    « What a great place! »

I just stayed here for work for 13 days. Their hot breakfast was the best I've had. They use real bacon, not the paper thin garbage you see at other hotels. The staff are so accommodating. I was on night shift so I was getting off work during the breakfast and the ladies made us some stew to go with our breakfast. Definitely above and beyond. The rooms looked very modern and well kept. Even the shower heads lit up. There was a pride in ownership in all areas of the hotel. Plus the induction stove top in every room was a really nice touch. I would consider staying there even if I was planning a trip to Edmonton to avoid the hustle and traffic.

Can never go wrong when you stay here . If you are a Best Western Member , I never asked for my upgrade , it was given . Staff is great , rooms are awesome and new , food is very good , ample parking and a great nights sleep . We always return here when staying in this town .

    « mistaken for redwater »

I booked for Redwater and accidentally booked Red Deer. They were supposed to correct it but was charged for staying at a hotel we didnt. The front desk at Redwater seemed to not know what he was doing, but it should have been clear that Redwater and Red Deer in Alberta can be mixed up.

    « Comfort and functionality »

Didn't plan on being in the area overnight so didn't book ahead but receptionist was very helpful in getting me booked in as well as warning me that a wedding was coming in over the weekend so if I needed more nights I should book ahead. Personally, I'm quite a fan of the kitchenette suites where I can setup my laptop on the spacious desk while cooking dinner. A few more utensils would have been useful but everything was clean and tidy and ready to go. On a side note, I appreciate the shower here as well because as a taller guy I occasionally have to stoop in showers but not here! I grabbed the free breakfast on my way out in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to be remembered by the lady in charge of it (I had stayed here earlier in the summer). It was fun to chat with her and she was very helpful in guiding me through the food (I'm gluten intolerant). The selection of gluten free food could have been better but there was certainly enough for a good breakfast. All in all, a great stay.

    « New hotel »

I have been staying at the Best Western plus in Redwater Ab. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and courteous, the room we were in had a kitchen with utensils and a pot and a frying pan, huge fridge Itty bitty sink. 2 huge TVs where I encountered my first sigh, the remote control sucks for these TVs you have to go through every channel and it doesn't give you anyway of knowing what a program is about. The other thing that bothered me was the pillows they are way to soft no support at all. They have a pool and a hot tub which were nice, they offer for free (I believe) breakfast which have hot food eggs, bacon sausage, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, muffins apples all very nice and until 10am. In the afternoon they have cookies and strudel at the front desk that are always fresh,

    « Beautiful! »

My husband and I were on a cross country motorcycle trip when we needed to call it a night. The evening front desk clerk was extremely helpful and was able to fit us in without reservations. We had a beautiful king suite that allowed us to be able to keep an eye on the bikes outside. The suite was clean, bright and comfortable. Hot breakfast was perfect as well. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks!

« New Hotel with great staff »

Stayed here for a wedding. Was complimentry upgraded. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel was full so the breakfast was a bit slow. They had a hard time keeping up with the food. Everything else was awesome.

    « Excellent stay »

I recently had to stay for six days due to the wildfires in Fort McMurray. Our stay was work related and involved some unpredictable shift hours. The staff were all very professional and accommodating. They allowed us to use the breakfast room for late/early cereal and coffee breakfasts even when it had been closed for the night. The hotel and the rooms were very clean, modern and I found the bed provided a good nights sleep. The blinds and not curtains allowed more light into the room than I like but that was trivial. Each day and we returned to a clean and well serviced room. A second deployment involving another stay may be coming soon. We were fortunate to have a hotel and this one was perfect.

Always a great place to stay , nice rooms , good breakfast , in room coffee , very clean throughout , nice pool and hot tub , laundry facilities , good parking and friendly staff . Gas station next door and restaurants a few blocks away .

    « Redwater Alberta »

The Best Western Plus in Redwater provides excellent accommodation from check in to check out and everything in between. The best thing about our room with two queen beds was the lounge chair. It was the reason we booked this hotel and was perfect. The hotel is new and everything was in top condition.

    « No Hospitality »

I have stayed at Best Western Hotels for the better part of the past 7 years while travelling. I stayed at this particular hotel on one occasion prior and the experience was fine. On March 27, 2016, while travelling between Edmonton and Fort McMurray we stopped to feed our children using the lobby at the Redwater location and requested to make use of a single table, the receptionist was very accommodating and friendly. The manager "Shin" interrupted us as we were feeding our nine month old babies and asked if we were paying customers. We informed him that we were not, but had asked permission. He told us to leave, not allowing us to finish feeding our children. He approached the situation with no tact or compassion. We hadn't made a mess, were not noisy and were trying to be quick. I realize that this is a business, and that you have the right to refuse whomever you wish. However just because you "can" do something doesn't mean you "should" do something. I'm this particular case, "Shin" had no qualms about kicking out a family with two babies. At any rate, you can't claim to be family friendly while simultaneously kicking out families. In the future I won't be staying here.

« Great hotel in a small town »

This is far better than you expect from a hotel in a town this small. Excellent The room was clean and well equipped. The one I stayed in had full cooking facilities including a full fridge, Microwave and a stovetop along with cooking utensils .

    « Comfortable New Hotel »

Nice new hotel in the metropolis of Redwater. Comfortable, clean, with the usual breakfast bar as in other BW. Nicely equipped kitchen comfortable beds. Worth the stay if u are in Redwater. Stay on the upper floors for more peace he quiet.

    « Nice Hotel »

The hotel is new and clean, beds are comfortable and breakfast was good with a large variety of food choices. The price was a bit more than I like to pay. Although the pool and hot tub were enjoyable and a relaxing way to end the day!

    « Nice Hotel »

All staff has a professional manner and service mind. A lot of choice in breakfast. Hotel has modern and updated kitchen room which is good for field worker like me. It was comfortable staying. Recommendable to everybody.

    « Excellent Hotel »

We really enjoyed our stay in Redwater. Staff are very polite and helpful. Room was beautiful and had everything we could ask for. Bed was so comfortable! Would recommend to anyone and would return to this hotel if we ever returned.

« NIce new Hotel in Redwater, AB »

Lovely new hotel in Redwater. Complete with a pool and hot tub, although you have to ask the front desk to turn on the hot tub as there is no switch near the tub for you to do it yourself Most staff friendly with exception of morning check-in girl. We arrived at 11:30 am and were threatened with an "early check-in fee" that was a first for me and I travel a lot for business. Redwater is a quiet town with not much choice for food. This hotel is probably the jewel of the town.

« Nice place to stay. Beware of trains rolling through though.... »

First time staying here, is around 2.5 yrs old. Clean and modern. Any staff we dealt with were professional and friendly (especially the breakfast lady, she does a great job!). Pool is nice. The area is clean, wonder about the hot tub. I'm sure it conforms to any industry and safety norms, but felt very lukewarm, and we weren't sure how or if to utilitze any of the other jets. Only major complaint was, as first time customers in a fairly empty hotel, we were placed on the main floor of the south facing end. Which usually wouldn't bother me, except for the trains that are a stones throw from that end of the hotel, that roll through (blasting whistles repeatedly, as trains are wont to do...) between 3-6 am. We didn't complain the first night, because how am I to know the train schedule, but it happened the next night too. Also, please invest in some room darkening curtains or rollers. The slats on the shutters (which looked nice), don't keep out the light from the parking lot, even when they are fully articulated.

    « Great hotel »

My wife had to stay in town for business, and since it was the weekend I loaded up the Littlest Wanderer and we stayed here as well to keep her company. I have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and this one is the best. The room is modern and stylish, the beds are comfy, the shower is great. The continental breakfast is decent, the fitness room does the trick, and my daughter loved the pool. The staff were all great. Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody.
