"Terrible policy for children. "
I did not actually stay at the OYO because I could not. We were a family of two adults and two children ages 9 & 11. I was informed I could only have one child in the two queen-bed room and that I would have to rent two rooms for our family of four. That is preposterous! We moved on.
"This Hotel needs a lot of maintenence!!!!"
We arrived a couple hours before check in time, so we were told to hang out at the attached restaurant that had just reopened. When we first walked into our room, my wife commented that the room stank. We soon found trash in the trash can that had been left by the previous occupant. We later found an open bottle of Mt. Dew in the fridge as well. The floor was ceramic tile near the jacuzzi, that turned into carpet a few feet away. The first 3 - 5 feet of the carpet was damp for some reason but there was no water on the ceramic floor. My wife used the jacuzzi and said the water smelled of chlorine. The next morning as we were packing up to leave I noticed the wall between the jacuzzi and the desk was covered in MOLD. The hallway leading from the front desk to our room had holes in the ceiling and plaster and water on the ground as well as a mop bucket.
"Met all expectations!"
Check in was quick and courteous. King Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was in par with other free breakfast hotels. A great value for the money! Would stay here again if in the Portland area again.
"Front Desk Staff Rude and UnHelpful"
I made my reservation online through the OYO app and received a confirmation. Drove 5 hours to find out that they double booked my room and had no other rooms available. Unacceptable. Only told me that I should have been notified about the double booking. Should have. Would have. Could have. Doesn't help me. He didn't offer to help find alternate accommodations and was absolutely the most unprofessional person I have ever come across in my life and I travel quite frequently. Mr. Patel (sp?), you should go back to school and learn that the customer is always right and in the hospitality business, always try and please the guest otherwise you won't get repeat business. You've lost my and my family's business and I will never stay in a Comfort Inn. Ever again. 0/5 stars.
"My hotel stay"
I stayed at this Comfort Inn Suites for right at a month. The staff there were nothing short from amazing. Espeically the manager on mid shift Shawn he always mad sure to go above an beyond of all his guest needs. But all in all most all staff were the same way no matter than time of day or time of night. They had an a slight water issue that caused the Guest Laundry to be out of order for a day or day but the staff took it upon theirselves to take our laundry to the main laudyroom they use for the softlines of the hotel and washed and dried our clothes an than even folded them. I would not recommend anyone going to any other Hotel in this area other than this Comfort Inn and Suites.
