    « A warm welcom in a cool place »

Very good service; but the food is rather ordinary. Watch out for cold drafts: the windows are not air-tight and there is no heating. We experienced 35 degree nights for three nights in October. Payment in advance was a surprise.

    « Good value »

The hotel staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean enough and a nice size. The bed was hard but still comfortable. The location is convenient to several restaurants but not to many attractions. The restaurant, however, was not very good. The food was bland and the service was slow. Overall, the hotel is a good value.

« Great place to stay »

Excelente servicio. Great service! Definitely would recommend and it's a nice a nice place to stay at and located in a nice area. Workers are great and help as much as they can. Definitely don't think anyone would regret staying here.

« Excellent stay for my 2 spring break trips! GREAT BREAKFAST!!! »

Puebla was the first stop on my two collegiate spring break / group study abroad trips to Mexico, and both times we spent the first 3 nights at this Best Western Plus hotel. Thankfully, our two professors were pretty fluent in the Spanish language, which allowed us to quickly check in (though if we needed anything the next 2 days, we had to use our broken Spanish to communicate or hope for an English speaker to be working that shift). The lobby is huge, with many multi-colored chairs throughout. I do not believe there is a staircase from the lobby floor to the the room floors, though I may be mistaken, so the elevator is all you get. When you get to your assigned floor, the hallways are poorly lit, so take it easy navigating your way. The rooms are pretty nice, especially for the affordable price. If I remember correctly, the TV was always fuzzy, so we never really tried using it. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. I never had any problems with the "thin walls", as noted by other reviewers. When I ran into hotel staff and other hotel guests, they were very nice and helpful. What really makes this hotel stand out is its prime location to the main street - Avenue Juarez, the hotel bar, pool, and AMAZING breakfast! Whether you are going for a Sunday walk (when the main streets are closed all day to allow the very family-orientated Mexicans to spend time in the community) on Juarez or are coming back from one of the great restaurant scenes, it's really nice that the Best Western is so close! However, since it is a block off Juarez, it doesn't get nearly as much noise, light, or distractions as if it was located right on the strip. And guess what, they even have a hotel bar at fair prices! After a night out, we all convened at this bar, watching a game on the TV, and boy, was it a perfect way to end the night! Plus, it was nice to try having a conversation in Spanish with the bartender, who was a great joy to be around. Every morning, if you had a ticket (I believe you had to pay beforehand), you could go down to the hotel lobby and enjoy their HEAVENLY breakfast. Anything you could possibly want in a meal was offered, though with a Mexican cuisine focus. There was fresh papaya and other fruit, strawberry or chocolate atole (a hot flavorful drink that you MUST try!), and other solid food options (including eggs, but also local favorites). You WILL get full, and incredibly satisfied. There are several waiters that attend to you, like helping you with drinks. Please leave a few pesos as a tip after your meal for them. Afterwards, feel free to enjoy the early morning sun at the pool located nearby. I truly believe that a good hotel is one that simply provides you a good place to sleep along with the option of breakfast. This location did both VERY WELL, especially that breakfast! I still have not had atole as good as they made it, and their genuine hospitality has been something I have come to know and love is very consistent in Mexico. iAmo Puebla!

« With no great expectations I could have chosen any motel for half of the rate »

I was looking for a low- middle range rate hotel within a chain that suffix my needs of lodging during Chistmas, taking in consideration it would be only to go late to sleep and leave early in the morning. The thing is that the noise you can hear at all time here maybe due to the thinnest of the walls, is something to consider, but if you put on top of that the fact that our room was flooding and we had to be moved at 1:30 am to another room and we did not even get a "thank you for being such accomodating" was what made our stay a no-come back one. They did not even apologize and you know, is not the money, but I could have asked for a reimburstment for the night they disturbed my sleeping with the lack of well maintenance by moving me into another room, and yet again they not only did not offer to have that complimentary night, but more over they charged me the parking fee they have.... again a no-coming back option. Rather be in an older, less expensive hotel in the heart of Downtown Puebla, that was our initial choice.

« Excellent service , the party event catered for my son was superb, above my expectations very professional service. »

I would highly recommend this location , rooms are very comfortable and clean , hidden from the main ave. ( Juarez) but very easy to access all points of interest and all specialty restaurants and bars , if you do not want to go out the hotel has a bar also and a wonderful refreshing pool for those very hot days.

    « Dusty and Dirty »

Place was not good very dusty and dirty. It was also insecure, since agents incorrectly assign room keys. I entered to an occupied room. Noise all night and people walking outside. Hotel is good and is located in a good place. It is needed more attention in above details.

    « Terrible »

Surely a place to never visit again. Complete disorganization with everything, horrible buffet breakfast, paper thin walls, clogged shower drain, window could not close all the way so we heard the city street sounds all night long. Could barely get some sleep. Valet parking took 30 minutes to fetch our car. Too bad we still have another night booked and have not found other vacant rooms anywhere near. Would not recommend to anyone.

    « Very basic hotel »

Hotel is basic, but I had some issues during my stay. First, the blackout was not propperly installed, so I had to call maintenance to fix it. Curtains were a bit stained, not a major issue, but for me that takes some points away. Second, there was some kind of convention, so there were a lot of people in the lobby. My room was on the first floor, so it was very noisy until late at night because of this. I asked for a room change, but they told me no more rooms were available. On its favor, the hotel does have a good location near avenida Juarez, and bathroom and room are ok. If it weren't for the issues above, I would give it a 3. I would only recommend it as a last option.
