Very roomy & comfortable, friendly staff clean room. Very good continental breakfast..used my rewards for the room…got my name on the vip welcome board made us feel extra special… thank you best western for a great stay. We will be back….p. Monnin family
The worst manager of all managers! I only honestly reviewed 3 stars off Google because of a hot tub with broke down jets and I was banned for my honesty! I have never ever been banned from any other hotel ever and I stay at many hotels every yr and am a clean and respectful guest! I showed up only to find I was not allowed to stay here in Omak...what a crock! Then after traveling from Kelowna I had to find other means! Choose 12 Tribes instead of here as it is way way nicer there!
This facility is very nice with clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast was generous. The location was convenient with easy access. elevators and stairwells were provided in multiple locations in the building. The hallways were well lit and wide.
We were on a long road trip and stayed here while on our way to North Cascades National Park. This Best Western was very nice. We had a spacious room that was clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We got a great dinner recommendation from the desk clerk (Breadline Cafe).
Top quality! We always stay at Best Western Plus! Fantastic customer service. Clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast choices. All assistance possible with our very late check in. We were at the hospital with a relative so the extra care was greatly appreciated.
1) our reservations were mishandled and it took me over 30 minutes on the phone and two departments to handle it today 2) you now charge an additional exorbitant fee if we want to get onto our room (which we are told is ready), only an hour before you stated check in time. 3) when I made the reservations I originally booked 4 nights. Later I realized I needed to arrive a day earlier. When I call to change my reservation to 5 nights, I was told that they couldn't change my existing reservation (it was still at least two weeks away) and that they would have to add a day by doing a new additional reservation. Ok fine if that's the only way your system will do it, I told him as long as we can stay in the same room. He told me yes 4) when I checked in I was told that me reservation was for just one night. I said check again, there should be another reservation for 4 more nights. She found it but told me that I would have to check in tomorrow morning for the additional nights ! I asked if we were going to be in the same room. She said she would check with her manager and let me know. Bree next morning I went to the front desk and she had to give me new room keys. But we did get to stay in the same room. Thank goodness for small favors. 5) we have not been given new towels or our beds made 6) your hot tub has been out of service for quite some time, according to your staff 7) your pancake machine is terrible and your coffee is undrinkable On a positive note, you front desk staff have been very friendly and helpful to the limitations and excessive charges they are forced to charge. I would suggest some major training on your reservations system. We are not likely to use a Bedt Western in the future if there is another option in the area. Nor will we be recommending you.
Very clean and nice, nice staff. Unfortunately there was a large group staying there that overwhelmed the breakfast staff so they were out of food, plates, silverware, etc. but the staff was working VERY HARD to do the best they could. We drove to the Grand Coulee Dam for the laser show, about an hour from the hotel. There are lots of stores, restaurants, etc. very close.
We overnighted in Omak before heading on and really wished we had booked a second night. The hotel is awesome - lovely and clean rooms (thats a shout out to the housekeeper, Jennifer), delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Michael & Damian are lovely young men that keep the breakfast area well stocked, clean and chatty :) Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to welcome and assist us. We plan to go back just to get away.
We were impressed by the new brand hotel as well as its cleanliness. We stayed there overnight due to my driving fatigue against the Western sunlight during the sizzling hot day. Additionally, we liked the modern shower design along with three shampoo, condition, and body soap box squeezes and we had a very good cool shower after a long hot day of drive. The mattress was so excellent to sleep comfortably overnight. Breakfast was okay in its hotel standards.
We were travelling all day and I called the hotel directly during our travels to let them know the names booked under my reservation would all be paying with their own credit cards as we would be arriving at slightly different times. Not a problem they said. I arrived last to all my friends sitting in the parking lot waiting for me as I start to panic a little thinking did I screw something up. They tell me none of them can check in until I was there. I go in and we wait for the front desk clerk and I tell him my name and that I had called earlier in the day about us checking in separate and he responds with “who did you call Expedia” I replied no i called the hotel direct and he says well there was no note left for me. I said well it's weird as our whole trip we never had issues with checking in this way. He flips a paper at me and says call the manager then. I said I don't need to call the manager and flipped the paper back at him. He slaps my id and credit card on the counter and say I will not be getting a room and I'm on video. The other 3 couples also then were denied a room and was told he was calling the cops and we had to leave the property. The most unprofessional I have ever in my life had at a hotel and will never go back. We were fortunate enough to walk across the street to the Omak Inn and given rooms and had the best polite amazing service. I will never step into a BW again if this is the type of front desk employees they want to have.
Great experience! Nice location, friendly staff, clean rooms, nicest hotel in the area. I even spoke to the front desk person in regards to a job for my mother, she was very hopeful but apparently they didn't realize how valuable of an asset she would be as an addition to the team.
We had an overall pleasant stay, thanks to the very friendly girl at check-in and the recently renovated interiors. The hotel was fresh, though the decor was a bit quirky. While the bathroom could have been cleaned better, and the pillows could have been larger, we found the city charming. The breakfast was, however, terrible with undrinkable coffee and no bagels.
The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The continental breakfast was as good as it could be. We had issues with the A/C keeping the room cool. We had it set at 60° but it would automatically shut off at 69°. With the 100° weather we really couldn't get fresh air in. The beds are pretty hard and the pillows aren't great. The towels are very thin and rough. They will clean your room once every 5 days but you can place towels and garbage bags in the hall and they are supposed to refill your area. There was no bag placed in the garbage can and they left one clean bath towel and one hand towel for two people so we had to go get extra in the lobby. In future visits we will try to find different accommodations. I'm pretty disappointed.
Staff were super helpful, kind, attentive and efficient. The property is welcoming, well maintained and clean. Pricing was very competitive!
This hotel is well situated. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was extremely clean and we appreciated the coffee maker and refrigerator.
The hotel is pretty basic but updated, in good condition and clean. We were extremely disappointed with the breakfast offerings and quality. As with most hotels, it's basic, mediocre quality food that they offer for free. We'd rather patronize a local cafe than eat inferior food just because it's free, so it's not a perk for us. The breakfast staff was super friendly, but when they completely ran out of milk one morning, no one in the hotel stepped up to the plate to go out and get some two blocks away, not even the several front desk staff that were there. They also only have regular milk, so if you can't have it, you're out of luck. The room and bed were comortable enough, but bring your own pillow if you don't want to sleep on a pillow about the size of a toss pillow. BW is the only hotel we've ever stayed in that uses these small pillows on beds, even a king size bed. Two BW's this year had the same pillows. Thankful that I remembered my king size down pillow from home. Staff are friendly when interacted with, but only one at the desk ever greeted us when we walked by in the four days we were there. Found this odd for hotel staff when they aren't even working with a guest or on the phone.
I stay here all the time, the hotel is great, BUT….. I hate the fact that there is no way to get ahold of the front desk. I can't always text them because I am over the road driver. I was able to text this last time and it took a day to get back with me. Kinda sucks.
This facility appears to be newer, and is clean and fresh. The staff is young but very friendly and helpful. Love the views of the hills and rangeland. Quiet setting and good, standard hot breakfast. Room was incredibly clean. Walk in shower with shampoo and body wash.
From the booking to the check-in, a very positive experience. Room clean, modern, and spacious. Keurig coffeemaker in the room, walk-in shower, very good breakfast and no disposable plates or tableware. And espresso drinks, paper cups - not styrofoam. Overall outstanding experience.
Very clean hotel with nice amenities and very helpful friendly staff. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Overall hotel grounds inside and out were very clean, well-kept. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful in every way, upon check in and check out. Would definitely recommend!
An error while booking meant that I booked 2 rooms instead of 1. Despite asking for a refund as a goodwill gesture (the hotel wasn't full), management refused to do so. The hotel itself was fine and the room price would have been okay if I hadn't had to pay twice.
I was greeted by friendly staff at the check in counter. They went out of their way to ensure i had everything i needed and every discount available was applied to my stay.
Cleanest motel I've stayed at. The gold standard of motels. Worth the extra price. Breakfast was good and attendants kept the area clean and organized.
This little oasis in the middle of nowhere is a must stay at if you find yourself in the Okanagan Valley of East Central Washington State. Always clean, friendly staff, very nice and comfortable rooms. Walking distance to a great restaurant.
Nice place. Very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Look for Tyrell, he is awesome. He will make your stay easy and comfortable. Breakfast are not bad. Give it a try their breakfast.
April 10/24 Had accommodation issues, took my concerns to management and it was handled in a professional manner. There were no Handicap Rooms available, (I'm in a wheelchair), safety being my main concern re using the washroom facilities. I've rewrote my previous review, I couldn't reuse the pics from the previous review, Tripadvisors policy.
I'm in a wheelchair, needed a Handicap room, the Hotel didn't have any available. My concern was the small bathroom area, had difficulty getting around in my wheelchair. Toilet seat was low, was a safety concern, no grab bars or hand rails. I couldn't close the bathroom door because I needed to use my wheelchair to get around. I can't walk, my ankles broken. I had no way to get from my wheelchair to the low toilet seat, short of plopping onto the toilet. To get up off the toilet I had to hoist myself up using the door handle. Thankful I didn't fall or it would have been a liability issue. I've reached out to Corporate management, yet to get a response? All I wanted was to be compensated for this inconvenience. My biggest concern was falling and hurting myself. We should have went elsewhere but it was late and we were tired. We didn't check the Room until we brought our luggage in, by then we were told there were no handicap rooms available.
This was a very concerning experience in a hotel. I travel every week and stay at hotels across the country. Upon sleeping in my locked on the first night, I was awoken to a stranger in my room. My key was given out to another guest and come to find out the manual lock on my hotel door did not work. I notified the front desk first thing the next morning of the occurrence and was told that they would look into it. No one called or followed up with me all day long. When I arrived back at the hotel that evening, the front desk gentleman acknowledged that it was likely that my key was given out to another hotel guest by accident. When I went back to my room, the door lock still had not been repaired. I emailed the hotel manager about the concerns and their failure to respond to the incident and received an email apologizing for any inconvenience. No one even called me to follow up. Looking back I should've called the police and filed a police report. Maybe then these serious security concerns and failure to respond to customer security concerns would be acknowledged appropriately.
I wanted to use my Canadian Gift Card and they offer the value of 40 percent to US Funds whish I guess is that how it works.... I was not able to see what the pet room surcharge was until I paid... and it was 35.00 US per night.. which is 45 to 56 canadian..so guess they are NOT pet friendly.. after many calls I did get a refund and will NEVER| stay there again..... just beware and ask all the hidden costs before u give them a credit card number !!!
We have stayed here many times over the last number of years and always had a very good experience. It has always been clean and reasonably updated, and a very good value. This stay was not the same. I really wonder if they have had a change in management. The toilet in our room was broken, the HVAC was not working correctly, and there was a bad odor by the sinks. We asked for some assistance because of the problems we had, and were told we had to speak to a manager and three days later, we still have been unable to reach one or hear from one.
We have family in Omak and we always stay here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The pool is nice for when we have kids with us. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had at a motel. I like having Keurig coffee makers in the room, a fridge and microwave. The rooms are clean and your close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.
Went here for business, and was pleased to have a spotless room with great amenities. The value for the money was great. Friendly staff, quick and easy check in. Overall I was very pleased with my stay!
The stay was quiet on the 4th floor. I was here for my job and had to sleep during the day. I was pleased with the ability of the curtains to blackout the room. The water pressure in the shower was good, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! There was also a pool table in the dining area.
This Best Western in Omak was clean and quiet. The hotel is in a great location, close to food and shopping. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious for a double. The bed was very comfortable
Top notch property and staff, being and ex travel agent I would say I am picking and this place exceeded my expectations! Will definitely return to this place when we visit area again. Thank you!!!!!!
Very clean hotel, the staff was friendly. It is walking distance to food and grocery stores. I felt safe parking my vehicle there, also had complimentary internet. The breakfast was basic hotel breakfast, eggs, sausage, etc. The only fusterating thing is the upcharge if you arrive before 4 to check in. I arrived 15 min early, and they didn't charge the fee. But I dont know if she was being nice or if they have wiggle room for the upcharge policy. I will stay here again when in the area.
Stayed here for one night. Good thing it was quiet and comfortable. We were actually pleased about the latter as our room had a lovely view overlooking the highway. Breakfast was above average and served on real plates with real flatware. But the clock in the room was unplugged (and moving the top-heavy night stand in order to plug it in was quite a challenge). The conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty Meanwhile the bath sink (which was actually located IN the room) was super-wobbly. As a result when you tried to turn the water on, it came so far forward it forced the water out of the sink and onto your feet. Still, compared to the other places we saw in town, this might be your best option.
I enjoyed my stay overall. I always stay at this Peppertree BW when in Omak, WA. It is conveniently located in Omak & meets my expectations for business. I would recommend this hotel for the area to my friends, family & associates. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the pool after a hot day .
The hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. Two small issues were not enough seating in the breakfast area and not enough sound insulation between room. Could hear next room's TV (Though they may have had the volume very high, not sure).
I'd like to give the facility 3 1/2 stars but in order to try to steer people away from the Omak Inn which is run by thieves, I'll go with four. The rates here are higher than the Omak Inn, but it is VERY worth spending the extra coin to avoid that place. This is a slightly older facility but it has been kept up nicely. It is clean and the proximity to a fine Mexican restaurant is awesome because it's a very short walk (one block) to the restaurant so no need to drive elsewhere if you like Mexican food. Check-in was slow unfortunately despite 2 people working the desk.
You are warned not to come to this property. The building itself is ok but service and cleaning are not. The comforter on our bed looked like it had snot on it. It says housekeeping is available if you text but the front desk said it isn't. You are supposed to get clean linens by putting the dirty ones outside your door and bring clean linen into the room. We put our towels out each of the 3 days and never got clean linens brought to us. When we told the manager, she said she would speak to housekeeping but no apology and no linens. There is a swimming pool but it was dirty. There is no soundproofing. We could hear people talking in the next room clearly even though they were using a normal voice. When we talked to the manager, she again didn't apologize or seem to care.
Overall, great place to stay in Omak, WA. Staff, really awesome in my opinion! They really try and will make your stay as comfortable as possible and go above your expectations. Fitness room was great, well equipped and even had water available. Breakfast...well who doesn't like biscuits and gravy!!!
The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was quick with kind front desk staff. The breakfast that was included was delicious and had a good variety of choices. We would stay again.
Recommend Check in on line ahead, do not arrive before 4 pm. Clean and nicely equipped modern Room, Good hotel amenities, pool and hot tub and good variety of choices at breakfast. Easy check-out Best Hotel in Omak
Read some of the reviews so I was wondering about staying here. Happily, we booked and it as very nice. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good Wi-Fi. There is a Subway right next store and a great Mexican restaurant just down the street.
Needs to step up on cleaning and Food Handling rules. Beds were stained, coffee maker dirty, floors not clean, refrigerator was leaking and had mold in freezer section. Toilet paper was not a new role, chair was not wipeable. Breakfast staff did not wear gloves while handling food and food area.
the room I was staying in was not properly cleaned. I found fake black and gold acrylic nails on the floor right in front of the sink. It grossed me out. They were in plain sight, not even under the sink. I did not notice until I was getting ready the morning of for departure, as we arrived only to sleep there after visiting family for Mother's Day. I brought it to the attention of the staff when we were checking out that the room had not been properly cleaned. They apologized- and gave an explanation that the housekeeper had just been let go. Nonetheless, they offered to put points on a rewards card towards our next stay. No sooner than after departing, my phone alerts me of a charge. I call the hotel to ask about it, and they claim that I had smoked in the room. They went on to say there was ashes in the window sill. For one, I do not smoke. Period. I was very upset when the staff became unreasonable and treated me like I was a very low class citizen- with no rights. The way the staff handled the situation was far from customer care or service. They didn't even let me talk- they accused me of “smoking” in the room, when the room had not been properly cleaned in the first place. The audacity of it, had me extremely upset- that they could do this & charge me for someone else's mistake! I don't know if it was because I complained about the room being dirty and having nails on the floor, in attempt to get back at me, or by assumption.
The staff were great! Happy to help with anything we needed. The guy at the front desk even took the time to show us a couple different rooms so that we could decide which one best fit our needs for our stay.
NOT PLEASED... IF anything goes wrong at this BW hotel in Omak, do not expect a real reply back! Just expect an automated reply like I got! Then I mentioned to the manager by a regular email sent that I prefer a real reply back and just received an ignore only! NOT GOOD! Days later too and nada! This to me is just horrid service and just a brush off. I think any BW branded manager should 1st know how to actually respond back to a customer, a GOLD customer at that! She must have missed this important aspect in her so called training! Not pleased or impressed when you just got an ignore and have to 2 star review a place! Let's see if she just auto replies to this review too! Stayed on Jan 31 and today is Feb 3/23
The parking area should have been a bit cleaner due to the snow. The housekeeping department should do a better job by cleaning the trash by the elevator. And after 10pm if the front doors are locked the attendant vshould verify someone coming in at 3:30am for their safety.
This was our first time at Best Western Peppertree, absolutely fabulous. Our room was super clean, front desk staff as well as all staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. We will be back again very soon.
Peppertree is great!!! Best Western Corporate not so much. We were traveling late and needed three rooms so went to the internet and the first entry said Best Western. Come to find out it was a third party and we did not find out till four days after the stay. Lost rewards point for the stay. Not the first time this year. Just really disappointed with Best Western when we make the effort to use BW exclusively and they do this stuff to us. Peppertree yes Best Western maybe!!! Do better on you website so that it is the first to come up it will work a lot better for your image!!!!
A very pleasant surprise at the end of a long day!!… Clean, Comfortable and Relaxing room with great amenities… The beds were just the right balance between firm and soft, cooling system was efficient and QUIET, shower was awesome…. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and plentiful along with great coffee!!… Staff is efficient, courteous and efficient along with very helpful… Only thing that could have enhanced our visit would have been a chair and table in the laundry room…. Do yourself a favor when in the Omak area and stay Here!!
The staff at Omak Peppertree are wonderful! Great place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms as well. Definitely my first choice for accommodations in Omak. The breakfast is decent with lots of choices and good coffee.
When checking in they couldn't find a room for me. The check in process took over 45 mins. I used the text link to pre check in and that was a waste of my time. There was spider web with babies on my window. I requested extra pillows and towels and had to wall to the front desk to have my request fill despite constant text messages about their texting service. Check out process was waiting another 40 mins because there wasn't an employee in site.
We were visiting friends and brought our two young children who loved the pool, the TV options, and breakfast. It was a great value which feels hard to find these days and the person in charge of breakfast was so sweet with our kiddos!
So we are kinda booked the room at the last minute and syl was professional and helpful she also patient .Thank for waiting and solve our problems! We had good time staying over there and hopefully we can come another day!
Traveled from Escondido California to visit a very good friend of my husbands! We have always stayed with in the Marriott chain of hotels because of our timeshare. No Marriotts in Omak but I have to say that this being one of our first experiences with Best Western it was a first class experience. very clean and accommodating! Continental breakfast was spectacular. Lots of choices and the food was hot! Highly recommend this Best Western.
Y'all were understanding when my debit card declined and were patient while I dealt with my bank. Also, I appreciate that you are mailing my uncorked bottle of wine that I forgot in the refrigerator! Thank-you!
Stopped overnight on a trip to Whidbey Island. Got there early and checked in. The room was clean and pet friendly. It was 100 degrees + in Omak but the AC kept us cool. The front desk was friendly and efficient and when asked gave us ideas for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and FREE. Checkout was quick and efficient and we were on our way.
Good breakfast, except no Gravy on Weekends - just a dried up biscuit. Horrible!!! Charging $150 a night, but a disappointing breakfast, no jets in the hot tub (I could have sat in the room tub and had the same experience). Staff was great, but my overall experience was very disappointing.
Good location staff friendly broke trip up easy to enter Canada the people of Omak were very friendly.. staying in small towns helps the these towns survive. Take a chance you never know what you will encounter. BW took a chance
Rooms are mainly clean with the bathrooms being the least and the bedding could use a wash a little more often. Staff is very friendly and accommodating with the exception of the individual that vacs the halls and bangs the door 2 or 3 times. The pool isn't open during the week in which we found odd as there are many workers who would enjoy it after a hard day!! Overall good stay.
Large parking lot . Check was quick and clerk was friendly. Made me feel welcome. In the morning great breakfast and staff again were friendly and happy. Room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the pool was closed. Like to relax in hot tub after a long day
So many things went wrong - chiefly, I think, reflecting poor management. -- Far too little food provided at breakfast - many items out by 8:00 am. -- We stayed two nights and asked for housekeeping the second day. It was promised but never performed. Best we could get was an inadequate number of fresh towels. -- Staff at the desk yawning and not an "excuse me" of any sort. -- Snippy staff in the breakfast room - clearly the result of many unhappy customers. -- At the desk at checkout, the woman who appeared to be the manager asked how the stay was - could only offer platitudes and canned responses to my recitation of all the deficiencies we encountered. --
The room was not very clean. A bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. However the hotel is located in a great location. The shower had great water pressure and long lasting hot water. Good selection of breakfast food. I would stay here again but need the room to be cleaner.
Very clean, housekeeping and the staff at breakfast deserve a huge kudos! Didn't get any of their names other than Celia who brought us extra linens. Very clean and would definitely recommend to anyone needing to stay in Omak!
We always look to Best Western hotels on trips, especially road trips. Have had very few disappointments. Clean, large rooms, good breakfasts for hotels. There aren't a lot of hotels in Omak, and this one did not disappoint. Like a lot of areas in eastern WA the pool and hot tub are not outside due to the cold winters. The room rate was good for the quality. I recommend it if you are staying in Omak.
I recently stayed the night at Best Western Peppertree in Omak. It was a pleasant stay. The staff, from the people behind the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast room were friendly and professional. They all seemed to be happy to be there and to help their guests. They were very welcoming. The room was comfortable, bed was nice and there was plenty of hot water. All the things I look for in a business travel room. While I could hear normal motel noise, it was overall quiet. The breakfast room was clean and well equipped. Everything was hot and fresh. My only small disappointment was that my key card would not work on the outside doors. Another guest needed to let me in after a late night trip to the store. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I'd recommend to others.
Fast check-in, great breakfast, great internet! The rooms were clean, great water pressure, the bed was comfortable, pillows should be bigger, air conditioner was on the noisy side, excellent value and awesome recreation in the hotel.
I booked my room on website it said pool was 24hr I got there and was told it's only open until 10 that was the first issue then we got changed quickly so we could go to pool before bed the hot tub was barely warm and the jets were broken and the pool was so cold we couldn't stay in it. The beds are so horrible to sleep on they need replaced if I didn't have second night booked I would of left but I would of forfeited money. We decided second evening to go to pool and hot tub hoping it had got better since first night to find it closed completely. Was told it would be opened later, we finally got to go in after 4 hrs and nothing had improved the whole reason I booked this motel and paid more is to have pool and hottub for my kids for entertainment. Twice while we were there they closed pool for cleaning.....why don't they do that at night when people aren't trying to enjoy it. I did enjoy the staff who were amazing and the kuerig coffee pot in my room.
The staff messed up our reservation and we were told “oops all is fine the girl this morning wasn't doing her job” and continued to laugh about it. Also an employee walked into our room without knocking.
Stay was great. We were staying there for the Winthrop Balloon Festival. The pool was full of kids...plus none of us brought our suits so we didn't get to use the pool. We had to leave early so we didn't get to experience the breakfast either. The room was nice and the beds comfortable. The only issue were the room lights. We went into the room and turned on the door light...nothing. I turned on the sink light and desk light....still nothing. The only lights that worked were the two bed side lamps. I started walking down to the desk when my daughter yelled out to me that she had figured it out. There is a slot below the door light that you have to put in your room key to have lights. You have to leave it in the whole time otherwise the lights turn off. It would have been nice for the desk clerk to tell me about that.
We made reservations online for a handicapped - 2 Queen Bed room for 2 adults and 1 child. What we got was a King Bed, a chair and a table....nowhere for the child to sleep! When I called the front desk, I was told that we didn't reserve for 3 people and that none of their rooms for handicapped were queens only king and they didn't offer ones with sofa-beds as advertised on the website. When I signed back into my Best Western online account, I discovered that it did show 3 people and NOW a king room.....but online still says this room should have had a sofa-bed! I then asked could we at least get a room with 2 Queens even if NOT handicapped and was told "YES, but it will be an additional charge at the regular rate for the same two nights!" I was furious, as can be expected. I told the clerk that she should cancel the checkin and we would go elsewhere and was told she couldn't do that either. I told her paying for 2 rooms was not an option! After FINALLY calling her manager, she gave us the room with 2-Queens. Then other issues began. Having began our check-in at 6:30pm and thinking that we still had time to go for dinner, by the time every thing was done, we ate Kentucky Fried Chicken as everything else was closed. At 1am we discovered the toilet wouldn't flush, the phone didn't work and the bathroom door sounded like something out of a horror movie! Don't trust what you see at the parent company online sites OR when you call ahead to confirm what you are getting. These guys just want you money and nothing else!
The staff are excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel. Two computers in the main lobby area and a very clean lobby. The location is good with a few restaurants within walking distance and just off highway 97.
Check in person had no idea what he was doing and tried to get me to sign an incorrect invoice. Heater/Ac unit sounded like a wood chipper. Childs birthday party next door made it impossible to get any rest. Sink was cracked.
Second time staying at this hotel Each time the front desk staff were wonderful. And the included breakfast was Loaded with everything you could ever want. The staff there were right on top of everything and helping all who needed it Great place to stay. Thanks Revelstoke
You guys were great! Had to book a hotel room very quickly, you guys made it very easy online! Austin at the front desk was particularly great! Very helpful and professional. He even ask us what floor we wanted which we loved bc my son wanted the top floor, and he got it for us! Everything was amazing! Thanks!
Elizabeth, Erica, Jeanette and the breakfast guy were amazing. Thank you so much.my son was recently paralyzed and we stayed there instead of with family for me to be able to take a break from the hospital in Spokane. They were very nice and super sympathetic to our situation.
Walking into the lobby and the front desk was a very nice and clean experience. The desk staff was very professional and attentive. However, the room and service quality were lacking. Our room smelled... like... a honey bucket. I mentioned this at the front deck, but it did not get resolved. It seemed like no follow-up on that occurred at all. I regret not using the text service to report that, but was trying to be discreet. We had a leaky shower head that never got fixed when reporting it. That WAS reported on the text service. The instructions in the room said to put the towels and the garbage can in the hall to get clean replacements. While we got an empty garbage can, there were no towels. I'd expect that service would leave them IN THE ROOM rather than IN THE HALLWAY (where they likely got liberated by other guests). We had to go down to the front desk for towel replacements, but only got bath towels, nothing else... The room quality did not meet the price point. The sheets were wrinkled and looked like they were left from the previous guest. The comforter on the bed was threadbare and had stains. The couch in the room looked like it'd be more in place in someone's apartment as "hand-me-down" furniture, based on the wear and tear. Any one of them is a minor inconvenience, but combined...? And... that smell... ew. Hopefully if we have to stay here again it will improve. I will not fully discount that possibility.
I booked a room for a Thanksgiving getaway; online, with my BW rewards card. I generally have a good experience with BW, but this was definitely NOT one of them. Noisy guests in nearby rooms kept me from getting to sleep. The first guest across the hall quieted down but the guests in room next to me did not. Two phone calls to front desk did not solve the problem. In fact, it was made out by the front desk clerk to be my problem. On the second call, he said he couldn't do anything and that perhaps I should leave. It was midnight. So I finally went to the offending guests next door, knocked on their door, which they would not open; but I told them I couldn't sleep and would they please be quiet. And they finally were. I was offended by Nathan, the clerk who dismissed my complaint as being unreasonable. The GM, although somewhat understanding, did not give me a refund. Next time I'll go to Hampton, which has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. BW charges Hampton prices but gives sub par service, at least this one did. Not staying there again,.
Was so impressed with the team that helped us with our stay. We arrived late after driving through a snow storm. They accommodated us with a room on the ground floor near an exit to meet the needs of our elderly dog. They were extremely polite and immediately put us at ease. Can't recommend high enough. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast offered a variety of options to start your day right.
Peppertree is clean with comfortable furnishings, beautiful decor, and very friendly helpful staff. We are looking forward to visiting and doing more sight seeing in Okanogan County; Peppertree is where we will stay.
Bed/Sheets/Pillows were thin and uncomfortable. Shower door was dirty. Toilet was dirty with "yuk" around the floor beside the toilet. Though the front desk staff were very pleasant, the total experience was NOT.
Good solid Hotel. Good comfortable beds. This was our first stay on our first outing after getting fully vaxed and coming back out into the world and even though we were here in June at what was probably the safest time to travel, it still felt weird. Pizza Hut cant deliver because of covid restrictions but its right down the street and they have a drive through. Hotel is taking all proper covid precautions. Grab an go breakfast and masks on all staff. We felt safe here. As safe as anywhere in this crazy new world.
Our air conditioning did not work. It was 80 degrees in the room and they would not move us to a different room. They gave us an electric fan instead. I was told the manager would contact me regarding a discount on my next stay to make up for our extremely hot room. She never contacted me. I was very disappointed with our stay.
Pretty standard BW. Room was great. Breakfast was perfect (breakfast sandwich) especially in regards to Covid 19. Staff was all very nice with a swift check in and check out. Bonus, there was bottle opener mounted in my room
I was pleasantly surprised by this Best Western. It was very comfortable and the service was nice. They do offer a modified free breakfast. Their gym and pool are now open with limitations but we did not use them. I just believe that the hotel was way overpriced ($176 for one night) and they charge you an additional fee *about $35) that sits on your credit card for an additional 3-5 business days which in my extensive business travel experience is not standard. There are limited options for hotels in Omak so if you want to stay here, this is your best option unless you want the smoky casino. We were just on our way through town.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice & clean and the pool was also clean and warm. We visited family, location was perfect. Enjoyed being able to get a cup of coffee any time available in lobby. We would definitely be back.
It was very hot, 100° outside when we arrived. The lady at the desk handed us cold bottles of water. We had used express check-in, so it was done quickly. The location is handy to highway 97, so it was easy to get to the hotel and easy to get back on the highway the next day. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
Pleasant friendly staff. Nice lobby. Very clean good size room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a motel. Decent hot continental breakfast which we received quickly. Nice and clean seating area for our breakfast. Wifi was easy to access.
They gave multiple keys to our room and someone else tried to gain access on 2 different occasions. The front desk called in the middle of the night asking who we were. Complained to manager who didn't care.
We stay here every couple of years when in the area. It's consistently clean, comfortable, and the folks who work here are great. Walmart and Safeway are right there, which is also helpful if you need to pick something up.
We stayed 1 night at the Best Western in Omak and would recommend it. The employees were friendly and responsive from front desk to breakfast. Breakfast followed restrictions without a buffet, but several options were available including hot food and we were able to make substitutions to the options to get what we could eat. The hotel was clean and well kept - nothing ultra fancy but more than we expected in a small town. I liked the room set-up with the separation of toilet/shower from the sink/make-up area. Our king bed was super comfortable and internet worked well. We didn't use the pool, but we saw others who did and they looked to be having fun. Overall we would recommend and would definitely stay here again.
It's looks beautiful on the outside, I think it's probably the best for the city but honestly it wasn't great. The door didn't work, the tv, the beds were hard and the room wasn't cleaned. The swimming and the gym was great is all.
We were a group of four adults, one child and two dogs. We were all very comfortable and happy with the accommodations. You could tell the hotel took COVID19 cleanliness serious. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Omak.
Nice place, definitely showing wear and tear. I hope the other rooms are in better shape then the room I had. The rooms are large and spacious. Bathroom had PLENTY of room to move around, albeit the toilet paper was behind the door. Everything seemed clean in the bathroom, shower, and bed. The couch looked beat up and worn out. The wall and ceiling showed signs of leaking, cracking and poor maintenance.
I have been traveling to the Omak area on business for over the last five years. The staff has always been professional and extremely helpful. The rooms are always clean but are beginning to show their age. This hotel compared to others in the area, is hands down the best
Very good appearance on arrival, all security features worked, well lit at night. Staff was friendly and happy. Interior was clean and fresh, met all covid regulations for time period. Breakfast was take-out with some seating avail in breakfast area. Our room was adjacent to elevator, you could not here any elevator sound, very good.
From time to time I have to travel to Omak for business. For years I have stayed here. On the rare occasion that I was unable to get a room here, I was reminded of have nice it is here by the disappointment I felt at other places
Being in such a remote area, I didn't have great expectations. This Best Western was a pleasant surprise! Clean, updated, no-frills hotel experience with very friendly staff. It's not a luxury hotel, so don't expect amenities beyond what a travelers hotel would have. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Their grab and go breakfast was the best I've seen from hotels during the pandemic, and the staff working it were so friendly and kind. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and it will definitely be our first choice next time we are in the area!
Our cat jumped out and followed my son out of the truck where we kept her when we were getting ready to check out. She followed him inside the hallway apparently and he didn't notice. We contacted the desk to notify them and looked all over but never saw her. My family is very distressed over our missing cat and on top of that we were charged a pet fee double our room cost because our cat got in the hotel hallway. The manager said there were eye witness of the cat inside but I was told when I called later to see if anyone had seen the cat that a young boy had seen or had been asking about a cat in the hallway. That was my son. So without any reason or issue since somehow they attributed the cat to us, with no issue caused, I have a huge charge and a still missing cat. No one ever saw the cat, we just assumed that's what happened. Called multiple times, manager refused to reverse the charges, and was less than helpful.
Convenient to roads, gas, food, shopping, and general area. Weekend breakfast started too late for me. Hot breakfast take away was served (pandemic protocol). The rooms and hotel were clean and quiet. Some traffic noise is subtle on the even room side that faces the highway. Nearby gas stations, restaurants, fast food, groceries, sporting goods and a casino. About 30 min from Tonasket, 1 h from sno-park on Havillah Rd.
Over all rooms were good, no tub only showers so was inconvenient for kids. Old tobacco chew spit bottles and cups were found under the edge of beds, floors had debris including glass my husband stepped in. That was the only issue. Lovely Hot breakfast served in the am.
The Peppertree Inn at Omak is our preferred choice of accommodations when in the area on business. The hotel is fairly new, well laid out, with all the typical amenities, plus some extras like a game room, with billiards tables. Due to Governor Apple Maggot Inslee's lockdown of Washington State, we were unable to use the pool or hot tub, but in the past both have been very clean and relaxing. The Staff was very friendly and helpful when we experienced a problem with the HVAC in our room, they promptly relocated us with minimum inconvenience to a new room directly across the hall from our old room. We experienced no bandwidth issues with the WiFi, and breakfast was good, served in a sanitary and professional manner. I recommend staying here if overnight in Omak WA.
Broken heating, broken doors, extremely loud, and the beds were terrible. When brought to the staffs attention, the simply told us they would “tell the maintenance man” One of the worse nights sleep ever in a hotel. Doors don't work from the outside entrance.
The staff of the hotel were friendly and professional. The hotel was clean along with the rooms. The food selection during breakfast was sufficient (modified because of COVID-19). It unfortunate that the fitness was closed because of COVID-19 and the unnecessary shut down order issued by the Governor of Washington.
Employees were very helpful and polite. Though the pool was open by reservation the Hot Tube was not functioning, not much warmer than the Pool. One thing about Best Westerns the Pools are always way to cold. Beds are rock hard, both my wife and I found we woke up multiple times with sore hips.
Too many times I hear that great service cannot be provided due to COVID. BW Plus Peppertree has proved this wrong, I have stayed with them 3 times in the last 6 months and I have always received excellent service. They still provide a hot breakfast when so many hotels have stopped. They take the safety of their staff and customers very seriously and I appreciate their dedication. OUTSTANDING!!
I stayed for one night, but was charged for two nights. I booked two rooms for the same night. I confirmed on checking in that my family and I were only there for the one night. Due to social distancing, we were encouraged to use express checkout. When we left the next morning, the front desk was busy with other guests and my granddaughter was delighted to return the keys for both rooms in the little key dropoff box. I received the receipts by email, extremely small print on my phone, thought the charge for both rooms looked right. Only when I looked at my credit card bill, did I see that they had charged me correctly for my daughter's room, but had charged me for two nights for my room. I called the hotel, expressed my unhappiness (not very pleasantly, I must confess), but their response was that I signed the receipt so it was my problem. Despite emails and phone messages, management did not contact me to discuss the problem. We will not stay here again.
Was like an oasis at the end of a long drive from Western Washington. Hotel is very clean and modern and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Lots of parking available. Was nice there was a pool, even though I never actually used it. Because of COVID-19, breakfast was served by masked and gloved employees with social distancing enforced. Hotel took excellent precautions to protect its guests. We lacked for nothing at this hotel. The only complaint I had was that their TV in the dining area was tuned in to Fox News and when I asked to have it changed, they said they lost the remote.
This place used to be the best and when you have something that nice and that new you've got to hire people who know how to clean. Thier breakfast Room the last time we stayed was utterly disgusting. Not a place you wanna go when you're not home and you're not in your own kitchen only to find the person they have working in their kitchen probably does not clean their own. The pool was cold very cold and cloudy in fact we saw a band-aid floating in the pool. And it was barely visible because the water was so cloudy you could hardly see the bottom in the deep end. I believe 8 ft! I know there's not that many pools and Washington State but you dont hire a yardman to work on a public pool that can carry disease. Leave the orchadists to orchards not pools. They hired basically an entire family and that is very unprofessional when the wife has a husband who can't work and she gets him a job at her place of work trust me that's exactly what it looks likes going on down there and they do not clean. It was almost like walking into their home now all of a sudden and definitely not a place that you've paid your hard earned money forward to stay at. You're better off having a birthday party at your own home because you might catch something in their pool or their hot tub. The place used to be great we would stay there and do the birthday parties once a year but not anymore they need to hire new staff and it would also help if they would hire staff that spoke English clearly AND understood it. No thats not racist to ask to speak English and speak it clearly. Don't we have children in speech classes for the same thing when we can't understand what they say?! I cant stand the baby talk b.s. when I'm talking about MY comfort, MY family and MY money and MY safety then they make mistakes and the customer eats it. I literally almost contacted the real owner as it also looks like they pay extras under table and they have a very bad clientele hanging around there. To our discovery they work there and we will not be staying as long as they are running an unsafe place to stay. If the owner sees this you need to visit your hotel before it gets shut down for illegal activities. How can you advertise a place for elderly when you know the people you have there aren't safe for an elderly to be around. They're always hanging out and around and it really doesn't look good. This is a small town and you will lose all the locals money if you haven't already. Your hiring manager is no good!!!! Not a peppertree style at all. Maybe she would be great for the motel 6 where they leave light on for EVERYONE and thats NOT the hotel we want!
Even with covid nonsense our stay was great. Room, bed, breakfast, staff all great. Pet friendly no issues with the breed of our dogs. We had to add another night and staff was able to do that no problem
Staff were very friendly and room was clean. Only stayed one night and it is still my go to Hotel stay when we go once or twice a year. I have brought my niece, husband, and aunt with me on multiple trips and they have enjoyed their stay!!
Stayed for one night in mid June. Huge room, king bed, glorious AC. Next morning the staff was making hot breakfast sandwiches and to go bags which was fantastic and we appreciate it. Also we were able to partake of happy hour beer specials when we checked in. Would recommend.
Very nice hotel, very friendly staff. The hotel has nice rooms, good working internet. The decor is modern, and very well maintained. It is located in a convenient location with close proximity to the local restaurants.
I stayed one night. I really appreciated the attention to the health of guests & staff during the Covid-19 era. I also appreciated the comfortable bed & quiet room. The breakfast was take-away and thoughtfully served by the dining room staff.
We didn't make reservations ahead but saw this place e driving through. The hotel was amazingly clean and looked brand new! The lobby was gorgeous, even had a pool table for families to enjoy in the back. Didn't have time for the pool or hot tub but wish we did. Room smelled great and Emma's large with everything we needed. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, job well done!
While driving 3,000+ miles on a meandering road trip from Flagstaff to Bellingham, Washington, and back, we pulled off the State Highway 20 and spent an August Saturday night here. Many other reviews for this off the highway / small town hotel are glowing, and we concur. For our 33rd hotel review overall, we found this Best Western to be very nice, pet friendly, convenient and just what we wanted on a long road trip. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. The affordable king bed two-room suite was very clean and large with muted earth toned décor with simple prints on the walls. The suite contained a separate bedroom with an additional TV, a very large counter with double sinks, a comfortable sitting area, decent towels and very powerful air conditioning (photos attached). We had a minor maintenance problem in the bathroom; the front desk staff sent up a maintenance man who was a bit of a comedian, but he did not rest until he fixed the problem. The complimentary breakfast was decent; among the offerings were Eggs, Sausages, Potatoes, Waffles and Fruit. The seating area was large and comfortable. Our bottom line, we had a very pleasant stay and decent breakfast here. If we are ever back in Omak, we would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful stay in Omak. We were there for my sister's 90th birthday and everyone was so kind! Thank you to all the workers in the breakfast room, Veronica, Cheyenne, and Josephine. The room was great and clean. The views of the mountains was great. Thank you for everything! We will be back! Also, a very comfortable bed!
The place was clean and bright, our room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed one night and enjoyed playing pool and watching the Seahawks game in the lobby, and were able to do our laundry and have a nice breakfast before continuing on our way the next day. Everyone at check-in and check-out was so nice. There were also little touches like cold lemon water in the lobby that made it very welcoming. I had literally no complaints, and I can usually find one. LOL
The Omak Pepper Tree has always been our favourite place to stay on route to further destinations or local activities such as the christmas parade and events surrounding it. Great friendly staff, peacful location and excellent breakfast. Rooms are always clean and room service is very helpful. Has everything we require for a family with a small child.
We try to stay at a hotel about once or twice a month so that we can do some shopping without having to travel a long distance. Peppertree has always been our favorite with quiet and comfortable rooms
I visit family in Omak, WA quite often and when we are able to get a hotel room, we always stay at the Best Western Peppertree and my family really enjoys it. It is always comfortable for me and my kids.
In Omak for work. There are four or five hotel/motels in town and this one appears to be a little newer and nicer than some of the others but it is very basic and a little underwhelming. Had to stay in town over the weekend and work. Hoped to grab some breakfast on Saturday but the breakfast room was dark at a quarter after 7. They did have breakfast ready when I tried a little later on Sunday but it was kind of a letdown. Black bananas, yogurt from a machine (not fro-yo) and a warmer I've runny oatmeal. Asked for a quiet room which they did put me on the top floor in the corner but the air conditioning unit was so noisy every time it kicked in it didn't make much difference. Add to that every time you turn the TV on it's blaring loud. Every time I turned the TV on it was at 24 and just for reference sake a comfortable volume was 8- until the air-conditioning unit turned on. I did not find the bed particularly comfortable either. The shower was actually fine, nothing fancy but adequate. As I said it was on the fourth floor and my key deactivated a day early. Went to go back downstairs to get it fixed but there was a kids birthday party occurring and they were apparently playing with the elevators so back down the stairs I went. The the last morning While packing up, I did try to work around the spider that was making his way across the room. Not a fan of spiders. As I said after driving around town I think this is probably one of the better options but just understand it is not an exceptional option. There is a subway and a bar grill within walking distance on the same block.
I would highly recommend this hotel the cleanliness and the staff are fantastic the amenities are wonderful and the breakfast is great we were home alone this year for Christmas we thought what the heck why don't we just get away and stay at Peppertree in Omak it's a nice little getaway and it was nice that the casino was open 24 seven and then we could have Christmas dinner there
This property is very clean and easy to locate. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. On top of all the great employees, they are pet friendly.
The whole staff was very friendly and helpful and seemed to go out of their way to answer questions or be of assistance, of course there was limited staff at times and they were inundated with guests checking now and then. The room was a great value, maybe due to being off season, but it was a sweet deal. They limit how many guests we could have at a pool birthday party for my daughter, but were a little flexible on the number and it all worked out. We got to use the conference room and pool for the party all for the cost of a room for the night. We got a great room to retire and relax in with wife and kids after hosting and cleaning up from a successful birthday party.
This is a great modern finished place with a great location. Stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday close to all the big box stores for shopping. Lots of fast food options to choose from. Room clean and comfy, a continental breakfast is offered. I do plan on returning to this property and will recommend it to others.
Stayed here for business. They asked for my personal debit card for "incidentals". They theb wronlgy charged my card for over 200 dollars... TWICE! the worst part is that they are telling me it will take 7 to 10 days to reverse the charge. They also refuse to send an email documenting the wrongful charge without approval from their owner and or attourney. Then the treat me like it is some how my fault. Nice room.. But never let them touch your card...never...
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was well stocked. The AC system worked well and the fan was quiet. Very little noise from other rooms and got a good sleep. TV worked well.
This fairly new Best Western is located between a city street and a busy highway. We had a room on the back (street side) and the traffic noise wasn't too bad. When we checked in and later needed some help from someone at the desk, I had to wait for quite a while for assistance. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the usual stuff.
We went on a road trip on the Cascade Scenic Loop so decided to spend the night here. It has been a few years since our last stay. Very ice remodel on some of the rooms, nice clean, USB ports to hook up to and nice shower. A new twist was a wet bar with a bartender. Cold beer or wine and a pizza if you wanted. Nice add on to the stay. I would definetly stay here again and wold recommend this place. All the staff we ran into were polite and courteous.
amazing staff, clean, up to date. Pool clean, hallways super clean. Walls a little thin, but not bad. No freezer, safe area with foodie options all around. Our 2nd trip up there and so glad we stayed here. Bed super comfy, but be advised our breakfast on this stay was pretty awful. burnt, cold, yucky.
This is a really nice, clean, quite and safe hotel. Great evening reception, and a nice morning breakfast. Very nice area, hotel looks great at night with the lights, and easy to spot. Great restaurant a half of a block away.
This hotel was nicely appointed and comfortable. Room was quiet. Spacious bathroom. Used the fitness center; small but had what I needed - used the treadmill. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of choices. Great value for routine night's stay.
Clean affordable hotel with many good amenities. Appreciate the friendly staff that go above and beyond to take care of my family. Amenities included weekend happy hour that is welcoming and provides a relaxed casual atmosphere.
I travel in northern Washington quite often, and find the staff and Best Western Plus Peppertree Inn in Omak, to be one of the friendliest around. I would recommend to anyone who asks you will have a relaxing enjoyable stay.
Beautiful remote location. Steppe region. New hotel, all comfort but a bit sterile. Needs some decoration. Very good bed and towels, typical of the Best Western Hotels. Nice outdoor evening lighting. Good breakfast. A bit pricy.
My wife and I spend a night here in mid-September. The reception staff were friendly. However, I was initially given the room key to someone else's room. As soon as we stepped into the room, I saw someone else's bags were unpacked and their property was placed around the room. We immediately went back to the reception desk to advise them, and to get another room. What also bothered me about this mix-up is what if the person who got this wrong key had not been honest? They could have stolen the person's property, and the cleaning staff would get the blame. We were given another room but it seemed dim and dingy for a newer-looking hotel like this. The decor reminded me of Eastern Europe, more than an American hotel. When I went into the bathroom, I found the bath towel was thin, raggedy and had stains on it (like blood). Why had the cleaning staff not noticed this? Again, I had to go back downstairs to exchange the towel. In the room, I saw the TV cabinet was also battered and scratched up. The bathroom was small in size, and the door had to be closed to easily reach the toilet paper dispenser. The hotel does have a pool, hot tub, fitness room, billiard table, lots of parking, and an evening reception with beer. The free breakfast was average in taste and choices. Since there are few modern 3-star hotels in the Omak area, I would stay here again only if I could not find another place first.
Once you get past the arrogant and poorly trained front desk staff, the remainder of the stay was fine. The hotel is modern and well maintained. Rooms are clean and in good condition, and were small, but not cramped. Vanity was in the room; bathroom had a walk-in shower (no tub). Window opens. While there were numerous lamps, the energy efficient lighting was annoyingly dim. Refrigerator and microwave were present. Breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold items.
AC in room would not shut off, TV missing NBC and FOX. Was in room for less than 10 minutes, did not unpack. Went to front desk and said product was not satisfactory and we did not want the room. We were refused a refund.
Great place to stay!!! Staff is very friendly, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast bar was well stocked. Besides a pool/spa, they have a fitness center, and even have a pool table! We will be back on our next trip through!
Spent one night here on our way back to Spokane from Alaska. Check-in fast by friendly Staff Member. We had a nice large quiet comfortable room. A good free Breakfast. Several restaurants near by. The only negative GPS took us to other side of town. Will stay here next time we are in Omak. This stay exceeded our expectations, a great motel for a small town.
Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, relatively quiet, staff was very pleasant Great location walking distance to a mall & some food outlets. I don't like those silly small sized pillows but its what every place is using now.
Outstanding accommodations at this oasis in Omak. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. The large room was lacking nothing! Very comfortable bed, pillows, and linens. Large walk in shower with a great shower head and water pressure. Good selection of breakfast items and very large seating area with plenty of tables. Good to see no single use plastic plates or utensils. Washable plates, bowls, coffee mugs, and flatware. Very responsible to our environment...
Great little hotel. Stay here often. Clean, white, comfortable. Nice breakfast. Close to stores, restaurants . Nice indoor pool. Happy hour offered. Nice for families. Dog friendly if necessary. Check it out
Peppertree was clean and quiet. We'll be staying there again. I recommend this hotel. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available. They will accommodate if you have a group to stay by each other
I experienced great customer service from staff. The room was clean, large, modern, and had all the amenities one would want. The shower water was hot, there were many accessible outlets in the room. The décor was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous, with exceptional offerings, including both sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy and more. I've stayed at this hotel before and always leave with a smile on my face after the experience I've had. The weekly evening happy hour is an added bonus, too.
Nice hotel in the dessert, to stay in on at roadtrip. Great staff in reception. Clean and nice room. Wifi okay undtil about 10 pm. Breakfast was crowded, to many quest at the same time. There were NOT enough hot food.
Check-in was less than desirable. The solo attendant was distracted constantly, and did not get the apply my gift card to the room charge. It was only at check-out, that I had discovered this, and was assure this wold be applied against my credit card.
Hotel was great, a little off the beaten path but very well located and easy access back to the loop. Nice Casino 2 miles away, drinks were reasonable price, live music was great, Breakfast was good but not as good as other BW+ i have stayed at in the past.
This hotel property is very clean, neat, and comfortable. Check-in was quick and clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was energy effecient which was our first experience with an energy effecient room, but the clerk explained how to use it when we checked-in and it was easy to use. We enjoyed out stay.
The hotel is way understaffed which makes everything go wrong. Will / would not stay here again! The food was cold and the motel is dingy. Some of the staff was very rude and others were great. Came in on a motorcycle expecting a hot tub but it was broken.!?
We stayed one night in this hotel and was very impressed. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was very spacious - loved having 2 sinks outside of the washroom. Room had both a fridge and microwave. Hotel was within walking distance of a small shopping centre so conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Washington.
Clean newer property... easy and large parking . The usual amenities in room , fridge, coffee etc. Room was quiet even being close to the hwy. several restaurants within walking distance and a good selection at breakfast. Would stay again if in the area .
I have stayed at this hotel 10 to 15 separate times in the past. I have been extremely happy (would have given 5 stars) with the hotel every stay except for my most recent. Multiple major items (HVAC, toilet, etc.) were broken or non-functioning, which would lead me to believe there is a possible maintenance department issue. That said, the biggest issue this stay was that I left a bag in the room which had disappeared by the next morning when I had an opportunity to call. When I checked back in person the staff showed little concern that the bag had been lost. I had to ask multiple times before they would double check, which leads me to believe they knew the bag would not be turned in.
Stayed here last minute with my wife and kids to show the kids where mom was born and raised. The room was nice a cooled off for us when we went in. The breakfast was delicious well done. We would definitely stay again.
We thought we would not find a nice hotel in Omak but there it was- BW Plus! Brand new, clean, and comfortable- and dog friendly. Registration was easy, price good, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms come with a delightful citrus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash the is dispensed in the beautiful shower!
Confortable, clean room, staff is great, breakfast is typical although ining room attendants rock, fitness room is small and neea to be updated. Overall very happy with stay as Best Western is best in Olmak!
Rescheduled my reservation. Charged twice for the night that I have not even spent in hotel. Sent back to street by rude desk receptionist that was not able to find me rescheduled reservation in the system.
Staying here is like coming home The staff from check in to check out are exceptional Rooms are always clean, very comfortable beds Breakfast has a good variety Staff are helpful courteous professional cheerful
Old Omak meet new high tech Best Western. This motel is way fun. Latest tech for conserving energy (key card inserted to activate power). Super pleasent rooms with a terrific walk in shower for a couple shower fun. Comfortable beds and furnishings and the best breakfasts in town. We loved it!
Nice, newer hotel, generous modern rooms. Very clean, slept well, big parking lot. Breakfast was delicious, everything was clean, and a huge, double dining room, plus, the lady came over and gave all my girls stickers, thank you!
Was in town for graduation. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was profesional and very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Staff at breakfast was very polite and professional. Offered my young daughter stickers while eating our breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Omak. Also had a very good experience at the Best Western in Kennewick a few months ago.
Very nice and central location, off the main highway so quiet as well Close to 1 restaurant across the parking lot as well as space for pets to roam Green space, tables for sitting outside and friendly staff
This my motel of choice in the Okanogan Valley. Omak Inn used to be my favorite. Peppertree's breakfast better. Both are clean and comfy. Being the much larger building, do expect lineups at the registration desk when major events are occurring. The rooms for breakfast and evening snack bar are reasonably large. One can load up plates and take to one's room.
Stayed one night before our trip through the northern Cascades national park on RT 20. This was a very pleasant experience. Not only was the hotel staff extremely courteous the room was one of the best we have ever stayed in on our cross country trip. Very clean with comfortable beds. Quiet with all the amenities needed including a nice breakfast. Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Would definitely stay again!
Great place. Clean, bright, happy. Knowledgeable staff that cares about detail. Easy to find and still the room was quiet. It was our last stop on a three week trip and it was a true gift at an affordable price.
The Hotel was extremely well kept. I persumed the hotel had just been openend. Hotel stay was relaxing, breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and proffesional. Would choose this location again in a heartbeat.
So i stayed at this hotel for business purposes. It was clean, had the amenities I look for, and fair location. Problems I had were important issues for me. 1. The room sink was backed up and even though I reported it everyday they never fixed it. 2. The reservation I had was for 3 days and when I checked in they only had 1 day logged in. Was told it would be fixed and guess what never was, everyday I got checked out and then checked back in. Pain in the butt. Then the breakfast it was not stocked and or supplied right. Overall the staff really did not seem to care about providing service.
Room clean, Breakfast was nice. 2 meats, eggs. Biscuit and gravy, waffles. No fresh fruit for yogurt. Oatmeal is instant oatmeal. But they did have apples to eat. Pool area and jacuzzi were clean. Not all rooms have a microwave.
We were heading back to Canada and thought we would stay in Oroville Washington however there is nothing there so we backtracked to Omak. This hotel was convenient and provided a quick check in and check out - we were offered breakfast but the hotel was so busy we didn't bother going, it did look good and there were a lot of people.
After traveling a long day we decided not to drive the additional hours to get home so we checked in to BW Peppertree in Omak. Our BW loyalty was recognized with an excellent discount instead of the standard 10%! This is a new hotel and is in beautiful condition. As requested our room was on the top floor so it was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was the standard eggs, bacon , sausage etc. except the eggs tasted like fresh farm eggs not like something commercial. The hotel is located adjacent to the highway. Excellent place to stay!
Very nice place. Had a good stay, the beds were very comfortable the WiFi trouble free. Was happy our dog was welcome that's a plus when traveling with a pet. A quiet stay even though we were by the elevator, didn't hear it in the night. Also didn't feel rushed to be out of the room in the morning.
Excellent stay. Just off HWy 97 North of Omak. Friendly Staff greeted us when we checked in. Thanked us for our stay. Pool area is sparkling and inviting. Rooms are clean and modern. Large Breakfast area and plenty to enjoy!
Best Western was very clean. The room decor was nice. Friendly staff! Only gave four star because breakfast was disappointing. Also ice.machine on our floor was broken. Swimming pool and hot tub were nice and clean.
We travel here occasionally, and this place is a wonderful addition to Thea ailanle accomodations. Well located, clean well kept, well staffed with outgoing friendly people, good breakfast menu and lovely rooms and amenities.
From check in to check out I was treated so well. The front desk gals were so welcoming. All the staff that I encountered during my stay were genuinely friendly as so respectful. My room was clean and well taken care of. I would go back anytime.
Omak is my home town growing up but now I have to travel up to visit family so we always try to stay at the Best Western. They have the best rooms. My kids really enjoy it also. It will always be our go to hotel when visiting Omak.
Never been disappointed here with the value - feels like an upscale hotel for mid-range pricing. Convenient and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Have recommended this hotel to a co-worker, who was pleased as well.
This is our second stay at this hotel. We visit the area often and have found that this BW is our first choice. There are a few other choices that do provide good service and amenities in Omak. However, the consistence and cleanliness of the rooms and facility will keep us choosing this one first. The staff are friendly and efficient and the breakfast meets our needs to start the day.
My wife and I have stayed at the Peppertree Inn quite a few times over the past years. It's always quiet and I don't recall ever having any problems there. The staff is friendly and helpful as you'd expect from Best Western. It's one of the better Best Westerns we stay at, and we stay a tot of them.. There are lots of places to eat nearby but it's not in a fast-paced environment and I like that. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises from our room if the weather cooperates.
BW Peppertree Omak goes above and beyond for our team each year. We've booked here the last 5 seasons and never been disappointed in their ability to graciously tend to our athletes and families. Early breakfast, lots of protein, great pool, walking distance to team dinner options and painless check out process when we need to get on the mountain at 7:30am.
The staff here are the examples of what the hospitality industry is about. Our stay here was the best we've ever seen. From Jennifer to Dave the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff, Maria and Hannah, Pam and Jan and the ones I can't remember the names of (sorry! ) were top notch and friendly! Our room was always clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was very good and staffed with friendly helpful folks. We will always choose this hotel if we're in the Omak area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your clean and well equipped facility. Thanks for friendly, knowledgeable staff who suggested Smallwood Farms for lunch.Definitely a great place to stay for future visits.
Absolutely wonderful bplace to stay! Merissa Martin checked us in and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable! Debbra went out of her way to assist our family as well! All staff are worthy of recommendation!! Thank you all!
Very friendly staff as always, this is by far the cleanest hotel in the area with excellent service and a safe environment. Great for kids and adults and very close to all amenities. They offer military discounts and are very accessible for wheel chairs. The continental breakfast was above average and what we expected from this location.
Had a terrific sleep here, and that is unusual for me in a hotel! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast room had two nice rooms: one bright and kind of noisy with children's TV playing, the other a bit more subdued for we adults nursing our coffee. It was perfect! I will be seeking out Best Westerns again!
Probably the newest hotel we saw in Omak, clean and conveniently located off Hwy 97. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hit and miss, not overly organized but you could find something. Front desk staff were great and the property does a good job of supporting the Rewards program. Little notes thanking you for being a member.
We stay here about every couple months. We drive down from the Okanagan to do some shopping. Great location and wonderful staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Kids love the pool and the complementary breakfast is Great!
The Peppertree inn was nice and efficient. Great staff , kind and friendly. We will stay again in the future. It was centrally located, near alot of eateries, stores. Alot of breakfast selections and vending machines through out.
What you would expect from a best western. Nice big room. Good TV with Direct TV so actual Movie channels,YaH! No bathtub in my King room. Didn't matter to me but might matter to some. Overall nicely set up and run. Recommend trying El Portal in the strip mall nearby for Mexican Food. Big portions and free chips and salsa for a nice change.
Finally tried this hotel as usually listed as too expensive too book and I do try and book hotels accordingly...for a hot tub soak and a half decent breakfast. The breakfast was good overall but no bacon and rather just the high calories sausage as an option. The hot tub was down here at Best Western and after golf I just was looking forward to that and after the drive to here from Osoyoos. That did not sit very well at all with me. Wasted money here on my booking choice as 12 Tribes has always had their hot tub up and running. Was also told I could not receive any discount cause I booked online...that made zero sense to me. It is just easier for me to book online than have to call etc and I get Expedia points. 2.5 of 5 stars.
This hotel has the appearance of being new, well kept, & clean. The room was large with two queen beds, two arm chairs, as well as a desk with chair. There were two bathroom sinks located outside the bathroom with tub & toilet. The hotel's two breakfast rooms were large enough to accommodate the guests. There was a good selection of breakfast items, including scrambled eggs & waffle maker. There was a guest laundry with one washer ($1.50) & one dryer ($1.00), which we used. The pool was well used by families. The only reason I gave this hotel a 4 instead of 5 was because of the welcome (or more accurately the lack of it) that we received when we arrived. I stood at the front desk for a full 10 minutes before finding a staff person to check us in and give us room keys. The lobby and desk were empty! I looked for a sign saying how to summon help, looked in the common areas (business center, store, breakfast room, & hallways) for a staff person, and asked three guests going by how to summon help. One suggested phoning the hotel! I was getting out the cell phone when another came by and literally YELLED. At that point a staff person came out of the office behind a closed door. Despite our check-in experience, every other aspect of this hotel is wonderful & I would stay again if I was in the area (now that I know how to summon the check-in staff)!
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times as we are in Omak Washington quite a lot ,it's our last stop before we enter Canada . I would say we have stayed at least 8 times and will stay again on our next trip going that way. Always so clean and great staff.
We had a great stay at the Best Western in Omak on our way up to North Cascades NP. Our check in was smooth - Daniel was such a delight. Very pleasant & helpful. Our room looked very fresh and clean. We slept great and then enjoyed a well stocked hot complimentary breakfast. Plenty of seating and space for everyone to sit. The hotel was located right off the main roadway near to other hotels & fast food chains, we arrived late and left early and did not get to use many amenities but we enjoyed a clean and pleasant stay.
I was surprise when I got to the hotel. I have never stay at this hotel before and was surprise how nice it was. The service was great and had free breakfeast and pool. The hot tub was not working because they were fixing it. Check in was fast and the room were very comfortable and clean. Check out was also fast. I feel the value is a little on the high side for the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in Omak at the Best Western because it was in a quiet location, had good food, clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. Beds where fantastic, good night sleep. Good selection of items for breakfast. Did not use other recreational options available.
Very clean. New boring town. Example of unplanned sprawl filling prairie with brutal ugliness of crappy chain stores. Hotel although an example of this offered a restful night sleep on road trip. But where does that best western bacon come from? Farmers with no pride
Rooms were clean and comfortable, bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. Breakfast was a full breakfast and very good food. The only reason I deducted 1 star is because there is a malfunction with their card keys. We stayed 2 nights. First night battery on room card reader had a dead battery which front desk staff replaced. Second day after an outing we returned to hotel in the afternoon, attempted to open outside door nearest our room with 2 different card keys and got the red light. Went to front desk, got a new set of card keys, went up to the room, got the red light-they didn't work. Had to go back to lobby and get another set. This seemed like a ridiculous amount of time and frustration spent going back and forth between the room and lobby trying to get valid card keys.
The Peppertree has been a great experience for us. We frequent the area often and have found the Peppertree an excellent place to stay. Rooms are consistently clean and the beds are great (confortable).
We got a good rate online (through TripAdvisor natch) at this hotel, so this hotel was great value for money. We were just passing through, but as far as bang for buck went, this hotel was the best of the trip. Up-to-date room, lots of places to eat, or gas-up close by, this place is the perfect stop-over for a family on a road trip.
The hotel stay was great. Breakfast was excellent, staff couldn't do enough for you. Pool was cleanand enjoyable. Could have had a fitness room. Quiet area and close to restaruants, stores and other activites.
I stayed 14 days fighting fires in the area. The staff was great they worked with us trying to accommodate us through there busy time of year. They really went the extra mile. I would stay again. Rooms where clean beds nice and even dog friendly.
We made reservations for friends to stay on the 8th, 9th and 10th of August 2018. Told charges would be $159 a night plus usual taxes. When friends checked out on 11th, and we returned to the hotel to get our receipt, they charged us almost DOUBLE the price of the room for the 9th, 10th. $300 per night. We were NEVER informed by anyone the prices would almost double for so called Stampede nights! Hotel WAS NOT fully booked, lots of rooms available, and rooms not a premium. When we attempted to rectify this issue we were informed "We don't even give military discounts during this time. We even charged fire fighters $300 per night."
We stayed for two nights in August 2018 to move our daughter to Omak. This hotel is large, looks very new, and is well maintained. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel was quiet (even on Stampede weekend) and the bed was very comfortable. We will most certainly stay here again when we come to visit.
This is an excellent hotel that comes with all the facilities that both business and leisure travelers would require. Nice rooms, swimming pool, exercise room, excellent internet and easy access of the main highway. There is an adequate restaurant next door that although not haute cuisine it does the job.
Great location, and a nice, new hotel! Great service! From check-in to check-out, we were impressed with this hotel! The girl at the front desk helped recommend restaurant choices, and later that night when we needed more towels, the guy at the front desk was right there, even on crutches! Friendly, accommodating staff that went above and beyond!
We were glad to find a Best Western in Omak. We asked for a 4th floor king, as we wanted to see the view. Everything was great except for the design of the bathroom. The toilet was in a small area with a door. Not easy to use. This is a new and modern hotel and on the 3rd floor everything, including lights, was operated by using your room card. Plenty of parking. Each evening their is a social hour for guests. A nice place to stay.
We love this hotel when its too hot or busy to camp. We can visit our favourite lakes easily from this location and not have to pack all that camping gear. We do this 2x every summer. The staff is great and the hotel is clean and well kept
We pent five nights at this hotel, as we used Omak as our home base for various day trips in the area. We just loved the bed we slept on. It allowed us to get the rest we needed after long days away. The pool and hot tub facilities were a definite plus. The air conditioning unit in our room worked so well, we had to turn it off. The front desk staff were also helpful when my wife had internet issues with her computer. This hotel needs to work on those small things that are cause for irritation. This includes fixing a wheel on the luggage cart. Making sure housekeeping does its job all the days guests stay in the hotel (two days our room was not looked after in terms of cleaning and providing new towels). The fact is that this hotel can be an excellent hotel if it looks after these and other small concerns.
In town for business and was put up here. Pros- I walk in and am welcomed in a genuine and professional manner by Dan. Sure, all front desk folk are welcoming but some actually make you feel welcomed…twice in the last year once in Albany and now here and (to me) it can make a difference. The place felt new and everything (apart from what is in the “cons”) appeared up to date. Comfy bed, clean room, higher ceilings, quiet (the place was packed and the only noise was from outside). The breakfast buffet was ample (please tip those folks as well as leaving one for the cleaning staff). Getting work to pay I can't speak to the price point but would say that considering Onmak this is a quality stay and the prices would reflect. I didn't get a chance to use the hot tub (it was busy all night) but the fact they have one and it was being used is a testament to it being a “Pro”. Nice high shower with plenty of “oomph” and no tub/shower combo…just a nice sized shower. Fan in the bathroom…may be a small thing but, when it is not there, you notice. Best of all? The windows open so I did not have to sleep with the cooler running. I cooled the room and then, once the temp dropped outside, opened the window…noice! Sure there was some folks having a good time below but that died down and I had a comfy nights sleep. Cons- Rotten Wi-Fi. I like to opt for a Netflix rather than the in room TV. I was able to connect but it kept disconnecting and I just couldn't get a good connection. I spoke with another person staying there and got the same report. The room is narrow…adequate but it reminds me that the newer rooms are all about saving space and it feels like it. Such as with the vanity outside of the bathroom…space saving sure…can't say I dig it. No “Welcome to Omak” directory. Sure, we mostly use online stuff and Dan was helpful but how hard is it to get ahold of the Chamber of Commerce and have a little thing displaying some restaurants and such. Bottom Line-A nice stay made better by a warm welcome.
Our room was newly redone and clean with plenty of plug ins. The bathroom was clean but small with plenty of towels and hot water. The pool was clean and the hot tub was clean but small. Wifi was good. My only complaint is that they didnt serve breakfast till 7 am and we had to be on the road before that
The property itself is very nice . . . it looks and feels like a new hotel even though it is (according to the manager) ten years old. So while I would give it 5 stars from the perspective of appearance, I am required to mark it down due to a few rather significant service snafus as I shall describe. The good: 1. Property is in spectacular condition. Certainly a cut above what you normally expect from Best Western. If you did not know it was a Best Western, you'd probably think it was a significantly higher up on the hotel brand pecking order. 2. Very comfortable bed, nice linens. Only downside was the towels were kind of small and thin and "cheap feeling", but I'm OK with this. They are perfectly good for drying off and the smaller bulk is environmentally good. 3. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good as such things go, and the breakfast eating area is large and inviting. There is a waffle maker, cereals available from a hopper, scrambled eggs, sausage patties. 4. Separate from the breakfast area is a large and inviting lobby. 5. There is also a well-equipped fitness center, pool, and hot tub. 6. Very close to nearby retail and restaurants (most all major fast food brands are within a mile). 7. The room is equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The negatives: 1. I had a Best Western gift card to apply to my payment. Upon check-in, the desk clerk did not know how to deal with it. He checked me in and said he would "work on it". The next morning, I inquired with the morning clerk who looked me up and had no record of the gift card having been applied. Later in the morning, the manager came on duty so I spoke to her and she assured me it had been handled. 2. Most egregiously, a few minutes after I checked into my room, the door opened and in walked another guest who had been checked into the same room. So we had to straighten that out. It should absolutely never, ever, ever happen in a hotel that another guest is given a key to an occupied room, never! Procedures should be absolutely foolproof to prevent this. 3. At 5:30 AM, the alarm clock in the room went off. It must have been set by the previous guest. The clock had several buttons and it was not obvious how to shut the alarm off so I ended up having to move the night stand out of the way and unplug the blasted thing. A standard checklist item for room servicing should be to ensure the alarm is not set. So, again, a fine hotel from the perspective of its physical condition and amenities, but some experiential issues speak to a serious need to up-level the staff training and adherence to procedure.
When we first arrived, half hour after check in and were told our room wasn't ready, I was disappointed. Things went uphill pleasantly after that. We came back and were given a nice room on first floor which was convenient with our dog. Nice walk in shower instead of a tub. Room was comfy with a decent couch. Very environmentally friendly room with in shower dispensers of decent quality products. No wasted plastic liners in trash cans! I'd definitely choose this location again.
Room nice and clean comfy bed.. shower very weird .. door fixed in place so you have to get sprayed with cold water to turn it on.. three large soap containers in shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash.. although good ecology the soap was terrible and there are real security issues guests could put anything in them .. they are easily opened. Finally .. the business center is running windows xp.. seriously a 20 year old OS.. and no printer you have to email to front desk.. which means bad boarding passes and no luggage tags .. and no security ..best western please join us in the 21st century.
Would I return to this Best Western Plus? YES. Several reasons. I made the reservation by phone and the clerk taking my reservation was very upbeat. The rooms are very adequate, but most importantly, the bed and pillow were perfect. The breakfast, provided as part of the stay package, was adequate for me. Nothing spectacular, but ample. The personnel behind the front desk are spectacular – both Ashly and Lori Sue. Not often one encounters people who have so much fun interacting with guests. Yes, I'll be back.
Perfect for a quick stay on a long road trip , the hotel was very clean. The room and amenities were very good. Also lots of places close by for dinner and stores for anything you need including gas .
Rooms, lobby, breakfast area, and outside were very clean. They had a very professional staff. Nice comfortable room and internet connection had no problems. I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel.
I usually trust Best Western to give me the same service wherever I travel. Not so in Omak. Don't get me wrong, every person who works there was polite, helpful...they could not ask for better employees from the front desk to housekeeping. I blame management. I was told “the early bird gets the bacon”. This is correct. First morning we went down for breakfast shortly before 7 AM to find there was no breakfast meat, no one in the breakfast room had it on their plate and there was none in the serving container. None showed up during the whole duration of our breakfast. (In the end, it didn't matter. We went at 6:20 the last day and there was plenty. It's not worth getting). My biggest complaint is the powdered scrambled eggs served every morning. Fake food, leaves you gassy and stinky the rest of the day. Gross! Nothing offered for breakfast was up to the Best Western standard. Not the cooks fault, management is to blame. They obviously don't plan to feed all of their guest during the 3 hour breakfast window. Seriously lacking. After looking at the offerings Day 2, we opted to go downtown for a good breakfast. On another note, if you provide cheap toilet paper, I will judge you. Advice, BYOTP, avoid bum lint. The hotel was full of construction workers while we were there. While they were polite when they weren't swearing, they did track in a lot of dirt. Don't go in the hot tub, I'm just warning you. Sitting in bubbling human frappe is not cool. I told the front desk it needed to be cleaned, he said it would be done the next morning. It wasn't (dirty grime in the hot tub remained), and the same little girls barrettes that were sitting beside the pool the night before were still there the next night, indicating the pool had not been cleaned at all. Also, the wrong paint was used and it is peeling like crazy around the hot tub. There are other, nicer places to stay in Omak.
We pulled in late at night. They were very pleasant. A very clean and comfortable night's sleep. First motel after a long drive through the mountains. Don't confuse this place with the Inn next door. The breakfast sounded wonderful but we slept in.
Nice rooms, clean. Allows pets, based on the dogs we saw and heard (we only heard them in the hall, although I think one was in the next room, so it was either a really quiet dog, or the soundproofing between rooms was excellent). There was an actual USB port next to one side of the bed, which is always a plus in my book. Breakfast was OK, nothing spectacular, but edible and free, with a decent selection of pastries, breads, eggs, and waffles.
Very pleasant hotel. It was undergoing a remodel but very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is very good. I have one minor issue which was corrected immediately. I would recommend this hotel.
I had only stayed there once previously, on business, and they remembered me and the nature of my business so they put me in a room that's very accessible to my vehicle and other amenities I needed for business. I didn't even ask, I just noticed they had done that when I got to my room. Well done!
Hotel staff was courteous and efficient. Hotel is new and located on the outskirts of Omak. A vehicle or Taxi is required to visit the downtown area, however there are restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Overall it was perfect for our stay in Omak.
after driving by a thousnad times we had a chance to try it out and what a surprise . super clean, unreal layout, quiet , staff of a first class hotel. we enjoyed Ms.Kara a real kool, smart, quick and a nice person.Great value so happy we stopped we'll be back lots, great stay g&d
The staff are extremely courteous, cheerful and helpful. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were a great relaxation. They offer a large breakfast, complete with waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and sprinkles:)
Always a good stay. We stay often to see family in town. The staff is always very helpful. The birthday parties during the weekends are somewhat inconvenient since I have 2 little ones under 3 that enjoy the pool but we don't go in with all the people.
My family can't say enough about this Best Western, they are Fantastic. Very polite, friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure to stay at the Peppertree, the last visit there was four soccer teams and was still quite, never once disturbed and had a great nights sleep. The room was very clean and fitted our needs perfectly. Very close to subway as well as the food district of Omak. Veterans are welcome as are pets. Easy highway access.
Given the remoteness of this location, the value for this venue is very good. The hotel was pretty full and probably caused bandwidth issues with the in room internet. Otherwise a very nice stay for business.
The front desk staff was beyond friendly and helpful and our overall stay was pretty good. We could have used better parking as we had a trailer but you can't win them all. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
I stayed two nights at this hotel and really liked it. The check in was quick and friendly. The breakfast was good, the staff cleared tables and kept things clean. The room was comfortable and clean. Check out was easy. I would be more than willing to take my family to this hotel.
We have stayed at this hotel several times on our trips north and always have an excellent experience. This is one of the nicest and friendliest Best Western hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room, property and pool where clean. Laurie the lady at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was very funny. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient to dinner choices. We would stay here again.
After leaving hotel l, received updated receipt with substantially higher charges than agreed upon and signed for rate upon check in. Wasn't damage fees either. It was just an adjustment of room rate. Seems almost criminal.
My wife and I recently stayed at the BW Peppertree Inn at Omak. The room was spacious and clean, the pool was fun, and the breakfast was fantastic! But the helpful staff (especially Amber and Lenora) is what makes this hotel special. This was our first time staying here, but I will stay here again whenever we are in Omak. Thanks so much!
Lovely updated hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Only complaint with room was, if you have more then 2 staying you will need to ask for more towels. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel is in a dispenser which is acceptable but for hand sink we were given 1 tiny cheep bar of soap. A hand soap dispenser would be nice (my only complaint). Hot tub was wonderful hot and the pool was warm too, which I normally don't even try as they are always to cold. Was very enjoyable. Breakfast was above average continental breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, etc. What made this hotels breakfast special was the staff. Young lady working the breakfast was super friendly, helpful and asked to take our finished plates. Wonderful service. Thank you for 100% customer service, which I don't find often.
I washere for several months for work and have stayed in four different rooms. My 1st room 2 rooms were king sized one bed with sofa beds if needed. My 2nd 2 rooms were extended-stay rooms with apt sized frig/freezer, microwave, toaster, hotplate, basic kitchen dishes/utensils. The bedroom was off to the side. It was a very nice layout. All room had 8 or 9ft ceilings, all bathrooms had glass sliding doors. House keeping came daily to pickup towels and make the bed. They didn't always changed the sheets unless I specifically asked while I was there during lunch, or wrote a note. Internet was free and I had no problems connecting but it didn't have real security — similar to other hotels. Breakfast was all you can eat. I used the pool and hot tub often. Nice and clean area.
This is an excellent hotel. Room size, appointment, cleanliness, lighting—all make this a very nice place. It was extremely quiet, excellent shower, helpful staff, and great breakfast. Especially appreciated a variety of fruit options at breakfast.
The only issue that I had was that the ptac unit in the room was incredibly loud. We informed the front desk twice, but nothing was done about it. It was room 120. Jackie in breakfast was the friendliest person I've encountered at the Peppertree Inn at Omak. I didn't receive a BWR survey to fill out so I hope this will count so Jackie can receive some sort of recognition or bonus.
Thoroughly updated multi-story hotel with all the amenities a business traveler would need. Rooms are clean, spacious, noise-dampened and warm. It features a standard cable package and WiFi with the normal coffee arrangement. There are Eco-friendly rooms available with a shower only if you do not require a bathtub. If you prefer a room with a tub, you should ask at the desk or at the time you make reservations. A 24-hour snack room is off the front desk and the Continental Breakfast is suitable. Its right down the street from a superb Mexican restaurant, as well. We've stayed here more than once and will probably do so again.
After making our reservations, I spoke with Marissa over the phone to confirm our reservation, and instead of pushing us off like the other staff at this hotel, she graciously spent 20 minutes guiding us to the best decisions for our reservations. Due to our late flight into Spokane during peak holiday season, she could have left us with a guaranteed reservation which would have cost us dearly given potential travel delays. Instead, she took the high road and told us to consider a walk-in reservation so avoid unnecessary fees. This is incredibly refreshing!! Additionally, when realizing we did not have the 2nd night stay reserved despite two prior phone calls to confirm the two reservations, she personally accepted responsibility for it and emailed the confirmation to me immediately. I did not have to call back to request it again. When we landed in Spokane, the shuttle picked us up; we had a room as promised by Marissa. This was definitely a relief at 1:30 a.m.! To top it off, the next morning, even though we missed the 9:00 a.m., breakfast deadline due to sleeping in from the flight, the manager Jamie made certain we were still able to eat. When she realized what we needed, and despite our apologies for sleeping in and not remembering the breakfast deadline, she and her breakfast staff brought us eggs, sausage, toasted bagels, cream cheese, and juice. This is, by far, the most amazing and exceptional customer service we have received in a long time by hotel staff! Jamie and Marissa, thank you for your exemplary example of hotel customer service. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
I love coming to this BW. The staff are so friendly and will do almost anything to make you feel comfortable. The location is convenient to many places to eat and shop. Kiddos love the swimming pool and it keeps them occupied. This one is my home away from home.
This hotel is always a consistent winner. Each time that I have stayed here it has been a good experience. I am not happy that Best Western has cut the breakfast time down by an hour. Now from 6 to 9, this does make a big difference even though I did not think that it would. Still the overall experience was good. The hotel is located close to town and several different stores, so there is a variety of things to do if the chance arises.
I spend a lot of time on the road during the year and many nights in hotels throughout the northwest. This Best Western is by far the best hotel that I have stayed in this year and I would put it up against any hotel that I have stayed in period. What makes it stand above the rest is not only the cleanliness but I would place its employees at the top of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. This goes for any hotel chain. Great job!!!!!
If you travel a lot or a little, you would appreciate the level of genuine friendliness and overall service of this hotel. Small towns are not usually host to great hotel experiences, but this one rises above expectations every time I'm there. I always remember having a good experience there. Clean, comfortable, attention to detail. But recently there seems to be an upgrade to an even higher level of service from the staff. Well done BW Peppertree Inn at Omak!
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff here are to be commended for their service. One of the best experiences with the hotel industry. The breakfast was superior in quantity/quality as well as the way it was laid out. A staff member removed and tidied up our breakfast dishes with a cheerful smile. Check-in/out efficient and staff helpful when trying to determine where to go for dinner. Hats off to Management and staff.
Hotel is well kept and clean. Very professional staff, always willing to go out of their way to make your stay excellent. Quick internet, very ideal for business travel. Breakfast has always been of high quality with a good number of options.
My wife and I decided to hop across the border for a quick trip to kick off our Christmas shopping. We landed at the Best Western in Omak and it was the highlight of our trip. The facility and cleanliness we fantastic, as we the amenities. But what mad this trip special was the friendliness and caring of the entire staff at the hotel. We are already planning a summer trip back there and booking at the Best Western is at the top of the list.
I always enjoy staying at the Peppertree in Omak. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. It is convenient to nearby shopping and has easy access back onto the highway. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The full breakfast is a great start to your day and the happy hour is nice to relax and watch the games at the end of a long drive.
From the time I checked in my stay was very good. Every one was very friendly and helpful. I walk with a cane and every one was so helpful. I felt very secure in my room. It was quiet and very comfortable. I did put a sheet on the bed as I travel with a small dog and I didn't want her to get the bedding dirty. If I need to stay in this area again, I will definitely stay at Best Wester Pepper Tree Inn.
We stay here several times a year and always find the quality of the hotel excellent. Rooms are alway well appointed and very clean. Check in staff very good, helpful and friendly. Would have rated 5 stars but the morning breakfast was marginal. The eggs were slightly warm and the morning coffee was lukewarm. Still would recommend.
Nice staff and great admenities rooms were good I would have given have given a 5 star but the maid missed some things. Previous person left personal things left in drawers and the carpet needed vacuuming. Other than that I would stay again. Good breakfast and pool was nice.
I booked the room days ahead of time to make sure I got the room me and my family needed. When we arrived they had over booked the rooms so they didn't have the room we needed for all of us. They did give us another room that was smaller and didn't sleep enough people so my children had to sleep on the floor. Then they call us and wake us up at 6:30 in the morning because an employee had made a mistake. Other than that it's a nice hotel I think they need to hire a more competent staff tho.
would recommend this hotel to anyone going to this area above any where else. the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was central to what we were in town for. and we felt very relaxed during our stay
We have stayed here many times and each time the experience is wonderful. The staff make us feel at home and are always welcome to us! We had an issue once with dirty linen, BUT the front staff corrected it right away and apologized. The rooms are for the most part clean and the beds are extremely comfortable! They even have happy hour specials in their little lounge. The rates are a little high in the summer, but this is to be expected in a remote area like Omak that only get a short peak season. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone! Also the pool is fantastic and clean! We usually book our room during peak periods on our air miles or travel points as they provide reasonable redemption options. Thanks to their great staff for making us feel at home!
When they first opened his hotel about 10 years ago, I was one of the first people to stay there. It was a great place to stay then and continues to be a favorite. The front desk and staff are always friendly and helpful. And they have improved the breakfast since the last time I stayed there. Now they added an omelette cooker, so you can make a ham and cheese omelette to accompany the waffle. Plus they have salsa, essential for breakfast. The rooms are on the large side, but always clean and comfortable. Check in and check out is a breeze.
Great stop on the road. Close to the Omak Mall with JC Penny, Rite Aid and Safeway. Short drive to 12 Tribes Casino. One hour south of the border at Orville. The hotel is a good Best Western but not a Plus.
The staff was slow getting to the front desk, but everything else was great. The bed and rooms were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast suited our needs, offering both hot and cold options. We'll stay again if we're in the area.
First impression upon walking in is very positive. The hotel is neat, clean, and the staff was friendly--especially the breakfast lady. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and lots of sockets for charging devices. The breakfast is outstanding with a make-your-own omelet station and waffle maker, along with other items. This was a great place to stay!
Could ask for anything more in a hotel- Absolutely best people serving you and helping you out. Convenient and clean. Great beds and comfortable rooms. Reasonable rates for this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
We needed a quick place to stay in Omak for a night. We chose the Best Western and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was complete and tasty. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel was clean and well furnished. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very good. What we really liked though was that the pool and hot tub are open 24/7. We often get to hotels late and then can't enjoy the pool much. That's not a problem here!
Staff very nice; room with plenty of space; bed very comfortable; breakfasts very nice. Lots of grassy areas to walk the dog. Location near restaurants, grocery stores and other stores. Just off highway, but quiet.
Best place to stay in omak. Improvements in staffs attitude since last visit in march 2017 breakfast is average in quality. Bed is abive average in comfort, room was clean coffee is terrible both in room and breakfast room temp comfort is great!
Hot tub was broken for 3 days. Each day was a different excuse. Manager spoke highly of their amenities and we decided to stay at the Peppertree. Front desk staff refused to acknowledge the situation. Next time we will stay at the 12 Tribes Hotel and Casino.
Lane Priest went above and beyond to accommodate us. The hotel was nice and clean and the hot breakfast was better than any restaurant would have served us. Many hot selections. Eggs very fresh and tasty.
We booked out son's 7th birthday at the Best Western Peppertree, hoping to have the pool and big banquet room - and we were NOT disappointed. We got a call from their manager a week before the event stating they had accidentally double booked and felt really bad - but we bumped our time up an hour and the other group having a baby shower bumped theirs down and hour - and when we got there everything was set up and ready for us. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The rooms are really nice too - comfortable and updated. We had a phenomenal time and look forward to doing it again!! Great place great people!!
Always great service at this hotel. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly, Free parking and pet friendly. Feel safe at this hotel Breakfast is good and hours of service are long enough for early and late risers. My go to hotel when I am traveling in the area.
My wife and I did a wedding anniversary road trip and stopped in Omak and booked in at the hotel. What was awesome about our experience was the fantastic hospitality and helpfulness of the lady at the front desk. She went out of her way to be helpful even calling another hotel further on route to see if there was accommodation. We decided to stay. Everything was good and the breakfast got us set for the day. I would definitely stay there again.
Great help at the front desk. Helped me get a better rate. Also, wonderful Happy Hour. Would recommend this to everyone who is travelling in North Central Washington. Breakfast was also quite good. Property and rooms very clean.
I stay at the Best Western Peppertree at least 4 nights a month, and the quality and comfort are excellent! The rooms are clean and the amenities are excellent. The breakfast service is good. Beds are comfortable. I highly recommend them as the best hotel in Omak, by far!
We stayed one night here on our long driving vacation. Booked with BW online just before arriving at the hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful even recommending a local restaurant for dinner. The room, a King room, was quite comfortable with everything one would want for 1 night or more on the road.
If you're staying anywhere in the Omak area, probably for a good hour's drive or so, this is best place to stay. It's the only high quality chain hotel in the whole region of the state, essentially. Front desk staff were great, rooms were large. Breakfast is the standard breakfast that has been at every other hotel that has "free hot breakfast" (waffles, eggs, toast, oatmeal, etc). I was here only one night, but if I was in the area again for business I'd definitely stay again.
Pet friendly very Important Nice new hotel .. Clean ... just all around great Breakfast was really nice fresh ham and green pepper ,onion, shredded cheese for western omelets ,bagels ,waffles , muffins. Nice area for walking your dog. Restaurants close . Right off interstate 90
This hotel is conveniently located on highway 97N and is a comfortable overnight stopping place. The room was clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. Little noise from the highway. Welcome was friendly with all staff ready to answer questions. The hotel does not offer food other than breakfast (included in tariff) which is a small downside. Subway next door good for lunch but you have to drive for other food. Reasonable value for money. Gym equipment is great.
A nice stopover location for us as this stop is midway for us in our travels. We have stopped here a number of times and will continue to do so. For a small town hotel, it is very good. It is midway for most of our travels.
We choose this Inn as a resting stop in our journey from Vancouver to Idaho Falls. We stayed 1 night at a cost of $120 The Inn is located on the outskirts of Omak on the main road from Ossoyos and the border crossing into the USA from Canada. The Inn has a commanding position overlooking the valley and close to a range of shopping and food outlets. We were warming greeted by the receptionist and check in to our accommodation on the top floor, at our request, to avoid any noise from rooms above. The suite was pleasantly surprising with a high quality of decor and furniture. The room had three distinct areas, washing/toilet section, sleeping area and at the far end a seating/eating area with all the facilities you would expect a large comfortable bed with plenty of high quality pillows, fridge, microwave, coffee machine,TV, seating/table area, washing/shower facilities, iron and board etc...all the normal items. provided quality at every turn. The Inn also provided a range of services and facilities out with our suite, pool, gym, seating area with coffee etc... The price of £120/night included a full cooked breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were very welcoming, helpful and provided a high quality of service. The Inn provides free wifi which we found easy to use and rely on the signal When making a judgement about a motel/hotel while on holiday we use the level of quality at a Holiday Inn Express as a base standard giving it a value of 10. In the UK we would expect to pay between £60-100 ($75-125) depending on location and timing of the visit. We can then rate accommodation we use on our trips at, below or above 10 based on the individual quality, facilities provided and value for money. We would rate the Pepper Tree Inn on our system as a 16. Five points above our average figure of 10 In our opinion we would definitely use this Inn on another occasion when visiting.
Good quality with nice layout. Would appreciate more strength building options in the fitness centre. I expected a microwave in the guest rooms but had to use the breakfast room unit Front lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. I would use the Peppertree Inn again
Khara was very helpful during check -in and and outstanding person to deal with. She was very helpful with local information and assisted me with my BW membership program. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, breakfast was great - you can make your own omelet - much better then the pre-make ones at other hotels. We would stay here again
Our room has two queen beds. The sinks are in the room with the toilet and shower in a separate "closet." The room is tidy and clean and the hotel appears to be well cared for. The breakfast area is large and not well decorated. It is definitely not inviting. If you have to stay in Omak then this place will do.
I had a very pleasant stay at the Peppertree. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was super clean. Breakfast was substantial with real eggs and potatoes and sausage. I didn't get to the fitness or pool, but the rest of the grounds were lovely. And dog friendly!
We stayed here July 3, 2017. We were on our way to Canada, and stayed here one night, booked in advance based upon internet reviews. It was an excellent choice. It's right along the main road, highway 97, so you can't miss it. Even though it's not in a high demand area, or a tourist location, I would still highly recommend booking in advance. Two reasons: 1) There aren't many lodging options in town, and 2) the internet has changed the nature of travel. We used to "wing it" most of the time, driving until we were ready to put in for the night, and then finding a place. But that option is getting more risky since it has become so easy to book online, and we have discovered, especially on this trip, that unless you book in advance, you might be sleeping in your car. With that said, I recommend this location. The staff was friendly, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and the rates were reasonable, so it lived up to the internet hype. As for the town itself, it's small. It's not exactly a destination town, but has enough food options. Tourist stuff, not so much.
Clean, comfortable rooms. 24 hour pool and hot tub. Great value and great hotel. I stay here for work and my family often travels with me. Thy enjoy it here too which makes it easier for me to stay focused on work.
Nice hotel. Looking back, nothing exceptional stands out, but the staff, rooms and facilities were fine. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again. For us, Omak was just a stopping off place and the BW was conveniently located and adjacent to a good restaurant.
The PepperTree Inn, Omak,WA, was a very good experience overall. I give it 4 1/2 Stars out of five. The 1/2 star ding is because there was no sausage or bacon at breakfast. Again a possitive experience, I would book again.
We often stay at Best Western Plus hotels because they are usually very consistent. The Peppertree did not disappoint. The staff at the front desk and the lady looking after the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was a bit above average featuring real eggs, not the watered down version which you most often get. The bed was very comfortable and the am worked well. Since it was 34 Celsius, that was important!
This hotel is conveniently located near newer shops and restaurants. The interior decor has obviously been chosen with care and good taste, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable. The surrounding topography is fascinating which made for a really interesting drive from Omak south on the way home. I'll be looking for a reason to return to this BWP Peppertree Inn.
I have stayed here 5 times in the last two years. I am always satisfied. Very competent staff, great breakfast, nicely decorated rooms, good internet, good parking and always spotlessly clean. Great pool and good fitness center.
The Best Western Peppertree Inn was an excellent choice. The reservation experience (by phone directly to the hotel) was top notch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had lots of choices and we didn't feel rushed. Most definitely will stay there again.
This place is very nice and welcoming from the moment you see it getting off the highway. Very little road noise for being right off the highway. We had a few minor issues and only one of which we reported which was dirty sheets on the bed but they fixed the issue that day. The wifi would sort of "freeze up" every once in a while causing me to have to disconnect then reconnect to get it working again. The shower was also not completely clean, there was water stains at the top of the glass where the person cleaning could not reach. That last minor issue was for a king size room and the price we paid it was kinda small and the bathroom was even smaller. Overall it was still a very enjoyable stay and I would go back again.
This hotel was wonderful across the board! After our long travel in the car, it was great to come to a place that was very clean, the staff were courteous, helpful, polite, kind and professional, the pool and Jacuzzi had 24 hour access, a fantastic breakfast with a lot of choices, a spacious and very comfortable room with great beds, great ambience and easy to find; right off of the highway. All of the staff were attentive and resourceful. They gave a great recommendation for dinner at the Breadline Restaurant. Great location and space to provide a training.
Overall, not a bad nights sleep. When we went to our room, we noticed that there were 2 pillows on the couch that looked like someone had taken a break. The bed was clean however the bathroom floor could have been cleaned better. We were just passing through and the hotel sufficed for our needs.
Nice convenient location - close to main arteries, but quiet at night. Room was clean and most conveniences covered. The only negative was the TV remote - had to call the hotel staff twice to get it to work properly. Clean bathroom and nice shower.
My mom and her little dog and I spent the weekend here for my mother's class reunion. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable and clean. We had a great room that was real close to an exit door, so taking the dog out to do her business couldn't be easier. The grounds are kept very clean and tidy. There are also plenty of places with poop bags and waste receptacles on the grounds. The staff was all very friendly and responded quickly to any of my requests. I did not eat breakfast so I can't tell you how the food was. The coffee was great, however.
bad customer service. Requested gov. rate and presented ID. Then billed at the AAA rate I was told I signed the registry so too bad if I did not read it. The whole process took ~ 1 min. I was tired and did not have reading glasses.
My family and I just stayed the one night and had a nice peaceful time just hanging out in the room. The rooms are huge with an extra seating area! This was perfect for a family of 3 young kids. I loved the modern decor of the room and the spaciousness. The breakfast was enjoyable with eggs and sausage and all of your standard continental breakfast items. They even have gluten free Chex available per request. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If we are ever in Omak again, we will definitely stay here.
stayed in aug 2017 great location, close to restaurants and shops--newer rooms, spacious clean and quiet--breakfast was well provided ...would stay here again--did not uses pool but it looked nice..reception areas inviting
Have stayed at this hotel many times and was very disappointed with this stay. Usually on check in they tell you when check out is, when breakfast is served and offer the wifi password. We requested a top floor room when booking a month prior and were given a third floor room with kids running back and forth above our room. There was toe nails on the floor by the bed. The breakfast was out of many things and some of the food wasn't very good.
Excellent accommodation--clean, friendly staff, and everything in top working order. We especially appreciated the bright, spacious breakfast area where we could truly enjoy the good breakfast (served on colorful plates, real silverware and real mugs) and not feel rushed because others had to wait.
After a few BW's they all begin to blend in to each other - this one stood out for being new and clean - the pool was full of people. Wifi was solid and the breakfast the same as always. This one is on the highway so only one place to eat next door if you just walk - we drobe west over the reservation the next day - great ride.
I initially blocked 40 rooms for the weekend for 2 separate groups and eventually took approximately 30 rooms, of which i was responsible for 15. Reservation staff were excellent and everything went smoothly until checkout, where there was a minor problem that was very quickly resolved.
I had a very good stay at this hotel everyone was very helpful and very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Omak or passing thru. The rooms where nice and clean everyday. The people that work there go out of there way to make sure you are at ease and relaxed.
checked in at noon. Room not cleaned, which was fine. Returned at 5:30, went straight to room, and had not been cleaned and smelled of rotton eggs. Was assigned new room, and sink was dirty, bed was rumpled and waste baskets sitting in middle of room.
The cleanest and, most accommodating of all of my traveling. Always great and greeted very professionally. The facility is very clean and well-kept. Ashly is always on top of all aspects of my stay and everyone makes sure everyone is accommodated as needed.
Every staff member I encountered was extremely nice and helpful. It was very nice, new and clean. We left early so I have no idea how on the breakfast. The only gripe that I have is that these are the smallest queen size beds I have ever seen!!!
We really liked our stay at the Best Western In Omak. The room furnishings were nice with a sitting area. It felt new yet the front desk told us the hotel was 10 years old. The breakfast was also particularly good.
The only way I would recommend this hotel would be with the understanding the outcome of the visit is questionable. We've stayed a few times as we've recently had business in that area. The first time the toilet was overflowing after 20 minutes we finally found the clerk at the desk and she handed us a toilet plunger. Breakfast was good. The second time we stayed someplace else. The third time breakfast was horrible!
Picked Bests Western Plus Peppertree because of location in Omak, close to a restaurant that turned out to be very good and we could walk to it. Peppertree is new and clean. Great room had couch to watch tv from which was a bonus.
Wonderful, restful and enjoyable. Easy to find as it is on the main way traveling towards the Canadian border heading north on Hwy 97. Great stop in Omak as it has major shopping to include a JC Penneys, a Walmart and Kentucky Fried Chicken as well as a McDonalds. I shopped at the Safeway and found the deli and the fresh vegetables great. Direct access to all roads and destinations.
Very nice to find an oasis like this in the middle of the Washington State desert. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service by all the staff is exceptional. The food put out for breakfast is good with a nice variety.
I believed I had made a reservation for 24th June. On the way to take up the booking I discovered that the web site I had used had defaulted back to July from June and on arrival in Omak my booking was refused. I pointed out the difficulty of using their website and its propensity to default to a future date when the hotel was already fully booked for the date intended. Despite my requests to cancel the booking which was Four weeks ahead the Hotel insisted on retaining my money when obviously they would relet my booked room again as by that time (22th July) I am back in the UK. As a foreign tourist I think the hotels policy on cancellation is so customer unfriendly as be almost unbelievable. Shame on the Best Western brand.
Really new and clean hotel! Large pretty room with microwave and fridge. Guest laundry available, pool, and a very nice breakfast. Breakfast included cereal, eggs, and fresh fruit. Definitely recommend.
The hotel was a great surprise to us, think Omak was a border town. The lobby was bright and well maintained. Room was large and clean. The front desk girls sent us to the Mexican restaurant and it was the best we have ever had.
Staff and manager were awesome! The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and we slept great. I like all the decor throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel was great being close to restaurants and shopping.
Good location, pleasant staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast . Helpful front desk night shift man who was knowledgeable about my lap top computer that "died" that day. Enjoyable stop on my long roadtrip
Well run facility with great breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay here again. Close to Omak tennis club! Was there for two days and only hitch was a missed wake up call! Nothing to get to upset about!
I really like they way that the room had electrical and charging outlets out where you can use them and not where you have to move the furniture to get to them. Our group of 17 had a good stay and enjoyed the pool and the breakfast (not at the same time).
clean comfortable room, quiet, friendly, good WIFI all anyone can ask for. Good food and if an area close to everything needed. Will stay here everytime i am in the area. I usually stay at Best Western whenever traveling
We have family in the area so we have stayed at the Best Western, Omak Inn, the 12 Tribes Casino and the Quality Inn (formally Okanogan Inn or "Cedars"). The last one, in Okanogan, I would never, ever recommend. If you have a pet with you, the options are the Best Western and Omak Inn. If we go again, I would stay at the Omak Inn. It's much cheaper and just as nice. It's slightly more dated, but it's a better value with great staff and clean, comfortable rooms. If you don't have a pet and want really nice rooms, the 12 Tribes Casino is the way to go. We loved that place. We did not have our dog with us this time, so we had a regular room at the Best Western. The biggest complaint was the set-up of the room. The bathroom sinks are basically in the bedroom so it's impossible for one person to sleep or get rest while another person get's ready or makes coffee, etc. And unfortunately we had a room (413) right off the elevator so we could hear people coming and going. The other thing that I personally did not care for, was that they did not have little bottles of shampoo in the room, but had a dispenser in the shower. Anyone could access the openings for this, so to me it's like getting used butter at a restaurant. They did have a sign that you could request individual bottles at the front desk, but by the time I realized the situation, I was ready to shower and get going. It was fine, but not ideal. The hot breakfast was okay. The first day there was not enough batter for waffles and the second day it was a bit runny, but okay. They did offer eggs & hash browns which was nice. The size of the breakfast area was great so there was no concern in finding space or food. The staff was really friendly, but almost too much as they would have conversations with other guests while two other parties waited patiently and after driving for 5 hours to get there, I didn't have a lot of patience with me at that point. Like I said, the hotel was adequate. I feel it was a bit pricey for the size. But it was clean and comfortable, with newish furniture, etc.
This hotel was a very good value. Room and hotel overall was spotless. The hot tub and pool tub was clean and staff friendly. A real gem. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and highly recommend this hotel while in Okanagan Valley
The BW Omak, Wa is very well situated to all that Omak has to offer. The Staff are excellent, friendly, professional and helpful . We will stay at this Hotel anytime we are near Omak and will recommend it to others..
Clean, very nice and comfortable. Great selection for breakfast. We used the hot tub and it was very nice and clean. The only bad experience I had was that the front desk was very, very slow. The lady at the front desk was very nice, but didn't know how to multitask so check in and asking questions was very slow.
Beautiful clean room, very comfortable beds & pillows. Didn't have enough towels though for the 3 of us registered, so had to ask for more. Only complaints were that the pool hot tub jets were not working- we were so looking forward to those after a long day of work! Apparently parts were on order, but that didn't help us. The warm water was great though & the pool very nice and clean. Then, our air/heat unit did not work, but we didn't need it and notice that until the morning. We were checking out, so told them at the desk. It is in a very convenient area, close to shopping and restaurants. Their breakfast was awesome for a DIY option- omlette bar & real oatmeal plus all the regular items, spacious seating. I will stay here again when I come back to Omak!
I stay here whenever work takes me too this area. It is the best and cleanest hotel in the area. The rooms are large, decorated well, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are quick and amazing.
My employment has recently changed to involve extensive amounts of travel. This hotel is one I choose to return to when I visit Omak, WA for business. I would stay at this hotel if I was in Omak for pleasure, as well. It's easy access, quiet environment, and pleasant staff are very commendable. Perfect place to stay in a small town!
Love coming here....quiet, restful and a great place to get work done. Only place I have stayed in Omak and if they keep this up, only place I will :) Breakfast can be had in the hotel or at many restaurants close by. I usually only average about 9 hours in a hotel each night so I can't vouch for what its like during the day. However, I wake up clean and refreshed so its worth my time and money for sure!
We were here about three years ago. At that time it was a great place to stay. this time was no different. There had been some upgrades, new linen, painting the building inside and out. New decor in the lobby. Really spruced up from last visit. Hotel staff as usual were pleasant and great.
If it wasn't for an ongoing baby shower where we as motel guests usually use, our stay was fine. However those men, women, teens and small kids should NOT have been allowed and/or for as long a time. Some were not even adequately dressed. Food , liquid etc & balloons tossed. Filthy
On a recent motorcycle trip stayed at this best western before crossing into Canada and a few days later on return. Excellent hotel, friendly staff, right on hiway 97. No disappointment here. Front desk helpful with dining recommendations and directions
This hotel was a nice surprise as we explored north-central Washington. The room was spacious , clean, quiet and comfortable. Best features; multiple electrical plugs, 2 person sink, roomy shower and comfortable bed and bedding minus extraneous pillows.
The is a newer Best Western in an area of Washington that is pretty far from any larger cities. That being said, it is centrally placed to be near a shopping area, several fast food and dining options and close to the main highway. It was easy to find and had many amenities. The free breakfast was good standard fare and there was plenty of dining area to sit. There is also a happy hour reception with some popcorn and greatly reduced price on beer. The rooms come in several options. I stayed in a normal 2 queen room and it was clean and faced away from the highway. I had a view of a open field and very little noise. I was on the 3rd floor. There are stairs and an elevator. My friend received a room facing the highway but it was still quiet. She also took the option of the energy efficient room. I think they are similar in set up but the lighting in the efficient room has a cooler feel than the lighting in the regular room. I prefer brighter and warmer colors so I was happy my room wasn't energy efficient. (although I love the environment) The bathroom was a little difficult to navigate because the door was so close to the toilet and there isn't a lot of room to move around in there. There was no extra's but was what is to be expected from a Best Western. I was happy with the cleanliness and service from the front desk. They accommodated all my requests and were very friendly!
The staff as a whole was helpful to questions but the hotel was understaffed on the weekend. Breakfast was extremely slow and the hotel did not have enough staff to service all rooms on the weekend. I am not overly confident that I would be willing to recommend this hotel in the future.
Aside from holes in the bedding; maybe moth holes and a few hairs in the shower the room was okay. bathroom finishes were average but room and common areas overall were decent. TV sound was poor quality and controller didn't allow adjustment. Programming and DirecTV was nice. Coffee served in real mugs was nice too. Breakfast was decent.
Extra points in my book for pet-free room, which is now getting hard to find. Very clean, great bed and linens.Room was cheaper with only shower, which was roomy and better than a tub anyway. Internet was fast.
I've only stayed one day here, however I've booked several weeks for my employees this year, and they've enjoyed their stay, and requested I book this hotel for their next stay. The only issue I had was the shower seemed backwards. Good value, clean facility.
The hotel was very nice. Our toilet wasn't working and the front desk person promptly moved us to another room. We were in town for a wedding and had several family members in other rooms. The front desk person was very accommodating in making sure we could be in close proximity to our relatives rooms.
The motel was totally full, but the staff made me feel that they would take the time to help if anything came up, which it didn't. The breakfast menu was good and the staff kept the items full so everyone got as much as they wanted.
although the internet was slow- the breakfast and clean rooms help make up for it. It has to be the nicest motel in Omak at erea and nicest one we stay at in North Central Washington where we stay for work once a month when out of town. walling distance to fast food and other restaurants. The paint striping in front of motel looks great.
Front desk staff need to be trained better so they can check me in quickly. I waited 20 minutes behind another couple, and all I could sense was confusion on how to operate the computer and the check in procedure. Also the remote control for the TV didn't work. I asked them to change the batteries but that didn't solve the problem. Give me the actual price right off. Please don't make me bargain with you for a lower price.
This is a first-class hotel, with great service and a friendly staff. It is conveniently located off the main highway. The rooms were modern and clean and the towels were nice and thick. It's a good location with lots of fast-food eating places near it. Also some regular restaurants nearby. Breakfast was cooked and there were a lot of options, including yogurt and juices. There was a microwave and cooler in the rooms, as well. The overall experience staying here was exceptional.
I'd stay here again. Best Western has really upped their game. Room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. My only dislike was the fitness center. It was a tiny space with lots of mirrors. I opted for a walk outside.
This hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and a welcome surprise in Omak. The staff was efficient, everything in working order, and the room was beautiful. My table had a live orchid on it. The decor was inviting, unlike what is found in many rural areas. A true delight!
Super friendly at check in and check out. I've stayed here before and I will definitely stay here again. Clean rooms & good breakfast. The location was nice- close to businesses and easy to get back on the road.
This motel is OK for a small town. The breakfast is somewhat limited. We stay here on the way somewhere else so it is OK for that purpose. We have not tried any other motel in Omak so have nothing to compare it to.
I travel frequently with my job and have changes to my schedule. I tried to cancel my last night and was told I prepaid and would be charged. There was nothing in the confirmation about this. I spoke with the Manager and there was nothing she could do about it. I will never stay there again.
Another wonderful stay at this hotel! Staff are accommodating, efficient, and friendly. Amenities are great. The beds are very comfortable. At BW, the customer ALWAYS comes first! The breakfast offers a large variety of options, and the omelets are great! Very clean in all aspects. No noises; able to get restful nights' sleep each visit!
Comforter and linen had blood stains, dog food on the floor. Missing pillow case, stained towels, only given two towels even though family of 4 checked in. Breakfast items were the same during our 4 day stay at the hotel, most hotels change up some breakfast items.
stayed here for 7 days every morning the breakfast was crap there was no breakfast meat they wouldn't serve any bacon they only had sausage on some days if they ordered it egg were runny how do you serve runny powered eggs every thing was kind of dirty and messy on a good note my room was kept very clean Jessica seemed to rally care about her job
Our trip to Omak Wa was to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary and to do some across the border shopping. It was a very pleasant trip and we enjoyed staying at the Best Western. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay
From the new carpeting and electronic light switches, this place is a gem. We had fabulous service, lovely surroundings and a tasty full hot breakfast. They have an after hours beverage bar available. We would love to stay in this fascility on another occasion.
Obviously friendly people. Also had vary good value for the amenities offered from the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was vary good also. The breakfast had a lot of options. Had to fill space.....
Loved this hotel. Was very pleased with it.Very clean, the breakfast was very nice. Location of hotel is perfect and the personal are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel . Value wise it is very good .
Very satisfactory. Met my expectations well..I was on business here and stayed for 2 nights. The experience was great. We worked here 2 years ago for 6 weeks and was well taken care of then as well. RECOMMENDED
Very quiet, clean, and comfortable hotel. Front-desk staff excel at customer service! Great omelet breakfasts! Good selection of breakfast foods. Lobby is very attractive. Nice selection of snacks and gifts in the gift shop.
Nice hotel. At times I would stay at Howards on the lake in Pateros but their staff were rude. It is worth the extra travel to stay at the Best Western in Omak when I am in the area for business. The location is close to restaurants and local business and next to the HWY 97 corridor. Relatively quick travel times to Twisp and Winthrop. Chelan is not far. A good place to stay if you are traveling the Highway 20 Scenic rout in the summer.
My husband and I chose to stay at this hotel for the first time in September 2011 based on a recommendation from a colleague who stayed here whenever he visited one of our clinics in Omak. We liked our first stay here then that we chose to stay here again for the second time in September 2016 prior to our second trip to the North Cascades National Park. My husband and I travelled far and wide and this hotel is the only place (that we've stayed so far) that opens its swimming pool 24 hours to its guests. For us, it is important, as we use this facility in every hotel we've stayed. Breakfast is a plus, with choices ranging from sausages, eggs, make-your-own waffle, bread, coffee, including varieties of food for children, This hotel is far from traffic, therefore it is quiet at night. There are two restaurants nearby at walking distance for dinner. This place does not have a restaurant. During our last stay, we had to ask for a garbage can (our room didn't have one), which was promptly delivered. Shampoo, soap and conditioner are now in dispensers. The downside to which is, when the conditioner was empty, and it should have been replenished. My hair needed a lot of conditioner after soaking in the swimming pool, would have been nice to have an ample amount of conditioner on hand. I love the swivel chairs, they are very comfortable. Very spacious handicap room. I also like the electrical system where there is a plug in available for USB chargers. Plenty of outlets available all over our room. Overall, our stay here was excellent. Staff were courteous and service was excellent. But there is still room for improvement on little things, but still just as important, that gets overlooked.
The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The employees were nice as could be. The location was great as it is close to nearly everything and the view from the room was great. The Breakfast was great. I will be back
Great dog friendly hotel. The hotel is spotless. The rooms large and comfortable. Great pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet has eggs, sausage and waffles. Plus no extra fee for the four legged guests.
Very Nice place for sleeping. Nice chambers , i was there to visit the omak stampede with my friends Dave and beth. Nice place to visit, it was the first i was over there . If i go back to omak. For sure i take a room in peppertree inn.
Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Didn't have a chance to use any of the facilities, as we were only there one night, but I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly.
This 8-yr old Best Western Plus lives up to being a 'plus'! The rooms are beautifully appointed - nice shower, comfy bed and lovely linens at a moderate rate. There is an indoor pool. They offer a good complimentary breakfast in nice big rooms (omelettes, pancakes, yogurt and continental items). It is right next to the highway but noise was minimal - EXCEPT for the sound of some kind of cart in the hallway a few times from 5:50am on (and I wear ear plugs). Despite this I would stay again.
I've stayed at this hotel numerous times on business and leisure. It's always consistent in quality and value. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff is so nice as well. I would recommend that on the weekends, the breakfast area could use a little more staff to help out with the big crowds. It was hard for the staff to keep up with the buffet and cleaning the areas accordingly. I will stay there again and again, when I'm in the Okanogan. Love this part of WA state.
The Peppertree is always comfortable, clean, and has the best customer service! Their staff are knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and have nice amenities. I've never had a bad night's sleep here.
Excellent hotel, extremely clean, wonderful comfortable beds and bed linens. Amazing breakfast with many fresh fruit offerings, buffet with eggs, ham, potatoes, waffle maker, prepared real oatmeal with lots of toppings, and a unique omelet maker with a variety of fillings
When we entered the lobby of this mid-rise hotel, we were impressed by the reception/lobby area... and the reception staff were VERY friendly, both at check-in and upon check-out. While my wife & I found the room a bit more "narrow" than other hotel rooms we had experienced during our Washington driving trip, we were quite impressed with the features of the room. We appreciated...granite (or granite-like) shower stall.... shower's soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser ala cruise ship design... PLENTY of electric and USB ports for charging our gadgets... AND, the padded bed frames! (Have you ever skinned your shins when the housekeeping staff mis-aligned the mattress box on the bed frame? It won't happen here!)
Lane Priest, Assistant Manager, showed us exceptional customer service. We arrived for an overnight with my elderly father-in-law, having booked a family suite which would give him the privacy of a bedroom to himself. Somebody goofed and this room was not available, nor were there any suites available for that night. Mr. Priest did not bat an eye. First, he believed me when I said I had booked the suite. Then he made the situation just right by offering us two rooms at about the same price as the suite would've been. I was so impressed by the calm and thoughtful way he solved our dilemma. We have been longtime Hilton Honor members, but I think we're ready to switch to Best Western if all their hotels are as nice as this one. Lovely colors in the rooms, pretty art combined with nice furniture, a good bed and snowy white towels were part of the experience. The room was very quiet, the services like the pool and hot tub are 24/7 and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone.
Spent one night here. The room size is what we were looking for with my wife, child and mother all staying. The separation of rooms was ideal. The TV in my Mother's room did not work. Although the manager responded quickly to make the repair, he did not know how to properly set up the audio and we were without that for the evening. The breakfast was something you would expect at a low end hotel. We paid 160 for the night and we expected more. We would have even paid for more had it been an option. We were underwhelmed with the eggs, potatoes and toast that most lower end hotels offer.
This was our second stay at the BW in Omak. Initially impressed with the staff at check-in. Room looked clean. Late in the evening, just as we're retiring for the night, we noticed that the sheets were dirty. Brown marks. You can guess what it was based on these pictures. Looking at it, I don't think that the bedding linens were changed prior to our stay. Called down to the front desk, 20 minute later a guy drops off two sheets,a pillow, and a blanket. "Here you go", doesn't say anything else or come in to look at the bedding, so I'm guessing that this happens quite a bit? We change the sheets, wife isn't sure what else is dirty, so we use t-shirts as pillow cases and she sleeps in her clothes just in case. I think typically it's a pretty good place to stay, just that dirty sheets pretty much take the focus off of anything nice about our stay.
Still trying to figure out what Best Western Plus means besides they charge more. Other than that It was pretty good. Check-in was okay, rooms were clean everything kinda worked as expected. The breakfast looked okay if you eat that kind of stuff. We took some bananas and coffee and hit the road. Stay mostly because of the location, but it is a okay place to stop. Beds are good and the plumbing works. I would stay again, but it's not on a must stop list. It's just convenient.
Another pleasant stay at this hotel. Late check in and a late check out, since I brought my spouse. She enjoyed the pool and the TV in the room. Rooms are nice size. Breakfast has added make your own omelets but still no biscuit and gravy, which is my go to breakfast when traveling. Overall another great stay at this hotel.
Room comfortable, clean and quiet. Don't waste your time having breakfast there as terrible both days. No coffee both days and items not replenished. You had to ask for condiments like cream cheese, tea. Hashbrowns never replenished so did without.
Nice room. The only complaint about the room, which is hardly anything, is that there was no channel guide in the room. They normally would have a decent breakfast. I say normally, because there was hardly any food available. The food was barely replenished. We never saw any potatoes, the waffle mix was out right after I had gotten one. The make your own omelets, barely any cheese/ham was avail, they never refilled the onions/peppers the whole time I was in there. There were hardly any "pastries" available. The apple juice was out. And at one point I saw people standing there waiting for plates, because those were out too. If you're looking for a nice/decent hotel to stay at in Omak area, this would be a good choice. If you're expecting to have breakfast, don't expect much. (I read a previous review on breakfast and there was a response that the service was going to be better, but if this was better, I'd hate to see what it was like before). P.S. My "very good" rating on service for hotel, is only on the desk staff, not the breakfast staff.
This is a top notch hotel for being in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was pretty extensive although food would sometimes run out. The pool was great. Room was very clean with nice amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
Never in my 40 years of travelling have I been told that I need to pay a $10.00 fee to check in early when my room was ready early. I refued to pay to check in early. I travelled as a salesman for 40 years and spent up to 100 nights a year and never had to pay a fee to check in early. Totally a bad ploicy.Even though I loved this hotel, I probably will not return.
We would not have been more pleased with the BW Plus Peppertree Inn. The receptionist provided recommendations for dinner and she did not disappoint. The "fresh bread bar" at the restaurant was amazing. The hotel staff was exceptional; the breakfast excellent; and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a spotless room.
Busy but a nice place to stay.Quiet and a great staff.Stayed 3 weeks. Parking did get tight at night but the lot is well lighted.Halls entrance doors are secure .Rooms are nice except for a pillow used on the bed for decor.Ugly,if I could have put it in the dumpster I would have. Nice hot breakfast options. My next trip back this will be the spot. Picked up some Euros and other change where the vac couldn't suck them up. But the room was very clean.
This Hotel is newly updated modern furnishings brand new colorful carpets a shower instead of a tub which was very nice in a town that is very far away from everything. It was also very quiet which was great for a good nights sleep as well as a very comfy mattress & linens. All in all very nice!
Awesome stay. Place was clean and the service was excellent. The variety of food for the breakfast was good. I would recommend this place over others in the area. Situated about one hour south of Oroville. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.
This is a smallish hotel that is clean and stylish. The pool stays open ALL night. Traveling north, we walked into a few other hotels in nearby Okanogan, but was unimpressed and decided to see if Omak offered anything better - glad we pushed through. [Note: My hotel ratings for these types of just-passing-through hotels do not mean I think a place is of a 1 to 5 star quality, rather, they reflect my opinion of the cost vs. area vs. cleanliness ratio.]
It was horrible. We get to breakfast around 7:30 and everything hot was out, including coffee. The staff was a huge let down in handling the problem. The night staff was super nice and the room was nice.
The best Western in Omak is one of my regular stops when I go to Omak to ride my motorcycle. I stayed here with a friend and we enjoyed a very clean, modern room, nearby restaurants and a great breakfast. Staff was friendly and we had a quiet night sleep. This hotel is on the edge of town and does not have much character, but it is very enjoyable.
This was not our first time at the Peppertree Inn. Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. The Managers Receptionwas not available due to construction. We experienced a charge for early check in but we chose to find something to do for the hour we were early. Otherwise a good stay.
This hotel has accommodating staff, great amenities, and offers a restful night's sleep. Great place to stay for business or pleasure. Lobby is very inviting; guest rooms are comfortable and quiet. Pool and hot tub are well-maintained and clean. Location is easy access off highway.
Although this is the best hotel in Omak, the level of service has declined. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the morning breakfast is good but nothing special. They used to offer a Manager's reception in the evening but they no offer it.
Clean room and good selection at the complimentary breakfast. Rooms are oversized with comfy beds. All rooms have microwave and mini fridge. Wi-Fi fast and reliable. We now know where to stay while visiting Omak
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful on the amenities and places to eat in the area. Great place to stay. If you are planning to stay in the Omak, Washington area this is the place you will not go wrong with.
This stay could not of been any better. The hotel had really nice decor and also a friendly staff. They also have a pet friendly no fee policy which was perfect for us and our dog. It has a great pool and hot tub area indoor and a fitness center right next to that. In a pretty good location for Omak, right by a restaurant Koala Grill with amazing food. Also has a subway next door too. Other places to eat really close along with some shopping stores.
We found this to be a very nice stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast starting at 6 am and the only complaint we would have is that the breakfast items were not all ready at 6. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!
* good location right by highway without the loud noise * continental breakfast had a few hot item options * very comfy beds - spacious room with sitting area * very clean and up to date * friendly staff * one of the top 2 places to stay in Omak for sure * great value
We were on our way to British Columbia. Good clean hotels are not close in this area of Washington. We changed our minds 3 times or more about where to stay. We found this jewel and I am so glad we did. The market was open at the park in town to purchase fresh fruit. We told the manager what we purchased, when we returned. He told us which fruits he would have for us at the complimentary breakfast the next morning: peaches and nectarines. We were treated like family, and the room as very clean. This hotel looks new or has been updated nicely. It was over 100 degrees the day we arrived, so we enjoyed the AC tremendously. The manager and the front desk employees were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very enjoyable also. Thank you BW!!!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Peppertree in. It had comfortable rooms and was a great value to include breakfast and several amenities. The location is nice as it's close to the highway and shopping if needed.
When I first saw the BW Peppertree Inn I was very pleased with the exterior of the hotel because it looked clean and new. The 3 of us stayed in a room with 2 beds with a sitting area. The layout was really weird. There was no sink in the bathroom because it was in the main area where the beds and sitting area was (right by the front door). However there was two sinks which was nice but I much rather have one sink in the bathroom than 2 outside. The beds were average, not extremely comfortable but not uncomfortable. The TV gave us a lot of heck though, we would be in the middle of watching a show and the TV channel would disappear. It's hard to explain but we would go through the channels again and it wouldn't be there. Also the TV didn't have a guide to know what shows were on which means you had to channel surf. Breakfast was the worst part of our stay. On our first day we went for the breakfast at the hotel, there was very limited options because everything looked very picked over. The only fruit options they had was a peach and an apple and they did not look appetizing. There was a small fridge full of yogurt but there was no low fat option. Each yogurt contained almost 200 calories! There was breakfast potatoes but they tasted dry and I isn't finish the ones on my plate. I also got an apple fritter which was very stale. There was some bread and bagels which you could toast too which is pretty much all I ate. The coffee was hot but the cereal container next to it was almost empty (all that was left was fruit loops). The man serving the breakfast, I guess he was the cook but I use the term very lightly. He should have been wearing a hair and beard restraint. Clean professional shoes would have been nice too. He looked as if he just rolled out of bed and went to work. He was nice to talk to, he just needs to appear more professional and food safe. The next day we went for breakfast was a little better and was food items were better stocked. Overall I may go back because this is the only decent hotel in Omack and its close to Walmart, Safeway and JC Penny. But Best Western really needs to improve their breakfast service.
Happy to stay here again, would recommend this hotel to my mother ! Clean , fresh and friendly. TV quality was great, several options for breakfast and lots of other restaurants nearby although most of them fast food, couple of big stores close by, Walmart and North country.
Went on a road trip to see small town America, and stayed the evening in Omak at the BW. It is certainly a gem in the middle of an otherwise sparse area for good hotels. We were treated very well by the young man on the desk, who was very friendly and courteous. We had a great room, and the breakfast in the morning was a typical BW breakfast, which we always enjoy. Kudos to the staff and the hotel which we felt was well above the usual standards.
The Motel was fairly new and had a 24 hour swimming pool. The room was very clean and lots of amenities. Also had a complimentary breakfast which was very good. Lots of choices. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.
This the place to stay while in Omak. First class. Fair price for room that was clean and well-appointed. Happy hour with $1 beers, pool table, free popcorn. Easy to get to restaurants and local shops. Make your own omelette in the morning! They even have an automatic pancake maker ??.
Hands down this is the BEST Best Western I've ever stayed. Wow!!! A big new hotel with amenities like an indoor pool, computer for guests to use in lobby, hot breakfast, a mini store for snacks and beverages - including adult beverages! When I arrived I was tired and hot after driving all day long. Temps bounced between 97 and 100. I walked into the lobby and was immediately welcomed by the friendliest and nicest front desk person. She was so positive and welcoming. Check in was fast. She even suggested a Mexican restaurant for dinner which I ended up getting take-out. My room was HUGE and so inviting. The bed was beyond comfortable and nicely made up with decorative pillows and duvet. I love having a mini fridge in the room, too. My room was on the first floor and right next to one of the outside exits, but it was incredibly quiet. I never heard anyone and my Pug who barks at a blade of grass moving didn't bark once. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed at in a very long time. The Peppertree really sets the bar high. Forget all the other places in Omak and surrounding area, just book yourself a room at the Best Western Peppertree Inn.
There are 3 or 4 other hotels/motels in Omak but the Best Western is definitely the best. It is clean, conveniently located and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good, not great.
Stayed at the BW in Omak for work. The hotel is relatively new and well appointed. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Beds are comfortable and bedding good quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Main gripe was a common one. The internet was awful. Barely enough bandwidth to load a basic webpage in the evening. IMO it is unacceptable in 2016 to have a new hotel with poor connectivity for the rates they charge per night. Other than that the hotel is a great option.
I stayed here for a night on the weekend of August 1st. I will start by saying that it sure was a pleasure to stay here. Pros: -Modern. This place is new. A huge plus if you're picky or easily grossed out. That also means that design allowed for outlets and plug-ins to be easily accessible for your many devices. -Clean from lobby to your room. You will follow the fresh smell everywhere. -Comfortable beds, linens, towels. -Spacious rooms. No tripping over each other. -Staff was super friendly. Nice to walk in to a professional and polished establishment. -Really easy to find. It's Omak. Everything is easy to find. Right off highway 97. You can't miss it. -Continental breakfast. Not much for fruit or muffins. But who cares when you can have an omelet or waffle? *-Pretty quiet for the most part. Highway noise was dampened. Corridor noise and thumping can be a bit of an issue if you're sensitive to it. Our neighbor came and went at all hours and let his door slam which was jarring especially at midnight. That was my only frustration since I requested a top floor room. Cons: -As I understand that it's summer and room rates are ALWAYS high, I almost wasn't going to mention it. I paid $140 US for a two bed queen room. As for us Canadian visitors, that translates into almost $200 a night after taxes and exchange. But it's not like I wasn't expecting it. I would recommend this hotel to friends and should I need a place to stay in Omak again, I will definitely book here.
I was travelling from Spokane to Seattle taking the back roads and enjoying the Okanagan Valley. The Peppertree Inn offered a large clean room with a beautiful view and it was close to shopping and food. Front desk staff were courteous, friendly and professional.
We stayed at the BW Peppertree in Omak, WA on our way home from a wonderful road trip. We were looking for clean and comfortable and this hotel was first rate. Happy staff were able to add extra touches of service that helped to make this a great choice when on the road.
Clean room with standard furnishings and amenities. Bedside table had a multi-outlet adapter for charging cell phones etc, which I appreciated. Slow check in process, but I arrived around 9pm so I think I might have gotten the night crew. Breakfast included a good variety of fruits, yogurts, cereals, hot oatmeal, toasts and pastries, scrambled eggs, make-you-own omelets and make-you-own waffles. Windows are somewhat thin so if there are people making noise in the parking lot outside your room then you can hear it all.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, I have stayed at this property several times and have always enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to shopping and restaurants and a short drive from the casino. The also have a nice pool and hot tub which is open 24/7.
Booked this hotel and was quoted $95 a night for the room, confirmation came in at $116.00. Called so see why and the booking girl just said, no, that is the price of the room. So I told her its a fair bit higher than quoted for and would phone other hotels for prices. She says immediately, do you want me to cancel that room,(great customer service) and I said yes, . Cancellation form came for a room for 125.99, may have just been a few errors made by staff but booked the hotel next door and got a confirmation for the price quoted. Just buyer beware.... We've had breakfast cancelled on us on a previous stay because they were hosting a conference(no discount or even forewarning), have been given 4 keys to rooms to go and find a room with two separate beds on our own. Hopefully BW gets going with some customer appreciation training here soon and we'll look at rebooking some day.
Enjoyed our stay here. This is the second town south of the Canadian Border. It is worth the drive. The staff is excellent, the room clean, and spacious. An excellent Best Western Plus. We did not use the Express Breakfast.
We were on a road trip along the North Cascades Highway on our way to Glacier National park and found this gem of a hotel. The staff were very helpful, answering all of our questions. The hotel was very clean, very quite and we will stay there again if we travel through this area.
I travel a lot and sometimes a good room is hard to find. The place is clean and decent size. Sink located outside the bathroom. Plenty of outlets throughout the room. Beds are comfortable. Fridge and microwave in the room. Only think I'd complain about is the showerhead which is fixed and doesn't allow you to change the setting, but there is good water pressure....just is one of those water savers so feels like not enough water is coming out for me. Lights work with a key...another energy saving feature. Bottle opener mounted to the wall. They thought of just about everything. Internet service is ok and slow in the evenings...probably because everyone is using it. Overall a great place and would stay again. They do not have a bar/restaurant on-site, another negative for me. Breakfast served in the mornings.
The rooms were very modern and updated with nice looking cabinets, beds and headboards. The hotel card also controls your lights and heat settings in the room, which I found to be a new experience, and couldn't think of any drawbacks of doing so when I used it. The breakfast area was also very modern and had a lot of seating. Several rows of tall cafe/island style seating was available on one side of the room and the other had standard height tables and comfortable chairs. Breakfast was very good. Aside from your standard oats, cereals, fruits, bagels and make-your-own waffle stations, the hotel also offered locally-sourced apricots, among other fruits, offered fresh donuts and Danish pastries that weren't your overly processed packed get goods you would expect, and offered a make-your-own omelette bar with a few nice toppings. The pool is also opened 24-hours which was nice for the kids. These are the things that were most impressive to us and stood out from the competition. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Omak, but did see another hotel next door but the Best Western Plus was sizably larger and commands your attention when you're driving past, it also was very well-lit and had a nice video-surveillance system in place so we felt comfortable leaving our gear in the van overnight. We were too tired after a day of driving to pay much attention to whether or not they had free Wi-Fi or if it was fast (I know...) but with everything we experienced we will recommend this hotel to others.
Good location. Great pool and hot tub. Probably stayed at this property 30 times and we've never even considered staying anywhere else in Omak. Rooms are huge. Sleep quality and bed/pillow comfort amazing. For security reasons I was granted permission to park my motorcycle (as I have been allowed to the last 3 times I've stayed at this property) on the sidewalk entrance area, under cover right next to the front door.
Modern in look. Very professional and courteous staff. The room was very nice and relaxing. Clean and very modern looking. We enjoyed our stay here. The bed could have been more comfortable but it was fine. We would stay here again. The price was great and the breakfast that was offered looked fantastic. We had breakfast plans elsewhere or we would have tried it out there.
We stopped here on a bicycle trip and we were very glad we did. We arrived early - around 12:30 and we amazed the room was ready. Greeted with complementary cold water bottles and chocolate and the room is perfect. Richly appointed with 2 nice chairs a great desk and plenty of outlets and usb charging ports
disappointed.. Cable was down most of the night. Intermittent tv reception. Loud air conditioner. Breakfast room understaffed unclean and items not refilled timely. Also located on edge of town with poor access from Highway.
Felt welcome from the minute we checked in till we left. The staff definitely elevate this hotel. Rooms were clean & neat and despite some minor rooms issues we would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone on a trip.
The hotel stays the night before, and the night after staying at this Best Western couldn't have done a better job highlighting the shortfalls of this stay. The night before was the perfect example of what a remodel looks like when you care about your hotel, and the night after shows what good service can do to improve your opinion of a hotel. I started my experience here by waiting quite awhile in line, then getting passed up for someone that decided to walk up to the other side of the counter after I got in line. Not a big deal, but I should have taken it as a sign. When helped, I asked if there were any rooms available. I was told that there were, but only two-queen rooms. That's fine. She asked me for my ID and credit card. Sign number two. I started to get them out, then realized I hadn't been given a price. I never make reservations when I'm driving, because as much as I try to plan it I can't say for sure if I'll make it where I'm trying to get that night. I have never once not been told how much a room was before the assumption was made that I would take it. I was told a price that was much higher than I had researched earlier in the day. I asked what the AAA rate was, and it was lower, but still more than 15% higher than the standard rate I had found online. I asked if there she was sure that was the best she could do, and she said yes. I told her I would just make the reservation online, and did. With AAA, through Best Western's OWN website, it was nearly 30% cheaper than the original rate she quoted me. AND they had a king room available. I waited in line some more, a somewhat curt man helped me, I was told that the king room reservation would not be honored because they were overbooked (really? This isn't a plane), but whatever. The woman that originally helped me asked if I did better online. She did seem to care some, and it did seem genuine that her hands were tied, but someone in management is trying to pull something that I don't appreciate. Yes, I know hotels play games, but I have never had one in all my travels do something like this, and I will avoid those that are that obvious at playing the games. The other major problem: the "remodel." It was clear they had remodeled the hotel not that long ago, but it appeared to be a very cheap remodel. In the previous hotel I stayed at, it was pretty clear they took everything down to the studs when they remodeled. I'm not sure they even took off the old wallpaper before they painted here. There were gaps in the wall where they measured wrong, the cabinet was either covered in dust, or was in some kind of bad shape, the walls in the bathroom were peeling. It just makes no sense to me why you would bother spending money on a poor remodel. Do it right the first time, and not only will your customers be happy (and return), but you won't have to do it again as soon. Other problems . . . the room wasn't all that clean. There were stains on my sheets and a towel. The internet was painfully slow. The breakfast appeared fine at first, but then I realized there was very little you could have without making it yourself. I realize that the latest fad is to have "make your own pancake" or whatever stations, but this place had it for pancakes, waffles, and omelettes. This meant the only hot thing available that wasn't make-it-yourself was some burnt potatoes. Not all of us want to do your job for you. So, no eggs, or any kind of meat that I could find. I guess this place is acceptable as a one night stopover, but definitely avoid it if you can.
In all my years of travel I have never had the service of one hotel stand out so much in my mind. Every staff person we ran into from reservations agent to front desk to housekeeping to the GM went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Everyone smiles - everyone steps up to help and everyone makes you feel special. As well, the hotel and rooms are spotless and the breakfast is included and the best I have seen. We can't wait to go back and see our new friends at the BW in Omak!
The room we had was recently redone and was nice. It was clean except a bit dusty. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was supposed to be kid free after 10 pm, but was not enforced. The area around the hot tub had been painted, but the paint was peeling all over and floating in the tub. This is probably why the jets quit working. Our TV wasn't working and had to be reprogrammed, needed the front desk to fix that. Which they did fairly quickly. Two other couples had to change rooms, one was because their room hadn't been cleaned (this was at 7:30 at night).
We were down for a ball tournament and spent 2 nights here. The rooms were clean and bright. The bathroom was a bit dark though. The free breakfast was a let down. No bacon or sausage, though it did have an omelette maker which was a bit useless as there was a long line up to use it. The pastries were stale and hard as was the bread.
It's easy to see why this is the number one lodging in Omak. Clean room, better than average free breakfast, and a free beer at arrival. Rooms on the west side of the building are probably quieter. East side faces the highway.
Great room. The room was very large and the bed was super comfortable. Very clean and spacious. Staff was great. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. I would stay here again! The included breakfast was very nice. The hotel had a self service guest laundry which worked well.
This hotel was very clean , the staff that greeted us was very nice!! Room was amazing ! The bathroom nice and big and the room was great sooo clean . Easy to find . Located near a resturant. Far enough from the highway to give you a restful night sleep! The breakfast was fresh and there was a wonderful lady that helped you with your every need. She really enjoyed her job and made it fun . Close to all the major stores for last minute shopping .
What a wonderful hotel! Beautiful place and assistant manager, Lane Priest was so accommodating and wonderful! Highly recommend this stay for a family. Great free breakfast, awesome pool, and rooms were spacious, clean, and cool! The restaurant across the street was nice. Big shopping center across the street. The store inside the hotel had all the things you could need.
Well appointed, spacious rooms. Staff was prompt to answer questions. They seemed to genuinely care about their guests. Didn't take advantage of breakfast but the hours of operation were generous. We were there for a high school reunion.
Customer service is perfect! Staff are efficient and accommodating, friendly and professional. Rooms are extremely quiet and always have a comfortable, peaceful stay. The continental breakfast is wonderful with the option of omelets. Very clean accommodations.
Nice hotel, newer, clean and well run. Breakfast was a gong show, but the hotel was full, as its the nicest in town. Not close to downtown though. Wifi is miserable, I measured it at .09mbps. New hotel, why not put in decent wifi. Really. No hope of watching Netflix. Pool is small and indoor. Hot tub was fine. Get dinner at Breadline in town. Awesome.
We found this place to be like a jewel in the desert. We loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but due to to the overall volume of people there they did great. It's great to relax after a long day with relatives.
We stayed at many Best western hotels over the years this one is certainly amongst the top 3 we have been at, great service very cleans and a really good complimentary breakfast. Omak is a neat little town to explore.
The Hotel and staff are great. I did have one night the room was not cleaned and several a garbage can was not emptied. The pool and sauna were not operating Sunday. We like the location that is close to all food sources and easy to drive to from where I am working.
This is a standard BW + hotel. Recent construction and very clean. 5 stars for the service and friendly staff. The breakfast room is big and modern. The breakfast is full, hot and cold choices. They sale items like water bottles, wine and beer (a nice plus). The only down side is the choices of restaurants if you do not want to drive someplace. I recommend this establishment.
Easy access to shops and businesses makes this Best Western Plus a must for any business traveler (or other). Friendly, helpful staff were attentive to any questions/concerns. They had offered 2 free wine vouchers upon arrival at my last stay there, but have discontinued that unfortunately. For beer drinkers, they offer $1 beer cans, but that's it. No cookies were offered either so if you have an evening sweet tooth, byo cookies.
I booked this hotel through hotels.com which I am finding out is a mistake. When I booked it online a while back the hotels.com listed it as having a bathtub. When we checked into the room it did NOT have a bathtub ADA shower only. We went back to the desk and I showed staff a picture I had taken of the listing on hotels.com which shows "bathtub". I took this picture as I have had this problem before with hotels.com bookings in Best Western. The clerk gave us another room but it was 2 queens instead of one King but...it did have a bathtub which my wife requires. The rooms are large, modern and clean and the mattress was wonderful -firm. The pool area is nice and the hot tub was wonderful. Breakfast was a bit of a problem as there was a lineup of 5-6 people waiting for the omelet and waffle machines. Also, the price for this hotel was a bit high. With taxes it came to over $140 - not exactly budget. I am not sure if I am supposed to be mad at Best Western or hotels.com...or both about the advertised bathtub. This same problem has happened 4 other times I can remember. I could not get the wifi to work after multiple attempts. I would connect then dump me within a minute. I gave up and used the marginal 3G of the area
This is a new facility and was absolutely perfect. I'm just sorry that we were only staying 1 night. For breakfast, you could even make yourself an omelet - never seen that one before. I would definitely recommend this as THE PLACE to stay in Omak, WA.
Omak, WA isn't a big place. There's not a lot of options. Thankfully, the Peppertree Inn is a GREAT place to stay. Easy to get to, close to several options for food, quiet, clean and decent sized rooms, reasonably comfortable beds, a great pool for kids that's open 24 hours (kids hours are 7am to 10pm), and more. The breakfast was great, and there was ample room to find a place to sit. The staff was very friendly and helpful... over all, it was a great experience. Next year, we know where we are staying.
The Best Hotel in Okanagan County. If you are looking for a goods nights rest this is your place. The Beds are to die for. Very clean and the people that work here are the best. They go out of there way to make sure you are happy with your stay.
This was our first stay at this motel as we had stayed at the Omak Inn next door on our last overnight trip to the Omak/Okanogan area. The Best Western is newer and shows it well. Rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again!
We stayed here on route for a loop through Canada. As we have come to expect Bestwestern plus hotels are clean comfortable and affordable. This hotel did not disappoint us. The staff were great and informative. It is a bit out of downtown but there is a great little Mexican restaurant close by named El Portal. They don't have tonic and gin and club soda?? The food was very good and would go here again. No night time cookies and milk and the breakfast was average....
The stay was great. The staff was very helpful, the accommodations were fine and the location was just what I wanted. The breakfast was a little lacking, just because I didn't want to cook my own omelet or my own pancakes. Other than that, it was great. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Omak.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We slept very well on comfortable beds. Good places to eat close by.If you like to gamble there is a nice casino (twelve tribes) within five minutes. Free shuttle available on call. The continental breakfast was better than your average one. I would definitely recommend this place as a very good facility for cost ,comfort and value.
Hotel is nice enough, but is more expensive than other options in the region. Continental breakfast was pretty awful. Too many people wanting an omelette (only protein option offered) for the limited cooking equipment. Wait time was unreasonable and should be reconsidered. Not a bad hotel, just expensive and I would think about breakfast elsewhere...
Nice place, Clean newly constructed. Décor is nice modern with High Ceilings. Amazingly quiet considering it's proximity to US 97. Breakfast has nice variety and amazingly fast DIY omelets. Staff has always been most friendly. I have stayed at this facility dozens of times and has always been first class accommodations. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants, easy access to major highways.
This hotel has the best staff! They are all very cordial, accommodating, and efficient. I've never had a bad experience with staff here. Accommodations are comfortable, quiet, and conducive to a good night's rest.
Have stayed here a few times. Always have a very good stay. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast people are all very nice and aim to please. Beds are comfy, lines and towels are great. Set up the room with the sinks in the main area of the room not ideal for my personal choice but I everything else is perfect. I highly recommend this this hotel for stays in Omak!
If you find a reason to stop in Omak, WA this is the place. Small community but very find hotel. Good breakfast and obviously a well run business right on US 97. Also, next to all you need a Safeway, fast food and gas. Scenery in area is beautiful and drive south on US 97 terrific.
Working in the area. This hotel was very good, even though it was farther to the job than other hotels I have stayed at. Everything was clean, staff was very good. I would definitely stay there again whether working or not. It is a very good location near restaurants, convenience stores etc
We were traveling with our dog, and Best Western staff was very helpful. There was no extra fee and he was allowed in the halls with us. We will definitely be staying here again. Very close to the main highway.
We had booked the hotel from New Zealand and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to find. Everything about the hotel was excellent with a very acceptable breakfast and a very nice room. The staff were really great. It was also close to a very acceptable restaurant where we had dinner.
Great hotel centrally located for our three day exploring trip. This hotel lives up to Best Western's "Plus" category. Staff was very friendly and accommodating; the hotel was very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again.
Make sure you take your stuff with you. Any items left will not be turned in. Make sure to ask for service, as they will not provide it. Something is usually broken, the hot tub or washing machine. Don't even try to contact corporate, they are the worst! Horrible non-English speaking agents with no sense of customer service. Also, I checked out and was informed later in the afternoon I need to stay in town for another night by my boss. When I asked to check-in again, they quickly set me up, however placed me in my old room, which had yet to be serviced. Mind you five or so hours had gone by at this point.
The Peppertree in Omak is good value. I had a room that suited my needs. The hotel in general is very pleasing and I would stay there again. The staff was very nice. My overall experience with this Best Western was very good.
Excellent Hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful and friendly! The pool and hot tub were great as well. I would recommend this hotel to people wishing to stay in Omak. We would definitely stay here again!
The Peppertree Inn in Omak, Washington provides a traveler with all of the best one can anticipate when one is away from home. Modern, neat, and clean with great personnel who are friendly and efficient in all aspects of your stay. The breakfast was great and you must try the new omelet machine....yummm.
I stay here weekly, one or two nights each week, and this hotel is clean, comfortable, and has great customer service. The front-desk staff are efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The omelet breakfasts are wonderful and a great way to start the day!
I have been staying at this hotel every other week for a year. The hotel staff are amazing! Extremely courteous. They usually have me pre-checked in with my room key and paperwork ready to go when I walk through the door! Amazing place to stay!
My family and I host a bowling tourney at Omak, WA and stay here each year. Once again, we were very satisfied with everything from service to the pool and breakfast! It's a very nice, clean place with free wifi, the breakfast has plenty of options for kids/adults and the pool is open 24 hrs.
We were delighted with our large, well-equipped room and the above-average breakfast that included made-to-order omelets. The only problem we had on our stay was that the manager could not provide us with a list of the TV channels available in our room, and the "guide" on the TV was not working. I have stayed in many hundreds of hotels, but this is the first time in one where the manager of the hotel did not know what TV channels he was offering his guests.
Facility was very good, staff courteous but sometimes forgetful. Pool was clean and had many features for the elderly. Parking was adequate and convenient. Easy access to local community. Quiet and well kept premises. Room was spacious, had desk, couch, small refrigerator. and micro-wave.
Good value for the cost. Had a one-bedroom suite which was updated and roomy. Great to have the separate bedroom with separate AC and TV for the second bed. Nice living area and desk. Big, well cared for pool area and good breakfast.
Some bedding was dirty, food smashed on wall above sofa, no response to getting help to clean it up. Had to go get own clean sheets. Adults with cooler of beer allowed into the pool/hot tub area. Staff did nothing about the hot tub drinking party. Had to clean up used tissue from around sofa bed by using plastic liner for ice bucket as a glove. Not what I had planned for a spring break trip for my grandchildren. Love Best Western. Not this one.
Great place to stay - queen rooms are very spacious with nice amenities such as double sinks. Nice decor - clean & modern. Quiet hotel and convenient location on the highway. Great breakfast including omelet maker, waffle maker, oatmeal. We plan our trip to stay here on our way home from Arizona.
We love staying at the Best Western in Omak. It is a fairly new building with good working amenities (internet, pool and fitness centre). The food is fresh and there is a good variety of choices that ranges from omelettes with fresh toppings, waffles, breads, cereals, juices, milk and hot beverages.
Very good clean and secure place to rest after a long day of travelling and shopping, Restaurant very close by and all amenities right there at the hotel. Great value for the price! Shopping was a short walk as well and there was great variety in the places to shop. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and what it offered.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in on the planet. The staff was amazing, the room was exceptional. The vacant lot beside the hotel was perfect for my pooch to do a little run and conduct his morning business as it were without inconveniencing anyone else. The omelettes, waffles, hash browns and coffee were scrumptralescent. Kitchen and front office staff were amazing. Both the evening crew and the morning crew were professional and understanding. A place to stay for sure.
The Peppertree in Omak, WA, is the best hotel in town! Love the comfort and quiet atmosphere. The omelet breakfasts are wonderful! Customer service is the best in town at this hotel! The staff are accommodating, friendly, and efficient.
We used to stay at the Omak Inn on our way back from the south, but it was getting run down, so we tried the Peppertree Inn for a change and it was very well worth it. Excellent room, internet service, TV, and a very complete breakfast bar included. No complaints at all!
I recommend the Peppertree Inn at Omak. It was clean and had great amenities. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. Although we didn't go to breakfast, they offer more than just a continental breakfast. It was easy to get to and near other services. I would stay there again when we're staying in the area.
On our four-night journey from our snowbird winter, Omak Best Western provided our best night's sleep. Good bed and bedding, restaurant nearby, HD TV, great breakfast just down the hall, HVAC that was quiet and efficient.
Spent two nights at the Peppertree. Very welcoming in both the ambiance and the staff. They have a complimentary happy hour of free wine, beer and popcorn. "Republic beer" would not win any awards but the price was right. Breakfast was well done. Staff was very pleasant. I would stay here again.
rooms are updated , nice hotel with a great breakfast that had fruit, pancake maker, make your own omelet. Safeway jc penneys, walmart and restaurants right next to it. stayed for a volleyball tournament
This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Great breakfast options...I especially enjoyed the make-your-own omelette bar! We had a little bit of trouble with getting the correct room, but the hotel staff fixed the problem fairly quick.
this hotel has great accommodation clean modern, has a pool if you have children also hot tub and exercise room the location is by several restaurants and a small shopping centre as well wal mart is across the street also churches s=close by who may want to attend and a great breakfast and even a small fridge that you can purchase a microwave meal as well as some beer and wine . the rooms have a small fridge and microwave for your own convience great stay overall overall
This Best Western gets my 5 stars!!! From the checking in process with a very nice Best Western gentleman, to an excellent room with a great bed and awesome pillows, great shower, and then to top it off, it had THE best free breakfast that I have ever had in any hotel - it had very tasty omelets & shoestring hash browns (my favourite)!!!! And not only that - between 5 & 7 p.m. is happy hour, and you get a voucher for 2 free drinks!!! Wow! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Peppertree Inn!
The Best Western PLUS Peppertree Inn at Omak, Washington is a very nice newer property and an excellent value for the price. The room was nicely furnished, quiet, and very clean with fridge and microwave, coffee maker, etc. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in hundreds of similar locales, very clean environment, and fresh ingredients, even included a make it yourself omelette station. I highly recommend!
Everything about my stay was above expectations. The room was clean and not missing any key items. The bed was perfect and I had the best night sleep. It was very quiet in the room. Breakfast was very good and I really enjoyed the omelet. The staff were all very friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer.
I stay here every week and customer service is fantastic. It is extremely comfortable and clean; breakfast is always great! Staff is efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is very quiet; always a wonderful stay! Pool and spa are nice, as well.
Nicely decorated in earth tones with quality furniture. Quality equipment in fitness center although no dumbbells. Small pool but a hot tub. Shower with sliding glass doors, only one of which moves so you have to reach past the cold or hot shower water to adjust temperature; bad design they're starting to change. Breakfast includes a machine to make your own omelette; having seen that before; similar to the waffle makers.
We have stayed here several times, and always find this hotel to be very consistent. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and have provided us with information about the area that has been truthful and helpful. The rooms are fresh, clean and inviting, and the rooms in the new wing are fantastic. We used the pool and the hot tub, and both were good. Also, the laundry room came in handy. The lobby is clean and inviting. Breakfast was very good...much more than just a continental breakfast. We will definitely keep coming back, and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Of the hotels in Omak I would recommend the Peppertree over them all. The grounds are very nice and the hotel is updated and clean. You will find a very nice swimming pool, hot tub and exercise room. We enjoyed the evening reception they offered with beer, wine, pop and light snacks. They have a "little" store so you can purchase candy, beer, wine, food produces. You will find the rooms very well furnished to make your stay very comfortable. We like staying on the upper floor to and to a more enjoyable stay. You will also find the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. You will have a very good breakfast selection in the morning.
I expect clean and quiet, and I got it. I expect friendly and efficient service, and I got even more than I would expect - super nice folks at the desk. I expect a nice bed, and I slept like a log. And I really appreciate a shower that works - got that too. Bonus points - the omelette maker in the breakfast was fun. Oh, and they have a little fridge at the lobby desk with $2.50 beers - perfect!
Comfortable rooms and a good selection of breakfast items at no additional charge. Friendly service and a great staff! Did have a couple of concerns in regard to the "High Speed" internet - in that it wasn't High Speed and was inadvertently logged off periodically.
Ashley was extremely helpful at the front desk. Due to bad weather, we were forced to stop in Omak and, in turn, unable to keep our reservation at the Spokane Airport Peppertree for that night. Ashley spoke to the manager and canceled that reservation without penalty. We were so impressed with the staff and management that we changed our plans the next week and, instead of driving directly to Spokane, stayed overnight in Omak. Thanks very much for the outstanding service!!!
This place had an excellent location next to the Spokane Airport. Despite all the activity and businesses around the hotel, it was really quiet. The room was updated and very comfortable. The staff was friendly.
Nice, quiet, clean room on the 4th floor. Friendly staff. Basic, limited breakfast but it does the trick. If you avoid gluten or have allergies, make sure to bring your own breakfast. There is a microwave and fridge for creating breakfasts and snacks. Housekeeping was gone after 1pm so don't forget to take your sign off the door.
Friendly staff, clean facility, breakfast was good and easy to find. I was on business and the restaurant close to the Best Western had good food and a large table to lay out papers and lap top communitors on to look up information. Parking was available for the people who I did business with.
My only complaint is with housekeeping. It's unfortunate when my entire experience staying here was clouded by poor service, not consistently changing linens or moping the floors and having an item stolen from my room. Front desk staff were always helpful and made aware of the situation. They go above and beyond to listen and respond appropriately. Breakfast is awesome and Rebecca and Peyton work very hard to make it enjoyable for everyone. Suggestions include--offering ham or sausage as a side item, bananas, and granola.
This modern, stylish Best Western outpost greatly exceeds all other accommodations in the Omak area. Additionally, the staff cannot be beat! I travel through the area regularly and no longer even consider other options.
We stayed in a brand new room on the 4th floor. It was clean, well decorated, and quiet. One night was all we stayed, but the layout would have worked for a much longer stay if we needed it. Breakfast was ok, but not nearly as many choices as some of the other Best Westerns have. We'll certainly be staying here again next time we're in town.
Room we stayed in was comfortable and roomy. The bed was comfortable and the décor was fabulous. The Staff were professional friendly and helpful and thought of everything. There was a definite PRIDE in the employees. The room even had paper plates and plastic utensils which I appreciated for in room snack late at night. The breakfast was superior for BW's usually good Breakfast. Good Wi-Fi reception.
Hotel was excellent! Would recommend this Hotel to everyone. Service offered and received was right on! Looking for a comfortable and clean stay - this is it! Will stay on all my next trips. Know the Hotel is fairly new - great place to locate as area is low in accomadations.
Really appreciated being allowed to have our elderly dog stay in our room. Very nice new feel to the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. Close to shopping and places to eat.
Great clean nice place. Down fall is I could not sleep. There was a dog barking every 30nmins thru the nite. I will not stay here again because I could no sleep. It was also nice that they had a lounge that offered evening drinks to guests.
We just spent one night here and it was a check in late and leave kind of late visit. We did have our dog and this place was very dog friendly. I often worry that we will get a gross room because we have a dog and that did not happen here. We were on the ground floor but that was a good thing. The bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was good. The price was great at about $89/night, no extra charge for the dog. But they did ask us to sign that we would not take the dog in the pool or the breakfast room. Easily done for us but I had to laugh about that because you know when they ask you to sign that you won't do something it is because someone has done it, no matter how ridiculous it is.
This newly renovated (with new wing) BW hotel is great; clean, new, spacious, modern, crisp, and with a fresh color scheme. The breakfast room was equally spacious and the free breakfast good. Everything was a little different; happy hour, breakfast burritos, bright decor, all new materials, a very UP feeling. And this will sound silly, but the most remarkable carpet. The staff was well picked: naturally kind, warm, intelligent, helpful people. Everything was clean, clean, clean - which in a traveler's book is gold.
Very quiet and staff very friendly. Room was spacious, and the hotel offered many amenities. Close to restaurant and easy access from highway. Would highly recommend and definitely stay at this location. Price was very reasonable.
We stayed here just one night while looking around the area. We were up on the 4th floor. Our room was very nice and clean. They have a complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets, Also included hashbrowns, waffles, toast, bagels, donuts, fruit, hot/cold cereals etc.
I have stayed here many times for business and the rooms are clean with great hotel staff! The location is not in a busy area so its easy to get into and out of this hotel. Its the best hotel in Omak!
Nice and clean, new, great pool and hot tub, great happy hour! Nice breakfast. Rooms are really nice and roomy. Staff is all very nice and I would definetely stay again. Nice fitness center, pool and sauna.
The hotel was nice and welcoming overall, i would stay there in future visits personal or business. the weight room was nice and clean but having additional equipment would have been nicer. i like the fact that the pool and the hot tub were available 24hrs
This is a nice hotel at a reasonable price. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Good variety of breakfast choices (made to order omelets, hot cereal, decent coffee). I would have liked more options in the fitness room: free weights and bench, stability ball. There were a few cardio machines and a universal-type weight machine.
We liked nearly everything about this BW hotel except for room lighting. It was horrible! Too few lamps and too low wattages made for a dark experience. The hotel itself is very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the location is good. BTW, don't even think about eating anywhere else in Omak except for the Breadline Cafe. The rooms were otherwise just fine with adequate spaces, counter space, and luggage racks. The water was adequately hot and pressure was good. Breakfast was the usual BW hot and cold
Traveling through, excellent choice and probbly the best inthe area. Great staff and the, made before your eyes, breakfast burritos were a real treat. Best hotel to stay before traveling into British columbia. worked great for us as we finished golf and hotel was on the way to more golf just over the border.
Excellent stay. TV channels poor selections remote did not work properly.Do not like paperless checkout receipt. Hallway signage regarding locations way too small. Great location, very clean, excellent breakfast, great staff, rooms clean.
I would have no problem staying at Best Western Peppertree property again. The location is about 2.5km from downtown and is walking distance to Safeway, JC Penny, Wal-Mart and others. The property is clean and the staff very friendly. The amenities are great, breakfast is your basic continental fare. We went for an overnight in Omak (never been) to find some good Mexican food (Rancho Chicos). Locals recommended the Mexican restaurant close to the property because it's quiet and tasty, but we were looking for something a bit more lively and were not disappointed.
