me and my family had a weekend getaway in bodega bay/Dillon beach and instead of driving back home we decided to stay here overnight. The room itself is kinda old but its clean and we like the contemporary design of their lights in the bathroom and lampshades. we stayed in room 259, 2 queen beds and we had a nice comfortable sleep. They have a free breakfast, which we also love, almost everything that you want is there like oatmeal, cereals, fresh fruits, eggs, bagels etc...plus the wokers are nice. I will definitely recommend this place. The only negative comment I have was... they didn't give me a shampoo in our room/the bottle for shampoo was empty.

We reserved a king bedroom and that's what we got. Check-in was smooth and effortless. The rooms was quite big and included a desk, a couch, a bench and a luggage rack. The TV was large, flat screen and worked quite well. We watched some of the US Open on it. The breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, waffles, bagels, muffins and more. The ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very helpful and would toast your bread and then deliver it to your table! They and the people at the front desk went above and beyond in their service and everyone was very friendly. AND we got in late and there were 3-4 restaurants we could WALK to safely from the hotel. We went to Red Lobster but could have gone to Olive Garden as well. There were restaurants all up and down the Redwood Drive. I would stay here again.

this place has the most cheerful people. the facikities are run down. the toiket not bolted down, big ugly patch in bath tub, the xtra lock to secure your door missing. caulking cracked outside wall where a/c is. no knobs to control a/c. god bless these nice folks.

"Handy Stop-Over Old Style Motel"

Two storey old style motel where you park outside the room (dark with a single small window) and if you're on the second floor, you lug your cases up a flight of stairs (no elevator). You get a cheap and cheerful complimentary breakfast. The bed was ok but the pillows quite uncomfortable, and we got a fair amount of noise from suitcases being wheeled passed our room and residents conversing outside.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was a good start for the morning. The front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is in an excellent location with restaurants and entertainment close by. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Super fast check in. No I didn't use the express check in through my email. Gentleman showed all amenities on a map and gave time frames whithout me prompting any of it. Guests were super nice as well which I know is amazing. Check out was super fast too and very nice ladies. Clean room especially for my 2 yr old and enpugh room to play. I thought bed was super firm but i have a bad back so I'm picky. Husband liked bed. 10p was quiet outside. Manager didn't let smoking go on right outside doors. Amazing

Was told they had truck parking. Checked in then told to park in main parking lot near Carl's Jr. Everywhere i tried to park had a sign... NO TRUCK PARKING VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED....i addressed the issue AFTER paying over $140some odd dollars they didn't seem to care

Nothing luxury but has all the basics. Lots of parking, easily accessible from Highway 101, with some decent food options near by. The front staff were very helpful (I'd forgotten a toothbrush, needed some printing done, and ran out of coffee!). The bed is comfortable and a pleasant enough room to stay a night our two.

Housekeeping didnt clean room and no control of loud guests. Ive stayed here before approximately 5 times and never had issues. The breakfast was good, and ladies working in breakfast room were friendly and attentive.

Clean pleasant experience once again at the Best Western. Breakfast room clean and well attended by staff and choices were excellent. Rooms have been updated since last stay 2 years ago. Only negatives which aren't really a big deal- towels could be softer, products in wall dispenser- shampoo and conditioner -could have been better, and I would have liked a plastic recycling bin in our room or at least a sign saying water bottles are sorted out and recycled. Excellent location and fantastic value. Highly recommend staying here.

The Best Western in Rohnert Park is a straight-up motel off a freeway exit, in a city that's OK, but not Beverly Hills. But despite that and despite the way it may look at first glance, my experience was smooth and above-average. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. There were 2 women maintaining the breakfast spread and they were working hard and in a conscientious manner. Breakfast itself had everything you'd expect, including hard-boiled eggs and packaged instant oatmeal. The room was secure and had a refrigerator and microwave. The coffee they had in the reception area and at breakfast was REALLY good...hope they never change that supplier or brand. The only things I would change are the linens (towels, sheets) which were a little worn and near the end of their lifespans, and also I'd remind the housekeepers to be a little more quiet, at least before 11 a.m. The surrounding area has many places to dine and shop, including a large Safeway supermarket, a Grocery Outlet, and food from Popeye's, Chipotle and others places. You may see some questionable people around the property -- I myself caught a great gust of weed while walking in the parking lot -- but if you can get past that, you'll probably find this Best Western to be a very good value and a comfortable place to stay compared to elsewhere.

The room was extremely noisy, heard every single parking lot noise, running motors, and even coughs outside my door. Windows must be single paned, walls must be super thin. The bed was not very comfortable. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, old smoke, though it is a non smoking room. Carpet was old and seemed dirty. Extremely uncomfortable, noisy stay.

"Best Place to stay!"

I stayed there for one night during the weekend. The front desk staff was excellent. She greeted us with a smile! The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave too! The only downside is that the toilet seat is small for any large adult. And, the place is very secure due to many security cameras. It might be a little pricey if you are by yourself. But it's still worth it! Thanks Best Western for a wonderful stay!

Whenever I'm in town I always try to stay at either the Doubletree or this Best Western . The staff is always very helpful check-in is a breeze and check-out is the same. There is free internet and a wonderful free breakfast including waffles made to order. There is a nice pool and hot tub. The whole staff from the front desk to the maintenance people are extremely helpful and the remodel has gone very nicely the rooms are beautiful.

I found myself in Rohnert Park for a few nights and stayed here. The hotel is in a convenient location provided you are driving. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They also put on a pretty nice breakfast with great coffee. The staff are super friendly as well. Overall, good spot for an overnight stop.

We needed a hotel with not much advance warning and found this gem of a little hotel on the Best Western website. Very easy check in and check out. Staff were quick to solve any problems. Exercise room is small, but adequate and the breakfast had many, many choices with some pretty good coffee.

I stayed here about a week ago for two nights. The hotel itself is older with the roadside motel layout. All rooms have an outdoor corridor/balcony. The exterior of the hotel is poorly maintained. The room I was in had been redone recently and was pleasant. The hotel allows pets; however, they do not enforce the rule of not leaving the pet unattended in the rooms. Both nights I had to deal with constant barking by the down in the room next door. Management did nothing about it other than to apologize and discount my room (which I do appreciate). After getting complaints the first night it should not have happened again. Also, the management does not enforce the no smoking laws of California. Many of the guests were smoking on the balcony/corridor and there were cigarette butts everywhere. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay there again. I will be back in Rohnert Park in a week and have already chosen a different hotel.

The hotel was clean and well cared for, I felt save and the area was quiet. Around the hotel there were there were a lot options for food close by. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We only stayed one night after checking out of the original hotel which was a horrible experience.

Went on campus tour in the bay area that included SFSU, USF and Sonoma State. Although about 45 minutes from SFSU and USF, it was close to Sonoma State U which was the last stop of the 3 University tour in the Bay Area and we had an early tour for Sonoma State. The place is close to the freeway ( yet quiet ) and about a 10 minute drive to Sonoma State. The rooms were clean and quiet. Beds and pillows were perfect for my back. Breakfast was included with the reservation. They actually have great breakfast especially the coffee. Special mention to two people, Hugo from the dayshift front desk crew and Reina from the breakfast area. Friendly and attentive to our needs. Because of the treatment we experienced here on our way to Seattle for the other campus tours, we decided to stay at the same place for an overnight rest on our way back to Los Angeles. That made a total of 4 days with this hotel. Highly recommended to stay here if you plan to visit Sonoma State University. It's also not far from the wine country.

Nice, comfortable, quiet (even with freeway nearby) hotel with friendly, courteous staff. Speedy check-in and check-out. Has a mini-fridge, but coffee maker too small. Full breakfast served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Reasonably priced, especially if you are a Best Western Rewards member that allows you to get another $10 off when you register your room online by signing up with the rewards department.

"don't recommend"

I would not recommend this hotel. It is very noisy being close to the freeway, but also the clientele. Awakened in middle of night to woman screaming and cursing at someone, then had to listen to another's loud music until 10am. Felt like a dorm, not a hotel.

"Nice motel but is aging"

Nice room and comfortable beds, but you can see signs of aging on some walls and chips in bathtub porcelain. Good hot breakfast of eggs and sausage, with waffles that were cooked by the kitchen helper.

Good value. Close to amenities. A wild Tom turkey in the parking lot made for some good wildlife viewing. Walking distance to several eating establishments. Easy access to Highway 101. It was a short drive to my business location

Steer clear of this place! It is NOT the quality expected from a Best Western!! This was an extremely disappointing experience! A waste of our time and money! This stay was a “bad apple” on our otherwise enjoyable annual trek North to see our family.

Stayed on night on our way out to the coast. Have always stayed at Best Westerns in the past as you would be guaranteed a clean comfortable room. Unfortunately we have noticed that that is not always the case now. This location is a case in point. Room was tired and dark. Bedding could use a refresh. Upholstered chairs were badly stained. Funny smell. Breakfast room in the morning was so busy there was no place to sit. The location was good though as there was lots of choices for dining and shopping nearby.

Room was clean and comfortable. .. and noisy! The sofa in the room gave me the willies to sit on it was so saggy. Lots of post fire crew staying there. They were quiet but when they started their rigs in the morning, not so much. Immediate surrounding area somewhat abandoned but easy walking to restaurant. Pool was closed for renovation and no discount was given for less than complete complex. Breakfast was good and the staff were nice and friendly.

This was my first time staying in a Best Western. The booking websites said it's a 2.5 star hotel and it was priced like one, so I was expecting it to have facilities of a 2.5 star hotel, like a lobby area, indoors hallway, or even indoors pool. Turns out it doesn't have any of these. It's 100% motel, with a price tag of a hotel. And it's not good even by motel standard. Checking in was not a nice first impression. They have too many rooms for one staff and a small office to handle. The line almost extended to the outside and I felt my time was wasted, though I have to say the staff was trying hard to do their jobs. Then I have to walk, in the cold winds, to my room because parking spaces are limited with most extra parking spaces located in the side with fewest rooms. The room was plain and functional. I like their idea to use a simplified remote control for TV. Unfortunately some buttons on it were not working, including one of the tuning buttons. I also like their idea to put shampoos and shower gels in dispensers instead of bottles, but these dispensers were so difficult to use that I almost broke them trying to squeeze something out. With room doors facing parking lot there's virtually no soundproof. Since this is a rather large motel I heard cars go in and out, people shouting, talking etc all night. The in-room wifi was constantly switching between barely working and not working at all. The outdoor pools were closed for the season. For me the last straw is probably the breakfast. The dining room was way too small comparing to the amount of guests they can have. I thought I can take food back to my room but it was so crowded that even reaching food is difficult. I don't remember when is my last time to skip hotel breakfast when they provide one but I knew I have leave the place asap. I understand north bay is a rather expensive area to stay. But apart from the fountain at the entrance, nothing in this place felt like it would worth the price. I can only hope other Best Westerns are not like this one or I have to skip their chain altogether.

"Noisy Night"

We come to Sebastopol 2-3x a year for wine club events. There's not much lodging in town and it can be $$$. Decided to try this placed based off score and it being only 5 miles. Place itself was easy to find and clean/basic motel. But it's cleanliness is only reason giving it even 2 stars. We were in the back building which is right off the freeway. Beyond loud all night. Add in a ton of strange people hanging around all hours; really made me question what was going on and added to the noise issue. Lesson learn; I'll happily pay 2-3x to stay in our regular place in Sebastopol next time.

We stayed two nights in room 160, with two queen beds and pet friendly. The room was clean and had the basic amenities, along with a refrigerator and microwave. Enjoyed the shower. Beds were firm and each had four pillows.The heater worked well and was not loud. Only suggestions to management would be to tone down the air freshener and address the fan noise in the bathroom. The free breakfast was much better than most, with eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, muffins, etc. The hotel is only a few hundred feet from the VCA Animal Care Center and four restaurants, with countless other shopping and eating options within a mile or two.

Check in was good. Room was okay. Bed was hard & pillows suck. Breakfast was okay but stay away from sausage it was sitting in grease. Night staff seemed more interested in friends than what guests needed.

We stayed here for two nights and it was a nice Best Western. Staff was very friendly, good location near restaurants and easy access to Graton. We were surprised at how quiet it was given the proximity to the busy road nearby. The price was reasonable, breakfast was a bit above most Best Western motels. Very clean and accommodating.

We arrived very late a night for a short trip(one night stay) front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was so nice here. Rooms were very clean and had a mini fridge and microwave, which was helpful. Pool and hot tub were having some sort of renovations done, so a bit of construction dust, but both were still accessible. Breakfast room was immaculately clean and the staff working there were also extremely nice and helpful. Overall, very impressed!

"Decent Stay"

Solid hotel for its price, nothing luxurious but most everything is clean. The free breakfast is pretty good and the people at the desk are friendly. You will get highway noise in your room if you are in the back as I was. My only other issues were that the keycard failed the same night and forced me to walk all the way to the front desk again; and a sink that was slow to drain.

It is not worth over $100.00 except breakfast in small room with crowded people in morning, but they have several good service woman working hard. They are working to arrange all food to full up all table in tiny room, and many guests are waiting in the lobby.

Needed to make a last minute stop. Service staff last night (10pmish) were great. Room was clean. Walls are thin but definitely not a big deal. We were there for the night. I didn't have breakfast so I can't share my opinion.

This location was convenient, the rooms were nice, clean and well maintained overall. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. The seal around the door definitely needed to be replaced though because the noise from the parking lot was pretty loud. The nearby expressway was not as bad as the other customers that were rude, honking in the parking lot or coming in drunk at 4am, but that isn't the fault of management. The good door seal would help reduce these noises. . Breakfast area was clean, eggs were not great. They were cold and made into some sort of patty. The sausage wasn't bad. Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit and more so a decent mix of breakfast food. In room coffee was good, with real mugs and not cardboard cups. Microwave and Frig was also there and clean. I also used the laundry. At the time of this visit, washers were $1.75 per load and $1.00 for 44 minutes on the dryer, plenty of time to dry even the jeans.

I've stayed at this BW 3 times, and will be a repeat customer whenever I visit the area, which I expect will be frequently given the recreational opportunities. Breakfast is better than average, even for BWs, room is spotlessly clean, staff are very good-natured and are willing to go extra mile whenever they can.

We will never stay at this Best Western again when we come to Rohnert Park ... There are plenty of other hotels to choose from. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were hard as a rock. I woke up with a stiff neck. The breakfast was horrible as well along with the staff in the breakfast area.

Best option available. Feels like home. Best Western was a few bucks more, however it was absolutely worth it to feel this sense of comfort. I will absolutely positively stay with you again and make Best Western my first choice in hotels. Thank you so much for the experience.

This place has gone down hill in the last three years. Don't bother staying. Rooms are dirty, noisy and smell like cigarette smoke. The staff was unhelpful and unresponsive. I actually did not feel safe staying at this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights we were going to see the wine country. It cost $356 for two nights. It's located right beside a very busy freeway. We knew this. Nowhere on their website did it state there was construction work happening and this was certainly not reflected in the exorbitant room cost, in light of the star rating of the rooms.This was no fancy hotel, it's a very basic motel chain situated in the middle of nowhere. There is also a large casino nearby which means guests are very likely to have an evening out that may end up with them going to bed very late. To be woken at 0800 by digging, banging, pounding, machinery AND the housemaids trolley trundling up and down constantly sounding like a Mach Truck without any thought or consideration that perhaps guests are having a sleep in on a Saturday morning,is unacceptable especially at this price. A complaint to the desk staff (seemingly) manager elicited an apology!!!! This hotel is being run to service the needs of the staff not the needs of the paying guests. Overrated and far too overpriced. Buyer beware.

This is a great hotel. The staff were all really nice and very helpful. The location is great close to everything. There were plenty of staff working to help everyone in a timely manner. The rooms were clean. We weren't really impressed with the breakfast offering and went to IHOP but otherwise very satisfied.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. All expectations were met for any thing needed. From housekeeping, lobby staff, and kitchen staff - everyone was wonderful. They treated me like family. The beds are VERY cozy and comfy.

Have stayed quite a few times and have never regretted it. Good place for the price. Not far from the casino if that is your desire. Also many restaurants close by. Centrally located to many bay area attractions if vacationing.

I would have checked out if there were other accommodations in the area. All of the other hotels in the area were booked due to the wild fires that affected the area in October. I understand why this was the only hotel that had rooms. Very poor hotel.

Greeting by staff was very unfriendly and room was not available at 3 even thought the receptionist stated I was "refusing" check in on time because there were 2 rooms available (they were just buildings apart which doesn't work for a family with children). Very difficult to get a late check out even though check in was late on their part. Hotel is set up like a motel with cars parked right outside your room and there is no reception area to sit in. Very noisy with cars and people hanging out outside rooms. Cost was ridiculous at $199/night per hotel value. Would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. Housekeepers were only positive.

We spent one night at this Best Western. We try to use BW because we are rewards members and also we find the quality consistently good. In many ways this location was a great value. The price was reasonable, the staff friendly and the breakfast adequate. The rooms had excellent beds, very comfortable and had a microwave which we felt was a thoughtful amenity. The rooms were very clean and the location is very convenient. That said there were a few issues we felt could be corrected. One, it is an older property and some exterior areas were dirty or dated. The room was well furnished but had no alarm clock. The bathrooms had no night light so if you found a need to turn on the bathroom light the bedroom lit up and a fan went on. These were small things but inconvenient. The room was quite comfortable though so overall we were pleased with the value. The breakfast was basic but good and the lady overseeing that area obviously enjoyed her job and was eager to help in every way.

The staff was unbelievably noisy at 6am. The bathroom door did not close all the way. The fan in the bathroom sounded like an airplane was landing. There was no shampoo. When we told the checkout clerk we had a disappointing stay she didn't even ask why. After we told her she merely said "Sorry". For $159.00 a night I feel I should at least get a bathroom door that closes.

This Best Western is outstanding! I stayed at it for 3 nights while attending the wedding of a grandson in nearby Sonoma. The entire staff was wonderful, and the comp breakfast offered the best selection of food and beverages I have ever seen (I have already spent over 35 nights in motels in 2017). My room was excellent with a king bed, couch, desk, microwave, etc., a great shower, and a huge selection of TV channels.

Decent hotel, reasonable price for the area. Breakfast had good selections, but it was quite crowded. Our Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was terrific, especially the wonderful lady at breakfast. Pool and hot tub were a real plus!

Worst experience I've had at a hotel in a while - rooms felt dated, cheap and poorly maintained, and the staff was rude (especially about checking in early - "early" meaning 2:40pm, when check-in was at 3pm and rooms were ready). It was very overpriced for what you receive, even with this being in a pricey area. The only positive note was the person who checked us in at around midnight - at the front desk, he was very quick, nice and helpful. Please, for your sake, don't stay here until significant improvements are made. Pay more for another local option.

At $160.00 + a night I would expect more then what i got. The area felt very unprotected and was open to "sketchy" characters roaming the parking lot. I made sure i didn't leave anything in the car. If i had children i would have been worried. The pool was dirty and not inviting. As for the room. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. The decor was sad and the room dark. It appeared to be clean but at the end of my stay i wondered if they actually used disinfectant. The microwave and the coffee maker barely heated up anything. The Internet is unsecured so easily hacked. I went to a friends hotel lobby to use their internet. The staff was not very friendly or professional. When you stay at a hotel you want to feel like the staff will take care of you and you can trust them. I did not feel that way here at all. My overall opinion is this is a $85.00 a night Motel, not a $185.00 dollar a night Hotel.

Didn't expect much from a best western. The pool was not cleaned and was a little on the gross side. The grounds were nice and the room was clean. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Shower pressure was low. Staff was very friendly. There were a lot of construction crews there. A little in the rough side. Can't say it's a great place for a family vacay but a good stopping by spot on the way somewhere.

Hotel was clean and we had an enjoyable stay! Near the freeway and close to a lot of things! Staff was friendly and breakfast was average. But it was nice to have a free breakfast! I would come here again and would recommend to others staying on a budget when traveling to Sonoma County.

This is a busy location close to a casino in a college town. The furniture is somewhat beaten up, but was a clean room and everything worked. Location is convenient next to the freeway; but stay away from the rooms on that side of the property as it can be loud. Loud guests outside our room both nights we were there - multiple car alarms and people smoking, loud talking and laughing (I'm guessing because smoking isn't allowed inside). Continental breakfast included. Busy and crowded breakfast room meant that it was hard to get a table to eat. Had to take food back to our room. Standard coffee, toast, bagels, etc.

Room was clean, including TV remote (new style without dirt-trapping buttons), AC worked well, furniture was in good condition, slightly worn on corners. Breakfast buffet has been made better since our last stay by the addition of egg and sausage patties. The waffle maker has been updated too, a nice touch of BW branding. Parking lot was recently re-topped and painted, some rooms on the first floor were apparently being renovated during our stay, which is a good sign that the owners are investing in the property. New brewery opened up about a mile away, Grav South, still have the taco shop nearby, and the restaurant immediately next door is being renovated.

The location of this hotel is close to Gratin Casino and about 30 min. drive to bodega bay. The room was nice and bed was very comfortable. The walls were a little thin though. Could hear the people next to us slamming their drawers at 2:00 am in the morning. We were unable to enjoy the free breakfast because the breakfast room was so small that there was no place to sit. That was very upsetting.

I stayed at this hotel last week, for one night. It is average at best, mostly unimpressive. My biggest complaint, however, is staff unreliability. I mentioned in my reservation that I needed a crib in the room for my baby daughter, and I called a week before to double-check that it would be there. It was not there when I checked-in, the hotel staff said they had no record of me asking for a crib, and didn't have one for me (they only had one that was being used). I won't go back.

The room was clean. The internet was not secure, there were other issues addressed with the staff, not offers or discounts were extended due to complaints. There was also construction work that started by 730 am! BW rewards status was recognized and a bag of water, chips and peanuts was extended.General impression was just average.

This is a very nice facility. For example, it has nice landscaping and looks well kept up. There is also a large outdoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I thought it was a bit pricy, but all the hotels seem to raise prices in the summer.

The quality in general has deteriorated over the past year. It was top notch, but now is less. Service is less, breakfast is less. Still a convenient and value property. The location provides good access to Sonoma wine country, a nice casino, and not too far from Pacific coast.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little hotel. Nice and friendly check in and they remembered by request for a King bed. Room is very clean and the AC worked very well. Bathroom was nicely appointed and water pressure was awesome. Fridge and microwave are a nice touch. Parking is right outside the door. We did not hear very much noise other than a few people going up the stairs. Free breakfast looked better than it tasted, but it was still nice to get fresh coffee and a bagel. The room attendant had to work really hard to keep up with the crowd. Please take a dollar or two with you to breakfast for a tip. There are picnic tables outside the door and they are nicer than trying to cram your whole family around the small tables inside. Well priced for the area and easy on/off if you are heading to Napa or the Redwoods.

Stayed a night passing through. Although I am always worried about outside doors, area is safe and clean. Easy parking. Check in was easy and no problems. Room was very clean and bed slept outstanding. I would highly recommend this place.

This is probably the best motel in Rohnert Park. The bed was comfortable, the room had a microwave oven and refrigerator, and good flat screen television. However, the coffee pot was not cleaned, and the bath towels were spotted and needed bleaching. The breakfast staff was very pleasant, efficient, and helpful; and there were many food choices.

Old facility, poor internet connection if you need to conduct business. People nice, and breakfast not bad but could offer greater variety. If you do stay for business ask to have a room close to front office in hopes to have a stronger internet connection. Had to us my own data and hot spot.

This hotel was right by 101 and 6 miles from Santa Rosa. We had a spacious 2 queen bed room which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and okay. Front desk was pleasant. There is an outdoor pool, but we didn't check it out.

The room stunk from smoke. The odor was in the furniture, the drapes and the carpet. Housekeeping was shoddy, dirty glasses when we checked in and not enough towels. The wall socket where the TV was plugged in did not work. However, the desk help was very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was good.

We were in town for a wedding and loved that the hotel had a pool and offered breakfast. The location was very convenient to shopping (Costco, Target, Walmart, etc.) and highways. The kids loved the pool!

Room not ready when we arrived. Asked to return in an hour. An hour and a half later was asked to return in another hour. After complaining they came up with a room. It had a stench in sink area, stain in tub. Only had ground level room, people upstairs keep us awake most of night. To top off our stay was given a breakfast that made us sick.

My gosh, $214.00 for this run down motel- totally absurd. Never again would I stay there. The room was dirty, the breakfast was a joke with military MRE's being better food. As well, there was not enough room to seat 20 people in the eating area. We had to stand and eat.

Clean, convenient, quiet accommodations. Comfortable bed. Very polite staff. Continental breakfast was average, though they did provide non-dairy milk substitutes. Wish the Lipton Tea were not the only tea choice.

We had a wonderful stay. We were in the area to visit Safari West. The location was ideal. The outside appearance of the hotel was clean and tidy. The pool area was well maintained and everything was in place.The room was well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was very nice. The waffles were a hit with the granddaughters. Would definitely stay here again.

The price point for hotels/motels has gone gone stupid through what is obviously price-fixing on some level. Although the outside appearance of this property is typical two story motel, they have done a very nice job with the interior rooms. Spotless carpet and paint. Nicely painted exterior as well so that you feel good when you come "home". Nice size pool with hot tub. Ordinary breakfast. No morning newspaper. Nice staff. Overall a very good value for under $100 with CLC. Beyond that point, I think you're pushing value for the price point without Plus style amenities. But if you're a BW fan, its definitely better than the Petaluma location that is dysfunctional or the silly price point for the Santa Rosa south location.

Excellent rooms; clean. This place will be great when they finish the grounds and pool area. Construction was being done in the spa area but the spa was open and very nice. The continental breakfast was excellent; a nice selection of breakfast items as well as waffles prepared for you.

We have an event at Sebastopol. Booked the hotel last minute. Reservation desk very courteous. Room we got with 2 beds are clean. Breakfast, is a great add to the trip. Enjoyed the whole packaged we got.

Very nice hotel to stay at when traveling. The staff treats you like family. I was happy to see guest with there pets. I didn't have my dog on this trip but I noticed a very well kept dog area for pets The pool and spa is well kept up and tested daily. My check in was very fast and check out very fast also. The hotel looked clean and neat as I pulled up. And the rooms are very clean and lots of good coffee in the room.

We traveled to Rohnert Park for a 70th wedding anniversary of some dear friends of ours and we always try to stay at the Best Western. Everything is always pleasant and the experience always consistently please and uneventful...just the way we like it. Room rates took a major hike this year, and that was an unexpected and unpleasant surprise, but I guess that's the way it is but still difficult on a retired person's budget.

I stayed here with my son for his Sonoma State orientation. I location is very close to Rohnert Park expressway which takes you right to the school. Kind employees, safe environment. Nice beds. Quiet complex at night. I will stay here again.

Originally we had reservations at The Sandman; however, they contacted us and said their pool deck was being refinished and the pool would be closed; so we had to make a quick choice and this was it! The hotel has a very welcoming entrance with the large carved bear and small water feature. The people at the front desk were genuinely friendly and extremely helpful with printing out instructions for us. Upon entering our room, which appeared very clean, the kids were choosing which bed they were going to be in when they screamed as there was a good sized spider on one of the pillows. I grabbed a glass from on top of the refrigerator in the room, which by the way is a nice size and also a great microwave :) and put the spider in the glass with the paper on top. I took it to the front desk as I wanted to show them so they could ascertain if it was a poisonous spider or if they were concerned and had a recent spider invasion! They announced it was not poisonous and they were not concerned, so I set the spider free into the planter! The beds are very good sized and the pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning worked fine and as there were three kids in the group the importance of trash cans are appreciated when they are placed throughout the room; which these were. The pool we found was not very clean around the 7pm time (loose hair floating, water not very clear); however, the next morning we went in right after the pool cleaner had finished and the water was sparkling and appeared very clean. The hot tub is brilliantly located within a small building protected from the sun and with a perfect view to the pool to watch the kids! When I made coffee in the room, they give you decaf and regular to brew but no teas, one of the cups we went to use was dirty inside with two coffee rings and on the rim; it was exchanged immediately with the explanation that sometimes the dishwasher does not get some things clean. As we had driven for a long distance we had requested a room in the front to avoid the traffic/freeway noise and they accommodated us with that request. Ask for a second floor room should you want to avoid the automobile locking device beeping each time someone parks in the spots right outside the rooms. The breakfast is diversified with waffles, round processed 'eggs', sausage, toast and one suggestion; put the toaster next to the bread or the bread next to the toaster as at present they are on opposite sides of the room, syrup choices, apple and orange juice and cereals; so the breakfast is quite nice. We have AAA so we did receive a discount; however, I have stayed in the area before and believe had I taken more time I could have found another comparable hotel in the area at a better rate.

Perfect location when you need to visit your child at Sonoma State University. Rate was good for orientation weekdays, but way to expensive for move in weekend. I paid $148 including tax each night on a Sunday and Monday, but they want $288 before tax on Friday and Saturday, for a Best Western, I don't think so.

After driving for over 10 hrs we were tired, room was clean, bed was comfortable. But the room had an slight Oder. Our room was in the back of the hotel and it backs up to the 101. So it was loud with traffic and we heard people talking outside till 1 am. And someone tried to get into our room 3 times. I felt because of using our free night through Hotels.com that we got this location. We would not stay again.

we have stayed here many time while my son attended Sonoma State University and it was the best three star hotel for 100$. Now that my daughter is going to school here we decided to stay again. The place seems to have gone down hill. the buildings need remodeling, their needs to be better amenities in the rooms, and the pool area was dirty. Walking in to check in I smelled cigarrette smoke in the lobby. Although the rooms were clean they still look like 1978. This is not a three star any more and I will spend up to 150$ to find a better hotel.

For the price this hotel is very outdated. The carpet and walls were sticky, I wouldn't go barefoot even to walk from the bed to the bathroom. The web site made it look very nice but it isn't! Just two blocks north there is a row of newer motels for about the same price and closer to shopping and intertainment.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. Stayed just one night while enjoying ourselves at Graton. Quick check in and check out. Staff were efficient and polite. Wifi worked well. Close to inexpensive restaurants and only a few minutes from Graton.

I would not recommend this hotel for persons over 60, as we need to depend on the ability to find room numbers visible at night, and feel safe when we need proper lighting. It was not easy to locate the room, and it was dark walking into the room until we could find the lamp on the table. Not a very good first impression.

We stayed 3 nights at this facility and I have NEVER experienced such poor service. On the first day we returned to the room after being gone all day the beds were not made, the room was not cleaned and the office staff said that the cleaning staff was "unable to read English" and could therefore not tell if the door sign said Do Not Disturb or Please Make Up Room. They assured us that things would be taken care of the next day. When we gave them a chance and returned the 2nd day things again were not touched.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The lady taking care of breakfast was very friendly, kept things well-stocked and even offered to make me a waffle. I forgot my jacket in the closet in the room and called the office the next day. They had found my jacket and mailed it back to me right away. Very good service!

This hotel was loud. We heard freeway noise all night, loud air conditioner and loud people walking around outside. Price went up by $70 (with no warning even though we had a reservation) since we had last stayed there 3 months earlier. It was not worth the price at all. Didn't sleep well at all

Not a bad experience, but breakfast was impossible -- too many persons for the space, impossible to get food, no table, and a bit limited compared to other continental breakfasts. Parking space was not available, and we had a handicap person with us. Perhaps not the fault of the hotel. Would I stay there again? Probably.

I've stayed on this property many times over the past couple of years and have some issues with the property. The walkways are dirty and could use a serious power washing. The rooms could be nicer-the are old and in some of the rooms it really shows, they are out dated and need to upgraded. I had to call dispatch to break up a two room party at 12:30 am, front desk was not helpful.

Very nice room, quiet area, friendly staff, pricey but overall nice, clean, peaceful. Nice t.v. Small fridge coffee maker, blow dryer all the stuff from home. Was unable to get a smoking room, got 1 of 2 rooms available that night but did not have a reservation, so it worked out ok.

We stayed one night on the weekend. Looked at several hotels, as the weekend usually has higher rates. This was a good value. Front desk staff were very friendly, even though they were busy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was facing the freeway, but after getting into the room, we forgot about any freeway noise. The Wi-Fi worked great. We streamed the Giants game on our ipad and didn't have any problems. We didn't partake in the breakfast but our kids did and it was good enough, usual stuff and they had no complaints. There are several restaurants and stores in the area which was convenient. Nice place, nice staff, and good value. We will stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel before and both times we have been very satisfied with the overall service. MaryAnn at the front desk was nice and got us checked in quickly and checked out in the morning in a short amount of time. Delora and MaryBell were helping with breakfast in the morning. They made waffles and brought them right to the table. They were on top of keeping items stocked and it was pretty busy that morning. They were both very friendly and made sure that you knew where everything was. Breakfast Items were the norm, pastries, toast, bagels, english muffins, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and sausage, juice, coffee. The room was clean and I thought the bed was comfy, my husband thought it was a little hard. We would definitely stay here again!

The Best Western in Rohnert Park, is an excellent choice. You are freeway close, and within several minutes of Sonoma State University. The hotel is close to good family style restaurants and sandwich shops. The facility is kept clean and orderly inside and out. The staff is friendly and attentive.There is a very nice pool, also!

"Nice Hotel"

We stay frequently at BW as they are always reliable in its quality and amenities. This hotel did not disappoint, ungraded bedding, furniture, flatscreen TV, frig & micro and coffee maker. I reserved directly by phone only 2 hours before our arrival and check in was fast - with an upgraded bed and welcome pack due to our Rewards status. Hotel was busy with many guests in the walkways which had us concerned about noisy neighbors after dark, but the room was completely quiet all night. Only in the a.m. was there some vehicle noise, with people checking out and traffic getting busy nearby. Many restaurant choices nearby, we walked to Lobster House for dinner. Included breakfast had the usual help-yourself items like waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. Also sausage patties, along with odd round flat "egg" patties (premade scrambled eggs?) that were watery and bland. The only negative comment (besides bland eggs) was the bathroom fan was very noisy and always came on when the light was switched on, which would disturb others in the room if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall it was a good hotel and we would stay there again if passing through the area on 101.

Overpriced, outdated, dirty, and unaccommodating & rude staff. Not adaquately stocked for 4 guests. Hodge podge furniture from the late 80's that reeked of smoke in a non smoking room. No elevators - Only very steep and uneven outside staircases. Parking lot dark and not well lit. Questionable for personal safety in a old & unkept area. Gang signage in area. Bypass this property and stay elsewhere.

Grounds dirty. Food not fresh. Coffee terrible. Rooms were clean. Reading material information for the area very outdated. Outside noise from freeway was very loud, as if there were no walls at all. Nice staff. Would not recommend. Over past five years, it was a great place to stay. Not any more.

We made our reservation a month in advance as our daughter was going to visit Sonoma St. for next year. We were placed in room 147 which was on the backside of the hotel and amongst the loud "long term" residents. The room was dingy, reeked of stale smoke and just outside was littered,I mean LITTERED with old cigarette butts. My daughter began breaking out 10 mins after we unloaded the car and my husband and I was having serious reservations about our situation. We checked out 20 mins later,took our kid to urgent care for her face(turned out to be just an allergic reaction from something in the room apparently) then found a different place for a little more but way classier and peaceful. If you don't mind noise,trash and stale smoke this is the place for you! If not,stay away.

This is a very nice Best Western. Very clean. VERY comfortable bed. Microwave and refrig. nice to have. Breakfast room nice size and clean. Good selection for free breakfast. Waffle cooked perfectly by attendant. Only complaint was coffee very strong.

The staff is top notch, the hot tub and pool area are awesome, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is also convenient. The new owners are tight with the food in the breakfast area, limiting amounts provided and items available though. :(

Spent the night in the hotel for a soccer tournament while the people underneath continue to smoke marijuana for the 6 hours could not get the hotel staff to get them to stop. I was very disappointed and came home with clothes smelling like weed

Nice place to stay after a nice visit to Calistoga and St Halina. Nice quiet place with comfortable bed and close to the freeway. Nice restaurants in the area and a casino near by. Good base for visits to Santa Rosa and Bodega Bay for a reasonable price.

Room was clean and close to restaurants, wine tasting and Graton Casino. Property is older but nice. All room entry is from the outside. Parking lot was right outside our room door, which was loud at times. Rates were higher than usual for off season. Will look at other options next time we visit area. Overall, 3-star. May stay here again. Depends on rates.

I called on a Saturday afternoon after driving 6 hours from Sacramento and they had a room available. Check in was easy, within budget, room was spacious, bed was heavenly, breakfast was good. The room had a large refrigerator, microwave, in room coffee maker. I've stayed at other hotel chains that are pricier and boasted of its in room amenities and they fall short compared to BW.

so i was doing a last minute booking which was very difficult in the napa area due to couples going there and the gratin resort casino being near by. i finally got a hold of someone with an open room. best western. they told me yes we have a one bed room i said perfect what does the room include the boy told me a large king bed and couch. i said perfect and placed the room on hold. and continued the night away with my soon to be wife having drinks and gambling away. by night time i show up to the hotel and the boy tells me i did tell you it was a smokers room right? i said what?! no you didn't! i asked will the smell be noticeable he said yes so i told him let me tell my fiancé and see her opinion. she wasn't worried since it was pretty late. on her face i could easily see she wasn't too happy about the idea since it was our little get away. so i calmly went back into the hotel and told the boy I'm sorry I'm going to have to cancel our stay i was not notified about this over the phone. its been two weeks since our little get away i was still charged for the night and i am still waiting for my refund i guess you can say this was the only bad part of our getaway.

This is one of the more reasonably priced motels within a 20 minute drive to Marin County, as well as a good starting point for any trip to the Northern part of California. It is relatively quiet and comfortable. Lacks an elevator to 2nd floor, and anyone rolling a suitcase or janitorial cart is going to wake you up because of the upper walkway design. Usual motel type odor, but otherwise very clean.

The format is more of a motel which can be quite noisy with guests going to and from their car and it located off a busy street. You can depend on this hotel for cleanliness and amenities you expect from a Best Western. Probably good for business more than leisure. Very pet friendly and flexible. Room 165 is a corner room so it's convenient for a pet and less noisy with surrounding guests in their room.

Was not impressed with the quality of this hotel for the price I paid for it. The walkway felt like it was leaning. There was no elevator to the second floor. When you have knee problems, it makes it difficult to go up and down the stairs.

This Best Western in Rohnert Park, CA, has increased their prices considerably over what I paid three years ago when I stayed there. I looks to have been remodeled and freshened up. The staff was nice and helpful. For the higher price they could have offered a better Breakfast such as including Bacon or Sausage. Also Fruit other than Bananas and Apples would have been nice.

This is a pretty middle of the road motel, adjacent to a busy and noisy road. But the noise is tolerable. Decent beds. Nice staff. Ok wifi. Nice pool. Average breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby. Rate was fair for a dated location and freeway proximity.

We stayed one night as we wanted somewhere near to Napa Valley (this was full of traffic & tourists on a Sunday) as hotels there were far too expensive. Friendly and efficient check in. The room was more motel style than hotel but that shouldn't put you off. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the usual amenities. The complimentary breakfast was a normal BW selection which we like and there was plenty of it. For those that want one, there is a pool and jacuzzi on-site. A pleasant stay.

We were so happy to have a bed to sleep in on our 16 hour commute. The room had a current design and was in good repair well maintained. The red head guy who checked us in must have been worried about breaking his face since he did not smile once... Very uncomfortable and unpleasant for us. I just can't stand it when people in the service industry are clearly in the wrong line of work and need to just stop. Stop making yourself and others miserable! However, the next day Adon at the front desk was really pleasant and helpful. And in the right line of work for his temperament & personality. The woman working in the breakfast room was wonderful. She was pleasant, happy, and desired to serve people-super sweet. Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower, good breakfast, pool and jacuzzi, everything was just fine.

We arrived to perform with limited time to get ready for our show, check in was entirely way too long, because of mistakes with other customers we were delayed and one of our rooms wasn't even checked in properly it took another 30 minutes to finally get out third room. Front desk doesn't resolve anything and management doesn't care. Way too expensive for motel type service and motel rooms. Very dissapointed

"Clean Affordable Rooms with Excellent Staff"

My friend and I flew down from Canada for a wine harvest party in Napa Valley. We choose to stay here as it was much more affordable than many other lodgings in the area. Rooms were clean and quiet even though we were next to the interstate. Lots of selections for breakfast; not just your usual pastries and coffee, which were included in our stay. The heated pool was outdoors and the jacuzzi was covered in a small room adjacent to it, with a bathroom as well. Felt very safe there as you needed a key to access the pool area, so no strangers could just walk in. Walking distance to Marshalls and Burlington Coat Factory! Front desk allowed us to keep our luggage behind the desk at checkout as our flight home wasn't for several hours later. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Uber was much cheaper to Napa, than a taxi.

My daughter and I had a room with 2 queen beds on the bottom floor. It was located on the back side of the 2nd bldg. It was very quiet. The room was clean and spacious but it was pricey. My daughter had to be at Sonoma State at 8 in the morning. This was the next price step up from the Motel 6. I heard the front desk clerk tell another customer that b/c they're close to the wine country, they don't do deals for weekend rooms. The breakfast was the same one I see at many hotels now: make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereals, mini muffins, & coffee. I thought the coffee was good.

This motel is close to the US 101 - if travelling south, leave at exit 483, turn right at the top of the ramp and then left at the first lights (about 200 yards), the hotel is a couple of hundred yards on the left. It is a slightly old-fashioned motel with external entrances to the rooms. My room was adequate - clean and with a comfortable bed, a fridge, microwave and reasonable wifi. Breakfast was basic BW fare. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I needed a bed an hour or so north of San Francisco.

A basic, old hotel with new furnishing, located near Olive Garden and Red Lobster restaurants. Our king room, with continental breakfast, was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was pleasant but not as welcoming as we have come to expect, and were not as well informed about nearby restaurants. The nearest one turned out to be closed (out of business?), then we spotted the Olive Garden and Red Lobster within a short walk. Smoking should not be allowed within 20 feet of the outside hallways, in conformity with state laws prohibiting smoking within 20 feet of a building's entrance; otherwise, air-conditioning units will suck in the smoke.

Clean adequate facility. Close by to restaurants and stores. Adjacent to the 101 Freeway. Easy traveling south to San Francisco & Napa. Easy travel North to Santa Rosa and Sonoma. Front desk staff professional and friendly. When I arrived I discovered the bathroom sink was clogged, I called the front desk and they immediately sent a plumber to fix the problem. I would stay here another time, nothing fancy but clean. Cleanliness sold me.

Room was clean and comfortable. The in-room refrigerator was larger than expected and there was also a small microwave and the air conditioner worked extremely well. Nice and chilly when I needed it :) I felt safe and the room was quiet. Shower had a nice strong flow of water with plenty of hot water. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The exterior of the hotel was a little run down and needed some repair and free breakfast left a little to be desired ~ packaged cereals, coffee, bagels. No fruit available.

Room was nice, pool was clean, grounds are beautiful. Breakfast room gets crowded, but well worth the price considering the great location close to 101 and Santa Rosa. Satellite TV and nice looking family crowd makes this a winner..

My son played golf on near Foxtail Golf Club. My family stayed one night. The staff was courteous. our room is away from free way, room is clean, plenty of parking. free breakfast. good for value. Outdoor areas are good, Pool. Hot tub. Steps & trails up to adjoining vineyard with gorgeous views.

The rooms here are super outdated, almost comically so. Our room was pretty clean, but the bathroom wasn't great. There was a lot of yelling and fighting outside our room the night we stayed, seemed to be some sketchy hotel guests. Stray cats in the parking lot, which was just sad to see. I would not ever return.

We needed an Inn that was dog friendly for our Golden Retriever. This was it. We stayed 2 nights in a very clean room. All the necessities were there, towels, coffee, a refrigerator and a TV. Also they had complementary breakfast-Waffles that you make, yogurts , muffins, bagels, coffee etc, The Inn is very close to shops, restaurants and to Santa Rosa which has beautiful parks to hike, walk, etc. The staff was very accommodating to our "towel" needs and they were pleasant. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

This is one of our main stay hotels, good rates, allows dogs, always clean, has an easy check in and out. Good quick breakfast and courteous staff. A few repairs in the room was needed. Thanks for the stay.

We use this motel on our medical trips to the Bay Area. It is easy to get to and the Olive Garden Restaurant is close by which has good food. The trips vary according to the check schedule for the ankle procedure.

We did not know this was a pet hotel before booking. Dog in room below us barked all night. Manager said to let them know next time and they have some rooms that don't allow pets. Room smelled also. Manager discounted the room but we will look for other accommodations next trip.

Room basically fine. Pillows too big and very uncomfortable. Lighting in bathroom only turns on with a fan so cannot use it at night if need a night light on. Breakfast buffet is good with decent choices. Nice outdoor swimming pool and indoor Jacuzzi. Staff very nice and helpful.

I stayed here for one night. It was a good value place for visiting Sonoma wine country, especially on the weekend. The room was pretty large and nice. We had a refrigerator, a large screen tv, a table, and two chairs. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good. Breakfast was okay. The staff were friendly. Overall, a good alternative at a reasonable price.

I was surprised there was no cookies or treats for arriving guests. Rooms were some what clean, although their was soap film build up on the safety bar in the shower and some mildew. The room was non-smoking but you could smell smoke. Neighboring guest were smoking on front balcony sending smoke into our room and cigarette butts were left on walkway. Stairs were uneven when going to the 2nd floor which was unsafe. .Breakfast was fair but could have been nicer. Employees were friendly. Pool was clean. Ice machine by room added much noise while trying to sleep.

I have stayed here before but completely forgot I had until I saw the swimming pool. I was not impressed this time around either and will probably stay at another hotel next time. There are too many options close by that I don't have to settle for this. The hotel is clean (was being repainted when I was there to a pretty green color) as were the rooms. Issues: 1) There are signs on every door saying no smoking and on the front entrance it says no smoking within 20 feet of the door but there was a manager (or owner, was telling the painters to remove signs so he could take them to a shop to be fixed) who was smoking right in front of the door. I had to walk through the smoke to get into the breakfast room and when I left. If you are going to post the signs you should follow your own rules. The other smoking complaint was the guys a few rooms down who were smoking marijuana on the walkway and when I called nobody came to check it out. 2) The bed was so uncomfortable. They have a mattress cover pad that is fitted like a sheet onto the mattress. It is slippery and feels like plastic. I felt like I was sleeping on a diaper all night. The hubby couldn't stand it and decided to sleep on the pull out instead. On the plus side the lady in the breakfast room was very nice and even made my waffles for me as I was fixing my granola and pouring coffee and they had an assortment of syrup.

Hotel has many rooms facing a very busy and noisy highway. Despite calling the hotel a few days in advance, asking for a quite room, when I checked-in I was given a room directly facing the highway. Impossible to sleep! Every time a truck or a motorbike was passing by, the room window was trembling, and the furniture was shaking!! I went to see the front desk manager and kindly explained that the next day I had to race triathlon, and needed a quiet room where I could sleep. I received no help. Staff was careless, and rude. They did not care about my problem: the hotel had extra rooms available, but they refused to give me a different room. I ended up leaving this hotel at 1am, and went to another hotel (paid twice for the same night). Horrible experience: don't go there if you are looking for a place where you can sleep. Also my room was non smoking, but smells like cigarettes.

We stay in this hotel at least twice a year for visits to doctors in area. Also for pleasure when we visit family in the area. I have always had very good service at Best Western hotels. Always clean and good breakfasts. Staff is always very helpful.

It was second time we've stayed here. People friendly enough particularly the 2 in charge of breakfast. They were nice to us including my little granddaughter. I guess biggest complaint was you either turn on the fan and freeze or turn it off and get too hot. Can't open windows because too much noise outside. Knew what I was getting so it was ok. Pool real nice and not crowded at all though temps were in 90's. Would be nice to get a bigger room though. Particularly the bathroom.

Very dissatisfied with check-in experience at night in which front door was locked and I was informed that reason check in was at an outside window was secondary to safety: only one staff member in attendance. This is an adequate hotel on the edge of wine country. It is old style with outside doors and corridors. The lobby is locked at 10pm and communication gores on through a window and small drawer slide. Apparently the rooms are being renovated, but I was in an older room. It was obviously dated, with a slightly musty smell, but I t was very large. The included breakfast was typical for chain hotels, there was a very friendly staff member helping make waffles and quickly clear tables. This was a nice touch and bumped my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Stayed here one night, Sat., July 23rd. Arrived at hotel after a very long day of traveling, around 10:15pm. Was greeted by a locked, closed lobby. There was a sign taped to the door saying the clerk was locking up the other buildings and would be back in 10 minutes. We wait and wait, finally see clerk coming back. We thought ok, so maybe only one person was working and she had to leave the front desk for a few minutes. But now she was back, and we'd be able to check-in. Nope, she (the clerk) proceeded to ignore us and tape another closed sign to the front door to the lobby. Then she walks over to this window with a tiny slot drawer and looks at us. I say that we are there to check-in. She says the lobby is closed and to slide our IDs and credit card thru the slot. So we are left standing outside, unable to walk in the lobby, get coffee, brochures or anything else, while the rude desk clerk walks away with my ID and credit card to hopefully find my room. Oh, and there was another clerk there too, so she was not alone. No reason to lock up the lobby and treat guests like suspected criminals not allowed inside and conduct transactions thru a secured bank teller type window slot. Felt like we were in the ghetto of a bad neighborhood where customers are treated rudely. The desk clerk was rude the whole time. Not welcoming after a long day. I did not want to be there but we were stuck. She hands us the room keys thru the window slot and it was just horrible customer lack of service. Room was old, ugly and hotel had no rollaway bed either. Our stay included breakfast, I guess, but we couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning since we were treated so rudely and awful. So we wasted our money there, had no breakfast, and it really ruined our whole day after being treated like suspected criminals. My husband has checked into hotels at all hours of the night and has never encountered a locked lobby before. We stayed at several Best Westerns on our trip and all were nice except this rude horrible excuse for a motel. Stay away!!! This hotel does not care about its guests.

"Not good for sleeping or for dogs"

I stayed for a week. On two nights, my sleep was disturbed by drunken men standing outside their rooms, arguing loudly. The first incident resulted in the manager telling me that there was nothing she could do. She tried to ask them to be quiet, they yelled profanities at her, and continued to disturb my peace. I changed rooms, and later in the week there was another incident of loud, drunken men arguing outside their room. They woke me up at 12:30 AM. I called the front desk, and a man came out. He immediately got them into their room, where they stayed for the rest of the night. The dog area is so tiny that even my 14 pound dog couldn't really walk around much. It's located right at the entrance, on a busy street. Unless your dog is OK with lots of cars going by and a really small area to do potty, this area may not be good for your dog.

It's your average motel. Nothing special. Comfortable motel for overnight stay. We had been looking for a motel for a while. Traveling US101 we couldn't see the motels or advertisements for motels from the freeway. No tall signs or anything. It was 8:00 pm and we took an exit in hopes of finding a motel. Hint, hint: more signs on the freeway.

Great staff, clean, comfortable, convenient....I won't stay anywhere else. I have to regularly make business and family trips to Sonoma County (every 3 or 4 months) so I need a dependable place to stay from where I can conduct business and see family. This motel is situated near great shopping areas, movie theater, and parks. The staff is always mindful of my requests to stay in a quiet room, where parking is convenient. I highly recommend this, and all, Best Westerns.

Very clean, convenient, and good stay overall. The staff friendly, and the pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable experience. The one issue: the bed was extremely hard/firm mattress which prevented a solid, full nights sleep.

My husband and I took a trip with our dog and chose this hotel on the morning we left home. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and the price was right. It's also easy to access from the freeway. There is a good-sized grass area for pets, and bags were provided. This hotel is right next to the freeway, but we requested a room away from the noise, and experienced no noise issues. The breakfast area was quite busy, but it was within 20 minutes of breakfast ending; the size of the breakfast area seemed adequate if there wasn't a rush.

I really like this Best Western. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. From Crescent City it is a good stopping point when traveling or doing business in the bay area. It is reasonably priced. Plus they have a nice pool.

We enjoyed our two night stay as we were close to many day trips. On day we went to Bodega Bay and Bodega, CA to see where Alfred Hitchcock's Birds was filmed. The second day we went to a winery in Sonoma County. In the evenings, we spent time at Graton Casino, ate at Tony's Place. We had great fun, and enjoyable experience in Rohnert Park.

We stayed two nights attending a nearby family wedding. The location is convenient to 101. Rooms are nice older motel style but good size. Request a quite room not facing the freeway. Note no elevators so 1st floor rooms are good if you have lots of luggage. Breakfast is good and coffee was good too, room is smaller but adequate. The staff is friendly and helpful. Note rooms book up on weekends, make reservations early for best price.

The service was very professional in regard to the information on the reservation. But when asked about the snack or water that was usually offered to Platinum Card and Diamond Card holders the refused to recognize the service and told me that this was the policy of this best western. I ask for the points but was refused. The rooms are very nice and well designed. The Cleaning staff was exceptional. I would use this Best Western Inn again.

This is an older motel set between a freeway and an arterial, so quite noisy. The exterior could use a face-lift. We arrived tired, and our 2nd floor room was far from any stairs to the car or an ice machine. A disappointing first impression. On the plus side, the room was large, with a couch and coffee table, a firm bed, a good shower, and a quiet AC. Delicious breakfast with lots of variety of choices. Very close to Costco for gas, etc.

We annually stay at Rohnert Park Ca. Best Western,convenient location right off hgwy. 101 and accessible to many good family food type dining locations including various chains.A worthwhile breakfast at B.W. starts our day.You have reasonable access to venturing of all types of things,wine country,ocean,SF, Oakland,outdoor sports ,throwback towns,Indian Casino's etc.

For a budget hotel, this one is ok. Not great, but what I expected. I was there last weekend with friends to do The Giro Bello Bike Ride. Most of the other guests were NASCAR fans who were going to the Race at the Sonoma Speedway. Our room was fine, nice comfy beds, good pillows, fairly clean except for some mold/mildew in the shower. (Rarely do I stay in any price hotel that doesn't have mold in the grout in the shower.) Has coffee in the room as well as a frig and microwave. The motel was completely booked but we had no problem with noise. The free breakfast was quite good with waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, assorted breads, bisquits & gravy, etc. The stairway that we used to get up to room 244 had a slooping 3 steps that made you feel like you were about to fall down the stairs. We did get used to it but was a bit scary at first. In all, fine for the price.

. . than the place we stayed in Rohnert Partk let year. It was clean, the room was spacious. Reasonably priced. Comfortable beds. We did not have any issue with freeway noise. The breakfast was quite satisfactory. We would certainly stay again.

I stayed at this hotel in March and again in June. The price is right. The breakfast is good. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. What more could I ask for one night while traveling. I am only sorry I did not have time to enjoy the pool. Maybe next time I will stay for two or three nights. We did recommend this hotel to guests for our daughter's wedding.

Stayed just the one night with my amazing girlfriend. It is right next to the road so expect a lot of noise all times of the night. Got woke up a couple times from the cars and sirens which seemed to be a constant in the area. Lots of food and restaurants close by. Beds was comfy, room was clean, breakfast was nice they had biscuits and gravy which was good and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

We visited family in Rohnert Park and wanted to stay in a clean hotel without paying a fortune. The Best Western Inn was exactly that. It is an older but still very functional inn and our room was quiet and comfortable. It will not rival a Hyatt but for the price it was a very nice place to stay. The breakfast buffet is standard for any Best Western.

Brother is handicapped and never travels. A remodel required him to go to a hotel for a couple of days. They (+wife) forgot to ask for a handicap room. Upon arrival, they were placed in a regular room. Brother tried to make it work. He didn't want to be a problem. We called front desk and explained the problem. Mary Ann was solution oriented...moving my them to a handicap room. Because he was content, everyone was put at ease. I love Best Western and try to stay in one wherever I go. With Mary Ann's quick resolve, my loyalty only increases for the company. So big shout out to Mary Ann!! Thank you for helping creating comfort for my brother while this crazy remodel occurs. I will be back!!

Very happy with our stay! Front desk was very nice, the beds were perfect and the room was perfectly clean. They even had laundry facilities which was great! Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good! Hard boiled eggs, toast, gravy, yogurt and waffles.

This motel had the best prices in the area. The room was a good size with 2 queen beds, table and 4 chairs, microwave, and refrigerator. Included in the price was wifi, continental breakfast, and parking. The breakfast included waffles, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, as well as the typical continental breakfast items. They accommodated my request to be next to my elderly parents' room, although I had to call the morning of arrival to remind them. There are several restaurants in the area within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I was housed in this hotel early June 2016. Reception needs a little work-very polite, but need to understand if you are there with business associates, don't deny communication when there are obvious associates. The hotel is very neat, a bit spread out. The rooms are clean, beds are good(if you could sleep), towels, sheets, amenities good. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO PUT YOU IN THE BACK! It is 50 feet from the highway access ramp and cars/trucks accelerate to get to speed all night. The continental breakfast is pretty decent, biscuits, gravy, yoghurt, cereals, juice, fruit, coffee, etc., and the lady serving will make you a waffle--- Worth another stay--BUT NOT IN THE BACK--

Rooms are large with a larger than usual frig. Spa was in good condition except for the last night when it wasn't working. Beds were comfortable, linens were in good repair. Carpet was clean. Rooms were quiet, never heard anything from the other rooms. Lighting could be a little better. Shopping (Target) was right around the corner as was a grocery store. Close to the freeway.

The hotel is located just off 101 in Rohnert Park and one wing faces the highway. Be sure and request a room away from the highway. The rooms are good-size and beds were comfortable. The hotel is dog-friendly and has an area to walk your dog. A restaurant that appears to have been directly in front of the hotel is now vacant. We had one concern. We noticed when we returned from dinner that there was a van parked next to our car and somebody was sitting in the back of the van drinking, talking to somebody outside the van. These people (not sure how many) were still in the van when we went to bed. There was no noise during the night, but at 5:30am we heard the van start up and pull out. When we left the room we noticed that the garbage can directly in back of the van was full of beer bottles and there were 3 empty cases of beer stacked in front of the garbage can. The office has security cameras, but they apparently didn't notice this. The breakfast was the standard Best Western breakfast, okay for a quick bite, but there were only 8 tables in the breakfast room and people were standing around waiting for tables. There are restaurants and stores in the area. This would not be a destination hotel, but would be okay for 1 or 2 nights.

This is a great hotel. A little old looking on the outside, but the rooms are up to date and very clean. Great free breakfast included with your stay. Nice and quiet, but close to everything. Highly recommend this hotel.

We needed a nice place to stay as we visited family in the Santa Rosa area. This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean, and competitively priced for the area. Provided easy access to the nearby freeways as well. Looked like the free breakfast was very sparse, so we left to find better choices.

We booked two nights here because of its proximity to wine country and fair price. The room had all the basics covered. Clean room, comfortable bed, working tv, soft bath towels, high shower head, decent breakfast. But the structure was one of the old fashioned "motor hotels", where the door to the room opens directly to the parking lot. Consequently there were all sorts of noises that kept us from sleeping as soundly as we would like. The A/C unit built into the wall, the in-room mini-fridge (until I unplugged it), the ice machine outside the door, trucks on the highway, people walking by pulling suitcases, housekeeping carts rolling by, and more.

I have now stayed at this Best Western twice, each time for a week. It's significantly less expensive than other hotels in the area, and I can't imagine that the competition is any cleaner or better managed. One important tip: Call the hotel directly to make a reservation, and request a room that is NOT in the "block" that faces busy, noisy Highway 101.

We recommend this hotel. The lady who works at the breakfast room does an excellent service. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care with their needs and preferences. We'll definetely go back to this place and location. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice as well.

"Noisy in the Morning"

We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor with a queen size bed. The room faced the pool area. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The sink area does not have a lot of room which makes it difficult for 2 people to get ready. There was good lighting though. The shower worked well and the towels were good and fairly thick for motel towels. We were surprised and disappointed that the TV channels did not offer CSN Bay Area. We were hoping to watch a Sharks' game and ended up heading to Graton to watch it there. Speaking of Graton, we were over there until early morning. When we arrived back around 2am, the parking lots were basically full. We found a spot in the back not near our room. There were several large trucks taking up multiple spaces, so that was a pain. It was pretty quiet while we were sleeping, but do not expect to sleep in here. Housekeeping starts rolling their carts around 8am waking everyone with the rumbling noise. It is very loud. If you want to sleep in, bring earplugs. There are plenty of food options close by the hotel. We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The hotel staff at check-in and check-out were friendly.

Good place for staying while visiting my student at Sonoma State University. Also great for those who need a base place to visit the Wine country . Near enough to Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Occidental, Bodega Bay, Sebastapol. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and they have free breakfast. It takes AAA rates so I found it reasonably priced.

My room excellent everything worked and was wonderfully clean!!! I just dont think $135.00 a night is appropriate, unless you are staying in a suite!!! I am a rewards card holder with BW and I would have thought it would have given me a better discount with them. I am also over 55, no help there either.

The location of this hotel was a disappointment and explains the lower price. While the staff was great and the room was very comfortable, the pool was dirty and not heated as advertised. The hot tub was slimy on the bottom and the water was a pale green in color.

The area(Parking lot, hallways, stairwells) were all cluttered with trash, beer bottles out side rooms, office reeked of smoke. The area was just dingy. ESPN was not working in room and asked at the desk and was told it had been out for months!!!

Stayed at the hotel and my experience was not at all frustrating. That may sound odd for a review but with recent trips to other hotels that were overpriced an frustrating its how I feel. This stay was at a fair price and all went smoothly. Check in no problem and the people were friendly. The room was clean and ready for us. The grounds felt safe and were well kept. The room clean and comfortable. In other words we had a nice stay with no problems. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We needed a hotel near the University and this one is close. Greeted by a friendly front desk employee. It's a clean, average room. Lots of pillows with updated linens, great complimentary breakfast complete with a nice lady who will make waffles for you! We drove up to find several guests lurking about smoking on the property, and were kept up all night by a couple who decided the lawn by our first floor room was an ideal place to smoke and talk literally all night. I contacted management the next day to suggest a security detail. They responded quickly. Looked like a nice pool but we weren't there long enough to use it. Check out went well with the employees going above and beyond to give us maps and directions.

Everything was clean and breakfast was very nice. We were given a room on the freeway side and had a bit of noise. Also a load guest next to us. Coming in late on one of your night neither of our room keys would work so we had to drive around to lobby to have them re-keyed. Desk clerk was very nice about, but why does that happen?

The staff was courteous checking in; however, there was a terrible mold smell in the lobby. Not so good for first impression. The rooms were OK except it was a little musty. The sink and bath tub would not drain properly. I did not care for the overall comfort of the bed.

My partner really was dissatisfied with how small the room was. I liked the fitness room, the laundry room, and the jacuzzi. The staff are top notch. Breakfast offerings were adequate: instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, waffle maker; coffee was good.

This is the worst BW I've ever seen. They advertise a pool and spa. Neither was operational. The breakfast was barely passable and the eating area is too small for the number of people using it. Very noisy.

This is the WORST "Best Western" I have stayed in. The property is run-down - the pool was unheated and dirty, the spa was closed, the rooms were old, noisy and falling apart. I acquired some serious bites from bugs in the room. I really loved the group of SAIA truckers having a very loud conversation outside our door about 7AM. The breakfast buffet is less than impressive - the only eggs were hard-boiled. The television was blasting and another guest was yelling into his cell phone in Jamaican pigeon. We cancelled and moved to the Hampton Inn up the street.

The room was nice. All the amenities were available. However, the entrance was outside, so you can hear clearly people walking by, because of the cement walkway you can hear the rollers of the suitcase. If the entrance was inside the hallways, might not have been a problem. The Breakfast Bar was awesome! It was the employee, Reina, that made the difference of a good b-bar to an awesome one! She made the Belgium waffles for you, bussed your tables, and always have a smile on your face! Reina great customer service is the difference maker!

My friend and I booked the hotel after comparing rates, amenities, and reviews to others in the area, and we were not disappointed. Our four day workshop turned into a vacation, thanks to the great accommodations and service. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. We weren't expecting much more than cold cereal and bad coffee, so the variety of foods and beverages offered by Best Western meant we didn't need to eat out in the mornings. I'd definitely return if I ever need to be in the area again.

We stayed in the back part of the hotel and the noise from the traffic is extremely loud. We slept with pillows on our heads to drown out the noise. The room was clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

We stay here at least 4 times a year, medical appointments in San Francisco easy access to the 101 freeway make this a very comfortable place to stay. The staff are amazing and the rooms are very clean. Fair breakfast, but close to many eating establishments for choices for any meal. The beds and pillows are super comfortable! Nice pool and hot tube for relaxing. Love this place will continue to stay here for business or pleasure for years to come.

This Best Western has a very friendly and welcoming staff. The towels are nice & fluffy. The rooms are clean and well laid out. We liked the extra dining room table. Our daughter took up the desk for her homework, so it was nice to have some table space when we needed to eat in the room. The place is a great location near the Sonoma State University.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Exterior needed a little maintenance, but overall good experience. Could have had a paper TV guide to make it easier to see what was playing. Bring your own soap, as the ones provided stink like mold (I'm sure it's the perfume that is supposed to smell like citrus).

Run as fast as you can away from this motel. Felt as if I was sleeping in the middle of the freeway with all the traffic noise. The only way we were able to get any sleep was to turn on the room fan and that only partially blocked the noise of cars driving by. When I checked in the desk clerk was rude, I had asked for a smoking room and he tried to put us in a non-smoking room and when I checked out they tried charging us more than the room charges. When I pointed this out he said they had us in the wrong room, the room we were suppose to be in was a king size bed and they put us in a queen room but charged us for the king size room. The rooms are nice but the service is terrible.

Nice and clean hotel, everything was top noch for the price i paid. Only exception the pillows were too high and firm, the bed was fine, clean sheets and comfortable matress. Stores and shopping center are walking distance, and 5min drive to the new casino in the area. I totally recomended!

My stay at this "hotel" started w/ the dim overhead light, and sewage smell from the sink area (I think). It was laid out like a motel, and the room was mediocre. I could have stayed at cheaper hotels around the area, but thought that this would be a nicer stay. The bed was comfortable though.

Good place to stay, my mom n I had to come up for a funeral for a family member. We decide to try out this hotel. Never been to this one n we have lived in Rohnert park n Santa Rosa. They clean up the parking lot n the stairs every day. N they keep the boardroom where u get your Continental breakfast stocked up. The rooms are clean. N stocked with everything u need. Close to restaurants, gas stations! Will be staying here again when I come back to Sonoma county.

Rooms facing highway are extremely noisy. Rest is very good. Decent breakfast. Internet is good. For Sonoma travelers it's one of the best possible locations - close to all vineyards and attractive price/quality ratio.

"Very Comfortable, Worth the extra cost"

I have had to make several trips to Rohnert Park in the past few weeks, and will have to make several more. We've stayed at other hotels, both less and more expensive than the Best Western. I actually had a ore-paid reservation at one of the economy chains, but made the decision since I had to be there another 6 nights and had a friend coming to help me, that I wanted a more "comfortable" room. Bare bones is OK sometimes, but I wanted to have a comfortable room, and a shower that didn't dribble out of the showerhead. The Best Western in Rohnert Park is VERY comfortable, the rooms are well kept, and the beds are the best I think I've experienced in the past few years. The room was cleaned very nicely each day while we were gone. The adjustable showerheads were great, and we had very good water pressure. An added bonus is the slightly upgraded Continental Breakfast which is included in the price. The woman who manages the breakfast room is a spitfire, and keeps that place humming! She always greeted us with a smile, and even remembered what we got on previous days. The laundry room was clean, although a bit untidy - but that was not staff's fault. There was a huge construction job going on near by, and there had to have been 40 workers staying there at the hotel, so a few dryer sheets on the floor was to be expected.

Could be cleaner outside. Internet never worked. Room was clean, bathroom clean, room was quiet. Fitness center was closed 30 minutes after it was to open. Breakfast was not terrible, but I've had better. Not much selection. Bed was a little hard.

Good and clean with friendly and helpful staff. A simple but sufficient breakfast buffet, however, the breakfast area is far too small for the number of patrons. Some noise from the nearby 101 but nothing that really stopped me from getting sleep (this particular room was further away from the highway than others, though). WiFi was perfectly OK. Would come again.

Clean, comfortable and quite even thought the motel was full. enjoyed the Hot Spa and the breakfast. Would have preferred that the breakfast included shambled eggs and sausage like some Best Western do. All in all the stay was enjoyable.

I have stayed at Best Western in Rohnert Park for several years while visiting my family that lives in that town. The staff is always helpful and professional and the room is always clean and well equipped. I have brought my three little dogs and hotel staff has been great about having them, and has been very nice to them also. I will definitely stay here again!!

I have stayed at this establishment a couple of times before. The hotel exterior needs a 'facelift' but the rooms are clean and well maintained. Not bad, not great. The rooms look like they've been recently updated, and the people working the front counter are very nice. It's just right next to the 101, and it's in the sort of area that you want to lock your doors by sundown, and close the shades because it's rather sketchy. There also must've been a wedding party going on because we could hear loud music and loud people all night. However, since it was just for one night, it wasn't bad.

The room was okay, but not as crisp as some other BW we've stayed; however, it was clean, quiet, and we got a good night's rest. Despite the room key card demagnetizing twice and the tub faucet dripping, we felt we had a good stay. Although we noticed there were other hotels closer to Graton Casino than this one, my husband and I did appreciate the microwave and refrigerator in the room and considered them to be a plus. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

After stopping at several other hotels in the area - that did not accept cats - but did accept dogs- We finally found this gem ! The room was very nice - King bed, refrigerator, microwave, etc. there wasn't a lot of noise, considering it was pretty booked up . My hubby did the free breakfast , which was all right . The room was very clean , nice bathrooms- with good water pressure. I would gladly stay here again , and would recommend it to others . They have both non smoking & smoking rooms .

Do you know what the difference between a hotel and a motel is? If outside your room door is where your car is parked, you're at a motel. And that's what this place is. Across from my door was my car, and then the 101 freeway. It's quite noisy, from the freeway, and also the rain outside, but that's what you expect for place where outside your door isn't a hallway. The room is quite small. Room enough for a queen size bed and two chairs. At least there's a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was ok. Small dining room, but nothing special. Bread, two waffle machines, juice, and coffee. The Wi-Fi was horrible. One night when network went out. I called, Wi-Fi support but the network only lasted for an hour before I had to call again.

Recently stayed at the Best Western Rohnert Park for a 7 day business trip. VERY disappointed with the lack of service by this hotel. Power outage made it impossible to check in and the staff seemed unconcerned. ( I had an important meeting that I wanted to freshen up and change my clothes). Lights outside my room burned out. Even after multiple request to have the bulb changed . . . Never happened during the 7 days I was there. Also, room had odor that was mild but annoying. I would have changed hotels but there was no vacancies locally (government rate hotels are few in Rohnert Park). Next trip, I'm paying out of pocket and staying !at the Shearton

I got maybe 2 hours of sleep here. And I was exhausted to begin with. The room has zero sound proofing, could hear every word by everyone outside the room. Sirens on the freeway going by all night. Screaming people in other rooms at 1:30 in the morning. Housekeeping carts at 6 am that sound like freight trains coming down the second floor walkway. Wanted to scream! The room seemed expensive to begin with, and it was quite small. I have no idea why this place is rated as high as it is. I would never stay here again.

Stayed here for an in between trip to San Fran and Santa Rosa. This worked really well. The room was very clean and the staff was very professional and helpful. Unfortunately the bed was not the most comfortable and the hours of the hot tub and pool were ridiculous.

This hotel was very disappointing. Best Western is usually fairly decent to stay at but I may as well have been staying at a Motel 6. When we checked in, the lobby smelled like weed. The room was very stale smelling, the linens were ripped and some of the bathroom fixtures were broken. It was very disappointing. Service was excellent though, staff was friendly.

Stayed at this facility as it was more reasonable and convient for our visit to Sonoma State University. The continental breakfast was very good with some options to choose from. Also close to shopping and restraunts.

Enjoyed being in a hotel that was clean, comfortable and offered only facilities I wanted to use....e.g. hot tub, pool. Restaurants are nearby, casino and access to freeway....I highly recommend this hotel to all ages...

This best western is above average. The room was roomy and clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The only complaint was the maid knocked on our door in the morning and came right in. Luckily we weren't getting busy or anything other than sleeping in late

Dirty room, broken amenities, garbage everywhere outside, dirty exterior. Building dilapidated. Unfriendly staff. Food cheap, not many choices. Juice & waffle mix watered down. Bedding wrinkled, bed uncomfortable, dirty rug, dirty bathroom, old broken down furniture. The place smelled. Questionable cliental and they treated us as such.

My second time staying at this Best Western. First time was fine. But second time we had a few issues: table lamps didn't work, bathroom fan was very noisy, but most of all the alarm clock (still set from previous client) rang in the middle of the night!! A very bad night sleep... I complained at the desk, where I was told the manager would call me back. Never received the call back, so had to call back.

We stayed here after driving through Napa and Sonoma since we wanted to go to Graton Casino. The hotel was very affordable and had all the amenities we could ask for - a fitness room, free breakfast, laundry (multiple machines!), pool/hot tub, and clean. The rooms weren't spectacular but they were clean and that's what's important to my husband and I. Totally worth the price we paid and we could walk to the casino and several restaurants.

There appeared to be prostitutes staying in the room above. They had a dog that accosted my son-in-law and daughter three times while carrying their 2 yr. old. The owner did not have the dog on the leash and yelled at my family for kicking at her dog. The police were called and on of the prostitutes was arrested (outstanding warrant). The BW maintenance man seemed to be assisting the women and was gruff to my daughter. The carpeting didn't appear soiled but don't walk barefoot! The soles of you feet will turn black. Not good with a 2 yr. old.

Was in area to watch a college golf tournament, hotel is right off the freeway, with plenty of food establishments nearby. Convenient to the golf course and only an hours drive to San Francisco and Napa Wine country Not a bad place to stay for a day or two, I would return.

This inn is actually a motel and facilities reflected this. Breakfast was free which was good but it was a rather uninspiring selection of food. There was a good restaurant (Red Lobster) a few minutes walk away. Rohnert Park was a very disappointing area to us - there was no town centre. If we were visiting the Sonoma Valley again we would choose to stay at Santa Rosa or Sonoma.

The people that work at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and was great to eat and head out to explore other parts of the area. But the décor of the rooms was very dated. I felt like I was back in the 80's.

Staff was condescending when I asked for joined rooms. The girl in the office was rude and her tone was snide. She had a bad attitude. I will never come to this location again. I expect a better attitude from someone at a front desk.

"Loud on weekends"

Altogether a fine place to stay. Unfortunately, on the Saturday night we stayed there, very noisy talking from arrivals, 1:30-3:30 AM, plus some loud arguing out on the balcony walkway and parking lot. We wished we'd brought bathing suits to avail ourselves of the pool and spa. Good location. Not too much traffic noise after about 11 PM. Staff very friendly and super-helpful.

"Road trip"

Wasn't sure when we first pulled in, but ended up being a great stay. Nice big room, two sinks separate from the shower. Good laundry facilities, multiple washers and dryers. Great shower. Good breakfast, about the best coffee I have had at a BW. Lighting could have been a little better. Room on first floor was quiet. Good location for visiting Napa and Sonoma. Would definitely return. Some staff not warm and fuzzy, but they had all we needed.

My family went for the Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa. We never regretted to booked at this hotel. Hotel is close to proximity to Red Lobster ( near the compound ), Olive Garden and Panera. Our room is clean and very spacious. Breakfast is sufficient, maybe next time they can add some protein like bacon, egg or sausage :). I want to thank Reigna (hotel staff) who has been attending to the guest during breakfast, she makes the best waffles, she is awesome! Hotel staff are very attentive and professional. Will sure be back next year!

I've stayed at plenty of hotels, I checked in late and had to park far from my room. It was scary a scary walk as I'm walking alone. The parking lot needs to be a bit brighter. If your there for a business meeting make sure you don't meet you co-worker there to review for a meeting cause they will chase you out and tell you to go to the lobby where there is not much room to do as people are walking through to go to the breakfast area.

"Not the :Best Western"! A Mediocre Western. Not up to BW standards!"

This Best Western location is in a stage of deterioration! Definitely not up to the Best Western standard we are used to. For example, 1. Hair Dryer broken. 2. Iron tethered so you can't hardly use it and leaked hot water. 3. Microwave had issues. Worked but barely. 4. Bath tub drain plugged up! Would not drain! 5. Management would not honor my reward points. 6. The freeway side is very noisy. 7. Breakfast mediocre at best. Offer waffles but no butter or syrup! Can you say cheap??? I am reporting this franchise to BW Corporate as an example of how not to do business! 8. Front desk had problems finding my reservation! Tried to make it sound like it was my fault. Room was clean, thats about the only good thing I can say about this place. If you can find another place to stay, you might do better.

"Not great for those travelling with pets."

Although the beds were comfy, room was nice and dark for sleeping, and the staff were very nice, the area to take your pet was covered with very prickly oak leaves that got on our dog's legs and were very painful to pull off. It also smelled of some kind of cleaner in the room and wasn't a pleasant smell..we had to leave the door open for the first hour. Also breakfast ended at 9:30 and the groundskeepers were out moving and trimming the bushes at 9:30, so not a great place if you wanted to sleep in!
