Best Western Mountainbrook Inn

This Best Western is convenient to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and other nearby areas. It has two stories and no elevator, so request a ground floor room if there is any mobility issue or heavy luggage. Rocking chairs are outside the door. One wing can accommodate pets. The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is included and was very good. Scrambled eggs, premade omelets, oatmeal, cereals, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, etc. were available. There is not very good sound insulation and walking in the room above was noisy and some street traffic was heard. This hotel was very reasonably priced.

I stayed in Maggie Valley in February for ski season and I found the property to be quiet, hospitable, clean, comfortable, and able to meet my needs. The hotel is 10 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Area. The staff is very polite and genuine and the breakfast was the highest level for what you see at Best Westerns. They even had omelets which I like and you don't see at every BW hotel. The hotel pays a premium for that luxury. I had no issues whatsoever and is conveniently located to Legends, known for having the best food and drinks, even later than other places in Maggie Valley. I'd stay here if I were coming back any time of year.

We stayed here for a few days while enjoying the winter activities in the area. Other than having exterior doors (which let in more sound), we couldn't have had a better stay. The room was clean, the staff was excellent, and breakfast was great!

Even thought it was the long weekend . The rooms were well cleaned. Friendly staff and very easy acess to the rooms. The only downside was that it wasnt as sound proof as we would have liked. But over all a great property close to restaurents. One of the best ingles grocery store is just 5 miles and has the best produce and organic selection. Even better than whole foods

Very nice hotel that was in the middle of town. We stayed for three days and the room had good accomodations. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, gravy, and pancakes with strawberry sauce. There were rocking chairs outside of the room which I thought was a nice touch, but it was too cold to be outside in the rocking chairs.

We loved this stay. It is a beautiful town and the hotel was perfect for our get away. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the breakfast was great. We would recommend this Best Western to anyone wanting a warm, friendly place to stay.

Wonderful clerk who checked us in let us in our room a little earlier than check in time. She was excellent This place was amazing. Great price! The room was super clean and I am very particular about hotel rooms. I read the reviews but still went with a bit of doubt that it would be as great as the reviews said. It was! Don't look any farther, this place was awesome!

We've been staying at the Best Western in Maggie Valley for years. Whether an overnight on or way to Tennessee, or a weekend leaf peeping, or a Spring Break visit, the rooms are always clean, the breakfasts complete and delicious, and the staff friendly. The views are amazing as well.

Great stay. Only one night but found the manager to be very helpful and paid special attention to providing a breakfast offering that was better than most any hotel that we have stayed at in the past. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Our check in was effortless. Kay, on the desk was a delight. Our room was spotless and smelled lovely. Bed was comfortable and warm. We had a good sized refrigerator, a microwave, etc. Breakfast was surprisingly good, though I only sampled the coffee, scrambled eggs and sausages. Don't be put off by all the bikes out front. Everyone was super friendly and just meandering along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will definitely be staying here again.

Nice place for the spot, motorcycle meca. Breakfast get there early. Pancake batter needs a little improvement but overall nice spread. Rooms nice and clean, great rocking chairs out front of rooms, enjoy the view.

Good location for our Wheels through time visit. Large parking area, great for a large motorcycle group. The breakfast was great. Had the fancy pancake maker so you make your own. Free parking in front of your room.

Located in heart of Maggie Valley, with updated rooms . Exceptionally good breakfast with homemade omelets , scrambled eggs, and sausage each day, along with pancakes with locally made strawberry topping. Also usual coffee, bread , pastry, with a yogurt dispenser. Extremely friendly staff frequently asking if anything else needed. Great place to stay.

Great relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff! Breakfast was great. My family loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. Good location with lots of stuff to see nearby. Go check out the parkway!!!

Have spent a few trips to this specific hotel and each time have had a great visit. Our room well supplied and clean. Personel very friendly and helpful at all times. Pool was clean The breakfast has several items to chose from, hot and cold. The coffee was very good. And the location is easy to find and to get in and out of as well. We will be returning next year again!

They were very clean rooms and the staff was really helpful and the people there are very welcoming. The food for breakfast was way beyond any other hotel we stayed at on our trip. Very east to find and a few great places to eat around it.

Best Western is one of my two go to hotel chains if I can help it!! This Best Western here in Maggie Valley didn't disappoint. Just as lovely and clean with friendly service as the pictures depict and what you would expect in the heart of Maggie Valley. We enjoyed our one day stay while in the area!! We would go back again.

Nice place to stay for a quick trip to ski and do snow tubing. Clean and friendly. The hotel was close to restaurants and Tube World. 30 minute drive to Cherokee casino. I would recommend like always bring your own pillow, always. That's at every hotel!!

Great experience! Very friendly and considerate staff on all shift periods! Excellent value with the generous 10K4NOV and other bonus point reward! With that I got more free nights. Convenient location and smooth Internet connection.

Upon first entering our room, we noticed a musty smell. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and was very dated. We had issues with getting the water turned on in the shower. The instructions on the faucet knob was to pull. When we did as the instructions stated, the knob as well as the faucet spout pulled completely out of the shower surround. We did eventually get the water to turn on. The water was either scalding hot or lukewarm at best. The second night, we were unable to get the water to turn on. Out of fear of pulling it completely out or causing a leak (if there already was not one), we called the front desk and the lady came to our room to offer assistance. She did get the water on, which we were grateful for, and we let her know that we would would both shower, one immediately after the other in an attempt to avoid not being able to get the water to turn on again. I quickly showered and then my husband after, with his water getting cold half way through. Given our trip was in January, cold with snow on the ground, heat was needed. When set on 70 it was unbearably hot and stuffy in the room. When turned to 68-69, it was chilly.

This is not a fancy hotel, it is simple and well kept. Make sure you lock your car or motorcycle, mine was tampered with just outside the main entrance. Prices are fair, though not great, but neither are the times.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of our room , very comfortable beds and all amenities worked . The chairs in front of our room added the right touch as we sit out and had coffee with a view would recommend this hotel in Maggie Valley to anyone.

We made our reservation a few weeks in advance. This was the busy season watching the leaves change. We arrived about 3:40. Stated Check in time 3 pm. We were given our room key and when we got to our room, the maids were still cleaning. They said it wouldn't be ready for approx 20 mins. We Went to the front desk and asked for a ready room but we were told she couldn't move anyone and wasn't sure why the room wasn't ready. We passed at least 3 rooms that were vacant. We told her we made reservations well in advance and was again told she couldn't move anyone. We said we would see if any other motels had vacancies which none did. (busy season). We also. found she had only worked a week and a half and told us the manager would be in the next day. I told her to please leave a note. We finally got in our room approx 430. Room was clean but old. Nice view of the mountains. No charging ports for cell phones. Small 32" TV that stopped working with remote. We called the front desk and we were brought new batteries which did not solve the prob. We called the front desk again and we were brought another remote. Again did not solve the prob. . I was told that the TV had to be reset by unplugging then then plugging it back in. I had to move the dresser the TV was mounted on and reset it and that worked That nite I killed a rather large spider in the bathroom. The next nite I killed a very large roach. At checkout I recounted our problems with Mandy the manager. I explained that I was going to leave a poor review to which she just chuckled. She did say she was sorry but offered nothing else. As to the motel itself the breakfast was country gravy, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, cereal- standard breakfast at these hotels. The room to have breakfast in was extremely small, held in the same area where the front desk was. We were able to eat when a kind gentleman finished and offered us his seat. Plenty of shopping in Waynesville less than 10 miles away. Publix ,Ingles, Walmart, BestBuy, fast food and local restaurants and laundromats. There are a couple of newer motels, the Clarion and Comfort Inn within a couple miles of this one. Might be better choices. I m sure no bugs at least-lol. One star for this motel

Morning staff was incredible. Great breakfast, so many items well organized, and very clean. They went out of their way to be sure if there was anything we needed they could help. Always very pleasant to talk to!

We enjoyed our stay very much excellent service quality of food and service very friendly and professional was dog friendly and so we were very happy that they were on our path to travel with us we would stay at this best Western it was one of the best that we have ever stayed at and look forward to returning to this location in Maggie Valley again North Carolina

Better than being at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for more. The rooms were clean and located in a beautiful location with a lot to do and great shopping. Nice selection of restaurants as well.

Was a fun getaway to Maggie Valley for some great Harley riding in the area. This place was in a great location and very accommodating to all especially to us riders! They had towels available 24/7 for us to use to wipe down our bikes, two rocking chairs for each room so you can set out and enjoy the mountains and coffee in the lobby 24/7. To top it off the people are so friendly and the area is VERY quiet!!!!

Our family had a wonderful time staying with you.. thank you for treating us like family ❤️ Breakfast was wonderful, staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Our kids had a blast swimming in the pool. We will definitely be returning next year

I admittedly do not tend to stay in motels for various reasons. However, this being a last minute trip, and there being very few hotels in the area, this was one of few with vacancies. After reading the reviews I had hope that all would be well….and it was!!! The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, hot breakfast served daily, and the staff is soooo nice!! The area is clean and feels safe. A few things to know: It's a small (but beautiful) town so there are not a lot of fast food places nearby. There are a handful of restaurants but everything starts shutting down around 8. Fast food, grocery stores, drug stores, etc, are about 20 minutes away. There is a dollar general nearby. Housekeeping and towels have to be requested when needed. Laundry is on site. Upstairs to the left. Only one washing machine and and dryer, $1 each. They will give you change at the front desk. There is no elevator but stairs are wide, not steep, and it's only about 10-12 stairs. Water can get really hot and it has great pressure. To start water, pull knob out with a little muscle. Again, great motel! Would stay again!

Last minute trip for Hillbilly Jam in Maggie Valley. So glad we were able to get a room at Best Western Mountainbrook Inn. The rooms were very clean & the beds were comfy. The breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend the pancakes and yogurt. Location was a major plus within walking distance to restaurants and shops in Maggie Valley. Also, enjoyed rocking in the rocking chairs outside our room.

Excellent service, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The location was great, right in the middle of everything. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast Bar had good selection and area was kept very clean.

Loved the area, we were visiting for a car show and at the minute decided we wanted to spend the night in the area. When I called the front desk to make the reservation, the attendant was very helpful

Couples trip, husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean and spacious. Great breakfast. Check-in was fast and easy. Awesome location central to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean room. Good mattresses and pillows. Wonderful atmosphere. Help was extremely kind and efficient. Made me fresh coffee and I didn't even ask. Good breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, pancakes. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Very affordable.

The hotel is not very well kept! We found a small bug in the corner when we moved the luggage rack. The shower head was literally hanging out of the wall. The beds were terrible. My 8 year old even complained that a bed of nails would have been more comfortable. And what made the trip even worse was a town wide power outage, so we had no power and couldn't even get ready the following morning in our hotel (we were in town for a college graduation so this was just horrible)! No hot breakfast due to the outage so we did have to drive down the road for breakfast (The Buttered Biscuit was wonderful)! Overall terrible experience! Thankful we had booked the remainder of our stay with HILTON! This was only our 2nd time staying at a Best Western and unfortunately our second bad experience!

We found this hotel to be outdated and over priced. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. But, the hotel is outdated, reminding us of rooms from the 70's. The complimentary breakfast was limited and leaves a lot to be desired. There are other hotels in the area that offer better value.

I liked the reviews, price, and location if this Maggie Valley hotel. We needed a 1/2 point on a trip back from SC and it fit the bill perfectly. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the rocking chairs outside the rooms. The room looked recently remodeled and had a new tub enclosure that was a bit oddly shaped but the water was hot and the pressure comfortable

My mom and I stayed 3 nights in Maggie Valley. From check-in to check-out everyone was wonderful. The staff is very happy and friendly. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The coffee was great! The room was very clean and decorated nicely. The bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the help the staff gave about the area and what to do and see! I will return and stay here!

I was very disappointed at the hotel room. It was rundown and the shower looked like it had been installed by someone with no experience. Sad and very rudimentary. Couldn't get wi-fi to work. I was very thankful we were only staying one night. When you think of a Best Western, you expect better accommodations.

Perfect weekend trip to the mountains. We didn't stay in the room much but the rooms were clean, the beds were nice, has a good in town location and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast had quick options for on the go as well as hot items.

I've stayed at BW in Maggie Valley several times over the years. It has previously provided a safe, clean, comfortable, and convenient location to stay while enjoying the mountains. The last two times I stayed there was mixed. Once I was traveling along and the room I was in was clean, everything worked nicely, the bed and pillows were super comfy. the last time I stayed I traveled with my pup and was placed in one of the 'pet friendly' rooms. Apparently these rooms are not given as much attention from maintenance and cleaning that others are. This room looked ok on the surface but there were issues with appliances, some bugs present and the floor was filthy. People are charged extra for pet friendly rooms and this is fair; most pet owners don't mind a nominal fee. There is also an envelope in the room for tipping housekeeping staff. It's not reasonable to charge more, expect a tip and then give the room a lick and a promise instead of the attention it needs. Please respect your customers by cleaning these rooms, tend the maintenance and keep the good reputation for Best Western this hotel has provided in the past.

The employees at Best Western were very helpful to me, my boyfriend, and our dog during the flooding due to Tropical Storm Fred. The rooms are clean and big and the beds are very comfortable. I'm grateful I had somewhere clean and safe to stay.

Smelled awful, was filthy. Dog poo every where.. Noisey neighbors.Entire room very damp and sticky. Floor black with dirt. Neighbors kept us up till 4 AM. Strong dog smell in room. Floor was literally sticky with who knows what. My socks were black from just walking across the room once.

We chose this motel because of the convenient location out of the Smokies. Its an older motor inn but just right for that nights needs. It was pouring rain and we were so happy to be able to back up right to the room door !! Carla at check in was friendly and accommodating and Gave us good suggestions for dinner. Room was a little dated but very clean and the bed and pillows comfy. The ladies at check out were super friendly and offered to dry our soaked clothes from the day before !

We visit Maggie Valley about 2 - 3 times a year and always stay at this Best Western. Friendly staff, clean lobby and rooms, great breakfast. It's a really good value for the room rate. There's a lot of choices in the area but we keep coming back to this hotel.

After reading other reviews we decided to stay here while in Maggie Valley. Room had dead bugs on the air conditioner and in floor of bathroom. Freezer was completely useless and needed defrosting big time. Tile in bathroom definitely needs a good scrubbing down. Webs on balcony could easily be wiped off if someone would take the time. Very disappointed. Other guests were out on the balcony talking extremely loud at 4:30 a.m. which woke us up and we just decided it was time to pack it all up and go.

After a few nights of no rest, this Best Western was the perfect answer. The room was clean, comfortable with a beautiful view and quiet at night, every night, for 4 nights. There was a deck with rocking chairs to sit out and enjoy. The staff were so nice, anything we needed, we got.

Just returned from a stay at Maggie Valley. Booked the Best Western for 2 nights... (as that is mandatory). I would have gotten a second hotel if we weren't forced into a 2 night stay. Anyway Don't believe you will get the great price of $80 if you book last minute. Like most hotels in tourist areas, they more than double the price if you book last minute for the weekend. My stay was $170 per night with a AAA discount!!!! Just a regular double queen room. Because the hotels were full and this was their last room, I took it. I thought going with a name brand hotel would be better. Some more negatives before I go to the positives. Toilet was not working the 1st night of our arrival. They brought us a plunger to take care of it ourselves. Didn't fix the problem. Had to wait until the next day for management to come and fix it. Next - Jacuzzi hasn't worked for over a year!!!! They offer you the one next door at the other hotel...evidently they have an agreement. But when I went next door, the door to the pool area was locked and the place appearred closed. It's an enclosed pool and jacuzzi. Didn't feel like walking around in a swimsuit, next to the highway, to get to the front desk! The jacuzzi was one of the reasons I booked! Good things: Management was super nice, so was maintenance. The hotel grounds and rooms were clean! Breakfast was decent for continental. I would not go back to Maggie Valley as.... they are short on staff in town. Restarants are either closed or down to 1 wait person. The towns people will tell you that since COVID, the people who worked service jobs are getting paid to stay home and not work. Thus, it was really hard to find an open restaurant. Those that were open... just a few in a very touristy town, had super long wait times to get in and long wait times to get served. A lot of restaurants were sending people to another town by the name of Waynesville or something? Plan ahead if you go!

We picked this location for our trip to the Cherokee casino. We stayed in Cherokee last time and it was a disaster. Very noisy. We were checked in by the manager. She was very friendly and inviting. Our room was spotless. We did not pick a mounting view room but you can easily see the mountains from every side. It's really a cute little place. They even have wooden rocking chairs sitting outside of everyone's rooms. I will definitely stay here again for our next trip.

We like Maggie Valley because it is on edge of Smokies, but without all the people of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. In the past when we have stayed here, we rented a house. Passing through on our way home from S. Carolina, we opted for the Best Western. It provided a bed and a bathroom and very hot water. That is the best we can say. The door knob was falling off. The shower curtain sagged and slipped and would not stay closed. The bathroom was dirty around the edges of the floor and stained up the wall in one corner.

As a former "Road Warrior", having over 5,000 nights in hotels, this is an average hotel in a location that will challenge you to get to sleep. Trailer park at the side and back of hotel and the main highway through Maggie Valley in Front. Staff .........5/5 (the best part of the hotel, I usually check in between 6-9pm) Location..2/5 Value........3/5 (currently, with Covid it's sub $100, but for future dates, it's over $100) Room........3/5 (Bed was uncomfortable, noise and well past it's life, in my opinion)

The room was clean and quiet for the most part . The staff is helpful and friendly and they had great breakfast options. The only downside is sometimes you may have loud guests above you but other than that it's a great place to stay

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Best Western in Maggie Valley. Staff was very friendly and helpful when asked about things to do in the area. Room was very nice and we enjoyed the morning breakfast.

The room smelled really bad. The heat and air didn't work properly. The front desk people were not nice at all and extremely nosey. It was an extremely bad experience. Will never stay here again. The only person that was helpful at all was a woman named Clara. I will find another hotel next time and just pay a much higher price.

Had a great stay here for The Winter Jam. It was very clean, awesome staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Good location and walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and if you drink Elevated Distillery is across the street.

Carla was so sweet! Being a local she gave us GREAT food and shopping recommendations during our visit. All the staff was very helpful and willing to accommodate anyway they could. We'll definitely be back!

This Best Western is a bit older but the bath area had been updated except for the shower which could use an update. The bed was fairly comfortable but he A/C, window type unit cycled on and off all night fairly loudly. So light sleeper would have trouble sleeping. The Staff was friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a Mountain View this is the place to go. Pictures do this Location NO justice. The view is amazing. It is just minutes from the Smoky Mountains and Soco Falls. Loved this place.

I wish I knew how to upload pictures. The floor was FILTHY filthy, gross. I am positive it has not been mopped in a very long time. The counter by the sink had sticky stuff all over it. The walls and doors were absolutely dirty nasty disgusting. Had it not been night and in the mountains I certainly would not have stayed here . I got bit by a bug during the night. It has been 2 days and my eye is still swollen. Best Western is usually very clean. They should be ashamed to have thier name on this hotel. It is the off season it is not like they dont have time on thier hands to clean especially during the covid pandemic. Best western boasts the efforts to be a leader in cleaning and find that has been true until this hotel . BEWARE DONT STAY HERE !!!!!

Staying in Maggie Valley was a delight with this facility. Warm and pleasant staff, knowledgeable, and comprehensive check-in. Room was clean, and some more recent makeover items brought this older facility to the present. Plenty of parking, and close to MV's attractions. Family Restaurants are close by. Do yourself a favor, and stop looking; just make your reservation!

This is a nice quiet hotel, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are several things to do within walking distance of just sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the view of the mountains. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful views of the parking lot. I did see a little yellowing on the towels and such but I think that was alright. The whole room was filled with old-looking furniture but I like that aesthetic. I wish I could have stayed in the fast-food across the street though.

The room was nice and clean. Due to the COVID-19 we did have to go and get our fresh towels, wash cloths, bath mat and other things like soap. The people were very nice and accomadating. The breakfast food was limited as well. They did have muffins, and some times, danish, coffee and juices. The ladies were very nice and friendly. We had a room on the back side near the pool and it was so nice to sit out there and watch the little critters, rabbits, and ground hogs.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western in Maggie Valley over the weekend (two rooms- 109 & 209). Both rooms had been recently updated and were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Although the hot tub was closed due to COVID, the pool area was very clean. My only complaint was that the walls were very thin. We were on the bottom floor, so we could hear my family walking in the room above us...and I was woken up a couple of times during the night to the people next door slamming their door. Otherwise, this hotel was well worth the reasonable price we paid.

We were in Maggie Valley for the WNC Jeep Fest. I booked the Best Western and made a good decision. The staff provided service with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable. The A/C kept the room cold. Although the hotel is right beside a four lane highway, the room was very quiet. The parking lot and property was very clean. Great price for a great stay. I hope to return in the Fall for another Jeep ride and stay at Best Western.

Right in the heart of Maggie Valley and convenient to all the things there. Easy to find. Comfortable rooms at a great price. Particularly enjoyed having rocking chairs outside the rooms. Quick and easy check in and out.

Our room was clean and all team members were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. Due to covid some features were not available, but we still enjoyed our stay and the room was clean and comfortable.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Beautiful scenery surrounds this conveniently located hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and did an excellent job of managing contact free check in. Our room was clean, the rocking chairs in front of the rooms was a nice touch and the pool area was fantastic. Our room was on the roadside of the hotel so it was a little noisy with traffic but not unbearable. Breakfast was "to go" because of COVID and offered a nice selection of fruit, cereal, and other individual wrapped food items. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place to stay on our mother-daughter road trip to the Smokies this summer. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the view of the mountains while lounging in the rocking chairs outside our room. PANDEMIC PLUSES: The hotel did a great job with contact-free check-in and after staying in a few other hotels with rooms only accessible by elevator, I especially appreciated not having to use an elevator during the pandemic. Our room (210) was accessible via an exterior stairway and was also just 2 doors away from a well-ventilated laundry room. PANDEMIC MINUSES: When we got to the hotel's 'grab and go' breakfast a few minutes before it closed at 9 AM there were only a few granola bars and store-bought fruit cups available. I'm not sure if anything else is typically served.

We came to stay one night after spending night before in Cherokee. 1 night turned into 4. Amazing staff! Super clean! And outstanding rates! Thanks Mandy, Shandy, and Carla! We be back soon!! A hotel the Best Western group should be proud of!!

We enjoyed being at the back part of the property, just a short walk to the pool which was very nice. This hotel is on the main drag of the town, so the Harley noise was drowned out being in the back too!

This property was excellent. It was obvious they were taking the pandemic serious and worked hard to make things as comfortable as possible for their guests. The room was very clean. It was different not having maid service every day but knowing a stranger was not around our belongings was nice. We were not denied anything that was needed. The front desk was ready to help. The location was excellent. We had a picturesque view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Was impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the guest room. Leisure trip to the local casino. Was easy to travel to the property and the casino. Unfortunately, due to the recent national pandemic, breakfast service was unavailable.

Beautiful view! Each room had rocking chairs outside to enjoy the view. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly! We visited during "off season" so it was nice and quiet and empty if you like that sort of thing!

Shower doesn't drain in room 126. Also vanity light did not work. Alerted the front desk on the 1st night of stay. We went out for a few hours and returned without problems being addressed. Finally flagged down an employee and I changed the bulb myself. 2nd day reminded desk of shower, left all day and returned without it fixed. 3rd day went to front desk to address, was offered another room that I declined and requested it be looked at. Left for the day and returned to find the shower does not drain. Reminded on checkout and said I would get a discount

Great hotel! Staff great, good location, good rates, good breakfast, good internet. I would stay here again. Breakfast was good, but breakfast room was a little small. They had rocking chairs in front of the rooms which was a nice touch.

This was a very pleasant surprise, at check in the lady who was working the desk was great! She was friendly and made the process quick and easy. The room was clean and decently updated. We went to eat breakfast the next morning as we only stayed one night, it was right at time to stop serving and the lady who was there came up and offered to fix us whatever we wanted! I have stayed in many many hotels and have never had someone offer to fix more! It's always been this is what we have left. We will definitely bring the kids back and stay here again next time we are in the area! Can't say enough about the staff we encountered. Possibly the best staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in!

Very friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. The only issue we had was the refrigerator had a very bad smell to it. The front desk was told and very quickly another refrigerator was in our room. The hotel is close to several places you can walk to.

Hotel under total remodeling, workers and materials everywhere: over charged me on room and didn't correct. Breakfast was ordinary but eatable .Couldn't sleep as noise in ceiling, didn't know if it was rats or workers.

No insulation in the guest rooms. Heard ALL outside noise. Hot water was non existent for 2nd shower. Housekeeping came to room before we even got up (around 9am) and did not come back that day to clean our room.

Everyone was friendly and we were able to have our fur babies with us. We were able to leave them in the room in their crate while we ate dinner. There is a lot of places that will not allow to leave them. Ours are very well behaved.

We have stayed at this property several times and each time we enjoyed our stay. They have a large variety of items for their breakfast including scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits, toast, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc. They have several different kinds of juice. We have never encountered a problem with this property and will stay there again when we visit the area.

No soy milk at breakfast after having called and being told it was available,no WFPB anything ,nothing that could be considered healthy except for the apples and bananas.Pillows very lumpy, phone not working ,fixed after 24 hours, asked for 2 hour late checkout, okay for a charge of 30$. Rooms facing road, very hard to get any sleep, tires sound very loud on that road.

We stayed at the BW in Maggie Valley for a quick over night trip. We were in the area to purchase a vintage car and was pulling a flatbed trailer. The attendants at the hotel were accommodating, friendly and very helpful in allowing us to park our trailer on site until we needed it. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. But the staff is what made the difference. Great breakfast options and even better breakfast attendant. Her smile/ personality was warm and welcoming.

We loved this place. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. And the breakfast was outstanding. Fresh omelets, bacon! We only stayed one night this time but it will be our first choice hotel from here out.

Last mintue trip to Cherokee, only hotel that had a room. Don't usually stay at exterior corridors but this exterior,r two story property was a PLEASANT SURPRISE. The room was clean, comfortable and updated. The staff was AWESOME, helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was perfect! WIll recommend to anyone traveling to Cherokee and Maggie Valley.

Stayed at Best Western in Maggie to visit my parents. The staff was very welcoming, clean rooms, and the breakfast was amazing. Will be coming back and staying the next time I am in town visiting my parents.

The room was smelly and musty, the sheets were off white color from over use and seemed old and dirty, the room in general was outdated, bathroom was dirty and old. They really need to remodel the rooms. I will not stay at this Best Western Hotel ever again.

My brother and I went to visit our sister near MV, stayed at BW Mountainbrook Inn. Everyone was marvelous! So friendly and helpful. Room very clean and spacious. Due for renovations later this year, I am looking forward to going back!

Maggie Valley has very few name brand hotels in town, most are mom and pop places. This place had everything we needed was moderately priced and had a very good breakfast bar that was continuously kept filled. The only downfall was the hot tub was full of green water, but we were able to go next door to the Quality Inn just a few feet away.

We love this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everytime we stay in Maggie Valley we stay here. Very simple and nice. We love the rocking chairs outside the rooms. Easy in and easy out

Lovely facility located in scenic Maggie Valley NC. Beautiful grounds and outdoor pool. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet.Conveniently located to restaurants and to Wheels through Time Motorcycle Museum. Couldn't have asked for anymore!

our visit was what I expected, the hotel is showing it's age so, I expected no more and no less since we stayed here before. It's located close to points of interest, or easy access to other attractions in the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However the motel is at best a 2 1/2 star facility. It is an older style motel with the sink outside of the bathroom. That makes if difficult when 1 person has to get up and get ready while the other tries to sleep. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. But this may be best location in Maggie Valley given the other options.

Visited Maggie Valley during Easter weekend 2019. The hotel was comparatively deserted, I assume due to the early season. The check-in, breakfast, and check-out staff were extremely friendly and polite. The price was right, however the hotel is definitely on the older side and could use some furnishing and hardware updates.

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting family. Check in was easy, our room was clean and spacious enough. Bathroom was clean and spacious as well. There was a slight odor from the AC, maybe just time for a new filter. They leave two large complementary bottles of water, a cookie and popcorn every day. It is a basic hotel breakfast, but everything is a short drive if you want something different. The pool was clean and towels provided which was a nice service. We did not use the fitness center but it looked to have updated equipment. The grounds were well kept with beautiful flowers. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was old and needed updating, fresh paint and was small in comparison to other BW motel rooms. The service at the front desk and maid services very good. Breakfast was o k but was served in the same area the front desk was located. There should be a choice of soaps offered as some people may have allergic reactions to the ingredients in the soap they place in their rooms. Had to use the pool at the motel next to this one (no reason was given).

The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Very friendly! The room was clean as well as the lobby. The breakfast was wonderful! They have a very large variety of food to select from and not your average continental. There are toppings for everything! It was delicious! Will be staying again in the future!

The Inn was clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. The decor was a little outdated and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not separate to the light and very noisy when on. The Inn was very quiet at night which was unusual considering the number of motocycles present.

My husband and I wanted to get away for an overnight trip and we went to Maggie Valley. This hotel is one of the nicest in the area. The rooms were really clean and I loved the pillows. The bed was firm but not hard. It slept very well. The mircowave on top of the mini refrigerator was kindof funny looking but it serviced the purpose. Overall I would stay here again. The hotel and service was great.

I made My reservation based on the location of this motel and price. I was very happy with the facility and the staff. The room was kept up well and every need was planned for by the housekeeping staff.

A buddy booked us a couple rooms so we could do some motorcycle stuff in the area. Maggie Valley (MV) is not a huge town so location is not critical, but we did walk to dinner one evening. MV is a great location for motorcycle activities with easy access to the interstate type transportation. Everything related to this hotel was handled the way it should have been. Rooms were clean & everything functioned as it should. Staff was helpful & friendly. Breakfast had a good selection of items other than "carbs". Parking was easy as was access to the main street through town. The keys were different, remind you of a SD card with a handle, not the "Credit Card" type used by most hotels now; worked well. Not related to the hotel, but there were a lot of closed businesses, especially restaurants in MV

I just spent 10 nights at the Best Western in Maggie Valley. Everyting was clean and in good working order. Room was well serviced everyday. Breakfast was good and attened by a very cheerful and helpful lady. Would definetly reommend.

The impression of ones stay at any hotel starts at the arrival at the front. That experience creates ones impression of their stay. Staff could use training in reservation skills as well as interface with the guest to make the arrival a positive experience.

We stayed here for a kid free trip with most activities taking place in Asheville. It was a good stay considering we only need the room to sleep and shower. Staff was nice, there's free breakfast including hot items. If you're on a special diet you may want to bring your own breakfast items. Nice rocking chairs are on the balcony for every room! Overall okay for a weekend trip.

This turned out to be a good stay. Staff went to extra lengths to accommodate our plans and schedule. We were traveling with a motorcycle in tow, but were easily accommodated. When our plans changed and we needed to extend our stay, the staff went to extra effort to make it possible.

Although this hotel is older, it is well maintained and CLEAN, beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast good with many selections for all. The staff personable and friendly. We have stayed here many times.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here. We had a great time. It was convenient to all our ramblings. It was quite and our fellow travelers were friendly. It's the first time I've ever rented a room that looked exactly like the picture. We even had a sofa.

About 22 mins from Cherokee Casino, which is the reason for our stay. Very clean room and very comfortable King Size Bed. The best part of the room was the hot shower with it's very strong water stream

Average hotel rooms, nothing fancy. The heater is the devil... all or nothing.... You can fry an egg on low!! With that said, the staff here are FANTASTIC!!!!!! Every single one of the ladies was super helpful. The breakfast was fresh and the coffee was always working! They recommended the Brick House for dinner!!! Great burgers! Close to the ski resort. Good choice for a stay in Maggie Valley. We would definitely stay at this place again.

This hotel was very pet friendly. Great space for them to walk. We needed a place will our new home here was closing and it worked out perfectly. We will use again and recommend to others to stay there well.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed/linens were new and comfy. The room was updated, but still some remnants of older room, popcorn walls/toilet, sink area had been renovated. Nice quiet room, easy access on 2nd floor, parking was good. Kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub area. Breakfast area was well-stocked and nice. I would definitely stay here again. Good price/excellent location for ski season - just down the road from Cataloochee Ski area and tubing and restaurants nearby.

This is an older Best Western Inn and very well maintained but could use renovation. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The older under window heating and cooling units were noisy and impossible to control. It seems we were always too hot or too cold. The shower was also difficult to set the water at a comfortable temperature. The people at the front desk were nice and always helpful.

We lost power and heat for a couple of days and needed a place to stay. I called and front desk told me I can come early to check it and get out of the cold. Staff was so nice. Rooms were very clean. The breakfast was great. They were the nicest hotel staff I have ever met!

The hotel is good for a non classic branded hotel and the rates of $60 a night really reasonable. Not far from Maggie valley ski slopes and local restaurants. The cable tv was not working and neither was the wi fi apparently due to the snow - we asked for a discount because of this but they said no! Seems unfriendly.

We found this hotel very easily. They are on US19 and convenient to many sights in the valley and Asheville. The rooms are OK but the staff is very responsive to any problem. The location is a bit dated but they are upgrading. The location in response to everything you want to see can't be beat. Lake Junaluska is near, Biltmore Estates, Cherokee, and Gatlinburg are not out of range. (Bryson City also) It snowed while we were there and was beautiful. Good place to stay the night.

Maggie Valley is a little town outside Asheville. The motel is in a scenic setting. It's clean and provides what you need. I stayed there the 1st weekend of leaf peepers, which wasn't the reason I was there, but it was $100/night less than anything in Asheville. As I said, really clean. The heat system worked ok for me. I think the new sink is a nice touch. The motel was quite busy the wkend I was there. I was 1st assigned a room right in the middle of the 2nd floor, top of the stairs. I went to that room and had a little trouble with that lock. I decided front and center might be noisy. It may not be, but the clerk was very nice and moved my assigned room to the end. That room was Quiet! I slept great. The bed was ok, a variety of pillows offered. I didn't try the breakfast. I needed a little help with the shower and called the desk. The person offered a couple of tips (I'm not good with anything mechanical) and also offered to come and help, but I did figure it out. It's not fancy. Clean, comfortable and safe trumps fancy for me.

Great location. Fair Price, Older motel but has a newer remodel. The hot tub and pool are shared with the adjoining hotel but was not crowded. Friendly front desk personel quick check in. The parkinglot was small but not over crowded. The rocking chairs on the front porch were a nice touch.

My girlfriends and I decided to take a trip to the mountains at short notice and I miraculously found a vacancy at this hotel. We usually do not like to stay at outside corridor places but after reading reviews decided this was a good place to stay. The two bed room was larger than expected and very clean. The beds are super comfortable. Microwave/fridge were of good size and perfectly accommodated our leftovers and my birthday cake (good eats in Maggie Valley and Cherokee). Our only negative of this place is trying to keep the temperature at a steady temp but not too terrible. It would have been nice to have another outlet in the sink area. I had to move the in-room coffee maker to another table since the only outlet was right next to the sink. The sink is outside of the shower/toilet area which is convenient when you have three women trying to get ready at the same time. We were not able to sample breakfast because the hours of breakfast are 6am-9am. 10am end time would have been better. Not everyone is an early bird. All in all, a great stay. Always felt safe. There is ample, well-lit parking. Beautiful views from our room. Staff is friendly, and I appreciated the fact we did not have to wait for someone to check us in at 2:30 a.m. I have checked in late at other chain hotels and have had to wait for "someone to come back" in 20-30 minutes. I/We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights. Room had "a damp feel" to it. AC seemed inefficient. Although room was adequately furnished it lacked what I would expect from a Best Western Hotel. Bed creaked when I moved.Breakfast was just about adequate.

When we stayed in room 218 (on the top floor) we were lucky enough to have almost the entire top floor of the hotel to ourselves. This meant things were very quiet at the hotel. There were no noise issues with fellow guests as they were non-existent! The hotel has two blocks, the front block where our room was located faced the road, as is usually the case traffic abates at night and hence road noise is much less during sleeping time. Road noise did not keep us awake, nor did I need to sleep with ear plugs. The hotel has another block in behind the block we stayed in at right angles to the road, hence these rooms are likely less exposed to road noise. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and a couch which is a rarity in most hotel rooms. Whilst our room was slightly dated everything worked. The bathroom basin is in the main room (refer to the photos), but the bathroom itself is very small. I had difficulty making the shower work, the tap arrangement was the most difficult to fathom on this holiday. On the Tuesday evening we stayed at the hotel there were only two food options open, a Sports Grill is located next-door to the hotel and the only other food option within walking distance of the hotel was Subway. The hotel's breakfast offered a very good selection of food and at the time of day we went (early) it was easy to find a table in the small breakfast area in the hotel's small reception area lobby. When we returned to drop the keys off at checkout latter in the morning the breakfast area was very congested (as you would expect).

Very good hotel and is conveniently located. It has a good continental breakfast and the servers are very nice. The bed was very comfortable but is high off the floor. We had no problem checking in and checking out.

A great place to stay in Maggie Valley! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, and breakfast is served early for guests who want to get out early and enjoy the beautiful nearby locations. Internet is reasonably fast and password protected. I will definitely stay here again on future trips.

We have stayed at this motel several times and have always been satidfied. The location is great - close to restaurants, shops and other needs. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is professional but friendly. They go out of there way to make our stay great. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here in the past. Maggie Valley is always a good stopping point during a trip. The hotel is always clean , no complaints. There is onsite washer and dryer available which is handy. Will stay again!

My husband and I are cyclists and whenever we can get there, we like to cycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are usually encountered to somewhere else, and can only give part of a day, so we like to find a hotel close to a parkway entrance. This one fit the bill. It is an older Best Western, but, the rooms have been very nicely updated. Also, because the entrance to the rooms are all outside, they have rocking chairs, and you can sit and rock and look at the mountains. Of course, the road is right there too, but, you can look up, not down!.the room and breakfast was great, and just four miles to the parkway!

Stayed here briefly on a stopover - will definitely plan on returning to the area and this will be my hotel of choice. Nothing fancy, just well appointed and maintained rooms with a terrific staff., and the location is central to the area's attractions.

We stayed here 5 years ago and was very pleased with this hotel, so we just stayed again and found it to be just as good as our last visit. The hotel is very clean, breakfast has something for everyone plus I love the rocking chairs in front of the rooms! Great area to explore and a friendly staff!

I booked three rooms. The rooms were very nice, updated, clean & comfortable. The staff were great. Has a great breakfast that included many options to choose from. Which was great for my grandchildren who are picky. I will stay here on my next visits to Maggie Valley, NC.

This was my first trip to Maggie Valley so I chose the BW because of the military and veteran discount. It's an older hotel, but very clean, comfortable, friendly staff and location. I had a king room which was very roomy, and quiet. You do hear some traffic noise on the front but that's not really a problem for me. They don't have an elevator so if you're disabled request a lower room.

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. It is a simple hotel nothing fancy. Breakfast was one of the worse I have had at a hotel with continental breakfast. And read this by another reviewer that the orange juice is watered down, I agree. The apple juice was fine but not the OJ. The hot tub was out of ordered. We stayed in 220 and the walkways are wood on the floor so had to listen to motorcycle boots stomp by one night. It was quiet other wise.

We stayed at this hotel for over a week and the staff continued to be friendly and attentive to our requests. the location is almost too convenient to the Elevated distillery across the street! The hotel is reasonably located near several places to eat without having to drive, another plus!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Staff was attentive, room was clean. Hotel has a nice inground pool amd free continental breakfast. We would stay here again. There is a lot to do nearby the hotel as well.

We vacation in Maggie Valley on a regular basis, and this is by far the best place to stay. Excellent rooms and fantastic, friendly people work here. Very clean rooms and a good breakfast too. Can't beat the value of Best Western if you're looking for a place to stay in Maggie Valley.

We made our reservations two weeks prior..no down payment to hold required. When we arrived there were motorcycles everywhere and we where told that they were hosting a Motorcycle Convention that would have a live band going on at night but if we were bothered with noise she would move us no problem. We had a room on the back side..room 221 facing the mountains. Beautiful view with rocking chairs by our door was a super plus. The band did start up ..if we walked around the corner from our room to the front you could here the music..however as soon as we turned to the back where our room was you could not hear anything but the wind and birds , Awesome room service..no complaints and if we ever go back to Maggie Valley this will be our place to stay for sure.

A friend and I stayed here for a night while riding up from Charlotte to see the museum and cruise the mountain roads. Great location to stay in Maggie Valley. Breakfast was available in the morning and the staff was friendly. Rocking chairs outside the rooms for a nice view of the sunset/sunrise. Walking distance to restaurant and liquor store. Refrigerator in the room. I will stay here again.

We had a one-night stay. The hotel was one of the older properties with the outside entrances. Even so, the room was clean, spacious and pretty quiet considering it faced the main road. We did not have any problems and the breakfast was good. The Asst. Mgr (Mindy) was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our visit. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed talking with the mom Sandy and daughters Sandy and Shandy who all work there, we also discovered Sandy's husband's name is Randy! We will be back.

Biker friendly motel with a very friendly staff. The room was clean, the grounds were well kept, the pool was heated and clean. The location is near the Blue Ridge Pkwy and also convenient to I-40. Near restaurants.

Made a last minute reservation you never really know what you are gonna end up with. I was VERY happy with it. Room was nice and clean. Beds very comfortable and my son loved the pool. Will be staying here again.

Very friendly and helpful reception upon check in. The room was all you needed...clean and comfortable. The door stuck some, so it took a little effort. The continental breakfast was as expected, and there were some eggs and sausage...not the best, but not the worst...make your own waffles as well. The website for this location indicated that pets were not allowed...but, they DO allow pets in 5 rooms on the ground floor in the back building. I asked the morning desk person and she said they do allow pets in those 5 rooms and also acknowledged the "No pets" on the website. She didn't get the contradiction. There is a choice of indoor or outdoor pool, but the indoor was closed...the outdoor one could have used some skimming. Next door is a bar and grill that had a good beer selection and a passable burger.

This is about the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at this location while attending a conference in the area. While it is nothing fancy, it has been consistently very good in all aspects. The front desk staff is welcoming and really want to help. I requested a certain room and they accommodated me. Most of the rooms have 2 queen beds, mini-fridge and microwave with a small table. It is the only motel that I have stayed in that has a sanitized remote for the TV. Beds and pillows are good allowing for a good night's sleep. Their is an A/C unit for each room that is located under the window. Sometimes a little noisy, but very efficient. Stayed here for a Car Show at the Fair Grounds since it was close. The staff here were all very nice and easy to deal with... loved the breakfast! Room prices are good and rooms clean. Most of whats going on here you could really walk to if you'd like. Enjoyed it and have booked for next year!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Sweet outdoor heated pool. Hot tub didn't work but they let you go next door and use the one at the hotel next door so that was cool. We usually stay in one of the hotels in the next town over but this hotel was worth a few extra miles. There is a lot to do in the area too so get out and enjoy!!!

We love staying here at Mountain Brook Inn Best Western. The staff are friendly , courteous and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is in the greayest location. The FREE breakfast is very good. This was our 8th stay here and we plan to come back.

This was our first time to Maggie Valley and found this hotel through Trip advisor. I called hotel to confirm reservation since I have never booked through a 3rd party. The lady at the desk was so nice, and provide me with the info I needed. When we arrived the staff was just as friendly in person. Our room was very nice, couldn't hear hardly any outside noises. We also had the luxury of the outdoor pool that Best Western offered and the indoor pool and hot tub at hotel next door. The breakfast was pretty good for what they had to offer. We really enjoyed our stay here and diffently will be back.

When we checked into our room 116 we found that the room stunk horribly and was generally dirty all over. The carpet was buckled up and looked very dirty. The manager apologized and we settled on another less "used" room. First let me say that for room 123 our bed, linens, bath surround and sink were all good. The carpet looked less dirty and the room stank less and was pretty clean otherwise. We sprayed our room down with Lysol and hoped for the best. However, what we discovered that evening is that the source of the "dirty socks" odor was the filthy carpet. The proof - our FILTHY socks! The socks on the left are what my socks looked like before. (I had packed 3 pair for the trip) How trip advisor gave this hotel a top "1st best" - or "3rd best" depending on the day - is way beyond my ability to understand. I hope to share this review with "Best Western" since this does not represent my own experience with this brand. In my opinion, since this is the beginning of this hotel's travel season - there is absolutely no excuse for this total disregard for the well being of their customers.

The barhroom was the size of a hall closet . The toilet constantly ran, the air conditioning sounded like a freight train, and it was Bike Week with loud motorcycles coming and going All night. Plus, drunk people were slamming doors. NEVER AGAIN.

We stayed here one night while on our way to the Cataloochee Valley. The room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet. Centrally located in Maggie Valley. The room was a good value for the price paid.

We were passing through on our anniversary trip for our 15th wedding anniversary. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff that we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. We stay in this area quite often and will definitely stay here again.

This place is immaculate, comfortable, and close to everything Maggie Valley NC. has to offer. Being handicap the room was perfect and was able to enjoy our stay with no problems. Would highly recommend this Inn

The front desk was extremely helpful during our short stay. The hotel is older and could use some updating but it's a great value for just a place to sleep. The only problem we had was noisy, screaming kids in the night running up and down the walkways but that isn't the hotel's fault. Breakfast was adequate and had a good selection, although they were out of yogurt. Outside needs updating. The electrical outlet is awkward next to the sink, there needs to be another one along the counter.

We stayed here for two reasons: we needed a place close to Cataloochee Ski resort, and we needed a pet-friendly room. We got both with this place. It could not have been easier nor more accomodating to bring our dog. They even have a doggy yard just outside of the dog-friendly rooms. This is an added touch that makes 3 a.m. doggy breaks super easy. I loved it, and our dog loved it. Maggie Valley is a quaint little town to visit, and this hotel made our visit almost effortless. The rooms were nice, the beds were awesome, and the breakfast was good and hearty. We stayed here two times for two nights each in just 30 days to hit the ski slopes, and both times we had a great experience bringing our dog with us. We will be staying here from now on whenever we are in this area. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place to stay in Maggie Valley.

We had 2 nights stop here and this place was beyond expectations. This one was one of our money saver stays during our road trip and it was well worth what we paid and more. Good beds, nice mountain view and quiet road, i liked it. staff was friendly and helpful. Nice clean breakfast area with all the american basics in there. I would go again.

Failed to clean the room and provide clean towels, sheets , soap both nites there. Also suspected the room was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. When questioned about this manager denied. All other hotel employees more than exceeded my expectations. My recommendation would be to be aware of both manager and cleaning staff.

We stayed at this hotel and was greeted with a smile. We got in around 6pm and got to the room. Clean, comfortable, heater on! From the lights in the mountains I know we are in the cusp of the valley... breakfast was hot and plentiful... we even got to eat at the salty dog Christmas Eve! Amazing... just a great stay!

I really didn't care to write something but your servey would not let me skip it. The hotel was clean, spacious and affordable.The only thing I felt a little uncomfortable with ,being a single female traveler my room was at the very back of the hotel,,at no point did I fear for my safety,but I think that should be taken into consideration.

This motel has the advantage of being in the heart of a beautiful part of the country and looks out on the sizable mountains, for the Appalachians. The motel is old style strip mall type arrangement with nice sized rooms and full amenities. The bed has a plush topper and was quite comfortable. Water for shower was hot and lots of pressure.

Motel was clean and neat. We were there during the slow time of the season so it was quiet. Rooms were clean and bed and pillows were nice. Breakfast was better than most other motels. Would stay again when in the area

Wife and I stayed here for an overnight while en route back home. We were looking for a nice property away from the high activity areas. Maggie Valley worked out just fine. The BW met all of our needs at an extremely reasonable price. The folks were friendly and helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable. What more could we ask for. Will return if ever back this way. Recommended

Really enjoyed staying in Maggie Valley at this meticulously maintained & nicely decorated Best Western with a wonderful outdoor area & rocking chairs too! It was a crisp, but beautiful November evening & the smell of the mountains waifed throughout the exceptionally clean parking area & "backyard".

This was a pleasant and clean hotel. The rooms were quiet and the clerk that helped with our reservation and checked us in was very pleasant and polite. The room was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Not crazy about the sinks that were like dishpans sitting on the counters but they worked.

The hotel as conveniently located on the highway, the staff was friendly, the room was quiet, so I got a good night's sleep and the breakfast was hot and good. The only problem i had was with the wi-fi quality.

The staff are friendly, the rooms are quiet, bed provides a nice sleep, the breakfast was nice and hot but there is no separate dining area. The dining area is in the lobby just in front of the registration desk and can only accommodate about ten people.

Staff is very friendly and courteous. Price for the room was more affordable than other competing hotel brands. Also, I appreciated the waffle option on the breakfast bar. Felt safe, despite some noisy voices from traveling bikers. Mountain views are gorgeous.

The hotel ownership has done a very good job updating/modernizing this roadside hotel. Our ground floor room was in the back building - clean, comfortable, quite, secure and pet friendly. My only suggestion is I wish breakfast could have be available till 10A vs 9A

This best western is centrally located and very reasonable at the seasonal peak of travel. The staff were nice and helpful and the area/room etc. was clean and the view was awesome. We would stay again in this area/hotel.

Visit was pursuant to tour of Blue Ridge Parkway leaf change in late October. Area was filled with tourists and facility was full. Staff was courteous and willing to help with any request they could fulfill. Facility is a little dated in decor but clean. Room looked fresh daily for out 3 day stay.

My wife and myself wanted to go see the fall leaves. There were several Best Westerns in the Smokey Mountain area. I picked this one because of the location and the pictures on the internet and because they were pet free ( wife has dog allergies). The rooms did not reflect the pictures and a bit deceiving.

Staff is courteous and helpful. Hotel is very clean inside and out. Room was excellent, with a mini fridge, microwave, plus all the expected amenities. Price was good, $100.00 a night at the end of high season here in the valley. Convenient location for day trips as a base of ops. Quiet at night, and safe inside and out. If you are visiting Maggie Valley I would choose this hotel, reservations in high season are recommended.

This motel is in a severely depressed area and draws a shady clientele. The area has nothing to offer other than a place to stay while passing through on the way to casinos, if that's your thing. I suppose it's clean enough but, we didn't feel safe there and it was way over priced.

The staff, especially Shandy, was extremely attentive to ensuring the comfort and stay of our family and I will stay here again. I also encourage others to stay here as it offers many opportunities for interesting places to eat and visit, all within easy walking distance.

We stayed in a family suite. The suite was newly updated. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Liked parking outside our room. Towels not fancy, Nice and clean. Plenty of hot water! Good free WiFi. Had an extra blanket in the room. Would have liked better or more pillows. Used reviews and brought a pillow, it made it much better.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel was pet friendly. Most of the hotels in the area that are pet friendly are also sub standard. The Best Western was clean and comfortable and the room was a good size. We were happy to be there.

We stayed here on our bike trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel is very clean and biker friendly. There are rocking chairs outside every room to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air. There is a pool and hot tub that is landscaped very nicely. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very clean. Great staff and great location There is only a small negative but this is not only to BW We carry so many electronic devices with us now that we need more plugs or USB ports to charge multiple devices. Again this is not just a BW issue

Bathroom had a distinct moldy smell.When I mentioned to the front desk at checkout I was told this was the first complaint which is very hard to believe. The beds were very squeaky. It appears the property was being refurbished but they should have started with the bathrooms.

Not worth price, $60 hotel at most. Room smelled like smoke, bed squeaked, no water pressure, old microwave and frig, second room smelled like mildew, low quality, great service, will not stay again. Do not stay here at all. Waste of money. Very nice area. Heated pool was nice. Rocking chairs outside were nice touch.

This Best Western was very clean and convenient to shops, restaurants and sites. We enjoyed the privacy of the our room located in the back area overlooking the pool. We will definitely come back again if in this area again. The beds were heavenly, the WIFI worked great and the TV was great. We would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

We stayed at this motel one night on a weekend trip to the Great Smokey Mountains. The property was clean. Our room was very nice and had a very comfortable bed, and a good view of the mountains. This is a non smoking property, however the smell of cigarette smoke was very strong in our room. It appears a prior guest had either smoked in our room or the adjacent room which allowed the smoke to get into the vents. We are non smokers. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for many motorcycling day trips. Very comfortable and relaxing to come back to the rocking chairs on the balcony after riding all day. Very motorcycle friendly as is all of Maggie Valley.

TWO pools! And a Big Ol' Hot Tub! Really nice rooms - Great location and attentive Staff, Some one please tell Ashley she is a great employee.....above and beyond expectations. Will stay anytime we are in that area. If on a Motorcycle.....You won't want to leave!.

The hotel is well maintained-as our toilet actually overflowed the first night. This was after the employee kept flushing it and adjusting the water. They immediately got bleach and cleaned it up. Breakfast ends early at 9, so don't sleep in! They have rocking chairs at the entrance to each room. The rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave, iron,hair dryers, free wifi, a good size tv and 2 chairs and a table. It's conveniently located next to a restaurant but I was informed Not to eat there. Hotel is clean, has an indoor jacuzzi and an outside heated pool. I don't see fire sprinklers in the rooms which I have in my state hotels. We paid more for weekend rates then during the week. It was on the expensive side, but desperate due to hurricane evacuation.

A very nice, biker friendly motel. Clean rooms, great beds, a hot breakfast and good internet service. There are rocking chairs placed outside each room to enjoy the pleasant days, or visit with friends. Quiet nights for restful sleep.

The BW Mountainbrook Inn was a great place to stay while we were in Maggie Valley. It was clean, well-lit, and close to everything. We love Maggie Valley and will definitely be back! The staff were friendly and very helpful upon check-in and made sure our entire stay was comfortable. The breakfast offered several different choices and we were happily full when we left in the morning to spend our day riding the NC mountains on our motorcycle. The pool looked inviting and clean but unfortunately, I'll have to try it out next time we're through.

This is a great location if you are riding a motorcycle or just visiting the area. Right off the Blue ridge Parkway, on the edge of the Smokey Mtn National park, etc. Lots of things to do and see. The facility is very well maintained, clean, great beds and great staff. Would recommend this to anyone.. Also lots of golf in the area if thats your game..

The hotel is a bit older but it's clean and very reasonable in price. It is also pet friendly which was great since we are traveling with our 2 pups. The room smelled a little musty upon arrival but soon diminished after we turned the AC on (normal for an older hotel) . The views from the hotel are amazing. There is a large selection of free breakfast items (including gluten free items) and there is a newer looking heated pool and hottub outside. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I checked in with Ashley at the front desk and she was great at helping me find my room and setting me up for a Best Western rewards card. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

This was not a bad stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The net saved me as I had no phone signal in that part of the state. Plenty of hot water and the breakfast was great. The bed left me sore and unable to move properly but I think it was the one in the room I was in because other guest had no issues with the beds.

Could not have had a better experience away from home! The staff here are the friendliest people and made us feel totally at home and comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is not as good as it was before. But it is still good and we will stay here again. The views are great! The pool and hot tub are Great! Breakfast is ok. Wifi is very good. Rooms are average and a little dated, but clean. There is plenty to do nearby. Staff is friendly.

Cozy hotel that is close to many activities. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was good and plentiful. I will definitely stay again. Also the vanity area is big and nice for the ladies that require a lot of room.

We chose Maggie Valley to avoid the noise and congestion in Cherokee, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It's a beautiful little community close to interstate or winding mountains roads. A variety of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay. The only shortfall of our room was a stale musty order which we resolved by lighting candles. We have found that this is not uncommon and always carry some with us on trips. Enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this Best Western.

it was a great stay for tge hillbilly hodown jam. we reccomend all stay at this Best Western. alot of hotels are dirty and not with good staff. This Best Western by far is one of the best our staff has stayed at.

Delightful hotel with brand new, wonderfully comfortable mattresses,easy to find on main road through Maggie Valley, which is surrounded by beautiful mountains. The pool and little hot tub room are very well maintained and attractive.The hotel is conveniently located near Waynesville and area attractions. Hotel personnel were very personable and friendly, very eager to help their guests.

Stayed in dozens of times, love parking motorcycle with a few feet from room door, talking to everyone at night setting in rockers. Hot tub is big and clean, pool is big and clean, WiFi good, breakfast is OK.... Highly recommend.

I stayed one night at Best Western Mountainbrook Inn in Maggie Valley. I chose it as it was pet friendly. Nice room, comfortable bed, great yard for pets with porch and rocking chair. Really liked it.

This is a very nice hotel, great location for the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wheels through Time Museum and the Smokey Mountains. Very nice mattress' and nice hot tub/ pool. Staff were friendly. Excellent part of the country for motorcycle riding!

This was a great trip and we always enjoy our time in Maggie Valley. The rooms, the people, the place is quaint and quiet and we have always enjoyed it. Love the rocking chairs and cool evenings. Will always book here when in this part of North Carolina

We stayed here for two nights in July. The rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast seemed more like a hot breakfast complete with waffles, sausage and eggs! The air worked good in the room and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool was heated and the hot tub was great. You really can't go wrong with this hotel if you're on a budget.

The hotel was pretty run down but Maggie Valley is a beautiful place to stay. The hotel could really use some upkeep. If this was done we would definitely stay again. They could also use a little more variety with the breakfast. One of our friends has allergies so wasn't able to eat anything.

Curtious and professional staff greeted us promptly making sure we were made aware of any and all discounts. The hotel was spotless and comfortable inside and out. The motorcycles were more than welcomed at this BW location, secure parking and cleaning supplies provided at check in

If this hotel had been up to the standards of the numerous Best Westerns where we have stayed all over the country, we would have been satisfied. However, the website was misleading. The "renovations" consisted of a vessel sink that was totally out of place. If anything else was renovated, I would hate to have seen it before. Our room (#110) was clammy, always felt like the carpet was damp, the a/c was not working properly, our "Queen" beds that we requested were doubles, the "kindergarten sized" toilet stopped up twice. Once we had to call the office at 10 p.m., the girl who showed up to fix the toilet never said one word to us and looked very annoyed. The 2nd time the toilet actually just started running over at 3 a.m. our last night before leaving. We needed to be up on the road very early and spent from 3 a.m. to after 4 a.m. trying to soak up the water from the bathroom floor and out into the carpeted area. Had to go to the office for towels, the person there offered no word except "here's your towels." While soaking up all the overflowed water we could see how dirty the bathroom floor and the carpet was. I could not even take a shower in the morning because of all the wet towels in the tub. The daily breakfast was mediocre, not as good as other Best Westerns. We go to the Waynesville area at least twice a year to visit family. We thought we would change BW locations for a change of scenery, however, we will not go back, because we found this location to not be the "Best" Western. I might mention that upon checking out we were given a big $45 dollar discount for the "toilet problem."

Fair priced, excellent kept up rooms with nice pool. A nice hot tub enclosed separately. AC worked great, super towels, nice granite countertop to spread out on, wonderful cute bowl sink, space to easily walk around both sides of 2 queen beds, rockers outside each room, a big green backyard lawn, and a regular breakfast made a nice quite, comfortable stay. If you want really quiet ask for back section.

When our group checked in, we were on day 11 of a 2 week motorcycle trip. I was tired and ready to relax. Check in was smooth, but then we couldn't get in our room. The front desk clerk came down right away and tried several times to fix it before calling someone else. Turns out the whole reader had to be replaced. It was fixed within 10 minutes and never had another issue. We stayed 2 days, and during that time the entire staff was friendly and helpful.

dont believe what they tell you online.Maggey valley is into price up .Hotel shower need repair.Shower head was sticking out of wall.They need more quality of ammeneties.Air conditioner did not work properly.There was aplastic cover over vent to prevent air from cooling room properly.there was banging outside my room.They should do theit maintinence when no one is there.There is no cell service there only if you have verizon.

Wonderful place for all our family to spend time together exploring the Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Lake Junaluska area! Would definitely recommend Best Western Mountainbrook Inn! Staff were very accommodating; hot tub and pool were clean and very refreshing. Breakfast items were delicious!

Easy checkin. Room was nice but not new, there were some updates. There was lots of light and it had more than enough outlets for our electronics. The wifi was strong and worked well. Only problem was the tub, hard to adjust water temperature and did not drain well. The breakfast room was small and although they had sausage and potatoes there were no hot eggs.. the staff were very good

Typically what you expect from a best Western, Good sized well furnished clean room, nice clientele, Good breakfast (nice choice of good quality food) down side, dinning area is far too small. renovation work was going on at time of our visit. Staff were spot on.

This is not a negative review. It is to show that it is hard to find a bad thing to say about this motel. The computer is at the end of the breakfast shelf and one must sit on a high chair or stand up. Other than that everything is good. We were also here for Geowoodstock. We will return in the fall and will stay at this Best Western.

We were attending Geowoodstock this weekend and there were other events, including some nice bikers Check in was easy and very nice. The hotel is old so the set up was as expected. The rooms have been redone lately and the beds and bedding were new and the pillows good. My only issue that could not be overcome was the first morning and running out of hot water. The shower heads were great but too many people showering at the same time so the hot water just ran out. The hotel was Very convenient and the fridge was another positive. We will likely stay again if in the area The area is so pretty and we did a lot and learned a lot about the area. We are at the breakfast the first day and tried Joeys the second day. Joeys was fantastic and so close to the hotel too. The breakfast was adequate too so you can eat and get on with your day right there on property. Thanks again for the nice service.

Stayed 4 nights. Clean, Comfortable and centrally located in Maggie Vally. Pleasant staff. We travelled the Blue Ridge Parkway, Smokey Mnt National Park and numerous waterfalls. Very pleasant and relaxing vacation.

Clean room, even though it was a pet room. No odor! Pet area just outside our room. Reasonable pet fee. Room was well appointed and updated. Iron/board, coffee maker (single cup), hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator included. Breakfast included large choice of hot and cold items. Friendly staff. Good location with pretty views. We will return.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. We were in the dog section in back, very quiet and a park like setting. There's rockers to sit on outside the rooms, an enclosed hot tub, pool wasn't ready. Rooms have been updated. There's also free breakfast. Front desk was very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Every times we come to stay with Best Western its always a pleasure cause I have never has to wait to check in when I get there they always give me the option of checking in when I get there if I'm a little early that why I stay there all the time and the price of the stay are Great.

We decided to travel to Waynesville, NC for the annual Ramp Festival, one of our favorite food groups. There was also a motorcycle rally in the area and our preferred hotel was booked. I selected the Best Western in Maggie Valley which is about ten miles from our destination. The price was out of reason at $150.00 a night, but they were pretty much sold out due to the seasonal events. I had booked two nights, but only stayed one. One was all we could take. I preface this review with a note that I had been in the tourism business for twenty years prior to retirement. You do not want to stay at this place. We arrived at 12:30 of a Friday afternoon after calling the property to see in an early checkin would be possible. Mary, the front desk manager, said she had a room available in the back part of the property. She was very efficient and prompt with the checkin. The room seemed to have been recently refurbished with the only physical deterrent being the floors could have been cleaner. The lighting in the room was satisfactory. There were only two small chairs, one at the desk and another against the wall. Room 122 needed to have the fan in the bathroom repaired. It made a loud noise so we just kept the light and fan off during our stay. One switch controlled both items. There was a flat screen TV with a sanitized remote control. You could not directly input the channel numbers with the remote and had to resort to just scrolling through all the channels to get to the desired station. The physical property gave me some concerns. There is an empty swimming pool, but is not secured by a locked gate. Some unsupervised child could easily fall into the pool. A big liability in my opinion. Another concern was the back parking lot. During our first two hours two beat up old cars parked. The drivers got out and opened their trucks displaying various boxes of "Merchandise". The stayed around for about twenty minutes with no customers and finally drove away. There is a security camera, but I am not sure anybody is monitoring the activity. The included breakfast is pathetic. The orange juice is watered down. There are a few bread products, watery scrambled eggs, some fruits, sausage and some other miscellaneous items. From a safety point there are two hot waffle irons running. One unaccompanied boy was attempting to make a waffle and could have been easily burned if another customer had not stepped in and made the waffle for him. The guest I referred to in the title of this review was a bug in my bed when I woke up this morning. I don't know if it was a bed bug, but it was a bug in the bed. I have included a photo as proof of this statement. You may have to increase the size of the photo to see the detail. Don't stay at this property. I have sent a copy of this review to Michael Patel, the property manager. In earlier reviews where a bug in the bed has been found he replies that he does hot have bed bugs. He does have bugs in the bed.

We stayed at the Best Western in Maggie Valley to ski at Cataloochee ski area because it is one of the closer locations to the road to the ski area. Nothing very special. Nothing very bad. Beds and mattresses were comfortable.

We checked in Friday afternoon. Excellent customer service and very nice property. Hotel parking was a little confusing since I haven't been before and was pulling a big trailer. Got turned around no problem. Checked out a day early and the staff worked with us on checking out and getting some money back for the extra night. We will be staying there again soon.

This was our 3 yard staying in Maggie Valley. Each time we have stayed some where different . But we have found the place we will be at every year. Only bad thing I seen was there is very lil parking in the back, and the beds were very hard

Everything exceeded expectations. Service was excellent, room was comfy. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. An added bonus was being surrounded by The Great Smokey Mountains. Very fun trip.m

We had a very nice stay. The lady who checked us in was very nice ,helpful and pleasant. Housekeeping did a great job and breakfast was good. Didn't like the overnight front desk man. He wasn't very pleasant and check out was very confusing.

Toilet backed up twice in two days. Small gravity flow toilets. They should be power flush. Too much noise from the second floor. It woke me up multiple times through out the night. No handicap designated parking.

Bad advice from Asheville visitor center to go to Maggie Valley. Stayed in Best Western which is next door and shared by micro hotel. Drove into town from blue ridge parkway - town looked washed up. Found Best Western - asked girl at desk for somewhere to eat. She says -don't know -never been out to eat! Room smelled of dingy old smoke. She offered another room but likely the same cos big biker rally town. Overall room was ok but needs remodel and fresh air - can't open windows. Pool was being grinder - so concrete dust everywhere. Next day drove to Town of Cherokee - wish we had stayed on that town. Beautiful, clean and full of things to do. I would not recommend Maggie Valley or Best Western.

The non smoking room had a faint smoky and musty smell. Do not stay here if that will bother you. The king handicap room was very clean though and the decor and furnishings seemed new. The bed was comfortable and linens seemed clean. The shower had a decent water flow which was nice. Everything worked as it should - bath fixtures, refrigerator, TV, lamps, etc. Breakfast experience was horrible as they ran out of food and even coffee every day and seemed annoyed when asked to restock. The dining area is very small and couldn't accommodate everyone there.

Second time to stay here, two KSNS rooms/ seniors. Were placed upstairs with no elevator or inside stairs. Had to drag our luggage upstairs in the rain and snow flurries. Rooms were full of smoke smell, asked for NON-SMOKING rooms. Breakfast area was NOT large enough for everyone to eat, had to go to another place. There was only one employee on site, handling everything, not a good experience, would not reccommend this facility.

Pleasant we had a great time the Hotel was a little far away but we made it work the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We travel with our dog the facility was very accommodating

This Best Western was in a very nice location. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We will be staying there again. There was eating and some shopping within walking distance or you could sit outside in the rockers and enjoy the view, visit with other guests, or just chill in your room. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is an older motel but they have done EVERYTHING to update and make it nice. Very clean. Friendly staff The only negative we could find was noisy upstairs people but we forgot to leave a fan on for noise, so that's on us! I have a very bad back and the bed was great!

This hotel is a simple mountain side inn, but it is well kept. The rooms are immaculately decorated and kept. The staff is polite and professional. If I return to this area, I will consider this inn again.

We booked a quick getaway and had no idea about Maggie Valley. The price was good and the reviews were good so we thought why not. We were pleasantly surprised our room was updated and clean. The only complaint was road noise which couldn't be helped. The employees were all very nice. On Saturday we were going to Joey's Pancake House but the line there was long so decided to just get breakfast at the hotel. We were glad we went back to the hotel we had waffles and eggs and sausage and it was free. There breakfast bar had just about everything a person might want. I would recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, rooms were clean, looks to be well maintained. Breakfast was sufficient. Very beautiful location in the mountains. We got there late at night because of delays so didn't get spend a lot of time in the area, but were satisfied with the time we spent. There looks to be a lot to do in the immediate area just wish we had time. It was late fall and a lot of businesses were closed for season, so not much to do when we left town in the morning.

We always stay at this motel when we travel to the Cherokee area. They are always very friendly and helpful. The pet friendly rooms are clean and neat. The pet outdoor area is nice.They have an outdoor pool, an indoor, heated pool, and an enclosed hot tub.

I have stayed here a few times and find it good. Rooms have been clean, fairly up to date, and comfortable. There is a Free breakfast, and is good for the price, free. Parking is good, and is centered for easy travel for local trips to many mountain attractions . Price is OK, considering the amount of visitors to this beautiful area in North Carolina

very nice hotel steps were scary and breakfast was not very good but over all the good location makes the other things tolerable. Girl when we checked in was very nice and helpful. bed was good. we will stay at this hotel again but i would not bring kids to this hotel.

A Tues nite stay and the price of $130 plus tax to equal $144 was not what I expected. Nice enough room but everyone checking in at our time frame, between 2-5 p.m. were put on the 2nd floor. No elevator and we were all over 60, some with bad knees and hips. We asked for the AARP discount but it was not applied. Comfortable room and bathroom. Chairs on the balcony. Ice machine downstairs. I asked if all lower level rooms were booked and was told yes, but that was not true. We talked to some folks that checked many hours after we did. Maybe they save the bottom rooms for people travelling with dogs, I don't know. The continental breakfast was lacking and stale sweet rolls were terrible. We tried one with coffee and after one bite threw it away and headed to a place for breakfast. It was quiet and clean and the beds were comfortable. Way over priced.

Basic older roadside motel with rooms facing street. No real public area. Good. Rooms have been renovated. Nice decor, comfortable beds, very clean. If your primary criteria is a safe, clean room then this motel fits. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee in room. Not so good. Tiny breakfast area, about four tables in the registration area. Continental breakfast plus waffles, no hot items. Space is so small and crowded, it was difficult to maneuver even to get coffee. If breakfast is important to you, it may mean eating in your room. Plenty of options. Three kinds of fresh fruit, cereals including instant oatmeal, muffins and breads, boiled eggs and yogurt.

We stayed two nights in this motel. We had family members stay in two other rooms as well. The next morning we all talked of how comfortable the beds were and how clean the rooms were. We all will stay here again.

Nice people,but the carpets were very dirty. They hotel was very quite,close to the places were we wanted to go to. Had a small pet with us,she was also ok with the stay.The beds were great.Water pressure was also good.

Stayed at this motel a couple years ago so we booked a night again on a recent trip. They are friendly, efficient, clean rooms and this time some updates have been done. The property has a pool and hot tub, free breakfast and is located on the Main St. through town. We had a room on the second story, no elevator, but our room faced the mountains and we were able to watch the sunrise in the morning and enjoy the view, fall colors, over our first cup of coffee. The rates are very good, the beds are super comfortable.

The rocking chairs outside each room are a special touch. All the people working there are very nice and the breakfast was great. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants, other things to do. Our room was in the back area of the inn and it was very quiet.

It was convenient to restaurants and shops. Short drive or casual walk. This time of year was beautiful. The fall colors were so rich on the mountains. This was my first time visiting this area. I would return and consider staying at this Best Western location. I would also be happy to recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed at three hotels during our Smokey Mountain honeymoon, and this was by far the cleanest, most comfortable of our rooms. They have clearly been recently remodeled. Breakfast was excellent (waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, coffee, etc), staff was helpful and attentive, and the location was super convenient. If we stay again, we will ask for a room that is upstairs and in the front, so that we can better enjoy the gorgeous view!

The accommodations were lovely! Attractive, comfortable, very updated with granite counters and stylish sinks. I loved the shower unit, a complete until installed without grout and caulk that always seems to attract mildew. The colors were pleasant, and décor was relatively new, and beds very comfortable. For a fast breakfast, there was quite a variety of hot and cold items., Will certainly consider staying there again when in the area.

Came in late at night and needed a last minute hotel. This place is great. The view of the mountain is awesome, people are very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and just a great atmosphere. Would definitely come back maybe next time without the kids so we can use the hot tub

The rooms where really nice. I loved that each room has a pair of rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Want to give a shout out to Ashley the night desk clerk, she was absolutely adorable and helpfull. Truly enjoyed our stay. They also accept dogs.

We went to Maggie Valley for the Mustang car show on Oct 1, 2016 and stayed at this hotel for one night. This is one of the best hotels that we've stayed in...ever!!!! The room was excellent....the carpet was fresh and clean, the vanity and bathroom were beautiful and had a window that overlooked the pool(that looked amazing but we didn't try it out because the weather was a bit chilly), the beds slept better than at home and the location was awesome!!!! Rocking chairs outside our door and a beautiful view of the mountains!!!! If we are able to go to the show next year or any other time we visit Maggie Valley we will definitely be a repeat customer of this Best Western Mountainbrook Inn!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone!!!!

This Best Western is conveniently located to many restaurants and a great coffee shop. The rooms where pleasant, very comfortable bed. A nice variety of hot breakfast items,including eggs, sausage and pancakes.

This Best Western appears to be recently updated. Very clean, grounds (especially in the back) were pretty and well maintained! Rocking chairs are provided outside each room. Very clean, complimentary soaps and shampoo, etc. were nice. Sound was not a problem, we could not hear people talking in next rooms or walking upstairs! It is pet friendly, but we were not traveling with our pet. Price was reasonable and staff were professional and helpful!

We tried a new place on this visit to Maggie Valley, just for a different perspective, and we were quite happy. Although the first room we were given smelled of smoke, and it was clearly designated as a non smoking room, we were quickly and politely given another room in the same quiet area of the hotel that we had advance requested. The beds gave a restful sleep, the location in the back of the hotel had 2 rockers at the front door that overlooked montains, and we were close to the indoor hot tub, which was well maintained. We didn't do the breakfast as we are great fans of Pops Grits, a great place quite close by. We'd stay here again, the price was right, the location was convenient, and the facility was clean and welcoming.

Very warm welcome by front desk. Hotel right on main street in town. We asked for a first floor room and they did accommodate us. The hotel was full. They gave us a room in the building in back of main building. No view but quiet! Rocking chairs outside. Ice machine was close by. Area for breakfast was not though. So if you don't like a lot of walking back area not for you. Our room had great beds and a separate area for sink. There was a microwave & refrigerator. TV on small side but ok. There was a table & 2 chairs. Only problem with room we had was dog barking for 2 hours straight. Can't believe people are so inconsiderate. They probably went to a late dinner & left dog in room. Annoying! Breakfast was ready when we got there. Sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal & other assorted items to include fruit, cereal, etc. Coffee was hot! You also could take a continental breakfast to go. There were a number of bikers staying here but no extra noise like someone had noted previously. Everyone seemed very nice & cordial. We got up early so we could head to Cataloochee to see Elk & explore. This was close & only a short drive. All in all a nice place for a short stay. Our only request is to upgrade lighting. With all the new led light bulbs available it is a must today. Our reading lamp bulb burnt out which we reported at check out.

Mountainbrook Inn is clean, beds are comfy, staff is professional and caring. Grounds were clean and well cared for. Breakfast was nice and well stocked. Lots of travel advice and maps available regarding local interesting sites. Dog friendly!

40 couples on 40 motorcycle trikes were no problem for these folks. Our rooms were always clean, the owner furnished a propane grill for us to cook out on, and the wooden rocking chairs placed two to a room were a nice finishing touch. The room rates were average for the area. I plan on staying again next year.

With Maggie Valley being part of picturesque North Carolina, you must go and participate in the activities to hiking to golf to shopping. The mountains are beautiful this time of the year and the folks just wonderful

We were very lucky to be able to get the last room open here on labor day week end. The price was a little more because of it being a Holiday week end. The room was great,the beds comfortable. We were more then happy with every thing the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would stay here again.

Rooms r clean, bathroom is small, the beds was squeaky, breakfast was average carb breakfast waffles, yogurt, scrambled eggs, English muffins, you get the idea. With the sports bar being next door made up for everything. I would stay here again

The location of the hotel is great. We had a enclosed trailer and they made room for us to park. The staff was great and very helpful in recommending places to eat, and any events going on. We have stayed here several times, and plan on staying in the near future!

1night on our way home. Very clean, very friendly and breakfast included. The bed are brand new with tags still on them, very high off floor, more pillows than I could use. The bathrooms are small, lots of counter space and a desk with 2 chairs. The night got cool out so we sat outside the door, they have 2 rockers there. Not much of a mountain view from front door or back window. We would stay again. Lots of shopping and mom and pop restraunts.

Reasonable prices, good restaurants within 2 miles either direction, all in all a great stay. Near enough to Cherokee for Casino or 1 hour away from Bryson City for Great Smokey Mountains trains. The views from the hotel are excellent, the Mountains hold you in their hand

The staff at this hotel is awesome. They are incredible on every level! So friendly, so kind and they really know the area. The rooms are updated and clean in this particular property. The bathroom sinks are vessels!! The room was spotless. Great parking. Guest pool and indoor hot tub. Nice view. In the middle of everything Maggie Valley has to offer. You may find another hotel equal but you won't find one any better than this Best Western!

Have stayed here at the Best Western Mountainbrook Inn many times over several years. Have always been met by friendly staff that have always made my stay a good one. The rooms have been remodeled and they are always clean. Location has great views of the mountains. I'm looking forward to the next trip this fall when the leaves change. And I plan on staying at the Best Western Mountainbrook Inn.

A great hotel in the heart of Maggie Valley. Great service, clean, very nice accommodations. Highly recommend. And it's pet friendly! There are shops and restaurants all around to walk too. Perfect location.

Staff is apparently not capable of properly updating information into their computer system. We asked them twice to update our contact information and they did not. We ended up leaving a very important item in the room and they were unable to contact us to let us know because they had failed to update our info. Luckily we caught it ourselves but still suffered a major delay in our travel. When confronted about the issue the hostess was very rude.

Our room was very clean and roomy. It had a microwave and a small refrigerator. We had a comfortable two night stay with a wonderful night's sleep. On a very hot summer night , the air conditioning had no trouble keeping the room cool. The location of the hotel was in the center of town and the rocking chairs outside the doors provided a great place to watch the bikes and admire the beautiful mountain scenery. Breakfast was adequate with eggs and sausage at well as waffles and all the other continental breakfast items. The only problem I had was the small room in which breakfast was served, almost as it was an after thought during construction.

The Maggie Valley BW provided good value. It is not luxurious, but quite acceptable. Rooms and hotel area were updated, clean, and quiet. The bed sagged a bit in the middle but was fine despite that. Staff was always very helpful. We would definitely return.

We arrived during a time when most hotels were booked due to a large festival in town. I was originally concerned about potential noise and cleanliness and was proven wrong. The staff was great, the room was clean, and we slept very comfortably. There are many restaurants you can walk to.

Rooms are clean, staff is very accommodating, there are healthy choices available in the free breakfast, and the view is amazing. Every time I go to Maggie Valley this is where I stay. I look forward to another week-long stay next year.

The Best Western Mountainbrook Inn in Maggie Valley, NC, has been wonderful for our motorcycle rallies the past 4 years I've been attending. They are inviting, pleasant, and even nice enough to offer towels for everyone to be able to clean our bikes after rides in the area. The breakfast provided is an added perk to the clean, comfortable rooms.

I have stayed at this hotel for a seven day period each time for the last 5 years and enjoy my stay each time, and I plan on coming back next year as well. It's clean, comfortable and is always a pleasant experience.

Very friendly staff, rooms very nice, and we were able to enjoy bringing our dog. Enjoyed the pool as well! This hotel is very convenient to all of the sites and right in the middle of town. We really enjoyed our stay.

I felt that the hotel offered Great service. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful tucked away in the mountains. There is many sites and adventures to take, excellent access to shopping and everything that you may need to have a great time! The areas seems safe! I was told that there were 2 hospitals in a close vicinity. Don't speed through the town. The police are watching. The food and restaurants are great in the area. Make sure to visit Wheels Through time and Cherokee casino.

This is a nice, older, hotel but well maintained. Rooms were very clean, beds were extremely comfortable, with a refrigerator. The view outside the door was the best though. You open the door and you see the mountains right on the other side of the street. The breakfast was the usual continental but with sausage and hot eggs. This is a beautiful valley and a nice hotel to come back to after enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, good breakfast, very good service. Gave us a discount when they made an small error. No problem getting more towels. Very hot shower (important to me). Served breakfast past the cutoff time and there was plenty of all choices.

Located about midway in Maggie Valley, located next to a very good watering hole and restaurant. WiFi good, great pool, awesome hot tub, breakfast good but I recommend going to Country Vettles. If you are motorcycle ask for the front building and downstairs. You can literally set in a rocking chair and put your feet on your front tire! Always someone outside willing to talk about the awesome rides there are in this area! My only complaint here is sometimes a little pricey.... But it's clean, hot water and friendly staff.

Spent two nights here and found the hotel to be very clean. Plenty of fresh paint and even the parking lot was freshly resealed. Beds were comfortable but just a little squeaky and the A/C worked great after hot days on the bike. Hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants.

This is a very nice motel, good parking, pet friendly, nice guest laundry. Had a nice spot for the dog and the grounds were well maintained. Very quiet as we were on the backside of the motel, away from the main road. Had a pleasant sitting area with table to work on the computer and plan the next portion of our trip.

Hotel is overpriced and the staff showed that they do not care about the returning customers. I needed to stay an extra night and the cost went up almost 25%. Value for what I paid was insulting. This Hotel is outdated and not worth what I paid. They charge what I would spend on a 4 star hotel in a large city. Just unbelievable that they can charge this amount for what the state of this hotel is in.

This is a decent hotel in the Maggie Valley area. The rooms were a little dated, but we just used it to spend the night before riding our motorcycles to the Tail of the Dragon. For a one night stay, it was not too bad.

After seeing so many 4 and 5 star reviews for this hotel, we were really disappointed. The room smelled!!! It had a damp, moldy smell the whole time we were there, even after keeping the room door open for an hour each morning. The carpet is FILTHY. We gave our kids a bath, then within 30 minutes of them running around the room in their bare feet, their feet were BLACK. Every day we had to get extra towels from the desk. The maid failed to replace the number of towels she removed from the room. (We even left a tip) There is no exercise room. Breakfast is the same every day. (Lets mix it up a bit)

Newly renovated hotel in Maggie Valley, NC Would highly recommend this hotel for staying. The beds were wonderful, very clean room with all the amenites you could ask for. The check in was very efficient, housekeeping efficient, and check out very smooth. The location is great and close to the Conference Center, at Lake Junaluska, and to Harrah's Cherokee, and to the ski slopes. Several eating places near by Maggie Valley and Waynesville.

When I go to Maggie Valley or Waynesville, I always check out this lodging option. It is not a luxury motel, but one that is always crowded. It is also one that is friendly and well-kept. Every year when I go back for a conference in the area the desk clerk calls me by name and welcomes me back. That's rare for a chain motel. The room are standard but clean and comfortable. The TV remote is always in a sanitized sleeve which I have never seen before. The location is great for everything in Maggie Valley and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend a second floor room as it gets you off the parking lot level. If you want a big breakfast I would recommend that you go to a nearby restaurant.

I don't know how to start this review off. Overall the receptionist was very friendly and our visit was fine till the end of our last day here. I got burned on my legs in the shower j yelled for my wife to help me cuz the water was so boiling I could not reach to turn it off. Well she turned it down took a while for it to cool down and then all of a sudden the water pipes began to make all kinds of noise the ceiling came down in our room. Iam not trying to make this place look bad but I feel kind of disrespected and insulted for the $18 they gave me off for my room and got a email for a discount on the next stay. I don't think they understand how bad my legs hurt from that hot water!! Overall this is a nice hotel maybe they have a lack of maintenance on the facility.

Nice shower head, bed was nice, and the rocking chair were very nice outside. The breakfast was small danish's, bagels, small muffins, milk, juices, sausage, eggs, coffee, oatmeal, grits, apples, and bananas.

I was here only for overnight. The room was clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good with a wide selection. Staff was helpful at check-in and checkout. I would stay here again on a return trip.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Gatlinburg. Our room was very nice, much roomier than I had expected. Front Desk service was very good. Breakfast was good. The usual fare. They did have a toppings bar for yogurt/oatmeal which I thought was cool but some of the toppings (granola, coconut, raisins) looked like they had been there a long time. Decided to pass on that. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay there again when passing through.

It is a nice hotel!! Great view of the mountains. Bed was comfy. We didn't hear the other guests coming in and out of their rooms so that is definitely a plus. The breakfast was decent but there isn't much room in the dining area.

I stay here often due to the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly staff. Nice area and the location of the hotel is good to go just about anywhere. Close to a number of restaurants and shops.. the most important part for me is you can park and see your motorcycle.

My husband and I always stay here while in Maggie Valley, a few times a year and I wanted to compliment their front desk customer service, especially Sebrena! There was an issue, totally unavoidable, and she did not hesitate to correct the issue! It assured our continuing to recommend and stay with them on future trips! Good job!

Friends and I were touring the mountains and hit Maggie Valley about sundown. The hotel was in very good shape, very clean and well appointed room. They offered free breakfast bar with the usual fare, but it was adequate. Several restaurants within a few minutes walk or drive. We ate at the local Mexican restaurant for dinner which was good. double room was less that $90/night.

We frequently come back to WNC for family visits and other reasons, and this hotel is well-situated in Maggie Valley to visit Cherokee and Swain County as well as Haywood County. We stayed here last Thanksgiving, and the minor issues we had last time were resolved by the time we came up for summer.

This was my third stay at this hotel and everything was great as usual. Sabrina at the front desk made check in and check out a pleasure. The rooms are spotless and the included breakfast is very good and filling. The hotel is located close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum, and all of the things to do in Maggie Valley. The price is right also.

As a member of the Harley Owners Group, I frequently stay at Best Western properties which has a program with HOG. Bike owners are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay with bike parking in front of your room. This BW property offered all of that. Given this is low season, there were plenty of first floor rooms with parking at my door. There is nothing special about this place, no great amenities or look. Though it is situated along side the major road, I did not hear much road noise and was never awoken in the middle of the night. What it gives you is a clean room, comfortable bed and is close to restaurants and attractions such as the Wheel Through Time museum. What is attractive is the reasonable price. When I return to Maggie Valley, I will book this place again.

This is our 2nd year staying here while we travel down south. It is beautiful! The staff is friendly and the rooms are beyond clean. I swear there is a pillow for every comfort level on the bed waiting for you. We will keep coming here, guaranteed!

Ashley assisted me with the check-out/check-in from using points to paying room rate. She was also very professional and friendly. eager to help...very proactive. The bed was extremely comfortable and super clean including the mini-fridge and microwave. Bedding also crisp & clean. The room was very well accommodated & comfortable. I especially like the upgraded rectangular bathroom sink! I always check the hvac filters and look at the coil fins. I was very pleased to find clean filters and perfectly clean coil fins. About 80 % of hotels I stay fail this inspection. Considering the quality of the accommodations, the center of Maggie Valley location, and the exceptional service, the $62.99 weekday rate is not only a true value, its really a bargain. Kudos to the owner on his operation!

Fantastic location in Blue Ridge Mountains! Very close to the mountain parkway, places to eat, and local shops. Real nice view from porch chairs outside the room. Staff was courteous and helpful both at check in (guy) and check out (gal). Room was more than comfortable and roomy. Slept well and enjoyed a nice warm breakfast before leaving. Thanks!

We stayed here overnight to go to Wheels through time museum. We weren't sure we're to stay so we drove around and found this place. It was very nice and the young lady at the front desk was nice and informative. It is in a picturesque area. The breakfast was nice. I would recommend staying here .

We were pleased with our stay at this Best Western. We wanted to stay in an area between Cherokee and Asheville and this suited us perfectly. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had enough selections to keep us satisfied for 2 mornings (waffles, bagels, fruit, etc). We stayed in a building behind the main hotel and it was quiet.

We were passing through and needed a pet friendly place to stay. Was very pleased that the room was non smoking and pet friendly. The beds slept very well and the room was very clean. Will log this hotel in our travel book.

Stayed 3 nights. Was an alternative to Baymont and Harrah's. Convenient to Cherokee casino. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Enjoyed the waffles. The only issue was (not related to Best Western) many restaurants were closed and not scheduled to reopen until April 1st.

We loved our stay here. The room was big and looked very nice. It was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly! They have great pet friendly rooms, too. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone who wants to stay in the Maggie Valley/Cherokee area.

this is the third time we have stayed and every time has been great. Near the slopes and kids get free ski lift. The breakfast is good and rooms are extra clean. For the cost this was a great deal. I would recommend to everyone.

We stayed here one night. It's an older place but has been well maintained and renovated. The bathroom is on the small side and still has the old set up of the sink being on the outside. The beds were comfy. The room has plenty of room is you need to bring a pack n play. Breakfast is on the small side but I left full. For the price it fits nicely. I'd happily stay here again.

every time we go skiing to North Caroline we stay at this hotel , very clean . staff is very friendly , clean rooms , and breakfast in the morning . oh and is very close to Cataloochee which is the main reason we go to Maggie Valley , I would definitely recommend this hotel to others , thank you .

It appears that most hotels in the Maggie Valley area were built years ago - some have been maintained much better than others. The Best Western has been upgraded and remodeled. Guest rooms are clean, new carpet, granite bathroom counters, upgraded shower/bath, comfortable beds, etc. They have an indoor/covered pool and hot tub. A limited continental breakfast is also available. I stayed here with a ski group with my kids. Would highly recommend. 20 minute drive to the ski area.

This Best Western exceeded my expectations for a motel in a little mountain town. It was clean, safe and nicely appointed. My only gripe was that the beds were hard. There was a good variety for breakfast.

Located in a great spot close to the Cataloochee Ski Lodge. The service was excellent and great continental breakfast was included. Great overall experience for our first stay in Maggie Valley. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and plan to come back soon!

Nice quite hotel. I loved the FREE breakfasts: eggs sausage waffles yogurt muffins bagels pastries cereal milk coffee.. yumm... there was a heated pool and jacuzzi next door that you are allowed to use. Room was clean, sheets and pillows were clean. I had to asked for new sheets on the pull out couch because I guess whoever was sitting on it maybe was eating on the couch and crumbs had gotten down in the couch but that can be expected. Other than that it was perfect 4 a comfortable, nice, safe place to sleep and it was great for the budget too.

Got a king bed. It had a couch, microwave, and fridge. Room was clean. Overall stay was great, just had to get used to opening up to the outside. Heard street noise, but that was expected. It was very close to ski resort, that was a bonus!

Maggie's valley is always a great place to visit, this time we stayed at the Best Western And we were not disappointed with a moderate hotel with a dog yard. All of the dog lovers are on the ground floor and in the back together. This area is large enough our puppy was extremely happy after our long drive to be able to run and romp.

Very nice place to stay. I stayed the first night in Waynesville because I didn't know the area. Went skiing at Cataloochi ski area, which is about 10 minuets from hotel. Property is very clean. The remote was even in a "fresh bag". I found the bed to be very firm, almost to the point of being hard.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, quiet room. Heat was great, not noisy like some places. Bed very comfortable Close to highway, but quiet. Nice restaurants nearby, lots of shopping in town. Would definitely stay here again

We were booked for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday, our daughter lives close by. As it turns out my daughter did not have any water at her place so we showed up at the last minute and asked if we could possibly have another room for my daughter and her friend. They not only got her a room, they got her one right next door to us! The staff was just so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping services,everyone did a spectacular job. Our rooms were great! The beds were very comfortable with four pillows on each one. The bedding was so soft and our duvet was quite heavy. Sadly it never got cold enough for us to really enjoy them properly but that is on mother nature. The bathrooms were just fine, plenty of towels and space. We were on the back side on the second floor. I wish there had been an elevator but using the stairs helped me keep up my lucky streak of not gaining weight on vacation. My husband and I never made it to continental breakfast but everyone in my daughters room said it was really good. There were restaurants aplenty within walking distance, lots more within a five minute drive. Also lots of little shopping strips, antique stores, potters and country crafts. I would definitely book this hotel again. We had a great time.

We attended a wedding in Maggie Valley and this motel was listed on the invitation. Online the rooms looked modern and nice but in reality this is an old motel that has been flipped. The furniture and bedding have been updated but this is still an old motel room with a tiny bathroom, old AC, slow plumbing, and tiny bathroom fixtures. The mattress was cheap, uncomfortable and noisy. Most of the rooms face a busy 4-lane highway. If you stay here, be sure and ask for a top floor and a quieter room in the back of the hotel. The exterior was not tidy nor well kept. Breakfast was very minimal. It was served in the very small lobby of the motel. The staff was not friendly, courteous or accommodating to not only us but we observed to other guests as well. Another guest in the wedding party stayed one night and checked out early due to his noisy downstairs room and discomfort. Our local wedding host suggested Smoky Falls Lodge down the street if we wanted to check out. Also, the Maggie Valley Country Club 2 bdroom condo's were lovely if you have a larger group. This room was not worth the $89 AARP rate we paid. It was adequate for our wedding stay but I would not stay here again. We used to trust the Best Western brand in choosing a hotel but we were very disappointed that they would allow this motel to be part of their franchise. Be aware that alot of the Maggie Valley motels are old like this.( We saw Boyd Mountain Log Cabins that also looked very nice). Good luck.

Housekeeping and staff are effective and cordial, though I do not recommend coming one hour early or they will charge you a fee. Overall room quality is good, with most amenities and wi-fi being available. Our only complaint is that beds were a bit firm and it forced us to sleep in separate queen-size beds. Some neighbor noise drifted in, but it was Thanksgiving. Their breakfast was consistently good, though they lacked a toaster when I stayed.

Made several motorcycle trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains. My friends and I have have stayed at the Best Western on a few occasions and have always returned after trying other places. The Hotel is also clean and the staff is nice. Maggie Valley is a nice place to relax after a day on the mountain road. Small and quiet. Just don't wait to late to eat dinner. Town shuts down early and you'll have to go to the Subway, which is ok.

This is a very nice motel that is conveniently located in the heart of Maggie Valley with nice views. The rooms are nice and clean and appear to be newly decorated. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Efficient check in and check out. Definitely would stay there again.

This 2 story hotel has lots of Little pieces that make for comfort in a recently refurbished hotel. You can have street facing rooms or a back side very quiet room to sit in your rocker and experience the mountains. You can plug your electronics in at the base of the bedside lamps. That is a convenience I cherish. The grassy yard protected on 4 sides is a perfect place for children to chase, play, and move around. The breakfast has everything you expect well displayed. The front desk staff was young and did their job. They do read their reservation requests and pay attention to assign you your requested comfort. Location was right in the middle of the strip for coming and going.

Excellent location. Convenient to everything in Maggie Valley and a beautiful drive to Cherokee which was only approximately 20 miles (give or take) away as well as a lot of other towns in the same general vicinity. It's an older building (as most are in the area) but it has been well-maintained. Our bed was super comfortable too. We stayed one night as it was a quick trip to the mountains, but be equally as good for a longer stay. Highly recommend staying here.

This is our second time staying at a Best Western. I was very pleased with our stay. Rooms were big. Nice wake up from their showers with a massage feeling. For sure we will be turning for another stay.

This is not the Taj Mahal by any means, but a nice motel for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, bath worked well, breakfast filling, and staff helpful and polite. We got a good quiet rest each night - even on the bottom floor - after sightseeing, which was all we wanted. Enjoyed and would stay here again!

If you are visiting Cherokee or Maggie Valley, NC this is an excellent choice. The location is in downtown Maggie Valley and very convenient to both Cherokee and Asheville, NC. The view is beautiful. The staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed in a "pet-friendly" room. It was very nice. Very clean and smelled great. There is a great pet walking/excercise area in the back of the hotel away from the road and traffic. This was the second time that we had stayed here, and will go back if we are in the area again. We have stayed in 20 or so of the local hotels and cabins in the area over the last 25 years, and this is one of the best. Heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have stayed lots of times at Best Western in Maggie Valley...Prices are great, top floor rooms are wonderful...Bottom floor rooms are way too much noise, all times of the night & early morning !!! Never had any problems there on top floor, ran into few minor problems this last time with plumbing issues as well.

This is a good hotel, nothing fancy. The room was clean and it fits into the Maggie valley scene. The breakfast was actually pretty good. No complaints at all but it is what it is. It is a quaint setting and the chairs outside the room are a nice touch but know the mountain view is across the street.

Although the we only stayed one night, the service was great,the people were friendly,the breakfast was great, and it's biker friendly.we stayed here to see the Wheels Through Tme Museam and enjoyed our short stay with Best Western.

Great location for motorcycle enthusiasts, excellent amenities, clean and comfortable rooms, bathrooms also clean and remodeled, continental breakfast is ample and filling, cost basis on the high side even with a group rate.

It's definitely not a 4 star property in terms of motel - a 2 or 3 star, but it's well above what I expected. Wifi was decent, better than some locations and bigger and more expensive chains. The bed was ok. I've had better and many worse. The room a/c did have some trouble getting cool - had to crank it to max cold to get much cooling. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. They've tried updating the sink, but it's an above counter bowl that didn't seem to fit in. The faucet was also a bit loose. The same for the shower, but it did have good pressure and temperature. The bathroom is very tiny with a small round toilet instead of the larger oblong toilets in most chains. There was a vent which was nice that many newer properties don't have. Breakfast was limited with yogurt, cereal, and breads. The hot items were eggs I skipped and sausage patties that were ok. If looking for a place to stay, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I'm a repeat customer at this property. The rooms are always very clean and the staff very friendly. Everything is well kept and this Motel offers a great value for the price. It is very motorcycle friendly with guests like myself that appreciate a good place to stay while on vacation. There is a good sports bar next door with decent food and good service which is very convenient.

This motel is fantastic, very clean, rugs, paint all the decor is fresh and new looking. The staff was very pleasant and was at the same time efficient. We rented a handicap room on the ground floor . It was large and clean. The furnishing's were like new, the bed was fantastic not to soft and not to hard. The bathroom was large the tile and grout sparkling clean. We had a quite two days, from our room we could not hear any highway noise at all. Every room had two rocking chairs outside and we spent a lot of time enjoying the weather and rocking. The breakfast area was clean and fresh, the food while nothing special was delicious . The menu ranged from waffles to eggs, sausage as well as cereal, muffins, juice coffee etc.
