The door frame was cracked, the tv remote didn't work, the staff raised their voice and still no contact from Best Western property. I have contacted corporate they claimed to have “escalated” the issue to their property. That has been over two weeks.
The front desk person was sitting on a stool in a back room when I arrived and did not stand to greet me or smile during our whole interaction. Take your business elsewhere, and stay away from this Best Western. I highly recommend the Sure Stay Plus Hotel just on the opposite side of the Mall.
Pet price on Booking web page was not honored. Floor in room were terribly dirty. Tried to get an adjustment on invoice overcharge but staff was no help at all.
Nice hotel, it's updated & very clean. Hit or miss with friendliness of staff upon check in. I have stayed here multiple times & each time it takes almost a month to get my deposit back. This is truly the only reason why I wouldn't stay here again. Everything else is fine for the price.
I was looking for a hotel in the Superstition Springs area, so this was perfect. More of a motel than hotel, with easy access to Power Road and the freeway, as well as a number of restaurants and shopping. My room was facing away from the main road, so it was very quiet. The room was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff with whom I interacted were pleasant and helpful. There was a variety of breakfast items, although I didn't care for how the scrambled eggs were prepared. Glad that I found this place and would stay again in the future.
The toilet was broken. They splashed feces everywhere while trying to fix it. They refused to change rooms saying they were booked. Then 20 minutes later when I went to the lobby to let them know the toilet was still broken, I heard them selling rooms over the phone, so I called her out on it and she finally begrudgingly moved us. The bathroom floor was still pretty dirty in the new room, as were the walls. We left a day early because it was so dirty and the front desk girl was so unkind. The only good thing was a cute girl named Marissa, but she had to pass everything through Stephanie, who was very unaccomodating. We left a day early even though she said she couldn't refund us for the one day, but it was worth it to move to the Hyatt. Our room cost less there and was so nice and clean. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hyatt Mesa instead. It is clean and the staff is very friendly.
This is my review on google I can't believe Best Western put their name on this joint. We booked direct with this place..in December to spend 10 days during Spring Training. The clerk said they were dog friendly and looked forward to our visit.. When we went to check in we had our Corgi on a leash and the front desk clerk yelled at us to get the dog out of the lobby only service dogs were allowed. The room was supposed to be newly reno..reno was poorly done, but it was depressing facing a McDonald's and Dennys not 20 ft away. Zero green space. We told the clerk we were checking out the next day and she tried to insinuate we would not get the $2077 that was put against our card before we arrived there. Yes it was refunded 4 days later. Thankfully we asked for ground floor. There is no elevator to 2nd floor. Breakfast was gross...there is a reason this hotel offers a coupon for Dennys. Way too many $$$$$$ for a dive. Really rethinking what hotel chain to use for future trips. The online pics and reviews are very deceiving. Rooms1.0Service1.0Location1.0 Nearby activities You get to listen to the MacDonalds drive through from your room. Safety We did not feel safe it is a dive Noteworthy details This is not a hotel. They call it an inn. It is horrible on every detail. Management reply "Dear Joan, Unfortunately unless a dog is ADA then it can come in lobby as other guest with medical condition could have a reaction. A year a go we started renovations to the property according to Best Western Standards. When you notified front desk that you were not staying I was given a phone call and told them to make it one night. I feel for people who want to believe that this isn't according to Best Western Standards. To insinuate that we would not give you a refund when only authorization was done. I feel sorry that you didn't ask to speak to me General Manager as we have guest rave about our breakfast. Unfortunately maybe we were out of your price range but if you would come in the summer the rates are low. As with any hotel the rate is according to season. I wish you all the best on your adventures in life. Sincerely, DEB" What was sent to Best Western Rather ignorant to imply we can't afford their divey joint. BTW we moved to the Best Western in Scottsdale for the next 10 days. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not available until Monday. While I was picking up water, " I overheard the clerk say rudely and loudly to a customer on the phone...we unplugged your toilet this morning. If you had of told us then you need this we could of done it, but now you are stuck until Monday". Our dog has been in and out of six hotel lobbies without a barracuda screaming at us...if you know how to clean and use the correct cleaning supplies it is a non issue. Are you saying other guests will have a reaction to our dog, but not to a "Service dog"? Shake your head. Staff WAS insinuating we would not get our money back. Your breakfast is cold poorly prepared slop. Very limited selection. This is why you offer a discount at Denny's. Re the rave reviews, I am pretty sure they are friends of yours.
Laura provided absolutly excellent service and made us feel very welcomed. She was very friendly, professional, and her demeanor was super. We stayed at the inn on March 6-9, 2024. Our toilet somehow overflowed without us doing anything to cause this to happen early morning, March 7, 2024. Again the service to correct the problem and clean the bathroom was very prompt and excellent. We would stay there again. Gerald B. and Terry Ann.
Check in process was super awesome! Marisse and Cheyenne were super welcoming, helpful and had their stuff together. Room was clean, recently renovated and most important the bed was comfy. Nice hotel, centrally located with lots of shops and the freeway nearby.
Very nice hotel overall. Friendly helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good for a hot continental but they need more room in breakfast area. The hotel is in a good location. A little expensive on the weekend for me but some points helped that.
Supervisor stayed on her personal mobile phone while Marissa juggle between costumers and front desk phone while been yelled at by the person on a private phone call. I think that I shouldn't have to experience an interrupted check in process When there is two people on the same shift .
The room was clean, breakfast was great & the staff was very accommodating.. Laura checked us in & she was Fantastic, gave us names of different restaurants to try that was in the area. I would stay there again
The staff is very professional, informative, and delightful. The room was suprisingly large, loved the two seat desk. Fresh, clean, and spacious. Loved the black out curtain! We also travel with dogs so appreciated the first floor accommodation. The location was right in the mall area so it was nice to have shopping close at hand and restaurants near by.
I was charged for an additional room even though I had booked this directly through Best Western and they show that at their end. The hotel made a mistake and instead of admitting it and rectifying it they have attempted to blame others.
I'm not that picky a person and seldom give a bad review, but of the 12 hotel/motels on our 18 day trip, this one was the worst. The mattress was uncomfortable & my back ached the next morning. The AC unit was noisy. We were told on check in that we could get a 20% discount at the Denny's next door. After our 1st breakfast at the hotel, we know why. The salsa had gone bad (we informed the staff, she tasted it and agreed and dumped it), the orange juice was off color and also tasted so bad, I couldn't drink it, the eggs (I think) were powdered, the sausage was mushy, no muffins, only Cheerios and Chex cereal (Raisin Bran would have been nice) and no microwave. Needless to say, it was Denny's for morning 2. On the plus side, the room was clean, it's a very safe area and there is a nice mall across the street with a movie theater. Two tickets were less than $10! I don't know if that was a special price on Tuesday but a real bargain compared to California and it had lovely, big recliner seats.
Dirty motel and horrible staff. The owner shouldn't be in business. Front desk clerk you need to learn customer service skills. Seeking medical treatment for a rash received from this discussting motel
Excellent hotel - quiet, clean, well furnished rooms and friendly staff. Best Western rarely disappoints, and the one in Mesa AZ was no exception. Very convenient location for shopping, restaurants and scenery, and close to the highway for travel.
Located near shopping and restaurants on major highways. Easy to get to. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Serves a good breakfast every morning. This was our second stay here over the past few years.
The staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay. My family loved the breakfast. We will continue to stay at this location for all of our visits to Arizona. The price fits our needs and the hotel had some great upgrades since our last stay.
Stayed 2 nights. The room was clean. They have updated and got rid of the carpeting - which is very important to me. The breakfast room was clean and stocked and functional. The front desk staff was efficient. Great value hotel.
The Best Western At Superstition Springs uses bait and switch tactics to get your money. Once they have your room reservation, which is non refundable, they won't honor anything they said to get you to book. I booked ahead of time through booking.com. I searched pet-friendly and received "Best Western at Superstition Springs" as a result. After paying the $192.00 for 2 rooms. I went to check in and was told that there is a "$200 deposit" required to stay here. Again this was never mentioned until after the $192 was paid and non-refundable. so after going to the bank to add the "deposit" to my card, upon returning to the hotel I was told that this place has a "NO PET POLICY" of course this is after paying almost $400 for the NON-REFUNDABLE room fee and the "deposit". After some discussion we came to the agreement that my dog is a service dog and allowed to stay. So my main concern now is getting my "deposit" back after checkout tomorrow. I was told that to he $200 is 100% refundable but from previous experience I have come to believe that the Best Western will say anything to get you to buy their product. Lying comes easy for Best Western and I regret stay here and have unnecessary stress about the deposit. MY SUGGESTION IS DO NOT STAY HERE.
I was 9 minutes early to the 3pm check-in time and was let know what a great inconvenience to the staff it was. Then, lectured for 5 minutes on re- confirming a second time of my pet before arriving as they had the option of canceling my reservation if they had over-booked the pet-friendly rooms. I replyed- then cancel me, as I could easily find other accommodations. I had never felt more unwelcome at a hotel before. When checking out, I lodged my dissatisfaction and the staff knew who I was speaking of and gave the impression that this is an ongoing problem.
I stayed at this hotel from June 8th-13th and all I can say is WOW! Everyone was AMAZING! From the time we checked in to the time we left, they went above and beyond the call. The location was perfect close to everything which is good since I was from out of town. But the staff was perfect, Terry in the breakfast area was extremely friendly and she posted the menu for the whole week which was a plus. Then Neil who was in charge of maintenance and making sure the pool area was clean and organized went above and beyond even if was to say a quick hi which made our day. Then there was Laura who worked at the Front Desk, she was extra polite and helpful with every little thing I needed help with and then some. Lastly, Shaanna was great. She helped with restaurants and things to do close by and whatever questions I had. So a big thank you to everyone.
Because of the location I have stayed at this place a few times. Recently, however, they have new management and my last attempt at staying here was just awful. The new manager on duty leaked my information to others, in complete violation of confidentiality policies. When I checked in I simply wanted some assurance that no more shenanigans would happen, like a CYA for myself, and instead she refused to check me in and told me I was trespassing. A complete inconvenience and at further cost to me, and how VERY unprofessional!! I had recorded our exchange & have sent it to corporate, awaiting their response. But please save yourself the headache from having to deal with these awful employees.
I always stay best western but this by far was my worst experience. They didn't changing bedding from the guest prior to our stay. They were remodeling but that's not excuse. This is laziness and inexcusable.
I had to go settle an Estate in Mesa, Pulled up to a Marriott close by, didn't feel right. Pulled up to Best Western, Glad I Did. Stayed 7 nights. Clean, friendly, and I mean everyone. And Safe. Restaurants close by. The breakfast was always good and fresh .
I was in town for the weekend for a conference. We searched for 2 rooms both with handicap access and one with a roll-in shower. This hotel was the best option for us, close to everything we needed. Rooms were quiet and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading out to our conference. Yes, I would stay here again.
I stayed literally for 5 hours overnight and was charged an additional 150$ for a smelly room which I did not leave smellier than I went into it with. There was no questioning about the rooms smell to me. Just a charge sent that I cannot dispute. Very disappointed in this best western. Will not be visiting this dump again east to say . I'd rather spend another 100 dollars on a room down the street, that actually has hospitable rooms that don't over charge you for your stay. When I called and questioned why I was charged they claimed housekeeping “tested” the room. Safe to say 280 at la Quinta inn and suits would have been a much better stay.
The Best Western at Superstition Springs is a great location for those airport overnights that are required for early flights the next day. There are restaurants close by. The rooms are clean, though a bit out-dated. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast provided is outstanding. Do not hesitate to stay here.
This motel was incredibly clean, staff was pleasant and helpful. Wonderful, hot breakfast, quiet room, 5 minute walk to the mall. My first visit to the area. I'm looking forward to returning and definitely will stay here. I am female senior citizen, traveling alone. I felt safe here Call motel direct to make your reservation.
Not what you would expect for a Best Western. Chair in the room was filthy with holes in the arm. Room had a funny smell (they attributed it to COVID sanitizing but did not experience that in any other hotel we stayed in over a 3 week period). Closet had a curtain on it that looked like it was very old. Pictures on line make it look MUSH BETTER than in person. They must of had a good photographer. Just plain run down.
There wasn't anything online stating the workout facility was out of order! Room had a nasty odor! Two body loofas left in a ziplock bag in the bathroom! Very DISAPPOINTED in my stay!!! I will not be staying here again or recommend to anyone else!
There was continuous and constant noise I don't think there was any time there was any quiet between the cars the McDonald's the pressure washers compressing and all of the noise from the other occupants to include a whole bunch of workers that were cooking in their own rooms and using generators and what have you it was absolutely a horrible stay I would not recommend it please find elsewhere accommodations do not go to superstition springs Best Western if you want a luxurious peaceful night especially at 140 to $150 a night like they charge me
From check in to check out, a great place to stay. Very affordable, quiet, clean rooms and grounds, nice breakfast choices, prepped well and hot. Friendly, efficient staff. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Freeway 2 mins away. No extra noise from the mall but we were opposite the Denny's and McDonald's, ask for a west side room. No elevator so ask for a first floor room if that's an issue. Didn't use the pool due to weather but it looked clean and well maintained like everything else.
Our King room was clean with lots of lighting. AC worked well. Bathroom was spotless with good water pressure for shower and toilet, which is separate from the sink. Room had microwave, refrigerator, good internet, lots of TV channels (inc HBO). Staff was friendly and efficient. Convenient location to freeway, gas stations, restaurants and shopping. Room was quiet and safe. Breakfast included eggs, meat, cereals, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Very pleased overall and would stay there again.
Our stay in this motel room was exceptionally good. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Our refrigerator was good and cold. The check in lady was super! We checked in late and she had our room ready for us. It was a great place to stay. Restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay there again.
My husband has always liked Best Western, so we stayed 1 night. The room was clean, very sparse, not enough lighting, had to do some rearranging, our parking was next to a McDonald's but strangely enough wasn't a lot of noise, had a good night.
Front desk service was exceptional, the room was clean, the location was close to everything I needed to be near, and the breakfast was better than expected. They offered hot food, cereal, coffee (& alternative milk), bread(s), muffins, jam, yogurt, waffles, toppings, and oatmeal. The shower water pressure in my room was great, and the internet connection was perfect, as I was working from my room. I would stay here again if I ever needed a room in the area.
Love this place! Everyone was so helpfull and nice. Clean rooms, lots of towels, cable TV that actually works, lots of channels! Very conveniently located next to a shopping Mall and lots of Resturants.
Parking is a little tough.. Breakfast was good.. The folks at the front desk were friendly, the breakfast staff was very polite and helpful. No elevator which was not good, even though they did offer to help me carry my bag up to the room. and that was very nice..
Family medical emergency that required me to find a place close to my family and also close to many restaurants and stores. It's located at the Superstition Mall and it's just off I-60 making this an ideal location.
Excellent location to shopping and eating places. Room was clean, tidy, cool temperature and everything was in working order. Location was quiet yet close to the freeway. Easy to access other communities from here.
I liked the location and convenience of where I needed to go but the room sink would not drain and was not fixed when reported. The noise in the room at night made it difficult if not impossible to get a good night sleep.
Had reserved a room ahead and specified pets. Was told on arrival no cats. The desk agent went ahead and gave us a room based on my insistence that I had called ahead. Was on the 2nd floor. But my dog who was at the pet hospital for life threatening seizures would not be able to go up the stairs. Went in to request a ground floor room and it went completely crazy from there.
Our room had dead bugs everywhere on the tile floor and our toilet was clogged on the last day of our stay. The front desk “made a note of it” on the computer. Never offered to clean or fix anything. When I asked for three washcloths it was like pulling teeth to get them. I would never stay here again.
It is located in a great area but the customer service is horrible. Called and stopped at the lobby for 2 days in a row to ask for towels. Was told they were out and would bring some up as soon as possible. Finally on the 3rd day of asking for towels and letting them know we've been waiting 2 days for towels, they brought some up within 5 mins. Also left tag on door for housekeeping to come in and change bedding and they did not. Called front desk to ask why after 2 days of them not coming in and was told if we needed something to just call. We asked the front desk to have housekeeping stop by our room and they even wrote our room number down… not worth $200/night. We will not stay here again.
I was walked in on by housekeeping 3 separate times the day of checkout. I was asleep in bed undressed 2 of those times. Luckily I had the chain on the door, but waking up to a strangers face looking in through a foot-wide crack in the door was unsettling in the least. I had arranged at the beginning of the week to checkout in the afternoon, and even though the front desk had the info listed, housekeeping was not communicated with. I also received two calls from the front desk asking why I wasn't out of the room yet. I informed each employee that contacted me of my checkout time, and the front desk confirmed that had that time on file from the beginning. Afterwards I alerted the manager of the issue, and was told she would call back with info about what they could do to fix it. I called no less than 12 times(I counted) over the following two weeks trying to check back with them, each time with a promise that I would receive a call back when they had more info from the manager. I received 0 calls from them. The last time I called, I was finally informed that there was nothing they were willing to do to rectify the issue, leading to this negative review. Communication between management and employees was abysmal, and I paid 1500 for a weeks stay with no compensation for trying to kick me out early 5 separate times the day of. Having housekeeping try to walk in while I was undressed multiple times was entirely unacceptable.
If dead bugs on the floor are what you are looking for with half-used toilet paper in your room, then yes, you should stay here. Unfriendly staff with a location that serves crazy people at night yelling, but if you can make it until the morning, across the street is a mall and on the other side is chipotle and target.
Incompetent evening clerk could not find reservation. Waited for Night clerk, who found reservation right away. General Manager lied about how much the reward points she gave me was worth. Carpets were so filthy, that after walking around barefooted for a couple minutes, my feet were black with dirt.
We typically stay at best western hotels for the value and the amenities are usually pretty good for the price, but this hotels pictures showed something much more beautiful than what we received. The rooms are outdated with no USB ports, so you need to bring a block to charge your phone. Our room is in the parking lot of the McDonald's drive-through, so we heard the drive-through speaker the entire time we were in the room. There were no sheets, blankets or pillows available in the room for the pull out bed (we were able to go down to the office and get them, but it would've been nice if they were prepared and in the room already). Room cleanliness was OK, it's definitely outdated and the sink was slow. We were only staying one night so there was no point in bringing up the issues with the sink. Also, part of the reason why we booked this hotel was because of the free Internet in the rooms, but the Internet never worked. The only plus to this hotel is the location. You are within walking distance to just about every major store and shopping venue.
Room was very clean and relaxing! Check in was fast and very informative clerks were very friendly!! It was nice being right in front of a mall and Dennys and McDonald's right behind that made it very convenient. I highly recommended this hotel to friends and family!!
This property is adjacent to the Superstition Springs mall, we have enjoyed the pool and hot tub here before but it was not working this time. They do offer a full breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffles and more, which we do appreciate.
I had to go to the Mesa area for a root canal from Show Low so decided to stay. This was a good choice. I like being able to park right in front of my door. Makes it so easy getting in and out. Worked out nicely.
I am not quite sure how "Tim" at the front desk retained a job with the public I'm surprised he comes out from under the bridge to share his pleasantries. This stay was an absolute nightmare. It didn't kill my choice to stay at this location though. I slaughtered the entire brand name for me. Interpersonal skills are not within the confines of this lair just good ole Timmy calling random guests lashing out and throwing them off the property. Zero ground security either.
put sanitizers in the room at least so we can wipe and sanitize ourselves if you was not going to come in the room to clean at all the whole time I was there. could never find a clean towel off cart for 2 days. at least they could put clean towels in the room every morning. we don't want to use the same towels every day, especially when you are taking a bath everyday. At lease since you are not cleaning room call our room to see if we need anything. At least tell us they don't clean room everyday because of covid. I will never recommend Best Western Superstition Springs to anyone. Also heard loud noise with cars park in lot of hotel just sitting there with loud motor running for 20 minutes.
This location is located near the mall a Denny's and a McDonald's it's a really great location to stay if you would like to shop and just relax by the pool I've stayed at this location many many times and every time has been great!!
We book at this Best Western as it was conveniently located by a property we were purchasing. When I went into the lobby I found it very dirty and they only had one girl on so the wait for everyone was long. Once we got into our room I was not impressed as it was very old and needed updating but we thought for a couple of nights we could handle it. We had a bug issue with our room and just requested a room change. The entire process took over two hours and was only resolved by us getting corporate office involved and they moved us to a different Best Western Hotel Plus on Gilbert. The room rate was the same and a far better kept hotel. They had two girls on at all times and bent over backwards to help us out. Would not recommend anyone stay there
Front desk people look and act totally unprofessional and put forth no effort to make your stay enjoyable. Took me 45 minutes to check in (this was once I got to the desk). Took me 30 minutes to check out. Mistakes on my reservation and bill total check in and check out. Very loud party going on on the second story veranda past 2 am with a refusal by hotel employees to do anything about it except say "You can leave if you don't like it". ????????
Owner refuses to accept cash - even when his policy is in violation of law. Will not return to this hotel in the future. I went round and round with manager to inform her that the hotel's policy was in violation of law - all to no avail.
great service. nice stay for the money. check in was easy. good value the morning staff was friendly and helpful as well. room was clean. room was also quiet. would stay here again. last trip it was favorite part of our stay.
The clerk at the front desk had the best attitude. She was so sweet and accommodating. She even offered to help me carry my bags upstairs because she knew I was exhausted. The room was clean. I had plenty of towels and things that I needed. The area was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Check out was SO quick and easy. My only complaint was no elevator.
Very disappointed. Not what I have ever experienced at a Best Western before. No breakfast room, just poor grab and go bags. First blamed on COVID-19 restrictions, even though all restaurants in the immediate area had no such limits. Later they blamed it on lack of staff. No housekeeping on a 3 day stay. No warning ahead of time of that. Pool was closed for treatment both days I tried to use it it in 105+ weather. Warm water took 5 minutes to reach the shower. never got hot water. carpet in room turned my feet black from dirt. If they don't have sufficient staff to run then hotel, they shouldn't offer the rooms, particularly at full price. Only positive was polite, friendly staff
Very affordable. Rooms were up to date, super clean and air conditioning was great. Internet connection was strong. Front desk well trained. Pool area nice. Property was well maintained. Location convenient to freeway and major retail and restaurants. Overall good experience. Would stay here again.
This place is disgusting, my "non smoking" room smelled like an ash tray, had dog hair all over everything, I was told short on housekeepers no other rooms clean, an entire bottle of febreze couldn't get rid of the smell, woke up to water on the bathroom floor, a hair dryer that didn't work and employees who didn't care. Waited 30 minutes to speak to a manager who was NEVER available. Had to make a second trip to the property to get receipt as incompetent front desk staff said manager had to approve printing. SAVE your money you'd be better off sleeping in your car in the walmart parking lot.
Best Western Superstition Springs Inn Mesa, AZ will not waive its cancellation fees for Force Majeur situations (Acts of God). And cancellation policies are up to the discretion of the individual Best Western location, thus no consistency exists. Either beware before you book or book somewhere else with more customer-friendly policies. Hopefully Best Western can resolve this.
My kid's, myself, and our dog checked in to this hotel around 10:30PM due to a forest fire in our town, and upon arrival to our room, the bathroom floor was NOT clean, visible dirt, and pubic hair was all over the floor. It was nasty! We observed what appeared to be a homeless family in a busted up van parked parallel in 4 parking spots across from our room, and just as we went to sleep, they started said van, letting it run for over 10 minutes, it had no muffler and was so LOUD it sounded like an explosion at 12:30AM! The upstairs guests were literally stomping around all night long, and the best yet was, the guests that decided at 5:35AM to talk SO loudly in front of our door that it woke all of us up. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend nor stay at this location again. Too noisy, and not clean for what you're charged.
We stayed here once before & were in a first floor room across from the MacDonalds drive-thru. Very noisy. When making our most recent reservation, we asked to be put somewhere else. So they put us on the second floor across from the MacDonalds drive -thru. This is how they treat their returning guests. Room was dusty, carpet filthy.
Easy check in and very easy checkout. Room was clean and everything worked well from TV, lights, shower and bathroom, including refrigerator, microwave, and internet. Comfortable beds, ironing board and iron also. A great experience.
This is on par with Motel 6 / Travel lodge ,other than the price is double of those places. Advertised ameniities such as the gym were closed. Breakfast was the unhealthy option sack of crap. One room had an entry door issue that required maintenance, but the front desk gentleman had a another adjacent room ready to go, so he was good at problem resolution. Noisy everything.Noisy in wall climate control, noisy parking lot. Noisy Mall worker leaf blowing the entire mall parking lot from 530AM to 830AM. This hotel is at the far reach of the mall parking lot. Sketchy Neighborhood. You could possibly walk to restaurants or over to the mall without incident... It's a concrete jungle. It's hot and aesthetically not very pleasing, unless you like looking at the mall and fast food places. Until they get up to speed on opening up properly, one will find more attractive properties at the same or lower price points.
They were very helpful getting my parents in to a handicapped modified room, kind to answer all their questions as well. Our rooms were clean and worry free, parking wasn't bad either. Close by restaurants and shopping
This was, as usual for Best Western, a very nice place. It was easy to find, very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I appreciated that they were pet friendly, not many Best Westerns are unfortunately or I would use them all the time.
Room was never cleaned, I was surprised as soon as I opened the door, sheets were on the chair, room was never vacuum, bathroom was never cleaned. They really drop the ball this time. I would not be coming back.
Upon arrival, my wife had to clean a sticky goo off of the table and chair arms. The tub/shower still had used soap on the tray and a used razor on the top of the enclosure. The outside trash recepticles were overflowing and staff only emptied them morning and night. With COVID, the breakfast was not available, so we had to settle for a discount at a nearby Dennys. Maid service for multi day stays was suspended also, so guests had to go to the front desk to resupply. The price of the room did not reflect the reduction in service. I've always liked BW, but I'll be very hesitant to come to this one again.
Check in @8pm No towels ready and still cleaning rooms. When I called to book this room I didn't realize that BW also had Motels, and for $167 a night for a Motel is expensive. 3/5 as I've stayed in worse, 3/5 because I figured they could do a better job. Should be a 2/5 for the ducks being in the pool.
The hotel was clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood appeared safe. It was located next to a very large mall with many restaurants in the area. It was fine for a 1 night stay. It was a little on the high price side. Total came to about $170 with taxes and pet fee ($10).
The staff at this location are extremely professional and excellent at performing their jobs. I enjoyed the hot tub and enjoyed that it was secured at night with a locked gate. We used the laundry facilities and they worked very well.
Dirty, stained towels. Tv that didn't work internet at the McDonald's was stronger than the hotel. An odor permeated from the room that was gross. The staff was extremely nice and did their best to accommodate, but overall a terrible value for the cost.
Honestly there was so much that happened that I tried writing it all down and realized I wrote a novela. To save people time and money just go somewhere else. The front desk girls need a lot more training. All my issues were with them. The room was decent and the price was ok.
Your location Best Western Superstition Springs Inn 1342 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206 Hotel Michael Seidenfeld 65 points 2 hours ago I have to say , the staff at BW Superstition Springs is the Best I've ever seen in my many years of staying at hotels.. One particular girl named Tabitha Ochoa went way above and beyond service. I had to be at the hospital up the street and 5 mins before I was getting picked up they cancelled on me . I mentioned to Tabitha the day before about I wasn't sure about my ride and this girl says to me , I can take you tomorrow is my day off and hands me her phone number. I thanked her thoughly. But the next day when my ride didn't show up , I called her and she told me sure I will be there in 10 mins..and she was. I was having heart surgery and didn't want to miss this appt ! I have to say that she saved the day for me and everything went well . I'm so happy there is still people in this world with a Kind Heart ! Tabitha you deserve Major Kudos from me and Hopefully BW recognizes what you did for a Customer ! This young girl tells me she works 2 jobs and is raising a child. I haven't met such a kind person in so very long , good to know there is people in this world like Tabitha Still !! Thank you kindly and your kindness and professionalism ! I really hope that BW Superstition Springs recognizes this and rewards you to the Fullest !! Thank you Tabitha and the entire staff there for a Great stay and I hope everyone reads this and wants to stay at this hotel. Kindness goes a long way !! Kudos to you'all there !! Sincerely, Michael Seidenfeld.
We've stayed at this hotel every year the past few years. Special shout-out to Trisha this year, who facilitated moving our 4 room reservation to the best western plus Down the road after discovering their pool had a mechanical failure. She was incredibly gracious and accommodating. We had six kids that were very much looking forward to a pool. We will be back next year!
Please upgrade the rooms. The carpet was so old it actually was pulling away from the walls. This will provide a fresh appearance. The bed was very comfortable. I always stay at Best Western when I need to stay away from home
All the staff was amazing especially the head of housekeeping was awesome thank you Shanna for making sure we had everything we need the GM was amazing she made sure everything was perfect for us thank you Debbie.
We checked in and things seemed ok. Next Morning...We asked that Housekeeping bring us more towels and toilet paper and empty trash, which we had by the door, so as to limit contact during CoVid. However...they did not come at all on this day. So next morning I again let the front desk know, in person this time, that we hadn't seen housekeeping yet and we were running low on TP. Front Desk tried to insinuate that I never called them the day before. YES I DID. But then said she'd get someone right over. 5 hours later....still no Housekeeper...so I called again. "Sending someone right over'. 45 Minutes later...Housekeeper shows up. #1 with an attitude #2 with no mask or any PPE on. Which leads me to wonder if she cleans the rooms this way....and how safe was I in staying in this room? My reason for staying there was NOT a leisurely event, but an emergency, because my Air Conditioning Unit had broken. Because of the length of time to repair the unit...I had the option to stay at a hotel again, I opted to stay in broken air conditioning instead. It's a SAD DAY when someone who lives in Arizona chooses to stay without air conditioning in July than risk being exposed to CoVid because the hotel staff doesn't practice safety protocols.
Best Western Superstition Springs Arizona was an Excellent place to stay Great room rates, Friendly staff, Clean and cool comfortable rooms. Staff went out of the way to meet my needs during the stay.
Horrible staff at front desk and the rooms were dirty, the carpet looks like it has never been cleaned. There was an issue with the reservation and there staff made an error. When we arrived the manager did nothing to help us. She said before you check in you have to straighten out the error. What!!!!!! You need to fix it since your staff made the error.
We arrived the weekend prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The staff was amazing during a VERY trying time they did all they could to make our stay safe as well as taking care of all of our needs. We would stay here again anytime
Room was clean and adequate. Location to Mesa airport and surrounding attractions was good. Checked in late around 11 PM and just caught front desk staff as the sign posted in the door said that after 11 PM you have to call a number and possibly wait for someone to come and assist you, this was not noted on the website. Strange hotel layout as we were on the back side of the hotel and you had to walk around the hotel to gain access, no way to walk through the hotel, only around it.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great it was near a Large mall and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores. The beds were clean and comfortable. The lighting needs to be brighter.
My husband was having a chemotherapy treatment done. Manager called to let us know they were moving us to another room. Was asked how soon we could move our belongings. Pleaded with the manager but it fell on deaf ears. Left the chemo and moved our belongings. There are many newer and nicer hotels (especially in this area) The choice is yours. Think about it!!!
We stayed here and the day to day staff were friendly and helpful. Security was a concern and lack of management interaction was not good. Our room was not secured after being cleaned on the 2nd day. When I brought this to the staff member at the front desk (no manager on site) she was concerned and called a manager right away. I left my cell number for the manager to call and it was the morning we checked out (day 6) that I happen to see her at the front desk. I did not receive a call about this very serious matter. 2 managers and no one felt the need to call me. Our room did not have a safe and we could not lock our passports up. This could have made returning home difficult. They gave us $75 off our bill but this really upset me. We travel to the Phoenix area yearly but will not stay at this location again. Too upsetting.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Superstition Springs. Our ground floor room was spacious and clean, our bed was comfortable and the provided breakfast was excellent with lots of options and a hard working lady who kept everything well stocked and tidy. We'd absolutely stay here again.
Visiting family in Mesa, location was excellent, property well maintained. Good area of Mesa. The price was reasonable considering that the Renaissance Festival was going on down the road about 12 miles, spring training is beginning and it is the height of tourism season. Also have the option of bkf next door at Denny's for 20 % off, but they also have the traditional BW breakfast fare.
Our room was situated in the back of the property, so it's the quiet side. We could see the mall n the Cheesecake Factory and we actually walked to the mall one day. There's also a movie theatre within walking distance. There's a Denny's and a McDonalds next to the property as well. Very nice and helpful crew made our stay very pleasant.
Good stay with one exception. After our first night, our beds were not made. We reported this to management and the following day, our beds were made. However, the following day, our beds again were not made. The room was well cleaned each day.
the stay at superstition springs best western was awesome, i recommend for you to stay there for any traveling in the future, the service and the staff was great and the location was very easy to find, right off the freeway and the room was very clean..
Pleasant stay for 4 nights. Very clean. Breakfast was great and the breakfast gal is wonderful. Room service was spotty - room made up very late in the day. I assume this was because of multiple days stay. On day 3 she showed up at 2pm and we were preparing to attend a wedding. We asked her to come back after 3:15. When we returned the room had not been made up at all. Beds are comfy but most pillows are lumpy. Big thing is the hotel is located in a weird spot. McDonalds drive-thru on our side - resulting in constant traffic, garbage pickup daily at 6am always woke us up. We also had to walk around the building on the driveway (uncovered) to get to the lobby and breakfast. The other side is a large mall and an entrance is there resulting in road noise. If you do stay request the mall side.
This is an awesome choice if you have an early morning flight or late night flight out of the Mesa (Phx Gateway Airport). Only a 15 minute drive (airport to Ray to Power Rd - easy)! Very close to many delicious restaurants- we liked Buffalo Wild Wings because football was on. Room was simple, comfortable and clean. All necessities in place. Great price.
Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The check in was great. I called as we were leaving the airport and asked if we could have early check in since the airport was closer to the hotel than I had thought and they said to come on over, so 20 minutes later we were able to get early check in. The person at the desk was quick and efficient and did great getting us checked in. We arrived to a clean room that was well put together and faced the Mall that is next door. This hotel has easy access to everything we had to go to, very central. The breakfast was good, you can make waffles, they have pancakes and they have biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage that were all nicely heated and warmed. They also have cereals, pastries and yogurts as well. Since we had to leave very early in the morning the lady that had checked us in set us up on express check out, so we just had to head out in the morning without having to go to the front desk. All in all everything was great, no complaints and love the location.
Improved rooms since last time, updated, clean, comfortable beds. Furniture could use an update. Better towels or softer. Great location, hotel was right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go. Large Shopping mall across the street and lots of restaurants close by. Highly recommend Barleens & Organ Pipe Pizza.
Untill you see a sign that says "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" stay somewhere else. She it rolls downhill from there. Seems the staff have either joined her team or are afraid to say anything. I would be embarrassed about her attitude also
Do not stay there if you have a pet. They will put you in a room on the noisy side of the hotel....like you are some kind of second class citizen. The road noise is terrible most of the night....and then to top it off you have a 24 hour drive thru McDonald's right outside your door. I will never stay there again.
The room was nice for the price. But the staff was rude. I'm never staying here again. Check in was a nightmare almost just walked out and went somewhere else. I can get a nice room with friendlier service fort cheaper. Next time I'm definitely going somewhere else.
We stayed there during the night before our wedding. We walked into the room with our dogs and the smell of foul urine was overpowering. We reported it immediately, the manager came to our room, acknowledging the odor and sprayed. We were unable to change rooms that night as they had no additional pet friendly rooms. We didnt want the hassel of changing hotels as our entire family stayed there, so 5 rooms booked. They assured us the odor problem would be resolved, it wasn't. Then they wouldn't refund us for the night, they offered us 5000 reward points, but only gave us 3800. Which is like 25% off of a night stay. The gentleman that gave us the points assured us it was 5 nights worth of points. He lied. We stayed at two more best westerns during our honeymoon as we like the hotels of BW, but due to their unwillingness to correct this situation, neither us, nor our family will ever stay in a BW again, and we will warn as many people we can, to stay away. What terrible customer service.
We have visited this facility many times in the past and will continue to do so when in the area. Over the years it has been well maintained, beds are comfortable and rooms have always been clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is one of the best we have encountered.
I booked an express deal through Priceline, and ended up with Best Western Superstition Springs. I checked in a little after 3pm and they were having an issue with clean towels, it went back and forth and I said I'm okay without towels for a while just bring them when they are ready then all of a sudden the rooms all had clean towels according to housekeeping. I was put on the second floor no elevator, no biggie for me but kind of inconvenient in the hot 3pm sun to lug your luggage up two flights of stairs. When I got into my room it smelt like pipe tobacco and there was a white substance all over the curtains and a/c unit. The couch was stained with a white substance as well. I noticed there was a filter with a substance shoved inside the a/c unit as well. Pretty obvious so you know housekeeping sucks. I went down to the front desk and they agreed and changed my room. I felt skeptical because there cleaning obviously isn't good but just got past it. At about 3am I took a shower and it was freezing cold water, I could understand better if it was 8 am but at 3 am no hot water. Freezing, I grab a towel and it was hard and crunchy and after I wiped my face realized it was dirty, there was black stuff, I'm assuming makeup in at least 3 separate areas. I looked at the on switch in the bathroom and it was full of gunk. I took a video. I'm stuck in this rat trap, I sleep on my left side. Next morning I have an eye infection in my left eye. Makes sense, if your not willing to clean the towels why clean the sheets that's a lot more work. Went to get ice at 5:30am and doors are locked, you need to call to be let in. This hotel is for people who want to smoke smoke smoke. I'll never do an express deal through Priceline in fear I would get this nasty place. I would not recommend this dirty place!
The drive was long, dark. My eyes were heavy, 1already after 1a.m. not sure where to stay. Called many hotels on the trip and the B.W. Superstition was the most helpful and the cost was great for amenities
Small 2 story dated property. Our view faced a Denny's and a fast food drive thru. Very busy and noisy. Checked in at 4:30pm to get room keys and returned at 11pm to sleep. Woke up hearing drive thru orders Every garbage can was overflowing attracting lots of flies and bees. Went down to a busy, cramped breakfast area. Impossible to keep clean. Left right after breakfast. Will not return.
The whole staff that I met was extremely courteous, helpful and very professional. Check in was fast and easy. Jonny the evening deal clerk was great, very nice and professional. Clean rooms, complimentary breakfast was great, check out was fast. Great overall experience. Will definitely come back.
Stayed 5 nights solo while shopping and setting up a home we purchased. The hotel is right in the mall parking it and close access to the 202. Definitely a motor type hotel nothing fancy but bed was comfortable and Denny's and Macdonalds are a 2 minute walk. Great location.
The AC rattled all night long. The room needs a deep clean. The toilet was dirty and upholstery on the chairs needs to be clean. Holes in the curtains and scuff marks on the walls need attention. Ice machine in the lobby on the other side of the hotel was inconvenient.
The room was great. The internet worked well and the breakfast was extensive and delish! The location was great for me. The fitness center had no free weights and I didn't use the pool. It looked nice but it was 112 and I didn't want to sit outside. But room was nice and cool!!
Loved the staff especially the breakfast cook Sheila. Quiet and very affordable. Nicely air conditioned especially in 108 degrees. Close to mall, restaurants and Target. Very well kept pool and hot tub.
While I was at breakfast in the lobby area someone with access entered my room and stole my jewelry and also a 2 week supply of medicine for my vacation. I am certain it was a hotel employee. Two saw me leave my room and one directed me to the breakfast room. My suitcases were packed and the items were in an outside pocket. I know the theft occurred during this 20 minute time frame because I had just taken my medicine before I went to breakfast. When I unpacked that evening I discovered the theft. Jewelry was mostly gifts from my deceased spouse and were irreplaceable. Medicines took 3 days to replace.
Easy stay in Mesa. Just off the 60 and near shopping and food, I like staying here when I just need to sleep. The rooms have been updated and renovated since I was here last. I parked right outside my door and that is a huge bonus! Food was good, room spotless. This hotel will always be on my mind when I volunteer out this way.
Over the years I have stayed at a few different motels. If Best Western is available it will always be my first choice. They are the cleanest and friendliest place to stay. The people have gone above and beyond to be of service when needed.
This hotel is well located in Mesa AZ by the Superstition Springs mall, just off Power Road. The room was clean, except for a few items left behind by a previous guest, including prescription glasses and a travel neck pillow. I am not sure how housekeeping misses theses items. The place is showing its age and could use some updating, paint and work in the bathroom. The breakfast that is included is pretty standard for hotels such as this and is ok, but there is a Dennys next door where you can get a good breakfast, relatively speaking. All in all it is not a destination hotel but convenient if you want to be in the area.
We stayed overnight while traveling and while the room was adequate, they were doing construction in the room below us. The noise stopped at around 6:00 pm and started up again at 7:00 am the next morning. While outside walking the dog we noticed a lot of homeless/transients roaming the property, some were yelling into the air. I wouldn't let my daughter walk the dog by herself.
My stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and kind ;got us checked in and checked out in a timely manner. I love that they had more variety in the, complimentary breakfast. The kids enjoyed it very much
This is an excellent Hotel. It's very clean, neat and seems really secure. The staff is great and the Breakfast is more than you could ask for. You have the Mall right there and you have a lot of different shops and restuarants, really close.
Have stayed here many times. East side is next to Mc Donalds, and has traffic all night. next to them is a Denneys. Also 24 hr service. I am a Diamond member, and will never stay in the east side again. Drive 5 miles south to the Airport for a quit room.
the hotel was ideally situat d with. Walking distance to shopping and dining experiences. Great breakfast with hot and cold items. Room was clean and bright. WiFi worked well. Would recommend. Did not use the pool or fitness center but both looked well maintained.
I really like the Best Westerns. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and personable, go out of they way to make you feel welcome. They are this way no matter where I go. I like that they are American operated and always clean.
I have been a Best western member for years and this place was a rat trap. Spring training in town, so they jacked up the rates for a dilapidated, dirty room, with broken chairs, dirty..everything. Bed sheets that were not even changed from the last guests. Disturbing. Plan in advance and avoid this hole in the wall. looks decent on the outside and the lobby, but once you get past the threshold, beware!!
The staff was fantastic, but the room had a weird smell and there was mold in the bathroom. I discovered that for the price I paid for this room we could have stayed at the Arizona Grand hotel. My company has stayed in this property several times over the years and the location is perfect but the quality of the property vs price is way off.
I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was what I wanted and was clean and well maintained. The breakfast offered an array of options from eggs, sausage, waffles to fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal and toast. Overall very pleased and worth every penny.
Very meh hotel, more like a decent motel. Service is nice, rooms are small, good selection of TV channels is a plus. Clean, lots of shopping and restaurants very convenient but place needs significant upgrade if they're charging $125+ a night in season.
This hotel was such a wonderful place to stay while in Mesa. The staff was wonderful and so helpful as to where to go and places to see. The breakfast was terrific way to start every day and the room had the best bed ever.
We needed to get away for one night of leisure and this location served very well. Our room was clean and quiet, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We will stay there again in the future. Recommended!
Staff were out standing location was close to shopping. The rooms were nice but could use some TLCHad to walk around hotel to get to lobby no interior hall to get from one side to the otherStaff did not offer to have me use my points to pay for the roomPrice out side of member pricing would be to high for product
All employees were wonderful! The problem was with the actual room which was supposed to be non smoking and smells extremely Smoky. We also had cockroaches three of them over a two-day stay. Location of this hotel is wonderful but it really needs a refreshing.
Great place has very clean rooms and very nice staff had no problems staying there and I would definitely stay there again and the prices where really affordable and just had a blast staying at the hotel
I did not like the location of this hotel and sekected it because it had a spa which I found was not working due to an ordered part which had not arrived.. The room service help were very good and accommodating,
I was surprised how quiet our room was with the proximity to the mall and restaurants. Beds were super comfortable and it was convenient having fridge and microwave in the room. We ran heater at night and it was quiet and didn't overheat the room. Breakfast buffet had generous selections and food was fresh and hot. Staff was welcoming and always helpful with requests. We were pleased with this hotel, and it was best price in the area!
We booked two rooms online together for a four night trip. When we arrived, we were pretty much knocked over by the smell of smoke when we walked into one of the rooms. I have a daughter with allergies, and there is no way we could stay there. They told us to give them a minute and they would try to clean it. When we walked back in it smelled even worse - smoke mixed with cleaners. They told us there were no more rooms available that night, so half of us had to go stay somewhere else. A room was available the next day that we stayed in for the next three nights. They told us we would not be charged for the night we had to leave. When we went to check out and pay, we found we were being charged more for the room we stayed in 3 nights than we were for the 4 night room. They said that because we had to cancel night one, the four night discount had been removed, plus we were rebooked at the current (much higher) prices rather than the price we had booked online. It took 30 minutes to convince them to alter the price at all, and even then all she would do was to adjust the charges for 1 night (the prices had more than doubled since we booked for that night). We still ended up without the four night discount, paying more for the other nights than we had to rebook, all because they had a smoky and uninhabitable room. I would never go there again.
HVAC unit ran so loud it was difficult to sleep. Room smelled musty. Finish on tub and tub surround were very worn and peeling off! Convenient location for travel to/from Mesa airport. Friendly staff. Affordable price.
The area felt safe and it would be a shopping lover's dream due to being literally in the Superstition Springs Mall's parking lot. Shares parking area with Denny's and McD's. Great area; not just the mall but also close to other various types of stores including furniture stores, used bookstore, western wear, and a Walmart very close by too, it's just on the opposite side of the mall. Didn't use the pool or hot tub so can't comment on that. The room was relatively clean but could use a bit more attention. Tiny bathroom had black hair from previous occupant, both on the floor and on the shower walls. Also there was cut tags on the bathroom floor from when someone staying there previously had cut tags off clothing they had bought. Obviously the maid didn't see it; these things were behind the bathroom door and wouldn't have been seen if the door was open. I only saw it when I shut the door to use the bathroom. Our white socks turned black when walking on the carpet. The carpet was a dark brown color so it was impossible to tell that it was dirty until we looked at our feet. We kept our shoes on as much as possible inside the room after that. This was not the fault of the maids because it appeared it had been vacuumed. I think they need to shampoo the carpets or maybe replace them. Other areas in the room were spotless; bedding and sink areas, fridge and microwave etc. To be fair I didn't notify the staff; they probably would have moved us to another room but we were in town for a wedding and not going to be in the room much; just there to sleep. We just kept our shoes on and shrugged it off. Maybe our room was not one of the remodeled ones. We were in room 120 and assume all the rooms would be the same. At 64 dollars a night, we weren't expecting the Taj Mahal so we didn't complain. The bed was comfortable but not enough blankets; I think all Best Westerns do this now but the bed had just a sheet and one thin blanket. This was easily remedied by calling the front desk who immediately brought another blanket (great service) and then the bed was perfect. We slept well with no complaints. Our room was a King with a pullout couch. We didn't open the couch so can't comment on its sleeping comfort. The highlight for us was the breakfast. Most BW's have a free hot breakfast now and this one did not disappoint. Large selection both mornings we were there and it was exactly the same both days: scrambled eggs, 2 types of sausage (both patty and links), pancakes, make your own waffles, and biscuits and gravy. The gravy actually had sausage meat in it, not just the white goo that other hotels often serve. And of course the usual muffins, toast, english muffins, oatmeal, apples, bananas, this hotel had clementine tangerines too. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 and we overslept on day 2. I hurried to the breakfast room right at 9:30 and the breakfast lady was so nice. She let me load several plates of food and even offered me a makeshift tray/big box lid so that I could carry the loaded plates back to our room so my sleeping husband could still get his breakfast. Thank you to the breakfast lady! Service at the hotel was great. Overall, the value was there. We got a good deal for the amount we spent. This is a value hotel with a good hot breakfast and good staff. Location is very convenient. If they shampoo or replace the carpets, it would be perfect.
My Air Conditioning went out and we needed a place to stay close to home. Upon reading the trip advisor reviews the decision was easy to make Best Western our choice. Jennifer was amazing during check in . Beds are comfortable, room was clean and the breakfast offers lots of options. We will definitely be back.
I'll be making regular trips to Arizona from my home in California and I was looking for a place to stay and make it a regular choice for my 1-2 time a month visits. I chose this place based on price and reviews and I am not disappointed. Room rates are excellent, breakfast is good, and rooms are cozy, comfortable, and decently sized. Front desk staff Dawn at check-in was quite friendly and helpful. Came down later and needed lotion, and Sean was very friendly and helpful, and immediately was able to get me some lotion for my hands which I very much appreciated. As an employee in the Hospitality industry myself (back home in California), I know exactly what to look for when I am traveling, and this place along with its staff members, exceedingly fits the bill.
My stay at Best Western Superstition Springs Inn was amazing. If I come back to Arizona I will for sure stay at a Best Western again. The room was amazing it did not only fill my expectations but went beyond my expectation. The breakfast was great I ate in the area provided was excellent the food was amazing and the area was kept clean. Even though the pool area was clean I feel the pool it self could have been cleaner there was a little dirt on the bottom of the pool. Not sure how often the pool is cleaned but in this area of Arizona it needs to be done at least three times a week. It can be done before or after the pool is opened or closed.
A family emergency brought us here and not knowing how long we would have to stay we opted for VALUE; it was found here. This isn't the fanciest place but our room was CLEAN and we stayed for a week. Our room was right by the pool and not noisy. This room opened up right to the parking lot so if you don't like that, ask for an inside room; I believe they have those, too. There was a really good full breakfast bar every morning. The waitstaff kept it clean, were cheery and friendly. This place fit our needs!
Great experience. Wonderful staff. Home away from home. The master suite is superb. Full kitchen, bath, living room and dining room. The location is prime for dining and shopping, easy access to anything and the freeway. I recommend staying here to anyone. I will be booking another stay soon!
This hotel experience was very good room was very clean, pool was nice nothing fancy but very nice. Great value for the money. Continental breakfast was included with stay and there was also an evening snack of sorts along with two fre cocktails at lounge area. Customer service was excellent, I really do not have anything bad to say about the three nights I stayed there.
The door was hard to open, the bed was not the best, and the refrigerator didn't work. But the staff were very helpful, polite, and did everything they could to make our stay great. The value was great. We would stay here again
Slightly pricey when I stayed, but the staff...ALL the staff...were very pleasant and helpful. Location is killer. So close to anything you might want in terms of food, shopping and services. I will, and am, staying here again.
The hotel is on the older side but it has the basics for all you need. There is nothing fancy about this place but the people are very friendly and they keep the rooms clean. The breakfast is very good and they have a nice choice of things to eat along with juices and fruits. The price is right and was a nice stay
Great Staff - always cheerful and asking if we needed anything! Great location - tons of restaurants and the mall is just across the parking lot! Freeway entrance just a block away, so easy access. We would definitely stay again!
My family wound up staying here twice over spring break, both times for one night each. Both rooms stunk. The first room smelled like weird curry and the bathroom was dirty. I had to rinse short hairs out of the tub and off the floor. The bathroom door was difficult to close and lock. I was a bit disappointed that they no longer offered makeup wipes with the soap and shampoo. The beds were comfortable but the A/C was really loud and the room temperature was hard to control. I don't mind a little noise at night, but we could hear the A/C units going on in the rooms next to us, too. We had a hard time sleeping because of it. I had to wash some clothes, and while I really do appreciate having laundry on site, it needs an update. The machines are old and the room gets uncomfortably hot when they are running. The chair is really not comfortable. I don't expect a plush Laz Z Boy, but my back and butt hurt by the time my clothes were done. We arrived late in the day for the second stay and got stuck with a ground floor room near the pool, with a pop machine and overflowing garbage can directly in front of our window. Again, the room stunk but it was an industrial cleaner smell, as if it really stunk before and they had to do something to clear the air. The room was cleaner and the A/C was much quieter, but we still could not sleep. The curtains did not block out all the light from the Coke machine and there was a lot of noise from the parking lot. We could tell when the bars started to close and everyone headed to Denny's. The garbage can was still not emptied when we checked out and had and even bigger pile surrounding it. Nothing like trying to tiptoe around sticky garbage while carrying suitcases. My husband wanted to stay here this time as it was a familiar place and slightly cheaper than the other hotel, but even he said we should look elsewhere next time.
Great location and staff. Very friendly. Breakfast has nice choices. Very clean parking lot, lobby and rooms. Location is easy access and the 20% off at Dennys was a nice surprise. Will stay here every time we're in Arizona.
Excellent...we would stay there again. Teresa and Sheila were wonderful in the kitchen! We could park right in front of our door, too....the maintenance man was helpful...the pool was clean....it was near the Catholic Church
We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room attendants kept our room neat and tidy. We ate breakfast on our last day and could not complain. Food was hot and breakfast area clean and tidy. No complaints about our stay.
My family stayed 4 nights. the breakfast was the same each morning and I would rate as average, nothing special. Staff was helpful and friendly. Except for the cleanliness of the room, the tub had a ring and the sink was not cleaned daily I would give the hotel a 8 out of 10
We travel weekly to phoenix and decided to try Best Western Superstition Springs, well never stay again. Front desk staff is very pleasant but the rooms need a makeover. I completely forgot to include pictures of the tub but it it looked like it was repaired with cement. The pool was pleasant but police sirens all night not much sleep at all!!
I doubt we'll stay here again. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the location was great BUT the sheets were VERY stiff and itchy, as were the towels. Housekeeping also didn't replace shampoo after our 1st night which was really inconvenient. The staff, however, were very nice and did accommodate any requests we made.
This hotel has great staff and the location is perfect! Always something to do around there. Great restaurants within a mile or closer! The mall across the parking lot make for easy access to get the things you need or for gifts to bring back home!!
We had to go to Mesa my mom was in the hospital they made are stay very easy. We would stay here again if needed. This hotel was clean , quite and we just had to walk across the lot to eat so very convienant
We were in town for a friend's wedding and found this hotel nearby. The room was excellent for the weekend and super clean. Bed was comfortable as well. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Location was close to the Superstition Springs mall which came in hand for last minute things and was close by to a few restaurants and entertainment. Would recommend to a friend!
I chose Best Western because I liked the experience I had in Albuquerque nm. I also like the way it's affordable. My sister bought a room for a night last summer. I really enjoyed the place. I took my family to the phoenPh zoo. We live 3 1/2 hours away from Phoenix and I wanted them to be well rested before we get there. My kids and family enjoyed the stay. Thank you!
Excellent, professional and friendly staff...all doing their jobs very well. The facility is well looked after clean and they offer a great breakfast with a good variety of food. We approx month ahead of time, resulting in very good daily rates. The building shares a parking lot with eateries and across the street from a massive mall, offering a good retail selection. It is however, very quiet, with no street traffic to speak of and strict noise conditions.
Very good location just off Highway 60. Close to plenty of shopping. Several eating places within walking distance. Beds were so-so for comfort. Pillows also so-so. Rooms were clean and staff courteous and helpful. Breakfasts were good and well supplied.
Staff was very helpful with issues I had with tv and was prompt in fixing problem. Room was clean. Great location to several chain restaurants. Only downside was wifi was very unreliable, up and down. And garbage trucks could be heard.
Staff was friendly and quick. The room was very clean and quiet. I have stayed here several times before and will again. The hotel is well located near stores and restaurants. A Dennys and Mac Donalds are in the same location and a quick walk.
A great hotel experience that makes sure the guest is comfortable first and foremost. Had a good time being able to rest up and heal. Breakfast really hit the spot. And the staff were very helpful overall.
Professional, friendly staff. Clean, good size room with all amenities. Good breakfast item selections. Central location. We stayed here while attending various square dance workshops in the area. Very good dining at BJ's Restaurant a short distance south.
Had high expectations for this stay, but hot tub wasn't working, internet slow and unreliable, towels thin and noisy parking lot. One of the desk clerks (in the afternoon) was empathetic and tried to fix things for us, the day clerk seemed not to care.
Due to a death in my family personnel at this hotel were very caring to help us. The room was clean it was very easy to get on line in the room. The spa wasn't working right they got a repairmen out to fix it
Though I have stayed in another more modern hotel in the immediate area, in the past that other option was very expensive. This week the prices were similar but I chose BW nonetheless. This hotel needs updating, but was clean, which is more important to me. The location was convenient to many dining options, and I received a discount to the breakfast option less than a block away. This hotel may be too noisy for some, due to traffic. Though I live on a quiet cul-de-sac myself, I slept like a baby. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom counter was spacious. Outdoor pool was heated and open Thanksgiving weekend, but I didn't use it. There is no interior hall, so the room doors lead you directly outside. Appeared to be pet friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard. Service was friendly.
Nearby Freeway, Gas,food, entertainment, Shopping. Laundry on site, pool & hot tub spa. Beds comfy. Free breakfast & internet. Next to Superstition Springs Mall. 24 hr grocery store. Lot's of restaurants Denny's m MD. Old Town Country Buffet, Red Lobster, Olive garden. Real Mexican food higley/Southern N/W corner Xavier House of Reynoso. Been going there for 17 yrs
They truly do treat you like family. Great location close to the mall and restaurants. Beds are super comfy. Hot breakfast provided each morning appreciated. Prices lower than what we had budgeted...when does that ever happen? Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. My senior family members were satisfied. They loved the handicap shower. I'm sure they will recommend this place again. My mother loved her sleep on the floor. She has a bad back.
Convenient location. Hotel is tired. The personal are very caring. Breakfast appearance was good, scrambled eggs were baked then chopped and it was lacking fruit. Exterior was dirty and the building needed painting.
The hotel is not new, but it has been kept up. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very helpful. However we prefer the West side of the hotel cause it is the quiet side...on the east side you have traffic from a MacDonald and Denny's and it can get a some of the noise. But overall I would give it 4 1/2 stars.
We were looking at houses in this area for our retirement home and found a 'suite' at this Inn. The pictures looked amazing and the price was low (should have been my first clue!) We arrived to find our "suite" was anything but sweet. The pictures online were so deceiving, this room looked nothing like what they had in their pictures. Large front room, good sized kitchen with a dining area. Bedroom and bathroom in back. When we first opened the door, a rather musty, stagnant smell hit us and permanently stayed the entire time. I went out and bought a can of deodorizer and sprayed everything I could, but nothing helped. The kitchen was big, but had little to no amenities, a hodgepodge of forks, spoons, knives, plates and cups. Nothing was new, the oven was the original . We continued through to the bedroom, which was adequate. Now, for the bathroom! Oh my! The sink was a little rusty, but ok, the tub though looked as though someone had tried to scrape the fiberglass off. The bottom of the tub was so severely chipped and torn, that getting into it would have cut our feet. We stayed there for two nights (original plan was for 4 nights) but the smell and the bathroom were enough for us to leave sooner than expected.
My sister & I stayed at this hotel for several nights. Our mother was gravely ill & we were back & forth from the hospital at all hours. It was a very difficult time for us. There was a very pleasant young man working at the front desk. His name was Steven. He was one of the most pleasant, thoughtful, accommodating people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My sister flew back in from Missouri this past week & we booked a room at this hotel & to my pleasant surprise, this same young man was there. He is courteous & accommodating with everyone. Four star treatment from this young man.
The beds were rock hard and my $205 total bill ended up costing me $510 out of my acct. because of the front desk charging me twice and it took 5 days to get the extra charge credited back. I was told by the front desk clerk this happens from time to time and there's nothing they can do about it. It's the system.
the fridge smelled like maggots making anything i put in there smell the same, and the air conditioning unit was old and obnoxiously loud. Construction of room is old and motel-ish compared to other nicer hotels for the same price. I did not report the problems because the rooms were all booked and we had prepaid for two nights.
It's clean, comfortable & convenient. The staff is helpful & friendly. Great breakfast included. It's right across the road from a large shopping mall if you want to go shopping. There are restaurants within walking distance.
The staff were very pleasant during the check in and check out process. The breakfast staff were outstanding. Had no issues at this location. I would recommend this location for your next vacation hotel.
Nothing Superstitious about this excellent choice. Location is great with three freeway off-ramps, Power, Superstition and Sossaman. Lots of support for other services in close proximity. Costco Gas, Fast Food, friendly staff and clean location. Ease of check in and out. Will plan further ahead next time as they are popular. Better choice than others we have stayed in Mesa. Quick access to Sky Harbor.
Picked this hotel because it was close to Gateway airport. Checked in and the front desk person sent us to not 1 but 2 occupied rooms! UGH, especially when we had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs as there wasn't an elevator we were informed of. Rooms clean but somewhat dated. Towels paper-thin. Great location for shopping/ right across from a very large mall and plenty of restaurants.
The staff at this hotel was really great. Everyone I worked with was professional, helpful and friendly. I left my phone charger in the room and the staff helped to return it to me after I checked out. The internet was fast. The TV had lots of channels. The breakfast was fine. Unfortunately my room was very poorly cleaned and smelled really funky.
The rooms have been newly redone. Located on the edge of a large shopping mall complex, multiple dining options within walking distance. Easy drive to Mesa Airport, however, breakfast starts too late to accommodate those with early morning flights (0630). Overall a good value.
We always stay at this Best Western each time we visit Mesa, Arizona. Everyone is friendly & the location is perfect. Huge mall across the street, 2 restaurants right there, and it's just off the freeway. There is even a church of our faith close by. Breakfast is always good, with choices for everyone. The internet worked perfectly. The room was comfortable and cool.
I would really like to thank all the staff at Best western Superstition Springs!!! Thank you Teresa, Jennifer, Steven, Marcel, and all the rest of the staff! You all accommodated my every need. My room was great, breakfast wonderful. The swimming pool is absolutely completely amazing. Thank you maintenance! I love that the hotel is close to shopping dining and getting on the freeway is simple. I will definitely be staying here again when I come to visit my family in Arizona. Thank you all very much. You all are wonderful.
Awesome continental breakfast, close to everything, quiet and comfortable. Well equiped rooms. Staff was Very helpful no matter what the questions were. We will be back and use Best Western Hotels for all of our business trips.
The front desk person could care less in having any conversation with you. The pillows were horrible. The blanket on the bed is very thin. Not enough towels in the room. The breakfast and the breakfast staff was amazing.
Stayed two nights in two different rooms. First room was very hot, smelled bad, and AC was very loud. Second night room was much nicer but AC was still very loud. Staff was outstanding and very helpful.
We didn't get in until 2, but at breakfast Teresa was there and she was super friendly and helpful and was making a lot of great suggestions. She was the best person to start the day with. Great hotel service, and they were okay with us checking out at a later date. Everything was amazing and the room was actually cold, unlike the hotel we tried first that night. It was a great place to stay
The door opens to outside, it was crooked, and you could see daylight through the edges about 1/4 inch on top. Deadbolt would not latch. Bugs helped themselves through the cracks and at one time there were 5 bugs on the inside of the door. I can only imagine they got into the bed too. Creepy. I cut my stay and went to another property.
If you are going to the Mesa area - this hotel is clean, comfortable and very reasonable. The staff here is very accommodating and go out of their way to help. The location is great - right across the road from a beautiful mall, nice free breakfast and Denny's right around the corner if you want to change up.
I come to AZ a few times a year and choose to stay here always. Although it is not the newest hotel, they keep it super clean and treat you great! It's hard to come across sincere friendliness at hotels. Price is more than reasonable. I know what to expect at this hotel and they don't disappoint.
The staff were great. So very helpful & very pleasant. If I am in the area again, This is where I will Stay. I brought my pet with me, so I was able to bring her in. My pet even enjoyed her stay. Lots of resturants & shopping available.
East Mesa may not be a prime vacation destination, but we were visiting family in the area and wanted a place nearby. This location is right at the mall so you do have to deal with mall traffic, but it's also close to lots of amenities. About 45 minutes from central Phoenix and short driving distance to many recreational areas.
Anything we asked for we were given but some things should not have to be asked for, like the same amount of towels left that are taken, plus extra roll if toilet paper. We swam for n the pool and had to skim it ourselves, there were a lot of bugs and leaves from overnight, instead of complaining we just found the skimmer and did it ourselves
The Check-In process was easy. The staff were professional and very nice. The Room was clean and comfortable. I stay at this property often and would recommend it to anyone who was in the area. Plus there's a discount at the Denny's that it's right in the parking lot.
AC worked fantastic. Beds were not bad, had crickets coming our of nowhere all night. The staff didnt seem too concerned about that. The breakfast was not really there, if you know what I mean. People outside all hours of the night, thank god we parked right in front of our hotel room.
We stayed here in June and felt so comfortable that when we returned we chose to stay here again. Everyone was so accommodating. The breakfast attendant was especially friendly and helpful. This will be out first choice when we need to stay again.
The room was very clean and everything was in good condition. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The location is very good. It is next to a McDonald's and to another restaurant which gives a discount to people who are staying in the hotel. It is also next to a large shopping mall. there are many stores and restaurants within easy walking distance.
We Arrived Very Late At Night Due To A Delay In Denver...We Drove To This Property And The Night Desk Person Was Super Friendly...We Had No Reservation...He Understood We Were Tired And He Was Super Fast. The Next Morning We Went Down To Breakfast And Teresa In The Kitchen Was So Friendly I Wanted To Stay There Forever...We Really Really Enjoyed Her...She Kept The Place So Clean And Was So Happy To See Everyone...Like They Were Her Family...She Made Breakfast Very Happy And Cheerful...I Will Come Again And Again - Hope Teresa In The Kitchen Is Always There. She Is Super Fun And Great - Pam & Mark Wagner & My Mom Marilyn Krause - Thanks Pam
This Hotel was easy to get to (close to the freeway) but quiet and very comfortable. We had a regular room but had a sofa/seating area as well as the bed and bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was the best one ever, and included scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy (my personal favorite).
By far one of the best family owned franchises I've stayed at. Christie was an absolute pleasure to meet and is very beautiful. She, along with her staff went out of their way to make my 6 night stay affordable and comfortable. Thank you.
The room was set at 85* when I arrived and it took 6 hours to cool down to a comfortable temp. I know AZ is hot, but the room was miserable. The remote for the TV didn't work. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and the hotel itself was conveniently located. The room was a great price but you get what you pay for,
Great customer service. For the price/location with breakfast for the purpose that were in there for was all a great experience. Except for the carpet ,it wasn't cleaned. Mentioned to the receptionist & hopefully they'll keep that in mind. Try to walk on your feet after the shower,if you got black stain, means they haven't fix that issue.Overall everything is excellent, clean bathroom, clean sheets, staff had great attitude.
The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was quiet and comfortable. I was glad to make this hotel choice. The breakfast was tasty with a good range of choices. I would be happy to stay here again.
We are senior citizens who drove to eastern New Mexico to see our grandchildren. We needed a place to stay overnight between Los Angeles and our destination. After an eight hour drive, we arrived at this excellent hotel. Every aspect of the place was first rate. It was immaculately clean, close to the interstate and within walking distance of several great restaurants. The beds and pillows were just firm enough for a restful sleep. We needed extra tissues and they were provided quickly by the concierge, a lovely lady named Teresa. The air-conditioning unit worked well considering it was over 100 degrees outside. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. All of the items were fresh and replenished often. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Found it online. Very happy with the quality for the price. Would definitely stay again. Didn't like the 2 queen room we had booked. They changed us to very nice king room without charging the difference in price.
Hotel worked for us but it wasn't great. Room was clean and beds were comfortable; but they could have used some updating. Breakfast was free and typical for this type of hotel. Room entry was from outside; didn't expect that. Pool and hot tub were fine. Staff was friendly. Really, it was fine for what we needed, a place to sleep after our day-long family events. But it wasn't anything to write home about.
Was ove r tired, night staff made sure I was looked after because could hardly stand up due to health and being overtired. i switched from being a platinum member at holiday inn to BW. Rooms, services and freindly staff at every BW I've visited. Their beds are Awesome!
The location with support amenities adjacent and the quality of the staff made for an excellent decision. We had business in Queen Creek but they have no good places to stay. The trip was worthy of our selection. We will stay again!
We have stayed at this BW many times over the past 20 years. It has been recently updated and is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. The breakfast lady was especially cheerful and took care of every request.
We stayed here three years ago in the Dutchman Suite which was very nice and accommodating, has two rooms both of them well furnished with a full kitchen . But alas the Dutchman sweet no longer available which makes me sad, we stayed in another room this time, (April 2017) it was very nice room, but when we first went in the room there was toilet paper on the floor.
One of the best hotels I have stayed at yet and if you get a chance to stay here , their STAFF is wonderful. The location is close to the 60 Fwy on Power rd., superstition springs Best Western Hotel. Close to Mall lots of place to eat.
This is an older property, but for the area it is an OK place to stay. Just don't expect luxury or newer amenities, like an elevator..... The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was the usual; the breakfast room is small and take aways are frowned upon, so plan accordingly. But you are close to the freeway and a mall is steps away....
Very nice place very good location great bed with lots of shopping nearby. Lotsa eating establishments also. And if you show your room key you get a 20% discount at the Denny's which is located right off the parking lot at the hotel
Although, this hotel was close to a large mall, Denny's and McDonald's, we had no issues with noise. The appearance of the hotel, inside and out was great! Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. There are gas stations, and restaurants closeby, and of course, the Superstitions Springs mall.
The employees I encountered were all nice. Check-in was easy. We had a problem with our tv not working and someone came within a few minutes to fix it. My husband brings me breakfast in bed every so often when we are on vacation, and he said he was told not to bring food into the room. And he said the woman was kind of rude about it. We have been traveling together for almost 20 years and no other hotel has had a problem with it. I don't see why they supply a microwave and mini fridge and then complain when there is food in the room. It isn't like I am a messy eater or fail to throw things away. Speaking of mini fridge, I would advise you to check the coldness before you put things in yours. Ours was at level 6 and froze our craft beer. We decided to throw it all away just in case it started to leak. Other than the floor being completely filthy, everything else looking pretty clean. Other guests were pretty quiet, especially at night. I'm giving this a 2 star rating because we just couldn't sleep here all that well. The pillows were the cheap "half pillow" type that were overfilled and oddly lumpy. It was like sleeping on a sack of cheese curds. Light leaked in from the door frame. The AC/heating unit was loud enough to wake us up every time it went off at night. We turned ours off and the unit in the next room woke us up. I usually don't mind the noise, but this went far beyond white noise The carpeting was so filthy that our socks were ruined. I walked from the bed to the coffee maker in my bare feet 3 times and the bottom of my feet were almost black. I'm pretty sure I ruined the towel after washing them. There is a tacky price list of every item in the room for those with sticky fingers, just like the no-tell motels that charge by the hour, so at least I know exactly how much I will be charged to replace it. Both my daughter and I came home with a case of athlete's foot, and while I can't prove that we got it from here, we didn't feel the need to save our socks in any other hotel during our trip. To top it off, the water pressure in the shower was very weak even after trying to adjust the flow. Even my husband complained about it, and he rarely complains about anything. If everything wasn't already booked due to the basketball tournament, we probably would have tried to move.
The motels along Main St in Mesa have been less than desirable and a bit pricey for what they offer. I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and found it refreshing to not have to deal with a mediocre room. Everything about this establishment was fresh and clean. I was able to relax and catch up on much needed sleep. My service animal was not an issue at all. The breakfast was satisfying with fresh, hot off the griddle waffles, fresh fruit, brewed coffee rather than the instant stuff often provided by other motels in Mesa. The Superstition Springs mall is within walking distance, as are a variety of restaurants. The WiFi signal was strong and consistent. This hotel is a little difficult to find because it's tucked behind a restaurant on Power Rd. It's not right off the 60 either so be sure to Google it before you leave. Wheelchair accessible. Rooms have a microwave, small fridge and coffee makers in each room. Large flat screen TVs with digital cable and several premium channels included at no additional charge. No charge or hassle for service animals either. This hotel is well built so you're not going to hear each other. I wasn't able to hear the ice machine or the stairs during my stay. I would recommend this hotel for your lodging needs when you're in the far East Mesa and East Gilbert areas.
The staff of this hotel go above and beyond to make everything very pleasant for guests. The breakfast staff is a breath of fresh air each morning. The maid service will help with extra towels or whatever you might need. The front desk staff go the extra mile to help with printing boarding passes, express checkout, extra snacks, etc. Everyone is very professional and I would highly recommend it!
Most every thing about this property was very good but the price. However, March is very expensive in Mesa. Enjoyed our stay because staff was so friendly and helpful. housekeeping and the breakfast were both very good. Would stay here again!
Always stay in this location and the staff is always very pleasant and friendly. Obviously most of them have been there a long time. Facility is always clean inside and out. They have several items for breakfast including sausage eggs and gravy.
The room and breakfast were exceptional other than the bed had no comforter and the jacuzzi was cold and not working it was a decent stay and location was perfect. Company paid for business trip so not sure about the price
We stayed at this hotel for almost a week and were very thrilled to have the booking. We traveled by car to and from Arizona so stayed at several hotels but none could compare. The room was neat, clean, and comfortable. The staff was exceptional and truly made us feel welcomed and valued. Location was perfect especially with the food options and mall within walking distance. I traveled a lot when I was working and can remember just a handful of hotels that meet the experience of this one. Definitely on our will return to for future trips. Kudos to staff!
This hotel is not the Ritz but it has been one of our favorite they just did a remodel and it is much better. The staff is excellent very great customer service. I am not a fan of the soap and shampoo on the wall in the shower, but everything else was awesome.
Rode down to Mesa, AZ on motorcycle with a friend and stayed 2 nights at this great motel. The staff were tremendous from the front desk to housekeeping. Was a very enjoyable time and all the staff treated us as if we were the only guests. I would highly recommend and will always stay there when visiting the Phoeniz area!
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and just the right temperature. The breakfast was very good. Every staff member we encountered in our 3 day stay was wonderful!
This was a great place to stay for a couple of nights while we completed some business in Mesa. The staff was exceptional, particularly Stephen, who clearly loves the hospitality business and is completely dictated to customer service. Our TV was dysfunctional when we arrived, but Stephen arrived within minutes and fixed it. Breakfast was as advertised and of good quality given the venue and purpose of the establishment: the "machine" waffles were of particular note and better than usual. Our room was clean and comfortably furnished, including an inviting and cozy chair. Bed was extremely comfortable. WiFi was available and fast. There are good places to eat in the immediate area. At Stephen's recommendation, we ate at "Over the Border", which proved to be excellent food served on a relaxing outside patio where we could also have our dog with us.
The hotel is nice enough. It's clear that it's an older property but well kept. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The thing that stands out about the Superstition Springs Best Western is the staff. Everyone I encountered was cheerful, greeted every customer they saw, and appeared to take pride in their work and their place of business. That made the difference between just a normal hotel stay and an exceptional one. It's also worth mentioning that the location is blocks away from just about any food or shopping you may need. It's a great location.
My mom and I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The room was very clean and beds were comfy. The breakfast was fresh and hot. Quiet. Located near restaurants and shopping.
All the rooms open to the outside. There is no elevator to the second floor so if you're unable to climb stairs and/or carry your possessions, be sure to ask for a first floor room. I stayed on the "mall side" of the hotel and it was pretty quiet. The rooms was average size but clean (except the carpet need steam-cleaned -- my white socks turned medium gray!) All the staff members very courteous and most were helpful.
This was our first overnight trip with our 4YO grandson. We chose this hotel as being a new place for him and close enough to home that we could take him home if necessary. In fact things worked out just fine. :-)
just an overnight stay to go to the airport -- was okay!! showered and slept overnight to catch a flight the next morning. the staff was helpful and efficient and only was there for the night. Did not eat breakfast as we had an early, too early flight
We stay here often , Convenient location , Nothing fancy , But everything we need Anything and everything we needed was close by ! Our yorkies are welcome and greeted by happy smiles , Breakfast is basic free, Denny's is 2 Feet away if needed , Mall ,Pet Smart , Grooming , Shop , Vet ,
The staff was excellent. Made you feel at home and went out of their way to ensure your stay was pleasant. Both the check in service and the breakfast staff were great. Quality of food not that great.
After spending four nights at this hotel, we plan to recommend it to friends that are planning a trip to the area. The hotel is just off the I-60 in Mesa, and easy to find. Our room was well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The is a Denny's restaurant and a McDonalds across the parking lot on the east side, and a big shopping mall just across the street to the west. The only down-side to our visit was the heat/air conditioner unit. It was very noisy. But nearly all hotel rooms have noisy heat/a/c units. The bottom line is: we would stay here again if ever the need should arise.
Pretty standard hotel. Front staff was super helpful and sweet, but there were an abundance of shady looking characters hanging our suspiciously in front of the rooms and partying. This made our stay a bit tense, and we wondered why, as this is an upscale part of town. Stay at your own risk...
It was, primarily, the staff who made our visit so enjoyable, although the room and breakfast were, also, great. The location was convenient to most of the places we wanted to go to with lots of food choices nearby.
We had family from Minnesota, Illinois and Colorado meeting here to surprise my sister for her 50th birthday. The staff was so helpful with making the surprise a success. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean. A+!
We do an annual tubing trip and have been staying at the Best Western Superstition now for 5 years. Location is great, staff is kind and very helpful when needed, rooms are clean and have been recently upgraded....and free breakfast!!!!
Levi, Steven, and Kayla were amazing. They were inviting as we walked in the door. They were extremely helpful and friendly and I will be staying there on my next visit. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Every member of the staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast area kept stocked and clean with hot and cold choices. Rooms in good condition with good amenities. Quick access to Rt. 60. Quiet despite being near a shopping mall. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel! I was very impressed with the staff and the room. The price was in the mid range, but worth every penny. Clean rooms, nice decor, and bathrooms looked like new. They had the right amount of pillows on each bed and they were soft and firm, they never lost their shape and support. I hear breakfast was great but unfortunately I slept through that. The hotel was quite and the staff was very friendly. Location was perfect. Loved this place and would definitely visit again and recommend it to friends and family.
It was comfortable and provided us with a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. Wish there was grass area around the hotel. The service was very good and the breakfast was very good as well. The beds were comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows. Everything was clean and comfortable.
The only issue we had was when checked in that evening and they had a cleaning crew in the main lobby. No other issues with the staff or room. Breakfast was great and very nice set up. The location was walking distance from anything you needed. We were taking my daughter back to college at ASU poly campus. We choose this location due to the new updates. Well worth the stay.
We were looking for a home base to visit friends and take in a few ball games in Phoenix. We were also looking to do some shopping. The mall close by was some nice shopping, the hotel was extremely friendly and was kept up. They were doing some renovations, but went out of their way to make it as unobtrusive as possible. There was a nice small clean pool on the north side of the building which we took in.
Our a/c went out at home, so we called to make sure we could get a room. While talking to Stephen, the front desk clerk, we mentioned why we were needing a room & not only did he make sure that we got the best price, he went to our reserved room & turned on the a/c, so that we could walk into a cool room. Very considerate.
This was our third stay at the Superstition Springs Inn. We come to visit with my son and his family. When we can we have them over to swim in the pool and they really enjoy it. The hotel was doing some remodeling in the lobby and breakfast room but it was going along good and breakfast was a little confusing but good.
We stayed at this hotel based on reviews we were not disappointed. The Check in was fast, Theresa the front desk clerk was friendly and professional. The room was very clean, the bed was great, and the overall experience was very nice. It seems they were in the middle of an upgrade but it was quiet and all the staff were very nice.
Felix, Front Office Manager, was so pleasant and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast was good both mornings we were there. There was a nice variety of choices, the personnel was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was very
My husband and I chose this hotel based on the reviews we read and the hotel certainly lived up to it's great rating! Our room was clean and roomy. The staff, from Theresa, Felix, and Ty at the front desk, to Margie and staff in housekeeping, to Fred in maintenance were friendly and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Location of the hotel was very convenient to restaurants and a mall withing walking distance and the highway is close by. The hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast every morning which is a nice touch. There is a pool, exercise room and a guest laundry. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
I used my Best Western points for a few separate nights here one week. The Motel is right next to Superstition Springs Mall that has every store imaginable. It was right next door to a McDonalds and a Denny's - bonus! Teresa was awesome checking me in late. I had a room on the first floor and was able to park my car right next to my door. I love that. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. I had no issues, it was updated very recently. They are still working on renovating other rooms. The second night I was on the second floor. If there was an elevator, I didn't see it. Same clean, quiet room. Breakfast was great! Waffles (with the Best Western logo), real eggs, pastries, sausage, all the normal stuff. It was hot and delicious. I will stay here again. It is well-situated from the interstate and shopping. Excellent, easy stay.
hotel had good amenities, good location and a fair price, staff was very friendly, good restaurants close by, shopping also close by only thing that good be better was to have a bigger sign on Powers Rd.
Originally book this room with a booking site. Checked Best Western rates directly with Best Western a few days before travel. They offered a better price. The staff was friendly and delightful. The room was very clean! The only draw back maybe for some, is this property sits on the outside area of a large shopping mall. This did not interfere with our stay. It was still quiet. The pool we did not use but we checked it out. Very clean and sparkled. I would definitely stay again!
This hotel is great because of all the friendly, helpful staff with all the really good amenities. This is the second time we have stayed here and we have never been disappointed. Great place great rates wonderful people, we will be back!!
I stay at the Best Western superstition springs on a weekly basis. Great location with clean rooms and great staff that that are personable and pay close attention to your comfort and we'll being. Making check in very easy. I would highly recommend staying here if your every in Mesa Az.
Had a great stay, great service and amenities. They are pet friendly which helped me out alot. Front desk attendant was extremely helpful and kind. She gave my dog dog treats which was a nice little bonus. This hotel is also in a great location.
I absolutely loved my stay at best western superstition springs mesa! First off staff was amazing, my room was really nice and very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, the pool was perfect! Location of this best western is really great, easy to get to freeway. Management and staff were really helpful and took great care of me. I even got to check in early after driving all the way from Colorado Springs, to visit my family. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be staying here again! Thank you Felix and Melissa!
We stay at this hotel because they allow our Yorkies to stay with us ,Thankfully this hotel also provides us with a pleasant stay ! We usually stay up to two weeks and they have everything that we need, In a convenient location .A short walk to anything you may need including Pet Smart ,The Mall ,Dennys, Mc Donald's . The breakfast was very good and a perfect variety ! Genny is very helpful and gave is some good tips on some sight seeing. Kayla made our check in Pleasant which was nice considering we arrived 1 a.m. our time and found out the original hotel that we booked at no longer takes dogs ( although my Yorkie is medical assist with all of the proper certification and papers ) We like to stay at a hotel where they are welcome and feel that way ! All of the staff was extremely, helpful , professional, friendly accomidating and kind to not only us but our Yorkies as well . The bed was comfortable and pool was clean , jacuzzi warm , We would definitely stay again . They have a workout room and laundry room .Thankyou Best western superstition springs inn for providing us with a pleasant stay . John, Peggy ,Gus and Brody Giarrusso
Had a great stay at this hotel. Was clean and close to everything. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. I was able to check in early. The have a nice breakfast. The hotel is right at the mall so shopping is easy can just walk. I would recommend this place.
Rooms were outdated, carpet looked very dirty, The breakfast buffet was poor. The carpet in the room looked like it had been missed when the carpets were cleaned. Requested ground floor if there was no elevator because of one person was in a power wheel chair. At check in time we were to be put on the 2nd floor.
This Best Western Hotel was clean and in a good location next to shopping center and plenty of restaurants. It served my needs for this location. The breakfast was adequate with usual breakfast foods. I didn't use the pool or spa but other guest seemed to enjoy it.
I reserved adjoining rms to keep the children close. They messed up the reservation although I set it up 2 weeks in advance.Having someone who doesn't walk well, they put us upstairs - no elevator! Since that was impossible, they split us all up on opposite sides of the motel. The rm I was assigned, rm 125 was covered in mosquitoes..on the ceiling, walls and flying through the air; landing in your mouth, eyes, hair. In the toilet was their breeding ground. The toilet water and inside the bowl was COVERED with them. When you flushed, they all flew out !!! Awful! A serious health hazard! Horrible weekend! I will never stay there again.!! Traveler Beware!
I thought the hotel was okay for the price. It was an older hotel and could use some updating. However the staff were great. Breakfasts were good. Close to great shopping and Gateway airport. I would stay here again. I got a handicapped room and would have preferred a bathtub. Pool and hot tub were good although I prefer a 'hot' hottub, not lukewarm.
I am an old quadriplegic so due to my special needs my requirements in any motel/hotel are not normal. The king sized bed made it quite difficult for my caregivers to help me and because of my age plus 3 decades of being SCI the soft bed was uncomfortable for my body which is void of muscle tone and with soft bones. Aside from the too-large, soft bed, it was very quiet at night and every staff member there was amazingly pleasant and more than willing to help me.
We always stay at this BW when we visit Mesa. We have family here, but cherish our "quiet time" during each visit. This location is perfect for us! Denny's, McDonald's, and the church of our faith share this huge property, so we can walk to each-& also to the huge mall across the street. It's a destination unto itself. This time we noticed that the lighting was dim & inadequate for our needs. Next time we'll bring our "forehead lights." We didn't notice this problem prior to this trip.
I would recommend best western to anyone staying for business or pleasure . This facility is top drawer .. The price is very reasonable , the rooms are immaculate .. And the staff are very considerate and friendly .. The staff at the check in desk are very well dressed and eager to to make your stay comfortable ..
For the last four years, we have been spending our winters in Mesa, AZ. We have stayed at the BW Superstition Spring Inn each of those four years. It has become our home away from home! We have experienced the most friendly, helpful staff here. This year we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile from Felix when we walked in the door January 1st. Our accommodations were everything we expected. While we were at Mesa, housekeeping kept our room spotless. Thank you to Margie and Lupe! We felt like we were so special by the way they treated us! We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds and pool area. It was so relaxing to sit by the pool in the afternoon. Over the years, we have seen many improvements too. The breakfast has been upgraded to a complete hot breakfast with friendly staff. I love breakfast so this was a very welcomed addition! Another area that has been upgraded is the pool area. The pool is now completely enclosed and secured. New pool furniture too! We are looking forward to coming again next to see what is new. I am sure Christy will have some surprises in store for us. The motel is in a very comfortable area. If you are looking for shopping, there is a mall area a short walking distance from the motel. If you like cheesecake, the Cheesecake Factory is in walking distance. Denny's and MacDonald's are close by too. At Denny's you get a 20% discount on your purchases by staying at the Best Western Superstition Springs Inn. The motel is located close to highway 60 with a easy on and off. You will not be sorry if you choose Best Western Superstition Springs Inn for your next stay in Mesa, AZ. Christy and her entire staff are there to serve you in any way they can. We will be back in 2017! This is truly our home away from home.
We booked a late trip and our expectations were average at best. The management was very accommodating a flexible with our travel plans. The location has a lot of value added perks. Kristy is an excellent manager. Thanks for the assistance.
Stayed during high season in Phoenix. Not super chi-chi, but super solid. Impeccably clean room, clean lobby, clean grounds. Friendly staff. Cheesecake Factory walking distance a bonus. :-) Easy to get to from Phoenix ingress on Highway 60 from East. Great.
Our stay was outstanding. Made perfect by Christy and her entire staff. We could not ask for better service and accommodations. We enjoyed the hot breakfast that was available every morning. The quality was excellent and a wide variety of items. The weather was great and we were able to use the outdoor pool. It is nice to have a secured pool area. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the motel!
Typical accommodations if it had been half the price. We found it very difficult to find accommodations period close to the Mesa/Gateway airport. Decided to splurge on the Superstition Springs Inn. It looked nice in the AAA Guidebook. Pool area was small, location was in the middle of a couple of malls and no information available in room regarding restaurants or attractions w/in walking distance. Bed was comfortable, wifi worked, clean and surprisingly quiet for being next to a very busy intersection and several fast food places.
This hotel is to expensive you can stay at a lot nicer place for about the same price. You do not expect a Best Western to be this expensive. Other than that it is clean and well taken care of and not a bad place to stay. They do except pets for a small additional fee.
We arrived Christmas Eve after driving 2 1/2 days from Central Florida and I still had shopping to do for the next day. Convienent: After finding the hotel (the increased traffic turning into the mall blocked the view of the directional sign) we unpacked, walked Kodi the Corgi, and headed to the mall. We didn't have to join the hundreds upon hundreds searching for parking spaces, we just walked across the parking lot. The Room: The room was well maintained and clean, and although they allow pets, you couldn't tell. Fresh sheets, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and well stocked with towels. I appreciated having a small refrigerator in the room for hubby's meds and so we could stock our own drinks and snacks. Our room was on the Denny's restaurant and McDonald's drive up side which made me pause, but I can honestly say there was no issue with traffic or after-hours noise. Staff: The staff was courteous from the front desk to the maintenance man and housekeeping. Our housekeeper, Stacey (? sorry, I am horrible with names) was quick and efficient, and greeted Kodi by name when she came into the room. The grounds were well maintained. I picked up after Kodi, but sadly not everyone did. Despite this I did not find myself having to walk around a lot of mess so someone on staff was doing regular clean up. We were here five days and had to do laundry. I have stayed in hotels where it is $3 and more a load in little machines, These were priced reasonably and the laundry area was clean and secure. Breakfast was plentiful and good, lots of selection. One day the circuit breaker kept turning off some of the appliances and the manager was right on it. The only thing I did not like about breakfast was the TV and the news. This is true in many hotels. My suggestion is get rid of the TVs so guests can eat in a peaceful environment. Most people had their phones out and there are TVs in the rooms so it really isn't needed. One day, between the talk back among the guests to the TV and the volumen and content of the news, I gave up and took my stuff back to the room. Future: We will definitely stay in this hotel again. It is clean, reasonably priced, in a good location and has a wonderful staff.
This hotel has clean rooms, but the pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable and found there was no hot water for bathing/showering. The water was lukewarm and never got "hot" and the day we left and it was cold. I did not shower because of it. The rate for the room was outrageous and for those prices I expect excellent bedding and hot water. Also, the first night there was many sounds of trucks in the parking lot and upon investigation the next morning noticed that the McDonald's and Denny's and trash cans were not too far which accounted for the noise. The last two nights I did not notice much noise. If we did not have to be in the Phoenix area this time of year, I certainly wouldn't have because they apparently take advantage of travelers because of snowbirds. Quite expensive. On the plus side, although this property sits off the main road and behind the restaurants mentioned above the hotel is convenient to several shopping venues, etc. We will stay outside of town if possible next time to save some money and drive in.
This hotel is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, and close access to the freeway. The accommodations of the hotel and the friendly staff made this hotel a good choice. We'd definitely stay again.
Could not find any other rooms in the Mesa area available and we stayed at the Best Western. It was an OK stay with nothing special to make me remember it. The location is great right off Power Road and easy to get to. Breakfast is SO SO but there is a Denny's and Mc Donalds right next door as well as the mall. So lots of choices.
Overall my stay was very well --- only two items - was on the 2nd floor with no elevator and had to go around the motel to the stairs on the back side for the second floor. Access to the second floor from the lobby area would be great rather than having to walk around ( I did not have a car) to get to the second floor. This was the same issue for arrival and then every time I needed to get to the room. Had to walk around from the front to the back each time.
My wife and I tried this Best Western for the first time and were glad we did. From Kayla at check in who insured everything was perfect to Christy later for other needs. This crew does everything it can to make service as close to 5 Star as you can get. Thanks again and will be here again in the fall.
Bed linens were dingy when we arrived, not changed for 7 days (had to request this) while we were there. One day out of 10 room was not cleaned at all, garbage not emptied and no fresh towels provided. Complaint to management was not addressed to our satisfaction.
reserved room with walk in shower for person in wheel chair- received a room with a tub and a stool sitting in it. front desk manager basically said he did nothing wrong- is handicap accesible- we left and found a holiday inn that was very accomidating- would never stay at this hotel again!!!!
We stayed for a week & when we arrived the desk person was very friendly & welcoming. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious & the attendant quickly replenished eggs, links, etc. The cleaning staff was friendly, but frugal with the little soap & lotion. We had to ask & then they gave us more, since we stayed a week. This BW is close to the Gateway Airport, & also there is a shopping mall within walking distance. All in all....a very good place to stay
The place was nice enough for what it was, a bit over priced I thought. Staff was nice and the room was clean. We didn't have the breakfast because it wasn't available before we had to leave. Would have liked a TV guide in the room.
We stayed this past weekend and although the price was high it was understandable since the entire area seemed to be that way. We weren't very happy with such a high price but the thought of price went away when we got to the hotel. You could not ask for friendly people who work at a hotel. What a difference it was to any other places we've stayed at. The place isn't the hot new building in town but it's definitely clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety too. Overall very please with our stay.
Stayed here for one night because was close to airport. Room was average but could use an update considering the price of the room it was nothing spectacular. If you love to shop you can simply walk a few hundred yards to a huge mall. Denny's and McDonalds is literally outside your hotel room door...if you like that. Found it rather busy. Went to the pool and hot tub...hot tub was big and nice temperature. Pool is an average size. Depends on what your looking for in a hotel...close to airport and mall etc. then this is for you. Found this Best Western hotel was overpriced as it is an older hotel and is rather tired. Internet was almost nonexistant. too so if you need internet might be patchy.
We stayed here for one week. Nice clean place. All amenities including microwave coffee pot and refrigerator. Free breakfast included. Accommodating and friendly staff. Located by shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.
If you like convenience and pleasant staff personnel stay at Superstition Springs. The breakfast room was more than clean, not quite easily arranged, and the lady in charge was exceptional, as were all the staff at check-in desk.
Hotel room and bed were comfortable but the pillows were horrible. Should have down/feather instead of lumpy foam filled pillows. Located right across from a major mall so lots of shopping opportunites. Restaurants near by so many choices of cuisine.
Needed a comfortable room for three nights in Mesa, AZ while visiting friends and doing business. Found the Superstition Springs Inn to be comfortable & convenient. The staff was friendly and had an enjoyable stay. Price was competitive given the level of accomodations, incl. refer, and micro. and a nice couch from which to watch football playoffs. I would stay here again.
within walking distance of the mall. I expected a bit more for the price. the room was ok, beds were very hard though and both of us had shoulder pain by the 3rd day. the pool was wonderful and delightfully warm and the hot tub was nice after a day of walking. the breakfast had good variety, but I felt best with the fruits and toasts. would have liked a different kind of sausage and cheese on the eggs, or hard boiled eggs.
Hotel is conveniently located right next to a large mall. Very nice and clean-- very helpful and friendly staff. I think it was Phillip at the front desk who handled my reservation and check in. Absolutely professional-- even called after we got settled in the room to make sure everything was to our satisfaction-- which it was. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Very good value for the money.
Couldn't find the place without our GPS. The address listed makes no sense, because the motel is not on the street listed. It is literally located on an alley, behind a McDonalds. No evident signing anywhere.
Hotel staff great. Clean all around. Caring staff and helpful. There was a small problem with a noisy guest above us but the manager was quick to suggest another room for us as we didnt want to create a problem for the guest and hotel staff.
This hotel was within walking distance of a large shopping mall, a good thing the day before Christmas, and two restaurants. An access road around the mall offered an even wider selection of restaurants and shops, including one that was open on Christmas for dinner. The staff, specifically Sherry from housekeeping, was attentive, friendly and welcome us and our dog, Kodi. Will definitely be making reservations again this year.
This is our 3rd time here and we are never disappointed. We can always expect to have the best time, most comfortable and cleanest hotel rooms. We love everyone that works there. Christy always makes sure to take care of us everytime making sure we always feel welcome and important. Breakfast being included and being right next to the mall makes it even better. So convenient. Already looking forward to next time!
What a refreshing stay. Every single person we ran into always gave us a smile and said hello. Wanted to see if they could help us in any way. Although it is outside entrance the place was quiet and really clean. Slept really well. Neat breakfast with pancake waffles even! Sausages tastes best. Definitely will come back again.
Manager needs customer service training. Manager quick to have desk clerk address all customer concerns, by stating customer must wait and speak to housekeeping supervisor WHEN they arrive for their shift. Larger bed bugs were placed into their key envelope and brought to front desk and photos were taken of the smaller ones for managers review. Since manager or staff did not feel it necessary to check room with customer.
Best experience in a hotel in a very long time. The room was exceptionally clean. The location was perfect for jumping on and off the freeway. Will certainly book a room again next time for a longer stay.
Good location for softball/baseball tournaments at Red Mountain Sports Complex. Breakfast was average, don't really care for reconstituted eggs, other items available were ok. Dining and the mall real close by, within walking distance.
Our late check in was good and the staff was friendly, the hotel and our room were clean and comfortable. However as our stay came to the end our experience ended poorly. We we given a late check out, 12:00 instead of 11:00. We were not told our key only worked until 11:00, we were locked out of our room. After having housekeeping let us in we then found that prior to 12:00 the front desk was calling to find out why we hadn't checked out. They then sent someone to our room to find out why we still had not left, again it was not 12:00 yet and we had been locked out for 10 minutes!! When I actually checked out the process took 10 minutes because I did not give a email address and was told it was necessary. I also stated upon check in I was paying cash (still had to give a credit card for incidentals). When paying cash at check out, they made me wait while the room was checked for any issues before I could leave. Our last hour was lousy and this is the memory we are now left with. Very disappointing to end a vacation on such a sour note.
We were in town visiting family for the holiday and for the most part just needed a place to sleep. It's a great location for quick highway access, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast options were plenty and coffee was perfect! Loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was. I appreciate the professionalism yet kinship that exudes each employee.
This Best Western location is full-service and includes a heated pool and hot tub, fitness center, hot breakfast, and many other amenities. The rooms are spacious and in tip-top condition. The staff members in all areas are friendly, helpful, and do their jobs with the utmost care and servitude. The pool is really nice and the hot breakfast is delicious.
I travel a lot for business and I continue to return to the Superstition Springs Inn. Heather and Christy are very helpful and go above and beyond to help in every way. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is always fresh and there are lots of choices. I will continue to stay at the Superstition Springs Inn.
Upon arrival the toilet was broken and we had flies in the room. The employees were nowhere to be found on a saturday night. The breakfast was not good at all and I have stayed at many Best Westerns. The breads were hard and the yogurt was like water. I do not recommend you stay in this hotel. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.
Rooms are very clean and smell great. Heather and all the Staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. I stay here often because of the service and clean rooms. I travel often for business and this is one of the best places I stay.
Clean hotel and nice staff. If you like to be in a busy area this is perfect. Several malls and restaurants nearby. Too congested for me but that's just a personal preference. I would suggest not getting a room on the side by the McDonald's drive thru, you will hear all orders being taken at least until the air conditioner comes on and drowns out the noise.
The Best Western Superstistion Springs is well located for visiting Mesa. We spent one night while visiting family who live close by. The rooms are well maintained and surprisingly quiet - we were right across the parking lot from MacDonalds and didn't hear any outside noise. The rooms and breakfast are pretty much what we've come to expect from BW which is why we stay at Best Westerns- decent size rooms equiped with everything you need, a nice buffet breakfast and reasonable prices. The front desk manager is very
I usually hate going to Phoenix, but this time it was absolutely wonderful. Found the Best hotel ever!! It has everything around it you could ask for. You don't have to spend all your time stuck on the freeways looking for stores or looking for a place to eat. The staff is great and the rooms are so comfortable.. I found it by accident we were there for our son's wedding and wanted to be close to the venue. I will stay here the next time we go visit our kids..
Was traveling and needed to stay overnight. Look for hotels on my phone and found this one. Best Western did take us last minute. Very friendly people, Accepts pets, Clean rooms. Thanks for a great stay.
Situated on Power road in front of the mall and the excellent cheese cake factory and aDenny's restaurant, it is a nice place to be with lot to see araound. Hotel is good and clean, not so good when you are smoking. Even they have smoking rooms, nobody told us about. Otherwise you can count on a friendly staff
We stay at this hotel whenever we visit family in the area. We've never had any issues, the check in and out is always pleasant and the rooms are always clean and functional. There are a number of fast food and other types of restaurants very convenient to the hotel (within walking distance when it's not blazing hot). I would recommend the hotel for price and location for anyone staying here for business and/or pleasure.
great hotel, just don't stay in room 102, sounds like the inner sanctum all day and into the night. doors from the laundry room and the lobby badly needed oil, but we didn't complain until we left, so don't know if it was fixed.
sore back) the next morning. The shower head was at a great height, and plenty of hot water and pressure. It was very easy off of I – 60 and very easy back on (the only trick was our GPS took us past the street the hotel was on and made us make a U turn to get back to the hotel). It is adjacent to a mall with a Cheesecake Factory. Also, the front desk was cordial and honored our request of a ground floor room. CONS: There was a bunch of construction workers staying there and it made the parking lot congested. We left early the next morning and didn't get a chance to review the free breakfast.
