My wife and daughter have gluten and dairy allergies. Kim the breakfast attendant was amazing to work with. She provided all the information on all the products she served so we could make informed decisions on what they could eat. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing that would make it better was if the pool was warmer.

Selected this hotel cause it was closr to my daughter, room was clean, close to many things, pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was good, many options and very attentive staff. Would definately stay again.

Room clean, bed comfortable, some of the bathroom fixtures were broken, continental breakfast was average but good. would stay again. Location had my Garmin going in circles, third time was a charm, good luck. Not much around hotel. Plenty of room in parking lots.

"Good hotel that's difficult to get to once you get off I-80."

Pleasant check in staff (and excellent breakfast attendant) and very affordable hotel. Our room with one queen bed was small, but I peeked in when the maid was doing another room, and saw the two queen bed room was a whole lot larger. Our room was very clean and the mattress was perfect for us. The wash cloths and towels were exceptionally soft and comfy. Our room on the first floor was very quiet. Nice pool and hot tub. (per our title: You can easily see the hotel, but it was a real challenge to find the road to the far right and then go in behind and sort of around to get to the hotel entrance.) The breakfast was very good and standard for Best Western, but featured three meat choices, for example.

"Noisy, Toilet was plugged on arrival, sketchy area..."

Arrived at 10pm, departed at 8am. Should have been an easy stay but the toilet was plugged in arrival, very noisy with dogs barking from room next door. People hanging around the parking lot made me feel uncomfortable about even leaving my car overnight. On a positive note breakfast was good.

Nice and clean. I liked the outside pool, It was nice out there! The inside pool was nice too, the children were having big fun in there!My room was convenient to everything, snacks and drinks,pool. restaurant, front desk and coffee!

This is the best hotel I have found in the Omaha, NE are for the price always clean and convenient. It is very nice to be within walking distance of the bar and grill. My only complaint would be how long the check in took.

Bacon, waffle, yogurt, fruits, and lots of choices in breakfast, guest laundry on site , very nice pool and spa, patio was so nice to use and in fact we had evening spent in nice weather, very caring staff, I was impressed on referral to local foods

Appeared modern and new. Entire hotel smelled musty and damp. It was cool but terribly humid in the room. Sheets were slightly damp from humidity. It was difficult to sleep with heavy musty smell. Also, room was supposed to be two Queens. Clearly beds were doubles and not Queens.

We stay at Best Westerns often, and use Trip Adviser reviews to make hotel decisions and was disappointed with both here. Smallish bed advertised as queen sized. A definite musty aroma to the room. The bathtub seemed dirty, was slow to drain and the exhaust fan did nothing but make noise (room 121). Also, there was a pounding noise until midnight, which started up again briefly, waking us up. It started again around 5 AM. Maybe it was a noisy guest above us which isn't the hotels, or even the guest's fault, but it does highlight the hotel walls thinness. The usual breakfast stuff, but the waffle maker was a bit wonky and they were out of scrambled eggs. When brought to the attention of the staff it still took over five minutes before more was brought out. If in the Omaha area again we will search out someplace else.

"Enjoyed my stay"

I have stayed here a number of times and continue to return because the staff and accomadations are very good. I require a room with a rool in shower and they are always accomadating for this room. The king size bed in the room is very comfortable. I enjoy the good variety of food they have for breakfast. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking to stay in west Omaha.

"Fine for a quick stay "

We were only here for one night for literally just a few hours to rest up, on a family road trip we were on. It was fine. Quiet, clean. No complaints really. You can tell it's an older hotel - not so much by the rooms but more by the hallways and lobby area. Only thing that was negative was the funky smell in the elevator and halls. I had to hold my breath on the way in and out. Other than that, it was overall an ok value for the purpose it served. Fine for a night.

Very pleased, We had the pleasure of spending the night at the Best Western Old Mill Inn recently. The accommodations were very nice, the breakfast has ample choices to pick, the amenities were everything we've come to expect from this chain. However, during our stay the customer service put this place over the top. I will definitely stay here in the future. Very nice clean rooms and bathroom was plus. Even I tipped housekeeper for the great work. Location was very quiet, and accessible to all food choices and shopping malls, JCP, Macys, We will definitely stay here again if in this area.

"Good Value for pet friendly hotel"

I was planning a road trip through Omaha and needed a place to stay. We have a 20ish lb dog and didn't want to subject him to the long car ride overnight. I looked at several hotels in the Omaha area and all of the hotels I found had a $50 pet fee. Seemed steep to pay that much when the hotel was $70 a night. Luckily, the Best Western Old Mill's pet fee was only $15. What a steal. We didn't need to be in the lap of luxury since we were only staying overnight. It was everything we needed. The gentleman who helped us at check in was very nice and friendly, especially considering we checked in at 2am. Breakfast was included and it was ok, but we were just happy to have a hot meal. Room was good enough. And the location was great for us since we wanted to get back on the road after a night of sleep. Happy we stayed here, nothing fancy but suited our needs quite well.

"A little hard to find, but worth it"

Nicely decorated room, bathroom was great. I enjoyed having a fridge. The staff were quick and efficient checking me in. The breakfast was good and had a large room. I stayed in about 10 hotels on my trip and this one had the best breakfast and the attendant was right on top of keeping things clean and stocked up. I was very happy with my room 309 it was quiet.

For the price, this is a great hotel. The staff was more than accommodating and the rooms were clean. The location is a little hidden, but otherwise, it's right by a main road and in a good location!! I'd recommend it.

"Cheap hotel"

I stayed at BW before in other cities but this one is my least favorite. First, the location is somewhat off beat. They share the same parking as the Social Security Office nested in an office park. Second, the hotel is outdated. They have 1 small single elevator that is slow, smelly and noisy. The room's carpet is also old and sticky. I had to place towels on the floors to walk on. Bed sheets and towels do not feel clean. The price I paid for this trip should be a 4-stars hotel but feel more like a 2-stars. I'm coming back to Omaha next week but definitely will not book here. I rather pay more or drive further to have a nicer hotel. A positive note for this hotel is the staff is nice. The check-in was a bit longer, maybe the lady is new.

We had a nice stay here. It was a busy weekend with the College World Series and the staff handled things very well. I realized after I got home that I had left my laptop in my hotel room. I was able to get in touch with Maya one of the managers and she was incredibly helpful. They were able to track down my laptop for me and mail it back. She really saved the day! Thank you again Maya for going above and beyond.

"Great Location, Minor Issues"

I had issues with check in where the staff member questioned whether or not he could even let me stay as I'm not 21 years of age. Even though I'm 20 and the age to reserve a hotel in Nebraska is 19. The overall quality of the hotel and rooms are superb. The other issue was with breakfast, some of the breakfast items were not warm. With that being said the staff apologized. I'm assuming all of these were one off issues, as most Best Westerns I've stayed at are top notch and worth every dollar.

The hotel was ok, but the service for breakfast was exceptional. We were there for three days, and Kim, our hostess was amazing. She was very helpful, friendly, and went out of her way to serve us, always with a smile. She kept the area spic-n-span and fully stocked at all times.

We stayed one night on our way to visit our family in Denver. The hotel staff were excellent, and the room clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast before getting on the road again, in the morning.

"Poor room cleanliness"

Poor room cleanliness and hairs in the beddng. Appliances not working, missing supplies and towels and bath mat in bathroom. Bad odor in rooms. Hot tub was filthy and when I turned it on, the entire hot tub was covered with real dirty layer of foam on top of the water!

"Would not recommend"

Overall terrible experience. Customer service line was helpful, but the staff at the hotel itself was not and did not want to help. There was a mistake for the date of the reservation on our end, so when we went to check in and they told us there were no reservations for that day, we would have to cancel online. Well the Best Western website was down literally all afternoon so there was no way for us to do that. Called the customer service line and was jnitially told that for an advanced booking, you have to cancel a YEAR in advanced. We asked to speak to someone else and at that point, we were told that the front desk attendant should have changed the date of the reservation when we arrived, instead he booked us a whole new reservation. We originally reserved a room with an in-room jacuzzi. The new reservation had an in-room jacuzzi, but there was a note that said the room is rented as a regular king room, and the jacuzzi is inoperable. We needed to contact front desk to be moved. So we went back down there and talked to a different attendant. He said in order to do that, we would have to book a third room. My husband asked if we would just be paying the difference in the increased price as that is the room we originally asked for. All the attendant would say was that since it's a whole new reservation, it's a whole new price. He did call the general manager and she spoke to my husband, and she basically told him since we checked in at noon, and it was already 3:30pm now, since they could no longer lease the room out to anyone else, we would have to pay for both rooms. Even though it could have been fixed on their end when the new reservation was made AT NOON. Then the attendant asked if we were still staying for the next day (which was where we made the error of reserving the wrong date) we told him no and he said

"Can't beat the price"

We arrived in the evening for a one night stay. Our child was having a procedure done at Boys Town Hospital the next morning. It was a short distance from hotel. Our GPS did not do well with finding the hotel. There are a lot of circle roads and it was confusing and the hotel is off to the side and you must enter a parking lot of a strip mall to get to the actual hotel. Check in was easy, MJ was friendly and welcoming. Property was clean. Our room as comfortable-the beds were really comfortable. Kids used the pool, we were up too early for breakfast. It was definitely worth the $60 rate.

Room was cozy, bed very comfy, tub and water pressure were excellent for our lityle one. Will be staying again soon. Pool was cold. Husband enjoied the channel of the tv. Breakfast was very yummy. Staff very friendly.

Hotel was clean on the outside, rooms were big but not properly cleaned. The hot tub was cold. The internet was excellent. The location was good as there were many things around close.I would recommend this best western for a nice trip.

I need convenience and easy access from the interstate. I also need semi truck parking, which it has. I think it is a great value for the price. It is very comfortable and quiet and I sleep well. The staff is very helpful and polite. I stay here every time I drive this route.

My check in was slowed by a phone conversation that the clerk was involved in. The room was very large clean, smelled good. The king sized bed was wonderfully comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I slept better in that room than I have ever slept in a hotel. Getting to the hotel from the highway was not very convenient, however the stay greatly made up for the inconvenience.

Truly !!! 100 % Up to its name- BEST - Outstanding Customer Service from Hotel Staff !!! Nice Hotel to stay, even for an exceptional value, we couldn't have made a better choice than this hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They even called the room to ensure that everything was fine and to asked us if we needed anything more....Easily accessible by car. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good. Pool and whirlpool area clean and orderly. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel met and exceeded my expectations.Truly Best. I would stay here again.

Well we have been Best Western members for several years with over 75 days at Best Eesyern hotels. So when my husband was robbed of his wallet and inky could use his Apple Wallet and had photos of his passport, driver license and social security card, the hotel refused to accept payment with our visa that has both our names in it. Best Western Old Mill refused to accept anything but cash but of course the price was higher. After 12 hours if driving the exhaustion was too much and out the door I went. My hotel room was already booked with my credit card via the Internet and I had a confirmation number. So I chalk this situation up to poor hotel management and hope my 8K followers take note. I ended up going to Hawthorne Wyndham in the area and stayed two nights.

Really well except getting to location was little difficult but once finding the road then okay! A few times hearing people running down the halls late was a little disturbing but the rooms were clean and comfortable! Breakfast was the best I've had compared to even more expensive hotels! The first pet eligible room we were put in had the smoke detector beeping, so the manager moved us. The second pet eligible room had a pet urine smell, masked by a sweet air freshener and the carpet had a wet spot. We found a cheese puff in the bed and the pillows smelled. On the bright side the pet fee was only $15.

Originally this was a get away from home for a couple days christmas gift for my fiance. I chose this as it was one of the only hotels not charging extra $50 for New Years night and as a back up for a pet friendly hotel in case our dogs had to tag along. I really wanted to like this place especially since it had some great reviews and one particular member of staff we met our first morning, but after coming back to the hotel with my suitcase opened and stuff I had left on the counter (which was barely wiped down!) now in said suitcase with some of my things moved around in it, I'm furious. When we checked in, neither of the key cards worked so we went back and was replaced with only one. The sink had some dried grime, the tub had some sort of brown something on the side, the toilet paper roll was almost completely empty, crumbs on the desk, and the towel rack fell off! We came back not only my stuff opened, but nothing was tidied up, some of the clothes were thrown on the bench, they did not replace the conditioner or shampoo, the mat on the desk was still flipped over hanging on the side of the desk (where our 4 year old left it), and I feel like the only thing done was they remade the bed with the same dirty linens that were on originally, and MOST of the trash was thrown out because there were still lays sour cream and onion chips in the trash liner as well as some blood from a used girly item. The elevator also stopped working with us inside, but at least the heater worked and they had hot water. Most of all I am furious about my privacy invaded, no staff should EVER go inside your belongings, that is the true reason I made this review. In fact as we were checking out, nearly every hotel room door was left opened with absolutly no staff around!!!! At least 12 rooms that anyone could have entered and taken something from! The name on the vacuum was Kathy which also belonged to the woman getting coffee as we left, so essentially she left a bunch of rooms unattended on floor 3 while being next to the lobby getting coffee. We will never be back. As far as I'm concerned the only Best Western we will ever stay in again will be the one in Eureka Springs where it is cleaned, tidied, and taken care of properly. I am going to say that the absolute ONLY reason there is a second star is purely because Kim was absolutely wonderful! Very kind, attentive, and a sweet amazing gal! The nicest person we met during our stay in Omaha.

A nice cozy hotel that is slightly out of the way but still easy to access. Rooms are a bit smaller but very comfortable. Good parking area. Well maintained property with an attentive staff. Close to some shopping areas and restaurants.

The room had a strange arrangement, with the sink well away from the bathroom. The room was quite small,but otherwise comfortable. The hottub was very foamy and appeared unsanitary. The person in charge of the breakfast was very nice, but the quality of the breakfast was mediocre, especially the eggs. Wifi was fine.

Went to distress and have time away as a couple. For the price for a Jacuzzi suite you can not beat the price. We left distressed and more in love then ever thanks to this hotel stay. I have to say that as far as motels go this one for the value is terrific and they are tucked away so no major traffic unless you go out of the motel area.

Awful stay. Poor service. The smoke detector in our room was beeping and needed a new battery. We dialed the front desk and said they would take care of it in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we called downstairs and were told they had forgotten about us. This was at mid night. They gave us a new room and had to carry all of stuff to the new room. We only stayed here because they allow pets. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

Shortcomings: This is a hotel that you should steer clear of. It's located in a light industrial park that's filled with empty buildings and shares a parking lot with a Social Security office. The property itself is undistinguished--there are no grounds and little vegetation. The rooms are indifferently maintained and the complimentary breakfast, while not bad, is unvarying and unimaginative. Redeeming factors: Hotel staff and low rack rates.

Maintenance at this hotel is poor. Door closers don't work properly and make for a lot of noise. The hotel clientel was up and in and out through the noisy doors all night long. I got almost no sleep. I watched a guest haul a large bag of trash out of the noisy door at 2:55 AM when I was on my way to complain to the front desk. They said they had guests that were doing laundry all night.

While the hotel itself is right off the highway, and there's not really much to choose from walking distance for late night snacking, the hotel is less than five miles from the set of streets with all the cool bars and clubs, which makes it an easy drive (or uber/taxi ride)

When we arrived at the Best Western we were treated amazingly by Beth. She went out of her way to help us with anything. Upon entering the room we noticed the door to the bathroom was broken and there was a distinct smell in the room. Once we laid down to go to bed, we started to notice bugs on the bed and little pieces of brown stuff. Was very creeped out by the bugs, tired to talk to someone but was not able to reach anyone for the problem being it was almost 4am in the morning. When we arrived at 3am, we also asked for a late checkout and they said that would be no problem, when it came time to check out, this was not honored. Overall disappointed with BW.

I was concerned because the price of this hotel was very reasonable. I was happy to find that this hotel is very clean, had large rooms with comfortable beds and good variety of food for breakfast. The "eggs" that they served for breakfast were not my favorite though. The room had a microwave and small refrigerator, which is always nice when traveling. There was an inside heated pool and an nice size work out room. The location is back off of the road and a little tricky to find the first time. However, because of the location, there was no noise from a nearby highway.

This out of the way hotel is off the beaten path and is exactly why I like it. Less traffic and is easy to travel during rush hours as I am more relaxed using the North bypass. I like being walking distance from a comfortable sports bar. The staff keeps the pool and exercise room clean. The BW breakfast is on par with many others.

This hotel is not easy to find. There really needs to be better signage. It is not normal to have to drive through random parking lits to get to a hotel. The beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. The property looks nice but there are some maintenance issues in the rooms that need to be attended to. My first room had curtains that had been pulled from the ceiling. The room I was moved to had the front of the vanity about to fall off which they did a quick fix on while I was eating breakfast. The quality of breakfast was good.

I was traveling with family and decided on the best western and I'm happy I did. My first room had some plumbing issue and they immediately got me a new room. It took no time at all. I did have a little bit of trouble finding the hotel but once I found it I was very pleased!

My wife and I had the all some opportunity to spend time with our son and daughter -in- law with our grandchildren on a get away trip from Kansas City, Mo. We chose this hotel (BEST WESTERN Old Mill Inn) because it was located to site seeing areas and driving time to Sioux Falls. During our stay this hotel offered free breakfast for our family and grandchildren to enjoy. My wife and I were very impressed with one of your staff named (Kim). During breakfast she was very attentive to ensure all breakfast items featured were fully stocked and areas cleaned. Her personality / hospitality and actions are commendable to ensure every customer were comfortable and relaxed while enjoying the 1st meal of the day. Their are many names of hotels / motels and having a staff member named KIM and others made your hotel one of our best stays. My family will return and recommend others to stay. The hotel is very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The location is not the greatest as it is in a business park and by car dealers, but it is close to the freeway and easy on and off. It was clean and nice.

Friendly Staff, The front desk enrolled me on Best Western Rewards, and I started earning points! What a great hotel! The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, I got early check in at no charge. The room was spacious, quiet and nicely cleaned. I stayed on the 1st floor and enjoyed the stay, bed was very comfortable and cozy. Room was large enough with 2 TVs, desk, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. An indoor pool & Spa was very clean and appealing, exercise room with all new equipments, I loved elliptical. Very clean appearance. Breakfast had many tasteful options and the staff maintained the food stations topped all the time. I loved raisin and cherries in cereals. Wifi was superfast and free, I used guest computer for printing boarding pass. I would highly recommend staying at Best Western hotels.

The hotel has a very nice appearance, seems to be newly updated. Main concern is getting to the location based on the highways and freeway. Was more difficult than I would've expected it to be. Not the hotels fault.

This hotel was very difficult for me to find in the dark. For some reason Maps sent me to a different hotel. When I called the hotel for directions, the clerk on duty kept talking east, west, etc. I could not grasp where he was telling me to go. Once I found it though, the suite I had was very nice for the price I paid.

When we entered our room the beds had been made and the bathroom was clean but as we started to settle in we noticed the room hadn't been vacuumed. The mirror and the tv both had film across them where they had been wiped off but with a dirty cloth. The last straw was the pillowcases that had black stains on them and crumbs on the desk. Someone obviously tried to clean the room but didn't do a great job. The hotel was very gracious about refunding our stay. We left and went stayed at Rainbow house since we were in town for appointments at Children's hospital.

Great hotel - but tough to find - make sure your gps is undated to get you there without going insane. The room was a king suite...but the bed was not made and there were no towels in the bathroom. Fortunately, the staff quickly moved us to another room that was spotless. Incredible value for a room that nice. The local pub, Cunningham's is a fun place, good food, sports theme pub.

If we ever get the chance to pass through Omaha again, we are DEFINITELY STAYING at the Oak Mill BW!! I admit I was a little hesitant about booking online from reading all the bad reviews, but the price was right. 2 queen soft and VERY comfortable beds, a large and spacious BEAUTIFUL room, hot tub and pool (which is open from 7am - 10pm) all for $85 dollars! There is a free breakfast with waffles, eggs, and sausages, but my family are late sleepers and it ends at 9. Oh well, more time for swimming!! If I was being really nit picky I could say that the tiny tiles inside the pool need a little scrub, but upon further review, it looked like they were just faded from the chlorine. Awesome place to stay after a long night of driving!!

It was comfortable, however check in was busy . It was a clean hotel, however was a pretty busy area and hated this loop to get there, but finally figured it out. Its a nice place to stay, close to lots of activities.

First of all I have to say it took us 45 minutes to check in, so I will not go into that. The room was not really up to standard. It was outdated especially for the Old Mill area. We were not able to use the pool that night because it was full and the outside patio area was full also. I expected it to be a bit nicer. We loaded our car and went to check out and in just that time our car was vandalized right there in the parking lot . Someone broke out our back window of our Tahoe and took every bit of our luggage. After we let them know at the front desk we were told that this was not the first time this happened. The management did nothing to help us out!! Not even help us close up the back window so we could drive back to Lincoln without a open back window. After viewing the hotel camera footage we were able to see the person vandalizing our vehicle as my daughters were approaching it. My girls could have been bodily hurt. The hotel was or is NOT a safe place!!! We did have a deductible for the broken window thank goodness but were expected to pay another homeowners deductible for all that was stolen. We asked Best Western if they could help us out in any way with this and after about 2 months of working with them they said NO. They say they are not liable for this but I still believe may daughters were in harms way and that their parking lot was not a safe place and if they cared about their customers they could have helped!!! DO NOT stay at this hotel if you value your things and expect help from the managers from this company. They value their $$$ more than the safety of their customers.

We booked this hotel for our 10 year anniversary. We booked the jacuzzi suite which I was disappointed in. The pull out couch had tons of stains on it, carpet was stained, and the shower head looked like it had been pulled out of the wall at one time and then patched poorly. Besides the room the staff was great and breakfast was good.

We stayed here 2 years ago during remodel. It was nice but not great. NOW IT IS WONDERFUL. Clean and very warming when we arrived. A little off the beaten path but gas is good at Costco which is near by.

The owners and staff at this location truly cared about their guests and were very friendly. They took great care of me and my dad during our 3 week stay and did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable and at home. The location of the hotel is very close to downtown Omaha and is surrounded by different eateries. Our room felt like home and the room service staff did a great job! The breakfast room was always super clean and had great options. The fitness room was equipped with enough to get a full workout in and was also kept very clean. Overall, the hotel was very clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and I was left very impressed by this Best Western.

This facility had the best staff and took great of me during my 3 week stay. The breakfast was excellent, the pool was clean and relaxing, the fitness center had everything I needed to get a full workout, and my room felt like home. Love this little tucked away gem. We always get the king suit due to two teenagers so we can fit a blow up bed. Rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. Staff is very friendly and work to accommodate your needs. Pool and hot tub are very nice. The breakfast has several typical breakfast items from bisquets and gravy to oatmeal to choose from. This is not a 5 star hotel but is clean and perfect for our family. It was our second stay and will be back again.

Overall, nice hotel. Needs some minor housekeeping; hairdryers, peeling towel bars, need to use mattress pads on the beds, etc, but otherwise clean and super helpful staff. A little bit tricky to navigate to but it is quiet and has a couple restaurant close to walk to.

"Reasonably nice hotel with some issues"

This is an older hotel that looks like it has been recently refreshed and renovated in places. The furniture was all new, the bathroom has been scrubbed down, and a coat of paint placed on the walls. Our room was smallish, with a sink in the main room and the toilet and shower in a bathroom. Unusual but not bad. The walls of the room are thick enough that even though the room was right next to the elevator we couldn't hear the elevator at all. The bed wasn't bad, however there was a recent grease stain on the sheets, like someone with some sort of machine oil touched the clean sheet. It was easily covered with a pillow, so no issues. The fixtures were okay, however one of the towel bars was not kept falling down. It was not well installed. The hotel breakfast was a typical breakfast in these sorts of hotels. A serving dish of fried egg patties, a serving dish of sausages, a serving dish of biscuits and gravy, random fruit, pastries and yogurt, and a waffle maker. It was adequate, but unless you're in a hurry have breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is a little hard to get to unless you know that the street passes through a outdoor mall off a main road. There was a major issue that could have been catastrophic but wasn't. One of the staff of the hotel left the door guard set to intentionally keep the door unlocked and partially opened. (I admit that I assume it was one of the hotel staff. It is that or the hotel gave a guest a key to the wrong room.) I don't know how long it was set like this, but we left in the early morning and came back to the room late at night. Fortunately nothing was missing from the room. I wrote an email to the hotel manager but heard nothing in response. This could have been a catastrophe and definitely is a concern. For the price, the hotel is only okay. I was expecting better.

Very nice and accomadating staff. Breakfast was the same everyday but always well stocked even ten minutes before the serving time posted. Nice relaxing hot tub and nice pool size for our use. Easy to find and get to off of interstate. It does share the parking lot with a state business but no issue parking. We stayed in a suite over the pool area...very roomy!

I picked this hotel to base my stay in Omaha. When I got a bad cold, it turned into a great place to just tuck-in and feel better. Great coffee all day in the lobby. Wonderful location to get on the highways and Interstates - and trip back to the airport was nice comfortable 30 minutes. Area is quiet, staff very helpful.

We stayed two nights. This hotel is just off the interstate and easy to find. Desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean. Food items served were tasty. Pool and hot tub were just right. We slept well!

"Rude staff, poor maintenance."

In over 40 years of travel, these were the rudest people I have ever met. The blond millennial at the desk was beyond polite description. Avoid this quagmire. Especially for an event. At a wedding reception in one of the basement conference rooms, the head table was set up with wrinkled table skirts. Horrible looking- like crinkled paper. After repeated requests with a clock ticking down, finally a man showed up and said "they come that way". We had to ask for irons and ironing tables and WE HAD TO IRON THE TABLE SKIRTS OURSELVES! There was no water available, and we had to carry in two dozen gallon jugs of water. There was no sound or PA system. The windows were full of spiders and had torn screens. Thank goodness there were shutters to close. Compounding problems: parking and a difficult to find location. You have to drive through a pub parking lot! The motel parking lot was being re-concreted in spots, taking up desperately needed spots.

Comfortable hotel. I arrived early in the afternoon but could not check in until 3 PM which was very inconvenient as I have driven eight hours from South Dakota. 3 o'clock is the normal check in time I was very tired but I have to wait two hours because I had arrived p.m. The front desk was eventually very accommodating and I managed to check in just before 3 PM. It was also difficult place to find out sorry had to drive through a small shopping plaza as there was no direct access from public roadway

We booked a room with 2 double beds. Unfortunately I chose the wrong one! I am not sure if the bedding hadn't been used and changed in a while or what but my husband did not have the same problem. I woke up in the middle of the night itching. I left in the morning with at least a dozen ugly spider bites. These are not bed bug bites. They are not in a line and are random around my body...but large, very red and itchy. I will not stay in a Best Western again. Horrific experience. We have been on the road for 41 days and this was our worst experience.

This is a very well kept and well managed hotel. Everything was clean, and that is a big plus. The building was well maintained. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was fair. I would certainly recommend this to friends or family. I enjoyed my stay, and certainly would like to return when traveling to Omaha again. The only slight drawback is that there is a convoluted series of roads to get in and out of this hotel, but if you just watch the signs carefully you can do it no problem.

My husband and I went to the Omaha Zoo and stayed at the Old Mill Inn before traveling on to Colorado. The Inn is a little older, but very well maintained. We had a hot tub suite and loved it! Everything was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was very nicely done. Well laid-out and it seemed like there were a lot of people there, but everyone had a table. We would definitely return to the Old Mill Inn again.

We recently returned from staying 7 nights in this little hotel. From check in to check out we truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable, beautiful, and spacious. Sleep quality was amazing. Housekeeping did an awesome job each day. The breakfast staff was compassionate and professional. The food selection plentiful and a good variety of items to choose from. We never left hungry. The hotel indoor pool and hot tub were clean and the area was well kept and safe. We enjoyed relaxing here most nights. The front desk staff are very friendly. They greeted us each time we went by and asked how our day went when we returned. We felt very welcome. Management also took good care of the guests. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It is a nice little place for any occasion. Whether your stay is overnight or extended, you'll enjoy every minute here. We look forward to our next trip to Omaha. Of course we'll return to Best Western Old Mill Inn - our "home away form home".

good hotel for the $$. we were only staying one night so we didnt need anything super fancy. the hotel was easy to find and near a lot of things like food and shops if you need them. the front desk staff was nice. the room was average. bathroom was really small and the sink had 0 counter space but it worked for us for one night. bed was great and temp of room was good. thin walls so you can hear kids running around and stuff but it wasnt terrible.

Our stay at the BW Old Mill Inn in Omaha was enjoyable. We were meeting family for dinner that evening and the front desk clerks helped us find the restaurant by going on-line for the address and even printed out a Google map for us. We had no trouble finding the restaurant. The motel was reached by driving through a parking lot for other businesses which was somewhat confusing. We would go there again if in the area. We had enough rewards points in our account, so the room was FREE!!

There was a party downstairs that was soo loud, tge music was shaking the walls and floors way too late into the night. We complained to the front desk multiple times and nothing was done. This continued well after 1am. We got practically no sleep...horrible night and we will never go back!

Came from Chicago for a concert here in Omaha and did not really know what kind of experience we would have here at this hotel. But we certainly were surprised. It was awesome! Nice clean hotel. Staff extremely nice and helpful with directions and food options, Would stay here again anytime!

Meets expectations for a Best Western. Plenty of selections for breakfast. Room was clean. The hallways and stairwells had a bit musty smell. Not easy off-n-on from the freeway; my navigation system told me I was about to enter a restricted road, but no such thing. Bottom line: good place to stay and what you'd expect.

This was by far the very best hotel in the Best Western Group that I have stayed in. All staff, and I do mean ALL, were very gracious and accommodating. Their Handicap Room was truly a Handicap room and was very spacious and comfortable. I was offered an express check out which was a first on this trip. Their breakfast was extensive, and even offered fruit toppings for their waffles, I would stay again if traveling this route.

Very satisfied and the hospitality was awesome. Hopefully in the future went visiting Omaha BW will be my first option. Just we had little bit of issue, which might not not be from the BW inn. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and satisfactory. Breakfast was good and they had hot items each morning. We were late one day and the staff was kind enough to leave it open until we finished. The hotel was centrally located to downtown, shopping, ball parks, etc.

Once you find the Old Mill Inn, it is a very pleasant place. We didn't find time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Everyone is very friendly in Omaha. We had a great stay for our trip to the NCAA College World Series. We would stay here again.

2nd and last stay here. Pool and hot tub were very dirty with a lot of dirt on the bottom that stirred up when used. First stay here also marred by non working hot tub and pool. Hallways and lobby dirty and floors very sticky. Breakfast room floors not clean and sticky all over

A good hotel. A bit hard to locate in the parking lot of a office park. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the building looked well maintained, clean and cared for. The pool and hot tub were quite nice. Breakfast was decent and well maintained.

Many hotels we have stayed at this past month are old buildings. BW is upgrading their older ones we stayed at and that is good. Being retired I'm afraid that many motels are going to price us out leaving us at the older, less pleasant places.The Old Mill BW was good. Only wish the bed wasn't quite so much like a hammock but otherwise a good option. didn't get a chance to use the pool or exercise room but they looked good. Like any place when there is an event like College World Series all motels jack their prices.

My family and I had a good experience, we were there with our sons baseball tournament from Ca. The rooms and service were equally nice, we felt the hotel could have offered more breakfast offerings. They were expensive for the size of the room we felt as well.

I checked in and found that my service was excellent the girl that help me was helping three or four people at the same time because of the College World Series here in Omaha Nebraska. She went out of her way to do everything she can or could to make us happy and she did we all got rooms we got in fast and everybody was happy for service was excellent and her name is Henna. She is also very knowledgeable the area intelligent and has a great personality you have a great customer service representative at your front desk way to go girl

I slept nicely! The room seemed to be clean...besides stuff being found in between the bed and night stand. The bathroom vent needed to be cleaned. The hot tub needs to be cleaned. It had a weird yellow tint and it smelled. The breakfast was tasty! There was a nice walking path behind the hotel that we enjoyed!

This is the second time that I have stayed here and really like the new look of the place. It is no longer a "theme hotel" as it was before. The only complaint is location. To drive into could be confusing. But the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet for as many people that were there that weekend. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to someone.

A quiet, clean and very well run hotel with a superb breakfast. Very convenient to all highways although located in a very peaceful part of Omaha. I stayed here years ago. At that time it was an average facility - dull and lifeless. Now, it is a modern hotel with a lovely air about it. Totally recommended.

We have now stayed at two different BWs since March 2017, they have apparently stepped up their game as this particular BW was simply impressive. From the outside this BW is very appealing and inviting to the eyes. Inside you can tell that the building was recently built or remodeled. Breakfast wasn't anything spectacular but it was certainly functional and filling. The help was friendly and did s great job of keeping everything full and ready. The staff, everyone, was super friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. Another bonus was discovering that the facility not only had a pool but a jacuzzi as well. We made full use of it.

Very poorly managed hotel. The reservations were not handled properly. When pointed out manager she called employee in and belittled her for several minutes in front of us before moving on and checking us in. Problems in room. The property looks good but it is obvious that better ownership and management is badly needed.

My hubby and I found this place June 2015 on our way home to Colorado. The room was nice and clean, the pool was great and you couldn't ask for a nicer staff! In April 2017, I needed to get away for 10 days or so to decompress and this was the place I wanted to go! (It's off the beaten path and the nearby casino also helped with my decision!) It was well worth the drive! I had a King Exec. Suite. The first one had a problem with one of the TVs that they couldn't fix, so they moved me next door to another suite. They moved out the bed so they could move the phone to the sitting area. Anything I asked for, they did without batting an eye. Henna and Krish could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. Henna, Krish, Matthew and all of the other staff, whose names I forgot to write down, were great! They also helped to accommodate me whenever I wanted to use the pool and there was a large number of kids using it. Anytime we're passing through Omaha, this is the place for us! Thank you again for everything Henna, Krish, Matthew and everyone else at the Best Western Old Mill Inn!!!! :-)

On a busy Berkshire weekend, this hotel was a reasonable price. While several miles from downtown, it was an very easy drive. The hotel is in a busy area but was very quiet. The breakfast area was very clean, well staffed and well stocked

Staff was friendly and worked hard to make our stay a pleasure. Breakfast options adequate to make this stay a good value. We had a very nice room and the location was convenient for our travel route. Our room was well maintained. I left may shave kit behind, however that was not a problem as the concierge provided everything I needed so I did not have to travel to a store. I have stayed at this location several times and the service is consistently pleasant.

Unfortunately I had to go to Omaha on the weekend of some warren buffet convention. Investors were in town and all of the hotels were price gauging. Hotel prices were double. Don't know why the attorney general doesn't do something about that. Anyway the hotel was clean and staff pleasant. I have stayed here before with no problems. Recently remodeled. They did price match a lower price of another motel which was nice.

Best Western Old Mill Inn is a tad difficult to find, but it's worth the search. The rates are excellent. Don't let the tired lobby mislead you--the rooms are large and comfortable. My room included a standard bathroom and a separate jacuzzi bath--a nice touch. Yummy breakfast is included in the cost, which was just under $100 for a king size bed.

Quick weekend trip for the family. Although the location was right off of the interstate, it was difficult to find the exit to get directly to the hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Guided us to a great restaurant for dinner. About 20 minutes to family-friendly activities such as the Zoo and Museum.

Traveling on business,this place is quite, modern and reasonable. The tv is a little fuzzy and hard to see at times but the hospitality by far makes up for that. The breakfast in the morning is what you would expect from a high end hotel. Im happy and plan to stop again

The room was very clean, the decor pleasant. It was also quite spacious. It's always nice to have a microwave and frig in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Getting to the hotel was a bit weird, but I think we can blame Omaha for that.

We really enjoyed our stay at Best Western. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in the room with the whirlpool tub in it and we really enjoyed that. Overall my husband and I were really impressed with how nice it was there.

Room and bedding was gross. Changed room and just as bad. Had to make my own bed with barely clean linens. Did not offer to make any kind of adjustment and blow dryer started to smoke. Complete mess and did not care.

Great staff and very clean. Little hard to get too but worth the hunt. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast. And the housekeeping crew were extremely friendly. Our two year old grandson said HI to everyone and they all friendly.

Some pros and cons to this hotel. Rate was really good and accommodation were decently maintained and clean. Pool area was nice and updated. Kids loved the pool, probably one of the warmest we've been in. Breakfast was standard fair and fitness room was nice. Parking lot was well lit and large. Plenty of people staying mid-week. The second day the pool was closed for maintenance and was to reopen the next day. We ended up checking out at noon the third day so not sure if it was opened later or not. Bathrooms were a little on the small side but the biggest issue was the shower curtain was too short once pulled around curved rod and water got all over floor if not careful. Also we had three people per room and each room got exactly three towels. Hotel is kind of hard to get to if after dark and you do have to go thru parking lot of a strip mall to get there. Area was decent but also located by SSA building and we encountered an individual asking for money. Staff tracked us down to make sure we were ok and offered to call police if we felt warranted. Apparently not first time something like this has happened. Staff was overall helpful. First individual did not get reservations close to correct but I called back on another matter and discovered error. Rosa was very helpful and gave me personal number for any issues. Still had a bit of confusion checking in but they just fixed it. They were also accommodating with a late checkout on a day which we ended up cutting our reservations short. Also found a phone charger for a family member who was needing one. Overall it was a budget motel with a few nice extras. My biggest issue was probably the area and odd location of the hotel. Probably won't be first choice to stay at due to that.

This is a very nice hotel and will definitely stay here again. The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows were great, the shower was wonderful, everything was clean and comfortable with lots of variety at breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This Best Western is very clean and quiet. I loved the service at the front counter and the maids were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good but the coffee was weak but was corrected after notifying them. I will definitely stay at this Best Western in the future.

We stayed at this hotel on our recent motorcycle trip, the hotel was very clean, our room wad spacious and had a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was excellent. About the only thing we didn't like was it was difgicvult to find, as it wad tucked in behind a strip mall.

Looks and feels like an upgraded Motel 6 without the roaches. Small dinghy rooms, difficult for handicapped to move around.broken shower head, refrigerator and microwave hidden in clothing cabinet. Over priced for such shabby quarters. This was supposed to be a handicapped room. Not to ADA standards.

Our stay in Nebraska was unexpected and the reservation was made last minute. That did not matter - we were met with exceptionally friendly courtesy upon checking in (and out) and the room did not disappoint. Everything was clean, fresh, comfortable and working properly. We loved all the extra amenities such as the fridge in the room and even though we did not use the microwave, it was nice to have just in case. The shower was great and breakfast delicious! We would not hesitate to stay here again!

This is a very clean and newly renovated with nice rooms, very comfortable beds and it is located close to the highway. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but I didn't get a chance to use it. Separate room for breakfast also looked nice, though didn't eat there. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We came in late and could see the hotel but the roads were so confusing to get there even with the iPad in hand. Lots of renavigating. The hotel is right under a large noisy power line too. Our tv didn't work and there was black mold between and under the shower surround panels. They were going to address and clean it at our departure. The remodel job looks okay but they are currently working on the roof. The carpet fibers washed of my feet in the shower and left me feeling ichy about how clean the room was. The beds were comfortable.

Stayed here the night before an interview. It was easy to get to, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was very clean and the fitness area was great. I was a bit disappointed with breakfast, but not a big deal. Overall, I would recommend this motel, and it was a great price!

We were in Omaha for the USATriathlon National Championships and had a fairly pleasant experience. The room was clean, and the staff was fairly friendly and helpful. The fitness center was above my expectations. The cardio and strength training equipment were club quality. The pool/hot tub area was clean and well kept. If you put some trash out in the hall for collection, it was gone in a few hours or less. The only negative to the room was the size of the bathroom, as it was smallish and only had the tub and toilet. The sink was outside the bathroom, next to the closet near the entry way, The facility was quiet, and we heard nothing from the adjoining rooms. It is set in a quiet professional park with a few bars/restaurants within walking distance. Speaking of food, the breakfast was more than ample with juices, coffee,tea, milk, three types of cereal, bread, waffles, sausage and biscuits, as well as all the napkins and utensils, that one would need. The breakfast area had ample seating, and was continually cleaned by the staff.

I know they have been working on the hotel but the hallways smelled stinky! Our rooms tiles were uneven, and the air conditioner in the room proceeded to make this noise when it was shutting off like the scream on PBS mystery starting. It woke us up everytime it went on and off. Price was good tho, but we won't stay there again.

"The worst customer service experience"

Last weekend my husband and I went to Omaha for a visit. We booked a room in the Best Western Old Mill hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice and friendly, albeit a little disheveled, male receptionist. He was pleasant and welcoming, explained everything we needed to know. Our room was nice and clean and overall we had a good first impression. Next day we left hotel early and spent half a day on our feet. We got back to the hotel around 2:15 pm to rest. At about 2:25 a small dog started barking in the room next to ours. After 5 minutes I called downstairs to let them know this was disturbing to us. The phone rang for a long time and nobody picked up. I was going downstairs to talk to the front desk receptionist, but I saw a person who claimed to be a manager on our floor. I explained to her that we were trying to take a nap and the barking dog was disturbing out rest. She said that the person from this room is downstairs checking in. I thought it was a lie because why would the dog be in the room while the person is checking in? About 10 more minutes later the dog was still barking and nobody returned to the room. My husband called downstairs to notify them the disturbance still was taking place. The manager said she was going to talk to the person who stayed in that room. The dog was still going at it at 2:55. My husband went downstairs to complain for the third time. The manager apologized, said that she spoke to the owner of the dog, and there is nothing else she can do. Her exact words were: “There is nothing else I can do”. The way I see it, they could have offered us a different room, a refund, a voucher for a future stay, but she chose to do nothing. What a lousy and careless attitude! I was totally baffled how little they cared about situation and our inconvenience. Originally we were going to stay two nights, but having a barking dog next door wasn't a pleasant perspective for the night's rest. Since there was “nothing” they could do, we left the hotel. They refunded the money for the second night, but not for the first night we stayed. I went on their website later, and on the very front it clearly stated that they have no pet policy. This has got me very aggravated. I know that things like this happen – it's part of life. But when a manager is clearly lying, breaking rules and has absolutely no interest in resolving the situation, it is extremely upsetting and frustrating. Do yourself a favor: don't stay there.

We stayed here during the College World Series. The first room we walked into smelled heavily of smoke. I don't know if someone had smoked in there earlier or if the person in the room before just brought the smell with them. Either way there was no way we would be comfortable in the room. The front desk guy came up and asked if we wanted to move to a much smaller room or have him just spray air freshener. Needless to say, we opted for the smaller room because air freshener would have just made it worse. So we ened up in a tiny corner room that wasn't too bad. The beds weren't very comforatble, but they weren't horrible. The shower was interesting to say the least. The water pressure was low, the room small, but the worst was the shower. Any time you moved the shower floor made this noise like you were either breaking something or you were going to go through the floor. Breakfast was normal breakfast. It did run out of some stuff a couple of times and the area is smallish. It did what it needed to do, so I can't complain there. It was a decent price for both the College World Series and the US Olympic Swim Trials being in town. Given the choice, I would choose a different hotel next time.

This property was remodeled just a couple of years ago and is not on a major highway but is on a walking trail that goes throughout the city. Paul was great in reception, adding a roll-away and pet after we arrived. Has meeting rooms and breakfast.

"Room REEKED of Cigarettes!"

Nice hotel, attentive staff, comfy-enough bed, well-furnished room. But NON-SMOKING Room 328 stinks of cigarettes!! We were in town one night, so decided to stick it out. Next morning, 8 a.m., cigarette smoking started. If it was a guest, not much can be done, I realize. But billing yourself as a "100% No Smoking" hotel, what a shame. We told the manager about it as we were leaving this morning, and he said, "I'll take care of it." Too late for us, and we cannot chance it in the future. For that reason we will not be back.

Quiet and Close to Food Options I live in Omaha but stayed at this hotel with my visiting family member . The complimentary breakfast includes a wide variety of hot and cold items. I was there for a night. They provide a Grab N Go bagged breakfast to go if you can't take the time to sit in the dining room and eat. WiFi is complimentary and the fitness center is clean and comfortable with water and towels provided. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It was very close to the places we were visiting, I will stay again here, had friendly staff and courteous service, quiet location, and very close to all food choices tempted me to stay here.

This was to be the weekend of my wife and I mini honeymoon. Overall the Hotel was very nice and clean. Individuals left at different times, apple core(s) and other food items in the elevator, of which the staff did clean the food items up at some point. Also in the Hotel room was a hot tub. The hot tubs in the rooms are very slick and there is not a bath mat (rug) inside the tub for a person/couple to sit comfortably without sliding. My wife and I noticed this and bought our own bath mat to place inside the hot tub. We did think that 18% sales tax was kind of expensive for this type of room. The room itself was just over $400.00 for two people for two nights, but once the tax was added, it made the price almost $500.00. Other than those few things this Hotel is worth the price.

The breakfast was a joke, something you can get out of your on frig at home. Yogurt, toast , and waffles. Floors and walls are very thin so noise in other rooms is a major issue. We reported issues to the front desk but they did not respond. Elevator can only fit 2 people with luggage

Cozy beds, ample choices breakfast, quiet place, patio deck to have evening moments, Free and safe parking, newly landscaped, business center for printing some of my emails, I had the best breakfast choices in my most recent stays in hotels in few months, oatmeal, eggs, sausage patties, fruits, and yogurt, spiced tea was my favorite.

Due to two streets having the same name, and one having no signage, this is hard to find. Call, and they will give you directions. Convenient to the interstate but quiet. Room was clean, plenty of hot water, good pressure. Place to sit outside and have a cigar if you do that sort of thing. A good value forthe dollar

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and pleasant and helped us find a wonderful place to have dinner when we arrived. Breakfast the next morning offered a variety of options that should satisfy anyone. The room was so comfortable and set the stage for a relaxing stay. a great place to stay.

"Quiet Friendly Place to Spend a night in town"

Very attractive building at night, shining exterior lights were gorgeous, very safe parking lot, landscaping is very attractive, lobby was very spacious to spend some evening time with friends, pool is nicely located in a corner of building to have some privacy, Jacuzzi in pool area was really relaxing, trail behind hotel is nice for a beautiful weather walk, very friendly people around in area, very safe location with so many dining options.

"Horrible experience"

Out of 70+ reviews, I only have a handful of single stars. This was a horrible experience! On our first morning, we were walked in on by a man saying "housekeeping" with no cart in sight. I HAD THE "QUIET PLEASE" SIGN IN THE KEY CARD SLOT! IT HAD TO BE REMOVED FOR ENTRY Thank goodness we had the interior lock attached! When I told the desk, he just asked if I would like him to leave a note for us to be left alone. YES! If we have the "quiet please" sign out, do not disturb. The next morning,I had requested late check out (a benefit of our status with the chain). Before we were even close to the late check out time, a very rude woman called to ask if we would be checking out that day. We hurriedly got our things together and left. I have never been treated this way at this chain before. We have only had 1 other bad experience at a BW in Kentucky. At least that manager called me to assess and rectify the situation. We have stayed with this chain over 20 nights so far this year. I wouldn't want to lose that business. Beware if you want to stay private and be treated with decency. This is not your hotel. Feel free to check the reviews I have given the hotels (including this chain). I am fair! This was horrid.

Very friendly staff, I checked in late, front desk had kept my keys ready and just took my signature and verified ID and in a minute I was to my room, I called several times for some information, he provided happily even at late night, requested shaving gel and razor and was at my door in just few minutes, happily and with smiles, my bathroom was sparkling clean, very cozy mattress, went to bed till got my wake up, had breakfast, I love coconut to add in my oatmeal, very nice caring staff, I will stay at this hotel, next time in town

"Horrible! Bedbugs!"

My 7 year old daughter and I had a girls weekend in Omaha. We stayed at the Bear Western Old Mill. Everything was great until we returned to the hotel (room 208) on our second evening after a busy day of sight seeing. I had left a cup on the desk with a little bit of water in the bottom. There was a bedbug in it! As my daughter was freaking out and crying I called the front desk. The desk attendant was not helpful at all. I told him what I had found and he said he would note it on my reservation. I told him I needed to speak with management and move rooms immediately. He said "unfortunately we are booked so I can't give you another room, but I'll not it on your reservation." I told him that was not acceptable I needed something done now and needed to speak to management now. He said management was gone but he would leave them a message to call me. He said all of this like I was being an inconvenience for him and wasn't concerned with helping me at all. Luckily I booked the room through Hotwire because management never called me. I called Hotwire customer service and after 30 minutes back and forth between Hotwire and the hotel, the hotel agreed to refund 1 night. We got out of there ASAP, and will never return. They did give me trash bags to put our stuff in so yeah. . . Thanks for that I guess. Now on the last day that was supposed to be my daughter and my girls weekend I'm stuck spending $30 at the laundromat, a ruined stuffed animal that she's had for years (I had to wash it on high heat), and an exhausted 7 year old who cried off and on all the night before. Our fun weekend we had planned will now be remembered as the bedbug trip. And for what it's worth I am 200% sure it was a bedbug. The picture is attached to this post. And you can bet I will be reporting my experience to the BBB and health department. Now I'm left cleaning up after the bedbugs that may have hitched a ride with us and trying to convince my daughter that we can stay in a hotel in the future because not all hotels have bedbugs, we just got unlucky with Best Western Old Mill. And hopefully I can get her to sleep tonight without her feeling like bugs are crawling on her.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough and detailed review regarding your most recent stay at our hotel. I am very sorry for the disturbance that pest alert caused. Orkin Pest Control has inspected the room thoroughly and could not find any evidence of bedbugs or any other pest. They have treated with heat treatment to 130 degree for 24 hours to make sure any possible bug would die. We got certified from Orkin Pest Control who has pest control contract at hotel and assure bug free hotel to our guests. I assure you that each issue mentioned is being investigated and addressed and we appreciate you for taking the time to point out the areas where we can improve upon the guest experience. Please be informed that Hotwire gave you a 1 night refund. We hope that you will return and be impressed by the improvements we have made.

Was greeted every time we came in and out made sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. The breakwater bat was very good and Kim the women that took care of the breakfast was excellent. Room were clean and had everything we needed also had extra coffee microwave in the room and fridge. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

"Very nice hotel"

The hotel was difficult to find because they have three different addresses for the location. My phone's GPS just couldn't find it. Very frustrating and the main reason I didn't give them 5 Stars. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, and the room was great! There were three of us ladies who went to the Old Market for a day and then the Omaha Zoo the next day. We wanted a little extra room without paying an arm and a leg and luckily, they had a room with a king bed in one room and a sofa sleeper in another room. Each room had it's own TV, we had a "middle area" that had a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. On the other side of the area was a large bathroom. We all felt like we had the space we needed and it was great! I would recommend this hotel.

once we found hotel, everything was great - helpful staff, very good hotel but staff helped us locate hotel - need GSP to find it - but room was very nice - we asked for top floor and quiet area and got it - nice pool and fitness center, wifi worked fine -good breakfast -

Spent 4 nights at Old Mill while attending graduations nearby. Excellent location although hard to get to. Comfortable room and great staff with nice hot breakfast. Only complaint was hot tub out of order for entire stay of 4 nights

We stopped here on a one night stay during a road trip. Arrived about 7 p.m. The person who checked us in was not very friendly, not necessarily rude, but not the friendly demeanor you would expect of a front desk check in, kind of made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him. . However, check out staff and maids were pleasant. The outside of the property is undergoing some sort of construction but it did not inconvenience us. Rooms were clean and average in size. Included fridge and microwave. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was typical continental with eggs, bacon, and other cold items, pretty good. For a quick overnight stay we were pleased with the hotel.

"overpriced and lack of quality"

We got the proverbial 'broom closet'. Very tiny room. Sink in the room (opposite the bed). Bathroom without sink. How logical is that? There was a lot of noise from the ice crusher down the hall and from other guests and staff in the lobby. Soundproofing rooms is not invented here (yet). The room could have been cleaned a bit better: opened shampoo bottle in the bathroom, foot prints on the bathroom floor. The state of the tiny room could also have been better: cigarette hole in the curtain, partly broken of plastic lamp shade above the sink. All small things (like the room), but taken together and considering that we paid USD 196,75 for this room (because it was on the day that Berkshire held its annual meeting and this hotel charges double for those days apparently), it gets a poor rating. There are plus points too: the staff at checkout was very friendly. The breakfast was fine in a very nicely decorated breakfast room. The contrast with our room could not have been greater though.

We have stayed at this property three times. The owners keep upgrading its appearance and facilities. They really try to give good service and it shows. The only problem with this property is trying to get to it. It is behind the Social Security Building and some bars and restaurants. Get off the Old Mill Road exit and turn into the mall. Go around behind the mall to the northwest.

"Hard to find"

Extremely difficult location to find, and to get back on main arterial road. Would be impossible after dark. Suite was very roomy for the price. The bathroom and kitchenette area were not clean. Creaky, flexible shower floor - no support under it? Stains on towels. Very average breakfast. No fruit offering. Hot tub was broken. Small pool was heated. Other hotels in close proximity which may be better, easier to find. Pleasant desk personnel.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and filling and as always free to hotel guests. This was a business trip and my first visit to Nebraska but I will certainly be staying here again on my next trip to Omaha. They do not have a shuttle and there are a couple of local restaurants within walking distance. Overall I had a very good experience with this hotel.

"Has its pros and cons, but overall a good value"

The front desk guys were very helpful and nice. The location is geographically a good one, but impossibly hard to navigate too. The roads are weird in the 100 block around Dodge. The pool is a nice amenity for a smaller hotel, and the spa as well. Water could have been warmer. The hotel rooms are nice, but the A/C unit was very loud. Possible we had a bad unit. Worst part of the hotel honestly, was east-facing windows with only light white curtains that covered the window, not the darker drapes (they only went halfway). Woke me up around 6:30 when I wanted to sleep in. TV wouldn't turn on late at night, but front desk sent someone to fix it right away. Has guest laundry as well, but going to the basement to do it was a little weird.

I've stayed here on multiple occasions and keep coming back because it's always clean! The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, even when I checked in at quarter to one in the morning. The walls/doors seem very, very thin.....entire conversations happening in rooms can be heard when you're walking in the hallway. Just know whatever you're saying in your room, anyone in the hallway can hear it. Cleanliness totally trumps any noise that may occur. Super comfy beds!

I actually have little to say because everything about the hotel and all its employees were nothing less than exceptional. Everything was perfect and I cannot imagine a better hotel stay. I would heartily recommend anyone travelling to the Omaha area to consider this hotel before any other.

If looking for a place to sleep, room was good, above average beds. If traveling with family, the pool was cold and hot tub was nasty. Do not use GPS Call for directions off main road. GPS does not find it. IT is NOT on Dodge rd. I am good with directions but the motel is in the back of a business area and does not have an entrance off of the road. Have to go through the Social Security office parking lot to get to their lot.

Nice size room and ABSOLUTELY quiet. This property would be PERFECT for traveling salespeople. Good size working area. EASY and plenty of free parking. Plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. If you happen to sleep later and miss the free breakfast - not missing much.

Everything was great, 3rd time staying here. All the remodel is done and looks great. People were very friendly and had everything I needed. The hotel is by 2 bars and one has a great menu and great place to watch out of town sports.

"The worst stay EVER"

This was absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was humiliated in front of a lobby full of guest. When I go to a hotel I don't expect to have to deal with rude unfriendly desk clerks and I especially don't expect to be humiliated in front of other guest. I am appalled at being treated like I was. I feel because I got my room with points instead if cash that us why I was treated so rudely and humiliated the way I was. Well hello???? points come from paying for rooms...and...I'm a best western employee..I guarantee you that this WOULD not of happened at my hotel. I was very disappointed with this Best Western and will not recommend it. At my hotel we are asked everyday from guest which one to stay at in omaha.... I can promise you this it will not be this one. I did have one good experience and that was at check in with a man named Don. Check in was the highlight of my 2 day stay there. That's pretty sad...Thank you Don for the great check in...Wish there were more good things I could say but there's not....

"Didn't Really Get What we Thought we were Getting."

We made the reservation for our stay, through Travelocity. We checked that we needed a pet friendly place and Old Mill's website said they were. We also wanted a breakfast bar and an indoor pool. The price from Travelocity wasn't too bad and we decided to book. Upon arrival, I noticed there was a permanent sign in the lobby that said no pets. So of course I had to ask, because we were traveling with our two dogs. The person checking me in said that the pet friendly rooms were on the third floor and he didn't have any available for us. I let him know we specifically picked this hotel because they advertised pet friendly. I then went out to the car where my husband, boys, and dogs were and told them. After my husband finished discussing the situation with the employee, they found a room on the third floor for us. We proceeded to our room, very clean, very neat, looks fairly new, so nothing to complain about. The room has enough space for four and two dogs. We checked out the pool, the water in the pool was pretty cold, but my boys got used to it and swam for a bit. My husband and I used the hot tub. We left the next day, after eating a pretty good breakfast, and a swim in the pool, that was tolerable, (there were two sets of children, well below the age limit to swim on their own, without any supervision, we had to ask them once to quit making SO much noise as it wasn't relaxing and was terrible to put up with.) with our dogs, so the room could be cleaned. We got back about 8:00 that night and the room hadn't been cleaned. We then went to the pool. The pool was even colder and not even tolerable. The pool area also had VERY slippery tiles and we watched a few people slip and a few kids fall. The hot tub had disgusting green water in it and gave off a very bad smell. So, we weren't able to enjoy the pool as much as we'd thought, after a long day, it would have been nice. For the price, I guess it was ok, the room was maintained, and was neat... the pool wasn't the greatest and our reservation wasn't what we thought it was going to be. Having that confrontation right away when checking in, always makes everyone uneasy.

Nice large rooms. Hotel is in very quiet area. Very clean rooms with bed and sitting area. Pet friendly with paved walkway behind hotel that is perfect for walking dogs. Reasonable rates. I did not try the breakfast so can't comment on included breakfast. Starbucks very close by.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Colorado, we chose this hotel because we had our dog with us and they were listed as a hotel that accepts pets. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast was decent, We were pleasantly surprised.

"Re-modelled Hotel"

This hotel has completed some extensive renovations. Rooms are quite nice inside although tubs still need to be upgraded. The location is difficult to access via GPS. Staff is very courteous. Omaha is a difficult city to locate a mid-range hotel that is clean and well maintained. We have tried several others in the are and this hotel is the best at this price range. Once you know where it is located it's easy to find. Quite even though there is a busy road close by. Would stay again if in Omaha.

We came to Omaha to visit family for Christmas. The Old Mill Best Western location is close to our extended family. We found the staff to be friendly, the room was clean and well supplied, the breakfast was very convenient and offered a variety of food. Some of our family also came over to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The staff is helpful, friendly and efficient.

The room was very well updated, friendly staff and new fitness equipments, its anice place to stay, internet 50MB fast very rare hotels have, I was very very please on internet connection and speed, I was able to finish my email communication really quick, I wish all Best Western hotels have this fast wifi ! I mentioned to friend desk about internet speed and he told same thing that many guests were happy, I wouls stay here again for peaceful sleep and fast internet, A walking train right behind hotel was another advantage, FYI.

It was great pleasure to enjoy my stay with this property. I am impressed with the renovation of this location, enjoyed my stay by all means, n will most definatley visit again next month. If anyone in the area I strongly recommend that you should give a shot. The only drawback i see is to get to the location is bit tricky, but one can make it eventually.. :-)

Clean comfortable and more than expected for the price. I will stay here each time I visit in Omaha and will recommend to my friends and relatives. It was convenient to the expressway but was far enough to not hear the traffic noises.

I had really good night sleep, very good breakfast choices, bacon was my favorite, staff was very friendly, we had stayed at this hotel few years back it was really different experience, entire hotel is upgraded. new pool area, newly done fitness room. We will stay at this hotel whenever in town.

All Employees were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was awesome. I prefer to stay at this hotel whenever I visit Omaha. It was a very nice stay. But the place it tricky to find. It is located behind the social security office and is invisible. Took more time to find this hotel

Have stayed at this hotel for many years and the end result of any inconvenience during the update/remodel was worth the wait.Found our room clean and comfortable and the hosts/employees were very plesant and helpful. The hotel is centrally located but is in a very quiet area.

Everything was great except an unpleasant odor when first entered the room. From the smell, I believe that it was a cleaning product used by housekeeping staff ( perhaps over used ). But, it was temporary and not noticeable when I returned to the room later. Room was clean, comfortable and generally quiet. A bit tough to find but Mapquest and similar make it easy once you get there. The food was good when compared to similar offerings from competitors. The bacon was especially good.

I travel alot and have found this hotel is very comfortable and clean,The hallway carpet is very clean and thats a great sign, The staff takes pride in this hotel. ( even sall them picking up all those butts from the smokers that can't find a can ) Location is out of the way of noises but yet close to were you want to vist. ( remember you are at a strange town to you, so it may take a day to under stand the road system ) Pool area and spa is very clean,quiet for a place to sit after a long day, Large rooms and very clean, Large lobby just to relax or use the internet station, Good breakfeast but remember your not at home cooking your own meal. I will be back soon for a week or more in Omaha and I will be back hear, See you soon at the Old Mill Inn ----- Pennsylvania Pete

I stayed two nights at this property. The property is challenging to find and access, there's several quick turns and it seems like you're driving through another business's parking lot to access. The property makes a very good visual appearance on check-in. Check-in itself was quick and was uneventful, the room I had was very nice & large. Room floor plan resembles an Embassy Suites room floor plan except my room had one queen bed. The room was generally clean, good hot water but hard towels and with a very comfortable bed. My room was in close proximity to both the lobby and the breakfast area on the first floor. The computer in the lobby business center worked fine. Room amenities were all in good working order with two flat screen TV's, one for the living room, one for the bedroom. I had to use the guest laundry in the basement during the stay, and will say that the basement floor of this property would make Stephen King proud. Dimly lit, creepy, and full of storage, it gave me the heebie-jeebies just being down there - and I'm a former police officer. The guest laundry itself was pretty dirty, the machines need a good clean-up. Soap was dispensed from the front desk. There was a nice looking pool and spa directly adjacent to the lobby which I did not have an opportunity to try. The complementary breakfast was good, it was attended very well and monitored closely by staff. Check-out is of brief note. For some reason my credit card was overcharged in excess of $100 by the property (definitely exceeding the reserved room rate), this was fixed on check-out. All in all not a bad stay, I'd return stay at this property again if I was again in the Omaha area.

This place was atrocious. There were so many things wrong that I don't want to take the time to list them all. The worst of all was the feces in the whirlpool. I would never ever stay at this hotel again for any reason even if I were paid to do so. I'm considering never using any Best Western again.

What I liked: The night staff was good The hot tub was nice Free parking Room could have been a suite and included two televisions and a great amount of space Nice free breakfast What I disliked: I found the day staff less helpful The rooms let in quite a bit of noise from the hallway and the cleaning crew is noisy during the day Hotel is difficult to find Overall, I might go back if came back to Omaha

We arrived late in the evening and had a pleasant experience. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was adequate. My only complaint (and I'm' just being picky) is that the desk clerk did not give us any directions etc for elevator, location of breakfast & hours & general information. We had to ask after we were check'd in.

Nice well kept Motel will options normally seen in higher priced locations. Good breakfast, convenient parking, friendly staff, central location in Omaha. Only trouble we had was on third day of our stay, our entry key card stop working. It was nice having the extra room in the King suite. The WIFI worked great and was fast. The breakfast room had an attendant, who was friendly and helpful. The fitness room had newer equipment and was supplied with extra towels and water. Enjoyed our 3 day stay.

The staff was nice and tried to help. Not much they can do if the rooms are not up to par. The hot tub was dirty and the hot tub in the room did not look good enough to get in. The bed was extremely comfy but that was it.

Great value in the west Omaha area. Location is not easy to find, due to the new freeway interchange. Very good, hot breakfast. Looks like several rooms have been redone. Beds comfortable. All under $90.
