Gave us a smoking room when we had an infant with us. Room was disgusting! I would not stay here again. The individual checking us in was a complete jerk. I would avoid this place at any means necessary.

Went to ask the front desk about a gross dirty bed the sweet little girl at the desk went to grab another lady for help, the lady that came was rude and tossed me sheets said all their sheets are stained and I was going to have to change bedding myself because she was too busy to deal with it

Room smells like a bar with pillow covers and bed sheets smelling as well. Bathroom door handle was broken. Bathroom had a strong urine smell. It had sticky bathroom floor. Luckily i had body spray and we used it as many time we entered the bathroom. Carpet was probably from 1960s. Backdoor keylock was broken and anyone can enter bypassing the main entrance. We were counting hours as when we will leave this place. In the morning i mentioned the management what was wrong with the room. Hope they take my advice and fix this place. I am not sure about you, but i will not be back here even if they offer it free for a night.

The staff was friendly and the lobby and room were very clean. The location was great, close to downtown and family. The breakfast was warm and had several selections every day. The pool was refreshing.

This is a great hotel option if you are visiting Dinosaur National Monument, as it is located between the town of Vernal and the main park entrance. The hotel is a bit dated and could use some paint, but that's minimal. Breakfast every morning was hot and good, the pool and hot tub were nice and relaxing and the room was plenty big with a modern bathroom. It was a very comfortable stay!

Location is poor, with 2 empty restaurants next door, and a feel of being in the ghetto. The hotel looks great on the surface, but is poorly maintained, with sticking doors, leaking faucets, and towels that smelled of chlorine. On arrival we had to wait 15-20 minutes while the receptionist tried and failed to print something for another customer. We were not acknowledged, and no apology.

Worst hotel experience of my life. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Where do I start? Management is totally inconsiderate and do not listen to their customers. We were told that pets were not allowed on our floor. We had random dogs coming in our room multiple times. People smoking in the hallway with no regulation by the hotel staff. We got the excuse they were understaffed. Floors not vacuumed, walls stained, drywall missing from the side of the shower wall. Tried to hang up towels in our bathroom and the rod fell off the wall. Mold or mildew in the fridge, kitchen and shower. We booked to stay there for 4 nights. Left after one night and tried to reason with the manager but he would not refund the rest of our stay. Very rude individual. I cannot emphasize it enough to look elsewhere when looking for a hotel in Vernal. STEER CLEAR!!!

I stay at best western all over the country and will never stay at a surestay again. Yes they are cheap like a motel 6 but I DIDN'T expect them to be as bad as a motel 6. 1st I called twice to make staff aware I was getting in late so when I arrive it wouldn't be a problem. Well it was. I get there and I Dial 0 to get help. Perdón answers and says what do you need? I resound to check in and I get hung up on. Then the man comes out asks my name so I tell him and try giving him my ID and credit card. He completely ignored me and hands me keys. 2nd I requested 1st floor because I have a disabled 2yr old. Well I get room 323 top for furthest away practically. And so whatever that's fine I'm tired. I go and the room is a disgusting disaster even moldy cake on the floor. How did the cake get moldy in 1 day(impossible) he put me in a room that probably was never cleaned. So I called him and immediately tell him the room is a mess and he asks what's wrong with it. Like are you kidding me. So he says ok come get another room. AND SUDDENLY THE FIRST FLOOR IS AVAILABLE!!! 3rd we get in our new room and its basic nothing special very cheap uncomfortable beds and put our babies milk in the fridge and go to sleep. Well morning comes and milk isn't cold. Fridge and freezer don't work. Yay!!!! Whatever at that point I just wanted to leave. 4th we go to breakfast there and eggs are watery and I mention to my husband I wish I had more choices and eggs would actually taste good. So this loud chunky housekeeper tells I don't care then don't have to like it. They can leave. Yea ok never again at a sure stay. Its a not best western standards at all.

King room was an exceptional value and included full size refrigerator, stove and kitchen style sink an addition to the normal bathroom sink. Styling of room was plain but it was clean. Convenient for Dinosaur National Monument. Limited local dining is available but Vernal is nearby with a large variety of dining options.

We stayed here for one night - room 301. Although an older property, the room was comfortable and we had a terrific nights sleep. We had no noise issues, and the air conditioning worked great. The TV is a bit small (for such a large room). The front desk team were very friendly, and seem to take pride in their work. Affordable pet fee, and decent breakfast. As it is an older property, the luggage carts were a bit beat up, and carpets had some staining. In the bathroom, the shower curtain needed to be cleaned. Overall a terrific value!

They allowed loud music, whooping and hollering (from adults), have a barbecue with smoke that goes into the rooms and all allowed until 10 p.m. Staff is nice, but having music so loud you can't hear the TV is too loud. Can't have your window open or A/C on due to noise and BBQ smoke. Grown men running down the hall almost knocking us over as we came off the elevator. Various broken things in the rooms. Would never recommended or stay here ever again.

Had a really bad night as the doors of the rooms are really noisy when they closed, and we could hear guests open and close their doors until late at night and early morning. Plus guests were noisy, sounded drunk and front desk didn't do anything about it.

I would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms we booked were not clean - bathroom tub had yellow residue all over it and had hair on the wall of the shower from previous tenants. The carpet around the beds looked like it had not been vacuumed. And even though the room was a “non-smoking” room, the room, hallways, and stairwells smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The sheets on the bed were so old you could see through them. The window shut but did not lock and there were people out and about the hotel until all hours of the night. For a whopping $55/night, if cheap is what you're looking for, cheap is what you'll get.

The hallways smelled of drugs, and there seemed to be some locals residing in the hotel, including overcrowding the small pool area...the room itself was clean and carried no odor. Okay value, but I wouldn't return-

This is a very affordable hotel. The breakfast is limited, but great. The beds are comfy and showers are hot! There are coffee makers, cook tops, and fridges in each room. Be prepared with a pan if you need to cook or have microwavable items.

If you don't care that the advertised pool is empty; the room doors fit so poorly no inside light is needed in the room; you don't want your coffee first thing as no coffee maker is provided; and the breakfast looks like its from last year, then this is your place.

This hotel is amazing, they have amazing staff very kind and considerate and above all they care about their guests. The breakfast is actually a hot breakfast and their pool and hot tub are open 10/10 I would stay there again and I highly recommend.

Decided to stay here only because I had a $25 BW voucher. The young man at the desk (no mask on) had no idea how to process it and it took at least 15 min before he found someone who did. Pretty dated hotel. The carpet on the stairs and in the elevator looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. Got a poor night's sleep because the beds are so uncomfortable. Arrived a little after 8 am for breakfast. They were out of danish (my husband gave me his), sausage and eggs. The syrup for the waffle machine was nasty! There was no butter. Someone brought out some more eggs in a bag just as we were leaving.

The Hotel manager was so professional and friendly! She was just recently promoted to be the manager and was putting in 16 hour days to take make it happen for the Hotel. I couldn't say enough good about her and those helping her. They were all super! Never had that kind of reception at the Big Hotel chains. Highly recommend this Hotel!

Very nice hotel as well as a friendly front desk staff. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed, the kitchenette was especially useful during my stay. Breakfast was good. There available pool and spa which I enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel!

Pool was horrible it look like an abandoned public pool, towels smelled bad and breakfast was disappointing. Good location but when you see the best western brand supporting a hotel you really expect more. Price was so expensive compared with what you get.

Despite the great price, hotel was a disappointment, refrigerator froze the few items I had in it, Barking dog in nearby room. when I walked through a lobby another large dog came at me nearly yanking leash from owners hand. Room clean but run down. Breakfast Buffet was crowded with no covid precautions, Front desk personell did not always where masks

There is no early check in provided to rewards members; if you consider 1:00pm early. The manager Heidi, as you see her name on the several typed up notes around the property yelling at her staff. She blames covid for many precautions in the hotel, yet failed to wear gloves or a mask while preparing breakfast. Skip this hotel there are literally 7 others down the street at a similar cost.

Can't beat the price. Very nice hotel for a great price. The room was a little dated but clean. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly and pointed me in a good direction for food for the night.

I love this hotel and their spacious rooms with the jetted tub in the room. Definitely worth staying at when in vernal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have always been clean and the feeling of home when you get to your room. Definitely recommend this hotel! Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Appears to be an older hotel but had large rooms with kitchenette for a low price. Close to local park and convenient to DNM. We had an unexpected great view of fireworks for Pioneer Days. Staff was very friendly. Promptly attended to issue with bathroom light.

My family and I stayed here as a last minute check in and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. The room was very clean, staff was so friendly and they even made it possible for us to have a quick and easy breakfast with their grab and go breakfast bags which was super helpful for us. We will definitely be back and this will now be our go to hotel to stay at! Thank you surestay plus!

We try to always stay at a best western and even though this is a little further away from downtown vernal we were ok with it because of the price. Check in was a little difficult, due to the person in front not being properly trained and saying he was new and didn't know how to do some things. The manager Heidi did review everything at the end of our stay to make sure everything was fine :) The room was clean for a pet friendly room. Walls did seem like they needed a repaint but nothing serious. The walls are paper thin! The first night I didn't sleep because of the tv and conversation next door. As you walk down the hallway you can hear TVs and conversations. The next night we didn't have any neighbors and actually got some sleep. No Pool access due to the corona virus. Breakfast was bare minimum in grab and go bags. Shower pressure was very good and hot water lasted a long time for all of us to shower one after another. Overall stay was good, but would definitely recommend asking for a quiet room.

I first stayed here when I literally got stuck in town and have been back three more times. For the price you cannot beat it. The rooms are clean (the third floor has smoking rooms FYI) and the staff is always kind and wants to make sure your stay is good. It is also right between the two biggest dinosaur attractions. My kids loved the pool.

I came to vernal and Sure stay had the best rates. the rooms were clean, beds were nice. t.v, remote, and everything in the room worked great. breakfast was fantastic. the front desk greeted us every time we walked in. the manager was amazing. I would deffinatly reccomend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Fix decencencies. Need better quality beds. Fix malfunctioning TVs. Better quality breakfast. Upgrade rooms in general. Front desk folks need to be more attentive and manages need to train their staff better in helping patrons. Overall rating 4 out of ten.

One of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed at. Great value and plenty to offer. A little hard to find based on address but the staff was friendly and directed me the rest of the way when I got lost.

We had a wonderful experience! Loved the atmosphere and staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful at Surestay BW+ and in the community. So nice to stay where there are all the amenities we expected - free WiFi, indoor pool and hot tub, free full breakfast. Lots of activities available nearby for adults and children. Place was clean and quiet. Very simple and austere. Breakfast was the usual fare offered but hot and generous. Young woman and her father manage the hotel and are very helpful. Good location to visit the Dinosaur National Park.

Reserved a room for 2 nights in April 2019 complete with confirmation. Arrived at hotel today and they can't find any record of our reservation and could only offer a smoking room. The place looks brand new. They said that that place changed ownership since April. Our rate was $65 a night. Obviously they wanted to get out of the cheap rate. Sleazy!

This was cheap, now we know why. If you want a low price and don't care about the details of cleanliness, it's fine. I was surprised this qualified as a Best Western. Staff was very nice, the riins and bed quality are obviously out of their control. Owner needs to keep up in their housekeeping standards and pest control. 3 ants were in the room... that I saw... one on my pillow. Beds are hard. Manager was doing her best with what she could do.

Nice enough and clean. Great value. Pet fee $10 and plenty of room to play. Kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator. Not close to downtown but convenient right off 40. Friendly staff. Nice touch- an actual TV guide!!

Worst experience at a motel. To latch the door, you had to slam the door hard. The breakfast was nil...… We got there 25 minutes before the breakfast was to be over and there was 6 sausage patties left, no eggs or potatoes, only white bread, but the toaster did not work properly. There was no attendant in the area and when we commented to the desk clerk, he ignored us. This is very sad, as I never ever thought I would be exposed to this when staying at a Best Western Property.

We have been staying at this particular hotel for the last few years. We are in town about 5 weekends racing each summer and no other hotels in the area can measure up in any way. We highly recommend it!

This is a new member of the Best Western group and the managers are working very hard to meet all the requirements. While there is still evidence of renovation it did not significantly affect our stay. Our room was very large and the main areas were spotlessly clean. The beds were fantastic and was the hot water. The location was very quiet although a long way from the main amenities of town (a car is essential). The pool was open although we did not use it. Breakfast consists of the basics and we were told that some facilities eg the ability to have tea instead of coffee, will be provided when all renovation is complete. If you are looking for a night or two in the area at a reasonable price this fits the bill.

The hotel was more than we ever expected. It was very clean, very nice, friendly staff who were genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant. The rooms included a kitchenette that were well stocked. What a pleasant surprise and added to a GREAT experience.

Indoor pool was ice cold, workout room advertised on line was nonexistent. Breakfast area was under construction, so breakfast area was crammed into a motel room. and selection of food was not that appealing.

We stayed here because it was only a few miles from Dinosaur National Monument. The hotel was undergoing a restoration and it seemed as though we were one of the first to stay in our newly remodeled room with all new bath fixtures. Everything worked great including the Jacuzzi tub which filled in no time flat!

We loved our stay! The rooms were clean and well stocked. The pool was perfect. Staff is amazing. Even with construction and a city wide power outage we had a great stay and will definitely be returning.

Nice hotel for the rate. They are doing some renovations to the place. The staff did a great job keeping the dust and construction mess to a minimum while maintaining a nice flow to the hotel. A gym was advertised, but was unavailable due to the renovation. That was disappointing, but the staff let us know about some other options for exercise. The breakfast was very simple but got the job done. I liked the option of cooking meals in the room (With an extra $10 cooking charge which provided pots and cooking utensils.) Centrally located to the activities we had planned. Ther kids loved the pool and spa!

Adhere to all the negative reviews! This place needs help! The housekeepers all need to be retrained in how to CLEAN! Don't stay here unless u have absolutely no their choice. This place is under construction in the common area on the ground floor, however I don't think that any of the rooms are getting remodeled. This place needs a GM to tighten up the regulations!

There were finger prints and food and other unidentifiable dirt all over the walls. The walls in the kitchenette area looked like the food splatter from previous guests cooking had never been cleaned up. We used a bunch of our built up points for a free night and I really wish we had just saved the points and paid for a room at another hotel in town.

This was a quiet place with in-room cooking facilities and a refrigerator freezer that easily accommodated the food from our cooler. We paid $10 for a kit of cooking pots and pans, cooking utensils, and extra dishes and silverware which made cooking in our room convenient. The room rate really great. The back side of the hotel is quiet except for playground noise from the school. The only downside is that this location is a 2 or 3 miles from most of the commercial amenities such as groceries and restaurants. However, traffic was light so worth it to have such an expensive hotel.

Good quality budget hotel, our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very helpful and friendly proprietors manning reception. Refurbishment work underway on the lobby and breakfast area so temporary breakfast arrangements were a bit scrappy but no problem. We were told that the work should all be completed soon and the front area will then be improved. Great value for money, give it a try.

Under Construction. If you love sheetrock dust then your in luck. Limited breakfast items and you get to eat in the dark! I would look at staying at a different place. I love Best Westerns but this one missed the mark.

When we arrived it was late. picked up the phone to get attendant to the front dest to check in, half hour later had to call again. Finally got checked in and to out room it was freezing cold. Turned on the heater. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, the bathroom had hair all over it. The bed was hard but clean. The next day we had a do not disturb sign on the door and the house keeper still knocked and woke us up.

Room was clean enough if you don't mind a human hair or two in the shower and toilet or dog hair on the bed cover. Had to turn on the fan to drown out the noise, I could easily hear a phone conversation from the room next door and anything happening in the hallway. At least the bed was comfortable. Mostly got what I paid for, though I was hoping for a good night's sleep too.

The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was less than spectacular but you could fill up if your short on time and money. The pool wasn't working and I'm guessing it stays that way because we saw no children staying there. No need to fix the pool if you don't have families staying there. The staff was nice enough and we felt like we got our moneys worth.

We decided to try a "Studio" 6 in Vernal, Utah. It was such a pleasent surprise. Check in was good & the girl at the front desk was very nice & helpful. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. Large bathroom had a bathtub which was a very pleasent surprise after a long day of driving. Nice pool and hot tub, but we didn't use them. Having a kitchen with a 2 burner stove, full size frig, toaster, pots, pans, dishes etc...was a great plus. the Price was unbelievable for what we got. Very quite except for the occasionally door slammer, but there's always a couple of those. Breakfast was nice...Danishes, cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee and make your own waffles. It was very clean and well maintained just enough to get you on your way. We did have a problem with the T.V. and the gentleman was there and fixed it within 5 minutes. We will certinely stay here again. Excellent choice.

My room had a full refrigerator, microwave oven, and a small kitchen. I think the hotel room charge was good for what they offer. But breakfast was basically waffle and coffee, not much more. I don't mind to stay in this hotel again
