« Great place to stay whilst at Inle Lake »

Very new hotel. Very big rooms and great bathroom. We had rooms with balconies which over looked the river. Very pretty but boats are noisy. They stop at about 8ish so not too bad and really is nothing compared to the ongoing car horns of Yangon. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great roof top bar. Food ok. Great location

    « Great location Hotel »

A small and cosy hotel located on the river bank on the entrance to Inle Lake. Its a 3 star hotel centrally located to get on a boat to visit Inle lake. The hotel is small well decorated 3 star hotel. The front office service is good but one have to speak slowly so that they would understand your request clearly. There is also one glass bubble elevator in the hotel. The rooms are large. I have to say the bed is very firm and so was the pillow. the room was clean. I must say the hotel service was good as my safe deposit box was not working and the hotel tried to fix it, in the end they carried the safe box away and replaced it with a new safe deposit box. The breakfast at this hotel is poor quality and no variety at all. Even the bread qaulity was poor. The only good point in this hotel is the location and the roof top bar where the view of the village.

    « Location a double-edged sword »

The hotel is well-appointed and the staff friendly and hardworking, but the location next to the boat canal is picturesque but nosiy boat engines wake you up starting at 4:30AM. The rooftop bar is a great place to watch the sunset and have a 2-for-1 cocktail.

« Good location. Good service. Nice room. »

I stayed two nights there. It is a 5 story building standing by the canal. It enjoys most gorgeous views of the canal, the town, and Inle Lake, especially from the rooftop bar. The staff was friendly and eager to help guests. The room was large and clean. Few things that need improvements are the tap water has a yellow tint to it (see photo), wifi is working great in the lobby but not much in the room, breakfast is only so so.

    « Super nice hotel - what a surprise »

When a friend recommended this hotel I was not at all interested. I mean who would go around the world to stay at a Best Western Hotel ? But this Myanmar guy was insistent and I was super surprised. It was really nice. Rooms are big and clean with lots of electrical outlets and even a couple USB ports (I think that's what they're called). They escorted me to my room and showed how everything works. They were nice and responsive and came right up to show me how to do the safe. Hotel is right on the waterway. Good water pressure. Centrally located. All great!! Breakfast was mediocre but so what. Have fruit and yogurt and don't complain. It's a good spot.

« Excellent hotel and good service »

This hotel is a must stay if you are in Inle Lake, Myanmar. Good things are great location, friendly staff, nice decoration, good service, spacious rooms, delicious food and cocktails at roof-top bar where we all can enjoy the beautiful sunset view of both Nyaung Shwe City and Inle Lake. I would say that everything about this hotel is quite amazing and a few improvements could be perfect.

« Perfect location, excellent sunset view from Roof-top bar, excellent staffs and service »

First thing I would like to say is this lovely hotel with amazing traditional-style furniture is situated at the best location in Nyaung Shwe City, Inle Lake. Rooftop bar is wonderful and I enjoyed food and cocktails ( there are happy hour and discount ) as well as enjoyed seeing a stunning view of river, mountain and Inle Lake. Staff are all friendly and keen to offer all kinds of service. Hotel facilities are quite fantastic and I really feel satisfied. In my point of view, this hotel is the best in Nyaung Shwe, Inle Lake and it is a very relaxing place to stay with families and friends.

« Nicely situated hotel with excellent amenities and excellent service »

First of all we were wowed by the beautifully chic modern Burmese decor when we got into the lobby. The room was great with an incredible view of the canal, the beds comfortable and the AC was silent, which if you have stayed in hotels for a whole month, is a great relief and blessing. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. They also helped arrange a boat tour with a good driver and our visit went smoothly. Lastly, they have late checkout available, a huge blessing. We definitely recommend staying here.

« We went for Drink only: Very nice view and fake [email protected] »

We came here for a drink for the sunset and it is a really nice view, right on the spot, view on the canal and mountains. People are really nice and friendly. Menu in US$ but you can pay in Kyats. One negative point is for the [email protected] Ok it is not how people make their choices for a place, however it is not a 2 for 1 when they serve you twice a half regular drink. (To bad because I took the same drink just before :-), I mean the regular one, easy to compare ).

« You will definitely be back to the this hotel again? »

This is a new hotel , spacious and comfortable and clean, the location is very good, the hotel staff cordial service attitude is very good, Especially in the Miss Nang Cho Kham at counter ,I was her sincere and earnest work attitude to be impressed, let me feel the efforts and enthusiasm in this country, for me personally, the hotel staff service attitude is the foundation of a good hotel, I hope the hotel can take her as an example, training more good employee like her . I'll come back to this hotel, because this is definitely a good hotel.

    « Great hotel »

The hotel is new so everything is fresh and shiny. It's a fancy hotel by Myanmar standards. The bathroom is western style, which I appreciated immensely. Spotlessly clean and comfy rooms, great location, friendly and helpful personnel - we enjoyed our stay at BW. The only downside is the breakfast buffet is not every day, you get to order à la carte.

« Nice Hotel in Nyaungshwe? »

We were booked into the Best Western Thousand Island hotel in Nyaungshwe by the tour company we used for our trip around Myanmar. The hotel is only a year old and is located right on the Strand Road, at the Northern end of Inle Lake. We had a suite, which had a sitting room and a huge main bedroom. The location of the hotel was fine, our room was excellent, the air con was great, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, as was the wi fi. We had a few drinks in the roof top bar on our last night, which was very enjoyable. The only drawbacks were that the bed was super hard (and I like a firm bed, but this was too hard), and because you are right on the water where the boats leave to go to Inle, it was very noisy early in the morning. Other than these two issues, I would have no hesitation staying here again, should I ever return to Nyaungshwe.

    « Beautiful decir »

I stayed in a deluxe balcony room recently with my 3 kids. The room was huge with 2 balconies and sitting room. They setup an extra bed in the sitting room and my oldest (12) was quite comfy there. We arrived at 5:00 am and were swiftly escorted to our room without extra early check in charges. The decor in the room was absolutely gorgeous as were the views over the water. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. In Myanmar, moreso than anywhere else I have travelled, you rely on hotel staff a lot more. It's very important for them to be helpful and be your go between with the non English speaking population. This hotel's staff went above and beyond. Location was great with many restaurants close by and walking distance to the boats. The only negative was that since there weren't many in the hotel the breakfast buffet wasn't setup. We ordered breakfast off a menu. Food was ok. I would definitely come back again.

« Rooftop bar with a great view »

This review is solely for the rooftop bar above the Best Western hotel. The rooftop bar is worth a visit for happy hour and for the view, especially at sunset. The rooftop has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is covered with a roof, so the bar is great rain or shine. The bar offers great views facing south (the canal towards Inle Lake) with some views east and west. The bar seems to be fully stocked. The price of drinks is definitely higher than other bars in the area. However, when I went the happy hour special was buy one get one free, so the prices ended up to be around the same.

« One of the best hotels in Myanmar »

Very nice staff and cool decoration. The views form its rooftop bar are amazing and its location is excellent. The breakfast is quite good and varied. As it is relatively new, everything is super clean. And I insist, the staff is lovely and they seem to know pretty well what they are doing. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Nyaung Shwe.

« It has my favourite bar »

every rooms have private bath and air condition even in the standard rooms , quiet lobby , feel like I am in a palace , beautiful people and friendly staffs . They are very helpful and sweet . I was really enjoy to see the lake

    « Excellent hotel »

I stayed at this hotel only for one night, after leaving another hotel on the lake early. This hotel is my Myanmar hotel highlight. It's located right on the river where all the boats to the lake depart. I chose the deluxe balcony room and definitely wasn't disappointed. My room was more like a suite, with a seperate seating area, dining table, aircon and balcony. The bedroom also had an air con, 2 balconies, tv and king size bed (albeit the rather hard Asian kind). I had a view directly over the river and could watch all the river comings and goings. Breakfast was great, plenty of options. The hotel has plenty of eating options in the streets nearby. The hotel staff were amazing, couldn't have been more helpful. The only possible downside for some maybe the noise of the boats-they're not exactly quiet (stopped around dusk, but fired up again around 5.30am. I loved this place-it was a much better option than a lake front hotel for me.

    « I'll be Back »

One of the newest Hotels in Town spacious Rooms , the Rooftop is Great, good View over the Lake i didn't see anything like that in Inle Lake so far.. I come back for sure, great for Budget and Huge Potential.

    « Nets »

The hotel is very stylish and attractive with transitional-style teak wood furnitures in the lobby and guest rooms. This Hotel also make the franchise from Best Western International which is American Hotel Chain. The hotel features riverfront cafe shop and rooftop bar where guests can enjoy the dazzling sunset view of Inle Lake while drinking the cocktails. This hotel is highly recommended.

    « Rating the Restaurant »

I did not stay at the property itself but it was in a great location and looked new. I did eat at the restaurant on the rooftop. This is a place to go for the sunset views! Menu was ok, food was good, service ok. Note that the prices were in USD$ and definitely geared toward the tourist pockets.
