Best Western Plus Mansfield Inn & Suites

Where do you start a 1 star review? 1- When we first walked in I immediately went into the bathroom to wash my hands. The sink would not drain. When I called the desk to tell them they said wait a couple of minutes, it'll drain, 2- The 3 drawer dresser with a broken drawer, 3-lamps with eco bulbs too bright, and scratches at the base of the lamps, 4-scratches on coffee table, 5-scratches on desk, 6-bathroom with a Dollar Tree shower curtain, 7-walls painted like a high school bathroom, 8-scratches around frame of mirror and edge of door. 9- TV STUFF, you're lucky if you can get basic TV channels, the “FITNESS ROOM” TV & REMOTE are absolutely useless. At first their crappy remote didn't work, so the desk clerk put new batteries. It still didn't work, so after playing with the batteries it worked, but it couldn't charge channels or volume, and wouldn't shut off. 10- Don't use the fitness room towels, they're like rubbing your face with sandpaper . And lastly, I walked down the hall for ice and I noticed the carpet had stains all the way down the hall. 11- The absolutely grossest thing was when I went down to get a snack in the lobby, when the elevator door opened, someone low class idiot spit on the elevator floor, and it was still there by 10AM the next morning. Amazing as it sounds the mattress and pillows were comfortable (although we were scared to remove the sheet to check for stains & bugs. It's obvious, a simple fix. Hire more staff, pay better, train better and it couldn't hurt having a reliable manager on duty at least 16 hours a day. My advice, don't trust the TRIP ADVISOR APP. For Mansfield, Texas, search at least 4 star other hotels in Mansfield. The Hampton inn looks good along with the holiday inn. Both near us.

The pricing was great. We booked 4 rooms we stayed for an Anniversary Party nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, bed was so comfy. We didn't get a chance to eat breakfast, however, my son and his family stayed here with us and they said the Breakfast was great.

This hotel really impressed us! The breakfast was actually tasty and hot, the room was very clean and the bed, pillows and linens all clean. The bathroom was also clean and santizied. They have like automatic air freshners thru out the hotel which was nice cause it didnt stink....smelled really nice. Overall impressed with this hotel as it was a good clean facility. Right off the freeway to easy on and off.

Very nice staff, food was great, pool had a lot of chemicals but was still fun. Smelled of hemp or weed in elevator. Only downfall. Smelled of weed next to staff only door next to elevator too. Beds were REALLY comfy.

We travel often and have stayed in many hotels. Best Western Plus in Mansfield was clean, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again next time we come to Mansfield.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and appreciated that our room had maid service every day. The breakfast looked good, although we didn't have time to eat. It was nice to be able to walk to Walmart.

Was there for a conference. The location was close to our conference location. Staff was very friendly and professional. The facility was clean in the lobby as well as in the rooms. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are clean and spacious. My favorite is the free breakfast that is just wonderful. A wide selection of items that are fresh and tasty. This is our second stay and we will come back again. Just love the Waffle Maker!

This place is very clean staff was friendly Up to date and modern Location is easy access to freeway and major stores Walmart is right behind it and Popeyes Chicken right next door Only thing that was inconvenient was the ice machine is only in the main lobby or 3rd floor Lobby very clean hallways very clean as well

On check in, front desk clerk was "snooty" and acted like it was a problem checking me in. The next afternoon, a different clerk was asleep at the desk and snoring loudly. Other guest were wanting to check in and a housekeeper had to wake the clerk up. This had been about 30 minutes after my first notice they were asleep.

Room was clean but dated bathroom was bright and clean with plenty of towels, to much noise on the ground floor from the carpark, breakfast was very poor no coffee no cereal no pancake mix , eating places close by also Supermarket

Microwave did not work. Air conditioner could not be adjusted to desired temp. Person at front desk had no knowledge of how to repair/adjust items not working. Definitely never stay there again. Lucky I only needed to stay one night.

This is hotel refuse to reimburse is me for stay. After they admit their employee did not inform me of cancellation policy. They also refuse to reimburse my dad after he tried to cancel 2 weeks in advance.

The jacuzzi never worked. The front desk was very pleasant and said they'd look into and send someone down. They never did. When we checked out, the front desk apologized for the hot tub not working and said they would look into a partial refund for the room charge. After we drove away form the property, the front desk called and said, "Hey, housekeeping checked that hot tub and it works. I can't give you any kind of a refund." So, if you don't mind being called a liar...at least the bed was comfortable.

Found 2 roaches in our RestRoom washer & dryer did not work 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed there,big inconvenience for us softball traveling families.Previous guest left a hole behind the door unfixed

Very nice hotel, great location and easy to commute between Mansfield and Midlothian if needed. I would choose a Best Western for my travel needs anytime. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We never had any issues and most of our days were long, tiring and coming in late, needing to get rested up for the next day. Sleeping in a quiet hotel is essential my my travel.

Checked in Friday May 20, 2022, there was random hairs and random rollie pollie bugs near the tubs. Saturday, May 21, 2022, breakfast was limited. The pancakes come out on this assembly line convection oven type machine that taste like the bag of Walmart pancakes, the eggs were filled with water, and the sausages undercooked. The pool was nice and the jacuzzi had a bandaid in it. Sunday, May 22, 2022, breakfast was the same, ew. Stayed in, rested, and made the room less messy for the cleaning attendant on checkout day. Placed all towels, trash, and extra bedding outside the door. Monday, May 23, 2022, same breakfast and a roach ran across the counter top from the cereal bar to the sugar/cream stand. Cleaned room and checked out. Around 12 PM, I received a call asking about a pillow. I advised the clerk that it went out the day prior and to check the cameras for proof. The attendant (female) stated okay, hung up, and proceed to charge me $15.00. Extremely dissatisfied and pissed about my money.

It's a nice place but they do charge an extra $75 fee that is refunded but still I never been charged something like that breakfast was not that great room wants ready when we checked in had to get switch to another room

After reading the reviews I booked one night at this Best Western on the BW app. The price with tax etc displayed as just over $100; $89 without tax. I inserted my credit card and was asked to approve a charge of $175! What? They have a $75 “deposit”! Nowhere was this disclosed while making the reservation. Having spent 7 nights at BW branded hotels on our 21 day road trip this was the first totally inappropriate charge I'd been ask to approve. From the attitude of the woman at check in, I have no doubt they would have kept that “deposit”. We left! We planned to drive back to Houston but as we reached Waxahachie we stopped at the Holiday Inn Express where we were welcomed without a $75 “deposit”. Do yourself a favor, bypass Mansfield altogether.

It was a great stay. Clean. Only complaint was waiting for the front desk person to come back to the front desk to sign us in. Waited for a little while. But overall, it was a good stay. I would stay there again.

The room was immaculate. It was clean and very well maintained. My check-in was quick and painless. I was so pleasantly surprised with condition of the room, the amenities included in the room and care taken by staff with all facets of the upkeep. The housekeeping staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Entered the hotel to check in and no one was at the desk, waited a few minutes, yelled out hello a few times, still waited and finally someone came out but didn't apologize for keeping me waiting, checked me in and sent me to a room that wasn't ready. Went back down to get another room assigned, no apology for the inconvenience and was given another room which was fine except the body was, shampoo and conditioner were almost empty and I barely got enough out to use. Around 9pm the fabulous guests above me decided it was ok for their kids to run around, stomp, jump off the bed, etc. An hour later, I called down to the front desk to complain about it and they said they would "look into it." It didn't stop and by 11pm I called done again and wasn't as nice. She offered to move me (once again) and I declined stating it is her job to deal with it, she said she would but nope, another 30 minutes of rudeness from the guests above.

Don't stay at this location. It has the worst customer service and the manager is never on duty. The distance manager and owner will not call you back. Don't waste your money at this priority. At total disappointment and the companies customer service is no help.

We have been staying here for several months and the service, from customer service and especially housekeeping is impeccable. Harry and Priti Patel are the sweetest most helpful employees I've come across while staying in hotels, and I have stayed in many over the years. They clean everything not just straighten.

There were so many lady bugs everywhere that my husband and I said forget this called front desk didn't budge to come in and help just handed us another room key and said enjoy other room dirty. No help not satisfied dont stay there

I often stay at BW Plus because I travel bac and forth from south Texas to Amarillo. I know that BW+ always has a room for me. I know the quality of the room is excellent and I will have a good night of rest and peace.

Totally messed up the reservations by giving the wrong type room to my guest that I had paid 2 nights for. She and her daughter got a King when I reserved two queens. They kicked her out after one night in fact, came to the swimming pool to kick them out. There weren't many people staying at that hotel, you'd think they could have gotten the reservation correct all the way around! Plus cold breakfast.

Good location with in the town, easy access to the highway. You can use the side street to get out to the highway. The hotel was well lighted for arriving at night. Great and friendly staff. The room was quite and relaxing.

The room was very dirty and smelled very bad they only allow you to pillows per bed and refused to give another hard to understand how bad the service is let alone having a room that smells horrible! The reviews that are excellent and good must've been paid by the hotel or something because it is misleading

The hotel and service was great. The location of the hotel was in close proximity of several restaurants and highways to get around. The room was nice and roomy and the hot tub in the room was a major plus

We were very impressed with the overall appearance of this hotel. It was extremely clean. The rooms was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was tasty for continental style. Good job everyone.

Property looks like recently renovated, big rooms and beds were really comfortable, gotta really good sleep!! Also their indoor pool was perfect for family trip. Loved their breakfast, got variety of options!

The breakfast at this hotel is not great. We've had much better breakfast before at other hotels. It is a tad bit expensive for what you are getting. However it is clean and very close to Arlington which has every thing you need. It was fine.

We spent new Year's Eve with friends in Mansfield and chose this Best Western Plus because of the affordable price, free breakfast, and proximity to our friend's house. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little too firm for my preference and there was quite a bit of traffic noise, as our room was facing the highway. We turned on the fan on the AC/heater to help drown out the noise and it helped some but I still heard the traffic. I did not get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy. The breakfast attendant was very attentive to keeping the breakfast area well stocked and clean. The food was good and service was great!

This hotel has been updated. The staff is attentive. The rooms tend to be polished clean. Nice location. Easy in/out. Breakfast is standard. No healthy options, no single serve yogurt, no egg white anything but there is usually fruit.

Overall fine. Nice size pool and hot tub. Nice patio outside pool area. Need more chairs/tables in the pool area. Staff was ok. Not overly friendly or anything but fine. Definitely didn't make me feel like an appreciated guest or anything. Wish they had board/card games you could check out during your stay like other hotels have. Room was average. A little pricey compared to nearby hotels but the rate dropped 2 days in a row after I made our reservation. Was able to cancel and rebook at the cheaper rates.

Quick over night stay due husbands day surgery @ hospital for following morning. The staff was very friendly with fast check & out. Our room was on 2nd floor & as soon as we stepped out of elevator there was odor. Thankfully not in room. Shopping is very close along with restaurants. Overall great deal

We are currently living a nightmare "staying" at this property. When we first arrived and went to our room #206, it smelled bad, kinda like mold. We went to the front desk to ask for a different room. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She told us there was nothing she could do, the property was full. We asked her could we just switch hotels, she said sure, but she would not give us a refund. As an update, we have been given a different room. The room smells better, but it still smells. I would never recommend staying here. After this, Best Western would be my last choice. I am a Diamond member.

This is a really nice clean hotel in a great spot. The girls on reception were very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool was nice, the laundry a real added bonus and worked really well. The room was very clean and spacious and the complimentary breakfast was just the ticket. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Most hotels are rated based on their accommodations. This hotel was not that.it was nice and clean, but they had way too many rules 1) No BBQ-ing 2) Not allowed to eat in the dinning room outside of breakfast 3) No late check out Staff was nice though. My loyalty is normally Marriott hotels and i originally had booked with them but our team had blocked rooms here so we went ahead and stayed at best western. I guess Marriott has me spoiled

Great Experience started when I called in at 11 o'clock at night to advise of late check in front office was super nice about it and told us not to worry and to be safe then when we came in after midnight she greeted us with a smile and checked us in as fast as possible. Front Lobby Great Ambience as soon as walked in! Super Clean. Room just as impressive! Great location..within walking distance to Walmart, Chic Filet and Popeyes and only 10 minutes away from our destination. Housekeeping super nice and breakfast thumbs up!

Great Hotel, lady named Corinn who checked me in has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. She Single handedly made the experience gloomy..... If I owned this property I'd Fire Corinn..when I told the woman checking me out the next morning, she said others have had similar issues with Corinn...

We found the front desk crew helpful, friendly, and polite. The main attraction here may be the indoor, kid-friendly pool. The breakfast was tired. It lacked real butter and offered instant coffee. Rooms were reasonable, including a couch, though protruding closet was a bit awkward.

The front desk manager was extremely rude he was obviously not a fan of a single working mother bringing her daughter. He did not inform of us breakfast or pool times and rolled his eyes at every question

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the room! Except for a few slamming doors and people talking while walking down the hall, I never heard a peep from above us or next to us (and I know there was at least one toddler in the room next door). There appeared to be a kids baseball tournament in town so I was prepared to hear noise and was relieved when I didn't. The room was very clean and a nice size with very comfortable beds. We had a queen suite on the first floor to the left so I would recommend asking for one of those rooms - on the end opposite the pool. The front desk employees were pleasant, and we were greeted every time we came in or strolled through the lobby. I enjoyed the breakfast. The area was clean and well-stocked with variations throughout the three days we were there. The internet took a few minutes to connect, but once we logged on, there were no problems (me on my phone and two boys gaming away on their Switches). The two downsides...it was difficult to order a pizza! This is not the hotel's fault but the employees at Domino's (literally on the same road a few blocks away but claimed not to know where the hotel was) and Papa John's (never answered the phone). The front desk offered a couple of suggestions. We finally ended up with Pizza Hut. The delivery driver seemed very surprised that I tipped him? The other downside is the pool and the poor parenting I witnessed. I understand that the hotel is not staffed to have a lifeguard but I did not notice any staff checking in to observe the area while I was there. We went to the pool several times during our stay and on two occasions on Saturday, I pulled my boys out and left due to the other people there. SO much screaming and the rules (no running, no diving, no jumping) were flagrantly ignored. On two separate occasions that day, there was a small, unattended child in distress (hands in the air, face underwater, glub-glub) at which point a parent or guardian noticed right as I was about to jump in. I probably should have said something to the front desk, but I chickened out. Otherwise, the pool was nice, especially when we had it to ourselves. Guests were greedy with the pool towels, so keep that in mind. In conclusion, I was pleased with our stay and recommend the hotel for your future travels :)

Plan to hear lots of slamming doors and hearing what your neighbors doing or saying. Take Earplugs! small rooms. no chair to relax in clean bathroom and plenty of towels. clean bed and staff was ok, didn't care about complaint.

Kids were ruuning around and hotel staff did not do anything . they were all over hotel lobby breasfast area .next time be mindful and respect others trying to sleep.hotel overpriced because of school tournament

My husband and I stayed at this Best Western for 1 night, after attending a party nearby. The minute the sliding doors open the smell of clean permeated. The lobby area was very clean. We were great by Lupe, who was very friendly, and helpful. She even offered us makeup remover since we had halloween makeup on. She gave us all the information about the place. We arrived at our room. The place also smelled clean, was nice and cool. The bed- OMG! Absolutely awesome, very, very comfortable. So were the pillows. Especially the pillows, if they're not right, it makes my night hell. The products were also great, nice smell and the lotion was nice and thick. They have free breakfast in the morning, but we didn't stay. We grabbed some orange juice, which I was impressed with it was nice and strong not watered down like in other hotels, my husband had the apple juice. We were absolutely pleased, we would surely stay there if needed again and would recommend this hotel. Everything was perfect.

Only problem i had was internet and wish price was a little cheaper but other then that room was clean and didnt have any problems while checking in or out but ifbu want a good spot to park better come back a little early

Excellent place, staff, amenities, easy access from the Hwy, several restaurants nearby and shopping convenience. The staff is very informative, friendly. the maintenance always stay on top of issues also keep up the maintenance on the indoor pool and surrounding area. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Had a king suite. Good location, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet room. Great night's sleep. What more could you ask for. Would definitely stay here again. Happy to recommend this hotel to other guests!

IT would take seriously just one thing, get your pool to a proper temperature. Ive never been to a pool that was this hot. I had to remove my kids because they might have a heat stroke in there. usually a pool is somewhere you go to cool off in the heat and enjoy yourself. Get some exhaust and maybe air conditioning. ill be back next tourney to see if you even make the slightest change. Some other guest said it was the same last time they came. Maybe the manager should take care of this issue before doing further changes to his rooms. It would be nicer to have a pool to sit in than a renovated lobby, for real. i didnt get any enjoyment sitting in the lobby on my phone after my sons games. for 140 dollars and amenities that could cause harm to me and my family, not worth. fix fix fix.... if you need a pool watch the heck out you might have a heat stroke in the summer.

If your here for work and need a super secure line on the net, AVOID. All else is great. pool breakfast rooms employees. I'm hope they fix the internet so people who work for government are able to do so without worries. had to go onsite to avoid security issues to be safe.

Overall 9 out of 10, the rooms were clean & comfortable, the staff was friendly & helpful, common areas were clean & nice. The location is great, right next to food places, Walmart, & gas stations so you dont have to travel far to eat or grab last minute items.

We were the for continuing education. The hotel was extremely easy to find, with very nice curb appeal. The welcoming team checked us in promptly. Basically everything was a 10 except the there was a little bit of a musty smell, which a few air freshners would take care of. Thank you very much for your hospitality

Traveled on red-eye from LAX to Texas when grandmother was admitted to hospital in area. Needed immediate hotel room around 7:30am (without reservation) to check in for sleep. Calmly explained emergency situation to very young front desk agent. He clicked on his computer and provided a certain room at a certain rate. Said he would need to charge me extra for early check-in. Fine, I asked what it was. He then proceeded to call his manager to talk to her in another language that I was not fluent in. During the 10 minutes or so his conversation was taking place, he was clicking on his computer and kept providing me with a different price point and a different room (always higher price and higher room category). I was uneasy, but said okay, and then there would be more conversation in the different language with his manager followed by him saying, "actually, we have such and such room at this price." I was going on 30-something hours without sleep and provided my credit card. I walked up to the room finally assigned and the door was very flimsy upon walking in. Had an immediate unpleasant scent in the room and I had overwhelming sense of unease. I walked right back down to front desk and calmly said I needed to get to hospital, had to leave and would not be staying. Front desk agent was perplexed and said I would need to wait to talk to his manager who was not reachable by phone - the same one he had just gotten off the phone with. He said he would still have to charge me $163.17 since I checked in (literally 4 minutes ago). I said "that's not right, but you do what you have to do and I'll take it up with Discover." I explained the case to Discover, disputed the charge, but the charge was just now reinstated by the hotel. The whole process smacked of dishonesty, bait and switch, etc. etc. The hotel seemed very nice from the outside as far as quality, but inside room was a definite sense of inadequate cleaning, poor sound control from highway and other rooms, and after the check-in situation, a deep feeling of concern of lack of privacy, security, of untrustworthiness, etc. Were my reactions impacted by overtiredness? Possibly - but it was an instinct I couldn't ignore that wasn't worth any amount of money. I then went down the street to a Hampton Inn where despite being overbooked, they worked very hard to accommodate me and I ended up staying for 4 nights.

This hotel was in a safe neighborhood, located centrally between Fort Worth and Dallas. There was a Walmart nearby along with plenty of restaurants, gas stations and easy highway access. The breakfast was good and varied daily. We did need to ask for items to be replenished a few times, they were quick to comply. The beds were okay. The pull out couch was not comfortable and was squeaky. Upon arrival, we did need to wait a few minutes for them to finish getting our room ready, even though we checked in well after 5. Housekeeping seemed to take some time to complete their tasks, given there were multiply evening we would see the cleaning carts in the hallway and hear vacuums as we were preparing for dinner. On our last night housekeeping s end to be running behind because our room was not as prepared as it had been the previous nights.

We have stayed here several times. Very clean and updated. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Employees are very nice. Great breakfast. Close to restaurants and shopping. There is a Walmart within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place. No complaints except for not having shower pressure when trying to take a shower. Otherwise a great stay. Will stay again but make sure that the shower works first. Would recommend to others.

This hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean and every appliance worked well the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. The pool and spa area were well maintained and clean.

For this level of hotel this is a good place to stay. For me it is a convenient location to some of my customers. The price is on the lower end of comparable hotels in the area. The breakfast is pretty good too.

We complained 3 times about noise but I guess they couldn't catch the people slamming doors and running through the halls all night long. I had an issue with the smell in the room and even though my husband smelled it too, it bothered me more than it bothered him. Both my husband and I did not sleep well at his hotel. We will not stay again.

Nice room. Easy access to the room. Comfy beds. Great breakfast area--they were in the process of a remodel and were finished 3 nights later! And we loved the Texas shaped waffle! We stayed 2 nights, in the same room, but 3 nights apart coming and going to Canton for my daughter's wedding. .

This location is in a nice area with convenient access to the hwy. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. They were doing some remodeling while I was there, but I wasn't inconvenienced at all. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. Several of my family members have stayed here before with the same sentiments. I would stay again the next time I need to be in the Mansfield/Arlington area.

This hotel is not new. I looks like it has been recently redone. There is nothing wrong with the facility in reference to looks or cleanliness. But the price is over the top. I was literally shocked. We stay in BW in National City CA that is far more desirable than this one. In peak season, the room rate is still under this hotel. Just down the road, a room cost half the price. Something needs to be done about room rates.

Perfect spot for girlfriends getaway. Hotel is nice, clean and very reasonably priced. Good customer service too! Room was big and bed was comfy. Nice areas in the lobby for sitting, drinking coffee and catching up. Also felt very safe.

This location worked out good for us. I was very satisfied with the staff. The rooms where large. Indoor pool was nice. Hotel is being re- modeled. However, this was not a problem. Will be even nicer once finished.

The bedding is awful. It feels like you're at a Motel 6 or worse. One sheet with an itchy brown blanket. There's nothing nice, cozy or anything to make the bed feel like home. The air conditioner is loud. It cut in and off over and over no matter what temp it was set too. There wasn't an option to have just a fan on. You will want the loud a/c to run constantly to cover up the loud traffic as you try to sleep.

Dollar for dollar this is the best value in the area. Clean rooms that are very comfortable, a very good breakfast, a very friendly staff and located next to McDonald's and Walmart. I plan to visit again.

My fam came to escape Hurricane Harvey. We came stressed, and scared, and with lots of dirty laundy. The minute we walked in, it was a construction zone. The floor is ripped up, halfway put in and there's sheet rock dust everywhere. The hotel is filthy with construction scraps all over the place. I needed to wash loads of laundry abd the facilities were under consyruction and not working. Ice machines not working...in my opinion, it should not be open if it's being rennovated. 1. All amenities are not available to customers 2. It's a danger zone. 3. Wreaks of paint This is ridiculous, for paying over $100. Checking out after 1 night. MAJOR BS

Hotel is being renovated with workers all over the first floor. There were no working vending machines. And part of them were all moved together for the renovations. The room was clean with plenty of room.

Microwave did not work, sofa bed was broken, shower did not drain well , chlorine in pool and hot tub was strong, pool was freezing cold and breakfast was not great. Pm staff was not helpful when you could find someone that is

A great place to stay at great wifi every one there are so nice and friendly. Rooms are big nice beds and everything else. Nice pool and work out area. Can't find anything bad about this place. Go and find out for your self

I have stayed at this location several times. The employees are very pleasant, this hotel should be a standard setting location for plus locations. Overall my wife and I really love the location (very easy to access highway, shopping and eating establishments. Thank you for the great places on my busy birthday weekend.

Great , is a good place to stay great location with many eating , and shopping places very close by ,,, can't really go wrong with most of Best Westerns any way very good hotels , I choose them for business and pleasure ! They have good staff , rooms , pools and hot tubs !!!

I was in Mansfield for a multi-week project and bounced around several properties. Overall, I found this one to be the best and kept coming back! The staff (Shane, Tina, Dipty, Ken, etc.) were all very polite and considerate and great to deal with. The breakfast was more than enough to keep a dieter in-check, but also had scrumptious options for those weak moments (oops.) The rooms were clean, stocked, and the beds were very comfy. Even though I was on business, I could see bringing my whole family here and they'd have a great time in the pool which appeared to be lots of fun. Location is also great with easy access to US287; close to the lake and lots of retail/dining nearby.

We stayed here for an extended stay, and found the hotel and the room very good. Hardwired internet is a plus if you need to do online work. Breakfast had some variety during the week, which is great if you stay more than a couple of days. Coffee and tea were available 24/7 in the lobby, and the pool was kept at a good temperature. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This was better than other Best Western Plus hotels we have stayed at - we wish the others had been this nice.

First of all, I dint expect I can get this type of hotel in Texas, but it was really a good experience. I have a lot of professional work to do in my room and to be honest, I dint have any noise issues, it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

I loved the cleanliness of the corridors they had, the rooms were very spacious and OMG the breakfast had so many options including sausage, sausage gravy and eggs. Me and my friends enjoyed using the indoor pool, this hotel is a complete package.

I just found out I was asked for a review and didn't even stay there. My stay is supposed to be July 7, 2017. I'm sure I will still be billed anyway and that upsets me quite a bit. Please respond if you can

My stay here was excellent... from the service down to the staff!! I will be staying here every time I'm in this area. I thought the room was going to smile bad..due to it being pet friendly. VERY CLEAN AND FRESH

Breakfast timing is 06:30 to 09:30 yet I was able to have it before 6 am. Better than best.!! :) The front desk agent at the time of check in seemed too smart as we just took less than 2 minutes to check in.

The room was alright the staff wasn't to great and breakfast was sub par. The hotel has a weird smell that kinda reminded me of a retirement home. At arrival the front desk was not in clear view of the desk so we had to ring a bell. Once we received our keys we went up to our room where it was very humid and had a sticky feeling. This was the first Best Western that didn't have a white comforter. Instead we got linens that had the scratchy texture. During breakfast the coffee dispenser was not working and the staff didn't know how to solve the issue. I usually have high standards for Best Westerns but this one let me down. I'm planning another trip to another state and hope this next Best Western doesn't let me down.

Room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Housekeeping sprayed something that helped. Shower didn't work very well and the lever to turn on the shower was almost impossible to raise/lower. Pool was not very clean.

We found friendly staff, lovely rooms, and much -needed laundry facilities. There was shopping and some dining places near enough to walk. We found parking near the entrance and the elevator was just inside. Breakfast was available, and they also offered some grab and go prepackaged bags which I thought was a nice touch. There had been rain and thunderstorms the last several days. My surprise was finding a sign posted on the elevator door recommending the use of stairs in case of power failure. My brother has had a stroke, and that was not an option for him to get to the third floor. We had no power outages while we were there, but I thought it was interesting that the note also stated "no refunds or discounts due to outages." So if I checked in, power went out, I couldn't take a hot shower or do any of the other things power allows me to do, I would not receive a refund? I didn't see the sign until after check-in, maybe that should be disclosed before signing my name? No problems, we had a lovely stay, just interesting. Maybe things are different in Texas...

We were visiting relatives in Eastern Mansfield and this hotel is very convenient. It is a quick on/off from a major highway and is on a corner with restaurants and a gas stations. Downtown Historic Mansfield and nice parks are an easy town drive a couple of miles away. Broad street provides a relatively fast access( five minutes) to hwy 360. We used a rural route West to access hwy 35W. The hotel itself is modern and clean with excellent staff. The hot breakfast was pretty good. The pool walls could be cleaned a bit. Next time we come to this area we will stay here again as the weekday price is fair. We didn't stay on Saturday as the weekend price is inordinately high.

This was surprisingly the best rated of the few hotels in the Mansfield area, for the price. It looks nice from the outside. The front desk attendant was very nice, but it took a while to find a room for us because we asked if there was something on the top floor on the side away from the highway. She set us up in one room, then looked at the map and realized it was on the highway side, so looked for one on the other side, asked housekeeping or someone if one was done yet, but someone else had already reserved that one. So we got the highway side one. I posted a picture of the hotel room map. There are different odd smells in each area of the hotel, we found. Like disinfectant with whatever they were trying to remediate, maybe. It is a non-smoking hotel, but apparently wasn't always. The room smelled like a 1970's motel room, even though it was reasonably updated. We opened the window to see if it would improve, but it didn't. I don't know if that qualifies as second-hand smoke, but those with high sensitivity to that type of thing should find somewhere else to stay that was never a smoking hotel, if possible. The room was otherwise clean. The highway noise is very loud on the side with the odd-numbered rooms, which faces north east. Choose an even-numbered room if you can. They have window air conditioning units and the fan is very loud and does cover up a lot of the road noise, except for the loudest trucks and motorcycles. The parking lot light right outside our window was bright, and the black-out curtains didn't prevent it from shining through the outer edges on the sides. This, combined with the smell of old cigarettes, made it difficult to sleep very well. When we left in the morning for breakfast, 2 police vehicles were parked near the entrance, and were still there when we returned from breakfast. We don't know what happened that required them to be there. We would not recommend this hotel or stay there again.

It was okay. Pillows were really small. Pool was good. The hotel was a Little dated. Staff was friendly. A little concerned when I saw a typed note on the elevator that said if there was a storm - they could lose power - take elevator at your own risk

We reserved 2 rooms (both kings). One room was good (although pretty humid in room). The other room however had bugs in one of the corner ceiling and in the bed and on couches. They looked a little like flying ants maybe? They did get us a new room however we didn't sleep well thinking there may be more bugs.

I have stayed over 200 nights away from home, this is a Great Hotel, Great rooms... Ken, the overnight man was So Pleasant, this is 1 of the top 5 hotels I have stayed in this past year...this area of Arlington have grown so much so you have a selection of hotels to stay in but you should consider this Best Western in Mansfield. The motel is very nice. I have stayed there several times and am pleased with the service I received. It is very good for the price. I will stay there again if needed. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

In general, this is a decent hotel and good value for the money. But, our bed was VERY firm, almost uncomfortable, the sofa back was filthy, possibly from hair grease or sweat. Not sure which, and I didn't sit on it! The hot tub did not work properly, 1/2 of the jets were inoperable and the other 1/2 were so powerful you couldn't sit in front of them. Definitely needs maintenance. Breakfast on Sunday was great, food was good and service was excellent. Monday was the opposite. We arrived at 8:45 am (they stop serving at 9:30). There was no food other than very runny/watery gravy and a few pieces of sausage. No attendant in sight. We were able to make waffles, but when we finally found an employee to inquire about the rest of the breakfast, we were told there would be no more food brought out, period! She was semi-rude about it as well. Not looking for the Ritz or anything, but I do like a clean room and if you offer up breakfast, you really need to make sure food is available all the way up to closing time!

Hotel great but rude night staff. Turned out the lights while kids were in the pool in order to lose it for the night. Did not have access to more pillows which I found absurd and besides that, showed no accountability or apologies for it; acted like he didn't care.

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was convenient to our event. Apparently, there was a huge softball tournament going on at the same time as our regional basketball tournament, and lodging was limited. I was not disappointed with the hotel or service that we ended up with. Both desk clerks were very friendly, courteous, helpful, and all smiles!

Stayed here for a softball tournament at Big League Dreams. Friday - Sunday Its nothing really special. So I am not sure of the PLUS part of Best Western, also it is my first time at a Best Western. The beds were soft and could feel the springs. The lobby is pretty empty no place to really hang out with other guests. I assume if there is a pretty big tournament going on this place could get noisy. We heard some people in the halls, laughing and doors closing. The rooms did have a lot of space for several suitcases and bags without being cramped. The bathroom had a lot of space as well. The hot breakfast consisted of biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, and eggs. Seems like they warmed it up in a microwave and set it out, no warmers. Some fruits and breads were offered as well, a couple juices, the orange juice was watered down. The frontage road is one way, so I drove through the Wal-Mart parking lot to get to the other side of the highway for more restaurants, also access to the highway northbound to go to other restaurants and the theater. Once you get how to access to go north and south on the highway, going places is easy, but there is also a several restaurants within walking distance. Overall wasn't great, but wasn't a bad experience, just average, the location made it better for us. Seems like the chain hotels in the area would be about the same as this Best Western. But if the prices are similar for your budget there is a Fairfield Inn not too far, I am familiar with the Fairfield chain and would give them a shot.

Good stopover, everything you need from a Best Western. Wi-Fi was good, lifts parking and the breakfast. Asked for a quiet room as the last few have been noisy. We got a room facing the freeway!. Slept fine though as it wasn't that noisy.

Great hot breakfast with large variety of sweet rolls, fresh hot eggs & a variety of breakfast meat that changes daily. The breakfast area is large & accommodates any number of guests without being crowded. The large comfortable room has a good-sized bathroom which us not cramped. The king bed was comfortable however the tiny pillows were terrible. The in-room refrigerator did not work & we saw them wheeling another one out of another room that must have been on the fritz too. Excellent location to many places: dining, Walmart, nail salons, gas & shopping. Very accommodating staff.

My husband and I had to come into town to take my mother for a medical procedure. This hotel was in a perfect location for us and work out great with the times for her procedure plus we got a great free breakfast.

Stayed one night, room is typical for this quality hotel. Breakfast "hot" items were lukewarm. We mentioned this to the worker and she went off on us saying no one has EVER complained about the food temperature and no one has EVER gotten sick from the food. So be warned, I'd stick with the make it yourself waffles or cold items.

Very satisfied with overall experience with this hotel. Although the room was a maroon color which made me think that I was back in the 70's this location was great. Staffing took care of my every needs and I really liked that fact that I had express check out.

We needed a group of rooms for two nights for a wedding at Aristide in Mansfield and this was the perfect location with easy access. Very clean, very quiet (top floor, back of hotel), very friendly staff, great hot breakfast buffet (eggs, sausage, Texas shaped waffles, biscuits, gravy etc). We got the suites so we'd have room to visit and so the sink and mirror would not be closed into the bathroom, since we had multiple people sharing rooms. They had free parking, free in room wi-fi that actually worked, free breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Good area close to shops but pricy be prepared to pay for convenience. Quiet. Accessible and clean. No lingering smells. At least with this location you know it's clean. Go for it yall. Try it and order a pizza or just stepped next door to Popeyes chicken .

This hotel needs a serious renovation and thorough cleaning. Upon entry into the hotel there was a very strong and unpleasant odor. The building and room was dark and dank and the furniture was torn and dirty. Because the odor in the room was so unpleasant, I purchased scented candles to abate the odor. A dirty dry washcloth was left in the bathroom. To make matters worse, management left a written message on the elevator after a thunderstorm indicating that using the elevator is at a person's own risk and refunds would not be granted for power failures. This gesture was cavalier, unprofessional and lacked in concern for the guests. It seemed as if the hotel management was more concerned with legal protection and its monies. Given the fact that there are no full service hotels in the area, the Best Western could do better as being a viable alternative. I never felt comfortable sleeping at this hotel. Stay at your own risk.

The hotel is well managed and close to Big League Dreams and the Mansfield Youth Baseball fields. Lots of restaurant options are near by. I would have given an Excellent rating had the laundry machines been working.

Checkin was at 2 showed up at 3 rooms still dirty changed rooms, pool was great not enough pool towels. Great location for walmart and couple of fast food places. Better tasting breakfast than most others. Good 2 night stay.

I have styed at other competitor hotels for a much lower rate and much better amenities for 20% - 30% less. The hotel seemed under manned and chaotic. Only one person behind the desk, chatting on the phone, describing room rates, while a line of people are waiting to check out and manning the breakfast area. The evening clerk was never around. The walls are dirty and marked up. I noticed dried Mud in the elevator when I checked in...still there the next day. No coffee in the lobby area. As a Best Western Rewards member, I expect a copy of my receipt under my door. I asked the clerk why they didn't provide my express check out and he said I have to ask for this service at this hotel. Pathetic.

For some reason the suites were less expensive than the regular rooms! Note to self: In the future check the prices for suites as compared to rooms! This one was very nice and spacious, quiet and comfortable.

Stayed here a Thursday and Friday night. Check in was quick and easy, check in person very friendly. They had 3 luggage carts available which we utilized one of them. Stayed on the 3rd floor on the backside of the hotel. The king suite was nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable. Walmart and Popeyes within walking distance. The only negative I have to say is the wireless internet was slow

Picked this Hotel based on the TripAdvisor ratings and the status as the number two Hotel in Mansfield. The Hotel is located conveniently on the southside of US Hwy 287 just past N Walnut Creek Drive on the Frontage Road with easy access to and from the freeway. Surprisingly, the Hotel turned out completely different from what we expected. The service was poor - check-in clerk unfriendly, uninterested and not helpful. The one luggage cart the Hotel has was no-where to be found and no help was offered. Luggage cart still missing in action @ 8 am the next morning. Cleanliness poor - Room carpet not vacuumed, thick dust between the pieces of furniture, carpet in the hallway very dirty with visible debris all over it, elevator floor unswept with lots of visible dirt and debris, pool cloudy and towels strung all over in the evening, rechecked at 8:30 in then morning and still the same. Sleep quality poor - very noisy from the freeway with little sound proofing. The Hotel is very close to the freeway, with just a small parking lot between the frontage road and the Hotel. Poor mattress comfort. Breakfast poor - choices ok, food quality, presentation poor, "hot food" cold. eggs rubbery, etc. food spilled by patrons around the serving area not cleaned up. No attendant visible while we were in the breakfast area, therefore no cleaning of the food area, spillage or the tables and no refreshing of the food. Fruit consisted of one brown banana, two small shriveled up oranges and a number of small and old looking apples. WiFi spotty, dropping in and out. Cost was $129 per night + taxes AARP rate, for a total of $146.89. Not a good value for what is offered. I really don't know how they get so many 5 star ratings. Analyzing it 46% were written by members with just one review. Must have been a number of infrequent travelers that were enamored with this property. The Hotel is located next to a Walmart, Popeyes Fried Chicken and a ChickFilet.

Room was spacious but the wifi was so bad!!! Could not even check my emails without a minute of lagging. The channels didn't work and even when I complained they did nothing to fix the problem. I would not ever stay here again!!! It was an overpriced mistake I won't make again!!! $112 of disappointment.

We had the best time at BW, the rooms were clean and very spacious, pool and Jacuzzi very clean and very relaxing no worries... Breakfast was delicious!! Staff was helpful on anything that we asked. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, when I want a stay in town vacation with kids BW is the place to go. The kids enjoyed the pool since it's indoors anytime any weather we were in there having fun.

great place for a team w families to stay..had the whole place to ourselves! common area for pizza after the night games outdoor patio for outdoor seating during the day. laundry pool and exercise room all did the job

This was a great place to bring our family. The Queen Suite rooms were spacious and the location was excellent for visiting family and shopping. Plenty of restaurants and events for things to do. Facility was clean and the pool area was a big hit with the children in our group.

Nice hotel, good staff, pleasant stay. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel to others who may be staying in the area. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool and spa were very enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. Made us feel right at home upon check-in. The breakfast bar was very satisfying. Rooms very spacious and very well kept. In a great location, just minutes from the Parks Mall and many restaurants. Next time we visit for Six Flags Over Texas we will definitely stay here again.

My review that I observed was excellent. the staff was very poliet and was pleasing to what you ask of them. Keep up the great service that you all are doing. Thanks for the complimentary breakfast and bringing up the baby crib. I enjoyed my stay and the next time that I come back to the area, this hotel will be my first consideration.

The staff was accommodating. The first room #104 appeared clean and comfortable. However the wasp taking up residence in the curtain thought so too. Trying to chase him down and kill him led us (the wasp and I) under the sofa couch. This is where the two condoms were found. Needlessly to say at this point I asked for a room change, to room #219.

i would def come back again i loved the big Jacuzzi next to the bed, very clean and very nice staff, loved the pool and the fitness area and the breakfast was very good also. im definitely gonna recommend to all my friends

The staff here is A+. They are very welcoming and courteous. The rooms were clean and neat. The breakfast was great as was the indoor pool. It was a great place to stay. The location is fantastic with several good places to eat within easy walking distance.

The hotel staff was great! Hotel is in a great location. The room was nice EXCEPT for the Bed and Pillows...SUPER FIRM!! My husband said it was like sleeping on the concrete floor. My back and neck hurt for 2 days afterwards!!!

Hotel Manager really went the extra mile to offer the best prices and excellent service. Great and friendly staff. Make you feel just at home. Rooms are modern, great flat panel TV, excellent location near shopping malls and main highways.

I made reservation on Jan. 19, 2016 and my availability for cancellation was stated on the 18th. This is one day before I made my reservation. Also no discounts for Seniors . I do like the location of the hotel because availability to freeways and local restaurants.

This hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous. This hotel is also pet friendly. The room and linens were spotless! The bed was extremely comfortable. A small pet deposit is required. If you are staying in Mansfield Texas, this is the place to stay!

Have stayed her 3 times and love staying here. Hotel team members are very nice and helpful. Only thing that would be better is to have bacon on breakfast bar . But if you want a good quite hotel that is clean and treat the guess vey good this is a great place to stay.

Came to TX to help my daughter find a wedding dress. Booked 4 night stay. The day I arrived my mother passed. I needed to leave 1 day sooner in order to attend her funeral. They would not give me a refund. Since my daughter moved to TX I travel there frequently. 1st & last time I will stay at this hotel. Hotel is nice but if you choose to book here do not stay on highway side of building. Felt like trucks were driving through my room. Wouldn't have written this if management had given me a refund due to the very sad and unexpected circumstances. Shows no compassion. $$$$ Greedy.

A newer hotel and the staff was very friendly. My king bed was very comfy!! Located ina prime part of MAnsfield, easy to get anywhere quick. Breakfast was lacking a few items I think. Im a rewards member at about every chain. I was frustrated that I did not get reward points since I booked through Priceline. 5 nights.. Still a good hotel and would recommend to others.

You can expect great quality when you stay at this location. It is quiet with easy access to Walmart if needing any last minute supplies, all amenities work they serve a consistent high quality breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this place.

The hotel was centrally located. The room was comfortable. There were warm choices for breakfast, scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. There was an inside pool and small exercise room.

This Best Western Plus Inn offers a comfortable stay in a good location. The hotel staff were courteous, especially staff in the breakfast buffet room who was very helpful and courteous. Room 119, was roomy and the beds were comfortable. However for some unknown reason, we were given a room with a wheelchair accessible bathroom. It did not have a shower curtain nor shower door, had low shower water pressure, and did not have a place for your soap or shampoo in the shower. Despite this, overall this Inn is recommended.

Excellent place to stay, nice clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Also good priced shuttle service to and from game. Enjoyed staying at this Best Western. Everything and everyone was very satisfying during stay.

The house keepers were amazing!!!! my over all experience was great front desk was friendly and accommodated my needs!!! It was nice to stay at a property where staff makes feel at home!!! I would recommend this hotel!!!

Used hotel to prepare for my only daughter's wedding. Room was very spacious and bed was roomy and comfy. Although the AC unit did not get as cold as we wanted it to, but at least we weren't too hot. The shower mechanics was weird as this was a new type of system which took 3 people to figure out how to use. After finally initiating the shower option, everything worked out.

We booked this hotel after reading several trip advisor reviews. I was pleased when we checked in that my new reward member number was on file and my request for a top floor room had been honored. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and fitness room each morning. The buffet offered a good variety of tasty food options that we either ate there or took back to our room for later. Our room was very spacious and in very good condition. The hot tub was great at the end of a busy day.

Stayed here because our car broke down and this BW was within walking distance of the Walmart where our car was being repaired. It ended up being a wonderful blessing from God that this clean, excellent hotel and great staff were there when we needed it.

I had a slab leak and had to stay in a hotel for a few nights while the work was being done. The staff was very helpful, the hotel was nice and clean, the room was clean and comfortable. We had the room closest to the lobby, and it was quiet for being in a main traffic area, that was nice. We enjoyed the free breakfast, nice variety of foods available, not just pastries. At the end of the 2 days, my wife commented that it was like a little getaway right in our own backyard.

We spent one night here and it was great. The staff is friendly. The room was very spacious. Our room was up front near the highway and we hardly heard any traffic noise. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel. Overall I would give them a 4.5 out of 5!!!

I've stayed at this hotel before. Its clean hotel with comfortable beds. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a Wal-Mart right behind the hotel. The breakfast was dissappointing put that's my only negative about this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel 7 or 8 times in the past 4 years. We have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We will most likely make this our choice when we are in the area. The pool is nice year round . The breakfasts are good and kept well stocked and clean.

The hotel was second to none. It was modern and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. There was always fresh coffee. The front desk was always manned. The price was very fair.

We went there for a wedding and never been to Mansfiled I was not sure where the hotel was located to the wedding, but I knew Mansfiled was not that big, so I figured I would be good. When we arrived we were in a really nice part of the town. We were surrounded by stores and restaurants. Walmart was walking distance and we were near a chik fil a and in and out burger and a lot of other stores and restaurants and we were 5 minutes away from wedding. It was a great location. The hotel was nice. It had a king size bed and a pull out sofa in the room we were in. The only thing I was a little upset about was, we got back from the wedding rally late and were tired. As we are getting ready for bed, my son pulls out the sofa andsays mom, where are the sheets, we could not find them. So I called the front desk and you actually had to go get them. The did not store then in room. So I had to get redressed to go downstairs to get the sheets. Otherwise, it was ok. The breakfast was good also.

My stay at Best Western Plus was nice the beds were big, comfortable and room was roomy the continental breakfast was great waffles,eggs,sausage and etc.....After being at the hotel for 30 minutes there was a knock on the door and it was my sister from Brooklyn, NY she surprised us and was staying in the room across from us we were in Mansfield for a family reunion
