« Good deal for the money »

We we're only there for 1 night, but we enjoyed our stay. We were given a complementary upgrade to a suite. The room was comfortable and clean, but the furnishings are a bit worn and dated. Some noise from the pool area until around 10 pm. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but the food was fine,

    « A must stay »

Being from Illinois, we had the pleasure of making this hotel home for a week. Staff was very friendly, hotel was very well kept, good breakfast and very nice location. When visiting California again soon, this will be our choice of stay.

    « Close to Disney »

I originally booked at a cheap hotel closer to where my meetings were only to read the reviews and thus cancelled. I was able to book this Best Western the day before I left. A little tired but overall a nice facility for the price and the room was big. Pool looked fun too.

    « Excellent! »

The price, location, the amenities, the cleanly room, all perfect! I will stay here again. Shuttle to Disneyland once every hour. Quick prepay option at discounted price available online and on third-party websites. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast!

« Great value! Great Breakfast! »

This hotel was a great value and had great breakfast. Super short drive to Disneyland Toy Story parking lot. Front desk Erica was really nice. We stayed there for 5 nights. Short drive to the beach as well. Would stay here again!

« Good hotel for the price »

Nice hotel for the price. Free breakfast included, all rooms are suites, pool and Jacuzzi. The only negatives were lack of recognition as a BWR member, one of our TV remotes didn't work and the kitchen supervisor was kinda rude. Still would go back next time I'm in Anaheim.

« Misunderstanding of what happens all over Los Angeles »

It was okay but simple. Just did not like the idea of leaving a non signed credit card as a deposit. I found out that this is what they do here in California. They don't trust anybody. That's Los Angeles for you. See I don't remenber anything about where we stayed.

    « We'll be returning »

My husband and I stayed at this hotel October 2017 and we loved this place. It was clean, the staff was really friendly. Its not super close to Disneyland, but the ART transport stops by and they just make it really convenient. The price was great too. There was great order in room service. My only complaint is the breakfast and the pool... the eggs at the breakfast were incredibly gritty and really fake tasting, I had a bite and threw the rest out and the orange juice was bitter and tasted like bitter water. Which that is just me being picky... But everything else at the breakfast looked and tasted great. And for the pool it was sooooo salty. Like not just chlorine, but it tasted like sweat salt... But besides those few things, the hotel and staff were so kind and amazing the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and outgoing and had conversations with us. We are returning to Disneyland at the end of this year and are booking our stay here again.

« Good value- weird decor »

Our friends were staying here for a visit to Disneyland, so we chose to book a room here as well. Although the hotel isn't across the street from Dland, the price for the room made up for the lack of convenience. Beds were comfortable and you can tell that the management tries hard to update the property, but in some cases, they went a little too cheap. For example, they didn't replace the medieval era lamps in the bedrooms when updating the room. Instead, you have ultra modern lamps in the living room and the the original lamps from when the hotel opened in the 70s. The bedroom lamps look like they could be used as a weapon in case of a break-in! Also, instead of properly painting the interior of the elevator, the local handyman spray painted it with a rattle can and it looks really bad. The bathrooms were nice and the rooms very large. Breakfast was included and was "just okay". In the end, I don't think you can beat the value!

    « The best!! »

We has a wonderful stay!! The hotel was clean and comfortable. Just a short drive away from our destination ... Disneyland!! Centered near shopping and food choices. Friendly staff and delicious continental breakfast. Highly recommend!

« Very unaccommodating and inconsistent staff »

Upon check in I was not offered a gift bag or my bonus points they will charge your card and if it declines it takes a whole 24hrs for them to run it again but they will not inform u it's being charged they say there systems automatically do it so change your systems duh ?? it's obsered and inappropriate. I've never had such a complicated stay at Best Western wud not recommend this place very inconsistent.

« Great price shabby room »

All of the public rooms look like they've been recently updated. They were very clean and modern looking. This includes the breakfast area and the pool/hot tub area. The room itself was very large which was nice, however it was quite shabby and a little dirty. There were stains on the carpet. The head board of my daughter's bed had some sort of whitish liquid that had dripped on it and not been washed off. The sofa in the sitting are was worn and threadbare in places. A good steam clean of the carpet and a thorough cleaning of the room would go a long way to making it a much better experience.

« Beautiful and great place to stay »

Beautiful and great place to stay, close by the highways and outlets. Out of all the places we stay in California this one was our favourite place. Staff was extremely helpful Only little complain was the washer and dryer on site need to be updated

« George - Respectable Manager to Employees But Horrible Customer Service »

I will try to make this as short as possible and straight to the point. George, in my opinion, should be a respectable Manager because he obviously protects and supports his employees. This is a great trait to have and certainly will win him the loyalty of his employees. For this, I respect him. However, from a customer service perspective, his mentality is that of a child doing what he wants with absolutely no regard for others then gets angry and decides not to be your "friend" because you don't agree with him. I had written a letter to the hotel addressing my complaints about receiving zero customer service during my arrival and stay. I was not informed of anything the hotel has to offer and was never greeted or acknowledged by any staff member there. It was a harsh letter, I admit but it was meant as constructive criticism. As a paying customer, I didn't receive what I paid for. The room was good and clean. But every hotel advertises their commitment to high customer service. If you advertise it, own up to it when you don't. I asked for a refund of my stay because the value wasn't there. I also requested the manager email me his/her response and please do not call me in the room as I will be resting before I leave at 11am. Low and behold at around 9am, my phone rings. George identified himself and begin stating why he is calling. I immediately asked if he had read my letter and he said yes. Then I proceeded to tell him that I requested him not to call me because I am resting and to email me the reply so that it is documented. He then stated that I may have written that but....ok, so you sort of acknowledged my request but you didn't care so you called to disturb my rest in a hotel room I rented. His reply was generic and basically gave me the impression that he is supporting his employee, which is a good thing. A lot of managers these days will not support their employees just to save themselves the trouble of dealing with a complaining guest. I told him do what you must, but please send me an email and I need to rest. He continued talking after this and that frustrated me. I already told him numerous times to put it in an email and he doesn't listen or care. I had the right to be frustrated and he decided to tell me to calm down. I had enough of it so I hung up the phone. He was really aggressive towards me when I didn't see it or agree to his reply. Different opinions, I understand that. But he disregarded my request to let me rest until 11am and made the decision to argue with me. I called Best Western Guest Support and while the agent there was great, but I can tell she was not on my side. I repeated something I told her later in the conversation and she pointed out to me that I already told her that. I can tell she didn't want to deal with this because she called the hotel and spoke to George. She advised me that George has decided to take his offer of 10% discount off of the table and I am being put on the Do Not Rent List. I also told the agent that with the manner in which George approached me, I was fearful of what he might do. So I decided to leave 1.5 hours early because I didn't want this to escalate. I expressed my concerns and obviously the hotel manager did not agree. That's ok, let's move on and I'll deal with it another way. No point in getting into a confrontation with someone you don't see eye to eye. But George's actions today really surprised me. Not only can he not handle criticism towards him or his staff, he puts someone who isn't returning anyways on a Do Not Rent List because I was defending my rest period. If someone invades my personal space, I'm sorry, I'm going to defend it. I know he is going to be reading this and either try to flag it as inappropriate or give a generic and even perhaps, an argumentative reply. Either way, I was a guest at your hotel and I'm expressing what had happened from my perspective. I also have documentation showing everything I said here is true. George can decide not to agree with what the guest is requesting regarding compensation. Compensation is subjective. But don't disregard the guest's request for the sake of forcing your decision on me and then banning me from your hotel for not accepting it. Absolutely the worse experience I've had as a traveler and my background is hotel management which baffles me that a hotel manager would choose to do this. Again, the hotel itself is good for the money. The room is clean and location is good. But the service is not up to standards with the condition of the hotel.

    « Beautiful Property »

I loved this property!! Nice, warm full American breakfast 6:30-9:30am every morning. I had a beautiful clean Suite. Erica @ the front desk was efficient & kind.I will stay again when I'm in the area.

    « A Great Stay Overall »

We enjoyed our stay here overall. The staff were helpful. If there's one thing I suggest the management has to improve on is the breakfast items/choices. We understand it is complimentary so we shouldn't complain about it. However, I really hope they would include more packaged/sealed items (i.e. sandwiches/pastries, drinks). Three of us in the family ended up with Gastrointestinal issues during our stay. We understand that we could have gotten it elsewhere, but we can't discount the fact our exposure there. We ate breakfast there everyday.

« Free room came at a cost »

We worked to earn our points for a free room but were never given the option to upgrade to the suite we normally reserve. The room we got was small, very noisy, and had very obvious wear and tear like broken fixtures, rusty toilet paper holder, and damaged walls. Also, lighting outside the room was nonexistent and inside was dim. We were jarred awake at midnight by the radio alarm after struggling to fall asleep due to the noisy people above. Sadly, the front desk did not seem to take our issues seriously. Not sure if we will return.

« Got last minute night out »

Highly recommended. Also location is excellent close to resturants, outlets and bars. I did not reservation and all the process was excellent, all rooms have kitchen so jf you want to save money bring your own!

« Fantastic service, would recommend »

The breakfast was awesome, and more than we expected. The beds were comfortable. The location was close to Disneyland and they even offered a shuttle which was convenient. For the value, I'd recommend it to anyone!

« Good Location and Comfortable Rooms »

This location is easy to get to from the highway and an easy drive to Disney and Knotts. There is a very nice quiet courtyard to relax in. My one issue with this hotel is the design. All rooms only have windows that only face onto the walkway. There is no way of leaving drapes open for sunlight without people looking in.

« Stayed here to go to hockey game »

Kind of a funky smell but nice big room and easy parking. Price was ok too. Pretty typical budget hotel breakfast. Didn't look like a hotel from City View drive so almost drove past. Wasn't the worst place we've stayed.

    1
    « Rude customer service »

So we attempted to check in in the evening and my mother in law was greeted with nothing but rudeness now I get she can be a bit particular but she is the one kind enough to pay for the room she should get what she wants and for the price she should be treated properly this guy was an jerk and when I went to front desk to apologize for any inconvenience he made it seem like he didn't give a care I work at a hotel at the front desk and on the phone and I love my job and my hotel and I would never ever treat my guests like that because without them I don't have a job.Customer service is my passion it's what I'm good at and I don't think it's too much to ask that in return this gentleman and I use the term loosely is an older guy and he was completely rude I will never stay here again just because of that

« Barley better than a 50 dollars night motel »

Stained sheets from the moment we got in.Water got turned off mid day with absolutely no notice. Keys expired 2 days before check out and had to go to lobby to get new ones made. No apologies for any of it. Loud guests in pool staff didn't care about.

    « new and improved »

has been remodeled and updated rooms and breakfast area more modern. enjoyed our stay during Christmas holidays. did not stay here last year because previous stay was not satisfied with staff or cleanliness of room or breakfast area. will book room again on our next visit to Orange County, Santa Ana,

« I really wanted to like this Best Western... »

I really wanted to like this Best Western, I really did. I'm a Best Western member so I stay with them when I can. I did my research and decided to use this Best Western to get the most bang for my buck while my family visited Disneyland and Knott's Merry Farm over the holidays. Ugh. It fell WAY below my standards of a Best Western. It started with check-in. The guy at the front desk seemed bothered that we arrived early and seemed to be even more bothered when we asked for information on where to eat that was close by. It was like pulling teeth from him. I will say that after we fell asleep in the lobby for about an hour, we were able to get our room early so that was nice. Next it was out toiletries. Our conditioner dispenser wasn't working so I pulled it down and took the conditioner bottle out (a universal sign that something is wrong). When we came back to our room the conditioner was left were I had placed it and the dispenser was closed. No attempt was made to even fix it or find out what the problem was. So I took the initiative to find out the problem and replace it in the dispenser. During our stay we had to ask the front desk for toilet paper twice. We are a family of four and stay there for five days. The coffee/tea amenities didn't get restocked, our ice bucket never got restocked with new bags for ice and our trash can wasn't emptied daily. Key card. Our key card stopped working three days into our trip. Like, it wouldn't let us in the room at all. We notified the front desk and told them we would be out the door by 10am for them to take a look at it. We ended up closing Disneyland that day and didn't get back to the hotel until about 12:30am. When we asked if everything was ok and we could still use our key cards, the guy at the front desk had no idea what we were talking about. He simply gave us new cards and sent us to our room. Breakfast. It's a standard Best Western breakfast. Not awesome but not horrible. However, what made it awful was the dining room counter tops are granite (or something) and the food is served on compostable plates. That cold from the counter just seeps through your plate and gets your food ice cold before you are ever able to finish your meal. The dining hall is also between the front entrance double doors and the back entrance double doors, which are left open, in December, although it was only 47 degrees at 8:15 in the morning. If you are staying here in the winter and decide to come down for breakfast, wear all your winter attire or come down quickly, grab your food and head back into the comfort of your room. I'm from Washington and 47 degrees is even chilly for me. When I tried to close the doors an employee waited until I had turned my back to leave and reopened them. She never came up to me for her reasoning as to why they left them open and when I went to the front desk to inquire about why they had the doors open and didn't they notice the people eating in jackets, I was told it's so the guest know that they can enter through there for breakfast. Really? You can't have signage? One other thing I want to point out, this Best Western does not have shuttle service. Anywhere. They are however on the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) line, 16 Orange that runs every HOUR from the hotel lobby/drop off. I did not know this prior to booking the hotel and it wasn't a huge inconvenience it just required more careful and detailed planning than I wanted to worry about on vacation over the holidays. I could really only recommend this hotel if you are staying for one night. I will never return here.

    4
« Close to team parks »

We stayed here for two nights when visiting eastern and southern parts of LA. It is close to Disney team parks and they also have shuttle. It is also close to Hinda center to see Mighty Ducks play. The hotel is ok with clean and large rooms. The staff is super nice. Many free parkingslots and fast wifi was included. Also breakfast was included and have some hot and cold dishes to choose from. We slept very well on their comfortable beds and the area is quite safe. Overall a nice stay.

    4
    « Great family hotel »

Enjoyed our stay. Close to Disney and Knotts. Breakfast was good. Only downfall was that we ran out of toilet paper, and house services never took out our trash during our stay. Housekeeping did the bare minimum.

    5
« Excellent hotel and location »

Hotel is clean and the lobby is very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little tight but wasn't an issue during our stay. The hotel is easy to get to and was easy for Uber to find. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It was everything I expected from a Best Western Hotel. Good job.

    4
    « Trip to California »

This was an unscheduled -- last minute -- trip to attend memorial for family member. The hotel was conveniently located between the various cities/townships that would be visited including the Church service. The property was well kept, very clean and quite pleasant. Our sleep was comfortable and the breakfast appealing.

    4
« Secure and good location »

Secure with easy freeway access and options for business or recreation. Reasonable value. Good hotel for family recreation or for the business traveler. Wide variety of dining options within a three miles.

« Best in the West »

Great deal - last minute suite rate was phenomenal! Room was clean, beds and sofa comfy. Bathrooms very clean, kitchen items nice. Pool and spa in great shape as well. In in the area, will definitely return there.

    « awesome exprience »

would definitely recommend this hotel. no complaints what so ever. took my family to Disneyland. we occupied 3 family suites. everyone had a great time. staff, service, location, rooms, best experience traveling with all my family. I travel around. this is a definite stay again place. Highly recommend. Awesome experience.

« My number 1 choice when I stay in Santa Ana / Anaheim area »

I visit the Santa Ana area at least once every year. This is the first and only place I think of when I stay. Exceptional service. Friendly staff. The breakfast is a major plus. Rooms are comfortable although I prefer the suites as it feels a bit more homey and relaxing.

    5
    « Corporate or Leisure »

Spending time in Anaheim and want to be away Tourist area of Anaheim this is the property to stay in. Located in the middle of businesses and quiet area. Guest rooms and property looks like they went through new renovations recently. It's updated decor and lights in the main lobby is very relaxing.

    4
    « Great location »

This was a wonderful stay in-between hitting Knott's and Disneyland. Off the beaten path yet very accessible. Great mall nearby. The room was spacious. The bed and bedding were terrific, but the sofa bed left a lot to be desired, as they usually do. Wish breakfast was served a little later on the weekday. We will be back.

    4
« Good Value, Convenient Location »

This Best Western Plus is a good value and convenient hotel to Santa Ana, Orange, Irvine, Anaheim areas. Nice courtyard, OK breakfast, plenty of parking and close to a running/walking trail along the canal. The rooms are large and comfortable with small kitchen area. Have stayed here 4 or 5 times and get what I expect. Have only had one minor issue with the front desk staff.

    2
    « Poor Quality Accomodations. »

The building itself is odd, as it looks as if it's in an old office building. All of the rooms are built into the interior of the building, so the windows look into a hallway, not the outdoors. It's extremely odd, there's no opportunity for fresh air, and made me feel claustrophobic. The rooms smell stale, and like low quality room cleaner. Mildew on the bathtub, scuffing and gauges in the doors...I get that it was a bargain, but I've learned a lesson to never sacrifice sleeping accommodations to save a few bucks. Not worth it at this location, at all! I'm usually very satisfied with Best Western, and this was my first really, truly awful experience. I will never be back. I will say, that Michael at the front desk was very accommodating, however. He was the only redeeming part of the whole stay.

    1
    « Bad experience »

Room smelled like wet dog, TV didn't work, bed was uncomfortable, shower had hair in it. The jacuzzi made my skin break out. The staff tried to over charge us on the room rate. The breakfast was very low quality, especially the powdered eggs!

    4
« Quick trip to CA »

The Meridian was a comfortable hotel, with good staff. Its a little worn, but very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, with many choices. The pool and spa area were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is also close to Disney Land. I would stay there again.

« This is my first visit here »

Usually Orange is expensive but this stay was very affordable, way under 100. And free parking and a nice breakfast. The room is on the ground floor as as quiet as a bank at night. Nice comfy king bed and a great shower. It is right off Chapman, and everything I need in Orange is on Chapman. Perfect. I ll come here again.

    3
« Surprised but not stunned »

Marble counters in the kitchenette, WHAT! Seperate the bedroom from the living room with a pair of french doors, huh?!? But then I went for breakfast and heard a lot of kids, is Disney nearby? JK I'm single and not blessed with children and thats all I could find wrong with the place. So i ate the rudimentary slop and shuffled along. Very much worth the hubdred for the night. Sleep well in the king beds. Gnight

    4
    « very accommodating staff »

Excellent choice for the money. The pool side suite was very roomy. Worked well for my business needs. FREE parking a plus. A nice pool. Close to upscale outlets for dinner and a nice stroll. Staff was very helpful.

« Great hotel, great value, ART bus to Disney! »

This hotel has a lot to offer just a few miles out from Disney. The price is a lot cheaper than hotels right by the park and you get a lot more! Free breakfast, free parking, huge room ( ours was a 1 bedroom suite with sofa bed), and the ART bus picks you up right at the front lobby and takes you to the entrance to Disney in 20 minutes! It's also nice and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean. It's near a lot of shopping and restaurants as well. I can't suggest this place enough! We were very happy with our choice!

« Our First Stay at Best Western Meridian hotel »

Enjoyed our stay at another Best Western hotel location, as our usual hotel in Orange was booked. A lovely property and much bigger than our regular one. Service was excellent, the suite was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast catered to a variety of needs for patrons. Staff replenished and checked on patrons often. Physical surroundings especially the cabana like atmosphere by the pool was very pleasant. Only other comments were it was a bit noisy outside our room and above us since we were on the first floor, and we had to ask for extra towels and Kleenex as there was not enough for our party. Staff was very accommodating about all of this. Would definitely return to this Best Western property, as we love your hotels and all the benefits of being rewards customers.

    5
    « We are thrilled »

We were so happy with our selection. The hotel was very nice. The pool area was beautiful; the pool was large. There was a hot tub, great morning breakfast, very pleasant staff, very nice clean room, pleasant staff, and a great price. There is a shuttle that comes to the hotel that goes to Disneyland. The day rate is $2.00 for children and seniors over 65. Others are $5.50. We couldn't have asked for anything else!

« Nice Clean Hotel. Great location in Orange County. »

Stayed recently for a couple of nights. Was on the third floor. Very nice big room with sitting area and dining table. Convenient little kitchenette and fridge. Separate bedroom with King bed. Clean bathroom with sink area separate from tub and toilet which was nice. Great location near freeways and outlet mall. Lots of restaurants close by, especially around the outlet mall. Parking is free, which is rare for So. California. Family Friendly. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would stay here again in the future.

« Best Best Western Hotel in Orange County »

This is the best of Best Western Hotel in Southern Cali that I had stayed. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. I will stay at this hotel for all my future trips in Southern California. Very nice and quiet location. Close to the Premium Outlets.

    « Great stay! »

Our family and friends stay in this hotel every tie we go to Disneyland. We always need a separate room from the living room as we have two families staying together. It works out great. It's also nice to have free parking, breakfast and wifi. The pool and jacuzzi and workout room are great amenities and the hotel is close to everything.

    « I'd Come Back »

Staff is very friendly, welcoming and aim to please. The rooms could use better cleaning. Nothing major...Corners were extremely dusty and we found a pacifier on the ground. A sign that room may not have been thoroughly vacuumed. Beds were comfy, water pressure was great, breakfast was YUMMY, Overall I would comeback.

« Home Away from Home »

This hotel is so comfortable and clean and the service always excellent - now it's our home away from home when we visit this area! We stay here when visiting family and feel that it is a great value considering how nice everything is. Our suite allows us to relax and even spend time with family here. It's also very quiet and we really appreciate that!

« Nice room- good value »

We stayed in a king suite with full sleeper sofa over labor day weekend. This was a nice hotel in quite area about 10 minute drive to Disneyland parking area. The room was nice with a mini fridge, sink, separate living room with sleeper sofa our 7 & 9 year old slept on comfortably. King bed was comfortable and had tv's in both rooms (we did not really use much as we were only there to sleep and get ready for theme park adventures. Free parking, free wifi, and great free breakfast that had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries and more. Only complaint was that we were on the 1st floor and our upstairs neighbors were bouncing around at 4am waking us up waaaay to early when we get home around 1am from Disneyland. Not sure if it's hotels fault due to poor quality of building or just rude upstairs guests. We will definitely stay here next time we visit as long as we are on 3rd floor.

Room was clean beds were soft nothing wrong at all, plus free breakfast ( waffles, sausage, cereal, was and fruit) save so much money eatting a good breakfast at the hotel. I love best westerns

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Staff was friendly took care of all the requests we had. I would definitely stay here again. Centrally located it was the perfect location for our family trip. Will come back.

« Great hotel! Great price! »

These rooms were huge! The hotel staff is definitely one of the best I have encountered. They were great! We had a full kitchen for a little more cost and the money it saved from going out to eat was way worth it.

« Got to live this place »

If your looking for a quiet centrally located place to stay in the OC this is the place. For the last minute price I paid I could not have been more happy. Beautiful rooms and quiet location with outlet stores 2 minutes away.

This is the best hotel in this area. Hotel is clean, has a pool, and has free breakfast until 9:30 am daily. Staff is friendly and rooms are comfortable. Hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and Disneyland.

    « Comfortable and Quiet »

This hotel has a great location that makes it close enough to Disneyland (2 freeway exits) but quieter than other hotels. It was clean and the staff works to make sure you are happy with your stay. Our room was a nice surprise. It was a king suite that was large and roomy with a bedroom, sitting room, table & chairs, sink, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There is an outdoor courtyard with pool, hot tub, and patio seating area. It was also really nice to have a full breakfast served each morning. We will be staying here again!

« good choice, comfortable plus »

Nice and spacious hotel, excellent for groups getting together. Not too close to tourist sites but amenable everywhere by car-like disneyland. Good access to local areas in irvine, etc. 1Hr 40 mins from LA tourist sites depending on traffic.

    « Family Vacation »

Excellent hotel friendly staff best location close from everything. Disney land is about 10 mins drive, outlet mall is only 10 mins walk. Many nice great restaurant. Really highly recommended to this hotel!

    « Nice Hotel »

We stayed here on a last minute trip to Disneyland. The hotel itself is very nice. Our 2 queen room was large, having a living room and kitchenette which we didn't use. The only negative wasn't part of the hotel, but rather the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) system. We have used ART many times from other locations and it normally runs every 20 to 30 minutes. However since the Meridian is so far away from the parks, it only runs once an hour. That makes it frustrating knowing that there's no "next quick" shuttle. So if you're not using the ART or don't mind the "one time per hour" service, I definitely recommend staying here. Personally, our family will not be staying here again just because of the ART. We'd rather stay closer and walk.

    4
« Good hotel, maybe not for Disney »

The hotel looks like a former corporate office converted to a hotel. The breakfast was standard buffet. Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels. Nothing special but gets you going. There is a city shuttle that will take you to Disneyland. It leaves once an hour to and from Disney. The ride is about 30 minutes and is $10 per person per pday. In retrospect, I would rather have stayed across the street from Disney and not had breakfast.

    « Great Hotel »

Great hotel just hate that we had a few of our travel ball team here and we cant get a grab bad of fruit or any other food if we had early games. Sucked because a few of us had toddlers so we had to worry about getting to Mcd in we hours of the morning (6am)

    3
« Suite with no view »

Lobby is stark and had an odd odor. Rooms have windows looking out on enclosed corridors with windows to the outside. Odd architecture. But the best bed I have ever slept in during my entire life! Spacious suite with kitchenette for $200

    5
« Great value stay, close to Disneyland »

I chose this hotel due to its good location in proximity to Disneyland, familiar brand and good price. The room was clean, the breakfast satisfactory and had a great shuttle to Disney. It certainly met all of my needs for a 4 day stay. My only complaint was that the bathroom was a little small and the bed was a too firm in the standard 2 person room. I would recommend a suite instead, as they appear much more spacious and comfortable.

    4
« Perfect Place In The Middle Of Orange County »

We love staying here while in the Orange County area. You're close to all the theme parks and beaches. Good dining and shopping near by. Safe and quiet. More than enough free onsite parking. They recently renovated.

    « Worth the money! »

Fun trip with family! My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!! We were treated very well and loved the comfortable, relaxed feel of the place!! We had a double with kitchen! Everything worked well! Was nice and clean!! Will definitely stay next year!

    « Very good stay »

We stayed there for 5 nights as a family with 2 kids. It's a well kept property with clean and spacious rooms, free parking and WiFi and a very good location near the attractions and the outlet mall at orange. The breakfast was nice - special thanks to Nagy for making it perfect. All in all a great deal compared to price, I highly recommend it.

    « Relaxation »

My son and I as well as other family members stayed at BW for 8 days and it was a very wonderful relaxing and very well taken care of Hotel. We definitely plan to make this trip back again next year. We found the breakfast wonderful but would have liked it to have liked it to have a little more selections instead of the same thing each morning. Don't take me wrong the food was great but would have like bacon maybe 3 days during the week instead of sausage each day and maybe hash browns. I'm sure that BW will get it right. All in all, it's a great and very clean place to stay.

    « Excellent »

This was a by chance booking I had going on vacation with one of my best friends and the hotel that we had booked through another travel service was absolutely awful we only ended up staying in the room for approximately 20 minutes while we were trying to find a place to stay for the night then we found this place the day after and I went in to speak with someone about looking at a room and they showed me the room I loved it we booked right then and there the service I had the entire rest of the trip was excellent customer service is definitely key here made sure that I had everything I needed and we're very helpful when I couldn't find something I will definitely book here again!!!

    « Disneyland »

My partner and I stayed here after a four day cruise. We wanted to spend a few days at the Disneyland Resort, but not at a hotel "right there", so we would be away from the noise, crowds, etc. We were very pleased with our selection. Upon arrival, our room was not ready (but hey,it was 8:30 a.m.!). The hotel stores our luggage, and invited us to eat breakfast. We did. Nice selections. They even had someone making waffles for people! Awesome! The front desk person gave us instructions on how to use the bus system that would take us to Disney. Simple, easy, and the pick up spot is right in front of the hotel! We went to Downtown Disney, explored, shopped, had lunch, and returned. Upon returning, our room was ready, and my partner and I were very impressed. The room was on the ground floor, close to the pool and hot-tub area. We did enjoy those! Very nice! Our room was cosy, ac worked well, and plenty of drawers for us to use. The king-sized bed was perfect for the two of us, and extremely comfortable. We both slept well every night! The hotel is a short Uber ride to the Angels Stadium for a baseball game (great entrance!). Overall, the friendliness of the staff, as well as the clean property impressed both of us. We would stay here again!!!

« Comfortable rooms but air conditioning needs work. »

This hotel is environmentally aware which is good. Unfortunately it was hot and humid in Orange when we were there and since the air conditioning does not come on until you enter the room and place the key card into the slot it was very hot in the room when we entered. It took at least 4 hours to cool the room down! But the bed was very comfortable and the shampoo, lotion and bath gel were very nice. We had a suite which was very nice but the small kitchen area could provide glasses. We had to use the bathroom glasses. I received a deal on my room rate so I am rating this a 4 but if I had paid regular price I don't think it would rate so high. Also, we could not get the tv to work so called the front desk and no one answered for about 30 minutes!! Strange. The breakfast was included. A lot of choices but poor tasting food.

« Comfy and spacious family stay »

We chose this hotel as we wanted a bit of time at Disney but didn't need to be on top of it or pay the premium to be in walking distance. We had a Queen Queen suite -with separate bedroom -ideal for families. Nice lounge area. Micro, fridge, coffee maker in kitchenette but no utensils or plates. Attractive pool area. You could eat breakfast out here in morning. Free breakfast - cereals, toast, waffles, fruit, yoghurts, egg and sausage. Very nice server making hot waffles! Good enough selection to get you going for the day. Might feel repetitive for a longer stay but if you're getting up and out it was more than satisfactory. Beds were very comfy. Room well cleaned. Location just down from Orange outlet mall with several restaurants, shops, cinema. Near the 22 and 5 so good to get around eg out to beach but still a quiet hotel. Disney a max 10 min drive away. Would stay again as it was good value and comfortable.

    « Breakfast needs improvement »

I liked everything except the breakfast. The eggs were not fresh, seemed like they came out of carton. Made my son sick. The sausage looked and tasted like boiled. The pastry was not fresh. My wife only eats boiled eggs and there was none. We ended up spending money on eating out for breakfast last 2 days when we had not planned on it because it was horrible.

    4
« Good value and convenient »

It was very roomy and comfortable. Only downside was that there were no chest of drawers in the bedroom. There was a set in the living room. Odd. But on the other hand it was a large and comfortable room

    « Nice and clean »

The Hotel and room was clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful. The family had great time hanging out around pool and fountain. Ice machine on every floor. Will be staying here on next trip for sure.

« Love this place and looks even nicer now »

Been staying at this hotel last 8 years for any Disney or LA visit love this place. It's always clean and very comfy plus close to major freeways and food. They just remodeled so looks even nicer than my last visit.

« Great Value if you need 2 bedrooms »

Great value if you need 2 bedrooms and it really is only minutes from Disney and the major attractions. Rooms need a little updating but beds are good and room was clean. Its an older building but they are upgrading. Nice pool and hot tub in interior courtyard and the breakfast is good.

« Nice Hotel to stay for Vacation »

This is a Beautiful hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Room is clean and large space that meet expectation for family. Compared with many BW that I stayed, this is much better. I would stay again and recommend this hotel for everyone.

« Large Room, Close to Disney, Free Parking »

We booked this hotel for our trip to Disney. Things I Liked: Close to Disney Not a huge property Pool in the middle Big room with two areas, living area with sofa and coffee table, kitchen counter, sink, microwave, fridge and tv. Bedroom with 2 beds and bathroom. Shower had dispensers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner In room safe Safe area Free parking (we stayed at a hotel close to Disney last year, paid a hefty resort fee and $18 a night to park. Disney parking was $20 a day). If you do drive to Disney set your GPS to Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. They have a bus service to Disney. Things I didn't like: You could hear the people above you walking The breakfast area was very crowded, go early to get breakfast. The waffle makers need replacing and having more than 2 would be a great idea. They allow smoking by the pool Overall it was a good value and a nice room. We would stay here again.

    4
    « Great Value »

Pros: Free Breakfast. Free parking. Free wifi. Large pool. Free use of computers and printer. Front desk check in was very friendly. Nice, modern lobby. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had the king suite which included a room with a tv on top of a dresser, sofa chair, sofa sleeper, table w/ 2 chairs and a bench, microwave, refrigerator, sink, a second room with a tv, king bed, sofa chair with ottoman, and the bathroom. Breakfast options were: Fresh waffles, toast, English muffins, Danish, Muffins, Bananas, Red Apples, scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, orange/apple juice, milk, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Cons: The sofa bed in the suite is a little dated and the sleeper was thin. Bathroom was small and very dated. Grout in tiles showed stains and made it look unsanitary.

Excellent place to stay, close to Disneyland and other places. Great hotel. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful. The pool was clean and lots of fun. The pool area was fun to just sit at and relax.

    « Location was convenient »

The hotel room was good and spacious, it was like a hotel apartment having a kitchen section. It also offered also a nice buffet breakfast. The location was convenient as there was a stop here for the Disney Tour buses.

« Leisure Time in Orange County. »

I chose this Best Western as it is close, but not too close, to one of my favorite venues (Disneyland), and it was convenient to another venue that I planned to attend. My room was quite spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable. On Friday, it was convenient to enjoy breakfast in my room; but the outdoor seating area is also a nice place to sit down at, for the complimentary breakfast. When in Orange County, this particular Best Western is one I would recommend a stay at.

« Great Location and Staff »

The staff and the hospitality was excellent. When it came time for check in, I explained that my sister's family was staying here too. Evan, the desk manager at the time made sure to give us a room right next door!! Wow!! What great service and heart. Thank you!

    4
    « Excellent value »

Nice room with a separate suite bedroom for privacy from the kids at lower cost than a smaller regular room at other nearby hotels of similar quality. Staff was very attentive and helpful, particularly Nagee at breakfast (waffles, eggs. sausage, cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries). Full but same breakfast every day. Location off the main Disneyland strip without much else around for kids, and not walking distance to Disneyland. A shuttle bus ($5.50/day) runs every hour and was easy to use however. Disneyland tickets not available for purchase here like at some of the hotels on the Disneyland strip, so get tickets on-line at slight discount 24 hrs ahead of time or full price at the park. Overall the value, service, and larger room was much more preferable to us than paying more for less just to be on the main strip, which we'd probably want to avoid anyway.

    « Great stay! »

Had a great stay at this location. Looks like an office building that was converted into a hotel. The rooms were decent. The beds weren't all that comfortable but I've had worse. Front desk staff was nice. Would stay here again in the future.

    5
    « Amazing place! »

It's 3.5 miles away from Disney. It's a block or two from an outlet mall. The rooms are suites, they are very well maintained and HUGE! The hotel has breakfast included in the mornings and free parking and it's affordable. What could possibly be wrong? Love it! Will be staying here for future trips up to Orange County just based on the space and the cleanliness of the place. Highly recommend it.

    5
    « Very Satisfied »

Staff was quick and friendly when we had special requests. Although it is located near the interstate, it was quiet. The courtyard blocks the outside sounds, creating a comfortable environment. The quality of the breakfasts was better than I expected, freshly cooked and a good selection of items.

This hotel is clean and kept in good condition. It has a nice well maintained pool and spa area in a central court ya d. I did not use the pool but it looked Inviting. It,be clise to Disneyland, Angel Stadium, the Arrowhead Pind where the NHL Ducks play, the City outlets and Old Town Orange. It is a brood location near freeways to get to the beach and surrounding areas. It is also a good price. I recommend it. It is also close to Chapman ollege if you are checking it out.

« nice place to stay »

The lobby was nice, rooms were clean. I like having a suite, whereby there is a separate room with sofa, tv. The room we had also had a kitchen/breakfast table. The staff was fairly accommodating, but wouldnt bring a hair dryer to my room when the one in the room didnt work. I had to go to the front desk to get a replacement. The pool/hot tub looked nice, but we didnt get to use it. Free breakfast was great. There were lots of families staying at this hotel, and I would recommend it as a great family place to stay.

    « Very satisfied »

Consistently satisfied all my needs for hotel accommodation. Proximity to the location of my activities was reasonable. Each day I retreated to a comfortable, quiet and clean room. Breakfast was filling and tasty with more than enough choices. Staff was pleasant and keen on making my stay a wonderful experience, especially at breakfast and maid services.

« Good place to stay close to Disney »

We were there for Disneyland. It was much cheaper than staying closer to the resort, and so we just paid to park at a resort lot. Nice place, close to food and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was about what you'd expect, but better than some places with only donuts, muffins, etc. They had hot sausage, eggs, waffles.

    5
« Convenient for the Disney 1/2 Marathon »

Shuttle service drop off right at the race. Room was clean. Everything was in working order except for the difficulty of getting the bathroom tub plug to work for a good soak. It did work - but it was tricky! Good soak after 1/2 marathon race at Disney. Breakfast was very good as well. Eggs, waffles, oatmeal, sausage - all hot.

    5
« Spacious and very clean »

It's not 5 stars but has everything you need! Cleaning service was great and consistent, staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and mine was a suite room which had 2 queen size beds plus a separate living room that can easily sit 6 people. Breakfast buffet was basic but it's good enough, with good quality coffee. I would specially recommend this place for a family stay, it feels safe and causy and the location can't be better, close to Anaheim and walking distance to one of California's best factory outlets whee there were some interesting brands and nice restaurants.

    « BLOWN AWAY »

We received a suite! The room with 1 King and sofabed. Super spacious, perfect for kids. They LOVED it having their own space and we loved having our own room with double doors. Plenty of chairs, table, fridge, microwave, everything AND the kitchen sink! Awesome vanity and closet, huge mirrors. We will be staying here for every future trip to California. I'm so happy we found this. I read the reviews of many places as I'm sensitive to hard beds and we wanted not to have to worry about breakfast. The softest bed in a hotel I've experienced in a decade. Whoever the man was who makes waffles on Sunday morning deserves a raise! He was so happy and uplifting! Helpful, and awesome customer service. I read before that "the maids weren't pleasant". They do their job well and are nice enough. That's not in the job qualifications I'm sure. Thank you so much for FINALLY being a hotel perfect for families who deserve breathing room and a great breakfast spread for such a fair price!

« Friendly Staff, Nice pool and patio, Rooms clean, In process of updating other areas »

We stayed in the King Size Suite with pull-out bed/sofa. It's nice to have the King bed in a separate room with doors that separate it from the kitchen & living area (with sink, refrigerator, microwave). The bathroom and rooms were clean, but other areas of the hotel appeared to need some updating and sweeping (eg. elevator, hallways, etc). The breakfast bar had a "make your own waffle machine" and the staff person, Gaby, was so very friendly and helpful in making the waffles and keeping the breakfast area clean and running efficiently. There is an outdoor patio with fountain which is nice for dining in the morning and watching kids swim at night. It appears the hotel is under new management and attempting (little by little) to update/remodel the entire hotel. However, it was a great value for the location and the staff were very helpful. For example, I needed to print out an important document and they immediately helped me at the front desk. The front desk also offers toothpaste, makeup wipes, and extra blankets or pillows if needed. There are dispensers of soap and shampoo to save our landfills. There is a safe in the room to store valuables (one can use it at no charge). Thanks!

    « Disney trip »

Recently stayed at the BW plus Meridian. Great location for Disney. Hotel use to be a office building but it's been converted some time ago. Dated but clean. No surprises. Breakfast Is usual free food. Also close to lots of choices for dining and shopping. Use the ART bus it's 3 days of unlimited rides for $5.00 a person if your 55 or older. Picks up right at lobby and drops you at front door of Disney! Also has lots of other stops and routes.

« Good if not walking to Disneyland »

Not close enough to walk to Disneyland. But if you are already planning to use the ART Shuttle or park your car. The Toy Story lot is not far. Currently the value is good. I have not tried their wifi yet. Breakfast and Parking are included. Good beds. Though I always bring my own pillows, they have 2 types of pillows that might fit your preference. -Parking is pretty tight on space. -Breakfast, Parking, Wifi included. -good size mini fridge -large kitchen area countertop space. -Exterior facing doors are actually in a closed in hallway with Windows to the outside or facing the courtyard pool area. -good amount of indoor and outdoor breakfast tables. -good hot breakfast -TV viewing locations in the rooms are odd, but we didn't really watch much TV. -The beds are comfortable. Soft with support. I hate ultra hard beds.

« Perfect for groups and families! »

I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice, both for Disney trips. One of the draws was the option of having a suite, and both times (first 3 adults 1 child, second 3 adults) the extra space was much appreciated. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are very cozy after a long day in the parks. The first time we went, it was nice to be able to close the bedroom to allow the kid to get to sleep quickly while the adults chatted and watched TV in the living room. The breakfast they provide is also a great bonus, though it's pretty average in terms of quality. Another thing I love about this hotel is that part of their "go green" initiative (which I think is great), they have installed dispensers for lotion, body wash, shampoo, etc. I love that I have access to unlimited amounts of lotion and shampoo! If you're already driving to Disneyland (which we were since my friend has an annual pass) you can get to all the ideal parking lots on surface streets and avoid the freeway--though there normally aren't many people coming from that direction of 5 any way. On my most recent trip I got there a bit early and worked on my computer by the pool--very relaxing--and I even checked out the nearby outlets for lunch. Lyft fare from John Wayne was also very reasonable (<$20). There are some areas for improvement: the bathrooms are pretty small and there was some bad looking wall damage in the one we were in, though the parking is free and there are many spaces they fill up quickly during peak times, the interior design is a bit all-over-the-place and could do with some updating, and the overall finish could be improved. Overall, if you are looking for a great value hotel with room to spread out this is the place for you.

« Good location for business and leisure »

I travel to the LA area for business. This is a good location for working the Orange / Anaheim area. My family was with me for this trip. The suite rooms were nice for the extra space. They were close to shopping and Disney. The staff helped arrange transportation to both areas. The rooms have recently been remodeled.

My husband and loved that the rooms are enclosed around the pool in an atrium type setting, not on the outside or on one side of the hotel. Our teens could go down and swim and we could keep an eye on them. There is a patio area so we could lounge down there too without being right by the pool. The hotel was super spacious. We weren't on top of each other. The bedroom has separating doors so that the kids could get to bed early and my husband and I could lounge in the living room area without disturbing them. Breakfast was included and we thought it was a great perk. Not just continental. The distance was a little further to Disneyland than we thought but we Uber'ed into downtown Disney with no problem. We actually weren't in town for a Disney trip but I think the distance is well worth the comfort.

« Great for a Disneyland trip, just a "little too far" »

We booked a Disneyland trip a week before we left. Due to spring break, most hotels were very booked. Our AAA agent helped us find this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised! The distance from Orange County airport to hotel wasn't too bad, we used Lyft. The hotel itself is only 3 stories tall, and very open floor plan, where you're not inside a building. Our room opened to a hallway type of area that was covered, but air flowing through. We just had 2 queen beds, but we loved how big it was!! We usually stay at Disney hotels, and for a family of 4, hard to find places for 4 suitcases. We had no problems in this set up! When we walked in there was a living area with couch, dining table, kitchen sink. We put all our snacks in the kitchen area, bottles of water in the small fridge. There's a tv in this set up. Then in bedroom area another tv, beds, bathroom. Nice blackout curtain! The room had a nice a/c unit, so we slept comfortably, but the beds could use more blankets, they were pretty thin. (Due to having a room with a window for people to see, I brought some Disney decorations and hung them in the window). :) The pool area is the perfect size for a quick dip. We only did the breakfast buffet one time, it was perfect! It had waffles, eggs, meat, cereal, coffee, we sat outside in the sun, a waterfall is in the courtyard too, so it was pleasant. We did walk one day to the outlet mall. I thought I read it was closer, as if were across the street. It's about a 15 minute walk and at times with traffic, wasn't the safest. But, it was much bigger than outlet malls I've been to. We had Starbucks, shopped, lunch at Dave & Busters. Very fun. And.... the distance. This hotel is too far for walking to Disneyland. A couple of the days we called Lyft. That was fine, got to see all different types of drivers. However, one last driver was a little odd and he didn't drop us off at the downtown Disney area....he drove us up to guest parking in the parking structure! Ah!! So, we had to walk/tram as if we were regulars (defeats having a car take us). Anyway, we were so done with that driver, we just smiled and left. They do have a ART bus that comes by. One morning we took the bus. It runs every 20 minutes after the hour and you get to Disney about 20 minutes before the hour. The rate for the 4 of us was under $20 RT for the day, cash only. BUT, when it was time to come home, we got to our shuttle area at 10:20 pm, we wanted to make sure we would get on. The bus arrived close to 11, got us on the bus at 11 with hardly any people, but then we picked up another stop of people, got them first to their hotel, then to ours, think we were back home about 11:30-ish. It made for a long night, the Lyft would have been quicker. Anyway, if I did a good neighbor hotel again, I would pick this place again. But, bringing our stuff to the park to put in a locker makes for a long day, made me wish we were closer at a Disney hotel. The rate for our 5 nights would have been 1 Disney night! So, we were happy, and made a Disney vacation work for us. It was a great find.

« Great place to stay!!! »

The hotel was a great place to stay and will stay again. Staff was friendly and helped us find places to eat. The room was nice and clean!! Beds and amenities were great. If you stay here you are close to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. Breakfast was good too. Quite place to stay.

« Very Good Hotel for the Price »

Stayed here to visit some local colleges. The rooms are nice with a separate living room and small kitchen. Odd though that there were no dishes or silverware though it had a kitchen. The breakfast downstairs each morning was OK. There were waffles made while you wait, and steamer trays of scrambled eggs and link sausages. The sausages were greasy, but better once you squeezed them in napkins. The cinnamon next to the waffles was a good addition, however they just had it in an open container with a spoon which was not as good as if they would have had a shaker for more even coverage and less waste. There were TV's in both the bedroom and the living room, however the TV in the bedroom would come on by itself. Called the front desk and they agreed that it could have been the remote from the room next door, so I just unplugged it. Some caulking could have been redone in the bathroom, but overall it was very good for the price. Next time we would have gotten a room away from the icemaker. The HVAC does require a keycard in the slot by the door.

    « I'll be back again. »

I get the queen suite room for my family. The room is quite big even for 5 people. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful. There are a lot of hot food available i.e. egg, waffle, sausages. The staff was very helpful too. There is a outlet mall in walking distance. We had a very good time there.

« Traveling with my girlfriend »

We just have a wonderful weekend at this hotel, we used to rest, because we went to See a soccer game Chivas vs Leon from Mexico. This hotel is so confortable and relaxing, no noises, very clean, big rooms, nice bath tubs and some rooms had a integral kitchen just perfect if you don't want to lose time looking for something to eat out side, but to make your own meal! I like it so much!

    « Not Happy Experience »

Found dirty socks upon opening door to room, found penny in bed. No lotion in room or available at front desk. Decided to reduced my 3 nights to 1. No apology or mention of any of the above at checkout

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast. We were able to get to Disneyland within 20 minutes and started our day early. Very likely to stay here again.

    « Family getaway »

Came here with my family for a two day getaway to enjoy so-cal. Wanted something that would be centrally located and accessible to freeways. Found this little gem which was clean and very decent price. Front staff was friendly and courteous. Enjoyed my stay here. Will most likely stay again

« Nice place to stay for peace and quiet »

Although the guest upstairs from us had a child constantly running in the room all hours of the day and night, we've always had a great stay here. The management is rude but the rest of the staff is great.

    « Western Stay 1st Time »

Check-in was easy. I called a day before to ask about arriving late and was informed no charge as long as arriving anytime after 3pm to 8pm. Reasons for my stay here was mainly because of past and previous reviews about the breakfast and parking. This is a plus for me! However, I must warn you upon checking in you are required to sign a imprinted credit card slip with zero dollar amount. The receptionist also make a copy of your driver's license. I wasn't paying much attention if they made a copy of my credit card, but I was told that there is $100 fee for security deposit. I thought it was strange that I gave them my debit card and the receptionist said only my hotel charge went through but not my security deposit?? when i checked my account, the original credit card that I use show a pending charge even though I change cards. I suggest if you're going to stay here please make sure you don't get charge for something that shouldn't have been charged for. Anyways, you'll sign 2 additional papers also. Breakfast is served TH-F 6:30 to 9:30am and sat-sun 7-10am. We arrived on Wed so that was the time given to us. Room is clean, though I wish the pillows were a bit come comfortable to sleep on. Turning on ac/heater requires using your room key, which i thought was pretty cool. Location of hotel is good nearby stores and restaurants. Pool opens from 9am to 10pm. There's also a gym & laundry room.

We were promptly greeted and efficiently taken care of. The room was small but clean - all we really needed. Nice quiet sleep and excellent breakfast included with our stay. The staff servicing the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful. Wifi included.

« Never again! Pinesol solution for ants?!?! »

This is our 3rd time this year coming here and never had a problem till now. Horrible, rude customer service and we just checked in today. 1) Fridge did not work, no solution to the issue till tomorrow other then take a few of our things to be held in their office fridge 2) Mystery sock found from previous guest 3) Ants in the room coming through tub grouting, or lack there of I should say. Here's the best of it all, send someone to spray for ants with pinesol, yes folks, I said pinesol! Then tell your guests, no rooms to switch to till tomorrow and you cant check out either without paying full stay of 4 nights! So it gets even better, when the ants return, rude front desk agent says they have no other solution but to talk to the manager tomorrow. We ask for bug spray at least, sorry we don't have any, so we have to go get our own and made it well known to the agent who had no concern at all about a guest having to resolve their own issue? As a matter of fact be gave us directions where to get some, how kind. Upon returning from getting ant spray we asked when the manager would be back, he showed us very cleary that he this was not concerning to him at all but he did reply that he didn't know, just whenever she shows up?!? I'm in the hospitality business and thats purely a bs answer for sure. So off to build a bug spray barricade around everything in the suite go and suck up at least tonight. Guess we will see what mystery time she shows up and apparently we get to lose a day's vacation to deal with this! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with service is an understatement.

Great location, clean, good breakfast, free parking. This is our second time using Best Western for our Disneyland, Beach Vacation. Close to airport and other fun destinations. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, the kids loved the outdoor pool and décor.

    « new lobby »

It was a very nice surprise to walk into the beautiful totally remodeled lobby & breakfast area. They opened up a wall between them to give a much nicer appearance. It also gave more seating room to both. The addition of 3 new computers & a printer by the front deck was a nice touch. The ceiling to floor window in the breakfast area looking out to the center courtyard & pool area was beautiful.

    « Huge room »

Loved our stay at this hotel because the King suite was very large & clean. the staff so friendly, buffet breakfast tasty and the location was very good (near mall with many shops and eateries), all within our budget. The pool and spa looked inviting but we didn't have a chance to use it.

    « Comfortable Suite »

Our room was comfortable, with a great comfortable king bed and queen sized fold out couch for the kids. The hotel was near the Outlet Mall. We were able to take the shuttle bus for $5 adult $3 child roundtrip to Disney and avoid traffic and parking fees. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. They had eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal. pastries, muffins, toast, cold cereal, juice and coffee. The hotel was clean and the service was kind and courteous! I highly recommend this hotel!

    « Good Stay »

We stayed one night at this Best Western. Front desk staff was friendly and check in and out was fast. Breakfast was good, standard Best Western breakfast. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. The room had several little things that needed repaired and for some reason the TV volume would go extremely high on commercials, but besides that we had a good stay and felt it was a good value for what we got.

« LOCATED AROUND ALL THE MAJOR FREEWAYS IN ORANGE COUNTY »

I had the pleasure of staying here after searching many different Hotels in the Area. Very reasonable rate and the room was a pleasant surprise. The interior was very modern and the staff was very helpful. I was in a Suite and this allowed me lots of space to work at a real table and an area that was set apart from the sleeping area. I started out with a one night stay, but I had to stay another night as I could not finish all of my work in the area. The Staff was very helpful and it was one other thing I did not have to worry about. Nice places to eat near by and again, Very easy access to all the freeways for travel in every direction. If you are going to an event at the "Big A' or the Honda Center, This is a must stay......

    « Hidden gem »

This place is INCREDIBLE and clean! Very very clean! Almost too clean, the ONLY negative thing I came across was that the chemicals they used to clean the toilet was a little harsh on the tushy! I wiped it down with a wet washcloth and was good to go after that. I rather a very clean place than a dirty one! It was honestly a little scary driving up, the place was dark and looked nothing like a hotel. I walked in and was completely blown away by the decor. It was awesome and modern. The changing lights on the wall were a nice touch along with the glass elevators! The staff was friendly and hospitable from the second I walked in. I even got to check in two hours early. I wish I could take the bed home with me, it was the most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time! Breakfast was simple but tasty! There was plenty to choose from! I loved making my own yogurt parfait with all the extras they had to offer. The kitchen staff was so friendly, after my waffles were done cooking, one of the staff came to get it off the waffle maker and put it on my plate. The swimming pool was refreshing and the perfect temperature to take a late night swim at 9pm! The hot tub was very much needed after spending all day at Disneyland! It was actually HOT and not lukewarm like most other hotels. The courtyard with the fountain was peaceful and just beautiful day and night to take a breather from the day. Disneyland Park is about a 10 minute drive and the shuttle picks up right in front! So convenient! This is an outlet mall in walking distance that I would of loved to checked out but couldn't fit into my schedule. The whole surroundings felt very safe and quiet. You don't hear any street traffic! Even at night it is very quiet! If I didn't see all the people during breakfast I would of thought I was the only one staying here! I'm just in awe and so happy with this hotel and the price I paid. It was a steal! I've been hotel jumping the last few months to find the perfect place to stay as an annual pass holder and I've finally found THE place!

We have found when we stay at this Best Western it has always been a good experience. Excellent staff, friendly, well groomed, polite and helpful. The gentleman at breakfast is always smiling and helpful. A good way to start your day. We would recommend this hotel to anyone we know who is looking for a good place to stay in this area. Thank you for always providing a good experience.

    « Best Western Review »

Satisfactory overall with staff, hotel and room. It was just for the night but it was in a good location to the family we were visiting and it was within the price range of other similar hotels. We have stayed here in the past and will continue to stay when in the area.

    « Take a Second Look »

I rated this Hotel very good, however, when we first entered our room, the smell was horrible. It was, I think, a cleaning solution. The carpets looked dirty and we thought about leaving. However, after leaving the air conditioner on and purchasing room deodorizing spray, the smell eventually didn't bother us. The furniture was pretty warn and the living area sparse, but the beds were fantastic and the shower was heavenly. We were impressed with the dispensers for cream and soap and in the breakfast area, dispensers for plastic ware was impressive - keeping everyone from fingering it. The food average but with good weather, you could sit outside and listen to music. Also, there is no fee for parking which is nice! This hotel tries hard to accommodate.

« Great Place to rest and relax »

This is an excellent hotel to use for family and friends who might be visiting Disneyland. It is on the route for the bus to the park and is within walking district of a large mall. The suite aspect allows for a variety of friends to stay together. It is clean and comfortable. It is in the process of being upgraded and has a great staff who are willing to help in anyway possible.

« Good stay at this hotel »

    « room clealiness »

The walls and floor and bathrooms finish product were below average for cleanliness. Bathroom was just a room you see in third word countries. If you want to keep it that way at least leave some kind of shoes is the rooms.

    « Big and roomy »

The room was big and room for a family of 4. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the 2 TV's, the kids had one and use adults had the other. This place was picked because it is a great location to a lot of things in the area.

« Front Desk Staff Very Rude »

The front desk staff was very rude both on telephone and in person. And while the suite was adequate, it was disgusting to see shampoo and other goo running down the sides of the tub/shower. Would never stay at this property again. I realize that each Best Western property is individually owned and managed, but the management at this property seems very lacking

« All right. Suite was spacious. »

We were mostly satisfied with our stay. Stayed there 5 nights. Location is central for most of Orange County. We had a suite. Good size. Aged furniture and smelled of smoke. Family had another room that smelled OK. TV was hard to use without many channels. Breakfast was good. Nice to have outside space to eat. I would stay again but make sure our room didn't smell. Fancy way of using air conditioning was useless. Was supposed to turn off when we took the key but stayed on anyway. Therefore, we used more electricity than we otherwise would have. So much for being "green".

    3
    « OK »

Stayed at this location because of the lower rate. Could of used more lighting at bedside. TV Directory needs updating and premium cable was unavailable. Daily breakfast items were the same everyday: eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, apples & bananas, except danish and/or muffins for pastries and usual beverages. No microwave because of standard king room. No Guest Services booklet in room, only on phone handle. Liked the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispensers in bath and hand wash/lotion dispensers at sink. Will most likely stay at the Santa Ana location off Hwy 55 in the future (better breakfast items).

    « Large suites! »

Was pleasantly surprise with room! Very clean with separate living room, 2 tvs, microwave, fridge, large counter space, small dining table, couch and chair. Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows. Staff was friendly and Disneyland shuttle for $5 round trip was very convenient. Lots of restaurants close by. And a $6 uber ride to the outlet mall. Safe area. Would stay again!

« Excellent Hotel with Great Location .... »

The hotel was up to date, nice decor. It was close to the highway and lots of parking available. We stayed in a King suite and it was perfect. The housekeeping kept everything perfect. Nice choice complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! We were very impressed and would stay again!

    4
    « Adequate and Spacious »

The hotel was clean and the rooms large but sparsely furnished. We were staying with 2, 14 year old girls in a double queen room. Assuming this was a suite, the couch did not offer a hide-a-way bed and the four of us were crammed into 2 queen beds into one of the rooms while the other room sat empty. We asked for a rollaway but they were not available. Only King suites have the couch bed. The hotel lobby was undergoing renovation and appeared to be headed in a nice direction. Breakfast was tasty but really got old after the 3rd day. Would have been great if they had switched it up a few times per week. Overall a good stay with no issues. Would stay again.

« Wasnt worth the trouble »

Initially the pictures and review had me booking this hotel but very different when I arrived? The staff member I met at arrival couldn't help me in my assignment of room and didn't seem to care on top of the actual room problems> I stay primarily at Best Western and wont go back to this one.

« Excellent place with good deal »

If you have a chance go to Anaheim for Disneyland, I recommend you should stay at BW located at Anaheim Orange. It's nice, clean hotel with good price and great breakfast. Check out the price comparing with another hotels. I bet you will satisfied.

« Pretty good value near Disneyland, Conference Center »

This place was nice -- an easy trip with Uber. We had a good room to stay in, within walking distance of restaurants, etc. They people were super friendly. The whirlpool tub plug was broken which limited our use of it. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

    2
    « Not what I expected »

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay for a business trip. The lobby is very nicely decorated, but once you enter the actual hotel, it's awful. It used to be an office building and it shows. The room was dark and depressing, the floors weren't clean (hair on the bathroom floor, in particular) and the furniture was scuffed, scraped and run down. The free breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the rooms are large and the linens seemed to be clean and fresh.

    « Disneyland Vacay »

My original stay was for 18Jul to 22Jul but stayed an extra night because we were having a good time, my sister stayed at a different hotel but moved to here for 2 days after seeing our room, the breakfast was pretty good compared to some other free breakfast that other hotels offered, the staff was very friendly and always had a smile as though they were happy to see us, the beds was surprisingly comfortable. I guess my only complaint if you must find something to complain about is that the bath towels were a little hard but that's expected, the hotel had plenty of exits to the parking lot and the mall was just a couple blocks away that had bowling and video games and decent restaurants so we were never bored. See y'all soon because we will be back. Thanks Best Western Grizzo

« Hidden fees, unbending, and check your pillows »

I wish I could give it a zero star rating. Three reasons... !. It seems that if you book a room at this hotel through a third party vendor (Priceline, etc.) this hotel will add an additional "Resort Fee" to your bill. I've done some Internet research and the amount of this Resort Fee varies. My family arrived and was told by the front desk they would have to pay an additional $11.00 per day Resort Fee. This added significantly to the bill. Mind you this hotel is not really a resort quality hotel, but in further investigation I discovered that they charge the "Resort Fee" because the hotel is physically located in a resort area (Disneyland being a few miles away). There is a swimming pool at the hotel and there is a breakfast available but that's it for anything coming close to a resort. 2. My family asked on their check out day to stay two hours past the checkout time of 11:00 a.m. The flight wasn't leaving until the evening and we didn't want to have to sit at the airport forever. The front desk said that they would allow one hour but even one minute past that hour we would be charged an additional $40.00. They refused to bend any further. 3. Here's the whammy which really landed it down to the one star rating. On the last day of our stay my one son said that he felt something lumpy in the couch back cushion. He asked if he could check and see what it was. He found a bong. Yes, folks, drug paraphernalia inside the couch cushion! It was disgusting. Two issues with this: that obviously housekeeping never found it and that obviously this had been used as a smoking room. We paid for non-smoking and obviously didn't get it. When presented with the bong and the cushion the front desk said sorry and that was it. For all the grief we went through at this hotel and then to find drug paraphernalia and have it just brushed away was too much. We reported it to Best Western corporate and they offered us a $25.00 discount coupon off our next stay at Best Western. We did not accept it since we felt that was also the brushoff and we won't be staying at Best Westerns again. We tried on several occasions to talk to the manager and finally after several days did speak with her. Her solution was to offer to take one day free at this hotel on our next visit but we declined. Then she offered one day refunded from this stay which we would have accepted but she wanted to do it in a way that we felt was a bit underhanded to Priceline. We ended up declining that offer. We've just chalked this up to corporate not caring about drug usage in their hotels and this manager apparently not wanting Priceline to know about the trouble we had while staying there. I know of no other reason why the manager would offer to refund one days stay in such a weird way.

« Great 5 night stay with family!! »

Room was overall clean, and the price for what is included in the hotel and breakfast and location was perfect. Room was comfortable, cleaned everyday, swimming pool, and small jacuzzi. The pool area gets loud when we were there so rooms on the outside part of hotel might be quiter. The only thing was the room above us you could hear noises so try and get a top floor and the king bed suite.

« ONE OF THE BEST PROPERTIES EVER, Right off highway, Orange Co. »

By far one of the nicest properties we've ever stayed, in fact, we extended our two night stay to five nights! Literally right off highway, listed as Orange, CA, close to Garden Grove and Anaheim areas. #215 was 2 room suite with seating area and kitchen, including table, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave and sink. Living area included a large sofa, end table, coffee table, side chair, credenza with TV. Very spacious, clean and finely appointed. Bedroom with 2 Queen beds, spacious, clean, decorated nicely, wall mounted TV. Adjacent bathroom featured tub and toilet separate from vanity and sink which was nice for 3 of us getting showered. Large closet with safe inside. Property featured a lovely outdoor pool with whirlpool set amist lovely palms tree of the courtyard. Featured breakfast was eaten on the patio of the courtyard. Breakfast food was well above average. They even had a grab and go option, bottled water, fruit and granola bar. Coin operated guest laundry available. Staff was so helpful and didn't seem to mind changing bills for coins. $2 wash, $2 dry, $2 for laundry supplies. Nice, modern lobby with elevator for moving luggage, plenty of parking, we were able to park right outside our room since stairs were close. Frustrating hangers in closet would not stay on! It is old motel style with all rooms being outside but has been completely remodeled and all outside walls have been enclosed. I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Orange County.

« Reviews are not accurate »

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel. I was disappointed upon arrival. The lobby looks good and the pool area, but the interior of the halls and the room are grubby and outdated. The walls were dirty and the closet door was offtrack, broken and rusty. The staff was nice. Breakfast was o.k., but they needed more staff to keep up with demand.

A comfortable bed, , a clean bathroom with plenty of towels, a separate living room to lounge around in the evening. What else can one wish for? May be a microwave oven...... Location is great and Best Western Plus Meridian staff is courteous and pleasant. We very much enjoyed our stay.

« Not the best in the west, and not the worst »

I tend to stay at Best Westerns, Holiday Inns, and other chains on my way cross-country, as you're always sure to get decent rooms and clean sheets. More than that is frankly, just icing. This place is pretty good, the breakfasts are of the standard BW variety, nothing to write home about but "included" is always nice. It is close to all of the local attractions in the area and the Orange circle. Of note: there is a bit of a homeless population nearby, but they are relatively unobtrusive, unless waiting for the bus at the bus stop at this locations front entrance.

    « LOVE THE REMODEL »

I enjoy coming to this hotel every time I come to Disneyland. I enjoy the remodel that was done. I do miss the staircase but over all this really helps out the view of the hotel. I enjoy staying here as the staff in the kitchen make my stay very home style. The location and grounds are always kept clean.

« Great place to stay »

We had a great stay at this location. They had a shuttle service to Disney, we did not use this but did see this. We stayed here based on proximity to Angels stadium. The stadium is only a 5 minute drive away on City Drive. The breakfast staff are friendly and everything was presented as clean. If we ever visit the area again, this will be our first choice. Their parking is free and they have plenty of parking spaces.

    « Disneyland trip »

The Best Western was a nice hotel that was about 4 miles (5-8 minutes) from Disneyland. It was worth the drive not to have to pay the higher priced hotels in the area. The rooms were OK and the hotel staff was nice. Over all the stay was OK, I would have paid more for a nicer and closer hotel if you have the means.

Great location for Disneyland - shuttle service to/from Disneyland- close to freeways, outlets, restaurants - staff very helpful - suite had great space - breakfast was the usual nothing great - problems with room was moldy bathroom ceiling, tub drains slow, broken bathroom towel rack, carpet needed cleaning - noticed lobby was getting a facelift so I am hoping rooms will also receive a facelift

    « Great Stay »

Decided to go to Disneyland for a couple of days and booked a room here. What a great surprise this hotel was! The hotel was clean and breakfast was provided (basic eggs, cereal, toast...). Plus the staff was very friendly (especially Erika). We arrived before check in and they were very accommodating; we were even given a room upgrade! The only bummer is that we had to drive to Disney since the hotel isn't close enough to walk (we knew that ahead of time). But the cost of the Hotel more than made up for having to pay for parking. It is also nice that there were no hidden hotel or parking fees. If we ever need a hotel in Anaheim again, we will definitely stay here!

« Orange you glad you stayed here? Yes!?? »

We picked this hotel because of the price and proximity to Disneyland. It was a good choice. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice pool and courtyard, shuttle available to take you to Disney, spacious suites and comfortable beds.

    « Last Min booking »

This hotel has a "last minute" booking on the website which I havent seen on any other BW hotel. Big rooma, clean but undergoing renovation. I recommend a room facing the street. Rooms inside facing rhe pool are loud and can hear echoes. Beds are comfy and breakfast is standard.

    « Highly Recommended »

Great staff. Hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was a lot of noise and workers...but you could hear none if it in the rooms. Elevators were being fixed so it was confusing trying to figure out which ones to use. Breakfast and pool area are amazing. No regrets and would stay again.

« Decent Spot with Easy Access to OC Attractions »

I concur with Michael Z in terms of the room. Remodeling is still ongoing, check-in was a bit of a drag. My only criticisms of the room I had was that the carpeting felt funky, and the toilet/shower area was funky - the soap dispenser fell off the wall when I was showering. Although there were lots of channels offered on the TV, using the guide was ridiculous. I was on an inner hallway by the pool - it was very dark - and folks were in the pool after 10 - it was noisy. Breakfast buffet - chaotic, and not a good flow to the room. BUT YES to free wi-fi, and yes to free parking. These are major pluses in an over-priced market. Also, just a short drive to Disneyland, Angel Stadium, and the Outlets of Orange. Staff was friendly.

The stay was excelllent even though they were remodeling there new breakfast area they did provide the 2nd floor for breakfast. The new breakfast area should be done now. I"m sure it looks nicer now. I would go back again to stay.

    « Hidden inexpensive gem »

This place exceeded my expectations. I paid under $100 and received a suite! This is the nicest best western I've ever stayed at. The room was amazing. A living room, sink and cabinets, couch, double doors into the bedroom, huge bed, two tv's! The pool area was very nice and although the breakfast area was a madhouse with Disney vacationers there were decent food options and it was free. Parking was no problem and didn't cost extra like so many other places in the area. The wifi was the fastest I've seen in a hotel! This hotel is worth it's value and then some especially compared to the rip-off hotels two exits closer to Disney (resort fees, parking fees, breakfast fee's) You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

« 3rd party web booker? Read 3rd class citizen »

I booked a trip there for a holiday weekend through Priceline. They warn you, it's for 2 adults, and I was with my teenage daughter, whom I can't sleep in the same bed with. They would only book me in a one king bed room, that's it. No rollaway allowed in the room due to "fire codes." I went to see it, it was so small, you couldn't change your mind in there. I would have to walk sideways to get the bathroom. I sometimes use a walker, so that wouldn't work. I was told that when you book through third party websites, that's the only room you can have. Meanwhile, they were not sold out, had plenty of king rooms with more space that could fit a rollaway, but they told me no. I was willing to pay extra for a big room, but they told me $50 extra a night. Really? I spoke to the manager to try to get the room changed, and she refused as well. I went to call Priceline to find out what I could do, and while I was on the phone, they canceled my reservation. Just like that. No warning. Now, I was 250 miles from home and no place to stay. As a handicapped person, it was especially tough. They stink. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They list themselves as a 3 star hotel. It is really a motel, all outdoor corridors. 2 stars at best. And they charge a resort fee. Really? This place is no resort. I called corporate at Best Western and they agreed that my treatment was not acceptable. Priceline refunded my money, and Best Western corporate set me up in another place for a night for free. They assured me they would reprimand the hotel, but I doubt anything has changed. This was over six months ago, and I'm still so angry. I hope I have helped if anyone is planning to stay there and can still cancel.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

I stayed at this Best Western for a pre-surgery date. Hotel was very quiet, very clean, rooms were large, staff was great. Close to shopping, Anaheim Stadium, and UCI hospital. Would differently recommend this hotel. Oh yeah Mickey Mouse's house is also not that far away....

    « Excellent value »

Had to laugh at other hotels in the Disneyland area. They charged for parking, internet and breakfast and well over $100 a night. This facility was about four or five minutes further south and all the extras were free with a low room rate. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The location is easy access with lots of restaurants, shops and major attractions close by.

    « Nice »

We thought it was a great location and the Staff was very friendly. Comfortable beds. Lots of remodeling going on right now but they try to keep things clean while working. It was a bit noisy between 8am-5pm.

    3
    « Just ok »

Not impressed. Clean but beat up furniture. Bathroom vent fan like a diesel bus, but didn't refresh air. They are renovating lobby, so a mess inside. Super thin walls (and ceilings) so I heard every bump, thump and shower. I realize it's close to Disney, which accounts for the high room rate for what you get. I'll try a smaller place or Ayres Hoyel next time.

    « Accomodations »

This hotel is located close to all attractions like Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm. It's a very quiet area, serves continental breakfast, staff are friendly and accommodating. Also the crystal cathedral is close by.

    « Very friendly staff »

Attractive hotel with very attentive staff. Clean, attractive room. Bathroom a little outdated - but clean. Breakfast better than many other hotels I have stayed at. I liked the energy saving program they have instituted at this hotel. When you leave the room, the heat/AC automatically changes to energy saving mode. Seems like a good idea.

    « Great stay! »

This is the third time we have stayed here and will be back next time we are in the area. The large suites are perfect for our family of four. The breakfast is a nice amenity. My daughter loves the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub! Everyone is very friendly and helpful here.

    4
    « Decent for Disney »

If you're looking for a cheap stay close to the outlets and Disney, you found it here. If you want luxury and top shelf amenities, look elsewhere. My family and I stayed here for the runDisney Tinker bell Half Marathon Weekend and found this hotel to be overall decent. I rented two rooms, one double queen and one vip king suite with the whirlpool tub. There were some things that would make me consider staying elsewhere. I didn't see any new renovations as advertised, the hotel looked a little old and run down by the heavy tourism. Upon checking in the King suite, I found a used tissue behind the bedside table so I don't think housekeeping goes over the top in cleanliness, this was proved true when the next day the soap residue from my bath wasn't cleaned. The hotel pictures are deceiving as the bathrooms were extremely small and when asked for room with a larger tub, front desk staff said the tubs were all the same. I chose this hotel for a spa bath and one of the jets in the very small jetted tub didn't work and the shower head was broken so you could only use one setting. I didn't bother asking for a new room because I didn't want to uproot my family and pack everything up. The queen room wafted a musty odor every time you entered so bring some air freshener if you can. Breakfast left something to be desired, but I have to say the gentleman working was amazing. I hope the managers give him a huge raise and hire some one to help him, it was very busy and he did everything from making the waffles, clearing the tables, and refilling the stations all on his own. I think management should recognize and reward his work as well as shell out some money and hire additional staff. Would I stay here again? Probably not. If you're looking to cut corners and save some money for your stat, this hotel is not a bad choice.

    « Spacious Rooms »

I have stayed here twice while visiting my daughter at Chapman University. The rooms are very clean, spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast is great! Something for everyone. There are a lot of families who stay here visiting Disneyland, so you can hear kids running and yelling-not a big deal.

    « We would return! »

Clean and safe are my two biggest concerns and that's what we got. We stayed here 4/24 - 4/27 for a trip to Disneyland which was a 10 minute car ride away. Parking was free and plentiful. The grounds were neat and clean. We arrived at 1:00 AM and were greeted warmly. The room was spacious and clean. The tub and toilet were in a very small room that opened up to the spacious sink area. Didn't love that but being it was a suite we were able to close the double doors to the other bedroom for privacy. There was a safe and fridge/kitchen area. The free WiFi worked great! The beds were very comfortable but the pillows weren't. They were way too firm. We didn't ask for replacements so I don't know if other styles were available. There are shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower, but unfortunately our conditioner was empty so check them before you get in. There is a soap dispenser on the wall near the sink and bars of soap are also provided. The free breakfast was good. Eggs & cheese, sausage, waffles, cereals, bread & English muffins for toasting and whole fruit. Juice, milk, tea (with honey!) and coffee. We did not like the mini pastries/muffins but everything else was fine to fuel our bodies until lunch at Disney. Plenty of seats indoors as well as outdoor tables right outside the breakfast room. We didn't notice until we checked out, but it seems they offer you a sack of fruit and bottled water to go for your daily adventure! The AC worked great and we had no issues with hot water. We did not get a chance to use the pool but the area looked pretty with palm trees and lighting. We had a suite on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. We were not charged a resort fee as we booked directly with the hotel and our bill at checkout was exactly as I expected. Check out was quick and painless. We would likely return!

    « just a few problems »

one morning several guest all had cold showers and another night a few people were making noise in the pool after hours. It would be nice if they put a ramp at the back entrance to help in navigating luggage and carts. The bed was comfortable. There were several ice machines and a good machine for filtered water near the front lobby.

    « Very Pleasant Stay ! »

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Inn & Suites on 4-29 to 5-2, 2016, trip to Disneyland with family. Shopping and many dining options nearby. Hotel grounds are very clean and nicely landscaped. Pool area clean.Personnel at reception and in the breakfast room were polite and professional, greeted us with smile. Breakfast was a plus, it was a full breakfast as opposed to it being just donuts/pastries and coffee, good for us as my husband and I are diabetics. Kudos to the breakfast room personnel, super nice !!! Room was big, very, very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, some soft, others firm, good lighting in room. Nice sized closet. Spacious big living room with a sofa, chair and another TV. Plus-besides the kitchen having a refrigerator, there was a full sink and plenty of counter space, good for those that want to prepare a light meal. Table with 4 chairs. Double doors close off the living room and bedroom. Big fluffy towels in bathroom. Also stayed here in 1-2016, would definately stay here again !

    « Affordable Disneyland Accommodation »

My daughter and I stayed here as a Hotwire hotel and whilst it was a long way from Disneyland, it was still excellent accommodation. The hotel has a lovely lobby, free parking and friendly staff. The rooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but as it was free, you couldn't really complain. The hotel is really close to the Outlets which we loved! The ART bus picked us up for a quick ride into Disneyland. If you are looking for a hotel away from hustle and bustle of Disneyland, this is a great option. The only minor complaints are that the pool is in the centre and right out the front of the room and despite it being winter, we had people swimming outside and smoking just outside our room, which wasn't very pleasant.

« Great alternative to Anaheim »

I was looking for a little cheaper stay on this visit to Disneyland. I found this hotel in Orange and wasn't sure how convenient it would be to the park. It is only a few exits up from where I usually stay and I was pleasantly surprised. Easy on and off from the freeway, and a very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Wonderful hot breakfast with freshly made waffles. I would highly recommend this as an option to the higher priced hotels near Disneyland.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

The place was very clean and the staff were great, good choice I will stay here again at my next visit....plenty of parking and secure, I'm glad I picked this place, the freeway is just one block away so it made it fast and easy to get back on the road again.

    « RECOMMENDED »

We stayed here a couple of days ago. Our room was clean and comfortable and the courtyard was so appreciated after our long day. Lovely fountain and pool. But what I want to mostly relay is the staff who went above and beyond for us from helping with charging our phone ( left our charger at home) to the assistance to help with the AC. And a high five to the man I think " Nevy" for helping me grab a quick breakfast on the way out. Well done and I recommend this hotel.

    2
« Not a good place to stay »

Not a good place to stay, found a roach and the AC was not working. I called them twice and their so called "energy saver" AC did not work. I was not impressed at all. I do not recommend staying at this specific location. I'm not sure how the others work.

    4
« Great place to stay »

My husband and I stayed here when we went to Disney. It was a great choice. The breakfast was pretty good (eggs, waffles, etc); it was plenty to fill your stomach. Also, for only $5 per day/person, you could ride the ART to/from Disney, which was very convenient. The bed was pretty comfortable, so I would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Good Job »

This is a good place to stay, value per dollar is great, I had a 2 room suite and good internet connection was fast enough to actually do some work with the computer. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in and it looked like they had a nice breakfast all-in-all I will stay here again.

    5
« Nice large rooms and comfortable beds »

Location is close to a lot of things in LA/OC area. Get the suite with a separate living room/wet bar area for more space. Breakfast is pretty good too. The courtyard area is nice with some palm trees, tropical feel. The rates vary almost every week so check back for better rates on their website. Close to the Outlets at Orange which gave us something to do with the kids.

    4
« Home away from home »

My husband and I choose to stay at this location 4-5 times a year just for a mini vacation. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, nice court yard, great shuttle service. Usually the staff is very nice and friendly. However, this past stay the check in man was not friendly at all and our room that we always reserved was not saved for us this time.. We are considering changing to another hotel location because of our last experience.

« High quality hotel at affordable price »

Stayed at this hotel one night on business and got a great night's sleep. Separate living and sleeping area with mini kitchen. Hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage, toast) and pastries, cereals and fruit. Nice and helpful staff. Nothing overly fancy, and definitely in need of some TLC, but a nice hotel at a good price.

    1
    « Way below expectations »

This hotel was way over rated. They charge a resort fee. To allow them to sell there rooms cheaper. Beds weren't very comfortable and the rooms were in desperate need if remodeling. Bring room freshener. The staff was less than helpful. Breakfast was unedible, there was a line for the toaster! The front desk was left unattended for more the 10 minutes during checkout time

    3
« Not what it used to be but better than most »

I have been coming back to this property for over a decade. The reason , value! A large Queen suite, two beds, two flat screen tvs, pull out couch, refrigerator, micro wave for less than a Disneyland hopper pass. Add in the saving of no fee for parking, free breakfast with wifii and its hard to say no to reserving a room. Close to freeway on and off ramps and you can be on your way to any location in So Cal. 5 minutes to an Angels game, 10 to Disneyland and 30 min to Newport or Huntington Beach.

« Not worth the money I payed!! »

I went to this hotel paying quite a bit because with two kids and staying in a hotel for 11 days I wanted to be able to cook so I took a room with a full kitchen but only a cookie sheet and a pizza pan where there to use for oven. They had no oven mitts and when I asked the front desk they I was told people don't cook and didn't even offer to get me any so i had to go out and buy them and cooking dishes for the oven no dish cloths was told to use hand towels. We had to ask them to change the sheets and the cleaning of the room was below average. Where we parked out back for all the time we where there garbage like bags and cans had not been picked up looked disgusting and filthy.

    « Nice Hotel »

One thing is the rooms are large and can accommodate a family of 5. Second our room was clean. Third the breakfast is average however make sure you grab an apple to eat later. Fourth the location is good not too close to Disneyland and close enough to the Outlet Mall. Fifth the staff is friendly and the service was good for us. Overall we felt it was a nice hotel.

    « COMFORTABLE STAY »

My husband and I are annual pass holders and go often to Disneyland. We have stayed at a number of hotels that are closer to the park, but our best experiences have been at BWP Meridian Inn & Suites. Our room is clean and the bed comfy, the hotel staff always go out of their way to make sure your stay is nothing but excellent!! We have decided to make all of our future reservations here for future visits.

    « Theft »

This was my 3rd time staying at this location. The first two times were great! location, breakfast and large rooms all check the boxes for what my family needs. This time my room was much smaller and the hotel was booked so there was no room change but what really made my decision to never return, was there blatant disregard and not caring that the chamber maid had stolen our clothes ! they were there before Breakfast and gone when we returned! Not one person that worked there or management cared to do anything about it!

« Amazing Hotel, perfect for Disneyland »

The place is really beautiful, the receptionist was very kind and helpful, he immediately told us how tho reach Disneyland for the next day and he sold us the ticket that cost 10$ a/r. He had been very kind also when we checked out because he kept our luggages for half day. Room: the room was amazing, really big, clean. The sink of the bathroom was in the room separate from the bedroom obviously and the wc and shower was in the proper bathroom. All was very clean and they gave us a lot of shampoo and shower gel. Our room was near the pool and we didn't hear any noise during the night. The wifi worked quite well even if we don't have a perfect signal, but you can have it just outside. Amenities: the pool was really nice and big and one was open until midnight if I remember correctly. The outside of the restaurant is in a sort of square with a fountain in the middle, that I found it quite relaxing. Breakfast: really nice and good breakfast that has a lot of typical American food, but fresh (pancakes were cooked in front of you). Location: the hotel is near an highway, but 5 minutes walking you can reach a very nice and economic restaurant that do bbq. Also 15 minutes away there is an outlet with very good brand if you want to do some shopping. Advantages: good location, nice hotel and very clean, 20 minutes from disneyland by bus, that stop every 15 mins at the hotel and cost 10 $. Disadvantages:none.. even if have the sink out from the bathroom is strange for me, but I found it very comfortable.

    « Outdated and noisy »

We've stayed here once before but got a suite for $89 when the hotel wasn't full. This time we got a small room for $132 with a full house. The room smelled of chemicals when we arrived, the A/C unit was VERY loud and so were the neighboring units. The doors slam loudly, and you can hear everything going on around you. The food was just average and never is varied. After walking around the room in bare feet for about 20 minutes and then taking a shower, dirty footprints were evident.

« Great Value for Anaheim Convention Center »

A quick Uber away from the convention center gets you to this quiet all suite hotel. My room was huge, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was hot. The gym isn't the best so I just worked out in the sunshine in the courtyard.

    « Good value »

We stayed here for 5 nights during July 2015 and had a comfortable stay. No problems whatsoever. The location is close to the freeway and served well as our base. The breakfast selection was plentiful and hearty! The gentleman that was serving the waffles was super kind and friendly. He made a lot of effort to keep the guests happy as I can see he was also super busy running around tidying and replenishing food. The breakfast area was large and even opens up to an outside patio where the pool is. However, as expected, it gets super busy so plan to go earlier or towards the end if you are not in a rush. Free wifi and parking was provided.

« An excellent hotel in a great location »

This is the second time I have stayed at the Best Western PLUS Meridian Inn & Suites. It is ideally located for my purpose and so convenient to get to. Staff at the check-in/out are very pleasant and efficient. The in-room wifi is excellent and the included full breakfast is very good with lots of choices and two people on staff during b'fast hours, keeping the different food items replenished and the room clean and neat. I found the hotel clean and very pleasant, with a lovely courtyard area. The bed was comfortable with especially nice bed linen. I would stay there any time I was in the general area.

« Large, comfortable rooms at good value »

We are frequently in Orange County visiting family. This property will become our new first choice for these visits. The price point for a very large, comfortable and well appointed suite was perfect. It's location was great for access to multiple freeways. It was near decent restaurants, Anaheim Stadium, and Disneyland. The usual breakfast buffet had some upgraded options.

« Horrible front desk staff »

If you hate having your time wasted and important business guests inconvenienced then do not stay here. Horrible front desk staff. I had a part of 3 rooms booked here. Important guests for a company meeting. They terribly mismanaged the booking process and made us look bad in front of our VIPs as a result. We had to call 3 times to fix the problems and they would not help us due to "policy". Apparently taking care of customers is not one of their policies. We had to call the main Best Western customer service number to handle our issues. Terrible - will never stay again.

« Americana, very basic and not exactly the Best in the Western choices.. »

BEST WESTERN MERIDIAN REVIEW I stayed here to attend a convention a few miles away when hotels in the convention area were booked full. This area has Anaheim Convention Center, Angel Stadium, AND Disneyland, so it becomes quite populated! The Best Western is a tribute to cheap American hotels everywhere, except for the "cheap" part due to the density of venues mentioned above, and definitely not the "Best" part of the name! Is this really the Best they can do?? Everything in this hotel screams out cost savings, and "We don't trust our patrons" sadly, although I did get the impression that some of the employees are trying to please. They just have a difficult set of parameters to work within. The room was large and furnishings acceptable. The bed was actually comfortable and linens/towels good quality. Room was clean. There is a pseudo-kitchen in the suite with a mini-fridge and microwave, however not a single spoon, fork or knife are supplied. There is a mini coffee-maker with packets of cheap coffee, powdered creamer and plastic stirrers. Everything is plastic, bolted down or unbranded, as this hotel chain must be a huge in-bulk buyer of institutional supplies. Not even a "Do Not Disturb" sign is provided in the room. There was no channel guide for the TV but at least they did have nice TVs, digital cable and HBO. No amenities are supplied other than soap/shampoo stuff in dispensers on the wall of the bathroom, shower. No rug in bathroom. Water flow in the hotel is super loud as is the heater/air-conditioner in the room, and I often heard the folks upstairs walking and running their water in my room. Water flow on faucets is turned down to a trickle! Yes, I get that there is a drought, but 15 sec to fill up a glass of water seems excessive. The shower at least had enough pressure. Breakfast was an homage to processed foods and disposables! The only organic material in the dining room was a milk dispenser (far from coffee machine), a tray of green bananas and some yogurt. There were packets of "butter chips" near the eggs, but none near the toast station (and no honey). Everything else was processed. Eggs, cheap sausage, waffles, cheese, instant oatmeal, and of course cereals. Even the paper cups in the dining room were wrapped in plastic! The plastic silverware could barely handle spreading strawberry jam on taste without snapping in two. They do have a nice pool/outdoor patio area, but I did not get a chance to try it. Free Wi-Fi worked quite well and I was able to watch a movie on internet. Access point outside my room fortunately. For basic accommodations, the Best Western fits the bill, except that I'd expect to pay half that bill for this level of quality. It is somewhere in the 2.5 star range. Location may demand the higher rates (or my event did), but this review rates quality, not pricing in comparison to similar hotels worldwide.

« Rest and relax in comfort »

This hotel is an excellent choice for a vacation get away to Anaheim. The two room suites are comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. The shuttle to Disneyland is inexpensive and runs on time. Families and groups will enjoy the comfort of a large room, good breakfast and nice recreation area.

    « nice, affordable stay »

Stayed here while a group of us went to Disneyland. The price was good for such a roomy suite, good breakfast, lovely grounds, etc. Even though we were quite a distance from Disneyland it was a very nice stay. There were 5 of us, all adults, and it was nice to have the queen suite.

    5
    « Excellent Staff »

The desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast staff were excellent. I specifically commend the breakfast staff for their dedication, excellent customer service and cleanliness. The location was a bit difficult for us to navigate from but it was centrally located.

    2
    « Disappointed »

Suite was nice size but we were a party of 3 and no blanket was provided. When front desk was called about this issue they stated there was no logical reason for this but could not offer. Housekeeping did not show up twice during a 4 night stay. Carpet in the suite was dirty. Wouldn't recommend this property.

    4
    « Pleasant Experience »

We stayed in a suite during our visit. There was a refrigerator in our room which is always a plus for us. The couch and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast was good but the dinning area became very crowded and it was posted in the dinning room to NOT take food to your room. There are dinning tables in the outdoor patio area but it was a chilly outside. They should add some outdoor heaters. They would be nice because the patio is right near the pool. Overall I would recommend staying here. We enjoyed it!

    5
« Best of the Best »

They have the friendliest staff. We always stay in the VIP or Executive room. The room is like a home away from home. Spacious, 2 rooms, 2 big TV's. Wet bar, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer. Very, very comfortable bed. Spa Jacuzzi tub is especially exceptional. We sometimes stay for a romantic get away. It is close to Orange Outlets Mall. Close for movie watching, shopping, and dinning. We sometimes stay for a trip to Disneyland, we sometimes stay for a trip to Knot's Berry Farm. The location is in the middle of it all. But the best part of staying there is the amazing staff!

    « What a Disappointment!!!! »

Although we have stayed at this hotel several times in the past during our visits to Disneyland, we found the hotel unsatisfactory this visit. Before we arrived, my account was charged for the room. The problem was that I wanted to use a charge card for the room. It took several days, after paying for the room, for our checking account to be refunded. I found this a bit disturbing. We had three parties staying at the hotel and had requested that we all be near each other on the Best Western website. Not only were we not near each other, we were on three different floors. When we arrived in our room, it was clean. However, it had a strong chemical odor. I had to buy room fresheners just to stay in the room. The biggest let down was the breakfast. In the past, the breakfast has been okay. This time the breakfast was terrible. The coffee was even bad. None of us wanted to even eat the free breakfast. Although we have stayed in the hotel several times, we all agreed that it would be our last time.

« High hopes, but a few too many misses »

Based on some of the great reviews I had high hopes that this would be a great stay. Sadly, it didn't work out that way. We booked initially through a pre-paid site, then added a couple of extra rooms booked directly through the hotel. That was a problem. When we arrived, they didn't know how to treat us - with respect, or as P****line scum. Sadly, scum is how we felt after check in. We had requested 2 beds per room - mysteriously, that request was lost. Then I was told they were sold out. Then I was told there were "upgrades" available for $30 room/ per night. Typical shakedown of pre-pay customers. It was a night and day difference between the rooms booked direct and the pre-paid rooms. Tiny vs. spacious. Not happy at all at arrival. A few more things were not as hoped for. Right outside our room was an smoking ashtray/tower thing that we had to move - it was literally 3 feet from the door with smoke pouring from it. Nasty. Breakfast was - bad. Really bad. Stale pastries, runny oatmeal, rubber eggs and undercooked sausage. There were some bight spots. Housekeeping was on its game, and they were accommodating when we needed to modify the reservation on one of the "booked direct" rooms. It's also a nice layout and a very convenient location. One more thing, Anaheim in general was slammed with visitors this year over Christmas break - this hotel being no exception. This hotel stay didn't ruin our trip, but can't say it added many positive memories.

« reasonable choice for disney »

this hotel is not walkable to disney but there is a shuttle service for 5 dollars per person round trip that runs once an hour that takes you right to disney and back, it stops at 3 other hotels on the way but in all its about a 15 minute ride. we took a super shuttle to the hotel, cost 35 dollars for 2 people, very reasonable. the hotel itself has everything you need, including free wifi, free breakfast and a nice outdoor pool, there is an outlet mall about a 5 minute taxi ride away. there is very little right by the facility, seems to be a business area. rooms are decent size, clean, big bed pillows were very hard, hotel needs better pillows, but otherwise if you are going to disney, and you can get a good price, this is a fine place to stay since you are not in the room that much anyway, if you want to walk to disneyland, stay at the park plaza best western which is across the street.

    « Great value »

We went to Disneyland on a tight budget for Christmas. This was a perfect room for our family. We had 4 adults a 2 small kids. Large and spacious for the kids to play and run after long days in the stroller! Price could not be beat!! FREE PARKING!! FREE BREAKFAST!! We would suggest sending someone down to get breakfast and bring it back to your room. It's very busy and not much seating. Staff is very helpful! It is right off a busy road but we felt very safe!! We will defiantly stay there again! Only About a 10 minute drive to Disneyland. Great Outlet mall close by and In and out is really close! One of our favorite restaurants was minutes away, Who Song and Larry's!! OMG so good! Thank you everyone there for helping make our trip so affordable and comfortable!

    « Spacious room! »

For a couple with two teens, the room offered enough space and good wi-fi connection to keep everyone happy. We took the master bedroom and the kids slept in the living room on the pull out sofa bed. We each had our own rooms. We would stay again!

Whenever I go to Southern California, I always stay at the Meridian Inn & Suites. Always clean and the staff extremely helpful. Not far from Disneyland. Pillows, pillows & more pillows, but one is my absolute favorite and every room has had at least one of these pillows! Highly recommend for singles and families.

« Great Service and Value for the Money »

I have stayed at this Best Western PLUS property multiple times when in the area. It is a great value, but what makes it a repeat destination is the staff. They are very nice and extremely helpful. The rooms are nice enough, though the bathrooms in some rooms could use some updating. I will often stay at the Best Western Meridian Inn & Suites when I travel to Disneyland. It is close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to get away from all the activity of the parks at the end of the day for a relaxing evening. The breakfast is adequate, with a mix of hot and cold items. It appears to be the same every day, which can get old if you stay multiple nights. But, it is far better than many "free hotel breakfasts" I have experienced. I will stay here again when in the area.

    « Quality Stay & Great Value »

The location may not be close to Disneyland but they have a free shuttle so the distance is worth it. The value was great for the quality stay we received. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing was dysfunctional, everything worked. The lobby was inviting. The breakfast was perfect to fuel our day. Each staff member was very pleasant and cordial.

    « Great rooms »

Very good rooms. The beds were amazingly comfortable for a hotel. Driving to Disneyland is less than 15 minutes with easy access even during rush hour. We were on the 3rd floor and the hotel only has 2 elevators and one of them were broken. As I needed the work out it was no big deal and I am sure they will have it fixed soon.

    « Impressive Stay »

Although this was a last minute decision, I was very pleased with my choice. Since I checked in late and had to leave early, I can't rate too much, but upon check-in, was greeted by a helpful and friendly staff which processed me in quickly. The parking was a little tricky as I was towing a trailer with a full size truck, but they informed me of the best places to park the rig. Room was large, split with the bedroom/bathroom separated from the 'living room/kitchen area' which I don't see in many motels. Although I cringe over worn out king beds, this one was extremely comfortable and made for a very relaxing night of rest. Round tables with umbrellas outside next to the pool was an added bonus for me as I 'nuked' my dinner and went outside to eat in the cool air. All areas clean and well maintained. Checkout early in the morning was also a breeze with the staff. I look forward to returning when working in this area again.

    « Great Family hotel »

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and would recommend this to you. It has a great family atmosphere. the prices are also very reasonable. It is also close to everything (stores, mall, gas stations, restaurants).

« Terrible Place to stay »

Terrible place to stay. Employees are rude, they lie to people to get you to book then when they admit they dont offer the services they tell you its your problem guess you shouldnt have stayed here. They do not offer the ammenities they say they do. The staff is not friendly and the managers here have an attitude problem. The place is turning trashy and showing wear. Run from this place, so many more options out there!

    « Close to Everything »

We stay at this property whenever we are in So Cal. It's close to our daughter, freeways, restaurants and shopping. We like it because when we travel with our grandsons, they have their own TV. When we travel without them, we have a sitting area other than the bed.

    « Large rooms »

Stayed here on our anniversary! Room was very spacious! Breakfast was included and the host was very friendly and professional. Made sure everything was fresh. The only thing was that it didn't have many eateries close by. Did visit disneyland while we were there.

« Very reasonably priced hotel with a short drive to Disney »

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for Halloween weekend. We had Disney tickets and planned to go to the parks each day of our stay. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and efficient in checking us in and out. There was free breakfast served from 6-10. There were a variety of choices for breakfast and it was all very good. There is free parking, and there isn't a bad spot in the lot as far as proximity, which was much appreciated when we came in at 1 a.m. after a full day at the parks. The room was clean and had all the essentials. Everything we used was in great condition. The hotel is right off the freeway, with a 10 minute drive to Disneyland. The area is also very quiet and free of a lot of traffic, both pedestrian and cars. Immediately in the area are a shopping center and restaurants. We had a delicious lunch at BJ's and were able to catch a game one day. Overall, we thought this hotel was perfect for our needs. It was reasonably priced (under 90/night), in a nice location, and the service was excellent.

« I really enjoyed the spacious suite, GREAT VALUE »

Seriously, the sub 100 I paid for night got me a nice one bedroom suite, a substantial living room with sofa and kitchenette. TRY FINDING ANY HOTEL NEAR DISNEY FOR THE SAME PRICE VALUE. I dare you! I mean, yes the ART line leaves much to be desired but that's not the hotel's fault. Super friendly, and the homie that makes the waffles in the morning, he's super nice and friendly. GOOD BREAKFAST

    « Very nice place »

For the money, I thought it was a very nice place. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable. I found the breakfast to be more than adequate. There was a was a variety of either hot or cold items available to be enjoyed. The staff were excellent. They were very helpful, friendly and courteous. I'll stay there again the next time I go to Orange.

« Great place to stay »

At every turn the staff was going above and beyond in service. Staff was outside to greet returning guest from Disneyland. Breakfast was plentiful. Rooms allowed space to stretch. Open concept courtyard allowed nice meeting location. Will stay again.

« Too too far from Disneyland »

I will say the hotel is nice and the people that work there are probably the nicest, friendliest people I've encountered at a hotel, but it is far from Disneyland. You're not close to anything. It's surrounded by office buildings and there aren't any restaurant within walking distance. It is close to the outlets at Orange, but I didn't feel safe walking there with my family. The shuttle runs every hour but at other hotels we've stayed at, shuttle runs are every 20 minutes. This one is every hour because it's so far. I stayed here through hotwire for seven nights and although I said there were three adults they gave us a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. My daughter had to sleep in it and got a bad backache from sleeping there for so many nights. I called the hotel to see if we could get a room with two full or queen beds and they wanted to charge $53 more per night. Some people like staying far from Disney, and if that's the case with you, then you'll enjoy it. Otherwise find a different place to stay.

« Room was good! The rest, meh... »

We stayed at this hotel to go to the 2 Disney parks. The room was good. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Pretty good insulation from the rooms around you. However--the staff wasn't great. Not very friendly in their customer service practices. Also, skip the free breakfast. The breakfast and outdoor seating area is overrun with rude adults and children trying to get food before going to Disney. Start your day stress-free; skip the free breakfast!

« Very nice and accommodating »

We had to drive to Disneyland as the hotel was not close enough to easily walk to but I think that is why the price is a little lower and the quality is a little better. Its only about a 3 minute drive to the park and season pass holders get free parking. The pool and hot tub was excellent and very relaxing after a hot day of park hopping. Breakfast was above average and started us off without having to shop for breakfast spots.

    « great stay »

Love the options for suites. It is nice to have a little privacy from the kids while they are trying to rest and you are still awake. Very clean, close to shopping and food. Safe area and lots of parking. Nice service staff.

    « Changing of owners »

The change of owners was felt by us. No one working there seemed to care about our stay there. We had ants in the bathroom #337, our room didn't get cleaned twice, due to a paper error. When we checked out, there was so thank you for your stay or anything.

    « Very Pleased »

We were very pleased with the Room and the total atmosphere of the hotel. The courtyard was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have parking included in the room cost and also enough spaces for a guest of our to park, which was an issue for us when we wanted to visit someone else at a different hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone and stay here again.

    « Very nice stay »

We were able to check in a little early, thankfully, as we had a long travel day. Rooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Good shower! I loved sitting out in the patio area adjoining the pool area. Even though I was across from the pool, my room was very quiet, when I was there. We were there for a Disney trip. The ART bus stops there but we didn't use it. Very nice breakfast, enjoyed eating outside on the patio, although there were quite a few tables inside. I would definitely stay again. For those wanting to shop, it's right next to The City at Orange.

    « 14 Miles to Huntington Beach / 5 miles to Disney! »

WOW! what a wonderful hotel! absolutely perfect and for the price you'd be silly to stay anywhere else if you like amenities. BUT your favorite part (if you're smart and eat breakfast;) will be Nagy. He has got to be the friendliest, most genuine guy I have ever seen. Well here is a breakdown of hotel review. Stayed here to go to beach w/ 2 kids. Large size suite w/ 2 rooms, 2 tvs. Mid 100s$, great price for what you get. PROS> =breakfast- Nagy personally greeted everybody he say, made mini waffles... the selection was great. Carbs, fruit, protein, etc. =courtyard- beautiful, trust me! and you can eat there... lots of birds like your in tropics =common areas and grounds- immaculate! Great job housekeeping, I couldn't find one mess anywhere! (I'm in Military, so I look;-) =WiFi- very fast, Netflix worked well =Pool and Hot-tub- VERY clean, warm and well manicured. stays open late w/ nice lighting. Earth view the hotel and you'll see the pretty blue pool in the middle of courtyard / hotel. =Fitness room- cardio, free weights AND central cable station for working out, purified water inside fitness room (and near gorgeous lobby) =easy parking, fast check in, super nice girls at desk... very genuine. Forgot my razor, no problemo they said! =Room and Bathroom, VERY comfy bed w/ down comforters, curved shower rod and perfect water temp... soap and shampoo dispensers built in wall to help keep waste down! love it. nice smelling stuff too. CONS- no food or convenient store w/in "walking" distance... we could, but it was under the highway, about .5 mile. NO biggy at all, but the hotel can't control that. Get in the car and 2 min away was starbucks and everything else you need. Perfect place, won't ever stay anywhere else when in this part of Cali. thx BEST western staff, and especially you Nagy, made such an impact on our day, you'll never know. ;-) HP LiG

    « Internet connectivity »

I discovered at 10:30 pm that I couldn't get the internet to connect with any of three different computers I had with me. I contacted tech support and we talked for 1 1/2 hours but never could get them connected. I finally got a 4th computer, Kindle, to connect but the I-phone, I-pad and Dell laptop wouldn't connect. We finally gave up. The next morning, everything connected just fine but I lost an evening's work because I couldn't get connected.
