    « Perfect.. »

Great location.Easy walk into town and to the beach. Dont be fooled by the exterior. Beautiful rooms which are clean, modern and large especially for a family. The shower is amazing.. ? Great affordable accommodation.

    « Good »

Place is tidy, clean and quiet. Bathroom is very small but not too much of a hinderance. They advertise Foxtell but only 5 channels work and they are mostly news. Other than that quite a nice place to stay in a good part of town

    « Clean & comfortable »

This motel was very clean, quiet and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, walking distance to everything. Lovely staff on reception. Very friendly. I would recommend this motel .

    « A good hotel »

I am an American travelling through Australia. Robe is a small, quiet beach side town in South Australia. I found the Best Western through Trip Adviser. I find Australian hotels more expensive than those in the US. This hotel is similar to a mom and pop hotel in the US in the 1970s. The room was clean and functional. The bed and bath were excellent. The Wifi worked well. It is not a luxurious, but I had a great night. I would be happy to return.

« Central and close to all »

A well presented and tidy motel ; close to the foreshore and town; you could walk most places ( it is a small town ); the staff were pleasant and most helpful Parking outside the motel room and on one level

« Repaint is not renovate »

The low point of our 2 weeks in South Australia. Robe is a beautiful town, but our accommodation was a let down. We booked for the Easter weekend and had no option but to stay. There was nothing else to be had. I should have seen it as an omen when we were given Unit 13. The building looked OK, if a bit old on the outside. On entering we were faced with a kitchenette that looked like a 60s housing commission unit. The hand painted, plywood style cupboards supported a rough and apparently old sink, complete with scratches, dents and a bare, unplated brass sluice drain outlet. The work bench attached had a metal edge lifting off and curling outward. Quite unsafe. In the main area, the second of two sofas had a 20cm split along the top from which bulged a ?hernia? of yellow foam stuffing. I tripped while entering the bedroom because the carpet join had separated and was sticking up a couple of centimetres. The first bedroom window had a warning sign saying that we could expect serious physical injuries if any attempt was made to operate the window. The window in the other bedroom, although with no warning sign, didn't operate properly either. Half of a smoke alarm was situated over the main area of the unit and the towel rail in the main bedroom fell off the wall at the first touch. With its sticking doors and dripping taps, we did a lot more site seeing than we had planned, rather than stay in and get depressed. Re-painting definitely doesn't mean renovating. Very bedraggled. On the plus side, we did have a new fridge and the manager, Megan, was very helpful and pleasant.

    « Good value »

The accommodation is a little dated; walking in you feel like you've stepped into the 1980s but apart from that it was great. Clean, self-contained and friendly staff. Great value for money. Well located too.

    5
« Great location central to all amenities in town »

Great motel within walking distance to the quirky little historic town of Robe. Rooms are extremely clean and well maintained and hosts Megan and Matthew are the friendliest couple you'll ever find, happy to accommodate your every need. Free wifi was fast and steady and on site parking is a bonus. Bed for the night was super comfortable and couch in room was bonus, great for relaxing while watching TV. All in all a great place to stay when in Robe.

    4
    « GOOD/CLEAN/FRIENDLY/GREAT LOCATION & GREAT WIFI »

The 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and very clean. Loved the size of the fridge and TV. If I could complain about one thing we both felt the bed was rock hard (love a bed with mattress toppers on it) I particularly woke very stiff through the shoulders. But that was all. Great location for walking around this gorgeous town.

« Was ok for one night »

Stayed for one night and it was enough. Room is very basic, but there was full kitchen, which I didn't expect. Had brief trouble with toilet running late at night, so I turned off the water. Next day was better. Off street parking in assigned space was a bit strange.

    « Nice Place »

We stayed for 1 night when driving East to West, A friendly helpful reception, good sized comfortable and clean room. Good location for the town, beach and walks. The kitchen was basic and needs a little attention, not well equipped, We were able to cook a basic meal. This is a good value location and I would stay here again if ever in the area.

    5
    « Passing through »

Lucky there was a room available. Very clean. Spacious with a kitchenette .would be great to stay longer . Manager very friendly and helpful. This hotel us right near the beach . Free parking and Wi-Fi.

« Good spot when staying in Robe »

This is a tidy motel based in Robe. They are in the process of updating rooms. We had an older style, but still very serviceable. The rooms are self-contained units, so there is some cooking facility as well.

    4
« Could stay here again »

Room is nice and very clean. Good standard. Room is a little small.. Very serviceminded and helpful frontdesk. Location is also good, both near the marina and restaurants on the main street. If returning to Robe , we will stay here again.

    « Facilities great...location the best »

Booked online with no dramas. Deluxe room was one which had been renovated and had everything you needed. We only stayed two nights but a longer stay would still be just as comfortable. Nice decor, comfy bed, very nice bathroom with quality fittings and a beaut shower. New air con unit worked well. Nice outside area with lawn, bbq, lounges and umbrellas. Very quiet place to stay. Close to all facilities around town. Really nice and helpful manageress. Definitely would come back.

    4
« Good, no fuss motel accommodation »

We stayed for 2 nights across the long weekend in a self-contained one bedroom apartment. The living area was roomy and the kitchen small but had everything we needed to cook some basic meals. The bathroom had a constantly trickling toilet which was a bit annoying but was very clean, as was the rest of the apartment. Only disappointment was the air conditioning which didn't seem to work very well and our bedroom had neither a ceiling fan or air conditioning. The Melaleuca isn't fancy but it's in a fabulous spot, has everything you need and the owners are really lovely people. We'd stay again. Recommended.

    3
    « Ok for a stop over »

Check in was great the man on reception (owner?) was very helpful and informative. Car parking was easy unloading outside the room. Room was quite spacious and had everything as advertised. The bathroom was very small and had a sliding door which had no lock on it and was not connected at the bottom so did not feel very secure. Bed ok but not great.

    4
    « One night stopover »

Wish we had booked more than one night. Super motel. Ideally situated near sea front and restaurants. Lovely room, clean, comfortable bed and newly refurbished to a very high standard. We had a really warm welcome and given lots of information about the town. Would most definitely recommend this motel.

    4
    « Family Christmas trip »

We stayed one night at the hotel in a two bedroom apartment. It was fairly clean, a little dated, but had what we needed. It was a close walk to the beach and Main Street which was good. Friendly staff. The water though in the shower was affected hot or cold if someone in another room was using the water such that it changed about 3/4 times while we were in there.

    4
    « Very welcoming owner. »

I was very happy with the welcome I got when I arrived, so much so that we ended up chatting for about 15 minutes, mainly about traveling in Europe and Budapest in particular. The room was right by the check-in desk, which made offloading baggage a cynch. Parking towards the rear was covered and room designated. There were obvious security cameras in place too, which is always reassuring. The room itself was good and clean and a modern bathroom. My only gripe was that the bedroom/living room curtains never quite closed, or at least 7 or 8% open. An upgrade would be in order. Otherwise an enjoyable experience.

    « Great Location »

The Melaleuca Motel is in a great location, just park the car and walk to the beach, the CBD and the pubs. I stayed in a recently refurbished 2 bedroom unit with a friend and there was plenty of room for both of us. The kitchen is fully equipped so ideal for families. There's a queen bed in main bedroom and 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom. The beds were comfortable and light switches next to the bed were handy. Modern bathroom is roomy and a full sized hairdryer is provided. Megan and Matt in reception were lovely and happy to make recommendations on local attractions. Good value overall.

    3
    « Stone's throw from a stunning beach »

This is a very convenient motel enroute to Adelaide from Melbourne. The rooms are clean and spacious. Internet is fast and can support streaming. However, the bathroom could do with a refurbishment - the dreaded old plastic shower curtain and taps difficult to regulate temperature of the shower! Another problem here is that you can hear every sound, especially shower and toilet flushing, from adjoining chalets. Other than that, good for an overnight stay.

    4
    « Travelling along coast, »

Super location very close to breathtaking walks along the rugged coastline. Accommodation is clean, modern and fully self contained. Washing machine and drying facilities if required. We would have stayed longer if we had known it was such a super Motel and were not on a tight schedule. Megan on Reception was so helpful and pleasant in telling us about the lovely walks and places of interest in the area. Enthusiasm and friendly service is appreciated by guests.

« Old style, but very good inside »

This 1950's style motel's appearance hides recently renovated rooms. Our room has had a recent makeover. It has a small but modern bathroom and a small but nicely furnished motel style room with a two seater lounge. The only down side was that the most comfortable place to watch tv was from the bed. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and it's only a short walk to the two hotels and restaurants.

    2
    « 1970's Motel »

This was the poorest hotel of our 2 week trip. Curtains that did not close to provide privacy, plug that meant the kettle could hardly be used, tiny shower room you can hardly turn around, decor tired and in need to thorough renovation. Bed was comfy though. Not recommended.

    3
« ok for a one night stay »

motel was close to a hotel on the waterfront which served good meals. Average rooms small tv no foxtel small bathroom be prepared to back onto the toilet if you are a little bigger than average shower water is an interesting problem trying to regulate the water

    1
« If your bigger than a size 14 you wont be able to use the toilet!! »

Would not stay here again. The bathroom was as big as a closet. I am a 14 dress size and struggled to use the toilet. Couldnt get hot water in the shower. The onle way to fill the kettle was to take a cup into the bathroom sink. The bed linen was clean. But thebed was so uncomfortable that i had to take painkillers the next morning. Such a shame because it is the prettiest town I have visted in South Australia. pretty pretty town.

« Returning to the town of memories »

In the 42 years my husband and I have been together, Robe was the very first place we had a break away. The Melaleuca Motel has over the years been a favoured place to stay. We were not disappointed on our recent stay. The motel is undergoing a range of upgrades and has maintained its clean, comfortable and friendly feel to it. Our room was spacious and well set out with a small kitchenette and catering facilities. The owner is a friendly young woman who made us feel welcome. We will return no doubt again to our favourite South Australian holiday destination. The only minor criticism is the shower was a little disappointing. Overall a lovely place and represents value for money.

    4
    « very relaxing »

the motel stay was enjoyable ..The managers Meagan and Matt were very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and tidy..We had in the room a queen bed and a single, full kitchen , it was sufficient for our needs.. There was a large car park for reach unit, and a big BBQ area out the back with a large lawn for kids to run around.. Close to the beach about 3 mins walk and within walking distance to other places to eat, the pub ,chinese across the road and maybe 15mins walk to main street

    4
    « Great location »

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights recently. This is an older style Motel but has been updated and the rooms are very clean. We had an apartment with full kitchen and made use of the facilities. The Motel is very well positioned to the lovely beach nearby and also the Robe Hotel, where we went for an evening meal. Lovely hosts made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again.

    « OK Motel »

Nice quite Motel for a night, better than average country motel. Extremely helpful staff, which makes any stay great. The room was clean, nice decor, a typical 1980's hotel room. Would stay again for sure. Avoid the Robe Hotel for gluten free meals, it was the worst meal I have had in years. I am sure the chicken was reheated in a microwave, was like eating a piece of rubber, however my wife's meal was excellent.

    5
« Top location, close to everything »

Melaleuca Motel is close to the beach, shops and hotel,. Excellent facilities in a large room. Clean, neat and tidy with a super comfortable bed and stylish bed linen and cover. Very nice! Kitchenette was adequate for a holiday, large fridge was much better than a bar fridge! We loved this place and would highly recommend it. We hope to re-visit at another time.

    5
    « Great stay »

Super friendly staff. Superb location and great facilities in the room. Yes it's in need of updating but they make the most of what they've got. The room were very clean, tidy and great care had been taken in its presentation. Robe is a lovely small seaside town with a super friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

    5
« Best location in town. »

Best location in town, 100 metres to beach, 200 metres to town and 100 metres to the Robe Hotel for excellent quality and well priced meals. Motel was clean, comfortable and all facilities supplied were in excellent condition. Free parking, free in room tea, coffee and biscuits and free Wi Fi. The continental breakfast provided was awesome, Megan delivered this to our room the night before so as we could head off early the next morning. No hesitation in recommending the Best Western Melaleuca Robe.

    4
    « Good motel »

This is a typical motel which will be familiar to you if you have travelled in the US. No frills but great welcome, clean room, well equipped, and breakfast served in the room if you want it. The motel is well positioned and makes a good break for those driving the Great Ocean Road route from Adelaide to Melbourne.

    3
    « Disappointed! »

Our room was old fashioned and needed updating. The curtains didn't fit properly so the light came in at night. A bit noisy as we could hear the people talking in the next room. The bathroom measured approx 8ft by 2 1/2ft so very small - you need to be fairly small to sit on the loo! Poor shower - no shampoo - bottle empty. No little body lotions. Hostess was lovely. Would not stay again.

    5
« Roomy and close to the town centre »

We found this to be a very comfortable motel. The size of the rooms is very generous by today's standards. The room was freshly painted with colourful beach-themed artworks and matching bed linen. The motel is a short walk from the waterfront and restaurants.

    5
    « Great little town »

One of the cleanest motels we've stayed in for a long time. Not the most modern but everything we needed was in the room, the bed very comfortable and the guest laundry a welcome necessity. The owners are a great couple who went out of their way to assist residents and their little kitten was a delight to watch as it chased over the grass!! Will be back here is we ever get back to Australia.

    3
    « Adequate Motel »

Nice little motel not far from centre of town! Old fashioned but adequate for a brief stay..lovely garden at the back where we enjoyed fish & chips that were really yummy! You would not want to be over weight to stay here as the bathroom is very small!

    3
    « Basic »

We thought the location was quite good, walking distance to the sea and into the town. Reception friendly and helpful on arrival, gave us a map and marked out places to walk and places to eat. The room although a good size and clean was very dated and in bad need of modernisation, our room had a double and single bed, a sofa, table and chairs, fridge and microwave, plus tea/coffee making facilities, we were passing through and only stayed a night but would have been very disappointed if we were staying longer. Management- if you are updating in the future, consider moving the kitchenette area into the dressing area of the room

    « Good Value »

Stayed for three nights.Comfortable spacious room.Staff helpful and friendly. This is a very good mid ranch accommodation. With tea coffee microwave and fridge facilities. Located within 5 minutes of main Street.

    4
    « Great Little Motel »

Room was MASSIVE! Spotless. Laundry facilities were brilliant and well priced too. Staff helpful and suggested places to see. The Lighthouse and the Gaul ruins are very picturesque. Good location to be able to get into town quickly by car or walking.

    4
    « Comfort »

Lovely family room clean and fresh. Quiet nights sleep. Highly recommend Parking aplenty and good restaurant choice close by. Staff helpful too. Heating in room made for comfortable stay as weather unseasonably cool

    5
« Great hotel in a great spot! »

Lovely staff, lovely touches and a great location.....good to have full cooking facilities too! Close to just about everything in Robe so this hotel pretty much covers everything.....couldn't do better!??????

« MG CAR GROUP WEEKENDER »

We reserved our car group at the Melaleuca Motel for the weekend 21 - 23 September2016. The group were all very happy with the standard of rooms and cleanliness and facilities of the property. I stayed in the lead in room type and the daily housekeeping and standard of the room went beyond the price paid. Bed linen fresh and modern and the tea, coffee facilities, toaster and microwave made it very easy to prepare a light breakfast. Location of the motel was excellent, a street behind the Robe Hotel and also at the end of the street the boardwalk around the boat marina. The motel is within easy walking distance to other cafes and town facilities. Would recommend this property to my clients as I am a Travel Agent. I would also return as a guest again. Compliments to the Management! Thanks for a wonderful weekend! Wendy Sauer Phil Hoffmann Travel, Norwood SA

    « Friendly Stay »

Visited in early September. It was cold outside but the welcome was very warm. Exceptionally friendly and helpful we were made to feel at home straight away. We had some trouble with the heating but straight away assistance was at hand to sort it out and soon enough the room was warm. The room was spotless and the wifi was good, the bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep. thats all you can ask for but the owners were great with advice for the local area. Parking was on site, there was a laundry and the room was accessible for my wife who was in a wheelchair. It was very good for our one night on our road trip but I would have been happy to have stayed longer

    5
    « Awesome !!! »

Awesome place to stay !!! Would highly recommend. Room was very clean and comfortable. Very quite and lovely surroundings. Lots of great information given about places to eat and things to look at. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and could not be more helpful. They even had electric blankets as when we visited it was cold.

    5
« Great Central Location - Walking Distant to Pubs and Cafes »

My wife and I have stayed here before and that's why I returned with two mates. The Family Apartments are fantastic and very clean and roomy. Only a quick walk to both hotels and the cafes and shops. The owners are friendly and very welcoming. This is going to be my place to stay on all trips to Robe.

    3
    « Functional »

Average motel in good location. It served a purpose for a one night stay and was better priced than many other properties in the area. If you go in the off-season it can be a bit chilly as no carpet in main area.

    5
    « Very good motel »

This is a very nice motel, with everything you would expect to find in a good motel. The room is very large, and there is a lounge, table and two chairs which are always welcome. I would be very happy to stay here again.

  • 4
« Seaside clean and welcoming »

Great quite location 1 street back from foreshore. Very clean, but decor a bit dated. comfortable and off street parking. welcoming staff with good information and a very friendly nature. Overall basic but good value for money. Will come back.

    4
    « Great location »

A great location close to the beach and lovely walks. The room was clean and spacious. A basic motel room nothing fancy. Sleeping in the same room as a refrigerator is weird though - we had a room with a kitchenette

    4
« Good one night sleepover »

The room was fine, although the bathroom was a bit small. Staff friendly and helpful. Offered a map at check in, with some ideas for places to eat. Breakfast was delivered to the room promptly at the requested time, consisting of cereal with fresh milk, bread to make toast (there's a toaster in the rooms) with butter and jam, and fruit juice.

    4
« Great motel stop over »

As a stopping point along our drive from Adelaide to Melbourne, this motel was ideal. Set just back from the main through road it was quiet, with a well appointed motel style room. Bed was big and comfy, with a second single bed adjacent. Setter, small table and chairs and a two seater set outside where we sat for breakfast in the morning Sun. Breakfast was pre-ordered and delivered to the room . Reception staff Megan very helpful with advice on where to eat and places of interest. The room itself was a good size and clean. Basic motel style. Painted breeze block walls, dated bathroom. All in all, a perfectly fine place for an overnight stop over in a picturesque town.

    3
    « Such a disappointment this time »

We' d stayed here before in a perfectly Ok regular room, so it was a great disappointment to find that our two room apartment was such a step down. Crowded, gloomy, in need of a major uplift, with crumby uncomfortable couches and unforgiving chilly tiled floors. Throw in skimpy thin towels and the experience just faded into mediocrity. How sad....just not up to Best Westeren Standards, though the staff were very helpful. We'll look elsewhere for our next trip to Robe.

    5
    « good stay »

For a motel we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and the room very big and clean. They need to get rid of the breezeblock walls that are painted; if they do the room would have been excellent.

    3
    « It did it's job! »

Your average motel with rooms that could do with a total renovation. They use a "water efficient" shower rose which I had to remove to have a decent shower. This motel is within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and the beach/sea. Robe is a lovely little hamlet if you enjoy nature and a peaceful environment at the sea.

    5
« Perfect hotel for this lovely area »

My wife and I decided to stay in Robe as it seemed such a lovely place to break our journey from Adelaide to Melbourne. Perfect. The welcome at the hotel was just great and the room with spa lovely, they even recommend an excellent restaurant for us. Just superb.

    3
    « Typical roadside motel »

Dated rooms, old appliances, wishes that didn't totally close. This is your basic inexpensive roadside motel only it happens to be quite pricy. I am confused with their room terminology. I had a reservation for a standard room and ended up in a self service apartment. I don't think this is as central as others have stated. It is not a long wall to the CBD but this is on the edge and other places are undeniably closer. Staff was helpful and friendly. Fir all the wear the room was clean and most things worked. Phone did not. There appeared to be ample parking.

    3
    « OK for stopover »

This was our first stop on our travels from Adelaide to Melbourne and after the Playford Hotel is was a bit of a let down. It was clean but very basic and we had been told that if we left any dirty cups etc. we would be charged $25 for washing up after we had left (this was other guests not the management that told us that). Robe was very disappointing because there is very little to do here and to get a meal after 8pm at night is very difficult. Glad it was only a stopover.

  • 3
« Great location, average accommodation »

The Best Western is in an excellent location in Robe with the beach and town only a few minutes walk. It is a case of being able to park your car here and then do everything on foot which is nice. The units are dated, basic and small however they clean though our unit was not cleaned on the first day and I had to chase up cleaning with Reception on the afternoon of the second day which was a concern. The managers however were very friendly and helpful with local tips and recommendations. We did stay over the New Year period and were woken up two nights in a row by noisy, drunk revellers banging on windows of other units for up to 20 minutes which is not great when you are staying here with two young children. After a late booking and securing this accommodation from a limited selection we will definitely come back to Robe but will book earlier and spend more to stay elsewhere.

    5
    « Just the job »

Stayed here on our road trip to Adelaide. Very efficient and friendly service, nice spacious rooms and everything pretty much as advertised. Good position for the beaches and main shops. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to others passing this way. Robe is a quiet place (in early December at least) and a nice stopover for a day or two.

    5
« Very lovely, unpretentious and supremely comfortable »

We had been planning to revisit Robe for a longer trip for many years. When we arrived without booking and sought a twin room, the proprietor suggested a very reasonably priced two bedroom apartment, so we elected to stay three nights. The apartment was a little dated, but wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet and very convenient to Robe's attractions. Robe has morphed from a Pub/Hamburger/Fish and Chips sort of town to having some remarkably fine dining (No.4 is to die for, especially their breakfast of scrambled egg and lobster). Pricing was very reasonable. Whilst we got lucky, out of season, I'd suggest booking ahead. Robe seems to be very busy, even outside the peak tourist times.

    3
    « convenient and ok »

The location of the hotel was ok for the night we stayed there whilst travelling the GOR. Lovely village and waterside, good restaurants; hotel did a job nothing more. Room was a motel apartment large enough but again did what it said on the advertising; reception fine although we had to park in the correct numbered space no where else.

    3
    « Basic but clean »

Very basic but clean accommodation - the walls were painted brickwork and the floors tiled. Minimalist with little furniture in bedrooms other than wardobes. There was A/C and a T/V in the main living room but none in the bedrooms (we had a 2 bedded unit). If you use the crockery you must wash and dry this yourself otherwise a A$25 charge applies. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

    3
    « Basic accommodation »

Stayed here on third night of our Great Ocean Road trip. Room was basic, but clean; comfortable bed and all the facilities worked. Toilet/shower area very small and the sliding door arrangement left a lot to be desired.

    4
    « Passing through »

Stopped here while driving the great Ocean road, nice motel very friendly people room was OK standard but clean and Robe is such a lovely place to stay and look around while driving this way and definitely worth stopping over in

    4
    « Pleasant Stay »

A very nice standard, no frills motel. The rooms were not modern but very clean. We had a 2 bedroom room which was lovely and spacious. Good location for walking into the main restaurant/pub area of Robe.

    2
    « Robe stopover »

Motel room(not the apartment) was very small. Bathroom had inadequate space around shower, vanity (no 240vac) and toilet area. TV shelf protrudes into room causing head bumping. Sliding door bedroom to bathroom not convenient. Very poor value for rates charged. Indicated to the friendly young managers that the motel block would be better off being demolished and more modern units built. Not what was expected from a Best Western motel.

    5

We were greeted with genuine warmth and lots of helpful advice about where to eat, as we had arrived at dinner time. We were delighted to find we had been upgraded to an apartment. We could happily have stayed a week, but unfortunately we only had one night here. The location is perfect. Our apartment was well appointed and it was great to have a separate bedroom and a spa. There was heaps of room and even a small kitchen. Would highly recommend for families as well as couples.

    « Excellent value »

We wanted a spacious and comfortable place for a few nights. It didn't need to be luxurious. This was perfect. Great value for money, scrupulously clean, walking distance to excellent eating and drinking establishments, quiet and comfortable. A bit 1960s in decor, but we aren't interior designers and we wanted space rather than ponce. Thank you, you did what we needed.

Exc ellent servcie. We booked late and arrived late. Megan was very friendly and waited for us to arrive. Very helpful and welcoming - she was happy to see us. The room was excellent: Well set out and very clean.Very easy to get to and made it easy to travel the town and see the sights. Love the big bath for my tired old legs. The water was only just drinkable but everywhere else was the same

« Excellent location, clean and comfortable »

We stayed at Melaleuca on our way from Port Fairy. It was a great choice in a really good location. Clean and comfortable and a small block from the waterfront for an early morning stroll. Excellent service from friendly check in staff. Apartments highly recommended as a self catering choice in Robe.

« Excellent place to stay »

Stayed at this motel for two nights whilst in Robe. Upon arrival were greeted by very friendly staff who personally ame and showed us our room. The room was moderate in size with a able an chairs and a couch and queen size bed with still plenty of room to move. Very clean and smelt good and not stale as some motels so it obviously is well cleaned and aired out. The bathroom is very small and there is a distinct lack of hanging space for towels and washers. There is body wash and liquid hand soap supplied but no shampoo or conditioner. Some minor maintenance issues such as a very noisy sliding door. Otherwise very comfortable and the staff were helpful in their knowledge of the area. Continental breakfast only.

    « cheap option »

we werent travelling for the purpose of luxury, it was ore like a neccesity trip, therefore staying in a motel seemed like a better option than a hotel. overall, it was worth the money and served its main purpose, not much to complain about!

Great customer service. Great quality accommodation - fresh decor, really clean, really comfortable and walking distance to everywhere. The new owners say they still have lots to do. That will push this 3.5 star even closer to 4.
