    « Great Hotel »

Stayed there for one week April 7-14 2018 r-408 , this is a great place, very friendly staff.Great Food,Great Breakfast.Housekeeping Staff did a great job. it is located in a good, spot.Short walk to the Copacabana Beach, plenty of Restaurants near trouble getting anything from the bar, Air condition in room was great, i purchased power adapters for world wide use and worked great,i am looking forward to next year when ill be there for two weeks. i purchased this hotel with flight from delta.very happy with this hotel.

« Very good hotel in great location »

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. The hotel is located in a perfect position, 2 blocks away from Copacabana beach (hotel offers FREE sun loungers, bikes and Towels for the beach) There are numerous places to eat on the doorstep. The tube station (Cardeal Arcoverde Linha 1) is just across the road, we used the subway to visit Christ the Redeemer, got off at Largo do Machado, then caught a bus which stops directly outside. Our room was quiet small, but we never had a problem, the main thing was that it was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was adequate. Should be return to Rio, we would definitely stay again. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

« Great Breakfast and Location, Thoroughly Lacking Elsewhere »

My husband and I stayed here a week while visiting Rio. We don't normally stay at Best Westerns but we thought this would be a fine middle-of-the-road accommodation. First, the positives: 1. We arrived early and the hotel had no problem storing our bags and letting us change in the bathroom so that we could explore and kill time until our room was ready. 2. The breakfast was great! Although it was the same pretty much every day, it had great variety for both my husband and myself and the women running it were almost always very efficient in filling items that were getting low. I left full every morning and usually wasn't hungry again until late afternoon. I miss the carrot cake every morning since I've been home. 3. The location if you want to be in Copacabana is unbeatable. The area is safe, you are two blocks from the beach and directly across the street from the metro which will pretty much get you anyplace else you want to go. When we used Uber they had no problem finding us. 4. Free bottled water every day. The bad: 1. There was only one woman at the reception desk who was friendly. Most didn't even say hello and almost seemed to avoid having to assist you. We asked for a map of the area but they were "out." 2. Although we were lucky and got a handicap accessible room (it was huge), it definitely had its issues. The door handle to the bathroom frequently fell off and once my husband got locked inside. If I hadn't been in the room he would have been stuck. 3. Room service came when they felt like it. Some days the room was clean by noon, other days we came back at 6pm and there was still sand all over the floor and the room hadn't been touched. We made sure our do no disturb light wasn't on. It wasn't. 4. We asked the front desk on day for a knife to cut a pizza we got that wasn't cut. We waited 40 minutes. My husband went back downstairs to ask again. The front desk man shrugged and said he would put in another order. Thankfully a manager was nearby and just got us one from the kitchen. 5. The room views are awful. It's a square building and we looked straight into other rooms so we could never sit in our room with the curtains open. Overall, the hotel was fine but the customer service was some of the most subpar I have ever seen. I was surprised a BW lets their employees act this way. If I had to stay again for a week I would probably pick something very close by because the location is great but I just couldn't put up with that location again.

    « Very uncomfortable - unsuitable »

We were really looking forward to Rio but this hotel was a huge disappointment. Carpets in the corridors looked worn and dirty. Our room had marks on the walls. The room itself was very small for a couple. A protruding mirror on the base of the headboard prevented you being able to sit up comfortably in the small (very hard) double bed. We had 2 suitcases as we were in South America for 2 weeks. We were unable to store these out of the way in the room. There was not enough storage space to unpack and hang all our clothes. The bathroom was tiny - almost had to ?shoehorn' yourself into it. The air conditioning was very ineffective due to where it was located. The room was therefore hot at night even with the air con on. The adaptors in the wall are the new ?Brazilian' standard only. The usual world wide adaptors are of no use here. The hotel advertises a bar and a restaurant. It turned out that the restaurant was only for the meagre breakfast buffet. The only other way to get food at the hotel was by room service but there is no furniture in the room to enable you to eat in some degree of comfort. The hotel advertises a bar. This turned out not to be a bar you go in and get a drink at. It was just used to stand the breakfast buffet items on. No one ever stood behind the bar so presumably drinks (if any available) would have been via room service only. Our room overlooked a scruffy back street. We asked to move to a larger room but were told by reception that all the rooms were the same. The pictures of the rooms and the services listed for this hotel bore no resemblance to what we found. I hope this is not the new Best Western standard (but I will be writing to their Head Office to ask) as we have stayed at some good hotels of theirs in the past. We would not be able to recommend staying here to anyone, unless comfort was not high on their list of priorities. Happily we were eventually able to move somewhere else and did get to enjoy Rio.

    « Standard chain accommodation »

To put this in context, we stayed during Carnaval, and paid ~ £180 a night. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Maps of the local area were provided and things for the beach (towels and chairs) and bikes could be borrowed for free. The room was very small, no complimentary water in the room, no shower gel, very noisy air con (which dripped) and the fan didn't work in the bathroom so the towels stayed wet and made the room a bit damp. Breakfast was ok with a selection of fruits, meat and cheese, a couple of hot things and pastries. It could get very busy later on with people queuing for tables. Location was excellent! Right across from a metro station and a short stroll from the beach. There were quite a few places to eat and drink nearby and lots of shops selling the essentials. In all, we probably would stay here again, but would expect to pay less than half the price if not during Carnaval.

« Denyed to use toilet at the recption »

I just came out of the Best Western Design in Copacabana- with two italian friends- they wanted to go to the toilet, and we made a stop at this place. I do understand they do not have to offer their toilet to the general public, but once one stops there, it would be polite and also would make a difference in customer services. Because instead of writingg this so true disapoointing review, I would be saying how welcoming they are. #ficadica!

« Not good for two friends traveling together »

The rooms at this hotel are very small, and only suitable for a couple or one person. We asked for two double beds, and paid extra, but they just stuffed a twin trundle bed into the room! When we asked for the room we booked, they said that all the rooms are the the website was completely wrong and false. There was no room to put our suitcases or walk around the room! See my photos for a visual. The drain in the shower would not drain and so water would sit for 10-15 min, during and after the shower. Would not recommend.

    « Chic »

This is a lovely hotel located very close to the beach Copacabana beach Close to the metro The staff is absolutely wonderful helpful and I really nice thing Most of the front desk speaks English which is a rarity in Brazil and truly appreciated thank you for making this a wonderful experience

« Close to the famed beach & a metro station »

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December 2017. Our flight arrived early morning and we were happy to pay for the early check in. Room was smaller than anticipated and it was difficult to sometimes negotiate around the room with two suitcases. However, the room is furnished in a modern fashion. Unfortunately, our room had no view. Our first room was changed almost immediately as the door key card didn't work. This was a perennially problem during our stay. Either the technology they opted for was the highest quality or the system is outdated but we had to change or renew our keycards three times. A small detail but frustrating nonetheless. Further to this our room had no hotel brochure or priceless to document the cost of things left in the room and the bar fridge. We were only told after the fact that the bottles of water (usually complimentary the world over) were to be charged. Once again, we happily paid (an exorbitant cost versus the local supermarket) but they were not up front about it and that left a bad taste. The welcome reception staff were friendly and in country where English is not common, they were helpful and friendly. This cannot be said of the breakfast staff. Perhaps it was the time of year (over Christmas) where no one really feels like working but the service was poor. Tables weren't set with all the necessary cutlery, the staff didn't speak any English, they often stood just within in vision joking with each other playing on their smart phones. We had a rate that included breakfast. The fruit at breakfast was good but the juice was watered down and of a poor quality to begin with. On two mornings the loaves of bread had mould on it around the crust. And the final nail in the coffin was the fact that if you wanted friend eggs you were charged extra for having them made. 10 Brazilian Reais per egg! There was no toaster but one outdated sandwich iron that had seen better days. The hotel does provide free beach equipment (chairs and umbrellas) and bikes (not sure if it free) which we did not use. This is one of the few nice touches I guess. The amenities in the bathroom were average. Wifi was provided free of charge and served our needs fine until we got a local SIM which was faster. Housekeeping varied. Each morning some new thing was added to the snacks which was not there the day before. I don't know if they had forgotten or what but it was almost amusing to see what else would be added the next day. The hotel is right across from Cardeal Arcoverde metro station which is convenient to get around the city. Along the street are a few bars and one in particular Botequim Inhanca served a good lunch. We did not try any other meals at the hotel. As a whole, the location while not on the beach front itself is close to Copacabana and that was a redeeming quality. They also have an agreement with the local gym around the corner for guests to use it free of charge. One just has to ask for a voucher at reception. COULD BE LOADS BETTER.

« A good reasonably-priced hotel, but the rooms are a bit small »

Though our rather small room faced the busy heavily-trafficked street, it was quieter than I expected. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM, just right for an early riser like myself. Otherwise the hotel was a good choice. It's in a somewhat upscale area and only a short walk from the beach. Altogether a good value.

« Things have changed (for the best)... »

I have been to Rio 10 times for leisure (but avoided the city last year, during the Olympics). When I began to plan my trip this year, I was surprised to see this new hotel. It's direcrly across the street from the Metro (Cardeal Arcoverde) and about three blocks from The beach. I would certainly stay again. This was a great value.

    « Staff were great »

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff could not have been better. They told us to make the hotel our home. The maintenance of the hotel could have been better. We had some mold in our room from the shower. Also our friends were staying and their phone did not work told the desk every day and they would get someone to look at it. Don't know whether they did or not but had to walk to our friends room on a different floor to get in touch with them for 4 days. Breakfast was great. I would stay there again but check for mold first and see if phone worked.

« DO NOT STAY HERE - Extra Charges on Credit Card »

After this experience I will never stay at a Best Western Hotel again. I booked my reservation in July for October and had to pay up front, which I did, no problem. We had no problems while we stayed at the hotel, the rooms were small, but efficient and the hotel is located across the street from a Metro stop and a few blocks from the beach. My problem started once I came home. I was charged $287.86. I called and I was told I checked out a day early and was charged for this. I didn't. I stayed the entire length of my reservation which I had already paid for. I've been trying to work with the Best Western Customer Service to get this charge credited and it's been 3 weeks and nothing, says they can't get a hold of the hotel manager. I have even submitted screen shots from my phone proving I was in the hotel when they said I checked out b/c I took a photo of the view from the room showing the Metro stop. I also have screenshots from my phone on directions to get from the hotel to the SDU airport that morning we checked out b/c we had a flight out of Rio. I can tell you the time we checked out. And still nothing. No more Best Westerns for me. I received no points for my stay either b/c of the whole "I left a day early." I don't even want to attempt argue about that. So I advise everyone to stay away from this property and all Best Westerns.

« Great place in Rio de Janeiro »

Two couples we stayed for 4 nights. Hotel short walk to Copacabana Beach. Good breakfast included. Good wifi everywhere. Best of all is the very helpful staff. English spoken. Other amenities close by ie markets restaurants buses underground.

« Good hotel, horrible restaurant »

Went to the restaurant for dinner because it was late and had arrived that date. The restaurante didn't have most of the food, and incredible not even the most drinked beverage in the planet (Coca-Cola). After paying, when asked for an invoice, the girl says they don't give that. In Brazil is a federal crime not to give an invoice. And that way I can't reimburse my spents with the company. Very unpleasant. Do not eat there.

« Excellent hotel with excellent breakfast »

I had no issues at the hotel, the room was modern. My room was not facing the Main Street, which I did not mind. I wanted quiet, which exactly what I got. I like that they offered assortment pillows in room. As mentioned before, there was no place to put the luggage in the room. Other than that, I recommend it. Directly across from subway - the area was fine.

« Great Value for your stay »

It is above and beyond what you would expect from a BestWestern, great for business, brand new Hotel with great amenities, conveniently located 3 block from Copacabana Beach a quick cab ride to anywhere

    « Very good »

Very good, almost brand new hotel located in the heart of Copacabana. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed everything about it. It's your typical high-rise and modern building, with very comfortable rooms and good sound-proofing. You won't get a feel of the city like you would in a smaller property, but you'll be comfortable. Very good breakfast, too. Plenty of choice by Rio's standards.

« Great location small rooms »

Great staff, great breakfast but tiny rooms-we struggled to open two big suitcases at the same time.location was fab, close to metro -cardeal arcoverde and 5 mins to Copacabana beach! Awesome restaurants close by including churrascaria palace which is a must for meat eaters! Staff were friendly and laid back -allowed us a late checkout!

« Great location, clean and helpful staff »

We stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located about 4 mins walk from Copacabana beach (Post 2) and across from the metro station. It is not like any best western I've seen before as it has a boutique feel about it. The rooms are small but well presented, clean and comfortable. We were spending a couple of weeks travelling around Brazil and this was our first stop. We decided to pack travel rucksacks instead of suitcases which was good for this hotel room size and cupboards. Suitcases for the two of us would have been a problem in the rooms. It seemed more a business hotel than tourist based hotel. This wasn't a problem either way but you won't find tourist information e.g. Maps, tour packages here. Breakfast is included in the room rate and it was a decent spread each morning from hot food to cold plates, fresh fruit and a selection of cakes and pastries. The staff were very helpful and made some useful suggestions which came in handy. If you're looking for a good location, clean rooms, comfortable beds this is a good option.

    « Very good. »

Exellent reception, english- speaking front desk and quick check- in. The front desk also helped willingly with every thing asked. Room were clean and nice, breakfast and dinner very good in nice friendly surroundings. Staff was top. Would shurley go back here. Good location too ( only a couple of minutes walk to Copacabana beach).

« Our first visit to Brazil »

A taxi from the international airport charged us R$175 to the Best Western Copacabana Hotel, which was a couple of blocks away from Copacabana Beach. The hotel has front desk receptionists who speak English & one of them helped us find tours that will work for us. She also did the reservations but we had to pay her in the local currency. The hotel does not change currency so we were escorted by another employee to Hotel Mirasol to buy Brazilian reals. The room was fine but small, the hot and cold water worked and so did the AC. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet until morning on weekdays when the noise of cars honking pollute the air. The room reminded me of the inside cabin of a cruise ship. Breakfast came with our room reservation so we had a full breakfast every morning at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet had sliced fruits, cheese, meat, different kinds of bread, coffee, cereal, boiled and scrambled eggs. The place was impeccably clean, even the silverware did not have watermarks. The hotel also does not have maps so we walked and scouted the neighborhood. Turning left from the hotel, we saw a supermarket and walking still further was a small restaurant frequented by the locals. We enjoyed their chicken dinners. Turning right from the hotel onto Rodolfo Dantas, one sees more hotels and coffee shops. Keep walking and you will get to the beach. This hotel may not be on the beach exactly but is only 2 blocks away. Tour buses come by to pick up tourists so it is very convenient. We would stay here again if we go back to Rio because the hotel has everything we need and is reasonably priced and has wifi in the rooms.

    « Fantastic in every way ! »

As airline crew I stay in a lot of hotels all over the world , so my expectations are high This well located hotel is as a previous post commented a ' hidden gem ' Truthfully the rooms are not amazing , but for the price we paid very good and very clean The thing that makes this hotel special is the staff Especially in the restaurant Always welcoming and the breakfast is equally pleasant Location fantastic ( just behind the Copacabana Palace ) I would suggest that you choose a forward facing room as opposed to one at the back as our room 802 looked out onto a block of apartments and was the only real issue I would definitely stay here again

    « A little gem »

Have just returned from a 3 night stay. We arrived rather tired late at night having just been parted from our luggage by LamTam airways! We were given a very warm welcome and were delighted with our front view room on the 10th floor. The staff are all very helpful, and most speak English, the position is ideal just across the road from the metro with bus stops opposite. It is a five minute walk to Copacobana beach with many restaurants and easteries near by. The breakfast is excellent, especially loved the Brazilian apple cake! It was opened for the Olympics and is extremely reasonably priced and has the feel of a boutique hotel, not at all the image of your usual Best Western, my only feeling is that it must have been designed by a man as the bedrooms are not really suit case friendly!! Thank you all so much.

« Nice Hotel, good location, friendly staff »

The hotel is not beachfront but is well located and very near to a Mtero station. The breakfast is good and the staff is very very friendly. The price is quite reasonable making a good cost x benefit value.

« A quality hotel in a great location with friendly & helpful staff »

We stayed at this excellent modern hotel prior to a cruise in February 2017. We arrived at around 21.00 following our flight from the UK and the friendly reception team welcomed us and had us checked in very quickly. The reception area is very stylish with modern decor providing us with very positive first impressions. Our rooms were on the 9th floor which was no issue as there are two lifts available. The rooms are not huge but in line with the communal areas of the hotel they are very modern and nicely decorated with crisp sheets and nice towels. The aircon was very efficient and the rooms were at a nice temperature. The view from our window was very pleasant with a mountain backdrop rising behind the nearby buildings. Facilities provided in the rooms include free internet, a TV, a coffee machine, hairdryer, toiletries and a safe. There are fridges stocked with water, fruit juices and iced tea and these are complimentary. There are also snacks provided but after sampling the savoury ones we wouldn't recommend them! Nice touch though. Hanging space is limited but perfectly adequate for a few nights. The shower is huge with powerful jets and lots of hot water. We decided to explore the area which is just a few blocks and a 5 minute stroll from Copacabana beach. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and plenty of supermarkets and shops including pharmacies on the doorstep. Turn right out of the hotel and turn 3rd right and there are some great bars serving ice cold beers at great prices. Breakfast at the hotel is served in a stylish restaurant that also doubles up as the bar. It's buffet style with toast, meats, cheeses and preserves and there are boiled and scarmbled eggs available. Lots of exotic fruits provided too and some strange looking juices that were possibly smoothies and very popular with the locals. The staff ensure that the buffet is topped up and they were very friendly and helpful. The only very small issue was that the restaurant is not very big and if you decide on a later breakfast you may find yourself queueing for a table. We asked if we could sit in the reception area on one of our days and the staff were quite happy for us to do so. Another nice touch was the availability of deckchairs and parasols for the beach and bicycles for touring the area - again complementary for guests to borrow and all provided with a smile! The hotel is just across the road (less than one minute away) from the Metro station and a taxi rank. There is an ATM at the Metro station. On the day that we left for the cruise terminal the staff arranged a taxi for us and then waved us off with a smile. The service was excellent! This hotel is highly recommended and we would certainly return here for any future stays in Rio.

« Excellent place at an excellent rate! »

Brand new hotel openned recently for the Olympic Games. Located at the heart of Copacabana, at a walking distance to the beach. Close to all the best of Rio including the Sugar Loaf and a lot of good restaurants. Excellent service. Nothing to complain.

« Great location, nice people, good value »

We stayed here two nights and felt that the service by the concierge and people in the breakfast area was outstanding. Very friendly indeed. Breakfast was good, the room simple but functional. Location is very good close to the copacabana palace. All in all a great hotel in Rio for those seeking midrange accommodation that is clean and simple.

    « Good location »

Good location, comfortable and great staff. It includes everything you need for a short break in Rio de Janeiro. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked well once they'd corrected the password for me. Look after bags if you need to store them there with no hassle.

    « Best Best Western? »

Booking a late overnight stay in Rio there were few well rated hotels to choose from on my budget, but the write up on this one was good, location appeared to be OK and I took a punt. Best Western's have a certain ring to them down my way, this one blew that image well away. The lobby was smart, staff welcoming, polite and knowledgeable. I chose a city view room that was a limited view, but only due to the high terrain surrounding this locality (a trip to the rooftop terrace next morning - was that allowed? - gave me a great view of the hotel's surroundings). My room was clean, smart, functional and comfortable. I was grateful for the complimentary fridge full of water (there were other offerings) and small snack choice upon my late arrival. Breakfast was quite adequate in the comfortable restaurant area and lunch (before my onward flight) was very good, but a little small on portion size! Location was easy to find, it was an interesting street and area to walk round, being close to Copacabana beach and the ticket centre / coaches for the Christo Redento tour - it meant I had enough time to fit in the two places I most wanted to see before I had to leave for Southern Brazil that day. Very pleased with my stay at this hotel and would certainly consider returning :-)

    « Great service »

I stayed at the hotel for three days. The service was excellent, the staff speaks English very well. They were great in giving advice with regard to day trips, handled the booking, advice on safety, and booking a Uber for the return trip to the airport. In my experience, this is first hotel where the mini-bar is stocked with practical items, such as water and fresh fruit, which is free! It's location is excellent, the rooms clean and modern. The breakfast delicious!

    « Great hotel! »

This is a lovely hotel well located in copacabana. The staff are polite, friendly and speak great English. The whole hotel is very modern and the rooms are great. The breakfast is amazing! Would highly recommend this hotel

« Clean and Great Service »

We stayed at this hotel for five days, absolutely loved it! The location is great, two blocks from the beach and its right across the metro station, thus if you need to use public transportation its super convenient. The hotel staffs are very friendly and adorable people. The neighborhood its in felt safe to me, and its also super easy to call an uber at the hotel. *** The hotel offers free bicycles so use it if you want to bike along the beach! Was not told that information, got lucky finding out about it because we were about to rent bikes elsewhere

« Great location and value for money »

Chose this hotel as I've used this chain before and was very satisfied. The hotel is located in a bustling busy street just 2 blocks from Copacabana beach. Various restaurants and bars are on your doorstep. The Rio Sul shopping mall is 15 min walk. The hotel is virtually brand new and the rooms although small are well appointed with all mod cons. The price includes breakfast and wi-fi so very good value. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful in giving tourist information and you can book tours through them. The rooms were a little on the small side, shower only bathroom and the minibar is free (no alcohol, only water and health drink) and coffee maker. The room comes with flat screen tv on wall, safe and effective air con. Very clean and good sound insulation. Breakfast has good choice of cooked and continental with various fruit juices and cereals. Although it is the same choice everyday. No newspapers to read although there is 'Globo' Brazilian daily in the hotel foyer. There is a communal laptop for internet in the foyer which is free unlimited access. Check out is 12 noon, however if that is too early, the concierge can store your baggage until you are ready to leave and you can book a day room for a reasonable fee if required. I would thoroughly recommend this modern hotel to anyone travelling either for business or pleasure. Convenient and good value for money.

    « Value for Money »

The Best Western Plus is an elegant and simple hotel. The hotel gives a fresh feeling and I believe its been constructed recently before the Rio Olympics. The newness is everywhere in the hotel. Once you step into the hotel you are welcomed by very friendly reception and the check-in process is fairly quick and simple. The hotel rooms are well maintained and very clean. The room does have all the basic requirement and for things you would require the staff at reception is very happy to support if requested (like Iron table, Dental/Shaving set etc). The room I stayed did not have any view at all and the rooms have individual air conditioners with remote support. The quality of bed was good and I managed to get peaceful sleep on all the days during the stay. The hotel itself is located in a very good location which is centre to many of the nearby attractions and metro and bus stops. The copacabana beach was walkable distance and few streets behind the hotel. I did not remember seeing any Swimming pool or health club in the hotel and considering the fact this is a simple hotel and not any luxury type of hotel this is fine. One thing which was a big let down is the restaurant at the hotel. They have a standard menu for the breakfast and it is very very limited. They do not even provide the default corn flakes but did have some home made museli. And it was the same every day. I would have preferred some changes every day and some variety in the international expectations. You would have to starve with breads everyday if you are an asian vegetarian like me. Surprisingly the room service options from restaurant is also very limited and they have a set of 5-10 items that you can order. Though you can easily walk out and find so many places to eat based on budget and expectations it is always good to have choices within hotel. Someone in other review mentioned that the bathroom is small. That is true and it is small for a hotel but not any complaints on that since this is something we can manage for sure. The mini fridge is equipped with lots of water bottles and it is really good so that we do not risk drinking any other liquid. Overall this hotel is really good and clean with friendly staffs and should fit fine in case you are in the town and would want a decent place to stay and get your things done. Do not expect any luxury but surely worth for the money.

    « Brilliant! »

I was in Brazil for business and stayed here this week for a night before returning back to the UK. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the staff are so friendly that can't do enough for you! Location is great too! ????

« Excellent Breakfast buffet, the best »

The property is completely new, every detail has been taken care of, the breakfast is really exceptional, not only for the quality of products, but also by the attention. Thank Cleo & Co. The reception was very good too, thanks Carolina & Co.

« Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Great location too! »

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel two blocks away from Copacabana beach. It's brand new, extremely clean and has very comfortable rooms with enormous beds, comfy pillows and dark and quiet enough to ensure a good night's sleep. Staff were incredibly friendly and a nice touch is that they offer guests bicycles to explore the area. There is also a gym around the corner available to hotel guests. The breakfasts were delicious with many different kinds of freshly squeezed juices, pastries, crispy bacon and perfectly prepared eggs. A wonderful hotel which is very central and a great location for exploring Rio on foot.

    « Cozy and Comfortable »

We were in Rio for the Olympic Games and stayed at the hotel from 14 to 20 August... The room was a tad small but was well furnished and cozy.... The morning breakfast may not be lavish but was substantial... The staff were wonderful, helpful and caring.... The location of the hotel is superb ... central and just off the COPACABANA beach ....the Cardeal Arcoverde Metro is just opposite which was a big plus...Lot of nearby eating joints and shopping too...Would recommend it highly..

    « Good deal »

Just across the metro estation Cardeal Arco Verde. This new option in Copacabana is very pratical for those who want to use the Metro and the Rio Sul Mall, free bus, because they are just in front the hotel
