« Great service, great bed, and great breakfast »

From the moment we entered the front door we were pleased and impressed. Cassius welcomed us and checked us in quickly. He offered us recommendations and directions for places to eat dinner in the area. When we got to our room there was a smoke alarm in the hall that kept "chirping". I called to let him know and he said he would be right up to take care of the problem. And he was true to his word. Great service!! The room was large, clean and had the largest flatscreen I've ever seen in a hotel of this caliber. The bed was not the usual cement lump that seems to be the norm in most motels nowadays. This allowed us the best night's sleep we've had in a motel this year.(We've spent over 30 nights in hotels this year) Great bed! The list of items for breakfast is extensive and has 5 or so hot items as well as the regular cold items (including yogurt). Great breakfast! What was even better was the Groupon coupon we used to lower the rate. We will stay here again if we return to OKC. One item to note, use some mildew cleaner around the tub. Many places we have stayed at seem to forget the lasting impression this leaves.

« not a good value at any price »

This property does not live up to the standards of a BW Plus rating. The rooms are small and not well maintained. Had we looked at the room first before when we first arrived I would have wanted to change hotels. As it was, we were tired from a long day on the road. So we stayed anyway. Very disappointed.

« Excellent value and service »

BW Plus facility typical of the chain offering a clean and comfortable no-frills room for less than $100 per night - including taxes. Staff was friendly, particularly the manager who should be given a raise and a free room given the absurd hours she dedicates to the business (I dont think she ever goes home). The owners have a great opportunity there with the tennant restaurant having recently vacated/relocated. I'd open a family diner/American fare restaurant there given the lack of nearby restaurants. There is also great opportunity to break from the bland BW breakfast model and offer something better. Perhaps open the diner and offer cook-to-order breakfasts. Face it, it's a cheap meal to make.

    « Spiderwebs »

My room had spiderwebs in the corners of the room. I stayed 2 nights but no one came to clean so I talked to the front desk but no one came to resolve the issue. Spoke to 2 separate front desk people who were unhelpful. Finally requested a broom to clean it myself. I won't be staying here again.

    « bw oklahoma city »

this wonderful hotel has a great staff. the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. it allows easy access to many local amenities, restaurants and had convenient freeway access. Parking was right out front. we would definitely stay here again. nice place! thank you !!!!

    « Forgot my room »

Was booked for 2 day stay, on 2nd day I discovered my room was not on cleaning list. Asked a house keeper why my room was not attended to and she said it wasn't on her list. I informed her that my room needed attention which she took care of. Went down to front desk and asked why I was not on cleaning list, was told "he didn't have list of rooms that house keeping had it" to which I informed him that they were told about my room. Thing I didn't like was people walking thru halls with pets after coming from outside. Fleas can and will get into carpets along with what ever else decides to hitch a ride on pets. Will look for NON-PET motels in near future.

    « Good place for a good night's sleep »

The check in was quick and easy and we were greeted by warm and friendly yet professional staff. The neighborhood seemed reasonably quiet for Oklahoma City. The location was close to the National cowboy museum. We used our Best Western points for the stay but the value was there just the same. We would have gladly paid the reasonable rate that would have been charged. The room décor was appealing and the bed was relaxing. We enjoyed a quiet stay and good night's sleep. I'm not a true breakfast person, so I'm not the best judge of breakfast but my husband enjoyed the breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked well. Overall a great value and good hotel have stayed here before in 2012 and would gladly stay again.

« Run away! Run far away. Don't ever stay here!! »

This was BY FAR the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked this hotel through Hotwire, and I was hoping it would be nice based on the positive reviews, and the fact that it was listed as having three stars. I was sorely mistaken. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I had trouble breathing: the entire place reeked of smoke. The lighting was dark, there were cracks in the wall and pictures, and there seemed to be people just loitering in the hallway. I was hoping the hotel room would smell better, but as soon as we walked in I got a headache, because it smelled strongly of smoke and chemicals. The carpet was filthy, there were cracks in the wall, and the bed was the hardest (and smallest) queen size bed I have ever slept on. I honestly did not feel safe in this hotel, and I definitely felt dirty. It was so late, and we were on such a strict budget (we had already spent $80+ on this hotel room!!) that we decided to just stay in the room, even though I honestly didn't feel like I could stay here throughout the night. I felt sure I would get bed bugs or something. But we stayed. In the middle of the night, someone pounded on OUR WINDOW. Our window (we were on the first floor)!! So creepy. Don't stay here. I wish I hadn't. It is the worst hotel.

« Swamp Thing and the Marlboro Man live here. »

Trip Advisor let me down exactly one time and this was it. Nice people at the desk. Friendly and prompt. After that it was ummm, well down hill. Too tired after a day to leave but I will never return. Here is a tip if you do decide to stay, bring your own air freshener, unless you enjoy a constant aerosol reminder that the Swamp Thing and the Marlboro man are responsible for that musty, choking odor. And if cleanliness is next to godliness, this place is going to hell. Pictures show what I could get in. 4 second walk around the place. Hey cleaning crew! Y'all might want to put down the smokes and grab a cleaning rag and some Lysol.

« The WORST 3 star EVER. 1/2 Star at best. »

Where should I start, I mean really........this place is a dump. When I checked in they gave me a room on the 3rd floor. An empty parking lot, and I have to get a 3rd floor room. Upon taking my stuff to the room, the room key would not open the door, as it was malfunctioning. So I had to pack it all back down to the lobby, was switched to another room, and had to drag all my gear back up to floor 3. The stairwells smell like human piss. Seriously, has a homeless man been living in the stairwell. Judging by the back door near the stairwell, which is busted, can't be locked, has no handle, and be accessed 24/7 it wouldn't surprise me if a homeless guy is living in the stairwell. The 3rd floor smelt like urine also and had a nasty odor. The only thing that didn't smell was the room itself. The bed linens were dirty and stained, so I stripped the beds and used a sleeping bag. The tile in the bathroom was broken. I understand they crack, but when a man steps on the tile they shouldn't sink 2-3 inches the shower curtain was torn, the wall in the bathroom had holes and stains all over them. The carpet throughout the hallways, stairwells, and the hotel room were stained, torn, and had holes in it. Management was in the process of replacing carpet, which needed to be done years ago. The window of the hotel room could not close. It has an inch gap. One window pane was so filthy, you could see out of it. The other was was busted and cracked all the way across it. I have stayed in 2 star hotels that were 10x's this place. This place is a broken, filthy, run down 1 star dump. Management doesn't care about your concerns. They just want your money. I booked 3 nights through a 3rd party site, like I always do. I checked out after the first night and see the condition of my room and the hotel in the day light. Management would not refund my money for the remaining 2 nights on my stay. They simply wanted to move me to another room in the dirty run down hotel. Save your money and run from this thing like its the plague.

« Off the Beaten Path »

This hotel of off of the Interstate and off of Broadway Extension road road to Edmond. It is a little difficult to access but a good place to stay. The rooms are slightly larger. The pool and spa are outside for summer use only. There are usually plenty of rooms and lots of parking. Coffee is available in the lobby when you arrive. The breakfast room is large enough for lots of people. Easy check in and check out.

    « Hospital stay »

it's close to ou medical center, average rate for medical stay, breakfast buffet was good, and the hotel was quiet not a lot of noise in hall way. this is the place we usually stay when i have a appointment at the Stephen's Cancer center or OU PHYSICALS. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE OF ALL THE TIME I HAVE STAY I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS HOTEL AND THEY HAVE ALWAY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY IF NECESSARY

« Great People - And Great Breakfast »

This place isn't all sparkly and shiny new, but the rooms are big, comfortable, nice flatscreen TVs, reliable high-speed internet, and the best bunch of people at the desk. The complimentary morning breakfast is AWESOME - everything you or anyone in your family could reasonably want for breakfast. Yes, it is an older property, but considering how much the newer hotel charge (outrageous), and this is place I always stay when I come to OKC.

    « A bit smelly....but ok?! »

We stayed for one night as part of our Route 66 journey. For us the hotel was a bit far out of town, though we did have a car. The staff were friendly & welcoming, hence 2 stars. The hotel itself is a little tired & dated. Our room smelt awful - in hindsight perhaps we should have asked to be moved but to be fair the hallway wasn't much fresher. I think smoking rooms may have been near, again did not ask. Was ok for 1 night but far inferior to the standard we have experienced at the many other BW we have stayed in on our trip.

« Hotel for eye surgery at Dean McGee »

This is 4th time to stay here for my wife's eye doctor visit to Dean McGee. They have a hospital rate. Very courteous staff. Bottom floor rooms a little musty smell at first. upper floors no problem. We feel very comfortable here.

« Damp and moldy smell in our room »

Friendly front desk staff, comfortable bed and a spacious room. The location isn't the greatest but we found the property with no trouble. The room and we stayed in was very damp and humid and had a moldy odor. I don't think that we'll be repeat guests at this hotel.

    « Hotel, employees »

The employees were friendly, very helpful with places to see and how to get there. Bed a little high off floor, but comfortable. Room large, breakfast good. Easy to locate. Price about the same as the others in area.

« falling on hard times »

I've stayed at the B/W Plus Broadway Inn in Oklahoma City over the past 3 years, and the rooms are getting shoddier. I think there may have been a major water leak, because the 3rd floor rooms smelled badly. The internet connection was problematic. It used to be a nice place, but needs some maintenance.

    « Work weekend »

Had to work a few nights out of town. We really enjoyed this hotel. Everything was great they are very close to everything we needed in Oklahoma City. The food was really good and the bar prices were reasonable.

    « Met Our Needs »

The room was adequate and I appreciated the pet friendly policy. I do think that $20 per pet per night is taking advantage of pet owners for extra income. The property was older but reasonably clean. The carpet was very dirty in our room but the room was comfortable. The staff did not interact with the guests very much at all. It was a good stay with no problems.

    « Needs Improvement »

The room had a stale smell. The décor was outdated, mainly the color scheme. Yes it shouldn't matter, but it added to the stale room. Like an old bar, that hadn't been aired out. Take the smell and décor aside, it was a o.k. room. Especially after staying in a BI Plus in Tulsa that exceeded my expectations. The pool was not available nor was the bar and grill. So after unloading we had to go out to get something to eat. Which when I looked online/website it looked great. Oh well it worked for a night. Staff was very nice.

    « Pleasant stay »

I was very pleased with my stay at the Best Western Broadway Inn. The price was excellent and I feel like the experience was even better. The staff was acommodating and pleasant, especially Louisa. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, everything was clean and the shower was fantastic with very tall shower heads. Easy parking, convenient to the highway yet quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

    « Fine place »

The hotel was easy enough to find, and had good curb appeal. The lobby was clean, and has an onsite bar and grill. The rooms were fine, nothing spectacular but were clean and the beds were nice and soft. This location has an outdoor pool, but no hot tub. Overall, good place.

    « Best Desk Staff »

The front desk staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. The hotel location is perfect for getting to anywhere in OKC. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. We will stay here again and again.

« Good for the price »

Easy parking and friendly staff but the hallway carpets are in need of cleaning. Our room was clean, the king bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and WIFI included. Any transgressions could be forgiven since the price was very reasonable. The Agency Bar and Grill located in the hotel lobby offered a good selection at reasonable rates.

    « Terrible! Beware! »

I had to make an unexpected last minute trip and decided to book here. The pictures looked great, very good reviews and a great price so I thought I couldn't go wrong. I arrived around 9:30pm and the male front desk clerk was warm and friendly. The lobby was well kept and inviting. That was the end of what I would classify as a good experience. Our room was on the second floor. As soon as you got off the elevator there was an overwhelming musty "old man" smell. The carpet was thick and uneven making it hard to roll a suitcase down it. We got to the door and my keys didn't work. We went back to the front desk and informed the clerk. His demeanor had become more grumbly and intolerant. He said it wasn't his fault but reprogrammed the keys. When we finally got into the room, the deadbolt was non-functioning and the additional latch lock was missing half of the hardware's screws which made me question its sound function. The room had the same smell and was uncomfortably humid no matter what setting we put the AC on. The carpets had a soggy dirty feel to them and I refused to allow myself or my kids to take their shoes off. When I turned down the covers, I noticed several brown stains on the sheets. I immediately checked the other bed and stripped the dirty one. I took the sheets to the now very grumbly clerk and showed him. He said "ew" and handed me a bag with "clean sheets" in it. He told me to take the dirty ones back to the room and leave them there. I changed the sheets and laid down. I noticed there was some spots on the ceiling that looked like dried "glue." The toilet was extremely noisy when flushed as well. We didn't sleep at all because of how humid the room was. In the morning we went to the continental breakfast. We were looking forward to it because it was advertised everywhere in the hotel. The first thing you saw on the buffet line was a jar with "the cook appreciates your tips" sign on it. The first station housed your typical bread, bagel, bite sized muffins and "homemade" banana bread bits. Next were several domed trays that kept eggs, biscuits, gravy, seasoned potatoes and sausage patties. The eggs were typical powdered eggs, the biscuits were as hard as rocks, gravy bland, the seasoned potatoes were larger than bite sized pieces that still had the skin on. I don't think they were scrubbed prior to cooking because I got the occasional mouthful of grit. The sausage patties were typical. In the mini fridge was kept apples/oranges, cream cheese, margarine and cherry vanilla yogurt. Next on the line was the waffle maker. It didn't make waffles in the traditional shape. There were three wells in the shape of ears of corn for the batter. The timer was broken on it so they provided a small timer that was hard to locate. They said to set it for 5 minutes but my waffles were still raw at that mark. When they were finally cooked (and a line of people waiting to cook theirs) they tasted sour as if the batter was a little off. There was a crockpot with oatmeal in it and they provided brown sugar, slivered almonds, raisins, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts and granola for additives. This was my favorite out of everything and appreciated the unique options. Hidden around a corner was the cereal dispenser (fruit loops, Cheerios and Raisin Bran), whole/2% milk, apple/orange juice, iced/hot water and coffee. The coffee was standard and I was disappointed they only offered powdered creamer. After a rather disappointing breakfast we readied ourselves for the day. The shower was very nice. It had wonderful pressure and the water got/stayed hot. We didn't get to swim in the outdoor pool because it was closed. They were refilling it. At checkout there was a discrepancy with my bill. The clerk said she had never seen that occur before and checked with her manager. I waited for nearly 45 minutes for them to figure it out. By that time my kids were restless and I was late for my appointment. When the clerk finally came back she said she couldn't figure it out and I told her I'd just pay the bill because I was late for an appointment. She never once apologized or even tried to make it seem like she cared. I told her about my experience with the room, sheets and ceiling. All she said was "ew" and "I'll get someone to check the ceiling." Customer Service skills are lacking in everyone I encountered at that hotel. They made me feel like they didn't care if I was there or not. I definitely will not be back ever again. My advice would be to spend the few extra dollars and stay some place else.

    « Best Western OKC »

We moved room 3 times because each roomed smelled of smoke and/or mildew even though it was a nonsmoking room. Woke with bad sinus headache and then found that there was mold growing on the wall under the air conditioner and along the baseboards. We checked out after staying one night of our 5 night stay. The staff wasn't rude just indifferent to the issue. at check out when we told them why we were leaving they never offered an apology of offered to try and fix the problem.

    « Average »

We stayed there 2 nights when road tripping accross country. The hotel is easy to access and looks ok but is really close to the freeway, making it quite noisy (even in the room). Check in has been really quick and easy. The room itself was clean and quite large. Bathroom looked dated but clean anyway. Breakfast is just okay, not a lot of potential choices and average quality. Pool was closed the whole time (the outside is too noisy anyway to rest there). There is a gym but a very poor one.

    « Perfect Stay »

This was a great place to stay, all of the staff made me feel welcome and right at home. I travel with a service dog and no one made me feel awkward by having her with me. In fact they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and a good temperature. The restaurant was excellent, right off of the lobby. All of the food I ordered was delicious. Will definitely stay here next we come through Oklahoma.

    « Needs some work »

Great late night staff. Location was excellent - near the highway. but room in the back so no noise for a light sleeper. Room musty smelling, black mold on ceiling, sticky bathroom floor, room phone out of order.

    « OK Hotel »

This hotel could use a little TLC. Beds we're comfortable and the area was pretty quiet. A hot breakfast is served and was better than a lot of hotels. Not enough towels but we went to the front desk for more. We also ran out of toilet paper the day we were checking out. Management tried to be helpful with a Rewards Program issue but in the end she just ended up making my husband madder by basically telling him he didn't know how to make an online reservation. We would not go back to this hotel again.

    « comfortable »

Hotel is just off a highway, and my end was noisy with traffic, not a problem for me but some might find it annoying. The room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast above average for this type of place. I'll probably stay here again as there aren't too many choices this convenient to that end of town.

    « RUDE »

Had a reservation at this property. When I called to check on room was told by front desk there were plenty of rooms. When I arrived to check in was told that all the rooms were either occupied or vacant and dirty. When I questioned this was told that I was a liar and that I wasn't told there were plenty of rooms. I stay in 200 plus hotels a year and HAVE NEVER BEEN spoken to in this manner. Called Best Western corporate and because it was Saturday got the feeling he didn't care. I WILL NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS PROPERTY AGAIN!

    « Needs a Makeover! »

We like staying at BWs because nearly all of them accept pets. This hotel has seen better days. The carpet in the hallway was loose and wavy, especially when pushing a loaded luggage cart. The room was very spacious! The couch looked dirty and had a tear in the cushion. The microwave stand had a piece of paneling missing. The bathroom.door would not shut without a forcible slam. It just made you feel like it was a run down motel instead of the BWs we've grown accustomed to. On a positive note, morning breakfast was great!

« Close to the venue but not worth it! »

It was supposed to be a king suite and it was just a basic room. It was supposed to have a king size bed with a queen sized fold out sofa. Was told it only had a king bed to sleep FOUR PEOPLE and that they had no other available rooms and that they were non-refundable. The fold out bed was unclean with no sheets and was broken. It stunk of cigarettes to high heaven. The breakfast was not bad, as it was one of the good things of the place. The floor felt like it could collapse at any time with stains all over it. I wouldn't rate it even a 1 if I didn't have to. Not pleased at all. Would not recommend to anyone.

« Adequate, affordable, and clean rooms »

Location at north side of OK City is convenient to all Interstates. Rooms at the west end of the hotel may have a little more highway noise than others at the front of the hotel. Breakfast is not as good as we have had at other BW hotels, but adequate. A newer, automatic waffle iron would be helpful.

    « Nice clean hotel »

This hotel was clean and quiet. Most the staff we encountered was very polite. The room was clean, the towels were above average and the shower had great water pressure. The only rub we had was they were unwilling to allow a late check out due to "policy"

« Beware of this hotel! »

This hotel provided a terrible experience beginning at check in when the representative stated she was having a terrible day! The room had a bad odor and a leak in the ceiling with popcorn ceiling pieces falling over the desk. When this was reported the agent stated she would have to call the roofer again! The breakfast was of very poor quality. The staff would not answer the telephone!

    « Good Choice »

We stayed on the third floor and the room was extra clean, comfortable and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was as good as most restaurants! A highlight for us was the meal prepared for us late the earlier evening. The host/manager was so friendly...offering us a choice from the menu even though they were closing in 30 minutes. He also greeted us the next morning when we were having breakfast. Because of our good experience we booked a room at the hotel for the following week. Our only disappointment was that the room was $12.00 more than when we booked online.

« Large room but a little dated »

The room was massive. We were on the 2nd floor and even though only there for 1 night the room was a little dated. It could do with a touch up of paint and the bathroom could do with some new sealant. Carpets were a little worn too Great restaurant in the hotel with large menu Staff were friendly and helpful.

    « Route 66 »

Hotel was clean and tidy but a little dated And they allowed pets which made the place smell hence my low score The staff were amazing and very helpful for out of town people like us! Breakfast was a great choice and well stocked Hotel is not 2 miles from city centre its 6

    « Great Stay »

You won't mistake this place for a Ritz Carlton, but it's a solid choice for a good night's stay, and they have an AWESOME complimentary breakfast. It is an older property, but it's still in good shape. Not a lot of dining choices immediately nearby, but if you've got wheels there are plenty of dining and shopping places close by.

    « Accommodating »

We only booked this hotel for one night and it was accommodating enough. We pulled in late and were checked in fairly quick. We were put on the 2nd floor but had requested the bottom floor when booking, but that doesn't matter. First come, first serve even if you have reservations, that and they don't read the comments section where you can request things. We usually request bottom floor due to having younger children and we knew we'd be arriving pretty late. We just don't want people to complain about us being noisy while trying to settle in. There were some moldy looking spots in the shower and places that needed to be fixed in the ceiling or looked like they had been fixed(pics included). Breakfast was pretty average. Nice that it was hot but nothing about it screamed amazing. Husband said the biscuits were quite hard. Salsa was pretty good though. Plenty of room to sit as well. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant or pool since we left that morning after breakfast. As another review stated the front was taped off not allowing you to pull thru by the front doors. I guess a U-haul thought it was small enough to fit thru and took out part of the building(sorry I don't have a pic of it). It's not a huge inconvenience. We just backed in and loaded our luggage right there in front. If that's something that's an inconvenience for you I'd suggest finding another hotel or calling to see if it has been fixed. Overall, this was great for one night. I didn't realize it was a little out of our way when booking but it worked out for us.

« Better find another hotel »

We cannot park the car in front of the lobby to check in because of the yellow tape due to construction works. The front desk said that he cannot finish his work (not sure what he was referring to) because he had to check us in, and he said he rather be at home with his baby. I wish I can get my money back and go to another hotel. Then we found bugs in the bathroom (this was late night after shower and in the morning when we came back from breakfast). The WiFi is very poor, we got disconnected many times. The TV picture quality is bad (not sharp), as if the channels were analog like the old days. I will never stay at this hotel again.

    « don't stay here »

no reservations after I made them with the hotel staff. disabled and was on the third floor, and other people that came in later got first floor rooms.Dried blood on inside of staff barged into room when my wife was in the shower and I was carrying out suit cases torn carpet on floor.floor uneven and wobbly.. sheets dirty

« Hotel is great location to ASA Hall of Fame Stadium »

The room was very clean, tub & bathroom were spotless. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast offered several choices including eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, bagels, hot/cold cereal, peanut butter & jelly, fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, coffee, waffle maker with syrup & sugar-free syrup.

« Travellers from England following Route 66g »

This hotel was good and quite sufficient for our requirements, the room was of a decent size and well equipped, the breakfast was good, better than a lot of hotels we have visited on our trip. It was convenient for the country and western museum and not far from a couple of reasonably priced restaurants.

« Good for the price! »

Be sure you request and confirm "smoking/non smoking" at the time of your booking. (Honestly I didn't realize that hotels still offered smoking rooms. So this part was on me.) We got stuck in a smoking room and unfortunately had to keep it due to the amount of people in town when we went. I am personally highly sensitive to the smell of smoke so this greatly impacted my enjoyment of my trip. The internet isn't great at all. We called the front desk to check about it as it was running extremely slow and were told that all 3 floor ran off of "one server" so "it's going to be slow" and we would just have to deal with it. You would think that for a large hotel with 3 levels of guests they could invest in a second "server" to improve guest experience. Breakfast was very enjoyable every morning with several options. You wouldn't have to eat the same breakfast twice if you didn't want to. The bar/restaurant was disappointing on our one visit there. They ran out of the alcohol for the drink I ordered, gave me something else, then charged me the same price as the original drink. The nachos were subpar to say the least. So don't order those. The front desk staff was friendly for the most part and were able to help navigate to local shops. When asked for dining suggestions they weren't able to offer personal opinions told me they didn't "eat (out) often" and just handed me a sheet of paper with a list of places to eat. I found this disappointing as I love to know where locals like to eat. The housekeeping staff was on top of everything. They were very accommodating when I asked them to change all of our bed linens to try and help the "smoke smell" in our room. Our room was cleaned and ready to go every day by noon, which was great for us as we had down time in the afternoons and wanted to rest. The location of this hotel is amazing, especially if you're in town for the WCWS as we were. It's less than five minutes away from the field. You're also very close to the OKC Zoo, Remington Park (horse track and casino), movie theater, shopping and several dining options. Overall I would stay here again and just be SURE I booked a "non smoking" room and that I didn't have any work to be done that required a useful internet connection.

    « Oklahoma Surprise »

Found it excellent value for my stay during the college world series. Great value in the room rate, nice helpful staff, minutes from the ball field and breakfast as part of the deal. Aside from location to ball field its right of the highway so access to other venues is great

« Great hotel for the price. »

Rooms were clean. We had trouble with the TV and when they couldn't fix the issue they put a new one in the room. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was easy to find - just off the highway. We would stay here again.

« Get place to stay »

Registered on line. It was easy and fast. Once we got there, we needed another night and the incredible staff got us one fast. She was very accomodating and helpful. We got a Medical Rate due to our stay at OU Medical Center.

« Great hotel for the price »

This is a conveniently located, clean, affordable and friendly place to stay. It is a little dated, but if you are just looking for a place to spend a night or two, this place is a great deal. Bar is nothing fancy, but good selection. Hot breakfast is not bad.

    « 1 day in oklahoma »

Quite difficult to find and far out of town. Around $30 in a taxi in to town which is where you need to be. Was looking forward to a swim after a long drive from Springfield but pool was out of action due to chemicals??? Overall was ok for 1 night during our Route 66 trip but not ideal for any linger.

    « Stay Review »

Convenient place close to airport. Rooms need make over and new cleaning product. Rooms felt stuffy. I felt it was clean. The food was by no means organic and limited options but serving alot of people this is cheapest way to go.

« Very good hotel; reasonably priced »

Very good hotel where I have stayed several times. I have always found that the rate for this hotel is reasonable. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Good selection at breakfast. The hotel itself may be hard to find for some. It is at the end of a dead end street, Santa Fe Ave., which exists in other parts of Oklahoma City. This part of Santa Fe Ave. is off of NW 63rd Street, which is an exit off of the Broadway Extension Highway, route 77. This is just north of I-44. The only problem I had with the room were messages on the TV's guide about "program not available". The desk clerk tried to resolve but apparently the hotel is switching to some digital signal from their provider, which appears to be causing the problem.

« Fair for the price. »

Facility was fair, somewhat older, was disappointed that the restaurant was closed when we got there. Not as nice as others we stayed at on this trip. Better than the Super 8's and Motel 6's. Not enough electrical plug-ins or placed where the would be easy to use. The othermotels had bedside lights with dual receptacles.

« Decent for price but.... »

The property is old and smells like it...I forgot some clothes in my room closet and upon contacting them for the same, got 3 different answers - a. we'll call you back; b. we never found any and c. we donated them. One of the agents forgot to mute my line and I could hear her talk about why guests leave stuff behind and then make the staff look for it. The breakfast is hot and decent - scrambled eggs, sausage and fresh waffles. The staff is friendly, otherwise and the rates are low.

    « pleasure »

stay as good lounge was pricey for what you get stayed 3 days room service never showed up till checkout day at 830 am and woke us up wanting to clean room. they knocked on door till we finially told them to leave.hotel was kinda out of way for what we wanted overall not bad

« Reasonably Priced and Great Free Breakfast »

Convenient to Hwy 77 and I-44. Good prices, and an AWESOME free breakfast. Big rooms, broad selection of cable channels. High-speed internet that's actually high speed. Clean guest laundry facilities, plenty of parking. Very friendly, helpful staff.

« Probably wont be back »

They really need to work on their customer service. We drove up from Fort Worth, TX for mothers day weekend. We were meeting my inlaws at the horse races, and we got to the hotel about noon. I had called the previous day to see if we might be able to check in early. We were willing to pay extra since we had our pups with us and wanted to drop them off at the hotel and head out to meet our family. they told me over the phone, that wasn't a problem as long as the room was ready. When we got there, there weren't any rooms ready. the lady at the front desk told us there would not be a room ready until 3. I used to work in the hotel industry, and I knew very well, they could have a room ready within an hour if they really wanted to. she was very unaccommodating, and just told us we would have to come back at 3. poor poor customer service. I understand, checking in early is not a guaranteed thing, but I just know they could have tried to get a room ready, as we just had to hang out in the lobby, before leaving our dogs in the car for an hour (yes, I left the car on WITH the air running) before we could go back to the hotel and check in. hotel and rooms look old and dated, sheets felt old and worn. they had a small bathroom area for animals. probably wont be back, just based on the lack of customer service.

    « Great BW Plus »

I am never disappointed when staying at Best Western Broadway Inn & Suites Plus when in Oklahoma City. It is easily accessed and they are always ready for me with a smile and very courteous. As always I wish this did not have to be 200 characters minimum.

    « Oklahoma Business »

I have stayed here for many Oklahoma City business trips. Always clean, large rooms, good internet service. Usually check in very late and never have any problems. A dependable hotel with easy freeway access. Price is good compared to equal hotels in the area. Dining in the hotel is ok. Would recommend for business or family travel.

    « Great place »

Overall I really like this hotel. My husband and I have stayed here several times. My only problem is the beds are too hard for my taste. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. Excellent value for the price you pay.

    « Best Western Plus - OKC »

Motel is nice but trying to call to make a reservation or talk to the front desk is almost impossible. They also make mistakes in billing if there is a change in the front desk personal if you check in and then have another business guest check in. Rooms were nice and clean but I think a little overpriced.

« Road noise made this just an average stay »

The road noise from I-44 was horrible (ear plugs were REQUIRED.). Other than that, the room was very good and roomy with an above average TV, however they need more available outlets for the gadgets we tote around today. The breakfast was better than most with the usual fare. Parking was excellent, Wi-fi acceptable, and check in quick and easy.

« Nice stop in oklahoma city »

We stopped there passing thru. Hotel is located off the main road in a private area with medical buildings. Nice area, shopping and restaurants nearby. Buffet breakfast in the restaurant was typical best western quality. Rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed. I dont know about the older appointments reviews I thought this place was very nice Lots of tv stations and good speed on the internet. We watched netflix from the room. Helen at the front desk was super and knows how to make guests welcome. Close to cowboy national museum. I would stay there again

    « Overnight stay »

Older property that shows its age instantly once you are past the updated lobby... booked the room after seeing some positive reviews and good pictures, but they may have been of an updated room that we did not receive. Room had updated furniture and finishes in the bathroom, beyond that, the rest of the room and hallways take you back to the 90's when they were last updated. For just a passing through, overnight stay it is adequate, and a decent price but not as up-to-date as other properties at this pricepoint.

    « Great trip »

Helen took great care of me this weekend made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff catered to our needs. If I am ever in the area again this will be my first choice. The breakfast is great, the eggs could use some salt. The rooms are in good condition.

    « Never again »

The front desk staff was friendly, but that was all I have nice to say about this seedy hotel. It is badly in need of updating. The sheets were not the cleanest. They provided tickets for the breakfast in the morning, which I found odd. The breakfast was the standard continental fare - not cooked well though. All in all, I would not stay here again. The location was convenient, but I will spend a little bit more and get something nicer.

    « Horrible service »

I stayed here for 8 days, they only cleaned room three days. We had to find the staff to get towels. Three consecutive days without having the room cleaned. When we presented this issue to the manager, we were told that the housekeeping staff said we have them permission to not touch our beds. Solid lie! !

« Great Customer Sevice from front desk to staff!!!! »

Helen was able to handle a complicated situation because when I booked the reservation with it was never to be found which quite chaotic but she was very calm, friendly and assured me that she will take care of it which she did. The location for me and the hotel itself is not a five stars but the people that works in the hotel is the reason why I rated this review five stars

« Restaurant and bar closes early due to minimal customers??? »

I travelled 3 nights and stayed in Best Western Plus Hotels due to restaurant convenience. Stayed at Williams Arizona, and Gallup New Mexico the first 2 nights. The were very nice with restaurants and lounges as a Best Western Plus is advertised. The 3rd night was booked at Oklahoma City Best Western Plus. After driving all day I was looking forward to a meal and nightcap when I arrived at 8:30-9:00pm. Once I arrived, we asked the front desk person if the restaurant was open as the hours for Friday night were until 11pm. We were advised it closed early (8 pm) since "there were not many customers"!! REALLY? Well the b Lounge was also closed! I wonder if they close the hotel if they do not have a customer check in every hour??? In addition, it was apparent that we may have been bothering the front desk person (Helen) as we checked in. She was snaking on something for the time it took to check us in and it appeared we interrupted a phone call she was on. At any rate, we either had to drive somewhere to eat or wait until morning. It appeared that this is a common occurrence given the response received by Helen. It was just stated that way, no apology or explanation it was a one time thing. Well, I guess 2 out of 3 is nights are not bad receiving decent service! If I ran my business like this I would not be in business. I wonder if Corporate knew they closed early???

« Room ok, hotel needs some repair »

Although our room was satisfactory, I felt the overall condition of the hotel was below average. Hallways needed updated, painted and in need of repair. Price should reflect that and Best Western should not rate this as a PLUS hotel. In contrast, Check in staff was friendly.

    « Highly disappointed »

Have stayed in other pet friendly hotels including Best Westerns and have never given a bad review but this hotel is in poor condition with unknowledgeable staff. Room had missing knobs on closet, broken chair arm and broken dresser. put on third floor with terrible access to outside. Was unable to get luggage cart, when found, in room to unload. At least the restaurant was very good.

    « Complimentary »

Best Westery Plus Broadway Inn & Suites - my choice when in Oklahoma City, OK - I have been a customer of this Best Western since about 2009 or 2010 and am well please with everything there. I wish this spot didn't need 200 characters minimum - I can only say so much and like to make it brief. If anything this is the one thing (Your Review) that I dislike.

    « A Pleasant Place to Stay »

The woman at the check in desk was efficient and friendly. My dog and I were warmly welcomed and given a non smoking room. The room could use a little updating, but it was comfortable and pleasant. There was lots of coffee in the room and free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. There was green space around the hotel for my dog. When I took my dog out, I had to walk all the way through the lobby. I wish they would install locks to allow access to the other hotel doors using a room key. But this was a minor inconvenience. The restaurant inside the hotel was very pleasant. The server was jovial and competent. My dinner quesadilla was delicious. The free breakfast was sensational. I'd definitely stay there again.

« Clean, comfortable room for a quick stay »

My dad and I were driving cross country to SF and stayed here for a night after getting a fantastic last-minute deal on We were happy with the room - comfortable beds, clean and inexpensive. Plus, they allow pets, which many hotels in the area did not. There's a small workout room in the hotel and a larger complimentary gym across the street. All in all, a good stay for the price!

    « average »

Facilities are nice but average, rooms are small and out dated but ok. facilities still have popcorn ceilings and some older wood paneling. Beds have that old school rough ugly comforters. Free breakfast and is very good variety and Is very well laid out and good food. Bar is old school and kinda gloomy. Staff is nice but I feel like just another customer getting a room. Also they do not offer rooms with a couch or living room area or suite. price of the rooms are a little for what you get. You can go else where and get a way better, nicer, updated rooms for the same price or even cheaper. This place is nothing special but not bad either, it's just average. Also pool is outside in the parking lot with no privacy fyi.

« Best Western Best Staff and Best Breakfast »

The hotel was not very busy. It wasn't the best Best Western I have stayed at, but the room was nice, the staff was great, and breakfast was wonderful. I love Best Western roominess, their quality towels, comfortable bedding. It was easy access from the highways I was traveling and to head in the direction i needed to go, which is why I picked this one. Being alone, one of the hostesses went out of her way to spend some time talking to me. Best Westerns do seem to have knowledgeable and friendly staff wherever I go. The only entrance was through the main front doors, as the others were locked and did not access from the outside, which meant a lengthy trip from the car to the room. On the security side, this is good - on the disability side, it was a bit more taxing. Sadly, the restaurant had closed so food options were limited without driving. The bar was closed too. Traveling alone by car, I prefer to have easy access to food when I stop for the day so that was very disappointing. I knew I would be able to count on a bountiful cooked breakfast in the morning, so I managed with my supplies and the room microwave.

    « Complimentary »

I am treated like family at Best Western. I am a fan deluxe! It's the little things that I appreciate there along with coffee in the lobby at all times and the friendliness of the staff. I wish this did not have a minimum of 200 characters. I have said all I need to say

    « Very relaxing hotel »

Room was very spacious and clean. Price was reasonable, as I did shop around for others in the area. All the staff I encountered was very nice, polite and accommodating with questions I had. Did not hear a sound on the third floor except the occasional closing and opening of a guest room door.

    « Nice Hotel »

The Best Western Plus Broadway Inn and Suites in Oklahoma City is a nice hotel. The location was very close to an event I was attending with friends, so it was a very convenient place to stay. I went downstairs for breakfast within the last 20 minutes that breakfast was being served, so I had to eat what was available as no additional fresh food was put out during the time I was there eating. The breakfast offerings were somewhat picked over at that time. The decor of the guest room appeared somewhat dated, but everything was clean, comfortable and in working order, so I overlooked that. I will definitely stay here again should when I return to the area.

    « Good Value »

Reasonable price tor generally good quality facility. Located at I-235 and I-44 junction so very convenient. Routine budget hotel breakfast and upgraded internet make it a Good Value .You will need transportation as it is on the other side of town from the airport, and a fair distance from downtown.

    « not real happy »

rooms are very outdated and our room and the room had a musty odor to it no chair for the desk would not be a hotel that I would stay at again only stayed there cause we got a discount on the room since I had surgery the next morning at St Anthony North and it was close to the hospital, right next door so if you need a close hotel for that then this is it nut dont expect a lot of it

    « Good motel - easy off I-235 - horrible return to I-35 »

I was traveling Texas to Minnesota via I-35. Only as I was traveling to this motel did I realize it was near I-235, not I-35. I left I-35 by using I-235 about six miles. The motel was near an exit of I-235. I thought, that tomorrow I'd return those 6 miles to I-35. However, Map Quest guided me to take a local street onto a state highway back to I-35. The local street actually led me onto an Interstate Highway that took me waaaay out of the way before finding I-35. Therefore, I will not stay at this motel again. I'll stay at Edmond Inn and Suites instead. However, if you are comfortable with I-235 and don't feel that takes you too far afield from I-35, I recommend this hotel. As I said, reaching the hotel from I-235 was easy. The reception agent was pleasant. The room was nicely appointed in an oatmeal and red theme. Furnishings included a dresser, microwave, refrigerator, TV, desk, two queen beds, and an outlet for recharging our phones. The beds were comfortable and low enough to sit on. The bathroom had a marble counter and shower surround. The shower had a grab bar. A closet had 6 - 8 hangers. The motel offered USA Today.

    « Not bad. »

The negatives first: older hotel...rooms/hallways are kinda humid...flat screen but poor picture The positives: refrigerator and microwave...decent free breakfast...clean rooms...clean grounds...nice restaurant and bar...quiet...nice staff Overall, not a bad place. I stay there every time I'm in Oklahoma.

    « Clean and Quite »

Not a bad place to stay for a night. We drove in from Louisville on our way back to LAX and got in late. The hotel clerk was very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Clean, the bathroom was free of mold and being in OKC the rate was very reasonable. It could have been a lot worse.

    « clean, comfortable, quiet »

after a VERY LONG day on the road, met with friendly check in. BW beds are always comfortable - didn't wake until the alarm went off. Only suggestion, check the tv before your husband falls asleep - it was very loud when I turned it on, brought him right out of his sleep (oops) - anyway went down to breakfast in the morning and it was quite a set up. Homemade salsa, careful there was a bite to it :-) good breakfast. Glad we stayed here, however my co-travelers were not happy that it was so far off the 40. There are several BWs in OKC. It was close, however to the memorial that we did want to see, so it worked out.

« Always good for business »

We come to Oklahoma City every year middle of September. We work very long hours and mostly this hotel is very nice. there is a small problem with the ground floor and a musty odor but they have worked on it and it is improving. Sometimes you have to call down for the noise people in the hall but they get them quieted quickly. So mostly its very quiet and makes sleeping good. Very convenient to town but traffic around there good with shopping and restaurants close.

« Great place to stay »

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and very nice. Elevators were fast, The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The staff were all professional and helpful, The location is a little difficult to get to but is a quiet area,

    « Outstanding hotel »

Outstanding hotel. Conveniently located to downtown, quiet, clean, well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent full breakfast included - they use real eggs, too. They put on a private family dinner for us that was outstanding. Very comfortable beds. Best Best Western we have stayed at. Highly recommended.

    « Maintenance »

Property poorly maintained. Staff did not adequately respond to customer requests. Tub plugged, TV remote didn't respond, and Mattress was bumpy and uncomfortable. Telephone reservation was unsatisfactory as the motel clerk hung up on me as I was asking for an email confirmation Manager took 3 days to respond to my voicemail message.

    « Good priced hotel »

Nice hotel, clean room and shower worked well. Helpful front desk staff. Breakfast included in the price. There is some noise from nearby highway but not enough to keep you awake. Overall, good value for money as most BW hotels seem to be and it met our needs when travelling route 66.

    « Horrible Experince »

I heard bad reviews but belive everyplace can still provide great service in a bad situation, I stayed here because it was recommed by ST. Anthony's Surgery Center and i had surgery the next day. When I checked in I felt like the staff was rude at first and when I said I had a reservation, atitude change to a positive one I had resevered a king size bed, but received a queen size bed call the office and was moved to 201. I arrived in 201 room had a musty smell i turned on the a/c grabed for the remote only to see the the back of the remote off and batterys held in by tape. After a while I used the toilet and it plugged up and started to over flow called the desk and they brought me a plunger and didn't offer to unplug the toilet leaving it to me. Upset and very tired after that ordeal I jumped into the shower noticed the curtain was loose and the fausit handle was too. I was to tired by then i would let them know the problem in the morning, when checking out I let them know of all the problems, and yet i was charged my regular rate.

    « Very Good Hotel. »

This hotel is clean and tidy. Efficient friendly check in. Large well appointed room. It is next to a main highway so if traffic noise worried you it is not ideal. The complimentary breakfast was average at best. Overall OK for the price we paid.

« Acceptable for an overnight stay, but avoid the bar/restaurant. »

Room smelled musty, but we sprayed it with air freshener and mentioned the fact to staff. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Restaurant a disappointment. We were told that happy hour was from 5-8pm, but were charged very high prices for syrupy, watery Margaritas and cheap wines.

    « Oklahoma Pity »

We were looking for lodging near the National Cowboy Museum and this seemed a good bet. However, the hotel seems in need of some refurbishment. There apparently isn't much insulation as noises from other rooms and a nearby highway could be heard throughout the night. Also the bathroom was in need of a thorough cleaning around the tub as well as maintenence on the shower. The included breakfast featured runny eggs and some stale breads. Not up to usual Best Western standards.

    « A "Minus" not a "Plus" »

Rated a BW Plus Hotel but it ended up being a BW "Minus". Despite a special needs request due to a walking issue we were put at the end of a very long hallway. Tried to change the room, but clerk said she didn't have anything, despite lack of cars and people anywhere. Litter in elevator which grew overnight! Room had slight odor as if it had been a smoking room in the past. Back entrance doors would not close together properly. Anyone could just walk into the building at anytime. Restaurant was closed (Sunday night). Breakfast was excellent, but that was the only real positive. I would not stay again.

« Experiences with Best West Plus Broadway OKC, OK »

Overall experience is very good and we will stay again and always recommend it to our family and friends. The staff and housekeeping are always friendly and helpful. We've eaten both breakfast and dinner there and it was really good. Try it, I sincerely feel that you won't be disappointed. Alway's make reservations in advance because they fill fast.
