Best Western Orange Plaza

I was pleasantly surprised by the feeling of the hotel. The area it's located in is an Old Towne area with various points of interest, adorable flower shops, restaurants, grocery and gas stations nearby (also very close to St Joe's Hospital, should you have loved ones in-hospital for any reason). The hotel is also very close to Disneyland, an easy 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. I arrived an hour and a half prior to posted check-in time, but the gentleman at the front desk kindly checked me in early. The room was beautifully appointed with gorgeous silver and blue accents, and wood-look laminate flooring. The shower head was rainfall-style; the water pressure wasn't the best, but I think it might have been due to the showerhead itself. The daily breakfast was perfect for my needs, they offered a slightly different menu each morning beginning at 7am. I enjoyed the omelette (on Saturday mornings it had chopped peppers incorporated, delicious!), link sausage, fruit and juice but there were a good variety of options. I'll happily stay here again!

I was located second floor on the side by the road and it was noisy as constant truck and roar of cars going fast. I asked for the building farther away from traffic but was not accommodated. If you are a good sleeper this will not be an issue. Also the corridors are exterior and open up to the outside which may be a security concern for some but the locks seemed pretty good. The breakfast was awful with the worst coffee that I have ever tasted from a machine. Everything else was just starchy carbs and the room it's served in is not bigger than a large bathroom. However, the people were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were really comfortable so all in all the experience wasn't too bad. Certainly it's a decent motel.

I got sick with the breakfast served specifically the corned beef hash. I need to go to urgent care after vomitting after eating breakfast. I missed my work. The breakfast was the same for couple of days. The choices were very limited.

Front desk staff was super nice. We were hopeful about this place but literally our first five minutes of stepping into the room there was a mysterious tissue paper on the peep hole, pubic hairs on the floor, and public hairs on the bed. We realized it was the floor not being cleaned so our feet were tracking the hairs and dirt to the bed. Evening front desk staff gracious cleaned this but it already made us feel quite gross, and untrusting that the rest of the room was properly cleaned. Lastly the noise of what I'm assuming is water piping in a neighboring room is SO LOUD kinda freaked us out. I would not stay here again. And am really reconsidering whether Best Westerns are in our future at all. Also- told thr manager about the floor situation and upon checkout received $27 discount. That was nice of him, but as I sit and write this, not enough for having contact with a strangers public hairs. One plus is the location, while it's off the main road, nearby is Orange Circle which is a very cute old town neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes.

I booked room early and price was reasonable enough to just pay for parking at Disneyland. I like this location and people working there are always friendly and helpful. Only complaint on rooms is they don't clean floor. Use shoes or flip flops to walk around room or your feet will be black. Breakfast is okay.

Had a reservation at another non Best Western hotel and for reasons I won't go into, decided upon arrival I would not stay there. So at 10 at night, I'm looking for another place to stay nearby. A quick check of the Best Western app helped me find this property which was nearby and reasonably priced especially given it was last minute. The TripAdvisor reviews looked good so I booked a room and headed over. Check in was quick and easy with a very pleasant woman. The room was large, spotless and the bed firm and comfortable. Got a good night's sleep. A full breakfast is included and they seem to be proud of it as they had a white board in the lobby showing what they would be serving each day for the coming week. Sadly, I was meeting someone for an early lunch the next day so I slept in a bit and skipped it but perhaps I'll get to try it on a future stay. Was checked out by a very nice gentleman and was on my way. Very easy access to I-5 to get back up to downtown L.A. All in all, could not have asked for anything more and would certainly look forward to staying there again if I am in the area.

We booked a room for a night and the price was so low, that we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door! It was everything we needed: clean, comfortable and very quite. The front desk lady at the time was so sweet and helpful. My husband said that the breakfast wasn't too great; I didn't eat there. I would definitely stay there again if I am in town!

The best place I have ever stayed in. The staff, the office staff. The ladies helping with breakfast. Just wish the had in rooms fridge and microwave otherwise, love this place. I always recommend this place

Gas station grocery stores freeway very convenient especially if you have kids and you're traveling nice and clean. I am definitely going to stay again during the trip and they also provide complimentary breakfast

Friendly staff, good breakfast and the 2 room unit fits our needs perfectly!!! Any issues were quickly resolved. Great location, close to Disneyland and Angels Stadium. Hope to stay again next time!!!

I would definitely recommend the Best Western at Orange plaza to all of my friends and family as being the best hotel experience that anyone could enjoy. The more than friendly staff and helpful employees along with the most modernized, and always exceptionally clean rooms makes this my all time favorite.

This updated property is comfortable and clean. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. There is some traffic noise which lessens as it gets later. It is convenient to every OC freeway and right down the street from the restaurants in the Orange Circle area.

The room was clean and quite roomy, it had all amenities hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soaps. Breakfast was great with cereal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee, tea, waffles and much more. I liked that I could walk 15 minutes and I was at the orange circle. Great location. Only thing is that it's located on a main busy street, but my room was further away from the street so no problem. Staff were helpful and polite. I stayed for 4 days.

clean and comfortable rooms, with excellent customer service. Recently updated flooring and furniture. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Good options for breakfast, with an attendant helping and keeping the eating area clean. GREAT location for Old Towne Orange

HORRIBLY LOUD. Could not sleep at all. The noise from the street traffic (hotel is located on a huge street that is busy all hours of the night and day) is truly unbearable. Extremely disappointed. Never in my life experienced such terrible noise at a hotel & I have traveled a lot. Really the worst experience to the extent I had to book at an Airbnb last minute just to get out of there… really unfortunate since I needed to get sleep for a work conference I'm in town for…

Overall it was a nice stay for an unbeatable price. But the bed and pillows weren't super comfortable, but they were tolerable. Our room had a king size bed with an extra room with a sofa couch and tv for more space. I wish the room had a full length mirror, we had to buy one at Walmart, was only 10 bucks. Also wish it had a Microwave. The lighting for the only mirror they had needs to be better as well. The pool was kinda small but nice to take a dip in on a super hot day. The breakfast could have had better options for the warm meal, it offered us biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and potatoes. Which was good but id like some sausage and bacon added to that. Maybe ham. Idk. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably come back.. it only was about a 8 to 10 min drive to Disney and only costs us 11 bucks for an uber to Disney. Also lots of great food options around us. Parking gets tight.

We had a VERY TERRIBLE experience at this hotel!!!! DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!!!! I'm writing down our experience to worn everyone who is thinking about going. Their staff is VERY RUDE, the hotel is dirty, smells bad and we spotted a 7CM ROACH!!!! The shampoo box was broken on the edge with huge cracks and caused injury on my husband's forehead during taking the shower. IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!! Their staff did NOTHING, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGIES. I'm warning you with our true experience. DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!!!!!! My husband and I, as well as 2 friends booked 5-nights (8/8-8/12) at the Best Western Orange Plaza hotel, room 218. After finding A LARGE COCKROACH, SUPER DISGUSTING!!!!!! in our room on the third night, 8/10, we reported to the front desk staff Jay that we were uncomfortable. We couldn't stay in that room any longer. Jay had a terrible attitude, and he refused to issue a full refund. He looked at the picture and say "yes, that's a roach. What do you want me to do? Do you want me to catch it???" VERY RUDE!!!!! HE DID NOT EVEN SAY "SORRY" FOR ONCE!!!!!! He then came to the room reluctantly with his bare hands and NO CLEANING TOOLS. He took one flyer on the desk and try to reach to the bottom of the desk, then he looked at us saying "Where is the roach???" We told him the roach was running so fast and it hidden under the TV stand. He looked at us and say "Do you know this TV stand can't move?" as of this was our fault. HOW RUDE!!! (He even tried to deny that there were roaches, saying "he didn't see them"). And then he looked at us just like "What do you want me to do then?" The most ridiculous thing is that when we mentioned "roaches", he even corrected us saying "It's A ROACH, not ROACHES". We demand a full refund of the 3 nights because the roaches could have been there for 3 days already and it could ly eggs in our suitcases, and we could have taken them back with us. The front desk staff Jay refused to do that, and he said he can only transfer us to a smaller room right next to the roach room (which is highly likely infected as well), or we can just leave in the middle of the night. As it was too late and there weren't any other hotels available, we had no choice but to move into room 219 at that point. After moving everything into room 219, my husband Lei took a shower late at night around 1am, and it was slippery in the bathtub. He didn't notice there was a sharp edge on the top left corner of the shampoo box, so when he used it to take the shampoo out, the box fell down and injured his forehead. He got 2 obvious redness and swelling, and felt dizzy, especially after being shocked again. He had to lay down and go to sleep because it was 2 am in the morning. We reported to the front desk, and AGAIN, THEY DID NOTHING. There was another staff at the front desk by the time, his name is Dave. Dave is not as rude as Jay. He came to the room and took a look at the shampoo box and then said "Oh, it's a bad design, but I can't do anything." NO SINGLE APOLOGISE. We checked out of the Best Western Orange Plaza hotel this morning at 8/11, and had to find another hotel to stay tonight, which was much more expensive (3 times more expensive) since it was a last minute booking, causing us further damage. The manager of Best Western is not on call, so we cannot speak to him directly. A different employee, Dave, said their manager would call us at around 10 am. However, we waited for a day and he didn't call. I called the hotel the same afternoon and asked for the manager, but another staff member said the manager would not be on site until 8/12. They never called on 8/12 either. WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALLS FROM BEST WESTERN ORANGE PLAZA EVERY SINCE, NO SINGLE APOLOGIZE, NO REFUND AT ALL. I'm warning you with our true experience. DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!!!!!!

This hotel is located within easy walking distance to Old Towne Orange. A nice, flat walk down Chapman Ave from the hotel takes you right to the center of the historic district. The area in between has great sidewalks the entire way and felt safe to me. At the hotel, every staff member who interacted with me during my stay was outstanding. Shout out to Cindy, Jay, Michael and Teresa in appreciation for your friendliness and helpfulness!

we stay at best western plaza motel every time we come to orange, ca. our room has always been great. no negative issues. the staff Michael, Dave and Cindy are great. the only thing we would like to see improved is to have the pool heated but it won't stop us from staying at this motel. once you find a good motel, stay with it.

We stayed here since it wasn't too far from Disneyland but much cheaper than the hotels near Disneyland. The beds are comfortable and breakfast food was quite good and plentiful with a wide assortment.

We have stayed at this motel occasionally over several years, as we have family nearby. Always looked forward to a comfortable night sleep, but was disappointed on this trip with the newer hard beds. If you likes a hard bed, you'll like it. Neither I nor my daughter liked it. We couldn't get comfortable to go to sleep, woke up frequently in discomfort, and woke up aching in the morning.

The staff is always accommodating and friendly. They answer any questions you might have. Housekeeping is also quick to help in your time if need with a friendly smile. This place is close to malls, dining and a grocery store.

I had some early morning business to conduct at Chapman University, so I stayed over the night before at the Best Western Orange Plaza (about a 20 minute walk to the Chapman campus). The motel's website advertises that the rooms are "newly refurbished" and this is no exaggeration! My room was spotless, and everything looked spanking new and in great shape. Items were even wrapped in plastic due to COVID cleaning protocols. The armchair and ottoman were super comfortable for reading, the giant TV had plentiful cable channels, and the in-room coffee was great. The only downside is that the only window overlooks the passageway, so you don't have much privacy if you want to keep your curtains open to allow the lovely Southern California winter sun to stream in--but, hey, this is pretty standard for motel layouts. The room rate includes free wifi and breakfast--you can't get a better deal than this!

If you are able, book your stay as soon as you possibly can. Due to the convenience of this location, it fills up quite a bit faster than one would expect. This Best Western is right in the middle of EVERYTHING! Food, shopping, entertainment, etc.

I used to live in Orange and drove past this place for years. Now that I live out of the area and was visiting, I thought I'd give it a try. It's an older property, but you'd never guess that when you're inside. The rooms appear to have recently been renovated and are very modern, comfortable, and clean. The management was very professional and accommodating. The property felt safe and secure. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

This property is within walking distance of just about everything in Orange. Excellent rooms, clean & always fresh towels & hot water!!! Clean bedding & comfy room!! Very small odds & ends need addressed in each & or multiple rooms.

I stay here when I come to visit my brother and family, who live in Orange. It is greatly improved since it was renovated. It is satisfactory for my needs, although it seems that very few amenities are provided. At least I found the hair dryer. I thought the scarcity of amenities might be due to Covid concerns. I do not get the breakfast, however, I would appreciate a few more coffee and sugar packets to make coffee in the room. I think the bed is comfortable and my TV worked fine. I could hear water going on and off in other rooms, and, as other reviewers have said, the water pressure in the shower isn't very strong. I always choose a room on the second floor to maintain a greater sense of privacy-I.e. people walking back and forth to breakfast, cars coming and going, noise from the pool, and other things like that. Still, overall, I enjoy my stays here and consider this a perfectly reasonable place to stay when I visit Orange.

Great location! Near UCI Medical Center, plenty of places to eat, gas aand groceries across the street. Very well lit, clean and inviting facilities. Friendly responsive staff, great experience overall. Definitely recommend!

Really helpful, nice and pleasant staff. Remodeled rooms are now bright and modern. Ralph's, eating establishments, Old Towne all within walking distance. Breakfast is provided. Popular place for Disneyland visitors to stay. I like that it's small versus the bigger hotels with hundreds of rooms that are noisy.

i thought id hit the jackpot. a cheap hotel, near disneyland, that has good reviews? sounds too good to be true! and it was. it should first be noted that this is a motel, and not a hotel like it's listed on various sites. the check in process was quick. the concierge was very kind. our first impressions of the room were even really good. however, everything quickly started to go downhill. while having the sink outside of the bathroom seemed like a fun idea at first, it was more annoying than anything. the actual bathroom itself is so small, you can't stand in there and shut the door at the same time. we struggled to close it without having to sit on the toilet or step into the shower. there's no privacy because every bodily sound is echoed throughout the whole room. the water pressure in the shower is horrendous, especially when compared to how aggressive it is coming out of the bathroom sink. we're in a drought and even taking the fastest shower i could, with the sprinkles barely coming out of the shower head, it took me over fifteen minutes JUST to wash my hair. the towels are very small, thin and aren't very absorbent. they also don't believe in regular hand soap. we had to buy our own at CVS. anyway, back to the sink. it's loud, it's aggressive, and the water coming out of it smells so bad. good luck sleeping if someone needs to wash their hands. we tried to settle in and watch some tv. the remote didn't work. i had to fiddle with the batteries for a while before it halfway started to work. i decided to check out the pool, which i didn't notice until after id been in it, how dirty it was on the bottom. the bed is hard and uncomfortable and makes a bunch of noise if you breathe on it wrong. between how loud the bed is and how loud it is from the noise outside in general, i genuinely did not sleep. and this is all just the first day. by day two, we'd accepted our fate of having this awful room. we spend the day out. come back to get some sleep. at around three am, we're startled by someone trying to get into our room. because the walls are so thin and the noise is so bad anyway, i just assumed it was a neighboring guest that got locked out and was trying to wake family. when i realized he was trying to shake our door handle, i got up and looked through the peep hole. sure enough, this man was aggressively, for about a half an hour, trying to get into our room. i tried calling the front desk for help, but the phone in the room didn't work. because my friend and i were so frightened, it took us too long to realize we could use our phones to call the hotel. so i did, and the person at the front desk said he was coming. i stayed at the door, looking through the peep hole, for over a half an hour and he never came. the guy eventually left, but fat chance on me falling back asleep. the next day when i went to talk to the front desk about the experience, he assured me it never happened, but joked that he'd brought horror nights to us. even though i understood he was trying to make light of the situation, it didn't sit well with me. im legit traumatized from this experience, but go off. i told him the phone wasn't working. he acknowledged it was a safety hazard. i gave him permission to switch the phone out while we were gone despite the privacy sign on the door. he assured me it would be fixed. when we got back, and for the remainder of our stay, the phone was never replaced. nights three and four were significantly less eventful. someone was smoking directly outside our room, which resulted in their cigarette smoke filling our room. i didn't report it because they never came to help with the man, they didn't change the phone, so at that point, i didn't see the point. between people, doors opening, closing, the sound of everyone else's plumbing through our room, it was very loud. not pleasant. the stay here ruined my entire trip because all i wanted to do was go home and get away from there. i wish they'd have given us our money back, but that's too much to ask for. i've never had such an awful experience at a hotel.

Rooms are clean. noise is too much from kids screaming and loud music at the pool. I felt bad as a platinum customer asking for service. 2 out of 4 of the worker had respect and understood. i was there on a business trip and could get little done due to the noise and when i checked out of the over priced, normally $90 , that i paid almost $290 a night, they had me wait in the in the hot /humid climates as the the manger walks by not asking if i would like to sit inside or if they could offer water. guess ill have Hilton buy out my points. Waste of money, but if only staying for leisure day or so, go for it.

It wasn't the worst experience, but the hotel needs some updating. The exterior looks shabby. The rooms are clean, but the beds and pillows are uncomfortable. The staff was rightfully cautious with COVID, but they need to find a better way to serve breakfast. We waited half an hour and left out of frustration. Fix these issues, you got a great hotel.

The pool was not heated, there were crickets in our room, breakfast was o.k., we were denied a little later checkout, and now I'm leaving a review and Best Western is making me type a minimum of 200 words just so I can let others know about needed improvements. Corporate America! Sheesh!

I recommend this BW I stay here when in town visiting family. Always service with a smile. Rooms are always clean, check in and check out are always quick and easy. I have always enjoyed my stays and appreciate the breakfast as well.

The room was updated and had all the amenities needed. Breakfast foods, nice options, were served by one of the employees. The bed was firm and comfortable. HBO and MAX movie channels where available to watch - something I don't get at home. Only problem with this Best Western location, is the location. It sits on two main roads and there is alot of vehicle noise. There is a period during the night I believe the traffic subsided and sleep was acquired. I did use white noise to sleep and drown out some of the noise. Overall, it met my needs for the days I was staying there.

my only complaint is that they don't offer or honor my diamond loyalty status with allowing my party a late checkout neither was I able to receive a upgrade to a nicer room marriot bonvoy is easily a better choice for travel.

I first learned of Best Western while traveling across country with a friend of mine. My friend had mad all the hotel reservations. I was very impressed by the consistency of Best Western throughout the states. So the next time I had to travel that's the way I went.

Older hotel, but nicely updated! Have stayed at this hotel three times and staff is great! Due to COVID-19 there were changes in the breakfast routine, but the staff rolled with the flow and were fabulous!

I stayed for three nights and I as quite pleased. The room was clean although it was dirty under the lip of the sink. There were only a few tissues left in the box and I didn't see a blow dryer, which usually comes in the rooms of hotels these days. The towels are also small in size relative to the usual sized bath towels. I did enjoy my stay though-I appreciated the fact that I couldn't hear noises in adjoining rooms and the bed was quite comfortable, despite a relatively thin blanket. These are minor complaints, though, and I consider it a very good place to stay at a good price!

customer service was phenomenal they made us feel welcome met our needs covered everything down to the snacks just very thorough rare and one of kind courteousness from beginning to end.... they make you feel so welcome and comfortable tht you look forward to going back

We stay here for appointments at CHOC— Groceries/Starbucks across the street . Mall within walking distance.Close to Disneyland, (when open) and can connect to busses to take you there. Staff is great

They took great care of me, I had an injury and the hostess was able top find me a room on the 1st floor. Rooms have been recently remodeled. Very bright and clean. Hot breakfast and centrally located. I would definitely stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us have a late check- out which was very beneficial for me since I have to do a regimen of medicines after I eat breakfast. And they allowed me to have a late check-out which is very much appreciated. Breakfast was good the lady that was helping us with super friendly and the food was hot and good. We were able to park in front of her room since I am partially disabled it was helpful I would definitely stay here again

We had booked the 1 king and 1 double was the best my husband and I had pur privacy and my cousin had her own bed in the main room. The only thing was that our private room did not have a TV but overall satisfied

after staying at a larger best western I was extremely surprised to find this small quaint building. Lobby and entire building recently remoldeld. Front desk staff extremely sweet and courteous. While the larger best western I had stayed at did not have grab n go bags or any type of breakfast this one offered both. Actual breakfast was modified but still fresh and warm. Now we did book a king suit. This place is not a true suit. Its just a small extra room with pull out couch. The layout could be a little bit better but the fantastic customer service made up for the lack of size in the room. Oh and the bed was truly amazing I did not want to get out of bed. Even the sofa bed was newer and comfortable.

I drove from san diego to santa ana for a work related trip and stayed at this hotel for two weeks. The staff was extremely pleasant and polite, there customer service was awesome and very accommodating, everyone at the front desk was so helpful and available 24/7. Everyone went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The rooms were very clean, the outside atmosphere was so nice and most of all... quiet, so you can relax! We had such a positive stay and hope to be back soon.. book your next hotel reservation here, you will not regret it!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a fast and easy check in with polite staff. The room was very clean with lots of space and amenities. I loved the shower pressure and the soap dispensers is a great idea, not cheap skin/hair drying products either. The beds were plenty comfortable. It was nice and quiet, not noisy as other hotels I have stayed at. The area had many different choices of restaurants nearby which was another plus. I will definitely recommend family and friends to stay here! You have a returning guest here as well!

I arrived at midnight counting on a microwave in the room like every other place I've stayed...wrong! This property was just renovated so it was intentional! The room has super bright overhead lights and a very hard mattress (just like the BW in Placentia) after their renovation! Sleep was impossible between the bed, neighbor noise above and the staff talking very loudly amongst themselves in front of the rooms at 8 a.m. No detectable perks for BW rewards members and no breakfast. Hopefully your stay is better than mine was!

The rooms are clean and lovely with nice touches and amenities. The beds are super comfortable. The motel although old well taken care of and going through exterior upgrades. The staff professional and accommodating.

My husband had a few Dr Visits @ St Joseph Pavilion & this location was perfectly located on Chapman & Main St in Orange. Sandy attending the Front Desk is the KINDEST & most helpful Hotel Staff Member I have EVER met!! I can say this on good authority because I have flown the world over as a Flight Attendant for a Major Airline. This isn't a 5 Star Resort property but she makes you feel that welcomed. I'm a Diamond Select Best Western Member & a Hilton Diamond Member so I have been welcomed @ many Hotels to achieve that status. The rooms are newly refurbished & clean! Complementary Breakfast in the morning. I will stay again....SOON!!

The hotel rooms were recently renovated and were very nice. You definitely get a very nice room for a great value. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! I would absolutely stay here again even though it was under construction.

All of the employees at this hotel were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Along with the updated and clean rooms, they made our trip a very enjoyable and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small motel on the West side of Orange, CA, on Chapman Ave, We stay here often when visiting family. Over the years the accommodations have been upgraded. It is a pleasure to stay at a motel that has a TV remote control that uses the local TV station numbers - no searching a guide to find what is familiar. The controls on the heater/AC were also easy to use. Our laptop connects to the Wi-fi with no problem. Apparently the style for pillows is big and lumpy which is not our preference. We always specify a first floor room because as we age we have problems with stairways. We will be back again.

The staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful, They made my stay feel like home. The hotel is going renovations and I got the pleasure to stay in a new room as well as one that had not been renovated and the new look is brighter and definitely better.

The hotel appearance looks overall “okay”. Nothing that screams comfort or anything. The hotel staff was friendly although did not make it easy to check in when i decided to book an extra night and even gave me a room someone was still in!

I booked this trip for aconference. The holel is located just off the 57 freeway and was in very close proximity to my destination. This was an ovrnight trip, so I did not spend too much time in the room, but I was pleasantly comfortable. It was quiet and I felt safe in my environment inside and outside the hotel and it's general area. The bed was more than comfortable, I enjoyed a nice hot shower and had all the amenities that other larger hotels offfer including a fridge, personal care itens, coffee maker with creamers etc, a c;oset with an ironing board and iron a nice size television with remote in a clean sleeve. A writing desk and dining table. On site parking was avaialbel at no extra cost as was the breakfast. There is constuction going on at the hotel, but it did not inerfere with anything. mnagement is professionally scheduling in a way that impacts guest the least.

This hotel is centrally located with many dining options nearby, etc...It is close to Chapman University as well as OCCH. It is also walking distance to Main shopping Mall along with Orange Circle which also offers many shops and dining establishments. The staff at this hotel is excellent!

I stay here several times a year visiting my grandchildren. The condition and service is very predictable and always in the high range. Property is centrally located in Orange county. Rooms are always clean and well maintained. Office staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is nice any saves time not needing to go to a restaurant. Rooms are always clean and beds comfortable. Has good TV service with some premium channels if you are spending any time in the room.

Booked this for a business trip to Orange. Excellent location close to CHOC, and a very good Mexican restaurant just a block away (The Chili Pepper). Free breakfast was amazing, lots of choices and very clean. Nice pool outside to cool down!

Well maintained, quiet, attractive hotel minutes from downtown Orange, Disneyland, Chapman University and Santiago Canyon College. Free hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, biscuits & gravy, and coffee. I was there attending a 5 day USSF C License course and was a mere 15 minutes from the field and classroom. I loved it so much the first 5 days I stayed there 2 months later the other 5 days!

OK place to spend the night if you have business in the area or going to Disneyland. Clean but old and in a very commercial and noisy area. Although the beds were comfortable and the noise wasn't bad at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!!

Can hear water being turned on from the other rooms. The room we stayed 2 queen bed n guest room. We had one sink in bathroom , no vanity. No laundry service available at hotel. Same breakfast everyday, kitchen was kind a small, so we end up standing n eating in kitchen , hotel odor, and can see pipe under bathroom sink. The cleanliness was okay.

I recently became a frequent guest of Best Western. This hotel looks a bit old, but I love the size of the room, the amenities, the cleanliness, and the fact it came with free WiFi and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close from shopping centers and restaurants. Would suggest to have recycle bin in the guest rooms.

Good hotel for the money you pay. Looks a little dated and some may find the soap dispensers a bit of a hassle to deal with (you have to push a bunch of times to get a good amount of soap). Great breakfast selection: waffles, bacon, eggs, biscuits, sausages etc. Best of all the staff is very attentive. Front desk staff is very nice and ready to assist. Important note: This hotel can be a little noisy due to the fact that it's basically on the street. The area has supermarket, Marshall's and restaurants within walking distance, so that's a plus.

This Best Western was probably one of the best ones I've stayed in. The owner was super friendly and also helped staff stalked the breakfast area. I felt welcomed and not just a person passing through.

I always stay at the Best Western Orange Plaza hotel when in the Anaheim, CA area. It is clean and well run and the staff is top rate. The breakfast gets you going in the morning and the comfortable and clean guest rooms are always welcoming at night.

We stayed while visiting to watch the Ducks play hockey. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was large and comfortable. The staff at the Hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We will always chose this Best Western to stay at when in town.

I like the location and the appearance of the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Only issue was the walls were very thin, you can here noise from the outside the water pipes must be old since you can hear them when being used even from other rooms

This was a great motel. The location was fantastic, the staff was very friendly, and they had a very good free breakfast. I also really liked that there are fridges in the rooms and a microwave in the lobby for guests to use. It was a little noisier than I expected but it was fine. I am a very light sleeper and I had no problem getting to sleep.

We were evacuated due to the mud slides and we were able to get a room the same day for a very good price the room was very clean and upgraded the breakfast was amazing ever morning the room was cleaned daily and the service was excellent

Extremely well maintained and clean Best Western. Found no fault at all with this facility. A minor thing would have liked to have seen in the room was an easy access receptacle near the bed to plug my phone into but that's no big issue. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Check-in was great. Giant flat screen TV too!

This is in a good spot in Orange, plenty of food within walking distance. Main Place Mall is very close which is super convenient. Did not use the pool but it looked nice. I like staying in Orange because it's very central to everything in Orange County. Sandy at the Front Desk was particularly nice and the highlight of our stay. A good staff with solid amenities beats other hotel competition any day.

Look no further. This is home away from home. The rooms are clean and spacious. The entire staff are friendly and very helpful to fulfill any request. And your easy check in and check out service couldn't be anymore better. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Plus if you forgot to pack and necessaries the front office has what you need with their compliments. You will enjoy your stay and never stay anywhere else again.

We had been to a car show in Anaheim and Cindy and Sandy on the desk went out of their way to make sure we were parked in a space directly outside of our room and where there our classic car would be protected. The hotel is also within walking distance of several decent restaurants and we felt safe walking to them. The room is clean and we had a great breakfast. We've been here before and will come again.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Clean, quiet, great free breakfast, rooms nice, updated, not too big. Very close to Orange Circle . Close to 57 freeway. Exterior clean, could be brightened up a bit. Not fancy but just plain good!

Exemplary staff, easy walk to everything (grocery store, restaurants/quick bites, coffee shops), close proximity to the wedding and reception venue for the wedding we were attending. Stayed on the 2nd floor and was able to see Disney fireworks at night. :) As we were leaving we realized how close this was to Disneyland and would definitely choose this hotel again if we were going to be in the area for an overnight Disneyland trip.

this is a great hotel with friendly owners who care. The breakfast is great and the location can't be beat. The beds are super comfy. The lobby is beautiful. A great value except graduation week-end when they jack up the price.

This hotel is perfect for us. The room with two Queen and one double bed are exactly what we need as a family of 5. The location is perfect, a grocery store across the street & Angel Stadium 5 minutes away.

Parking was good and closeby, the reception was pleasant and efficient. The bed was too soft for me. The internet was complex. There was noise outside my room, both when I tried to sleep, and early in the morning. The breakfast was just a continental breakfast, something to nibble on.

This has to be the cleanest Best Western I have ever seen. Staff is great, friendly and fast. Not one thing that we could complain about. Its a simply hotel but it is a great place to stay. A bit nousy due to being on a main road but not too bad.

This hotel is located near freeways and is easy to locate. It is convenient to restaurants and tourist areas alike. The parking lot is well lit. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. Dirty, old, old beds, wind current filter in and we got sick, toilet clogged for no reason, very covenient location though about to get groceries. Smells like humidity. Dirty rugs. We are not too picky but for the price we expected something much better

Visited my son who lives in Orange, CA. Sisters and I stayed here for one night. Room small, musty and very sad looking. Appliances were old. One lamp in room. One light in toilet. Room decor sad looking, outdated everywhere in room. Bathroom is nightmare. One light in shower. Walk in shower gets water all over bathroom floor, almost up to your toilet. I did not feel very clean staying here. Nightmare.

I got this hotel to go to Disneyland with my family. I would recommend it to my friends and family. I thought it had good presentation the rooms are clean and nice. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast offered was good. Not a big selection but good.

This is my go-to spot for Orange Circle. It's no amazing hotel but its a good, reliable, consistent spot and close to all the dining, bars & shops of the Orange Circle area. They've added a full breakfast since my prior stay, but I slept through that...

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and orderly. Slept well but all the pillows were to "fluffy" and had a "crunch" to them. I had brought my own pillow so not an issue. If I were flying pillows would have been very uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre at best, I did not finish my meal but not a deal breaker. I would stay again.

Best Western's have pretty much become glorified Motel 6's. Outdated decor, wall heaters, unclean feeling rooms, and the exterior is awful. This hotel in particular was awful. We will never stay here.

This hotel was great for us because it is just four miles from Disney Land. It is easy to take a cab and you don't have to fight the traffic. It was an enjoyable stay at this hotel. There was plenty of shops, stores and restaurants in the area around the hotel.

Average hotel with good pricing. Location was very nice, about 5 mins away from a mall and a grocery store is right across the street. Disneyland is about 10 mins away. Breakfast was excellent. Pool isn't heated so it was super cold, room had a weird odor, sink wasn't draining well.

Great for our 2 day visit to the university & some touring. A very basic motel-type, older property. Down side is you can't keep drapes open if you want privacy since they face the corridor to the outside; and I happen to like lots of natural light. That said, we didn't spend much time at the hotel itself, so worked well for us.

Too many people smoking on the balcony's in the middle of the night. I counted at least 3 fire truck and ambulances blaring down the street. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance which was nice.

I regularly stay at this hotel for work at nearby St. Joseph's Hospital. Very pleasant and convenient for my work, with everything you could possibly need nearby. Front desk staff, particularly Cindy, always very pleasant and accommodating. David is also very nice and helpful. Room clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple and nice. I'm really glad to have found this hotel to stay during my work weeks in Orange.

well to begin with i had some changes to make for our trip and michael the front desk mgr. was incredibly accommidating. he was helpful and happy to help, not grudgingly. i was pleased with the room it was very clean and spacious. michael was also more than glad to give us an early check in. i was just so pleasantly surprised at the overall stay. i would absolutly reccommend this best western to stay at. very close to chapman university and the breakfast was good. michael was a great customer service guy . made me feel very welcome. great job

Best Western of Orange Plaza is a great place to stay. The staff is helpful and courteous, the rooms are clean and well cared for and it is in the perfect location next to Disneyland and the Anaheim Stadium. I always enjoy staying at the Best Western Orange Plaza Motel on Chapman and Main.

Great location near Hospital Medical Campus. I was able to walk to work and save on parking. Front desk was very helpful. Not very busy, and had a nice size pool. Staff was very helpful. Offered hot breakfast options.

In this case you get more than what you pay for. We paid $100 per night. An older facility in an older part of town but recently renovated. Immaculately clean room and bathroom. Quiet. We felt very safe. The full breakfast, although not top of the line was very adequate and complete. Conveniently close by freeway to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a room with 2 beds, one bed had dirty sheets we found several blood spot. front desk staff no friendly very rude person. We stayed before in Best Western Hotel but we never had this kind of experience.

Hard to go wrong here at Orange Plaza. Extra comfortable beds, clean carpets, quiet rooms, family friendly, good for business travel etc. good food near by and downtown Orange not to far away. Just say yes to this one!

Nice place. Will likely be nicer still once the front desk area renovations are completed. The 3 bed option (2 room suite) was a bit crowded in and the extra bedroom does not have separate AC so closing the door for privacy means no access to the room's AC. A small AC unit in that room would be helpful, especially during hot summer months. That said, the upgrade cost for the additional room was worth the price for the extra Double bed and semi private room.

My children and I loved the swimming pool, the breakfast we received here was so good, the employee's were helpful and accommodate everything we asked for, there is a beautiful park near by to wall ball

We were greeted by a friendly professional behind the desk. After a day of sight seeing, we returned to a clean, quiet room. In the morning we enjoyed the amenities of the hotel provided breakfast. Although there was renovation happening, there was a little noise in the lunch area, but was kept to a minimum, as well as dust or clutter. The surrounding area seemed to be quiet and safe as well.

"A" for effort, "D-" for reality. NOT the worst ever stayed in, BUT for the price it's not worth it. Where to begin... bathroom has black mold on walls and floor; beds are OK for cheap motel, but not more; the vacuuming above us at 6:20 AM was a real treat; the "hot" breakfast was tepid and by the time you got your egg patty and sausage patty to your table they were cold; the creepy old man leering at you taking a bag with fruit to your room was weird; the constant fire engine noise with a firehouse a block away was not good; there's not enough marked spots for the number of rooms; the tub had a stench coming up that was not good; and they clearly don't hire enough housekeepers because they were still working on rooms at 3:30 PM when check out was at 11AM. Just too many "cons" and no real "pros" to give it anything but 1.5 stars. Spend some more money and stay at an actual nice hotel and not this ok motel if you can.

Loved the 'suite' option the hotel had. Hotel is currently undergoing some renovations in the lobby area. Staff was very considerate. Room was clean; seemed newly renovated. Some minor room repairs could have been done prior to renting out, i.e., needs new bathroom fan, baseboard tile needs to be finished and / or caulked; iron should be cleaned out due to lots of calcium buildup; more stable ironing board and cover that stays on the board should be provided. Snack and soda vending machines were not operational, maybe due to humidity; registered the money, but the mechanisms did not work. The coin return did work so we weren't out anything, just inconvenienced bc we had to walk to the strip mall to get snacks around 930pm. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we would stay there again. Close to Chapman University. Restaurants and strip malls within walking distance.

The hotel room was newly decorated and very comfortable. Our shower ceiling leaked and got the bathroom floor wet but everything else was very nice. The hotel lobby was still under construction, but the service was good. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was OK. All in all it was a good stay.

Best Service, rooms, breakfast, accommodations and easy access from highways. The staff are friendly and courteous. The are always polite and respectful. Our rooms are clean and well prepared for overnight visitors. And they expanded their breakfast area. Everything you could image and well staffed.

Close to lots of restaurants & a big mall, and easy to get Disneyland but cheaper because it's a little ways away. They reinvest in their business by remodeling. Older but not redown. Looked very nice. Also I felt secure there, no particular reason. And, for those who need it, a bus stop was right in front of the hotel. Could take it to Disneyland & shopping, etc.

Booked through Expedia, got into our room to notice bugs all over the bed, and the refrigerator not working. We called maintenance to explain we NEEDED the fridge for daughters medication. The maintenance worker, very old man said "Go to store and buy a cooler" They REFUSED to change our rooms and then they LIED to our bank and said we stayed for one night! We left immediately when they REFUSED to help. WE DID NOT stay. This hotel is disgusting. They advertise false amenities and the hotel manager is incredibly RUDE.

Value hotel close to Chapman University. Currently going through a front office remodel to provide more room for free breakfast and business services. Breakfast was being served in new space and was a much needed upgrade.

This hotel was perfect for our trip. The rooms clean bed was awesome. The breakfast was delicious eggs, waffle bagels juice coffee bacon. We saved a lot of money eating our complementary breakfast every morning. It was one mile from historic Orange plaza. We will come again soon.

This is an old-style motel in the charming city of Orange. Despite the retro-appearance outside, the rooms have been very nicely modernized inside, with the amenities today's travelers expect. Very close to Chapman U., and if you are traveling by car, convenient to the disney parks and Orange County beaches as well. The city of Orange is one of the few Los Angeles suburbs that has retained old California charm without being kitschy or touristy. Try the Chili Pepper restaurant around the corner, very good!

I spent 7 nights at the Best Western Orange Plaza to visit with family and friends. It is convenient to freeways 5, 22, 55 and 57 which makes getting around in socal easy. Of course, downtown Orange is just so lovely just to walk around. The king size bed was comfortable but the pillows are a bit lumpy and extremely large. The continental breakfast is from 6am-10am and best to arrive early verses later for more choices. The staff are super friendly and will assist with any needs!

Attended an event in Anaheim and needed a place for a quick overnight stay. As you can see from the photos the room was very clean and tidy though I will say that the furniture and artwork is in serious need of a more modern upgrade. Slight bit of traffic (white) noise but not a bother for me personally when you live in a sprawling metropolis like Los Angeles. Their continental breakfast was the usual fare offered by Best Western. I always appreciate having a protein option (eggs) and fresh fruit versus carbs. There is also a Starbucks within walking distance across the street. The only downside to my room was a bit of a strong smell of an ammonia-based cleaning solution. Not enough for me to change rooms but could be bothersome for more sensitive people. I'd recommend the management instruct the staff to use a less toxic smelling cleaning product. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this to budget-minded travelers.

Everything was good I.e. service, location, restaurants. Room was very comfortable, shower was hot and strong, towels were good. The bed was very comfortable The continental breakfast was good I.e.fresh fruit, pastries, coffee,milk,juice,yogurt,breakfast sandwiches and waffles that had to be heated. Since you are on a main street there is nite time traffic noise. There is free WiFi a n a small computer center.

We were on our 2016 college tour and visiting the nearby Chapman University and this was our hotel of choice. We were lucky! The location was great, very near Chapman. The reception staff was excellent both for check in and check out and helpful and friendly. I asked directions to several stores and restaurants and they went out of their way to help. Breakfast was good for a "typical" continental with a few more options than normal.

We had a large group and the room we had was able to accommodate all of us without using a sleeper sofa! The first room had 2 queen beds and a second small room had another bed. The small room was a tight fit, but we were just there to sleep and then drive back home. The room was clean and comfortable.

This is an average Best Western with a limited breakfast. But the location is ideal for a quick drive to and from a Anaheim Angels game. It's also very close to the historic town of Orange. There are plenty of choices for food in the area as well.

Wasn't too sure since this hotel seemed a bit "older" with a "motel" appearance from the outside, but that is where it ended. The room was very modern and also very clean and well maintained. Great sleep every night and one of the best showers I've ever had in a hotel of any type. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating and the free continental breakfast actually included proteins which most do not and real food opposed to packaged stuff. Although a bit further from the Anaheim centre some decent amenities within walking distance including a grocery store, several restaurants etc. Only negative was the wifi, although free did not work very well. The only redeeming quality of that was that their wifi homepage offered quick access to local delivery and tourist attractions if you needed it. Would stay again, but they need to up their wifi game especially for int'l travelers who will need it. It can be a bit noisy at night because of the "motel style" place it is. They cannot do anything about emergency services blaring in the middle of the night so I do not fault them for that.

I spent two nights here in August 2016 for the sole purpose of visiting Disney, which is just a 10/15 minute drive away. The room was exactly as you'd expect from a Best Western; clean, comfortable, well-kept and with a good size TV. Reception staff were lovely and the complimentary breakfast had enough variety. There are a few eateries and supermarkets very close by which were handy. Overall an enjoyable stay!

Arrived in Orange, CA and had forgotten all of my credit cards and identification at home. A normally very organized former Hotel Industry Employee, I started to panic but the front desk agent was calm and extremely helpful in assisting me in doing what was necessary to get me settled in and comfortable. Breakfast area was spotlessly immaculate each day and the area was not bad at all. Drive down Chapman to the Orange Circle near Chapman University where you will find some really great dining options and plenty of interesting shops. NIce area, safe and clean, even late at night. Would love to go back and explore more.

This is a Best Western with nice big clean rooms and a continental breakfast. My 2nd time staying here. It is convenient to the Chapman University campus where my daughter attends. Make sure to call the motel when you book and identify yourself as a Chapman parent. They will give you a discount. It is also convenient to Anaheim, Angels Stadium and a short drive to Disney. Close to the highway and there are nearby gas stations, stores and restaurants.

This Best Western is our property of choice for hotel accommodations for the five years, and we would never stay anywhere else. My older daughter is a graduate of Chapman University, and my younger daughter is there now about to start her sophomore year. Roger Daugherty, the manager, has always been wonderful to us and very accommodating. It is a very clean and welcoming property, as well as a very convenient location to the university and Old Orange.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Orange Plaza, in Orange, CA. for ten nights in July, 2016. I have to say it was the worst stay we've had in a hotel in many, many years. The things that made our stay bad were that the maids for several days went through our luggage and we had several hundred dollars worth of chocolates in the room near the end of our stay when the maids decided to shut off the air conditioning. For the first few days of staying at the hotel I noticed that the charging cords to my phone and other equipment were hanging out of my suitcase, which does not happen when I put them away myself. My wife mentioned that her personal items inside her luggage had been rearranged and her slippers were moved off her suitcase also. I thought that I had been carless about the cords by chance but my wife's slippers were moved to the floor; however, I didn't at first mention anything to the manager. This went on for a few days and then I started taking pictures of how things were left on top of the luggage. We came back one night and talked with the night manager and he apoligized and said he had two new maids and that they should not be touching our luggage. That was also the night we came home with the several hundred dollars of chocolate. The manager told us that he would have the maid supervisor watch the maid clean our room the next day. I put a note that covered the controls of the air conditioner that said, "Please do not turn off air conditioner, thank you". When we returned the day after we brought the chocolates into our room, I stopped in the office and asked the desk clerk that was also aware of the problems we were having to come to our room and observe what it looked like compared to the pictures taken in the morning. He declined and said, "I trust you". When my wife and I entered the room, the air conditioner was turned off and the luggage had been been gone through again. Now, I'm really mad. I went immediately down to the night manager and asked why the air conditioner was turned off. He stated the the maid probably couldn't read English and that he was sorry. The heat did ruin one box of chocolate that was close to one hundred dollars although I didn't find out until we got home. I was told three days before we checked out that the owner wanted to talk with us about the problems. We said that we would be there at 8:30 a.m. on the checkout day to meet with owner. We came down and checked out and ask about the meeting with the owner. We were told that they were not coming to meet with us. So someone at the hotel is a liar. I was also told that I had to have proof that the maids had gone through our luggage. I said that I had offered the night manager to go to our room at night before we entered and he declined. The day manager removed one night stay from our bill and that was it. When I asked for the owners name, I was told it was Anil and Sandi Patel. Now this poor quality hotel has added insult to injury by the owners not even bothering to show up when it was arranged days prior. Thanks Anil Patel for the worst hotel stay in years. You lost our business forever. A few other things about the hotel, it is in a seedy part of Orange, CA. If I had children with me I would definatly not stay there. As soon as we parked to check in on the first night, there was a dope fiend trying to cross the street at the hotel. There was a homeless man going through the garbage can approximately ten feet from the office and management did nothing even though there is a window to see what was going on right outside. The hotel is old and it shows inside and out. The bathroom in our room at least was very small and not clean and the room was very outdated. The owners need to put money into the hotel's upkeep. My wife and I observed what appeared to be prostitutes/ dope fiends knocking on two different hotel room doors at different hours throughout the evenings when we were there and we mentioned it to the staff and they did not respond. When I talk about my observations, they are professional, because I am a retired peace officer. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and I am disappointed in the brand of Best Western for allowing this place to have their name. I do stay at Best Western hotels in other cities with good and even great results.

Nice place to stay. Older hotel but rooms had remodeled and were nice. I had moved my daughter to the area and needed a place to park my 24 foot trailer while we stayed a few more days. They were really nice to allow me to leave it in the parking lot while we were there.

Visited this hotel during a business trip. It offers a good value for your money and the location is pretty good (depends on your destination of course...). The room was pretty large, relatively clean, with a small handy kitchenette and the service was very cooperative. The room's facilities were not new\\modern but had sort of 'heavier' atmosphere combined with a relatively low light. Breakfast was very basic in the small lobby. Bottom line is that I had a nice stay here.

Promise best possible price. after check in find out that internet price was over doupple cheapper. Ask for front desk, and they said that they know that, but cant do anything. I have been this hotel every year about 5-10 nights per year last 10 years. never again!

We had planned a trip to Disneyland, and chose this hotel (which is about a 15 minute drive away, $18 parking fee) after fruitlessly searching for a good price for one within walking distance of the park. We find Best Westerns are pretty solid places to stay, and this one was no different. The room was a pretty standard size, but it felt a tad cluttered due to a lot of furniture around the king-sized bed. And it's not an updated hotel, but still, it was very clean. The linens were crisp and the bed was very comfortable, although we found the pillows to be a little more firm than we would have liked. I wasn't a fan of the lotion and soap being provided in wall dispensers, but that's just a small quibble. A note in our room indicated if we had forgotten any other toiletries, they would be provided by the front desk. We were in a first-floor room, and the WiFi worked well. There was a standard continental breakfast in the front reception, including coffee and tea, cereal, fruit, pastries, instant oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and pre-packaged waffles. There's a small pool area in the parking lot that seemed to be well-enjoyed while we were there. I poked my nose in the gate, and while it's showing its age, it still appeared to be quite clean. During our stay we experienced an issue with our room and the front desk staff were extremely concerned and accommodating. I was very impressed by the service. They also let us keep our bags at the front desk while we took a day trip to Palm Springs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Orange Plaza, and it's the staff that really makes this place.

Twenty minutes from the Nixon Library right in the heart of Disneyland, Angels stadium, etc...and quite affordable. The staff were all very friendly and quite helpful. David (of the Irish brogue) helped us with a quicker, shorter way to the Nixon Library. Plus he was of great fun.

We always stay at Best Western Hotels and this was one of the older models. Outside of the low seat toilets this was an excellent hotel. Everything was just great. When your knees are bad you need a higher seat. "staff was just great and helpful,

Nice small hotel in a good location. Actually saw and heard fireworks from Disneyland. Several good eating spots nearby. Great beds and slept very well considering there is a somewhat busy street nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at Best Western Orange Plaza. If you are reading this, I recommend staying here for your Southern California needs. The rooms are clean, the staff is knowledgeable and the prices beat the competition.

If you are looking for a budget hotel within Orange County, consider Best Western Orange Plaza. No frills, large and clean rooms, comes with free breakfast. We were travelling as a family and booked 2 rooms. Our relatives lived within Orange County so this was basically okay with us. We were also out touring everyday so this was really a place simply for sleeping and freshening up. There are a couple of restaurants nearby (walking distance) too. However, if you prefer better accommodations and expect a fancier hotel, I suggest that you consider other hotels within the same area.

I stayed for six nights at this location. The desk people at Best Western Orange Plaza were some of the most efficient and customer friendly staff I have worked with in any hotel. They helped with changing reservations according to my changing itinerary, always with a smile and very efficiently. They helped me with other travel problems such as taxi cabs and local city busses. This is an old fashioned "motel" style layout but updated and very clean. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. I am very grateful to them for their wonderful customer service and smiling faces. Thank you!

Our hotel room was spotless. The staff were so helpful and caring. They helped us out with our car. It's rare to find people who will help a stranger. We stay here frequently since my daughter goes to Chapman University. It's not in the most picturesque location, but everything else about it is great.

Mike at the front desk greeted us with a smile as soon as my party walked through the door and had nothing but answers for us. We felt welcomed and comfortable during our entire stay and we will be back at this location next time we are in area.

Having 4 rooms booked we were accommodated with adjoining rooms and while we were only there for the evening and overnight everything was clean and well appointed. The breakfast in the morning was simple, tasty and nourishing.

We finally found an affordable, clean and safe motel room in the Chapman area. Staff was very accommodating for guests that arrived and left at various times. We were able to easily expand our number of rooms - and then when family members changed their minds, this motel gave us credit for the rooms that we did not need.

The room was very clean and well furnished. Bed was a little too soft but perhaps perfect for others. Staff extremely professional and helpful. The only road noise we heard (2nd floor) was a few motorcycles on the street. Good price. Breakfast okay. Location is close to shopping.

hotel looks okay... near to stores... I was there for business and visit some family... I really liked... the old town of orange is near by too. chapman university, it is perfect for any location... Clean, well kept room. Close to freeways. Visiting family in Santa Ana....great choice for me. Close to restaurants. Will stay there again. Recommended!!!!

I come up to Anaheim two or three times a year to see my home team play the Angels. After staying at several places around the stadium area, I have settled into the Best Western Orange Plaza. It is reasonably priced for Anaheim and close to a lot of attractions. Breakfast is basic but adequate. This is a no-frills kind of place which works for me.

Great experience The place is unassuming from the outside but great on the inside. Service and amenities were very good. There are lots of food places and easy grocery store and banking access. I would say for sure give it your business!

Good location and not far from freeways and the Honda Centre. No real restaurants in walking - but only a 5 min drive to a nice mall and 10 min drive to Restaurants and Honda Centre. Room was good as it had a separate room with TV.

We stayed here while visiting Disneyland, which is about a 15 minutes drive from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was fine and the location was close to several shops and restaurants, so all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

ok so the hotel is ok not nice but acceptable for a one night stay, with that said im not okay with some of the sketchy looking guest, the fact that deposits are 200.00 yet i get no microwave or sleep. i was sleep with my family until someone who looks like elmer fudd came beating on my door at 1:30 a.m. his words "i recieved a complaint of noise", impossible if we where sleep. my son is three he was sleep n so where we. instead of calling he decided to beat on my door and he didnt even seem remorseful after seeing how discombobulated we where. i became angry at his hostile, confrontational demeanor. i plan to file a complaint, after experiencing this i am unable to go back to sleep or have peace of mind. i was intentionally harassed and i plan on making sure proper disciplinary action is taken. i also feel i need to be reimbursed for the outlandish behavior by this staff and the attitude. im disgusted and can't return back to sleep. if you want decent treatment and a more upgraded room go elsewhere , you will thank me later.

We find Best Western dependable. We made reservations at this hotel because of its convenient proximity to Chapman University. We were disappointed that there was no exercise room, but at least it had a reasonable pool. The bed was very comfy though the pillows were too big for our taste. Wonderful, plush bath towels! Breakfast: OK, continental style. We will probably stay here again.

Is an old motel - Don't plan on staying here if you want to sleep as the noise level is very high both outside the room and inside the room from neighbouring rooms (could actually hear the person above peeing in the toilet and the flushing/drains/floors were exceptionally loud). Carpets were disgustingly dirty and the pool had a dog poop bag in it and a terribly film on covering the water so it's obviously not maintained

The overall stay was great, the staff I had contact with was great. the room was better than expected, we had the room with 3 beds which has the 3rd bed in it's own little room which my Daughter and her friend loved. The beds were comfortable and the TV was great. We did have a problem with the refrigerator in the room not working, one call to the front desk and the next day we had a new one. Looking forward to staying next year again.

Good location, clean, plenty of room and quiet. I didn't try the swimming pool, but the wifi was efficient and worked well, also the breakfast was OK. staff are helpful and a good decent motel all round. Stayed here while working, spenf 4 nights here, decent places to eat nearby and a few ATMs if you need cash, can walk into the "Old Towne". PC at reception, with a printer, and free to use. Also a microwave coffee, tea and water available at reception. I thought it a pretty decent place to stay.

We had no major complaints, but the room and pool area and lobby area needed some additional personal touches as well as more choices for breakfast. Seems some upgading is in order but the staff was all extremely helpful with warmth and professionalism.

I don't want to be over critical of this hotel. It was a good price and would satisfy most people, as the reviews show. It was just a bit too basic for me - traditional motel room, slightly ageing bathroom although perfectly clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable and location was fine for the airport and resorts like Newport Beach. Breakfast was free, but as bad a breakfast as I have ever seen. Cold coffee, cheap ingredients - it went straight into the bin. Sorry but this hotel wasn't for me

The hotel was clean and it was close to the freeway, it was close to Disneyland where we wanted to go ,nice location close to a lot restaurants that we like and a lot of new ones too to eat and just to see other things.

Beds were clean and comfortable, tiny pillows but lots of them. Staff was VERY friendly! Breakfast was typical, quick food for on the run. Fresh fruit. Packaged muffins, cereal, etc. Bathroom was GROSS. Wouldn't shower in it. Moldy grout, needs a good cleaning or better yet, replacement! Had a wheelchair accessible room with extra room with double bed. Extra room was still locked when we arrived and had to call to get it opened. It smelled stale. TV was good, EXTREMELY happy with the "Fresh Remote".. one of my BIG pet peeves when staying in a room is a dirty remote control. Pool was dirty. Internet was available, but couldn't connect unless outside of room. Overall it felt "sketchy", like a rent-by-the-hour hotel. Needs a MAJOR facelift!

Excellent price for a very clean and comfortable stay. Pillows were a bit hard. The microwave in office was not easy to work. The staff was very pleasant. Rooms were clean, modern and quiet. Easy location to get around.

I hadn't stayed at this place for years, but needed a place in the area and saw a good rate at the BEST WESTERN Orange Plaza. It has definitely gotten nicer than it used to be. It is not an upscale property or very fancy, but for a business and frequent traveler it has all the basics - excellent staff, decent high speed wifi, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location in central Orange County. Depending on what is going on in the area, the price is pretty reasonable and the Best Western rewards program is pretty decent. I recommend it.

Good Hotel. a little noisy from outside noises and thin walls. beds were comfortable, but pillows were to hard. Website said there were hot items, which included prepackaged waffles and jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches. Overall good experience. great value.

Motel itself is quiet, though adjacent roads are very noisy, with emergency vehicles passing thorugh frequently. Premises are clean and reasonably well-maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful, although we did have to report a basic maintenance problem (no hot water) two days in a row until it was fixed. As title of this review suggests, good value for the rate charged. Cab ride to Disneyland from hotel is about $20. Room was spacious

The property is well kept. Very clean and inviting. The gentlemen at the front desk was friendly. We live only 45 minutes away but wanted to Uber it to a party that was just down the street, so we were happy that it turned out to be pretty nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The vanity was outside the shower area so that was convenient. They also have a nice full length mirror. My only complaints are that the pillows were too hard. They were big so they looked like they would be on the softer side but nope. Way too hard. I woke up with a stiff neck which turned into a headache. My boyfriend, ended up not using a pillow at all so we didn't get much sleep because of it. We were planning on making this our place to stay when we came to OC, but I doubt it now. Also, the walls are pretty thin. It was quiet until 7:30am when the room next to us, allowed their 4 yr old to just scream and then run up and down the walkway. Good times. After 30 minutes, I finally opened the door and said please be quiet. Here's some advice, people with children only because you have to be up with your children doesn't mean the rest of the travelers need to. Please be respectable of others. I was disappointed that the management didn't handle it since it's a small place and I'm sure from the front desk they could see and definitely hear the kid.

My parents were invited to a wedding in the town of Orange and as Best Western members opted to stay at the Best Western Orange Plaza. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. On the negative side the beds were not comfortable - pillows were like logs but the bigger issue was the noise. Chapman is a VERY busy street and the hotel has no buffer to the traffic - cars, delivery trucks, and many, many emergency vehicles. It was unbelievably loud all 3 days we were there....

A hotel with just the basic room with bed and tv, they use soap dispensers instead of the little bars but they don't have one in the shower. The breakfast is not much more then juice, coffee, toast,etc. The hotel is close to CHOC.

Room interiors are up to date and very clean. The housekeepers do an amazing job. I've stayed in different rooms and all the beds are comfortable. Great location for business or vacation. Orange tax is only 10% compared to other cities like Anaheim that are 15% or more. Anaheim hotels also charge a $10 resort fee but this Best Western in Orange does not.

The one night stay was quiet and peaceful. The hotel was surrounded by places such as Star Bucks; a large corporate grocery chain and a variety of places to eat in nearby communities. The continental breakfast menu had a variety of foods to choose from. Check out went smoothly.

Short distance to restaurants, StJoseph Hospital and the freeway. Everything met my expectations. Room was pretty quite despite the hotel being next to a busy street. Lobby was clean and breakfast selection was good.

Small place, close to Disneyland. Cute small town very active downtown. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room was clean, 2 queen beds, in 1 room and a dbll size bed in another room. Room fridge, and micro wave. Carpets were worn and could use a fresh up. Not a very good selection of food for breakfast. It was quiet, and fairly close to Disneyland, we drove about 10 min. Lots of places to shop nearby, Walgreen's right next door. There was 2 small tables in the lobby to eat at but were taken up by the business men with laptops so we took our food and ate in the rooms. No elevators so you have to drag your suitcase up the stairs.The small room had no ventilation but a good size tv in it.

Stayed 10/04-10/07/15 in Room 217. The hotel was a smaller complex. Didn't look exciting from the outside but the rooms were comfortable and clean. The surrounding area seemed safe. Parking is small but adequate. We did find a space each night when we came back late. (Parking is free here, most places around Disney will charge) There were several large stains on the carpet but the rest of the carpet was clean. (Socks didn't get black). We wanted this particular room as it is 2 QN beds then a tiny room has a DBL bed in it. The bathroom has a shower/tub and toilet. Then outside is the sink with a longer vanity. This is nice so there is room for somebody to get ready while somebody else is showering. I just wish there was stronger lighting above the vanity. Most Best Westerns really lack bright lighting above their vanities. (So women, it's a bit hard to pluck our eyebrows or get a good sense of make up on our faces.) The smaller room had a nice tv, comfortable bed, and a night stand. The only complaint for this is that there is no circulation in this tiny room. The air flow comes in from the main room. So if the person in the tiny room shuts their door they will be so hot. You can open a window in this room which helped bring some air in. All BW's seem to have thin walls, so you can hear street traffic and people walking by your room. But it wasn't too bad. There was no hot tub but there was a small pool. There is no elevator so you will have to drag your luggage upstairs. They have a continental breakfast. No meats or eggs, mainly cereals, waffles to heat up in microwave, few danishes, apples, oranges, and yogurts. There is only 2 tables in the inside of the lobby to eat and a couple outside. So basically, you will have to take your food to your room to eat. Business men would take up their table with their lab top and paperwork. No room for a family to sit down. This motel is not close to Disneyland so you will need transportation to the parks. We drove and it was just a few minutes to the Toy Story Parking Lot. Very easy drive. There is a dollar tree store within walking distance. I would probably stay here again but next time bring a small fan for the other room so that the person could be comfortable.

Our family never stays at any other hotel, because we really enjoy the comfort of the rooms, the ease of parking, the breakfast that is included, and the gracious, professional, and very helpful staff. They always make sure our needs are fully met, and we only stay at Best Westerns on our vacations. It is also wonderful to be a rewards member, where we can earn points for free night stays and special offers. We really appreciate all of the perks we get when we are at a Best Western, and we feel very much at home in your hotels. We highly recommend it to other patrons.

Recently we stayed at the Best Western in Orange,CA to spend time with our daughter who is a Disney cast member and enjoy some time at Disneyland and California Adventures. We enjoyed our time at this hotel where we used a suite.The property was extremely clean and comfortable.It is close enough to get to Disneyland quickly and yet far enough aware from the hustle and bustle of the park. We highly recommend it!

The hotel is with in 10 minutes of Disney and easy freeway access ... yet a better deal than Anaheim. The City of Orange does not have the mandatory per night parking fee which Anaheim imposes on their over night guest. We will be back. The breakfast is simple. The room is clean neat.

Very surprised at the neatness, quality and professional staff at this older location.However you would never know it with very clean rooms, 50 inch flat screens and full cable. Would definitely stay there again.

When I first pulled up to this motel, I thought that I would be changing hotels, but once I went into the room, it was actually quite nice. This location is definitely a motel make-over, but it's not bad. It is convenient to the Orange circle which has a number of cute restaurants, and is about a mile away. It also has a Ralph's (full service grocery store) across the street, and a Walgreen's pharmacy next door. The breakfast is included, but mediocre. For the price, it's a decent value.

Attended a trade show at the Anaheim Convention Center. The prices that the hotels wanted were obscene. Found this hotel and read some reviews. About 7 minute car ride to the show. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bed was very comforable.Internet worked well and the breakfast was acceptable. A Great value. This hotel would make a great base for a Disneyland trip.
