Best Western Plus Madison

We always enjoy the delicious hot and cold breakfast bar with a great variety of foods to choose from. The rooms are roomy with comfortable bed and furniture.There is a gym as well that You can take advantage and get physical fit.

The hotel was right off of I-10 in Madison Fl. Check in was easy and room was clean. Bed was a little on the soft side, but that because I like my bed firmed.The breakfast was one of the best I had at a hotel in a while. Enjoyed the fresh yogurt machine.

Willa was rude and charged us $50 for missing pillows. We were accused, but she wouldn't check the camera footage to see who actually took the pillows. This was such an unnecessary hassle that ruined my trip home. I will never stay here again. The bathtub in 116 also didn't drain properly.

very good even after just going thru the hurricane with some structure damage outside the hotel. this location is very good for me. However, the beds are little hard but very clean and fresh the breakfast is superb with great service.

had been staying at baymont in area for about 20 days last 2 months and what a difference they make you feel welcome when you arrive and leave. baymont acted like they were during you a favor. i will stay here from now on

Television is at a set volume. Most channels are inaccessible. Even tho the stations appear on the Television sheet given. Desk knows and blames Comcast. Tho it's more likely they don't pay their bill. Staff is not interested in conversation. They are better than you and will absolutely treat you and your family in this fashion. Hotels hallway floors needed washing years ago. Absolutely filthy. Rooms clean. Breakfast ok. Seriously over priced. Not a good deal.

We stayed here because it's the only hotel that isn't run down in Madison. But the price is kinda steep, but due to the cleanliness, we're willing to pay the extra amount. The pool is always nice, the beds are very comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here last night. The room was nice, but we killed two roaches in it. The room came with free breakfast, but we opted not to try it after finding the bugs. I think Tallahassee (approximately 50 miles from Madison) would have given us better options.

Riding across America on the Southern Tier with a group of more than 25 people this little hotel could accommodate our needs, allowing us to check in early, providing enough space for our bikes, two vans, and trailerRoom are spacious, clean, and have recently been renovated . What really sucked this unit apart is the exceptional customer service so please do keep your wonderful team and tell them how much we appreciate work I definitely would stay on this hotel again in future, and I do recommend to any cyclist riding the Southern Tier

Wasn't the best Best Western Plus I stayed in, amenities were bare bones. And he bed was so high I needed a stool to get into the bed. If you don't like what I say, you wouldn't want me to continue.TV remote didn't work, had to get another one but the guide was not operable. Bed was not very comfortable.

The hotel was very friendly and the breakfast was okay. The room on the 2nd floor 208 was in need of repair. The floor tiles were loose and made creaking noises when walked on. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, no laundry bag in the closet, there was no pen or note pad. The room had a musty smell and running the air conditioner did not seem to help. I would not spend $168.00 to spend one night here again.

We just stayed one night, but this hotel was terrific. Very welcoming, clean, room was comfortable and well equipped, and the free breakfast was delicious. We didn't have a reservation, so we called to see if they had a room. The manager at the front desk spoke with us and told us that they did have a room and to please come. She is the one who checked us in and remembered us when we got there. She was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. It's a little out of the way but prices are much less that hotels off I-10 and is totally worth it.

Basic rooms but clean. Good breakfast with other eating options close by. Wife was disappointed that the pool was out of service. Nice folks at the front desk. Not sure what is in the area as this was not our destination but rather a rest stop for the night.

We arrived late and got a great room with two beds. The room was super clean and smelled only slightly of cleaning supplies. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows; enough to build a small fort over your head and still breathe. The hotel was very quiet. I thought the rapture may have happened and I got left behind. The AC unit was a little noisy. Not bad though. Nobody has to use paddles to bring me back to life or anything in the morning. The breakfast was ok. I toasted a bagel but couldn't find any cream cheese or peanut butter. I'm not from here though. Maybe people put butter or jam on their bagels around Madison. There were sausages and eggs and waffles and cereal and muffins, bread etc. Loads of orange juice. No surprise. People and staff were friendly. Very civilized. It's very close to the I-10. Very easy to find the hotel and easy to get back on the highway.

This hotel is in need of some major cleaning and renovations. The price was $129 plus tax for a group rate which totaled $150 per night. This was way too expensive for a hotel with dust and ants everywhere, loud air conditioning, creaking floors and unclean bed and towels. I understand that it is located in a small town, but with not so many other hotels available, this one definitely needs a makeover if it wants to be considered the best in town.

This was removed from the Facebook site by the owner - As a Diamond Select member we were very disappointed in our May 27-28 2022 stay here. The property is old, had a musty smell on first floor. The reservation was for a king room 2 nights, we were billed for an additional room that was not questioned as we checked in, nor did anyone check into that 2nd room. General manager stated that since it was 'sold out that weekend' she would not issue a correction refund. If they had asked about any 2nd room they could've had that one to sell too. BW says it is up to the property manager/owner. We will drive further to our annual event in Madison from a different hotel from a nearby town to avoid the lack of quality and customer care offered at this property.

This is a great lodging place in a rural North Florida location. Well located off of I-10. Hotel is well maintained, good service, clean, comfortable rooms. Of course pool and fitness room. A enhancement this year was the breakfast. It used to be self serve but there was a server who prepared a hot breakfast with great choices.

Mainly workers staying there. Breakfast was so crowded you could not get to it. Shower had cracks. Mattress was worn out towels were thread bare. Could not get extra pillows or towels because they were out.

At his was a last minute stay. The customer service from the night agent. I was very frustrated as our room we had was not available at a different location and she went over and beyond to help me. For that I am forever grateful. I will definitely stay again!

It was a great place to stay. The clerk was nice and friendly. I will be staying again! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. I will be recommending this place to other friends

You won't get greeted or receive the complimentary water or Bonus points for your stay. You will pay more here than at any other Best Western you've stayed at before. Bring your Roach spray. Their renovations are poorly done. Floor planks in room were loose and crackling. I kept thinking I was stepping on hard crumbs but finally realized the floor was loose.

We had a great time in a very clean room with a jacuzzi. Very friendly stuff and very clean hotel. Breakfast was good, internet fast and stable. We will defintely stop by again when we're in the area again.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. The desk clerk was exceptional as she took care of a problem I was having. The room was clean and I was able to relax and rest after a long day behind the wheel. Best Western is high on my list of hotel chains.

This hotel is nice to stay for a short time. Given the options in the area (there are only 2 hotels) this is the best of the two. The rooms are nice, not the softest beds but will accommodate for a day or two. The A/C units are not the best. Make sure you bring slippers for inside your rooms as the floors are not the cleanest.

This hotel has done some updates, but it is still not worth the price they charge. The cleanliness of the hotel is not good. Upon check in, we found large stains on our blankets and sheets. The pool is nice, but the deck was not clean. It had a dirty mask left in a chair, a dirty sock on the ground, and also a pair of black underwear left on the ground.

We've stayed on this property several times over the past few years and it is consistently clean, quiet and affordable. Located right off Interstate 10, it's convenient for travel. Only on a couple of occasions have we had a problem that required immediate attention and the staff was friendly, professional and immediately took the situation in hand for resolution. We'll continue to stay on this property when in the area.

There are not many hotel choices in Madison and we are glad we chose the BW+. Front desk person was knowledgable, warm and friendly. Rooms were recently renovated and very clean. Hot breakfast was served (a big plus over a packaged bag breakfast). I would definitely stay here again traveling from southern to northern FL.

Inside and outside walls are then so you hear everything. Clientele here we're awake all night yelling in the hall and slamming doors at 2:40 am and 6:15 am. Motorcycle and car sat under canopy area of the front desk registration area for half an hour talking with engines running. I called the front desk clerk to complain, but she could of cared less. I will never stay here again.

The room was very nice and unlike most there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room as well as a hairdryer and the lobby had various kinds of coffee ready for self serve 24/7. And it was all non smoking rooms

We have stayed in this hotel several times over the past couple of years. The staff is always friendly and the rooms clean, though now need new sheets and towels. The linens are clean, but dingy and a bit funky smelling. Because of COVID-19, the breakfast options are very limited, but they're doing the best they can under the circumstances. There have been some renovations, and I'm glad the carpet is gone; however, the vinyl plank flooring is coming up in some of the rooms and needs repair.

This hotel was just off the interstate, and the stop was easy and convenient. There were several good options for restaurants nearby, and they are still serving a hot breakfast in the mornings. Staff was courteous and helpful.

This place was picked by my employer, some contract thing....They have sent me to fancy but unhelpful places. I checked at the desk when I got into town, 0900, knowing that check-in time was 3 PM, THEY CHECKED ME IN....so I could start work. "Is a room ready? Check him in!" Every thing went that way for the 9 or so days I spent there. The people here make the difference, I Love this place!

We had actually been traveling hwy 90 and this was a short drive from there. It is right on I-10 but didn't hear the noise. Nice staff and clean room. Prices were reasonable and there was grab and go breakfast.

My church took up the whole hotel. The staff were GREAT ! The room needed a little more TLC . But I did not report it. I did however mention my concerns in my survey. They were minimum. I would stay here again.

Greeted at front desk by Willa and Cindy, both very friendly, efficient and helpful, especially about eating in the area. Room was clean, comfortable and, as I had asked, away from the elevator. Breakfast was typical Best Western and adequate. I would not hesitate to stay here again happy trails.

It's a normal hotel, nothing great, nothing abnormal except I was told they only had 3 rooms left. I had my government ID card and was told I would get government rates but when I looked at what was charged to my card I did not. If I knew it was going to be that expensive I would have went elsewhere. I did not need the handicap room that was that much more expensive than a normal room

Great Hotel and staff. Staff was helpful and responded to request for service promptly. The staff made you feel truly welcomed. The hotel is located close to interstate 10, which made it easy to return to the interstate and continue your travels.

My stay at the Best Western Plus in Madison, Florida was Outstanding! The room was clean, neat and nicely arranged. The bathroom was clean and well organized. The temperature in the room was perfect, which made my nights sleep perfect.

First stop on our trip to Texas. Very clean and friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated. TV not anything special. Quality average at best. No Netflix or any other streaming service available. Breakfast served from 6:30 to 9:30 or 10:00. I'd stay here again.

We stay here at least 2 times per year. It was nice to see that the rooms had been remodeled. I would have to say that the bed and pillows were the most comfortable nights sleep we have had at a hotel in a while.

Right off the interstate and newly renovated! We stayed here while we attended a Florida State game and the rates were hard to beat! Our room was super clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable. I really appreciated the updated flooring and no carpet in the rooms (way cleaner!). The staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be staying the next time we're in town for an FSU game!

We stayed for 2 nights to spend time with family. Overall great hotel but pool could use a good cleaning and the cable needs to be updated. Spa tub worked great, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Great trip

Hotel is run down. Flooring laminate in room was coming up, being a possible tripping hazard. Black out curtains were ripped. No toilet paper holder, only on a shelf. Dog allowed in eating area. Halls needed a good vacuum. Staff was doing their best. Needs a good overhaul.

Hotel is newly renovated and very convenient to Madison and I-10. Front desk associate was very helpful and accommodating; other associates very customer focused as well. Hotel is quiet and and breakfast is served each morning.

Jen is very good at excuse's and being a liar. My television reception had a problem. She told me the whole county was having cable problems. I mentioned to her that it was working fine in the lobby, but she still refused to change my room. Being tired and out of hours to drive for the day, I made up my mine to sleep and use the facility and to make this my last stay here.

Nice place good location with tractor trailer parking. Restaurants within walking distance right of I 10. Clean rooms good water pressure in the shower. Staff is nice easy check in and out. Will definitely stay here again.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel while visiting family in Madison. Found the property to be fine for our purposes. Room itself was clean but bathroom floor needed some tlc. That being said, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was an accommodating hotel that was restful. A good thing was that the other things we needed, for example a restaurant and a gas station were conveniently located just across the road. I could understand why the family that was there then had picked it for their family reunion.

Stopped in with my wife and youngest daughter last night. We were exhausted from the day's driving but McKenna was a peach; so warm and friendly with a contagious smile! The hotel itself is what I've come to expect from Best Western and why I'm a platinum rewards member. The room, indeed the entire premises, was sparkling clean and we slept soundly for the first time in several days. I thought breakfast was a bit spartan as I was hoping for biscuits and gravy; but the lady taking care of the breakfast room offered to make us fresh scrambled eggs and we glady accepted. There were only oranges for fresh fruit and no plastic glasses for the juice (so I used a coffee cup). But, for these minor oversights I would have been compelled to give the extremely rare (for me) five circle rating. Nonetheless, a great experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area. Kudos to the staff; and give that girl at the front desk a raise, she is the best ambassador you've got! ;-)

We stayed there last night for one night and were very satisfied. We had no issues with anything. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and well maintained. One thing different here, our room did not have carpet. It had nice linoleum tile for the floor. I advise to wear slippers, but we actually liked it better than carpet. If it is not clean, you know it. With carpet you are never quite sure what has been done to it since its last deep cleaning! Our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was normal for a free one, but no issues with it. We would certainly stay here again. The price was quite reasonable and the location is right off I10.

We checked in on a Friday PM with no reservations but were given a room as requested—on first floor close to desk as my husband has a mobility problem! Very clean room and linens—no carpet, vinyl plank flooring. Room darkening curtain was a bit “holey” and needs replacement —also a/c unit sounded like a lawn mower after being on for about 30 minutes.. I would have asked for a change in rooms but my husband was already asleep... I did report it to desk staff in the morning! Breakfast was good—scrabbled eggs, sausage, etc . All personnel were very nice!!

This hotel was very clean. Staff was professional and helpful, price of room was very reasonable. We pulled into their lot as we just needed a place to stay for the night, not knowing what the hotel would be like. We were very happy with our stay there.

Staff was very friendly but upon check in I was not advised that the rates would be going up for the weekend. I checked In on a Thursday afternoon and then later found out that my credit card had been charged more. At no point did the receptionist advise me of the rate change. Room could've been cleaner. We had a nice stay here. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked. The staff people were competent. The hotel is very convenient to the interstate, but is a few miles away on a country road from the town of Madison. I think there is a Subway or Burger King or something near the hotel, but otherwise one would need to drive into town to find a place to eat dinner.

The BW Plus of Madison, Florida was absolutely full. We are so happy that we had made reservations a few hours before our arrival. The hotel looked a bit old and tired, but everything was in working order. The staff at check-in was efficient and nice, but we could tell very tired from handling every room in the hotel being booked. Our room was actually the last room available. I expected overcrowding issues in the breakfast room, but by the time I arrived at 8:00 AM there was no problem at all. The only negative was the price: We had paid less than $80 for a similar, but nicer room in Louisiana, but the Madison BW+ cost over $139 before tax.

Looking for an overnight between Tallahassee and Lake City, Madison Best Western was our online choice and boy were we happy! Reserve in advance! Front desk had to turn people away. Beautiful grounds and outdoor pool, clean, the most comfortable beds we have ever had and a great breakfast in the morning. Look no further; stay here.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise in the middle of a long stretch of I-10. It was clean, easy to get on and off freeway, friendly personnel, and had great beds. The breakfast was excellent—full service. It was great great place for a good night rest stop.

This was on our way to our cruise. We stopped in at 2 am. We were very happy with our stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It has been updated recently. The linens were higher quality than I usually expect. The price the lady at the desk told me was higher than hotels.Com but she brought it down to close to the cost. Would stop here again.

We had planned to spend the night west of Tallahassee, but events at the capitol filled up everything within 30 miles. We made reservations at the Best Western in Madison and drove the extra hour. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was pleasant, the room comfortable and new or recently renovated. In addition, there was a rewards special for that night that we were able to take advantage of. Breakfast was very good, too. There were not many eating options nearby, but the Denny's was a pleasant surprise.. really good food and service.

Passing through with my family and needing to get some sleep. It's 2:25am and we waited till 2:58am for someone to come at the front desk/lobby. Even called the place to see if the person accidentally fell asleep. Very disappointing.

This review is for Best Western Plus Madison Inn (167 SE BANDIT ST 32340). An amazing Stay! From the moment I checked in to the second I was about to check out I felt at home. Warm, cozy , welcomed. Don't let the address fool you. It's a truly remarkable hotel. Gardens are VERY well maintained. Even though it's cold out. It is very nice to sit out back by the pool and soak up the sun. Yes, it's cold cold out... 43 degrees... May be a surprise to some... but it's the Florida panhandle, completely different weather and ecosystem. A place filled with beautiful people. Amazing service. I felt like I was at home. Housekeeping: did an amazing job, the room was great. Front desk: thank you for being so attentive. Should be called concierge instead of front desk. Can't say thank you enough. It feels great since it's so hot in south Florida. When you look around you can tell this hotel takes pride in everything they do. Very well maintained. Everything simply works the way it should. The breakfast area was very clean. The awnings are siliconed to the building so cold water doesn't drip on guest. ... who does that ... ? I was traveling and just need a place to stay overnight. This hotel was clean comfortable and what I needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was also comfortable. There are restaurants in within walking distance which made it convenient. The only downfall is that the eye Wi-Fi did not work most the time. It would not connect and when it would it would connect for a minute or two and then I have to reconnect.

This hotel was in a rural area right next to a cattle farm. We could smell the animals as we walked out the lobby door, but it was a fun experience. We even saw an emu standing by the fence. It's a small hotel with a nice little swimming pool area. The staff members are friendly and helpful, and the price is right!

My stay was not vacation, as my son drowned in the Suwanee River and we had to bury him and have a service. Most hotels were full due to Hurricane Michael's displaced families who lost everything. So finding a hotel was challenging. Beth at the Best Western in Madison Florida got us 1 room, and we used it for all the family to gather while we went thru this process. Thank you to all the staff I encountered as you all were caring, compassionate and wonderful!

Even with a confirmation number the Best Western online reservation was not recognized. If you're staying multiple nights the hotel likes to turn your air up while you're away. The "Do Not Disturb" sign in the door means nothing to this hotel. Either take your luggage with you or lock it up when you're not in the room, someone here likes to browse through luggage.

I couldn't ask for a better experience. Everything was just as it should be. I had stayed at a supposedly higher end hotel the previous night and this place beat them on every level. I will frequent this chain going forward!

My vehicle broke down driving down I-10. The tow truck driver was kind enough to take me to the Best Western to look for a room. I had nothing but the clothes on my back. The wonderful woman behind the counter loaded up a bag of toiletries for me and made sure I was comfortable and set in a room. The rooms were very clean and the complementary products smelled lovely and worked well as a laundry soap to wash my clothes in the sink. After the day I had, it was so nice to be clean and cool. I went to sleep with no idea how things would work out, but the bed was comfortable enough that I was able to sleep like I did not have a care in the world. I did not try their complimentary breakfast as there was a Waffle House next door and I forgot about the free breakfast. The pool was also closed, but when it is up and running, it looks like it would be enjoyable to be out there with the view I saw from my room (Picture attached). If you find yourself in Madison, FL, stranded or on purpose, you can't go wrong with this BW. Based on the people I have met at BW, Madison Automotive, and the Waffle House. Madison is full of compassionate people!

I don't know what was going on that night, but every person, from the gas station and Mc Donalds next door, to the BW person at the counter were definitely not happy. Maybe it's Madison, or just bad luck, but the person at the hotel counter was not engaged, and seem aloof (and I was just coming from rude service from next door businesses). The room was nice and clean, with good beds and furniture. So was the Bathroom. Breakfast was typical hotel included breakfast, which was nice, and the dining room well kept. Would stay there again, knowing that interaction might not be great

Visiting family nearby we chose to spend one night at this hotel. Price reasonable and hotel nice. Room and common areas seemed to be clean. Breakfast was basic (scrambled eggs, sausages, grits, bread) but everything tasted fine. Pool was having issues (but they were actively dealing with it) but I never use pools anyway so no big deal. Beds average in comfort. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Checked into this room with 3 friends late last night after a day in the car. The clerk said there was one room left that had a king bed and a pull out queen size bed. She said that the rate was $174 but she could “give” it to us for $139. When we went in the room the cheaper rate was still too much. There was a bug on the bed that one of us took out to the clerk. She offered us clean sheets but there was no one that could change them. The air conditioner would not come on and we had to get the clerk to come in. We opened the sofa and there were no pillows for it. We had been in the car for 15 hours and just wanted to relax. We started taking showers but there were only 3 bath towels. The body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty. There was no remote for the TV and when one was delivered it wouldn't work. I spoke with the manager this morning and requested a reduction in the room rate because of the many issues. She said that $20 was the most she would do. Also told me that the room should only have 3 guests. When I told her we were allowed to check in with 4 she would not respond. I pressed her to make it an even $100 but she told me I should feel blessed that we were paying $139 and that was a good price. I told her that all four of us would be posting an unfavorable review on Trip Advisor, but she was adamant that she was doing us a favor.

Great staff went out of the way to help us in a time of need due to being stranded because of an auto accident. We had no transportation of any kind they even gave us a very late checkout the next day due to our circumstances. They most caring people.

The hotel was clean. The beds comfortable. The coffee pot was fine. The hotel staff were friendly and respectful. The location was good.It was near Greenville The pool looked inviting but did not use it due to lack of time. The lobby was clean. The breakfast items were good but not restocked. the suitcase cart was not available even though my husband looked in the hallways for it. The room and bathroom was good. The Ac was efficient except it was very noisy and hard to sleep during the second night. The first night too tired to notice. We have stayed before. Best hotel for the area. Stay was average. It was for a family reunion and we had 2 rooms.

My family and I have stayed at this Best Western Plus on several occasions. We have always been very happy and never disappointed. The entire staff, not matter who has been on duty, has always been very pleasant and helpful. Rooms have always been clean, great place. Breakfast is great too.

We stayed one night to break up our road trip and will definitely stay again on the return part. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Especially liked the large bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was the usual fare. Could have done with more fresh fruit. Overall, very pleasant stay.

Perfect hotel for road tripping. Nearby the highway. Staff is great, rooms are clean and the breakfast is typical american. Nothing to complain about. There is also a little swimming pool and free parking.

I do not normally write hotel reviews unless exceptionally good or bad--in this case, our stay was exceptional for the price. We had to attend an evening event in Madison on a Saturday night and elected to stay at the Best Western Plus on the I-10 and S.R. 53 (road to Madison) -- there are several other hotels at this Interstate 10 intersection and this appeared to best place to stay. Must say that I was expecting the worst, e.g., noisy, old, worn furniture, poor mattress, loud air conditioner, etc. I was more than pleasantly surprised! First the staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Second, the rooms were spotless, the bathrooms spacious and very nice, the shower was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. Also, the air conditioner was quiet and easy to maintain proper temperature. The room was quiet at night as it is set back far enough from the interstate not to hear the road noise. The grounds were spacious and well maintained and the hotel offered a very nice swimming pool in the back. Finally, the rate was under $100 per night and well worth it, and included a breakfast! All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Well done to management! I would certainly stay again and recommend to others!

We stayed here with our teens to break up a long drive from WI to Clearwater for spring break. Room was clean and comfy. Although we didn't eat the breakfast (Waffle House next door!), it looked nice and accommodating!

I have stayed here 4 o 5 times. as I crisscross between the Southern States. I drive a bit out of my way to do so.The afternoon clerk is honest and actually cares about the customer. He has a rather unique perspective in the hotel business which I have learned is as cut throat as any I have seen. He believes without the consumers money none of these Brands would exist.Weird isnt it.The Hotel is located conveniently next to the highway.Not much around it. It is in very good condition both inside and out with a pool.While others are "buyer beware' this one automatically gives the the price posted on the web site you are using as you travel down the highway. With triple AAA and their Rewards Program it is reasonable for an industry which believes $100 is the new $10 dollar bill.At Check in there are no holds or surprise charges to your credit card. The rooms are clean and well kept and consistent with what you would expect from a Best Western Plus.Wifi works great.Rooms are safe and comfortable. After not sleeping for two days at my previous location I slept like a baby. Cons:Breakfast was bad. Microwave yellow things that were supposed to be eggs with microwave greasy brown paper things that was supposed to be bacon. Frozen $1.99 a bag potato's.Choice of one toast(white) and one fruit(Banana). Water downed juices. TV service just as bad.Half the channels on the room card did not work. The ones that did consisted of to many buy a widget channels,a few sports and a couple of news stations.Where was the entertainment??Customers should not expect worse than they have at home. Amenities.Travel to the 3rd floor only for ice.Dryer was broke and I had to take a pile of wet clothes to a laundry. Things happen but I found out they knew it was broken. When I suggested they should have made me aware before we used the washer the morning"manager" seemed to take offense. If you know its broke why would you let customers put money in it for no reason. Out of order sign??To her credit she did offer to dry my clothes but as is norm in this cut throat industry not a dime is coming back of of their pocket once they have yours.

Did not plan on staying the night but we just could not make it home so we pulled in here. Reviews gave it thumbs up so we stayed. No military discount offered but we could use AAA. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Pretty good spread for breakfast, usual hotel stuff but it was clean and tasty.

We found this nice little hotel by accident. My husband and I were in Madison for a family funeral and hadn't made reservations. Bruno at the front desk was wonderful and so accommodating to these weary and sad travelers.

We stayed here on our way to south FL. Check in was easy and room was nice. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. It is easy to find and the parking is well lit. We will stay here again if we are traveling through.

each time i go to this area on business, i stay at the madison Best Western,. the price is good, the staff is great, they have a cooked breakfast , this hotel is safe, comfortable. if you like mexican food, each time i stay here i go down town, behind the courthouse, there is an awesome authentic mexican restaurant. this town is quaint and has lots of history

We just stopped in without a reservation thinking it was a BW so it should be a decent place to stay. We could not have been more wrong. Starting with check in the girl behind the desk was so tired she could hardly speak. ice machine was broken and appeared to have been so for a while. One of our keys would work on about try 5-6 and the other hardly at all even after getting a new one. Toilet intermittently whistled a very shrill noise about 50% of the time when flushed. Food on our plate ended up getting cold waiting on a toaster that didn't work. Reported all this on check out. Staff didn't seem to be concerned but said they would report it.

The staff are poorly trained. Exterior doors don't lock, so don't expect any security at this location. Staff rude and uncaring. Suspect manager is just as apathetic, but she comes in late and goes home early. Blechhhh! :(

Very nice place. May be a little pricey for the location. Granted it is a significant step above most of the cheaper options. The rooms are well laid out and maintained. Best option for this location.

First let me say the staff is wonderful, the outside is clean and looks nice and the lobby is clean as well. It is right off the highway so very convenient. Now onto the bad: I have stayed at several Best Western Plus hotels and they are always upscale and nice. I am not sure how this one got the Plus designation. The phone was broken in our room, the nightstand drawer fell out every time we tried to open it, there was a sunken hole in our mattress, the couch was FILTHY. We had people partying staying near us and they were loud, obnoxious and kept us up the entire evening. We called to complain to find our phone in the room was not working. Due to poor cell service in this area it took quite a while to get enough signal to call down to the desk and report this. Needless to say we got NO sleep. Then we got the 'joy' of having the room and whole floor reek of skunk weed from these rude guests. Needless to say I had work to go to the next day and felt like hell from no sleep and nasty odors. Thankfully they were gone by the next night or chose to not be as rude so we finally got some rest. For the cost of this hotel which was $150/night it was TOTALLY not worth it. Our room key kept not working so we could not get into the room without getting it fixed. At one point my friend was trying to get into the room when I was in the shower and his key did not work again and the maid just let him in without even knowing if he should be in my room! Had i paid money for this room I would have been quite disgruntled. I used travel cards from Best Western Rewards. Never again will I stay here. I think I would rather a Motel 6.

Hurricane Irna was not a pleasant experience. We needed to evacuate north. Mo lodging accommodations could be found within hundreds of miles. The Best Western Plus Manager acceptedour call and allowed us to stay even though she was overbooked. Luckily, a cancellation occurred and we had a room. Everyone at this location was very nice and accommodating. They cared. They gave their best in a tough situation. Each of the employees had homes that were allso threatened.

Great friendly folks, very nicely kept rooms and 3 to 4 tractor trailer parking spots. Felt very welcome and breakfast was great and well attended. Rooms are comfy and well stocked with towels and in incidentals. The lady that checked me in, Ms. Irish had such a sweet southern charm that was so refreshing after being on the road all day.

We were trying to make Tallahassee as our stopover on the way from Orlando to New Orleans, but bad fog convinced us to stop in Madison instead. This small hotel was an unexpected gem! From the really sweet desk clerks at check in and checkout to the spotless room to the surprisingly complete free breakfast, we really enjoyed every aspect of our overnight stay.

this is usually a nice place to stay , but this time I had a few issues with dirty linens and the toilet kept backing up , there were not as many choices for the food, but it was ok, the exterior was nice and well managed , not sure if they were under staffed , or new workers , I have never had these issues before and I have stayed here on multiple occasions, with multiple rooms with family and friends

This Hotel is overrated and due for a remodel. If you want a good experience, choose another hotel. Overall cleanliness is poor, and the room I stayed in had six things that needed attention. Poor value for the $.

When you spend over $100 you expect to go into a clean room. That did not happen. At check in the young lady at the front desk said let me go make sure your room is ready. She came back and she said you're good to go. When we got in the room the carpet had a huge stain and it smelled. We didn't realize until later that the carpet was wet. There was A lot of dust in the room. The desks, the headboard, dresser, tv stand etc had a lot of dust. I cleaned that with some clorox wipes. My sheets and pillow case had dirt/stains on them. This was really a bad experience.

We arrived at 11:30pm after a long day on the road. The hotel was sold out except for one room that needed cleaning so the front desk person cleaned the room while we waited so we could stay. We so appreciated her giving the extra service so we could stay and not have to find another hotel as we love BW! The room and especially the bed was excellent for a restful night.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the area. The staff were not helpful and the room was not clean. We needed to stay one additional day to work on some things in the area. After being told we were booked for an additional day, we were told the next morning we had to check out because the hotel was full. This did not bother us a lot because we had such a poor experience anyway. I would recommend traveling further up the highway and book somewhere else if possible.

Best Western has really stepped up its game. My travel companion was reluctant to stay here but we checked the price online and agreed to look. The staff was efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean, we had free wifi and the check in/check out was simple. Great room at a great price.

I want to say that the hotel was very nice and the people were helpful with any need. I've stayed in a lot of places traveling and this place was very good. Clean rooms and the free breakfast was good too even though it was fake eggs I will stay again if the need arises

Minimal parking due to construction workers parking horizontally with trailers and taking up 4-5 parking spots a piece. Check-in staff was friendly. The elevator stopped working while we were on it and the front desk clerk didn't bother to stop future groups from using it despite it continually getting stuck. Clerk complained loudly to my group stuck in the hot elevator about having to come help us get out. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioner was very noisy at night so we had to shut it off to sleep in peace. Breakfast was pretty decent, though. They had a good assortment of cold foods and hot breakfast options.

Facility experiencing water/plumbing issues resulting in having to be relocated twice after check-in. Helpful staff but hotel needs more work to be up to par. Exercise facility was not clean and equipment found non-functional. Overall, a rather disappointing stay this time.

This is a really nice place to stay and paradise compared to the Days Inn across the street which is a dump and horrible staff. We have family in the area and enjoy getting a hotel when here. Would love to stay here again at Christmas but will go to Lake Park as I can stay at the Hampton Inn for half the price (20 miles away). These are big City prices for a Town with nothing to do and nowehere decent to eat. Again, a nice place but if I didn't have family in the area I would never come here and this is way overpriced for the area. This is though, so much better than the competition. We just booked a hotel with a 4.8 rating in the center of Edinburgh Scotland for $114 night.

Needed a room for the night and decided to go with this one. I would not stay here again. The sheets were dirty in one of the beds. The bath tub did not drain as we showered and had cracks in the bottom of tub.

Had stayed here previously for a family event. On this trip we found this hotel in poor condition --Very run down - broken elevator -disinterested staff-green pool. VERY OVERPRICED due to college football games in the surrounding area.

The staff was helpful and the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My complaints which did n't bother me that much is that the elevator was not working on the night of Oct. 14 around 10PM when we came and the front desk clerk did not explain why. The internet and cable tv were down in the morning. Not much of a big deal since our bags our light and we rather bond with our daughter in the morning, but it might be a big deal with some guests.

No complaints really. Bed was huge, room and linen, was clean. Breakfast was certainly filling, and a good start to the day, with good choices of hot and cold food, fruits and juices. Steff were helpful and friendly, and it's location about 1/2 mile from the freeway was great. Good as a stop over hotel on our 750 mile drive. Only thing I suggest you avoid here, is the DENNYS across the road. We didn't leave a tip, and told the manager why. One reason was that it took them 45 minutes to serve us a hot chicken sandwich.

Nice hotel wouldn't say it was a Best Western Plus just a regular Best Western. Breakfast was ample and always hot. The only thing was missing was oranges, Apple and bananas were available but my child kept requesting an orange :)

We arrived Tallahassee on move in night for the university. Rooms very expensive. So, we drove to Madison and the rooms were excellent for half price. Front desk manager Miss Hogan was exceptionally informative and helpful. Rooms large and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

This is a Best Western Plus motel, and it rates at the top of the list for all you needs and comfort..Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, the staff are there to help you, and the breakfast is suburb..We were not disappointed and I am sure you won't either.

This hotel is well kept, clean, everything works, staff is friendly and prices are competitive. Quick access from interstate. Quiet, comfortable, perfect place for a good night's sleep. Better end feel while retaining the amenities in the room that a lot of higher ends do not have. Great basic fit with a better than basic delivery. Second staff and same great service on both visits.

Room was good no high speed internet on 2nd floor. They did not care it was out and made no effort to fix the problem. My trip are working trips and I had to use my cellular data to work and the cost is not worth the stay.

Staff was very friendly with smiles and laughs. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK but I am a more natural eater so difficult to compare. Although I did eat the eggs and grits and grabbed milk for the road. Was a reasonably priced room and would stay there again if needed.

The hotel staff were all caring individuals. We had a problem with the a/c unit in the room not working, but did not report it until we checked out. The front desk clerk immediately advised the maintenance crew who got right to fixing the problem so the next guest who used the room would not have the same problem. I was impressed with the breakfast served at this hotel. The eggs were actually pretty good. They did not taste like the usual plastic flavored eggs you usually find at hotel breakfast bars. When we booked this hotel, the agent made it a point to let us know that it was equipped with a fitness center. Upon check in we found, to my grandson's disappointment, the fitness center was closed for renovation. That should have been noted by the reservation clerk we spoke with. It was the first time we stayed here, and overall, it was not a bad place to stop for the night.

Needed place to stay for night while traveling. They matched online hotel offers when called to check their rates. Room was clean, had one light that flicking however due to the late time they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was good, matched what I have had at other hotels with the same ratings. Overall clean, slightly aged but got good nights rest.

Older, but nicely re-modeled hotel. Great value--- under $100.00. Friendly staff. Quiet. Typical chain buffet breakfast, nothing special. Very clean. Nice pool. Small town, few restaurants from which to chose. I would certainly stay there again.

Snowy was amazing but housekeeping will not let you sleep in. They slam the doors on the latch every time they go in and out of a room to clean it. They had construction going on and put my room next to the room they were drilling in, that started at 9am on a Saturday. I guess the construction closet where they keep all of their things is in the lobby in a corner by the elevator. I came for a funeral and stayed two nights. Nice Rooms and Nice Décor.

The main reason we selected this hotel was for the large outdoor pool. When I made the reservations the associate told me the pool was very nice however when we arrived the pool was dirty, green with algae and not suitable for swimming.

The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are updated, clean sheets and towels. Bathroom clean and big. Free breakfast, which was pretty decent, the coffee not so great though. It's right off the highway. I have not given it very good review because the wifi was working poorly, not all the staff is knowledgeable on setting up the wifi. Also the pool was broken, they do not have a maintenance person on site to fix it, neither one is readily available in town. if you are passing by and need a place to crush, I highly recommend it.

horrible wifi, trouble connecting and weak and little or no cell signal in the rooms. they tried to put me in a different room but was even worse. also the were rooms outdated and housekeeping left an old newspaper and used coffee cut from previous guest

Hotel was exceptional for the area. I have stayed here before. The only competition is a Day's Inn and a Super 8. Neither are great by comparison. However, either hotel would do if better housekeeping were applied. The Best Western is superior in this regard.

Best Western Plus of Madison, Florida is a wonderful place for anyone traveling on business or pleasure. The beds are extremely comfortable. The housekeeping staff is fantastic! The breakfast is one of the best I have had at a hotel. Have already booked another business stay there for the very near future!

The room had a smell like maple syrup the housekeeper came in said she cleaned it but we couldn't tell the smell was still there really bad. We also booked our room on line and was quoted $111.00 a night but I was charged $137.50 a night we stayed two days total $275.00 I feel like I was cheated because the normal rate is $129.00 a night so I really didn't get any type of deal not very pleased

Maids did a horrible job cleaning our rooms. ice machine not working, soap in laundry not working, juice machine not working. Staff was very nice. It appears the room cleaning staff was unsupervised or untrained. I took pictures of the room after they were supposed to be cleaned.

We were traveling for a class reunion, have used best western through the years, we have found that they have good service food is good, and they are fairly fairly reasonable. Every now and then we will find one out of character but on the whole it's generally very good

This is a very nice hotel with inside doors, modern rooms, free wifi and a better than average free breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is located close to the interstate. We did not hear any outside nose, such as road noise.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a family wedding weekend. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The employees were very nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk even helped remove a difficult tag on the dress I had brought to wear to the wedding. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is due to the breakfast area being fairly small.

Says the first time I came and stayed here it has been great. I tried to come and stay here as often as I can during my business and travel the people here treat you like family. When I call and give them my name they already know who I am and are waiting for me with open arms

Hotel staff recommended Rancho Grande Mexican restaurant in nearby Madison. The hotel was a cut above Best Western norms, but the restaurant was the very best. I'd go out of my way to stop at this hotel in the future in order to eat at the Rancho Grande.

This motel is situated  in a quiet location.  The staff at check in and throughout  our stay  was very nice.  Our room and bathroom  was clean and in good repair.  The bed and pillows  were very comfortable. Their wifi service  has to be one of the best  that we have used in a motel.  If we are by this way again, we would definitely  check in again.

Checked in and went to room. Housekeeping still needed to run vacuum so she had door propped open and air on. She done it while we waited in haul way. When she was finished we went in an left our luggage and left. We came back about 3 hours later and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I went down to front desk and told Kristen. She came to room and checked it out. She agreed. My husband and I are non-smokers and sensitive to the smell. Kristen was very professional in the way she handled this issue. She moved us to another room. Breakfast was good and area clean. When we checked out, no one at counter do I rang bell. Another gentleman walked up and rang bell. Lady from room behind wall said she we would be there. We waited for a good while. Long enough that he and I discussed poor service. She was on phone. Did not get her name. She said I would have gotten receipt under door. I said no, well you must have gotten it in email. No. Finally, I get it and on my way.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, fast wifi, great breakfast. Sausage Biscuits and Gravy were delicious. Room was spotless and smelled terrific. Breakfast Bar attendant was so welcoming and accommodating. Could not have asked for a better stay.

For the money, not a great value. Water damage on ceiling, bathtub had huge gouges in the bottom (could not take a bath). Beds were hard. It was spring break so we were charged a premium price. Hotel needs work. Breakfast bar ended Saturday morning at 930 which is early for a weekend, especially spring break weekend.

Only spent the night but appreciated the great mattress and bountiful breakfast. Clean and comfortable room . Found it to be quiet even though it is close to a main road.Everyone was helpful and courteous. Would stay here again when in the area.

Not too many options in this area of Florida. We had read TripAdvisor reviews and were hesitant to book here; however convenience and location were priorities. We booked online, and the rate was still too high for what they offer. We stopped at a Publix in Jacksonville to buy sandwiches for our dinner, knowing that finding a decent restaurant near the hotel was not likely. Checking in was interesting. I had to initial the form, saying I would not take the hairdryer. We parked close to the building. The hotel was booked, and the parking lot was overflowing later. Our double queen room was adequate, but carpet was not vacuumed and there were hairs on the bathroom floor. It was apparent that housekeepers are not well-trained. I am not sure how the hotel managed to get the "plus" designation, since it was just okay. In the bathroom, there was a warning that linens would be checked prior to checkout, and any missing ones would result in charges. Breakfast was adequate, but certainly nothing special.

This hotel was very clean. The front desk woman, Irish was very warm and welcoming! She was friendly and outgoing. Very helpful. Property very nicely maintained. In the rear of the hotel, there was an emu and a herd of cows walking around. Beautiful!!

Stayed at this hotel on the way to Panama City, FL as a stopping point in order to complete my trip the following day and still have an entire day in PC. I stopped in Lake City prior to this stop, but chose not to stay overnight due to poor quality in other hotels, so I drove a few miles further to stay her. Great price for the value. Breakfast items (muffins, bagels, biscuits) did not seem fresh, but all other hotel amenities and personnel were fabulous. Clean, and comfortable!

Property is very well kept. Appears to have been redecorated recently. Breakfast was more than adequate. Workout room was clean and machines were in good shape. Would stay again if traveling along I-10 in this area.

Excellent stay with a nice and comfortable room. There were plenty of eating opportunities (Fast Food) within walking distance. It was a newer hotel which added to the pleasure of staying there. The parking lot was ample to handle my truck and trailer. The hotel had easy access to the interstate to continue on your journey.

We stayed here 9-30-10-02 2016. Very nice staff, however, the toilet would not flush unless you held the handle down the entire time to drain the tank. We came home after the FSU football game (we lost) and found the door to our room ajar, not unlocked, AJAR. Notified the front desk and she informed me that they have a new maid on that floor and that was the reason. How hard is it to make sure a guest door is not secure when you leave the room. However, the hotel is very clean and the room was spotless. I would have no problems staying here again. The maid should be trained by then.

very clean , comfortable, staff, was great, set us up in a better room when our key did not work, gave us a great military rate, great location, enjoyed the aquarium in the lobby. Pool area looked very nice even though we didn't use it, too tired.

Stopped here by chance when heading up to Pensacola during hurricane Hermine (09/2016). Front desk clerk on the night of 09/01/2016 was so helpful and very nice. She saved us from the storm. The property was better than expected. Very clean! Absolutely no complaints.

So I checked in the hotel 3am Sunday morning. Left for work early Monday morning. Came back later that day found out my Baumer & Mercier watch that I left in my luggage long gone. Report to hotel management...they said don't know...already filed a police report...hopefully they will find something. This is so unsafe and so unprofessional for any customers staying here. Will update on the case soon. Pls beware ppl!!!

Did not care for the service or greasy food at the Waffle House next door. Hamburger and hash brown potatoes were dripping in grease which tasted rancid and old. I would definitely not recommend anyone eat at the Waffle House next door to this Best Western.

I expected more from this almost $100.00 room (not including tax). The room was not pristine, curtains were frayed, the darkening curtain has been repaired with transparent tape, the lighting in the bathroom was practically non-existent and there was water on the bathroom floor which had been stepped in repeatedly with shoes with ridged soles.

Nice and convenient hotel for business or pleasure trips! My room overlooked the pretty pool area and was comfortable and clean. A short and easy drive into the charming town of Madison. Very nice historic homes and pretty downtown area that's very walkable.

We stayed there last year and will be going back this year. It is convenient, clean, which is very important to me. Safe, also important easy access to I-75 and great little town, we actually go to Mayo Fl, but pass it up and stay here due to amenities in town and the hotel is immaculate!

The front staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room that we stayed in on the first floor was near the lobby and not once were we disturbed by any noises..it was completely quiet. It was great being able to leave my room and be served a hot breakfast that included southern cooked grits! The coffee was amazingly delicious. I must call back to get the brand for my personal use.

Housekeeping is lacking in their duties of cleaning the room every other day is not a service of excellent. If a staff is new the supervisor need to check and make sure all new staff members service each room completely. When issues are reported to the receptionist the customer should not be give an side of the neck answer (know what I mean). Because this only create more problems. Then the customer only take it to the next higher level.

Overall good experience. Hotel room could have been cleaner and air conditioner wasn't quite up to par, but room was large with 2 queen beds and lots of space. There were electrical outlets on the night stand between the beds and near the business table, both very convenient for charging phone and powering other equipment. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable, but could have looked cleaner. Overall very satisfied.

Lovely Hotel with friendly staff...the rooms were clean and comfortable. My group held 40 of the 58 rooms and we were all pleased with the amenities and service. You can't beat the price that includes a refrigerator and microwave. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stop during my trip from Texas to Florida. This hotel was clean, the front desk and lobby staff were helpful and nice. I was also pleased with the well lighted parking lot. Out of the all of the hotels in this area... this was by far the best one. The was also a Denny's, Waffle House and a gas station nearby.

Tried the new "BW" - and think mostly the logo is new........ Nothing really special for me. Desk chair was showing obvious wear as was some of the other furniture. Everything was clean and fine for an overnight stop. Standard breakfast fare.

Decent conveniently located hotel near Madison, Florida. Staff were professional, friendly and responsive. My bathroom sink had a slow drain and when I informed the hotel staff they immediately and successfully fixed the problem. Hotel offered a tasty hot breakfast, though the breakfast options lacked fresh fruit. Room was average and needed new shower curtain and towels. Carpet in rooms could have used a deep cleaning. Overall ok place to stay that would benefit from room renovations, but the great staff made up for any areas of needed improvement.

Hotel for the hotels in the area price to high i paid about $40.00 more than the Days Inn or Super 8 charged for that nights stay. The guest book in table next to bed inside said certain cable channels were in every room a lot of the cable channels did not work and in the shower dispenser on back of shower 2 of the 3 dispensers were empty of shampoo and soap.

When I arrived at Best Western, The staff was very pleasant. I was very upset, because the ice machine was not working. It was extremely too hot there for the ice machine to not be working. Other than that. the stay was very nice. The breakfast as good and hot and you had a variety to chose from. overall I was satified.

This was my first road trip through the Florida panhandle on I-10. I was quite surprised that with the exception the Pensacola area and Tallahassee there are very few options for spending the night. This property is located about an hour west of the Lake City area which does have more motels. It has been years since I have stayed at a Best Western property. Best Western has recently rebranded their properties and this is considered a "plus" property. It is a very nice property and is very similar in design to a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean. Our room was very large. One of the largest I have ever seen on the road with a large bathroom as well. The breakfast in the morning is fully stocked and overall very well done if you enjoy eating at the motel in the morning. There is very little near the motel. One or two fast food options and a gas station. I would recommend staying at this property if you are in the area.

Well I have stayed in better places and in worse places. Right from the second I walked in my room it smelled musty. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, poor. There are stains in the chair and couch. The AC wasn't that efficient. Had to crank it down to actually cool the room. It was clean. Cell service is terrible if you don't have Verizon. I would stay here again but would rather find something a little nicer.

Excellent stay. Very clean and updated. Staff was very polite and caring. Prices were very fair and competitive. Breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend you try Best Western if you haven't already. These hotels are very clean and in great locations.

Friendly staff, food ok, but pool was disgusting. You really need to put in jacuzzis. People need that or jacuzzi jets in the tubs. Bathroom pretty clean but need queen size and king size pillows. and more blankets.

The Hotel staff was very friendly, the place was very clean and the breakfast was awesome. The pool was very clean , we stay on the top floor with the pool view and I loved the Pine trees in the backyard.

Each time I've gone to Madison and was not in my RV, we stayed at Best Western Plus or Holiday Inn Express before it changed hands and our stay was always pleasant and a good resting place while we visited or toured the area.

This is a very nice best western inn. My family and I were on a road trip and needed a place to stay for one night. We were very lucky to find this place. It has nice rooms and a neat environment. I would recommend this hotel for a road trip stay or a quick stop.

Awesome stay at Naples Florida.Best Western was our favorite place to stay but there was not one in Key West. We looked for Best western every where we went. we enjoyed our stay. The young lady in Naples Florida was very nice and very helpful.

After a long drive from Southwest Louisiana, I decided to stop in Madison (half way to my destination of Miami) for the night. It was quite late and the staff was very courteous. They directed me to the local Denny's for dinner, allowed me to park my vehicle close by for safety (which was packed to the gills) and even honored a lower price that I had seen online. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the TV was easy to use, the shower had great water pressure and was clean. No complaints here! Will definitely stop again at the same hotel on my next trip out of state.

What do you look for in a hotel? Quiet. comfort, good beds, pool or good dining? It's rare we would give a hotel, in the middle of nowhere an excellent rating but my bride of 54 years said they deserve it. This Best Western has a superb staff. They are polite, humorous and make sure everything is alright for you. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we've had in a long time. The hotel was really quiet (no road noise). Had a nice pool with good furnishings and nice landscaping. This is exit 258 on I-10. Only negative here is only fast food joints. we dined at Chez Denny's!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel. The room was quiet. The pool was great. The bed was comfortable. Because we were in a room at the end of the hallway, we had a weak wifi connection.

We spent a very pleasant weekend at the Best Western at Madison, Florida visiting a friend of ours. The room was very bright, clean and pleasant. The bed was a bit on the hard side to our liking, but other than that, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was good and the grounds were very lovely.

The hotel overall is nice and the night staffers fabulous so we expected the same in the AM! When we went to breakfast shortly before 9:30 every table was full so my family waited around for a table! My husband and kids started to get food while I waited for a table to open! At 9:31 I sat my family down and went to get food and waffle batter was empty! I asked the lady in the apron who was obviously over the service and with a snarky smile she informed me "breakfast is over at 9:30"! She then proceeded to remove all of the food while the breakfast room was still full! So my family ate while I watched! With very limited cars in lot I can't imagine it was a full hotel (especially sine they had to go get us pillows from another room) so I don't think extending device a few minutes after 9:30 to guests obviously waiting around for a table would have killed them!!! Horrible customer service

Hotel furnishings weren't as up to date as those in Most Holiday Inns I have stayed in. But the staff were top notch and offered alternatives to satisfy my desires. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but it was hot and good.

This hotel is very clean right off of Interstate 10. The staff were very pleasant and professional, check-in very easy. Our only complaint were the pillows. They are small square pillows that were not very comfortable, too flimsy. Breakfast was very good. Hot scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, danish,waffles, juice and coffee. We would definitely come here again, just would bring our own pillows.

We were thrilled to find a pet friendly Best Western Plus on our trip East on I-10. However, be advised that although it did accept pets, within the past few weeks, it has changed it's policy, and is NO LONGER pet friendly. One must drive several miles to find a restaurant. Even though it was convenient off Interstate, it wasn't the cleanest or best motel. I found unidentified goo on a bedside table. And, we had to get the clerk to come verify that indeed, there was no remote in the room at all. The walls are paper-thin, and hallway conversations easily heard. Still, we would have stayed there on the return, except within just a few days, they changed their pet policy, so we went elsewhere. Our small dog is always crated when we are not in the room, and has never created damage or a disturbance. We always pick up the pet waste. However, others are not so good. Probably it is those people who forced a change in policy.

We wanted to stop and visit relatives in Madison for one night. Rather than impact their schedule with house guests we stayed in this motel. The place was clean, the staff efficient. The breakfast was very good. It appears to be a well run motel. There's not much to do in Madison, so I imagine most guests are traveling I-10.

I was deceived about room location when making my reservation. Upon checking in, the air conditioner would not function properly and was not repaired. The refridgerator was not operational. My room was switched to one with operating a/c and fridge. Found out the next day that my original room had been rented out to someone else, who also complained about the same problems I had with it. Either the problems were not reported to maintenance personnel, the repairs were not done (or done poorly), or the room was re-rented with knowledge that problems were unresolved.

We had a very good stay at this Best Western near Madison, FL. Everything worked well and the breakfast was decent. The beds were a little uncomfortable but was able to get some rest. Overall I would recommend this hotel!

The stay that I had at the Madison Inn Best Western was a 1st class Hotel. The Staff were very friendly. they went out of their way to help you. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who was going this way on I 10 in North Florida.

THE BEST NIGHTS SLEEP I'VE HAD IN YEARS! I have a serious back problem and usually don't even sleep in my own expensive bed. This was by far, the best nights sleep I have had in many many years! I cannot say enought good things about this Best Western! Very clean and well kept. Friendly staff. The manager even allowed us to check in hours before you're supposed to since we had driven all night and were very tired. The breakfast was very good. The scrambled eggs were the yummiest I've ever eaten in my life! There was not an option for yogurt without sucrolose though, which was dissappointing. But, the eggs more than made up for it and provided the proper protein for the days start. And, I swear, I am not paid by them or anything! But, the coffee was so delicious. I used a quarter of the amount of creamer I usually do because I didn't need to hide the taste of the coffee. I will for sure stay here again if in the area!

Decent place to stay, friendly staff, bed not very comfortable, good breakfast, was kinda noisy, would stay again because there are not many decent hotels along this stretch of I-10. A pillow case appeared to be dirty from makeup.

I am glad I found this hotel. Friendly staff nice clean room, bed are a little firm plenty parking for larger trucks and RV'S. JACUZZI TUBS are really nice to unwind and breakfast choices are great with waffle house next door or down stairs in lobby.

The Reception we received was amazing. Mrs. Cindy at the front desk went above and beyond to help our every need. The rooms were very clean, comfortable. We had a slight problem with our air conditioning, however with in 10 minute they had us fixed up and comfortable.

Great inexpensive hotel to stay on your way to Orlando. The rooms were clean and the value was wonderful, check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning. And there was an ostrich at the farm next door. That was fun to see.

Very disappointed with our one-night stay in the middle of a business trip this week. Our room had not been cleaned thoroughly, evidenced in part by hairs in the bed, long dark hairs all over the shower wall, and hairs and dirt all over the bathroom floor. Throw blankets on foot of bed were FILTHY and in desperate need of laundering, obvious at just a glance. Two bottles of conditioner were provided, but no shampoo. Fitted sheet was haphazardly spread onto mattress and coming off at the corners. We had every reason to believe that the sheets had not been changed after the last guest and this disgusted us beyond what words can express. The only two redeeming factors were the "fresh remote" concept, and the tasty breakfast. Needless to say, we'll be staying far far away from this hotel, should we ever be in the area again.

Cleanliness and general maintenance doesn't exists. Sheets had hairs and remnants of dried body fluids...filth on carpeting next to nightstand and on nightstand. Thermostat had an annoying nightlight on it that we could not turn down or off. Shower continually dripped through the entire night.

The hotels in this part of I-10 are few and not very nice. This might be the best, but this was not as good as a "normal" Best Western Plus. While the hotel is fairly new and in very good order, the bed was very hard and extremely uncomfortable. Only two restaurants in the area limits food options. While the food at breakfast was good, having only 6 tables required a lot of guests to take their food back to their rooms to eat.

This property is tired and worn. I am generally OK with that in the course of my business travels, except that occasionally something goes wrong that really puts a spotlight on how the place is run and managed. Long story short, attitude toward guest satisfaction here really stinks. My advice: Stick with a chain that has a 100% satisfaction guarantee so that when your sleep and your morning are ruined, at least you don't have to pay for it.

We stopped here for one night during our travels. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than expected and very good. Very friendly staff! I called in the afternoon after we left because my 4 year old had misplaced his blanket, which he has had since he was a newborn. He was extremely upset. Upon calling the hotel, they located the blanket and set it aside for us to pick up on our way back through Madison when headed home! According to my son the staff there are his super hero's! Thanks again!

We stayed the night to get a good nights sleep before duck hunting in Madison the next morning. The hotel is just off the interstate. The room was very clean and i took note of the tv remote having been cleaned and stored in a remote sock indicating it had indeed been cleaned. Good size refrigerator in our room, with a coffee pot ice bucket and cups. There were no noise issues, bright lights, and the breakfast was excellent. We were leaving at 6:00 am and breakfast was served this day at 5:30 am. There was fresh milk in cartons, cereal, cooked eggs, sausage, biscuits, and grits. Also had yogurt, and pastries and the gear to make fresh waffles. Little more expensive than others in area but you get what you pay for.

This place was dirty and in need of some TLC. Here's the short list: the tub dripped, the remote - which comes in a pouch that reads "Fresh Remote" - was filthy and the batteries were dead, the sheets, although clean, had big black stains on them, the wi-fi was off again on again, the desk chair was torn, the pen didn't work and to top it off, there were weevils in the Cherrios at breakfast. I admit I din't bring this to staffs' attention but we had been on the road for 14 hours and I just wanted to sleep.

In this area this is by far the best hotel. Staff are friendly, food is good (eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, bagels, coffee, juice and milk while we were there), rooms are nicely appointed and there is good value for the buck spent. My wife went with me on this trip. She felt very secure while being in the hotel while I was a work. We both enjoyed our stay. Best part of all, NO SURPRISES! :-)

First stop in route to my destination at Ocala Florida, helped make the rest of the trip easy. I was planning to stay on my return trip but miles and time behind the wheel did not allow. Madison is a good time/miles for me to stay, I'll be booking again next trip through.

We picked this because it was pet friendly. Also had a fitness room. Rooms were clean. Towels were nice. No trash can in bathroom ... Strange. Quiet location. No nicer restaurants around. Wifi worked well. Beds & pillows comfortable. Ice machine on 2nd floor ... Strange, and it was broken.

Very impressed. Immaculate. Breakfast- the lady who was taking care of the area was very efficient, then s manager came out and announced that if we did not like the sausage, which was s turkey Pattie, then she would cook some pork patties. How nice was that. The turkey ones were just fine. You probably would not have known the difference. Room- all the necessary amenities were there and again nicely appointed. The one thing which I thought was quite unique and s great idea was a "Care" tag for the door. What this was, was your preference to your room care. Did you want s full service, or just towel change or no service. Also did you need extra towel and you could stipulate how many. Finally it asked when you would like this service, either morning or afternoon. What a nice touch and this makes it so convenient if you stay for an extended period. The overall decor was tasty and clean looking Would stay again if I'm the area

Good for a one night stop when traveling. The room was clean and had a television with lots of channels, microwave, fridge, and coffer maker. Bathroom was ok with a tub/shower. The breakfast was typical buffet, but there was no fresh fruit and the fresh coffee had grounds in it. Noticed there was a nice sized outdoor pool.

The "stand-out" out at this Best Western Plus is the people. everyone at this Best Western added that "southern" charm to the stay. The Front-Desk staff were all very friendly, courteous, professional, and eager to serve. I especially enjoyed my interactions with Beth and Irish. I also remembered Willa (Manager) from my stay in November 2014, and judging from the people, a great breakfast, and overall quality of the hotel & rooms, I understand (and am pleased) while she remains in place. Kudos to Willa on her team and how she runs her operation! GREAT BACON & BISCUITS!

I had low expectations since this hotel is in the middle of nowhere in a town with nothing in it. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The internet worked really well. My only complaint sounds kind of ridiculous, but we hated their toilet paper.

We were traveling to Disney and stayed the night here. Nice, quiet and clean room. Pantene products in the shower. Plenty of towels. Our favorite part was the hot breakfast! As southerners, we really appreciated the delicious biscuits with real butter and sausage gravy.

Since the word motel has become to mean a not very clean, germ - scary ordeal I was happily met by a competent clerk in a well decorated lobby. Armed with my can of Lysol and a pair of plastic gloves I opened the door to the room and was frozen in place with shock. The room was so clean it looked brand new. I didn't even have to remove the bedspread to a corner. I don't know if all Best Westerns are as great as this one in Florida, but this should be referred to as a hotel, not a motel. Highly recommend. This is being written on Dec 30, 2015 and the price for this room, myself, my cat was $72.00. With a real breakfast. Can't be matched or beat. Nancy

I've been staying at this hotel for a number of years now....friendly staff, decent breakfasts and a surprising view of the pasture/cows if you stay on the backside of the building! Be sure to stop and pick up a hotel finder at rest stops and look for coupons...can get it for about $20 less per night.

It is always a pleasure to stay at Best Western. This trip on our way home we stopped in Madison, FL. It was a great experience. The staff was amazing, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was really good too.

This is a very average hotel in an area where there are no places to eat except fast food. It was clean enough and the beds were comfortable. However, I would only stay here again if it was my only option.

Stayed prior to FSU game and paid around $200 for the room. Definitely not worth it and room was not properly maintained and not cleaned properly. Should have explored my other choices. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel had a small fitness center and a nice pool. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Dining area and office clean and well kept.

Amenities truly available as handicap room were of such help Besides lowered closet rack, ample grab bars, there was even a shower chair - first I'd seen in 5 nights of motel stays. The room was beautiful and bed so comfy too.

This hotel room is accessed through a lobby...we do not use hotels that have an entry from the outside. The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was included. The location was easy to find from Rt. 10.

This is a great value hotel. Everything was as expected from an upper middle scale hotel. Was very pleased with the breakfast. The room was very quiet and appeared new however the parking lot was the only indication that anything had been re-done.

We needed a place close to the Interstate on our trip. This is right off the I 10 in Florida panhandle. A nice place to stop and refresh for the next days drive. We had a pleasant stay and it was very comfortable and quiet. IF you car to do a little exploring the town is about a 5 minute drive and is a quaint little place to visit. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here 1 night for a FSU game. Hotel is located right off of I-10. It was about an hour and 15 minutes from the Stadium and was an excellent choice for us. Clean rooms, nice looking lobby and pool area, excellent breakfast. We'll definitely consider staying here again if the city hotels are too expensive or full.

This hotel was almost got a 5 rating. It was clean, great breakfast, they even had grits! The staff was nice also and we loved the extra outlets on the night stand to plug our phone into..didn't have to try to reach behind where its usually all gross and dusty to plug into the wall. The only negative thing was the bed, it was too hard. We are in our 50's now and it has got to where the bed matters. Other than that, was good!

I stayed at this hotel unfortunately only for one night! I was amazed at the quickness of the check-in and check-out. The room was cozy and extremely clean! The free breakfast was an extra bonus and they had everything possible that you would want to eat! I would have no hesitation to stay here again and highly recommend anyone just passing through or going for an extended stay to stay here. You will not be disappointed! Staff is so friendly, courteous, kind and accommodating!

We came down for the FSU game. This was a good comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. It is about an hour from FSU. The room was clean and well kept. The breakfast was not the best but edible. The historic part of Madison is a good little side trip to see some of the historical homes and town square

Really nice hotel, everything clean, fresh, and new. Couldn't ask for anything better. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed staying at the first Best Western Plus so much that we've kept a look out for more and they've all been really nice.

Hotel was very clean. Hot breakfast was good. Front desk personnel were very pleasant and helpful. We had stopped in at the chamber of commerce in Madison and ask for a recommendation for a hotel. They had just told us about the Best Western when the manager walked in. He was very pleasant and told us to show his card at the front desk for a discount! We did and saved $20 off for the night. Next morning we saw him at breakfast with the lady from chamber of commerce and he came over to our table to speak to us! He went back to his table and when we were done and leaving he came over to thank us for staying there! Just don't find people like that anymore!

Came for my mother's funeral. Great experience and caring staff. We were provided a "bereavement rate", which was great since we needed 3 rooms. Rooms were clean; only issue was 1 room A/C didn't seem to cool as well as the others. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Very nice hotel I found the coupon at the visiting center to use for one night. The hotel is nice and clean the rooms were immaculate the staff was nice a very friendly. Even though there is a breakfast included in your stay it wasn't the best so we went across the street to the convenience store gas station / Wendy's and got something to eat. Other than that this is a pretty good hotel.

Very nice staff, clean and a good pit stop! We were greeted in a timely and friendly manner. Smooth check in. Nice night sleep. Breakfast and swift checkout. If you are passing through and need a place to stay, it's good. Just don't bother driving into "town" for food and eat at what is right near you!
