This region is known for Crater Lake National Park, but our cozy Oakridge hotel is also the perfect getaway for couples looking for a romantic retreat. There are plenty of outdoor activities to satisfy even the most demanding enthusiast. Hiking, biking, hunting, and fishing are all popular pastimes here. Our Oakridge hotel is located in the mountain biking capital of the northwest, and guests come from around the country to tackle the trails. Whether you prefer a relaxing day on the lake or an exciting adventure, both are possibilities. We're the only branded hotel in the area, and guests depend on us to deliver the Best Western promise of convenience, value, and comfort every day. As the only hotel in Oakridge with a pool and hot tub, this is the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains or on the lake. Free wireless Internet is standard, and a deluxe complimentary breakfast features a waffle station, fresh fruits and pastries, yogurts, cereals, and of course our 100% Arabica coffee. Mountain Bike Oregon draws a crowd with three different three-day events. International travelers flock to Crater Lake, but there are plenty of additional options for entertainment. The Willamette Pass Ski Resort is a must for skiers and snowboarders. Salt Creek Falls, the second tallest waterfall in Oregon, is also near where many natural hot springs and five hundred miles of hiking trails can be found. Our Oakridge hotel is also a favorite for business travelers who are lucky enough to be in the area for work. We regularly welcome employees of Union Pacific Railroad, the USDA Forest Service, Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, to name just a few. Our convenient location makes it easy to travel around the area, whether you need to go to a meeting or take on a new trail. Book a cozy, clean room at Best Western Oakridge Inn, where friendly service and a great value await! Enjoy your stay.

« Friendly Owners and staff and great breakfast »

I think the owners were the friendliest we have ever met. So helpful with information and even asked us for any feedback from our stay. All our feedback was positive. Rooms clean and breakfast was fabulous. They recommended we visit Salt Creek Falls nearby and we did and it was gorgeous!

« Great Option for Quick Stay »

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Standard breakfast in the morning. Great value for stay - inexpensive room rates. Couldn't find many other hotels in the area and we were checking in very late, last minute, no reservation. Staff checked us in quickly and gave us a great rate. Pet friendly room and it was still pretty clean. Pool & hot tub weren't used, but looked nice and clean. Some road noise heard quite a bit in the room.

    « Oregon trip »

Room was clean and comfortable. They gave us a handicap room for no reason. It wasn't requested and there were vacancies. My wife would not let me make a big deal about it, but I don't like it. Breakfast was fine.

« Need a place to stay relatively close to I-5 on the way to crater lake. Great stop »

We were amazed at how friendly they were in this place and it was very clean. The breakfast is a real breakfast That included fresh waffles and fresh cooked eggs. Even sausages and toast cereal and fruit. If we were in the area, we would go back there again. Crater Lake is one and a half hour drive from there but about 25 minutes on the way there is the salt creek waterfalls. The second highest in Oregon. This place is worth the price

    « Good Location »

This inn was conveniently located on our way to Crater Lake. Minuses were some road noise and musty smell in room. Pluses were decent breakfast and the gentleman who owns it gave us many helpful ideas on what to see in the area.

« Decent Rooms, Service Could Improve »

I have traveled nearly 2,500 miles before landing at Oakridge. I booked this hotel because I am a best western employee and it was a good midway point to all the things I wanted to visit again (the beach, Eugene, Salem, and Crater Lake) so I booked this hotel for 5 nights. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were mostly clean. But the service could be a hell of a lot better. At my hotel back home I was top rated employee for customer service, so after I drive for so long I expected something better..When I went to check in I asked the front desk agent were Are some cool hiking trails in the area, in a rude attitude, she said "idk, the maps are behind you" I felt like I was bothering her. All I wanted was a friendly smile or a warm interaction with anyone! In my nearly week stay there after having communication with 6 or 7 employees, I only once had a friendly interaction so props to Tara (or Cara (it was something like that)). I had breakfast nearly every morning and the front desk people walked through the breakfast room several times and it would of helped to at least say good morning but instead it looked like they just hated working there. Location is a beauty but service could definitely improve.

« Great place to stay and drive to crater lake »

We were amazed at how clean and organized the place is. We had a fantastic breakfast that included fresh waffles and fresh cooked eggs and sausages and toast and cereal and fruit and what more can I say. If we were in the area, we would go back in a heartbeat. Crater lake is 1-1/2 hr drive but 25 minutes on the way is salt creek falls. The 2nd highest in Oregon. Worth the stop and easy access. Crater lake is on a bucket list of places to see to believe. This hotel is easy access to I-5. And worth the price.

« Best Hotel in Oakridge »

Don't even try to fool around with the other hotels/motels in Oakridge. This one is it. Clean, comfortable, great service and a reasonable continental breakfast. There's a really great place to eat for hamburgers, etc., just across the street.

    « Just right »

This Best Western was along our route to visit Crater Lake. The price was right for a spacious, clean room with a comfortable King-sized bed. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending a good place to eat dinner. A good deal for your money.

    « good price »

clean rooms, very comfortable bed, good television ,good price, scenic area, lakes and rivers near by and a lots place to eat ,staff very friendly and helpful, also great hiking area also look like good breakfast but did not feel like eating. my wife also love it

    « Passing through Oakridge »

The Bathroom was not clean and there was trash behind the bed. The room Needed a thorough cleaning. The person at the desk was not familiar with local places to eat other than just naming them. It was OK otherwise. Standard breakfast fare

    « Could be better »

The staff was very nice when we checked in. Problem: Hotel room was not completely clean. Floors needed to be swept and vacuumed. Needed dusting badly. No one cleaned our room the second day. Has potential if they would pay more attention to detail.

    « Excellent »

Love the owners & the full breakfast they provided for us. Rooms were clean, everything worked & the pool area was clean. Highly recommended. Great location. Would not hesitate to stay there again :) :)

    « To Crater Lake »

Awesome welcoming warm hospitality in clean environment. Highly recommended. Ordinary usual fare and breakfast was so much better with warm friendly service. Great advice of surrounding area; totally enjoyed Salt Creek Falls which was recommended by staff!

    « Decent Hotel »

This was a decent stay. Clean room. Nice host and employees, bed could be more comfortable, breakfast marginal, hot tub and pool nice, bit overpriced for time of year and high vacancy. Good location, rooms quiet considering close to main road.

« Great MTN Bike Location »

We spent three nights at the BW in Oakridge. Room was clean and large enough to easily fit our bikes. The staff was very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised to have real eggs, sausage and waffles available for breakfast. The rooms are simple, but just what we needed. I will stay here again when we come back to bike. As for the biking, Oakridge has some amazing trails.

« Stop for the night between Crater Lake and Florence OR »

Late afternoon check in at this hotel on our drive from La Pine towards Florence OR. The hotel is older and is showing it's age. Hotel was still clean and safe feeling, but something just felt "off.". AC had issues throughout the night, but we were able to work it somewhat for the night by moving the table in the room and pushing back the curtains and securing them onto the window sill so that they did not billow out and trap in the cool air. AC stil had some issues, but at least changing this in the room helped a little. Water pressure in the bathroom was fine. Bathroom was tiny (toilet and bathtub). Sink area was outside of bathroom which helped out with 4 people in the room. The person at check in was very difficult to understand and we were dismayed to learn that the pool was closed (some kind of algae in it). The hot tub was available and was clean. My 10 year old was very disappointed as she had been looking forward to using the pool all day, but she was able to sit in the hot tub for awhile. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and complete with the standard full breakfast options for Best Westerns (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, various juices, toast, biscuits, bread, muffins, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes (tater tots), yogurt, fruit, etc. We were all easily able to find something to satisfy each person (including 1 with dietary restrictions). The morning hotel host was actually cooking the eggs fresh in a little kitchen off the breakfast room. The breakfast room is very tiny and off to the side of the check in/out room. There are few tables, so go early. Check out process was easy and the morning hotel host was very nice and had great suggestions for getting to Florence, OR. Please also note that children up to 17 are usually free at Best Western locations, but our oldest is 17 and we were told she was extra.

    « Clean and comfortable »

Bathrooms were very clean, rooms were very clean and tidy. Beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful in the breakfast area (they remembered that one of our party liked the coffee piping hot). The owners also suggested nearby waterfalls --- Salt Creek Falls and were very knowledgeable about the area. There was an excellent hot tub, just that the chlorine was too much. We even got a roll-away bed on very short notice --- nothing to complain about our stay.

    « Refreshing stop »

I'm a big fan of BW offerings, and the Oakridge Inn did not disappoint. (Loved the clean, well-maintained outdoor pool, for starters). The room was immaculate, the amenities up to snuff. We had a bit of trouble getting the TV to work, called the desk, and within five minutes, the manager showed up. Apparently, the cleaning staff had loosened the plug on the back of the screen while they were dusting it. Wait, dusting the BACK of the television? Apparently so, as the manager assured us. The breakfast area was especially enjoyable: a good assortment of the usual goodies but somehow better presented. A friendly, helpful staff member was present and available to help out. Again, the area was super-clean. Desk staff was especially helpful and friendly in helping me get a rebate chit hitched to my bill. A great night's sleep on the way to Oregon's Outback.

« Oasis in a very small town »

This is a very nice property in Oakridge. Oakridge is a small town west of Eugene in a wilderness area. It is the mountain bike capital of Oregon. I was very surprised to find such an up to daye hote. The rooms were large and well appointed, great pool and hot tub area. Free breakfast included in stay.

    « Exceeded expectations »

Our family group rented three rooms for two nights on our way to and from Crater Lake. We were pleased to find at check in that the rooms were together as we requested at reservation (request wasn't guaranteed and with no vacancy in any of the hotels we weren't sure the request would be accommodated). The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet - especially for a ground level location near stairs. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer in room. Our kids loved the pool and the teenager loved the wifi, having been without phone service on the car ride. The front desk clerk was very helpful, informing us of Salt Creek Falls on the way to Crater Lake, which we would have missed otherwise (it was well worth the stop). Delicious and complete breakfast served. Only two negatives - the beds were really hard and the air conditioner unit was noisy as it cycled on and off during the night (the second night we set fan to low and it was much better).

    « Nice visit »

Man on reception was friendly, welcoming and interesting. Room was all good , breakfast satisfactory. Small town so location not an issue. Mart next door and food outlet across road. No complaints. Would recommend.

    « Nice clean & modern hotel »

Definitely the place to stay in Oakridge. This hotel has been here awhile and has been full when I've been in town. It's a jewel for Oakridge, clean and spacious rooms, with reasonable pricing. My room had a very nice compact kitchen setup.

    « Cascade Mountains Experience »

We stay in a motel rather than camp at the high lakes campgrounds. This was an easy 35 minute drive to high lakes. There are good services in Oakridge that are not available in the mountains. Apparently a center for bicycling, trekking, paddling kayaks and canoes, and sight seeing. Short distance to the metropolitan area of Eugene (Go Ducks!). Drivable distance to Crater Lake and Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway.

« Nice stay on the way to Crater Lake »

I stay in a lot of Best Westerns and this one was great. We prefer small towns to stay in, so even though we flew into Eugene, we stayed here on our way to Crater Lake. All the employees were super friendly and we had a nice breakfast. The wifi worked well inside and outside near the pool. The room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    « A Nice Respite after a Long Drive »

The staff here are helpful and friendly, and Oakridge is a town with more amenities (shops, restaurants) than one will find within many miles if heading south on Hwy 58. A few issues: There were two beds in the room and my set of sheets were clean but had what looked like faded black ink stains. I didn't bother asking for new sheets. We unfortunately got the room above the laundry room, which clanked and rumbled all night long. Try to avoid this room if possible! Luckily for us, we were so tired that we managed to sleep through most of the noise. Nice breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room and I will repeat that the staff were wonderful.

« Musty room, poor service »

I felt quite disappointed by this Best Western. The front desk person sat away from the desk on his cell phone each time I went into the lobby. The room was musty and not well maintained. I have stayed at many Best Westerns and this was one of the worst

    « Mountain stop »

Oakridge is a small mountain town on route 58 close to the Willamette Pass summit. The Best Western provides a welcome stopping point between Eugene and route 97. It is a perfect place to stay if you are going to Crater Lake. Salt Creek Falls is about 30 miles east of Oakridge. They are a must see! The staff at the Best Western are knowledgeable about the area and are very friendly. We would stay there again.

    « Good overnight stop »

Check in was simple and fast which was nice after a long day and my host friendly and helpful. The room itself was a good size with plenty of room for everything and the bathroom about average for this type of accommodation. Everything was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable with a good selection of pillows to choose from.

« Pool refreshing! Stay here instead of Eugene. »

I was pleasantly surprised since this was in a small town. The room was very nice, quiet. I had reservations about the pool upon reading a previous review but it was sparkling clean when my granddaughter and I got in. The surroundings were picturesque and added to the outdoor vibe. The breakfast was very good and lots of it.

    « A very happy surprise! »

After plannng to stay in Eugene, but having not made reservations we called over 10 properties in Eugene thet were either sold out or offerings roms for exorbitant rates. The Oakridge Best Western was on our route so we called, secured a room for a reasonable rate and drove the extra 50 minutes to its location. I did not have high hopes for it as it was in a seemingly very rural area, and I was skeptical. SURPRISE surprise - property has been rennovated sometime within this century, was clean and people were very freindly and informative - giving us a tip on some hiking and waterfall viewing that we would not have known about and driven by otherwise. Breakfast was expansive and well appointed. A very happy accident - highly recommned getting out of the city and stopping here if it should happen to be on your route

    « Good People »

The entire staff at this hotel was extremely helpful helping me make and keep my reservations. The bed was comfortable and the room was quit, The staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Nampa Id. should take some lessons from these people.

    « Excellent stay! »

This hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is amazing! Actually, I believe they put out the biggest variety of food for breakfast that I've seen at a place that provides breakfast. The staff is kind and helpful, and will suggest places of interest to visit. I will definitely be staying here again!

    « A clean comfortable room »

In a small town, where other hotels/motels look scary, it was nice to stay at a Best Western that is well kept. It's an older building but still great. Directly across the street is a great burger joint that was recommended by the hotel staff.

« Vacation in Southeast Oregon »

It was a very, very nice place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall ambiance of this Best Western. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was nice and the breakfasts was fantastic. Way more than a continental style breakfast. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the dining and food prep areas. As I usually have breakfast near the end of the breakfast hours I have noticed dirty tables and food around and not in the warming trays. Not so with this Best Western - the tables were clean and so was the food area.

    « Informative staff »

We had reservations for two rooms and found them to be very nice. Upon checking in, we were told about Salt Creek Falls and again the following morning when we checked out. We decided to stop and see the Falls on our way to Crater Lake, and were glad we did - probably would not have stopped had the staff not mentioned it. We had planned to eat at a BBQ restaurant across the street, but it was closed. We were traveling on Monday and at least one restaurant was only open on weekends. We ended up eating at DQ which was ok.

« The pool was in a dangerous condition »

My family and I stayed there for 1 night in early June. We specifically stayed there for the pool. It was green to begin with--not a good sign. When we entered there were water bugs swimming around. There was no chlorine in pool whatsoever-a dangerous condition for a public swimming pool (I'm a Certified Pool Operator) I would know. I informed the front desk of the Pool condition and they contacted the owner. The pool was supposed to be shut down immediately, but the front desk did not and more people entered the pool with small children. This Motel needs to provide for the safety of their guests-they failed. I did speak with the owner the next morning about the pool. He had a list of excuses for the poor condition of the pool-none were good.

« Great free breakfast buffet »

We stayed one night in Oakridge on our way to Crater Lake. The stay was very agreeable. There was a heated Jacuzzi and a heated pool, unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of them. There was a mix up of the room numbers when we arrived, but that was quickly solved. There is nothing special with the hotel itself, but the room was nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was really good! There was a lot to chose from omelets, yogurt, bread, muffins, newly made waffles etc.

« Great Stay at the Oakridge Best Western »

We had a great stay at the Oakridge Best Western. The staff was awesome. They were very helpful. We had reserved two rooms. We arrived early and our rooms weren't ready. Gabby at the front desk had housekeeping start on those rooms right away. We didn't have to wait long at all.The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great. Nice selection of food.

    « Friendly & helpful staff »

We stayed just one night on our way through from Crater Lake to Portland. Room was clean & comfortable. We did not use pool or hot tub but both were open. Breakfast was good, especially the omelette. Staff very welcoming & helpful. We got some good tips on places to visit en route to Portland. Thank you.

« Great Stay with Excellent Service »

We stayed here for a mountain bike trip in Oakridge. Nayna, as the front desk, went out of her way during every shift we saw her to make sure we were taken care of. From cooking us fresh scrambled eggs in the morning (the mornings she wasn't there had microwaved pre-made omelets) to making sure we had enough towels after we returned from our rides, she did it all. Kudos to her to making our trip excellent.

    « overnight ski trip »

On way to Willamette Pass for Spring Break ski trip. Comfortable; clean; very friendly and helpful staff; enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Did not use the hot tub, but it was up and running. Easy to find right off of HWY 58. Several nearby places to eat. Hope to return this summer for some awesome mountain biking.

« Hot tub under the stars. »

Our stay @ this Inn was very nice.Clean, Warm, and the TV was at a good eye level. The breakfast was great, Lots of choices and friendly staff. We enjoyed the hot tub outside and would defiantly stay again.

    « excellant »

excellent-very clean--updated rooms-nice morning breakfast---good internet----would tell anyone I know to stay here---thank you-----would have loved to use your hot tub but got there to late-oh well maybe next time!

    « great location »

The location of this motel is in a great spot, can walk to a few places to eat. The traffic sounds can not be heard in the room. The rooms are comfortable and for the money you can not find a better deal. We have stayed there two different times and will definitely be back.

« Hot Tub in January »

The friendly and helpful staff is only part of the story. Not a lot of choice in Oakridge, but we were delighted by our stay. Gloomy January seemed delightful with a hot tub a few feet from our room. We were just settling in to the routine when it was time to leave after 3 1/2 days. We'll be back!

« Great little hotel and breakfast »

Nice place to stay. Breakfast had lots of options including eggs and sausages as well as the usual continental breakfast, so that saved us $50!! Manager was nice and pleasant to talk with. Would definitely recommend.

« Good Hotel and Friendly Staff »

I was on vacation and needed to stay at a hotel near Cascades Lakes Scenic Byway and this one had good reviews. I was glad I chose this one. The rooms was clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

« Good value, nice rooms, breakfast, pet friendly. I'd stay here again. »

I travel with my dogs so a pet friendly room is a must. They are great about having pets here. My room was a nice size, on the ground level, and near the end where I would be able to walk my dogs. The room is comfortable, clean, and has nice ammenties included. They have shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, etc. The heating and AC is easy to use for your own comfort level. There is a pool (seasonal) and a hot tub available. There is always coffee on in the lobby, and the continental breakfast is nice. When I was there they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cold cereal and milk, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and of course coffee and tea. The wi-fi service is good so I am able to work online in my room. I needed to extend my stay and they were gracious about giving me a later check out time. The parking lot is well lit so I felt comfortable walking my dogs after dark and in the early morning. Overall, I'd be confident in recommending this place for a night or a few days vacation. There are restaurants nearby, a grocery store in town, and the rooms have a fridge and microwave.

« The Best Oakridge has to Offer »

Room was very clean. Very quiet at night. They do have free breakfast but I stayed multiple nights and never saw any fresh fruit. The rates are reasonable. The hot tub is outside so it is only really usable during dry weather.

    « Our stay »

We were on our way to watch our granddaughter play some fastpitch ball for her college in Klamath Falls and wanted to stay mid way down. Glad we chose this Best Western Hotel. It was quiet, clean, breakfast was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

« Neat as a pin, and excellent breakfast included. »

This Best Western was an unexpected surprise in a small town known as a mountain biking Mecca. After a day of hard riding, we enjoyed the hot tub. The rooms were standard Best Western (nothing fancy, just clean and quiet), and the grounds were very nicely planted and maintained. Bar-b-ques were available on both levels for guests to use to cook up the fish they'd caught that day, or the steaks they'd brought with them, in case they didn't want to eat at the Brewers Union. The highlight was the breakfast (included in our room price) -- scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pastries, make-your-own waffles, and then the usual yoghurt and cereals.

    « Excellent + + + »

Clean rooms, friendly staff and delicious hot breakfast (wafflemaker, omelett, bacon,...)! We were there for just 1 night, but it was one of the best hotels we had on our whole roadtrip through the USA.

« Good motel in Oakridge, OR »

Stayed one night. The room was big and clean with comfortable two queen beds. A small microwave and fridge was a plus. Strong internet, very friendly staff! Would definitely stay there again. Good place for the price!

« Good choice in Oakridge »

My wife and I, in the area for hiking, stayed two nights with our dog. We had a kitchenette room, equipped with refrigerator, sink, stove, and microwave. The room was of good size and very clean. Towels were fresh and fluffy, not worn out. For breakfast we both had cereal and English muffins, but other choices were available. An adjacent vacant lot provided plenty of space for walking our dog. Road noise on Hwy 58 was noticeable during the daytime but didn't bother us at all at night.

« Don't judge from the outside on a dark and rainy night! It's clean and comfy inside. »

We had booked in here as we had visited Crater Lake from Bend. I had wanted to stay in Eugene, but there was no availability as it was the Friday before the Labor Day weekend. We were going on to Astoria the next day, so didn't want to be too far east of Eugene and anywhere too far west would have made a very long day's driving. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Bring your own provisions if you have a special diet or turn up late - there isn't a great deal of choice in the immediate area. When we got up in the morning the place was almost full due to a heavy snowfall the evening before. Inexpensive guest laundry $1 each for washer and dryer at time of writing.

« Probably the best in Oakridge »

Stayed here one night on a motorcycle road trip. Honest opinion, it's good enough. The room was clean and surprisingly the bed was really nice. Went to bed a little road weary, woke up feeling great. And that rarely happens! It is an older hotel and could use some renovations, but really it's not necessary. It's gotta be the nicest place in town, so who cares! :) There is a great little pizza joint, a burger joint and a bbq drive through within walking distance, so that was really nice. Overall, a pleasant stay, unless you ask my uncle. Apparently he stayed next to some newlyweds! ;)

« Good choice in Oakridge »

Because there are not that many choices in Oakridge, this is the best option. This is your average best western hotel, with basic rooms, standard amenities and standard breakfast one would expect from basic BW hotel. Rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful.
