Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn

We were previously booked at a different hotel, which when arriving (after 7 hr drive) desk clerk said they had no hot water and would not for days. We then went to another hotel (same chain). After seeing the parking lot and entryway and sign saying “be back in 30”—we went next door to this hotel and could not have been happier. The desk receptionist was wonderful. She was friendly, helpful, caring and interested in where we were from etc. We were so happy they had a room for us and were even able to give us something near the entrance as mobility is a challenge. After almost staying at the other location we were thrilled to walk into a beautiful clean room. Our two night stay was great, breakfast is always so nice at Best Westerns and this one didn't disappoint. Yes, we did pay more than we had hoped but having sandwiches in the car and skipping a couple of restaurant visits was well worth the comfort and safety we had here. Lesson learned— you get what you pay for and in this case paying more was so worth it!

My wife and I had a good experience at this hotel. Room fully met expectations and was clean. Breakfast also checked all the boxes for traditional hotel fare. Our front desk person was efficient in getting us in, but seemed disengaged. If your looking for dinner recommendations use trip advisor Vs soliciting her suggestions.

We checked in on a Tuesday afternoon. The front desk person was very nice and efficient. The room was very clean and all the drains, heater, & ect. worked fine. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet all night. Breakfast in the morning was quite good with plenty of food. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this stay was fantastic. I had my reservation cancelled at another property and was very upset. From the first call to the hotel I immediately felt relaxed. The front desk agent was genuinely sympathetic and kind. She explained my options and answered questions such as available AAA rate etc. When I settled into my room I noticed that it was clean, organized and comfortable. Every interaction with every team member made me feel welcome. Every time I went for breakfast the place clean. All food items tasted good, was appropriate temperature and tasted fresh. Menu was always posted so I knew what to look forward to the next day. The bed was luxurious and I was pleasantly surprised that after the 3rd night the bed linens still smelled fresh and just laundered. It was clear that they were newer. Bathroom was clean and well appointed with a blow dryer and plenty of towels. Water was hot and pressure good. I don't usually do this but found I told every housekeeper, attendant and agent I came across how much I was enjoying my stay. If you can't tell, I highly recommend this wonderful and conveniently located property and most definitely will be booking here the next time here.

Fantastic, clean hotel. Warm and inviting exterior and interior. Clean hallways and room. Everything in room was in great shape, clean restroom and comfortable bed. Very quiet hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, top tier Best Western.

We stopped for a quick overnight on a long drive. Needed clean, quiet and safe….. this hit all the marks. The front desk staff were very polite and kind, our room was huge and comfortable. Once we hit the bed we didn't hear any sounds until our wake up alarms went off! Right off I-10, in a good area that seemed very safe and affordable. If we are this way ever again, this will be on our short list!

Service was great. Staff so very helpful. room was so comfortable, Internet great. Lots of pillows, a little too soft for my comfort, but bed was perfect. Breakfast was excellent lots of choices. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend

Great hotel. Loved the theme colors (relaxing teal blue). Although I didn't use the pool on this trip, I love that it had one and would likely use it in the future. Breakfast was nice and hot and had good selections, even for my picky husband. Bed was not comfortable (back hurt when we woke up and throughout the night), and sofa and shower were not meant for tall people, as hubby is 6'3" and had to duck in the shower. He went to try to sleep on sofa when he woke up with hurt back on bed, but couldn't fit on the loveseat (he is used to sleeping on sofas). But overall, I would use this hotel again. Price was decent, compared to other hotels in general, and didn't get nearly as much out of other hotels we stayed at during this trip.

I stay almost exclusively at BW because of the rewards program and I can say that this say was definitely right on par with good quality. The breakfast was unique with having omelettes and I really enjoyed the break from the normal eggs. The staff is very nice and the rooms were clean, quiet and beds were clean and comfortable. This is the best location in the immediate area as far as BW hotels are concerned.

Even at a discounted price this Best Western hotel was a little pricey. It's not a luxury hotel but it was well above average. For the facilities and the level of service it seemed well above average, but we're those extras really worth the extra $50 to $75? The location was awkward to get to, but I would put this hotel as the highest ranking of all the stops on our vacation. The service was kind, professional and courteous, the bed was relaxing and comfortable. And don't even let me get started about the breakfast! It was one of the best I've had - well stocked and hot with a great selection. The automatic coffee machine offered cappuccino, coffee, and hot cocoa and even decaf versions of the same. The cleanliness and level of professional service made this the height of our stay. In fact, we had only booked one night and decided to stay two nights!

The room was good. How good the breakfast is depends on who is working. The morning of July 9th was good, the 10th left a lot to be desired. The person working on the 10th was in no hurry to replenish items that were out, including orange juice. Lobby staff could be a lot friendlier. Housekeeping young man was very friendly and welcoming.

The manager tashema is VERY rude. She needs to work on her communication and delivery skills. Also her problem solving skills are at a all time low for a manager. I stayed 2 nights with small children TV did not work for a whole day imagine trying to keep them entertained while not trying to disturb other guests. I went to tashema on this matter and she was so rude about it. That she didn't know how to handle the situation so she got hostile and started cursing. When I mentioned oh wow thus how you're handling it by cursing, she walked off and said "oh well"

This was a disappointing stay for multiple little reasons that added up to a negative over-all experience. The water pressure in the shower was so limited that it resembled that found in a mid-price range motor home. Those sparkling white bath towels were coarse - not sandpaper coarse but more like brown-paper-towels-in-a-public-high-school-restroom coarse. Over a three night visit, housekeeping made it into my room to do just one thing a day; one day to empty the trash, one day to make the bed, and one day to pick up wet towels. Finally, there was a musty odor in this room and the carpet always felt damp. This was a second floor room without any obvious water damage or leaks anywhere, so there was something else going on here regarding the environment. We live in Florida and know that humidity is part of summer life here, but this was well beyond the routine. A bright spot was the front desk staff that was unfailingly polite and helpful. Best Western is a respected, mid-range lodging option throughout the Sunshine State. Unfortunately, too many shortcuts in this particular Best Western have created a sub-part option for travelers.

I was only here for a couple of days but I was very happy with this hotel. It's close to the interstate and the pillows and bed were comfortable. The shower pressure was great. The best part… the staff. I spoke with three of them at the front desk while there and all of them were so friendly and so helpful. I'd go back again just for the amazing staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

Having to leave Orlando for an out of state long term work assignment, a mere 3 days after my adult daughter was diagnosed with MS, was extremely stressful. Sherita, the front desk associate working on New Years Eve, went above and beyond to make what had been a lousy week and ending to 2022 that much more pleasant. I hope Best Western appreciates her dedication to Customer Service as much as my family does! Eric Loudin

Hotel was very good overall. my only recommendation is breakfast option. Rooms were very clean, however they provide room cleanup if you request once every 3 days. The location is very central to all Pensacola and 5 miles to the Alabama border.

Was so pleasantly surprised on this trip. Although it had great reviews, I don't always believe them. First, we chose it because of price and proximity to daughter's apartment. Checking in was easy and fast and the clerk was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The room was also very roomy! Breakfast offered many, many options and, again, kind staff and very clean area. Did not have an opportunity to use pool (but looked great) or workout area. Would definitely stay here again.

Employees were wonderful. Place was clean. Beds are very comfy. I have back issues, and BW has always had the most comfy beds. Will continue to stay at BW from now on. I've never had any issues with any Best Westerns I've ever stayed at.

While the lobby is a little small for a Plus, the dining area and the rooms proved it was worth the status. Very clean and well kept. The breakfast had a great choice of options. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.

The hotel staff was professional and pleasant when we arrived at 10 pm. The room was clean and cool upon arrival. The bed was comfortable. Lots of parking available and the parking lot lighting was great. Felt very safe going to and from the car.

Location location location. We were visiting Navarre, Pensacola and Perdido key and this location was convenient to them all without being terribly expensive. Clean and updated property. Great hot breakfast. Staff was courteous and welcoming.

Overall experience was good staff was very nice and courteous there was some type smell in bathroom not sure if fresh paint of something of that nature tv remote didn't want to connect to well but it worked

The hotel was spotless and in a convenient location. The front desk employee was kind, helpful, and courteous upon check-in. I just had an overnight stay. The breakfast buffet was very hearty and had lots of choices. I am staying here next month for a couple of nights and looking forward to it.

I like this location and the staff was great. The room was clean, and the hotel was quiet. I would stay here again on my next trip to Texas. I was up and out too early for the breakfast, but I was able to grab a couple of Danish on my way out to go with the coffee that is always available and very good.

This is the perfect hotel for a quick family get away to visit Pensacola Beach. It is a 15-20 minute drive to the beach and will save a significant amount of money versus booking a hotel on the beach. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. They do need to invest in better bath soap, other than that no complaints. The hot breakfast is a huge plus.

Booked online for family suite type room. 2 queens and a sofa bed. MY LIKES... Hotel is right off interstate easy to find. Clean , neat, grounds. Clean interior. polite host. My dislikes... HORRID bed pillows! The tiny square ones and they appeared to have shredded foam inside,, not comfortable at all.. Mattresses are also Terrible and uncomfortable. Elevator is VERY noisy. Smell of cheap industrial cleaners! Tv was too. Too loud during breakfast. No 2% or skim milk offered.. Didn't care for the taste if the breakfast food. I

Just spent 3 nights there while visiting family in the area. Excellent experience. Clean and quiet. Bathroom very clean and tidy as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast about average, but no complaints. All in all an excellent experience. I will stay here again next time.

We stayed here one night on visit to see son who lives in Pensacola. Our beachfront hotel was booked first night of our stay. This hotel was clean, staff was great, and room was comfortable. We would have no problem staying there again when we head back. Would recommend.

By far the best experience/hospitality I've had at any hotel! I needed a room at about 1am. Called the hotel up and was greeted by Richard L. He was able to answer every question I had. Once I arrived at the hotel to check in and pay. He had extra blankets ready in advance for me and my group coming in! He went the extra step! I will definitely be booking here everytime I'm in the area!

This hotel has a hot breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff at the front desk is very friendly, especially Dusty. He checked us in, and was very helpful. This is a very nice hotel!

There was black mold growing in the ice machine on the third floor. I was sickened to see a very large amount floating in the ice bucket the next morning. I didn't feel comfortable eating the breakfast after that.

We were greeted by Dusty who was so incredibly efficient and helpful. He is certainly a jewel of an employee. We saw his name on the internet and felt very lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting him.

Its always our first choice to stay at a Best Western hotel because we always know what to expect. We always get a friendly greeting from the front desk to house keeping. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is fresh and the prices are fair.

The entire visit from start to finish was unpleasant beginning the moment we checked in . The lady at the front desk was nothing short of rude and unwelcoming. The room had an unidentifiable odor that lingered . The staff I encountered during the rest of our short stay seemed also quite put off . The overall vibe snd energy of this place was absolutely terrible . The price was $ 180.00 for the night. So that was painful after being treated like we were in motel 6. The one thing that was positive was the breakfast area was clean. I understand that people sometimes are having bad days and I would normally give people the benefit of the doubt , but I don't want anyone to have the experience we just had . My advice .. stay anywhere but this place .

This place is amazing clean and entire staff are nice polite and helpful. I was able to get early check in the pool was clean outdoors very peaceful loved it! I will be back and bringing the family ! Not soon enough!!!

Hotel is excellent location right off of I10 Exit 7, very clean, quiet, professional staff, reasonable fees, nice pool. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through Pensacola. I also recommend this as a great place to stay in Pensacola.

The parking area is extremely well lit and right off the freeway. Great breakfast in the morning. We had two different rooms which has some minor maintenance issues but was clean. There's a nice pool in the back. Easy check in and out. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at the BW Blue Angle Inn many, many times for work travel over the years. The accommodations have consistently been nice, clean and comfortable. The drinks from the machines are good and cold and the continental breakfast has a nice variety of items.

We had to evacuate from Hurricane Ida - we felt very welcome Front desk staff member Dusty was very helpful and caring. Although they were not able to clean our room daily, they tried to replenish towels daily

I had to change my plans last minute due to my father in law passing with covid. I did not get an opportunity to make sure I was emailed a confirmation. To my surprise my first night was never cancelled. I was charged full price.

Upon check in Tushima and Dusty were very helpful and knowledgeable. Dusty also print us some direction. Carrol in breakfast greeted us and she keeps breakfast area neat n clean. They follow all covid19 protocols. Overall it was a great stay.

We stayed here on 2 different occasions in August, both time were very good. Dusty checked us in both times. Check in was smooth and quick. A week later when we came back Dusty remembered my name. He is knowledgable of the area and a really sweet guy. Our room was very clean. I wipe everything down at every check in and usually come across something. Great job house keeping! I will stay here again.

Really helpful and friendly staff, nice clean pool and a workout room. The continental breakfast had a nice variety and everything was good. My only complaint is that the price is a little steep considering how far the hotel is away from the beach.

We planned a family vacation back in February. We were quoted a very reasonable rate of $707.47 for 5 nights (average $141.49). We had a family emergency and had to adjust the dates. Added a Thursday night and took a couple days off the end. We were not given a price on the Thursday night, didn't really think about it at the time. When we checked out, we discovered they charged us $312.77 (tax included) for the Thursday mid-week night. I will acknowledge we should have gotten this information, but regardless, this is an outrageous amount for what it was.

We came to Pensacola to see our daughter who was in school for the Navy. This was a great hotel with friendly staff and the hotel was exceptionally clean. If our family had to stay in this area again we will def be choosing this hotel again.

The room was clean but the ac filter in the room & hallway was filthy! The room had a strong musty smell. They were still doing brown bag take & go breakfast which was yuck. All the other hotels we stayed in while here had returned to the full breakfast with gloves & masks required to self serve. It makes no sense to me for no employee at this hotel to wear or require customers to wear a mask then do the take & go breakfast. I think its to save owners money while still charging a premium price!

Very clean hotel and the staff is very friendly. Dusty was the one at the Front desk when I returned in the evenings. He always greeted me as I walked in the lobby. It was nice to see a friendly face after a long day at one of my stores as this was a business trip. I was also able to get a good nights sleep because the bed was so comfortable. Definitely impressed with Best Western Blue Angel Inn.

We stayed here in Jan.'21 and decided to stay again on a return visit. This place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Coffee, tea, and juice available 24hrs. I have never stayed at a hotel where I remember the front desk people, but Dusty is far and away the best front desk guy ever!

We needed two rooms and this was the o KU place available around. Must be a busy area. They were accommodated us. The staff was very friendly. Never seemed annoyed with anyone asking for the sacked breakfast (buffet was down for pandemic). Sacked breakfast was okay. Otis Spunkmeyer muffin, granola bar, and yogurt, with coffee and juice available at all times. Coffee was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Clean beds and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint I would have is the noise from above us. It sounded as though kids were running sprints up there between 2300-2400. Hotel is a nice distance from NAS Main Gate. About 15-20 minutes with much in between. We were able to grab picnic stuff at the local Walmart before heading on base to visit our Sailor. If you're a Navy family you may like this location, but may prefer a shorter drive. We didn't mind the 15 minutes.

We came in late and just needed to stay overnight for a business meeting the next morning. The check-in was easy and efficient. The room was clean with a good shower and hot water. No breakfast served, but a brown bag was provided with a delicious muffin, yogurt and breakfast bar.

Decor was modern, rooms were clean. The staff was extremely helpful with providing extra bedding for the fold of it bed. Due to COVID, breakfast was limited but the staff made sure we picked up premade breakfast snacks.

Came to celebrate one of my Navy kid's promotion. Room was nice and clean. Had a king size bed. Check-in went smooth. The bag breakfast is not what I expected. Other Best Western and hotels are actually offering hot breakfast. I guess it depends on the owners if they want to provide a hot breakfast. Overall we had no issues.

Within 10 hours of leaving the property, I called about my aromatherapy neck and shoulder wrap that was left in the room. No one else had checked into that room. My neck wrap was no where to be found. It had been in the microwave to heat up. I called again the next day. I went by the hotel again, left my # and no luck. I called again. It was IN the room but someone chose to take it. Very disappointed that my property was taken. We stayed at another Best Western in Travelers Rest, SC and went back for a pillow.....no problem but I suppose someone is enjoying my gift from my son.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. They served an decent breakfast and good coffee. It was nice to be able to grab both on the way to work each morning.

No one in this hotel was wearing masks. I mean no one. Guests in the halls and elevators without masks, even the staff who checked me in did not wear a mask. Signs on the entrance to wear masks and maintain distance were completely ignored and unenforced.

We stayed three nights for a family funeral. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Great location for our purpose of visiting family. Dusty checked us in and was extremely helpful and friendly!

Recommended by a friend, and I second his recommendation. The hotel was quiet, clean and the towels, bed linens, etc. were fresh and clean. No minuses at all with the hotel and it is right beside I-10 with easy access.

Pensacola has lots to choose from as far as lodging if you choose this hotel you get very clean rooms no mold no mold smells no bugs .just stay here you won't regret it pay the price best place to stay

Nice, comfortable beds and rooms, great shower, and perfect location for easy access to I-10. Internet is mediocre and in my opinion in 2020, fast internet should be a given at any hotel. Property is great otherwise, with clean rooms with plenty of space. I would recommend this hotel.

This was a great hotel for the price. My family took a weekend trip to Pensacola and needed a good priced place to stay. This hotel offered a nice gym to work out and a area to buy snacks and items for the room. The staff was always nice to us and greeted my family every time we went in and out. I would highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was not provided due to COVID.

Great front desk staff. Very clean room and comfortable beds. I gave it a 4 only because I choose this hotel for the free breakfast so that was one thing I didn't have to add to my list of things to do, but they used the pandemic as a reason to not provide one and I wasn't aware of that until after I was checked in and just came from a hotel in another state that still offered there but made it individually wrapped or made packages to choose from.

The Inn was easy to get to right off the interstate. Check-in was quick and easy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The decor is beautiful. Our room was on the first floor. The room was immaculate and very fresh and clean.

we travel to and from florida sometimes twice a year from texas. this best western is perfectly suited for the trip as it is the half way point between the two cities. the rooms are always clean as is the entire facility. it is located near the highway for an easy on/off. several good restaurants near by. have been here at least 18 times over the years and will continue.

Front desk staff friendly/helpful. Our room was clean, beds comfortable. Bathroom clean. Hotel was quiet, and we were not disturbed by street noise. Breakfast was ok. Easy access from I-10. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The customer service from our clerk named Dusty was more than I've seen in a long time. He was very helpful and friendly! I cant say enough good about him. Our family fell in love with him. The room was clean, the pool was clean and having the a place to wash clothes was a plus.

Nice hotel. Clean room Functional, everything worked. I stayed during COVID-19 pandemic. No breakfast. Hotel a bit overpriced because of that. Pensacola being a beach town was not an excuse to charge that price. Hotel not even close to beach. For the right price, this hotel would be superb. I slept great. Would definitely stay again...for the right price.

Nice clean hotel for the duration of our stay. I cannot comment on daily housekeeping because the service was suspended during our visit to protect workers from unnecessary risk of Covid exposure. I'm OK with making my own bed to keep someone safe. Room was clean on arrival and front desk clerk was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely use this hotel as our base of operation for future trips to Pensacola.

Newly remodeled and you could tell! Everything looks excellent from paint to carpet. The entire hotel was pleasing to the eye! The staff was excellent: friendly and cheery. The room was clean and smelled great and not like the usual hotel. Didn't get breakfast due to COVID, but juice and coffee available. The decoration was a nice touch as well (see photos).

Staff was great! Hotel very clean, rooms awesome and well stocked. Breakfast was no go due to covid 19 reason but did supply juice and coffee. Location is not far from alot of things. If you don't mind driving 10 min to get to beach or other items this is the place to go!

Definitely not a $279.00 room. Website shows room as $127.00. When I called I was quoted $279. Ok fine. Well the room is more like a motel 6 room. Supposed to have complementary breakfast, but when I checked in I was advised only coffee and juice due to covid. The beds are comfortable. That's the only thing going for this place.

I loved the place. From pulling up in the parking lot all the way to checking out. Best western plus Blue Angels in is definitely the place to add to your lodging. You will not regret staying here. It is very beautiful and well maintained. I can't give enough stars on this one But it's a high quality place to stay. Make it your home away from home when you visit Pensacola and you won't be disappointed.

We had a great stay, room was very comfortable, roomy and clean. Hotel was taking precautions due to COVID-1, however a grab and go type breakfast would of been appreciated. Location was easy to get to, right off the interstate.

Excellent customere service! Thanks for all of the services you provided me. The room was clean and large. The room included a couch along with a desk. Everything worked (TV, WIFI, lights). The bathroom and tub were very nice. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would stay here again if I visit the area again.

We stayed here one night. We liked this hotel. our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a good night sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast next morning was very good. All the staff we encountered were friendly.

Hotel check in/out excellent. Room a little worn but immaculate. Breakfast did not open on time, so we settled for a cup of coffee to go, our only disappointment. Very quiet, excellent parking facility. Did not hear a peep all night, slept really well.

This was a nice hotel. We had a K room, which was very clean and included a couch, table, desk, chair, full HDTV, microwave & frig w/freezer compartment. The bathroom was a little small and the Wifi was a little slow. Breakfast selwections were good. Ample neaby restaurants for dinners. We would stay here again.

My mother and I stayed here overnight on our way home. The hotel was clean and comfortable but the customer service was excellent especially the front desk agent, Derrick, who checked us in. My mother was on crutches after breaking her ankle and fell trying to get in the elevator. He helped her up and was so nice. Thanks for a nice stay!

The sheets had human waste on them which made them very nasty , i couldn't really sleep on the sheets, we slept on top of the sheets because they were that dirty . we took pictures of the sheets . The breakfast was really cold , there breakfast tasted like rubber

We've been on a month long road trip & this was one of the cleanest, most comfortable rooms we've been in. The shower was excellent and the bed very comfy. Everything worked in the room. Breakfast was a little above average. We'll be back next trip. Thank you for paying attention to customer service with friendly & efficient staff.

The rooms were exactly as pictured, which is NOT exactly common especially in chain-type hotels! The room was SPOTLESS, which I was very impressed with! There was not a single speck of dust to be found at all. The hotel itself was kept very well and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were all super kind and very friendly and helpful. Sherri from housekeeping was the most amazing ever and took the most absolute pride ever in caring for our room, and even arranged all of my daughter's stuffed animals on the bed and arranged our shoes nicely on the floor. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This was my second visit to Pensacola in two years and my second visit to this hotel. It did not disappoint. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast had good choices and the dining area was immaculate. Price Ranger was fantastic. It is ten to fifteen minutes from top notch eateries. Room was clean and quite. Highly recommended.

I had been flying all night from Arizona, flew into Destin and drove to PNS. I arrived early and the staff was super friendly and was able to get me into a room right away. The room was clean, and comfortable. Only thing I can note is that I exited the room later in the day, pulled my do not disturb sign, and no one came in later to clean my room and refresh my towels. By the time I returned that evening, it was late and I just didn't feel like calling down to discuss it. The breakfast they had was perfect to start off your day, and appreciated that it was available. My only complaint I really have (and not really anything they can do about it) is trying to exit the property to the left to catch the freeway. It's VERY congested and sometimes you just needed to be aggressive to get yourself out of there.

Loved staying here. The hotel is beautiful inside and outside. The rooms are very clean and are decorated with a modern flair. The hotel staff are amazing. They are friendly, outgoing and will help you with anything. Breakfast is excellent. Fresh hot food in a clean environment.

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet location, but only a short distance to restaurants / dining. The lobby, hallway and room were very neat and clean. Price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure that I would have an enjoyable stay. The check in was super easy and it was fast. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable which made for a great night's rest. The location was a tad bit hectic when it came to the traffic, but overall, I enjoyed the stay!

This hotel is a perfect travel stop. It has recently been updated and they even decorate for seasons! The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices. There is a Ruby Tuesdays less than a mile away, so somewhere nice to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This past weekend my wife and I stayed at this hotel as we were going to the Blue Angels homecoming air show. The hotel staff was very friendly and the Double queen room we had was super clean. We had our young grandkids with us and they really enjoyed making their own free breakfast the next morning. This hotel is literally just off the interstate so it's very convenient if you're traveling through Pensacola.

I highly recommend staying here. Beautifil seasonal decorations throughout common areas.Good breakfast with healthy options. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. We'll be back with more family members including children. Everything was perfect.

I trip to Houston for golf tournament. This hotel it is very well located for me on my trip to Houston and you enjoy staying there very much. There are good restaurants close by and if we decide to stay an extra day we can go visit the navel air museum.

Room was clean and spacious, having both a king size bed and a sofa. Staff was friendly. The coffee in the room wasn't very good, but the coffee in the dining room was excellent. I enjoyed having breakfast available every morning. There was a nice variety from which to choose. We had a very pleasant stay.

we travel to florida from texas and back sometimes twice a year. this best western is the only one we use and this is over the course of ten or more years, the rooms are always clean, friendly service and their breakfast is the best anywhere. they are located close to the highway with several good restaurants near by.

We were traveling from Ft. Hood, TX to Disney in Florida. This place was about halfway along our route and we loved it. Our 3 year old enjoyed the pool, in the evening it's in the shade. Check-in and check-out during both of our stays was excellent. Room was clean and the A/C was already on when we walked into our room, which was a big relief from the Florida heat. I'd recommend this place for anyone traveling through or staying for longer. No complaints from me and my family.

Recently renovated hotel and very close to I-10, and on a quiet, off-the-beaten-path street. Plenty of parking. No hot tub; has outside pool (it's Florida!). Full breakfast, with make-your-own-pancakes bar (even had Nutella); be forewarned - the portions are small and there are no "special" coffees (just plain coffee, including decaf). Smaller (kid-size) portions are great for people who prefer that, but you can always get extra servings. Very clean and well-attended. Entire facility is non-smoking (Florida law). We stayed one night and reserved a "Two King Suite" because we were road-weary and seeking quiet. The room was huge and the bathroom bigger than found in most newer hotels. Everything about our stay was lovely. Quiet, comfy bed with lots of pillows, cleanliness was an obvious priority at Blue Angel Inn. Believe me - I'm a clean freak and always check out linens, carpet, furniture, bathroom, etc before unpacking in any hotel room! All the larger suites are located in the middle of the hotel, by the elevator. I was worried about possible noise of guests coming & going outside our door with kids, luggage, etc. The front desk staff seemed puzzled about my concern because they have had absolutely no complaints about noisy elevator traffic, although elevator and stairs traffic have been areas of noise at other facilities. There are many popular restaurants within a 5-minute drive. The overnight stay exceeded our expectations - no elevator noise, quiet comfort & cleanliness all around, and a good night's rest! The price was another pleasant surprise. As "Loyalty Club" members, we will be staying there again, for sure, whenever we travel the Gulf Coast via I-10. It would be awesome if the hotel would paint murals of the Blue Angels in formation on the big walls (lobby & suites) - just sayin....

This is our choice hotel when we stay in Pensacola for its location, value, and the fact that every stay has been very nice. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great price. The only thing I would change is have to options for eggs at breakfast, one with pepper and one without.

This Best Western Plus is super easy to get to from I-10. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The young man at the desk gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. We had an issue with the toilet, which was promptly taken care of. We have stayed here before and we will stay here again n.

First time and not the last! The floors are shiny clean as is everything else! The staff are friendly, professional, and concerned about your needs. Close proximity to all your wants and needs! Looking forward to seeing you again!

Very clean and comfortable room. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to families and friends. This is the only hotel that we will stay at when we go back to Pensacola. The location is excellent close to the University of Western Florida and the Beach.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms are a little small but very clean. Breakfast is available, we didn't like the options. There is a pool, didn't get time to check it out. Can‘t say much else we weren't there often other than to sleep and shower.

I chose Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn as it was within my price range for the trip. The room I had was clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The internet was pretty easy to connect to and use. I would stay here again as the quality is pretty great for the price.

We're Platinum members of Best Western. We almost exclusively stay with BW when we travel. The Blue Angel Inn was a huge disappointment. The tub spigot was not attached to the tub wall. Luckily, the plumbing was! The handle that regulated the water temp/flow had a 3-4” play in it. There were holes in the wall from something that had been there previously. They didn't even bother to spackle the holes! Any chance there was a camera inside that wall? We were so unhappy, we cancelled our reservation for a couple of days later. I'll never stay there again. The hotel, in my opinion, is a Best Western but NOT A “PLUS.” It's lipstick on a pig.

Fast and friendly check in. Rooms a little on the small side, but it was just a one night stay so we didn't need much. Breakfast was gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, cereal etc..

The hotel was recently and partially updated. Beds were comfy. Very close to interstate but not noisy. Coffee was good! Breakfast was okay. Used rewards free night and check in was flawless. Friendly staff.

Hotel is OK. The coffee is instant. But there were problems with the reservation before I got to hotel, and I made the booking at BW. com . The hotel charged my card before I arrived , for the full stay. With this hotel, best thing I can say is buyer beware.

Easy check in. We only stayed one night, but the room was clean and the beds were soft. The bathroom is also a nice size. The lobby is very tastefully decorated. The parking lot is a bit small, but the hotel seems smaller as well. It's easy to access from the interstate and only about 30 minutes from Pensacola Beach (give or take a few minutes with traffic by the bridge—they're also doing some construction which may have added to it). Our room was on the first floor, parking lot side, and right around the corner from the lobby. We didn't hear much at all from the street, and only heard some noise from the lobby area in the morning when breakfast was being held. Breakfast was nice! Nothing spectacular, but enough of a variety of carbs (biscuits, pancakes, muffins, etc.) and protein (eggs, sausage, etc.). We didn't get to visit the pool, but overall very happy with our short stay!

Very clean and fresh linens and sheets. Shower was spotless and floors and carpet were clean throughout hotel. Seriously my socks probably get more dirty at home from my own carpet and I'm definitely ocd about housekeeping. Breakfast was different daily, with hot options.Eggs,bacon,sausage biscuits & gravy ect. Also muffin, oatmeal and cereal choices ect. A mini breakfast buffet if u will. Dining area was adequate in size and kept nice and neat. Stayed 3 nights and housekeeping did forget to clean one day but not a big issue. Well functioning laundry facility and my 13 yr old enjoyed the small fitness center as well as the pool. Lastly, but certainly not least Dusty at the front desk was AMAZING. He made sure our family had everything we needed during our stay, without hesitation. Was so kind to my family and went above and beyond ensuring a pleasant stay for us.

The indifference of the front desk clerk was very obvious as we had to wait for her to get off her cell phone to check us in. We had requested a handicap roll in shower and had a confirmation from Best Western. When checking in I was told we did not request that and she had no notation on her records I showed her the confirmation on my cellphone and she said that a church group was in the room and had preference and that is what happens when you book through a third party agency. She booked us into a room with a step in tub that had no handicap bars and was extremely slippery. The stationery bike in the exercise room cut off every 30 seconds and you had to keep pushing start to accumulate your mikes. Breakfast was ok nothing even stands out about being different. Hotel was clean our room was too and a great size, but We won't be returning — the front desk personnel need extensive instruction on extending hospitality and how to make folks feel welcome — both evening and morning shifts. A fairly new hotel should have energy this one needs a shot of B-12!

The hotel was nice enough, room was clean, breakfast was more than is typical at smaller hotels, awesome pancake machine! But the best thing about this place is their people! My daughter left her favorite baby doll behind, they called us and told us, and then held it until we returned on our way back thru the following week! My daughter cried tears of joy when she got it back!

I made the mistake of reserving a room at this hotel for the night before I actually needed it. Totally my fault. They didn't have a room for me the night I needed it so I went to holiday inn. I later called to request a refund or coupon or something since I never stayed at this hotel and the customer service rep for bw informed me that this particular location refused to even give me a coupon. Best western did give me some points but it wasn't enough to get a room. I will never stay at a best western with this service!

We are on a cross country trip to my 50 year class renioun in Montana and then onto Puyalup WA to visit with family and friends, wouldn't stay any where but BW if at all possiable. They have the cleanest rooms and friendlist staff of any place we have stayed.

Very happy with my stay here. The room was very comfortable and good sized. Everything worked fine, it was clean and kept that way during my 3 day stay. Minimal noise during the early evening hours (kids), but nothing really disturbing. Even though its name suggests differently, it takes about 20-25 minutes to NAS Pensacola. The only thing I would recommend is to get to the breakfast early. The first day I went 30 minutes before closing and it was standing room only. Perhaps if they extended breakfast time 30-60 minutes it would help with crowd control? The breakfast itself was very good.

This hotel is a 30 minute drive to the beach (if you leave early to miss the traffic). It is clean with a friendly and accommodating staff. The price is great for Pensacola and we would stay here again. It does have a nice breakfast setup with the typical options (make your own pancakes, toast, bagels, eggs, bacon, cereal, etc.)

The facility is clean and well kept. The room is a good basic hotel room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The beds are very high off the ground. If you are short or have mobility issues, you might seriously have trouble getting into bed. Breakfast overall was fine, but instant coffee from a machine - yuck!

I have been planning a trip to Pensacola to go to the Naval Air Station Museum, even though the motel is not close to the Museum it worked out OK to stay here. The facility had been recently updated, it was very clean and again, the staff, Amber in particular, very welcoming and accommodating.

Overpriced considering the location and quality of this property. Although clean, the rooms are not especially well appointed, the pillows are small square shaped and and the coffee maker is outdated. Most rooms that I have stayed in recently have a Keurig style machine and much better coffee. The bathroom was small with a sink that was cracked and the door would not stay open without wedging something under the door. Noise levels were high on this occasion due to a bus load of teanagers. Not their fault, and I can remember being one myself, but there it is. People either next to me or above me we're apparently having morning sex the next day. Good for them, but again the noise levels. For the price, there are nicer places in better areas of town in which to stay.

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast, room was very clean and everything worked. Price was ok. Hi speed internet was not high speed. Location was good for us. Pool looked nice but was not heated so we didn't use it (not warm enough during early April.

We stayed here after he wonderful day at the Naval aviation Museum. The hotel was clean and serviceable. The staff was very accommodating. However, the Internet connection is absolutely terrible. There were 12 cars in the parking lot when we checked in and we had trouble maintaining even a basic Internet connection it took 20 minutes to update three small apps on my phone. In addition, our room was an accessible room and the shower curtain did not reach the floor therefore the entire floor was flooded when you were done with the shower. Of the multiple Best Westerns we have visited on her trip this was by far the worst. Management of this hotel needs to pay attention to details.

The door feel like they are made of paper. Best Western was sold out the night I stayed. While I like that the room was clean, and the front desk was very friendly....it doesn't make up for the fact that I got to hear about everyone's trip and anything else going on in their life,all night long. If I don't get a good nights sleep, I'm not a very friendly person. Hence, the mark down in rating. Desperately needing more sound proof doors and windows.

Great service from the time my rooms were booked to the the time we left. I initially booked with a third party and when I arrived, we were told that the rooms had been canceled. However, Dusty was our biggest lifesaver! He was able to research and find our rooms and we enjoyed the staff and the rooms were extremely clean as pictured. We will definitely stay at the Best Western again when we visit Florida!!

The exterior is beautiful, the front desk staff is excellent and the room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. One of the best things is bedside electrical outlets. With a CPAP, phones, and iPad it was great to be able to plug in everything right at my fingertips.

I n't stay at this hotel again. The rooms are very noisy. The staff didn't resolve the issue of the people partying in the room above ours all night. I had to work at 7:00 am the next morning and the party was still going on after 5 times of complaining to the front desk.

The Best Western Blue Angel is OK, but has some problems related to being refurbished. There are problems with the wiring, including a junction box which pulled out to the wall when we plugged a phone charger into it. Also the air conditioner units are less than the best (to say the least. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean, employee was nice, check in was fast, free breakfast was a good perk and very tasty, rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable, and I would stay here again for sure, especially because of the location.

The rooms are nice and large and staff is nice. I would definitely stay here agian if I was in Pensacola and needed a room . Dusty at check k in was exceptional and very caring, funny, and a breath of fresh air after being in the car for a while.

My wife and I were in Pensacola for a meeting. We stayed at the Best Western Blue Angel Hotel for the night and were impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the room. We were 10 minutes late for breakfast; although the staff was cleaning up the breakfast area, they let us eat all we wanted, even turning the pancake machine back on for us. We will stay here the next time we are in Pensacola and need a place to stay overnight.

My grandson & I came to Pensacola for a quick overnight trip to see my son at UWF. Our room was clean, the staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was close to the interstate, as well. The overall stay was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.

We stay in Best Western when available and are hardly ever disappointedly. However this one was "just right". Great rate and no disappointments. Dusty checked us in and was head and shoulders above the standard guest service person. Went above and beyond to make our stay a good one.

After reading all the reviews for this hotel, I had high expectations. The Blue Angel Inn exceeded those. The entire hotel was super clean and attractively decorated. The air conditioner in our room was a little loud, but it helped me go to sleep. The location was convenient once I figured out the little turn-off to reach it. Breakfast was good, had a lot of variety, and was kept stocked by a very nice woman. One of the best assets this hotel has is Dusty at the front desk. He was so friendly and helpful! His directions to places we wanted to visit were clear and understandable. He made our pleasant visit even better. I would fully recommend this location to anyone staying in the Pensacola area.

Excellent choice if staying or passing through Pensacola. Well maintained, clean property. King bed room we had was plenty large with seating area. Bath was tub enclosure therefore no peeling, caulked tub, moldy tile or floor/baseboard water damage. Breakfast appeared to be fairly standard fare. Staff was extremely friendly. Easy interstate access and quite a few restaurants near by. Good WiFi in our room. Only complaint I would have is that breakfast is only until 9AM, 10AM would be much nicer for us late sleepers.

We made a great choice booking this hotel. First, it is very convenient to the interstate for off/on access. Secondly, the room was clean, updated, and comfortable. Especially liked having the sofa upon which to relax rather than laying on the bed or sitting in a hard chair. Third, the breakfast was better than the standard you normally encounter. The woman running the breakfast was attentive and kept everything clean and full. Lastly, the staff was courteous and helpful. Don't know what more you could ask for in a hotel!? Definitely recommend.

The Blue Angel Inn of Pensacola tanks at the top of all hotels we have stayed at this year. We have been there twice this year. We were fortunate to find the Blue Angel Inn in the Spring, so we knew wher to find a quality hotel at a fairly good price. It is, however a little pricy when compared with others.

We have stayed here on other occasions. They always meet our expectations. Our room was clean, quiet & comfortable. Close to interstate, but far enough to be quiet. Breakfast is above average for Hotel breakfast & they have an automatic pan cake maker that makes excellent pancakes. They also have gluten free items up on request. Staff is always nice & helpful. I have paid much more for Hotels that are not any where near as nice as this one. There are plenty of places to eat near by.

Easy to find and better price than other hotels nearby. The room did smell like smoke upon entering even though it was a smoke-free room. I liked having the mini fridge, microwave and sink, HBO, roomy shower, nice wall decor.

We were driving from Central Florida to New Orleans, but had gotten off to a late start. Just about the time we hit the area on I-10 that had been devastated by the recent hurricane, I was tired and ready for a motel. Sadly, hurricane victims seemed to have tied up all the available rooms in a long stretch of I-10. I found this Best Western in a motel guide, and booked a room, then we drove a hundred miles further than we'd planned, and spent the night there. It was a pleasant surprise. The room was decorated in warm and friendly colors, and the beds were more than adequate. My only complaint is that the bumps built into the floor of the bathtub did not do their job, and it was slippery. A grab rail would have been a plus. The free breakfast was much better than average, and we went on our way the next morning in good spirits.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the Best Western Plus in Pensacola, FL. The staff was fabulous, so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, right off I-10. The motel was very quiet, comfortable bed and heat. The breakfast was superb. They even had a pancake machine and Nutella! We would love to stay there again.

Have attempted to stay here previously but it was always booked, now I know why. Nice location with access to freeway, decor fitting with theme, rooms were comfortable and clean, staff professional and courteous, breakfast was just perfect to start your day. The added bonus of good WiFi service and free morning paper made my stay perfect. Highly recommend to others if you are visiting Pensacola to give this place your first choice of lodging. I will be back again for sure.

I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions this year. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend a Keurig coffee maker and recharging outlets for phone cords. I do recommend it as a nice reasonably priced hotel.

When I went into the bathroom the walk in shower was filty. There was gunk in the drain. We had already unpacked our stuff so decided if they let me use their cleaning stuff that I could just do it. They gave me cleaaning stuff to use. After that when I took my shoes off to shower this black stuff that wasnt vacuumed up got on the bottom of my feet so the carpet wasnt clean. When we pulled the covers down the sheets were dirty there were dark foot prints on the sheets.I got dressed and went down to the front desk AGAIN! The lady said she could switch our rooms. I said first I wanted to checkout the other rooms beds. Well, both queen beds sheets were horrible . The first beds sheets wete stained and looked dirty and the second beds sheets had holes in them. I could not believe it.I had the lady come look at them because I was just shocked. She said we could just both sleep in the bed with the holey sheets. I said no, just give me some clean king sheets and I will change the sheets myself in the other room.It was so late, I just wanted to sleep so I did. The next morning the maid came in while I was laying on the bed and I had a DO NOT DISTURB on the door! Grr...that was the last straw. I got dressed and went down to the front desk again. The manager was there and she saw the pictures the front desk clerk had taken of the dirty sheets, but she just said she was sorry and she would tell the general manager. The general manager has never called me to apologize or to offer me anything for all we went through at his hotel. NOTHING! I paid for a room I had to clean myself!DO NOT STAY HERE. IT WAS AWFUL AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. They should pay me for cleaning my own room. Below is a picture of some of the dirt on the sheets. Wish I had a better camera.

This place seemed brand new and was so clean. Beds were a lumpy though. We also checked in late and they did not have pillows for my kids. They said too bad. Breakfast was good in variety, but the hot food was not great quality.

We stayed at the Best Western Blue Angel Inn when we were forced to leave our home because of Hurricane Michael. The staff was a great help and were very flexible with our dates (we didn't know when we would be allowed to return home). The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the internet signal was strong and easy to set up and use. The breakfast was very good and much better that other mid price chains such as Hampton and Holiday Inn Select. We will stay there again.

traveling to and from florida and back to houston is a no brainer when this best western is booked. they are always clean and ready to receive guests. their morning breakfast service is the best. they are currently doing some front building renovations which i am anxious to see upon completion.

Wife and I visited Pensacola primarily to view a practice session of the Navy's Blue Angels. We chose Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn based on prior experience. Every thing about the Motel was just as we expected.

Hotel was nice and well kept. We had no problems at all from the hotel itself. However two hours after we arrived the TV/Internet went down and never came back during our one night stay. It WASN'T the hotels fault. The Service Provider for that area had a huge outage that took out the hotel and surrounding area. There was really nothing that the hotel could do, so I did a lot of reading that evening. The hotel overall was nice and what you would expect. The breakfast was OK, they had some hot items such as sausage and scrambled eggs, with the normal items such as cereal, juices, toast and yogurt. The staff were friendly and professional. Would stay there again if in that area.

Thought this was going to be ok when I saw the libby and upon entering our room. Upon further review it went downhill. Shower curtain was torn and raveling. Mildew on grout next to tub. Scarf on bed was dirty. Pulled back sheets and found holes/stains.

This is a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Everyone is so nice and courteous. The rooms were so clean and in order. Breakfast was really good. We had another booking that was a terrible experience so we walked into the lobby of this hotel without a reservation and they accommodated our every need and gave us a great nightly rate. This hotel gets my highest recommendation.

This hotel location looks like a truck stop area very isolated. The exterior is in need of a remodel but the lobby looks clean, the room was old and the bathroom was older old toilet seat rip shower curtain. The breakfast was terrible very little to choose from. Please save your money don't come to this hotel

I spend one night at this hotel. The lobby was clean and small then when I went to my designated room it was clean and my only issue was the breakfast it was horrible. There's nothing much to eat. I saw two bananas way too old, the bacon way overcooked and the bread looked old no fresh?? so if you are hungry go out a eat something fresh and don't bother going to the breakfast room, very disappointed. ????????????

My husband and I were driving back home from Dallas/Plano/Frisco/Little Elm TEXAS, very tired, we alswasy have a good experience with Best Wester Plus so when we saw it driving looking for a place to rest we drive in, and as soon we step in at the front desk .. here was Dusty (Dusty Bryson) and he greed us and make us laugh!! I told him: I wish every associate at the front dest would be like you!! We travel a lot, anbd Dusty is the best!! Friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We have a great check in and happy and relaxing!! Our room was great, we enjoy our stay and checking out with Tashe Depriest was great and easy too!!

Upon checking the i noticed the lobby was very clean and staff extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable (We had 2 queen beds that were comfortable). The pool is small but nice. And breakfast is good in morning, it was just ladies on our beach trip and we felt very safe would definitely recommend

I was here during my Miami-San Francisco road trip. Pensacola was my first stop from Miami. It was very long drive from Miami. It was already night when I arrived here. I need to buy some foods and water. Walmart neighborhood was very close. Room was clean so I could sleep very well.

We arrived at 2 am and the hostess was amazing! She got us a room and made sure we were taken care of. Room was quiet. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast. Amazing and accommodating place. Staff is friendly!

This hotel was amazing for a stop over. It was very clean, service was great, location was perfect, the breakfast was one of the best I've had, quiet, close to a lot. Very pleased with this little gem.

Stayed twice as half-way point between central Arkansas and Florida Space Coast, going and coming. Very, very nice stay each time. Pleasant staff and great amenities. Breakfast was great, and room was inviting each night. And a special thanks to Amanda for going above and beyond! Will recommend to all, and will definitely stay here next trip through Pensacola.

We live several hours away and our son was having outpatient surgery at a nearby hospital, but had to be in town for 3 days. We choose this hotel because the ratings were high in the internet. It was worth it. The price was average for the area, but the service was great. Breakfast was wonderful and the associates even offered a tray to help us get food to the room. The housekeeping employee brought us extra blankets and cleaned everything perfectly. The carpet on the hallway was being replaced and the workers were so friendly, they even assisted us in getting our child to the room. Best hotel we have stayed at in a long time! Definitely great place to stay.

stayed at this hotel as we always do, twice in the last 10 days. breakfast is beyond awesome, rooms always clean and ready to occupy. on my most recent visit, amber was especially helpful to me at the front desk with some extra situations i had. checking out was equally good, although i had to leave before breakfast was ready, front check out lady gave me some to go food for the ride. we have stayed here many times and never a bad situation.

After driving for nine hours, this hotel met all our needs---a good swimming pool, quiet air conditioner, very comfortable beds, very clean room, and friendly staff. Check in was quick and his restaurant recommendation at our request was wonderful and just down the street. Breakfast offered a wide variety of food. Coffee was good! Highly recommend this as a great place to stop on your way from Texas to Orlando.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good for the price, only complaint is the room had a slightly unpleasant odor but overall was clean. Keeping expectations in check with respect to the price this is a good roadside stop to catch up on sleep and hit the ground running the next day

Pulled in late night very weary from a full day of packing and driving. I wanted to keep going but my expecting wife persuaded me to pull over for the night and I am so glad that I did!! Judy at the front desk was phenomenal. Very pleasant, inviting, and informative. The hotel as a whole was very clean, to include the rooms of course!! My only complaint was that the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed all the way due to a droopy shower rod. If that is your biggest problem then I would say you are having an amazing day!! The rest of the shower was glorious with hot water and good water pressure. Not planning to stop for the night, I had packed all of our soaps and toothbrushes under an amazing amount of things. Judy was right there to help with tooth paste and brushes!! The rest of the complimentary amenities were all top notch as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. The colors went well and were inviting while remaining crisp and fresh....dare I say invigorating? The mattresses were soft yet firm, not quite as good as Holiday Inn mattresses but close. I will have to stay on the lookout for the best westerns from now on, apparently their colors are now brown instead of the old blue. And if you happen to stay at the one off of exit 7 on I-10 tell Judy that Jay sends his best!!

The hotel is not big. It is very clean and pretty. I feel safe when I'm there. The desk employees are very nice and willing to help you with anything. The 'free' breakfast is good, but the pancakes were a bit rubbery.

Our room was super clean and very cute! The staff was very friendly! Check-in and check-out was very quick. I would recommend this as a place to stay, and I will come back again. I like the fact that they have breakfast in the morning and coffee all day!

Giving my sister a ride to Florida and visiting her college. I stay in this hotel almost every time we visit. Price is always very affordable. Never let me down even if I just book one day beforehand. The service is decent and the room is comfy and clean.

Very good value for the money. Room was clean, quiet. Internet signal strength very good, even at the end of the hall. Breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT; well-stocked and well prepared, with plenty of hot and cold options.

This was probably the best overnight stay we've ever had in a best western USA. The decor, bed comfort, ambiance and staff helpfulness were second to none. And BW reservation centre gave us an excellent price.

Just pulled off in search of a room for the night and found this gem. Super frdly staff greeted us. The room makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very clam and relaxing. Good size room and everything is spotless. Would defiantly recommended this to any family visiting this area. Would stay here again on our next stay.

Not bad. Nearby restaurants. Not really walkable as for the busy intersection. Able to go in any direction to find shopping and food service. Close to several business clients Right off I-10 and near hwy 90.

This was my first time staying at this hotel and I couldn't have been happier. The price was fair. The room was clean. The decor was really cool and warming. The hotel is easily accessible from I-10 at Exit 7. Melissa was wonderful and took care of everything that I needed. My room's temperature unit was a little wonky and she gave me a little money off my room rate for the inconvenience. That's super service. I will definitely return again and again.

Well located just off freeway. Easy to get downtown for dinner at Maguire 's. Clean and comfortable and at a very reasonable price through best western website. We have stayed here in the past and would stay here again for sure!

Visited this hotel on 4/8-4/9/2018. Very impressed with accommodations, cleanliness, decor & friendliness of Dusty, front desk check in. Dusty was very efficient, helpful, recommended a seafood restaurant which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was hot, a good selection, the coffee was excellent. The hostess was friendly, making sure everyone was finding something they liked. Keeping everything replenished. I also appreciated the hotel offering fresh, hot coffee available through the day & evening. This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus, it won't be our last. The price, I thought was reasonable.

Checking in was a breeze. The staff were outstanding and friendly. The property is newly renovated and the rooms are perfect. This is one property worth visiting. Of particular note is Staff Member "Dusty". As more guests showed up he handled each and every one with courtesy and kindness. Dusty represents what this hotel is all about...OUTSTANDING SERVICE WITH A SMILE.

Wanted to spend 1 night here. It was 4/1/2018 - Easter day! The total cost was just over $150 for the night but everything was pretty much sold out so I was stuck. Room was nice with good amenities. Breakfast included sausage, eggs, pancakes, cereals, juices, breads, coffee. Overall the experience was good, just terribly high priced.

This was a very nice hotel--comfortable beds, nice bathrooms etc. I did my "clean floor test" and it passed with flying colors. There was absolutely no dirt that showed up on the paper towel I used to check the floor--unlike the time share we had just come from. Staff was also very nice--we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here after hurricane Irma, on my way back to Florida. I got there late around 10pm. The lady at the check in was very friendly and courteous. After driving all day, it was a relief that the hotel was nice and quite. I had a King Suite. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was large and very comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. There was also a small area with a couch and desk to relax in. They had a free breakfast with scrambled eggs, pastries, sausage and a pancake machine. Also located very close to a Publix grocery store and a Walmart grocery store. Will definitely stay here again.

Showed up at 12:30 am after 14 hours on the road. Got a room with 2 kings and a couch, it was a large room, big enough to fit 4 kings. Hotel was quiet, and clean. Attendant at front desk was happy to provide extra towels and bath stuff for all members of our party. Free breakfast was good. Lots of extras to meet anyone's wants to dress up oat meal or pancakes. Nutella packets, chocolate chips, etc. Hot breakfast was bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Some of the items ran out around 9 but the 2 attendants there were quick to refill and fulfill guest requests.

A great hotel to stay when visiting Pensacola. Very nicely decorated rooms that give you the feel of the beach. A very nice breakfast bar. If you need help finding a place to eat, just ask the helpful people at the front desk.

Always stay here on our way home from our stay in lower Florida. Convenient location. But traffic from the Naval FCU can be a bear. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Fair prices and a good hot breakfast in the morning.

We drove 12 hours from San Antonio, TX to Pensacola Beach, FL and chose to book this hotel based on its reasonable price. I've never stayed at a Best Western Plus and are satisfied customers. Rooms are clean and comfortable. 4 pillows per bed which was extra nice. Bathrooms very clean which is normally my fear when traveling. Plenty of room to get ready. I also liked the ambience. The decor is a beach theme which helps brightens the mood. A Ruby Tuesday's is nearby and we also had good food/service there with a friendly waitress named Pam.

We were impressed with the room and the wifi. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly very good. The only down side was the toilet in the room was slow to flush and acted semi-backed up. We will stay here again and just as for a different room.

Tucked away between two discount hotels is the Best Western, This place is clean, well run, and the staff treats you like you are family! It's a kid friendly hotel, with soft ,yet firm, beds and wonderful showers! Don't forget to treat your self to the complementary breakfast run by an awesome lady and if your in laws irritated you a little too much, go for a run in the fitness center! Just perfect! You play a little more but it is absolutely worth it

We do a fair amount of traveling by car, so some of our stays are 1-night stays and some are destination stays. Though I've never been displeased by a BW property, the Best Western Plus locations are a nice upgrade and worth the little bit extra that they might cost. They also value their Rewards Club members and make you feel appreciated at check-in and check-out. This location was clean, quiet, and conveniently located to many restaurants in the Pensacola area. We booked it again on our return trip and will plan to be back again! BTW - I always prefer locations like this one where the AC thermostat is on the wall rather than built into the unit itself. The room stays/stayed so much more comfortable!

Pros: convenient location & reasonable prices. Clean and no weird room odors for most part. Everything worked. Beds comfy. Cons: Maid service very spotty, they skipped 2 of 5 days and we had to ask for towels and to have trash emptied. When they did clean, they did a great job.The free breakfast not so great, especially the eggs, sausage, gravy, etc. Sausage and eggs very rubbery. And baked breads were hard as rocks. The fresh fruit, cereals and coffee were fine. We skipped their breakfast after first try. The front desk service was OK, not super engaged, but they did their jobs and there were no problems. I did check for bedbugs upon arrival, like I do in every hotel and saw none, but something definitely was biting on me in the bed and I hope to god I didn't bring anything home with me. I made sure to wash all my clothes before I left and didn't put my suitcase near the bed. It's great that they have a little laundry room. The only other negative was they were doing some painting inside during our visit that had very strong fumes that filled the lobby and lower and upper hallways. A little of the fumes filtered into the rooms also. When stayed at same facility 3 yrs ago, everything was better and I'd have given it a very good overall.

This hotel is fine for a quick , travel nights sleep. The room was fine, no internet, front desk was not helpful about it. The breakfast was fine , not many healthy food choices. Not my typical Best Western experience.

This Motel we use for stopping point going to Texas and coming from Texas to Florida. It is always been neat and clean the food for breakfast is very good and it's centrally located in the event you want to stay and Pensacola and go to the air museum or to the beach. Is also right on the freeway and it's an easy on easy off and there are several good restaurants close by. There's also a grocery store in the event you need one

I have no idea why this Best Western "Plus" has such great reviews. The hotel has had a shoddy face lift at best. Most of the updates look as if they're still in progress. Also, the sheets on the beds are stained (we tried 2 different rooms and both had this issue). The Hampton Inn in the same area is much, MUCH nicer.

We just spent one night here. The room was large and clean with a loveseat to enjoy reading. The A/C was noisy and the bed was bouncy but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and makes the hotel a real value.

Staff very friendly always greeted with a smile and they took time to chat to all our party. Clean and tidy even though it was being decorated when we stayed. We stayed for 2 weeks and Would definitely visit here again.

We were just passing through and stayed here because we wanted to visit the Navy Museum the next day. The hotel is clean and comfortable, Breakfast was very good, WiFi was fast. Overall a good place to stay.

Best hotel we've ever stayed in. The room was really pretty and clean. The staff was very nice. We were close to the Naval Air Museum and were able to see the Blue Angels practice for their homecoming show. Thank you Best Western/Blue Angel Inn, you made our stay very comfortable.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days and we were blown away! Their housekeepers are amazing at their job. The continental breakfast is on point! They are reasonably close to the beach and there are so many things to do around the hotel its self. I will stay at this great place again in the future.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast had a variety of choices. the only issues we encountered is that it can be difficult to get back out to I-10 due to traffic on the main road.

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis, sometimes as much as four nights a week. I feel comfortable every time I stay. The staff treats me well. Ensuring that my needs are meet , as well as they can accomplish prior to me heading to my room. The rooms are always clean and well cared . I can depend on a comfortable nights sleep. I fell safe anytime I go outside. Even walking or running late at night or very early in the mornings.

As a solo 68 year female traveler I am always checking reviews on hotels before making my choice. This hotel had mixed reviews but I found most to be positive. The clerk at the desk was friendly and helpful. She told me the rooms had all been recently updated. I found the room impressively clean with no smells. The air conditioner worked great and pillows were comfy. The cons: The mattress was lumpy and should be replaced. I don't have back problems so it worked for me for one night. The bathroom towels were thin, in fact the washcloth I chose for the shower had holes. I couldn't get the coffee pot to work. The breakfast was a disappointment for me. I am a low carb eater and the eggs were gross and sausage was so so. There seemed to be plenty of rolls , biscuits, cereals for a different type of breakfast. I have stayed in numerous Best Western Plus all over the states and this one has some work to do. But for $80 I can't complain too loud!!

We stayed for only one night in our way to Orlando, but I wished we could stay longer, as I really liked the hotel. Very good location, just outside de interstate (but queit). Check in was fast and welcoming. Room was spacious, facing the pool and with pleasant decoration. Everything was clean and proper. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was well balanced and with good quality items. Wifi was fast and working ok. We wento to a nice beach located 45 kms of the hotel. We also were in Pensacola Seafood Festival and it was a good experiencie too. I recommend this place for a good rest in a clean and modern hotel.

The check in was friendly and the premises very clean. The room smelled clean without being overly perfumed. Breakfast was the standard Best Western fare including some fresh fruit. For the price, $79 plus taxes and fees per night, it was a five star stop.

Hotel was jammed during Irma but everyone was very pleasant and accommodating during this very stressful time. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was quiet and the housekeeping staff was great!!

Only stayed one night but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and easy, we were the only ones there in the morning and all of the food was fresh. The workout room was very small and the eliptical trainer is broken. Other than that, it is ok if you just want a treadmill and bring your own exercise bands. There was more than enough parking and seemed to be in a safe enough area. There are no restaurants really to walk to because of the highway but more than met our needs.

Everything was very nice. The staff was amazing and helpful. I some how managed to book a family of four in a king sized bed. I was able to change it no problem.The room was very modern and clean. They had a tasty breakfast selection as well. We will definitely be back!

Property is a bit dated but overall, stay was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable. Free breakfast a definite plus in that we were traveling with children. Both check-in and check-out seamless and quick. I would recommend this property to others particularly large families. There were 6 of us and this property had accommodations that would allow us all to stay in the same room.

Dirty and lacking amenities such as wash cloth. Sink half full of YUCK that looked as if a Vacuum bag had been emptied and then .tried to wash it down the sink. Won't be stopping at this one again. Pictures were taken by the person on duty that evening, moved to a different room and did not have wash cloth in it.

Do not book this place over the free breakfast. It was packed downstairs . Took us 20 min to get through the buffet line. The pancake machine needed a new bag and there was only one employee manning that entire area (refilling milk, cleaning spills, making eggs, ect). It was too much for her. They told us to go eat in the main lobby. My kids were standing up eating breakfast. The room itself was clean, but smelled like wet carpet. The ice had specks of black stuff in them. I told my concerns to Kim at checkout. She said "for what it's worth now, sorry". She was very sarcastic about it. I also witnessed her be sarcastic and rude to the people before us checking out. There are some things that could be improved, but based on the lack of staffing and staff attitude, I would not stay here again or have my family stay here.

Best Western always seems to please. There are many hotels in this area and some of the other hotel chains have proven to be of less than their normal quality. I was very pleased with the Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn, Pensacola. I have been not so pleased with other normally dependable hotels in this area.

This is our 3rd stay at this BW property. My son is attending flight school at NAS Pensacola and we were up for the graduation. Great central location to everything, beaches 35 min, base 25 min, shopping 10 min. (Wal Mart). Recommend whether staying or passing through. They have two large suites 1 double king and 1 double queen. Great for family or if you just like extra room.

Very Comfortable Stay! All went very well. The staff seemed to really care about the guest and were pleasant in all they're dealings. They had great recommendations for places to eat in the area. No noise from the interstate and great location for getting to attractions.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Recently renovated with clean rooms. Room and bathroom were very comfortable. Room comes with mini fridge/freezer and microwave. Short drive to nearby mall and historic downtown. Breakfast is included but we did not try it as the hours were 6am-9am which is a bit early for us. Overall would stay here again.

The reception desk staff could use a refresher course on friendliness. Staff slow on cleaning up debris outside main entrance. Hotel features the fitness center as an attraction yet none of the machines worked correctly. Management could take some lessons from the BW St. Augustine.

We checked in and there was MOLD in the bathroom on the ceiling. We had to spend the night in that room because of availability. One of my children was sick from that incident.They lied about our refund amount. One employee said one thing, the other said another. They only gave us $40 back from the inconvenience when we were promised more. The manager never contacted us to even offer a simple apology. That SAME room was rented/occupied within hours of our transfer. The breakfast is minimal. They had grits that you had to make yourself from Wal-Mart. Other than that, they were OKAY.

Every time we go to Pensacola we stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the location is convenient for our needs, the breakfast is good, and we've never had any problems there. We will continue to stay at this hotel in the future.

we stayed at best western one night while attending a funeral the hotel was very nice could not connect to internet on apple devices but that ws ok as we had drove 12 hours and just wanted to sleep would stay here again if in the area breakfast area needs to be a little bit bigger during the crowded times

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and it was clean. It was a bit of a drive to the beach, but not too bad. My only complaint is that the bed was too firm for me. I had back aches in the mornings. Other than that, I would certainly recommend this to others. Lots of people prefer a firm mattress.

We stayed here for a quick overnight family getaway. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly, especially the lady that was in charge of the complementary breakfast. There wasn't a lot of extra noise and everything was super. Definitely will book again.

When you think of Pensacola you think of the Gulf of Mexico waters, swimming sailing and sunning There is more to it than that . They have an Air museum Right down the road from our hotel the Blue Angels Hotel a Best Western hotel of great quality with a friendly and helpful staff . All staff from housekeeper and breakfast staff to desk clerk were all willing to do for you no matter the need . The location was good so many restaurants and gas stations as well as a pretty easy shot to the beach.

We stayed here on vacation. The staff and service was very welcoming. The desk clerks were all very nice and talked to us not at us! They were all very helpful. The lady serving breakfast was extremely nice and made sure everyone had what they wanted and made sure the food was restocked constantly. The pool area was very clean and the kids loved it (as if they hadn't had enough swimming spending every day all day at the beach) !

My family and I stayed here last week for our vacation for 5 nights. I booked through TripAdvisor and had looked at pictures and reviews. It was highly recommended. The hotel lobby looked clean, but a lot smaller than the pictures made it look. I had wondered why there where not more pictures of the pool and I figured out why. There was not a whole lot to show. Patty, who checked us in, was very friendly and quick. We unloaded and went to our room. Upon walking in, there was a funky smell coming from the area around the fridge, but I could never pin point exactly where it was coming from. Throughout the week, it came and went. The room was a standard room. Nothing special about it. It did appear clean which was a plus. The temperature in the room was hard to get right. We had to keep it around 65-67 degrees on high or it got really muggy and gross feeling in the room. I chose to be cold instead of feeling gross. The first day we went to the beach (Monday)we left around 9AM and got back around 3PM. We came back to a clean room. This was the ONLY day of our stay that this would happen. The next day (Tuesday) our room was not serviced and I had to go get clean towels from the front desk. On Wednesday we were in the room later than normal (10-1030AM) so we didn't expect the beds to be made when she came inside. She grabbed our dirty towels from the previous day and give us clean ones. On Thursday we left around 9AM and got back to a room that was not serviced yet again. This time we were back later than normal around 345-4PM. I was fed up at this point and had the door open about to throw our dirty towels out into the hall and go to the front desk to get more. My husband convinced me to not throw the towels in the hall because he was afraid we would be charged some sort of fee. I agreed, so I closed the door. About 20 seconds after I closed the door, a knock. I don't know if our conversation was heard or what. So we did the exchange of dirty towels for clean ones and full trash bags for empty ones again. For me, when I'm on vacation, it's a perk to come back to a clean room everyday. I was highly disappointed in that aspect. The ice machine on our floor only worked for one day as well. My husband went downstairs to get ice and was rudely told to go to the third floor to get it. We thought it was fixed the next day because there was no sign on the machine. He got ice and it was dirty. So, back to the third floor. Later that day and the remainder of the trip there was a sign on the machine. The one good thing that was constant was Liz. She is the wonderfully sweet, hard working and attentive breakfast lady. SO friendly and greeting us with a smile every morning and told us to have a great day and to come back. She kept everything stocked and clean. The free breakfast was always yummy with a variety every morning. It definitely was not the best hotel stay. I'm not saying that I wouldn't stay here again, but I'm probably going to look for a different place next year.

My husband and I went to the Air Museum in Pensacola, FL. This Best Western is fairly convenient to the Museum and just off I-10. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice. Should we go back to Pensacola we will stay in this hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

I recently made a trip to Pensacola to have a getaway trip with my 14 year old daughter. Our room was clean and comfortable. Patty was a great help at check in and greeted us with a smile. She offered maps and any other help we needed. This place is far enough from the busyness of the beach but not too far a drive. Breakfast was good, better than many other places we have stayed. The pool area was nice and clean. We decided on our drive home that we will have to make the trip again and will definitely stay there again.

Room was roomy with comfy bed, small sleep sofa, refrigerator and microwave & more normal stuff. Breakfast was good - I liked the instant pancake machine. Friendly workers made it a pleasant visit,

Quick overnight trip from NO, only 3 hours away. Stayed overnight for beach. Hotel is clean, quiet and right off interstate. Beds were nice. Family friendly. Decent breakfast and 20 minutes to Santa Rosa Island. Recommended.

The Blue Angel Best Western hotel in Pensacola was the perfect place for our quick stop in town. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful even providing us with dinner choices close to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Angel Best Western.

I selected this place quite randomly and was very happy with the result. Clean, efficient and effectively staffed. Just far enough from the interstate road to be quiet and close enough to enable trips conveniently. Breakfast, included was fairly adequate and set one up for an early start, should that be you intention. Everything was okay.

Clean comfortable room and good service. The hotel is well situated and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and linen clean. I was impressed by the size of the room and the bathroom - but then, perhaps this was because we had a 'handicapped' room for some reason. The desk staff was very pleasant and we felt welcomed. When travelling on road trips and arriving tired and hot at the hotels, the welcome is, perhaps, the key to a pleasant stay. We certainly got that welcome here.

We were in town for a funeral. From the moment we arrived the front desk clerk was extremely accommodating. She let us check out some rooms and pick the one we wanted. She was very friendly. We enjoyed conversations with her. The next morning we had the breakfast. It was packed. There was one lady trying to keep all the food refilled and everything clean. She did an exceptional job at this. And she did it with a smile. What a great experience it was.

this is probably the 10th or 12th time we have stayed at this best western. our trip to and from texas on the way to florida always includes this rest over stop. the rooms are always clean and well prepared. the cont. breakfast is the best anywhere.

The rooms are newly redecorated and the bed comfortable. Everyone very helpful. Breakfast area small and crowded. Breakfast selection was basic, with fewer options than other Best Western Inns. Food available was well prepared.

I found a complete relaxing vacation from my busy schedule here with my two children. The kids enjoyed their shows and the pool and we had everything we needed. Staff is sincere and genuine. Love it here!

We stayed two nights here, about half an hour away from the beautiful beach -- mind you traffic and really become very dense. We were fortunate to stay in a gigantic room with comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet, except when you have people staying above you who like to stumble around. Breakfast is a good start of the day, both mornings we ate near the swimming pool for more space. We gladly used the washing machine and dryer. We had a fine stay here.

This is an excellent location, close to I-10 & I-110 allowing persons to go to the beach, Shop, Visit Downtown Or travel to many places in Pensacola. We stayed at this location because of proximity to relatives as well as the area of Pensacola, & Mobile Alabama

The room was clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The bedding was nice and the mattress was excellent. It was minutes off of I10 and about twenty minutes to Pensacola Beach. We were given a map to the beach and enjoyed the view for a while before dinner in pensacola. Breakfast was the usual for BW but it was fresh and neatly arranged. The attendant was pleasant and helpful as was the front desk especially when we checked in.

I was working on getting information together for blocks of rooms for my March 2018 wedding. This hotel had good reviews and is relatively new and very convenient for my side of the family to stay, as it is close to the area where my parents live. Unfortunately I called almost daily for 3 weeks. I was continually told the sales manager was on vacation, and then out with the flu. Nobody would help me. Fine. I can wait. I was told to call back daily to see if she was there. So I did that. On the first day I called my information was taken and I was told to call back on a certain day (it was like I called on Thursday or Friday and they told me to call back Monday if I hadn't heard anything). When I called as instructed I was continually told she was still out. The front desk staff never assisted me in any way. They seemed put out that I kept calling, as suggested by THEM. I eventually called corporate. They were also unable to help, as the requests for that service must go through the individual property. The guy offered to send a request, but after the experience I had already had it seemed pointless. Also, would my guests receive the same terrible customer service if we did book with them? So to save others the effort of going through this with no results I posted a review on facebook. The sales manager, Melissa, eventually commented and insinuated that I never called. She said that her staff "always" writes down messages for her and puts them "on the board" and that she "certainly would have" returned my call if I had sent her a voicemail or email. While it is true that I never left her a voicemail on her VM box, nor did I send an email, it is important to point out that in the 12 plus calls I made I was NEVER GIVEN THAT OPTION! Nobody ever offered to transfer me to her voicemail box and NEVER gave me an email address to contact her. Seriously, if a business has deficits no big deal. I am sure the turnover is probably high in a hotel front desk staff. Instead of insinuating that the staff can do no wrong and insulting customers by indicating that the review is not truthful the business could take responsibility for the issues and do whatever they can to correct it. Melissa has not reached out to me via FB (she has my information, as I posted the review using my account and she could EASILY click on my name and send a message should she choose) and has done nothing to try to resolve the issues or even sincerely apologize for the oversight. So for a few nights stay, where you book on their site or a travel site you may have a good experience. But group sales should be avoided at this location at all costs. There's a multitude of other options within a 1/2 mile of this place. And I was able to easily book with a competitor with zero hassle.

My husband and I stay 3 days and the room was nice and big with refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was great the best we had while traveling the Panhandle of Florida. Close to Walmart & Publix if you need anything. Close to two restaurants: Wayne's Diner and Ruby Tuesdays. Not far to the Naval Air Museum. To leave the hotel you need to cross a couple of lanes of traffic and the on and off ramps forInterstate 10, it is a little busy. Also construction at the end of the road with barrels. We would stay there again.

This is a very clean, well appointed hotel. Nice breakfast with a kitchen staff member who was super helpful. We didn't use the pool or fitness centre but they looked clean and well appointed as well. A good sleep was had. Recommended.

This is a great hotel for your business or leisure stay in the Pensacola Bay area. It is located right off of Interstate 10 which has easy on and exit ramps. The rooms are decorated with a calming seaside motif. You are sure to enjoy the full free breakfast , internet room and their swimming pool. The staff will cater to your every need. They are also very informative of the many activities at Pensacola Beach. The beach has white sands and pristine blue waters. Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn is my hotel of choice for the past four years. My family and I have never been disappointed and I can safely say that you won't be either. - Will H.

I stayed for a quick get away. My room was booked late so prices went up slightly.....The rooms were nice but smelled a little musty. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was decent with sausage, eggs, biscuits, muffins, pancakes, juice, coffee etc...

The motel is an excellent facility, the staff is very efficient, very helpful & very pleasant. My only complaint with this facility is the difficulty making a left turn onto the main highway from the motel, quite difficult especially 4-6pm.

We were greeted very nicely. All was in order and check-in was a snap. The room was clean and all amenities were there. We were there for our grandson's 6th birthday. He wanted to stay with us. I went to the front desk and was given the bedding for the pull out couch. At breakfast, the first morning, we mentioned, to the woman running the buffet, that we were there for the birthday of our grandson. The next morning she handed our grandson a present. That is well over and above anything we have seen before. Our best and another big thank you to Autumn. She is fantastic. She really made our stay a great one.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. It is always clean and the employees are always kind and helpful. Breakfast is your generic free breakfast. Nothing to write home about. Hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the beach and close to lots of restaurants.

We stayed here for three nights and were totally satisfied. The property was clean and well-kept, the staff were friendly and always willing to help, and the location was easy on & off of the interstate. Being just off of the interstate made for easy commuting between attractions and points of interest in Pensacola and the outskirts. There are plenty of restaurants near-by as well as shopping and things to do. I can recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay. If I'm in the area again, I will check here first for lodging. I was impressed with this property that much.

I stayed here on my Easter Break, staff was friendly and room was clean. I checked in late Friday nite and was able to get the room i needed. Breakfast was good alot of good choices of food and fruit to choose from. This picture looks like my room!!

We checked into the hotel after driving for 12 hours in rain. The room had a strange smell, but we were tired and went right to bed. Image our surprise when we received our credit card bill with the room charge, plus an additional $250 charge. When I called to see what this was about, we were told that we smoked in the room. HOWEVER, WE BOTH ARE NON-SMOKERS! Didn't matter - that is their policy. Asked if we could send letters from our doctor or pastor attesting that we DO NOT SMOKE, were told that is there policy. Our mistake was accepting the room in the first place. Because it is not FRAUD, the credit card company will not support the cardholder either. This makes me livid because the charge is made in your absence when you have no defense. Obviously the truth is no defense either. I would stay away from this property......

We stayed at Best Western Plus Blue Angel reported 4 bed bugs. 4 hours later still have not been contacted by management. I caught one in a cup and took to front desk. Still nothing. Was told they could not refund stay due to booking from 3rd party!

Last year, I stayed at this Inn for several days and the rate was about $80.00/day. This time, it was about $130.00. When I asked why, I was told it was spring break (I doubt that. Spring break is in March, not April) and this is their peak season. (i doubt that ,too.) Some people may call this capitalism. I call it greed and is one way to turn away loyal customers.

Would definitely stay here again. rooms are clean, free breakfast is good staff is helpful and energetic. Close enough to the base, shopping and beaches . would definitely go see the Naval museum it is free and you may need 2 days.

Spring Break hotels in that area was not good, How do I know because we reserved a room at another hotel the night before that was horrible. I immediately called booking.com and made arrangements at the this hotel. Hotel staff called me to confirm and they were extremely friendly. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, breakfast was amazing. Pool area and basketball court was nice. Everything was wonderful. I will be staying here again and I have told all my friends how wonderful this hotel was.

It's hard to find a great value hotel in Pensacola. I've been traveling here for business for the past 12 years, at least 4 times per year and finally discovered this wonderful spot a few years back where the staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms extremely clean and cozy, with an excellent hot breakfast, reliable free internet and a mini refrigerator. The bed is perfect! I don't consider staying anywhere else in Pensacola since I finally found BW Blue Angel.

We were somewhat leery despite the many good reviews but we were not disappointed. The staff could not have been more helpful in directing us to around the area. Breakfast was acceptable. The work out room was clean and machines and TV worked as they should.

If you are visiting Pensacola in Florida, a non expensive solution will be this Best Western hotel. They offer very friendly service, good breakfast at an impeccable dinning area. The rooms have some of the best mattresses we had on a three week family trip through the South of the U.S. even when compared with more classy hotels. Molly, the lady who attend us late at the arrival night was helpful and kind in order to fulfill our requests. I can recommend this BW hotel with no problem.

The reservation was secured through our sports team. I have to admit I was not thrilled with the prospect of staying at a Best Western, but did this hotel smash any preconceived ideas I had about the hotel chain. This hotel exceeded every expectation in every single area. The hotel was nice, rooms are comfortable and VERY clean. I did not have one single complaint. In fact, this hotel exceeds other larger luxury and semi-luxury hotel brands. This hotel is right off the highway so there are no restaurants in walking distance. But despite the location it is quiet in the rooms. The staff is extremely pleasant and willing to please. I get a sense that behind closed doors they are not quite as nice as they appear, but that's just my perception. Breakfast was decent. It was your average free breakfast buffet items, but the area was very clean, food always replenished and the staff was super helpful.

We have stayed here before a couple years ago and it was wonderful. This time it was even better. The rooms are all new and the bed was great. Very clean. The breakfast was really good and Liz the breakfast lady very helpful. The manager Melissa checked us in and she was very helpful with things to eat and do while visiting. We stayed at this BW once before just after the renovation and enjoyed it. Hence, we returned again. The rooms are basic hotel room, but are both clean and comfortable. We stayed in a King-Sized bed that was comfortable to sleep in. There is a sitting area and a large screen tv, complimentary WiFi internet access that actually worked. The maid service was consistent during our three day stay, which was a plus. We didn't have to ask for anything. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable and visually appealing and maintained. There is a small gift shop in the lobby to buy soda, chips, candy bars, detergent and other miscellaneous needs. This hotel offers a free hot complimentary breakfast including pancakes, muffins, bagels, cold and hot cereals, coffee, tea, juices, sausage or bacon (depending on the day) sausage and gravy. Just enough to start you on your way. Breakfast is in the open dining room with about half a dozen tables. One day we ate, we were able to sit in the dining room. Next two days, Sat and Sun, place was packed and we had to eat in our room. Service was efficient. Liz was a pleasant and professional woman that looked after things and kept the food stocked. We were a bit disappointed that though there was a sign in our room to save water by using our towels over instead of getting new ones, new ones were always provided even though we didn't want/need them replaced everyday. So much for reducing water usage! Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Just wish the hotel was closer to town, but not an overall loss since we were able to drive.

We always stay at the Best Western Blue Angel Inn when we go to Pensacola. It is clean, pleasant, and a convenient location for our needs. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and will continue to do so.

Excellent hotel in most ways. Breakfast was satisfactory, but I would not consider it great. Did not go to Waffle House cause the breakfast was bad. The room was great and had a desk where I could keep up with my work if needed. The other two hotels on this trip did not have desk available. Did find a roach crawling up on my bed. Reported it and was suppose to have the bug guy out that day.

I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean and quiet the whole time I was there. If you have an Ipad, you may not be able to connect to the internet from your room. But the computer in the lobby works perfectly if you have to use the internet ASAP.

This is one of the very few hotels where the pictures on the site actually match what the hotel and the rooms look like. It was a little lower than average priced for the area, and very clean. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be happy to return.

This Best Western Hotel in Pensacola was a great Place to stay. We loved driving out to the Gulf and walked on the white beaches at sunset. There breakfast was good and the room was clean. Their check-in staff was very helpful.

Our family stayed at this hotel while in town for my son's soccer tournament. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were all friendly. The shower was spacious, the water pressure was plenty, and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC kept the room cool all night. Breakfast was delicious, and the woman who ran the kitchen, Liz, was top notch with customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and went out of her way to make sure everyone had what they needed.

Look no further for a great hotel. My room was newly redecorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was great. The price was right. I was looking for a decent hotel to stay overnight while retrieving my son from his Air Force technical training in Pensacola. The reviews for affordable hotels were atrocious. I realized that the Best Western Plus was out further from the base then others and the price was affordable.

We stayed here for the weekend and let me tell you it was amazing. The breakfast was great and so many choices. Very clean and friendly staff. Check in was easy and front desk was very helpful with restaurants and directions. The rooms are newly remodeled and beautiful. We will be back - you have to try it you won't be disappointed.

I enjoy my stay at Blue Angel Inn Best Western every time. I stay here 2 -3 times a week for business, as well as a couple times a year while on vacation. The staff always goes out of ther way to ensure my family and i are well taken care. The updating has made the stay even more like home and even more comfortable. I appreciate always being treating well every time.

The rate for this hotel won't stay where it is now. There's no way. I was traveling for business and just needed a place to sleep. I saw and low rate and thought, "I can put up with some things for that amount". Wow, was I wrong. When I arrived the staff was efficient and pleasant. I had my key in no time and went to my room. I always inspect my room no matter which hotel I stay in and this was no exception. It was perfect. Everything looked and smelled new. There was no dust above the pictures or doors. The linen on the bed was fresh and crisp, no evidence of anyone ever staying there. All the lamps worked as well as the TV. I was shocked. I couldn't believe my good fortune to have booked this room for that rate. I now have this hotel on my list of "I'd bring my family here" hotels. I highly recommend this property.

This is the cleanest, most professional helpful place I have ever stayed and I live here!! Melissa is such a pleasure to deal with and the hotel smelled amazing upon walking in the office. They have really good free hot breakfast, a pool, our room was pristine and nothing out of place. It doesn't smell like smoke (like some places do) but you can smoke outside of your a smoker. They have a pool and I slept amazing. This is the ONLY place I would stay. They have a fitness center and a business center. LOVE THIS PLACE!! 5 stars!!! Look nowhere else! Great for business or pleasure.

I regularly stay for business. The only place I'll stay in Pensacola. The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating out of any hotel I've stayed in. All of the rooms are newly renovated and all brand new comfortable pillow top mattresses make for one great nights stay. Excellent full breakfast served daily with not only the normal items but hot, real food and pancakes as well. Safe secure parking and clean pool area are a nice feature as well as a basketball court and gazebo area to enjoy in your down time. If you're in the Pensacola area, it is worth your while to stay here. Low rates, convenient access to interstate, tons of restaurants and just a short drive to the downtown and beach front areas. Definitely won't be disappointed!

This hotel is located right off of I-10. Easy access on and off the interstate. The hotel appears to be very new and well kept. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Both hot and cold breakfast options were available. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Even though the pool could have used a cleaning , I'll factor in the weather. The room was more than acceptable except the fact that I was given a handicap accessible room, but that gave a larger bathroom so I can't complain. Breakfast was better than I thought it would be, an enjoyed the selection available. The bed(s) were VERY comfortable and for someone with a mild back issue this was a relief. Relatively quiet and the staff was helpful. I would (will) stay here again.

Convenient to Hwy I-10 with food services close by. This hotel is where I always stay when in Pensacola. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Is a great place to stay. It is not too far to the beaches, shopping malls, the Naval Air Station, and a lot of other activities.

We were looking for a conveniently located, affordable hotel for a one-night stay. We were not going to the beach, went to the Pensacola Museum of Art, which I recommend in another review, so did not want to be onto east side of town. This hotel was just what we were looking for. The hotel is right off I-10 or you can us West Detroit to get to a major road leading to town, there is a gas station nearby, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly.

Our stay was wonderful.....front desk was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were clean, huge, and very cold....the way we like it! Easy access to I-10 was very helpful and would definitely stay here the next time we are in Pensacola.

Breakfast hours on the weekend were from 0600 - 0900. I did not check this prior to trying to eat, as every other hotel I have stayed at has offered the breakfast until at least 1000 or 1030 on the weekend. My family missed breakfast this past Sunday because we show up about 10 minutes after 9. I understand earlier hours during the week, but who gets up at 0600 to eat at a hotel on Sunday??

Nice hotel near to the naval museum and the beaches. Breakfast included with wide variety of foods. Accessible room had excellent rails for the shower and toilet. Need a shelf in the shower to place your soap and shampoo. Beds were good but mattress seemed too high for a wheelchair user to get into. Floors seemed sticky. Wild peahens in the parking lot were an added attraction. Local restaurants nearby offered several types of food choices.

This was a very nice place to stay. Location was good ,it was clean,with very nice and helpful staff This is the way all best westerns should be.The pool was clean and nice.If you stay here you won't regret it.The peacocks that evidently just showed up one day were a nice touch as well.

Excellent breakfast selection in an immaculately clean dining room. Bonus was a mention of gluten or dairy free options upon request. Room was clean and updated but the bed was not comfortable. Easy to locate with ample parking. Perhaps with a new mattress this could be a higher rated review.

We don't normally stay at Best Western hotels but since Pensacola was so busy with the tourist season we stayed here during our return to our home in central Florida. The staff were very helpful & pleasant, the room was large & very clean & the breakfast was plentiful.

I would have given this place an Excellent rating since the room had virtually everything new in it (including the paint job) but the commode is an old model that isn't very deep and flushes slowly, and the minibar/microwave area has no lighting. The staff were very accommodating although I wish they were issued classy uniforms. As this was a military trip I must say that I was not pleased with their requirement that they copy the front page of my orders nor with the fact that they charged me the maximum daily amount the government allotted me for this trip. Overall, though, it's a clean, good place to stay especially for military personnel. Some of the people in my training group reported some disappointing stories from the other lodging in town, so I'd definitely recommend this one.

I'll admit to being a Best Western fan. I've never been disappointed and this stay was no exception. We stayed on the third floor (an elevator is available to haul all your stuff) in a very clean room facing IH-10 which was less than 1/4 mile away. We never heard the traffic. Slept soundly both nights on a very comfortable bed. Getting in and out of the hotel was easy and most places we wanted to go were within a half-hour's drive. The hot breakfast items were indeed hot and fresh. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast.

this best western, located at exit 7 on I-10 is the best of the best westerns we have ever stayed at. we use no other hotel than this when traveling to or from florida from texas. it is always clean with full room amenities and a pool. the best part however is their breakfast. it is a full breakfast hot and ready at 6 a.m. nothing "just o k" about this one, everything about it hits the mark.

whenever we travel to florida from texas, this best western is the only hotel we ever consider staying at. it is always clean, the breakfast is the absolute best of any hotel we have ever stayed at and the location is perfect for us, exactly in the middle of a 1000 mile drive. located at exit 7b heading east on I-10 and exit 7 heading west.

The room was extremely comfortable and fulfilled all our needs for the night. Arrived too late to get up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. the bed was very comfortable and provided us with a great night's sleep in order to continue our road trip the following morning.

We just needed a hotel for one night until we could get into our condo the next day. We arrived late and were really tired. I had reserved a room with 1 bed and a sleeper sofa due to the fact that there were 4 of us. We checked in and proceded to our room. The key cards would not work so we dragged ourselves back down to the desk. Once we entered the room we were so disappointed to see there was only one bed and where the sofa should be was the tiniest chair! Sooooo..... once again, back down to the desk! They did move us to a room with 2 beds so that was good. The breakfast was very average. The one that was facinating was the pancake maker machine! Oh, and the peacocks that were hanging around! Our stay was ok as it was just for one night but we probably wouldn't stay there for an extended amount of time.

Stayed one night here on our way to Miami from D/FW area. We've already stayed here twice before, once in 2008 and second in 2010 (I have an old review here also). This time in June 2016, I can say that they've gone 1 star down compared to our first couple of visits here. The property looks to have been remodeled at some time. The room we stayed in had some minor issues with the closet door handle coming off as the screws that were supposed to keep it in place were loose. Another minor issue is that the main door would not firmly lock in place in that one could push and pull the door while it is locked and would still move. This did not make me feel quite secure. I booked this because of my positive experience during the two previous stays but in my opinion it is now a bit overpriced (even if it's a "Plus") compared to other newer hotels in the area. This hotel is still good but I might try the other ones nearby next time.

great accommodations - very clean, quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice escape. Stayed during the very busy 4th of July weekend, but you would have never known it, Hotel was fully booked, but still extremely quiet.

The hotel is much older. The staff is very nice but we ended up not staying here. When we arrived at our room, the door had been left open. The told us it might have been housekeeping. We went ahead and went in. The room was very small and we had requested a 2Q suite with sleep sofa. The sleeper sofa was barely large enough to fit a small child. It was maybe twin size (very short) and had no sheets or pillows provided. I requested a refund and they unwillingly agreed. We ended up changing hotels.

This Best Western Plus property is immediately off I-10, without the noise you might expect. It is an older property, and while I rate the experience itself, the staff, and maintenance excellent, it shows its' age. i

We visited for two days and got to see the blue angles at the base and went to the beach it was a beautiful two days, the room was excellent and our fridge did not work. Called front desk that morning and they replaced it with a few hours. The room was clean and awesome. The staff was helpful and Joseph went out of his way when we arrived to make sure we were all good. The breakfast was awesome too, we ate at the pool and seen the sunrise and also they had wild peahens at front door. Sat at the bench outside met allot of nice people and seen the sunset. Loved it all.

Hotel was was visually clean and smelled clean. Some wear and tear on the carpets in high traffic areas but our room exceeded our expectations. Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Pool area a little on the small side. Breakfast was on par with other hotels. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Not close enough to the beach but at more than half the price this is a very good hotel. Clean and neat, all the basics plus one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept on ever. The proximity to the freeway is good when you want to get on the road to the beach BUT be prepared for a really awkward and dangerous exit across a very busy thoroughfare without a much needed light.

Very nice, clean, and quiet comfortable hotel. Very modern and well maintained. Friendly staff, and priced as others in the local area. Very easy access to downtown Pensacola, or Interstate 10. All very close.

Nice place to stay, clean, nice accommodations,very nice employees and staff. Close to UWF about 9 miles. Safe area, no sidewalks or place to take a walk. The breakfast is decent and the location allows for easy access to I10.

Staff was very nice here--remodeling is not quite finished but the room was nice and fresh. Location is convenient to I 10 and easy to get to restaurants. Attractive pool. We were told about the work out room and checked it out. Would stay again. Breakfast was good--

We stopped early ... but only had to wait a few minutes for the room to be ready. The lobby was small but comfortable; staff exceptionally nice. Breakfast room was larger than normal and there was a small "market" near the front desk where they had small frozen entrees for sale ... in case you wanted a snack.

The hotel had a new feel to it and everything seemed very clean and in good working order. We did have an issue with the WIFI but it wasn't a big deal to us since we didn't spend much time in our room (mostly just to shower and sleep). The breakfast was very good and the juice wasn't watered down like a lot of places. The breakfast room itself is pretty small, though, so finding a place to sit during busy times could be a problem. I did see a few people take their breakfast outside to the pool area to eat which I thought was a good idea - especially on nice mornings. It was only about a 25 minute drive to Pensacola Beach.

The manager made a great recommendation for dinner which made our stay that much more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and quiet. After a long afternoon interviewing for a new position the hotel provided some much needed time to relax.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay although brief. The room was fresh, updated, spotless and very comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast experience. The area is unfortunately inadequate for the number of guests utilizing the amenity. The attendant could not keep up with the demand and there was not enough space for all the people standing in line in addition to the limited number of tables for seating. The breakfast items were typical pre-cooked options. instant oatmeal, pancake machine, adequate but nothing special.

Quiet clean and comfortable. Great staff. Good location. Appears recently made over. Big flat screen with HD channels. Good and reliable internet. Would stay again. Breakfast was good. Close to many good places to eat, but a car is required.

The staff were super friendly and rooms were super clean . For the money it was worth it . My family and I are planning another trip.....it's like a home away from home. The breakfast , the pool , to the beds were amazing .

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Blue Angel Inn but found the room booked to be more expensive than comparable hotels nearby for the same type of room (about $20-$30 more per night). This hotel would be a great value if the rooms were priced lower and similar to its nearby competitors but at its current pricing I will have to consider other hotels next I have to book a room in Pensacola.

Clean and spaceous rooms. Great service from the staff. Nice pool also available for disable persons. Located near I 10 and a short driving distanse to Pensacola center, shopping area and airport. Breakfast included. The breakfast area was suficcient but a bit small.

Traveling from North Florida on I-10 to Texas. Stopped at this location. Very convenient. Updated rooms, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. Other Best Westerns should take lessons from this place.

We are driving around the U.S for 6 months before a more permanent stay in Texas. We loved this hotel which whilst a reasonable distance from the beach the long drive was easy with the freeway system. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a bonus, a great way to get your day started and obviously it is a cost saver.

Hotel Room was Clean......Sheets seemed new and were nice........ Staff was very helpful and friendly......Pool looked nice, although we did not go in.....Price was very reasonable....around $100 with tax included... Good Value

Clean, pleasant, conveniently located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Bed was very comfortable. Booked several months in advance and got a great deal on Priceline. Good breakfast that was kept well-stocked by attendant.

We stayed here for three nights and it was pretty great for the price ($102 a night which we booked through price line compared to the other crazy priced hotels in the area. We were going to stay at the beach but didn't want to waste all our money on a hotel room so we decided to stay here, other hotels on the beach were 150 to 250 per night before taxes. It is right off 10 and only about a 20 or 30 minute drive to Pensacola Beach or an hour and a half to ft Walton or destin beaches area. Also has 2 Walmarts within a 10 to 15 minute drive, Cracker Barrel is right up the road too!) Our room was newly remodeled and did smell of paint or dry wall, but we got used to the smell. We weren't really in the hotel that much just to sleep and in the mornings for breakfast. The bed was great, firm but not too firm. The sheets were clean and soft. The bathroom door didn't lock but we didn't need it to really. The door is really close to the toilet when you open the door so it's a tight squeeze sometimes. The shower worked great, had good water pressure and hot water. Lots of shelves to put things in the shower and the shower rod is curved so you can hang towels and swim suits from it. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom on the back of the door. We stayed in a king room, it had a sofa that pulled out into a bed, we didn't use it though. The curtains were slightly short so the sun did peak through the bottom and let light through, we stayed on the back side by the pool so it may not be an issue on the front side. They do have a hot breakfast every morning which was great! Eggs, biscuits, gravy and they would alternate bacon and sausage each day. They also have cereal, pancakes, oatmeal and muffins/toast/bagels. They do have soy milk which was nice if you are lactose intolerant. The orange juice was working this visit. There are peacocks that lurk on the outside patio area and you can watch them while you eat breakfast, they were pretty cool to watch. Oh this hotel does have a laundry where you can put quarters in the machine to wash and dry clothes. They didn't have it anywhere on the websites before we booked this hotel but to our surprise when we got there we found they have laundry rooms on each floor. Wish they would have updated the site before we went because we didn't bring laundry soap, but they have it updated now. They have small work out rooms which are nice. They have a small pool outside and a patio and basketball goal in the back area. We stayed here Monday to Wednesday night and it wasn't busy and was pretty quiet, thought we would have to fight to get breakfast but there was plenty of empty tables. Staff was also very helpful! We were running really late and didn't get to the hotel until 12am but they had our room ready and our keys and paperwork ready to go. Overall, happy with the hotel, great stay for the great price! Would recommend staying here!

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Food was good. The location was perfect! Right next to I-10, for easy access on/off the highway. 15 minutes to airport, 20 minutes to the beaches, and 5 minutes to my conference site. Plenty of available restaurants, shops, and amenities in the surrounding area. I look forward to my next trip to the area and my stay in this hotel!

We thought that we were going to be closer to the Naval Aviation Museum than this turned out to be. However, the choice turned out to be excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient and the room was very clean. The public areas looked like there had been a recent renewal. The location to I-10 was perfect.

Was going to book a cheaper place in town but TA reviews led to this place and it was just as advertised. Clean, well cared for and a decent breakfast although they were "out" of orange juice for breakfast. No OJ for breakfast cost the place a higher rating but it was a good night.

Very nice price for a great room. Our room was very spacious with a king bed and couch. It was very clean!. cleaning staff did an excellent job. Breakfast was a little blandish but a nice variety and very nice staff person keeping up with demand. Easy to get too. I would stay here again. Oh Yea, Bed was like mine at home.. firm but not overly so.. slept very good!! Heater/air conditioner was very quiet and worked perfect ( this must be a newer hotel.

We go to Pensacola every year(when we can)and continue to go back to the Blue Angel Best Western. Patty at the front registration desk is always going the extra mile to make sure folks are satisfied. The cleaning staff on the second floor have always taken the best care of us and made sure our linens were fresh and we had plenty of shampoo and soaps! ...and the breakfast!!! These folks do a terrific job of providing something for every taste! Don't hesitate to stay there! It is great!

This is a great hotel to stay at. It has many nice features and a friendly staff. It's a good location to many eating places too. Our room was newly painted and decorated. It was very quiet and clean. There is a free breakfast if you like to get something fast.

I typically trust TripAdvisor, and in this case it didn't let me down, but I'm not so sure it should be ranked as high as it is. Overall my stay was fine, but the property was a little dated, and the breakfast so rather institutional. I had a problem with the A/C, which I fixed myself. The plug was not all the way in, which is a good sign in my opinion, it tells me that housekeeping is actually vacuuming and knocked it loose. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain, which proved to be a problem while shaving, I did not report this issue. There was also a big booger stuck on one of the shower tiles, which is disgusting on housekeeping's part and the nasty individual who put it there. I will say that the staff was extremely nice, very refreshing on that aspect. I would probably choose another property if I was in the area again, but this place was right off the interstate, no issues finding it.

Accommodations were great! The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. We requested a room on the top floor and our request was honored. Location right next to Interstate is very convenient. Will definitely return!

The location of the hotel was ideal for what we wanted to do while we were staying in Pensacola. It was close to the interstate when we were ready to leave. Breakfast was wonderful really enjoyed the pancakes.

Was in the area on a business trip and wanted to stay closer to my destination the next morning so I used my rewards points to book a room for the night. Pretty decent place. The rooms are clean, but my only complaint is the hardness of the mattress. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again just for the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.

As always this is our favorite place to stay when passing through or stay in Pensacola. It has always been clean and tidy. Love the renovations. Breakfast wasn't as good as the past, but the pancakes were good.

It has been a couple of years since I've last stayed for my 3rd time and it didn't disappoint. It's still a great stay at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and its in a great location off the interstate. The breakfast was ok....they just need to keep the warm food a little bit warmer. Whatever the management is doing keep doing.

Loved our stay at this Best Western Plus. The hotel desk clerk was very friendly and informative with all amenities shared with us. The room was beautiful with fresh new paint and décor. Room was spacious. Breakfast was very nice and offered pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, etc. Close to very nice restaurants and right off Interstate 10.

Good large rooms with lots of space. Clean but the bin was not emptied this morning. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good varied even fresh pancakes from a nifty machine. The pool was cool .

Really like room décor. Everything very clean. Location hard to find after taking Interstate exit. Needs a sign at eye level at junctions of exit, main road and access road. Breakfast somewhat better (more variety) than other hotels chains but need to improve on the eggs and the sausage gravy is terrible. But I found this was typical for all Best Western Hotel breakfast. Breakfast dining area too small for BW hotel of this size.

We needed a clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting with our son who is stationed at Cory. This turned out to be perfect. It was clean and that is very important to me and the beds were comfortable.

We stayed here one night and it was very comfortable. The room looked like it had just been redone and was very fresh and clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Had never seen round bacon before!

This hotel is just off the Interstate 10. Clean with wide corridors. Decor is a little dated but can't complain for the last minute price we got from the Trip Advisor. If you're lucky you can see the Blue Angels practice. Make time to take a trip to the beach. The sand is white, clean, and super fine.

The only thing was the the scrambled eggs were over stirred but the room was clean and everyone was very hospitable! The area is good and it has a outside pool! Inside pool are yuck i.e.! Breakfast was a great contental with fresh fruit!

The Hotel was very clean and updated. It was close to the interstate which is a plus. The hotel was also close to some food places. The breakfast was very good with a big variety of options, coffee was very good too!! The hotel was very quiet and very peaceful for sleeping at night. The pillows were very comfortable but the bed was a little firm but nothing to really complain about. Overall I would say this hotel is great and we will be staying there again when we are in town.

We stayed here a year ago on vacation so when I had to come for work it was obvious where I was staying. The hotel is clean and I love the newly remodeled rooms. The staff is always great and very helpful. The breakfast is huge and so many items there is something for everyone . Love the yogurt and oatmeal bar! The manager Melissa is great she is very friendly and helped our company with great rates while we stayed to work!! I would say everyone needs to stay here it's the best.

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. We have heard of some problems here, but we have NEVER had any issues. We stay here while traveling every year. We usually do not get here until going on midnight. Staff is always very friendly, especially to my boys. :) The remodel looks great! My boys love the Blue Angels mural painted on the wall. We recommend this hotel to all of our friends that travel through Pensacola.

We needed a room for an overnight stay in Pensacola, Fl. I found this location on-line and decided to try it. Overall, I'm glad I did. The staff was very friendly. We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm and discovered the window leaked in the original room I had booked. The staff did not hesitate to move us to another comparable room. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. My only complaint is I think they should invest in a better quality mattress. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I'll book a room again when visiting.

My stay at this hotel was surprisingly positive. Although we experienced some minor maintenance problems, we were given the option of moving to another room. The entire hotel has recently undergone a make-over, with a few details remaining (like hall carpet replacement). Having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee brewer in the room was handy, along with their 24-hour coffee service in the breakfast area. The room was comfortable and attractive; the toiletries were top-notch; and the complimentary breakfast offered a tasty variety of hot and cold items. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool (unheated) which we did not use on this trip because of the low outdoor temperatures of early spring. The hotel is near the Naval Air Station and Museum and within easy driving distance from the beach. All in all, it was an enjoyable three-night stay, and I would eagerly recommend this hotel to my cost-conscious friends.

Door handle was broken and the smoke alarm kept going off. Batteries were changed on the first night but that did not correct the problem. We were not offer to be moved and nothing else was done. Staff was rude and defensive when told about the problems, instead of being helpful and sympathetic.

Rented 3 rooms - 3 errors. Room 1- ants Room 2-overcharged, I had to call best western rewards to intervene and honor quoted price. Room 3-handicap accessible was actually a bathtub with a handle. The person who needed this room could not take a shower. Summary - mgr was not on site at checkin, so I requested they call to discuss issues. I waited 1 week to write this review and no calls yet.Don't waste your money.

My stay at Best Western was really a treat. The room was clean and had a pleasant order. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. The internet was working fine. called for food and the rest is history. (Smile) The soap was a delight. It was pleasantly scented and a joy to the body. My stay was wonderful!!!!!

Perfect place to stop off the highway to get some rest. Affordable, comfortable, clean and updated decor. More than you would expect for an "interstate hotel". Free breakfast, parking, a swimming pool, and easy on - easy off the interstate exit across the street. I would recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally clean bathroom and room. Well appointed with all amenities. Slept like a baby in the comfortable and clean King bed. Breakfast was great. Just the stay we had hoped for - a restful break from 10 hours of driving. Convenient location - just off I- 10. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice, quiet and clean hotel at a good price. Not any food options within walking distance but will do for an overnight stay. 20 minutes from the National Naval Aviation Museum...a must visit while you are in town!

The hotel was only a short drive away from UWF and many local restaurants. The staff was very pleasant, and the hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable and roomy, and breakfast included a wide variety of choices. The only negative was that the room smelled of paint, since the hotel was in the middle of being remodeled.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only significant complaint was that the fitness center did not open until 7am. Most hotels open them at 5 or 6am; many even have them open 24x7 with room key access.

So obvious the hotel was under going renovations as we were greeted by a pile of wood pallets near the lobby front door and some areas were blocked off as construction zones. No matter as the renovation is VERY WELL done. Really great decor that includes those touches you want to make traveling easier such as 3 large spots to place and open luggage in the room. We did have an "issue moment" when we tried to turn on the air and found that the manual controls had been removed, but it turned out that the high tech digital component on the wall was the new 'brain'. Appreciated as well that our room was near the elevator and that we had a view of our car & trailer in the parking lot out back. That said, the front parking lot is AWFUL - very tight with huge culverts. Again it caused an "issues moment" until we learned there was parking in back - signage would have been nice. Also would have been nice to have a nearby restaurant to walk to, but we were reduced to take-out for dinner. But the breakfast the next morning was one of the largest I have seen at a BW and again well done - good quality and variety.

This Best Western was highly recommended by others that had stayed there. The staff was always helpful and smiling. The location was very convenient, not only to where we were going but to a Walmart, Walgreens and Publix. We highly recommend it and plan to come here again next year.

This hotel was undertaking renovations, when we came through Pensacola. I checked at front desk to make sure they were open.Materials were piled up near driveway/entrance upon arrival, with a big drywall screw in driveway waiting to puncture someone's tires.Young woman was not real friendly at first, but warmed up to us as we continued dealing with her. Room was nice, but bathroom fixtures were in need of a reno as well. Breakfast area was clean, food was good. Wasn't warm enough to go in pool.

Very clean, accommodating, all the amenities one expects in a mid-price Best Western. They are, however, in the middle of a renovation. It would be very helpful, therefore, to alert the customer *in advance* of booking, with all caveats, good and bad. Our room reeked of fresh paint and there were no other rooms available. Not good. Also, not a deal breaker but worth mentioning: the scrambled egg *discs* at breakfast were inedible, and we are not foodies. We've had better buffets at other comparably-priced hotels. A nice touch: coffee/tea available in the lobby. All in all, a mixed bag.

We stay here every time we come to Pensacola to work. They have renovated there rooms and they look great! The breakfast was really fresh and good. The staff is very helpful and make you feel at home. The manager Melissa always gives us a great rate because we stay so often. I would suggest this hotel to everyone it is the best hotel in Pensacola and can't beat the price and service!!

Very nice accommodations and staff, awoken at 3 am by a drunk passed out in the hall and his buddy trying to get him to go someplace other than the hall. But that happens every now and again. Right? Breakfast was OK. Have a gimmick in the pancake maker. Fun. But the eggs were bad at best and inedible by any standard. Room was comfy, well appointed with frig and microwave that worked correctly.

Location is easy on/off I-10, diversity in food choices and delivery. There is a outdoor pool, basketball, and small picnic area in the back. Hotel staff was very friendly - I would stay again. The hotel is in the process of upgrading all rooms, including furniture. The bed was too firm for me. Overall the room was nice and clean.

The hotel is very clean, easy to get to, breakfast was very nice-very good selection of items-they have a pancake maker which rated #1 with my grandson. Staff very pleasant. Beds comfortable, spacious rooms. Would not recommend staying in room opposite the fitness center, the sound comes through the wall if someone is running on treadmill.

Grab bar in handicap bathroom was incorrectly installed resulting in minor injury. Staff appeared unconcerned when the incident was reported on checkout. The renovation work in progress gave the areas finished a good clean appearance but apparently no one was checking the quality of the renovation work nor the attitude of the staff.

Joseph who was on the desk was very professional but friendly too - he gave us a great recommendation for dinner also. Our room was recently remodeled and was very comfortable - the lobby was very clean and organized enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is on Interstate 10 at exit 7. Desk staff were friendly & helpful, & our room was very quiet, clean and nice. (Cleanliness in a hotel/motel is so important) They serve breakfast in the a.m., which is something we always look for. There are all the amenities you could want-pool is outdoors. Also, the route from there to the Naval Air Station is so easy-it takes a little while-but very simple. There's an Italian restaurant up the road about a mile, & also a Sonny's Bar-B-Q which is very good, nearby. We had a nice stay there & would go back if in the area again.

Okay, we have stayed here before and so we stay when we are ever in the area. Good and friendly people and great rooms. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. We really cannot recommend the Blue Angel enough.

This one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at. It is clean, comfortable and easy to get to. The breakfast is better than most of this type. This is the second time we stayed here and would go back again.

Staying here was a pleasure! Considering the rate, this is a "grand" hotel, without spending a grand. The facility is fine, rooms were clean, we all got a great night of sleep (no road noise though we are not far from the interstate). Breakfast was good, for hotel breakfast food (I do wish they had chocolate milk!!). I recommend for anyone to stay here.

Friendly and helpful staff, a clean and quiet room, and fresh hot breakfast each morning ... who could ask for anything more? Well, you can because it's also affordable, and conveniently located to everything including the beaches without being in the midst of the town's traffic.

I used to stay at different chains, but over all have never gotten a bad stay at any Best Western hotels.On this trip I decided to stay at only Best Westerns.This hotel was clean, convenient and the staff was excellent.
