Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn & Suites

They were very good and worked with us to help keep all the kids in our group entertained while we stayed there for a tournament. Everyone was friendly and all the rooms were clean and as described online

Everything about this day was excellent. The staff were very efficient. The whole property was clean and well-maintained. The beds were good and the room was very comfortable. The TV system could use some updating. It's the cheapest type of cable box available and it's not high definition. That would be my only complaint though breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked 20 rooms for my wedding, and customer service was terrible. I work in group customer service, and I could not believe such a big corporation lacked so much in customer service. Anywhere would be better then this place. The lady who helped me was so unaccommodating to me and my guest! Just RUDE!

Whenever possible, my husband and I ONLY stay at the Best Western hotel chain. This Best Western is no different,....also a lovely hotel,..very clean, with extremely friendly staff. Our room was on the 5th floor and I could see our vehicle down below.which was great. The breakfast did not disappoint, it was plentiful and had everything you could imagine from scrambled eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, muffins, yogourt and much more.

We have had no problems. The pool is great, the hot tub was fixed and so relaxing! The breakfast is great. There is now a new coffee machine that gives hot chocolate, fr. vanilla, etc. and my kids sure loved it! So pleased!

We received great service and the breakfast was very good too! We needed a plug to charge our cell phones and the hostess let us use her personal one. Room was neat and clean! Great to have invoice emailed to our email, not wasting paper.

Had to cancel last min and instead of being charged a reasonable cancel rate which I completely understand I was charged for the full room rate. Due to this policy I will NOT be staying with BW from now on.

We have been to many hotels over the years while playing hockey. This was by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at! The rooms were clean, the staff were great, lots of parking and the breakfast each day was PHENOMENAL! Amazing experience, highly recommended.

Very expensive for room selected. Noisy AC. Lighting and plumbing issues. These were fixed. Pool was nice and well as the hot tub. Location was near my place of activities. I am a BW member but received no recognition for this.

I stayed at this property multiple times over the last 6 months and every time I stay it's always a great experience, the rooms are very clean the lobby is beautiful and the staff is super friendly I would 100% recommend this location

We stayed at this hotel because, having gotten used to small town living, we have become unaccustomed to major traffic issues, pollution and other big city issues. This hotel offers a healthier alternative, less surrounding traffic, and a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and was well worth it with good amenities.

This hotel was relatively well situated for us, about a 40 minute drive from Alliston where my son participated in a tournament. Right beside the hotel is located a Boston Pizza for supper and at a very short drive away you will find many coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It was great that breakfast was provided unlike a fair number of hotels I have stayed at recently. The best feature in the room is the quality of the mattresses. They are so thick! What a dream for your back! You'll get a great night's sleep.

We stayed one night for work and we were impressed at how clean it was, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would definetly stay here again when we are back in town. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was hot, Thanks

We stayed in this hotel to go to a celebration of life for a family member. The staff was amazing and our room was clean and updated but the air conditioning was unacceptable. The unit could not go below 70°F before before freezing up and instead and blowing heat at us. As it is summer, they would only accept a minimum of 2 nights stay. This was pretty awful without air conditioning in a July heat wave.

Check-in was very smooth & reception girls are nice; however, the kitchen & housekeeping service is terrible. We were told breafast is from 7-10am. It was a long weekend already, & NOBODY informed us that it's 7-9 on weekdays. It's Monday of Canada day's long weekend; we went for breakfast at 9:15, to find that they were removing all the food!! I spoke to the receptionist & explained that we were not told it's till 9. She was really nice, apologized that we were not informed, & made a call to the kitchen & asked them to make us something to eat. We went back to meet an old rude lady who literally said: “I have no time to cook for you!!” & she pointed to the pan where there were white beans, & wanted us to eat from it!! I told her we have a medical condition & we don't eat beans. She was extremely rude & was not willing to help at all, & for the sake of not ruining our day more than it's been already ruined at this hotel, we just left & checked out without having breakfast! The receptionist promised to deliver what happened to the management, which I doubt she will. We're definitely never going back there. Moreover; we haven't had any kind of housekeeping service at all during our stay!! Nothing special about this place; no nice views, no beach!! Literally nothing!! U'll feel like imprisoned in there!

The hotel was very clean, the staff were excellent. Hot breakfast included. the meeting room was large and the recommended catering was excellent. the hotel room was a suite, with desk, chair, microwave and fridge. nicer than some GTA bachelor appartments! close to golf, hiking, cycling, pubs and other dining and shops. a definite win. we'll use this location again.

We were in Orangeville for a lacrosse tournament. The staff ensured our enjoyment. Having the breakfast available early was perfect for us. Along with a Boston Pizza on the property was perfect. The pool was in good shape. The hotel is newer and in good condition.

Checked us in to an already occupied room. Seemed flustered when requested a move. Room was not what we were promised. Sheets were dirty and hvac kept us up all night - so loud when turns on and off.!

My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Loved the kitchenette set up. Will definitely stay here again. My room was not ready at check-in because guests were late in leaving and the hotel was fully booked the night before. It would have been appreciated of a phone call or email. Fortunately, I was able to pivot and accomplish a few things prior to checking in a few hours later.

The Orangeville Best Western is a well-cared for facility that does it's best to keep its clients happy. The rooms are clean and bright with housekeeping scheduled on request. The pool and exercise room are available throughout the day and evening. A friendly staff is available for questions and assistance as needed.

Staff are amazing!! Internet and breakfast are great.. nice and quiet. Anything you need or may have forgotten they will go out of thier way to help you. Simple things or more. Always a smile and have a good day...

We enjoyed our stay though a short one, we found it very convenient as they had a Boston Pizza in the same parking lot which was open late. The location was great, easy check in and out, great customer service.

Breakfast included until 10am-food ran out by the time we arrived at 9:30am. One spoonful of scrambled eggs that was left had something black in them (inedible), remaining 9 tater tots were cold and hard, waffle ‘mix' came out of the dispenser as a liquid sludge. NOT impressed!! I complained and received a freshly made waffle with some hash browns as a ‘sorry for the inconvenience'. Curtains on our window were falling down on the right side. Found a black hair in the bathroom (we're both grey!!)

Television was not working,problem could not be rectified at 2:30 am-understandable.Ice maker on my floor out of order-had to use elevator to go up a floor to get ice-again not a huge problem.Lighting in the kitchenette was not working-minor annoyance.Was put off at breakfast when I saw something grey in my sister's eggs,I was afraid to eat anything that had been prepared in the kitchen. Overall,this is a very nice hotel and is kept very clean,however I expect far better than I experienced for the price that I was told.Please note that I did receive a small discount due to the television being out of order.

Leaky faucets dripping all the time wallpaper peeling in one room. Hot tub not working. Whirlpool tub not working in other room. Lots of road noise in rooms. On a positive side breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

We spent one night, the room was very roomy. Everything was clean. The kitchenette had lots of dishes although we didn't use it. The breakfast was plentiful - lots of choice, loved the waffle maker with the BW stamp. Great batter-right consistency.

Extremely disappointed to arrive and find out not only is the hot tub closed for maintenance; but it's been closed since the start of Covid. :( This should be posted on their website. We could've booked elsewhere. (Note: hot tub is for medical use prior to outings, not just for pleasure. ) The Hotel itself is nice & staff are friendly. Just disappointed.

Very helpful staff in an unexpected situation. The night front desk clerk went out of her way to make sure we had breakfast at 4:30am when everything else was closed. I was not surprised by this helpful staff because we have had other very experienced staff help us in some difficult situations.

Great spot to stay in Orangeville with friends or even family staff was great room was great for what wee needed and the complimentary breakfast was appreciated. Will book again if staying in the area

I have had to stay in different hotels lately due to safety reasons until something more permanent was available. Best western plus was by far the best one for being kid friendly, room size and comforts for the cost was excellent plus the pool and breakfast! Totally worth the price and the staff are always friendly and helpful!

The room was clean .. nights were quite ... breakfast was good ... hot tub closed at the time of our stay ... My husband liked he heat light in the bathroom that he used during showering ... easy check-in and checkouts .. convenient location

This style of room was great for folks who may have an early riser. I get up early, like to get on my laptop or watch TV and not disturb anyone else. The little living room section away from the main sleeping area was a great bonus.

Tap water tastes like some chemicals mixed in it and they ask you to buy water from vending machine with coins. Bring your own water bottles cause literally got the response that vending machine is the only option, if you got no coins, that's not their problem.

A little pricey for what you get but in general it was a lovely experience. Food was good, bed was comfy, and the shower had good pressure. The reason this review is rather basic is nothing really stood out to me in terms of a reviewable experience but I was happy with the stay.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were so nice. It felt cozy and homely, while also giving off a vacation vibe. The service was just incredible.

Was forces to pay for 2 nights when I only needed 1. They wouldn't let me book a block of rooms for my wedding guests. Failed to tell me that there was a "damage deposit" above and beyond the price shown on my bill. $250 each room!!! My bill was already over $1000, now they wanted me to pay an extra $500 without telling me when I booked the rooms.

I had no pull out sofa in room and asked for a cot on a Tuesday night. I was told there was none available and given a fitted sheet and blanket to sleep on the floor. The adjoining room was empty and was offered that at full price on a weeknight.

We enjoyed our stay, if only for an overnight duration. Helpful communications before arriving and friendly, accommodating staff made this very pleasant. Bright, spacious lobby presented a welcoming impression. Excellent breakfast experience with everything fresh and available. Attentive staff on hand to keep it that way. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel , big spacious lobby and restaurant next door. Pricey for a small town but the pool was worth it. . Rooms are not Deaf friendly as no visual detectors or door flash . Breakfast was nice 7 to 9 am,

Because of a bad experience at a motel that I had already reserved. I found myself looking for a room at 10:30 at night. The check-in staff was very friendly, very accommodating and was able to give us a great room at a great rate. I will be staying at this Best Western next time. I am in Orangeville.

We stayed here for an overnight stay I'm having a hard time finding anything wrong with this hotel,,,everything was excellent, from the room to the service,the breakfast the pool and location , highly recommend staying here

My six year old and I stayed for a night during March break, The pool areas was open good hours and was clean. We found the staff to be really friendly. Only issue was the room looked a bit dated which made me feel like i was overpaying.

This hotel is clean overall and the staff are great. However, the rooms are dated and the beds are horribly uncomfortable. Peeling wallpaper and very loud heating system are not acceptable at the price charged.

Excellent staff and clean room. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold foods in a buffet. The rooms are not designed with the guest in mind. There are no outlets near the centre of the bed and no USB outlets anywhere. There are no bed reading lamps tailored for reading at just one of the two beds. Thermostat did not work.,

It was our honeymoon trip and we asked for anything they could do to make it special. We were given a small room with peeling, dirty wallpaper and families on either side (the screaming children in the hallway was a treat to wake up early to). There were dirty dishes in the kitchenette, used hygiene products in the bathroom, and you could tell the room was not properly cleaned before we arrived—which is a concern during a pandemic. Overall, not a great stay for the high price point.

It's a good hotel the breakfast was more than I expected it's a full breakfast so that was great. It's conveniently located beside Boston Pizza and close to downtown Orangeville. The rooms are a bit outdated but spacious. It's clean and good hotel. We had an issue with the pool not working and that not being advertised and our bath tub the stopper didn't work. So really you just have a room and a TV but this is a good place to go if you are skking in the area. Mattress is hard as well

So a friend & I decided on an Orangeville overnight stay to get a much needed break from the four walls of home. We didn't expect too much for the price and to be fair Best Western hotels aren't known as a luxury brand. Well, wasn't we in for a surprise! Huge room, spotlessly clean, friendly & helpful staff and a hotel room window that actually opens to get that much needed fresh air into the room. Would definitely stay there again.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Our bed was so comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were very pleasant! They even had waffles for breakfast. Ya, waffles!! We will definitely be back!!!

A great stay with Best Western, we were extremely happy with the room and all of its conveniences, we will definitely stay again.This was just a nice little getaway stay that was a last minute trip and was totally enjoyable even with the covid restrictions. Thankyou Best Western for a super stay.

Having not been anywhere during Covid, we appreciated the e.mail we received prior to check in informing us of the cleaning practices now used in the hotel. We found the check in to be well organized, and we felt safer knowing that patrons had to show proof of vaccinations at check in. The hotel was very pleasing to the eye. We did find 2 used towels hanging behind the bathroom door upon arrival, but we didn't complain as the rest of the room was spotless.

Nice place but the room had visible water damage, peeling wallpaper, and mold. Woke up stuffed up from the mold in the room. Bed was way too soft and hurt my back. Hardly any breakfast options. Would not stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient. However, I wish there was more parking for larger trucks. The water taps did not have cold water, also the keycards were finicky. My overall stay was excellent, thank you to Best Western!

Excellent hotel to stay with above service at front desk. Boston Pizza Bar and Grill a minute walk from the hotel is just wonderful. Close to Orangeville downtown. Close to great fishing at the Island Lake Conservation Park

4 of us stayed at the Best Western! It is in a great location - close to many things Orangeville has to offer. The Lobby has a friendly appeal. The staff were kind and assisted us when needed. Due to Covid the pool is closed and the breakfast is pre bagged. I miss the large buffet, but these options are a good substitute given our current situation.

It was a place to stay overnight after a wedding. We were able to check in early - which really helped - and the bedroom suite had a handy kitchenette. For those who like to walk... the very nearby Island Lake Conservation Area has year round boardwalks to walk on. Fabulous walking!

Brought my daughter and nieces here for a small prom celebration as all school proms were cancelled this year. We decorated room as a surprise and staff were very accommodating in letting other family help me get it ready. That made the girls night extra special. Hotel was very clean, staff went above and beyond, we will definitely return!

The Best Western staff were exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor was lovely. I left my e-reader in the room and the staff ensured it was safely returned to me. It's very convenient having breakfast provided as well.

Best place to stay in orangeville, it was neat clean and very good location. The staff is also very courteous and happy with high Morales. The hall is great and needs so work for the water leak right in the middle of the reception area but I am sure it will be taken care of soon.

Staff was professional and kind. Room was clean and modern. Close proximity to everything. Would definitely stay at a Best Western Plus again. The beds were very comfortable and had lots of pillows to choose from.

The General Manager was able to accommodate our special requests, regarding early check-in, as we were attending the wedding of our daughter near-by. She was welcoming and courteous, exhibiting excellent customer service.

Unfortunately we were travelling during Covid so many of the amenities were not available but the price did not seem to be adjusted accordingly - we stayed at a comparable Airport Hotel in Toronto that had more service and was half the price

Sitting on a hill on the north side of Highway 10 as you approach Orangeville from the South, this BWPlus has a great view of the city and countryside. It's also a 5 minute drive to the gates of Island Park Conservation Area, a beautiful park. Since Covid-19 practices were in place I will mention the outstanding cleanliness of the lobby, the elevator and guest room, as well as enforcement of all mask wearing and social distancing practices throughout the building. The folks at Front Desk were welcoming and helpful with directions to places (since there were no maps available.) Having a Boston Pizza next door with a large outdoor patio was also very convenient. I would most definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at this location , the front desk was very helpful . The rooms were clean and safe ! The breakfast to go option was very helpful , giving these times . Also very clean lobby and hotel . Close to many shops and restaurants . I would highly recommend and stay again .

Went to visit my sister and husband for a small getaway and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is excellent with superb service and amenities, unfortunately most all of them were not available due to the virus. The dining area for breakfast was corded off but a carry bag was offered instead. I have stayed at other local motels but for comfort this is the best hotel in orangeville. They have a Boston pizza right next door and they were open and serving in the patio only, it was extended into some of the parking lot. I enjoyed my stay, the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Room had a large TV, fridge,microwave, coffee station and a small kitchen area with plates and cutlery, see photos.

From heightened levels of cleaning, periods of vacancies for rooms to ensure safety and to go breakfast bags Best Western Orangeville has exceeded our expectations!! Thank you for a great stay! We will be back!

We stayed here before and quality of service and cleanliness continues .Easy highway access with restaurants and shopping close by .Rooms were spacious and clean .Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items .

Well designed place. The facility is modern and easy to access. There was not enough parking to accommodate all the guests but it was accessible and they had staff directing the overflow cars. The hotel staff are very pleasant and hard working. The food is good - there is also a Boston Pizza located right beside this location so there are lots of good food options.

The facility is 1st rate. However, the noise emminating from the adjacent highway is terrible. Traffic has to accelerate to get up the hill or gear down to stop at the lights at the bottom of the hill. During rush hour there has to be hundreds of vehicles passing the facility. There is a steady stream of traffic passing by during the night.

While the staff did a good job they are simply overworked and check in seems to have far more paperwork than most hotels. Wait time when it is busy is terrible. Many guests were complaining of 30 and 40 minute wait times to check in. I know running a business means keeping costs under control but poor service drives customers away. The rooms are nice and kitchenette is well stocked. The plumbing is very loud. You can hear it three rooms away. Nice pool area for children. Reasonable breakfast with ample seating area. Lots of free parking around building.

We were storm stayed at this location. In the Past we have had good stays at other Best Westerns in other area's. The room was clean, the road outside noisy. We woke up to not water, not enough to even brush your teeth. We had to leave early and had processed the early check out service. Other guests whom did not take that service were getting refunds. I was given a card with the manager number, I left several messages. no one return my call.

The hotel rooms have a great design. The check in service is terrible. The breakfast is moderate. And the plumbing is the loudest of any hotel I have ever stayed at. It sounds like someone is crashing through the walls.

The cleaning staff were amazing and very helpful. Front desk is not friendly or helpful. I think they seemed over worked or felt their job was a chore. The rooms are very clean and amenities are quite decent.

I was in Orangeville by myself as my mother had passed and the staff at the hotel were very caring and compassionate. This made a tragic time just a bit easier to manage. The room was perfect, exceptionally clean and very spacious. Thank you to all the staff.

Was told a week prior that our stay had to be a minimum 2 night stay. Although when booking wasn't informed of this. Half of the rooms face hwy 10 so if you like sleeping next to the highway have at it. Staff tends to be hit or miss at the front desk encountered rude staff a few times. The other half was pleasant

Very nice clean hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size. Pool was a little small but the kids loved it, and they have a hot tub. Close to all amenities and easy to get to. We would stay there again.

I stayed here during a work trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful with local information. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfy. The pool was nice and warm and not much people using it which made it great. The breakfast was pretty decent. Around 10 min away is the island lake, which is a lovely place for a walk and a picnic. Orangeville town centre is also around 10 min away with plenty of shops and restaurants around.

Checked in to attend a new years eve wedding held at the millcroft inn. Staff were friendly..quick at checking in..apologetic for wait time..not their fault as there was a lot of people checking in. Next morning well wishes to all guests they saw with happy new year..enquired about the wedding...remembered why we were there. I would stay again in a heart beat

The rooms were bigger then expected, which is always a nice treat. The pool could have been a bit bigger, but all the kids were pretty happy with it. Our hockey team was given a conference room free of charge, and that was very appreciated as the kids were able to play around without disrupting the other guests. Over all, a pleasent stay and we will stay there again if the time arises.

Would have been nice if the hotel would have informed us that there were 2 hockey teams staying at the hotel. Kids running up/down the hallway, knocking on doors in the wee hours of the morning.. not impressed. We hardly slept, then had a three hour drive home!

A gem on the highway! Truly an astonishing surprise to find a building with such sophistication on Highway 10 and Highway 9 in Orangeville. The rooms are spacious and clean, fresh crisp linens, comfortable mattress, variety of pillows, a kitchenette complete with microwave, dishes, cutlery, fridge and coffee maker! Front desk staff was welcoming and organized. I am IMPRESSED!

Hotel is way overpriced for what you get! Rooms are showing their age, free breakfast was not good at all! I have stayed at many other Best Western hotels that are much cheaper , staff is more friendly and the free hot breakfast is far superior than this place.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2018. My review is late as I was hoping to give the hotel management a chance to compensate me for my "bad experience". I arrived to my room after midnight and was looking forward to a good nights sleep as I had an early morning meeting. The noise from the next room startled me awake about 12:30 am . I waited about an hour before calling the front desk. They said it would be looked after. At 3 am I phoned to say I was packing up, they said the police had been called and the guests next to me would be removed shortly. The noise stopped somewhere around 4 am and I finally got to sleep. I checked out around 8 am and was awarded a 20% discount. I was too tired to say anything at the time so left it at that. I know it's not the hotels fault for the behaviour of their crazy guests however it's not my fault either and I paid them to come there to sleep. I have cause to be in the Orangeville area next week and decided to give the hotel a call to see if they would like a chance to make it right. Well, they offered to book my room but could offer no other "special price" for my bad experience. The hotel staff said they would have a manager call me to discuss the issue. That was over a week ago and I never heard back from them. I will stay elsewhere in my future visits to the area

This hotel is clean, spacious and very functional. It was the quietest room I've ever had, you could barely hear anyone else and yet there were tons of kids staying. (Hockey tournament and gymnastics teams). The breakfast was hot, fresh and lots of options available. We will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was nice. Very well kept. The staff were very cordial at the front desk. Our room however really stunk. It smelt like sewage coming from the bathroom pipes. And I was not offered an express checkout. I had to go to the counter and wait in line to check out which was annoying. The hotel is in a great location close to a restaurant which was nice. I felt that the price $200 per night was extravagant given it is in Orangeville!! Nothing spectacular to justify this price!

The location is the best reason to stay at this Hotel if you are planning any event at Caledon Equestrian Center. We attend the Ingrid Klimke Master Class and enjoyed the ease to go back and forth to the event. Also close to excellent eating places.

My friend and I planned a girls weekend including a visit to a local spa. We ended up booking this hotel. We got a suite on the 5th floor. It was a huge space, that included a kitchenette and 2 queen beds. It is a quick drive to restaurants and shopping. There is a Boston Pizza right across the parking lot. The staff were very friendly. The weekend we stayed there was a wedding going on, as well as other events, so it seems to be popular hotel to hosts events at. The dining area was very generous and breakfast is included. It had a range of options from pancakes and waffles, to sausage and eggs. I believe there was also a fitness area but we didn't use it. This hotel is a little more on the expensive than I prefer but in this instance we decided to splurge.

This hotel was great - the rooms are clean and modern with ample seating area space for impromptu meetings. The breakfast has lots of touches like fresh fruit, a waffle maker with flavoured syrups and whip cream. There is plenty of free parking and the free hotel internet is very fast.

Be careful about booking at this hotel on certain weekends in the winter and long weekends. Two night minimum and double the price. $900 plus taxes for the weekend. Owner/operator of hotel jacks the prices up when they are planned events in the area. Great hotel otherwise, but owner/operator of hotel is greedy!

We stayed one night here while attending a nearby workshop. The hotel is very welcoming - friendly front desk, bright, clean and fruit water available in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. I like that the toilet and shower are separate from the sink. Please note that in the king room the is a shower only - no tub. There is a stocked kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, dishes, soap, and coffee maker. The couch in the sitting area has a pullout bed. We found the hallways and the room to be in good repair. It was a quite night's sleep. There is a buffet breakfast included with a selection of pastries, juices, cereal, eggs, sausage, home fries and make-your-own waffles and pancakes. Great hotel and we will stay again when in the area. The only down side is the price. Orangeville is not a “destination” city and the location just doesn't seem to justify the price being well above $200 per night. They simply have the advantage because there are no other hotels nearby (only shabby motels) and even the B&Bs aren't comparable to other areas.

Very happy with our stay. Found everything to our liking and the highlight would be the pool and hot tub, the pool was nice and warm. Our suite was a great size for our family. Breakfast was tasty with options for anyone.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. We were at a conference for The Blue Spruce Club and loved the location. We stayed for breakfast each morning. The people helping us were very friendly. One Wish was for better quality tea and coffee at breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was roomy and clean. The building was in a great location with a restaurant right beside it . we used the pool and hot tub that was at a relaxing temperature. Over all it was a great stay.

Loved our experience at this hotel. Breakfast was til 9:30 on Saturday morning, the food stayed out even longer (which was nice). Another hotel we stayed at in Timmins told us breakfast was served til 10:00 am yet at 9:20 the food was being put away and once things ran out, that was it. Very impressed, nice to have coffee, water at hand in lobby. Staff was very pleasant, professional. It was a little expensive but then again it is in Toronto so expected :)

I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a family wedding the Rooms were large and very clean Hotel staff greeted us warmly upon our arrival and were not phased even though there were a large number of us arriving at once My only negitive was the lift which was exceptionally slow

This is a great clean hotel to stay at. It is an easy access location close to everything. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with lots of options. Everything we had was good. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is only 13 years old.The only issue we had, were the mattresses need to be changed. The sagged quite bit in the middle. The fridge was not set too cold . I pulled the fridge out and was able to adjust the temperature with the switch at the top corner on the back of the fridge.

My air conditioning was not working and the were workrrs outside work all night and the hotel was really empty and yhe put us on the side of the worker so no sleep and for 200 a night thats really bad

The room I stayed in was so amazing, great tub, air condition was awesome. The kitchenette was great. Room came with plates and cutlery. The breakfast in the morning was so good. Having the Boston Pizza in the parking lot was super convenient for a late night beer.

Stayed many times here in upgraded hot tub rooms! After check in told patio door on ground floor are all broken out of commion I use these rooms cause I have a disibility and can smoke outside there! Secondly main auto doors were broken toilet in room ran all night howling the whole time. And check in was done after two visits waiting in line ups both times. Not impressed at all to say the least, spa is not offered anymore seems the money has stopped and repairs are not being done!

Best hotel experience I have had all year! Pleasantly surprised by the in-room Jacuzzi and the great breakfast choices -including my favourite poached eggs - done perfectly! Front desk staff person was very welcoming and informative.

The building is reasonably impressive as you approach. The lobby is large and inviting. The check-in was smooth and staff friendly. The hotel has only one elevator, which is shared by staff. What happens if it ever breaks down? The room was clean and comfortable, but could use better lighting. It would help if it were reversed, with the sitting area by the window and the bedroom by the inside wall. The sink stopper would not plug the washbasin. I didn't report that, but I did report that the door would not close automatically, but had to be pulled shut, a security concern. Despite three reports, the door was not fixed. The hotel is located on the edge of Orangeville, a gorgeous little city of 35,000, on Hwy #9. Downside is that it is a on a bit of a steep hill, making walking a little more of a challenge - cabs are almost impossible to get. Also, the Hwy goes up a steep hill, with many large transport trucks labouring up the hill. Get an even numbered room to face away from the Hwy for quiet. However, those rooms face out over the roof of the ballroom and the AC units. My biggest complaint was about the three patio areas. They were all hot, desolate spaces facing the noisy hwy, with no planters or umbrellas to break the noise or heat. All-in-all $230 seemed a steep price for what it was. Haven't stayed anywhere else in Orangeville, but there is a HoJo for about $100 and several local motels for less than that. Orangeville was a treat - very friendly people, several good eating places, beautifully kept downtown. Travel tip - if you are travelling east from Orangeville, check out the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg, just an easy 1 hr drive away.

We had a lovely time in Orangeville, a quaint town of 26,000 people. A beautiful downtown strip with numerous thrift stores and other lovely shops. We enjoyed walking around. Also, a beautiful garden centre on the edge of town. The staff at the hotel were very friendly

Spotless hotel and room. Nice touches such as water with lemon in the lobby. Friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing staff. Very good breakfast and nice pool/jacuzzi/fitness centre areas. I was't expecting a marketing tax but that's getting more common. Many wonderful shops, nail salons and restaurants to check out (Rustik Bistro and Forage Restaurant, Booklore independent book store, Dragonfly Arts, Shoe Cat Shoo Boutique, Mochaberry coffee shop and much more).

We stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a wedding. The hotel and our room were immaculately clean. King bed , linens, pillows were all very comfy. The complimentary self-serve breakfast was good and everything was hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous, checkout was a breeze.I was in a wheelchair due to a broken foot. The room was very easy to access and the shower was wheelchair friendly.

As a business traveller I have stayed in many hotels over the past 40 years. The Best Western Orangeville is extremely well run, quiet and comfortable. Their king size beds are wonderful. Always sleep well. Their staff are professional and courteous. Our company ha e held several corporate events at this hotel. They always exceed our expectations. Close to many restaurants.

Issues encountered: -fridge in room froze our food -breakfast overall was 5/10 at best - coffee was brutally bland, potatoes were taters in a box and warmed, tons of plastic everywhere. -told late checkout wasn't possible by one gal, and possible by another. Upside was the manager on staff the next morning was attentive to my request to remove the marketing fee (automatically applied but optional). She complied easily as I've met others in the past that weren't willing to adhere to policies. To be clear, you are NOT required to pay this Marketing Fee, with the exception of specific centers (Toronto just implemented a 4% fee). I was pleased that this manager recognized this and removed the charge promptly.

Location ideal for what we wanted it for. Huge breakfast area with a variety of breakfast foods to choose from. It looks as though zoom of the rooms could use some upkeep in the furniture. The one opening door to the exit was not working so a maintenance issue for that problem

Overall a great stay. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was hot and fresh. You could make your own waffles and pancakes on the spot which was an unexpected bonus. The reason this place gets a 3 star rating is that I paid a premium for a room with a fireplace and got an electric heater with a photo of a flame. That is NOT a fireplace and there is nothing in the room description that reflects this. Had I known, I would have just booked a regular suite.

Good Hotel. A bit pricey for the area. Rooms are small even for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast is very good as well as the coffee. Close to many great Restaurants. The pool and Hot Tub are perfect. Even though we did not use the Gym it looked good.

We stayed at this hotel on March 12, 2019. The front desk staff were very good but we had significant challenges with the cleanliness of the room. The first room we were given had a thick smell of cigarette smoke (which usually does not bother me - but the smell was substantial). The second room seemed fine, but my daughter found a towel with quite a lot of blood on it hanging in the shower. When we advised the staff, we were given a new towel. I had to remove the towel myself. This can never be okay - but in a hotel that costs upward of $200 for a regular room, it is completely indefensible.

Great reception at front desk, lady was somewhat expecting us as we had called to ensure space was available. Well appointed room, very comfortable bed. A bit pricey when you are there for only 6 hours - this was a stopping spot on our way home from a southern destination.

Excellent location in Orangeville allowing easy and close access to arenas etc. Rooms and hallways are inviting and well kept. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. A Boston Pizza is within walking distance. Other eating places close by! I will definitely return.

I booked this stay of the Best Western for the Friday night. This was a stop over on our way to Collingwood to go skiing on the weekend. Since the weather was going to be bad on Sat Jan 19th and traveling from the Niagara Region I decided to use my point for this night stay. This place is was wonderful. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for a night last March (2018). The rooms are very nice, comfy beds and great amenities. The staff at desk were very friendly. The next morning my daughter freaked out when she noticed on the underside of her pillow that she slept on, there was old blood clot like substance. We went down to the front desk and showed them a picture of it. They were very apologetic about the situation and handled it to our satisfaction. I hope they did something about the maid who "cleaned" that room. Great pool and hot tub etc.

Our company Christmas party was at this location, so we decided to treat ourselves to an overnight stay. Overall a nice getaway, good food and a comfortable room. Staff was outstanding, meeting all of our needs promptly and with a smile.

We had a double queen suite and the rooms are large and spacious, with a pullout out sofa, chairs, mini kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and dishes. We loved our suite. Having fulfilled a "bucket list" item and staying at a Ritz hotel in March, this room was much larger than one which I paid a lot more money for :) Breakfast was ok, typical hotel fare with eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, Recommendation would be to mark that the fruit cocktail is in "water" so that people who don't like this won't waste and take it. This is the first time I have seen a "pancake" maker and they also have a waffle maker; if my teenagers were with me, they would have had fun making this.

I just wanted to take the time to express how much I enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Best Western Plus in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. It was the first time I had been at a Best Western for many, many years and if this location is any indication as to what the other Best Western's are like, then you have my business!!! This was my first time traveling in Canada by myself and when I finally arrived, I was promptly greeted (by Jeanette – new employee in training) and offered a hot beverage (as it was cold out). The next morning, I went to breakfast and was thrilled to see that there was actual plates and silverware to use rather than plasticware and disposable plates. The food was all labeled as to what it was (something that I love to see) and displayed very nicely. I was greeted by Tirza and she chatted with me a bit about the area. Upon my return that evening, I could tell Santa's little Elves had been busy as the place was starting to look like Christmas; and, again I was greeted by Tirza, Lavi, and Nancy. I had to ask them how old the hotel was as I had just told my husband about it the night before and expressed how nice it was…so it had to be less than 3 years old. I was shocked to hear that it was 12 years old!!! My room was immaculate and maintained. I love that there was not only a refrigerator and microwave in the room (very standard) but, that there were (again) actual dishes and silverware in the room, along with a hand towel and soap. My last night there, I was a bit nervous as it was forecasted to have 4-5 inches of snow and I had a 7:45 a.m. flight from Toronto. The ladies up front (Lavi & Nancy) let me know what I should do for the car (prop the windshield wipers up) and let me know the best route for getting to the airport. As I was leaving that Friday morning (before breakfast was served), I was greeted with a brown bag of water, a granola bar and an apple (and offered coffee or hot chocolate)….just what I needed, so I didn't have to stop on the way to the airport. A bit about myself…I teach business classes at a local university, while also owning my own business in designing and developing online training; because of these things, I see and hear so much about poor customer service, but you should be proud of your team in Orangeville!!! They were friendly, helpful, and they were definitely a bright spot during my travels!

I'll start off by reviewing the negative. This first and most important for us was an early check in. We were in a wedding and they could not guarantee an early check in even though we tried asking atleast a week in advance. This was quite stressful for the groom as he and the rest of the wedding party had rooms here. We did end up getting an early check in but had to show up early in hopes of getting a room. If they said no we would habe had to get ready in the hotel main bathroom without showering. And our fiances would have had to do the same in the women's bathroom. The lady at the front desk did not want to give us rooms. However there was a gentleman working who interjected and said they had some rooms for us. We arrived at the wedding with the groom with 2 minutes to spare before the ceremony... the other downside is the price and having to book a two night minimum stay. That's absolutely ridiculous. Luckily we were able to negotiate a one night stay. But for anyone who does not want to negotiate it would be a huge turn off. The great things were the room was quite comfortable. The were very clean, up to date and spacious. A personal preference is more of a selection of pillows. The pillows were larger which I find not as comfortable for sleeping on my back. There was a pancake and a waffle machine at breakfast but they were empty so we were unable to try them

Staff excellent, breakfast was great - lots of items to choose from pancakes, waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, apple turnovers, yogurt, coffee, teas, several juices, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, oatmeal and several toppings and variety of cold cereals. Room very clean, price good, location central to everything!!

This has been the best unexpected positive experience and my first visit to a Best Western. I commend the staff and especially Naith, the general manager, for making me feels so welcome in addition to keeping the facility clean updated and a gorgeously comforting environment both inside and outside my room. A special delightful surprise was the warm hearty breakfast, heated pool and jacuzzi along with the 24 hour hot coffee/tea bar. Thank you all and Best Western.

Easy to find, restaurants nearby as well as hiking and other outdoor activities. Great service and very comfortable bed and pillows. Probably one of the best sleeps I've had in years. Saltwater pool is a great touch.

Our stay at Best Western Orangeville was really great! it is so convient to everything, we were there for a work function. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable. They helped us with an early check in because we arrived very early. Room as great, a little hair in the shower but I cant fault them because they worked to get us into the room quickly.

Modern and new Great place. Best place to stay in orangeville for sure. Highest end we have at this point. All the amenities such as spa, banquet facilities etc. Boston pizza next door for food. Free parking. Right in orangeville. Prices are average. Customer service is good. Only choice to stay in orangeillve in my mind

I stayed for two nights, the room was clean but small and average looking as was the rest of my stay. The pool smelt heavily of chlorine like the chemicals were off, the breakfast was super disappointing. The eggs were hard and the home fries were soggy, I would suggest the waffles they were good, as was the coffee. I was at the hotel for a wedding and we had a group discount. By the end of the 2 night stay it was 500 dollars for just me. It blew my mind. Everything about this hotel was average I don't believe it's worth the price paid. So overall nothing terribly wrong, you would have just expected everything to be nicer if your paying over 200 dollars a night for an average room.

Decent warm breakfast included (waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) Good coffee & juice Room decor was nice. Boston Pizza right next door for quick meal. Lobby is nice. Very quiet hotel. It's in a location that close to the downtown by drive. A bit of a hike to walk. Easy to get on and off the highway there.

This location 'sits' on a busy highway although advertised as quiet. Contacted front desk prior to check-in requesting room facing the parking lot and a room with a bath tub; for medical reasons. When I arrived the room allocated was on the highway side and had only a shower. When I asked to be moved to a room meeting my requests (which had been made when booking the room), I was advised that although many guests had not checked in - it was impossible to change the room

Hair in the sink and bedding, water droplets on the glasses of the kitchenette, kind of glue on the sheets, I was expecting a lot better for the bucks. Otherwise, friendly staff, decent hot breakfast, cleanliness of the common areas is good.

Booked a suite for the 4 of us in advance. The price was a bit high for our budget, but in the end it was worth it. Spacious room, good kitchenette, excellent breakfast in a super breakfast room. We ended up not using the pool. Good access to town. We were happy that we chose this place to stay.

In an effort to enjoy our first time away in 5 years and my first opportunity to sleep in since my 14 month old was born, we let a lot go. Our visit began with a bucket inside the front door to catch the drips from the leaky ceiling. There's been a lot of rain lately, no big deal. They allowed us to check-in early because the room was ready, I beg to differ. We laughed off the cobwebs, the rattley old fan, the leaky tap and disgusting looking drain in the jacuzzi, the giant spider on the wall, a broken patio door we were told was “European” (pretty sure European doors are supposed to lock and have handles too), broken up concrete all around the patio doors, a well-established, fully inhabited hornet's nest attached to the outside of the patio door and a missing patio chair we found around the corner of the building with a bunch of empty cans. When I pulled down the comforter and bed sheet and found a bug in the bed, we were done. We were offered another room, but found more “European” doors(not as broken, these ones actually both had handles) and yellow stains all over the pillows and bed sheets (that we were told was just the lighting... funny that wasn't an issue in the other room with the same lighting). At this point, the 2 1/2 hour drive until after midnight to wake up with our children at 6am seemed like a really good idea. We were not charged for our 10 hour stay, however we were given nothing but excuses for every complaint. We were also blamed for the loss of 100's of dollars revenue for 2 rooms until they were cleaned again. In my opinion, if the rooms were cleaned properly in the first place and some care was put into the building, they could've kept our 100's of dollars and might have actually had occupants in the other room (apparently other people did a better job researching hotels). It is a shame because the building has a lot of potential. We went hiking in the Clifftop Side Trails in the pouring rain to see crevices and I felt our health and safety was more at risk at this hotel! I highly recommend staying ANYWHERE else.

This hotel was beyond expectations. They conserve electricity as the lights in the hallways had motion sensors and turned on only when needed. (opening room door, exiting elevator, etc.) Wish all hotels did this. We choose to stay here as my husband works in town and commutes an hour each way daily. This gave our family a mini vacation as he didn't have to commute to work for 2 days and the kids and I got to hang out at the pool. Requested a room close to pool. While this didn't happen as the pool is in the basement and the Lobby is on the 2nd floor, our room was located right by the elevator. Most people wouldn't choose this as they would think it was noisy, but this was NOT the case. Our room was very quiet. Could not hear the elevator at all nor was their much noise from other travellers as they made their way up and down the hall. The ice machine was conveniently located next to the elevator. Again, no noise that interfered with the enjoyment of our room. The unique layout of the room felt more like having a mini apartment rather than your typical hotel room. The kitchenette was well equipped with a microwave, fridge and a sink with counter space. Dish soap, towels and dishes were also provided. Nice way for travellers to save money as you don't need to eat out for every meal. One suggestion would be to include a can opener in the offerings of utensils (had a bottle opener/cork screw). The pool area was nicely laid out with plenty of chairs, tables and loungers. The pool towels were large and fluffy (unlike the usual scrap of material provided). The pool is salt water and has a nice stair step entry point. Temperature was enjoyable and easy to jump right in. The breakfast buffet was decent, offering both hot and cold items. Eggs were scrambled one morning and poached the next. Sausage links on first day became ham on the 2nd day. Both day the fruit offerings were the same: apples and canned fruit cocktail. Would have liked to see an orange or banana. Overall: Can't wait to book another staycation here in the future.

I enjoyed my brief stay here. I loved the location for you could walk from the hotel through town. There is a restaurant next store if you want to eat close. The hotel is clean and well lite for safety. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Everything worked perfectly. The desk staff was fantastic when I needed anything.

Hotel presents as clean and tidy enough however having been quoted a rate of $229 for Friday one night stay in Orangeville, I believe this is somewhat high for seniors travelling on a budget. We drove on to Barrie and got a room for $100 less.

The atmosphere and staff are sooo friendly. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend staying here if you're in the Orangeville area. We've stayed here previously and the service is beyond expectations.

Very clean , perfect location to the rest of town and parks. Staff was extremely accommodating with times of arrival and departures. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and relaxing. We were very pleased with Best Western Orangeville. Early check-in was arranged for arrival. Rooms were super clean. Front desk very efficient. No complaints. There were a couple of late night party folks making noise and front desk handled very efficiently. Breakfast was good for a quick breakfast. Very Clean ..recommend on problem. Very convenient to a lovely town.

Spent two nights for business and was treated deplorably by the young woman at the front desk at check in. She rolled her eyes at me numerous times in a very obvious manner. An individual in my party standing across the lobby said she could see her body language and rolling eyes from a distance. It was utterly humiliating to have colleagues notice this. From an individual who has an extensive background in customer service and Human Resources this behaviour is inexcusable. Definitely performance coaching is required and a review of proper customer service etiquette. Despite poor first impressions other hotel staff were helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. I will say, I was left with a foul taste in my mouth after a poor first impression.

Spent a Saturday night for a family wedding , back to Hamilton the next day and realized I had left a silver men's bracelet on the ac unit , room was unoccupied when I called and they did accommodate by sending someone up . But bracelet was gone ! Very nice ! Rated a poor review

My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. The reception was extremely friendly and we ended up getting an upgrade to a jr suite. The bed was insanely comfortable and I am picky when it comes to beds! We wish we could've spent more time there to enjoy the room. It was lovely and clean. The bathroom was great with heated floors and a steam shower.

First time there,nice property and large rooms. Miss having a restaurant and bar at hotels. Get away night. The morning breakfast room is large and noticed a lot of leftover food on plates. Helped ourselves to the breakfast buffet,started to enjoy our meal and noticed that all the food cool to room temperature not enjoyable thus all the left over. Checked and the burners where on warming up the food but can't keep up or food put in cold to start. This has to be addressed . Below standards at this property. Will stay again when in the area.

For Christmas, my employer had a draw set up for Staff. My draw was a free night at Best Western Plus Orangeville. This hotel is Excellent. Room & Breakfast was perfect. Pool/spa/gym was large perfect, clean, & bright.

This is a great hotel! It is new and very clean and quiet. It has the best shower head and lots of hot water early in the morning and later in the morning! The shower head is up high enough for tall people. We asked for extra towels and they were promptly delivered to our room in less than 30 minutes even though I told them no rush. There are lots of lighting for reading in bed, at a desk or on the couch in the 2 queen bed room. Plenty of closet space. Nice little kitchenette - microwave, small refrigerator and sink. Comfortable bed with 6 pillows on each bed! We love lots of pillows and this was a dream come true as it has been in our experience other hotels never have enough pillows and can't find extras. Large screen tv is in a swivel so you can watch in bed or sitting on the couch. Continental breakfast is typical of medium price chains, lots of options, & a waffle maker. Breakfast area very clean! Pot lights over entrance doors and nice energy saving the hallway lights are on motion detectors! Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Boston Pizza is right beside the parking lot - very convenient.

Phone should be beside the bed. Toilet had load strange noise. Bulb over vanity was not working. Vanity not suitable for an average size person. Blanket was to heavy. The price at $309.00 plus tax was way to expensive. .

Everything was fine except no Fox News channel. Was told at the desk when checking out that “Fox News “ is a American station. Although CNN was available and a local Fox affiliate. Hmmm I think the owners don't like Fox

Exceptional service, comfortable in a good location. This hotel was a bit pricey but worth it if you want a quality place to stay. Great breakfast and salt water pool. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, stayed in a junior suite, that has a separate sleeping and sitting area, with many amineties. Superb breakfast in the morning with eggs, waffles, bacon, sausages and many other items. Well worth the expense. It has a swimming pool but I never got the chance to use it, maybe next time .Check in and out was fast and the staff were extremely pleasant. There is a Boston Pizza next door, part of the property, the only problem is that it closes early

I tried to reserve ten rooms for wedding guests for August. I was told the policy is you have to book a minimum of two nights! Because of this ridiculous policy it would put the cost of each room over $500!More than most hotels in the GTA!!! Keep in mind this is the only hotel of its kind in the area.It is not even a resort town. Each hotel is privately owned so I assume price gouging is in effect here!!! I reported this terrible business practice to BW head office. They said they were disturbed but there was nothing they could do. Not very good support for the brand! After discussing this issue with several people on social networks, many shared similar stories about this particular facility. I would encourage future guests to Orangeville to seek other options for a visit such as smaller motels, bed and breakfasts and air Bnb until the hotel decides not to take advantage of people.

Spent 3 nights March 27-30 and had issues every one of them. First, the hotel is nice from the outside and the breakfast had a great selection. When we arrived there was no sheets for the pull out coach and the main sheets were dirty. This was corrected that night. The 2nd night we returned back to the hotel at 5 pm and the room was not cleaned. We called and had to leave the room to have it cleaned. The 3rd night we returned back to the room at 6:45 pm the room was again not cleaned. The nice lady at the counter said sorry but not much more. When we checked out I was not asked how our stay was but was handed my bill. Very disappointing. I emailed the GM my concerns but haveyet to hear a response.

Great hotel, very clean, new building with large room with good space for microwave & sink area. Shower/toilet area separate from bathroom sink, so therefore more than one teenager could get ready in the morning. Friendly, helpful staff, Nice pool area. Terrific hot breakfast and great staff to care for the breakfast.

I must be on a prank show because the customer service here is a serious joke. After speaking with their concierge multiple times about reservations for my wedding later this year, and being informed that no group bookings were allowed, I happily obliged and printed the booking details EXACTLY how I was instructed to on my invitations. Fast forward to reservation time, they've since implemented a 2-night stay policy during "wedding season" to capitalize on the demand - basically, screwing over the locals that bring them business in the first place. After explaining my situation and the unfavourable position this leaves me and my guests, expressing that this was never mentioned before, Lina (Director of Sales) said and I quote, "we probably didn't mention it before because it's a recent policy, but there's nothing we can do for you now". She had no desire to even try to do anything, despite my advertising their hotel to 300+ guests. After speaking with Corporate customer service, they confirmed that it is up to individual hotel whether to waive the policy and make good - but again, the Orangeville location has no interest to do so. The part I really don't get ... a 2-night minimum stay in ORANGEVILLE!? They're a Best Western in the suburbs and need a reality check.They're not located in a cosmopolitan city with major attractions and no one is going to want to come out a day early to check out the A&W in town just to satisfy their ridiculous policy. Their brand caters to people looking for a quick in-and-out stay and they should know that. If they try to implement this on you, take my advice and go 10 minutes down the road to Hockley Valley Resort. A far superior facility, with a golf course and amazing amenities - and guess what, they don't care if you want to stay a night or a week! Best Western Orangeville is just pure greed and no class. I'm sure my guests will be looking at alternative accommodations now, given the imposed ultimatum; I'm just disappointed that I recommended them at all.

Our family just stayed at the Best Western for two nights to finish out March Break. Tha kids had a blast at hotel and at the pool. We also had a very relaxing time away from home. All the staff were excellent, look after our needs and very friendly to is. Very family oriented and enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether travelling with family or going solo. I have stayed in many hotels due to my travels West every two weeks for years and this one is in my top 3 for the stay and the staff, great quality for the cost. And the breakfast was an excellent start to each day, I tip my hat to them for the excellent time our family had.

Clean. Updated. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Breakfast included with the room and it's very good. Shower is clean with strong water pressure. We checked the website and didn't know there is a pool...so a quick trip to Walmart so the kids can swim solved that problem! We had planned this as a ski trip but there is no snow...no matter. The town of Orangeville is fun as a family to kick around in. Make sure you visit Dragonfly and grab lunch at Pias

Nice hotel. The beds were amazing, I had the best sleep. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The children had a great time at the pool. Only glitch was check in. Told check in was 3pm when we arrived just after 2pm. Which is fine, but then 15 minutes later a friend texted saying they were checking in. Arrived back to find a line up of 10 families deep. The elevator is extremely slow, and they have only one. If you are in a rush, take the stairs.

Terrace doors ready to fall off hinges and glazing tape used to close off gaps only provided for a larger gap on hinge side of both doors, lockset broken on one door From a security point of view, this room, #129 was a ground level, corner unit - the first one a thief would would scope out!!!!!!

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last two years for hockey tournaments. We have enjoyed our stays and having breakfast at the hotel is great for the early starts. The pool and gym are a great addition.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast is good. There is a pool, hot tub and fitness centre. We were very satisfied with our stay, There is no in-house restaurant but the Boston Pizza is right next door - only seconds away, Parking lot is big and parking spaces are wide.

Woke up to no hot water and very rude front desk staff when bringing up the issue. Attendant made it seem like it was our issue for the no hot water. She was not sympathetic nor sensitive to the issue and offered nothing in way of compensation.

Pros Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Hot breakfast served early (6:00am) which is great when you need to start your day early. Restaurants and businesses near by Cons Found left over food in the fridge from previous guess.

We sent in the mail pictures and a letter 2 weeks ago no reply ??? I guess the BBB and the Orangeville paper, Health unit would love to hear what terrible accommodations you get for $207 per night !!!

We had a nice stay and the staff were excellent. The Hotel is just at the end of town, but very easy to get to and from when touring around Orangeville area. We had a function at the hotel and the food was excellent. Probably the best roast beef dinner i have ever had at a function.

An excellent hotel. Good staff, really nice, clean and comfortable rooms. If you are in this area stay at this hotel. We enjoyed it and look forward to coming back again and using the other amenities we did not have time to try out on this visit. Really good hotel!

The service at this hotel is its saving grace. Walked into the room, there were wires hanging from the tv and a box, the jacuzzi tub was dripping and the drain was very rusty and the patio door wasn't closed all the way and the handles were broken. Definitely didn't leave a good sense of security.

Our room had the best layout of any hotel room we have stayed in. A sitting area with couch, chair and desk divided the bedroom area. Made it easy for me to be up before my spouse and sit at the desk while he slept. Bed was so comfy, pillows too. Nice white sheets. Yummy breakfast, the coffee maker was the most awesome thing, so many choices! Enjoyed a latte and a milk hot chocolate. Nice and friendly staff member at the desk! Never been to a Best Western before but if they all are like the Orangeville one, we will continue to!

We were visiting Orangeville to attend a family wedding and stayed two nights at the Best Western Plus. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. A special mention for our wonderful"breakfast lady" Katarina and her amazing shortbread cookies. Thank you for the recipe Katarina :)

A hotel with rather a bleak and functional exterior and interior, set above a busy arterial road. The electrics in the room were distinctly odd - switches go up to turn on. The air con system was quite incomprehensible - it was either a fridge or a sauna, and very noisy. And the bath/shower area was separate from the sink/mirror area, which proved awkward, especially as it had nowhere to put anything. The kitchenette area had a very odd mismatch of glasses, cutlery etc. And breakfast - why is it that so much Canadian food is so unappealing to the British visitor? The porridge, though on a heater, was barely warm. The poached eggs - when there were any, as they kept running out - were luke-warm, and not of a nice consistency. The staff, however - especially on Reception - could not have been more friendly and welcoming.

We were in Orangeville to organize the funeral of my wife's mother. We were given a special rate and the front desk staff gave there condolences to my wife, which they didn't have to do. The breakfasts on the 2 days we stayed were probably the best we have had in any hotel we have stayed in, Canada or USA. Overall it was an excellent stay for us during a very stressful time.

Like really? Book conferences in larger towns so travelers have a place to stay. Hotel is nicest in town that is not a resort and any other decent hotels are over 25 minutes or more away. We booked 2 nights but they only booked us one so we had to move so we were not satisfied at all.

Never answer their phones. Different answers every time. Extremely unpleasant staff. Blood stain on pillow went undealy with. HVAC had a mind of it's own. Staff was very unhelpful when we asked questions. We were here for a wedding and the entire experience was unpleasant. This hotel is extremely overpriced for what they have to offer.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast items and the coffee was delicious. Would stay here again.

We only stayed one night but hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not stay for breakfast so I can't rate it. Nor did we use any of the amenities. Plenty of parking. But no complaints otherwise.

I needed to stay in Orangeville to pick up my daughter for her surgery the next morning. It was a bit more than I could usually afford, but it was one of the few places with rooms left that night. However, the BW Plus there provided the "me time" I needed. Friendly staff (checking in - she answered all my questions & made me feel at home; same with check-out and breakfast staff). Internet and TV worked just fine - got to see NLDS playoff game, and do some reading & work online. Nicely laid-out breakfast in a spacious breakfast area with two TVs. Most everyone at breakfast must have "felt the love" - many upbeat guests. My room was on the street side of the hotel, so road noise was probably more than on the other side of the hall.

This is a very nicely kept hotel with spacious suites. Ours had a very comfortable king bed with separate kitchenette/sitting area. In room free internet was very fast and stable. A well supplied continental breakfast is included as well as all day coffee/tea service. We did not use the very nice looking salt water pool area and fitness room. Easy access to Highway 10 and next to a Boston Pizza Restaurant.

Stayed for a wedding I was attending close by. Staff were friendly and room was well proportioned. Beds were comfy and shower was powerful. Bar/ pizza house nextdoor was a bonus as there was no bar in the hotel.

They had exact room to fit my family.... The pool was amazing, and everyone was so friendly. Can't wait to stay again. Breakfast was readily available, and dinner was right next-door it was perfect! Thanks!!

Beautiful full service suites in modern, upscale hotel. Friendly staff and great hot breakfast with plenty of seating. Conveniently located Boston Pizza literally within steps of hotel door; no need to drive.

Very clean and staff very cordial and a very good value and quality - breakfast was ok but you do not get a feel as if you are in a restaurant - it feels like a mobile cafeteria there to serve breakfast, basic elements.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was fantastic. From check in to check out we were looked after by all the staff especially Nick and Lavi at reception who made life so easy as we waited for lost luggage to come from the airport, making sure we had emergency supplies. Rooms were comfortable and clean which offered a great night sleep and the ladies in the breakfast area were more than helpful. Although there is no bar and restaurant Boston Pizza is right next door and offers great food and drink. Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel with its amazing staff to anyone basing themselves in Orangeville. Emmet Ronan, Ireland

A surprise from a limited number of hotels in Orangeville. Staff is very helpful, room is beautiful. The only thing is that there should be more options for breakfast considering the price I paid for a night.

Had the opportunity to stay at BW Orangeville and was very happy with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the guest rooms were clean and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that offered many different options to choose from.

My stay here was great. There is just enough room to park a trailer if needed in the parking lot. The entrance into the hotel and lobby is spectacular! Very open, nice large breakfast sitting areas. BP right next door. My room was a King suite and was awesome to say the least! Small kitchenette was out of the way, huge shower area, bed was also secluded from the ensuite area. Overall a great stay.

Check in was easy with my reservation ready. Asked for a quite room and was changed to a rear facing room with no questions asked. I did not use any of the facilities other than the breakfast which was good. Nice selection of breads and pastries along with the hot portion.My trip was business and only stayed one night. the restaurant adjacent was Boston Pizza with the appropriate menu selections.

We stayed for one night - everything was excellent from checkin to checkout. Rooms were very clean, beds super comfortable, breakfast had real eggs, pool area was nice and our kids loved the homemade shortbread that is baked at the hotel and available to guests in the lobby. Super convenient location for downtown Orangeville or sports arenas. I

The room and amenities were quite nice. Breakfast was quite above the normal "continental" breakfast. Seem to be taking advantage of events in the area, not Toronto but has Toronto prices. (High) Came back to made up room and they had made the bed with a pillow tucked "neatly" between the sheets down by Our feet??

It's updated, the lobby is beautiful, there's a hot breakfast, the rooms all have little kitchenettes. I stayed here the night before my wedding and the staff were all very helpful, kind, and polite. I would definitely stay here again.

The beds are super comfy and lovely duvets. Lots of pillows. Breakfast was included which is nice to have. Sausage, poached eggs, hashed browns, along with the usual waffles, oatmeal....etc. Lovely bright breakfast area. Water pressure was a little low at times. If in Orangeville again, would definitely book. Great Hotel for large wedding groups that were coming from out of town.

Garbage overflowing , no one changed in 2 days . Not impressed . This I would expect of a motel , but not a newer best western hotel ! We also had to ask for more towels as they took away on the first day and didnt replace . I was a bit dissapointed overall.

We have stayed at this hotel as our daughter competes in the yearly Trillium Horse Competition held nearby. We do a fair amount of travelling and cleanliness of a hotel is very important to us. This hotel and their rooms are very clean and we would highly recommend booking this hotel to anyone staying in this area.

This hotel is one of the nicest of it's kind that I have ever stayed in. It's modern, clean, and has great amenities. They serve a lovely full breakfast with a choice of eggs, waffles, hot and cold cereal, fruit, yoghurt, etc. the dining area is spacious and light. The rooms are generously sized, and the beds are DIVINE!! Nice and soft, but with excellent support. Like sleeping on a cloud... there is a full service spa on the lower level, as well as a pool and a gym room. All of the staff members we encountered couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. It was all perfect except for one thing... the traffic noise on the road side was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even with earplugs! The windows really should have been triple glazed on that side. I would recommend asking for a room on the front entry side of the hotel.

Beautifully maintained hotel in perfect location. Close to the historic main street of downtown Orangeville. Losts of ameties inside the hotel as well as nearby. Staff is great. Although there is a good chain restaurant in the parking lot, my favorite MUST GO TO restaurant I go to every time is FORAGE. Hotel staff and management are great and very responsive to customer needs.

The hotel is very nice with an open concept foyer. The suite was large, clean and well furnished. The heating/cooling system changed the room temperature quickly and quietly. The 50 yards to the Boston Pizza was very convenient. It has a nice bar with excellent draft beer. The one downside was the room's location. I was happy at first to see it was down the hall, far from the elevator. Unfortunately the 3rd floor window overlooked a 6 lane highway which the transport trucks sped past beginning around 430 am. Really nice hotel, ask for room not facing the highway.

Pool area was very clean and we enjoyed it. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. For what we paid, it s good deal compared to some other places. I recommended this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to spend a night or some days.

I am really satisfied with my recent stay. Best Western has changed their brand for the better. It had all of the quality of a high end hotel. I will certainly consider Best Western next time traveling.

It was a pleasant stay at a reasonable price. The rooms are very nice and quiet. There is a Boston Pizza in the parking lot if you get hungry. The staff was helpful. I forgot my razor and deodorant. They happily gave me both at no charge.

We were attending our daughter's wedding at Hockley Valley Resort at four pm. I called the Best Western and asked if they could perhaps let us check in one hour early in order to get dressed for the wedding. Kathleen advised me that she would not know what rooms would be ready until 1:30 on the day of the wedding and I should call back then. We were traveling from Ajax and could not leave arrangements until that late, not knowing where we could go. I found Kathleen to be unsympathetic and unaccommodating.

Requires some repairs and maintenance such as wallpaper coming off, computer chair no adjustment setting working, bed sheets with black markings, and look like mildew in shower corners. Breakfast cold. Staff at reception wonderful. Comfortable bed and slept well. Disappointed with hotel as I had much better experience in other BW.

Great amenities, very clean, helpful staff, nice breakfast! Could use a second (or faster) elevator. However be sure of your reservations as members of our wedding group arrived at 2am and their guaranteed room had been given away. This was most unfortunate unprofessional.

Trip Advisor was over rated on this hotel It is not being properly updated with floors walls etc in hallways rooms are Ok? An overall painting carpet cleaning or replacement is required. Have one of the exec stay here incognito and see if the thinks it seserves top hotel in Orangeville. The get this report reduced in size it is redundant in many places report takes too long and is redundant

The hotel has a nice look and feel. However, the term "suite" is perhaps generously applied when all beds and the room sink are all in a common area. The staff was mostly helpful and the breakfast was good.

The hotel was very clean, located in a great area and nicely appointed. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful both at check in and check out. As we attended a wedding, we spent very little time in the room, and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were attending a horse show at the Caledon Equestrian Center and stayed here for two nights - rooms were very large and came with two beds and a sofa bed - mattress was really comfy! Shower head in tub was terrific - did not want to get out! I never enjoy the free breakfasts included at a hotel - but this was pretty good! Coffee was good too! Check In desk people were very nice to deal with - I cannot think of anything to complain about!

About the only good spot to stay with Boston Pizza right there so no driving, a decent breakfast and amenities on site i.e. pool exercise room and spa. A little noisy on the Hwy side early in the morning

Great Hotel ! A bit expensive but worth it! The rooms were very nice and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The hotel appearance was very clean and modern . The suite was spacey and had a small kitchenette -handy!

I would not recommend this hotel... for what you pay you get nothing special. The room we got was a handicapped room so it was not very convenient. The lighting was terrible, there was no comfortable chair to sit on and worse of all it was dirty. The mirror had not been cleaned for a long time and the garbage had not been emptied. Breakfast was good. I did complain to the front desk and got a $20 reduction on my total, but I still feel that $180. is way too much for a simple motel room. Sadly there is not other option if you have to stay in Orangeville- perhaps a B&B?

I was in for work and I have to stay it really was the best experience. The staff was so friendly and the GM, Carolyn made sure she was greeting the guests in the morning and asking how everything was. She was very genuine. Makes being away from home a whole lot easier. Thank you

Stayed here as part of a Wedding Group. Thought at first that it sounded pricey but the Breakfast that was included and the fact that we didn't have to taxi back to a different hotel location was worth every penny. The rooms all have kitchen areas as well, so fridge, microwave and dishes were included although we didn't need to use them. Internet and TV were included too with free parking. And Quiet!! Rooms were well insulated - which isn't always the case these days.

The suites at this hotel were beyond my expectations. There is a separate living room, which includes a small kitchenette. The ambiance was warm, as the room also included a fireplace. My first thought upon entering the hotel, was how spacious and clean everything appeared. Through the entire stay, nothing occurred which disappointed my original thought. The breakfast area was big, wide and bright with many windows. Even though I travelled on my own, I felt right at home, safe and secure. Please check it out for yourself if you have the chance. I felt like I stayed at a luxurious spa, rather than a hotel.

We stayed for the weekend for an impromptu getaway, not knowing much about the area. It is a great weekend destination with many different activities to suit all types of people. The Hotel is beautiful and staff were pleasant and accommodating. We loved the pool and hot tub!

This past weekend my golf group stayed three nights at this hotel. We found it a great place to stay. The location was convenient to restaurants and golf courses. The rooms were large with sitting areas to chat with our group. The rooms were large and the beds and pillows were comfy. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience.

Was horse showing on the weekend. Had the hotel booked for us a few weeks back when asked about showing. Was able to get a room and had a good experience throughout. The laundry area had new machines since last year so make sure you have quarters. They did a good job on my show clothing. Nice and quick too. Might suggest putting a change machine down there and possibly some washing soap to purchase. But other than that all was great.

I stayed on April 18th for one night on a business trip. My interaction with the hotel personnel was minimum, but people were very friendly. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice and big enough, mine even had a microwave oven. I did like the fact that the WiFi was very reliable and fast. Even thought my room faced the highway it was not noisy and did not prevent me from sleeping well. I do have to admit that I found the bed to be a little stiff to my liking, but again, I did sleep very well. There is a Boston Pizza just across the parking lot which was very convenient since I was too tired to go to far. In the morning they had a continental breakfast which had a very reasonable choice of food to get your day started,

We stayed one night at this hotel while attending a wedding nearby. This was the only hotel in the town that had good reviews. I found the hotel to be significantly overpriced for the location - it was priced at what I would have paid for a hotel in Toronto with none of the ambience or nearby amenities. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable but lighting in the area with the couch and desk could be improved since there is only one relatively narrow window for natural light. Water pressure was good. Breakfast buffet was average. Customer service at the front desk was unsatisfactory. We arrived at 2:00 hoping to get an early check in so we could change for the wedding. Rather than simply being told that our room was not yet ready, we were told that "if we had read our confirmation, check in is at 3:00". Fortunately, ten minutes later, our room was ready - surely it would have been better to tell us that we should have access to our room after a brief wait instead of leaving us with the expectation that we would need to change in the restrooms or in the pool change area. When checking out, we told the front desk our television, which we had tried to use that morning, was not working - it turned on but you could not change channels using the remote or the buttons on the side of the tv. It was suggested by the second person at the desk, who overheard my comment, that usually when this happens it is because people do not know how to use the remote!!! Friends staying at the hotel were equally disappointed - their room had used towels (and fresh ones) hanging in the bathroom when they checked in late at night after the wedding. Clearly this hotel does not care about repeat visitation and counts on the fact that it is the only "good" hotel in Orangeville.

Great hotel! A little more expensive than others in the area. But by far one of the nicest. Stayed at the hotel for a friend's wedding. Rooms have everything you need and the continental breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here one night. The staff were friendly, checking was easy and fast. The room was very clean and well appointed. I would suggest you ask for a room on the opposite side of the highway that runs through Orangeville. We did notice a lot of road noise, not a huge deal but if possible ask for a room on the other side. Breakfast was ok, not at the level you would get at a Hampton Inn but good enough to get you going in the morning. I would not hestitate to stay here again.

This is an exceptionally clean and well-kept Hotel that truly puts the needs of their guests first. Lovely rooms, top-notch service and delicious breakfast. We were in town for a funeral and would certainly visit this particular Best Western again.

I was in Orangeville yesterday for the birth of my niece (all day exhausting event). I live 2 hours away. I arrived at this hotel at 12:30 am (very very late night) and I was exhausted. I just needed to sleep for a few hours then check out and be back to the hospital. Unfortunately this hotel has a minimum 2 night stay requirement for weekends. This seems absurd to apply this to someone who has arrived after midnight (effectively Sunday morning) with the room being open. I ended up having to drive to another city and did not get to sleep for another 2 hours, then had to drive back to Orangeville in the morning. I think the hotel should seriously reconsider its policy. I will not be staying at this chain ever again.

First time here. Room nice and clean, well laid out. Liked the mini kitchenette. Breakfast was great but only runs til 10 am. Like the fast that there is a sink outside the washroom - just that little added thought for families that need to get ready in the same space.

Very nice hotel - good value for the money. Very close to the local conservation area which is great for walking or running. Close to the core of the city and other local amenities. Staff were excellent and rooms clean and well maintained.

Awesome experience, room was great - indoor gas fireplace, whirlpool tub, indoor pool - excellent experience. Convenient location to Orangeville and other areas. Spa services available. Staff was extrememly friendly and helpful.

Clean, Comfortable and Luxurious room. It had plenty of space to get ready and lounge. The included breakfast is a great bonus as well but we got there towards the end and the options were limited but looked good !

If you want to start the day off right, the night auditor a young lady and check out associate are fun and enjoy a good clean banter with this guest. AT 300 NIGHTS a year, I am in a hotel this was such a refreshing and utterly fantastic way to start the day. As the day got rougher I found myself reliving the early morning an so smile about that time.

I stayed in this hotel twice in one week visiting relatives. The hotel is easy to find and close to the main highway and restaurants and the Headwaters Health Centre. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating in my request for late check out due to a medical condition. The room was comfortable for the four adults staying. With the pull-out sofa there would have been sleeping for six in our room with two queen beds. The Buffet Breakfast was enjoyed by my companions with the only drawback being that the Poached Eggs became solid if they sat in the warmer too long, but that is a timing issue only. The staff were certainly willing to poach some fresh eggs upon request. The only issue that I experienced is that there are no Vegan Gluten Free options on the Breakfast. I was not able to have Breakfast with my travelling companions as my only option was to bring a blender and have a smoothie in my room.

My husband and I were in Orangeville to see a performance at the Opera House and decided to stay overnight. We chose the Best Western Plus and were not disappointed. The facilities are immaculate, the staff personable and friendly and the amenities are plentiful. Our room was a single King but had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace in it. The bed was soft and comfy and the linens were crisp and white. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. We got there early enough to take advantage of the salt water pool and the hot tub. The pool area was clean and had plenty of relaxed seating and extra towels. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our one night stay was in the jacuzzi / fireplace hideaway,... What a wonderful room,..with all the amenities needed to make it a truly wonderful evening and night. Thank you Lisa so VERY MUCH for the upgrade which was so appreciated more than you will ever know. Thank you to Jamie as well for your professionalism and wonderful service. Both of you ladies made our check in so much fun,..and our stay incredible. The room was amazing,...so clean,...well appointed and so comfortable. Thank you for making this a memorable stay.

Overnight with a friend at this hotel was confusing. The lobby was very nice, there was no pool for us since it was being cleaned....we were looking forward to swimming! When we go to our room, we noticed that there were crumbs on the floor, the garbage pails had not been emptied....and the beds were questionable. We mentioned our concerns the next morning to the front desk.

Stayed for 4 nights while at a family wedding .. had had to FLEE another hotel in Orangeville, The Atlanta, as it was horrifying and had SPIDERS .. the very kind folks at the BW found us perfect accommodation. We had a suite that was beautiful ..only complaint, the room faced the hwy. Otherwise, I'd still be there :-) M

We were visiting family over the Thanksgiving Weekend and this hotel was the nearest one but we could no have made a better choice. We were very impressed with the amenities and are already looking forward to returning.

I recently spent a rewards night here for a wedding I was attending at Hockley Valley in Mono. The staff was kind and even upgraded me to the Jacuzzi suite even though I was using a free night! Great rooms, awesome bed, highly recommend!

I stayed with my daughter in September 2016. The entrance and lobby areas are nice. Check-in was efficient which was great since we were several families arriving together. The room had much more than I expected with a separate seating area, desk, and kitchenette with fridge, sink, dishes and coffee maker (no microwave). We found everything to be clean and the temperature easy to adjust. The beds are also comfortable. The tv swivels and is easily seen from either the bed or the seating area. Our team used the pool area in the evening and enjoyed it. The hotel provided us with a meeting room for a small fee where our team could meet and eat together (ordered pizza as there is no restaurant on site). The breakfast was decent, no complaints there. The view from the breakfast area is very beautiful and they do have an outdoor patio to enjoy it from as well. Some minor drawbacks only: Shower curtain did not stay in the shower stall well, soaking the floor. I did notice noise from the highway all night long so perhaps rooms on the parking lot side are quieter. There is no restaurant or bar so no way to get a drink to take to your room or meeting room. The LCBO is close by so I recommend bringing your own if you want it but it was too late in the day in our case. There is a Boston Pizza literally in the parking lot but obviously you can't bring a glass of wine across the parking lot. Otherwise, it met our needs and was comfortable

I have to give the staff there many thumbs up, they all have great attitudes and take great care of you. My room was very clean and modern although the washroom was a little tired and could use a little TLC. Breakfast was really good, it was a quick, tasty start to the day. The hotel has a quiet atmosphere but the rooms that face Hwy 10 are noisy from truck traffic at night (I never knew Hwy 10 was so busy). I had a great stay and I'm looking forward to staying here again.

We stayed for a wedding at a nearby lodge. It was a very busy weekend and I had a hard time getting the room for two nights in a row. I started with one night and called back several times and finally a King Suite became available - the price was reasonable for the area. Hotel room was clean, bright and very modern. Comfy bed great selection of pillows, a living room and a kitchenette. Perfect for families. Our son stayed on the pullout couch and had no complaints. The pool was on the smaller side and a little too warm, but clean. The free breakfast was fantastic! Make your own waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, home fries, cereal - something for everyone. The only complaint is that there is only one elevator which made for long waits. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Stayed here for two nights and the rooms were very nice. Front desk staff could have been more friendly but they were busy and may have been at the end of their day. The location and facilities are great. It is away from all the chaos of the main business area and having the restaurant right next door is a nice bonus. I will stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel when travelling to Orangeville for business. Very clean facilities and friendly staff!!!! Situated close to the center of town, I highly recommend this hotel for the business traveller!

I visited the Best Western Plus for a one night stay and was very pleased. From the friendly service at the front desk on arrival, to the clean and comfortable rooms I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to both families or business travel. Great location with many restaurant options in the area.

We stayed 4 days from 29. august in room 229 at this Best Western. Everything was excellent: A big room with good beds and furniture. Good cleaning all over in the hotel. Friendly service in reception Excellent breakfast, served by friendly breakfast-ladies. This fairly new Best Western is located on a hill-side in the east periphery of Orangeville. Close to highway 10, but there are almost no trafic-noise. The building has a very good noise-lagging. I can recommend this hotel.

This Hotel is new and situated on a hill overlooking the historic downtown streets . Stroll through the farmers market and sampled some of the towns great markets and restaurants. I will return ! Cheers ! DT

The only hotel near downtown Orangeville. Right on Highway 10. A new property, very nice interior. Excellent free breakfast. The rooms include a kitchenette and sitting area (suites). The beds are comfortable

I have stayed numerous times at this particular hotel.I am always thoroughly impressed with this particular property. The room I received was clean, spacious and very well appointed.The breakfast items have been upgraded and were enjoyed by all. But what sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone I experienced from the front desk staff, maintenance to the Manager was smiling and happy and went out of their way to make you feel at home. It looks at though they have established a great work environment that keeps staff happy and it shows.Keep up the great job

This hotel is very nice. Everything is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. I would recommend this hotel. The only downfall is the price. I think it is overpriced for the area. It is also close to Boston Pizza which is very handy.

Passing through on the way to Lake Huron, tired and spotted this hotel on a hill. None others in the area we could find. Very nice convention setup. Rooms spacious. Liked walk in shower and comfortable bed. But the price for a senior no reservation rate was high for the area I thought. Again in keeping with large city or airport prices. Certainly the most upscale Best Western we have ever seen in the States. Just passing through.

This hotel is awesome. The rooms are amazing. The height of the ceiling makes you feel like there is so much room. The sitting area is nice to just chill instead of sitting on a bed. The beds are so comfortable and tons of pillows. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. This is a great place to stay.

The hotel itself is spotless and well appointed. My room was excellent, quiet and the staff was very accommodating. I had the opportunity to meet the General manger and she was extremely attentive to my needs as a business traveler (room location and such). I highly recommend staying here and it is my go to place when I am in the area.

We stayed one night and it was a very nice stay. We arrived a bit early and the front desk was very accommodating in getting us into a room. The room was large with 2 queen beds a well stocked kitchenette area, a sitting area and a desk. I really like that the bathroom has the sink/mirror area outside the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The a/c was quiet, although we did have some problems with it but my husband sorted it out and in the end all was good. The only negative was the breakfast...The hot food was not great. It is a bit expensive (almost $200) which I found high in comparison to other similar cities but it was clean, comfortable and quiet which are my 3 top priorities so I was willing to pay the price.

This is a spacious and spotlessly clean hotel on the edge of town. Large, well furnished rooms with a well equipped kitchenette. I was easily able to have a completely dark room, which is something I have on the top of my needs list. One of the few hotels to actually follow their own green request to guests - my towels were left where I hung them instead of the common lazy practice of replacing them even if they are not left on the floor. The Boston Pizza just across the parking lot is an added bonus for late arrivals after a busy day.

What more can I say? It was the most comfortable stay for the night I could imagine! The bed was wonderful, the breakfast was warm and had something for everyone. Couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful.

Hotel lobby was nicely arranged. Hotel personnel were friendly and helful. ROOMS were large with kitchenettes. Beds were very comfortable. Pool and spa were clean. Breakfast was fine. Only downfall, hotel only has one elevator.

The hotel and rooms are nice. Comfy bed, decent breakfast, clean. However, when I checked in to the hotel, the front desk clerk greeted me, then proceeded to answer 6 phone calls while I stood there and waited. It wasn't until a line started to form behind me that she finally checked me in. I had asked for early check in, but my room wasn't ready. I needed the room at the time I had specified so I asked if there were other rooms available. She found me another room that was ready but made me pay an additional $20 for it. I wasn't happy about that since I had asked for early check-in, but I didn't have time to argue. Otherwise, my stay was good.

I have stayed here twice, both times using points because I find the almost $200 a night price to be atrocious for a hotel in Orangeville. I can stay downtown Toronto for less! The hotel is located on a busy highway, so staying in a room facing the parking lot side is a must. The closest restaurant is a Boston Pizza, so I recommend the 10-20 minute walk it would take to get to something a bit more exciting on Broadway. The buffet breakfast was decent. Had hot food as well as cold food. Pool and hot tub are nice. I checked in for my last stay and was sent to a room that hadn't been made up yet! It also smelled of smoke. I called down and the manager arranged another room for me. She walked me up to it and we were both surprised to see that that room had garbage in the garbage can, a used towel on the sink, and it looked as if someone had been lying on the bed. The manager apologized profusely and phoned down to get me yet another room. I was given two options on the 5th floor (their executive floor or something). The first room smelled the same as the initial room I was in (the manager said it had something to do with the vent and outside air). The second room smelled better, but at least still faced the parking lot. I laughed because the only apparent difference between the 4th and fifth floor rooms was a built in fireplace that wasn't overly romantic looking. The room itself was very hot and I found it difficult to cool down. So, even though there was a problem with two rooms, the manager was extremely helpful and apologetic.

Excellent hotel located 45 minutes from downtown Toronto. Perfect for visiting the area known as the Headwaters and highest elevation in Ontario. Great staff, 10 on cleanliness, nice spa and pool area. Breakfast is not overwhelming but one of the few places I stayed in where eggs tasted as eggs. This the best hotel in the region so book well in advance of your journey as it is always sold out. Recently sold so it may become a Marriot. I was told this by one of the staff.

Well located ,next to town, beside a restaurant Boston Pizza , excellent rooms large excellent beds, very clean and well kept. Nice breakfast included. Plenty of parking. Courteous staff . Absolutely NO COMPARISON with surrounding cheap motels. Book ahead and little price difference well worth it............

Was attending a wedding close by. The wedding was at 4 and check in was at 3. I requested an early check in, and was advised to call back before I left home. I called the morning of the check in and was pleasantly surprised to hear that my room was ready already, Yay, I had lots of time to come and get ready for the wedding.

Great hotel with excellent staff and facilities including indoor pool, exercise room, spa service and very caring and attentive staff. Not far from restaurants and stores. Lots of available tables in the breakfast area. Boston Pizza restaurant next door about 2 kilometres away from restaurant called FORAGE owner by a Michelin Star Chef and his wife who is a Cordon Blue Chef.

I have always stayed in this hotel when I visit my family in Orangeville. It is always clean, well maintained and the employees are very pleasant and helpful with anything you nee, from directions to forgotten items.

This Best Western Hotel in Orangeville seems to be new, we did have a room on the fifth floor (520), the view on the roof was.... but the room was great , i did have a nice siting corner and a smal kitchen and a working desk, we did have a double queen, we did have a snack next-door with was ok, the breakfast is a standard one.. the pool and gym looks ok, the price a little high, but this is because we think they are the only one with a proper accommodation. one minus point in the morning, the elevator broke down so we had to carry our luggage from the fifth floor down to the lobby level.

In the states I would stay at a Best Western unless I had to, but this is a VERY nice hotel. Staff is very friendly, hotel is clean and modern, and I would highly recommend. Location is close to multiple restaurants and stores; right off of the main highway.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it is nice, but my last trip they changed the cost of the night from when I booked it, to when I checked out. I had a reservation for the end of this month and I needed to shorten my stay, they have now instituted a 2 night minimum, I am forced to pay for a night I don't need or stay elsewhere. This hotel seems more concerned in getting as much money from you than good customer service. I would advise you take screen shots or print off your bookings if you decide to stay here.

Just home from a weekend at the best western. We were there for a AGM of a winter sport. A nice hotel but a little over priced, oh yea bring your own pillow if you don't like hard ones. The best part would be the staff. I have been fighting a cough so I brought along some tea and honey. No kettle so I just used the coffee machine to get the water hot. So after being out all day, I returned to a note from Paula who cleaned my room saying that she saw that I brought my tea so she left a kettle in the room. Customer service at its best.

this was a very good hotel, the hotel and rooms were very clean, it has an excvellent location,great location, the staff were excellent and very helpful, the breakfast provided was very extensive and tasty.

Stayed here for a girls weekend. Though we didn't spend much time here, hotel was clean, easy check-in and good view. Only downfall was the breakfast. Nothing overly spectacular - thought it would be better considering it's a PLUS location. Would stay again.

This was by far one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I have ever had. The location is great, the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast is amazing. I loved having the mini-suite with the couch area, and the kitchenette was really handy. I stayed at the Howard Johnson in Orangeville in the past, but the Best Western is a million times better. I would most definitely stay again.

We stayed six weekends from October 2015 through March 2016. Each visit was as pleasant as the first. Front Counter staff Lavi & Pauline were always friendly and professional. Breakfast personnel were always pleasant. Service and food quality were great. Rooms were well decorated and in top shape, beds very comfortable. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone travelling to the Orangeville area.

We stayed here for two nights in September 2015 in a king suite with jacuzzi facing the hyway and then one night on Christmas day in a room with a king bed facing the parking lot. Both visits were exceptional in that the rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When we asked for a late check out on Boxing Day it was not a problem whatsoever and we were happily accommodated. The pool area was decent and the pool was warm. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a hot tub as well. We did not notice any difference in the noise level on either side of the hotel, nor did we notice any real noise from other rooms. The hotel was packed over labour day weekend with not a room to spare but it still seemed fairly quiet. The free breakfast was very good for being free. There was lots to choose from including hot eggs and deep fried homefries, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and limitless coffee and juice. Definitely superior to the many continental breakfasts offered by other hotels which pale in comparison to the breakfast offered here. Breakfast ladies were also very nice. The toiletries provided in the bathroom are all organic and amazing. Would love to stay here again and will definitely do so when the opportunity presents itself.

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel allowed us to check in early so we had time to relax, change and still make it to the wedding on time. This hotel is very attractive. We stayed on the top - 5th - floor. King suites with marble bathroom, kitchenette, sitting area, fireplace etc etc. We felt the price paid was very reasonable compared to the quality of the hotel and the room. Highly recommended. Breakfast superior to most breakfasts we have had at other hotels and it was included in the price.

I had the pleasure of staying here on March 3rd, 2016 - and it was a great experience. A VERY friendly welcome at the reception desk; a lovely suite (so appreciated the kitchenette so I could make my protein shakes, etc. - coffee maker in the room, but I'm a tea drinker, so it would have been nice to have tea bags as an option - they were available downstairs though with a nice selection); the shower was great, the towels are lovely; the bed is divine with a great choice of pillows (I like the soft ones) - the room is clean and it was cool, which I love. I would recommend asking for a room on the opposite side of the highway though as I could hear the trucks in the night. Staff are amazing and very customer oriented. Loved the Fitness Center - had it all to myself! Updated and awesome equipment, weights, yoga mats, etc. Appreciated the lighted hallways too as my room was at the very end of the hall.

Once again they have out done themselves, fast and easy check in. Room neat as a pin every time. Entire place is always spotless, and towels are replaced regularly at the pool. Keep up the great work.

Stayed here for a weekend baseball tournament and it was great. Conveniently located, check-in was easy, pool was a little noisy with all the kids but that's okay. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and will be back next year. Very large, clean rooms!

So far not impressed. 1 hour past check in time. Still no room. And no estimate as to when room will be ready. They are looking at cleaning room now. Will update once we get out of the lobby. Hopefully we get into our room with enough time to change for our dinner reservations tonight

Loved the suite, clean and contemporary. Suites are the best value with fireplace and sitting area/sofa bed. Great pool and hot tub!!! There is a spa in the basement here too if you book in advance - I have yet to check it out. Continental breakfast simple but very good, with lots of options for adults and picky children. Location is great if you are skiing at Hockley Valley and need an affordable alternative. 10 minutes away from the ski hill

Well let me tell you !!!!! It is a hidden Gem, Rooms are so clean, roomy, and fit for a Queen and King. Had a wonderful stay, the pool. whirlpool, excersise room, was just great. The breakfast included, was also great, fresh and tasteful, The Staff more then helpful and even with winter the tracking in of snow, the lobby etc was always clean. I have recommended this place to many, and if you go there you will not be disappointed.

Stayed 2 nights mid-week for business. Pricing was on the high side, but the room was very comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. Front desk people were helpful and professional. Fitness area was functional with working equipment. Salt water pool indoors was pleasant and a treat with winter and snow outside. Breakfast was delicious with a good mix of fruits, cereal as well as sausage and eggs. Clean and inviting!

We stayed over on New Year's Eve and we found this hotel met all of our needs by providing friendly, professional service and and very clean room. The hotel itself (lobby) as well as our room was beautiful, and well appointed. The big downside was it being so expensive for one night. Other, smaller downsides included: extremely slow elevator and a very so-so great breakfast (low selection, average quality and taste) but at least there was something to eat included in the price! I was also impressed that breakfast was offered on New Year's Day and that service was still fast despite the hotel being short staffed. Oh and the parking and wifi were also included so thumbs up to that!

My husband and I had a very good experience staying at this hotel. We were attending a family wedding and many of the guests were there for that event. We would recommend it highly to any one visiting the Orangeville area. It is relatively close to Toronto and many other wonderful places to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would have gladly stayed longer had it been necessary!

A one night stay in Orangeville. Thought the hotel pricing was high for this area. This was not the case. The quality of the room, the service of all employees and a great breakfast all combined for a great experience. Have already recommended to others. Well worth the price. Great value!

Always a nice spot to stay, rooms are clean and fresh, good continental breakfast, Boston Pizza just next door eliminates driving. Shopping and more restraunts just down the road. A little noisy if on the road side, get the parking lot side if you can

I was with a group of women hiking in the area. The hotel made for an excellent centre. The rooms were large and very well equipped. The little kitchenette area excellent for making a cup of tea etc. Breakfast provided a good selection for every taste. The hotel was handy for walking to restaurants in Orangeville. Can thoroughly recommend.

The service was impeccable, from all staff except one. She seemed very distraught, probably having a bad day, which we all have. The room was average clean, however we all have standards right. 5 star

It was our girls weekend so of course, time to be pampered. This Best Western was able to do that! We started by making an appointment at Spa O, on-site, and indulged in a pedicure. Very nice staff and pleasant environment. We checked into our room and were very pleased with the accommodations. The room was immaculately clean and the beds were quite comfortable. After dinner, we returned to take a dip in the pool and soak in the hot tub. Very enjoyable! The only negative thing was the price. There was an event taking place in the banquet hall so of course the room rates were jacked up to astronomical prices, especially for Orangeville. But otherwise, it was a beautiful property to stay at and I would certainly recommend it.

My daughter and I stayed here for a gymnastics competition. I had enough Airmiles, so I booked it through them. The staff were pleasant, the room was very spacious with high ceilings 2 queen beds and a pullout, the breakfast was very nice, much better than most hotels I had stayed in. After we had breakfast I had a shower. My daughter and I had both woken up very stuffed up and when I was in the shower I noticed that the bathroom vent was covered in dust, disgusting. I also noticed that the tiles just outside of the tub had specks on them, I thought maybe it was the pattern, but no, the other tiles were not like that. After getting out and looking closely there were lots of these specks just outside the shower and over the door - very high up, it looked like blood spots. I took pictures and went down to the front desk to tell them, again very pleasant and said she would tell housekeeping. When we were checking out she said she would give me a discount, but because i had used Airmiles, that was not possible. I took the manager's card and said I would email. I emailed 2 days ago and still no response, we were very grossed out about the bathroom - there had also been a bug in the bathtub before I went it but that can happen anywhere. Not sure if I would go back and this review may have been different if I had received a response.

Very nice suite rooms. Very clean. Spacious hotel. Great location, close to recreation centre. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Will definitely stay again if in the area. WiFi seemed to work well. Right next door to Boston Pizza - convenient.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in a ground floor jacuzzi suite. Everything was great from check-in to check-out except the housekeeping. Our second day we were asked if we needed towels around 9am. We didn't as we had just arrived very late the night before. We left only to return many hours later to an unmade room. Housekeeping was gone for the day, so the front desk clerk emptied our garbage and brought us some towels. While I was thankful for that, for what we paid, I expect daily housekeeping. The next day, in spite of having left a voice mail on the housekeeping supervisor's extension about the issue the day before, we again returned to a room that had not been made up. Luckily we were going out again and housekeeping was still there, so we let the front desk know our room had not been made up again. It was cleaned by the time we returned. Other than that, no complaints. I will add that the front desk staff were among the friendliest I have encountered in many hotel stays in spite of having to double as housekeepers.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice, bed comfortable and the atmosphere so relaxing. The pool was clean and nice temp. and the breakfast was very good a full breakfast not just muffins. Definitely would go back. The only suggestion would be to have a nice restaurant /bar in hotel. Boston Pizza is walking distance but was busy and noisy and food was not that great.

From check in to check out three days later the front desk ladies were very helpful and pleasant. My suite was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was very good and, although there were young athletes staying at the hotel, it was quiet. The only criticism I have is that the wi-fi in my room only worked sporadically.

Suite was very clean. Checked in at noon and room was already available. Breakfast buffet the next day was delicious- make your own waffles, various breads and pastries, sausages and bacon! Good value hotel that is close to the highway.

We were in town on business from North Carolina and had a great experience here. The check in was a breeze and I was upgraded to a better suite for convenience purposes. Work out facility was great and setup well. Rooms were clean and noise was not a problem, even with my room being located on the 1st floor facing the highway. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Will be back soon.

One of the best, BEST WESTERN hotels I have stayed in. Large clean rooms, great staff, Ask for a room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. The meeting rooms are well appointed and the banquet food was great..

Had a very nice experience in this clean hotel. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are good size and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Only trouble was the three keys stopped working. Don't know why as they were in three different spots and made sure not next to anything magnetic. The problem was fixed expediently. Would recommend this hotel without reservation.

After driving two hours from Madoc, Ontario to Orangeville, my family and I were exhausted and needed to find a place to sleep. We looked for a long time and found nothing of interest to us until we saw the “Best Western”, a huge and beautiful hotel . We expected it to be quite expensive, but my mother decided to go in and found it was very affordable. The beds were huge and comfortable and the room was perfect for the four of us. The room had a large bathroom and a separate living area with a couch, computer desk, sink, mini fridge, and a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea bags. If the hotel room itself wasn't perfect enough, the facility also had a hot tub and pool. The water was very clean and warm. There were even clean towels right at your reach. (The inside pool was on the last floor I believe and I was able to find all the other great things they had like the spa and fitness room for our use.) The pool, spa, and fitness rooms were all very easy to access. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised that down in the lobby there was a complimentary breakfast. They offered many different foods such as, waffles, eggs, cereals, yogurts, and breads . The food tasted amazing and was very fresh. In the lobby dining area where we ate, there were many windows so that we could see the beautiful view outside and enjoy some sunlight while eating. The service was very good and always nic. They were helpful and we had access to many varieties of movies from dramas, comedies, and even horrors which we were able to watch on the flat screen TV in our room! The housekeeping service cleaned the room when we went out and we'd come back to perfectly made beds, new shampoos, conditioners, soaps and a very clean room. Our stay was amazing! The staff were very nice and helpful, the food was amazing and very fresh, the hotel was very clean and beautiful with many fun things to do during our time there. We'd love to stay again when return to the Orangeville area.

Reservation easily made with charming and helpful Sales Manager. My questions were answered honestly and this hotel is of an excellent standard. Rooms are large, clean and facilities exactly as described. All staff are polite and exceptionally helpful. Breakfast is of a good standard - all the better for the fact that metal cutlery is provided and china plates and mugs rather than polystyrene. Easy to find being located immediately adjacent to Highway 10. All in all an establishment I strongly recommend if necessary to stay in Orangeville.

We were in town for a wedding and had limited options so we were forced to book here. At the price we paid I was looking forward to a pleasant stay. Unfortunately my room was not ready for a 3pm booking. Staff were very rude and told us they were fully booked the night before so we would just have to wait. This was very inconvenient as we were on a tight schedule and a shuttle bus was waiting for us to take us to the wedding venue. Luckily, we had other friends with a room and were able to get ready there. I had already paid, so it was only when I insisted on getting a partial refund that they magically were able to give me a room that was ready, but not assigned to me. This kind of prioritization should already be built into their business processes. Rather than feeling welcome, we felt like a nuisance, for something that wasn't even our fault. When we finally got our room, it smelled like cigarettes and was pretty run down. The only saving grace was that the beds were very comfortable. Nevertheless, I will not be coming here again, or any Best Western for that matter.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is very accessible to the highway, so it was easy to find. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and offered a great selection of waffles, poached eggs, cereals, yogurt, and breads. We enjoyed our stay very much and if we have an occasion to visit Orangeville again would certainly be very happy to stay there again.

Very clean and surprisingly nice. Much higher quality than your standard Best Western. Wi-Fi was a little slow but that is my only complaint. Front desk staff was very kind. Would definitely recommend.

This Best Western is a great hotel for families, in a great neighbourhood with lots of food options. It has lovely spa facilities, such as a great pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna. My family often stays there for 1 to 2 nights every weekend, as it's close to our ski club. The staff is excellent and friendly. The breakfast is included, with a great pancake machine!

I had the pleasure of speaking here and staying at this very nice hotel. Very clean spacious and comfortable rooms. Good wifi, parking. Free excellent full breakfast is included. Right next door to the Boston pizza for lunch and dinner. If in Orangeville this is the place to stay! Thank you for your hospitality and will be back.

We found this hotel late at night and were delighted to find somewhere decent to stay. The check-in was very friendly. The pizza restaurant across the way had decent food and a good selection besides pizza. The room was nothing to write home about but certainly clean and adequate. The shower was nice and the bed very comfortable. Coffee pot was absent from the machine but that's the only real criticism. If travelling through, then this is a fine stop-over point for a good nights rest. There was no noise from the road and we were very comfortable.

This is not your typical Best Western. It's modern and gorgeous with an in house spa. The staff are super helpful and the breakfast was amazing (great selection!). My husband and I stayed in a first floor room with beautiful high ceilings and a great little kitchenette.

In the states I do not usually like the quality of Best Western Hotels, but my recent BW stays in Canada have been wonderful. This property in Orangeville was clean, beautiful and the bed was great. The front desk employee at check out and check in we very helpful.
