« Lovely family run hotel »

Family run hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely room with a panoramic sea view. Gorgeous restaurant and bar. Wrapped up warm and ate breakfast on the outside terrace every morning. Palinuro is fantastic base to explore this stunningly beautiful area. We will be back and would love to stay in La Conchiglia again.

    « Very nice Hotel »

We stayed two nights here in February. As it was off season the hotel was very quiet. It was easy to find and parking available right beside the hotel. Room was small, but clean and bathroom adequate. We had booked a street side room but on arrival paid to upgrade to the Sea side of the hotel.Amazing views of a beautiful coastline. Lovely big deck with comfortable chairs and table. We did not eat at the hotel but really enjoyed the restaurant that was recommended by the hotel. Wifi was not the greatest. Breakfast was good. Above all you could tell that this was a family run hotel and felt very welcoming and homey. The restaurant on the bottom floor was undergoing some renovations however it was a beautiful setting with indoor and outside dining on the terrace overlooking the wonderful little town of Palinuro and the beautiful sea. Would love to return during the summer as I'm sure it would be very different. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling between the Amalfi Coast and Sicily.

    « What A View! »

Traveled to Paliuno for work (with 15 co-workers/clients) and was delighted to find this gem of a hotel (especially in the off-season of January). This is NOT the typical American Best Western! The hotel is quaint, but what it may lack in luxury is made up for in food, service and a view! Marco and his staff could not have been more accommodating! Marco was up early and late to assist my team and I. He and the staff worked around our demanding work schedule, including 5am espressos, late lunches and 1am bottles of wine. No matter the hour, they managed to stay polite and kind. We ate several lunches and dinners there and the food was absolutely amazing, fresh and homemade. They served local red and white wine, equally outstanding! The dinning area and patio overlook the sea and I was lucky enough to have a ocean view room. My room was simple, but very clean. The bed linens and towels are what you would expect to find in an American Best Western, but with the food, service and price point, certainly made me feel like I found something special!

« Lovely place with charitble owners »

I spent a few days in January at this hotel and left it only with peaceful feelings. Good and friendly service, great surroundings and family atmosphere makes this hotel perfect for you if you want to get rid of big city rush. However I find some details to correct e.g. - for this price (or stars category) I think there should be mineral water in a room added every day. Breakfast could be more rich and Internet connection is really poor. But as I said - these and a few more details wouldn't spoil the general reception of staying at this hotel which is only positive.

    « Ok hotel »

Oct 2014- Not a bad value or location, but our bathroom smelled. The wifi is annoying, they require your phone number and email address, then my connection was constantly getting dropped and required re- entering password. Decent breakfast, needs more fruit.

« Lovely Stay at La Conchiglia »

We spent only one night in Palinuro at La Conchiglia. A very nice hotel with wonderful seaside views, in the center of town and very convenient to dining and shopping in this small gem of the Cilento. Staff was very kind, helpful and the Chef even kept the kitchen open for us after 2PM upon our arrival so we could have lunch! Thank you! Parking lot is adjacent to the hotel, very convenient. Will certainly visit again and will stay at La Conchiglia!!!

« Best hotel for miles »

I found the price to be a little high, but it was my fault for staying during the peak season (Ferragosto). The view from my room / the common terrace (where the bar / breakfast is) was breathtaking. Service could use a little finesse, but they tried and were very pleasant. Front of house staff was exceptional.

« Charming hotel with really friendly service »

We stayed two days in this nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the view from the terrace and room really awesome. The friendly owners of this hotel are speaking german and english fluently - which was invaluable helpful in this area and this time of the year. We definitely will come back to enjoy the beach and rivers of Palinuro again!
