    « A very good choice »

This is the second time I have stayed there this year. The property is not the easiest place to find, but it is worth it. check-in is fast and easy.......and in the late afternoon there are fresh hot cookies. The hotel layout is a little funky, it is necessary to carry your bags up or down a short flight of stairs. The rooms are big, well-appointed, with good bids/pillows and are very clean. The breakfast was very good. No wi-fi problems either.

« Will not stay again »

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was good but now I feel it's gone downhill and needs upgrading. We will not stay here again. We checked in at the front desk and immediately informed that the WiFi was not working. This was disappointing for us and also 2 teenagers in tow. We booked a suite with a king bed and a sofa hide a bed for $90.00 a night online which we felt was a fantastic price. Upon checking into the room we realized how small it was and we were not impressed. There were stains on the couch that was the hide a bed our kids stayed on (see pictures). With no wifi to entertain the kids they went looking for an arcade. The front desk said they used to have one but it is no longer there. We went to the mall for awhile and came back to the room, we decided a snack would be great. The kids go down to the Vending machine and it has a note on it that it's not working, so no snacks. The kids did not even go in the pool and we did not see anyone in the pool at ALL the whole time we were there. There were some people sitting around it visiting but not one person in the pool which is a very strange sight for a Friday night in Minot at a hotel from my experience. The breakfast was good, it had your normal cold and hot selections and a lot of choices which was nice. Even though we had prepaid for 2 nights we only spent 1 night in this hotel. We phoned another hotel and booked a room that was double the size with 2 queens AND a full size sectional in the room for only $79.00. We will continue to book at this second place we stayed at. I would not recommend the Kelly Inn Best Western.

    « Nice hotel »

Best Western quality. Good service, nice and clean, dissent breakfast, good location, were nice inside pool, nice layout for the rooms. Cant have a bad word about this hotel. I go back any time to stay in the future.

    « Business »

Great place.Easy to go to Dr. appt. Also the shopping is great too! Close by the mall, and eating places too. Walking distance is good, because were close to mall. The gas station is close by also. this place Is quiet and we love the swimming pool. Our grandson feels safe in the pool, and so the hot tub is a great!

« Great value and wonderful service! »

Large room, comfortable king bed, sparkling clean! Evening reception with complimentary wine and beer along with appetizers. Complimentary breakfast in the morning! Would highly recommend this hotel. They put the BEST in Best!

    « Never have a problem »

We've only stayed at this hotel one night at a time when we go to Minot for a concert or something but it's always been great. Easy to book, friendly staff, clean rooms, lots of parking, easy to find, continental breakfast, nice pool .... in other words, ALL THAT GOOD STUFF!

« Never Lets Us Down »

This was my second time staying at the Kelly Inn. We love the hotel. Its always clean and front desk entry is beautiful and we love the hot tub and the pool. The best feature in my opinion is that it is pet friendly and they give you an option for a drive up room, which is a huge convenience when traveling with your pet.

« on night stay, beware of your belongings »

I usually stay at this hotel every year when I go to see friends in Mandan, and then I usually stay at this hotel again on my return after a week. Majority of the time I have no problems because it's just one night, we do some shopping, have breakfast the next morning and then head out. But on my return a week later, everything was fine until I returned home and found out I had forgotten my Ipad, called the hotel as soon as I got home, told them exactly where I had left it, and described it, they checked the room, nope it couldn't be found, of course the cleaning staff had been in there, called back the next morning, nope, no one had found my ipad, I gave a distinct description of my ipad because the cover had a National Geographic wording on it, so it was kind of unique, people would ask me where I had gotten it from when they saw it, it even had my name put inside of the cover as well. Called again in Tues Am and in PM, nope, no ipad. They had talked with the cleaning staff, nope no one had seen it, how bizarre can that be, called Thur. am, talked to the manager, Angie, nope no one had seen it. She had talked to her staff, no one had picked it up; she accused me of misplacing it, how can you misplace an ipad in a hotel when I know where I had put it the Sun. night when we were there, I told Angie, that of course they wouldn't find the ipad in the room when I called back 8 hrs later, a cleaning person had probably picked it up, put it on her cleaning cart, then decided to take it home, even though Angie said she talked to her staff, this person probably didn't want to admit that they had taken it home. Then she accuse me of misplacing it, There was no apology of any kind that they couldn't find it, nothing, told her my review was not going to be good, her flippant remark was; ok good. So they've just lost a customer because I don't feel I can stay in a hotel that won't even offer an apology, especially from a manager. I've worked in Customer Services myself, I know how manager can just brush off complaints and that's how I felt this manager did to me. She figures she can trust her staff, well, maybe so but I don't think they tried hard enough to find out what may have happened to my ipad. then to accuse me of misplacing it...REALLY!!!

    « Very Comfortable »

During our drive back from Ontario (to Vancouver) we arrived early and the clerk was very busy, finally got our room just to find it hadn't been cleaned. Several of the maids tried to help out, but went back to the clerk and got a different room on 3rd floor, it was very nice, clean and beds were comfortable. Also, being on the 3rd floor it was not noisy, which is nice for a good sleep when you are getting up early.

« Great time at Hostfest »

All was great..except the prices are hiked sky high for the Festival!! Some hotels do hike up the price but I.m sure it was doubled!! The location is excellant as it is close to shopping! We stayed , because we have stayed in the past and found the Kelly Inn to be top notch Despitr th price!!

    « A bit tired »

The hotel is well located and easy to find. Room was clean and spacious. The indoor pool was large and good for children. Having rooms overlooking it inside the building was less than ideal. Breakfast room is much too small for the size of the hotel. Would opt for a different hotel if I were in Minit again.

« Carol Lee, Mesa, AZ. (Raised in Minot) ** AMAZING STAFF AND SERVICE! »

I just want to commend the staff and to name a few special ones that stand out. Chelsea greeted us with the biggest smile when we first checked in and worked hard to get us an early check-in, which we really appreciated it after an overnight train ride. Theresa in the managers reception went over the top to accommodate us as 12 of my fam ily came up to visit and eat pizza. Evonne at the front desk made sure we had the space in the breakfast area so comfortable and clean before everyone arrived. Lynnette in the kitchen was so attentive to make sure the breakfasts were full and hot.

    « Amazing Hotel Stay....3rd consecutive time »

We have stayed in other places in Minot....but they don't measure up to the kelly Inn. It's the only place we stay now, and they never disappoint us. The hotel is very clean, very quiet...the staff are very friendly and very accommodating. The location is excellent as for walking to the mall, or visiting the many nearby restaurants. This year we really felt a personal welcome, as there was a handwritten note from "Theresa and Cindy" who cleaned our room, and even folded up the ends on the toilet paper! We really loved the personal touch we felt from this great little interaction, and loved the attention to detail! We managed to thank them personally, and we shared a great conversation. After such a warm welcome, great price to stay, great food, and great service, why would you stay anywhere else? We give them full marks. Great Job Kelly Inn and Staff!

    « Minot »

This Best Western is centrally located in the heart of Minot. You can get to any part of the city easily. Restaurants are within both walking and driving distance. Clean and quiet, even with the location in a shopping district. The staff are very friendly and helpful about the area. Do be aware that if you request a room facing the pool, you get a lovely view of the pool with sliding doors opening to the pool, there is NO other outside window. Your room will be quite dark. There is no outside light coming in.

    « Amazing Hotel Staff »

Not only is it a great location but the young lady who checked us in was amazing - friendly - helpful - bubbly - so refreshing to see. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have encountered. overall I would highly recommend this hotel and I am a picky person.

« Well Maintained, well Situated Quiet and Clean »

I guess that the title says it all. This was our second stay here. Like earlier this year, we were on our way to somewhere else. This is a nice place to stay for one night or an extended stay. We stayed in a 2 queen room that was typical in size. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area very close to a mall with several restaurants to chose from in the surrounding area. The room was a little dusty. Someone had left a window open for we don't know how long. Outside of the bit of dust, the room was very. Lean and well appointed. Everything worked fine. Easily accessed from the major highways Nice pool and good solid breakfast included in the price of the room which was really the best priced stay of our entire trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone....

    « Great hotel »

Love the fact it's so close to the mall. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great. Room rates are just right and the staff is amazing. Recommend pool side rooms. The pools are salt water so the smell isn't overwhelming. I've also stayed in the suites and they are very nice!

    « Adequate and friendly »

Stayed at this place last minute, it was conveniently located and seemed clean. The room was a nice size, the bathroom was a little tight getting in, wedged between the closet and a little hallway. The beds are a little soft for my taste but comfortable. The tv was small as well, by today's standards they could use some upgrades. The overall feel of the room was a little dingy. Haven't stayed in Minot before but I would probably check another hotel before I stayed here again.

    « Minot ND - Passing through »

the BW in Minot is very dated and could use a freshening up but the price was great and the staff were friendly. some minor repairs need to be done in the guest room e.g. bathroom light out and heat lamp/fan control not working properly. Also, the internet in our room location was not reliable but was better in the lobby area.

    « Great location »

The hotel was very close to Target at the Dakota Mall so was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, wifi was great and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The TV had a great picture and the beds were comfortable. I found the room quite spacious but the bathroom a bit small. The only concern I had was that I found it really dim in the hallways and would have liked more lighting.

    « Travel »

The whole hotel was clean, bright and welcoming. Staff were friendly and informative. Great place to stay, shares parking lot with Dakota Mall, walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast had lots of choices for both adults and children. The pool area was clean and in the middle of the hotelm noise was never a factor

    « It was ok. »

The breakfast was great. The rooms though have just got to be updated. The sliding door out to the pool would jam, and the air conditioning unit didn't quite reach into the adjoining area where my son slept on the pull out. For a night, it was ok.

    « Kelly Inn »

We stayed 2 separate nights at Kelly Inn, first night we got a room with old not-so-comfy beds, second time we got an updated room with excellent up to standard beds. On both occasions the TV was not working, the front desk person had to come to fix it. On both occasions there were large parties by indoor pool area, which makes me think that locals use Kelly Inn to celebrate birthday parties or so. Excellent breakfast!

« Best Western Kelly Inn in Minot ND »

Very nice place to stay, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast was great. GPS takes you right to the location and there are lots of businesses and restaurants very close by. We stayed there going to Ontario, Canada, and we liked it so much we booked it again for our return trip.

« Wonderful Stay at Best Western Minot, ND »

I chose this hotel because it was in close proximity to my new job. It was a wonderful stay and the staff was very nice and receptive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. There was free full breakfast in the mornings and appetizer and drinks in the afternoons of Monday through Thursday. I thought that was fabulous.

    « Great Stay »

This location was the best of the 6 we stayed at on our trip. It offered cookies upon arrival, 5pm drinks and snacks, and a great hot breakfast. The pool area (we did not use) had rooms opening on it and wheel chair access. We liked the rooms that had door access to our car. Also the nearby mall and restaurants were within walking distance.

« Fine, especially good for families »

We stayed one night and it was fine. The pool in the center courtyard format is especially good for families. My wife and I especially like to swim in the morning before we leave. Swimming for us in knocking out laps for 20-30 minutes. When there are a lot of children in the pool, it's tough to do much. Kelly, at least provided a physical barrier betwen the shallow part of the pool and the deeper. Room was fine.

« Welcome relief from heat »

Awesome hotel. Upgraded to suite without asking. Enjoyed the pool. Right across street from large mall. Easy on and off from highway two. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Hallways were very warm due to high usage of air conditioners. Also as our room looked out onto the pool area, there was little natural light...kept drapes closed. Hotel offered a great apply party with free beer and wine and snacks..nice touch.

    « Great hotel »

This was a great hotel. Peter was the guys at the front and he was super friendly and thorough on the hotel, restaurants and activities. This hotel was also pet friendly and had a great pool. This beat western is by far one of the top BW's we have stayed at. It is also minutes to the harbour were there is a great little coffee spot and place to walk.

« Why Not Minot "Kelly Inn" »

The Kelly Inn is located close to the interstate, a shopping area with lots of eating places and very convenient for a traveler. The free breakfast offered biscuits & gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, juice, coffee and other foods that were a great start to the day. The indoor pool area is fabulous, clean, designed for different levels of swimmers with many seating areas. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, Our room was nothing fancy but nice and clean, It would be wonderful place for families to stay and the price was very reasonable.

    « Pet Friendly Hotel »

We often travel with our dogs and this is one of the most pet friendly hotels. The breakfast is good, the beds and rooms are comfortable and clean. Only 2 things that I noticed need to improve: the scum line around the water level of the pool and the front garden is overdue for a weeding.

    « At Best Average for a 3 Star »

Perhaps a 2 star would be a better description. Place is a prison and it is difficult to find ones room. We were in a pet friendly room so maybe this hotel punishes for pets. Wife found a smelly face cloth under the sink plus if one looked at the bottom of door frames in the bathroom one would see different colours on the floor from inadequate cleaning. Late night noise from next door was an issue and they were only talking. Thin walls. The lobby and pool seemed to be nice.

« they have great beds in some rooms, terrible in others »

this is a perfect location, walking distance to the mall and a ton of great restaurants. The rooms show a lot of wear. We had a room with a great king size bed once, this time the queens were awful. The breakfast has good food, but is a schmoz of activity...don't go if you're claustrophobic! The tables are all set up for 4, so a party of 1 or 2 takes the whole thing... If there is a next time I'll take my breakfast to sit by the pool. The staff is lovely.

« Nice staff, could be cleaner »

Concerned when we pulled into the lot as the entire front entrance was blocked off with construction. Once we found the side entrance door check in was very good, the lady was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room and it appeared quite nice. However when we went to use the jacuzzi we were shocked to find a few leftover hairs from previous guests. I just cleaned out the one I originally saw, but then at closer look, there were more and get the idea. We mentioned it to our friend at the front and she was very apologetic. She offered to move us, clean it herself (now late at night) and a discount. We said not to worry about it and thanked her as she was very nice. We were not going to use it now anyway. Attached are a few pics of some other things we we found. Overall the place was ok, and the price was right and included a good breakfast. Hopefully this was a one off. I would stay there again, but would take a close look at the room before unpacking.

« Best ran continental breakfast area ever!!! »

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Little older decor but they keep things very clean.the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast area is the best area I have ever ate in. The lady that was working in there when I was there sure kept everything stocked, and she was very friendly

« Hotel was very good »

Hotel was very good , breakfast was good , Room was very good , clean and large . Hotel was not busy and was really quiet . I did not use the pool , but the few kids seemed to enjoy it . The only area of concern was the parking lot . I found that is steeply angled and I found it easier to park far way from my room where the lot is semi flat .

    « Awesome »

Stayed here several times. ..huge rooms...big bathroom and great comfortable the complimentary beer and wine at 5pm..staff is great and the price is great...walk out of hotel and mall right there...would highly recommend this place

    « Bed & Breakfast »

After driving all day and not having had a good nights sleep in 2 we were pleasantly surprised to sleep right through the night. Breakfast was great and we were able to be back on the road refreshed by 7:00am. Thanks BW for standing up to your reputation.

« Excellent but unique layout »

The layout was a little unique, having to go up a couple of stairs to go to your room. This property would be an outstanding place if you had kids and some bad weather. The pool was big and very nice. The guest rooms/baths were of good size, quiet and very clean. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. Good free breakfast. Good welcoming staff.

« it is very nice »

it was nicer than other bestwesterns I st\\yed in before in different cities in Canada and the states I only found not nice service in one in Winnipeg but others are good I will looking forward in every travel in the future to find bestwestern

  • 3
    « Stairs! »

The room was OK but you had to use stairs to go either up or down to your room. The only plus was that the breakfast server was ready before 6 am and we were able to get started a little earlier than planned.

« Great Place to Stay »

I always book here, as the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are great. Good quality for a good price. Very close to shopping and restaurants. I have been staying at this hotel for years, and keep coming back. Hot breakfast is a bonus:)

    « Nice Place »

The room was a King Suite. The King bed was very nice, new linen and lots of pillows. There was a sitting area with a pull out Queen. It was not comfortable at all. you could feel every bar in the bed. It also needed to be replaced as it had a big hole in the cushion on the couch. When the shower was turned on there was more water coming out of the bath spout than the shower spout. The pool area was nice kid friendly, just needed a little TLC. The location is great for shopping and dining.

    « Great Hotel »

The bed was awesome, pillows great, breakfast outstanding. When we travel, it is all about the bed first, then the other stuff. Have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and will continue to stay at this hotel whenever we are in Minot.

« Another Good Kelly Best Western with Outside Entances »

Very nice place with friendly employees. They even gave us a "doggy kit" when we checked in. They have some rooms with outside entrances in back on the first floor. The only drawback is people smoking outside their rooms back there. Room was in great condition with good Wi-Fi and plenty of room. Would stay there again.

« This Hotel Is Aces Baby! Aces!! »

You will not be disappointed at all with your stay here! Great staff, Max was awesome & Breakfast ladies were the deal! One of the best parts were their were no pieces of food or bandages floating in the pool! (Unlike other hotels that share the mall parking lot) This place was clean baby, like, not afraid to touch the shower curtain clean. Oh, and the Continental Breakfast was bangin'! Sausages man!! Sausages.

« Great staff and amenities »

Very friendly staff , great amenities including breakfast and have no charge for our pet Shitzu. We stayed on our way out and also on our way back home. HAve a nice salt water pool and hot tub . The breakfast includes hot dishes as well as the usual continental items.

    « A very nice property »

We stopped here on our second overnight stop on a 4,600 trip from Vernon, BC to Montreal. We chose this hotel based, as usual, on the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. This property appears to be quite new and is is quite clean and modern. We had an issue with the entry card/room key which we have found to be quite common but the gentleman at the reception desk rectified the issue immediately. Good check in with professional and friendly service. The indoor pool area is quite nice. The hotel is located in the middle of shopping and you have many dining choices within walking distance. Beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped. The buffet style breakfast was good with many choices and friendly lady taking care of us. I highly recommend this property.

« Great place to stay »

We have travelled around USA, and stayed in a lot of Best Western properties, this is one of the best. Great choice for breakfast and great Managers Reception each week night. Manager Chelsea is so very suited to the hospitality industry , with her happy personality and friendly attitude to her job.

    « Hockey trip »

Had a hockey trip here in March and we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very accommodating to both the kids and parents, let the parents use the breakfast nook as a gathering place witch was a bonus. The hotel is located within walking distance of the mall. Only problem we had was that they were under construction and you could smell the dust. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

  • 4
    « Get away stay »

I usually stay at the Kelly Inn whenever I travel to Minot , as always everything was pretty much up to par , Friendly courteous Staff especially at front desk . Breakfast foods were good , only small problem this time was hot Tub jets not all working .

    « Construction »

Lots of construction at our front door. Why would they put us right in the middle of it. We only had 5 hours of sleep the night before because of our deadline. We were so exhausted when checking in and wanted to take an hour or two long nap. We tried but with all the construction going on we didn't get a minute in even at 6 pm. So we did a few errands and went out to eat at Bad lands - which was delicious. Had to get up at 4 am so tried to go to bed early but couldn't do. Man upstairs was stomping around and I couldn't fall asleep. I called the front office to tell the man to stop stomping around which was around 11 pm - it just got worse. Then someone with a flash light put it right at our window. Still more stomping until around 2 am. Do not stay on the first floor and make sure they don't put you on the construction side. I was very upset and to have to drive 10 hours the next day as I was headed back home and my husband needing to travel 21 hours. We were not impressed. The bed was comfy the pillows were too soft for me. Just really had a bad night there. Second floor or top floor only for me from now one. I will also be asking about construction going on. Really upset that they put us right dab smack in the middle of it all. At our front door.

« Kicked ouj of Canada »

I needed a place to stay while working on my work visa. I recommend this property to all families, business and other people. It is next door to the mall, Theater, water park and it has a pool with a big hot tub for relaxation.

    « Wonderful »

We called the Inn directly for reservations when we were two hours away..the person on the phone was very helpful, the room was comfortable and relaxing...we had an awesome night. It is too bad they do not have a restaurant attached to the Inn. We difinatly will stay again at this in.. We were travelling to Pheonix and back and stayed at Five different Best Westerns. They were the best. We stayed at one Super 8 and it was not good. Way to Go BEST WESTERN

    « Always a good stay »

This hotel is always our go to spot for Minot. They don't give us any reason to stay anywhere else. Clean comfortable rooms for a good price. Swim area is great for the little ones and in a great location close to the mall.

    « needed quick room »

truck driving and ran out of hours late at night, stopped in and had a room in less then 5 minutes!! great room that was spottless and had a excellent breakfast in the morning witha veryv quick checkout!!

    « Great hotel »

Stayed here for one night because of the convenience of location, close to mall and restaurants! Also as a few bonuses, they allow pets for free and give pets treat bags upon check in, also they have a managers welcome party from 5-7 serving beer, wine and apps! The breakfast in the morning is terrific, the pool/hot tub area is very nice and spacious! There are pool side rooms available as well as outside access rooms which was great for us with our dog. Rooms themselves are quite large and modern with all the amenities we needed for our stay, we would definitely stay here again and don't hesitate to yourself!

« Good Stay in the Mall Parking Lot »

We had a good night at the Kelly Inn. It's in the mall parking lot, although you take your life into your hands if you try to walk the 200 yards across the parking lot. We found the room was a little drafty around the air conditioning unit. We put towels around it to cut down on the draft. Our room was comfortable and nice. The pool area was nice. It was a bit odd that you had to walk through the pool area with outside boots to get to the downstairs rooms. The man that checked us in was really nice and helpful. We had a good stay. If you were in Minot to shop this would be a good place to stay.

    « A great place to stay »

We usually travel down to Minot a couple of times a year for a break and to do some shopping. We always stay at the Kelly Best Western because of its location and good service. We have never been disappointed. A great facility and good staff always make our stay enjoyable and the pricing is good. Thanks Best Western.

« In the malls parking lot! »

I was so happy when I got to this hotel, and realized that it was in Target and the Malls Parking lot. I am not used to having to drive such long distances just to go shopping (living 2 hours away and nowhere else to shop) So i was thrilled to know I didnt have no navigate the city of Minot to find places to eat and the mall. I think the most important thing though, was the fact that they are pet friendly. No extra charges, no "certain rooms only", and they gave my little man a treat bag when we arrived!! He was so happy to get the new treats! The rooms were extremely clean, lots of space, and I just wouldnt think about staying anywhere else when I have to go to Minot. Great experience!

« Great place close to the mall »

Love staying here went we go to Minot to shop. It was really dry in the room and hard to control the temperature, either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was excellent. Can't beat the location to the mall.

    « Great Hotel »

The bed was fabulous (firm but not too firm), the shower had good strong water pressure, everywhere was clean, great selection of breakfast items. Would definitely stay here again. Location was easy to find.

    « Great stay »

Had a great stay. Easy check-in/check-out and a great breakfast. Very friendly staff. No problems with anything. Will stay here again. A great location, right next to the mall. Centrally located to many restaurants. Easy parking.

This is a good place to stay while in Minot. The Managers Social of the evening is a good opportunity to get to know the other guests and also saves money on a meal. I used the lobby area the following day to meet with customers, that was helpful.

    « great Hotel »

When in Minot, this is the place to stay. We like the outside roomsso you can go right from your car into the room. Helps a lot with packing the numerous things we shopped for. Right beside the Mall and close to all other shopping.

    « Overpriced »

Rooms are small, wallpaper coming off in bathroom. I thought it was way overpriced for the condition of the room. The bed was nice, and location to the mall was good. The breakfast left a little bit to be desired.

    « Great Stop! »

Great hotel. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Stopped in Aug. on our way east and again in Sept. on our way back from the east coast only for the night. Check in was easy and quick. The room was very comfortable. We did not take advantage of the pool or gym as we were extremely tired from our 10 hr. Drive. But they both looked great. We particularly liked that Mon. to Fri the served wine and beer with light snacks from 5 to 7PM, what a nice touch. Never seen this before. Highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived late in the day after a long motorcycle ride. The desk staff were very helpful with our check-in and answering our questions. The room was very clean, quiet, with very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel.

    « Hard to find! »

Interesting to read the most recent review. I must have been in the same room. Someone else's radio woke me up at 5:00 AM this morning. At 5:30 the conversation started, I wasn't sure if it was one person on a phone or two. Luckily the heater kicked in and covered it with white noise so I could go back to sleep. I also spent close to 30 minutes driving around Minot in the dark trying to find the hotel. Almost enough to make me suggest not booking here unless you know the city well. On the plus side: good breakfast, clean, my room was not at all run down - perhaps it had been renovated, lobby and pool areas look very sharp, internet wasn't great but was satisfactory.

    « Minot Best Western »

This hotel is one of the dated Best Westerns. By dated I mean that things like the wall paper in the bathroom is peeling - with multiple layers underneath - and the rooms are not very soundproof. Had an elderly couple next door that got up at around 05:00 and of course had to talk really loud in order to hear each other and the sound was as if they were in my room with me. However, the facility appears to be in the process of being upgraded so maybe things will change. THe place was difficult to find with all of the mall buildings. There is a nice big billboard at the exit on the highway but then nothing so it took a little bit of driving around to find it and after driving for nine hours was frustrating.

    « Wonderful place »

We stayed here three nights while on a long motorcycle trip, it was great that we could park right outside our room. The staff was excellent as well as friendly. They even had a happy hour M-Thur. And the pool/hot tub ares was very nice. The hot breakfast was really good and it was a little different each morning. There are serve real restaurants you can walk to and a very large mall within a very short walk. Highly recommended!

« Good location, breakfast, nice hotel »

Stayed one night. Price was good. Location is right beside mall so easy to get out to do other things. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Room was clean, breakfast was good, nice pool. No elevator so had to carry suitcases up stairs.

« Why stay anywhere else? »

We have been here twice. Both times we have been VERY satisfied. Very clean, very quiet, VERY friendly staff who can't do enough for you. The whole establishment looks great....not tired and poorly maintained like some other places. The pool is fabulous. We spoke to a cleaning girl, who was very pleasant ( sorry forgot her name) , who said she really enjoyed her job, and her employer, which tells me that this is a quality establishment. We will make a point of staying here again. Also, the location is the best, if you want to park your car, shop, swim, have a drink ( relaxing), and walk to a nearby restaurant. I give this hotel a AAAAA+ rating. What more could you ask for?....Good job guys!
