Located very close to the railstation feeling we were hit by the train every hour... not very family friendly with kids regurlarly waking up at night. Disapointed :( (should have checked the map more closely before booking)

Linda E, Front Office Manager at Livin Station Hotel, responded to this review
Hi, Sorry to hear that you and your children were disturbed by the trains, preventing you from a good night's sleep! The windows of our rooms are sound isolated, but during this heat wave, perhaps you had to have them open. Again, apologies that you were disappointed with your stay. If you choose to stay with us again, please let us know, and we'll do our absolute best to make sure you get a sound isolated room and have a better experience! Kind regards, Ylva, Front Desk Livin Station

Very friendly, clean and welcoming with attractive modern Scandinavian decor. Very handy for the bus and train stations. Good breakfast and the proprietor was delightful, It's next door to the Espresso House which lacks the personality of an owner managed place. The cafe/bistro is open all day.

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We are so happy that you enjoyed you stay with us and we wish you a warm welcome back! Kind regards

Clean, comfortable and central! The bed was pretty ok, I would have preferred a queen size bed (got a single). A really nice touch with the different tea options. For ones it's nice quality tea! Just make shore to Eat before you arrive if you are checking in after 20:30. The hotel restaurant closes at 21:00. Hade a Really Nice breakfast! I would Definitely stay here again!

+ Very good location of the hotel just next to the main railway station + Nicely furnished and decorated room with a comfortable bed - a good quality sleep (surprisingly, you are not disturbed by trains and cars at all, you don't hear almost anything in the room) + Everything very clean and fresh + A hair-dryer, an iron and iron board, a boiling kettle and tea/coffee available in the room - what I especially liked was that they had in offer "Night Time" tea (in many other hotels they offer only black tea which is not good in the evening) + Very nice and helpful staff + A personal welcoming note in your room with candies - you feel really welcome + A very good breakfast (I would say a standard Swedish offer which means eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, paté, müsli, yoghurts, fruits, vegetable, tea/coffee, juice, etc.) - The only downside was a chilly room when I came - the heater was not working, I asked the receptionist for help but she did not know how to set up heater either - at the end, I asked for additional blanket and the night was totally fine (I slept as a baby:-) ) I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Stayed here for just one night on the way up north for a skiing holiday. The hotel is very new (opened Sept 2016) and has just 15 or 16 bedrooms but everything was great. Spacious family room, excellent breakfast and a very good night's sleep. Very central location, right next to the train station but we were not disturbed at all by the trains thanks to the excellent sound insulation. Highly recommended.
