The young lady that's is the night auditor was so professionally friendly,and didn't forget to mention everything! I will be staying here whenever I'm in town as long as they don't change staff... would recommend to anyone ,it's spotless!

Room was fine. Bed was ok. AC was on the quiet side which was nice. Shower was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price was very good. Most important to me it was quiet. If you want quiet give this place a try. Did not try the breakfast. We will stay there again.

Fair accommodation and about standard for a BW, although some others have been superior to this one. Spa was nice but needed a leaf clean, pool was too cold to swim. Breakfast was just ok but met the needs.

Clean, quiet, convenient place to stay. Checking was quick, friendly desk staff member was very helpful. She told us the area we parked in was not theirs and we might get towed. Glad she noticed. She also sent us to a great little BBQ place just minutes away. Hot City BBQ was quick and had delicious food. It was an easy in, easy out place to stay.

You will not find a hotel in better condition, with caring staff. If I'm anywhere near this location in the future, I will go out of my way to stay here. I was pleasantly surprised, as this was my first visit.

A great experience. Staff were kind and professional, and went above and beyond. Rooms were very clean. Hot tub and pool were perfect! Our pet (a dog) was welcomed warmly. We will definitely come again.

This Best Western property is clean, well managed and maintained. The team is truly welcoming and do a great job. The rooms are updated and enjoyable. The beds are comfortable. The bedding and pillows are soft and of better than average quality.

Make sure you check the refrigerator they don't seem to work too good The check-in was very slow and cumbersome the week before it took 25 minutes to get checked in The key that was issued only worked one night had to go back and get another one kind of frustrating

Was very impressed with the value for the price and the cleanliness of the rooms. Place in general was very comfortable and large for a hotel room. I think in the future best western will be my go to. It's a little more expensive than others but worth it for the comfort and cleanliness.

Heather is great. She always goes above and beyond. We stay here almost every weekend. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is good and hot. The lady that does the is very nice. She is willing to help with whatever is needed

The room was nice. Bed sheets and bathroom were very clean. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure was great. Front desk ladies were very helpful during check in and check out. Breakfast was grab and go, due to covid

The hotel is reasonable rate for the value. It seems to be upgrade in recent in years and provides all the needs of someone traveling for one night. I only recommend they upgrade the towels (all wash cloths, hand and bath towels)

I cannot say enough good about this hotel. We were traveling down the 5 fwy and everything along the 5 was sold out. We decided to go 9 miles in to this Best Western and could not have made a better decision. The hotel was absolutely spotless. We have been in 8 hotels in the last 10 days and this one was the best. The staff was wonderful, very professional, very friendly. the rooms were quiet and the a/c worked very well. The parking was a bit tight, but we were able to get a spot. The town has a lot to offer for dinner meals, though it appears to be a bit economically depressed. That did not change our enjoyment of the hotel itself at all. We were give grab/go bags in the morning that had breakfast sandwiches, apples, yogurt, breakfast bars. That was wonderful because we did not have to deal with food in unsealed containers. If we have the need to drive the 5 fwy again, we will definitely come back to this hotel. Truly the cleanest and most well-kept hotel we have ever been in.

Staff was extremely rude would not honor online price! Charged me $200 deposit, then made additional 6 charges totaling almost $600 for only 1 night and now I have to wait for up to 5 days for that money to be refunded

My brother-in-law lives nearby, so we have stayed at this hotel repeatedly over the past 6 years. It has suffered in quality since COVID, but it is still a safe bet for relatively clean room (on our latest visit, the only noticeable problem was that the mirror had toothpaste splatter on it when we arrived) and relative quiet (have never heard noise from neighboring rooms, but do hear hall noise from time to time). The worst COVID casualty at this hotel is the breakfasts. They used to provide a fantastic buffet of cooked and cold dishes. Now, they provide a brown bag filled with 3 items: an orange, a small granola bar, and a small El Monterrey Chimichanga. The upside to this problem is that across the parking lot facing the hotel is a cafe called Courtyard Mimosa that serves lovely breakfasts and lunches. Before COVID, I never saw a single customer there (and we didn't go either). But, now that Best Western is serving inedible breakfasts, the place is swarming with properly-socially-distanced customers. The food is very good, the service is great, and the prices are comparable to Denny's. And if mimosas are your thing, theirs are ginormous. One last thing to say about this hotel: the front desk ladies keep close watch on the front door and are very proactive with those who come and go. You may consider it rude that the front desk clerk may try to stop you on the way to the elevator, but just keep in mind she is serving double duty as a front desk clerk AND security. Which ultimately serves your best interest. We will continue to stay here for the foreseeable future when visiting family. SIDE NOTE: We haven't found Los Banos' best Mexican restaurant yet, but the closest one to this hotel (a shack a block and a half away from the hotel on the same side of the street) called the Cutija Taco Shop is a MUCH better option than El Grullense. El Grullense was recommended to us by the young lady at the front desk, but the food was of VERY poor, cheap, tasteless quality, the service was absurd, and the food gave us both diarrhea. Cutija's food was standard Taqueria quality and did not get either of us sick.

Be ready to get charged per hour if you arrive early, receptionist was very nice management/owner instructed her to charge me more for early check in when I asked why because ive never been charged at THIS location she was instructed to tell me it's hotel policy.

Very nice location. Food & gas is available right by the hotel. I only stayed for one night but felt safe with my surroundings. I booked & paid online so I did not worry about cost once I got to the Inn. It's about 9 miles east of I5 but right on the main road.

I got a room for a family member and the front desk was so rude and judgemental on the way we look because of our tattoos even tho I'm an elite member and stay over 30 nights a year at Best western for work. I would never recommend this place!

For us, spending $150+ for 1 night it was not the expected value. Check in front office manager was amazing. Young woman next day was discriminatory. Rooms had tiny pillows, pools closed in 102 degree weather and no full breakfast. The rooms were clean and most staff were very kind.

We were just passing through and this hotel worked well for us. Clean, reasonably quiet. Easy parking. A good restaurant in the carpark. Good price. Free breakfast was available, but we didn't have time. Internet was good and free.

Stayed in the king suite which was one of the best king suites ever! It had a large living room with a gas fireplace and a separate bedroom with a door that could close it off from the living room. And there were plenty of lights! As readers we are often disappointed by rooms that have few lights with dim bulbs that make reading difficult. But this room was great.

Front Desk staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Hotel and room were clean (appear recently remodeled/updated) and well-appointed with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and alarm clock. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones we had in hotels, the heat/ac unit worked well and the room rates are definitely reasonable. We did not partake of the free breakfast as we took advantage of the ability to sleep in a little. I have absolutely no complaints about this Best Western and will not hesitate to book with this location in the future or to recommed it to friends and fellow travelers. Overall, our stay there was great.

Very clean, warm an friendly. Room was nice big clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. All amenities were available an easy to use. Breakfast was hot an a very large variety of items to choose from. Hot coffee, juice an milk

The questionaire made me think I was checking the excellent button, but now I realize it was the wrong button. EXCELLENT stay all around.

Nice Hotel the people were friendly and I felt secure. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good I liked that the breakfast area was open since 5 am so I was able to get breakfast and my coffee there and make it to work by 6 am.

Excellent place to stay. The staff was very good and the check in was very fast. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was also excellent. The breakfast offered hot, prepared food versus the pre-packaged type found at most hotels offering breakfast.

Check in was less that expected, (clerk was not very inviting, few words and not enough information. Didn't smile once). She maybe needs a little Hospitality training. Happy hour was great. Snacks, drinks and service was great! Out King room was wonderful with Well appointed spaces. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. Watch your wallet and cell phones as easy for people to walk in off the street and steal them, (it happened at the table next to us.) Would definately stay again if in the area.

Went to Los Banos for my son's fiance's bridal shower. We thought that we'd give this hotel a try, previously we've stayed at the La Quinta. The hotel is reasonably well situated (a couple of minutes drive to shopping malls and restaurants). Front-desk was courteous and efficient for check-in. The room was a reasonable size with a fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was okay, nothing special at all. The room, bathroom and hotel as a whole were clean. On day 1 noticed that the toilet was leaking - mentioned this to the Front-desk, who had it fixed in short order. Breakfast is 5 am - 9 am - I thought it was okay - I made myself a toasted bacon and egg sandwich. Many of the other choices were pre-packaged items. The hotel does not have a gym but provides access to a gym in the shopping mall a couple of blocks away - that facility is new, in good condition and has a wide variety of exercise and weight machines.

The hotel is set back from the main road so it is super quiet. It's within walking distance to some great eateries. The beds are super comfy and there are plenty of outlets to charge devices. The breakfast was fine, including eggs and sausage.

The check in was great and the front desk made sure we were happy with our room. The breakfast could have more choices but the food was good. Most important was the Customer service and Honesty. I forgot my very nice ring on the night stand. When the cleaning lady found it she brought it to management and they called me to let me know they found something of mine. They offered to mail it or hold in there safe until I can pick it up. Thank you

Great place to stay always friendly and professional.I like the location and the cleanliness of the hotel.I would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the area and some of the other Best Western locations can take a note from this locations management.

Was out on the road for a little and wasn't far from this location.. wife came half way to this place with the kiddos to meet up with me.. for price and quality I would go with this location.. much better then the one in anderson and cheaper as well

You can't go wrong staying here when your in Los Banos California. Excelent staff, very helpful and truley cared you were staying with them. The rooms were well kept and very clean. As someone once said, "I will be back"

Good: Room was clean and quiet. Very easy check in/out. Courteous staff. Good WiFi Bad: TV very small. Bed pillows are half size should be accent pillows not to sleep on. Shower head needs to be changed.

Every Best Western, (with only very minor exceptions) seems to be reliably good, and has few, if any problems, concerns. I generally feel quite safe selecting and staying at most Best Westerns that I have visited. This one in Los Banos is quiet, safe, clean, easy to find, and close to stores and restaurants. I will stay there again, but I will likely pass on breakfast--it's McDonald's style.

Older facility but good value for area. Linens clean and bathroom fixtures newer. Pillows were a little flat but beds were good. Would stay here again. Restaurants within walking distance were not that good.

The bathroom during our stay did not operate. We arrived after midnight. At that time the toilet was not flushing properly. By morning it was not flushing at all. As a result, we could not bath as well. We were offered a room down the hall to use the toilet. We had to leave for an appointment and needed to leave the hotel early. Hotel management offered a 10% reduction to our room rate. For our inconvenience that offer seemed totally inadequate. There were 3 of us sharing the room. None of us felt that we were able to properly clean ourselves up before leaving the hotel for our appointment 2 hours away. I do not think we would stay again at this hotel. It took an entire day before anyone from hotel management would contact us to discuss a reasonable financial solution. It is now 24 hours later and we are still waiting to hear from the property's owner.

I usually avoid Best Westerns, because the quality is so inconsistent. I've stayed at this hotel twice before -- last time was 10 years ago, and since that was a good experience, we decided to stay there again. This is a very nice Best Western. The furnishings are nice and clean, and the room is comfortable. We were surprised to see how much the road traffic has increased since our last stay, and we found that there was more street noise than we like. If you stay there, try to request a room as far from the street as possible. However, you could do much worse. Everything else about our stay was good (and we were happy to see that there's still a Baskin Robbins sharing the parking lot!). We'd stay there again.

This was a very nice clean tidy hotel with everything we needed plus a good breakfast. Many restaurants to chose from for a dinner meal. It's about 8 miles off the freeway. It's in a quiet area with very friendly staff.

Hotel is clean. Doing updates but not intrusive. Staff friendly. Breakfast has a good variety to chose from, cereals, yogurt, soy milk, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon one day sausage the other. Fresh fruit and fruit juice. coffee and teas.

This hotel is tucked away off the main street in a small strip mall-like location. therefore, at night it is really quite quiet. bedding and linens were consistent with BW hotels. King room was large and recently updated. Breakfast included. Smaller area than many BW- but adequate

Have driven past this motel for years and never noticed it before. Probably because it is set back a bit from Pacheco Blvd. which also seems to help with less highway noise. Check in and check out was painless plus we were assigned to nice upper floor room. Our overnight stay was pleasant and comfortable. Our only difficulty was with the heating system to the point of just turning it off. It always seemed to be too hot regardless the temperature setting. Breakfast area was very small and completely occupied by a bunch of construction workers so we elected to eat out. Good move on our part because we found the "World Famous" Eddie's cafe.

Stayed here New Years Eve. Went to M and Ms Italian Restaurant for dinner. Easy walk. Staff were very pleasant. Room was clean, breakfast was good. There was a Baskin Robins next door and Pizza Hut about 2 blocks away. We enjoyed our stay.

The room is nice but the lady who replaces the FREE breakfast monitors what you eat and makes you feel uncomfortable. The room is nice and the front desk people were friendly. But the lady i dealt with at the breakfast left a sour taste in my mouth. Not sure i will stay there again.

We were late checking in to the hotel and we were very tired when we got there. The hotel staff was so nice. When we checked out the lady at the desk was so kind. She made sure that I had my Best Western rewards points and gave me a map of other Best Westerns. As my kids said this really was a Best Western.

Request the top floor. We could hear the person above us! Room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable. There is a pool and jacuzzi and new lounge chairs. Only 1 non fast food restaurant within walking distance.

I would give it five stars except I reserve that for expensive luxury hotels with all the costly frills. But for a mid-price hotel, I give them a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. The property is well-maintained and looks almost new. My room was PERFECT, it had every desirable amenity. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, giant screen TV, free fast WiFi, steam iron & board, work desk, easy chair with hassock, good HVAC, VERY comfie bed with nice linen, big bathroom. Everything was really clean and the bathroom was immaculate. Nice quiet hotel too, and safe. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended!

This was a good, basic hotel. It was clean and quiet and there was a fitness center with a treadmill, so I was good to go. Based on the exterior appearances and reviews of other hotels in Los Banos, I would recommend staying here.

This was our second time staying here. Nice quiet and clean. Good location, plenty of restaurants close by. My only real issues here have to do with the breakfast room and the food. The breakfast room is on the small side for the size of the hotel and my wife is put off by most of the food being packaged in small bags.We will stay here again when we visit Los Banos.

Comfortable and friendly and clean this hotel was well received. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows to choose from. Bathroom was large and accommodating and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside was the small breakfast nook. It really should be expanded, as folks were in the lobby finding a place to sit. Breakfast was nice, warm and varied! I enjoyed my stay here. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean, with a comfortable bed. Although the building is old, it is well-maintained, and apparently recently remodeled. Breakfast starts early, at 5:00am, and the hot items are sausage, eggs, and waffles.

We have stayed at the Best Western in Los Baños a few times and this time it was just what we expected........clean rooms, full breakfast with plenty of protein options, reasonable pet fee and convenient location. There is a washer / dryer for guests to use, a small workout room and an outdoor pool. The Courthouse Diner is just across the parking lot. We had a great hamburger and curly fries, I mean really great. Next time we plan to explore the area a bit more. The historic district looks interesting.

I found this hotel on my second trip to the area for business, and will not choose any other one. It's clean, the staff is excellent (friendly and courteous and interested in making my stay perfect!) I enjoy this hotel, and when associates come to meetings at the project, I always have them choose this hotel. Best value, and quality in town! I won't stay anywhere else.

everyone was very helpful, friendly and they all seemed happy to be working. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable temperature was good, lots of hot water, and close to everything. Reservations were easy to make and they let me have the 3rd floor as I always request.

Highly recommend the Best Western in Los Banos for business. Everything was provided as advertised, room, amenities and the breakfast included all the normal American fare. The owner didn't demand that I follow his/her religion in their American place of business.

Good place for business or pleasure trip on I-5 from Bay to LA in San Joaquin Valley. My wife and I stay here regularly on our holiday trips from Northern California to Southern California. Quiet, easy access to and from I-5, without the traffic noise.

I stayed here on business. It was suppose to be a place to get a good night's rest before waking up early and heading off. Needless to say, it was more of an appearance than quality of work issue. The room looked clean. However I found used medicine capsule package in floor near bed. The room had a strong mildew/foul smell coming from the bathroom. So while it looked clean, it didn't feel clean. The nice thing is they provided me with a to go bag for breakfast. Other coworkers stayed at a nearby hotel that was recently remodeled. I would have much preferred to stay there.

We visit Los Banos every year or so to go birding at Merced NWR and San Luis NWR complex. This motel is relatively new, very clean, and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable. The location was quiet and centrally situated. The breakfast is adequate. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff walking distance from good restaurants. If you like TV there are more channels available than I have ever seen in the motels I have stayed at. The breakfast room is very small, but a pretty good selection of food to choose from. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Los Banos.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly; Breakfast was tasty. Glad we stopped. Location was close to national wildlife refuges for birding. Hotel was easy to find. This was our second stay and value was great.

We stopped here as a midway stop. The check in was very easy and price was right. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms have modern decor. There was small cosmetic details that needed attention. The lamp shade was broke and the curtains had a small tear. Great food across the parking lot at The Courthouse Diner.

My stay was just ok due to all the room remodeling, but I understand that because it is an older Best Western. I stayed only one night and did not use any of the amenities so I have no comment there. It is a little of the I-5 but that was not an issue. Several dining choices within walking distance. The important thing for me was that it was clean and quite. I wish they had a full breakfast instead of continental but overall a pleasant night.

AC was broken, when notified front desk, was not able to check it or repair it-One sleepless night. When notified Manager-"Bill" @ check-out, he was very confrontational-loud-rude about the situation, even after checking and seeing that the room was unbearably warm. We decided to leave hotel early, felt too uncomfortable to stay.

Passing through town for one night, This hotel has been recently updated. It's clean and nicely appointed. Staff was friendly and breakfast starts early for those that like an early start. It's worth the short drive off of Interstate 5.

This hotel is perfectly situated along Interstate 5 when traveling south. There isn't a quality place to stay anywhere nearby. We have stayed there this year and last and enjoyed our stay.The staff was helpful finding a restaurant. The room was nice and clean. Located in an area with plenty of stores available.

We experienced a lot of street noise in our rooms, which were located nearest Hwy 152, the north end of the building. Otherwise the overall hotel was very nice. I suspect that had our rooms been located at the other end of the hotel, my overall rating would been excellent.

Front desk gal was friendly and so helpful! She put us in a quiet area of the hotel. Yay! They had a washer and dryer! We had a wonderful breakfast, so glad we decided to stay here instead of Merced. The price difference was huge!

We stayed here one night while on the road. The room was clean and quiet. The eating area is very small and and if a family arrives for breakfast, you are out of luck. While there, someone popped the X off of our Maxima's trunk lid. Damn.

We visited Los Banos for a day in our journey around California. It was an extremely warm day for driving and when we arrived at the hotel the outdoor pool welcomed us. It was cool and refreshing - just what we needed after a long day's drive. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space, comfortable bed and sitting area. Breakfast was good with a good selection of breakfast items ranging from toast, fruit, cereals and waffles. Staff were exceptional at the front desk. It was nice to have a place to do some laundry. We would definitely visit this hotel again!

My husband and I were pleased with our stay. The breakfast area was clean and had a great selection to choose from. We were not disappointed with our stay at all. We would definitely stay at this hotel once again.

Clean, up to date room and nice staff. Variety of places to eat nearby. Overall would recommend. Parking can be a bit tight as hotel is shares area with other businesses. AC unit worked well, but was rather loud when it cycled on an off during the night.

I really like this hotel. I have traveled through Los Banos, but never thought to stay here when I am traveling to the Bay Area, until a couple of months ago. I found it to be a nice change of pace from larger hotels in the Bay Area. It has a quaint, homey feel to it. I like the decor of the exterior, it has character, and the newly remodeled interior looks very clean and fresh. The beds are a little firmer than other Best Westerns I have stayed in. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, very personable and welcoming. It is reasonably priced. I did not have breakfast there, but noticed it has a smaller breakfast nook area than some Best Westerns. I used the pool and liked the privacy around the pool area.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was excellent. Room was spacious & nicely furnished. Breakfast was great. Just enough variety. Nice little restaurant across the parking lot. Several other places nearby to eat. Location was perfect. Right off the highway but was very quiet. Did not hear any traffic noise. Will definitely stay there again when the need arises. I had stayed in different motels in the area, but I will only stay here on future business trips. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was excellent! It was easily accessible from the main street, but not so close that it was noisy at all. Very nice!

Funeral for family member, arrived in later evening and appreciated fast and easy check in and check out. Everything was great making this rough time easier and pleasant. Great room, great bed, great breakfast.

After driving over 500 miles that day it was nice to reach our destination for the night. It was located in an area that made the start of our next day very conveninet. The Valley is growing with lots of agriculture which is great for this time of year.

Late Sunday afternoon, decided to stay here and we're very happy we did. Welcoming friendly staff, good quiet spotlessly clean spacious room on top floor and nice hot breakfast --- if only every hotel along the interstates were as good!!!

One of the best kept secrets in the Merced valley. A few miles off the I-5, but worth the extra 20 minutes. Clean, comfortable, good value, and the staff are great! And, don't forget to try the Court House Diner, right next to the hotel. Food is great, and so convenient!!

Like to say we were treated very efficient, courteous and very welcoming. For our breakfast very accommodating we left at 5:00 am so the ladies at that time making sure we had our breakfast before we left. They were both very friendly. Like to thank them both

just came from Los Angeles to Los Banos to see houses .I read this town is one of the safest and quiet for retirement .I always like this town ever since I came over 20 years ago,it has every thing, stores hotels and I like the way the streets are very wide.

The staff is just great, always friendly, always looking to help to make the stay pleasurable. Breakfast starts early (0500) so I'm able to start the day early. Breakfast has a good variety, it's hot, coffee is hot. For A great place to stop if you need a good sleep.

After driving all day, we decided to stay at this hotel. Doris Lovett was the front desk reception. She came across as a sweet helpful old lady. I paid and was given a room. I went to my car to get my family. Everyone was tired. I was tired. So I was glad to have a room. My wife went ahead to the room. When I went back into the hotel with my three small children, Doris began to yell at me. She completely came out of character and yelled, "you paid for 4 people. You have five. You have to leave or I will call the police. Come get your refund at the front desk." I was shocked. What happened to the sweet old lady. I wasn't given any options other than to leave or Doris was going to call the police. A tactic used when poor customer service is involved. No criminal laws were broken. I would have paid for another room or more for the current one if she would of offered. Doris returned to character when she saw other customers come in. Becoming the sweetest old lady again. Only when she is taking your money. Fake. She was rude and unprofessional. My family suffered unnecessary stress that day. The money was deposited back into my account three days later. But they charged me 1 cent for the transaction! Do not stay here unless you really have too. The customer service here is not worth 1 cent.

Everything the hotel provided was excellent. Unfortunately we were on the ground floor. Everything was so convenient for us. If we had known there was an elevator, we would have stayed on a top floor. People on the floor above us seemed to walk loudly about every hour until early morning. Voices weren't loud, but walking went on constantly. This was annoying. Not the hotel's fault, but sound proofing not built into the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. They actually had sausage and omelets.

Will come back and stay here again. Loved the town.had never been thru there before and were amazed at what all was there. The only thing that could have been improved was more signage for this area along with the hotels in that area.

Hotel was a welcome sight after a long road trip. Satisfying stay and good sleep. The breakfast was plentiful, the noise negligible, the hotel was the very opposite of the town's name. After some less than happy hotel experiences on our trip, this was a very welcoming place.

A very nice mid-range hotel. The hotel was clean and well kept as was the room. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was better than average. The room was comfortable, clean, and enjoyable place to spend the night. Location was in a nice area and back from main highway enough not to get noise.

My experience at this best western location was quite pleasant. The staff as well as upper management are welcome and helpful towards guest and their needs. I recommend this location to many of my colleagues because of the service I received when staying here.

This is the best hotel in Los Banos, but not the best Best Western I have stayed at. I was here on business. It accommodated everything I needed except the internet was choppy. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Small, small breakfast area. Clean room, but weird. Furniture all leaned as the floor was nowhere near being level. GREAT water pressure. Our room was near the stairs so we heard the door shut all night. I guess I'd rather stay here than right off I-5. It's a nice midway stop from AZ to the Northwest. It's better than some but not as nice as others. I don't think we'll return here.

My wife and I were traveling North on I-5 and intended to stay about 1/2 way to Oregon. We saw the great reviews for the Best Western Executive Inn in Los Banos. The hotel is about 6 miles off the interstate but the trip was worth it. The hotel was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the full complimentary breakfast in the morning. The old town was very cute and we enjoyed our dinner there in the evening.

This is a very nice hotel. Quiet, well insulated, nicely decorated and overall, a well designed and built hotel. Housekeeping does an excellent job, rooms are clean, internet fast, you don't hear your neighbors noise or noise from above rooms. All in all, one of the nicest Best Western motel/hotels I have stayed in, I try to stay at BW when I travel, I have probably stayed in 20 or more BW rooms in California.

The staff were friendly and the facility very well maintained. I was greeted immediately and my reservation pulled right up. We were steps away from several eateries yet off the main road enough that the floor level room was quiet. The breakfast offerings were tasty with a nice variety. Loved the sausage and egg option. The evening cookie and cup of coffee topped my stay off. If i were to comment on anything negative, i guess it would be the bar soap was very drying. Even my daughter had the same concern.

Pure pleasure for the travelling man, attention to detail to assure your stay is a well rounded experience. Good food, facilities and people. The location is a challenge in the farm community and adjacent businesses are close. Dining is adequate and the staff very helpful in assisting you find a restaurant that is what you are looking for, if your taste are limited. Lots of business guests so eat early.

Attractive room at a good price. Friendly staff, adequate breakfast, Thick towels, AC with thermostat, automatic on light into bathroom were all appreciated. Elevators. present. Stayed here on way to Redwood coast on way from Arizona. Prefer a smaller town and Los Banos fit the bill. Seeing so many orchards and farm crops on the way north on I-5 was enjoyable.

The staff at Best Western was very helpfully accommodating all of my needs during my stay! The rooms were spotless and fully stocked with all of the necessities of anyones travel expectations. The breakfast was great with options that I had not expected with this type of stay.

We stayed in, I think 312, which should be straight above the entrance. It is a suite room with good AC (important in Central Valley Summers) and a great big balcony. We enjoyed it very much.It was good value for money.

We needed a place to sleep on our way up North and checked in late. Clean room and bathroom, soft sheets and fluffy pillows. AC worked well but was a little loud. Room (king bed) included a mini fridge and microwave. Not sure about amenities but I did notice a computer and printer in the lobby. Breakfast had a decent selection of coffee, teas, juices and fruits, pastries, cereal, make your own waffles, sausage patties & egg patties, as well as yogurt cups, hard boiled eggs and oatmeal packets for those wanting something healthier.

My daughter, granddaughter and I were returning home from San Diego and were just too tired to keep going. We were just outside of Los Banos so decided to see if we could find accommodations. Found this Best Western just off of a main street. Place is immaculate, staff is welcoming, they have recommendations and directions for restaurants, the room is also immaculate, good beds, fluffy towels, coffee pot, refer, ice just outside, breakfast in the morning starting at 5:00am...what's not to like? I highly recommend it.

I have stayed here many times. It is a fairly nice hotel and the staff are always helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are in Los Banos. It it also nice to have the Baskin Robbins in the same parking lot.

AAA discount Nice rooms, lots of parking, but no view. Good night's sleep, but nothing elegant, in downtown area right on main highway. Restaurants and fast food nearby. Friendly helpful staff arrived at midnight, no reservation necessary.

My husband and I had no intention of staying in Los Banos, but our car broke down on the I-5 while traveling between Los Angeles and San Francisco, so we found ourselves needing a place to stay with our two dogs. I called Best Western and they had availability so we decided to stay here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, literally everyone always had a smile on their face. Doris was great in helping us find a room that accommodates our dogs, and helped us secure an additional night just in case our car troubles couldn't be sorted out the next day. The rooms are simple and very clean. I loved our room had a pretty big fridge (for a hotel room) and a microwave. The breakfast is great, especially the waffles! My only regret is that I didn't pack a bathing suit, because the pool is pretty big (suitable for laps) and the facilities there are clean too. There's also coin operated self-serve washer and dryer on site. Since we were carless, we appreciated that there were food options nearby, including a sports wings/beer bar sharing the same parking lot, Baskin Robins next door, and a nice diner one over. Despite the circumstances, we were able to relax and enjoy our time here in Los Banos thanks to Best Western.

This hotel is great for the price, but the breakfast is a basic continental. The pillows are plentiful, although not very comfy. Once again I want to emphasize that this motel is great for the price. Two queen beds $89.00, and the room is clean!!!

First of all place was very clean and everyone greeted you like a warm house and treated you like it was their house. good price and beautiful décor and bed very nice loved it will recommend to all. black bear diner down the street excellent

This hotel has a very pleasant exterior that is traditional but the rooms are updated to modern amenities. The stay was pleasant, restful and peaceful. The price is very reasonable, too. We recommend this Best Western facility.

We stayed here on a recent vacation. Needed two rooms and both were clean and spacious in their set up. Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Cookies waiting upon our arrival too! They were kind enough to recommend a dinner venue (M & M Italian Restaurant) which was fabulous! Everything was clean, quiet rooms, and breakfast was great!

We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable and efficient. We were very impressed with the friendly staff and clean comfortable room. The free breakfast was nice but in a small crowed lobby area. We're very happy we found this hotel. It was a great pit stop.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the best part was the helpfulness of the staff. The desk clerk even loaned me her personal cell phone for a needed phone call. Breakfast was a bit skimpy and the dining room small, but filled the bill. Several fast food restaurants within an easy walk, and Baskin Robbins next door!

The price is great (about $90 total for a room with a king bed) and this is a decent place for a one night stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is well maintained. The property was another hotel at some time before becoming a Best Western and unlike most Best Westerns in this part of the state, where you drive up and park outside your room, this is an actual hotel where all rooms are accessed by an interior hallway. The hall carpet is beautiful and each door is framed beautifully. Inside of our room we enjoyed new carpet, new tile in the bathroom and a new granite sink. While the mattress was very comfortable, all of the furniture in the room was pretty banged up with the exception of a new desk chair. The lamps and TV are new as well, but everything else is worn, scratched, wobbly, chipped or has paint marks on it from when they painted the room. Hopefully they will be replacing the furniture soon. This being said, the room was clean and quiet. There are no good views on this property, either the parking lot or the back of the Travel Lodge next door, but this is the kind of place you stop at for the night while traveling, which was our case. The hotel is located across from a strip mall that houses a wing place/sports bar, gift shop, church, liquor store and a couple of other businesses. There are plenty of chain and mom & pop eateries around and the room came with a very large fridge (for a motel) as well as a decent sized microwave. The free breakfast was very good too - eggs, sausages, waffles, fresh fruit and packaged pastries, as well as coffee, tea and juice. There is a pool and hot tub in a nice secluded area, and like the rest of the property, it was clean and well maintained. If the furniture hadn't been so beat up I would have given this property a higher rating; that being said, everything else about it is good.

This owner complained about us getting coffee & hot chocolate from the coffee bar he said no this is for breakfast and my daughter said well what do you want me to do with it throw it out and waste it, he said no just take it, then he removed all the hot chocolate packets, he told us no visitors after 6pm and then preceded to tell her we don't need your kind here??? I mean really none of the staff were friendly nor did they make you feel welcomed. this is the first time in my life of traveling that I or my family have ever been treated this way and it will be the last. I would never recommend this property to anyone. The owner needs to take a class on how to treat people and learn what Best Western standards are..

We chose this lovely little hotel because Los Banos is half way home from our visit in Redding to Ontario, CA. We were very pleased with the quiet location. The hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again.

I stopped here with my granddaughter. The hotel was nice and clean. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was a typical breakfast for a hotel. I had no complaints and would stay here again.

Really surprised how comfy and safe I felt as a single older woman travelling alone. Will definitely recommend to others I know who might be staying in the area. Convenient to everything in town and staff is very helpful with directions.

It was the best I could find in Los Banos. Normally I stay at other name brand hotels if available. The staff was friendly. I did not do the breakfast, but did make coffee in the room. This was the closest to the event and other family was also staying there.

I always have a good stay. I will always stay at a Best Western if available. The value is without compare. I love the breakfast that they provide. You can have either a hot or a cold breakfast. It's great to have the option of a pool, even in the winter time.

Best Western always has clean rooms, well made and comfortable rooms & beds that allow for a full night's rest. The on-site amenities include a decent breakfast, good high speed internet and more. I would definitely go back.

You would never believe it would be as quiet as it is so close to the freeway. The staff was friendly and the room nice sized, clean and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, comfortable bed and free wifi. The breakfast in the morning had a lot of choices. There was a pool but it was a little chilly to me for swimming. Several places close to choose from to get a bite to eat.

Driving through central Calif on the way to Redding, we stopped at this hotel and found it outstanding - clean, secure, with a very friendly and helpful staff. It is surprisingly "luxurious" for a little wide spot in the road, like Los Banos. Definitely recommended.

Very convenient and meet our needs with great ease. Very quiet for being so close to the highway. Security was not an issue. Breakfast was all fresh and wholesome, The staff was expert at stocking the items.

The room was quiet. The bed was firm and very comfortable. For breakfast you have a large selection and healthy selection of foods to chose from. The location is great for visiting the wildlife refuges. There are microwaves and refrigerators in each room.

I've stayed here a few times and always feel welcomed and enjoy the staff. The location of the hotel is set in off of a busy hwy/blvd and pretty much noise free. Walking distance to a couple of eateries and only a 3-5 minute drive to downtown and many other eating establishments. In case you forget anything, there is a walmart within a mile, but the hotel should cover you with minor incidentals. Great product and great value...

This location is very good, not close to the freeway but easy enough to find. Very quiet. A couple decent restaurants within walking distance. I will probably use it again on my annual trips to New Mexico.

Pleasantly surprised how nice this Best Western was since it was located off the beaten path. Exterior was unusual, but quite beautiful. East check in, friendly desk person, lovely clean room with comfortable bed. We would definitely stay again.

We stopped here after a hard drive through snow, rain and wind from Oregon. It is about 9 miles east of I-5 on 152. 152 becomes Pacheco Blvd so don't look for a cross street named Pacheco. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was large and clean. I also liked that the sink was separate from the toilet and tub/shower. Nice fluffy towels. There is an exercise room, washer and dryer and a pool with hot tub if the weather permits. Breakfast was good. The Belgian waffle machine I appreciated because you could make 4 small waffles, or just one, rather than having to make one large. Los Banos is named after Los Banos Creek where missionaries would bathe back in the day. A lot of Italian farmers were/are in the area and their pictures can be seen in the Black Bear Diner. I also got a better rate checking in at the hotel rather than going through Expedia.

Overall did have a very good and comfortable stat, what I didn't like was that online they charged me a certain rate and onced checked out and about week later I saw it was a whole different price..talk about unfixed rate. Got tired on the way north from LA and the hotel had space. Good enough room. Clean enough. Didn't have the continental breakfast so can't comment. Kind off the highway though so make sure you want to stop. The mapping software might bring you in from south of town but it might be faster to go up to 152 and head east

Coffee was cold in the early morning, hotel backs to freeway and is very very noisy. Hotel is way too pricey for the area and locale to noisy freeway. Check-in person was not rude but not friendly either. I expected more for the $125 room. The new exterior of this hotel is deceiving, it is a noisy, less than average hotel.

Fairly quiet, good place to stay. Clean, good value. Off the main street enough to be quieter. Parking close enough to use luggage carrier that they provide. Breakfast area a little crowded when it's available, Food quality good.

This trip was for a high school class reunion (not at the hotel). The only negative was a slight smoke odor in the room, not overpowering but still present. The staff was excellent, especially the girl at the front desk during the check-in.

Relatively cheap, conveniently located near town, ideal for a one-night stop-over. Breakfast a bit disappointing: "room" was extremely small, we had to take food back to our room as all the 4-5 tables were occupied.

We stayed here on the way to San Diego from Mendocino. Great prices, nice, clean, large room with two comfortable beds. Breakfast was a surprise, juice, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, waffle mix for fresh cooked waffles, bagels, cream cheese, fresh fruit, all for free,. The young lady at the reception desk was most helpful when our tv remote didn't work. She recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby M & Ms, delicious food.

This Best Western was OK. Clean and Comfortable but not a great place to stay if you are needing a quick night stay while traveling off the 5 frwy - perhaps from southern California to northern California. It is about 8 miles off the freeway.

Nice, clean room & bath with king sized bed. Continental type breakfast with a few breakfast sandwiches to heat in the microwave. Great price of $81.00 ! Our only minor complaint is that it's 6 miles off Interstate 5.

Nice and clean! Nice clean pool! Close to restaurants and would recommend to others. Quick check-in, and a good nights sleep. No complaints here! If passing through here again, we would stay here again.

Overall it was a good hotel stay to rest for the hours of driving ahead of us. Other than the overwhelming smell of Curry in the lobby.. our room luckily wasn't effected. They have washer & dryer quarter machines, pool / jac were very clean

My family stayed there while passing through and we were very pleasantly surprised. Very clean, friendly staff, nice continental breakfast, comfortable beds and pet friendly. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was a huge plus as well. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a clean, nice place who are also on a budget.
