This is about the company. Not a certain property. I was told I could price match. I did. Found a way better rate with free cancellation too. Got denied by some fine print that the lady on the phone left out when telling me about the price matching procedure. This will be the LAST time I stay at a best western property. Yes I spoke to someone. “Our policy is wat it is”. And on the phone I was told “I need to brush up on it too since I didn't know if either”. Yes the problem solving department said that to me on the phone tonight at 1855 Tucson Az time. They admitted to me they don't look or read the policy. WOW. But they sure do enforce it when I found a way better rate. NOT COOL. I WILL POST THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times and never disappointed… Great location, fair price, outstanding free breakfast and always feel safe here Bonus: there is a terrific pizza place right down the street as well !!

My room was very clean and everything was working fine. The workers were excellent customer service and very helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel to a friend or family member. The environment was perfect and the location.

Staff is great but everything sucked. Hiked the price up because illegals got dropped off, by the bus loads. Very disappointing stay! I'm a diamond member and expected more than a clogged toilet. I want a refund.

Tub had hairs from previous guest. Furniture beat up or missing pieces. Lampshades broken and loose Breakfast had rubber eggs, coffee from powder, hash browns tasted stale. Stay at another place. Staff was nice but facility not worth it.

This place is a dump. The staff are rude and disrespectful. They are extremely unprofessional. I was verbally assaulted. If you can avoid staying at this place, do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The rooms look nothing like advertised. The beds are very uncomfortable. The staff is the worst part. These people are extremely prejudiced. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this. Please do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The price is not worth it. The manager verbally assaulted me.

Motel style. Soap dispenser in shower was empty. Shower tub clogged so filled up during showering. Few random long hairs throughout the bathroom. Ice machine closest to room wasn't functioning. TV was pretty poor quality for 2024. Several channels didn't work. Breakfast was great.

Hot tub didn't work this time or a year ago. Pool smelled weird but was warm. Some cigarette smoke from people outside got into room. City pollution didn't seem to be filtered out enough in the room when Phoenix had lower air quality days. Broken dresser drawer from a year ago still broken this time. Shower had an odd air-filled lumpy floor. Everything else A-OK. If the problem stuff doesn't matter to you, the place is fine. If you have sensitivities to any of that, not a good fit for you.

Not a hotel. it is a motel like an old Big 6 they just put new paint on. Walk about a block outdoors to get to your room to get breakfast . Cheap ceramic tile floor, screen window half falling off looks like someone tried to break in. busy street close to room rattle windows all night. view from window is a car parked in front of your door. Over priced Motel

Liked services, breakfast, pool, gym and overall property, rooms are clean and tidy and access to pool, parking etc is great, located with ease off hwy 51, drive to airport was just 26 minutes during rush hour even.

We had some maintenance issues with our room at check-in, but it was late so we accepted them (lamp with missing light bulb, wall switch that didn't work, refrigerator door dragging the floor and had to be lifted to get it open). Then the next morning the AC went out. Staff was very apologetic and manager adjusted our bill for the first night and moved us to an upgraded room for the second night so couldn't have asked for anything more. Also had a good breakfast with a clean eating area and well stocked buffet that included well cooked meats (bacon and sausage) that were NOT greasy. The only thing that was not great was the "scrambled eggs" which were dry and seemed reconstituted or artificial. So it was a very satisfactory stay apart from maintenance issues which was due to the overall dated condition of the property.

I enjoyed my stay at this best western. The biggest thing I loved about my stay is they have these little tabasco bottle for the breakfast which in my opinion makes the breakfast way better. For that reason I will be coming back. The room was nice and cozy as well I felt safe and secure

Nice motel at a good location, close to freeway, restaurants. Some repairs are in order in this location, like AC, bat tubs, flooring and another areas of motel. The lack of repair diminishes the value of the facility.

I have been staying here since I discovered it a couple years ago. When in the Phoenix area this is the only place I stay. The property is clean, quiet and safe. The rooms are nice size and well maintained. The staff here are the best. Plenty of good eats within 5 min walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a nice, moderately priced hotel to stay in if you are visiting Phoenix. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, courteous, and well informed. Our room was clean, neat, and had a clean bathroom. The pool was well kept and was a moderate temperature. The hotel provided a free breakfast for its guests, and it was hot, good selections, clean, and there were a lot of tables to sit at.

Always stay at Best Western Hotels. First time I have ever been disappointed! Hair found in tub and on sheet. Mold around tub area, knob adjustment for shower extremely loose (making water adjustment very difficult! Toilet seat very loose! Some foods cold or not fully cooked!

This hotel was great for what we needed it for. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for us and not to far from the airport. The only complaint which was not bad is that the outlet near the sink did not work. So we had to find other outlets that would work and some of the outlets were loose. My only suggestion is to check the outlets.

I had a long flight and it was 118 degrees in Phoenix. I checked in and couldn't wait to swim. This was the dirtiest swimming pool I've ever seen at a hotel. Room was in disrepair (no shampoo or body wash in dispensers, thermostat not working, no cold water in bathroom sink, dirty tub, half-used roll of toilet paper, outdated tv with terrible picture quality, bite marks from child or pet on tv remote, gap in front door letting light and hot air in. I was in town to visit family and when I sent them photos they immediately started looking for a different place for me to stay. I had reserved for 4 nights, checked out after one night, but received an email bill which was higher than my total /4. Very dissatisfied. I don't need anything fancy when I travel; not a full kitchen or an exercise room even; but CLEAN is a basic expectation and that was certainly not met. There are other Best Westerns in town, but I decided to switch to SpringHill Suites in Scottsdale instead for a mere $20/night upcharge and there was a WORLD of difference.

Clean Beautiful Amazing Amenities Accommodating Team & Manager Felix Great location & Safe Felix, the manager, went above and beyond to help me book online prior to our stay and helped ease our check in process— all done with patience and kindness! I “Loved” our studio room with a king bed it was very comfortable and the room was spotless! Pool and jacuzzi were nice and refreshing after travel too as was the fitness center! Big media room to catch up with emails or work and the staff will assist you if you need it! Loved my stay here & we highly recommend staying here —you won't regret it— great price & excellent amenities (breakfast was great!). BLESSINGS DAWN W.

I've stayed at this property at least twice. Last time (2022) it took 4 months over and dozens of phone calls before I could get a reciept emailed to me. I stayed again (my mistake) in May 2023 and I'm still trying (July) to get a reciept. In 2022, a new employee finally emailed from her personal email (after 4 months) and it came through. Earlier today an emplyee tried to email herself and confirmed that the hotel email does NOT work. The manager has never been willing to even speak to me about this!

We stopped here after flying into Phoenix before heading to Sedona. What a great stop! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The front desk staff was polite and responsible. The free breakfast was excellent. The pool area looked great, even though we didn't use it. For under $100/night, this was a great place! In a safe area!

I travel frequently, and this is the first review I have made on Trip Advisor, because I would others to not be misled like I was by the positive reviews for this hotel (more like a refurbished motel?), and to remind myself to not stay here the next time I'm in Maricopa County. First, I am an “elite” member with Best Western, second, like you, I have my choices of hotels to stay at, and I should have stayed at a Hilton or a Marriott. This hotel seems to be a converted motel. The suite I stayed in is tiny, the water pressure in the hotel is minimum, I could hear my neighbor sleeping, snoring, and using the bathroom next door, because the bedroom walls are thin, and I can hear people walking by my bedroom window, and hear traffic on the street. I won't be coming back to this hotel, and I would advise you to stay elsewhere too.

We had a great stay for ~1 week. The breakfast was very good compared to similar hotels I've stayed in: well-maintained, lots of options that rotated daily, tables were always clean, plenty of seating, etc. We had an accessible room so no carpet, walk-in shower with mobile shower chair and handheld shower head, handrails in the bathroom and attached to the toilet seat. I wish there had been counter space in the bathroom to spread out, probably left out to reduce obstacles and maximize floor space. An additional wall shelf would have been really useful instead of stacking things on the back of the toilet. There wasn't a lid to the toilet so eventually something fell in! The bed was surprisingly comfortable even after 5 nights. The air conditioning worked very well, but is one of those wall units below the window that runs intermittently. So it was either freezing or stuffy, but both my friend and I have sensitive respiratory systems and didn't have any problems with it like we have had with wall units in other places. The pool has towels available in the pool area and stays open until 10pm (did someone say night swimming?). Lots of rooms overlook the pool, maybe avoid those for a quieter stay. The back side of the hotel is away from the parking spaces and a farther walk. Overall, it was just what we needed for a week attending a conference at ASU-West and exploring Phoenix.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and had a great location that was close to Highway 51 with easy access to the rest of Phoenix. We would definitely stay there again. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as expected including the bathroom, TV and Internet.

The ground was well kept. The pool was heated and clean. The breakfast was good. They had breakfast sandwiches, eggs, potatoes,bagels, oatmeal, and bacon on Tuesday. The room was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. We had a great stay.

i have stayed in this hotel in the past when i went to phoenix and all i can say that this hotel is good for the price you pay for if you wanna not brake the bank. the price offered and the service was good and the rooms were well maintained. it has improved a-lot by them adding snack vending machines in the laundry area.

Everything about our stay was made easy by the efficient staff at this location. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable, freshly updated, and impeccably clean. Parking was steps from our room, our room was quiet, and we had a relaxing stay.

The hotel was very clean and check-in was a breeze. The breakfast was excellent as they had something for everyone and a wide variety of juices. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very economical hotel for base location for visiting customers in the Greater Phoenix area. Easy check-in, good breakfast, and relaxing room at a great price. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Customer service has been off everywhere since the pandemic. But, this place is absolutely horrific. The place apparently HATES business travelers. I'm a Diamond Select Best Western Member. I travvel almost every week. I typically stay at least 100 nights every year at Best Western Properties. But, even with my Diamond Select status, nobody at Best Western customer service was willing to help me get a reciept for my expense reports. I called the national line and the local property at least a doze times each. The local property, including the manager, REFUSED to email a reciept for my expense reports. The "manager" left me a voice mail explaining that they have a comepletely different email (Bluetorchman@aol.com) address for me and that's the only address they would send to. I've been attempting to get a reciept for over 60 days (since Sept 23). I gave them (local and national desk) my correct email addresses at least a dozen times but they refused to send me my reciept. I'll be back in Phoenix next week (at a different hotel) and will have to stop by in person to get a reciept for my expense reports (60 days late).

Our trip was for the Senior Softball tournament. The BEST WESTERN was one of the host hotels. The price was great. The hotel provided everything we needed. It just so happened the hotel was quite far from where we where we actually played but it still worked. Once at the hotel there was not a lot to do! It was not within walking distance to very much. We had to drive everywhere!

although it appears that this hotel had gone thru a renovation, it still has more to be done. Primarily, the bedding needs to be upgraded, unless you enjoy rolling to the middle. There are light switches that do not light anything. Heating/cooling system likes to vibrate. Flooring as no carpeting so be prepared for your socks or feet to get dirty.

The hotel staff is so friendly and the rooms are nicely remodeled and VERY clean! Area feels very safe and the grounds are clean and nice! I highly recommend staying here! The breakfast has a nice selection and they keep that area clean and welcoming!

After staying in this hotel I feel like this is a very affordable and it does provide lots of different accessories for use. They do have a pool which it was helpful during the summers. The breakfast in the morning is very good and they serve different varieties.

Kind staff helped us get settled into rooms next to each other. good price, central location. Bathroom shower was a little rickety but we figured it out. Breakfast Was good and they provided bags to go that had a variety of snacks. Bed was comfy.

Hotel is in a good part of town. Has been recently updated. Not perfect but nice. Staff was great and breakfast was good for pandemic era just all pre prepared food. Fitness center is large& well equipped.

I was looking for a centrally located hotel with all the amenities including the continental breakfast for a one-week stay. This was perfect. We even used the laundry facilities. The staff was very helpful. The pool and outdoor seating were great. My son used the gym a couple of times. I would stay here again.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and safe. The pool was nice and refreshing. The hotel is close to a nice water if you have a family that loves water. They is a close Walmart if needed.

We drove approximately 3 hours to get into town and through a lot of traffic. Because we arrived early for a doctors appointment and we we able to check in to our room early. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind before going out in the traffic again. It was very much appreciated.

The ONLY place I will stay in Phoenix. The staff is always courteous, friendly and efficient. Like most businesses, there is always the subtle evidence of “woke” attitudes, but I come from the WWII generation and prefer the traditional values and language that made American business what it once was.

We stayed for 4 days. Great room! The property was beautiful with a friendly staff. The pool area was clean and inviting. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and the hotel was close to everything.

BED BUGS!!!!!! The bed was comfortable and the room appeared clean. The staff in the evening and night were kind. Then there was a BED BUG crawling in the sheets. I took photos, gathered my things, and went to the office immediately . I emailed the management as directed, and was told they would contact me in the morning. I left. Obviously I wasn't going to sleep with the bed bugs. Management the next day said they couldn't find any bugs and will not provide any refund. I had photos of the bug, and had to find somewhere else to stay in the middle of the night, and they are calling me a liar! I am completed disgusted and feel very disrespected. NEVER would I recommend this or return

We traveled here with our soccer team. We stayed 4 days. Our stay was very pleasant. The pool was a big hit with our soccer girls. The breakfast choices were plenty and the grab-n-go bags were essential for kids on the go! The rooms were clean, good wi-fi and plenty of free parking.

Clean rooms, good coffee and breakfast, nice employees, nice pool and hot tub. But the real gym (pun intended) is the gym at the hotel. Multiple pieces of cardio equipment including 2 treadmills, a recumbent bike and a stair stepper / lateral trainer that was amazing. There's also a great multi-function gym that had double stacks of 150 lbs of weight which allows you to work all muscle groups to achieve an excellent workout. Additionally they have a great set of dumbbells ranging from 5 lbs up to 75 lbs & a fully adjustable bench allowing you to work from flat, inclined and upright positions. Probably the best equipped gym I've used at a traditional hotel.

I rated this place a 4 (actually to be more precise a 3.5) because it was, in our opinion, more on the medium to lower end of most 3 star motels that we stay in. The reason is due to the fact that, upon arrival to our room, we noticed that light bulbs were burned out that hadn't been replaced as well as the soap and lotion dispensers had not been refilled. We were also not made aware that we would have to let the front desk know if we needed housekeeping. Usually there is a sign in the room stating that or else the front desk would let us know while we were checking in. To end this review on a positive note, the room itself was clean as far as we could tell, the pool and spa were nice, and the staff was great.

Noisy and expensive. Another gas alarm went off in one of the other rooms and they left the alarm running at 7 AM for 10 minutes which I could hear from within my room. I notified the front desk staff but because they are understaffed the front desk person said it would be difficult to give me any help assisting me in locating which guest room the alarm was coming from and then helping me to figure out how to shut it off so that I could sleep (I had no desire to wake up at 7 AM). The hotel itself was of extremely poor quality and should be called a motel. My guess is that the property used to be a cheap motel and was purchased by best Western and dressed up to be nicer than it actually is but when you have doors that go outside to a noisy street you can't modify a one or two star motel in charge four-star hotel prices and act as though everything is OK . I guess if you fool a few guests for a night or two who are new to the area and don't know any better you can get away with that

Nice little hotel tucked away in the mountains of Phoenix. It's quiet and comfortable. It appears the hotel was remodeled in the last 5 years. The room was very pretty and had modern amenities. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint which ruined the entire experience was a lack of a hot breakfast. I travel for work about 20 times a year and I usually stay at Best Western's and Hilton. Best Western even in town 2 miles away has a hot breakfast. Why this one does not is the question. Please fix this Best Western team and I will come back. Otherwise, I'll go to another hotel that has a hot breakfast.

Was a friendly place and great area , their was even parks that are close if you like to see and hike the Camel Back and Mountain preserve in the area. In addition , it's close to major highways and only 10 miles away from the airport . if there was any problems or issues just let the front desk know . The staff are very accommodating to their guests. The rooms are nice and clean, and if need housekeeping just let them know to have that service and it will be done. I used the laundry room and ice machine that was useful when traveling. They have a heated pool that was a too warm when a few of the guests were using and let them know and they adjusted to a more comfortable enjoyable swim for us snowbirds . Would recommend to use this hotel if in the area.

My ‘typical' review goes like this: When traveling, we consider several factors in choosing lodging, then rating it afterwards. Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Other considerations are location, price, available breakfast, and communication. Comfort, adequate lighting, bathroom counter space, shower water pressure…are all things that make a stay comfortable or not. We try and get hotels that have character or a feel for where we are, for the type of trip we are on. In other words, when in Prague, we don't want the Hilton. Exceptions are when we need a place to just sleep while passing thru an area. My reviews are based on these factors. 2 couples were needing a place to stay near family in the area. This was the closest. Ok Price the first night but there was a dog show (we didn't know this is a dog hotel) so prices went up each night. We left a day earlier than planned due the the increases. OTOH, we didn't really notice the dogs and the floors were tile. Front desk was very friendly. Way overpriced for the quality of what we got. We were placed next to each other on ground floor. Good: Bed, counter and light in bathroom. Breakfast was ok, variety, but it got really old after a few days with no change. Pool looked inviting. Quiet. Bad: Shower temp kept changing from scald to cold, our shower had no pressure for long hair. The other room had too much and stung. the doors didn't close without effort. Room was darker than I like. There was no housekeeping (we didn't ask) and trash filled up. hairdryer ran until i turned if off for a second or two.

The traffic on E. Northern Avenue was very loud. The remote didn't work and the bath didn't drain very well. I stood in 3 inches of dirty water which was disgusting. Not sure if I would stay here again.

Almost everything in our room was broken - refrigerator, microwave, telephone, lamp and usb charger. We had to go to the front desk for everything our room required - towels, cups, coffee. Floor of the room was filthy. It was a "serve yourself" hotel experience for over $625. As customers here for the past 7 years, we will not return - covid or not - it has declined to an unacceptable level. We feel we got ripped off and won't be recommending Best Western to anyone, ever again!

We came to Phoenix to visit the Odysea Aquarium. We chose to stay at this Best Western because we had been here before. We always get great friendly service. Be sure to ask them for restaurant suggestions because they will not steer you wrong.

This is a quick in and out room, so it is easy to get your dog to one of the walking areas they have for pets. It was a little loud, but I would stay here again because the price was good, the breakfast was good, and the pet areas were excellent. The beds were also super comfortable!

The hotel met my minimum requirements. However, checkout process left a lot to be desired. I am still waiting for a receipt of the charges for my stay. The failure is primarily the fault of Best Western.

Room looks nice and very clean. refrigerator, coffee machine and ice machine by the pool did not work. No first floor rooms availalble. Walls in shower were coarse tile and would not allow portable handicap grab bars to attach. No elevator available. No shampoo in dispenser and dispensers were difficult to operate. Requested the unit be filled and did not happen.

Pros: comfortable bed and great, safe location. Good customer service, and very nice packaged breakfast. We loved the easy access to AZ-51 since we traveled around the area during our stay. Cons: needs an upgrade and peeling paint on handrails and balcony. Pool didn't look very inviting so we skipped it. More than adequate hotel. Friendly, helpful staff made the difference.

I'd reserved a double queen room - requesting ground floor/ close proximity to parking , due to knee injury. We were given a lovely upgrade to a king suite, directly in front of our parking. While there is timing, etc involved, it was a thoughtful move to accommodate the request as they did. Staff was friendly and warm, definitely helpful with those little extras that are needed. Appreciate the great group here and the services provided.

This was a one-night stop over for us. We had a large suite. Very clean and comfortable. Our room was in the 1st floor near the office—outside entrance. We could hear people walking when they walked by, but it wasn't a problem. The check in clerk told us to front they would move us if it was too noisy, but it wasn't. It was a well- equipped, middle class hotel Located near the activities we were interested in. We could have stayed there comfortably for a few days.

Bew prepared for stingy towel service and shady hang around in the back. Other wise quiet, comfy basic stay that fit for what we were needing. Modified breakfast was good enough to start your day without hunger pangs. Nice big fridge in room was a plus since we went to grocery store for additional breakfast items like fruit, boiled eggs etc. And store left over boxes.

There is a group of people who appear to have been living rough spending time together in the back parking lot during the day and evening. Since our room was adjacent to the back parking lot my daughter and I did not feel 100% safe coming and going. I asked the front desk person if the hotel is providing long term housing to the needy and he did not answer my question. I'm glad if the hotel is providing this important service, but if that is the case the entire hotel should be used for that purpose, or short-term visitors should be informed.

Traveling through Phoenix with my daughter's dog. The area is very safe. The front desk was cheerful and helpful. The room was cold, clean and quiet. We ate at a fun Mexican restaurant down the street. Great value hotel stay.

I have stayed at this location for over twenty years. The management is constantly upgrading the facility in large and small ways. The importance of long term personal relationships with staff cannot be over emphasized.the quality of service has been almost universally exceptional.

Handy and convenient place to stay. Good price. Nice views and easy access to food and drink nearby. Easy access to downtown and quiet place to get good sleep. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean as well.

The staff are friendly and courteous. Always willing to help out with any hotel issue. Also very knowledgeable about the area suggesting good places to eat, location of nearby stores, places to check out if visiting here, etc.

We stay at best western for 3 days first time I been here but I been to other hotels before. To start the water was turn off for a couple of hours on my second night, the room where not clean thru my stay. I mean is it normal don't know. Their breakfast was none existent lack of communication I guess had to figure it out. With two kids they don't care they want food. House keeping hardly seen them trash over flow I just end up doing it. No complimentary breakfast. I never had issues with hotel being messy but I guess it my first, or is it covid. Over absolutely I would not recommend it. Not a great experience.

Check in and out was very easy, the front desk people were very helpful. We stayed in a king suite that was comfortable and clean and very quiet. Because of Covid 19 the breakfast was not much, but filling. We have stayed at this location and have never been disappointed.

We were greeted by the very friendly and informative Noel at the front desk. Our room was on the 2nd floor (our choice) on the back side of the hotel. As we passed other rooms I did notice they had stickers that said they were thoroughly cleaned. Ours did not & I probably should have asked why but the room looked clean and I always wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes anyway. The only thing I thought strange in the room was the chaise. I think it would have been better to have a small table & 2 chairs. The motel is in an area with office buildings so it appeared to be very safe. The noise level was tolerable - I could hear people yelling down to someone in the parking lot and once heard a dog barking. I purposely did not bring a bathing suit because I thought the pool water would be too warm but when I tested the water with my foot it seemed like it would have been refreshing in the 100+ heat. In the a.m. we went to receive our grab n go breakfast. Someone greets you and asks if you want orange juice or water and then hands you the breakfast bag. We thought it was adequate - bagel w/ cream cheese, apple, yogurt and a granola bar. All in all a decent stay.

Staff was great, the room was quiet, clean and I had a great stay! I enjoyed my stay, everyone was very helpful and accommodating. I plan to stay there again very soon and look forward to their hospitality.

Satyed 2 nights, good place, good location, good room. I enjoyed breakfast even though it was all polystyrene plates. Plenty of good food to choose from. Room big and very comfortable. Walkable to restaurants, and very handy by car

Staff was competent, helpful and friendly. The lobby area was sparkling clean and inviting. My room was clean, decorated beautifully and all the amenities worked to perfection. Did not have time for breakfast but staff pointed out that They had modified their menu in an effort to protect their guests from the Covid19 virus. That's called taking responsibility. While dining options are limited right now, they are within minutes of some of the best restaurants in the Phoenix area.

Stayed for 9 days. Good location and easy to get around for baseball and visiting friends. This is more of a motel but very convenient to pool/hot tub, fitness center and lobby. They have two gas grills by patio and plenty of snack machines. There are no shopping or food by this hotel but everything is within 2 miles that you need. Also 2 washer and Dryer on location and they actually are clean, and dry like home for $1.50 each. Rooms are a little dated but nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and we were comfortable here.

Spent three nights here, other than kind of hard to find and a bit dated, it was clean, quiet, dark, good hot breakfast and a helpful staff. Lots of good restaurants very close, easy access to highway, dog park about a 3 minute drive away. Very good value for pet owners.

This hotel is an average hotel, but a good value and location. It is in an area with high traffic and believe the rooms nearer the road might be noisy, but we did not experience this. The staff was friendly, the pool was very warm and on Monday to Thursday they had a happy hour from 5 to 6:30 and offer beer, wine and nachos at no cost.

I was pleased with the attempt to update this hotel, but it sure did fail short in some places as it was obviously rushed and attention to simple things was not done. Paint on door hinges, light switches of different colors, a deadbolt that had no bolt and would just spin when you tried locking it at night (thank goodness for the hasp lock as seen in the photo I am posting), rust colored water for a few seconds when we first ran the sink to wash up, gaps all around the door leading outside where you could see light.... and I could go on and on.... Also had a MAJOR issue with guest noise from the pool area into late in the evening. Turned the AC onto the fan setting to drown it out. Maid carts were banging down the walkway outside the doors at 7am for those who sleep in later than that. Three stars for a clean room, comfy bed, clean fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and such. Would I stay again? Only if I could pay about 1/2 of what I actually did. That's about what it was worth to me.

THE STAFF GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE YOU STAY HAPPY ONE, im here a lot at this hotel and its well worth it, other than the jacuzzi needs to be fixed and its never been hot espicially when ive been thier, but the staff makes up for that, always smiling faces to help you, the breakfast crew the girls wait on you and make sure if thier is anything you need, Best western needs to get those girls two air fryers the guest will love it and it will make the girls working that shift even better and help them keep the smiles on the guests

My husband and I are vacationing in Arizona, spent 1 week here. I found it very clean & very friendly staff. Hot & cold breakfast Nice laundry room, & convenient to the highway, not far from other areas of Scottsdale. There is an out door pool, but we didn't use it.

Amazing staff....amazing stay....Bonnie, Rosio, Juana, Chelsea, Noel, Patty, Tonya, Aleata....just the best! Well maintained property, best breakfast anywhere, suites poolside that make a working staycation a reality.

The Best Western in Phoenix met all my expectations- room, service breakfast. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Phoenix. It had all the facilities I needed and was close to the destination I had to visit.

As business travelor I look for comfort, quality and ease. This property has it all. Breakfast has something for everyone and it is all tasty. Property is clean and comfortable and smells good instide. there are plenty of outlets for all the electronics we carry. I will stay again when in the area.

The homeless population in Phoenix is out of control and apparently the hotel is ok with some of the vagrants taking up residency in the parking lot when the sun goes down. The parking lot is very dark the 3 Uber's I took to the hotel from other locations missed the entrance because it is not well marked or lit. The room entrances are outside and that added to the feeling of not being safe. Someone could easily lurk around the property waiting for an opportunity to victimize guests or their property. My pet peeve on vacation is that I'm not woken up the maid ignored the fact that the do not disturb sign was on my door and that I had a 1pm check out and beat on my door at 830 and tried to let herself in thank god I had the latch locked as well. The gentleman at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Although he failed to point me in the direction of the room and I had to ask where the elevator was only to be told after looking stupid that the room entrances are outside but no big deal.

This hotel was very clean and quiet The room and lobby was very nice and inviting The staff was great and friendly. The breakfast was good . I will stay here again if I ever get back to Phoenix Arizona..

Only good things to say - friendly helpful front desk staff - store my luggage at 8 a.m. until I checked in at 5pm. Breakfast/kitchen staff very attentive to keeping areas clean and food tasty and hot. Bed was comfy; room large, clean and used the micro and mini-fridge. Extremely quiet at night. This was my first time and it will be my Phoenix hotel in all future visits - quick access to freeway and restaurants/amenities!

Great hot breakfast, even had grapefruit. Nice hot tub, super friendly staff. Clean, friendly, feels so welcoming. Worth way more than the budget rate you pay. I would live there if that were a feasible plan. And they welcome pets!! So worth it, I recommend highly.

Great hotel, spacious, well-appointed rooms, amazing staff and the most delicious breakfast...lots of choices! Location is ideal, too. They provided complimentary water bottles and a couple of bags of snacks during check-in, which was unexpected but really a lovely gesture. Thank you!

The Best Western Inn Suites Phoenix Hotel and Suites was clean but the rooms are getting a bit dated. This is also a motel type as you enter the room from the outside. The breakfast is very good. The bathroom sink area is in the room. The Wifi was not very good and would cut out continuallyl and the television reception was fuzzy and no HD. I would recommend a room on the backside of the hotel and the road out front seems to be busy all night long.

Enjoyed this hotel and their team. Did not have to wait in the fitness center as their is plenty of equipment and it is well maintained. The renovation turned out great with great color choices and a beautiful pool.

Hotel had a good breakfast with a decent variety. Wifi was fast enough and reliable enough for me to work a lot. Heard great things about happy hour and the general manager but i wasn't able to take part in it as i was quite busy during my trip. Will be returning in a few months. My only suggestion would be to open breakfast earlier for those that are on east coast time, but i know thats not feasible. I say it only because i was hungry at 4-5 am phoenix time-waiting until 6:30 felt like forever

Check in was very fast the person at the front desk was very helpfull on stores near the hotel that we needed.The hot tub and pool area was vert nice and clean the pool water was 80 degrees and felt great on a December night.The room we had was a junior sweet that was very nice and spacious,We would make sure on our next trip to phoenix that way stay at this location.

This Best Western location was perfect for our needs. The staff working during late check in was extremely helpful/ carrying bags up to second floor ( no elevator). Breakfast staff was efficient. Check out staff was also very good. We'll return!

I drove in 3 hours & when I got to motel check-in went smoothly, got to my room decor is nice, room was clean & everything was working properly. Enjoyed my stay & would recommend. Social Hour is a great idea after a long day.

I had to go to Phoenix on business. This is the first time it was not part of a conference and had a pre-selected resort. In the past I've stayed at the Phoenician and I've stayed at Royal palms. This time the client I was visiting suggestrRoyal palms. This time the client I was visiting suggested The best Western on Northern since it was close to the airport and close to where we would be meeting. I checked in late and the desk staff or quite friendly. Unfortunately there was no coffee or drinks available in the evening. My room was facing Northern Avenue. I wondered why they were ear plugs on the nightstand. I soon found out why. The traffic noise on Northern Avenue was pretty bad. The next morning the breakfast Was surprisingly good and the ladies taken care of it were very friendly. I am sure it was a good value for the Phoenix area. However the right I paid was a little pricey for the level a best Western. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I would probably stay there again but request an interior room

This was a great place to stay with some very awesome people working there from the GM to all the staff that you come in contact with, love what they do and it shows in the customer service you receive. The rooms are very spacious and clean, along with the beds being very comfy. When I come back in February 2020 I will only be staying at this hotel. There is lots of local places to eat along with places that deliver. All around great place to stay!

This was a convenient and moderate price. The staff were great and we were pleased that there was a pool. I wish we had planned to stay longer and enjoy. I would definitely book again if I come to the area.

I haven't stayed at this Best Western for about 2 years as it was noisy, rooms were not updated at all and looked somewhat dirty and dingy. I checked in a few days ago and was amazed at the remodeled lobby. It was beautiful....bright, modern and inviting. When I got to my room, I was amazed again. The rooms were completely beautifully remodeled and everything in the room was brand new. It was beautiful with bright colors, extremely comfortable, ....it was totally different from my previous stays 2 years ago. It was extremely comfortable and quiet. I loved the room........I did have trouble with the TV not working ..a staff member immediately came over and checked the wires...they were broken...and I was immediately given a new room and help with my luggage that needed to be moved to the new room. I was very pleased how it was handled and everyone could not have been more efficient and accomodating . I had an amazing stay in a beautiful room ! I will return !

I stay here everytime I come to Phoenix. I have reviewed many times b4. This time I had a medical emergency and the staff were right there to help and make sure I was taken care of. I needed 911 and the office staff called and came and stayed with me until the EMT's arrived. (it turned out to be an allergic reaction) This is a nice quiet place. Great pool. Fun evenings with snacks and drinks. Its my home away from home.

WOW! It's been a long time since I've received such excellent customer service and value. Anna and Erika made my stay memorable with their “above and beyond” customer care. I can say with honestly Best Western has a truly fantastic management team there. Jessica and Noel at the front desk were also amazing. I was always greeted with a smile and kind word. The rooms were CLEAN and MODERN. Beautiful landscaping and pool as well. Thank you all so much!!

Inside and out this property is well-kept and looks good. My room was clean and comfortable in the morning breakfast buffet was well stocked and tasty. I especially appreciated the helpful staff when I used the computer and printer.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Close enough to the highway/freeway without all the noise. Great amenities. Heated pool, large hot tub. Close enough to walk to restaurants. Beautiful view of the surrounding hills which provide some nice hiking trails.

From the time of early check in to the checking out, I was treated like royalty. The service person on checking made certain all my requests were taken care of and on check out, the service person was professional and remembered my name. I felt like family

When I checked in, the outside appearance is not appealing. However, when I stepped into the room, I realized this hotel, though not new, is kept up well. It is clean and everything works properly. The only complaint I reported was the loud noise from shower next door. It is an old building anyway. The pool is nice and clean. Hot breakfast is okay without a lot of options but sufficient to stuff my stomach in the morning. A bonus is the evening social everyday 5 to 7. Wine, beer, and snacks are provided, which is pretty nice for a 2-star hotel.

I stayed at this place when I visited my aunt in Tempe. I highly recommend it anyone. Its your typical Best Western. The price was great but what made my stay as the service everyone was nice and helpful.I will choose this hotel for that reason alone.

I travel with my parents in tow very frequently. They are unable to climb stairs. I was able to call in early morning before arriving to request first floor because they do not have elevators. They were very accommodating. We were placed in side by side rooms. Rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast with BW is always a hit. Hot meals and wide variety. Customer service is great too. We ordered food delivery and they did not bring us cutlery. BW provided us with plates, cups, forks, and napkins. This is the second time I stay at this location. I really like it.

Clean and comfortable. Rooms recently redone. Old motel layout with brand new tile wall coverings, floor coverings and furniture. Everything was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee and nice soaps in the shower. Good lighting and lots of plugs.

We love this brand of Best Western hotels, while the property is older it has been well maintained and the rooms are recently updated. We enjoy this hotel because they are so warm and welcoming to not only their human guests but also their 4-legged guests. We will use this property again during our visits to Phoenix as we plan our return to the valley from vegas.

Newley remodeled, great location, close to freeway and down town. Great for businnes stay. The staff was friendly and courtesious. Older building but well taken care of.Will stay here again, @ next visit to Phoenix.

This Best Western is in a very nice area of greater Phoenix. Although it isn't very close to anything within walking distance it is very quiet and clean. The pool and hot tub area were kept clean and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning my room. Breakfast was good and there was a great selection. Keep in mind though that they don't start serving until 6:30 a.m. so if you have to be somewhere early in the morning that you may not be able to partake.

This hotel, and Best Western corporate office, is scamming us with an $800 charge they refuse to remove from my wife's credit card. I stayed at this hotel for 1 night (8/26-8/27), as I was driving across the country with a part of our family: our cats. My wife Danielle reserved his room with her credit card about a month prior; she planned my cross-country lodging with an AAA agent. Upon checking out, I paid for the room (about $111) with my own debit card. Nothing eventful happened during the stay and the accommodations were fine. Fast forward a few weeks later, and Danielle reviews her credit card statement. It seemed abnormally high, and then we noticed an $800 charge from Best Western Phoenix. We thought surely this must be an error. She called the hotel on 9/16 and spoke with a front desk representative regarding the charge. He stated it was a damage charge of $800 in the room, and if she wanted to discuss the matter further, she could speak with the hotel manager Anna. The rep said Anna was not in the office and we could contact her tomorrow, and he gave us her "direct line." We were upset and could not understand why the hotel wouldn't reach out to either of us about placing such a large charge on Danielle's card. Red flag number one. And when she tried to reach Anna the manager the following day at the number the hotel representative gave me (yes, we repeated the number back to him), the number was not in service. Red flag number two. Danielle then contacted her credit card company to dispute the charge, since this seemed to have SCAM written all over it. The credit card company called Best Western Corporate, who transferred the call to Best Western Phoenix, who then were able to get the phone to Anna. We asked Anna why we were unable to reach her at the direct line her employee provided. She said she did not have a direct line and all calls are transferred through the front desk. She told Danielle to "drop it and move on." So we then began to ask questions regarding the charge. Anna & Danielle were both on edge and upset, but honestly, the way she spoke to my wife was unacceptable. This person is supposed to be in the hospitality industry? She then asked Anna why we weren't notified of the charge. Anna angrily told her she's been trying to contact us since the day I checked out of the hotel, and "even tried to call AAA," but she couldn't get our contact info. I confirmed my phone number and other contact information upon check-in to the hotel. Anna states the hotel does not have any of my contact information because we booked through a 3rd party (AAA). I find this impossible to understand. You save my wife's credit card information and have no difficulty charging her card, but our phone numbers just... disappear? Red flag number three. Anna said my dog "tore up" a chaise lounge and that I left without saying anything about it. We told her we did not have a dog, but the cats were in the room. This discrepancy did not seem to phase her, she said: "well, Mauricio was seen checking in with pet carriers." Anna stated she is only going by what she was told from her staff: a housekeeping employee reported damage after I checked out. Danielle was giving Anna her email address so she could send her photos of the damage, but she cut her off and said she had nothing further to say to her-- that Mauricio would have to call and give my email since Danielle's name was not on the reservation! It's a shame the chaise was damaged, but we had no part in said damage. Our cats could not have ripped a HOLE (photos provided below by manager), especially in only 1 night. This is clearly damage from a dog (and we don't own one) or wear over time. My cats' nails were trimmed just before the hotel stay. It is also important to mention that Anna stated twice (on the phone and in e-mail) that she is still waiting for quotes to get the chaise repaired; she doesn't know if it will be more cost effective to replace it entirely or have it reupholstered. WITH THAT INFORMATION ALONE, how is it acceptable to charge $800 to my wife's card without any idea of the actual total cost? I realize this is our word against the hotel employee's word. But I would think that Best Western would give us the benefit of a doubt that we are not lying. Unfortunately, after speaking with Best Western corporate, that wasn't the case. I called the customer care office, and the representative simply stated if there is damage in the room, it cannot be disputed and we are responsible. Well, with that logic, I guess you could just charge any guest for damages, whatever amount you please, and the guest can't do anything about it. Right? We asked the corporate customer service rep if there was a manager we could speak with in their department, and the rep said there was no one else that could help us. So now we're here, hoping to warn others of hotel scams such as this. We will be filing a report with my credit card company, but I don't know if there is anything they can do.

We had a last minute trip to visit an ill family member. The staff here did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome and well cared for. Our room was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be for a little more variety with the breakfast. The food was good, but got a little boring after a few days. We would definitely stay at this location again!

Nice hotel room was neat and clean as was the pool everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful breakfast was great yoghurt machine is cool eggs and bacon and potatoes were hot and tasty need to work on the coffee

Any time I'm able, I book this hotel when I travel to Phoenix for work. The staff are wonderful, breakfast is seriously one of the best I've ever had, rooms are huge, very nicely decorated and clean, laundry facility and work out room. Crazy amenities for the cost. Pool area is great and so is the outdoor seating area. I've never had an issue with the internet. Seriously, love it!

It is evident that the entire staff work together to provide an amazing experience, From checking in to the quality of the property to the cleanness of the room my entire stay was fantastic. I would certainly stay here again if I needed a room in Phoenix.

Best Breakfast selection that I have ever had at a hotel. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and I certainly enjoyed the salsa to put on top. There was a very friendly attendant that was on duty the entire time of the breakfast that kept replenishing the food and kept the buffet area and tables clean. The breakfast hours were great, 6:00am to 10:00am. The room was nice, clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. The exercise facility and pool were very nice also. The front desk staff was so courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Other hotels need to take lessons from this Best Western inPhoenix.

This is a well kept Hotel located in a very nice part of Phoenix that is very close to all roads to get you to anyplace in the Phoenix Area. Every night they have a small happy hour that is nice for some Chips and Soda. Ithink they also have wine and beeer,

After flying standby into Phoenix, we booked this hotel because it had a hot tub and full breakfast, among other amenities. We didn't know that we would like virtually everything about this property! We spoke to Patti via phone to ask questions and then make the booking. She was super nice and helpful. Upon check-in, Noel was also friendly and courteous, and he surprised us with a bag of treats for being Best Western Rewards members - nice touch! Our room was spacious and clean, with a king bed, divan, 40 inch flat screen TV, large fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and desk. The LED lighting was inviting, and there were plenty of outlets (some on lamps on each side of the bed). The pool area is beautiful, with grills and a picnic area adjacent. The hotel has covered walkways and extensive landscaping. There are vending machines and a centrally-located room with laundry facilities and an ice machine. The property is in a scenic section of Phoenix with views of mountains all around. The included breakfast was excellent: scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, biscuits and gravy, bread, bagels, cereals, waffle maker, yogurt, fresh fruits, hard-boiled eggs, juices, coffee, teas, etc. Kudos to Bonnie who heads up the breakfast staff! Highly recommended for friendly service, quality of stay, and value for money. If and when we get back to Phoenix, we will definitely stay here again.

On July 5th my wife and I arrived from a long 6 hour drive from southern Utah. My wife had a sore back from the long drive and went straight into the jacuzzi, I went into the pool. After about 10 minutes I joined my wife in the jacuzzi, as I entered it I said "wow that chlorine is strong!" I sat in it with her and then said,"let's go in the pool, feels much better" we went in the pool for about 10 minutes then my wife wanted to put her back on the jacuzzi jets. She said her skin stings from the jacuzzi and I said are you sure? We stupidly went back in - then within 5 minutes my wife is crying saying here skin is burning. We rushed into the room and we jumped into the shower to get the chloring off - my wife is going hysterical - I was calming her down and said they must have just put in the chlorine and too much of it. She called the front desk crying and they said to come to the front desk - I told my wife to soak in the tub and for them to come to the room. The front desk did not come - they called again and I said I am Retired Navy and am doing what I have been trained to do in chemical attacks - multiple soaks in clean water. I luckily also had aloe vera gel that I put on my wife and I. After 30 - 40 minutes of rinsing and aloe vera - my skin was peeling off and so was my wifes, my bodily hair (not on my head because it never went in the water of the jacuzzi) was all singed and falling off. We then went to the front desk and Patty at the was nice but said she tested it and it was fine. I said of course you will say that - the bottom line is our skin is burned and I showed her my skin peeling off my legs and chest, then my wife showed her red skin that was very tender. Patty asked if we wanted to go to the hospital - I said we just want to go eat dinner and if it still hurts we will see a. doctor. When we came back from dinner, Patty told us the BW point we used for the room will be reimbursed - I said thank you very much and we then went to room and put on more aloe vera and after sun lotion - took sleeping meds and rested. In the morning as I was brusing my teeth I killed two cockroaches in a 4 minute span coming out of the sink. I now just want to leave this , even though the bed was very comfortable and I liked the pillows, I do not want coackroaches crawling on me while I sleep. I go to check out, they are still charging me my points, I then ask if Patty knocked them off as she said - the woman at the front desk walks away and get the day manager who then wanted to know everything that happened (again as if Patty didn't pass it on or make the changes she promised). So now I have to explain the whole ordeal again since Patty did not. I start to show her my skin peeling off and my singed hair and the day manager said I don't need to see that, our readings show the chlorine level was okay. I called my wife in out of the car, to tell the day manager and the day manager started screaming at me - telling me she didn't want to talk to my wife. I said she was in longer than I was and her skin is all bright red. I then said look at my chest I have no hair left and the skin is peeling off and by the way there are cockroached in your room! The day manager froze up and would not talk to me, as if she knew I was right and now she realizes I should be reimbursed not just for the damage to our skin and bodily hair but for the cockroaches that they probably have been dealing with and are aware of. I can only suggest that anyone reading this post stay elsewhere for your own health.

My husband and I stayed here in May. When we arrived around 3 pm on May 22 the parking lot did not look that busy. And this was the normal check in time. However they only had one room available at that time. My sister in law and her friend would have to wait and check back with them. So we all went to our assigned room. While sitting there we noticed how noisy it was because it was on a very busy street. We also noticed they had a package of earplugs on the night stand!! After our sister in law finally got their room, we called the front desk and asked to be moved. There is no way we would have gotten any sleep in that room. The front desk employee was very understanding and upgraded us to the quiet side of the building. As we entered the newly assigned room we tried turning on the lights and nothing happened. So back to the Front desk we went. And then they assigned us another room. It turned out to be fine but we discovered the shower handle felt like it was going to fall off when we tried to turn the water on. But we did get a good nights sleep!! Also the Breakfast buffet was very nice and the workers kept everything fresh. I do want to stress that all of the employees at this Best Western were all very nice and the front desk did make an effort to make sure we were happy.

We have been staying at this BW for over 20 years. Have always been satisfied staying here. Pool area is very nice. Over the 20 years all the employees have done their best to make our stay a great one. On one stay the maintenance man even jumped into the dumpster to find my car and house keys. Housekeeping ladies always have a smile and a hello. Will stay here when ever they have a room for us.

Last minute motel needed to get to early morning flight. It was super hot outside but the pool was a nice refreshing swim. Hot tub sadly was the same temp as the pool. Breakfast was yummie. Staff was helpful and polite.

Rooms were clean and comfy with frig, microwave and coffee maker. Staff were friendly and helpful, several went out of their way to help us. We ate breakfast there on Saturday and Sunday, the food was good and there was a good variety. The premises were clean.

We used to enjoy staying at this best western, but it seems that with today's help this particular location has gown down. The room had a oder as well as the bed and the pillow. and the floors and carpet weren't very clean.

Very cute updated rooms. Microwave-fridge-decent channels and a fun pool vibe. Sheneille was super at check-in. I liked the area the hotel is in, felt very safe. Even my dog loved it!!! I'll definitely use again.

From the first lady we encountered at the front desk to the abundant and tasty breakfast that saw us out the door, I highly recommend this hotel. It is great value for the price and everyone talked to us like we were all friends. My boyfriend tends to wake up extremely early, and he found a great conversation partner and made a new friend with Chelsea, who was running the front desk at about 4am when he came down into the lobby. Very friendly, very welcoming, extremely comfortable, highly recommended.

Having driven in from California, the staff was awesome in helping me with early check in. Nice rooms and great breakfasts. My only complaint was people standing outside the door smoking and drinking and being a bit loud.

It is a Great property and the staff is wonderful!! Noel at the front desk is a definite keeper!! The property is close to where I had meetings and had stayed here before and will absolutely stay here again!!

I wouldn't recommend this place event to my worse enemies. When i book the room under a very specific "block" with a very high rate even tho looking online the rate was much lower. Night auditor told they were sold out. even tho i booked a king room was not given a king room. i was made a reservation right there and then for a one queen - I was told i had 5 reservation or so under my name. they were all king rooms (which i didn't get any of them) I swap my Debit card for my credit card at time of check in and the night audit couldn't stop joking around as she her self was saying. - i was under the impression that all my random reservation were cancel but they were not. I was charge on both my Debit card and Credit card and i was over $3000 in charges. The next day the general manager "FIX" but only made it worse for keeping on charging me. - and the reality is that the GM doesn't know anything and plays a very Useless roll - after being broke and no money from all the charges the different night auditor who should be a GM was Fixing all this issue that the GM made and the other Night auditor. Note: another young lady short hair, dark skin and maybe Hispanic/Latino was very inappropriate. She would speak with guest about her sexual conduct and life. - Best western Needs to be on the look out about this hotel. this hotel need major renovation. needs to be manage better. who ever the owner is she only for the money and not to give true and superior customer service. The GM needs to work alot harder and so the agents. I had to be in the hotel twice and both time is a major let down.

Staff was friendly, lobby was inviting and adjacent to the breakfast are which is very spacious. Rooms were clean and newly refurbished -- everything worked. Included breakfast offered a nice selection of food, and was closely attended by staff to ensure it was clean and properly stocked. Great value for the money!

We had a slight problem when checking in. Our 3rd party reservation was cancelled because the company had gone out of business. Our desk clerk, Patty, cleared the problem by booking us in at a better rate. It is obvious she loves her job and working with the public. Highly recommend this hotel. Great staff and well taken care of property.

Just the breakfast deserves that you stay here. Very nice and helpful staff that go out of their way to help. Clean and comfortable rooms. The towels were clean and soft. Not rough as they usually are in hotels. Rooms had a modern feel to it with Iron, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Did not use the pool but it was good and stocked with towels.

Nothing in room worked except the electricity, They put a sink in the living room and call it a suite, not. Bedroom was separate which was the only plus. Very small room. The outside landscape was beautiful and staff were very nice.

We stayed at the BW on Northern Blvd in Phoenix, AZ and it was very clean, comfortable and safe. It was tucked in some beautiful hills. The representative who checked us in was extremely pleasant and informative, and answered any questions we had. We usually try to stay at BW's when we are traveling since the company has given it a whole new It has nice amenities and makes it affordable for families and others who have a budget to travel on. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel North Phoenix. The staff was very help and attentive. The central location makes it easy to get to all of the Phx museums, fun sites and local entertainment.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable, great rooms, great value, will come back again. Pool and breakfast were amazing. Easy to locate and not to far from the local places for a drink or shopping. Lobby is large and houses the breakfast area too.

Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the free happy hour they have several nights per week. I also liked the proximity to Dreamy Draw park. I walked there several times for a nice hike in the desert mountains.

From check in through check out this venue shown with full breakfast, weekday "social hours", clean heated pool and jacuzzi, and friendly front desk staff brimming with local advice. Best served for those with a rental car but doable for the walk-to-restaurant and Uber/Lyft crowd. We were most impressed by the minimalistic yet functional rooms with full sized (non mini-bar) refrigerators, microwaves, and consistent hot water for strong pressure shower and in-room soaking tub with jets! We highly recommend this well-priced "wonderful surprise"!

The hotel is very close to a popular spot. We stayed here so we didn't have to drive far. The check-in was fast and friendly. Rooms are clean and well stocked. The pool area is very nice and easy to get to. There is a breakfast in the lobby area to complete your stay. Enjoyed the eggs, biscuits and gravy. There was a nice sitting area for gathering your group. We will stay here again for the next family function.

The night shift employee was really nice. Left my stuff there but the staff was very helpful and send it back to me, really appreciate their efforts. They have really good breakfast options. Will definitely stay there again.

Called ahead to ask about early check-in as the normal check-in was at 4 PM & we had an appointment at 4:30 PM. We were told we could check in any time after 12:30 PM. We arrived a little after 1 PM & were told the room wasn't ready. We came back an hour later & it still wasn't ready. We had adjoining rooms & were told they wouldn't be ready until 4 PM. They moved us to other rooms that were not adjoining. Other than that, the stay was great. Clean, quiet rooms, great pool & hot tub.

Stayed here while visiting the Desert Botanic Gardens. Hotel rooms were newly decorated and very comfortable with seating other than the bed. Pool was heated, very clean and a great place to relax. Site is very well maintained. All staff seem genuinely happy and are very helpful. Location to good restaurants was a plus. Would stay here again

Rooms were not ready at the early check in, Patty was not very friendly. Rooms were decent, beds are pretty comfortable and the sheets are good quality. Has a pool and a small fitness center!! Breakfast was delicious

The room was clean. Good location about 10 mins from the airport. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. We stayed in 2 queens bedroom it had a refrigerator. Beds were comfortable. They had a pool and a hot tub.

I want to give a shout out to a young lady named Chelsea who went above and beyond during my 2 separate stays at this Hotel. She helped me curb my "hanger" by recommending local restaurants and even went as far as to help me place my delivery order. This lady needs a raise!

We stayed for college orientation. Great, comfy beds. Restroom area could use a little more space. We had 4 adults in the trip. Check in staff was less than friendly. Checkout staff was great!! Great location by the freeway and close to many restaurant locations.

Being an older facility, and a comparatively less expensive one, I was expecting wear & tear and cut corners. I was pleasantly surprised and felt that this location is an excellent value. My room was updated, renewed and comfortable. Everything worked well, although I did note the hot and cold sides of the faucets were reversed from what I expected (hot was on the right). Not a complaint, just an observation. The food for breakfast was among the best I've had at any hotel or motel, and it was included in the room rate! It was hot, fresh, plentiful, and the food area was kept meticulously clean by the staff. The grounds were well maintained with green grass (difficult and expensive to do in a desert location) and flowering plants. Every staff member I encountered was always friendly, engaged, helpful, and polite. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Noise from the busy intersection occasionally leaked into my notice, but most hotel/motels are near busy areas and it can't be helped. It was not bad during sleep time. My only issue was that on my final night there, a guest with dogs was checked in next to me. I love dogs and have one, but the owner left these in the room alone and left the property. The dogs barked non-stop until he returned. They were quiet at night though. My suggestion is that guests traveling with dogs should be restricted to one area of the property and not placed next to guests without them. Also, stricter enforcement of guests controlling their own animals. Despite this, the stay was delightful and I would return to this location again without hesitation.

Needed a place to stay while I had a medical appointment. Closest one and affordable one found. Family was very satisfied, would go back again....also gave me directions to my destination. Overall very good!!

Every staff member, from the General Manager to line level employees went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. I was there for two weeks and I left feeling as if I were apart of their family!

We trust Best Western motels and have yet to be disappointed. This one is just off AZ 51 and is conveniently located for everything. Well appointed rooms, full breakfast and a very helpful staff. A shout out to Patty who checked us in and out. They also have a happy hour M-T-W during which they serve wine, beer and finger food. Great pool and hot tub too.

Patty at the front desk was fantastic. She made the stay enjoyable. The only complaint I would have is that one of the dryer did not work. Other than that it was quiet and a nice place to stay. If I am back in the Phoenix area, I will be staying there.

A very convenient location, good breakfast, close to good restaurants and great staff. There are some nice parks close by. The rooms are comfortable, with a fridge and microwave it allows for some eat-in opportunities. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for two days and even though the hotel was full you never knew it. Breakfast area is large and the food was great and the staff was so friendly. Easy access to freeways. Lots of parking. Only downside was there is no elevator to the second floor.

We spent two days here this March and really appreciated the staff. From the front desk, breakfast area to housekeeping and management, everyone was very friendly, polite and welcoming. We stay at many BW properties and like to give kudos whenever possible.

Our door was left ajar after houskeeping /maintenance attended to a problem that wasn't fixed.Nothing was missing from the room when we returned, but the room receptionist was dismissive when the issue was brought to her attention. No management follow-up.

Easy access to baseball stadiums. It is in a residential area so lots of restaurants & we found a really good local coffee shop. It took us about wt minutes to get to Scottsdale Stadium This hotel was clean & the woman at the front desk answered all our questions. Service was very good.

We have stayed at this location several times a year for the past 10+ years. The last 3 years included an extended stay of 30+ nights. The property is centrally located with close access to the freeway system. It is ideal for any direction we need to go. The property has been completely upgraded in the last year. Social hour has been reduced from 7 days a week to 3, and water is no longer provided in the rooms. The breakfast offers a large selection including yogurt, cold and hot cereal, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, and a variety of juices. The entire staff is very professional and courteous and they made us feel very welcome.

I have stayed at this Best Western a few times a year for the last 10 years. Every visit, they have made improvements to update the building and amenities. The staff is one of the greatest assets. They are helpful and friendly. It satisfies all the needs we have for family visits.

The clerk that checked us in forgot to offer us express check out and did not recognize me as a rewards member but she was really nice and helpful throughout our stay. The lady who checked us out was very kind and professional. It was a great stay overall!

Everything you need at this hotel and great comfortable beds! Shuttle driver great customer service! Laundry facilities was much appreciated since I stayed two weeks, clean and centrally located. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping took great care of rooms and very friendly.

This is the nicest place in Phoenix if you are going to stay in a hotel. We stay year after year. Beautiful pool, great daily breakfast, cheerful and helpful staff. The best perk may be removed however. The 90 minutes of "social hour" where so many gathered each night, meant we were able to meet and chat with people from all over the country. This amenity is the reason that we returned. Check before you make a reservation. Without the social hour this will be just another hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel several times due to its location for my needs. Amenities on the property are very nice, like pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor grill, workout room, and lounge room. The employees have always been very polite, even the maintenance man who promptly replaced our non-working blow dryer. The breakfast staff were totally impressive how they stayed on top of refilling items and keeping all tables ready for the next guests. The rooms are showing their age but were still comfortable and clean. The walls here are pretty "thin", as we could hear water running and toilets flush through them. The hotel area is nice and the property seemed safe.

Clean, quiet, one of the most comfortable beds ever. Breakfast was quite good. Stayed on the backside. Outer opening doors to rooms so if that is a problem for you, just beware. Would stay here again with our puppy if in the area.

Helpful friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast provided. Something for every taste. Convenient to 51 freeway. Would stay there again. Was winter so didn't use the pool but it looked nice. There was a small stand alone building next to the pool that had washers and dryers, ice, brochures and vending machines.

We found this hotel to be close to our needs for the night. The room was oddly laid out with a small room out front and a small bedroom. It was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was the best I have had at a mid range hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, The staff was very help full. My room was very nice and clean. Side note, I left my laptop in a cab. The manager came in on her day off to look through the camera footage, and tracked down the number on the cab, I got my computer back. The breakfast girl was amazing, great food. The hotel is a great value and one of the best Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Caring staff and great rooms really made my stay enjoyable. The proximity of the hotel to Sky Harbor airport is great and about 15 minutes. Love this hotel.

The staff was courteous and effective, the hotel room was large and well suited. It was a quiet location and was well lit and safe. It was definitely worth the price and is well located in the north east part of the city

After several hours of road trip we arrived at the hotel and were served by a very friendly and helpful lady. The room itself was spacious with a bathroom and small rest area (lounge area). Bathroom and room were very clean and well presented. We stayed in a room next to the outdoor pool and spa and also close to the laundry room. I must say the thing that really impressed me about this hotel is that our room had some sort of magnetic door stopper. I know you may think 'why is this good?'. Basically it makes life a lot easier when you put your luggage into the room and it's so nice not to have the door shut on you. Breakfast was included - all the necessary food and morning beverages you need.

We have family at the Terraces, and this is within walking distance. It isn't a resort, but has a small pool and grill area. It is an easy hop to the 51. I hope the renovations are done. The breakfast is good and there are a few restaurants in the area.

We have stayed here for a week each of the last 3 years. Always have had helpful and friendly staff at all levels. The fact that it is about a half mile from the Dreamy Draw Recreational Park with both tar paths and lots of dirt trails make this place extra special. Even has a hot tub to sit in after hiking!

I needed a place to stay and this hotel had everything I needed. Excellent staff and breakfast and pool area. Beautiful grounds and easy location. Easy access to freeway and shopping. Microwave and fridge made it so easy to feel like home.

Decent motel in a slightly out of the way location. Rooms are good, wifi good. Breakfast is fine, with standard motel fare. They use way too much single use plastic which is extremely bad for the environment. There is really no reason why big motel chains should support this extremely ecologically unfriendly type of service.

This hotel is within walking distance of my work so my commute was awesome. I love being able to just walk downstairs to grab a good breakfast and then head back to my room for final cleanup before I head to the office. Hotel staff are very courteous and they really seem to appreciate that guests want quick service. I rarely find myself waiting for someone to come help with an issue - they're always there waiting to address whatever needs I might have.

This BW is in Glendale. We thought it was closer to West Phoenix area. Easy access on and off the freeway. It was NASCAR weekend so we were hair to be able to find a room anywhere. Nice place, but price was a little more than we have been paying for same accommodations at other BW

We came to Phoenix to celebrate our granddaughter's 2nd birthday. The InnSuites Phoenix was a perfect choice. Close to family and the Dreamy Draw Recreation Area (party venue). The Hotel staff were amazing! We had a little BBQ one evening and it felt almost like we were at home. We will be back again when we celebrate the birth of grand-baby #2 in the Spring.

Was here for a business trip so the location off the highway was fantastic. Missed the hotel the first pass by because the sign is not lit up at night and the signage is limited. Coffee in the lobby was really good and although I didn't try the breakfast, it looked like it would've been good too. Walgreen's and a couple restaurants were all within a mile. Had a junior suite on the back side of the hotel and second floor. Clerk said it was a king at booking but it was definitely a queen. It's pretty dark back there and the trash truck came every morning at 5:30 so I did not sleep well in addition to a super hard pillow. Requested a different pillow at the front desk because the one I slept on hurt my neck the next day but the clerk said they were all the same so I went and bought one. They were undergoing renovations and closed off the stairwell and rooms near me without saying anything at check in so it was annoying to have to go all the way around the building to get to my car. The price was decent so I couldn't complain too much but I will be trying another hotel on my next visit to Phoenix.

This is a motel style hotel, in that the doors open to the outside. It is newly remodeled. Rooms are clean. Restrooms are clean. Great shower heads. Towels are large and soft. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Nice TV with many channels. There is a larger refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker, and outlets to charge phones etc. This room was very quiet. I never heard noise from outside or from another room. The doors do not slam like many hotels. Nice pool and hot tub. The pool area is a gathering place, where I met friendly people from all over the country. There is free breakfast and happy hour. The breakfast is similar every day, and includes scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, fruit, beverages, etc. Happy Hour includes 2 free beers or wine, and some nice snacks. This is also a nice gathering point for guests. Service at breakfast and happy hour is tremendous. Service at the front desk is also great. They go out of their way to help, right down to printing your boarding passes for you.

Our stay was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet is adequate, but nothing to write home about. The happy hour consists of pretzels, nachos and drinks, which was a nice surprise. Room and bathroom both very clean. All in all is a good place to stay and would definitely return. Our only complaint was wifi coverage in our room, which was very poor.

My husband and I were attending a conference (not in a hotel) in north Phoenix and were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for one night that was convenient. I picked this hotel because of its location, the price, and the Best Western brand (a chain with which I am familiar although not a member). I saw that it had a hot breakfast (compared to the "continental" at the conference) and had good ratings. We checked in around 5 pm on a Friday--I had already confirmed/checked in on line through the email from Best Western. This place is an old-style motel--2 stories with all the rooms facing an outdoor walkway. We had a king room that was not overly large but sufficient for our purposes. There was a microwave and single cup coffee maker with acceptable coffee provided plus 2 comlementary bottles of water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Despite being next to the pool, we had no issues with noise from outside or through the walls. There was a happy hour from 5-6:30 with complementary glass of wine, beer or soda, plus nachos. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, and hash browns plus cereals, instant oatmeal and good yogurt. Our only issue was that it took overly long to check in because there was only one person on the front desk. Although we were second in line, the people in front of us seemed to be having some difficulty. We checked in quickly but by the time we left there were 3 people behind us. Other than this minor issue, it a good, clean, place to stay for a trip where the point of the visit is not the hotel--I would stay here again.

Great location, BUT no elevator - only outside stairway to access rooms. Older building, but rooms nicely recent renovated. Clean. Good breakfast, but loud TV always on Fox News - irritating! Unusually good amenities for physically challenged at pool and whirlpool - lifts to enable getting into water.

We have stayed at this location many times over the years. The hotel has just completed a total renovation of the property. As always, all the staff was very courteous and professional. We have plans to stay there again in January/February, 2019.

I've used that title because when we checked in the receptionist would ask us a question and whatever we replied her responses was “awesome saucesome” and it made me chuckle Friendly staff. Apologised for not having a ground floor room fur us as we had luggage. It was fine. Very clean room and big comfy bed. Nice shower. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice from cereal, fresh fruit to hot cooked options. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and was clean with relaxing surrounding area. Would stay here again.

The hotel old, but recently remodeled, so it's very nice. The problem is the extreme chemical smell you're smacked with when you enter the hotel. If you're an asthmatic you know that unless you take a room down to the studs there is no way to rid a room of cigarette smoke. Within minutes of being in our room, please remember it was very nicely updated, my asthma kicked in. We went down to the desk and asked if there was a room that was always non-smoking. She told us no since the a/c system is centralized, ie the smoke was/is/and always will be circulated around the whole hotel. They did suggest the new wing which has individual and new a/c units. My husband went to check it out. He came back saying that there was no cigarette smell, but a very strong chemical smell. When he asked about it he was told that a strong disinfectant spray is used on all the surfaces. So if you are asthmatic, have allergies or reactions to strong chemical smells stay away.

Very nice, newly renovated rooms, great breakfast and nice pool. It was very cool that they had a happy hour. We even got to watch some playoff baseball with other guests. And local beer provided! We really enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed here many times in the past and do keeping coming back. Now it is even better with the beautiful renovations! Breakfast is always fresh and plentiful. Rooms very clean, and staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Thank you BW!

Room was clean, bed was very comfy, and reasonably priced. Only complaint is that the walls were thin bcuz you could hear your neighbor. And easily hear the shower and toilet running. Even so, it served my purposes and I would stay here again

i have been there 6 nights . it is nice hotel .clean and comfy. room are ok. staff is nice. food is average no vegtabele.but i recomend this hotel for everyone due to the good price and what you get..

Stayed four nights for business. This is a nice and clean hotel with caring staff and newly remodeled rooms. Ask for an interior of the hotel room or the road noise can be a bit much. If you are looking for a hotel close to Scottsdale, without the Scottsdale price tag. this is the one.

Room was quiet.. Handicapped room.. ground floor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall stay was nice. Breakfast OK need to look at all that is offered before getting food. Long breakfast time available was nice.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Pool and spa was relaxing with the free happy hour. Breakfast was the only issue wish the hours where longer on weekends and there is only 1 waffle maker @ 2.40 min per order the line was long and the rest of the meal was cold by the time the waffles were ready. That was my only issue with this hotel. Everything else was easy and pleasant.

A decent hotel. Although there are a lot of things that needs to be fixed, happy hour make up for all of that. We stayed for 3 nights and was able to enjoy the happy hose for two evening. It is a perfect solution when it is above 100 degree outside. P.s. the front desk lady could be little friendlier.

Family stayed here and had a very pleasant experience. The front desk was very polite and accommodating. Overall the room was clean and the beds comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any family staying in the valley.

What a great place! This hotel is newly renovated and it looks great! The rooms are pristine and the pool area is so relaxing. It feels like staying in a resort, but without resort prices. I would recommend this hotel above any other in Phoenix. The best part was the staff. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job. Breakfast was also great and staff was attentive even though they were busy. The front desk was incredible! Kaitlynn clearly loves her job and deeply cares about guest satisfaction. She handled even the most difficult and unreasonable guest with a positive demeanor and a smile. Not everyone has the patience she does, that's for sure! She also greeted every guest with a "good morning" and a smile and asked how our day was going. She went beyond pleasant small talk, and we got to really know her. She truly goes above and beyond. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. I have nothing but kind words to say about her and the rest of your hotel. Thank you!

This Best Western is a great hotel with friendly, helpful staff at check in and breakfast. The rooms are clean and very comfortable with great pillows, which always makes sleeping away from home easier. They have a lovely happy hour with light snacks and wine or beer, which was a nice, friendly touch. Their breakfast was also really good. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

This was a clean, well maintained property. Comfortable bed, clean amenities. lots of thoughtful touches - like a bed scarf so you could lay on the bed with your shoes on and not dirty the cover - clean pack TV remote. Lots of pillows.

This hotel is on Northern and the 51. The 51 is a major artery to Sky Harbor airport and downtown Phoenix. An easy freeway to drive. Northern St. gives easy east/west access to other parts of town. The hotel also fronts 16th street. Just blocks away are many places to eat that are great locations. Plus, there are grocery stores availble within a few blocks. Location is the primary reason we have been staying her for 20 years. However, the hotel has recently been remodeled and is really very, very nice. There is a more than adequate breakfast. A very nice pool. And, the staff has always been more than helpful and supportive of our needs. We stay here at least 2 times a year, but now it may become more often.

My air conditioning went out and my cat and I had to bunk someplace else. This hotel was one of many reasonable priced hotels in the area. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful - from forgotten toothpaste to answering multitudes of questions. Since I had my cat with me, I did not have housekeeping service the room. However, the room was very clean and tidy. I would recommend having the bottom of the box springs covered. Although there was the platform to keep wayward objects ending up under the bed; cats always find a way. The open box spring was too tempting. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. Also, the lobby/cafe area was very loud due to the abundance of tile and glass. Perhaps adding more carpet, curtains and sound dampening ceiling tiles would help. Again, not a complaint - just a suggestion.

Tammy at the front desk was incredibly busy due to power outages in the area causing AC loss. I checked in while she was helping two or three people at once AND managing the phone, but she got me in, booked and happy almost immediately. GREAT service!

Best Western Inn/Suites was a perfectly fine hotel for a business visitor like me. It was a little distant from the conference venue and conference hotels, but was an affordable choice. The restaurant was a bit expensive but I only ate there for breakfast, and the meal was tasty.

We had just gotten home from an extensive trip with our grandkids using BW hotels in California when we were told of the necessity of our presence in Phoenix. Having just paid some triple digit prices for our rooms in CA, we were pleasantly surprised with the price of the rooms in the Phoenix hotel. What was even more of a surprise was how lovely the room was when we arrived. Pre-cooled, fresh smelling and newly remodeled, our accessible room was much more than we had expected. The colors were cooling, the bed comfortable, and the lounging chair allowed me to keep my feet up after the long drive. The accessible shower is large, smooth entry, and has a movable shower chair. The maintenance staff was very helpful in setting up the closed caption on the tv and then coming back to replace the remote when we were having a little difficulty changing channels. The check-in staff did an awesome job of assigning rooms as we arrived at the same time as several buses of high school basketball kids. I waited in the hot car while my husband went in and he was back before I felt it was necessary to turn the air back on. Breakfast was excellent...eggs, bacon, sausage. potatoes, pancakes and waffles were among the available hot dishes. The dining room was much larger than most. Not knowing the area, I was a little concerned but it is a beautiful, new and growing part of town. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel is a property that is on its way to the finish line! I have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times I had a great experience. The Front Desk team is well trained and knowledgeable, the GM has excellent support for his crew and the breakfast is worth 5 ihops! The location is perfect, as it is jumping distance to the freeway and located near to many great restaurants, shops and forms of entertainment that caters to all demographics. I stayed at some "high end" hotels that didn't even offer the amenities that this hotel offers. I spent less and got more!

I am not that familiar with the area and was concerned with how far away from family we ended up. I am glad we got to that Best Western though. The atmosphere was great. Even though the pool was always busy I did not hear that much noise in my room and I was relatively close to the pool. Pleasantly surprised

This Best Western was quiet, soft beds, clean, and close to the hospital where we were visiting a loved one. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Didn't use the pool. The breakfast was terrific. There were fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, juices,and more!! Tasty strong and week coffee, choices!

We have no complaints about this hotel . We had a very pleasant experience ! The breakfast items were very good , the staff was courteous and helpful this hotel was very clean . The room was very comfortable and clean.

Enjoyed the social hour and the breakfast the next morning. Will definitely stay here in the future when making trips to the area for leisure and business when able. Will recommend this hotel to others for same reasons.

Safe , Clean place to stay. Close, but not to close to the freeway, and local amenities. Nice breakfast and pool looked inviting , but we did not use this trip . Bring your own TV remote if you want to connect to the big TV HDMI

I wanted a hotel in Phoenix that wasn't too far from the airport but wasn't right next to it either and didn't break my budget..this hotel was perfect! We went to the Grand Canyon for one day and stayed here for 2 nights in a standard king bed room facing the pool. Room was very clean and nicely updated, AC worked well, breakfast in the lobby was better than anticipated (waffle maker, yogurt machine, hot eggs/sausage/potatoes, fresh fruit) we only wished it opened sliiiightly earlier (technically opens at 6:30AM, we had a flight to catch but were able to have some yogurt and a banana at 6AM!) Would recommend for sure

I came to Pheonix for hotel sales training. Check in and check out were smooth and easy with all front desk agents pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, looked to be recently renovated, and comfortable. Wifi was just right. I would love to see some more options at the breakfast but it is the standard Best Western continental breakfast. AND...they are really close to the Dreamy Draw Preserve where I enjoyed some excellent hiking in the evenings. The sign says that it closes at 7PM but I don't think that they are strict about it as there were folks just starting at 7 when we finished our hike. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Good location for travelers coming to Phoenix. Nice area. This hotel was recently refurbished with new furniture and a redecorated lobby.. The rooms are well equipped with amenities you would expect. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only negative is that the TV is mounted to the wall at the foot of the bed and doesn't have swivel capability so it is difficult to see from any other place in the room such as the chair or the desk. If you are a Diamond member don't expect a room upgrade at this property - I have been here 4 times including a Sunday night when the hotel was half full and have never been offered a room upgrade. Other than that it is an average Best Western (which is a positive) and a comfortable place to stay.

For our purposes while in Phoenix, Arizona this Best Western took care of all of our needs, which included a hot tub, good parking and quiet room. The breakfast is very good and the social hour in the lobby each day is a nice touch.

Went down to AZ for Bike week. This hotel was convenient to freeway, restaurants, and reasonably priced for area. The fitness room had plenty of options and open 24/7. Pool was outdoor but clean and inviting. Breakfast was great. Options for all diets, families, and was fresh. Staff was helpful and friendly. No issues while there and parking was plentiful. I would look at this place if going to Phoenix.

My wife and I stayed here 4 /12 thru 4/17 , we picked this hotel after checking reviews on line ,we didn't want to spend a ton of money as this was kinda spur of the moment trip ,we were here for UFCfight night at gila river arena on 4/14 , and were looking for a winter home in the Phoenix area,the hotel is very conveniently located right off the 51 highway, close to the 10 and 60 highway also but it's in a very quiet area north of Phoenix, let's start with the staff Devonte checked us in ,we arrived at 11 AM, soo tired from our flights ,we left NY at 3 am ,went thru 3 hour time change also ,we just wanted to sleep for a while knowing the check in time isn't for a few hours , well devonte said I totally understand and handed us the keys quickly explained the hotel and we were off to sleep ,I cant say enough about Sue ,Patti ,devonte ,...Patti was super so helpful we actually spent some time a couple evenings just down in lobby chatting with her ,she is a people person ,very nice , Sue is super also as I said before we were there also to look for winter home ,she told us several places to look at as she has 1st hand knowledge of the areas housing ,we ended up going to the same development she lives in ,we will be purchasing a home there ,she explained everything in detail about what to expect , all 3 of those employees go above and beyond to make guest's stay excellent

The hotel is near the 51 freeway with easy access to all of the Phoenix area. It has a nice pool, and the breakfast offerings were good. Entry and exit from either Northern or 16th street are okay, but tricky if traffic is heavy.

I stayed April 6th-8th. When i checked in Devonte was nice, on the other hand Patti was VERY RUDE. I forgot my keys in the room and she wouldn't give me another. She insisted on my ID but my purse was locked in the room. The next day i asked for late checkout and she said NO and hung up the phone. I loved the place but you're staff was rude. They didnt explain express checkout, Breakfast, and amenities. As a Best Western Manager i expected more from this hotel.

The rooms were newly renovated. The hotel provided a great happy hour that included free snacks and drinks. Facility was clean. Great location. Helpful staff. The rooms were a little noisy at night, but overall a great experience.

The bad: Horrible bed (brand new, I was told). Horrible rough sheets. Screaming children at the pool. No views. The good: free basic breakfast (eggs, patties, bagels, fruits). Free wine/beer in the evenings.

The Best Western InnSuites is a little dated but the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The fan was a little loud but did keep the room cool. The check-in process was very easy and Chelsea at the front desk was very accommodating. They have a very good breakfast with all of the offerings you would normally expect at a chain type hotel. There is also a free happy hour where they serve snacks, beer and wine. The pool and hot tub were very nice and there is a workout room as well. There are also good restaurants within walking distance .

We started our Arizona vacation in Phoenix. After acclimating ourselves and relaxing we were ready to travel on. This hotel was made even more exciting with a free beer and wine social in the afternoon. There was a choice of different beers and wine. They also served nachos with spinach and artichoke dip, chili and melted cheese. The children in attendance also enjoyed the popcorn and pretzels with various soft drinks. After relaxing, we routed out next 7 days in Arizona. Great time!!

We paid a lot to stay here, due to spring break/spring training. Even so, I expected to have a tidy room. There was some trash left in my room (cardboard and styrofoam packaging), and the beds were a little messy like they'd been made up in a hurry, which I'm sure is true but not a good feeling when you come into your room. Carpet and tubs need replaced. My closet had exposed wood, like they were in the middle of renovating. Breakfast was okay. My colleague's room was very noisy, but mine wasn't too bad.

The location is very good. The exhaust fan in our bathroom did not work and every time the shower was turned on in the room above us, there was a loud burst of noise. The carpet needs to be cleaned. The Social Hour amenity was nice.

Room was not clean, however desk staff and shift manager offered to make it right. Room was right above eating area, and strong food smell came into the room. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient.

We stayed at Best Western Inn Suites for a quick hot second. You can see they have done a lot of renovations and it looks beautiful. Front desk staff was very pleasant at check in and the rooms were comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer but this trip was an emergency and it served its purpose. Next time we plan on staying longer to enjoy all amenities.

Stayed 3 nights with son, daughter and their families. Experience overall was very good. Pool and breakfast along with evening cocktails and snacks were all well done. Price was higher than normal for all area hotels due to Cactus League games in full swing.

I reserved a room on Booking.com when I arrived the room which I had already paid for I was told the room was not available. I was offered an alternative room that did not have enough bags for our party. The room was disgusting dirty half of the plugs did not work the bath did not drain the hairdryer was broken and nonexistent and finally it was dirty Bug infested place to sleep with uncomfortable. See the pictures of a bug of which there were many in our room with my accompanying photos. I will never stay at best Western again. While the breakfast was OK it was nothing special. The pool area is small and rather haggard. I honestly can't think of a single good thing to say about this place other than it is in the OK part of town. There are so many better options all over Scottsdale I don't know whyAnyone would choose to stay here.

My wife and I stayed at the above named property from January 30th through February 28th. Nick Thompson and his staff made our stay a very enjoyable visit. The staff from the front desk, breakfast crew, happy hour person, and housekeeping were very polite and professional. It is always a pleasant experience to stay there.

The location is marvelous to enjoy a stay in the Phoenix area: Spring training games, Desert Botanical Garden, Tallesin West, beautiful landscape and terrain fir walks/hikes. Nearby restaurants are wonderful, the rooms are very nicely remodeled, staff is very cordial and helpful.

Great staff helped make the the stay great! A complimentary happy hour and attentive friendly staff made it a great stay. He Renovations in the rooms provided a clean, modern space with great storage!! Thanks Nick and team!!

This is an older property that will be very nice when remodel is complete. Sad to have the happy hour with workmen laying tile 4' away and a cement truck pouring after 5pm. Jackhammer was awful. Room nicely redone except door was about 2" short of floor. Noise and debris issue. Sad the construction was not noted on the website.

This hotel was recently renovate rooms that are quite nice and comfortable. The hotel lobby and breakfast area is still under construction. The check-in process was very efficient. The breakfast was the standard fare. Dining options for dinner in the area are good.

This is a very nice inn. Near freeway and very easy to the international airport. Currently they are in upgrade mode for some rooms and lobby. Very nice pool and rooms. Bountiful breakfast with attendents whom really care. Evening socal hour with free beer, wine and snacks. Great place to stay in Phoenix.

This hotel is in the middle of a major remodel. Saw cutting tiles morning to night seven days a week in guest rooms and in the walkways. Yes, even on Sunday till after 5 pm. Jack hammering out the concrete ramp. Dust everywhere. Constant noise. You should hope no ADA inspectors come for a visit. Breakfast room being remodeled as people eat there. The hotel should have been closed for the remodel. Very poor experience despite being refunded $50 at the end of my four day stay. Constant noise. Housekeeping staff yelling to each other down the hallways. The whacka whacka whacka noise of the housekeeping carts going over the tile seams outside my room. Workers everywhere. Do you like the noise of saw cutting tiles and the clouds of concrete dust? If not, don't stay here. Staff did hose down the walkways, my door and window every day to help get rid of the dust. Breakfast room was in the middle of being remodeled. Limited breakfast choices. Note, I am a repeat guest and never in my wildest dreams expected this. They put money over safety and guest comfort.

The hotel was great. Walls a little to thin as you hear everything going on right outside your window and door and you can hear the people up above you. Then someone's room had a flood at 5 in the morning panic and the hotel seem frantic.

Good hotel for what it is. Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Great bed (brand new Simmons mattress), fantastic upgrades in the bathroom, great carpet. Overall, I'd say the the interior really surprises how nice it is compared to the outside of the hotel. The lobby is going through what looks like will be an awesome upgrade. Importantly, the room was very clean. I saw some other rooms complaining about the state of the rooms upon check-in. I did not find any issues with the room. Front desk staff was great. We arrived early, and they stashed our bags for the rest of the day while we were out. Once we checked in, it was nice and quick. This isn't a Westin, a Sheraton, etc....but the room I stayed in could easily be mistaken for one. For the BW brand, this hotel will most likely exceed expectations once the renovation is done. Only minor gripe is the AC unit seems to be centrally controlled and not from the room. This may be due to the ongoing construction. But they kept the room nice and cool so this wasn't an actual problem.

First the GOOD, they let me in my room early but an hour or so. They took $50.00 off my bill. The BAD, construction all around me, under and both sides. Room was very tired. Needed to be under construction. Water turned off during the day each day. No room refresh either day. Probably thought my room was under construction too. Should have told me when I made the reservation. No place to sit at breakfast either.

Booked this hotel as part of a delta vacation package for my trip to Phx. Hotel was under construction when we arrived, which we were not made aware of. They are transforming the lobby into a disability and wheelchair friendly area as well as renovating rooms. This hotel is very dated but the location is nice and central to the highway and other shops. We were accommodated very nicely by the GM in the changing of our rooms due to construction issues. Overall our stay was alright, honestly I would not book this hotel again personally.

I thoight innsiites was an odd name. Inn & Suites would make more sense to me. Tje young lady who checked me in I think hee name was Chandricia (probably butchered the spelling) but I think it is close enough for her to recognized as an exemplary employee.obby under renovations no big deal it has to happen. I hope rooms are next. Very dated and mismatched. One tv doesn't work the other is to fuzzy to watch. Glad I have Netflix on my Kindle. I'll have maintenance come by tommorrow and we'll see how it goes. Here for 5 days so I'll update the post with any improvements. Thanks and stay tuned...

This hotel is dated, unkept and just plain like a Motel 6. In all fairness, it's undergoing a renovation. However, this property should be closed while work is being completed. worst rating I've ever given a hotel.

Would stay here again and recommend it to others. Best western has good prices, places, and locations. this location is also a dog friendly hotel, and the grounds appeared very clean for as many animals that I saw.

Have been staying here on and off for about 5 years now for the most part the hotel is clean, quiet and safe that said our last stay was a big disappointment. First check in and housekeeping staff are all very friendly and receptive A+. Our keys (both) on 4 separate occasions stopped working and had to be reprogrammed which was annoying since we were always returning to our room with arm loads of stuff. They stopped working for both sets so it was not like they got demagnetized which sometimes happens. Breakfast staff had women on all days texting constantly. The texting did not concern me however when they do it with the plastic gloves on (the same one they serve the food with) there goes my appetite, so we stuck to cereal. The tall young man in the breakfast was receptive and helpful he was A++.The breakfast area does not flow at all with multiple doors and all of the people jammed up in the front all trying to access all food items in 1 place. Suggestion: decide on pancakes or waffles, and get a restaurant quality toaster that can make toast in under 3-5 minutes. Move the cold items to the rear to allow better movement. For the third year in a row we heard the "pool heater broke down yesterday" story. Funny thing is we were there for two days prior and no one appeared to be working on the pool heater before or during our 7 day stay. In fact we were told by maintenance staff that the hot tub at 85 degrees and pool was at "temperature" he felt the water in both. Really a hot tub should be 100 degrees, and we understand the pool being cool as it is winter, but both were ice cold our entire stay. As to the renovations they seem to be of very poor quality and is a face lift as all fixtures appear to be original (told each room undergoing 7K in renovations). Our tub was permanently stained black on the bottom with drywall texture spray on the tub, tile and floor. The vanity was replaced, however they placed the counter top over the old sink which had a poor fit as it was not the correct size. They "fixed" it by applying massive caulk beads where the sink meets the counter top. Tile around the toilet base is also incomplete. Drywall patching, paint and texture are poor at best and make little effort to hide/match the old from the new. This is by far the most substandard hotel renovation work I have seen in 30 years of over the road travel. The renovation IMHO is not on par for a hotel of this caliber. My understanding is this is supposed to be a showcase hotel near the BW HQ I wonder what other owners and BW staff think? I did check out rates for a spring return trip and at close to $200.00 nightly I will be looking around as the quality of the renovation does not meet the hype. The hotel appears to be slipping.

Hotel staff friendly, otherwise rooms and amenities average, hotel doing renovations so noise of construction a bit bothersome, room smaller than I anticipated, fitness facilities were a disappointment

Place was under massive renovation but it's location was ideal! Easy access to freeways and thoroughfares made accessing any point in the valley relatively easy! Will say the bed was very uncomfortable, but that could be part of the renovations that were underway!

One night stay coming home from Disneyland. I had a trip reward card so decided to use it before it expired. Had 2 rooms. One smelled of paint. Other room was okay. Check in was after 10 pm young lady at check in was kind and courteous. Lobby was nonexistent due to construction. Rather than getting one room that I reserved, we got 2 rooms due to the construction. Breakfast was included and it wasn't bad. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage,waffles, good variety. Stay was okay for one night anymore than that, look elsewhere. Area was a bit shady.

The room was just what we needed--a true suite with a door between two rooms (essential for traveling with a teenager). The complimentary breakfast was generous and the free happy hour was an unexpected benefit. Internet connectivity was simple and speedy.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was obvious that the hotel was old and many "repairs" done in a slap-dash way. TV did not work. Thermostat did not work. Froze in the room. Bed looked like it had been slept in.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and they are pet friendly. I have found that Best Western provides a great stay and experience, regardless of whether it is business or vacation.

Hotel was clean...remodeling going on (but not a problem at all)..MOST staff was friendly and helpful (just don't try to change rooms...even if medically necessary ... one staff member staff was unwilling to work with us (on phone...in person, she was completely different). Really made our stay frustrating...we were dealing with enough stuff from surgery then having to get little help in changing to a bottom level room made it even more so.(we never did change...we left) Felt she could have been more understanding/helpful given our circumstances. Breakfast was good...free wifi...Happy hour was okay (off brand beer)...noise from Northern Ave made it difficult to sleep until very late when traffic slowed (not fault of Hotel) ...hotel itself is rather nice...clean pool/grounds. Would I advise staying there? Sure (just don't make any room changes!!) will we return? Doubtful.

Full breakfast including waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage and gravy. Easy access to frwy. Mostly fast food restaurants near by. Comfortable and plenty of amenities. Comfortable beds and clean. Nice heated pool and spa. Exercise equipment. Room with oversized chair and ottoman and nice desk for business.

Hotel is remodeling, so that was kind of a bummer, however, it was still a nice stay. The workers were respectful and did not start too early, the room I was in was very nice, the pool area and outdoor area were great and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

The hotel was clean, asthetically pleasing, and homey. The staff was very friendly and helful. There was construction going on but they didn't bother us and were also very friendly. The eggs were a little overcooked but the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.

There were some problems because I had some hoops to jump through for my out of state check in. When I finally arrived the general manager helped work them out. The property is going through renovation, so there were issues with noise and such. A pickier guest, or someone with different sleep requirements might have issues, but it didn't bother any of my party. The bedding made the nights rest real nice. The room was a bit dated and fixtures were dreary. The shower was hot and plenty of pressure. All needs and requests were met. The breakfast bar was the best I've had. Overall the stay was just fine. I'd go back.

no loud noise. clean. grounds WELL kept. family and business oriented. breakfast had nice variety. staff was friendly and attentive. all the channels worked. wifi was consistent and parking was decent.

Major problems with both rooms. First room had no heat, maintenance person was not only unable to repair, but left us sitting in the dark. We were told there were no additional rooms, then that we should have gone to the front desk for new room keys. New room had other issues -- smoke detector covered in plastic, bathtub had been repainted, dirty and peeling and should have been replaced. No television remote. Noisy visitors both nights at 3 a.m. We don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was an incredible "adventure," one that we wouldn't wish on anyone else.

I needed accommodates that allowed for pets. The hotel also offered a medical rate, which was a nice plus. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. The staff was great and very helpful.

Their Presidential suites have awesome tubs, they really are worth the cost, and are MUCH cheaper than any other suite nearby. The hot breakfast is one of the best ones you'll see at any hotel, and the staff will make sure you have what you need!

Stay was very good. Room was clean. Everyone friendly. The food for breakfast and evening snacks were great. My friend was able to enjoy them. Location was close to John C Lincoln hospital. Would use this hotel again.

What a great hotel. Great housekeeping staff and front desk. Everyone was kind and helpful. Caitlin was fantastic and went out of her way to chat with us and make us laugh. What amazing service, especially so early in the morning. She made the check out a breeze and was a fun, radiant young woman. We will be back!!

I have been traveling on business every day for nearly two months staying in different hotels every night and my experience at this Best Western was the best by far. The staff was incredible and the rooms were so comfortable. The WiFi is very good and the social hour was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this location to anyone!

The hotel is pretty out of the way, so I can't imagine people would stay here unless they need to, but if you do, you're in for a treat. The people who provide service here are incredible! So nice at the front desk, and I loved the fact that they have a free happy hour with beer every day. The rooms are comfortable, about what you'd expect from a place like BW, but the service was very nice. I liked the fact that it was right near a mountain reserve for some nice weekend hiking as well. Not close to anything, but all easily accessible by cab.

Construction at all hours.junk cars in lot for extended periods of time. Sad because its a good location....construction equiequipment all over lot ...water leaking from 2nd floor... no elevator for elderly and disabled.

Just off highway 51 is an unassuming Best Western hotel that was both comfortable and welcoming. Friendly staff, clean room and good amenities– plus, despite being near the highway, it was very quiet. Great value.

Stayed at Inn Suites again, the room, parking, breakfast, and staff were great as usual. As a senior single lady, I feel safe, secure and welcome. The staff is very friendly and I appreciated their smiles and eye contact when we conversed.

We never worry about staying here it's always going to be a great experience! The rare occurrence when something does goes wrong the staff immediately makes sure the problem is corrected and that you are completely satisfied!

Great place to stay and excellent service. Location was close to where I needed to be, hotel was easy to access from the highway. Hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel for business travel or families traveling to the area.

The staff was kind and did everything they could to help me with whatever I needed. The room was clean and the daily housekeeping did a great job. Even with their renovations happening it still remained quiet. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Only problem is little access problem. Coming from north have to cross traffic to get into reception. Otherwise the motel has a great breakfast, great staff, and nice rooms. Parking is also good for most rooms.

This was a great place, rooms were nice, beds great, towels White!! ac/heating unit Quiet!! breakfast good, hot, plenty of... The rooms come with a nice little coffee maker, and refrigerator plug ins for electronics were plentiful, and in good places.

Would never stay here again. bathroom was dirty, loud, banging on doors with people hollering after midnight. backside was dark and sketchy. Overall, didn't feel safe. Not sure how they pull the reviews they do.

This hotel was chosen because of its location and that we had stayed there before....highly recommend it. clean comfortable well priced and everyone was extremely nice. We will stay again when we return to Phoenix.

great rooms and customer service for the budget conscience. Evening social hour was a nice touch. Well maintained pool and updated rooms added value. Suite rooms were well appointed for price, excellent beds. Near busy roads, but rooms were quiet.

The employees at this hotel are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The breakfast is excellent and they have a free happy hour with beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. The WiFi worked perfectly in our room.

Although the breakfast and registration staff were amazing the housekeeping staff is another story. I constantly had to request that everyday items be replaced such as toilet paper, plastic cups, towels and coffee. The room was not cleaned daily and the bed seemed to be made up each day by just throwing the covers up. Very unfortunate since my previous stay had been a much different experience.

Good location between Sky Harbor & Scottsdale. Nice neighborhood to walk around a little before dinner. Minor repairs were being done when we were there so the hotel did not have it's best foot forward. But repairs were kept to a minimum around guests. Good breakfast. Fast check out. Would stay again if we are in the area.

I stayed for the weekend and enjoyed my time. A little bit of construction noise, but the staff was extremely helpful to remedy the situation. The happy hour and free breakfast will keep me coming back!

Arrived Friday night in Phoenix for a Saturday seminar. The layout of rooms is a bit strange at first, but the young lady at the desk provided a map with impeccable directions, which was good because I'm a guy and you know how were are with asking for directions. We had a pet-friendly room, and it worked great for our needs. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and the staff did a fantastic job of juggling everyone with their questions & requests. The family-style seating threw us at first, but it turned out to be a real treat. We met some really nice folks, learned about them, and left better than when we had arrived.

We were in between houses and booked this hotel at the last minute, getting a very good "last minute" deal. We checked in around 5:00 p.m. and found a "social hour" going on in the dining room. Free beer from a local microbrewery, wine, chips, salsa, pretzels and popcorn in front of the big screen TV. The room was clean and spacious and came with a microwave and refrigerator. There are no restaurants on the property, but there are plenty of good ones in the area on 16th Street. In the morning, they had a breakfast buffet complete with eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereals, yogurt, juices, coffees and teas. The area affords beautiful views of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, just not from our room.

My room was a suite (266) and was above average for a Best Western motel. The only complaint I have is that the noise from the adjacent roadway (Northern Avenue) is very loud starting at about 5 am. I suggest NOT getting room 266 unless they offer you a discount and you don't have a problem with waking up at 5 am. Other suites probably are not as bad as this one was. Pool and Hot Tub are in great shape; nice breakfast.

Our trip to Arizona for 6 nights was a good experience. The motel is undergoing some major changes in the renovation of rooms, pool and spa repair, along with appearance changes to the outside of the facility, which gives a very nice street appeal. All the staff is very courteous and professional. We have stayed at there many times and will certainly stay there again when in Phoenix.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The suite room was excellent, roomy, clean, great ammenities, and the complimentary breakfasts were very good. The rooms were cleaned and beds made each day. All staff was very friendly.

We stayed here many times years ago and loved it. We finally came back and they're even better! Staff is still amazing! Katelyn at the front is awesome every year! Kind, attentive, and a customer service ninja! Housekeeping is great and maintenance is always there to help. Managment is present which is refreshing and wonderufl. All in all, great hotel!

I would reccomend this hotel to anybody! This was my first stay in this location, but not my first stay with Best Western. The young lady that checked me in was so helpful and kind, offered restaurant recommendations, and even offered to print directions. She called the room when we actually got checked in to ask if everything was okay,which was very ncie and hospitable. Thank you Kayla! We will be back!!!

This is a great hotel to stay at. Safe area. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and beds are comfortable. I have stayed here quite a few times sometimes several days at a time when traveling on business. I do suggest you make reservations because they do sell out often. Parking is easy and feels safe with my work truck. I can rest at night knowing it is a good area of Phoenix.

Dirty floor, exposed wires, broken tub jets, standing water in shower and pool was broken. We had high expections upon making reservation, pix on sight looked nice! Very nice girl at the desk immediately informed us pool was broken. It went down hill from there.

This would have been a nice stay if it wasn't for the construction going on during our visit. We were looking forward to the pool and the hot tub but found out too late that they were going to be closed during our stay. They also re-pave the parking lot in front of our side of the hotel during that time.

The staff was very nice, in person and on the phone. We arrived late at night and only spent a night here before our departure. The room is a bit small. No elevator. The AC was turned off at night for some reason and we were sweating. AC was a bit noisy too. Location is fine. Not too far from the airport.

The staff at this hotel is so wonderful in every way. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated as well as very spacious. Beds and pillows are fabulous. Breakfast is just the best. Love the new yogurt machine with all the fixings. Hot breakfast with EVERYTHING! The location gives access to any direction you want to go for shopping, dining, hiking (walking distance) and sight seeing. There is even a daily free happy hour. Free internet. They have it all. We have been staying at this hotel in Phoenix for years and it just keeps getting better!

This Besst Western suited our needs well on our short stay in Phoenix. The location was important for us in relation to airport and activities in Glendale and Scottsdale, AZ. The staff and rooms were great and the breakfast outstanding.

This Best Western Hotel is in a great location. The grounds are well cared for, the pool and hot tub are very nice. The happy hour is a treat and the breakfast has a wide variety of good food. And don't forget to pick up a newspaper at the front desk.

Nice hotel, however, not like the typical smaller town BW you would find in Prescott, Moab, etc. The only thing I noticed out of sorts was a slightly dirty (bottom side) toilet seat. Overall, we will definitely consider staying here again. Good bang for the buck.

Everybody from general manager , Mila the sales director to all the housekeepers and front desk staff were great, This is a wonderful place to be whether you are on vacation or business trip. It is very clean, pool is neat and towels are always there if you need them.

Comfortable room, ample breakfast, nice "happy hour". I especially enjoyed the popcorn. (Pepsi would have made it perfect.) Some staff tried to help my son-in-law get into his car after he locked his keys in the trunk! We will definitely stay here when we come back to visit our granddaughter.

The room was pleasant and I enjoyed having a comfy chair to sit in. The pool and other amenities were nice and I enjoyed using them. It was nice having breakfast available in the morning and social hour in the afternoon.

Overall, an excellent experience in all regards. This will be me go-to Hotel for future stays. Friendly staff and many unexpected amenities. Although I was unable to take advantage, the complementary happy hour was a big plus.

I stayed at this motel last Spring, woke up in the morning with bug bites all over. I did a review which included photos of the gross mattress, including tears and yellow stains. I also pointed out that there were about 20 mattresses in the parking lot being thrown out.I had stayed at this motel many times in the past. HOWEVER, my review never saw the light of day. I checked again today and it's not there. How can I trust TripAdvisor for my future searches if they won't print all the negative reviews??

Very noisy walls extremely thin and rooms on corners are laid out very strangely and any one who passes by you can hear every step and conversation (even the yelling). We normally enjoy staying at Best Western but will defiantly pass on this location.

Whenever I do a review for Trip Advisor, I attempt to accentuate the positive about the place I'm reviewing. After all, there's enough negativity in the world these days. In the case of the Best Western InnSuites Phoenix, that's going to be a bit of a challenge. So I'll get the challenging part of this review out of the way first. The BW InnSuites Phoenix has fantastic location, just west of the AZ-51 freeway off Northern Avenue. The views of the foothills to the north are very nice, if you can get a northern facing room. And the rooms themselves are quite nice: many of them are two room suites, one for sitting/entertaining friends, the other is the bedroom. I found my two room suite to be well furnished. And in those two room suites, you have a television in each room. The complimentary breakfast every morning is well stocked with a variety of hot and cold items, and the BW InnSuites Phoenix also features a social hour daily from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, featuring free wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks (chips & salsa, popcorn and pretzels.) Finally, the staff is quite friendly and helpful. With the good points addressed, it's now time to delve into some of the problem areas with this hotel. I found out when I checked in that this hotel is undergoing some renovations. The most significant of these is to the plumbing system, and I don't know how long these renovations will take until complete. This manifests itself with the water being turned off in the particular building being worked on between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. (The hotel complex is made up of three buildings featuring the rooms, surrounding a pool deck.) That time frame for water shut off is done to correspond with the time guests will be out of their rooms on business or sight-seeing. If, however, you aren't planning a day out, during this time you won't be able to get a glass of tap water, wash your hands, take a shower or use the toilet. Part of my morning routine is to watch a particular business channel on cable I'm rather fond of. Not many hotels carry this channel on their array of cable networks, so I was quite pleased when I checked in and found the BW InnSuites Phoenix did carry it. But I discovered after settling into my room that while the television in the bedroom got this channel, the television in the sitting room gave me an error message when I tried to tune it in: it read “Weak or No Signal, check the antenna cable connection.” When I enquired about this at the front desk, I was told this was another facet of the renovations taking place, but they would ask maintenance to investigate. Whatever maintenance did, it didn't work: the following morning, neither television got my business channel. And a quick channel surfing expedition revealed my favorite business channel was not the only one affected with this error message. Still, I'm guessing not many people come to Phoenix on vacation or business simply to spend time in their room watching TV, so this might not put you off. The final issue to bring to light is wake-up calls. Let me advise you up front that if you plan to stay at the BW InnSuites Phoenix, you would be well advised to bring your own alarm clock. Both nights I stayed, I requested a wake-up call at 5:00 AM, and both mornings, the call did not come. As a result, both mornings I ended up starting my day 45 minutes later than I'd intended. If you're on a tight schedule, don't rely on the hotel's wake-up call system to help you start your day. On balance, while this hotel is well located and offers many amenities travelers will appreciate, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place until the renovations are completed. And hopefully, part of those renovations will involve a repair to the wake-up call system.

This hotel was okay. Too far from food, activities and attractions. Comfortable and clean, pool was nice. I'd recommend a short stay as you have to drive to.....Everything. Very quiet. I wish I could say more but after a week stay.....Nothing great comes to mind.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. Those are the important things. We had room 149 which is at the back and at an end so it was nice and quiet. Parking was easy so I could run out to the car easily when we needed anything. We did laundry while we were there. It's very convenient to put clothes in the washer, go have breakfast, put the clothes in the dryer and have a swim then get on with the day. That's exactly what we did. The laundry is in the small building attached to the pool so it's very convenient. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices from eggs and sausage to cereals and waffles. The last day of our stay there was no orange juice and it took awhile to refill the sausages. Some people were loading up several plates and taking them out though so that may have been part of the problem. The TV had a little problem too. Sometimes when changing the channel, it would just start showing a message that the channel wasn't available when it was something we had just watched. We also didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign to hang on the door so a couple of times the maid came to our room when we were not ready. That was in no way her fault, there should have been a sign for the door. During our last full day of our stay we left at about noon and returned at about 7:00. After a long day in the city, our room key wouldn't work so we had to go to the front desk to get that fixed. As soon as we entered our room I could hear running water. Our bathtub water was on full blast and the water was about an inch from the top of the tub. We turned the water off immediately and called the front desk. I explained what happened and told them that there was a dirty ring at the top of the water level. She told me someone would be over to clean it. An hour later a staff member arrived to clean it. The bathmat that had been over the rim of the tub was soaking wet, there were no washcloths and no soaps or shampoo. I'm not sure what happened, but this is very unusual in my experience with Best Westerns. Hopefully because I spoke to the front desk staff about this twice it won't happen again.

Close to airport, good restaurants, shopping, hiking and Hwy 51. The staff is helpful and pleasant. We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. Always enjoy our time. Some pet friendly rooms.

I recently stayed one night at this property to be in Phoenix for my brother-in-law's surgery. I had a king non-smoking studio with a microwave and frig. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was courteous. With my AAA Discount, the rate was very good. I would recommend and I would consider staying at this hotel the next time I am in the Phoenix area.

Great prices for this Best Western. Excellent service...happy workers, Very good breakfast for a free hotel breakfast. Close location to airport. Excellent AC. Instant service when required. Pool, hot tub and workout room on premises clean and open great hours.

Professional and Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast! Many close by restaurants that also deliver. They are renovating the rooms and the location made it easy to UBER around. i enjoyed my stay and would stay again!

The staff are very accommodating and welcoming, the rooms was luxurious for a mid range price. The bathrooms is luxurious with a jet stream whirlpool tub. There is not elevator access, only stairs so be sure if you need AD access you let them know when you book. :-)

My friend and I found this BW online on our way back to Phoenix, where we wanted to stay somewhat north of the city. Of all the BWs I've stayed at over the years, this is an older facility. The room was very clean, but the tiling in the bathroom was showing its wear. The thermostat for the air conditioner, though it looked new, did not seem to be functioning well--sometimes the room was too cold, at other times too stuffy. Shortly before I arrived, a transformer had blown out, and the front desk did not have a functioning computer. I have to praise the staffer at the front desk, Caesare (sp?), who couldn't have been nicer, as well as totally calm and helpful. She was professional all the way. Various notes from the manager in the room and elsewhere indicated that improvements are being made. I can't complain about the rate, which was very reasonable.

Very nice hotel with everything we needed. Close to activities but far enough from downtown to avoid getting caught in any congestion. Staff was friendly, efficient, and well informed of their surrounding area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect for filling your stomach and hitting the road. Plenty of variety from which to choose. If you're inclined, there is a social hour in the evening, an exercise room and a clean pool and spa for your enjoyment.

The hotel was very loud. The walls are so thin we could hear the tv in the next room and thought our tv was on without a picture. The first night I stayed in a room next to the fitness room and people kept slamming the door to the fitness room at all hours. You should not be able to enter after 9 or so at night if someone is in the room next to it. Not only were people slamming the door but they were also very loud in the room. I moved to a different room the following two nights and the shower was terrible bc the faucet pull wouldn't pull all the way up for the shower to go on all the way. The toilet overflowed the next morning for no apparent reason that we caused. The staff was very quick to clean up but the guy who came in to plunge walked in the puddle without shoe covers then walked across our carpet. Gross! Also, the ac in both rooms blows so hard on the bed next to the ac and you can't move the vents to blow a different direction. Therefore the person sleeping on the bed closest to the ac freezes but if you put the air up so it doesn't blow then everyone is hot. Breakfast was okay...except it was gross how the handle of the spoon that everyone was touching to get the fruit was in the fruit and all the apples that were nicely wrapped that we took from the basket were bruised or bad. Coffee, juices, oatmeal and waffles were great. Service was great at the hotel. Unfortunately you seem to draw a rough and rather rude crowd who were very loud late at night and others who left dog mess for others to clean up. So these things paired with the in room issues made me not want to stay there again. Your employees however were great!

The hotel is average for this price range. We originally booked a king executive suite. Very small rooms and the bed was a queen, not a king. Very noisy as it was on the main thoroughfare side of the hotel. Room decor was dated and the sofa bed mattress our daughter slept on was the thinnest mattress we had ever seen on a hotel sofa bed. The next morning our request for a different room was handled very efficiently by the front desk and we were assured it was no problem for them to do so. Within 2 hours we received a call that our new room was ready. As there were no other suites available, we were given a double queen room in the building that had recently undergone renovation. Nice room and actually larger than the suite. Breakfast was also average for this type of hotel. The waffles were hot and delicious. The only food that was hot. The eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and potatoes were only lukewarm each morning. The attendant in the breakfast room did provided excellent service.

I traveled to Phoenix with my family a few weeks back to attend a funeral service for a close family member. Although the grounds for visiting were not pleasant, our stay was remarkable and everyone went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my young children. We felt right at home. Specifically, Sam and Katlyn at the front desk truly made our stay a memorable one. Katlyn was friendly and full of recommendations for restaurants and things for our family to do while in town. She even got us into the Children's Museum downtown for free, which made my kid's day! I wish I could rate this hotel a 6 out of 5 stars!!!!

In town to pick up our grandson at the airport. Very easy commute to the airport. The room was very nice and very relaxing. With everything you get from this hotel, it is extremely reasonable for the price.

I recently had a flood in the house and had to move out for an abatement. I chose to stay at the Best Western Inn Suites as it was close to home and not far from work. I was booked in a two room suite with a microwave and fridge. The first suite was on the northwest corner of the property on the second floor. I asked to be moved as this room would have traffic noise from both 16th street and Northern ( both heavily traveled streets). There was no problem switching even though the hotel was almost fully booked. The second room was very good although a bit noisy on the weekends as it was right next to the laundry room (room 127). The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected. They offered fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, sausage, bagels, toast, coffee tea and juice. Quite a spread! The Wi-fi was good and easily connected to. The workout room was adequate and clean. There was a pool and jacuzzi easily accessible and clean. All in all, it was a nice stay and I would go there again.

The hotel staff were all extremely nice. The room was exactly as expected with Best Western. The pool needed a good cleaning but the pool area was nice. The breakfast was good and the staff kept things fresh and filled throughout. The hotel good use an update but it looked like they were in the process of doing that now. We had a great time at our staycation!

Our room was on the second floor and there are no elevators, so ask for a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage like we did. As you move around the property, you are underwhelmed but the room was awesome! We had a suite with a separate room for the kids and they had their own TV and full bath. Plenty of space in both rooms for luggage, places to sit including desks and living sets. Everything was very clean and beautiful. We slept well. The bar/lounge area looked nice but the offerings were a little disappointing. The gym was clean with all modern equipment.

We arrived late but rested well and took advantage of the yummy breakfast. Lots of renovations were being completed so it was noisy and kinda difficult to get to disabled parking but we managed. Staff were all polite and kind.

The hotel is easy to get to off the freeway. During rush hour it is hard to get into the parking lot. To get into the main lobby the railings are really as there is no shade on the metal railings. The trash cans need to have trash bages in them.

It is very easy to locate this wonderful hotel and to exit Rt. 51, then re-enter Rt. 15, It is located in a very nice part of Phoenix, calmer and more desert beautiful than most. The rooms are updated and clean.

This Hotel goes out of their way for every guest. When I checked in, my room had an issue and when it brought to the attention of the Front Desk.........BAMM ! Problem solved. They have upgraded the Breakfast and of course the is a Happy Hour every night. Great place to stay, Quite Area and great access to the Freeway.

Very satisfied. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was really great for a complimentary hotel breakfast. Social hours (happy hour) was a a plus. Pool needs to be cleaned more often due to debris from palm trees. Really was the only bad part of it.

As a business traveler there are a few things I look for and that is the room to be clean & comfortable. This property has that and more. The changes to the breakfast has been awesome. Something for everyone - healthy. Other reasons I like this property - outlets are available for all my electronic needs. The staff - whether maintenance, front desk or breakfast staff - all actually want to help where needed. Kudo's to management and staff that make the business appear seamless.

We Were Checked In by a very pleasant & professional Desk Clerk. Most importantly, the bed and pillows were very comfy, the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast included was tasty & hot, and they even had a complimentary Happy Hour. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at this property. Location is great - close to the 51, Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Biltmore area, and 7th St./Central Ave bistros and shops. (Also needed to visit family in NW Phoenix). Quality and Consistency stars for friendly staff, cleanliness, sparkling pool, fresh linens, lots of towels, and good coffee. The pool area ran out of towels in the evening and they were immediately refreshed when we asked at the office. Everything works - a/c, lights, remote, etc. and pool shuts down at 10pm for a good night's sleep. Slightly older property but a great value for a great price.

Thank you Best Western in Phoenix! My family booked rooms there last weekend and it was a last minute trip to visit family that we don't really get the opportunity to visit with because they are service men in the US ARMY so it was a really special trip for us. Caesarea was the woman at the front desk when I checked in. She was very helpful and friendly, as it was really late and she took the time to actually talk to me and give me the ins and outs of the hotel, she mentioned the complimentary breakfast and the free socia hour. I asked her for any reccommendations as far as activities to do with kids and she was very helpful to me! She showed me all the brochures from the wall and went through which ones were worth doing. Long story short, we all stayed there the whole weekend and the rooms were clean, presentable, and cozy and it was a great stay at an affordable price and not to mention, the breakfast was good too. We will definetly stay again if we are ever in that area in the future. The only downside of our stay was that there was only decaf coffee in our room lol. Thank you for a great comfortable weekend. :) and thank you again Caesarea, give that girl a raise!

My family and friends flew in for my daughters graduation. We stayed 10 nights. Two reasons I'm not giving a 5. The first is I'm not sure it was totally the hotels fault but I reserved a handicapped accessible room but when we got there they said it was pet friendly and they had no handicapped rooms available. This was a major disappointment. Traveling with a handicapped person is stressful as it it. The second which I know they were working on was the tv was not working well. They didn't have a lot of the stations like CBS. The room was fine for an able bodied family. Microwave, iron, hair dryer and fridge. Bathroom was small. They have computers in the lobby. There was a workout room but it was minimal. All rooms have outside entry, no interior halls. Breakfast every morning- waffles, eggs, yogurt, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal. They also have free beer and wine happy hour every day. They have pretzels, popcorn and chips and salsa as well. It is very close to the 51, easy off and on. Staff was very friendly.

As in previous experiences with Best Western, this was a very comfortable, relaxing stay. Starting with a very helpful check-in experience, we retired to find a well-appointed room and a most comfortable bed. Our room as clean, it smelled fresh, and had plenty of amenities. Air conditioning made the room comfortable in spite of the unusually warm weather during our stay. The coffee at breakfast was unusually good, though we aren't big on breakfast. Best Western will certainly be our first choice on our next trip.

We did like the room with window next to ice machine! People used all night until midnight & made lots of noise could not sleep! Move ice machine away from rooms! Breakfast was great, location was great!

The customer service at this hotel is outstanding. I stay at this hotel several times a year. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and many have been recently updated . The Wi-Fi works great. Whenever I have had an issue with something, usually the TV, a call to the front desk gets the problem taken care of quickly. The staff at this hotel is friendly, professional, and truly want to make your stay comfortable.

My wife and I only stayed one night at Best Western InnSuites Phoenix Hotel & Suites but it was great. Not too far from the airport but far enough away not to hear the planes all night. Staff was great, bed was comfortable. We will go back someday.

I stayed here for business and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The woman at check-in was great to chat with and helped me get oriented. She found a nice quiet room for me on the 2nd floor facing south (the back) away from the pool and eating area - I was most appreciative. The room was a bit old, but nice a spacious, and quiet! The breakfast was absolutely superb! Very friendly staff and lots to choose from. I will warn you that it gets very very busy the later you go so go early!! There was a happy hour as well with beer and wine and chips/popcorn/etc in the breakfast area which was nice as well. All in all a very good stay for a couple nights.

The location was just right for us, Came for my daughter softball tournament :) The staff was very friendly and overall all experience was great. I would recommend this property and will return in the future.

I stayed 5 days while visiting friends in Phoenix. I had a handicapped room which was perfect for my mobility issues. Breakfast was good and all staff were very friendly and helpful. I had no complaints, Very quiet area to stay.

This Best Western was very clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was good. We had a problem with our telephone and it was quickly fixed. Although the pool was closed for maintenance, the friendly staff gave me extra reward points to compensate. I will definitely return here.

I needed to stay one night while traveling. I found this hotel along the way, and read the reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice, and it was clean. The pool was closed the evening I arrived due to maintenance, so I can't comment on it. I was disappointed because I really wanted to utilize it, but not a big deal. Breakfast was the standard waffles, eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, etc. The air conditioner was really loud when it kicked in, one of those under the window along the wall units. Not horrible, just louder than I would have liked. The hotel is situated against the hills, in a very pretty part of the valley. My room faced the hills, with lots of trees, so my view was nice. I would stay again to break up a long trip, but probably wouldn't stay for more than one night.

I love trail running, and nearby this hotel are miles and miles of beautiful trails. There's also a lot of nice streets if you prefer running roads. Forget some gear? Stop by the Runners Den, which is about as good as running stores get. The pool and pool area look beautiful with outdoor grills you can use, and all the surroundings look very nice. Even though it's right off the main road, it feels a little secluded.

The two room suite (including two bathrooms), friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast were all plusses, and a much better deal than the mega resort next door where we were attending a conference! That said, bed was too soft to suit me, and the Jacuzzi was clean on the outside, but when we cleaned it twice before using, by running cascade and bleach solution through it (the recommended procedure), the amount of black crud coming from the tub jets was disgusting, even on the second rinse!! We opted to not use the tub, as we had two regular tubs to use. In short, I'd stay there again, but wouldn't use the Jacuzzi!

From the outside and guestroom appearance, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, comfortable bed, extra amenities… We couldn't believe what a nice stay we had, and for such a low price as well! We will come back here again.

I was honestly impressed with the quality of this hotel. I didn't bother to check the reviews until I booked and so many of them were negative that I started to get really worried that I'd booked something awful. The hotel was awesome, though. The room was very clean and orderly, and I felt very safe the entire time I stayed here. Nothing was dirty and all the plumbing worked great. I will DEFINITELY stay here next time I go to Phoenix. It was a great choice, and a steal for the price.

I went to AZ to attend my Commencement at GCU. My stay at the Best Western was AWESOME!! The location was ideal, the facility is beautiful and the Customer Service was amazing. Breakfast was expected, but the happy hour was a pleasant surprise. Free beverages and snacks every day!

This hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant. I loved the fact it was close access to anywhere you want to go. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool. Close to all amenities. Our room was restocked with clean towels daily. In the evening it was very quite which is always nice as you are trying to go to sleep.

We always stay here when visiting family as it is the closest hotel. However, besides being convenient to SR 51, we have always found it clean. We like the convenience of the sink being separate from the shower/toilet area. The breakfast is okay, typical of this type of hotel.

This hotel is in an area close to a freeway but away enough that the noise is not a problem. The infrastructure is very nice and the employees friendly and helpful. The amenities are great and you get this all for a very good price. When I am in Phoenix, this will be my spot to stay!

My fiance and I stayed here for a week. The entire week was running perfe fly smooth and the staff was always friendly. This was until the day I checked out... I forgot my make up bag and a few items in the room, immediately called when I realized and was on hold for 45 minutes. They were "searching". I told them the exact room, time of checkout, everything! Never heard anything. I also sent an email later again with the description of the items, which was in total atleast $250.00 all brand new stuff! No one even bothered to respond to my email. Wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't want stuff stolen, or atleast be sure never leave anything behind because you won't see it again!

We booked this hotel on line. We were not familiar with the area at all but knew we would be driving to Surprise for two games. It is conviently located to the freeway and was easy on and off. No charge for parking. Breakfast was good every morning although it was the same stuff each day. Happy hour was chips and popcorn with wine and beer. Kids at the pool got loud a couple nights but was promptly cleared out around 10pm. I recommend a room away from the pool if you retire early. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the rate was very affordable.

Very smooth & easy check in! Loved the wine & beer served in the evening. Was asked if we preferred top floor or bottom floor which was really nice! Had a comfortable stay :) staff at the front desk at check in & check out were smiley & friendly!

Great service and my room was very clean. Great location easy access to the freeway internet good and also pool was very clean. I like this hotel and I use it again if I ever come back to Phoenix. I got a nice room on the second floor with a view to mountains. The front desk always very professional

Super job and clean hotel STAY There. extremely helpful staff. EASY PLACE TO GO ANY WNERE IN THE Phoenix. great ACESS TO A hIGHWAYS. lots TO DO AND SEE WITH OUT TRAVELING TOO FAR 20 TO 25 MILES THE MOST. The staff gave such good suggestions to eat at local restaurants in the neighborhood too.

Phoenix is normally hot when we are there. This was no exception . Hotel was easy to access off the highway. Great setting with outdoor amenities. We enjoyed our stay. Exceptionally clean. Not ready for us when we checked in. Had to wait over two hours fir room . Room was being deep cleaned and sanitized after prior occupants.

I am hesitant to write this review because I usually only write positive reviews. I checked in and went to my room. The room smells bad and has dirty carpeting and is very dated. There is a black substance around the bathtub and the tv didn't work. I couldn't stay in that room so I went to the front desk and I was told that they have newer remodeled rooms but he didn't know which ones they were. I left for a meeting and when I came back I was given a room that was supposedly newly remodeled. If five or ten years is recent, then yes, it's a newly remodeled room. There was no black stuff around the tub but the carpet, even though it's brown, looked filthy and the room smelled bad. The door had three locks on it but ironically the window had no screen so if the window was open someone could just step right in to the room. I was asked by a Best Western representative why I didn't ask the front desk for a screen for the window and I said why don't you people walk around and check their rooms? At 9:00PM I was called by a man that introduced himself as the on-duty manager. He needed the credit card number of the person paying for the room because something happened with their computer and they didn't have the credit card number. There was a bit of conversation but I refused to give the phone number of the one who was financially responsible. I yelled at the guy and hung up. He called back and once again, I yelled at him and hung up. He didn't call back until 3:00AM. I couldn't believe it. It was beginning to feel like the twilight zone. I jumped up threw on my clothes grabbed my bag and got the hell out of there. It was good. I got up real early and began my drive to LA and didn't feel tired. I called the hotel and told them that one of their workers was calling me at inappropriate times of the day. She informed me that someone was scamming hotel guests. I said well then don't put those people through to guest room phones and was told they had to. I spoked with two or three people at the hotel to express my disappointment in the entire experience. I didn't get much empathy. Then I called corporate headquarters and had a much more sympathetic ear. I was told someone will get back to me right away. Maybe next week? I met one of the housekeepers in the hall and she was very nice.

Excellent stay, very polite and helpful front desk staff. Room was excellent, as we were upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite. The front desk called to see if the room was to our liking, a nice touch. The hot Breakfast was excellent. The hotel accommodated our need for a delayed check out.

I think this hotel deserves a 5/5 for a Best Western. My family (4 of us, 2 teenage sons) stayed the last week of March. The hotel was super easy to get to from the airport. When we travelled to the various places like sporting events in Glendale or downtown, again super easy to get to. We had a room facing Northern Ave, and no, you cannot hear the traffic from your room. There is lots of parking at the hotel. The maid service does a fabulous job. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Need another towel? Just ask. The computers in the lobby work great. The wifi in the room works well, as long as you are not gaming on your device. (Some glitches there, but that is pretty minor). My boys loved the exercise room and I enjoyed the warmth of the pool. There is a place to hangout and cook on a BBQ, if you choose. My boys loved the free breakfast and I loved the fact that breakfast was off my spending list. Again great staff first thing in the morning assisting with breakfast. My husband enjoyed the social hour. All in all, it was a great time. There is nothing more we could have asked for. Thanks again.

The service at this hotel was good. The breakfast was delish! There was a big pool, exercise room, easy access to this hotel. Restaurants, shopping close by, it was family-oriented. The décor was warm and welcoming.

They need to replace the mattresses and fix the plumbing! Our mattress was so squashed it should be hauled directly to the dump . Our toilet did not flush and I went to use the toilet off the lobby. Unfortunately, the women's bathroom was off limits due to the toilet flooding and there was no one to attend to it.

Renovation needed hotel looks dated. Exterior as well as In room the walls. Also the shower was leaking when off. The staff was great very attending and took care of guest nicely. Social hour in evening was a good thing they offered.

Having arrived after a 4 hour drive from vegas, we were unsure of location as never been to Phoenix. There are shops and restaurants but your need to drive, mountain walks about 10 mins away, we were welcomed with a friendly, helpful quick check in. We were informed about the breakfast & social hour but also to be mindful of possible telephone scams. Room was jr suite 136, bedroom smaller than expected however you do have a separate seating area, bedding clean and comfy, towels were white and fluffy, maid service was great. Good size fridge and microwave if needed. Pool area was clean and pool heated, only small so could get really busy. Breakfast has a selection of cereals, toast, pastries, make own waffles, egg, sausage, hash pots, biscuit / gravy, fruit , yogurt etc. It is not meant to be a la carte but if your hungry there will be something for you to eat. Social time 5 til 6.30 free beer, wine, soft drinks, chip & dip, pop corn, again don't expect full bar service however a nice little touch. They are improving this hotel so some maintenance about but we was not effected and no noise. I have to mention all the staff as everyone we came across was polite, happy and helpful. Tim on the front desk was really helpful when we needed a late checkout. So thank you. If you need a couple of nights as a base in a clean hotel then I would recommend this hotel, don't expect 5* and your have a nice stay.

Room was comfortable, especially once we got more pillows and towels, and a good price for two of us. The employees were all friendly and helpful - easily the best thing about the place. I'm not saying the place was bad either. I'm saying the employees were great. The closet isn't deep enough - you can't close the door because the hangers they provide are too wide. The included breakfast isn't worth the trouble - egg beaters (or similar with that icky texture), juice from the dispenser tasted off. I didn't try a waffle because I didn't want to stand next to a hot appliance & wait for it.

The beds were very firm and caused some sleep difficulties. The room appeared clean at first glance but when I got down on the floor to look for a dropped item, I found that the carpet under the dust ruffle and around the nightstand was dirty. The shelf holding the refrigerator had so much dust on it that I could have written in it. Housekeeping did the minimum amount of work needed in our room. The breakfast had the same food choices each day: hash browns, biscuits and sausage gravy, sausages, pre-made scrabbled eggs and waffles you could make yourself. There were also 3 kinds of cold cereal, 2 kinds of bread, fruit and yogurt. Hot food was not available even in the first hour of service. All of the heated food was between warm and room temperature. The juice often was tepid.

Located in a nice area, the exterior looked very nice with ample parking, but when we checked in our first reaction was negative. Ten people trying to check in with one employee behind the desk. We were impressed how the desk clerk Tim handle each person in the crowd, reassuring them that he would find them a room. Tim tried to contact the housekeeping manager to find out if the rooms were ready without success. People applauded the way Tim handled this overwhelming task. Our room by request was on the second floor, it was large and including the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, very clean. Our king size bed was very comfortable. The under window air conditioner however was noisy but kept the room comfortable. The room had a nice safety feature, instead of the usual door viewer, it had a 2 way intercom. The social hour from 1700 - 1830 was very well done. Tim found us during the social hour to ask if our room was OK, and apologized for our inconvenience. This courtesy and professionalism is rarely found today. The full breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, good tasting coffee, etc. I notice some BW hotel managers read & respond to the Trip Advisor reviews, not seeing any from Calvin Quick the general manager, I was not surprised not to have received a reply to my email to him about the front desk problems & outstanding performance of Tim.

We went down to Phoenix for a quick getaway in the sunshine, and it turned out to be fantastic. The suite we were in was well suited to us, clean and quiet. The staff were all great - very friendly and helpful (we booked in at midnight). We had a noisy air vent, but it was fixed about an hour after we reported it. The pool itself does need a good clean, but that did not deter us from spending a lot of time in and around it. We will definitely visit the Best Western Innsuites again. Thanks for a great weekend.

I stayed here for one night for a wedding anniversary that was at a hall across the street. The rooms were very nice for the price. It was very clean and the front desk was very nice. Not much that close to it to walk to, at least the little I walked around. Definitely need a car, but I was there for just one night. Would recommend.

Overall the hotel was good. It included a morning breakfast and a social hour with beer/wine and snacks. The pool was average. During our stay there was too much ?chlorine in the water and bleached our swimsuits and irritated our skin. When we complained about the issue they came and checked the levels and said the pool was fine. (i would have to disagree as there had to be too much of something to bleach the swimsuits) Needless to say we did not go in after that! The hotel for the most part was clean but my husband found cigarettes under the bed and a pair of dirty socks behind the dresser. Also, the TV was out one day as they updates the cable and then fuzzy for the remainder of our stay. The location was central to everything but really lacked any restaurants in the area. The closest restaurant was 1 mile away and there were not really any good eating options in walking distance. They had a BBQ and patio tables for use. Overall, if it was not for the pool and the lack of deep cleaning I would have given it a higher review.

We normally stay at Best Western and were in town for the Nascar race so we were willing to pay a little more to stay at a chain we trusted. The tub spigot was loose; the ceiling was cracked above the tub; shower only put out half the water (the rest came out the tub spigot); the tub drain backed up; there was a dental floss pick under the bed and a hair ball in the corner of the bathroom. The fridge froze everything and the AC until was either too cold, or off.

I chose this hotel as a step up from a discount chain. Mistake, as the discount chain provided a better experience. The pros: buffet breakfast and an afternoon happy hour with complimentary beer and wine. However, there are not enough tables and chairs in the small room, which was monopolized by one large group. The A/C worked well. Cons: Bed very uncomfortable, mattress saggy on the edges, stains on the sheet, bed skirt ripped with broken safety pin sticking out. Sink has hot and cold faucets reversed. Was getting a glass of cold water and letting water run to get cold. Put my hand under the tap and almost burnt myself. Is it so difficult to have hot on the left and cold on the right? Apparently. No tv reception on second day here. Loud banging on my door at 6:45 pm by three technicians who were here to "switch out the box". They put their tools on my bed while they worked. When they finished, the picture was all staticky, which they said would be fixed the following day. When I first arrived there was a pungent perfumed chemical scent in the room from a cleaning product. I found it nauseating and it gave me a headache. I asked them not to clean for the duration of my 3 day stay and it took 2 days with the window open for the smell to dissipate. Also, nothing within walking distance of this location. All in all, I am very disappointed in Best Western.

The Best Western Inn and Suites was very clean and the workers there were very kind and patient. The location was very handy to get around the northwest side of Phoniex. The pool and the spa were in great shape.

Our room (suite) was okay, it could use so upgrading. The mattress was too soft and saggy. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.We only stayed overnight as we were in Phoenix for a family visit.

after a two week trip staying at time share units it was nice to be able to complete the last 3 days of our trip at a friendly and dependable hotel such as Best Western We always look forward to the breakfast and especially the ability to make a fresh waffle..

...but I just didn't like the location... The check-in was smooth and quick. The room was a little dated but very comfortable and spacious. The housekeeping was good (invisible, because I never saw them) the room eas always clean when I arrived. The social hour was nice with the complimentary snacks and soda/beer/wine. This was a great value. I did not have the opportunity to sample the breakfast. A busy intersection and did not feel safe with my vehicle being in the parking lot.
