« Lovely hotel and great staff »

Just come back from a mini weekend break , we found the hotel very clean and staff very welcoming and keen to help, room 404 had a great view looking over the park ,it's about a 15 min walk to get to the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants around,we will be going back in the summer booking this hotel ??

    « very pleased »

I stayed at this hotel and was very happy. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were very helpful. after waking up late from a nap all the surrounding restaurants had closed. The staff called around the restaurants to see if anywhere was open and when that failed fetched me bread, cheese and pate from the kitchen. I was very grateful to have something to eat. Location is great 20 mins walk into old town square and the park opposite the hotel is great. I plan on staying here again.

    « Old World Charm »

Very pleasant hotel with excellent staff ,decor although dated had a touch of another age.The hotel is located an easy 15min.stroll from Charles Bridge and very close to a tram line.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were both charming and helpful.Next to the hotel is Petrin Park and for the more energetic a climb to the top is rewarded with spectacturly views of Prague.

    « I was fine here ... »

Only problem is there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner. I rated the location as "average" because it is far away from the tourist attractions ... far away, not really! Prague is very small, but it's not in the center where I would imagine most people want to be. I had things to do in the neighborhood so I chose this location on purpose, making it "excellent" for me. Everyone was nice, good service, very clean ... nothing bad to say at all. I think it is maybe more expensive than other hotels in the same range, not sure. Still less than a Paris, NYC or London hotel! TIP: Use Uber. It's 1/2 the price of taxis and the cars are clean, as well as the drivers (the only cab I took was filthy, the driver had not bathed in a while, and he played heavy metal rock n' roll quite loudly.

    « Nice spot »

Lovely hotel. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Only bad thing was the bar service was very poor never got the same beer and they often ran out of what seemed a small supply. At least the bar man was tried his best for our party. Kinsky garden is well worth the tough walk up the hill.

    « Photography Group Weekend »

We (19 of us) stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful experience from the time of booking with Jirina who gave us a very good rate and was so patient with many changes to the booking as can happen with a large group. As were all the staff who helped us with booking restaurants for the group plus lots of helpful advice, booking taxis etc. Buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection something for everyone. The hotel is ideally located for all sites, is quiet, comfortable and really suited our needs. Minor challenges with some showers however, rectified quickly upon request. Very pleasant stay and would highly recommend. Rooms clean, comfortable and quiet - ??

« First time in Prague »

Very happy with overall experience with this hotel. Close to the city center. All of the staff was very helpful. Hotel is conveniently located slightly off beaten track next to park and lots of trees and greenery. Tesco nearby for amenities and snacks, drinks etc. Great value, clean neat and comfortable. Will stay there again.

    « Comfortable and Convenient »

The location was perfect for us. It is situated in a quiet area across from Kinsky Garden. We were able to walk to where we wanted to go without much effort which allowed us to see things we may have missed otherwise. The staff were helpful answering our questions. They were so patient in advising us on how best to navigate our way to the points of interest. The hotel is clean and updated. There is a delicious breakfast buffet.

    « Superb »

Hotel excellent quiet hotel good location near trams if you don't like walking. Staff friendly and lovely breakfast. Has a lift and not a big hotel only saw people at breakfast. Hotel has trips if you wish although we just done our own but river trip wished we had done.

    « A decent stay »

This hotel was a last minute find after another option proved to be too expensive (an issue in Prague, especially in Summer!). We were in a twin room (two relatives travelling together) and it was generally a very comfortable stay. The room itself was lovely (306), the beds comfortable and it was clean. The shower didn't work 100% (it leaked through the bath spout at the same time you were showering) but it did the job and it was just for one night, so we didn't bother making an issue of it. We were very impressed with the breakfast. The staff were helpful and it's a good location for the gardens (and right near the funicular) and the castle district, as you just jump on a tram up towards there. Also handy for trams to the other side of the river, and the Old Town.

    « Very bad experience »

The staffs are nice but the hotel is not as what is being advertised. We booked for 4 nights but had to leave the second day and pay for another hotel. The location is good but the hotel is not clean. You can see stains everywhere. The bathroom is not clean. There was an old smell in the corridors. Not sure whom gave them 4 stars! It was our first anniversary trip with a very bad memory.

    « City Break »

Lovely clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Downside was they gave us a disabled room. We were told the hotel was full so we presumed had no choice. Nothing wrong with the room if you didn't mind the handles on the walls. Rails in the bathroom, no bath. The biggest downside was the toilet was too high. My feel didn't even touch the floor so very uncomfortable. Location was quite a distance from the shops and the old town but enough bars and restaurants in walking distance.

    « City Break »

We emailed the hotel just before we were due to stay to ask for a double bed as most hotels put you in twin beds. We had our wish granted. We have to say the hotel overall is good the downsides were aircon isn't very good and the breakfast wasn't to our liking so we only ate here twice. The rooms are very nice thou I have to say but would be better suited if more channels on the TV were available to the English as all we got to watch were news channels.

    « Worst hotel ever! »

I stayed here 2 nights. On the first day we arrived we had to move hotel rooms 3 TIMES!! First room had a broken fridge for mini bar and dodgy electricity. Second room had a bathroom that flooded every time we washed out hands! Then finally 3rd room was one bed (asked for a twin). Apart from that end of day 1 was acceptable. Then day 2 we couldn't get in our room because the electronic lock was broken. The receptionist had to come up and change it over. Receptionist was very helpful but over his head and almost crying... but management were nowhere to be seen. I complained by email and rather than be at hotel as receptionist said they would they left a message and they offered 20% off stay. I would have at least expected day 1 to be free given they made a physically disabled person pack/unpack and move luggage 3 times without any assistance and no apologies. This was insulting. The rooms are dated, clearly there are several rooms in need of repair. Save your money and just stay in a cardboard box in the park across the road- you will have just as much facilities and probably a more pleasurable stay. Breakfast is poor. If you like sausage and eggs you'll be fine, otherwise your choice is choc muesli, plain yogurt or some sweet pastries. Hotel has no ice machine and when asking for ice at bar I was told no because they don't have much (here's a thought- why not go to Tesco at bottom of street and get some ice!) if you have a physical disability this hotel has several stairs leading up to lifts and steps from outside- so not wheelchair accessible. I walk with a stick and struggled some days to get from reception to lifts. This is supposed to be a 4* hotel. I suggest they regrade it 1*- I have seen more appealing bus stops I would rather sleep in, and with the prices they are charging I expect better. They are clearly taking advantage that this is tourist season and seem to think this gives a free pass to get away with terrible service. Do yourself a favour and pick a different hotel.

« IT is not perfect »

Wellness first of all hotel has nice furniture, but room was not cleaned good. There were dust around furniture corners. Room is not very big, but itp enough for 3 days. There is brekfest in price which was pretty standard but not good enough for 4 star hotel. I Give 3 stars this time.

    « Really unpleasant »

I have been in this hotel 4 nights, the location is really nice but the lady of reception its really rude and unpleasant, I know that her work must to be quite hard sometimes when something its not right in the whole hotel and you have lots of complains at the same time(one day they did not have hot water), but If I am polite and nice with someone I would like to have the attitude for me.

    « Jana bar lady »

checking hotel out but not were we want to be. Saying that looked really nice and very clean.Stopped to have couple of drinks in bar.behind the bar was Jana a very nice lady who kept us very entertained and in fits of laughter on occasions. Would go back for a drink and maybe 2 if Jana was working.

« Close to the Kinky Garden! »

Transfer to here from the airport about 600 CZK. Good concierge who all speak English well. Room was available well before the 2pm check in and we were in the room by 1130. 5 min walk from the tram stop for 9 and 12 routes which take you straight to Wenceslas Square. A main tube station is about 10 min walk also. Breakfast time could get a bit crowded and didn't try the restaurant menu so cannot comment on that food but what we ate was nice. Would recommend and travel again

    « Good hotel »

Good location. Tram stop is five minute walking distance. You can walk to Charles Bridge in 10 minutes and to Old Town Square in 20 minutes. Breakfast that is free is very good and substantial. Bathroom shower stall is very small, so it may be very tight for a tall and bigger person. Other than that, bathroom is okay. Hotel provides a private pick up and drop off car service to main train station for 370 Kronas for 4 people. The only negative is that their A/C in the rooms did not work and there are no fans. So it was hard to sleep at night in the month of August when it was hot.

« Hotel very well placed »

Our room was on 3rd floor facing Petrin park & street. I was initially worried as I did not want to hear traffic. However, the windows keep out the street noise & we had a lovely view of greenery. We used the A/C every day as visit was in July/Aug. Breakfast is included and is ample....teas, coffee, cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit bowl, bread, croissants, toaster for bread, scrambled eggs & bacon (though not cooked as fully as north Americans like) and boiled eggs. We were able to have an filling b/fast before stopping for lunch around 1:30. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom facilities are clean and shower works very well, ample hot water. Kettle with tea & coffee in the room. There is also a little fridge in the room filled with small bottles of liquor , cold drinks. We used it to keep our water cold & milk that we had purchased for my tea. One block away is the Andel shopping centre (with large Testco and Marks & Spencer) and other well known stores. Subway stop Andel is also located here. Tram stop is at the end of the street, so you can easily take trams anywhere. Front desk staff always courteous, helpful, spoke English very well. We were able to park on the street for free, but as of Aug. 23, parking will have fees. There is a school nearby that allows the hotel residents to park for a nominal fee. I would stay there again.

    « Very good »

Just got back from Prague This hotel is very good Friendly staff and very clean Also it is in a good location 10 minute walk to the town square And castle Good breakfast every morning And when we needed help sort out taxi out The staff could not have been any more helpful Great stay

    « I will not visit again! »

First positive points. 1. Location if you are a runner and like to run in parks. Climbing in Kinsky garden is a perfect start on the day. 2. Quiet and silent hotel (I can not figure more positiv things from hotel point of view) Negative points (too many, sorry) 1. Really bad beds 2. Room was really small 3. If you closed the shower door you could not move your arms 4. The breakfast buffet was not a buffet from my experience 5. We booked a airport shuttle evening before departure from reception to following morning, shuttle never came and we had to order a regular taxi which was more expensive and we had to run through the airport. 6. 3rd night/morning there was a water leakeage in the kitchen at ground floor and we were without water whole morning. A chocolate bar was given to customers as excuse. Overall I can not understand how this hotel has as many stars it has.

    « gGreat value »

Excellent small hotel just off the main tourist area, but within a 20 min walk. bedroom was spotlessly clean and although a shower, there was plenty of hot water.Air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate with a good choice of hot and cold, yoghurt, fruit, cereals etc.Breakfast was available from 7.00 am so you could make an early start. There was a small bar and a limited range of food available, although I didn`t use it so can`t comment. If you want a quiet hotel, away from the centre this is for you.Across the road is a huge park where you can walk up to the top of Petrin Hill, Observatory and "Eiffel Tower" Staff were extremely helpful and understood English.

    « Poor customer service. »

Paid for room that was suppose to have air conditioning in it but within a few hours after checking in I realized the AC was broken. I requested the room be changed or be provided with a fan but they said they were fully booked. On top of that they did not even try to get it fixed or provide a fan. Yet they expect the full price for a AC room. Don't recommend them!

« great trip to pague »

The room at the hotel was a double but small , breakfast was good and the hotel and rooms clean. Has outside court yard which was nice however no bar service on the same floor. For me a little bit to far out of the center it is walk able and there is a tram line just down from the hotel but if your disabled defo not for you. Weather very hot while we where there which was great but aircon in room didnt do the job...........

« Good hotel for exploring Prague »

The Kinsky Garden Hotel is just outside the Centre of Prague, but with a stop for the excellent, frequent (2-3 mins) tram right outside. 3 minute ride to Charles Bridge. Hotel is old, with interesting features, and very well modernised. Bedrooms clean and with all expected facilities, including excellent shower and coffee-making. Buffet breakfast particularly good. Limited bar facilities but plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants nearby. Would definitely rebook!

« Nice quiet yet convenient location »

Hotel Kinsky Garden is located, as you may guess, opposite a large park that leads across to the castle. Situated a couple of blocks from the river front, the hotel is well placed to walk to most places to visit within the city. While the road outside is busy the noise ceased totally on closing the triple glazed windows! The room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Linen was changed daily. Breakfast was self serve and included the usual continental items in abundance with eggs and bacon to boot. Staff are very polite and helpful. We took advantage and pre booked an airport transfer. Our ride was there waiting despite us arriving 30 minutes early! One thing - the beds are at best described as 'firm'. This was our first trip to Prague and we will definitely use this hotel again if we return.

    « Good value »

We stayed for 4 nights on our first visit to Prague. The rooms are nice and clean and slightly bigger than other typical European hotels. The decor is a bit dated and the furnitures in the lobby can do with a bit of renewal. The buffet breakfast was pretty decent and we could always find a table. A good 15-20 mins walk to Old Town and lots of nice restaurants nearby.

« No AC in July »

The hotel is located a few blocks from the river in a slightly depressed area with a fair amount of graffiti. The hotel offers wifi, and a computer and printer, a basic bar and a good breakfast. The rooms are decent but on the small side. Unfortunately the AC on our room did not work and from conversations with other guests this was not unique. Since the hotel is on a busy road, just opening a window was not really an option. After the first n night I asked for it to be fixed. No go and no notification. After the second night, I asked to be moved to another room and they did without a problem. For the money, I feel I should be able to expect more in Prague.

« Short Trip to Prague »

This was our second visit to Kinsky Gardens and we were not disappointed. Our room was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is on the edge of the "Lesser Town", but only a relatively short walk or tram ride to the main sites. There a variety of local bars and restaurants which due to the location are very well priced.

    « Hotel »

Stayed here on our visit to Prague. Lovely hotel, within walking distance of all the sites. Rooms comfortable, clean and Tea/ coffee facilities. Breakfast was good and variety from hot and cold. Easy walking distance for all the sites. We definitely stay here again.

    « Charming place »

Kinsky-Garden is an amazing place. The staff is very professionnal and gentle. They do everything to council et support customers who discover Prag. Rooms are pretty and comfortable; very clean too. We shall keep a good souvenir of this week spend in Best Western Kinsky Garden. We expect the nexte visit there. Just a thing : This hotel has no restaurant but, in the neighborhood restaurant are numerous, rather good and cheap.

« Great location and quiet rooms »

We stayed in Room 104 and even though it overlooked a very noisy road, it had double windows so was soundproofed. It was also at end of corridor and away from lift shaft. We used earplugs also and were rewarded with silent nights. Our room was spotless. Breakfast was very crowded, the hot food small and under-stocked and we felt sorry for the poor lone waitress trying to cope with all this, im sure she was exhausted. But the buffet selection was amazing. The bed was great, we got 2 singles pushed together so plenty of space. The air conditioning was fine, and really needed as the room was very hot. Some staff spoke good English, some struggled. I have deducted a star due to some baffling failings, such as no replenishment of coffee/milk sachets, removing our 2 towels for 1,giving us a single size duvet cover instead of a sheet we requested as we found the quilt too hot ( that made us laugh anyway). With the exception of the sheet request which we gave up on after 2 attempts, staff did sort hitches for us. I would recommend this hotel as it is away from the rowdy areas, yet close to Petrin Hill, and quiet at night. Here are my tips: 1) When first arriving here are the bearings: leave hotel and turn right. After walking about 100 feet max you arrive at busy junction with pedestrian lights. Cross these and walk left. Keep straight and Charles Bridge is about 15-20 mins away. Petrin Hill is on your left en route, perhaps 5 mins away from hotel. 2) There is a massive Tesco situated inside a massive 3 story shopping centre 10 mins from Hotel. Its on the next street to left of Hotel. There are also very good small supermarkets on the way to Charles Bridge direction. 3) Tram stop is just round corner from hotel and simple to use. Hotel doesnt sell them, despite saying so in book, we purchased tickets in supermarkets with credit card. 4) Restaurants nearby are excellent and "tourist-trap" free. 5) There is a handy weather forecast print out pinned to wall in way into breakfast room. Wifi is strong in lobby area.

« Nice hotel in good location at very good rate »

Our room was 108 which was nice and good size with all mod cons overlooking Kinsky Park. Bed was nice and comfortable. We stayed four nights and it was kept nice and clean. Daily breakfast was good with various options. Public transport was just 100yards away. The staffs were good, friendly and helpful. Fridge and AC in the room which can be very handy on nice, sunny and hot days. We booked the hotel through at very good discounted rate. The flight was with Smartwings ? the price includes hold luggage. Taxi from/to airport with prague-airport-transfers ? a free 4 hour walking tour of Prague is included as option. I would recommend this hotel for its location, friendliness and value for money.

« Kinksy garden hotel Prague »

Wouldn't say 4* more like 3* breakfast is OK but be prepared to wait if they run out of something as they only cook it once it's finished it's in a good location about 20mins walk to Charles bridge room cleaned everyday but only get 2 sachets of coffee a day and when you ask for more there's none available

« Very nice hotel, good location »

Very nice hotel, pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent location near the Kinsky gardens, few minutes walking distance from the historical center of Prague. Hotel doesn´t have own indoor parking but valet parking posibility 200 mts away.

« Nice hotel, friendly staff. »

Nice hotel, very informative & helpful staff. Only downside was at breakfast, the tables were very close together with very little room. Good choice for breakfast. The hotel was a little bit away from the heart of Prague, but we enjoy walking & it wasn't a problem to us, although it could be a problem for some people.

« Lovely , friendly and excellent hotel »

We booked this hotel through Avios. I have mentioned everything according to services. Hotel look: quiet neighbourhood, may have issue at the front due to a little busy road, clean tidy and easily accessible Room: take the one at the back if you need a quiet area, take to the front for beautiful views Room amenities: Good, spacious room, bathroom a little tight, take the one without shower for better area Breakfast: very good, bit tight space, but still ok Staff: very polite and always there to help, no expectation for tip Loved the stay. Thank you

« Nice hotel but without parking »

Good location near shopping mall Nový Smíchov and near Subway station Andel. There are many pubs and restaurants in this district. Two supermarkets are located there too (Tesco and Albert by Ahold). The breakfast are ok. I had problem with parking only.

« Good standard excellent staff »

The Hotel is not central being 1.8 km from old town etc, but is only 100 m from well served Tram Stop on Pragues excellent transport system. The rooms are spotlessly clean but vary in size, which we know as we were asked to swap rooms mid stay due to a booking oversight and were given an upgrade as a result. The buffet breakfast is fairly comprehensive but as with ALL buffets worldwide the hot selection is invariably Luke warm at best unless you see the top up happening and get in quickly. The staff were very obliging and helpful in all respects, and we would be happy to stay again.

    « A Great place to stay »

I have just had a 4 night stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodation is very clean and comfortable and there is plenty of choice for breakfast. The hotel is not in the centre but is only a short walk away and is close to many nice restaurants and bars.

    « Perfect stay! »

Really loved staying here. I emailed the hotel before had to make sure we got a double room instead of twin with a park view. The management responded quickly and happily said that was ok. We were able to check in at 10am even though check in was supposed to be later so that was good! Nice walk into town, maybe a 15 minute walk but that wasn't an issue for us. Taxi from the airport cost about £20 but leaving we got a bus and it was much cheaper, but not so direct! Breakfast was really lovely, lots of choice. Rooms nice and warm - triple glazed windows make the rooms warm and quiet. Aircon/heater too was a nice touch. Loved the minibar which was quite affordable too. If you're on a budget and want to stay in style, try this!

« A Great Base to Explore Prague »

Clean and comfortable rooms with a decent shower and bathroom. Room was warm but we just opened a window - so not an issue. Fridge in room - always a bonus. Bed comfy - slept very well all 3 nights. Breakfast ok - hot and cold selection .. nice pastries and fresh fruit. Quite possibly the best hotel scrambled egg have ever eaten! Approx 20 mins walk to Charles Bridge - all fairly flat going. Further 10 mins and your in the heart of old town. Staff pleasant and friendly. Would book here again definitely ... great hotel to use for exploring Prague.

« Weekend trip to prague »

Booked last minute for me and my family. Great hotel we enjoyed our stay there friendly service clean hotel/room parking right along the hotel would definitely stay there again price was in our price range paid roughly 150 for a family suite which was two rooms right next to each other about a 10 - 15 minute drive from prague town square.

    « No! No! No! »

This was the very first time when Tripadvisor reviews caught me in a trap. I chose this Hotel for our Easter Weekend in Prague and I can really tell you that this was the greatest dissapointment lately. We got a room at the 3rd floor with a non working AC. It was so hot in the room that we barely could sleep! The room was not nice at all, and the bathroom had an awfull smell! Also we had a shower cabin but for toileteries we got no soap, but bath foam... I wouldn't come back here even if it was for free!

    « Handy Location »

The hotel is situated in a handy location, close to a tram stop. Room was clean and of a decent size. Breakfast was of good quality and with lots of choice, both hot and cold. Good spot to visit Prague.

    « Good Friendly Hotel »

My wife and I stayed here for a city break, the hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful with directions, arranging a driver (we recommend him pocking you up and taking you to the airport) and booking tickets. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Charles bridge so ideal situated for more mobile people. Rooms were basic but clean and of a good standard, the breakfast had a great selection too.

« A good base to explore pragu from »

The rooms are clean and the beds are nice and big. We were on a non smoking floor but there often was a smokey smell, not sure if its from other floors or some one just didnt care that it was no smoking. The brekfast was nice and there is quite a lot of choice, however, I didn't try any of the cooked breakfast stuff but my friend did and didn't rate the scambled eggsor the bacon much but over all I enjoyed it. Ther is also abr which was very quite when we wnet and a restaurant but we did not try that as we ate out. The hotel is not far from the old town or the castle. Probably about 15/20 minute walk in to the old town.

    « TOPS AGAIN »

Just back from another visit to Prague and third visit to Kinsky Garden Hotel. Everything as good as other visits. Found it a bit quieter than other visits , but this visit was in off peak time. Wi Fi excellent. Breakfast excellent. Above all .. Staff excellent. Good to see cider available in most places in Prague.. not just Irish pubs that charge too much for it. Went again to Cyrills Pub , which has changed - more athmosphere now. Prices for food and drinks cheaper on Kinsky side of river.

    « Prague trip »

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights on a recent short break. A small hotel warm and friendly and close enough to all the main attractions without being in the crowded centre. Hotel was a ideal for us.

« Nice stay in Prague »

My wife really loved the bed, pillow and sheets. The rooms were very warm. The neighborhood was good (city center reached by foot in 20-25 minutes, there was a tram 3 minutes from the hotel which might be faster but we really liked to walk) Breakfast was very good. On the downside the shower was small (for us was ok, but a bigger person might have some problems).

    « First class hotel »

Have just returned from a three night stay in this hotel, and we were not disappointed . The hotel is clean, warm, staff are really friendly, helpful and the breakfast is of a good standard (buffet) . All the things you would expect from a good hotel are included, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries (shower gel, soap, shampoo) It is not in the centre of Prague but we liked this as it was in a quieter part of the City ( it does not take long to walk to places such as Charles Bridge and the other attractions).

    « Excellent Hotel »

My first visit to Prague, and I must say we were not disappointed! This hotel is lovely! Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms, and an excellent buffet breakfast! The staff were extremely helpful at all times, Opposite a beautiful park to walk around, 10 minutes walk from a huge shopping precinct, 20 mins to Charles Bridge and 30 mins walk to the Castle! The only small negative was the room was very warm as it was fairly mild outside. The aircon wasn't brilliant but opening the window sorted that! We weren't leaving until 7pm, but it was no problem to store our cases in a locked room! Will return to this hotel for sure!!

    « 4 day trip to Prague »

The hotel was clean, friendly and provided a lovely buffet breakfast. The location is not in the centre but within easy reach of Charles Street bridge and the "lesser town". It took us about 20/25 minutes to walk to the old town. Some local restaurants and bars - some of which were very well priced. The staff were very friendly, in particular Jana who made us very welcome and gave us some great tips on places to go. An excellent break that we hope to repeat later in the year.

« Amazing stay at Amazing Hotel »

Friendly and helpful staff at Kinsky Garden made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Free wifi available in the whole building. The hotel has a great location, close to tourist attractions, shops and restaurants.

« Helpful staff, lovely rooms, great location »

I spent last weekend (two nights) in Best Western Hotel Kinsky Garden and I can only say positive things about my stay. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and available 24/7. The Hotel is with no doubt quite luxurious and run in a professional manner, however, it also has a nice, cozy, 'homely' feel about it. It was a pleasure to come back to my room after all day out. My room was quiet, warm and always tidy (housekeepers do a truly great job), and the bed was so comfortable it was quite difficult to leave it in the morning. My window was overlooking the street, however, I didn't hear any noise. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, the selection of the products was quite rich. The location is just perfect. It's close to many tourist attractions, the old part of town. A big shopping centre is 5 min walk away. I will definitely stay at Kinsky Garden again next time I visit Prague.

« The best place to stay in Prague! »

Nice location, friendly staff, clean and cosy rooms, tasty breakfast. Just 5 minutes to the Old town, goos restaurants nearby. Everything was the BEST! I visit this hotel since 2011 and I never hady anything to complaint.

    « Super dooper »

Very friendly and helpful, we arrived at 10.30am so way too early for checking in, however we were given a room, so we could go off gallivanting the city. What strikes you is how well the place is run and kept. Rooms are lovely and attention to detail is top class. Our group particularly liked breakfast, where you could come and go at your pleasing, the food was good, even chilled fruit. Rooms were cleaned an tidied daily. Looked and locked our bags for our last day there after booking out. Faultless, and would love to stay again. oh yea... Prague is nice also.

« Not bad but location not ideal »

My lovely wife and I stayed at Hotel Kinsky Garden on 12/30 to 1/1. It was a typical 3-star hotel, clean but not much more than that. Location is not great, we would have preferred to be closer to city center. Breakfast was okay, again not great. One couple brought their dog to the breakfast buffet, not very considerate!

    « Excellent room - Poor Breakfast »

The Hotel had nice and clean rooms with all the basic needs. Wifi worked good and heating was also fine, mostly we switched it off as it was heating too much. I can only complain about the breakfast however. Although it was a buffet the quality was poor. The only pastry item available was a croissant and apart from jams they was no Nutella just a cheaper version of hazelnut chocolate spread which didn't taste good. There was nothing else, and since I do not take cereals, bread, salads or yogurts, I had a limited choice. I usually easy various pastries and biscuits which are not available here, only dry and cold croissants. One day there were little rolls available but they had few on the tray and when I asked if they has more since I was still eating an egg before, they told me they are finished. When it was still during breakfast hours. I was so disappointed on that day.

    « Very Nice »

For the price we paid we are happy with this hotel. The staff is very friendly, we drove from Brussels to Praha and found a parking spot just righ in front of the door. The hotel is located at walking distance from the castle and the town center. The rooms are tidy, clean and the breakfast is good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Praha, we are both young ( 30 yo) and walked through Praha, didn't use public transport and had no issue walking to discover the city. Praha is a town you must visit! Enjoy

    « Xmas Market & Sightseeing »

Great value Best Western - Stayed away from the main centre but only a 15 min walk to Charles Bridge. Tram stop at end of road 100m away if you want to get to old Town quicker. Very friendly & helpful staff. JANA was especially friendly, lovely lady who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even offered to collect our Pizza from nearby. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Tip if you need Consistent internet would be to ask for a Centrally placed room on any floor. Nice Shopping centre within walking distance and restaurants are a bit cheaper this side of bridge. Would def come back here. 20 mins from Airport. Good city break.

    « Great Basic Hotel »

This hotel is across the river from Old Town - it takes about 20-30 minutes to walk into Old Town, but mainly because there are cobblestone streets, and the Charles Bridge gets crowded if you choose to use it. However there are 2 other closer bridges to cross the river. The guy checking us in wasn't very friendly, but overall we didn't encounter overly friendly folks in Prague. The rooms were nice, basic, but comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was nice--it's the same every day and fairly limited, but free is awesome. For the price, it was worth it to us.

    « 3 Day Stay in Prague »

My Wife booked this Best Western Hotel. Superb location if you are able to walk easily. Prague Centre, Charles Bridge and the Clock Tower 15 - 20 Minute Walk. Trams available just a few metres from the Hotel Entrance. Opposite Perin Park, which is worth a walk through on a Dry day. The Park has an observation tower which worth a visit as it has spectacular views of Prague. Saw several Red Squirrels. Prague Castle easily walked to from this Park. The Hotel Room was Clean, Warm and Cosy. Breakfast a usual continental, nothing special, but served a purpose. Hot Server with a lid had Sausage (Hot Dog Style) Scrambled Egg and Smoky Bacon. Good Coffee & Choice of Teas. Staff Friendly. A good choice at a good price. Lock away area for Suitcases should the need arise. Good Internet provided.

    « Good hotel »

The hotel is a 10 minute walk, if you are fit, across the river to the centre of Prague but took us about 20 minutes as one of our party was finding it difficult to walk on the cobbled streets. The room was very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge/mini bar. Bathroom small but housed a bath with a shower in it and complimentary soaps, shampoo and shower gel plus hairdrier. Breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold (scrambled eggs, bacon and hot dogs or hams, cheese and cold boiled eggs) There was also three juices but they tasted of sherbet powder rather than fresh juices. Bread, rolls croissants, yogurts, fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. Enough to keep you going. No meals in the evening but snacks that can be microwaved at the bar There were a couple of sitting areas plus the bar which we didn't use but looked very nice. Also free wifi plus the use of a computer and printer for printing off boarding cards. We found the staff very helpful and friendly on reception and helpful and efficient in the breakfast room.

« Good hotel could be even better ... »

... first the positives -hotel is in a quiet but convenient location close to tram 9 leading to the new town and tram 22 to the castle. The rooms are comfortable, well furnished and thoroughly cleaned every day. However the reception staff lack enthusiasm/interest - I asked the receptionist if the funicular up to the Petrin Tower was open. she said she didn't know but I was only 5 minutes away so I could find out myself(it is shut foe the foreseeable future a it happens and this has been widely advertised evidently). Also the bar is barely stocked and sporadically staffed; one night we were the only guests but the barman was more concerned about watching tv and another night it was shut at 10.15. The breakfast is also poor; insipid coffee from a machine, tasteless fruit squash(certainly not juice), congealed scrambled egg and stone cold bacon - the pastries are good though! Even the dining room staff seem distant and lethargic. As I said before this is a decent hotel in a good spot - customer service training would make it significantly better.

« Autumn holidays in Prague »

Excellent choice to spend cosy evenings not far from the river, old town. We walked and walked in the evening, took photos on the bridges. Adored architectoral beauty and night lights (how clever!) of the town. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff. I enjoyed interior, conditions, wifi, all services. I would come in spring and walk again. Worth staying there again.

    « Short city break »

The location is very good. Just out of the city centre so quiet but within easy walking distance of attractions such as the "Church of our Lady Victorious" and not much further to Charles Bridge. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is excellent and caters for all tastes. There is also a small licensed bar there - handy for a nightcap. The rooms are clean and tidy.

This 4* Hotel is small, 60 rooms, but well presented and located in a delightful restored building. Attractive rooms recently renovated in traditional style with everything you require. Lovely breakfast room with plenty of hot and cold choices. On the down side no food available other than breakfast. A notice outside the bar said light meals were available but this proved not to be the case. Located opposite the large Kinsky Gardens so a quiet location and restaurants within easy reach. With hindsight possibly the wrong side of the river for sightseeing.

    « Best Breakfast »

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Kinsky Garden for 3 nights. It's a beautiful old building. The rooms were large and very clean. It is on the Mala Strana side and is very quiet. It's still close enough to the city center to walk. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful, but the absolute best thing about this hotel is the breakfast in the morning. Fresh bread and rolls, fresh cut up fruit, yogurt, cheese, meats, eggs, bacon, sausages, and cereal. With a hearty breakfast like this we weren't hungry again until dinner. The Best Western's in the states are nowhere near as good as this. If we ever come back to Prague, this is where we will stay.

    « Great Stay »

Stayed here for a long weekend. Although out of the main tourist area everything is within walking distance. Rooms nice and clean, toiletries supplied and staff, especially Valeria, very friendly and helpful. My wife left her insulin and holder in the mini bar fridge but on e-mailing, they had found it, kept it refrigerated and then sent the holder on at no charge. Much appreciated. Breakfast room can get quite full but we always found a table for four of us and the choice was great.

« Convenient hotel near the center of Prague »

Location close to the center of Prague, 15 minutes walk. The hotel offers a comfortable bed and free WLAN. Generally friendly service. The room was very small, but ok. Parking is available, but 10 minutes walk.

    « Prague a really good experience »

Although the staff were as helpful as they could be we found that the evening the snacks that were advertised on a display board but were unavailable. After a tiring day we had to walk into town to find a meal which we hadn't made an allowance for. Can we suggest that the food section be removed if you are unable to provide the service. Breakfast was really good.

« Clean, quiet, good value »

A solid older building renovated to a decent standard: we asked for, and got, a quiet room on the third floor overlooking an inner courtyard. It was small, and the bathroom cramped, but the high ceiling gave a feeling of space. WiFi was poor in the room, but very acceptable in the lounge and bar downstairs. Our single beds were comfortable, and we were pleased to find a kettle with a choice of teas. The buffet breakfast was fresh and comprehensive, with a fine selection of breads, cold meats and cheeses. In a tranquil location but only 20 minutes walk from the tourist scrum of the Old Town, and very close to the main tram routes. An efficient and reasonably-priced car service from and to the airport. A bonus point... we were particularly delighted to discover that the Kinsky Garden is only five minutes away from one of Prague's finest new restaurants, the Atelier.
