"Great hotel"
Buba S, 17 Février 2024

We stayed from Jan 26 till Jan 29. Very nice hotel, quiet and comfortable rooms. Located near center, about 10-15 min to walk. Breakfast was very tasty, a lot of food to choose. Wifi worked well in whole building. We enjoyed our stay. Fully recommend.

"Tasty breakfast, friendly staff, good location."
veadomaityte, 16 Février 2024

Great place to stay, walkable distance from hotel to the old town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, you can also order some fried eggs, or omlet if theres only scrambled or boiled eggs served.

"A great place to stay."
johnbA255MG, 01 Février 2024

It is what it says on the tin; a down to earth hotel. The place is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfy, breakfast is good and the staff can't do enough to help. And it's on tram and metro routes or there's a lovely walk along the river into the old town. What more could you need?

"Perfect hotel for the perfect city break"
Alison F, 18 Décembre 2023

This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay in Prague. The hotel was a good location as it was a 15 minute walk to old town and also super easy to get to and from the airport using public transport as the metro stop was just around the corner. Being in new town the rooms were nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of old town so had no issues sleeping. The room was really big and spacious, much bigger than expected. If anything the room was a little warm, but nothing opening the window couldn't fix. Most importantly the rooms were clean and you got the option if you wanted your room tidied and new towels each day by putting a little hanger on your door. Breakfast was buffet style served between 7am-11am and had loads of options. Hot food, yoghurt and fruit, cold meats and cheese, breads and pastries. I was pleasantly surprised and ate breakfast at the hotel our whole stay. I really enjoyed the stay here and would definitely return if visiting Prague again.

"Generally good hotel - New Town"
Ta-Ra-A-Bit, 21 Novembre 2023

Based in New Town, the quieter end of town. Our room on second floor, clean and couldn't hear any road noise through windows. Room: fine for a double room for a few nights stay. Was very warm at night even with heating off, pillows fluffy but somehow flattened to nothing. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday which was a nice touch. Small fridge, tea and coffee facilities in room (no milk though which is needed for British tea drinkers!) Breakfast nice variety of hot and cold foods with juices, homemade strudel (yummy) and friendly staff throughout. All in all a pleasant stay. If we returned to Prague we would probably stay in Old Town but that's just our preference.

"Brilliant hotel"
lawrenceEngland, 03 Octobre 2023

Lovely hotel near the river. Very quiet and lovely comfy beds; had no problems sleeping. Coffee maker in the room and small fridge Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent; eggs or omelettes cooked to order and plenty of choice of hot and cold food. Near tram and metro stops Excellent value to get to airport using metro then airport bus. Would stay again if I returned to Prague

"Great hotel"
jola r, 02 Septembre 2023

Great hotel staff very friendly and helpful, underground parking not too far from the hotel 23 euros per day, room very nice spacious, and clean.bathroom also nice and clean ,breakfast plenty to choose from ,we really enjoyed the hotel. Tram stop near by so if you're sick of walking it's very easy to get the old town and Charles bridge and back.

"Good location, excelent service"
aidapsoko, 05 Août 2023

Very convinient location, parking space, comfortable rooms. We are always having a challenge as we are traveling with "older" kid. It is hard to find appropriate room, but this one met all our needs. Staff is extremely helpfull and polite. In nowadays with workforce shortage, this is nice to see. Brekfast is excellent, variety of choice, local food choice as well, and great coffee and natural juices. Walking dustance to beatufill Vltava and old town. If you are not fan of walking, tram station is around corner.

"Convenient and helpful staff"
masoudasadi2017, 02 Août 2023

At the check-out the receptionist did exceed our expectation with allowing us to park in front of the hotel for some minutes in order to load the baggages and also he accepted partially paying by cash. Also he told us a bit about the city with fluent English and a nice accent.

"Great location in Prague"
Discover13788505900, 12 Mai 2023

This was a great location. The room had a long tub, which was helpful after long days of walking. The location is near the metro & only a couple blocks from the river. The Dancing House is also a few blocks down the road. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

"Nice cute hotel "
tom733, 15 Février 2023

Nice small hotel. Located in walking distance from the downtown attractions. Available parking closeby. Updated interior, clean and quiet rooms. The staff is very friendly and supportive. Delicious breakfast with all you need. Special thanks to Iva for her attention and care. Will come back.

"Convenient location and friendly staff "
Geoff R, 12 Février 2023

I spent three nights at this conveniently located hotel a kilometer or so from the centre of Prague. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. The room was a good size and very quiet . Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. There are number of trams stops nearby

"Very Nice Hotel in Prague"

"Lovely, clean hotel with friendly staff"
ClaireLancaster93, 02 Janvier 2023

Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and on arriving they told us where we could catch the metro and gave up a map. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was mostly continental with lots of choices - I mainly filled up on cheese, cold meats and croissants/pan au chocolates/other breaded assortments every mornings. The hotel is about a 15 - 20 minutes walk to the centre. I would stay here again if/when I visit Prague again.

"Very nice few days to tour Prague. Not an amazing Christmas market but many things to do there. Short walk to anywhere"
Andrea N, 02 Janvier 2023

Amazing hotel, friendly atmosphere, staff happy & helpful and handy to everywhere around it. The hotel was quiet and very clean at all times. Short walk to main town centre and tourist attractions. Close to River for river cruise tours and eateries close by

"Excellent hotel and staff."
Pickles75mm, 21 Décembre 2022

This hotel deserves the 4 stars and more. The rooms were very comfortable and warm. The staff at the breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The choice of food at breakfast was varied with a selection of both hot and cold produce. A special mention must be given to the receptionist Tatev. She was full of enthusiasm, knowledge and extremely helpful to my friend and I. She was extremely helpful with directions, transport options as well as places to visit. I would also like to mention the young man who helped us organise a river cruise and pointed us in the right direction for the trams etc. The lady on the night shift was also very helpful. Overall this hotel has outstanding staff and accommodation.

"Perfect place to explore Prague"
P5963NHjamess, 09 Décembre 2022

This Hotel is well run with staff that are attentive to your needs. I have never come across a breakfast so varied and freshly cooked, Champagne for a treat some mornings. I would like a special mention for the young lady receptionist with the Red hair (sorry never got her name) she was a fountain of knowledge with regards to Prague, she gave us directions and tourist info daily. I would certainly stay here again.

"Великолепно"
Дмитрий П, 07 Décembre 2022

It was a very good experience. We came here for 3 days, and stayed for a week. Thank you very much for your help, it's so nice to be in this place. We are especially grateful to everyone, but especially to the girls in the restaurant - Nadia, Iva e, Dominika. We will recommend it to everyone.

"Amazing helpful staff, Lovely hotel and very comfortable bedrooms."
Alyson P, 02 Décembre 2022

We arrived on 24th November, and were welcomed to the hotel by Malek, (lovely young lady), she was an absolute delight. We had unfortunately left an item in the taxi, she was so helpful and contacted the transfer company for us, and they came back for us. In the meantime she chatted enthusiastically about Prague, and helped us find our bearing with a map, also highlighting areas of interest for us. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a huge choice of hot and cold items. Even a glass of champage. The bedroom was comfortable , we were in room 402 and it was quiet and we had a lovely nights sleep, appreciating the feather duvets. Highly recommend this hotel.

"Great Hotel"
Lee D, 30 Novembre 2022

A beautiful short stay in a great hotel close to all that Prague has to offer. The staff were attentive, polite and professional and the leaving of a bottle of champagne in our room with a note from the staff wishing my wife a happy birthday was a delightful touch. I definitely recommend staying AAAAA+

"Perfect Breakfast"
Excursion587552, 29 Novembre 2022

Had a short 3 night stay our first to Prague. Perfectly located hotel not too far to walk to most sights. Absolutely loved the breakfast. Vast selection and the staff were fantastic really helpful. Makes our day to have a good breakfast. Thank you Best Western Moran.

"really nice hotel"
GTR T, 05 Novembre 2022

We had a tourist in a hotel and they are very pleased! Thank you for everything they are really satisfied! They asked our agency to write a review. They loved everything: location, room, breakfast and staff

"Perfection"
Jonathanguide, 31 Octobre 2022

I was there for business with a client and it could not have been more perfect! From the staff who were nice, smiley and helpful, big thank you to Tatel, the receptionist who was always a pleasure to chat with to the night security guard who was always welcoming and helpful and the cleaners who were very polite and efficient. The "small rooms" were large and comfortable and extremely clean, not a hair, not a stain and there are daily refilled Nespresso machines and teas for your convenience. Be aware that the duvets and cushions are made of feathers, although this is very comfortable, if you are allergic like my friend, you can ask them to change it for you, they did for us so let them know in advance. Thanks to the security guard for his help on this. There is also a minimarket at the reception with water, cold food and alcohol which is a big up. The location is exactly what you need, Karlovo Namesti Metro station is less than 5 minutes walk, you can take a tube there with 5 stops and one change to the main train station where the navette to the airport arrives and departs( That station is difficult to go around though as the coach are outside on the top of the station, just check before you travel, the way to the airport is in front of the old station building while you arrive by the lifts on the other side of the street)there are also coaches to Karlovy Vary and Cesky Krumlov. The is a STUNNING 20 minutes walk to Charles Bridge and the old town with plenty of riverside restaurants and bar, 5 minutes walk to the dancing house and there is a colony of nutria who like to be fed about 10 minutes walk on this same riverside( A small castor-like animal) Restaurants and a minimarket are in the same street and there is a beautiful park right behind.( Do not eat at the Chinese restaurant about 5 minutes walk from there, absolutely disgusting) The price was great too and the breakfast was more than plenty with Gluten-Free, vegan and Veggie options. Overall, one of the best hotels I have been to in Europe. Thank you so much!

"Good hotel, in good location."
John N, 22 Septembre 2022

From airport to Hotel took 40 mins with bus 119 to metro, then off at nearest station to hotel. 5 mins walk. Good check in, room, breakfast, all as it should be. Highly recommend. Used metro to get into town, only 2 stops.

"Homely, friendly and clean"
michaelkirk90, 15 Septembre 2022

Me and my family stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during the end of August. Reception The reception staff are amazing. They genuinely care about your stay and were brilliant in answering our questions about Prague. They gave a 5* service. Room Our room was spacious and clean. We faced the busy road to the side of the hotel. Despite the traffic and trams going past regularly, our room was silent. We slept really well. Breakfast The staff in reception were amazing too. Tatev is the star of the shoe. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her service was outstanding. The food itself was great too. I had possibly the nicest bacon I've ever had! Overall this is a brilliant hotel. It's a 15 minute walk away from the old town square. If we return to Prague again in the future we will definitely be making at reservation at this hotel.

"Saved by the Best Western."
Adrian12345, 16 Juin 2022

We initially had rented an Air BnB in the old town. It was so bad we took the loss of the cost of the room and went straight to a hotel. Out of the 4 Air BnB's we have rented on this trip, the one in Prague was the only bad one. The BW Moran is a nice clean, quite hotel. Well located close to shopping, restaurants and to the river as well as the rest of central Prague. The staff we very polite and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.

"Serene Retreat"
Zealander4, 05 Juin 2022

I was a guest at this hotel when I recently had a four night break in Prague. A picturesque building, only a short distance from the Vltava river. A tram station, supermarket, and a myriad of other shops are also not too far from the hotel. And just four stops away - after boarding the number 18 tram - you will be in the locality of Charles bridge and the charming old town. The staff at this hotel were attentive and pleasant. My room was clean, cosy, and very quiet. Even when the window was open, the noise from outside was unobtrusive. The bed was sumptuous (if a tad soft) and the bathroom was immaculate. There was also a fridge - nice little desk area and a mooring for your case. Lighting was subdued in the main area - which I personally found agreeable. However, the bathroom was very well lit. There was also a lamp on the desk and one on each side of the bed, thus making reading and writing a pleasure. Two comfortable chairs also adorned the room. A lovely haven to come back to after a day experiencing the virtues of Prague. A wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

"Explore Prague."
lisak365, 04 Juin 2022

Wow! My husband and I was expressed.Friendly staff. Lovely rooms. Cleaned dally. Good breakfast with a selection of different foods. The hotel is a super location which is near all historical sites etc. we would book here again.

"Excellent"
DrHappy0, 08 Avril 2022

Excellent location from where you can do walking to everywhere that you want in the city. The price is reasonable for Prague and there is no reason to pay more money, especially since the breakfast is quite good.

"Nice Hotel in a Great Location"
Mark L, 13 Septembre 2020

This hotel is located close to the historic district and within easy walking distance of the city tram system. It was very comfortable and just what I needed for my stay in Prague. Check in was easy and they provided everything I needed.

jjs0112, 24 Février 2020

Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. Hotel is lovely and clean. Rooms good size. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Found any staff we dealt with very pleasant. Within reasonable walking distance of all the central attractions. If you dont want to walk tram is just up and round from hotel. A lovely little cafe just across from hotel with really nice food.

"A photo opportunity at every head turn! "
BecMore, 23 Février 2020

Myself and my partner stayed at the Best Western City Hotel Moran, in Prague from the 24th - 31st January 2020 for 7 nights for my 40th Birthday and we had an AMAZING week! There is Czech City Tax to pay per person per night which was 21CZK which was 70p. So we paid 147 CZK which was £4.97 for the week as we checked out. Prague is packed full of exploring, walking, photography, eating and drinking! We built up to walking 69 miles over the week whilst we explored there! The weather we had was mainly cloudy, overcast and very cold with wind. The wind was piercingly cold at times so be sure to take hats, gloves, scarfs and snoods. We had a few rain showers. There was no ice or snow but was very cold. The hotel was perfect for what we needed that week. We had room 404 and it was overlooking the Emmaus Monastery a modern roof which sits on the early medieval Monastery which was damaged by Allied bombing in WWII. The frequent Trams run by the hotel day and night so it was fairly noisy in the evening and night time. Luckily I took my ear plugs away with me to block out the noise. My partner slept ok without earplugs. I'm a light sleeper so was prepared. The room was immaculate and cleaned daily with clean towels. No safety deposit box in the room though, it was kept behind reception. The reception was open 24hrs a day. We had a light bulb problem one day and we rang down to reception and the guy on reception was very helpful and sorted a new bulb out for us within the hour. In the room we had a mini fridge which we found very useful to keep bottled water in cold. We had coffee/tea making facilities in the room which were replenished daily if we had used them. A kettle and two mugs with spoons. We had a TV in the room but the only channel worth watching was SKY NEWS on channel 72. No other English language channels. We had twin beds and they were incredibly comfortable! Couldn't believe how comfy they were. Never have I been away and found the hotel bed more comfortable than my own bed!! The room was warm and spacious. The shower was powerful, but the hairdryer was disappointing, it wasnt very powerful and got extremely hot at the handle. Having long hair to dry I found this frustrating! There was a wardrobe with only a few hangers in there so bring some more along with you! No drawers were provided for smalls. But little shelves were attached to the end of the wardrobe. Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best, freshest and plentiful spreads I've ever seen in a hotel. There was so much choice and we filled up every morning which sometimes meant we didn't need any lunch, so could carrying on exploring the city and embracing the sights! There were all sorts of teas, coffees, juices, cakes, pastries, bread, rolls. Warm food was available in eggs, bacon, sausage and tomatoes. The bacon was delicious! There was also a selection of cheeses, cold meats, hams and salamis and salads. Cerals, yogurts, fruit, dry fruits, nuts, seeds were set out neatly for you pick. The hotel was close to shops and supermarkets. One called Billa and the other called Albert, which were all good value. The Tram stops are literally around the corner from the hotel. The Dancing House is close to the hotel which is situated on the corner near the River Vltava. Charles Bridge is a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. If you walk along the river you cannot miss it. We went to the Castle which was about a 30 minutes walk from the hotel. The views were magnificent and magical. Vyšehrad is a medival fortress about a 20 minute walk from the hotel in the other direction. We were shocked how good the views were here! It is well worth going! We even spotted a red squirrel which was bouncing in between the trees near the fortress. There was small park which we saw all kinds of bird life. We spotted a Nuthatch bobbing along a tree. It took around 20 minutes to walk to Old Time Square which is a very populated area. The Astronomical Clock is a beauty which is 600 years old and chimes with figurines at every hour break. The crowds of tourists gather here so be aware of pick pickets. My favourite building was staroměstské náměstí which is stunning both in the day and lit up in the evening. It some how resembles the Disney Cinderalla Castle in Walt Disney World with its peaks and towers! The 10th Century gothic artitecture is breathtaking around here and there literally is a photo opportunity at every head turn! I went dizzy at some points looking up! The atmosphere here is phenomenal! We went to Wenclas Square which is a rich area of shops, bars, eateries and even late openings on Sundays which seemed bizarre. The shops were open till 20pm. We went to Prague Zoo on my actual birthday and it was so good! The connections on the Metro and Bus were simple and easy to use. We bought a transport ticket which cost 110kc which is £3.73 for 24 hours. You get your little ticket and activate it on the bus/tram in the machines. For 30 minutes travel you pay 24kc which is 81p. Incredibly cheap to get around if you don't want to walk or are tired after walking so far. We got the Metro underground from I. P. Pavlova to Nádraží Holešovice where there is plenty of bus stops. The bus to the Zoo is bus 112. Which then takes 15 minutes to get to the Zoo. Zoo entry cost 200kc which is £6.68. You can literally walk round all day looking and admiring over 600 species. It was open from 9am till 4pm. We did so much in the week we were there. There's hundreds of bars, pubs and eateries, all of different themes and tastes. Museums, art galleries and places worth the visit you are spolit for choice! Overall Prague is a city of romance, a gem of artitecture down the centuries, full of captivating ambience, resounding with the melodies of great composers, but also the a modern metropolis pulsating with life. Prague to me is one of the finest cities in the world that satisfies the traveller in you without draining your bank account! I took 1,756 photos on this trip and a month after our return I'm still buzzing and sorting them out! I cannot recommend Prague enough, it's one of the best holidays I've ever had!! We just didn't have time to see or do everything... We will definitely be returning to Prague in the future!

"City Break"
Anne H, 21 Février 2020

The room was very spacious and we were on a corner so had two windows. Comfortable beds and everywhere was very clean. Tea making facilities. Bathroom had bath with overhead shower. Plenty of choice for breakfast including English and continental. Staff were friendly and helpful.

"city break"
CathrynRichardson, 07 Février 2020

Nice hotel, situated approx. one mile from Charles Bridge. Breakfast was lovely, offering cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, plus all the usual cold meats and salads, variety of breads and cheeses. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms spacious and warm, lovely pillows and duvets. only minor issues were the bathroom sinks not cleaned daily (still toothpaste left around basin) and the cups and glasses left unwashed, but maybe the maid was new to her job? If I went back to Prague I would return to this hotel for the positives stated above.

"Short Break"
Alison G, 07 Février 2020

We enjoyed a 4 day break at this hotel. Check-in was quick and we were allocated room 701, which was spotless and had plenty of tea, coffee etc and toiletries all of which was topped up daily by the very efficient and friendly housekeeping staff. Breakfast was available from 6.30am until 11.30am. There was a choice of cooked meats, eggs, cereals, cheese, hams, salads, different types of bread, Fruit juices, pastries, teas and coffees. It's one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever seen and beautifully arranged, the ladies work hard to make sure everything is topped up. Although the hotel is away from the main attractions, it's a leisurely 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. You won't be disappointed if you stay at City Hotel, we highly recommend it and all of the staff are so lovely. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

"Excellent hotel"
tinks320, 07 Janvier 2020

Can highly recommend, about 15 min walk to centre. Very clean, warm and spacious rooms. The breakfast had plenty of choice. Staff very helpful and pleasant, nothing was a problem. Hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, wine glasses, tumblers and toiletries provided in the room.

"lovely hotel"
debbie l, 04 Janvier 2020

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly, Room was spacious and clean. Large bathroom although struggled with the position of the overhead shower as it was placed in the middle of the bath. Room cleaned daily. Although my husband was not a fan of the pillows, I loved them. Good choice at breakfast. Was quite a walk into the main area but the tram was just round the corner

"Great hotel nearby the old square and all major Prague attractions"
Castlefod, 21 Décembre 2019

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the night markets. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and staff awesome Great for walking everywhere.would highly recommend. Close by to great restaurants like the Burger Bar next door and Lemon leaf Thai restaurant

"Lovely Place"
Patricia A, 19 Décembre 2019

Hotel was very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very warm and the pillows are to die for. I've never slept on such soft pillows. Breakfast had enough choice although it was the same every day. It lacks a lounge to sit in with a coffee but that's the only minor thing. Ensure you ask for a non smoking floor if you don't like the smell of cigarettes as they do allow smoking in the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. I had to report a couple of minor things (light bulb went and toilet flush was loose) both sorted immediately without any fuss. It's situated in a good place to walk to all the sites but make sure you can read a map well.

"great location"
abdelraoufdjaiz, 13 Décembre 2019

Great Hotel and great stuff they were very friendly . we got there at 10am and they gave us our room before check in time . hotel had great location, close to all touristic attractions. no need to take a transit. i will definitly go back

"Just ok..."
987damianl, 10 Décembre 2019

We didn't spend much time in the hotel, which was probably why it scraped a three star rating! The more time we stayed in the hotel,so the list of irritations grew. Breakfast in particular was very poor, with just about every dish or food choice running out...eggs,muesli,jam,butter,tea bags, croissants....the list was endless. Location was fairly good, the rooms were clean if very dated, the staff were passable but certainly not friendly or helpful. Luckily Prague is such a special city that time spent in any hotel is time wasted meaning we left in the morning after breakfast and didn't return until late at night. Go there with low expectations and you will be just about satisfied that you get about what you paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

"Surprisingly excellent"
Seaside01417576204, 09 Décembre 2019

We were staying here as part of an Easyjet package holiday. I was a bit nervous until we arrived and then all of my fears were allayed. The room was spotless, had everything we needed - tea/coffee etc, toiletries - bedding was gorgeous and the beds themselves were very comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is far enough from the centre as to not to be disturbed by the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk.

"Central to everything "
Inverness1, 04 Décembre 2019

Came for the Christmas markets. Lovely! Stayed on a 3 day visit, booked a room on the 5th floor, spacious clean and well equipped. WIFI is good, bathroom spotless and large. Very friendly staff and helpful, breakfast is bounteous, so much choice both hot and cold. You must try the restaurant across the road, unassuming but awesome food. Very reasonable prices as well. Taxi service is prompt and only 30 mins to the airport. Enjoy your stay! Paul and MJ X

"A very good base."
i_tasker, 02 Décembre 2019

Best Western is quite centrally located, we stayed there for a few days and from the hotel we walked to most of the attractions in Prague. The tram station is located nearby and if you do not fancy walking for a very small charge you can get a tram ride to the old town district. The trams run regularly. We liked the room, it was very warm and comfortable. The beds were very, the room cosy. The room included a fridge, which we found quite handy. We slept well despite the room being next to the lift despite that we found it very quiet. The breakfasts were good with a large assortment of offerings. We particularly liked the fruit. They had an interesting toasting machine, which took an eternity to warm the bread! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

"Good location hotel"

"3 night City break "
Julian W, 23 Novembre 2019

Loved the hotel, staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms very spacious with all the amenities you need for 3 nights and of a very high cleanliness standard. WiFi connection fantastic throughout the hotel. Breakfast was extremely tasty, continental and also cooked option. The best thing has to be the beds.....outs appeared to be brand new and the comfort was out of this world !!!

"Still a great place to stay...."
Sandra B, 22 Novembre 2019

Return visit to this hotel did not disappoint. Very helpful staff. Comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Good selection for breakfast - fresh fruit, cereals, hot dishes and a wide choice of bread and pastries combined with a range of teas and coffee available gave a great start to the day! Hotel is in a quiet location with excellent links to airport via metro. Within walking distance of most of the major attractions. The riverside is only a few metres away. Some very good local restaurants - out of the tourist trap. Thanks again!!

"Excellent."
petticoatplonky, 11 Novembre 2019

Stayed for a week and was very impressed. Clean, comfortable, good choice of breakfast and the staff were very helpful and told us of places to visit off the beaten track. Once we got our bearings we were not far from anywhere and we walked to all the places that we wished to see. All in all a great place to stay.

"Rude reception boy put us off"
Graham A, 10 Novembre 2019

We stayed here for three nights and on the whole it was fine . The hotel is in a good location and is comfortable enough. The breakfast is terrible unless you want continental, if however you are expecting a nice cooked English then you will be disappointed. Everything is look warm at best and when I say everything I mean the three things on offer , Rubbery eggs , cold streaky bacon and bland sausages. Most of the staff are nice and their English is good however we had a rather strange experience on our first night . When we checked in we were given room 401 which was fine but when we got back later on that night we could not get into our room and floor 4 now had room numbers beginning with a 5 (very strange). We went to reception to find out what went on and were told that the staff had been round and changed all the numbers on the room doors , effectively moving everyone up by one floor, so now we were in room 501 but still in the same room and the same floor (4th floor). This naturally confused us and the boy at reception called Damas couldn't have been any ruder when we asked for an explanation and help finding our "new room " . He snapped at us saying " I dont have time for this " which when you consider is his actual job then I dont know what he does have time for . (A formal complaint will be lodged with the manager). On the whole we loved Prague and will definitely be back but NOT to this hotel due to the attitude of Damas and the lack of hot food at breakfast

"Great hotel good location"
Natalija B, 06 Novembre 2019

Clean hotel spacious rooms with tea coffee cattle in the room! Dayly cleaning. Nice breakfast.Friendly staff god location everything just around the corner. If I go back definitely will stay in Best Western city hotel.

"Week in Prague"
c_crooks50, 25 Octobre 2019

Stayed here for week, clean hotel, comfortable bed, plenty choice for breakfast. Hotel in great location for visiting the castle , old town, Jewish quarter etc, all able to do by walking ,or near to public transport. Would stay again

"Weekend visit to Prague"
margaret m, 21 Octobre 2019

Stayed at best Western Moran room was spotless. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and varied. Suggest ear plugs for trams run all day and night as its very central location. But definitely would use this hotel again.

"Good location,courteous staff,excellent breakfast"
Sampath N, 13 Octobre 2019

We stayed at this hotel for three days in September 2019.The triple standard room taken by us was small for three guests, but with comfortable beds and good shower. The reception staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast offered good variety and was delicious. In a nearby maill, there are many shops and a big “ Billa” supermarket.Ideally located,in a quiet street. We had an enjoyable stay in this hotel.

"Prague thru our travel agent"
dennisdjirish75, 07 Octobre 2019

The staff at the Hotel were wonderful. Jarda, the daytime front desk manager/ concierge, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He spoke fluid English and was always eager to help with any questions. The evening front desk Manager,Michael, also was friendly and very accommodating. As we found in most Central Europe hotels, there is no air conditioning. The rooms were very nice. You had to open the windows at night to keep the room cool. With the windows open, the street cars running on the street below would keep a light sleeper awake

"Very good hotel"
michieg121, 04 Octobre 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but would comment on the lack of a bar and evening meal which was surprising for a four star hotel . There are good options available nearby, but it would have been nice to relax in a residents lounge in the evening. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly with a special mention to Sylvia on reception who was outstanding. We did have some issues with the Air Con. in our room on the 4th floor, but as we were only there for a few days, we didn't report it. The buffet breakfasts were very good. We will definitely go back again.

"A few days in Prague"
Aldyth2014, 03 Octobre 2019

A good, very clean hotel which is well situated for the tram and metro stops and not too far from the old town should you want to walk in. Extremely pleasant staff, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and nice strong coffee. The only criticism is the room was a little too hot but we'd happily stay again.

"Lovely hotel"
kateH9444CE, 28 Septembre 2019

Stayed here for a long weekend. All the staff were nice & friendly. Loved that I could wake up late & still catch the breakfast buffet. The room was nice & neat & all amenities worked well. The hotel enhanced my amazing experience of the beautiful Prague. I will definitely stay again on my next visit!

"Hotel stay"
rBOBr, 28 Septembre 2019

Hotel situated near to river and 20 mins walk to Charles bridge, old town and main sights. Very clean Hotel with good breakfast and freindly staff . Just about a 4 star in my experience, so no cigar there. Room was bright, large and warm; only negative was standard/condition of mattresses on both beds ... Very poor support . Hotel was asked to change and all they did was transfer from one to other. No feedback response from Hotel what action they had taken . Would I stop there again, yes albeit they isssue raised

"Average rooms, awful breakfast"
SJPabroad, 15 Septembre 2019

Pro's, good location for public transport, big room but old fashioned, fridge, WiFi is very good. Con's, don't honour a twin room request and the Breakfast was awful. Sausage, bacon and eggs were stone cold everyday. The bread was stale. The eggs were rubbery. Currently staying, will eat out tomorrow.

"Good base for a 4 night stay"
srablair, 12 Septembre 2019

We stayed here for a 4 night stay and found it to be a very good base. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the room was serviced daily. There was plenty of hot water for showering and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and included cereals fruit and yoghurt and selection of breads and a great selection of teas. (Teapots for the tea which I always appreciate!). Sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs too. We found the standard of the hotel to be very good, it is near the metro line and the trams and were able to get about well from here. There is a good range of eateries nearby and only 25 minute walk to the main square.

"Clean hotel"
Desertcruise, 10 Septembre 2019

This hotel was very clean and tidy. We asked prior to our trip if possible a room on a higher floor, which they did accommodate, due to the trams running into the night. The breakfast was varied but I was a little disappointed in that it was not HOT, including the “hot water” urn, by the time you've sat down with your breakfast it was no longer hot water. The hotel is in good walking distance to get to the tour buses to see the city highlights and local bars and restaurants etc. My absolute moan is that, obviously anywhere you travel you take out a deposit box for passport and any currency/notes/credit cards that you may have. I did use this service at reception which is free. However, I did leave my mobile phone (a crappy cheap phone of no value) in its protector wallet in the room in my handbag which had nothing of importance in it, and I had a five pound note tucked in a sleeve. When I landed in the UK and went to switch my mobile on this note was no longer in my mobile wallet! I was very astounded that this was taken, luckily I know it was a small amount of money, but my goodness you cannot trust anyone! In this respect I would never stay at this hotel again and shame on that person who took this note.

"Quiet and Congenial"
Zach L, 09 Septembre 2019

Fifteen minutes' walk from Old Town and very near transportation. Hotel would do well with at least some renovation, but everything is clean. The staff is polite and helpful and they all speak good English. Breakfast is good (if not great) and includes at least something for different preferences (from bacon and eggs to dairy, fruits and vegetables). Others wrote of the comfortable beds, and we found that to be so. Reasonable value for the money; it is not an inexpensive hotel, though certainly less costly than places such as the Hilton and Marriott (latter in which I stayed when last in Prague). Overall evaluation -- a good choice.

"Hotel and prague"
Veronica L, 08 Septembre 2019

Hotel was ok, breakfast was the same every day no variety. There was no restaurant in the hotel. Unfortunately staff didn't appear helpful. Ask about hop on hop off bus was given a bit of paper handwritten and stamped with the hotel name. Shown on map where to get bus. Bus wouldn't accept the paper had to walk back to hotel. The receptionist then phoned bus company then told us to go back to bus stop and the next bus which was in 7 minutes would accept us. We did not know there was numerous companies doing the hop on hop off and the receptionist didn't tell us which company we were booked with. Hop on hop off bus stops are not signposted so you are not sure where to pick up the buses. In the busy bits of Prague there are guides but on the outskirts you have no idea where to get the buses. The company we were with was minibuses so not much opportunity to take photos when going round. Again staff were not friendly, I walk with a stick and felt rushed to get off the buses. Have enjoyed my time here but would not come back.

"Weekend break"
jeffrey s, 05 Septembre 2019

Stayed at this hotel for a three night break, hotel was very clean with our room on the fifth floor with a rear view, very comfortable beds with tea and coffee available also air conditioning which was welcoming has the temperature was in the low thirties, breakfast very good with a wide choice, hotel is located not far from the river with a lovely twenty minutes river walk to the centre, tram and metro stops near to the hotel if required, food and drink available near by has the hotel is only b&b. The young girl in the restaurant was very pleasant and a special mention to Silveir on reception who was a credit to the hotel with her customer service.

"Week walking round historic city"
buleyboy377leeds, 31 Août 2019

Hotel is B\\B, 6 to 11 morning meal only, the breakfast is typical for Europe and the spread was very extensive. This hotel is away from the noisy city centre, we walked in most days, the public transport is great but you need to know how to use it, the crowds in the Prague centre can be a problem midday. Things to do Saturday farmers market Travel the vernacular railway and walk round to the castle Take a bus to a local village Suffer the city centre and take a drink with meal at the 2 Cats pub

"Great all round hotel"
nifticalus, 25 Août 2019

We stayed for a long weekend August 2019. From the moment we checked in we were made welcome. The room was great, read reviews of noise but ours was the opposite, really quiet (201) The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold choices. It is a good walk up to the centre (15/20 mins) but its a pleasant walk along the river.

"Clean hotel"
mollieb964, 19 Août 2019

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and breakfast wasn't bad. Rooms were reasonably sized and have air-con. The walls are paper-thin, which means that you regularly get woken up by drunk people coming in at around 3-5am - this could be solved by the hotel having a sign requesting that people are quiet as they enter. Beds were comfy. No in-room safe. Good value for money. Only a 3 minute walk to the river (around 5 minutes to the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning) and a 20 minute walk to Charles' Bridge.

"Not exactly 'Best' Western!"
StevenR1974, 17 Août 2019

Good points: 1. Breakfast was good except for the bacon which was fatty and cremated 2. Large room Bad points: 1. We only stayed for 3 nights but the air con in the room (and elsewhere in the hotel) was broken for 2 out of the 3 days. Reception had no explanation, at first claiming there was no issue, then saying the maintenance company were based out of town and wouldn't be coming until the following day (Friday). We were not kept informed about the situation and had to keep chasing Reception for an update. I even contacted Best Western via Twitter and was told someone would be in touch but they weren't. The last night was unbearably hot and we had to leave our windows open. Despite being on the 4th floor the noise from the regular trams outside during the night / early morning meant we got very little sleep and this spoiled the end of our otherwise enjoyable holiday. 2. The hotel is in the New Town and there aren't many places to eat and drink nearby 3. The Wi-Fi wasn't very fast 4. Safes are behind Reception rather than being in the rooms This hotel could be a lot better if the service and facilities were up to scratch.

"Perfectly located"
AineNiLaine, 16 Août 2019

Very satisfied with this hotel. Room very clean. Breakfast was lovely too. Great price and great location. Simple hotel but perfectly acceptable. No bar but you wouldn't be short of finding one ! Staff were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for good accommodation without all the trimmings.

Fantastic, great food the breakfast is great the blue berry yogurt is highly recommended ,very clean, comfy beds, five minute walk to river,30 minute walk to charles bridge, the staff were very help full, close to shops ,park and trams,

"Excellent Service"
Johnk8920, 16 Juillet 2019

We stayed in this hotel which is situated close to Charles Park about 20 minutes walk or a 5 minute tram ride along the river to the Charles bridge and Old Town Square The staff were very helpful and spoke English Breakfast was included in the price which was tasty and plenty of choice Our room was comfortable with air conditioning which wasn't noisy or intrusive Together with the price offered by EasyJet a very enjoyable four night stay Recommendation purchase the all day tram travel ticket at a cost of 110 Kroner It's really good value for money to get you around the city

"Clean and comfortable "
mrspotato7, 27 Juin 2019

Hotel is clean, comfortable and in quite a good location. It is a short walk from a Tram and Metro stop and is also quite a short walk from one of the Hop on and Hop off pick up points. Breakfast has mostly continental options as you would expect but they do try to accommodate everyone by offering bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans (although not necessarily how you would like it at home). Staff are friendly and accommodating generally although some could smile more. Prague itself is very beautiful and well worth a visit but it might only be necessary to book a short trip of 3 nights as there isn't as much to do.

"One of the best hotels I have been"
Khamlia, 16 Juin 2019

I have been 1 week in Prague and stayed at this hotel which I like very much. It is not first time I have been there and each time I enjoyed 100%. The room is really spacious, nice, very clean, wifi works perfect. The bathroom is comfortable also. The staff is marvelous both inn reception and breakfast room also. Breakfast self is rich, much to choose, all is tasteful. Location is perfect, near to everything, tram stop and Metro is near also. Nice view I had from room toward Emauzy closter and even to Vltava. Highly recommend to everyone.

"Decent hotel in a good location"
H5185UCmichaelo, 30 Mai 2019

Booked 4 nights b & b. Double bed and pillows very comfortable which enabled a good night's sleep. Plentiful and varied breakfasts. Couple of good restaurants nearby. Staff personable and very helpful. Recommend.

"Clean and polite"
Mark H, 30 Mai 2019

Good location near to metro so into the Old Town in 10 minutes. Rooms clean and spacious but air con noisy and poor which is important as the trams are really noisy so can't open windows and the hotel is hot (13 degrees outside was chilly). Breakfast is reasonable and whilst not offered you can order fresh fried eggs. Polite not friendly as is the hospitality culture here. Lots of TV channels but only English channels were news. Used Liftago (local Uber equivalents) to get to the airport 300k less than hotel price.

"hotel well situated"
DonnaWilcock, 29 Mai 2019

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the old town but there is the underground and trams nearby. The public transport is cheap and very good. There is some restaurants nearby so if you want to relax and not go to far you can get food nearby

"city break"
Paul B, 28 Mai 2019

The hotel is not badly situated about a twenty minute walk from Wencleslas square and a 2 minute walk to tram stop, the rooms were clean and tidy with all amenities even a small fridge for mini bar. The breakfast was from 06.30 until 11.00 it was adequate but not too much choice but a good start to the day. There is no evening dining or a bar .The hotel staff were polite and obliging. There are plenty of bars/restaurants nearby and the hotel reception recommended 2 good ones. Great for a city break i would stop there again. The local tram network is really good.

"Excellent hotel "
MartinL316, 23 Mai 2019

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights as part of a Jet2 city breaks holiday. We had a room on the fourth floor ( near the lifts) and were very impressed with it. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was good. The staff kept the room clean and tidy. The package included breakfast and there was plenty of choice including English bacon. scrambled egg, croissants, yogurt, cheese, ham, fruit juice, coffee, etc. The reception staff were very helpful when we asked about the tourist bus tours, trams, etc. The hotel is well located near tram stops and for exploring the main sites of Central Prague ( eg. Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle etc). We really enjoyed our stay here. Well Done!

"BW in Prague"
Loveforetravel, 18 Mai 2019

Hotel is really nice! It's in an ideal location, near trams and easy to get to and from the central station if you're taking the train around Europe. A few minutes walk down the street there's an amazing restaurant u dobré myšlenky that everyone should definitely go to! Room itself is quite lovely, there's a little snack/amenity shop in the lobby and a decent breakfast included. Didn't find staff very pleasant but I think customer service is a bit less expected in Europe as it is in Canada. I work at a chain hotel back home and would repremanded for lack of service offered. Nobody was rude but also not at all welcoming. Would stay again regardless.

"Clean; spacious rooms; quite ok location. "
dr_sylam, 11 Mai 2019

Two blocks from the river on the east end. Twenty minutes walk to the old town and Charles Bridge. Clean. Amenities not as generous. Breakfast Ok. Morning shift front desk man with glasses was very helpful but the evening one tall and a bit tan , not interested to help in any sense. Try the top floor, with roof top sky light windows. Can gave beautiful views.

"Lovely hotel and good location"
58carisas, 24 Avril 2019

This is a lovely hotel. Room is spacious enough for two. Toiletries get replaced daily. We found the smell of tobacco in the passages very offensive. Also the central heating is set very high so the rooms are very hot during the night. Our room had a balcony with double doors but leaving that open for fresh air didn't help as the traffic was then too noisy for us to get any sleep. Breakfast is great - don't miss it!

"Pleasant stay"
918elmard, 19 Avril 2019

Stayed 5 nights Hotel not new but extremely clean Very pleasant staff We felt very safe in the area where the Hotel is situated The best is “very good breakfast “ Close to transport and easy to walk to most attractions

"Good location and good value"
ToppyLeicester, 17 Avril 2019

Really enjoyed our two night stay here. The hotel is clean, breakfast is great and the rooms are large. It's not the most modern hotel and could do with a bit of an update, however don't let that put you off. Good wi-fi service and staff were very helpful. It's located in the new town, which, thankfully for us, was a little quieter. Just a 20 minute walk from the main centre of Prague. Great restaurants nearby too. Would definitely recommend. For travellers on a mid budget visit.

"Birthday Treat"
terryloakes, 12 Avril 2019

We stayed for 3 nights for the wife and her twins 40th perfect location in walking distance for all sights staff very helpfull breackfast was good also plenty of choice rooms were clean. Plenty of transport also trams metro outside the hotel Great City will defoo return

"Christmas Treat"
murtonvic, 04 Avril 2019

Stayed here for a week at Christmas and can't fault the hotel. Fabulous location, excellent public transport links, within walking distance of most attractions and an excellent breakfast served to start the day off. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, excellent fridge and speedy check in all made this a great choice to stay in. Will definitely stay here again in future.

"Great Stay"
Trevor H, 01 Avril 2019

We stayed here recently and found it to be a convenient base for seeing the sights of Prague. It's around a 15 minute walk from the main area, (Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge etc.), but it is in a relatively quiet area with great access within a 100 yards or so to the excellent Prague Metro should you wish to ride rather than walk. The Hotel itself is very nice with probably the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on. The rooms are a spacious and clean, as you would expect from a worldwide branded name. Although not ultra modern we had no complaints about the décor or the room facilities. A safe would have been nice in the room and we were a little surprised we didn't have one, but it didn't really matter for a short 5 day stay. The breakfast was not as extensive as in some hotels we've stayed in around the world but it was adequate, albeit the 'hot food' option being a bit lukewarm on a couple of days. The staff were polite and a bit reserved but the ones we came across spoke excellent English and were very helpful. All in all a good stay in a good hotel in a Great City (our first time there), and if we visit Prague again, we will return here.

"Perfect Location"
Sophie W, 21 Mars 2019

We stayed here for 3 nights for a city break. It was the perfect location everything was a walk away didn't have to get any trams, breakfast was just what you needed and the bedrooms were fab size. Bedrooms were cleaned every morning. They offer ear plugs, hot water bottles or different pillows if needed. You could hear the trams at night but that was expected as there are trams everywhere but I'm a light sleeper and still slept through it as it wasn't that loud. Perfect stay would 100% stay again.

"Perfect"
Emma-24-G, 26 Février 2019

Stayed here for 2 nights with my sister in January. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is served until 11 which we found great! The old town is only 25 minutes away and well worth the trip! Great location

"Really good base"
DBG1971, 22 Février 2019

We checked in on Sunday evening . Just beware that a lot of places shut early on a sunday so if late check in no were to eat .This hotel is really nice but being a best western it is standardized so you sort of no what to expect . The staff are helpful and the rooms are really good . Big windows lots of room and above all very clean the only minor issue is the very soft pillows but we only realized on our last day that you can in fact request firmer ones . There is a little noise with passing trams but nothing to intrusive . Breakfast is served up to 11 o'clock with a good range of fresh food and which is always replenished so it rarely runs out . Free WiFi and also to my amazement free, yes free safety deposit boxes . The old town square is approx 25/30 minutes walk but is a nice walk . You can get a cab from the hotel for approx 145 krona, but beware we tried to get a taxi on the street and the driver wanted 250 . When I challenged him with my previous price he told me to go away which I duly did . We found if we ate on the square the restaurant are only to willing to call you a cab

"Bed and breakfast "
Muggian7, 09 Février 2019

Room was good spacious and comfortable the breakfast was very good. The receptionist were not overly helpful, no information on tram stops, times, prices etc. Or how the system works. Just a leaflet given, perhaps a smile would have gone down well.No lounge area or bar. The hotel was clean and tidy, a good 25 minutes walk into the historic area.

"Winter city break"
Lozzatracey, 04 Février 2019

The hotel is in an excellent central location for you to walk to Wenceslas square and other attractions. Very quiet at night so no noise after a long day of sightseeing. Lovely little local bar at the end of the street which serves a beautiful goulash and a nice pint which was very inexpensive. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a great hotel to stay in when visiting the beautiful city of Prague.

"Lovely Stay"
Margaret H, 22 Janvier 2019

Stayed in this hotel with friends in November 2018. The hotel is in a very central location and easily accessible for all the sights. Whilst the rooms are very basic and old fashioned they are spotless clean and are a good size. Our party was bed and breakfast and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"We kept returning"
lindyh, 20 Janvier 2019

Stayed at this hotel again in November and once again enjoyed our stay. It is well located very close to tram stops and a metro station. Friendly staff who speak good English. Rooms always very clean and they have smoking rooms. The breakfast buffet is very good with a wide choice of different food including some homemade items.

"Everything you need!"
Karen M, 15 Janvier 2019

A clean comfortable hotel within easy reach of trams and metro station. Breakfast was a simple self service continental with the added addition of a few hot dishes, certainly enough to get your day going. A great tea and coffee selection available along with fruit on the bar to take on your day out. Nearby is a great place to stop for a beer and a bite, called The Black Dog Cantina, well worth a visit, they appear to do takeaways too. There is a room to leave your luggage, if you wish to stay beyond the 11 am check out time. The hotel offers a mini shop, with beers, wines, chocolates and essentials etc, we didn't get anything but the prices seemed fair. All in all a great few days at The Moran.

"Basic hotel"
gillybloo7, 13 Janvier 2019

We stayed for 4 nights in November 18. It is a basic hotel that includes breakfast. It's about 29 minutes walk to the old town. The reception is manned by very unhelpful staff, and we would not stay there again.

"Amazing hotel"
laurachar21, 02 Janvier 2019

I love the hotel it's not placed in town but only 5 minutes tram ride away. The hotel is clean lovely staff breakfast were simple but lovely there something for everyone . Definitely will be back next year

"Great location"
Pook72, 31 Décembre 2018

Stayed here for 3 nights. No issues. Clean big rooms. Great breakfast selection. About 20 minute walk to old town. Plenty of restaurants near. Big supermarket, large pharmacy around the corner. Quiet area. Would stay here again.

"Christmas markets "
gillo280, 30 Décembre 2018

This was our first visit to Prague , we stayed for 4 nights we had a private transfer from the airport which was first class. Our room was very big plenty of room for all 3 of us beds very comfortable & the pillows were amazing the only thing I can find fault in the rooms were very hot at night & couldn't turn the heating down or open a window because of traffic noise ! Breakfast was good a good choice of hot or cold food , staff was quite friendly & helpful, location was prefect only a short distance from the metro, buses etc but most things were close enough if you wanted to walk . The Christmas markets were amazing so was all the places we visited, loved every minute of our time in Prague & would love to go back again , would highly recommend Best Weston hotel & Prague.

"Comfortable place to sleep"
LizM1234567890, 20 Décembre 2018

Bed was comfortable. Big room with high ceiling. Good value for money. The hotel is a little outdated but it's a comfortable place to sleep. Amenities could be better. There are no outlets next to the bed so unable to charge phone over night. Fixed hairdryer could do with a bit more oomph to dry your hair before heading out in to the cold. Overall pleasant stay.

"Christmas Market City Break"
chriswood72, 15 Décembre 2018

My family and I stopped at the Best Western City Hotel Moran on a 4 night city break. The hotel itself is ideally located right next to the Karlovo Namesti Metro stop a brief 5 min walk from the hotel or a 10-15 minute walk to the centre and main attraction of Prague. There are a number of decent restaurants nearby (The Black Dog, Cafe Amandine, Fresco Vento and Jacobs) as well as some small supermarkets. We stopped in room 606 on the top floor unfortunately right opposite the elevator which meant for most nights we were kept awake by returning guests from their evenings out and to our surprise noise from the streets below six floors down. The room itself was clean but a bit small for three people and very little closet space for clothing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room came with coffee making facilities, a televison, a fridge and a small selection of complimentary toiletries. There was no safe in the room but were available to rent at the reception area. The breakfast area was clean and spacious but, in our opinion, had a very small selection. There was no bar area but had a tiny supermarket selling a few basic items. The staff were pleasant and informative and our overall stay served the purpose of our visit. Would we stop here again? Probably not as we would look for somewhere with better facilities. The hotel however was good value for the price we paid and enjoyed our break.

"Very comfortable hotel"
Lola683, 13 Décembre 2018

On our arrival we were shown straight to our room it was a really comfortable room, the beds were great the sheets and pillows were good as I'm funny about sheets they were good.So after a busy day walking and exploring it was lovely to get back to that room. Breakfast was good plenty of fruit cereals, eggs, bacon etc plenty of different breads coffee, teas and pastries. Location was excellent metro down the road we used the trams no 17 took you right to Charles bridge and the old square where the main Christmas Market is. There are plenty of restaurants in Prague from cheap to expensive.

"Christmas markets in Prague"
Mark P, 12 Décembre 2018

Arrived in Prague on a very cold afternoon. Taxi driver was very good and gave us a map of the city and told us where we should go. When we arrived at our hotel( The Best Western hotel Moran)and went inside it had obviously seen better days as had the staff!!! Our room was very tired but clean and it served its purpose. There was no bar in the hotel, so we had to walk about 10 minutes for a drink. Prague, itself it very clean but not very well sign posted. We went on a hop on hop off bus tour which was very good value for money. We got off at the castle, which is beautiful and the scenery from up there of Prague was fantastic. We did a lot of walking around the old town market as well as King Wenceslass square. Both markets were very nice but much of a muchness. If we did Prague again, we would not stay in this hotel. Too tired and half an hour walk to the main sites.

"Great value hotel within easy walk to city."
DonnaDickson66, 11 Décembre 2018

Love this hotel, great value, great location, great staff! Lovely clean rooms and fantastic buffet breakfast makes this hotel a great place from.which to explore Prague by foot or public transport. Very quiet location but within easy walking distance of a lot of the tourist spots

"small room ,but clean and quiet"
Chloeh114, 07 Décembre 2018

we stay here 7 nights, the room was small and it was hard to move around in with two people. the bed is very comfortable and the room was cleaned each day by a friendly staff. The breakfast was good, both hot and cold items : eggs , bacon, oatmeal , fresh fruit , yogurt ,breads , cereal, and cold cuts. teas, coffee regular and a machine to make espresso etc. the staff in the breakfast room did a great job keeping the tables clean and the food items filled.. They were not very friendly, but would respond back after you said hello first. the desk people were ok ,some a little friendly , some I am not to sure about. When you stay 7 nights you see a lot more of the hotel and staff. It may just be the people in this city , I would not call them friendly but I can not say unfriendly, more like neutral. which surprise me for a city that have a lot of tourists come through. The location is good and on a quiet street , easy to walk to places or take a tram or a metro. There will alway be positive and negative to a place. would I stay here again , not sure .

"Nice hotel"
Gerald P, 28 Novembre 2018

The hotel is ideally situated on the outskirts of the old town. It takes a pleasant15/20 minute walk along the river to Charles bridge. The rooms we all had were roomy and spotlessly clear and very warm, a bit too warm at night. We just slept with the inner window open so no great deal. The breakfast in the morning was ideal, had plenty of choice and the waitresses constantly replenished all the food and collected used dishes. The registration was straight forward. The staff at the desk had limited conversation and look a bit stern but we were allowed into our rooms at 2pm on arrival.

"Decent pitstop"
PaulJ72, 19 Novembre 2018

Clean and tidy, what more could you ask for in a city centre break hotel. Oh yes the breakfast was allowed for a decent start. Slight criticism is that the stairs could be better lit at night, however staff friendly and walk about 20 mins from main attractions.

"Nice hotel"
Liam_v1, 19 Novembre 2018

Hotel was well situated and ticked all the boxes we needed. The beds were comfy and rooms were of good size with a shower and fridge. The downside was at breakfast time the restaurant had no tables free at certain times. There was no booking system or sitting system so whilst some waited in the foyer for diners to leave others walked straight in a grabbed the table. So, if your running a tight schedule avoid the 'prime time' breakfast. Some guests wrote in the comments book they were disappointed the hotel did not have a bar, this didn't bother us but it may you.

"Weekend break"
lesley b, 14 Novembre 2018

We stayed here weekend of 10/11/18 to 12/11/18 had a great time, staff helpful. The view from room 602 stunning. Really enjoyed Prague, beautiful city and this hotel's well situated to see all. Breakfast fine, had better but also had alot worse.

"Great breakfast - good location"
CAB102, 12 Novembre 2018

Great location, only 10 -15 mins walk to Old Town Square. Hotel very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast including home- made porridge. Would recommend and would stay here again.

"Great location, beautifully maintained!"
v4vpw, 06 Novembre 2018

Great place, great service - most enjoyable stay. Staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Breakfast consists of a wide variety of foods - enough to suit any taste. Mini mart/shop is very convenient.

"Don't expect to take a shower"
joseantonios79, 31 Octobre 2018

There was NO water pressure at all, not possible that water was coming from the shower, just from the bath and still just a tiny little bit. I had to take a shower my 2 days of stay pulling up the faucett. NOT acceptable, NOT recommended, WON'T stay there again

"Great hotel, lovely breakfast and nice staff "
JOHNANDEVE127, 18 Octobre 2018

4 friends stayed here and we would all stay here again if we return to Prague. Rooms for smokers, balconies, great breakfasts, lovely little shop at entrance Beds comfy, rooms grand, especially with balcony's. Reception staff lent us chargers for phones which was a lovely touch. Got business card from reception staff with hotel name and address and was able to use for taxis.

"Good location, and great rooms."
Alexandre M, 17 Octobre 2018

The hotel location is central and very good, and the hotel building is great (the rooms are big and the breakfast room suits the purposes). The breakfast has a varied buffet with pleasing food. The downside is that the service is poor and the hotel has no parking lot. Moreover, the garage they indicate is very expensive.

"prague 3 days"
lindysue60, 17 Octobre 2018

brilliant hotel, staff was very polite and very helpful, rooms was spotless and cleaned everyday, beds was very comfortable, breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from. easy access to the metro, in a nice spot to walk from to practically any were

"Lovely area near Botanic Gardens/Charles University"
Traveler43065, 16 Octobre 2018

Nicer rooms and building than we had seen in other parts of town. Our room was on the top floor and we enjoyed a beautiful view over buildings and caught a nice peek of the sunset. Enjoyed our breakfast experience and the French restaurant across the street for dinner. Many ammenities in and around the hotel.

"GREAT HOTEL"
Graham F, 24 Septembre 2018

Easy check in , comfy beds, good self service breakfast, all staff were helpful and freindly. Good location, we did plenty of walking, Booked this hotel again for next year . Some road noise which is to be expected in a city so need ear plugs.

"City break"
Sandra E, 17 Septembre 2018

Excellent hotel, room was very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection . Had a great few days and would definitely stay again. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance, and close to lovely park for a relaxing stroll

cazCannockStaffs, 10 Septembre 2018

Check in was quick, room 401 was spotless lovely big room the bed was amazing so comfy, comfy pillows, didn't use air conditioning, opened windows instead, plenty of wardrobe space, mini fridge (brought beer & water from Albert supermarket) clean bathroom, powerful shower. Prague is beautiful lots to see had beautiful weather, didn't use public transport we walked everywhere Prague Castle is a must, breakfast was lovely bacon, sausage, scrambled egg (was more like omelette) fresh bread, fruit, cake etc would definitely recommend best western hotel

"Nice stay"
Sandra D, 31 Août 2018

We stayed 4 nights quite good room size shower over bath .no safe which is minus especially passports money documents etc. air conditioning was noisey but receptionist got that fixed 90 % but we turned it off. Nice linen. Breakfast was nice replenished quickly . There was scrambled eggs boiled eggs and fried eggs sausages bacon. Yogurt toast rolls cheese ham etc tea coffee orange and apple juice . Check was ok except you had to fill in form all manually which took a bit of time .other hotels do this electronically.

"Accomodation"
GayeM60, 29 Août 2018

We have spent three days here in Prague and our room here was ready on our arrival . The desk staff are efficient and accomadating. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is adequate and plentiful. The hotel location is perfect for everything you need to see and do in the city . Very close to the river and landmarks. We are 3 senior ladies travelling together but managed to walk everywhere each day . Except for the castle ????

"Nice Hotel "
BB1978xx, 25 Août 2018

Good hotel, good location, 15/20 min walk to main areas or there is a tram stop and subway station a few minutes walk away, few restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate area Standard hotel breakfast, enjoyable but nothing special. Only slight let down was the size of the room, I had read many reviews about the rooms were large but ours seems to be quite small and cramped, nothing wrong with it but I had just expected bigger and no view either Room also had tea/coffee facilities, mini fridge and air con which was must in heat. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready but they do have a luggage store area at reception

"Trip to celebrate an anniversary"
Brian W, 11 Août 2018

We were impressed with the staff at this hotel, helpful, professional and welcoming. It is a well placed hotel, near to restaurants, river, trams and shops. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both hot and cold food and drinks, and it is replenished often .they will cook eggs to order, if anything runs out just ask. Kindly we were allowed a late check out, so we could get up late, go out for lunch and return for our luggage later to go by taxi to the airport. The beds for us were too soft, maybe we are Mummy bears, but that would not stop us recommending to others, the cleanliness of the rooms was very good and they are spacious rooms, not all staff speak good English but we don't speak Czech so we can't complain. Outside being repainted so windows in public areas were covered in plastic when we visited.

"Well Placed and Comfortable."
Colin M, 03 Août 2018

Enjoyed a three night stay in a Comfortable room with air con,fridge,tea/coffee spacious bathroom and a nice soft bed.Ample breakfast with a good variety of hot/cold food, juices, tea, coffee etc.very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and few minutes walk to subway and tram stops to various places all over Prague. A few restaurants a couple minutes walk if you fancy a change from the hustle bustle of the old town. Thoroughly Recommend.

"Great hotel "
Luke9296, 30 Juillet 2018

I stayed here as part of a lads weekend in July, the hotel is in a perfect location close to all attractions, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable! Breakfast accommodates most needs with a selection of hot and cold food with plenty of juices, teas and coffees. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

"Centrally located in nice historic building - we would come back"
Branka V, 20 Juillet 2018

We enjoyed our stay here, it is a small quiet hotel close to everything. The hotel is well maintained, room spacious and clean, with a balcony. Breakfast is very good. Staff is professional and helpful, we were allowed to checkout later, by 1PM.

"Best Eastern?"
Drozinc, 08 Juillet 2018

We flew into Prague from Southend. Our arrival was smooth and the staff were friendly at all times. The room was larger than expected. It was clean and tidy. The hotel is near the river and the tram system. The sights of Prague are many and well documented. We did an evening dine and dance show. It was good fun with a great atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in recommending Best Western Moran.

"Anniversary trip"
SharonNDaivid, 27 Juin 2018

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with a warm welcome, our room was on the 4 th floor at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet and very clean. The hotel offer breakfast which was very good, lots of choice and everything was labelled. Once again staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel.

"Very comfortable"
sandraallen944, 27 Juin 2018

We stayed here for 4 nights very comfortable beds lovely breakfast and quite central for trams and the river Tslava. Lots of restaurants nearby and boat trips. On the day we went there were only four of us no one else wanted to go ..so we had the whole boat to ourself.

"Best Western Moran Prague"
Trevor B, 24 Juin 2018

Best Hotel I have stopped in for a while. Very clean. Help full staff ( who spoke good English) Good location near river. Nice food at breakfast also near bars what do excellent food. air conditioned rooms, free safe behind reception. also has a mini shop incase you don't want to venture outside of the Hotel

"Excellent "
bellelouise, 23 Juin 2018

Stayed here for 4 nights and could not fault it, staff friendly and helpful. Stayed on 4th floor room over looked gardens and rear houses was very quiet. Nice size room, very comfy bed, decent shower just didnt stay secure in holder. Breakfast was typical buffet style with small hot selection and plenty of choice for everyone so those who have moaned in reviews should perhaps go self catering or stay in UK. Hotel was few minutes from river, trains and trams. I have mobility issues and although pavements are similar to cobbled managed to walk to Old Town with stops on enroute

"Great weekend"
nicholson254, 19 Juin 2018

This hotel is in a good position for all the sights we had a great weekend very comfortable bed no noise from the street or the corridors, we stayed in room 109 the breakfast was good with a variety of cereals fruits breads yoghurts sweet pastries and bacon beans sausages and eggs many ways ie: scrambled boiled fried. All staff very friendly especially the reception cannot do enough for you we would deffiently stay here again.

"I would not stay here again"
tobegold, 15 Juin 2018

We arrived late in the evening around 10:00, the man at reception was not welcoming at all, later when I bought some items from the minimart the same man would not let me charge the items to my room and wanted cash, he begrudgingly let me pay by credit card when I told him I did not have any Czech currency. Room was HOT, the air conditioning was grossly inadequate, taking over 24 hours to cool down to a comfortable level, shower lacked pressure. Breakfast was just okay, but staff not friendly at all - no welcomes. The only friendly staff member we encountered was the man who we gave our bags to for storage on our departure and was there in the afternoon when we retrieved them. We would not stay here again.

"Lack amenities"
Tomas W, 05 Juin 2018

My wife and I just finished three nights stay in the hotel. We were in BW hotels around US many times. Most BWhotels or BW plus have much more amenities than that one but only have three stars or even 2 1/2 stars. The location of the hotel is good but is not great. Thanks Uber it costs about $4.00 from the hotel to old town square on off peak price. The hotel claims walking distance to most places. Actually it is not true. Many places are too far for walking. Room is very tiny. Elevator is extremely tiny. Never try to stop the elevator closing door which is so quick and so powerful. Continental breakfast is ok. Limited warm food (not hot food) are provided. The hotel has rich history. However you could not find any photos or others to attract customers. AC works very well in our room.

"A lovely hotel"
Nicolagowland238, 02 Juin 2018

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is in a perfect location, 5 min walk to the river, 25 min walk to Charles Bridge, 30 min walk to the Astronomical Clock. Rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast was plentiful and enough choice. Only negative comments are that the Staff could do with smiling! And the Air Con wasn't as effective as it could've been. A highly recommended hotel.

"Nice and functioning"
TeWe, 19 Mai 2018

A nice and clean hotel in a hood location, a short tram or metro ride from everything, and the stations are close by. The room was clean and quiet and had everything needed. Breakfast was good enough with a selection of breads, fruit and also a couple of hot options like bacon, sausages and eggs.

"Birthday weekend"
728Debbie728, 07 Mai 2018

On arrival room was decent size, clean and well laid out. I found the shower in the middle of the bath awkward to use. I have only rated hotel 4 stars due to the housekeeping. We returned one day to find cups not washed out I do think if you provide tea making facilities then the housekeeping should either replace the used cups or clean them or if they do want guests to do it themselves provide us with dish washing liquid at least. On another day out we returned after 3pm and the room still hadn't been made up which is poor service. Location is good, my top tip is buy a travel card about £4 this lasts for full 24 hours and you can use it one metro, trams and furnicular railway.

"City break"
Kirsty M, 27 Avril 2018

Hotel was very clean. Great location within walking distance to centre and hotel staff were very helpful. Would recommend to friends and family. Would visit this hotel if travelling to Prague again...

"3 night break "
AndrewvTomkins, 18 Avril 2018

Nice little hotel for a short break , good breakfast , clean room and comfy beds , loved the walk into the old town found loads of interesting things to see , would stay again in a heartbeat. Plenty of pubs and places to eat locally and right on the subway and tram stop

"Great Little Hotel in a Good Location."
mollymOxon_Berks, 15 Avril 2018

My husband and I stayed at the city Moran for 3 nights in February. The hotel was in a good quiet location within easy walking distant to the popular areas. It had supermarkets and restaurants next door and nearby. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful in this efficient well run hotel. The rooms were really cosy and comfortable and spotlessly clean. I felt this hotel was excellent value for money. The breakfast was great, good choice and well presented.....only slight downside is that the breakfast room is a little small and cramped. Otherwise fantastic. Had an amazing time in this lovely city.

"4 night stay."
jimmyb0468, 15 Avril 2018

Just back from a 4 night stay in this hotel. Hotel benefits from being in a decent location, about 20 minutes walk to the old town. Hotel was clean and rooms were reasonable size. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Cereals, toast, coffee and teas etc. NO bar in hotel. Didn't bother me, as out most of the time. Would stay here again.

"Good hotel in convenient location"
BRUCIE_lucy_Brian, 11 Avril 2018

I stayed here with my Mum in January 2018. We stopped for 4 nights B&B. Our room was nice and big, and clean, with a lovely sized bathroom. The hotel room had a good sized fridge and a safe. The staff were nice and friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was ok, a bit disappointing after reading the reviews of how nice it was. I would say it was average, and I have stayed in a huge variety of hotels; breakfast is pretty important to me! They had just about enough choice of cereals, yoghurt, bread, small pastries, cold meats and cheese, some scrambled (some days fried) egg, frankfurters and very hard bacon. The coffee was good and there was a great selection of teas available. The location was the best part. Very close (15-20 minutes walk) into the old town. We walked everywhere apart from a couple of times at night where I got lost (thanks to stupid directions on google maps haha) and we hailed a taxi. There were no issues with grabbing a taxi, all metered and cheap enough. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Prague. (unless you want a gym. I forgot to check and brought all my running gear then realised there was no gym!!)

"Birthday Trip Away!"
ChelseaM94, 07 Avril 2018

We decided on a few days away in Prague for our parents' birthdays. We chose the Best Western City Hotel Moran due to a reasonable price and good reviews from others. On arrival in this beautiful city, we were greeted by the receptionist and given our hotel room keys. There was a brief problem with one of our rooms as the key card was not working, staff gave us another key card which also did not work. Problem was sorted quickly and we were given a new room. Rooms were spotlessly clean, good facilities (bath, shower, hairdryer, tea, coffee, fridge and tv). Breakfast was served early from 6:30am, when arriving in the breakfast room we noticed it was already full (8:30am) and all tables filled, however staff opened up the overflow table area and set the table for us. Food was average, lots of cereal, porridge, nuts/seeds, sausages, bacon, boiled eggs, pastries. The hotel is in a good location, approximately 5 minutes walk to the river. Lots of walking was completed on the first day until we figured out which tram to get. (Lots of other transport available.) A 24 hour tram ticket costs roughly £4. Would recommend catching the number 17 tram as it travels straight up and down the river where lots of restaurants, shops and bars are placed. We particularly enjoyed our walks along Charles Bridge (get there early, before 10am to avoid a rush of people.) We also enjoyed exploring Lennon Wall, again this gets very busy. Overall, we've had a lovely stay at this hotel. Disadvantages being the lack of bar and lack of lovely decor to brighten up the place?! But it was nice for a couple of days stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"Nice clean hotel near metro"
1970schild, 05 Avril 2018

We stayed 3nights here, bed and breakfast, reasonable prices, very clean, abundant breakfast! What do you want more? Bonus: it is couple of corners away from metro station, so easy to travel. Thumbs up!

"Lovely hotel"
Holly E, 31 Mars 2018

Lovely hotel in a great location for transport links and walks down the river. Hotel rooms were clean and very spacious and the breakfast in the morning will set you up for a days sightseeing. Staff friendly and courteous. Will definitely stay in this hotel on future returns to Prague!

"Wonderful kind staff! "
3shorest, 30 Mars 2018

This is going to be a strange review because I wanted to get across how lovely and helpful the staff are at this hotel, nothing to much trouble and they really tried to help me. That is why I am giving 5 stars to all the staff. The location of the hotel is very good too. I would recommend this to everyone apart and this is the problem to anyone disabled. I use a mobility scooter and therefore this hotel is if no use to me. Steps to go in, steps to the breakfast room, the staff seems happy to haul my scooter up and down but I just don't want that, I want to be able to be independent and not have to rely on the good natured staff. So no stars for Best Western, they have listed they have facilities for disabled guests but I don't know where!! No walk in showers, no ramps, they are naughty for doing that as I would not have chosen this hotel if I had known. I expect better from the Best Western brand, they would not away with this in the UK or USA. So staff fantastic ??????????, Best Western ??. So if you are not disabled, use this hotel, the location and staff are perfect. If you are look elsewhere until BW spend some money on ramps instead of relying on good natured staff .

"2nd stay at this hotel "
GreenyG80, 27 Mars 2018

As the title says, our 2nd stay at this hotel. Reception staff are very helpful, and check in was easy. The rooms are dated but clean which is the main thing. Could do with having more plug sockets and nearer to the bed side. Wi-Fi works well with no issues. Breakfast was good and plenty, some of the staff were surly but I think that's just the demeanour of the Czech people. Plenty of fresh food to choose from and an opportunity to load up for the day ahead.

"Prague city break"
Beverley W, 21 Mars 2018

Lovely hotel close for walking to the highlights of the City. Hotel and room very clean and warm. Staff very helpful and polite. Good breakfast every morning with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again.

"2nd visit it - love it!"
Carolyn H, 19 Mars 2018

Stayed here twice in 4 years. Fantastic location, few mins walk away from the subway, trams and river. Rooms are comfortable and warm with great showers, we've also had a little balcony both times we have stayed. Lots of choice at breakfast. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The young guy on reception spent ages with us, working out how to get back to the airport etc. Great quality hotel - would def stay here a 3rd time.

"Conveniently situated and good service with friendly, helpful staff."
Robert W, 15 Mars 2018

I stayed here on a city break with a small group and a tour guide. The hotel was chosen for us. It was central and near all public transport - and only a short distance from the river Vitava. Reception staff were efficient and friendly - and reception contained a central security safe and a small shop. My room was well furnished and quite large. It had single beds pushed together to form a double bed. This was comfortable fine for me as I was on my own. The TV was larger than found in most hotel bedrooms. Excellent. A teas maid was thoughtfully provided - and the bathroom had a bath and over-bath shower; excellent. It was roomy, with plenty of space for toiletries. The buffet breakfast was more than ample and the seating area was comfortable and spacious. Tables were cleared quickly and staff were helpful. The hot water geyser wasn't hot enough shortly after the restaurant opened - but was fine within five minutes. An early breakfast could be provided (packaged) for early travelers. The twin lifts were more than ample for the size of this hotel. Seating in the hotel foyer was comfortable but more limited than usual; however it proved to be sufficient - apart from when our group was checking out and waiting for our transport - when there weren't enough seats. A quiet, central, comfortable and friendly city-center hotel. Recommended.

"Wonderful stay in the Best Western City Hotel Moran"
Anne C, 11 Mars 2018

Having enjoyed a super three day trip to Prague, a large part of the trip's success was the stay at this hotel. Conveniently located, clean, well equipped and supported by professional and caring staff, I would recommend this hotel to travellers to this beautiful city. The breakfast had a good variety on offer frequently re-stocked so that the food was fresh throughout. Would not hesitate in booking to return to this hotel.

"Very helpful staff."
liquidgold1950, 10 Mars 2018

Great hotel very very clean..comfy soft pillows.. room size was adequate for two people...spent 5 nights here..breakfast good eat as much or as little as you want. Did a lot of walking and bus tours which we paid for at the hotel. Very near to the Fred and Ginger dance building. Also a lovely restaurant/ cafe right across the road. Plenty of trams buses etc to get around the city.

"lovely friendly hotel"
Malcolm R, 09 Mars 2018

Its location was very handy for our needs during or stay in Prague, nice comfortable rooms and cleaned everyday and very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, in the morning breakfast was available from 0630 self service all kept topped up with two very cheery waitresses who spoke good English. Could choose from full fried, cereals or continental breakfast and go up as often as you like. Coffee teas soft drinks all available, all nicely laid out on spotlessly clean tables. Free wifi in the rooms and large TV, heating was a bit too hot so had to turn the radiator down and window open a jar. It was a nice cosy hotel not to large, we got to know some of the other guests during our stay. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

"Great hotel, great location But.... "
Cathryn J, 03 Mars 2018

We stayed here for 4 nights, great clean warm hotel, good location. Staff in reception and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok, unfortunately the staff in the restaurant let it down, very unhelpful, rude at times, and was if they didn't want to be there. You asked a question and they'd reply but then talk in Czech with their colleagues then laugh which implied they were laughing at you and other guests. No vegetarian options for a hot breakfast. Shame no bar on a night as this would bring in extra money for the hotel. Overall the hotel is good, clean and warm, just some staff members are letting the others down. Cathryn J Leeds

"Moran a treat"
fozzy150, 03 Mars 2018

Very enjoyable 4 night stay. The Hotel Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming, and the atmosphere was good. Our room, on a higher floor, was quiet, clean and warm, which was much appreciated after long days spent sightseeing in the cold. The breakfast buffet was well presented and offered hot and cold dishes, which were constantly replenished. The Hotel is within a 5 minute walk of a metro station and also trams into the City, but we found it quite an easy walk, taking about 10 - `15 minutes. We particularly appreciated the safety deposit facility, the tea/coffee making equipment, and the fridge. There is also a small mini market in the Hotel foyer selling drinks and snacks, and several restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. All in all, a very good experience and we would recommend the Best Western City Moran, and certainly stay here again.

"4 day trip "
Elizabeth S, 03 Mars 2018

Had a lovely visit to Prague and stayed here. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. It is a bed and breakfast hotel only but there are plenty of restaurants near to the hotel. The hotel give you a 10% discount card to use at the cafe restaurant just opposite. Would stay there again. It is on the main tram/bus route into the city centre.

"Clean hotel"
Anna O, 23 Février 2018

Stayed here for 4 nights with my partner. The hotel was very clean, quiet and spacious with comfy beds. The room was also well heated which was nice to come back to after a long day out in the cold. The bathroom was also very clean with fresh towels every day and a powerful shower/bath. The breakfast was average but had a variety of different foods. From the airport you can buy a 90 minute travel ticket and get the number 100 bus to Zlicin, then get the B line metro to Karlovo Namesti and the hotel is just around the corner - we arrived in just under an hour. We arrived quite late so went to the pizza restaurant down the road which was delicious and relatively cheap. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the river and about a 15/20 minute walk to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. Very clean hotel in a good location, can't really fault it, would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a few days break. lovely hotel, friendly staff and very close to a hop on hop off bus stop. The hotel has it's now little shop so you can buy anything you need. breakfast was lovely, it was self service but very clean and nicely set out. The only down side is the lack of bar, it would have been great to get a meal or a drink in the evening. However there is a few places near by. I would stay in this hotel again.

"Great location "
User, 01 Janvier 2018

Clean rooms good beds, varied breakfast and fab location. You can also buy the travel passes here for adults 24hrs £4.50. Tram / metro stop approx 100m. Good restaurants nearby. Helpful staff. Easy to get to from the airport 119 bus then metro with 1 change cost approx £1.

NorthernMrsS, 29 Décembre 2017

This is a very plesant hotel to stay at when visiting Prague. The rooms are a good size & comfortably decorated. Breakfast is available for guests & there is plenty of choice. The hotel is in a good location for sight seeing, it is only about 15 minutes walk to Charles Bridge & Wensleslas Square. There is an underground station a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, the underground is extremely easy to use & excellent value for money. We would certainly recommend the hotel & would use it again if we return to Prague.

"Great hotel"
laurenchatham, 20 Décembre 2017

Stayed here the beginning of dec with my mum gran and grandad loved it ! Nothing to complain about beds comfy, room spacious, breakfast is good about 10-15 min walk to old town square quiet location which was good at night time ! Few nice places to eat at the bottom of the road Overall great place to stay would definitely recommend

"Short ride to historic centre"
Familytravellers80, 11 Décembre 2017

Comfortable hotel within a short walk to take the tram to get to the old town. We arrived via the train and it was a short 3 mins walk to the hotel. The tram ride to the old town to explore took approximately 10 mins. Breakfast was really good and had a great selection with juices, coffees and teas. Close to supermarkets and coffee shops. It was unusually cold when we arrived in Prague and once requested, a portable heater was delivered to our room, which was very much appreciated. The hotel is older in style but very clean with high ceilings that make the room feel so large with a big window to let in lots of natural light.

"Excellent location"
Patsy and Janet B, 09 Décembre 2017

Stayed here for Christmas markets, this hotel had everything we wished for. The beds were so comfortable, good showers. Breakfast good. Hotel staff obliging and friendly. On arrival, given room next to lift, asked reception to be moved, no problem given a lovely room overlooking a beautiful cathedral. There is no bar in this place but it has a little shop selling everything you need at a very reasonable price.Asked at reception for a place eat, sent us to Potrefena Husa just five minutes walk, across the street from the river. I can heartily recommend this place the food good, beer excellent, wine a little cool, they soon remedied that. It was the best value one could get, they even allowed dogs.. another place for value in the “Princ” restaurant in old town square, even if the waiter was very “grumpy”. Avoid the Italian one with cellar across the square.. the prices are extremely high. This is a beautiful city and everything is in walking distance, the castle was enchanting, the mulled wine “grog” there was the very best.

"Nice hotel with good ambience"
RAMESHDAS, 07 Décembre 2017

The hotel is well located. The rooms are spacious and nice. Tea kettle is there in the rooms. The breakfast quality is good. The hotel is not far from the heart of the city. The lifts are slightly slow.

"Best western stay"
johnnieawalker, 07 Décembre 2017

"good hotel in the right position"
billmartin2016, 05 Décembre 2017

this hotel is clean with friendly staff lovely rooms and its position close to the river and just the right distance from the town center was just right for me It had good restaurants close by so if you did not want to venture into the town at night you did not have to The new shopping center across the river was about 15 minutes walk away as was the town center itself and the tram stop was two minutes away.Could not be better even the breakfast was great.

"Prague"
davidfZ4079OQ, 05 Décembre 2017

A superb break to Prague, excellent value for money, great hotel with good food and location, would recommend to families, couples or solo visit. Location very good and local transport excellent. Would visit again.

"Comfortable, well located hotel"
Judgedreadful, 24 Novembre 2017

Nice comfortable hotel on the outer edges of Prague city but well within walking distance of all tourist sites. Good size bedrooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. Sell water, wine, snacks which is useful, especially if arriving late. Also sell the 24 hour public transport passes at reception. Only downside is there is no bar/lounge

"Lovely hotel"
48lynn, 19 Novembre 2017

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Moran, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge in room and tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty of choice at breakfast with a selection of both hot and cold foods. The trams and metro station were just around the corner to the hotel, the hotel is in a good location with a pleasant 15/20 minute walk to the city's main attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting prauge.

"Queen in Prague"
davidtjax, 13 Novembre 2017

Can not fault this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly, tje hotel was clean and the breakfast excellent, the only fault there was no bar on site, if that is a fault, as there were several within 400m, location was good only being 20mins walk to the old town square

"Prague City Break"
nickl19662017, 08 Novembre 2017

Great location. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Good quality fixtures and fittings in the room. Wide choice for breakfast. Great for exploring the city. Trams and underground nearby. Equally easy to walk into the city centre.

"Overall nice hotel "
Elliot H, 05 Novembre 2017

The hotel is located in a quiet area of the city with close access to the subway. athe room was clean and towels replaced everyday etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing is the breakfast options were limited and hot food was cold but overall nice hotel

"Good hotel"
Rosemary C, 02 Novembre 2017

This was a good, clean hotel. Just what I expect from the Best Western chain. The towels were changed on a daily basis and there was plenty of hot water for baths and showers. The porridge was wonderful for breakfast, but unfortunately other elements from breakfast ran out and weren't replenished. This may have been because we came down for breakfast around 10am. All in all this was a good hotel in a convenient location in a busy city.

"Perfect and quaint"
Katie A, 29 Octobre 2017

This hotel is a gem! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful - they even recommended restaurant's. Our room (308) was cleaned daily and towels were changed daily. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. This hotel is a perfect location and a nice 15-20 minute walk into the main squares. We will deffinatly be staying at this hotel again when we return to Prague.

"Very close to the river and city center Excellent Location"
collinwardle, 22 Octobre 2017

Very nice hotel for bed and breakfast very helpful and friendly staff Breakfast warm and cold excellent choice rooms very clean and very comfortable Easy accesses to Trams just outside the door, also underground just down the street Family friendly hotel

"City Break "
mctraveler23, 21 Octobre 2017

Had a great time in Prague and this hotel helped with the experience, Check in was very straight forward, no hassle Rooms (we had 2) both on the same Floor were large and very clean with great views, beds were comfey and all had great sleeps, no noise from the street below Breakfast was nice with the usual bread and rolls with varoius cold meats and cheese, with a small hot section, something for everyone. Staff, brilliant from the check in guys to the breakfast girls, nothing was to much hassle Checking out, again no issues We had booked our own transfers, from the airport to the hotel was good, however we were let down for the return, the guys on the front desk were very helpfull, keeping my wife calm and assuring her that the taxi they arranged for us would get to the airport on time, it did. Big thanks guys, hope to see you all soon again. Oh there is a Pizza restaurant just down the street, just the best, dont look any further

"Great hotel"
Steven Y, 13 Octobre 2017

Great hotel lovely rooms very comfortable beds and quiet a little further from old town than I expected but worked out fine only downside for me was there was no bar area to sit and relax to have a coffee or beer before going to bed but overall I would would be happy to stay again .

"Best Western Moran, Czech Republic"
Karen052014 B, 07 Octobre 2017

We had 5 nights at this beautiful, quaint hotel. The service was great. The included breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. There are also lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Good tram service around the corner. Easy walk to the river. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A great stay!

"Great for Prague"
jnd67, 03 Octobre 2017

An excellent choice for a week in Prague. Close enough to tourist sites to walk, however trams available nearby if preferred. Clean and comfortable hotel with helpful and informative staff. Plenty of choice at buffet breakfast. Only 2 minutes from river, then a nice River walk to centre and Saturday farmers market. Will definitely use this hotel next time we visit Prague.

"Great location"
AandDT, 01 Octobre 2017

The location is great for exploring Prague. It is a 15 minute walk to Charles bridge and another 10 minutes to the Old Town. There is a metro station on the corner of the street , and tram stops nearby although we did not use them. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean . Bathrooms are good with showers and a bathtub! There is no safe in the room but the hotel has safety deposit boxes for client use free of charge. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice. There is a great little 'French' restaurant opposite the hotel too.

"Nice city, very disappointing hotel"
PR2Preston_England, 23 Septembre 2017

We have just returned after spending 4 nights in Prague. We decided to book a 4* hotel, read reviews and settled on the Best Western City Hotel Moran. Previous experience with the Best Western hotels in the UK, US and Europe has been good, which had an influence in choosing a Best Western hotel. The hotel was nothing like we had hoped or expected. Its location is in what seems to be a commercial area, which we did not feel safe walking about outside after dark. The hotel claims to be 4*, so to be a 4* hotel we would have expected it to have its own bar, and restaurant for evening meals. It has neither, when we checked in they gave us 10% off vouchers for use in the café across the road, hardly the same as its own restaurant. It does not have any gym facilities. I would expect a bar and evening restaurant as a requirement to be a 3*hotel, let alone a 4*. While working away I have stayed in many hotels ranging from travel lodges to 5* hotels. In my experience this is nowhere near a 4* hotel, given the lack of bar, evening restaurant and gym/leisure facilities I think 2* is more fitting. We even contacted Jet2 who we booked through to try and change hotels. The walk to the tourist areas was about 15 minutes, so be prepared for that. There were regular trams, so that may be an option to help with the hotels location. The trams are regular; we could hear them from our room, even with all the windows closed. The room was clean apart from a few small stains on the carpet, and well serviced by a very polite and friendly cleaner. Reception staff and breakfast bar staff were variable in their attitude. On the positive point, the gentleman on the main desk in the morning on 18/9/17 was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area girl appeared miserable, and just looked straight through me when I was asking for assistance. The breakfast was self service, if you wanted a warm breakfast (note I did not say hot) then you have the option of bacon, eggs and sausage. Beyond that cold meat, cheese, breads and fruit. As I have already mentioned the rooms were comfortable. But they were small and basic. No extractor in the bathroom, which steamed up very quickly. No mirror on the dressing table which did not help getting ready to go out as the bathroom mirror was steamed up and the only other mirror was buy the door so was of limited use. I did raise my concerns with the person on the reception desk within a hour of checking in, but he did not seem concerned in the slightest. So overall very disappointing and we will definitely not be using this hotel in the future and would strongly recommend you look at all other options before choosing this hotel.

"Great Place. "
SAS2610, 15 Septembre 2017

Lovely hotel. Rooms were spotless. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Wi-fi good. The only problem I have with this hotel is the TV as they only have English news channels and nothing else. As reading in the visitors book they have many visitors from England, USA and Australia. And a couple had wrote the same comment of the TV.

"Loved Prague"
NeelieScotland, 12 Septembre 2017

Hotel Moran is situated about a (lovely!) 20 minute walk to the Old Town Square. The view along the Vltava river walk is just stunning - especially when we were lucky enough to have a glorious sunny stay. The pink Smile hop on hop off city tour bus was excellent - especially if you are lucky enough to get the tall, blonde young man as your guide; he was so informative and friendly with a great personality! The bars and boat bars along the riverside close to the hotel are great! Couple of pound for a beer and wine and a beautiful view - and some have live music. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and I just loved the breakfast! Best baked scrambled egg ever - and the coffee too - and the homemade cake aswell!

"Good Hotel"
274paulr731, 11 Septembre 2017

Nice friendly hotel very clean and good size rooms.Good buffet breakfast sets you up for the day. It`s a good 10 minute walk to the Charles bridge with some brilliant sights on the way. The hotel is on a main road for ambulances going to the hospital so a room away form the front is recommended, because of the sirens.

"superb break"
dgswift, 06 Septembre 2017

from the moment we checked in we were always made to feel welcome , from the reception staff , breakfast staff and the cleaning ladies , always a cheery good morning or hello , the room was spacious clean and comfortable , a good breakfast selection and for us great location even though a 15/20 minute stroll into the centre gave us the chance to explore and enjoy a stroll along the river . prague is a beautiful city and would like to thank the hotel for being part of a wonderful city break experience for my wife and myself .

"Great hotel, perfect location, amazing breakfast!"
cindystover, 06 Septembre 2017

This was our base for touring around Prague, and it was the perfect location (close to the Metro stop and tram line that goes along the river). The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious for Europe, and very clean. The real gem though is the breakfast...so much variety and quality food, and it was a great opportunity to be well fed before heading out to see the city (and much pricier food options!) They were very accommodating when we arrived in letting us store our bags and freshen up in the main level bathroom so we could enjoy our full day before check-in time. They also don't have safes in the rooms, but do have safety deposit boxes behind the front desk with a key that only you keep during your stay.

"Great Hotel Ideally Situated "
starbar101, 02 Septembre 2017

This hotel is ideally situated for walking to all the landmarks, it's 2 blocks from the river and a lovely stroll down into town. There are tram stops just down from the hotel. Decent sized room even with a cot in it, with huge windows, ours overlooked the tramline but we never noticed any noise, the room was clean and cleaned everyday, mini fridge/hairdryer and TV., the air con was a bit hit or miss but not a problem. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were helpful when the children wanted a hot chocolate they offered to make it for them, lots of choice and plenty of seating. Shame there's no bar or food option as it would have been nice to sit and have a drink after a busy day, there is a small mini market selling essential bits.

"Really nice hotel"
Chris M, 30 Août 2017

Had a really nice visit to Prague for my birthday. Me my wife and 1 year old daughter. The hotel was fantastic room was cleaned every day, even with a young child we tried to keep the room tidy but when we returned each day the room was spotless. We arrived late so bought a few things from the hotel shop. Very expensive so be warned. There are 2 little shops just around the corner which are open till 11pm. So go there. Breakfast was brilliant plenty to pick from, only bad thing regarding this is the hotel only had 1 child seat and as there were other families with young children it was a shame as this was the only let down about this hotel. It's within walking distance to everything didn't use any public transport as walking with a pram was a nice daily trip in the warm weather. Would I book this hotel again definitely, already looking, but please invest In more child seat for the restaurant.

"Fantastic location"
Lah1992, 27 Août 2017

This hotel is perfect for a quick city break in Prague. You are within walking distance of Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town and Wenceslas Square, yet not right in the huddle and bustle of the city life - peaceful in the evening. Across the main road, there are bars along the river which make for a pleasant evening stroll with a Czech Pilsner in hand. The hotel has all necessary amenities, is very clean and the rooms are serviced daily. Staff are friendly, and a very good breakfast is served on a morning until 11am. Close to the airport for transfers, and right outside a Metro station and regular tram stop. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Moran.

"Friendly and helpfull people"
644graemeg, 23 Août 2017

clean hotel, the breakfast could have been better but the rooms were clean. Location was a fair way from old square and requires a lot of walking. With it being a distance from attractions we found the restaurants cheaper than in the centre.

"Hard to believe it could happen!"
Andrew S, 17 Août 2017

I am very careful with writing negative comments on the hotels but in my case situation really got extremely disappointed. I made reservation of the Best Western City Moran in Prague more than 2 weeks prior to my stay. 12 hours before the check in I received the information from my agency that the hotel had cancelled my reservation because of overbooking?!!! Is it the civilized ground?! I just could not believe it could happen in the EU country. My message to all - think twice before you make reservation there and make sure you got it before you check in.

"Lovely"
CHO53, 08 Août 2017

City hotel Moran, lovely hotel with spacious rooms, super comfy beds, and lovely, friendly helpful staff. A good walk into old town center but with nice weather it is an enjoyable walk along the river. Trams close by and taxis very reasonable though always check the price with driver first. Highly recommend City hotel Moran.

"Weekend City break"
SummerladyYorkshire, 08 Août 2017

We arrived and were allocated a room on the 1st floor which was very nice and spacious, comfy bed, good shower apart from the lift was right outside our door. I read a lot of reviews on trip adviser and based my booking on what I read but now realise this hotel was not in a good position in regards Charles Bridge and walking back on an evening late the route was too quiet and a bit scary we were too far out of the centre. As the temperature was very hot reaching 33c. We did not want to use the trams which were very busy and go underground to get tickets so we walked, we found walking back through the streets a bit scary but on our first day we were ripped off by a taxi driver because we had been up since 3am on the day of arrival after our flight we did not realise. The breakfast was good our only fault was the fresh orange and apple juice were not chilled they had been out too long. I would not choose this hotel again due to the location we seemed to be in a residential area not tourist area, but we enjoyed our stay apart from our guests large spiders x2 which were on the ceiling and then we could not get to sleep as they were very active and the next day they had disappeared. the day we checked out we saw the same type spider in reception.

"Went to Prague for a short break with my husband."
135donaldw, 01 Août 2017

Stayed at this hotel last month for 4 nights. Arrived in the evening the guy on reception wasn't very welcoming and informative. Breakfast was very average and staff seemed a bit miserable. There was no lounge area to sit and have a drink etc.

"Would definitely stay here again."
CALQ, 01 Août 2017

Excellent hotel in brilliant location. Just a few mins walk to Ginger and Fred (The Dancing House) and St Cyril and St Methodius Church (where the Anthropoid Parachutists died). Trams and metro stops just round the corner. Can walk into centre of town in about 15 mins. Hotel very comfortable with a good range breakfast. Staff very helpful. If ever back in Prague will be the place I come to!

"Good hotel but very cold service"
mayankshree, 29 Juillet 2017

We stayed here in July. The room was good. The cleanliness was also good. Location is not at the city center, but is very close to the river and tram / bus stand with 2 stops to City Center. With its location near to city center I assume lot of tourists must be staying there. With that I also assumed that all tourist will have some queries about the city / to dos. But the staff was so uninterested in any sort of conversation that they would either say "don't know" or they would just say yes / no without even looking at you. There is no lunch or Dinner at the hotel. Only BF is served. Overall Nice rooms, OK location & cold service.

"Picked a great hotel!"
Delz S, 25 Juillet 2017

After reading a few mixed reviews i had started to doubt myself with the booking; but decided to push forward. You know what, i am 150% glad i went ahead. The room was ensuite, clean and spacious. My bed had two single duvet instead of a large duvet for a double bed. I didnt complain because i was happy not tonfight for the covers with the other half. The breakfast was a good spread mainly continental that consist of yoghurts, cereal, cold cuts, fresh bread and fruits. They had cook breakfast but limited (mini sausages, bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes). If you are looking for full English breakfast this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is literally 4 mins away from the main road. The main road will take you straight to Charles Bridge (12-15mins walk) and old town centre/square (same road about 15-20mins walk). Really there is no need to take the tram or taxi. But if you do have difficulties in mobolity it is appx 3 tram stops. Hotel has a small pantry like shop for drinks and snacks. They do not do lunch or dinner but do take advance of the discounted voucher for the French bistro opposite. Lunch and dinner was fantastic. Thank you for making my stay wonderful.

"Good Place to stay in Prague"
rajivkhattar, 18 Juillet 2017

A small nice place to stay, location is excellent, walking distance to the centre of the town, near to river and some good places to eat. Rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff members are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good for a European place of a similar nature, it was nice feeling during the stay there.

"Clean - very clean"
Kizzia3, 17 Juillet 2017

Nice little hotel off new town, 20 mins walk from the centre of Prague and not far from the river. This hotel is very clean and comfortable and does what it says on the tin. All the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good, plentiful and standard for European hotels. The rooms were comfortable and has a kettle for tea and coffee. Small selection of toiletries and a mini fridge. Great for keeping the beer cold. Great place to stay in Prague for a sight seeing trip

"Will be bavk"
happyniknowit, 13 Juillet 2017

Three nights as solo, disabled traveler were great. The hotel is clean, quiet and pleasant. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. Maid services were excellent and I enjoyed delicious and varied breakfasts. Position well appointed for access to major attractions.

"Great hotel, wonderful stay"
Irene M, 10 Juillet 2017

Quiet location but accessible for rest of city via tram, underground and walking. Decent sized room. Good bathroom and toiletries replenished daily. Towels changed daily. Very clean. Breakfast good, plenty of choices. The best aspect is the staff. They are so helpful in helping you find your way around the city. Not thing is too much bother. They'll even recommend restaurants. Would definitely recommend

"good location"
hannamuz, 22 Juin 2017

i liked the location of the hotel. Huge minus for not having aprking area! food was decent on breakfast, hotel service was very helpful, bed was good, view too. Close to Veltava river, Dancing house (where is great restaurant!).

"Great staff, good location, no frills"
Alan I, 16 Juin 2017

The City Moran provided good, clean accomodation, with wi-fi, in room tea and coffee maker and an excellent buffet breakfast. It felt a little more basic than other Best Westerns we have stayed in - no retaurant or bar although it did have a macro bar or pantry where guests could purchase bottles of wine and other drinks. Being able to leave luggage in safe room on day of departure was helpful.

"Good hotel with polite and helpful staff."
James D, 16 Juin 2017

We were very pleased with this hotel on the whole. Staff were very polite a helpful but the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent; they seemed to have a blind spot where dirty glasses were concerned; everything else was washed and replaced. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and it's a great location for the excellent metro system and tram. I'd definitely use this hotel again.

"5 DAY VISIT TO PRAGUE"
471keith, 15 Juin 2017

My wife and I visited Prague from 7 to 11 May 2017. We booked through a local travel agent and flew with Jet2 from Newcastle Airport. We used the long term car park at Newcastle Airport - very straightforward - but make sure that you make a note of both the car park letter and the bus stop number. Regular shuttle bus service to and from the airport. The airport lounges are not as comfortable as they used to be. Instead of relatively quiet seating areas there now seems to be an abundance of "trestle style tables". We had booked extra leg room seats and a meal for the flight. Pre- booking the seats was not really necessary - the seats were not very comfortable and narrow. The booking in staff and cabin staff were very friendly and helpful on both journeys. Flight time was 1 hour 50 minutes. Transfer from Prague Airport to the hotel was by pre booked cab and took about 40 minutes. There was no representative of Jet2 at Prague Airport - so we were left to "sort ourselves out) no real problems - the airport information staff were again very helpful. The hotel was the Best Western City Moran. A good location ( 10 minutes walk from the river bank), very clean and very comfortable beds. There was also the added bonus of tea/coffee facilities in the room. The air conditioning was efficient. The hotel staff were very helpful and took time to explain how to get around Prague and what to see. We did use the tram service - very cheap and plenty of them. We were on a B&B basis. Breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice. The breakfast area was very clean. Prague is a beautiful city with much to see. There are so many points of interest that a good guide book is very useful!! We planned our route around the city but did not have enough time to see all we wanted - another visit is on the cards! The prices for food and drink were very reasonable with beer from £1.50 and a substantial meal for two for about £10.00 to £15.00 per person. There are lots of eateries serving good quality meals and many have lovely views. The Czech people we met were friendly and eager to help. The were no problems with the language. We were blessed with good weather! All in all Prague is a very lovely city to visit but be prepared to want to go back. My wife and I plan to pay another visit and hopefully to the same hotel.

"hotel"
Yadiki, 11 Juin 2017

Centrally placed hotel, good service, breakfast ok but for vegetarians, room was in the attic, trued to change it, but not successful. Should have better choice of rooms. Reception staff although helpful, not many of them could speak English well.

"Nice quite location."
grahamelizabeth, 06 Juin 2017

Room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic plenty variety hot and cold.Great place to stay ideal for visiting Castle,Charles Bridge and old town square. What a wonderful City, had a great holiday.

"Great city break location"
Jonathan S, 26 Mai 2017

Hotel is ideally located for a city break. Access to the trams & metro within metres of the hotel although as the spring weather was good we chose to walk everywhere. The old town is a 15 minute walk & the castle is 20 minutes. Room was comfortable although I reckon it would be hot in the summer. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again if a return trip comes our way

"Great location "
madhurima1706, 24 Mai 2017

Great location.right in the heart of the attractions.a stones throw away from Charles Bridge. Decent room size unlike Europe's other poky rooms irrespective of star or status ! Breakfast sucks especially for a non European. ..the same menu daily !!I just don't get that about hotels in Europe ..why is the menu the same daily ? Switzerland. .Austria ..Prague ...same grouse ! No wonder they came to India looking for spices! ! And yes ..here the breakfast area is tiny .like really small .. The waitress don't speak English too well either . But net net it's a good bet .

"Perfect tourist hotel"
R J S, 17 Mai 2017

Nice rooms (ours had a small balcony) with modern bath. Exceptional clean. Pleasant, dedicated staff. Wonderful breakfast with hot and cold items that changed daily. This hotel wanted you to be happy. Perfect location for metro and trams. All stops within two blocks. Close to River. Very reasonable pricing. Hotel offers cab service with predetermined pricing which I thought was nice.

"Great Hotel"
Sue W, 16 Mai 2017

Came here Friday to Monday with my daughter. He location is about a 2 minute walk to the front and walking distance to most places in Prague.Rooms were comfy and clean, staff were exceptionally from check in to check out.Breakfast was amazing didn't expect cooked breakfast as well as continental.Would definitely come here again when we visit Prague.although there is no bar here there are a few bars down down the road and one across the street.

"Nice hotel typical best western"
fuzzyzoeller, 28 Avril 2017

I stayed here last week for a long weekend 9 others. The check in was smooth, staff were helpful. The room was a twin, clean and basic, there was a wall hairdryer in the bathroom. Friends stayed in a 3 room and theirs was a lot bigger on the top floor. This hotel is situated in the new town and is a 10 minute walk to the old town. If i was to stay again i would probably stay in the old town, but the price was perfect and it isnt to far out.

"stag do !!!"

Sue J, 20 Avril 2017

Lovely hotel, within walking distance of most of the tourist places, but also has a metro and tram stop close by too, though we didn't use them. Reception very friendly and helpful too. Our room had everything we needed, only issue was we had twin beds, but not really an issue. Breakfast was very good, well stocked continental.

"GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND IN GOOD CONDITION"

Not situated next door to the main highlights of mPrague although still in a charming and residential area easy reach of Karls bridge and Old Town. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, large batrhrooms and quiet at night. Sitting chair, writing desk and a TV. Breakfast is ok and includes bacon and eegs as well as cerealsm breads, ham and cheese and a good coffee. Reception staff very friendly and parking is across the street in the basement P cellar at 500 CK per 24 hour

"Great Hotel"
jgray8791, 25 Mars 2017

The BW City Hotel Moran is an excellent place to stay when in Prague. Easy walking distance to many places. Our room was nice and clean. The lobby area has gifts and a small convenient store with snacks, water, and wine. Breakfast is included each morning with a variety of wonderful choices.

"Excellent city hotel!"
eric1042, 21 Mars 2017

The B.W. City Moran is an excellent hotel in a great location. A 3/4 minute walk takes you to the river and 15 minutes takes you to the centre of the city. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is spotlessly clean, towels were changed every day and the breakfast had everything you could ask for. It was cold in Prague when we were there but the room was always very warm. There is no bar but they have a small minimarket where you can buy beer, wine and spirits if you forget to bring any in with you which would be the sensible thing to do if you enjoy a drink in your room. I really can't think of anything to complain about. Excellent.

"Leisure at the Best Western City Moran"
rogalane, 17 Mars 2017

This hotel is very cosy and efficient. The room we had was very clean and sheets and towels were changed every day during our stay. The breakfast was very good with a large selection which included an English style bacon egg and sausage platter all on a help yourself basis. The staff are very friendly and helpful and provided us with day tickets for the transport system and tickets for a trip on the Jazzboat on our last night. We would recommend this hotel without question to any would be visitors to Prague as it is only two minutes from the tram stops which take you to the old town in five minutes.

"BEFORE YOU BOOK....LOOK AROUND AT PRICES...GOT A BARGAIN HERE."
Tango953, 23 Novembre 2016

We stayed at the Best Western Moran for 4 nights, not too far from the river, and not too far from Charles Bridge a good 15 mins walk, hotel was very clean and warm, breakfast every morning was a good selection of hot and cold food, plenty of choice of teas, coffee's and juices, staff was very friendly and helpful, booking to go again in the new year and will stay here again now we know our way about, roll on spring.

"weekend break"
angjohnson, 23 Novembre 2016

Stayed for 2 nights, 1 room 3 adults plenty of space for this amount of time, very clean, bathroom as new, good breakfast and pleasant staff, overall a really good place to stay for a short break, easy to walk along river to shops and town squares

"Good but not 4 star"
Joe H, 21 Novembre 2016

Let down by door to adjoining room allowing a lot of noise through and lacking privacy. Shower was in centre of the bath which was awkward. On the plus side rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the location was also convenient for the old town. Nevertheless neither the decor nor the food or the service warranted this being a 4 star hotel

"Quiet location, close to tram stops and easy walking to sites"
missourboy, 20 Novembre 2016

Polite and efficient check-in and very pleasant, quiet room. Easy stroll to tram stops and gentle walk to Charles Bridge, the Old Square and Botanic Gardens. Nice to be away from the busier, more central areas. Staff courteous and helpful. Discount voucher given for Cafe Amandine, just over the road, which was a good place to ear when your feet are tired at the end of a long day.

"very pleasant hotel"
bell-ringer8, 16 Novembre 2016

We used bus and underground to get withing 100m of the hotel. A 90minute ticket covered the journey. ticket from inside the terminal validate on bus. The hotel is close to river and easy walking into the city. Trams are convenient and cheap to use. Buy a daily ticket for about £3 at reception and validate it for 24 hours on your first ride. It even works on the funicular railway. The hotel has a buffet breakfast with streaky bacon and scrambled egg as well as a full cold buffet and cereal and fruit.

Lovely hotel, nice room clean and comfortable. Let down by the fact it did not have a restaurant or Bar which would have been the icing on the cake..After long hours walking Prague a refreshment prior to going to bed would have been nice..One BIG thankyou to Stephen for organising a free bottle of Champagne and a bowl of fruit for my wifes 70th Birthday which was the purpose of the trip,,Thanks

"Clean hotel but very noisy, hot no restaurant or bar"
shelly p, 06 Novembre 2016

Hotel clean no bar, noise from trams and ambulances constant through the night, room hot even with fan on. Breakfast okay but nothing special . Quite a walk to any of the top attractions. Unfortunately wouldn't choose this hotel again this is the only time I have had to write this sort of review.

"Good hotel - Awesome breakfast"
Saša P, 04 Novembre 2016

The hotel is just a km out of the city. A great walk around the water. Great breakfast that runs until 11. The staff are very nice and the hotel is clean. I cant give it a 5 star when compared to the top hotels but for its price and class its worth it to stay here. Some nice restaurants are just around the corner as well as a nice coffee shop.

"Visit to Prague"
KAREN S, 31 Octobre 2016

The hotel Moran was clean and the staff very friendly. Room was big enough and the beds very comfy. My only criticism is the beds were two singles pushed together with single quilts. It would have been nice to have them made as a double as is often the case in hotels. However, we did not ask the hotel to rectify this at all and they may have. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the staff helpful. The restaurant across the road was also fantastic. Can't recommend enough.

"Fantastic hotel"
happytraveller2124, 29 Octobre 2016

Great hotel.Clean, well run.Fantastic breakfast wide choice.Could not fault.Would definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend. Easy access to the old town but in quiet location. What more do you need ?

The place is the following: -Room: good -Service: Need a lot of improvement -Hygiene: Need a lot of improvement -Food: Ok -Overall: Good ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT pls improve the service, hygiene, room service, etc ADVICE TO PEOPLE Try not to take the room on the top floor, they have less place as compared to rooms on other floors.

"Excellent hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Prague."
Mike C, 25 Octobre 2016

I have stayed in many Best Western hotels across Europe and they all deliver on comfort and a good breakfast. When I came across the Best Western City Moran I knew this was going to be my base for 4 nights. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the metro stop 'Karlovo nám?stí' on Line-B, which is 2 stops away from the center of Prague. Transfer to Airport using metro and bus 119 is about 45 minutes and cost 32kr (about £1) for a 90 minute ticket. On arrival, was greeted by a friendly receptionist and assigned room 407. I requested a room on the top floors so 4th floor is perfect. The 'Triple Standard' room size was perfect for 3 people, two single beds pushed-together and a roller bed. Bathroom was clean and we got daily towel changes. *We booked via Amoma and I called through to the agent to ask about the difference for a Triple Standard Room, Triple Room and 3 People Occupancy Room and was told they are all the same. Just book the cheapest available option with breakfast! Breakfast was excellent! Fried bacon, scrambled eggs, hot sausages. Breads, yogurts, cheese, fruit. Fruit juices, tea, coffee machine and filter coffee. It gets very busy in the dining room so get there early. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Dancing house and its a nice stroll to Kampa island. Its a 20 minute walk to the middle of town, or buy a 30 minute ticket for a quick hop for 24kr. Overall very pleased I picked this hotel. It's away from the rowdy crowds of Wenceslas Square.

"no bar or lounge"
Mary P, 21 Octobre 2016

Good location walking distance to river .staff in hotel very helpful ,hotel nice and clean .did not use the trams as had to go to metro and buy timed tickets .went on a river trip 2 a half hours it takes you to river for 2hour trip but no comentry to tell you what you are looking at or passing lunch on boat was nice but what they don't tell you is you have to make your own way back from were you was dropped off for boat trip ,you will need to taxi it back or if your able walk following the river it took us 1 hour x

"Such a relaxing and comfortable stay"
Sonja R, 21 Octobre 2016

Small and tidy hotell with friendly staff, excelent location close to public transports. Room was big and lightful with bath tube and comfortable beds ( I slept 10 hours in a row, amazing!). Room was cleaned every day and the cleaning lady even cleaned my daughters hairbrush one day. Ok, may sound disgusting but for us it was ok. The breakfast was great with lots of different choices. Good coffee! Friendly and helpful staff. We staied on third floor but the traffic didn't bother us, even if there were ambulances and trams coming and going all the time (a hospital nearby). Highly recommendable hotel!

"Helpful staff + Excellent Breakfast"
Mike F, 16 Octobre 2016

My wife and i spent 3 nights in this hotel which is conveniently situated near the metro, the river and stops for several trams. The room was not fault free as a previous occupant had used one of the plant pots on the balcony as a surreptitious ashtray but once advised the hotel staff were quick to clear it up. The breakfasts were really good offering a wide selection from the buffet style offerings. Despite overlooking a reasonably busy road the room was quiet. One tip for those over 70 visiting Prague, if you have two passport sized photos with you it is possible to obtain a free travel pass on public transport although the normal tickets are not expensive.

"Super hotel stay"
Jamesholoholo, 06 Octobre 2016

Best Western hotels are always good and Hotel Moran is excellent. A couple of desk staff never seemed to smile, but all employees were delightful. Breakfasts were outstanding, rooms very clean, beds good. Quiet, quaint. Restaurants and cafes and markets close by. Upkeep noted to be very good. I stayed a week. The only down side to me was no guest laundry room; laundry service available seemed high, but quick turn around. I recommend Hotel Moran as a super hotel stay in Prague.

"brilliant hotel. close to the city and river"
geegee4, 01 Octobre 2016

The hotel was fresh and comfortable throughout the areas we visited. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice and with streaky bacon and scrambled eggs. yummy. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room on the 4th floor was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Safety deposit boxes are available at reception which is manned 24hours. My only slight problem was that the quilts on the twin beds although thick enough were a little small and didn't stay in place during the night. The hotel is on a tram route so if you like the windows open and are a light sleeper you will hear them. I think this would apply to any hotel except in the traffic free areas of the old city. All central venues are within walking distance but the trams are excellent value and easy to use with pre paid tickets from reception £3 each all day for all public transport including the funicular, buses and trams or 30min or 90min tickets. punch them on the first tram and then keep them safe in your wallet to show to ticket officials if needed. Get a transport map and plan a route to see the outer reaches of the city. Cheaper than the hop on/off buses which are up to £30 dont miss the cheap bars and cafes and go to at least one classical concert. They are great value too and help support for the beautiful churches and buildings

"Great weekend"
oharaterryoh, 27 Septembre 2016

Stayed here on the 22nd to the 25th September 2016 there where four of us and overall had no complaints about the hotel was spotlessly clean desk staff maids and waitresses and waiters where all very friendly and polite would definitely recommend this hotel breakfast was good hot and cold food and plenty of it was in a perfect location 5 to 10 mins from a lot of great pubs and restaurants overall we had a fantastic stay in Prague and would definitely stay here again thanks Prague for a memorable break

"Perfect Spot"
spongebob1990, 26 Septembre 2016

Stayed 3 nights and we were very impressed. Our room was clean and comfortable. An added bonus was the mini fridge which was great for storing water and goodies. The breakfast times are excellent from 6am to 11am and there is something to suit everyone. The pastries and coffee were delicious. The hotel is in a quiet location but within walking distance to the main attactions. My husband and I are both 50 years old and we didn't use transport at any time. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel...perfect spot!

"Best Western City Hotel Moran"
katlynne62, 25 Septembre 2016

We stayed at this hotel in December 2015. The hotel room was an adequate size and very clean. The breakfasts were great. The staff were very helpful. There is a metro station nearby and in a fairly quiet area. I would stay here again if I were to return to Prague.

"Pleasant Stay"
Sally G, 16 Septembre 2016

Hotel Moran was smart and clean. Bed comfortable, though more toiletries in the bathroom would have been appreciated (only bar soap and hair-cum-body liquid provided). Breakfast excellent with good choices of fruit, cereal, cold fare and cooked food;delightful breakfast staff. I would have rated it higher had the air conditioning been working which made sleeping very difficult/impossible on hot nights. When we complained we were given cooler-fans which did help a bit. The hotel was about 30mins walk from Charles Bridge.

"Nice and Peaceful"
Gary C, 14 Septembre 2016

Lovely hotel, close enough to the centre to be able to walk in but far enough to be quiet at night. Rooms clean and comfortable, public areas also very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, check in and check out, quick and easy. Plenty of choice at breakfast with ample seating in the restaurant. Ladies at breakfast were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. We had an excellent weeks stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

"Stay away!!!!"
Robert F, 09 Septembre 2016

Terrible. No Air Conditioning and this crappy hotel is doibg nothing about it. The management is terrible and the accommodations are terrible DON'T STAY HERE! Crappy furniture. Crappy carpet. Put us in a crappy room. Sweltering heat. Crappy shower. The shower head landed on my head and feet several times. Terrible stay. One star is generous. Was told that the air conditioning has not been working for a week. The hotel did not try to contact us to inform us of the problem. If they would have, we could have cancelled and booked somewhere else. I was told the manager is in Vienna. Terrible!!!

"Most Enjoyable."
Cecilia W, 08 Septembre 2016

Arrived early Friday to celebrate hubbies 70th birthday in Prague. After awarm welcome and very reasonable private transfer arrived at Best Western and our room was ready - great when only on three day stay. Lovely bottle of fizz delivered. Lovely thought. Room was large and had everything needed for our stay and very clean with comfortable beds. The exception was no air con which is why I gave four stars. We did get two fans supplied for the room which helped a bit. Breakfast was just fine catering for all tastes and nationalities. Jarda in reception looked after us very well and assisted with the local trams which were brilliant and saved on the walking, four stops on the number 3 tram to Wenceslas Square.Hotel was close to two tram stations and metro. Location great for Charles Bridge and other landmarks. Close to the river and nice and quiet with lots of good eating places close by. Hotel even offer discount for restaurant across the road where the food was very good, shame about the service but put it down to getting lost in translation.Loved Everything about our three days in Prague and the Best Western did not disappoint.

"Hot time in the city"
Celestialpilgrim, 08 Septembre 2016

This hotel was very good. During our visit, the air conditioning wasn't working but the front desk provided a fan and that made the temperature a bit more bearable. The front desk staff were very accommodating. They were able to give us an early check-in (especially appreciated after an overnight flight) and gave up their fan when the A/C wasn't working. Breakfast buffet was good - lots of variety.

"Just Great"
668s2016, 01 Septembre 2016

nothing to complain about! breakfast till 11! clean, nice staff, great location, fast wifi, feel good atmosphere, great price! metro and tram are near, but not so near, that it would be noisy! nevertheless, most sight seeinng stuff is in walking distance anyway!

"Wonderful hotel"
michellew1796, 26 Août 2016

My daughter and I spent 3 wonderful days in Prague and this hotel was perfect !! We didn't arrive until quite late on Friday evening and the receptionist didn't waste any time checking us in so that we could get to our room, which was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, we had a choice of 2 piilows and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was very good, it was plentiful and there was lots of choice - cereals, sausage, bacon, scrambled & boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread rolls, cheeses and ham and homemade cake, along with hot drinks and fruit juice. There were 2 lovely ladies that made sure everything was replenished very quickly and were very helpful. The one small downside was that the hotel was quite a walk to the Old Town ( although there was a Metro stn just outside) however we chose to walk as the weather was great and the walk along the river was lovely. I would definately recommend this little gem of a hotel excellent value for money !

"Noisy street with trams"
AlexKiriatOno, 10 Août 2016

Noisy street with trams, but air-condition was more noisy. Staff was OK, but the hotel was so tired … The food was average. The prime location with excellent transport links. There are good restaurants around.

"The Perfect Base For Your Few Days in Prague"
BeaCIreland, 04 Août 2016

I was in Prague for a three night break, and I found this hotel ideal for my needs as a lone leisure-traveller. Once you get your bearings, the Old Town is simply around the corner and a ten minute straight walk. There is a metro stop just at the end of the street, and though I found the tram service of the city confusing, that also stops at the top of the street. I found all of the staff whom I encountered most polite and helpful. Breakfast was okay, but not incredible. The building is most attractive from the outside, and all the rooms inside have that characteristic of the high ceiling and large windows. This allowed for a bright and airy room. The beds were comfortable, and the television was very good. The wifi throughout worked perfectly for my telephone, though I did not demand any greater. The bathrooms were lovely, a fine size, but were I to criticise anything, it would be the hairdryer - it was appalling! More than anything, however, is the overall cleanliness of the hotel: in its entirity, it is immaculate. I really did not encounter any issue whatsoever. I had a restful, centrally-based few days with no noise (to the extent that I slept in), and a pleasant view across at some churches. So I found it perfect!

"????"
Lisa M, 04 Août 2016

Very nice hotel but very old fashioned, good if your like me and came to Prague for sightseeing where you don't spend a lot of time in the hotel itself?? The breakfast is good and there is always someone to ask for help etc at the reception. Overall it is a good hotel and I would recommend it to sightseeing visitors especially??

"Good value for money"
SunRiser99, 27 Juillet 2016

Clean and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the stay. Would recommend this hotel for all . Very quite place. Only 10 mins walk to centre if you prefer to walk. Very close to Tram Station. Thanks to the friendly staff.

"Pleasant stay"
pamelasJ1533VI, 19 Juillet 2016

Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very nice, with sofa, TV, fridge, tea making facilities and extremely comfortable beds. Good variety of food at breakfast in a lovely setting. All in all, a very pleasant stay in Prague.

"Our trip to Prague"
Sarah G, 19 Juillet 2016

This hotel was everything that we could have hoped for on our stay in Prague last week. Located in New Town, it is out of the way of the real hustle and bustle but close enough to get to everywhere easily. The hotel itself has everything that you could need. Large rooms, air con, a comfortable bed and great breakfast. It even provided a small selection of English breakfast which was a nice surprise! The staff on reception are friendly and helpful. When it rained they offered an umbrella. There is a mini market in the hotel but just be wary of the prices as they are much higher than the 2 shops either side of the hotel! There's nothing more to say really, a great hotel in a beautiful city!

"first time in prague"
lizv143, 19 Juillet 2016

The hotel was excellent and did an extensive breakfast. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the old town, away from the manic scene. Perfect for older couples lik us. Loved it.

"Good value and very good quality "
karen057, 16 Juillet 2016

I would recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient for public transport links to the centre and the airport. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Very comfy beds, good shower, tea & coffee making facilities. Very quiet at night and the breakfast was good too. Couldn't fault it really for the price!

"Very Nice hotel"
A2517GQedwardm, 13 Juillet 2016

About 20min walk to centre. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious clean rooms. Would recommend a stay here. Restaurant across the road is a great place to eat and hotel gives you a 10pc discount. Only negative is it doesn't have a bar.

"Jus a good hotel"
Rimgaudas B, 12 Juillet 2016

Hotel location is goos. Peaceful neighberhood, 20 min walk to Old Town. Everything is clean. Very big advantage is the bath in the room. Breakfast is averige, nothing special, but tasty enaugh. To say the truth, this hotel is good, but nothing special to wright and remember about.

"Decent experience "
Snehamatt, 11 Juillet 2016

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights. Well appointed but small rooms. The location is quite nice, near a tram and metro station, very near the old town and touristy places but away from the noise of the city. We had quite nights sleep (asked for room facing the courtyard) and over all had a pleasant experience. We didn't like the breakfast coz we don't eat pork and we felt the eggs were very bland and old. The bread and other baked delicasans also seemed old. But the hotel and our stay was quite nice. So I would recommend the hotel without the breakfast.

"Nice hotel, quiet location"
Tim C, 06 Juillet 2016

Decent sized rooms with comfy beds, reasonable (albeit a little slow) wifi and reasonably good breakfast spread. Staff excellent, and a very convenient location - a short stroll to the river, a wide selection of bars and restaurants not far away, and both trams and metro close by, making the whole city (and airport) easy to access.

"A short break in Prague"
Richard M, 29 Juin 2016

My wife and I spent 5 nights in the Moran Hotel in Prague on a B&B basis. The hotel is very comfortable, with friendly and efficient staff and very good breakfasts. Its a 20 to 30 minute walk from Charles Bridge, or it is for us at 64 and 63 years. But there is a metro station within a couple of hundred yards which is a fast and efficient way of getting around,

"Perfect location for a city break"
borntoshop46, 28 Juin 2016

This was a very good hotel to stay in for our 4 day city break. Hotel staff excellent and ready to help you with tourist attractions and destinations. Breakfast good. Metro literally down the road, trams and buses on your doorstep. Everything is within walking distance apart from the castle which would recommend getting the tram to. Very cheap for drink and meals. Prague is a beautiful city and the people are so friendly. Even some of the restaurants did gluten free!!!

"Wonderful break!"
Jan G, 28 Juin 2016

Second visit to this hotel. Lovely room, very welcome air-con as very hot! Location very good, easy to walk everywhere and lovely to stroll along the riverbank. Breakfast good and all staff very helpful. Prague is a beautiful city and so easy to get about on foot. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we returned.

"A four day weekend break"
Jeanette P, 27 Juin 2016

Always stay at a Best Western hotel. Great city to visit with lots of interesting places to go to., especially the Cathedral and Castle. The local Trams were a good way to get around very good service. Hotel was great but if there was a slight disappointment there was no lounge to sit in after a day's sightseeing you had to go back to your room. The staff were always helpful and polite and were only too pleased to help you book a tour if needed. Great choice at breakfast.

"Decent Stay"
Lauren W, 22 Juin 2016

Hotel was easy to find from the metro station that we caught from Zlicin bus station after getting the airport bus. Hotel is in a nice neighborhood, felt very safe at all times. Quiet area with not a lot going on nearby but a nice place to be based. Staff were friendly enough, hotel was typical of Best Western standards. The building was very nice and we had a fairly nice view of the trams outside and just a glimpse of the river. The windows in the room were huge and could be opened to admire the outside surroundings. We were facing directly out onto the trams but I didn't have any issue with the noise outside at all. Room was very spacious, clean, had basic facilities, wi-fi was a little slow (minor issue) Beds were comfortable and had huge pillows. Room got very warm but the air conditioning did work. Bathroom was nice and everything worked accordingly. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke on the floor of our room but again this was a minor issue. Hotel is a good location for walking to any of the major landmarks. We walked everywhere from the hotel, we only used the public transport to get to and from the airport but there are metro and tram stops nearby. It is easy enough to walk to the castle area, the wenscelsas square, Petrin, charles bridge and Vyserad area from the hotel. The breakfast wasn't great but I am fussy when it comes to breakfast. I had read reviews of people saying there was a full english breakfast but I didn't see this anywhere? There was some hot food which was lukewarm really and was the same everyday which consisted of sausages, scrambled eggs and bacon so I am not sure what the reviews of a full English were talking about. There was a nice selection of bread and things such as nutella, jam, butter, juice. There was some warm pancakes on one day which were nice but ran out quickly. The staff in the restaurant seemed a little uninterested but weren't rude in any way. All in all the hotel was nice and I would certainly stay again but avoiding breakfast.

"Beautiful historic building"
Nicolene, 20 Juin 2016

My daughter and I stayed in the hotel when we visited Prague during November 2015. We found the hotel to be extremely clean, the personnel to be friendly (an exception, as the rest of the Czechs were not friendly at all!) and helpful. Since the hotel is conveniently located, we never had to make use of public transport. The breakfast was excellent, and the free (fast) wi fi was an added bonus. I would love to go back and stay here again.

"easy access to the metro"
Ahmad A, 20 Juin 2016

nice original place and beautiful historic city, the walking from hotel to the city down town is well worth it. :Hotel is not far from the river and the metro is along the way to the city. Prague is absolutely worth visiting

"Excellent"
Anne M, 12 Juin 2016

Found the Hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was incredible with a full English on offer as well as fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. We walked for the four days we were in Prague and found the Hotel to be very central, as well as being close to the river.

"Value for money. Well located."
rajul5234, 31 Mai 2016

It's situation is near to train station. It's near to tram stop, yet off main road so traffic noise is avoidable. Lounge is not good. Breakfast is average, but staff is courteous. Rooms are small in size, yet have all amenities including tea/ coffee makers.

"Great experience!"
Dominika S, 30 Mai 2016

We staid with my husband in Best Western Moran this May. We loved the breakfast, local pastries, fresh cheese, ham, oatmeal, fresh fruit salat and champagne. The location as great too, just a few steps to metro B, Karlovo Namesti. . The room was clean with a lot of light, big windows and fresh air. The staff was nice a friendly. We will definitely come back.

"WARNING!"
Aurora V, 27 Mai 2016

It has a good location, but not too close to downtown. The rooms are comfortable and have good size. Public transportation is quite near, well communicated, but there is an issue to consider, this hotel does not have security boxes in the rooms. We asked if it could be safe, and told us it was. Unfortunately we forgot to bring with us a Swarovski pendant, we left it in the night table and one hour later we noticed that, call the hotel (reception) in order to look for it and keep it safe, but they told us it was not found. We came back to the hotel, the room has been cleaned, and obviously, no pendant at all. They didn´t take any kind of responsibility on this. So, if you decide to stay in this hotel, be careful of not forgetting any valuable on the room, because you are not going to find it, and the hotel personnel will not help you and become responsible for a theft. Other issue is the noise outside. You hear the trams since very early in the morning and up to 11:00 PM

"Great location"
heathermI1825UU, 15 Mai 2016

This was a very comfortable Best Western in a good location. Nothing special and a little issue with the cleanliness of our bathroom but other than that we had an ok stay. The beds were comfortable. The reception was good and the employee helped us get oriented with some highlights and mad e great suggestion for dinner on our first evening.

"Excellent peaceful location within walking distance of all the amenities."
Janet F, 01 Mai 2016

A great little hotel situated about 20 mins walk from the Centre. Hence it was fairly quiet but very safe at night. The theatre is 15 mins walk and the river only 2 mins away. Trams come right past the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good - buffet style with lots of choice. It was Easter so they made an effort with a special 'lamb shaped' chocolate cake and free chocolate rabbits! My room was spacious, My son's was smaller, but both rooms were well equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. There is a lovely French style Bar/café (Cafe Amandine) opposite which does nice brasserie type food (salads, soups etc). We spent a whole week in Prague so were able to see it at our leisure - walked for miles, but also took the tram and bus (to the zoo) and the train out to Kutna Hora (nice village - bit spooky ossuary full of bones on display!). All the art galleries and museums are cheap entry and worth browsing. Prague is an interesting city with castles, beautiful buildings and the river. The Municipal House is worth a visit, if only to eat cake in wonderful surroundings! We had a great week. I would fully recommend this hotel for a city break.

Spent 2 nights here and couldn't fault a thing. Location is only a short walk to all the sights. Rooms were spacious, clean and nicely stocked with tea, coffee and toiletries. Staff were friendly and language barrier was never an issue. If I return to Prague would def look to stay here again

"Brilliant place"
rosies53, 25 Avril 2016

I found this hotel fairly friendly given different languages. Helpfull staff though, clean rooms/toilets/eating area. Prague itself is very clean too and extremely interesting. We stayed 2 night's but in hindsight should have been at least 4. Hotel quite central for team into old town/Charles bridge but it's also walkable.Really enjoyed our visit.

"Comfortable"
Johanna S, 20 Avril 2016

We stayed here while visiting friends who live in the neighborhood. The hotel was very comfortable, quiet, and good location to trams and metro. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Internet worked well.

"Good clean hotel - central (ish) location...."
Gypsy N, 25 Mars 2016

Nice clean hotel - reception is somewhat chaotic and abrupt. No information given about any of the services on offer - breakfast/laundry/wi-fi etc'. Safe's are located behind reception and require you to queue up to access them via the receptionist. Breakfast is very good - plenty of choice and fresh. Room cleaned well daily. Bit of a walk to the main town (around 10-15 mins) but thee walk is along the river so there is plenty to see en route.

"Highly reccomend"
laniecake, 25 Mars 2016

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is an excellent base to explore Prague.Spacious, light comfortable rooms. Spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Definitely stay again, and highly reccomend it.

"Good central location"
54ahw, 23 Mars 2016

Good sized room which was light and airy overlooking the street. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms very clean. Lovely selection for breakfast in the mornings, both cooked or continental with a selection of fruits, breads, etc...We found this an ideal base as it was within walking distance to Charles bridge, castle or the Jewish quarter, around 20 min walk away otherwise Metro close by as well as the trams.

"Good base"
John K, 14 Mars 2016

Stayed for 3 nights, reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel itself was spotless. Room was ok, cleaned every day. Basic TV channels rarely used. Breakfast was ok, lots of choice of cereals, cheese and breads. My only problem was the hot items at breakfast, eggs, bacon & sausages were popular and rarely replenished so 2 days there was none. Needs more staff maybe to monitor these items. It was about 10 mins to centre and 2 mins from the river. It's ideally placed to explore Prague. I'd stay again.

"Fine, clean, nothing specail"
louisegH7498KE, 07 Mars 2016

The hotel is fine, but nothing special. Easy to get to and from. The breakfast was ok, they did have a glutton free bread available, so I was able to eat something. The room are just the typical hotel room style.

"Good hotel in good location"
Alena G, 04 Mars 2016

The hotel is good, but not excellent. They need to renovate it cause everything is quite old. The room was small, but enough for me. Kettle, tea, coffee - everything refilled every day. Cleaning every day and good cleaning. The breakfast should be improved as well in my opinion - for 4 stars the choice is not big. But in general the hotel is clean and good. I had a great room - on the 6th floor, facing the inside and an amazing view on the castle!

"Great place to stay in Prague"
CarolB711, 01 Mars 2016

This hotel is in a good location, with metro and tram links literally on the doorstep. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, only complaint was that a mirror was needed next to the plug when using hair straighteners. Breakfast had a good selection of food, something for everyone. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I had emailed before our visit and asked for travel arrangements from the airport, they replied immediately. This was so cheap and easy to do using bus and metro. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel on our next visit to Prague.

"Good stay"
TJo61, 17 Février 2016

Spotlessly clean. Pleasant room on 2nd floor. Would have preferred hairdryer to be in bedroom rather than bathroom & to have a mirror at the desk where i could sit, rather than kneeling on floor to put makeup on. Breakfast was fine - continental. Staff were pleasant. Main downside is that the hotel is away from main tourist areas, but transport via metro is pretty good. Bought a day pass from reception for 110cz. Wifi reception was generally ok.

"Average location, poor wifi"
Kat R, 14 Février 2016

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre of town, the wifi barely worked in our room, breakfast was good, room was good. The staff were able to recommend a good restaurant and book some tours for us.

"Good location, poor service"
oytun g, 28 Janvier 2016

Hotel is not hearth of the city but good location, near metro. You can go to center with metro or tram in a few minutes. Breakfast is good. Service and workers are not smiling. Hotel is clean, but i am not sure i will stay again.

"Excellent, esp. if you are visting Charles Uni."
franzzjb, 24 Janvier 2016

Room very nice, internet stable and fast, breakfast nice (although it was not important to me), classic tourist sites not so close but walking distance, 300 meters to Charles university (Karlovo namesti branch).

"Amazin"
Ghijo, 17 Janvier 2016

Staff very appreciable, they've been so kind and reserved us a VIP treatment. Room nice and clean, really quiet and you're in the centre of Prague! Also the breakfast was such a huge buffet! Wonderful location!! Reccomended 100%!!! Not complaining at all!

"Christmas Break"
Christine O, 31 Décembre 2015

Lovely hotel very clean staff very helpful. Only 15 minute stroll along the river to the Old Town which was amazing with Christmas markets and Christmas tree! Lovely French restaurant just across the road. Lovely stay!

"Fifteenth visit lives up to expectation"
Christine S, 29 Décembre 2015

We have visited Prague every year since 1993 and have stayed at the Moran on many occasions. We were made to feel very welcome; some of the staff have been there for years so recognise regulars. It is a stylish hotel, decorated in a restful style and situated in a handy position for metro, trams and buses, with a supermarket and smaller local shops nearby, and a variety of eating places within minutes' walk.

"Christmas in Prague"
Bob B, 28 Décembre 2015

The Moran is a standard city centre hotel, fair sized comfortable room,WiFi connection adequate, breakfast well presented and a good choice. Free safety deposit boxes are in reception and all of the staff were well presented and courteous. The room although facing onto a tram route was really quiet,we were on the 4th floor. The hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes stroll along the river to Charles Bridge or the Old Town Square,if you are not into walking the tram and metro stop is two minutes from the hotel, both offer excellent services to the cities attractions. Day tickets are available at reception. If we were to return to Prague we would stay at the Moran again.

"Great hotel, front office staff could do better"
The_Young_Monk, 24 Décembre 2015

I stayed at this hotel twice - Day 1-3 and Day 21 of my Europe trip. What surprised me was that they gave me a small room for the longer stay (although they had other rooms available) and a much larger one for the single night! The hotel is like any other Best Western - clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and great breakfast. Special mention of the two ladies at breakfast.Exceptional and smiling service all throughout. Although the spread wasnt much, but it was good for someone who is looking to make this hotel as a base to explore the city. The hotel is located close to all the major attractions - you can either walk or take the metro or tram or cab. Really, everything is possible. There are lots of supermarkets nearby so basic necessities are taken care of. What's more, there is a lovely cafe across the hotel where guests get 10% discount. Wifi in hotel was good too. However we didnt like the attitude and hospitality of the front office staff. Not only was he rude but also unhelpful. Not knowing English can be pardoned, but he should treat all guests with respect - and I found him uncooperative. The only reason to come back to this hotel would probably be the price. Even though we booked a day before, we got the best deal compared to similar hotels in the vicinity.

"a basic hotel"
geraldine t, 17 Décembre 2015

the photos make it look better than t is, staff are friendly but the breakfasts are poor, pasta twirls and mixed veg isn't great, I had bread everyday, the chef put eggs out at 10am, breakfast was over at 10am. Rooms were very basic and the towels are thicker than the pillows, nowhere near the sights, so quite a walk for those who have problems. Overall a very cheap hotel. Pay the extra and get a better one I will in future.

"nice hotel optimum price"
efstratiosv2015, 11 Décembre 2015

Nice hotel at optimum price with metro and tram nearby.Breakfast with espresso or capuccino included and plenty of dishes to choose. The room was wide and confortable but the dooble bed was two beds united.

"Great for everyone!"
Dirk V, 11 Décembre 2015

I had a several meetings near Karlovo namesti, so I chose this hotel because of the location. Free and fast wi-fi was very much appreciated. A wide selection of breakfast was always a really good start to my day. Stuff was efficient and friendly. Had seen a many different type of guests during my stay and everyone seemed to be satisfied. Really good hotel for everyone. I am going to stay again.

"SEcond visit to this hotel"
jeduffy1, 07 Décembre 2015

When I stayed here 2.5 years ago I loved it. This time not so much. My room this time was so small that if you opened the room door it would touch the bathroom door. That wasn't so much a problem as I could literally fall into the bed from the doorway. While I was travelling solo I had requested -- and paid -- for a double. The front desk staff seemed ambivalent at best. I asked if this was really a double and the concierge shrugged. Would not go back.

"Not sure how it is four star"
Lizzie6474, 01 Décembre 2015

No restaurant, no bar, unmanned reception when we wanted a safe deposit. Not sure what makes this a four star hotel. Was clean enough and breakfast was good. But that was all. Wouldn't recommend but wouldn't disrespect it either.

"Excellent Hotel "away from it all" but "really close to everything""
Manny G, 29 Novembre 2015

We had a room at the Best Western City Hotel Moran in Prague from November 22 to November 28, 2015. This is my third time to stay in this hotel. This is a great hotel for tourists who prefer to stay in a quiet location (away from fellow tourists) but also be just minutes away from the Old town (to be with fellow tourists). Location: the Hotel is located in Na Morani and its location is perfect because it is just a 5 minute walk from the metro, and 2 minute walk from the tram stops that will take you to all the sites in your Prague tourist guide book. t is in a very quiet neighborhood, far from all the noise of the old town square but really very close to the old town because you're just 4 stops away... If you want to go be like a local and go shopping in a mall, walk two minutes to take Tram #16, just two stops to Andel, you are there. if you want to hang around in the old city, take tram #17, just four stops, and you are there at Charles bridge. It is also just a 8 minute walk to Ü Fleckü, a great local restaurant. It is just a 3 minute walk to the supermarket and the Pharmacy. I timed myself on my way to the airport and door-to-door by Metro (B line towards Žilcin) from hotel to checkin in Terminal 2 is 23 minutes. Take the Metro B to Karlovo Namésti to get to the Hotel. Location Rating = 5 Stars. Room: In my stay last week, we stayed in room 206. This is one of the 4 rooms in the hotel that has a balcony. There were three of us adults in the room and it was still roomy. The beds, including the sofa bed, are all very comfortable and pillows.. oh those pillows are heavenly soft. From the balcony,, you have a narrow view of the Vltava river. it is not a front view to the Vltava river but it is a nice spot for you to take your selfie and a group photo. There is some noise from the trams going through their tracks. It is not really loud but if you have a sensitive ear and you don't like the noise of trams, then ask for a room on the higher floors or a room at the back of the building. Room Rating: 4 Stars Internet: you get free internet. every floor has its own router so you have a rather fast internet. the internet is fast pretty much throughout the day until about 7:00 p.m. to midnight where I noticed some slowing down but did not stop me from working. Friday night internet was slow that in a couple of occasions, internet dropped off, otherwise, all other nights were okay. Internet Rating: 4 Stars Breakfast: Breakfast is very good. it is a great spread of eggs (hardboiled, scrambled or if you request, fried eggs), 3 or 4 cheeses, fruits, ham and bacon, some Czech sausages, a good selection of nuts and seeds, several types of yogurt, and delicious bread. If you love liver pate, you will not be disappointed. The servers are wonderful.. very friendly, helpful and always at your beck and call when you need help. breakfast Rating: 4 stars Checking in and Reception ... is a breeze. It took me less than 5 minutes to check in , get my personal key to the safety deposit boxes. Front desk is small and can take two people at one time but it doesn't bother me at all because after a 10 hour flight from the US, the face that welcomes me is a smiling person so it makes checking in a breeze and a very good experience. Reception folks are very helpful. All of them have helped me in one way or another and it is really a pleasant experience to talk to these helpful people. Check In and Reception Rating: 5 Stars To summarize... if you are a budget traveller and would like to stay in a hotel that is very clean, gives you great value for your money, and gives you a very positive hotel experience everyday of your stay in Prague, then Best Western City Hotel Moran is the one for you.

"Great Value"
Richard060356, 29 Novembre 2015

Booked hotel on Expedia, double room and breakfast for two nights for my wife and I, for a total of £55.00. Too good to be true, not a bit of it. The hotel is located a bit outside the main touristy bit but is on the main tram routes and Yellow Metro line so still quite handy. The hotel provides a warm welcome. It is quite small but provides a handy base. The room was bright, spotless and comfortable, very quiet (can be a problem in the busier parts of Prague) and had kettle, tea, coffee, milk and sugar, en-suite bathroom, basically everything you could want. Breakfast is your typical buffet arrangement, best to be early but very acceptable and the staff were very helpful. On a note, if you use the Metro the hotel reception will sell you a 24hr or a three day pass, saves struggling with the language at the station or in a local shop BUT remember to validate this the first time you use it, push it in the slot at the metro with the green light, this impresses a time and date which then gives you 24/72hrs use. DO NOT revalidate again as this void the ticket and you can and will be fined if caught. I would happily use this hotel again and have no hesitation recommending this to other travellers looking for somewhere to stay in Prague but remember you are a little way out.

"Great stay"
Tia L, 17 Novembre 2015

This hotel is nicely situated near old centre of Prague, we always walked by the river to visit castle, square and museums. First time I visited Museum of medieval torture :D We had 2 rooms, both very clean and huuuge. Breakfast in the morning was tasty with great selection. Staff is very nice and speaks fluent English and German. Book with confidence, this is great hotel and their certificate of excellence is well earned.

"Great hotel"
dave b, 17 Novembre 2015

Lovely hotel, staff were excellent .rooms clean and well appointed. Great choice of food for breakfast. About 1km from old town but a nice walk along the river towards Charles bridge with a great view of the Royal palace and St Vitus's Cathedral .We would definitely stay here again ..

"Amazing Hotel, Amazing Location & Amazing Staff!"
Tarek N, 15 Novembre 2015

I really loved staying at best western city hotel Moran. My room was big enough, clean and the location was amazing, just 4 minutes by walking to the dancing house, 15 minutes to Charles Bridge and just 1 minute to see the beautiful river. The receptionist Stepan was very very very helpful and professional. He helped my friend who was staying in a different hotel to print out the ticket of Madonna's concert as he lost. we tried to do so for more than half an hour then we asked his help and he was super helpful. Prague is more than a beautiful city, charming, magic, history and mystery. you could feel the love in the city from the first moment. People are happy and love.

"3 Nights in Prague"
nickpat, 08 Novembre 2015

Pleasant Hotel in Central Location, easy 20 minute stroll along the river to centre of old town, castle etc all within walking distance of this beautiful city. Hotel has all amenities of typical 3 star hotel. Good Value break booked with Jet 2. Breakfast was buffet style hot & cold options, healthy choices available and good coffee. Bedroom very quiet, had room at rear of hotel. Bathroom ok (but please upgrade the Hairdryer) so important for lady traveling with hand luggage only !! Staff all very nice and helpful. Metro, Bus & Tram services close by but we preferred to walk in the autumn sun shine. Check out the Parisian Brasserie across the road for fab coffee & cakes. Also The Local Bar one street down for a nightcap. No bar in hotel but not an issue with such a variety of bars in Praha. Enjoy your trip.

"Friendly, helpful staff in a clean and comfortable hotel in a great location"
England62, 04 Novembre 2015

The reception staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a typical buffet of good quality - and great coffee!!. Walking to Old Town, Charles Bridge and nearby sights took 15 minutes and was also easily accessible by tram. I will happily stay in this great value hotel on my next visit to Prague. Perfect for short break. No evening meals available but lovely Café/Bistro across the road.

"Survey of my stay in Prague"
Home4sale, 01 Novembre 2015

Location is excellent, close enough to walk everywhere and quiet enough being away from the noisy area. Excellent choices of eateries around and reasonable prices for good quality food. If you love to walk, this is a very easy walking without steep up or down hill walking. If you prefer to take metro, it's around the corner with 2 mins walking to take the train at 24 K (10 cents or less in Canadian currency) for 1/2 hour travel any direction.

"Short break to Prague"
Valerie F, 25 Octobre 2015

Firstly might I say what an amazing and beautiful city Prague is! We picked the Moran because it looked quite central and had good reviews and it did live up to it's hype! Very convenient to transport links however still quite a walk, albeit a pleasant one, to places of interest. Hotel very clean and breakfast adequate. Staff were helpful and efficient. Good wee break!

"Just what we wanted."
I4082AJrobertb, 24 Octobre 2015

We stayed for a 3 night city break and it was just what we wanted. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the old town, with the route being mainly along the beautiful river. We found that this hotel was great for our purposes, although it doesn't have much by way of public areas for anyone spending time at the hotel. The one negative might be the sound of the trams late into the night and early in the morning.

"Excellent stay"
grassman2015, 22 Octobre 2015

Decent breakfast. Good location, close to metro and tram stops. Tram noice little bit annoying when falling to sleep. Earplugs recommended for gentle sleepers. Overall excellent price to quality ratio. Nice French style cafe accross the street.

"lovely hotel!"

Really pleased with all aspects of this hotel, location great, room we had was a good size, cleaned to a very high standard, comfortable beds, very quiet at night. Plenty to eat at breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or to stay here again if we return to this beautiful city.

"3 days in Prague with friends"
Nlt0211, 09 Octobre 2015

Very good hotel, with great location - walking distance from center, but also next to tram and metro stop, and away from the tourist crowds. Large rooms. Good breakfast with selection of hot and cold food. Would stay there again.

"OUR 5 DAY STAY"
ericsF9499JO, 06 Octobre 2015

A great hotel on the edge of Prague - Tram to center 10 mins. or easy walk. Reception staff were very efficient but could have a more friendly attitude Breakfast very good- a range of items hot or cold plus fruit and cereals-bread and cakes were also excellent--Staff were friendly and good at their job. Would be pleased to stay there again for city break

"Wonderful prague"
Alma K, 06 Octobre 2015

Very nice hotel ,friendly helpful staff very good breakfast. Large comfortable bedroom. Close to underground, tram ,hop on hop off bus stops. Very nice restaurant across the street. No area to sit and chat except in the foyer.

"Ladies trip"
LisaFlan, 05 Octobre 2015

Stayed the past three nights on this hotel. I can not rate it enough. Great location. 10 minutes stroll to the centre. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous generous breakfast. Large rooms for a city hotel. Some with great views from balconys. Taxi 200 to 250 korun. Agree price with driver before accepting. Highly recommend the french restaurant across the road from the hotel with amazing food. We ate there three times over the weekend. The amazing staff food and decor are worth the visit.

"Perfect"
Andy T, 02 Octobre 2015

Very impressed overall with the quality and staff. Breakfast was adequate to last easily until lunch with a good range. Location. Was also excellent with everything within a twenty minute walk. Trams and metro very close by which have easy access to everywhere else. My only small complaint would be the bedroom curtains which did not completely close out the light

"Great Hotel"
Joan K, 01 Octobre 2015

Stayed for 5 nights, Comfortable and clean, very nice breakfast. Close to trams to get into Old Town and other locations. Everyone very friendly, would stay there again. It is a small hotel, in a neighborhood, not much going on around it. Nice small French restaurant across the street, good food very friendly.
