Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas

This place has everything that you could want. We love the entire outside area with the pool, the tiki bar/restaurant and beach. You don't really even need to leave the resort except to go to the store. They just need to update and renovate the units. The units need some serious TLC

The location and staff were terrific, but the resort itself was not up to the RCI Gold Crown standards I have enjoyed in the past 10 years. The facility is in need a a refresh. The lobby is dull and drab, and the carpeting and, while the colors on the walls and carpets are nice, they don't match or complement one another. The overall atmosphere is one of a senior living environment. Only soap is provided in the apartments; no body lotion, shampoo or conditioner to hold one over for the first night. Those items ARE available at the welcome desk, but you just have to know to ask for them. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best. On our first night, we ordered a Caesar salad and Rib-Eye steak with a baked potato and green beans. We were given a mixed green salad with slimy vegetables as our salad; the restaurant had run out of romaine lettuce. There were no more baked potatoes or green beans, so we were given potato wedges and zucchini squash instead. We were not given a choice; these items were foisted on us. Our breakfast biscuits and pancakes were lukewarm at best such that butter did not melt on them. The entertainers at the restaurant on Thursday and Tuesday night were loud and awful. The keyboardist played well enough, as did the guitarist, but neither of them could stay on pitch. The daytime entertainers pool side were quite good. As for the pool, half of the palm trees appear to be dying. More than 50% of the fronds are dried up and look as though they will fall off any minutes. It is NOT a pretty look. There are no umbrellas anywhere to rent or use to shield one from the sun. If you don't find a shady spot, you will broil. Also, the water in the hot tub foamed up like a bubble bath. People brought in food and drink to the hot tub, in spite of signs forbidding those items. No one reinforced those regulations as far as we saw. Dirty towels were left overnight in the hot tub area as well as on the lounge chairs. Again, not a nice poolside view. Rip tides make for dangerous conditions in the ocean. No life guards are on duty. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are fine, albeit a bit worn looking. We were told that the hotel was recently renovated --- in 1999! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one needs to make a meal, except for cabinet space to store food. We had to rearrange the dishes to make room for our non-perishable groceries. The water in our bath tub had a yellow/greenish tint to it. It was the same in all the sink basins. It smelled and tasted fishy. We bought bottled water and did not drink the hotel water at all. Once we used our own water, the coffee we made in our room tasted just fine. The AC in our room cooled us down, but the blower was so loud that we couldn't hear one another. An engineer came to the room and explained that the AC units are 35 years old and replacement parts are no longer available. As such, the owners put in equipment that is too large for the space, resulting in the truck engine sounds we had to accept throughout our stay. We participated in the RCI Sales pitch to buy into this resort. The sales lady was very nice, but downplayed the above noted concerns. She told us how lucky we were to find a resort in the Palm Beaches at such a reasonable price. Had this been a Silver Crown resort or less, I would agree with her. I have never encountered any of the above issues at other RCI Gold Crown Resorts, in spite of the professional photos suggesting otherwise.

Lots of character and friendly people at Big Pink. Employees seem happy and work hard to please. Pool and hot tub clean and working well. Everything we had at the restaurant was very good. The building is old but kept up pretty well. Beach was excellent and so nice to have a waiter back on the beach bringing drinks and food. Dali worked hard and was very friendly! Great place to stay!

We are posting this as a warning to stay away from this company. We are owners with them and we have had a terrible nightmare of an experience. We paid thousands of dollars to this company and we have never received what we were promised in return. We were told this would be an easy cheap way to vacation. The reality is this ownership is much more complicated and very expensive. It's way more than just booking a vacation and we are now stuck in a horrible position. We can no longer maintain the rising yearly fees of this ownership; however, this company has given us no tangible options to exit our contract even with a hardship. We have not been able to sell this on our own as there is no real market for timeshare re-sells. The only other option they have given us is to provide confidential tax information to them so we can possibly qualify for an exit. We have repeatedly told them we do not feel comfortable supplying this information multiple times. If this was going to be the reality of getting out of this ownership, we should have been told this before we made this purchase because we asked many questions. We still have been given no real assistance or answered questions by this company. Due to our horrible experience, we deserve to have our contract with them terminated immediately. We loved our stay here! Clean and spacious 1 bedroom. We had everything we needed. We had an issue with the slider door lock breaking, and the resort repaired this in less than 30 minutes. Concierge during the weekday was very helpful: she gave me information on several places nearby to play pickleball! Loved all the restaurants nearby: food was amazing, especially the fresh seafood. So much to do in the area.

Resort service was very good and cooperative. Some minor maintenance issues were handled in a timely and effective manner that helped minimize the inconvenience. The restaurant on premise has good food with a daily special worth considering.

Depending on your room location your review will be different. We were on the 2nd floor but overlooked the pool. We enjoyed the resort. and view. From my perspective I give this resort 3 1/2 stars out of 5. If you overlooked the parking lot, you may definitely have a different rating.

Booked a 2 bedroom and was promised a balcony. Upon arrival we were assigned room 651 ( only room on resort without a balcony)! Dead bugs were found in the dated room. Multiple broken items and a loud with a ventilation system above us. I would not recommend this resort

This is a beautiful resort on a quiet island in Florida--Singer Island. We stayed in a one bedroom unit (for two weeks) facing the pool and had a view of the ocean. Spectacular. They a number of activities during the week, including water aeorbics. Chairs go quickly at the pool so you need to arrive early. You cannot simply put your towel down--they do monitor it very closely and will take your towel off the lounge chair if you are gone for more than 30 minutes. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella at the beach through their website. I thought it was worth the money. After reading the reviews on this site, I did not take tour that promised a free breakfast and a restaurant git card. It is not mandatory for owners. So, I cannot comment on that. I used the gym and the laundry facilities. Both provided everything I needed. This timeshare is more like a very nice hotel. Someone came every day to drop off fresh towels and empty our trash. The room was cleaned twice each week we were there. They have valets at the front door to help you with your luggage. Their customer service is the very best. Every employee was pleasant and helpful to us. We own two weeks at this resort --which we typically trade--but have decided not to in the future. We will be back.

I enjoyed my self and I'll be back front desk and room and house service was good . Not bad!!! Restaurant food was great. Please try the wings ! I'll be back later this year to revisit. View was ok and beach access was great

People, both staff and visitors were lovely, worked very hard to keep things clean, had very good food and entertainment in the restaurant. Location on the beach is great. Ocean water was warm and clean,

Found the unit we were assigned (and I am sure many more) need to be updated and have lots of repairs completed to bring it up to a Gold Crown Resort. Many appliances need replacing, cabinets need re-facing, items should be checked between each guest departure and arrival to make sure everything is in proper working order. Management would use some training in communicating with guests. Not on my list to visit again.

Very nice resort, suites are very spacious and comfortable, service is great all around, restaurant is terrific nice to have the option to eat there, entertainment every night, never sat by the pool, rented chairs on the beach, they should be free but they are not, parking is $10 a day for non owners. You can bring your own beach chairs but you have to sit off to the side a bit from the”rentals.” If you rent it is set up for you everyday with your name on a flag, usually the same spot which is nice, but with tip and tax it was $265 for the week. Palm beach shores is a super cute little community on singer island great for walking, running and biking. Lots of other restaurants within walking distance

We arrived on Saturday afternoon. Check in was easy. Our room was not what we expected. It overlooked. the parking lot and a rundown apartment complex. We requested an ocean view or pool view room. Went back down to the front desk and asked to get a better room. We were told to check back on Monday. Checked back on Monday and was told to come back in the afternoon to see what was available. Came back later and was told they would call us when they had finished cleaning. They called around 4pm. We packed everything up and moved to our new room. You had to go out on the balcony to see the ocean. Once we got everything unpacked and put away we sat down on the sofa to watch tv and noticed the furniture smelled like an ashtray. The rooms at the resort were all nonsmoking. Went back down to the front desk to complain and was told they didn't have any other rooms available. Went to the store and got some spray to spray the furniture. The resort is very outdated. It definitely needs to be upgraded. Everything else at the resort was great, restaurant, pool, tiki bar. The beach was nice but there were a lot of jelly fish so you weren't able to go in the ocean.

We stayed at the resort for 5 weeks beginning Feb 5th 2024. The checkin was smooth and from the very beginning we were provided with all the help needed. We were happy with our suite and it's location. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. The staff were exceptional and that made our time more special. All in all we felt at home. We have already booked our weeks for next year because of the exceptional experience.

Everything is within walking distance or is within 5 - 10 miles driving distance. Pool has daily activities for both adults and children and beach is within a short walk across a walkway. There is a TIKI Bar and restaurant at the pool location for any refreshments.

The Palm Beach Shores Resort is a very comfortable place to stay. We had not been here in several years and were happy to be back for a shory visit. They have a great beach, pool with Tiki Bar, as well as a sit down restaurant with entertainment. We saw many locals coming to dinner at the restaurant as well as guests. That told me that it must be pretty good. The local area is great for walking or biking. The Sailfish Marina had a wonderful restaurant and Tiki Bar just a short walk from the resort. The units are a bit small but have all the amenities covered. Bring some extra cash if you will be needing the Valet or Bell services.

Pool, hot tub, beautiful blue ocean water, private beach with drink service, poolside Tiki Bar, on-site Restaurant with GREAT food, entertainment, friendly efficient staff, clean, private parking or valet, walk to other restaurants etc. (small-medium size kitchen), Large bathroom!

I usually have family & grandchildren come visit and stay with me during the holiday seasons and everyone raves what a great resort this is… keep up the great work !! I certainly would recommend this great resort to anyone looking for the complete resort experience.they even have a restaurant and the food is fantastic

The location was great! The beach was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were perfect. The restaurant on site had great food, music and dancing each night. It was a very clam, and quiet environment. We LOVED it!

Make sure you unit is not near a elevator or the kitchen exhaust fans. Did not like the small cages for the animals. close to the beach, bit not all units can see the ocean. Lower the beach chair rental fees

Rooms reserved for RCI members outside the Palm Beach Resort (Vacation Village) area receive poor quality. If you have to book at this resort. To be very careful, avoid rooms 223 & 221 they are located directly above the central ventilation system of the Resort. The noise is terrible and you won't sleep. We haven't slept well all week. But the staff was very kind and professional.

This is now our home resort, the staff are friendly and responsive. The location is priceless, and having a beach, pool, outdoor bar and entertainment is why we go there. The inside restaurant is such a plus, and there is nightly specials and entertainment..These are no spacious, it is a converted suite hotel with kitchenette. But you are on the BEACH, in a cozy area on Singer Island with access to a lot of activities, close and far.

Pros: -They let us checkin 2 hours early. And checkout 1 hour late. -Nice big clean suite. -Walk to the beach. -HH Drinks at the tiki hut. -Glass, aluminum, plastic bottle Recycling. Cons: -Each day we picked up 2 bags of trash on the beach. Plastic bottle caps, straws, shoes, plastics, toothbrushes, etc. -Plastic & styrofoam cups at the bar. They need to use compostable cups & straws. -Exotic birds Macaw & Turaco in cages all alone. An exotic squirrel all alone in a cage too. Called bird rescue to report but they said if they are fed & sheltered there's nothing to do about it if it's on private property. -We got bumped from the ocean view room we reserved. I'm guessing that the timeshare owners have priority.

This is my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ place to go, usually 2 weeks every October/November, can't say enough great things about the place…accommodations, food, Tiki Hut with Lisa and Ryan and …….Patsy, Kim !! Heather and Cody at the pool and Erica @ the beach ! Hardly ever leave the place as everything we need is there our walking distance ❤️

Our first visiting but not our last time. The location is great and the resort staffs are all friendly and attentive can be. Don't need a rental car unless you like ti venture out. I loved that everyplace I visited was within 15 minutes drive..

Returning here always feels like checking into a high-end resort. With all amenities. The beach the resort and the staff are wonderful. Everyone here even guest are all friendly. Singer Island feels like and has been a safe Island for walks and bike riding. Walking around the Island everyone greets everyone, its that kind of place.

Palm Beach Shores resort is one of our favorites. We continue to return here year after year. The rooms are wonderful and the beds can't be beat. Being on Singer Island is special. Walking distance to several restaurants and some shopping.

The staff were amazing, the food was good. The resort is old musty smelling. There are no umbrellas around the pool. They don't have them. To use the beach you must rent chairs and umbrellas $40 a day...if you buy your own, you aren't allowed to sit in front of the resort you must walk down the beach in designated areas likev2nd class citizens.

Nice resort.. needs updating but still nice. No washer/dryer in unit. Looks like there was on at one time. Now it cost you $4 and it didn't dry my clothes. The pool is nice but busy so, you need to get down there to get a chair. The music at the pool is very loud. We could hear it in our unit and we weren't even close to the pool. The beach is very nice. But if you bring your own chair and umbrella, you are told you have to sit in the public area. It isn't too far but just a little unfair considering you are paying for the resort. There is a tiki bar and restaurant. We felt the restaurant offsite were better. Overall, a fun vacation.

This place is in serious need of a renovation. The unit was small with some serious cleaning needs. There is mold in the bathroom and some serious filth/dust/dirt issues. The sliding glass door is VERY difficult to move, even after they came to “fix” it. An electrical outlet was missing the cover plate, a kitchen drawer is literally falling apart. There are too many ridiculous rules such as not being able to use a luggage cart to move in or out. A porter must be used, which means you need to tip them. There is no shade at the pool and no umbrellas, yet you cannot use your own umbrella and there are none for rent at the pool. On the beach you still can't use your own umbrella. They want you to rent one or two of theirs. It seemed like we were constantly being told we couldn't do something.

The staff is extremely attentive, helpful and always smiling. Regardless of our request, it was handled with pleasantness. Super location, good restaurant and immaculate resorts. Ocean, Turtles, Pool! All so inviting.

Other than how rude the RCI people were it was a nice vacation. The management of RCi was rude and downright mean. All the resort people were very very kind and nice. We loved our stay except for the Monday timeshare appointment.

Palm Beach Shores Resort is like a nice boutique resort, small but offers so much. When sitting around the pool, staff will come around and offer you ice cold towels to cool you down. Bar staff will bring you drinks and food to where you are sitting at the pool. There are plenty of activities at the resort. There is a restaurant and bar on site on plenty of restaurants to walk to. One thing I wish the resort would provide is a couple of grocery carts on site so you could load up you bought groceries and easily take them up to your room and then return the cart so others can use.

Location is great. Valet and check in clunky. Unit is dated and some beds need new mattress. Pool , beach onsite bar ( Sydney and Josh Rock ) Nightly music was good. Unit was clean and all staff GREAT.

Great Location. Love the Units. Very big and Spacious. 1 Bedroom is easily big enough to accomodate 4 people. NIghtly Entertainment in the Restaurant is Awesome! Staff always cleaning and friendly. Will Come Back!

While this facility does have resort in its name, I would put it much closer to a hotel then a resort. You will probably find this evident the most is in the rooms. Outside of a new piece of furniture here and there, not much has changed in the last decade. I sit on the same green sleeper sofa, looking at the same table and chairs, kitchen layout and everything else, but has very noticeable dating to them. Every single door in every single room I have ever stayed in, is incredibly loud and creaky, with some handles that are mismatched or some that only open by turning in one direction. The plate for the AC unit has visibly separated from the wall, showing think dust, so who knows when that was serviced last. You will also find a large amount of dust behind the dresser where you would plug your phone or devices in. Despite all of the visible flaws easily seen, I find it quite puzzling where they choose to save money. Each room has a full fridge/freezer in it, of which we are very appreciative. They could easily save money if they change that to a smaller fridge or mini fridge. But instead they choose to save money on things, like the paper towel holder, which is the separated, flimsy plastic version that drops the role when you attempt to use it. From rust on appliances and screws, to mismatched touchup paint jobs, the unspoken thing is they do not care enough to make sure things look "themed" or service things enough so that you wont get Tetanus. This is a time share "resort" (don't do it) and when checking in a staffer told us "Don't forget, you haven't done an owners breakfast since 2012." And the only thought that has rang true then and now is "Why would we?" All in all, this feels more so of putting lipstick on a pig instead of opting for the full makeover this has needed for 10 years. This is a fine place to stay, but hotels take better care of their property. Do not pay full price and you can sleep easier.

This is not for everyone, very focused on Senior members, extremely limited access if not senior. They charge $10 a day for parking which is unheard of for a resort. Had i known it wasn't for everyone i wouldn't have gone. Not a good time for us.

Great resort....restaurant has nightly entertainment and excellent food. The tiki bar has a great atmosphere by the pool. The staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond. Their onsite beach is beautiful. The rooms were clean, and there are other restaurants and bars within walking distance and a few shops.

Nice small resort on the ocean. They are upgrading all the rooms, carpets, furniture,kitchens. Enjoyed the pool with daily games and music. Tiki bar had great food and drinks. The Islander Grill resturant was very good and has nightly entertainment. We enjoyed our stay there. Will be going back next year.

Had a great time. The staff and front desk are helpful - beware of the time share purchase pressure - the units are extremely outdated and need an update. The on site restaurant is very good. Beach is excellent.

Palm Beach Shores Resort is in a fantastic location. It is located right on the beach and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They frequently have live music for your enjoyment.

Palm Beach Shores is one of our favorite vacation destinations. We cruise several times per year and we own a timeshare on Grand Bahama Island, but we look forward to every visit to our Palm Shores timeshare because it is so relaxing and so beautiful. The rooms are big, the private beach is beautiful, the onsite restaurant is excellent, and the resort staff are first rate. This was our second visit for the year to Palm Shores and we have already booked a return visit.

We had an excellent time at Palm Beach Shores Resort. We enjoyed the live music by the pool and the live music in the restaurant every night of the week. The staff was super friendly. We cannot recommend PBSR enough. This time we brought some family with us and had a connecting room. It was fabulous.

My wife and I truly enjoyed celebrating our 39th anniversary at Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas. The views were breathtaking from our balcony. The service and hospitality was truly heartfelt and genuine. The entertainment at the on-site restaurant was incredible. We would highly recommend spending your vacation at Palm Beach Shores.

This is an older property, but it is perfectly maintained. Staff are excellent. Location is terrific. Guests skew older (although there were some young parents with tots). Overall, great for couples and families; less likely a hit for singles seeking and the glitzy nightlife crowd. Some might call it the best of old-school.

This resort shouldn't be rated as a Gold Clrown resort. The resort rooms need updating and some cleaning. The furniture and appliances are old. There are very few electrical outlets in the rooms. The resort offers valet parking, but the valet parking spaces are closest to the entrance. If you don't valet park you need to walk to the side of the building. This is backwards from any other resort I ever visited.

Excellent place to enjoy a vacation get away. The grounds are clean, well taken care of. The living spaces are big,clean and comfortable. The king size bed is very comfortable. This resort is self contained. There is a Tiki bar at the pool and a restaurant inside open fro 8 am to 10 pm with a menu to please everyone. The prices are very reasonable and the food is full of flavor. The wait staff is there to help you with any request. The managers are available and make sure you are taken care of. We have been here a few times and will be back as often as we can. If you want to venture out there are quite a few restaurants within about 1 short block from the resort in a strip type plaza. You will not regret your stay here. It is a vacation you will Enjoy!

Palm Beach Shore Resort was a great place to just relax with family. The location was perfect. Its close to restaurants and stores. It's a very short walk to the pristine blue/green beach. We felt safe to let our teenage girls roam around the resort by themselves while my husband and I relaxed by the pool/beach/jacuzzi. Ryan the bartender by the poor was very attentive and always make sure we have all we need while we're by the poolside. Everyone in the resort was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.

The Resort is beautiful. The workers are extremely friendly and was always working to keep it clean. The pool was always clean and warm. Tiki Bar was great the Bartenders all great only downfall is the cups are small for the prices and they put a tip on before you can actually tip them. Really close to the ocean so that was amazing. Even thou you are a member they pressure you to do more and don't like to hear no Then they give you a meal voucher and you get a totally different menu So that part upset me cause I'm a member and that part made me upset. Confident location for some shopping really good restaurant around the resort.Snorkeling is advertised at the hotel and I would recommend to do that it was absolutely beautiful. There is a pet Macaw here and he is beautiful and friendly says Good Morning everyday. And a lot or Iguana which is actually cool. ……………………………………………………..,,,..,..,…………………….

We had an exchange RCI week in August 2023. This resort has become our favorite because it has a good balance of relaxation and entertainment. Great food at their restaurant and there is another 5 restaurants a few hundred feet away. It is on the beach, but the pool area steals the show.

Snorkeling / beach walks and playing in the surf, trail walks and feeding the fish/deep sea fishing / fun pool. Side games or relaxing . This place truly had everything at your finger tips . Recommend this place to every age group

We love it here. Very laid back. Everything is here you could need. Staff is awesome - call the desk for anything and it is taken care of. Love our check in - swift and professional. Islander restaurant has music every night, their food is delish (never disappointed) staff is great, prices are reasonable. Pool is beautiful although this trip the chlorine was a bit strong. Day Spa is great - thank you Lynn, Lisa and Shirley. Can't wait to come back next June. I will bring my own pillow next trip though.

Great location, pool was clean and not overly crowded plenty of chairs. Room was dated but clean, we got towel service daily and the on-site restaurant was good with live entertainment. We had a great time, plenty to do in the area, can walk to several restaurants/ bars. Marina is close with a good restaurant and vendor show on Thursday night. Peanut island a short ferry ride away was good snorkeling and between West Palm Beach, Jupiter Island and PGA Blvd. plenty of options for ding and things to do. We will be going back in December and in 2024.

The beach and ocean were wonderful. The water was the calmest I can remember. We enjoyed the mid week cleaning. I don't know of any other resort that does this. Also the dropping off of towels and removing trash on other days is great. We prefer to move our own luggage and was disappointed not to have carts available. We dined at the restaurant on site 3 times during our stay. Every meal was tasty. The resort is located right on the beach. We brought our own beach chairs so did not need to rent anything.

Right on the beach, can't get any closer to public park/beach and little shop mall with restaurants. The only downside is that the pool was hot with no shade. Bathrooms are huge but a little outdated.

I love everything about this resort. I've been going here since 2007. The staff is friendly. The pool and beach are great and the staff are amazing. I can't forget about Lisa. She's a poolside attendant and a bartender. Make sure you say hi to her. She's so good with the guests and always has a smile on her face.

These employees go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. You really feel good when they recognize you on return visits. From doormen to pool attendants and everyone in between is no less that great. Thank you all for great vacations.

We were a group of 4 ladies celebrating 50th birthday in this beautiful place. We've decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Is the place outdated? Probably but this is nothing compared to the beauty, quality of service and cleanliness this place offers. Everyone was kind and courteous throughout our stay. The beach is very private with beautiful warm and cristal clear waters. The pool was amazing and the pool bar and restaurant very well maintained. We definitively will come back with our families.

This was a very relaxing beach vacation. Just what we needed in our lives at this time. We rented chairs and umbrella from the beach service, hit the beach everyday after breakfast and just relaxed. We would comb the beach for shells and relax some more. Staff was helpful and courteous. We have stayed at Palm Beach Shores many times and it has always met our expectations.

We stayed here the first week of August for our annual Anniversary getaway. This is well maintained, older resort with great amenities and excellent customer service. It is right on the beach! The pool and tiki bar are excellent. They have activities every day for kids and adults. Even though this was a couples vacation, we did not mind the kids everywhere. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The Isander Grill is an onsite restaurant with suprisingly good food, reasonable prices, nice entertainment and major convenience. We enjoyed burgers, lobster, steaks and shrimp. The pizza looked better than it tasted but I am sure that is due to our preference for sauce on our pizza. Tiki bar offers drinks by the pool, happy hour and outstanding wait staff. There is a high emphasis on customer service which makes for a pleasurable stay. We stayed in a 1 BR with kitchen in 318. Our balcony overlooked the parking lot but the distance to the beach totally makes up for it. Beds, pillows and linens are good. Amazing towels delivered fresh everyday which was unexpected! Couch was comfortable despite being a sofa bed. There is a kitchen island with attached 3 chair dining table. It is an open floor plan for living-dining-kitchen. There is a mini dishwasher, 2-burner cooktop with all the cooking pans and utensils, apt sized frig, and convection microwave. We had everything we needed except I no experencie with the convection microwave and just gave up trying to use it. We had a TV in the living and bedroom. Both are 46-50 inch and worked great. Wifi was good. Water takes a bit to heat up and the drains are a little slow but it happens at older resorts on the beach. AC was outstanding considering humid Florida temps! The only thing we missed was the W/D but we just brought more clothes this trip! Private beach was really nice. Water is the clearest I have seen. We could still see our feet in 5 ft water! The waves were only really heavy one day out of 7 which made for a nice, relaxing stay. This is a difficult beach to walk on because the sand is really loose. The beach area is well maintained and the service by Loggerhead is top notch. They rake the seaweed (if any) and strategically place the chairs based on the tide. I witnessed them help several people with disabilities to their chairs with a ATV and they automatically returned to help them at a designated time or storms brewed up. The mesh loungers are very comfortable, lay all the way flat and umbrellas in excellent condition. We took many naps on the beach which is one of my favorite things in the world. No concerns with non-rentals setting up in front of you like other resorts. Well worth the rental. fees plus if you goto the website, you can book ahead of your trip and pick your location. We witnessed sea turtles hatch which was a once in a lifetime event. Recommend bringing a trash sack for your beach trash because the trash cans are at the entrance only. Overall, this is a very nice resort. I would recommend to couples and families alike and plan to return to this resort.

Great resort. We have returned here many times. However our most recent trip was completely ruined by the parking staff after a particular individual becaume very rude and aggressive with my 22 year old son when he was trying to drop off gear at the resort. She even started yelling at him and threatened to call the cops after we did exactly what the front desk informed us to do. We will no longer return to this resort after more than 6 trips here. My wife would not come and go from the resort by herself because she was afraid of being verbally attacked by the parking staff. Very unfortunate. Manager of the resort was not available to attempt to address.

We have stayed at Palm Beach Shores on Singer Island several times and have always had a wonderful vacation! The units are clean, service attendants and front desk were accommodating. The pool/ hot tub/ lounge chairs were wonderful! The Tiki bar/food service was great! The restaurant and entertainment was also great! Having direct access to the beach was beautiful! We also liked having several restaurants with entertainment within a short walking distance. I would rather have a unit above second floor, without a walled in balcony.

Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the staff replaced our towels every day! Although the decor is a little dated everything was in good shape, but could still use an update. Bed was comfy - but a little bouncy when hubby turned over! Our 2nd floor view was disappointing as we viewed the parking lot - but if you looked to your far left you could see a little triangle piece of the ocean. The kitchen was tiny - only a 2 burner stove - so we didn't end up cooking in the room - although they had everything available (cookware, dinnerware, even a tea kettle!) There was a large noise every afternoon which made it sound like the dishwasher was going to explode - something going on in the pipes! And we didn't even run the dishwasher! The restaurant (Islander Grill & Tiki bar) downstairs was wonderful - prices from like 1995! Really! Very reasonable! i had lobster 2 nights in a row - as they had it on special for $39!! 1 1/2 pound whole lobster!! They also have great entertainment at night. We did go to other restaurants around there - Sailfish Marina was really good. Frigates was good. Guanabanas was about 25 minute drive, drinks were good and food was pretty good, but pricey. Ice cream across and down the street in the strip center had good and reasonable priced ice cream. Several restaurants and bars are in that strip - nice to have it close - but we didn't eat dinner at any of them. Pool area is nice and fun - they have music and live entertainment in the afternoon. Beach is right behind the pool down the wooden deck. Sand is very soft and white and the ocean water was very clear and warm! We also enjoyed visiting the Norton Museum of Art, Flagler Museum (stunning!) and Mounts Botanical Gardens.

Beautiful resort on the ocean! Excellent facility, Staff, Pool, Cleanliness. There is the ISLANDER RESTAURANT With Excellent Menu AND LIVE MUSI C AND Different SINGERS EVERY NIGHT with 50's, 60's, 70's, 80,' music and singing. Great!!

Great location situated right on the beach. The ocean is beautiful, and the beach is private for guests of the resort. Housekeeping checked if we needed new towels almost every day and the staff genuinely seemed happy to be a part of your vacation.

This resort is conveniently located directly on the beach, beautiful swimming pool with Tiki bar. Restaurant on site has very good food at a reasonable price. Walking distance to restaurants and some shops. Staff is very helpful also.

We spent a week at the Palm Beach Shores Resort. Our experience included excellent tasty meals& top shelf entertainment. We enjoyed “Essence of Motown” and “Magic Moments” —live entertainment that took us back to the sixties and beyond. We were able to dance, to sing and to meet friendly charming people—many of whom we'll continue to keep in touch with. We had beautiful rooms with excellent views. We could sit on the deck & experience all that went on outside…music, pool activities…ocean waves. Tha beach staff took excellent care of us. Friendly service, great location on beach & personalized care when we needed it. Jenny was especially helpful & friendly. The food we enjoyed was delicious! I'm vegetarian but I also eat fish. I was able to find many good dishes that satisfied my lifestyle: fried cauliflower, salmon Caesar salad, calzone and more. All tasty, appetizing & not too much salt!!! (This tends to be a problem in processed food & many restaurant prepared foods for me.) The front desk folks were knowledgeable & helpful. The bellmen got us & our vehicles where we needed to be. Great experience!!

Very clean, private beach so it wasnt very crowded. Resort was perfect. Bed wasnt very comfortable and we had to turn the air down as far as we could so the bedroom was somewhat cool. The living area was always nice and cold!

Great resort on beach. Units are a little dated. Tiki bar is awesome as well as the staff there--Lisa, Ryan, Sydney--all do a terrific job!! Amenities include fitness center, spa, store, restaurant with live music all on site. Never have to leave the resort. Watersports and sunset cruises nearby.

Everything was fine with the exception of them charging $10 per day for parking. Stayed for one week and only had a rental car for four days but was still charged for the full week.. The only explanation I was given was that's their policy which made no sense.

We've been going there for 12 years straight & absolutely love it!!! The staff in every area go above & beyond to make certain you have a great vacation!!! Live entertainment, excellent food, private beach & overall wonderful location in walking distance to many restaurants & shops!

resort is lovely, needs updating in the rooms. beach is WONDERFUL. very clean, very clean water. restaurant and tiki bar on the property is a plus. pool towels at the pool is a plus. plenty of children activities to keep all occupied.

The resort is clean, staff was friendly, there is a restaurant and a Tiki bar on site, and most of all, the resort is right on the beach. Other restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Have been going to PBSR for years and this was my third visits in the last year. Previous ones have been Feb/Mar (primarily), Sep/Oct, and now this first time for June/July (including Independence Day - great fireworks from town a short walk away). Staff is always EXCELLENT and greet my wife and I by name, and Darryl the daytime pool musician remembers our wedding song and plays it a few times so we can dance again at the pool. Have travelled the world and seen many great places but this site is a gem - we expect to make many more memories there. Go and see!

Overall, it was a very nice resort. Had trouble checking out though. Extra charges that were not stated upfront. I spoke to the manager ( Ulrike kale) and she just could care less. Be cautious before signing anything at ck in. I was told parking would be $50 for each car for the week but that turned into $70 for each car for the week.

The Palm Beach Resort has everything we want, Beach, Pool, Restaurant and Nightly Entertainment. That's why we return year after year. The staff, and management is always polite and helpful. During the months when the snow birds show up, it tends to be an older crowd.

People nice We have been going there for years. Staff is terrific. Need to bring back the Bagle breakfast. More trivia Water aeobics wonder. Should have water aerobis almost every day Toilets are a litle short and showers could be bigger.

Couldn't have asked for a better week away. Older resort but very well kept and every single staff member from the front door to the housekeeping staff, waitstaff and bartenders, to spa and management are top notch! Thank you for another perfect stay!

The Palm Beach Resort is great, door to door service. The beach is just footsteps from the Resort. The staff are courteous and very helpful. They have valet service, staff open the doors for you, take your luggage from the vehicle to the room, and when you check out they do it again. You are waited on hand and foot. The on sight Restaurant has great food, entertainment every night. The town of West Palm Beach is unbelievable. So for your next vacation try this resort.

Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas...Perfect vacation spot! Resort is clean, staff is kind and helpful! The Resort has excellent food and entertainment! Location is perfect, especially traveling from Pittsburgh, PA! We'll be back soon!

We came with high hopes for an RCI Gold Crown Resort. The building looked great from the outside and the smallish pool for the number of guests that the building holds was difficult to find a chair to sit near. Beach furniture was pay by the hour, parking was mostly Valet so it was hard to find a space to park and even that was $10 per day. Restaurant, was good but not owned by the Resort.

There is good and not so good about the resort. The location and staff are wonderful. The resort is on a beautiful beach and many rooms have an ocean view. There were ample chairs around the pool. Pool is large. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They responded quickly to issues. Restaurant was good. As other have noted, the resort is extremely dated. Some things work and some don't. The air conditioning was iffy - sometimes it cycled on with cool air other times just air. It also was loud. There is one pay washer and dryer on each floor. The washer on our floor was out for half the week we were there. Faucets were dripping and toilet was running in our bathroom. Dishwasher did a poor job of cleaning the dishes. Bathroom sinks were scratched and dinged up.

We just returned from here. This resort is fantastic! They have everything you need either on the resort or a block away. Many restaurants next door to the resort but the restaurant in the resort is great! Special deals each day with live entertainment every night (Thursday is lobster night not to be missed). We rented a car but we really didn't need to. The staff was very friendly and always welcoming. We requested a room on an upper floor that had a view of the pool and the beach. We knew it wasn't guaranteed but we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door of our room and had a beautiful view of the ocean framed by palm trees. Would definitely go again!

This was a converted sweet hotel. Some of the appliances and fixtures are older and have their own limitations. But it is a gem of an area with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. He's also a beautiful walkway to get to the Open Water between our Island and palm beach.

We own at PBS and this year we also rented two additional units. Overall the units had broken or non working appliances and furniture. Sliding door frames were broken and wouldn't close all the way. Sad stay

My annual 3-4 week getaway to Florida is always spent at the wonderful PBS Resort and Villas. I think this was at least my 20th stay, what a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Florida. The staff -- in every department -- are warm, friendly, helpful in every respect, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that a guest's stay is nothing short of terrific. It's right on the beach, the pool and Tiki Bar are terrific, the rooms are clean and very spacious (with all sorts of amenities in each room, including a large refrigerator, convection/microwave oven, and all the utensils/pots/pans that one needs to cook meals in the room). I could go on, but needless to say, it is well worth a stay there, and definitely gives you bang for your buck.

We can walk everywhere and the beach is steps away! It is clean and maintained very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always enjoy the room but the convenience to stores, restaurants and beach is the best.

This was the second year that we stayed at the Palm Beach Shores resort. We loved the location, the staff is excellent, and the housekeeping was exceptional. The resort is located on the beach and the access to the beach is so easy directly from the pool area which also has an outdoor bar. The restaurant is also very good. There is a strip of shops next door which has a few good restaurants some with live music. Also has great nail salon, good beach clothing/provisions store and convenience store for some basics. The resort is a little outdated, not fancy, but the location and service more than make up for it.

Palm Beach Shores has become our new tradition for Singer Island visits during the holidays. We chose this lovely beach location to be near my boyfriend's family and we inadvertently discovered our little paradise. Beach, pool, friendly staff, spacious quarters. The only downside is having to leave. Remember to give love to Kokamo and Frasier in the bird cage. They are beautiful, entertaining rascals.

The staff is very friendly and housekeeping is very good to give fresh towels each day. The resort and rooms are outdated and worn out. It was not comfortable to hang out in the room. The restaurant was not good, although the staff was nice. The pool bar was not very friendly. Pool towels are small like bath towels and they were always running out. The resort is in a great location, right off the beach and there are many good restaurants in the area. We would not stay here again.

We have been staying at this resort way back then, (since the 90's) this resort has gone through some changes over the years, they got rid of the kiddy pool, upgraded the pavers by the pool area, turn it into a boiler room for sales etc. Kitchen still put out good food, but when it comes to the rooms, it is showing its age in a bad way. it is still the same thirty year old kitchen, patio doors are the same, I know some units are being upgraded, but the process is way too slow, hope that we are getting out of this pandemic season might change the equation a bit. lets hope so.

Although it is not the resorts fault the weather was cold, however the cold days at Christmas time with no heat,was their fault. Although the property is allegedly in the tropics, they could of fore warned us to maybe bring out own small heater or could have purchased some as they knew their system does not have heat! .Room temp lowest was 63, cold floors..As a result, my spouse got sick and we had to leave 4 days early....What a way to spend Christmas....This experience alone ruined what could have been a great experience because the view was awesome.

Front desk staff was helpful and very pleasant. Our 1-bedroom with balcony had a view of the ocean and park and was quiet and very clean. Kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious bathroom was totally clean. We highly recommend the restaurant which had delicious food and quality entertainment every night. Pool was large with plenty of seating and towels. The beach was a few feet away with chaises and cabanas or umbrellas for rent either for 2-hour periods or for the full day. Hot tub was spacious and clean. Concierge was very pleasant and attentive. Valet parking is complimentary, but we chose to park ourselves on-site and space was never a problem. Good restaurant Johnny Longboat was diagonally across the street. We took a walk around the neighborhood and down to the end of the island. Lovely area. There is no shuttle from the airport to the resort so rent a car from Budget. They're the cheapest. Also, you would want a car to get around and see the different areas. We really enjoyed ourselves at this resort and hope to return next year!

We checked into our unit to find no heat! 59 degrees in our room was ridiculous- the heat did not work. When we called the front desk we were asked if we needed more blankets!!!??? The temperature was in the 40s & although cold for Florida, I find the “no heat issue”unacceptable from a resort with a Gold Crown rating. We were extremely disappointed in this resort & will not ever return.

Our two-week stay was spent laying by the pool, working out in the gym and taking in the sights. The Resort itself is very lovely and clean. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The rooms are spacious with a comfy bed. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful water views. The Islander Restaurant in the Resort serves great food. The superb location is only a short walk to the beach or short drive to nearby restaurants. We will definitely return.

Our rooms view was of the pool pumps/motors. Was noisy listening to the pumps run all the time. This was our 2nd time staying at this location and not sure I would book again due to getting 2 bad locations (last time we had a nice view of the parking lot and dumpsters). We were told to call ahead this time to make sure we got a good room, which we did and were told they noted it in the computer but when we arrived they claimed nothing was in the computer and they could not move us to another room Very disappointed in how they accommodated us since we were told we should have had a better room since we were owners at Parkway. Carol (the activities director) was amazing and made our vacation more pleasant.

We stayed here through an RCI exchange, Dec 10-17, 22, a Sat to Sat stay. We were given a 2nd floor room that looked over the roof of the restaurant, and a small corner of the pool. We asked about an upgrade and we're told we had to wait until Monday at noon before they knew if they would have any rooms available. Given most rooms were a Sat or Sun checkin and the hotel wasn't full this made no sense. We were woke up early Monday morning to what sounded like someone breaking into our room, but was actually the tile floor in the room directly above us being taken out! I preceded to call RCI who told me they had no other rooms at the hotel and to go see the manager to see if they could move us. I spoke with Nino Espinoza, front desk manager, and told him they put us in a room knowing construction was taken place above us and I spoke to RCI who told me to talk to a manager to see what could be done to resolve this issue as this a multi day construction project. Nino promptly gave me a key to a 5th floor in the other building to see if would work for us. This was a much nicer room with a view of the ocean. He was great about quickly resolving the situation to our satisfaction! The property is on a beautiful stretch of the ocean, but the rip tides and waves were so bad that you couldn't swim due to the dangerous conditions, We enjoyed walking the beach and watching the waves, The bar and restaurant were great, we enjoyed the entertainment and the food was reasonably priced for the area. The resort is very dated and in desperate need of updating, the toilets are the old very low style and not very accommodating to senior travelers, showers are tiny. The kitchen was stocked fairly well, no oven, a convection microwave and 2 burner cooktop. We only cooked breakfast and lunch. Convenient location to walk to several restaurants. The beds are hard and not comfortable and the sheets are horrible itchy and not soft at all! Not what we expect from a gold level property!,, We often stay at Fairfield or Hampton who have much nicer rooms, more up to date, comfort height toilets larger showers, comfortable beds and much softer sheets!!! We were called 4 days in a row telling us we needed to stop by the desk to attend a presentation and get our free gift, we had no interest in attending a time share presentation or in buying at this resort and had told them this on check in, we didn't appreciate the constant calls and notes slipped under our door.

The weather was lousy, but we still had a great time. Parking is a little tight, and at $10/night, not exactly cheap. The pool is a little small and oddly shaped, but not too bad if there aren't many folks in it. The beach is an easy walk from the resort. The only bummer is that the room thermostat didn't work right. It is in a great location in Palm Beach Shores. The view of the ocean from your room can be great, depending your room location. The building is a bit dated, but still quite nice. We would come back.

Had two meals a dinner and breakfast that were good. The resort which you have to walk thru to get to the restaurant was really well decorated for the Christmas season. We sat outside and enjoyed the surroundings that were decorated for Christmas. The dinner was good for the most part but the waiter had way to many tables and the service was fair at best. The breakfast was good but again the server was attentive to our table but was spread way to thin. Good Place to try when in Palm Beach Shores.

This continues to be our favorite vacation spot. The water and sand are gorgeous. The people are friendly that visit and work here. Every few days, a singer/songwriter plays at the pool in the afternoon. Food and drinks are good around the poolside.

The location on the beach can not be beat! Although the resort itself is old and in need of an update it can be overlooked because of the location. The staff were very accommodating. Restaurants all over the area, a few that are walkable as well.

Amazing time staying at The Palm Beach Shores Resort! Extremely friendly staff from the moment your greeted when you arrive to being out by the pool, Tiki Hut, Restaurant and Spa, I have to say we had so much fun from the Sunset Cruise, our Couples Massage….we rented the chairs and umbrella for two blissful days lounging on the beach, and the remaining time poolside! Extremely relaxing vacation, looking forward to coming back again!

The grounds and proximity to the beach are fine. The room itself was lacking in most modern amenities and was very small. The kitchen was a farce and the sink was about one foot square and only one sink.

I have been staying at this property every year since 2007. it is a wonderful property and Sherry Smith the GM is wonderful. She runs a nice property. Lisa at the pool an Tiki Bar is WONDERFUL. The pool has too many rules. One is no floatation devices except for children. They sell foam noodles at the Pool hut that you can use at the pool. I asked the pool attendant if I could use my own noodle at the pool instead of buying theirs. she said this was fine. When I was using my noodle she came over, in front of the entire pool crowd, and said I had to take my noodle out of the pool as they do not allow adult floatation devices. I questioned her as she had just said I could use my noodle at the pool. She said because my noodle as 'inflatable' and not 'foam' I couldn't use it at the pool. When I questions why she simply stated in a very snotty tone " I don't make the rules I just enforces them.'

Terrible place. run down and ugly place in the middle of nowhere. one run down elevator with a broken elevator for the entire complex. Unacceptable. Fire alarm in the middle of the night. dissatisfied.

Beautiful ocean view,from our 4th floor suite. We enjoyed the Florida sun from both the beach and pool chairs. Great staff at all levels: friendly and attentive during our entire stay, even at 3 am. During our first night, the fire alarm started chirping every 2 minutes. We could not disable it or fix it, so the night manager gave us a nearby suite to allow us a quality sleep. The maintenance person fixed the problem by 9 am, and we were pretty well rested.

Another perfectly wonderful stay at this resort! The location is beautiful and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have stayed here several times and always look forward to another chance to visit.

The resort itself is outdated. I had booked a room with two doubles and was given a king. When I called the front desk to get another room, they told me there was nothing available. The room was old and musty. The carpets were also stained and the furniture was old. We went down and immediately checked out. They appeared to have no concern over their mistake of giving us the wrong beds or could care less that we were unhappy.

We were treated like valued guests from the time we arrived til we departed. Even valet staff to open a door upon arrival or departure. We had requested a location in the building with a view of ocean and it did not disappoint. This resort had it all.

Overall this property has held up to still be impressive. The beach front is by far one of the most beautiful on the coast and the location is nestled between Jupiter, Delray, and West Palm Beach, all of which offer great dining and adventure experiences. A vehicle is a must if you want to leave the property. Dining and Tiki bar offer tasty dishes and cocktails. Staff is attentive, welcoming, and energetic. Activites are provided daily and great music is played at the pool daily, whether is be live or piped in.

Most parking is valet only. $10 a day parking fee even self parking. You can not get a luggage cart only the doorman can use luggage carts. Restaurant food was sub par. You can not bring your own chairs to the beach without being told where you can sit because they or a company rents chairs.

This is the perfect vacation resort in the W. Palm Beach area. Staff was great and daily towel exchange was a plus. Walk to the beach was easy. Activities were offered on and off resort. Downside was required paid parking and food was a little pricey.

We arrived at Palm Beach Shores Resort and right from the beginning we could tell that the management and the resort was far from what we had looked forward to. It is run down, stuck in rut – nothing at all will wow you with this place, especial as a young family with kids. Just stay away. They are driven by rules and regulations and lack any sense of customer centric service, friendliness, or appreciation for guests. The front desk manager, Nino Espinoza, is incredibly rude and should not be in any sort of leadership role, especially front of house operations – keep him away from your guests. Ok so let me get to why we have been so unimpressed with this resort. We have had parking issues, getting any sort of help unpacking the car. The check in process was a complete disaster and created most of our frustration. Then on top of this, to get a parking pass, which you have to pay for before hand ($10 a day) you then have to have a sales talk with a different crew at reception, which is completely uncalled for, waste of time and the last thing you want to do after driving for 10 hours. Lets talk about the rooms: They are old, out of date poorly decorated. The kitchen is not at all practical to cook any sort of decent meal in. The room is small, not at all ideal for a family. The pullout bed for the kids, is so well used, you literally sleep on the metal frame of the bed. Smoking is permitted on the patios of the rooms so in turn the rooms smell of old smoke. Our patio door is half clean and half filthy you can hardly see out of it (See pic). We are here in November and our Airconditioning has blocked up, can't imagine what summer would be like, we now have a massive fan (See Pic) in our room, trying to dry our carpet. Apparently, it is not soaked enough to move us to a different room. Also told just in case we slip we should put towels down on the tiles so we don't hurt ourselves. So pleasant!!! Our kids went down to the pool area to play. They were the only ones in the pool and had a ball they were playing with. They were very quickly told that no playing with ball is allowed. NO FUN!! But ironically it is all good for people to be smoking at the pool, killing us with their cancer sticks. This is allowed and encouraged with all the ashtrays you see around. Same at the Tiki Bar, people smoking cigarettes and cigars. Honestly felt like we had jumped back in time.

Palm Beach Shores Resort is a clean and comfortable place to stay. Great location, beautiful beach and pool area, helpful staff. Best to bring your own beach chairs and umbrella because daily fees are expensive...$50

Don't go. Ellen, at the front desk, was wonderful. She was the only bright spot in a dismal stay. Happy hour sucks and the food at the restaurant was OK. Compared to other resorts, the room was small and substandard. The partial kitchen was useless. You can easily find a better place. This review is harsh, but they deserve it.

We enjoyed this visit. We had 2 units next to each other that faced the pool area. The furnishings were nice and the units were clean, The bathrooms seemed a little dated but ok. The pool area was nice. The beach was also very nice. The beach had a little slant to it and made it a bit hard to walk but it was beautiful. It was not crowded when we went and we loved that. The water was ice blue.

Provided lodging for guests after a mandatory hurricane evacuation at a sister resort. Great pool and on the ocean. Tiki hut bar and full service restaurant. Music and entertainment daily. Great location on Singer Island for tourism. Walking distance to restaurants and stores.

We had a blast as usual at Palm Beach Shores, as usual the stay was perfect, Tiki hut staff Lisa, Ryan,Brian, Sydney and Cassandra were fantastic Pool and Beach staff are the best, Erica and her crew, Mark, Jenny, Heather and Kody ARE the BEST in the business. Patsy the Manager is absolutely fantastic and accommodating. CarolAnn,Kim and Laura in activities are top notch. Although because of Hurricane Nicole, we had to move to a different resort and everything was seamless !

There are some good features about the resort and bad features. Overall it was a good vacation despite being on the third floor on the right side over the parking lot...too much noise daily! Beware of getting your parking pass...it's a timeshare sales ploy!

Resort units are a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and our bartender Jeff was the best. The nightly live entertainment was fun and we met a lot of wonderful people. The area is very nice.

Worse than a motel 6 with 5 star pricing - cockroaches included! Only gave this dump one star because there wasn't a lower option. During my stay here I found a cockroach in my room. I killed it and immediately called the front desk disgusted and concerned and rightfully so. The manager just thanked me for letting him know and was going to leave it at that. When I pressed that for the price per night this is unacceptable not to mention disgusting to have cockroaches in the room he simply said they are indigenous to Florida! WHAT?!? Cockroaches are indigenous to filth and that's DISGUSTING!! They offered me a minimal refund which was borderline insulting and when I came down to the front desk to review the charges at checkout - bringing up the issue with the roaches in the room, the staff gave me attitude and made me feel like I was out of line for thinking this was unacceptable. Don't waste your money. This place is an outdated cockroach infested dump with piss poor customer service.

The resort was attractive and well maintained. We took advantage of its location to visit Palm Beach, Delray and other area sites. Our unit was a one bedroom, so we didn't have a real oven, which we missed, but otherwise it was comfortable and pleasant. Our one complaint was that rather boring 80s and 90s music was played rather loudly throughout the resort for about 10 hours a day. We could have done with more upbeat and varied music, not quite so loud.

We loved this place and have been twice. The unit are large and spacious, clean, well-stocked kitchens and comfortable beds. You do not need a car to visit this resort. Everything you need is within walking distance. We found that the restaurant on-site had excellent food and good music entertainment nightly. A beautiful big beach, a nice pool, and friendly and helpful staff made this a an amazing vacation for us.

This was our 4th visit to Palm Beach Shores and we can't wait to get back again! The staff and service are superb. In particular, Jen and Mark at the Beach, along with Heather, Lisa and Ryan by the pool. They provide a refreshing level of personalized service that is very rare these days. In addition, the facilities are very well maintained with new showers and tubs being added. Although there was some seaweed on the beach, it was obvious the PBSR was doing the best of any other resort in keeping their beach raked and clean. The Islander food is fabulous --- the best poolside menu of any place that we have stayed. P.S. There was a glitch with our reservation but Ann resolved it quickly and professionally and made sure that we were taken care of!!

First time at this resort and it did not disappoint us. Staff great friendly ,helpful and always cleaning. Went to the Islander grill and JEFF at the bar is outstanding,always has a smile and will go out of his way to please you. Music every night was great except on Wednesday -- Not so good Elvis experience guy but other then that every meal was perfect. Old guy seating you is a little rough

Friendly and helpful staff. Although the entire staff was terrific, Daphne, Shadow, Lisa, Travis, and Joseph are awarded my Kudo's. Nice ocean view room with balcony. Truly surprised how good the food at the onsite Islander Grill was (beware of the warm dinner rolls, they were lethal with or without butter, just good). Other great dining locations located within walking distance from resort. Leans more towards an older crowd, but we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Actually we never moved the car for the whole week. Spent more time poolside than on the beach. Overall, great trip. Our home resort, see ya in 2024.

My sisters and I took our mom to this resort for a week in October. We had very good service from the time we checked in. We stayed on the 5th floor and had a great view of the pool, beach and ocean, which was great for our mom when she couldn't get to the pool or beach. We had a 1br, 1 ba with 2 full beds and a pull-out sofa. It worked perfectly for 4 of us adults. Everything was very clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly, and the location was nice to be able to walk to some shops and several great restaurants/bars right around the corner. The boardwalk is very convenient and easy when getting to the beach/ocean. The on-site restaurant was good... we had breakfast one morning and dinner one night there, and the tiki-bar at the pool was very convenient with great service. Several staff made our stay very nice. We were greeted by a friendly “hello” every time we walked into the lobby, and we loved Heather who works at the towel and tiki hut by the pool. She was so friendly to us and really made the 4 of us feel welcome every single time we saw her. It was nice having a kitchenette so we could make breakfasts and lunches on-site. And... the bathroom was huge, so plenty of room for us to get ready. We were concerned about having to rent beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach because we knew our mom would not be able to be on the beach long IF she ever could go (she didn't). It worked out for us to just take beach towels but you really can take your own chairs and sit at the park beach just north of PBS resort. It's only a few steps away. My one complaint would be the no-shade issue at the pool. By 8am, the few chairs that get shade by the overhang of the restaurant are taken. Otherwise we had to wait until later in the afternoon to take our mom to the pool, hoping to find a bit of shade for her. Overall, we are very thankful to have spent the week at PBS Resort.

We love staying at this resort. It's on a barrier island with all the amenities you would need except for a gas station which is right across the bridge. The resort is right on the beach with a Tiki bar and restaurant on site. The condos are small but comfortable.

Beautiful beach, great location, warm waters, nice amenities and restaurant. Rooms had great views, most units were only 1 bedroom. Did not like the valet parking and the fact the resort charges $100 for parking.

The unit I stayed in had a view of the Palm Trees on the side so can't really speak much to the view. The furniture in the unit was reminiscent of 80's era Hawaii and the microwave certainly wasn't much newer. Food and drink prices were high but that could be because of post-Covid inflation. The Pizza is well worth the money though. Amenities are nice although not being able to use your own beach chairs so you have to rent theirs is a bit sketchy. Tiki bar was very nice and the fact that the pool and hot tub are open later was a nice benefit.

When you're at Palm Beach Shores, you'll feel like you are in the Caribbean. The pool is a good size and not too shallow, the Tiki Bar ads to the Caribbean feel, the restaurant is traditional (no experimentation here) and excellent. The Spa and Salon are small, but good. And, the beach is just a short walk from the pool. Then there's the walk-in snorkeling/diving as well as all the other water sports all without flying to the islands. Can't say enough good things about this resort!

Always a pleasant stay with 5 or 6 restaurants (lots of live music) within walking distance, a nice beach, pool, gym, and tiki bar & restaurant on site. A great location for walking or getting in that early morning jog.

Professional friendly and very caring staff. You are truly pampered here. With door butlers, daily trash removal and clean towels delivered. Excellent restaurant. They will even deliver your drinks to the perfectly heated salt water pool. We were even given a ride on the gator to go out to our umbrella, table and 2 lounge chairs on the beach. Can't wait to go back.

This resort was very nice. It has its own Restaurant and bar.The food was very good, different specials every night, excellent service. The Tiki Bar at the pool was a great place for drinks and food. The beach was just a short walk. We booked it again for next year.

Step back in time to valet parking , doormen and bag assistants. Restaurant open for all meals with nightly entertainment. Daily activities by the pool, and beach chair with umbrellas rentals by the beach. You feel like you could be one of the rich Palm Beachers. We loved our stay. Lots to do in the area , and the beach is lovely.

Palm beach shore resort and villa is a unique place!! The staff was fabulous! The beach was awesome...however did not like to pay for the chairs and umbrellas. The pool was great and the food in the restaurant and poolside was delicious. Had lots of lounge chairs around the pool

I truly enjoy my time there. Wish I could have stayed another week. Enjoyed a couple of massages. The tiki bar was my favorite (Lisa, Ryan, Levi, & I forgot one name. The entertainment at the pool was nice.

The resort went above and beyond to ensure that everyone in my group had a great time. We were treated like family and were sad to go. Everything from the staff to the room to the restaurant to the beach was perfect!

This was one of my best vacations in a long time! Although the resort is older, it has so many amenities! Live music by the pool and in the restaurant with dance floor. Wonderful food. Friendly staff. Many activities. Private beach.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit. 3rd floor ocean view was outstanding. Clean well appointed and generously sized. The whole staff was friendly but extra shoutout to Michelle at the front desk. She could not have been more helpful. Joseph the bellman/front door was great! We had a lot of luggage and he helped us with everything always with a smile. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Tiki hut had some good bartenders. Shoutout to Lisa and Ryan! The on-site restaurant, The Islander Grill, was consistently good and affordably priced.. breakfast lunch and dinner. actually the best meals we had were here. One dinner was twin lobster tails for under $45. Yummy! Kudos to the manager, Marco. He and the wait staff do a wonderful job taking care of their customers. The cherry on the sundae was the nightly live entertainment.. we had a blast! From Motown to jazz to Latin to Rock there was something for everyone. And……the beach. This resort sits right on the beach - walk over short boardwalk and you are there. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. Personal beach umbrellas and chairs cannot be used on the resorts grounds but it sits right next to a public park so you could bring your own to use on that part of the beach, parking is $10 a night and you can self park or valet or mix it up. Valet was very accommodating. There was no daily housekeeping but a quick call to the front desk for anything you need or run out of and in a few minutes it was at our door. Shopping and other restaurants are within walking distance. We did drive to Sailfish Marina, only about 10 blocks way but the heat kept us from walking, for their Buffet breakfast. Outstanding. The omelette chef, Champagne, made the best omelettes We have had in years. Every Thursday there is a set up on the seawall at the Marina with vendors selling higher end wares. A complimentary shuttle runs from the Marina to PBS resort continuously starting around 5.. We took advantage of that and shopped the vendors and had dinner at the Marina restaurant. Came back to our place and listened to a Motown tribute band in the hotels Islander Grill over some good drinks. Great evening. We always enjoy our stays at Palm Beach Shores Resort and are already planning a return trip.

This was an excellant timeshare stay. The resort was great with a tropical themed decorations. Friendly staff, their restaurant was very good and resonably priced. Many other restaurants within walking distance.

Today is our last day at this wonderful resort. This is our 2nd stay and loved it both times. This time, we had a 2 bedroom and while its not 'super' modern, I can't stress enough how fabulous the views are from this room, any time of day. All the rooms were spacious & beds were very comfortable. The 2nd bedroom was like a studio apt with a lil kitchenette. Main kitchen was stocked enough for making meals, but between the restaurant at the resort, tiki bar and the strip of restaurants across the street, we did eat out more. The pool area was very nice. Lisa has got to be the friendliest bartender/server I have ever met. The beach, the beach, the beach!!! My favorite place ever! Also, a shout out to Alfredo at the front desk. Super friendly & if we called he took care of it immediately. The only con, imo, and definitely not a game changer...the cost to rent the loungers and umbrellas is too much. Anyway...this is a great place for a beach vacation and we definitely plan to come back.

Pool way too hot and too much debris. Needed cleaned. No shade available around the pool. We had to manually turn air conditioner on & off. Chose not to complaine. Great lighting in the unit to read by! Food was good.

After 3 years, we finaly came back to the Palm Beach shores hotel in West Palm beach we had a perfect room 416 with an ocean view. Everthing was perfect from the beach with the team Jen & marc, to the tiki bar Lisa this woman is a sunshine for real , great team in the reception Ulrika, Nino always helpfull , the Gym was perfect for me we enjoy also the service in the restaurant with Marco always happy to see us. the compare the beach of Miami and west palm beach no doubt West palm beach is perfect. nearby we had the best pancake at the N.Y Bagel Cafe & Deli Singer Island they do also amazing bagels it's only 3 minutes walking from the hotel ; for shopping I recommend the Palm Beach outlets and Garden mall cant wait to go back

Food and entertainment pretty good, all staff members including door men, maintenance and valet guys were very very good!! Not One umbrella was near or around the pool area, no real escape from the sun.

Staff is very helpful and friendly; great location within easy walking to several restaurants/bars; excellent pool and tiki bar; excellent restaurant on site; rooms are dated but clean; good access to beach.

We rented three 2 bedroom units and had 9 people from 3 families in our party. The units were actually two 1 bedroom units with adjoining doors. So, we basically had 6 kitchens, 6 bathrooms, and 6 living areas to go along with the bedrooms. The kitchens are on the small side with only 2 burners on the counter and no oven but we typically use croc pots for our cooking. They layout actually turned out to be a benefit for us. One grandson was able to use one side of our unit for himself. My two daughters were able to split up their families between the 2 sides of each of their units to give them more privacy.

Great stay. The only thing was I didn't like to have $10 a day for parking. Also I guess I'm spoiled but on my numerous trips to Mexico and the Caribbean I've never had to pay for a beach umbrella and chair and here they charge $40 per day or $200 a week for an umbrella and chair.

First time staying in the palm beach area. Wonderful vacation and the Palm Beach Resort is to thank for it. Courteous, friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. I could go on and on. Great Location, beautiful view. Awesome bar, restaurant. Phenomenal beach. Can't say enough about our stay. Very pleased. We will be back!

This resort left nothing to be desired . Relaxing , island style decor and comfort . Tiki restaurant and bar near pool. Staff is amazing . Beach service is awesome . Room views are breathtaking . You can walk to shops and restaurants off site .

We were looking for a week of rest and relaxation and that is just what we got. Whether we chose the beach or pool there was easy access and both were clean and well kept. All staff was friendly and accommodating. We had the option of onsite dining, room service and restaurants in walking distance and we used all options. I would definitely return.

Location of this resort is great and convenient . Very impressed by kindness and courtesy of ALL staff in ALL departments. Outdoor landscaping was beautiful and entire resort was clean and cared for consistently. Loved the parking options and how quickly all responses were for questions or needs.

This is our favorite resort. The staff is wonderful, and the abundance of amenities makes this feel like a luxury resort rather than the run f the mill timeshare. The onsite restaurant and Tiki bar are first class. The only downside is that other people obviously share our view as availability of rooms is limited. We'll definitely be back.

I'm not sure if I would recommend this resort. 1st unit AC didn't work, but resort was accommodating when we reported it. Partial kitchen needs a garbage disposal in the sink. It's impossible to cook or just rinse dishes and cups without the sink backing up. Too much smoking at the resort and not limited to the designated areas. There were people smoking in the pool. The resort can't control the seaweed, but it put a damper on beach time and it was not picked up regularly. Pros: Beachfront (Note: RCI guests get parking lot view). AC didn't work in our first unit so we lucked out moving to a unit with a better view. Large bathroom -separate shower and tub Beds pretty comfortable Daily towel service and midweek clean (also will take care of trash which is nice) Resort activities if you partake in them Large pool Ample dinnerware and cookware They recycle and provide a separate bin Regular towel and trash service and midweek clean Laundry (for a charge) on each floor Nice balconies Eateries, bars and music less than 1 block (note: expensive) and quality is so so. Cons: $5 a day parking fee - you don't have to valet, they have self parking if you turn right Beach chair rentals - 20 p/d - you can't use your own stuff in front of resort beach - but you can walk a few hundred feet to public beach side and set up chairs and tent for free. People Smoking everywhere and not in designated areas. If you get a 1 bedroom partial - No oven, 2 burner stove, baby dishwasher, tiny sink without a garbage disposal- forget draining or rinsing. Rooms are aging but clean, the trade off is beachfront! Love this Resort! A wonderful family atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Especially loved the pool beach staff! Mark, Jenny, Ian, & Eva were amazing. They were so helpful, working hard to please & fun! Entertainment in the restaurant was great, especially Magic Moment & Essence of Motown. They had us up dancing, and having a great time. Delicious food, wait staff was top notch!

My wife and I have been taking vacations in Florida for the past several years. We typically don't repeat locations, as I like to try something new each time. Palm Beach Shores Resort & Vacation Villas is certainly the nicest place that we have stayed so far. The pool is great. We loved that the beach was right there. Some very nice restaurants are within walking distance. One could easily spend and enjoyable and relaxing time here without ever needing to drive anywhere. That being said, we did take a few short drives. John MacArthur State Park is only a few miles away and it was nice day out, with a nice short hike on a nature trail, less crowded beaches, information on local flora and fauna, etc. The Riviera Beach and Palm Beach areas are nice places to visit. We also visited Mounts Botantical Gardens which we enjoyed. There is a lot to do in the area, or you can just relax.

I can't say enough about the staff at the facility. It honestly feels like coming home. Everyone smiles and is eager to help. The rooms are comfy and cozy! It is not a super huge place, but that is the beauty of it. It never feels crowded or uncomfortable.

We decided to take our extended family to Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas this year. There were 3 families who each had their own room. A couple weeks prior to Our trip we called the resort and asked that our rooms be close together if possible. We all arrived well before the check in time, but we're told we could enjoy the pool or beach until our rooms were ready. A couple weeks prior to our trip, we asked if our 3 rooms could be close together, and we're happy to find the rooms all right next to each other when we checked in. The staff was very friendly the entire trip, and the location is great. Right on the beach and also with a large pool the resort had something for everyone. There are a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk which made the location even better. The beach chairs and umbrella seemed a bit expensive to rent, but many families brought their own to the beach each day. All in all a wonderful vacation with the family.

I got this property through the RCI and because of what I paid, I wasn't expecting the best. I was happily surprised that even though the property has its age, the apartment was so spacious and clean. I had great view of the pool and the beach. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the amenities were great too. The staff at the pool was very friendly as well. We enjoyed it. We will definitely come back.

I was looking for quiet get-away for a week. First, as an RCI member you are given the lowest priority and this is the second and last time I have been placed over the front parking canopy. There is no way to even glimpse the ocean. The resort is filled with families who are delightful and enjoyable. However there isn't room to swim in the pool, a lounge chair available before 4 pm, and the hot tub is no place for children. I brought my chair and beach towel but am not "allowed" on the resort beach without renting their chair, must go outside their cabana area. I get it, its in the fine print which they have politely quoted often. The servers at the Islander Grill are delightful as are all of the housekeeping staff. If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation, book after September.

This resort is very old and outdated. The only good thing was it is on the beach! The furniture in the room had chips all over it, bathroom sink paint was peeling, there were crackers in the ceiling. As a Timeshare owner we should not be staying in a place that looks like that.

Had roaches in my room second room I had slider was broke staff was overall not helpful and rude please make it better for future guests. The staff made me stress during my day of my wedding this was suppose stress free but with the bugs I was worried I'd be taking them home

This is our fourth time staying at Palm Beach Shores! We love the pool, beach, and walkable restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to answer your questions and meet your needs. Our view from our room was beautiful. We will be back!

The resort is very outdated, old and dingy. But overall, my stay was comfortable, the linens and towels were clean. There's an additional charge for just about everything. Don't think I would stay here again, unless I had to. The value for your money is just not great.

Bryan, Cydney, and Anne Marie at the Tiki Bar have been amazing. We look forward to our sit down after being on the beach each day. They are kind, helpful, and attentive! Keep the amazing people. They have made our stay so wonderful! And in the twenty years we've been coming here, all the workers have been so amazing.

Old charm but well maintained with most modern amenities. The pool side and restaurant is a plus. Friendly and helpful staff all around the resort. Rooms are well appointed and ready on time. The common areas are well maintained.

This place has it all. Beach, hospitality, beach, restaurants close by, beach, comfortable beds, beach. Did I mention beach? If you are approached by a dude with a baseball hat in a 4-wheeler John Deere, he is not selling timeshares. He is just checking to make sure you are having a great time (unless you pitch your own umbrella). Mark, Emma, Jenny, and Mary (parasailing) are just a few of the workers that went overboard to be sure we had all we needed and I'm sure there are many more I did not get to meet. The water was warm and clear. We have done a beach week annually for 30 years but rarely stay in the same resort twice. That might have to change. We will certainly try to return next year.

If you are looking for a nice beach to visit this is the place. It's our favorite beach. They have everything you need on site to have a fun time. The beach and pool are great and there are a few restaurants in walking distance. We recommend the Two Drunken Goats blackened grouper sandwich. It's a family favorite. The resort is not new but they do a good job in upkeep. We like the north side views the best. This is a clean resort and the staff take good care of you during your stay. A few draw backs are hard beds and heavy brick pillows. We bring our own pillows now. It would also be nice to have fans in bed room so we bring a fan too. We were on the 5th floor this stay so we were surprised to see tiny ants in the kitchen. If you plan to go to the beach most of the week and want to rent chairs and umbrellas you will want to do that early before you come online at GETWET water sports. We like to be on the front row and that can be filled up if you wait until you get there.

Overall it was a great family vacation, the units are small but manageable size and do not have a full kitchen. They had fun interactive activities throughout the day and lists provided each day, a good mix of kid friendly and adult activities. The pool staff offered cold cloths to people sitting out in the sun. This resort offers more cleaning services than typical timeshares. House keeping came to pick up the trash daily and exchanged towels every other day. This is the 5th Vacation Village resort we have stayed at and I was disappointed in the amount of additional fees during our stay compared to the other vacation village properties. Laundry was $4.50 per load (other VV resorts are free access to laundry facilities and some are in the units). Parking was $10/day- none of the other Vacation Village properties charge for parking. 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill when purchasing food/beverages at the pool. You can self park for $10/day or pay $10/day plus tip valet. We chose to self park and did not have a problem finding parking. The beach chair rental was $40/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella, if you choose to bring your own chairs you have to go a little to the side to use them and cannot bring your own umbrella. Overall, it is a great resort- it's not exactly what you are expecting compared to other timeshare resorts.

Wonderful resort. Even though this, is a old converted hotel and most of the rooms have not been updated, it is a wonderful place to stay. Loads of amenities- pool, water aerobics, activities for kids, best beach and beach service. There is a restaurant on the property that serves three meals a day with entertainment in the evening. Gift shop and spa services. Staff is friendly and professional. Each room has a well stocked small kitchen including stove, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. Clean towels are received everyday, with a cleaning mid week. Valet parking and self parking available. A 25 minute trip to Jupiter for delicious restaurants, as well as a bunch within walking distance of this resort.

Palm Beach Shores Resort & Vacation Villas is a great, and clean resort. Excellent care, and services. Variety of fun activities for children and adults in-door and outdoor. I was by myself and I felt like family and safe. I enjoyed my vacations.

We loved our week at the PB Shores Resort. The staff is helpful and friendly. The beach was beautiful with a really fun sandbar (at least when we were there). Several restaurants are a 3 minute walk with nightly live music at most of them.

Lisa and Ryan who work at the tiki bar were fantastic!! So upbeat and fun. The resort is pretty and clean. Has a huge bathroom and bed. All the amenities you could want. All the workers at this resort were friendly. Nice location. Really enjoyed vacation there.

We pay about $1,000 for our maintenance per year….that's per week!!!! That's $5200ish per year per unit!!! We have been owners for over 20 years and we are saying “would we have bought this timeshare back then if it was in the condition it is now?” Oh wait same condition as it has been! Never been upgraded or remodeled, the elevator is still slow as molasses! Go into the rooms every outlet is ready to electrocute you, the dishwasher comes out at you from the wall! The floor lamp is sideways and could be fixed. The chandelier is up in the ceiling and really they could replace it with a regular light because the plug-in in streams down to the wall! The pool needs a good clean, the hot tub needs some jets fixed….the place use to be lit up by rope lights and the lights are around the tree but are never on!! When we arrived there wasn't any shampoo or conditioner and when we went to ask for it they said oh that's usuAlly provided when you arrive and we didn't get any of it!

Very nice location, the resort and the unit was very clean, friendly and help staff. I will go there again for sure, I recommend this resort to everyone. Live music every night, Great food and tiki bar.

Check in was quick, but we could not use their carts to carry in our luggage. We had to drive around and get in line with other vehicles for almost an hour for the bellman to cart our luggage to the room. Checking out was faster. The bellman came to the room within minutes of calling and no line of vehicles outside waiting.

Family stayed at PBS for a week. We had a 4th floor view of the pool. On the beach every day, showers in the afternoon. Pool, Tiki Bar and on-site restaurant perfect when you wanted to just hang out and relax. Live music by the pool every day and live music at the restaurant every night. Restaurants, bars and shops a block a way. Staff always courteous and helpful.

Great location for scuba, snorkeling, kayaks, fishing and the beach. If you pay attention to the tides, you will experience dive and snorkel trips as good as the Bahamas. Hit the pool and beach in the afternoon with a drink of the day and a good time will be had by all.

First visit to Palm Beach. Location of hotel is great giving easy access to plenty of activities. As already stated - yes this property is rather dated - but - it was perfectly clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable enough and in general the hotel was quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. The restaurant was good - with some very entertaining acts! All staff were very pleasant. The only downside for us was the consistent plugging of the timeshare - seriously they wasted so much paper with their constant notes and then phone messages - take a hint - so not interested, no matter how good the prizes/gifts etc sound!! One last gripe - ok so paying $40 for sunbeds I can live with but it was the $20 for 2 hours that was really crazy! If you got to the beach at 2pm (which we often did after being out and about) you either had to pay $40 to stay beyond 4pm or vacate at 4pm - seriously Management at least make it a full half day!!! Needless to say - We did not vacate by 4pm if we only paid for 2 hours and were never challenged, however do we really need to keep clock watching while on holiday - NO!

We were pleased with the resort and all its amenities, and it's location right on the beach. I question the very steep charge to use the hotel's lounge chairs on the beech. $20 per hour for hotel's guests seems excessive

Beautiful location with a great beach front, nice pool and wonderful staff. However, this is the only resort we have stayed at where you have to pay $40 per day for beach chairs and an umbrella and $10 per day for parking.

Great location, cleanliness & staff. Furniture needs updating. Shower is small & at minimum needs a removable a shower head to be functional. The beach is amazing and water is the closest you'll get to the Caribbean on the main land. The on-site restaurant is great and has good entertainment and food!

This is an excellent resort! At the Tiki bar, Lisa was an awesome bar tender. Never missed a beat. in the restaurant, Levi was an excellent waiter. Was very busy but you never had to wait for him. He was a hustler and kept everyone happy!

We stayed here in March of this year. Staff was friendly, pool area, room, hallways, lobby area was clean. Restaurant food and tiki bar drinks were not a big deal. After eating dinner and having drinks at the tiki bar one night we decided to go out to dinner and have drinks elsewhere for the duration of our stay. Prices were steep and food wasn't that great. Service was very poor and the restaurant at the time was very slow. My wife and I hated the beds. We rarely complain but we do a lot of traveling and these beds were probably the worst beds we've ever slept on. We both tossed and turned every night and got not as much sleep as we would like. Our backs We're stiff in the am which was a disappointment. We ended up meeting some people that we saw at the pool daily and they even had problems with the beds. We do have a week planned to come back in august and we're hoping for a better experience and want to give this place another shot. If we experience the same issues it will be our last time and we'll be staying at Ocean Point. We're hoping for the best. I know they've been working on updates with some rooms so hopefully by the time we arrive in late august the rooms will be complete

An excellent resort with a very nice location and very good amenities at the restaurant, pool and the beach. Very nice staff, resort does need updating with higher sinks and toilets, etc. The staff was great and helpful! Our only complaint was no shade at the pool, no umbrellas and you were not allowed to move lounges to the shade either!!

Field limitations by Trip Advisor limit the space allocated for these reviews to enough for only about 1/3 of my review. So, I'll have to list the problems minus the more thorough explanation that I would have preferred to leave. The RCI Gold Crown rating is a joke in this case, but then so is RCI itself as anyone who has used them for years should know. As for this location: It's not a “villa” or “resort”, but just a run-down hotel in a nice high-end Palm Beach neighborhood with nearby skyscrapers along the beach and mega-yachts in the waterways. One would expect a high-end facility given the neighborhood, but instead we got trash around the trail to the beach including a pallet, plastics, and paper that could have been cleaned up in minutes, neglected birds clearly in need of proper care (commented on by others but the hotel denies it), $10/ day to park, restaurant good enough but not great, staff usually friendly but nagged us to attend a timeshare presentation via phone messages, and verbal and written notifications slipped under our door for four days straight, consistent water hammer sounds (Google it) from kitchen and live music making sleep impossible until very late hours, bartender unskilled with tropical drinks, exposed electrical plugs, improperly mounted dining table, appliances broken down and falling apart, cut my lip on a chipped wine glass, dull knives and cheap or missing utensils, glass slider doesn't slide, toilets low, uncomfortable, slow to flush and run for minutes afterwards, fire alarm went off early one morning and we had to evacuate to parking lot and never received an explanation, TV signal goes out repeatedly for several minutes at a time, Internet is unsecure, maid service inconsistent with schedule hotel provides and gift shop lacking. You'll also pay to rent a chair on the beach, or be marginalized further down the property. The timeshare industry remains very broken and this resort coupled with RCI itself could be the poster child, especially given the improper designation. Based on other reviews, management will likely provide a patronizing response to this review by a nameless individual who will forward my review onto the general manager who will do nothing. Bottom line: this place is struggling to reach mediocrity and in desperate need of renovation, as well as new management who is attentive to caged and neglected birds, trash, noise, technology, maintenance, furnishings, and the needs of their guests.

We stay at Pam Beach Shores for the first time and absolutely loved it and plan to go back again. Other than an early fire alarm, our trip was flawless. The greeting was inviting as soon as you pulled up to check in. Our check in was informative, super easy and fast. The Spa staff was fantastic, the cleaning services did a fantastic job. Our roomed smelled clean and was spotless. Lisa at the Tiki bar is the one that made our trip extra special. She has such a great personality and was always smiling and cheerful. I would go back just to have that kind of vibe you need on vacation!!! Kudos to PBSR!

From the time we arrived until we left, the resort staff was friendly, helpful and always smiling. Check-in was quick and easy however once checked in, they send you to another counter to get your parking pass and that's where they schedule your RCI "update" appointment tour so be prepared for that. This is a time share resort, and a beautiful one and well worth the points/weeks to stay here. I couldn't afford it if I had to pay the nightly rate, but I would if I could. We had a 1-bedroom and it was very spacious. The bed was a bit hard for me but was still comfortable. I can't speak to the sofa bed as it wasn't used. We got a view of the entrance so it wasn't horrible but not great either. I imagine the pool and beach views are super nice. The layout is well thought-out and has everything you need. The bathroom was a little dated, but not too bad and it had a shower and separate tub which would be great for families that needed it. The pool is very nice. There's a Tiki bar that connects to the restaurant by the pool and bar service comes to you as you relax by the pool. The service was great both at the pool and in the restaurant! There's a short boardwalk that takes you to the beautiful beach from the pool (it's shorter than it looks on their video!). We went in May and although the resort was sold out, it wasn't crowed at all. We never had a problem or wait getting into the restaurant. The location of the resort itself is wonderful. There are plenty of other hotels around, but this is more like a boutique hotel and very quaint which is my preference on vacation. There are shops and plenty of other restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely come back here again.

Room was partially updated with new furniture and some updated appliances. Bed was not great. Floors and fixtures mostly 1980's vintage so their update is really minimal. Room staff were excellent as were the services in restaurant and pool and beach. Great pool and team there. Music on some days outside, they had some electrical issue? Music at dinner if you eat there. Lots of options for food short walk. Great snorkelling at the bridge, one of the best in the world...walkable. Marketing of timeshare typical....fake high price, then offer something that appears lower, pretend to offer you a foreclosure etc...waste of time. Many units are for sale, over 200 weeks I found with just 1 search. Try to sell the points program but I think you can find those if you look...for free or close to it. Enjoy your stay.

the air conditioner was leaking and we called maintenance - they came and said it was from condensation but the next morning it was still leaking so we called again and told them it must be the pan and then we left - i hoped they checked the ac

Returned here for a sisters and daughter trip last week after staying here several years ago. We requested a room close to the elevator with a nice view from the balcony. Pros: The wait staff at the pool were super friendly and service was excellent. The Tiki Bar atmosphere was lovely and the happy hour was great. The food and the nightly entertainment at The Islander Grill was wonderful. The Valet service was speedy and much appreciated with a few of us having mobility issues from recent orthopedic surgeries. Cons: We had 4 people in our unit and the pull out sofa bed was beyond awful. There were only two plastic chairs on the balcony with a small square table. We called the front desk multiple times to request 2 extra chairs and also a round table to be able to all enjoy the view and have meals together with the view. Even though at check-in, we were told that we had an oversized balcony, we were told that only 2 chairs were allowed per balcony. We told the front desk agent that there were corner rooms with round tables and four chairs with the same size balcony as ours but were still denied after the agent said she spoke to the general manager. Why would a resort with a room for 4 people only have 2 chairs on the balcony? Upon check out when the Manager asked how the stay was we complained about this issue and she said she did not tell the agent to tell us that? We actually brought a few of the dining chairs from the room out but sure missed being able to have our meals together at a table on the balcony like we do at other RCI gold crown resorts. As mentioned by another reviewer, the Palm Beach Shores with their private beach not providing chairs/umbrellas is just ridiculous. We paid over $500 to rent chairs and umbrellas for the week not knowing there was not a restroom out there and that there was a "Stay out of the ocean water" warning posted on the doors of the resort leading out to the pool. Pack your own beach towels as the towels provided at the pool do not even cover 1/2 of the lounger chairs. The first few days we were given two towels when we requested them but the rest of the week we were told there was a towel shortage so were only given one, had to decide which part of your body you want lying on the hot blue plastic which was a real discomfort. One day they ran out of towels altogether! PBS should really consider replacing all the pool towels with decent sized quality towels and donating the existing ones to the local homeless shelter. There are no umbrellas anywhere around the pool area for those fair skinned, youngsters or older folks trying to be mindful of sun exposure to use in order be able to sit out with the rest of the family around the pool while on vacation or tables for the drinks served. Also be aware that an 18% gratuity is added to all checks and was also added to the beach chairs and umbrellas rental which was $80 of the over $500 we paid. We did enjoy our stay in lovely Singer Island but missed some of the basic amenities we are accustomed to with the other Vacation Village resorts and RCI gold crown resorts we have stayed in.

All staff we had contact with were congenial, cooperative and helpful. the unit and grounds were very clean and well kept. Onsite pool and beach were great. Location close to dining, marinas, shopping, state and local parks, and attractions was convenient.

Spent a week in a 2 bedroom at the resort. Friends stopped in for a few days as did a family member. Parking not an issue and check in/out was smooth. We were disappointed to have rooms on the 2nd floor as the height of the trees between the pool and the ocean completely blocked any ocean view. Rooms were dated and the bathroom shower was designed for small people, while a big tub took up most of the room. We are tall and this was a BIG negative. Our bathroom sink backed up and it took 18 hours for the plumber to get there. NOT GOOD Pool was crowded and don't believe them when they say people can't reserve/hold chairs. NOT TRUE. No real shade areas at the pool. If you have trouble with sun, pray for clouds. Tiki bar was very good as was the restaurant. Entertainment in restaurant was excellent. Watch out for the automatic 18% gratuity on all bar and restaurant items.

The resort has everything you would want. If you are fast pace or no pace this is the place to be. The food is fantastic! Staff are helpful and friendly. The area surrounding the resort has a lot to offer. If you are looking for fast-paced or no-paced :) this is the place to be. Looking forward to coming back.

The resort was clean, the staff was always friendly, the waiters at pool Ryan and Lisa were very good the only negative was they charge 40dollars a day to rent chair on beach, the food was good and entertainment was good especially Motown band on Wednesdays

My wife and I really needed a week away but we didn't have a week off. This place is very close to where we live so we came for a working staycation. This place was fantastic! I had a special request which ended up going to the hotel manager and she went above and beyond to make it the special experience we were dreaming of. All of the staff was top notch from front gate to bell hop to front desk to restaurant staff (the food was EXCELLENT also). My wife is a bit of a Marriott snob so she wasn't sure about going to a brand we weren't familiar with but she loved everything about it and every minute of it! We can't wait to go again!

Resort has everything you need. Pool gets crowded so use beach. Heads up beach chairs and umbrellas $40/d. Tiki bar good and a little pricy. Resort very clean and staff friendly. Rooms have terrace, there's a gym in house and rooms are well set up. Would stay again.

We enjoyed a week at this fine resort. It is well situated, comfortable and well-appointed but is a little dated and could do with a facelift. It has a superb location on Singer Island with easy access to a private beach. There are lovely walks through the town of Palm Beach Shores through pretty streets to the marina and a promenade by the sea. There are bars and restaurants nearby.

Everything you want and need for a good vacation. Beach, pool, bar, nightly entertainment , restaurants on location and walking distances and shopping and grocery store close by. We bought here ans loved the area. I find that this is the place I always want to return to. I have brought my husband, family and girlfriends and we always have a great time. Its all you want and need for a great vacation. You can relax or keep busy on this vacation.

Perfect setting because the Resort sits right on the beach. Nice large pool area with excellent staff. I don't know if there is a rule for the kids to stay in the kids area, but it was certainly appreciated. Adults were actually swimming laps without interference from kids. Easy access to the beach on the nicely decorated boardwalk.

The resort is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean on beautiful Singer Island. The staff was super courteous. The pool area was a decent size. A boardwalk connected the pool area to beach. The resort had a restaurant with nightly entertainment and a Tiki Bar by the pool. There were a few restaurants off site within walking distance. When the resort remodels bathrooms and sliding doors, I would give the resort top ratings. .

The resort is older, however it was well kept. Clean, spacious, convenient are just a few things about this resort. The service was 5 star, call ahead and get your car, greeted with a smile by the valet and reception area every time, any time of day or night. Would definitely go again.

We love this resort because of the location right on the ocean. They have a great pool area with a tiki hut bar. They have a good restaurant right on the property that had entertainment most nights. We love all the activities in the area.

The rooms are extremely dated. After entering the room, i elected not to stay there because the rooms are dated and the quality of the room is below standard. I lost points and did not stay there. The bathroom equipment (shower) is old and run down. I would not recocmmend this place at all!!

Having read many other reviews for this resort, I was pleased and my expectations were exceeded. The resort is definitely showing it's age but the staff keeps it well maintained and the service was excellent. Lisa, Brian, Anne Marie, Ryan and Kelly do an outstanding job at the tiki bar and pool, Ada was very pleasant and attentive in the restaurant at breakfast, Darryl did a great job playing cover tunes at the pool during the day, the food was very good, the evening entertainment in the restaurant was good and the spa services were excellent. Aside from a brief invitation upon check in and one note left at my door I was not approached by any timeshare salespeople and I didn't see any other guests being harassed. Having stayed in many timeshares all over the world, I rate this among the top ten.

Loved this resort! Short walk on boardwalk to beach. Pool area was nice but you kind of felt crammed in like sardines and you had to arrive early in the morning to get a pool chair. But, the pool attendants were very conscientious about people leaving their items/towels to reserve chairs. You could only leave your chair for 30 minutes. That was good! The tiki bar and restaurant on site were great, but drinks were pricey. We were not pressured into a tour. But, word to the wise, do not accept anything "free" without knowing that you will be asked to tour their facility. The housekeeping staff was great with a mid-week cleaning along with replenishment for towels/tp/bedding, etc. Front desk personnel were very friendly. We were on 2nd floor in a 2 bedroom. If you want to actually see the ocean, request 3rd floor or higher. The hedges/trees block your view on the 2nd floor. Extra $10.00/day to park which we thought was not welcoming. There really is no other place to park, so you are forced to park in their lot.

Great location on beach. Only problem is homeless people in nearby city park. I would not recommend going to the city park at night...they can be seen all over. Also you can't use the luggage carts yourself....

It was y 3rd visit there. The resort is very comfortable. The units are spacious with many amenities. 2 large flat screen TV's, a well equipped kitchenette, the master bedroom was roomy and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. The tiki bar and restaurant are wonderful. Itwas such a treat to have breakfast right downstairs. I had the best turkey club sandwich that was so good I ordered it 3 times. Everyone in my group liked what they ordered. Across the street is a small plaza with several good casual restaurants. It's so nice having a beach right next to the hotel. But I really appreciated only being a 20 min. drive from Palm Beach Airport.

The desk clerk when we arrived acted like she was doing us a favor by checking us in. She also told us that our room had a partial ocean view, which was not true. The sliding glass doors to the balcony wouldn't lock, and the maintenance person couldn't fix it. So our first hour there was not impressive. But this turned out to be a very enjoyable resort, because everything after that first hour was quite nice. The room, a bit dated, yes, but had everything we needed. The on-site restaurant was nice, with live music every night. The pool experience was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Lisa and Ryan who were the servers at the pool. The music was pleasant, especially the live guitarist, Daryl, who performs at the pool four days a week from noon to 4 pm. The beach at the hotel was beautiful. Plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk means no need to rent a car. One-way Uber from PBI was $25-30. Overall experience was quite good, and would recommend this resort for people of all ages.

This has been one of our favorite resorts. You can't beat the location.It's right on the beach with several Restaurants just across the street. The marina is also a short 10 minute away. The rooms are small and the amenities are dated, but it's kept clean and well maintained. Any issue or need(dish soap, paper towels, etc) are addressed immediately. The pool area and tiki bar are very popular. The bar staff, concierge and doormen are extremely friendly and helpful!

We are time share owners at this resort and stayed during our week Feb. 19-26, 2022. The location is beautiful but we were severely disappointed by many things in how it's run. 1) Right after we had checked in and unpacked a bit, someone came to our door & when I answered he said "you're not supposed to be here, I've come to clean the floors." Instead of letting him disrupt our vacation, we chose to not go barefoot while there. 2) There was "welcome info" that said due to Covid-19, we are not offering mid-week service. This was fine with us, so we were greatly surprised when we returned to the room after being gone all day Wed. and realized that someone had been in our room, emptied garbage and changed bedding & towels (which we would have declined if given the option to be environmentally responsible). We had NOT put anything away since we didn't expect anyone in the room. Why was there a note saying there'd be no service, if there was! 3) The "welcome info" also reminded us to give them a 5 star rating - as if it was expected instead of earned! How obnoxious! The request wasn't worded as "We hope to earn a 5 star rating, let us know if something needs improvement during your stay so we can best accommodate you." 4) During our stay they switched cable companies from Direct TV to Comcast but didn't complete the work as soon as expected so we were without TV service one night. 5) We had our own bikes with us, but there was no space for us to use the resort's small amount of bike rack space because one rack is for their rental bikes only and the other had the same guest bikes on it all week that never appeared to move! 6) On Sunday we ate at their restaurant and ordered the dinner for 2 Italian special. The menu price was $32.95 but we were charged a couple bucks more than that. The waitress just shrugged when I questioned the price discrepancy and wouldn't honor the price on the menu. On top of that they automatically add a 17% tip to the bill, even though service is consistently poor. Service was slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived each night we dined there. (After 3 tries we stopped going there.) For one meal, we asked 3 different wait staff for ketchup for our fries over a 15 minute period and finally asked a couple at a nearby table if we could use theirs! 7) We had our own beach chairs with us but couldn't put them in the middle of the beach front because that's for the rental chairs only! 8) We also couldn't get a luggage cart for our own use even though there were plenty available. They're for the bellhops only so that you have to give a tip. That's just wrong, especially when we're charged nearly $1,000 annually for maintenance for our 1 week time share. 8) Signs were everywhere saying "masks required" but few wore them, including the staff.

Location is amazing, Good food & entertainment at on site restaurant Tv wasn't working & repair person was here immediately. Only stovetop burners & microwave but used convection setting to bake some rolls. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly & very helpful. Had great pedi her at the spa. Returning next year.

I have been vacationing at Palm Beach Shores since 2017. I look forward to seeing the staff and familiar surroundings! The staff is helpful and eager to please. The units are clean and the views spectacular. My favorite vacation spot in Florida.

I want to say I loved it; I really do but the resort is getting tired. The staff is great, we loved the proximity to the beach and the local bars/restaurants. We loved it 5 years ago when we were here last, but unfortunately, it fell a little flat this time. I truly understand that there are staff shortages these days, I truly do and that's what makes this so hard. My biggest issue is that while the rooms look clean to the naked eye, the soles of my feet said otherwise. My husband and I noticed our feet were black from walking around barefoot only in the unit nowhere else in the common areas. I think it's the carpeting in the bedroom. It needs to be deep cleaned. I took a shower, walked in there and minutes later my feet were dirty again. The other issue was the water pressure. Not good. Toilet took forever to refill; shower pressure was awful and it took literally 15+ minutes just to get the water to temp that was warm enough to stand it or you have to take a cold shower. The hotel is old and it's infrastructure is starting to reflect that. Restaurant was severely understaffed for breakfast. Poor woman was all by herself some mornings at opening and clearly overwhelmed. One morning someone was late another someone didn't show up. No more beach service for drinks/food as they have little to no staff to handle it. (We asked.) The front desk staff was great! All of the staff really, were nice and friendly as well. That's not the issue at all. Just follow up with the cleaning supervisor on the carpets.. that's my biggest issue. We shouldn't have to wear flip flops in the room to keep our feet clean. We were in unit 432. I really do like going there but I don't think I'll convince my husband to go back after this last time. Very sad and I'm sorry I had to review it this way. I wanted to love it and there are things about it that I do love which makes this so hard.

This resort is perfectly situated right on the water..The staff is great! The pool and Tiki Bar area ..kudos to Ryan, Lisa, Jen and Joe...There is a restaurant onsite which has daily specials and live entertainment and dancing!! The units are large and completely furnished with everything you need. It is walking distance to shopping and restaurants plus a Publix grocery store 5 minute drive away.. Looking forward to returning to this great resort!

The overall style and layout of the building is very attractive and appealing with a traditional resort look. The staff is great with the concierge desk staff always very positive and helpful. Our room this year allowed us to see the ocean which added greatly to our enjoyment of the stay since we use the balcony frequently. The space and furnishings are comfortable and the bedding and towels felt luxurious. We dined at the restaurant on site several times and enjoyed the food, service, and the varied live entertainment. The pool aerobics were fun, the pool area pleasant, and the beach is just a short stroll beyond the pool area. The staff emphasized shared use of the chairs by the pool which was appreciated. A small shopping area adjacent to the property had restaurants, beach gear, and a 7/11.

Palm Beach Shores Resort is a smaller resort on the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a pool, with a musician, Darrell, who plays several days a week, a Tiki Bar, with Lisa, Ryan and Brian, and a restaurant . The restaurant has nightly music as well. There is also a small store and Spa at this location. They also have a concierge, Carol Ann, who has worked there for years and helps with activities, like Bingo and providing Water Aerobics. The building itself is older, but so clean and is kept up to date. The staff is amazing. Sherry is the general manager. Love Patsy, but the whole staff all work hard. They realize you are on vacation and are there to help you make it a stress free vacation. Lots to do n the area too.

One of the few Vacation Village Timeshares on the ocean, we've been coming for about 15 years. Staff is always pleasant, the view is magnificent, the beach is beautiful and just steps beyond the very attractive pool. There is a fun tiki bar by the pool, and we've seen the restaurant grow over the years. We dine there several times over our stay, and there is entertainment nightly as well as music by the pool. They have activities and can arrange trips. It is next door to Riviera Beach and a short walk to some fun, nice restaurants. Singer Island is quiet but close to West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Jupiter, etc. and all those communities have to offer. You can be as active or as quiet as you wish, and that is why we will keep coming back.

This was our first long visit to Florida. We spent two weeks at the resort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Valet service was great. The place has a little age to it but we'll maintained.Has a great pool and easy access to the beach. The location has good access to other places of interest. Riviera beach is next door and there are restaurants and shop within walking distance from the resort.

You've asked me about our stay at the Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas. I will respond in an honest fashion. Firstly, let me say that we were expecting a beautifully kept resort with direct, unencumbered access to the beach judging from the online pictures. We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time since we had only a short distance to travel. We were greeted by a smiling agent who promptly secured our already available room. Room 244 to be exact. But first, he said, you need to talk to the timeshare manager at the desk across the hall. I wasn't aware that as a timeshare owner already I paid to listen to a presentation. The agent at that desk told me that they would appreciate our input as to the new renovations. I was under no obligation to take a tour, but if I did than we could get a resort credit. We declined. The bellman assisted us in retrieving our luggage from the car and brought it upstairs to our room. We opened the door and were met with a stale smelling, small dated “living room” with a small kitchen. The cabinet doors in the kitchen were barely hanging onto the cabinets. The furniture was from maybe the early 90s. The bedroom adjacent to the living room was also old and the mattress was sagging. The bathroom was large, but poorly laid out with no hint of being a 21st century facility. We went to the restaurant off the lobby and had a small bite to eat while discussing our situation. We noticed that there was an overgrown path leading toward the beach from the pool area. In fact, we couldn't tell there was a beach as the vegetation was so intense that we couldn't even hear the waves crashing on the shore. We went back up to the room and had a brief discussion. Then we returned to the lobby and spoke to the gentleman who checked us in. He said that was the only room available as they were fully booked for the week. Well then, I'm RCI Platinum and I secured this week a year in advance, so give me a newer room and give the late check-in guests the room that was assigned to us. NO CAN DO. Back upstairs we went, got our cases and trekked downstairs and checked out. We did manage to secure a hotel room down the block for two days. Vacation, in the crapper. Money, points, time all gone. To make matters only a little worse was the fact that we pre-paid for beach chairs and a prime location on the beach which we couldn't use. No refunds there either.

Love the location and amenities with a restaurant onsite with live entertainment every night. There is a Tiki bar by the pool with happy hour specials every day. It is right on the beach with chairs and umbrellas available to rent. Free lounge chairs by the pool. Very friendly staff by the pool and the beach.

Once again Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas did an amazing job of keeping the staff happy and the building looking sharp. The staff has been at the resort for years and still offer a welcome home when you walk in the door. Love that!

Can't be the resort's beachside location. The pool and tiki bar area are excellent. The service is good. The resort itself and the rooms need to be updated. Rooms have adjoining room doors in the kitchen area which are hollow. This allows for room noise form next door to be heard very easily. Adjoining room doors need to be closed off and sealed to eliminate these noise issues.

We arrived with high expectations based on other guest reviews on Trip Advisor. The building is very tired and in need of updating. We were assigned a handicapped room which had a huge bathroom, but no walk-in shower, so it can't possibly be ADA compliant. Hanging rods in the closet were waist high, so that a dress could not hang there without sweeping the floor. If you want maid service on the weekends, you are out of luck. Not enough staff we were told. Given that the resort is at the beach, one would expect beach chairs and umbrellas to be available to guests. Only for an extra fee and provided by a third party vendor, which charges the hotel who the. Charges the guest. The problem is that when the chairs and umbrellas can't be used because of bad weather, the resort must first get the vendor to process a refund before the guest can be credited. We are still disputing overcharges made by the vendor. The on site restaurant and Tiki Bar is also run by a third party vendor. Food is quite good but the restaurant staff needs more training. When we requested an outdoor table for dinner, the host said “ you didn't ask to sit outside when you called”. There were several tables available. We were not asked if we would like a drink. We were quoted the wrong price on the special of the evening and then after a half hour we were told that appetizers and main courses would be served together. Not good. The server was very sweet, but dropped many things and there were no stands for trays to clear dirty dishes. They went back to the kitchen individually. I might have treated myself to a spa treatment, but there was no answer to my call and though I stopped by several times, there was no attendant on Sunday even though the spa is supposed to be open from 12-6. Other than location, this place has very little to offer.

we have been coming to PBSR many times since 1999 (we think) and have always had a great time. some units are showing their age, but over all a terrific vacation. The staff are great and we have to say Robinson was the best.

We love this property even though it's older they maintain it. The entertainment weekly is awesome, as is the restaurant Islander Grill and Tiki Bar. The staff and owners are very nice and treat us like family.

I own there and love it there. I have been visiting there for the last ten years. They take great care of the building and the beach front is beautiful. There are several great restaurants within walking distance if you don't have a car.

This resort ha d the friendliness staff. Everything was perfect from chec j in to checkout. We did not gave to wait a minute. The pool was great with the tiki bar and island grill. My hats off to Heather who was a great pool attendant. She did everything from managing the handing out of towels, in charge of the hut out by the pool to setting up pool chairs each morning before the pool opened. She was always doing something. We went to the island frill on Wednesday and they had the best Motown band there. Alot of people on the dance floor

Great little place right on the beach. Rooms are small and could use an upgrade. Restaurant is very good and convenient. Pool and beach are excellent. You can rent either an umbrella w/two chaises or a cabana w/two chaises all day for $30. Bellmen/valets are nice to have also. Staff is excellent, friendly and courteous. Never disappointed and we've been there several times.

Although this was only a "B" unit, it was nicely decorated and comfortable. Bed was particularly comfortable with many supportive pillows. Balcony was appreciated as it was shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. Pool was lovely. Staff was excellent! Helpful. Courteous!

front desk people have NO customer skills. If you enjoy high pressure sales bombarded at you daily, this is your place. Housekeeping is good,that's it. An animal (?) was living between the roof and ceiling above my 6th floor room. Front desk response was “that's Florida”. Offered to downgrade me to the 3rd floor. Time shares are a fools delight. Don't become a victim. RUN and don't look back!

Palm Beach Shores is a wonderful location for a beach getaway. We are annual guests and always enjo0y our stay -- beach access, the pool, the tiki bar and the restaurant - food quality and nightly entertainment.

The location is superb, right on the beach, the pool is warm even in January, walking distance to restaurants. Traffic in the area around is very busy to a non east coast Floridian. Music in the restaurant can be very loud. The ribs are excellent the Sunday Italian special is one to be avoided.

Resort was beautiful as always. Warm days at the beach and other local attractions. Our grand daughter had her first beach experience and she loved the sand and the water. It was a great way to spend a week with family.

I have reservations to stay at this resort with 2 other couples in April 2022. I called this morning with a couple of questions and requests and was connected to Jamie in Reservations. She could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Her customer service skills are A+++. Not only did she take the time to post the requests on all 3 rooms, but then took the opportunity to tell me about several amenities that are offered. I hope our experience at the hotel is as pleasant as you are. Thank you Jamie!

The resort was great our entire one month stay. The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The pool and Beach are beautiful. The Resort is like a high end stay from food to the spa. Very fun and relaxing environment. The staff make all the difference, From housekeeping to the valet. The resort staff from the door man to the front desk , everyone is very pleasant.

Arrived at 1:30. Told us we could have a room by 2:00. Then it was 3:00. Finally got in at 4:15. Could have made better use of our time if they would have just said 4:00. They replaced all the armoires while we were there. We liked the old one better. It fit the overall decor better. Couch is starting to sag a little. The bed was great. The sliding door was tough to slide. This was our 5th visit - we like the place.

Terrific stay all the way around. A great place to vacation. We come every year for multiple weeks and always enjoy the whole time. Continue the good work. We appreciate the mask requirement in effect.

We've just spent our 3rd vacation here & as owners, we do love the ocean views here. There are other personal reasons: the fact we can get 2 conjoined 1 bedroom units & have the ability to "have our own space" while still being together on vacation. We'll be coming back.

The location of the resort is a dream right on the beach. It's much more than an average time share, more like a hotel with all sorts of amenities, from on site restaurant, serving breakfast lunch and dinner, nightly entertainment by different bands, a full service spa, a small gym, several stores for necessities and gifts, beach wear and such, a concierge, a wonderful lobby for lounging, doormen, valet parking, bike rentals, a lively pool bar tikka hut, great pool and very short board walk to the beach. Rental of beach chairs, lounges and wind screens available for a fee at end of board walk for resort guests only, all super easy. Many wonderful restaurants in immediate walking distance, very casual atmosphere all around.

The cleaning staff are simply splendid. They're so polite and are working so hard all day every day to keep that place spic and span. I don't like that they've been told to shut off their vacuum when someone walks by them. They're just doing their job, so don't make them submissive. Now. The decor. Holy balls the entire building inside and out is pink. The carpet is dark green with light green paisley swirls and I wanted to vomit each time I left my room. Those colors have got to go. Oh my gosh. It's a beautiful spot on the ocean. A quick walk on the boardwalk and you're there. Very nice. The pool is spectacular except it's not heated. It's cold, so be prepared. But the lights at light in the pool changing colors are truly inspiring. The main lobby floor is really outdated and needs to be upgraded. It's dark, drab and probably easier to keep clean so I'm certain that's why it's still there. A fine place to visit with a bar right there by the pool, so that's a nice bonus!

Great location with 5 or 6 great restaurants/bars a block away, end of the island, very private. Resort a bit dated but very cool like out of the 50s, really very nostalgic, rooms very good size our bathroom was huge. Great beach area the Atlantic here very blue, beautiful harbors and yachts all around. Had a good time.

This was our second visit. Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit overlooking the pool and tiki hut. Unit is a really nice size, dated, but very clean. The door between us an the adjoining unit was paper thin so it felt like our neighbors were in our kitchen. I'm sure it felt the same to them. Tiki Hut was loud until after 10pm but when you're on vacation, who cares. The view was awesome, the Spa is FABULOUS (huge thank you to Lynn & Maylee!), and the staff from front desk to doormen and housekeeping could not have been nicer. And of course the beach is magnificent! Yes the unit is older and there is only a microwave and two burner stove top but the microwave has a convection oven so worked great for warming up pizza, etc. Full sized fridge and everything we needed as far as dishes and utensils. Extra nice touch that they stock with plenty of coffee filters, salt & pepper, dish detergent and dishwashing pods. Bed was very comfortable with tons of pillows. All in all a perfect vacation and we can't wait to return!

Great location,.but it is a little tired. The activities need to be reinstated to bring back the joy and fun. Smoking at the Tiki bar really puts a damper on those who wish to enjoy their lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This resort's location and accommodations were great for a family or weekend getaway. Quiet with beach access and everything close for a little evening fun. Loved walking to the Marina to catch the Peanut Island Ferry. Snorkeling, hiking and beach sun bathing were great on the island!! We enjoyed everything about this getaway! and would do it again!

While an older property, PBSR remains a great place to vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is well designed and very well maintained. The onsite restaurant and snack bar have good food and frequent live entertainment. We've been there several times and the next trip to Palm Beach Shores is already booked. Several other restaurants and a small grocery store are within walking distance, as well.

Our view was fantastic. Looking at the ocean every day never gets old. Walks along the beach are fantastic. The location offers many local eating places. You really don't need a car if you plan to relax all week :)

Lovely spot on Singers Island. Restaurant, entertainment, tiki bar, outdoor pool w entertainment, tropical drinks- if you're looking for a resort feel getaway this will do. Sailfish Marina for gorgeous sunsets down the road!

We have been coming for over 15 years every January. So accommodating and the whole experience is wonderful. Lisa at the pool has been here forever and she's the greatest! Never had a bad experience and will keep on coming.

Nice resort perfectly situated right at the beach, with a warm pool and a hot tub. However, probably due to Covid, there were no activities and perks for the guests and no room service at all. The restaurant and the outside bar had good food and drinks though. The Singer Island offers beautiful and quiet walks, a nice marina with a restaurant only 10 minutes walking from the resort, nearby Peanut Island with manatees ...

All the bathroom and bedroom were a good size, there wasn't a full kitchen and the living room furniture was outdated. The staff didn't seem too informative when checking in - advising about what the property had to offer. It was loud during the night and then My room was across from the Utility room and early in the morning the cleaning crew were outside my room early - AND loud!

2nd floor room. Terrible balcony with concrete wall that toy had to stand to see over. Feels like you are in a basement. The general manager said she would change the room the following day. When we went to do so they would not accommodate us even though rooms were showing available on the website. Manager on duty, Patrick, was rude obnoxious and unprofessional. The general manager stood by and said nothing. Infuriating. Overall terrible experience. Also, resort is very dated and feels dirty. Lots of smokers. FYI - They charge for everything from parking yourself to chairs on the beach. The outdoor bar has limited food and was generally good. Great wings and pizza. Nice staff

Spent a week at this timeshare. Room was sprayed many times to no avail. Windows don't open which is toxic. Balcony door opens BUT no screen. Some Staff had NO masks. Despite signs requiring masks inside, nothing was enforced. Tried outdoor restaurant for breakfast, food is awful despite coffee being okay. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Everything on site, food entertainment. Check hwy 1 north for beaches, food, Use google to locate food os site. Beach chairs costly and beach is small. Pool area was full daily with most chairs reserved with towels by people who went to beach to swim because of chair cost. Entertainment local and so so.

So we booked this resort thru RCI. We utilized points that we had from another time share. Yet the night we arrived, before we knew it we were signing on the dotted line for a tour and presentation from a time share company affiliated with this resort. I actually thought I was just getting a parking permit. We had flown all day and were tired and hungry. The check in process was painful and then before I knew it I was signing up for a tour and time share meeting. When we finally got to our room we realized although promised ocean view when I booked it, we had a parking lot view. I was devastated. I quickly called the front desk and luckily they were able to accommodate an ocean view for us. Make sure you double check this as this resort has many rooms with parking lot views. During our time share meeting we were repeatedly told how lucky we were that they were able to change our reservation to an ocean view. The comment was if we joined their time share we would be guaranteed whatever we wanted when we booked and get the best room available. The pressure was amazing. So moving on from the time share pressure lets talk about COVID. Signs up all over the lobby to wear masks per corporate policy. Employees tried to comply but many wore them below their nose. Many guests did not wear masks. In fact you would not even know we were in a pandemic looking at the packed restaurants and pools/spas. My husband and I ate in our room getting take out or cooking on the stove top. The rooms are definitely dated. I will enclose pictures. They are spacious however with comfortable furniture. The beach is beautiful and excellent to walk on. Lots of local restaurants to eat at that have outside facilities and also deliver. The resort has its own restaurant that is a bit disorganized at times. Over all a very comfortable place to relax but please be warned of the timeshare pressure.

This was the 4th time we have visited this resort in December. The decorations for the holiday season are beautiful - they really do a great job with decorating! The staff is very accommodating. The poolside staff Lisa, Joel, Ann Marie, Ryan and Heather are amazing!!

Our trip to Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas was awesome and everything we expected!! I would give more than 10 stars if we could!!! We would like to say a huge thanks to Carleen in Reservations for getting us the room we wanted! She was very friendly and helpful in making my vacation tops with a view of the beach and pool!! I would also like to give a shoutout to the beach staff , Jenny, Mark Justin, and Brandon! They were so friendly and extremely helpful with making our beach experience awesome! Jenny and Mark recommended the sunset cruise which we really enjoyed as well! I also want to give a shoutout to some of the waiters, waitresses, and the chefs at The Islander Grill and Tiki Bar - Lacie, Bryan, Reilly, Lisa, KB, M, Rosie, Jackson and Annmarie at the beach! The food and Pina Coladas were always top-notch and so delicious, and the servers were so pleasant! We also enjoyed the music entertainment every night and Bob at poolside!! We have now been to Palm Beach Shores 3 times and so very much plan to go back again soon!! This resort is awesome! Patsy, it was great seeing you again! Once again, your staff is to be commended from the reservations, front desk, valet, cleaning staff, servers, chefs, entertainers to beach/pool attendants! Onsite entertainment. Very clean. Staff is friendly and makes an attempt to accommodate your request. Although costly, you can reserve a location on the beach with chairs and umbrella for the day(s), which eliminates the hassle. Approximately 30 minutes from the Outlet and Mall.

We did the timeshare meeting to see what they had. Once we decided we didn't want to change from what we have they became cold towards us. We did get lunch certificated to sit though the meeting which turned out to be from what we felt the kids menu. We also had an outside room facing the public park/beach area and had to put up with homeless people yelling all night long. Not a lot to do when it rains out.

Highly recommend- location directly on the beach, large heated pool, full bar and restaurant and extremely clean facility. I went with my 3 year old and would recommend to any traveler. Low key with great amenities- highly recommend.

This was our 4th visit to the Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas. Check in is always very smooth. Everyone at the resort is so friendly from the valet guys to the front desk even housekeeping when you see them in the halls they always say hello. People recognize us and say glad you are back and see you next year. We love dining in the restaurant the food is very good and they have great entertainment every night. Each time we are here we can't wait to come back because we really enjoy the resort, we love the rooms we get and we love the beach. I think some of the people that make our stay even more special deserve a mention. Patsy Pinnock Mgr. Schiller in housekeeping he's so helpful and always remembers us and Jenny and Mark down on the beach. We love the Islander grill and have never had a complaint on our food, everyone is excellent, we especially loved our server Cleo. She was extremely friendly and efficient and made very good recommendations for our meals. Hope to see you all again next year!!

The resort is very clean and updated. I have 2 complaints, one there is no luggage racks for quests to use and there are not many bellhops on staff to assist. Second complaint would beware of the sales pitch upon check in. They ask for you to do a survey, NOT A SALES PITCH, but it was false and very misleading.

Upon arrival some disappointment with slow check in process, due to one valet and no other carts available to use on ones own. Vehicles backed up eight to ten car lengths. Other than that unit was clean and very comfortable. Short walk to the beach, great pool area with outdoor bar. On site restaurant with nightly entertainment capped off days end. Food was average and a bit pricy.

The Villas looked awesome from the outside, however, inside very dated. Black mold in our shower. Very outdated furnishings, which were very uncomfortable. A leak in our unit the night before check out, ruining items of mine. Staff not very friendly. Always staff in main elevators with large laundry bins. Covid protocol not followed. The Tiki Bar and restaurant were both very good.

Some nice features but lacks upkeep and manager is the worst. Had a question for her and front desk said she is goofy so don't bother. Room has rust on fixtures and thick dust on vents. They have an exotic bird who is kept in bad conditions by the pool. Talked to manager and she has few business or customer service skills and the personality of a porcupine. Restuarant is okay for breakfast, but there are better places within walking distance for lunch or dinner. Pool and beach are nice.

1- The bad.Yeah the place is a little dated, yeah the Gym is an actual joke. By far the worst hotel / resort gym Ive ever seen. No free weights and 5 old ..really old machines..simply awful gym...yes it feels like an old folks home ..I'm 57 and may have been the youngest there..It was actually scary how I saw no one between the ages of 21-45...I HATE the timeshare stuff shoved down your throat.. 10AM check out really? 2- The good.. Great staff, very friendly..great big rooms, AC ice cold..very clean. The beach and pool are great. Great bartenders..$10 drinks nice and strong..really solid food options

This was our 3rd trip to Palm Beach Shores. We just love this place. Though the buiding is older and a little dated and the rooms are kind of small, it is very clean. The restaurant and it's nightly entertainment is fabulous . Nikko does a great job. Drink prices are very expensive but I guess that's Palm beach. Food s good.

This resort used to have it going on but is failing quickly! Each year it worsens! Especially the service and attitude of restaurant staff and the entertainment! And cleanliness of restaurant, outside dining area, bartender, etc. no one seems to care!

The resort is in a good beach location and access to local shops. It is clean and neat. The staff is always friendly. Say no to the timeshare meeting for the first 2 days on 3rd day. There is a $10 parking fee per day. If you really need valet parking it is available, but the parking lot is only a few step away.

This resort needs a serious upgrade, the kitchen is outdated as is the bathroom. The workout room has room for 3 people, come on. This resort seems to have become a retirement village and I'm 60. The Tiki Hut was under construction for 4 full days, we should have been credited with free drinks at some point. The service and the view were awesome.

Great location on the ocean. Beach was clean and staff were nice. Close to restaurants and shopping and Rt I 95. Pool was nice with plenty of seating. staff was courteous and friendly. Live music at the pool daily gave it a vacation vibe that was enjoyable. Spectacular sunrise over the ocean. we will go back.

I had high expectations given all the 5 star reviews. First of all , this resort is in need of updating. From the old carpets, old tile, worn elevator and bathrooms. There are signs saying “give us a 5 star rating.” I guess it's in the owners best interest to do that. The other complaint we have is the constant harassment to attend a time share presentation. Upon checking in they wouldn't even issue me a parking pass until I met with someone to sign up. I refused, and they called me every day, left notes under the door etc. On another note, the resort is very clean and the pool area is well maintained. They have a nice tiki bar outside— but I need to caution that they allow smoking at the bar, and it seemed that almost everyone smoked there! Our clothes stunk! Although the trip was just my husband and I, It was quite noticeable that it was an older crowd. I saw no activities for kids and only saw 3 children the entire week. We appreciated the quiet but a family may be looking for more. I would not stay here again.

Nice amenities need more updates to the units. The location is amazing. The pool and the tiki bar is a plus. The staff on the beach was very friendly and helpful with the rentals for the beach. It is close to bars and food.

A little off the beaten track (about an hour north of Fort Lauderdale airport), this resort is so very nice. The rooms are 'just enough' in terms of space and amenities. Don't expect to cook big meals on the mini stovetop, but the rest is just fine - especially when you want to spend most of your time in the gorgeous outside. The beach is beautiful (fees for chairs & umbrella). There is a drop-off of a couple of feet a little way after you enter the water, but still standing depth for me at 5' 3". Waves can be almost non existent (at our arrival) or quite heavy (at the time we left), but lots of fun bobbing just beyond the point they break. Not a great swim for kids, though. The pool is great, perfect temperature and a good size with plenty of chairs around it. Towels available for pool or beach. Good music all the time, some live. Live entertainment in the excellent restaurant - had the ribs, the roast beef and the pizza - all were really good, along with the freshly made buns. Definitely one of our better choices for vacation!

Everything is A+ inclusive of amenities, staff, food, accommodations and live music. This resort has it all and more (within walking distance) After coming here, we found out yearly home, now 8 years in a row.

Palm Beach Shores Resort has been our go-to resort for many years. If you go be sure to say hello to Lisa in the Tiki Hut. She is very pleasant and friendly. The pool area overall is as nice as the beautiful beach.

Love the relaxing vibe of this resort. The pool and the palm trees around it are beautiful. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is delicious! Walking distance to restaurants that emanates the vacation/beach atmosphere.

Everything you need is here at Palm Beach shores Nice clean rooms Tiki Bar, nice pool, Ocean front property, Nice restaurant with reasonably priced meals and live entertainment every night. The staff is very friendly and responsive check in is easy, it is close to the airport we don't even rent a car

We've stayed at a number of resorts across the country but don't think we've ever stayed at a place where the staff was a friendly and attentive. From the beach hut, to the spa, to the check in staff to maintenance. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.

We love the island, the resort, the beach, Sailfish Marina, etc. It is a wonderful place to go to relax and explore some too. Resort staff is familiar to us over the years, and even with the Covid restrictions we were not at all disappointed or let down. The reduced pool deck activities and temporary (I think) suspension of the kids Beach Buddies club didn't interfere as our kids are now old enough to go biking, kayaking, etc. The card enabled laundry is a nice little upgrade, the expanded SPA and store are really nice too.

Overall the resort was fine - clean, comfortable, and right on the beach. The staff was fine, not as friendly as other places we've been - almost indifferent. Being on the beach was the biggest draw as that was where we wanted to be this vacation and didn't want to have to spend time driving to the beach daily. Draw backs of this resort - no in unit washer and dryers (huge disappointment) there was a set (I assume on each floor) for community use but you have to pay - didn't like that either. The showers in the units need to be upgraded to have shelving to put your shower products. Also, there is a daily PARKING FEE of $10/day - we booked through Armed Forces and were not aware of the daily parking fee for the resort. On the plus side it is close to Peanut Island, I would suggest you visit there at least once - it's a wonderful place to be able to snorkel! Over all it was fine, we don't need fancy, I prefer functional and efficient and the lack of in unity washer/dryer and shelving in the shower are a big draw back.

Was able to take a few of my friends that I have not seen in years. We had a very relaxing and amazing time. The staff was very courteous and friendly. At the end of our stay we really wanted to stay longer. We can't wait to go back again. We had a perfect beach of the pool and the ocean.

We loved everything about Palm Beach Shores. Right on the ocean, great pool and hot tub, tiki bar, spa, spacious room, plenty of amenities, and a bunch of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We didn't even need a car, but if we had rented one, West Palm Beach is a short drive away, and the rest of the Florida Gold Coast is not too far, either.

Beautiful views. Comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants and ports. Local grocery deliveries and moderate COVID restrictions. Perfect for Business, couples, family, friends, or solo.

This was our second time coming to this resort and it won't be our last!! A few weeks before our arrival we requested for a particular room and they did not hesitate to accommodate us. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. This is the first time we have vacationed (non-inclusive) without having a vehicle. No worries....We were able to order groceries online and have them delivered to the resort. We spend most of our time on the beach and the beach service was reasonable. If you're looking for a quiet place that attracts mostly an older crowd then this resort is perfect! My husband and I are in our early 50's and I felt like we had entered the fountain of youth.

First getaway since Pandemic and this was a great location. We needed beach time. Friendly staff, loved the Tiki Bar and restaurant. Entertainment nightly. Close to other restaurants, Seven-11 and Publix.

Great place to stay. Staff are excellent. The resort is beautiful, clean and well run. The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. Pool area is great with a fabulous fun Tiki bar. The beach is great although a lot of seaweed on my last visit.

Very nice area with a great beach. Beach goes on for miles to the north of the resort. We did a lot of beach walking. Also, walked done the the botanical garden walk just to the west of the resort and walked that over to the water. We enjoyed the area restaurants (Castaway's, Johnny Longboats and of course the Islander). We stayed for a week and had great weather for the most part. Apparently a down time for the area being the end of September and hurricane season.

This was a really great week! Pool area and room were nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Awesome location! Good food at the restaurant. My daughter and I really enjoyed the week there. Will definitely stay again! —————— Thank you!

The location of the property is the only reason we chose this property. If you are looking for a quick get away to have easy access to the beach, then this may be your place to experience once. After your experience you will find that the property is out dated with AC maintenance needed and overall re vamp of the entire property. All carpeting and materials in the property are dated to the 70s. The staff seems to recognize the quality of the property and do not seem happy, and have a low morale. The parking was convenient and they do charge guests 10$ per day. We stayed on the 5th floor on the north side by the tennis courts, and noticed some homeless people living in the park next to the property. They were nice and nothing to worry about from visiting with them, however if you are wanting a worry free vacation spot, this is not it. Our AC did need to get maintenance during our visit, and spilled water throughout the master bedroom. This did create a musty wet smell for the entire visit, and the front desk did nothing to follow up or offer a room change. They did make us and other guest feel like it was a burden for the overall guests to be staying at the property. Covid signs were posted in the main lobby area, however many times the staff themselves were not wearing masks in which did not make it feel that anyone else needed to wear masks at the property. I did wake up early to find staff members sleeping at the front desk on two occasions. The pool area was fine and did have a drink special daily. The walkway to the beach and the beach overall was great. The resort does charge for chairs and umbrellas, but you can take your own. If you take your own, depending on the staff they will ask you to sit outside of the front beach location (in public beach area) with your own equipment. Overall, I will not be returning to this resort and do not recommend that anyone stays here. I did have a great experience because of friends that were able to visit us and share the beach location and snorkeling. Besides the location, it is a property that is very basic, outdated and staff is not performing to even a silver crown expectation. I would recommend staying at a different location for a few dollars more in the area, which will have significantly higher value for similar price and same location. I hope management does do a revamp of the resort as the personnel and overall material and vibe of the property needs it as it is currently failing.

Been here 4 times, always had gorgeous views of the pool and ocean. Rooms are clean, staff very friendly Pool bar and restaurant very good and live music by the pool! Will be back ! Great location! Will be back !

Very clean and this was the perfect location. Could not have asked for a better view. A week at the beach was heaven! Staff were always friendly and helpful. Would most definately stay here again. Great restraunts close by as well!

Nice place to vacation at. Great view, Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Island Cafe is awsome - great food and entertainment. Pool area and outdoor bar awesome. This was our second visit. The toilets are very low is our only complaint and sliding glass doors needs to be replaced as they are very hard to open and close.

This resort was so nice - from the friendly and helpful staff to the pool, Tiki bar by the pool and the restaurant. We have a wonderful week here. The beach was beautiful and had chairs and umbrellas to rent for a relaxing time at the beach.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at the Palm Beach Shores Resort. It was a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere, steps away from the beach and a short walk to several dining options and shopping. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great units and awesome accesses to the beach and they offer you beach chairs and umbrellas for the week. Lots of places to eat but you can cook in your unit. Book a year in advance because others think this place is nice as well.

The resort had a great location, the beach was great, the pool was nice, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Additionally, the team at the beach concessions was outstanding. I highly recommend booking your umbrella and lounge chairs early and for the entire week.

This place is ideal for beach lovers, they also provide towels for the beach which was great, able to save some space in luggage. Tiki Bar was awesome with exceptionally good food, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, just an awesome vacation!!!

loved the "pink" exterior. the nightly entertainment in restaurant was enjoyable as well, the restaurant food was very good with varying quality of service. employees were friendly. highly recommend renting a beach umbrella and chairs, we did and did not regret it

The beach is literally RIGHT THERE! So nice! The staff was amazing. Big shout out to Mark, Jen, Justin, and Brandon for going above and beyond to help my friend, who has MS, get to/from the beach . They work SO HARD and make the beach an even more magical place to be! The Valet's were always so nice and had my car ready by the time I got downstairs, and Ryan was very helpful in solving a little issue we had with our rental car. Everyone was so courteous and kind— really made our stay so much more enjoyable . Definitely would recommend! Was already looking into booking another trip before we even left this one!

We just stayed for our first time and will definitely be going back. The resort is older but it is very clean and well maintained. The rooms could stand to be updated but it was spacious enough and very clean and that's more important. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The bathroom had a separate shower stall from the tub and I would prefer a larger shower but it was fine. The pool area was very nice. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and it's a short walk to the beach, which is just wonderful and definitely the best feature of this resort. The only drawback to the pool area was the live music several afternoons that was way too loud. It was very difficult to have a conversations with my husband or other guests. The singer wasn't the best and several of us in the pool commented on how loud it was when he would take a break. There is a restaurant on site and a tiki bar that serves food at the pool area. We had dinner in the restaurant our first night upon arrival and the service was terrible. We were seated outside and we never saw our waitress again after our order was taken. Someone else brought us our food, no one ever checked on us or offered to refill our drinks, we had to ask for our check and then was told our waitress was very busy inside. And they add 18% gratuity to every check. Because of the service we were reluctant to try them again. We did order burgers to go one evening and they were delicious. We had a great time during out stay and will most likely go back next year.

Had the pleasure of staying at this location and it was very nice. Pool had plenty of space, beach was on premises and they have a great restaurant/bar available on the premises as well. Their pizza is amazing!

This resort seems to cater to an older crowd (possible just the week we were there - Labor Day - or due to Covid?). The music around the pool was bad karaoke. Restaurant and Bar were fabulous! Room was great too, but if kids are expected it would be good to have some non-glass options for small plates/bowls/cups.

PBSR is my favorite location on the beach in South Florida... Fantastic views!! I've been going to PBSR since 2015 and since COVID-19 I've been here at least 6 times and I planned 6 more in the near future. Love the chill vibe and the beach is amazing!! I recommend requesting a room on the 5 or 6 floor of North Tower for best views as close as possible to the ocean.

Living in Florida we have many beautiful beaches, but for a staycation we like Singer Island. We had an end unit this time with a lock off studio. The beach and pool were not crowded which we were happy about with COVID coming back. We also like the convenience of the restaurant and tiki bar on property and other eateries nearby. Our boat club(FBC) is nearby for fishing or just cruising the Intercoastal.The staff is very courteous and helpful. We enjoy going back.

The resort was excellent and no complaints. The beach was clean and right in back of the resort. Plenty of chairs around the pool which was also clean. Restaurants were just a short walk from the resort and they were all very good. Definitely recommend the resort and will return.

Kind staff. Lacks enough disabled parking. No balls or small floats allowed in pool. Afternoon live music by Bob was excellent! Evening live music in restaurant was fun. Daily drink specials at tiki pool bar, plus excellent service. Kid friendly.

When I first drove into the lot, the view of the resort was WOW! But then I noticed of how tight it was to get in the registration area to get out. The resort itself was tight between the other larger resorts. Valet people were johnny on the spot with helpfulness. The doorman was courtliest and helpful. Registration was quick and easy. Property was always being cleaned. Our rooms were somewhat small in the kitchen area. The lockout doors, once open, were in front of the refrigerator. Our balcony view was over the parking lot but we could see the elegance of other resorts and some of the beach and ocean. There was not a washer and dryer in the room - hallway coin driven community washer and dryer? Dining and the servers were pleasant and helpful. Nice to see entertainment at evening dinner. The Tikki bar at poolside and the pool area was relaxing. Entertainment at the pool in the afternoon. Nice boardwalk to the ocean beach. The beach property was well groomed and plenty of lounges to rent. The rentals for ocean fun were at another location but you could use a shuttle. Across the street was a stripmall of shops and eating. I think the overall location of this resort was unbeatable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. Very nice, large condo space. Restaurants near by, within walking distance. Beach services were very nice. Pool and Tiki Bar a lot of fun. I will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed our time at this resort. Were disappointed that we had a room overlooking the street so be prepared for less than a great view. Left something behind and they were very helpful in getting it returned to me.

Altogether, we are happy with this resort. However, the unit we were placed in, room 108 was much smaller than the other units and faces the pool filtration system so our whole view was buckets of chemicals. The area is very nice and the ocean water is beautiful. It is much more affordable than Palm Beach proper but still has a view restaurants within walking distance.

One of our FAVORITE vacation spots for a beach vacation. Atmosphere and food are exceptional! The beach access is great and Get Wet Sports is right at the end of the beach access boardwalk, where you can rent beach chairs, umbrellas with table and book various water sport activities.

We stayed here for a week, and just got to rest up. No going constantly, and just enjoying getting away from the news, and negative things, going on in the world. Could sleep in, eat when we wanted at the restaurant, and just be lazy. The staff is excellent, and many of them have been here for years. Thank you to Lisa, Julie, Kelly, Levi, Chris, Isaiah, and of course, Marco. They all made our stay Great!!

Excellent room, beautiful beach, great Tiki-bar by the pool. Within walking distance to other bars and restaurants. Palm Beach Shores is a pretty little town with a nice marina on the bay side - short drive to downtown West Palm Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort! It was in a great location - we loved the beach. All the people we met were fantastic, including the GETWET staff at the resort's beach; Mark and Jenny, Bob, the Vacation Village timeshare representative, and the front desk/concierge folks.

Just returned from a week's stay at the Palm Beach Shores Resort & Vacation Villas, which I did through an RCI exchange. I had a one bedroom unit with kitchen (full sized fridge, 2-stove electric burner, small sink and dishwasher). The bathroom was huge, with double sink, shower and bathtub. All in all it was an enjoyable and relaxing stay and I would do another exchange here in the future. Friendly staff, no sales second time share sales pitch ( i think cuz i avoided an offer for free breakfast/lunch), pretty good food and drink at the Islander Restaurant for reasonable prices. I definitely enjoyed the Maine Lobster on Thursday night. The wifi worked well and I certainly enjoyed my two large TVs. The king size bed was firm and comfortable! I got good rest while on vacation. I had a nice room on the north side of the building that had a partial view of the ocean in the distance. It was quiet generally but you can certainly hear when people run water or move furniture around in the units around you. As others commented, the color scheme/decor is slightly outdated but that really didn't bother me as I was not expecting the Four Seasons. I wanted an unfussy getaway and that's what I got. There is a small spa on site. I really enjoyed getting massages there. Shirley and Maytee are excellent massage therapists! Lynn, the owner, is very friendly too. The pool has pleasant live music during the week. One complaint is that there are no umbrellas there and you have to find the few places where the palm trees provide natural shade. There is a $10 parking fee per day for registered guests, which seems rather high, given that there are no free parking options around. Also, like half or more of the parking lot is dedicated to valet! Since that seems to be an income earner for them too- it seems like maybe $7 or $8 /day for parking your car as a REGISTERED and PAYING guest- would be more reasonable. The beach is wide and beautiful. A separate company does beach chair and umbrella rentals. Mark and his crew were great and I enjoyed my front row beach chair during my stay! Re: covid precautions: When I got there, apparently corporate had just started requiring masking indoors again. There are signs around but I would say 50-50 that guests abide by it. While irked, I wasn't terribly surprised since it is Florida, whose government and residents have had issues making logical safety decisions about preventing the spread of COVID. Most staff were abiding by it when indoors (like at the front desk). The outdoor staff at the pool would wear their mask while interacting with you and at the beach for beach rental that is run by a different company, and they are not required to mask, which seemed fine since we were outdoors interacting very little. I always wore my mask while indoors in public spaces and then generally removed it when outdoors as no one was really around me. I would strongly suggest they should do better enforcement or put more reminders (other than just the elevators) to remind gusts to wear their masks! Like put a sign in guest rooms on the back of the doors so that when people leave their unit they remember their mask.

When we arrived at check in we requested a room that had ocean view. Before the entleman could respond a woman spoke over him and stated that they would make that decision when the room was ready. That seams odd since I am sure that they have a list of ALL rooms that will be available after that days checkout. Needlesss to say we were assigned a room facing the pool and NOT the ocean and had no balcony railings but there was a concrete wall. That employees name was PATSY and I must say she would benifit greatly in getting some sensitivity training ! Shge was not a very pleasant person and rather abrupt! As for the resort: the location is great! Rooms are nice but have dated furniture etc.. But the rooms and the resort are clean and to me thats more important than up to date furniture. ALL of the employees that we encountered (except Patsy) were professional, polite and very accommodating. The employees seam to be a great asset for this resort. Food and drink were average. We booked this reservation through our DVC membership and I can tell you from the poor room location we received I feel the pecking order for room assignment is as follows: Resort Owners, People that are there for a sales presentation to buy at Palm Shores, RCI members and DVC member exchange LAST ! It is for this reason I would never recommend the resort to any DVC member exchange. Once again ALL of the employees that we interacted with were GREAT ! EXCEPT PATSY!!

Really enjoyed the location and layout of the resort. We spent 7 nights at PBSR starting on August 1. Really searched long and hard to find a location that was beach front and was enlisting safe COVID practices. After reading all the reviews I can honestly say that they are ALL true. It really comes down to your expectations and values. The facts: This is a fairly small 6 story beach front resort. It has everything that you need on a small scale. It offers easy access to beach and has a pool and onsite restaurant and outdoor tiki bar. It has two groups of elevators and adequate parking. All rooms have a balcony and mini kitchen. There are offsite restaurants within close walking distance as well as a convenience store. A full grocery store is just across the bridge on the mainland. Its less than 10 minutes by car. The beach is really nice such as most of the lower Florida coast. There's a 10 daily parking fee even though the sign says 5. The opinions: This is where you have to determine what's important to you. If you are looking for a location that is providing some level of protection from COVID and is focusing on the safety of its staff this place is NOT for you. However, I would have to assume this is the general rule of thumb for FL. IMO the visible COVD safety protocols solely consist of the sign that I posted as an image. I totally understand that it has become difficult to enforce social distancing and mask wearing in a place like FL. However, the norm that we experienced over the 7 days at PBSR was an overwhelming lack of precautions. The majority of employees that we interacted with did not wear masks. This included the ones that you choose to interact with and the ones that you are conscripted to deal with. Starting at valet driver that offered to valet our car without a mask. At the front door we were informed that there are no self-service luggage carts and you have to use the bellhop to get access a dolly. No issues but in our experience the move in bellhop did not wear a mask. However, the one on the move out did. To make it worst the incoming bellhop had a mask on but it was around his chin. Even while in the elevator. Just to set the stage I am a vaccinated person that always wore a double mask in the building and when around others. It was only removed when outside and not face to face with someone. By double mask I mean a medical mask and a cloth double layer fabric mask over top. One would think that on seeing a guest wearing a double mask staff would be inclined to pull their mask up from their chin or put on a mask. For the most part this did not happen. Its the same for the check in process. The interaction with the check-in staff was with mask around their chins. This sends a clear message that masks are not required even though there is a sign at the check in desk that says that masks are required per corporate policy. We intended to use the onsite restaurant but did not since it was more of the same. We stepped into the restaurant and the hostess was a chin wearer. Also there was rotating live entertainment, singers performers, and waiters in the closed space all without distancing or masks. Due to this we did not use the inside or outside dining option. We thought that it would be safer to use poolside or beachside waiter service. However, we did not use this service for the same reason. The bar staff though friendly did not have masks and tended to come directly up into your personal space to offer drinks and food. Which seemed too risky, so we avoided the interactions. My assumption is that I would have spent a minimum of $100 a day between the restaurant and bar if I thought the staff were following any sort of safety protocol. I assume its difficult to get and keep waiters, but the un-uniformed casualness of the current staff did not invoke the thought that they were employing COVID protocols. Just to be fair there were times when some employees did wear masks and there were some employees that had a mask on every time, we saw them but it was less way less than half. Regarding the guest. There are a lot of kids especially those under 12. Very few guests wore masks inside. I would place it at 10% including kids. There were multiple times when an unmasked guests would board the elevator and try to pack in as many as possible. Just as an example once we boarded the elevator and had the door reopen just as it closed. The cleaning staff in the hall had pressed the elevator call button so that a family of 4 with small kids with no masks could make the elevator along with us. They were pretty far down the hall. While under normal circumstances this was a nice gesture it indicates that there are no training standards in place to limit the number of people from different families in closed spaces like the elevator. I seems strange that parents would want to place their under 12 kids into a crowded elevator with people they did not know. We had no issues with the room. It includes a full-size refrigerator and a two-burner cook top. The bathroom has double sinks and seems large for the size of the overall room. There is a separate bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The room was clean but was dated. This is a matter of perception. I would date the décor of the room from the early 2000's brown and tan phase. There's a balcony and a sign in the room encourages smoking only form the balcony. This was what it was. We found that the adjacent room had a smoker that seemed to smoke heavily from their balcony and that rolled the wonderful smell of cheap cigarettes into our balcony area. Also by the pool there's a designated smoking area away from the main space. But the restaurant placed an ashtray on top of a trashcan in the center of the pool area. This temporary smoking area was heavily used by those in the restaurant and bar. Basically, there's a 20-foot area of the non-smoking pool lounge area that gets a hefty dose of smoke. Our experience was if you are looking for a place to get away and have a normal experience where kids can be kids and COVID is something that is made up in the media you will really enjoy this place. No one will pressure you to socially distance or impose any mandates on you or your kids. Roll the dice and see what happens. The rooms are a little old, but the beach is large with amazing blue water and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. If you have an expectation that the resort is trying to protect its employees or guests, you may want to look someone else. It would be really nice to return to PBSR after the pandemic has passed and COVID is gone.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit which was small. The pullout was not comfortable but we mad it work. the PROS: were it was right on the beach, big bathroom, nice pool area although I think it is small for the size of the resort. Very clean resort. Close to store, restaurants and local attractions. CONS: No washers and dryers, dishwasher in the one bedroom is very tiny and did not work well, had to pay $10 a day for parking. Overall I would definitely recommend.

We visited this gold crown resort about 10 years ago or so and nothing has changed. Well, they did move the parrot. The decor in the dining room is super outdated. As is the carpet on the unit floors and in decor the rooms. The layout in our one bedroom had a spacious bathroom, much larger than the living space. The pool was crowded and they had live performers there everyday. It had a very 80s vibe. On the upside, the food was good in the restaurant. They definately have someone who can cook. The beach experience is fabulous. I had the best pedicure of my life there. It is conveniently located. The employees were responsive.

This was our second time at the resort and can't wait to go back next year. The ocean is warm and clean. The apartment was spacious and clean. There is a big screen TV with lots of channels and guide. There is a walk on the island with all kinds of tropical plants.

The Resort was Fantastic. Many Children there but all well behaved. Great location, beach front with terrific pool. Extremely good restaurant with Great prices and live entertainment nightly. Pleasant stay

Great views from balcony on North side...You can't be in this spot on Singer Island for less than twice the money in any other venue. Easy beach access, nice pool area. Very responsive hotel staff. Sometimes tough for self-parking, but OK if you valet....PS

Have been going here for years and love the place. Pattsie is a wonderful person and always does her best to help make our stay perfect. So many familiar faces over the years makes it feel more like family .

This Resort needs a whole new make over. The location is Great,however the pool is very small for the size of the resort. Because of the tile floors it's very noisy when the chairs are move around. They should put the felt disk on the legs of the chairs.

Nice place but needs an upgrade in the unit. The stove top barely worked. The pool has absolutely no shade and no umbrellas. The chairs were on top of each other with no social distancing. The self park is $70. for the week which is abusive to guests. Otherwise the beach is very nice. The staff is very friendly, except for an agent pushing time share presentations who deceives guests by telling them it is not a presentation, and is a short viewing of a unit. It ended up being over a 2 hour presentation ruining half my day. Very dishonest on the part of the sales agent who twisted our arm to sign up.

Palm beach shores is my home resort. my family and I look forward to going back to our home resort every other year. The beaches are great, the staff is always ready to help you in any way they can, the food service is always a good value for the dollar. in closing going to palm beach shores is like going home for vacation.

The resort was small but it fit all our needs. The view from the room was amazing (room 501). We stayed for a week, we rented a car and we needed it. The beach was beautiful and the spa was amazing (ask for Maytee and Sherlie). There is a great Marina close to the resort with access to fishing, snokerling, etc. We will go again!

This was the 10th year of our Cole Family Beach Week at this resort and we loved it. Dive, kayak, beach, snorkel, fish.......... it is all available. The water is awesome and clear. A few drinks by the pool and/ or in the ocean is the perfect way to end the day. Beware of the timeshare people..... they over promise and under deliver.

This is an all inclusive resort. Everything was provided. The staff was very friendly. The beach was beautiful and only a boardwalk away. The pool and the grounds were extremely clean and well maintained. Shopping is close by. We had a wonderful stay there.

You will not like this place at all. Even if you beg you will end up having a parking lot view. I begged for an ocean view or a pool view. I did not get what we wanted. I call serval months in advance.

This resort was by far the best we have stayed at over the last 10 years. The staff, service and convenience of this resort was fabulous. The resorts location in relation to the pool and beach was wonderful. Having our beach furniture set up for us each day, for a nominal fee, was outstanding. We hope to go back soon. .

Although the facility looks a little old the suites and the facility is spotless and well kept. It could use a minor face lift like changing the faucet handles and some of the other room facilities. The staff is outstanding and always looking to help and answer any questions with a friendly and knowledgeable response. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a beach resort with a friendly staff easy access to the beach and don't forget to say hello to the friendly bar tenders at the great Tiki Bar off the pool area.

Resort is well maintained. On-site restaurant has great food and many other restaurants with.5 miles. Publix grocery store a 3 minute drive. Went on a snorkeling tour. Save your money. It was expensive and you can access the area from the bay side with everyone else that knew better. Buy your gear and toss if you want at the end of your trip. It will be cheaper. Expect $180 for renting 2 chairs/umbrella/table for the week. Worth the price if this is your beach vacation. Take a soft cooler for your favorite drink, buy at the grocery store. Tropical drinks from the bar are $12 and not something you can drink all day. Everything you order has a 18% gratuity.

You cannot receive your parking pass until you sign up for a "free" breakfast and a quick tour of the models. This turned into 2 hours of wasted time and aggravation. I did not appreciate the high pressure sales pitch and waste of a beautiful morning and did not go on vacation to sit inside and listen to someone tell me they are going to teach me "a lot". I have been a Disney Vacation Club member for 21 years and have never experienced anything like this. The rooms are small and are need of updating. Read the reviews before you stay here.

We learned a lesson, The location was great lots of restaurants within walking distance. But a pleasent surprising was the on site restaurant, it was great. I would give it 5 stars. Make sure to Read THE REVIEWS.

I have been coming here for about 15 years and will not be back. It looks quite worn and dated, plus I don't appreciate being given suites without a beach view two times in a row. Regarding the resort timeshare tour, I was booked with the guise that I would be having lunch at a certain time, which turned into 2.5 hours of stress before lunch- never again. Not a happy customer! For older folks please note that the toilet is so low that it is almost on the floor- not good for knees.

First room at check-in not so good. Small room overlooking parking lot and could not secure entry door for the night (second complaint with different desk personnel provided better results). After bringing up room security we got assigned an even number room (small) on the third floor with a descent view (somehow room miraculously freed up). Seems like timeshare exchange guest (not home ownership) are assigned not so desirable rooms at resort. Even number rooms are overlooking pool and beach area and odd number rooms are overlooking parking areas (from what I can assess). Rooms are dated and needs updating including appliances. Room had a door to another room next door and we could hear all conversations like they were in our room. Sometimes this went on after 11pm. Good a/c in room. Room was clean. Beach area is nice and very professional personnel (Mark) working the umbrella stand. Singer Island is a nice place with really nice beaches and friendly people. Over all a pleasant vacation experience and would visit again.

All bathrooms clean, friendly staff & servers, great food at Tiki bar & Islander Grill; the live band each night. i enjoyed my 7days relaxing at pool & beach. Surrounding shops, restaurants & Gator grocery store a plus.

While staying at the Palm Beach Shores Resort and Vacation Villas we were dissatified with the facilities. A faulty door to the balcony almost caused us to get locked out. A backed up toliet, waking up to sludge in the kitchen sink, and constant smell of cigarette smoke on the balcony and common aireas made our trip less than ideal. The hot tub near the pool was down all week and no one worked on it the whole week.

This was our first visit to Palm Beach Shores. It is an older resort but well-maintained and very clean. It is self-contained and has a great many amenities: massage/spa; fitness center; pool; ocean swimming; restaurant. Our two bedroom corner unit overlooked the pool and the ocean. The partial kitchen had all the items needed for the meals we ate in. We were especially pleased with the restaurant. The food was excellent and the servers were pleasant and accommodating. However there was insufficient staff and the service tended to be slow. That was not a detriment. There were other restaurants in a shopping area a short distance from the resort but we did not eat in any of them. We did journey out to visit the Henry Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. The $18 entrance fee was well worth it as the the museum was a most enjoyable place to tour and learn about one of the founders of Standard Oil and his important influence on tourism in Florida with the Florida East Coast Railway. All-in-all, we were very happy with our visit to this resort.

We've just returned from a week at Palm Beach Shores Resort. It was not our first stay there, and it won't be our last. This resort knows how to do it right. The property is well maintained and there is attention to detail. My daughter commented that while it is not the newest property we have stayed at, they are well focused on taking care of their guests. You want for nothing when there. There is a restaurant on site with excellent food and entertainment. The tiki bar at the pool adds a fun vibe. The beach service offers chair/umbrella rentals. And the beach is exquisite. You feel safe and pampered. There are restaurants and a coffee shop just around the corner. For this visit, we skipped the rental car and used a car service from the airport to the resort. Special thanks to Patsy who has always made us feel so very welcome and taken excellent care of our every need. This level of customer care is exceptional and rare. Thank you for another amazing vacation!

The resort is in a great location within walking distance to numerous dining options so we did not rent a car. We liked that it was right on the beach. We did not like having to rent beach chairs & umbrellas. The 1 bedroom unit was a good size, but the bed, couch, and chair provided were very uncomfortable. They all need to be replaced. I would not even want children to sleep on the sofa bed. The bathroom was a good size with ample storage. The kitchen had everything needed for our stay. The front desk personnel were good, but slow on check in as they did not seem to know what to do with us since we did not have a car and they could not make us get a parking pass (timeshare pitch). They made up for it with daily flyers on our door. We unplugged the phone upon arrival so they would not annoy us that way and I'm glad we did as we plugged it in right before leaving and there were messages we left there. Luckily they did not call our cell phones. The pool towel personnel were rude and ALL towels you provide should be beach towel size. Many days we got one beach towel and one hand towel. That is not good enough for adults. The pool needs chairs in the shade. Not one umbrella or shade area is provided around the pool and the lounge chairs were packed in with no distancing. This is a consistent complaint with this resort and the Florida sun is HOT. The restaurant was decent on site. We had three breakfasts there and learned to be very specific on how we wanted things cooked. We had one lunch at the Tiki Hut but were not impressed with our burgers. We had one happy hour in the bar inside and the pizza was good and the bartender was nice and friendly. I did call two weeks prior to get an ocean view and high floor room (there are 6 floors). We were given room 507 which had a sideways view of the ocean and overlooked the public park next door. Don't plan to sleep in on the weekend as soccer tournaments started at 7 am and there were beach volleyball games in the evening. Overall this was a good room, and the two elevators on our wing were speedy.

When we arrived, the person at the counter was rude, and generally felt annoyed with everyone there, including the staff around him. The unit was dirty(dust and mold everywhere), there were ANTS on the night stands, dining table and the kitchen. When we called the front desk about these issues we got the same person. He laughed at the problems we were having and hung up the phone. The units are very dated and need much a lot of TLC. We have stayed in this resort 4 times in the past 5 years and this is by far the worst we have ever stayed anywhere. We will not be coming back.

We did pre register online but upon arriving at the Palm Beach Shores we had an unpleasant experience with a manager at the front desk where we had to go to finalize the registration. He was very abrupt with stating my husband must wear a mask to be registered! It would be nice it we knew that ahead of time. Gov. DeSantis opened FL up where mask were not required. We had just come from another resort in FL where NO mask were required as Governor DeSantis stated. Why does this establishment not uphold the Governors ruling? But as I passed through the Lobby during the week the people behind the registration area had their mask below their chin! So why are you so abrupt with your patrons? We were trying to enjoy the pool when a maintenance man woke us up to state our chairs could not be 5 inches in the sand? The only shade provide was if you were at the bar and at the tables where they ate! But no umbrellas are allowed for the clients who pay, even if you bring your own! The chairs were under a little shade from one of their trees on a sandy area. Maintenance complained they were on the MULCH!! There was NO MULCH , NO UMBRELLAS, & NO SHADE. I did speak to the manager - Robert later, who asked me to show him where our chairs were. I showed him and he said that was no issue and he would speak to the maintenance man. So the next day my lounge chair was on the patio with my water, coffee, and bag next to it. As I was in the pool the maintenance man went over and pulled my chair further down toward the pool. The chair was exactly where they had placed it the day before. I saw this happen from the pool. So I got out to go to my chair and my coffee along with my water was spilled all over the ground!! The Manager spoke with this same man the day before? So why is he so spiteful? Now my coffee was gone along with my water. Later the hotel representative was complaining to another guess about sitting under a tree with her laptop. NO ONE is allowed to move into the shade of the trees in the back. So I did mention what happened to my coffee and water to her, and suggested they offer some umbrellas for the paying guess. She said she would suggest it but told me people come to Florida for SUN!! Well I know a lot of people who love Florida but still need to be in the shade for their children and their selves. They also kept their Hot Tub closed the entire time. But hotels right next to them - The Marriott had both of theirs open! More rules from Covid only at this hotel! I would try an pick another resort if you would like to relax, This is definitely not the place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Moms, this review is for you! First and foremost, the VERY best thing about this resort is Shirlie at the spa. The best advice I can give you is to schedule a massage with her. I ended up doing two (and wish I had done more). It has been my favorite thing about this vacay. Secondly, the kitchens in the units are very small. Don't expect to cook much. No real oven and two tiny cook tops. The fridge is big, so that's a plus! Bring your own towels. You have to sign out for the towels at the pool and they can run out. I don't need the stress of returning towels, so I'm glad I brought some. There is one washer/dryer per floor. That's not a lot. They add gratuity to all drinks and services. I made the mistake of double tipping a few times. The pool is great...the beach sand gets sooooo hot that it feels like lava. I'm NOT joking. I almost cried one day walking back! Reserve your beach chairs before you leave. Get the chairs closest to the ocean (and closest to the boardwalk). GO TO THE SPA! You will be sooo happy you did! It's clean and family friendly!

The resort was nice and has plenty to offer for a week stay. We recommend rooms ending with an even # which have a view of the pool and or ocean, odd # ending rooms face the parking lot and in our case the roof of the entrance area and parking lot and were told they couldn't move us until Monday afternoon. Best to contact the resort a couple weeks ahead of time to try to request a room with a view. Spoke with other guests that were just there for the weekend that had great views, would think that checking in for a week should get a good view compared to guests only there for a couple days. We had our own umbrella and were told we could set up on the resort beach and had to go to the public beach next to the resort, unless we rented one of the resorts umbrella. We were not happy with that policy. There is a nice pool side bar and food area and the staff were very attentive and the food and drinks were very good. There is a nice park next to the resort and nice restaurants with-in walking distance, also a beach supply store with a lot of variety. The pros of the resort outweighed the cons and we would recommend with some insight.

This was a great destination for my family with toddlers to just enjoy beach:pool time. Low key, easy and walkable! They even had a playground! I am excited to go back again as kids get older to do more things.

This was my second visit to the resort. While my first experiece was very good, an incredible second experience simply validated the fact that this is one of the best resorts I have visited during my many years (18 years) of taking timeshare vacations. Very good location, oceanfront with amazing views and an incredibly professional and friendly staff make this a perfect trifecta. The units are wekk appointed and clean. The restaurant has good fod and music and the property is well maintained. Any reasonable request for additional supplies etc. is VERY quickly fulfilled. Front desk staff is very nice (we love PATSY) and will even call back to followup on whether our call-in requests (for supplies etc) was fulfilled. I plan on trying to visit every year. This is a great family or couple oriented place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is gorgeous, and really conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a great size, clean, and well stocked. Large bathroom with shower and tub, and dual sinks. Comfortable bed, couch less so. A few downsides: they charge $30 a day for beach chairs, which I've never experienced at another beach resort. There were signs up that masks were required in common areas, but this was not enforced at all. The parking lot is very tight, and guests have to park off to the side because the closer parking is reserved for valet.

The resort is average; however, the access to the beach is why you stay at the resort. The rooms are in need of upgrade and are small. The laundry is in a common area and only takes coins. Parking is $10 a day. The pool and poolside bar are nice. You can walk to restaurants.

We stayed here for a few days, had a suite with kitchenette on first floor. Nice enough staff/service, pool gets crowded and loud, but private beach is lovely and yes you pay for umbrella and chairs if you want that which is about $11/ hour or $35 for the day but I thought that was fine and worth it. Much more peaceful and beautiful than the pool. Decor wise suite looks a bit dated, very early 80s but was really quite large and well appointed if you want to prepare your own meals. Bathroom was huge and room is quiet and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Not much housekeeping due to covid but that's fine. Very close to a small, lively strip of restaurants and a knickknack store if you need a coverup or beach shoes and don't want to spend hotel shop prices...though I did buy flip flops from the hotel and the store keeper was very lovely and helpful, so that is a good option too! Good coffee place a tiny bit further down, past the restaurants, by the sort of mall next door. I really recommend this place, not glam but I very much felt at home here and would absolutely stay again!

Folks it started with check-in. The Governor of Florida lifted the mask ban but this tyrannical resort opted to keep it. the tyrannical check in manager suggested i place a diaper on my face . i said i didn't have one he said go in the gift shop and buy one. you think a high price resort that caters to the rich and famous didn't have a throw away masks to give to the customers. After check in to get your parking pass you must pass through the time share tyrant who offers you a free meal to attend a presentation . after you say no thanks the offers keep coming then you are called rude for waving her off. imagine that you are rude for not accepting a high pressure presentation and wasting 3 or 4 hours of your vacation for a free lunch. ok got past check-in lets head to the pool only to be met by the pool area tyrant. there is no shade anywhere in the pool area no umbrellas allowed. I placed my lounge chair about 2 feet off the pool deck to claim some shade but the pool tyrant says i cannot do that the 2 feet was mulch and YOU CANNOT PLACE YOUR CHAIR ON THE MULCH. ok lets head to the beach only to be told you cant place your sand chair in front of the hotel you must place it outside the ZONE !!!!!!! The ZONE is reserved for the company that rents umbrellas and beach chairs. This resort charges you $10 a day for parking your car . They have another company that offers valet parking and they have the best parking spots for them . You must find a place farther away from the entrance . you pay $200 plus to stay here and get treated like crap!!! It is a hard lesson learned but i cant wait to get out of this tyrannical place!!!!

Palm Beach Shores worked well for us. We needed to veg for a week, and decided to avoid FL car rental prices plus the $10/night parking fee at the resort, so we tried Lyft from PBI and back, and it worked out great. The area around the hotel is very nice, with walking trails and a restaurant strip very close, and Publix delivers. The restaurant kitchen at Palm Beach Shores is very good, and so was the live music on the jazz and Motown nights. RCI exchangers should expect to be assigned to "island view" rooms that are better described as "rear parking lot view", but our request for a move to "ocean view" the first morning was granted with no hassle, which we appreciated. We met other RCI exchangers around the pool who did not request a room move and were disappointed. Also, being directed to the side of the property if you don't rent a lounge chair for $35/day is pretty tacky. Overall: We'll probably go back and cross our fingers that we can move to ocean view again (it makes a big difference on a resort vacation).

Palm Beach Shores resort was lovely, well-maintained, polite staff. The resort was on the beach which was great. Renting beach chairs and umbrellas was a bit on the expensive side, but a necessity. The resort pool was nice but a bit small for the size of the resort. The hot tub was unavailable for our stay. I would not recommend the restaurant attached to the resort, but the bar service at the outdoor bar was superb.

Trip was very nice and all employees were extremely courteous and helpful. We have been traveling to Palm Beach Shore for over fifteen years and we have never had a problem. We very much are looking forward to our next visit to Palm Beach Shores....

Worst resort ever. Don't stay here. Money for nothing. Tip for valet and use of cart. Figure extra $150. Rude harrasing pool attendent. Thank God leaving tomorrow. Good riddance. We'll never stay here again. Fire the pool attendent. Manager is worthless too.

This older resort is beautifully maintained! The addition of valet service and someone who handles your luggage is great for seniors! Add a doorman and the best restaurant on Singer Island to beautiful beaches and extremely helpful staff and you have the perfect vacation. Daily towel exchange and garbage collection as well as mid-week cleaning are suspended due to COVID, but all it takes is a phone call to the front desk and towels are at your door almost immediately. Garbage is collected outside your door at 10am daily. Furniture is old, but very well maintained!

Our stay at this resort was not as expected. Upon arriving there was a long line in the parking lot waiting for check in at 5:00pm that was not moving. Carts were not made available to guests unless used by Valet Staff. The Units are very old and outdated. Upon arrival, the patio door handle in our unit was broken and the commode did not flush. So maintenance had to be called twice to our unit within an hour of our arrival. The view of the ocean from our balcony was very limited due to the concrete wall on our very small balcony with the view of the parking lot and tree line. On the plus side, we did enjoy the Tiki Bar / pool and The Islander Grill ( on location ) the food was very good! Also, short walking distance to the beach.

If you aren't renting a car, ask the hotel for driver recommendation. Nightly specials at the onsite restaurant and entertainment. Awesome food. Water is crystal clear, and seaweed is cleaned up daily in front of the resort.

There's nothing about this resort that's not excellent but my special time is in the salon. Anastasia is one of Palm Beach Shores' gems. She looks like a retired ballerina, but we talked all things culinary and kids. She actually began working in the salon when a friend bought it years ago. She left to start a family but came back. Like we all do. The pedicures are always great but I really like the way she shaped the nails and somehow got them extra shiny. It's a skill to engage strangers in an intimate setting. What I noticed was how she introduced a topic but steered the conversation to me, creating a nice back-and-forth. I've never had my sandals put back on for me but I guess that's my point: Anastasia will take good care of you.

Loved this place and it actually grew on us as the week progressed. But we did have one major issue that I wanted to warn folks about. Upon check in I was directed to another counter to receive my "parking pass". But what they are really trying to do is lure you into a timeshare tour. As an owner of multiple timeshares, I knew what was going on. However, in this case I was blatantly lied t to by whoever signed us up. We were told since we were not there with our own week, we would only have to tour a unit, then get a very brief overview of the program. On my reservation document they even marked out the part that said "receive new vacation industry updates." This was the only reason I agreed to do the tour. The day of the tour, I let our salesperson (who was great by the way) go on for about 30 minutes and I told her what they told me at the front desk and showed her the document. She showed it to a manager, but then still proceeded with her presentation and said she had to finish it with us in order for us to qualify for the incentive. Bottom line is we spent over 3 hours on this tour - wasted the first afternoon we were at the resort. That is time we can never get back. It is not worth it!

Palm Beach Shores Resort is top notch resort. Small enough to feel like family but large enough to have all the amenities that you would want. We rarely exchange for any other place to stay. There is a private beach, top notch restaurant, a guest shop, a spa with expert therapists, and a friendly atmosphere. It is in walking distance to other restaurants and shops. And only ten minutes to drive to other shops and grocery store.

Our recent stay here was a great getaway from the northern weather. From the front desk folks to the housekeeping, pool and restaurant staff, everyone was very helpful and hard working. To us, the four main features of the resort include the direct beach access, the on-site restaurant with nightly entertainment, the pool area and the off-site restaurants all within walking distance. The beach group not only handles beach chairs and umbrellas, but can also arrange jet skis, para-sailing and cruises along the inter coastal water way. We opted for the sunset cruise that left from the local marina. We did drive over early and enjoyed dinner at the marina before the cruise. This is an older resort, a converted Radisson built probably in the 1990s and converted to time shares in the 2000s. It has been maintained well. Appears they took the recent Covid-19 downtime to paint and power wash everything in sight. Bottom line is we would return again.

Worst staff and place to stay. Old and smell of old furniture. Too expensive for what you get. Would not refer it to anyone else. Front desk and welcoming were agree all the time. Did not want to help with any questions. Had to ask for towels to be brought over and staff did not want to take the dirty towels. Will never stay there again.

Very nice place. Usually have wonderful activities but because of Covid they stopped but I hope they continue them once this has stopped. They are charginng the same price for NOT the same service. They need their Customer Service person back.

This is not a Gold Crown Resort in my opinion. It is old and dated. And they gave us a room with two double beds! Not Queen, but double! The only room they had with a King was on the first floor they said. We wanted an ocean view, which we got, but only two double beds! The location was fine, and the ocean view was nice, but as I said, it is old and dated. Maybe it;s Gold Crown because of the amenities, which was nice that it's on the beach, and there is a restaurant on site, which was good, but other than that it is not a particularly nice place.

Building is run down from age but do able. Food mediocre at best. Had to drive to west palm for better food. Beach is private and you are not allowed to bring your own umbrella because they are trying to force rentals on you. The hotel hires company to run there beach so they don't want you to sit in the area with your own stuff. First day we brought chairs they made us move. They next day we brought an umbrella they made us move to public beach. Ocean was the only good thing. This is the last year with RCI and back to normal vacations.

Great location and lots to do. Love the ocean views. Lots of places to walk to for dinner and drinks. People and staff were awesome. The unit was large and loved the lani. Will stay here again next year!

Excellent trip and accomodations. Go every year for Anniversary and husband's birthday. Lots to do in the area. Do not really need a car if you've seen the area. Took Otis's courtesy car service from airport and with (reasonable) fee come back to take you a morning to Publix. Although the COVID is still about there were no activities or live entertainment outside but there was entertainment inside in the evening at the delicious restaurant onsite. Tropical birds and ocean and view are breathtaking and very convenient from the pool. Waiter service at the pool. Very warm, relaxing pool. Very friendly staff. Love you Ray! Thank you resort. We had a wonderful (as always) time. Looking forward to next visit.

This resort is beautiful! The property is lovely, the location is right on the ocean with a private beach and the beach, palms and scenery all make this a breathtaking experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable with large screen TV's and a full kitchen. I loved my quiet morning ocean walks along the shore and my warm swims in both the ocean and the pool! There is nightly entertainment in the on-site restaurant which is a really nice feature. This is a very short walk to a small strip mall with some other restaurants, t-shop store, 7-eleven, bagel shop. Did I mention how friendly everyone was and the service? Doors opened for you, greetings, quick valet service, front desk very accommodating. We loved this resort and hope to return soon!

We had a nice week long stay here. We liked that it was right on the beach. We rented chairs and an umbrella for the week and felt it was well worth it. We had lunch and drinks at the tiki bar and enjoyed it. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. The workout room was very small. I should have asked if there were any other fitness choices, but I didn't. We didn't use the pool or the spa so can't comment on them. The rooms are dated, as others mentioned but that didn't bother us. The room met all of our needs. We enjoyed the balcony and the kitchen. The location is next to a public park. There are some restaurants and bars within walking distance. There were a few convenience stores within walking distance also. We liked having a car. We used it to go out for dinner off the island and to go off the island for shopping, exploring and entertainment. We did walk to a local restaurant one night for dinner and it was nice.

Perfect in every way! Loved it there! Location was central to grocery stores, various marinas, peanut island, lots of shopping and food. The resort is right on the beach and has a spa which we enjoyed having our massages. Beach umbrellas and chairs available for rent also.

My wife and I were lucky to be able to trade timeshare points for Palm Beach Shores. It is a beautiful resort, right on the beach, very clean and modern, with a friendly staff. Because of Covid there were no organized activities, but that wasn't a problem for us. The pool area is large with a lot of chairs, even being spaced out. The restaurant's food was very good and reasonably priced. Try their fish tacos! Our only negative was that the rooms on the second floor have balconies with solid walls instead of railings. When we sat we could not see anything except the balconies above us, Higher floors had railings. There is a $10/day parking fee, but this includes valet service, whic washandy and quick. We'd love to vacation here again!

This property is conveniently located on Singer Island, walking distance to everything. The resort is dated, but very clean. Bathrooms definitely need to be updated. Rooms are nice, pool was nice, beach was great! Right on property, we paid for our chairs and umbrella to be set up for the week ahead of time, well worth it. We did not eat in the restaurant. Some rooms face the side of the building parking lot, we faced the front of the building which was the parking lot but also looked out across the bridge. Beautiful sunsets every night.

The location, vacation experience, and convenience is second to none. Keep up the great work! One thing that can be improved extremely is the timeshare staff sales game with the parking pass. There is no reason for this. The parking pass can be at the front desk without having to engage in the the timeshare sales game at the customer relations desk. Only negative with the great vacation and is a continual issue.

We traded from a different resort to stay here. Very disappointed in the room as we were in the back corner of the building facing a cement wall of what you call a balcony. When I asked to be moved to a different room multiple times I was told because it was a weekend they couldn't accommodate us. The unit itself for a 1 bedroom was very small and the staff were not the friendliest all the way down to the Bartender at the Tiki Bar. I would never go back to this place.

The restaurant is fabulous. If you go around 7pm for the nightly entertainment, you will feel like you're surrounded by friends at a great party. Don't miss the amazing Thursday night Jazz gig! The "views" aren't all that, but the rest is great. OH! I forgot to mention that the beds and pillows are WONDERFUL! More like a Weston than a time share.

My points were stolen and I was not refunded the points back, just a horrible theft of money, They did not notify me of the reservation till AFTER the stay. If they had sent notice before the date I could have canceled and not lost $1800 in points

Nice location, beach access and area restaurants perfect to walk to. Palm Beach Shores island is a beautiful place for a relaxing, yet things to do vacation. Beach access great! Resort a little busy at times being a RCI affiliate resort. Elevator is so slow. Glad we were on second floor, but view not very good. Pool area nice with tiki bar right there. I would return.

We love the old school vibe of Palm Beach Shores. If looking for super fancy, this is not the place for you. But if you want a comfortable room, staff that greets you with a smile, restaurants within walking distance, great beach and pool, then this is the place for you. Great place for couples or families. We look forward to our stay at Palm Beach Shores.
