« Good But Can Be Better »

Let me begin by saying that I would definitely stay here again. If you visit eat dinner in the lounge. Peggy is a gem. Great personality and service. On Tuesdays and Thursdays well drinks, house wine and domestic beer are free to guests. Check in was efficient. Got a goodie bag for being an elite with BW. USA Today free in the lobby. The room was huge BUT no overhead light and the lamps had those lousy small curly florescents. Room was a bit dim. SUGGESTION: Replace them with LEDs. Breakfast is limited (For instance, you can have eggs any way you want as long as they are scrambled.) but good HOWEVER it is served in a sit-down full service venue starting at 0600. This makes it tough for those of us who need to be somewhere at 0645 to be served. Service is good. Don't forget to tip your server. SUGGESTION: Either open earlier OR serve buffet style. The hotel is not really convenient to downtown so be ready for a drive if you want to visit or eat there. The menu in the lounge or restaurant is enough to please most. Some selections are excellent (Try the soups!) others average but none were bad. I was there for a week. This was the only place I ate. TV had all the channels you would need but was a bit small for the size of the room. The rooms are clustered around an atrium. Quiet but no windows in mine. Didn't miss them. Huge bathroom. Two tubs / toilets/ sinks. Room and bathroom spotless but drapes are a bit open at their ends even when closed. SUGGESTION: Fasten the drapes at the ends so there is no opening when they are closed. Checkout was disappointing. No express checkout offered. Had to hit the front desk for the bill. Wasted time on a snowy morning when a trip to the airport over an icy I-80 was slow enough to maybe jeopardize making the flight. Correct the minor annoyances and this is a five star venue.

« Three of the best people work here! »

Virginia, Peggy and Kevin and the best people!!!! Amazing customer service! Very helpful, kind and fun! These three are just fantastic! Made for an amazing stay! Virginia was so helpful when she checked us in. Peggy was in the lounge. And Kevin was at the front desk when I locked myself out of my room! We had fun here and these three helped with that! What a great stay! Thank you all three!!!

« Great place to stay »

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay here while on our road trip back to BC, Canada. The service was excellent. The room warm and comfortable and the breakfast was first class. We enjoyed staying on the ground floor which was very convenient for our luggage but it mean mean a bit of road noise. Also, the soundproofing between rooms could be better as the TV next door was heard, although not too loud.

« First class pleasant stay near I-80 »

Long drive thru Nebraska & Wyoming, but the Outlaw Inn provided a pleasant oasis stop along the way. All the amenities we needed and then some. Pleasant restaurant for breakfast where you select menu items from a list you receive upon checkin. Very tasty! Enclosed indoor access in large enclosed courtyard, protecting you from the winds, rain & snow prevalent in Wyoming. One of our most delightful stays on the road from Tennessee to Salt Lake City.

    « Best Western »

A great pace to stay. The outside appearance looks aged, but d not let that stop you from staying there. The hotel staff are warm and friendly. Very eager to assist. The staff in the restaurant are very attentive, as was the staff at the bar

    « Good Night's Rest »

The room was just the right size. All the amenities seemed to be up to date. Comfortable bed. Mini fridge, microwave and flat screen TV were available. The high speed internet was extremely slow and dropped out several times throughout the evening. Otherwise, I slept throughout the night without being disturbed.

    « Overpriced »

We have stayed here in the past on our way from Idaho to Florida or returning home. We had forgotten how costly it was compared to other Best Westerns and other similar motels. Rock Springs seem to be where we land for the night. The free breakfast is unremarkable. The beds are good. The lower level rooms have no natural light and are good for sleeping.

« Best Western Outlaw Inn »

Nothing extraordinary about the room either way. What made the stay memorable was the meal at the steakhouse at the restaurant. We had two of the best New York steaks we have ever had. I would select this hotel over similar others based on the quality of the meal we had there. Outstanding. Service was great too.

« problem with the fan »

We had trouble finding the motel . It was unclear which of the buildings behind the sign was the motel and the entry was very poorly lit . I could not determine that it was the motel ulntil I got close to the door and read a small sign on the door.

    « OUTLAW INN »

We had to go to Rock Springs for a funeral. The room was comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. Waitstaff was also friendly and delivered good service. We loved the hot breakfast. It was just perfect for our needs.

    « A good place to stop »

We needed a half way point between Denver and Jackson Hole and landed here. Rock Springs is not a place of beauty, but the hotel is great. Just what we needed. Its position just off the highway is very convenient. The staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was massive and well equipped. We also had an excellent dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. Well fed and rested we set off in the morning. Many thanks!

« A real cut above the rest of the Best Western chain »

The Outlaw Inn is so far above the rest of the Best Western chain. Don't know where to start. Room was extremely clean -- the bathroom was so spotless that the tub could be used for soaking. None of that invisible soap scum on it. Just squeaky clean white porcelain. The chair to be used at the business desk was comfortable and adjustable. The heating system work well. Nice swimming pool. The fitness center had running machine, elliptical and a nautilus. Additionally, yoga mats, blocks, and a large ball were available. Television had HBO (Westworld and Divorce!) ; wi-fi worked well; fridge for food storage very welcome. Beds were comfortable enough but a teensy bit firm for me. What was really great was breakfast. Best Western usually puts out a decent spread with things kept warm in steam pans. I'm not a fan of old scrambled eggs. This place did it perfect for me. The free breakfast was a menu and you could order a limited number of items from it. Food freshly prepared. The hash browns were very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were great. Crispy bacon. And very good coffee. I was visiting family and enjoyed a trout dinner in the restaurant one evening. Nicely cooked. I don't usually notice decor, but this place had such lovely paintings that it is noteworthy. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. I felt as though they were happy I was a guest.

    « Last Resort »

My husband booked this hotel because of some of the great reviews, plus we have had great experiences at other BW's. I am not usually one for writing bad reviews but I feel like I need to warn other travelers, especially based on the fact that there are other reviews that seem to be misleading. This hotel is old, run down, and difficult to navigate. The rooms are laid out in an awkward manner, like they were once two separate buildings at one time that they slapped a roof on to make into one hotel. If you have more than a couple of pieces of luggage, you better hope that you are staying on the street level because there are no luggage carts and no elevators (only a glass handicapped elevator to be ada compliant). I noticed an elderly couple struggling to get up to the 2nd floor. The rooms smelled terrible and were incredibly stuffy. When we tried to turn the air down to about 72 degrees to help circulate the air, we noticed that there was very little air movement and the room did not get cooler. When we asked the front desk about changing rooms so that we could get an air conditioner that works, they said that the entire hotel was connected to only one HVAC system which is controlled by the front desk. That means that we had no control over the temperature in our room. The entire hotel was set at one temperature. At night, our room temp got up to 78 degrees which is completely unacceptable. We almost contemplated leaving the hotel to go to another hotel. That's how uncomfortable we were with the place. If you are looking for a place to stay in this town, pay an extra $20 and go to another hotel. This hotel is a last resort.

« What a wonderfully pleasant surprise. Loved this place! »

We traveled all day through the Rocky Mountains so it was very late by the time we arrived at our hotel. We were very tired but one step in the door and we suddenly wished it was mid afternoon so that we would have more time to enjoy this fantastic place. The large lobby boosted warm leather couches and chairs along with a large saddle and a huge inviting fireplace. Despite being tired I could not help but take an extra few minutes to sit down on the couch and get a little respite before going to our room. I have to admit it could have been easier because the middle section where our rooms were located were blocked off for an event the next morning however they did allow us to use the small elevator to get our luggage to our rooms. Our room was great, comfortable beds, western decor and very nice. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning with wonderful service. Our server even allowed me to keep the pen for my purse and I used it throughout our trip out west to the National Parks. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a perfect spot for traveling to Jackson Hole. My only regret is that I would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the great presentation of this great place.

« Great Place to stay »

Rooms are clean and have micro wave and frige, you check off a sheet for your complimentary breakfast and sit in their restaurant and get waited on. Was a very pleasant stay. The staff were all wonderful and friendly.

    « Our stay »

We were pleasantly surprised and very happy to find the Outlaw Inn in the quality condition was in. Over the years we have stayed here several times and always had a good experience. Thanks for your effort to keep it is top notch condition

    « Would Stay Again »

I stayed at Outlaw Inn twice while traveling to and from the Denver area. Loved it. Clean, quiet, friendly staff both times. The first room I had was an oversize king room, complete with sitting area, TV, Microwave, refrigerator. The bed was comfortable, and loved the fresh, fluffy, soft towels. This room had 2 bathrooms, which I didn't need. The second time I stopped, I had a queen room. This room was also clean, inside, by the pool. My door actually opened up to the pool area. I don't know if it would be noisy when there are people in the pool, but for this time, it was quiet. There is a cook to order breakfast (you mark what you would like and take it to the breakfast area in the morning - limited to 3 items) As I had to leave before 6:00 am, I was given a "breakfast to go" - muffin, granola bars, apple, and a bottle of water.

    « Uncomfortable beds »

Clean room. 2 queen beds, both lumpy, and dented in center. Rest of room was fine. Very nice front desk staff. Unable to park close to room,on second floor with no elevator. They have a restaurant on site, which was very good. Indoor pool.

    « A great stay at a fine BW »

We typically stay at Evanston or Little America when traveling between Boise and Denver. We wanted to shorten the drive to Denver and stayed in Rock Springs. We are very impressed with "The Outlaw Inn". It is equipped with conference facilities, terminals for work, a very nice swimming pool. A very good large restaurant and a bar. Like just about every BW that we have stayed in, the staff is friendly and quite accommodating. This hotel can handle a business meeting and the catering. Our room was clean and properly equipped. The hotel lobby is very welcoming. The restaurant entrance is down stairs. The bar entrance is off the lobby. The hotel is easily accessed from I-80.

« My Stay at the Out Law In in Rock Springs Wy »

With degree in Hospitality, and 20+ plus years in sales including corporate and group sales for hotels to travel group sales. I have experienced plenty hotels across the U.S and Canada. I can be very picky on appearance of the establishment, how guess services greet you, to how the towels are folded. I look for those little things that really count. My experience with Best Westerns Outlaw Inn, wasn't just another motel, hotel. It was "Out Standing Inn Experience" Every f thing from my suite room (that I didn't expect) to the wait staff that made me feel special in the "Inn" restaurant. The Out Law Inn, is just that Inn, with class to the max. Thank you for the wonderful experience. And I hope to visit your again.

    « Will Not Disappoint »

We arrived at the Outlaw Inn having flown from Atlanta to Denver, via a very long day, and then the long drive from Denver to Rock Springs. So we were more than a little travel weary. Do not worry, this hotel will not disappoint. This hotel is, of course, an older hotel, but you would never guess it by your room. This was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever had. The room is updated and had everything you need including very comfortable beds. Something about the shower was special, can't describe. The breakfast was WONDERFUL. You pick three items, but don't be skeptical, this is made to order and is excellent. You will think about how special this breakfast was long after you're gone. Please remember to tip your server well as they are great people and this is no ordinary breakfast. I'm still thinking about how nice it was. Very good experience here.

    « Great Decor »

My wife and I enjoyed the clean, quiet, spacious and updated rooms. The Western themed decor which is carried throughout the premises is fun and interesting. The on site restaurant and lounge offer the convenience that motels in the past used to. We found the staff friendly and professional. We would recommend the Outlaw Inn to anyone who's looking for an unique and comfortable motel experience.

    « Interesting »

Breakfast is done a little differently here. It's not your usual continental get it yourself buffet style breakfast. You pick a few items off of a breakfast sheet, max of three items and a drink, give to a server/staff member and breakfast is served to you restaurant style. Jolynn & Bobbie were the sweetest people ever. They took great care of us and were funny and kind. If you like cinnamon buns, GET THE CINNAMON BUN. It was SO good!

« Outstanding stop in Rock Springs »

I was here for two nights on a business trip. The staff were super friendly and helpful. A warm welcome after hours of driving really makes a difference! The room was large and well furnished. There is a free cooked breakfast and we ate at both the restaurant and the saloon, both were great. In both cases, the friendly, helpful staff really made our experience one we will remember. If you find yourself in this part of the country, I can't think of a better place to stop.

    « Very Good »

Wonderful Decor. The "Outlaw" theme was used throughout. Paige was very helpful with check in, and also when I couldn't get in the laundry room, she came and helped. Room and was clean. Would stay there and recommend.

    « Nice Place »

Clean Rooms. Actually has a restaurant on site which was nice. Very friendly staff. Liked the decor which was centered around the famous outlaws. The interior lobby area was very well decorated. Inside pool

    « Fabulous breakfast »

Homemade omelettes with your choice of meat and veggies made fresh right before your eyes was a very welcomed surprise. Oh, were they ever so tasty, melt in your mouth with gooey cheese, fresh vegetables, and my favorite meat - bacon! I'd definitely stay here again and would linger longer over my meal.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

This was a nice surprise, the room and bed was good. The restaurant on premise was real good and after being on the road all day it was great to walk-in and have a great meal. Oh and for breakfast it was even better. There's even a bar but never made it into the bar.

    « no discount »

Hotel is clean and comfortable. But if you want my business you need to be completing for my business. If I want to stop some place and relax. I should not pay full price. I tried and stay at the Best Western. Comfort Inn gave me a discount no matter where I stayed and I do not need to book in advance.

« Impressive lobby and pool area »

I was surprised how large this hotel was. The lobby, breakfast and pool area were very nice and very spacious. The location is good with a Denny's and a few other restaurants just down the road. There are rooms connected to the main building which have an indoor entrance, there are also some motel type rooms, which look a bit older and have individual outdoor entrances. We were in one of the older rooms, which was clean and comfortable, but nothing fantastic. The wifi worked great, the bed was comfortable and we had a good shower so that was all we needed. The breakfast was different than most hotels, we received a card and we could choose 3 items off the card and a drink, we had to hand in the card when going for breakfast and were served breakfast at our table. It was nice to be served but I do prefer being able to pick and choose more than 3 items, since each choice, no matter how small, was considered a separate item.

    « A Favorite Place We Stayed »

Loved everything about this stay....the novel idea for the way they include breakfast is awesome...staff very very comfortable...always wish for better lighting. Very well located on trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone NP.

    « all good »

all good the stay us for work the us very help ful i will stay there again room where good clean and the resturart was good like the food the staff was very helpful at the front deck and in the resturart thank you very must

    « Outlaw »

The hotel rooms are quiet even though it seems like it should be loud with the rooms facing the pool. My daughter and husband were in the pool and she was screaming and I couldn't hear it from a room very close to the pool. My baby was crying and my husband couldn't hear it from outside our room. The beds are really comfortable. The A/C has trouble keeping up but it was hot and our rooms were warm but comfortable.

« Classic early Best Western where no 2 properties were alike. »

This is my IDEAL B/W. With 2 floors of rooms surrounding an atrium supported by large wood py. lings, and wood ceiling. One one side is a large pool and on the other side is an open multi use space that could be used for banquets, dances, etc. Upon your arrival in the lobby in the center are overstuffed sofas that I would buy a room just to sleep on them. Off to the side is a lounge with the house restaurant beside it.The room is clean comfortable and has 77 channels of TV. Check in was fast and friendly, with a (good) twist. At check in (1 night) you'll be given a breakfast menu card which you fill in and guess this. They will cook it to order. (ATTN: Corporate this way should cut down on waste, I suspect FEW people would object to the added time/ over freshness. The location of the property is off exit 104 of I-80 . It has a Denny's, McD's ,Taco John's and an (unk) pasta joint directly across the road. 2 hints:1) if you are booking thru BWI ask for an exterior room away from US191,(the quietest year round.). 2) gas at the Flying J across the road is $. 15/gal cheaper than the Loafs and Jugs next door. .

« Next door occupants sat outside my hotel door and made noise »

I tried Best Western Outlaw because it looked like a quieter hotel than many in this town. It was definitely more expensive than the hotels I had been staying at before at $150 a night. Starting about 6pm, the next-door occupants of another hotel room took the hotel furniture out of their room, and set it up outside my door and theirs next door. They commenced drinking beers and telling stories to each other. One of the women sat right outside my door. I hoped they would go back into their room or to a restaurant like most people will do, but they just sat outside drinking beers and talking loudly. I finally opened my door and politely asked them if they would go into their hotel room since I was trying to sleep. One of the men told me, not so politely, to mind my own business because he was exercising his free rights. So I called the hotel staff to complain. There was only one woman on duty, and she said she couldn't leave the desk. Apparently, there were no other workers, including no other maintenance workers. She called their hotel room and asked them to keep it down, but they ignored her. I complained a second time. This time she came around back to where my hotel room was, and she asked them to move their party indoors their hotel room. They ignored her again. So then she had no idea what to do, and she called me and said if they persisted in being noisy for "three times" she might call the police but otherwise, the best she could do was transfer me to another room. This was supposedly a nice hotel but the management couldn't control their own hotel guests. Why couldn't she just kick them out? Why couldn't she just order them inside? I have no idea why she didn't just do something concrete, but luckily they did quiet down slightly, and I fell asleep until the man who earlier told me to mind my own business, knocked on my door loudly at about 10:00pm. He woke me up. I could hear his girlfriend tell him, "Be careful now!" I had trouble falling asleep after that because I was afraid the guy would do something extreme like slash my tires. You might expect this type of guest at a Motel 6, but why was this goon at a Best Western where he had to pay out $150 a night? I was underwhelmed by the ineffectiveness of management, by the courtesy of my fellow guests, and by the expensive price for nowhere in the middle of Wyoming.

    « Pool »

My 3 grandchildren LOVED the pool. We could park at the back door close to our room which was helpful. Staff recommended a good local restaurant, Daughter and Son-in-law enjoyed going to the bar. Thanks!

    « Excellent »

Check in was a breeze, staff courteous and professional, room clean and tidy, breakfast was good and staff excellent, pool area was clean with area for observers to sit and watch. Common areas were visitor friendly. Recommend for everyone.

« Pleasant place to rest and dine. »

The room was very comfortable and had easy access to an indoor pool, exercise room, and fine dining restaurant within the hotel. A hearty breakfast was included with the charge of room within the same restaurant. Location was ideal with easy access to I-80 and WY Rt 191 intersection.

    « Very pleasant »

This is a relatively large older motel which is very well maintained. The room for 2 was not large, but very comfortable. The exercise room was adequate since it is not heavily used. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the town. The attached restaurant was quite nice (standard American food). Unusual for a Best Western, the included breakfast was served.. Nice touch!

« Road Warriors Get Road Weary »

Exhausted on the road the Best Western in Rock Springs was an oasis. Very comfortable in ALL ways-clean-well appointed but the best of the lot was the staff at the desk. They were welcoming, and seeing my condition provided the information and room to meet my specific needs. I resumed my trip being restored.

    « Vacation »

This is a very nice hotel, conveniently located. Very clean with comfortable beds.we didn't stay for breakfast so they fixed us snack bags to go which was wonderful. The staff was friendly and accompanying. The only draw back to this hotel is its has stairs, there is an elevator but the staff has to operate it which is kinda a nuisance, but overall it's a great hotel for the money.

« Excellent start to our vacation »

After a very long first day in the car we arrived at the hotel. I booked based on Tripadvisor reviews and once again, I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is older, but has been renovated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Seeing the complaint about no elevator--only stairs, I'm not sure how you would have an elevator that would take you up about 8 steps.....It's an old style BW with the bottom rooms on a lower level (you have to go down from the main floor) and the upper rooms on a raised level with the pool in the middle. Anyway....they do offer a free breakfast at the attached restaurant and I love the way they do it. I wish it was like this at every hotel with an attached restaurant. If I ever happen to be in Rock Springs, WY again this would be where I would stay.

« Outdated but decent quality »

The Outlaw Inn has a dated appearance that includes the inside layout and decor. There are no elevators, only stairs. Though it's only two floors, I saw several elderly customers dragging their heavy luggage up dated, carpeted stairs. The hotel is very clean, though, and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant, The Open Range, is again very dated in appearance, but the food quality was surprisingly good. Our server, Tawdy, was extremely friendly and accommodating.

« Old motel with a new face »

We have been in Rock Springs before. This motel has been around awhile. We stayed in one of the older rooms that opens directly to the parking lot. My spouse is handicapped and it was perfect for loading and unloading the car! Probably the only drawback for us was the dining room's location on a lower level. We didn't find an elevator and presume this is part of the old building. Good free breakfast with waiters serving. Hotel meals purchased were rather expensive we thought.

« Always good at BW but this was exceptional! »

This place is great! It is everything I have come to expect from almost every Best Western. When I came in Betty was so much more helpful than I am used to at hotels. She even got me a different room to help me out with my activities. The pool is awesome! Western them in rooms is great too. Jessie

« Feel Right at Home at the Outlaw »

This hotel has the finest staff I have ever dealt with while on business. Thank you for all you do. You make me feel at home.Bobbie in the restaurant and Betty at check-in are the finest in the industry.

    « Excellent hotel »

Not only do you have a wonderful bed to sleep in but you have the option of getting your morning breakfast to go! Great for those who like to be on the road early. The rooms were very neat and clean and the grounds were very well kept up.

« Best Western Outlaw Inn, Rock Springs, WY »

Great hotel in an unassuming location. Quality rooms, nice atrium, great swimming pool, lobby and restaurant. Food selection for the included breakfast were great and not limited to one or two items and cooked to order, not microwaved and put into a small corner of the lobby like some hotel chains. Definitely would visit again if we go through Wyoming.

    « Relaxing experience »

Convenient; quiet, on-premises dining and very good complimentary hot breakfast with menu-based selections. Fast service. I stayed in an outside room, but will try the inside next trip ( to make use of pool more convenient).

« Best Hotel on our recent trip! »

Loved the cleanliness the friendliness and the bar and the restaurant down stairs for dinner and breakfast! All around the best experience on the trip! The staff was very welcoming! The restaurant was not beside the front desk which made it seem so nice!

    « Older Property »

The property was clean and the front desk staff was great. The room was quiet even though just outside the pool. The property has not been updated in awhile, including the bed and towels. Property just seemed dated compared to other properties we stayed in for this trip. Easy access to the freeways, gas, and food. Wifi was good. Bar is very dark and not all that clean. Likely would not use the property in the future.

« The only place to stay in Rock Springs. »

I came to Rock Springs for a class reunion. My first choice to stay was at the historic Outlaw Inn. A review of the various rating agencies, like AAA, told me The Outlaw Inn was still a top tier motel. I was not disappointed. First impressions were positive. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Fresh flowers were present. The upper-level Inside room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice and tradional looking. The service and food was good. I would like to suggest to Mr. Anselmi that he add ramps and handicapped lifts for those of us with rolling luggage and achy knees. I would like to have more light in the room and in the interior of the building to help my failing eyes. More greenery too. There was an interesting gazebo-like section I walked through from the lobby to my upper-level room. It appeared neglected, like an unrented conference room. I hope that in the future it would always look like like an even-ready ready event. Don't get me wrong, me and my classmates loved it and used it until the wee hours of the morning. It just could could be more inviting. I would also like to see double automatic doors to both lobby entrances and automatic doors from the lobby to the inside rooms. The restaurant could use a make-over. Modernized and more light. Adding ramps and automatic doors could push the hotels ratings much from 3 to 4 stars. Rock Springs is a rough hewn industrial city in the middle of the Red Desert. The beauty of the town is in the people and the insides of their homes and businesses. The OutLaw Inn is an excellent representation of Rock Springs' inner beauty. if your travels take you through Rock Springs stay at the Outlaw Inn.

« Great spot after a long drive. »

One stop hotel. Indoor pool, restaurant, bar, business center, rooms facing the pool- simple but nice and very quiet. Rooms were clean (and I am pretty picky) & the beds were also clean and really comfy. The only negative I can say is that they didn't have any luggage carts which was not very nice for a family with a bunch of bags & the free breakfast is served from 6am-9am. Would be nice to go on a little longer. I would highly recommend this place.

    « Unlawfully Good! »

Beautiful older Hotel here in pretty desolate country, And for the same reason its really nice to have an on-site restaurant and it also really helps that its REALLY GOOD! We looked over the menu and had room service deliver it. Very good food and reasonably priced. Our room, and most others over look the pool. Pool looked very nice, but I was way too tired from the road. Despite its age, the Hotel is very clean and well kept. All the staff was very friendly. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rock Springs.

« Amazing Place to Stay! »

I loved staying at this place on my road trip out west and back. It was welcoming, clean, super comfortable, great food, and incredible service. I will be back 100%. I went for a bike ride from the hotel and enjoyed exploring around the hotel. It was a total pleasure.

    « Wonderful Hotel »

Great hotel and service. Staff was good and room was very nice. Breakfast very good and my family enjoyed it. For some reason I have to write 200 words or it won't complete so there is nothing more I can write. This is s good hotel. I really really mean it

« Great place to stay in Rock Springs Wyoming »

We arrived late after a long day of travel. The Front Desk Staff was very nice and accommodating. And the breakfast the next morning was very, very good! I would recommend this hotel to all travelers driving through Rock Springs!

    « Relaxing stay! »

After an unexpected stop in Rock Springs on our way North, us three travelers were in search of a quiet, comfortable, clean hotel room available at...10pm at night with no reservation! The desk staff were helpful and cheerful and the hotel felt very safe and secure. The hotel room was well fitted with chairs, fun decorations, a mini-fridge, a luggage rack, and comfy pillows! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was accommodating and very friendly. I'd recommend this place to travelers looking for a reasonably-priced, quiet, comfortable hotel with food that will leave you stuffed and happy.

    « Fantastic stay! »

We were weary after a long drive and stopped for the night. This hotel is amazing with a heated indoor pool. The pool area is large and it makes you feel like you are outside. The kids loved swimming and we enjoyed relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!! The restaurant was fabulous and the complimentary breakfast was cooked to order. The food was very delicious! We definitely recommend Best Western Outlaw Inn!!

    « Clean comfortable stop »

I had been driving all day. I wanted a clean, comfortable room, with air conditioning, at a reasonable price. That's what I got. Easy to find off interstate. And with a good restaurant on site, I got all I needed.

    « Quiet and comfy »

Nice, pleasant welcoming area and staff to greet you. Full service restaurant on the premises. Comfortable beds. Great pool. Fitness Room. Phenomenal breakfast that was included in the price of the room. Very helpful staff and convenient to stores.

« Good Stay in Rock Springs, WY »

For a hotel that is close to a busy street, the rooms are surprisingly quiet. The heating and air conditioning work great and the beds are soft and the linens are clean. Can't ask for more than that :)

    « Nice hotel »

Great western theme in the hotel. Pool is in the center of the rooms--our son had the whole pool to himself. I really liked the setup of the room itself. Friendly staff--clean, easy to find off the interstate.

    « Creaky Bed »

The hotel staff was great. However, the mattress on our bed was older and more creaky than a haunted house. This hotel really needs to invest in some new mattresses. In addition, there is no ramp leading to the rooms on the lower level that are pool side. Carrying 2 heavy suitcases up and down stairs was no easy chore, although I guess I needed the exercise!

« Good hotel not the best value for the price »

This was maybe the third Best Western we had stayed at this month as we traveled about the Western US and I was taken aback when the price was so much higher than the others we had stayed at, with nothing added to make it worth more. Clean rooms with a nice bed, TV and cable channels, A/C and an ice machine.

    « Awesome Hotel »

Traveling through and always pick a Best Western. We stayed at a total of 7 BW Hotels on our cross country trip. This was our favorite; over the top. Breakfast was served restaurant style; we picked from a menu and served. Delicious, great waiter, and tasted great. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts we needed. I can't wait to go back and spend several days in Rock Springs and stay once again at this wonderful hotel.

We were greeted by the front desk clerk, Noah and he was excellent. Very friendly, professional and definitely knew his stuff about the hotel amenities. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. The layout of the hotel allowed us easy access to the very comfortable temperature of the indoor pool. It was clean and very nice. We had an INCREDIBLE Rib eye steak dinner at the restaurant, again, very close to our room. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!!

    « Enjoyable experience »

I didn't have a lot of contact with the hotel employees since I had a late arrival and early departure. The front desk employee was very courteous, helpful, and professional. The complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good with excellent service. In fact, if I was looking for a place to eat their restaurant would be an excellent choice. They have a full menu selection with good food, service at reasonable prices. The room is a bit old but clean and everything was in working order.

    « Outlaw Inn »

Nice clean convenient, pool very clean and welcome in the hot weather, very interesting old downtown area and museum. A good place to stay on the long Wyoming stretch of Interstate 80. Quite good Mexican food close by. Breakfast was excellent.

« Excellent place to stay »

This hotel was super clean, staff was clean cut, professional and courteous. Room was great and bed was very comfortable. The lounge, restaurant and pool area was a great extra. Free breakfast in the sit down restaurant was well prepared and we could not believe it was free. This place was safe feeling and made you feel at home. So glad we stayed there.

« Outstanding place to stay »

This hotel was a surprise to stay at. With the friendly staff and the restaurant attached it was quite welcome after a long day on the road. We had a wonderful dinner and a great nights sleep before starting out the next day.

« Returning home from vacation »

This is a place I recommend to stay! From the front door upon entering to the exit next morning, the staff was wonderful. Full service room: fridge, wifi...all the needed items. We slept our best there since leaving for vacation. The breakfast is THE VERY BEST!! I can't say enough about all the clean and comfortable amenities offered here at Best Western Outlaw Inn.

    « Good motel »

Nice facility, better than average fitness room, nice pool, good rooms. I was a little concerned to have a room facing the pool, thinking it would be noisy, but we didn't hear a thing. The restaurant had very good food, but was understaffed. Wait staff was very courteous and attentive but way overworked leading to slow service.

    « Excellent! »

The room, employees, restaurant & lounge were all beyond expectations. I left my IPhone in the room when we checked out. We were on vacation & on our way to Utah when Best Western called & informed me that they had my phone. They mailed it to me ASAP. I was so happy to have my phone back!!

« Nice room but bedding smelled strongly of chlorine »

We stopped here for one night on our way to Yellowstone and it was an okay place to break up the trip. We had a nice large room, ample parking, very clean. Breakfast in the morning was adequate and included, good coffee. The one negative I have to say is our bedding smelled strongly of chlorine, and it was hard to ignore. Other than that, I was satisfied with this property.

    « nice place »

i enjoyed everything.breakfast was really good, i had cereal and apples. there is lots of parking for trucks in the back. If i am in the area again, i will definitely stay here. This place has a western theme which is fun.

    « A Rock Springs Gem »

I just spend 5 nights at the Outlaw Inn with a large group. The people at the Outlaw Inn are friendly and welcoming and responded to every request. The hotel provided great facilities for meetings, receptions, and group dinners. The center room is open and full of sunlight and has a great pool for relaxing. We were treated warmly and I would definitely go back!

« At Home in Rock Springs »

Very clean to the detail! Everyone from housekeeping to the owners were super friendly and inviting; I felt like I was at home during my stay. The food was very good and the indoor pool was nice with lot's of natural light from the many skylights. The gym would be sufficient for most people (cardio machine and cable station). The only thing I would recommend is an effort to greenify and reduce waste: options to reuse towels/sheets/toiletries. I will stay again at the Outlaw Inn on my return to Rock Springs.

« Consistent Quality in Rock Springs »

I've stayed at the Outlaw Inn several times on business trips in the Rock Springs area. I've been impressed by the consistent quality of service and the friendly staff. The bar is a good place to eat dinner when I don't feel like going out to the mostly mediocre restaurants in Rock Springs, and the free, full service breakfast is a great deal. The only drawback for me is the small workout room. Overall, the hotel is unassuming, comfortable, and a good deal.

« Middle of the range Best Western »

Property is older; has stairs everywhere (to rooms, restaurant, etc.) and no elevator; food choices for breakfast in restaurant are a great idea (much better than the 'free' breakfast ordinarily offered at Best Western properties). The internet is painfully slow.

« Great place to stay in Wyoming! »

We stay here at least 4 or 5 times a year when we take a road trip from Washington state to Colorado and back. It is always very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable! One of our favorite things is the indoor pool, it is so inviting and we use it every time we stay. They also have a free full restaurant breakfast which is the best, lots of choices and great wait staff. On Tuesday and Thursday they have free drinks and snacks in the bar/lounge on site. Our favorite employee is Peggy G. who is an outstanding waitress and bartender. The manager Mark and the front desk staff are very pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend.

    « Just we'll run hotel »

I been staying hear for the past 5 years . This is always well managed and owned. A stay at this hotel is one you can say they get it. They understand the traveler as a family or business needs. You should get credit for a job well done. Thanks a traveler that enjoys a good night stay.

« The Best in the West »

You won't go wrong at the Outlaw Inn. The price is very reasonable. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. The restaurant and bar great! When I travel to Rock Springs, I always stay at the Outlaw Inn. The staff and management go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

    « Pretty darn good »

Overall a solid hotel. It's nothing fancy, but definitely does a great job at the basics: a clean room (including the bathroom), free parking, and a hot breakfast. The layout of the hotel is a little wonky, but there are signs pointing you in the right direction. The breakfast with the little papers you order on are a bit strange, but it all works out. It gives you lots of good food and the servers are all really nice. The front desk staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay here again

    « Wyoming Outlaw »

First time visit to this BW. It is a very old motel but still worthy of a visit. Just wished that it had been a bit easier to get up onto the 2nd floor. Replacing the back steps with a ramp and providing luggage carts would make a huge improvement. Also, as many old motel/hotels are finding out....there is not enough electrical sockets in rooms for all of today's devices. I was surprised that the breakfast serving was a satisfactory size and it was very good as well. I do think the rooms are priced a bit too high.

    « Kind of a strange place »

Judging by the other reviews, we thought this would be a fine place to stay. It was a little weird. The decor is dated. The layout is crazy. The room was OK I guess, seemed clean. The bathroom looked like it might have been recently updated, very clean and nice. The furniture seemed old, which is not a big deal, except for the little desk by the bathroom with a huge new black office desk chair that the arms wouldn't fit under the desk so it stuck out and blocked the doorway. That was weird. The ceiling looked like pressed spaghetti, kind of creepy and looked like it needed a few more coats of paint. The whole place smelled like swimming pool. I don't think I would stay here again, but all things considered it was not bad. Oh, the free breakfast may or may not have been strange, they give you a piece of paper with some breakfast choices on it (you may have one of these, choose any three of these, don't forget to tip the server) and I guess you go in their little restaurant or whatever it is...? We skipped it and went to Mickey D's.

« Great facility all around »

The hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Room was nice and cozy and the water pressure was good. restaurant was great food for dinner and breakfast. we were just passing through for medical reasons and this was convenient. I booked this through trip advisor and was not disappointed as usual.

« Best Western Outlaw Inn, Rock Springs, WYOMING »

This is an excellent hotel, with very good service and reasonable prices.I recommend it to all travelers. Bobbie in the restaurant, and Mark in the administration are two outstanding people with the hotel

« Would definitely stay here again »

Kevin at the front desk was awesome at check-in! Our room was very nice was clean, the bed was comfortable [king size] and breakfast was good - you only got to choose 3 items from menu but my husband and I each chose different items and then shared so it was great for us and we liked the food served fresh to our table.

« Best Western Rock Springs, »

Good motel, friendly staff and clean rooms. Good breakfast served in their restaurant. I would recommend this motel to any traveler. Parking is nearby and easy off I 80. I was driving a pickup with a trailer and was able to park near my room.

« Amazing Decor and People »

I have never stayed in a remodeled property that has been done so well in all ways. You know how it is...they take an older property and cover up the old stuff with a little decor and call it good. This is the first time I've stayed in such a place and believe it's BETTER than it used to be. Nothing is half-hearted. The decor is spot on, classy and delightful (cowboy theme). Everything worked just right. Most of all, I am impressed with the people here, from the caring and genuine desk clerk (Betty and another young woman) to the servers in the restaurant. In particular, one young person who knew I was here because my truck broke down on the way home from California...bought my dinner for me. These people don't seem as though they are here because they have to work. Kudos to management for making this possible. Whatever you are doing. Keep doing it. I'll be bragging about this place to everyone I know. I can't thank you enough for transforming a tough situation into a pleasure.

    « Great motel »

Rock Springs was a good stopping point but most of the hotels didn't have the best reviews...we picked The Outlaw Inn based on its TripAdvisor reviews...this was the cleanest room ever. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked great. There isn't much at this exit off of I-80, some gas stations and a few places to eat.

« Odd, old, very clean »

We stayed at this hotel as we passed through town. Arrived around 11:00 pm. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The set up of the hotel is odd, & decor is of an old western type theme. But to me cleanliness is most important and it was spotless! Free breakfast, but you go to the restaurant and they cook it fresh based off a checklist they hand out at check in. Very filling considering you only get a few choices. I would stay here again if I were to ever pass through town again. Fyi, booked through priceline...hotel will not match Internet (priceline) prices at check in so they told me to go ahead and book on priceline.

« Gem in Rock Springs »

Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant in Rock Springs. Make sure to try the Prime Rib!! The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable. The room rates are competitive and in my opinion the value for the price of the room is excellent. This hotel is a gem in Rock Springs WY.. I have stayed at other properties in Rock Springs in the past. Since staying at the Best Western first time 2 years ago it is the hotel of choice for me in Rock Springs. I travel extensively and am in hotels almost every week of the year. It is important to me to have a good nights rest. I always rest well at this property.

    « Great place! »

This motel was great, clean, quiet, shower worked wonderful. The made for you breakfast was tasty, and very fast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Located not far from the freeway was nice. It had a large pool. Television and Internet worked good.

    « Great Place »

A great hotel--true to the outstanding Best Western Brand. I like being able to park right outside the room, breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. First time in a Best Western in a long time. This is my new favorite hotel chain.

    « Worst experience ever! »

We stayed here for the state spelling bee. They charged my card two times for the stay. We went and showed the front desk where it was charged two times. They said they didn't charge my card twice and that I need to call the bank. They refused to make it right. We were supposed to stay two nights, but after they refused to make it right we asked if we could have our second night refunded and we would just check out instead of staying again. The president of the best western then had us escorted to our room to clear out our things. Never have I been mad feel like it was my fault when a business makes a mistake. I hope he takes some classes in customer service, he has no business working with the public!

    « Enjoyable »

the staff were very kind and friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, easy layout to navigate through facility, easy to find location right off the interstate, nice swimming pool restaurant and lounge we nice and quiet and clean

« Has all the amenities »

Great place to stay. Staff in hotel and restaurant a very helpful. Breakfast included in the room rate is a fresh cooked real deal. Having a restaurant, a good one, on site is a real plus. Dinner options are veried and tasty.

« Exceptionally clean and comfortable »

We were looking to stay for one quick night in a comfortable bed with clean rooms, and that is exactly what we found with the Best Western Outlaw Inn. The place was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was in good repair as well. I would love to have seen it when it was new. Now it just looks like it has been there for several years. But a new appearance is pretty low on my priorities when compared to cleanliness and comfort.

    « Best ? Western »

I expected a room for $!00.00 + to be more spacious and up to date. Room was drafty and the quilt on the bed was very heavy. No spare linens to replace heavy quilt were available. Room was so small that I had to straddle the commode to close the bathroom door. I am only 5'9" and 180 lbs.

    « Memorable »

Fifteen years since my last visit and just as great. This place has character. Everything was clean except the hard to reach dusty places and under the bed. Even under the rim of the toilet was clean. The pool has a nice two feet deep area with five feet at the other end. Water surface temperature was 80° Fahrenheit at 4p.m. with the air at 70°. Both dropped by three degrees by the time we swam again at eight. The bed was comfortable at first but left me with a sore back by morning. Breakfast was huge. Biscuits and cinnamon roll were a bit dense.

    « Nice hotel, bar & restaurant »

Great staff. Friendly & very helpful. Room was great, except for the little pebbles on the carpet between the beds. Beds were comfy.. Shower was great.. Cold floors in the bathroom but other than that, it was a great room. Continental breakfast was made to order & delicious!!

    « Valentine's weekend date »

My husband and I decided to miss the Valentine's Day crowd and celebrate the night before at the outlaw's restaurant. We both ordered the delicious prime rib and a bottle of wine. The wine was such a good price we almost bought two bottles! Our server Bradley gave the absolute best service we have received and he made this years Valentine's very special for us. We highly recommend stopping here to enjoy the prime rib special.

    « Great Stay »

A great place to stay! It has all you need - a friendly Staff, Restaurant, clean & comfortable rooms, plenty of parking, and great TV channel choices! It is located close to I-80 and if by chance, you "need" a different restaurant, there are plenty within a short walk or drive.

« Welcome refuge after a long days drive! »

Outlaw Inn is the best place to stay when making the grueling I-80 marathon. There was spacious parking for our 50-foot trailer combo. The front desk staff was impressive in seeing to our needs (and quieting the drunks around the pool at 11 PM). The room was adequate (standard B/W). The free, from-the-menu breakfast was great. A different front desk staffer was extremely helpful when it appeared that our rental truck had died, and we might be stuck there for a day, or more. Highly recommended, on all counts!

    « Spotless! Quiet! »

We made our reservations with Virginia before we left Kearney, Nebraska and she was quite pleasant to talk with and just as nice when we got to the hotel. And with the weather at 1' we figured that it would be great to stay at the Outlaw Inn again as we could stay inside the building and walk to dinner and breakfast! Room is spacious and neat and clean and I love the western decor. Meals were good and the made to order, and free breakfast, was excellent. Dinner I think was a little overpriced. The salad should be crisp and cold with no brown lettuce and the entree should not be served while the diner is still eating soup and salad. But, in the long scheme of things, that wasn't that bad! With the Palomino Inn in Grand Junction at $57 and free breakfast and this at $120 and free breakfast.....only the size of the room was different. BWs do get a bit pricey.

« Fun western details, open areas »

Stopped here in a blizzard and was pleasantly surprised. Comfortable beds, attractive decor and fun western details in the rooms. Large open meeting areas. Pool newly remodeled. This would be a great place for younger children. Very happy with breakfast. Custom made hot breakfast with wait staff at tables. My husband loved the large cinnamon roll. Only down side: rooms were pretty dark. More lamps or higher wattage bulbs would help.

« Basic facilities with a good dinning facility attached »

We stayed overnight at the Outlaw Inn and found the facilities good, clean, and more than adequate for our needs. The room was large and the bathroom well appointed. Reading the history of local outlaws at the dinning table in the evening was a highlight. The Inn is easily found and there is ample parking.

« Stay At Best Western »

I found this room very clean and there was everything I needed. I only encountered one person..the desk person. I did not get her name. She was helpful with check in. She was able to provide me with a discount which was very nice.

    « Great overnight stop. »

We arrived to what seemed like it might be a dud of a hotel. Checked in and had rooms poolside so the children could swim and we could watch from hotel rooms. We had an excellent dinner then a made to order breakfast. Everything about this stay was awesome.

    « Very nice »

I was surprised at how the inside and outside appearance are so different. The interior is updated and extremely comfortable. Restaurant was pretty good but I personally wish it wasn't so uptight and offered a more laid back environment for our small family. I would absolutely stay here again. Perfect retreat from a long day of traveling. Book on Priceline though. We saved quite a bit that way.

« Great place to stay! »

We've been here twice and love it. Great specials in the bar, friendly staff, clean rooms. Close to restaurants and shopping. On site restaurant/bar are great. Easy to get to - right off the interstate. We were there when roads were closed and staff had an ipad at the front desk so we could check road conditions.

« Nice retreat from the road »

Exceptional Counter and Restaurant staff, friendly, accommodating and congenial. Clean throughout, very much like the lay out. Easy access from I-80. Have an eatery within the facility and a three minute walk of the room was very convenient. Both meals were very good.

    « Fantastic Stay! »

Our company chose to have our company Christmas party at the Outlaw Inn and it was a great decision! Hotel accommodations were available at a great price and the catered dinner was top notch! Highly recommend trying the Open Range restaurant! Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and very inviting! Definitely will be back for personal stays! ??????????

    « Refreshing Stay »

My Boyfriend and I stayed here in September on our US Road Trip. After camping, it was the most pleasant surprise. We had a newly renovated room that was clean and comfy. The staff was very welcoming and got me to sign up for the rewards program. Best of all, we ate in the hotel restaurant and had some of the best service I've ever had! We ate like kings and were treated just so. This hotel made me a fan of Best Westerns. I just wish I remembered our servers name! Loved the theme, hopefully will be back someday!

« Great Food, Fun Bar, Impeccable Rooms & Helpful Staff! »

We stayed at The Outlaw the night before an early flight out of Rock Springs. We were tired from the drive and were grateful to find a clean and comfortable room waiting for us, as well as a nice restaurant and true western style bar on site. We saw some live music in the saloon, treated ourselves to a steak dinner, and slept soundly. The staff had even prepared grab-and-go breakfast bags for us since we had to leave the hotel at 5am. We will definitely stay here again when we fly out of Rock Springs!

    « NICE »

After driving all day from Deadwood, Sweetheart and me wanted a nice place to stay. We found that at Outlaws. We wanted a king room and we got it. (Not that there was any trouble. None at all.) The desk person was friendly and answered every one of my questions. Our room was real nice and appointed well. ( Better than some of the places we stayed that cost MORE.) The entire motel seems to be able to handle a nice sized convention or would readily be able to accommodate a wedding. Both complete with food, servers, etc. Way to go Outlaw's and Thanks for not holdin' us up.

    « Very friendly people »

Nice big place average amenities price for a Prime rib dinner a bit pricey for frozen everything but the over cooked prime rib. staff very friendly which makes up for in house restuarants always great bar to have a cocktail after a long trip get there for happy hour and it makes up for the dinner.

« Very nice for the price. »

The best Western being reviewed , is one that has outstanding service and support. I know it doesn't look like much from the outside but on the inside it has a strong western feeling and I like that. Being a rewards member helped me save some money on my stay, so you might want to take advantage of the savings as well. But as far my stay I liked it there, my room was an outdoor room so it took a little time to get it warm but it got right over time. The bathroom was nice and clean I had a excellent shower. All the amenities in the room were above average. I also came with fridge and microwave for your convenience. I also had a flat screen tv and plenty of channels. The bed had clean sheets and pillowcases, big fluffy pillows, and soft comfortable beds. You will sleep like a baby. The breakfast I had was excellent nice selection and it all taste good. So next I'm in the area I will be going back. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would be needing a stay. Safe travels. Where's Wooster?

    « Well-kept, well-managed, friendly, clean and comfortable hotel »

This is, bar none, the most well-kept, well-managed, friendly, clean and comfortable motel I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. I have now spent a total of seven nights there divided between two trips to Rock Springs this year. My room was impeccable, and the maids kept it that way. I was spending my days out trudging around and photographing the nearby Red Desert, and was always pleased to get back to the motel: it really felt as comfortable as home! Everyone employed at the motel, including all the wait staff in their restaurant, were incredibly friendly, and always went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The owner himself, Mark Anselmi, took time from his busy schedule to pull out maps and books to show me directions for reaching the rather obscure points I wanted to visit. I highly recommend the Outlaw Inn. I look forward to staying there yet again next spring.

    « Personal »

I was very happy with everything except having to use stairs, they do have a "lift" if you need it. Loved the food in the little restaurant, best fish I've had in a long time. There is a lot to see in this area, I wish I would have had more time to sight see.

    « Great Stay »

My family and I always stay at the Best Western Outlaw when traveling to Rock Springs. This hotel is always clean & quiet, the staff is courteous and helpful, and the breakfast is wonderful. If you need to leave early, the staff will prepare a sack breakfast for you, which is nice when traveling in the early hours of the day.

« A reliably good stay in Rock Springs »

We have probably stayed here at least 20 times, on the way to and from Yellowstone, and we have always enjoyed it. The rooms are clean and quiet, the staff are friendly and competent, and the free full breakfast in the restaurant can't be beat. One thing I noticed on this trip moderates my enthusiasm, however...they have recently redecorated the rooms and the wonderful wing armchairs have been replaced with hellishly uncomfortable barrel chairs with a faux snakeskin ottoman that can't be used because the chair lacks the back support that one would need to stretch out one's legs. Unfortunately these will probably be there forever, as they will never get worn out because no one can stand sitting there. Other than that, a great place to stay.

« Great Place to stay »

Great place, nice clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. The cook to order breakfast in the morning was a great improvement over the Holiday Inn generic breakfasts. Easy off the interstate and easy on, gas station next door. Rooms in the back were very quiet and it was a nice night.

    « Nice room »

I stayed here one night on my way to Grand Teton. Front desk staff was friendly and check-in was fast and easy. Room was on front side facing Elk Street. Was able to park right outside my room. Could hear street traffic during the day , but it was much quieter at night. Room was clean and well organized. Nice tv, desk, chair & ottoman, fridge, coffeemaker. Shower seemed new or very well-taken care of. Loved the new faucet and shower head. Decided to try the restaurant at the hotel, Open Range. Received excellent service, fast delivery of drinks and food by good wait staff - friendly but not annoying. Would stay here again.

« Great location off the Interstate with plenty of gas stations and resturants nearby. »

We stayed here for one night and found it interesting. Friendly staff and very clean establishment. We had an outside room on the back side, which insured it was very quiet. We were able to park our car about three feet from the door to our room so it was easy to unload and carry our bags into the room. The area was well lighted so it felt secure too. The room was very nice and clean. It was well appointed with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice chair and ottoman to relax in too. The wi-fi was good enough that we were able to FaceTime with our daughter and family. We did a trip advisor check for restaurants in the area and found that the one in the hotel had excellent reviews. We went there and the food and service was very good. I will do a separate review on the resturant. There is a huge open inner area that is used for conventions and we believe relaxing at the indoor pool during the winter. The inside rooms all face the two divided open areas. There was cold water available at the desk during the day and plenty of coffee in the morning. The breakfast was at the restaurant and was very good. You are given a slip listing the various items available for breakfast and you mark off what you would like and hand it to your server. It actually worked very well. Check out was a breeze and within a couple of minutes we were back on I-80.

« I always enjoy the Outlaw Inn »

The Outlaw is always a great place to stay. The hotel is recently remodeled and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Open Range restaurant and the Saloon have great food and libations! The TV and WIFI are good too.

Virginia set us up with a room next to each other for my 90 year old uncle and us. She couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. Newly remodeled and such friendly people! Parking is great easy access great location. Reservations were extremely easy. The area is pretty central to different cites and Green River.

« Tired and old but not too bad »

Room was fine, on site restaurant was fine, pool in the middle of the hotel not fine, very noisy, sound carries terribly, don't get a room anywhere near the pool. You have to walk thru the conference area to get to most rooms. No carts, didn't see any elevators. Ok, but for OK, expensive.

We have stayed at this facility a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have an indoor pool that is very handy for parents to watch their children. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant is where the breakfast is served and you get your choice of a very full menu that you fill out before hand. We would highly recommend this facility.

This motel really has the feel of Williston, ND. as much of the cliental was of the younger male working class who reminded me of outlaws. I would suggest getting a room on the inside were there is no outside doorways. The parking by the outside row of rooms tends to be a tailgate party area.

« Exceptional Staff, Clean Rooms, Nice Place »

I spend close to 100 nights/year in hotel rooms around the country. My stay at the Outlaw Best Western in Rock Springs with my family was exceptional. We arrived late and were greeted with a friendly smile. Our room was clean and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Free breakfast was great and again, the staff was extremely professional and courteous. I stay here whenever I can and have always had a very a very positive experience.

    « What a Delighful Find! »

We were tired and needed a room for the night and when we got off of the freeway we happened upon the Outlaw Inn and we are so happy we did! Virginia at the front desk cheerfully greeted me and got me a room with no hassle what so ever, while this is the way it should always be my experiences are often otherwise. She was delightful. The room was clean and comfortable which in the end is all that matters. We had dinner in the restaurant that night and it too was very good. Our waitress Tracy was terrific and turned me on to a new beer which I thoroughly enjoyed, she instantly became a friend for life. Her service was terrific and the food was well prepared, hot and tasty, just what we needed after a long day on the road. In the morning we found ourselves back at the same location in the hotel for breakfast. They have a menu of hot and cold breakfast foods that they cook to order (eggs, bacon, sausage, hot and cold cereals etc., juice and coffee) and it is part of the nightly rate. We sat down a waitress took our order and the food arrived fresh and hot a few minutes later. Nothing like what most of us are used to where breakfast consists of microwave sausage sandwiches, bizarre make it yourself waffles and pre-cooked eggs which are already dry by the time you serve yourself. Amazing. Upon check-out, Kelly at the front desk was on par with Virginia who checked us in, friendly and proficient. Overall, I cannot say enough about the Outlaw Inn, it was a gem in the middle of Wyoming.

This was a uniquely set up hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but was lacking electrical plug-ins for charging of cell phone and computer. The breakfast was very good. Serviced in a restaurant like setting and food cooked fresh. Enjoyed that after having basically same food offerings at several previous hotels. Friendly staff. Enjoyed happy hour in the lounge after check-in.

This Best Western was a great place to crash and relax after a 500 mile drive through Nebraska and Wyoming. My wife wishes that there had been a hot tub, our only noted negative comment about the establishment. Great personal service from the front desk to assist in moving luggahe up the 8 steps to our room.
