Gulf Hotel Bahrain

I frequent the Oak Lounge often due to its nice decor and a good variety of drinks. My experience would not be the same without Tesa the waitress, Satish and the rest of the staff there. Now that it is back open, I will be there multiple times a week.

Herath was extremely friendly and attentive! Really enjoyed him helping us out. The food was delicious. I came with my friends for iftar and had a great time. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it, we all liked it. The place was beautiful as well

Hotel location and services were terrific especially regarding housekeeping, room toilet and cleanliness including lobby were crystal clear. Very helpful and cooperating staff, I was amazed to see they have not left a single corner untidy. Everything was up to the mark, highly recommended.

Herat was such a good host giving us the best welcome experience at the hotel. The food and ambience was at par with my expectations from the best hotel on the island. The food and beverage spread for the iftar was more thab I expected. Herats contributions to the iftaar event at the Gulf Hotel were invaluable and his exceptional service made it even more great. Herath ,he provided excellent service while I was attending Ghabga event. He took care of the orders and suggested lemon mint andghabga delight shakes for the evening. The ambient was a delight, together with hospitality was superb and will come again.

5/5. Food js great, service from Akshay and Herath was great - I didn't like my over the counter Laban and they showed extra care and asked if I wanted a special order of Laban. Truly appreciate their service. This is my 3rd year coming to Ramadan tent and it has always been great.

Recently tried their Ramadan iftar, although the food was not as good as previous years in terms of flavor and variety, the service provided by the staff was impeccable, special thanks to Kshitiz Basnet for his service and assistance and being welcoming

We went to the Ramadan tent and Kshitiz took very good care of us and provided us great services even though the food wasn't the best the service was great if you decide to go ask for kshitiz to take care of you, you will leave a happy dinner. Ramadan kareem

I stayed like a few days to participate Formula 1 racing and the Gulf hotel was perfect, foods were excellent, room sevice is very fast and thank you Rabiullah he was so kind and supportive any time. I can easily advise all that this hotel is a good choice to stay and accommodation.

The hotel is very clean with lots of food options as they have at least 8 different hotel restaurants with good food. Rahul Amin was my hotel service for my room. He was very helpful and got me whatever I needed for my room. I had a great experience here at the gulf. Its location is near many nighttime lounges and restaurant outside the hotel.

Stayed there for the f1 experience. Hotel itself is large and offer tons of activities. Also has a large pool and also fitness center with many saunas and yacuzzys. Also can play ball game there. Rahul Amin did great service for the hotel room.

Fantastic staff, very friendly. Mr Jahirul from housekeeping did a fantastic job, my room was super clean and comfortable. Restaurants are very good with a wide range of styles available. Swimming pool is quite small but also clean. I will certainly stay there again next time I visit Bahrain,

We stay often here at this hotel. Amenities are great - particularly the new gyms. The Japanese restaurant is fantastic, and the breakfast buffet is a great spread. Jahirul in housekeeping is worth a particular mention - he looked after us really well, keeping us in stock with water and coffee and always with a smile. The reception staff is also great - helping us charge the phone when we forgot our charger. The manager of the main buffet restaurant is such a nice person too, even remembering my mother who was here visiting on our last trip. Highly recommend the Gulf for great value and hospitality.

I stayed at Gulf hotel for over a week on a business trip. I found the accommodations worthy of a 5 star review. The hospitality and personality of the hotel make this a good choice for travel. Jahirul in housekeeping made my room spectacular each day. Thank you Gulf Hotel.

My experience at the Gulf hotel was a very good one. Room was very clean and tidy Mr jahirul from house keeping was very helpful . Food and facilities also great , one of the best gyms I have been in and would recommend to come and visit. Can't wait to come again.

Gulf hotel (Margarita Mexicana Restaurant ) It was Fantastic night, the food so delicious, band is so entertaining staff are helpul and approachable. It's really highly recommended. Definitely will come back again.

The service was excellent. Jahirul was an exceptional housekeeper, one of the best. He was very patient, kind, and provided quick service. I highly recommend him for your housekeeping needs. The food and accommodations were also outstanding. Everything you need is conveniently located in one place.

We tried the Art of Coking with Chef Ding Chao and it was a fantastic experience. The lunch after the class along with group of participants with another friendly experience to know people from different culture. There were people from more than six cultures. Thanks to the Chef Ding and to Joann for a memorable experience.

I had a great experience at The Oak Cigar Lounge. The staff were wonderful especially Melissa , who provided excellent recommendations. They offer a wide range of cigars and their wagyu burger is one of the best in town. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and I am definitely coming back again.

Try to stay here every time I get the chance. Everything you need without having to leave the resort, but in the middle of a thriving nightlife area, of Manama. Prices are reasonable, and look out for the happy hours in the bars and restaurants. The staff will look after you nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and tidy, with the choice of smoking or non smoking

The service from the gulf hotel is very nice.i really like to stay with them.Because the staff service is very personal.that feels they more care about the guest.especially i like the housekeeping staff Mr.Ruhul Amin .He give me a wonderful service from housekeeping.He setup the room very nicely and more beautiful.

This hotel is was great and can't fault anything during my stay. Good aircon, clean and big room. Staff were friendly and polite. I didn't use the pool area so can't comment but of what I saw looked very good. On-site bar Sherlock's was good, has pool table, darts and plenty of tv screens showing various sports.

The Resturant Alwaha for breakfast is the place to be. When you go, ask for Suian. He is genuine, pays attention to detail and is most pleasant. The breakfast is of a wide variety. Highly recommended!!!

It was the time for the Oktoberfest again which took place in the Convention Center. A great variety of German dishes which tasted really good. The decoration was well done , the service excellent and the German Lasterbacher Band did their part to make sure it was a memorable event.

The room was clean upon arrival and very well maintained during my two week stay. The room attendent was very proficient and thorough in the daily cleaning to ensure the room amendities were well stocked often providing additional coffee, creamer and water. The bed was always made to look inviting. The bath linen alway fresh, clean and plentiful. I would like to thank Jahir and ensure he receives recognition for the superb job!!! Thank you.

A large hotel right in the heart of all Bahrains best restaurants and bars. Positives are the location and spacious rooms with jacuzzi baths! Negatives are the lack of sun beds by the pool vs guests and the hotel is so big parts of it can feel ‘out of service.' We enjoyed our time by the pool and in the spa. We will stay again next time we come to Bahrain.

Mr. Jahrirul was one of the staff in the house keeping a complete gentleman was always on call when ever i needed any service done, truly professional! The hotel is marvelous and the environment was completely relaxing... i spent the whole week just in a vacation spot, everything is available at the hotel and no need to leave! I totally recommend it a must stay!

Jahitul from housekeeping was amazing along with the Pool staff! Front desk was very accommodating and responded to needs quickly! Very friendly helpful and ensured my stay was effortless. Felt like home away from home and highly recommend to all travelers!

La Pergola Restaurant We had dinner to celebrate our Granddaughter's birthday at this fine dinning restaurant. The staff made such an effort to decorate the table and to ask their guitarist to sing happy birthday which made the evening memorable. The food was excellent as was the service. A shout out to Rayees Sheryl and Bedika.

Stayed in the hotel for 11 days recuperating from surgery and it could not have been a better decision for me. Spacious rooms with amazing housekeeping. Jahirul in particular made sure my room was cleaned discreetly, extra pillows for my comfort and anything else I needed. Will be back again soon to explore the lovely neighbourhood and sample Bahrain's nightlife.

Overall outstanding hotel. I especially enjoyed the Cafe Delices. The staff Rajun and Thesaluna went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They recommended great deserts and the coffee specials rejuvenated me after a long hot day. Their service is outstanding.

We came for the very first time to Bahrain. It was difficult to know what to expect from a stay on that small island, but we got into one of the biggest positive surprises we ever had. The most striking feature in Bahrain is the friendly and welcoming attitude of its people. The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa is no exception to that. Everybody in the hotel did his or her best to make us feel welcome from the very first second. Starting from the friendly persons on the doors, up to the reception, the taxi service, the team in the spa area, cleaning staff, and of course in all the wonderful restaurants: the staff is unique. They are providing high-class service with a professional and friendly attitude. We were very grateful for that and will come back to enjoy this service again. The multitude of restaurants in the hotel is also exceptional. The quality of service and food was extremely high - everywhere: breakfast, Margarita restaurant, lobby and Iranian restaurant and Taifun bar. No wish was left open. We want to say a special Thank you! to the excellent entertainment programme provided by Vivian & Alex in the Mexican Margarita restaurant and the live band in the Taifun bar. We enjoyed every minute with you! Thank you very much!

The hotel was well-equipped, room furniture needs to be brushed up though. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was stunning, lobby is beautiful. Situated a little far from the center.

Jahirul from house keeping was amazing. He kept my room cleaner than my room at home. The pillows were the fluffiest. The bed sheets were soft. The bathroom was clean and the tea and coffee was all there. The hotel has so many options for food. I enjoyed the Mexican, Iranian and Indian restaurant.

I went for dinner with friends at the Persian restaurant (Takht Jamsheed). Not only the food was very delicious and fresh but the service we received from the staff (Ms. Parween in particular) was superb, professional and left nothing to be asked for. Well done indeed!

Its was a great experience, first time I stay here during my casual trip from Saudi to Bahrain to spent some quality time along with family. From check-in to check-out overall process was very smooth apart of that I would like to say thank you to all service team they assist me very well but specially Ms. Shweta from Housekeeping, she is very helpful and amazing my kids really like her.

I had a wonderful experience at the Gulf Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. I would like to give credit for an housekeeping staff by the name of Alam, he made my room clean and make sure that the room has all what needed so I can feel like home. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.

Stayed at this hotel many times. It is iconic in Bahrain. Good location from airport, 20 mins. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, albeit there are plenty in the hotel. The hotel and the rooms are very tired now, and in the middle of July it wasn't good that the AC didn't seem to be working in the elevators or the breakfast restaurant. But it is a huge hotel with great facilities. Top marks for the gym and the pool. The gym is incredible and the pool is huge and great for families. Great service at the pool by the Ethiopian lady (sorry could not remember her name). Service was also good in the breakfast room and in Sherlock Holmes the pub attached to the hotel. That's a great venue to watch some sport and chill out. Huge pub. However, on each and every occasion i spoke to front desk on my three night stay they didn't seem to care about issues i raised - .They lost my luggage. Eventually found it in someone else's room. After waiting for an hour without it arriving I decided to call down to reception to find out where it was. Unfortunately, the phone in the room didn't work at all. All buttons just created a outgoing tone. So i had to go and sort it out by going down to the concierge and retracking the bag and bringing it up myself. The next day, i went to reception to let them know about this, plus no wifi in my room, kept cutting in and out, three meetings i got cut off, and then let them know about the room phone...just in case there was an emergency (safety first and all that). I returned the next day to say nobody had done anything about the wifi or the phone. ...and then by the 4th day, i had given up...there was no follow up..or anything. It was almost like they saw the guests as an inconvenience. One more thing...the Spa is amazing in this hotel and the spa team are polite, courteous and helpful. Whoever recruits this team should take over and overhaul the front desk...i have never seen so many noses in the air...you are working on front desk...you don't own the hotel!! So, won't stay there again, which is a shame as there are a lot of things that i liked, but front desk can ruin your mood...and the whole experience of a hotel...

Everything outstanding from check in to room service, the whole hotel is absolutely fantastic! Check in - quick and easy with the reception staff first class Food - loads to choose from and different restaurants for everyone Room service - very very quick Housekeeping - so pleasant and kind when you see them in the corridors. Staff - all fantastic, they really do help. They are very polite and just really do make the difference. Rooms - may seem just slightly dated but you can't go wrong for the size, location and price. The pools for the kids is fantastic. Great drinks and plenty of space. I have been before and the hotel didn't quite seem up to standard. This time, absolutely everything was excellent. When we I stay in Bahrain I will stay at the gulf hotel. As a team you are brilliant, well done!!!!

Excellent work all lovely all clean nice ppl very safe and great. Robiul especially was the best and diligent at his work, he payed attention to all details and made sure he was clean and helped my requests.

We have just had a weekend in the hotel and, following a previous poor experience, I was a little reluctant to go however, my wife wanted to give the hotel another try and, if my wife says so.......! In the main we were really happy, the Platinum room was great, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge and had all the facilities required. Breakfast was superb and the staff at breakfast were all amazing. I booked the lounge too and this was the really disappointing element. It was empty of people, was devoid of any decent food and service wasn't great. For food in a lounge, I probably expect more than just onion rings and arancini balls as choice of savoury dishes. In other lounges one doesn't expect to have to ask for a drink for my wife and the receptionist have to disappear to eventually come back with a spirit. No items such as ice and lemon available. All problems that are 'first world issues' however, when you pay the prices at this hotel, one does expect a certain level of offerings and service; this was lacking. Pool areas all closed too - disappointing. To finish on a high, I had contacted the hotel about my wife's birthday and the hotel delivered her a cake and fruit to our room. The differences above is why my review is a tale f two halves. Some good and some bad.

Little bit noisy in the rooms facing to the night live activity….. but incredible attention and service. Immediately the hotel's crew react with a better option solving my concerns immediately. Ali Habib in reception is the best example of what a 5 stars hotel service should be!!!! Ask for him if any issue!!

On Friday 3rd of Feb 2023, went for lunch lunch at La Pergola Italian restaurant at the Gulf hotel, We were met with the warmest welcome by the Manager Mr.Nigel Pinto with a friendly and warm smile. We were treated to a nice meal by the staff, Sheryl, Aswin, Rayees. I must also pay my complement to the chef for making our dishes so special.

This is definitely a 4 star hotel. Excellent staff, always friendly and helpful. Great WiFi, excellent restaurants, clean room, and they have a free shuttle to and from the Navy base. It's convenient to restaurants in the area and Uber is always available and almost never had to wait.

Excellent stay at a great hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The barman BENARD KIERE at the Margarita Mexicana Manama was especially good and made us the most amazing cocktails!!! Would stay again!! Rooms clean and comfortable in a good location.

This Luxury hotel is located in the trendy part of the city a short 5 mints walk to the famous Block 338 With its Cool Restarants cafes Bars and Clubs. Easy access from the airport ( short 15 mints drive ; about 4 BD) . The hotel has superb Service and excellent Staff on all levels. All are very kind, helpful and going Out of the way to assist you . The rooms and bathroom are very Spacious , very clean and disinfected daily, with very friendly and efficient house-keeping department that responded immediately to all my needs and specially thanks to Shweta Tandon and Tosin. They have a number of excellent food options which I enjoyed and especially the main Al Waha Restarant with its excellent daily breakfast , lunch and dinner buffet and extraordinary Friday brunch highly recommended . I thank to the excellent manager Jithu Barghese and to Michel , I want to thank the Front desk manager Omar , and to Katerin from Ukraine , the Restarant managed Michel and all other fantastic staff members I met. The hotel have the best gym fitness club i saw in any hotel in this city and a beautiful swimming pool with lush greenery and attractive landscaping with Many nice outdoor seating areas for meetings,eating and drinks. This hotel has excellent management which I highly appreciate and respect. I was honoured to meet personally the excellent deputy GM Hameed Ali to thank him personally for my enjoyable stay . The Gulf hotel became my home in Manama . I fully recommend it for business and pleasure .

The housekeeping is top-notch. Have travelled around the world but few properties take care of their guests like Gulf Hotel does. Dewa, one of the housekeeping staff, deserves special kudos for his service and creativity in doing the bed.

I've been coming to the Gulf Hotel for around 4 years and can honestly say I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bahrain. In particular, the staff at the hotel cannot do enough for their guests, from reception to restaurant staff and especially the housekeeping team. Sumaya takes care of things in my apartment very much the way I like and always remembers the little personal touches about the way I like things done. Top notch, thanks Sumaya.

During our stay in the Gulf hotel, the whole crew in the reception desk (the manager of the reception, Francis and all others) were so kind and helpful. Always ready to help and to make as much better as they can for us. The guys that made our room Rabiul and Dewa were also great.

I had a fantastic stay, Jahirul was my room keeper and he was excellent. My room was cleaned every morning to a great standard, he replaced my water, and dealt with a problem I had with the taps. He also showed me how to work the lights as I wasn't sure. Great service!

My husband and I stayed at gulf hotel! The room was comfortable. The moment we stepped to the reception we felt like home .Prety welcomed us with a beautiful smile and explained us everything about the hotel. The service we received was amazing we had dinner at Italian restaurant.

The hotel was brilliant, jahirul did a fantastic job at house keeping while I was here for two weeks. The food was really fantastic as was the gym. All facilities are very clear and enjoyable. I look forward to coming back again. Many thanks

This hotel use to be wonderful not the gulf hotel I use to love. I checked in almost 11pm with my sister I was told sit down we will check if the room is ready? Come on the room should be ready! Got the room every door had a seal on that corridor but NOT the room we checked in. Got in the room my sister jumped into bed after a long flight than after 20 minute room was very very hot the air con wasn't working, I called down was told an engineer will come, than I got a call back saying you will be getting a new room? By this time my sister was in a deep sleep I had to wake her up and tell her we're moving rooms. We moved room looking at the roof of the hotel, the remote was sticky the shower and bath was grubby it was just an exhausting start to the stay, than the phone rings asking if I was happy. It was terrible and stressful. The lady at checkin I think named pretty could have had better customer service. It's such a shame as this hotel was a hidden gem.

Rooms are large and clean. Location is central Manama. Service poor - keycard system was not working, concierge was not available when we checked in, reception couldn't help arrange dinner or tours, even though we messaged hotel on Booking.com the day before. Drinks are a robbery - a “glass” of cognac is 1/3 of a normal pour (incl. in other luxury hotels in GCC countries).

We stayed there around 10 days and It was an amazing experience. 10 out of 10. Professional staff with excellent attitude. Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed (Front Desk Manager) is a wonderful gentleman with a true kind and professional attitude. He made our stay super amazing. Special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim. Thanks to the warmth and hospitality of the staff at your hotel, this has turned out to be the best vacation I have had so far. Highly recommended to everyone. You don't need to go anywhere for food and entertainment. They have around around 9 or 10 famous restaurants inside hotel. A nice sunny outdoor swimming pool with water falls welcomes you there. Nice Food, Gym and SPA. Thanks to Mr. Santosh from Al-Waha Restaurant, he is an amazing host.

We had a family suite which was clean and very functional. The pillows were poor quality but the fixtures and fittings and comfort was faultless. Disturbed nights sleep due to marble floors in rooms and late nighters scraping chairs etc across floors above or below. We had booked a suite on a non smoking floor, and were given a superior suite which was lovely, but our daughters had to move out of their room in the middle of the night into the living room due to the very strong smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air-con into their bedroom all night. It also filtered into the living area but not as bad. I felt that customer service could have been much better when we reported it. Room service were sent to to refresh the room, but it didn't need cleaning: the air needed venting and purifying, and the smoker found and challenged. I felt that staff were ready to accommodate a smoker who was ‘checking out that day anyway' above our needs. It took several conversations and a final request for the manager to come and experience it for themselves before our complaint was taken seriously and we were offered air freshening and purifying (these rooms are sealed boxes dependant on air-con!) The problem was resolved but it was a long drawn out process. Obviously it left an impression

The Gulf Hotel Convention & Spa also has superior 24/7 Room Service speedily served with style by Siddik, Redoy, Kawsar, Jacob, & Ashik. I have stayed at hotels around the world for over 12 years. Other establishments would be wise to invest in training their staff here.

Attended meeting of Rotary Club of Manama. Spread of lunch was good for buffet. Although there was not much option for vegetarians probably being a buffet. Location of the hotel is good and it has various facilities available. There is ample parking.

Went to Bahrain for an energy industry conference Sept 11-16. The hotel is an older property but well maintained (although I did upgrade my room to a suite as my original room was a bit tired. Management needs to invest some money in the rooms to stay competitive with other newer properties in my opinion. The hotel staff goes a long way to make up for shortcomings in the physical property. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and helpful. They really made the difference. Of particular note were the two room staff in my suite. Erra and Robi (I hope I spelled their names correctly). They went the extra mile every day of the week I stayed at the hotel. I hope someone in management reads this and recognizes them internally. One other high note was the outstanding convention/meeting faculty at the hotel. It made for a well run event. I will definitely return.

Great hotel for the price. Located near shopping area and restaurants. The hotel has several top restaurants with different cuisine and also has a cigar lounge area. From desk staff is super helpful. Some parts of the hotel are outdated but good overall.

The Gulf Hotel is an excellent hotel choice. The breakfast selection and various restaurant choices allowed me to easily find meals within the hotel premises. Sudip was excellent performing his housekeeping duties. He was very respectful and courteous. He went out of his way by providing requested tea bags and cleaned my room quickly and efficiently.

Sudip did an outstanding job cleaning my room. He was very quick and efficient. He has been extremely helpful getting me all the accommodations that I wanted for my room. Every time I called the front desk his response was timely.

Staying in the 2 bedroom executive suite. Accommodation is VERY clean (thank you Gina) The only mildly negative thing I can say about this hotel is that some parts of our room are a tiny bit tired and may need slightly updating. Visited the Spa today for my sisters birthday and were blown away with the treatments and service. Beautiful cake arranged at no charge and therapy staff were knowledgeable, professional and fantastic at what they do (thouraghly recommend the 3 hour package - body scub, massage, facial tailored to your needs) thank you Florencia, for your attention. Many restaurants to choose from all serving excellent food. Typhoon bar a must for a well made cocktail in tropical surroundings. All staff across the hotel courteous and professional. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Pool area stunning, and great sperate kids area. Hope to stay again soon.

We have just had the pleasure of visiting the gulf spa. One of us had a birthday and we decided a 3 hour treatment, including body scrub, massage and facial was what we needed! The spa accommodated us together, each of us receiving tailored treatments dependent on preference and skin type. We all agreed it was fabulous. We feel so relaxed and our skin has never felt so good! The staff then provided the birthday girl with a delicious chocolate birthday cake, making the day that bit more special. Thank you. Definitely recommend treatments in the spa and thank you to the wonderful staff.

Another 2 week stay in this hotel ive been using for 15 years and it truelly feels like home. This has been and will continue to be my favourite hotel ive used. It really is the staff and service that make this place for me. The floor/restaurant managers in particualar are like family to me. I only wish i could visit more often than i do.

Our home in Bahrain. Rooms are big enough, you don't have to leave the hotel because it's full of great restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Lebanese…) there are two tennis courts and one big pool. But it's close to a few nice restaurants in the Block area.

Superb service levels from staff; lovely, comfortable accommodation; perfect location. The hotel is beautifully appointed with excellent amenities, plenty of choice when it comes to restaurants, and spacious bedrooms. I will return.

The Gulf Hotel is outstanding. My favorite cafe in the hotel was café Délices. The server, Raju, is the most polite and attentive server I have encountered. I loved the coffee and the desserts. This month they were doing Mango Mania and the mango desserts were delicious. You should definitely try Cafe Délices!

I really enjoyed my Breakfast at the restaurant. The pancakes were excellent and the Cappuccino was perfect. I have eaten here several times now and Amrita always provides professional service with a smile, I can tell she is happy, even with her face under a mask. I may have to try one of the Mango treats they are featuring this month.

I had the worst experience in this dirty hotel with dirty room service and dirty towels, duvets worn out, crooked floor, hair on the floor and not clean corridors to reach the room that wasn't cleaned until I told the reception. The only person that made our stay bearable is the great lady working at pool bar, her name is WUDE and she is the most sweet person who went out of her way to make our stay fun.

La Pergola exudes a serene, sophisticated elegance. Mood lighting and soft contemporary Italian music enhance a colour palette of black, and midnight blue, sparkling glassware and pristine white tablecloths. Our charming sommelier Ash' suggested excellent wine pairings for various dishes from the menu. As a laden trolley rolled up table-side, to whip up your hearts desire in freshly made cocktails or mocktails. We browsed the boundless menu, while sipping our drinks and soaking up the convivial ambience. A selection of artisan Italian bread, included bread sticks, olive focaccia and a mini Tuscan scull was presented for the table, accompanied by black olive tapenade, butter or extra virgin olive oil. La Pergola's impressive menu, boasts both traditional and contemporary dishes, catering to all, especially connoisseurs of fine Italian food. The extensive menu offers, fish, seafood, lamb, beef, chicken, pasta, pizza and vegetarian dishes, authentically prepared by native Italian, Chef Massimo. To begin, we shared deep fried Calamari. Golden crisp rings of deliciousness arrived accompanied by Chef's ‘special' dipping sauce and horseradish dip on a bed of mixed leaves and fresh lemon - portion size was perfect for two. For mains, mine was a traditional beef lasagne - wholesome comfort food, at its best! A generous portion served piping hot, bursting with flavour, artistically presented - garnished with 3 Italian mini meatballs and a halved boiled egg. Hubby savoured the grilled Angus beef tenderloin with porcini sauce, fruity baked potato, carrot, asparagus and fried porcinis. The tenderloin was melt in the mouth perfection. Chef Massimo leaves nothing to chance! Dessert for me is always a conundrum… spoiled for choice, what to have? He, had Tiramisu - a creamy, sweet, coffee flavoured delight and after much deliberation, I finally decided on the Cioccocrock - Chocolate biscuit base with Madagascar vanilla flavoured ice cream and barley sauce - Heaven on a plate! Frothy cappuccinos rounded off the evening. Perfecto! As we said Good Night, our waiter mentioned, La Pergola is running a special promotion “Take me to Tuscany” for the month of August, promising an exciting Set Menu of several course choices - worth checking out. I highly recommend La Pergola - it‘s ‘Bella Cucina' and impeccable service is second to none, for lunch or dinner. Reservations are a must to avoid disappointment.

Sato at Gulf Hotel is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been too. Recently, we went there as a party of six, and our server Grace was so helpful and explained any query we had regarding the menu. Furthermore, she also patiently took note of all the orders in amicable manner!

I have always been to Al Waha restaurant. Actually I have been going to Al Waha restaurant for over 10 years. I have met their outstanding, helpful Indian manager and all the other excellent waiters and waitresses, but Richie stood as an amazing person that really drew my attention. He's meticulous, helpful and very kind. I really admired him. May God bless him and bless his life as well as all the other staff!

My experience at China Garden Restaurant is unique, I really enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and of course the hospitality. Thanks to their Manager Joan to make this place wonderful and relaxing. For sure I will repeat the visit once and twice and much much more. Do not miss the place.

After Covid, this was the first time we re-visited La Pergola and it absolutely did not disappoint! Thanks to Mr. Nigel Pinto and the Chef, the food was as impeccable as the service. The main course was so flavourful my balanced that not even an extra grain of salt was required. That is the hallmark of perfect cuisine. Not to mention the desserts were extremely well presented and the bread was so fresh! I look forward to dining here with more friends and family in the future. 10/10 experience for me.

If u visiting consider staying in this hotel of visiting one of the restaurants Sato has the best Japanese food in town, the Mexican has a live preference .. the Iranian restaurant offer authentic Iranian food .

Our visit was incredible. We were served by Ruslyn and chef Ricky. Ruslyn made sure we were always happy whilst chef Ricky made us laugh consistently. Ricky showcased a range of skills. I didn't know it was possible to be that entertained whilst waiting for my food. As a whole it was a great experience, and we will definitely be coming again!

First time we stayed there during Eid Holidays, overall stay was very nice from check-in to check-out but special thanks to housekeeping Shweta because whenever we came back to hotel after outing in evening and we requested something she is always bringing for us with smiling face that was astonishing for us.

Gulf Hotel Bahrain restaurants are the best. The food is delicious and the employees treat all their guests with the upmost respect. Ms. Soukaina should be employee of the month, actually employee of the year. She greets everyone with a smile, answers all questions and ensures that your stay is a pleasant one.

A simply fantastic way to spend a Friday in Manama. The staff alone are worthy of the 5* rating. The food was excellent, a extensive array of food types, all done to an exacting standard. Beef rib, Lobster, and Parmesan were some of the highlights. The drinks package was well worth the extra cost, with specials being provided throughout, bilinis and margaritas for our serving. I would like to thank Lisa, Sai and Pramod personally for their excellent service throughout.

I've stayed at the Gulf Hotel on and off for the past 3 years and can't commend the hotel and their staff highly enough. The hotel has suffered during the COVID crisis but is now back to pre pandemic levels of occupancy, but their attention to personal service has not wavered throughout. If you come to Bahrain, stay at the Gulf Hotel, you won't be disappointed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staffs of Sato Japanese Restaurant in Gulf Hotel Bahrain especially to Chef Kevin and Ms. Karen Santos. It was indeed a memorable experience being a tourists in Bahrain, it definitely made our trip extra special from the quality of food that is really tasty, that really exceeds our expectations down to the professionalism and attentiveness of the staffs. The entire hotel was really elegant.

When I travel to Bahrain, I often stay at the Gulf Hotel. It has so many excellent restaurants one cannot go wrong! Last night, I chose to go Italian - since I happen to be Italian. It was the best choice I made on my current business trip. I ordered the "Linguini ai frutti di Mare" (Linguini pasta, calamari, clams, shrimp, cherry tomatoes and basil). The waiter, a gentleman named Umesh, made for an incredible meal - from start to finish. He returned at just the right times to check how everything was going - and even brought a special (free) treat from the chef! I find it's rare to find the perfect waiter or waitress. That night I was indeed fortunate! My next trip back to Bahrain will include a trip back to this Italian restaurant! (Hoping for a repeat performance!)

I've been searching for the best Thai restaurant in Bahrain and was lucky to have found Royal Thai in Gulf Hotel. The food is amazing - favorite: Pad Thai, Tom Yum and Stir Fried Vegetables. Legit Thai food taste. Everything we ordered was so satisfying. They have the best staff also - hospitable, friendly and very helpful. Special regards to Alex and Chef Wasame and sincere thanks for making our family lunch experience really remarkable. :) The ambience is very nice and the view from the outside reminds me of Asia. Overall, very satisfied!

I booked an executive apartment for a relative's wedding. I was supposed to receive the apartment at 1 pm because i had hair and makeup coming to get me ready for the wedding. We stayed from 1pm. Until 5pm and did not receive the apartment!!!! We had to physically go to a salon to get ready and my father stayed to check in but didn't receive it until 5:30pm!!!!! If i could rate the experience a 0 i would. Even when we got it the apartment had no bath robes no towels no tissues. Like i don't understand the bad management and bad service we got. It is supposed to be a 5 star hotel but the experience we had was maybe 1 star. I do not recommend. I would never do that again.

It's Eid, the hotel and its restaurants are packed; but that doesn't affect the service of JoAnn and the staff. Service was outstanding; warm, friendly and on task, and Chef made an impressive Sichuan Lobster. Why do we keeping coming back might you ask? Because we feel like we are treated like we are special that's why.

Amazing experience. The rooms were constantly kept well and clean and never dirty. I always received towels and water when needed!!!! Thank you Gina for assuming all necessities were met!!! Only thing i would recommend changing is the hour of when food is served.

We have just spent a week at Gulf hotel bahrain. This is our first visit . Customer service here is absolutely amazing and could not be faulted . We got a chance to dine in the Italian restaurant and it was our best choice ever as the food and service was supreme. Aswin was our server the other day and he is really a great asset to the restaurant as he was knowledgeable, very keen and takes the utmost care while looking after the table. The kids enjoyed the pizza and the amuse bouche was just a perfect start to our meal. The hotel has all the cuisines under one hub and it is a great place to stay. Looking forward for the next visit.

I had ghabga at ramadan tent in gulf hotel with my friends and colleagues yesterday. Food was good as usual but something which impressed us was the guest sevice agent BELLA from Assam caring, welcoming and friendly. She made our visit memorable Thanks Ramadan Kareem

We stayed for a holiday. There were initial problems with our room ,but this was soon sorted out by the very efficient reception staff. Where ever we went in the hotel all the staff were delightful and so friendly and welcoming. I forget the name of the lady in charge at breakfast but she always arranged a cushion for my Mother's back. Such a kind and thoughtful lady. I am sorry I can't remember more names to thank them. We enjoyed the Gulf night out as well as dinner in the Mexican restaurant.

Fantastic Stay with fantastic staff! The hotel was my home for two weeks and everyone is welcoming and will help out as much as possible. With it being Ramadan there were three restaurants open inside and the marquee buffet. Michael by the pool was always there to welcome me when I got back to the hotel after work with brilliant service. La Pergola the Italian is very nice, run by Aswil and the waiters, they were quick to recognize me and would be incredibly attentive and make dining a pleasure, and always went the extra mile. Roshan in the Khaimah Al Khaleej the Marquee with the buffet, did an amazing job aswell, got me to try new things, and was very helpful. All in all a fantastic Stay

Great service from service staff guys Bhargov, Vinoy and Rohul. Abience was nice in the outside area suitable for smokers, food quality was great with large variety but desserts could have been better.

The customer service was excellent. Miss Bouchard and Miss Sariya at the front desk did an excellent job by making us feel welcomed and they happily provided us with all the help we needed with our inquiries. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've tried in a 5 star hotel.

Kind of nice place, the food was not that much good. But really really nice services, we got the service from 3 guys they were very helpful, nice and smiling all the time. I think their name are BHARGAV, VINAY and RAHUL.

I stayed in the Hotel for a couple of nights and I have to say the staff is amazing since the checkin to the restaurant.. I went to check the Gym unfortunately was closed for renovation but the trainer there ( I think her name is Tatiana ) was so helpful and friendly. I definitely going to join the sport club once the renovation is over!

This is an amazing hotel and spa. I spent two weeks here and enjoyed several of the restaurants, the spa, and the pool. Outside the hotel, there numerous restaurants and, of course, the Grand Mosque. I stayed in Gulf Hotel for almost 3 weeks during a work contract for the F1 Grand Prix… this is the second time I stay here and I want to thank all the staff for making yet again our stay a wonderful experience… you are always greeted with smiles, and authentic warmth, apart from first class service… In particular I want to thank Wude from the pool area, for her lovely attitude, as well as all the house keeping team, always friendly and efficient - especially Airoby… And also the restaurant staff and the gym staff… super friendly and pleasant… I look forward to being back next year to this home away from home…!

I visit almost every day in oak lounge, my favourite place, professional staff, good range of single malts. Sulo and satish who always suggest me single malt with cigar always perfect, My favourite montecristo open eagle with cigar malt.

Wonderful hotel with really friendly staff. Mohammed Monir and his colleague were great at keeping on top of the house keeping and were really friendly. Hotel facilities were fantastic, I would definitely stay here again.

Magnificent hotel, conference centre and spa with everything you need. Absolutely grand presentation. Glorious looking reception and restaurant area with so much space to sit and relax. Lots of restaurants within the complex. Overwhelmed by the choice plus actual bar and pub style bar too. Coffee shop. The works. Great staff and food selections. You could live in the hotel! Finding your room is a bit of a trek but was surprised to find I had a small apartment with kitchen, sitting room, along with bathroom and separate bedroom. Living space had it all and more. Bath had water jets. Invigorating!Stunning room - Very clean, well kept and maintained. Great room maintenance staff. Staff are amazing throughout In all areas. So helpful. I came here for the F1 and had such a great experience. Buses to and from the circuit. Perfect. Nearby you can walk to the amazing Grand Mosque or a smallish Mall. There is also the Museum and park area too with water view not too far on foot. Taxis and Uber are cheap to get you about from here. Lovely outside area with nice lagoon style pool and garden with sunbathing area. Not too far from the airport either. Perfect location to explore Manama and other areas in Bahrain.

I was really looking forward to a weekend break at The Gulf. Unfortunately, the welcome at reception lacked any real sense of being welcomed. No pleases, no smiles, no intro to the hotel, no booking for dinner that I had requested. Beyond that - oh and the deluxe room that had a loose loo seat, an intermittent working phone and a really noisy air on. However, the dinner was AMAZING hosted by Jithu and just delicious. Moving out to the pool bars for drinks incredible. Breakfast again top! As with any other top quality hotel, I expected to sign for drinks etc on my room - as did the staff. I had staff apologising and asking for payment at the facilities. I saw several other guests experiencing the same and having to back to their rooms to collect cards. A great pool, good restaurants let down by really poor front of house admin. Funnily enough, as I was completing the review below I got to the box asking whether staff were multilingual - the restaurant and bar staff were, but front of house lacked any courtesy in the English language and an inability to answer questions effectively.

This is a lovely hotel with the delicious dining options. Rasoi and Fusions are great for a special occasions while Takht Jamsheed has the most splendid comfort food with stews and dips. Tara at Al Waha is very courteous, efficient and always remembers your breakfast order.

I was staying at the Gulf Hotel for two nights during a business trip to Bahrain. The Hotel is a Little bit older and some small items need renovation. On the other hand it offers a Cody atmosphere that modern buildings are missing. The food in all restaurants that we tried was very good and plentiful. I will certainly return here when I travel to Bahrain again.

Was an amazing experience with a very professional staff specially at cigar lounge with Satish who's the manager of the cigar lounge and with Sulo which is the best waitress in this lounge. Very nice cigars very nice service, sure I will be back again and again

I normally try my best to say something good about hotels as they have a hard enough job, especially at the moment. This hotel was pretty bad though. It was so bad that we had booked 2 nights but checked out after 1. The room was noisy and the water was lukewarm at best. At breakfast it was mandatory to wear masks but lots didn't and the staff failed to deal with them appropriately. I tried to tell a guy to put his mask on but he didn't listen, yet the staff kept serving him. Following breakfast, my wife wanted to sit by the pool, however it was under repair. If this had been noted on the website, I wouldn't have booked. Finally, I had been informed that the sherlock holmes bar was good however, you can't go in unless you are not worried about a huge amount of passive smoking and smell. We moved out after 1 very expensive night for a hotel that didn't have all the facilities and is tired at best.

From check in to departure the service was nothing but basic functional at best . With the exception of the ladies in the Spa who were friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs . This is not a 5 star hotel - at best a 4 . Booked via travel agent platinum room and on check in told it is standard room only - whilst still showing the Confirmation - refused and then told to pay extra for what I booked . Any asks or requests required numerous follow ups . Front desk clearly need training on how to deliver a 5 star service - witnessed numerous guests complaining about the service / rooms . Overall the experience was very disappointing- the staff appear to be unhappy / lack interest in their jobs . Hotel is well overdue a renovation .

We love going to Sato. And when we learned that they have the Unlimited Sushi & Sashimi , we didn't think twice and we booked the table immediately. As always they have the most mouthwatering sushi & sashimi and other delicious food thanks to chef Dan & Chef Tata. And lovely servers luzelie, Karen, Rodel. Very refreshing drinks kudos to Justin. And lastly Ms. Joziel the best incharge as shes always coming to our table to asked if we are satisfied with everything.

Went to Bahrain for a short break during the KSA national day holiday weekend 23 Sept 2021. Ate at the Gulf Hotel a couple of times. Thoroughly enjoyable especially crazy Gracie in Sherlock Holmes who always brings a smile as well as great pub grub.

we live near by Gulf hotel and visited the Royal Thai restaurant often on weekend, and enjoy some drinks at cozy Typhoon Bar afterwards. but we have been always very confused, how ist the VAT calculated in their billing system... as the VAT is increased from 5% to 10% in 2022, we are getting more curious to figure it out, ha... may be someone can help to solve the puzzle? ( i believe, the Govt Levy is calculated with 5.5% not 5%...)

I used the pool area as a guest, The staff were very friendly and efficient. The pool bar manager, Wude, was very attentive and always had time to for a chat before continuing on with her work. I visited 5 or 6 times during my time in Bahrain and found it a most enjoyable and relaxing experience every time. If I ever visit again I will definitely be back for more relaxation!

The staff was extremely courteous, generous made you feel like a at home. If there is a problem the front desk will do everything they can to make your stay better Pretti is one of the front desk clerk who is the amazing and will bend over backwards for you.

Every visitor to Bahrain must try this unique and one-of-a-kind experience at the Sato Restaurant. This Japanese delight offers an endless choice of cold and hot tasty authentic Japanese treats from a big range of Sochi and Sashimi to Teppanyaki. Best Japanese food I've tried so far in Bahrain. Very original recipes and first quality products. What makes it even more special is the superior skill and accommodating style of their Sushi Chefs “Kevin” / “Tata” / “Chris”, the classy hospitality of the restaurant manager “Jo”, as well as the commendable service of the courteous servers. Sato will stay on your mind for a long time. Cheers with a giant thump up.

What a great hotel, nothing too much trouble. Whilst here for work I had some time socialising with friends and Wude at the pool bar is by far the best hostest I have ever had. Humble and honest nothing was too much trouble a credit to the Gulf. The housekeeping and breakfast were also superb. I would highly recommend this hotel for business pleasure or even a family stay. Will definitely return.

This was my first time in Bahrain. The Gulf hotel team arranged for my pick up in a luxury car and the reception area was like Kings palace feeling. I was really impressed by the welcoming & the services provided at the hotel. the staff are very friendly and adaptive. They have variety of food restaurants and the food is delicious. Totally worth and satisfied. Will surely visit again.. and yes I would love to rate 5star. Specially would like to mention about Ms Preeti, who helped me to allot room & explain all the facilities.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are all so friendly. Their outlets and great with great food and ambiance. We had lunch at Sato and it was excellent and dinner at Mexicana and the music and food was lovely and delicious. We love everything about the Gulf Hotel. Every time we visit they never fail to impress us.

Great location close to the nightlife of adilayia. Good selection of restaurants inside the hotel. Typhoon is particularly good for happy hour drinks. Request a room on the revamped side of the hotel as some rooms On the far side are starting to look very old now.

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend (anniversary) at the Gulf Hotel in Nov 21. We were met at reception by the wonderful Preeti; a lovely lady ,a delight to talk to,and who had a wealth of knowledge in regard to the local area and the numerous choice of restaurants in the hotel itself. The rooms are large with a comfortable bed and a superb rain shower to sooth a weary traveler. Fusion Restaraunt and rooftop are is well worth a visit; the food and choice of wines is excellent and the service, impeccable. We were also delighted to meet the hostess of the rooftop bar, Esperanza, who is a true professional and a wealth of information. Highly recommend the Gulf Hotel.

We love our time at the Gulf. The staff is so welcoming and excel at making the guests feel comfortable and pampered. Wude is the best along with Michael at the pool bar, with Ivan and his staff supporting guests, and all the restaurants provide a multitude of choice with culinary excellence. Foyzhod Rahman kept our room clean and supplied. The Gulf is the premiere choice when stying in Bahrain. We cannot wait to get back.

Typhoon has a great outdoor seating area and is great when the weather is getting cooler. There were many choices of drinks during Happy Hour and priced very reasonably - BD2 only. Selection of food was good for a lounge. I tried the Tempura and the Chicken Taco. Both were lovely and hit the spot. The ever attentive Mary was always nearby and my drink was never empty. Thanks for the nice experience!

Unbelievable service. I have been in the country for a week and the food and attentiveness was bar none. Today was butchers night here which included premium cut steaks and sides as well as a tailored assortment of international cuisines. My servers Roshon and Aswin were incredible and never missed a beat in taking care of me. I will be back tomorrow specifically because of their hard work. If you like diverse meals and a good deal, you should have been here five minutes ago!

We have been long term guests at the Gulf Hotel due to relocating. Honestly, I have several reviews I want to post. The Gulf Hotel's greatest asset is it's staff! Regina, from housekeeping, has been the most frequent room care provider. EVERY provider has been wonderful, but Regina just shines every, and I do mean every time I open the door and she is standing on the other side waiting to come in to provide service. She makes ME feel like SHE's the privileged one to come in and provide service instead of me being honored to have such a lovely, sweet, and wonderful staff member coming in to clean up behind us. I understand staff getting moved around based on needs of the entire hotel. Regina had recently gotten reassigned to another area. But, I do have to admit, last night my husband asked me if I would like him to request to have Regina assigned to our room, if possible. This morning, to my delight!!!! (Even before my husband could make the request) I opened the door to the most beautiful smiling eyes above a covid mask!

I stay at the Gulf hotel regularly throughout the year and the service, hospitality and facilities are brilliant. Especially the housekeeping team. We see them every day, and they will always make sure we have everything we need. Gina; in particular, has been amazing. She's always very friendly, keeps the room perfectly clean and will go out of her way to help us.

The hospitality was top notch and the customer service was flawless. It was my husbands Bday and they did everything to make him feel special. The accommodations for the children that attended was above expectations. I did not expect them to serve the children separate food from the seafood. They took such good care of the children. They sang Happy Birthday and celebrated with us. The buffet was plentiful and had a wide variety of choices. The food was absolutely delicious and my group of 15 had the best time and experience. The best part was the flawless service. Aswin was extremely accommodating and always making sure that we were taken care of. He treated the children with great care and respect and was very sweet. Great time at the Thursday night dinner!! Great sea food and great service by Roshan! Lobster and salmon plus lots of salads and other food on Thursday night. Plus everything is all you can eat Great staff and I would go again!

I've been staying here in the Residence section, but have full access to the hotel facilities which are fantastic. The gym is nice, if not a little crowded in the PMs, but the trainers there are friendly and engaged. Ditto for the breakfast staff! One person I'd like to point out in particular is Gina, the housekeeper who is amazing, always friendly, always making sure my apartment has what I need (water in particular!) She, like many other of the staff, are what truly make a place like the Gulf Hotel worth visiting.

One of the best place to shop for alcohol. A good premium collection of all kinds of alcohol. Extremely neat. The staff was vere helpful and well versed with the current offers. Drive-in also available for those who wish to pick-up on the go. Parking available. All safety protocol were adhered.

I have been to this place to many times. Unfortunately this time performance was very poor, slow staff, and rooms are not clean. To be honest I'm surprised with all poor services was provided. I do love this hotel because I have my childhood memories I do wish you fix all the mention above. I'm writing this feedback based on my comment and the other guests in the hotel.

The Service at Butcher night was exquisite! Aswin and Jithu took care of us all night. Aswin made recommendations for wine that paired perfectly with our steaks and was very attentive, quickly bringing us anything we needed. Jithu (the manager) frequently stopped at our table to ensure we were having the best dining experience possible. The food was outstanding and the service was even better! A lovely hotel, with great rooms and service. Food is plentiful, with staff such as Aswin making fantastic recommendations and providing excellent service. Great gym, and the pool area is clean and well kept. Happy hour at Typhoons is a must!

Charging hotel guest a minimum service charge of 25 BHD (66.50 $) to enter pool bar and restaurant indoor or stay outdoor and be served in very high temperatures climate around (48C) without service charge , it was noon time with no guest inside.

Great hotel, very helpful staff especially Aswin who went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. Pool staff were also great throughout. Happy hour cocktails at typhoons made for a good evening. Would stay again.

The pictures are great, but you have to see and experience this place in person. It really is a beautiful hotel. It is one of those things at first sight when you go up the escalators, you are greeted by the opulence of the lobby. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly, so you know that it is going to be a good stay. I really like the dining options here. You can really try a different type of cuisine everyday if you are staying here for an extended period of time (such as business, or vacation/holiday). This hotel offers 10 different dining options from International/Local, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Iranian, Indian, Mexican, Fusion, Lebanese, Italian (though some establishments may be temporarily closed due to COVID, which is understandable). So far, I have been lucky to dine at many of the restaurants here at the hotel and they have done great, especially when immersing you into the regional environment with pretty accurate décor and delicious food offerings. I'm quite impressed with my dining experience. I would say that find myself returning to Al Waha quite often (the "open space" restaurant that is next to the lobby and will be able to see as you walk through the hotel). It is also the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I also enjoy returning here because of the exceptional service I receive here. Since I have been staying in the hotel for an extended stay, I have become a recognizable face and some of the staff like Mr. Jithu and Mr. Aswin have gone out of their way to say hello even if I'm not dining and just walking through the hotel. When I do dine there, it's like I'm a close friend and receive great recommendations on what to try. I am quite confident Jithu and Aswin (along with the rest of the friendly staff) will do the same for you when you visit as well. When you are making plans to Manama, you truly should stay and dine at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain. Not only is it a popular and local favorite, it lives up to its reputation as a 5 star luxury hotel so you won't be disappointed!

Aswin is the go to guy for any type of service needs! He is very friendly and very attentive!! He is friendly and very kind to all residents and guests at this hotel. He is a master of his craft. A kind man!!

Once again, we have enjoyed our stay at Gulf Hotel. Checkin, room service, breakfast buffet, available movies, incredibly friendly service-all so perfect! At tonight's dinner buffet, we were greeted with smiles. I am so happy we decided to stay and enjoy dinner at Al Waha Restaurant. Aswine was our server this evening; he made great suggestions and was readily available when we needed anything. We will definitely return soon.

Our thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making our stay as easy and comfortable as possible while working under the daily pressures that Covid gives. Having the government change rules for dining and entertainment is not easy but everyone dealt with it and should be commended for their professionalism. Our 2nd stay (under Covid conditions) and we will book again. Great facilities, the spa , pool and restaurants.

Like every other hotel in the world, their lighting system is ridiculous and sucks! STOP with the complicated BS. Lights should switch on and off at the source....period. There is no need for this crap that you have. The little panel beside the bed doesn't work and isn't an amenity. It's dumb. Turning on and off a light at the source is such a simple process. Why over complicate it?! Oh and if there is a king size bed, there should be king size pillows. No one, and I repeat, no one, wants a series of pillows to sleep on. That is dumb too. Keep it simple.

I just happened to be returning to my room at the same time the housekeeper was leaving. I asked if he could wait just a moment while I checked the room. He was very professional and spoke my native language well. He responded "Sure sir." After a quick scan of the room and bathroom, it was spotless, well stocked, and smelled fresh. I asked his name and he said Katkuri Sai Kiran. At first he thought it was to report him because there was something wrong, but I indicated just the opposite - that he takes his job seriously and that he is doing an excellent job! I normally stay at this hotel each time I visit Bahrain. This is one of the reasons why!

Are just a few of the people that made my stay INCREDIBLE!!!, I am leaving off the Dining Managers and supervisor and great COOKS...all the front desk and room service personnel as well. I have never seen such a well coordinated team work in unity as I experienced here at the GULF HOTEL, I am planning my next visit in August to BAH and of course I will go see my friends at the Gulf,they made my Quarantine stay a pleasure. This time im going there as i go out on vacation and look forward to the pool, gym resteraunts and relaxing Atmosphere. If you don't visit the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain you are missing out on the #1 hotel in Bahrain.

This hotel is fantastic. Very kind to all people from all walks of life. I want to highlight Janak who went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable in the hotel. He made multiple trips to our room to bring us wine glasses ice and a bottle opener.

The staff and management at the spa/fitness have a low level of hospitality and are not competent in dealing with guests. You always feel like they're doing you a favor and that the hotel is beyond your reach, even though you paid for it.

Raghu is polite and nice , he is capable of making the pest cacktels in Bahrain, he makes you feel at home , all the staff in this bar are nice and polite. Emilyn is very nice and have a great smile . I will come her often

Sri Hari Manthena provided excellent house keeping during my 2 month stay in the Gulf Hotel. The hotel's other services were very accommodating to my every need as well. Highly recommend staying here.

It's my third time at Sherlock homes the service is always perfect and the manager is always around although this time Raghu served me and he is best at his job. Very fast, good suggestions and friendly

Wonderful hotel with a very professional staff. Saikiran from housekeeping was very polite and did an excellent job. He should be recognized by management as this is a difficult time given the pandemic.

Housekeeping team Mr Sai Kiran and Mr Mahesh who are supervised by Mr Anish attended to rooms 1144 and 1143 The Gulf Hotel Bahrain did splendid job. Very polite, always in full PPE and ensuring the rooms were in clean pleasant state daily for more than 7 days. Deserved recognition by the hotel management.

Fantastic hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable staff friendly and courteous only downside due to COVID in room dining only the hotel menu was ltd when your stay is 8 weeks other than that very happy

Rooms are quite spacious, clean and liveable. Staff and house keeping services were great, all staff extremely friendly - shout out and extra special thanks to Sukrain and Nissam for their great friendly and efficient service and care. The hotel in general is quite expensive though, even for regular laundry services. The room service menu was not so great, the range and availability of food was minimal and I felt quite ill after almost every meal- something to take note of.

Hari and era provide great service! Cleaned very well and is always polite! Service is excellent and would definitely recommend staying at the gulf hotel. 5/5 stars. Hotel is great as well, clean and environment and great food and drinks

The room service was excellent and Sudip was excellent as well. The hotel is very clean, the pool is huge, restaurants within the hotel was wonderful and customer service from the entire staff was great.
