Best Western Plus Peace River Hotel & Suites

I've stayed in the Peace River Best Western on several occasions and have always found it clean, well managed, and accommodating for my work trips. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a nice variety of food and beverage. The 2:00am train is less than desirable though.

Love the parking here the staff the food it's a top notch hotel, breakfast always excellent. Clean and fresh , easy access to shopping and good food , fantastic view of the valley below , will always stay here when coming to town

While being the most expensive hotel in Peace River it certainly was good value when you considered the full breakfast included. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on and we often stay in 5 star hotels. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean.

As expected of a Best Western, everything was great. The room had carpet for the most part but also a section of heated floor. Great location for restaurants, gas station and Tim Horton nearby. The parking offer room for larger vehicles.

this is a very nice hotel, and is in a great location. It is very well maintained, and kept very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is a good hot continental breakfast with some variety from day to day. I always try to stay here when in Peace River.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. It was quiet and the hot breakfasts available from 5 to 10 am were a standout. Better then many sit down meals I have experienced. Highly recommend.

The staff at the Peace River Best Wester are very friendly and accommodating. I've stayed there many times and they always great me by name when I arrive. The breakfast is very good and has a wide variety to choose from. I like that it is located within walking distance to the Wall Mart, Shoppers Drugs, and IGA, because i often find myself short of something.

Smooth sailing, friendly staff spotless rooms and ac that works. breakfast in the morning and a secure camera guarded parking lot.Other than the room survey I am entailed in right now, the only negative experience was the question concerning my gender. There are two genders, no more. By catering to thew cancer that is the woke mind, you only perpetuate this nonsense and I have had my fill of this utter foolishness!

It is very nice place to stay in Peace River if you are traveling there. People are nice, breakfast is very nice. You can grab snacks and fruits for your lunch. It is also clean all the time. There are Tim Hortons, Mcdonalds, Wall mart, Shoppers and Starbucks in walkable distance as well.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was great. Room was nice and clean. Staff was incredibly helpful. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and pharmacy. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Peace River

Room rate is way to high but the room are nice and clean but there are other places that are just as nice but the rooms are very overpriced but it has a not bad location and that's all that I can say about that .

They have upped their nightly rate to over $200/night for just a regular room. No running water the night I stayed there and no compensation for it either. Seems like all they want is to get rich fast. The cleaners we're running the vacuum down the haul at around 9pm while I was trying to sleep. The manager (Sofia I think her name is) is not helpful or pleasant to deal with at all. Will not be staying there again until the nightly rate's return to a normal price ($120-$140) for a regular room

I had an extended business trip to Peace River, the suite was excellent and very comfortable for such a long stay. The kitchenette was equipped with everything I needed to be away from home and not have to eat out every meal.

An excellent hotel with full amenities and helpful staff. Their hot breakfast was wonderful. This hotel is our "go to" place after a long drive. Great location with nearby restaurants and gas stations.

Rooms are big and very quiet. Staff is helpful. Many options for breakfast. I left early before breakfast starts but they gave me a food pack.great location and brand new hotel. Little expensive but worth every dollar.

We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to the Northwest Territories. Our room with a kitchenette was very large and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming when we checked in. I'm not sure how old the property is but it seems they really aren't prepared for people to actually cook using the kitchen facilities. There were few dishes, some mugs, pots and pans, cutting board and one large knife but no glasses or wine glasses. The cooktop is a magnetic induction unit and having never used one before, it took some trial and error to figure out how to cook our meal. There is also no dish drying rack so we had to use the dishwasher. Otherwise, the room was spotless and a great place to relax after a long day of driving. There are restaurants and services nearby including a Freson Brothers for groceries.

It really is like coming home! Staff always remember my name and make me feel very welcomed♥️ The sleep is always great, the breakfast is always very well presented and with lots of variety. Highly recommend!

excellent hotel , extremely friendly and helpful people at the front desk, the room was very clean and the beds very comfy . The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and the ladies how where in charge did a great job . Mr. Mike restaurant in walking distance was a great bonus

We were in Peace River as they hosted the Alberta55 plus Summer Games. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for your genuine hospitality! We happily give our recommendations to stay here. The only downside was that the Hot tub area was closed.

I stayed here for a business trip in June 2022. The staff were so friendly, attentive & made me feel welcome. The rooms and hotel were very clean. Breakfast (included with room rate) had a great selection. The location was not the greatest for me. I prefer to be on the other side of the river near Board & Barrel & Peace River Brewing, but if you like Mr Mike's, it is just a few short steps away. There is also a beautiful new walking trail that takes you directly to the pedestrian bridge, if you are up for a walk, hills included. :)

A terrific hotel with full services and hot breakfast included. Very friendly and attentive staff - room was roomy. The location is great also - close to a Wal Mart centre and gas stations. Will definitely stay here again.

Best Western Plus have been a staple in my world when it comes to travel and staying extended durations due to work. Hotel and staff regardless of where I stay have been terrific. As a rule good pricing and meals that are spot on.

I always stay at this hotel when in Peace River. I have tried many of the local establishments in the last 40 years and there is no comparison to the BW. Hands down the best breakfast of the many hotel I have stayed at. Great staff and service.

This is the only location I will stay at in Peace River. The location of the hotel is ideal and close to restaurants, gas stations, and other services. The staff have been friendly and provide excellent recommendations. The level of cleanliness is set to a very high standard. I have stayed here several times and always been impressed that the standard of service has never fallen.

Excellent property and people running the hotel! Clean well kept and the takeaway breakfast they serve during these Covid times was the best we've experienced to date. If travelling to Peace River this is the place to stay!

Every single time I stay at Peace River Best Western, I feel like I've returned home! Cleanliness, attention to detail and fantastic staff make the hotel! The manager always remembers my preferred room and floor- the minute she sees me, she has this huge smile- the staff she hires and her leadership is amazing♥️

Our room was very clean and we loved how roomy it was! We had a King Suite with a couch and table that was handy when my Brother and his wife stopped by to visit. The bed was very comfortable and it was so nice to have a fridge with a little freezer for snacks! This hotel is well situated just off the main highway, and has a choice of good restaurants nearby!

This hotel is heavily used by oil patch crews and it shows. The dried mud started outside and tracked in through the lobby, in the elevator and down to hallway. Our room had chunks of dried mud on the floor and one of the previous guests had scraped their boots on the back of our door. The room was very dusty - at least a week's worth of dust built up on all the surfaces. We thought it would get addressed when our room was cleaned (we stayed for 2 nights), but much to our surprise housekeeping didn't even come to our room to do anything. We had to track down fresh towels and coffee. The beds were not comfy - they're just worn out. Much like this hotel. It's been heavily used and it's time for a serious update.

Staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel and guest room was very clean. We had a nice comfortable sleep. The AC was required as it was a hot day. The breakfast was great with many options. We are definitely staying here again!

Had a trip with my two children. We got a discount on the last room available, which also was a suite. Score! I didn't know that two bedroom king sized suites were available, Will definitely choose as our new go-to family room.

extremely disappointed stayed here for the last 3 months however on my last stay, I found blood under the pillow, I slept on a bed which has not probably cleaned, did not get any discount for it, although staff came and change sheets right away when I complained. the fact that I slept on a dirty bed not to mention a blood on it makes me cringe!! extremely so disappointed.

Nice clean place to stay, friendly staff and comfy beds. Stayed one night in January of 2021. No complaints at all. Breakfast was good considering the COVID restrictions . Will definitely be back in the future !

I stayed at this location a couple of times last week. The first time I had a suite with 2 king bedrooms and the second time a 2 queens with a couch. The rooms are clean and in great shape. The location is close to the highway and shopping facilities. They had a very good breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice and clean hotel. the staff are very helpful. I have stayed here many times. i had an issue on my last stay and they were very quick to fix the issue which ended in my getting a different room. I really appreciate their helpfulness.

Hotel is located in a great area near Walmart and grocery store, drug store and plenty of restaurant choices Rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly and professional, hotel is clean. Looking forward to end of covid-19 restrictions so we can get back to usual breakfast buffet, as Grab-and-go breakfast was disappointing.

There isn't anything wrong with this hotel but the value. I have stayed here a few times, mostly work related. It's always fine but have stayed in many Best Western standard hotels that have bigger rooms, additional furniture etc for a much better rate. This hotel is overpriced in my view. Peace River has more accommodations to offer now.

This hotel is perfectly situated with a Mr. Mikes right in the parking lot along with a conveniently located liquor store. The hotel is very nice with nice clean rooms and a great grab and go option for breakfast.

This was a business trip and we appreciated the warm welcome and clean, spacious room during this time of COVID. Felt very safe at this hotel and appreciated the grab and go breakfast keeping us all socially distant. Easy walk across the parking lot to Mr. Mike's restaurant so didn't have to drive for a relaxing dinner. Would recommend for those looking for an uncomplicated, clean, friendly place to stay in Peace River.

My travels for business require long distances driving, focused customer service, and report writing. This site always sets me up with a comfortable room, with lots of space to either complete my work, or just sit back, read a book and listen to classical music. PS the Lazy-Boy type recliner chair was the best.

Excellent stay , friendly staff , clean rooms , comfy beds and the best continental breakfast we've ever had . Nice change in variety of food ( pot stickers , meatballs , pastries and cinnamon buns on top the usual items . Nice and central . Mr.Mikes is across the parking lot . Timmies / McD's close to . Great team rate .

The location was fairly close to where we needed to be. Plenty of restaurants, etc. in the area. Breakast was decent. Was able to get a late checkout which was convenient for us. Room was comfortable and quiet ... overall was a nice stay.

We alway choose Best Western whenever we can, especially in Peace River. Great staff, great breakfast, good location by Walmart. We will use the hot tub next time as well. Room was very clean and a nice temperature.

The rooms are well designed and smartly furnished. The cooking facilities are next to useless. I tried the breakfast and found it suitable for one or two days. My main disappointment was the way the room price changed daily. There are better options in Peace River.

I actually feel like I'm coming home for a night's stay when I go to this hotel! I always feel recognized and welcomed! They always have a room for me, never been turned away even though I don't book ahead!

Excellent Breakfast included, rooms were clean and quiet, staff was friendly, quick check in and check out of a large bus group as we had a whole hockey team check in, would definitely recommend and we will be back again as well

Excellent hotel to stay at with a good view of the valley from our room . Staff has always been friendly with a smile and ready to make your stay good . Breakfast has many choices to choose from . Great location for amenities and Mr Mike's restaurant right next door .

First impression was the lobby was clean and nicely decorated. We got a room on the 4th floor, facing the lobby/parking lot. Even numbers gets you a view of the valley. The room with two queen bed had a leather bench, table with two chairs, work desk and small counter with a coffee pot. Bathroom had a small, small tub. Beds were very comfortable. In all the room had lots of space for 3 people. Wi-fi was super slow. We didn't use the breakfast room. We checked in the late afternoon, thus the parking lot was empty and past 8pm it was full of vehicles. Hotel was full of construction workers but it quiet. Cons: Some odd shirtless man walking around the lobby/venting machines. Don't need to see that. Pros: The Hotel is within walking distance to shops, fast food joints, grocery store and Mr. Mikes.

Great staff, convenient and great location, and an excellent breakfast. Fitness center's also pretty good! Will definitely be staying here in the future. Express check-out is also available; check-in and check-out only take 1-2 minutes.

We decided to stay on the fourth floor and am very glad that we did. It was very quiet and we actually had a lovely view. Everything was clean and had a big bathroom which was very nice. Will certainly stay there again.

Hotel was clean and tastefully decorated. The lobby was well appointed and was welcoming. The front desk attendant made us feel welcome and connected with my children which eased our minds. The rooms are well appointed with queen beds and 40' TV. the room temperature was quite low but adjusting it was very easy. The small kitchenette had enough to make it feel useful and the room had a full size fridge which was important to us during this trip. Bathroom was clean and well lit, the shower an toilet were fairly standard and water pressure was good. If you are traveling with a family, this should be your one stop hotel. The only negative is that there is no pool!!

Peace River is a place that people typically pass through. This hotel is perfect. It is in a "new" part of town, above the river. There is a steakhouse, Tim Hortons, and McDonalds next door, as well as grocery store and Walmart. The location is very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was a good combination of hot and cold items. I will stay again.

I have stayed at the Best Western over the past 3 years and find their service to be exceptional. From check in to check out the stay is always comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are large and clean with good internet access.

Spent a night here with my family on a quick trip to Peace River. The room was nice and clean, bed comfortable, and no problems with out stay. There is a small exercise room and hot tub / sauna area which is nice for relaxing. What we really enjoyed was the complimentary breakfast. There were a lot of choices including bacon and eggs, toast, yoghurt, juices, cereals, etc. It was more than we'd expected. There are some fast food options plus a WalMart all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, found the staff friendly, and would stay here again.

Stayed here 1 night while on business in Peace River. I expected more but perhaps that's my fault. A much friendlier welcome would have been nice after a 5 hour drive. Unfortunately, my room wasn't available due to a shortage a cleaning staff that day. What would have exceeded expectations is if the girl at the front desk (who checked me in) would have found me another room or room type. But instead, I had to leave and come back at 3pm. If rooms are available (which they were), the hotel was not sold out, give guests the option and find them another room or even upgrade them if their room is not ready. But staff had more of a 'what I have to do' approach. Instead of a 'what Can I do'. This is one of the reasons I don't prefer this brand.

I stayed at this Best Western for business and was impressed with my overall stay. The check in experience was fast, efficient and the team was very friendly. My room was clean, modernized, large and comfortable. The bed was heavenly and sheets were cozy. The bathroom has been renovated with lots of room. Internet was fast and breakfast was delicious. A great stay and I would recommend this hotel in Peace River!

Tried other hotel downtown and quickly changed to this hotel. Stayed here before for work and it is a quiet, clean hotel with good service. Breakfast is awesome! Only downfall is that they have a small weight room.

We stayed here for two nights in a one bedroom suite room. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, great heating and the option of opening a window for some air if you want to, small kitchen with everything you need for a short stay and breakfast included each day. Other little things that make a difference: lots of power points for charging up phones, laptops, cameras etc. Great linens, towels etc. Good parking and close to shops, steakhouse etc. The only thing that I think they could improve on here is the television options - an upgrade of this to include netflix access or PPV movies or something would be great as the options were very limited. I would definitely recommend staying here while you are in Peace River.

Very clean, close to restaurants and other shopping emedities. Good rates for Business travellers. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast included. Walking distance to Walmart and Tim's. Would be best to drive if you wish to get downtown or to a movie theatre.

Overall, has all amenities a hotel should have. Great sleep, quiet rooms, good internet, great breakfast, good hot tub, sauna and fittness room. Stayed for 21days while working, was close to Walmart and Tim Hortons. Happy with the stay!

The hotel is pretty new, it received Excellence award for two years straight. Rooms are big and clean, there is the possibility to choose the one with the kitchen inside. Breakfast is ok. Strongly suggested hotel.

The hotel, staff and breakfast wrer great. this is the secont time I have stayed at this hotel on two occassions and I have enjoyed both. It is comfortable, clean and affordable. I do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Enjoyed my stay, despite sauna broken. Good breakfast, friendly staff, would stay there again. Bed was very comfortable and the shower had lots of pressure. Good location near a restaurant and grocery store.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. Didn't experience any problem. Room was clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was above average. Fitness room quite small but clean and functional. Heaviest dumbbell is 35 lb. stationary bike, treadmill and elliptical are available for cardio.

Good service from staff, very clean and up to date. Convenient location near Tim Hortons, McDonald's, a grocery store, liquor store and restaurant all within walking distance plus other amenities close by. Small gym but decent, hot tub and sauna to relax in. Breakfast isn't real fancy but lots of options and better then most hotels.

We stayed at this hotel on two occasions on our way to and from Great Slave Lake and both times were very satisfied with amenities and service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the night was restful in our oversized room and the full breakfast very sumptuous. We fully recommend this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, with well laid out rooms - convenient work space, great bathroom, coffee service and very good complimentary breakfast. My own complaint was that the bedding was put on the bed sideways! This meant that it only covered halfway up the bed! I had to pull the bedding off and remake the bed. Otherwise very good.

Always stay at BW hotels, love the Plus amenities, decor, etc. Makes business travel very comfortable and safe, being a female traveling alone, this is very important to me. We are going to Italy in 3 weeks, using BW points to pay for 5 nights, what a great way to experience the benefits of BW Rewards program!

Decent place to stay, staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Found it odd that the cost of a room with a king bed was more than a room with 2 queens even tho it was only me and they wouldn't honour the lowest price I found online. Had to book online to get that price but no cancel option online if I could t make it so iffy to book. I always appreciate rooms with windows that open as I prefer fresh air vs a/c running all night. I was disappointed with the tv channel selection and the breakfast. Potatoes were soggy and bacon was greasy but the selection was good. Bed was comfy and hot tub was relaxing. Overall decent compared to other options.

We stayed in the two bedroom family suite and were very impressed with the cleanliness and modern decor. Lots of space for our family! And very quiet as well. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even gave our toddler a cookie at check-in :) Easily our best hotel experience as a family. Highly recommend!!

I always try to stay at the BW Peace River when in town for business. Some co-workers have stayed at other hotels and mentioned the noise and interruptions they have endured. In my dozens of stays this has just not happened to me. I think they will be joining me next time!

We enjoyed our stay in Peace River at the Best Western Plus. I thought the price was great with regards to the quality of the hotel, our room and our favourite - breakfast. The breakfast was well done with lots of options. We will definitely stay here again!

We went to Peace River for the weekend to kick back. The welcome from the front desk was warm and inviting. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Love the leather furniture! Breakfast was free, delicious and varied every day. We will be back soon!

Stayed two nights for business. Check-in and check-out was quick and smooth. Booked king room and was pleased with size of room. Plenty space and even had an electric recliner. Microwave and fridge in room were nice perks. Used fitness room which included treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and free weights. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice including hot food. Will definitely stay here again.

Really nice hotel. The rooms are really clean and modern with everything I needed. The hotel has a full breakfast with your stay included so that's a bonus. There's a small fitness room with a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and weights and the room also has two TVs and a water cooler. The hot tub is also located just off the fitness room. In the same parking lot as the hotel is a Mr. Mikes steakhouse and across the street is a McDonald's, a Tim Hortons and a Shoppers Drug Mart. The check in was quick and easy and the staff is really friendly. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Great rooms and service. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend a stay here. Muffins in the breakfast room were a little dry and stale. Could have better quality eggs vs bagged eggs but no big deal. Goo place to get some sleep.

Absolutely love the Peace River Country! The stay here was very relaxing and the overall hotel was very good. Both breakfast and the room were above average! Would love to have stayed longer to enjoy more of the area.

The hotel staff were very helpful and informative. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Rooms are very nice and clean. Great breakfast hours with a 5 am start for hot food. Lots of parking as well. I've enjoyed my stay and would do so again.

Staff very polite and friendly! Room was nice and big and clean! Bathroom was a nice size! Has coffee maker, fridge and microwave! Feather pillows have got to go...they are no good for allergies or comfort! That still disappoints us in BW hotels...

Great place to stay , clean , very nice rooms , an actual TV guide that shows what is on TV , good breakfast , plug ins for vehicles , fuel stations , liquor store , restaurants and all amenities within blocks . Staff treated us top notch and friendly .

Great place to relax and regroup after a winter road trip back from the Northwest Territories. Great pub next door, to grab a burger, a beer and a good sleep before continuing on south. Staff are excellent.

Staff was helpful, was not impressed with lady who took reservation,had to repeat myself numerous times to finally get what I was looking for .breakfast needs improvement. room was comfortable and clean, bet of a puzzle getting to hotel ,should improve once road construction in area is completed.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, room was large and adequate for our 4 person family, gave the kids some extra room, front door area of our room was congested, not enough room to bring in the hotel cart with luggage, cheap coffee, small bathtub, comfy beds, a bit noisy in our room as we were next to the entryway of the hotel.

The rooms were quiet and clean, exactly what I expect from Best Western and why I try to stay in Best Western hotels as often as I can while travelling. Express check out makes things easier. Breakfast is always good and what you need to start your day off right. Clean and new, nothing fancy, but does the job. Breakfast bar was well stocked and cleaned. Only negatives are tiny towels and sound proofing between rooms. Set my alarm for 7 but got up with the neighbors at 6:30.

Well kept hotel, good breakfast, great location! I would recommend staying here. You can walk all the way down alongside the river starting just behind the hotel - very scenic! The fitness center is also well equipped and clean.

Was in on Saturday night for an overnight during a competition. Really easy check in, super friendly staff was really welcome after a long day. Traveled with my daughter and they made her feel very welcome as well. Beds were comfy, shower had great hot water, really a good's night sleep. Breakfast was fresh scrambled eggs, choice of bacon or pork patties, waffles, yogurt and cereal. Coffee was good. When it came time to check out in the morning, again the staff was super friendly, helpful and really easy to check out. Great place to stay, will definitely stay there again

Being a Tour Manager, I've been in around 200 hotels over the last 4 years in Canada. i've seen it all. This hotel is in my top 5 regarding quality and price. Great rooms, healthy breakfast, great staff. Will come again next time i'm in Calgary.

The room was very clean and comfortable room. The reception personal were excellent as well as the free full breakfast was great and very well laid out. Walking distance Tim Horton's, MacDonald's, Shoppers Drugstore, grocery store, Walmart, and Mr. Mike's Steakhouse, plus the TD bank. Room I had face the river which was a nice view from the 4th floor.

Excellent service very clean accommodation. Staff are very friendly. I had a very restful sleep both night's. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are relaxing , bright and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers for a restful stop. I will.be returning on my next visit to.the area

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary with a trip to Peace River and Grande Prairie. We stayed at Best Western hotels both nights and as usual, were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend both hotels.

Just stay at this property while on business, nicely appointed room, comfortable bed and quality complimentary breakfast better than the green guys. Friendly staff willing to help and make stay pleasant.

This motel has friendly staff, the room was very clean, the sheets lovely, crisp cotton, good coffee, and a quiet room that faced a field, not the highway. I would definitely stay here again. Additionally, we pre-paid the room and received a nice discount for that.

My recent stay at the Best Western in Peace River was great. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the fitness center was functional and the staff throughout the day and evening were very friendly. I will be staying there during my next trip to Peace River.

Satisfied with the value I received for this hotel. Location was ok. Access road somewhat rough to get to hotel. Rooms were quite comfortable. Fairly new hotel, so rooms, etc were all in great condition.

After a long day of travelling from Yellowknife NWT to Peace River Alberta we were tired. There was only one very friendly woman checking people in, so that was tiresome waiting, but she was super friendly. Wished there was more people to help check in. The breakfast was okay. We couldn't connect to the Wifi. The room was clean and the location in Peace River was great. We wanted a simple dinner in the room and there's a great grocery store steps from the hotel that serves up a lot of hot take away food. The staff was helpful pointing out a local park for my young sons to burn off energy after being in the car for over 10 hrs. The hotel was clean and quiet. A good stay and Peace River is a beautiful place.

A great hotel and Very Clean, the front desk staff was excellent and I was well treated during my time there. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in this area. Also very close to an excellent steak house and stores.

This hotel has very nice rooms and very comfortable beds, the staff are professional and friendly, if there was one thing they could improve is the lighting in the bathrooms, it was not very bright. This hotel also has the best and fastest elevator I have used which is great.

Friendly staff; clean rooms; good breakfast; and, amenities right there. Being + 30 when we were in Peace River for 4 nights made a clean and air conditioned room a welcomed relief to come back to. New Mr. Mikes right beside the hotel and i got a $ 20 salad (make your own ) from a perfect grocery store just across the street. There's a Tim's beside it too for coffee addicts like myself.

Great stay at the hotel. It is located very convenient close to the highway and only a short drive from the old town Center. The nearby restaurant and shopping Center is also a plus for the stay. The rooms are well equipped and very roomy.

While the Best Western Plus at Peace River met or exceeded all our expectations of any Best Western we have stayed in; it was the attitude of the staff that really should put them on the map as an exceptional place to stay!

This was a good stop on the way home from Edmonton. The hotel staff were excellent. The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly and offered extra bedding for one of our children. The checkout went smoothly with friendly smiles.

Quiet hotel for a business trip. Would like to have seen a armchair in the room to relax and read rather then in bed or at a desk. There was a spot for a chair but no chair. Fridge was loud and could not turn it off or down. Front desk staff was very helpful in recommending a restaurant in the area.

The hotel and staff were lovely. The rooms are large and clean, however the breakfast is probably the worst I have had at a hotel. It was very pedestrian, seems like it comes in frozen and heated in a microwave.

I love Best Western hotels because they always offer a smoke-free, comfortable room. The Best Western doesn't scrimp on little comforts like extra plush towels, fine bed linens, and good internet. My only suggestion for improvement is more healthy food options at the breakfast. Organic muesli cereal, more fruit and organic fruit. Lots of people are concerned about healthy eating these days. It would be good to accommodate them.

Very nice to see a clean and well run hotel that caters to your business needs. Breakfast was terrific and fulfilling. Would hope to see more people stay here as it wasn't very busy during the week. Nice staff and very helpful. Being it was just off the highway, was very quite.

Awesome breakfast included, decent machines in the fitness room and very comfy beds. Throw in a very friendly staff and this is a great place to stay while in Peace River. Very close to McDonalds, Tim Hortons, TD Bank, and Walmart.

Rooms very clean. Staff more than accomodating when I needed the room more nights and they were fully booked. Breakfast had wide variety of foods Our room was very quiet for the hotel to be full like it was.

Staff were friendly, Rooms were clean and express check was a great option. There was a mix up with the breakfast start and end time which ended in us having to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Other than that everything was excellent.

I enjoyed staying at this location, the fitness centre was clean and good. They had a nice hot tub and the sauna was nice. The room had an electric recliner chair that was very comfortable in the beds were also very comfortable .

Quiet, clean & spacious room. Newly built with modern appliances. It is walking distance to restaurants and shopping and Tim Hortons. It has an ambiance of country. It is easy to find and get to downtown or out of town.

Staff were fantastic - extremely pleasant, thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with when staying away from home ... I would recommend staying here and I am frequently a person who stays at many hotels during the year on business - best small town service I have ancountered

I was very impressed with this hotel- friendly staff, gluten free breakfast items available and nutritional info posted for breakfast items, comfortable, clean room. Only downside was the internet disconnected constantly. I don't think this is the hotels fault but more so where the hotel is located.

the hotel was amazing for the price the breakfast was great with so many options . was really happy with the price..the hot tub and sauna were a real treat after a long day. i would recommend this place to all my friends and family

The staff at this location had suggestions for restaurants in town and gave accurate directions. The staff called a taxi for me and helped problem solve when taxi did not await my entrance into the cab. Staff also called me on the day of check out to let me know I had left my makeup bag in the bathroom. They offered to courier it to me. Very great customer service.

The hotel has its limitations as far as a restaurant but does provide a free breakfast to the best of their abilities. They had modified things for the breakfast and offered alternatives and even fresh scrambled eggs as we cannot eat a lot of processed foods. As a group through the University of Calgary, they went out of their way to make it convenient for instructors and students to feel like they were at home there. My husband has some mobility issues and they always booked the room around that when he was coming with me and planned ahead for our needs. The hotel often has teams of students for hockey or basket ball, their was only one really noisy experience with the north Peace hockey league, however, in saying that the hotel has no control over the horrible behavior of the kids and their adult supervisors or parents. The hotel staff worked hard to keep things quiet and clean up after this disrespectful group. The staff also automatically booked those of us who needed quiet on a different floor to muffle the noise. They always anticipated our needs.

I have stayed in Peace River numerous times over the past two years and I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and look very updated, the breakfast buffet has a great selection. There is a Mr Mike's Steakhouse next to the hotel. Just past that there is a Tim Hortons, a McDonalds, a gas station, a large grocery store and a Shoppers Drug Mart. I have never had any issues with noise or unruly other guests. The staff have always been prompt and courteous. When I pass through Peace River I never think to book anywhere else.

Excellent room, quiet building, considering alot of crew activity up North. Nice breakfast, good assortment of meal items. Staff very pleasant to deal with. Location was very good, close to restaurant and shopping. Nice also to have a timmy's nearby.

Hassle at front desk that I didn't bring drivers license (purse stolen on weekend so in middle of replacing) even though I stay here all the time for work! Microwave won't work--they have to flip breakers on and off--still didn't work. No one made up the bed. Not worth the money.

Great hotel. Location can be confusing to find but not bad. Super comfy power recliner chair in room, nice touch. Great idea. Quite new so still nice and clean despite the mud in the area. Bathroom could use a night light but I carry one with us.Enjoyed our stay. thank you.

I have brought this to the attention of the management, who wouldn't know the difference between a hatrick and a slapshot but anyway, I advised them that Sportsnet World is the worst sports channel as it only shows cricket and F1 racing...if you would like to watch ANY northamerican sport...than find a different hotel.!!! I have!

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Peace River in mid-October on business. I have stayed at the hotel before, also on business. The hotel clean and the staff friendly. A room with a king size bed is spacious and has a comfortable recliner chair in the room where one can sit and read a book. Breakfast is provided and is quite extensive. An added benefit is that the hotel is walking distance from the Tim Horton's. The only drawback is that the road in front of the hotel is not paved and the gravel is in poor condition, especially when it rains or the snow melts. The hotel parking lot is paved.

Stayed here a couple of weekends ago on our way North and it was like we were an inconvenience to the red/orange haired lady as my husband asked for a room due to a snow storm. Then all night it was very noisy with nobody at the desk to tell the parents to control their teenagers. Very disappointed as the hotel is beautiful but the service was non existent.

Stayed at the Best Western Peace River for 1 night, October, 2016. Travelled to Peace River for hockey. Great place to stay when in Peace River. Hotel is fairly new, so the room are quite nice, bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard hotel breakfast, but always nice to have breakfast included. Workout equipment was not that great. Treadmill was not top quality. There is a trail right next to the hotel that meandering down the hill towards town, passed a few deer along the trail. Also adjoining the hotel parking lot is a Mr.Mike's, which is a great restaurant/bar. Definitely would stay here again if I needed a place to stay in the Peace River area.

I stay at Best Western all through Alberta and BC and have always had a good stay. My room is clean and nicely decorated. There is coffee and tea to enjoy. Morning breakfast is very nice. When my wife and I travel in Canada and the United States we always stay at the Best Western knowing that our stay will be a good one.

Staff were great and pleasant. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was tasty. It is convenient located next to a popular steak house, Tim Hortins and Walmart and grocery. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel staff, breakfast, fitness area, amenities and location are excellent! I have stayed at this property several times and will return to this property on my next business trip. The hotel provided good value.

Very modern hotel, and a great place to stay. Front desk people seemed happy and very friendly. The rooms are better than average and worth staying in. The Continental breakfast was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at. Fresh, hot and enough to get you started and on your way. Located by several restaurants and fast food locations, this hotel has "the traveler" on their mind. It offers everything you need when passing through or staying for a few days. It really was a nice place to stay.

I highly recommend this hotel. The delicious breakfast, clean rooms and well kept up hotel is the best in Peace River. SInce they have opened a few years ago, they have kept the hotel clean and a pleasure to stay at. Plus there is now a steakhouse just a few feet away.

Stayed two nights. The hotel was clean and new. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the entire time I was there, there was a subtle fresh linen smell throughout my room. The TV channels are very boring which is outside of the hotel's control. There are a few stores and places to eat around the hotel which was very convenient.

We stayed one night in August - 4 people in 2 rooms. One room was a "Queen Suite" with 2 queen beds, and the other a room with a single king bed. The hotel is across the Peace R. just west of the main town in a newer developed shopping area. It's fairly new. Reception was friendly and quick. Our rooms were main floor on the front, right on the parking area. They were very nice, especially the suite which had a 2 TVs and a nice sectional corner sofa. There was a small table & 2 chairs, microwave and small fridge. There was a business desk and chair. An iron and board were in the cupboard. The beds had lots of pillows and were very comfy. The heating/cooling unit worked well. The king room was also very nice, but without the sofa and 2 TVs. The breakfast area in the lobby was large and well stocked. There were hot breakfast items (eggs, etc.), waffle makers, toast, juices, etc. The lady keeping it clean and stocked does a great job! There is no pool, but there is very nice exercise room with a hot tub room adjacent. There's a good restaurant next door called Mr. Mikes Steak House, with a liquor store in the same building. There's a Tim Horton's, Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart close by. NOTES - the hotel appears a favourite with big rig truckers and there were many trucks in the parking lot, and truckers at breakfast. They appeared to be hotel 'regulars' and it made the breakfast area boisterous around 8 am. Also our suite was directly adjacent the lobby entrance and there were two ashtrays just outside the lobby doors - with our room window open the smoke blew in! I phoned the desk and they asked the smokers to move. Management should prohibit smoking adjacent to the rooms.

Very clean as it's fairly new. Great for business travellers as close to other hotels and restaurants and amenities. Has a pool and slide, great place to stay for hockey tournaments. Would recommend this to families, friends and business associates. Very clean rooms, good t/v's and internet is fair to good. Would be a good place to stay all around , but primarily for business travellers.

This hotel was selected because of its location during a business trip. It has all the features you would expect from the Best Western Plus brand. It is just off the highway, in a commercial area that also has restaurants and retail stores. It has ample parking, a well appointed lobby and very friendly staff. The room was large, very clean and very well appointed. Internet was excellent, and the bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend it for anyone on a business trip that wants a good night's sleep!!

Awsome place to be food is awsome staff is perfect and wonderfull. Nice restraunt within a walking distance mr mikes. Then you have timhortons iga mcdonalds and dairy queen within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms are very clean and tidy

Stayed for one night only but a very nice place. The desk staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was large and very clean, great WiFi too. Breakfast was included and was better than most free breakfasts. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

A very good experience. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had at a hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable - two of the main criterion for us! Good value for the money. We'd stay here again if in the area in the future.

The staff at this hotel were the most hospitable I have come across. Always friendly and very helpful. A hot breakfast is included with hotel stay, food was amazing and fresh. Hotel is in a great location with many stores and services within walking distance. I was here with my work crew, 22 rooms in total and everyone was delighted with their rooms. Very clean and new. They have a fantastic little gym including hot tub and sauna. I will definitely be booking this hotel again when we are working in the area.

You can get a good night sleep in a clean and quiet room that is walking distance to stores and dining. Next to Tim Hortons, gas station, drug store and steak house. You can easily walk to whatever you need.

Larger hotel than I expected with elevator. Lady at check in desk was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with a view of the Peace River. There was a large electronic recliner, 3 lamps with electrical outlets in their bases. The desk outlet was above the desk where it could be easily accessed. Touch key access to room (no sliding card). We stayed here two nights and would definitely stay here again.

Other than the rubberized Omelettes, tasteless sausages and nuked bacon, the stay was fantastic, the staff were very helpful, The room offered up choices in pillows which is very important to me. Overall very good experience

Other than amenities not very close to it like movie theatres and such, the location to restaurants is good. Would recommend this to anyone travelling for business or pleasure.

Hotel is new and conveniently located to restaurants and other services. Staff were very friendly the property was clean and the complementary breakfast was good. Check in and out was fast and courteous.

The People in Charge of Tourism in Peace River do not do a very good job!! Sure you have accommodations in Downtown Peace River but go across the Bridge & you have the Newest Accommodations Available in Peace River. The Best Western Plus is one of these properties. A relatively New Property but the Town of Peace River has to step it up or the developer in the area. Roads are not paved into the property but the property is all paved. Our only problem is that when we returned from the Funeral we were attending,our room had not been done. When I approached the Front Desk,I received a sarcastic response when I asked why the room was not done,"Did You Leave Your Do Not Disturb Sign On??" which I anticipated receiving but after I told this Front Desk person that I was in the Hospitality Industry for 29 years,she changed her way of talking and sent a housekeeper to our room immediately who was still on shift.(This was the only reason this property did not receive an Excellent from us!!) The Morning Breakfast is Spectacular with a very good selection of Hot & Cold Items which held us quite well until Lunch. Somebody should walk outside each morning and do a circular property check for garbage.We noticed an empty Beer Bottle at the Front of the Property that had sat there for the two days we stayed and was still there upon our departure!!

Very new, clean, and comfortable. Nicest place to stay in Peace River. Very close to McDonald's and Tim Hortons. Stayed in a big suite on the main floor with entire family. No complaints or issues to report at all.

I stayed at this hotel recently. This hotel is awesome. Courteous front desk folks and the rooms are well done and spacious. The gym is good too but lacks exercose mats and plug points to charge your cellphones or iPods. The hot tub is great. The breakfast is okay, it is complimentary.

I stayed here two nights for business. The good: - very clean and updated - large rooms and a nice recliner in room - fantastic water pressure and shower head - many well placed electrical outlets (A+ on this point, a pet peeve of mine) - nice comfortable beds - mini fridge and microwave in room - very good hot breakfast included The Bad: - Only 1 item kept me from a 5 star rating. Their Internet was spotty at best. It kept rebooting knocking my devices off. When it worked the speeds were good, but it seemed to reset at random intervals. (maybe when people complained to the front desk about the internet). If they can fix their Internet issues, then it's a perfect place to stay.

Back again for a business trip, BW plus provided another great stay, there rooms are very clean, comfortable beds ,quiet , located in a great place, just walk next door to Mr. Mikes food there was great as well!!! A must stay every-time in Peace River...see you next time :)

BW Plus provided another excellent stay, I will be back. Rooms, breakfast area, lobby and fitness room were all well maintained and clean. The were very accommodating. My TV didn't but was fixed very promptly. Very quiet and enjoyable stay!

This is a great hotel. The rooms are well furnished, a good size and very clean. Good quality shampoo, soap etc is provided. The breakfast is great too: hot food is included such as eggs, sausages, bacon etc. Right across the parking lot is a Mr. Mikes restaurant which is convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

peace river best western is wonderful, clean rooms, great service, great breakfast, All the staff takes care of cutomers, and there is pizza on Tuesdays I would recommend to anyone going to Peace river.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus in Peace River and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, new, modern, The complementary breakfast was huge with food ranging from fresh waffles to 4 different kinds of juices to choose from and everything in between. They even serve fresh pizza Tuesday nights for the guests. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Best Western hotels is now my hotel of choice

This was one of the best stays at a Best western Property in a very long time. The staff kind, courteous and conscientious. The building very well kept, the room wonderfully clean and the complementary shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. was gender neutral and of an out standing quality. my only aahwww was the bed had a very firm matrics

This is undoubtedly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Check in was easy and hotel amenities were explained clearly. The lobby was very clean and the room was spotless. The free breakfast is also the best we have seen for a long time. There are a lot of choices for both cold and hot items. The room was very quiet and had a comfortable bed. The in room wireless internet was fast. The hotel is beside a walking path which goes down to the Peace River. There is a restaurant just across the parking lot so you can just walk to it from the hotel.

Had a clean, modern suite with a wetbar and induction burner. had 2 TV's so I had the choice of sitting in bed/living area. Mr. Mike's restaurant is next door and has good food. Tim Hortons is across the road for coffee. Lots of amenities near by. Did not use the pool/hot tub/fitness area. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choices.

We stayed again for a night on the way from during a recent trip. We received a friendly welcome from the staff and were pleasantly surprised by a free supper for their customer appreciation night. Our room was large and comfortable and we had time to enjoy the hot tub as well. We did have an unpleasant surprise at midnight when the first of several trains went by blowing its horn. I suspect this is an issue for many Peace River hotels as they are all along the highway/rail corridor. Next time we will be sure to ask for a room on the other end of the hotel. Breakfast was good but also very busy and there were no available tables. Thankfully we had a kitchenette so it was no problem to bring breakfast back to our room.

When we arrived we were greeted quickly and the check-in was fast and friendly. Room 111 was assigned to us, which is right off of the lobby, and admittedly I knew once we saw where it was that there would be some noise associated with it's location. Most of the noticeable noise was limited to before 11pm and early morning so it did not bother me enough to change rooms. The room itself was large, well decorated and most importantly, clean. The beds were very comfortable and there was an extra abundance of pillows on each bed if that is a bonus for you. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as a dining table for two, along with the usual desk and tv on a dresser. The staff were very helpful with any questions or needs that we had and the hot breakfast in the mornings had a good variety of choices. I have a dairy allergy so I could not partake so I don't know how tasty it was, but there were a few fruits and muffins along with Almond milk that were allergy friendly. They also had gluten free bread available for toast. All in all, I thought that it was good value for the money.

Very excellent two-queen room: lots of space, large bathroom, extremely comfortable beds, very clean. And aerial show outside window provided by crows wandering up and down beside the building! The fourth floor room facing rear (towards the valley) had a lovely view. It is a short walk to the adjacent shopping center with a 24-hour grocery supermarket, with very good hot food available. Desk staff and breakfast excellent.

We were in Grimshaw for a provincial hockey tournament. The team was designated to stay in this hotel. A group (team) of 11 and 12 year old boys could be a real noisy stay. However, the time spent here was a great pleasure. Very little noise was heard in our room which was clean with a comfortable king size bed and easy to sleep on pillows. The included breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, bagels, cereal, porridge, juices, yogurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, waffles, muffins and more. The staff was accommodating eg. hot water for my thermos which I left behind and they helped me get it back. Hotel staff was friendly and there to help. Hot tub was clean like the whole hotel ( halls, rooms, eating area) This hotel is close to other places to eat. We could walk to fast food places as well as Mr. Mikes. Walmart was within walking distance. We enjoyed a three night stay and would return again.

We were in town arranging the funeral of a family member and this was the hotel most of us stayed at. Good clean rooms and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast provided was quite good. The hot water situation wasn't great-most of my showers were warm not hot and there were some sports teams staying at the hotel who got a little loud for a couple of nights. They didn't keep it up too late so while annoying it wasn't catastrophic. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

We stayed here for 2 nights mid-February in a regular room with a king-size bed. The room was huge and had more than enough room for 2 people to move around. The bed was comfortable and had 2 great night sleeps. Continental breakfast includes eggs and bacon as well as the usual, and it was a great way to start the day! Didn't check out the pool or exercise room, but we will stay here again!

Always accommodating for U of C students. Close to the college, the staff know us now when we come in and are always helpful and accommodating for my husband that has some disabilities with walking. Like the fact they have recliners in some rooms as that is where I often sleep due to back issues.

I spent a week at this hotel on the first week of February for work purposes. I was impressed right from check in. Room was clean and I wanted for nothing. Pizza night on Tuesday was a surprise and welcomed after 12 hours of work. I will definitely be returning.

This hotel was a great place to stay. We checked in late in the evening, and the lady at the desk informed us there were some kids basketball teams staying there so she gave us a room far away from them. The bed was comfortable and the shower had adequate pressure. There was a complimentary hot breakfast included. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The price was right for us as well. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and my husband and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

As university students they have always accommodated us and welcomed us. The staff is always friendly and professional. I also stay in the Grande Prairie Best Western for both business and pleasure. I travel with my work so stay in these two hotels all the time.

I stay at Best Westerns 170+ days a year due to work, I decided to try out the Peace River location again after their flood which closed the hotel for quite sometime. Never the less, the hotel is new, clean and is up to acceptible standards but the rooms I seem to receive being a diamond member are small and seem to crowded with every guest in the hotel around me when there is maybe 10 vehicles in the parking lot (dead, no guests hardly). Secondly I received a phone call from the front desk claiming I'm smoking when I don't even smoke, third my neighbor is clashing and banging around being loud which I would assume is the complaintant. Was charged a stupid $50 fee for damage deposit on arrival which when on direct bill with a company and using a company credit card I don't see this necessary. Will not stay here again, decent hotel but needs better direction from managment. Far more accommodating hotels in the area.

Very nice hotel, we booked a king suite. The room was huge. The hotel is clean. Check in person was ok, seemed new. We asked about cabs and he didn't offer to call us one. Brand new Mr. Mikes resteraunt right beside the hotel. Our friends add the complimentary breakfast and said it was good. We called the hotel direct to book and it went very well.

Stopped overnight after a full days travel. Found the hotel to be very clean, quiet and the staff was quite helpful. There was plenty of parking available with plug ins for cold weather. The location was close to shopping and a restaurant. We were able to walk to the restaurant and shopping. I would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at Best Westerns all over, however, this was my first time staying at this location. I had reserved 2 nights, one night I'd pay for and the 2nd night I was redeeming points for. I made the reservations on the phone through best western rewards. They informed me I'd have to make 2 reservations as I only had enough points for one of the two nights which is what I've done in the past and have never had any issues with. When I arrived at check in I explained to the girl I had reservations for 2 nights. She said no it's only for 1 night. I explained again that I had 2 separate reservations and that I wouldn't be checking out after the first night. She didn't seem to have a clue what I was talking about. She kept saying the only way it would work is if she cancelled my second reservation and updated my first one. The hotel was relatively dead during our stay. I asked her to just make a note on both reservations that there were actually 2 reservations and that I would just check out after the second night. I asked her not to cancel my reservation since I did in fact have a reservation she said she'd sort it out. The next morning I woke up to the paperwork slid under my door for easy checkout even though I wasn't checking out until the next morning. I went down and spent another 5-10 minutes talking to someone else explaining the situation. She was much better and knew exactly what I was talking about and said not to worry I didn't need to check out just come down and see her the following morning. When we first got to our room the heat wasn't turned on. The temperature in the room was 62 degrees. That was way colder than it should have been. If you're turning off the heat to cut costs you should think about turning it on when you have guests checking into those rooms. The room was more than adequate for our needs. there was a microwave, mini fridge etc... it was all clean and aside from the lack of heat when we arrived the room was really good. I travel a lot for both work and pleasure. If I was in PR again I'd consider staying at this hotel again.

I had to go to Peace River for a one night business trip. I booked into the Best Western because of name recognition but was very very pleased with the hotel. It is new, clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly. The beds and pillows were great. It was very clean and the breakfast was terrific. The waffle maker was great and the other hot items were very good. My only criticism was that the fresh fruit was scarce but that is not a reflection of Best Western but of getting fresh fruit in the north. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Peace.

room was good. internet was poor, free pizza was poor, breakfast was very good. Location is good. Mr Mikes being built the the parking lot will be great as there is no restaurant on site. I will stay again as i am a points collector and it is a good location

Enjoyed staying in this centrally located hotel. It was clean, the staff were helpful and nice and it was located by restaurants and shopping for our volleyball team. We had a tournament in both Fahler and Fairview and chose to stay central to both. It had a hot breakfast with waffles, bacon, sausage, French toast, and a regular continental breakfast too. Saved me time and money from having to purchase breakfast items for our team. The hotel was clean and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding at night.

This hotel property was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is very well looked after. The rooms are very spacious and have a very warm decor. The staff was very helpful and wanted to make sure your stay is enjoyable. i will definitely stay at this location again.

We arrived late for our reservation and we were quickly registered and sent to our room. The room was very new and the bed was very nice. Our room was not overly large and was strangely built. The closet doors can't close when jackets are hung in it. It is too narrow even for its hangers to hang straight. This was odd, but the place did have a small fridge and microwave. The room was clean enough, but I certainly wouldn't eat off the floor or anything. I think some of the other trip advisor reviews for this hotel might be a bit over the top. It still is likely one of the best hotels in Peace River. Breakfast was outstanding. Hot omelettes and bacon and the standard waffle maker. Lots of seating. The hot tub was excellent too. We didn't use it, but the small exercise room looked well equipped. We would stay here again.

We had an overnight in Peace River and booked in a King kitchenette with a separate bedroom. We had a very friendly greeting upon arrival and the lady at the front desk was quick to check in with us to ensure our room was OK. It was great! Very spacious and comfortable. My only issue would have been if we were staying longer as there were not many kitchen items available. For an overnight it was not a problem. Breakfast was good and the checkout process was quick and accurate. We will be back!

Check in was great , Ivan was friendly and efficient .The rooms were big, clean ( although the second day when we asked for glasses the person who brought them was not pleased with the clean job) and she came back to re- do.First person who cleaned had not cleaned coffee pot and if looked close I guess was in need of better job which certainly happened. Would have no problem staying at this venue again.

Hotel was clean - beds were comfy - and the breakfast was exceptional. Will be back again next time I need a room in Peace River. Not liking that I have to use at least 200 Characters in my review - but ok

Stayed here for a couple of nights for business. In a area still being developed so the only places to eat are DQ, McDonald's, Tim's. ....basically fast food. The area could use a real resturant closer. Rooms clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast included (very good) and fairly quiet.

I stay here on a regular basis to attend classes. I have always been treated very well, staff are polite, helpful and accommodating. Since we are here on a regular basis many know us by name and certainly make us feel at home. The breakfast in the morning and availability of snacks has been great for us.

You can't beat the location. It sits between the Peace River Airport and the bridge to downtown Peace River. It is a little hard to get to from the highway due to poor signage, but we were able to spot the Best Western from the main highway. There is plenty of free parking and ideally close to everything you might need (Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Horton's to name a few). Check-in was very fast and easy. Lobby was very appealing. Check-in was to left and you can see the breakfast eating area straight ahead. The room is massive considering how low the room rate was ($149.99 a night for two queen beds). The ceiling is very high and the bathroom is larger. There is a separate table with two chairs, perfect for when we ordered in pizza. Beds were very comfortable and we had a view overlooking the Peace River. There is free wifi as well and the connection was very good. I was able to watch Netflix without any streaming difficulties. There is a small "kitchenette", which consists of an empty bar fridge, a microwave and a counter with a tiny coffeemaker. The cups were all disposable but wrapped individually. We didn't have any tea in our room (not sure if it was forgotten) but everything else was in order. The room was super-clean and very well-maintained. A hot breakfast was included in our room rate, so we headed downstairs for breakfast. There is a long breakfast buffet with a variety of options, including at least two hot dishes to choose from (we had a choice between scrambled eggs or an omelet). There is also a make-your-own waffle station. Plenty of drinks to chose from (coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate) too. The food isn't spectacular but it was still pretty good. We would definitely return to stay here again. It was my first stay at a Best Western and I'm now sold on the BW hotels. Staff is young but they're friendly. Fantastic hotel!

Nice hotel which was a surprise for such a small town - room was pretty - bed was very comfortable. They just need to add the extras to make it PLUS in my mind - glass for glasses and maybe some wine glasses in the room and real coffee mugs. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

If I was just staying the night, it would be a decent place - clean rooms, new building amenities and the rest; but I wasn't. I had booked the meeting room for 20 and found that the room was essentially fixes as a board room with 10 chairs and no projection facilities. The staff are well meaning, and housekeeping is as good as anywhere else I've seen, but front desk (and the assistant manager) need to step up their game if they intend to host anything but the most basic meetings. Breakfast in the morning is provided, but the refresh seems to vary by staff member. There is no restaurant attached to the building, so you are limited to McDonalds and Tim Hortons as walkable options.

cleanest hotel in peace river staff is awesome. and haven't seen a bathroom so clean. breakfast food so yummy. needs a a french toast for the lil ones. has a sauna and a hot tub. even a few rooms with wicked Jacuzzi

This was a first class hotel and the room was very comfortable. The staff there were very helpful and the free breakfast provided was excellent. We had a good view of Peace River from our room and in the morning we watched the morning fog roll in along the river...it didn't last long.

Very clean new property right in the new area of town. Nice breakfast included. Cheapest property on expedia. Would recommend and use again. Fridge in room and opening window which I always enjoy. Lots of free parking.

There are a group of us continuing further education and come to Peace River every second weekend. The hotel is in walking distance from the school and made every effort to make us comfortable. They are also looking at a lower rate as we will be there for 2 years.
