Best Western Alderwood

This property is in a convenient location but was disappointing. We have been to many Best Westerns over the years, and this wasn't what we had come to expect. The room we had was quite small, especially the bathroom. When we entered the room there was a strong offensive odor but fortunately, the windows opened widely so we could air it out, but it still lingered. The bathroom floor was not clean around the toilet base and with loose tiles around the showers, it needs refurbishing. As Platinum BW members we expected a more pleasant room for what we paid for it. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was nothing special, but the coffee was good. Fortunately, the bed was comfortable, but the sheets felt like they had been through the laundry too many times. We would have to think twice about staying here again if in the area but maybe our room wasn't typical of the other rooms.

Heading to or through the North Puget Sound area...this is a great place. Reasonably priced, good food (hot breakfast) walking distance to convention center, clean rooms, easy drive to Alderwood Mall and Edmonds.

Great place to stay. Nice layout in rooms, staff was very friendly and courteous and excellent selection of breakfast choices. Easy access on and off interstate 5 and close to the 405. Access to a beach is 20 minutes away.

The quality of the breakfast has really decreased. But, much worse than that is the lack of cleanliness. The grout in the bathroom was terribly dirty. There was actually black mold growing near the door jamb.The staff was nice and helpful, but this doesn't make up for the corporate decision to save money by eliminating deep cleaning

Very family like. Love the area great sleeping beds. The rooms are always accommodated to your liking. I suggest signing up for the best western rewards program! They always make sure you are taken care of !

The staff was very welcoming. The room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was VERY basic. Main elevator wasn't working, so you had to use the south elevator, which is a pain when your room is the last one on the north end of the building. Easy to/from to I-5/405.

My stay at BW Alderwood was everything I expect from a hospitality accommodation experience. Clean room, friendly and attentive staff, hot and cold breakfast (many options for choice), operational amenities. Easy access to the 405 and the I-5. All good. I have no negatives.

This is a perfect hotel for a night or 2 that's 30 to 45 minutes from downtown Seattle and minutes from Alderwood Mall. Great breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, waffles and more. Have stayed here a couple of times and won't hesitate in the future.

The outside of hotel looked updated but the rooms were not. Linen was clean but not soft, breakfast food was labeled incorrectly which almost caused an allergic reaction and the staff told me “hablo no ingles” which could have ruined my trip.

My room was filthy and smelly, not as pictured on the site. There were BUGS in the room and it had not been cleaned. The bathroom was filled with hair and false eye lashes. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The room was dark and had a bad smell. The parking lot is also UNSAFE- my car was smashed in a hit and run right in front of the front desk and they had no cameras (and broken cameras). Staff were unable and unwilling to help me or the police investigate - my car has extensive damage and they offered no help and are rude about it when I checked out. The hot tub was closed most days and breakfast was bad too.

Stayed for a weekend trip...not much choice in North Seattle, but this place was the cheapest rate. I was not in the hotel besides to sleep, so the amenities were not wholly used (skipped breakfast for example). Everything was ok and in working order, but the room seemed old and not updated in quite a while. Even the TV was small and antiquated, could not get the remote to work with the TV so i had to fiddle with the controls on the TV...gave up on it, like I said, useful enough to sleep in. The bed was adequate, I slept on top of the sheets.

After a horrible experience at the Everett BW the night before, we checked in here. Yanet listened to us, and even got us a room upgrade. We are 17 yr BW rewards members, veterans, and on our 20 year wedding anniversary, Yanet saved the day and helped us feel welcome, and appreciated as BW members. Thank you Yanet! You are an asset to this corporation!

If I'm traveling through the Seattle area this is my first choice. This was, I guess, my fourth visit. The front desk is co-operative and the staff is friendly. The elevator is quiet, the luggage carts roll smoothly, the breakfast is well-stocked, the internet is fast enough. I've been forced upmarket by occupancy and I can appreciate more luxury, but I've been pleased with the value and quality at this hotel.

This is the only place I stay when I'm in Lynnwood for business. The place is quiet, very safe and the staff is always so kind and helpful. I enjoy the daily breakfast. There is a good variety of items to choose from and plenty of it.

I have been requested to share my recent experience at the Best Western hotel in Lynnwood, Washington. While the hotel is an older property, it has been refurbished and has an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The premises and rooms are generally clean. During my two-night stay, I first checked into a queen-size room and discovered that the water in the shower was lukewarm. I assumed this was a safety feature to prevent scalding, but the next morning, there was no hot water at all. After reporting the issue to the front desk that morning as I was rushing out to a business meeting, they suggested that I change rooms at my convenience. However, the new room also had no hot water. After speaking with the general manager, I was relocated to an upgraded room ( as a feature of appreciation for the inconvenience of me having to move rooms per the GM), on the bottom floor where there was hot water. When I checked in, the reception asked for a room preference and I simply stated a quiet room- which the first room was. When moving to room two, I was asked again and stated same- quiet room. When talking to GM and moved to the third room, I again stated a quiet room. The upgraded room was a front of hotel facing hotel, bottom floor, in front of the parking area and street , directly near the exit door to the parking area and below the stairwell that led to the upper floors. That nights stay in the upgraded room did offer hot water but also the sounds of the street, exit door and fellow travelers going up and down the stairs. I have stayed at this property before without incident, I appreciate the staff's efforts to accommodate me during this stay. I understand that the hotel is currently operating with one hot water tank, which is the reason for the issue. I did check out and mentioned the challenges of my stay with the reception person. They acknowledged with a “sorry to hear, and where would you like your invoice sent to”. I wanted to share my experience so that others are aware of the hot water issue. Unfortunately, there was no compensation for the night I spent without hot water. As a consumer, I have options as to where to pay to stay based on a variety of factors including location, amenities, reputation and price. This stay did not meet my anticipated expectations from this BW. I'm happy to update this review with a response from BW.

Fairly easy to get to and exit to the main expressway. Room is comfortable, bathroom is small and we found human hair and debris behind the bathroom door. The bathroom is so small that I believe the cleaning person opens the door cleans the fixtures but did not close the door to see what was behind it. The shower curtain is a curved shower rod that someone did a pull up on. We could not bet it to stay up so the shower curtain pulled away from both ends flowing toward the middle leaving the ends open to leak water outside the shower. Breakfast was ok but unattended when it was busy and the bacon was gone and the eggs low. over all ok but we ususally stay at mariott a short distance away, better facilities.

My experience at the Best Western Alderwood was set to perfection at the front desk upon requesting a room, we were met with the utmost professionalism, courtesy and such nice friendly staff, in particular was “Desiree” who was beyond gracious as she went the extra mile for my boyfriend and I and honestly she changed our day, it couldn't have been more perfect, what a doll, she really cares and she has a heart, I was so impressed, we still are reeling from being treated so special, anyway I never write reviews but here I am doing just that, my inspiration is from being treated like royalty from Desiree and we are just simple people but we feel like royalty now here in our room, and you will too just ask for Desiree when you make your reservation.

I'm a repeat customer because I just like things to work. The internet is good, the TV is good, the bed is good, there's a decent business style chair at the desk and a good printer in their little business centre. The breakfast is pretty basic but the area is kept clean and well-stocked. The staff are pleasant and competent. The location and access are good and it's close to a variety of shopping. I stayed three nights and I'll visit them again.

The transformer where I live blew up so instead of sitting in a cold house I went to Best Western where I enjoyed a great breakfast and warm room for two days. It was a staycation and I enjoyed it as also I was having a remodeled bathroom which meant no shower just spit bath.

This hotel is in a great location. It's very close to the interstate and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the hotel rates are affordable. This is a great place to stay if you're in the area.

The pillows were extremely soft. You don't check in until 4 pm. No housekeeping after the 3rd day. The staff was okay. Free breakfast was alright. The room was cleaned. We had to throw our trash. About 45 minutes to Seattle downtown. traders Joe was about 10 minutes, and Seattle Outlet and casino was about 50mins drive from the hotel. Overall the place was okay.

Room was hot when we arrived. Lighting was dim not good for reading. Room had oldstained carpets, mold in bathroom. Ran out of breakfast food. Beds were well used. Jacuzzi was broken. Definitely a older BW. Not one of the nicer qualities. There are much better choices in that area.

Only short drive into Seattle. Less than 20 minutes on Freeway and you are in downtown Seattle so great location for T-Mobile Baseball field, Seahawks Stadium and numerous attractions. Has pool and hot tub. Breakfast included, staff very friendly.

Easy check-in. Large King room with fridge. Bed was firm. Breakfast provided excellent choices of yogurt, cereal in bowls, applesauce, 2 roasts of coffee, eggs and either bacon or sausage daily, waffles, 3 kinds of breads to toast, plus other single-use packages of treats. Overall a great stay.

The room was very clean, centrally located for our activities, great breakfast and very reasonably priced. We have stayed at many Best Western Hotels and they have always lived up to good value. We will be back.

We booked for the outdoor pool which was closed, but there was no indication if that anywhere on the website. The entire hotel is old and desperately needs some love and money put into it. We were in the top Floor, beware if you have little kids the windows open completely. The breakfast was fine, nothing special. It felt like they were doing the cheapest breakfast possible while trying to appease guests.

Stayed here two separate times during a recent vacation to facilitate flying in and out of Sea Tac. Good location, friendly staff and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. If you have an aversion to kids, this may not be the place for you. This location seems to be very popular with families who travel for sports. It can make for a bit of ruckus in the evenings and an early crush in the morning for breakfast. The front desk staff are obviously aware of this situation as we were asked at our first check in if we had kids (we don't) and we were given a room in the back of the hotel on the third floor - super quiet and greatly appreciated. The front desk staff are also very helpful and friendly as a late night visit to our room was required to address a TV malfunction. Decent selection of items at the breakfast buffet and the coffee is actually pretty good. Would stay here again.

Front desk had trouble getting the room right. Took 3 tries and we gave up after that. Don't take a jacuzzi room with upper windows unless you want to wake up at 4am. Rooms and halls are ok but getting tired from use. Breakfast is amazing with a nice atmosphere.

Staff very accommodating. Excellent bed. Location was easy to find. Breakfast was the perk even though the dining is small but food was hot and filling. Sad that pool was close. Would like to come back and stay for a couple of more days.

We had a very nice stay with plenty of variety for breakfast. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very good for the price. No problem with the internet. Everything well organized. Two recommendations: get exhaust fans for the bathrooms and lower check in time to 3pm to avoid Seattle jam.

Check in was listed for 4pm. I did not get checked into my room which was reserved a month in advance until 9pm. It was delayed because the hotel chose to make accommodations to the large group of convention centre guests before my group of 3 people. My issue was rectified at checkout. It was only because I threatened to go to another hotel which was going to cost me more money but the room at the hotel I called was ready. I immediately was checked into a room and was overwhelmed in apologies for the nearly 5 hour delay checking into my room. It did not help that my group was up since 6am traveling from Vancouver Island Canada to get to our Vacation destination of Lynnwood, Washington. I expect better on my next visit.

Room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! Wes right next to the convention center which made it nice to be able to walk over. The girl at the front desk was nice upon check in. Would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly! Ease my nerve. I was a bit scared because of the treatment of minorities. This was the Hotel my friends recommended. Don't know the area but this place was easy to find. Stay was good

We were late night travellers and arrived at midnight without a reservation. The night clerk recognized that we would want to sleep in. She put us on the top floor in the back so it would be quiet. Never heard anything and slept great! Bed and pillows were just right. Heater was quiet and did not bother us like in some other hotels. Convenient location near 405 and I5. Highly recommend.

When my confirmation email didn't arrive, I called to double-check. The desk clerk who answered told me that I had received a discounted rate that was inaccurate, and SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS GOING TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION. I told her not to, but the next day I called again and learned that she actually HAD CANCELED MY RESERVATION. That person deserves to lose her job.

The room was clean, with updated amenities, breakfast was good, easy location, friendly staff. I would definitely stay at this location, or another Best Western, again in my future travels. Just an easy business trip.

I have been fearful of staying at any hotel with the pandemic, so this was my first time venturing out. Traveling with a toddler and my child's health safety -- the most important for me, I was happy to find the room clean, comfy beds, a quiet room and everyone wearing a mask. Thank you Best Western for enforcing this public safety measure.

Staff came into my room while I was away and stole my pain medication. I know this happened. The staff was rude and disrespectful about the situation. They would not let me look at the security footage and told me I was the only one who went in and out. I know this is not true.

This hotel is a good clean quiet out of the way hotel but close enough to downtown Seattle if you need to get there for your business trip. They have a full breakfast and also offer non dairy milk for the vegan folks so you too can eat breakfast as well. The rooms are spacious and fairly modern with comfortable beds equipped with everything you need for a good nights sleep and the staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Stayed again for a 1 night stay for a conference - another solid visit to the Best Western in Lynnwood. Clean, comfortable and quick service at the front desk. I will keep coming back! New pics of a room with a kitchenette are attached!

The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were great. I particularly liked the framed photographs on the walls of the rooms and hallways, I really like the lamps in the room too. The bed AND pillows were very nice, not too hard or soft, yay! Great food was within a block (Moroccan, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean BBQ!), and an express espresso place, too.

Honestly, I don't understand why this is only a 2 star hotel. I had a great room, friendly service, and a great nights sleep. Check in was a breeze, the complete breakfast was really good, and the staff was all friendly and helpful.

I have been staying with best western for over forty years when on overnight travels. The quality has always been consistent and any concerns have been meet with promptly and fairly. I have always been less than happy with all hotels a/c and heating as they are noisy and if weather allows I turn them off, No matter what hotel you use if yoou are used to quiet while sleeping check the room for noise if possible before rentin.

Stay was wonderful. The guy at check in was quick and very nice . I stayed for a wedding and the room was very nice as well as plenty of space in the closet for our dresses and tux's. Definitely will be staying here again!!

Close to downtown Seattle but away from all the noise. The hotel is clean with friendly staff and has many great delivery restaurants within the area if you don't feel like going out to eat. You are also within 20-30 minutes of the University district of Washington campus which offers a wide variety of activities to do.

Not fancy but very solid place to stay. Coffee is good. Breakfast offering solid. Rooms are comfortable, staff is great. Easy access off I-5. Lots of good restaurants in the area to choose from. If you get a room away from the street side its nice and quiet

A great hotel. This was my best hotel experience I have had in the Lynnwood area. They gave me an upgrade on my room for being a Rewards member when I checked in and a bag of treats and water. Very friendly staff, a very good breakfast every morning, and a comfortable room. Hightly recommended!!

This was a great location just outside of Seattle. A lot of shopping and restaurants but still quiet area just off main road and interstate. Decent price compared to other hotels. Wonderful customer service, full breakfast and great coffee bar variety.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town for work and I was very pleased with the hotel. I was greeted as a member of the rewards program and in my notes I said upgrades if available are appreciated when they can get one for me. Well they did get me an upgrade and the room was great and met all my needs. Good internet, morning breakfast and pool and hot tub were all great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great with easy access to I-5 and 405. The only bummer and it is not their fault is they have 196th tore up with road work right now. Good access to good eateries like The Rock Pizza, PF Changs, Olive Garden all close by. The siding on the building is in need of replacement other than that I would easily stay here again.

We have stayed at this Property at least three times when in Seattle area for club soccer tournaments. Have always found it clean, the staff friendly and helpful. It is away from the "worst" of Seattle area traffic issues just a little more than 20 minutes to the tourney site and yet close to multiple dining options within walking distance. Breakfast is making a return post-pandemic and saves on the budget.

This is a very clean and quiet Best Western to begin with but during the 4th of July, booked up. We stayed in 3 different rooms over the course of 5 days in the hotel. If it hadn't been for Gina at the front desk we would have only stayed one... She made it happen for us and even upgraded us, a cute young couple with a baby, despite not having "any availability". Perhaps good fortune or perhaps excellent care and actual consideration from a very professional and lovely Gina behind the counter. Thank you so much for making Washington easy and relaxing! (Someone deserves a raise, she was solo all three nights we saw her working... Line to the door, fully booked, four people on hold, and still calm and polite!)

The hotel itself was pretty run down. The exterior has siding that was bowing away from the building and the pool is scraped up at the bottom. There are some old cars outside that are unlicensed and look like they've been parked there for ages. The staff made the hotel, the check in staff (one was a trainee and the other had curly brown hair) was amazing and super helpful. That's what made the hotel.

Our son & his family live very close to this property. We live out of town and on occasion we like to make our visit an overnight stay. Best Western Alderwood is a convenient option for us and we have had many pleasant stays at this property.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and the hotel room was nice and clean. I appreciate that the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The TV was sorta small but not unwatchable. I also liked that the hotel has a gym and a laundry room available. While COVID has restricted many hotels from offering some sort of breakfast, the hotel did offer some semblance of a breakfast.

Stayed here on night and the room was clean and spacious. It had a wet bar and a very comfortable bed. The location is great if you are a shopper with the mall and numerous restaurants nearby. Not walkable to many but just a short drive. The “Covid” breakfast was poor. It was water, granola bar, danish and an apple. No juice? No choice of yogurt? Many other hotels at least let you choose what goes in the little brown bag. Disappointing! Compared to the pre-covid breakfast choices, they could do better. Have stayed here in the past and I see the hotel is starting to show its age. Could use a little TLC here and there as well.

This is not a place you want to stay. It is seedy, dirty, dingy, literally the worst I have ever seen of BW and I have stayed with BW in two countries and 8 States. There are much better accommodations in this area (Lynnwood) at a better price and quality, as well as a better location and definitely less low·lifes hanging around the parking lot. For COVID times this place was really dirty and just a flop house all around. I nearly left. I stayed long enough to get enough sleep to drive. Bad!

This hotel is clean, conveniently located & affordable. The hot tub & small frig noise are the 2 drawbacks. I take earplugs with me. Jordan, the desk receptionist is cordial & helpful. The maid brought me extra blankets quickly also. This is great place to get away, & stay on a budget.

My granddaughters and I stayed just one night at the Best Western Aderwood and enjoyed our stay. Even though the pool and jacuzzi were outside and closed in Noevmber, but would have enjoyed them. Because of the pandemic restrictions, our free breakfast were nice choices.

This motel was quiet and the staff was more than willing to make sure I was in a room on the floor I wanted. With the nights getting colder I found the heating system to be one of the better ones around.

Easy to find right off of I-5 and within easy driving of many places to eat, the mall, and several stores. Due to Covid the breakfast was a bag breakfast which I didn't care for except for the water and apple. I would have liked maybe some kind of juice and a plain muffin rather than strawberry or cherry, but it came with the room so not a big deal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Due to COVID they don't clean the rooms everyday (automatically) but a call to the front desk in the morning and the cleaning crew will be happy to put you on that day's schedule to clean. The rooms were spotless and everything works. A couple of the electrical outlets have obviously seen a lot of use so some were tricky.

I have stayed at this hotel when I was moving to Seattle and had a good experience. So when I went to leave Seattle and finish up some things, the hotel was an easy choice. The prices are great, location wonderful, clean, safe and the team goes above and beyond to help if asked. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are large. The rooms have a microwave and a college size fridge. Due to COVID, breakfasts are bag and go. They include a water, fruit, cereal bar and muffin. I will definitely look to stay at this hotel in the future, when I fly out on business or personal.

The front desk staff are extremely friendly. The ro oms are excellent, clean and up to date. I was upgraded to a suite which would comfortably sleep 4. Very positive experience with this hotel. I will stay here on future visits.

Love hotel which swimming pool was working :( COVID-19 has it shut down which means breakfast came in a paper bag as well. These are out of the hotels power of course. As for what the hotel does have control of I love the rooms and the location!

We had to switch rooms 3 times. 1st room smelled like cat urine so strongly it was awful. 2nd room was the same I stayed in couple weeks before and the jet was still broken in the tub water shot straight at the ceiling. 3rd room smelled musky and the 2 of the jets were broke. Finally gave up on switching again and just made it work. Went to shower and there was a moldy spot on the ceiling. Some rooms decent but from my experiance most arent.

I really just felt that with the whole COVID thing the hotel might try and offer us something extra. We could not use the ice machine nor purchase drinks from the vending machine on our floor but we could use the ice machine one floor up. Our machine had a note on the front stating "out of use due to COVID". ???? Our check in clerk was rude and I got the impression he could have cared less what kind of stay we had. Only one of our card keys worked. There was not phone book in the room so that we could look up local restaurants. I get that I can use my phone but I guess I'm old school. Also there was no guide for the television. It's kind of nice to know what channel is ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. I was in town to visit my parents graves on Memorial Day as they were both in the Marine Corps. I called down to the desk to see if we could get a couple bottles of water and was told they didn't have any. I asked what they intended to put in our Breakfast Grab and Go bag and was told those bottles of water are in the kitchen. Really, we couldn't get one of those? Due to the reason for the trip I guess I could have been feeling kind of down but everything we asked for we were told NO. Which is weird because 3 weeks ago I stayed at another location and it was a vastly different experience. The grab and go breakfast was a hot breakfast sandwich with a bottle of water and snack and I could get hot coffee to go and it was in a nice little gift bag not a brown paper bag stapled shut. I am a BW rewards member and just expect the same outstanding service at each location. Shout out to the staff at the BW in Ephrata, WA. They never fail to give good service.

This hotel had the most excellent crew. Each one made you feel you were a person & not just a #. Daniel, the young man, was so full of diligence & integrity. They all felt like family in short time. I had to stay there longer than expected.

Am in the process of relocating my business and home, so I appreciate a hotel like Best Western making it a little bit easier and less stressful. I know from prior experience that their breakfasts are delicious and hearty, but along with every hotel in the United States they have temporarily suspended breakfast service due to Covid 19. But the friendliness of the staff more than makes up for any temporary disruptions to regular guest services. Thanks for being a great hotel!

Just came back for 2 night stay at Best Western ..Booked the hotel through BOOKING.COM and got a great deal! I email them and asked for room with sitting area if possible and Desiree reply my message and gave us exactly the room we liked! We got to meet her again during check in and she was amazing!! The hotel is extremely clean and recently renovated and it's close by all major restaurants and alderwood mall. We enjoy our stay there!

Either Trivago or Bookings.com or Best Western screwed up and made our check in experience stressful. Someone, reversed our name. Last name first and First name last. Therefore NO RESERVATION ....... even though we had confirmation from Trivago/Bookings.com. Desk clerk was able to solve the issue and made our trip bearable.

The location is very good. It's close to convention center and shopping center. The breakfast is typically American, Scramble Egg, Pancake, Cereal, Fruits. But it lacks variances, and the long-stay customers may be tired of the same stuff everyday.

I travel for work a lot and have many options for hotel but the first time that I came to this one I knew this was going to be my main one and I've never changed since. I know we will recommend this to friends

Great location! Friendly staff. Quiet hotel. Room was spacious and the office nook was very useful for catching up with studies and work emails, at night. Even came with a nice kitchenette with fridge

Fat shamed by the front desk for the amount of food i consumed. Take note: total of 2 people checked into my hotel room. Staff on duty the morning of jan 28th .completey rude. The two gals continued to make snide remarks on the amount of food I was consuming it was quite embarrassing I had to go eat in my hotel room. I will never ever ever go back to this place

Clean and comfortable. Great mattress! Very helpful front desk staff with late check-in. Great breakfast, especially for those of us who like to grab and go! I would definitely recommend this hotel if attending a conference in the area. Plus there are good restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is in a convenient location, very close to the convention center as well as the mall and tons of other things. The rooms are clean and room service is available, which is nice. The staff is friendly.

The only complaint I have is the location of my room. I was n the second floor near the entrance/exit door and across the hall from the elevator and my room bordered the stairwell wall - it was a bit of an annoyance.

We stayed here on a weekend to attend a Rick Steves Travel "test drive a travel guide" event in nearby Edmonds, and the hotel in Edmonds was full, mostly booked up by the 100+ European guides attending the event, apparently none of whom stayed at this property. We have had mostly good experiences at Best Westerns before, but realize that each property is a separate business and independently managed which can be part of the charm. Not in this case. We had checked in on line the night before and chose a checkin time between 3 and 4 which was "confirmed" by an automabut desk staff didn't seem aware of our online checkin and no rooms were ready. We went out for an early dinner, and a room was "ready" on our return. Except for the unbearably noisy fridge which I unplugged, finding trash on the floor below the desk that had been missed by housekeeping. And a drapery valance falling off the wall. There was one tiny bar of soap, no shampoo or any other amenities. No teabags for in room coffeemaker, although the breakfast in the lobby made up for that, pretty decent for this level of hotel breakfast, plenty of tea and coffee there. A friend who lives in Lynnwood and used to travel for a living confirmed this hotel had been updated several years ago and there were better ones in the area.

Good location for access to freeways, shopping, nearby family. Good breakfast with range of choices, tho the fresh fruit is limited. Pleasant and helpful staff. I like the green option and the bed was comfortable.

We came up for an early valentines trip and Alderwood is the best. Great location to everything Greenlake,food,Seattle spaceneedle. The staff is great,breakfasts are the best. So mear gas and the mall.

Easy access to I5 and 405. Excellent choice of restaurants and shopping nearby. The rooms were quiet and we were able to get a good night sleep. The breakfast was good, cereals, muffins, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and fruit. We are a bit spoiled with one of our regular Best Western locations, as they have an omelette bar, biscuits and gravy, sausage links and patties. The rates at this location are extremely reasonable for the quality of services.

We arrived at the hotel and signed up for their rewards program. We got an upgrade, free water and snacks. Also free parking, wifi and continental breakfast too! Location is convenient to head into Seattle and shopping mall only 5 mins. away.

We spent Christmas eve and Christmas at this facility it was not the first time we have enjoyed a stay in this facility. First thing is the staff are all very helpful and always smiling they really to like their jobs and are there to be of service when you need something. Wen we arrived on Christmas eve the lady who checked us in gave us an upgrade in rooms just because it was Christmas and she said it was the hotel's treat. Made us feel special. The facility is a pretty easy location for people who are looking to explore the area or visit the Boeing Company facility or the Antique Air museum or shopping. Close enough to both Seattle and Bellevue and yet a quiet place to come back to to rest with out the hustle of the big city. Lots of amenities as well and the value $$ will not put a dent in your pocket book.

Staff at checking in was rude. I can't express how bitchy the front desk clerk was she couldn't be bothered didn't want to be there didn't want to check us in didn't wanna give us a room key didn't wanna talk to us rude rude rude

I have stayed at this Best Western several times. My last 3 visits I have been greeted by Desiree with a friendly smile and welcome. She has helped me understand my BW Points better; helped me with a stubborn remote control; and been exceptionally kind. She has ensured that I am comfortable in my room, and is a welcome to my visit!

I have used this property several times over the last three years and have never been disappointed. Seattle hotels are all competing on who can nickle and dime you to death with extra charges and I refuse to pay 150 percent more for a room in Seattle. I choose to stay outside the city and support the businesses that are honest and upfront about their cost structure. You won't find a resort fee like you do in Seattle here! This is a solid hotel, nice rooms, quiet, great staff and close to the freeway without being on it. It's not a posh property but very comfortable. I've never had a bad stay here.

Staffs excellent, breakfast is good enough, but can be improved. Like the location. Lobby desk I think is too close to the door. Feel cold breeze while waiting and someone just even close to the door. BUT overall still good. If we're in the location again, will stay there.

Overall that must say my stay at Best Western Alderwood was good. The only complaint I had during this state was the towels in the bathroom for extremely rough, scratch your skin when you went to dry off. Other than that everything was great, food and everything tasted good. Good location near malls and many other places as well not I would recommend staying here.

I had a great experience here in Lynnwood at the Best Western. Coming from a parent hotel in Everett that was sopposed to be a superior hotel. I would rather stay at the Lynnwood one every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I had some billing issues that was partly my fault for switching credit cards multiple times pn the staff. But as soon as i asked to speak with manager. She had already been listening to my problem and she went to work. She went to work for me unlike a similar problem at the Everett location where i am still dealing with bogus charges over a week later. She had it handled it a matter of minutes and gave my wife and I an excellent rate for our entire stay, which helped a great deal due to paying for a remodel on our home at the same time as staying in a hotel. I would and will recommend them to all my friends and family that come into towm. Not only is the breakfast ridiculously good....they have staff to match. Along with very comfortable beds in the rooms. Thats a huge thing for my wife and I. Nothing worse than paying for an uncomfortable bed! That is not the case here. Thank you again Best Western Lynnwood. Ps: the day manager deserves a raise. She demonstrates the epitome of the hospitality industry. I Will most def.stay again just because of her and the front desk gal that check checked me in the fist day. She had been nice or whole stay. I appreciate it greatly.

The interior of the room was a little dated but, everything was nice and clean. I would defiantly stay again. WOW, the review that I writ has to be 200 characters minimum. I might not book another room from trip advisor again. What a waste of time. Either you liked the Hotel and it was clean and a good experience or not.

I stayed for one night, and it was a positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, made me feel at home. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The decor is getting a bit dated, but is being well maintained. My room had a generous amount of counter space, and unexpected features such as a full size kitchen sink with dishes and eating utensils along with the mini-fridge and microwave. The included WiFi worked just fine. The hotel is just off I-5 and close to the Alderwood Shopping Mall. I had a King room on the 4th floor, and it was nice and quiet on a Friday night. The bed was pretty firm, which is OK with me, but could be an issue if you need a soft bed. The included breakfast was a bit above average for Best Western, I had scrambled eggs, bacon and an apple fritter doughnut with juice. I would stay here again if I return to Lynnwood. Good value at this price point.

Wherever I travel I always try to stay at a BW as they are always of great quality. This specific hotel is a good example. Check in was easy and quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is good size, however the bathroom is tiny, but does the job. The bed is comfy, the room has the usual amenities. Breakfast is plenty and good. Would definitely stay again.

I have been staying here every week for the last month and a half for work. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is great. Desiree at the front desk who is usually the one to check me in sold this place for me on my first visit. She helped me get set up for the best western rewards and then I joked about getting a room with a hot tub in it. After joking about it she upgraded me to one of the rooms that had one! Although I have not had room like that since then it has been a very nice home away from home while I've been working in the Seattle area. The staff is friendly and they genuinely want to make sure you have a great place to stay! I would recommend anyone who is going to be traveling to Seattle for a couple nights stay here.

The hotel was very nice and the location of the hotel was within 5 minutes to my training classes. Staff was helpful and speedy. Not an issue everything went very smooth. We plan on coming down again and staying in the same hotel.

This Best Western was very well priced.I don't know if it was off season or what but the room price was the best value for product I have seen in quite a while. The breakfast provided was fairly normal variety but better presented , warmer and better cooked than many breakfast included places I have been. The Hotel is close to the I5 but not super easy to find make sure you take exit 181b if headed north..

Began coming here, years ago, because of proximity to Convention Center. Keep coming back because it's clean, quiet, got all the amenities I'd like, staff is cheerful, helpful and friendly, breakfast offers lots of choices and is fresh 'n tasty. The only "Nit I can Pick"...I was there when switch from Daylight to Standard time happened....they'd forgotten to re-set their "internal clock" so my wake-up call came an hour early...BIG DEAL! 'Gave me an hour longer to enjoy the complimentary Seattle Times paper over the breakfast. I'll be back again next year if/when business has me back at the Convention Center.

We enjoying staying there. Great friendly employees. Very clean rooms and just a nice place to stay.My grandson loves it when we come to Washington and stay at best western. He loves coming to visit and the fresh cookies in the afternoons. Makes his day.

We always seem to get in late. The staff get us into a predictiably clean, comfortarble room in no time! No guessing what type of room we are getting ourselves into. We know it will be a good nights' sleep. Breakfast is always there to greet us in the morning!

Good location and nice staff. Both dispensers in shower not working, and sink draining very slow. Towels were thin and terrible, not up to standard for a BW Plus. Otherwise a nice hotel room ln a good location and quiet. Breakfast the normal.

place was decently located to the area of my conference within walking distance. breakfast could be better was expecting to have at least a hot oatmeal but i have to make it myself small selection of breakfast items, but i guess its because its a smaller area. receptionist could smile more and make the guest feel more welcoming they seem like they are not that approachable. but the cleaning personells are always happy to greet you with a smile.

The staff at the hotel are amazing, and the hotel is well maintained and clean. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was well done with a good selection of food. They even have fresh baked cookies every afternoon.

The value was outstanding compared to other hotel chains nearby. Breakwast was ok, although, service and overall experience was great. The rooms were clean, and the internet was really fast and secure.

We recently spent 3 nights at this Best Western. It is about 20-30 minutes from downtown Seattle, depending on traffic. Check-in was friendly and efficient, fresh cookies waiting were great. The room was clean and good size, 2 queen beds, desk, fridge, microwave, 2 chairs, separate bath area. However, it was a rather small flat screen TV and the picture was not very clear and did not fill up the screen. The bathroom was fine, just average. The breakfast was excellent, sausage, eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, toast, muffins, rolls, cereal, juice, coffee, a nice variety for guests. The breakfast area was large enough when we were there, but could be crowded during busy times, there is outside seating if the weather was ok. The location is near Alderwood Mall, so there are restaurants close by. A very good Best Western, but they need to get better TV's.

Hotel was conveniently located for several med checks we had in the area. We liked that we had a choice of non- disposable breakfast dishes, except for Tues am when it was, and with plastic cutlery only. Close to several restaurants with good food

On our 3 rd night at this BW ardenwoodThief's cut into our travel trailer with tin snips caused $1500 in damages to see if anything was in the trailer to steel. Supposed to have TV cameras .none were working

We deliberately chose this place for it's proximity to Seattle. It's situated right next to the interstate 5, so depending on which direction your room is facing it can get a bit noisy at nights. We did not mind so much, we had a good nights sleep and really enjoyed our stay on the fourth floor. Staff was kind and forthcoming, guest laundry as well as all equipment in the room (microwave, fridge, etc.) worked perfectly fine. We only had problems with our key cards which did not connect anymore but it was resolved instantly. Breakfast area is spacious but still can get crowded at peak times. Staff was trying to accommodate all guests rapidly.

Decor seemed dated but everyone was clean and comfortable - so looks dont really matter, do they? Breakfast seating was adequate. Having more outdoor seating options would have been nice. Disappointed there wasnt a good variety of teas.

Excellent service, breakfast, and use of outdoor swimming pool was fun! I will definitely return to the Best Western at the Lynnwood location. It is close to shops and eating places and easy to navigate around Lynnwood! Ease of getting back on the freeway or Aurora on 99 is easy access as well and makes for enjoyable commute to / from my home to hotel and vice versa.

Used this as a spot to enjoy Seattle. Easy access to interstate. Hotel was inviting and rooms clean. Not fancy but definitely good price for services offered. Bathrooms dated and a bit musty but definitely clean. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and fresh baked cookies were an added bonus. Used laundry and it was clean and easy to use. Enjoyed our stay!!

My compliments to the staff- check in and check out was brief and professional. The check in was smooth and thanks to the checkin email, the room was ready when I arrived, slightly earlier than usual. Plenty of parking, the room was clean and pillows were great. Overnight was quiet, even being so close to the major routes. Wifi was great, breakfast was entirely satisfactory and the staffer in that area was friendly.

This was a very stressful trip right after the check in, the initial room had a strong cigarette smell, the second one a strong mold smell, the aircon filter was extremely dusty and it seems it wasn't serviced for years. I've requested a crib for my 3 months old baby. I've got an email from the hotel confirming the crib and when I've got there they offered me a playard, which is not recommended for babies this age and not recommend for any kids around 6 months to sleep on it.

This is a very nice hotel in a very central location and close to highways, shopping, food, etc.. I would stay again however, the mattress was very firm, I had a bit of a struggle getting uncomfortable but I did fall asleep and get a good night's rest. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was recommended as cheaper than Seattle hotels. It was convenient for my day trip to Canada, reasonably priced and breakfast was great. The staff was efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I were every in the Seattle area.

After reading the review just posted, I thought I'd share my experience too. My mom booked the hotel online with my Best Western account... which is great for me, I get the points. When we went to check in, they told me because it's my account (regardless of the card we used online) I had to use my credit card. The staff at check-in swiped my card three times and told me it was declined. (Funny, I had just used it with no problem, minutes before). Then asked for another credit card - my mom gave hers with her ID. They swiped hers. I proceeded to call my credit card company at which they told me that the first two swipes did indeed decline BUT the third time it did go through. At this point I was furious, not only did they put an authorization on my mom's credit card BUT they also put one on mine and FAILED to tell me that it worked on the third swipe. This is how credit card fraud happens. I went back to the front desk and was told that they didn't actually swipe my mom's card... then what did they do with it??? We were a party of three... we all saw. I was told that they couldn't reverse the authorization because they didn't know how and a manager would be in at 11pm. I was asked if I wanted a wake up call at 11pm to deal with this. Ummm... no, do not wake up everyone in the room. Common sense!! I went first thing in the morning and the manager was useless. Total lack of customer service skills. The manager, Jordyn, proceeded to tell me that they never swiped my mom's credit card and mine was only swiped twice. Ummm... I had the verification from my credit card company of how many times it was swiped and what went through. It was a total run around. She couldn't do anything and I was told to call Best Western Customer Service. Oh I called, guess what I was told?? The customer service line doesn't deal will charges by the hotel. Great. On checkout, we had asked that the payment of the hotel be put on my mom's credit card. They said no problem, and swiped my mom's credit card. Upon realizing it later, they charged my mom's credit card AND still charged my credit card for the room. So both credit cards were charge for two nights each. I called Customer Service back again and have filed a complaint. The representative called the hotel and talked to the manager... their version... totally different. They told the representative that it was swiped once and it failed but the second time it went through and that they didn't swipe my mom's credit card. Total lies and BS. This is how credit card fraud happens. The representative said that upper management has 2-5 days to work this out and I should be hearing back. How awful. I left a review with the actual hotel and the hotel offered me a 10% discount. Haha ummm... not only should you credit me back the double charge, BUT you should credit back my mom too! And as a Diamond Select Member, more should be done. This is absolutely horrifying and should never have happened. But by reading the latest review, it seems like it is common at this hotel. Awful. Awful. Awful. The manager and other hotel staff were awful, condescending, rude, not helpful, and do not give Best Western a good rapport. Do NOT stay here. The hotel itself minus all the above, is just ok. Outdated. The rooms were very hot and humid, regardless of air conditioning being on. We always had to ask for extra towels, shampoo/conditioner and soap... but always had to go down and get it. Oh and parking... haha that's another story... better park early, not go out and hope you get a spot. Breakfast was ok - but get rid of the waste... use reusable plates, cutlery, cups, etc. Both days and way before breakfast ended, I had to ask for more plates, knives, yogurt, bacon, etc. When I went to the room to ask, the staff were all sitting around chatting... I was handed a knife, a plate, and yogurt. Ummm... what about the other guests who wanted plates, knives, and anything else?! What awful customer service. I wouldn't even give this hotel one star. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The booking process started off difficult, requiring several calls to customer service/reservations, and very long hold times. Check-in was even worse ... the hotel placed three $1300 pre-authorization holds on my debit card, then continued to try to run my debit card again and again finally rendering it blocked. The front desk agent, LaVo "no no no" na (LaVona) needs a refresher course in Hospitality 101, or a complete change in job industry altogether. She lacks customer service skills, and doesn't present well for the brand itself. Desiree is a newby, and was too scared to speak up and tell LaVona to nix her attitude, and stop being disrespectful. Desiree was very nice, but she won't last there for more than another month, MAXIMUM. The front desk manager Jordyn wasn't any better. She is condescending, speaks very loud, and looks like she's stuck in a Brady Bunch episode. She also does not present well for the brand itself. Housekeeping was good at their jobs, but don't go out of their way to pay close attention to detail, and/or aren't concerned with being thorough. The building is outdated, very warm throughout the hallways, and doesn't have very good sound proofing ... anybody could just simply walk by, and know all your business lickety split. Parking is a nightmare, and the pool/spa are not in operating order. All-in-All, if you need a hotel in a pinch, this hotel will work. Don't expect rainbows and butterflies, or exceptional service, it'll leave you disappointed.

Karlene at the Best Western Cascadia in Everett and Ester at the Best Western Alderwood were extremely helpful in accommodating my needs. We originally booked a handicap room in Everett but on arrival found the room was too far for me to walk to. So Karlene called Ester at the Alderwood location and found us a room; this during graduation week and the Edmond's fair. They did a great job of helping us have a great stay.

Good location, price and amenities for visit to nearby family members and outings. Free Internet and breakfast are pluses. Only problem was key card failures. Our room (4th floor) had very little noise from neighbors, tho the people downstairs complained about noises from our room from simple walking to and fro. Upgrade to a "kitchenette" unit with refrigerator, microwave and dishes was a real plus, tho dish soap would have been appreciated since we didn't have daily maid service. Kudos to BW for their green policies!

First time back in over three years and the staff was very attentive as I remembered. Convenient location for sightseeing in Seattle and Olympic National Park. Next time in the area we will stay here again.

The hotel renovated two years ago, but all around still in good condition and clean. The price included breakfast is very good and many varieties. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I will go again in the near future.

On our recent road trip from Iowa to California, we had chosen the Best Western as our hotel of choice on several occasions due to their nightly rate and cleaniness of their rooms. While we were pleased with the rooms, amenities, etc. at this location, our vehicle had been vandalized in the parking lot of the hotel on both nights of our stay. On the first night, we did not know the damage was caused at the hotel. The next morning, our vehicle had been vandalized again (windshield cracked). I reported it to the hotel, and the woman i spoke to said she'd call me back, but I never received a return phone call.

Close to the highway but quiet; a few blocks from Alderwood Mall with eating options and a movie theater; and comfortable rooms. Excellent WiFi, decent AC, lots of parking, plus cookies in the evening. The staff were friendly. Skipped breakfast both times. It looked like the typical Best Western fare.

It's in the hub of Lynnwood where you can relax, shop, eat and enjoy your stay! We just wanted a quick midweek getaway, and it was available. The checkin seemed uncoordinated, but once you get past that it was good. Our sink was clogged but we managed to get it thru and the TV seems outdated for the rooms. We plan to come back again soon!

I stayed here and booked the King Jacuzzi room. It was very nice and helped to give me some time to relax. When I'm in the area and looking for a hotel, I will book here again. Only downfall is the limited hours for using the jacuzzi tubs.

This is not an BW Plus Hotel, but it is really nice and inexpensive compared to a Plus. Good breakfast, nice people working there easy access and not far from Alderwood Mall , other shopping and the freeway (I 5) Will stay again definitely.

I have stayed here many times while working in the area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Clean comfortable rooms w/newer beds, quiet area so noise isn't a issue. They have a large breakfast area with a good selection of quality items

My only complaint is that our bed was quite high. I'm 5'3", and getting up and down was awkward. Sitting up in it was uncomfortable. However, the mattress was good and we slept well. We will be staying here again when we are in the area.

Hotel is clean, however the bathroom could use a little updating. The beds were not the most comfortable we've ever had staying at a hotel, but they weren't horrible either. The ice machine on our floor was out of service, but there are ice machines on each level, so not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

My second time staying here. Convenient and basic hotel. Close to a lot of restaurants, the mall, and the freeway. You can get anywhere in metro Seattle in 30 minutes from here. The staff is very helpful.

Stayed 3 nights, and never heard housekeeping in the mornings, never heard slamming of hotel doors. Quiet, clean, solid hotel, well maintained. Eggs were excellent in the mornings - cooked to perfection. Thankful for the peaceful stay!

Large room, (Rm310) very spacious, clean and nice mini-kitchen counter. Breakfast was good and no run-outs, stocked well and many choices. Dining area cramped with too much furniture. Our ADA room on the 3rd floor would not be good in case of emergency. This ADA bathroom was terrible. Door would not fully open and required sideways entrance. Wheelchair entrance doubtful. Very short shower hose and mick-mouse hand held fix made shower unusable. Motel interior 1960's, needs update. Staff = underpaid forced labor and not welcoming attitude. We cut our stay short, and went a couple miles North to the Holiday Inn [same price] (131 128th & I-5) and everything was 100% better. If your considering this Lynnwood Best Western, demand to view the room and bathroom before agreeing to stay. [March2019].

Clean, affordable and friendly staff. Well worth the price point paid. Breakfast was good. Would have like to have seen more options that did not have so many carbs. Bed was comfortable and internet service was good.

The Best Western Alderwood has a very convenient location right next to the Lynnwood Convention Center. A well run hotel with good staff, a good breakfast in the morning and within easy walking distance to many local restaurants including several Vietnamese restaurants and an excellent West African restaurant right across the road. Comfortable beds and bedding.

We stayed here at the last minute while traveling. It was easy on and off from the freeway but far enough from the freeway to avoid the noise. The room was very nice and clean. Great Mexican food across the street.. Parking was easy. Check in and check out were easy. Very pleased with our stay.

I stayed in a suite arranged by my host company. It was very big for me to stay alone. It has two bathrooms, one queen size bed and a sofa bed. There is a bedroom area separated from the living room area though there is no door between them. Each area has its own heater/ac. Bathrooms have fans as well. The breakfast quality was lower than average. Compared to similar hotels, it was obvious that they used cheaper materials than others including scrambled egg, toasts, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, which was not a famous brand but cheap one. I found some dust at the corners on the sink, but it was not too bad. The iron board was not very solid. Since my host paid for the room, I don't know how much the rate was. But the room in general was very comfortable and nice.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, but the sheets and towels smelled strongly of bleach. Washing my face with the provided washcloth caused burning and a rash on my cheeks. Likely won't stay here again.

I travel at least once a month. BW hotels provide a consistent experience and high value. Good parking, great lobby experience, hearty breakfast, and welcoming staff. I always seek out a BW Hotel when I travel.

Best Western as always, friendly staff, clean, great breakfast and coffee! Edmonds is a lovely city would like to spend more time there, restaurants were great, enjoyed the people and will definitely have a return visit.

Love this location, its close to a lot of resturants . The staff are always friendly and very helpful great experience. you cant beat the free breafast they have a litte bit of everything ceral, eggs,bacon,oatmeal,yogart,homemade waffles fresh fruit, bagles, english muffens, coffee and more that alone saves you $12 bucks a person.

Had a conference to go to at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Showed up at the hotel to find out it basically shared the same parking lot so it was very convenient. Right off the freeway with lots of choices just up the road for food, clean, comfy beds. Nice relaxing stay

First time I stayed here was this past June. The stay was okay, but I didn't have strong feelings either way about returning. I chose to return this time because the location is convenient to all the places and people I was visiting while in Lynnwood. This time the service was exceptional. LOVED my room (King suite with a Jacuzzi tub). Bed was comfortable. Room had plenty of space. Lots of channels on the tv. I will be back again. This time I won't have to decide where to stay. Best Western every time.

This is my go-to hotel when working on the north or north-east side of Seattle. The rooms are clean and affordable with comfortable beds. The hotel is located conveniently near highways going north or south.

Built in the 80s, this property is well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rates are some of the best in the area. Rooms are older but everything works and is clean. Free breakfast is better than average and there is a large common area with plenty of seating. Wifi is free and works well. No reason to stay any place else.

We needed a place to stay after attending an out of town party. Found this BW on Expedia with a great one night rate so we reserved the same day as our stay. No problem! We had a great checkin experience. The bed was very comfortable and in room amenities were satisfactory. The "included breakfast" included scrambled eggs and sausage. All in all a pleasant overnight experience.

The room was very clean. It was better than what we expected from the booking online. We used the microwave and fridge. There were no issues during our stay. The location of the hotel was close to where we wanted to be. We decided to book an extra night because we like the room.

I stayed at this Best Western at the end of October 2018. I chose it because it costs less than BW Edmonds and Lynnwood is a much better location for shopping convenience. This hotel is also a lot easier to get to from the freeway. My room was very large the first time I was here. They had given me an upgrade. The pool was closed for the season but other than that, I enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was good though it would have been nice if there was soy milk for lactose intolerant guests. But there was a nice selection of hot and cold food and fruits. Bed was comfortable. Sometimes there are fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Front desk is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here every time I'm in this area.

Nice and clean. The staff was great to work with. We try to stay at Best Western when we travel. Has a hot tub and pool but the pool is seasonal. Breakfast was good, with all the normal amenity's. Plenty of easy parking.

Stayed for two nights and given a free upgrade to a suite. Clean rooms and good beds and quiet for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good and had something for every traveler. Will stay again in the future.

We stay at this location since it is close to family and the pricing is better than most other hotels. They have remodeled but the hotel still could use some tlc. The breakfast is average and could use a bit of variety especially if you're staying more than 3 or 4 days. The staff is professional and accommodating.

Comfortable and clean, they could for sure add more to their breakfast menu. A lot of restaurants around, very close to the Alderwood mall. Quiet place and staff were nice and helpful. My husband and I stayed here for a night, we have stayed here before last year while traveling. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was that there is no safe in the room!

I was here for a long weekend at the end of October. Easy access to highway to get to seattle and downtown attractions and very close to the Boeing factory where I was also going. Had a room on 4th floor. Was quiet and bed was comfortable recently updated it looks like. Breakfast was good and nothing every ran out Hot eggs and Bacon is always nice. I would recommend for someone that wants a quiet stay in a suburb of Seattle

EVERY single thing I thought, felt and wrote about after my 2017 stay at Alderwood, still applies. Same friendly staff, same great facility, same convenient proximity to the Lynnwood Convention Center. If/when I have to work an event at the convention center again, I'll gladly make Alderwood my home away from home. Very nice hotel and a friendly staff. We were able to upgrade our room to a suite at no extra cost. Great location. Value was wonderful. Very quiet even though it was close to the highway. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was excellent except for the breakfast. For some reason someone felt the need to put cheese on the scrambled eggs. I think it would be much better to either have some with and some without or have it available for those who want it but don't force it on everyone.

We had driven down to Seattle by car from BC and this was one of the first easy hotels to get to .. the rates were very reasonable and the hotel is quite nice both outside and inside. Cont. breakfast was the same as most good cont. breakfast. We had ordered a cot but when we got to our room there was no cot, but a phone call and there was one in about 10 minutes. Found all the staff both in the afternoon when we arrived and in the morning when left to be very nice and helpful. I will probably use it again if I drive to Seattle again

Hotel close to amenities, restaurants and transportation. Alderwood Mall and many good restaurants near by. Shuttles to downtown close by and reasonable. Hotel offers a decent breakfast with a lot of variety.

Hotel has friendly staff and good hot breakfast. Very clean inside and outside. Plenty of parking. Rooms are large and the beds are great. Located off I-5 makes easy access. Near great places to eat and shop.

Friendly staff. Room was very clean, comfy and spacious. Great location for shopping at the Alderwood Mall. Bathroom could use a bit of modernization but was clean so no big deal. If you have any medical issues requiring you not to be exposed to loud noise and vibration, ask for a room far away from the ice and vending machines. Good looking breakfast but not much for celiacs or gluten/dairy challenged. Overall a nice place to stay and next shopping trip will book there again.

Over all it was very nice. The staff is great, the beds are comfy and the hotel was very clean. There was no tub in the room in with you would think with 2 bathrooms there would be and the muffins at breakfast were horrible along with no apple juice for the kiddos. But other than that it was a great stay.

The only reason my family stayed here was because we had BW gift cards. We typically stay with another chain. Because we showed up after 6PM, they charged the credit card we used to hold the room and claimed they were unable (??) to refund it, so we ended up not able to use our gift cards! Very frustrating!

Nice beds . Get the 4th floor for best quiet locations. Full breakfast included eggs saugage waffles. Pool and spa and business center. Located near 5 fwy. The only thing is the air conditioner units Humm pretty loud while operating. Perhaps my window unit is getting a bit old.

This was a great location. Easy in and out to Cheer on our JAYS!! Breakfast included and rooms were clean! Only part would have liked to have all four of our rooms closer together instead of floors apart etc. We booked together and were spread out over the hotel. Requested to be fixed no solution given

We stayed 3 nights in early July and went to downtown Seattle each day of our stay to see the sights and sounds. We liked the fact the hotel was not that far (20 minute drive) to downtown Seattle. Breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed the afternoon cookies and outdoor pool/hot tub. Rooms were decent, and staff seemed friendly enough. Close to shopping and restaurants. We will stay here again.

Place was decent overall, but very busy this particular weekend. Our room was NOT ready at check in and this was an issue. They did discount the room for the next night as a good will gesture, so that was nice to see from a customer service point of view.

I was looking for a place with both free breakfast and parking, so it was either this one or La Quinta and despite La Quinta had an indoor pool, I chose this one based on the reviews. And I almost wished we stayed at La Quinta. It all started with the check-in with the hotel. The sweet clerk was busy with another customer so I waited and Darlene came. She was very unfriendly, no smile, nothing. I asked for a higher floor (again, based on what I had read in reviews) but she said no. From her look, I could bet my money that there were. I got absolutely no warm feeling from her, totally not welcome, and that was how it started our stay. The other young female clerk seemed a lot more personable, and I wish I could have waited for her to serve me. The beds were hard, yes. But I like it that way, so it was perfect. The bathroom is TINY, and only one person can go in. They did have a tub mat, though. The rest is just average. Microwave and fridge were there, which was nice, I suppose. You can hear walking steps and everything else, so walls/floors are thin. The breakfast was good, we were up early so no problem there. Simple breakfast, but since it's free, it's definitely good enough! The kids were excited about various cereal they offered. I saw some gluten-free yogurt, too, so that's a nice touch if you're conscious about your diet. I dealt with other staff at the front desk, and they were all nice. It was really too bad that the first impression ruined our whole stay. I don't know if I would go back.

The hotel is beautifully clean. The breakfast is decent but on the weekend The breakfast area is overcrowded. The beds are horrible! The rooms are comfortable but you can hear everything from the hallway in your room.

I was looking for an outdoor pool, gym, and breakfast included and this seemed to work. Very basic hotel. Pool was nice, peaceful and we could have lunch outside. 2 cons, breakfast was advertised til 930 but we got down at 910 and most of the food was finished and when I asked the lady she said nothing else was coming out and there were Still lots of people coming down for breakfast. 2) gym is pretty much useless. There's an elliptical, treadmill, and recumbent bike and a hoist weight station. Weight station was falling apart, treadmill and elliptical buttons weren't working and I didn't try the bike. Completely useless gym, no point in advertising it. I was not happy and won't be staying again. Would love to hear from management.

We had two rooms booked this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. Close to the 5 and Alderwood mall, Costco and the movie theatre. Very busy and I must commend the cleaning and kitchen staff, thyme were excellent. Rooms are nicely equipped with lots of parking.

Everything was excellent, we would highly recommend. Very clean, staff was pleasant and helpful, internet was fast, room spacious, bed very comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety and very tasty. Would stay here again.

I have family nearby so have not priced or stayed in other hotels in Lynnwood. That being said, we needed a room after midnight and this hotel was one of the few with a no pet policy. They would not honor the AARP rate so we paid full rate. Room was adequate sized. Bed was comfortable and room had a small fridge, etc. Internet worked smoothly. The a/c worked fine and the fan left running abates the minimal traffic noise. Running water from plumbing in other rooms and walking across upper floors was pretty noisy. Room seemed clean enough also. All in all it was okay and efforts have been made to upgrade and maintain but it is an older hotel that is strictly average. May not be overpriced but compared to so many hotels in which we have stayed, it seemed overpriced. If you can't find a newer hotel for less, it will definitely serve the purposes of a good bed.

Nice, functional hotel. Massive and comfortably firm beds. Well appointed rooms and well equipped. Breakfast is fine and included. Down sides- minimal - a long way from Seattle if that's what you want ( hence the great price) but a Lyft will get you in for about $35. Reception staff not particularly helpful.

I've stayed at many hotels in Lynnwood but somehow avoided staying at the best western until this last May. I selected it based on price, but I was amazed at how beautiful it was. The room was modern, and the little pool area was nice and quaint in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one staying in this area.

I checked in on 7-10 at 10:30 pm. I found one parking place but since the cars on both sides were pinching the white lines, it was too narrow to allow me to both park AND actually get out of the car. So I drove around the entire hotel, looking for other parking spaces as I was driving back to the hotel entry. I didn't see anything. The gal at the front desk was very nice and chatty (she moved from Colorado to here). I asked her if it was possible that every parking space was full. She said it was possible since the hotel was 100% full. I told her that I wasn't sure there weren't any spaces but I hadn't seen any as I drove around the hotel. She said she was going off duty before too long and she said she would move HER car so I could take her space. That was SO generous and kind to my bad knees! Great employee! My room was clean and comfortable. I planned to have breakfast but the breakfast area was too full and too busy to make it worth it to me. I grabbed a banana and made do. Needless to say, I valued the employee's going the extra mile for my being able to park more than getting breakfast, hence 5 stars!!

Hotel was great, bed was comfortable , breakfast was great , they always have soy milk which is helpful since I can't have regular milk. It's a very nice place to stay, convenient to Seattle but out of the busy parts

We have stayed at this property in the past, so comparing this stay with those. Overall, even though this is an older BW, it is well taken care of. There is a nice, airy breakfast area that opens to the pool area where there are additional tables. The food was fresh and well prepared. What seems to have declined is room cleaning. We hung the "make up room" sign at 9:30. At that time, the cleaning cart was parked next to our door and we greeted the maid. We were disappointed to return at 2:30 only to find our room had not been serviced. Finally the room was "cleaned". A streaked mirror that was that way when we moved in, had still not been wiped. We did not receive soap, shampoo and conditioner replacements. Sometimes it's the inattention to detail that becomes a differentiator.

This hotel is well maintained. Staff very friendly. Location is perfect for doing things in the Seattle area and surroundings. Easy access to freeway. Grocery store nearby. Buffet breakfast warm and tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay for a conference at the Convention Center. No Upgrade this time to the suite, but the regular rooms are nice also, clean and well kept up. I was in 394 this visit. Beds are comfortable and I always sleep well here. Parking this time did not seem to be as hard to find as last time, and it is close enough to walk to the convention center so you avoid the parking issues there. Service as always was good. Morning breakfast is sufficient with a few hot items that varied on my two mornings - nice to not have the same exact thing if you are staying multiple days. I would stay here again in the future.

By booking a long time in advance and taking advantage of their multiple-night stay discount we got a very good rate at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights while visiting relatives in the area. The room was of good size with two queen beds, as requested. It also had a microwave and small refrigerator. There was a chair and a footstool. The beds were comfortable. The sink was in the main room while the commode and shower/tub were in a separate room. Everything was clean and in good repair. The wifi worked satisfactorily. There was an extensive included breakfast bar with scrambled eggs, bacon and do-it-yourself waffles in addition to cereal, yogurt, bananas, etc. Would definitely stay here again, especially if I could again get a good rate.

Our area I believe was the older part of the hotel. For the most part it had been remodeled and you couldn't really tell. It was SUPER clean which we very much enjoyed. Front desk staff were super nice. The bed wasn't bad... The air conditioning worked great. We had several channels on the TV. There was a free breakfast but due to travel arrangements we had to get out fairly early and didn't get a chance to eat. Convenient to Seattle or the Canadian border. I would stay here again if in the area.

Rooms need refresh. Hot tub never worked during our 3 days. Staff was clueless. Maintenance was cutting into the walls of the hallways during our stay. Very sketchy. Overall, there are numerous options in the immediate area that are newer, nicer, cheaper and offer a better experience.

Stayed 2 nights and must say did not enjoy this hotel. The check in staff were unhelpful as we wanted to pay up front instead of having our credit card authorised. As frequent travellers we are tired of hotels not removing authorisations and hence we "run out of money" on our card until the authorisations finally drop off weeks later. They would not help us with this and this is super annoying. We just felt that we were not welcome here and as Best Western Rewards members may have to look at other hotel chains. We had the same problem on check out when we wanted to pay with a different card and the girl was unhelpful toward my wife as she was using a travel card but for some reason she needed my id....they had our id on check in!!! Not a pleasant experience at all. The breakfast room was crowded with many people just standing and sitting around talking thus leaving no available space for us to sit and eat...this is not a chat room!!!! The tables were not cleaned and when we did get to sit had to clean the table ourselves. Will not return here.

We stayed over on our way from Seattle to Vancouver. Excellent parking spaces for cars and close to restaurants. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We each had a queen bed and slept very comfortably.

We found the overall experience of this hotel to our satisfaction. Used it to stay at while attending a theatre show in Seattle. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast selection was good and staff were all very pleasant. Plus free parking in well lit and security cameras made us feel at ease.

Very nice location for where we needed to be for our trip. Away on business and recreation most of the day so didn't use services much. Pool was outside and not heated so not able to utilize as we would have liked to

Great price for this Lynnwood Best Western - plus the location was perfect, just steps away from my business conference at the Lynwood Convention Center. The refurbished room was fine - just what you would expect at an older hotel, a bit noisy and the bed shook when the exterior door slammed shut. Just pack earplugs and you'll be fine.

The bed was unsleepable (literally) - the divot in the bed forced me to try to sleep sideways - they offered me an extra comforter to help fill the divot. The jetted tub was out of order and wasn't addressed regardless of my report.

This hotel is well located to shopping areas. It offers good value if you are looking for a place to sleep and also have breakfast and internet included in the price. Would have rated it higher, but the mattress on one of the beds needed replacement in our double bed room.

Stayed here for a couple of days on a road trip this week. Reception staff were extremely friendly, got a room upgrade by joining the loyalty program. Room was a bit dated but clean and no safe in it but could use a deposit box at reception. Buffet breakfast, no complaints there and some decent coffee, couple of bagels set me up for the day. Price was very good. Would have got a 5 if decor etc. was a little more modern.

We stayed here one night. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The breakfast was great: sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, juice etc. We will stay here again!

I was sad to see that this hotel I have stayed in before has maintenance issues that are not being addressed. Previous stays here have been just fine. But this time things seem to have gone down hill.

Snotty girl at front desk-didn't offer info about the place-I had to ask. Didn't acknowledge my BW membership or offer amenity. The room was not bad-weird set up. Tiny bathroom but there was a shelf area for personal items outside of the bathroom. I stayed here because my usual business lodging was booked.

As someone who has done a lot of traveling and been in a lot of hotels, This Best Western was was one of the worst overall hotels I've ever stayed in. Only the Econo Lodge in Kennewick, WA was worse. But for a Best Western, this was a disappointment to say the least. Starting with the customer service. From the day before when I called about possibly getting some extra blankets in the room and speaking to Ester, I already could feel the vibe that this particular front desk agent hated her career choice. I called about the blankets and to make sure I wasn't going to be in any pet rooms and was told, "Umm, the whole hotel is non-pet friendly.....and yeah I'll put it in the notes that you want more blankets..." Ester's tone was Not very inviting and not someone I'd care to ever do business with again. Then we move on to check in around 7pm where I met a young blonde haired girl who also acted as though she made the wrong career choice in her life. I can't recall but I think her name was Carolina or Caroline but as I attempted to make small talk and be engaging with her, she acted as though she couldn't get out of work soon enough. I asked her,""Been a long day huh?" and She responded with, "Yeah, I can't wait to get out of her at 9 o' clock...." as she rolled her eyes in annoyance...She got me my keys and sent me on my way and I proceeded to head to my room. Upon arrival to my room I noticed that the area was initially clean, with a king bed and a little small. No big deal as it was just me and I was just needing a place to stay for the night.I go to open up the window and I'm met with a great "Building View"....They put me in a corner area where the view was of the building and a sliver of the parking lot area. To compound the lack of a view, there was a nice sized smudge mark on that area of the glass that someone had pressed their head on to look into the parking lot... I go to turn on the TV and am met with a blue screen and a notification saying, "No Signal". I changed channels and messed with the inputs and was not able to get a channel to come on. I called down to the front desk and spoke to Carolina/Caroline and she said, "Yeah the cable company is having issues right now and has been for a while but the WiFi works...." This is a lack of general respect and or care. If you know that the cable isn't working, say something up front to the guests instead of making them waste their time trying to figure it out. Thankfully I had my Amazon FireStick and just used the WiFi. The night was uneventful and eventually I was able to get two blankets from the front desk and again the blonde front desk agent couldn't be in a better mood to leave the hotel this evening. The room outside of things mentioned above was clean. The bathroom and bed were clean and the mini-fridge and microwave were clean. The next morning breakfast was great and had lots of options for both hot and cold options with lots of places to sit and eat or take up to your room if you wanted. The breakfast staff was kind and greeted me with a big smile this morning. Overall a very disappointing stay. The majority of the staff lacks in a any level of care or commitment to customer service. I encountered a majority of younger women who carried themselves as hating their jobs/lives and none of them that felt kind and approachable. This place had the potential to be a nice stay but fell short in many respects the biggest one being customer service. This is an easy fix and management needs to address this. -Rick V.

A wonderful motel that could be better. We checked in and all was 1st class. The room was wonderful. You can tell they care about this property. Then my wife took a bath. NO HOT WATER. So we let the water run on hot only for the next 20 minutes. So we let the hot water run another 10 minutes. This is in the middle of the afternoon when few people were checked in. Thinking the hot water had not run to the 4 floor I let it run longer. NO HOT WATER. I took a bath next and still NO HOT WATER. You can leave your hand or foot under the all hot water and still NOT HOT. I thought maybe it was the faucet for the tub. So I tried the sink. It was the same. So I called the office. They offered to move us to another room. We liked the room. The same cool water flows to multiple room so what is the point in moving. Why not fix the element or turn it on higher. A fine motel that could be great. Management -- No point in sending me a sorry you were disappointed in our service. JUST FIX THE PROBLEM! This is a management problem. It is something that can be fixed. Turn it up hotter or fix the broken part. We like the room but it is no good without hot water. You wasted our money. After a day on the road we expect much more than cooler water. If we wanted cool water we would swim in the Pacific Ocean. You lost a return customer.

A quick weekend getaway led us to this BW. What a treat. Quiet area, off the freeway but so convenient to access and close to the mall! Rates are good and room was large and clean. We were on 4th floor and it was quiet! All the staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. The cookies and coffee were a great treat when we returned from shopping. Pool was closed but it is a nice outdoor area. Grounds were well kept.

Amazing value. Breakfast is worth getting up early for, Don't miss it. The rooms are amazing. Very close to the Lynnwood convention center. And the house keeping supervisor Christina is smoking hot with an amazing additude.

I liked to stay at Best Western Hotel. Room very comfortable, breakfast good and friendly staff.I will fit due come back next time. Also fast way to Seattle and with a car it's good. Also parking easy.

Fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples, and bananas) in addition to all the other hot and cold items. This stay was during several events in town and they handled groups well. We have stayed here several times. Find it convenient, clean, quiet. The breakfast is adequate and plentiful, if not haute cuisine. Very easy to get to hotel from I-5. It is close to the mall, Edmonds, Everett.

We stayed here for four nights and it was fine except for the first night. The walls must be quite thin as we were disturbed by very loud next door neighbors. One call to the front desk seemed to solve the issue as they quieted down after we called. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts and coffee are ok. The location is convenient to restaurants and within walking distance of the Alderwood Mall.

Got a free upgrade for becoming a Best Western member. Really enjoyed the Jacuzzi in my room. There was lots of good options for breakfast. Didn't get to enjoy the pool as it was still to cold out. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel while I was doing some work north of Seattle. The location places you 10 miles north of Seattle, near a mall and many good places to eat. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. It was an overall great value.

Close to conference center, poor walking around area as very busy streets. Hotel is nice, adequate parking. Standard BW breakfast. Nice quiet heat units in room. Had a everything we needed. Staff was attentive

This location's defining feature is it's proximity to the Lynnwood convention centre. It is less than a 2 minute walk through the parking lot. Nothing offensive about the place except it's quite dated. It was quiet and I had a good sleep. Also very convenient to Alderwood Mall, which has a couple good restaurant selections. Breakfast smelled good, even though I didn't participate!

This property is 3*, very clean and for the budget minded. We are a senior couple and have been coming to the Best Western Alderwood once or twice a year when we are in the area because of the price and the reliability of the hotel. We have noticed improvements each year. The entire hotel has had new beds over the last year! Beds are so important and these are wonderful! We were in room198 and will ask for the same or like room again...a large King Jr Suite with a small kitchen affair along one wall. Coffee maker, bar refrigerator, sink, and a microwave. (No dishes) If you have a small child who will share the bed with you, the extra large room will be a huge advantage! The breakfast room is spacious. More seating seems to have been added without compromising anyone. Breakfast is scrambled eggs and cheese omelettes, bacon, waffles, cereals, a variety of breads, fruit and yogurts and juices. The staff are all very pleasant.

I selected this hotel for a trip in the Lynnwood area for a couple of nights. I was very happy the access was easy to get on and off I-5 to this hotel. We were able to check in a little early since our room was ready. Coffee was available in the lobby when we checked in. The hotel appeared newer or had been remodeled fairly recently. I am not sure if it was a room upgrade, but our bigger room on the 4th floor had vaulted ceilings, so it was nice to have the extra space. Room had the standard items that a hotel of this class would have. Room and bathroom were very clean. It was very quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. At our request, the staff provided us with extra blankets in case our room got cold but the heater worked fine. A continental breakfast was provided in the lobby every morning. The hotel is located within minutes of the Alderwood Mall, which is a big shopping area. There was one stoplight to get onto I-5, and took about 20 minutes to downtown Seattle (minimal traffic). Although we didn't eat anywhere within walking distance of the hotel, there are several restaurants within a block or two, and a grocery store just minutes away. This hotel is located right by the Lynnwood Convention Center. I will definitely stay here again if I need a hotel in the area. Price was very reasonable too.

This is a quiet location just off 196th, close to I-5 and shopping, good dining options right across the street, VERY VERY COMFORTABLE beds, reliable WiFi, and quiet rooms. Amazing customer service. Would like more hot vegan breakfast options, please (like hash brown or breakfast potatoes)...I did like how they had soy milk available in the little fridge though.

Highly recommended close to mall and highway. Great breakfast which makes the value go up quite subatantially. Close to Seattle as well as other major tourist attractions so great location. Easy to check in and out

My plan to drive home had been delayed due to snow in the pass and I was looking for a hotel. Being a bit of a cheapo I was looking for something reasonably priced and easy place to find. This place was perfect. Comfortable room and I had not been in the room more than a couple of minutes on the front desk called to ask if everything was OK. Never had that happen before. Breakfast was standard buffet but very filling and good for the long trip home.

Upon arrival we had a strag=nge problem with out room that the front desk staff solved immediately and to our 100% satisfaction. It was a crowded holiday weekend and Jordon and Esther helped us greatly to find a great solution. The staff at this motel make it a great and welcoming place to stay.

the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. check in/check out was quick and efficient . really enjoyed the breakfast especially the fresh fruit and waffles. the location was excellent with easy access to shopping and restaurants would definitely stay here again

We stayed for 2 nights in November, hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable.. breakfast was supplied in the morning.. fresh Waffles, toast, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, sausages to name a few.. staff were friendly and accommodating.

This a clean, comfortable hotel with good amenities in the rooms. Breakfast is adequate. Staff are helpful and courteous and very helpful if you arrive early or have to wait after checkout time before your flight. Best evening meals are at the Rock pizza house and the excellent Isarn Thai soil kitchen.

This Best Western is a nice older hotel. The rooms are small but very comfortable. We had a king bedroom room on the top floor facing a very busy street. The rooms on the backside of the hotel overlook the pool area and would be much quieter. The road noise is not horrible but my wife and I are small town folks and the only sounds we hear at night are occasional racoons either having the fight of their lives or doing something else, either way their screams of passion or pain is not fun to listen to. That said, I would take the sounds of nature rather than the never ending stream of cars. After a tough night of sleep we wondered to the breakfast area. Someone was having a bad day as this food was barely edible. The eggs... well it resembled eggs, it was a yellow color and even with salsa and cheese this was pretty bad. The reason for this trip was that I had a medical appointment at the UW Medical Center. The hotels in the U district or downtown were crazy expensive so I checked Mapquest and it was only about a 20 minute drive. On this morning drive it wasn't 20 minutes. We left the hotel on a Tuesday morning and it was Happy Hour by the time we arrived at the hospital. Ok I exaggerated, but I needed Happy Hour rather than seeing a doc and getting more bad news. Bottom line, we would stay here again, the rooms are fine, the price is great, the employees are wonderful, super efficient and professional.

The room look very clean and updated! The breakfast has a great variety of items!! Very good price for everything they offer. Great location as well.The staff was really nice too! I really recommend this hotel.

Property a tad hard to access, right off the freeway with a twist. Staff personable and anxious to please. Very comfortable beds and very good full offering breakfast. Good value for the price. Free parking!

on the 3rd floor, road noise was distracting and i could every car door close. Room nicely appointed with dark color cabinets and stainless steel. Decent desk and chair for working. No large vehicle parking and you have to put a parking pass in your car to keep it from being towed. Heavy traffic in the area all night. Close to a convention center, so that may appeal to others, just not me for the quick stay.

Our recent stay here was average all around. The goal of our girls trip was to shop during the day and spend time socializing in the evening. I will give kudos for the updated lobby and breakfast bar area. The rooms leave much to be desired even after their attempts at upgrading. Our double room had comfortable beds (this is a plus) and a bathroom so tight the door just about hits the toilet seat as you open it (toilet is straight ahead). Our expectations for our friends 'King' room were also short. Although she had a full shower redo with sliding glass doors - not the flimsy shower curtain that wrapped around our legs, her newer sink was literally AT the door and you could not open the door and stand at the sink (yes, toiletries on display for anyone walking by or to see while the room is being cleaned) at the same time. We also expected she would have some sort of sofa or seating area with a King room which another local hotel we usually stay at has. The breakfast food and coffee were good, but my vote will be to skip this hotel next time.

Location is great, bed was comfortable and staff was helpful. Street noise was a problem for me, so I was given a quiet room. Building is older and could use updating of TV's and heating/ac units. Breakfast was a good selection of higher quality items than most hotels.

We stayed here for several nights before taking a cruise out of Seattle. It is not too far from the Boeing Plant that we wanted to tour. The staff was very friendly and our room was good size, quiet and clean but dated. Wifi is free as is breakfast. The breakfast was okay also. We probably would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The BW Alderwood in Lynnwood is a nice clean and comfortable hotel to the north of Seattle. The rooms are clean and have been modernized with a very comfortable bed and plenty of outlets for chargers and a CPAP machine. Breakfast has nearly all you will need to start your day with eggs, sausage (or bacon), waffle maker, etc.... Whenever I need to stay the night north of Seattle, this is my first choice.

We received an upgrade for an unwrapped present. Christmas shopping trip. Bacon for breakfast. Great all round experience. Close to all shops and restaurants. We had a lovely walk to dinner. Friendly and helpful Staff. Not on a busy highway. Quiet nights.

Toilet didn't work, 2 different problems for 2 different nights; room clean, breakfast good; manager wasn't helpful; error in bill (overcharged); not the first time I've had a problem---they threw away my paperback and food one time.

I stay in Lots of hotels and have for years, but Alderwood Mall Best western is 5 star PLUS; for cleanliness, location, and comfort...and most of all. THis hotel has the BEST Staff and the most helpful people. I stay there as much as i can and will even travel to Federal way from here rather than stay at another Best western. Have tried lots and this one is the BEST

The room was clean and updated, breakfast was adequate, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we would have gotten a great night's sleep had it not been for the noise that started around 3am with some patrons getting an early start. Our room was right off the elevator. we would stay there again but next time, we will bring ear plugs.

This hotel was convenient to the location we needed to go the next day. Room was very clean. Breakfast was nice, hot and plenty. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Negative was the vending machine on our floor. You need to have coins ready and can not use a card. For a person using a wheelchair acceptable, but not very compftable.

I had forgotten that I stayed at this property several years ago. There have been some nice improvements since i was last there. The service was improved quite a lot. Check-in was smooth and easy. Our room was nice and facing the rear of the building. There was no notable road noise from there. The beds and the room were clean and comfortable. The rooms were not very insulated. There was excessive noise from the people staying above us. In fact, near midnight they were so noisy that they woke up all three of us. As it persisted for 20 minutes, I called the front desk who quieted them immediately. The breakfast area was busy on a Saturday morning but the food was still hot and plentiful. The little details like garnish for waffles and good qualify pastries made it an improvement over other locations. Overall location cleanliness was not excellent. For example, there were many leaves in the elevator when we arrived at 4:00 on Friday and they were still there when we let at 10:00 on Saturday morning. There were other very small messes throughout the building as well.

I recently had to attend a "Photo Exposition" at the Lynnwood Convention Center...I selected the Alderwood Best Western simply because it was the closest (just across the parking lot) hotel to the convention center. Front desk people were cheerful, friendly, willing to share jokes and VERY accommodating. One morning, I reported my TV was malfunctioning...the lady at the desk was very apologetic and was concerned that the maintenance man would come to the room to replace it at a time that was most convenient to me. It was already replaced when I came back to the room during a break in convention center activity The room was super clean, none of the furnishings appeared worn. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board were all in place. The "black-out" drapes kept the room very dark, even in mid-day. Complimentary morning newspaper went nicely with the free breakfast which offered a wide variety of fruit, pastry, waffles, scrambled eggs, cold 'n hot cereal, bacon or sausage, juice, milk and Seattle's Best Coffee. I saw folks using a nicely equipped gym/work-out room. Any outdoor hot-tub was steaming in the 37° weather and the swimming pool (closed for the winter) would be inviting in warmer months. I found it a treat to enjoy many black and white photographs of the Seattle area lining the walls of all the public areas, (halls, corridors, lobby, etc.) as well in the room since my reason for being there just happened to be the Photo Expo at the next-door Convention Center. When I have reason to "overnite" in the "North-of-Seattle" area, my home-away-from will definitely be Best Western Alderwood.

This hotel was convieniently located to everything we wanted to do. The bed was so relaxing. The employees went above and beyond. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and coffee was available throughout the day. I will definitely stay at a Best Western in the future.

I would highly reccomend this hotel! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and housekeeping was phenomenal. I also really appreciated the gym facility as I like to stay on my routine. Will absolutely stay again if I'm ever in Seattle!!

A little pricey for the area, but nice room and friendly staff. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but was suitable. A lot of shopping, restaurants and things to do within walking distance. We happened to be there on a sunny weekend and it was delightful to be able to go to everything on foot.

Great value and location. Breakfast was good and rooms were good. The bathroom door in our room was not hung properly and swung close. The bathroom was very small, so felt a bit cramped. We could clearly hear the people above our room walking, so some sound proofing on the floors would be good.

Very nice hotel near the Lynnwood Convention Center. Nice rooms. Loved the fact that they have a small frig and microwave in each room. Hair dryer was better than most hotels. Nice breakfast; quick and good selection.

Everything was as it should be. Staff was great very friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The food was great. I am planning a trip this spring and if I am in or around Alderwood/ Lynnwood area I will stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15+ years. The main reason we stay here is the available King Jacuzzi Room, which has a large, jetted soaking tub in the room. We use it 3-4 times over a weekend. So relaxing. As for the rest of the hotel, it is very good, but not excellent. Mostly clean, yummy breakfast included with the popular waffle makers (but crowded eating area), very good staff and easy check-in/check-out. They do have a heated pool, but it is outdoor so we didn't use it. We'll be back.

The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, pleasant and well maintained. The bed was excellent.I enjoyed the free breakfast. I highly recommend this Best Western. I stay there on every trip to Washington because I can count on the quality of services and accomodations

We have been staying at this hotel on and off for over 20 years. It has an amazing breakfast, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's close to a lot of great restaurants. Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc. It's about 5 mins drive to the Alderwood Mall. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

It's a bit dated but it seems have been renovated recently and where it really counts. The lobby, dining area, and rooms are clean and in working order. Towels are nice and clean. Only toiletries provided were a small soap bar and lotion. I was surprised by that. Coffee in room was really good -But- there was no sugar or creamer. The pool and hot tub area look very well kept but I did not use them. Internet was fast enough to stream HD shows.

We've stayed here many times over the years when visiting family. This time, though...it was a deal breaker. The room smelled funky, which made our clothes smell funky. The carpet was stained. The bathroom door casings were cracked and peeling. And...there were silverfish in the bathroom that came out a few times. We killed them. More came out. Gross. The continental breakfast used to be pretty good, but this time - barely passable. Sorry, but we're done with this location.

This hotel is average. Rooms are neat and clean but the décor and rooms need to be updated. Sound travels through the walls and floors. Water temperature was warm. Mattresses are not of the new BW standard.

We have been staying in Washington for quite a few trips in the past and the hotel we usually stayed in was torn down so we tried this new location to us. This was a great hotel and location as we frequent Alderwood Mall and Everett Mall and now this location is also close to North Gate Mall in Seattle so now we plan to stay at this hotel on future trips. Staff was very helpful and polite and room was clean and no problems at all.

This was an excellent hotel in a good location for our travel needs. Clean, professional and helpful staff, good internet and all around nice place to spend the night. I even used the exercise room and it was very nice.

We booked BW Alderwood a few months ahead and got a pretty good price for two nights. I have to admit, I'm liking BW chains more than the other brands since the points don't expire. Plus, we've been quite happy with 2 other BW locations so far and this being our third one. On this trip, a number of friends stayed at the same place for a short weekend getaway with kids. It's close to Alderwood mall and most of the big box retailers. And a 20 minute drive to Woodland Park Zoo and other kid-friendly attractions. The night we checked in, the front desk had two people working and both of them are quite nice. They checked us in pretty quick, and we were off to our rooms. The free hot breakfast is quite nice and convenient especially with kids. Rooms were pretty clean. The staff we encountered were quite nice and helpful. The gym is quite small. They only had a couple of machines so we didn't bother with that. Wi-Fi connection and speed is decent. The outside pool is also small but the kids enjoyed it on the last day. We were quite satisfied with our stay so we'll definitely consider BW Alderwood again in the future.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly too! The location is convenient and there is a mall nearby.

Stayed here for years. Well kept, great location, nice staff. Breakfast is varied, fresh and served in a pleasant room. The location is handy to the entire north puget sound and quick access to the east side. Great value.

We stayed one night on our way to a family wedding. The staff was great! I called to notify them of our late arrival and found them to be very professional over the phone, as well as in person at the desk. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only issues were that our showerhead did not spray well, and I noticed the walls are thin. We could hear water running and voices, but were fortunate that there were no loud guests that night so it was okay. I would imagine it could be a problem if that weren't the case. Breakfast was one of the best we've seen with many choices that were quite satisfying. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends.

I stayed at the Lynwood, Wash. Best Western for my High school reunion and it worked out perfect. Close to reunion and good sleep and breakfast. Everyone was helpful in giving me directions when I needed them.

We used to stay downtown Seattle all of the time, but it has now gotten so expensive we don't stay there anymore. This is a great alternative. It is just a 20 minute drive to downtown and is located right off of the freeway and just a few blocks form the mall with it's great restaurants. At this Best Western you get a free breakfast and free parking. At the Best Western downtown you don't get breakfast and you pay for parking, plus the rooms are around $100 more. This place was quiet, the rooms were clean and in good repair. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.This will be our new "go to place" to stay when we are in Seattle for anything.

I've stayed at this BW many times and am such a huge fan. It's has the best location as it's so close to the Alderwood Mall and Parkway. It's also close to several great restaurants. The staff are always friendly and were so helpful last week when we wanted to extend our stay another night. The rooms are newly renovated and are clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is so delicious and offers a good variety. I really appreciate that they always have coffee and hot water for tea available for guests throughout the day. Hands down my favourite hotel in the area!

This hotel is very well maintained, the staff are excellent & overall a great value for the dollar!! We choose this hotel whenever we are in the Seattle area. It is situated in a convenient area and easy to get around.

We've stayed at this hotel for quite a few years now, and decided it was time for a quick getaway before the end of summer. We stayed 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised at the new decor with brand new bed and furniture. The bed had memory foam and was a delight. The sink was new, and huge. I enjoy taking baths but there was only a shower. But it was huge and new also, so that wasn't a problem. If you stay in room #196 it's very quiet with morning sun only, so nice and shady in the afternoons, but you'll smell burning toast each morning as the breakfast nook is just down the hall a few steps! Tee hee...this was our only problem. We'll be back!

Excellent hotel, exceeded my expectations. I don't normally stay at Best Westerns, but was impressed with this one. Quality furnishings in the room, friendly and helpful staff and a pretty good breakfast. Will stay there again if in Olympia.

Although not a luxurious hotel, everything about this hotel was very well done. Hot breakfast was tasty with good choices. Room was clean with comfortable bed. It was nice having a refrigerator and microwave free with every room. Not to mention having free wireless Internet. Staff were all courteous and helpful. All in all, a great experience for a reasonable rate.

This is a nice facility north of Seattle. Enjoyed our stay and the value and quality expected of Best Western. Found using Hwy 99 to get in and out of downtown Seattle a wonderful option to avoid the traffic on Hwy 5 as we visited the city each day. Lynnwood is a very nice suburb and the Best Western was a nice reflection of that.

Good value stay in an area close to the freeway and all amenities. We attended a wedding, a concert and a day trip of downtown Seattle. The staff were very helpful and it was about a $20 Uber ride to downtown.

Our stay at Best Western of Alderwood, Washington was great! We stay at this Best Western before our cruise. The location was great. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had 16 people with us and everyone was happy with the choice of hotel we made. The breakfast in the morning was good and the servers were very helpful.

Was a good place to stay after a long drive from Los Angeles. The room was quiet comfortable and restful. Everything worked well. What more can one say about a place to stay which is not a resort. All the parameters were ticked for a comfortable stay as expected.

Walking distance to popular restaurants, Oliver Garden, Red Lobster and several local establishments, about 40 minute drive to Space Needle, $30 for Uber. Breakfast was typical free breakfast, small pool and hot tub area.

Nice motel and staff. Quietly located. I have stayed at this motel 3 times in 5 years and will stay again. Starbucks and IHOP close by. I do not recommend the Dennys down the street. We did not use the motel breakfast this time, but in the past it was awesome.

Nasty toilet overflowed, with minimal clean up by hotel- they refused to relocate us, and then had the audacity to deliver a tub of disinfectant wipes, and then run off saying cleanup duties were "not my job" I was forced to clean up- which then caused me to become violently ill, and then was unable to return home, and had to spend hundreds of dollars to reschedule everything-

I stay at a lot of Best Western's throughout the northwest. This one was a little below average when it came to maintenance and upkeep of the room. The AC unit definitely needed repair due to loud vibration coming from the unit in the bedroom. I was not able to run the unit at night while I slept. The water pressure was very low in the showers and due to the fact of the water being lukewarm it was kind of hard to rinse the soap off. I also noticed a lot of hair in the room that was not mine.

The hotel is well maintained, Rooms huge which was a nice surprise. Breakfast great options and well stocked. I was impressed that people were not rushed out when it was over. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly and efficient.

This hotel was a great place to stay near Seattle with close access to the highway. The price is less expensive than staying in the downtown area of Seattle. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again if ever come back to Seattle.

Stayed at this hotel for an affordable option to staying in Seattle. It was only a 23 minute drive to the needle and another 7 to Safeco Field. Overall our stay was very good. The pool was smaller than I realized, but that was fine. There were some spiders along the first floor, I found 4 large common housespiders, and that was uncomfortable for me. Other than that, the second floor I stayed on was clean and our room was clean.

Front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The queen room was clean and provided adequate room for myself and my 14YO grandson. Breakfast was good. Waffles, granola, dried and fresh fruits, yogurts, sausage and bacon alternate each morning, assortment of breads and pastries, coffee and tea. The one downside to breakfast was the scrambled eggs. I think they were made from some kind of mix. Strange consistency. The pool is ok. It is not very big. Thank goodness there were never a lot of people using it while we were there even though one night the hotel was completely full. Hotel has a lot of restaurants nearby and is close to Alderwood Mall. This BW was the best value I could find it the area that had free parking, free WiFi, breakfast, pool and jacuzzi and a workout room. Did go to Denny's on the sixth and last morning here.

I always love to stay at best western hotel and recommend it to my family and friends. The staff is always polite and fast. It is also nice that there is always breakfast and parking included in the reservation.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. Arrived late in the evening only to be greeted by two very cheerful staff who checked me in quickly, I had a spacious room with two queen beds. Very clean. Others posted an issue with water pressure but I found it more than adequate. The shower heads are water efficient so I applaud the hotel for being a steward of natural resources. Easy freeway access. Would be good for families traveling because there is a pool and staff here are very professional.

Staying in Seattle seems to be expensive and I don't know if it's because we book a day before we get into a town because we have no set plan where we are travelling too. So the cheaper rooms are taken, and we have to take what's left. Who knows? We are staying in a suburb called Lynnwood about 16miles from Seattle. This was still expensive @$279AUS a night but everyplace we looked at was more than this once converted. The hotel is pretty good and clean. We have a jacuzzi room with a king bed. Plenty of room to move around. There is a desk and chair with a chest of drawers and cupboard that hides the microwave and fridge.The jacuzzi is realistically only for one person and there is no bubble bath. We sat one at each end and still enjoyed it but it is very noisy and when other people use theirs in their room you can hear the sound of the motor running. They say not to use it after 10pm it's now 10:30 and someone is using it. The vanity basin is along the wall just inside the front door and the bathroom is a small room with a toilet and finally a shower you don't have to climb over a bath to get in. The shower rose is small and it takes a a lot of rinsing to get the shampoo out of your hair. The AC works well and cools the room comfortably. The alcove to store suitcase is only big enough for a small bag so you have to find somewhere on the floor against a wall, out of the way so you don't trip over it. Breakfast has cereal, eggs and bacon, bagels, toast and muffins, yogurt, make your own pancakes and juice. Plenty of free parking and within a 10min walk Olive Garden, IHOP, red lobster, Mexican food and others I don't remember.

The Hotel has a very nice staff and clean rooms. With that said, a few draw backs. If you like a nice powerful shower, dont go here, as you will not get it. The shower heads or pressure are so bad that you can have a watering can give you more pressure. The TV available is not great and has no guide to let you know whats playing. The last thing would be the interent. Its not fast by any means. If those are non issues for you, then this is a very nice hotel

This was a very nice hotel. Rooms were good sized and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and the price was ok. Good location, just around the corner from the Alderwood Mall, the biggest in WA.

We were at the Best Western Alderwood for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, especially Antony. The breakfast each morning has a great variety; something for everybody. BTW the coffee was outstanding. The I-5 freeway access is just minutes away, plus there is a large mall nearby and plenty of good restaurants. Comparing the price per night in this hotel and those in Seattle is a no brainer. Seattle is just a short drive South of the hotel and parking was very easy to find. Would definitely stay at the Alderwood Best Western again.

it was clean and the usual items were served at breakfast. didn't Wow me but didn't have any glaring issues either. The layout of the hotel was confusing. The pool very small. The staff seemed to be helpful and friendly. Wish there was more info in the room showing places to order food, places close to eat. really no info in the room about those types of things.

Room was clean and well stocked. Check in staff super friendly. Breakfast buffet was well stocked on ok. The only issue was there was construction in the parking lot which make for a bit more noise and fewer parking spaces.

The hotel staff is excellent & the breakfast is awesome. ots of options for breakfast in a great enviroment. Pool and hot tub are great as well. Cleans towls readily available for the pool.Front desk staff are awesome

We've begun staying here on nights before boarding our cruise ship at Pier 91 because it's an easy drive to the pier and parking lot. Check-in and check-out process has been painless. Price was quite affordable. Room was impeccably clean. Easy on/off to I-5. Quiet. Breakfast had many choices and what we chose was tasty. Plan to continue using this as out "staging" area when we cruise out of Seattle.

Very comfy and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful and friendly. Being a breakfast person, I really appreciated the wonderful choices. Eggs, bacon, sausage,muffins,bagels, fresh fruit, cereal,delicious coffee and juices. All refilled promptly. The area has lots of nice landscaping, too.

enjoyed our stay, especially after we got moved to another room without so much noise above us. The breakfast was very nice. We however have been in too many hotels lately and we did get tired of the same old breakfast with one day bacon and one day sausage. The bakery items were outstanding though

We spent eight nights there, visiting family in and around Seattle. Frankly, it was the price that attracted us, because Seattle hotels are not cheap. The staff was generally friendly and helpful, but they are working with a few disadvantages. 1) The key cards. I can't tell you how many times ours became useless. We went to the front desk to have them re- magnetized or activated or whatever it is they do AT LEAST once a day, if not more. Several staff said it was our fault, for either using them wrong (!) or letting them get too close to our cell phones. The more honest employees admitted that it was the hotel's problem, and that new card readers needed to be installed. Whatever the cause, avoid this hotel for that reason alone. It was VERY frustrating. We stay at hotels all over, and have never had this problem. 2) A/C, refrigerators, etc. When we arrived, we got our room, and I went out and got some groceries. When I tried to refrigerate them, I discovered the fridge (and microwave) did not have electricity. A helpful clerk tried to fix the problem, but it was not to be. We had to move to another room. The next room's A/C unit sounded like a large truck starting up when the compressor kicked in. 3) The parking lot. Sounds odd, but as long as we were there, a contractor was working on maintaining the parking lot, until quite late in the night, actually. It was quite noisy. I would imagine the owner of the hotel was looking to get by on the cheap, because if they wanted to get it done, they would have hired someone with a larger crew who could have gotten it done during normal working hours. It was annoying, to say the least. The location was convenient for I-5 access, the breakfasts were okay, although over eight days you begin to realize there is zero variety from day to day. There is a small outdoor pool, which is a bit useless in Seattle. One of the washers was broken and never fixed during our stay. Best Western hotels are all franchises, independently owned, and you never k ow what you are getting until you get there. In this case, we found a hotel whose owner hasn't spent what it takes to improve, much less properly maintain their property. One night at this place would be just fine, but I would not recommend it for longer than that.

Room, bed, and breakfast were all good. The chocolate and cream cheese muffins, and the carrot cake muffins were both delicious. Would've liked some berries to go with the waffles. We always seem to get a room without a do not disturb sign, which is annoying. You'd think there would be one in every room.

I dont typically stay at this Hotel, as my usual location(s) were sold out. It turned out to be a very nice, typical BW, and i would stay there again, given the circumstances. Clean and comfortable for the value.

Very pricey for the age and condition of the motel. Beds very, very firm. Breakfast mediocre at best. Noisy and close to major roads. Maintenance crew was working with dump truck and front end loader at 9 to 10 pm on a Saturday night in the parking lot.

Stayed here for 5 nights for family reunion. Welcomed warmly at front desk after traveling from east coast. Room was small but very clean and had been refurbished. Bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee in the room and Hot Breakfast was included and with a great selection every day. And breakfast room had glass bump out so felt open and airy. Outdoor pool and nice seating area. Reasonably priced. Convenient to the mall and edmunds ferry and the water activities. Would definitely stay here next time we visit. If you have trouble walking, ask for room close to front desk.

This Hotel is nice and the rooms and beds are comfortable. This is our second stay at this location. Easy access to and from the freeways. Restaurants and shopping are close. Will probably stay here again.

The hotel was great as usual, food, room cleanliness, etc. But the price increase over the usual rate due to the Blue Jays being in town was excessive. There was an over 50% increase in the cost and the Canadian dollar was down as well so the overall increase was almost double what we spent last year. Friends that have coming with us for almost twenty years of Safeco baseball weekends decided it was too expensive to come.

It is with heavy heart that I write this, Our recent stay was less than ideal. On the first night of our visit we were put into a handicapped room where the shower was coming of the wall. The next morning we were upgraded to the Jacuzzi room, and I must say the young lady was quite pleasant and helpful. We were quite excited to come back from a long day to a nice soak, however, the noise level of other guests prevented this. We attempted to just get a good night sleep but the noise continued. After calling the front desk several times (after midnight) the noise of our stay was unbearable. We were unable to sleep at all. Making our visit to our Grandchildren less than an eventful one. We complained the following morning and were told that we would not have the same problem the following night.... unfortunately this was not the case. Rather than the noise above us all night it was beside us. The front desk gentle man (African American) was quit unprofessional. I am sorry I wish I could give his name however, he was not wearing a name tag. I am sure that you can see we have stayed their before with no issues. But as I am sure you are aware one bad experience can sour the barrel. I do hope I received my points... I hope that you will retrain and fix this issue at this particular site. Every area was clean and inviting, the room, the pool,and the breakfast room.Plenty of room to park the car. When visiting Seattle again, this is where I will be staying,a convenient and safe location

Freeway access was good, parking was good, room was okay. Little noise from the stairway door but not bad. Typical BW food, breakfast area was clean and nice. The staff were very attentive. We will stay here again.

Good location away from the main roads. We had a suite with a comfortable king size bed which was clean and presentable. A bit of a kitchen / microwave and fridge. A short drive to the Alderwood mall with restaurants at the mall and plenty on the way. Breakfast is included in the room rates which is always tasty. The Waffles are nice for breakfast

While I wouldn't call the hotel luxurious, I would certainly call it quite comfortable and pleasant. We had extended family all staying there, and each of us remarked on how well we slept. For the money, it was a good value!

The Best Western is one of my favorite hotels. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable rooms , rate was good. Breakfast was good. The hotel is right off the I-5 area, easy to travel. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficiently in a check in scene .I will visit again and recommend it to a friend. Thanks.

We just stayed over one night at BW, and the room was clean - but a bit warm when we first got in. We had to turn on the air con and after coming back from dinner the room had cooled down. It's late May so it's not so bad, not sure how hot it would get in summer though. I did talk to the staff and they said just let them know if we need to switch rooms. The breakfast buffet is the best I've seen - eggs, bacon, and you can make waffles right there - they even have the sugarless syrup! Fruit, yogurt, you name it. It's awesome!! The only thing I could complain a bit was the coffee...it was very tasteless...other than that, it was a great experience.

Because of the frequency of our stays at Best Western Lynnwood, it is "Home away from Home". We Thoroughly enjoyed our last visit. My wife and I monthly visit the Best Western in Lynnwood. It is our substitute for a short holiday in Hawaii or Palm Desert.

This is a great hotel, recently remodeled, great location, friendly staff, clean, comfy beds! Plenty of free parking, close to tons of shopping. Always my favorite hotel to stay at when visiting the area.

This hotel is nothing special but they don't disappoint either. Reception staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms are always clean and on the couple of occasions that something wasn't quite right it was fixed immediately. The hotel is showing its years though and it's time for some freshening up. Hallways and carpets are showing wear and tear. Missed the breakfast because I slept in but it's usually reliable if nothing fancy. Will stay here again in the future. Often has very good pricing compared to the nearby competition.

My friend and I have been coming to the BW Lynwood for many years for our Mother's Day weekend, the hotel is in a very convenient location for the stores and restaurants that we enjoy. We will continue to stay here as long as the price and service meets our needs

Nice stay for an older hotel. Good parking for an oversized truck. Freeway friendly location. Freeway noise a bit of an issue. Room décor is Spartan. TVs are small. Hallways are a maze and difficult to navigate.

We had a very comfortable and accommodating stay at this Best Western hotel. The staff was very professional, the property was well kept and the location was excellent for all the attractions in and around the Seattle area.

Nice place. Front desk workers were very nice. Room was great. Breakfast was very well stocked, not to fancy, just a step up from a continental, but very adequate. My daughter loved it because they had donuts! I would definitely stay here again anytime.

I had to unplug a clock to plug in my CPAP machine and this is what was behind the nightstand. (See photo). I also called ahead so they would set aside a room with no air freshener and that didn't happen. My room was full of chemicals to cover up the must. Everything is SUPER OLD and worn out...time to update people! The breakfast was decent though.

The refrigerator was very small with no freezer and the door wouldn't stay shut. The tv acted like a Very older one with snow and very poor reception with only a handful of Chanel's. Which most were bad reception. Internet was slow or would t work at times.

It was nice to stop here after a long days drive. It is not quit in Seattle, so I was able to avoid rush hour traffic. The hotel was very easy to find, close to the freeway, but far enough that there was no traffic noise. Upon arrival my room was upgraded.

Great location to everything Lynnwood offers. Good value for your money. Hot breakfast (tea,coffee,eggs,sausage,bacon,waffles) & cold breakfast (fresh fruit,yogurt,cereals,granola,juices) offered. Beds were comfy. (freshfruit,yogurt,cereal,granola,muffins,donuts,offered. Staff friendly & helpful.

Nice room to relax during one day NA event. GF and I both appreciated having some privacy and a peaceful setting to relax during a busy and chaotic all day event. It was close to out venue and worked well for our purposes.

Check in was fast and the staff was very friendly. The room we stayed in was a studio king that we had booked online. The room was decently clean. The only issues that I saw was that the comforter had booger stains left which means it wasn't changed. The desk wasn't wiped down at all, there was mold on the curtain, but the other things I'm not listing were forgivable. We went out for the night and got back around 1:00am. We were able to get into the hotel with our cards but when we got to our room we couldn't get in with either of our cards. So I assumed they got demagnitized. We made our way to front desk and told him the room number we were in and when he went to check the system we weren't in there. Earlier that day when we checked in we parked near the back so the front desk lady moved us to a different room than where she originally had us which was great but she failed to put it in the system! So the night front desk guy had no idea because it was showing our room vacant. So he had to escort us to our room before he gave us our keys. He let us in and I forgave it. The biggest issue I have really is that we went to check out and were still asked what room number we were in because even the night front desk guy didn't change it! The stay was great though besides all that. Breakfast was awesome and the room was quiet and nicely decorated.

Stayed for a couple of nights to get started on Christmas shopping in the area. The hotel was clean, room was spacious and had all amenities we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, the cold items were good but the hot items could have been better quality.

We have spent several restful weekends in this Best Western as our mini vacation getaway spot. Besides being convenient to the Alderwood Mall and other Lynwood shopping malls, the hotel is itself comfortable and quite affordable. Amenities include very good complementary breakfast every day and the deepest tubs we've ever seen (except those in the rooms in the Best Western in Edmonds), in which we have enjoyed lolling together (if you get my drift). The staff is very friendly and always ready to help, day or night.

We stayed here one night before wrapping up our Seattle trip. The room was large, but felt a little dated, and the bathroom area had a strange, smoky smell which may have been coming from the vents. Also, I recommend getting a room away from the road as I could hear even passenger cars drive by from our 4th floor room. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but I would not go out of my way to stay here.

While our room was comfortable , what I was really looking forward to was enjoying the hot tub. I was assured when we checked in that it was open, but after a long hike around Meadowdale Beach , I wanted a relaxing sit in the hot tub. So that was quite the let down. I specifically researched hotels with hot tubs and pools before making my decision. So I felt like I didn't quite get what I paid for. Breakfast was satisfactory. I'm not a big breakfast person anyway , but I really enjoyed the bananas and the raspberry loaf that was onnthe buffet. Location is fantastic. Slide to Alderwood mall. Lots of restaurants around the area. Overall on OK stay.

Location is very convenient to all amenities. Staff is excellent and breakfast is great. Check in and Check out service is fast and efficient. In summer time the pool area is clean and well maintained.

I recently utilized Best Western's program where they will match your loyalty status at another hotel chain. I am typically a Hilton hotel brands traveler and have earned upgraded status there. However I haven't been able to get very good rates recently with them compared to the past so I started looking at other brands for this conference visit. Best Western had good rates and I saw that they will match loyalty levels so I gave it a try. The form was easy to fill out and submit - less than 24 hours later I was a Gold member with Best Western. I booked my reservation on the spot. I arrived in the evening on my first day and was told I was upgraded to a suite. Front desk was efficient and friendly. I went up to my room (#311) and was surprised at how roomy and bright it was. Nice furnishings. The first room you entered had a full bath with a separate vanity area, a sitting area with TV / Desk / Microwave and fridge. The second area (no door separation so not a separate room really) had a bed, bench, TV & Dresser, and and closet. The bedroom area also had a full bath with separate vanity as well. It was a really nice surprise. I slept very well - nice comfortable bed and quiet hotel overall. Breakfast was included and had hot items as well as cereals and waffles. Nice coffee bar area too. Checkout was a breeze and I was sad to leave my nice big room! Best Western may have gotten a new loyal customer! Already have visited another since this stay.

This Best Western Location , was very Quiet and Clean. Easy Access to the Freeway, Stores and Restaurants. The Staff was very polite and helpful. I will be staying at this location again for 5 more nights and I am looking forward to it..

Stopped by here for a night while driving from Portland to Vancouver and was greeted by a friendly staff at the counter. Rooms are pretty spacious and clean, parking is free and breakfast is provided. So no complains for me at all! Restaurants across the road also made it convenient for meals.

It's be renovated so very nice. Beds were comfy. Breakfast on weekend was sufficient-waffles, eggs, sausages, breads, cereals, fruit, yougurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc...very convenient location close to restaurants, shopping and highway. Friendly staff. We had no issues.

This location has always extended great hospitality. Very accomadating to its guests. Wish it had an indoor pool and spa for year around use. Liked the way the full remodel turn out and the showers instead of bathtubs.

The location is noisy if you happen to get a room on the street side. The staff were clueless of the amenities of the hotel and what was offered in the various rooms. The gal at front desk, tried to tell my in-laws that there was not a tub/shower combo anywhere in the hotel. That's odd, that is what our room had. The breakfast for the most part was pretty good, except the eggs were really watery and gross. The rooms were clean. Would probably not choose this particular hotel again.

The hotel is clean, comfortable & quiet. Helpful staff. Short drive to good restaurants & very good shopping. Close to freeway. Easy access to freeway. We've stayed & other hotels in the area. All are equal, however, this is the easiest access to the freeway.

Woke up to employees yelling in lobby at 1am, bed so hard I might as well have just slept on the floor, plasma tv had so many burnt images you couldn't even watch it - and not a single staff member asked how my stay was - and breakfast was disgusting

Spontaneous trip and booked this hotel for its price and location. Very impressed by the cleanliness of the room, good wifi, and nice breakfast. I liked the selection and quality. The make your own fresh waffles were a good touch. Definitely will stay here again on another short trip. Staff were also very courteous.

Very clean rooms, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not much room for big truck parking but they were helpful and got me in. And for those of you who get up and go early before breakfast they make a bag with some goodies in it to help get day started.

My car broke down in the Cascades and we limped into the nearest dealer. The team at Best Western Alderwood was caring and understanding. They were able to accommodate my fluctuating needs with equanimity. Great experience. The location was also good for walking (for someone without a vehicle).

My husband and I stayed here so he could run the Seattle Spartan race in Snohomish. Great location, close enough to the city, but far enough to be away from the hustle. We arrived about an hour before check-in, and so our room wasn't ready. The staff was super friendly and was so great --they hurried and prepared a room for us while we hung out in the lobby. (Which I was incredibly grateful for since I am 8 months pregnant). They were also very accommodating and brought me an extra blanket that night when I asked! I LOVED the breakfast--like I said, I'm 8 months pregnant, so the waffles and hot chocolate hit the spot! Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, toast as well. Great selection. Overall, incredibly impressed with what we got for the price. Thanks for the great stay!! When we come back to the Seattle area we will stay here again!

This hotel is conveniently located close to Alderwood Mall and other shopping outlets. We have stayed there many times before and we would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay for good shopping without the hassles of being in downtown Seattle. We always are able to park our vehicle close to the entrance and we feel as though it is safe. On our latest visit it was nice to see the great Halloween decorations adorning the lobby and restaurant. The breakfast was good and as always the staff were pleasant and accommodating.

We visit the area about once a month and we would not choose any other accommodation. This suits all our needs and has very professional, attentive staff. We love the extra touches for the holidays in the the decor!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The team members do anything in their power to make you stay the best experience you can imagine! Can not say enough about this team. Love everyone of them! It's like home!

There's nothing too exciting to report about this hotel. It's conveniently located off the interstate, which is nice. The breakfast wasn't bad, pretty normal. The room was fine. Again, nothing too exciting. This is a fine place to stay, not a bad price and good quality for your money.

We had a twofold reason to stay near Seattle. Downtown prices were very high. The comparative price for BW Alderwood was most favorable. We were attending our granddaughter's engagement party in Shoreline, and we also wished to escape the predicted wind storm approaching as our home is surrounded by tall trees. Our son was with us so we booked two rooms. The rooms were nice, the staff was outstanding, the breakfast was good and the overall experience was excellent

Great hotel to stay at - clean and updated and very central to shopping and the highway. We always choose this Best Western for our trip to Lynnwood and recommend it for friends, couples and families wishing for a comfortable, inexpensive and pleasant stay.

We started out in a hotel downtown where the room was postage-stamp size. Moved to this Best Western and there was much more room, comfortable, average hotel room. Location was good - easy access to shopping and major highways.

I was expecting a nicer room and hotel for a Best Western. The room smelled like smoke. Like it had once been a smoking room, been cleaned, but the odor still remains in the carpet and drapes. Small TV, and bare essentials. It was not cheap and I will not hurry back to any Best Western. The morning free breakfast though was very good.

Closest Best Western to Kenmore where our son lives. While staying there we shopped at the mall, Radio Shack and Office Max. Everything is very close. The breakfast, room and pool were all nice and clean. We will come back.

The room is clean, with a bit of smoke smell in the room. Window doesn't seems to be lockable. My room is right beside elevator, so is a bit noise. Close to highway and shopping. Breakfast is pretty good.

The Best Western Alderwood is an excellent option for a hotel close enough to downtown Seattle to make access easy, but far enough to make the price affordable. The amenities were nice, the room well appointed and the beds adequately comfortable (the only downside is the plastic mattress covers that crinkle if you roll over in the night). The breakfast is fabulous and the internet is very good. When staying here allow for increased travel times into the city during rush hour. I-5 travel can be a mess.

I ran a half marathon with family in Carnation and stayed here because I have stayed here before and like the location and the staff. Their breakfast is not bad either. Rooms clean and neat and I like the firm mattress but next time I will bring my own pillow.

Good place to stay at, near everything in walking distance. With staff that cares for the guests, and with all the amenities you need for your everyday life to be normal. Recommended for all kinds of traveling.

After a change in circumstances and plans, we needed to find a new hotel to stay for a conference at 9pm the night of arrival. Ivonn at the front desk did a great job accommodating us last minute. She was able to help me with my Best Western Rewards account and helped iron out some details. You will find this to be a great, clean room with comfortable bed. The outdoor spa was closed--we didn't care but you might. The Lynnwood conference center is next door. They had a comprehensive breakfast that many people seemed to enjoy. If you have food allergies, the breakfast may not work for you. All around great experience and I would recommend staying here.

My husband and I spent 2 nights last week; the room was really nice and clean, the breakfast was really good with many options (scramble eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, fruit salad, yogurt, etc) and the staff was nice. Next time we visit this area will stay here.

The room was quiet, with a (broken) jacuzzi that I did not request, but tried to use anyway. Internet was giving me about 1.2Mb/s (i.e., sloooow). Breakfast was overcrowded and the scrambled eggs were drowning, but everything else was fine.

Front desk staff was not helpful. I called three times and was put on hold for at least 5 minutes each time I called. When I did finally get through I was told that I would be given certain information that was crucial for check in and I never received that information.

Had to stop for the night after driving from Butte MT. My cat and I were moving from Arkansas to Bellingham and this was our last hotel for the whole 4 day trip. Overall the place is nice, and clean as many of the Best Westerns are. When I checked in I was surprised that they didn't allow pets, as the other BWs I stayed at on this trip didn't have this policy. Its not a deal-breaker, and certainly doesn't mar the quality of the hotel, but I did have an anxious night as my cat had to sleep in the car. I had provided every comfort I could for her, and the gentleman at check in was very nice in making sure my room was close enough to the door so I could easily check on her, but it still was a bit concerning. Still, the breakfast is good, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are great! If you don't have a pet, you can be sure of a good stay.

Business trip. After a 12 hours flight I thought it was a joke... I was wrong... first, my latina friend at front desk said "I am sorry, I know you have a reservation but I do not have your room, everything is sold out"... After struggling she said "well, I do have a room, but this is only for emergency cases"... what is an emergency then? why cannot you give me that room?... "I cannot give you that room because what if somebody else come in the middle of the night asking for a room, I would not have a room because you would be in there"... Really? Finally I had to share my "emergency" room with my peer in a business trip... that was really really awkward... I will appear at American Horror Story... :(

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and needed a good place to stay again this year. Why look for something else when you know the place is good. So I booked this hotel again, but this year 2 rooms because our party was bigger. For one room we got an upgrade for one of the rooms and got a jacuzzi in our room. Wow.... awesome The hot-tub can't be used after 10 p.m. of course, no problem. But the second night we got a phone-cal from the frontdesk because we were jumping? Weird, so next morning we asked at the frontdesk what the problem was. There was nothing mentioned and they didn't know or could find anything. Probably guest in another room pretetend to be the frontdesk. My advice to everybody, ask the frontdesk when this happens to you. All I can say more, great stay at a great hotel.

We've stayed here three times . It was nice the first two times, this time the room was in a convoluted hallway. Didn't care for it so much. Not bad overall tho. Mostly best Western hotels are great. The attraction Boeings Flight was why we came again.

There were 7 of us using the suite and it was just want I had requested. Rooms and bathrooms clean. The breakfast facilities were large and breakfast good. We stayed here multifple times. The hotel is close to a large mall, theater, and other shops.

My kids and I stayed for one night after going to a Mariners game. The room itself was fine, however we got to sleep late and were looking forward to a nice sleep in the next day. At about 6:30am I was jolted awake by a loud bang that shook the room. The bang continued to happen about every minute or less. I finally got up and looked out the window and realized our room was right above the door that goes out to the pool deck and people eating breakfast were going in and out. The door doesn't have a stopper so it bangs very loudly. This eventually woke up my son, and that is how our day began. We went down for breakfast and I told the front desk, she was sorry and gave me an upgrade coupon for my next stay....ummmm no thank you. We returned to our room and decided to check out early because were were tired of listening to the constant banging. My kids couldn't even watch TV in peace. This is what we got for $234 Canadian!!! The rest of my day was ruined as I was too tired to do anything. Also, the sheets were not on the beds well so they easily untucked and we ended up sleeping on plastic mattress covers. Never again!

This Hotel sucked. I am a long time Best western customer and this was the very worst hotel I have been in in years. Staff was rude, front desk clerk actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked for extra pillows, although they would not had been extra, just what should have been in our room. Room was dirty and uncomfortable. Air conditioner sounded like a freight train.

We had a King-size bed in a suite and more room than needed for two people. Breakfast was very good; eggs, sausage, waffles and more. Staff was excellent, very courteous and most helpful. Located next to Lynnwood Convention Center, shops and restaurants. Very close to Washington State Ferries and to I-405 Freeway. A good choice.

We had a great stay. It is always nice to stay at this Best Western. We love the breakfast with all its variety. the beds were comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hallways can be rather hard to navigate when you first get to the hotel but figured it out by second day. Delelict car on south side of parking lot was there when we stayed in May.

The staff at the hotel is very friendly, and provided exceptional customer service. As far as the facility itself it was disappointing. The pool was very very small, and the hot tub was merely Luke warm. The rooms felt as though they did a minor face lift in attempt to make the rooms appear more updated, but still had a feel of being old and outdated. The breakfast was good. I guess I would have been satisfied if it would have been $120 a night but paying $200 a night I would have expected much higher quality in comparison to the other hotels I've been in.

This hotel is close to shopping areas, restaurants , convention center and freeway. The rooms were clean. The staff was average. The breakfast was average. The parking lot was too small. We would stay here again due to location.

Rooms are clean, spacious and well kept. The staff is friendly, courteous and responsive. Breakfast is standard fare, tends to get crowded at times. Neighborhood offers a good choice of places to eat. Distance wise a little away from downtown.

A good hotel to stay if visiting Seattle. Its about a 15-20 minutes drive away depending on traffic. Full breakfast is included which makes this a great value for families. Hotel property was always clean, and staff very courteous. Will stay here again if visiting Seattle again.

We stayed for 6 nights on an extended vacation - the location off the interstate was excellent. Many restaurants nearby. The room was thoroughly cleaned and "smelled" fresh each day. The breakfast was as good as many Marriott properties I have stayed and (and spent a lot more) - The strong point was the staff, each one over 6 days was excellent - that typically does not happen, training and hiring the right people is a priority and shows! Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Stayed at Best Western Alderwood August 2015 prior to taking a cruise to Alaska. Found it to be one of the better Best Western properties we have stayed at over the years so it was a "no-brainer" to once again book a stay at this property during our trip to Seattle area late July-early August 2016. We were not disappointed with our decision. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Staff is friendly and responsive to guest's needs. Breakfast selection is excellent (though the seating area is somewhat smaller than needed on weekends - outdoor seating is available weather permitting - not a major problem but a minor inconvenience). Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and relatives - plan to stay here agaio on future stays in the Seattle area.

Conveniently located about 20 miles north of Seattle in Lynwood WA. Good freeway access. Near many restaurants and Alderwood Parkway mall. Rooms are very clean with modern decor. Very quiet and comfortable.

This is one of the best places I have stayed at. I really enjoy staying there and the front desk people make you feel so warm and welcome. I really enjoy that as a platinum member they take the time to talk and make you feel so welcome. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.

Check in was OK but when we got to the room, it was not ready. We left our bags in the room and went shopping. When we returned our bags weren't in our room but the room was made up. Maid explained that the Jacuzzi had flooded that room and we needed to go back to the desk to get a room reassignment. In the second room we located our luggage but everything was wet. Air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer all night. The mattress was wrapped in plastic and there was no mattress cover so the fitted sheet kept coming off leaving us to sleep on the plastic. Breakfast was fine. Upon checkout the front desk associate apologized and gave us an upgrade certificate for our next visit at this hotel.

We had been here as a regular customer 10 yrs ago and this time around we decided to revisit this location, we are pleasantly surprised by the updated renovation and also the bright and well appointed room! Now that we know we will be back to stay more as we really enjoy the area with all the shoppings and restaurants! Good job guys!!

Finding a hotel in Seattle in the summer is crazy! And expensive! This freeway close hotel caters to business travelers and is reasonably priced and makes a great jumping off place for the beach town down the road, Edmonds, and the ferries that department from there. We got a top floor room with a 16 foot vaulted ceiling that was quiet, comfy, and suite-like with a kitchen and other amenities. Really good breakfast, too.

The room was pleasant, the breakfast quite good. The employees were pleasant. On the other hand, the shower had no water pressure, the pillows were hard as rocks and getting the luggage print out for the airline impossible since nobody posted that the printer wasn't working. The bright side of that is that the front desk clerk worked very hard to get everything straightened out.

We enjoyed our stay very much and had outstanding service. We are military and were able to have an upgraded room due to that. We greatly appreciated the acknowledgement that is given to the military and will use you for that reason!

The amenities are excellent; the location very good for tourist destinations such as Boeing factory tour and the ferry to Whidbey Island. We returned to Alderwood at the end of our stay in the area because of easy access to I-5 and shopping so close to the hotel. We would come back again for sure.

We have no problems staying at a Best Western - they have all been reliably clean, efficient staff and safe. Complimentary breakfasts have been a nice touch - bonus with free parking. Location is just off the highway and easy access to Alderwood Mall which was a lovely find to shop and have dinner nearby. This BW is no exception - although we did have a jacuzzi tub in the room. Clean, free WiFi, perfectly adequate for a short stay. Coffee maker, desk and chair - comfortable bed. There was an outdoor pool and hot tub but we did not use either. Though exceptionally busy, breakfast items were replenished efficiently. No frills - just Best Western reliability!

Room appeared to be clean and the stay there was quiet even though we had several bus loads of girl soccer players. Lots of small children in the pool and they tracked water EVERYWHERE. Breakfast was plentiful for a free one! Another negative was that the room key kept having to be replaced. The desk clerk told me and at least 6 others that we all most have had our keys next to our phones. Perhaps it was a problem with their system since I know for sure I didn't have mine by my phone (I wasn't carrying one). I'd stay there again if there was nothing better. It is very close to great shopping and restaurants.

Property is typical BW. Nice location on Seattle north end. Good free breakfast. Room somewhat smaller than other BW's I've been to. Upon check-in, I was told my GOLD CROWN membership would not be credited with stay-points because I had booked through EXPEDIA. Was shocked! Later I found out why by discussing with on-duty manager (desk staff did not know). Manager told me I would have gotten about same rate by calling motel directly.

Very Clean Hotel it sparkled and the room was so nice and clean the bed was so nice and comfortable and no noise at night no traffic or loud car and truck noise just quiet staff was so nice we really enjoyed this hotel

Our arrival started with the hotel having our reservation wrong, despite my printed confirmation for 2 Queen Beds, they were showing 1 King. Another person in the lobby seemed to be having similar issues. I'm easy going, so after an explanation that I was traveling with family, they offered us a King Suite with a pull out. I was fine with that as my sole goal was to find a place to sleep for the night. Upon entry into that room we immediately noticed a musty, smokey gross smell. Enough that my whole family pointed it out. We told the staff and they apologized, offering us another room with 1 King and a roller bed. This one had no noticeable smells. This takes me to the overall feel of the Hotel, which I'd give 2 stars. It looked older and felt more dated than other Best Westerns I've visited. Bathrooms looked upgraded with granite, etc, but are small. I would give the staff 4 stars though, as it sounded like the room mess up wasn't they're direct doing and was more caused by management or sales. Maybe not, but they seemed genuinely frustrated themselves that my reservation was wrong and made attempts as best they could to accommodate. Overall, a 3 star experience. Not someplace I'd look to stay again unless location was key, as it's smack dab the in Lynnwood/Alderwood Mall area.

Customer service was excellent. The rooms and hotel in general were clean and inviting; the beds were comfortable. The internet WiFi signal was excellent with no interruptions. The breakfast was great. Free coffee was made available most of the day.

Very noisy room. There is noise just from guests normal walking in the room above, and from the street. This really affects the quality of your sleep. The noise when other rooms use the Jacuzzi is overwhelming. Breakfast is basic. Very basic. The breakfast area is too small, and soon gets very crowded. The hotels do not respect your special request at all, even if you make your reservation 6 month in advance. A weird (the sewer?) smell in the room last for all 4 days, but I assume that the room was approved by the cleaning staff prior to my arrival. Would I stay at this hotel again? Never.

Don't try to use a Best Western gift card if you are a woman at this hotel! It required my husband to go down and discuss this with the front desk for approval. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Very heavy room door, difficult for us to open.

Very friendly staff and very clean room. Has an outdoor pool which I enjoyed. I stayed in a suite which was great. The outdoor pool was an enjoyable asset. The outside seating area was very comfortable. This is a quiet hotel even though it's close to freeway.

Very good to excellent service & amenities. Rooms were well kept and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit better than typical motel fare. Convenient access to shopping w/o having to go into Seattle. However, the drive into Seattle was tolerable when not dealing with commute traffic (which was only true after about 9:30 AM and before about 15:30).

Warm, friendly staff. Service was great. Clean, large room w/all the comforts of home. We would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was good, but could be improved on. The bacon was tasteless and quite fatty. The eggs were good, and the atmosphere in the cafeteria area was bright and welcoming.

Overall our stay was acceptable. I thought the number of reward points I was charged for one night was too much for the quality of this location. The décor was average but the bed was unsatisfactory. It rolled me to the center all night and left me with low back pain and a sore neck. On a good note...the staff was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was better than most.

Rooms are nice and clean, could definitely use some updating in hallways, etc. Does feel a bit "old" in areas. Breakfast is fine, but the area to eat your breakfast is really small for such a large hotel, just a bit of change and it could work nicely. Hard with a family to find seating to eat breakfast.. Employees helpful so that is a plus!!

My stay was best described as "uneventful." That comes about by a lot of hard work behind the scenes by caring and professional staff that make it LOOK effortless. I'll be back the next time I have business on the North end of Seattle.
