Very happy with my experience at the hotel as well as my interaction all levels of staff. I always have the option of staying at any hotel I'd like in South Florida North Florida or the Miami area and due to my relationship with the staff I always choose this particular Hotel

« Great Hotel with 5 Star Customer Service »

The hotel was clean and very nice. The Whole Foods across the parking lot was convenient, for a quick meal or a snack to put in the frig. The pool area and the balconies are relaxing areas to hang out. The location was perfect for us, since it was just 2 blocks away from the doctor we were visiting for surgery. We had 2 rooms and stayed at the hotel 3 different times in one week. Every time, and every room was wonderful. The thing that really stood out was the Amazing Customer Service... Pete, Tiffany, and Frances at the front desk were so caring and cheerful and helped us with multiple reservations during a challenging time with my dad's surgery. Everyone at the hotel was professional, cheerful and helpful; the front desk, housekeeping, the restaurant, even the maintenance crew, went above and beyond to be help make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel.

    « Nice stay »

We stayd here for 8 nights with my girlfriend. Overall stay was nice and good and compared to the price excellent. Rooms are ok, could be a bit bigger. A bit noisy too, near roads with traffic. Very helpfull staff. Services nearby and good location since we had a car. Overall a great stay.

« Best Western, North Miami, FL »

Rooms were very comfortable, and not too expensive for Miami. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was not too close to everything happening in Miami, but for the price, it was worth the drive. Quiet area.

« BW should stand for BEWARE »

I had the coffee maker replaced in my room. Whoever did it left parts of the packaging and the maker's warranty on the desk where my iPad used to be. I guess it conveniently fit in the empty box the coffee maker came in because my iPad was stolen out of my room. Two days before this incident I was taking a nap in the afternoon. My room had been already cleaned earlier that day. I hear the card key click and the door opening. I yelled that I was in the room. The house keeper still came into the room claiming she was checking if the room needed vacuuming.

« Enjoyable stay at Best Western »

I truly enjoyed my stay at this Best Western property. It was very clean. The staff friendly and accommodating. The room met my needs comfortably. I felt safe parking in the lot at night-time. A security was always present. it was in proximity to many of my favorite stores.

    « A +++++ Customer service »

Me and my husband have been here for a week and a half and I must say the customer service here is beyond five star the food in the restaurant is very very delicious!!!!!!!!! Miss Mabel is the manager of the kitchen her and the staff are wonderful and will cater to all your needs I am enjoying my stay here thank you so much for your A+ service.

    « Friendly Staff @ Best Western »

Upon checking in at Best Western, we were greeted by the hospitable Pete, who did his best to accommodate us with an early check in. He was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip! Also, s/o to Chania, Stephanie and our favorite night agent who greeted us on our way out to hit the town! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel; quiet, cozy and warm staff @ Best Western North Miami,

    « Visiting family »

Had to get a room for two nights at the last minute. Staff was very accommodating. The room I was given was very clean, comfortable bed. Clean facility. Quiet. Very pleased with the service I received.

« Good location, best in the area, poor WiFi »

Across the street from Whole Foods and walking distance to several strip malls with lots of services. Clean, nice bathroom, fridge, microwave, balcony, good TV. Large swimming pool, coin laundry. Safe available at front desk. Cafeteria is good and reasonably priced. Large free parking area. For a small fee, the hotel is willing to accept packages sent ahead of time. There are three weak points: a) WiFi works intermittently b) Air conditioner blows directly at the bed (you can use the sofa to deflect the cold stream. c) Check out time is 11am.

    « Adequate »

Well situated and fairly reasonable. Nice breakfast spot, good front desk staff. Clean. I would stay there again. There are not a lot of hotels in this area, so our choice was limited, but this is fine.

« Great for what it is, but not the greatest customer service »

I stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks while looking for an apartment after having to move to the area suddenly. Pros: The rooms are very clean and the maintenance staff is very good when it comes to respecting your items and your wish to not have to room cleaned daily. The location is great being that it is so centrally located. There a gym and pool on site, which both seemed very clean (I used neither). The parking lot is very secure, spacious, and free. Wifi is also very good in the hotel. The rooms have a good size refrigerator, desk, and microwave which is a huge plus. Cons: Customer service can be better. I received an extremely early wake-up call that I did not place one of my first nights there. At one point I extended my stay and to stay in the room I was given detailed instructions. When I went through with what I was asked the from desk staff said some of the things I did were unnecessary and otherwise disregarded me for doing what I was asked to do by their peer, which to say the least, is annoying. My biggest gripe was the fact that I had left a brand new lunch box still in its packaging in the freezer, I called the next day and was told it was gone. Maintenance was allegedly asked but, in the end, my lunch box was gone. It's not the 90s these things cost money! I had checked out only 24 hours I found this to be ridiculous. I get that if people leave things eventually you give up on them claiming it, but goodness I had just left. I was really disappointed by this. Overall: Not bad but don't expect anything to be 5 star.

    « Perfect Stay! »

We checked in late due to a late flight arrival, we were met with a very pleasant and professional front desk. We were well informed about the facility and parking. Quick check in and gave us the chance to get to our room quickly and rest!

    « Not bad »

Please keep in mind this is a three star hotel for under $80 a night.....having said that I think you get a decent clean room with a clean bathroom on a busy road. This is not a vacation hotel, it's more suited for family emergency/ approx. to down town, airport and beach. We stayed there because we had to attend a funeral, parking is free, Whole Food is walking distance and bus stop outside the hotel.

    « Good ! »

Excellent price-benefit relation ! Good team, good and clean rooms, excellent wifi. It's in a business location with lots of eating options around it, including a Whole Foods. Hotel Crew does a great job, ready to help you any way they can.

« Not as great as advertised »

This hotel is advertised to be much better than it actually is. The staff at the front desk was friendly enough, but the room was average. It had that off putting air conditioning smell, however it was clean and had a fridge and microwave. I woke up each morning with my back hurting, so needless to say, the bed was uncomfortable. The balcony was nice, but too hot to enjoy. The pool area was quite nice as well. The restaurant and "bar"? A complete joke. We ate breakfast in the restaurant (no continental) the first day and spent over an hour and a half there. There was just one waitress who barely spoke English and she took FOREVER to take our order and even longer to have it delivered. In fact, a party that arrived after us got served, ate, and left all before we got served. We were ready to walk out but she served us just in time. The location is nice, there is a Whole Foods and Publix nearby where you can get food and drink for the beach which is only about 15 minutes away. All in all, I think you can do better than this hotel when visiting Miami.

« Nice little hotel in North Miami »

My home A/C broke and my family needed an inexpensive hotel where to spend a couple of nights until it got fixed. I've seen this hotel every day on my way home, so I decided to stay here after checking positives reviews on TripAdvisor. The lady at the front desk (sorry, I forgot her name) was very helpful and welcoming. She was friendly and very professional, and gave us a nice room on the third floor overlooking the pool. Our beds were very comfortable, and the room very clean and comfortable. The only negative I encountered was that the Internet service was horrible. It crashed every couple of minutes, and it was impossible for me to do some work in my computer. For that reason I decided to only stay one night at this location, and found another Best Western for my second night (Review on that hotel next)... Best Western Plus Windsor Inn does not offer complimentary breakfast, but it sits right next to a Whole Foods supermarket, and many fast food restaurants nearby. This is not a tourist location, so do not expect to do any sightseeing in this area. The good thing is that some nice beaches are a short drive away.

    « not 3 stars »

I am not sure how this hotel (it's a motel) got ranked 3 stars. The rooms are dark, dated and crammed. There are no amenities in this place, and the neighbourhood is a rough unsafe area. There is almost no lobby, just a couch. Some rooms in the front are somewhat better but front desk picks only a lucky few to give these rooms. The rooms in the back have a view of the dumpster which wakes one up each morning at 4am. I guess people end up staying in this place because there are very few hotels in the area.

« Frequent visitor to this hotwl »

Not sure why I haven't written a review before about this hotel. I have stayed here ~30 or 40 nights over the last 3 years. I moved here after staying at the Daddy O for many visits. I wanted a gym, and while I was giving up free breakfast, this hotel has friendly staff, it's QUIET which for me is so important, and is next to Whole Foods. I am always impressed by the staff. The gym is small, but it's enough, even when I stay for 4 nights in a row. Lots of shops within 5 minutes drive as well. Highly recommend.

« Friendly staff, busy neighborhood »

The hotel is central to many restaurants and activities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, while clean, was very humid, leaving our things feeling wet. There is a lot of traffic on the two streets adjacent to the hotel, creating a lot of noise.

« Great price and value »

We have used this same hotel before b/c it is very close to our destination and very affordable. It has all the amenities we want considering we don't spend a lot of time in the hotel. Its very nice to find a hotel like this that is affordable and clean.

« BW Plus good experioence »

I was in N. Miami to move my daughter into her college dorm. B.W. was close and convenient for my short stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good if you want to have a simple meal for breakfast or lunch.

« Good "stop off" point »

We used this as a stop off after a long flight. Great location to get to the main places in Miami. 20 minutes from the airport. 25 minutes drive down to Miami beach, 5 minutes to north Miami beach, plenty of shops around to get essentials. Staff extremely nice and friendly, pool not very clean but jumped in anyway because of the heat. Rooms very spacious but dated. Beds comfortable and shower powerful. Needed to ask for clean towels for second day but couldn't fault the staff. Needs a little updating but we would stay here again because it was good value for money with no silly add ons!

« Best Westen Plus Hotel Stay »

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh.Staff were all friendly and helpful. My only disappointment is the restaurant in the hotel was not prepared to serve an early breakfast.

    « Great location »

This hotel is great if you want to go north to do shopping or hang downtown. Easy to find and has LOTS of everyting around. Just across the street from a Whole Foods Market and Gym, drugstore, etc. The pool is nice, but the gym is so small and not equiped!

« Nice Room, Great Staff »

This hotel is not on the beach, but it is only a short drive to Haulover Park Beach, and is very reasonably priced. The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff here was very nice! Tangela was super awesome at the front desk, and very helpful! The pool is huge, plenty of room to swim and play. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to several restaurants and stores, as well as a Fed Ex Office (we had to ship back some souvenirs). I will be staying here again on future trips to Miami.

« Horrible service at front desk dont bother »

the girl at the front was rude, short, provided NO relief, NO help, NO resolutions. Had to book my OWN rooms. just- not a hotel i would EVER return to. Don't waste your time. They obviously do not train their staff correctly or AT ALL

    « Great Experience »

I took a job that required relocation so I needed a place to stay while I found housing in the new area. Best Western Plus was just a block away from my new office so I booked a few nights there while I was on the house hunt. Finding a place turned out to take a lot longer than expected and the hotel was super flexible with my needs and stay. Ultimately, there was no headache involved with this hotel. The staff was always extremely friendly and very easy to work with. They always greeted me with smiles and friendly attitudes, cleaned my room everyday, and they made it feel like I wasn't actually staying in a hotel (which for this extended period of time was nice and needed). I definitely recommend this property to anyone needing a quick stay or extended stay in North Miami.

« Excellent location and service!? »

I have been going to this hotel on and off for 10 years or more and it just gets better and better. Very great location! Walk to Whole Foods, Panera Bread, Walgreens, Also many coffee shops and small cafes nearby. Good size room with full bath, Comfortable bed with pillow choices. The reception staff are super efficient and well trained. I think the staff and management just do everything to the highest standard.

« Could not Wait to leave »

I stayed at this hotel because I needed to leave my condo while repairs were being made . I chose this hotel over Hilton Garden Inn (My usual choice) because it was closer to my job. I completely regretted that decision. I could not wait to leave. The room reaked of funk even though it was a nonsmoking room. Costs the same as the Hilton, so I expected Hilton-like Quality. The room was humid and muggy. Air conditioner blew smelly air. The best part was being across the street from Whole Foods. I bought air fresheners and scented candles to bare being in that room for two days.

« Black dye comes off the utensils »

The overall service was good. However, for the charge which was quite high with the breakfast included, neither my husband nor I were able to have any breakfast at the hotel. There were two reasons for this. My husband has diabetic tendency and has to stay away from carbohydrates, while I need to follow gluten-free and sugar free diet. None of the foods were suitable for either of us. Even oats where only available sweet. The only thing we opted for were oranges and apples, but this did not go well either. The plastic utensils in use in the canteen coloured our fruit with black dye when we cut it. When I addressed that issue with the manager, she explained that this kind of utensils were standard in their chain of hotels. I wonder how toxic is the black dye coming off these utensils and how many thousands of people ingest it with their breakfasts in this chain of hotels? Presently I am looking for a lab which will do the analysis of the utensils used in Best Western.

« Great place to stay when cruising »

The hotel is a few minutes away from the port and Global Parking where we left the car during the cruise. There's lots of places nearby for food including our favorite (Panera Bread). Internet was included (and fast), parking was free and the area was very safe. Our room was on the main road, but it was very quiet. The AC was also very efficient and quiet. We will stay here again when we cruise from Miami.

    « Great Stay !!! »

Visited with my daughter and granddaughter and had a wonderful time. Check in was easy and we were given our room key even before the check in time.Front office Staff and auxillary staff were always warm and very friendly. AT check out we had problems getting uber and the guy called us a regular taxi without hesitation !! Location was excellent, close to food, shopping, transport !! First visit to Miami was a wonderful experience ! Definitely gonna be back

« Family came in town for graduation »

My family came in town for the weekend for my graduation and this Best Western is near to my apartment so I booked it for them to stay in for the visit. After the weekend, they checked out and my sister left her laptop on the room. Before she even noticed it was missing, the house keeper named Adeline who was assigned to our room, immediately brought it to the front desk where the gentleman gave me a call and I was able to pick it up. Overall great service at this hotel, my family enjoyed their stay.

    « Extremely Satisfied!! »

My family of 4 visited Miami and had originally booked 4 nights at a Best Western by the beach which was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We ended up leaving after 1 night and checking into the Best Western Windsor Inn. What a difference! The hotel was more comfortable, the room was nicer, the staff was very welcoming and kind, the wifi actually worked and had a great signal, and there was cute cafe within the hotel with good, affordable food. (One small recommendation for staff: promote the cafe you have. It's delicious and the service is fantastic! Plus it's VERY AFFORDABLE.) The fitness center was clean and had adequate equipment. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing. Parking was free and plenty. This hotel is conveniently located to stores, fast food, and a variety of other services within walking distance. If ever in Miami again, I'd definitely stay here at the Best Western Windsor Inn.

« Very good hotel in North Miami »

This is an older hotel, in North Miami. Professional staff. I had a rental car issue and they were very nice/understanding about it. Helpful with local restaurants, etc. Everything was at least adequate and some things better: bed was comfortable, room was clean.I didn't swim or use gym so can't comment there. Wi-fi was good and stable and TV had lots of free channels. I did not feel unsafe (i realize I'm a guy and all, but next door to Whole Foods, so this is not a high crime neighborhood). Also did not smell strong odors or anything. I am super sensitive to those things, so if they did exist maybe not in the room I stayed in. Negative was no breakfast. I think never stayed in Best Western with no breakfast (and they are usually good). OTOH, there is a small restaurant next door. Don't know how they stay open, but actually got two eggs and muffin for $4. Perhaps dated, but found it pretty nice. Also limited and odd parking situation. It works okay. You will be able to park, just odd. I got a nice rate via best western online ($90/night) multiple night stay. A few days leeway to cancel. Whole Foods next door which was convenient. They have buffet type breakfast, coffee shop, and lunch/dinner buffet.

    « Best Ever »

Awesome experience, Staff is friendly and professional. They checked to ensure everything was ok. Location a plus - close to shopping center and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable. We received what was reserved. Housekeepers cleaned everyday and changed linen. The security personnel made us feel safe we we returned late during the night.

    « Excellent Hotel! »

I needed a place to stay at for twice before for my apartment was ready. The bed was very comfortable and laundry service was able. House Keeping would restock the amenities and service the room when did it.

    « Convenient and Clean »

This location is close to family in N Miami and this is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Staff and management are friendly, the property is a little dated but for us it works just fine. This time we had breakfast at the attached little restaurant and the food was very good and priced very reasonably

    « Poor service! »

Stayed at this hotel once before and had an unpleasant stay but decided to give it one more chance but had an equally unpleasant visit. Last visit was given a room facing the dumpster with the sound of the garbage truck arriving at 4am. This time was given a similar room that was unkept. When we requested a room change the front staff refused saying we are "sold out" but then continued to give walk in's a room with no prior reservation. The front staff is absoluely horrible!! A formal complaint has been made and will NEVER stay here again. We left without staying here the second time. I have never encountered such poor hotel service unbelievable! !

    « The place is a dump! »

I Stayed here in Feb 2016 for 1 night because I had an appointment that was 5 min away. The room smelled old and mouldy, the entire place is run down and needs a serious upgrade. I didn't feel very safe their fore I didn't get a good nights rest. But the front desk staff was friendly.

« Adequate Hotel with close proximity to beaches »

This is an older property that is adequate for a stay near the beaches. Our room was fine, with a good bed and nice bathroom. The hall carpets are in rough condition, and the staff could benefit from some training. The card-key lock was disabled on the side door, which defeats the purpose of having it in place.

« Good for the price »

First impressions people!!!! I really can't stress the importance of first impressions to an establishment enough, especially when your location is not anything to write home about. This was the challenge I had with the Best Western Windsor North Miami. Let me say the price was good which is why I chose it, it seemed not terrible and it was much less than most other place in Miami. Its location is as I said above nothing to write home about. It's in North Miami, at the intersection of a gas station and a small shopping plaza, the rooms look out on a parking lot and other parking lots and traffic. My first impressions of the hotel had to be overcome during my stay. What do I mean by this? The staff was fine, I had very little contact with them other than checking in which took all of three minutes. But as I walked away from the desk to my room I was thinking to myself?wow this place is either long overdue for some redecorating or the person who decorated was just depressed when they did it as it is dark and dated and although it might not be dirty?it's feels dirty because of how dark everything is, the carpet and walls, bad lighting in the halls etc. The room is also dark. I don't understand why hotels choose that dull sad beige color and this case accented the darkness with a brown wall?? So I was at this point doubting my choice slightly?it didn't feel?right. So far it was really about the décor though. As far as the hotel was concerned, as stated check in was a breeze, the room was a real deal, the bed?well I actually called serta to find out what kind of bed it is because I want it and the pillows. The room was clean and in fact the cleaning staff is comprised of a bunch of really wonderfully nice ladies! There is a fridge and microwave which was convenient. The location is eh?but it's not far from the beachside and a little drive north at the coast are some GREAT beaches. I also drove down to Key Biscane and it didn't take long at all. In the end it was comfortable and reasonably priced, if all you need is a place to lay your head at night it is comfortable and I can overlook the dark décor.

« Hotel Smells of Mold. Missing Watch »

Everything seemed fine until the elevator door opened and the smell of mold/mildew hit me. My room was in the second floor. The entire second floor and the room smelled of mold. Only reason I didn't check out immediately was because I knew I would not be spending a lot of time in the room. After the second day I returned to my room and I found some of my medication outside my luggage. I knew I didn't leave the medication out, and checked my bag. All seemed okay. I got to my next destination and now I realized that my watch was missing from the luggage. Never again.

    « Decent stay »

The staff is nice, the hotel offers everything basic you need. I just didn't like the fact that we couldn't use the pool on the day of departure, when we had two hours to kill before heading to the airport. You need a key to exit the pool area and of course you don't have it after the check-out. We didn't use the pool the whole week we were there because there was no time and wanted to just unwind a bit before our long flight to Europe, but it wasn't possible. I suggest the hotel offers this option in the future for guests after check-out if they are just waiting for their flight for a few hours - it will make the whole stay much more pleasant (and yes, we did ask the clerk if it's possible, but he said no). Too bad, many other hotels offer this kind of gestures to make the guest feel welcome.

« Quick Stay at Best Western »

The Staff is fantastic: friendly and well-informed. It's a great place that is near to many of the attractions and restaurants in North Miami and there is some shopping available. It is close to downtown Miami where there is a new and growing entertainment area. You can't go wrong. It was quiet the night that I was there.

« Staff were super helpful »

Every restaurant or place of interest we asked about was recommended by the helpful staff at the front desk and we were happy with every single recommendation! Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

    « Overall Good experience »

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The pool area is ideal for lounging and we were so grateful that there was a laundry on the premises. That was a pleasant surprise. It is centrally located with many restaurant choices nearby, as well as shopping areas and a whole foods next door.

    « LOVE IT HERE!! »

been staying here for a month (for business) And the staff has been absolutely stellar!! Walking in and being, first met with the girls contagious smiles has (on more than one occasion) really made my days away from home a lot easier. The rooms are always clean and stocked and with whole foods next door and the beach down the street, what more could you want? If I had to say one bad thing about my stay here it would be that the pillows are to soft but I understand that I'm a picky pillow person.. well that and I just wanted to type out the words picky pillow person and I didn't want to sound to biased. But in all honesty I would recommend anyone to stay here.

    « Great staff »

Never felt more welcome than how Newton the night receptionist made me feel. Also loved the lady who seemed to have 4 jobs in one she was there from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, answering room service calls, making the food, bringing the food to the room, working the bar/cafe. She is truly the sunshine of that place. Rooms were spacious & clean Only thing that I hated was the wifi

« Best Western Plus Windsor Inn »

Very enjoyable stay overall, had an easy time checking in and the hotel was easy to find. Great place for a discount rate outside of Miami Beach or downtown if you don't mind spending the extra travel time to get there. Convenient access to the causeway across to North Beach, but otherwise not a ton of attractions near it. Many convenient stores, restaurants, and shops around it.

« This place stinks of mold »

Room Smells so bad I needed to sleep worn patio door open. No screen on patio door. Old fan/ heater that can't be turned off. Smoke wafting in hallways. Talking weird elevators. Upside is that whole foods is across street. My sense is This place was cheaply renovated and owners are trying to cover up mold issues. I regret staying here.

« Good for the price! »

Due to last minute booking during spring break most of the hotels were around $400/night however this one was only $200/night. It was located in a central area. You could walk across the street and find a variety of food and shopping stores. The room was clean but there was a musty smell in the hallway and in the elevators. The workers were kind but did not speak very good English. So knowing a little Creole or Spanish may come in handy :)!

« Great Room, staff, and location »

We were so pleased with everything here. The room was big and the bath tub was very clean! (That is especially important with traveling with a 4 year old.) The cleaning staff was so friendly and patient with us. The pool was clean and private from the street, and the area around it was nicely landscaped. There is an attached restaurant that had a good breakfast. The best part was the location. Not close to the beach, but close to good eating and shopping.

    « Overpriced but it's Miami. »

Less expensive than beach hotels but still at over $250 a night, that's extreme for an aged hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is just old and in other cities it would be a $85 room. No complaints, just a clean place to sleep. We do wish the staff could have honored our advanced request for an early check-in. Waiting around exhausted for hours was not fun to start a holiday.

« Overnight stay at Miami, Florida »

Pleasant staff, clean comfortable hotel. Charming quaint restaurant. Wish they had had a free breakfast as many Best Westerns offer. Staff altered the check in time for us as the room was ready before the official check in time. Would stay at this hotel again if visiting the Miami Florida are again.

« Think Twice (maybe double that) Before Staying Here at This Location »

Reserved well in advance 2 rms, requesting adjoining rms for kids. Upon arrival (arrived in town 12:00 ish) Ms. "N" rudely sd, "Check In is at 3:00 p.m. No rooms available until then". (I looked rough frm traveling and was told "you clean up nice" as we stepped out to enjoy Miami - I guess staff shldn't judge book by its cover). I asked her (Ms. N) about the adjoining room request and she said no problem when I come back at 3. I also had my AAA card and showed her to make sure there were no issues at 3. Returned at 2:00 ish (we were going to wait in restaurant) and she was checking in other guests. I waited, went to diff staff person and was chkd in. B/C I had 2 rms, Ms. N quickly grabbed info from my staff person and did one rm chk-in herself. Ms. N told me my AAA discount was noted and the hotel had "No Adjoining rooms at this location". Given 4th FL rms-could not even open door after pushing hard/stuck. I went back dwnstrs and told her perhaps rm was locked frm inside as it wldn't open and I didn't want to kick the door. She did immediately come up (offered one free bottle of water (we never got it) and got the door opened. Once inside, what do I see...a door (adjoining rooms) where she claimed hotel did not have. At night police car sirens is all you will hear. Actually saw guns drawn, car pulled over with several police cars around a guy on our way back to hotel). Hall had a "smell". Husbnd sd it smelled like a pee smell. Rms inside look exactly like internet-which was good. We left balcony sliding glass door opened with AC on at night. Paid $788 in cash and rest on card upon chk-out. Male staff quickly chkd us out few days later and I specifically asked abt the discount amt. He assured us the amt on stmnt is discount rm charge. Got in car and pulled up initial reservtn itinerary and it was the EXACT same price. We went back inside with receipt and initial resrvtn to show Mr. Patel and question discount price he said we recvd. Mr. Patel said "oh, there is no discount (veterans, AAA, etc.) when you book through Booking.Com and that we should have booked directly with him at Best Western Windsor. I asked him why then did he just say our rooms were $239 each night and he gave me $216 per night when that wasn't true? I asked him why did Ms. N say she had the AAA discount applied, when it clearly was a lie? He proceeded to tell me she was intern/new and didn't know-then a black guy in gray hoodie appears with hotel name tag half upside down on hoodie walks up (behind desk) and just stands there. I adv Mr. Patel staff could have advised us upon check in there are no discounts (AAA, military, etc.) and we could have decided to go elsewhere. We walked out. If you don't mind seeing surroundings with burglar bars on everything, armed hoodied-up guard at night watching the parked cars (that's in the gated parking lot out back), hoodied-up plain clothes armed male behind counter, having your drivers license and credit card copied on paper and kept by this staff-even after you check out, garbage all along the streets, police car sirens all night and the smell of "something" in the halls, plus untruthful staff that will say anything to get you to stay (there clearly was no language barrier either)....then this is the place for you. Suggestion: do not stay here - for your financial, identity-theft, physical and family safety. Staff blamed your research and satellite view this place first! Do not believe the good-great reviews....I did....Guests Beware.

    « Excellent stay »

We chose this hotel when we wanted to be closer to Miami after few days in Boca Raton. It was a very pleasant stay, beautiful and very clean hotel, very conveniently located with restaurants like Pollo Tropical, a pizza place and whole foods just walking distance, but I wouldn't venture to go further. Security parking is available, the pool is nice. No matter breakfast is not included but the coffee shop downstairs is a great option at regular prices, even you get 5% off coupons. Short story: excellent stay, highly recommended!

« Good place to stay »

Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights after returning from a western Caribbean cruise. Room was small, but quiet, clean and up to date. Rate was quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants, but away from the heaviest traffic areas. Staff was warm, helpful and friendly - especially Sharon in Housekeeping. Would definitely consider staying here again.

« Great customer service (newton) »

I was very impressed with the customer service I was provided. Newton was very nice an hospitable . I would come back to this hotel anytime. Thanx newton for the great service an conversation an helping me out.

    « Comfortable, but a bit tired »

I stayed here for a few nights before flying out from Miami airport. The hotel was fine but could have done with some tidying up, new paint and carpets perhaps. My room was clean and well equipped with coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Oddly for a Best Western it does not have free breakfast, but there is a Denny's just over the road. The hotel has a cafe, but I did not see anyone using it in the time I was there and there are many restaurants in the area so I suspect the other guests, like me, found other places to eat. Talking of restaurants, if you stay in this hotel and enjoy Thai food you MUST go to Ricky's Thai Bistro - just 1 block away (walk west on 123rd Street, it's on the right hand side of the road). See my separate review on that restaurant.

    « Great Stay »

My wife and I live in Key West my wife was having a minor surgery in Miami and needed to stay a couple of nights in Miami before returning to the keys. We chose this hotel and are glad we did, clean comfortable and the ladies at the front desk were super friendly and eager to please. Great pool area and the gym was very nice as well. Highly recommend.

« Excellent Value and Location, Clean Hotel »

I stayed here recently when visiting the Miami area and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms and the hotel were very clean and very fairly priced. The pool was good sized and the fitness room was adequate. One of the best aspects of the hotel is the location. Within walking distance to the free parking there was a 24-hour Walgreens, a Whole Foods market with great prepared food, many restaurants including a Panera Bread, Denny's and several local establishments, a liquor store, TJ Maxx, and more all with the hotel being a short drive to the highways and the beach. The breakfast was not free but it really didn't matter since there were so many options nearby. Overall a great value and stay!

« Best Western Plus Windsor Inn »

Have stayed here several times in the past and keep coming back. Very convenient location to everything, and friendly, responsive staff. Though not large, rooms are very clean and functional, with microwave, a small refrigerator, and coffee make with coffee and tea packets provided daily. There is a shopping center across the street, and a variety of restaurants and places to eat within walking distance.

    « very good »

when the old people arrive for traveling are sad, tired the unique things you want to do is eat something and rest, for star again but the hotel do not have room ready until the time the check in, all at same time, when you see elderly people you can take some preference whit out hurt no body.

« Clean Rooms, Friendly Employees »

Staying here was a good experience. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive. The only concern I had was that the pool did not look clean so I was hesitant to even use it. The shower spills a lot of water and when you get out, be careful because I slipped and was in extreme pain. You can't even notice water spills out even when you have the curtain secure inside the shower. Other than that, good experience but I wish their price included some breakfast. Location is very convenient as it is right next to a whole foods and short drive from main locations.

    « Good central location. »

We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas with out two children. Hotel was clean, the pool is perfect for the kids to play in and is open late. The staff are friendly and breakfast has a great variety of food and drinks. Location is with in easy reach of most locations, a car is recommended though.

    « Standard »

This facility is located on busy Biscayne Boulevard next to a Whole Food supermarket. Room is adequate, bathroom on the small side. Windows open on a balcony but outside noise is high including construction activity currently taking place across the street Very worn carpeting in corridors Altogether the place is functional but unappealing

« A little small but great overall »

Upon arrival i was a bit sceptical but the check in took all my doubts away! The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated through out. Although the king bed room was a little small for my liking it is just perfect for myself who was travelling alone. The fridge and microwave are a great addition to the room. It has been years since I've been to Miami so i had no idea where to go and what to do in the area; i want to thank Tatiana for giving me directions and recommendations like the Big Fish restaurant (i really recommend them for a date night). The front desk staff is always smiling a genuinely happy to see you. Definetively will be coming back to this hotel

« Good location Pleasant people »

Nice people always smile when you walk in, friendly and helpful. Easy access to business center, Good location many restaurant around, Whole food is just around the corner and there is lots of parking in the back. Room are clean , bed was comfortable , good air conditioning and nice gym . Good value for your money.

    « Windsor Inn »

Staff were pleasant, housekeepers were very nice, restaurant was empty most of the time but food was decent and well priced. The best part though is it's across a small street from a Whole Foods and across a busier street from a shopping center with a Walgreens so everything you could want in the way of supplies was nearby.

    « A pleasant surprise »

We booked this hotel because it was close to Sun Life Stadium and we were going to a game. Also, 2 people in our party smoked and it is very difficult to find a hotel that allows smoking in some rooms. Also, one in our party was not going to the game and would need a restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel was very clean though dated in some aspects. Everyone working there was very welcoming and helpful. As it turned out the restaurant did not serve lunch but since 2 in our party could not come it did not make any difference. I think the hotel should change their website to show that the restaurant only serves breakfast and dinner. We were not able to take advantage of the pool because of rain but it looked inviting. They also have free parking, a big plus in Miami. Overall, we were very pleased and would go back again.

    « Great Stay »

I choose this hotel due to its proximity to the Port of Miami as we are going on a cruise. Check in was fast. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The use of a computer and printer was appreciated as I needed to print some documents for our cruise. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

    « Very Strict Rules »

I planned to stay here because of location and price. I asked for an early check due to medical issues. Asked again on the day of check and was told no because the hotel was full. Then when I arrived at 2:50 pm I asked again and was told no. I also notice a lobby full of guests waiting to also check in. If check out is at 11 am and they have 5 hours to clean rooms, why did we all have to wait until exactly 3 pm to check in.. Your telling me that all the rooms were finished at the same time, 2:59 pm.. I find this hotel unaccommodating and the decor outdated.

    « Excellent Service »

We stayed at this local Best Western because it was close to a family member. We were happy and surprised at how personable the staff was - especially Pete at the front desk. Always a smile when you walked in. The rooms were always cleaned in a timely fashion. We had the pool to ourselves which was also clean. They have a little restaurant attached that had the best breakfast. They are a little understaffed and it was a little slow, but the food was hot and delicious. I definitely recommend going there. It is an average hotel room, but the service was above average!!

    « Perfect Hotel »

This is my second time staying at this hotel and the only hotel I'll stay at when I visit Miami. The entire staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Housekeeping staff does a really good job everytime.

« Good location, Good Value, Best in the area. »

What we liked: This is one of the very few hotels in the area which appear to have been built this century. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is basic but new and clean, fridge has lots of room, ample parking, very nice swimming pool and gym, guest laundry room, lots of electrical outlets, coffee maker, good air conditioning, good towels and amenities, ironing board, comfortable beds. It is located next to a wide variety of restaurants, stores, drugstore, and lots more. Very quiet. What we did not like so much: Wifi is slow. Our PC and Ipad connected easily but our smartphones did not.The public areas smell humid and saturated with an unpleasant ambient deodorant. No in-room safe deposit box. Overall very good value for the price.

    « Check in »

Just checked in with Newton. Worst customer service ever....telling me because of late checkin i have to check out at 11. I was trying to pay for 2 straight nights and since he didnt charge me for the 2 nights lets see wjat management says. Says hes worked here 2 years lets see.

« Great hotel, super location »

The hotel is accessible to I-95 and Biscayne Blvd and there are many restaurant options and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. Whole Foods is 100 feet away, and as a business traveler it's easy to eat nothing but fast food while travelling; so it was a nice alternative to be able to walk to Whole Foods for some quality prepared meals and eat them back at the room. The room I stayed in had a microwave and refrigerator for leftovers. Nice little gym on first floor with free weights as well as machines. Pool is nice. Generous parking, which is something that not all the hotels in the congested city can claim they offer (I checked some other hotels closer to the beach and they have virtually no parking for their guests, who are forced to pay $30 a day for parking at a lot not owned or operated by the hotels.

    « First Impression »

My first ever stay at Best Western was a very nice experience. The employees are very nice and helpful. The employee help us with our questions and provide us directions. And their Coffee Shop serves wonderful meals at a reasonable prices.

« good for the price »

I Would like to congrats Mr. Pete...he is very kind and efficient. It was my 3rd time here and he always help me with good tips and your kindness. The rooms are very clean and people very kind also. Good price and good choices.

    « An oasis »

I was skeptical that I would find a comfortable, clean and affordable hotel anywhere in the Miami area. But I did. Encouraged by our friends here at Tripadvisor, I recently checked into this loverly place, convenient to the shore but not embracing the tackiness of other parts of the city. Staff was friendly and helpful [and obviously trained to greet every guest that they met]. Several places to eat were in easy walking distance. Many more were just a hope, skip and a jump away. It's not a luxury place, but it ain't bad. Your 'will return again' pal, Davy

    « Nicest staff/affordable rates/very clean »

From the outside it looks a little run down however its immaculate in the inside, convenient to everything.. The staff couldn't be nicer. The lady at the front desk deserve staff of the month. No free continental breakfast tho..

    « All Good »

I spent two weeks here while training for a new job. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and functional and the location was convenient. The hotel restaurant was minimal but there are plenty of dining options all around including a Whole Foods across the street.

« nice clean hotel and good location »

nice little breakfast restaurant next door very reasonable.hotel near interstate highway with plenty of free parking. do not go to dennys restaurant across the street. whole foods is also acroos the street. good place to shop.

    « Disappointed »

The place is depreciating more and more...I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times..and this last stay was the worst...Expedia screwed up my I had to pay $135 for a dirty..bug infested room. I was taking a shower and when I looked at the shower curtain there was a bug the size of 1/2 my finger..gross!!!..many women use this location as a post surgical procedures....which is/was convenient in the past..but now the place seems like no money is being invested in keeping it up to's dirty..noisy... Mabel is a sweetheart in the cafe on the lower level, but that even needs an upgrade with respect to selections. I was by the front desk that someone was at the desk 24hr..I checked out at find noone at the desk..I waited and waited until finally I just left a note...I can go on and on..just hope Best Western Windsor Inn makes some improvements...I will not be returning. ..

    « Overall »

Again, as usual we have had a pleasant stay. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Also we seen that the Interior and Exterior of the hotel are nice. Shopping center and food court are nearby the hotel and easy to reach for transportation by bus and taxi. Overall a excellent place to stay.

    « Too Expensive »

Too expensive. Rates are way to high. Many other options in the area to choose from. Poor Service. Hotel needs better customer service. Customer service does not even attempt to save you money by asking if you have a military ID to obtain more savings.

« Best Western Windsor Inn »

Overall the hotel is very nice, good central location, close to everything. Rooms - though small - are comfortably appointed and clean with refrigerator and microwave, and the staff is very friendly. I was able to ride a bike to the beach everyday (about 3 miles). Though on Biscayne Blvd, the interior of the room was pretty quiet.

    « Great stay »

Great stay. comfortable, clean room with a nice view of the pool. Friendly and helpful front desk. Easy check in/out and plenty of secure parking. Beautiful pool and convenient exercise room. Would definitely recommend.
