    « Very nice! »

Very nice hotel! It's comfortable and of course the Wi-Fi is free and works good!! Very high-tech. The door lock and also when you put the key in this key holder as you enter, the A/C and lights turns off. But only problem is they need to have some channels like ESPN on TV. So, people who are into sports can National Basketball Association PLAYOFFS or National Football League games when they're on a vacay.

    « Older style »

You can tell the hotel is older. Is also quite a ways out from main Venice or even Mestre, but close walk to the train. The shuttle to the airport in the morning is nice. Front staff were friendly and accomodating.

« Ok for the price »

Very basic hotel in the Venice countryside. This hotel is useful for a stop over. Free airport pickup is a huge positive as well as their paid port drop off. Excellent value with their 1 euro breakfast. Fast wifi. Only negatives is that aircon didnt work properly and bar fridge not at all

    « Worst Western?? »

Our 2 night stay here was marked by no hot water for morning showers, undue noise from adjoining rooms and cold food at Breakfast. However, staff could not be faulted - at the desk and in the restaurant. Location is OK if you have transport but you have a 20mins train trip from Venice Central and a 10 mins walk from the local station to the hotel. And that's without suitcases and if you know the short route.

    4
    « Nice enough hotel »

Stayed as part of a Costsaver tour. The hotel is out near the airport. It was clean & comfortable. Reasonably well appointed. Breakfast was part of the package, usual continental fare plus hot selection which had gone cold, Same as everywhere else we've stayed in Europe.

    5
« Nice little hotel on the outskirts of town »

This has nothing to do with the hotel, but WizzAir that recommended a hotel that's near the other local airport and they flew us on the one across town.... The place is just as expected, the only drawback it is about a 45min train ride from the center of Venice.

    « An excellent stay »

A great place 20 minutes outside of Venice by car. We booked hotel online without any problems and we even stay one night more which was accommodated promptly. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was charged extra but well worth the money. The food was great and versatile. One last thing, wifi was very good quality.

« Great for an Early Flight »

We stayed here as a family of 3 for the night before a morning flight. -Rooms and bedding clean and comfy - Nice bathrooms with good water pressure (a little slippery) - Quiet and black out curtains for jet lag :-) - Very good breakfast and service -Check in was complicated as the front desk was very busy and seemed like people were new -Shuttle bus was on time and easy to use -Getting food after hours was difficult, they direct you to walk a ways to get something to eat.

« Nice hotel out of Venice »

This is the place to stay if you re gong to catch an early flight. There is hotel shuttle service to the airport . No fussing with leaving Venice at an early hour . The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has limited food service but does include breakfast . It is located a short walk from several small l and good restaurants .

« Good option for Venice or airport »

We arrived by train and went to the Crowne Plaza which is located at the station. They were able to shuttle us to the BW Airvenice. The ride was surprisingly long but I understand the walk is relatively short. We were pleasantly surprised by the BW. It appears to be relatively new and the room quite spacious especially by Venice standards. There is a restaurant on site and front desk has an area map with several nearby restaurants indicated. The area map also provides information about trains to and from Venice (cost approximately 3 euros). Shuttle service is provided to the airport (approximately 20 minutes), first shuttle runs at 4:15 a.m. The day before our scheduled arrival we received an email from the hotel with shuttle information. We were able to respond to that email to book our shuttle time (recommended). At the price, this is an excellent option for a visit to Venice or as an airport hotel.

« Good Service. Comfortable Room. »

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. It provided a restful end to what had been a very busy holiday in Italy. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and the buffet breakfast very good. I wouldnt recommend the hotel bistro for dinner though as the food was very poor. Go out to one of the nearby restaurants instead. Contrary to an earlier post, there was free WiFi in the room. We appreciated the free shuttle service from the Venice Airport. The train station was within walking distance (depending on how much luggage you have) or there is a 10€ shuttle service available. Recommended.

    « Not bad »

Not too bad, i would say it's nothing major, okish is the word I am looking ofr, I would stop there again but as I said it's just ok, of course it depends on what you are looking for in a hotel but it's decent overall.

    4
« Overnight stay was ok »

This is not close to the airport! A 16 min ride minimum. There is a shuttle that you need to arrange before hand. It is a nice place for the money but if you are looking for convenience to airport there are closer places. If the short drive is not an issue it is clean, nice rooms and quiet. The price is very good for the accommodations and short walk to a couple very nice restaurants And gelateria.

    3
« 15 min walk from the train station »

If you are arriving from train, I would not recommend this hotel. Hotel is located close to the Quattro D'altino train station, well, not that close. With the burning sun and a couple large baggages this 15 min walk could be quite dreadful (especially on a hot sunny day). Imagine walking an entire day on the island and arriving from train having to walk more. If only the hotel offers shuttle buses to and from the train station, I thought. Hotel itself is fine, room is spacious and bed was comfortable. A supermarket is conveniently located across the hotel so although breakfast was available for £4 I thought the supermarket offers cheaper options. The neighbourhood where the hotel is at is very quiet. So coming back at night after the sun down can be dark and quiet but there are adequate street lights which is relative safe.

    4
« Quiet option away from the crowds of Venice »

We spent 2 nights at the BW before leaving on a cruise. We had already been travelling by train through Europe and this was our final stop. We arrived at the train station and not seeing any taxis we just decided to walk, I suppose we could have called the hotel to see if we could have gotten the shuttle, but it was a beautiful day and it only took about 10 minutes. Quarto D'Altino is a quiet town, feels like a suburban village. Check-in was quick, they take a photocopy of your passport (I think this is in case you get robbed in Venice, but they didn't say that). You can pre pay for breakfast for 3 Euros per person and the shuttle to the cruise terminal was 10 Euros each. We could have easily taken the train to the cruise terminal for 2.60 Euros plus 1.50 Euros for the people mover, but the shuttle was more convenient, although it was 30 minutes late picking us up. We had booked a family room (six months in advance), but it was double booked and they offered us an upgrade to their sister hotel the Crown Plaza (which was right beside the train station we had just walked from). I had researched that hotel and the room was more expensive, but not as private, so we declined, and they gave us 2 rooms, so our teenagers had their own (not adjoining though). I had wanted to do laundry since we were at the halfway mark of our trip, an had read that they had laundry services, but it was a National holiday, so there was no service that day. So the front desk staff sent for the shuttle from the Crown Plaza to take us to a Laundromat down the road. After we came back, we went to the grocery store just behind the hotel for some provisions (wine). Our room was very comfortable, the shower enclosure was a bit odd, you would have trouble getting in if you were very large, and there was a bidet. (this is not something you see often in Canada). The room had a pull out sofa, a safe , and a small refrigerator. In the morning we had a good breakfast, simple but tasty. We were able to hop a shuttle again to the train station to head into Venice (about 20 minutes). Check with the front desk, because the shuttle in actually the Crown Plaza's. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, they spoke perfect English (grazie). The restaurant only seemed to be open for breakfast, but there were plenty of good restaurants nearby. The bar in the lobby didn't ever seem open. There was a bartender occasionally walking around but I never saw him make a drink. There is a small work station where you can print off travel documents etc. The hotel is a little dated but clean. The area behind the hotel was in desperate need of landscaping, but that might not have belonged to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel if you don't want to lug your suitcases around Venice, and you want a quiet place to stay. I enjoyed the people in Quarto D'Altino more than in Venice and was glad we had the opportunity to see a little more of Italy.

« Great hotel for Venice visit »

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Venice. If you have a car this is a great location. It's in a pretty town (modern) just off the main road in the center. There are restaurants, supermarket and other services just around the corner. The reception was quick and extremely helpful. They explained the train schedule and gave us a map of Venice. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. We drove to the train station and left the car there for the day. Lots and lots of free parking. The train ride into Venice is 25 minutes and it runs till after midnight (coming back) so you can enjoy the sights for the whole day. We definitely recommend this hotel and the town.

« Good value for money »

Parking was clear and easy. Our car was too high, and for that private parking behind hotel was provided. Staff was professional and polite. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was small but sufficient. Would stay again if driving by.

    « Could do better! »

Mixed feelings about this Hotel, friendly and helpful reception staff, not so friendly barman/ restaurant person. Restaurant is virtually non existent as when we arrived there on Sunday it wasn't opened and Menu available for the evening was quite limited. There wasn't anything opened locally except for a couple of cafe/ bars, we eventually had to walk nearly a kilometre back to the train station to catch a train back into Venice and eat there! Breakfast was OK, could of been hotter as food was luke warm. Monday evening there was a limited restaurant service... limited to 4 or 5 tables in the reception bar area and not in the restaurant, menu limited to just pizza!!! We had to get a transfer to the Crowne Plaza next to the Train station to get a meal. The reception staff were really good as they had arranged free transfers with the Crowne Plaza not only for our meal at the Crowne Plaza but also for our return trips from the train station on two separate occasions. Rooms were nice enough and clean and again the reception staff were accommodating as they tried to get our rooms ready for us even though we arrived earlier than the check in time.

    « Worse Western. »

The staff were helpful in getting our rooms ready ahead of the scheduled time. However things soon went sour. The restaurant closes at 9. We arrived at 8.15 (6 of us) but had to wait for a table to come available before been seated. 35 minutes ater waiting we when then told its Pizza only! Couldn't drown out worries. The bar shut at 10.30 Would never use that hotel again.

    « Airvenice Hotel »

Good price and good conditions, far from Venice but if you will travel by car is excellent. The personnel is pleasent and they try to be ready for all demands. The breakfast is simple but sufficient for the value of money that you will pay!

    « Oh dear »

I knew the hotel was outside Venice but the photo on Booking.com was misleading. The hotel website shows an actual picture. The hotel is in front of a shopping 'centre' and near a motorway I am not sure why the hotel gets four stars - the air conditioning in the rooms really struggles and the in room entertainment is a TV with very limited channels The room and bathroom however were clean and the front desk were pleasant Breakfast €3 - cakes were nice but coffee had a bitter after taste. Much better drunk in cafes The shuttle to the airport is 15 - 20 min and reliable - this must be booked in advance The hotel is 1000m from the station through a tired neighbourhood. The train takes 25 minutes into Venice for €8.60 return The major draw back is the location - the Mosquitoes were very active due to local river - you must get some repellant. The town is devoid of charm

    « The review you've been looking for...will be a returning customer »

You're looking for a review that gives you information on how to get to venice and not pay central venice prices right? so read on... Price: I paid £130 for two nights Location: simple really, you walk 10 minutes in a safe residential area to get to the train station...it costs you 3.60 euros per person to take you straight to central venice. the station you get off at is venice saint lucia train station. And that's it, you're in central venice. Soon as you walk out of the train station, everything is there...the canals, the gondolas, restaurants, boat taxis everything. Trains take roughly 25 minutes to get you to venice. I wouldn't stay in central venice unless the price is right. Hotel room: double large bed, spacious room, VERY clean showers and room with lovely coffee. The reason why i didn't want to stay in central is because i heard most hotels hardly have great working air con, this air con was amazing. Very powerful, especially when its summer the last thing you want is a humid room. Breakfast: i mean i would avoid this personally, we only paid 3 euros each but then again no flavour, very basic...but again cheaper then food in central venice. Now i came from Treviso airport...i did the wrong thing by getting buses and trains. Just get a taxi its 44 euros otherwise its a good 2 hours in total getting buses and trains. I would definitely return to this hotel again. Thank you

    « Excellent »

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, breakfast very good and the staff extremely helpful. It was a 15 minute walk to the train station and the train ride to Venice was about 25 minutes. I would recommend it. Happy Canadian

    2
    « Dirty »

The woman at the front desk added a star to this review as she was funny and sweet. The reason I gave such a low review is because the room isn't clean. The orange pillows on the bed atop the sleeping pillows are stained with blotchy toothpaste or something. The sheets lay directly on the mattress, no mattress pad, and the mattress is stained with a blot of blood and bodily fluids (urine?). Any hotel that puts fresh sheets on top of that mess can't be trusted and frankly shouldn't be a best western brand. Not cool.

    « Convenient Hotel »

We were able to checked in early, which we appreciated; Hotel it's about 20-25 minutes from VCE airport, they have a free shuttle service which you have to booked 24h in advance, the driver was very kind and also waited for us for about 10 minutes, since we were waiting for our bags; I highly recommend to schedule your pick up, taxi can charge you about $45-$50 Euros and walking with bags from the train station could be complicated; hotel its well kept and rooms are good size; breakfast was very good; they have dinner options on site, like sandwiches, pizza etc. a little bit pricey. If you want to save some money staying outside of the city this is a good option, train station (Quarto D' Andino) its about 10-15 minutes walking, this hotel is located in a residential area, we didn't want to walk late at night since you don't see anybody else around and had some fear. There are not taxi service in the area, they said it's because its a small city. transit time to Venice St. Lucia is 25 minutes, very easy to get there. After you buy your train ticket please don't forget to validate it before taking the train (There is a small machine next to the ticketing kiosk) use track #3... Near the hotel there is a Super Market and some restaurants, we tried one of them, food was okay but service was bad. ** Don't expect good customer service in Italy, just few exceptions. There was a blackout during my last night , lasted for about 40 minutes, according to them this never had happened before, they were trying to do their best to keep everybody calmed, after that the wifi didn't work until the next day. In general I can come back to this place, or maybe to Crown Plaza, since this one has the train station just behind.

    4
    « Nice Stay »

Everything at this hotel was as advertised. Price was excellent, easy check in late at night and very helpful front desk. Rooms were large and clean and beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish their airport shuttle ran later than 1030PM. We landed at midnight and chose to rent a car since they cab drivers looked a little sketchy...and this is coming from a native of NYC! Other than that, no complaints. Breakfast was a good value too. Would definitely stay here again.

« Super Convenient, Friendly Venice Airport Hotel That's a Deal! »

Flying into Venice before heading out to other places in Italy, then seriously consider camping out at the Best Western AirVenice Hotel. Clean, well appointed rooms with A/C, a very respectable breakfast buffet, very friendly front desk staff that reply to emails and the icing on the cake, FREE airport shuttle to and from the hotel if you plan ahead. A short, flat 10 minute walk to the Quatro D'Altino train station and less than 3.50 euro will get you to the island of Venice one way. The town is quiet, there is a well stocked grocery just a couple hundred feet from the hotel and the wifi works well. Have stayed there twice, will be back. Valentina and Irene do a great job at the front desk.

    « Impressive Hotel »

Certainly a treat to visit and stay at Air Venice Best Western Hotel Quarto de Altino. Very hospitable and receptive staff. Good breakfast! Location is beautiful, though a bit away from the Railway station, but amicably compensated by shuttle service. Simply a superb experience!

    « VACATION IN ITALY »

The free shuttle service was excellent. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport in a very quiet neighbourhood. The room was a nice size, very clean and the staff was very friendly. We left early the next morning so we did not have the breakfast that came with the room.

    5
    « Great »

They made us feel like we were the only guess there. Took care of every need gave great advice and directions on things to do. Provided transportation to and from our cruise ship and the airport. Thank you for the excellent services.

« Ideal for what we wanted. »

Wanted a clean, comfortable and good value for money hotel. Got all 3. Easy access when driving to and from Marco Polo airport. Short train journey in to central Venice. Helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast Steve from Leicester

    « Pleasant stay »

Booked this hotel and were a bit skeptical because it was such a bargain. We were pleasantly surprised for it's excellent service, clean, great value and proximity to train plus they have a free shuttle to the airport. Don't miss out on their continental breakfast, it has a wide variety of delicious food. We will most definitely stay again when we visit Venice.

    5
    « Perfect! »

This hotel was a godsend. After staying in Venice we had a super early flight in the morning and realized we could not get to the airport from Venice without paying over $130. So we booked this hotel which ended up being $50. There's a free shuttle in the morning that started at 4:15 AM. The room was pretty large, and the town where it was was great! We found a great restaurant and walked the streets. It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station, not bad at all. You get off at the Quartra stop. And I believe there are two trains that will take you there. I had to Google it and can't remember the ticket we had to buy. The people at the Venice train station were very helpful at the information desk though. The ride to the airport was about 15 minutes from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and you're right across the street from the supermarket. We were able to buy a couple beers to enjoy in the room and watch the sunset. Great experience!

« Wonderful moments in Hotel Airvenice »

We spent a wonderful night in Best Western Hotel Airvenice on Saturday 02. June 2017. We are absolutely satitsfied with everything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was so great, that the lady in the reception gave us many informations and a city map to arrange a nice trip in Venice. The hotel room was clean, well equipped. The bed was huge and perfect to have a wonderful sleep in it. We enjoyed our stay in there so much. We would like to come back to Hotel Airvenice in the summer! (We will appreciate, if we get a discount for that. :))

« Value for money and excellent customer service »

We stayed at Best Western Hotel AirVenice on two separate nights ( 3 and 8 May 2017) during our visit to Florence from Venice. The room is clean, of good size and well maintained. The breakfast is so good for the nominal price we paid. It is convenient to travel to Venice City from the hotel, about half an hour ride from Quarto D'Altino train station. In addition, the free airport shuttle service is a real bonus as taxis can cost around 55 Euro for a 20 min ride to Marco Polo airport. Most of all, we were impressed with the excellent customer service. Valentina was so helpful and kind to provide us with free shuttle to the train station on the day we travelled to Florence. On our return from Florence, we are so thankful that we were able to have free shuttle from the train station to the hotel. Our sincere thanks to the front desk staff , especially Valentina , Irene and Yasser for their warm welcome and help during our stay.

« Clean Hotel and friendly customer service »

The customer service was awesome and helpful. The room, bathroom and dining room very clean. Close to the train station. Had a bus to take you to the port if you are taking a cruise. Very quite and located in a nice area.

« Good hotel to rest and recoup »

Close to Quarto D'Altino train station (short walk) which you can go straight through to venice for a very small sum. They also provide a free shuttle service to the airport (even very early in the morning). I stayed one night and i had paid for breakfast the next day but my plane left at 6.30 in the morning. The very helpful staff packed up a nice breakfast for me and my two friends and send us off on our 4am shuttle to the airport. It is a nice (and reasonable priced) place to stay to rest and recoup before either heading into venice or heading off onto the next part of your journey

    4
« Very good value for a very good price »

The room is clean and well maintained. Linens smell fresh.Transportation to Venice city by train is within walking distance from the hotel.I did not know how to communicate with the hotel to arrange for a shuttle pick up at the airport so we had to take a taxi and paid 40 euro.I did not find their e-mail address to do so.Valentina at the reception was exceptional-pleasant and very helpful.

    « Tatijana »

The hotel is very nice, the room is clean and the breakfast is very rich. The stuff is very kind and helpfull. The place is very easy to find and in great location for who wants to visit Venice. The wifi works excellent. I would raccomand this hotel to everyone.

    4
« Very good hotel for taking rest »

It's a very standard hotel, very silent, nothing about luxury, nice room with big bathroom. They accepted our little dog without any charge. Breakfast could be better, but for the price we paid was good. Despite it's a bit far from Venecia, through highway is close (15 mins more or less), It's a highly recommendable hotel.

    5
« Not an airport hotel »

This hotel is advertised as an airport hotel. It is not. Check the location. It is a 20 minute drive to the airport. Shuttle must be booked ahead of time. There is a train station nearby, but you must walk to the hotel -- the train station is deserted --- there are no taxis waiting. Make sure you have your directions with you! The hotel is a typical western style hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is large. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I arrived at night and left early the following morning -- but it appeared that the hotel was in a nice location with some stores and restaurants nearby. If I were to do it over again, I would have stayed near the Mestre train station and taken the bus to the airport instead of staying at what I thought was a typical airport hotel. My mistake -- I didn't check it out well enough. Hopefully this will help others making the same decision.

    « A Wonderful Stay »

I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was small but manageable and the shower was great - strong pressure and high heat. It was in a convenient location - a 10 minute walk to the metro and a 4 minute walk to a lovely and delicious restaurant around the corner. It had a little strip mall across the street as well as a supermarket. It also had a small truck selling fresh fruit. I gave it 4 stars because the television did not have any English channels - I like to watch tv before i sleep. The front desk ladies were fantastic with directions and recommendations. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. i would definitely go back.

« Nice hotel, friendly staff »

Very nice staff. Comfortable & clean rooms, nice bed, large bathroom. Good breakfast (ham, cheese, fruits, vegetables, several types of bread, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, croissants, good selection of pastries, cereal, tee, coffee, juices). Parking lot free of charge available for guests. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. Cons: The wifi was NON EXISTENT :) hence, I would not recommend this hotel to business travelers who need internet connection for work. I was not even able to download my emails. I also didn't like the fact that the a/c was off (they informed us it's off in the rooms because it was off the season - April), however I prefer much cooler temperature when I sleep, it was really warm, eventually we had to go downstairs and ask for a bucket of ice to cool down our water and be able to fall asleep :)

« Good value for money. »

Breakfast is continental type with various options from which you can select whatever please you ; The hotel is located close to the railway station,if you want to take the train to Venice but also close to the highway in case you want to drive to Venice or any other place.

« Good value with shuttle to/fro airport »

The hotel is 20-25 minutes from/to airport by car. The hotel provide free airport pickup and drop off. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed was comfortable and clean. The distance to Quorto D'Altino railway station is about 1km with walking time 10-15 minutes.

« Clean, comfortable, close to train station to Venice »

Stayed overnight here while on our contiki tour of Italy in May 2012. Rooms were standard as anywhere. Clean and comfortable. We walked to catch the train into Venice which was about a half hour ride, then a boat up the grand canal, then onto st. Marks square area. Decent sized room and bathroom compared to some of the smaller European rooms we'd stayed in earlier for double occupancy. Located near the airport.

    3
    « Average property »

I visited this property on 15th June 2016. It is located near airport out of the main city. Rooms are not very good. Services and amenities are okay. Food also needs improvement. Overall it is a average property.

    4
    « Good value »

The hotel was good value - walking distance from the train station and about 25 minutes train ride to Venice. It was comfortable and the breakfast buffett had a good variety of both sweet and savoury. We enjoyed our 2 night stay - staff were helpful and friendly.

« Good value but bit out of date »

Hotel is located in quiet area near main road. STAFF is polite, cheerful and professional. ROOMs are clean but the whole hotel and rooms are very worn off. Would need an upgrade. BREAKFAST was great, plenty to choose from. Private parking was also handy. Correct address is: Piazza Porta Altinate 30020 Quarto d'Altino, Venice Italy

« Helps to save when visiting Venice »

This is a good option if you want to save on your visit to Venice. Hotel is located 10 minutes walking distance to the train station (there is plenty of parking by the train station), and train takes you to Venice in approximately 25 minutes. Hotel offers free parking, if breakfast is not included in the rate, it only costs 1 EUR per person :) Breakfast had many items. Rooms were standard. Thanks !

    « Best Western Hotel - Airvenice »

Very pleased with our stay, transportation, breakfast and internet at this hotel. This hotel offered free airport shuttle to the hotel and it is within walking distance of the Quarto d'Altino train station giving us easy access to Venice. We stayed here prior to our cruise ship departing from Venice and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

    « A Nice Stop before a Cruise »

We checked into the hotel in the afternoon of Nov 4 before departing on a cruise from Venice on the following day. The front desk and check-in was nice. Our room, which was on the 3rd floor, was nice. with a view of the property behind us. We were only minutes away from a train station where we could go downtown to the area of the canals. This Best Western has a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. On this occasion, the restaurant was closed for this Friday's dinner, but was open for a buffet breakfast in the morning of the 5th. It was wonderful. The room had a comfortable bed with a nice shower. It also had a bidet beside the toilet. They didn't have any face towels/cloths, only hand towels and bath towels. Overall, the place is reasonably priced for all that's offered. I'd probably stay here again since they did offer free shuttle service from the airport. For 10 euros per person, they also offer service from the hotel to the cruise port. The restaurant meals are extra. For us we got our dinner at the nearby Ritz Carlton; a free shuttle ride to and from our hotel.

    « Would Stay Again »

Hotel offered free airport shuttle and shuttle was on time to pick us up. When we arrived at the hotel, Elisa was at the entrance of the hotel to greet us. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. All the staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. The hotel is not located in a tourist area, but the area is very quiet with nice homes. There is a supermarket very close and the prices are very reasonable. There are a couple of restaurants close by. My daughter, her friend and I had the family room. The family room consisted of a queen size bed and two single beds. To my surprise, the family room is an adjoining room. The queen size bed is a separate room and the two twins are in the next room. So we had 2 refrigerators and 2 safes. The only drawback was the handicap shower in the queen bedded room. No big deal to me. The breakfast for 2 euros was not bad. The shuttle from the hotel to the cruise port was only 10 euros. There was two faults that I found with this hotel. To be an American chain, there was not one American tv channel. There wasn't even BBC. Also the carpet in the rooms needed to be cleaned. Other then this, the hotel was great. Would definitely stay again.

    « Good value »

We stayed at this hotel overnight since it was close to the airport. Our room was modern, clean, and spacious. Really liked the bathroom as it was roomy and had several shower items. They also offer free coffee/tea in the room...you just have to ask for it. There was a mini frig in our room. For convenience, there's a restaurant near the lobby. We ate dinner there and were the only customers. The meal wasn't hot but we were hungry. Breakfast is included in the hotel fee with a nice variety of food. The free airport transportation was helpful to us. The staff was nice. Overall, for the price this hotel met our needs and was a good value.

    « A great stay »

My husband and I along with friends stayed here for pre cruise and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good and rooms were big, decorated nicely and good beds. The location was great also, short walk to rail station . The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

« Friendly staff, Clean, Close to Airport, Free shuttle »

We stayed here the night before we flew out of Marco Polo Airport in Venice. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. The lobby is updated and comfortable, with comfortable seating and a bar. Our room was updated and immaculate, with hairdryer and shampoos/soaps. The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't tiny either and was bright from both a big window and plenty of lighting. The shuttle: Reserve your desired time slot when you make your reservation. We had to leave about an hour early because later shuttles were filled up. My fault for not taking care of that detail. The shuttle really did take only 10-15 minutes from door to door. The breakfast: Beautiful spread with meats & cheeses, yogurt, breads, rolls, and cakes, cereals, and more. For 2 Euros, a real bargain. If you have to leave before breakfast is ready, you can order a 2 Euro breakfast box to take with. The dinner: We ate dinner at the restaurant because we just didn't feel like going out. I had read a lot of conflicting views about dinner here. Yes, the waiter cooked/heated up our dinner, but it was good quality. The pork and potatoes were tasty and the green beans perfectly done. Is it fine dining? No. But it was an affordable and convenient alternative to walking to a restaurant somewhere else. The location: 26 minutes by train from Venice. Go inside the big train station in Venice to the Trenitalia desk, where you take a number for the Regional help desk. They'll help you find a train, sell you your ticket, and tell you which platform to leave from. Validate your ticket at the green machine on the platform before you get on the train. We stayed for convenience to the airport, but other people were using this as their home base in Venice. Highly recommended.

    « WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! »

The stuff was unfriendy, horrible attitude, dirty room, simply the worst experience ever! We could not sleep beacuse of all the noise in this hotel. Breakfast was not fresh, the plates were dirty, there was nothing that deserves a positive grade. This is simply not a 4 star hotel!

« Super clean and modern, much better than we expected for the low price. »

We travel 20 times+ times per year and the cleanest room ever. Very quiet also. For additional $2. you get a full American type breakfast, something we were looking for. Best restaurant in 10 days in Italy, (they were all good), about 5 minutes or less was, al Portico Pizzeria Da Asporto! Don't let the name fool you, even though we had 2 Awesome Pizzas, (best ever also), Super Pasta, Big fresh salads, the Best tomato salad to go on fresh bread, AND the best Staff in Italy!!!

« Nice Hotel to stay »

We stayed with our 28 months son for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel Staff was friendly. Nice size room & also free shuttle from airport(they have specific times so pre-book). Venice is easliy accesible by train(3.75 Euro pre adult), station is 10 mins walk.

    « clearly avoid »

very very remote area and no connecting faciltites to venice on regular basis the nearest train station is deserted and no taxis available . need to walk almost a kilometer and half to reach the hotel . The taxi person called by hotel charged us 97 Euros !! we felt cheated . regular taxi services charge about 45 Euros and on reporting this to their front desk with the receipt of taxi , they offered to take it to management .But i doubt this will happen and eagerly wait for the day it will happen . The breakfast was OK and not upto the mark . restaurant also has limited options and nearby hotels we can place the order . my request to the Hotel at least have a shuttle bus to Venice as a courtesy to customers .!! over all i would never recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit venice .

    « Amazing hotel! »

We stayed here for only 1 night after our cruise. What a wonderful find! While it is a ways from Venice itself, it is located near the airport and in a lovely residential area. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, multi-lingual and very accommodating. We arrived much earlier than check-in time and they did everything to accommodate us. They even offered us a glass of prosecco while we waited. The room was spacious and the bathroom really big and modern. Free shuttle service to the airport was also a plus. Would definitely return here.

    « Not recommended »

This was not the hotel booked, Crown Plaza was over booked and transferred me. It is utility in every sense. Worst feature is the waterproof cover under the bed sheet. While this protects the mattress it is both uncomfortable and induces perspiration. Breakfast was marginally better than dinner. It is cheap and it shows. The staff could not be nicer. Best Western, this was disappointing. I could say more.

    « Great Location »

I stayed here one night before a cruise .I had prebooked the airport shuttle and the hotel sent me a map with the meeting point marked .The shuttle arrive on time and directed us to the shuttle .Easiest transfer yet . The hotel is in a nice walkable area. The hotel will give you a time table and directions to the train station which is a 10 min walk from the hotel. A quick train ride and you are in Venice . There is also a supermarket across then street from the hotel . The buffet breakfast was included in my booking but cost 2 euro if not and was a lovely breakfast nice selection of hot an cold foods . There is a shuttle to the cruise terminal for 10 euro a bit more expensive than taking the train but easier due to having luggage .

« Location and price good »

This was our last stop at the end of a three week vacation which started Venice. The hotel is reasonably price, located close to the airport and provides a free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was free but we had to be at the airport at 4:00 am so we did not have any. Staff was very helpfully and friendly. The rooms are dated and the carpet in our room was filthy. The carpet should be changed, but the dated furniture in the rooms are not that bad. Bathroom is okay, but I could hear the noises from the neighboring bathroom in our room.

« Near Marco Polo Airport »

The hotel is about 10 kms from airport. Location and price is reasonal. Carpet floor and bed need updating. The charge of €2.00 for breakfast is worth it. WIFI is good. There is a Supermarket about a block away.

    « Hotel near Venice »

The hotel was clean, staff was very helpful with check-in as well as helping with transportation in and out of Venice. Hotel was okay for two night stay but a ten minute walk to train station and 25 minute train ride to Venice was a bit long. Taxi service was $130 Euro round-trip - A bit expensive. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel.

    « Comfortable hotel »

Quiet, frendly hotel, clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious, very good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free wifi in the room. Venice city center is 25 minutes. I liked the red flower stand at the entrance :) Grazie, arrivederci! Mr&MrsJuhasz

« Clean but Overvalued with poor air conditioning. »

This was the sister property for the apparently overbooked guests staying at the Crowne Plaza East. Last thing we needed was a move to another hotel. They drove us to the hotel. We arrived exhausted and ended up having to stay in this tiny cramped room. The room was clean with minimum amenities like 4 plastic glasses for water. The air conditioner could not cool down the room. This is a basic two star hotel nothing more. It was very disappointing because we had booked and paid for a better class hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would never stay in this hotel again. Could be a good deal. It was not the room that I booked through our travel agent.

    « Excellent value »

Staff very helpful especially reception good communication. we had a free pick up from airport and very good transfer to cruise terminal at a very reasonable cost Room clean and excellent value including breakfast at only 2€ how can you complain at that. For our purposes for a night stay before a cruise we could not have chosen better no hesitation to recommend.

« Close to the railway »

Although the hotel is far away from Marco Polo airport (which has very poor public transport possibilities, especially later in the evening) we booked this hotel thanks to their transport service. Our flight was delayed and arrived 20 minutes late. The driver waited: an outstanding service.,the hotel surrounding is not very nice, neither the lobby bar. Rooms are adequate as are the beds.

    3
    « reasonable »

we were traveling around Europe and we think this hotel is ok for one night. Close to highway for those like us who want to visit Venice and move the next day. Breakfast is simple but better than we expected for this hotel.

« Good location and Excellent Hotel »

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Free transfer from airport started the stay well and the fabulous service from Irene really made you feel welcome. Although the hotel is 20 mins from the centre of Venice it's very much within in reach. We loved the local ice cream shop and the pizza restaurant around the corner. Also very handy to have a supermarket across the road. Train station 10 mins away, pleasant walk. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good.

    5
    « Family stay »

Excellent stay for our family for 2 nights. Lots of free parking - we had a rental vehicle, grocery store and good restaurant within an easy walk , easy access to the train into Venice. Rooms were clean , beds were comfortable, great free breakfast and staff were very helpful . Location is a bit tricky to find at first

    « Perfecto »

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight in the airlift hours of the 4th Aug2016 The gentleman in front of house was superb. Friendly, spoke good English. At 01:00 am, he was extremely patient, even gave us the option to check -out at later than the usual time of 10:30. Even managed to Furnish us with details and map of how to get to Venice and purchasing the correct tickets. A taxi from Venice Marco Polo is less than 20mins costing approx €35- 40. Breakfast was superb. Tell me where in the world you can have a cooked and continental breakfast for 2 euros? At check- out, the lady at front of house was equally helpful, providing us with additional information. I could write for ever. In a nutshell, if you are not driving, this hotel is not too far from the airport. Approx 10 mins walk to the train station for Venice Maestra. it's perfect for a few nights stay.

    4
« Good value for money »

It's not super perfect but it's definitely worth the money. Very affordable, clean rooms, friendly receptionists although the cleaning service not super friendly, decent breakfast. Just to set the expectation: it's a bit far from everywhere, and you have to walk for 15 mins from the nearest station. But from that station (Quatro D'Altino) you can go everywhere popular in Venice.

« Fair review on what isn't right with the hotel. »

It would have been nice if the first thing said to me was "breakfast isn't included on your booking". It was only €2 and was good. I was stopped from taking a couple of rolls with ham out of the canteen which I usually do to provide a snack for mid-morning. Wifi was fine for surfing web-pages, but really hung up on streaming YouTube despite having a strong signal. Otherwise a really good experience, very helpful staff on the desk and the room was air-conditioned, and pristine every evening when I returned to take a great shower. I took the free-shuttle back to the airport.

    4
    « No problems »

Everything ok. No problems. Just what you expect. Breakfast is reasonable (they had a great apple pie). The hotel is very near to highway and not too far from Venice. It is nice and quiet hotel. Great for business visit.

    « Good stay »

Good clean hotel with facilities u would expect such as safe, tv, fridge, kettle. I stayed with 3 kids. Breakfast only 2euro if book on first day, well worth it. There is a supermarket within a 2 min walk and restaurants and ice cream parlours. About a 15min walk to train station but feels shorter and train to Venice about 3 euros each way and 20min journey. Well worth the hassle of carrying cases over bridges snd trying to find your hotel in Venice. I would stay here again definately.

    « One night stay »

A very well maintained hotel, few minutes away from the train station to Venice and in a quite secluded area and felt very safe neighbourhood. Reception staff very friendly and room spotless. Highly recommended. KR Ray

    3
« Far from the important things »

We knew that was not in Venice, but the transportation cost, the time and carrying the bags 15 minutes under the sun in summer to reach the train station makes me think twice about our decision for choosing this hotel. They should consider a transport service from the hotel to the train station. The general service change from person to person.

    3
    « Venice visit »

The location is quite and easy to find, the front desk clerk Michele was very nice and helpful, he gave all the information for a visit in Venice. Is not a hotel for a weekly vacation! If you stay 1-2 nights is OK. The blankets in the rooms are not covered in a sort of envelope sheet, they argued that this is Italy(Fabio was the name of the clerk). After I made a small scandal they provided a new one....Breakfast very poor, no vegetables! Coffe is bad, eggs the same...

    4
    « Wonderful Surprise »

I needed a place to stay for 1 night before my early flight from Venice. The hotel is just 15 minutes drive, so it's very convinient. The hotel is very nice, the room was spacious with a good large bed. Nice bathroom, clean and spoiling. Breakfast was very good, choise of food was excellent. The stuff was very kind and helpful. The neighbourhood is a quite one, which was exactly what I needed. Still there are several nice restaurants in the vicinity, some within walking distance.

    4
    « Better than I expected! »

Before we went to this hotel I went on trip advisor to look at the reviews. I was worried because I saw recent negative reviews. When we arrived the rooms were actually very clean and the staff were very friendly. If you're coming from the US and are complaining about the breakfast you have to realize that Europeans eat differently. I enjoyed their breakfast! The hotel is not in Venice so you do have to take a train. The train station is about a 10 min walk and it takes you directly to the heart of Venice. There is a restaurant not too far from the hotel and my family and I enjoyed it. Their pizza was delicious!

« Good hotel but only for 1 night! »

Good hotel to stay before or after the airport. Clean and nice. We did not get a chance to eat breakfast because had to leave very early for the airport. But, we had dinner there. Dinner was horrible. The waiter was the cook! He told us that everything was frozen and he only had to heat it and serf it. One of the dinner came in the frozen box like you would buy in the grocery store. Very strange. Don't eat dinner there unless you absolutely have to.

    « First Hand Remedy »

We were supposed to stay at Best Western Hotel Airvenice but there was an issue with a pipe that burst in our room so they moved us to Ambra their sister hotel a block away. We did enjoy the free shuttle that took us to Best Western, but it took forever because it partners with Crowne Plaza in shuttling their guests as well. We had to walk to the Ambra hotel, BUT they worked everything out for us and we got a free shuttle lift to our cruise line because we had to walk to the other hotel, Ambra, and back to Best Westerner the next day, which saved us 30 euros. It stinks that Best Western had a pipe burst and we had to do some shuffling but they did a great job of finding us a room and then giving us a free lift to our cruise port which is why I wanted to rate them.

    5
« excellent for the price »

nice clean and modern room, friendly staff. train station is ten minutes away walking(with an heavy trolley) shuttle to the airport is free and runs from 4am to 10 pm seriously i can really understand the bad reviews.. it is a clean nice hotel, room are better than what i was expecting and the price is a steal(booked with orbitz for less than 50 euro breakfast and shuttle included)

    « average hotel »

the hotel is quite far from venice city. breakfast was excellent with many varieties of cheese and meats for sandwiches and salads. Cereals and breads were good too. They had a range of fresh baked pies which i personally loved. Rooms very of a good size and quite comfortable, there are no kettles, tea or coffee in the rooms. TV only has italian channels. Wifi is free and signal is strong across the rooms. the could be more polite though.

    5
    « Excellent »

Definitely a good choice for a hotel at half distance between airport and Venice. For those who want to avoid the crowds of tourists in Venice, this is the place. Very quiet and paceful, clean, the staff is helpful..but.. a little advice: When you will ask for a restaurant suggestion at the reception, they will say that they only know about one restaurant near the Crowne Hotel ( which is a partener ). I haven't tested it yet, but there are a lot of good restaurants in the area.

    3
« Good for short term stay »

I made the mistake of booking this hotel (non refundable rate) before checking the airport shuttle times - the shuttle service ends at 10pm. Our flight landed after that so we had a pretty expensive 50 euro cab ride to this hotel. The front desk staff was helpful and explained how to get to the train station in the morning. It ended up being a 15 minute walk to the station. Breakfast was great - toast, veggies, cheese, pastries, some hot food. Excellent selection and made it well worth it, especially given the 2 euro per person price, I recommend doing it. The room and bathroom was large. It was clean but something was off. Not sure if it was the décor, or scent or something else. Just off... The bed was large and not very comfortable. I believe they put together two double beds, so there was a gap in the middle. This hotel is not recommended for a stay to visit the old city of Venice, it is too far. It was cheap though, so if you don't mind taking the train in everyday, it could work.

    4
    « Quiet neighborhood - nice hotel »

I was able to get a shuttle here from airport which saved a lot of money because it's quite a distance away. The staff was very kind and helpful. My rate included breakfast buffet which offered a lot of food including eggs and sausage, many pastries and fruit, cereal, breads. The restaurants nearby are well priced and close walking distance. The train station is the only means of transportation, unless you rent a car, and it is 10 minute walk. It only costs a few euros to get a ticket in to Venice for the day. I also took the train all the way to Trieste to get on a cruise ship and was less than $20 euros for couple hour ride through the country to the northeastern coast. Nice quiet, less populated location with easy access to Venice. Rooms clean, very large and quiet. I would stay here again.

    1
    « Awful food »

We got served a black color see food and pasta dish which was terribly awful. And we had to pay 3 EUROs for each bottle of water they served to the table. However they have good rooms with enough facilities.

    3
« Clean, nice Hotel but too far from Venice »

We had a two night stay in this clean, quiet hotel. The area is nice, however we had a bit of struggle to find a decent place for breakfast on the first day. The train station is a good 7-8 minutes walk from where it takes 25-35 min to go to Venice by train(each way costs €3.35). The price we paid we could have used it to get a hotel in Venice as there is nothing to do at night. There is a nice pizzeria near the hotel. The breakfast was okay, nothing to get excited over. The staffs were helpful about directions. Overall, good place to be if you want to be away from Venice and live in a quiet place. May not revisit as it is not in the main Venice.

    3
    « Ok hotel »

We reserved this hotel since it is close to the airport. Requested a room for 2 adults and 2 children. The room had a queen bad and sofa bed. The room we got was extremely small. There was not space to even put our bags in the room. The breakfast was Ok (not great). There are nice restaurants near by. Our stay was not bad but this is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

    3
    « Room was nice »

The hotel told us there would be a shuttle at the airport to collect us, that was an exercise in frustration but we finally connected. What we didn't know was that it was not complimentary shuttle. Close enough to the train station that you can go back and forth to the "islands" of Venice easily, make sure you have cash for the ticket machines. The breakfast is complimentary... and it was OKAY at best. Their Cappuccino was far superior when you paid for it then the one included with breakfast. There was not sign in the room but there were water bottles in the fridge. It was only upon check out that we found out that THEY were NOT complimentary. For a couple of days, the hotel is fine.

    4
    « Nice hotel »

We booked this hotel when we drove to Venice and wanted something descent close to Venice. This place is bit far from Venice but yes the hotel pays off. Nice rooms, clean bathrooms and excellent service. Highly recommended hotel.

    2
« Room is fine. Breakfast was awful. »

The hotel itself is not in a particularly nice area. Having said that we only stayed in Airvenice because it is only 30 minutes drive away from Treviso Airport. The room was simply decorated and clean. Check in took quite a while (around 15 minutes) even though the room was prebooked and already paid for. The breakfast was awful. Several items were either off or uneatable. There was a selection of ham on the breakfast bar which was colourless and its smell was unbearable. The coffee was rancid and had a sour taste to it. I've expected better from a Best Western Hotel!

« Fantastic reception service and excellent room »

Couldn't have been happier - spacious, clean, light, well ventilated, comfortable room. We were visiting Venice each day and returning to the AirVenice to sleep. Turned out to be a perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle each day and the amount of room space we got for our money was incredible! Reception staff were ridiculously helpful and very polite. We checked in 5 hours early (not a problem) and requested a kettle and tea service (not a problem). They offered lots of useful advice on public transport too.

    4
« One of the better hotels experienced in Italy »

As per my title. Upon completion of our Italian tour I conclude that this was the best 4 star hotel we stayed in throughout our travel through the various Italian cities. The breakfast spread was lavish for Italian standards. Free wifi in rooms which now I realise is a Luxury (for tourists) in Italy! Service was pleasant. Hotel is a good 20-30 minute drive from Venice.

    5
« Great Hotel for a Venetian Trip »

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms were spacious by European standards. All the furnishings were new and clean. Front desk staff were very service-oriented. The full breakfast far exceeded most Italian hotels. It's a bit out of town from Venice but it is only about a 10min walk to the local train station that gets you right into Venice. It would be difficult to get a better-priced location in the Venice area that has such a nice quality level. It's located in a very quiet area with no real night life - however there is great restaurant nearby - Ristorante Pizzeria Vecio Decimo - reasonable prices and great food.

    3
« Lovely hotel, very quiet area »

We stayed at the Best Western which was great for the quality and standard of the room but the dinner in the restaurant is edible but there is no choice or variation it is the same options every night. There is also almost nothing to do in the way of entertainment in Quarto d'altino which was disappointing as you are then required to spend money and go into venice for longer as you are then stuck in your room. The staff on the whole were very friendly, especially the ladies that work in the restaurant and reception. Overall it was a brilliant trip that with a few minor amendments could have been amazing.

    4
« Excellent Staff and lovely Bar! »

Stayed in this property for two nights. Big, cosy and convenient rooms. Waiting area and Bar closes around 11. I went out at 3 am for smoke and I found entire group of Contiki downstairs. Far away from main city, advisable only for group bookings. Wifi was paid.

    5
    « Hotel too far »

We had a fantastic stay at the best western, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and well presented. The menu offered a verity of choice and was very good. The down side was we did not release how far away from Venice we were, and how this would impact on our time frame for a short 2 day visit. Although the staff were very informative on how we could get in to Venice and the train being the most inexpensive form of transport.

    4
« Convinient to visit Venezia »

Very nice and serviceminded personal. Unusual good cleaning. Good breakfast and quite surrondings. Fine restaurants with exelent food and very nice serving people in the near of the hotel. Very nice place to stay for a acceptable price going to see Venice (Venezia) - 700 meters from the railwaystation.

    5
    « Very Pleasant »

Hotel is on the mainland not too far from the airport. It was clean. We walked around and ate dinner at a wonderful restaurant around the corner. We even saw a wedding. Hotel was clean and the hotel staff were very helpful. They even found cheaper transportation to the Cruise port. Bathroom was clean and modern. Very relaxing and the bed was very comfortable.

    5
    « Comfortable and easy »

I have spent a couple of nights with my spouse after our midetranean cruise. Despite the fact it is located 25 miles from Venice, I felt very comfortable to reach a 10 minutes' walk station with very frequent train trips. The staff has genuinely suggested a walk distance restaurant where we have had our most tasteful pasta which was homemade and well presented. I met two guys at the front desk who explained me much and more about the local history. I did not try the breakfast on my departure as I was in rush but it seemed attractive. It's definitely recommended .

    4
« not too far from Venice, nice staff, good service »

I spent three days in this hotel. It is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and the train station, only 700mt. Train tickets cost 3.30 euro per way and you can reach Venice in only 25 minutes. The room was lovely, the bed good and the bathroom was quite spacious and had everything one needed to be comfortable. I slept in a superior room (prosecco, bathrobe, slippers, full minibar) Also, the staff were all magnificent and went above and beyond to make my stay a better one. Overall, the experience was a great one and I will definitely consider this property when I return to Quarto d'altino.

Good location, close to the railway station, very easy to reach Venice by train. There is also a shuttle service to the airport. Amazing rooms, nice staff, good restaurant and breakfast. If you travel by car there is a large and quiet parking.

When we booked this hotel we were misled by its claim that it is close to the airport. It is not. It is located around 25-30 minutes from the airpor. The saving grace is that there is a train station just a short 10 minutes walk. Otherwise you would be isolated from the rest of the area in a boring town unless you have a car. The neighborhood is nice but there is only one restaurant in walking distance that I could find, but spite of being popular with the locals, the food was average at best and the service not the best (probably because it was crowded). Room are nice, clean and comfortable. It has working Wifi and local TV. Staff friendly and helpful. They speak spanish as well as english. It offers free airport shuttle from the Airport to the hotel but you pay 10 euros per person to go back to the airport (Taxis can be 50 euros). Located near a train station you are just around 20 minutes from Venice and you can connect to any train at the Venezia Mestre station. Would I stay again? Only if I had business in the area.
