When I booked the hotel with best western, it says that shuttle bus will be provided. I called hotel the day before I checked in to arrange the shuttle, I was told the service stopped and there is nothing they can do. Surprise and no apology. What a fair business!!
The room were well kept and clean. The appliance like the microwave and Iron worked. The bathroom was very clean as well and the bed was really clean and comfortable. I would recommend this location because the rates were very reasonable considering it's close to LAX International airport.
Overall the stay was pretty good. The room was clean but overall the upkeep could be a bit improved. Overall I am pretty happy for an airport hotel. Unfortunately they no longer provide a shuttle and getting there with the shuttle to the taxi pick and then a tack is a bit painful.
It's a very good central location, but of course, being next to the airport you may experience some noise, but it did not affect my stay. It's not far from where I was going. It's the perfect location for me. Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice sewing, pool, and Jacuzzi.
There was a lot of traffic noise due to the location. Fortunately my room didn't have much airport noise. Room was clean, bed comfortable and shower/bathroom had good number of towels. Breakfast was excellent. Not having an airport shuttle as was indicated on the website when I made my reservation was a surprise and added another $20 cost for the taxi to get to the airport.
My wife & I were in town for the Eagles Farewell Concert & chose this hotel for the convenient location & amenities (hot b'fast, comfy bed, helpful staff, etc.) Be aware that the airport shuttle is no longer offered, but the front desk staff will reimburse you for Taxi/Uber/Lyft rides to & from the airport. Good Mexican restaurants within walking distance.
This was, by far, the cleanest hotel in which we have stayed in many years! The staff is friendly, professional, and very hospitable. The management has chosen and trained the hotel employees very well. The staff is refreshingly pleasant and appear to be happy in their work. Breakfast is complimentary and offered an extensive array of options from “grab and go” to cooked foods. We highly recommend this Best Western Plus to travelers in the LAX area.
Terrific Experience. Hotel is in a convenient downtown location. Shuttle drivers were knowledgeable & friendly. Rooftop spa & pool. Sumptuous breakfast w/variety of items. Desk staff superb. They even helped look for a missing glucometer the day AFTER we stayed there and called me right back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying near LAX.
Friendly reception. The garage is multi-storey and spacious. WC has good lights. Clean towels and sheets. Breakfast varied and good. Quiet place, still outside noise could be heard through the window.
This is our second time staying at this motel. Front reception is very professional and helpful. We were able to check in early but there is a fee for it…It was early enough so I thought it fair. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a King with separate sitting area and kitchen. The room entrances are outside but from a covered hallway. There's a nice sitting area in the center of the property to relax and we asked for the fire pit to be put on and they quickly did that. The breakfast has many choices and is very clean. They offer coffee and tea choices 24 hours a day which we enjoyed often. It's a quick drive to the beach or possibly walkable (30 minutes maybe). Paid parking is available under the property. Front doors seem locked at all times which made us feel safer, 2 women traveling alone, but the area in general seems very safe.
Great stay and great service. Staff at the FD and the manager Prince were great. They accomodated our requests and the BF was amazing. At every point of our stay staff greeted us and we felt welcomed. Will definitely stay again
Stayed here for our first 2 nights of a 9 week holiday to the States. We choose mostly Best Western hotels because of the free breakfast and parking included, but also because we find the staff are usually most friendly. No exception here either. After getting off the plane from Australia my knee swelled up and I had terrible pain - I went down to the desk to ask advice of somewhere to go and was lucky enough to have (I think) the manager Prince there. He gave me an address of where to go, which I did. The next day he saw me and asked how I went, he was most concerned. Free shuttle from the airport too - just ring them and they'll send their driver. We were lucky enough to get Lamont - he was awesome.
We wanted a hotel close to the airport,as we were flying in from Auckland..this place met all our requirements….A decent price, great location, filling breakfast, efficient shuttle service and a nice Mexican restaurant just up the road..
This hotel was great for us. We were traveling with 2 of our boys. We got a room with 2 queens and a sofa bed which was perfect for us. The room was big and we didn't feel cramped like regular rooms. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh and delicious. We will certainly stay again.
I found this place because I am a Best Western Rewards member and we loved everything about it! The location is great, right off the freeway and walking distance to SoFi Stadium. There's also a bus stop conveniently right outside the hotel (or across the street, depending which way you're going) if you don't want to walk. They offer complimentary breakfast and there was definitely something there for everyone. Our room was very spacious and we had all the amenities we needed. I loved that they provide you with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower instead of the tiny little bottles to care for the environment. Everything worked perfect in our room and the alarm clock has a dimmer so the light isn't keeping you awake at night. The parking was underground so when we left the next day our vehicle wasn't hot from sitting in the sun all day. I absolutely recommend this place!
Horrible horrible rooms paying 180$ hoping it would be decent rooms for the price i paid but i sure was wrong really outdated rooms with a horrible smell, didn't seem sanitary at all expected more for the price i paid , light flickers when you turn them on, roaches in the room, horrible smell, but decent customer service, do not recommend staying here, ending up calling customer service asking for a refund and manager just switched us to a different room which wasn't any better, i want my refund , ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel
This place is a complete dump. Stayed here for one night for the CFP Championship game. Paid $500 for one night. Total rip off. The room smelled bad; there was trash in the hallway; old gross bedspreads on the beds. While this hotel is very convenient to LAX, that was the only redeeming feature of the hotel. Also located in a shady neighborhood- didn't feel safe there at all.
Not the best neighbourhood but great location to LAX - had a quick and easy check in and let us chill by pool until check in time - had an ok rooftop pool and hot tub which with some TLC could be way better and wifi strong and comfy bed and good continental breakfast
Shower not working I was told to cancel my reservations and leave I explained to them that I have a diabetic and I took my medication I didn't have enough energy to move to another room anytime well you don't want to move to another room cancel your reservation you can find a hotel somewhere else after I told him I've been driving for a while I was tired I just wanted to take a shower with the shower wasn't working and I feel very mistreated after paying the money I expected my shower to be working
Stayed one night awaiting our departure at LAX early in the morning. It was an earned free night and was excellent overall. Clean and comfortable. Wish we could have tried the breakfast. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
Best Western always comes through for me and my family, we were desperate to locate a place to stay and LA Best Western saved us. It has become the focus of our pre planning for family vacations. Thank you
Staff was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed while on a mission trip. Would stay here again. Room was clean and all the amenities were working and functioning as expected. Breakfast was good.
Breakfast was decent and well run. Rooms were comfortable, but parking is a bit tight. Everything ran smooth and it's a great central location to get to beaches and other places in about 20min or so. We enjoyed our stay.
Friendly and helpful staff. They had everything we needed and served a wonderful breakfast! The beds were comfortable and the staff even gave us a few toiletries that we needed. Our flight got canceled and we were able to book last- minute in the middle of the night. It was such a relief to get to stay here.
Front windows of hotels were dirty, looked like someone threw liquid on them and they never cleaned it off. The whole building smelled like dirty armpits, bathroom smelled even worse. The whole hotel was musty, it gave me a feeling like I was in humid weather. The bed sheets felt like the had not been washed in a few stays (maybe it was just the way the hotel made me and my family feel?) the pool area looked dirty, did not even use it, no other guests used it the whole time we were there and the days were pretty warm. Soon after we checked in I went to lobby to ask for refund for our next day stay because the place felt dirty and the manager had left for the day. Next day I went downstairs at 7am to talk to manager, he said “you guys can leave, but I'm still going to charge you the full amount”, because the hotel policy is a 24 hour in advance cancellation. I did not matter that I tried to cancel the day before.
This hotel is very poorly managed and it shows the second you walk in the door. The hotel was dirty and had a lingering smoke smell. The front counter staff was friendly and helpful but the hotel is roug. There is one elevator which felt insufficient for how many rooms the hotel has. There was food outside many of the doors when we arrived mid-afternoon. There was trash and debris all down the halls. The room's air conditioning was off when we got to it and it made the smell that much worse. The linens were dated and stained. We couldn't wait to checkout the next morning. When we did, we met the manager when he yelled at us as we were loading our vehicle because he wanted to park his car in a space designated for the airport shuttle. He was rude and borderline aggressive. Please save yourself a literal headache and don't stay at this location.
We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel was clean affordable walking distance from restaurants and gas stations, the rooftop pool was enjoyable and all the stuff was friendly and nice. We enjoyed the fitness center. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms AC and heater worked well.
We booked a pool view room with king bed and sofa bed for a family of 3. When I called to check on my room the manager said that we do not have a pool view room. I told him that we wanted a pool view room so he switched us to a pool view which did not have sofa bed. He refused to acknowledge the mistake or the problem. The room was next to a busy street with a broken window that wouldn't close properly. It was the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. When I tried to get some sort of concession by the manager, he said all this was my fault. Never mind that my booking shows a room type that he claims they do not have. So he asked me to discuss the problem with bestwestern.com and that our expectations are too high and something that his hotel cannot meet.
This was a good hotel for an overnight. Short taxi ride and easy to get to and from the airport. The room was clean and spacious - 2 queens and a pullout sofa. Staff were friendly and helpful. The building seemed a little dated, but overall a good stay.
Nice, comfortable room with plenty of space. Friendly staff! Easy access to everything and its' right off and on the 405. Parking spaces are tight so keep in mind if staying here and you drive a large vehicle. Definitely easier with compact vehicles. Felt safe and had a quiet night's sleep.
What a good find when we went online to search for a hotel near the airport. We needed one that is close by so we can sleep the night after flying for 18 hours from Asia and we had to head back to the airport in the morning to catch our flight back to Abq. Room was clean and the desk clerk was friendly and quick. The facility had been recently updated. Very modern contemporary vibe. Bed is comfy. Temperature controls work well. Showers and vanity spacious and clean. A nice hot breakfast was included and a variety of breakfast items were served. Highly recommend the hotel and location. Only disappointment is the misleading advertisement for free airport shuttle but that is only a small issue cos the cab cost us only $20 each way.
A Very good, near airport location, clean, And very friendly, and helpful staff. There is a free daily breakfast, And a indoor pool. The suites are modern, and a very good value. The hotel is on the bus routes, and by the Freeway.
Breakfast great. Staff profession and polite and helpful. Rooms clean. Cost was good. Amenities were all that I needed. A family hotel. Safety was also met in their set up with pass cards for the elevator.
We stayed there for 3 nights on the second day we received a call from from desk asking if we wanted our room to be cleaned out, once we said YES Please they hand out the phone. Our room was never cleaned up. There was an excessive dangerously leakage in the parking garage. In multiple spot's including an electrical panel. Garbage was not picked up by the elevator in the garage and the fourth floor.
This hotel is amazing. The staff is super attentive. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast was very good. I only wish they still had their LAX shuttle. However, Uber only cost us $13 and another option is LA city bus (for adventurous types). From LAX catch the Employee south Lot shuttle to the bus depot, then take the city bus #117 which drops you off right in front of the hotel! All for a grand total of $1.75! I highly recommend this BW Plus hotel. The staff makes it special. You can tell they work tirelessly to keep the hotel in tip-top shape.
I always love best westerns they where helpful. My daughter had brain surgery and they made sure we had everything 109% would stay there again very friendly checked on us , just a awesome hotel to be at and lots around
ok so worst experiance ever..manager rude and screams as if we are children in his house, says he allows peole to eat here as if we did not pay to eat and sleep there...insane ...i could sue because i have videos of how crazy he was... please dont waste your money here it is also very very old looking ...false advertisment!
Went to LA to the Super Bowl got there a day early , I didn't know what the outcome was going to be .. searched for the closet Best Western and got one just down a few blocks ! I had a great time .. 7-11 was right across the street for midnight snacking and gas is close to ! Just some things I like to have in walking distance for any emergencies..!
With so many options near LAX, this was one of the worse - dirty room and lobby - elevators didn't work - breakfast was a mess with no spoons (!) or butter. Pool had a green film on it. Awful place. There are lots of other suites near LAX that are much better.
I needed to leave a review for the WONDERFUL staff at the Best Western Plus Suites Hotel, particularly the General Manager Prince and staff member Noella. We arrived last night after a long travel day with a 3-mos old infant and wanted something else in terms of a room so decided to move our reservation. Not only was Noella so kind and understanding, but she forwarded the early check-out request to her manager, and he fully refunded ALL THREE NIGHTS when they were in their right to charge us a cancellation fee. It meant so much to a new mom and weary traveling family. I wish all hotels were this professional and the customer service were heartwarming. Many thanks Prince and Noella from the bottom of our heart!
The room was wonderful. We had a lovely stay. We were right next to the pool! The only issue we face was when I had to call the hotel and fix my reservation. A young man answer the phone very rudely. I believe his name was Prince, as someone that works at a Best Western at the Front Desk the way he took care of the situation was horrible.
This property is only about 5 - 7 minutes from LAX in traffic. It is handy when you have a layover for a connecting flight. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast at the hotel provided a lot of options, but dining options within walking distance outside the hotel are limited.
This hotel is located very close to the LA Forum, which is why we choose to stay. It is also near area beaches and LAX. The staff were all super friendly. Prince and Julissa at the front desk are very helpful and friendly.
Great service, great location. Friendly staff, free wifi. The bed was comfy and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good too, the coffee was really good too. I had trouble with my room key but the staff were very helpful and we got it fixed in no time. As a matter of fact all the card readers were being upgraded during my stay.
Finding a good hotel in Inglewood, California is somewhat difficult. I'm glad that I found The Best Western Plus Hotel in Inglewood . Great Manager there !! Great staff! and clean rooms! Good prices! The Hotel Manager is very dedicated and provides extraordinary service to make your stay the best stay possible. That's why my wife and I only use this hotel when we are in Inglewood, California .
It's not worth your money and it's not an exciting scenery! The guest are rude and workers aren't friendly at all! I was in a suite that looked like a standard room! It's hot on the elevator and hallways of them room(during COVID and delta) my room never got clean after I requested it twice!! Go elsewhere!
To start off, the check in room like 45 minutes. When I entered the room, it smelled like weed so much, it was horrible. The elevator was dirty and rusty. To open the room doors it would take like about 2 minutes to get it to work. The rooms inside are very outdated and dirty. The restroom was the worst part, when I lifted up the toilet seat, it was full of pee and the bath tub had women's hair on it when I first entered. There was strange people walking around the hallway as well. To finish it up it was expensive. I could've stayed at a better location for less money.
I was a guest in your hotel some times ago (2019) In the month of April this year, I had wrongly sent some personal items to the hotel's address and when I found out, I have been trying to contact the Hotel Front desk to locate my items but each time was different persons on the phone and no one had taken the responsibility to give me a appropriate answer. Could you please suggest me a contact of the hotel manager? Thank you
great stay, very confused by parking as its behind and in the lower level of hotel. wanted amenities that were not open but made best of what was there. other room on same floor had heavy marijuana smell but it was never addressed by front desk.
If you're looking to spend a night before going to the airport this hotel should work. The shuttle is not in service which is a bummer. The hallway smelled like weed and elevator was slow. Staff was nice. Breakfast was odd- they had a check list.
Our flight was delayed, had to check in at 1:20am, the receptionist was very kind. Nice bedding , very clean, it's better to park your car in the designated area for the registration, and unload your luggage first.
An urban hotel on a busy urban Avenue, the best western plus suites Hotel offers a straight shot into Los Angeles airport. Do you need of a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight, my wife and I spent the night here and left satisfied. The staff at the check-in was friendly and efficient. The room is spacious, clean and updated with USB ports on each side of the bed. The coffee maker came with 4K cups. The flatscreen TV was appropriately sized for the room. Our fourth floor room on the backside of the hotel was quiet. The hot breakfast served Covid style Was almost as good as a breakfast buffet. In a few days, I will need another hotel near LAX and I will be staying here again.
I had the beat birthday of my life we had a ball we got the room with the jacuzzi in it omg so fun very convenient and in a great area I would definitely refer my friends and family to come here when they visit LA
This particular Best Western is very clean and the management/staff make my visits so comfortable that I never want to leave. I can't put into words how gracious I am. Thank you Prince and staff...!!!
First time staying here had a great night lots of food near by. The young lady at the service center was very helpful.. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ill definitely be returning here.
We were flying in late and could not meet up with family until the next day. Flight got in later than planned, and LAX was "closed" but BW desk staff talked us through where to go, and the shuttle driver arrived and got us promptly to the hotel. Desk staff was friendly and quite awake for being after midnight. Room was comfortable and quiet. COVID-safe breakfast was hot and had good variety. I would not write home about the coffee, but everything else, the pillows, the shower, etc, was just excellent. We did not stick around to explore the area, but there is a 7-Eleven across the street if needed.
I was threatened with calling cops for refusing to pay extra fees for just being a few minutes pate to checkout which is illegal and disgraceful. I have stayed in hotels thousands of times but have never faced such discrimination and disrespectful behavior. I was running late for my flight and even denied the airport shuttle at the last minutes which makes this a clear case of discrimination. I was also told that my behavior is typical of my people which makes it a clear case of racism. The front desk person responsible for this disgusting behavior was named Prince and all the other staff also acted in a very ridiculous unprofessional manner. This is very serious and I need someone to look into this and do something because I'm not going to let these bullies get away with this disgusting behavior
Decent rooms. Some of the more advanced amenities. Food, shopping and things to do within reasonable distance. Parking is awful! Have to park in garage even during registering (they have 3-4 spots outside of garage that day “registration” but they have them blocked with cones.. way inconvenient, especially when traveling with small children..
I had reservation at the Best Western Plus on Century in Inglewood horrible experience110 degree heat!Upon Check-in w Jamie was ok.until she charged my card 2x The manager Prince canceled my stay because I asked for them to refund the charges especially when I gave 250$ in cash Prince the manager was racist and insensitive!I watched them give keys to other guest of white/Asian guest and all African Americans we're turned around or was told no rooms were available or waited over 3hrs for keys!! I will keep leaving reviews every week to let everyone know I see the Racism at this establishment it has to STOP!!!Prince the manager has to be retrained!!
The staff was very accommodating, friendly and caring during this time of covid. I was there to take a contractor's license test. i arrived early so the manger let me check in early so that i could get a quick nap before i took my test. I really helped.....I passed :)
Clean, kind and helpful. Large fridges and working microwaves. Cozy beds and decent views. Close to the beaches. The area is sketchy, however you are super close to the airport. Keep your wits about you if you venture out on foot. Parking in their garage is $10 a day.
Good place to stay when transiting through Los Angeles. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel is clean. The rooms have both a fridge and microwave. There is a guest laundry on each floor. There is a 7-11 store right across the street, as well as a fast-food Mexican place. There are other eateries close by. The bed is comfortable. The shower water temperature stayed steady. I noticed they advertised day rates for travelers, so I presume people who have a long layover at the airport can stay here for a partial day to get some rest.
It is old, in a rather shabby part of town, but we walked around during the day and felt quite safe. However very few places nearby to get a meal. The room was large, with a comfortable bed, hot water, clean and we were given an early checkin. They were doing a lot of work to modernise the hotel, but it did not disturb us. The shuttle worked well, but you have to go to level 3, at the red sign, not the lower level. The one problem was they did not give us a 4.30 am wakeup call which we needed to get our international flight. Alsobreakfast was rubbish.
Once again BW didn't let us down!! Our final stay in at a BW was at Inglewood in LA. We opted for the late checkout and found it to be a great price and well worth the extra money. Staff and facilities were great as with all other BW motels. Thank you USA for your hospitality during these trying times. Will see you again real soon
really nice reception staff, greeted me on arrival, put us in a room with 2 beds for no extra charge, large comfy room, good shower flow. across the street from 7/eleven, panda express, taco place and more. free breakfast ample supply, scrambled egg sausages, mexican beans, toast mufffins donuts, make your own waffles (delicious)! coffee machine for latte etc, very satisfied and close to airport.
We came here to spend one night before our flight out of LA . We were glad it was only for one night. We needed some food and went across the street. Did not feel safe at all. The room was nice and big, but the hotel is old and in desperate need of some renovation. The staff was very friendly and serviceminded, and the location is great if you need accomodation close to the airport.
I was flying out of LAX for an early morning flight and had to stay close to the airport. I was looking for something affordable since I didn't have a whole lot of time to justify the cost of some of the other hotels close to the airport. I had just left the Best Western in Rancho C so I thought I would try the one by LAX. I have to say I was impressed, first off, the location is right near many restaurants if you want to eat someplace close by. It's also close to Dockweiller Beach which was a plus as I always chill out there before my flights. The rates were really good that night and the hotel overall is a really well-maintanined property with great front desk service. The hotel itself is a little dated but very well maintained. I felt safe and comfortable walking around the hotel. The gym was small and only had a few pieces of equipment, no worries though as I was going to the beach for a run anyway. Check-in was seamless and the underground had plenty of parking. My room was very large and well kept, it had no weird smells or stains on the carpet. The bathroom was spotless and my bed was huge and very comfortable. Wifi was easy to connect to with a very good signal, so I was able to get in a few hours of laptop time. The overall experience was great and for the area, it's a great deal. What more can I say, as someone who stays in 90 + hotels a year this best Western is a keeper. I will stay here again,
Booked this via Norwegian Airlines offer and VERY impressed. Handy for LAX arrivals but we did wait a time fr hotel transport to arrive. An advance email advising a phone call we were 'waiting' would have been helpful
Excellent hotel with great breakfast, and free airport shuttle! Would definitely recommend. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance to hotel. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and pleasant. Some road noise from hwy, but still well worth the money.
Spent here just one night after the arrival flight in LA. Close to the airport, the hotel would require some update. Staff was nice, room was clean and breakfast good even if not really various. Overpriced for services offered and the check in process was a bit slow (after an intercontinental flight the only thing you want is having a shower and some rest, not spending 20 minutes at the front desk).
We stopped over in LA on our way to NY and needed somewhere for the night. This hotel provided free shuttle bus from the airport (you have to ring to get picked up) and back. Room was neat and tidy. Bed comfortable, bathroom up to standard . Not overly expensive and with an included breakfast that was not over the top but suited for travelling. Overall a pleasant stay and will stay there again.
Booked this property because it was very reasonably priced, yet still close to LAX. After clearing entry formalities, a quick phone call to the hotel and they sent the complimentary shuttle within about 10 minutes. The hotel was excellent friendly helpful staff, very large clean room featured a setee along with microwave, fridge, tv etc. It was just what we wanted after a 11 hour flight from London. The area outside the hotel is, perhaps, not the best, but we did walk to a restaurant very nearby and had a nice meal. There were also fast food places and a shop opposite. The following morning we walked to the car hire depot to save going back to the airport. It was around a 15 minute walk and we felt quite safe. We then drove back to the hotel, picked up our luggage, checked out and were straight onto the i405 which is right next door. The hotel also had a small pool and offered a good complimentary breakfast. We would definitely stay here again
The Best Western is a great hotel for a local trip. We had family coming into LA and we wanted to be centrally located to all of the activities and to the airport. After full days of Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm - we came back to the hotel to sleep and prepare for the next day. The staff was great and you can not beat the location. On Sunday morning, we literally drove 5 minutes and we were at the airport. We will be staying here again. Great property
Location is close to the airport. Room was clean, free wifi and the breakfast was good. Across the street had a 7eleven if you needed to go to a store and a few fast food restaurants close by. I was able to check in early and I checked out early. I enjoyed my stay.
Stayed here for one night with my friend since we needed to catch an early flight from LAX. Room was big and bed was ok, but everything was super old. We were really dissapointed with the breakfast. The food was okay, nothing special.. but everything was served with plastic and non-reusable cups, plates etc.. We were shocked because it is already 2020 and we should care more and more of the environmental issues!!
We had a great stay here! It was only for one night, but the staff was incredibly friendly and the room was really large, quiet and comfortable. We arrived from the LAX airport and used the free-shuttle service. It was really simple to use and the drive to the hotel was really quick. We were also able to use the free-shuttle service to go pick up our rental car the next day. This was so helpful and nice of the hotel staff to arrange this for us! The room was clean and really comfortable. It was also incredible quiet in the room! We couldn't hear any outside noise. The breakfast had a lot of tasty options to choose from. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!
I booked this hotel specifically because it said it had a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Upon arrival when I asked about the heated swimming pool I was told that it was not heated and was very cold. My kids were very disappointed and got bored very quickly in the small hot tub. I was willing to pay extra for this hotel because of the nice heated pool that it promised. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good but mattresses were not comfortable in our room and our heater made a terrible noise when it turned on.
The hotel itself was clean as they could be, the breakfast was good service good, the customer service at the front desk was not a good experience the person who was in charge a big lady was very unprofessional rude not courteous at all I have stayed at many best western hotels and the customer service at this one was unacceptable, also at check in the young lady with braces I believe was in her phone looking down ignored me until a young man came and asked if I had been helped then she looked up and asked if I was checking in I was very disappointed.....
I was charged twice and extra money for the stay, I contacted the hotel , they did not responde to my request of the money chargeback, My bank confirmed they do not responde. Nobody cares. I stayed 3 times, for the 3rd time they cheated me . Me and my company will never stay overe there anymore!
We stayed here during an overnight layover near LAX. For that purpose, it works just fine. Rooms are clean and simple. Included breakfast was decent. My main concern about this hotel is that the shuttle service, which is mentioned on its website, is unreliable and that is unfortunate because the shuttle is of the main reasons why I picked them. When arriving in Los Angeles, their website advises to use a phone from the hotel kiosk to call for the shuttle. We could find no such phone. I called the hotel directly from my cell and they told me they would send the driver our way and to wait at the hotels shuttle pickup area under the red signs outside our gate. We did wait. An hour later, nothing, EXCEPT that the Best Western Plus Suites hotel FLEW past the pickup area TWICE! We tried to flag them down how everyone else was flagging down their shuttles, but it was like they weren't even trying to look for their guests. All other hotel shuttles stopped by multiple times while we waited! I called the hotel directly again and they told me they'd send someone over. We waited for about 30 min more and eventually a Comfort Inn bus stopped and asked us “Best Western?”... we replied yes and confirmed he was going to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel TWO HOURS after landing- unacceptable considering the hotel's proximity to the airport. I'm dreading my return flight in a few days, because we're staying at another Best Western down the street for our overnight layover again and I don't want to deal with the shuttle flakiness again.
I was charged twice for my accommodation and when I queried this the next morning was told this was standard procedure and I could expect the reversal of duplication within 21 days. Great when you have just started a 3 week holiday.
Very nice area for arriving or departing from LAX, hotel vas clean and parking was a little tight small parking not great if you have a large vehicle. HOtel staff was very freindly and accomadating. I would stay again
I chose this location because it was close to the airport(about a 20 minute ride) with a free shuttle. The wait for the shuttle was longer than I would have liked. The property is clean inside and staff were okay. They do have a free simple breakfest as well. It was disapointing that they will only take you to the airport at the top of the hour. We had to go to the airport 45 minutes earlier than we needed to. The last comment I would share is the view out my window was not so good. See the attached picture.
Breakfast changes everyday. Food is delicious. You have a pass to get into the breakfast room. No loud noise at night which is great. Lots of stores across the street. McDonald's is a 4 minute walk am it's 2 stories.
Very clean, nice hotel, near to LAX. The room was large and clean. We requested a quiet room, and with the help of the front desk (Thanks Daniel) we found a room on the back on the top floor that was very very quiet. Breakfast is fine, not exceptional but saves time of finding a restaurant near LAX. We've stayed here before and will again in the future. So many hotels near LAX are very worn and old, but this hotel is well maintained.
The front desk staff were friendly and gave me an early check in at noon. There was no screen or safety guard on the window, bed was comfortable, plenty of space in the bathroom. Shuttle driver was prompt and we had no issue being picked up or dropped at LAX. Breakfast room is small but plenty of options
Great stay for the price, breakfast was good but small seating area. Pool and sauna were out of order, the agreement with Quality Inn across the street was not honored. Room service was affordable, hot and tasty.
When I tried to call for the shuttle bus I repeatedly got the message that the number was not accepting messages. Another shuttle bus driver noticed that I was having trouble and was somehow able to contact the hotel to pick me up. When he arrived after I had been waiting an hour there were nine other people waiting and I was lucky to get the last remaining seat. I am also frustrated that this hotel is still using a lot of disposable plastic items in their breakfast buffet and individual amenty containers rather than wall-mounted dispenserf of shampoo, condtioner and shower jel. Plastic is killing the Earth We all need to reject it whenever possible!
Not sure what makes this a Best Western Plus! The lobby drapes were closed which made it so dark when you entered. Our room was clean, but it smelled musty which didn't go away even after we turned on the air. The pool and jacuzzi were out of order. The breakfast was adequate. Would I stay there again...no!!! Also, we arrived an hour before our check in time and we were told that the room was available, but there would be an extra 35$ charge if we wanted to go in. So disappointed as we always stay with Best Western. Maybe time for a change.
Nice comfortable budget hotel, after 11 hrs flying it was nice to have somewhere so close to the airport car rental place ( 8 mins drive ) the check in was very rushed and not a lot explained to us ,but being tired, we weren't bothered. Our room looked out over the pool and was acceptable, typical slightly dated American 3 star hotel, with a large noisy AC unit on the wall. Bed was large and comfy, but the kids had a pull out couch, which wasn't made up, so not enough pillows and it had a waterproof under sheet, so every time one of the kids moved in the night, sounded like a crisp packet being scrunched! it was clean, comfy and above all cheap, so it was as expected. The pool was freezing, but the kids enjoyed it for one evening .The breakfast we skipped on da one as we were awake at 4.30am, but I wished we'd waited, as on the 2nd day we made it down for breakfast which was brilliant, a very small cramped room, however the choice was plentiful and wide, enough for all 4 of us to have something different and it was great quality. Make your own waffles, hot section with sausages, eggs, hashbrowns etc.... really good breakfast. Overall, a good stay, would we come back? maybe not, as we'd probably want something a little more modern, but overall it was good value and the breakfast made it above average for us.
Large, clean and well appointed room. Great location very close to LAX and rental car pick-up / return. Experienced a few service issues. Electronic key didn't work, they knew in advance and gave us a manual key which was very stiff and difficult to turn. Perhaps they could have fixed it in advance or given us a room with a working key. Card in bathroom told us not to take room towels to the pool but when we got out of the pool, soaking wet, we discovered that the towel bin was empty. Is someone not assigned to check regularly that supplies are adequate?
Nice hotel but I would never stay again. Coming off of a cruise ship to spend the day in LA. We got to our room and were told it's ready but if we want to get in now there was a 35 dollar charge. So now we couldn't change and make it to our plans. We then asked if the was a Walmart and we were told there was a target a few blocks down. After walking 40 min we asked a person if we were close they said no we should take the bus it's only 35 cents so we did.
We stayed one night on a layover. Shuttle arrived 15 minutes after calling and returned to the hotel in another ten minutes. Great service. Room was clean and comfortable. Complete selection at breakfast. I would happily stay again.
We have stopped here 3 times. The hotel is within 5 mins of LAX airport. As we fly in from the UK we need to stop somewhere close to catch up with rest and get a good sleep. The hotel is perfect and reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is provided which has been hit and miss on our stays and the breakfast room is a little dated and dull. There's a carpark under the hotel and there are pool and gym facilities, although I have never used them. Staff all approachable and helpful. The do provide a shuttle to the airport although I have never used it.
Stayed here after our long flight was a bit taken back we had to pay for parking as wasn't mentioned on booking .com one night was enough wish we had travelled a little further to get away from the noisy coming and going of people to airport all night
The staff is helpful, and room is large, but im currently here and extremely upset at the fact I know I will not sleep tonight with the traffic intersection right outside my window. I had to call the desk immediately to tell them my TV had massive scratch marks on it like a cat got ahold of it , since they took $100 deposit from me, which I need for yen currency when i get to japan tomorrow. 10hr flight I DO NOT look foward to with little sleep.along with old AC unit that I did notice in the photos, but get here and discover how loud & rattling they are the maintenance man did look at it and spray chemicals at it though. Two black hairs in my bathtub but the rest was clean.
Clean, cosy, great value for money. The proximity to the airport has no effect on sleep in terms of noise. Pleasant service. My son asked for bacon when there was none served and one of the workers cooked especially for him.
We stayed at this hotel to be close to airport for an early morning flight and for a day in LA. Normally these airport hotels can be a bit poor but this one was very good. They offer a 24 hour airport shuttle (on the hour) which was great. We had driven down route 1 and had to drop off our hire car, they offered to collect us from the rental compound, told us to ring them when ready and they were there in 5 minutes - great. We would definitely recommend this hotel. We had chosen this hotel 7 months earlier as there was a bus stop outside which would take us to the Metro to get in to LA downtown/Hollywood etc. However the Metro line had been closed for renovation. There is no Metro connection to the airport !! very poor - even Bangkok & Delhi have great connections. We wanted so see LA and had to resort to an Uber (about $13) to get us near to a Big Bus hop on/off.
Stayed at the Best Western plus suites for three days whilst in LA. Its located in Inglewood only a short drive from LAX. When i landed at LAX i called for the free shuttle bus and it was there within 10 minutes! The Hotel itself is pretty basic, and I wouldnt recommend staying for longer that a couple of days! The rooms are okay with everything you need, i didnt go down for breakfast whilst i was there so I cant comment on it. Staff were friendly & the pool and spa on the second floor were very nice after a long day of sightseeing! There are plenty of fast food places nereby & a 7/11 just across the the road along with a Liquor Store nearby! Negatives arethat there isnt much else!! $20 Uber to Venice Beach & $25 to Long Beach Cruise terminal.
We chose this hotel as it included breakfast and was close to the airport. We just wanted somewhere to chill out prior to the start of a busy week in Beverly Hills and this hotel didn't disappoint. The room was spacious for 2 adults and a child and included a handy fridge tea/coffee maker and microwave. The fridge came in really handy during our stay. The room was clean and overlooked the pool area. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the waffles were the best I've ever tasted. The hotel is also close to manhattan beach which I would recommend to anyone stopping in that area. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Our little one enjoyed the pool area and hot tub the best!
Needed to stopover near LAX so chose the Best Western Suites. Took he free shuttle from Tom Bradly Terminal. Front of House staff were efficient and check in was smooth. Decent size room, big TV with usual American TV dross. There was a pool available. Close by some fast food outlets and a quirky Mexican Restaurant provided meal options. The complimentary breakfast was very good plenty of options and no shortage of anything. Upside- Reasonable price, free shuttle, good breakfast, free Wifi, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and efficient staff Downside plenty of traffic noise Would I go back - most certainly
I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times over the last 8 years. It has a great location, very close to the LA International Airport, and the price is right. It is not glamorous, but it's a great place to plunk down after a long airplane trip (especially if you are coming in from Europe) and the staff is friendly and helpful. The parking is free as is the breakfast.
Good morning, on August 7th we land at LAX airport at 10.58 PM flight, American 245. we have a reservation at your hotel, we have problems with English, is it possible to have the transfer waiting for the exit being the first time in Los Angeles? what do we have to do ? BOOKING CONFIRMATION NUMBER: 233635746 thanking you in advance for your kind reply Sincerely
Stayed at this hotel on our road trip from WA to CA and back. Check in was easy. Walls were a little thin, but otherwise fine. Bed on the way home was super comfortable. Check out was easy. Staff was helpful and considerate. Breakfast was free and well stocked. World Cup Finals were playing on one of the days and staff accommodated our request by showing it on the TV. Guests enjoyed watching as the US Women's team played a fantastic game. Would stay here again.
Clean, friendly staff, free shuttle to airport to reduce stress about LA traffic delays, good wifi, breakfast somewhat better than at other Best Western Plus hotels. Lovely decor. Fabulous full-bodied in-room coffee (Keurig) vs other Best Western Plus hotels that have truly awful coffee (and where I was told they were not allowed by corporate BW to improve the coffee the many complaints.) Two big downsides here as with the other Best Western Plus hotels:1.) terrible polyester foam pillows if you like soft feather pillows, so bring your own (I do) and 2.) impossible to use their TV as a monitor for using your computer because their "clean" simple remote only works for TV channels and you cannot select a Source or Input button and plug into the HDMI port. Ask for the original remote that goes with the TV when you check in. they may send a tech up to your room - such a hassle for everybody.
The room smelled of stale smoke and the was no hot water available at our mid afternoon arrival. The shuttle worked well (read the fine print and call the hotel or get the info kiosk at the airport to call). We cancelled our future booking. Will try another hotel as there are plenty of choices closer to LAX.
I was in LA for a business trip and it was exactly what I was looking for. Arriving late in the evening the distance from the airport was quite reasonable. The only negative thing was the breakfast area: too small and too crowdy compared to the number of people who were having breakfast at the same time
Arrived late-ish on the Sunday evening after 4th July and the traffic was terrible so had to wait quite a while for the shuttle, but after that, everything was fine. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and well equipped with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed too. Breakfast was fairly typical for a hotel in the USA - but with a good range of options.
Chose due to distance from airport for convenience but neighbour very untidy with much rubbish though the hotel itself was very clean and well kept. Decor nice and corner room so quiet from other stayers. Bed comfy. Outdoor spar really lovely :) staff good
Location excellent after a gruelling long flight, parking $10 as expected, check in friendly and swift, however despite booking months ago our two rooms were on separate floors which was annoying. We could hear absolutely everything from the room above us, the sound proofing was poor. It is a busy hotel and we were very aware of guests throughout the night walking about, in fact that was far worse than aircraft and road noise. Breakfast was a challenge, nowhere to sit, the room is tiny and the poor guy struggled to replenish quick enough. Think we could have chosen better for our one night stay, but the staff were all nice so not all bad.
This hotel has been a wonderful place to spend a night or two pre or post flights out of LAX. The shuttle operators have been prompt and friendly. The breakfast, produced by Angel, was a spectacular way to start a busy day of sightseeing, or to hold you for a four hour cross country trip. Next time will be our fifth stay.
Our room was big and clean, although the floors was a bit sticky both in and outside our room. Our room was good we had a good time at this hotel. The minus was big gaps under our room door, where the was a whistle noise, plus the A/C was loud. Everyone from the on site parking could enter the building with no room key, even though there was a sign that it must be used for acces to the hotel. The parking was fine, there was always a parking spot for our car, but the lower floor was filled with old furniture, don't know why, and a bit odd. The breakfast was very good, we got a breakfast "card" which we where told to show when eating breakfast, on the 2nd day they took it away from us, and just told his to say our room number, but not everyday was there an employee to tell it to, so we just got in. We liked this hotel, despite its flaws.
Good place, nice room and the hotel staff is available. (Good point to Daniel) If you want to stay near the airoport it's a good place, they have a free shuttle once an hour. Near there is a 7eleven and a Denny's.
It was a nice to be away from too much noise. The breakfast was nice. I really liked the lobby view and decor. Looked very chic. I arrived too early for my check in and hsd to purchsse a 1 night additional stay. I did not find that too accomodating. Other than that, super nice staff to me. However I did see and argument with a guest and 1 of the feont desk clerk in full and loud view of everyone and that was a bit disheartening to see. I really liked the gold color on the elevator.
Stayed with my wife when our travel plans required us to get a room for a couple of extra days near the airport. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. The t.v. could have a few more channels and some sort of channel guide but not a big concern. The hot breakfast was great. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We especially liked Amy who checked us in and out and answered all our questions. Look for the Plus in Best Western and you can't go wrong.
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the airport. Their information on the reservation confirmation about some hotel kiosk and courtesy phones to the hotel in the LAX baggage area is not exact. You have to come out to the arrival hall, find the LAX information desk and ask them to call the hotel on your behalf what they do politely. Then you come out from the airport terminal and look for the red sign 'Hotel Shuttles' or so. There are hords of hotel shuttles coming in and out and you have to look for the van marked 'Best Western Plus Suites Inglewood' and wave on him. The driver is very nice to help you load the bags into the van. The ride takes just five minutes, the hotel is close to the airport. Check-in was swift and easy, they even promised to store or luggage for the day when we have to check out and need to have the bags stored while sightseeing the LA. Hotel is clean, staff is very polite and helpful. Haven't had their breakfast yet, so will see tomorrow. The room is quite large and very comfortable with bathtub, hairdryer, safe box, big TV etc. I was in the area some ten years ago, stayed at the neighboring hotel, and have to say that the neighborhood had improved a lot since. There are some fast foods just across the street and also a 7-11 shop. It's on a busy West Century Boulevard and airplanes are flying over the hotel frequently, but it is not bothering at all when you have your windows closed.
We were in LA for an overnight before a flight and picked this hotel based on proximity to the airport, free shuttle, good reviews and price. It all turned out as expected and we'd do it again. The hotel staff, from front desk to housekeeping was friendly and splendid. The room was clean and well equipped. The a/c could have been better, likely a lot to ask one of those under window units to chill such a large space. The breakfast area was crowded, but adequate, and had plenty of choices. All in all it was a good stay and met every single one of our expectations.
Had trouble checking in – the room they were going to give us was not the one I booked – my reservation was for the suite room with 2 queen beds - they said our room was for 1 queen bed but they could get us a roll-a-way bed (we had 3 adults) - told them that is not what I booked - I want to talk to their home office customer service (they were no help) it was totally out of character for me but I pitched a fit – she did give me the room I reserved but charged me an additional $25.00 - asked if they had the room why did not get it in the 1st place – was told they save those 6 room so they can give to people who can not find a place to stay late at night – at least the room was nice once we got in - the transportation to and from the airport was very good
While this hotel is not in the same neighborhood (a few blocks away) from the bigger/nicer hotels, the accommodations were clean, comfortable and very suitable for my grandson and me. Great breakfasts available. Only one elevator and airport shuttle only goes once every hour - only complaints.
Cool location very convenient to lots of eateries, very cool to see the planes coming in and landing! Hot tub could be hotter, but that's it! Breakfast was top notch. Love that the front desk supplies water bottles for guests! Thank you!!!
Highly recommended Great location right of freeway also less then ten minutes to Lax and Quiet! Gym Pool computer room parking shuttle breakfast staff there are attentive professional rooms a very clean I enjoyed my stay there.
The room was clean and was cleaned daily. The breakfast was typical American, but still delicious. The staff was always nice and friendly. I would say the location of the hotel is good cause ur in 5 mins at the Airport, but a car is recommended for your stay to see LA.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were efficient but not overly friendly. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The bed was excellent, the shower very good. Minor inconvenience was the considerable noise from the room above. Breakfast was reasonable. The shuttle service to and fromth airport and hire car depot was efficient and free. Very good value.
The smell of marijuana and vaping smoke was terrible, making my whole family nauseated. It was so strong, the smell came through the towels we stuffed underneath the bottom of the door in attempt to make a seal. I have never had this much smoke smell from a “smoke free” hotel. In the morning, it was just as strong as it was in the evening and my kids had to plug their noses in the hallway near our room. Staff sprayed air freshener, but it did not help. Between that and the noisy loud thudding coming from above, I did not sleep. Very disappointed because we've stayed in the past and did not have any issues.
Perfect overnight stay except shuttle goes every hour on the hour. I anticipated 1/2 hour. Otherwise room was well appointed, bed super comfy, mini fridge and microwave, ok bath amenities. Breakfast was very well organized and good selection. We will be back!
They have taken extra charge as authorisation fee which is still not refunded even days after I have checked out. I am Not happy with this as most hotels refund this ASAP. Apart from this the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good
We were told they had a park and fly, but they didn't but Danny was so helpful and took care of things for us. someone forgot to ring us for a wake up and we almost missed our shuttle. But, I would go back there.
We moved to this hotel for 1 night for an early flight the following morning. We didnt expect too much for the few hours we were there. The room was very spacious and clean and quiet. You can walk to numerous eateries but the area is not a great area to walk around as we discovered when we walked out to find some dinner that night. Breakfast was a good variety, and of course you have the free airport shuttle, however this shuttle runs on the hour and not on demand which was dissappointing and something we were not aware of till the morning. We were just going to call an uber in the end as we had missed the 7am shuttle and 8 am was going to be too late for us. The receptionist on duty didnt care at all when we said we will get an uber. A gentleman walking by overheard and organised a shuttle for us at 7.30. I wish i got his name he was very helpful compared to the other staff we came across.
For a short 36 hour stay, I required a clean room, Airport Shuttle, reasonable location and continental breakfast all at a fair price. The Hotel accommodated all my needs and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, being effectively a mini suite. Only complaint is the continuing preference for a shower in the bathtub. Which I find cumbersome a dangerous. Overall happy enough and I have rebooked for a return in May.
We just stayed here for a night to catch our next flight in the morning. We flew international so we were pretty tired. We wished the front desk would've been be more friendlier, helpful and know more about the airport since they offered airport shuttle. However, when we were leaving the hotel, Carlos was really nice and got us a shuttle quickly to the airport. I usually don't give recognition to anyone, but he really stood out. Thank you to him again. The breakfast was okay. Room was very spacious. Typical simple breakfast food.
We arrived very late on January 7th, 2019, around 11pm, hungry and tired. The night manager compassionately took us straight into the breakfast room to choose some things to take up to our room, and asked the shuttle driver (who had no more shuttle runs) to help us with our luggage. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and very comfortable. In the morning I was delighted to discover many choices of gluten-free food for breakfast! They have dairy-free options too! Angel, the breakfast chef, was super knowledgeable about dietary issues and very helpful. Our shuttle to the airport left right on time and safely maneuvered through LA traffic to get us to our terminal quickly. We were super impressed with all aspects of this hotel!
The location is good. Close to restaurants, especially a very good Mexican restaurant called Lalos Mariscos. The room was spacious and clean. Microwave, fridge and keyring machines. Lots of plug ins and USB ports. The main thing is the excellent customer service. We got here early and they gave us one room to hang out in while we waited for our other room. Angel is very friendly and extremely helpful. When I asked for water he brought complimentary water bottles for our entire party. He kept the breakfast room very clean and helped people with their choices. Much more help than you would usually find at a free hotel breakfast. Lesley helped us with a problem with a tour booking and then helped us book a second tour. Their help was immensely appreciated. We would definitely stay here and again. Only downfall was there was a bit of construction going on which caused the elevator to be slow but other than that we were very happy with our stay
Stayed here before so returned again because 1) they have free shuttle service to and from the airport; 2) front office staff is friendly and accommodating; and 3) Angel in the Breakfast room provides excellent service and is very friendly and efficient (I would hire him if I owned a restaurant!). Great place to stay and we'll return again.
We booked this hotel for our 8-hour lay over in LAX. The room was plenty big for us and our 3 little kids. The hotel was older but it was kept really clean. The housekeeping ladies were very responsive and they cleaned very well. Right across the street from the hotel are some restaurants: Panda Express, El Pollo Loco, etc. That was very convenient. The hotel shuttle was a 15-passenger van. It was very busy and we had to wait longer than expected. It was good value for money. It served its purpose for us.
We had to make a last minute arrangement for accommodations near LAX and arrived by shuttle with ease. Our room was very comfortable and staff exceptional! Must give Angel (and he is!) the exceptional of the exceptional rating. He was our “host” for the breakfast buffet. Upon arrival he greeted us, offered several options of waffles and made them and served them to us! Poured our coffee, cleared the table as we are and has a fabulous approach to people! There were quite a few guests when we were there, but he managed us all quite well. We return stateside in a month and have reservations on our way back!
Nice view of aircraft landing if your an aviation guy. Can see every thing landing on 25L. Quick check in and check out. Extremely friendly staff and a fantastic value for the room. Very nice rooms and interior.
Very nice hotel with airport shuttle every hour. Room was large and very clean. Didn't stay long enough to use amenities which included an indoor pool. At the gate in less than 10 minutes. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The room was very "suite-like" for a very good price. The staff was nice and friendly. My go-to for an affordable getaway. The bed was also comfortable and free breakfast is always a plus. Seconds away from the airport and freeway too so very convenient.
Staff very amiable. The staff taking care of breakfast was helpful and diligent. Shuttle driver very quiet, but very helpful...always smiling. Fast food across the street was very convenient. Bus stops just in front of hotel.
Very great experience, nice view from hotel, nearby lots of other restaurants, morning breakfast was delicious. Thank you Angel for the fast and friendly experience. I would recommend to anyone visiting or exploring.
Another airport hotel ...Pretty standard but breakfast in the morning is complete and surprisingly good. Shout out to Silver and the rest of the morning crew who gave great service. Great value and very central location
We were there for a 1 night layover. The shuttle service was a little slow. It took 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive after we called for a pick up. We saw most hotel shuttles come around several times before ours arrived. I'd requested a quiet room when I made the reservations. I was so tired when we arrived that I forgot to reinforce the request. Room 225 was anything but quiet. Airplanes are very noisy overhead taking off. The room was clean and roomy but the bed was a bit hard. The staff was very nice and the buffet was outstanding for a hotel buffet. It was the best buffet I've had at any hotel with many hot and cold options. Also we were told at check in that the shuttle leaves on the hour every hour and even if we arrived at 5 minutes before the hour it would be no problem. Yet when arrived for breakfast which opened at 6:30am we found the shuttle leaving at 6:40.
We stayed here 7th October, Jo in front desk is very friendly and helpful. She has a warm heart, she makes our staying like home.We arrived earlly in the morning, she kindly tell us we can have breakfast and she walked to breakfast room and gave us the room key soon. She is so nice, friendly and resposible for her job. So we decided to stay here again immedietly. We cancelled Hampoton hotel reservation of December, and booked another 3 nights to stay here, because we like Jo. When we finished our travel and come back in December,my foot got fracture during travel, I can not walk. Jo took the wheelchair to me immidietly and arranged a disabled room for us.We are very satisfied with her excellent service.Customer relationship is most important for hotel,Jo is trying her best to make custormer satisfied. She has warm heart and love her job.We want the hotel owner to know that she or he has a good staff. The breakfast room staff are all very friendly and helpful. We will come back and stay here again.
Very noisy property. Front desk nice but incompetent. They told me my orbitz reservation didn't cover parking and we're going to charge me $20/night. I agreed. Then 6 weeks later I get a call at 11:15pm on a Sunday night telling me they never charged me and we're now going to charge me. I don't remember if they did or didn't, but regardless, I'll never return to this property.
This was a nice place to stay. The parking for check in is very tiny. Be careful.. parking on site was good. Clean and comfortable. You can walk across the street to 7-11 or food at a couple options. Breakfast was good. Standard hot or cold breakfast. Very convenient location.
Very close to airport - clean and neat rooms. However no restaurant in hotel and local area is not great for walking especially at night. We took a taxi to nearby Westin Hotel for Happy Hour menu. Front staff helpful. Easy free shuttle to LAX every hour on the hour. And, oh, yes, car rental return is super close too.
The location of the hotel to the airport was very ideal and the noise levels were better than expected. The staff were extremely helpful especially at Breakfast where the server actually made me Waffles and brought them to my table. Little touches like these make an impact and from start to finish this was the case. Very very impressed.
Stayed here twice this month. Last night I stayed before flight to Cancun. The reception staff were good on arrival I decided to go to the airport early and was going to miss breakfast Silver offered me a early continental breakfast. He was very attentive and helpful and a good Ambassador for BW Carlos on early morning reception was also very helpful and both are a credit to themselves and Best Western This is the 3 rd time I've stayed with BW twice in LA and once in Las Vegas I would definitely looking book a BW hotel again Thanks
We were ready to give a 5 star rating all the way up to check out. Check out with Destiny and Jo was horrendous... and I'm seeing other reviews that this isn't new behavior for them. Management, please address their absolute rude tone and lack of any customer service sense at all towards your customers or you will lose business in the future. They made it our fault we didn't know about a fee for parking that the lady giving out the parking pass previously didn't mention at all. It wasn't even the fee, it was how they handled it that was so awful. Literally every other staff member we crossed paths with was amazing, the swing shift front desk man, the housekeeping, the staff working the breakfast room, the shuttle driver. All amazing and the facility was great. Jo and Destiny handled a simple miscommunication in such an unprofessional fashion that a simple “I'm sorry you were given misinformation” kindly could have solved better. As well as just slowing down and listening to a customer and showing some respect. Again, rest of the staff and amentifies were amazing. It's too bad these two staff members can bring down an entire experience.
Had a wonderful experience at Best Western Inglewood. Best continental breakfast we've ever had, 24-hour free airport shuttle service to/from LAX, clean and comfortable room. The members of staff we met were incredible and made our stay so enjoyable and care-free. Carlos greeted us warmly when we arrived late at night and made us feel very welcome, and Angel who was working at breakfast during our stay. These guys really took pride in providing the best service possible, and were super professional and friendly. Thank you Carlos and Angel - you are the reason we'll come back to Best Western next time we're in town!
Best Western Plus in Inglewood is a pleasant place to stay. Carlos S. was very helpful and made sure that we was aware of the many services that the hotel had. Thanks for making our visit to CA a great experience. -North Carolina
My wife and I recently spent 1 night in this hotel after arriving in LA on a flight from London. The hotel does not operate a regular shuttle service from LAX, but requires passengers to call the hotel upon arrival and await the bus to arrive. Unfortunately, it took the best part of 40 mins for the bus to arrive after we called - far too long even when taking into account the heavy traffic. Upon arrival at the hotel (after a short transfer in the shuttle) we were very warmly greeted and were allocated a spacious room on an upper floor. The room was fine for our needs, but was looking a bit tired in places. After a good night's sleep we availed ourselves of the perfectly acceptable complimentary breakfast (the breakfast room was far too small and very crowded, though), checked out and took the 9am shuttle bus (they run hourly from the hotel) and, rather than going to LAX, the driver kindly dropped us off at our car rental depot. Service from the hotel staff was really excellent.
We stayed here the night before a flight out. It was clean, comfortable and with a helpful staff and we decent breakfast. It's very near I-405 but noise wasn't a problem. The airport shuttle only ran on the hour, so we took Lyft to the terminal, which was a good idea given the congestion at the airport.
Overall not bad. It's not a 4 star place so don't expect perfection. Shuttle service was good, they even dropped me off and picked me up at the car rental place. Breakfast was standard, nothing special but also not bad. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was rock hard. Ok maybe not that hard but it was like sleeping on a mattress pad on a hard floor. My view was of the apartment building nextdoor, about 5 feet away. Overall I would reccomend this hotel for airport convenience but not a vacation.
Angel was the first face I saw when I walked into the breakfast. He was alert and welcoming to my family, made us blueberries waffles with whip cream and strawberry on top. He was simply great and manage to multi task and help other guest that were coming in to eat.
We waited outside the terminal and waited for the promised transportation.... 3 phone calls (which cost us about $ 10) and each time we heard the same practical story "The driver is on your way to you...." Finally, we took a taxi on own expense and arrived at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, receptionist, with total indifference, did not seem too excited ... Receptionist did not even notify the same imaginary driver that the passengers "was on their way to you" have already arrived independently, which means that there never was a driver. There are plenty of good hotels in LA Airport area. STAY AWAY
The hotel is far from the airport (not short) and the hotel's shuttle service is not functional!!!. After waiting over an hour for the hotel's shuttle, we decided to take a taxi The receptionists and the hotel manager and Best Western's customer service also ignored our request for a refund The manager of the hotel wrote us that the shuttle is actually complimentary and not guaranteed - This is not what is written on the hotel's website!!!!! Consider in the cost of the room also the cost of taking a taxi See also other reviews here on this website with a low score - Everyone is talking about poor customer service Unfortunately, a written appeal to the members of the management of Best Western did not help (Customer Care file 181004-0533) - apparently this is the level of the customer service they provide Also, turning to managers at BW did not help: icarereflections@bestwestern.com, david.kong@bestwestern.com, bruce.wienberg@bestwestern.com, ron.pohl@bestwestern.com Following is a description of the full event: • We called the hotel as soon as we arrived and told them that we had arrived and where are we. the hotel asked us to go to the point where all the shuttles of all the hotels stops. Moreover, the hotel said that the shuttle was heading in our direction. • It was late, the receptionist who spoke with us had to take some responsibility and check whether the shuttle really went out and how long it would take and reflect this clearly and allow us to choose whether to wait or call a taxi. • We waited nearly half an hour and then called the hotel again. • It should be noted that at this stage we have already seen more than one round of shuttles of all the other hotels around, so that this hotel's transportation did not meet the rate of arrival of other hotels in the area. • In the second call we told the service representative that we wanted to know what was going on with the shuttle service and how long it would take for the transportation to arrive, since we are after a flight and it is late and if the ride does not arrive soon we will take a taxi. • It seems that the receptionist did not even ask the driver what was happening, and he just told us - he has to come to you in a minute, this answer misled us, if he really was inquiring and understands that there is a very large delay (for any reason) then we were already at this point choose to take a taxi. • We waited another 20 minutes, during which time a BW vehicle arrived and we loaded the suitcases on it but a second before we had to ride, the driver said that he belonged to another hotel and therefore could not take us (contrary to what the hotel manager wrote in her reply). You can understand the frustration and the aggravation • Many transportation services passed us, people came and went to the transportation services of all the hotels in the area and only we remained on the platform • We called the hotel for the third time (i would like to point out that we did not find the counter from which to call the area of receipt of luggage (as indicated on the website of the hotel) and therefore we had to call an international-long distance call all these times) • A minute before we called the hotel for the third time, we saw the hotel's shuttle service passing us on a far lane from us and not stopping!!!, my partner star to run after him trying to see if he was stopping down the road, but the driver did not stop and my partner came back sweating. • The hotel representative told us for the third time that the shuttle service was close to us and should already be with us • At this point we would like to point out that we waited for over an hour and therefore the claim that the shuttle service passes through the airport regularly every hour at the hour is not correct, because we waited over an hour and also crossed the time of an hour at the hour. • I do not know if anything happened that evening that caused traffic congestion or it is the nature of the hotel's regular shuttle services, but in any case it is clear that at this point the receptionist who spoke with us three times had to tell us that there is a problem or at least understand it. We note that the taxi arrived quite quickly to the hotel without traffic problems • When we arrived at the hotel we announced that we had finally taken a taxi because the ride had not yet arrived • The receptionists did not even bother to call the driver and tell him we were already in the hotel and there was no need to pick us up - This explains more than anything the conduct of the hotel staff. • The hotel representative who took care of us was completely indifferent to the problem • We showed her the taxi invoice and she just said the manager would be tomorrow and if we wanted her to keep her the taxi invoice and give it to the manager or we wanted to give it to the manager tomorrow. • Then, when we got out of the room and got out of the elevator, we saw the receptionists talking and laughing at us • While we were checking out, no one asked us or told us anything about it • It was early in the morning, so we did not see the manager there, and unfortunately, we did not hear from her afterwards either If it is a deceptive exercise of the hotel to attract customers even though it is a distance from the airport and becomes less worthwhile (especially for those who came for one night) then all your future customers should know this and we will consider write it on the familiar review websites for the following potential guests of the hotel.
For staying down town Los Angeles, this area is quiet and friendly staffed For sure check out the complimentary breakfast. Angel the breakfast attendant was great, we walked in he sat us down and got everything we needed or wanted. Good was great and hot. Prompt service and frendly.
Dannis The manger is rude and racist person! They try to take advantage on our language and basically treat us as animals. They tried to charge us for blood stain that was on the bed! The worst hotel in the area
We spent one night here prior to a cruise. The hotel was adequate for our needs. The first room we tried had the smell of a smoker so we were given another room on the top floor. It was clean and quiet and met our needs. In retrospect I wish we had requested the second floor as it had access to the pool and spa which were on a roof level balcony. I didn't use them but would have if we were on the second floor. The elevator was quite slow in this hotel. The breakfast was very good and was a major highlight for us. Lots of options and good quality food. Very good Mexican Restaurant right next door was the other highlight. Casa Gamino is the name and it is right next door which was great as the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Food was great and the price was very good too. Across the street from the hotel is a 7-11 and a liquor store and I was able to buy a couple of bottles of wine for the cruise at a good price there. While this was a budget hotel and not in the league of the Hilton or Starwood we felt comfortable and were not isolated like you are in the larger hotels. I figure we saved well over a hundred dollars by staying here and it met our needs very well. The staff were friendly and quickly offered to give us a different room when we asked. Check in and out were efficient and the airport shuttle worked out very well for us.
This place was short distance from Los Angeles International Airport, we called the hotel from the arrivals hall for the shuttle bus. We arrived about 18:30, the bus arrived within about 20 mins. Checkin was very quick, with friendly staff. Room was fresh & clean, also a good size. The breakfast was hot & cold buffet, it is what you would expect. There is a few places to eat near by, but is some way out city centre (Hollywood/downtown). Check out was smooth & quick. It is also close to the car rental services.
We didn't have a hotel reservation when going in and out of LAX for a weekend concert in Anaheim at the Honda Center. Our agent at this hotel, Carlos S, was really nice and very knowledgeable about the area. We got 30min of extra sleep due to his advice that leaving the hotel at 6am for a 7:50 flight would be plenty of time. Have always preferred Best Western for their comfortable, clean rooms and reasonable rates, and will be staying here again for LA area trips.
My boyfriend and I were in town for an event so we only stayed for one evening. We did not return to our room until 1am. It was a Saturday evening and we were able to sleep peacefully through the night. The check in and check out process were both quick and pleasant. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly especially Carlos who was very pleasant and emitted a positive energy. Originally we were going to go on our way without eating, but Carlos suggested that we sit in for breakfast before we left and I am so grateful for his suggestion. We ended up going into the breakfast area and we were immediately greeted with a smile by Yolanda. She saw that my boyfriend and I were interested in making a breakfast sandwich and without hesitation came over and demonstrated how to make one of the most tastiest sandwiches I have ever had from a hotel. Both Carlos and Yolanda's positivity helped made our long morning trip back home much more pleasant. Next time we are in town we will definitely be staying at Best Western Plus!
Disappointed with the stay - I picked it for location and shuttle bus which worked out alright. On the plus side the staff were friendly helpful and professional. However, the room was dated, the shower water pressure was poor, the double glazing did not keep the noise of the road and Airplanes out, the air con unit was very noisy and I was woken through the night with people in the corridor (2am, 3am) The wind also whistled though my closed door until I went out and closed the window in the communal area. I won't stay here again, I will pay an extra $20 per night to stay in one of the better hotels.
We stayed with kids and elders. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Management was very nice. They helped us with water bottles etc that were last minute miss from our packing. Also special mention about breakfast. It was good variety with healthy choices. My parents find it hard to get suitable breakfast at hotels given their diet restrictions. They are vegetarians so that reduces options. Usually I accompany them to breakfast but that morning, they tried breakfast on their own. Ms Yolanda, who helped them with breakfast was simply superb. She was very considerate, could understand their condition and helped them with apt breakfast choices. She and mom communicated so well despite the fact that my mom doesn't speak English. I guess we all have something to learn from Ms Yolanda about communication, and hospitality. Kids were happy too with all the fruit and vegetarian protein choices. Thanks for making our trip so energetic and easy!
Great staff - really friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. They even called 30 minutes into my stay to check all was OK. Good-sized room with excellent facilities (fridge, microwave, coffee etc). Comfortable bed. Breakfast fine, if a little cramped, but it was included in what was a very good-value rate. Excellent shuttle to and from airport, and only 20 minutes from Santa Monica by Uber (light traffic admittedly).
A short drive away from the LA Forum, I chose this for lodging for a few nights. Parking garage with complimentary self parking. Check-in and hotel staff were fine. 7-11 store across the street from hotel. Although on a main thoroughfare and right next to the freeway, as well as LAX just down the street, noise wasn't so bad with the AC on. Outdoor pool. Room wasn't huge but not tiny either. Clean and comfortable and convenient.
Stayed here for one night after landing in LAX, very short drive from the airport which is what we needed. Room was fine and breakfast was ok, it suited our needs. You have to pay to park and check in was a bit painful for some reason. I would stay here again though, no major complaints.
We stayed at this property and didn't know what to expect. We only good surprises. First of all, we could easily park our rented car for a small fee. Next, the staff was extremely helpful and professional. A big shout out to Carlos and Lesley for being so wonderful. Best Western should be proud of such employees! The room was spotless, large and comfortable. The breakfast (served from 5:30am!) was fantastic! Didn't expect waffles. Great job, Best Western!
If you are in transit and would need to stay for the overnight this is a very good choice. Close to the airport, good front desk, goons are big and a nice variety for breakfast. Free coffee and fruits available during the day. They also offer a free shuttle from and to the airport. For a pick up from the airport, call them as soon as you can because it can take 20-30 minuets to come and take you. Good value
Stayed here after flying in from Ireland before driving to Las Vegas next morning, have to say check in was quick and easy and the girl checking us in was very pleasant and nice, the complimentary breakfast the next morning was very nice with a big variety, would I stay here again yes
From our arrival Carlos was very helpful getting us to our room, giving sound advice on area restaurants. We arrived from overnight flight and it was nice getting a no hassle place to recover.Well done....make sure to try the Mexican restaurant next to Hotel....amazing
The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff are so helpful.. had problems with key passes but easily resolved. Breakfast is okish variety of cereals but could do with more hot food. Pool area is lovley not to deep for kids and a jacuzzi. For basic 1 night stay this is lovley.
This Hotels very close (5min), to the rental car stations. The suites are clean and have god size to stay longer. There is also a jacuzi and a kitchen. There are also a liquor store and a handfull foodstore a cross the street. Also perfect after a long flight. So i recomend it.
We might have expected something a bit sharper? The hotel is a bit dated but still it's comfortable and well located to LAX. The staff were very helpful and the shuttle was a great feature for us as we were transiting. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and having a swim. YMMV
The hotel itself is allright. The breakfast was very nice. The location is close to the airport but not in the best part of town or comfortable walking to anything of interest. Our room was comfortable enough. The pool was not the cleanest and the hottub was slightly green. I was annoyed that the stairs in the lobby were always locked since I like to walk the stairs. The key card is supposed to open it but it wouldn't. Two employees told me they've had that problem for awhile. Our tv kept having problems. I told the front desk and they were supposed to check it to have it fixed. When we left it still wasn't working. I told the front desk when I checked out and they didn't offer any kind of discount. Disappointing!!
very close to the airport, fastest checkin/ checkout. the floor of the room, meanwhile could not be seen, need to be cleaned, as the most of the Hotels in USA, there are no service to carry in /out your luggages
This hotel is a little older, but excellent in every way. Especially good is the friendly, non-assuming service by all the employees. The room was comfortable, buffet breakfast adequate, and pool/hot tub a nice add on. We did have to wait a while for the airport shuttle to arrive, and one thing about the building is that the ventilation fan is on all the time in the bathroom, which is a little noisy. We were moved to another room, but it was the same problem.
We got in late to LAX and arrive after midnight. We went very impressed when arrived at our room. Everything looked like it needed a refresh. Lights in the room had a florescent hue. Had to to search for an outlet to plug my phone in. All I could think of was that there were a few more upscale brands we had passed that were closer to the airport. But, it was late and we fell asleep. The morning breakfast was not fancy, but was sufficient and filling. Ok, I liked it. Overall, not bad for what it is. Guess I'm too used to staying in higher tier hotels. I can't say it was as good as other reviewers suggest. But it gave us a low frill place to crash.
I chose this hotel for its free airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast and good reviews. Unfortunately I had a 13 hour layover in LA from Honolulu to London so I decided to spend the night at a hotel instead of waiting in the airport for my flight home. I decided to pay a little more than I normally would have for this hotel but it was worth the money as I didn't have to worry about a thing. I called the hotel when I arrived into LAX and the driver came to pick me up within 15 minutes. Check in was quick and easy and the girl at the front desk was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable with a BED BUG FREE bed. Breakfast was available from 5:30am the next day and there was a wide range of fruits and pastries offered. The staff working the breakfast area ensured it was clean and tidy and constantly refilled the food stations. Check out was easy and I had booked the shuttle the night before to take me back to LAX at 9am. The service was very reliable and straight forward which was perfect! I was able to get a good night's sleep before continuing my journey home. I would definitely stay here again if I'm connecting via LA.
Angel and Yolanda were amazing people. The breakfast that was given to guest was okay but the fact that angel was making waffles for the kids made it amazing. Yolanda went around to ask if anyone else would need anything else. While the front desk were not as nice as them I appreciate there work.
Call when you arrive, the airport shuttle is 24 hours, Danny front desk was great, cheerful, and helpful. Alicia Pilido front desk was welcoming. Initially my lock wouldn't open, DAnny said he'd help if it didn't open, and it did. The room was cleN, comfortable bed, love the pillows might want to get one. Slept really well. Great shower. Breakfast included was yum. Great service with a smile. Food always replaced, things cleaned. Impressive. Will stay here again.
Hotel,Staff, Amenities all good..Not worth the rate due to location The fourth star was earned by the breakfast room staff.. Very personable, and helpfull. The room was clean and presentable. Also very quiet.
Chocolate waffles, Nutella packets and other goodies I've never seen anywhere else at a PAID breakfast much less a free one. I have 5 kids and a staff member (Yolanda) was very friendly to them and helped them all get waffles made and other food items. Certainly did not need to do that but a huge help to the parents! Never had that happen anywhere else before. Clean and nice place also. Helpful staff, great food and great place. Thanks again Yolanda!
We needed an affordable hotel near LAX that had a shuttle and was of good quality. This hotel had it all. We were pleasantly surprised by excellent service and a good standard of room for an overnight.
Very nice hotel near LAX. Good amenities and service. Have to call for shuttle pickup at LAX and returns every hour on the hour. Decent breakfast served in the morning. Quiet at night. Don't think I heard any of the planes landing or taking off.
Stayed here on 10-11 Jun 18. A very ideally located hotel, close to LAX. Room was neat and tidy. Good spread at breakfast.Special mention of Mr Ansel, the steward, for courteous service. However, need to improve the room service a bit
We stayed overnight for a quick trip to LAX and a 6AM flight. Staff were nice and helpful. The room, however, was totally unacceptable. Upon entering our “non smoking” room we were hit with a wave of old cigarette smoke that was so intense and so ingrained in walls, carpet, etc, and there was a no-so-subtle undertone of old urine. I was surprised that any hotel would sell this as a nonsmoking room for $250 on a weeknight. I called down immediately and asked to be moved, but all they could offer was “deodorant spray” - nothing would cover that smell, even if our asthma could tolerate more chemicals in the air. The next morning I complained and the hotel manager immediately said they would refund the price of the night (thank you) but that we'd have to work through Expedia since that is where we made the reservation. Mysteriously Expedia then told us the hotel was only offering a 50% refund. So, staff were helpful and nice. Room was terrible. Parking was limited but we got a space. I would stay away from this one in the future just on the terrible room. I don't know if the other rooms are better and the one we had was an outlier. Not willing to risk it again.
Instead of our son bringing us on the day of me and my wife's flight home we decided to stay at this Best Western. My son decided to book a room with his family also.I am a member so as Gold Card member I got an upgrade on the room. That was nice. We only stayed for one night but everything about the hotel I liked.Free shuttle to and from LAX. I recommend this hotel to anybody needing a hotel next to the airport.
We stayed here for a short layover of 7 hours before our flight to Australia today. The girls at check in were fantastic and asked us if we needed a return ride to LAX and also advised us of a couple of places to have a light meal. I did not get their names but they are like this it is a credit to the management. Will happily stay here again when required. Will also recommend to people I like.
My husband and I stayed here the night before our trip, as we had an early flight the following morning. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the price was fair and it is less then 2 miles from LAX. Breakfast was also included, which was great. Staying here the night before, really started our trip off right. I would stay here again.
Staff here was killer. You're in good hands if Brittany is working the day you check in or have anything you need to bring up with front desk staff. She was easy going and let us check in early to drop off our stuff to the room so we could enjoy the rest of LA. Breakfast was an average continental experience and the only thing I have to say is the day we visited the outdoor jacuzzi was yellow and had a thin film of bubbles which prevented us from even dipping our toes.
Excellent services, staff are very friendly and very helpful. The room is very clean. Love the Jacuzzi in the room. Breakfast is also great with many varieties of selections. Food is very fresh and the area is very clean
We stayed at this hotel 1 night prior to an early flight. I am a BW member, and frequent this chain. I have NEVER had an issue and NEVER received such horrible service. We arrived about 6:30pm, close to my daughter's bedtime. When we got there, the 2 receptionists apparently needed to assist checking in 1 person at the same time. We were standing in line, my 1 year old wasn't quiet...we were obviously there and yet, we were not assisted or even glanced at. By the time the gentlemen in front of us got checked in, we were assisted by 1 receptionist. The other receptionist became suddenly super busy. Anyway... the receptionist who checked us in, Christina, I believe her name was, advised of the overnight parking charge. I was shocked and said "I wasn't aware of the parking fee." I just get stared at. I wasn't trying to get it waived... I don't have a problem with it. But at least update your website. I also need to note we had a crib request. Christina told us it was a $15 a night for the crib. Now I am annoyed because this too was not on their website, and Christina looks at me, and in the flattest voice you can imagine, says "So do you want it or not?". Yes, I do, my baby doesn't sleep with us. We get to our room, not bad. Run down, but still, we are there for 1 night. Typically I don't have time to put our luggage down and unpack before a crib is brought up to my room. So we unpack, get my daughter ready for bed... 30mins later, we still have no crib. So my husband goes down to get something from the car, and inquire about the crib. When he comes back he tells me he was told they are "looking for the crib". WHAT!? Meanwhile, our toilet didn't flush, so I called down to the front desk to request someone come fix our toilet, and I ask about the crib. I was told the same thing, they are looking for the crib. I wish I remembered the woman who helped us because she was ATTITUDE. 15 mins go by, still no crib. No update, either. My husband takes a turn calling down to the front desk. The same rude woman tells him they are trying to find the crib, there is no ETA, they don't know where the crib is. He asks her if we will be charged for the crib and the woman replies "I never charge anyone for cribs." Wait...WHAT!? We were told there was a charge. So my husband tells her we were told there was a $15 crib fee, why were we told that? The woman is annoyed at this point too, and replies that she doesn't know. ANOTHER 30 MINS GO BY and we still do not have our crib. I need to add that my daughter does not sleep with us, and she won't sleep unless confined. She thinks adult beds equal play. Trust me, I wish it was different. We tried cuddles and everything. She wouldn't go to sleep. At this point I go down to the lobby. I ask the 2 receptionists who I had been speaking with on the phone, the tough lady on the phone disappears, and suddenly becomes sweet. *insert eye roll here*. I ask what's going on, she advises they are waiting on the shuttle driver (yes, the LAX shuttle driver), to "put together the crib". I am not going to lie. I was annoyed, I was curt, I was rude. I asked if we checked out of the hotel right at that moment (8:30pm now), if we would be charged. She said she would call her superior (I have a feeling this woman was the manager of this particular BW property). I told her I would wait in the lobby while she called. So I sit down, she picks up the receiver, and MAGICALLY the driver appears and the crib is ready and "will be brought right up". Give it another 15 mins, and we finally got our crib. We were not charged for the crib, nor the parking, however. I am in customer service, and I have NEVER been in a situation where hotel staff was as rude as this BW location. While this hotel offers breakfast, airport shuttle, and close proximity to LAX...it's just not worth it. I will commend the night staff, however, because at about 2am, the room above us decided to have a jumping on the bed contest, which effectively woke all of us up. My husband called to the front, requested they asked to be quiet, and within 5-10mins, the noise stopped.
I was there for three days, the first moment I met Angel and Martin serving breakfast smiling and taking care of you as if that we are at their home,my son said (dad I love this place.)what ever I say about Angel is not enough,I called the hotel before a month to arrange the reservation,Kristina helped me and convince me to book in her amazing way to book a room in the hotel,I didn't know that she is Angels wife .she also helped me how to use Lyft App. If I come again to the hotel,Angel and Kristina will be the main reason to come again. Pleasssssssse the boss must let these two in higher positions and promote them and let them to train others staff how to receive guests. Big thank you and my hugs for both of them My phone is(425) 345-7016 if you like to ask me anything Ahmed
We stayed there for two nights, before we took over our RV. The breakfast is enough to fill you up, but everything there (plates, cups, cutlery )is made out of plastic which is annoying to a european. There is only one very slow elevator. The gym is very basic. The pool is tiny and not heated. The room had a good size. There is a seven eleven right across the road and some fast food places. The hotel shuttle which picked us up from the airport made us wait for 50 minutes while it only takes only ten minutes to the hotel!
Very impressed with this hotel. Rooms are fabulous, comfortable beds, modern and updated bathrooms, great breakfast, great service, reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Free shuttle to the airport. Staying overnight for a flight to Hawaii from Jacksonville Florida, this was a great place to rest our heads for upcoming flight. If and when we do another cross Pacific flight, we will be staying at this place.
We booked our vacation as a package, having no prior experience in LA, and ended up in a sketchy motel down the road, we immediately checked out and went to Best Western Plus, the service was absolutely amazing. Christina at the front desk made everything so easy and was beyond sweet. For breakfast Ansel was working in the lobby and was amazing. He offered to carry food to the table, and was very helpful and sweet. Overall amazing experience. Also the pool is on the rooftop and has a cute view. Would 100% come back here.
Nice hotel, everything felt clean and the room was spacious with a couch which is more than most. For breakfast I had the nicest gentleman, Angel, make my red velvet waffles and help me out with coffee when I thought they were out. Very personable, I'm impressed with the courteousness and helpfulness I received here.
We stayed here for one night in between flights. Our stay was fantastic! Everyone working there were very friendly and customer oriented. Shuttle service was prompt and free! Check in was fast (thank you Leslie). Breakfast was very good. The gentlemen working at breakfast were busting their tails to keep everything stocked and clean. Finally, the two ladies working the morning went out of their way to help me print a travel document and then later scanned it for me so I could email it. If I ever need an LAX hotel, it will be this one.
The hotel was nice and the staff was pleasant. It was clean and the room had a fridge and microwave. We had to leave at 5am and the staff had breaskfast out. The hotel was located close to the airport.
I was impressed by the way We were treated during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They costumer service is awesome and they make you feel at home I'm planning to go back to this hotel in October this year.
Very good hotel to stay, convenience to go visit all other location, good customer service, friendly staff when need assistant. Shuttle service is on time and professional. It was valuable for what you paid
After flying in from Miami Hubby and I only needed hotel accommodation for two nights before flying back home to London so we chose BW. The hotel as said before is old and our room had a very musky smell. We kept the AC on high to get rid of the smell. Housekeeping was very good, front desk very good and breakfast very good with plenty of variety. Nice roof top pool. BW served our purpose of being near to LAX Airport and having the shuttle bus was an added bonus.
amenities are awful. elevator is slow and antiquated. breakfast is some cheap chorizo. but their service is satisfactory. parking is horrible. its just old and overpriced. and dont forget the charge for parking
This is my second stay at this hotel and tho the area isn't fancy, the hotel itself is pretty nice and well kept. House keeping cleaned my room super well every day and breakfast had various option. My check in experience was great as well. I think the young man's name was Daniel that helped me.
The shuttle driver was efficient. Very nice front desk folks. Good selection of breakfast food. Daisy & Martin in the Breakfast Room were very kind and kept the area clean. They gave us suggestions as to what was within walking distance of the hotel. They are true ambassadors for the hotel
Convenient for LA Airport with good shuttle service. Comfortable room. Mexican next door. Otherwise difficult to find a restaurant nearby We had takeaway from opposite hotel which after a long flight was fine
I booked this Hotel on Bookings.com. for myself and 2 friends, we had been travelling for our first time around USA and this was our last location before we departed back home to Australia. I would like to thank the young Lady Elissa for her upmost & professional customer service that we had received in our entire travels of America, she is a wonderful asset to her Manager and the rest of the lovely staff at the Hotel. Elissa thankyou for the early check in and all your help with our excursion the next day of Los Angeles , we loved it. The Rooms were very Large and Clean and the Hotel was Non Smoking, the complimentary Breakfast that they offered would have been extra nice if we had of got out of our comfy beds a little earlier before our Excursion. The Foyer of the Hotel was very comfortable with lots of Seats and the offer of fresh fruit and Tea & Coffee making area. The Location was perfect , close to the Airport with a complimentary Airport Shuttle both ways & take away shops straight across the road. We would highly recommend this Hotel and the wonderful Staff and will be sure to return on our next trip to Los Angeles. Thankyou Elissa and Staff & the Polite Bus Driver you made our stay a pleasant one and the customer service we received was out standing.
I booked this room due to an early flight the following morning. It was close to the rental car return and had on-site parking for $10 per night. The room had what I needed and was clean. Unfortunately, I had to get to the airport before breakfast opened, so I could not take advantage of it. I would stay here again if I need to keep a similar flight schedule next time.
After 12 hours of flying I was looking forward to a quiet night. Jaded, I drove along Century Blvd searching for a hotel with a vacancy and a reasonable room rate. To call Best Western Suites Hotel unattractive is harsh, but I can't see it picking up any design prizes. On a positive note, its rooms are big and it has shops directly across the road. I was grubby from the flight and the hotel Serac. I felt instantly worse after paying a $164 plus $10 for parking. On entering my room, I mean suite, I was instantly assaulted by the hums: The air con was rumbling away. The bathroom had a heavy breathing air recycler, the fridge was fighting to get noticed and outside my window the steady flow of traffic adding to the choir. Yet the ensemble was only completed with the ice machine in the corridor outside my door groaning incessantly. In my jet lagged half sleep state I was longing to be back in economy somewhere over the Atlantic.... If the Americans say they don't do torture... Don't believe ‘em.
I arrived late in the evening after being messed around by another hotel close by. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and I was checked in and settled in my room within 10 minutes of arrival. The room was clean and spacious. I did find it a little noisy (traffic noise and noise from other guests in the room above) but I still managed to sleep ok. Staff had prepared a grab and go breakfast for me as I had an early flight, which was nice. Free airport shuttle service was convenient and the driver polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
We chose this hotel as it has free shuttles to the airport. There's a free phone (large touch screen one) to the left of the exit door from Tom Bradley terminal to call for the shuttle. Room was good size, clean and breakfast was good. As we had an evening flight the next day, the staff were quite happy for us to use the pool after we had checked out until we were ready to leave.
Only my second stay at a Best Western and I would absolutely stay here between flights! Staff and accommodations are great and the free shuttle to LAX icing on the cake! I have now joined their Rewards Program. You should too??
We went to stay for the night, room was okay but the AC was quite noisy, nevertheless we had a good sleep. Staff was very helpful and attentive to the guests during the busy breakfast time. We dont eat pork and all they only had ham as protein, i asked the staff if they have anything else, he then offered to cook some turkey sausage for us. It was nice extra service!
My wife and I selected this hotel for a two night stay 12th -14th March, the shuttle was extremely useful. Very friendly staff, huge quiet, clean room, #209 and a good breakfast. The beds were a bit firm, but that is personal taste. We used it as a rest stop after a long flight, so the fact that there were not a lot of attractive places around did not fuss us. Small eateries, easily accessed did the job for us. During our stay the elevator was out of action, our bags were carried up for us. We purchased a full day tour from the hotel and whilst we have been before, we really enjoyed it.
I liked the hotel. No complaints with room cleanliness & presentation. The staff was friendly & helpful. The shuttle to the airport was a big selling point for us. They have it scheduled but they were flexible with our needs & helped us leave earlier. 2/3 ice machines were unserviceable & there is a single washer/dryer. $1.50 per load & light loads are recommended. The dryer took me two cycles. The hotel is located across from a few stores like 7/11 and generic liquor store all for your travel needs. I was bummed there was no exercise room but they made up for it with an indoor pool on the 2nd floor. Overall, I'd stay again & recommend.
Picked this hotel last minute. Price wasn't horrible and the staff was great. Check-in/out was a breeze and the room was nice. Décor a little outdated but no issues or complaints with the exception of one elevator that was slow at time. Other then that- I would recommend and would consider staying again if in the area!
I was looking for a place to stay for the week-end. I was referred to this hotel and it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They had a complete breakfast, ie. eggs, sausage, bagels muffins, bananas, apples, just to name a few items. There were plenty more options, to many to name. The area was very clean and the staff was constantly cleaning. I would recommend this hotel for a week-end stay, for the price.
The staff were friendly and the shuttle to the airport was on time. However the hotel is dated and the room smelled like ganja and cigarettes. Not the most comfortable bed either and the bathroom door cannot be left open which is kinda creepy. I didnt feel comfortable at all staying here.
Room was fine, but common areas were small and poorly designed. Only one slow elevator (which smelled like marijuana) for the entire hotel. Lousy breakfast was a complete afterthought. There was a homeless person lounging in the lobby and the staff didn't do anything about it.
A high standard hotel. Large and spacious rooms. Clean and tidy hotel. Good breakfast. excellent service. The hotel is located near Lax Airport. The area around the hotel has a shopping center. Hotel recommended for family with children
I was a little apprehensive about staying close to LAX, but this Best Western made it easy and comfortable. Front desk staff is caring and accommodating. The room I had was great and the bed was extra comfortable. Bathroom and the amenities were above average. Nice soap and shampoo. There is a real good Mexican Restaurant next door and plenty of food options within walking distance. I would recommend this property
Showed up and was was greeted by a young lady name Alisha. She seemed genuinely concerned about our trip and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. The hotel is located super close the airport. Have free shuttles if you don't have a car. We did and the parking garage was clean and easy to navigate. There are area restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and quite. Once again the staff was super nice and Alisha seemed just like a super nice young lady. Would recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area.
We've been here for 5 nights....everything has been great! The rooms are clean and spacious and they have a good variety offered for breakfast, including make your own waffles which I really enjoyed! The service in the breakfast room was great too. Angel was especially efficient and helpful, as was the rest of the staff! I recommend staying here!
After staying in a small Best Western it was nice to walk into a large room. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Not sure what it is with BW and their small pillows, but they are comfortable. Front desk and breakfast staff very helpful and friendly. They have s shuttle to car rental and airport. Only complaints are the usual lack of soundproofing in hotels but this was better than most. Hot water ??? In a state short on water we had to run shower for 5 minutes each time for it to go from freezing to hot and the hot only lasted 5 minutes before it was freezing again, then wait 20 minutes for more hot water ???
We stayed the night due to an early morning flight out of LAX. The positives: Check in was quick and the girl at the front desk was friendly. The lobby looks newer and clean. Almost all the staff we encountered in the halls and front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. The location and free shuttle were convenient for the airport. The negatives: The room is dated and smells old and of mildew. For one night, I figured it wasn't a big deal. We dropped off our stuff and headed out for dinner. When we returned around 9pm our room smelt very strongly of marijuana. Over the next 3 hours we called the front desk 3 times. We were advised the first two times they would "investigate". The third time we called we were advised that no one was smoking on our floor and our room shouldn't smell like marijuana. We requested another room but were advised they were unable to accommodate this. We looked at other hotels in the area but at this time it was after midnight and we decided to try and get some sleep - I maybe slept 3.5 hrs. In the morning we did bring it up to the front desk staff - and she was very understanding and apologetic. Again the staff at this hotel are generally amazing. We did complain to our travel agent and did get some compensation and an apology from the hotel - I was going to give 1 star for overall impression but upgraded to 2 because of this. I still wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it. Not what I expect from a BW Plus.
The staff is super friendly and good at their jobs. For instance, I've watch as Angel is efficient and quick at he's job, while being mindful of the guests. This morning there was a large orange juice spill, Sliver and Angel were quick to clean it up while watching out for the guests. I can come down ever morning and anticipate the breakfast room is clean and prepared, because of these two.
Clean, comfortable, spacious room with wonderful staff. Good for families. Easy parking. Good value and easy access to LAX. Good Mexican restaurant next door and 7-11 across street. Good WiFi. Recommend for short stay.
Let me begin, we are on a family trip from Costa Rica, we are a party of 6, 2 Young Adult me and my wife, my parents and my grandparents Senior Citizen, and my Grandfather is handicap with a Wheelchair, so as we arrive to LAX, we stay on the hotel, 2 really bad nights, the Weed Smell is terrible, but is California, lets deal with it because its “medicinal” no worries, then we start our road trip, and the last night we have to come back to the hotel, we arrive a day later yes we didn't advice to the hotel, but this was some prepaid rooms, so we understand that we are going to loose some money, not a problem our bad, so we arrive on Thursday 3/29/18 at 8pm after a 6 hour drive from Vegas, and surprise ! The individual at the reception named Daniel I guess, he with an attitude and a sarcastic smile on the face told us that, the hotel doesn't have the money because was made trough an OTA? What's that? And as they don't have the money i don't have a room... come on Danielito, we made the reservation trough American Express Concierge and my paper say Best Western Plus ... and as i request to speak with a manager you told me that you are, really Danielito? A Manager in Front Desk? But what a surprise the actual GM shows up, and she is like nothing because Danielito, give orders to her? What about that folks, well no money back, no room, and i have to go with a senior citizen on an Wheelchair at 9pm to go to find an a hotel ... I'm going to escalate this to corporate, take my word on that, oh also you treat on me that i can't come to that hotel... i want the apologies from Danielito and the Manager also the refund for the night of 3/29/18 ... For the readers, there are cheaper hotels on the area and with better service than this one ! Don't book this hotel unless you want to be treated and humiliated by Danielito check something else in the area ! Trust me there is so many better options...
Right off the highway, down the street from the Parking Spot. Great little Mexican restaurant right next door!! Food is great! We were there just so that we did not have to drive after a long trip. Great stopping point
Nice Staff, Great Location, Free airport shuttle, Clean and comfortable. Stayed for an overnight layover and it worked out great. Called the hotel for the shuttle and it arrived 15 minutes later. Had a restful sleep and a decent, typical Buffet breakfast the next morning.
This facility was able to get me in on short notice when another hotel “mishandled” my reservation. I was greeted warmly at arrival way after midnight. Room was quiet and a nice size, bedding offered a great sleep experience, breakfast was great as well, and check out was smooth as well. Excellent experience at this hotel for a one night stay.
Stayed for one night before a flight the next morning. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The lobby very large and welcoming. The staff all friendly and accommodating. A decent Mexican restaurant next door. I liked that they had a Keurig coffeemaker in the room.
Close to airport, rooms were clean, all TVs in rooms were analog and picture was not good, tub didn't drain well, staff was helpful and friendly. We called the hotel when our cab driver did not come back to pick us up after dinner, but no one answered the telephone at the front desk of the hotel. Tried calling a number of times. Overall was just an OK experience.
We only wanted to stay over night between flights so thought Best Western would be a good safe option. On arrival we were shocked to see how run down and seedy this hotel appeared. However we checked in and went to the room. Opened the door and was confronted with stale beer smell. Furnishing terrible, room dirty and worn out. Room next door room was vibrating with loud shouting noise and radio blaring. Returning to reception we were met by other guests who found their keys didn't work and now the lift door wouldn't open so took the stairs to reception. Asked for another room. Only one available was even worse than the first so decided to not sleep the night in the hotel. On complaining to our Travel Agent and asking for a refund the hotel refused. Best Western should take their name off this hotel. Don't stay here under any circumstances.
Have stayed here several times this year and have not been disappointed... friendly personnel, clean comfortable rooms and great convenient location. Parking also convenient. My family will be staying here again.
The area may be a bit intimidating but the hotel and staff were fantastic. We arrived at 9:30 am and were in our room by 10:30 am. Our group needed 3 rooms and all were in their suites by 11:15, which was really appreciated since we were going for a day tour at 11:30. The desk staff offered us breakfast, even though we had not even checked in yet. We declined since we already ate at another BW in San Pedro earlier in the day. The group did take advantage of the breakfast the next morning and it was good. Our room looked over the pool area and was amazingly quiet even being close to the busy road. We did not hear any noises in the hallway at night either. It was a pleasant stay and we will return.
Represntative Daniel is really professional and kind. Definitely always nice to see him working here. Definitely 5 start employee. My reservations are a breeze. And hotel is clean. Breakfast is great !
This was our first time at this BW facility. Have stayed at other BW all around the place and we're not disappointed at thos one. The friendly staff and many attractions are confidently accessible. Will be back
I felt that this was not in the best area of town..It made me nervous. The front lobby was in need of some attention. It was definitely tired in appearance. Our room however was lovely and the complimentary breakfast was good. I'm just not wild about the location...
Near LAX, about 20 minutes by car from Santa Monica, Venice and other locations. Clean and comfortable room includes fridge and microwave. Very good breakfast with many options. Staff members Elissa and Jo are very kind and helpful.
In need of a place to stay near LAX overnight, I selected the Best Western from a vast array of options along Century Blvd. It was an excellent choice. Calling the hotel for an airport pick-up, the shuttle arrived in 10 minutes (I was told 20.) The check-in was easy and the manager upbeat, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed firmly comfortable and the pillows too soft for me. The large flat TV had more than enough channels. There was one available USB port; more would have been nicer. Even with the location right on Century Blvd. and the 405 Freeway barely a block away, the room was quiet. The gym was small but effective with a cycle, treadmill and multi-station machine. The shuttle back to the airport left on time (5am.) Not flashy, the Best Western was everything I needed it to be for this trip.
Great place if you looking for a stopover hotel for your next flight - large room - good quality and clean breakfast - good shuttle service ( but you need to call for a pick up at the airport - however it is quite easy - free phone at the counter next to baggage claim area) - food and convenient store just opposite the hotel
Great experience hotel room was big an clean had a microwave an fridge an coffe maker breakfast was an A+ decent size pool hotel staff great an friendly Jo at front desk was awesome we arrive a bit early an our room was ready so we got it early so that was great to location is very good about 8 to 10 minutes from airport 4 minutes from fox rental across the street there's a 7eleven an couple spots to grab something to eat an laundromat there to so overall great location great hotel an we had a great experience there thank you
We needed somewhere close to airport and Car rental drop off just for our last night. Check in was easy, room was good and location met our requirements. The pool/spa was ok and kids enjoyed it but it was a bit weird as it is on the second floor over looking a bunch of shops and busy intersection. Included breakfast was great with a lots of choice. Only bad bit was the free shuttle to the airport. It was over booked so my kids had to share a seat and my wife has to sit 4 across on a seat meant for 3.
I have just stayed at this hotel but was very disappointed when we arrived at Lax in the middle of the night, went to the hotel shuttle pick up area to wait for the shuttle. After waiting an hour & calling the hotel re pickup I found out we had to call them for the shuttle to pick us up. No one had previously told us that. Then when they did arrive the driver was straight out rude. Must say it put a bad taste in our mouth before we'd even got to the hotel. Anyway once there & settled in our room it wasn't to bad. Staff were friendly & it was clean.
A few months prior to my arrival at this hotel I enquired about the shuttle service from the airport that they advertise when booking. The email told me to call the hotel from the courtesy phones at the airport for a collection, which we did on arrival. 40 minutes of waiting and still no sign of the shuttle. I called the hotel just to enquire what kind of time it would come and what the bus will look like. Anyone who's been to LAX airport will know there are A LOT of shuttle buses that go through the stop, we just wanted to be sure not to miss it. The girl on the phone was extremely rude she raised her voice and said it will be at the stop soon just wait and hung up. I couldn't believe it - to be honest it's not really the kind of reaction you want after a 10 hour flight, 2 hours getting through immigration and another 40 mins waiting for a shuttle bus that's obviously not coming. We ended up getting a taxi anyway costing $19 dollars. We checked into the hotel easily however it was obviously the girls on reception knew that we were the ones one of them had been so rude too, but there was no mention of it. The hotel is very close to the airport and the rooms were comfortable, sheets were not that clean but was sufficient for a nights stay. I would not recommend staying here just because of the genera attitude of the staff.
We stayed on our first night - we had a booking for our last night but we cancelled it and picked elsewhere, mainly due to the excessive traffic noise in this room. A pity, as the room was big, if bland, the parking was cheap - $10 - there were lots of restaurants and stores nearby, though the area was a bit rough - and the included breakfast was good. The room was only $120 too. WE changed to a much more expensive place on our second night at LAX - much quieter but double the price.. You pay your money and take your choice... Maybe it was noisy as we were facing the motorway, but a decent triple glazed window could have solved all that. otherwise, very good. Just.. noisy !
Very close to LAX. This hotel had very comfortable beds. The staff was great. The breakfast area was a little small but I did not have a problem finding a place to sit. Parking charge is $10/day but the girl at the front desk waived it for me because of my elite status with Best Western. They do have a shuttle to the airport but I believe there is a charge for it. I did not have to use it as I had a car.
Iris always manages to get a smile out of me this girl always cheers me up and genuinely greets me every time when she sees me and that makes me feel home. overall all employees are great night time is billy and Jo and morning Iris and 2 other new faces i thing Gen and Lisa you can tell they also are very happy to helps the customers.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel near airport was nice, shuttle service is a plus. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Breakfast is always great! Clean and affordable. I enjoy my stay and if there is an issue it is addressed in a timely manner.
Stayed for one night after arriving at LAX around 10:00 pm and did not feel like driving to Palm Springs. Iris was the front desk agent when we arrived and was very friendly. She was efficient with our check-in and making sure we were aware of what the hotel had to offer. The room was clean and was a good size with a sofa bed. Would recommend staying here.
Nice clean, good sized room with desk, couch, fridge, micro, safe, iron and ironing board. Breakfast is standard BW fare. High marks for the pool and hot tub on the 2nd floor - Stan and Elissa were very helpful when I need to upgrade my room 2nd night at the front desk. Breakfast and the staff were amazing. Be sure to pick up your parking voucher at the desk for underground parking.
Nice clean, good sized room with desk, couch, fridge, micro, safe, iron and ironing board. Breakfast is standard BW fare. High marks for the pool and hot tub on the 2nd floor - great watching the planes. Small plaza across the street with several fast food options and a 7-11. Guest laundry on 2nd floor as well. $1,50 for washer and dryer. Change and detergent available at front desk. Elissa was a joy at the front desk. Shuttle drove us to our car rental which was much appreciated. Be sure to pick up your parking voucher at the desk for underground parking.
Stopped overnight here en route from England to sunny California at the end of October and again at the end November en route to return to UK. It is 10 mins from the airport using the free shuttle and is around the corner from the car rental premises. The rooms are very large, the beds are really comfortable and the cleanliness is superb.
I'm not going to break any new ground here: this is not a destination hotel, although if you transported it to the beach a couple miles away you could easily fill up every room for two to three times what they go for here. Most reviews here would agree that this is a sleep-and-fly type of situation and it fulfills its duties beautifully, with well-appointed and comfortable rooms, close proximity to the airport, free breakfast and even a nice touch of flavored water in the lobby. Not much else to report apart from the fact that shuttle service in the morning can be a bit spotty. It runs every hour on the hour, but its sister property has another van that picks up on the :30 mark, but because it's not dedicated to one hotel, it can run a bit behind.
Overall the staff were great. The experience in the hotel was not perfect, but the room served it's purpose. Great price, short distance to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS & Manhattan Beach. Just one recommendation for the hotel, crank up the hot water heater and upgrade your mattresses.
Good spot to stay while trying to get out of LA or passing through. It was family friendly and the rooms were spacious. There were a lot of nearby food options. There wasn't any road noise and the shuttle was convenient but you had to make sure it was available. I would stay there again.
Excellent hotel for a layover before a cruise. The free airport shuttle was prompt. The lady at the desk during checkin was friendly. The room was large even by American standards. Heck I've stayed in hotels in Asia that you could fit 3 or more of their rooms into this one. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, safe, clock, decent size TV, and coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast was great. It had all I could want including a few hot items. There were lots of fast food type resturants within easy walking distance. I didn't see any really upscale restaurants though. There were convenience stores, a Dollar Tree, and a 99¢ cent store close by too. In addition, I saw a liquor store accross the street. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything in the bathroom worked. The free wifi was good too, I'm posting this from my room. Who could ask for more?
Chose this property for its proximity to LAX. They run a shuttle every hour at the top of the hour. Due to early flights out they start breakfast at 5:30am! Sure wish other hotels would follow suit, and it lasts until 10:00am. Typical hotel breakfast. Room was clean. Toilet was running when we entered, told the front desk and they sent someone up who claimed they fixed it. Nope. Glad the water shortage is over in LA, I think? Parking will cost you $10/day. The best is that if you are returning a rental car, they will pick you up at the rental agency with their shuttle. Only one slow elevator, so don't be in too much of a rush.
I'm writing this to express our appreciation of Best Western. Employees at the Best Western on 5005 W. Century Blvd. Inglewood CA for the help they gave us on November 28, 2017. After the BW van driver had taken us to LAX on his 11:00 run, for a long flight to Albany NY, we discovered that after long flight from Australia the previous day we had left a very important piece of luggage ((passports, phone, etc.) either in our room or on the van. I used a phone at the airport information stand and contacted Elissa, a young lady at the Best Western desk, who immediately checked for the missing luggage, and located it as being on the.van. A few minutes later the van driver returned to the airport with our missing luggage. I want to again express our deep appreciation for these two employees. Best Western is fortunate to have them. Sincerely Richard Perry Saratoga Springs NY
It was my first time in California and I must say that I was very happy with the service and my stay the motel was clean and nice I'm sure to return to the motel if I ever return to California thank you
Selected this property because of price and proximity to airport. Upon arrival learned we needed to call hotel for pick up. They said it would be 30 to firty minutes. We took taxi a few blocks and cost is $20 minimum. We complained to frint desk staff and they did not seem to care. They missed our wake up call and the morning desk staff did not rven appologize. Next time I'll pay a few more $ for one of the other hotels near the airport. Pillows we cheap and uncomfortable. Suprised this happened at a Best Western property.
Perfect hotel! Like new. Very clean, nice people that work there. We will be staying there next time we visit CA. The hotel is like new. Best one I have ever stayed in. Even the housekeeper was really nice! Food was great too.
Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Close to restaurants and show for our dinner etc. Room was clean and large, but bed was about to hard. We were with a large group and it was nice to have use of ppl and hot tub. Free breakfast in the morning was sufficient and good. Would stay here again and recommend to others. Rooms were quiet but maybe the view could have been better, the telephone pole and electrical wires with garbage stick to it were not so nice.Value for the money was good.
Front desk is tops...iris (and 3 others..1male, 2 female)...welcome you more as an invited guest than as a customer... Stan..mgr..sets high expections for his staff and they deliver.. almost forgot... airport shuttle service is ALWAYS GREAT! Complimentary breakfast—-way above average..area kept clean and stocked . Be sure they all know how much they are appreciated . almost forgot...airport shuttle service is ALWAYS GREAT! Be sure they all know how much they are appreciated . Thank you
this hotel was a great deal for the location and comfort. I stayed there one night for business meetings. Super convenient from LAX. We left our bags at the hotel, used Lyft to get to our meetings and easily picked bags up and caught shuttle back to LAX. Would definitely stay here again!
The power cord was left in our room. I called from the airport to explain, the person at the desk said, no problem, she then collected the shipping information and sent it the next business day. The carton was received yesterday. Needless to say, I was very happy and impressed. Thanks,
Extremely clean rooms. The manager and several employees have been at this Best Western for over 20 years. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. A plus is the complimentary shuttle from LAX and the extended continental breakfast.
This best western is a good choice to stay that is close to Los Angeles Airport. The staff are very friendly and the room was clean as expected. Good water pressure in the shower. The only thing I wish was better was faster airport shuttle. We waited for about 45 minutes to get picked up. I would have taken a cab if I knew it would take that long.
A good way to start our trip! the hotel was nice and comfortable one out of two card keys for each room would not work--got new ones the same thing happened!. Card keys can only be "reused" so many times... not the end of the world but inconvenient. a little street noise and sirens early on then it quite'd down. got a nice nights rest and then enjoyed the free breakfast which was good with most everything one could want for breakfast, although the Banana's had a cloud of gnats when disturbed, everything else was covered and looked and tasted great. they had two sizes of waffles, full and a- small round waffle- maker which was nice!
We needed to stay close to the LAX airport because we had an early morning international flight. This Best Western is only 2 miles from the airport and the shuttle service to pick us up and to take us to the airport worked like a charm. It was definitely helpful to reduce or anxiety and stress for seniors like us.
Hotel was booked by our tour company . After a long flight from London, arrived at LA airport and missed the pick up from tour company as well as the hotel shuttle bus. Came to the hotel around 10 pm by taxi.. Staff at the reception was not friendly and wasn't ready to give a call to our tour company. Later on gave us a wrong room key. Knocked on door at 11 pm !! a lady came to open the door. Surprisingly she wasn't mad. We had to apologised to her not the hotel staff. Breakfast was ok. limited choices.
My review is way overdue. I stayed at the Inglewood Best Western Plus hotel in November 2015. First and foremost, I was picked up at the airport by the shuttle. So convenient! I got in too early for check in. I was exhausted after my very early morning flight, and asked the front desk stuff if they would let me check in. They had no problem with that. I was very exited to get free continental breakfast and a nap right away. Room was clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly, polite, helpful. I was picking up my mother at the LAX after a very long flight from Russia. My mom was very pleased and delighted with the hotel. She actually liked it better than my home. LOL.
The hotel staff seemed cordial enough. We were greeted by the overwhelming odor of marijuana upon exiting the elevator. At about midnight our neighbors decided to throw a mini party in their room and they were loud and actually foot racing down the hall. We called the front desk and it took way too long for them to quiet down. I am sure we were not the only ones who complained. Not very family friendly.
Great hotel! Excellent breakfast . Clean and nice service . Nice parking garage . Eating places in walking distance . Nice pool too . We had 5 people , so a pull out sofa was in our room . We had lots of room - all very nice !
It was very nice and good employees. I recommend it. A good place in Los Angeles next to airport the a beautiful neighbouring . The room was clear and with good equipment. Breakfast was delicious for the morning and good services.
We booked a room at Best Western Suites Plus Hotel in Inglewood, California for our visit to Universal Studios and we're not disappointed. The hotel is only an uber ride away and it's near many restaurants. It also has free continental buffet breakfast.
We landed in LAX late and needed a place to sleep for the night. The staff was very nice and helpful! We had no issues. The hotel is extremely dated but it didn't affect anything. The breakfast is great and the airport shuttle is awesome. The room was large and had plenty of room or all of our stuff. Couldn't ask for anything else with it being so close to the airport. It is on a busy road but we were too tired to even notice the road noise.
The Best Western Plus Suites Hotel, once we got into a room (long check-in process with one staffer on the desk and six or seven people checking in all at once) was quite good. The room was clean, large and well-appointed. No problems other than having to initially change rooms because the first room we got smelled heavily of smoke (it was supposed to a no-smoking room!) and then the keys didn't work on the second room we got, but after getting the keys reissued, pretty much everything was excellent.
This ended up being a last minute booking due to changes in travel plans. We experienced a great stay, our room was very clean, hotel close to eateries, gas stations & freeway. Would certainly stay again.
This is a great option for a quick, affordable stay. My guests and I only stayed one night. Upon arriving they did tell us the elevator was out of service, but there were workers who assisted us in carrying our bags to the room. By the time we went out and came back around 2am, the elevator was fixed so that was really convenient. The room was fine, we had 2 beds and the sofa bed. The room was clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. They had a lot of options even though it was a continental breakfast. I loved the fresh fruit infused water in the lobby. Thanks to Iris for allowing me to add my Best Western points. We took the shuttle to get our rental car and it was fairly easy. The shuttle ran on the hour so we just waited for it. The hotel is very close to the airport! We didn't use the pool or hot tub but I did check it out and it seemed nice. It's small but a great addition to a budget friendly hotel. I would definitely stay here. No frills but not needed for just a one night stay.
Conveniently located close to LAX. Hotel needs to be remodeled or could use a face lift. I was expecting more for the price paid. Breakfast was not good. Bed was comfortable, elevator was dated and slow. They will charge you to park your car at this hotel.
We stayed at 10 Hotels on our US trip and this was definitely the best Hotel of them all. The service was second to none and the facilities were awesome. The rooms were large, clean and tidy. Special mention to Geeta who went above and beyond with her customer service. Great Hotel and would definitely stay here again.
First the good news: the staff tried hard, the room was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory—lots of options and pretty good quality. Then some challenges: We arrived at the hotel, which looks a little faded and is in a marginal neighborhood, after a 13 hour trans-Pacific flight. The lobby was dark and dated and a sign on the check-in desk indicated the elevator was broken. A staff member was assigned to help us get our bags up to our room but when we opened the door with our key there were bags, shoes and clothes scattered around making it clear the room was occupied. The staff was apologetic and found us a different room quickly, but it was a jangly start to our visit. As I described, there were some good features, but I'd look pretty hard for alternatives before I stayed there again.
A little time off and needed close location to LAX and beaches without breaking the bank. Room was good and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was standard. the bed was OK, room was quite. I will be back next time in the area. it was 20 mins to the beach.
Was not satisfied, smell of room and the carpet was very old. Bed not comfortable . The hotel lobby look like it has not been updated at all it feels like the 1980's. Elevator late at night was super slow took forever to come down.
All of what we come to expect from Best Western plus the room has extra space for a sofa and coffee table. Nice lobby area we used for interviews, staff very accomodating. We drove, has free parking for one vehicle which is good this close to the airport and if we decide to fly they have an airport shutlle. Nice outdoor pool too although we did not get a chance to use it
Very convenient for LAX, within a block of I405 with free overnight parking underground. Rooms were standard BW type with decent bathroom. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming and the airport shuttle is only hourly, which may not be convenient for everyone. It's a bit short of dining options nearby without a short drive. I ate at the Mexican place next door, which was enthusiastic but unlikely to trouble the gourmet guides to the city. I wouldn't want to walk more than a few yards on Century after dark.
Room great, service and personnel outstanding (I authorize Front desk clerk (Iris) a Million Dollar raise...She was Great. Full breakfast, juice, various types fruit/vegetable water was excellent. Location to LAX Airport/Rental Car was close lest than 20 minutes away.
Not in the best part of town. The Jacuzzi tub was in the kitchen, did not like that. The shower head was wonderful! There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't leave the window open. Was decent for the price, but would spend a little extra next time and go somewhere nicer.
Everything about the hotel was excellent quality, the shuttle, the staff, the breakfast, the comfy beds. We had a room across from the elevator and near the ice machine and I was afraid the noise would keep me awake but it did not. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The only drawback is the surrounding area, which is scary to say the least. We try to get our 10K steps every day and didn't go far on the street before turning back. So if you only need a close airport hotel with a decent shuttle, then stay here, but if you plan on going out and don't have a car, it is probably better to choose one in a more gentrified area.
We arrived at the hotel after a 13h flight and the greeting could not be better. The man at the desk, Alan, was kind, fast and helpful doing the check-in. Maybe the hotel needs a renovation but the people that works in there deserves the best!! Location is great and for being that close to the airport there's is almost no noise at all.
Allen was utterly amazing after travelling for over 25 hours on a flight from Asia and having a layover in LA. Allen welcome us with a smile making us feel at home. He provided us with a great direction on where to get good food. My partner birthday was that next day and he went out his way to ensure provide great customer service that her birthday was special. Allen is a perfect example of a great Best Western employee. Our shuttle driver was kind and super helpful, the service from Best Western Plus LAX Airport was outstanding. As I Best Western Loyal Customer this place did not disappoint.
We only stayed here because if the location. This hotel does it well. They assisted me in getting my rental back with a return ride and a shuttle early for the 7 a.m. departure at LAX. Our room was fine and the staff was better.
The room was very clean, everything worked well. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was below average, small selection of hot items and small selection of cereals, I would classify it as very basic. Sadly I think the location lets it down, there were times we encountered homeless people sleeping in the stairwell as it was easy for people to walk into the hotel off the street. The walls and ceilings did let a lot of noise through. The location is not viable for walking around in the evenings, there aren't any great places to eat, but it is a great location for a flight out of LAX.
Nice Hotel. Have Pool, its near the Airport. The breakfasts is good for the price that you pay. 10 dollars extra per day for Parking in the Hotel its accessible, not like another Hotel in LA thats is expensive to park. The Rooms are good. Its a nice option to stay 1 night and be near the Airport. Better if you arrive in the afternoon, or leve in the Morning.
The rooms were spacious, attractive and clean. The staff were congenial and very helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The free van service to LA airport was timely. I would refer this hotel to others.
Nice hotel. Rooms was spacious, clean and had everything you could think of. Parking area for registration is very small. It must be real fun when really busy! The gratuitous breakfast was very good. Nice size selection. They offer a shuttle service to LAX which is very convenient. If you are not flying, you get to avoid the traffic.
Just looking for a night's stop and this came in at a good rate. Shuttle pick up was there at the airport within minutes. Check-in was all done swiftly and because I was heading off early, the shuttle was organised for the return trip. Iris was friendly, helpful and courteous at reception. Breakfast is served early from 5.30am, but I have to leave at 5am - so a breakfast review and that for the other amenities will have to wait. Certainly, however, this hotel ticks many boxes. I liked it.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Checking in was easy. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. I would recommend this hotel as its very close to the airport and the shuttle transfer was included in the price.
The lady at the front desk called Geeta or something like that is a dark skinned lady with black hair treated me and my entire family very bad! After complaining about our dirty room less than an hour after we got it she got extremely mad because we called Best Western Customer Service and she kicked our family out. At first she had offered us another room but once she found out that we called customer service she changed her mind and decided to kick an entire family out. We told her to go check our room to check it out for herself and she refused saying that her reviews online where high and that she was sure that our room was not dirty when in reality it was dirty. There was a pair of shoes in our closet, a TON of hairs in one of the drawers and candy wrappers on the floor, and a pill near the couch that might have been a drug. This lady was very unprofessional, and did not know how to handle the situation correctly. She had a terrible attitude and told us that we had 30 minutes to leave our room because she was kicking us out. She got mad and she kicked us out because she was mad that we called customer service. Well, that is what customer service is for! She should be fired because her attitude and manners are just trash. No one with that attitude should be allowed to work the front desk because your business is going to start going downhill if she treats everyone like that. When we called customer service to tell them that she kicked my family out, they gave her a call and they said that she gave them the same mean and rude attitude that she gave us. They have it on file and have bad reviews on her. So she did not just give my family a hard time but she also gave customer service a very unwilling attitude to solve the problem. Do not go to this hotel because their staff is not professional and friendly, and on top of that they don't clean the rooms completely. You should try to find another hotel that treats you better!
Many benefits to this hotel! 1. Location! It's very close to the airport. Literally down the road. No way to get lost going to or from it, if you're driving. Parking is inside. I don't worry about my vehicle, despite driving a nice sports car. They're good about protecting you and your things. 2. Rooms are great! This hotel is at a very reasonable price point. One might expect lower quality, but this is Best Western. They aren't a crappy hotel, so you can expect a good room. 3. Safety! One might be concerned about safety staying close to the airport, given many neighborhoods in this part of L.A. are questionably safe. Best Western is definitely a place you can stay without worrying. Check in and unwind! Early morning flights are murder, no point in fighting L.A. traffic as well!
We found this hotel to be comfortable for our short overnight stay. It was very tidy and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was typical (waffles, cereals, breads, yoghurt etc.) The only problem we had was finding out how to get the shuttle bus from LAX. Rather than wait at the shuttle stop like all the other hotels. we had to call first from the information phones near the baggage area. Overall, it was good value for money.
Close to the AirPort. But that is the only good thing about this hotel. It's old, have carpet all over, the shower didn't work as good as it should. The pool was disgusting! Very dirty and the water was green/yellow with dirt and hair floating around. Breakfast was included. Everything except for the water had sugar in it. I would not recommend this hotel. I'm sure you can find better hotel close to LAX for less money.
I had a early flight so i decided to come into the city to be close to the airport. The hotel allowed me to check in with my rewards due to a issue with my card. they also offered my a ride to the airport on there shuttle. The breakfast was great also.
A hotelier's most important mission is to provide a comfortable sleep experience. The mattress on our bed was lumpy and worn out. Furnishings were equally tired. Staff was pleasant and room was clean, if tawdry.
A hotel at the end of the street of airport hotels. Good pool and spa. Old tired rooms and decor. Slow lift. Very average breakfast. Fitness centre in need of an upgrade. Price reflects the hotel in comparison to others closer to the airport.
The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It had all the facilities you could need. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. There were a range of options: waffles, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit and bacon and eggs. The shuttle was great. You need to phone the hotel at the airport, but it was reasonably quick to arrive. It leaves on the hour for check out which was fine.
This best western plus is a bit older and you can tell in the rooms and hallways, however, it is perfectly just fine for a one night layover stay. We stayed here before flying out the next day and the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and decently big. The workout room is a bit older, however, it has a few of the key machines you need. This hotel is probably a 10 minute drive to the airport
We stayed here the night before our early morning flight home. Places to eat within walking distance and a shuttle service too. We dropped our rental car off that night and the shuttle picked us up for that as well as a ride to the airport in the morning. Minutes from the airport so no stressing about traffic
Great hotel great service. Check in was easy and fast. Rooms were very clean and bed was awesome. I will use this propert going forward when I'm in LA on business. Don't waste your time somewhere else.
First off - I highly recommend reading the 5-star review by "cfreedma", Nov 6, 2016 - this sums up the experience here at this hotel quite well. This person is clearly an experienced traveler and has his expectations vs reality in check. Then there's the 1-star review by "Brianna O", July 24, 2017, regarding sewage, i.e. "other people's poop... literally filled our bathroom and room..." - was rather, I'll just call it "dramatic overkill" and I err on the side of "c'mon, has nothing bad EVER happened to you in the real world before?" with that one. Inquiring minds want to know - Did you contact the staff? Did they handle the situation and assist you in relocating, either within the hotel or another hotel? Or did they too all run away from all the "literal poop"? So with that out of the way - MY review is simply this: It was surprisingly better than expected. The price was reasonable for a 1-night stay, a Friday night no less. The staff were all very courteous and helpful upon check in, fixing an issue with our key cards and during check out. We did not stay for the complimentary breakfast, nor did we visit the pool, so I won't comment on what I don't know. The room was a lot bigger than expected too. We had a corner suite, with not one, but two big windows to watch the airplanes whiz by. Yes, there's also street noise, as it is right in front of a busy intersection, and the airport is a mile away - do the math. I also saw the "room service" menu - if you read it right, it's not provided BY the hotel, it's provided by a service provider TO the hotel... but there's a fridge in the room, bring your own snacks if you need to eat in a pinch. There's also a Panda Express and El Pollo Loco across the street. The room is interesting: The bed is very comfortable, sheets are clean, and pillows are just the way we like them, not too soft/flat, not too hard/tall. Yes, the decor is outdated, but if you look at it the right way, it's like visiting a hotel museum like "Rooms of the 80's," so no complaints, heck, it was almost entertaining to take it all in. Dang that wallpaper person knew what they were doing, all those lines lined right up perfectly, even the seams! Also to note, everything worked as expected; lights, TV, remote, phone. The single-serve keurig-style coffee machine is great, MUCH better than other ones we've used in other hotels. While we drink ours black, if you want "fresh" cream, I'm sure you could get some from the staff, or downstairs at the breakfast space. The bathroom is also a nice size, very clean and dare I say it? We had absolutely no issues with "other people's poop" visiting us (do I hear a collective "whew" here?). Plenty of nice clean towels, and bathroom essentials (soap, shampoo, etc). There is on-site, underground parking for an additional $10 a night, a steal compared to the swankier hotels. Not sure about long-term parking - best to ask. They do offer shuttle service to/from the airport - but no where else, just so you know in advance. Uber worked flawlessly for getting us to/from our event at the Forum. All in all in a nutshell: Better than expected, a reasonable rate for a decent 1-night weekend stay, all with a comfy bed and helpful/friendly staff.
Clean hotel and room. Great staff. OK breakfast, but not a lot of places to sit near the food. Overpriced for the area. Parts of the hotel were nicely decorated and other parts hideous and old. Remote was broken and we were too tired to go down to the lobby to replace. Only stayed there one night.
Check in was rough to start with rude staff and an odd smell with very wet carpets in the hall and room. We soon learned why when 2 or our 4 rooms our group rented had SEWAGE filling the sink and poop from other people literally filled our bathroom and room. We could not run away from the hotel fast enough! Save yourself the stress and the disgusting health hazard of this hotel. Not sure how they can even legally still run with such filth and health risks to customers! EWWW!! Do NOT STAY HERE!
Fantastic location near the airport. Super friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Allen at the front desk was outstanding. Free breakfast just off the lobby in the morning. I will definitely be staying here again.
We required a last minute reservation in the area and found this to be the best deal within our limited budget. We comfortably slept six adults and one baby with 2 queens and a pull-out for one night in a good size room! Great price, amazing bed/pillows, clean room & friendly staff. Easy access to WIFI. Many food choices at breakfast. It was just what we needed!
Old and outdated, silverfish running on the walls and terrible service. Tried to order room service from the menu in my room only to be told they don't actually have room service and no restaurant on site. Definitely not worth the time or money.
Great value for property. Perfect location for my needs. One of the best Breakfasts I ever had at a hotel. Most important of all was the courtesy of all the staff. Wow. This hotel has a pool spa open from 9:00 to 9:00. The hotel has in door free parking that was great. Many restaurants in the area. If you want to be near the airport this property is about 1 mile away from LAX. The hotel is one block from the 405 freeway for easy travel in the city.
Free airport transfer to the hotel. Easy check in and out. Nice sizeable rooms. Large TV, comfy bed and sofa. Clean bathroom. Free Wi-fi. Small gym and pool. Located across the road are convenience stores and a quite a few places where you can get food. So unlike a few hotels located near LAX airport you don't feel as isolated when staying here. Free breakfast where I got a quick bite before my 9:00am flight. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here when we flew in and then again when we flew back out. 2 nights. They provided a shuttle for us when we returned out rental car and then in the morning to the airport when we flew out. They also had rooms with 2 beds and a pull out couch which is hard to find! They had parking for us for the one night that we needed it, it was a tight squeeze but we did it. It was clean and the staff very friendly! The roof top pool is pretty at night!
Great hotel setup and nice staff around. But do not expect much from the breakfast compare to hotels around or within Best Western. Personally, I feel that it is not value for money and not to mention they charge $10 per parking too.
Spent one night for airline connection purposes. It's o.k. best feature is that it's very close to the airport, not five minutes away. My room was very noisy but the room was clean and has the amenities you need.
Good hotel close to airport, pool and jacuzzi are small, overall stay was nice, gluten free options if you ask the kitchen staff: that was an added plus, fitness room is also a tad small, can't say I would not stay again
The hotel had nice clean rooms that were large enough to have a real sitting area. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a good size and appeared to be clean as it smelled clean too. The rooms are big enough for 4 people to be comfortable. Our first room smelled like it had been freshly painted and the smell was overwhelming so we asked for a new room. The staff quickly placed us in a nearby room that had been updated too but didn't have the paint smell. I would definitely stay there again.
Got a nice room for getting some work done with enough room to stretch out. Internet was a bit hard to log-in, but worked fine after a couple of tries. Primary feature catching my interest was being near the airport and having a shuttle to and from it. That worked great. Staff was excellent.
Awesome check in, with fun staff and great restaurant recommendations. Common areas need work, especially the elevator and hallways. Excellent breakfast and super fast checkout. Staff was always pleasant.
Would stay again because personnel were very pleasant and helpful. However, hotel needs serious upgrading.....carpets were old and tired looking, only one elevator and very slow. during my visit, there was also repair being done to the street right infront so it was difficult to cross to get a quick bite.
The place was clean, the breakfast was good, and the shuttle was so quick and easy to the airport. I definitely would stay again. The hotel is older, but still well maintained. We hung out at the pool and watched airplanes arrive at the airport.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was close to LAX (the hotel shuttle took 10-15 minutes on a Monday morning). The staff was very nice. There were several low-cost ethnic restaurants nearby.
Great service, and location. Staff were very helpful when we needed to change type of accommodation. Rooms were spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities. Only complaint, bed could be a little more comfortable.
A nice and clean room but the constant odor at the bathroom make it uncomfortable to use the bathroom all the time. During power outage at one time, this hotel has zero emergency light and at least one or two the Exit sign don't even lit up. not sure how it pass the city hotel inspection? High risk hotel during power outage!
Difficult to understand how in LA with two PBS stations, the channel selection had none. Room clean and comfortable. Head door needs to be tied open, difficult to keep from slamming. Nice that a bag breakfast is provided if one leaves prior to the complumentory breakfast ones.
No real problems except maybe the slowest elevator on the planet. Hotel was not awesome but wasn't bad either. Just fine for a one night stay before a flight. The pool/spa closed awful early at 9pm which doesn't really give you much time to have dinner and do anything else if you want to take a dip which was unfortunate. I'd stay there again if it was the best price in the LAX area but probably wouldn't book it if there was anything else with a brand name that was cheaper or the same price.
Although the furniture in the rooms are outdated it was a great deal! Very clean rooms! Booked this room last minute but was very pleased. Breakfast was really good a lot to choose from. I can say there is nothing I have to complain about other than the road work going on in front of the hotel.
Overall average hotel and over priced for what you get. It is in a part of town that appears relatively unsafe. They lock down at 9pm and you need the card to get in and out of the property. Staff was ok but not the best service I have experienced. I recommend staying closer to LAX if your travel plans take you there.
excellent stay, excellent staff, excellent rooms and amenities. Would highly recommend this Best Western to others. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were very clean and supplied with everything we needed.
My family had an early AM flight to Tokyo so we all flew in the evening before and stayed here for the night. The hotel was great for this purpose. The downside to this hotel is that there are limited dining opportunities in the nearby area and the hotel shuttle to the airport only departs at the top of each hour. You must make reservations at the front desk to insure that you can get on the shuttle at your desired time.
$10 parking, nice front counter staff, excellent and clean area for breakfast. Fruit infused water all day in the lobby. I needed a heavier blanket on the bed, I was cold while I was sleeping. Also, the construction outside was not fun to navigate trying to access or exit the hotel. The room was clean and roomy and the water pressure was fine in the shower.
The room doesn't have good sound proof, next door was very noisy with kids pass 10pm. The beds do not have good quality sheets and comforter. Pillows are good. Carpet was dirty, my white sock turned black after walking on it. Service is really good. Shuttles runs fast and very nice.
This hotel is very close to LAX. They offer a shuttle service, however they won't book you in ahead of time. I don't live in the US, and so it costs a lot of money to make calls using my phone. I called the hotel several times from the airport and each time I was put on hold. I finally gave up and took at taxi. Taxis from the airport are a minimum fee of $19.00. So make sure you are prepared to pay that if you can't get through to the hotel. The area where the hotel is located is sketchy and doesn't feel very safe. I wouldn't want to wander around at night looking for a place to eat. The staff at the hotel are super friendly. He continental breakfast was decent. He hotel is old with a very very slow elevator. If you are looking for a place to stay close to the hotel, it's OK here. The beds are comfortable and the room is fine. All together it was an OK stay. I do however thing it's a bit overpriced.
The airport shuttle driver was friendly. (Be sure to call hotel for your pick-up at the airport.) The front desk clerk was very accommodating with my requests. The hotel has four floors but the elevator seems to run slow. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable; I slept well. There is road construction on W. Century Blvd., so driving in the area can be frustrating. The continental breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold choices.
This was nothing fancy, but I would recommend it for a brief stay. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe, ironing board, desk, and a decent size table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was pretty nice, with a large counter by the sink, marble-style tiles on the floor, and a bowed shower curtain so it doesn't stick to you. I noticed that there was a hot tub with a lift chair for those with a disability. There are nearby restaurants, and (luckily for us) one even delivered late.
I was very happy to spend $20 more to stay near LAX instead of 10 or more miles away to deal with world famous L.A congestion traffic. This hotel soundproof very well, did not hear any airplane noise at all.Rental car return just less than 1 mile away, hop on the shuttle bus, within 1/2 hour you are at LAX lobby without dealing with traffic stress.Across the street, had a good meal at Panda Express, and found more times to rest.Hotel room is large and comfortable, next time I would stay on top floor to stay away from upper floor room walking noises Free breakfast was very good with many choices. We had a good stay.Strongly recommend this hotel if you want stay close to LAX and CAR rental companies.
Have stayed at this hotel many times going and coming from flights out of LAX. The lobby is inviting. The continental breakfast always includes hot food: usually eggs, sausage and bacon along with make your own waffles. Parking is limited but safe. Rooms are always clean with refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. WiFi is free. Hotel shuttle service is every thirty minutes. Location is just east of the 405 frwy which means the neighborhood is a little run down but we have walked it in the day time. Across the street are several restaurants including El Pollo Loco. We often recommend this hotel to friends.Elevator is a little slow and older then most.
Staff went out of their way to accomodate us upon arrival. We had been in air travel delays or planes for 21 hours without food or water for the final 6 hours. Staff opened breakfast area at midnight for us so we could get food and arranged for additional water bottles to be delivered to room. Their caring and responsiveness was way beyond expected!
Great room, beautiful furniture and lamps, great bed, nice bathroom, clean, neat, and very well equipped. Very convenient location, indoor parking, easy. Good breakfast, Friendly, professional, excellent service from everyone. Super value at these rates! Thanks, Best Western!
Very good hotel is a not great neighborhood. Perfect for the night before an early flight from LAX. Underground parking is tight. Airport shuttle is included. Very good hot breakfast included. Comfortable bed and pillows.
This hotel exceeded all my expectations based on my unfavorable past experiences at Best Western properties. The accommodations are fantastic...the lobby, the breakfast area...to include the selection of items offered, the room....which is very roomy and has a lot of area to store and place items....all fantastic! The nightly rates are pretty amazing too. I normally stay ant the Hilton down the street when I'm in town for business....I think now I'm going to be staying here. Great job Best Western!
I stayed at this Best Western Plus Suites Hotel April 29th 2017 and really enjoyed staying there. It's a good location and the breakfast was awesome. But best of all was the folks that worked the check in desk. They were awesome folks especially Iris who was so helpful to us.
Our family stayed just for one night before catching a flight and could not believe how courteous the staff were. They even sent the shuttle to the rental car company to pick us up after returning our vehicle.
This hotel is best on my list. Location excellent. Shuttle service runs all the time and are caring and helpful. Very close to LAX, and the room was QUIET!!! Will stay here again and again as we need to fly out of LAX, no question about it. Located near good fast food places, clean, new bedding, super clean bathroom. Cannot beat this place for the price either. You do get what is expected of a Best Western Plus for your money. =) Happy camper, local Californian.
Went for family vacation.. The room was comfortable and the location was good.. breakfast was good and they had plenty of food everything was clean. We asked for food recommendations and were told to go to rally's we went to rallies at 1 AM and our food was stolen.. kinda funny
Breakfast was really good and the staff was very helpful giving us directions around LA. Did not appreciate the charge for parking even though I encountered it before...I've also not returned to those hotels again.
Large rooms. Great staff...only thing is that smoking and non-smoking rooms are in the same floor and the hallways smell lousy. Great for LAX or for a one night if driving through southern CA. I would stay again.
Great place to stay in and out of LA. It is right near the 405, and close to both Ralphs and Whole foods (if you have a car). There are also gas stations, nearby. The airport is blocks away, and the hotel has shuttle service. The beds are very comfortable, and there is no street noise.
I don't have a review but my stay was great for me and my boyfriend, and I love how the regular staff here at this location always remember me by name! It definitely makes the stay here feel a lot more welcoming!
All was clean, staff was friendly. We loved having the free shuttle to and from the hotel along with breakfast included. The waffles were excellent, the eggs not so much. We would definitely stay here again.
feel right at home - service, sleeping & eating.Friendly, courteous, informative employees. Aided with Tours and Private getting around the City. Helped with computer printouts for shows. Comfortable bed, great TV, heating/ac worked awesome.
Pleasure trip coming off a cruise. Took taxi cab from San Pedro to this BW.. They provided a shuttle to the airport the following morning which was neat. There are a few eateries across the street., but not a large choice
Great place..close to airport with free and timely shuttle..comfortable and clean accommodations ... The complimentary breakfast is a worthwhile offering, continuously restocked and kept clean. excellent wifi The staff are courteous, competent and caring: Names known.. Front desk..Jo, Geeta, Iris Breakfast.... Silva, Martin Names not known Rooms, general maintenance.. Well maintained...no complaints..they also are quite flexible on timing, to allow guest some latitude.. Lobby, hallways, grounds and garage...always correct! Shuttle drivers...very helpful and pleasant...
All of the hotel staff we came in contact with were very helpful, courteous and smiling. We were able to check in early, the shuttle picked us up from the rental car return and delivered us to the airport on time in the morning. Unfortunately, the hotel room had a very strange odor, the mattresses were saggy, the bedding was minimal and old, and the hotel was very noisy. It sounded like the people above us were running laps the entire night.
Remember, it's a best western! So grading it on that curve makes it a good hotel but it doesn't compare well to the more expensive chains. I wish they didn't charge for parking or that their shuttle ran more than on the hour in the AM. For a single night it's OK
10 years stayinng at this place, and the experience remains exceptional....staff, complimentary breakfast, guest room cleanliness, ...excellent wifi service. It's a perfect place at a very reasonable cost
Stayed one night on a stopover and was pleasantly surprised. We phoned for the shuttle and it came fairly quickly. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful and asked right then about return shuttle and wake up call. The room was spacious and clean and the included breakfast had hot food and was ample. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a very nice Best Western Plus hotel. The price has crept higher and higher of late so I may not stay here again but it has all I need for a comfortable stay. Their cancellation policy requires a 24 hour notice to cancel which I don't like but can live with. Parking under the building is a bit tight, but acceptable. The rooms are very comfortable.
we stayed here one night as a stop over and all ok, this is a modern hotel with all facilities and although the staff not that friendly when we arrived the shuttle to airport is free and works well. the room was very large and windows good so no noise. a few shops near by and we ate at the Mexican just a few steps to the left of hotel where the food was basic and not that good. The hotel has everything you need for a few days stop over but i would not stay there any longer that that. I would book this hotel again for a stop over as the price is good and the rooms clean and had everything we needed but staff not that friendly. Breakfast was included and was good this hotel is near the airport about 15 mins and there is a few shops near by that are handy to get supplies. we also stayed at the comfort inn aver the road a few weeks later but not as good as the best western. all in all i would reccomend this hotel for a few nights stop over as it was good value for the price and the internet was good.
I have stayed at more LAX hotels than I remember. These included the budget variety as well as those decidedly upscale. So I check in to a budget with different expectations and it is based on those expectations that I am highly rating Best Western. In other words it exceeded those standards and expectations for a budget motel. First of all you need to phone the hotel upon arriving at LAX. Yes, most of you do anyway, but many of the hotels have shuttles than circle continuously and I often do not bother phoning. But with Best Western you do. Also the shuttle leaves the hotel only on the hour which may be an inconvenience depending on your flight time. The hotel is in the budget section of the LAX hotel row, past the more upscale variety but still quite close. So first of all I have to commend the service provided. The staff goes out of the way to be helpful. I was asked when my plane was leaving. 30 minutes after getting to my room I was phoned and asked if everything was okay. Without asking I was given an extra hour to check out when it was clear that my plane only left in the afternoon. So there are definitely pluses for that. The room itself is large, clean and comfortable. The capsule coffee machine offers better quality coffee than the more standard (though it would be nice if there was something besides powder chemical creamer for those who don't like to drink their coffee black). The toiletries are also more upscale than one would expect in a budget hotel. Like many other budgets, breakfast and wifi are included free of any extra charge. Breakfast is the expected budget fare though even here the yogurt offered is better than what most budgets offer at breakfast. Prices are comparable to the other budgets of the area. One small minus. The hallways have a faint disinfectant odor. At least I thought I smelled this. The rooms however are odor free and why would you be spending any time in the hallway. Overall the best experience I have had at an LAX budget and good for the standard overnight experience.
If you need to stay close to airport because of an early morning flight to catch, this is it !!!!! look no further. This hotel is good for travellers with little time to spare enroute to the airport, without the need to face heavy traffic. I love this hotel for it's quietness in the surrounding areas, spare for the constant landing of airplanes. Hotel provides breakfast, which is a bonus.
Had a room near the elevator, so expected some noise but could hear everything - worse yet, the ceiling above us creaked loudly any time anyone took a step upstairs. Woke up too many times to count. This problem accounts for the two star rating - the rest, room etc; was a four star Staff were efficient and polite; breakfast was good (ususal); ate at the Mexican restaurant beside it (very good); pay parking; beds were very comforable; room clean and modern; lobby very nice; free wifi
This Best Western was very good--nice, clean rooms, and helpful and courteous staff. Location is convenient to LAX, and the hotel provides free shuttle service. The only drawback is the area around the hotel is just OK--not sure it would be safe for walking at night to get something to eat (and there aren't many choices for eateries in walking distance from hotel).
Unable to contact them on the courtesy phone to get their shuttle bus from the airport. Check in was easy and receptionist pleasant who without my asking gave me a package which had been posted to them several days before. Good indication of their efficiency. Allocated room 312 which was really quiet and comfortable. Reasonable choice for a self-service breakfast but let down by paper plates and plastic cutlery. The reception staff were very helpful with advice on transport and booking a trip to the Getty Centre. Special mention for Geeta who always welcomed us with a smile and pleasant greeting. The return trip to the airport was on their shuttle bus with a very helpful driver who loaded and unloaded our bags, knew exactly which terminal we needed for our flight and advised us where to find the checkin desks. All in all we made a good choice to stay here for two days and will return here when next in L.A.
I was totally pleased with our stay at this Best Western. The staff was so helpful and efficient. They made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is very clean and the rooms have really great space. I loved the pool. The breakfast was great and the flavored water in the foyer was my favorite. Totally will come back.
I didn't know what to expect here- first time to this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised, as the front desk was especially helpful and friendly (Especially Geeta!). The rooms were nominally clean, but the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. What really amazed me was how quiet it was. It's on a main street, busy all night, and very near the airport, but once I was in my room, I couldn't tell at all. That was an absolute delight as I'm a very light sleeper, and I was just getting over pneumonia. Breakfast left a little to be desired- simple and routine by BW standards, but I would have expected the sausage patties to be cooked a bit more and less "steamed". Real cream for the coffee was hard to find, and I would hope that they would add it to the regular offerings. But considering that the coffee itself was above average, and the rest of the breakfast was pretty good, I've no complaints. I will be staying here again. Good location, quick, clean shuttle to and from the airport, and exceptionally friendly staff. Thanks to all who made this a nice evening.
We spent the night at this Best Western when we were on unable to get out of LAX to Honolulu. What a great find! Though their shuttle was unable to to pick us up, Geeta quickly dispatched a shuttle from a sister Best Western. Problem-solving at its best! Also, hats off to Jose, the shuttle driver, for being a great guy, and getting us to the hotel in short order. Even though we were bummed out that we did not catch our flight to Honolulu we were warmly greeted by Geeta, Ynai and Iris upon check-in. Their friendly demeanor quickly put us in a better mood. The room we were assigned was a pleasant surprise. It was spacious, clean, and quiet. Another pleasant surprise was that there was a great Mexican restaurant just next-door. After refreshing ourselves with drinks and a good meal, it was off to bed for a great night's sleep The next day we quickly checked out, took the shuttle, and went on our way to Honolulu. We will definitely stay here again when we have a layover at LAX.
Beautiful room clean great view staff was excellent on-site restaurant was a very pleasant pleasing place to have breakfast would recommend it to all my family and friends look forward to going back and spending more time
From the management to the maid service 6stars ?????? I would definitely be staying here more often I'm a diamond member so they treat you as such thanks for being the best Bestwestern in Los Angeles for real
Pros: 1) Staff are helpful and wonderful. 2) Maximum 4 floors. Room is nice and big. 3) Free Wifi, Breakfast area is small, acceptable varities, nothing fancy. Downside: 1) Only ONE elevator servicing all guest + housekeeping staff. 2) Washing machine (1) + Dryer (1) on level 2, so need to wait for your turn. Machines are coin operated. 3) Far from malls - Best to take UBER.
First experience staying at this hotel. Location and amenities are just perfect. Front desk personnel ready made a wonderful impression on us. So accommodating and friendly. Plenty of parking in the hotel parking facility. Then up to our room, wow. Large tv, comfortable couch and bed, and it was very clean. I like a very cold room when I sleep. I actually got cold. When I changed the temperature the air conditioner adjusted immediately. Shuttle to the airport was on time and courteous.
Needed a hotel close to airport prior to a cruise. was able to book at best Western for a good rate. It was conveinient and suited our needs. There was avery good mexican restaurant 1/2 block from the hotel. The shuttle service was good. Would stay again.
We stayed at the Best Western Inglewood on our last night in USA following a road trip. We were flying out the following morning. Everything was excellent. They picked us up from the car rental and in the morning took us to the terminal. Lovely hotel and great staff. Wish we had been there for longer. Many thanks. If you are flying in or out of LA this is the "Best" place to stay.
good hotel in great location for return car hire and lax, only down side the area surrounding it is not very nice.Geeta at reception was particularly nice an very helpful.Breakfast was good ,buffet style with a few hot choices can get busy though.
I needed a hotel to stay overnight in the proximity of LAX and the car rental return point. This is an excellent location, its just a few miles away from Alamo (my car rental provider). The hotel has its own parking garage (cost $10 p/n). The room was spacious and comfortable and had all the facilities I needed (fridge, coffee machine, nice bed and shower, desk and great WIFI. My room had also a small living room section. The TV screen size was big, but the tv signal was analog and of poor quality. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast was included and was good. The price is relatively higher than other hotels I have stayed during my three weeks California trip, but this is probably due to its proximity to LAX.
Never have I met a more rude staff, they act like they are doing a favor allowing you to stay there..be wary,if like me your business holds u over a day or two..they will lock u out of your room, denying your partner access until you come in for them to decide if you can hold over..and when you do arrive in the evening they choose to throw you out..we had to rellocate to a nearby property
This is a great hotel base when staying in LA and / or transiting thru LAX. If you need to get onto the freeway it is quick and easy, if you need to go shopping for necessities there are those close by. There's a pretty cheap coin laundry two minutes walk away, a 24 hour convenience store, even a liquor store just across the road if your liver is feeling lonely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are happy to help day and night. This is my go-to hotel travelling in and out of LA. If you've got a late-night flight the charge per extra half day stay is very reasonable. Covered parking is secure and always available in my experience. A motorcycle-friendly establishment too when on 2 wheels instead of 4. And a nice compact sunny pool.
On the way to Unforgettable Smiles Dentistry, we stayed here. It is a clean Hotel with great prices. We were taken care of at the front desk by Nancy & Joselin. They gave us recommendations and places to go for dinner. We felt at home with them.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Their pool and spa is a good place to watch the airplanes come into LAX and to watch the sunset. The staff is helpful and friendly and I would stay here again.
It's a good hotel, I enjoyed the stay very much because the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very diversified. I had bad luck that during my stay there were construction works on the Century Boulevard and that was annoying but this has nothing to do with the hotel.
I had the chance to stay in this hotel back in October. While the hotel was pleasant the service from one particular front desk clerk was amazing. Nancy greeted me like we were old friends. She knew we were coming in for a corporate meeting and recognized me. I am in the hospitality industry and by far she is one if not the BEST of the best. The next morning she was back at work again and recognized me by name. I even told her if she ever wanted to relocate to TX she was welcome to come on down. I travel to the area once a year for an annual corporate meeting and look forward to staying in this hotel again. They truly understand what good customer service is thank you Nancy!
We missed our flight and had ti stay one more night to catch next day flight. Nice and value for money for a big family when want to stay close to airport for a stop over. We stayed in 2 queen bed and 1 sofa bed room. Room was clean. They have a small parking. If you are coming in a big suv, parking will be very tight. Good for us we came in mini van.
Our room was more spacious than we expected & we were pleased with the shuttle service from & to the airport. The receptionists at the front desk were very personable and very helpful in recommending places for us to have dinner. However, the breakfast was truly awful.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room & hotel was very clean. Safe parking garage. It was 10 to 15 min. to the airport. The area was a little busy and not much to look at. Would stay there again.
The location of this hotel is very near LAX which makes it a good base when staying in Los Angeles and making trips out via LAX. Vehicular traffic in LA is unpredictable and best to stay clos to airport so not to miss flights. Location of this hotel is also near rental cars. Staff are very helpful on guest needs. Special mention to Geeta and Billy on the front desk. Airport Shuttle is free. No problem with wi-fi. Breakfast is good.
I drove down from SF Bay Area with boxes of files for one of our customers in Culver City (my wife flew down the day before to do bookkeeping work), so we needed a convenient overnight place to stay before the 384 mile return drive back. The reviews, alone sold me in our choice, but the experience exceeded my expectations. Although next to LAX Bradley, our room (actually a mini suite) was quite and comfortable, well-appointed and furnished; bathroom, Large, great towels, Great Shower; Coffee maker, sofa, comfortable bed, all excellent. Breakfast was serviced well, quality of selections good, and despite the large crowd of guests, we found room in the reception hall with comfortable tables and chairs near the restaurant. Basement Parking: convenient, safe, worth the $10 fee!!
Due to missing a connecting flight to Aus due to an American Airlines incident, the BW came to the rescue. The Airline allegedly had no 'hotel vouchers' left and displaced passengers had to find their own accom at 3.30am in the LA morning... Phoned several hotels, none answered. Phoned the BW. No problem: they had rooms, yes we could check in at 3.30am, yes we can have the room til 7pm for only a 1 day room rate, yes the courtesy shuttle can pick us up in 10mins. Room was good, with the usual amenities, staff were courteous and helpful (unlike the AA staff..) it's close to the airport. Would recommend.
We pulled into the hotel, and the parking garage was under the building- not to my liking. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. We checked into our room and were pleasantly amazed. Even though it was just another hotel, it was nice, clean and new. The view was nice, overlooking the pool. The room was quiet, the elevator up to the room was in good shape too, not noisy or clunky. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. The breakfast area was nice and clean, but small. The food was decent, with a normal size of variety. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, this is my new favorite for Inglewood. I almost forgot, it's really close to LAX, but I never even heard a plane going over! Rental car return was right down the road.
We chose this hotel because we were arriving at LAX in the evening and needed somewhere to crash that was served by an airport shuttle bus. The room was nothing special but clean and comfortable, although a little crowded for five of us, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good - lots of choice. The area seemed OK. What let this place down was the airport shuttle - we waited for well over an hour with three exhausted children for the bus to arrive at the airport while just about every other hotel shuttle came and went. The following morning the bus wasn't even running because there was no driver, and there was a queue of anxious people trying to get back to the airport for flights. In the end, the hotel manager jumped behind the wheel to resolve the situation.
Good hotel for an overnight stop near LAX. Very helpful and attentive staff, and the open plan room I had was well-presented. No restaurant thought except for self-service breakfast. Air con in the hotel lobby and breakfast area could be better.
This was our first time staying at this BW, and, if I ever have to fly out of LAX again, I'll most likely stay here again. Plenty of local restaurants within walking distance, and the 24 shuttle to LAX was great for my early morning flight, no need to take a TAXI!
This is a very average hotel with an overinflated price tag. The check in process was smooth and the room was clean but outdated. I would pay $75 a night for a room of this quality but due to the proximity of LAX they can get away with charging $800 taking advantage of the weary traveler. I will NEVER stay at a Best Western property ever again out of principle.
I made this reservation for my daughter, and I was very upfront with the staff that I would be paying for it. I was not told that I could NOT do that. When my daughter arrived, she was told SHE had to pay for the room. Despite my conversation with the manager on two occasions, she did not change her mind. I contacted the corporate office of Best Western about my situation, and she then contacted this particular location and asked them, as a one-time courtesy, to let me pay since I was not informed it would not be possible. The staff member at the corporate office stated that many of their Best Western locations have a form you can fill out stating one person will be staying, but the room will be paid for by someone else. Unfortunately this location does not participate. I was never informed about that either. Had I known about this whole scenario, I definitely would have found a different hotel for her - preferably a Best Western location that would be cooperative!
The room was very nice and and up to date. The customer service was awesome and everyone was friendly. Breakfast was very disappointing. It was not set up on time and the quality was poor. I expected more from Best Western.
Arrived late in the evening 10pm for a 6am flight next morning. Location convenient being about a mile from the car rental location and airport. Front desk especially pleasant and helpful. Checked in then dropped off rental car down street. Front desk arranged for shuttle to pick us up within minutes. Hotel itself is ok, due for renovation, but was very clean and a great location for early morning flight.
After a flight cancellation I had to find a hotel near LAX on short notice. I was so glad I called this Best Western Suites. Geeta, who answered my call at the front desk could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. The shuttle driver, Jose, was friendly and the hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool and hotel gym were also in good condition and a welcome relief after a long day.
Reasonably priced hotel not too far from LAX airport. Free wifi, breakfast and shuttle. You have to call the hotel to arrange for the shuttle to pick you up from the airport. If you live outside the US you can use skype and LAX's free wifi to call the hotel. The room was dated, but large and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The windows could be opened and were screened. Our room backed onto houses. There is a convenience store across the road and places where you can have lunch and dinner. The Panda Express Chinese was very good. Staff were all nice and professional.
Stayed at this hotel because it was close to where my business was taking place. Lots of road construction. The hotel is nice, immaculately clean, has a great breakfast but most of all has an amazing staff.
Im very satisfied with this visit, and have been using Best Western for several years, as I am a card holder, getting decent rates. Always clean and employees are attentive and helpful. My boyfriend and I do not do a lot of traveling, however, we do more "get out of town" trips to see family and friends. I am having trouble getting to 200 hundred characters. We came in late and just didn't bother to push for WiFi found out at the check out desk I could have called them
We stayed two night during our family road trip in June 2016. Clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. Great location and access to highways and only 15-20 min to Hollywood blvd, Santa Monica, Venice beach,..etc. Breakfast is good but the dining room is kind of small.
The hotel was nice. I'm just a little spoiled by my usual Best Western favorites (Simi Valley & Carpenteria). The window wouldn't lock and the only available electrical outlet was the one on the desk. I had to move the refrigerator and rearrange everything just to have enough outlets and an outlet near the bed for my phone. Other than that it was nice. Parking was good. I did appreciate the safety, cleanliness and reputation of staying at a BW hotel. Thank you!
This place is greedy, plain and simple. Oh, its a nice enough place, but at $350 per night, to assume that they are anything but opportunistic would be wrong. I am a best western diamond elite member, although it is certain even at that exorbitant price, they dont recognize their elites, extend any of the customary courtesies or even participate in the rewards program in the most general sense. While checkin was fast and smooth, they actually told me they try to charge as much as possible, as if $350 per night was simply not enough. This place would be great at $220 a night. They dont have a restaurant, lounge, the rooms are small but clean. Free shuttle to LAX which is 5 minutes away. But still, for $350 per night you need to be a very nice place, with very nice and numerous amenities, which this place clearly does not have. Do yourself a favor, find a place 10 miles farther, for a third of the price and invest $75 in a cab to the airport and you will still save $50 in the end. If all you care about is location, then spend that very high dollar cost. Surprisingly, for that price all I could get was a smoking room. But, it was not overly smelly. Breakfast was the most basic, and for the price, you can certainly beat days inn or super 8. For that price in fact, you really need a restaurant with a full service breakfast. Not impressed. I generally did like the service.
I was only there for 1 night but was very pleased with my entire stay at this property and because I also work at a bw I will be telling my coustomers that are heading in that direction to stay at this property .everyone who worked there was friendly
Older surroundings, older room. Water not topped up daily, no tissues in box. But clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is better than most budget hotels. Consists of cereals waffles fruits yoghurt hard boiled eggs and few others.
I had no problems with this hotel. I am a female and traveled alone. I felt safe. Who roams around hotels while on vacation anyway? I'm writing a review because some of the reviews I read before booking were crazy and had me a bit fearful. The staff was kind and helpful. The restaurants around it were just for a quick bite. Go elsewhere if you want better. The rooms were clean and very decent. The only thing that I didn't like was that the city was doing construction on the entire street and it affected the entrance to the hotel.
I have stayed in several of the LAX airport hotels as I teach in a location very close to the airport for a couple of auto parts suppliers. This one balances price (always too high for my liking) with comfort and convenience. The pool is on the small side for swimming laps but still nice enough. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, which is very important for me as I sleep in the afternoons before teaching at night. The breakfast starts service at 5:30 which means I can grab a little something before hitting the road to avoid the awful traffic, or at least the worst of it. I will stay here again.
room is nice. water pressure at the shower is weak. air conditioning in the room makes a lot of noise. no HD tv. no save. breakfast is very good. parking garage is also very confortable, but 10$ a night. close to the airport.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Arrived late in the evening having just arrived in LA and were driving to the grand canyons. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. And breakfast was a lot nicer then we expected. Great first night stay
When tackling those early A.M. LAX departures, this is my hotel of choice. Easy parking, outstanding staff and very fair price for the quality and amenities of each room. The rooms are quiet regardless of the hotel's location off a major street. Early morning departures are done with great ease and they even offer you a "to go" bag of fruit and water for the breakfast buffet you might miss.
Our experience was a good one. Geeta was very helpful at check-in, very professional and friendly. The room was clean and everything worked well. The bed was great and appeared clean and neat. The pool area is nice, but being along a busy road and in the LAX flight path makes for quite a bit on noise. The hotel location was convenient to LAX and the shuttle pick up was convenient and prompt .
Room was very spacious and king size bed was huge. Staff really friendly, this was a great stay and experience. Only down fall is that you have to pay for parking $10.00 a day in a super small garage.
Close by airport, average BW breakfast was good, wifi needs upgrading - too slow. Bed comfy, room spacious, good for doing your work or just relaxing with family. Main complaint is slow wifi. My entry light was burned out but that can happen any time. Told management to replace.
Arrived at 630am after long flight from Australia, the staff organised my room so i could go and freshen up before spending a day in meetings. While room was getting organised--had coffee and breakfast from their small buffet/eatery--not a massive selection but all the staple food groups. Room was ready by 730am, so quick shower and i was out--in teh meantime they organised my taxi and it was downstairs ready for me.. Massive room, with lounge, business desk, fridge and microwave and coffee making. Was worried when there is complimentary earplugs left in the room...but these werent needed--was pretty quiet. Highly recommended for a one night stayover
Great service, great food, very welcoming ... It's one of the best service i encounter in a long time. They work as a team and get out of their way to make sure you have a enjoyable stay in Los Angeles, with how to get a good deal in a car rental to where to order food after hours, have their driver pick you up at the rental car place or the airport 24/7.
Once we got the shuttle bus to come to the right terminal at LAX we arrived at BW and found receptionist Iris very helpful and the whole experience was fine. The Mexican restaurant nearby which Iris recommended was good fun and good value. We made our call to request the shuttle from the free hotels phone in LAX Arrivals around 6pm. No doubt this is a busy time for check-ins but the reception desk kept us on hold for at least 5 minutes and then failed to send the bus to the correct terminal. We waited for half an hour then phoned again for the bus. We had to wait a long time again to speak to anyone but eventually got a bus sent to the right terminal. From first requesting the bus to it actually delivering us to the hotel was well over an hour. After an 11 hour flight from London, 8 hour time shift and over an hour getting through immigration the time wasted with the shuttle was bad news. However the Best Western experience thereafter was good.
Staff were so very pleasant; check in was easy. I was unable to maintain a steady internet connect and kudos to the front desk because when I called, not only did the ask the host to reset the signal, but followed up twice to see if it had been rectified. Sometimes it is just the room location. I had steady internet in that particular room for about an hour and then it became unstable once again. The staff and all other aspects of the stay were stellar!
the Hotel as well as the room was ok - nothing to complain. but the area is a very special - very noisy because of the street with lots of traffic. otherwise it is very convinient as it is very close to the airport. reception extremely friendly and helpful - thanks for that.
My son and I were visiting San Luis Obispo and stayed here the night before our flight from LAX. Upon arriving Jo checked us in and was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean and also has nice ammenities such as a full size hair dryer and nice travel size shampoos/lotions. I wouldn't recommend walking outside at night as it could be sketchy, but 90% of LA is sketchy at night so.... There's an amazing mexican restaurant two buildings down from the hotel. We weren't able to try the breakfast bar but they offer a grab and go bag for early morning flights. If I'm ever in the area again I'd definitely stay here again.
Pretty average hotel, with average continental breakfast. Bed was comfy and generally very clean though. Depending on the price would stay here again if only for one night. Free shuttle bus to and from the airport was convenient. Staff were friendly enough. Wifi very inconsistent.
The hotel location is not good it is not safe to walk outside at night as there are many homeless and transients hanging about at the nearby restaurants. The hotel elevator security key card does not work even the sign says use key card at all times. They should remove the sign if they don't care. The bathtub drains too slow and causes you to stand in water when you shower. Wifi is too slow at times. Continental Breakfast is poor go look at Holiday Inn Express and how to do it right. Only 1 elevator so you wait a lot for the elevator.
Close to Los Angelas Airport. The shuttle did not make regular rounds to the airport, but did pick-ups and drop-offs upon request. Driver arrived quickly and was helpful loading our luggage both on the way there and back. Had to pay $10 to rent a crib for the night, but otherwise great stay! Good continental breakfast, room was clean and impressive. Would stay again!
Very comfortable stay with friendly front office staff, very friendly and helpful ladies cleaning the room and supplying fresh towels, I surely was impressed and also appreciated the smoking area and the supply of an ashtray as no other hotel I stayed in supplied this facility and I stayed in the Comfort Inn in Settle, the Baroness in Seattle, The Flamingo in Los Vegas and the your facility I enjoyed most and got the most value for my money. Thank you
The entrance on curbside was all torn-up for street work. Not cool- but necessary. The rest of the hotel was nice; upscale, clean and professional personnel to greet you. Geeta is the desk clerk and she was the BEST!
We had a great experience at this fine hotel. The staff was helpful with all of our questions and needs. The room was clean, neat, and attractive. We were happy to see the scale which we used to weigh our luggage.
We had an excellent with our recent stay at the Best Western Plus. Josey at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, quick and efficient. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was perfect. Will return if I am in the area.
Wifi not working. Tub did not drain well at all. TV channel guide not updated. Garbage overflowing from trash bin outside hotel. More like a motel than hotel, had to walk up stairs with luggage, no elevator.
Hotel is spacious and located a couple blocks from Fox and Thrifty car rentals. Complimentary shuttle to LAX. Breakfast area is very small and crowded. Workout facility is poor. Overall a great place to stay when catching a flight out of LAX.
Near the airport, inside parking with elevator, and a lot of restaurant alternatives nearby. The room are spacious but the furniture are a little old. The breakfast is, as always at Best Western, regular and crowded. Staff is nice.
The hotel was clean and room spacious. It's only about 10 minutes by free shuttle and staff are helpful. Keep in mind if you're walking anywhere that the sidewalk is being dug up at the moment but should be completed soon. Bathroom was spotless with plenty of storage. Reasonable rates for an overnight stay near the airport.
Clean spacious room that has everything required to prepare for your journey. Quiet and comfortable sleep. Staff courteous, helpful and attentive. Well worth the short stay. Plenty of choices to eat next door and accross the road.
Hotel was reasonable in price and its location was great for the airport. The quality of the hotel and its facilities were good. Great for a few days stay, and a walks distance to the Hop on and Hop off buses for seeing Hollywood and surrounding areas.
We enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle in returning our rental car and getting to the airport hassle free! Had a good night's rest before we took our flight to the Philippines. This BW was a comfy, neat & clean place to stay. The staff were all great and friendly. We will return to this property the next time we fly out of/into LAX.
We stayed here one night on our travel to Hawaii and one night from Hawaii - which we have done before. The hotel is nice and clean. Geeta in reception very kind and service minded. Shuttlebus perfect. Breakfast could be better.
After having been denied early check-in at a nearby BW Plus hotel despite being a platinum customer, it was delightful to be warmly welcomed at this one. It's a very quick drive from the car rental offices at LAX, so it's a good place to get some rest after a long flight or before going home. My only complaint would be that the noise from next-door rooms was very bad at times. A basketball tournament seemed to be taking placing in the room just above mine, and it kept going until late at night, making sleep hard to find. Get a top-floor room to minimize the problem.
We stayed 6 nights here to be close to our son in Culver City and the LA sights. The hotel was clean, and all the employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning had a nice selection and good way to start the day. The fitness center was great for a morning workout. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. It was relaxing to sit out there and watch the planes come in but never heard them while trying to sleep. There is a 7-11 across the street which is convenient and very close to the 405. We will definitely stay here again.
Lovely stay with helpful staff, huge, comfortable bed in clean well appointed room. Breakfast is ok. Mexican Restaurant next door and other food and general store opposite. Staff organised stuff for me via email and it was all set when i arrived. The road is obviously busy, with roadworks so its not the best look when you arrive. Its LAX, its busy!
We had a very nice stay in this hotel with our family and we booked the room for 6 pax. The room was large and clean. Staff is very nice and they provide free shuttle for LAX. The pool was nice and in the pool you can see planes touching down and taking off. Hot water Jacizzi was great. Very satisfied.
Friendly staff, great location, spacious rooms and great buffet breakfast available. Close to restaurants, walking distance to public transport and airport transfers at any time of the day. Nothing to fault.
We booked a king smoking whirlpool room. The price was decent at $187 with the parking fee. The room was very clean and quite large. The bed was comfortable with plush pillows. Only negative was that the blankets could have been thicker. If you tend to be cold, ask for extras. A bonus was the keurig coffee maker. The jacuzzi easily fits two and was the perfect way to relax after our flight. The construction in the area did make getting in and out difficult, and walking across the street to the adjacent convenience stores and restaurants was a task. The one very annoying thing about our stay was how incredibly slow the elevator operates. Check in and check out was easy and pleasant and didn't take too long. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
We loved the room, the hot tub was great. Just what we needed in such a busy city. The breakfast was hot & filling with a good variety. Great coffee in the room. Over all a great stay. The Staff was Great.
Hotel was close to the Airport, Fee Airport Shuttle to and From, 24hrs a day, Staff of the Hotel and Shuttle drivers extremely nice and friendly. Made you feel like home. Hotel check in was fast and efficient. Rooms were nicely laid out, bed could have been a bit softer. Everything else was really nice. Rooms have thick walls, but this floor and ceilings. You could here people walking around above and below. Hotel is in the middle of a concrete jungle, no restaurants around too walk to. 7-11 across the street, but that's it. So if you needed to go somewhere to eat, be prepared to drive or cab it. I picked the hotel for it's close proximity to the airport.
Found hotel adequate. Pool and hot tube were clean and enjoyable. Room was large and comfortable. Bath was kept clean with plenty of towels. We had no problem getting a roll-away bed. Only problem was there wasn't much choice nearby for our lunch or dinner.
Over the last five years I have stayed at the property several times while on business. Nice rooms, suprisingly quiet, good breakfast in the morning and close to my clients in West L.A. Staff is always attentive.
This is a convenient hotel to lax but an older hotel that needs some work. The room was noisy as it was over Century Blvd and the neighborhood was rundown. Shower flow was very weak and not real clean. Parking was tight. Elevator (there was only one and very slow) was always a challenge and taken over many times by the maids.
nice pool, comfy bed. there was a bit of a mix up about our late check out but i believe that was a clerical mistake by the lady who checked us in. Really helpful breakfast staff. we had a vegan with us and they made sure she had some soy milk to go with her cerial
Staff extremely helpful to arrange shuttle to and from LAX. Breakfast associates were also very detailed and kind. Construction outside the hotel? many trenches on the road and sections of the sidewalk closed.
We were just off the plane from Sydney and had endured nearly 3 hours clearing customs in LAX. The free shuttle took a little while to arrive but took us straight to the door. Check-in was painless, the room suited a family of 5 with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Breakfast was pretty good. The shuttle bus to the car hire arrived as booked. We would recommend for overnight stay after a long flight. Our only minor gripe was that the floors were very thin and we could hear everything going on in the room above us (although most people won't have their radio that loud). We would definitely be happy to stay here again.
It was good to be close to the airport. To have breakfast supplied and a free shuttle service. It will be much better when road works have been completed out the front. This is no fault of the hotel. Very good experience.
Very nice front desk and eating area. Everyone friendly and outgoing. The room was very nice for the money. Airport Shuttle available. Thanks, Josey, Iris and Flo. Noise from the room upstairs was bothersome.
The staff was nice. The hotel only has one elevator so waiting for the elevator may take some times. The noises from the upstairs room kept us up most of the night. There is a slight mildew odor since the room is old and musty. The location for the hotel is convenient since it is next to the Freeway.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Bed very comfortable and room had everything you need. Shuttle service excellent except we couldn't find phone to ring them. Breakfast was excellent also.
This is our annual holidays. Every year we come with the whole family and have a stop at The Best Western PLUS Suites Hotel, with its big rooms for us five people. Internet is very important for our kids and this service is very excellent!!
Loved our stay here. We had a nice large clean room with nice furniture, fridge and micro wave. The closet had a full door mirror. It had a good size bathroom with lots of counter space and a large mirror. AC was quiet and worked well. Staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Geeta at the front desk). The free breakfast was very good with lots of choices but with limited seating. The bed was very comfy and the rate was very good value for the location. Airport shuttle is provided. There is a very good Mexican restaurant and a liquor store walking distance from the hotel.
My husband and I are so impressed with BW that we only stay with you wherever we travel. The biggest asset you have is your people, and on this occasion the standout is Geeta, a front desk person. Tag this one and know she really makes BW stand out. She is warm, gracious, and very helpful. This is the face I like to see when I walk in weary from travel.
Next to the Airport and to the Highway. Friendly staff and clean Rooms. Intercontinental breakfast was good. Only the Pool and the Gym were a little bit to small. The Location is good to start your Sightseeing and its only 10 minutes by car from Venice Beach.
Room to room noise was quite annoying, the floor above our room creaked a lot when anyone above us moved at all. Beds were to hard and uncomfortable. We stayed because we had an early morning flight, otherwise we would have left after the first night. Front desk staff was very nice.
Stayed here for 2 nights straight off a flight from London. Things didn't start well ,it took about 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. However on arrival the desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a bit dated and rooms are large but need redecorating. Parking is $10 per night (although we didn't get charged!) and is underground and fairly secure. Breakfast is free, a bit limited but the staff once again very good. All in all we'd stay here again
Nice clean place in a great location - near LAX, next door to a mexican restaurant, across street from a liquor store & some fast food places. Minimal waiting for free shuttle. Free breakfast was not bad either.
Location is pretty far from turist attractions as Hollywood and Disney Land however yet with a strategic location due to good communications to/from LAX via hotel's own shuttle buses. LAX in turn has Flyaway buses for easy connection to Union station. Thus we stayed actually three nights in contradiction to the probably more typical single overnight for a hotel expected being an Airport hotel.
Great location, close to airport - free shuttle. Several restaurants nearby. Great value and helpful staff. Room was nice. They even had the free muffins and coffee ready when we left at 4 am on the shuttle..
Good Hotel and Great staff that make you feel welcome Room is really good, bar fridge good size, microwave, coffee machine everything you need. Across the road from local shops, a great Loco Poco restaurant and laundry, breakfast set up is really well laid out and manned and staff cant do enough for you Only design down side is the floor above made a lot of squeaking throughout the night hard to sleep We will book again just request a room on the 4 floor to avoid noisier foot steps Great value
The Best Western Plus hotels are excellent properties. The hotels provide shuttle services to and from the hotel and also serve breakfast. The staff are very well trained to provide their guest with quality service. The front desk employees are willing to assist in anyway. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable.
close to lax airport with free shuttle. not much around the hotel for amenties. great for a one night stay for the airport that's it. I would spend my one else where unless the rate is lower that other hotels. Stay closer to the ocean
BW Plus has now become my goto LA stay. Geeta at the front desk is always a pleasure and the rooms are always in top form. Using the Best Western mobile app is a breeze to make reservations. Bonus is the little bag of Hershey kisses upon arrival :-)
You were very accommodating in picking us up at the car rental location. Geeta was very helpful in setting that up and welcoming us on our arrival. The room was clean and more than adequate. The breakfast was nice.
Stayed for 2 nights before heading elsewhere. Very nice and helpful, smiling staff. Had suite on 4th floor, a bit outdated but very well maintained and clean - no noise issues. Had frig & coffee maker. Wifi free, a bit spotty. Transportation to/from airport quick and easy. Breakfast offered a lot of choices & was good however not restaurant quality. The eating area could be expanded, a little tight organizing your plate & lacked a bit of seating, you get a closed in feeling. General store across the street & a few fast food places. Fun watching the street and planes come in from the pool area. Wouldn't go out at night in that area. Overall good deal for price paid.
Geeta was VERY friendly and helpful at the front desk. Exceptional employee. The room was very nice and comfortable and the parking was easy. I felt the smell of the floor we were on which was the 4th was much like old man B.O. and could improve. Also i was told I would receive my folio via email but never did so i had to call.
This is a wonderful hotel. My only issue is with the air conditioner. It goes on and off all night, making it hard to stay asleep. Hotel air conditioners should stay on constantly, whether or not it is cooling. Loved the staff.
We had a terrible stay. They need to eliminate the constant Marijuana/pot smell from the NON smoking rooms and hallway. Clean/disinfect their bathrooms, remove all hair from toilet seat… use longer bags for the garbage cans, they are two small. Eliminate the bathroom doors from automatically slamming every time you go in or out. Better Security for after-hours party noise.
customized shuttle service to and from the airport a big plus. comfortable suites. great price. my "go to" place when I have a layover at LAX. a variety of places to eat within walking distance. My only suggestion for improvement is to have HD channels since there is a large flat screen TV in the room.
Not a normal quality best western hotel. poor condition of room which need to be updated urgently. Lack of clean feeling and beds reek of smoke smell as well as the room itself. Except for the location, I would not venture into this hotel again.
Friendly staff, breaffast just ok. Close to the airpor and car rental location. Would not go out at night because it is a freaky neirborhood when it is dark. Room on third floor ok. It is a n older hotel.Carpets needs replacement
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff is extremely efficient and professional. Appearance of hotel is very classy - very good value. Made us feel very important in a large city - this place takes excellent customer service very seriously. :)
Enjoyed excellent stay at this hotel, close to airport with free airport transfer, free breakfasts which were enjoyable. Very good service with a smile, no request was too difficult for the staff. Lovely pool and rooftop spa
Shuttles available to and from the airport and very helpful if you have business at the airport. Lots of choices for meals within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and have in room refrigerators and an excellent coffee maker. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Would recommend this hotel to stay for stopovers. The staff are great and helpful. The size and cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. Having breakfast is good though it could be improved. We stayed in BW Plus in San Pedro and their breakfast is better. Having a complementary hotel shuttle is excellent as well. Free wifi is a bonus.
really exceptional the team at the reception area - and the shuttle bus manager were excellent at their jobs. I will always go to this hotel first if rooms are available. I was extremely impressed that when I returned my rental car, the shuttle service picked me up and took me back to the hotel.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome.. The room was very clean. Shuttle to and from the airport was great! When you need a ride to the airport give the hotel a call from the airport and let them know you have arrived. Our stay was very short but got the rest we needed.
Before taking off from LAX, or upon landing, make sure to book your mini suite a the Best Western plus hotel on Century boulevard. Not only you are welcomed by an always smiling desk executive such as Geeta who will take good care of you but you will have the pleasure to relax in a extra large room with all the commodities like a fridge and a microwave. And before or after a trip the jacuzzi is a must stop to reinvigorate yourself. The location is also far away enough from the landing area of the airport which means its a very quiet hotel, especially compared to so many hotel in the area. So enjoy and book your night now!
The staff were nice and professional although a maid mistakenly knocked at my door even if I did not need service. Early morning breakfast was decent and had eggs, airport pickup wait time was reasonable, comfortable bed, clean room.
Came here after a 12 hour day and a proposal at Disney. The check in and out process was smooth and quick. However we did checked in late (11PM) and out early (7AM) Hotel room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Elevator seemed a bit old but that was really a non factor. Was able to use their business center to print off boarding passes for free. If you are using their shuttle service and have a big group be sure to get there early, there was only room for 3 more people in the van when we had 5 not including the driver.
the facility needs work. Broken phone,tv and entry(sidewalk) completely gone. closed off! This makes it hard to find a restaurant especially in the pouring rain trying not to get killed by cars during our stay. Not a best western plus in any way at all... Will not be using for my business trips any longer.
Hotel was clean and quiet. There are some resteraunts close by along with a 7-11 across the street.Shuttle service was good and staff was courteous and helpful when asked questions about area.tour information and brocheres where handy and well stocked
We found the staff- both at the desk and the service employees pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean, pleasantly decorated, with good amenities for the price. There was noise from being close to the airport the last night of our stay but one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the airport- so not productive to complain
I stay at several Best Westerns all over the US. This being a Plus hotel does make it one of the higher price BW places to stay at but it does have higher end amenities to go with it. I have stayed there twice now. The only problem I have had was being given a smoking room on one trip. When I realized the room would not work for me and called the front desk; they had new room for me in under two minutes. You do have to pay for parking but the garage is under ground and would not be easy for someone not staying at the hotel to get to. Internet was easy to hook up to and plenty fast for the streaming I used it for. The breakfast was good and well stocked both times I have been there. I will stay here again if I am in the area.
very good deal i love this place, located very close to airport and very friendly staff , breakfast at morning very helpful, recommend it, swimming pool at the hotel but we did not use it reasonable price
We had a good night sleep at the Best Western Plus, but this was not our destination place. The location for this hotel was convenient for us, just a few miles outside LAX airport. Transportation from LAX to the hotel was included. Our stop here was by own arrangement to meet up with a cruise. We could tell that good things are happening at the hotel, because of the reconstruction and remodeling that was underway. During our visit, half of the driveway entrance was barricaded as new sidewalks and concrete were in process of being formed. Service was good. We were greeted kindly upon arrival. The heated pool helped us to relax for the evening. Breakfast was provided in serve yourself manor, giving us scrambled eggs, bacon, hot and cold cereals, Danish rolls, coffee, tea, and fruit juices. My overall rating for our stay is average due to my disappointment about the cost for one night as compared for what we got. I feel that I paid for a night at a remote resort but was given a night in an urban hotel with renew underway. I could stay here again, but maybe after the remodeling was complete.
Spent 4 nights in this hotel. Rooms are updated and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Although close to the airport, noise level was at a minimum. Only negative was the location, area somewhat seedy, but what can you expect from an airport hotel. You do feel sage once inside of the hotel property.
Our stay here was terrible. My friend couldn't even sleep because she felt the blankets were old and dirty and the smell was terrible. I would never come back here again. Also when we got to the hotel, they were doing construction in the street that you could hardly find our way into the hotel. The hotel should of told us this when we booked the hotel. Terrible experience , will never go back there.
After traveling from San Diego to Camarillo, we were looking for a place near the airport for our return home. This Best Western fit the bill. Evening dining was an easy walk. Breakfast was onsite. We will stay here again.
I would definitely recommend anyone flying into LAX, looking for a comfortable, affordable, and pleasant hotel...stay at the Best Western Hotel, Inglewood. The staff will treat you like royalty and make sure your stay is enjoyable. From the the front desk staff, to housekeeping and other staff members at the hotel, they ALL treat you like you're staying at a 5-Star palace. It's very clean, beds are comfortable, in-room internet service is excellent, the continental breakfast is nice, and they have underground parking for a fee. But don't worry...it's very safe and convenient with security cameras all around. The area was very quiet at night and the overall stay was the most pleasant with an atmosphere of being treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
The hotel Staff (Geeta) were very helpful, the hotel rooms are dated but clean. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. Great location, very close to LAX. And a shuttle service that was quick and convenient.
Best western is a range of qualities, and this hotel is at the upper end. Clean, quiet, pleasant efficient service. I will definitely return.I always prefer a Best Western when one is in the area of need, and this hotel is an example of why.
My family and I stayed overnight in between flights at LAX. It's very close by. To be fair, we didn't spend much time in the hotel, as we spent the day exploring and left early the next morning. That said, I really wanted to highlight the excellence of the staff. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions, they were a delight. As a pleasant surprise, they even helped us after our stay! Our youngest forgot his favorite stuffed animal in the room, and didn't realize it until we had arrived in Hawaii. A quick call to the hotel revealed that the cleaning staff had found it, and they promised to keep "duckie" safe until our return in two weeks. A fortnight later, we found him wrapped up safely, waiting for us at the desk. Made our day!
Everything I was looking for to just have a good nights rest before flying out of LAX the next day. They had a free airport shuttle, adequate breakfast included and a very comfortable bed.It was clean and the personnel helpful. Airport shuttles on the hour and you need to reserve a spot before you need it.
Jo is an outstanding staff member; she recommended a very good restaurant and spoke Spanish perfectly, which made communication so much easier. The room was very nice and the hotel is in a good location for quick trips.
What do you want me to review. This is unclear. I don't know what you want me to review. My stay at your hotel was as expected. the room was clean. The room was expected. I had not expected breakfast. It was good and fresh. The front desk personnel helped me find a place for dinner in the evening. I will look for Best Western hotel first when traveling; not only when stranded by the air lines, but anytime I am traveling. My traveling usually doesn't take to places where I don't have accomidations but when I do, Best Western will be at the top of my list for a place to sleep. t
Good value and a great place if you need a hotel close to LAX airport. The amenities are not fancy but there is a hot tub, pool, and a gym that do the trick! Also the breakfast is plentiful and there are loads of options. I would say the Best part of this hotel however is the staff. From the receptionist to the shuttle driver they truly go out of their way to help you and smile the whole time! The front desk person actually arranged for the shuttle driver to pick me up at the rental car drop rather than the airport, even though it is not on his way.
I checked in at 10 pm after a very long day. The desk clerk was extremely welcoming and friendly. So nice to receive a friendly smile at the end of a long day. She called my room a few minutes after I had checked in to make sure everything was working, which it was. I was leaving at 5 am the next morning and booked the airport shuttle (about a five minute drive to LAX). She informed me the complimentary breakfast was not usually served until 5:30 am but she would ask the night auditor to make sure some items would be available for me at 5am. When I checked out at 4:45 am the next morning, the desk clerk told me the same thing and had arranged for the several items to be available for me (fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, breads and pastries) what an excellent level of service. A great hotel and excellent location for those early morning flights back to the east coast.
Hotel was comfortable, near to several restaurants, served an adequate breakfast and provided free wifi. Our room 215 was large and quiet overlooking a residential area. Reasonable price and proximity to airport make it a good choice for stopovers between flights.
roadwork being done outside but not the hotels fault. Staff all beyond reproach, charming, couldn't do enough to please. They made a bit of a tired hotel decor-wise into a Rolls Royce experience. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. breakfast wasn't great but the coffee was fine, still better than most US hotel fodder
I usually stay at this hotel when flying in from the UK to LA. It's good value, close to the airport and the shuttle will drop you off at the car rental. The Mexican bar next door is quite a fun place too.
Excellent hotel but they do not tell you ahead of time that you have to phone for the shuttle bu to come. you have to phone them and they will send it. We waited 1 1/2 hr at the airport. When we finally did phone they told us it would be 15 minutes but it was over an hour before it came. Geeta at the front desk was excellent when we arrived. Very helpful.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was and how clean and all the staff was so nice, Its not in the best area but everything is easy to get to from there. I would highly recomend it to anyone traveling to the LA area and staying close to the airport, I would definitively would stay here again with my family.
Room is very big and clear, service is really so wonderful, the people also very nice. It is really a good choice to stay here. The driver also very kindly for each person. Just the breakfast is really not so good, the items too few, and no hot food. Noodles will be a good advise.
In general a good option for a short stop in L.A. The room was of a very good size and well clean. Breakfast was good if U don't have a problem with regular food. Free internet access and free local calls. Hotel van from and to the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk.
This hotel is in a perfect location to LAX. We had a king sized bed with a sofa and the room was huge. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Every single hotel staff we talked to was very friendly. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone else looking. Breakfast is included which is always convenient. More warm options would have been nicer but I have no complaints.
The staff was prompt friendly and helpful for my personal needs. I found the building well maintained rooms clean and all the staff kind. Breakfast was sufficient for free. My wife was happy kids happy that gives dad a easier day. Good job Best Western !
Close to the airport decent hotel nothing too fancy but had a great stay. Our cab driver St the airport scared us and said this was in the hood. But we felt pretty safe we didn't explore down the street or anything . But we felt safe and the hotel was clean a little dated. But we were just here a night so it was perfect for what we needed.
Everyone, Housekeeping, Receptionists, Breakfast area personnel and (even the repair person we met and visited with while in the Hall) where very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Everything went smooth and timely with their help. The Beds where comfortable. We had 5 rooms for the 17 of us and everything was great.
Very nice accommodations. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous. I had not stayed her previously and was delighted at the facility. Jo on the front desk is awesome. The obvious security cameras and underground parking provided additional comfort and security.
I booked this hotel on the basis that my flight out of LA was cancelled at the last minute. Phoning the hotel from the airport to arrange pick up was no problem and the bus duly arrived and dropped me off 15 minutes later. I have to be honest, when I walked into the reception area, I thought the 11 hours on the plane had affected my perception of time so badly that I had time warped to the early 80's.....which is when I assume the hotel last had a makeover. The staff were lovely and helpful, no question. The room....probaby early 90's (I'm trying to be kind). Clean, functional and fine for an overnight. Breakfast was basic but filled a gap early in the morning.
Very good stay, close to the airport. Hotel staff very friendly, Geeta was outstanding trying to do everything to help us. Continental Breakfast available, good start for the day, would definitlly stay again and recomend to friends...
Very clean and tidy rooms, good beds and showering facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, also using the business suite for printing boarding passes was very handy. Overall very satisfied with my stay.
We stayed at this particular Best Western because we were attending an event at the Forum. It took us only 5 minutes to get to the Forum. The hotel is safe and clean with all the amenities you would expect at a Best Western Plus. Our room was at the back over looking a neighborhood so it was quiet. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.
We and another couple stayed here for one night in transit and found the hotel met all our needs including being very close to the airport with free airport shuttle and breakfast included. We had a day and a half in hand before our evening flight out of the US and the friendly hotel reception staff were great in helping us choose and book a couple of excursions. Our room was very large, immaculate (not so much dated as very traditional) and actually very quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows! Complimentary breakfast in the small dining room was self serve, fresh and simply tasteful and included hot and continental options. After we were given a late checkout we were still able to enjoy the lovely outdoor pool and spa for a few hours where we rested on the loungers, read and watched the planes coming and going. Would stay here again as it was really great value and ended our month long trip on a good note.
While the shuttle bus schedule seems to be a little iffy, everything else about this hotel is great. There was no problem for us to check in early (we were only staying the day as we had a midnight flight out). The room was comfortable (quite a bit of street noise in our room, but that hardly mattered for our stay) and clean, the staff very friendly, calling a shuttle for us when it was time to go. A plus in that right across the street was a choice of at least three restaurants. If staying the night, probably ask for a room on the side away from the street, but definitely recommended.
The hotel is updated and close to the LAX airport. The suite room was nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The only part that was difficult is parking, which it tight, and of course, you have to pay $10/night. I don't know about breakfast because we had to leave very early for a flight.
Great value and good location for a brief stop-over; close to Los Angeles International Airport. Airport Shuttle was very handy and great service. However the breakfast room was small, had to wait for seating or alternatively go and eat in the lobby. Elevator also needs an upgrade.
We stayed at this Hotel because our flight didn't leave til Monday. The room was very nice and comfortable. The shuttle service and drivers were the best. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
The hotel proved to be a most convenient location for LAX. We received outstanding service from a friendly staff. Convenient parking. I would recommend this facility for a business or leisure traveler.
Even with being on the flight path for LAX, the planes weren't too loud. Good breakfast in the morning, with lots of variety, though the room was a little crowded. The staff did a good job of keeping things stocked, and helping guests that had questions. Our room was very nice, and the price was good.
A great place to stay to get transportation from the airport and breakfast before you start you USA journey. We slept well after our late flight arrival. Room was very clean, toiletries provided and coffee machine with pods in room. Lots to choose from for breakfast too! Thank you.
I would highly recommend. The rates are very good, staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel, rooms - very clean and I felt safe and well taken care of. The pool area was spotless, the internet connection reliable and the phone is good working order. Elevators are located close to the rooms so getting where you want to go is easy. The shuttle service for airport travel was an additional bonus.
After an 11 hour flight this hotel ticked all the boxes. We rang for the shuttle from the free airport phones and only had a short wait to be collected, check in was quick and our room was great. You would never know this was so close to the airport as we did not hear any noise. Breakfast was acceptable and the shuttle driver dropped me off at Alamo to collect my hire car. Great service all round.
Very well localized for our purpose (near LAX). Good breakfast, which included hot & cold and dry & wet. Good bathroom, which is a crucial point when using hotels. Comfortable room dimensions. Reasonable and fair prices.
With my elementary school friend for 60+years , who lives in Michigan, she flies to LA every November to go swimming in Mexican resorts. So... We missed our flight to Puerto Vallarta on 11/18/15and were booked for next day. After solving the problems with private transportation and hotel for delay we decided not to return to home, but book the hotel next to LAX. And I recall that have membership with Best Wsrtn! Made reservation, shattle took us there and during the day we explored the Inglewood!!! U never know what is under the names of cities surrounding the Hollywood!!! Excellent hotel, very nice hosts, wery good dining places. If not delay we will never knew this city.
For a quick stop before moving on, I found this to be Great hotel, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, hot breakfast ready early, so I could have fill before going too the airport. Shuttle service was nice and timely.
We booked a room through Booking.com for our return trip from Costa Rica to stay overnight before an early flight the next morning. Unbeknownst to me at the time I booked the room was it was non-refundable which is entirely my responsibility. I tried calling both Booking.com and the hotel to see if I could cancel so that we could meet up and stay with my wife's father who was going to be in L.A. the same day and offered us a place to stay. I was informed by the front desk initially I had to call Booking.com to cancel. So I did, but they informed me that only the manager of the hotel could authorize the cancelation. So I called back the hotel and asked to speak to the manager after explaining the situation to the front desk again. The front desk again refused to cancel the reservation even though the rate I got from prepaying was identical to the rate you got if you made a normal reservation. In addition the manager according to the front desk was not around to speak to so we left a message on his voice mail. In addition the front desk would not volunteer the manager's name and only after several repeated requests did they finally reveal his name. This was day 1 of our Costa Rican trip. By day 3 we had not heard back from the manager so we called again, explaining the situation and were told the manager had just stepped out even though we were previously told the usual time he was in. Again we asked for the manager's name and we're met with similar reluctance to give us the manager's name and left another message on his voice mail. By day 7 of our trip we had still not heard back from the manager and called again for the manager. We were told this time he was in a meeting and they did not know when he would be available to talk. So we left our final message for him, but like all previous attempts we never received a call back. So in the end we stayed at the Best Western instead of meeting up with my father in law and still never saw a manager on site. So while I acknowledge I clearly did not pay attention when initially booking the room that it was non-refundable which is entirely my responsibility, but the total lack of customer support by the manager in an attempt to at least discuss the situation was abysmal. If you are ever in a situation where a manager might be required, do not stay here and stay at the Marriott instead.
It's a nice property to stay if your catching a flight the next day. Close to the airport with shuttle service and friendly staff. A few good places to eat if your not driving but if you are driving there is a lot of places. Would stay here again.
One of the few (maybe the only?) hotels at LAX that offer shuttle service that is not on a continuous shuttle loop where you are not sure when the shuttle is arriving or departing. Here, you can call the hotel when you have your bags at the airport and they will dispatch to shuttle to pick you up. You can also schedule a time to leave the hotel (in 30 min increments) to get to the airport. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Greeta, in particular, was very cordial at the front desk and remembered me on my return 5 days later.
This hotel is older, but for the price it is fairly nice. The beds are very comfortable and the entire hotel is very clean. The bathrooms are modern. The management and employees are very friendly and helpful. The free WiFi works well, and they have nice new TVs. They also provide a nice breakfast (better than I expected) that comes as part of the price. The hotel also provides hourly shuttles to LAX. If you have a group of two or more, they will schedule shuttles on the half hour. It is close enough to get to the airport in about 10 minutes, but far enough to not hear the noise of the airport & freeway. It is a good hotel near the airport at a reasonable price, then this is a good hotel to consider.
This hotel is older with dated furniture and is being renovated. The beds on two occasions were very comfortable and the place is clean. The bathrooms have been modernised and the water is hot. The WiFi works well. If you want a bed for the night at a reasonable price near the airport then this is it. They pick up and deliver to the airport.
Geeta at the front desk always has a beautiful smile, she's got great people skills, thorough and accommodating. The rooms have been consistently nice, spacious and clean. The View and area is average but with the proximity to all of LA's good stuff, the assistance from the staff and the comfort level this is a must stay.
Greeted by Jo at the front desk who quickly organised our room. Room was dated but clean. Clean comfortable bed. Shuttle service was slow, breakfast is included. I thought for the price great place to stay
I guess you get what you pay for. Although the rates are attractive, I was not impressed. The shuttle service was delayed and the Internet would not work as I only had one bar from their router. The room was clean although dated. I did not try the breakfast as I was in a hurry to get to the airport.
Was greeted by the lovely front desk lady who gave me the room no of 409. I stayed for two nights and overall the stay was great and expected. It is absolutely close to the airport roughly 5minutes by driving. We drove from Anaheim and car park was complimentary. Staff was helpful and the rooms were always superbly clean! The housekeeping staff has done a superb job! I will definitely stay here again if i do return back to LAX!
The room is clean and the hotel is close enough to the airport to allow a few more winks before catching the morning flight. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Getta. A nice affordable hotel when you are visiting Los Angeles.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at this Best Western location near LAX and car rentals. The beds were very comfortable, parking fee was only $10.00 per night and the breakfast included hot items and waffle maker. Registration/check-out staff were professional and friendly.
Everything was great. Picked up at LAX by Jose and greeted by Geeta an the hotel. Everyone was very knowledgeable and provided excellent information. Breakfast was outstanding with eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.. Very nice. Will definitely stay there again.
I always stay at Best Westerns but really loved this one! Needed an overnight to catch a flight out of LAX and this was perfect. The ambiance, location, shuttle to airport etc was all perfect...I would definitely stay there for a more extended stay in the future!
We were very happy with our suite which had a microwave, fridge, sofa and tv.The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, fruits, yogurt, etc so enough to eat.The front desk staff was very friendly.
This motel is located very conveniently to the airport- Although we had to wait for the shuttle for quite a while to pick us up after our flight, driver was very helpful and friendly. Shuttle bus needs to be updated some especially if you had a few people riding as difficult to crawl into and out of if you were sitting in the back. Motel itself is clean although it won't be too long it will require a remodel as somewhat outdated especially the elevator. Beds were very comfortable and linens were clean and soft. I would stay there again when in LA
Perfect home away from home. I prefer a hearty meal more so than a continental breakfast. Other than that nice comfy bed, all the amenities I prefer. I was surprised that free parking was not included in the reservation. But all and all I was very satisfied with my stay.
We had relatively spacious a king suite which is with a sofa, desk, microwave, fridge and a flat screen TV. The king bed was comfortable . The complimentary breakfast was very good, with sausage, bacon, egg patties, fruit, waffles, yogurt, and cereal. Elevators are slow overall and because we were placed right across the hall from the elevators it was a bit noisy and we could hear everyone coming and going. I would specifically ask for a room away from the elevator if you don't want to be woken up by late partiers coming in . The hotel is very close to the airport so very convenient and overall a good value.
No problems with check-in and check-out, the breakfast was spot on! The staff were attentive and friendly. Communication was clear and parking our 12 seater vehicle proved not a problem for this place. Thank you very much for the comfortable stay.
I know we were in a non-smoking room, but you could smell cigarette smoke the entire time. The front desk was extremely busy at night and in the morning, so I couldn't tell anyone. I'm just hoping the people actually do get charged a fine (doubt it or it wouldn't happen). Anyway, the room was large and comfortable. Needs updating a bit for the price, but it did have a strong wi-fi signal.
nice hotel with good localization and facilities, helpful staff, internet working properly , good breakfast comparing even with high level hotels in LA. Good communication with airport , shuttle bus on time , very close to LAX airport and to the main highway as well
We always stay here at the BW Plus Inglewood because it's close to the airport prior to departing back to our home state or getting off a red-eye flight. It's in a great location. Great service and staff.
This hotel is located in a residential area. It's close to the airport and Rosco's chicken Stayed here for 1 1/2 nights. They serve free breakfast, rooms have fridge and there is a outdoor pool and hot tub. A mini market just across the street with cvs liquor store etc and fast-food. Best Western isn't a 5 star but it meets the needs for a short stay I would recommend this hotel
the staff attends to guest's concerns quickly and completely. price and quality hard to beat. i have been here several times over the years and the place and staff are consistently impressive. my friends have thanked me for recommending this 'gem'!!
Recommend this hotel to anyone who want to stay close LAX. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Have excellent breakfast. Airport transfer is quick and easy. Room is very adequate with clean sheets and pillows. Excellent TV programs and toilet is clean. An excellent Mexican restaurant is only 400 feet away and 7-11 is just opposite side of the street. Cool and quiet AC unit and bed is very comfortable.
Great staff; helpful courteous, pleasant. Clean bright rooms with great tv and comfy bed; clean, fully stocked bathroom. Shuttle service to and from the airport is amazingly easy and helpful. Price is definitely reasonable (for LA that is). I've never written a review for a hotel, but this one deserves a pat on the back. I highly recommend it!
Husband and I stayed overnight here on our way home from Europe. They have a reliable, free shuttle from LAX to the hotel, and back again. The room was spacious and clean, and the expanded continental breakfast (which was included), was completely satisfying. We would definitely stay here again, if making an overnight connection.
Had an early flight, so stayed here the night before. Free shuttle service was an extra bonus. Front desk staff very helpful with shuttle info and offering wake up call if needed. Clean rooms and complimentary bottle water in fridge.
I thought this was a very convenient and pleasant option for flying out of the LAX airport. Staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Lowered the stress level several notches which was much appreciated.
We had a very pleasant stay at the BW in Inglewood. Hotel was well located, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the shuttle was on time but could have run a little more often. Every hour on the hour cut us a little close at LAX.
The shuttle from LAX was prompt and courteous. The reception was smooth, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we appreciated the modern amenities and ease of their use. The bathroom was clean and everything worked to the standard we would expect. The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. We will definitely make it our first choice the next time we pass through LA.
Very friendly staff, clean and well appointed room, good free breakfast with lots of choices. Did not take advantage of pool. Location ideal for business and perfect for access to LAX with free shuttle. Would recommend any time.
We stayed here one night before flying out early the next morning. The shuttle service was fantastic and on time. The pool area is great and cool to be able to watch all the planes coming in yet our room was very quiet.
We had an overnight stay before our flight the next day and found the hotel very nice. It was convenient to the airport and the staff were very helpful particularly Geeta who helped us when we had a problem of keys to the car and she called AAA and ensured we were Ok before we left. The room was excellent - comfortable and very clean. The location couldn't be better. I would highly recommend the hotel.
This place is really nice, clean and great staff, always very helpful. My partner I just needed a place to stay between flights, this place is close enough but far enough that you don't hear the planes. They have a free shuttle bus which always great!
Great location near LAX airport! We were in town on a short overnight for an event. Stayed close to the airport due to early departure the following morning. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Underground parking with pass from front desk, well-lit. Convenience store and restaurants across the street from the hotel. Also on public transit, easy drive to the airport and close access to major freeways. Staff is very welcoming! Complimentary breakfast buffet was served hot - breakfast area well-kept.
Not a fancy hotel, but totally comfortable and conveniently close to LAX. Excellent value. Just down the block from the airport and a few blocks away from car rentals. I dropped my car off the night before departing and the the hotel shuttle picked me up as soon as I called them. The staff was super helpful and eager to make my stay comfortable. Because of their desire to please, I rank my stay at this Best Western as a "10." I've stayed at many fancy hotels where the service was shabby in comparison. Kudos to the BW staff. Thanks, and I'll be back again.
Have stayed many times at this hotel only problem I have is that the airport shuttle is one a hour. Would be better if it was every 30 minutes. If the hotel could change this, the hotel would them be perfect for staying at.
This was a very nice hotel--staff pleasant and helpful; breakfast more than adequate; airport shuttle reliable. We will stay here again when traveling to LA area. In general Best Western Plus is a guaranteed good deal. You do have to book through BW to use rewards credit against room rate.
Our 5 night stay was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was always fresh and tasty with a lot of variety. Room was clean and couldn't hear noise from other guests. Airport shuttle was a plus.
this Best Western hotel was a great location for us. just off the I5 and close for the budget rental drop off on the way to the airport. swimming pool and hot tub were nicely located outdoors on the second floor so you aren't exposed to the street traffic and great star gazing at night.
our family enjoyed and comfortable overnight stay here, close to LAX for connecting flight early the next morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful and our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Good to have Airport shuttles too.
Hotel was convenient.Breakfast had a nice variety. Parking was $10 a day. I think that should be included with your stay.Staff was very friendly. The rooms were comfortable. We had 5 people, we stayed in a doulbe room with a pull out sofa..we had lots of room.
Overall my experience was good. My wife and son enjoyed our weekend getaway. Ther pool was refreshing and the guest we met were friendly. The staff was very courteous. The breakfast was more than I imagined and delicious.
Friendly staff, airport pick up and drop off - clean and tidy hotel, rooms decent sized with decent beds, nice pool and spa area. Breakfast was ok - everything you needed - breakfast room was a bit small as was crowded the second time we stayed there but we just took breakfast back to our room. Great location to airport. Would stay again.
The front desk lady Geta was the rudest person I've ever encountered while traveling. Phone etiquette was mean and distasteful. Attempted to overcharge us and then refused to rent us a room after our reservations had been made months prior. I wouldn't suggest anyone deal with this sorry excuse of a business.
Great shuttle service from LAX, nice easy check-in for a quick one night stay! Rooms were nice & big and clean! Breakfast the following morning was standard hotel fare, but always quick & easy when can be eaten at the hotel before heading out for an early flight and it's Free, so no complaints here! We were able to print our boarding passes on the lobby computers and catch an early morning shuttle back to LAX, both drivers were very nice along with friendly, helpful hotel staff! Would stay again.
Loved this place! Staff was super nice, and the rooms were amazing! Will definitely come to stay here again, if I am in the area!!! It was a Gem in the middle of downtown LA. Staff was helpful and showed that they cared about my stay and making it as comfortable as can be.
I have stayed at this hotel several times going and returning from pleasure vacations. The shuttle bus from Santa Maria is able to pick us up at the hotel after our return flight, making it very convenient and avoiding return to the terminal to be picked up. We stay in a back room which is quite quiet, although this time there was a loud person(s) stomping around upstairs. Next time I will stay on the top floor. Staff is very helpful and polite. Breakfast is typical but OK.
Very good service (shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off), friendly staff and breakfast included. Wifi disconnected a couple of times and the hotel looks a bit old fashioned. Perfect for a night close to the airport. Swimming pool and hot tub available.
Good service from the staff. The plane to catch was early in the morning and they proposed to add an unscheduled bus drop off. Very good breakfast. Large and comfortable rooms with sitting facilities. A recommendation.
