Best Western Palm Court Inn

Always a great stay at this Best Western. We stay often because we have family in the area. Never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly, rooms clean, breakfast good. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

everything was great. cucumber was very nice and very good. room was clean bed and sheets were clean over all I was so happy with my stay at hotel. thank you so much for all the hard work there doing.

Could not ask for a better experience. The front desk staff, housekeeping, pool, sauna (hot tub), breakfast, room, safety, ...everything was beyond my expectation. Front desk was exceptionally polite, professional, efficient, and happy!

The customer service is AWESOME!! When you walk in, you feel like home. They decorated the lobby and it is beautiful. The rooms are super clean and the morning breakfast is great! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice affordable place to stay.

The room was comfortable but a nighlight could be placed in the bathroom, it was very dark. The breakfast was average, the eggs were flat and round and the sausage was cold. The hot tub was set at 107 when the health department says that 104 is the max and 100 is the best for human beings. Maybe they were trying to cook lobsters. We asked them to turn down the temp at 2pm, but at 7:30 it was still 106. Yikes!

The rooms are very clean. But the motel takes no cash. If you go, take cash, because the vending machines ONLY take cash and there is NO ATM available. Be prepared for the most sickeningly sweet air freshener in the room that will NOT dissipate. Take your own TP, because whatever brand they use, is, well, useless.

A/C outdated and not cleaned. It makes a lot of noise when working and throw dust in all the room. We decided to stop it and to have a cold night, so we keep our clothes on. For the rest, the room was clean. The bathroom is very small. Our room was on side of the hotel so we didn't got noise from the road. I'll not come back.

Great place to stay, easy off and on from highway 99, southbound or northbound. Hotel staff at front desk is very good. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Property nice too. Have stayed here many times and certainly recommend it!

Overall a good place to stay. The rooms are a bit dated but they keep them clean and the maintence seems to be good. The staff at this location I think is better than average across most hotels. Staff was very nice

Woke up in the melee of the night to leaking window, tried to deal with but finally called desk at 5:30am. Got an oh, your window is leaking, almost like they knew it was an issue. Was told he couldn't deal with it right now because he was making breakfast. He called back later and offered to move us to a room on the first floor near the road, we were on the second floor tucked away. He made it clear there World be no refund or discount. Since we were going to have to move all our stuff anyway, decided to just check out and find a different hotel for our second night. Would never recommend a stay here!

I got a King suite and the room was large and very clean. The property was pretty and well maintained. We used the jacuzzi because it was too cold to go swimming and it was also very clean. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast had several options from bagels, cereal waffles, breads and on the Sunday it was eggs and biscuits and gravy. Everything was well stocked.

Good location and best hotel property in area. I have stayed at other properties only because of late making reservation. I make early reservations now and returned to BW Palm Court. Friendly Staff. Room and property clean and well maintained. Morning breakfast fair some mornings, good other mornings. I would like to see of course a European style morning selection with cheese's and cold cuts, more fruit and more crossant and bread choices. Access to many non-fast food, good restaurants.

This was the first local BW for me after moving from home i was in. I appreciate the staff and how hard they work. Points can be posted to accounts sooner from what I gathered. Laundry on site is great ( costly though ;) ). Nice pool area. Add more food ;).

Great customer service upon checking in, the night auditor was awesome he waited for my friend's and I to arrive we came from Riverside and it took us longer than what we expect. Everything in room was nice and clean. I really like your pillows lol

Room is spacious if you book with two queen beds. Very clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathtub seems to be an issue with other hotels I've been to but Best Western has not disappointed me yet.

The room when I arrived was very clean. The room was nice and quiet. Idid not hear any screaming kids or heavy foot steps in the room above me. Considering my room and the distance from the highway and a city street running between the two, inside my room stayed very quiet over all.

Found the hotel was in good working order and clean with a friendly staff. They were helpful and kept my room clean. Good breakfast spread. As a diabetic, would have liked some sugar free syrup and jellies and that's about the only negative. My stay there was quiet.

Good, clean, reasonably priced, pleasant staff. Although there were a number of workers for a large paving company (and their trucks) staying there, they left after I arrived and were gone all night - so the evening was quiet. I didn't partake of the complimentary breakfast.

Our room opened directly onto a courtyard, where it was easy to walk our pets. People were keeping the pet area very clean, so you didn't have to worry where you might be stepping. The lobby and breakfast area are nicely done and 2 people were keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean.

150.0 is a bit much for the dated room, rough small hotel towels and strange square small pillows- I did not go to breakfast so I cannot comment on that- bed was ok could be softer- I picked this hotel because it was away from the train- but I could still hear it at 6am also I did not like that all the rooms were accessible from outside- I prefer one entrance through the lobby and locked external hall doors that require a key- so I would not stay here again-

The staff at this location are quick to respond to any request and are helpful. They go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a good one. I will definitely stay at this location again. The AC worked great as well.

Hotel is clean and staff looks like they are constantly cleaning. On 9/27 The customer service however, is absolutely terrible. The Lady from the front desk called our room screaming checkout was 30 minutes ago! We were confused thinking we had the room for one more day. We were staying there, because my spouse just had surgery and was staying there for recovery. We were going to stay there a whole week, but after receiving terrible customer service I will not give them my money and never will again. I've never stayed at a hotel where they didn't ask me for a late checkout or to extend my stay. I have never been yelled at to leave my room.

The hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping centers which was nice. The pool outside was amazing perfect temp no matter what time it was, although it could've used some cleaning and the hot tub wouldn't work really which was a bummer but then it was 100 degrees out so really didn't need to use the hot tub lol. Overall it was a nice experience if we ever happen to go back to Modesto we will definitely stay here again.

Not up to the usual Best Western quality and service. Needs remodeling/redecorating. Was promised one price but desk knew nothing about it when we arrived in late hours of the evening. Finally got it resolved before leaving.

When we entered the room it smelled very fresh and clean. The beds were comfortable. The noise level was low, which was great. The refrigerator temperature could not be adjusted, however. Very nice amount of food for breakfast.

Nothing special, but clean and quiet. Be sure and choose a courtyard room, you can barely hear traffic noise. Exercise room is closed at this time, hope it opens soon. The grab and go breakfast is adequate for a child, but maybe not an adult so grab two.

really recommend this Hotel very clean and employees are friendly. Every time I go to Modesto never hesitate on looking for a Hotel this is my favorite one and only!!! especially when you care for family safety due to this pandemic.

The carpet was really nasty. The housekeeping was really loud as I could hear them from inside my room talking loud outside. The lady with gray hair in the front desk was rude. I stayed for two nights bc my family is sick at home and I wanted to stay for another one but she said no because I'm not an essential worker.

I have stayed here a couple of times and the place is a hidden gem. This last time was for an extended time. Comfortable, relaxing, clean, quiet. Beautiful courtyard facing rooms. Front desk, Housekeepers and maintenance workers were super helpful and respectful. Covid restricted some of the amenities this last time, but they made sure everything was super clean, and accommodated you if you had any special requests. They went the extra mile. I have stayed at other well known hotels in the area and across the states, but this is one of my favorites!

Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning and reliable WiFi at almost 4Mbps. The included breakfast was adequate. We stayed only night, just to rest, in the middle of a road trip. For this type of use, the property was great and we would happily stay here again.

Best Western is a very reliable place to stay in most locations. This one, however, is beginning to age. It is very well booked every time I have been here--about five visits. Parking lot gets very full with large vehicles representing a lot of construction workers staying here.

Room interior was quite nice, but noisy, listening to freeway on on farthest away room on property. Rude guests, noisy outside of rooms at 1 am, 4am, and pounding on doors at 6am. Sketchy neighborhood, abandoned businesses, closed restaurants. Breakfast is pastry, granola bar, tangerine, bottle of house or water. Sad experience at a chain I frequently stay with.

We stayed in a standard king room. Although the room was fairly small, I was impressed with what they did with the space. Everything appeared to be nicely updated. There is a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge, Shower/tub combination, hairdryer. The walls were not thin so we did not hear people throughout the night. Breakfast is included, but due to Covid it is a grab n go from the lobby. The only thing I would change is the door to the bathroom (which is barn style) slides closed, but is frosted glass so when you have the light on in the bathroom, it shines directly into the room. This hotel is in close proximity to restaurants and we ate at a great mexican restaurant that was a couple doors down from the hotel on the same street.

It was a good experience me and my fiance had a wonderful time and would definitely come back. We would reccomend this motel to everyone we know. Our family and friends would love to come to this hotel also.

We've stayed here before and we'll most likely stay here again. However, with the new pot shop across the street, the security needs to be stepped up to prevent the shop's customers smoking in the hotel parking lot. Staff was great, as was the room. Great breakfast too!

This hotel went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. They held my room the entire night (I was stuck on the 58 freeway because of the snow). When I arrived, I was given my room right away. They really made me feel like they cared. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The breakfast options are great.

We stayed here for a full week while in town to visit family during Christmas. This property was very well kept and the staff was wonderful! It's not fancy, but it's clean and friendly. Exactly what you want if you're looking for a good bed and shower while visiting Modesto. Breakfast was fine, fresh and hot each morning! If your visit is about visiting the area, then this is a great option!

First I looked for HBO per their channel list attached but I didn't get anything so I called the front desk. The girl at the desk couldn't tell me if they had HBO so she put me on hold for several minutes then came back and said NO we don't have HBO. Fine no HBO no problem. Later as I was freezing and the heater blew cold air before heat every few minutes. We called and asked for a blanket. She didn't know if they had one but would see if she could find one. About 5 minutes later she called to say she found a blanket but we needed to come and pick it up ourselves, we didn't! The next day my husband called and asked for extra coffee but again NO ONE to bring it, we would have to come get it, we didn't! Also they take one pillow cut it in half so you get two half pillows!! They wash the pillows so the cotton inside is knotted up little lumps!! THIS IS THE WORST BEST WESTERN WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN AND WE ARE MEMBERS!!! Best Western was our go to hotel! I will have to rethink my hotel choices from now on!

The hotel is near restaurants, but no working shower. Stayed 2 days and the person before us had reported the shower but it did not get fixed. After I reported it they said they knew it was not working properly. They offered us a shower in another room but I was not about to carry my stuff to another room just to take a shower.

We had traveled quit a distance for the holiday and this was close to where we needed to go. This is a nice place to stay and pet friendly. Thanks again for making our trip great. Till next time when we are back in town

Originally, we checked into a hotel downtown, only to check back out because of traffic noise and other tenant noise. This hotel was a peaceful place to retreat to. Friendly staff and comfy beds. Thanks!

Room was very clean an comfortable. Found the mattress to be extra hard and a lot like cardboard but if your not a big person and its just a night, it was not so bad. The only disappointing part of the say was looking forward to the free buffet breakfast and finding TWO BUSSES of Foreign Visitors line out the door in their small eating area which we had to then skip breakfast. Then the front desk did not want to CREDIT us for the Breakfast we paid for. Did not want to weight 2 hours to get in for breakfast as this was at 7AM. I guess this location gets busses all the time so dont pay for the breakfast.

Stayed one night for business. First, whatever they clean the room with smells very strong and not pleasant to smell. It was like they were trying to cover up some sort of odor. My room location was facing the freeway so very noisy. Be nice if they had dual pane windows. The room was clean but tired looking. The morning breakfast was typical but they didn't offer butter for the waffles. The price was a good value.

Hotel in the middle of nowhere in Modesto, far from the city center, 1 night stay in a West US trip. Rooms and breakfast were correct. Arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning, nothing more to add

Where to start, this hotel refused my pre-paid debit card which I use all over the US at other Best Western . Our tv in the bedroom didn't work, the vending machines were not filled, and we had to have maintenance work on the hotel room door because it wouldn't stay shut. This hotel was most definitely not one of my favorites and it will not be a stop for future visits.

As an escape from our busy daytime events, this was close to the freeway without being effected by the freeway noise. Nice and quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms could use a bit of freshening of decor, but not so much out of date to be uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. It was nice, clean and comfortable. Next time I will ask for a room that faces the courtyard only because people were outside late hanging out in the parking lot. The courtyard would be a little more peaceful. The rooms are a little on the small side and have an awkwardly big desk chair that just seems to be in the way no matter where you move it. They have a great breakfast that's included in your stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. We will be staying here again.

While this is not a luxury hotel, it is a very well run motel. The room was clean and well appointed. While we didn't use the pool, it looked clean and families were enjoying it. The breakfast is basic fare, but very adequate, plus open very early for those that need to get out and away first thing. Will definitely stay again!

Very comfortable,clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options including cold and hot cereals, sausage and eggs, do it self Belgium's waffles. A choice of juice, and many muffins danish bagels and other breakfast breads. All topped off with biscuits and gravy.

Wheelchair access too! The breakfast is good the people are nice and the pool and hot tub are a plus as well. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future if I had to stay in Modesto again

This was our second stay here and both times we have been completely satisfied. The courtyard provides a comforting view of beautiful landscaping and the pool/spa is conveniently located as is the breakfast area.

I just wish the price was more affordable but the stay was very wonderful food was terrificall staff was so friendly the spa and pool was clean I loved the room we were in close to the laundry room the fitness room

Stayed here a few nights while visiting in Modesto. Early in the week, it was mellow and very nice to stay. Later in the week it got very busy and the pool was packed during open hours (and beyond). The location was perfect for what we needed. I love Maria's Tacos which is a block away. The streets can be a bit sketchy at night in this neighborhood, but the hotel was nice. This was definitely one of the better Best Westerns we stayed at on our trip. Breakfast was great.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting family on Modesto. We had a little gathering at the pool with food for several hours. Staff was great and offered extra towels. Waffles were great too! Room was nice and overall stay was nice. Good value. The last night there was a little noisy by the pool due to some partiers, but not too bad for a Saturday night.

Overall stay was comfortable and clean. House keeping does a great job! The facility was clean inside and out. The gardeners did a great job daily. The patio was always kept and trash was always being picked up.

Our room had an odor, and the a/c wasn't working properly. There was drug deals in the parking lot. Breakfast was okay. Same thing, eggs and sausage. We won't be going back this location. We have been Best Western customers for years. Some are a hit and miss. And this one was a miss.

On a cross-country road trip, this is the best hotel we've stayed in so far! Very clean, thanks to Wanda according to the card in the room :) beds were very comfortable, pillows soft, bathroom was also impeccably clean. The bathtub/shower was spacious and had great water pressure. Got Domino's delivered with no issues. Could hear some noise in the Courtyard but we were in the back so it didnt get too loud. Check-in and out were quick easy and the person at the desk was very friendly.

So bad... This hotel had the best reviews so we picked based on that. This was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. We were on the first floor on the courtyard. Walls are paper thin. There were people in the pool at least until midnight, screaming. We called and the management did nothing. There were people smoking and drinking outside until 2am. The pillows are lumpy rocks, the bed is hard but we finally fell asleep. At 6am people started filling up their coolers from the ice maker outside our door. The breakfast was ok, there was food. No good tea. Before we left we took a shower. It was the icing on the cake! The water is lukewarm and dribbles out (see picture). If you are a smoker with a lot of kids who scream a lot and don't need a shower or a pillow this is the place for you!

We expected noise and chaos but were happily surprised. There were quiet rooms, well maintained grounds, ample parking—- and the pleasant staff kept the included breakfast fully supplied despite the groups coming through in a hurry not to miss the events. We know the service will be exemplary on days much less hectic than this.

A cat-allergic friend was coming to visit, and with two cats at home there was no choice but to hold our "slumber party" elsewhere. Our room was clean, spacious with two queen beds, nice-sized bathroom, a sitting area and a pseudo-kitchen of microwave and mini-fridge. We were set, having brought slumber party snacks and drinks. There is also a nice hotel-style breakfast offered, besides restaurants and fast food places close by if one gets hungry for something to eat. Easy freeway access from North or South

The hotel was conveniently located. The room was clean. Hotel was well organized. Parking was well lit and close to room. Hotel staff were friendly, professional, curtious and efficient. All in all a good stay.

Property was conveniently located half way between Yosemite and San Francisco airport so we gave it a try. Overall the property was clean except for our bathroom which could have taken a little more effort. The breakfast area was large and adequate. We appreciated the early starting time of 5:30 am for breakfast as we were headed for the the airport and wanted to beat the traffic.

This is my first time back at this hotel in over a decade and let me tell you it's not what I remembered! The rooms are VERY SPACIOUS, they have a sofa, mini fridge, microwave and a CEILING FAN!! The rooms are clean and and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is close to the freeway but once you're inside the sound is minimal. The beds and pillows are comfortable too! Will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed for one night at this motel on a Cosmos tour. Motel is well run rooms clean and comfortable big beds inside facing rooms are peaceful for a good nights sleep.A reasonable free breakfast with some good items. There is not a lot of room in breakfast room. A few restaurants within walking distance. All in all a good nights rest.

I liked the design of the outside of the motel. I would recommend this motel all the time. I like the location- it was right in the middle of where my 2 sons live. It was also a few blocks away from several good restaurants Modesto, CA. is a nice big city. .

We stayed for 2 nights so we could go to our God grandson's first birthday party. The stay was fabulous and he had a wonderful time visiting than coming back to our room to relax in excellent working air conditioning.

The Best Western Palm Court is a great place to stay. It is an excellent value, and the service of their Team is excellent. They are always friendly and supportive. I have enjoyed my stays here and find it to be generally to be a quiet and restful place.

Stayed here as had business in Modesto the following morning. Hotel grounds clean, immaculately decortated, and maintained. Ample property parking surrounds the property. Check in was fast and professional and was given a suite room, on the quiet courtyard side of the property. One immediate issue was that the room was upstairs, we had several heavy luggage pieces, and there is no elevator...so, be advised. Room was clean and met our needs. Bed was comfortable King. One issue here was the dim lighting, but we made due for one night stay. All items in room worked. Breakfast is standard motel fare...eggs, sausage, toast, sweet rolls, fruit, cereal, waffle maker, juice, and coffee. It was OK, will get you going for the morning. One big disappointment for me was we had an important business meeting the next day so before I went to bed I requested a early morning wake up call. None ever came...fortunately, I woke up in time to get ready and make my meeting. However, upon check out I was asked about my stay..I mentioned requesting a wake up call the night before, was assured it would be forthcoming, and never received one. The clerk checking me out only replied "oh no"...no apology, no nothing. Poor service IMO. Overall though it was quiet, comfortable, and got a good price for our stay.

Great location within distance to restaurants and shopping centers. Hospitality of staff is welcoming. If you are looking for a quality hotel with immaculate grounds keeping and clean hotel rooms at a reasonable price this is the place.

A gem in Modesto. Easy to access by public transportation from the train station. Our train arrived late and we had to change plans at the last minute, leading to the discovery of this excellent inn. Stores and restaurants close by. Excellent find, great value.

Staff is very nice in this hotel, which is probably a saving grace, along with its location and the bed. All are very good. On the downside, a previous review mentioned the gap under the door, to which the manager replied that it was being fixed. How long would that take exactly? You can have gaps under a door that leads to an inside hall (which this hotel doesn't have), but not under a door leading outside (which vermin can get under in a heartbeat). Not only is that an unpleasant thought, but outside parking lot noises are that much louder. Had to lay a towel out on the floor and jam it against the door. Manager, you need to pay attention and follow up if your hotel is to be worth the prices charged these days. Likewise, the breakfast is ok, typical with the usual cereals, scrambled (powdered?) eggs, the basic (not upgraded) sausage, and a way to make a waffle. The coffee was the best part. Again, kudos to the nice staff and the maids, but fix those doors and upgrade the breakfast just a tad...and your establishment will be worth 4 stars. Oh, and when you offer an HBO channel, check the quality once in awhile...could've been weather? (See pic)

hadnt been in Modesto for a long time and suprised at the reasonable price I was able to get when I had to go thete for business. Pro[erty was in great condition and personal gave great service. The breakfest was great no sure but the eggs weren't dried out usually powdered eggs are used but I think these were real. was great to start with the breakfast and coffee very good.have to come back for additional business and will stay here again.

We stayed here based on good reviews across the board, and they are well deserved. It is easy to find right off highway 99. Our check in was fast and the night clerk recommend a room in the back part for less noise. All of the rooms face outward, and the main road is noisy. Our king room was very clean, nice amenities, great shower with extra points for a tall shower head. It was a good size for 2, 3 might be tight. The breakfast has a good selection - scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, yogurt, breads, fruit with plenty of room to sit. All of the employees we encountered were friendly. The parking lot is narrow so fyi if you have a bigger vehicle or towing. We highly recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and the staff was pleasant and professional. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Today they offered waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, toast, a variety of fresh fruit, milk and juice.

I find that BW are great to stay at, specifically that it comes with breakfast which sometimes can be a challenge to figure out what to eat in the morning and search for a restaurant. By having this available to your guest makes it convenient!

This motel was a great place tostay. Friendly staff and very helpful. Room was clean and very appealing, comfort bed. Breakfast area was clean and items to chose from were plenty. I would definately recommend this motel to others.

Checked in during the middle of the night with no previous booking. They were able to accommodate my request for a double bed. The girl at the front desk had zero bedside manner, but aside from that my stay was quite pleasant! The room was nice and clean. The location of our room looked as if we were in a courtyard. It was quiet all night long. It was a short walk to the breakfast area in the main office. The breakfast served was very nice. A plentiful selection. Sausage, eggs, cereals, pastries, fruit, juice . . etc. I'd stay here again and I do recommend it to others!

Nice little hotel which fulfills your needs quiet easily. Rooms were spacious and clean, full of amenities to back your stay easy. Breakfast was ok and was kept full and clean during the busy breakfast rush. Additional seating was provided in a room around the corner aswell which was handy. Great staff.

Stayed for a night. Room was clean and spacious. Wifi was very strong. An outdoor pool is available for those who like to have a dip. Breakfast spread was below expectation - a wider array of food will be a welcome change.. Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay.

Check in was great, got an upgrade to a suite. Very nice surprise. However, the room was kind of smelly, the door did not close and lock with out jiggling it. The shower leaked of you weren't careful of the shower curtain placement, plus the shower curtain rail was barely attached to the wall.

The facilities and the room were very clean. Breakfast was a disappointment. The front desk attendant was VERY helpful in telling us which of the local bars and clubs to go to, and where to get breakfast, which was very nice.

I was winding up a very stressful business trip. I needed to relax and enjoy a peaceful environment. The staff at the Best Western were very pleasant and out going in the efforts to make my stay very enjoyable. As I found typical in the area, they were very warm and cordial. Although I am now back in Southern California, I will definitely look for a Best Western for my next hotel stays. If the employees are truly representative of the company; this one was very warm, helpful, professional, and genuinely caring about their clients. Good value.

I really loved staying at your hotel. Had a really good vacation! The lobby was especially nice looking and the location was great with many places to eat within walking distance. My grandson and I loved the pool!

This hotel isn't fancy but a great value for the money. It was clean, had a nice free breakfast, helpful staff and a pool. We had a very late check in and the front desk was very helpful and made sure we got to our room ok with our luggage. The free breakfast in the morning is a nice plus. They have waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereals, assorted danish, fresh fruits and yogurts. Good for a quick bite before heading out for the day.

Checking was a pleasure. I was greeted with a smiling face.The young lady saw that I was a Diamond Member, welcomed me , my room had beeen upgraded and she told me about the points I was getting. Check out was a breeze.

This hotel is in fact a motel. There was an inch wide gap around our room door. The room and bathroom were both spacious but not very comfortable and not too clean either. As we were only there for one night I didn't use the shower as it did not look clean. Modesto is an awful place and did not feel safe to wander round in.

We were on a bus tour and stayed for just one night. Unfortunately we were allocated a small room facing the Freeway and main road where traffic noise could be heard loudly throughout the night. This was made worse by large gaps around our front door resulting in a very poor night's sleep. It is a shame because the facilities were ok, pool was nice (with tiny towels provided), breakfast was fine and staff friendly. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but a busy road to cross if walking.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last week during a road trip vacation. The room was very nice, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely stay there again.

The room at this Best Western was clean and comfortable but the breakfast was very ordinary. The lady serving breakfast was very sweet and taking good care if the clients. This hotel is close to the autoroute and easily accessible.

This place has nice rooms, showers and lovely pillows. There are numerous eateries around and the breakfast was nice and filling. There is a pharmacy about 3/4 mile away which sells alcohol (amazing) so we had a nice drink that evening.

We used the hotel as a base for a family reunion and it was great. There was about 20 of us and all were pleased. Rooms were clean, beds were nice, breakfast was good, and the pool was great!! We will definitely stay here again. Great location too!

My husband and i stayed only for one night, but it was a good stay. The room was clean although it can use some more up to date design. We got the suite so it was spacious. The bed was comfortable and environment was quiet. Breakfast is a big plus. And i requested to have a late checkout and they accommodated me, which is a big plus for them. Overall our stay was very good.

We have stayed with this hotel several times and always feel very satisfied with the room and people / service. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very big which was wonderful! Breakfast is yummy!

If you are looking for a place to rest before visiting San Francisco, this is the place. The rooms are very nice and the staff is absolutely amazing. The lady encharged of the complimentary breakfast was very nice. She kept checking on us to make sure we had what we had what we needed. She took the time to check on every single guess. The place is quiet and the parking lot is lighted property. Overall this hotel is excellent.

I had never stayed at a Best Western and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was vey nicely appointed, had everything I needed and looked out onto a lovely courtyard. I felt safe and very comfortable here. The hair dryer did not work and the carpet could have been vacuumed a bit more but overall it was otherwise clean and well appointed.

This was a great experience. My family was displaced due to a house fire and they were very kind to us. They have security that does a great job as well. I was able to stay for two days for approximately 225 dollars. The breakfast was wonderful. Most of the Best Western's that I have stayed at have been nice like this one in Modesto.

While the pillows, mattress, and blankets really need to be upgraded, and the room by the stairs was pretty noisy, the awesome breakfast nearly makes up for it. Good waffles with tons of toppings. My girls made yogurt parfaits because there was coconut, chocolate chips, granola, raisins, whipped cream and sprinkles. There was also sausage and eggs and the usual other items.

Quiet environment and facing a nicely landscaped courtyard. Handicap parking was nearby in this case. Full breakfast was phenomenal in an extremely comfortable, dedicated space with an abundance of tables.

My odor free room, the bed, the wonderful person at the front desk that checked me in - One of the best stays I had on this 2 week trip. I will be back to this BW. I don't know for sure what more I can say.

We spent one night at the Best Western Palm Court Inn and we had a very good experience. The room was big, clean, with wi-fi, tv, microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. The hotel grounds are very pleasant, with beautiful landscapes. The hotel also has a pool. Additionally, they serve a very complete hot breakfast. Excellent! We would love to return to this hotel.

Upon arrival the room look to be clean. Less than an hour in there was a condom wrapper found next to the bed. The manager at the front desk was willing to do a refund but could not due to it being booked through a third-party website. They offered to upgrade to a suite and that room seemed cleaner. I contacted the Company that I purchased the room at online, they told me I would only need proof from the hotel and they would refund me. Unfortunately the hotel is going back on their word saying they never offered a refund they gave me a sweet instead and that is not what had happened. I have now had to talk to more than three people going back-and-forth not sure what the big issue is it's not like you can lie about a condom wrapper being found next to your bed. Obviously these rooms were not clean thorough. I am hoping that they at least clean the bedsheets in the room that we stayed in.

Good location, good service, good breakfast, good parking, friendly staff, clean environment and easily accessible. Next time I will ask for a room on the back side for a more quite room. Altogether this is a good place to rest.

The grounds well kept and front desk staff are on top of their work. Food is average, but that's ok. The room was clean and well presented. However, be aware of noisy upstairs room, stiff bed and pillows.

Hotel was close to highway and easy to find. Check in was quick and we parked and found our room. Room looked good and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was limited but ok. It was nice to have a room on the courtyard which I'm sure was quieter.

Gang shoot out at 11:30pm, no police showing up. Room very dated and not as clean, found hairs in the tub. Earwig in the bathroom. Light fixture in the bedroom area without bulb. Guests smoking Pot and drinking alcohol next door until 2 am. Couldn't wait for the sun to come up and check out.

This was another stop on our motorcycle trip. The hotel is on a busy street, which appears a bit "sketchy", so the rooms facing the inner courtyard are the best. This location is close to lots of restaurants & grocery stores.

with no security and no help from the front desk, we endured a hell of a night New Year's Eve. The very fact we had to endure the experience was unacceptable and the reality there was no security and no one to help says everything about why not to stay there.

The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful. The room was super tight and cramped. The fit and finish in the room were awful. It looked like a third-rate carpenter did the job. The handle on the shower was loose and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable they were too firm. The pillows were terrible and uncomfortable as well. The outside of the building was well maintained. My overall experience was poor. I will find other accommodations.

Private company using this property for housing employees. Noisy. Diesel service truck in and out all night. At least 1 sex worker in and out of the property. Came out in the morning to find $1800 worth of damage to our car by one of the previously mentioned service trucks. Barely got any rest.

This was more a motel than a hotel frankly. We chose it because it is pet friendly but there are other options we should have taken. For being remodeled in 2013, the hotel had lots of issues. Lamp shades did not have attachments to keep them on the lamp. Wall outlets were pushing into the wall or couldn't hold a cord in place so it would get power. And the room above had a leak in their tub that caused a leak into our tub. And it looks like they deactivated their HBO service. Very disappointing. Chose another hotel.

Front desk clerk had notice i had a dog . And when she rudy implied if my dog was staying in the suite witn me i stated yes. She rudely started shuffling around the keys card slamming things around the area amd swiping the key to activated it but durimg all the shuffling didmt realize she did not activate the card properly. She rudely ask me is my dog eas staying in the room wby didnt i tell her i tild hee its all noted in the system she was mad that she litterally slammed the key card on the vkunter and roughly slided the card my way. If i wkuld of not had left my hand and place on the counter no dount the xard would of had hit me in the chest or had hit my servive dog.

Definitely recommend this location because of value for stay. Rooms aren't quite as big as some other locations, but still had a very pleasant stay. Very friendly staff is always nice too. Nice to be near restaurants also if you choose not to take advantage of free breakfast offered

We stayed for 2 nights while conducting family business. Location is near freeway, shopping and easily accessible. The staff, especially in the breakfast dining area, was terrific. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful as well. Not fancy, but clean, quiet, decent breakfast.

Have stayed here several times and the hotel always seems to be well run. Good location in the middle of Modesto and close to the freeway, without the freeway noise. Nice pool and hot tub and beautiful grounds. Good beds!

Stayed for 2 nights while taking a job exam and traveling. The room was very nice and clean, with no major issues. The fridge seemed to freeze everything no matter the setting, and my card (as well as the room next to mine) wouldn't work one morning, but neither were huge issues.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, breakfast of flufly, moist scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, selected breads, waffles, cereals and fresh fruit. Near many restaurants, a drugstore, and just off Rte 99.

This was a stop along a cross country move from Southwest Florida to Seattle, Washington. We were traveling with our rescue dog, so it was necessary to find properties and make reservations ahead of time. I researched tripadvisor, as I always do before making reservations, and this trip was no exception. It's my "go to" before reserving anywhere! So, there were not a lot of options being that Modesto was the end point for the day. I can only say that if I travel through again with our dog, I will choose a different property and perhaps city. Is this an example of Modesto, I have no clue, but this property is run down and there were a lot of scary people lurking about. Since this was only one night, I can at least say that everything in the room was functional however worn out it was. The front desk people were perfectly unfriendly to the point of seeming depressed. Anyway, read all reviews as I do, and take a chance. And P.S. it was far and away the most expensive Best Western property in all six nights of travel.

Needed to be in Modesto for a weekend. This hotel is one of the few there which has a Triple A three diamond rating. Provided decent value and a good location for our functions. Some noise at night but nothing excessive.

Nothing too fancy, but the room was clean and the staff were friendly. The walls are extremely thin. I could hear casual talk at 5:30 am from the room next door and again the next day easily heard talking from the other room. Walls are very thin.

We're certainly not in this for the points. I may die before My status is upgraded but the hotels are consistent and comfortable. The breakfast is hot and tasty, the staff is welcoming and we can always find a BW.

Clean room, friendly helpful staff, clean grounds, average continental breakfast. Safe area right off freeway. Didn't use pool/sauna but looked clean. Could use an ice/beverage machine on top floor area.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pet friendly with yard for dogs was a draw. Typical motel breakfast - I would say fair. Overall stay was very good. Express check out was convenient. They were generous with 12:00 pm late check out.

We stayed here last weekend because we were going to our granddaughter's wedding. From the time we checked on Thursday, until we checked out on Tuesday, everyone at the facility was friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, plenty of food. We had an inner courtyard room and even though there were buses staying each weekend night, it was a very quiet place. We will definitely make this our hotel of choice when we are back in Modesto.

I stay here whenever in Modesto. The front desk is always friendly and professional, rooms well appointer and clean, and the property well maintained. I was offered an upgrade to a larger room at no additional charge. Very nice!

Rooms are very small with furniture that doesn't suite the small rooms (for example chair with arms so it doesn't fit under the desk and there is no room to pass between the chair and the bed). The carpet was wet which wasn't pleasant under foot. Our room faced the car park with direct access to the main road which didn't feel safe. The good was the bed, very comfy and the breakfast with a mix of hot and cold food.

Stayed overnight on a recent trip to Northern California. Great location off Hwy. 99. Comfortable room and a pretty good breakfast too! Pet friendly with space to walk your dog. Nothing fancy, but great for the money!

Stayed here one night on our way up north. Great location off Hwy 99. Good rooms and service from the front desk clerk. Breakfast was pretty good too! Pet friendly with room to walk our dog. Overall a pretty decent place to stop and get some rest!

This is an aging hotel but has all the necessary amenities to make your stay in Modesto pleasant. It is not the Ritz but is clean and well managed. All staff are pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

For the money this is a very good value for the area.Rooms are very clean, Walls are thin, but noise is part of most of these types of hotels and we have stayed here on two occasions, and did not lose any sleep. The rooms on the courtyard are the best, you are further away from your car, but are away from the parking lot. Beds are very comfortable , and breakfast is fresh, and you have a nice selection

Older, but well maintained grounds and room. Quiet property, yet easy access from the 99. I like the courtyard. Simple breakfast fare. Suites are very spacious. People are friendly. Pool is clean, exercise room is modest. Just a good experience!

Enjoyed our nights stay at this Best Western. Clean comfortable beds and linen. Good supply of towels, tea/coffee. Fridge, microwave, to all serviceable. Excellent laundry facility with powder available to purchase for 1$ and machine wash 1.25$ same for dryer. 15 min walk to shopping outlet. Nearby eateries are closer. On,y go to the pit,et is you want branded cloth g or shoes. Cinema in that area too.

Room: Quiet, clean, tiny but fully equipped: refrig w/frzr, microwave, hair dryer/iron and extra towels (new/relatively "plush"), great air conditioner that was actually on when we arrived in 100 degree heat; electrical outlets in base of lamps (only plugs for chargers, etc other than one in bathroom) all broken; TV channels would freeze, break up in middle of a show! Internet worked fairly well most of the time. Took 2 days and 2 requests to get a light bulb changed as no maintenance person on staff the day I called and no system apparently for recording maintenance calls. Billing problem (overcharge and failed to live up to verbal offer of a discount) that took quite a bit of effort on my part to work out and not a very generous emergency rate policy for victims of a state disaster (fire evac). Housekeeping staff terrific. Gym was the pits...broken/never repaired air conditioner, dirty/never cleaned and broken equipment never fixed in full week's stay.

Great Place to stay if you are in Modesto Close to the mall and restaurants and the freeway If you are connecting with the the dairy industry or the Almond industry you will be in the heart of both. Blue Diamond Almond is just down the road and there gift shop is great. If you are interested in Wineries their are a lot there too.

I was attending a conference, and i stayed at this Hotel because my Wife wanted to bring our pet because we had just returned form a long trip and she did not want to take her right back to the doggie inn, that is why we stayed here because it was pet friendly. the breakfast was very good

We arrived around 10pm, coming from Yosemite. it is a long drive (3 - 4 hours). The hotel staff was friendly, we got our room. It was an average hotel room, can't remember any details (bad or good). Breakfast was very good! The lady was friendly and was willing to help us with everything! Bacon was really good! So were the pancakes.

We were driving from Los Angeles to Sacramento and we were running late. We searched hotels in the Modesto area and found this property. We often choose Best Western and have always had a positive experience. This stay was no exception. The check-in was fast and easy (even without a reservation) and the room was fresh and clean with all of the usual amenities.

We stayed here at the BW Palm Court Inn and totally enjoyed it. Very lovely grounds, nice room with top quality decor, beds, etc. Pool and jacuzzi were great, breakfast had a nice selection and all the people, at every level were friendly and professional.

Stayed two night here. Hotel is clean, staff was nice, but the bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked Very poorly, and for being in a suit the bathroom was very cramped. Also there was mold in the shower grout.

Clean room. Clean bathroom. Complimentary breakfast. This hotel has only two levels, Book lower i.e.ground floor as no lift for the next level. Otherwise no issues. Restaurants are also close by, walking distance.

I had a good stay here. All the staff is helpful, the rooms are clean, however, book a room in the lower level as there is no elevator to the second floor. For me, the bed was harder than I am use to but that's a personal preference that I wouldn't hold against the hotel. All in all, for the cost (including a breakfast with sufficient variety of items) and the location, I would definitely stay there again.

Looking for a place to spend the night that was halfway from Yosemite to San Francisco. The room rate was very affordable but the rooms were fair. Lobby is clean. Did not eat the complimentary breakfast as there weren't much of a choice, line was slow as all the items were Bunched together so we drove down the road.

We have been visiting Modesto for many years and have stayed at no less that eight motels there. The Best Western Palm Court Inn tops them all. We chose the Palm Court Inn this time because we are Best Western fans and its price was especially competitive. The rooms were impeccably prepared, although the mini-sized bed pillows were disappointing and hard, too. As with most Best Westerns we have visited, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide array of hot dishes, cold cereals, pastries, juices and fruit. However, the coffee was pretty awful, perhaps half as strong as it should have been. Additionally, our welcoming and departing desk clerks were pleasant and professional. Over all, this is a great place to stay in Modesto.

I've stayed here twice and had great experiences each time. Facilities are extremely clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Easy parking and close to several restaurants within walking distance. If I could ask for one improvement it would be for better coffee in the morning. Other than that, everything was great.

After a big song and dance, and calling corporate hq due to their pet policy being unfindable on their web site (the gal at hq couldn't find it either) I was given the local phone number. I was quoted a premium price plus pet fee and was willing to pay it - only to be told at the last minute that my (clean, polite, quiet, trained) dog exceeds their 40lb weight limit by 4lbs ... so no deal. For heaven's sake, why not state your policy, arbitrary though it may be, *clearly* on your web site - or for that matter, on your web site at all? All I wanted to do was make a reservation quickly and easily ... instead, I'm now irritated enough to post this. Enough time wasted - moving on!

Very comfortable room, large size, and quiet. Motel was easy to locate and is on a main thoroughfare through Modesto. Furnishings in the room were good and up to date. Air conditioning worked very well and was quiet.

Booked in for the first night of a driving holiday of NW USA. very jet lagged but the place was very clean, quiet and comfortable with a nice pool, friendly service, close to family restaurants. Highly recommended.

Considering that all the mid priced motels are lined up along the same street near Highway 99 in Modesto, this would seem to be the best to us. The room was very clean and showed no wear and tear at all. In fact, I wondered if the property had been recently remodeled given the up to date decor. Bed was comfortable, towels were fluffy, and the shower had good water pressure. The property has above average landscaping and was well taken care of. We had requested a room facing the courtyard (a must due to the highway noise and train common to all the motels) and when we were assigned an outside room, the receptionist promptly changed it to a room off the courtyard in the back of the property. There was still some muffled highway noise but nothing that kept us awake. The included breakfast was served in a sunny, pleasant room and the buffet was kept fresh and filled. Overall, it was all good and I wish all the places we stay were as well managed.

Very clean, nice rooms, lovely courtyard, close to freeways & many restaurants. I have stayed here before and enjoyed it which is why I returned. Good value, nice outdoor pool & hot tub. Breakfast had tasty scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, bread & bagels for toasting, muffins. I think that's it.

This place is a gem. Very clean and convenient off the highway. 24 hour store around the corner and 24 hour dining across the street. You won't go wrong staying here. The breakfast is fresh and items plenty. Great all around and cost is in line for the value. Don't pass this one up.

i book the room about one month in advance thru booking.com check/in time they could not find my reservation young lady at the front desk she wanted give me a room but i wanted sort it out how they lost my reservation i called booking.com problem was solved in timely manner i got the key to room very clean&roomy two separate tv sofa chair computer desk microwave mini fridge good breakfast lady serving breakfast taking care of every body like mom making waffle check on every table if they need anything i call her super lady very rare to find employee like her thanks palm court having people like her starting my day really good because of her

Chose the hotel via pictures and reviews. Nice location. Has a nice outdoor pool, hot tub, hot breakfast with many breakfast items to chose from. Was very happy with out stay at Best Western Palms Court, Modesto, Ca. Very nice desk staff.

Very convenient to the interstate and used it as abase to explore further East. Many restaurants nearby. The pool is OK but could do with a clean and has a couple of resident felines who seem to own it! Rooms are spacious but the bathroom is a little tired. TCMF provided. Excellent breakfast provided.

After having visited Yosemite we drove toward San Francisco and we stopped by for a rest break in a fruit barn. The pleasant weather in the region was undoubtedly good , orange orchards, almond plantations, farms , vineyards and so on. And roses bloomed in and around the corner. i stooped and smelled the roses and it was fresh and lovely and knew for sure all the goodness came from that fertile soil. I was tempted to grab one but controlled myself . we arrived at the Best Western and everything seemed normal and good as a hotel should be but what makes it outstanding is the essence of the staff who performed their duties. Kind , courteous and helpful. The front office staff was kind to help me out , and the next morning the lady arranging the breakfast spotted me stooping down and smelling the roses. She knew i like them and in the middle of her duties she went out and got a pair of scissors and got me a rose. She even removed the prickly thorns , pricking herself to get me that rose. That`s SOMETHING to be admired and appreciated. Noticed the staff work with humility and enthusiasm which adds value to their customer service. A great place to unwind!

Good hotel, fitness center is nice. Room was clean and staff were all friendly. Conveniently located walking distance from several restaurants and gas stations. Me and my family will stay here again if we are back in the area and need a hotel.

Overall a very pleasant overnight stay. Beds were incredibly comfortable, a welcome surprise. Parking was spare for late arrivals. Several spots taken up by a large RV and large trucks, SUVs. A little noisy in the morning before 0800, must have been a school group. Breakfast was adequate. In-room coffee was good.

This is a good hotel, travelling around California for the last 3 weeks we've stayed in a lot of places so have pretty good judgement. The first room we were put in although visibly clean had a real bad smell of pee next to the bed. We were quickly moved to a different room by a very apologetic lady on the desk which we were very happy with, although a socket was hanging off the wall (didn't bother us). The lady who runs breakfast was so nice, she seemed to genuinely care about everyone eating and was very passionate about what she prepared. Wifi was good, hotel and parking felt safe.

This stay was Horrible ... I have had to stay in a hotel from time to time because my house caught on fire. On my 4th time staying at this hotel between 5:00am and 6:00am a man entered my room. I immediately called the front desk. She asked me to bring the keys to her , so I did. She said she didn't know how that happened. I then asked a manager to call me. They called and said they didn't see anything on camera. They were coming to work on my house again so I again went back to the hotel to rent a room because it is very close to my job. I asked if there was something being done about the problem and she said no ma'am because there is nothing to be seen. Being angry at that statement . I asked the front desk girl to show me the video and what do you know the was a man who entered my room and immediately left and ran off the property and down the street. Then the front desk girl (Maria) turned the whole thing around and said I was lying and couldn't rent the room. This place should be shut down. I was in my room asleep alone and a man off the street was able to enter my room and the hotel did nothing about it and said I was a liar and must have given the man the key. When I gave them the 2 keys they had given me. If you are a single women PLEASE

Thirteen of us traveled the five plus hours from our home town in the Eastern Sierra. Check-in was slow for the six rooms we had reserved due to only one clerk on duty. Clean, spacious rooms. Adequate breakfast considering it's served in a room just off the lobby. Only complaint was the huge pillows, but it's just time to drag along my own pillow, because how can anyone get the perfect pillow right? All were happy campers!

Had to deal with many problems including noise and parking lot partying that was broken up by desk clerk and a taser? There are better choices available. Pool had caution cones very tight parking with damage.

This property was very clean on the outside as well as the inside. Easy access to Downtown and the Highway 99. Very quiet property and priced reasonably. Would highly recommend this property however I would not recommend Trip Advisor. I am a man of few words, but like to compliment when deserved but unlikely to meet word count requirement by Trip Advisor unless I rant like I am doing now.

Let me just say, I usally book Marriott property's, a couple of Best Western/decent, no problem! It been a long day, arrived really late, pass 12am, tired, set alarm 6am and fell asleep.......to be woken up before 5:30am! I don't know about you but every second of my sleep means a lot to me! My legs had at least 10 bug bites!!!! Oh my goodness and I had an all day meeting!!!! Besides that, my door could not close from the outside, so I left and made a called to the front desk to lock it up after me!

Priced right, clean. Old motel but rooms are updated. Sidewalks are in need of repair. Breakfast is mediocre, at best. But, we just needed reasonably priced lodging in the area and the reviews were a bit generous. It fit the bill at the time but we would probably rethink it in the future.

As we travel to visit friends and travel in general we want to stay at a hotel that is constantly comfortable and reliable. You can never go wrong with Best Western Hotels. They provide all you need a great breakfast, a comfortable bed, fitness center and even a pool. They are always clean and well maintained including everything a great combination.

First off, this is the last time I plan on ever setting foot in Modesto. This was a crap day from start to finish, and the night isn't looking much better. First off though, checking in was a breeze. Took a grand total of 3 minutes. The guy I talked to was great, and seemed genuinely pleased to see me. The room looks and smells clean, and is more than spacious enough. However, this room is lousy with problems. And here we go. Things that need repaired in Room 119. Tub faucet leaks a steady stream. The seat cushions on the chairs for the table are dead, and and the chairs are too low for the table. Needed to use pillows to sit high enough. Threshold between the room and the bathroom is gone and has created a trip hazard. Internet connection is bad. Real bad. It kept dropping off and coming back on. The shower faucet feels like it may have an internal corrosion issue. It was extremely stiff to turn. The electrical outlets are nothing less than dangerous. One is trying to fall out of the wall, and ALL the others are so loose. It's a crap-shoot if your stuff will remain plugged in. While I would hope that this level of upkeep problems is unique to this room, I sort of have my doubts. As I read through the previous reviews, I noticed that Management doesn't bother to respond to any reviews, good or bad.

We stayed here for just the one night as part of a coach tour. Thankfully it was only for 1 night! Our bathroom wasn't particularly clean and I found hairs everywhere. Our allocated room was right next to the swimming pool, so was really noisy. We went off for dinner up the road - just didn't feel like a safe area to be walking around in. We came back to the Inn around 10pm and there were still kids running around the complex screaming and shouting and the pool was still open much to our despair as we just wanted to sleep. Credit where credit is due, we called reception and they did come and close the pool. Breakfast - not the healthiest of choices so I personally struggled to find anything I could eat.

Used this hotel as a stop over after an 11 hour flight. Journey from San Francisco airport to the hotel was straight forward and took about an hour Hotel was clean and reasonably priced with hot breakfast included. Wifi was easy to connect to with a good signal

Room was small but clean and staff pleasant. Shower had one of those curtain rods that arc outward into the room, presumably to make more room in the shower. However, the shower curtain was too short and lightweight to stay in the shower, so water got all over the floor. Windows open onto communal pathway so you have no privacy or safety if they are open. Rooms have fridge and microwave. My coffeemaker didn't work, nor did all the outlets in the room. Free wifi worked well. Unappetizing breakfast included in fare. Small synthetic pillows. Hard to use TV as no channel guide included.

It's OK, priced right!. There are maintenance issues in every room I've occupied. The service is good, the rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The court yard is very nice. Nice to see the menu better for breakfast . The dining area very small, felt uncomfortable. .

First road trip as older adults and comfort means a lot. We have had 3 best westerns booked and whilst they had a charm all of their own we could be sure of good basic accommodation. This was one of them. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and coffee makers in the room. Solid places to stay.

I could not sleep until close to 3:30 am on a weeknight because so many guests were closing (which sounded like slamming) their doors. I heard it from every direction. I know it's partially the locking mechanism that is somewhat unavoidably loud; however, it sounded like people were slamming their doors throughout most of the night. When the guests next door slammed their door, my head would get rocked forward (like when a bus makes a sudden stop) when I was leaning against the wall headboard & pillows. The wall would shake. Also, children ran loudly and screamed in the night. A group of adults drunk beer, smoked cigarettes, and talked at a normal volume outside my window. It felt like they were talking inside my room it was so loud. People knocked on doors also quite loudly and shouted at each other to open the door. While the room did not smell like smoke, I had to breathe it in everywhere else. People smoked outside my door, at the patio table nearby, by the pool and jacuzzi, and on the upstairs balcony where the smoke would waft everywhere. I honestly feel sorry for the foreign tourists that stop here on big bus tours. Not all hotels in the U.S. are this terrible.

I stayed here as part of the Amgen Tour of California. The breakfast was very good, even though the hotel was extremely busy. And that was the only downside: there were a lot of construction-type workers staying here and they were a bit loud at night and again early in the morning.

We were staying at this hotel to be near family. So the drive to there house was not far at all. The hotel was very clean. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy.The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly checking in and out. Didn't swim but it looked inviting. I would stay there again next time we are in town visiting.

This BW property is a good value not just because it is well maintained and conveniently located, but because the staff on every level seems to have the attitude that the guests are important to their success and that is reflected in the positive way in which they interact. While so many properties today act as though they are doing you a favor by allowing you to stay there, you can tell that these folks value your business and show it in a number of ways that add up to an overall enjoyable experience. You won't be disappointed!

I had to move to another hotel because the internet wouldn't work about 80% of the time. If you don't need internet the hotel would be okay. You can hear noise from other units. Lots of local eating and some shopping is available within walking distance

Everything was grand, the room was a nice size. The bed slept well and the noise level was low. Great access to restaurants and grocery. Back to the express way was a breeze as well. Bring your swim gear.

Stayed here while my mom was ill. They gave me a nice hospital discount, and were able to get me a room on short notice. The pool is a nice place to hang out, and the breakfasts are decent--not your typical continental, with eggs, sausage, and waffles along with all the typical fare. Plus, there's a decent Mexican restaurant within walking distance. I will stay here again when in the area.

This hotel was just another example of why we like to stay at a BW hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was great and within walking distance of a couple of good restaurants. We also always like to stay at BW's because of how the hotels are laid out. We really like the fact that we can usually park our car right in front of the door to our room or at least somewhere pretty close. Thank You BW Palm Court for another comfortable BW stay!

The hotel was nice; the room was comfortable, although a little small. The breakfast was great. I did not like the outside room entrances and there was no elevator. However, I did like the court yard with the palm trees and flowers. I was enjoyable sitting out there. It was a good value for the money.

Older hotel, but clean room and good bed. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We were given a great recommendation about a nearby restaurant and informed about a car show in town. We attended the Car Show and enjoyed it.

I love best western hotels but this is the worst of the best wst. I have seen before. Old, small size and not tranquil. There is under average of best western according to other ones. Not suitable for family, it is OK for business just one day. Price is usual.

Better than expected , I really loved the bed . I had no problem with bug bites as O made use of the hot water and scrubbed myself squeaky clean from top till bottom ( you won't be so tasty then ) Only peeve was when I dropped my neck pillow to the floor , it ended up with a stain . Other than that , there is minimum security and that's not very good seeing how anyone can just walk in and out with no problem . Great breakfast waffles and tasty sausage but try not to eat when group tours are in the small room , as in our case , they gave us so little time to eat , we had to just grab and ended up annoying the staff .

No complaints. The bathroom looked new and was very clean. The bed was firm and the TV had all the channels. The breakfast was good and I liked the little waffles the maker did. It was very busy, had two travel buses, and the noise level was a bit higher. I don't know if I'll be driving on 99 again, but would stay here again if I am in the area.

Graduation at Stanislaus State but we didn't make a reservation in Turlock early enough. This turned out to be the perfect solution. Thanks for the friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable beds, quiet room.

My company has put us up at the BW Palm Court Inn many many times over the past five months and would choose to stay there even if I wasn't working. It's CLEAN, comfortable and the staff is amazing every time!

I am a frequent traveler for business. I am on the road majority of the time all across the united states plus I book hotels for my crews. Being a frequent traveler there is nothing worse then running into an issue of bed bugs or bug bites in general. All items must be sterilized and so on plus causes further issues in the week. You would understand of this has happen to you. This is not the first time I have ran into this issue but hopefully it is the last.

Very good place to stay. Clean pool and access to fitness center. I will book my next conference trip here. Nearby to shopping and food courts. Close to Freeway access. Hotel employees were very helpful and professional,

This property was very loud and noisy. It was marginally maintained. All of that (and more) could/might have been overlooked if, after multiple attempts, I was able to get a reciept. But, that simple task is far beyond the capability of the staff at this hotel.

we only stayed 1 night but everything went according to plan and we would stay here again. Service was good and the breakfast was too, we usually enjoy staying at BW, there're dependable good and clean and the breakfast is very adequate

We were working all day at the nearby Clarion, and since we've consistently had terrible experiences with Clarion sleeping rooms, we booked into the BW instead. It was lovely! Our room entrance was off a central open courtyard that was filled with blooming roses and statice, palm trees, and lush shrubs. The room was comfortable, with a well-lit bath, and the rate included a typical BW breakfast. We sat outside by the pool in the evening, sipping wine, watching the birds, and enjoying the greenery. A nice way to unwind after a long day.

Very clean, my room in the courtyard was quiet, clean, and the bed was very comfortable Very nice breakfast is included. There is a nice pool area , its small, but nice. There are a lot of restaurants in the area most of them in walking distance.

We chose this Best Western due to its convenient location to the hospital our son was admitted to. Call the hotel directly for a fantastic hospital rate. Our stay had to be extended and the rate helped us immensely. The staff is friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the immediate area.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. Room was very well appointed. Had a microwave and a fridge. Staff was warm and welcoming. Bed had a quality mattress on it. Did not sink when I sat or lied on it. Breakfast was very good( sausage was cooked well done like I like it). Also, this hotel gives an AARP discount.

The motel is a moderately priced, somewhat upscale facility. Finishes were good and it was immaculately clean as expected. Our room smelled like smoke and the lighting in the room was on the dim side. It does allow pets. While it's not a spectacular place, we would stay there again.

The staff is outstanding: Adina, Maria, Rita, Evelyn, Kylie, Lily, Kat, Sam and all housekeeping staff were wonderful. The property is kept very clean and the hot tub was HOT. We fell in love with the cute cats.

We especially appreciated that Saturday morning breakfast hours were earlier than most places as we were headed out at 6:15am for the Turlock Swap meet! Freeway noise is noticeable outside the rooms, but the rooms are surprising quiet. Several restaurants within walking distance

We liked this hotel because it was close access to 99, friendly staff, good value, and very clean comfortable rooms. Traveling with our daughter & grandson and small dogs. This hotel is pet friendly with a small fee per room, which is reasonable. They inner courtyard, is clean and has a lush lawn area. Grandson says breakfast is awesome! Waffles, eggs and sausage. Fruit, cereal & yogurt for grandma. Win win.

the best motel i'v stayed at in years. Very accommodating and understanding to our needs. We were given a discount because we were in the area for a family emergency at the hospital that required a flexible schedule and length of stay. The staff was kind, understanding and welcoming. The breakfast was one less worry on a list of many.

My door would not stay shut and had to lock with deadbolt it for it to stay closed. Bathroom door would not close at all, no telephone in my room and the remote would not work. The staff was friendly and nice and the hotel was clean.

Room was really nice and it was really quiet even though the hotel was packed. Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping and really close to the highway. Nice hot breakfast in the morning and wifi is super fast which is rare for hotels.

This is a typical Best Western, nothing fancy but clean and otherwise acceptable. EXCEPT that it was a cold night, and there was only a light blanket on the bed. There were no extra blankets anywhere in the room. I should have called the desk and asked for more blankets but instead I slept under my coat all night. We turned the heater down because I hate sleeping in hot rooms, but it kept coming on during the night and waking me up. Plus the room was next to the housekeepers room, so I woke up once again when they began their rounds in the morning. The room was ok, but I didn't get a lot of sleep.

Although they have done some remodeling, there is still some work to do. Heating/AC units need to be replaced (ticking sound, couldn't keep a steady temperature). Don't like the bathroom door design (translucent glass, gap in door frame).

My stay here continued to exceed all my expectations....A very pleasant and accommodating 1 week stay on business - The bed was terrific and the shower even better - Hot Breakfast so so, but plenty of grab n' go options available

Very nice stay. We were on our way home from a Trip from Los Vegas and have visited Modesto before for a show and enjoyed the show and the area. The motel was very nice the breakfast was also good. Would stay there if traveling that way.

The hotel itself was nice but I accidentally left an expensive curling iron. I called. They said they had it and would mail it. They never did. Very disappointed. I worked at a Ramada and often mailed items left behind.

Clean room, well managed staff, good value, quiet (despite nearby freeway). Room and bedding was very clean. Easy access off freeway to get to and away in the morning. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

Great Best Western. Rooms are very nice with new bedding, new mattress's, and good pillows. There was a bit of noise in the early morning which I am a night owl and usually don't get out until later morning. I would stay here again no problem.

Stayed one night on the way from San Francisco to Mammoth Lakes in Sierra Nevada. Hotel not very updated on road pass closing status for 108 and 120. Hotel, room, parking was quite OK and is recommended

As always, Best Western did not disappoint. Location is great, quiet, feels safe, very neat and well taken care of. Rooms are comfortable, very nice decor, breakfast was great, internet connection free. Only thing that bothered me was the pillows which were a little too thick for me (I like thin pillows)...

When our company began work on the local community college this year our 5-10 man crews needed a place to stay during the week. We tried a different hotel first but when I called Best Western the manager got me exactly what I needed and made it affordable! He went out of his way to reserve parking for our big company trucks, served hot breakfast, and all our men said the beds were comfortable! We stayed at Best Western until the project was done! I would recommend to anyone, personal or business!

Great experience. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a nice view of the lush court yard. Close to the freeway and plenty of places to eat and get fuel. Staff up to and including the maids were very friendly and cooperative.

We checked in just for the kids to go swimming. To our disappointment pool was very dirty. Clean rooms but really tiny. It is a glorified Best Western. I asked for a toothbrush but night staff said there were none left. I guess they were just too lazy to get one for me in the middle of the night. This is a so so place.

Very satisfied with the guest room and meeting rooms. Would like the breakfast to be better quality, but that is the only complaint. Probably typical quality for this type of place. Would definitely come back.

Best Western Palm Court Inn, very nice hotel, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, very friendly customer service, right price, I was there with my family for two nights and was very good, no complains, worth to stay

I have rated this a "one" because Yelp has no zeros. I have just finished the worst night's sleep I have ever had at a motel, bar none. This was caused by rowdy revelers who kept me awake until almost 3 this morning. The noise outside my room started at about 9:30 pm last night – several people talking loudly to each other somewhere in the courtyard area outside room 145. I was able to sleep until about 11:30 when the noise woke me up again. I waited, hoping they would go to their rooms so I could get some sleep. At 12:30 I called the front desk and got the message that “nobody is available to take your call”. I finally had to set the AC fan to "constant run" mode to try to mask the noise from the people outside. At about 2am a shouting match ensued – that may have been one of the other unfortunates who was alto trying to get a decent night's sleep. Things finally broke up somewhere around 3am, and I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep before it was time to get up and get back on the road. Apparently, there is nobody available to answer the phone at the front desk in the late night hours, and there is obviously no security patrol checking the grounds. So loud parties happen. Based on this visit, my impression of the Best Western Palm Court motel is that there are better choices. Much better. FOLLOW-UP After we got home this afternoon, my wife checked the bank charges. Looks like Best Western Palm Court has billed us TWICE for the room. That's some real fine accounting work there.

I visited Modesto, to participate in a Celebration of Life for a former colleague at a local church. The Palm Court Inn was located approximately 2-blocks from the facility. I required a late checkout and the hotel staff accommodated me with my request which I certainly appreciated. The room was roomy, clean and there were no malfunctions. I would stay here again, and it was priced right.

Despite very clear reqeust to be in as quiet of a room as possibke, we were placed on the loudest side of the complex when it came to traffic noise. Being placed on the loudest side of the complex made it hard to sleep and left us waking up cranky.

Our arrival to our room had more than one problem. The door didn't lock upon closing. It sounded as though this was a common or familiar problem at the front desk. I think due to our room type being sold out and my frustration, a maintenance person was sent to our room to perform a temporary "fix". As well, we found a starving domestic stray cat underneath the stairwell and reported it. This too, was a familiar problem to the front desk and didn't seem to be of urgent concern. It was an awkward position as a hotel guest to scrounge up food for the cat )and its later found sibling) when guests shouldn't have to be put in such situations, while management should be working with the necessary parties (SPCA and animal control) to have the cats properly taken care of. The room had a "cheap" construction feel from the plastic tub that creaked upon your steps. Large gaps were between the door and door jamb. This and the short window curtain allowed a bit of sunlight to shine through in the morning time. We couldn't operate the remote/TV entertainment menu like I normally can and had to go through the channels only with the up and down channel buttons. To top it off we had a large obnoxious family staying close by that arrived late and were even louder in the morning. I guess breakfast was the highlight. The food was pretty good. The staff person in it was very helpful and kept food stocked pretty late into the breakfast hours. Not sure how this place receives four star ratings. Any business class place such as Holiday Inn Express on up is a surer bet in my mind.
