Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel & Suites

The hotel is dated. There was a heavy odor in the room similar to cat urine. I asked the housekeeping staff for lysol and was given a clorox spray. It did not help. Possibly mold due to humidity as well. The beds were not comfortable and due to the smell, I did not want to sleep in the bed. The carpet seems to have never been cleaned and the curtains were tattered. My friend and I both have severe health issues and this was not a good place for us to lodge. I do not recommend this hotel. We also had to pay a fee for early check-in to accept the room that was "cleaned" before the 3pm check-in. I have never paid $67 to take a room that was ready. I will not be continuing my membership as a Best Western/Choice Hotels member.

This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone who wishes to stay near Miami International Airport, or looking for accommodations before or after a cruise from the port of Miami. Though not a five-star hotel, it is nonetheless a solid four-star facility that offers a great value for the money. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all of the standard amenities you would expect from hotels similar to this. Our king size bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows. The A/C worked to perfection, something that is very important when staying in south Florida. The bathroom, though a bit dated, was clean and functional and the overhead shower was a nice touch. Morning breakfast was good, but not great. Because this hotel gets crowded (especially on the weekends), the breakfast area is decent size, but at times too small to handle all of the people staying here. Twice we had to wait for a table to open up, but overall not a big deal. The choices for breakfast were about average, but not quite on par with other similar hotels such as Holiday Inn Express. Instead of scrambled eggs, the choices were pre-made eggs that varied from eggs with cheese (basically a cheese omelette), rounded fried egg patties, or small western omelettes. The problem with western omelettes is that some people (like myself) don't care for them, and that basically that eliminates the eggs portion of the breakfast for them. Just wish they would put out a batch of scrambled eggs in the future. Sausage links, sausage patties, and bacon are offered on rotating days, and were all very good. Bagels, croissants, toast, and danish are also offered along with various cereals, yogurt, juices, and some fruit. Some big plusses with the hotel include unlimited free parking (which is rarity in south Florida), and the location of this property on Fairway Drive -- away from the crazy traffic that whizzes by almost non-stop on NW 36th Avenue. What needs improvement? Well, the television service is 'hit-and-miss'. Twice we had to call to the front desk and have someone come up and reset our LG television. Plus, some channels simply do not work for whatever reason. This service needs to be upgraded and made more reliable. But, overall this is a nice, pleasant hotel with a great location, super-friendly staff, and a bargain price-wise compared to some hotels in this same area.

Hotel was nice, clean and comfy. Breakfast buffet was good. Free shuttle from airport was perfect. I also used a shuttle the net day to get to the cruise port. That was $15- which I felt like was a good price. Only negative was the area. I asked for suggestions on a place to eat. They gave me a map with a few suggestions - all within walking distance. My plan was to go to an Irish Pub the recommended - but the farther I walked the more uncomfortable I was. I decided to get a sandwich from a convenience store they had also suggested and bought a bottle of wine and went back to my room. It might be a truly safe area, but being by myself - I decided not to take any risks.

After our Florida Keys vacation we needed a hotel near the MIiami airport for an early am flight home. I've always found the Best Westerns to be clean, comfortable with exceptional staff and this hotel didn't disappoint. The shuttle bus drivers were very helpful and on time both in picking us up at the car rental return and then taking us to the airport at 5am the next morning. Greatly appreciated the quietness, comfort and cleanliness of the room. No stress at all.

Front desk staff was polite and check in was very fast and efficient. On first impression the hotel decor seemed very dated. The room we were assigned had a very musty, moldy smell. Everything just felt moist and damp, even the sheets. The room was very poorly lit. The bathroom was dated, and the shower area had mildew between the tiles. The hotel had a motel vibe. The only redeeming factor was breakfast. Will never stay here again. Too expensive for the amenities offered and worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

We stayed overnight to take cruise next day and hotel was clean, big spacious rooms and breakfast was reasonable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Shuttle service from hotel to airport was fast and third party shuttle next day to Miami port was good too.

We were quoted $270 over the phone and when we arrived we were charged over $400. The front desk attendants were smug about it because they knew we had no where else to go and had to pay the exorbitant price.

We stayed overnight after a cruise to fly home. Chosen due to early am shuttle. Hotel was clean friendly water pressure and hotness great especially after getting soaked by rain on an airboat. Convenient to food.

We made a reservation for two nights needing to layover for the next leg of our trip. Knowing that we simply needed overnight accommodations, we weren't looking for resort like amenities. The reviews were mostly positive so we thought it was worth a shot. The only redeeming quality was the staff. The property needs a serious upgrade. Beyond the obvious wear and tear, the property is filthy. We arrived very late and I was willing to overlook the conditions knowing we would only be there for two nights. The final straw was when we opened the door to our room, we were met with an odor that was unbearable. Needless to say, we immediately checked out and found a much better option close by. I hope the local board of health inspects this establishment and makes appropriate recommendations.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of stay here. Staff was friendly, great breakfast options, clean and quiet rooms, shuttle from the airport. Didn't use the shuttle to port due to traffic they told us better to use Uber there instead. But overall great stay!

We stayed one night and chose this hotel based on the price, the free parking, and the free breakfast. It is located on a frontage road in an industrial park along with some other hotels. Some people mentioned being able to walk to restaurants but I wouldn't want to do this in the dark at night. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine- had a rain head in the shower which was nice. Odd thing was that there was a rubber bath mat we had to put down since there was no grip on the tub. It's been ages since I've seen that. I used a washcloth to grab it and put it in the tub since I'm sure it was cleaned....but still.... For the price of the night and the free parking and breakfast- I would recommend this hotel.

Our room was very clean. There were towels in the bathroom. No problem with the shampoo and soap. Tv worked well. The remote control to the TV was clean. The best part was the breakfast. The had omelets, bacon, cereal , milk, fruit, yogurt, and the best coffee I ever had in a motel.

The hotel stay before a cruise can set the tone of a vacation. Fortunately, our cruise was much better than our experience at Best Western Plus. After claiming our luggage, we called the hotel for the shuttle. We were told 20 min, due to traffic. After 30 min, we called back and were told driver was on the way. After 45 min, we were told shuttle was moments away. After 1 hour, we decided to find a number for corporate and called. While waiting on the phone, shuttle came after 65 minutes. At the hotel, we were given different stories…a change in personnel at the desk, missed communication, driver had been back and forth to the airport a few times ( a lie since we never left the stop where we were told to wait ). The last story was the driver was having lunch. If we had been told that one, we could have had our lunch at the airport, but were stuck waiting in the heat instead. We then waited for check-in. We knew that was a possibility so no big deal. Went for a soda at pop machine…not working. Oh well. The hotel is dated, but was definitely clean and attended to. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was warm, at best, but adequate. They forgot to turn on the juice machines, but corrected when notified. Restaurants aren't really walkable and delivery hard to find on a Sunday. In short, the shuttle situation was enough to prevent us from using this hotel again. And the lack of response from customer service, who we finally contacted, will likely keep us away from other Best Westerns.

Close to airport. They have a great airport shuttle. Great breakfast. Very quiet for being right next to the airport. Air conditioner worked great. Carpeting did feel damp from humidity but only to be expected I guess. Check in was easy and convenient. .

My stay was very pleasant, and the staff was very accommodating. The location was perfect, only 20 minutes for just about everything I wanted to see and do. The breakfast was we good and they had lots of choices, and it was in a comfortable space.

We only stayed one night as we had a layover in Miami. The rooms were spacious and clean. We used the shuttle from the airport and the driver was so nice and helpful. The front desk helped us find food in the area at 10 PM, which was so accommodating. We had booked the airport shuttle for the next AM, however when we arrived in the lobby, there was no record of our reservation. The front desk called us a taxi and covered the cost. Really appreciate all of their efforts to help us get to the airport on time. If you are ever in Miami and need to stay close to the airport, we would highly recommend the Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel.

We stayed here one night before catching a morning flight. Checkin was quick, parking was free and available even though we got there late and the room was probably the biggest double queen we have had for our family of 5. We didn't get to sample breakfast or try out the pool but for what was easily $100 cheaper than competitor hotels it exceeded expectations. Location meant a few more mins in bed too before the flight! Highly recommend for any airport stopover

Come on with these great reviews. I booked my two one-night stays based on TripAdvisor reviews and it was a huge mistake. 1. It is one of the farthest of the airport hotels. If you search it, it looks like the closest, but it's actually on the other side of the airport, and a $20-25 cab ride (with a tip). 2. I took cabs because the free shuttle is terrible. On my outbound to Europe stay (crashed in Miami to break-up the trip from LA), I arrived at almost midnight. My flight had been delayed and I was tired...I called the hotel to let them know I was waiting for a shuttle and at which baggage claim (as instructed), 15 minutes later I called again and they said it was on its way. At 30 minutes I just took a cab and paid the fare...only to find the shuttle sitting out in front of the hotel with the driver sleeping...Also, with the hotel being so far away, even if it is going back and forth, you're gonna probably wait a long time in that awful Miami heat and humidity (next to all the fumes). 3. The hotel itself is basic, bland, and really, really worn around the edges. They have disengaged teenagers manning the front desk (both times). It's not even really a hotel, more like a cheap motel. I don't often feel the need to check for bed bugs, but I did here. Thankfully, none that I know of. Felt like there were quite a few long-time motel "residents" living there, too. Not usually a good sign. 4. Don't expect food or drink to be options, much less a robe or slippers. Obviously no room service and you'd have to walk a bit to buy anything outside of the place. They have a little shelf in the lobby with chips, cup-o-noodles and bottled water/a few sodas, and it's gonna cost you. The breakfast they provide in the lobby barely passes for food. Anyway, this should be your last choice of airport crash pads. You can do much better - on the drive from baggage claim to this place I saw quite a few much nicer places that were the same price (I checked). Don't trust the ratings here or the enhanced photos.

Quick easy check in and great location for MIA airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Tank Brewing is less than 10 minutes and Loan Depot Park was about 20 minutes. Plenty of gas stations around to fill up if you have a rental car. Only 5 minutes to Rental Car return.

Chose hotel for the early morning shuttle service to airport, which was super punctual and convenient, and used to return car night before. The staff, breakfast, workout room, gathering areas in lobby and quality of sleep was icing on the cake.

Top Notch for travel or family. Clean, friendly and professional. Shuttle service to and from the airport available every 30 minutes. Breakfast was good and served on time. I LOVED THE BED!!! I have a hard time sleeping in most hotel beds. These were amazing. This was our 2nd time staying here and it was a great experience both times.

The breakfast was great with a good variety. The staff was very friendly and polite. However, both of these were overshadowed by the horrible dampness and smell that was within the entire building, leaving you with the overwhelming feeling of uncleanliness. The price seemed expensive though comparable to the surrounding hotels. Though I recommend staying elsewhere.

Having read some of the previous reviews, I think they must have stayed at a different hotel. Before we flew out, I contacted Best Westin about the airport shuttle but never got a meaningful answer from them. on arriving at the shuttle pick-up location, we asked two members of staff about the shuttles and were today that they came regularly. We saw numerous shuttles for other hotels, but none for Best westin and ended up having to take a taxi. On arrival at the hotel, check-in was quick. We went to our room and could smell cannabis in the corridor. The room is dark, very little lighting. Just 3 small lamps in a large room. Other than that, it's not too bad at all. There is no restaurant on site, so you have to out for your evening meal. That wasn't a problem. But breakfast the following morning. There are only plastic plates and cutlery. No bowls for breakfast ceral. These had to be eaten from paper cups. The coffee was like warm, and again, only paper cups. The fruit juice is so weak it only just coloured the water it's diluted with. Cooked breakfast consisted of sausage and egg. Nothing else. And then there's a selection of bread, cakes, yoghurts, and pancakes. Would I stay here again. Maybe. But I'd take a walk 10 mins down the road to Dennys for breakfast.

Staff was great! Clean rooms, Good breakfast and quick shuttle to airport. Had to leave before breakfast began to the airport so staff made us a to go breakfast bag to take with us. Perfect place to stay if flying out of Miami

We will gladly choose this location again, as it had everything we expected and then some! The rooms (we had two) were clean and comfortable. The amenities were plentiful. Most important, the staff was amazing!

We recently stayed here prior and post going on a cruise. This is our third stay over the course of eight years. Although the hotel is starting to show it's age, it's still great due to location to the airport, port and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. A shuttle to and from the airport is included although it ends a midnight. Breakfast is included which is very good - hot items and varied. I didn't realize they can offer a shuttle to the port via a third party for $12 pp. Just found this out from another couple who we met when we arrived for our post cruise stay. It's just a five minute walk to three gas stations where you can pick up wine, sandwiches, snacks etc. so a good location. We also found the hotel very quiet and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here one night. Couldn't initially get access as the door was locked (9.30pm) after a delayed flight. Huge room. Needs an update. Air con good. Bed comfortable enough. Sheets spotless. Iron and iron board in room. Just a little bland. Imagine what some bright colours could do here… Staff nice and friendly though.

Check-in and check-out were efficient and the staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great and had all of the items to make for a good meal (hot and cold). The ladies serving the food from the kitchen were also quite friendly. Common areas were very clean and appeared well maintained. A/C in our room worked well. The one negative was that our room smelled a little damp. It was very clean, but it had a slight odor to it. It may just be that I am not used to the humidity of Florida.

We stayed here a night returning from our Dominica trip. The rooms are very spacious and beds super comfortable. There are a few restaurants walking distance from the hotel and a small store that offers ready made healthy meals, beer, and wine.

This hotel has a nice lobby. The rooms are very spacious and were very clean. They have coffee makers in the room with plenty of coffee and condiments. They also have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a night before our cruise, and it was perfectly fine. The room was clean and quiet. It was an easy drive to the port, and was close to the airport. Not a lot immediately around the hotel, but we were able to walk to an iHOP for dinner. The included breakfast was fine, nothing special, but enough to get us started for the day.

I had to do a cruise so I chose this hotel because of its location to the airport. Shuttle service to the hotel was fast and easy. Checking in was a breeze and the people at the front desk did an excellent job at it. They were friendly and very helpful. If I have to do another cruise I will stay there again.

Stayed here for two nights after staying in Miami and Key West. Location is very close to the airport, however, we never heard any airplane noise. The hotel is kind of secluded off a busy street but it borders a residential area; it felt empty but safe at the same time. Check-in was quick and was quick to mention about breakfast being served in the morning. Room itself was fairly large. Two beds with enough space and then a table with seats. Room had microwave, mini-fridge and coffee machine. TV was not the latest and channels were relatively limited. The bed was average. I didn't get the best sleep ever but it gets the job done. Bathroom was average sized and no issue with hot water nor pressure. For the price, the hotel was very good. It slightly exceeded my expectations for the area and the size of the rooms. I would stay here again for a few day stay to avoid the traffic of Miami but still be able to drive to surrounding areas.

The bed was the comfiest bed i have slept in and really want one for my own home. Any way of doing this? Staff were really friendly and polite. We stayed in room 414 and it was massive! Amazing shower too! The reason I didn't give a 5* - Only downside was breakfast! Im English so I struggle with the lack of good tea and decent food. I found the food to be ok and the tea terrible so ended with hot chocolate. Id forgot to bring my own tea bag down with me. - Yes I'm that sad! You also eat with black plastic cutlery?! Why?! Also why is everything covered in plastic, maybe the hotel needs to start looking into this and use less plastic to help our oceans?! Would stay here again but probably skip breakfast,

Loved every part of my stay. Long walk to restaurants but worth it. Rooms and public areas were modern and well cared for. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Extensive hot breakfast included with room. Highly Recommended.

Although you can look out the window and see the airport runway, the room was very quiet. No problem sleeping! Very clean and updated room. Great breakfast. Convenient, safe location. Free shuttle bus to the airport and only takes a very few minutes for it to get there.

Great location, close to the airport. No frills location for 3-day base. Free upgraded room which was massive. Free parking and wifi. Recommend hiring a car to travel around. Breakfast was average but more than suitable given the price of the hotel. The air con unit was incredibly noisy. We requested rear facing room but were put on the front so aeroplanes were quite loud. The aircon unit acted as white noise, but still not ideal. Returned our car the night before we flew out and the free shuttle to the airport in the morning was good.

We chose this location because it was close to the airport. It was very clean, and everything in the room was great, would definitely recommend! Breakfast was okay for a quick meal, a typical continental breakfast.

We chose this hotel because it had a shuttle to the airport, internet and a pool for our 15 hour layover. I would describe it as a 1.5 star. The biggest issue was that we booked a shuttle with hotel staff at arrival for the time they suggested to make our flight. We arrived 15 minutes before the shuttle and were told That the shuttle we had reserved was full with other people and that we could take the next shuttle in 45 minutes. Our room number was written in a later slot although hotel stated that we needed the earlier time to make it on time. They never said a word at check in about that time being full if it was at that time. Both employees were less than helpful and saying “nothing we can do.” The entire point of staying in an airport shuttle hotel is the airport shuttle! Thankfully the driver, Abraham, overheard as I was trying to book a $60 Uber and said he could take us THIS MOMENT. We jumped in the shuttle and he rushed us there. That made all the difference and Abraham saved the day. Would not recommend unless it was the only hotel available in an emergency and the other option is sleeping in the airport. Other: -internet did not work in our 2 rooms except when we were standing in the lobby -TV did not work -ice buckets had old food in them under the new bag -the whole place smells like mildew -very depressing environment and decor -mildew all along shower caulk lines -brown chunky stuff on shower sprayer -everything felt a little “moist” -afraid to let out stuff touch the floor -hardly any light in the dark brown room Positives: -plenty of clean towels -coffee was good for hotel coffee -DoorDash will deliver here -Abraham and Raul were nice and friendly drivers

It was super to stay in this lovely, clean and comfortable hotel near to the airport. I am happy to find it. The pool and the gym was excellent, the room with a king size bed, good air condition, koffe maker, hair dryer, bath tube was very relaxing. Moreover we meet a very friendly women in the reception: Stephanie who was the most kindliest person I have ever met.

Stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise, they provide complimentary shuttle from/to Miami airport and you just need to call the hotel when you arrive in Miami and tell them your location (which zone) so they can pick you up. Room was nice and spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and they even had a rain shower!! We had a late flight on our return and needed someplace to store our luggages while we explore Miami for a few hours, and we found out that we could store our luggage at the hotel's storage and schedule a shuttle to the airport if we could prove that we had a prior reservation. Worked out great, would stay at this hotel again the next time we're in Miami for a cruise!

We have booked our future stay 24/06 until 28/06 we have contacted the hotel to confirm our reservation and received and excellent service, looking forward yo our next stay. We are celebrating our daughter and son birthday this weekend.

Staff was great. Room was not. Smelled musty and everything feels damp. I sleep fully clothed just so I didn't have to touch the sheets with my skin. Did the park and fly thing. We do that a lot, but I won't use this hotel again.

We weren't there that long - but our room was clean and well-equipped. The pool and work out room looked to be in good shape. We had to leave early - so I didn't get much breakfast - but it looked like a nice selection. Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful with prompt pick-ups and deliveries to Miami International. Walkability to restaurants was a bonus - you DON'T need a car!

Just an overnight stay between flight. The room was clean, staff polite but breakfast is not fresh nor was it hot. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our evening shuttle after 3 phone calls...we missed eating any dinner. The following week we stayed here again transiting from international and the shuttle was timely but we were too early for the breakfast so they gave us a bag with a miniature yogurt, a granola bar and an apple. A child's meal perhaps. There are other same priced options...consider them

We were on a family trip and stayed for one night (because of the delayed flight we arrived at 3am and checked out at 11am). We had a short night at the hotel, enjoyed breakfast, checked out and left. When we got home a week later and checked our bills we noticed that the hotel silently charged us an additional $100. We immediately called the hotel to ask why this happened and the response was that the “alarm clock” was missing in the room after we left and we needed to pay for it. Note that they never bothered to contact us (phone or email) about the missing item and just took the liberty to take this money. Regarding the phone call that I made, in my opinion, this issue was poorly handled by the management, the communication was rude and basically ended up with person on the phone repeatedly saying that the item is missing, they are sure that we took it and we need to pay. Should I say we didn't steal it? Of course, now being 1,300 miles away I have no proof and I've no idea what should work as a proof. I checked other one-star reviews below and guess what? There is at least one review (Jan 2020) where the guest is complaining about a similar charge, also for the "stolen" alarm clock! Besides, why would someone need some used cheap (?) alarm clock from a hotel? I'm starting to suspect an "inside housekeeping theft ring operation", hilariously focused on clocks... I have disputed the charge through my credit card company and strongly suggest you to check your transactions for these silent charges if you ever stayed at this place. Also, I don't think I will ever stay at this place again but I am trying to think of theoretically possible preventative measures to keep this from happening again. Going over the list of items one by one with the housekeeper on checkin/checkout? Not even funny.

Booked this hotel and was willing to pay a little more for a stress free stay. Hotel shuttle and driver were good. Pick up wait was about the time it took for him to drive to MIA so make sure you call to say come get. Front desk staff were good quick and easy. No sanitized sticker on room door like you see in the Best Western Ad's on Internet or TV ...why promote it if you don't do it??? No Big deal... Just a couple of little things that turned us off ...TV Remote was dead ...front desk said they would send matenance person who never showed eventually Front desk lady came up with a new remote and TV was fine. Only found one hair in the bathroom sink ..is that OK for $165 a night? and the internet did not work at all WTF ....Breakfast was good and the ladies looking after same were good as well. Seems they have good people upfront but behind the scenes not so much

There's nothing wrong with the rooms. The free breakfast is OK. But checking in at 9:00 p.m. is a trial when there's a line, there's only one person at the desk, and she speaks English only poorly. And when you ask if you can have a drink in the hotel, she directs you to a sports bar a quarter of a mile away.

Desk staff unprofessional, internet freezes from time to time, some TV channels have no audio sound like the travel channel and insist on security deposit regardless if you are a reward Best Western member.

Unfortunately our flight was cancelled and we had to find a last minute room for our family. After another hotel didn't have our room available we frantically found this one. It was filthy. The carpet was so dirty and worn down. The walls had dried drips streaking down all over the room. The curtains were covered in stains, two lamps didn't work, the couch had smears of soemthing on it. Everywhere you focused on you noticed how incredibly dirty everything was. This place needs a major overhaul and serious deep cleaning. It's absolutely filthy. If it wasn't our only last minute option we wouldn't have stayed.

Great hotel located near Miami International Airport for overnight stays. I chose this hotel due to a flight delay and cancellation. I was pleasantly surprised by its location, friendly staff and its free shuttle service to and from the airport with little wait time. The room was very clean with attractive furniture and a very comfortable bed.

I missed my flight and Lamar's helped me so well I feel so much better now she made sure I ate and had a wonderful lovely pleasant check in I love her attitude and spirit will visit again I am mad I missed my flight but glad I came to sonedta hotel Miami

This was a very nice hotel with attractive rooms. They have soap, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower, which is convenient and saves the environment. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious and the food was quickly replenished by the two attendants. We returned our rental car to the airport the day before we flew out and there was a long delay before the hotel shuttle picked us up to take us back to the hotel. The driver spoke little English. This also caused a problem in the morning When we went to the airport and we didn't understand he was letting us off. He did find us a cart for our luggage and showed us where to go. Pleasant 2 day stay after American cancelled our flights. Clean comfortable room. Staff wore their masks. Breakfast was fine. Shuttles were on time. Had business computer station and printer. Some Tv channels were missing and did not have tv lineup menu in room

We normally stay at Hampton or holiday express but I was pleasantly surprised with This BW hotel with both the room and the quality of the breakfast. We were picked up at the airport and provided information for restaurants around the hotel and they provided a shuttle ride back to the airport.

This hotel was a great option for us. When we got to the airport we called and they sent a van to pick us up. The bed was comfortable and there was a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. We didn't have a view or anything but for 2 nights it didn't matter, we weren't there during the day. It was quiet, we couldn't hear airplanes or anything though had the a/c on. Breakfast is decent, they had fruit, yogurt, a different type of egg each day and breads and pancakes. It's not gourmet by any means but better than some continental breakfasts I've seen. We walked less than half a mile to a relatively new taco place for dinner the first night which was great. There aren't too many restaurants nearby under a mile…a couple of pubs, and the second night we tried to get delivery but we were unable to so we walked over to a convenience store that had a deli and they made greats subs so it worked, but if you want a hotel with a restaurant in it for dinner or look elsewhere. Signed up for the return shuttle to the airport without any problems.

We stayed here one night before cruise. Called for airport pickup. Didnt have to wait long. Just make sure you know where the van will stop for pickup. (On the other side of the road from the door you walk out). Hotel was clean and fast check in. Area seems to be safe enough to walk at night. We walked down to The Ping House. They also deliver. We setup transport to cruise port thru the hotel. I think it was $ 16 a person. I would stay here again.

Comfortable room for a few hours sleep between the flights. Easy to get there with a shuttle, which you have to call to pick you. In the morning the shuttles are scheduled. No time to test the pool, which seemed nice. The breakfast was sad. Everything packed in plastic.

We had a pleasant stay here. The front desk staff was absolutely excellent in a time of almost no customer service anywhere. Really nice. Rooms were good and the location of the hotel was great. Shuttle service was also very nice. Just a straightforward good overall experience!

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The front desk associates were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The check in and our process was smooth and fast. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I stayed 2 nights (few days apart) in Queen Suite. It consisted with 2 queen beds plus queen sofa bed - sleep 6. Only problem was the condition of sofa bed - it is old and sagged, loud squeaking noise with every movement. Rm # 320 had sofa bed frame bent, I had to stuff pillows to elevate the head of bed! The hotel was fully booked so there was no other alternative but to put up with it. If you are staying with big group, I would get 2 rooms instead this one.

The Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel & Suites, Miami, FLORIDA is very comfortable, clean and updated. It is just 10 minutes to the airport but we heard no airport noise. The staff is exceptional and the breakfast has a nice variety. I highly recommend this Hotel if you need to be close to the airport.

Don't ever make the mistake of booking the Best Western Plus Airport Hotel instead of the Best Western Plus Executive Airport Hotel. You will only be sent away in the rudest manner, will have to organize your own Uber for 30$. So rude! Worst ever.

The Beds and pillows are not comfortable. I would not believe the reviews. The Air Conditoner worked great. The people at the Front desk were very friendly and nice. The shower pressure and temperature were also nice after traveling all day.

Used this hotel after spending 6 nights for business at a nearby Clarion hotel. The front desk personnel were so much friendlier and spoke English versus Spanish. The hotel was much cleaner and the overall amenities were much better. Great value for the money

Stayed 1 night before out cruise. Has a shuttle from the airport which is good. No restaurant but there are a few within walking distance. Room was nice and recently remodeled. They also offer a cruise port shuttle for $15. We would definitely stay again.

The rooms are decorated nicely, I read some people complain of colors being dark but they actually are calming and rooms very well done. The bed was great and even though being close to airport, very minimum noise, got a good night sleep. Staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good variety. Business center helped with being able to print boarding passes. We chose this locale for proximity to airport and a 6 a.m. shuttle service which operates every half hour starting at 4 am I believe. I would call first to confirm if needed that early. All worked out perfectly!

Great place with cozy, clean rooms and varied breakfasts. The location is great, everything is within walking distance, its own parking is also very convenient and polite friendly staff. UNWAYS RECOMMEND!

My one night stay was OK. I had to wait a few minutes passed check in time for housekeeping to get a room ready for me. The front desk clerk was very nice when I couldn't locate the TV remote in my room. The room was adequately clean. It was located on the first floor. Early in the evening I fell asleep while watching TV. I was startled from sleep from the sound of slamming closing of doors. Every little bit I heard the annoying bothersome loud sound. I finally went into the hallway to find out what the noise was. It seemed to be coming from above so I went up the stairs near my room to the next level. There I realized that when the heavy doors shut from above my room which made a loud noise echoed into my room. That went on (off and on) until night-time and everything was quiet until morning. In the morning the door noises began again echoing into my room but I didn't care so much in the morning. Check out was good and breakfast was nice. The incidental fee dropped off my credit card very quickly. The noise was a game changer for me booking again.

Been checked in for 3 hours. Clean-5, friendly and helpful staff-5+, public ice dispenser works/clean, air and fridge works!, spacious room (2 queen non-smoking), bathroom and tub clean, $value outstanding. This has restaurants within walking distance, neighborhood does not look/feel 'sketchy', basic pizza or asian delivery. Convenient parking. Don't come in expecting a resort and you shouldn't be disappointed, excellent value for a 'in Miami' room. Again, front desk worth mentioning twice - very courteous and friendly. (Additional extended parking for your flight or cruise was reasonable $8/night)

This hotel had a 4 star review so when choosing an option for a 1 night stay for business, I felt this wAs a good option. I am a Diamond Select client - highest reward tier, and I wanted to see what that would offer since this was the first time I had (or stayed in a Best Western) long enough to get this. The check in was shocking. The front desk staff yelled at a potential guest who had come forward to ask another question towards the end of my check in process (they had obviously previously been speaking). I was never acknowledged as a rewards member of any kind. The room was comfortable but poorly lit. Without daylight, there would be a strain on your eyes. The breakfast was simple, but the attendant was unhelpful- be aware that 30 mins before it ends they start clearing away things like pancake maker. Checkout was unprofessional- I asked if there was a manager's card and pointed to a stack of hotel cards with a general phone number. This hotel is good if price was lower and you don't expect much as a top tier rewards member.

Chosen because of complimentary airport shuttle and complimentary “hot” breakfast. Transportation to cruise port is NOT complimentary. They boost of enhanced cleaning but there isn't any my coffee make had water and iron had water in it. Breakfast was your basic continental style with a dry taco looking egg cheese and ham omelette and pork sausage. If you don't eat pork nothing hot for you. No hard boiled eggs either. There was a man who was not wearing a mask coughing and sneezing while getting his food so I went to the front desk and the woman said no one has to wear a mask anywhere if they are vaccinated and they can't ask for proof. Every buffet I've been to require you to wear a mask while handling food but once your seated you can remove it. Maybe it's a Florida thing where this pandemic is running rampant. They don't care so people since they won't protect you protect yourself because these businesses only care about your $$$ The rooms are big and nicely appointed. There is nothing in the area for activities. A few fast food restaurants but not walkable. Good for overnight stay unless you have a car.

We traveled to Miami for a cruise and wanted a nice hotel that was not extremely expensive for the night before. We settled on the airport area for the best value and determined that the Best Western was our best option based on reviews and price. We were very pleased with our stay and felt that this was the best hotel that we stayed at during our trip (which included 5 hotel nights).

The purpose of our visit was for a cruise out of the Miami cruise port. Our good experience started with a shuttle bus that came to us at the airport on demand within 15 minutes. The driver was pleasant and helpful and even pointed out places where we could eat along the way. Check-in was handled quickly and efficiently. We entered a room that had a comfortable temperature, with air conditioning working well and not loud. The room was a good size and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the remote control for the TV, which needed new batteries. They came quickly and fixed that for us. I feel this place deserves five stars because of its pool, shuttle, and hot breakfast. Some places are leaving their pool closed “because of Covid.” The shuttle takes you to and from the airport on demand, not by a schedule as some hotels do. Breakfast has plenty of offerings, including hot eggs, sausage links, and sausage patties. They have cereals and fruit, too. The muffins were large. The only thing missing among the amenities was a hot tub, which we would have liked. We were quite happy with this hotel for one night and will return at the end of our stay in Florida before we fly home.

This Best Western is showing its age a bit, especially in the lobby and common areas. The downstairs rooms feel small and claustrophobic; we moved to a third-floor room facing the golf course and were quite comfortable. The room, bed, bathroom, and shower were all great; the view green and refreshing. I deducted a star because, in spite of being “no smoking,” the smell of marijuana was faint but persistent throughout our stay. But since this is literally the first hotel in eighteen months that has had the guts to return to serving a HOT BREAKFAST, I gave back a star. They also have easy parking, free coffee 24 hours in the lobby, and a very punctual though not particularly friendly airport shuttle driver. Here is my best Miami Airport tip: If you are staying at a local hotel and have a rental car you need to return to Miami Airport and are older, physically challenged, have lots of luggage, are traveling with kids, or just want to make things easier, drop your car off a day early and Uber or taxi from the Rental Car Return back to your hotel. That way, you can get dropped off right at departures on your travel day. For some bizarre reason, only private cars are allowed to drop passengers right at the curbside departure area. The shuttle, and apparently Uber and taxis all have to drop you on the lower level. It still saves a long hike to your check-in counter.

Great place to stay. Please is clean and it's well designed from lobby to your room. Rooms are very spacious and breakfast is great. There is a little bit of everything and menu is different everyday. Oh and there's coffee 24hrs. :)

Booked this room at the last minute to avoid having a 12-hour layover in the airport. It was okay. The bed was quite soft and sank to the middle. The shower curtain was also moldy. Surprising for a BWP.

The hotel room is okay - but was not really worth the price we paid. We stayed here for a nighttime layover that we had. What I was extremely disappointed in was the front desk staff and their lack of customer service. When checking in on a Friday night, we confirmed the shuttle schedule for the next morning at 6AM. When speaking with the female front desk staff Friday night she persuaded us to get on the 6AM shuttle, not the 6:30AM to make sure we would get to our flight on time. She said we were booked on the 6AM and good to go. The next morning we checked out and boarded the shuttle at 5:55AM. Then the same female front desk staff told us we needed to get off the shuttle since there was no room for us and that we needed to take the 6:30AM. She did not offer her condolences nor was she apologetic, as SHE WAS THE ONE who told us to take the 6AM and booked it for us. All she kept saying was “there's no room. You need to take the 6:30AM”. We then got off and had to wait for the 6:30AM shuttle and rush to our flight. What frustrated me the most was the lack of customer service. As someone who works in customer service, the situation should have been handled differently and with better wording. Even a “I apologize that there was a mixup, there is currently no room for you on this shuttle and I have made sure there is room on the next one for you” would've gone a lot farther. I would say if you stay at this hotel for just the room, it might be suitable but their shuttle situation is extremely unreliable and the staff are disappointing.

Good for an airport stay. The room was quite comfortable and clean. Decent breakfast was included with eggs, yogurt, fruit and such. The price of the room was great too. I appreciated the free parking.

We stayed here one night because it was close to the airport and had free shuttle service. The surrounding neighborhood did not warrant going out after dark. Even though it was an overcast day the hotel was still very dark.We had 5 lamps in our room which did little to brighten things up. Breakfast was a horror. I could not eat it. The computers in the business center were very slow. When I wanted to print out my airline boarding passes I was led to a commercial site. It took a long time for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport even though the distance form the hotel is not very far. I asked for the shuttle driver to drive us to the airport at 7:30 AM. When I went to check out after 7 I was told I could not because my wife was still in the room. At 7:25AM I received an unpleasant call telling me to get down stairs quickly because the shuttle was ready to leave.

For the price, beautiful rooms, very nice amenities, clean spaces, better-than-average breakfast (included), easy parking, well-managed shuttle service to airport, staff willing to go the extra mile for guests. The front of the the hotel looks out toward MIA, but the back of the hotel looks out on a golf course, so that's the pretty view.

Front desk was efficient and my room was spacious and clean. Had to call shuttle when I arrived at MIA. Only issue was the grab & go breakfast. I hardly saw a selection which made it a bit disappointing.

Stay here!!! You can't beat what you get for the price you are paying. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfy. The staff at the front desk were very friendly as well. It's close to the airport, but you (surprisingly) can't hear a lot of noise from planes taking off and landing. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Airport hotels are always a bit of a crapshoot—I feel grateful that my recent overnight stay was a positive experience. My room was spacious, with separate sitting area and pantry/bar (microwave, fridge, coffeemaker.) Decor & furnishings were tasteful. Ample outlets—standard electric & usb. What I most wanted to mention is the breakfast. Not having traveled in more than a year, I had no idea whether breakfast would be available, or how it would be handled in a property that had offered hot/buffet items in pre-Covid times. My first priority in the morning is good coffee, & I was not disappointed on that score. Also available for self-serve were fresh fruit, juice and yogurt. I was presented with a sealed paper plate containing the following individually-wrapped items: sausage links, egg, bagel, cheese slice. danish & Nutrigrain bar. It may not have looked very appealing, but it was convenient to take back to my room for reheating in the microwave. The results of warming the egg, sausage & danish were better than decent. I had chosen the hotel in part due to positive reviews of their attention to Covid protocols. I was glad to see that they have also managed to adapt their breakfast service in a way that allows them to continue this amenity in a safe way. Kudos!

These folks are really doing their best. Our driver FROM the airport was extraordinarily kind, quick & thoughtful with a hand out of local restaurants & tips (which was mostly up to date, but, hey, covid changes things daily). Room was very clean, spacious and well laid out. Pros - filling and pretty good breakfast you can warm in your room, quick shuttle to/from airport, friendly/conscientious breakfast and front desk staff, room was clean, comfortable, spacious & well designed, comfortable bed and bedding, indoor pool open (seemed clean but did not use), small but adequate workout room, lots of wipes/gel/sanitizing supplies available, 24 hr tea/coffee availability. Cons - alien autopsy lighting in the shower (really, work on the spectrum on those LEDs, guys), only one extremely overused yoga/workout mat in gym area, not all guests (and one staff member) were consistent in their masking even though signs are clearly visible throughout. We would definitely stay again. Stay before this was a Crowne Plaza & this place put them to shame. Really was a great deal with all that was included.

It has been almost a year since our stay but better late than never to write a good review. Actually it was February 10, 2020. The drop down selection only started at March 2020. Have been meaning to write a quick appreciation to the hotel staff, especially Edurardo M. who made our stay enjoyable. We had a quiet large room on an upper floor. Eduardo was most helpful in giving us walking direction to places to eat in the area. He was very pleasant and accommodating all round. Next morning shuttle to the cruise ship port was right on time and convenient.

I missed seeing 2 of my regular girls at Front Desk, who were exceptional staff, but still quality property. The location is not the Best, but of the 4 hotels on this block, BW Plus is far and above the Best

the first room we were checked in had mold. you could smell it as soon as you entered and one look at the couch you could tell where it was. the brown couch had greyish/white spots all over it. they moved us to another room but then they rented that room to a group of 6 young kids!!! the second room, the room key would not work. had to go down to the lobby twice for room keys before they sent someone up to manually let us in. they stated there was a power surge which messed up the door and they would reprogram it. The next day it still was not fixed. After exchanging the keys for the 4th time they said they would send someone up to let us in. the guy came, let us in and said he would fix the door. My friend took our kids to the pool while i waited. after a while i left to the pool and told the front desk where we were. I checked with the front desk before going back to the room for a new room key again and this one didnt work. had to get housekeeping to let me in. called the front desk who sent a guy with another room key and it didnt work either. I at that point had to ask the front desk for an adjustment to the bill because they never even offered. they FINALLY got it fixed the afternoon of our 2nd night stay. The rooms look outdated was afraid to sit on the couch. thank goodness we bought our own cleaning supplies breakfast due to covid was prepackage but the most unappetizing meal ive ever seen or tasted. a styroform plate with a limp veggie egg pattie, pale sausage and a limp piece of cheese with bread that fell apart at the touch wrapped in saran wrap and a granola bar. I will not be staying at best western or any of their sister hotels again.

We stayed here one night. They have an airport shuttle we didn't use. We arrived late and were greated warmly by staff. Bed was comfy. Coffee in the room and at breakfast not so good. Breakfast was coronavirus wraped plate that was good.

Very good price and clean. But the breakfast is not anything to look forward to. The staff at the front desk were very nice and polite. The laundry room is convenient but they over charge for the detergent.

I stayed at best western for one night, for business, and I experienced really good hospitality by the staff, especially Danna at the reception desk. She went above and beyond with accommodations and was very hard working. Only one comment to best western, maybe you can calm down on the fire alarm drill, almost burst my eardrums. Otherwise a good stay. Excellent hospitality and hygiene. Free shuttle service by the hotel to and from the airport.

The hotel is good for one night stays. Pick up and drop off at the airport was prompt and easy to arrange by calling the hotel or asking at reception. Drivers could be friendlier. We stayed one night. Our room was clean and a good size. We had a room overlooking a golf course. Very quiet at night. Breakfast is very basic American - cheese omelette, sausage, bread and pancakes. Hot drinks and juice. Wi-fi worked well.

Before the virus hit, this hotel had great reviews, and they are well deserved. Check in was easy. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We arrived early, so we had to wait for our room to be ready. The desk told us as soon as the room was available. We were there as the virus was becoming an issue. I'm quite sure that the hotel is always exceptionally clean. However, the housekeeping staff, and in particular the women who service the breakfast area were unbelievably relentless in washing down tables and keeping everything spotless. Kudos to such dedicated workers. This will be our first choice next time we are in this area

It's lovely in the inside and one side has a great view of the golf course. Unfortunately it is in some hard to find area and missed the turn into the area twice! So keep your eyes peeled. The breakfast was satisfactory unless you like sausage then there is none. I love sausages. Otherwise would be a five star. Just kidding. The pillows were ultra firm. It's comfortable at first but feels like you're pressing your head into a rock after a while. Otherwise five stars.

14 friends traveled from Dublin Ireland and stayed in the BWP hotel Miami on a pre cruise overnight stay. Staff are very helpful and efficient and went out of their way in all aspects to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable , breakfast room Ladies we're also very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They organised our transfers to and from the port and airport with ease. We visited Bryson's Irish Bar just down the road the food especially the burgers were amazing with very reasonable prices as was the beer prices. Thank you to all the staff at The Best Western Plus Miami North for been so helpful and making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely return.

Quick rundown of my trip... delayed flight, car rental screw up, 4 hour drive, hotel (original) oversold and turned us away (Holiday Inn Miami West-Airport area), new hotel (Sheraton) lost our reservation (idk how that happened) and at 2:30am we finally found this property. We spoke to Antonio over the phone who assured us that there were rooms available. We got there sceptical considering the first part to our trip, and he just made our whole day better. He has happy, upbeat and accommodating and seem to genuinely care about trying to make our evening just a bit better. Coming down in the morning we wanted to get another night, Rosie made sure to get us in the same room so we did not have to move/inconvenience ourselves. She was helpful and knowledgable about the surrounding area. The breakfast attendants were great as well, making sure the area was clean and tidy throughout the morning. Overall wonderful stay, their staff is certainly quality. Thank you for everything!

Everything was great from the front desk staff to the shuttle driver for the airport. It felt comfortable. We were not able to get breakfast due to an early flight but I imagine it would be good. Our room was perfect. We came early and 2 ladies helped us store our bags until we returned since our room was not ready. It was definitely worth the wait!

We stayed the night here because it was near the airport, and we were to leave the next day for a flight to Buenos Aires. They also store luggage and have an efficient shuttle service to the airport. The rooms are large and clean but a little worn. There is also a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine in each room. The hotel serves a pretty good free breakfast which includes eggs, sausages, coffee and tea, juices, yogurts, and dry cereal. I wasn't impressed with the pastries, but there was a cute little machine where you pressed a button and put your plate on the counter. Two minutes later, the machine extruded the first of two pancakes. There is also a small lounge at the side of the lobby where you can relax while waiting for the shuttle to the airport.

Hotel is close to the Airport. Check-in and check-out smooth and quick. Staff friendly and apperently well trained. spacious and functional - little bit dark. complementary coffee is offered 24 hours. There is not much thinks to do in the nearer surrounding.

Very friendly staff welcomes you in a hotel that is clearly run as a family business. The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom sufficient for one night. Never new that people actually pinch towels! The warning that it will cost is loud and clear. The pool looks great but we did not try. Plenty of parking space and a breakfast that is efficient with a lot of choices. Newspapers available. And tourist information, very handy.

I hesitate to be critical of a nice hotel, but the lobby windows had been painted for the Halloween holiday and said, in dripping blood-red letters "Stay Away" and there were decorations that were a bit too macabre for any guest to feel comfortable. Otherwise, the desk staff was helpful, the hotel itself is nice. I liked our view of the golf course behind the hotel, from a second floor window.

Credit card was charged for total amount prior to checkin. One card was used to guarantee several rooms, and they charged all the rooms to that card prior to checkin. Never had this happen at a BW and I used them almost weekly for business. Also first ever as a Diamond Member was refused a late check-out, and the hotel was clearly NOT full.

Everything was as expected and check in was very fast and easy. Would prefer that that allowed me to email my flight information to them so that can be there when I get off instead of waiting in the cold and also to start breakfast earlier to accommodate for early flights.

I did stay just one night at this hotel but I will definitely stay again in a near future. It was clean and spacious. it is close to the airport and shuttle bus it is very convenience and efficient. Customer services is a plus.

We booked prior to our cruise. This hotel is in a great location. It is close to the airport, the Miami ports and downtown. They also provide shuttles to all of the above. The hotel is very clean, well kept with very friendly and professional staff.

This hotel definitely got some things right, but also had so frustrating points which blighted our stay. The good, is the shuttle bus and drivers were super convenient and helpful, and the hotel itself was very clean, with a nice room. The bad. There is a lack of sound proofing so the noise from overhead aircraft is way higher than it should be, the breakfast area is tiny meaning an awful experience but most of all there is a rather intimidating and strict atmosphere from reception. We understand hotel rules help all guests have a good time but we found the reception quite aggressive in telling us about pool hours and so forth, making us feel quite edgy with our kids. Also disappointing no safe or scales in exercise room as it's an airport hotel. Could have been five stars with friendlier attitude.

This hotel is for people who don't care about smelly rooms, bad ventilation systems, poor internet connection, terrible breakfast, and dust... No idea how they got so much good reviews on google... If you don't mind pay money for terrible service then you must try...

Sandy at the front desk was amazing from the moment we arrived and was a big help getting us to the cruise terminal. Nice place in a good location with many dining options near by. I suggest you try Old Tom's Sports Bar.

Location is very convenient to MIA but just far enough away that we did not experience airport noise. We found the rooms to be dark, but exceptionally clean. Breakfast was mediocre at best but we found it to still be a good value for the price.

Natalia is the best! She was in the breakfast area cleaning up & seen me struggling with my food. I was getting a lot please don't judge me. She walks over to me & asks "Can I help you?" She is my Shero! She put her Cape on & saved the day. Please give her a raise! In case I got her name wrong ( don't judge me) she has a beauty mark above her lip.

This was a lovely hotel, fairly new. The staff was great, Rosie checked us in. We were given a list of hotel services and surrounding area services including restaurant recommendations and food delivery choices. We walked to a local restaurant and felt very safe in the neighborhood stopping to chat with locals. The room was beautiful with crown molding and a rain shower head. Very clean.

Family stayed here for one night because our flight was ridiculously early the following day. Facilities look new, room was big (enough), and you almost can't get any closer to the airport. They had a complimentary shuttle ready for us at 5am on the nose, and made up care packages for all five of us. I wish I'd taken the staff's names so I could give them props, but alas, I did not. This is not a resort. It's in a bit of an industrial area, so don't expect to walk to the beach. It's a business/overnight place. It's like the other express hotels (Hampton, HI express etc), but the personal attention was really outstanding. Well done. If I pass thru Miami again, I'd stay there in a heartbeat.

This one was a little better than the one we stayed in Savannah in terms of noise. Even though it is located right next to the airport, noise was not an issue at all. Again, we were very happy with the breakfast.

Nice comfy room and quite okay eat-till-you-drop breakfast. Friendly day staff. But please, please Best Western, train your evening staff! Waited for over an hour at the airport for our shuttle driver, whom a Best Western staffer sent to Door 22 instead of 21 at Miami International Departures. Then, because our receptionist was unaware that the hotel shuttle would take us to the Greyhound Station at the airport the following day, we wasted time making other plans, arrived way too early for our bus. In other words, Best Western, your staff's ignorance is a hindrance to your guests' stay in an otherwise good one-nighter.

An incredible value for such nice accomidations. Ed was accomidating during booking of the room Lucy and Donna were friendly and fast during check in and check out. Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms are spacious and close to airport. Not a lot to see or do in walking distance, but many counter service options for food.

Stayed here as arrived late into Miami airport, short Uber ride away though the hotel also offers a free shuttle service. Reception staff were friendly and room comfortable with no noise from the airport. Would stay here again if need to be close to airport

Stayed here for one night after we flew in to transfer to a cruise. Great hotel of a short stay, close to the airport and the staff arranged transportion to the cruise port with a shuttle for $10 p/p. Would recommend this hotel for a layover. Didn't get to explore the area so could not say if this would be a good location for a longer stay.

We stayed overnight for our cruise the following day. We loved it. Comfortable beds & pillows. Very clean and well maintained property. Staff is great and helpful. Only downside for me was not having the hotel waffles. Not really a deal breaker for this property since everything else was so great. Free airport shuttle also arrive quickly once notified about our arrival. Will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in Miami again.

Stayed here one night while awaiting my flight to South America. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient to the airport with a free shuttle (must be requested but didn't seem to be a real issue). But far enough from airport to not be too noisy. Free breakfast was good with hot options including eggs, bacon, and waffles. Hotel staff was very kind and accommodating.

Stayed for one night after arriving at Miami airport. Called hotel and was promptly picked up by shuttle once we had arrived. Room spacious and clean and the staff very all helpful. Free breakfast in the morning. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Used this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. They offered free shuttle service from the airport and a shuttle to the cruise port for $10. Hotel was clean, shower was hot with a great shower head, and breakfast was awesome - omelettes, pancakes, fruit cups, fresh fruit, oatmeal, juice, plus pastries and bagels - included in the room cost. Great deal, and I'll definitely stay again!

Great visit. The staff - Lucy and Eduardo - were wonderful. The hotel shows a little age, but everything seems clean. The decor is modern and appealing. The view of the golf course is great from the 4th floor. The shuttle takes a few minutes to get to the pickup area on the departure level, but I needed a break from all the walking in the airport anyway. I will stay here again. Thanks Best Western- for a good nights sleep and comfortable bed.

Very accommodating at check-in, Beautiful room, and Delicious breakfast. Went out of their way to make sure everything was just PERFECT. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Miami in the future.

We spent one night at the hotel this Oct 2019. The room itself was fine. However, when we arrived we were shocked at the decorations. Blood and spooky stuff was all over the lobby area. Scary messages written with blood on the door, bloody foot prints, scary 3D portraits, what appeared as an upside down body in a black sack was hanging by the window adjacent to the lobby, scary ghosts were hanged above the breakfast area. It's just way too much. Our children were scarred and didn't want to linger much around lobby or breakfast area. Thankfully all the spooky stuff were just at the lobby floor. Best Western Miami should advertise themselves as “haunted house”. We didn't expect to run into this kind of situation. We were very disappointed. Unless the management decides to change their decorations, we will not come back around October.

I spent one night at the hotel before leaving on an international flight. I was very happy with the room and the fact that there was no noise even tho I was very near the airport. I decided to extend my stay through the following day and was able to do so with no problem at a very reasonable rate.

We stayed one night at the Best Western Plus and initially my concern was that we could see the airport runway from our view! Both of us were amazed that the soundproofing was so good and yet so close! None of the jets coming and going caused us a moment of lost sleep! Our room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable! We were welcomed by a friendly and knowledgeable young man named Ed! We had an appointment at the airport in the morning and he explained that he could put us down for the free airport shuttle and we could call upon our return. That was a bonus because we had planned to drive over and pay for parking! The return shuttle was equally easy! One note to future guests. Don't forget to tip your shuttle drivers. We dropped off two other couples at two other gates prior to us (with luggage) and neither gave him a thing. When my husband tipped him he said it was too much and he said he was trying to make up for those who had taken advantage before us. Breakfast was busy but tables were continually cleaned and food refreshed! Very organized (and tasty). Thanks to a great team who did their part to make our part a five star stay!

We stayed one night because we had an early morning flight and it was convenient. The room was clean. However, the lobby area was “decorated” for Halloween. We have 2 children and it was a bit much. There were bloody footprints on the floor and blood on the walls. We didn't use the pool or eat breakfast because my son was so scared. I'm all for decorating for holidays, but this is a hotel where small children visit. I would have walked out and went to another hotel, but I already paid online. Parents of small children, if you are planning to visit before November 1st, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Delayed for 14 hours in Miami, so we ran over to the Best Western to sleep... Great air and comfortable beds. Close to the airport.... Clean and nice. Left at 3:30 am so did not have the opportunity to eat breakfast.

The location is perfect for the beach, casino, airport and cruise ports. Clean hotel and very professional staff. “Sandra” is calm, pleasant and displayed amazing customer service! She's the reason I'd use this specific location again. She knows the area very well and even offered some amazing suggestions for parking while my family and I cruised for the week.

We stayed for 2 nights for a long layover. Sandra at the front desk was so helpful checking us in and out. She also helped us set up an excursion for our extra day in Miami. The rooms were clean, and all the staff was friendly. A great value for the price! We would stay here again!

Free shuttle bus from Miami airport every 30 minutes(ish). (make sure you get on the right shuttle, because there are several Best Western hotels in the Miami area!) Check-in staff excellent - very helpful and polite. Room spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Own coffee making machine and mini-fridge. Bed lovely. Quiet. No restaurant in hotel, but plenty of room service delivered to your door from outside restaurants. Inclusive buffet breakfast in the morning was basic, but adequate. Great for travellers with an overnight stay in Miami.

Reminded me of Sunday morning at mama's. It was such a comforting experience! Food was excellent and Ms. Mabel was amazing! Her hospitality was on point and her attention to detail was impressive. This place is sure an asset to Best Western and definitely makes me stay better! Hat goes off to you! Thank you and until next time.

After a 10-hours-flight, the room was very accomadating, clean and quiet (backside of the hotel). What a surprise the other morning: Got the best breakfast ever in the US with a large choice of everything. I wqill recommend this hotel for sure!

The driver who dropped us at the airport was great and the desk staff was friendly. That's the best I can say. The shuttle pick up was awful and left me waiting for a half hour. iPhone and every 5 to 10 minutes and each time was told that the van was only five minutes away. We follow the Jewish dietary laws in most hotels are very cooperative in letting us check labels to see whether the food carries a certification. Not this one. We were running short on sleep and had a 13 hour international flight the next morning. But Wi-Fi was down for several hours and no one was able to predict when it would be back up. Result: several hours delay in being able to check in online and print our boarding passes. So much for the early nights sleep we had been looking forward to. And because the Internet was down we could not even watch television while we were waiting. The bathroom floor and the bathtub didn't seem particularly clean. The room did not have adequate lighting or lamps.

This Best Western Plus Property is simply wonderful, and deserves special recognition for the Service & Care that is so obviously a vital part of what is important to everyone that is a part of this Wonderful Team. It is not an exaggeration to state that is Best Western Plus Property is Outstanding in almost every category, from Rooms that are furnished with style and quality, to Lobby that is kept in immaculate condition 24/7, to Staff that are all Excellent at their Jobs & enjoy what they do, to the Unique feature of an Indoor Swimming Pool always kept in pristine condition! This is what not only all Best Western Hotels should strive to be like, its what All Hotels should emulate!

First let me give credit where due, my room was very clean and comfortable, thank you to housekeeping staff. Extra big desk was handy to do my work. Breakfast was very good, all the staff was very polite and helpful. My issue with the hotel was the condition of the pool, the pool was filthy you could not see the bottom of the pool, which means your chemical balance was way off. The circulation pump was off the whole weekend, it is a required code that the circulation pump stays on the pool & serviced every day by certified CPO tech. 24/7 365 days a year. Anyone that went into that pool has a 100% chance of getting sick. Entering the enclosed pool room you could smell how bad the air quality was, I left the room immediately . If your hotel owner will not spend the money to have the pool serviced every day like code requires , then fill it in and make use of the room for something else ! After talking with staff and your repeat guests , your pool has been in this condition for a long time. Shame on the owner. The meeting room has such bad lighting I suggest you bring your own lamp if your in a meeting and will have to read anything. Again, the staff is what makes your hotel worth staying at, fix the pool and meeting room lighting and there is no reason you shouldn't get 5 stars from everyone who stays there. The exterior of the building was very clean and well kept.

Landed in Miami day prior to cruise. Not sure how many minutes from Airport to BW as we took a shuttle (not from BW as we couldn't find telephones in airport). Should have made arrangements with BW for transportation prior to leaving Canada. It was late at night, raining therefore very dark. Driver got lost and we kept going in circles in shady residential area. Got really nervous. Anyhow, finally made it to the BW. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and nicely decorated. The do not have a restaurant on the premises however were offered a menu for a fast food that delivers and a list of restaurants near by. They have a shuttle to the pier (you have to pay but its a great service). The breakfast has a variety and the staff is very friendly. Not sure what is around as we arrived at night and did not adventure out and left early the next am. Would stay at this BW again but would make transportation arrangements as I believe the shuttle is free. Did not use the pool but did go see it. It is a fair size.

I stayed at the Best western with my daughter. The thing that stands out most to me was the wonderful services i got by an beautiful settled Hispanic chef that works there , at Mabel's restaurant.She looked like someone i met before.I didn't bother to get her name , but i referred to her as Mama in my mind. My daughter and i wanted breakfast . Despite it being after 11 am and a local Dennys, and burger king across the street, we wanted to try the local restaurant. When we got there breakfast was over . There was a lady sitting down, and appeared to be tallying her checks for the day. Breakfast was over but since the two of you i serve she said. I did not buy her semi stern demeanor. I my self am a chef and i could see she was a sweet heart for offering to serve us. She went in the back after taking our orders and came back on the grill, working skillfully preparing the most amazing blue berry pancakes eggs and sausage i have ever had in my life! The portions were generous . Both myself and my daughter were happy. I expressed to her how grateful i was, and she was happy. I have business to conduct soon, and the reason i am going back is her. The other staff were ok but this lady stands out . "Mama" rocked! She is my favorite!

We missed a flight after being on a cruise to the Bahamas, and didn't want to stay in the airport until the next day so I called the hotel and they had a room and shuttle ready for me and my wife everything was nice and easy.

Tangela was very nice and patience with me during my stay. She is very helpful and kind. Would definitely come back just because of her. Highly recommend anyone to stay. Best stay at a hotel ever. Come and get a wonderful experience too

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Hotel is clean but it's a no frills place. It was located close to the Miami airport and other locations. It is good for business and quick trips for a specific reason. I would not recommend for a vacation scenario.

Checked in July 26 after 11pm, Front desk very professional, rooms very clean, breakfast always on point breakfast staff very friendly. every thing here was on point. Whenever we're in Miami this will always be my go to hotel.

Donna at the desk was amazing. I came in at 10am to rest for a few hours before my flight. Even though check in is not til 3pm Donna found us a room, offered us breakfast and also explained my options to get to Fort Lauderdale airport. The shuttle took me to the train and the driver walked me in far enough to make sure I didn't get lost. Donna saved me $50 in cab fare by telling me about the train. She was so professional and it is obvious that she cares about the guests. And the shuttle driver went above and beyond as well. The breakfast was great and the room was very clean, beautiful decor and everything worked perfectly. I will make sure that this is my hotel choice whenever I fly from Miami!

We only stayed here one night but it was a pleasant stay. We needed a room close to the airport, that offered extended parking, free shuttle service and a room/ suite that could sleep 5. This place did it all. As well as offering a free hot breakfast. We booked a double room with a sleeper sofa and it was plenty big enough for 4 adults and one child to sleep in. The rooms are well insulated, so we didn't even know we were across from the airport. Eduardo, at the desk, we extremely pleasant and helpful as far as recommending a place nearby for us to eat dinner, working out a time for collection in the morning of the shuttle and telling us the best place to leave our car for 5 days. At $6 a day extended parking, it's a deal. Should I ever need to fly out of Miami again, I would stay here.

I think I was expecting more because of all the rave reviews. Food was eh, service was eh, very nice shuttle driver who arranged to get me to the airport when I needed to be there. I arrived very early and had to pay $60 extra for an early check in, even being a BW member or wait 8hours until 3pm normal check in. Indoor pool was out of commission both mornings I was there. Takes about 20-25minutes on an UBER or LYFT into Miami Beach/South Beach area which is definitely worth doing. Not much happening in the hood that surrounds the hotel, a few places to eat but nothing too appealing unless you are a big Dennys or Burger King fan.

Returning home from a business trip overseas I was stranded overnight in Miami because of airline issues. I was able to book and be picked up by the hotel in about 7 minutes. Which was great because I value my sleep. I'm not a huge fan of Miami but the hotel staff, ambiance and ease of doing business with them completely took my mind off of where I was. Best Western consistently competes with and often times performs better than some luxury hotel brands in major cities.

Clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations coupled with friendly, knowledgeable staff makes for a wonderful start to any vacation. Breakfast is always a treat too, a variety of pastries, eggs, bacon, fruit and oatmeal.

Traveled to Miami for cruise. The hotel was very close to the airport. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We were not too far from the cruise port. Parking for our car during the cruise was available. Hotel not very far from port.

Beyond our expectations. Great front desk customer service by Diana. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It even included a mini fridge and microwave. The breakfast was full of variety and freshness.

Stayed here for 7 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and breakfast is good. Microwave wasn't working in my room and they replaced it immediately. Comfortable bed. Free coffee 24/7 in lobby. Overall very nice stay.

Great customer service especially during our complementary breakfast , Natalia was very nice and helpful. All the staff was friendly. The bar was nice and the staff there was great. Front desk young girl was very professional. We enjoyed out stayed.

This was a great full day and overnight stay. The room was HUGE, with four sets of all sizes of towels, tons of fluffy pillows on the king bed, excellent tv and ac, and a very comfortable bed. The included breakfast was diverse and plentiful. It was a long taxi ride to the beach, but great proximity to airport.

Stayed one night before flying out on vacation. Night of stay is free parking and then $6 per day. Friendly check-in, good advice about eating at the Irish pub which is about 10 mins. walk away. Not luxurious hotel, but comfortable room and bed. AC a bit noisy, but that's the norm. Reasonable breakfast. Clean hotel. Super efficient and helpful shuttle drivers each way to and from airport - need to book night before for trip to airport; shuttle runs every 30 mins. On arrival back at Miami, phone for shuttle pick-up after collecting luggage, wait at departure level and bus was there in less than 10 mins. Would use park, stay and fly option again.

Kanusha was extremely unprofessional and rude when I was checking in. Verbalized “i hate this place”, “nobody does any work here” and bad mouthed management. She was working with Antonio and he did his absolute best to be courteous of the customers. However, Kanusha was rude to him as well. After Antonio, left the area I tried to spark up conversation with Kanusha while she finished checking me in. She was so nasty about a simple conversation of musical taste/genres/artists, as i was going to a hip hop music festival this weekend. Angela however was amazing and so polite!! She helped me figure out the names of the workers that evening so I could write the review for management to see. I've never had an experience like this at this hotel. I've been here for three separate stays and this stay has turned me away just because of one person. She needs to go, she's ruining the quality customer service the rest of your employees give.

We flew into Miami the day before our cruise on an early morning flight. Rented a car and dropped by the hotel. Even though rooms weren't ready, Donna gladly put our luggage in a storage room while we went off and explored Miami. Came back in late afternoon and rooms were ready. Great view of the golf course. Nice and quiet. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Wonderful complimentary breakfast in the morning. Hotel does offer a cruise shuttle for $110 per person, but we opted for an Uber as there was 5 of us. Overall, a very good hotel. Would stay here again given the opportunity.

We stayed two days at the end of March, precruise. The hotel is very clean and the free breakfast is excellent. We selected it because it was less expensive than double tree, and the overall reviews were excellent. They also offered a $10 cruise transfer to the port of Miami. Our main issue is it is isolated, with no restaurants or stores within walking distance of a senior citizen. We did an $8 uber to the Basilico restaurant which was great. In addition, the hotel seems very understaffed, we finally had to ask to have our room made up at 3 PM. That said, we would stay again.

Staff took way too long for check in we had to wait for 4 hours just to be in our room also the management is poor they don't care about any of your issues they just want your money they charge me $50 for towels that had blood on it cause of my surgery well only two had blood but charge me four and couldn't send shoe me proof also the shower wasn't working like that I couldn't even get it to come on hot it took a min to get there and when we came in the room it was a smell we had to go get some spray and I called them once about the toilet the lady's didn't even spray the seat after she fix the issue she just wipe it with the same towel that she use on everything just nasty so we had to get some stuff to fix the toilet and clean it off

This is the cleanest, most comfortable Best West Plus I've ever stayed at! From the hotel staff at check in, to the modern decor in the room, to the cleaning staff at check out. Everyone and everything made my stay as relaxing as possible. Checked in the night of and it was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Got stranded at the Miami airport on a Sunday night and desperately needed to find a place to stay. A friend recommended this hotel and it was a good choice. Nothing fancy, but everything you want and need in a hotel when traveling. Good shuttle service, too!

After a 9 hour flight my wife and I were glad to arrive at this budget airport hotel where the staff,bed and food was great. Comfortable bed left us rested and the very nice shower left us refressed for our onward journey.

This hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the car rental and airport which makes it perfect for an overnight stop after a long flight. The Hotel easy to find and has ample parking. The rooms are spacious if a little dark. Breakfast is nice with a good choice of hot and cold food. A shuttle bus is available to book to the airport and cruise port. The area is a little sparse but there are a few fast food eateries within a 5 Minute drive and aircraft can be seen taking off but once in the hotel the noise is not an issue. Overall a typical chain hotel but it met all our requirements.

An excellent Best Western hotel with breakfast included, an airport shuttle and they provide access to the Miami Port for cruises from a vendor partner for the low price of $10!! It is in walking distance to a number of restaurants as well, good for walking off the food. Staff were very friendly as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay there again when I don't book a car.

My wife and I stayed there for one night after a cruise. Even though I though the price was a bit high it seems that Florida properties are rather expensive in comparison to the past. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a great breakfast included and nice shuttle service to the airport. I would stay there again.

I rate 5 stars for this level of hotel. Immaculate. Service staff are super friendly. Edguardo on the front desk is a super star. Breakfast buffet has healthy choices and even an automatic pancake machine. There's a pub and Cuban sandwich shop within short walking distance. Hotel shuttle from airport is available. Reserve a seat on shuttle to piers for cruises for $10 per person. Or take a taxi. If you need to purchase sunscreen and other incidentals you didn't pack, the closest grocery store is a 3 mile walk. There really isn't anything close by. By the way, rooms are really clean and have a microwave and small fridge.

Stayed at this location after a cruise first impression from outside clean walk in the lobby and personal welcoming even do it was breakfast time and guest leaving to cruise port every thing was organized so didn't feel neglected, because I got to hotel early i was given the option to pay $61 or $67 to checking early but I decided to wait until I could get my room lobby was big with lots of seats so didn't mind. Room was clean and beautiful will go back for longer stay, stayed only one night beautiful and clean hotel.

Excellent personnel, room and amenities. Very nice breakfast provided. Good value and rest of Miami is accessible from here. Great places to eat in the area also. Little bit of Philly had great sandwiches. Excellent shuttle service back to the airport. Less than 15 minutes. Never heard a siren all night and we had a street facing room.

Stayed here pre-cruise. The hotel was very nice. Clean nicely furnished rooms. Front desk very helpful. A shuttle from hotel to docks for $10. Per person although next time I would Uber or taxi. For 4 of us it would have been cheaper and the woman that took us didn't help us with loading or unloading luggage and had an attitude like she was doing us a favor. Also great breakfast in a m. Shuttle from airport to hotel was also great. Will definitely stay there again.

One of the reasons we picked this hotel was b/c it has a self service laundry facility. We had been travelling for a week and wanted to do laundry before carrying on w/ our journey. The hotel is beautiful, close to MIA and backs onto the Miami Springs Golf Course. We had a lovely clean room. Restaurants were w/in walking or short driving distance. We did not notice any particular noise from the airport either. Would definitely recommend.

This Best Western Plus was a surprise. The last time I was in a BW was more that 10 years ago and since then we we switching between Hilton, Marriot or Hyatt. This BW is as good or even better than the ones I had been. The room is big, confortable beds and quiet. The best of all is the price. It was 130 USD, including breakfast and also free airport transfer. The room comes with coffee maker and also microwave and a small fridge. After this stay, I will surely look for my next stay in BW agaib

There were roaches in our room. I killed them and took pictures of them. The front desk was not really wanting to deal with this. Since we prepaid for our stay they were pretty much like “oh well, there is nothing we can do for you.

The hotel felt very comfortable. It was sold out this particular weekend. The bathtub was not very clean there was mold around the edges. We had a shower/ water malfunction and had to call maintenance. Which came immediately. Still had issues because we then ran out of hot water right before leaving. I still do not want to say bad things about the place. It was not on its A game that time. But the plus was breakfast was appropriate for the hotel dynamics. It was decent and filling till lunch on the ship.

This property is a good choice for a pre- post cruise layover. This hotel is close to the Miami airport. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a hot and cold choice. It is a walk to restaurants and a cab ride to shopping. There is a airport shuttle service and it is prompt. They offer a shuttle service to the Miami port but we chose to cab it.

The hotel was booked via booking.com, my husband was dubious about staying at a Best Western, but, when we got there, he really changed his mind. The staff was super helpful, and happy to help. The lobby was inviting and well appointed. The rooms were much larger than we had expected and we had a lovely view of the golf course. The hotel is located in a pretty industrial area, so, it's a little off putting until you actually get inside! It's actually a very quiet hotel.

We only spent one night here and for this short stop it was ok. The room we got had a specific smell that wasn't pleasant. Probably due to the fact that the windows were sealed and could not be opened. The room standard was as usual in a Best Western, although in this specific hotel it could have been a little bit better. Breakfast ok, wifi good, efficient check-out, and good complimentary airport shuttle service. Also it was surprisingly quiet even though the hotel is just opposite the airport. You could here the elevator and vending machines but not the planes.

I pick this place because I expect a certain standArd that comes with the Best Western plus chain, and I was not disappointed. The room was clean and spacious, ample pillows. I loved the rainfall shower. The only drawback was that the room was musty probably due to the humidity in Miami. So we just blasted the fan. Otherwise I would recommend...

Usually stay at a large brand name hotel, but for some reason tried this hotel. Even close to airport, we never heard any noise. The place is very clean and as nice a room as any hotel. Got suttle the next morning to the cruise ship for $10 each. The breakfast was free. This will be my hotel in the future for all my cruises out of the port of Miami.

Stayed here on the Eve of an early morning departure to Ecuador. Antonio checked us in, handled a future reservation issue for us and was professional, efficient and a helluva nice guy! Can't ask for more than that!

This is a good hotel to stay for a day or two pre or post cruise as it is a good price, has nice amenities, free airport shuttle and a good breakfast. We ended up using their recommended shuttle for trips and it really isn't a good deal if you have larger group. Taxis are cheaper by far.

We stayed here one night before our flight back to Belgium. Situated on Fairway Drive, paralel with a busy street to the airport and with view of the runways. As we were early we waited 45 minutes for the Twin room we requested and reception did everything possible to accomodate us rapidly. Room was on the far end of the 3rd floor and was very spacious with 2 big beds and excellent matresses. Although you could see the planes going to the runways, there was hardly any noise inide . Also the airco was efficient and silent. Free wifi and a work-desk were available. Bathroom was also spacious and very clean. Minutes from the hotel you'll find several restaurants. Breakfast next morning was buffet-style with a reasonable choice. Also scrambled eggs and GOOD coffee. An exellent hotel for a short stay if flying in or out of Miami airport which is less than 10 minutes away !

Not a bad hotel, very close to the airport. Room was spacious, but not very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived around dinner time, so they suggested some restaurants nearby. Breakfast as expected, not much choice and reasonable quality.

The Best Western website overview of this hotel states "Our brand new upscale Miami hotel". I don't know when it was brand new but it wasn't recent. Maybe it was just the decor that wasn't to my liking, Brown and Beige. Everything was very clean however. Having said that the hotel served our requirements very well. Close to the airport with a shuttle service which picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the Car Rental places, The next morning. There may be a few other hotels closer to the airport but this one did us just fine at a reasonable price. No restaurant for evening meal but plenty of places in walking distance. Does have a breakfast buffet though.

You always get the best value for the price with Best Western hotels. Clean rooms and great service is their standard! Great location and airport shuttle available. Best Western plus Miami suites was actually one of the nicest one I have stayed.

This location has always been very clean and welcoming! I came and stayed a couple of days. During my stay I also enjoy the breakfast which is also good with plenty to choose from. Nathalie (kitchen manager her name tag said) was very pleasant. She greeted me with a genuine good morning. She checked with me and other guests to make sure everything was to our satisfactory. Her customer service was great! They were out of a hot sauce I like and she offered to have some for me the next morning! I'm never disappointed at this location! Close to good shopping and eats!

Efficient shuttle running every 30 min. Modern hotel rooms but AC is not central so do expect noise from the AC-unit. Breakfast included but very, very crowded even at 9:45. Vending machines on all floors are empty (water for sale in Reception). No restaurant on site but they do hand out a map with the nearest options which are 3-4 blocks away.

The Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel & Suites is a superb, well-priced place to stay for anyone looking for a convenient location with an overnight stay (or more) arriving at or departing from Miami International Airport. It has all that you require for such a stay including complimentary newspaper, airport shuttle, 24-hour coffee, WiFi and (a nice basic) breakfast. Add to that it's internal pool, gym an business centre and it's great friendly and helpful staff and it is a winner. When we arrived there was a mix-up with our booking caused by our booking site but the reception staff and front office manager spent a lot of time solving the problem. This was most appreciated. The room was a nice size with comfortable bedding, good storage and largish bathroom. Effective air-conditioning ensured a nice cool environment. It was closer se to about ten meal options. Three very minor quibbles: a microscopic size soap bar, the typical hotel limited lighting and (again typical) the very weak-batteried remote control (they have a control option involving the use of your mobile phone which I imagine is more effective but, lacking a smartphone, I had to forego this option. Still none of these minor irritants significantly impacted on the quality of our stay.

We were here for just one Night and were really impressed as the People around here were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and cozy, also the breakfast was very delicious. You can also walk around as there is a golf Club Next to the Hotel ;)

BF and I opted to stay here instead of on South Beach for 2 days before our cruise. The price was really, really right. I think it averaged to about $125 a night, which was awesome. The rooms were really clean and spacious. Toiletries are offered in giant squeeze bottles in the shower, which I liked. Despite the fact that I always enjoy taking hotel soaps with me when I travel, I appreciate that they are looking after our environment instead of contributing more little plastic bottles to the world. They offer a shuttle to/from the airport for free. All you have to do is call the front desk when you have arrived on Level 2 Departures. Just tell them which door you're standing in front of and someone will be there within 15-20 minutes. The wait is sometimes faster if they're already in the airport dropping off. The driver was very friendly and gave me a list of restaurants in the area that do delivery. The BF arrived early at around 11:30am, but they were able to get us into a room by the time I had arrived at around 12:00pm. It was really nice to be able to drop off our stuff and freshen up before going out to explore Miami. We used Uber to get around and it usually cost about $10 to get to/from the airport and Downtown and about $20 to get to/from the hotel and Miami Beach. Breakfast is included with your room rate and it's a good enough selection. There are bagels/breads, cereals, pastries, eggs, sausages, pancakes, and yogurts. Orange and apple juice is also included as well as coffee and tea. Coffee, tea, and water is available 24/7. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again when we cruise from Miami.

Staff was very accommodating. Hotel was very clean. Walking distance to restaurants. Has a nice indoor swimming pool, workout room and a guest laundry. We had to leave early for our flight out so would not be there for breakfast, they gave us both a grab & go bag on our way.

Airport pick-up took 25 minutes to arrive but driver courteous and helpful. Room was clean and functional, bed decent. Breakfast is self-service and very budget in terms of quality. Check-out was easy (room was prepaid).

I'll come back again. I have been in many Hotels for bussines and this one was one of my favorite. Thank u to the staff and the people that work there very hard to make us feel at home. I hope you will continue like that.

Dittos to all the other good reviews. Clean, friendly, close to airport and port. Cleanest breakfast bar we have seen. The lady in charge treats it as her own bed and breakfast place, as opposed to other places where they are just hired workers. If you like Italian food, don't miss the Basilico restaurant that is walkable distance.

We were here only one night, prior to boarding a cruise ship. Everything was great. Free shuttle to hotel from airport. Driver gave us info sheet with local restaurants. Variety of restaurants within walking distance - Italian, Thai, subs, Irish Pub, Denny's, IHOP Burger King, McDonalds... Super pleasant young man at check in, very comfortable bed - not too soft but not a rock either. Spacious room with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Fluffy towels in bath and rainfall shower head. Great water pressure. Very clean. Nice breakfast- fried eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, breads, cereal etc. hotel can book a shuttle to the Port of Miami. It was $10 per person when we were there. We used Uber which cost quite a bit less. Will stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable, beds were great, staff was friendly, and this hotel was off the main road so quiet. Lots of free parking, and breakfast had both hot and cold items to choose from. They were able to get us a room early in the day which helped out a lot, and check-out was noon.

I stayed at this hotel for one night pre-cruise. I flew from Los Angeles during the day. My husband took a red eye, and met me at the hotel in the early morning. He slept for about 2 hours, and we were both ready for our vacation. The desk staff is welcoming, the mini suites comfortable and nicely furnished. The proximity to the airport is a big +. The breakfast is not gourmet but fine.Ask for a room with view of the golf course. We didn't know about it and discovered there was a view as we were leaving. Even if you don't plan on spending time there, it's a different feeling as you get ready, to have all that greenery, and privacy.The shuttle takes 10-15 minutes to arrive after you call it. You have to go to the departure level, and call. That is the weak point of the hotel as other hotels seemed to have shuttles running more frequently.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Miami. The room was nice, check in good, breakfast very good with an attendant refilling the food. Their practice of billing both the room charge and the deposit at the time of checking in is what offends me. After calling the hotel two times and being told to contact my credit card company which I did. The credit card company told me if they made the pending charge an actual charge I could dispute the charge. After 30 days of pending it would automatically drop off the system.

Staff was helpful and friendly, shuttle was free and fast, beds were very comfortable and breakfast was decently tasty. Great value for the cost and convenience of a hotel that's so close to the airport.

We arrived by taxi from the cruise terminal. We were hoping to walk to lunch but not much was available in walking distance. The staff was nice, breakfast room crowded and a bit noisy. The bathroom layout was a bit different. One piece of soap about the size of a silver dollar (maybe not as thick) is provided for both the sink and bath. On the shower wall they had dispensers for lotion and soft soap. The toliet paper dispenser is located about 18 inches directly behind your left shoulder. The shower head in the bath is fixed in the ceiling about 8 feet up. Inspite of being able to see the runway from our room the room was very quiet. A pleasent shuttle drive and driver to the airport.

We stayed here overnight for the 2nd time after a transatlantic flight and once again had a great stay. Rooms are clean, spacious and the beds so comfy! Friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.....

Overall a good choice for a layover. I appreciated the airport shuttle, large nice room, free 24/7 hr coffee in the lobby and complementary breakfast. Two points of criticism: The wifi in my room (419) didn't work properly (tested on 3 devices). I had to go to the lobby to work. Also, the hotel has no restaurant, so there is no room service. After a long flight I'm usually too lazy to order delivery from a nearby restaurant. I'd like to just order something through the hotel and pay + tip through the final bill.

Stayed for 1 night between flights Room: Very clean and good size. Large comfortable bed. Very quiet with great air-conditioning. Location: Good for the airport and the hotel does a free shuttle which was easy to use. You can easily get an uber to the beach. Staff: Friendly and polite. Pool: Small but was really nice to relax in. Wifi: Good Breakfast: The food was ok but the seating area was small so it was difficult to find a table.

The hotel and staff were for the most part great. The problem is if you're a business traveler you will not have internet access that's reliable so you will get no work done and if you have meetings in the morning, do not expect to get any breakfast items because they are very rigid about sticking to nothing available till after 6:30. Couple that with the horrendous traffic and congestion in this area and you're better off staying in North Miami which has an outstanding Best Western.

The hotel was your standard hotel. They are not very accommodating. We booked to take advantage of their spa. Arrived too late and had to leave early. Asked whether they could prepare a small breakfast to take away in the morning given we had to leave before the kitchen was open. They gave us a granola bar and a fruit Why don't you ha e a basic breakfast pack that customers can take away. It could be prepared the night before by the kitchen staff? Piece if fruit/ a yougurt/ a croissant and a small juice and granola bar is not difficult to put together??? I wouldn't book this hotel again.

This was indeed my first trip to Miami. I chose this hotel because it offered free parking. I don't want to pay $40 or more daily for my car to sit. You'll use uber mostly anyway to travel here. The staff was friendly but few spoke English well. The rooms were clean and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. I love the fact they have like a million pillows on your bed. Our suite had a refrigerator, microwave and iron. They offer a shuttle service to the nearby airport or train station. I used Uber while here. If you like breakfast of muffins, pork, eggs and cereal you'll love theirs. They have coffee and tea available around the clock. They have a laundry room for 1 load of washing and drying $5, that's not bad at all. I hate taking dirty clothes home. Although, were near the airport it was very quite here. There isn't any restaurants around except Ping House within walking distance like 6 mins, they serve huge portions of food. I enjoyed our half a week stay here. You'll enjoy it as well.

We recently stayed here two nights flying in and out of Miami airport. We had a late night arrival and early morning departure so basically just to sleep. The rooms are really spacious and clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel is located about 15 mins from the airport and they have a free shuttle. I was really impressed that they paid for our taxi fare due to their shuttle not running 24/7 - what an added bonus! The complementary breakfast buffet was very good as well. My only suggestion was they could do with having some diet sugar free soft drinks in their vending machine. Being diabetic there was nothing I was able to drink in the machines so had to walk a couple of blocks to a convenience store. I would definitely stay here again. It was good value and conveniently located to the airport.

Needed a place to stay near the airport and this worked out well. The check in staff member was super helpful and friendly. Room was nice. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets were AMAZING. Room very clean. Breakfast was a typical BW hot and cold offering with some good pastries. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but the property felt safe.

Stayed here for two nights while on business. It is conveniently located not too far from downtown with much cheaper rates. On a weekday morning, it took me only twenty minutes to get to downtown even with moderate traffic. The hotel itself has a great breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised by the low noise levels even though it is next to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

My group and I were traveling to Haiti and had several bags with supplies. I called earlier in the day to prepare the shuttle driver for our arrival and Sara had everything ready for us when we arrived. Arley, our shuttle driver, was kind and gave us excellent service all the way to our room. Antony checked us in and went above and beyond to accommodate some special needs that we had. The room itself was clean and comfortable and I felt we received all that we expected in our amenities. This stay rated an absolute EXCELLENT due to the OUTSTANDING customer service we received. My college age daughter was stranded in Miami by a flight that was delayed, delayed, delayed, and then canceled. American Airlines was absolutely ZERO help in any way whatsoever. It was 24 hours before American could get her on another flight so I started calling hotels trying to find her a room. This location was OVER THE TOP in accommodating and helping get her a room and a shuttle to the hotel. Their helpfulness and friendliness was greatly appreciated after hours of frustration.

While this hotel is fairly new and well maintained, Clean, and staff is helpful there are not many places to eat at without having to walk a couple of blocks to get to some of the restaurants, this could be a problem if the weather is bad (rain), you would almost be forced to take a taxi. they have a somewhat of a breakfast buffet but it will not be open until 0630 A.M. and not a minute before

That surprised me how easy you can have comfort paying little. Most of same category hotels has not got the comfort and great breakfast like this one. I like it the best, besides they have a great friendly and professional staff. Definitely will return! Tks

We stayed at this Best Western Plus Hotel this week. The front staff was friendly and quick with the check in process. The room was clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, and we liked the dispensers for the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. They all smelled wonderful. Breakfast was included and had both hot and cold options as well as fruit. There was even a pancake maker that we had not seen at other hotels. Parking was easily accessible. The building is new and very clean . We would definitely stay there again!

We had an overnight stay in Miami and wanted to be close to the airport. The Best Western Plus North was a great choice. Friendly staff and quick check in and checkout. There is a shuttle to and from the airport. The continental breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Stayed here with the family for 2 nights on a recent vacation in Miami. The hotel is “OK” - especially the rooms. Breakfast is somewhat basic. The indoor pool is more like a sauna. However, service was friendly and cost was reasonable for this time if year. Location- not great.

First things first we hot to the hotel and the staff its beyond Wonderfull we did our check in with Antonio and what a nice receptionist very helpful then we got to the room and mind blowing how clean it was and spacious room our suite have the two queen bed and a couch that convert to a full bed the bathroom clean comfortable and have tons of lotion shampoo and conditioner even body wash so amazing 100% recomended

My friend and I were returning home from Curacao and had an 11 hour layover in Miami. I chose the hotel because it was nice, affordable and near the airport. When we arrived and checked in I realized I hadn't changed my room reservation to a double but Kailey at the front desk was very accomodating and made the change without a problem. We used the hotel shuttle from the airport that night it was quick and Abraham the driver was very nice. The next morning we got the shuttle back and it was again very prompt. In fact, we were running a few mins. behind and missed the 4am shuttle but the 4:30am shuttle was there in no time. The hotel was only about 10 mins from the airport so we were very much at ease about getting to the airport for our departure flight. It was a short stay but a good one!

This was a very pleasant stay. I doubt if there was a better room in Miami for the value. The price was extremely reasonable. Room was clean, spacious and all amenities we needed. Only thing I would have changed was the TV set-up. We weren't able to find a guide so we could see what each station had slated for the evening. We had to get a newspaper for that info. Fortunately, if we got up early enough there was a free USA paper in the lobby so that problem was solved on sight. We found the breakfast to be varied so there should be something for everyone (including several fresh fruit items). It was well prepared and tasty.. I would definitely stay there again.

Booked this hotel through hotels.com, just needed something inexpensive (layover, in transit). What a pleasant surprise. Lovely hotel, modern and clean, great quality bedding and furnishings, had the most comfortable night's sleep prior to an early flight. Full buffet breakfast included: food was varied, fresh and plentiful. All staff friendly and attentive. No onsite evening meal, but plenty of hot food delivery options and there is apparently an Irish pub with good food a short walk from the hotel. The only downside was the 90 mins wait at MIA for the shuttle bus. MIA staff said the bus comes automatically: however, after an hour I asked a helpful MIA dispatcher to call the hotel on my behalf, but no answer. I had been travelling for 26 hours. On eventual arrival, reception explained you have to call to request the shuttle. If only I'd known...

We stayed here just one night nefore we flewn home. Good hotel near the airport. Shuttle bus is free and you can book it anytime to pick you up. OK breakfast. Clean rooms and good staff. Good choice for you that need to stay near the airport.

We needed a hotel near the airport in order to catch a very early flight. This hotel was the perfect place for that. It was attractive, clean, neat, and the service was excellent. We had a wake up call and the shuttle was there right on time.

Flew in the day before our cruise and stayed the night here. All the employees were pleasant and professional. Their shuttle driver that picked us up at the airport was very nice and informed us of all the amenities of the hotel and nearby restaurants. right across the street from MIA, I'd recommend this hotel, great price and a nice place.

Check-In time was quick and easy- no need for thousands of different paperwork and signatures. Clean hotel with really nice rooms. The breakfast however, wasn't my favorite - I wish they added more hot foods personally - but still made it up with delicious fruit beverages and pastries.

I have not stayed at a lot of Best Western's recently, but I have to say this is the best one. We arrived quite early for check-in but they stored our bags, gave us a temp. key to use the pool, computers, and other amenities and made sure we knew where we stood on getting a room. The room was large and spacious. Plenty of room to unpack and repack after our cruise. The pool was great, with a shower and bathroom beside. The breakfast area was nice, though we didn't get to eat breakfast, but they did offer coffee and hot water throughout the rest of the day. The one item that struck both my wife and I was the fact the place was SO clean!! As we have stayed at quite a number of hotels and motels over the years we were struck by how clean this Best Western was. It was also conveniently located near MIA and the Port of Miami for cruise passengers.

Excellent little find and a great place to stay if you want to be near the airport and/or mall! The hotel offers free shuttle buses to the Mall and the Airport every 2 hours which was really convienent! They also offered a massive free breakfast spread with bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, fruit, everything you need! You could also, access free tea and coffee 24/7. There are a variety of restaurants and shops walking distance to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and we really enjoyed using the pool area!

I have stayed in many hotels over my years of traveling the country. The biggest reason i keep going back is the beds. They have to be the most comfortable and theirs always plenty of pillows. Their breakfast if i get up in time ties me over till lunch

We booked this as it is close to the airport and we've had good experience with other Best Western hotels. We stayed two nights and found on day two they had only activated our room keys for one day but that was easily fixed. Other than that the room was big, clean, everything worked and they had lots of towels. Obviously they have a problem with people stealing towels because they listed how much they would charge for any item you stole. When you check in they reserve $100 on your credit card in case you make calls or other charges but they do reverse that 3-4 days later. Is not the first time I've seen this but not many hotels do it so they must have problem customers. There is a good Thai restaurant plus an Irish pub only a short walk away.

Excellent service from this hotel, collection at Miami International by the courtesy bus was prompt, the room was just as expected, nice free breakfast and the courtesy bus dropped us just outside the airport car rental concessions next morning. Exactly what we needed before heading North.

We reserved 3 rooms for one night before our cruise departure. Very friendly staff, very comfortable, clean rooms! Free shuttle from airport to hotel. They also provide shuttle to cruise port (which we did not need as we had personal transportation) Staff gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Versailles, which was awesome Cuban cuisine!

Basically, there were nothing seriously wrong with this hotel, only little annoying things. Let start with the good points. They provide a generous breakfast and even that warring day by day. The hotel is elegant, equipped with all the necessary things. In the bathroom big fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, and body lotion, and of course a hairdryer.Big comfortably furnished rooms with safe, ironing board and iron, fridge, TV, etc. The front desk is accommodating but they forgot to activate our room key for the second day. -1 point. The room and bathroom looked clean, but in the morning, there was a little dirt o the floor. We left before cleaning, and in the evening, when we returned after cleaning the stain still was there. Obviously, the floor wasn't washed up, because I tried with a piece of tissue paper, and it quickly came off. One minus again. So in the end, there were two minuses, but also a lot of plusses as well. Altogether our impression was very positive and happily would use this hotel again.

We stayed overnight, wanting to be close to the airport for a flight the next morning. The decor is quite dated, but staff were helpful, the room was clean, and the breakfast had a good range of options. The free airport shuttle was very useful. One downside was the use of disposable cups for water and coffee everywhere, including in the room - the waste bothers me. We also tried to order room service as we arrived late, but the room service menu is actually from an off-site service, and the order would take 45+ minutes, so we went out for fast food instead. Overall, very convenient for travellers wanting to be near the airport.

The hotel is conveniently located few miles from the airport and their drop off/pick up is what makes all the difference: it is a efficient and convenient service since using this you don't need to take a cab or a uber to/from the accommodation. Besides that, the actual area where the hotel is located has limited dining/leisure options, thys consider staying at the property only if you need to sleep close the airport. Good cleanliness and service all around.

I really enjoyed our three day stay here before our cruise. We will be coming back for three more days after as well. The hotel is modern and clean. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, lots of parking etc. Breakfast is nice and coffee is available almost 24 hours. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. You can only hear the airplanes taking off and landing while outside of the building. I would definitely come back after this trip. Thank you for your hospitality BW! We spent one night here on our way to Cuba. Hotel was very clean, rooms were very nice and quiet. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The breakfeast was typical Best Western fare, nothing special. Really no complaints. They had a nice sized pool and exercise room. The location was close to the airport and they were very responsive in picking us up at the airport. Definitely a reasonably priced hotel for a short stay. I give it 5 stars for its class of facility.

Although we stayed here only one night in order to catch our flight the next morning, we were very pleased with the location and cleanliness of this hotel as well as the friendly staff. Good restaurants nearby; the front desk was eager to supply information and recommendations. Less than a 10 minute drive to the rental car center.

This trip has been filled with lots of first. I remember growing up seeing the commercials for Best Western. I've even passed them on various road trips in my early 20's. But if I'm honest I've never stayed in one until yeaterday. I landed in Miami International Airport after another early start to a long travel day. By the time I arrived I just wanted a clean room with a clean bed. I decided to take the hotel shuttle. After a rather long wait for the shuttle which apparently passed right by me and several calls to the hotel I was on a journey that wasn't going to end well. The hotel was about 2 miles from the airport but it took me 40 minutes to get there when all was said and done. That frustration quickly dissipated once I arrived to the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly amd helpful. The lobby entrance was beautiful and I kmew then I was going to be ok. The room was huge and perfect. A nice big bed and state of the art amenities. A huge shower head which was first on the menu for me. It was just what I needed. Thank you Best Western, I mean BW.

Newer, clean, well maintained property. Close to the airport and cruise port with no airplane noise. Modern overhead drench shower head. Great for a family stay before or after cruise. Excellent hot breakfast.

We added a few days to our vacation after our cruise to visit the Florida "Keys" This hotel was booked as we had a one way car rental to return before an early morning flight home. The location for this is excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good complimentary breakfast. Good shuttle service to and from airport. Our room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall a good experience.

The Staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Rooms were clean and cozy. Breakfast was wonderful. Shuttle from and to the airport was fast and easy. We will definitely stay there in the future.

We stayed overnight here prior to boarding our cruise ship the next day. I'd made the reservations months ago, requesting specific rooms (upper floor, overlooking the golf course). Everything was perfect. Great check-in service, the room was absolutely spotless, the breakfast was delicious (a bit crowded but what do you expect when you're a good hotel?) They even had a $10/ea shuttle to drop us off at the Miami port. The only suggestion I can offer is that when we called from the Miami Airport to request their complimentary shuttle, we needed to go upstairs to the DEPARTURES to catch their shuttle. Wish they'd told me that in advance as I called from the ARRIVALS area.

We stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise out of the Port of Miami. It isn't the most ideal location but we used Uber to get around and found that easy and reasonably priced, especially given the costs of the downtown hotels. Breakfast was included and was a good mix of hot and cold items. I loved that they had a laundry room which we used prior to heading to port. Check in and out was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and although it is not the most scenic walk, we flet safe walking after dark given the high levels of traffic.

We stayed at this hotel on our way and back from our destination on an airline layover. This hotel met our needs perfectly. The picked us up and dropped us back at the airport with no problems at all. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Despite being close to the airport only heard the occasional airplane. The only downfall I would say is that there really aren't a lot of restaurants within walking distance, especially when you get in later at night.

Rooms were large and clean, check in was fast and staff were helpful. Free parking available, hot breakfast available if required. Several restaurants within a mile. Easy access to/from Interstate 95 located 3 miles from Fort Lauderdale airport.

We stayed here the night before our cruise out of the port of Miami. We flew into Ft Lauderdale, rented a car and drive to the hotel. It wasn't too far of a drive. When we arrived, the hotel was easy to find and appeared to be in a decent part of town. We checked in and it was quick and easy. The front desk staff was preoccupied and not overly friendly but not rude either. The lobby was very nice and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable, I want it for home. The bedding was comfortable as well. The air conditioning worked well. The only complaint was a bright blue light from the airport lit up our room all night long. The continental breakfast was typical but good with a variety. They serve on real plates which was nice. I would stay here again the night before our next cruise.

We stayed here for one night and it was exactly what you would expect from a BW. Great staff, clean, modern rooms, plentiful buffet breakfast. Things to know.... - You have to call the hotel for airport pickup. So get to departure level on floor two and call when you know where you are standing. Took about 15 mins for our ride to arrive - We got the shuttle back to car rental center the next day no problem - No restaurant but you can order in pizza, menus in the room - Free tea and coffee 24x7

The hotel is located in Miami Springs, not far from Miami International Airport. In fact, you can see planes landing and taking off from the front of the hotel. To get to the hotel from the airport, just call the number on your hotel reservation and the agent will tell you the approximate wait time plus the directions of where to meet the shuttle. Our shuttle trip worked perfectly. Once at the hotel, our check-in process was fast and professional. Alexis was our front desk clerk and I applaud her for her helpfulness and speed to accommodate us after we had a truing day with our flight. During our stay I noticed her with other patrons and she exhibited the patience of a Saint - all with a lovely smile. The room is very large and very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and there is sitting area, desk and chair, fridge and microwave. The bath is adequate and the rain shower is very nice with good water pressure. Others have said the AC was o]"poor and noisy" but we experienced it working perfectly and noiselessly. We asked for room on the 4th floor at the rear of the hotel overlooking the golf course and this was our oom at the inn for 2 nights. Restaurants: A map of nearby restaurants is available at the front desk and the restaurants are s 10-15 minutes walk There is also a Downstairs Deli (not actually down stairs) - actually 2 - on the same street as the hotel. The deli uses Boers head meats and the sandwiches are quite good. We walked at night with no problems. Cons: No room safe, no place to sit outside, breakfast is not up to par for Plus BW (no fruit for example) and no recycling bins that we could find. Al-in-all our stay was VERY enjoyable with a helpful and pleasant staff and no problems to report. Yes, we will stay here again when Miami

Great place with free shuttle, nice breakfast and CLEAN! CLEAN! Room was spacious, rainfall shower and fairly quiet. We had a room facing the front, try for a back facing room as I believe that overlooks golf course. We had a car.. So free car parking as well. There are not that many food options nearby but if you need a night before a flight or recovering from one, this is a fantastic option! Good price too!

I booked this for an overnight stay prior to flying to Punta Cana. I'm not sure if it was a new property or just "re-done", but the rooms were crisp, clean and showed low mileage as did the rest of the facility. Breakfast was the usual rubber eggs, etc, but edible. No restaurant on-site and I'm not sure if I'd want to walk too far to a restaurant after dark in the neighborhood, but plenty of places who would deliver the basic pizza, Chinese,etc. Clean, refurbished, convenient to the airport. What else do you need?

We stayed at this hotel three times in January. We were flying in and out of Miami so we only stayed one night at a time. We took the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and everything worked wonderfully. We were able to enjoy the breakfast that was served in the lobby area. The representatives at the counter were pleasant and very helpful. I will be staying here again.

We stayed iat the Best Western Plus Miami Airport North the night prior to flying out of Miami. This is a great hotel that looks brand new. Our room was very nice; sleek, clean and quiet with very comfortable beds and a sitting area included. The staff was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was included which meant we didn't have to grab something at the airport. There was a free shuttle that travels very regularly to the airport which is about 10 minutes away. This certainly made getting to the airport a breeze. I would highly recommend it if you are flying out of Miami.

The hotel is very near to the airport (less than 5 minutes drive). Despite that, in my room, I heard no air traffic noises! My room was towards the golf club, which gave me a good view. Free parking, clean room, small fridge and microwave are the options that I would love to go back to this hotel. The only thing that I missed is a helper with the luggage.

Originally I was suppose to fly home the day my cruise disembarked, but AA cancelled the flight and switched me to the next morning. I chose this hotel based on it's proximity to the Miami airport. The room was good size and value for Miami. Clean, comfortable, plenty of hot water. The gal at check in gave us a sheet with places nearby to eat or order take out for delivery. That was thoughtful and a big help. We ordered from Big Tomato (very good food)...only charged us a $2.00 fee to deliver. The uber x fee from airport to hotel was $11.14 and we added a cash tip. In the morning we used the hotel shuttle which runs every 30-minutes. At check in we were able to reserve a time on the shuttle the next morning. If you are looking for a good place near the airport this is great. If you are looking for a place to walk around and sight see with shopping and restaurants this probably is not the hotel for you. Breakfast was good with many options to choose from.

Hotel is not new but rooms are clean and big enough. Even that the Hotel is Close to the Airport you can't hear the noise from there. Breakfast was ok, nothing Special. People are friendly and helpful,

Miss a connecting flight out of Miami due to a Latam 12-hour delay in Santiago Chile. Got in about 9:30 PM had not slept or eaten much in 51 hours Alexa got me into a room and hooked me up at Bryson's Irish Pub. A bed never felt so good!!! The next day Sarah help me set up an Uber account (I live in the country so Uber is not necessary) so I could check out Miami on the layover.

I rented 2 rooms. The rooms were nice and pleasant to stay. Breakfast is great. We used also the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver was very helpful. Every time we be in Miami we will be staying at the same place.

Hotel was nice and clean with friendly staffs and driver, especially the ladies helping out during breakfast. They are efficient and very friendly. Room (mine is a King Bed room) is of very good size. The rain shower was very nice but the shower head isn't detachable. So, with no shower cap provided, you have to have a shampoo when taking a shower. My room was facing the airport, airplane noise was quite noticeable. The fridge and microwave are nice amenities. There's no teabag in my room, so I had to use the tea/coffee station at the breakfast area. That's ok as I wouldn't want coffee smell in my tea if I used the coffee machine in the room. Breakfast area was neat and clean. There's a pancake machine, make your own sandwich and other regular breakfast items like sausages, scrambled egg, yogurt, fruits, bread, bagel...tea, coffee, juice drinks. I'd like to see that the hotel consider offering/using reusable mugs, silverwares instead of only disposable cups and plastic knives and forks etc. Also, there's no recycling bins. Within a 10-15 minutes' walk, there are burger place, convenient stores and other stores that you can get food, wine, soda..., very convenient. I used Uber to get to the Port, which costed about $16. Last time I checked, hotel staff said shuttle to port booked via hotel costs $10 per person. Going to MIA from the Port was about $23 due to high demand (according to Uber).

We were there three nights and everything was fine. One of the desk people was a little confused about the booking but we got it worked out ok. There were only two problems I saw. First of all there is not enough lighting in the room; it has dark walls and only three small lamps. They need more light. The second observation is that breakfast is basically carb and sugar heaven. Even the yogurt (supposed to be healthy) had tons of sugar. There was not one container of plain yogurt. On the first morning I asked for fresh fruit of any kind and they didn't have any. If they cleaned up breakfast by adding some healthy alternatives I would have given five stars (if I coul see to do it in the dark room...LOL).

The hotel is very clean, close to the airport and has a great restaurant area. The rooms are nicely decorated and are larger than standard rooms. The shuttle is a beautiful sprinter van that is very convenient to book to the airport. Highly recommend.

The people on the desk made the stay bearable, but only just. BNo room safe, so they let us use office lockboxes. Dining and map advice? No problem. Staggered checkout? No problem. New batteries for the tv remote control. What they couldn't fix were the poor mattresses, stale carpets, nasty breakfast, sketchy location, overpowering chlorine in the pool area, and poor water pressure in the shower. Oh, and the stray dogs.

Stayed one night with family. Check in was a breeze. Very helpful staff. Everything worked in the room and the beds are very comfortable. Not a lot in the area to choose from to eat, so we ordered a pizza. Only thing that w didn't work was the WiFi. Never could get connected.

Hotel was wonderful. Location was away from noise but close to airport. Easy to catch shuttle to hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was updated, clean, and very comfortable. We are very picky about our hotel stays hoping for clean, modern, and comfortable. This hotel is highly recommended!

After a two week cruise then an early morning flight from Miami the next day, I decided to stay here because of its proximity to the airport. It was a busy spot and when I arrived most guests were just checking out so rooms were not available. I went out for lunch, found a barber for a hair cut and when I returned a couple hours later the front desk clerk was kind enough to let me know that one room had opened up and she assigned it to me. I was impressed with how large the room was--huge! It was exceptionally clean, I did not hear any noise, and slept like a baby. The plus for me was that the laundry room was directly across the hall from my room so I was able to do that and come back to Canada with that one chore already completed. Coffee was free in the lobby and available all day which was a nice touch. There is a shuttle service but upon arrival at the hotel one has to call for it. Because I did not have a travel plan this trip, there was a way to get around this without getting roaming calls and that was to call the 1-800 reservations number, explain my situation and kudos to that agent for letting the hotel know that I was there and to send a shuttle. Be sure to book your return shuttle on check-in if you plan to get back to the airport that way. Miami airport is poorly designed and one practically has to jump out in traffic there to flag the shuttle down. Because I was trying to keep from getting run over and another eye on my luggage I did not even see it pass by but fortunately I looked to my right and caught it before it left. This is not any fault of the hotel but Miami airport itself because I have had to do this anytime I stayed a hotel that had an airport shuttle. The hotel area, though in the daytime, was not horrible to walk around to find food, it would not be one where I would want to go out at night. Hence, I bought my dinner when I was out and placed in the mini-fridge until I was ready to eat it. For overnight airport stays, I would stay here again for sure.

Stayed overnight on December 21, 2017. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff, hot breakfast, clean hotel we will stay again. We choosed this hotel because it is close to the cruise terminals. Highly recommended.

great hotel..great hot breakfast with extended hours. we also asked for extended check out(6 pm) which of course incurs extra charge but it was great as our international flight out wasn't until 10 pm. had to wait a little long for the shuttle, but the driver was good. The room was spotless and the bed really comfortable

This is a really good facility...but the internet in the room on floor 4 is really crappy. I had to go to the lobby to get a good connection. The staff are really helpful and try to assist with any issues guests may have.

Great friendly staff and the room was very nice. Everything was clean and put together. Airport shuttle worked great for me to be at airport at 4:15am. And there was coffee available at that time as well.

Ads and staff at the hotel told us there were a number of restaurants within walking distance. They gave us a map showing restaurants almost right next door. There were no restaurants within walking distance. We walked and walked in the heat and after at least 3 long blocks we could see some in the distance, but would have had to cross two busy highways to get there. Very deceptive practice on the part of the hotel. We ended up buying a sandwich at a gas station. Ugh!

Because it appears close to the airport, we thought it was convenient. But : 1- the area is very congested and it took ages, twice, to have the shuttle drive a few miles, 2- the shuttle itself is not reliable timewise, 3- the reception desk is understaffed (one person at rush hour), and 4- the breakfast area opens at a time you already have to be at the airport.

Our experience in the Best Western Plus Miami Airport North was great as always. Excellent service and accommodation. We were provided with all types of services in a very professional manner. That is all that I have to say.

We only stayed for one night - did not get into hotel till 7.30pm. Check-in was fine and proceeded to room. Tried to turn the TV on after half an hour and it didn't work. Reported to front staff who said he would look at it. Did not come. Went back and they then sent a Technician - he replaced the batteries!! Did not have breakfast as we had an early flight and left at 6am. Was not offered an early breakfast!

The room was reasonably clean, not great. Average bathroom. A/C was very poor and loud. Breakfast appalling, worst I can remember. The neighborhood was badly lit and we felt unsafe. A lack of restaurant was unexpected and unacceptable too.

Expect comfort, cleanliness, & service. Good Breakfast is provided. Do not expect any response to online requests made during the online reservation process. Being this close to the airport expect to hear a few planes overhead.

The room was spacious, very well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was until 11 which was wonderful becuase you could sleep in a little. The breakfast was good (didnt really care much for the pancakes, waffles would have been nicer) but everything else was great.

The staff was fabulous and arranged our taxi to get to the cruise port, and the airport shuttle was very efficient, only to be out sone by the amazing breakfast crew, cleaning and restocking the hot and cold buffet like nobodies business, and great hot protein options are always appreciated! Despite being very busy the hotel was relaxing and quiet and made for a solid night's sleep. Best Western always provided the Best Service.

The Best Western Plus Miami Airport North looks brand new. The rooms are verv very nice. It has a free shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The staff was extremely pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is the usual fare with eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels, pasties juice and coffee. The rooms on the back of the hotel look out over a golf course so the view is lovely and there is no traffic noise. There was a bonus of an outdoor pool with deck chairs that we weren't expecting! The entire hotel was spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the south Florida area.

Within 10 minutes of airport and free shuttle bus service. Clean and comfortable although maybe decor a bit dated but that doesn't mean it's not pleasant and well decorated. Staff were excellent and breakfast good as part of deal. Nothing at all to complain about and would stay again. Sorry just remembered that for me the pillows were far too thick which didn't help my sleep.

This hotel was a convenient stay for us near the airport with shuttle service. It was clean and quiet, backing onto a golf course. Service was good and we used the business office computer to print boarding passes the next day. The breakfast was good, offering hot and cold selections. Better than what you get in most hotels offering this. There were no good options for evening dining in the area within walking distance. We ordered in a pizza which was adequate.

We flew to Miami to connect with a cruise out of Miami. We needed a hotel that provided transportation from the airport and transportation to the port. This hotel provided what we needed including breakfast at a reasonable price. The room was clean. We would use this hotel again.

The hotel itself is clean, rooms are spacious and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The area the hotel is located in, is not the best and is run down, with a jail located a 5 minute drive away. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful except for the male evening manager that I encountered on check in, I believe his name was Oscar. The complimentary cribs that the hotel offers are actually pack'n plays and not something I would use to put my child to sleep in.

I always stay at this Best Western when I come to visit in Miami. The front desk is always welcoming and are willing to help you the best way possible. No matter what room type I book it is always clean and comfortable. The shuttle from Miami Airport didn't take long to pick me up. (Tip: If you use the shuttle bus after retrieving your bags head to the second floor where the departures are at and give them a call to let them know what door number you are in front of so that they can locate you and pick you up). I will be back soon :)

I just stayed for one night at this hotel, due to an earlie connection flight. Its close to the airport. The room wasn't very big but was very confortable and clean. The bathroom was very nice and the bed was great. The staff was nice and helpfull. I'm sure I want to return.

We had 5 rooms and 12 people in our group and check in went very fast and smooth. I did not catch the guys name, but he was working at the desk assisting the young lady with check ins. He was very friendly, smiling and joking with our group. The young gal checking us in was very knowledgeable and friendly also.

The positives: Close to airport, shuttle convenient, breakfast buffet well-stocked typical BW fare. The things needing improvement: Front Desk staff less than enthusiastic about helping travelers. Standard King room on main floor smelled really musty...think it might have been flooded in recent storm??? Tip: Do not accept a main floor room. Came in late and hadn't eaten all day. Had to-go menus from local restaurants...charged about $15 to deliver. Not very nice. Can't really walk anywhere nearby at night. Thank goodness only needed 1 night here...property not quite up to the BW Plus brand standard.

This property was very clean! The lobby was welcoming, staff was pleasant and overall a good property. It is just a few minutes from MIA making it ideal for early flights. Only draw-back was the very poor WIFI. Other than that, great place to stay.

I was very pleased with my stay at Best Western Plus for both trips to the Miami area. I highly recommend this hotel for future visitors. Friendly staff, clean room and overall excellent service. I will definetly stay again.

Arrived at 10:30 for a one night stay and was told it was a $100 incidental charge that would fall off and be put back on my cc the next day. Well, it has been 10 days and has still not been put back on. There was nothing to charge or use that would require this amount. I called Best Western and they of course blame my bank.... on the return through Miami I used another hotel that had ten times the amenities and was charged a $50.00 incidental fee. I do not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here numerous times, for reunions in the area. The hotel has always met our expectations. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The staff on check in and checking out a are friendly and professional.

We used the Best Western as an overnight, pre-flight hotel . It was very VERY convenient in both the proximity & in the ease of entering Miami International parking/departures. I would stay here again.

We stayed here overnight after arriving from the UK and had a very peaceful nights sleep in a comfortable room. We are a family of 6 and easily fitted into one room. Clean rooms and good facilities. Great breakfast included which set us up well for our journey to Orlando. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice rooms, good golf club view from backside rooms. Breakfast included is good and in affordable price. Very near to airport and rental car MIA center. Friendly and professional staff. Has airport shuttle but it did not stop when we were waiting for that. Overall a very good experience and value for money.

Despite its age this place is still going strong !!! You will not be dissapointed if you stay here, they perform all their duties efficiently and you get a decent and comfortable bedroom in a good general setting It is a very good value for the money you pay

we stayed just one night before an early morning flight - the room was very comfortable; great linens, a soft bed, and a fantastic shower. Wow, the shower was really wonderful- just what a weary traveler needs! Also, the airport is close by and you do hear some airplane noise, but nothing that would keep you up at night. They offer free breakfast and a free 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport. The staff was very friendly- the front desk rep and the shuttle driver especially. our flight ended up being cancelled, and they allowed up to check out an hour later than normal at no charge, which was much appreciated. The only issue is Le Jeune Rd, it takes at least 15 mins to reach the airport due to traffic- at peak times more. But at this cost, if you have the time, it's certainly worth it. And there are lots of food options close by- within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here Saturday night after arriving back from a cruise. We were flying home Sunday Morning. We arrived early and they let us store our luggage until they had our room ready. Rooms were spacious, clean. Plenty of Uber cars available to take us to Dolphin mall for some shopping. Free shuttle in the morning to the airport. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was nice and priced right. Staff was very helpful as we got there early so let us store our luggage in a room while we waited for our rooms. Only con would be not much in close restaurants. But lots of Uber cars near.

Nice building, nice peoples, really good service, clean, close to everything i need, quality of food for the breakfast is not to bad but can be better. Without hesitation, i can recommended this place.

Hotel Staff was friendly and professional. The room i stayed in was excellent, large, clean, and great rain head shower/tub. Breakfast was excellent. It was a shame i could not stay longer. The staff accommodated my early check out and tried to help with finding me a hotel in my next location, but everything was booked up. I would stay at another Best Western Plus if it looked just like that one.

Large hotel with modern and well maintained rooms. It is located just minutes from miami airport and mia rental car center (RCC). A good option to stay overnight before or after your trip. The hotel has ample off-street parking as well as free airport shuttle. Our apartment was located in the back where there is a golf course and we didn´t hear airplane noises during our stay.

The staff is very nice and helpful when needed. Have to thank Natalie and Maria for always helping my kids during breakfast and always being so kind and helpful to our family. They made us feel so well taken care of. I loved our king/sofa bed suite - it was spacious and accommodating for a family with small kids. The pool was well kept and fun for the our kids during our breaks from visiting family. I loved the complimentary water and coffee available all day and spacious seating area for dining. The bar looked well stocked and would have been nice to visit if we had a chance. Only two negatives - the half shower door thing isn't a deal breaker but it is kind of strange, water definitely gets on the floor a lot, especially with kids. The 6th door was a bit humid/hot - we had to half the AC pumping constantly. All said, next time we need to visit family again we will be back. Thanks

Recently overnighted here after an international flight into MIA. The surrounding neighborhood is mostly residential apartments, houses, and some industrial. Little bit different look after dark if you are walking to a nearby restaurant. Driving is no problem as there are more choices for restaurants further away. Room was comfortable and clean and we liked the staff both the nighttime crew and the next morning crew. There is a free airport shuttle service. Breakfast was very good I thought as there are many choices but the eggs are the little egg patties. Would stay again.

Great hotel after flight from UK. Room was spotless, staff very friendly and free breakfast- superb. Free car parking and only five minutes from the airport car rental. Several eating places within walking distance.

My 3 friends and I were stuck in Miami on the night of September 16th 2017 after one of our flights got cancelled. We were on our way home from an Irma-ravaged country in the Caribbean, and Miami was just supposed to be a short layover. It was very late, and we needed to find a last-minute place to stay. We bumped into the Best Western Plus shuttle driver at the airport, and he offered to help us call the hotel to see if we could make a last-minute reservation. When we were told the hotel was full (as were many hotels after the passage of Hurricane Irma), the driver offered to at least drive us to nearby hotels so we could try to find something. After 4 different stops (all hotels were full), the driver (I can't remember his name!) brought us back to the Best Western front desk, where a frond desk agent ( I believe his name is Edouardo?) offered to make calls for us and to help us find a place to stay. It was late, we were tired, and we couldn't believe our luck that these strangers were going out of their way to help us, when we clearly couldn't stay at their very full hotel. The front desk agent eventually found us a motel room close by, and the shuttle driver offered to drive us there, free of charge, on his way back to the airport. We were also kindly offered by the staff to come back in the early morning to take their shuttle back to the airport. The four of us were in a tough situation, we'd been traveling for hours, and if it hadn't been for the kind staff at Best Western Plus, we would have had to spend the night in the airport. I didn't actually stay at Best Western Plus that night, but I would not hesitate to recommend this place, or to come back to stay there myself. Thank you !!!!!

We were looking for a comfortable bed in order to decompress from a 10-hour flight from Spain to MIA. Trip Advisor hit the jackpot once again! This little hidden gem just a few minutes north of the airport is above average and definitely so considering the price. The room was attractive, large, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent... best bacon I've had in a long time. And, to top it all off, my husband accidentally left his sport coat in the room and the outstanding staff handled shipping it to us. A five-star experience all around.

Very nice place...newer property. ..breakfast/gym included...shuttle to airport early AM worked well... May require a little effort to find the hotel, even with GPS, notwithstanding its proximity to MIA...

My family (2 children, 1 dog) and colleague's family (8 month old baby, 5 year old child, 2 dogs) didn't even manage to get through the front door to check in with our reservation before the manager rejected us for bringing dogs. We had been given telephone approval and the support of Gov Rick Scott to do so. The manager lied about calling the General Manager when my husband asked to speak to him and then called the police on us when my desperate husband made a fuss. Knowing that we had tiny children and no place to go in the face of a hurricane made no difference to that man. His stupid decision risked lives. Disasters bring out the best and worst in people and it is perfectly obvious where this Best Western manager's instincts lie. Do not expect any humanity from this chain.

We have stayed only one night at the hotel. Hotel is located only few minutes drive from the airport. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. Room reasonable size and clean. Breakfast was quite nice with good selection, however breakfast area was quite small and getting busy.

If we had been able to we would have extended our stay. Everyone on staff was helpful and kind. In the midst of preparing for Hurricane Irma, everyone has done their best to ensure all the hotel patrons are being looked after.

Overal i was please with the cleanliness. I would have liked a more variety of items for breakfast. I was happy with the closeness to the airport. I would have like more equipment in the workout room.

Room was ok. However, while I was having free breakfast, the lady in charge... oh my God, she is exceptional. She was handling the stress of having 20 hungry customers with ease. Although things were going really fast, she speedy replenished everything. An awesome employee!!! Great bbk experience.

We stayed overnight 8/1917 the day before our Cruise and 8/27/17 the day after our Cruise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was filling and offered multiple selections! The pool and fitness areas were very clean and roomy.

Great location for the airport with a very efficient shuttle service to and from. The staff was okay, but just okay. Not the super friendly, smiling people we are use to seeing at Best Western. They just did not quite reach the standard. The $100 "deposit" is also a big minus. As a gold reward holder that is a slap in the face.

We booked at last minute because of a missed connection at the Miami Airport which forced an overnight stay. Front desk staff - very friendly, accommodating. Nice lobby area. Guest rooms were clean, modern decor.

We stayed here because we had to be at airport early the next day. Let me tell you the room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and staff was so nice. We were staying at an expensive beach resort in miami for our vacation and this room was just as nice! Only thing missing was the ocean view...

This hotel was a great price and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The transfer service to the port was very economically priced. It was very close to the airport where we were turning in our rental car and they picked us up and brought us back to the hotel. This was very helpful.

This is a decent hotel located about 10 mins from MIA airport. Free airport shuttle to/from the hotel provided. You must call the hotel to have the shuttle pick you up when you arrive and you must schedule your return trip. There is no room service but daily free continental breakfast is available there are a few restaurants within walking distance like IHOP, Denny's McDonald's & Burger King. I've stayed 3 times in the past year and will stay during my next visit.

I will most definitely visit this property again. The front office, breakfast attendants and housekeeping staff were all so helpful and friendly. My only concern is the location of the property. I look forward to continuing my business with Best Western Plus.

This Best Western Plus was nice. The hotel was clean. It was very busy when we arrived and stayed as it was the night before many cruises left out. The price is decent for the location. The breakfast area is small and was very crowded on the morning we left so we didn't utilize it Just grabbed a yogurt and left). It is easy to get to the airport, port terminals and such.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was 5 to 10 minutes- in the hotel's minibus and check in was a simple and straightforward process. The room had two very comfort queen beds with a lounge area and a pleasant view over fields. The room was very clean and in a good decorative state. All in all a very pleasant experience

While searching for a hotel to spend one night since i arrived in Miami and was leaving early the next day this hotel had really great reviews. There are a lot of good things anout the hotel. As reviews mention the staff y really nice and helpful, the room clean, the pillows good, the towels great. So why did I rate it as a 4... First thing was the airport - hotel transportation. I waited fora while vor the shuttle and finally called the hotel as it turns out, the shuttle does not come unless you specifically request it, you have to called them, which means you need to have a phone or access one The other thing was my flight arrived with a considerable delay. By that time I had missed the last shuttle to the malls and i was good tired to try going far. I was told about a couple of places where I could eat, or get food delivered to my room, I should have ordered in, the places where not fit for eating there. the walk was not unsafe, but nothing to see. If like me you are too tired, my advise is order in.

Returning from Latin America we couldn't make the connecting flights to get home in one day so we spent the night in Miami. We had stayed at a different property on the front end of the trip. The room was plenty big and all the amenities worked just fine. We didn't get a chance to try out the breakfast as we had a really early flight. The property might appear a little dated from the outside but functioned just fine. We would stay here again if flying out of Miami again. Recommended.

Friendly, helpful staff, from the airport shuttle drivers to the front desk. It was our first visit to Miami, in the form of a day-long layover. The reception staff gave us great tips to make the most of our quick visit. I would definitely go back to this hotel if we had another overnight stopover in the area.

This was our first hotel we stayed in on our trip to Florida. After 40 hours of Travel from Australia, the clean room and super comfortable bed were a great welcome. The staff are very accommodating and the breakfast buffet in the morning was really good with ample options. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport or car rental centre which was very helpful considering a taxi or private service will still cost you around $20-$30USD even though your right next to the airport (traffic and airport fee I would guess). Overall a great stay and would highly recommend if you need a hotel near Miami Airport for either a night or a few.

Very nice hotel situated close to the airport. Everything was clean and looked newly renovated. I really liked the style and decoration. Was simple but nice and modern. Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast was good. The ladies in the breakfast area were trying really hard to keep up with everything and were very nice to everyone.

This hotel is so clean and friendly. I would stay here again for sure! From the beginning of our stay to the end it was so nice. this hotel was so clean! We were there for the All Star festivities and everything was super close.

We arrived from Canada as a lay-over for our final destination to Guatemala the following morning. The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was excellent. We only had to wait 5 minutes at the airport. Requiring wheelchair assistance the driver took care of our luggage no problem. The hotel was less than a 10 minute drive and the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean and larger than expected. Excellent choice.

Stayed overnight here on our way home from Key West. Needed to catch AmTrak the next morning. Breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 am so we did not get to experience this. Rooms were very nice. Bathrooms were clean and the shower was excellent! Liked the refillable shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Receptionist recommended several excellent delivery restaurant choices and provided menus for each.

Perfect! So clean and look high end, but the check in staff makes me felt a little not comfortable because she spoke too fast and I was a little afraid to ask her questions. Breakfast quality is not as good as it looks

Very helpful front staff, clean room with amenities as described, excellent breakfast, great shuttle just be sure when you call to tell them which door you are located at and which terminal as airport is huge, not much in the way of dinner when flying in late - yet the front staff helped us find food for the evening. I booked this hotel because I was going on a cruise and wanted to be close to the port of Miami. This hotel offers free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. I was gave a room second floor at the end of the hall. The room was adequate, however it had a musty smell with the air running. Didn't complain because we were leaving in the morning, plus weather at the time was cool and didn't need it. They have a serve yourself a complementary breakfast which was very good. There is a shuttle to the port of Miami that contracts with the hotel. June 10 it was ten dollars per person to the port. That was good because going from the port to the airport by taxi it was a flat rate of twenty-seven dollars.

Everything went smooth. I was able to check in within five minutes of arrival. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It's a nice hotel for the pricing, but nothing lavish or upscale. It was quiet and I didn't see many people, which for me was great. Check out went smooth as well. Good place to stay in if you need a hotel in this area of Miami, pricing is very reasonable.

The Miami Plus was a great experience with the exception of the breakfast. The breakfast was not efficient and was very bland. Not a lot of choices to choose from like many of the othe Best Westerns I have stayed at. The beds were very comfortable and relaxing for an excellent nights sleep. Spa quality as far as the bedding is concerned. Tv was a good size around 65" for awesome tv watching and relaxation like at home. Ere was an opportunity to watch current movies for a nominal fee as well. Great entertainment for family.

Everything was wonderful - the staff, the room, the breakfast, etc. This was our second time staying at this hotel. Both visits were wonderful with absolutely no problems. We will certainly stay here when we visit family again!

The hotel offered a shuttle to and from the airport. The shuttle service started at 4:00 AM which was the time I need a lift to the airport. The staff and shuttle drivers were courteous and knowledgable . I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to overnight in Miami because of flight complications. I was very satisfied with the service a amenities. I will need to go back through Miami in 30 days and am sure that I will stay in the same hotel again.

This hotel is a nice place to stay before a flight. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were of much higher quality than most little hotel pillows these days. Overall, we had a good experience however, after we had turned in for the night, the smoke detector started chirping at us every 10 minutes or so and we had to quickly pack up all our stuff and change rooms in the middle of the night. In the midst of the chaos, I accidentally left my travel folder in the previous room and panicked when I couldn't find it the next day. Thankfully, one of the housekeepers checked the previous room and found it for me. While I love the hotel itself, it was disappointing that the management didn't acknowledge our inconvenience with a discount or an extra amenity of some sort. As for breakfast, there is a continental breakfast but the pancake machine was out of order (it had a sign) so we drove to IHOP just a few blocks away for a great breakfast. This hotel is very clean and comfortable but with the malfunctioning smoke detector and then the broken pancake machine, I question whether the facilities manager is really on the ball.

This was our transit hotel coming back from Grand Cayman, back to the mainland to explore the Keys the next day. We got in late from our flight back from GC and the staff was courteous and efficient, from the shuttle driver to the front desk. The airport shuttle also can take you back to the car rental hub. Room was great, 2 Full with pull out sofa bed. The beds were wonderful, the sofa bed, not so much, but doable. The showers were strong and eco friendly (soap dispensers, etc.). It even had a small indoor pool though we didn't partake. There was also an included breakfast with lots of the basics, plus couple extra pluses like a pancake machine. There was also no safe, which I found odd, as that seems a requirement for hotels catered to transit folks with their passports, etc.

Very nice place to stay when waiting for a cruise. They also coordinate with a local service to transport to the dock. We arrived later in the day and the desk staff recommended a local family run pizza place that delivered. Pizza was very good. The delivery fee was high to my thinking but food eas great

Before I say anything else, the location is definitely more sketch than originally thought. It's not awful, but the hotel is hidden along a not so pretty back street behind a discount pharmacy store. We literally had to slam on the breaks and quickly turn for the side road to the hotel; it seemed to have popped up out of nowhere while driving down the main road next to the airport. The hotel rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Our bathroom was clean and somewhat spacious. We were lucky and got a view facing out of the back of the hotel towards a golf area. The drive to Miami Beach was a bit long with traffic, but still worth it with how much money we saved not staying at a hotel downtown or near the beach. Breakfast was alright with its variety.

Stayed one night after arriving by plane. Nice and quiet room. Unfortunately the airco sometimes sounded like a big truck. Staff at reception was not interested after telling that the airco needed maintenance, Breakfast was not bad. Close by airport but quiet.

Picked hotel because of location. Arrived in Miami after a long overseas flight late at night so wanted a hotel close to MIA. Location was perfect. 10 minutes after car pickup. Check-in was quick and easy and the room was very comfortable. Had a very comfortable night's rest.Breakfast next morning was very good.

Stayed overnight between flights. The shuttle was efficient. Hotel and rooms were nicer than we expected from a Best Western. Very comfortable. Area is semi-industrial with few dining options around. We hit a Irish pub a few blocks away which was decent, but we didn't feel particularly safe walking through the neighborhood. If you just need a place to crash between flights, not a bad choice.

We arrived in the late evening into Miami Airport. The hotel shuttle driver, Abraham, was very pleasant. What impressed us the most is that he remained calm under an extremely stressful situation when a huge family with many small children were very rude and demanded transportation to the hotel in front of other hotel guests. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was plentiful and the attendant was on top of keeping everything well supplied. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

The staff was extremely rude,there was an odor in my room,there were bugs in my room,I had a blood stained comforter.....and was only offered $100 off I would NOT recommend this property or any best western property for that matter

We had an early morning flight so we only stayed for one night. No complaints...shuttle driver and hotel staff were very nice, room was very clean with comfy bed!! Not a whole lot around, but my husband and I did walk to the Thai restaurant (we would highly recommend) which was a short walk and there's a convenient store next to it. We would stay here again :)

This hotel is very nice, well maintained and clean. Rooms are updated and modern. Nice location with shops and dinning near by. Price was reasonable. Bed was comfy. Bath towels were ruff could go with softer ones. Otherwise great place to stay.

The hotel is what you expect from BW. Good mattress, pillows, showers. The room was nicely decorated, larger than expected with a sofa, chair fridge and free wifi. The breakfast buffet didn't have a lot of choice but was adequate. There is an airport shuttle available on call. When we phoned, we were told to go to the arrivals area and call back with the door number. We arrived at night and my first impression was that this was not a good neighborhood. I later learned that it borders on a bad district but there is a police station on that street that keeps it a safe area to be in. The hotel has no restaurant but offers pizza delivery etc from local restaurants. We decided to walk to the closest eatery, an ‘Irish' pub called Bryson's. It is about a 3-block walk. There was a big selection of pub food, prices were good, food ok. Cruisers register at the front desk for one of two shuttle times to the pier. It is $10 per person. There was a lot of confusion because more people showed up for the shuttle than there were seats. We chose to wait for the second shuttle. Before long an Uber driver dropping off at the hotel offered us a ride. His price was $15 for the 2 of us. I have never used Uber before but am a convert now. He took us in comfort to the ship for less than the shuttle costs. In summary, I would stay here again if the price is right but would consider other options too.

Hotel was near the airport, so it was easy to return the rental . there was a shuttle to cruise terminal from car return.the room was neat and clean. staff were friendly and helpful.Decent free breakfast, and pool was clean.

Wow! What a relief this stay was for us. We booked for Sunday night (Mother's Day) through Expedia, and didn't expect to arrive late Saturday night, tired and traveling with our 2 year old by car for 8 hours, but the person that checked us in (forgive me for not catching his name) accommodated us without hesitation and was very pleasant and welcoming. I'm a native of Miami and Miami gets a bad rap for people being discourteous, but my Gosh, the nicest and sincerest and most genuine people are working at this hotel. We didn't expect much from a hotel breakfast, but we were so pleasantly surprised and glad that we chose to stay and eat breakfast both mornings. They really did a great job, and again, were so nice. Checkout was fast and easy, but we had left our daughter's travel food bag in the refrigerator, and realized it just before we pulled out of the parking lot, so I ran in to plead to let me back up to our room, and the front staff already had it, and was trying to call us. I've stayed in plenty of places that just wouldn't have cared to try to reach us, but I felt that they went above and beyond. It was a stressful trip for us, but believe me when I tell you that the most relieving and relaxing part of the trip was at this hotel. My mom lives in the area, and we will definitely be returning and recommending this to our family members and friends. I am concerned,however, for the next stay not being able to top this one. BRAVO, for real, and THANK YOU to everyone that helped us out!!!

Went on a 3 day trip to the Keys which required an overnight stay in Miami before a flight returning home. Best Western was a great place. Rooms was clean, check in a breeze, breakfast the next morning was very good and great coffee 24 hours. Shuttle to the airport every 1/2 hour was nice.

It was a group of 11 of us. Using AAA we got the best rate for 2 rooms/suites (2 queen beds and pull out sofa, microwave, small frig). The rooms were clean and didn't have an odor of any sort. The hotel entrance/lobby was clean and inviting. There was a free shuttle bus to the hotel from MIA Airport. Need to call hotel for instructions and pick up location. About 10-15 minutes from airport and the same to cruise port. There weren't enough towels and wash cloths for the number of people but as soon as we called they immediately brought up. Rooms located right next to elevator. Surprisingly enough there was no excessive noise from other guest. The stay included continental breakfast. The pancake machine wasn't working :( and I don't eat those eggs :(. The sausage was very tasty, bread and danish were fresh. Coffee and tea avail all day. Juice was limited. The eating area was clean and attended at all open times. The hotel store is rip off. This is off the beaten path but there are things within walking distance. If you walk to the right of the hotel, you will find convenience store, liquor store and eating places. Great Italian/Spanish restaurant. Delish! If you walk to the left you will find your normal IHOP, Micky's and some other stuff. "Hellure I'm on vacation...Micky's NOT!" You can take a cab or lyft to the local Walmart (don't even think of walking). The cab was $15 (each way) for 7 of us. There is also a small casino called Magic City which is also assessable via cab (3 of us $15 each way). The hotel offers a shuttle to port for $10 per person. We initially booked but got a better deal from cab guy saving us each $2.50 :)
