    « Minor Details »

When you drive in to the hotel, you will notice the parking is behind sliding gates that require your room key to open. However, there is nothing unsafe about this hotel. The room was quiet, clean and larger than many I have stayed in. However, there are some improvements that can be made here. First, the bathtub is smooth and there is no mat to place in the tub to prevent a slip. Also the doors to the room do not close properly, consequently you must be sure to push the door to get it to properly close and lock. When we left for breakfast this morning the people next door to us had not properly closed the door and it was open, anyone could walk in. HD TV worked well, WiFi worked well, good lighting. Breakfast was average, cereal, muffins, eggs, biscuits, however, unlike Best Western's we stayed at in Texas no Soy or Almond milk. Only whole milk and 2%. So again we provided out own milk. To the Manager of the Hotel, I commend you on answering all the reviews. However, it would be more effective if you answered fewer reviews with specific responses to issues expressed by your clientele. Posting a "form" letter to each review is really very negative and suggests that you do not care about what folks have to say. Makes me wonder if you actually read these reviews. When I receive my review request from Best Western after checking out I will be sure to notate this as well.

    « Great Stay »

I'd stay here again. I ended up staying for free after redeeming airline points so I didn't expect much. The room was clean, nice bathroom, plus it had Direct TV with tons of channels. Free breakfast included, along with a free shuttle to the airport.

« Did not feel safe »

Iron parking lot gates which seemed to open automatically so appeared to be of little value but suggested area was unsafe. AM staff gave my check out summary to another room holder in error. It had my address on it. I do not believe they knew we were traveling together as they had not been on duty when we came in. Again I did not feel safe. Breakfast was below standard.

    « Memphis Trip »

Searched for a couple weeks for a place to stay. Booked thru Epedia. Was very pleased when we arrived. Great place to stay, very nice room. Breakfast was good. Stayed 2 nights, staff very friendly. Close to Graceland and Sun Studios. Easy to get to.

« Good Stay for One Night »

This hotel is okay for a one or two night stay while in Memphis esp if you want to be near the airport because they will pick you up and take you back there when you are ready to leave. We stayed two nights and went back to the airport to pick up a rental car to drive to Nashville. Breakfast left a lot to be desired! The room was clean, the bed comfortable and carpeting fairly new so wasn't bad. Do not take cabs to Graceland or Beale St. The drivers "take you for a ride." Our cab fair was $27 to Graceland! Coming back it was only $10 and I think should have been even less because hotel personnel told us it was in walking distance. I suggest you use Uber!

    « overnight stay »

This hotel turned out to be a ways from everything. We were thinking we should have eaten before we checked in but were pleasantly surprised to find that they will pick you up and drop you off for free from one of the restaurants. We took them up on the offer and found it to be a normal family restaurant with decent prices. The property is gated and you have to use your room key to access the area. A nice bit of security. The room was really nice but I am not sure why the bed is so high. I almost needed a stool to climb up into it. Breakfast was fine but had been sitting there for awhile. The omelets were dry and the sausage gravy had not been stirred for awhile.

« could use some improvements »

This was the strangest accessible room we've ever been in. Our accessible room was on the second floor of a hotel that had no elevator. The grab bar in the tub was loose. The toilet ran continuously. The bed was awesome though -- very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff seemed attentive to complaints/concerns. There is an access gate to this fenced property that offered security

    « Hotel/motel »

Its more motel than hotel but you will get everything you need. Big 42 inch tv with cable tv, king size bed, toilet with bath/shower,hot/cold water, sink, table, sofa, chair, wifi free, phone and airconditioning. Outside free parking with acces control via swype card and pool. I spend here more than 2 weeks and was good.

    « AWFUL »

Dirty old hotel with rooms that smelled of smoke. Old sheets some grayish in color and very thin. Old, thin towels. couldn't wait to get out! The breakfast food presentation was terrible. We did not even have a cup of coffee. Good place to have a nightmare!

    « Bed Bugs? »

The room was a nice size and relatively quiet. The TV was large and easy to use. However, during the night my husband was bitten in 7 different locations over his arms and back. In addition, there was mold in the corners of the tub due to the design of the back portion of the tub. The water would land on the back panel and spill onto the floor.

    « Graceland »

Hotel was very new modern and clean. Very good value for the money. Vehicles are kept in fenced in area. Friendly staff with good breakfast. Only complaint could not get connected with internet in room.

    « Great »

Everything I expected from Best Western chain including good breakfast clean room fridge microwave will stock a room with towels and other things you need. I highly recommend this Motel Wi-Fi work great.

We have never experienced anything as disgusting as the way we were treated by this hotel, our booking was cancelled by a member of staff even though we had secured the booking with our credit card she decided to cancel our 2 night stay as we had not arrived by 6pm, we arrived at 9pm, there was no apology for this only blaming us for not getting there earlier, the attitude of the staff member was rude and obnoxious, we had travelled over 500 miles by car to get here so you can imagine we were tired and only wanted our room, eventually we go our room, which had some pungent fruity smell which had been used to mask the other unsavoury odour that was in the room, upon going to breakfast if you could find a table of which there are only a handful, grossly inadequate seating for the amount of rooms at the hotel, staff in kitchen weren't interested in helping only interested in talking to what look like the maintenance guy. This review is only for the MEMPHIS hotel others we have stayed at have been great, so my advice to you if you want to stay in Memphis and your really desperate why not sleep on the street as the people there will probably treat you better Also right on runway flight path and some early planes come in between 4am an 6am 3 off them on 2 nights/ mornings so this will give you the early wake up call you wanted.

« Excellent accomodations in Memphis »

This hotel is very near Graceland, the reason for our visit to Memphis. We discovered we were not that far from Sun Records as well, our next stop after Graceland. This is a pretty nice place to stay when in this area , but you will hear some jets from the nearby airport. There is a security fence around the property, something not at all uncommon in Memphis.

    « Not too bad »

We were on a road trip and ended up staying in many different Inns along the route. This one was one of the better ones for an 'Inn' category hotel. The whole hotel compound is secured by a gate and only with your room key you can get to the parking, which was a nice added security feature. The room was alright with a typical layout, comfortable and clean bed and a clean bathroom. Unfortunately the wifi was very unstable with a very weak internet connection. The breakfast was a typical breakfast you'll find in an Inn type lodging, very very basic!

    « Clean and secure »

Another place where I did not know what to expect after reading some of the reviews on here. Check in was smooth and after finding our room (what IS their layout all about?!) we got to thinking about what to have for dinner. They recommended "Marlowes" and even booked transport (the restaurants' delivery drivers also double as taxi drivers and pick you up in a pink stretched cadillac!!) The room was spacious enough for our needs and perfectly clean. It had the amenities you could expect. I guess you could say the area is not the best but the fact that it was gated made you feel more than secure. Breakfast was decent. Waffle maker, eggs and sausage patties. More than set you up for a day's sightseeing. Yes this hotel is not luxury but it is more than adequate for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

« Middle of the road »

The hotel was in a reasonably good area and secure. The staff were very helpful and friendly. For a Best Western the room could have been cleaner and fresher although the bed linen was clean and fresh. We asked for a non smoking room and could distinctly smell stale stale cigar smoke in our room (and possibly other underlying odours). However, we stayed two nights using the location as a base to travel about Memphis as there appeared to be worse areas in the city to stay (this we were also told from locals when asking where to stay)

    « A teensy bit scary »

This looked to be a renovation of a former motel. Owners tried hard to make it nice, but the smell of cleanser? Febreeze? Smoke plus the former? lingered on my stuff for a few days after we stayed there. On a highway. Lots of people just drifting around the property, smoking and lounging around. Pool was nice, though. If it were under $100 that would be fine, but we paid close to $200 for a slightly scary stay. Have to admit that the room was clean, just stunk.

    « What you'd expect »

I like BW hotels because you can expect updated, clean and comfortable rooms with friendly service and a good, budget breakfast, all at a reasonable price. This hotel ticked all those boxes. An earlier review mentioned that it is in a really bad neighborhood, which is not correct, as it is merely in an industrial area close to the airport. I will stay here again.

« Nice place to stay »

Rooms were clean and modern, seemed recently updated. At first we weren't sure about the neighborhood, but we stayed 4 nights and were very pleased with our experience there. Very easily accessible to downtown and midtown - less than 15 minutes and a very easy drive. AND only a few minutes to Graceland! We've stayed other places in the Memphis area that cost twice as much but weren't necessarily any nicer. You just have to be prepared to drive, can't really walk anywhere nearby. Would definitely stay there again while visiting our college student in Memphis! Staff was very nice and friendly too...

« Staff was rude and Un helpful »

Stayed here in mid june for 1 night booked this 2 months in advance. Printed up my confirmation with checkin time. Due to some issues we checked in an hour late staff informs me well now you have to wait another hour we just gave all the clean rooms to another large group? What.? After 30 minutes dealing with a manager she walked away from the desk.finally another employee called her.she told them to infotm me my room was now ready and tell her we will take 20.00 off her bill.i guess to her that made everything ok..never again will I attempt to stay at a best western.ever

« Everything We Could've Asked For in a Hotel »

The Best Western Executive Inn had everything we could've asked for: quick check-in and check-out, clean and comfortable accommodations, plenty of choices with the complementary breakfast, and a convenient location from which we easily rode Uber to Beale Street. Better still, the rate at which we made our reservation was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the Memphis area with similar amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

    « Pleasant Travel Experience »

Staff was very helpful and professional. Facility was clean, comfortable and secure. Standard amenities and all clean and in usable condition. The only negative is it is not a pet friendly facility. Close to airport and downtown Memphis as well as Graceland for those who want to see Elvis's estate. I was there on business so proximity of downtown and airport was a major factor for me.

    « Best Western »

Hotel staff were very helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast was great. The location was great in that it was close to Graceland. The swimming pool was well kept as well as the rooms. We did have trouble with wifi because the internet service was down for a short time. It came back up later in the evening.

    « Quality Hotel »

Very Clean room, well maintained grounds.very quiet room was able to get a lot of work completed during my stay. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. location was very close to the office I was working at during my stay. would recommend this hotel.

    « Don't stay at this hotel! »

Lousy service, terrible room, amenities not in working order, breakfast just okay, lack of towels, mildew/mold in bath. Bath very tiny difficult to even close the bathroom door unless you step into tub or beside toilet, shower leaked so that the floor was wet after a shower.

« Rooms OK, but location sketchy »

Hotel is OK, service is minimal and location is in an industrial area on noisy road. Rooms are exterior entry. Overall not anywhere close to what we expected. Room had unpleasant smell and bathroom door was sticky

    « Stay anywhere else »

On a business trip to Memphis I stayed at this hotel- I didn't get much sleep as my room faced the pool and there were parties and domestic disturbances (fights) from 11pm through 5am. I made multiple calls that went unanswered at the front desk until about 5am when I had to threaten to call the local PD myself if the situation wasn't addressed. I am a platinum Best western member, but will never stay at this one again- remember- you have been warned!

« Nice rooms, uninterested staff »

These rooms are very nice for the price: comfortable, large, comfortable bed, and fixtures all worked. Unfortunately, the staff that checked me in wasn't very good, not helpful as I arrived, and gave incorrect directions to my room. That was especially frustrating, because you can't see the room markers at night. I only stayed overnight, so the nice room makes it a decent place, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

    « close to graceland »

Regular hotel close to Graceland (2 kms). Very disappointing the breakfast quality and variety, no cheese, no bacon, few muffins and jams and that is all. There was also a big fan extremely noise at the lobby that also serves as breakfast room, quite impossible to enjoy in peaceful silence the slim and annoying breakfast. Planes fly over the structure day and ALL NIGHT long, very very noisy

    « Good Experience »

We stayed at this hotel passing through and it was a good experience. The hotel has a gated parking lot and it was a quiet night sleep. The only negative was dragging our bags up 2 flights of stairs and figuring out how to get to the breakfast was an adventure. It is right down the road from graceland.

    « Good nights sleep »

Found the hotel to be quiet and clean. One of the best beds and good pillows I have found traveling. Very good nights rest. I will put this hotel on my keepers list as I travel quite frequently for work and comfort is important to me.

    « Great hotel! »

This hotel was better than expected! When booking we were told the rooms would be very small and were pleasantly surprised at how big the actually were! The desk worker at night on the 9th and 10th was very helpful and suggested great restaurants for us! Hotel was very quiet and staff very professional. Only thing we didn't like is we had to get out everytime we parked our car to swipe out key to get through the gate. We really enjoyed our visit! Would stay again if in the area!

« all we need in this kind of travel »

this hotel is ideal located: minutes from graceland and airport, but not too far from downtown. the room is very conveient and cozy, very good service, sleep quality and breakafast and pool as well. of course the value for money is above expectations.

« Don't Stay here if you have a pet »

The hotel is in a questionable part of town - evidenced by the parking is all behind a locked gate more secure than the USA southern border. They relegate people with pets to a smoking room. My clothes and luggage still stink from the stay (I am traveling across country with my small dog). I had no problems with my pet at other hotels including two other Best Westerns in other cities. In addition I tried to check in at 3:10pm and my room was not ready. My dog and I had to wait in the hot sun for the room to be cleaned. This place stinks!

    « very helpful employees »

We thought we were going to have a problem at check-in but it was quickly resolved and we even stayed an extra night. they were very helpful and took very good care of us . the hotel was clean and the breakfast was enjoyable. not much around it but they offered maps and directions to anything you needed.

    « Average »

I had some issues with my reservation. For some reason, the hotel staff did not receive my reservation that I had booked through Expedia. Expedia said that everything went through fine and that they should have received my reservation. I am not sure if this was the hotel's fault or the third party's fault, but it was certainly aggravating. When I tried to call the hotel to talk about it, I was placed on hold several times for long periods of time and eventually forgotten about. However, when I arrived to the hotel, we were warmly greeted by staff and they had our room reservation and room ready for us. Our room was very spacious! The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The only complaint about the room was that it did have a strange smell to it. We liked that the property was gated, however, it was very difficult to find parking. Very small parking lot! Overall, I would stay here again on my next trip to Memphis. Next time, I will make sure to book directly with the hotel to avoid any problems.

    « Personal »

Very good while visiting Graceland, PinkPalace, the Zoo, the Pyramid and Bass Pro Shop. Traffic is somewhat of problem as being from a smaller city, we do not experience this mucn, but we were able to do OK with it. Temp of course was hot, but that too was easily dealt with. Overall, a good enjoyable vacation.

« Older motel, but lovingly cared for »

The motel is in an industrial area, but it is well maintained inside and outside. There is a security gate around the hotel, so that entrance by car is only through the gate and by foot only through the front door. The staff are very warm and friendly, ready to go above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean and fresh. The breakfast area and the breakfast food are great. The fitness room is well-appointed but a little warm. Great value for a comfortable stay.

    « HARD Beds »

Visually pleasing but very compact room. Big TV yawn. Bed was so hard I almost slept in my van. The so called ergonomic chair lost a leg and dumped me on the floor. TV would not go on but I was too tired to deal with it. Found out it was unplugged in the morning but had to get a maintenance guy to help me move the heavy console to plug it in. Breakfast was average and fine. Coffee was unusually good. Shower did not drain for about 20 minutes and you had to hold down the handle to flush the toilet.. Front desk was unsympathetic about my fall from the chair but thanked me for telling her.all in all it was not a great stay for the 123.00 I paid for the privilege.

    « Very nice property »

Had a great experience at this hotel located west of the airport in a warehouse district. Only 10 min. to Graceland and a short hop downtown. Room was clean, bed comfortable, pool decent but wish it had a hot tub. Breakfast was very w/biscuits and gravy, eggs and Community Coffee (one of the best). Parking is very secure as the lot is gated. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

    « Great Experience »

Our group of 6 stayed at the Best Western, 3105 Millbranch Rd., Memphis for 3 nights. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk, reservations were al in order, rooms were excellent. The breakfast was very good with no shortage of food. The staff were all excellent. They do need to ensure that the vending company attend their machines more regularly as they ran out of several items. While the hotel experience was excellent our experience with suggested a suggested taxi company and tour company was not not good.

« Ok, could be better.... »

The hotel room itself is very nice, spacious and clean. I enjoyed check in and walking into a room that was cleaned and smelled very nice.... Now my concerns. The hotel is in an area where there are no major restaurants. There is also no elevator so you have to walk up the stairs and carry your luggage if your room is on the second floor. Breakfast is a circus because the breakfast area is very small. So if the breakfast area is full, you will have to take your breakfast back up to your room. The concerns I state are minor and overall I feel that the price we paid is worth it. I would consider visiting this hotel again if I have to re-visit this area.

« Great location to Graceland »

We booked this hotel not knowing the location or what to expect and as usual with booking a BW--was clean, breakfast was good, pool was great, people friendly and helpful. We were 5 minutes from Graceland which we explored and enjoyed and about 15 minutes from the downtown core. We took in the Bass Pro ( a must to see), the Great Mississippi and of course the famous Beale Street. Parking downtown is outrageous in these cities and beware of multiple motorist texting while they drive these freeways (very sad)...but the weather is hot and the food and drink is great!.

    « Not impressed »

By adding 'executive' to the name made it appear that this was an above average BW hotel. However, we found it to be very basic. It's beside a very noisy main road in a questionable area. There are no restaurants nearby that we could find, just fast food and sandwich shops. We ended up going to a Holiday Inn for something to eat and I wished we had booked in there for the night instead. However, it was not practical to pay for two hotel rooms for one night so we elected to stay where we were. The bathroom was extremely small and the whole room was in desperate need of redecorating as the paint was scuffed in many places, rust door hinges etc. The bathroom reaked of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The hotel car park was enclosed in security gates which were opened by your room card. This was a good security measure but was telling of the general area. However, the free wifi was welcome.

    « Good Location »

Hotel was short drive to Graceland. Had a nice outdoor pool .... Breakfast was good but lay out was poorly designed. Nice comfortable beds. Very secured parking area. Location is not close to downtown. If going downtown take a cab not the service the front desk offers. They were twice as much as a cab......

    « Good Value »

Good value for price. Motorcyclists are welcome. Rooms are very large, with small bathrooms. No restaurants nearby, but you can get DDG Shuttle Service at a better price than a taxi to take you where you want to go.

« Not in a great location but close to the airport... »

This hotel is close to Memphis International Airport and it is located in an industrial area. The entire facility and any vehicles are enclosed by a locked wrought iron fence. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful. The manager, Bessy Lopez was wonderful. During the day, they have transportation to and from the airport. Use the Metro cab service at other times.

    « Friendly Staff »

After arriving in Memphis after a very long journey from New Zealand we decided to get a hotel close the the airport. The hotel was only a 10 minute ride, so this was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and very helpful. We got the complimentary shuttle back to the airport the next day to collect a hire car. The shuttle only operates during certain hours so it would pay to check this out before you travel. The breakfast was basic but good and was made special by the lady looking after the breakfast area! Our first taste of Southern Hospitality! Later in our trip I discovered that we had been charged twice for this nights accommodation, however one phone call and the mistake was corrected.

« Two night stay to see Memphis »

Hotel was in a great location for seeing Memphis 10 minutes to Graceland and 15 minutes to downtown Memphis. My only complaint with the hotel, was no safes in rooms and the dry coffee creamer they have at the coffee bar. We usually stay at Best Westerns on our travels. And this was the first one that didn't have real cream or flavored creamers for our coffee or safes. Might sound petty, but when you are not at home, you still would like the comforts of home and we like our coffee. Just a suggestion.

    « Not recommended »

Hotel is dated. Desk employee recommended DDG shuttle service and they were nearly an hour late for the 1.5 mile ride to the airport. Breakfast was minimal and poorly labeled. Workout room was very small.

    « Convenient, good value »

A one night stay to see downtown Memphis for the first time. The motel is convenient with access to I-55 and US 72 for us to head east in the morning. Comfortable room, beds, Wi-Fi and good breakfast. Price is reasonable so it is a good value & we would use it again.

« Do not recomend this hotel »

I do not recommend staying at this facility. I was disappointed from the moment we drove onto the property. Surrounded by fence and aging staircase with holes in it. Lobby to small to hold crowd of people so we were not able to partake of breakfast in the morning. We had to sign a paper indicating our responsibility to pay for room damages and NO PARTY. No problem except it did not pertain to other people in the hotel who were yelling and walking up and down hallway, knocking on doors. Very dissapointed.

    « One night stay »

We didn't call in advance because we weren't sure which day we'd arrive in Memphis. We wanted to be close to Graceland. This was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Our car was in a secure parking lot and close to our room. The staff was very accommodating. We got to the breakfast buffet almost when it was time to close but they still let us stay and didn't remove the food items until we were finished.

« Isolated. But's good for one night... »

Picked this hotel because it was cheap. It's close to the airport. I drove in from Oklahoma. The drive was too long. I was mistakenly given a smoking room. I didn't change the room because the place was booked solid! I figured I could take one night. The room was clean and the big window faces West so you do get the full brunt of the setting sun. The towels smelled fresh as did the bedding. There is no in house restaurant. The friendly , courteous, staff recommended Marlowe's. This restaurant picks you up and drops you off. Another review is pending. Let's just say I would come back to this hotel because of the restaurant!

« After a week of being spoiled »

When I was checking in there a woman who based on first impression appeared to be a prostitute, made me feel uncomfortable. We stayed here after spending three nights at a five star hotel for maybe my standards may have been a bit high. The 4 am wake up call from the Fed Ex jets was pretty crazy. The faux leather couch made it feel/look like a "rent by the hour" sort of place. I would not go back....maybe I was expecting too much after a wonderful stay someplace else.

« It was Pleasure stay »

Me any my group was there for Memphis International Conference. Room was good, Nice and Clean, Staff was good, Nice Break Fast. Only thing is entrance is from outside. So we need to be careful. Otherwise all mosquitoes will come inside in room during evening time.

    « Great coustomer servise »

The manager at this location Mrs Lopez, is a very down to earth woman that went above and beyond her duty to make my stay here at this location very pleasant. The front desk clerk Tiffany , made our stay very easy. I would recommend thus hotel to anyone who travels through this area.

    « Good deal »

Great location, close to airport and Graceland, not far from downtown and Beale St. Staff was very welcoming, full breakfast included biscuits and gravy. Comfortable bed and pillows (yay!) Stayed here coming and going, would do again

    « Stay again »

Booked this hotel on and their system only showed reservations for one of the two rooms booked. Within twenty minutes, Bessey at the front desk worked it out so we were able to get the second room and at the rate that was promised on The room was nice and clean.... Location is close to Beale St... Would I book here again?... Absolutely!

  • 1
    « Poorly Managed »

toilet over flowed, cleaned up immediately but the carpet is still wet, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, room poorly cleaned, our fault that we got a smoking room because we booked on line. Asked to speak to the manager this morning and still waiting.

« Great places to stay »

All of the updates to this hotel, were great. The front desk person Bessey was amazing, she was very helpful, in how to get around Memphis with our short timeline and so professional, efficient and friendly atmosphere. She is an amazing person and we really appreciated her help and suggestions.

« Good budget option close to the airport »

We had a decent two night stay here while visiting Memphis. The location close to the airport and the small size of Memphis makes this a good hub for exploring the city. The free breakfast opens early and made for a convenient meal before and early flight. The gated parking access is also nice for piece of mind. Rooms sizes are large and everything was clean and in working order. Graceland is very close for all you Elvis fans :)

    « Close to Graceland »

If I had a complaint it was minor. I didn't want to use the washing machine after finding debris including chewing gum stuck to the drum. No complaints about anything else. Room had a cleaning odor to it, but that means their cleaning them right? Breakfast was fine and service was fine.

    « Not what I expected »

This motel is overpriced. Had mold in the bathroom. Walked into the room turned on switch and no light came on. Had to walk in semi dark, figure out which lamp to turn on so that the switch on the wall would work. When I told the receptionist of this, she told me that the switch on the wall does not turn any lights on! She did not know that the switch does indeed turn on a lamp.

« Good Place close to Graceland »

This hotel, while a bit pricey, had clean rooms, great service and an excellent breakfast. It has great access to downtown (10min) and 5 minutes to Graceland. No restaurants near bye, so get your food before coming down. Rooms were updated, and staff was very helpful.

    « Good Value »

We had a king size bed with sitting area. The room was clean, new flat screen TV and fridge. You do have to go outside to get to your room or office. It was in a more industrial area. Had a good breakfast. The morning staff was much more helpful then the evening staff that checked us in. I would stay here again.

« Great location to Graceland »

The location was great and we were greeted with smiles, and information. The room was Roomie with 2 queen beds. Then there was a sitting area as well. It was clean and quiet. The only disappointment was the rooms opened to the outside. I always thought Hotels were interior room entrance and motels were exterior?? There was a gate entrance which made me feel better.

Secure facility Location is the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at due to very thin walls, high vehicle traffic and directly under the airline flight path. Unable to sleep all night long Facility is aged and not the cleanest. The second shift front desk person was not quite on top of her professional game. The overnight person was quite unfriendly, we had to leave out quite early Would not stay at this location in the future. Difinitley not worth the money spent

« Customer Service is great and room was clean and comfortable »

Bessie at the front desk made everything very easy. We were in town due to a medical emergency and it was great to not have any issues with lodging. The wonderful woman who prepares breakfast (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was so friendly and helpful. I am so happy about the customer service! Our room was clean and comfortable. Good stay

    « Friendly staff »

This is a motel with rooms all opening to the outside. You will have to go outside to get to front desk, lobby, exercise room and to go for breakfast. Our room had an opening at the bottom of the door of about an inch gap. We rolled up a towel and jammed into the gap to seal off opening. Breakfast in the morning was the standard scrambled eggs with an option for cereal or waffles. The parking is gated and It does require a key to park in the lot for added security. The staff was very friendly both at the front desk and in the morning at breakfast. A small fitness room is also available with a treadmill and eliptical.

« Good for the area »

Friendly staff. clean rooms, could use a bit of updating but well kept. Surprisingly room was quiet with the nearby truck business and the airport. Most of the noise was from other disrespectful people slamming their doors! Only a couple miles from Graceland and a short drive to Beale street. Parking lot is gated to enhance safety. I thought neighborhood was fairly safe this just helps.

    « Pleasant staff »

This Best Western is close to the airport and very easy to find. The motel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The parking is behind the motel and is gated for security. The breakfast was what I have come to expect from Best Western and there was plenty of variety. I would stay here again.

    « Very poor - beware!!! »

This hotel location has a lot to be desired! When we checked in we asked if this was a quiet hotel, we were told they have a quiet room..... First room we checked into, the door frame was bent/twisted so that the door would not latch! The door hung open with an inch gap at the bottom. We told them the room was not acceptable, they moved us to another room, but we had trouble getting the key cards to work in that room. The first night was OK, but the second night at 1am the room shook with jet wash roars from the airport. The planes must have changed takeoff direction due to a wind change.... there was a roaring takeoff every few minutes. I know the hotel cannot do anything about the airplanes, but we asked a quiet room..... Worse....since there was no way I could sleep..... when I went to the front desk at 3am to check out, they apologized, and told me they would refund that night. They told me the manager would call me later that day. 5 days go by with no call.... or refund. I called back to speak to the manager, but she was upset with me because I made a bad comment on the Best Western comment cards. She told me she would call me later that day to make the refund. I never heard anything back from her.... I called her again but magically her phone will not accept my calls now. I have heard nothing from the hotel..... but the National Best Western Customer service lady was gracious enough to give me enough credit points on my rewards acct to get a free stay at another BW hotel. Best Western is a class act..... but this hotel Best Western Exec Inn, Memphis TN should be avoided....

    « Convenient and affordable »

Terrific staff! Friendly, helpful, and flexible. Continental breakfast was a plus with a wide variety of choices, there was something for everyone in our party. Small but clean fitness room was enough for me, and the small laundry room was definitely a plus.

« Great place for stay with park and fly »

Rooms are dated but clean and comfy. We found out on Trip Advisor that their shuttle was not available early mornings...we had to leave at 345 am! Stephanie was able to arrange a private shuttle and it was prompt and reasonable. When we returned we called hotel and their shuttle came promptly and the driver was helpful with our bags! Cars are parked in a secure lot and easily accessed. Stephanie was cheerful and accommodating.

    « Disappointed »

We are always happy to stay at a Best Western They have a great reputation, however this one was awful. Old stinky rooms, broken furniture and drapes didn't fit right so a lot of light came in the room at night. No acknowledgment when you came through the office area. Breakfast was decent. Lady taking care of breakfast did say good morning.

    « Exceptional »

Our stay at this hotel was outstanding. The people were all very friendly and offered suggestions for transportation and activities. Stephanie front desk and Angela food service were great so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend hotel.

    « POOR Service »

Desk clerk cancelled my Pay Pal prepaid reservation 11:30 at night insisted that it was a credit card problem and demanded cash payment or I could just go somewhere else. ( I had a 03:00 am flight) Found out 5 days after that she also billed my credit card. My bill reflected somewhere in Spain. No help to resolve payment issues. NEVER Book with these people.

    « Disappointing »

The room had two double beds and a single pull out couch. There were only three towels stocked in the room though. The toilet did not flush. The place was clean though. Breakfast consisted of cold eggs, sausage gravy with no biscuits, stale pastries, and cereal. When we had been down there for about 15 minutes, the staff member went in the back to bring out fruit and plug in the waffle maker. The whole place was gated, so at least it felt safe. Although hearing trucks honk at 4:30 am to be let in the gate was annoying.

« BEWARE ... airport shuttle may not be available though it is advertised and even confirmed by phone! »

Booked an airport hotel because we needed to be close to airport and needed the shuttle. HOWEVER, their shuttle was not available ... not in the evening, and not in the early morning! Completely unacceptable when advertised and confirmed that airport shuttle is available! Also, if you are going to be an "airport" hotel then breakfast better be served starting early for the early morning travelers! Though the price of breakfast is included in the rate, we could not partake due to early flight and their breakfast service not starting until 6:30! #1 no airport shuttle either evening or early morning ... #2 charged for breakfast but it's not available for early morning travelers ... However, this hotel was very clean, our room was well appointed and very comfortable! A very nice hotel room, and front desk staff TRIED to be helpful. The shuttle unavailability was not her fault, but she did her best to remain helpful. IF the shuttle and breakfast was available I would have rated this hotel FOUR stars! The parking area is gated and that is excellent because the rooms open onto the parking lot. An excellent security feature. The FEDEX planes start departing around midnight ... and then it's continuous. And it's noisy! This is because the hotel is close to the airport ... so bring your earplugs! Manager of this hotel ... get your shuttle running 100% of the time and either discount for no breakfast or offer it VERY early! You have an excellent hotel otherwise.

    « Rules Are Rules »

This was a nice place but my problem with it lies in their policies. I had inadvertently put the wrong arrival date on my online reservation. This was discovered upon arrival. Since it was for the night before and I never called I was charged for the night I wasn't there (accidentally). I actually was in another one of their hotels in a different town on that night but they were not going to bend the rules. I am a diamond member in their rewards program and stay almost exclusively in their places but this seemed to mean nothing to them and they were in fact very dismissive of my situation. I even called the customer service line and got the same speech. An employee told me that they had plenty of rooms that night so it wasn't like I cost them any money. As for the place , it was the first hotel I've ever stayed in that was gated which tells you a lot about the area. The card swipe to activate the gat could not be reached from the window of the car so you have to step out to do it. Their website also states they have a 24 hour airport shuttle service. Nope, it only runs between 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Kind of useless for a business traveler that has an early flight. So I had to keep my rental car an extra day just to drive to the airport in the morning. Can't recommend it at all.

    « Stay before Thanksgiving. »

The Best Western was clean. They had good breakfast. It Was very close to Graceland. The Express way was close to go down any where else. The employees where very helpful. No problem with anything. We will recommend it ,

« Ckean ,secure, and close destinations »

Parking and rooms were secure, you had to have a room key to park in lot. Very clean and close to everything we wanted to go to. Only down side was right next to airport so we heard the plains but with TV on hardly at all. Plus not many places in Memphis where you can not here the planes. The trip is worth the stay.

    « When In Memphis »

When in Memphis and you need a place close to the airport and/or Graceland and/or Memphis BBQ places--this it the B/W motel for you. They have a shuttle for the airport to/from(only a couple miles) & gated/secure parking(if you need to safely park your car for $25/car & only a couple miles from Graceland (Elvis' home) & several well known BBQ joints like Marlowes. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast are good. The staff can arrange a shuttle to downtown Memphis (several mile).

    « Sleeping in memphis »

Booked the room over the phone. Arrived at 11:15pm after driving 700 miles. The woman at the front had all paperwork and key ready as soon as I walked up to the desk to check in. Said only thing I needed to do was get some sleep. She was very welcoming and sincere. Never felt so welcomed in a hotel that quickly. Great night staff you have in Memphis! Room is clean. 5 of 5 Noise level 4 of 5 Staff 5 of 5 Beds 4 of 5 Breakfast 5 of 5 Well played best western. Well played ;)

« Beware of Spiders in Room! »

During the night I experienced the unthinkable. Spider(s) were in the room & commenced to crawl on my face while I was asleep in bed. Fortunately I woke up & was not bitten. But this hotel needs to have an exterminator visit (at least) room 117. There are serious issues. I reported to the front desk, however the only person available to report was a non-managerial employee assisting with the breakfast area. Management still has yet to respond to my issue.

« Pretty darn good for an airport hotel »

I like Best Westerns. I'm not used to a gated parking lot requiring card key entry. It made me wonder about the neighborhood. That said I think it is a regional thing for Memphis, and not necessarily a reflection of a "bad" neighborhood. I had no problems - great room, great sleep, decent breakfast, good service, right price, and the main reason I booked here - convenient to the airport! And....spitting distance to Graceland.

Knowing from past experience that Best Western has great locations to stay in, we booked a night at the Executive Inn near the Memphis International Airport. I had read the hotel was under new management and looked forward to seeing how they were doing. When we first arrived, the location is entirely fenced in. But don't make that a deterrent. The facility is located in an industrial area and for the safety of their guests, the fence is provided. Our room was clean and the amenities were quite good (large screen TV, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker). We arrived in the late afternoon and when it was time to go get something to eat, there was a list of restaurants that delivered. But there is one that will pick you up in a "pink Cadillac" and take you to Marlowe's. They have a great selection of BBQ foods to chose from. This is definitely the place for BBQ, while watching Elvis Pressley movies and other memorabilia. Then when you finish, you will be returned to BW. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices (waffles, eggs, sausage, etc.).

    « Pleasantly Surprised »

I was a little leery of this hotel just due to the price range (and the gated parking lot) but i was pleasantly surprised once I got inside. The staff was nice, the room was clean and newer than I had anticipated (looked like a room that would have cost $40 more). I felt safe the whole time which is more than I can say when i was driving/walking around town in other neighborhoods. Breakfast was good (eggs, waffle maker, sausage, biscuits & gravy, apples & bananas, etc.) The only issue i had was one of the fluorescent bulbs above the sink was not working which was only because i forgot to tell them about it so they could replace it. (Also, you can hear the planes taking off and landing, but they're pretty muffled, just sounds like distant thunder or something, didn't keep us awake at all). I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Memphis. Pretty short drive to Graceland and Full Gospel Tabernacle, close to the freeway and an easy trip to downtown.

    « Good budget hotel »

This was a great budget hotel. I stayed for 1 night. As a single woman traveling alone, I appreciated the gated parking lot to the rooms. It helped me feel safe, although the surrounding area didn't seem unsafe. The staff that checked me in/out, served breakfast, and cleaning staff, were all extremely friendly and accommodating.. The warm breakfast was good: waffles, eggs, biscuits & gravy. The room was clean and comfy. They even had sanitary covers for the tv remote, which I thought was a nice touch. Here are my biggest complaints, 1. The hallway to my room smelled like rotting food, but once I got to my room, it smelled nice and clean. 2. In the morning I woke up to hearing a loud machine. Once I got all my things together to check out and walked out of my room, I discovered the noise was a power sprayer, spraying down the exterior walks, however this meant I had to walk through puddles of water with all of my things to leave my room. I left feeling wet and dirty, when I had walked out of the room feeling pristine. 3. The layout of the hotel is confusing, and being that my room was an interior & upstairs, I had a hard time figuring out how to get to the office.

« after talking with management several times over the last few weeks they canceled all 14 of my rooms »

They canceled all 14 of rooms on 10/17/15 they had a card on file plus I had spoke with management 3 times before the arrival date..... Pissed very rude staff that work the evening of 10/17/15...... I WILL NEVER BOOK AT YOUR PROPERTY AGAIN and I still haven't heard from there manager I guess he still in Miami on vacation...

« Great value, close to major travel routes »

A little hard to find thanks to Memphis roads and poor maps. Worth the effort when you get there. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite even though close to airport and industrial area. Secure gated parking lot, well lit parking lot. Does have some areas that could use more lighting though. CCTV monitored public areas.

« BW at the Memphis Airport »

Gated hotel with curb-side rooms... Clean, so hits my #1 criteria. Just hate the traffic noise (other guests and cars alike) with the front wall AC. Price was right and can't beat the proximity to the airport. They also offer an early AM shuttle.

« Accommodating, comfortable, clean, warm, kind staff! »

This hotel is close to the airport and the hotel runs an affordable shuttle to Graceland, almost at your convenience. Other attractions and or museums in Memphis are not close by, and a taxi can be pricey. You can NOT buy anything, go eat or get any other services due to the fact that the hotel is located in an industrial area, and restaurants, groceries stores and or fast food are not available in that area or within walking distance. You are almost forced to rent a car if you fly in.The hotel is It is quiet and you can get a good night sleep, The FREE breakfast is pretty good and there are many choices to please many tastes.

    « Great value »

Clean and comfortable bed - our first priority! The rooms are very nice, the bed is VERY comfortable, the breakfast was good. Each room has a fridge and our room had a small sitting area with a couch. Nice large TV. Within 5 minutes from Graceland, 12 minutes from Beale Street. Would have given 5 stars if the exterior was more attractive, the desk staff knew more about the area attractions, if the hotel was not in an industrial area of Memphis, and if they had the SEC channel (our favorite college was playing but we couldn't see it). But a great room and very nice staff.

« If You Are Flying.... »

This hotel is quite near the airport and not too bad of a place to stay. Old style type motel with doors that open up to a balcony and stairs to the parking lot. It's a bit funky but relatively clean. The parking lot is fenced. They will take you to the airport and you can leave your vehicle safely there while away. Then, upon your return, you can call and they will return you to your vehicle.

    « great breakfast »

as noted above. great staff. it is close to Graceland and about 10 min from down town (and the VA hospital I had to use) it is also close to the airport, and the takeoffs at night are hearable, but not intolerable.

    « Missing hotel reservation »

The hotel staff could not find my reservation from the computer system. The printout of my Best Western reservation e-mail meant nothing to her. Since I did not have energy and time to look for another hotel, I had to pay a higher hotel price (than the price per my reservation) as a walk-in customer.

    « Best Western Memphis »

Great Stay. Easy driving to downtown and close to Graceland. We experienced some wonderful restaurants that didn't offer everything "Fried". We are so tired of everything being offered as fried! Try the Flight restaurant and one right overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River....I think it is the restaurant in the River Inn and jus upstairs! Great!

    « Good Stay »

Motel is located near airport. I did not use airport shuttle or the airport. Average Best Western breakfast. A little below BW average internet: 4.8 Mbps down, 8 up. Maybe in not so good area of town as the motel had security gate and fence around it which was great for feeling safe. I would stay here again.

    « A must for truck anoraks »

Still don't understand why we stayed two nights (reserved 3), probably because we visited Graceland day 2. The hotel looks like a prison with a high fence around it, probably for a good reason. It's in an industrial area of Memphis a mile or two from Graceland, nothing else close by. To make a long story short, the first evening ended by another family opening our front door at 8PM, say no more. The web site clearly explains why you should not trust photos. The pool is small, when we visited it was contaminated by a lot of hair. The lifebouy was placed high on a wall, to use it you needed to be at least 6ft4, also probably for a good reason. The references for people who rank this place high must be of an extremely poor quality.
