The hotel is very clean and conveniently right off US 31. Good choices for breakfast, cooked fresh. Comfortable beds. The pool is lovely. Well worth the drive from events in Wabash vs the hotels there. The management are polite and responsive.
Staff was great. Breakfast is good. The pool was in great condition. My A/C wasn't 100 % the last night. The Stationary bike needs replacement. It's been like it is for several years. All in all good hotel and value. I will stay here in the future.
WOW What a GREAT staff. Especially Nichole the breakfast lady. She was/is a wow asset/representative for Best Western. Overall the entire staff we encountered was above and beyond We travel a lot and visit many motels this was super Thanks
Very nice hotel with the best hotel staff. They are very clean with everything you need from a hotel plus great breakfast. We want to express our thanks to a very honest staff. Thankyou for not only returning our newspaper but also for the expensive laptop I left under it. Thanks for your honesty and for going the extra mile of calling us to inform me and to put in a safe place. We will be back to your hotel. Thankyou
I stay here every August. It is always very clean and the staff is extremely accommodating. The food is always hot and tasty! Plenty of Parking! They love dogs too! They have a special area for the pets to potty and they provide bags for disposal of your dog's waste!
Having use of the barnum suite with the kitchen was the biggest lifesaver. To cook our entire dinner for 20. The ballroom was perfect for my gma celebration of life. We had the whirlpool suite 222 best jacuzzi ever. So much room in your suites. Breakfast was delicious. Staff is very friendly n extremely accommodating. They only con is the jacuzzi in 202 the jets had mildew coming out. It's very comma with jacuzzi. Just have to do occasional cleanse of jets. No biggie. And the barnum air was 68* the entire stay very cool. Overall it was a perfect stay. Thank u.
This little gem offers everything we want for a trip to visit family and take in the local sights and fun. It celebrates the local lore of circus city with its decorations. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and updated. It offers ample space in the lobby for visiting and the indoor pool area is warm and inviting. The staff is welcoming and friendly and provides a reliable, professional service at the desk, cleaning services, and breakfast.
Overall, this hotel is a decent property, and it is a safe bet for anyone in the greater Peru, IN area. The rooms were neat and tidy; the common areas were kept up well; the breakfast selection was totally fine having a decent amount of items with it being filled up; and the staff was generally attentive; the area around the hotel is safe. For a small town hotel this property fulfilled its function, and it is a good option for anyone going along US 31. While the prices were a bit on the higher side for the time I had stayed here my guess is that because the Circus was in town is why rates were higher than usual. For anyone going to the Peru, IN Amateur Circus during the Summer months, then this hotel is a great choice since it is not more than fifteen minutes away from the venue. Considering that the show generally ends around 10PM and some folks may choose to check out the carnival afterwards having this hotel nearby does ensure one is not driving late at night to Logansport or Kokomo. If anyone is going along US 31 and needs a good halfway point at which to stay between South Bend and Indianapolis, then this hotel fits the bill. It is right along US 31 nearby everything in the area making it a good option. The town of Peru, IN is right down Business US 31, and it only takes around six minutes maximum to get to the business district. For a small town the business district is pretty robust having a Kroger, various fast food outlets, car dealers (if anyone encounters mechanical issues with their vehicle), a large Post Office downtown, an Ace Hardware downtown, various nice restaurants downtown, and a decent riverwalk in the city center. If one is looking to check out the Grissom Air Museum (the former Grissom Air Force Base), then this hotel is not too far away. Kokomo and Logansport is really not too bad from this hotel. Also, Lafayette is not more than one hour from this hotel which is a plus. Overall, this is a good hotel that is well kept and is a safe location.
First off I would like to thank Justin at the front desk for his kindness and understanding during our visit. He made the stay much better and why we will return again. The location of the hotel is great. We did enjoy the pool and the outside area. They just put in new tvs's and recent updates. The breakfast was great.
This is my second time staying at a Best Western and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my stay. This last stay at Best Western was also excellent and I give it a 10 out of 10. Why do I say that,? Well, think of something to ask and I give it a rating of 10.
One of the Best Western's in our travel. Would highly recommend this one. Right off the highway and easy to get to.
It was a very good experience. Lots of outdoor activities, good restaurants. Interesting little towns to tour, Grissom AF museum. Lots of stuff to see & do. Fun trip.
The staff went above and beyond to make my experience at their hotel amazing. They take such pride in the hotel and service. Breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. The lady that was attending had a wonderful attitude and genuinely cared that they were meeting my needs. I appreciate everything and will come back again soon!
This was a very nice and clean hotel. All the staff was friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay!!! We will be using them again when we are back in the area to visit family!!!
Clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool and outside seating area. Rooms spacious. Breakfast was hot and had a variety of options. Housekeeping went above an beyond. Overall it's a nice place . We stay often when traveling for business working in Peru.
This is the cleanest and friendliest hotel we have stayed in. Breakfast was HOMEMADE! The eggs were scrambled in their kitchen, sausage links done in the frying pan, and potatoes were home fries with peppers and onion. All just like Mom made. We always check our room with a UV flashlight to check for cleanliness and bugs. Spotless!
The room was clean, quiet and pleasant to the eye. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. Shower gel would be a nice addition. The breakfast area was nice and clean with ample options. The lobby was nice and open and there was an area with a large screen TV and ample comfortable furniture to seat several people. Located at an easy access location. Friendly staff.
This is a very nice hotel. Quiet and clean. The rooms are large and the front desk was kind. I drive past other hotels just to stay at this one. I was only there for one night so I couldn't take advantage of all the amenities, but looking forward to them when I go back.
It is a very clean and comfortable hotel we stay here all the time. Staff are great. Jess, Cody and Justin are always very helpful they are really. Great people that work for the hotel we drive big truck and they have plenty of park8ng for us. It definitely one of my favorite hotel to stay at
We stayed here on our way back from up North. We were very impressed with the hotel. Mostly because the hotel is extremely clean and the staff was wonderful!! Quiet, a nice hot breakfast, and a beautiful pool. We were most impressed by the clean hotel! That was my favorite part! I have been in hotels and found bed begs and not clean, so this was a big deal. Definitely will stay here again!
A comfortable room, with a great hot breakfast at 6am! this has been the fifth year now for my hunting buddies up in Peru! Accommodating staff with affordable weekend rates for us senior citizens. Wish I had time to use the nice pool!
The staff was great. The circus theme comes from the circus that wintered over in years past. Plenty of parking. A couple semi's were in the parking lot. Breakfast was better than average. Hot scrambled eggs Pancakes Sausage Potatoes Bagels Muffins Cereal Oatmeal Yogurt Good coffee A keeper
You won't find many hotels along old US31 so when we saw this Best Western we pulled in. Good choice. Friendly and helpful desk clerk. Clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast and get this — they change up the menu during the week, breakfast burritos, omelets, etc. Not too far from several restaurants in town about four miles away. Definitely would stay here again.
Hotel was clean. Room was nice. The bed was so uncomfortable but the had a nice breakfast. We had stayed there overnight to going diving at France park. Front desk people were also nice. Didn't swim in the pool but it was clean.
Very friendly & efficient front desk, staff/housekeeping, & morning free breakfast server. Rooms were clean & fresh. Lobby seating area ample & comfortable with a Circus animal theme. A fresh, cool and refreshing water station is available in the lobby. Plenty of out front parking.
This hotel is located in there outskirts of a small Indiana town. I believe this hotel competes well against almost any hotel of used. It's a very nice set up. The room was nice, the staff even nicer. My family really enjoyed the open lobby to see comings and goings the weekend we were there for our family wedding,
This location was perfect! We were traveling from South Bend after a Notre Dame game to Cincinnati. We were leaving after the night game and needed a place to stay. This was right off 31 and about an hour out of South Bend. Friendly staff and clean room.
I stay at the Best Western Circus City every year during the K9 Olympics. The Service is outstanding. The staff is amazing. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast is fantastic! See ya next August! THANK YOU for making this past week almost like staying at home!
Very clean and nice breakfast bar. Went to see family and have stayed there a few times thur the yrs. Nice pool and exercise room as well. Best place to stay for a small town like peru IN. Seems to always stay booked.
Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond for us. From our experience booking the reservation through Cody at the front desk to the super attentive cleaning staff… we felt very welcomed. The room was clean and very comfortable… with super comfy beds. We'll be back again.
This Best Western has been our place to stay when visiting family and friends near Peru, Indiana. The manager, Soledad, is very caring and runs a clean hotel. We have seen her cleaning rooms when help was scarce! The hotel is getting up in years yet some upgrades have been made and it is clean with a good breakfast offered every morning.
I really enjoyed this hotel. The indoor pool was one of the best at this type of hotel. The water was warm and there was a little waterfall for ambience. The pool was a good length and the towels were plush. I also enjoyed my room. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C was efficient and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located to the bike trail. I would stay here again.
We had a excellent stay ! The staff is always working hard to keep us comfortable. The breakfast meals have a large selection of items, hot and cold. The rooms are nice and clean rooms and a very nice indoor pool .
Justin did it again I love that him and sol have all our check in stuff ready when I walk through the front door and they know us by name it is so welcoming I love staying here because of my favorite people sol and justin Re the one have most the contact with but the rest of the staff are so friendly and great
My mom and I stayed at this Best Western while in Peru overnight. It was absolutely spotless and every single person I met was sooo nice. We got to bring my moms little Shitzu too. I 100% would stay here again. This by far was the best Best Western I have ever stayed in. Not sure if it was this particular area (Peru) or what but every single person we encountered was so friendly and nice. I'm from the northern part of the state and don't see this all the time that's for sure.
After being on the road for five days, I stumbled upon this great motel. It was the cleanest, newest, and best motel I stayed at. The A/C was quiet and efficient. The bed was remarkably comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. The hostess who greeted me in the evening was very friendly and gave me directions into Peru. I would recommend this motel to anyone.
This was a very nice motel. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful and clean rooms and lobby/breakfast area as well! The bathrooms had great water pressure and the pillows were so soft that you could sink right into them after a long day. Clean towels and linens. Great room set up (spacious with all the amenities). Very quiet atmosphere. Parking was spacious and nice too and the motel itself was not hard to locate. Overall very good experience! If I had one "complaint" it would be that the beds are a bit harder. Now, I personally like that, but every one has their own preference. Thank you for a great experience.
A very nice place! Have driven past for years and last night was our night to stay for the first time, Well maintained. Nice employees. Well thought out procedures. Those three points describe this motel. Our room was in great shape. However, I found out last night that I was a light sleeper….trucks drive past this place all night long. They make a variety of noises that we were not used to at home but I should have asked for a room on the other side of the building. Keep that in mind, Breakfast room small but efficient in getting everyone fed. Good coffee. Decent choices. I would indeed go back.
Travel alot for work. Hands down, the best breakfast offered. Great people. The staff is always helpful from Nikki to Justin to anyone I ever Dealt with there. They answer questions about local food or tourist spots and seem genuine.
As a musician, I do a LOT of traveling. The last two Thursday nights I have stayed here, as I was too tired to make it all the way home after a show. The overnight staff at the front desk was fantastic in helping me get to my room quickly. The room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, it was quiet... Just what I needed after a long night. In the morning, the hot breakfast included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage link, and breakfast potatoes. Great way to wake up! I'll definitely be staying again!
room was clean and spacious with a good breakfast which was all we required staff friendly there are no restaurants within walking distance if that is important to you we had a one night stay during a cross country trip
The hotel is not the cleanest, only place to stay in Peru, Indiana. Serviceable for what it is. The room was covered in dust, and clearly had not been cleaned, or if it was, not a very good job. There was work going on, and the workers had no consideration for the guests, our door was completely blocked by construction garbage that I had to shove out of the way just to get out.
This stay was awesome all was clean room was awesome great stay will recommend to anyone the breakfast was perfect It was more than I had expected it was an awesome experience staff was great also and all was super clean
Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good ( and they never ran out of anything) and the price was exceptional. The folks that run this hotel obviously really care and their costumer service shows. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
We stayed at Peru Indiana BEST WESTERN and we very surprised at how well we were treated and rooms. Manager was great and our room had just up updated. One party traveling with us had a room not updated, really in need but over all , best we stayed at in traveling to French Lick.
Excellent stay.....friendly staff, clean, updated rooms. The wi-fi was speedy and easily accessed. There is a good restaurant just across the street. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel is very easy to find, right on Hwy 31. There is also a nice patio for sitting outside if that is something you are looking for.
Spent three nights while attending the "American Huey 369 Gathering". Room was clean and comfortable, shower water hot, plenty of towels and easy access to lobby area and parking. Easy access to HWY 31 and downtown Peru. Hot coffee available 24/7, decent breakfast with a snack and soda machine. You are not far from restaurants as well.
The hotel needs some work! The carpeting was very damp throughout the hotel, including my room. This also causes little fruit fly type bugs. There is something wrong either with the pool or the HVAC system. I won't stay here again unless it is fixed. It may be a time for a renovation as well.
We stayed at this hotel for over a month (so far) this summer, Beginning in early June, for a work project; and to attend two fairly famous events in Peru, Indiana - the Cole Porter Festival, and the Peru Circus Parade and Circus Performance. We could not be happier with staff, room, hotel, breakfast, location. As usual, Best Western bed and bedding is superior to most hotels in this price category and superior to many hotels charging higher prices. Our room was clean, staff was excellent at keeping it clean and well cared for. Breakfast offered some hot items (scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, etc) and a decent selection of cold cereals, juices, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. In addition, coffee and iced water are always available in the lobby for guests. Since we were working in our room Monday - Friday, having the coffee and water was a big convenience. Parking is free and just outside the front door of the hotel, with a protected spot for unloading and loading (convenient during frequent midwest cloudbursts). It was also very convenient that there is a pretty good restaurant right across the street. While this location is not too far from a 4-lane interstate state highway, the dual glazed windows and more-than-adequate soundproofing allowed us to sleep soundly; even during the busiest times when hotel was completely booked, we never heard a sound from our neighbors on the other side of two walls. And we were not bothered by any traffic noise (roads around here become pretty quiet after 10 pm anyway). I have to brag about the staff. Manager and ALL front desk staff are helpful, professional, friendly, and ultra competent. They seem to know the area well and can offer suggestions for dining and entertainment. The indoor pool area is kept ultra clean, with many, many clean towels ready for guests. And just outside the pool is an outdoor patio for relaxing in the sun or reading a book. Since this was our home away from home for over a month, we often sat in the lobby reading or meeting with our visitors. Housekeeping staff was attentive and professional. I always dislike the way some hotels allow their housekeeping staff to bang loudly on guest doors quite early, yelling HOUSEKEEPING! This does not happen here. So we were actually able to catch some extra shut-eye after late-night events. Nice. Our room was a Mini-Suite, with two chairs, table, reading light (light bulb was too dim for reading however) and a footstool. TV rotates to be seen from chairs, bed, or both. Individual room A/C units are efficient, newer and pretty quiet. We return often to this area, and will always stay at this Best Western -- I do believe it is the best in Peru, and the best of all hotels in surrounding / nearby areas.
We stay here as we are going south from mid-Michigan, each time. We find the staff friendly, our room clean and good breakfast. We sometimes have our 5th wheel and it's winter. They let us park in the lot and stay in the hotel.
This is by far the worst hotel on the planet! For starters they gave our room away even though we had an email confirmation. (Apparently that means nothing) We were given a sub par room from the suite we reserved and once inside the room we discovered everything was damp! This included the bed, carpet, pillows, you name it! First time to use the toilet was a real charm as it immediately overflowed all over the floor! I called the front desk and was told they had no maintenance and to plunge the toilet ourselves...Really? How is this acceptable? We had brought our dog with for a hiking trip and our dogs paws were wet from the carpet! WTF?! The room had no air on when we first arrived and with it being 92* outside was like a sauna, a wet sauna at that... The real icing on the cake was the MOLDY lid to the ice bucket....GROSS!!! I tried to talk to the manager several times, but was put on hold and then hung up on. We have yet to get resolution to our problematic stay, as they charged us twice for a one night stay. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had and will never stay at this hotel ever again.
This hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a good breakfast. The room was large, not the Ritz, but with a comfortable desk chair, sitting chairs, and everything you could need (even a lapboard for the computer). T.v. worked well, as did wifi. Bathroom was large and clean, and had the most amazing showerhead I've ever seen! Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The hotel itself was quiet - in the room we could hear noise from the halls, but there was not much. The lobby was large, and nicely set up with ice water, coffee, ice machine, etc. We did not use the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was like the old pre-pandemic days, with a pancake machine, vanilla yoghurt dispenser, decent scrambled eggs, sausage, egg/sausage muffins, toast, bagels, english muffins, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate, etc. etc. Easy to carry it back to the room to eat. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.
Very clean and quiet hotel. The breakfast bar was the best in the BW system. Peru was a nice area as we were able to enjoy the Cole Porter festivities. Price per night very reasonable and value was excellent.
Clean, quiet, well maintained. Oh, well it looks like the f*ing computer won't let me put in a nice concise review, it needs to be at least 200 rambling characters that I don't want to write, and YOU don't want to read because it is meaningless tripe just to make the computer happy. Well, are you happy now? Is my review long enough for my digital masters? Gee, I sure hope so, I wouldn't want to make the computer sad, now, would I ? Pointless pile of steaming data.
Great location, rooms clean and well kept, hot breakfast very good, staff routinely helpful and cheerful. Right off Highway 31, self serve breakfast is hot and as good as before Covid. Justin at front desk always helpful if you need anything. We stay here several times a year visiting family and each stay is always great. Value is really good; this is our favorite hotel in the area.
We stayed two nights here. Nice location, well-kept property, and friendly staff. We enjoyed our spacious room which had a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. There were stains on the carpet that need to be cleaned. The shower had good water pressure. The bathroom had fluourescent lights but they were okay. One negative was that the clock was not even plugged in. Housekeeping should always be sure the clock is plugged in, correctly set, with no alarm activated for the next guest. Overall the hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and we would definitely stay again.
I choose BW because of location and value. This was my second stay in 5 months. Staff courteous and attentive. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. I did not use the pool but it looked inviting.
Nikki was fantastic in getting us setup and settled in quickly after a long day of driving. Room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast in the am was Excellent!!! Overall a quick but enjoyable experience..TY to Best Western in Peru Indiana!!
The hotel is one of few in the area, so if you are staying in the area, you don't have many options. The hotel is listed as pet friendly. Our room smelled like a dog. I purchased Lysol spray to spray around the room. We also heard a dog barking late at night. I have suggested that the hotel have rooms that are pet-free. The bath tub looked old and not very clean. I have stayed at much nicer hotels in bigger cities for not much more money.
The room was nice and very clean. The breakfast was amazing. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage and the list goes on. The staff was friendly and helpful. If traveling back, i would choose this hotel to stay at everytime.
My family and I travel a lot so we have had a great deal of experience with hotel stays. This Best western was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. If I could give it more stars I would. The cleanliness, friendly staff , amazing breakfast I really can't say enough. We will definitely recommend this to our family and friends.
Check in was quick. Breakfast had great options. There is wifi, a small fitness center, and an indoor pool. Room was clean and it was quiet enough to get peaceful sleep. Will be back again! Highly recommend.
First floor made it easy to access with all of our luggage, very convenient motorcycle parking out front of main entrance for high visibility and they featured an excellent breakfast. There was also ice water available in the lobby after a long, hot ride.
Nice hotel. We were a bit disappointed in breakfast as the pasty selection was limited and not very appealing on our first morning. The second morning had a bit more. Staff and accommodations were great.
I have stayed at the Circus City hotel in Peru several times now. Each time I have been there the rooms have been clean, and in good working order. The staff has always been considerate, and helpful with any issues I have had. I will be staying at this hotel again in the future.
This is one of the best hotels! The people are always friendly and professional. The rooms are super clean, and the beds are so comfortable. I love the circus theme, and I stay here any time I am passing this way . . . even if I have to reroute my trip.
The room smelled horrible - to the point where I felt congested and had a sore throat the next morning. There were gnats too - seems like it could be a mold issue. The night staff was not helpful. Didn't answer the phone when I called and no one staffed the desk when I arrived. BUT - the sheets and bathrooms seemed clean.
We came to town to visit our daughter and her family and to attend the Circus on opening day. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. We've used this hotel in the past for guests to our daughter's wedding and it still doesn't disappoint. Will definitely stay here again.
Staff was fantastic... very helpful and courteous; however, the room smells like month old smoke and the bed blanket needs washed in a major way. The BO smell from blanket was pretty bad. The big sign that says they don't do any housekeeping for stay overs is ill informed.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Very helpful. I needed a ground floor room. We were closed to both the Hotel entry, pool entry and breakfast area. Made my walking so much easier. Room was clean. We will be back
On a 1 to 10 scale the staff at this location was a 12. Super customer service. Thanks to all. This includes the breakfast ladies and the front desk staff. Really great service. Also the breakfast itself was very well thought out and yummy
Check in was quick and easy. Nicole was fabulous. Very friendly and great personality!!!!! The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. Hotel is very close to restaurants and the downtown area.
The staff are amazing and friendly. The rooms are very neat and clean. If you have any issues staff are very accommodating. We definitely recommend if your in the Peru area to stay here!!! Breakfast is very well prepared for safety and is delicious.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was more than expected as well. Staff was wearing their masks and making every effort to help anyone with what they needed. The main attendant even found my daughters iPad and kept it safe until we requested to have it back.
@time of check in asked if I needed to extend my stay what is the policy was told because I made my reservation through a third party when I check out all I had to do was check back in and pay that days rate. @check out followed instructions I was given and was told that wasn't correct the hotel was sold out and we had to leave. There was no solution offered not even offered to help find if there was another hotel given we where In the middle of nowhere. When I asked could I speak to a manager or some one that could help me get to a resolve I was told “there's nothing that can be done and the likes of your kind can go across the street”. I was very disgusted and appalled at was said to me as I am an African American female. I explained to her i wasn't from this area I was misled and I shouldn't be getting put out of room I paid for and already because I was told something that was true. I wasn't loud rude didn't use any foul language, even after I was discriminated againist I was told to calm down , I responded Im not being rude loud or belligerent toward you for you to tell me calm down. I asked for a customer relations number I was given reservation number. I had to have my partner as the person we got breakfast from who manager was and I was point to the person at the desk Soledad known as Sole so to know I treated unfairly by the manager of this establishment was and is very disturbing and sickening to me.!
This is the “best” hotel in Peru, IN; so not that many choices to stay. The hotel was clean and spacious. The hair dryer was broken, so when the rooms are Service, it is a good idea to ensure everything works. But upon informing the front desk, a new hair dryer was promptly provided. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I stay here frequently and always have a great stay. Clean rooms, great staff and nice pool! I Would highly recommend starting here. The parking was good and they have always treated us with respect. .
We attended the motorcycle safety course at Grissom and the hotel was very close to Grissom and close to restaurants. Upon arrival we were greeted and told we could park our motorcycles in front of the lobby. Our room was clean and very roomy. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay for the wknd. If we are ever in the area again, we would choose Best Western again.
Needed a place to stay because of the snow storm. I was treated with respect and given a wonderful, quiet place to sleep since I had worked the past 15 hours on night shift. It was a last minute choice to stay in town.
I have been staying at this hotel quite a while. The entire time staff, led by Sole, is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice sized and comfortable. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Would defiantly recommend this hotel.
Very responsive staff. We checked in while wrangling kids, forgot to ask for a military discount, and they applied it after check in when I showed ID. Pool is warm, clean, and has a nice water curtain feature for filling it. hotel is very clean and sanitary without giving in to the paranoid demands of Branch Covidian cultists.
Very nice hotel, staff were amazing, always asking if there was any they could do, hotel was very clean and quiet, I enjoyed my upgraded room and had a pleasant stay! Pool, laundry and workout room!!!
It's rare to walk into a hotel and actually be greeted by the front desk, as if they actually want you there! I appreciated the warm greeting from all front desk and other staff members here. The room and general place were clean and accommodated my family quite well. I will be back.
The Hotel was nice. The room was clean and quiet. I was worried because my window faced the highway, never heard a thing all night. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice, a lot of water pressure. Great location. Staff at desk were not the friendliest. They were not rude, but were not welcoming. Was not offered the snack for the elite member and had to ask for it. Was not recognized as an elite member.
I knew this place was older before even getting here, but the reviews made it seem like it was decent. At first glance, it looks like it is. Once you start looking though, you start to notice things. We got the jacuzzi room, which is righ next to the laundry room which was perfect for us as we needed to do laundry. The jacuzzi tub seemed clean at first glance but the little spout parts for the jacuzzi itself were not. The handles and faucet are old, and not as secure as they probably should be. I was afraid of breaking them. Getting in and out is also a chore. Behind one set of curtains is peeling wallpaper. You can see the carpet is old and stained. The drawers in the nightstands and dresser don't stay closed either. You close them, but they creep back open which I feel could be dangerous in the dark. The fridge doesn't really stay cold, either. The bed is okay but not super comfortable. For a one night stay though the bed wasn't to bad. Now, the main issue. The laundry. We are in a semi, so when we stay at a hotel we make sure they have laundry so that we can get our clothes done. I called and asked if they had. She said they did. You know what she didn't say? That the dryer doesn't actually dry your clothes. We went thru three, $2 cycles trying to at least get them somewhat dry. They were still soaked at the end. Apparently, the owner of this place can't care or be bothered to fix the damn thing. This is what the lady at the front desk says at least, after trying to make us believe that the issue was us. She also said that we were not the first to mention this issue. She did give us $2 back in quarters, but we still have to go to a truck stop to redo our clothes. Overall, this place needs help and care. The front desk ladies were nice, but that's not enough. It feels like we wasted one of our rare hotel nights here. I don't think we'll be back. And I suggest, if you need to do clothes while you stay, that you go elsewhere.
We found this Best Western to be one of the best around. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room comfy and clean. The hotel did a great job dealing with Covid-19 restrictions including the breakfast.
The rooms are good sized, nice and clean. Check in staff as well as cleaning staff are very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location to Grissom Air Force Base. I would definitely recommend staying at this location.
Check in was smooth room was clean Wake up call came on time. Coffee was ready. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the back part of the parking lot had a bad smell That may have come from some garbage truck in the next lot. I enjoyed my stay here
We've been here several times before Covid visiting family and always been pleased. Not much has changed. Yes, wear a mask inside like everyone else. The staff is doing their best to keep your stay like it always was. The breakfast buffet is a bit modified as is in many places, but here, your choices are HOT instead of something cold and pre-packaged. The whole staff tries hard to keep your stay much like it was "before Covid." We will be back.
From the front desk room attendants maintenance worker to the breakfast bar to the owner everyone was very attentaive kind and enjoyable to be around. Now thta the pool is back on line time for a swim. I wish there were more exersize options....but that just me.
Was traveling through. Very nice hotel. Took covid precautions seriously. Clever idea with 2 separate containers even for the pens. Rooms and public areas clean and nice. Staff very friendly. Great effort on breakfast for the times, egg sandwiches, pastry, bread all wrapped in plastic. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
The room was not ready. We tried to check in at 4pm. The normal check in is at 3pm. Front desk asked us to sit in the lobby and wait. We asked for another room and she again asked us to wait. After the room was available, the key we were provided, did not work. Normally not a big deal, but after the wait, it was just another issue. The room was cleaned decently when we did get in the room. The room had a wet odor to it(wet a/c smell). The breakfast was available which was nice.
i am working at a location only a few miles from this Best Western location, and it is the closest hotel, and the best hotel for my needs. It's clean, and fits my needs perfectly. I have stayed multiple times, and will continue to stay here as long as there is availability.
April was very pleasant and has great customer service skills we had reserved and prepaid for a suite to stay in for a week for me my spouse and our 11 year old daughter the suite we originally was put in had one king size bed which we knew about an advance and two chairs and the living quarters so that put all three of us sleeping in the one king size bed. After a couple of days are air conditioner stopped working in our room when we informed the night employee April she went above and beyond to not just move us to another Suite but you move us to one that had a pull out couch in the living quarters so are 11 year old daughter was able to have her own bed and made all of us more comfortable for the remaining time of our stay because we had more privacy. She also signed us up for the rewards program that we were never informed about until we spoke with her so that way we were able to start earning Rewards she made sure that we were going to be able to stay in the same sweet we are already in when we informed her we were most likely going to be staying an extra week. He is an excellent employee and perfect for front desk she has great people skills and just very pleasant to speak to.
Me my wife my daughter and my youngest son a close friend and my cousin and his wife made a trip to Peru from northern Indiana to take motorcycle training classes we had the cleaning lady get extremely rude with my wife and daughter because they had politely asked her not to clean our friends room next to us while we were gone at our classes she got rude with them said I got to do my job because he forgot the privacy card on the door being they had people right there asking them not to they should have left it alone on top of he noticed some of his personal items had been rummaged through the rooms themselves were not too bad could have been a little better the thing that makes me the maddest is I had somehow forgot my pay check on the desk but nobody called me to say anything about finding it when it was left in the open but they had the audacity to call and accuse me and my family of stealing blankets off their bed before ever asking the cleaning staff about it .being only half the blankets was taken I feel maybe the cleaning lady tried setting us up cuz the cleaning staff would have took all the blankets besides my car was loaded before I went to my class if they tried stealing blankets they would have seen it when they went past the main desk after I mentioned getting a lawyer if they charge my card I was called back and informed that the blankets were found in the laundry I am 100% against thieves and absolutely heated to be accused of stealing it was extremely rude and uncalled for very unprofessional I will never go back nor will I ever recommend this location to anyone on top of the pool was ice cold like water out of the hose where my kids could not even enjoy it the breakfast was absolutely terrible they gave a brown paper bag with a dry nasty muffin a chewy nutrition bar and a bottle of water definitely the worst breakfast I have ever been offered at any location by any hotel this is extremely sad and I hope by filling out the survey they cannot only do something to make us feel better about our stay and the way we were treated do better about the way they handle things in the future thank you for reading
My family had to travel for a business trip When the coronavirus was beginning to shut down work. The staff was wonderful. They helped us find somewhere to get take out to eat since all the restaurants were closed to sit down meals. The staff was constantly disinfecting the lobby area. They were friendly during this trying time for all of us.
Experience, rooms and breakfast always top notch. Sol and her staff always go the extra mile to elevate the guest experience. Indoor pool is being remodeled and will be open soon. I'll bring my suit on the next visit!
Extremely well maintained and a very nice breakfast with helpful and nice staff. This is one of the cleanest hotels with the nicest staff we have ever visited. A must and its in a small town. We stayed on Christmas eve several years in a row for family visst, and we have always been very impressed with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff that are working on the holiday.
They are pet friendly and as I am handicapped that is very important. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. My wheelchair fit great in the room and the bath area was great. While there are other hotels in the area this is the only one that we will stay at when in town
I have stayed at this motel many times over the past couple of months on business. The rooms have always been clean and well maintained. This motel is easy to access and despite the fact it is close to the highway, it is very quiet inside the rooms. The breakfast has hot food that is basic but very good. The main reason I would give this motel an excellent rating is their staff. They recently accommodated a large group of K-9 police officers for a nearby event the same week I stayed there. I thought their staff handled this situation very well. The people at the front desk and breakfast room have always been friendly and attentive.
As usual our hotel stay was wonderful. From check in to breakfast all was great. The servers at breakfast went out of their way to heat up my milk for the powdered hot cocoa and made my breakfast like home
Clean, pleasant decor, good breakfast, helpful staff at the desk. Price was high due to a canine event in the area. Had trouble with my room key, front desk person had someone bring a key up after making sure I was satisfied and secure.
Was in the area to visit family. The room was very nice, clean and quiet but had a slight odor, but not worth complaining about. Was upset about not having the pool available, they are fixing the ceiling, no estimate when it will be fixed per the front desk. Breakfast was good, had a variety of foods, bacon a little bit to crisp for my liking but all you can eat. Breakfast staff very helpful with keeping food full and warm. Overall very nice but the pool not being open was upsetting to me. I won't of pick it if I knew prior.
Over all was a nice hotel. Pool was out of commission that was disappointing. breakfast was ok needs improving on staying stocked the lady keeping breakfast stocked was quite stingy with how much she put out at any one time . Had a JR suite with jetted tub but didnt use as the jets were full of mold and dirt. beds were clean and comfy room was clean. Staff was nice
The hotel is too close to the highway for those in rooms on the highway side. Heavy trucks used the highway all night. Both of us were kept awake much of the night by the traffic. People, especially long-time members who make reservations 2 or 3 months in advance, automatically should have the more quiet room(s) reserved for them. As usual, for us, there was too much light that got into the room. And why do companies insist on manufacturing detection systems with bright flashing lights on them? Staff was friendly, but the lady keeping breakfast stocked was quite stingy with how much she put out at any one time. There were some nice donuts, though. Coffee was weak and, for even my wife, too hot.
I have stayed at this hotel several times over past two years and have sadly witnessed the steady decline of both personnel and property management. The manager and her daughter have always seemed pleasant but they did nothing to resolve the numerous issues I had including a non-working telephone and tv. No communication is made between employees apparently as I had to reiterate my complaints to the night manager/clerk who also “didn't know how to help.”
Clean rooms, great location, fridge, microwave in rooms, clean pool, great breakfast choices, check in and check out was very easy, vending machines, ice machines avail able, free coffee, water, hairdryer in the room
The room was very clean, and nice. Breakfast- needs improved. Prices, unfair to Military. Outrageous Pricing . Staff was very nice. There are few hotels, so they can charge, anything.Looks as if recently remodeled.
I have stayed at this hotel several times for business. The staff has always been friendly, the hotel clean outside and rooms have always been clean and nicely decorated. It is in a convenient location with restaurants minutes away.
I thought this was one of the nicer Best Western I stayed in. I travel for work, so I am allot of these in the USA. What concerned me the most was I noticed two day in, that looking at the door and from inside my room, and on the door latch side you can see a clear gab in the door frame to the door!! It was a huge gap half way up the side and you can easily see in the room!!! I am a guy, and for the most part we don't care. But women this would be a huge concern, and I don't blame them. I notice this the morning of my departure are was shocked.
love this BW. super clean and very nice staff I love how clean and comfortable this hotel is kept. They are replacing heat/air to stay very up to date. The staff is wonderful n there helpfulness and they have a very lean and well staffed and furnished breakfast. Our go to place when visiting family.
My wife and I stayed here in November while visiting family in the area. Let's jump in to the basics. This is a two story very well maintained building. The parking lot is clean, well lit, and cared for. The large lobby is welcoming, has plenty of space to sit, watch TV and relax. Off of the lobby is. Kitchen and breakfast area. Down another hall is the door to the very nice indoor pool. We stayed in a king bed room. It is very spacious and has a desk, chair and end table, night stands and lamps on each side of the bed, and chest of drawers which also housed a small microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom has plenty of counter space, a hair dryer, and small coffee maker. The shower/bath combo has one of the largest shower heads I've seen . There is also a small open closet with an iron and ironing board. The only thing missing is a room safe. As with all hotels with interior hallways, there is a gap under the door to allow circulation. This also allows in some light and noise. I'm a heavy sleeper and am not bothered by this, but those who are will notice some hallway noise. We had the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed it. It had a very large offering from pastries, bagels, cereal, bacon, omelets, biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, oatmeal, fruit, juices and coffee. This was one of the nicest hotel breakfast services I've experienced. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable. What more could I want? Nothing. This hotel is very nice and I recommend it.
Everything in the room was Very clean. They have a good size breakfast and everything was fresh and hot. I would highly recommend best Western circus city to anyone traveling in this area. We will be staying here again.
We needed a pet friendly hotel on our way back from a long trip. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It was clean, welcoming and up-to-date. Everything in the room was in great condition and worked. The bathroom was spotless and of ample size. The breakfast offerings were a class above the typical "stay here, eat here" accommodation. Even the dog walk area was clean and provided with clean up sacks and depository. Excellent in every way! Will plan another stay in the future.
Just because Peru, IN is a small town do not think this hotel will also be small town!!!! It is just the opposite, the "big city" experience at the Best Western Circus City Inn, is unbelievable. Trust me, you won't be sorry you stayed here
We stay at this hotel 1-2 times a month and have never been dissatisfied. Even when the hotel is at capacity and very busy we've never had a bad experience. Rooms are clean, quiet, and recently have nice updates throughout. The desk staff is always courteous and accommodating. Nice basic breakfast buffet. Love the complimentary coffee and water all day. Would not hesitate to stay again and again.
Stayed here for a little getaway. Didn't expect much but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean. The hotel seemed clean. The pool was heated and I had a nice warm breakfast of biscuits and gravy with some scrambled eggs and sausage.
We have no complaints on our visit. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast was hot with a good variety of items. We would stay again if we are ever in the area again.
Myself and 3 co-workers stayed for business and had no complaints. Check in was easy and the recommendation for food was spot on. Would stay again if in area. Rooms were clean, wifi was not password protected is my only complaint.
All that anyone traveling could expect or need. Friendly efficient staff, breakfast, complimentary coffee, water and flavored water 24/7, clean rooms, pool. Not a resort but as good for a traveler as any other and better than a lot I've stayed in.
This hotel is top of the line.....I've stayed here numerous times and I am never disappointed.. Soledad Macias is a super manager, and she has the best staff... desk clerks (Amber and Daniela) breakfast room attendant (Beatriz), and housekeeping staff. The hotel is clean, lots of complimentary items (water, coffee, papers), and a wonderful morning breakfast! Everyone provides great service with a polite, friendly attitude! I would rank Circus City Inn #1 of all the hotels where I have stayed. This staff not only gives great service, but they treat guests as family. For instance, I had a call while I was there and Amber was able to tell my husband that I had left the hotel with my cousins; I had not told her, but she saw me leave. Circus City employees know their guests and care about them. Every traveler should experience a hotel of this quality.
This is a nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean, newer hotel. It has lemon water, coffee, and bottled water in the lobby all complimentary. Pool and complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
One of the prettiest theme BW we've stayed in. Reception/Desk Staff, Breakfast Attendants, Housekeeping Staff were all very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool. Enjoyable stay!
I can say nothing bad about this hotel and my stay. Everything was perfect. The room was nice, the breakfast was a real and complete breakfast with several hot and protein items in addition to the standard continental one offered by some hotels. They even have a refrigerator in the main hallway with chilled bottled water. There is also 24/7 coffee. I will be sure to consider other Best Westerns in the future.
We enjoyed our visit at this hotel. The fresh lemon water in the lobby and the coffee with flavored creamer that was offered at all times was an extremely nice touch. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel on our next visit.
Best property in the area. Clean, friendly & helpful staff.. Convenient location.. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Bed was great. Bathroom was efficient, however shower/bath could use safety handles for entering and exiting. Good selection for breakfast, area was often too small to handle guests. Will certainly be first choice in the future.
Silly me! Traveling from Southwestern IL to Shipshewana Indiana, the newly revised 465 around Indianapolis that would have connected me to I69 North had a new surprise up its smoothly paved sleeve. So I accidentally took a right turn onto 74 Westbound. My GPS then directed me to forget about I69 and go up Hwy. 31 North. Night so dark- getting tired, I attempted to get hotel room in Kokomo IN. No rooms for me, so I pushed onward not seeing any hotels for a long distance and thinking I might have to bed down in a 24hour Big Box store parking lot! And then like an answer to a prayer, an exit with a Hotel. The Best Western Circus City Inn in Peru Indiana is clean, professionally managed and very accommodating. The night Manager ended up giving me the ‘Circus Suite'. You see Peru Indiana has the oldest continually operating Amateur Circus in the Country. The hotel lobby boasts a circus wagon with large stuffed animals popping out of the top. The three room Circus Suite has all the pleasures of a large jetted tub, views from the living room window (includes balcony) overlooking the large pool. Same large windows in the King bedroom, granite bar, kitchen and great closet space. Sad I could only stay one night. Cannot say enough about the Management. GM Soledad Macias runs a tight ship, and I was grateful and happy to stay at this property. Maybe next time I'll catch the Circus. Sometimes wrong turns are the best.
The staff was friendly so there was no problem there. The continental breakfast had powdered eggs which was surprisingly disappointing for a Best Western. The typical packaged danish, nothing fresh from a bakery which is not uncommon at other Best Westerns I have stayed at. Not at all, but some. Generally in more metro areas so no big deal. The room key rarely worked and had to go back to the front to have it redone several times. I know to keep it away from phones or anything electronic so I couldn't understand and the fact that I am partially disabled and walk with canes it was difficult. Cleanliness was another story. In general good. However I found a disposable rasor laying in my towels, so what's up with the staff??? The manager gave me one of my two day stay free to make up for the possible danger. I just hope they contacted the authorities to have it checked for contagious diseases.
I took my 4 young nieces and nephews who were visiting from Texas for a stay there. The pool was perfect! The rooms were very clean and great size. The breakfast had something for everyone. The customer service was above and beyond. We had pizza brought in and they opened the banquet room for us. I was very pleased and would definitely visit again!!
Walking into the lobby my whole body said, "Ah, yes!" and I felt myself instantly begin to relax after a long & rather stressful day on the road. Automatic front doors made loading & unloading so much easier, and with the overhead canopy I didn't have to worry about getting drenched should the weather turn wet. Room was already nicely cooled off, lovely, spacious & spotless. Fridge/micro & flat screen TV. Bed was super comfortable, with nice linens, triple sheeting and lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Generous supply of bright white towels. Ample granite counter space in bathroom. Huge shower head with several settings and plenty of hot water with great pressure. Free wifi with plenty of signal strength enabled me to quickly get some work done online. Continental was well tended including fresh Folgers coffee vs large carafe. Special kudos to Sarah at the front desk, who went above & beyond when my reservation, made through the BW app complete with confirmation number, did not appear in the system at the hotel. All the while the phone was ringing off the hook, but she politely & professionally handled every call by offering to either put them on hold or take their number to call back ASAP as she was welcoming a guest at the front desk (me!) Prepaid reservation STILL had not appeared by the time I checked out but Mgr Soledad was on top of the situation and I was made to feel as though my business was valued. I would DEFINITELY stay here again :-)
They might carry the name of a national chain, but they don't carry the quality. It may have been something in its day, but now its just run down and in need of a major renovation. AC would only work sporadically, shower moaned like a banshee, sink was clogged,
We were more than just pleased with our stay. The mini suite was the best room we have encountered at Best Westerns all across the country. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our stay could not have been better.
People at the front desk were very nice, the hotel is very clean, and the continental breakfast had great selections and the food tasted excellent. The breakfast attendant gave great service during the continental breakfast. The internet was fast, reliable, and my devices connected throughout the whole hotel. The hotel also had a nice indoor pool. The hotel manager Soledad, and her staff did an excellent job accommodating my needs. I do recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in this area.
Easy check-in great rooms the price was reasonable . Great access to highways. Very clean and very attentive staff. Will definitely stay there again. The remodel is great and the pool area is great!!!
The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly. They are currently undergoing remodel of the breakfast room with no huge mess! The location is great and close to restaurants and shopping area. Would stay here again.
I stayed here for 4 nights/5 days. While check in and check out were fairly quick, as other reviews have stated, customer service is severely lacking. I walked up to the counter for check in and she said "how may I help you?" When I said I'm checking in she looked at me and with a sarcastic and rude tone said "Ok, what's your name?" I travel all over the country. What I said is how people answer that question. It's common place. I answered your question and now you ask for the information you need to check me in. That's how this works. Whether you agree with that fact or don't enjoy your job is none of my concern, don't put your crappy attitude on display. For the remainder of my visit not a single employee greeted me when I walked in or out of the hotel and there were very few smiles from anyone. The room appeared clean albeit somewhat dated. The pillows are some weird extra small squares you get to sleep on. These are common at Best Western which is one of many reasons why I avoid Best Westerns, but it's Peru Illinois and there are not many other options. I doubt I'll be in Peru, IL again but if so I will choose another place to stay even if it's farther away.
I was placed into separate rooms over my stay. Those rooms were dirty. Housekeeping never did remove the dead bug on the wall over the heating unit. Parking was adequate. Laundry room facilities out of order. Breakfast items were large in quantity but short on quality.
For anyone who has done the pool birthday/sleep over party at the local Best Western in the past, forewarning, they are incredibly rude now, and refuse to work with you, or allow it without pushing their meeting room at another $100 on top of your room reservation, and only allowing the kids spending the night to swim. They also claim 10-15 people is just “too much” for them to handle. (If so, how does their hotel handle all of the guests, if all 62 of their rooms would get booked?) They claim this policy has been in effect for “years” when we did this just last January of 2017 with no issues whatsoever.
This is the only chain motel in town and you can tell. I was not given my room upgrade I should have been or even the type room requested on arrivail but was upgraded the next day, The TV remote in the new room didn't work and they got it to parcailly work and I had to remind them the next day that it still didn't work and they got us one that worked. We went to the pool and the desk clerk said there is no food or drink allowed. I pointed out that the sign only says no glass containers and she said with an attitude "Well that's our policy". They have made some upgrades to this place in the last year but I think from now own I'll drive on into Kokomo.
I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. It's conveniently located to the highway and is pretty reasonably priced. The breakfast isn't anything to write home about, although they do a fairly decent, no-frills job. The one thing I really appreciate about the hotel is the friendly staff. Everyone is always so kind and quick to help out.
Good place to stay for the dollar. Close location to town. Clean rooms, nice for the price and better than decent breakfast for no additional cost. Friendly staff. Very good for a short stay. Would recommend.
Hotel was easy to find, right on the highway, they had good parking, and a great staff. We felt welcome from the moment we entered. The rooms were clean, quiet and well stocked. An ice machine on the second floor would be nice, but that is only a minor inconvenience.
Reasonable pet policy, better than expected for the price touches throughout the hotel (upgraded shower head, modern furnishings, modern décor throughout building, plenty of exercise equipment, etc.). Easy parking even for motorhomes. Literally on the side of Rte. 31. Only two things -the room was a bit cold, although in fairness I didn't spend much time trying to adjust the temperature because I was really tired. Also, breakfast was average compared to other BW's, albeit in a large, nice room. Would definitely stay here again.
Delighted to find such a nice hotel in small town. PROS: Room was very nice. Requested handicap which it was - even included a walk in shower which is hard to find. Breakfast was amazing with a full array of choices. Breakfast staff was especially courteous and helpful. CONS: Internet was spotty and slow.
This hotel is very quiet and clean. The hotel staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is always fresh, tasty and they serve until 10 a.m. A great hotel for families or those just traveling through the area! It is very convenient access from Hwy 31 at Peru, IN.
Trip was enjoyable. First time of staying in a hotel as we usually travel by RV. This trip was too far for RV. Family members in the area did not have room for me, so chose this one based on indoor swimming pool......hoping grandchildren would be able to enjoy. They were sick at time of visit, so did not get to swim.
I like Best Western because I can trust that our room will be clean and comfortable. I have had problems, but few...and they were handled with great care. We are reward members, and we have benefitted greatly by being in the program. I generally feel appreciated and treated with great care as a member. Our stay at the Circus City Inn was very pleasant. Our room was excellent, the interior and exterior of the hotel looked very appealing. We were there for a 50th year class reunion. Hopefully we will be back.
Excellent motel with everything we need to have a pleasant stay. The staff was helpful and cordial. The location is perfect and Peru has some good restaurants. We visit family while we are there. Very comfortable.
Visiting family and this hotel made this trip feel like a true vacation. Very clean, well-appointed and excellent and friendly staff really made our stay! Very nice breakfast in the morning! The front desk and the breakfast staff were terrific! Really enjoyed our stay--this was our 2nd time and we will definitely be back!
Only a few options in Peru, but still very clean, comfortable and acceptable breakfast. Did not try the fitness room or pool. The staff is very accommodating and goes out of their way to assure a comfortable stay.
This is a great place to stay! The staff, including the front desk clerks, cleaning personnel, and breakfast staff, were all very friendly and top notch employees! The hotel is very well maintained and our room was very comfortable! We were very pleased that we chose to stay here.
If you are going to stay overnight in Peru, Indiana, this is where you want to stay. The rooms are well apportioned with a fridge and microwave and free WiFi that is easy to access (not always the case in other hotels). Morning breakfast offers a nice selection and front desk staff friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past few years and it is the best hotel in the area! Quiet, accepts small pets, has great free breakfast, and very friendly helpful management and personnel.
when you are driving down the road and need a place to relax this place is one surprise after another. Very special gem in it's own right and no one knows it even here. Take time to visit the pool area it will surprise you again and bring the kids too :)
Great hotel for the area. The rooms were very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was filling. They did run out of regular coffee one morning but there is a McDonalds within a couple miles.
Great place to stay in near the Peru, IN area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered in the morning was above what I was expecting and went for longer than i was expecting also. Definitely a great choice in the area.
My kids and I were traveling with my son's baseball team and our team reserved 9 rooms at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous. I was slightly nervous about having to sign a contract about team behavior that stated the boys couldn't congregate in the lobby, as they would HAVE to when they were meeting up to go somewhere--but as long as they weren't loud or running around, it wasn't a problem (they hung out in the lobby a couple of times). It was very nice that the hotel provided bottled water and coffee 24 hours--I used a LOT of both :) The breakfast was short several items on our first day, but made up for it the second. And the staff was so kind about it--they were very accommodating. The kids had a great time playing in the pool area, and our team had dinner out on the deck one night. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Our baseball team made it to the state championship which took place in Wabash, In. We started looking at hotels, so our boys wouldn't have to drive to and from 1 and 1/2 hours each way. We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the baseball field in Wabash. I called the manager and few days before coming down and got our group a group rate and hotels rooms all booked. When we arrived we were greeted and told that water was provided during the length of our stay. We were also warned about the other baseball group that was staying there. We made sure our boys were respectful and followed the rules to the team contract. On Wednesday our team played a late game and we got back after the pool and patio closed. We ordered pizza and asked if we could eat on the patio, they not only let us, they provided plates and napkins. They also turned the patio lights on for us. We had no issues with rude hotel staff. It might make a difference if you are keeping your kids under control and not letting them run and cause havoc. The curfew was 10 pm for the team contract, but they let the boys stay in the lobby until 12 am, because they were quiet and respectful! So all in all we had a positive experience and given the chance we would stay there again!
We were there with a baseball team. Big mistake as this is not a family friendly hotel!!! Oh my, where to start??? As already stated, we were there with a team and had a block of rooms, or so we thought. We weren't even all on the same floor. After trying the room key several times (and people continually had problems getting in their rooms with the key card all week even after getting new cards) we opened the door to a very heavy, wet and musty smell. Rooms felt damp and made clothes feel damp. The staff was very rude and disrespectful. Before arrival, we inquired about using their conference room if it wasn't already being used and were given unrealistic price quotes. We wanted a place where the boys could eat and hang out together. They had a strict "no congregrating in the lobby" policy, even hushing adults who were talking in a normal tone IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!!! Never have I been in a hotel where we weren't allowed to hang out in the lobby. They later allowed us to use the conference room for free after inquiring about it again. They also tried to enforce a very strict 10pm curfew, which meant we were supposed to be in our rooms at 10pm. When they locked the pool at 10, we were told we had to leave the patio too, whose access was gained through the pool. We simply said we would go out the outside gate and come in through the front doors. Knowing we would need to clean baseball clothes, we inquired about the laundry facilities before arrival. The dryer was broken and we were told a part was ordered. It never arrived so we air dried the clothes in already damp rooms. The vending machine took several dollars from my child. There was only one ice machine but two floors. The kids were told they weren't allowed to drink the complementary bottled water. The breakfast area was very small and they obviously didn't plan ahead even though they had reservations for two baseball teams that would potentially be there for up to a week. They ran out of syrup, OJ, and 2% milk on our second morning there. I think they restocked two days later. After being there for a few hours, we were asked to sign a contract labeled "Team Guidelines" that was never presented at check-in that stated some unrealistic expectations including: 1. Guests are not to congregate or loiter in the lobby area. 2. No decorating of rooms or room doors (we had signs for the boys on the doors with removable no residue tape and did not remove them from the doors) 3. No excess noise - after 10pm, guests are expected to be in their rooms. 4. No more than 4 guests to a room...um...families with more than two children? unrealistic!!! 5. All alcoholic beverages are to be kept in guest room at all times. There were other points on the contract, but those were the most unrealistic. The others were common sense. By the way,we told them we would not sign the contract and actually started to look for a different hotel because everyone felt like they had to walk around on pins and needles and the boys felt like they couldn't have any fun. Long story short...this is not a family friendly hotel. The housekeepers and girl working the breakfast were the only friendly workers. The front desk workers, including the manager, Sol, were VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!
Very nice facility for the price. Was good for our purpose. Quiet setting which we liked but might be an issue for some. We always appreciate the full breakfast. Pizza next door. A short drive offers fast food choices and access to stores that would provide essentials.
I made a reservation back in May for a trip later in the summer. I called a couple of weeks ago to check to make sure my reservation was taken care of. I was informed that the dates were off by one day and I wasn't going to be able to stay on the last night of my stay. The woman that I spoke to was very curtious and polite. When she wasn't able to help she transferred me to the manager. The manager answered the phone as if it was an inconvenience. I explained the situation and stated that I understand that mistakes are made. Solidad (name of the manager) continued to be disrespectful and hostile on the phone and said there was nothing could be done. She hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation because she didn't want to answer any questions. I called corporate office and was told the same thing. The corporate office called to confirm and speak to the manager. They were told that the manager had left for the day. This call was made immediately after being hung up on by Solidad. Nothing was done about the mistake on the hotel dates and nothing was done about the unprofessional actions made by a manager of the Best Western.
I traveled for a reunion at Grissom and was wonderfully surprised by what a wonderful hotel and staff I ran into. I had a problem with my keycard lock and my needs were taken care of ASAP - and on probably one of their busiest weekend - Just a fantastic experience and will be a repeat stayer!!!
We traveled to Peru IN for a weekend away and to see the circus, Found 2 wonderful little places to eat thanks to the internet available. Had a nice swim in the pool that was just the right temp. The only problem I had was our room was so humid that my bathing suit was still wet more than a day later so I had to use the laundry bag to pack it. That was minor but might be something to remember to bring a bag for anything that may be wet when leaving.
Very impressed. Wonderful hostesses. Very clean Hotel. Free cold bottled water, pool towels, lots of bed pillows, shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash, nice breakfast.....It's the little things...Awesome stay.
This is an excellent place to stop when traveling in or through Indiana. The people at the desk are helpful and professional. The rooms are maintained well. I have been stopping here for years as it is in a good location for visiting my family and have always found the inn to be a welcoming place.
Well managed hotel. Clean, fresh and inviting. Rooms are very comfortable with flat screen TV and nicely decorated. Awesome shower head. Breakfast is outstanding with a friendly and kind hostess.Hotel is quite with a very friendly staff. I stay here whenever I am traveling in the area. You would not be disappointed.
Lovely circus decor! Loved seeing the lion in the circus cage. The lemon water was so welcoming...nice home-like touch. Cleanliness was top notch. Thanks for the daily newspaper and free coffee or tea to go with it.
Good quality hotel, very dependable. I have stayed here several times, and they keep making improvements. I have also stayed at a few other Best Western hotels. This one is comparable & hometown friendly.
The pool was filthy and had to be closed. We paid for a Jr suite with a jacuzzi tub, but the tub had obviously been repaired multiple times with putty as there was a big lump where you would sit down. No way it could be used as a tub. It was really just a basic room. The breakfast is as basic as it gets. NOT Impressed. We asked for a discount because of the issues and received nothing!
Nothing out of place in the room with attention to detail of a Best Western Plus. The shower head in the bathroom was the size of a dinner plate with really great options for different water massages. Who knew?! Where they really shine is breakfast. They served a better orange juice with pulp. The woman who was attending to us was superb. She premade the panfried eggs and small-sized omlettes. She also made bagel breakfast sandwiches and wraps them in clear plastic wrap that could be taken to go. Her extra attention given to breakfast was above and beyond and there's nothing she could've done to improve – which says a lot. This the best food experience of any Best Western I've been to in this category. If all the Best Westerns could have quality consistent with this hotel, that would be amazing.
really enjoyed our time at the hotel, staff was friendly and helpful! pool was really nice & breakfast was good. Free water and coffee 24 hours was a really nice touch. the hotel was slightly far from town and there was construction on the only road to town that was the only bummer.
I have stayed in this hotel several times over the years (due to family in the area), and the staff have consistently been friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast....but did I mention the wonderful staff? They always have smiles on their faces and have gone out of their way to answer questions and to help, including bringing my family napkins, paper plates, and plastic forks when we had a spontaneous birthday party but hadn't thought through how to serve the cake. If you're in this area, this is definitely the place to stay.
Old, tired and worn-out. This place is old and needs a complete re-furbishing. The carpet is worn out and so are some of the fixtures in the bathrooms; the sink was very slow to drain and the stopper was not even connected to its control lever. The jacuzzi-type tub is old and dirty looking. The Internet connection was impossible to maintain---it was very intermittent and sometimes non-existent.
Call for an early check in. Coming to town for a funeral. Front desk made sure our room was ready early. Very friendly. Easy check in. Room very clean. Front desk call to make sure the room was to our satisfaction. Appreciated the extra mile the staff went to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast very good.
It is a very nice place to stay close to everything we needed while there. we will mist definitely stay again. Probably next year for the Machine Knitters group that is there every April. Need more internet as it kept saying it was overloaded.
Stayed here with the wife for a few days away in Northern Indiana. Very nice, clean motel. I've had 3 back surgeries, so the bed anywhere is important to me. This place had GREAT beds...just firm enough. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast each day was good and filling. We stayed on first floor and noise was never a problem. Didn't use pool or gym, so can't comment on them. They looked nice, however. We will stay here again next time we're in the area. Convenient to every place we wanted to visit.
We have stayed here twice now. It is right on the route we take from West Michigan to Florida on US 31. It is a very nice, friendly, clean place to stay with plenty of room to park with a travel trailer. It is reasonably priced and out of the fray. We drove about 5 miles east to Beef O'Bradys for dinner which we also enjoyed.
This location was ideal for helping me to care for my elderly mother who requires constant hands on care and attention. Our stay was prompted by a death in the family and the staff was extremely understanding and accommodating to our needs.
This is a great family hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful during our multifamily stay. Hotel may want to update their wireless internet. It kept dropping. The swimming pool provided the right amount of entertainment for the younger children. The breakfast had an excellent variety of choices.
This motel is in a great location if you need to go to Peru In. Everyone is friendly but non very helpful if you have a problem. Our tub drain stopper didn't work the first night and the desk clerk took one from another room that would work but didn't fit right and so you had to have it setting just right to get a bath. I figured they would send the mant. guy in the next day and never did. I took the stopper to the desk early the 3rd day and told them what was going on and they kept the stopper and said maint would come by. He never did and I ask the desk at least 3 times for the one I gave them back or something that would work and got no help.
This property is supposed to be a "hidden gem", but I think it left a bit to be desired. Hopefully my stay isn't the norm for this hotel. Room was very clean along with the main areas, but the hall noise was loud until at least midnight. Room 126 had a ac/heating unit with the entire grate/cover missing and someone (children) could get their hand hurt if they aren't careful. The TV remote wasn't functional either. We were looking forward to the full breakfast since the price of the room was a bit on the high side for the hotel type. Unfortunately at 8 am many items were missing and their was only one lady trying to keep things stocked. There were no biscuits, bacon, waffles and only two omelets that had been there so long they were hard and rubbery. Not a horrible stay, but not among the best I've been too.
We had a very pleasant time at the BEST WESTERN Circus City Inn in Peru, IN. The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. The only minor issue was even though we were in a non-smoking room there was a slight odor of cigarette smoke present. It may not have been that room in particular but it was roaming possibly throughout the hallway. Enough for us to notice. All in all, that wasn't a deal breaker. We really enjoyed out stay and our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool. Thanks so much much for a memorable trip to the Circus City :) Thumbs Up!!
We stayed here twice and both times we had nice, clean spacious rooms, good breakfasts, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended restaurants for us and have us directions for the golf course.
Travelling from Tennessee to michigan for a wedding. No hotels for miles. This was a hidden gem. Welcoming employees, lovely room, great beds, great breakfast. Coffee around the clock. Quiet area. Hated to leave!
Bed is fantastic - better than highly promoted specialty beds at other higher cost hotels. Staff is polite. Rooms were very clean and the service is fantastic. The breakfast was neatly and cleanly arranged with options that accommodate most people. We were assisted by staff repeatedly. The stay was great and this is even while the hotel is under renovation!
Had a very nice stay at this hotel that will make me look more at the Best Western Hotel Chains. The breakfast was very good and had lots of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. Thanks for a great comfortable stay.
Wonderful hotel and staff! Will def come back again to stay!! Sol the manager was super friendly. Our room was very big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with allot of variety to choice from.
Circus City USA! That is what Peru IN is! Home of the Circus during the winter months!! And so it is only right that the Best Western Circus City Inn is decorated with a circus theme! I used to live in Peru and totally forgot it was Circus city capital until I walked into Best Western Circus City Inn! It is clean, secure, and generally a nice place to stay offering a breakfast in the morning!
Overall, this hotel serves its purposed. A place to sleep and bath while traveling. If my stay had been for a night or two, the foul odor in the room might have been tolerable. I was going to be there for a week, so I bought Glade room spray, which did little to mask the smell. I even opened the window when weather permitted (it was in the 90's) I think the smell stems from old carpet; however, when I put clothes in the drawers, the odor on them was 10 times worse than the air. Grout in bath was dirty and tub was clogged. I didn't eat food, just had coffee and milk. The pool is highly clorinated, and the smell of it hits you the moment you walk into the lobby.
The hotel had a few maintenance issues but could have been fixed. The afternoon front desk lady was amazingly helpful! It was in a great spot since we were visiting the Grissom Museum and car show the next day. It is close to the city and attractions
There isn't a lot of motels in this area and for the price it is the best in the area. I stayed for 4 nights and I told the girl at the desk the first day that the AC unit cool light would not come on and the cover was coming off. This was never looked at or fixed. Every day (except Thursday) the breakfast was almost all gone and you had to ask for them you needed the eggs, sausage, and buscuits refilled or do without.
Hotel was older Best Western. It was clean and the breakfast was edible. The room was overpriced, I paid $134 for a single night. Price should have been in the low $50 range plus taxes. Room carpet, mattress and linens need upgrading.
Rooms, and overall hotel were very clean. Breakfast was good, not alot of options, but food was good. Pool has a waterfall, is clean and well maintained. Price was a little steep for the area, but not many options in town.
Historically, this Inn was the site of a circus home location & winter home of several other small circuses. The downtown is historical with a wonderful dining experience called Coolers. The Inn was above average comfort, a good value.
Stayed here one night with the family on our way for a college visit up north. Was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door. Easy check in and informative of where things were in the town. We spent time in the pool and gym and was impressed with both. Very clean hotel and it was nice to be able to relax for an evening after a long drive. Buffet breakfast with hot and cold foods. Will for sure be back if in the area again.
Pretty much the only place in town and the price proves it.. With discount it was still 120$.. Especially with no special events going on in the area.. There's a nice looking veteran owned hotel just a mile down the road.. I'll be staying there next time.
We stayed in this hotel overnight to try to find out how likely we will go back there in the future. Pros: 1.The place is clean has the ambiance and smell of newness in it. The lounge areas two of them have good seating arrangements although at night the area close to the swimming pool was dark. Im not cozy in hotels where rooms are giving the impression of not being welcoming because no one is using them so they need to skimp on electricity. 2. All the ladies who manned the front desk are quite hospitable and engaging giving one the impression they would get out of their way to help in any way to make our stay as comfy as possible. 3. The hotel rooms have two queen beds that are some of the best beds Ive slept on. Adequate pillows although I always bring my own "My Pillow" just for added comfort. 4. Air-condition was adequate. 5. Bathroom amenities average but adequate. The bath area has good square footage with good water pressure. 6. Internet, no complaints. Very convenient. Just put in the number of your room as the password. Fast and smooth. 7. Breakfast was adequate with hot and cold offerings. 8 Overall the room size and layout was nice. There's enough space to walk around and there are three chairs for convenience which I find pleasing. One of them is an office chair. You can move it around. Con: 1. The surprise of my stay was finding out that there was no microwave and no fridge. For $117 + taxes this is not a small deficiency to me. Unforgivable. Since the inn is far away from fast food places and grocery stores we had to drive to Kroger about 10 minutes away into the town to buy some frozen dinner packages and snacks that need refridgerating. What I didnt do first however before going to the store was inspect if the inside of a cabinet where the flat screen TV was sitting on had a fridge in it. My bad I didnt do that. I didnt even notice that there was no microwave in the room. So when I got back I found to my disappointment that all the frozen stuff I bought didnt have a fridge to park plus some others. So I went to the registration desk and asked the pertinent question and was told only King bedrooms have both appliances. She offered to keep my frozens in the office fridge. But that means the food I bought I ended up bringing them to my car the following day after check out. 2. For the microwave it is outside the rooms by the main hallway close to the place where the pop and ice machines are located about 20 feet away from my room. Oh well. Lesson? Dont take anything for granted. Not all motels hotels and inns are created equal regardless of their room price.
We were in town for a softball tournament. We enjoyed spending time in the pool and patio area. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast was really good! We would definitely choose this hotel again.
I love the Best Western Circus City Inn, Peru, IN. The staff is great, just like family. The hotel is always clean and the breakfast is always hot and tasty. I never consider any other hotel when I am in Peru, IN because non can compare to the comfort and quality.
very nice place, love the front lobby with the circus animals and clowns. my children enjoyed the pool emmensly except it was a little cool. we will stay there again and unfortunately we were there for a death in family
The Best Western hotel in Peru, Indiana is a very good place for business travelers or vacationers. Great morning breakfast that outshines the normal breakfast fare. Very comfortable rooms. Good wifi service too.
I've stayed here while on business in Peru, IN before. I'm not sure when the "Newly Renovated" billboard was put up, but it doesn't appear that much has changed. The hotel is fine, slightly dated, but overall I have no real complaints. The breakfast is nice and there is a good selection of both hot and cold items. The staff are always the best part of the hotel as they are always very helpful and polite. I think the value is average because there are so few hotels in the area, they can charge a slight premium compared to some of the more budget brands in the area. We'll probably be back again as business needs, but I consider this a serviceable, slightly above average hotel.
This is an extremely nice, friendly and reasonably-priced motel. They are very accommodating and also accept pets (hopefully not pets who bark constantly - which has never been our experience). We have always had an excellent time there and would highly recommend it. I have undergone surgery in the past year so we have not been on vacation, but will definitely use this motel again and again.
I stayed for 4 nights. Town is 5 minutes away by car. Wi-Fi is quick and dependable. Breakfast kicks off at 0630 and has something for everyone. Even though you are right next to US31, the highway noise was well subdued. I'd stay there again.
The staff is friendly and helpful, Rooms are clean and nice. could use bugger pillows. The internet connection was not good. It kept telling us it was at capacity and please try again later. Pleasant stay
Lots of choice for breakfast. Foyer, generous size with soft seating. Elevator to 2nd floor. Lots of parking. Indoor pool. I did not use it. Lighting in the room could be greatly improved. Too dark to read in bed.
we could not of asked for anything better, friendly staff over and above what is expected, breakfast was wonderful, hot tasty and the over all cleanliness of the hotel, We would recommend this location to all. The Air Force base is very close along with the museum that the kids just loved to see the "Big Jets"
We have family in Peru and always stay at the Circus City Best Western when we visit. This is an extremely well run and well maintained motel. They provide an exceptional breakfast, an elevator, and comfortable rooms. Be aware that this BW has a three day cancellation policy if you book on line (24 hour if you book through Circus City). Solidad and her crew will take good care of you.
I recently stayed at the Best Western and ended up in the Robinson Suite room 222. I have to say it is one of the biggest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. I have to say one of the best features of the suite is the balcony over looking the pool which is great if you have kids. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
Quiet hotel with very comfortable beds and excellent choice of fresh and hot breakfast items. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Will definitely stay again.
This is a great place for fun relaxation, plenty to do as well as foods available. Spent time with family while my son assisted me with car issues. Easy access for physically disadvantage folks. but plenty of exercise avaialble
When visiting Indiana Best Western Circus City Inn, Peru, IN is the only hotel I stay at. Every member of the hotel staff goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are always clean. The breakfast is always very good.
My daughter and I were your guests when we returned to Peru, Indiana for my Mom's funeral & memorial service. Your staff were kind, comforting, and respectful of our needs for some peace and quiet. We thank you.
Our quick trip to visit grandchildren . . .treated them to a night in the hotel to swim as a break from the Indiana weather. Hotel reservation made online, front desk ready with keys when we arrived, special request for room location was honored, room was tastefully decorated and CLEAN which I appreciated. Absolutely no complaints here . . .
The location was great, very easy to find. Very helpful staff upon check in and check out. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I think the rooms could have had is a refrigerator for the cost of the room. Had a very good breakfast, the variety was a mixture of hot and cold items, all fresh and good. Did not leave hungry ! Plenty of parking. Nice and quiet place. All in all a very nice stay.
The hotel is nice. All amenities were quality. The TV was great. The bed was slept well. The shower was great. A light was out in the bathroom, but no big deal. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot items and quick items. Overall, it was a nice stay.
We stayed at the hotel recently and was delighted with the cleanliness, and service. The location was excellent; right off State Highway 31. We mistakenly left some clothing and received an email that we had done so. In less than a week the clothing arrived at our home. We appreciate the honesty of the housekeeping.
The location was very good; very helpful at check in and room was excellent. Would stay there again. We forgot a couple pieces of clothing in our room and presto; a call from the staff was to us and we received the forgotten articles in less than a week. I so appreciate honesty.
Stayed for one night. In town for a gymnastics meet. The hotel was quiet, immaculately clean and breakfast was great. We encountered two employees during our stay and both were at the front desk between the hours of 10 pm on 12/11/15 through 7am on 12/12/15. They were both extremely friendly, courteous and helpful- more so than what we have encountered at other comparable hotels. Our only minor complaint was that the hotel was out of shampoo and conditioner which was inconvenient. My husband had to leave at 10pm to find a store that was still open in town.
Thanks for hosting friends for our SCA Fall Rum event! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating! As the previous person mentioned, the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that only the suites have a microwave and fridge. Luckily one of our friends had a suite so I could store what I needed. If we have more events in this area we will definitely stay here!
Have stayed here a few times, it's a nice quiet hotel, they let me park my motorcycle right by the door, the only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 is there was no fridge or microwave, other than that the staff were friendly and very helpful and it's a clean hotel.
Very clean, quiet hotel! The breakfast consist of scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits plus the normal sweet rolls and a lot of other goodies! I would recommend it to families or folks just traveling through.
This Best Western Property is very Quiet and Clean. A Really Nice Hotel. The Staff is all So Friendly. Breakfast the next morning was a plus. Eggs, Sausage, Gravy, Muffins, cerea, yogurt, and a lot more! You do not leave there hungry! l Really Easy Access In and Out to Road. I would definitely stay there again.
This last-minute trip challenged me to find a place to stay following the Notre Dame-USC game 2015. It was farther away than I had wanted, considering I had to drive after the game, but that's the breaks. The night clerk was friendly and funny. I was a very late arrival and my check-in was very smooth. The room was perfect. My only "complaint" is that the pillows were very firm and rounded, like sleeping on a ball. Other than that...the bed was VERY comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and everything worked. Breakfast was standard Best Western fare and kept up, but there was a tip jar for the worker. I used to work for BW and I'm not sure that is allowed, even if the franchise owner says they don't mind. Other than those two things, it was a short, yet pleasant stay.
Have stayed here many times and have never had an issue of any kind. Tons of places to eat and things to do in Peru, IN. Easy access right off US-31, easy to find. Grounds always well maintained and lit. The breakfast buffet could use more options, but what was there was good!
The staff at Circus City Inn was tremendous during our stay. We came to do ancestry research and ended up with an ER visit for health issues. Through all of this, the staff was caring and helpful. The rooms were immaculate, always, and the staff made sure that our needs were met.
We traveled to Indiana for a military reunion. During our stay at the Best Western in Peru, we were treated with kindness and all staff were friendly and talked and laughed with our military family. The stay and the breakfast were great! Best sleep I think I have had at a hotel, and I have paid much more for less quality.
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety. The lady who worked in the breakfast room was very nice and accommodating. She frequently came around to see if you needed anything. They had free Wi-Fi, which is always nice. I didn't use the indoor pool but it looked nice. I was there for a business meeting. The meeting room was nice. It was a small group. I would definitely stay here again.
An excellent Best Western and wonderfully maintained, inside and out. The rooms and the entire facility were spotless. Lots of pillows on the bed to select the right firmness. We had a wonderful stay there with very a nice staff.
Very nice stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff was helpful with any questions I had. Was traveling by motorcycle and the staff had me park my bike under the carport at the front of the hotel. Would stay here again. Great hotel.
