Best Western Classic Hotel

I've been here several times and the rooms were always different. If you wan't a quiet room, you should contact the hotel in advance - seriously. Breakfast and dinner in their restanurant were always very good with a large selection of food. After dinner your get really good italian coffee, for breakfast just instant coffee out of a machine made of plastic. Parking might be an issue if you arrive late.

I spent 3 nights there on a business trip. The room is outdated with wooden cabinetry, but decent size. Big bathroom but the shower head area is too small. Water pressure was not much either, but doable. Staff was very nice, the breakfast was good. Free parking and free WiFi!!! Only 2 English channels on TV (CNN and BBC). The hotel is about 10 mins from the center of town. the restaurant opens late, so make sure you plan accordingly.

Stayed here for three nights during a recent visit to Reggio Emelia. The hotel was comfortable although the decor is a little dated. Our room overlooked the roads so the traffic noise was a bit of a problem and the room was very warm as the air conditioning was not very efficient. This is clearly a hotel geared towards business clientele and as such lacks a little of the personal touch that you look for when on holiday. We were there for 3 days and with the exception of a very nice breakfast waiter we weren't spoken to at all.

I don't have too many good things to say about this hotel…… Let's start with location. Its near a main road leading into town, but still on the outskirts. This is an agricultural area, so the smell of natural fertilizer permeates the air everywhere. But this hotel seems to be located in the middle of the farm – the odor in the air is everywhere. I was given an attic type of room with no window except a glass panel in the ceiling. The haunted house atmosphere is enhanced by dark serpentine corridors where the lights go on automatically as you proceed. The old standing wooden closets in the room complete the picture. The very low resolution TV delivers a list of foreign language channels with nothing in English. The bed was large and very comfortable with large comfortable cushions. The bathroom is very makeshift. A shower head is perched on the sloping wooden ceiling above the bath which is very partially enclosed by folding glass protectors which ensure a large flood of water on the floor following your shower. The towels are reasonable and they also provide a thick toweling gown and sandals. Bring your own shampoo. The free WIFI is fast, reliable and user-friendly. The level of cleanliness in the hotel is excellent I asked the dining room staff to warm something for me – they completely messed up. The following night I gave them printed instructions in Italian. Again they did it completely wrong… The gym is pathetic. One needs to cross an outdoor patio to get to the gym. The single average treadmill worked nicely and did the job for me. The single stationary bicycle did not work. The cherry on top was when I checked out, I declared that in my windowless room I had needed to drink the bottled water on the shelf. They charged for the water!!!

Stayed here for 5 nights, for work. I would say it is a good hotel, the service was fantastic. The staff was always ready to help. They have one restaurant with a decent set of menu and a bar. The place does not have much shops or anything around, some restaurant though are there, There is a supermarket under construction, and should be up and running in cpl of months i guess. The Property is around 5-6 kms away from the city center. The rooms are well equipped, with Coffee and Tea, Mini bar is well stuffed, its clean and the beds are comfy. All in all it was a good hotel with a comfortable stay and a value for money, however if you are looking for Chick and elegant this is not the place

A bit out of downtown. Ok parking. Ok conference premises. Restaurant : basic. Average business hotel - not more than 3 start for International standards. Not a place where I would spend my holidays - ok for short business staying. I would suggest the management to refresh the atmosphere. Furnishing looks pretty old already in the lobby - bar area.

FIrst suggestion: never come here. My experience: at the arrival I ask for a silent room on an high floor (the hotel is almost empty): at the reception gave me a room on the first floor.. just in front of an highway!!! The room is then very old..(see the picture) the phone is a "SIP" phone, a company disappeared almost 30 years ago. Then the bathroom... has a crazy way in order to close the shower: you can have all the floor wet and very cold doing the shower. Airdryer doen't work (it has cold air)... so it is not a 4 star hotel.. maybe a 2 star. Suggestion: Choose another one!

Clean, comfortable with modern decor, this hotel is sure to please even the most picky traveler. It was probably recently remodeled and looked like a great deal of detail went into the planning. Be sure to enjoy the great location as well.

A very nice hotel, perfect for both business and leisure purposes. Rooms are very spacious, very nice and extremely comfortable. Staff are very friendly and professional. Restaurant is very good and serves good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is also very good with a large selection of items available. Only negative aspect was that it was quite far out of the city centre. There is a bus which stops directly outside but otherwise is quite difficult to reach without a car/taxi. Overall an extremely good hotel and worth the money that I paid.

The right name forse this high Quality hotel. Clean, Good traditional locali food. The staff is Very Kind and efficient. The usuale bw standard with a bit of The italian Style. I suggest it And I ll come bak surely

Clean, quite old interior. Polite service stuff. Fine breakfast. Attractive price. Far from the city center, seems necessary to have a car to travel freely. If the room is located on the side of the road, noise could be disturbing.

Good hotel for conferences and conventions, the rooms are very neat with a nice setup and good furniture. Easily accessible by car, not to far driving from the city center and the highway. Good option in the area.

The hotel was great, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Make sure to book a room that is not over the entrance as it can be very noisy at night due to people smoking outside. The air condition was also not working and the room was quite stuffy. I also found the bed not too be comfortable, it was way too hard. Proper tea mugs would have been great besides the cheap and not environmentally friendly plastic mugs.

Crowded in a Standard room instead of a Family Room as by reservation, amenities/services not working, (Jacuzzi) etc.. Very disappointing. I am used to have the best service from Best Western this was not the case.

Stayed for two nights for a business trip. Room was clean, spacious and nicely appointed with a traditional decor. Only thing I did not like was that the closet hangers were the detachable kind and made of plastic so they were already worn out and so my clothes kept falling! The bathroom was clean and had towel warmers which a pleasant surprise. Water pressure was not so strong in the morning probably because a lot of people were showering at the same time. Breakfast was a full buffet and had a lot of selections. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A great business hotel. Very comfy, easy to reach and with great parking space. City center is 10 minutes away, by car. The restaurant is very good - they serve local fresh produce such as Parma ham and cappelletti - and the service is top notch.

This hotel is outside of Reggio and after deciding that 30€ a day on taxis was ridiculous I learned to use the public buses which was a great way to experience the real Reggio. The hotel is clean, the wifi can be iffy and the breakfast buffet is spectacular. The staff is mostly friendly but the hotel has some quirks like no AC before May and room keys also turn on lights. There is a great spa and gym on the upper level and the sunset view over their backyard vineyard is breathtaking.

Very clean hotel,good bathroom en good bed, nearby the city. Good parkingplace and free. Only it's a shame, that the bar was closed at 21.00 and that we could not buy a drink ! The lady at the desk would not help us out. In the brochure stood that the bar was open till 23.00 The rooms are very noisy, you could hear the neighboor talking. The lady's at the reception where not very nice. Breakfast was good.
