Best Western Norwalk Inn

There were no roaches in the room at all! The sheets, towel was super clean and the bedding was most comfortable! There were bacon, sausage, eggs, bagels, waffles etc. available for breakfast. There were lots of parking spaces available. Our room was not along Firestone Blvd. and was quiet.

Easy check-in, pleasant room, breakfast is a nice amenity but the TV can be annoying when seeking programs and the internet was pretty much useless during our stay. Spoke to the front desk, and they said it was working.

The location is convenient and the room was clean. The breakfast area is a little crowded and the business next door is doing some work with major equipment, so it was a little noisy on the weekday; however, I don't think they started before 7:00 a.m. Our room had a window right on the walkway, so we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. I do think it's overpriced considering it's older, there was no microwave, and it's a little noisy even without the construction next door.

Location is great. They have over night security. Lots of shops and fast food restaurants in the area. Very close to the 605, 91, 10 and 5 fwy. The grounds area very clean. Plenty of parking. Your local Chevron gas station with in less than 5 minutes.

This is a nice low cost motel. It was clean and everything worked as expected. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. The motel was full and breakfast was a bit crowded but you could take food back to your room.

Checked in to a room with a low battery on the smoke alarm, called it in and was told it was supposed to be fixed the day before and that we had to be moved due to no one being available to fix it, which is fine things happen we had just gotten in, but we had to wait for my son to finishing bathing. They gave us another room, to our surprise walked in and the room was filthy. Went back to the front desk gentleman was nice and offered another room, but never did he apologize for our experience. Then the second night in the third room the tub was draining very slowly, but I didn't bother to call it in as it was the kids bedtime and only my husband was left to shower.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Norwalk, CA while visiting family. The staff was very helpful chick in and out and with questions during the stay. The best part of the stay was the fact that they cleaned the room every day. This is the first time that has happened since before the pandemic.

I'd like the breakfast the rooms were clean we also had parking on site. The pool was clean no smoking which was nice and there wasn't any. Homeless around the neighborhood we aleft in a timely manner which helped us.

Conveniently located by the freeway and amenities. We stayed the night due to bad weather, and the staff allowed us to check in a few hours early to get out of the rain. Our 2 queen bed room was spacious, beds were comfortable, room was clean. This BW serves breakfast, so convenient we didnt have to go anywhere. Highly recommend!

While the room was technically 'clean', it smelled like an ashtray. We left the window open to air it out while gone during the day, but it didn't help much. The whole place is just old and run down and could use a major update.

Hotel was very clean and I felt very safe there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Every aspect of the hotel (breakfast, laundry, swimming pool) was clean and I would absolutely stay there again! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we had trouble with the internet but other than that no issues whatsoever.

I have stayed at this hotel three times. Each time the room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. The staff is always avaiable, friendly, and make you feel welcome. The hotel is conveniently located and close to main interstates I will be staying here in the future when I am in this area.

Staff was friendly and quick to fix my issues. Carpet was damaged, sink stopper was damged in first room. Then a massive cockroach appeared which wasn't great. Staff moved me rooms, shower head in 2nd room was leaky/sprayed water out the side. Over all, yeah get what you pay for I suppose.

Right by the freeway, no noise, safe and outdoor pool. The best parking and security. We enjoyed ten day here and would stay again. When you can drive in and be in your room within minutes priceless. We will continue to stay here.

Best Western Norwalk Inn is a nice hotel. Its close to the freeway that brings you in 30 minutes to downtown LA or Beverly Hills. On the Firestone Blvd are enough places to eat or to do some shopping. The hotel itself is simple some as the swimming pool and breakfast. The rooms are big enough and the beds clean. The staff is very friendly.

I was very disappointed I paid $300 for two night stay, for that kind of money quality should've been present. A lot of details in the room that need a lot of attention please walk through every room test everything to insure customer satisfaction.

Carpets tend to be dirty. Bring Lysol clean-wipes and clean down room surfaces and toilet thoroughly. Make sure the tub/show drains empty quickly; the same with the sink drain. Rewards Members "AT THIS LOCATION" no longer recieve goodie bags with snacks, gifts, ect. Now you only get a warm bottle of water...BIG DEAL! Noisey location with traffic from the freeway and police sirens at night!

Awesome place to stay with your kids/family very clean and had 1 problem and it was other people who stayed there went to the pool with my kids and they were smoking weed and blasting their music like no one else was there. Other than that a security at all hours I would recommend to management.

From this location we were able to stay an extra day visit the Cemetary, see family and Dodgers Stadium (18 minutes away). Great Location! Nice Pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast included. Very informative front desk help with directions and recommendation for the best Haircut I've had in my life right down Firestone. "Angie's" Ask for Elizabeth, but I'm sure any of these Ladies are great. I almost fell asleep. I would've paid more too.

Needed a place to stay overnight for the purpose of catching a cruise out of Long Beach the following day. We do these one or two times a year abut keep running into the same issues. Either the hotel/motel is in a nice area, clean and well maintained but very expensive or affordable but rundown and in a bad neighborhood. This Best Western is about 30-minutes from the port, clean, well maintained and in a good neighborhood! I would definitely recommend it.

Loud noise from room next door. I reported it. And little to nothing was done over it. I had to woke the next morning at 5:00am and was up to roughly 3:00am with the noise from next door. Walls are thin. I am very disappointed.

We love staying here and we have never be disappointed. The staff is great and Front desk Receptionist, Cerely was especially helpful in regards to the signing up for the Best Rewards programs and bow I can get my points added to my account

This is a great location to stay. easy to get to down town with Many routes to choose from. The rooms are of good size with level entry especially if you book a non accessible room. Stayed on third level at street view and was not to noisy as cars drove by.

Ants in first room coming out of bathroom corner, moved to another room, still had an ant or two coming out of the same location. There were also scraps of food, and socks leftover from the pevious guests. The cleaning crew isn't given enough time to properly clean the rooms. There was visible dust in the cupboard shelves in both rooms. The jacuzzi outside was so full of chemicals that it burned my eyes within a minute. It was also barely warm. The room amenities themselves were fine, everything worked well, except the alarm clock, but we never use that. The overall facility is in fair shape, they just need a professional exterminator and a proper maintenance crew to get it in acceptable order for a name brand hotel.

Very quiet..I. Love quiet...the jacuzzi is open which was very nice..the staff was very nice and accommodating..I requested a late check out..n they gave me an hour...parking is nice there...accessible to stores u can walk to .

The beds smelled of mold of something worse. We were moved to three different rooms, all had the same smell, which staff indicated may be from “spraying the mattresses” two weeks prior. Cockroaches in the room and hallway. Tubs did not drain well.

We booked this hotel based on the images that were posted on the hotel's website for a two-night stay recently. On arrival we found the premises were very poorly maintained and in dire need of a really good clean. It always amazes me why hotel owners/managers show very little pride in the appearance and upkeep of their investment. Are they ignorant to the theory that if the premises are attractive and well-priced, custom will come? Obviously not in this case.

Hotel room was clean, when we arrived the person working the lobby let us know that some channels on the tv weren't working and they didn't let us check out late because they're “short staffed” right now but over all was a good hotel to stay at clean and nice, I would stay again!!

not clean bad odor , maybe they need to add air fresheners. and carpet powders , every other Best Western I have stayed has been excellent so I was disappointed. This will not stop me from staying with Best Western I love there other locations

Location is good. Waked up few times during the night, due to noise, someone was walking upstairs, in the room above. It seems very poor sound insulation. Also the fridge had very loud noise. You can hear the water sound, when next door using the shower. The breakfast was bellow expectation. I understand it's continental and due to COVID-19, but the sandwich was cold and taste was bad. The carpet really smelt bad. The hotel looked old and I think time for reno and change the smelly carpets.

Top notch hotel and a good value. Room was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as required. Not too much street noise. Did not use the internet so I cannot comment on it. I would recommend this hotel.

The Norwalk team does a good job every time. Friendly staff that recognizes my husband and reminds us when it's been a while since they last saw us. Extremely professional as well as the cleaning staff.

Excellent location, near shopping, numerous eating spots and businesses. The staff was great and helpful,, lobby and room areas clean, breakfast selection was awesome! No complaints in my recent stay there of eight (8) days.

The hotel is in a great location walking distance to variety of restaurants stores and fast food the staff is extremely friendly and courteous the rooms look like they've been freshly remodeled comfortable bed and I excellent breakfast

When checking into a hotel, I expect to be treated professionally. It is totally inappropriate to have the clerk's teenage daughter laughing it up when she hears a guest's name. This immature behavior reflects poorly on the hotel. If the night clerk cannot do her job without having to babysit an immature teenager, then the clerk should look for another job that doesn't require courtesy and professional behavior.

Have stayed at this Best Western, Norwalk for about 8 years . It is the best value around for Downey, Norwalk area . Great location ., right off the 605 Freeway on Firestone Blvd . Restaurants and shopping is near by.

I stayed for a personal family business trip. I was very happy with everything. The room and the staff and all amenities were just enough to make for a quality hotel stay. I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

This Hotel is great to stay at. My favorite is sure staybBest Western in Buena Park CA. These will be the next on my list . Both are convinces to travel & eating a establishment .Norwalk is awsome with the staff members that I have came to meet

In my first California trip, I was very impressed about being often in hotels the middle of nowhere, in that case in the Los Angeles area; if this part of the world is really like that, then you are fine. Nothing to do in the evenings, apart some small commerces. With no car forget about everything. Rooms were correct though, breakfast as well.

Stayed one night (10/20/2019) 9in Deluxe King Room (301). Room was clean enough, bed was comfortable and shower worked well. Some road noise, but it did not disturb our sleep. breakfast was good, although breakfast room was a bit small. Wold stay again.

The current arrangement of smoking/non-smoking rooms is unsatisfactory. We had a non-smoking, but the folks next door had a smoking room, and they did. Because the rooms are adjoining, we could smell the smoke through the door. If we wanted to smell smoke, we would smoke. Other than that, the stay was fine. Not terrible, not spectacular. Average.

Usually check in during early afternoons , Yvette at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure your taken care of ....Quiet, Pool and Spa are always clean. Speedy check out.. would recommend if your in the area..

My Sisters and I were in town for my Nephrew's wedding and we did not know the area well. The check-in person, Debra, was awesome and had no problem letting us check-in when we arrived early. We had been on a 2 day roadtrip to get there and we were exhausted. When our coffee maker did not work or we needed extra supplies for our room, we got what we needed right away. The room was really comfy and A/C was great and kept the room very comfortable, since it was very hot the day we arrived in Norwalk. The breakfast was great. I have been to Best Western PLUS hotels and the food at this regular Best Western was just as great. The selection was full of choices and I found lots of things to fill me up.

This Best Western was very neat and clean. looked very fresh. Everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. The location was right off 605, very easy to get too. We woul stay at this location again. The price is right!

This place is just plain horrible. The rooms are dated, beds are horrible. While the convenience to the freeway is awesome, that is where the good ends. Our A/C was set at 60, but kept shutting off within minutes. Repair was supposedly made, but night 2 was as hot as the 1st. Night 3 we were moved to another room with a crappy a/c. The management could care less. Sheets never changed. Place is dirty and dingy. Please heed the warnings if comfort means anything to you. At the price I paid, we deserved much better. There is virtually nothing good about this place.

Bed mattress was too firm and stiff as well as the bath towels. Couldn't use the in room coffee maker due to the coffee filter holder was missing. Overall the room was very clean and the atmosphere was very quiet. I personally think if Best Western would upgrade there mattress to a pillow top type and provide softer bath towels in conjunction with using a checklist to assure all amenities are in working order that are provided in the rooms, that more people who travel because of work would stay at a Best Western more frequently.

we enjoy staying here several time a year either for business and family time always very clean and staff very helpful and always trying to go that extra mile to male your stay pleasent clean room , bed very comfortable breakfast with many choices

The hotel is quite convenient and some shopping malls around. The ladies of the front desk, breakfast room and housekeeping are quite nice and helpful. The breakfast is not bad but if more choices are recommended.

We had 4 nights at Best Western Norwalk. The area to stay was very good as all amenities were near and only a 20 minute commute to LA. The room was dated but very clean as was the hotel itself. The staff were helpful and kept the breakfast stocked I'd a little bit small for diners. The only downside was the traffic around and in the LA area, I've never seen so much and you have to add on around an hour onto any journey.

love this place been staying here for quite sometime now. everytime i visit this is my hotel to come to the staff are very professional. norwalk is one of my favorite cities to come and visit. i totally recommend

Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere. The mattress was old and worn out. Pillows looked like tiny throw pillows. Closet door only opened part way. They were sliding doors that were too wide for the closet.

I always return to this location because the saff is great and it is reasonably priced with discounts. I've tried to stay at less expensive places but they don"t compare to the comfort of a reasonably price Norwalk Inn.

We needed to make reservations to stay overnight for a dance competition & of course the host hotel was booked. I've stayed many times at Best Western so didn't think this was a bad choice. However, upon checking in at 11 p.m. I was shocked to find that the room at this Best Western was stale smelling and very outdated. Parking for the hotel is not very sufficient. I had to return to the clerk to find out where exactly our room was situated so we knew where to park. There was a couple fighting in the parking lot and didn't make my family feel very safe in this area. I was very disappointed in this stay.

Beautiful safe location, close to Knotts Berry Farm & Universal. All of the staff was great especially Debra on the front desk! Yummy breakfast includes hot & cold options. Would definitely stay again!

I loved staying at this hotel. I have been here twice now, and will definitely be back in the soon future. I love how big the shower is, and the shampoo they supply smells pretty good. I usually get a room with a refrigerator and microwave to and bring my own food. I also love how much more comfortable there bed are then mine. Laying down and falling asleep quickly is a huge risk lol. I highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room and property were clean and well kept. Love the white linens and bed spread to ensure cleanliness. Breakfast options were many and all good! We will stay at this location again!

My daughter feared we were too close to the highway not to be bothered by the noise. Actually the only noise that bothered us was a night of thumping neighbors. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cleanand fresh, the rate was fantastic. Would definitely return.

Excellent place to stay at a reasonable price. I arrived at 3:30AM and they greetede by name and offered wake up calls, delaying room cleaning or anything else I needed. Location is convenient walking distance to a number of food, shopping and a mini golf/go cart place

The front desk staff could not have been more efficient, more helpful, or nicer.The room experience itself was not up to this establishment's usual standards. It felt like I could hear everything in every adjacent room, plus, on my last morning, a smoke detector beeped a low-battery warning every 2 minutes starting about 6 am.The jacuzzi was warm but not hot. BW Norwalk is usually better than this. I'll give them a mulligan for this stay.

We had pre-booked a room here, but when given the room we found, by accident, they'd not booked us a Handicapped Room, which I needed. Stephani who was handling the desk that night, went out of her way to call & check for a Best Western not to far away with a Handicapped Room for me, which was so appreciated. So, would highly recommend them, just by the service we were given.

Room was well appointed and comfortable. Bed was perfect. Hotel staff was all top notch. This is a great location and good value. It was convenient to expressways amenities and my business location. Fast check in and out.

Very pleasant stay. Staff is great it was clean and had breakfast. There is a pool so my grandchildren were entertained. Very close to shopping and great access to the freeways. Not far from the beach and some of the attractions LA has to offer

The price was good for the stay One reason my family and I stay at Best Western hotels is because of price and the reward points program. I highly recommend staying at Best Western Hotels PLUS instead of regular best western.

Best Western Norwalk Inn provided the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and reliable stay that is the norm for the franchise. Check-in was easy and quick and the front desk attendant was kind to ask us for a room preference. The room itself is smaller but had all that was needed for a good night's rest, including comfortable bedding, table, microwave and bar fridge. Being on the ground floor, there was some foot traffic upstairs (walls are a bit thin) as well as outside, which would be expected for an outside-entry accommodation. Breakfast selection was good the morning after, including waffle machine, yogurt, fruit, cereals, breads, assortment of juices, coffee and hot items such as eggs, potatoes and sausages. Overall though it was a great stay. The value proposition if pricing were to remain competitive is strong, and the rating on Tripadvisor is accurate and indicative of the experience you will receive. My BF and I always enjoy our stay at a best western hotel. The Norwalk in was a pretty decent hotel: Good/average breakfast, pool, internet. It was pretty much middle of many desnitantions (whether it be east or west [ex, Disneyland or Santa Monica pier]). It was close to the freeway, and other food places near by. Staff were really friendly as well. I would have given this place a 4/5 BUT my bf and I ran into some bug problems at the room we stayed at. On the first night we stayed, there were a couple dead bugs on the corner of the room. We didn't really mind it a whole lot since the layout of the hotel was a little strange. Anyways, the first night was fine but the next day when we woke up our legs were quite itchy. As the day progressed, my bf and I ended up with tracking bug bites on our legs. We ended up showing the front desk staff. The lady who we spoke to was very kind. However we were not given an option to move to a different room as there were no other rooms left available but we were given extra bed sheets to change. The manager was notified but that was it. There were no follow ups from the hotel or anything. I hope this room in particular gets looked at. Aside from the bug issue it was pretty ok.

Went up to go to Hollywood and had to look this far out to get a fair deal on a hotel. The room was big and clean, the beds were comfortable. The hotel was quiet and near many places to eat and the freeway for easy access. Missed out on using the pool and Jacuzzi but it looked very inviting. Breakfast was good but everyone must have thought so because the room was very crowded. I would stay again.

Hotel was centrally located and had all the amenities you could ask for. It was close to the freeway and close to other necessities like drug stores, restaurants, etc..... The grounds were kept up and the pool was devine.

The room itself was well kept, it smelled clean. The area itself was a good safe area, busy street near many stores. Location wise it was on point, and right of the freeway which was convenient. Overall I had a good stay, I would definitely recommend and return to this location in the future.

Very clean, nice staff, quiet location. Noticed a couple movies and music videos were taped around there as well. Would definitely look into staying here again in the future. Also got for a great price as well.

Stayed for 5 nights during a vacation trip in LA. Hotel is decent, with free internet connection and breakfast. Wifi was good and breakfast average for the fare. The breakfast room was small but patron's rotation was high, allowing to fastly find a seat. Room was renovated with a large bathroom. It has all the essential, such as a flat screen TV, standard amenities, a coffee machine and a small fridge. Location is convenient, with a Target, 7 Eleven, Wallgreens nearby. Distance to Disneyland, Hollywood, Santa Monica was acceptable (around 20 miles). Although my room faced the parking lot, all nights of sleep was good. Front desk was efficient and friendly. No complains at all for the cost charged (around $80/night).

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed at the Bestwestern Norwalk Inn June 13-16. We were visiting friends in the area and this hotel had better reviews than most. First the good. The young lady (I wish I could remember her name) who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area is ok on Firestone but I wouldn't walk around at night especially off the main drag. Now the bad, these rooms are not quiet. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. And by everything, I mean the stuff you put a pillow over your head to drown out the noise. We also could hear complete conversations. Most importantly, and this is why I'm writing the review, at about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday the 16th I woke to find our hotel door open! The only thing that stopped it from being completely open was the metal plate that acts as a “chain” The dead bolt was off too. I was very OCD about bolting and using the plate even during the day. Two females traveling alone, you have to be careful. My first thought was, maybe I didn't get the door latched all the way. My daughter and I both tested the door to see if it could appear shut and but not latched. This door was either open or closed. Also, since the doors lead to the outside we would have seen light come through from the lighted walk way. At around 8:30 a.m. I went to the front desk to report it. Debra from the front desk pointed the finger at me saying I probably didn't shut the door all the way. She made several defensive remarks about their staff (which I never accused). She basically said I could call the manager on Monday and ask him to look at the surveillance video. I told her that she should have insisted the manager call ME and that she made me feel like I was the bad guy. The manager called me Monday morning. He asked me if I had shut the door completely *sigh* I repeated what I told his front desk staff, the door is open or closed. I told him to go try it himself. Then he said “I understand this happened at 6:30 a.m. but you didn't report it until 8:30 a.m.” (again, I'm in the wrong) I informed him that anyone who tried to open the door was long gone by the time I woke up. Next he said that he didn't see anything on the video around 6:30 a.m. I told him I didn't know what time it happened, I just woke up to it at 6:30 a.m. to find it open. My guess is it happened in the middle of the night when it was dark. We ended our conversation with him saying he would keep an eye on the room?! And that he was sorry this happened to me. I honestly don't think they want to know the whole truth because it would look bad for their hotel. He should have said he would look at ALL of the surveillance from that night. I did some research and found a recent article on Forbes that shows tech savvy people can make a master key for hotel electronic locks. I feel like we were targeted because we were two females. I will never stay in another hotel with an outside entrance nor at this hotel again.

This is just your average hotel. As a diamond select member I expect some acknowledgment. It was like going to the dentist, everything i wanted to know i had to pull out of her. If you are looking for an average place this works, don't expect more.

We attempted to stay here with our soccer team this past weekend and checked out immediately after seeing our room. The sheer curtains on the entire first floor are hanging up shredded, you see this right when you pull up. Only the lobby has been redone, none of the guest rooms. The carpet is stained, thinning, and trashed. There was black debris blowing out of the ac unit and a pile of it under the unit. The mattresses were stained. The entire hallway and room smelled of mold and must. I have no clue how this hotel has outstanding ratings as it needs to be closed and gutted.

We just stayed one night but check-in & check-out were speedy and the room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast had plenty of options and tasted good. I tried to leave a short & concise review but it is insisting that I use at least 200 characters.

Visiting for a bowling tournament- great location relative to the bowling lanes and great freeway access. Good value for the price. Clean and comfortable room. Appreciate having a hot breakfast as well- nothing fancy, but more than adequate.

I needed a hotel for a few nights, and I wanted to stay near my friends in Santa Fe Springs. The Best Western fit my budget, and based on other reviews, I decided to give it a chance. This hotel may not be near the big attractions in LA County, but that was fine with me. I did not have a car this trip, so I was concerned about what was within walking distance for a bite or other on-site needs. Again, this hotel did not disappoint. Located next to a luxury car dealership and a self-storage facility, the nights were quiet, except for occasional road noise, which is possible anywhere. Check-in was quick, and Daphne was very friendly. My room was on the second floor near the front. My room was clean, quiet and secure, which is what I want in a hotel room. The building itself appears to be a few years old, but the hotel recently underwent extensive remodeling. The lobby, breakfast room and particularly my room were all clean and up to date. Breakfast each morning had scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, waffles, cereals, fruit and pastries. The breakfast area was maintained well and was always clean. What's nearby? Plenty if you have to walk. A drugstore, convenience store, grocery, discount store with just about everything, and several restaurants. A little farther are more options, plus a Costco. In my reviews, I save a full five stars for outstanding stays. My 4 is an A. My 5 is an A+. This Best Western has earned the A+ for my own personal convenience and the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel. I will stay here again. (CS)

The staff were friendly. The breakfast has a variety of options....eggs, potatoes, sausage, danishes, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, make your own waffles, and oatmeal. The rooms were clean. The beds were a little hard, but okay. We have stayed here several times and I believe it is a good hotel for the price.

Very nice hotel very peaceful and I could see my car from my room I liked that the housekeepers were friendly and the room was nice. Lydia checked me in and out and I talked to her for a long time she was very sweet and nice and I have been thinking a lot about what she said and I am very glad I got to meet her and share stories I appreciate time spent with her. And Nubia was a sweetheart I needed an extra blanket and they didn't have any so first she was gonna get me one so right away as I'm leaving the front desk I see her leaving too and she was on her way to the laundry room for my blanket she was ON IT but then they didn't have any dry so she called my room right away to let me know the situation and tell me she was gonna dry one then bring up to me and she did! Which I know took hella effort and she was the only one there it wasn't late I appreciated it very much! And I believe her name was Alexandria or Alexis I think Alexandria though she was a night auditor and I talked to her in the lobby for a while at night I was asking for insight from someone who has lived in Los Angeles for a while and knows their ins and outs and she definitely did and she was very sweet. You guys have a great staff and a great hotel

My favorite hotel of choice when visiting the LA area. Since my first visit in 2015, this hotel has continuously updated their rooms and exterior. The last update to the rooms just completed a year ago while the exterior was just recently repainted. The pool and spa are lovely and secluded away from the street. Vending and soda machines on the first and second floors. Self laundry always comes in use as my stays range from 2-5 nights on business. I've always chosen the King bed business suite as it sits in an interior hall with a window that overlooks Firestone Blvd. Several stores and food options across the street. Norwalk is a great halfway point location for visitors wanting to get the full LA experience and also visit Long Beach to the south. The Green Line metro rail is just a few blocks away. I've uploaded several pics and also created a YouTube video “Best Western Norwalk Inn Business Suite.” Lastly, this hotel is the best value in the area and family friendly. Full morning breakfast included.

Breakfast was pretty good offering.. hot and cold selections. Access to the hotel is pretty easy off of 605. The area seemed okay, but not sure I would walk around at night, but I think it's overall safe. It's surrounded by high-end car dealerships, but further on down Firestone there a variety of eateries and grocery options. Parking is adequate.. room was fairly clean but did have a funny smell near the bathroom. Lighting was abysmal - I would strongly recommend more lighting and furniture in the rooms, based on my double anyway. Had a room in front by the street - if you are bothered by street noise, ask for a room in the rear - it's pretty noisy! I stayed there long enough to get used to it. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Price was reasonable. It's an outside access hotel with 3 floors, but it does have an elevator that moves fast enough. Microwave and Fridge worked fine.

It started at check in. I booked an accessible room with bathtub. I specifically ask clerk to please give me a room away from noise since we are not early risers. She puts me in a room that seems ok. What a surprise when 7am comes and we are jolted out of bed by screaming kids and banging tables and chairs right next door! I look outside my door to find that we were placed right next to the breakfast area full of amped up kids getting ready to go to Disney or whatever. R u kidding me? So, I immediately call front desk and repeat my request for a QUIET room. This clerk apologizes and gives me another room. This one is a double queen away from noise just like I asked for in the first place lol. Later that night I notice poorly dressed people wandering the parking lot smoking. At the time I assumed they were staying there and just stepped out for a smoke. During my stay I decide to go for walks to exercise since they have no fitness area. Much to my alarm, about a block from the hotel, I see a large homeless tent city under the interstate. They wandered the area on foot, skateboard and bike throughout my entire stay. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Some were obviously under the influence of various substances and talked or yelled to themselves or imaginary enemies as they wandered. No security on site. No Gate. Also had items taken from my room by housekeeping during my stay. Luckily value was under 50 dollars as I always keep anything worth more locked in my car. Power surges and brief outages during my entire stay as well. Building is run down and needs extensive repairs. The icing on the cake occurred today. I was booked through Sunday Morning 1/28 check out. When I was offered a new room I SPECIFICALLY and CLEARLY told the woman at the desk that I booked an extra day in a different type of room than the one she put us in and would prefer to not have to move. She said it would not be an issue. Around 1230 as I am getting ready to leave to go spend the day at Venice Beach, the phone rings. I pick up and she asks when we are coming down to get they keys to move to our new room. WHAT???!!!!!. She says that she needs our room and since we originally booked a different room type that we will now have to move? Despite my arguments and the fact that THEY LIED about me having to move the manager would not budge and insisted that we move or else. I ask if he is threatening me and he says nothing. I tell him to just cancel my last day and authorize a refund since honestly I wish I would have never booked this nasty dump in the first place and really wanted to leave and go somewhere else anyway. I will be contacting Best Western Corporate when I return from my trip. I cant even believe this place is a best western. If they came and actually saw this place they would be embarrassed. I travel extensively and have been spending an average of 60 days a year staying in hotels for many years and have never seen anything that even comes close to this train wreck.

I had a meeting in Whittier and didn't know the area. Shopping on line and guessing on location, quality and price, I gambled on the Best Western. I turned out to be clean, well lit in the room, with an adequate free breakfast and free wifi. You have to drive to find something for dinner but other than that, it was great for a road warrior. Oh, and the parking is free. Pleasant, friendly staff at the counter at both check in and check out. There's a FedEx office straight down Firestone street a mile and a half away for last minute copies etc.

I have paid more for other hotels and the service was not nearly as good. The staff is very accomodating. The room was clean, newly renovated and quiet. Breakfast more than met expectations. Shopping, restaurants everything was nearby. Access to computer. I was able to print boarding passes free. I will stay there again. - Tom and Earnestine- Memphis TN

This place was satisfactory for the price. It was kind of outdated, but got the job done for a one night stay. Not a lot in the area, but easy access to the fwy. The room did have a fridge and microwave.

We stayed there for 5 nights. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff was friendly. We stayed on the first floor, I don't know if the walls were not sound proof or the next door people were too loud, there were times that we could hear their whole conversation. Besides that we had a pleasant stay. If you are looking for a decent, economic hotel and close to attractions this place is perfect!

This hotel has easy access to freeway and shopping. I was surprised at how nice it was. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The entire room was very clean and updated. Nice shower as well. I will stay here again as I'm often close to this area for work.

The hotel is 1 block east of the 605 freeway for those who drive. For those who fly in from LAX, this hotel is close to the Norwalk Station which is the light rail line connecting LAX. The hotel is also within walking distance to the nearest strip mall, which is 1 block east of the hotel.

This Best Western was in a convenient location, close to the freeway. We rented a room with a single king bed and it was spacious. It had a small frig and microwave. It also had an iron and hair dryer. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

My wife and I live in the valley and were visiting family in Downey for Thanksgiving. Because we have 2 toddlers, thought it would be best to stay a couple of nights nearby as opposed to driving 80 miles, round trip for 3 days in a row. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. Front desk was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel served breakfast from 6:00am - 9:30am. Didnt' use the pool, but was a nice option. One of the best features is that it is right next to the 605 freeway. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a good value southeast of downtown Los Angeles. If you have a car, you can get around to many places. The room was very quiet and clean. I enjoyed the amenities such as the lobby computer. It would be nice to stay in the summer when the outdoor pool water is warmer. I felt safe during my stay.

Wife and I went to the Katy Perry concert in LA/Staples Center and this hotel is right next to the 605 freeway and a mere 30 minutes to the venue. Overall the room was clean, spacious, well decorated with everything working properly and good internet. Price of the room on a Friday night was a welcome to my wallet. Office staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend this property and would return again in the future.

Clean room and everything in working condition. Room smells a little bit stale, turning on the air conditions helps to clear the air. Breakfast is good has the basic usual selection. Reception and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Hotel location is close and convenient to the 605 freeway. Has 1 washing machine and 1 dryer both cost $2 each to run and both run for about 30 mins. I wouldn't mine staying here again.

Very friendly staff that went out of their way to assist when asked. The hotel has the old motel look with doors to the parking lot. The room was clean and fairly new furnishings. Extremely easy access to the 5, 105 and 605 highways. Plenty of places to eat within a few miles and, even though it was close to the 605, quiet. The rates were extremely affordable and travel to and from the office was painless. I did not have the complimentary breakfast because of timing, Parking was close although the spots were rather tight,

I recommend Bestwestern in Norwalk. Staff very courteous and friendly. I stay there once of year. It's close to everything. Price is right! Breakfast was great. The dining area was very clean and the ladies in the diner were very nice

Family with 9 and 6 year old were very happy with overall experience of this hotel. Stores close by, walk to room was close to parking, felt safe the whole time. To top off pool was awesome. We will stay again in southern california.

Good hotel for business trips; very convenient location and good price for amenities. Very clean and comfortable bed, dining table and 2 chairs part of the room. Updated bath. Loved everything about our stay! It was a weekend stay for my family. The rooms were clean and spacious! From check in to check out; swift. The breakfast was geeat! Waffles, bagels, eggs etc.. i will return for future family events in the Norwalk, Ca area and stay at this same hotel.

I've stayed here before and I would stay here again. It has everything I need and is reasonable in its cost. It has breakfast, internet, free parking, an outdoor pool which is nice to use on a hot day!

We have stayed for 2 nights to explore LA and it was in a good location only if you are travelling with a car. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed was quite big and also very comfortable. The bathroom (shower) was a bit outdated, although tidy and clean. The breakfast was very simple, nothing special. Good 3 star hotel.

This is an older but nicely refurbished hotel. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful women that acted like she was glad to see us and happy we were staying at this hotel. The WiFi was faster than most places we have stayed. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was good, although I would have liked it better if they offered biscuits and gravy like they do in some of the BW hotels.The scrambled eggs and sausage were good. They also had lots of other stuff. We were on the third floor, but they have an elevator. If we needed a place in this area again we would stay here and also recommend it to others.

Because this is a popular hotel for various youth sports teams, it is always noisy. We always ask for a quiet room, but it ends up around the pool, so it's noisy until the pool closes, late into the evening. Otherwise, this is a reasonably priced hotel when we drive through I-5, through Los Angeles area.

We stayed here 5 nights. The first night was great, check in was a breeze, room was nice, lots of towels...2 suitcase stands...it was perfect! Second day our beds were made, toiletries replenished and looked as though only the dirty towels were removed and bath mat, hand towels were replaced, no issue as we had 2 bath towels still. Third day our beds were made, shampoo was replenished and bath mat, 2 bath towels and 2 face cloths and a hand towel was replaced. Fourth day, beds were made, toiletries replenished, 2 bath towels were left, 2 hand towels and 2 face cloths. We used a hand towel as a bath mat. Husband had to go ask for towels as we wanted to use the pool and spa. Fifth day...our room was not touched! We had to go ask for towels, toiletries, plastic and paper cups! Highlights of our stay was the breakfast offered and the beds were comfortable. Staff really weren't helpful when we inquired about directions anywhere...no one seemed to know much, including immediate  surrounding areas! We needed to take public transit for an event we were trying to get to and no one was able to point us to the right direction of the bus stop let alone knew where where we were headed. Thank goodness for Google Maps and Nav! Only restaurant offered for takeout/delivery was in the Best Western handbook when in actually there are a few places in the area! We ordered pizza the first night and it was ok. My husband and I are both kinda on the fence if we'd stay here again.

Quality stay that I can recommend. Everything was clean and up to date, a full parking lot and a great continental breakfast room that included eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, a wafflemaker, and essentially everything you can ask for in a breakfast. The room was big and clean with all amenities. The air conditioner was a little wonky but that's essentially my only complaint. The location isn't horrible but you'll need a car if you're planning to explore the LA or Anaheim areas. Wifi was included and worked well.

Very nice Motel. Recently remodeled rooms. Nice pool area. Plenty of parking. Convenient location. The have a hot egg and sausage breakfast along with continental items. The beds and bedding are very nice.

Comfortable beds, good location close to many stores and restaurants, nice staff. Costco and Target very close by. Recently updated rooms. Mediocre internet speed which varies by time of day. Easy, free parking.

We have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting family in the area. The staff has always been friendly and the rooms have been clean. They have a free breakfast with things such as eggs, sausage, hash-browns, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, make your own waffles, fruit, muffins, and danishes. We would stay there again.

Clean, economical and great service. I use this motel whenever I'm in town and I'm very happy. The rooms are cleaned daily. Fresh breakfast ready at 6:00 am. It has a washer and dryer available, and a pool with jacuzzi. Very orderly and the bed is comfortable.

We were in Los Angeles in august 2017. The Best Western Norwalk inn was perfect. We enjoy the room and the breakfeast. The localisation was perfect. It was quiet, clean and everything was OK. i RECOMMAND THIS PLACE FOR FAMILY.

This is an older Motel Motif that is very well managed and the entire staff is well mannered, very cordial and helpful. The breakfast is a very good choice and the room was very clean! I will stay here again in the future!

Check in was fast. Room was ready when I got in. Front desk was courteous. Breakfast was better than expected with a good selection of choices. Small negative but it did not affect my stay: tv remote did not work (room 203) However I was able to use buttons on the tv to navigate it. Also wish there would be tea bags in the room - only coffee provided. On a weekday from airport takes an hour and a half with the horrible traffic. To downtown is about an hour. On a weekend or very late at night it is no more than 20 minutes. Would stay again.

After the nightmare on reserving our travel agency created, the staff at the hotel was wonderful to help us out. The room/hallways/breakfast, etc. were all very good. The bed wasn't as great as our, but whose is? We would definitely stay here again.

I have to say, there really wasn't anything to complain about. The room was very clean and the entire hotel was too. They offer a great complimentary breakfast each morning that includes meats, eggs, and potatoes as well. The front desk staff was very nice. The pool and hot tub were great and were open late at night. Only suggestion, keep your laundry room open later at night because we were out late each night at the theme parks and never had time to do laundry since you closed it. Other than that, 30 minutes (without the terrible LA traffic) from Hollywood and great price for a great hotel!

Bed was really comfy. Hotel staff was really professional and kind specially housekeepers. They provided me nice room which was in real non- smoking. Unfortunately, internet was too slow. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I mostly chose this hotel for the price. The location came second. I appreciate the daily hot breakfast. The room was clean and the parking was good for us. We did not have any issues during our 5 night stay. It was easy to get to and the area was not bad either. It seems very close to bad areas but we did not have any issues and never did we not feel safe.

This location is located right off of the freeway and is a 20 to 30 minute drive to LAX. Location is also close to attractions Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. Location has plenty of on site parking and offers daily breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

I booked this hotel last minute for a trip to Los Angeles because I had my college orientation. The place worked out great. It was only 10 miles from the campus, so I didn't have to get up too early to get there.

We stayed here in June 2016 for about a week or so. The hotel was OK. not bad but also not great. Somehow anyway worth the money that we paid for. Rooms are spacious but quite worn out already. Otherwise clean and surprisingly quiet although we had room facing the street. Pool and hot tub are nice and were not crowded at all during our stay. Free parking and enough space every night. Easy access to the highway. Fastfood nearby (all brands that you can think of within 1/2 mile). Only big minus is the breakfast. As such it is as expected in these kind of hotels (nothing fancy but you can get your stormach filled up), BUT the breakfast room is much too small. Always big fight to find a table or chair.

We had a good stay here in Norwalk. We were able to get a decent night's sleep in our room and enjoy our stay. Everything we needed was close and had good access to the freeway from the hotel. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well.

The booking agent set us up with a room with a king size bed and a sofa couch. When we got to the hotel they did not have any sofa couches and even told us they had no rooms for 3 people. How disappointing that the booking agent was not informed on the actual hotel.

So to start off with I have stayed at many best western hotels. I know the good ones from the bad ones. With this hotel every thing is clean as it should be. nice breakfast etc. so we stayed here six nights and the issues was in the mornings the people above us I believe had kids and at 6 am they would start stomping on the floors. Not walking like normal ppl do but stomping. So every morning we would wake up at 6 am not wanting too. I complained to the front desk n no results. So I assume they did nothing. So I advise anyone staying here stay on the top floor because management won't do anything if you have a issue. I will not stay here again because the management did nothing to try to help us. Six nights is a long time in one hotel.

Our visit to LA was spurred by a conference, but the rest of the family was there as tourists. Since we had a vehicle, we opted to look for a family-friendly hotel that was budget-friendly. The Best Western Norwalk Inn fit the bill nicely. Close to Disney, and near enough to Downtown LA. A refreshing pool and spa for the days when our schedule was less full. The free parking was welcome. LA traffic was brutal, but when travel was during off-peak times, distance was easy to our multiple destinations. We took full advantage of the breakfast, with options for the whole family. The internet did go down for part of a day, but the staff did what they could to get everyone back online.

My stay at Best Western was perfect. The location was within a couple miles of the retirement party I attended. It doesn't get any better than that. The room was very clean and the bed was as comfortable as my own at home. I would gladly stay their again and also recommend the hotel to friends. Easy access in and out.

Room had a really good standard, a lot of space, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, very tasty breakfast. It's quite far away from any LA attractions, but it's hard to expect that for this price. Very nice Inn.

Great place! Clean, comfortable, conveniently located, great rate! Would recommend it for anyone visiting Universal Studios or area attractions. Wonderful place for families with children or groups. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Customer service was extremely poor, management down to staff was rude and poorly organized. Manager was Rude, his staff was rude that night as well as the following morning. Will never arrange for travel arraignments here again.

I stay at this property several times per year and have always had a good experience. The rooms are clean And well equipped. The staff always goes out of their way to accommodate my needs. The company I work for is in this area several times a year and this is my go to hotel. I have a problem with the gas next-door to me arguing in the middle of the night but the front desk took care of it. Also lots of noise with doors opening and closing early in the morning and late at night but that is it really their fault. It's so nice to walk into a familiar place that feels like home!

We had a stay for 4 nights. And arrived in the evening. There were no drinks or snacks in the room. Staff pointed a vending machine but as we arrived from Europe we did not had yet any change. If you will be in the same situation, be sure you have one snacks if you wake up in the middle of he night of laud noise of your stomach ;-) The room and bathrooms are clean, noisy A/C. The breakfast was what you expect from a motel where your breakfast is included. And if you expect this ... you will be happy. For me it was a bit pricy for what you usually get for the same money in other regions. It could been the location or it could be a bit too expensive.

After driving for several hours I really needed to use restroom. The lobby had no public restroom available (though there was one for workers). My check-in lady was very slow, my room key did not immediately work, and I wetted my pants in the hall way trying to get into my room. Overall bad check-in experience

Clean renovated room. We will return again, i just hope they update their A/C units by then. The room never got really cold, the way we like it. We also had issues with the tv, we couldn't get any channels, but housekeeping took care of it pretty quickly. Breakfast was included, and was ok, not great.

I stayed with my family. It was a very good stay. I would say the highlight of this facility is the extremely courteous and helpful staff. That gives a great comfort.Its location is ideal if you want to visit both north as well as south (Orange County) part of LA.

Clean room, good breakfast, and great price. Decor is a little outdated if you work about that kproblem be of thing.I didn't particularly like the smell of their cleaning products there was a strong scent in the room but that's better than a bad smell. Beds were on the firm side but comfortable. Would defiantly recommend.

Debra, Daphne, and the young Hispanic gal that works the front desk should all be fired. They are rude, unprofessional, and discriminate against their customers. I will be filing a complaint. I was ridiculed for smoking behind the hotel but, other customers smoked on the balconies and whatnot without receiving a hard time from the staff. I then was accused of smoking in my room because of the smell of my clothes which was outrageous as well since I have stayed here numerous times and never had an issue. My check-in was troublesome, employees not wanting to let me use my points for my reservation. The overall experience was horrendous, I will never stay at this establishment again and management needs to either make staff changes or be eliminated entirely. If I wasn't a young professional, those staff members would have gotten a mouthful. Oh and housekeeping needs to do their job and not worry about what people are doing in their spare time that are paying guests!

The room was clean, the king size bed was firm and comfortable. It had a refrigerator and in-room coffee maker and coffee pouches. The breakfast included waffles, eggs, bagels, cereal, pastries, etc. It is located in a nice part of town and very convenient to the freeway. The room was surprisingly excellent for a very affordable price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a great stay with our kids here. The rooms were nice and they placed us close to the pool. Our kids had a great time swimming and playing.The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and yummy.

Hard to communicate with mostly Spanish, non english speaking staff. Room is fairly small and crowded especially for two or more people. Parking is tight. Fridge was set to full cold and froze everything. Temperature adjustment was on back of fridge and inaccessible.

This hotel was not as nice as other BW's I have stayed at. Disappointing since I decided to pay a little extra for a "known" comfort of being a Rewards member. Traveling for business on a tight budget is difficult in big cities. To be safe, comfortable and to have a slightly "familiar" feel is the reason I became a Rewards member.

Staffs are super nice. Breakfast was good. Rooms are a bit old but looks clean. My room was missing shower curtain but front desk was very helpful and find me a clean replacement. It is very close to Costco and besides highway.

This hotel is very well run, we really loved the beds, the rooms were very clean, the breakast was plentiful and delicious, it was very easy to get to, and our kids love the pool and the hot tub... we will definitely be back!

This hotel was a nice option in the area of LA, it's just a hotel to sleep at night until you do other things in day. Rooms where nice and comfy, the staff friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and nice, also can find basics very near and some in a walking distance (Target, Stonewood mall, McDonalds, Tj Maxx, Walgreens, etc). This hotel is located in a urban area, not a turistic place and you've to spend a lot of time in traffic to reach the popular places (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Sta Mónica, Universal, etc). Likely to rent a car, because metro is far away and taxi will be very expensive. They were doing some renewing work in some rooms during my stay, but it was OK because the loud drilling its only after 9 am. Don't expect a fancy breakfast, it was the normal BW hotel breakfast. Parking lot were full at night, but we always found an place to park.

This BW motel is proper for that price. But even though renovation is under going, interior was very old and worn. No enough tables in breakfast room. Staffs was very kind. Location is good for traveling LA.

This hotel is by far my FAVORITE!! The staff is always so sweet and helpful! The cleanliness of the rooms is so great, I have never had a problem with my room at this place. The location is also very great because you are at walking distance from a shopping center where you can buy food; the rooms have a refrigerator so you can always bring leftovers! Also there is complimentary breakfast in the AM when you check out, the parking is great too. It's so nice and quiet, you will love it there!

Very Attentive the Receptionist. The room is clean. Very quiet place and you can relax. The free breakfast is really good. Cheking out is very easy you don't have to wait. Overall i will comeback in Best Western.

Rooms are nice and clean. Easy access to freeway and close to several places to shop even though you can hear neighbors above if they are heavy footed, I would still recommend this hotel. I have been staying here over the past 20 years when I visit family for the holidays and I always stay here. They have updated many things here over the past 2 decades. I will continue to stay with in the future

We went to Universal Studios and didn't want to spend to much on a hotel. After checking out the places close to Universal, we decided that the Norwalk In was close enough and a great value. It's a good location for lots of Southern California adventures!

The team was very helpful and customer focused. The room was clean with all of the necessary amenities. Accommodations were nothing fancy, but the hotel was clean with a nice breakfast. A good value for the price.

Part of my dissatisfaction with this property is where it is located. This is a grungy area..which is why it would be nice if this hotel stood out as being out of the ordinary. Really clean up the outside. Plant with nice flowers. Clean sidewalks. Use brighter lights in common areas. They also need to really look at the carpeting in the rooms to make it as clean as possible. The hot tub was a weird pea-green color. Garbage cans around the property were dirty on the outside. There is no ramp up the curb at the reception area for suitcases, yada, yada, yada.

Very reasonably priced compared to similar Motels in the area, Room was clean and comfortable, no hassle check in and out; Some good eating spots a block away within walking distance, close to the 605 freeway.

Stayed here at the start and end of a recent road trip around california. We chose this hotel as it was only 30 minutes drive from LAX and reasonably priced. Couldn't find anything at all wrong with it during our stay. air conditioning in the room was good enough to keep us cool in the height of summer! Didn't have trouble finding a space to park the car, WiFi was a good speed, rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend! We will be staying here again on our next visit :)

Since this hotel has made upgrades in bathrooms, eating area, etc., and cleaned up the rooms a lot better, this has become a really nice place to stay. Also, note that I think they have also put in new firmer and more comfortable bed mattresses. Staff is friendly too.

hotel is conveniently located. There was plenty of parking (extra in back). The room was clean, and the bed comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was about like most (eggs, sausage, bread choice, juice, coffee, yogurt, cereal) When we got there most of the eggs were gone, but was quickly refilled.

We chose the Norwalk Inn since we like Best Western hotels, and it was convenient to a reunion that we were attending in Bellflower. Although it is located on a main street (Firestone), the room was quiet and in good condition. There is a railroad track nearby, but we only heard one train during our 2-day stay. It is also very convenient to the 605 freeway, but we did not hear any traffic noise from the 605 either. All-in-all, a comfortable good-value property.

This hotel gave us a great value for the price paid. We had friendly staff, parking, in room wifi, and a great breakfast! We would definitely stay here again. The check out process was also quick and streamlined. We only stayed one night but would have no problem staying longer.

Good location with excellent parking staff helpful. Rooms clean air conditioner a little noisy breakfast was really good. Only one washing machine and dryer which makes it hard to use when no one else is.

Although we only stayed 1 night have to say the breakfast room was Awesome & the employees were very helpful. I would stay again & it is a good place to bring the kids. I didn't have mine & was not able to use the pool but it looked very inviting!

The hotel is located in a good area in Norwalk, little old but good. It just has a inconvenient that when walking in some of the rooms the floor makes noise and it can be heard from bottom room. Also, everything can be heard from other rooms. Called front desk to have them call neighbors to ask them to be quiet. Have to buy ear plugs then everything was ok after.

This was a great hotel that offers a nice breakfast bar with both hot and cold items. Everything was very clean and neat. Great value in the neighborhood of other high $$$$ accommodations. I would stay here again, the staff was very friendly, lots of parking, free wifi and a pool.

I stayed at this location because my usual Best Western in Westminster was priced too high in comparison to this location. I am glad I stayed here. It was a short distance from the Anaheim Convention Center, Cerritos, Lakewood and Highway 91. Staff was friendly and my room was clean. I had no problems with the room, but the breakfast room was usually crowded when I tried to eat breakfast. Not really a complaint, but more an observation. It was a busy hotel and there were many enjoying breakfast. People stay here for a reason. Highly recommend hotel location.

I really enjoyed Best Western Norwalk Inn because it was conveniently located to family and provided our group with adjoining rooms for added convenience. The facility was very clean and the staff seemed very friendly.

Best Western Norwalk Inn is a good place to stay for people who want to visit LA without paying LA's ridiculous hotel prices. The hotel is close to freeways and restaurants, and a fairly short drive to LA, depending on traffic. The hotel Staff were very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was good and had basic options like toast, bagels, eggs, cereal, coffee, pastries, etc. It was substancial. The hotel was quiet and pleasant, and very comfortable. We would stay here again and we would definitely recommend to others.

There were roaches in the pillow cases, underneath the bed, behind the TV and some dead ones in the fridge. It smelled really bad and there were scary people loitering in the area. We were not expecting this at all. We certainly were not expecting such terrible attitudes from the staff when we expressed our concerns. It was shocking.

Hotel is in a nice area. Freeway access is a few blocks from hotel. There are several restaurants, a Walgreens and Target a few blocks away from hotel. The staff was friendly and I check-in and out quickly. The breakfast was okay. (I have stayed at Best Westerns where the breakfast has been excellent). The room we stayed in was clean but, the restroom is in need of some repair and maintenance. The bathroom had mold throughout the ceiling and the wall paper was peeling. If you can overlook the minor flaws, then I would recommend this hotel. The price per room was also reasonable (average $113) considering we stayed mid-summer when hotel rates are extremely high.

This is the best place to stay in Norwalk. Very convenient to freeways. Excellent service and VERY comfortable Our home away from home. We come here approximately every other month on business and would not consider going anywhere else.

I stayed at this hotel on July 29th, 2016. I arrived at 9 pm to a quiet location. The hotel is among several luxury car dealerships with a Target down the street. I felt safe in this neighborhood. The outside is clean and well kept. I was given room 124 located on the first floor on the end of an "interior" hallway. The furniture in the room was aged but adequate. The TV and small refrigerator worked well. The bathroom was clean and the bedding was adequate. Good connection with WiFi. I have no compliments and I would recommend this motel to the typical thrifty traveler who wants a decent room at a good price.

An hotel who seems do to its business from travellers on their way to other spots or when the central LA is fully booked. The hotel is pretty old but does what it is meant to be. Swimming pool is facing the parking lot. Nothing amazing but nothing bad either.

Clean, quiet, all the amenities, close to I-605 for convenience. Price was right. Costco just about a mile away. Internet service was fast. Easy to get to areas of interest in the LA area due to close proximity to I-605 BUT it was very quiet so you never would have guessed you were only about 1/8 mile to the interstate.

Price and location was right for me. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Room and furniture was a little outdated; however, room was very clean and everything worked (mini-fridge, microwave, TV, shower). Breakfast was okay, enjoyed hot waffle and fresh fruits. I tried pool and it was clean. Room service was good. Wifi worked at all times. There was plenty of free parking. They also have a coin operated laundry room.

It's located in downtown Seattle vicinity only about 5 min walk to space Needle. The hotel is serving hot breakfast, not free but at $7.5 a person which is reasonable. The wifi speed is adequate. The parking is $15/night. To me, I am satisfied with this hotel with no complains.

Very convenient access right off the 605 Freeway. They had a very friendly Staff, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and well-lit parking lot. Hot tub was very relaxing. There are also plenty of restaurants and a bank nearby. This was also very helpful.

The hotel is very no frills, but on the inexpensive side, while still having nice, clean rooms. The free breakfast and free parking are great pluses. It's in a convenient part of town, providing easy access to the 605 freeway. It's also right around the corner from a Costco. It was perfect for us, visiting family and attending a wedding shower in the area. We didn't spend much time in the room, which was fine, and just what we needed for such an occasion.

Stay at this place for a couple of days and enjoyed or time. Cable tv was great and the bed was nice a soft. Heater worked at this place fine and there was not much of a view, but who stays at a hotel for the view ?? Fast and easy check in and out. Easy to fine and to get out. On a busy street, but had no trouble. Will stay again when in the area.

Nice hotel, clean room, lots of plugs and USB charging ports, good breakfast, and nice staff. I highly recommend this hotel. While here for business, I did visit Disneyland on this trip. I was able to get to the park in less than 15 minutes.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise for us. Clean, well kept property. The staff was friendly on our arrival. The cost was very reasonable compared to the area. Breakfast was simple and a good way to begin the day. The only negative was some noise from the adjoining room, although it was no bad. We will stay there again when traveling in that area.

The staff was friendly and very happy to change the room I had from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I was staying at the Norwalk Inn from April 26-May 9th. However from Day 1 Ms. Debra at the front desk has been so courteous and very helpful. She's met my 11 days at the hotel grand. Also Claudia from Housekeeping was just fantastic, she knew how much I value my sleep and would call me before coming to my room. She also shows excellent customer service skills. The hotel itself is at excellent location close to the major freeways, food places, Target. Etc.

20 minutes from Disneyland, freeways and places to eat are close by, also 20 minutes from downtown L.A., hotel is clean, good reception on internet and television, hotel is clean and quiet, parking is not a problem, did not use pool but looked clean.

My go-to hotel to stay at when im in town for a family gathering. Very clean rooms, feel comfortable every time my family and I stay at best western. Breakfast can get a bit packed but other than that I have nothing bad to say about this hotel! Love staying at best western norwalk inn!

Although the furnishings are dated, room was clean and comfortable. the desk staff are very nice. There could be a little more for the breakfast, but it was otherwise good. The building has an elevator which is good if you cannot climb stairs. Ice machines work and there is even one on the 3rd floor.

This is about our 3rd or 4th time staying at this Best Western location and not only is it a great place to stay the staff is very helpful and friendly. The water pressure is very good, internet is perfect for streaming videos and they do not limit the amount of devices connected to it. The parking is kinda full at times but not really a problem. Fast food locations and markets not to far from hotel.

This hotel was OK. It was clean. The staff wasn't always that friendly. We need additional towels, but they didn't have any available for a while. Then the maid only left 1 towel when cleaning the room, but did bring back more later. Seemed to have trouble keeping towels available. Also the last night, the air conditioner/heater stopped working. The breakfast was just OK. I would stay there again though if I needed to stay in that area.

The room given was a connection to another room. A guest in the other room snored very loudly and the noise came through the door area. early morning sleep was almost impossible. Not sure how this problem can be resolved. The incident was not reported because i felt there was nothing that could be done. The other guest left after the first night.

Lets keep getting good rates. BW needs to keep up with the good rates that it has once offered its Business Owners, especially its local small business owners. They once offered decent prices but now are trying to bump up a little too much

Perfect.....this Best Western was located right where we needed it to be.......close enough to family and other places we needed to be.....during our stay.....even though its on a busy Firestone street the rooms are quite.....and the reason I like staying at Best Western is they have elevators,,,I have trouble climbing stares and we were on the 3rd floor...so thank you Best Western for elevators.

We weren't expecting much and I think for the most part, got what we paid for. The location was good. Our room faced the street, which was quite noisy till about 10pm. The AC/Heater was quite noisy, but it help drown out the street noise. The breakfast was OK. They only have 1 waffle maker, so no chance of getting that if you are in a hurry. Parking was decent and well lit. I found the area was quite dead at night, which was fine by us. The motel was close to a strip mall with a Walgreens and a subway. Lots of restaurants along the main road, so it was definitely a plus. We had dinner at Olive Garden just down the road. Universal was about 30 min away and so was Disney. I would stay here again, but would request an inside room next time.

Not a bad place. Room was nothing special but adequate - nice tv and convenient guest laundry. We had a door to an adjoining room and pretty much heard everything that was going on next door which made for some interrupted sleep the first night - I would not want the same room again. There was good parking and the front desk was always cheerful and helpful. VERY well maintained grounds - if it had not been so cold and rainy I would have been in their pool or hot tub for sure - it looked so inviting! There were an awful lot of cats hanging around which was a little annoying (I'm not a big cat fan). Continental breakfast - nothing special but again, adequate. I did not mind our stay here and would certainly stay again if in the area.

This location is surrounded by lots of shopping and eating locations and family fun places to enjoy with the kids. They have ample parking, the beds are sooo comfy, breakfast is just right. Perfect location if you are looking for a place home away from home just to get away.

A really nice, comfortable establishment. Would stay there again with no hesitation and would also recommend it gladly. I chose Best Western, although the price does worry me, because I do occasional travel and experience has taught me that Best Western is consistent in their service. had a family emergency had to book 2 nights in downey to be close to the hospital. this seemed like the best hotel in the area. rooms are clean service is great. bed are not the best but slept ok. clean rooms no issues

Maid service was attentive. Rooms in very good shape. Would have gotten and excellent except elevator was OOO and I was on the third floor. Breakfast is standard, are in lobby was neat and tidy. Kept parking lot and surrounding area clean. They deserve your business

First reviewed this hotel back in early August. At that time I rated 3/5, but I have returned many times since for stays of 3-7 nights each time. I've stayed at this hotel at least 30+ nights in the last 4 months. The staff are excellent every time. The price and convince of stores and food options are what drive me back to this hotel on all my LA visits. Keep in mind that I don't drive so I am happy that so much is in walking distance. I take Uber to Downtown LA or Union Station for less than $18. I always chose the Business Suite King Bed room as it sits in an interior hall and overlooks Firestone Blvd. The ice machines are nearby and the vending machine has snacks much cheaper than others. The self laundry facilities came in use. Pool and spa were always clean. Continental breakfast is ok, but the coffee packet in the rooms is horrible. I suggest 7-Eleven at the corner. Most important of all is safety to me and I can honestly say this area is safe for daytime walking.

I don't know the surrounding location before I booked .I only looked for a best western inn closed to my event. But I don't realize the people liked to fooling around during midnight, is was scared there are many people smoking ,talking, laughing , and the kids running around outside you room. I strongly hate this Norwalk best western inn I California.

Me and my wife have stayed at many Best Western hotels and this is the first to offer a Platinum Member gift bag. Some say it's the little things that count but this i call paying attention to details. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is good, the noise level from traffic is very minimal even having been placed with a view of the street. Didn't try the breakfast, Internet is fast no buffering. Centrally located but this hotel sells out quick so I suggest either calling in to see if something is available or book in advance.

This was or first stay in this part of Los Angeles and it will probably be our last. Norwalk is not a safe place to walk the street at night. The hotel has a night check in window on the side of the building so they can lock the lobby door at night. All the hallways are open air so any bugs may be joining you in your room. We had ants in our bathroom. We'll be staying in Whittier next time we visit the area.

This Hotel is one of my favorite in the Area. I prefer to stay here when I am in the area. They treat you the best and have the Best Internet you can find in the area. Breakfast is A little thin, but I a not a Breakfast Person so Coffee and Danishes works well for me, and once they get to know you, They are more than willing to provide you with the type of room you are looking for, I now have my regular room that I get repeatedly that works out great for me.

When checking in the front desk representative was friendly and cheerful, She seemed like she enjoyed her job. The other staff I ran into housekeeping and groundskeepers, were all very nice and friendly, they would say "Hello, Good Morning" with a smile. It made me feel welcomed and comfortable. My room was very clean, housekeeping did an excellent job. I stayed two days. I would highly recommend "Best Western Norwalk Inn".

We had a very nice stay with a nice room view and service. Would recommend to stay at this location if you would like to be near downtown LA. Breakfast was good and they also have healthy selection; they also have waffles for kids which my nephews enjoy it.

Chose this hotel due to price of stay and poor reviews of other hotels near this area. When we got there, remembered we had stayed there once before. Nite clerk was very accommodating to our needs. Main booking 800 number rep did not transmit our room needs (one with 2 beds) to this hotel. Suggest calling the hotel direct if you have special room needs.

We ended up staying here a few nights to see family in the area. We went with the King suite, a good value and a pretty good room all around, clean, good wifi, nice flat screen TV, good heating/cooling system, large room with couch and desk. We had no complaints at all about the room. The customer service was a different story. Upon arrival, there were 2 young women behind the counter, speaking Spanish. They continued their conversation for quite awhile while I stood there. One then said hi and took my ID and card, then continued speaking Spanish. It took quite a while to get situated, the entire time the 2 women talked in Spanish. Then handed me the key cards with the minimal instructions. The next day, the morning clerk was terrific, Debra, helpful, professional and friendly. She was the bright spot in the customer service arena. One afternoon when I went in to the office to talk to the clerk, the first days experience repeated itself. Two women behind the desk speaking Spanish. I was essentially an afterthought to the conversation, standing there waiting while they continued their conversation, no eye contact, no welcome, nothing but get the facts, do the job, continue with their conversation. Call me crazy, but I always thought customer service meant I would feel that my needs were being met with a professional, friendly, cooperative attitude, that my presence right there would be noticed, acknowledged and someone would care about what I wanted. Not the case here. If you don't care about that, then this hotel will work for you. The breakfast was minimal, hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, the basics. I've stayed in many Best Westerns and most have a much better selection with omelets, bacon, sausages, just a lot more to choose from. But the kicker about the breakfast room, which is in the lobby, is that there are only 4 tables, so often there is no place to sit, you have to lug your stuff back to your room. So, if you are looking for more value in the food offered, think again. The bottom line is the room is quite good, the customer service is minimal and the food is mediocre, at best. I want more than that when I travel, but you be the judge.

The hotel was okay. I was surprised there were such high reviews online based on the room I occupied. There were stains on the carpet. The sheets appeared clean yet the bed skirt had a large stain on it, and either makeup or "other" on it. How do you get makeup on a bedskirt? The mattress pad cover was torn, and oh yeah, the bed skirt had a body outline on it. Like someone was playing a joke and wrote on it with a Sharpie. How do I know this? Because I check every bed and room for bedbugs before I stay. Thankfully there were none that I noticed. The bed skirt under the mattress also had a significant amount of other peoples hair on it. The couch had tears in the fabric, and stains on the fabric and the chair too. I did not sit on them because it was kind of gross. Other than that everything worked. The bathroom was pretty clean except for some "liquid" on the side of the sink. I was only there overnight so for the price it was good, but it seems like some deep cleaning should be done and perhaps some repair or replacement of the stained and torn furniture.

My sheets on my bed had not been changed and were obviously dirty. I travel extensively for work and this is only the 2nd time during my travels did someone not have the decency to put clean sheets on the bed. If there is one thing that gets done this would be what I believe to be the most important. Skip everything else but change the sheets. There was also an excessive amount of hair in the room from the bathroom floor, the original sheets to the shelf when you walk in the room on the left. I did bring these concerns to management obviously when I asked for new sheets and after my stay which an apology was given and a credit for half my stay was given. Some positives was that the pool area was nice. I would absolutly not stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights & I must say our room was really big & really clean. The bathroom was a little bit small but I does its job. The bed was super comfy also. They have a pool but we didn't have time to check it out. We really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back.

The hotel was conveniently near the freeway, quiet, had a decent breakfast, was clean, beds were fine, and staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool or spa, but it looked clean. We chose this place to be fairly close to Medieval Times. It's about a 15 min drive from here. When looking for a place on a budget and want somewhere just primarily for sleeping purposes this works out well.

Stayed here before -- this time was the worst -- requested second story room -- got a first floor room -- requested a quiet room -- got noisy neighbors and traffic noise was really annoying -- ran out of hard boiled eggs PLUS dead bug in the bathroom

Stayed a couple of years ago for one night. Good rooms and good breakfast. Good stopover hotel, good parking and free wifi. Good access to highways and good local amenities in the area. About half an hour from LAX.

We were really happy to stay in this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful and basic breakfast offered was a quick bite before a busy day. Location of the hotel was great for us, close to main freeways that made easy moving around LA.

Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful place to stay. The room is nice and big, HD television and mini fridge. No microwave in the room, you have to go down to the lounge to use a microwave. It does have a decent size pool and hot tub but on the day we were there, it was kinda crowded with kids. The breakfast was so so. Breads, waffle maker, packaged pastries, juice and coffee. Sorry but no eggs or sausage. Open air parking and there seems to be plenty of room for even the larger vehicles. WIFI didn't work the first night but came back to life the next day. It was very good and very fast. What makes this place kinda boring is the neighbors surrounding the hotel. There's a BMW and Audi dealership to the right, a storage facility to the left, a used car lot across the street and a simple strip mall down the ways. Seems really peaceful with no really loud freeway noise even though the freeway is half a block away. There are a few small restaurants close by and a 99¢ Store a block away. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be. If you want to be where the action is, you'll have to drive a bit. And yes, I would come back. The staff was very friendly.

Room and restroom were clean and spacious. Room was very quiet and convenient and my room was on the street side. Non-smoking. Did hear a dog bark in one of the rooms and noticed a house cat. Elevator right in front of the room. Ice maker on the 1st and 3rd floor. Off the elevator on the 1st floor is the front desk and breakfast area. Breakfast was nice. Plenty to eat. Hard boiled eggs, bagels, white bread, wheat bread, muffins, Danish, hot waffle, oatmeal, apples, bananas, orange juice, apple juice, regular and decaf coffee, tea, hot water, butter, cream cheese, jam, variety of yogurt (peach, strawberry, blueberry). Only complaint, not enough seats for breakfast. Should open the conference room for breakfast if it is not being used. Plenty of parking. The area has everything. Big stores (Target, Smart and Final, Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, 99cent) and little stores (Dollar Tree, Inn and Out, Jack in the Box). Freeway hwy 5 and 605 a couple of blocks away. Price was terrific. People were nice. Internet did go down one night and you have to log in every day.

We really like the location of this Hotel. Easy access to 5, 605 and 105 Freeways. The cleanliness, the demeanor of all the staff and convenience of breakfast and internet services are the main reason we like it. Whenever we need to go to Los Angeles, CA we stay at this hotel.
