I didn't want to take off my shoes. Appreciate the tea kettle with a couple bags of tea and packages of coffee. We went downstairs for dinner. Wine was sold by the bottle except one choice of wine by the glass and that wasn't very good. After enjoying French bread for a month, the hard rolls didn't make it. I suffered through a Cobb salad that was uninspired and my husband didn't like his John Dory plate. The dining room was almost empty. This hotel seems to be used by tour companies which explains to me why it's not more focused on the individual traveler.

"Dated but comfortable and really great staff"

KSB_10, Greenbelt, Maryland 27/08/2017

We just needed a room for one night before we could take a flight back home. The staff we encountered there were all very nice and welcoming and a definite plus for an otherwise nondescript airport hotel. Beds were comfortable and noise minimal. Bathroom looked like something out of the 1980's with a bidet awkwardly placed but it was clean. Breakfast buffet was good and offered some variety. The hotel is also on the pink hotel shuttle line from the airport although for some reason, CDG is the only airport in the world that offers shuttle busses not designed to hold luggages. Alternatively, a cab is about 10 euros. Overall, for an airport hotel, it is definitely fine.

"Terrible Customize Service"

DelphineGenn, Vail, Colorado 20/08/2017

We booked a room at the last minute online and didn't have the chance to book our second room for our kids from HotelTonight while rushing and travelling... We thought we could easily figure this out when we will arrive at the hotel. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk made it difficult, didn't want to give us a room if our children weren't next to us or a double bed wasn't acceptable with 3 children etc things that we never experiences before... She raised the voice and offer a discount afterwards. We had 2 rooms next to each others. Anyway 45 minutes to sort it out for booking 2 rooms. Terrible services, expecting better welcome when you travel internationally with 3 kids. Never again with this hotel...

"Personal items went "missing" from our room"

User 19/08/2017

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and we had an ok stay. The hotel is about 60 mins from central Paris by taking the shuttle to CDG terminal 2 and then the train. The hotel looks old from the outside but has been modernised internally. Our room was pleasant with two double beds, fridge, flat screen tv, good storage and an excellent shower. However, after we checked out we realised we had left some personal items in the room. We reported this within a few hours to the best western staff. From this point onwards the communication was poor and it took almost a week for a message from them to say they could not find our items. I can only assume that they were stolen by staff or they didn't check the room quick enough and the next guests who were staying in the same room had taken our items. Either way they treated my request in an unprofessional and incompetent manner. We've received no offer of compensation or an explanation. If they really cared about their customers they would have reacted much more quickly to this issue. As a result of this we are out of pocket. I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be using best western again.

"Fine for Overnight Stay"

TKS92, Saint Louis, Missouri 15/08/2017

I chose this property because I literally just needed a place to sleep prior to catching an early morning flight out of CDG. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is clean. You can tell it's an older property that's been remodeled. Grabbed dinner at the restaurant and it was fine. Breakfast is sub-par. It's really a no-frills kind of place and fine if you just need to sleep. No iron or ironing board in room. Air-conditioned and hair dryer equipped.

"Good value hotel - very honest staff."

Craig F, Doha, Qatar 23/07/2017

My son several days into our holiday realised that he left his iPad somewhere, but he had no idea where. Two weeks after we stayed there, we turned up at the hotel in the hope it turned up and, much to his relief, there it was. Found by housekeeping, reported to security and handed over by reception. The hotel was good value for 4 people, an ok sized room, the breakfast was pretty good and the shuttle bus made it easy to get too and from the airport.

"peaceful, yet excellent view from the windows to see the fireworks on the night before Bastille Day."

jpvihko, Helsinki, Finland 21/07/2017

Excellent clean rooms with a large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful personnel.A wonderful breakfast buffet. A short distance from the airport. This must be the best place to stay in paris in the CdG airport vicinity.

"Fine Hotel Near CDG"

skygoddesstrish, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 16/07/2017

Very nice hotel, particularly the front desk staff. I would personally point out Bachir, who was so welcoming and personable. Our room was clean and good size. Even have free water, OJ, etc. in the small refrigerator. We ate dinner at the restaurant and though service was a bit slow the staff was trying very hard. We didn't care; we sipped on our glass of wine while we waited! Free buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent. All in all, a good stay.

jenniferb1100000, Loughborough, United Kingdom 16/07/2017

Good clean and mixed sized rooms which are nice and unfaultable with a convenient location however what is faultable is the customer services. There was one person on checkin whilst another woman said she could not check us in meaning we stood and waited around 20-25 minutes with only one customer being served. Another thing to add is that the airport holds a large amount of travellers who are customers who are most likely tired so whoever had the idea to to send a girl at 8:45 to check if our mini bar needs filling may need to rethink that hotel strategy as it woke us all up!!

"Adequate and comfortable."

donsellsyachts, Tortola 12/07/2017

Last nights stay in Europe before catching our flight back to the BVI. Clean, good transportation to the airport via shuttle bus that services many hotels. Good size, clean, helpful employees...nice but not extremely memorable.

User 11/07/2017

Comfortable and clean room, good brekfast, late closing bar, 10mn from terminal with free shuttle, fast internet. Got a good price from another website but to be honest I didn't try TripAdvisor. All in all, will come back again.

"ok for one night "

honky_tonk89, Deutschland 08/07/2017

We needed a good and cheap airport hotel. The Best Western is such a hotel. Rooms are sour and tidy. I would say 70s style but OK. Free airport shuttle. Breakfast is available. friendly staff. 3km from the airport

"Good customer service"

bluenose1876, Elan Valley 25/06/2017

My son (age 31) and I stayed overnight on the 24 June 2017. On arrival in our room we discovered that I had booked a superior double and no a twin as I had thought. At reception I explained my mistake to the receptionist and asked if there was a twin room available as we didn't want to share a double bed. They were very understanding and managed to give us a twin room. After an 8 hour drive from the South of France we were both feeling tired. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Would definitely recommend.

"If this is a 4 star hotel I expect McDonald's will have a Michelin star by next week"

User 08/06/2017

I was surprised to receive a Best Western as my 4 star hotel via express deals on Priceline in the CDG airport area. Best Westerns in the US are known as lower-end but I went into my stay with a positive attitude understanding that hotels chains differ by country. Let's just say I'm happy I didn't get bed bugs. Terribly dated decoration with a long black hair on my pillow and several more in and around the shower. Noticeably dirty in other areas including the bathroom exhaust fan that looked as though it was taking part in some type of dust collection competition. This place seems to exist as an overflow hotel for people with airline vouchers and I personally have less faith than ever in how hotels can receive or claim certain star level ratings.

"Wonderful Airport Stay"

Ducky123, Morgan Hill, California 04/06/2017

Our stay near the airport was awesome! Clean and fresh rooms. The staff is friendly and professional especially Aimata. Breakfast was great. Complimentary shuttle to the airport is timely and convenient. Can't say enough. Thank you BW for a great last night in Paris!

"Great value! In-room wifi was down though."

Erin S, Denver, United States 01/06/2017

We stayed here for 1 night at the tail end of a 9 day trip. The price was the best of comparable hotels in the area, which is why we picked this hotel. Location is good as their are several restaurants in a nice village maybe 5 min walk from the hotel. Also, the free bus is very convenient. Hotel room is styled more like an American hotel with 2 double beds and lots of space, much bigger and nicer than everywhere else we stayed in France! Only complaint was that we had to go to the lobby to use wifi as in-room wifi was down. We warned about this at check-in though, which was appreciated.

"Perfect spot!"

User 29/05/2017

Stayed here the night before an early flight. The hotel reception was so nice and friendly and had all the info we needed for the shuttle in the morning, starts at 5am. We took the train into CDG and grabbed the Black line shuttle from Terminal 2 to get to the hotel, super easy. Our room was perfect and so comfortable for the last night of our vacation. We didn't see much to do in the neighborhood and didn't use the restaurant but it seemed to have some liveliness to it. The price was great, some issues with wifi in the room but that's pretty standard when you have an entire hotel using a network. Highly recommend!

"Nice Hotel. Close to the airport"

User 17/05/2017

Decent hotel lobby with small but nice and functional gym. Hotel rooms are getting slowly obsolete but it is still acceptable. We had their whole week workshop and the services were good. Perfect breakfasts and lunches as well. Quick (15minutes) and free of charge bus shuttle to the airport is great benefit.

"The best Best Western I've ever stayed in"

sssNoVa_VA, NoVa,VA 09/05/2017

Wow, talk about a fancy Best Western! From the lobby to the restaurant (we had an amazing dinner there), this place is great. We only stayed one night prior to our departure and had no issues. We dropped off our car (to save time in the morning) and then took the free shuttle from airport to the hotel and then took it in the morning back to the airport for our flight out.

H2oVision, Bellingham, Washington 01/05/2017

Had flight cancelled and SAS put us up at this hotel. It is rated 4-Star but it is 3-Star at best. I stayed in room 345 and wallpaper is peeling off walls and the room had a musty smell to it. Shower was weak and water did not drain. Bedding was stiff and scratchy and dinner in restaurant was not very good. The bright spot is that the Front Desk staff was very personable and polite and the restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. I will not stay here again.

"Comfortable and less than staying at the airport"

Dankick, Puget Sound 15/03/2017

Should you ever need to spend a night at or near Charles De Gaulle airport to catch an early flight or support a late arrival, this place is ideal. Their web site says there is a nominal fee for the shuttle bus but it was free and there was no option to pay so I assume the web site may be slightly dated. Rooms are very large for Paris and reasonably priced. The reception staff was friendly and extremely helpful. There is a restaurant and bar on site and there are other options at the other within easy walking distance. The downtown area Roissy is a easy walk of about five minutes.

Michel H, Responsable relations clients at Best Western Paris CDG Airport, responded to this review
Dear Dankick, Thank you very much for your great feedback and special mention of the reception staff. Concerning the shuttle service, you effectively have the opportunity to catch the free bus or reserve a private shuttle at the cost of 20€ per way, mostly when you have a lot of luggage to carry. We hope to welcome you back very soon to the Best Western Paris CDG Airport hotel. Kindest regards,

"Good Airport hotel for overnight stay."

steve2702, Lowestoft, United Kingdom 13/03/2017

The Hotel is ideal for an overnight stay close to CDG Airport with a good Shuttle service. Staff are friendly, Rooms are clean, WI-FI signal very good in rooms (at least in my room on the 3rd floor). Small gym mainly for cardio workouts as not enough free weight & not a very good multi gym. (Sauna nice though). Evening meals quite good but buffet breakfast not great at all & made even worse with the 20 Euro price tag.

nifftyninny47, Derby, United Kingdom 06/03/2017

Nice Hotel arriving late at night we decided to have a night cap and then to bed. What a shock 1 pint of beer and a Bacardi and coke was20euros.Room very nice had all amenities many English channels on the TV.At breakfast felt like a second class citizen as all the coaches that stopped there overnight were put in a room rather like an old school dining room even told were to sit and not much of a decent breakfast anyway just scrambled eggs bread and a bit of fruit and cornflakes

"Good solution near CDG"

enrico c, L'Aquila, Italy 17/02/2017

The hotel is near to CDG airport, that you can reach with a bus leaving each 40 minutes. The bus takes 10 minutes to the terminal 2F. It is clean and comfortable as a 4 stars hotel must be. Good quality continental breakfast as well as the buffet for lunch. People are very kind. Only note is sometime the engine planes noise... but it is quite normal being near to the airport.

The hotel room was lovely, staff friendly. The food, on the other hand, shocking! The waiter forgot to give us bread and my husband's burger was raw in the middle. My Caesar salad was ok but I hoped for more in Paris. The breakfast buffet for the GoldCrest holiday party left us feeling disappointed. The selection was small, although it was nice to see some hot food on the mainly continental buffet. Tea and coffee urns were never topped up, queues of people waiting for drinks, more croissants, milk etc was a common occurrence. The hotel itself is very modern but lacks a sauna or pool. Overall, I wouldn't go there again.

"Good for staying before or after a flight."

berstein01, Jerusalem, Israel 23/11/2016

Everything about this hotel was excellent. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. Room was fine, provides everything one needs, and if something else is needed they immediately provide it. The staff were lovely and kind. And to top it all there is a fabulous breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

"No complaints for a business trip"

amy G, London, United Kingdom 22/11/2016

Stayed here for an exhibition mon- fri. Perfect location, free airport shuttle. Rooms were comfortable and clean- bathrooms a bit outdated. Staff were accommodating. Buffet breakfast was pleasant and the evening food was nice enough but we did venture out for the last few days as there wasn't much choice in the hotel. There isn't much nearby but we did find a little strip of restaurants about a 10 min walk away.

"Really nice hotel"

User 20/11/2016

Rooms are massive and clean. Reception staff are really friendly and the facilities are well maintained. Gyms really nice as is the bar and restaurant. Shuttle bus to the airport every 15 mins. Would definitely stay here again

"Stop over .."

User 14/11/2016

I booked a room with this hotel last night as I had a Early flight to catch.. When I arrived well after the check in time my room wasn't ready! Then I noticed that the restaurant was closed and I was told that the only place was the Mercure Hotel over the road, which I walked over too.. The food was substandard and the service was not the quality of a Proper four star hotel.. Then I retired to my room which was falling apart with electric fittings falling of the wall and was absolutely Freezing.. On check out there was no one to be seen as he was playing on his phone in the Breakfast room.. I will definitely not be staying here again as its a complete waste of my well earned money..

"Not Up To Standard"

Babyluvs, Vancouver 10/11/2016

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. I had booked through travelocity and the price was non-refundable. I specifically asked for a room close to the elevator because I was with my aunt who cannot walk long distances. When I checked in, the staff member said there was nothing in regard to this. She finally pulled out the paper work and realized that I was right, but did not apologize, merely said they have no room clean. Needless to say, she was extremely rude. I believe her name started with an M. The room was okay, but even though there's central heating, it gets quite cold in the night. The water pressure was okay and there is a bath tub, but there is no bath mat and no shower curtain or door! So when you take a shower, water is everywhere and makes the floor extremely slippery! Also the tub is quite high, my aunt slipped because she couldn't raise her legs high enough to get out of the tub and there was nothing to hold on to. So it's not particularly safe if you don't have great balance. The shuttle service was great. Although, it was late once. The hotel offered complimentary bottle water, but the booking was for three people and room only had one. I had to ask for extra bottles of water for which they wanted to charge me until I spoke to the manger. Wifi worked well. And they were very generous with the towels, which I appreciate. All in all, I would not stay again.

"The best"

Lorisor26, Bucharest, Romania 01/11/2016

Good location if you want to go to aeroport and Sial, free buses to Sial. The room and the bath are very big, unusually for Paris ;) Everything is clean. But it must to include some bath shampoo and shower gel because every hotel must to included it in price.

"Great hotel near to airport"

User 30/10/2016

We stopped here the night before an early flight to Germany, the hotel is clean, the bar is great and so are the staff. Great reception from the English speaking chap on reception and made the difficulty of getting out of the car park easy. Wish we had left the car here and taken the transit to the airport as had a nightmare with Quick Parking CDG. Lesson learned for future visits.

cos1014, Dp, Il 20/10/2016

A bit difficult to locate off the highway but used my I phone to find. Nice place to chill the night before flying out .roissy is a extremely nice town, nice to walk around and had a wonderful park with stops to read about history. Pleasant staff at desk and in bar and at restaurant. All good except for a problematic elevator or maybe it was my key card. Recommend

"Great stop over spot"

Tglant, Indianapolis, Indiana 15/10/2016

We actually stayed in Paris for our trip but because we had an early flight we stayed one night at the Best Western CDG, It is clean and the lobby is beautifully decorated. We had room service for dinner and they were very prompt so we could get straight to bed. Our room was very clean and spacious and I fell in love with the rain shower-head. The only thing I didn't like were the thin walls. We could hear the music being played next door and I was awoken several times by other guests conversations in the hallway. The black line shuttle from the airport is fantastic. The front desk was extremely helpful (the speak French and English) by helping me mail a package and navigate the airport.

"end of our tour"

Maggie H, Newton Abbot, United Kingdom 08/10/2016

We stayed here for the final night of our Leger tour. The room was spacious, clean and had so many sockets! The bathroom was also clean and well appointed. The air con worked well. There was also a kettle and tea and coffee, although no decay. I don't expect airport hotels to have much character and this was very much the case but it did what it said on the tin. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, where the food was very good and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was typical buffet fare. Overall a good choice for a one night stay and quick access to the motorway the next morning

"Tourist Rip-Off - Avoid"

jsjamesds271, Northampton, United Kingdom 03/10/2016

We stayed here as part of a group booking with a holiday company on the way to Lyon. I don't expect a palace but I expect some standards for my money. The reception looks good but when you hit the corridors and rooms it shows that this hotel in in need of a face lift. It's tired. There were lifts out of order which in a big hotel is a problem. We were not allowed to use the stairs. Security apparently. The water machine and ice dispenser were out of order. My main complaint are the prices charged. I know I'm a tourist but I do not like to be a used as a 'cash machine'. 9 euros for a Calsberg. I was then given a bill for 18 euros for a meal which was 4 tiny pieces of pork with a vegetable sauce. Disgusting..... Complained but I know nothing will change as they are happy fleecing the tourists.

"Best BW I've ever seen"

heathere18, Madison, Wisconsin 24/09/2016

Usually I think of BW as the sketchy building on the outskirts of Albuquerque, but this was truly a four-star place. The room was spacious, and the bathroom quite large for Europe. They had outlets for three or four different international regions, the desk staff spoke excellent English, and the food in the hotel's restaurant was well considered and beautifully plated. The BW belongs to a ring of hotels that surround Roissy-en-France, so a quick stroll can take you into an actual neighborhood if desired. The lobby has a map of the area. About the location- yes it is closer to the airport than anything that requires a train, but that 10 min ride refers to the time from the hotel to the airport. And even then one ought to consider it a French time estimate. The trip from the airport to the hotel had passed 20 min when my partner and I hopped off the loop early to walk the rest of the way to the BW. One also needs the shuttle to connect to the RER to get to Paris proper. So convenient for an overnight stay on a longer trip, but not a place from which to explore the city at large.

Ruth P, Canterbury, England, United Kingdom 20/09/2016

The coach driver obtained all our key cards but the reception staff did not appear to have any interest in us whatsoever. The room was adequate and included tea/coffee makings. However I could not get out shower to operate with water through the hose - just kept coming out the bath tap - and was cold. Gave up and wasn't there long enough to see whether anything would/could be done about it. Breakfast was a basic but adequate continental spread.

"Could have been good"

Adrienne724, Herzlia, Israel 19/09/2016

I arrived at 6 after a night flight, exhausted. The reception lady was cold and frosty until she understood I'd pay for a full night. The room was lovely, clean with a lovely bed. In the morning I asked for coffee in my room. Same snotty attitude- "no its too late for breakfast, no, no fresh orange juice, no, no croissant". I asked did they have anything else, "look up the menu, it's in your room". And that was that. When I wanted to leave the room, I rang and asked for a trolley. "it's outside your door". In fact it wasn't, and I had to drag myself and three suitcases (business trip) to the lift So, nice hotel, not nice people. It's a shame because a little bit of smiling service this hotel would be really good. Exceptions- the porters who were lovely, the cleaning lady who held the lift door open for me.

"Convenient to Airport with free shuttle."

IslandAmica, Vancouver Island, Canada 13/09/2016

We stayed here for one night before our flight. We found it to be a very typical chain hotel with comfortable rooms and good amenities. We selected this in part due to the free shuttle bus to CDG airport. The front desk staff were very helpful in mapping out how to get to Terminal 3 from the drop off point. The only let down was the restaurant. It was very expensive and the food was just ok, not particularly good. Does the job of an airport hotel very well.

"Excellent one nighter"

Richard E, Auckland Region, New Zealand 02/09/2016

Let's face it, airport hotels are one nighters-why would you want to visit Paris and spend more than a day at the airport. So as an airport hotel we found that this location ticked all the boxes. The blackline shuttle runs twice each hour and is free. The hotel offers free wifi which was very stable and reliable and a good selection of TV channels in a number of languages. The roo was a good size, clean and quiet considering how close it was to the airport, about 5-10 minutes away. There was a good bar/restaurant. Food was not haut cuisine with a somewhat limited menu but the smorgasbord which is also offered looked pretty good. Only complaint would be a very poor cheeseboard we received which for a country like France, which prides itself on cheese, failed to impress. Rather than a range of cheese the platter had three varieties of soft cheese, no cheddars, no 'blues'. But this apart it was a good stay and good value for themoney. recommended

"Convenient for tourists"

DilrukshiH, Colombo, Sri Lanka 02/09/2016

A nice hotel, convenient for tourists as it is close to the Airport, Rooms & Food were good, staff courteous. The lifts need to be mended as it was giving trouble so many times. All in all it was a good stay.

"Pretty good!"

TassiaAga, Bath, United Kingdom 02/09/2016

Good hotel, comfy bed and lovely restaurant and very helpful staff. Very good English. Only 2 slightly negative points: the location is not really at all close to the CDG airport and the fried breakfast was a bit unfulfilling. But definitely try the baguette with Brie!

"Good just for few night"

Ilya N, Orenburg, Russia 21/08/2016

I've stayed one week in this hotel for Business purposes. I can say that breakfast is below average, but rooms are good and typical for all the hotels of this chain. The best thing about the hotel is location if you need night over before next flight and staff.

458sharond, Williamsburg, 09/08/2016

People were friendly at the hotel, the Breakfast was good, and rooms were fine. Airport bus takes a little time getting to the hotel and the elevators are slow. We stayed two nights. Overall hotel is fine to stay at.

"Well Located and Comfortable Airport Hotel"

CaperJR, Cape Breton Island, Canada 07/08/2016

As it was just a one night layover, the location was great -- close to the airport with free shuttle service to the airport and nearby Aéroville Shopping Centre. Staff was somewhat friendly and accommodating. The standard room was a nice size with roomy bathroom and shower. The towels were big and luxurious, the bed very comfortable. I didn't find noise to be a factor. The buffet breakfast was 18 euros, but I didn't have the breakfast. To get to the hotel, pick up the complimentary BLACK Line bus that stops at Terminal 2 and Roissypole Station Terminal 1. These buses are the large passenger buses and are color coded according to the hotels they service - a very convenient method to get to the hotel. They run every 20 minutes most of the day until midnight, but every 40 minutes during rush hour. They are great for easy connections to the RER and TGV as well. This hotel was also minutes away (walking) from a very helpful tourist bureau staff, restaurants, ATM, post office and other amenities. The Wifi was free and very dependable. Overall, a good place to be for an overnight near the airport. I would return to this hotel.

"Near the Airport"

Tiwariraj, Mumbai (Bombay), India 28/07/2016

Stayed at the hotel in August 2015 as a part of a group tour travelling around Europe. The hotel is good, comfortable and the breakfast though continental is very good. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful. As I was on a bus tour I cannot say how well the hotel is connected to the city. Though it was a 30 minute drive into the city in our bus.

"Very good hotel"

Eddie020173, Ashford, United Kingdom 27/07/2016

I was here as part of a coach party the hotel itself is very good clean and very secure coach parking at the rear of the hotel, the area the hotel is in can be a bit dicey but still ok, Maybe there is a few shops close by but I didn't find them I did venture out one night and walked into another hotel bar for a few beers Breakfast in the morning is a bit tame but still ok for what you pay

"Nice hotel"

ell33, south wales 24/07/2016

Spent the night at this hotel when my flight was cancelled and the airline put me up here. It's a free shuttle bus ride away, or €20 in a taxi. Nice, friendly staff and a very modern hotel. Large bedroom, very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Can't comment on the food as I arrived after the kitchen closed and left before it opened.

"One night stay"

Irina N, Toronto, Canada 23/07/2016

The room was clean and comfortable. It has a nice sitting area with two armchairs. Convenient connection to the airport by a shuttle bus. We were provided by the shuttle schedule upon arrival. Good for the money.

"Paris two nights stay in Best Western CDG Airport hotel"

User 15/07/2016

had visited Paris and stayed in best western Paris CDG airport, room was good, breakfast was nice, lot of variety , spend time in break fast and no need of lunch.. Its very near to CDG aiport and free shuttle is available to the hotel. Parking is available,

John L, Toronto, Canada 11/07/2016

It took almost 1,5hr to arrive at this hotel with the shuttle from the airport. Upon arrival the front desk staff was very unorganized. A few of us staying there and well the 2 euro city tax was just a cluster or confusion for the front desk staff. Rooms are dated and the doors to the room are so thin you can hear the person next door snoring. Yea that happened. Avoid avoid avoid!

Centonove, Melbourne, Australia 10/07/2016

Got a good deal on and needed two nights here to finish our trip. This is an airport hotel so it should be judged on that. Room: very large and plenty of storage for lots of luggage. Shower was very good. No minibar but they had some mineral water and tea/coffee facilities. Bed was nice and would have loved an extra pillow. Tv had English channels and poor selection of rentable movies. The staff are a mix of excellent and poor. Some front desk people deliberately unhelpful and others were great. Just depends on who you get I suppose. The restaurant is however truly awful and I would eat elsewhere. I have not deduct points away from the hotel as I will write a separate review. Taxis and shuttles to the airport are plentiful. Would I go back? Only if the same situation occurred again.

"First, you have to find it"

JPC1628, Kingston, ON 06/07/2016

The Best Western Charles de Gulle airport is not in CDG airport at all. In fact. Given the multiplicity of roads around CDG, it is impossible to find,if you are driving, without a good, up to date GPS, and extremely careful adherence to instructions. It is in Roissy-en-France,which has a separate exit from A1, about 5km. from Roissy CDG. I cannot comment on staff or service since our stay was only from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. and we had very little contact with people (there was only one person at the desk). The room (and the hotel) are of somewhat dated design, but adequate. So if you figure that the difference in price (could be half of the price of the Sheraton for instance) makes up for the difficulty of getting there, it is OK. But for non-driving travelers, the scheduled shuttle (every half hour) works fine, there and back..

"Convenient hotel with shuttle service to CDG."

marchuk, Minnesota 30/06/2016

The hotel is you standard airport area hotel. Large comfortable and clean rooms. There is a bar and restaurant on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and take the 5 minute stroll to Roissy-En-France. It is a small town very close to the hotel that offers several restaurants with better and more reasonably priced meals than the hotels.

"Glad it was only one night"

holidayfan55, Romford Essex 24/06/2016

A typical airport hotel where we stayed for one night at the end of our Leger tour on the way back to Calais. The room was passable with a comfortable bed but we found an empty sandwich carton under it and although we had tea/coffee facilities we had no mini bar. The safe in the room was free to use but the bathroom was very small and frankly quite awful. It was an awkward shape had very poor lighting making it feel dingy and there was a large gap under the shower screen which caused the floor to flood when we took a shower. Our key card failed twice which is very inconvenient as you can't use the lift without it. The bar was extremely over priced (Even for France) with poor service due to the barman having to help out in the restaurant. The service in the restaurant was also very poor. To sum it up we were glad to leave.

"Convenient to airport, not adequate for more than a night..."

Sandra M, San Diego, California 23/06/2016

After two weeks of travel, we decided to end our trip close to the airport to avoid Paris traffic. I had never stayed at a hotel close to any airport. We booked two days, since we wanted to see Disneyland Paris and did not want to move to yet another hotel. I was surprised at the amount of security in place...from security cameras, to restricted access to lifts, to your room key saying not leave any valuables in sight- to use the room safe. I imagine it is because of the transient nature of quests, but it made me feel like there was an issue and a little unsafe. For amount of people that come in and out of this hotel, staff does a good job keeping it clean. The room was comfortable, and clean. The bathroom was awesomely large. The restaurant on site serves all meals, and is adequate. Parking is !5 euro a day, but we were given a voucher...staff was great and very helpful.

"Far from city but near to airport"

JoeHyd, Pune, India 06/06/2016

Stayed in this hotel as part of Veena world tour for 03 nights. It takes at least 1 hour from city to reach in the non-traffic hours, but airport is just 10 mins drive. Breakfast is average, rooms are spacious with nice bathrooms. They do not provide any tea/coffee facility in the room. They provide free wi-fi. We were lucky to have Eiffel tower view (though hazy) from our room.

"Great value!"

585karld, Kettering, United Kingdom 06/06/2016

Extremely comfortable twin-double-bedded room a sufficient distance from CDG Airport for noise to not be an issue. Complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch and superb quality food from the buffet in the competitively-priced restaurant downstairs. Only negative was the 15 Euro fee to use the car park overnight. Would have no hesitation in staying again midway through a journey.

"perfect 4 star hotel"

supriya s, Hyderabad, India 24/05/2016

I personally really liked the hotel a lot. The rooms were decent, not too large, not too small. There was tea, coffee and a kettle in all rooms. Wifi was good throughout. Distance from city is a LOT, cabs are available easily but. Breakfast was good. It consisted of Apple, yogurt, cereal, tea/coffee, croissants, bread, cheese, ham, fresh juice and salad. Hotel staff was not very nice to indians, maybe others will have better luck. it was quite terrible to see how they spoke to us.

"BW in CDG airport is cool"

Rene P, VIRGINIA BEACH, United States 19/05/2016

the xperience in BW at CDG Airport was great. I slept very well. I arrived late but the staff was very cool and I ate in the restaurant until 11PM. The food was excellent. So for a business trip in Paris it is perfect with the airport nearby.

"Paper thin walls!!!"

zbrasilis, Birmingham, Alabama 16/05/2016

Is you choose a hotel close to the airport, you usually need a good night sleep before taking a plane the next day. Don't choose this hotel! You can hear absolutely everything in the room next to yours: the tv, the arguments, coughing, the shower. Very bad night and really early wake up call from our neighbors.

TheWorldsTraveller, Frankfurt, Germany 14/05/2016

Hotel is clean and close to the airport, 10 mi s with the shuttle bus. but it was really loud, even with closed Windows it was still really loud. I have been to other hotels in the same area which are more new and less noisy at the same price. I will not recommend it unless the others are busy.

Karen B, VANCOUVER, Canada 12/05/2016

Free shuttle airport-hotel -difficult to find at airport -just follow orange hotel signs after luggage p/u. If short stay convenient to catch shuttle back to airport to train to paris or all other points.Or Roissy coaches to Paris center Opera (23euros return) restaurant very limited, buffet brkfst good.

"Nice place to stay near CDG Airport"

EdwinKelly2, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia 01/05/2016

Good location with more to do than just staying at the hotel waiting for your departure flight. Pleasantly surprised! The village within walking distance of the hotel. Very helpful staff. Easy to get to airport quickly.

"Hotel near CDG"

Olivier D, Sacramento, United States 25/04/2016

Great location, great service. Downside: morning shuttle can be full by the time it reaches the hotel as ti picks up from other hotels first so plan accordingly - the hotel staff helped by setting up a mini van to drop passenger. Very helpful! WiFi not always reliable - could be an issue for business travelers

"Surrprisingly great one night stay"

Karni S, Sunnyvale, California 24/04/2016

Made a reservation for a family room (two queen beds) after arriving to CDG airport after midnight. The black bus shuttle wasn't working (Taxi - 30 Euro) but we enjoyed staying the night at the hotel. Friendly stuff, specious and nicely decorated common areas, and an excellent breakfast buffet. Definitely worth the money.

Martina J, El Paso, United States 19/04/2016

There are numerous hotels at which to stay by CDG Airport, however I chose this Best Western due to convenience, value and reputation of Best Western Hotels. There is an airport shuttle that comes regularly by the hotel to meet the needs of catching my international flight back to the US. My daughter and I had a good experience at this hotel. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had a choice of getting a continental or full buffet breakfast for a fee. The staff in which we came contact, all spoke English and were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay overnight to catch a flight at CDG.

the hotel in general is ok ,but... first the room price is just the start dinner start with 23 Euro and then breakfast is 18.5Euro and parking is 15 euro more. so end up with bill of near 180 realy nice hotel... 2nd - at Diner - tried the Open Buffet - so , it not so open the staff was not nice and almost ask me to leave when fast clear the table , and when i asked to take a scond desserte - i been told "no, you finished" !!! the room was ok in general but the noise from the side and above bathroom was realy noisy every 10-15 minutes. - try to get sleep in this state... so in general - stay away if you can

"Very thankful"

Helen H, Prestwick, United Kingdom 24/03/2016

I was with a party of 7 people who recently stayed at the Best Western CDG airport. Our flight was cancelled by Easy Jet on Sunday 20th March and we stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western. Our stay was made so easy with the help of Eric and Jeffrey who were simply outstanding at sorting out our rooms and meals without any hesitation and hassle. We were very stressed due to the cancellation but they were professional throughout and put us at our ease. Our rooms were large, spotlessly clean and well stocked with toiletries, mini bar and coffee/tea facilities. Our breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel was faultless, all in all a wonderful experience at the Best Western, couldn

"Hospitable staff, clean and spacious rooms!"

User 08/03/2016

Very close to the CDG airport and well connected via free shuttles every 20 mts to T3 and T2. There are many other hotels in the roissy france area but I had read reviews of Best Western and hence chose this one and I must admit that I was most pleased with my decision. Very hospitable staff, a special mention here for Jeffery and Monika at the front desk. Not only did they have patience to answer to our volley of queries, but also gave very honest and helpful advises. BW @Roissy France CDG is a clean, well maintained hotel and sufficiently spacious rooms with free minibar. I only wish this hotel was located in the central Paris region which would have saved an hour of additional travelling time and some money! But then this very reason (of being away from city and closer to airport) gives one a sheer joy of comfortable travelling to and fro CDG airport!!

"Good airport location. Worst bed of the entire trip."

WendyCanada, Canada 07/03/2016

We booked this hotel off I have a feeling they keep their worst rooms for the clients. Our bed was absolutely the worst we had for the entire trip, hard as a rock and we need to prop our ribs with pillows. The room was fine, the bathroom was nice, with exception of a severe lack of hot water ( we did see a old notice that the hot water was being fixed.. the notice was a week old and still posted in the elevator). With so many hotels around, I would look for another. I see the other reviews stating the beds were fine, ours was not which leads me to believe we got a bum room with the discounted price. Carpet was frayed, stayed on the 0 floor, which represented the quality of the room. Breakfast was fine, but slightly overpriced for 18euro per person.

"Comfortable with good breakfast"

RobertReesink, Haelen, Limburg, Netherlands 05/03/2016

Did stay for 2 nights in this hotel during an exhibition. At arrival I changed rooms, due to an unpleasant smoking smell in the first room. The staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful and changing rooms was no problem. The restaurant is good and the quality but relatively high priced. Good and comfortable hotel, approx. 10min drive from the exhibition centre.

"Basic Hotel"

nickyf f, Liverpool, United Kingdom 23/02/2016

Very poor room decor for a Best Western. Premier Inn have better rooms and my room cost 210 Euros!! The hotel is miles from the hotel and you can get a free Black bus that takes you to all the hotels, they say it runs every 20mins but I waited over 45mins, and it took me 20mins to find the bus stop.

"Comfort, easy access, great staff"

Sonoko H, Tokyo, Japan 20/02/2016

We come to Paris at least twice a year for business and exhibitions at Parc des Expositions. Until we found OUR Best Western Paris CDG, we tried many hotels in the central Paris. Now that we know BW's spacious and comfortable room, easy and free access from & to the airport's terminals and the exhibition centres, there is no way back to Parisien hotels. Plus, the hotel staff is always welcoming and very dedicated to guests' experience.

"Im impressed with the service !"

User 12/02/2016

Me and my husband together with our 8 yo son had a late dinner and i must say im impressed with the quick service. And the hotel was clean. Its close to the airport. A recommendable hotel to those who travel a lot.

"Okay for a few nights"

lookingforgold90, Norwich, United Kingdom 03/02/2016

I stayed here for a business trip and the hotel location and shuttle services to the exhibition centre and airport were good. The restaurant was overpriced and not great quality. The room was okay but could do with some maintenance work. I forgot a plug adapter and asked at reception they were going to sell me one for 10 euros even though when I got to my room there was a socket for UK plug anyway! It was adequate for a one night stay for business purposes or if you have a lay over waiting for a flight but would not otherwise choose this hotel.

"Adequate for short stay"

Flora P, Palmerston North, New Zealand 12/01/2016

Arrived to airport by train from city, took approx 30 mins to ride. Tickets were 9.80 per person. There is a shuttle service to the hotel every 20 or so mins. Well signed area to find meeting point and is the 4th stop (approx 15mins). Check in was standard, room was on 4th Floor. Room was standard, bathrooms decor around the 70s theme, has a bidet and shower/bath tub. Flat screen television. Complimentary water bottles and a fruit cake slice (cute and odd option). Waited a while to be served at the Bar as is was unattended. There were only 2 servers we saw working the Bar and prepping the restaurant area for service at 7pm. But once he saw us his attention to customers was great. Friendly server. Restaurant didn't have many options which was a let down so just stuck to ordering a Ceasars salad and burger for main as these were the cheaper meals on the list for our appetite. Food was good standard meal and was served in a short period between courses. Good for short stay as its few mins from airport so would stay again if required.

"Airport Hotel"

shadz1976, Beirut, Lebanon 20/12/2015

the hotel is very close to CDG airport - so very good for short business trips away from the hassle of Paris city. Rooms are OK in size but very clean and the hotel has a nice restaurant and bar, so you don't need to go out for food or drinks.

"Paris Layover"

Nelrob, Montreal, Canada 03/12/2015

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our return from Spain in November of 2015. Our room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is a shuttle bus to and from the airport approximately every 20 minutes. There is also a shuttle to the Aeroville shopping mall which has good shopping and several good restaurants in their food court. Good hotel for a quick stopover in Paris...

Overnighted on our return trip by to Seattle. Hotel is well located, good restaurant. Best hamburger (and French Fries) have had in a while. Good breakfast too. Free shuttle from Airport, very convenient. Recommend.

"Excellent value"

hapsburgqueen, Gyor, Hungary 16/11/2015

The room arrangement and bathroom layout are excellent. The bathroom lighting is good for shaving and applying makeup. It also has good shelf space for toiletries and your other stuff. Internet connection was satisfactory.

"One night stay"

Yvonne M, London, United Kingdom 05/11/2015

This was a lovely hotel, the rooms were large, clean and very well decorated. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Even though you are close to the airport we were not kept awake or woken up by aeroplanes and we had our window open. We would definitely stay here again.

"Grim, Noisy & Overpriced"

LAguy90046, Los Angeles, CA 03/11/2015

Obviously, most people only go to Roissy-en-France to spend the night before a long haul flight out of CDG the next morning. So, you can't really blame the area's hotels for the mind-numbing boredom of the locale. This hotel seems to go out of its way to complement that boredom, however, with an exterior so austere it must have taken a serious amount of effort to make it look so ugly, and bland little guest rooms with tiny windows that make one think of a military barracks in Cold War-era East Germany. Rooms are dated and sparsely-furnished, with scratchy bedding and two measly pillows. Hallway noise is a major issue, as is noise from the jets flying nearby, noise from the traffic outside, noise from the rooms above, below and on each side. Internet worked about 20% of the time I was there (easily the worst of any hotel in recent memory). I paid over $200/night during off-season for this place and would have still considered it overpriced at half that amount. There are many other hotels in the area… almost any of them have got to be an improvement over this place. Avoid this one.

"Good location"

bryan t, Chichester, United Kingdom 01/11/2015

Good medium priced hotel close to CDG airport Roissy. Clean comfortable rooms with free wi-fi , good breakfast (albeit not cheap- E19) and regular free shuttle connection to the airport. A good choice for CDG airport

"Just correct"

Eduardo7676, Bilbao 30/10/2015

Typical hotel in the main airport area. With free shuttle from airport. Close to this hotel there are also more options. Rooms are big enough and wifi. I did not have time to try the breakfast. Anyway, I expected to be closer to the airport. Buses are each 20 minutes + 10 minutes on the road, makes 30 minutes. It seems there are any other options just in the airport.

"Great business hotel"

Marsh2, Fremont, California 26/10/2015

Convenient for short stays/layovers in Paris. Easy to get to from the airport which was just a short distance away. Room size is actually comparable to US hotels. Front-desk staff was professional and courteous. Restaurant and bar is a nice amenity although it could have a more extensive menu.

KatMJ, Melbourne, Australia 25/10/2015

One of many hotels located close to CDG airport, Paris, and in the pretty and charming village of Roissy- en- France. Bed is comfortable and the television is very good quality. Rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, a rarity in Europe. The only toiletries are soap dispensers although reception can supply other items on request. Shower is over the bath which may be a problem for the mobility-challenged. Staff are personable but if you were looking forward to "haute cuisine" forget it! Plenty of room for improvement there! Foyer smells strongly of cigarettes and the place is a bit tired. Although it was OK for one night, we would look elsewhere.

"Okay stay to catch a plane"

Y5494IMmichaelp, Washington DC, District of Columbia 16/10/2015

Decent room, fairly close to airport, accessible by free airport bus. Restaurant has limited menu of overpriced, poorly-cooked food. Room was well-appointed and clean. Set your alarm, as the front desk never put through our wake-up call.

"Budget hotel and good to stay"

pankajsethi2015, Punjab, India 15/10/2015

Room Was Very Good. Bed Sheets & Wash Rooms Were Clean. One of Reception Manager Approx. 45-50 Years AGE Was Very Sincere. He Guided Me About City tour too. While other young age girls on reception were too careless . I twice made phone call from room, for blanket, both times they said, We are sending, but they did not. , Breakfast was very good. I recommend this hotel. To add this hotel is away from city but free bus from and to hotel is available to market.

"Reasonable stay"

PhilB505, Nottingham, United Kingdom 09/10/2015

After reading reports on this hotel we entered with some trepidation. This was not necessary as the bedroom was fine as was the bathroom albeit a little dated. However as this is a budget hotel there are no free toiletries on offer. This is a decent sized bar as well as a restaurant. Both these areas would benefit with more staffing as we waited up to 19 minutes to be served, I assume the barman was doing other jobs elsewhere. We chose the €23 two course buffet menu and we found this excellent value for money, we had a lamb stew that frankly was excellent. Breakfast however was poor quality and a lack of choice but we were in a separate area that just looked after coach parties. However we did feel uneasy when we were told not to let bags out of sight, keep your bedroom door not only locked but to keep a safety chain and make sure you know who's at the door before opening it. All a bit disconcerting.

"An average Stay towards the End of Europe Trip"

User 04/10/2015

The hotel is located on a kind of Hotel Road of Paris. Where you would find other options as well. The hotel is very near to the Airport. The rooms were good and the best part about this Hotel was they offered Water Bottles to drink which we could not find it in any other Europe Hotel (as We Indians were facing a lot of problem to drink water from the Tap). We checked in on 25th of August and Checked out on 27th of August. The breakfast was not good (this experience was persistent during our Europe Trip as none of the Hotels had a good breakfast option). However our overall stay was satisfactory and good.

"Never again. Pay the extra $100 for the Sheraton."

Tara D, Cincinnati, Ohio 27/09/2015

Arrived late in the evening for a 12 hour layover. It took almost an hour to take the free shuttle because you have to wait for the shuttle and then it's the last stop in a series of hotels. Once I arrived, they were understaffed to check in. Bad experience with reception #1. The woman at the desk was unpleasant and had zero interest in helping people. The manager said she's had a long day because another employee didn't show up. Then another guest and I then had a horrifying experience in the elevator going to our rooms. It dropped about a meter...twice. I informed the front desk the elevator is not working properly who then assured me it's working fine, as condescending as possible. Bad experience with reception #2. There were empty beer bottles up and down the hallway on my floor. The room (my first room) smelled uncomfortably musty. Then the internet in my room didn't work. I called the front desk to ask if they had an internet cable or a room closer to the router, and they just assured me the internet is fine. Bad experience with reception #3 within 15 minutes of arriving. At this point I escalated to another man who was more empathetic, but stuck to the story that there is nothing wrong with the elevator or the internet. I would like to state at this moment that I am not crazy. He at least offered to move me to a room closer to the router. This did solve the problem of the smell and the internet, and we took a different elevator. Bandage on the issues for the night, but I would recommend the extra money to stay at the Sheraton.

"Convenient to CDG"

LivingLrg, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 24/09/2015

Room with two single beds Was fine for a one night stay. Room price was reasonable. Desk staff helpful. Food, not so much. Typical near-airport high prices and lunch buffet was not great quality. 19 minute walk from a nice village with a market and some other restaurant choices, if you find yourself with time. Hotel has a fan but charges to take you to,the airport, 20 euros for 2 people. There is a big bus Black Line that rotates among all the hotels in the vicinity for free.

"OK for a stop over if you arrive late or need to leave early"

kezza17june, uk 21/09/2015

Comfortable room with bath, fridge, tea making facilities and free WiFi. There was no milk in the fridge which I thought was odd. I checked with the front desk and they confirmed that they do not provide milk. For a few pence this would have made a difference. I ordered room service and the food was excellent. The signage for the hotel courtesy bus service was not clear in the airport. If I were staying again I would definitely stay at the Novotel which is beside the station.

"Great for a short stay."

Jorge B, Sudbury, Canada 18/09/2015

We flew to Orly but were scheduled to fly out of CDG next day and wanted to be close. Our travel agent had recommended this Hotel and she was right. This is Paris and for $135.00 Cdn for two for a good size clean room, free excellent wifi, free shuttle to the airport and a great breakfast buffet there was nothing to complain. We also used the Restaurant for dinner and was good, a little expensive but the portions were large. The Reception Desk staff was friendly and prompt. We did not know about the Shuttle from the Airport to the Hotel and took a taxi, glad we did for $12.50 euros, and if we do it again I`ll take a taxi both ways, the Shuttle should run every 20 minutes, ours was 35, no complains there but you have to carry the bags on board yourself and with people parking themselves right at the entrance it was hard, also it was only one drop off at Terminal 2 and if you happen to be at the "A" end it`s a long hard walk. I recommend this Hotel and if you plan on using it get your Travel agent to reserve from home with breakfast included, you shouldn`t go wrong.

"Handy for CDG"

caroleburrows9, Durham, United Kingdom 14/09/2015

We had an overnight here as a tour group, just bed and breakfast. We were checked in en mass so didn't really deal with the reception staff. We arrived at a quiet time but the porters were very slow and fellow passengers complained. At breakfast it was very busy with other groups and the staff were struggling to keep crockery and food topped up, but responded speedily when asked for something. In the morning another coach crew team had a major upset with the hotel parking attendant as to where they'd parked to load cases but they'd parked where the porter had delivered the cases. The coach drivers reported the attendant to the management pointing out that was no way to speak to customers. Handy for exit from the ring road but the traffic on that these days is SO bad!

"Not worth it"

P M, Salt Laket Lake, Utah, USA 12/09/2015

Airport pickup shuttle didn't come for a long time, had to take a taxi. There was cigarette smell in room, though we wanted non-smoking room. There was no shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion in room, which are basic amenities that every hotel provides, so was very disappointing. Breakfast was not complimentary. Overall, not worth the price.

"Poor quality for a non 4 stars hotel"

fil r, Province of Turin, Italy 02/09/2015

I had to ask to change room because of incredible noise by the air conditioning machine outside the building, very kindly I was offered an other better room, but the night was already gone with poor sleep. Hotel needs a renovation in most part, including lifts, clean is not optimal, no minimal courtesy goods and breakfast is industrial and poor. Positive not is the very nice staff, but not enough to balance the rest

"Very Comfortable clean hotel near the Airport"

User 26/08/2015

Very Comfortable clean hotel near the Airport. The lobby was very fancy for Best Western, The room was very comfortable. Even the mini-bar Items (Water, sparkling water, coke and OJ) were free of charge.

"pleasant experience"

gabgab-MH, San Diego, CA 21/08/2015

was heading home from a vacation in france and wanted to be close to the airport for our morning flight. picked best western based on price but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room, bed, and on site restuarant.

"Last minute stop...."

RossDelany, Melbourne, Australia 18/08/2015

Turned out rather nice, I have never been a fan of best western hotels , however the room was neat, bed large and comfortable, and the air con was wonderful, no fridge however , very noisy due to location near the airport. Also shower head was terrible and annoying. Morning breakfast was ok, large variety.

"Only if absolutely inevitable."

User 17/08/2015

Room with 2 double beds but small, hardly enough space for 2 adults. Bath room amenities include only liquid soap. Walls thin as paper, you share your neighbours conversations. Breakfast arrangement very uncomfortable and food variety limited.

"My stay at CDG Best Western"

Pierre T, Long Beach, United States 11/08/2015

Pros: Overall very clean hotel and very helpful staff. Cons: Slow and broken internet connection. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. Rooms are well well insonorized so that the noise from the airport is almost unnoticeable. My wife and I were traveling early the next morning and we loved the free airport shuttle that took us to the airport literally at our departing terminal. Other nice features: excellent room temperature control and clean bed. TV screen a little small, but we were more interested in good rest than watching tv. Overall good experience with this hotel that I would highly recommend.

"Surprised by airport hotel"

happygoatbucky, Frankenmuth, Michigan 27/07/2015

This hotel was a very nice surprise. I had tried to find a hotel near airport to stay our first night in Paris since we were getting in so late. I wanted 2 double beds as there were 4 of us traveling. Found this online and booked. The bed was VERY comfortable. Clean and helpful staff.

"A magical nights stay"

I came from a very rough country and was caught up with the dramatic difference of a modern, organized country. Paris was beautiful especially the location of this hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and comfortable food was great.

"Excellent starting or Ending Point for your France trip!"

Kathy J, Carson City, Nevada 29/06/2015

We have stayed twice at the Best Western at Roissy at the end of our trips to France. It provides a free shuttle to CDG so we can have a leisurely meal, get some rest and catch the shuttle for our morning flight home. Next time we arrive, we may stay there and catch the bullet train to Eastern France and miss the Paris commute all together. Convenient, very affordable and a great restaurant. kj

"Very clean and comfortable"

Tim H, Tuscaloosa, United States 13/06/2015

Our room was not quite ready when we arrived, so we were offered complimentary drinks in the lounge while we waited a very short time. The room was clean and included many amenities. The bed was comfortable. We did not have any issues with the WIFI. The airport shuttle service is free and easy to use. The village is very quaint and welcoming of those that do not speak French. We just needed somewhere to stay before our flight the next morning. We are so glad we booked here. Highly recommend!

MsTravelBug1970, Redondo Beach, California 26/05/2015

Despite 4 calls to the hotel, the front desk girl was not HELPFUL at all getting me to the right place to take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I ended up waiting for more than 1.5 hours. Thank goodness there was another couple and man who was with me when it started getting dark.

All items that should have been served hot, were not. Restaurant prices were expensive, quality of the food average. Dinner cocktails and wine prices ridiculously high. Don't try to read or write by the low lighting in rooms after dark. Location to Charles DeGaulle Airport excellent and shuttle bus services to/from airport run every 20 minutes.

"Good hotel"

Sonoko H, Tokyo, Japan 20/02/2015

Good hotel. But if they want to offer some additional service, I'd suggest that they do it with more perfection... We were three and got only one pair of slippers, so we asked the reception to give us 2 more. They said they will have a person in charge delivery them to our room but nobody came till the last day of our stay. The same story applies to the shoe shining machine. This is a very nice machine placed at the lobby to quicky shine one's shoes, but there was no wax inside. The reception said that it will be refilled asap, but it was empty during our stay. - Otherwise, the hotel is clean, provides free direct bus service to the convention centre, and staff is friendly. Its location is perfect for those who work near Parc des exposition by using balck buss and another one from millenium hotel in front directly to the massive shoppin centre, Aeroville. - If I were the owner, I'd consider changing the lights and interior desings...

Wilson L, paris, France 02/01/2015

This is good hotel with the typical trappings of a hotel in this class. It was comfortable, but not luxurious by any means. This hotel was supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but it seems more like a 3 star in many ways. I would rate it higher if there items like toothbrushes, combs, and other toiletries that were provided instead of the bulk shampoo dispenser in the shower. The major put off were the used coffee cups in front of my door when we first arrived at our room. I was almost afraid to go into the room, thinking that they gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. I noticed that there were a lot of trays and food items throughout the hallway that were left by other guests, or the maids. Not a good impression, and not one that I have seen at any other hotel. There were too many hints of a two star hotel, considering that this one has a four star rating.

Very clean, very friendly staff, good food in restaurant. Very convenient to airport. Beds are very comfortable & nice linens. In-room tea & coffee & cookies. Wide variety of foods on dinner menu & dinner buffet is varied & mostly good. The main dishes in buffet were a bit bland & more institution tasting, but the side dishes, salads, etc. were very good.

"A little bit better that your average airport hotel"

Paul S, Newton, New Hampshire 24/09/2014

Clean & comfortable. A few minor issues but nothing that would prevent us form recommending this hotel. One thing to watch for is the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle comes by about every 1/2 hour and is shared with other hotels in the area. IT'S PACKED and being the last hotel on the route and you may not be able to get on. We were the last ones to squeeze in and if we didn't, we 'd miss out flight even though we allowed over 2 1/2 hours and the shuttle is a 10 minute ride from BW to CDG.

Simone S, Brescia, Italy 23/09/2014

It's a good location near to the CDG airport and near to the Parc des exposition Paris Nord. Nice location, with a protected parking. The room are clean and confortable. In the bathroom there's the bidet, non easy to find in France. There's a fitnes area and a sauna. The internal restaurant it's good, but if you want there's japanise, german and a Tay restaurants at less than 500 mt.

"Average Airport Hotel"

All the hotels except for a few are about 10-15 minutes from the airport. They force you to us a public shuttle service which only leaves the airport from terminal 3. This adds a lot of time to go to and from the airport. The drivers are not friendly nor do they answer questions. The room service was quick and efficent, otherwise nothing special for the cost.

"Internet Poor and Room Service Null"

Guizopolis, San Casciano di bagni 20/08/2014

I went to the hotel to spend a night after 3 weeks travelling biking and sailing in Europe and really was eager to connect to the internet and have plenty of room service for me, my wife and kids. None of that was possible. The room internet was very poor or not even working and there was not any room service, from dinner to breakfast.

Beds comfortable. Room clean. Much too expensive. Internet frustratingly slow. We left before breakfast was served, and they could not find a bottle of water for us as we waited for the next airport shuttle, having been told the wrong shuttle departure time the night before. Why does every hotel now give you no option of anything other than too-hot comforters on the beds? What happened to regular sheets and blankets?

"Good near airport"

B H, Los Angeles, California 31/07/2014

This was a very comfortable hotel near the airport. There is a bus that makes a loop from the airport to the hotels. Price is on the higher side but good for Paris. We did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet but it looked good. We'd stay here again!

"Airport (?) hotel"

Hjordis T, Durham, NC, United States 23/07/2014

This hotel took a long time to get to from the airport. It is a nice hotel, but they wanted to charge a lot for the breakfast, in which we did not partake. One of the receptionists was very cold, the other was nice and helpful. The area is weird, just hotels, but I guess there was a town close Evidently this caters to people who have to stay overnight for a flight or tour groups

"Nice Overnight"

Harlan H, Bothell, United States 07/07/2014

Nice, clean room. Nothing special, nothing wrong. One bonus: the room was large enough to fit 4 in two double beds, which we had trouble finding in hotels across France. Don't go for the robe and slipper "upgrade". There was only one for the room and it made no difference to our stay. The shuttle bus to/from the Gare was a nice convenience, upstairs outside of airport. (I think you can get off at Terminal 1 or 2 -- 1 is smaller and perhaps less congested?) The shuttle picked up there, too. Meals in the hotel looked nice but were very expensive - even for hotel food. Despite what I read on other reviews, I didn't not find any options in walking distance expect for other hotel restaurants - but we were all too tired from our vacation to walk anywhere. I can hardly believe we opted for the "grab and go" vending machine, which had some sandwiches and salads.

"A sad Breakfast"

Gary T, Tampa, Florida, United States 26/06/2014

Nice hotel, but do not waste your money on the breakfast. The food was very poorly presented and of very poor quality. The location near the airport is good, but the shuttle to the hotel is a bit annoying. BW is the last stop on the trip. Not fun when arriving late in the evening.

"staying close to airport made travel day so easy"

wanda m, Brunild, Manitoba 19/06/2014

The airport bus takes you around to all the hotels. It makes your travel day shorter if you can hop a bus to the airport for Terminal 2. This best western offers one of the best gym facilities that I have seen.

"Great hotel right by CDG with Extremely Friendly Staff"

Jennifer S, Kansas City, United States 09/06/2014

We stayed here for one night to be closer to the airport. The staff at check-in and check-out were VERY friendly and helpful. Both went out of their way to assist us and accommodate us. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It was a great place to stay for our last night in Europe.

"convenient to CDG airport"

Susan L, Longview, WA, United States 29/05/2014

We booked this hotel because we wanted to be near the airport for an early am flight to Amsterdam, then on to the USA. The room was great, the buffet at lunch was good, the staff was friendly but we were disappointed with the shuttle service and therefore ordered a taxi to get to the airport. It would have been nice if the staff at reception had advised us as to the amount we should expect to pay. The 30 Euros charged was truly excessive. Be sure to ask before you use a taxi!

"Great Stay"

User 18/05/2014

Was only here for one night at the conclusion of my 2 week European adventure. This hotel is perfect for an early morning flight out of CDG. The staff were helpful and rooms were clean with good beds. Breakfast was a bit expensive so decided to skip. Also has a shuttle service to take you to CDG's terminals which made transportation to CDG easy and practical in the morning.

"Paris Overnight"

CorJayeScott, Saskatoon, Canada 17/05/2014

Stayed at the BW Paris , one overnight on my way back to Canada. Clean .. Friendly ... convenient... close to CDG airport. Took a cab to Eiffel Tower approx. 55 euros one way from this hotel. Free shuttle was available to the airport, drop off at train station , once at airport needed to catch a bus to get to my terminal.

"Home away from Home"

Excellant hotel will us this hotel again and again. Staff are very nice and friendly at all times. Very helpful when a problem arose. A manager went above and beyond to solve a problem caused by a rental car.
