Best Western Plus Berkshire Hills Inn & Suites

Went to the Berkshires for a quick getaway. Found this hotel to check all the boxes. Friendly staff, super clean, wonderful comfortable beds and suite was just the right size. Cozy and spacious. Heater worked perfectly and was very quiet. Made our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

This property has improved measurably since my last visit two years ago, when I had problems with exterior door access, problems with the toilet, tiny TV etc. This time around everything was perfect inside and out … including a great breakfast (actual fried eggs instead of the stuff from a carton!). A perfect stay -- and a fantastic value, since it was paid for 100% with points.

Due to an issue at our apartment, my girlfriend, our cat and I were forced to find somewhere else to sleep at 8:30pm the night before an exam. We were able to find this hotel, check in at 10:00pm, comfortably spend the night with the cat, and attend exams the next morning, and in a space that was clean, well-lit, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Best Western was the best part of a really difficult 48 hours! The coffee machine in the lobby is amazing. They were super accommodating and helpful here, would reccomend.

I have stayed at this Best Western hotel for many years and it has always been very clean. The complimentary breakfast is enjoyed by us and the staff is professional yet caring to make our visit a great experience.

Probably your best economical choice for a hotel in the Berkshires. (There aren't that many.) The hotel is recently renovated, very clean. It is outside of town, which could be a plus or minus for you. It had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It was not peak "anything" season, so the price was great.

Our room was the perfect set up for our family of 4. King size bed and TV in one part and 2 double beds, TV, pullout couch and desk in other section. Free Breakfast, Free Coffee 24/7 and a gym. I wish Every Best Western had this style of Suite.

My partner and I were going to the Catskills for a family vacation, but we both had to work in the am. We were able to come up the night before and stay over. We had a wonderful overnight with a hot breakfast in the morning while we worked. It made the trip so much more enjoyable getting an affordable room close by the night before. Excellent staff, clean, comfortable. Internet slow to unavailable. Staff very helpful and responsive. Pets allowed. Great back road access to Tanglewood. No EV chargers for miles, either not working or too slow and occupied. People have hooked into 110.

We were in town to celebrate the wedding of our son to a local woman. The location was convenient for our needs, the hotel was well maintained and the staff was wonderful. They provided extra towells, held our bags after checkout, and returned a wheelchair for us.

A good hotel and an excellent stay. We were warmly welcomed by the reception team and they helpfully recommended some restaurants nearby for dinner. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel on the third floor. The room was clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. Our room had fridge and a microwave, a good size tv. The bathroom contained the shower/tub and the toilet, separately outside was the sink, this idea is quite rare these days but works well. Good quality breakfast, with hot options of omelettes and French toast, the team member working there, continually adding and replenishing stocks. Up to the usual high standards of BW.

Michael, working the front desk did an amazing job getting me checked in. Also made the stay feel welcoming. Rooms seemed clean, exception was the smell of unclean animals throughout the hallwsys and elevator. Every room is considered a pet-friendly room so anyone with allergies, come prepared.

I book accommodations for 12 athletic teams for the University of Maine at Presque Isle. On October 26, I booked a block of rooms at this hotel, sent them my room list and received confirmation of our reservations for Nov. 12. When my team arrived late in the night on Nov 12, there were no rooms for them, and my coach was left scrambling trying to find another hotel. I contacted the individual with whom I had originally made the reservation and he really was not able to explain what happened, but promised that a manager would contact me. Four days later - nothing. I've never had an issue with the Best Western franchise in the 10 years I have been doing this but was certainly disappointed with this experience.

This hotel was a major disappointment. We came here directly from the Best Western in Manchester, NH, which I rated as a 4-star place. The Best Western Berkshire Hills was priced significantly higher, while providing poorer accommodations and service. The peak season prices for the room would have been understandable if the hotel had lived up to its billing. But it didn't. Even by the mediocre standard of "free" hotel breakfast buffets, this one was a joke. The eggs were tasteless. Even a liberal application of hot sauce couldn't save them. They ran out of individual servings of yogurt and bread to toast on our second day there, and had not replenished them by our final morning. Thus, on our two final days, where our lodging was approximately twice as expensive as the first two days, breakfast was the worst. On our last day, we gave up on the buffet and went to Clo's Diner about 1/3 of a mile down the street. Here's a tip: have the coffee and juice at the hotel, then go to Flo's for breakfast. WiFi connectivity was sketchy at best. My wife attempted to keep up with some ongoing tasks, but connectivity was so bad that she could not maintain a reliable VPN connection to her office. While I did not need to check in at work, I found that my online sessions dropped more than occasionally. On our first morning there, the handle on our toilet broke. When I lifted the lid of the tank to troubleshoot, I was confronted by a large colony of black mold that covered most of the tank. When I reported the issue to the front task, I felt obliged to warn them about the black mold. To the management's credit, they did replace the toilet handle and clean out the mold in the tank, but.....that much black mold in the tank indicates to me that the toilet had not been well-maintained. Housekeeping at the hotel is by request. We did not request any housekeeping services during our stay. I understand the shortage of housekeeping staff and the desire of the management to keep their staff safe. But for the rates we paid over the weekend, one would expect that housekeeping would be included for one of the two days without our having to request it. I had been considering being easier on the hotel in my review until I saw the rates we were charged for Saturday and Sunday. The rates should have reflected a 4+ star hotel, not the 3- stay that we had. The unreasonably high rates for Saturday and Sunday, when considered against the joke of a breakfast buffet, the sub-par WiFi and the apparent lack of preventive maintenance, lead me to lower my rating to 2 stars.

We had a first floor room, as we prefer this floor, we are seniors. The breakfast. was very good, food's nice and very good coffee! It appears that the Best Western Plus is up to par! Clean room and very quiet a/c, makes for very comfortable, restful sleep! Our activities/trips in Pittsfield, we often stay in this hotel. We appreciated the fast check-in and check-out!

Staff was friendly but seemed very inexperienced; and the facility was clean but shabby, just smelled old and in need of renovation. I've stayed at many nice BW Plus motels in recent years; but this was definitely not one of them, definitely a BW Minus.

After a rough trip to the area we contacted the Best Western looking for a room. Anthony immediately did everything he could to turn our weekend around, find us a room and even recognized us later in the weekend in passing and checked in on us. Best experience I've ever had with a concierge/front desk agent.

We booked a hotel near the Best Western originally but when we got there it ended up being absolutely disgusting. We called a few other hotels to try and salvage our stay, and Best western really came through! Not only was the concierge sympathetic, but he went above and beyond to try and make sure our room was the best they had to offer. The breakfast was also fairly good for most of the free hotel breakfasts I've had, and was even different the two days I stayed there.

Travelled with large family. Reception clerk made sure we have the best stay. He went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were accommodated. Great quiet place to stay with family. Hotel staff was very nice. Rooms were immaculate .

We made this trip to ride a couple of the rail trails in the Berkshires. This hotel was convenient, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We are hopeful that we can do this again in the fall during "leaf peeper" season.

The fixtures (the plug in the lamp next to bed and the bureau drawers) didn't work. The bed was solid as a rock and very uncomfortable. The Internet didn't work at all during the three days we were there. Overall very disappointed and will not stay again

We had a pick up at Fontaines Auction Gallery late in the day and this place was just down the road. Also very nice and had an elevator. Clean. Great mattress and great towels. They give you two choices from the beverage case for free. Also served a pretty decent breakfast. Yogurt machine… was a first for me and I liked it. Didn't get into the toppings, but they had them. Spotty heating microwave. Not a big deal. They gave us a room across from the elevator, which I thought was great for the dog (we were on the second floor), but it was also catty corner to the guest laundry and someone was doing laundry and we got thump, thump, thump, ka-thump, for what seemed like hours.

In these post Covid times, my standards have changed a little. Is it clean? yes. Good bedding and pillows> yes. Breakfast on premises. Yes. Everything worked, but nothing was special in any way. Breakfast was OK for something to just eat and get going. Our room, king bed with a sofa, was big enough and comfortable enough, too. But, it was a little dark. The big issue for me turned out to be that it was off the beaten track a little. Getting to Pittsfield was tricky even with google maps. So, for what they offered, it was good. Next time, I'll stay on a major road.

The staff was great and extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding us a place to have dinner. The city was only 3 miles away and this was a quiet country place to stay. The lobby and rooms are very clean. Breakfast was very good with quite a few choices.

We have been Best Western customers for years, we have travelled in New England and Canada extensively and appreciated this hotel brand for many years! We have very nice resting/sleeping, the rooms are clean and the amenities are good for our needs. Some of the these hotels have better breakfasts and good coffee too.(very nice selections of tea,too). Our wish that these hotels are updated w/ electric car outlets in the parking lots! We travel w/ our hybrid and electric cars now a days! Thanks!

Exceptional customer service and a great place to stay. The type of room we reserved (king bed suite with two additional double beds) was not available and we were very disappointed. But BW super-employee Bo at front desk was determined to come up with a solution that would make us happy…. and he did. We really (really) appreciate his can-do attitude and for always having a smile for us throughout our stay. He turned a sticky situation into a wonderful time spent at this BW. I should also add the place is spotless clean, comfortable beds, and great hot breakfast in a convenient location. Every other employee we met also seemed happy to be there and we're very cordial. Southern hospitality in MA!!! Highly recommended. Kudos and gratitude to Bo!!!

We spent two nights here and found every employee to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us being on the outskirts of the big city. Early morning traffic can be quite noisy. Overall, it was a very good experience and would stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.

Great Parking, Easy Check-in. Good hot breakfast. Friendly, courteous front desk. There is not a lot to see from the hotel so don't expect a view, especially from the back of the hotel. Overall fantastic overnight stay.

We met friends we had not seen in a long time with this location being in the middle. Enjoyed sightseeing, hiking and dining out in the Berkshires. Hotel was fine with friendly, hardworking management and staff. All was good. Appreciated the more quiet location as we live in the country and that's what we're used to. Nice there was real Half and Half and milk so you didn't have to use that horrible fake coffee creamer stuff. I tried one of the organic herbal teas, too, and it was yummy. Be sure to try the fresh yogurt direct from a farm. Excellent taste and creamy texture, plus cuts down on waste of all those little individual containers.

My wife, 2-year old daughter, and I stayed here at this hotel for 3 nights during a trip to the Berkshire region in October 2021 and we had, what I would describe as, an average stay. The room we stayed at was spacious; we had after all booked a suite with one completely separate side-room and that additional space was welcome. However, the pillows provided on both beds were odd. Nearly all were small pillows (more like cushions) and roughly at the same level of squishiness. The room had other issues too, including the fact that the sofa looked worn out and some of the comforters were not perfectly clean. The door also lacked a door closer which made things noisy. Lastly, the toilet kept doing ghost flushes i.e. the water kept running after a flush and that was annoying, both because of the noise and because of the loss of water. The breakfast was average; I have had better and I have had worse. We did not have proper plates (what's available were paper plates) and the selection included scrambled eggs, sausage patties, along with bread, fruits, a variety of juices and coffee. The scrambled eggs were runny and watery and appear to have been cooked elsewhere - not at the hotel itself. Something that was welcome was the waffle maker - I availed of it more than once during our stay at this hotel. Check-out was set at 11 a.m. and although that is the norm, another hotel in the Berkshires that we did not stay at had an even earlier check-out time of 10 a.m. In terms of location, this is a bit far from downtown Pittsfield so on the two nights we dined in Pittsfield, we had to travel quite a bit. In that respect, the lack of nice restaurants near to this hotel is a draw-back. All in all, given our average stay, I would consider staying here again but would also be on the look out for a place a bit nicer.

Quick summary: very comfortable, clean rooms. Many amenities we expect from Best Western hotels. Friendly, professional staff. Very good value. My review is based on what I expect at well-priced, value-plus hotels. We are fans of the Best Western chain, and this is another example of why. We stayed in room #203, which has two comfy queen beds and lots of pillows. Good-sized work desk, and lots of plugs on the desk and night table to charge your devices. Good lighting. Coffee/tea maker. Iron/board, Microwave and fridge. Tub/shower combo (thank you - I love a tub at the end of a long day!) Toiletries are shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and of course soaps. Hair dryer. No in-room safe, but those seem to be disappearing. Maybe there is one at the check-in desk. Excellent housekeeping. HVAC and complimentary wifi work well. We didn't have a lot of time for the complimentary breakfast (we had to have something checked onthe car before heading out,) but were able to grab some fresh fruit, yogurts, and a bagel. There were other hot and cold items on the buffet. Nice public rooms and breakfast room. Laundry room available to hotel guests. The staff is great. The young man on duty in the evening (and its seems in the morning!) was very friendly, professional, and had a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Also helped with directions. Good COVID safety practices. To sum: this was a very good, comfortable stay. I'd be hapy to stay here again.

In the heart of the Berkshires. I was warmly greeted at check in. The room was recently updated. Comfortable beds and sheets. Elevator made taking my dogs out a breeze. Gazebo with chairs in back for taking in the view. Too bad we only stayed fir one night.

I had called this hotel previously to ask about things we were disappointed in other recent hotel experiences and they met our expectations and above. We found very helpful desk staff helping us to choose restaurants and directions. The full hot breakfast was fabulous. No complaints! Our only disappointment was not with the hotel but that we traveled a little too early for peak foliage. So glad the hotel did not disappoint!

Conveniently located just outside downtown Pittsfield - Historic villages of Lenox and Stockbridge only minutes away, Hancock Shaker Village is just 10 minutes down route 20. Hotel was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly.

Double beds very small and uncomfortable. Rooms are large enough to hold queen size beds. Gazebo area unsafe holes in ground causing trip hazards. Grass in Gazebo area not cut. Room was not worth $249.00 a night.

We were looking for a decent budget stay for one night near Tanglewood, and this hotel was a great fit for us. Upon arrival we were told our room had been upgraded and the gentleman working the front desk was friendly and gave us a great suggestion for where to dine nearby. The room was not shaby, it was clean and comfortable and perfectly suited our needs. Microwave, mini-fridge, and good sized flatscreen tv. Breakfast had bread, bagels, english muffins, fruit, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, juices, and coffee. They were able to accomodate our hour-late checkout. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

Pros - Free, ample parking - Courteous staff - Clean double-bed room - Strong AC - Lots of TV channels - Free coffee around the clock - Hot continental breakfast Cons - No Clorox wipes in the fitness center - No pool This was a great value hotel in the Berkshires area, conveniently located (15-30 min drive) from such major attractions like The Mount, Tanglewood, MASS MoCA, The Clark Art Institute, Williams College, Mount Greylock, and Monument Mountain. Our room, though a bit dark and dated in style, was clean and our bedding and towels were spotless. Besides the bathroom area being a bit cramped for space, the double-bed room comfortably accommodated our family of four. If you're looking for a clean and affordable place to stay, look no further.

We stayed here because it was close to the Shaker Village. For what it is, it's overpriced. Shower curtain was torn, refrigerator door wouldn.t stay closed, begrudgingly friendly staff, torn lampshades, desk chair should have been tossed out years ago. This is a glorified motel. Wouldn't stay there again.

I was staying there in July 2021 while on business, and while my room was clean and pleasant, this hotel in general could use some help. Stepping out the rear door, I thought that I was in some Appalachian backwater with lawn furniture strewn about, a laundry cart full of refuse, a pair of old work boots laying about, and a picnic table that was so dirty that no one would want to eat off it. And the "free breakfast"....what a joke, more correctly, an abomination....extremely limited selection, no hot food, and a toaster that does not work. HUH?? What's with that??1.....a broken toaster?? It's easy to boast giving a "free breakfast" when you really don't give much at all...you can get a better breakfast at the gas station down the road. To top it all off, the staff seem blissfully unaware that anything is wrong...they act as if the place is Nirvana. I am not sure whether they can't see it, or they don't want to see it, or they just don't care as they blame everything on either "the guests" or on the Covid-19 pandemic. However that may be, can't they still clean up the place and fix things despite "the guests" and the pandemic? My first stay there, and my last...I will not be returning.

This hotel is run down, and is due for a remodel. There are numerous violations at the property. Many of the side entrance doors don't latch, and lock. So anyone can enter hotel. The hotel smells like a walking cigarette.

Clean, attractive look in a great centralized location near Pittsfield MA/Berkshires historic attractions. Quiet room and a convenient free breakfast with the right amount of food and drinks. The coffee was great :)

This hotel has always been a comfortable place to stay for winter skiing, summer touring, and more. Staff is professional and courteous, providing little extras and added attention to our desires and requests.

Stayed here overnight after skiing at Jiminy Peak. Hotel has some wear and tear to it, but sufficient for what we needed. The guy behind the counter was very nice. Got the suite with the king bed in the bedroom and two queens in the main room. It's a decent size room and I was fortunate to get the handicap room so that bathroom was a good size. NIce to have the extra tv in the bedroom, but it didn't have the same stations and heater wasn't working, which is why I dropped my rating. Parking lot should have been shoveled more since it was very full. They did have cold items for breakfast, nothing special, but a lot of other places are not serving anything at all. They are still using some of the communal dispensers for the cereal, which made me wary about using them.

I confused this place with another property and was underwhelmed when I drove up. This used to be a Ramada Inn; my guess was that the conversion was a half-hearted attempt at enticing customers to trade up. But the level of detail did not quite measure up. Recognizing I was a BW Rewards member, the desk clerk upgraded me to a large multi-room suite with a fireplace. I asked and was given a room on the west end of the property for ease of access to my room -- but the exterior door lock didn't work. Once in the room I found the toilet was stopped up. No problem, get a plunger from the front desk, fix it myself. Wrong. The crappy plunger didn't work, as many times as I tried; so, no toilet for my stay (the alternative was to accept the offer of the front desk clerk to snake the toilet; I wasn't going there. The large main room with the fireplace was great. Above the fireplace was the room's TV ... and it was tiny, almost hard to see. I never stepped into the other bedroom except to adjust the room temperature ... the entire suite was quite cold when I entered. It was a learning experience: Just because you get a large room, doesn't mean you get a BETTER room. The saving grace was the nervous desk clerk, who clearly wanted to do what was available to make guests happy. When I told him about the toilet mess, he said he'd add point to my guest rewards account. He added a rare personal touch that saved an otherwise unpleasant stay.

I booked two nights at the Best Western as part of my visit to the Shaker Villages (Mount Lebanon and Hancock). With concerns about Covid etc, everyone at the hotel was respectful, kind, and clean. The rooms were quiet, clean, updated, ameneties respectable. Staff available at all times per need. I will be coming back and to further my research at both museums and will stay here. Prices, amazing.

We have stayed at this hotel a few years ago and we stayed here for one night over the October long weekend. Our family of 3 had a king suite - it is basically one long rectangular room with a sofa bed and a King bed; there is a small petition between the sofa and the King bed but not really 2 separate space. There is a microwave, coffee maker, and a decent-sized fridge in the room. The sofa bed has a thin mattress so you can feel the spring in the bed. The King was comfortable. Overall the hotel room is average - you can hear noises from rooms next door as well as from the hallway. With covid-19, the free breakfast offered is now very limited. There are wrapped bagels, pastries and bread. There is also yogurt and cereal. Our best experiences is with the staff - both Jon and the daytime manager Bo are very friendly, courteous and professional. We had a few requests and those are taken care of immediately. Housekeeping staff is also very nice.

This hotel has the capability of being a nice place. The three employees I encountered were very friendly and tried to be helpful. I understand the COVID restrictions. Having said that there are things they can do to make your stay better. The rooms were relatively clean, however I believe they need to be refreshed. None of the clocks were set to the correct time. The fireplace was not working. I did receive a room credit for that. The TV is ridiculously small and way to high on the wall. I had to stand and raise my arm for the remote control to even work. Don't count on the breakfast. The coffee in the lobby was cold. The yogurt machine was nor working correctly. The fruit was very poor. They had little mini wheat bagels in bags, there was so much more they could have offered. Hard boiled eggs for one thing. The elevator broke, but was fixed by the end of the day.

We stayed here during the labor day weekend. We stayed in one of the fireplace suites which was huge for a couple. Seems this room is set up for extended stay. It was nice during covid to be able to have the space.Breakfast was grab and go with made to order hot items but good with all things considered!

So, overall it is a cute little hotel. It doesn't seem there is too much to do near it, nothing to walk to but in a good area. Now, we traveled with our 13 pound Yorkie and were so appreciative of them accepting him. We were on the 1st floor. The room was clean and decent, however, it smelled like a bus full of people came in and smoked a pack of cigarettes each in the room. We had to run to CVS to get a fan for the window to try and get some fresh air. I didn't want to complain because pet-friendly hotels are hard to find and the room was clean and nice.. but man, bring air fresheners if you stay in the first floor. Also- the front desk guy, I think Jim, was super nice.

This hotel is located in a smaller town off Highway 20. Upon entry was met with staff who was very accommodating and friendly. The room was well appointed and quite large. The shower was excellent and beds were as well. I would definitely stay here again if need be. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Free breakfast and parking as well.

The front desk clerk was very friendly seemed he really enjoyed his job. The room was immaculate very well stocked and very comfortable.I will say they were pricey for not being near a main attraction.

I'm going to start with the list of cons because I haven't had coffee yet: -The bathroom in the first room we went to was not cleaned, it was an unpleasant experience to say the least. -there was no AC running, it was 84 degrees in the room for the first few hours. -they did not have cream or sugar for the coffee in the lobby (the machine in the room was broken). Everyone knows you don't mess with people's coffee in the morning! Pros: now that I've had some coffee, I'll go ahead with these. -it is dog friendly -the beds and pillows are comfy -the bathroom in the second room was very clean and so was the room in general -the staff seem nice, albeit not super helpful (not their fault). -WiFi works well So if you need a place to stay that's relatively clean and relatively inexpensive (read: you get what you pay for), then this place is for you.

Our family of four stayed here for three nights. We were able to get a very good price last-minute for a suite (1 king bed and 2 double beds). Pros: the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and responsive to any issues. The price was excellent. Cons: the common areas of the hotel (lobby, elevator, etc.) smell like smoke, which makes for a less pleasant experience entering/exiting. The bathroom was located in the room with two double beds, which was less than ideal since that's where our kids slept. Breakfast very minimal (I think due to COVID-19). The walls are thin (we could hear another guest snoring through our bedroom wall) and the air conditioner units are noisy. Overall: I'd give it 3 stars for the quality of the physical facility and room, upgraded to 4 stars for the good value and helpful staff.

I booked a long weekend for my boyfriend and I. I love MA anyway, but I wanted to check out the local dispensaries since I haven't been to one yet. Decided on this area since it's only 3 hours from where I live and Pittsfield and Lenox have some great food. I'm super happy with the room we got. Felt luxurious even though it was a regular hotel. The jacuzzi was in a separate room which made the rest of the room not musty (which I often have issues with) and there was a fireplace too! I would give the hotel 5 stars if there was a pool and or a bar, but you can't have it all! Lol side note- the colored water in the tub pic was a cheap color changing waterproof thing I got on amazon. It isn't the tub itself.

Comfortable rooms for singles, couples, and families with a good complimentary breakfast and good location for skiing (with discount coupons for Jiminy Peak available) and other Berkshires things to do. Staff is warm, helpful, and professional.

Was a clean and comfortable suite but I thought it was bigger judging from the pics online. But It was just enough for a family of six and for one night tho. Boe was very friendly and helpful. Our smoke detector battery was chirping and he was so quick to respond to it. Thank you. One thing I could say to improve on is the breakfast. I've stayed at plenty BW and the breakfast were so much better. Same things but cooked differently I guess. It's a great perk but when u don't particularly care for hard eggs and no OJ then what's the point. This area needs a little step up on at this location.

Jim was very polite and friendly at check in and asked us if we were skiing, letting us know he had discount coupons for a local ski area. Fitness room ok - had dumbells, but no cups on water cooler and fitness ball needed air. Breakfast ok, but ran out of hard boiled eggs, no skim milk. Walls to room were thin, but other guests were pretty quiet. Beds a little small. Overall,

I happened to stumble upon this hotel during a blizzard. During a check in the desk clerk was extremely compassionate and helpful. I was checked in and in a nice warm room in a matter of minutes. Checking out was the same great experience great staff at this hotel

I booked this place because they offer large family rooms with multiple beds. As such, it worked well for us and was a cost-effective way to have your own space and let your kids have theirs. Other than that, it was your standard budget accommodation. It was clean and the beds were decent. Rooms pretty basic and loud old fashioned AC unit. There was a water stain in the ceiling which was kind of unpleasant to look at. Location is on the highway and not walking distance to anything. The free breakfast was as expected, only things that were pretty good were fresh bagels and the Greek yogurt machine. Overall, friendly service and good value so I give it 4 stars but I wouldn't want to go there for an extended stay.

The Best Western Plus in Pittsfield is both economical and conveniently located. It is clean and well run by a very nice staff. The mechanical items need attention: lighting, mini-fridge noise, reversed hot/cold water, protruding outlet, digital clock with wrong time and couldn't be changed, etc. BUT, overall I would recommend this hotel for an average, price is right kind of place. The desk clerk upgraded us to a suite after learning we were in town for 4 nights to settle a family estate. The staff was very kind, very professional.

This is our third time at the BW Plus Pittsfield this year. Very happy to be recognized by the staff and upgraded to a huge suite for the same price. Breakfast was good and most important was the Wifi which was on point. For the price it is definitely the best deal in the area compared to the other more expensive hotels I have stayed at, that offer less.

For the past three years, we've stayed at the Berkshire BW during our autumn vist to Western MA. We've always felt welcomed. The staff is not only helpful, but seem happy to help. The rooms are big and comfortable, and everything works. Highly recommended at a reasonable price.

The staff at the Best Western were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the area. It was easy to drive to all the tourist stops as we were near the highways. The breakfast featured a variety of foods, and a fitness room which we actually used!

We stayed at this hotel on our first night of a New England road trip, out of Boston. It proved to be a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were large, and clean, with pleasant decor. We experienced excellent, very friendly, service.

I normally stay in more upscale hotels than Best Westerns; however, for this trip, I needed an close and economical solution near a project I was overseeing. My last experience at a Best Western was out in the midwest, between St. Louis and Chicago and I was not impressed. It was more of a motel, dark, dingy, and load with the noise of highway traffic penetrating the thin walls. I had passed this particular hotel often in my day trips to the area and it looked like a nice, well-kept property form the outside. Also, the hotels I had stayed at in the past when in the Pittsfield area were either sold to companies I do not enjoy patronizing or have disappeared, so I thought I would give this Best Western a try. My first impression was how wonderful it smelled and my second was how clean it was. It was nothing facy, low cost furnishings, but they were well kept. The staff was very friendly, and despite an official 3:00p check-in, they actually gave me access to my room at 11:00a when I arrived. I intended to just leave my luggage there at the lobby while I went ahead with my business trip. Next, that night I got the flu. I was in horrible shape the next day and could not possible dirve home. I asked if I could extended my stay and not only did they agree the changed some arrangements so I could stay in the same room. Sometimes when I have had to extend a stay, I end up having to change rooms. I felt so sick, it would have been tough to do that this time. The next day when I felt I could attempt the drive home, the person at the desk was not only sympathetic, but help me obtain some cold medicide that mollified me during drive home. What can I say.... clean hotel and a great staff, you can't ask for much more!

We had a Family Reunion planned for 9/18 - 9/21. Three couples made reservations to stay here but one couple needed special arrangements. The gentleman can only sleep in a recliner. The manager and staff had no problem with us ordering this chair to be delivered and picked up, allowing us to feel comfortable about the stay. Everything went well, rooms were clean and breakfast was good. I highly recommend this hotel! They go the extra mile!

This hotel needs some necessary maintenance. The elevator worked occassionally, the yogurt machine didn't work and we had to have our room key cards renewed a number of times. Housekeeping told me the elevator and the door locks were always faulty. The room was clean and the staff helpful.

a very expensive suite should be clean/and have working amenities. this one did not and the front desk was less than interested in providing and solutions. we woke up to no power and cold showers and even the morning desk manager said " their is nothing i can do for you" not the way to operate in my book

My first time using a Best Western in over 20 yrs and was very favorably impressed with this location. While it's aging a bit, it's clean & well kept and front office staff are very professional & efficient. Breakfast is the standard fare, but sufficient.

Our activities in most of our travels, we find that it was real nice and convenient to stay at Best Western hotels! It seem so nice to be recognized and know our name, in some of the BW hotels! In some of BW hotels, there are swimming pool and even jacuzzi, which we do really enjoy. Our activities are, bicycling and touring, we are tired by the evenings and enjoyed the restful sleep, and even enjoying the nice breakfast- coffee, and most of the fare offered, etc! Most of the amenities in BW hotels are very nice.Thanks!

We were greeted by the general manager when we walked in, checking in was fast and easy. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of items and the food was replenished as needed. Overall it was a very good stay.

The rooms smelled like an attic. You can hear everything from people talking to footsteps. The attendant was more concerned with the phone call then the guest. 15 mins to finally talk to him. The bed was hard as a rock.

Nice clean room. New carpet and floor. Very small bathroom so luckily the sink and vanity were outside the door. Bed was hard for me but if you like them firm.... breakfast wasn't worth a stop. Go to the Bartlett orchard store for pastries instead.

Our room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a variety of food and drinks and well stocked. The only issue i had was upon check out i wanted to pay cash but my credit card was already charged. Overall experience was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

This place is about what you would expect for a Best Western in the Berkshires. Not overly clean. Not overly dirty. Not overly comfortable but not overly uncomfortable either. The breakfast is a nice touch. We stayed for a camp visiting day and unfortunately for us that meant prices that weren't even close to the accommodations we they shouldn't be penalized for taking advantage of supply and demand. We also were woken up early by the people above us jumping up and down in the morning but once again not quite the hotels fault. If you need to stay here it's fine, if you don't, find somewhere else.

We came here after looking at a competitor's room that was noisy and smelled. We did not have transportation but options were given for delivery services for supper. The manager knew that we needed to get to the small airport early and arranged transportation and an early breakfast which was good. We were only here one night. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Made a reservation here in February after ordering Tanglewood tickets. Our plan was to head north the next day to The Clark. As we were checking in, the clerk told that our reservation had been transferred to a hotel 12 miles south. He couldn't explain why our confirmation for Pittsfield was now in Lee MA so he called the manager. After explaining to the manager that we picked his hotel in order to get an early start the next morning on a trek north plus we had previously stayed at the hotel he was transferring us to and didn't like the place, he was able to find us a room at his hotel. Problem #2, the new room was $35 more than our reservation. After a discussion, he was able to book the upgrade at the original cost. Overall the hotel has a worn look and feel. The bed although comfortable was noisy as one moved around. The included breakfast left much to be desired. We will certainly be avoiding this place in future travels

Room Stinks of Smoke, Mold smell. Filthy Carpet, in the room and Hall way.Many other rooms were in the same condition. All of our clothes went to a Dry Cleaner after the stay, due to smell adhering to our clothes.

Great Place to stay in the Berkshires -- Breakfast options are very broad and varied -- I'm sure everyone would be happy with the options -- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, breads. They also have citrus flavored water in the lobby (I love it) so refreshing -- but disappointed when ice machines went down and this option was not available for last few days of our trip...so look forward to this.

We had to book a hotel last minute due to some on-trail injuries and the folks at this hotel (specifically Emily and Jim, but everyone really) did everything to make us comfortable and able to rest and recover. It's only about 10 minutes from the AT trail head. Beds were really comfortable. Our room looked out into the woods and was quiet (we were on top floor in a two-room suite--2 queens and 1 king). The room was very clean and spacious and comfortable. Customer service was top-notch and caring. Breakfast offered a great selection, including eggs, bacon and 2 varieties of sausage, home potatoes and then bread products (waffles, bagels, English muffins). I love that they offered hot protein options and that breakfast was like 7-10... a lot of places have smaller windows to eat. In the back of the hotel, they have a netted canopy area with chairs to relax outside in.

We went to two concerts at Tanglewood over July 4th holiday. After buying concert tickets, we searched for a hotel and were shocked at holiday room rates!! This hotel was one of most reasonable and turned out to be a pleasant surprise as we have never stayed at Best Western hotels!! Staff was exemplary: kind, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of area. Bed was one of most comfortable in any of our many hotel stays!! Very clean!! One suggestion: exterior could use siding cleaning and landscape attention for positive arrival view. Would highly recommend especially when experiencing Tanglewood!!

We stayed at this hotel when we stopped in the area to visit Tanglewood. It is very close - about 10-15 minutes away. The staff was great! And the hotel was very clean. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin. We could easily hear the conversations from our neighbors and even had to listen to their snoring later in the evening. I don't think the people were being unusually loud - there just wasn't any soundproofing. All and all - I would stay there again (I'd just bring ear plugs)

We were very happy with our suite which had plenty of room for a family of four. We loved the idea of have two rooms together as one. The 24/7 coffee and free breakfast were excellent! The manager (I'm sorry I don't know his name!) was very friendly and accommodating. He personally went around to each of the tables at breakfast the morning after our stays to ask us how our stay was and if there was anything he could do to accommodate us further. I really appreciated his care! Overall this was a great hotel for a good rate! Thank you!

We booked our stay here because it was a Best Western "Plus". Expected better than what we had. The hotel is a great location for getting toTanglewood, about a 10-15 minute drive, with they tell you about. The room was clean, bur just not that comfortable, very low toilet, great for young children, not for seniors. Beds were very firm, all the pillows were very full, 4 pillows on each, but all the same.AC was noisy, frequently kicking on and off. Room was also noisy, we could hear conversations from other rooms, and the hallway. Breakfast was decent, but the eating area is very tight

We stayed there for 3 nights at the end of June while attending a Hancock Shaker Village event; but we also went to other locales. The staff was incredibly helpful and cheery, the room was very clean, with a really nice big overstuffed chair, and nice conveniences such as coffee maker. I was very appreciate of the fact that one of the windows slid open so that we could enjoy the lovely Berkshires evening air instead of relying of closed in AC - really nice. I only wish it had a pool for the hot afternoon we had off or at least a shaded patio for sitting outdoors. There was a bench out front. The hotel, we stayed on the first floor facing the road, was remarkable quiet given this fact. It was a bit high priced until you consider that it's in the Berkshires and the excellent location.

Found Best Western after checking out of the Lenox Inn nightmare. The lobby has 24 hour coffee. Breakfast was standard but fresh. Bed was comfortable and my room was clean. There is no pool/spa but I would stay here again.

Just like we expected, this is another great Best Western property. We didn't have to worry about our rooms or the amenities when we got there. Free coffee 24/7 in the lobby and a staff that could not do enough for us. Wonderful place to stay.

Returned from Dinner with large group of kids. Hall reeked of Marijuana. Front desk informed. Nothing ever done. Smell permiatted all night and in morning into rooms. NON SMOKING HOTEL...Stay away people. Very disappointed.

My friend and I were stopping in on our way to a social conference. We booked a double room, but when we got there they had upgraded us to a king suite, so we each had our "own" space, which was really nice. The room was HUGE. I wish we had gotten in earlier to enjoy it. We basically just went straight to bed. My only problem was, while I loved getting my own space (one of us snores), the double bed in the separate room was terribly uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well at all. Friend had no complaints about the king bed :) Breakfast was standard, but the space was clean and they opened up a conference room when it got crowded with a college track team. We felt that overall, the hotel provided a positive service.

I found the room to be very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were very helpful with check in and check out. I my only issue was with the set up for breakfast with not a lot of room to move around. I also wish there was more of a selection for breakfast cereals.

This is our 2nd stay @ this Best Western and loved it. Clean, and close to all Berkshire attractions. Friendly efficient staff and a great breakfast. We stayed in the king deluxe. We have stayed at hotels costing 2/3x's where there's no free breakfast, you have to pay for parking and the staff is not as nice. This is a superior value for the money!

Stayed here over the weekend and although it was clean and location was convenient the hotel lacked the size that I'm used to in other Best Western Plus'. The breakfast was good however the size of the eating area was cramped and when you're dealing with lots of people it makes it not so enjoyable to eat in peace. The rooms were clean but again not very spacious. Bathroom area was cramped. Parking was also lacking when the hotel is full. I'm surprised this classifies as a BWP.

I was here for my sister's funeral. The staff here were excellent, understanding and very helpful. The place is clean, comfortable and a great bargin. It really is nice to stay at a place where people take pride in their work. All the staff are, well dressed, caring, polite, helpful and thoughtful. You should be proud. Thank you Sue Barber

Really enjoyed my stay at the BW in Pittsfield. The location was great and has several restaurants pretty close by. Staff was very friendly and caring. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Breakfast options were good.

Clean and neat! Good and friendly staff. But room only had 2 double beds not queen, We had to get a cot the second night! I have 13 year old twin boys so double beds are not going to work. The cot was not very comfortable!

Don't be frightened by review showing view from room looking into a driveway. A house at the far corner of hotel only. Private somewhat rural setting, short drive to restaurants etc. Room was clean, breakfast was good and hotel staff helpful and friendly.

My wife an I needed a vacation away and although it was only 2 nights, it was the best we had had since June of 2018 when we were on our honeymoon. I felt comfortable right away and Jim (who was working the front desk but don't know his last name) was nice and cared about how our stay/experience.The room we had was better than we hoped. Jim upgraded us when he heard there was a dirty cup in our first room. The upgrade was an amazing gesture. We slept like babies and the noise level was never an issue.

We enjoyed our stay on 2 occasions: a September 2018 wedding in Lanesborough and a Christmas Eve 2018 family get-together in Pittsfield. Very friendly front desk check-in/check-out, ample parking, easy uber transportation, peaceful setting, cleanliness/comfort of room, & delicious breakfast support this review!

We were out for my daughters baby shower. I travelled from Boston with my wife and granddaughter and I had my sisters from Pittsburgh and CT coming in as well. we had two, two bedroom suites and it could not have been cozier or more enjoyable. We all had a very nice time and will definitely return.

Heading across western Mass and into New York, I stopped here early, due to torrential rains that wore me out. The room was large and comfortable and clean. The desk folks were helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was very good. Only complaint: the bathroom light was the dimmest in the entire room.

Clean and comfortable room, helpful staff, some road noise from the main road opposite the hotel. otherwise no problems. Located to the south-east of Pittsfield just out of town; stop-over hotel for driving down the picturesque route 7, this hotel was ideal. Staff recommended Mazzeos for an evening meal, which was an excellent choice. BW breakfast in the morning.

We stayed for three nights in a king suite. Room was very clean with lots of room. Only thing my wife didn't like was the sink was outside the bathroom. Breakfast was very good and one of the few BWs that serves whole milk. Along with the normal items they had bacon and sausage every day and hard boiled eggs still in the shell which my wife raved about. The staff was caring and helpful especially the general manager Bohdan Lawriw. He went out of his way to make sure we and the other guests enjoyed their stay. He would greet people in the breakfast area and offer a taste of his home brewed coffee. I even saw him assist a guest getting their luggage into the car. The Shaker village is just down the road and the Norman Rockwell museum approx 25 minutes away. A restaurant we found with great food reasonably price and with a very pleasant and friendly staff was The Roasted Garlic just 2 miles down the road. Would definitely stay there again when in that area. A very pleasant three days.

Exceeded our expectations. Large room with all the usual facilities you might expect Front desk staff extremely helpful/ welcoming Has small gym open 18 hours a day (did not use it, but a nice extra facility) Breakfast- full range of options including eggs, sausage, crispy bacon, waffles, cereals, fruit, toast, pastries, yoghurt- if you chose, you could stock up at breakfast. time and not need to eat again on the same day. I am quite a hearty breakfast eater myself but it did me good to see that birdlike ladies of mature years could put it away in case of famine conditions striking the New England area imminently

Pros: -it was clean...enough. -room had an easy chair with an ottoman. -our check in guy was nice. -cheap Cons: -property located well outside Pittsfield in residential area. Weird spot for a motel. -small room -claustrophobic bathroom. -no hairdryer -terrible breakfast. I think waffle batter was spoiled. My wife couldn't eat her eggs. Conclusion: -there must be better places, at similar prices, than this in Pittsfield area.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel over a dozen times since 2013. We always get the jacuzzi suite with the exception of once because both rooms were booked. We were highly disappointed with the cleanliness of the standard room (spiderwebs, dust, odor, maintenance issues). We waited over a year and decided to give this hotel a try again since it was upgraded to a best western plus...we booked the jacuzzi suite. The only plus about this is the prices went up but the rooms are the same! They are in need of updates (wallpaper peeling, mattress is worn out, spiderwebs hanging above picture near the bed and traveling above the bed). I used the long decorative pillow to knock it down. The window seals are dirty, moldy looking even. I recommend pull down shades for all rooms but especially the first floor room. From the jacuzzi, the curtain has this little corner that I felt someone could peep through. The housekeeper seemed to do a good job with basic cleaning but I think the rooms should be dusted more thoroughly especially in the corners, no one wants spiderwebs where the sleep and the fact this happened twice in two separate rooms was a huge turnoff. The staff was pleasant, breakfast I didn't even bother this time but usually it's good. The plus needs to be removed from the name if it has the same old basic stuff. My favorite chair was even missing from the suite in room 117.

We had an excellent stay at this location. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel and the breakfast was amazing. Quite and relaxed atmosphere. We stay every here at this hotel on our way to Boston and NewYork. The management and entire staff are very pleasant folks.

We stayed 1 night on the way to our destination. It's a very nice, clean and well located hotel. It was a gem of a find! The room was very nice, the front desk staff was excellent and as a Best Western Platinum customer, we were treated very well!

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a performance at the Barrington Stage company. Although, I would have preferred the option for just one night- two nights were required as they are for most hotels in the area during the summer season. Our room (two room suite) was very nice. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. We did have some issue with children jumping off the bed above us until 11:30 p.m., however, a call to the front desk resulted in that noise stopping.Our room was clean. There was a large breakfast area (although we went out for breakfast) and coffee, etc was available at all times (even with flavored syrups).The hotel is close to all attractions in the area. I would suggest considering this hotel for your stay in the area.

We've stayed here often over the years, staff is always friendly and professional. Minor issue this time.. no shampoo or conditioner in our room, the breakfast is OK, wish there were more healthier options. Heard people saying, no syrup for the waffles, no bowls for the cereal..this issue was corrected the next morning. I realize it was a busy time..Tanglewood on Parade was going on, seems the staff should have anticipated that. A/C was noisy in our room.

Our family of 3 stayed here for a trip to Berkshires and Tanglewood. The location is a few miles outside of downtown Pittsfield. It is very convenient location to visit all the nearby sights. We stayed in a family suite, which is very spacious. The main room has 2 Queen plus a sofa bed, the second room has a king bed. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Breakfast is decent.

We often stay at this Inn (once in the summer and once at Christmas) and have never been disappointed. The front desk staff is unfailingly polite, friendly, courteous and helpful. We travel with my 89-year old mother and they have been so helpful and have shown us rooms with showers for those who may be physically challenged by a regular shower. Their breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, with a good assortment of cereals, hot meals and great coffee. The rooms are always clean and up-to-date and if there are any issues, they are very quick to correct them. It's not the most inexpensive place to stay, but they do have good deals, especially if you stay there often, or belong to AAA, etc. I recommend that you give it a try and I believe, like us, you will be a return customer.

I was traveling to the Berkshires for a weekend around a geocaching event to visit with some friends from the east coast. The hotel was up to the standards I expect from a Best Western Plus property. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Ample choices were offered at breakfast. The price seemed fair given the prices of other properties in the area. Only problem I ran into was that the WiFi adapter on my laptop was acting up that weekend and the wired ports appear to no longer be connected, but that is the first time in nearly 10 years I have attempted to hook in with a wire at a hotel.

After a long day of traveling, we found this property to be very welcoming and comfortable. The room was large and clean. Big screen TV. As another reviewer commented, the elevator inspection is out of compliance. (It worked). Breakfast was OK. Staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed on a Sunday evening so it was fairly quiet with no disturbances. It's just two miles to the Shaker Village from the hotel.

Have stayed here numerous times while in the area for personal reasons.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean! Breakfast was adequate, but I am not a big breakfast person, so that may have something to do with my idea about breakfast.

Disappointed in my stay. Elevator felt like it was going to break and when I looked the inspection was expired (see photo) 6/18 while trying to relax I had to listen to jackhammering all day as they were demolishing the cement floor in the laundry room on my floor. I wasn't given the courtesy of a discounted rate or even notification that this would be going on, just had to tolerate it all while paying regular rates for my room Breakfast is served daily but I'll say it's probably the worst I've had in a hotel. The eggs tasted terrible. I made a waffle and the batter was dry. I didn't even know that was possible. Prior to checking in you're sent an email to have the option to check in digitally. It gives you timed to select as well as other options. I selected my time (an earlier check in) and drove to the hotel only to find out they knew nothing about this. When I finally went back to check in after 3 as they requested, I still didn't get my room on the top floor close to the elevator. Just a frustrating stay all around. Walls are very thin. I had a loud neighbor who was up very late at night with friends in the room and a loud tv, you can hear everything.

Clean, friendly, quiet stay. Couldn't have asked for more esp for the price.the room was clean and at a comfy temp. I basically only came to stay the night after visiting with my girlfriends family and left first thing in the morning.

Found this was a very nice place. Just on the outside of downtown Pittsfield. Very reasonably priced. Quiet clean and very friendly. Has a very nice breakfast setup, the wifi has no issues. Room was clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again when I go back to the area.

A clean and comfortable hotel with great breakfast and friendly staffs! The building is old but very clean and well maintained. The beds are are good The internet connection is not always working as expected.

Stayed here for one night because we got a late start on the way to williamstown Motel was newish, pretty clean. Bed was good and firm, but the pillows were less than desirable (too thin, too soft ). Breakfast was very good (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle, yoghurt) and the coffee was also very good. Only real complaint was the noise transmission througth the motel; we didn't notice it in the evening because everyone was probably asleep when we arrived, but if someone coughed anywhere in the building you could hear them.

Good value but basic cleanliness (bathroom wasn't completely clean). Beds comfortable and breakfast was decent. Best to stay on top floor since all walls and floors! are paper thn. Overall good value though.

I spend 30+ nights a year in hotels for work. I have only written one previous poor review for a hotel. The place is clean and safe. The staff is nice as well as the room. BUT the main reason I am at a hotel is for a bed and sleep. I walked in at 10PM to hear the snoring next door so loud I could hear it over the TV. I thought about asking to switch rooms but didn't want to be a jerk. I had to keep the TV on to help mask the snoring. At 5:15 I wake up to the room above walking back & forth. It sounded like elephants. The light fixtures in the ceiling were rattling. For some reason the people walked around for an hour. It is impossible to sleep here if you end up with people noisy or for some reason walking above you. After little sleep and a 12 hour day at work, I have a 2.5 hour ride home tonight that I hope I can stay awake for. Nice hotel but no guarantee of sleep. I paid more for a "chain name" but wish I stayed at a local motor inn now and will next year I am in the Pittsfield area.

I was pleased with this hotel. The rooms seemed like they were recently updated. There was no stale smoke smell, either. The room was quiet, large, and nice, with a king-sized bed, and a separate area with a pull-out couch. There was also a refrigerator in the room. The lobby area has free coffee and tea available all day. The breakfast in the morning was standard - make-your-own waffles, a large pot of oatmeal, bagels & toast, yogurt, coffee. The only negative is that there were no bottles of water in the room. We stayed here as a base for hiking at Mt Greylock - about 25-35 minutes away, depending on the trail.

staff are very friendly, facilities are nice, and prices are reasonable. I have stayed there for 6 years and they are very friendly to me and are able to offer the lowest possible price. Breakfast is served in the lobby area and the quality is good.

No frills, clean rooms, extremely nice workers who are willing to help with whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. It's not the Cranwell Lodge but the service and functionality is up there with the best.

Check-in was great; staff was professional and helpful. The room (pet friendly room) was small for a BW Plus and is in need of updating. The carpeting was badly stained in several places, etc. I'm thinking that pet friendly rooms should have tile flooring!!!

I usually stay at this Best Western Plus when I visit the Berkshires. This is my 4th year in a row and the property is great as usual. The GM Bo is always on site when I visit and a pleasure to talk to. He mentioned they have started some new bathroom renovations and showed me a staged room. Looking forward to staying in one of the new rooms upon my next stay!

Standard Hotel chain that goes out of its way to give you something special. Extremely clean rooms, larger than you would expect. Very knowledgeable check in staff gets you keys in hand in half the time of other places. Free breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice etc.

We were a group of 4 friends on a reunion weekend. The fireplace suite was ideal for us. Plenty of beds, 2 t vs, a warm fireplace, fridge, microwave, very large room. The front desk staff helped in many ways....extra bedding...towels...bottle opener....restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was ok but plentiful with many options. Anytime we needed anything, they arrived with at our door in minutes. Would absolutely stay here again.

My reservation had to be made at the last minute and involved a possible discount. The staff member found the necessary documentation and made sure I understood about the confirmation number. Each staff person at the front desk made us feel welcome. The room was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping had forgotten to leave sweetener and creamer, but other than that I would definitely return.

Friendly staff. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfy. Impressed by the quality of the buffet breakfast. Pretty good for this range of hotel. Only downside are thin walls and there was a guy in the room next to us yelling and swearing on the phone very early. Would use this place again.

Stayed 2 nights here on a New England "Fall" trip. It's a good hotel with a welcoming receptionist. Rooms are spacious with small bathroom and separate hand basin. Fridge and microwave are provided. There is a good armchair in the room too. Coffee is available in the lobby. Breakfast is good with hot items provided. The location is not ideal for shopping and restaurants and Pittsfield is a 3 mile drive away. The town itself is rather dull and industrial with a limited selection of restaurants. We ate in an Indian restaurant the first night and an expensive Malaysian one on the second night. A reputable Italian restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist but we chose not to eat there. This hotel is located about 2 miles from the Hancock Shaker Village...well worth a visit but allow about 3 hours to do it justice!

My husband and I wanted to do a few days of foliage viewing mid October, yet did not want to spend a fortune. This hotel in Pittsfield was in a perfect location between the higher priced Williamstown and Stockbridge, yet easy access to both for foliage and fine museums. We were entirely satisfied and did not break the bank. Hotel was quiet, very friendly, good beds, adequate breakfast, and fridge and microwave in the room so we could have small meals and avoid high restaurant costs. Highly recommend. One tip - when I called for reservations, front desk advised that they were sold out, yet the BW website had availability. This is a quirk of how the reservation systems work, so be advised to try different options when seeking a room.

We stayed at the best western for a day while visiting the area .it is perfectly situated near the Rockwell museum and villages in the area.The front desk were friendly and helpful to our questions we had. The breakfast was good.The only complaint we had was the noise you can hear from other rooms. You can hear other tv's and people talking.

Overall a good stay. The room was clean with no smell and the bed very comfortable. Service was very good. I mentioned that the toilet was running a little but there was no noise - just wasting water. It was fixed the next day. The motel as a whole was clean although the elevator could use a little attention. The location was a little out of the way - about 4 or 5 miles from downtown Pittsfield. Staff was friendly. Price seemed slightly high but it was high season for leaf peepers.

Best Western in Pittsfield has always been our place to stay. Great staff, clean and updated, great complimentary breakfast! Have stayed at several others in the area and always appreciate the Best Western as a favorite.

We stayed at this hotel because it was near the Ashuwillticook bike trail. Good basic hotel. Was very clean and the room was spacious. Liked that there was a microwave in the room. Good normal free breakfast.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Pittsfield (October 2017) for 2 nights. Christopher at the front desk took great care of us and provided world class customer service during our stay, (checking us in, storing our bikes, recommending restaurants and sights to see to name a few..). The hotel was clean, bed comfortable and price was right. Breakfast was so so. The eggs were not good (even my wife who eats my cooking through her eggs out), no fat free milk available, coffee was not hot as a few examples). We arrived back late on Sunday after being out all day. Our room was not made up i.e. no housekeeping. As it was late evening we did not call and wait for hosuekeeping as we wanted to get to bed My wife made the bed and we reused the dirty towels. Overall notwithstanding breakfast and housekeeping we had a good stay and again special kudos to Christopher Would have rated 3 stars but raised it to 4 star due to Christopher's great service.

The more we stay at Best Western Plus hotels, the more we like them. This one in Pittsfield had it all. An excellent hotel. Highly recommend. You will be satisfied with their service, rooms, and professional and courteous manner.

I came with my husband and niece to stay the night before having surgery at Berkshire Medical Center. My niece and husband stayed one additional night. There was nothing that was not excellent about our stay.The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I always appreciate simple in room amenities and it was nice to have a refrigerator. Staff were professional and friendly. We had an excellent stay.

My husband and I were traveling cross country back to California after having attended 2 weddings in MA. We had stopped at numerous hotels from Lee to Pittsfield only to be turned away because of our small dog. We finally contacted Best Western and was told that they did indeed take pets! We were visiting family in Lee so we're hoping to find a place closer. Our room was so comfortable and reasonably priced that we stayed an extra night.

We stayed for 1 night and had a good nights sleep. Mattress was a bit firm, room was clean, shower pressure was great, free breakfast was good, but in comparison to another BW Plus we stayed at, the attention to small details was lacking, mostly in bathroom. Holes in wall where they changed placement of towel bar, door frame was coming apart, tile floor had marks on it and the selection of bathroom towels included one that was rough and the other 2 were a mix of rough and soft. Would not have commented on these if we hadn't stayed at another Plus in July which was excellent. When asked, the Manager did say they were due for a renovation (indoor pool planned). Bottom line, good and reasonable priced place to stay in the Berkshires.

We were pleasantly greeted at check in. The hotel looks newly renovated. The rooms were large enough, with comfortable beds, very clean, pillows that smelled new, with a refrigerator and microwave in the room. They did offer quite a bit of choices at the continental breakfast the next morning even for picky eaters like me. . We had looked at many hotels within a one hour drive and this seemed to be the best hotel for the best value that we could find so I would recommend it if you are in the area.

The Best Western was just average but clean given its an older BW. We chose that location to visit the Hancock Shaker Village so served our purpose. We toured the area from our 2-night stay and enjoyed some beautiful countryside. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. We had just come from a brand new BW in Troy NY which was ultra modern. We would stay at this BW if we waned to visit that area again. Check-in clerk was especially friendly and accommodating.

very good overnight stay in the middle of a road trip. clean room, comfortable bed not too soft or hard. friendly staff and great price. arrived late at night and left very early so did not try breakfast however coffee was available 24 hours.

Well operated, clean and pleasant property with great amenities. Free wife, free parking and free breakfast make this a great place to stay. Helpful and pleasant front office staff. Limited food available in area.

The room smelled so strongly of cleaning chemicals that we had to sleep with the windows open all night, and our clothes stunk the next day. Although we smelled cleaner, all of the furniture was covered in dust. Will not return.

The hotel is extremely comfortable and is located in beautiful country setting. Nevertheless, it is only a few short minutes from local attractions and downtown Pittsfield, MA. The staff were were very warm and helpful.

We stayed at a nice Best Western hotel that was relatively inexpensive and in a good location. The staff was very helpful. Their breakfast was much better than continental breakfasts, although the breakfast nook had items crowded together. I hope that they are able to find a way to fix this. Altogether, we experienced no problems and enjoyed our time there.

We have stayed here several nights now over the past few years and were pleased to see newly renovated rooms. Also the breakfast bar was very much improved. It now features a waffle maker and much better hot food options.

Best Western in Pittsfield, Mass. is a great place to stay for Tanglewood or other places in Stockbridge area. The rates are reasonable and the free breakfast is great! Book well in advance of your planned stay.

We have been staying here for the past 3 years and it still is our first choice. The location is almost equidistant to Tanglewood and the many art museums in the area. The breakfast is good although the room can get crowded. The service is great. This year the host was delivering french press coffee to your table. Need I say more?

Hotel as expected. One snag was having what looked like beard trimmings on a clean bed. Front desk took care of it. A pool would be nice for the price and there is really no offseason between Tanglewood and ski season. Staff is very professional and do care about customers.

We are familiar with the Best Western brand. Our purpose was to go to Tanglewood for 2 nights and this property was about 20 mins. to the events. The value for price paid was good, although it would have been nice to have had freshly made muffins or cinnamon rolls on offer at breakfast, rather than packaged run-of-the-mill sweet rolls. Decor is a bit on the gray side; could use a face-lift!

Reasonable option for the area. This is an older hotel so to not expect perfection in the rooms, but they have tried to keep it clean. Overall rooms were fine, nothing fancy. Clean with two beds, comfortable. Older bathroom but it was fine. Breakfast was better than average for a continental (included hot options) ... pretty good and I liked that they kept it open until 10:30 am. A 10 minute drive from Pittsfield, very close to the various theatre companies and also 20 minutes from Tanglewood. Overall, it was fine.

Definitely would return to this hotel, great location for our visit. The facility and the staff very comfortable and very efficient. The location and the overall quality were very satisfying. Look forward to staying with them again.

The location was fine. The breakfast was very good. The carpet and light switch in our room had reddish-stains that were very visible (and gross) No pool. I felt like we overpaid and would stay someplace else in the future.

A relatively new and quite attractive standard kind of inn in a quiet location on Route 20 outside Pittsfield. 15 minutes to Tanglewood, 15 minutes to Audubon's Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Good breakfast with long hours (6:30 to 10:30, but it was actually available at least by 6:15). Nice rooms, friendly staff.

Needed a last minute hotel and stopped here for the night. Desk person was excellent, very polite and helpful. Room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Nice refreshments in the lobby 24hrs, and an excellent breakfast.

We stayed for two nights, very nice staff. Very clean hotel large rooms very comfortable beds. The price was pretty fair as well. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a very quite area. We all slept well. Would return...no problem!

I stayed here with family, 2 adults and 2 children. The room was huge, with a separate king bed in a master bedroom, and two full beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. The location was very central for exploring the Berkshires. The staff was courteous. The whole family found breakfast satisfying, including a gluten-free child. Would definitely return.

We take a Berkshire vacation each summer and we like staying at this hotel. The location is central, Williamstown (Clark) is north, Tanglewood (BSO) is south & Stockbridge ( Rockwell) is nearby. The breakfast are sensible and the fruit is usually good. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is a little off the Rt 7 traffic so it is possible to travel to & from without delays. There is an excellent exercise room and no pool. No screaming kids!

This wasn't our first and it won't be our last. We stay here every year when we drop off and pick up my daughter from at Camp Danbee. Staff is awesome. Rooms are super clean. Beds are comfy. Very close to camp!

Upon check in we were greeted by two great employees. I asked about storing our two bikes somewhere inside rather than in my room or on my car. They found a locked spot inside the building for them. Just fantastic!! Shower had great water pressure, bed was decent, room was clean, stayed on third floor. Breakfast was basic but covered the bases. About three miles outside of downtown, but worked for me!

After a pleasant visit to this location in 2016, we returned this year and it did not disappoint. Clean, well appointed rooms. Decent breakfast. Jim at front desk very helpful & welcoming. Bo treated all to French press coffee in the breakfast room. We'll be back next year.

I selected this hotel for location, location, location, price and because I get BW rewards. The weekday rates were fair, lowest for a medium-sized hotel vs. small the motels or higher priced B & Bs. The rate did sky-rocket when I asked to add a night (Sat.) to the previously booked 2 nights (Sun. and Mon.). However, the staff was nice enough to call back and offer a lower rate by about $56. which made me feel better! Having said that it was not ski or fall season so for a room over $130. some things were average. The breakfast buffet had enough food, but the scrambled eggs tasted grainy and strange. When I selected a "hard-boiled" egg instead and cracked it open it was a raw egg! The staff apologized and stated someone forgot to boil the eggs before putting them out! The bacon was a bit thin and undercooked but 2 types of sausage, lots of bread, waffles, cereal, yoghurt and some fruit were al available. My family and I enjoyed the Melville Museum, the Mount, Lenox and Tanglewood all within a few mile drive. This BW did not have a pool-which I failed to noticed when booked-but there is a big space out back that could accommodate one (hint hint). Also, there was not decent outside seating area other than 2 tables with no umbrellas for the sun. This would have been nice after running around all day to sit and have our cocktails outside. The staff (Bo) was friendly and provided information about the area, but alas he couldn't find any umbrellas for the outside tables.

This medium priced hotel is well located for the Pittsfield area and a very easy drive to most Berkshire attractions like Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Mass Moca, Rockwell and other Museums, several professional theaters, etc. About a 3 hr drive from NYC through beautiful tree lined roads. Hotel itself is well maintained, staff is very competent and friendly, rooms are large and comfortable. Stayed here before and will again.

nice hotel, reasonably priced for a weekday, convenient location to Barrington Stage Company and half hour from Clark Institute in Williamsburg. Nice rooms, good breakfast, and not great but reasonable fitness center. Overall good experience.

The 3 of us booked a room July 3. Like most of the people in the area, we were here for James Taylor at Tanglewood. We booked a room with 3 twin beds. We didn't know what to expect? We checked in at 1:00, way before check in. They were happy to accommodate us. We were pleasantly surprised to find 2 queen beds in 1 room and a King in the second. An amazing suite for the bargain price of $275. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from Tanglewood. I highly recommend this property.

We visited for one night for our anniversary. The hotel was a little less than we expected in its initial view but our check in person was very nice and upgraded us to a fireplaced suite when he learned it was our anniversary. The room was decent but not luxurious and everything worked well. This room needs to be updated as it is tired and not clean enough for my standards. The bed wasn't uncomfortable but it wasn't super comfortable although the bedding was nice and fresh. Breakfast was sparse but you won't starve. Again, the personnel were wonderful. They were friendly and helpful and nice to talk with.

Exceptionally nice staff. Very friendly and talkative. Average hot continental breakfast. Rooms were very clean. The bed was average with lots of pillows. The shower pressure was pretty good. TV channel selection was really good. The only downfall was that the highway noise was a little loud but traffic did slow down late at night.

We stayed here to be close to Tanglewood for an evening concert. Booked through tripadvisor, and they handled the voucher no problem. Coffee / tea / water available 'round the clock. Breakfast is included and had hot items (eggs, bacon, sausage patties, breakfast sandwich fixings, oatmeal, waffle maker), cereals, fruits, yogurt. Food was fine, not gourmet for sure, but it did the trick. Room was clean with two double beds, small table, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer. Sink outside of bathroom. I could hear muddled noises from other rooms, but not very loud at all, and it was overall quite quiet. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with recommendations for places to get food and running routes. Would definitely stay again for Tanglewood or other Berkshires activities.

When we arrived for our 2 night stay, our bathroom had hair all over the bathroom floor and in the bathtub. Once we reported it, management was very aplogetic and upgraded our stay to a better & larger room.

This hotel was well maintained. The rooms were very clean and well cared for. The beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was fresh, and tasty, with more than enough to choose from.

Late arrival stopover on our way to Plymouth. Arrived late 9.30pm so didn't see anything of the area but had a great nights sleep. Most comfortable nights sleep of our entire trip, very spacious room. Left in the morning in after breakfast. Very welcoming staff and service. Thank you.

The room was acceptable, the breakfast was ok, the usual hotel stuff, nothing exceptional. Quite a bit of road noise from Route 20. Still overall, a pleasant stay. The staff is very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Pittsfield and major Berkshire County routes.

This is a great hotel which is centrally located for a lot of places we wanted to visit. Already planning a return trip in October. It was comfortable and had a good breakfast. A free, hot breakfast is always on our list of amenities we look for.

My wife and I decided to spend a couple of days in the area after my niece's graduation in New London. I grew up in CT but she never saw the area. We rented a house via VRBO and for the 1st time in years we were disappointed. We needed a place to stay and the BW had a two room suite for us. It was clean, service fantastic, good free breakfast, and centrally located. I normally stay at fancier places but would consider staying in other BWs based on this experience. Hats off to a great crew.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past four years and are always happy with it. The staff is terrific. The accomodations are clean and comfortable. They continue to improve the breakfast offerings. We will always stay at this Best Western when we visit the Berkshires.

We stayed here for one night because our condo at Jiminy Peak wasn't ready. We arrived late in the evening and had no problem checking in. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was great with many different options and it was very close to the mountain.

Was there to perform tax return generation and seminary degree studies. Room was quiet, I had to leave early so didn't have time for breakfast. Room clean and staff professional and helpful. Will stay there again in the future.

After and arduous trip across the Mass Pike, driving into this Best Western was a pleasure. Jim the Front Desk Fellow was more than cordial and we we promptly in the room. Jim also had a dinner recommendation that turned out well. The hotel is immaculate and well provisioned. The facility has an old feel to it yet is well maintained. We nicknamed the elevator as it is a tad noisy, humor comes in peculiar ways. The complimentary breakfast is a nice combination. If you do not wish to deal with the awkward breakfast room behaviour of some of the guests, a great diner is just east of the hotel. The room is quite comfortable, again exceptionally maintained. The hotel is a bit of a way from town center, not walk-able. Rooms on the south side facing the highway have a modicum of traffic noise, quite tolerable. All staff members were gracious... an excellent hotel.

My sisters and I go to the Berkshires twice a year for our Sister's Getaway Weekends and this past weekend, we booked a "suite" at this hotel. I've rented suites before and thought I knew what to expect but I was extremely unimpressed in the Best Western's version of one. It was really just an extended room - a large area with two queen beds and another room with a king bed. The larger room had a sleeper sofa which ends up giving you sleeping accommodations for seven. Now all this may sound great - the ability to sleep seven people - but there was only one small (and I mean SMALL) bathroom, one small sink, and one mirror. That's just nuts. So I really can't recommend a suite unless no one cares what they look like or wants to take a shower in the morning. What I loved about the place was their incredible customer service. When we arrived, Jim G. at the front desk explained that I had booked two suites, not one like I thought. I booked the room from their website but the reservations were really made through Expedia which is sometime problematic when trying to get a refund. Jim took the time to call Expedia, explain the situation, and work with them until they guaranteed me a refund for one of the rooms. After we got to the room, we realized there was no bedding for the sleeper and Jim took care of that immediately. He was really calm and patient with each guest that came to the lobby or who called to the desk. Great guy. This particular Best Western provides a very nice complimentary breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, juice, coffee, DIY waffles, etc. If we had to find a breakfast place for all of us, the cost would have exceeded the price of the room so this was a great savings. And who doesn't love make-your-own waffles? If you're in the Pittsfield area, this is a really good choice. And if you stop in, tell Jim we said hi!

Overall, a great hotel experience. We stayed two nights and the highlights were the comfy beds and pillows, and the excellent breakfast. Next time I am traveling through this area I will definitely be staying here again!

Staff is great and room is very comfortable. You can get delivery to the hotel because there are not a whole bunches of place immediately near the hotel. The room was clean smelling and overall very clean. Recommend the hotel to anyone that needs to stay in the Pittsfield area.

My husband and I are leaf-peepers, and we needed a hotel for one night in the Berkshires area. We loved our room, and the staff was courteous and helpful. There was a loud rumbling sound at night, which we figured out was a nearby train station. But with windows closed, it was no problem at all.

If you stay at this hotel make sure you are not in room 209. Our bedroom was right over the side door, every time someone opened it through the night it would slam shut. Thus waking us up. We could hear every 4 letter word that was said from the room right above us. The manager was great when we told him what was going on in the room upstairs.

We stayed here to hike and explore the area. The room rate was a little high due to the beginning of foliage season, but was the most reasonably priced for the area. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful, and the 24-hour coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and seems like it was updated within the past few years. We did not have a suite, but the king room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but it was nice having the sink outside of the bathroom. The mini fridge in the room was handy too. Breakfast was good and there was a wide variety of options. The location is convenient for driving to several nearby points of interest. We enjoyed Williamstown, Lenox, and the lodge atop Mt. Greylock.

Stayed for 1 night, booked the 2 bedroom suite. On arrival, noted that there was the property manager's house directly connected to the back of the hotel. View out of my room was of his front door and inside his garage. Apparently a racing fan, with a new baby. No pool to speak of, back of hotel faces woods, front faces a simple 2 lane highway, but property is set back off the road a bit. Smoking area is out back, a small patio with a metal pail. Lobby is smaller than my living room at home. 1 couch. Front desk pleasant, hard working, long shift. Same person on the entire time I stayed. Good coffee available free in lobby 24h. Breakfast area small, food selection is a little better than basic, and even OK for the Vegan people. Room was large, but it really was like a larger hotel room with Bed and livingroom area all together, bathroom access, and then a second small separate bedroom with TV. The guest in that second room has to cross the larger room to use restroom in the night. They had a quaint little gas fireplace, which was a nice touch. We brought our own travel bar (recommended), so no hotel bar wasn't a problem. Hotel seems a ways outside of Pittsfield proper, almost halfway on the road to Albany. Quiet, although a railroad track about a half mile away through the woods. Unfortunately, can't hear the train noise. Not a destination hotel, but OK for a night if you get a good rate.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were very happy with the overall experience. The desk staff were excellent (top marks to Bu) and gave us much helpful information. On one evening we had a problem with our refrigerator and the TV. By the time we had returned to our room a couple of hours later the desk clerk confirmed that everything was now OK and that he had fixed things himself ! We stayed at a couple of Best Westerns on this trip and were very impressed with the overall standard of accommodation and staff.

The room was nice, what can you say, it had all of the amenities required for a Best Western Inn. The staff was really helpful with dining suggestions, and local sights to see. Really though, the parking strip was full of six ft. tall sunflowers! Just a crazy thing, but we loved it!

Best western seems to be making a huge effort to retool their properties and step up their game. I have stayed at 4 different locations for both business and leisure in the past year and each was excellent in both the facilities and staff. I highly recommend Best Western for both business and leisure travel. I have also found their rewards program useful and have received several significant discounts because of my many nights staying at their properties.

Good value, good breakfast, and the room was a nice size. Our room faced the highway so it was a bit noisy at times. To counter this we set the thermostat to run the fan continuously, which did the trick. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

The front desk people were friendly and efficient and found the best price for us, Entry way was attractive and the room was clean and looked fresh. Coffee is advertised for all day long and is available at the front desk and in the breakfast room. At 7:15 Sunday morning both places had room temperature coffee and when told about it they said OK but in 15 minutes the same cold coffee was still there.

Great restaurant near by. we were there only one night on our overall trip so you need to stay longer to take in the small towns and all their amenities!!

I do not understand the negative reviews as they sound like a different hotel to the one experienced. Our welcome was warm and the room was big, spotless and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Yes the bathroom has 2 parts however we did not find that a problem at all. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise - freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage. This was constantly replenished and yummy. The porridge with extras was also very good. My only request would be for plain natural yogurt. Compared to other hotels we found this breakfast amazing in both quality and price - it's complimentary. Located a few miles from the town means it is very quiet and an easy drive to restaurants and place of interest.

This hotel is conveniently located on the fringe of Pittsville. The property is quiet, the service is excellent, and the breakfast has a fresh assortment of both hot and cold foods. The rooms are clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel offers a business center and a fitness center.

I chose this property for the relatively reasonable price in an expensive area. Front desk welcome was nice and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition. No complaints there. I would echo the previous review regarding the breakfast area being way too small and poorly laid out, uncomfortable to use. The location felt out of the way. This made for a quiet night, but no services nearby.

Okay but over priced. Internet was not functional during our one day stay. Breakfast area layout too small for large number of guests. Food nothing special. No complimentary newspapers. No pool. Pretty far from central Pittsfield.

the bathroom in our hotel room was gross. when i say gross i mean the shower head was molded, the tiles grout was all moldy and the soap holder was rusted. in addition the first room we were given smelled horribly of smoke, yet was listed as a non-smoking room. overall we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this establishment.

Stayed here a few times when visiting BSO in Lenox, MA. Always happy with our stay. The hotel is clean and up to date and the price still remains a great value. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast is far better than most hotels including the higher priced chains.

This Best Western is a very nice place to stay. My husband and I have family in the area and have stayed here on two separate occasions. The rooms are up to date, the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly. Great choice for the area, and located within 20 miles of many Berkshire Hills attractions.

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western in Pittsfield, MA. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the room was fine. However, the sound-proofing was non-existent. Our room was next to the Fitness Center and that was extremely noisy. Even after the Fitness Center closed, we could hear everything said by the guests in the room next door - and they weren't speaking loudly. That was the only negative in an otherwise fine stay.

Quite dated. Badly needs renovation. Everything is utilitarian. Bathroom in a suite was very poor and small, it was extremely dark with yellowish lights. Sink was outside the bathroom. TV picture quality was terrible. Elevator made lot of noise and looked like made in 1950s, same with the microwave. Lobby was dismal. Breakfast was especially poor. No potatoes. I have never seen hot american breakfast where they don't serve potatoes. No water bottles provided in the room. Surrounding area is not very good either. I would not recommend it.

Yes indeed this place is very nice indeed. Very clean, extremely friendly staff, and most important, no odd smells. You all know what I mean. Rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. If there was only one downfall it would be the breakfast. We went down two days in a row, only to find the same items each day, and worse of all, the waffle maker was not working properly. No matter how hard you tried it just wouldn't make a proper waffle. So we ate out for the rest of our stay. Set aside the breakfast portion and we had Avery nice stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Pittsfield area.

Very clean, basic rooms. Nicely landscaped surroundings, very centrally located and easy travel to many of the popular Berkshire attractions. When checking in we were greeted by a very friendly, cordial, informative duo. Breakfast is included in the price, but unfortunately not to our liking.

This was my first time to the Berkshire and to Tanglewood. The location was perfect. Only 10/15 minute drive to Tanglewood. We drove to the nearby towns like Great Barrington and Lenox which were both quaint towns w/ shops and restaurants. We had 2 double beds. We were in the second floor in the back of the building. It was nice and quiet. The room was spacious. Like the fact that the sink was outside the toilet and shower area. The bed and comforter were clean and comfy. The a/c worked well but it was so cool at night that we did not need to turn it on. Also the breakfast was ink used. Nothing fancy. But had eggs, sausage, Waffle and pastry. Nice tough to have water and coffee right in the lobby. Totally fine. This was a good place to stay. The price was also reasonable. The other hotels were about double the price.

Utilized a two room suite: quite comfy. Staff very friendly and supportive. Most poignant feature for a person with asthma. the hotel is very clean. Enjoyed a comfortable stay. Also, hotel conveniently located to Lenox and to Williamstown. Travel to Tanglewood quite easy.

We really enjoyed our stay here Beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean, staff was exceptional...Breakfast area had more choices then most places offering free breakfast.. As a family of 8 they let us use the breakfast room to just hang out after our day was over.. all 8 of us were very pleased..

My family with three teenagers really enjoyed staying in this hotel, which provided two double beds, a pullout couch, and an additional space with a king size bed. The only downside about the room was that the bathroom was quite small. The sink was outside the bathroom, but it was still a tight squeeze maneuvering to take a shower.

Good place to stay for a night or 2. We did an overnight after a concert at Tanglewood to do some touring of the area. It's a few miles out of town but within easy driving distance to the places we wanted to see the following day. Although not quite as nice as other BW Plus hotels that we've stayed at; for the area it would be hard to beat the price for the cleanliness & other expectations of a BW.

Staff very pleasant, rooms clean, modern, comfortable, quiet considering it is located on two lane highway. Not walkable to anything, a few miles outside of Pittsfield and 30 minutes to Tanglewood. No pool, guests basically use the hotel just for a night's sleep.

Great place to stay in the area, especially as there are no two night minimums, easily accessible to Lenox MA and in a quiet location. There is not much to do around the hotel but Lenox is about 10-15 minutes away. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly.

I am very picky about my hotels. This was fabulous for the price range. Clean comfy beds etc. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful It reminded me of being in the south! Our tv wasn't working at first and we had two people up immediately to fix it. The buffet breakfast we great. Normally these type of breakfasts can be a bit plastic. This was not. Coffee was incredibly good. Not weak dish water. Highly recommend!!

This hotel is about 3 miles from downtown, so you need to drive. It's fine- clean, friendly, decent rooms. I'm not sure why it's considered 'plus' as I didn't perceive it to be exceptional in any way. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was standard hotel breakfast and the rooms were standard also.

The Best Western was a pleasant but average hotel. We stayed last year in The Hampton Inn which was much nicer but picked this hotel for its lower price and different location. The hotel staff was the best feature, Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was fine except I really dislike when the sink is not in the bathroom. It is hard not to wake up the other person in the room. Also they really need a make-up mirror. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are really small. Breakfast was ok, I stay away from the hot items but my husband tried them and didn't like them. The price was right for mid-week but it gets really expensive for the weekend

Stayed June 27, 28 and would have stayed the 29th, as we prepaid for the room, but the jacuzzi had a leak they say they were unaware of. We realized it was leaking when 1. It wouldn't hold water, we had to keep filling it. We thought it was a problem with an ill fitting drain plug. 2. Discovered all of our clothes in the adjoining closet were soaked through. We brought our belongings in soft sided bags. Not liking to clutter up the room, I threw the bags and sneakers on the closet floor. On the morning of the 29th we noticed everything sopping wet, the water had wicked up through the carpet and into the bags, and my husband went and got the manager. Sunjay Desai apologized profusely. He offered us another room. Except we had no dry clothes, and were not going to spend the day washing and drying at a laundromat somewhere. We decided to forget it and go home. Mr. Desai OFFERED us points that would total a free night in a BW, as issuing a refund was very complicated. We were agreeable to taking the points. As of today July 18, we have been given NOTHING but a letter, sent in an attachment from the general manager Bo Lawriw, stating they had given us the points, but for some unknown reason customer care did not add them to my account and I should contact them. I have spoken to and emailed customer care who assure me they are looking into it. It is pretty sad that my last day was ruined and now I have to spend weeks on the phone, and emailing BW trying to get the compensation for a room that was OFFERED to me. I am still out $200 for the room and have never been treated so poorly in my life.

I was pleased to see the TV's were upgraded to digital but was displeased to see that the TV source was analog. That produced a distorted picture that blows up the analog picture to fill the screen with a bloated like quality. One other really bad problem was the sink in the room. When running the water the sink filled up and took 4 minutes to drain. Either no on else has complained about this clogged sink or the management did not care to fix it after a prior complaint.

Very clean, staff was cordial, breakfast was very good with many options. Very quiet. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Very nice laundry facility on floor. Non smoking was a very nice amenity. Will definitely recommend and would stay there again in the future.

This is a little bit further out of town, but the lower price makes up for that. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is clean, well maintained, and has a great breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was ready when I arrived. Very polite staff, clean facilities and positive engagement with all staff. I think that others who may want to explore the Shaker Village, see autumn leaves or just get away will enjoy their stay here.

This hotel was clean and very well kept! The staff was extremely friendly and cordial. The breakfast was great and the room was large and furnished very nicely. All in all a very nice place to stay! The only difficulty was there are very few places to eat! However the person at the desk gave us the name of a close sports bar which worked out great!

Not sure how this hotel earned the 'Plus' status - perhaps because of the super friendly and helpful staff? Otherwise, the hotel is small, older hotel that has been updated and cleaned well. Not so much a 'tree-lined-setting'.......somebody's house and driveway were right outside our window on the back-side of the hotel. If looking for a clean room for an overnight stay, this hotel is a good value.

I am out in the Bershires 4 times a year or so for business and have found this Best Western Plus to be a very good value for the money. It presents well, is clean and has an attentive staff. Bo, the Manager is a professional who works hard at meeting the needs of guests.

This was an average hotel. Nothing spectacular bit the rooms were decent, clean, and well maintained. Boston can be such an expensive city that this was a reasonable choice at less than half the price of inner city hotels. Yes, you aren't far from the red line subway that takes you into downtown Boston, so a car rental isn't necessary. Know though that the subway is not as close as some make it out to be. It seems close to a mile away and a sort of sketchy walk through town. The free airport shuttle was a real nice benefit. Our driver, an older man with a native Boston dialect was extremely helpful in telling us about spots in the city we shouldn't miss. He earned a generous tip for his courtesy and info. Although a "free" shuttle, please don't lea e your manners at home and tip these folks. Boston traffic is a nightmare and our driver anyhow, took it with a grain of salt.

This hotel is located in a beautiful, well manicured, tree-lined setting, has friendly professional staff, and is beautifully decorated. The room was spotless and comfortable at a reasonable price. Who could ask for more? Breakfast was included.

Stayed here with family and friends for a long weekend in the Berkshires. Good central location; other towns tend to be 15-30 minutes away in any direction. We booked a variety of rooms, including a 2-room (3 beds) suite, doubles, and an accessible room. The rooms were decent; the suite was particularly spacious. All rooms were outfitted with a microwave and fridge, which was great for storing our leftovers and water. I found the staff at the front desk friendly and accommodating. The manager was good about accommodating our room requests. He was also attentive to the general needs of guests; when the morning dining area got too crowded, he quickly opened up the adjoining conference room. When there appeared to be no staff to work the kitchen, he was there. The staff who cleaned up around the dining area were diligent. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast each morning, which had a good variety, including do-it-yourself waffles, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage/bacon, cereal, yogurt, fruit . .. basically anything you could want in the morning before venturing out. There is also 24-hour complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate available in the lobby, which is nice (although the water was rarely hot enough for tea or hot chocolate.) Now for the NOT SO GOOD: the cleanliness of the rooms. We found the rooms were not the cleanest. The accessible room particularly fell short in this area; before allowing my grandparents to enter the room, we had to go through the entire room and dust it. Everything was coated in dust - the counter tops, dresser, tables, etc. There was also noticeable dust on some of the desks in the other rooms. In our suite, we noticed that little brown particles would fall out from the crevice between the wash basin and the counter top - possibly your typical bathroom mold/mildew - but really, who wants to see bits of brown stuff flow out while you're washing up in your hotel room? The cleanliness was a disappointment from an otherwise satisfactory stay.

Hotel is close to airport and has a shuttle service which is handy. Do not eat at the restuarant near (within walking distance). Very bad food. Better to skip a meal. We tried it for dinner and never again. Pleasant people at the desk.

Comfortable stay during our road trip to the North East. You just can't beat BW Plus hotels ..... they are all terrific! Breakfast was plentiful and good. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's rest.

This hotel was a welcomed place after a long drive. The front desk quickly checked us in, made dining suggestions, and answered all of our questions for the next day's drive. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in PIttsfield with a group of friends who have the same interest in antiques that we do. This hotel was the designated accommodations for the weekend, and it worked very well in that regard. We weren't there very much over the two days, but it met our needs very well when we were.

a party of 16 ladies on a bowling tourney weekend and we booked here due to location and price, we were pleasantly surprised with the place. Arrived on Sat 4-30 afternoon and front desk staff was nice and helpful. Our room seemed stuffy so I opened window and heard a conversation looking out there is a house less than 15-20 feet from the back of the building! That was a shock but no problem for us. we called down to ask if we could use the breakfast area for card playing, they were gracious and allowed us which was really nice. The next morning breakfast was very nice, consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, hard boiled eggs, make yourself waffles and other items, the gentleman working the area was quick to clear and refresh items. this is a good 3 star hotel, nothing fantastic but clean and what makes the place is the staff.

As a Best Western rewards member and staying at this hotel prior this hotel should be a model for the rest of Best Western's Chain in New England. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy access and the staff are happy, dependable and enjoy what they do. I drove an extra 20 miles to stay the last leg of my business trip because my first two days were so perfect.

The ratings would be 3 to 4 stars but for the noise. We slept poorly. We were on the second floor and every step and door opening and closing above us was amplified by the walls and floors. We recommend only staying on the third floor unless they is no occupancy directly above.

First time vacationing in the Berkshires, the hotel was a good price and was a decent stay. The best part of the hotel was that the staff there were very friendly and accommodating. On the other hand, I did not sleep well, the bed was not comfortable. When I went for my wash cloth to shower, it was not cleaned it had makeup on it. (I do have to say they were extremely apologetic and immediately got us fresh ones) Also, the neighborhood that the hotel was in was not the best. For $79 a night it was ok.

I stayed here while attending a nearby retreat with my mother and mother in law. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for relaxing, quiet, clean, comfortable with attentive and helpful staff. We stayed in room 219 which had a fireplace with a sitting area, microwave and fridge. There was a king bed and a separate room with a double bed. We will definitely be back!

Two rooms, slept 4 great. For the price, a great weekend getaway with the girls. Spaceous, and very clean. Great location, located close to town, yet a country feel. Fitness room does need to be updated, but works. Breakfast good.

On our way to The Hancock Farm Museum and Herman Melville House we decided to stay on Pittsford last minute. We were so happy to find this Hotel! As we passed many not so great hotels in the area we started to get worried about what we might be in for. We were extremely pleased all the way around! The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Rooms very clean updated and cozy! I enjoyed my time in the fitness room and breakfast was wonderful. Many choices and we were all 3 happy!

Got a nice $100 rate for this hotel. It was in the off season but the hotel and staff were on point. Love the room, great size for 1 person, looked newly renovated. Bo was the one person I remember, he did a great job suggesting places for dinner. Will definitely be back again.

My husband and I stayed here recently for two nights and we have nothing but amazing things to say! The rooms are modern and spotless, the staff is incredibly professional and accommodating, and the location is so relaxing- off the beaten path but close to everywhere you want to be in the Berkshires. The front desk associates are so friendly, they treated us like we've been coming for years! If we weren't already planning on returning to the Berkshires, we would come back to the area just to stay with the Best Western Plus Berkshire Hills! A+!

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Montreal to New York. The guy at the front desk (Jim) was more than great! He gave us a very warm welcome and all the important informations about the hotel. Also the room was comfy and very clean! Great value for the price, we would definitely come back!

The exterior was clean, snowy weekend and the lots were cleared nice and early. Lobby great, brkfast room spacious and lots of food options including hot meal items (eggs, sausage). Room was clean, beds very comfy, pillows were small and soft though. Good TV channel selection, disappointed no EWTN channel. Very nice staff and cleaning service. Definitely would recommend!

For 175.00 per night there should be zero noise level at this hotel. I feel it is the hotel's duty to insure this. ie: somebody from hotel should walk around. This was a wedding gift for our son who did not report the noise but then again he shouldn't have had to.

My wife and I visited the Berkshires for our one year anniversary and stayed at the Best Western Plus with an in-room whirlpool and fireplace. The hotel was well maintained, the staff were all very friendly, and the room was very nice. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Let's start by comparing Apples to Apples: if you're expecting Hilton or Courtyard by Marriott, this is not the same thing. But I will tell you what it is. It is a clean, recently renovated facility with very nice features - including a gym - that makes it standout from other value lodging options in the region. Unless you want a place with restaurant, bar, and pool, this is a no brainer for a clean room and a quiet night of sleep.

The front desk staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The room was simple but updated and clean. Towels were large for this kind of property and bright white, looked new. The breakfast buffet was simple but the food was fresh and offered ample choices. Would stay again.

Stayed at the Best Western PLUS Berkshire Hills Inn & Suites at 1350 West Housatonic Street in Pittsfield, MA on two separate occasions in the past 6 weeks. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was excellent on both visits. the staff were very professional and courteous. The value using AAA or AARP is outstanding. I will certainly return.

We stay at this Best Western whenever we're in the Berk shires. (about 3 times a year)/ The hotel is clean, the rooms are adequate, and the service is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Also, the breakfast area was kept very clean and had a good variety. This was a huge plus for us, since we are wheat free. They had eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and fruit. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff was nice, courteous, and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for our snowboarding weekend. It's less than 20 min drive from Jiminy Peak Ski Mountain Resort. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We like the special design of separating the small living room area from the bed with a small partition, as well as having the sink outside of the bathroom. The 2-night staying at this hotel was truly a pleasant experience. Decent complimentary breakfast.

I stayed for one night while skiing. The hotel staff was friendly from the time I booked the hotel. Upon check-in, I was informed they have 24-hour staff at the front desk so call with any question/concerns. They also have 24-hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate set up in the lobby and coffee and maker in the room (no charge as some other hotels do). The room was nice - big and clean. Breakfast was good - cereals, bread and bagels as well as a toaster, eggs, sausage. They had a waffle machine but it wasn't working great but waffles were good as long as you guesstimated how long to keep it in there (the timer wasn't working) and then kept it in for a few extra seconds. Otherwise it was good. I had left my ski pants in the room accidentally after check-out and had to return to the hotel to pick it up. It was at the front desk waiting for me. My fault I left it but since they knew what room it was left in and I provided them with my phone number upon check-in (which was put into the computer), why couldn't they have called me to let me know they had it instead of me having to search my car and bags before calling them to find out it was still there?

The rooms at this suburban Best Western are pretty good; spacious, clean and well-maintained. The lobby area feels a little small and overall, there aren't a lot of public spaces in this hotel. The desk staff are very polite, although sometimes their attention felt overly solicitous to the point of being almost cloying. The breakfast was filling, but uninspired. Not a huge number of options at the buffet. Overall, a decent, reliable hotel.

Little gem in the middle of nowhere. Very clean and very helpful staff. Work is in Hudson, NY but well worth the 30 minute drive to stay. Never have had a bad stay. Many extras included in room rate. Washer and dryer on each floor and snack area down stairs. 24 hour coffee and tea.

Came down for a trip last week with family and some close friends, chose this hotel because the reputation of the Best Western Chain and because this one had such excellent reviews. Boy did they nail it, hotel was clean, well maintained, had nice breakfast and rooms were spacious and comfortable! We had a suite which had a nice sitting area and made our five day stay more comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

This is a motel about 2-3 miles out of town; convenient, but not really walkable. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and reasonably well-appointed. Wifi included, good enough for streaming video. Service was friendly. The included breakfast was good in theory - hot and cold options, fruit - but less so in reality - dry scrambled eggs, lumpy oatmeal, lukewarm coffee. This may have been due to low turnover as ours was an off-season visit and the facility seemed pretty empty. All in all, a decent and fairly-priced place to spend the night, but a quick snack before breakfast out might be the better strategy.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, The beds are very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is very convenient and there is a wide variety to choose from.

This hotel has always been the best of Western choice. Very clean, fabulous staff, great complimentary breakfast. Have stayed here many times and never had a negative comment regarding this hotel. Location is a bit out of the mainstream of downtown, but a much better choice than some of its competitors. Believe it is family owned which makes them more conscientious to assisting customers to enjoy a good clean hotel with many qualities to attract the traveler. Always a pleasure staying with them!

Clean rooms and exceptionally friendly service make this Best Western a very wonderful experience and a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, I cannot vouch for the breakfast as we did not partake, but the coffee was great.

This hotel is a gem in the middle of the mountains. Personal staff and a clean facility. Nice breakfast with 24 hour coffee available. Staff is always willing to help and if you do not need help they are always willing to listen.

Everyone from the staff including management, front desk, maintanace the 'Breakfast Lady" are professional helpful and resourceful yet very welcoming. The rooms are clean and well designed especially the 'Fire Room Suite". The finishing touches are well executed. I stayed here on business for two weeks and the longer I stayed the better the experience was.

I stayed here last February with my girlfriend to enjoy Pittsfield and ski a few days at Jimini Peak. Location is good, only 5 minutes outside of downtown pittsfield where there are some great restaurants and things to do. If you plan to ski Jimini Peak is only 15-20 minutes to the mountain and really easy to get to. There's another small ski hill down the road about 5 minutes as well that could be fun to check out. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The microwave and mini fridge were super convenient and the bathroom was clean and a good size for us. The two people we dealt with at the desk were friendly and helpful with any of our questions. If you just need a solid place to rest your head or enjoy a weekend with your S/O this is a great place!

We were looking for a cheap place to stay in the off season with friends. We were trying to save money so we booked this place thinking it was just a regular basic no frills hotel. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed it here! We also had zero expectations since we saw the brand name as "best western". In any case, all of the employees were really nice to us upstairs and downstairs. We had a one bedroom suite with a queen bed in the separate bedroom and a king bed in the living room. There was a pull out couch, fridge and microwave. Best of all, there was a working fireplace! The tv's are both flat screen in each room. The bathroom was very small and basic but was clean and water pressure was fantastic. The sink is separate, outside of the bathroom which makes for easy prep in the morning with multiple people. The free breakfast wasnt anything remarkable but hey, its free and u can always have a yogurt and fruit if u do not like fake eggs. The lobby always has hot coffee and tea and water available for free. They have a small snack corner for purchase. The location is just a few blocks off city center but it was not a problem for us to drive 20 mins to all the restaurants in the neighboring areas. If i were coming back to this area again, i would definitely stay here again for this experience. It was pleasantly surprising.

Very unexceptional chain hotel. Location is not so great, on route 20 with fair amount of traffic so probably rooms in the back are best for a good night's sleep. It was generally clean and comfortable- though our blanket was stained. Breakfast was your usual low end free breakfast, with some good fresh oatmeal but otherwise nothing very tasty. Four stars only in the sense that nothing major wrong with it and it was a slight bit better than some of the other basic budget lodging choices in Pittsfield. Guess that's why it's high on the list -- the bar is pretty low. Staff was friendly enough.

the hotel was very good in all areas, particularly when a request was asked about having the tv in the breakfast area set for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade to be seen while all ate. The children and parents had a good time. thank you very much.

This property has reasonable rates for the Berkshire County Area. The facility is well maintained and very clean. They provide a full breakfast as part of the room rate and service healthy foods. The fitness room is well equipped for a small hotel. An A rating for sure!

It was a pleasure to stay here at the Berkshire Hills Inn & Suites in a room with a fireplace. After a long day listening to music at Tanglewood, me and my wife would open a bottle of wine and sit by the fireplace. Every time we come to Pittsfield we always stay here.

I have been at this hotel for 4 weeks with 8 to go. So far a friendly accommodating staff with nice clean room. The breakfast is hot and good better than your average. The gas fire please is a nice touch

We had a great breakfast and the room was very clean . We had a room with a fire place . It was very romantic . We went to 2 winearys with in 5 miles . great weekend getaway . We will be going back for Skiing .

We've stayed at several Best Western this year and I've decided they have a knack for hiring friendly people. This one is a good example of good customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is just east of town but easy to get to. We'd stay again.

The place was a very clean and well kept property. The front desk was more than accommodating. The breakfast had a great variety and the food quality was excellent. The room price was kind of the high side for the area, but it was a Saturday.

Beautiful property and facility; sleek and modern décor. Felt welcomed by staff and reception was friendly and helpful. Early arrival, yet room was ready and even when asked if a comparable room was available, change was handled well. Comfortable, quiet room with terrific bed and comfy pillows. Morning paper and computer/printer usage available for free. Breakfast was average with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cold cereals, assorted pastries and breads, coffee and tea. Laundry facility has only one washer and one dryer. ($1.75 each load)

Well received by staff; helpful with our questions. I would stay there again. The good construction of the building, décor in the rooms, amenities, breakfast, and noise suppression were most noteworthy.

Stayed at the hotel as part of a birthday getaway weekend. My daughter called to send me a surprise flower arrangement and when the hotel found out about my birthday they upgraded my room. What great customer service!!!

All the staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. A great and convenient location for this hotel. The adjacent room noise detracted from an otherwise great experience. Its a bit pricey for the area but a great value compared to the other options in the area

Went for fall foliage get away last min. Hotel staff was friendly,stayed in a king room. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Hotel serves complimentary breakfast. Plenty of outside parking in well lit area

Nice hotel with a very clean and comfortable stay. Friendly check in person, who when we asked him where to eat dinner. Suggested the Roast garlic place down the way. It was wonderful ! I also loved the mint/ strawberry water that was at the coffee station at check in. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

This motel had everything they advertised, and everything exceeded our expectations. The 3 adults in our family stayed in one of their suites and it was perfect for us. Our stay at the Best Western Berkshire Inn & Suites was a highlight in our vacation.

Booked this at the last minute whilst driving West from Boston in the hope of seeing some fall foliage in New England. It was perfect for a one night stop over - quiet, big comfy bed, free breakfast (I was mesmerised by the automatic waffle machine). Good location for Mohawk trail route.

We stayed three nights. After the first night we expected that the bed linens would be changed, and the room cleaned. The towels were changed, the beds were only straightened up. Nothing was cleaned. When did motels quit providing these services? Some accommodations give you the option to opt-out of some services that are provided calling it... being green. That was not the case here. The property is in good shape. The free breakfast features hot foods. The bedding is of a nicer quality. The motel is on a well traveled road. I'd imagine traffic noise would be an issue. We requested the top floor when I made the reservation in June. Unfortunately one was not available. Lots of noise came down from the room above.

So the location isn't great since it's not in town, but it's quiet and clean and the staff is very nice. I've stayed there twice, both times pleasant. Nice to know that they have suites, which makes staying with kids a cost effective option.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Bed was very comfortable.Nice location, room was very comfortable and clean. Staff (Thank you Jay for your help early in the AM) were ALL very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. Stayed 3 nights. Our son stayed at a more expensive hotel and when we went over, we definitely liked ours better. They also had to pay for their breakfast.

This is a good hotel though it's in a sort of out-of-the-way location several miles from the center of Pittsfield. The room was comfortable and large and we especially appreciated that the sink was outside the toilet/shower room. It meant that one of us could be using the the sink while the other used the toilet. The hotel was quiet, the bed good and we slept well. There was a minor problem when we arrived - the cable was out of order so we had no internet or TV service until after dinner, but the desk clerk did make sure that the cable company came out and fixed the problem quickly. I want to give the hotel credit for a very good breakfast buffet, much better than some other Best Westerns we have stayed at recently. There was a good choice of hot and cold items and the woman taking care of the breakfast room was exceptionally hard working - she cleared tables as soon as they were vacated and she made sure that the serving platters for all the food choices were always full. Although the hotel's location was a drawback, in other respects we found it to be very good, and reasonably price.

We have stayed at this hotel when it was under a different name and now it has been taken over by new hotel chain and management. Fantastic! The changes in this hotel have made it a definite choice for our frequent travels to the Berkshires. All rooms have been updated, very clean, great breakfast room with complimentary hot and cold food choices. The staff is wonderful and assists in any way to help their customers enjoy a terrific stay. Plenty of parking and only minutes from downtown activities. Coffee and tea in lobby 24 hours along with wi-fi and separate small room with computers. Price is right and we highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was very good. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. The only complaint we had were the pillows were too high, and kind of made our necks hurt. We asked for "flatter" pillows but there were none. Overall, our stay was a satisfactory experience.

On a trip searching for fall foliage colors, and we are by the Berkshires. Checked the reviews and prices and decided this was a stop for us. Price was acceptable, the front staff very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Parking in front or the side for easy off loading of suitcases. There is no restaurant on premises, but a nice wood-fired oven pizza place 5 minutes away. And they have coffee in lobby 24 hours. A perfectly suitable stay.
