Best Western Mill Park Motel

Clean motel room with microwave, plates, bowls, cutlery and wine glasses. Coffee, tea and biscuits. Bed was comfortable and soap, shampoo etc provided. McDonalds just a short walk away and also a restaurant. Woolworths also nearby.

Convenient 20 minute drive to Tullamarine airport. Spacious room which was very clean. Hotel called to confirm arrival time and even though we arrived late, they were there to greet us and provide all the information that we needed.

Our accommodation was everything we needed but don't always find. We needed 3 beds, our rooms would have accommodated 6 quite easily. The room had a table and chairs and a lounge. There was a microwave, as well as a toaster, making us self sufficient.

We were in Room 31, ground level entry but elevated at the rear of the room giving a nice feel of being amongst the trees. The room was very clean and well serviced by friendly staff. Pillows were a bit flat.

Room appeared uncared for and very "tired". Needs complete renovation as the silicon seals in the shower were split and dirty, the floor tiles were very marked and grimy. The floors were dirty as were the window sills and tops of the light switches, there were cobwebs hanging from ceiling and the room was full of mosquitos. The staff were lovely though - even going off to the local shops to purchase some fly spray.

The room was clean and roomy. The bathroom was old and had a number of quick fixes especially around the vanity sink and the spa. The spa looked old and the jets looked unkept. The corking between the spa and the tiled wall was partially missing and poorly applied. We didn't use the spa because it didn't look 'right'.

Mill Park Best Western was very easily found and easy to park within the available spots per room. Very secure rooms, only accessible using card-key. Comfy bed, ample towels etc, adequate toiletries. Helpful and friendly staff to advise of local eateries. Easy access to local arterial roads necessary for our trip. Could do with more electrical outlets, particularly for usb charging of devices in today's world of travel. Despite it being only a studio, it was very roomy and the couch had the ability to convert to an extra sleeping option if needed(costs extra). We got a discount even cheaper than the online advertised price, which was on the high side for this time of year (school holidays)

On arrival, I was barely greeted by the female staff member. She seemed too “busy” to say anything other than “yes” when I opened the door. This staff member was extremely abrupt and rude. Told me check out was “strictly 10am”. I mentioned we would be checking out earlier than that and I was questioned as to how early? If my husband and I were staying more than a night I would have left straight after this interaction and paid more to stay somewhere else. I had booked a very standard room, with a shower, however we were put into a spa room. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but being 34 weeks pregnant, I could barely step over the high bath to have a shower! No handle bars for safety either with this. The top of the bath is higher than my knee when I stand beside it. Room was relatively clean, however the bath tub that you stand in to shower was not. You could see dirty water leaking and rust around the taps and spa jets. The bed. Oh gosh the bed. Honestly, I considered sleeping on the floor or the pull out couch. You could feel every spring in the bed. Unsure how other reviews have mentioned a comfortable bed?! The pillows were extremely flat. Room was fairly dated, however aircon worked well. Room had complimentary bottle of wine, however the note that came with it said “enjoy your 2019”. It is 2022…. Carpark area was extremely dark and didn't exactly feel safe particularly reading others reviews about other guests etc. Never again will I stay here.

A difficult weekend coming back to the past. I was fairly comfortable at Best Western Mill Park Motel. What sort of Trip? The business is family and friends, and I was solo. Surveyors wake up! Life is not one dimensions, and so, why are your questions one dimensional? If you do not understand, read Herbert Marcuse. You will find a useful education.

OK but could be better - poorly maintained and unwelcoming reception. Towel rails broke- intermitant tv, no adjustablr a/ cond, hair dryer not working? Loose threads in carpet. I reduced from 4 nights to 3 then told that my room was not available??premier room then offered at a higher price??? Not enough blankets. Bed not made one day. The whole place seemed tired and ordinary.

Very quiet motel in good area. Clean motel and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Staff worked quietly when cleaning and gave extra coffee and milk when requested. Plenty of towels provided

My company booked this for my 8 day business stay in Melbourne. Rude staff upon checking in, made us wait 2 hours to get in our rooms. I wanted to do my laundry at around 7pm but the Old Asian Staff told me he is leaving at 8pm and it will be closed and too late,even though in their policy, it's 9am-9pm. Came back to check reception at 8.30pm and he is still there so I confronted him why he doesnt wantme to do the laundry earlier. Harassed me in frontof my son and even questioned me why I want to do my laundry at night time. He was yelling at me so I started raising my voice too. I amost called the cops for his unacceptable behaviour. THIS IS NOT A SAFE STAY FOR FAMILIES. ALL ROOMS SMELL SMOKE AND OUTSIDELOGHTS ARE TOTALLY OFF BY 9PM. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CAN NOT COMMUNICATE WELL IN ENGLISH.

Due to medical appointments nearby we stayed at Best Western in Mill Park. Facilities were favourable and we were close to shopping centres and food outlets. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book for future trips to Melbourne.

Room is basic but clean. Reception was with poor English and found rude attitude. try to avoid this hotel if you don't want destroy your mood at the beginning of travel. location is ok and has free parking space.

Our rooms were not served during our Easter stay. The manager seemed surprised when I said I expected out rooms to be serviced each day. The hotel seemed to have a lot of permanent residence who smoked outside under the verandah which travelled around the doorways of each room. We had occupied two rooms and both were inundated with people smoke. Plus only one side of the rooms had out sensor lights so when you arrive back to your room after 10pm there is no lighting for you to see. This is a low standard Best Western hotel.

Stayed here as was attending an Xmas eve gathering with my partner. The room they gave us absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. It was so bad it had permeated everything. We asked to change rooms and was told there was nothing they could do and had no other rooms available. They also charged us the full amount despite the accommodation supposedly being non-smoking and I can tell you the smell was horrendous. I will never book here again and strongly advise anyone else to not book here.

Not recommended due to management not being helpful. Booked and paid via online third party for 4 night stay. Gave the card details to the reception for incidentals - as we do in Australia. The property has also charged my card for 4 nights. Refusing to refund saying that they have not got the money from the third party. Wanted me to call the third party (overseas) and trying to make a case that I gave them the card to be charged. Why would I do such a stupid thing when I have already paid. Cleaning staff are excellent and property is very clean. management is not very customer focused. The clients staying at the hotel were also not the best (a huge change from when I used to stay at the property previously). Overseas third party was very helpful.

Great rate, upgraded to wtin (from Queen) upon request two days prior to arrival - no problem at all for the friendly helpful staff. Clean room with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Reverse cycle air conditioning for heating or cooling. Rooms set back from road so that traffic noise was not even noticed. Great bedding resulting in good night sleep. Don't waste your time looking further book here if you need to be north of Melbourne. No hotel is home, but this was the next best thing.

Spider in the room people in room next door had music blaring obviously walls must be very thin. No Foxtel only free to air tv. Toilet roll holder too close to toilet kept knocking it with my arm. Close to McDonald's.

This Motel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms have comfortable beds and are always spotless. The kitchen is very convenient with a microwave and kettle. We have stayed here a few times now over the course of a year and it has always been consistent.

Accommodation is thin on the ground in this part of Melbourne so we were pleased to find this Best Western just five minutes away from a wedding we were attending in Mernda. As we arrived and the "Under New Management" signs were proudly displayed, it was clear that there were some early stage issues to be ironed out. The new managers were friendly and trying to be helpful but their language skills are challenging both over the phone and in person. Our room (number 2) was large, modern and very clean. It was very heavily drenched in disinfectant though and the smell was awful, we opened up every window and door to let some fresh air through and that helped a lot. A little patio with seating was pleasant and the fixtures and fittings were basic but modern and functional. The small kitchenette was a handy inclusion for us, especially the fridge. The motel is easy to find off Plenty Road (just turn at Maccas) and was quiet through the night. There is ample parking which is right outside the rooms in typical motel style so expect to be woken early as people get up and go. Overall, we had a comfortable overnight stay at this motel and no doubt the new management will work hard to keep guests happy as they learn the ropes here.

This is my second visit. The first time I had to change rooms because my air conditioner did not work it was hotter in my room than outside. They change rooms for me which was great. On my second visit I asked for a room with an air conditioner that worked. They gave me a room in which the air conditioner kind of worked, TV remote not working because the batteries are flat and the entire remote was tape up with sticky tape. The place is under new management and I believe that they should look at there rooms and fix them up if they want my business.

Excellent motel, I can thoroughly recommend it. Staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Room was very clean and tidy and decor was up to date. I can recommend this motel. It is also very close to shops and restaurants easy to find for "out of towners".

Firstly, a calm and quiet hotel and second, the bed was more comfortable than my previous stay at the more expensive Quest at Uni Hill! Great staff, clean & affordable on a budget. Happy to share, I'll be back next visit from Nth QLD.

This motel is excellent for short stays. Close to shopping. Food places and all within walking distance if you please. Reception welcoming and ready to help. Very busy place as many travellers staying for work it looks like. See tradies with their crew. Always a bottle of wine to drink or take home in room. Nice surprise.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this property. I was pleased before but this time the heat in the room was not adequate. I was disappointed but I thought I would give the staff a chance to fix it. The front desk staff is excellent and she took steps to fix the heater Also more blankets were sent to my room. The heater was fixed and I am happy to say that the staff made the stay a success. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay in this part of Melbourne.

Overnight stay for a friends dinner. Staff were friendly as always and the room was very clean. I've stayed a few different times and each time I have no issues. The hotel is in a good location and you can't hear any street noise.

Despite the convenient location to this area our quality of stay was well below average and therefore our rating. The $174 a night which was charge prior to us even arriving, is a high rate for the quality of accommodation that is provided. We hardly had any sleep due to the other "guests" that were staying at the motel on the night we stayed. There were 6-8 groups of guests that were staying at the accommodation in what we would say is a Government funded overnight stay. Whilst we have no issue with this, the problem was placing those guests around full fee paying guests whilst those guests sat outside their rooms and smoked most of the night. Our room stank of the smoke and we lost count of how many times these guests slammed their motel room doors and open and closed car doors. Working in the Social Services industry we have experience with homeless or at risk of homeless clients and whilst it is commendable that the hotel may participate in providing accommodation it should NOT be done to the detriment of other guests. Please look elsewhere if you are after a clean, modern stay in the outskirts of Melbourne. Very disappointing and sleepless stay.

The reception from staff on arrival was lovely; very welcoming. We didn't check in until late (10pm). After arriving at our room, our teenage son had a 10 minute shower after having played a game of basketball. I proceeded to have a shower, but unfortunately after only a minute I had no hot water. I didn't worry about it too much, thinking that maybe at this time of night they had run out of hot water. The next morning I got up to have a shower & the same thing happened. Only had hot water for a minute, & then nothing but cold. Some body wash in addition to the guest soaps in the bathroom would be appreciated too. We turned the A/C on as it was a warm night. This worked well but unfortunately cut out after about half an hour after we went to bed & didn't come back on. The complimentary bottle of red was very unexpected but a nice touch. Overall, a clean comfortable room. Very reasonably priced.

You cannot tell a book by it's cover. The well lit sign is set on a hill where it can be seen from the busy expressway not far frthe Golden Arches. You wonder what the motel looks like and one day you try it as I did. My first uber in Melbourne. It was a very pleasant experience where was picked up in a nice warm car and dropped off at the motel after a long day on public transport. Checkin at reception and the room number wasn't to my liking, so it was changed. There was no hassle in doing so and my room was great. Spacious, light, bright and well appointed. Large walk in shower with a good spray a generous supply of hot water and towels. Flat screen tv and small kitchenette. Complimentary bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon 2015. I'm in heaven. 'Fly in the ointment' I wasn't given the wifi password at checkin which meant a walk in the cold, wet darkness to reception and a gap below the door letting in cold air. Just crank up the heat pump. Perhaps a draught stopper next time and a better approach when checking in customers management. Otherwise a flawless stay. Well done!

Great stay, great service, internet not great but everything else was. Staff were extremely helpful and the room was spotless and really well laid out. Would definitely recommend to other people if needing a motel in this area of Melbourne.

Only a 20 min drive to Melbourne Wholesale Markets from Motel. Rooms are adequate, clean and quiet. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice treat. Tea and Coffee provided and even a couple of biscuits too.

Will definitely stay there again. Was extremely impressed to be gifted a bottle of wine for me and my partners romantic getaway. Only an extra $20 for a spa bath. Can't go wrong. The staff were lovely and quick

Stayed here overnight as we went to see a show in Melb. The only good thing about it was the breakfast. Heard traffic all night, there was only a thin blanket on the bed which wasn't comfortable, hubby and I froze, even with the heater going and a 2nd thin blanket on. Heard people down in the back rooms yelling in courtyard carpark from 5.30am which kept us awake until they left at 7.30am, nothing was done about their yelling! Had a spa and the jets kept coming out.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions. The location is terrific. Shopping center and various eating places are very close by. Easy for me to get around to family's and friends. The rooms are always spotless. I would highly recommend this motel.

I booked for my husband to stay via expedia with the accommodation to be paid directly at the property. 5 days beforehand I cancelled ther booking directly with the property and was told all ok. When checking my credit card statement i realised I had been charged $167 - the room rate. VCard when i called today i was told bad luck, i needed to cancel via expedia. Nothing they can do. I pushed back and said that wasn't communicated on the day I called and cancelled direct and they said it is my fault. Stay away unless you want to be ripped off. This is nothing more than theft and I am not happy. Don't support businesses that treat customers like crap.

My room was a decent size the bed a fairly comfortable. I found the staff friendly and easily approachable. The only complaints I had was that the tiles around the outside of the shower were dirty and there was a small amount of food on the wall in the dining area. Rooms were serviced daily.

We stayed here for one night while we got new carpet put in and it was a great little room. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good, the heater worked well and we had a tv and a little kitchen area - everything we needed. We had no complaints and would stay again if needed

We had to be at Ringwood and Donvale on Saturday and then Doreen on Sunday so, rather than do the big drive from home both days, we decided to stay overnight near Doreen on the Saturday. This motel seemed to be the closest and offered a 2-bedroom unit so we booked it. It's off the Plenty Hwy in a courtyard setting and is very quiet. No traffic noise and no noise from the rooms on either side of us. The beds were good and the pillows were okay so we both had a good sleep. That is, until 6am when the first lot of travellers left. What is it with people who leave early that they feel the need to talk at the top of their voices and slam room and car doors ? Just ignorant, I guess. Then, at 6.30, three people felt the need to move their car about 2 metres back from where they had parked earlier (and were still supposed to be parked). This complex operation apparently demanded that, for 15 minutes, the two guys had to yell instructions at the woman driving and that she yell back at them. Given that they were parked next to my car, the sound of metal crunching got my attention. Fortunately, she'd driven forward !! into a metal pole supporting the covered walkway of the motel rather than into my car. By then, I was wide awake. Thankfully, rather than experiment any further with their stupidity, they abandoned the car, retired to their room and were silent for the rest of the morning. This is a pretty basic motel. The unit was chilly when we arrived but the heating soon sorted that out. The sofa in the main room was intensely uncomfortable. However, our unit was spotlessly clean and it suited our requirements. It was appropriately priced at $170 and was close to our Sunday destination. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant, Four Doors, which was recommended in an earlier review of the motel, was only 200 metres away and we had a great dinner there. Nextdoor to it is a Lebanese restaurant which was also very busy. Oddly, despite everything, we'd happily stay at the motel again if we need to be over that way in the future.

Spent one night here last week and it was more than adequate for the price. Great bed, tv and shower. I loved the complimentary bottle of red wine too. There were unfortunately a few blown globes in my room and when I tried to pull the blind down the whole chain came off in my hand. Minor negatives though. I'd stay here again when in Mill Park

Thus is the second time I stayed here. Very welcoming place in a great location. Wslking distance to a few great places from fast food McD to a fine Turkish place Roxy Kebab. Short drice to shopping. I will be back.

We have stayed here before and we will stay again, last time we had a very small issue and it was dealt with very fast, this time we had 2 small issues and the service was excellent. We had Fast food and Hotel for meals ,car wash, supermarket and service stations all near by. Very happy with the dealings we had with the staff. Thank you for a relaxing stay once again.

Clean, good location and typically ordinary for a peripheral Motel. Only 20 minute easy drive to the new Wholesale Markets at Epping. Would stay again. The free bottle of wine was a nice touch and the fridge was well stocked.

Very quiet, clean, pleasant set up room, all you want from a motel. Staff were efficient and polite. Motel was situated close to shopping centre and fast food outlets. Will definitely stay there again. Would recommend to anyone who needs to be in that area.

I stayed here for one night after a few days camping and it was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. Nice size rooms with a sofa and good facilities. They even chucked in a free bottle of wine. Much welcome respite from being on the road.

We run a small business and often have to accommodate our installation team of guys away from home, usually they are also driving a small pantec truck, so onsite parking is important. Generally we're looking for good value for money, offering a good level of the creature comforts, where they're close to good eateries - we all like to be treated well in the food and beverage department. This property ticked all those boxes. The managers and staff are very friendly and obliging in their dealings with the clients, we recommend booking direct they were very informative and sent us good detail to enable the guys to find them and book in without hassle. A bottle of red wine was kindly given to each room as a bonus (it was much appreciated by our team). The feedback I got to pass along was excellent in regard to sleep quality. Rooms had been fitted out well with all that was required. We had a team of four men staying so they were booked into two family rooms which offered a queen bed to each plus an additional single bed in the second room. Food on the first night was marred by their decision to go to the local La Porchetta Restaurant. We can now say not all the food in Melbourne is wonderful, that place was absolutely dreadful - they said the only good thing about it was it was open on a Sunday evening! The night after they found "4 Doors Restaurant" and were delighted by both the "real Italian family run service & atmosphere" and the food was simply fantastic!. Try the little homemade cakes they suggested. Thanks again for a terrific stay, we would recommend Best Western Mill Park Motel to others who may be put off by what they read in some of the less than kind reviews - there is always another perspective :). For our purposes we would give a score of 10 out of 10, it may not be the romantic getaway we would dream about but very practical, clean and comfortable.

What a terrible experience staying at this motel. Cold showers on first night, limited WiFi in the room and then to top it off, our car was broken into on the second night. The Manager couldn't understand why we wanted to report the robbery to the Police. There is no lights or security cameras around this motel. We reported the robbery to the Police and then went to Mill Park Police Station to get the car dusted for fingerprints. My partner lost her Nav Man, Car manual and a number of other things. I lost my clip on sunglasses. See attached photo of where to go if you get robbed.

I will never stay in this motel again!! After a recent stay I was attending a wedding and left my handbag and wallet in the room whilst I was at the event.A large sum of money was stolen while I was out from my wallet.There has been no compensation by management even after a police statement. I do not recommend this motel!

The rooms are very comfortable. The motel is close to train and trams to the city. There is a Westfield shopping centre with all major retailers and some good cafe's. A short drive to a DFO and great restaurants as well.

Nice place, approximately 1h away from Melbourne downtown. Simple structure but very clean. Tipical motel style. Spacious rooms, large bathroom with standard furniture. Close to a speedway, with some diners and McDonalds in the surronds. Good solution price-value.

Enjoyed staying at this motel. First thing I noticed is how clean the rooms were. The bed was very comfortable. There was a complimentary bottle of wine for those that drink. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Towels were changed daily. I would definitely return.

We ventured to Melbourne to visit a friend in the Northern Hospital and looked for a motel near by The Best Western was the closest and the easiest to access We booked a double and on arrival we were allocated a family two bedroom for the same rate. We stayed two nights and rebooked for 4 days for two days later We had a king room but as we had the eldest grandson we asked to be moved. As they were full they could not accommodate but made a family room available the next morning. Told us we could put our cases in and the room would be cleaned by lunch. Came back to a spotless two BR unit Nothing was to hard and I would recommend

We stayed for 3 nights in May 2017 in a 'Family Room'. The room was extremely clean and tidy with lots of space for a family. Price included free Wifi which was awesome for Facebook etc. but very slow and would not load YouTube or similar for my daughter. The only downfall we found for the family room was it was lacking a few items that would have been very helpful with kids (i.e. a chopping board and sharp knife, a microwavable container, a can opener etc). We also found the room very cold. We ended up with the heat pump on almost 24/7 or my 2 year old who wont sleep with blankets froze overnight. Overall a great stay and we will be back next time we are visiting the area.

This Motel was clean and comfortable with spacious rooms. Mini Bar in room, Restaurants nearby and a comfortable bed. Overall quite good value for money. Also close to a major road but quite within the rooms.

My husband was omitted to the Northern Hospital and at the last minute I needed to find somewhere to stay. I rang around (late on a Sunday) and had trouble even getting anybody to answer their phone. I needed a two bedroom as my father was with me. The owner was extremely helpful and was able to accommodate us and even helped with a decent rate. I think she could hear the desperation in my voice. Was able to park the motor bike trailer into a bay, so that was important. My dad was able to walk down the road to get some food when I headed back to the hospital. In the morning I need to get some supplies and there was a Woolworths within a couple of minutes drive. Room looked like it had recently been upgraded so was very bright and clean. Had a good nights sleep as it was so quiet. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped overnight to attend a wedding. Very spacious with a separate room for kids and clean which is what we needed. We didn't buy any bar items but they were reasonably priced for a motel. Price for the family rooms was also reasonable.

Location is good Service is average The rooms are poorly designed! We booked the family room it is ridiculous.. no privacy at all.. the room inside opens to another room and the bathroom is shared. One of the rooms didnt even have an electrical outlet nor air conditioner. I didnt like the housekeeping... not clean... we left towels for few days on the floor to change them! they didnt! we had to tell them! I wont go back again. Sorry

We came for a wedding and chose this motel for its location, it was perfect for our needs, the welcome was genuinely friendly and helpful and all the staff we met where great, the room are well appointed and clean and we'd happily stay here again.

Highly recommend, so well appointed, clean, comfortable, quiet & well priced. I have now stayed twice & would go back again, stayed in different rooms, so roomy & has kitchen area so well appointed. Friendly team.

Surprised at the size of the room - very spacious with small "kitchen" area, usual kettle and bits but also a microwave and toaster and some cutlery. Sofa one end and spa bath in the corner. Bed very comfortable and rooms very quiet. Good breakfast in the dining room but it seems they may usually prefer to do breakfast in your room as no-one else was there. Sadly not a lot of smiles from the staff, but maybe they were having a sad day and night. Food over at La Porchetta over the road good value but VERY noisy.

Excellent service (with a smile) from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean and comfortable as was the bed. We did have a small issue with light over the vanity which I mentioned on our way out (after hrs.) and returned a short time later to find it fixed (that's good service). We did have a problem with the spa also but I didn't mention that till check-out and I would assume that would be seen to as well. There are plenty of fast food, takeaway, restaurants and a hotel nearby. Other shop as well as DFO 2 mins down the rd. It was a good location for us and it was nice to return to after a busy day. Thankyou to housekeeping as well. A well run venue Thank you, we will return.

Really nice and clean hotel rooms. Nice location with walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Car parking just outside the room. Nice staff and good service. The only negative we could think of is the shower. My husband is rather tall so the fixed shower was a bit too low for him. Nice and quiet place. Thank you for the nice welcome.

Great little motel, nice and quiet. We had a family room, queen bed in main area and two singles in seperate room, comfortable beds, great rate through Wotif. Lots of eating places nearby, definatley recommended.

Was in Victoria for a family wedding. We had a family room which I found very comfortable and spacious. There was a queen bed in the main room with a sofa bed as well. The second room also had a double bed with a single. There was ample room for us. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. What impressed me the most was that we left the room on Saturday morning in a rush to get to the wedding on time and left the rooms untidy. When we got back after the church service I was very happy indeed to find our rooms had been made, the bathroom cleaned but also our clothes were folded and put on our suit cases neatly not only that but our pj's were also folded and placed nicely near our pillows. I have not experienced this yet. I was very impressed, so thank you to the personal who took the time much appreciated. I would definitely return again one day. The heating all rooms was ample as it did get very cold during the nights in Melbourne.

Rude man in reception on leaving. My son handed the key in and he was rude and used the wrong tone towards him.. Asked my son if we used the mini bar which we didn't and I told him to say we hadnt... then he said to my son rudely "you better not have".. Then he came rush out telling us we haven't paid... which meets had done months prior to arrival... A COMPLETE RUDE .. I'm not allowed to use on here what I would like to call him.

We stayed in a family room which consisted of a queen in the main part, with a sofa, table & chairs & TV. The main room also had a kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave and sink. A full length mirror was a handy addition. The second room is separated with a door and had a double bed and one single bed. The bathroom had the shower, toilet and small vanity. Bathroom slippers and toothbrush packs were among the usual toiletries supplied. A bottle of Shiraz was complimentary on the table. There was a well stocked mini bar for those who might use it. Free internet was a good speed. Very handy position to local fast food restaurants and other restaurants. Short drive to the Westfield Plenty Valley Shopping Centre. Plenty of parking, and we noticed a spot for smokers outside (not that we are smokers). Very clean and comfortable staying wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We found the hotel late at night and received a friendly welcome. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious We did not participate breakfast or complimentary wifi This was highly suited for a business trip for the three of us We will stay aGAIN.

Room was wonderful, well appointed and bed comfortable. one problem, the freezer in the fridge was all iced up and needed defrosting. also there is a conference/function centre associated with the motel. if you went out during the day or evening and came back the people at the conference centre had taken all the parking spots that really should have been intended for the motel patrons. twice I came back and the managers of the motel had to either move cars themselves or get people in the conference centre to move their vehicles. and this happened to others staying at the motel as well. the conference people should be told to park at the library next door and leave the parking for the people actually staying in the motel. Also take note that breakfast is not included in the price of the room. breakfast is available in the conference/function area but at an additional cost and it isn't all that cheap. from memory a full breakfast was $25. Lots of restaurants close by within walking distance. My room was located near a spot where smokers gathered and this was annoying a couple of times late at night when I was in bed.

We visited the new wholesale fruit & veg market in Epping and this motel was close. Our room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice and there was a kitchen sink and fridge also. Parking right outside our door was very convenient. Easy to find with lots of food options in walking distance.

Nice Clean spacious rooms , free parking, free wifi, close to food places, price good. Owners very friendly and polite. Free bottle of red on arrival. Stayed several nights over several weeks, always felt safe

I have stayed in this place a number of times. It was always very clean and tidy. The housekeeping staff do an exceptional job, they are some of the best in the business. The owners are very friendly too. I will definitely stay here again.

I agree with most reviews. Is clean quiet and comfortable. Is not 5 star but is value for money. The kitchen /restaurant was not open but there is plenty of food nearby. I'll stay here again if in the area.

stayed here on my way to Malbourne. it shows on line that they have kitchen but they have nothing except some cups and wines, insulation is very bad so u can hear ur next door all night long, dont have to mention people and cars right outside ur room. its overpriced for what u can get in this motel.

There isn't much to chose from in North Melbourne but Mill Park motel proved an excellent base for my 3 night stay in Melbourne. Ciaran the owner was super helpful and friendly on check in and suggested interesting places to visit during my day playing tourist. Room 19 in the far right corner was large with three beds, well appointed and clean and quiet. The master bed was very comfortable. Also shaded from the afternoon sun. Parking is easy and right beside the unit. The hotel is close to shopping and food. The only downside was the wifi. Although its free, in my unit - furthest from reception, the reception was patchy.

Easy to book in and to find. Extremely clean room and bathroom, with every comfort one could desire. This is the standart that all motels should strive for. Friendly, helpfull Staff. Many, many thanks. Looking forward to our next stay.

I booked into the king spa suite while staying in town visiting friends who lived close by. The room was massive, with a luggage bench upon entering, kitchenette, very well priced fully stocked mini bar & fridge, 2 seater lounge, corner closet, king size bed, small table with 2 chairs and a corner two person spa. The ensuite bathroom was roomy and had a toilet, basin and large shower. Good quality and extensive array of toiletries are provided, including slippers. The large screen tv was on a cabinet opposite the bed. I loved that the room had a split system air conditioner and the large window could be opened, allowing fresh air. The window also had a privacy pull down blind and a total sun block out blind. Although the bed had great quality linen, I found the bed was not very comfortable and I woke up sore. The spa was comfortable however no spa toiletries were provided (ie bath milk etc). There were plenty of convenient power points. Free wifi is included and I have full mobile phone reception. There was also plenty of free car parking. Across the road is a service station, McDonalds and most deliciously, La Porchetta Italian restaurant & pizzeria (highly recommended, great value & amazing quality!). A full shopping centre is only a 3 minute drive down the main road. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great motel if you want to be in a quiet part of Melbourne, however you would need to be dependent on public transport (the motel is located on a main arterial road) or vehicle. This location suited me perfectly as I wanted to be close to my suburban friends. However notably it is at least a half hour drive to St Kilda or Essendon or the airport. So depending on your priorities, it is a great little oasis.

Trying to find a reasonable hotel in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne is a difficult task. The best Western in Mill Park fits all the criteria, Single level large rooms with a large clean bathroom, well stocked bar fridge and free wifi. Car parking right to your door and a comfortable bed. The check in was quick and easy and the manager was very helpful. The Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and is easily accessible from Plenty Road. When ever I am back in Melbourne this will be the place to stay.

I stayed at this Motel for three nights over Christmas and found it to be well worth a mention. To begin with, it's easy to find, far enough off any main road to be quiet and peaceful. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with good quality basic amenities such as bed linen, bathroom accessories etc., well stocked bar fridge, good A/C, TV, , small dining table and chairs. I did not use the restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. Not the sort of place to go if you are looking for luxury board and lodgings, but ideal for someone like me, just wanting somewhere quiet and comfortable to come to at the end of a day spent with noisy family and children celebrating Christmas etc. Add the fact that it was very reasonably priced at such a busy time of the year.

This attractive Motel is located off Plenty Road so very little road noise. It has plenty of greenery, good park spaces, well equipped, pleasant courteous hosts and rooms are clean airy and comfortable.

Nice and clean place to stay. The room I was in was next to a tree that had an unpleasent odur. Would stay here again. No Free WiFi Did enjoy the nice clean bathroom, strong hot shower. Thanks for that :)

Stayed here while visiting family . The rooms are of a good size with a small kitchenette including toaster , bowls, cups, plates and cutlery. We had a back room which was very quiet. Inside is absolutely spotless with a good comfy bed and large bathroom . A compliment ry bottle of wine made you feel comfortable with the highish price. The only real negative was that the outside and gardens are a bit grotty and need a good clean up. We will definitely stay again

This hotel is in a good location close to shops and restaurants, the lady in the front office was very polite and nice, the mattress was probably a little to my likening, but i would rather that than soft. the room we stayed in was very clean and nice if looking for a one or two night stay just what you need. Did not get to try the food so i can not comment on that but overall had a nice stay

Strategically allocated along a popular road connecting the airport to CBD. Quiet place.Staff very friendly and respectful. The reception area has a rich collection of brochures about different cultures, oh and a fridge you can run to in case your room runs empty. What a caring place!

We stayed in one of the king spa suites it was clean and modern looking but when I went to the toilet I discovered the door doesn't close due to water damage so I had to try and sit with my foot against the door so it wouldn't spring open. They also have some hot water issues they have tried to rectify with a sign explaining the hot water may have to be turned off and on again if it's cold so it can be reset but this happened less than two minutes in the water went freezing and I had to turn it off and on while covered in soap. We also discovered the clock radio didn't work when we tried to set the alarm just before bed a quick call to reception got the new alarm delivered quickly but my partner yelled out 'coming' to the door knock and the man at the door obviously heard it as 'come in' and promptly opened the door which left us feeling a little awkward considering I had no clothes on. For the first time ever I also woke up cold in the middle of the night. No doona. No otherblanket on the bed. Overall a bbeautiful room ruined by small problems that really shouldn't happen. What a pity.

Rooms are big and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly but the room is very simple and basic... Showers are not the best and the bathrooms are huge and clean, but strangely no space for shampoo, razors, brushes or anything. Worth staying for one night when in the area but for the price don't go out of your way to crash down here, particularly not for more then one evening.

We recently stayed at this motel and found it to be quite, clean and very comfortable. The Family room has plenty of space to stretch out with the separate bedroom for the kids. The staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
