"Friendly and helpful staff"
D M, 02 Août 2018

On the outskirts of this charming village, the hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a pleasant swimming pool with a terrace and garden shaded by olive trees. We had a couple of problems but they were fixed by the ever helpful staff with great courtesy. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

"We were able to return and loved it here as much the second time"
Tom c, 03 Juillet 2018

This is not the fanciest hotel you will ever find, but it is wonderful. As we pulled into the driveway, my wife and I both thought, "we're home". Rooms are large and air conditioned. Second floor is best but all rooms are good. The bed is very comfortable. There is a pool, bar, breakfast, patio for relaxing and enjoying the Provence countryside. TV has a channel or two in English. The hotel is very clean and well-kept. Next time, I do want to play some of the board games (in French--Clue would be great). And the staff is the best part. All are very friendly and helpful. They speak English well, but are patient and helpful while I try to use my French. This is one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. It is in the country. To reach the nearest train station or airport would require a car or a fairly long taxi ride.

"Business Trip to France"

The hotel is clean, comfortable and the stuff es very friendly. I have only two improvements to suggest, a better breakfast and a barbecue area. Especially when you are staying longer than a couple of days, this would make a difference.

"Almost perfect"
LsaKingswinford, 04 Juillet 2017

Beautifully kept, relaxing, welcoming staff and great location being a short walk into the small town. Enjoyed a dip in the very well kept pool - such a tranquil setting. Had breakfast there on our first morning. Ok. A little expensive but options close by. Would have preferred an upstairs room. (Non available). We stayed for 3 nights and would recommend.

"Wonderfully comfortable hotel in beautiful setting"
Tom c, 28 Mai 2017

Aurelia was the best place we stayed on this 3-week trip. I highly recommend spending time here if you are exploring this part of Provence or if you simply want to spend a couple days relaxing in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms (we stayed in two different rooms) are comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us and our suitcases. The beds were great. TV has many channels, a couple in English, some in German, some in Spanish, most in French. The rooms and the whole hotel is very clean and quiet. The pool area and terrace and gardens provide a relaxed spot to enjoy the beautiful weather of a Provence spring day. Even though the hotel was full, it was rare to see many people around. At all times, it was quiet. The room prices are very reasonable. Breakfast included many options including bakery items, fruit, cereals, eggs and cheeses and meats. It is extra, 12.50 Euros each. Each of the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. I try to speak French, but the staff is quite good in English. I think that there are staff members who speak Spanish and German also. My wife and I are very appreciative that they found us a room for one night when we were rather desperate for a good place to stay. Then, after I mentioned that we would love to spend another couple nights here, they called me as soon as they had a cancellation so that we could spend 2 more nights.

"Lovely place to stay."
Nick S, 13 Avril 2017

We stayed here for 5 days and had a super time. Everything was perfect. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. There were facilities for making tea and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. All the staff were hospitable, kind and very helpful. Most can speak good English and that of course is a bonus for non French speakers. The breakfasts were very good, with plenty of choice and plenty to eat. The bar is a bonus and was open for most of the day. Sitting on the terrace and soaking up the sunshine in the late afternoon, with a glass (or two!) of Leffe was very enjoyable. The grounds are being refurbished but what has been done is to a very good standard. It's better value than most hotels in Mausanne but don't tell too many people or we won't be able to return again! It deserves to do well. The staff are wonderfully hospitable. Top marks for everyone and everything. Thank you.

"Excellent place!"
Ambar S, 04 Janvier 2017

Very chilled out place with decent size (not big) hotel rooms and a friendly staff. The pool is perfect and adds to the value of the weather, in the summer. The restaurant is very basic with a small bar but the town is a walking distance with plenty of good restaurants. There is a very nice brunch place right next to the hotel. The lawn upfront in very big and a very nice place to sit and enjoy the weather.

"great value, nice staff, clean rooms"
tkl112, 17 Juillet 2016

We stayed here one night on an extended trip to Provence to go to dinner at Bistrot du Paradou. The staff spoke English really well and were friendly. The room was clean and rather large. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and had a good shower. We went into the pool for a short amount of time. It was clean and nice and there were numerous chairs to sit in the grassy area outside of the pool. Overall, this was a great choice for our short stay and a great value for the area.

"Great value for money, quiet and relaxing, fantastic location."
Francois000, 02 Juillet 2016

Confortable room with air conditioning and separate toilets. Beautiful garden (great to enjoy at breakfast time). Helpful staff that did direct us to nice restaurants. (BTW you won't starve in Maussane, there are a bunch of excellent restaurants, and surprisingly in this region also with good value for money). It's such a quiet place, a bit out of time... The location is ideal to discover provence, starting with the Alpilles, but you may also drive to Cassis creeks in 1h30, or to Camargue beaches in 45mn. Will come back!

"One of better hotels in our 40 day trip"
CathieLS, 15 Juin 2016

Nice size room with desk. Separate toilet from rest of bathroom. Tub/shower combo. Bathroom lighting only fair. Small refrigerator. Queen size mattress on the firm side (which is typical in France). Room temp controlled by hotel and whether one has A/C only or heat only depends on outside temperature. Large window is able to be opened to cool off room. Internet fine for browsing. 3 English channels on TV. 2 floors - no lift. Free parking. Excellent breakfast: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, breads, cheese, meats, juice. Non-smoking rooms available.

"Conveniently situated, great value-for-money hotel."
willit99, 01 Octobre 2015

A comfortable hotel (as you would expect from Best Western) with friendly and efficient staff, especially Sandrine who was most helpful when we needed it, Thank you. We used the hotel as a base to explore many of the surrounding towns and villages although Maussane itself is a pretty village with good restaurants and bars. It is also only a few minutes stroll from the hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

"Relaxing"
sole_gaido, 25 Août 2015

The hotel was matching the beautiful environment of this wonderful areaof Provence. It was rustic and simple but counted with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and spoke in English. The breakfast was varied and complete. The pool was necessary for the hot summer days so that's an added value. I would definitely stay again in this romantic hotel.

"Nothing special but acceptable"
gmaso, 09 Août 2015

We just asked the GPS to find a hotel near Orange and this was the one we chose. Just an average motel with average rooms but the staff was very helpful and friendly even with our broken French. They even recommended that we be sure to put our car in the back lot which had some (limited) security as it was a bad area. They also said they didn't recommend the restaurant next door and accessible directly from their lobby although it wasn't really that bad. Included breakfast was fairly good and their Wi-Fi worked OK. We didn't use the pool but it seemed to be popular and was fairly busy. The hotel is popular with bus tour groups.

"Nice French country hotel"
turkeyMiami, 26 Juillet 2015

Last minute choice and we were satisfied. Reasonable in a little remote area between Arles and Aix-en-Provence.The front desk lady was very helpful and pleasant. Rooms nice and breakfast very nice on the terrace.

"Excellent hotel, can't fault it"
Andy C, 07 Juillet 2015

We stayed for 5 nights and were very, very impressed with the hotel. The location is excellent, walking distance into town for lots of restaurants and central for anywhere in Western Provence. The room was large and comfortable with good facilities, the internet is very fast and reliable, and the breakfast was worth going for alone. We would definitely go back as it was ideal for a touring base, the staff and facilities were great and the price was cheap for what you get.

"great location"
Suz1884, 20 Juin 2015

This property is ideally located at the entrance to town but pretty far off the road; so very quiet at night. Unless....you are disturbed by loud frog freaking (which we loved), then ask for room towards back. There is nice patio (just be aware you can't bring your own wine, but we could eat our snacks there), they do offer beverages - alcoholic and not. The pool and lawn areas are beautiful. The pool is very clean, not heated - refreshing after hot day on the road. Rooms nicely appointed and beds/pillows very comfortable.
