Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel

Great and very friendly service from Luciana, Evelyn and Rafaela. The rooms were very nice and extra clean. Receptionist service is the best. They upgraded my room and I was welcomed back. I plan to stay again next time. Everyone is amazing!

I really enjoyed my stay here. My family and I went to Seaworld and Universal. The hotel was nice and the room we stayed in was clean. All of the staff were nice, especially the lady in the deli section Rachael. Every time we went down there, she made sure we got what we wanted and were satisfied. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Florida and will return to this hotel when we come back.

Overall we had a decent stay. I love how close it is universal studios. It's literally a straight shot 5 mins down the road. The shuttle is useless if you want to get there for early admission to the park which was included with our hotel stay. They don't even come till maybe 7 and you have to reserve them. Which for early admission you will want to be at the park by 7. So I paid for parking everyday at the park. The front desk staff was nice. There is a hotel fee you have to pay that is $15 a day that I wasn't aware of so you're basically paying for parking there as well. Breakfast is NOT included but they do have a restaurant in the building. They didn't open early enough for us to try it so I can't review it. The room had a slight old smell but once I turned the ac on it went away. The ac to me personally was not as loud as some people were complaining about. It actually helped me sleep cause I am used to noise. The bed is slightly uncomfortable because it's on the hard side and I am used to softer beds. The pillows ARE NOT PILLOWS! They are the size of a throw pillow for a couch. Bring your own!! I was so tried I still slept though so it served its purpose. The sheets were clean and the floors were clean but could've been mopped a little better. The sink in the bathroom was nice and clean and the bathroom itself was clean. The shower pressure was fine. I wouldn't have taken a bath though didn't seem clean enough for that. Their little hair dryer worked fine. The fridge worked fine. You do get fresh towels every single day which was nice but house keeping only comes every 3 days as long as you fill out their form requesting it. That's a bummer cause that's a part of the hotel that I think should be everyday. Day 3 we ended up having a huge leak in our room with puddles of water on the floor. We called the front desk and they were very nice and sent someone rid it away. Once the maintenance fixed the problem he called housekeeping himself to come clean up everything and we didn't have any issues after that. The door to our room didn't go all the way to the floor so we had light shining in from the hallway at night and you can definitely hear people. I would stay here again though cause the price was better than most.

Had a great experience. Quick and simple checkin/checkout. Comfortable beds and pillows. Accommodated late checkout. Best part of my stay was my experience with Rachael, who works in the little shop/deli. She was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back and refer this hotel.

This is my favorite hotel. We travel here every year. I love Symei. She is such a professional always giving us the most care and best room. I really appreciate her. The service is always excellent and we never have any problems in our room or on hotel ground.

Great location 5 mins from Universal. Rooms are spacious and clean. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice try the waffles. Friendly attentive staff. Shout out to Rachel Octavia and Maria. Good facilities, used both the pool and fitness centre

Room was very nice and clean. Luciana at front desk was extremely helpful, friendly and got us to our room quickly and painlessly. Wish that Sharkey & Jack's was open past 10pm. Pool and hot tubs were clean and wonderful for relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our Orlando visit.

We spent the night before our early flight at this hotel; and, received exceptional customer service from the front desk ladies, Luciana, Symei and Rebeca. They were all very welcoming and professional, offering a quick check in (which makes such a difference when you are tired from a long drive). The hotel is in a central area, with lots of parking, reliable wifi and a good coffee shop. Our room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. We really appreciated that they don't use single use toiletries anymore, and instead have a good brand of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a convenient dispenser. It's certainly a nice hotel with reasonable rates. Only downside is that they don't offer breakfast included with your stay (but, they offer a good coffee shop in the lobby)

5/5 stars for Rachel in the Deli! So helpful and gave us directions when made wait for our room! Definitely a good place to rest our heads quick while at the parks.. close to lots and Ubers everywhere! Thank you guys again and hopefully we'll be back soon(:

Extremely friendly staff, John at reception took great care of us! Bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. The pool and hot tubes were very big, perfect temperature and everything was kept very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay. Very close to universal (walking distance) and restaurants/ supermarkets.

My recent stay at the Best Western Orlando Gateway started off promising, but unfortunately, it ended on a sour note. Despite assurances of a hassle-free checkout, I was shocked to discover an unexpected charge on my credit card statement labeled as a "non-smoking policy" fee. As a non-smoker who diligently adhered to all hotel regulations during my visit, this charge was both unwarranted and unacceptable !!! To compound matters, my attempts to seek clarification and request a refund through email were met with silence from the hotel management. This lack of communication and accountability left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. While the hotel may boast of « well appointed » guest rooms and courteous staff, the handling of this situation has left much to be desired. As a customer who values transparency and fair treatment, I am compelled to share my experience to alert others to the potential pitfalls they may encounter. In summary, my stay at this establishment was marred by erroneous charges and a lack of responsiveness from management. Until these issues are addressed and resolved satisfactorily, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.

Very clean and the desk staff were extra friendly. Luciana was great ! We became an awards member and have already received multiple benefits. Although we don't travel much when we do travel we will be staying at a nest western hotel if possible

I had a great experience at the Neat Western. I recently stayed at the property two different times within a week. I received the same hospitality during both stays from Luciana the front desk person. She was welcoming and bilingual. While checking in she was assisting another customer, and she was making them laugh and have a great conversation in Portuguese. I will continue to use Best Western for future stays based on my experience at the hotel.

The best western Orlando Gateway is an older property, though generally well-kept up. if you like the slightly classic Orlando vacation look, then you will appreciate some of the touches, decor and general feel of the lobby and property. The room was clean and felt updated, with a flat panel TV and thoughtful bathroom set up. A channel guide for the TV would be helpful. Downstairs, there is a little shop with hand dipped ice cream, drinks (including canned alcoholic beverages) and snacks that is open late. Even though we were only there for one night and did not get a chance to try out many of the outside amenities, it looked like there was a well-maintained pool with a nice shade area with artificial turf and cabanas. There is also a basketball court nearby as well. When we were leaving, guys were painting the outside from a caramel/brown to white, so it might even be in it's new white clothes by the time you read this! The front desk was helpful, within the limitations. This is a hotel that you cannot pay for your stay with cash; they require a debit or credit card not only for room incidentals, but also to pay for your stay. While there was an issue with the promotion that my room was originally booked under, the front desk gentleman, I believe his name is Nathan worked with his management to cancel my old booking without penalty and rebook us at the best rate and perks that we were blessed to receive. It took a while at check in, but we eventually got everything right. Afterwards, it was a very smooth and affordable stay. One of the big perks, that we see of this property, besides the amenities and budget-friendly price is the location. We practically felt like we were on Universal property, with having several of their hotels and resorts next-door. We could also see the top of volcano bay from the parking lot! Way to plant seeds for our next visit! universal studios must be close by, and their hotels offer a nice choice of restaurants and a casual food court plus places to explore as well, if you like to see other properties on your visit. Had we been staying there longer, we probably would've taken advantage of some of the restaurants and things to see and do in the nearby Universal hotels as well. Outside of the parks, we went to a Whole Foods Market (great hot/cold salad bar with an eating area, too) and a buffet for breakfast, both which were just a short drive for us away. Wherever you stay, have a blessed and memorable trip to Orlando!

Great spot! Incredibly affordable especially with 4 friends to a room! Amazing location makes universal walkable to save the $30 car park fee, and the staff were awesome, especially Rachael in the deli who was a ray of sunshine in the morning!

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western with my boyfriend!! Nathan at the front counter was super friendly and helpful, and he gave us a free upgrade for our room. I didn't use the pool but seems like many people enjoy the pool/jacuzzi time. Couldn't have asked for a better three-night stay in Florida.

I was there with 3 friends The acomodations were good but what made our experience 100 times better was the service that Maria and Octavio provided us. They were very sweet , helpful, friendly and very respectful. Definitely people that you don't ever forget.

I always stay at this hotel when I travel to Orlando only because of the staff. The staff at the front desk is exceptional, always very helpful, friendly and dedicated to an incredible customer service, especially the manager Luciana. However the rooms do need renovation.

The hotel staff was very friendly, answered my questions and gave me excellent recommendations, the place was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable, the common areas in very good condition, the gym, the pool and additionally the restaurant It's a good option if you don't want to go out.

Recepcionist (John) very kind and helpful, solving our doubts. Nice and confortable room, good services, nice swiming pool and correct breackfast. It was also well conected with the place were my conference was organized. Places to have lunch and dinner at walking distance.

Luciana checked me in. Oh my. If I could give her 6 stars I would. She helped me solve some of the issues that came up. Octavio was the restaurant manager. The breakfast buffet opened at 7 am and I had to catch a bus to get to the Kennedy Space Center by 7:30. He bent over backwards to make sure I had enough to eat and got out in a timely manner. John and Cathy (I think) checked me out and offered to get me a ride to the airport and were very efficient. Everyone was all smiles and was falling all over themselves trying to make me feel welcome. Given a choice to stay there again, I would.

Rachel at the deli was amazing I can down many times for food and snacks throughout my day she was AMAZING. Made me feel welcomed and kept deli very clean and organized. I appreciated this. Also one of the ladies at front desk was amazing I didn't catch her name but she wore glasses. She assisted me in retrieving a lost item. Very grateful. Room was clean. Best western job well done

The quality of service I received from Rachael Deli was beyond exceptional- she worked tirelessly to make sure myself and anyone else who came into her space felt seen and their needs were fully met- it is rare to find employees with the type of energy and dedication to service that Rachael exudes- she is a gem!

This was a great place to stay while visiting the Orlando area. It was very close to Sea World. We didn't eat at the hotel but there was a breakfast buffet for $15. There was also a small store/Cafe where you could buy drinks, coffee, snacks and pizza. Luciana was the absolute best at check in! We would definitely stay here again.

I want to thank Mariana for her service, as she speaks three languages, which is excellent for us Brazilians to be welcomed by someone who speaks our language. She is making all the difference in our stay here at the hotel. And for sure, whenever we come back to Orlando, this is the hotel we will stay in."

This has been a wonderful experience from the beginning. After having to change from an unaffiliated hotel and check in day of to this one, the staff have made it easy to do so. Everyone is kind and ready to help, and they want to make sure that you as a guest have everything you need for your stay. The rooms and amenities are clean, attractions are very close, and the beds are very comfortable. My girlfriend and I highly recommend staying here.

John was the best front person ever. Could sell water to a whale. Literally was the hello k needed I had just had a bad situation at the previous hotel so I left to come to a new one and was met was John and he made me forget about my other experience at my previous hotel he was the best.

The customer service we received from Rebeca was amazing! We didn't have the best trip up her, but when we got here she was so accommodating and friendly! The pool and hot tub were very relaxing. My bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom towels were folded so cute! Overall a really good experience. I can tell that the company and workers are very thoughtful:)

For the price and quality of service, this property has become our home base whenever we visit Orlando. The service given by the Front Desk, specially Luciana and Carol, is always a very consistent 10/10. Always very welcoming, exited, and overall just comfortable. We booked this hotel last minute and when we arrived, John greeted us at reception. He was professional, helpful and extremely friendly. SUPER LOVELY! It was our honeymoon and he upgraded us to a King room, which happened to be the last one. We talked for a bit and his colleague joined the conversation, Evelyn was also really lovely and helpful too. These two are the best staff in there!!!

This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Orlando. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Luciana at the front desk is always AMAZING! The kids adore her. We have never had a bad experience here. This is the only hotel we want to stay at in Orlando. It is very conveniently located to everything we want to do in town.

It was amazing, everything was perfect. Especially Rachel's Deli. She was so so sweet. She gave us coffee every morning and made sure we got the best deals out of it. The breakfast spread was delightful and the gym was pretty well equipped too. They have one big pool and 2 small ones (that are warm!)

Rachel in the deli was amazing! She was always so friendly. She makes the best breakfast sandwich and ice coffee. My husband and I got breakfast with her every day during our stay. Each day was consistently amazing.

I work as a flight attendant and was exhausted and could not drive to Tampa. Mariana was OUTSTANDING, pleasant, professional. She provided exceptional high quality service. She was accommodating and proactive about my needs. My room and bed was comfortable and provided everything I needed….Best Western has fantastic staff in house keeping - it takes talent to quietly knock on doors and clean rooms not to disturb other guest!!!!! Job Well Done!!!!!

The attention was wonderful from Mr. Jhon, he helped us with our accommodation, very attentive when checking in. The room was very clean, the pool area I recommend is small but very comfortable. I'm going again for the month of November.

Carol at the front desk made are stay very enjoyable, she explained all the hotel amenities in detail. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we plan on staying here in the furture. This hotel has just been remodeled and updated and is very nice.

Theresa, John and Carol made us feel like they knew us forever gave us great tips about different places to go and even was really excited that we were here to go to Universal and Halloween horror nights and we already had our season passes and that we were celebrating my 40th birthday. We felt so welcome like we were at home. Those three are the most sweetest people we will be back again.

It was not super expensive. They upgraded our room, which was wonderful. Nice customer service, clean rooms, super close to the universal hotels and bus stop. The only issue we had was kids playing late night basketball and then running through the halls throughout the night.

The beds were amazingly comfy and the room was perfect! The aesthetic was immersive getting us ready for the parks! But the staff was the star as they made our experience incredible! Definitely coming back here again.

We stayed for the opening weekend of Horror Nights. We've stayed at on property resorts but this one was close enough to universal and for the price you cannot beat it. We plan to use this as our opening weekend hotel now since staying on property doesn't come with “great” advantages worth what would have been $300+ more for the 4 nights we stayed. Great staff that was friendly and able to answer any questions I had. The room had a with a nice view of the lake and volcano bay. One big perk for this hotel is that you do not have to pay for parking, unlike almost every other hotel in orlando (which was another big reason we picked this one as we find it ridiculous and a cash grab to pay for parking). Directly next door to the on property hotel we used to stay at, but we will be switching to this one now. The only complaint really is we could hear the neighboring room when they had “private time” if you know what I mean which lead us to cranking the volume up on the TV and that the room would feel muggy when we would cone back from the parks at night, but turning the exhaust fan on and keeping the bathroom door open helped. Next time, we will just ask if there are any non-conjoining rooms as i'm sure that played a part into why we could hear the guests next to us. Will still definitely recommend staying here. Right around the corner from international drive with endless food options around, 5 minute drive to universal, quite the convenient area (especially if you're going to universal. if you trip is planned for Disney, this will be a little ways out for you)

Looked into hotels because of three hurricane. Booked here and thankful I did! Didn't need the entire stay and was credited the time I didn't need. Let me check in multiple hours early. Upgraded my room, no additional charge. Clean room! People were great!

My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to universal and Disney. The hotel was a great price and has such a great location! There are shuttle buses for Disney , Seaworld and universal. Let alone walking distance to universal, and other cheap places to eat. My boyfriend and I decided to start the trip a day early a little before 11 pm. We called and they said they would extend our trip one day. When we arrived we were told our days were just moved a day early, meaning we needed to add another day. Luciana and Marina were beyond helpful and some of the sweetest people we have met. They helped us add a day for a little more and upgraded our room with a great view of the lake. They helped us with all the questions we had and were unbelievably helpful on extra information. It made our stay already feel comfortable, like home.

Jhonny was the best !! He gave us an amazing experience at the hotel bar. The drinks were delightful and his service was extraordinary! We came two nights in a row just for him. He was wonderful and made us smile.

Room very comfortable, clean and silent. Towels are changed every day. The staff are very kind and gentle. Special thanks to *Luciana* and *Emanuel* from the front desk. They'll try to do the best to help you with your needs. But remember, they are humans too, so be kind with them. :) The location is very good too. You have bus stations near and I think they also stop in the hotel too. It's very near from the Universal's Studios.

Lucian's by the front desk was quite exceptional. Incredible hospitality and customer service. We came here with my girlfriend and enjoyed the experience all the way through , while Luciana informed us about everything.

Symei and Lucinia was very nice and wonderful at the front counter. The staff was kind and the room was clean. The pool is amazing and they always keep the towels stocked. Only con is that the air conditioner is not the best so it give the room a damp feel .

The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to numerous restaurants. The hotel has many amenities unfortunately we did not have time to use them. Internet was fast and easy to connect.

Front desk young lady who checked me in after a long hot day in the sun working... I'm here for work... Symmei was amazing got me a 1st floor room pool walk out. Have extended my say for 8 more nights with marina she was just as helpful... every thing about my stay has been great and it all started with symmie greeting me upon check in. Luciano. There manager helped to explain my bill to me. Everyone all the way to house keeping to the bartend for dinner has made this a great experience

I never leave a review but the lady at the front desk tonight Mariana would like to thank her for her awesome customer service. She was very polite and understanding to me and my son we drove all the way from Omaha Nebraska and she did her best with getting us into a comfortable room after such a long day and nights on the road. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff. We were given a very nice welcome package with vouchers and a map of nearby parks, restaurants, and museums. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfy. My only problem was the A/C leaked and the floor was wet and my luggage got damp. Also, it would be nice if the bar had Happy Hour.

The hotel itself is good. However, the front desk agent named sylem was terrible, super disrespectful and unprofessional. Please watch out for her when you book at this. I will never go back to that hotel

Best hotel service I've ever encountered in Orlando! All Receptionists are wonderful, and the manager named Luciana, in addition to being very friendly, is always trying to help all customers!!!! Great

Luciana helped my family as we arrived a few days late due to flight cancellations. The site we booked with did not assist with our accommodations as they said they would. While in distress and no where to turn she provided excellent customer service as she assured us she would take care of us which she did.

I really like Rachael Deli's service, she was very nice and kind and made us feel comfortable. I really recommend her. I was with my family and we all felt really good with her. She helped us a lot with everything.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. This was the best cost to service ratio. Cheap hotel with high standards for the price. Hotel seems like it's renovating as it goes but was never an inconvenience. The room was exactly what you pay for, very clean, Great location, distance from the parks, service, amenities, cleanliness. Rated at 2 stars, I'd rate it 3. Rachael at the deli was the standout employee for us but everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze. Breakfast wasn't included, but good. They don't clean your room daily but they will bring fresh towels and take your trash.

Luciana at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Air conditioning works great even though hallways are warm and stuffy on 3rd floor. Breakfast buffet is good. No free breakfast here though. We would stay again!

The place wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be, the deli foods weren't good ( & I'm not a picky person at all), breakfast was decent, dinner options however, were pretty good & not too pricey either. The staff members were really friendly & helpful which made our experience better. Octavio and Maria were very attentive during breakfast and made us feel very welcome.

We stayed here for a night and it was just an ok experience. The hotel and room are dated. Carpets in the hotel were gross and damp with a strong moldy smell. We enjoyed the pool, but that was the only thing nice about our stay. The hot tub was ok. The jets didn't work on one of the hot tubs.

I stayed here for two nights during the holiday season. Our booking was affordable - which I was actually quite shocked at considering the proximity to Universal Studios theme parks (our rate couldn't have been more than $165 CAD a night. When we checked in the lovely guest services agent gave us an upgrade to a higher floor with a better view of Volcano Bay which was both unexpected and appreciated! All staff were super friendly - from the check in agent, to the cleaning staff that regularly struck up conversations or would smile and say hi in passing - but the real darlings of our trip had to be Octavio & Maria in the hotel restaurant. We came in for breakfast both days specifically for their service. They were both friendly, attentive, warm and welcoming. Maria was quick to ask us if we needed anything even though it was a help yourself buffet. She brought us cutlery, coffee and drink refills and always had that warm welcoming smile on. Octavio was working the bar but quick to make us feel welcome asking us how we were doing, what had brought us to the city, how we were enjoying our holiday and generally just making the space and environment feel inviting. His voice boomed throughout the breakfast restaurant as he walked around making sure all guests were looked after, the tables were clean and in order, and striking up chit chats with anyone who would engage. 10/10 for service, quality, location, and price point. The manager has clearly hired exceptional talent and provided training at a level you would expect for a 5 star hotel. Keep up the excellent service and providing such a warm welcoming experience. We will absolutely be making the Gateway Hotel our stop of choice for our next stay in Orlando. Thanks again for a wonderful start to our holiday!

Barbara was wonderful helping us check in. Friendly, professional, service with a smile. Our room was just ok. Small, dated. The beds were soft and uncomfortable. The heated pool was wonderful! One of the hot tub jets was not working. No pool towels, even though we called and they said they would send someone over with them. Location was great and close to Universal.

The property itself is okay and truthfully this would be a 3-star review had it not been for the great staff. It's time for some major renovations for the rooms & for them to change their housekeeping policies. They only clean the room once every FOUR days. That's just not frequent enough. The rooms also remind me of a very mid tier motel. They're pretty dated & it's just time. Now... the staff was amazing & friendly. This is especially true of Octavio & Maria in the restaurant! They were so attentive, helpful, and friendly it would make your day. They are true gems. I might go back just to get the breakfast with them!

When we checked in we got offered a room that we thought was good. After one night we didn't like it very much so we approached front desk with the situation and very nicely and willingly they changed us to another room. All the staff was very nice and Luciana was always willing to solve any concerns or doubts we had. After we switched rooms we ended up LOVING that room. Lake view, so pretty. Not much direct sunlight so it was always at a very good temperature, but a lot of light so we didn't instantly need to turn on the lights. I really recommend the lake view rooms, they have the nicest colors during sunrise. I can't vouch for sunsets though, I was always out. I really loved the idea that there's no more daily housekeeping. For some people it might sound like a lot, but I believe is better for the planet that tons of linens are not washed every single day. Because also that wears them down faster and you have to keep replacing them. It's not hard to keep the room tidy for a few weeks. I do think an improvement would be that guests could be provided of some cleaning supplies like a broom and shovel so we can also keep the floors clean if we eat at the room. Let's be honest that's the only hard part: eating without making crums. The breakfast hasn't changed much, sadly. It's the same I ate last time I was there 3 years ago (although they did change the chef that made bacon which made me sad because he made THE BEST bacon I ever tasted: crunchy, not burned, not greasy). I would really like to see the breakfast improved for more variety. Beds were comfy and bedsheets clean and soft. The tv had a system that took AGES to navigate. I would recommend improving that if possible by printing a list of the channel numbers since you have to go to specific channels to check the channel grid. We did not check the room's folder though, so maybe is there already and we didn't see it. One of the changes I did not like was a fee charged to the guest for every package that arrives. The price is VERY steep (5usd) if you consider that sometimes shipping from one state to another is like 7usd. And if you buy through Amazon, the kings of "let me send you everything separately", you might end up with quite a bill very fast. Don't get me wrong, if the hotel believes very strongly in a fee to handle packages because of whatever reason, it's ok, but 5 dollars is too expensive. Make it a dollar, make it two. But the hotel only handles it through a lobby and a storage room, not between two states or cities. Again I want to thank Luciana and her staff for taking so well my input when I pointed this out, they were very understanding and thanked me for reaching out. All in all we enjoyed ourselves very much. We did return once and we might in the future again. I also got a peek after leaving that they were repainting common spaces! I believe to a nice off-white and I believe brings even more light to the space.

Entire staff at this location are so friendly and helpful. I have never stayed anywhere that everyone was that friendly. Pool was nice to use late at night, bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed for a quick stay prior to leaving Orlando. Would stay here anytime!

We stayed at the Best Western for two nights and overall had a good experience! They have an excellent breakfast Buffett and Octavio and Maria did a great job and very hospitable! Very good location as well-our only complaint is walls are thin with the rooms other than that good rooms.

Flew into Orlando for a few days before heading down to Miami to spend some time with relatives for the US Thanksgiving. We were lucky to find the Best Western Orlando Gateway had rooms and it was perfectly situated for us during our stay. Hotel was close enough from the airport, provided us with the ability to walk to Universal(mind you it was foggy so we drove), many shops and restaurants near by and reasonable to get to Disney. Check was easy, the staff were very kind and friendly. Pulling in to the parking, we were lucky to grab a spot closer to the front, but the back and to the opposite side of the hotel had lots of parking space. While we didn't use it due to the weather and working on a schedule, the hotel does have a pool, basketball court and a decent size social space outside for quests. Our room was nice and big. The fridge was spacious as we needed one since we were bringing baked goods for a relative. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. One thing I forgot and my aunt had mentioned it to me, most hotel rooms will have the ac on all the time. Just be mindful, it was a pretty powerful ac and with the weather outside, we had to raise the temp to have the room a little cool. WiFi was pretty good, bathroom had plenty of hot water and was spotless. First morning I was undecided between the cafe which allows you y to order smaller meals and the restaurant , Sharky and Jack's Bar Grill. I chose to go into Snarky and Jacks as I was looking to have something substantial before heading to the parks. I was greeted by the wonderful owner Octavio. Great big smile, a warm good morning and welcome and he explained there was the breakfast buffet and the options. Grabbed myself a plate and dove in. food was hot and fresh. This wasn't the microwaved food some motels cater. Crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast biscuits with gravy, sausage rounds, bread, cereal and fresh fruits. There is a make your own waffle option. To drink there was pop but also orange juice, apple juice tea and coffee. What really made me feel welcomed was seeing how Octavio interacted with guests. After I had my first round, went back up only to find out he grabbed a cup and brought me back a refill of juice. He greeted guests and helped a family who he recognized from previous trips with their young children. Definitely seeing his approach with patrons, answering questions they had regarding what to have or where they can check something out, he really showed exceptional customer service. For the rest of my trip, I chose to make Sharky and Jack's my breakfast stop before heading out. The space is nice and big. With the World Cup on, I didn't have to worry of trying to find a spot to sit as they have several TVs playing. Thank you very much to Octavio and his wife Maria for the wonderful food to kick off my mornings. My next trip to Orlando, I plan on returning to the Best Western Orlando Gateway. The placement of the hotel and honestly the courteous staff made the difference in my trip.

Bathrooms and power outlets need a refresh. We had to wait over an hour to check in because our room was not ready. Beds were comfortable and the walls are not thin. Excellent location for shopping, dining, and Universal Studios.

Honestly I only stayed one night and it was worth it, I usually don't take the receptionists name but I think out of all the resent times I've come to Orlando she has need the nicest for sure this year Symei was super nice and very informative, customer service at its best, the hotel it self is super close to the Universal and International drive, it's not the prettiest hotel but it's clean, friendly, and accommodating I would recommend and visit again. I also had the pleasure of meeting Octavio and Maria they run the breakfast bar downstairs it was very economical and really good I would definitely return just for their hospitality!

The service was really good, thanks to Luciana. Our hotel room was very clean and has a beautiful view. The AC Unit was a little bit too loud. The location was very nice to reach Universal Resorts and the Wizarding World.

Due to the dedication of the staff I can honestly say I am a life time guest as this is the ONLY hotel I will stay at on my vacations to Orlando FL. Octavio and Maria were really amazing and did great! Also the breakfast was really good the pancakes were also probably the best part of the whole meal including the potatoes. Overall would I would recommend.

Great trip. Rachael at the deli made a killer salad and made me feel at home despite staying solo after my wife had to fly back. Would definitely stay there again because of her kindness. Comfy stay and recommended for a good nights sleep.

First, I have a random $13.00 charge that no one can tell me why I have or reverse. Second, my refrigerator did not work on check in and they supposedly put in a work order but for our 4 day stay we didn't have a working refrigerator so we ended up wasting our leftovers which was kind of irritating. Third, every person we asked gave us different information about the shuttle sign ups. We got up at 5 one morning to sign up and when we went down they said you had to do it at 7. The next morning they said 7 was too late. Finally someone showed us the QR code on our last day. Finally, there was a dead roach in our room and the shower water was cold for the majority of our showers. The door didn't go all the way to the floor but that's just something I don't love, not really a complaint. I just hate the idea that things can slip under door. However, location was great for Universal. The shuttle, while confusing, was great once on there. The pool area was nice and heated. So there were definitely pros and cons.

The room we had wasn't what we expected but the breakfast buffet was amazing. Octavio and Maria was awesome. Great customer service, they made sure we had everything we need to enjoy our breakfast. Very clean and organized. I would definitely come back to them again :)

Luciana always takes care of me and my husband. She always makes sure everything is in place and always making me feel welcomed. She always listens to want I want. She's always going out of her way for us.

We were a large family group of adults and children and the rooms at the hotel were fine. However we had a terrible incident here at 8am in the morning a man on drugs came into the hotel and started following women in our party when they were alone in the lift and exposing himself. Eventually the police came and were able to locate him. The worst part about this whole experience was how the hotel staff and manager on duty handled this. They lied about calling the police so we had to call them ourselves and tried to dismiss the whole incident. They provided no comfort that the situation was under control. While I understand this incident was not their fault, the reaction to the situation was poor and unsafe. I would never stay here with a young family.

From the moment I walked in the doors I was helped and seen. I was able to get into my room early and the front desk was very helpful and efficient! Every employee from front desk to housekeeping was kind and went above and beyond. I was checked in on to make sure my stay was going well and felt very appreciated as a guest. Everything was so efficient and swift. The rooms were clean and just enough space. I will definitely stay here again in the future and tell others about my stay at the Best Western Gateway in Orlando.

This is our favorite hotel in Orlando. The staff is friendly and courteous, especially Ms. Luciana. She is AMAZING! We keep coming back, because of the staff. They ALWAYS go above and beyond. The rooms are clean, and the beds are super comfortable. They are in the middle of a remodel right now, but still manage to keep things pristine.

Look the carpets were not clean. I had to ask them to wash and clean the carpet. The people were good. I think they were doing the best that they could with what they had. Fabi and Carol did their best. The head of the place, a black gentleman was the most knowledgable, and he gave me the best guidance when my financial institutions were messing me up with my debit payment cards. Overall I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars. Lots of room for improvements. Air in the room needs a way to circulate. I stayed on 7th floor. Jacuzzi and Swimming pools were really good. I enjoyed those a lot. The smart security method to use a room key to exit the pool & jacuzzi area is an intelligent design. So that people from outside cannot just use the pool and jacuzzi, they would be trapped in there and would have to answer and be embarrassed. Good design. The lobby area is very welcoming. I would assume, based on limited observation that their cleaning staff not enough. I would also guess that they do not have enough guests, and money to keep up. I don't know. Just a guess. They did their best to accommodate me. They never said no. They did not discriminate against me, I hope. As a very educated black man, I am constantly having to over explain in order to prove myself. We do it almost every where we go, so I did it here. I dont think I was discriminated against though. Well, that's my personal review. I hope it helps someone. Sorry for any typing error. I'm not getting paid or compensated for this. Haha.

Stayed at the hotel for the DEMA trade show. To far to walk to the OCCC. However aesy and quick drive. Lots of parking at the hotel. It is a bit dated in the rooms however they were clean. The hotel is visibly renovating rooms. Staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Octavio and Maria in the breakfast area were very helpful and engaging. The food is good and service was quick.

For the past 6 months, I have regularly visited this hotel on business. The staff I've encountered here has always been extremely professional and accommodating. This hotel truly feels like a second home to me. I would like to especially compliment the nice clerk Luciane who checked me in today at the front desk. She was very helpful and I really appreciated her jolly sense of humor. This hotel is in a great location near many of Orlando's restaurants and attractions. The building has an nice outdoor pool, basketball court, and fitness room. I especially enjoy the hotel's daily breakfast buffet, which offers a wide variety of delicious foods. I also enjoy ordering the hotel's scrumptious piña colada. Each time I leave the hotel, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Orlando.

Luciana (dogs) was perfect, she gave us the best attendance ever had! I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. Great breakfast and excelente parking and localization. All attractions in Orlando is petty close to the hotel.

Sylem and Luciana were very attentive, nice, funny. They took there time to answer questions and talk a little bit about ours plans for the evening, they gave us some tips. There service were amazing especially after a longe drive.

I've rented a room for my parents and they loved it. Simple but very cozy place. Very friendly and helpful receptionists, especially Luciana who helped us a lot. The place is close to everything. Parks, Supermarkets and restaurants.

This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel this hotel is so unusual exactly what I was getting into. It's very close to universal, and the best thing about it is you can just walk across the street to the Surfside resort resort and take the many universal busses that come and go each day. I was put on the 8th floor, the same as that was last time period this is. There's a separate elevator that only goes to the 8th floor in that room is a little nicer and more private than some of the other rooms. I didn't get to use a pool this time but I did one time . It's rather basic but adequate. I've never eaten any food in this hotel. My room had 2 sinks which was nice and a beautiful view of universal.

I am not even sure where to start to be honest. I was there for work so no way i could switch hotels in the middle of the night. Upon checkin i noticed that the room was very run down. It had a musty and damp smell. I assumed the AC hadn't been running so i turned it on and left to get dinner. When i got back to settle in for the night i noticed the latch on the door was broken. The bathroom wasn't in the best shape especially with the cracks in the baseboard to wall areas. I showered and went to bed. I woke up around 3am to go to the bathroom and I see a roach. Ok no big deal we are on the bathroom. I take care of it. I get back into bed and turn the tv on and I see another on the wall. I turn on the light and there are about 5 i see in the room. At that point I stayed awake until i needed to leave for work at 6:20 am. How is this acceptable? How is this safe? How is this sanitary? The staff i interacted with the evening of checkin were great. The person who checked me in and the person at that little snack shop. Both nice. But because of the room, the personal safety and the loss of sleep I will never stay at another best western because of this experience.

Rachael from the Deli was excellent. Went above and beyond to help wherever possible and made the stay very pleasant. Everything went smoothly and other staff were nice and friendly as well. Good value for money.

Our visit was literally after the hurricane had swept across Florida and so we had no real idea what to expect when arriving. Luciana and the evening team we were greeted by although had to change our room three times before we could get settled, understood our concerns and under the circumstances of rooms still being treated for damp and damage were still full of smiles, kindness, organisation and working tirelessly to please us and all those around us. A couple of areas were taped off and under construction but that didn't deter all staff onsite being pleasant and helpful. The pool area is a good size, with towels provided and two jacuzzis that again offer a relaxing wind down after a day at universal or shops nearby. Location for internationals feels a little cut off but if you are good with Uber and Lyft apps and don't mind searching on Google it's easy to find things in the local area to do and rides to and from never reached over $25 each way. We even despite having done Disney still did Disney springs from here as a base and was still under $25. The shop, the guest laundry services ( we used as had been travelling - soap and conditioner could be purchased from the on site shop) were well stocked and easy to use. The restaurant breakfast is a buffet with a fun Mickey Mouse waffle maker and Rachel in particular was a great help and bundle of energy. At nighttime the restaurant served some good standard American food and apps with Ryan the barman being a great source of fun and conversation whilst showing off his bartending skills. There is some local damage after the hurricane and but location worked for ours stay as our prime sun was Universal studios. Luciana was on the 3 nights we stayed there to always help us with extra pillows, tea, creamers and towels if we needed. A great budget hotel which needs some work doing but if you need a decent nights sleep for family and just somewhere as an in between for a decent price with no extra bells and whistles then I would stay here again. Thanks for a good stay despite the crazy unplanned circumstances! I'm giving 3/4 stars as the accommodation needs work and some upgrades here and there but the team are a 4/5 with their personalities and abilities as a team.

The staff here make you feel welcome and appreciated. You can tell they take pride in all they do. I had an issue with my room, I called the front desk and spoke to Carol. She was extraordinarily helpful and kind to switch me right away to a better room which I like very much. Carol deserves a big raise for doing a magnificent job.

Hubby and I stayed at the hotel during hurricane Ian and Luciana helped us check in. During our stay she was actively communicating with us and making sure we were ok. She is professional, helpful, polite and friendly.

I had to pack up my belongings and drive 2 1/2 hours from the West Coast of Florida to the East Coast to escape hurricane Ian. After I arrived at the Best Western Gateway Hotel, I was thoroughly exhausted. I had managed to unpack my two service dogs and most of my belongings with the little energy I had left. But I had not unpacked the equivalent of 10 cases of water that was still in my trunk. Even after resting a day I was still in to much pain and to weak to unload 10 cases of water, but I had to try. But then came Thiago! After Thiago took his time to run around to look for me a cart, he then offered to walk with me to my car and unloaded all that heavy water for me, he then walked with me to my room and neatly stacked all that heavy water neatly in a corner for me. I kept trying to get him to take my tip but he kept refusing it. He kept saying that "I didn't offer to help you to get a tip, no, it's my pleasure and my job to make sure that all our customers have a pleasant, wonderful, carefree stay. Thiago had no idea that I'm disabled, Thiago had no idea that I was in severe pain, weak and exhausted. Thiago had seen a customer needing help and he stepped in not knowing that he was saving me from probably passing out. Because of the kindness Thiago showed me I will always try to book a room with Best Western Gateway Hotel first when I come to the Orlando area. Any hotels smart enough to hire a wonderful young man like Thiago will always get my business first. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

BW went above and beyond. Fabiana at the front desk helped us check in before the storm arrived. She speaks fluent Portuguese so that was a plus. Rachael in the Deli assisted in getting a hot pizza and a cappachino. We stayed during Hurricane Ian and BW Orlando Gateway really impressed us. Recommended highly.

The first night the ceiling above my bed dripped enough to soak the pillow and bed so we moved to another room. The next room over, the smoke detector was beeping. The following night, our smoke detector went off and the desk lamp was flashing. The night after that another smoke detector was beeping and our toilet started leaking. A few more detectors went off and we were told it ws from the water in the walls. There were no towels at the pool one night but dirty ones. Had to ask for some. The music at the pool was hit or miss being on and the elevator and rooms/hallway constantly smelled of weed. Very outdated. A/C was very loud.

When we booked this hotel, we got a stellar deal, but we were worried about getting what we paid for. That's not true at all. The location is excellent. There are a lot of things you could walk to. A few theme parks are close, and Disney is not too far. Then you got quick access to downtown, where we saw a concert at Amway Center. You can tell the hotel is dated, but everything is spotless, and the service is excellent. Our front desk person Luciana was lovely, helpful, and gave us all the necessary information.

Luciana was great to me, really nice and helpful receptionist. She helped me to find the best room and answered all my questions about my stay at Orlando. I had a problem with amount of money to be paid as booking shows different price and she talked to the manager and the problem was solved within a minute.

Besides having an issue with management excepting vouchers I had for a discount this hotel was completely ready to address any need we had. The room was clean and the rest of the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not to mention you can literally walk to Universal Studios, Walgreens, about 20 restaurants, Putt Putt, and about anything else you would need. I would recommend this hotel for any situation.

I'll start my review pointing out the staff at the Best Western Orlando Gateway as I think they made our stay. Luciana at the front desk is outstanding, welcoming and has a great sense of humor. Location - Couldn't be better and we enjoyed a great view over the lake and Universal Studios. Food - Repetitive but nice enough you'll always find something to eat. Snack bar is lovely and the pancakes are unreal. Rooms - Rooms are clean as was the pool and adequate for what I needed. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable and we had a lovely time. You get what you pay for and I found this to be great value for money.

I was always told the best western hotel stay away from. But I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights and I have to say we had super cleaned rooms and staff was real nice and to top it off we had room with a view. My only complaint is that I wish I could have stayed longer. I will look forward to staying at Best western again.

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night, the room was clean and everything worked well (aircon, TV etc). The reception staff were super helpful - Luciane was able to get us the room with basically no notice and explained where the local restaurants were.

I was on a trip staying at Universals Endless Summer Dockside getting ready to leave to go home when I received a text that my flight was cancelled and I couldn't leave until the next day. So when I tried to stay another night they were booked. I decided to call Best Western next door and they were able to accommodate me and the rate was cheaper. Luciana checked me in and gave me an upgrade room. So nice and relaxing staying there. Staff is great !

Second time staying here Luciana was very helpful funny and a very nice. Upgraded my room to a better view with no extra charge . The hotel was nice not bad but me and my wife we got a room together and we had people coming in at 8AM 9AM trying to get in. We were supposed to leave at 11. We were in bed, no clothes. If we didn't close the door from the inside he would have gotten in. Horrible.

Our first 2 nights were actually great. Good space for myself, husband and our 1 year old. Perfect room on the top floor, beautiful view and all amenities worked great. We decided to extend our stay because we were comfortable. We were told that there was service that needed to be done in our room. I told the manager that this specific room is the ONLY reason we wanted to stay. We were assured we were moving to the exact same room just a few floors down. "Same room" was definitely much older and not updated. The first thing we saw was the ceiling fan, caked in dust, yuck immediately (towel I used to wipe off in pics). Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were older. Literally no place within plugs reach to plug in coffee maker ( look at the picture and you tell me where the outlet is). Surge protector was exposed and stretched to it's limits to connect everything else. Terrible damp smell which we discovered was from mold growing under the sink that had to still be leaking (pictured). It was just bad. The bed was thin and the door creaked sooooooooooo loud. The saving grace was a great receptionist in the convenience shop named Rachel. She was amazing and helped anyway she could. I feel like I'm forgetting something but aside from being super irritated that later in that evening I went up to the ice machine that we knew worked next to our first room and saw it was occupied!

I did not have the best experience, the first room I was in started flooding. The second room was smelly and dirty, the air conditioner wasn't getting that cold. The Wi-Fi was not the good. The location was good easy access to various places I went to.

Very poor service the breakfast is awful. Some of the guest in our party was put in unfinished rooms where part of the wall panel was missing from construction. Most of the rooms wasn't ready at checkin. So we had to wait an extra hour to checkin.

We had reservations at a motel around the corner from here and the place was so dirty and gross. We couldnt stay there. I found the best western online, so we drove over and Emmanuel helped check us in and even upgraded our room. He gave us the same price for the room that I saw online. I couldnt be happier! Clean front entrance and lobby. Desk clerk during checkin was exceptional. Room was fresh and clean. Restaurant and bar areas were clean and food was delicious and drinks were good. I'll be happy to stay here again if I ever get back to this area.

I have stayed for about 8-9 days. Upon arrival, Luciana made me feel more than Welcome. The courtesy, consideration and Caring she displays are incredible. And if you have ever watched Queen of the South, you will see she resembles Camilla, a beautiful woman with a touch of Bad*SS that is friendly, charming, and gets the job done. And she has a sidekick, Fabi, that is learning from the best! Truly, you will not be disappointed in the service they provide, and while you're at the front desk, look up Queen of the South,Camila and you will see the resemblance, and be lucky enough to experience being taken care of by one of the finest ladies to wait on you anywhere!

I've been here multiple times and it's always been a good experience. I come here when I'm staying in Orlando for work. Right near i4 so getting to work is easy. Luciana at the front desk is always wonderful. This would be my 4th stay in the last few months and each time i interact with her it's always pleasant. I have no complaints.

This was a decent Best Western. You can tell that they have put in some updates, but they didn't update everything. There are parts that still look quite dated. The staff seemed friendly enough, but they were open about fishing for good reviews. The room was straightened, and seemed to be cleaned. However, due to their new practices, we aren't sure if it was sanitized between guests. We had plenty of towels. Unfortunately, a couple of them still had some hairs (either human or from a weave) on them, and one had stain of some kind. The shower fixtures were not included in the update, and the water temp took some practice to get right. Normally, water starts cold and you have to wait on the hot water. This one defaults to hot, and you have to wait on the cold water. Once, you figure that out, you can have a decent shower. Overall, this is a good choice for the price. Just don't have high quality expectations. It's a place to sleep and shower.

While my stay may have been short, it was definitely worth it. The service here performed by Cliver and the front desk director Jherusa was awesome. Not only did they act swiftly to rectify a problem that arose during my stay, They did it with a smile; Truly embodying the best western experience. I even received a courtesy upgrade! My only gripe is that best western, as a company, needs to invest more into their building renovations.

The entire hotel was very nice, but Rachel at breakfast definitely made the experience feel like I was at home, or better yet moms house. From the minute we walked into breakfast she was at our beck and call. Attending to my little one who was kind of being a picky eater that morning. She was really awesome!

First off - you can't beat the location. Only 5 minutes to Universal, and the rooms facing the water give you a great view. Second - the staff. Everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful - you can tell they want to be there and make your stay great. Luciana was wonderful at check in. She upgraded our room to give us a gorgeous view on the top floor at no extra cost! Yes, the hotel is old, but you can tell they try their best to renovate certain areas and keep it fully cleaned. I loved that there was no carpet in our room, as sometimes that bothers my allergies. The bed was super comfy, and even though they don't do daily cleaning service, they take out the trash and give you new towels daily. We are all about breakfast, so we added that to our daily rate (wish it wasn't an extra cost, but I understand the world these days). The breakfast staff was so nice and attentive - they had a pretty good selection, but it was the same daily buffet - would've been nice to have a change up, but again - I understand supply issues. They kindly made my boyfriend an omelet daily - all we had to do was ask! The rates were pretty high for this caliber of hotel, but it is a busy season with everything going up. Overall it was worth the stay.

Front desk staff welcomed us with the warmest reception. Luciana was cordial, courteous and very helpful. She treated us like royalty and provided us with useful information. The room was neat and clean, with a nice view. The hotel is strategically located and is in overall good condition. A renovation would make it perfect.

Was given the incorrect dates on my reservation and when I asked to switch said dates I was told nothing could be done for me and after being transferred 3 times and speaking with corporate I was met with nothing positive. Used this location many times and never had an issue but the customer service did not want to help me and in the end I was charged $100 and received nothing. I was asked to book again but cannot do that as that would be paying twice for the same service. There was availability at the time of the dispute. Disappointed.

Nicer rooms are overlooking the bay, so request those rooms unless you want to look at parking lot....However parking is on-site at no additional cost. Breakfast in the lobby was delicious. Quick 5 minutes ride to Universal Studios

This is our first time staying at Best Western Orlando Gateway and we had a great experience. Every staff member we came in contact with was kind and the check in process was quick and easy. Daily we visited the deli for snacks and milkshakes and we were served by Rachael most days. She was always so friendly and had a smile on her face. This hotel had a great to the parks as well as many shopping and meal options. I highly recommend this hotel for the location and always helpful and kind employees.

Came here for one night and couldn't bear to stay any longer. The hallways and room smelled like mildew like they have a mold problem. The room was dirty with crumbs on the carpet and in the cracks. The paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom like someone had been keeping their dog inside. The handicap handle bar in the shower was loose and could be a serious hazard for someone who truly needs it. Horrible experience. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

Luciana, checked us in as we arrived. She was very helpful and nice. We overall enjoyed our stay. However, I don't recommend using the shuttle service. They didn't have anyone there to help you reserve a shuttle at time they where suppose to be then we where told to get on shuttle and scan the code and reserve that way. Well I was able to reserve going but it wouldn't allow me to reserve it back. I called hotel they gave me the number to the shuttle and he said I'll call and tell him you will be on 9 shuttle back and stated he couldn't send me an email to confirm that I should have called earlier it was only 330 when I called for the 9pm shuttle. The man who was driving the shuttle was rude he said do you have confirmation to be on this shuttle and I started to explain he said no I ask you a question. I stated I was trying to answer him and he said no I ask you a question it is a yes or no question. He said I'll just leave y'all here. I have a 6 and 7 yr and my husband with me. I stepped on the bus and said I'm trying to explain to you the situation. Finally he listen some what and stated he take us because of the kids. Then he drove past our hotel becuase he was on wrong side of road to stop. And take others to there hotels. Then asked my husband which hotel we where at again and he told him and he said I have dropped 2 people off there already and he didn't. He just drove by it. He was also rude to another lady. So if you stay here. I'd find another way to the park.

Very good service! Luciana help us in a way that we didn't hace to ask anything! Excellent room, excellent food from sharky & jack's bar and grill. The personal was very supportive all the time. Can't wait to come back!!

The outside of the hotel is very nice. The rooms are somewhat dated. The closet door in our room was completely off the henges and the bathroom was super small. Walls are extremely thin. We were awaken by our neighbors at 7AM blasting music. Front desk was very nice upon checking in. Did not like the timeshare people or whatever they were that approach you as soon as you check in. However, for the price, I guess I can't complain.

Hotel needs a little bit more work but a ok stay, gym needs to be fix a little, broke cables can really injure people. Should be FREE breakfast including not $13 but staffs are friendly. I had a great experience at Best Wester Universal Blvd. Every staff member I encountered, were delightful and eager to help, specially Luciana from the check-in, who offered us a great room and made our stay even more enjoyable. Took my family on vacation for spring break and have got to say I was very impressed by the service and amenities of this hotel. It was very kid friendly and clean. This lady was an incredible help, filled with threat hospitality. Me and my family travels throughout the year to multiple hotels/resorts and this is by far our first time ever receiving this much help with kindness and urgency and plenty of smiles. It is quite hard to run into management and front desk help that was ever this easy to work with. When I say that you have a gem on your hands with Jherusa and Christian working for you guys it is important to keep them, and keep them financially happy/content with all of what's going on with inflation. And for them to be this genuinely kind and helpful says a lot how they value this company, and people! Jherusa needs and deserves $10 raise with $2000 bonus and Christian $5 raise and also $1500 raise. Please take care of your employees here they are truly amazing!

This hotel is like the "Little Resort That Could". It is a Native American owned facility that appears to have been built in the 70's or 80's. The age is only reflected in the design. The property is clean, current, and everything seems to work. There is ample parking and the location is convenient to Universal Studios and Orlando's smaller attractions like the Orlando Wheel and individual rides like a slingshot and needle drop. The Staff: I only interacted with one individual. Luciana greeted me when I checked in and was very friendly and efficient. When my door lock gave me some challenges she was responsive and assistive. The room was refreshed with towels and the housekeeping staff seemed to be non-intrusive. The room: My room overlooked a small pond across Universal Blvd and the parking lot. It is a nice view but not one you sit and gaze at for hours. The room was clean and orderly, furniture seemed up to date, possibly new. The exception was the lounge chair which if new was stained. Probably needs to be replaced. Bed was comfortable with several squishy square pillows, sheets and duvet. I like a firm bed so it suited me just fine. There were plenty of towels, the bathroom was a good size, and the shower warm with water delivered under good pressure. Internet was speedy and easy to access by WiFi. Heat and Air was delivered by a fan-coil unit controlled on the unit under the window, Amenities: Pool, activity court, restaurant/bar, coffee shop and deli/pizza, ticket counter for the Orlando Parks focused on Universal. There did not appear to be a bell-hop, there was no valet service. I did not see a gym but I suspect there is one, and it is likely a decent one. The pool looked good with plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas. Food: I grabbed a hearty breakfast sandwich and coffee each of my three mornings ($12) from the pizza deli. Great service and a good sandwich with predictable coffee. Had dinner at the restaurant bar twice. Cold beer (decent selection) and the menu was what you'd expect at a hotel bar. Service was great, bar food was good, not spectacular. Overall this is a good location to stay where there are things to do, friendly staff. There were A LOT of families with children. My stay was during spring break and the hotel was not crowded but full. There were few young adults on party break. I was here for one of Orlando's largest conferences. The room rate was very affordable and I suspect that makes it attractive for families as well. I'd call it a good affordable way to stay in Orlando that is close to the parks with conveniences that keep it fun.

All the front desk personnel were so nice and helpful. Luciana was great. She went out of her way to help us. The fitness room needs better maintenance because some of the machines were in need of repair.

ive stayed here 2 times because i was going to universal and it was a good deal for a good price both times, the park was a 5 minute drive from the hotel the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating they even let me check in early the room was very nice and clean i do recommend staying here if you wanna save a bit more and if you are going to universal

Me and my family went on a trip to orlando. Being our first trip, we weren't familiar with anything. We almost got ripped off with a cab, but Diana from the resort was amazing helping us. We were able to have a safe cab thanks to her. She called us our cab and made sure it was the right one. We'll never be able to thank her enough for what she have done. Thank you again and be safe with cabs in orlando; never accept a cab from someone offering one to you.

The room I got smells very bad, the hotel night was very cheap but then I had to use an expensive cologne to make up for the terrible smell and it would be much easier to simply stay at a higher priced and newer hotel

I needed a reasonably priced hotel in Orlando and decided on The BW Orlando Gateway because of the reviews. And I was delightfully surprised at the professionalism and authentic charm of the staff especially Emmanuel and Vini. I arrived late at night after a 7 hour drive and only two hours of sleep the previous night. The gentleman helped me with my back-braking heavy luggage, told me about ) a great place to eat and even managed a good conversation about my trip to Brazil. The hotel was very clean, had a pretty good bodega/snack bar and the rooms were large and fresh. Also, thanks to the two guys working at the tour desk. Ill stay here again.

Great value! The comfortable sleep, pool, hot tub and location all build up the value for the price! Staff is friendly. Receptionist Emmanuel was super friendly and share with us all the information we have to know about hotel amenities, services and locations around it. The hotel was beyond my expectation. Awesome hot tub.

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. Stayed here three nights, completely comfortable and happy on our final night- one we had to ask housekeeping to come 3 times, the popcorn ceiling was falling off everywhere on the floor and was getting all over. So we asked them to please come and just sweep up a bit for us. They finally did 5 hours and 3 phone calls later. Next, after a great night out we returned to our room- adjoined with another to find extremely loud and biligerate people next door. The final straw was the assuming the "mother" screaming foul language at a very young child.i knocked three times on our adjoining door- to remind them others are present, and in return I got someone banging on my door cursing and calling me names. We asked the front desk twice with phone calls to simply switch our rooms. No security needed, just not comfortable please move us. Next thing I know the manager and security are at my door to tell me that they spoke with her and denies any if the negativity happening- I asked the manager come inside for five minutes and just listen and he completely snubbed me and my account of what happened. We immediately packed up and left the hotel. While packing we heard nothing but yelling and cursing from next door, even when another older child entered the room she began yelling at him. It was all disgusting and poor taste and I'm especially disappointed in how management handled the whole situation. We were there for days already, happy and not a bother to anyone why would he not listen to us? Obviously this is an isolated situation, but know going into it if you're not happy with your experience and express feeling unsafe- management does not have your back.

This hotel stay was everything I needed. It started at check-in with a warm greeting from Luciana, she was very personable and informative, made me feel very welcome. My room was great, clean and well appointed. Grabbed a couple of drinks at the bar; the bartender was also very nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us, even bringing a wine opener up to us after we left the bar for a bottle of wine we had. Used the hot tub and pool, both were very clean. Overall this hotel surpassed my expectations, and I will definitely stay here again.

There were some employees who had been rude during our encounter while waiting for the pool to open. When we brought it up so the front desk, the manager had stated if we have any similar experiences that we are to bring them to her attention immediately. Her demeanor was completely different from the other staff members. She handled the situation with absolute professionalism and after hearing her immediate report to her higher ups, I can say that the situation was handle well before another opportunity could arise.

I stayed at the best western Orlando gateway my first week of my new job in Orlando. I was waiting for my apartment lease to begin so unfortunately needed to find something affordable. Luciana at the front desk made me feel safe, and welcome my entire stay! She throughly explained all of the hotel offerings which includes a little cafe with great coffee. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to family when they come visit. The rooms were nice and clean. The support staff brought fresh towels and took my trash out every day. WiFi and parking was also included. I didn't have much time to enjoy the pool area, but it has two jacuzzi's and a basketball court which is unique for the area.

I generally hate writing reviews, but this hotel deserves it, because of its people!! It's simple to write a stark mad review, but the greatest ones are usually the silent ones. Not today! Emanuel and Luciana (sorry if I misspelled) truly are naturally wonderful people at the front line of this hotel! I hope hotel management understands the 10 star qualities both of these folks possess. Humble, above and beyond nature to help and considerate are just a few of many redeeming qualities. I travel to Orlando quite frequently for business and this time I happen to book this hotel. I have memberships with Hilton Honors and am a Spire Elite member with IHG. Great location, could use a little updating and more parking, but overall great value for everything! I go to Universal quite often and this is always one of my options of where to stay. I typically stay here when it's on the cheaper side since it doesn't offer free breakfast like my other choices.

This was the cheapest hotel in the area, but it was still nice. My room had an odor, but it was a pretty good room, especially for the price. The check in & out was fast and easy. The reservationist offered me a room with a view for an additional $4, so I took it. But, I was given a room overlooking the back parking lot. Very disappointing. The view rooms overlooked a lake and the theme parks. I think the check in clerk didn't pay attention to my reservation.

I came her for a few days and the customer service at the reception was AMAZING! They want to help me with all my needs and they solve any problem. Very good experience, very clean hotel, great value for money. We were very well attended by Luciana, receptionist. The room with everything we need for our stay. I definitely intend to go back to the hotel when I get back to Orlando, I highly recommend it.

Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean, but had left over hair here and there and odor/mildew issues in the bathroom. The decor was outdated and needed some cosmetic repairs in several places. On a budget and need a place to crash for a couple days with friends or family, I'd recommend it. If you have higher expectations, traveling for romantic purposes or extended stay, choose a higher end hotel.

Really liked the hotel! Luciana was very friendly, helpful and efficient made my stay easier and nicer! I truly recommend this place to everyone, excellent service, we had a nice time and will come back for sure!

Stayed for a few days to go to Universal Studios.it was very quiet for being so close to the parks. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Luciana was very helpful before and during our checking out process

Nice service at the Best Western. I arrived early from the airport and Luciana was able to get me a room early. She was also very nice, helpful, and accommodating, showing me where my room is located.

My friend and I needed a home base to be able to adventure around Orlando and we picked this particular BW because it has a great location! You can hear the screams from Universal from the parking lot lol. The staff were great very knowledgeable to the area and were so kind to accommodate our times. The room was spotless and I loved the towel art!!! Clean and comfortable in the rooms. The last was breakfast it's worth paying for the buffet breakfast! The Mickey waffles made my morning. The breakfast attendant was so super kind and on point helpful! Overall I would come back over and over again!

no complaints about hotel. however, I left my prescription glasses in the room by accident when I checked-out. I called three times and left messages for the manager and no one helped me or even called me back. very disappointed.

Each member told me different info. Made the reservations weeks prior, called and confirmed multiple times and when i got there they had different info and didn't let me check in (even tho it charged my account)

I'm a diamond elite member. My status wasn't recognized when I checked in. I had to tell the clerk, who them proceeded to upgrade my room. I asked for my complimentary water bottle and told they were out? You're out of water bottles but still able to charge $3 for one in the store? nice. Things got worse in the room. Phone not working, tub faucet spins so I couldn't take a proper shower. I write to desk manager about my issues, no response. After feedback with best western, the gen mgr (Mike Gush) writes an apology to me. Wow! an apology for a terrible stay? I feel so much better! NOT! so much for my room fee! all is forgiven

Friendly morning staff - nice clean hotel. Room would not cool below 70 degrees Closet door was off the rails Bath tub valve dripped all night - towel in the tub stopped the dripping sound. Requested handicap room and was not accomodated

My boyfriend rented this for 2 nights for my birthday trip. Nowhere in the room or reservation information, did it state that it was going to be an adjoining room-which we aren't comfortable with at all. We would've changed to another room if we had known, but it was late when we got in and we're too tired to switch at that point. Then we go to lay down and there aren't any normal sized pillows. There were 4 small square, throw-pillow size, pillows on the bed. When we went to call the front desk we found out the phone didn't work. I called from my cell phone and they informed us that they don't have any regular sized pillows to provide us. It was super uncomfortable waking up with our heads off the pillows after turning in our sleep. The carpet floorboards were coming off the wall-very unsightly. The first shower towel that I grabbed had some type of makeup on it still, which leads me to think they didn't wash them too well. Just an overall unhappy and dissatisfying experience. We will not be back and will discourage all family and friends from staying here when visiting the Orlando area.

The morning staff was completely rude and inconsiderate of an injury I got during my stay. There was no accommodations except for a worker that was renovating a room. I don't know if I'll come back again.

Came back into town for Halloween Horror Nights and stayed with my wife.We choose to stay here again because the staff are super friendly ( and funny at check in). The rooms are always clean and this time we got a room with new flooring which was very nice. I'm a light sleeper and tend to get up and walk around and talk to the staff. I really enjoyed meeting the security guard this time. We will be back with the kids next.

Booked this at last minute after getting out of Universal Studios, was super tired didn't have the energy to read the reviews. Advertising looked ok. I Get there to check in and the guy tells me that there is a $50 deposit fee. I asked for what he says for damages, I said ok NP. 10 mins later I go out to the hallway to get water out of the bending machine, there was a creepy guy standing, hallway smelled like weed, elevator , etc. Decided to go downstairs to make a complaint the guy was nice and offer to change my room I said no that it was ok, but that I just wanted to let them know what was the situation going on up there and that luckily I was only staying for a few hours.Checking out I asked when would I get the $50 fee deposit back he said it'll talks about 3 business days. Not worth it at all. When they have signs in the room that prohibit smoking. Carpets are filthy not to mention the bathroom and bathtub. Worst experience ever !!!

Had to go between 4 rooms just to get a clean enough one to sleep in which also had strong weed smell which then the manager asked me if I wanted to check out or take the room which was rude I was very polite and never yelled or got mad about any of the uncleanliness of the hotel. Which was very bad for a best western hotel.

The employees were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean; my only complaints is that the bathroom door was very loud and it was hard to close, and the AC was very loud and made it hard to fall asleep with. Other then that it was a great stay!

Great location, close to everything. Extremely friendly staff, the beds are insanely comfortable, as well as the pillows. Room was clean and comfy, AC worked fantastic. Pool was clean and a great amenity to have!

This hotel will charge you extra for an room. I still have not received my $50 hold fee back. When question the staff got an attitude. The question was smoking weed in the laundry room. Please stay somewhere else.

In our first room we found six (!) cockroaches in the first minute. We left immediately, got checked in to a new room, and that room was damp, smaller like mildew, the wall was rotting away by the floorboard, and we both woke up with caught from sleeping in a dank, mildewy environment. Really, really disappointed. I didn't expect Best Western to be the Ritz, but cockroach infested and rotting from mildew? No bueno. The front desk guy was helpful, but whoever manages that establishment is doing an awful job unfortunately.

Got into Orlando late on an international flight and got delayed clearing customs, so I got a crash pad for the night before heading home. Big mistake. It's clear the staff tries what they can keep as a clean as possible, but you can only polish a turd so much. It's run down and has that “CSI was here earlier in the day for a dead hooker” vibe to it.

I've stayed at this location a handful of times while visiting Orlando and never had an issue. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last time staying here. The first thing I noticed about my room was the odor, followed by the dirty items throughout and the refrigerator door that wouldn't close. Then came the bugs. I was placed in a room with bugs. LOTS of bugs. After dropping off my luggage and returning to find it covered in roaches and some other unidentifiable bugs, I contacted staff and was promptly given another room. Upon entering the 2nd room I immediately noticed the strong odor of smoke and marijuana. There were also black marks on the walls. After contacting staff again a 3rd room was given, supposedly an upgrade. This room was satisfactory compared to the previous 2, however on my last night there I pulled back the sheet on top of the comforter on my bed and noticed blood on it. Needless to say, my faith in this hotel's cleanliness has been shattered. I won't be staying here again.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and well maintained. Christian is the most hospitable and professional manager that I ever met. He solved a problem very fast. I was happy that I decided to stay at this hotel.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, shower was nice. Helpful staff with anything that was needed. Easy check in and check out. Nice pool. Good location, close to several attractions. No issues with anything.

Our party of 3 was very pleased with our stay here. The room was very clean, beds so comfortable and we was impressed with the bedding itself. The room had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and it was also soundproof. It was well worth what we paid and we will go back there for any future stays.

Sadly, this used to be my favorite spot to stay in Orlando; but this last stay at this hotel was awful. We paid for a king size bedroom and the bathroom was smaller than the closet :"literally"; then the tub was flitty and the rooms service personnel were loud at 9am . We have a late check-out and we had to leave earlier.

1.everything is old, needs repairs EVERYWHERE! 2. A whole 4 day stay not one time did housekeeping or room service come even after I asked . 3. Not enough space to go on with the problems of this place.

Since the beginning an extremely rude guy from maintenance...he doesn't have manners at all!! The check-in really late...I mean everything was not was I was expecting...I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL EVER IN MY LIFE!!

The front desk staff were friendly our whole stay and went out of their way to answer questions. Our room was very clean and they came around daily to offer fresh towels and to remove our garbage which was great to have this option during COVID. Breakfast was great with the price being fair. What I liked was that the staff were always around doing something, inside, outside, always busy. I definitely would stay here again as it was relaxing and in a great location.

After a very long day of concerts and fun, my daughter and I definitely needed rest. The room was so fresh and clean. The lady at the desk who checked us in was very nice and friendly. I look forward to another stay very soon.

Sent a request to check in late (10 pm). Arrived at 9.40pm wet because of the thunderstorm of the day, took more than an hour to check in because they didn't have access to the system or something. A client was requesting a refund because they've charged a different amount than what was promised, another one complaining because all of his luggage got wet and he had a flight, zero solutions to both because still no internet, we were considering going somewhere else but they have already charged $50 to my cc and to get that back will take forever. Finally got our keys to the room, on the first floor, right beside the laundry room and the view was to the parking lot, so zero privacy and very noisy... There were cockroaches in the room, the AC was smelly, but we were so tired we went to sleep. At 7 am the house keeper knocked 3 times so obviously woke us up. Thankfully we just stayed one night.

We chose this hotel because it was a Best Western and close to everything. We walked into the room and were disappointed by how old everything seemed. The room had a bit of a smell to it, and many of the furnishings were old. We also went to the cafe the night we arrived, and were disappointed in the service and food. The staff that we encountered were relatively nice, but I wish we had a more modern stay.

Well maintained hotel, close to universal, different stores and restaurants. Super helpful, friendly and caring staff. Has a nice pool, 2 hot tub, basket ball court, gym, free internet and a great restaurant.

No one including supervisors take responsibility for being overcharged on both credit and debit cards as of today the charges are still showing up I called several times and emailed I would never stay at this property again .

I initially booked my stay at this hotel for four nights, however due to the poor conditions of my room and the overall cleanliness of the hotel I checked out after the first night. The hotel ventilation system is weak. The second you walked into the lobby the smell of weed hits you and it lingers throughout the hotel. My room was awful, carpet was filthy, water stains in the ceiling, AC not working properly and the bed linen were dingy. I would say the staff is nice, however I would not recommend this hotel at all. It needs serious renovating.

This hotel failed in every possible way. Roach in the room, poor management, staff person named Chris in bar/restaurant was beyond rude and should not be employed. Stay away and try a hotel that actually provides customer service to All customers.

There are few better options nearby. This hotel has not good facilities but you must pay 9usd daily for some useless services, such as parking (supposedly free), wifi (9usd daily per room?), shuttle to the park (useless if you have early pass or wanna stay later than 7pm at the park)… They have not clean service because covid19 but they do the trash if you ask for it. This is a big lie, because we asked for it and they never did it. They don't have good services in the hotel, such as food and others basic needs and the only shop they have, sells bad quality and expensive food.

Where to begin... well.. At 11pm friday night we had to leave because a woman was BANGING on the room in front of us SCREAMING obscenities for someone to "get the f*ck outta this room" and that she was "going to f*cking kill them tonight" we packed up and left since it was RIGHT in front of our door and we weren't taking a chance. if that wasn't enough the pillows had makeup all over them and didn't look as though they had been washed, hair in the bed,, the bathroom was falling apart and there were alot of stains on the carpets. The front desk was no help when we told them of the incident above and all they said was security has been called and that they "can move us to a different floor" but then right after said "we have no more rooms available for the night" so which is it? We had to leave because we didn't know if that woman had a gun or was going to cause more disruptions or bodily harm to someone there and we aren't going to risk it. Ive tried calling the hotel and resolving but it just rings and rings and rings. Avoid this place at ALL cost. We ended up finding a room at the Drury and it was amazing. TURN YOUR EYES AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ASAP! I would give negative stars if I could.

Universal Studios must remove this hotel from their sponsored hotel list. I am not sure what criteria did the Universal Studios use to pick up this hotel. Hotel staff was not aware of their relationship with Universal Studios. Room was small and extremely dirty. The queen size beds are actually twin size beds. The food service is terrible. Restaurant closed at 9.30 PM although the front desk mentioned it closes at 11.00 PM. No transportation to theme parks. It was not worth staying here.

Close to Universal Studios. Inexpensive compared to the IN PARK hotels. You totally get what you paid for but if you are on a budget, this is a decent hotel to stay at. The breakfast was a buffet and had everything you need for a quick bite.

The ac stopped working, the sheets were wrinkled, not enough staff, the shower knobs came unscrewed. The front desk was never available and they lied about free breakfast. We never received clean towels.. the mini refrigerator stopped working. Worst hotel my family ever stayed at..

I took a trip down to orlando this past week and stayed at this hotel! The rates were great, staff was super friendly and quick check in and check out. The food was great as well in the restaurant and quite honestly I had a blast. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Orlando.

The employees were great. The room however was not so much. Water dripping from the celling above in the bathroom over the shower. Air didn't work and the place smelled like mamajuana. I normally go to a best western when i travel. I don't know that i will continue. They were going to change my room but i would have had to re-check in everyday because the place was full and i was staying for 5 days all together. I wasnt going to leave the park just to come back and re-check in.

A decent, clean hotel with an on the ball manager and front desk staff. Rooms were clean. I do prefer Tile floors over carpet. Buffet was average but with Covid, at least it was offered. For the location and price, I would stay again.

I stay at this specific Best western a couple times each month to go to Universal Orlando (I'm at 3 park passholder and Florida resident). I don't like the 1 1/2 drive early in the morning so I stay here the night before and take the complimentary shuttle to City Walk and the 3 theme parks! Breakfast buffets is reasonably priced and the food is great! All staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful! If I ever have an issue, it's resolved quickly! The property is always clean and the decor is nice! I have stayed here over a dozen times in the last year, and will continue to stay in the future!

The hotel itself isn't spectacular but the staff makes up for it with their kindness. They are really great and caring. All but the manager that is. I believe his name is David/Dave. He is bald and shorter. When we brought up a concern just to understand he immediately went on the defense and only tried to prove his point instead of helping us. We are not ones to complain and I have worked in the company before so I am pretty loyal to BW but he made us want to check out and go to a different hotel. When we came back from dinner later on after the first argument. He pulled us aside and tried to prove his point once again instead of trying to make us feel better or just letting it go. He even printed out papers and highlighted arguments. Keep in mind we didn't once tell him he was wrong. We were just trying to understand. The hotel in general is good. The staff is all great. If he is ever fired I will 100% return. As long as he is there I will not return to the hotel. He should not be in hospitality. Attached is the housekeeping policies for Covid. So you can be aware of their new policies since they don't tell you.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent location, nice pool. Close to restaurants. On site restaurant so you don't have to leave for breakfast. Parking was close to the entrance. Smelled clean. Quiet.

We spent a Friday night here on a last minute reservation. First time at this hotel so I was not sure what to expect. The hotel was full and very noisy but not throughout the night. Parking was adequate. I though all Best Westerns included breakfast, but not here. There is a coffee/pastry shop in the eating area and breakfast was around $11. However, there was still a coffee maker in the room. There was a nice view from the 7th floor. Traffic in Orlando is horrendous but surprisingly not in front of the hotel. We could make a left turn out of the hotel without any problem. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Universal.

Convenient area. You can get to theme parks and food easily. The hotel has a restaurant inside. It's kind of pricey but nice. The pool are is cool and big enough for everyone. The rooms are average nothing special.

Rooms. Very clean. Maids beyond my expectations.. front desk ladys. Very friendly. Helpful... normally at the Hilton not any more.. very classy .. Swan towel beautiful touch... gym. Was clean. Pool very refreshing

Everyone is kind and helpful, safe area too! Good family option! Clean with a nice pool. The breakfast area and food was very good. 10/10 would recommend this location and eating here too. Other restaurants are close by including xrreme pizza(delicious and affordable plus friendly staff).

Read the fine print. Hotel is in serious need of a remodel. There are no USB chargers in the room. Carpet is soiled. Everything is just gross. You pay a daily resort fee but nothing is open resort wise except the pool. People run up and down the halls all night slapping the doors and screaming. This is a non-smoking hotel or you can smell is marijuana everywhere. Hotel is so short staffed especially in the evenings. You have to empty your own trash every day and go downstairs to get things you need like towels, etc.

They gave me a dirty room to start that was attached to another room by a door, then they moved us and both rooms smelled bad!!! It did not feel safe and they clean every 4 days so don't expect them to clean your room if you stay less than 4 days!!!

Very nice staff. Clean rooms. Only issue is that the hallways smell like weed day and night. Non smoking hotel but it seems like that doesn't pertain to marijuana. Inside Rooms didn't smell. Otherwise great value and gracious staff.

This hotel is very reasonably priced and well worth the stay if you are looking for something clean, affordable, and good location. I have stayed here quite a few times and always get the King suite, it is my go to when I come to Orlando or stay a night on the way to Miami. The rooms may be a little outdated decor wise but it's not that big of a deal for what you are getting. They have decent sized TVs as well compared to other hotels. I have no complaints, each time I've stayed here has been great and I will continue to stay here in the future as well!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel; The team made our stay enjoyable and provided us with information as well as anything we requested like extra towels quickly. Only issue was at check-in we asked about amenities and the hot tubs, outside lounge/hammock area, fitness center where all closed - we understood with the protocols in place, however nothing was indicated on the website.

Usually would praise BW hotels but the lack of health precautions was absolutely mind blowing. Guests walking around with no masks in lobby and other common areas shared by guests. No sanitizing for general areas of touch and employees ignoring lack of mask wearing. Employee rode the elevator with people not wearing masks and nothing was said.

Great hotel, very clean, beds comfy, great price for the location. 5 min from Idrive, restaurants and Starbucks. Great onsite deli, breakfast buffet looked great for $11.50. The gym was closed, but that's expected during covid. Hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
