Best Western Plus Magee Inn and Suites

Best Western, Plus - is our preferred hotel when traveling. Most are very stylish and well-appointed. Definitely a step up from regular hotels. Then there is Magee, MS. This is a Best Western - Minus. Upon first entering, it looks clean and neat. Nothing special and the decor is very plain. The hallways and rooms - also clean and neat - but very bland and boring. Not even a little bit upscale. The 120v sockets at the base of each lamp were VERY loose. Unable to use them or charge any electronics. Then there is the breakfast. Just to keep it simple - skip this altogether and go a block down the street to McDonald's. Yep, it is that bad. The tub/shower in the rooms should have a sign "shower at your own risk" . This is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. The bottom is slick as glass. You must put a towel in the base of the tub to keep from slipping and falling.

it seems very clean. full breakfast but not the freshest. It seems a little pricey, but if you include breakfast then it's helps. If the breakfast was looked after, then it might be worth it. I would stay here again because it is the halfway point for me and most likely the best in Magee.

Spent the night for a softball tournament!! Hotel is in a great location. We arrived late and check in was a breeze! The staff was great and extremely nice! Room was very clean and coffee was great! Nice breakfast too!!

This place was a nice enough stay that, while working in the area I chose to drive back to Magee. Wide parking spots, area isn't congested and comfortable room. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant. This is my preferred stay in this area.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way to Dallas. The front desk ladies were friendly and made a great dinner recommendation. The first thing my husband checks in our hotel rooms is the cable...to his surprise, ours was out. One of the ladies agreed to switch us to another room. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was a nice size for a couple traveling. The breakfast was great the next morning. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this Best Western! Staff at checking was very kind. We got a great night sleep! The room was clean and comfortable. Plus spacious enough to allow my 9 year old to pace a bit after being stuck in the car. Location is perfect. Easy to get to and with various dinner options around. Breakfast was really good. Enough options for all three of us! And food was hot and fresh and yummy. We all really enjoyed the pancake maker. I don't remember this from our last stay, but it was a great addition! My kiddo loved making and eating them. This is our favorite place to rest and refuel on our way from Texas to Florida.

Bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Bathroom lighting was good. Plenty of food available for breakfast. Didn't have an opportunity to use the pool, but it looked inviting. No odd odors in the room like some other hotels.

Hotel was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking lot well lit. And a great buffet restaurant within walking distance. We will stay here again the next time we travel through.

I had some business to take care of in Hattiesburg, MS. this past weekend but due to all of the good hotels there being booked up for the weekend for USM football homecoming activities I had to find a hotel in a nearby town. Since I am very partial to Best Western hotels and hate to stay anywhere else I chose this place as it was fairly convenient to Hattiesburg and is within an estimated 45 min drive. IF you drive the speed limit of 65 on highway 49. The hotel itself looks to have undergone recent renovating as everything appeared to be fairly modern. The AC worked well, the king size bed I had in my room was ultra comfortable and the pillows did the job in ensuring a decent nights sleep. The room itself was of a decent size that gave you room to move around and it was clean. I did NOT notice one single 6 legged critter during my entire 4 day stay. The shower worked well with lots of hot water for showering and the kitchen staff kept the breakfast items stocked very well with plenty of food to go around. Both hot and cold items were available. The ONLY complaints I might have were that the TV channels were somewhat lacking as I had hoped for a few more than what they did offer and the other issue was the internet there. The Wifi is free but it was constantly going out of service and quite often when it was working it had very little speed. Which made uploading pages very tedious at times. Occasionally it would work pretty fast but those times were not often. All in all I wouldn't mind staying at this hotel again if I were passing through on a 1 night stay but I am not so sure I would stay here again for a multiple night visit. One other thing. I will say is that that the staff that worked there were all very pleasant and treated everyone in a professional manner. So zero complaints in that department.

Great location, Hotel and Staff. A+++, Breakfast was better than most of the other hotels breakfast. Very very clean hotel. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Only issue was the internet was slow and dropping out.

The staff was great and professional. The room was super clean. Breakfast was delicious and it is in a good spot for great food and shopping. You will love it. No loud noise and everyone you come in contact with was super friendly.

EXCELLENT HOTEL! We stayed here on the way to our beach vacay in Florida. Great midway stopping point, easy access off highway. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast and safe environment! Highly recommend!

Before Covid this was a nice pit stop on the way to it from summer vacation. It's gone downhill. Seems like they didn't invest anything to maintenance. Beds were uncomfortable, so much so you could feel the springs in the beds. Pool was nice. Walking distance to a nice restaurant. I'm sure there are better options than this one if you drive an extra 50 miles.

We decided to stay here based off reviews, it was a great experience the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had friends traveling with us and they stayed in another room and they said their room was great as well. Really glad we decided to stay here.

An error in the online reservations through Best Western had me as a “no show” on the night I had actually made a future reservations. Magee hotel charged me as the facility was “booked solid” that night. I was totally unaware until I arrived on the date I thought I had a reservations and was told of the mix-up. (No, I hadn't received a confirmation. I did print out that morning a receipt for my “earlier stay,” and was confused. But often we have pre-paid reservations for first or only nights, so didn't think much of it. Seems I have no recourse and have paid for I might I wasn't there.

The hotel is Excellent! The hotel is super clean, the breakfast is excellent, a lot of variety on the menu. the Front Desk Clerk was so wonderful. This hotel, Best Western Plus. is very nice. good choice

I have stayed at all the hotels in the area and this Best Western is the best hotel in the area. Traci and her staff did a fantastic job of taking care of our large family gathering. It was a demanding group and Traci and her folks rose to the task. Job well done!!

My stay at the best western is alway a good one . I stay at the same hotel every time I'm in the laurel area , very clean and super nice staff .. there are plenty places to eat wether it's fast food or restaurants you are looking for .

My husband, daughter and I booked a two night stay from August 14-16th. My husband decided that we would leave on the afternoon of the 16th to break down the drive back to Virginia. I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Fast check in. Our room was very clean and quiet. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the big sofa in the room. Just a wonderful, relaxing time!

Hotel was clean. All staff were very nice and had a smile on their faces every time we passed them. There are not too many options in the area for hotels but this one is very nice. Pool was closed due to Covid. Breakfast was being served by staff due to Covid but the line moved quickly and they had two coffee bars going.

Highly recommend any stay while traveling in this area. The management and staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is hot and really good. The location is perfect near several restaurants ,several within walking distance.

Never fails . . . the staff are extremely pleasant and attentive to what I need. They always make me feel welcome. The rooms are always up to par. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone hands down!!!

This hotel was nice and clean, beautifully decorated, wonderful staff. Especially Amanda !! Definitely will be staying here again next time we're in Magee. They had coffee, muffins, fruit cups and water waiting for you in morning.

Stopped for the night on our way through. Much nicer than expected. I found it comparable to a stay at a Hampton Inn. Very comfortable room and beds. Pool closed and breakfast not served because of CoVid. Stay was friendly and helpful.

We were traveling through MS and stopped for the night. Clean and comfortable. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. We will stay here again on our way through. Pool is still closed and breakfast is bagged right now because of restrictions.

Dirty room, a bug on the floor and chips in the corner. Second room the toilet was clogged and they gave us the plunger to clear it. One small blueberry muffin for our breakfast and a bottle of water.

Breakfast was not what I was expecting. I read that it was a buffet of whatever you want. It was not. I skipped eating breakfast there the next morning because I was disappointed. The internet was 6 meg download, and wouldnt work part of the time.

We were just passing through. Very nice rooms. Nice colors. Nice little fridge and microwave. Only thing we didn't like were the pillows on the bed. Really need to upgrade them. Would definitely recommend!

We opted to stay in Magee instead of more expensive ones in Hattiesburg, but did not expect a great hotel. It was a nice surprise to fine it extremely clean and a comfortable bed. The guy who checked us in was extremely nice and polite and gave us excellent instructions to a great Mexican restaurant—Jose's. plan to stay here on our trip home too.

My wife and I were delivering a commercial vehicle to the Gulf Coast. Due to bad weather and traffic problems we did not arrive at our destination until almost midnight. After our delivery we started looking for a hotel to get some sleep. Unfortunately due to a big event happening there were no rooms available in the area. We drove on to Hattiesburg, MS but it was Homecoming weekend for USM so again no rooms. Luckily we started calling up the road and found a wonderful place. Even though it was 2:30 AM we were welcomed by a phenomenal staff and beautiful hotel. Our check in was a pleasure with Joan being genuinely concerned that we were comfortable and welcome. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. It was definitely a place I would recommend.

I have stayed at this Best Western Plus for several years while traveling as it is a 1/2 way mark for me and have always been ok with my stays there. While it wasn't always the best it could be it was a place to lay down and get some rest before traveling on. However, this last stay was exceptional. The moment I walked in I noticed a difference it was so much better. It was clean both inside and out. Their beverage and snack area was well stocked (which hadn't been happening), the smelly ashtray was not at the front door and the staff was in uniforms not street clothes. It made it easy to identify who was working and who wasn't. When I asked the front desk clerk if they had remodeled or had new owners they said no, just under new management, same owners different manager. My hats off to the new manager for a job well done. It exceeded our expectations and I will surely continue staying there. Again hats off to the new manager (which happens to be an employee that was promoted) for the care and concern she has established in this hotel.

Very clean and neat! Rooms are spacious with nice bathrooms. Linens smelled fresh and clean. Lobby always smells wonderful. Breakfast was a plus with fresh food and coffee! Will be booking more nights when visiiting family!

The hotel is nice and clean. The WIFI was fast. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was acceptable. Walmart, Murphy Gas Station, and Barry Seafood are nearby. We stayed one night at the Best Western Magee. The town is nice. The parking is adequate.

The best Western as one of the best hotels that we have stayed in in a long time the staff was great the service was excellent rooms were very clean food was good the availability of everything was also great!

Great Hotel!!!! Very clean, seems remodeled, pleasantly surprised. Large room. I typically like Marriotts & Hilton's, because it is a safe bet that it's clean when traveling to new, unknown places, however this was very, very nice. Marriott/ Hilton quality at cheap hotel prices. Watch out though, if you like to sleep in like we do, breakfast ends at 9 AM.

We arrived at this hotel late at night. The hotel was modern, clean, and new-ish. Our reservation was for a double queen and a king. The queen room was alright, but the king was a mess, with the bed not made and the trash not picked up. But we got a different king that was clean and in order. Breakfast was similar to that of a holiday inn express breakfast. Overall, a decent place to stay in Magee.

We arrived late afternoon and went to check in. There was nobody at the front desk. It turns out the 2 women smoking out front were working. After 5 minutes or so, they walked in and hurriedly checked us in. The facility is nice, fairly quiet and conveniently located. Room was clean and comfortable. When we went to shower, there was only 1 towel. I went to the desk and got more towels. Not sure why there was only one towel. For the entire stay, the front desk seemed more interested in talking on their cell phones than guests. At breakfast, I was treated to a loud conversation about asking someone to cover a shift, but the person could not because they needed to be elsewhere. Break fast itself was fairly standard.

When I walked into my room it smelled very clean. Large bathroom was a plus. Great breakfast. Has an elevator. Polite staff. Plenty of dinner restaurants in the area. I highly recommend others to stay there.

We were pleased to find a place just the right distance between Memphis and the Gulf coast to break up the trip. Well cared for, it is comfortable, clean and friendly! This is the second winter we have stayed here and have been pleased!

Stayed here 4 nights due to sisters funeral. Our room was not even cleaned one day! We had to call for towels and next day for toilet paper. They also did not change sheets each day! Breakfast was terrible, biscuits were so hard! and coffee taste like it was a day old. Bed was hard! For the price we paid, management and service was unacceptable!!!!

We stayed at the Magee, MS Best Western Plus for one night, Nov. 30, 2018 because we had a wake and funeral to attend. The lady at the front desk was very nice and quick to get us all checked in and our cards issued. As we headed to our room we really noticed how clean and updated the hotel was. Our room was also very clean and everything in its place. The bed, was surprisingly comfortable and both of us had a good night's sleep. Usually one or both of us end up tossing & turning all night and complain about our back hurting....not the case at all this time! Breakfast was quite nice...lots to choose from and everything was hot & fresh. Overall we both agree that this was one of the nicest Best Westerns we have ever stayed at. Would definitely recommend and if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed mon-sat family business. Had two rooms they put us next to each other. That was nice. Rooms clean fresh no orders. Safe location, and a very friendly staff. Right next to Berry's seafood restaurant we're I had the best Ribeye steak I have ever had on this planet. Here's a note we called the hotel not the main best western number but the local number. Saved a good bit. Got room cheaper then Trip Advisor or Hotels.com Just FYI

Had to use the hotel for a day use. Had a conference call I had to be on. Staff were incredibility welcoming and friendly. If you are in Magee, this is the place to stay. Set back just far enough from the highway that you don't hear the road and close to a number of places to eat.

Very nice little hotel in a quiet town. Nice place to break the trip between Texas and Florida. Breakfast could be improved if the eggs were fresh but it's otherwise okay. Good location Walmart just across 49.

The staff were professional and efficient. We were checked in quickly, and out the next day. The hotel was clean and had a convenient location. When we forgot our cell phone in the room the manager mailed it to us.

The room itself was fine. The desk chair had a broken arm, The shower curtain let a lot of water out and made the floor very slippery as there was no mat for outside the shower. Inside the tub there was a definate lack of non-slip material making the tub floor very slippery. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

You can always count on Best Western for clean, comfortable rooms and this was no exception. This was an unexpected stop on our travels and we were happy to find a nice hotel. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Clean room and bathroom. The staff was friendly and nice. Good breakfast.

I was driving to Mendenhall, Mississippi from Orange, Texas to go visit my aunt and uncle and to go do some of the attractions in Jackson, Mississippi as well as going to the Military Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi. My aunt lives in Mendenhall and Magee is close by (for Mendenhall had no hotels) so I decided to stay here. The person at the front desk did give me a very good rate so I decided to stay here for three nights. I'm glad I chose this place. It is very spotless and clean, it is 100% non-smoking, the carpet was very clean and looked brand new, the beds are extremely comfortable, the air condition blew very cold, the internet is very reliable and fast, and the breakfast is the best free breakfast I have ever eaten compared to many other places I have stayed. There were eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits, cereal, etc. The staff there is very friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. The only thing is even though it was warm, the pool does not open until Memorial Day but that does not really bother me any. This place is right next to one of the best restaurants in Magee which is Berry's Catfish and Seafood House.

On my way back from Florida, tired after driving 10 hours, I checked in at the BW in Magee, Ms. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, a very comfortable bed, good TV reception, bathroom also comfortable and modern. The A/C worked fine, everything quiet and restful. The breakfast, however, could certainly be improved. I don't expect much from chain hotels, so not really complaining. Overall, a surprisingly pleasant stay for one night.

If you are in this area, you really must stay here. So clean and staff is very nice. The building appears to be new but I am sure the hotel is a few years old. The room in both Best Westerns on this trip have been above expectations. Decor is tasteful and carpet in halls and bedrooms are clean!!!

I was driving a two and a half ton military truck to Texas and lost the 24 volt alternator and was forced to stop before dark. Best Western was off the highway far enough to be quiet but close enough I could easily get back on the road in the morning. The night clerk put me in a first floor room close to the outside electrical outlet where I was charging two batteries. The room was spotless, the bed was warm and cozy, and I got a great night of restful sleep. Christmas morning, it was 27 out but was greeted by the warm smiles of two gracious ladies as I grabbed a bite before heading to Texas. I was given a sack with a nice snack for later in the day. It served as ny only meal before getting back home 444 miles later.

I had stayed here for a few months while working. , alway clean room. Will stay here when in area again for sure. The room rate was very reasonable. Good parking and good breakfast. And ALL STAFF TREATED ME GTEAT!

My husband and son stopped here for the night after driving from Orlando. Exceptionally clean rooms, large quiet, with plenty of towels. A full hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, etc, was quite satisfying. We had a King Suite on the first floor. It was a Saturday night , but the hotel was not busy. Will certainly stay here again!1

Halfway between Arkansas and Destin so we have stayed here on a number of occasions. Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly. Breakfast is better than the average free breakfast fare. A bit off the road so you have to be paying attention when you drive through Magee.

Hotel was very clean and decor modern. Staff was kind and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Every little detail was taken care of. We will definitely be staying here again.

We were traveling and decided to stop here for the night. We were very surprised that we found a nice place with a very friendly staff and a bonus that it included a hot breakfast. For the price, well worth it.

We were suppose to stay for 2 days but my husband fell in so we were going to be a day late so I phoned the hotel to let them know they weren't having any of it . I had to phone the company that booked the hotel stay on the phone while they phoned the hotel talked to exactly the same person I did to tell me ok they'll keep the room What the hell . The woman that booked us in was lovely the one that booked us out really did not want to be there bed comfy breakfast average .

Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Great experience. We stop here each year on our way to Florida. We have never had a bad experience at this hotel. The rates are very good. We walked across the side road to Berry's seafood. Great restaurant!

The front desk worker, Alexis, was rude but yet seemed as if she wasn't interested in helping me while I asked her questions about the surrounding area. I am from Arkansas and the way her attitude was I WILL NOT be back at this location. I thought Mississippi was a hospitality state, obviously not......

This is my go-to hotel when traveling through Mississippi. It is fairly new. It is far enough away from the highway so there is not any road noise. The rooms are very nice and have interior entrances. The price is very good for what you get. There is free wireless internet in the rooms. The pool and fitness center are nice. This trip the breakfast was not good. I will continue to use this hotel, however, if the breakfast does not improve I will go elsewhere for breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always enjoyed the same great experience. Clean room, fast and super friendly service and breakfast is really good. Nearby restaurants are great. Not a lot to do in the town but if your there visiting it's a great place to stay.

Basic hotel air condition system worked ok but the noise level made sleeping soundly impossible. The bathroom area could use some cleaning and the bed was the worse bed I had tried to sleep in. This is the first time at a BW hotel in several years. They look great on the outside and the staff was excellent but the rooms are still the cheaper BW rooms.

We had been traveling for 9+ hours and really didn't have a stopping destination planned. What a wonderful find this hotel was. Very clean facility. Helpful staff. Great breakfast in the morning. Would stay again.

This hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. They made sure checking was a breeze. The breakfast that is included is also a great plus. Hey had lots of items to choose from wether you wanted a muffin and yogurt to eat quickly or if you wanted to sit down and have pancakes and bacon you could do that as well. I was passing through on a long trip and this hotel was halfway for me and it ended up being a great place to stay.

I never write a bad review but I had to on this. The hotel itself was wonderful. Clean rooms. Loved the decor. It was perfect. The lady at the check in was bad. When we arrived she acted like she hated her job. She didn't greet us or anything. Then after we checked in we went to dinner and came back. She was outside on the phone griping and cussing. Later that evening I went outside to the vehicle and she was still outside on the phone doing the same thing. I would recommend this hotel for the hotel. But by far is the rudest staff that checked us in that we have ever encountered. Not what I'm issued to with Best Western.

if you are traveling by motorcycle, this is not the hotel to stay at. When arrived it was raining and asked as i do at all BW hotels if i could park under the canopy. To unload would be ok but have to park in parking lot. This was the first BW that treated me like this. i am a rewards member, reservation was well in advanced and requested in advanced. everything else with the hotel was spot on.

I went after the death of a family member. Had not been here in over 40 years/ This was a great trip. My sister and I drove in(over 13 hours) We were greeted by the nicest people I have seen in while. Every member of the staff was nice and helpful. It was a great stay until the night before we left. There was a kids softball Tournament going on and they were all there and running and playing in the halls. I was preparing for my 13 hour drive back and they were out in the halls running, playing and talking loud until at least 12:30 and I had to leave by 5.

All of the employees at this hotel are wonderful, including the wonderful manager who let us check out late because we over slept. They were all so very gracious with our tardiness. We did not wake up until 1030am and checkout was at 1100am. I called to ask if we could have a late checkout at noon and they were fine with it. They were also great when we still weren't ready to leave by noon. I guess the beds were really too comfortable to get out of. We only stayed overnight on our road trip home from Florida, but it was one of the best night's sleep we had on the whole trip. This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway and easy to get to. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very nice. They even have refrigerators with a separate freezer section so I could refreeze the water bottles I used in my cooler. Most hotels don't even have a freezer section inside the fridge if they have a fridge. This is either a newer hotel or a newly renovated one, but either way, it was someplace I would stay again if in the area.

We picked the BW for the location to the ball park .The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful Sabrina was very helpful 5 Stars to her. The pool was nice and clean , room was nice and clean beds was great The a/c was working well. We was there for 3 nights without any problems.. So yes I would recommend the BW in Magee,Ms

The property was clean and it gives the impression that it is a good hotel. For the price, it wasn't worth it. It seemed like there was always something missing and when you asked, you got the "it was ordered", we just upgraded and don't have all of that yet".

Great service and wonderful rooms. Non smoking and no pets which is plus for me as of high allergies. The rooms were great and bathroom and all was very clean and well stocked. Breakfast could use a little more variety and quantity. Other than that all was superior!!!!!!!

Very unexpected. It was worth the overnight stay. Drove from Prentiss Mississippi and loved the hotel. It was right next to and across the street from restaurants and shopping. Free WiFi and parking. Beautiful hotel inside and out.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Hotel was clean and all of our needs were met by the staff. The beds were a little hard and the tv had a few issues but the kindness and helpfulness of the staff more than made up for the minor issues. We are lifers now at this Best Western.

We had extended our drive that day by an extra hour from mid Florida, as both this lodging and Berry's Seafood had excellent reviews. (Also traveled on Saturday as Berry's closed on Sunday). Hotel staff very friendly, room was very clean -- though I might have expected a comfortable lounge chair -- there was plenty of room for one, as a spacious room and quite large bath. Breakfast was quite acceptable and met (but didn't exceed) expectations. As a one time trip extension, the location and amenities were convenient and very good. Checking in and out (no express check out) were quick and efficient.

I could not have been more pleased with this hotel. It was extremely clean and modern. The hotel staff were all friendly and very accommodating. And the breakfast was great. This was my second stay at this hotel in the past three months, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.

The guest had to fix plugged up toilet and headboard, top of mirrors and pictures had several layers of dust. The front desk gave the guest the plunger to fix the toilet due to no maintenance being on property.

I have been to this location on numerous times and have had a good experience on almost each one and last night was no exception. My room was what I requested, and clean, comfortable, & quiet. Nice modern styles hotel with good service, clean rooms and a fresh, hot breakfast. Not much to choose from with regards to restaurants in Magee, but Jose's is as good of a choice as any. Also heard good things about the burgers at Zips Cafe, but they were closing by the time I was ready to eat. The only concern I can think of with this hotel is the strangely low budget closet door selection, which consists of a low budget billfold door. Otherwise than that little thing, I recommend this location and will stay again when in Magee.

Price was very fair. Service with a big smile. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Good shower heads with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. A very good hot free breakfast bar in the morning and more smiles.

desk clerk at check in and at check out were wonderful. The check in was witty and courteous. Only problem was the creaking of the floor above. Not that it was that bad. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed out stay during our trip. It was nice to come to a clean and updated decorated hotel. The breakfast was much appreciated, it was NOT a continental spread. Definitely will stay in future.

I had a very good stay at this location, one that I've been to a few times in the past. The service, room, bed, pillows, bath, towels and breakfast were all just about any traveler could want. A great overall experience. Thanks BW Magee!

Stayed one night on the way to Destin Florida. Nice clean hotel and great location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Tons of food places close by. The morning breakfast was quite good. Will definitely stay there again.

We normally stay in Magee on our way down to the Gulf. This is our first time at Best Western Plus but will not be our last. Will definitely stay here again when traveling. Room was very clean and COLD air. Breakfast was very good - bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, cereal, muffins, basically anything you needed.

Our stay at Best Western Plus Magee Inn and Suites in Magee Mississippi was great. Everything was clean and neat. The hotel staff kept everything up to par. We stay at a lot of Best Westerns. It's always a pleasure knowing what you're going to get.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and quiet! Breakfast was ok, but not great - the biscuits were crunchy, but the gravy had a good flavor. Overall, we were thankful for clean room and a place to rest. Great place to stay!

Magee is between Jackson and Hattiesburg so when you get caught between these two towns Best Western is the BEST place. There are lots of good restaurants to choose from but this is the hotel! Overall well above average in all categories !

During the year I make many business trips and have found the Best Western Plus in Magee , Mississippi to be by far the most enjoyable stay. I notify the personnel that I will be in for a short stay and everyone makes sure all aspects of my stay is extremely comfortable and satisfying.

Hotel is clean, cleaning staff was spot on available with extra towels assisting with garbage collection. Oh I forgot, the hotel was crawling with Softball and Baseball players. I was there to support St. Martin. Front staff was always friendly and helpful. WIth all the players and excitement I was weary that it may not get quite, but at 9pm it was like a switch was flipped. Thank You Best Western for making our trip great.

We have stopped here many times and have always found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable with a nice decor. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast selections are generous for every age in the group. A good bargain for the mid-price hotels.

This was not our 1st time staying at this hotel. Called a few hours before the 3pm check-in to see if we could arrive early, and were told yes as our room was ready. Ended up not checking in early but it was nice to know we could have if needed. We were in town for a high school graduation. Check in was easy. (As expected). Get to our room and we are engulfed by the heat wave pouring out if the room!! The AC was turned OFF and the room temp was 82 degrees!!! Completely unreasonable!! Needed to shower to get ready for graduation but had to wait for an hour just so the room could cool down. It was unbearable!! Why it's that hot in a room you have to cool the furniture as well to help cool the room down. At checkout the next morning I informed the front desk about this and she said the people before us must have set the temp to that. I had to correct her and say no, the air was OFF and yall knew we were arriving and the air was never turned on! She just said o well. I was a bit shocked at her lack of care. The TV remote was not working properly either. You had to hold the metal tab down to keep the batteries from popping out. It was laying in front of the TV in a few pieces when we arrived to the room. Both the AC and remote is something the cleaning staff would have known about. Very disappointing as we were a returning customer and not treated as well.

This hotel is fairly new and I expected it to have that "new" look and it did. The hotel inside and out was very clean. Our room was very clean and neat, no old looking sheets and bedding, and a very nice decor. The beds were so comfortable we'd pass out as soon as we hit them. The breakfast buffet had all we needed and we'd look forward to a GOOD breakfast each morning. The lady that attended the dining room always had the place clean and food stocked. The pool looked nice, small but nice and I do wish there was a jacuzzi. We didn't get to use the pool like we had plan but did use the little gym. The staff was nice and courteous. We definitely would stay the next time we visit our family and we visit often. So far this is the nicest hotel in the area as long as the hotel owners keep up the cleanliness and maintenance.

We were on a road trip from New Mexico back to Florida and this hotel made for a great nights sleep and even included a tasty hot breakfast. Friendly staff, modern hotel, new, clean, close to highway but not on main road as we were VERY protective of the car we were in. I would surely stay here again and would recommended this hotel to others.

The hotel was well equipped with a Great Staff. The stay was very comfortable. The facilities were Beautiful and very clean and updated. I was surprised to have such as nice and beautiful hotel in this rural area. Great Job and great investment to all for business or recreation.

Very nice, clean hotel, large rooms and bathrooms. First thing said when we got to the room was how good it smelled. Shampoo and conditions was Pantene. Breakfast actually tasted good for hotel food: sausage, bacon, eggs, Biscuits, gravy, pancakes like, Oatmeal, grits, pastries, yogurt, fruit. Don't have waffles. Friendly employees. Would return if traveling through and needed a place to stay.

The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. Staff members are courteous and efficient. Breakfast is very good! Great place to stay when you're traveling through to the Gulf Coast! Nice area and town too!

Business trip was made more enjoyable by this stay! Staff were kind, decor attractive, linens soft, room clean, TV great, plenty of space in bath and room, food rather bland but served warm each day, workout center was EXCELLENT!

This hotel is newer and it is in great condition throughout. The rooms are very nice and well-kept. We were here for several days, and I really enjoyed getting to know the sweet couple who did the housekeeping every day. The staff was always helpful and willing to meet our needs. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had decent lighting, good hot water supply, and a pretty good shower. I had no problem walking barefoot in this room as the carpet was very clean. Wi-fi was excellent. It was nice having a good-sized fridge with a separate freezer as well as a microwave. The breakfast here is excellent! They offer something for just about all tastes including eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy - plus pancakes and so forth. Their coffee is actually quite good too. The laundry facility boasts two washers and two dryers - both newer and in excellent condition, but it does cost $2 per wash AND $2 per dry. Highly recommended stay in Magee - especially for the price.

This is a newer Best Western and was very clean. There were no issues with the room or the facilities. Best Western serves a complimentary breakfast. The food was good and ready when they said it would be. The clerk, Tracy, was friendly and efficient. Best Western provides very good quality and value.

The room was spacious and clean while the bed was comfortable. It is convenient to the main thoroughfare but located a block from the highway so the traffic noise is not noticable. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. Magee is a small town but this hotel offers nice amenities at a reasonable price.

This was my 2nd stay at this location and everything seemed to be going okay until it was time to go to sleep. First shirtly after falling alseep the alarm clock wen off even though it was 100% not on. Okay, unplug it altogether and go back to sleep. Next the TV set came on by itself at 5am. Turned it off and went back to sleep. Now the light in the hall was flickering even though it was off. Rolled over and went back to sleep, too late, time to get up. This is a completely true story. No eggs at breakfast. Worker told me more were coming but never did in the 20 minutes or so that I was eating other items. Light above shower was out so I replaced it with a bulb from the floor lamp. At checkout my bill did not reflect my $25 BW rewards discount and while I've never had trouble with these before, even if combining discounts, the no-name plate lady seemed more annoyed than anything with resolving it for me. What a weird night and experience. I might need to try the Holiday Inn next time, although I'm not adverse to giving a location a second first glance. We'll see... Recommended with hesitation...

We stayed overnight on the way to Florida. The hotel was clean and check-in, out process was quick and easy. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast but there was decent variety for all in our party.

My husband requires a handicapped room and this one had a roll-in shower which he needs. Some places we stay at when traveling only have handicapped accessible rooms which just have bars in the tub area and we have to carry our own bathing bench.

I have stayed at this hotel several times as we pass through Mississippi to visit friend and family. The manager, Tracy, is always helpful and friendly. She goes out of her way to make you feel appreciated and welcome. The hotel is fairly new. So the lobby and rooms are up to date and have a really nice appearance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few hundred yards back from the highway, so you do not hear the traffic noise. It is nice and quiet. It has good free Wi-Fi in the room and throughout the hotel. The outdoor pool looks well maintained, although I have not personally used it. The fitness center is adequate. The free breakfast has the usual items you find at hotels and it is pretty good. I like the quietness, newness and price. I don't like the absence of a traffic light where the street intersects the highway. But that is easily overcome that by turning right and making a U turn at the traffic light one block down the highway.

Really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western Plus in Magee. The staff there was so friendly & helpful, the room was excellent... felt like home. There was also a gated pool & a fitness work out room. The breakfast was very good. I certainly would recommend this hotel to family & friends.

Good location for overnight stay on trip to Florida Gulf Coast. Probably one of two nicest properties in Magee. Had issue with Reservation made online but young man at front desk who was a new employee did a good job of resolving.
